The 28-hour Mikey Marathon kicks off with host Mikey, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Boston Rob, and Ashley in the studio, promising no sleep or commercials. Ashley, battling a persistent "24-hour flu," is diagnosed by Mikey as simply having "the flu." A major prank on germaphobe Sean is revealed, involving Post-it notes with gross messages left in his "Seanatized" room at Mikey's house, leading to a humorous investigation into whether producer Eddie or Sky's husband, also named Eddie, was the culprit. The show also covers the breaking news of Britney Spears filing for divorce from Kevin Federline, playing a MuchMusic video of K-Fed receiving the news via text message. Later, Mikey's brother Mark calls in to discuss his recent loss in a Tucson school board election, and the crew engages in a heated debate about the controversial topic of castration for convicted sex offenders.

You're listening to the 28-hour Mikey Marathon. Brought to you by Fox 6 News. On KIOZ, San Diego's rock station. Rock 105.3. The following takes place between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. It's on, man. It's on. That's it? Oh, no. Great. Oh, no. From this point forward, we are on the air for 28 straight hours. We are all here in the studio. Myself. Eddie, Sky, Sean, Boston Rob, and Ashley. And if you don't believe that we're on when it's 2 and 3 and 4 o'clock tomorrow morning, just call us. No commercials, no music. The only thing, the only times that we will ever take breaks are to serve the purpose of why we do this to begin with, to expose other members or other people in the audience that may not have ever gotten the opportunity to hear us, to hear us.
That's why we're on for 28 straight hours. So at times you will hear sprinkled throughout the show a classic Tyrone and Tortilla bit or a classic tough love with Eddie. If something fantastic happens on the show today or this morning, you will hear that replayed later. That serves another purpose. We have to use the restroom. And at times we'll just have to get up and go use the restroom. For all intents and purposes, we are on this show. And I will tell you, we do not sleep. There is never a break taken so that we can get sleep in. It does not happen. But we're on, man. From now till tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. Our phone number, 570-1053. And I will be the first to say this. Only 27 hours and 58 more minutes to go. Stop it. Stop that right now. Sean, is your mic not working? I have it on, and it's not going on. Oh, there you go. Oh, there's that baritone that I know and love. Ashley, how are you feeling? I'm ready. I'm here. Good to go. You were sick the last couple of days, so I want you to be honest with me. Tell me how you feel. I had a little bit of the chills still going on this morning, the sweat, and my stomach is still just not, like, happy with me.
anything besides Sprite. What do you think? Cold? Flu? No, it was the straight-up 24-hour flu. But it's been longer than 24 hours. Yeah, but that's like... We're going on about 57 hours. Do you think you had the 62-hour flu? No, the 24-hour flu lasts 24 hours. It lasts 24 hours. It usually lasts 24 hours. It's in the name. It's 24 hours. Can I explain? Sure. It's like a three-day process. At the beginning, you kind of start feeling achy. The main day is when you've got the fever, like all day. And then the third day is when you're kind of getting better. We'll go to Eddie in a second because he's a doctor. But I'm going to diagnose you. You have the flu. I would not call what you have the 24-hour flu. Usually that one lasts for less than 24 hours. What you have is called the flu, and it's not good. Yeah, but it's okay. I've got everything I need here. I'm totally prepared to rally it out. All right. Rally it out. Rally it out. Yeah. Rally it out. All right, Sean, your sound effect's working. Let's test them. All right. Sounds all right. Sean is in the studio with us. He is not broadcasting out of the Bay Area. He's actually here with us, which is nice. It's very nice.
Let me introduce everybody and then we'll take phone calls. 570-1053 is our phone number. My name's Mikey. I'm the host of the show. And I woke up at 2.30. Oh, no. Did my best. Hey, man, I did my best. I even asked God to put me back to sleep. Oh. And he did about 10 minutes before my alarm went on. So, been awake since 2.30. Eddie is our producer, sports guy, my best friend to 20 years. What time did you wake up, Eddie, with the alarm? With the alarm. What time? It was great. 4 o'clock. God, you're a lucky man. You are a lucky, lucky man. Yeah, but I didn't go to bed until 10. Really? My usual. I always do my normal routine. I don't like switching it up because I don't want to be overly tired. I don't want to feel weird. And right now we have a little bit of adrenaline going on. Yeah, I mean, I usually... say zero words to Skye in the morning, and I was chatty Cathy in the office. Yeah, he was. Which is different. Yeah, what's the deal? When you walk into the office, is Skye already here? Normally, yeah. And so when you walk in, you don't say a word. This is the extent of our conversation. I'll walk in, I'll smile at her, she'll go, eh.
and I'll nod at her, and then I sit down at my computer. I would love to see how that goes now, because I'm never there. It's literally like that. I'm not exaggerating. It's weird, because she doesn't face the door, so I'm surprised that she hears you. Yeah, she'll usually turn around when I walk in, make that noise, which I guess means good morning. Do it, Skye. That's what you do? I give Rob one of those in the hallway, too, when I see him. And, Eddie, you don't make a noise back. I nod at her, usually put my... my bag down and start working. And then you guys don't say a word to each other? No. Unless the printer is having problems, then I'll be like, oh, Eddie, the printer's effed up again. And then I'll go, eh. No, you don't. It's really strange. We, on the show, the vibe at 5.30 in the morning is so different than 8.30 in the morning. By 8.30, all of us are wound up, and when we go into commercials, Eddie's singing and pulling Skye's hair, and Skye is randomly singing and yelling things out like Tourette's-like. Accurate. Eddie will be out of the room, I will be on my computer, and Skye will go, Mike, Mike, Mike's name is Mike. Whose name is Mike? Mike's name is Mike.
And when she does that, I don't look at her. I continue to do my thing. And that's what goes on. It's really strange. This guy's our news girl. She's 29. And I've known her for many years. I'm never really sure how many, but a lot. I've known her for a few. Sean is our sound effects guy. He's very tall. He's a large man. The Hulk. That's right. Hey. I don't know if he's the Hulk. He's the Hulk. I heard he was. We will talk about something that Sean was very upset about staying at the house last night. Look at him. He's already rolling his eyes. What? Oh, that's weird. Well, this is going to be awesome, whatever it is. Well, it's just interesting that only one of us really reacted immediately to that. Yeah, isn't it? You look funny. One of us here on the show reacted immediately to that. Ashley. What? No, it wasn't Ashley. It wasn't? No, it was you.
You reacted first to that. Eddie, what did you do? I care for Sean so much that I get worried about the guy. Eddie? It's going to be one of these days, Sean, huh? Boston Rob is our... Resident screw-up. Resident screw-up? Is that what you want to go by? Hey! You know what I figured? I'd take the self-deprecation. That's my deal. And I figure... If I do that, then I cut you off. Then you don't have any reason to say anything because I've already acknowledged it, so why would you? I figured you were going to say something really nice and glowing about the guy, and there he goes calling himself a screw-up. Wow, brutal. When you introduce me, Mike, you can introduce me as, you could say, I'm Rob, you could give my age, and say a factual thing like, I like Borat. That is true. And has anybody else on the show seen it yet? God. Oh, I apologize. Sorry to offend you. You've been a little busy. You guys don't have time to just go to the movies like me? No. Ashley is our assistant producer, and she's 23, and she does a lot of stuff. Somebody asked me the other day, what does Ashley do? And it was hard to know where to start. I said she does a little bit of everything. She's got her hands in a lot of... She's spinning a lot of plates.
Yes. And even the great Bobby Kernels is with us. Intern Bobby Kernels is with us this morning. Hi, Bobby. Oh, great. That's right. Oh, now, Sean. The guy does a lot of things for us. So he is here. He is in the house tonight. He'll be here for the entire show. Wow. Mr. Kernels. So, Sean, why don't you tell everybody what you told me when I came down the stairs. Just let me know when you want me to go to sports because I'll be ready. I can do that, Eddie. You got it. You got it, buddy. For those of you that don't know... Keep it real? Those of you that don't know, Sean is a germaphobe. And my wife hermetically seals... Is that the right word? Hermetically seals his room that he stays at at our house when he comes here from the Bay Area. Apparently not well enough this time.
She put a note on the door that said, do not enter. This room has been Seanatized. And she spends a lot of time on it. She gets everything in there in order. I told Sean, you know, it's practically to the point where when he opens that door, he hears a little freshness seal pop. But I had all the members of the show, except for Sean, over at the house on Saturday night for a little barbecue this last Saturday. And apparently someone... decided to play a little practical joke on Shawnee, oh boy. Really? Who would do such a thing? Sharks. So, Sean, what did you find when you went into your room? Mikey, I found a lot of post-it notes in my room, which were all designed to make sure that I, A, did not sleep last night. Oh, no. And B,
Stayed in the shower the whole time. What? What did these notes say? Where were these notes and what did they say? The notes were posted throughout the room saying various things like, Eddie's ass was here. The clock radio said, I licked this. Interesting. Because then you can't touch the clock radio and you need to use the clock radio. Well, you kind of have to wake up in the morning. Oh, no. My goodness. Yes. Where? What other locations? The bathroom faucet. Because you've got to touch that, right? Uh-huh. But I didn't. You didn't touch that? Because it said, I squatted over this. Okay, that's fine. Wow. Whoever did that is... Cute. Sincerely, Dr. Eddie. Well, you know that wasn't me because I'm not a doctor. But the worst part was when I got into bed, finally talked myself off the ledge. I'm laying there. You know how you put one arm under the pillow as you lay your head down? Shut up. Just shut up. Honestly. Why are you acting like this? It's actually not funny at all. So what happened when you put your...
Look at that look. Look at that kisser. He's not. It's the opposite of stoked. What happened? I put my hand under the pillow. There was another note. It said Eddie's DNA was here. No, I did not say that. Eddie, why would you do that to our friend? Well, it's Eddie. It said Eddie. It said Eddie's DNA was here. Now, hold on. I'm going to pull the curtain back a little bit. Go ahead. Sky's husband, who we know as Mr. Sky. Right. And the reason why he's known that is because his first name is also Eddie. And we don't want it to be any confusion. Sky, did your husband do that when he was over at the house? Taking a lot of liberties. Taking a lot of liberties. Taking a lot of liberties. I don't know why the fingers pointed at me. There was two Eddies at the house that night. Yeah. But only one of them is a doctor. Thank you. And that is you. I'm not a doctor. Only one of them bothers me about my germophobia. True. Which one? Forget it.
What? Sean. Come on. Sean, don't push the mic away. It's 6.15. How do you know it was me? Shut up. We have 27 hours and 45 minutes left. Do you have proof? You don't have to give him the bird. Fine. You don't have to give him the bird. Well, you know, it wasn't me. And I'm offended. I'm offended that you would automatically. I was framed. Maybe Mike did it. Mike did not do it. I was framed. Skye, where were you at? Mikey didn't do it either. Skye, where were you at, like, 7.30 that night? Well, how do you know it happened at 7.30? You disappeared. How do you know it happened at 7.30? You said 7.30. That's so very interesting. Wow, wow, wow. How interesting that you guys are jumping to conclusions. Well, you gave an exact time. That was the time that Skye disappeared at your house. I disappeared. I was up in the nursery with your fiancé and Mikey's wife. Were you? Well, you came up there and yelled at us. Yeah, Eddie did go up there and yell at you guys. What about that? Eddie got really irritated that they had been gone, and it was rude, right? Well, yeah.
The women all went upstairs into Jake's room, and they didn't come down for like 45 minutes. It was all goo-goo-ga-ga stuff, and I'm like, come on. He needed a change. He needed to be fed. Yeah, well, you guys should come back down and socialize, be nice. But we don't like you guys. That's interesting. Very interesting. Maybe it's clearer now who did it, eh, Sean? No, I like Sean. Sean, do you have a sound effect? Do you have a sound effect, Sean, that's like, ba-dum-bum? A big thing like that? Do you have anything like that? I have one of these. There you go. Ladies and gentlemen, you've all been waiting for us to begin talking about this, so we will. Brittany and Kayfed are getting a divorce. Holy moly. Holy moly. No way. Shawna wrote me an email three minutes after the news was announced on CNN.com. And it was a break. It was the red flag up on top of CNN.com. Oh, my God. Britney Spears files for divorce against Kevin Federline. Yeah, I got so many emails from P1s. Be like, did you see? Did you see? I'm like, yeah. I'm ready now. Listen, how santee is it to pop out two kids and file for divorce five minutes later? I'm ready now. Why did you have the second? Why did you? First of all, why did you meet him? Second of all, why did you have intercourse with him? Why did you marry him? I'm ready now.
Why are you the way that you are? Yeah, all of these questions. Why all of these things? It's ridiculous. Why are you the way that you are? It's awesome, though, that they waited until his album dropped. Although they should have announced it before the album dropped. Hey, by the way, I wonder what happens to Kevin Federline now that he doesn't have the Britney Spears money and support. But obviously he's going to get a big settlement, right? They said they have an ironclad prenup. Prenups don't mean anything. Let me tell you something. I'm going to tell you, in the state of California, prenups mean something. It will spare you some pain, okay? But there are no two ways around it. You are paying something. And it's not a little bit when you're that rich. There will be a settlement from this. I just wonder how much. It'll be better. But this is what it... This is what a prenup does not mean in the state of California. You don't divorce and break free and clear. And I don't owe you any money and you're on your own. That does not happen with a prenup in California. P1 Vanessa is probably listening. She's a divorce attorney here in San Diego. She probably knows this. Do we have her number? Is there any way to get a hold of her? I know Elizabeth from sales is friends with her. She probably has her number.
This is a great day to talk to P1 Vanessa, who's a divorce attorney here in San Diego. She will know what a prenup means, what a prenup doesn't mean. Oh, yeah. I got her phone number. Send it to Ash. But normally with prenups, especially with rich people, don't they put like a payout clause in there? Let's ask Vanessa. Yeah. Listen, I'll stake anything on the fact that when we get Vanessa on the phone, There are no prenups in California that legally allow for there to be a clean break without any money being exchanged. What's the point of drawing up a legal contract? To make it better. See, if you don't have a prenup, it's bad. It's really bad if you get a divorce. And you have a lot of money. It's really bad. You basically use half. Yes, for sure. Undoubtedly. Undoubtedly. And if you have a prenup, it makes it better. But you don't get...
Like, he's going to get a lot of dough from Britney Spears. You don't need it? Yeah, he's a very successful rap artist. His own money, yo. Yeah. Talking about fool. Very successful rap artist. What do you suppose precipitated this? Like, why now? Real quick, do you want Ashley to call Vanessa now, or is it too early? No, it's not too early. We've got to get a hold of her. Okay. Ask her. Never too early. Yeah. Should we? Or wait. Before you do, hang on, Ash. Hang on. 6.20 in the morning. Ashley. Ashley. Ashley. Hold on. Hold on. Don't call yet. Don't call yet. I wouldn't be. Well, why don't we wait until the seven hour when, you know, we're going to have more listeners at seven o'clock. We got a lot of listeners now, but at seven o'clock, we're going to have a ton of listeners. So maybe we wait and talk to her then. And a lot of people are still holding. But what do you think? Why now? Well, I read. I guess, magazine is reporting because it's NW Magazine, which I Googled, and I believe that's Northwest Magazine from what I can get from what I Googled. But one of my prep services said in the Sunday edition of NW Magazine, they reported that Britney Spears moved into the Four Seasons Hotel in New York indefinitely. And they said that. When, when? On Sunday. And this kind of in a way makes sense because she was on Letterman, you know, the other night.
Last night she was seen skating at Rockefeller Center. So, I mean, so she's definitely in New York. Like, there's no doubt about that. Looks very different, by the way. What does? Brittany. Oh, Brittany does, yes. Looks very different. We saw her on David Letterman. And she's got this really funky haircut that I think looks really kind of goofy. She's got the bob. Is that what it's called? Well, yeah, it's a bob. She looks like a guy named Bob. But it's a little longer in the front on the bob and a little shorter in the back. But so they reported that she moved into the Four Seasons Hotel on Sunday and that the reason she did is because her and Kayfed got in a fight. Like she made some kind of insulting comment about his WWE stuff that he's been doing. And according to their sources, he went on a rampage, started screaming at her, smashing things, punching walls. And she says, that's it. I fear for my safety. I fear for the safety of our boys. And we're out of here, according to NW Magazine on Sunday. Which is normally a great source. Right. I've never even heard of this magazine before, but they're the ones being quoted as, you know, this source. Because they're very young and stupid, is there any chance that in a couple of weeks or a month we hear, oh, they've worked it out? There's a great chance. Yeah, we may hear that later today. Yeah, we might hear that later today. I saw the, like, legal document, I guess, on, like, Entertainment Tonight.
the divorce document, but I'm still waiting to hear a statement from them that says, yes, we are officially done. Well, where is, where's the news we're getting? Where is it coming from? That they, I mean, from their legal documents. Yeah. There, somebody supposedly found these documents. Right. And when, um, and you know, according to. Whoever, all these documents and stuff, they say Britney has hired the same lawyer that like Angelina Jolie used, Nick Lachey. And when people have been calling Britney's rep for a statement, Britney's rep is directing them to the divorce lawyer. So to me, that kind of backs it up a bit. How many kids does Kevin Federline have? Four? At least four. Two with Char Jackson. Yeah. And two with Britney? How funny is it that he doesn't have to pay child support probably for either one because both are richer than him. Because both women that he impregnated have a lot more money than he does. And he'll probably get palimony. Skrill. Yeah, well, they said in the legal documents that, you know, Britney is waiving her right to spousal support, and she also wants both sides to pay their own attorney fees.
So KFED's going to have to pay his own attorney fees if he wants a good attorney. Skrill. Can't wait to talk to P1 Vanessa. P1 Paparazzi is on the line. Are you there, Paparazzi? Good morning, Mikey. Ready for $20? Yes, we are. P1 Paparazzi is taking some pictures right now. You can hear him taking the pictures. No more. We call him paparazzi because he comes out to our personal appearances and he takes photographs of the camera of us. I think you've gotten quite enough, Brad. I said... Oh, he tries to get that last one. Last picture, right? Like, that's going to be the one that sells. Just one more, man. Come on. One more. No. I said no. He said no. You didn't give me the opportunity. P1 Brad, I did not... I responded to your email that I got from you this morning about bringing in the guacamole. which, by the way, I will try, and I'm actually really excited about trying. But you said that you had to go home and Seanatize the forks and the stuff that you were going to use to make the guacamole and whatever in hopes that Sean would try it. Not a chance in hell. No way. No way. So, yeah, I thought that I should probably let you know there's nothing that you could do that would probably get Sean to try.
The guacamole answer. Yeah, it doesn't have anything to do with you, Brad. No, I beg to differ. Oh, wait a minute. It has everything to do with it. No, that's not true, Brad. Sean is saying that, but I'm sure he doesn't mean it. I am disgusted by this person. No, I'm sure that Sean... I actually am. Brad, the reason that he's saying that is because he's doing a bit. We're on the radio and he thinks... We are on the radio, but it's not a bit. Okay, and Sean... Sometimes in the spirit of being sensational, we'll say things that he thinks will elicit laughter or whatever. But I'm sure that off the air, he would say, no, you know, I would totally try that. Absolutely not. So anyway, there you go. What were you calling about, Brad? Gross. I was going to say, Kate is going to make out like a bandit in this. With him divorcing Brittany, even with a prenup in place, the prenup is only for anything that happened prior to the marriage. The moment they got married. anything that they made after that point is 50-50. That house they just bought, that $20 million house that he paid his fair share to, that's a million dollars, they split it 50-50, 10 mil each. Anything that she's made, if she's released any albums that have done really well, well, he gets half of that. Sean, let me ask you a question.
Really, is it necessary when P1 Paparazzi is giving a very genuine and good opinion, kind of compelling opinion, for you to make the googly eyes and make the face at the microphone that says, I'm not doing that. You're not doing it now, but you were doing it when he was giving his opinion. I don't recall. Well, let me remind you. If you don't recall, I can remind you. You were. Still not seeing it. Okay. Anybody find it interesting that Sean has Walkman earbuds in right now? Yes, I noticed that first thing. That he's not wearing headphones, he's wearing the Walkman earbuds. He is a different kind of person. Yeah, I did not want the sweaty headphone thing for this 20-an-hour deal. Oh, good thought. I would love those kind of headphones for this show. Because these headphones, after a couple hours, are going to give me a headache. And I've got to take them off. Your ears get all hot and sweaty. Jacked. I have a really good pair, really expensive good pair of earbuds like that from a company called Shure. And Sean, what would I need to get from Fry's to make those work in this headphone jack over here? I'll have my wife bring them when she comes back. Well, you should actually, as long as you have... Hold on just a moment, Sean. I'm sorry. Eddie, can I ask you something? Sure. Do you recall...
when I had a conversation with everybody on the show asking them to not belch on the air. Yes. And I made this announcement when we started to notice that an extraordinarily large amount more women were listening to the show and that the show wasn't just popular with men anymore, but that by and large, women were defecting in droves from other radio programs to listen to this one. And so we own the market with men. Virtually every man in the city of San Diego listens to us. We'll see you later, Brad. But that now we had a lot of women that were listening to the show, and so, hey, let's try to be respectful of that. That is good grape juice. Really good. And not belch on the air anymore. You'll notice, Eddie, that I've stopped doing it and that you've stopped doing it, which is really tough because you're a guy and you did that. But there is this one thing. Sean has not only continued to do it. but does it very brazenly and has done it numerous times. To the point where you've had to have separate conversations with him specifically asking him not to do it. Even off the air where I've said, hey, Sean, remember the conversation where I asked, hey, we probably shouldn't belch on the air. We have a lot of women and it's probably disrespectful of the women that are listening. And Sean, when I have these conversations, goes, oh, yeah. And it's as if he had never heard that.
for you know each time that i mention it oh yeah and then he says he won't and then right now i asked him a very simple question sean what would i need to get to get my headphones to work that way and he began that answer with uh a very like a belch that said the belch said i'm here and i don't care a lackstaisical belch i wouldn't help ash not when it's about words Uh-oh. I thought I had that one. I don't know why it was laxadaisical. I thought I had that one. Remember when you had a conversation with Ashley? Uh-oh. Where she didn't have to, like, jump in? I was trying to help, genuinely. And help. Genuinely. So anyway, Sean, what would I need to get? As long as you have an eighth-inch to quarter-inch adapter, you'll be fine. Okay. Is that this right here? What's on the end of already on the end of my deal? Yes, however, that one right there may not work because that's the type that screws on to the end, and you want one like this that just pops right off. That's all you need. We may send Bobby Kernels to go get that, and I'll put in the earbuds later. I've got to remind Rebecca to bring the earbuds. All right, let's take some phone calls. P1 Quimby is on the line. Hey, good morning. Quimby?
Yes. I'm going to let you know that the answer to your email is yes. You can come in with P1 Turtle. Oh, my God. Are you kidding me? And you can watch the movie. Oh, Sean made a face right now. Oh, no. Sean made a face right now. Did Sean like the Purell and the gloves? Actually, you know what? I do appreciate that. They're actually right here. He's got them in front of him right now. It doesn't mean I like you, but I like the gift. Yeah, that's okay. I would never expect you to like me ever. Hey, Quimby, you're not going to beat us up when you come in, right? Oh, no way. Don't be a beating and, you know, mind your P's and Q's. You got it. Okay, here's the deal. Sky, have you been to PerezHilton.com yet? Yeah, I'm actually watching it as we speak. What are you watching, Sky? There's video. I guess Kayfed was taping an interview with MuchMusic when he got the news via text message that Brittany was divorcing him. You see him getting the text message that she's divorcing him. Yeah, I'm 40 seconds into it, and I haven't seen that part yet. Sky, send me the link, and I'll plug my computer in, and we'll listen to it. Sean, can you do it? Yeah, get it dialed up. Yeah, Sean. Shawnee, oh boy. You're the best. No, it is the best thing. I was on the Internet last night until like 1230. Sean hated what Eddie just said right now. I mean, he just hated it. I don't understand.
Give him a compliment. I know, but he didn't like it. You can tell. I know what you're doing, man. Giving you a compliment? Go ahead, Quimby. No, it's the best video I think I've seen yet because he's on there talking about how he loves his baby so much and he cries. You know what? Don't tell us anymore. Don't tell us anymore. Let us watch it and we'll play it back here on the radio. Okay. Thank you. Whenever you're ready. All right, Sean. Go ahead. I'm Sarah Taylor. Welcome to Much News. After two years of marriage, Britney Spears has filed for divorce from Kevin Federline, citing irreconcilable differences. According to People magazine, Britney filed the divorce papers on Tuesday. Pause. However, Britney listed Monday as the official... This sounds like the most novice, unprofessional, like, college student. Yeah, it sounds like college... College TV? Yeah. Like, it makes you almost appreciate that pukey Billy Bush.
Going, and in other breaking news right now, K-Fan and Brittany have decided to call it quits. Like, how ridiculous. Like, this sounds like somebody's sister. I think. Sean, do you know what much music is? What is it? I think much music is like MTV in Canada, I think. Oh, okay. Yeah. I think it is. What do they do? Do they go into high school cafeterias and ask people to raise their hand if they want to be on television? This woman is terrible. Go ahead. This is the same day Kevin appeared on Much On Demand, co-hosting and candidly talking about Britney and his children. You know, I sniffled up a little bit last week when I was missing my children, so that's the honest truth. This was the diamond that I gave to my wife when we first got married. So, you know, I... I got her a bigger one, and I made a pinky ring out of this one. She really loves what I'm doing right now, and she's probably my number one fan, you know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying, yo? Much Music was following the rapper around the entire day, shooting an episode of the reality show, Exposed. She's the one that's been telling me, like, to do it, do it, you know? And she's very, like, thinks highly of it, you know? People are going to really pick up. She's like...
You know, she believes in it big time. Like, she sees, you know, that, I mean, together we take over the world. He spoke about how strong his relationship with Britney was and how his partying has affected them. He uses that phrase a lot, the take over the world. Like, you can tell that he's, like, he's trying so hard to be, like, the black rap community that's so into Scarface and so into the Scarface sort of, oh, what's that word I'm looking for? The Scarface. imagery, and they're really into it. And he's trying to take that on. He's a white guy from Fresno. Yeah, you know, and it's like, you know, we're trying to take the world over. The world is yours. We've seen the movie. We get it. Unpause.
It's hard to see everybody right now. It's hard enough trying to get time to see my kids. If me and the wife are beeping or something like that, then yeah, I'll go out and have a good time because it keeps my mind off of that. It's a different element. While continuing the exposed shoot at dinner that same night, the singer was text messaging someone and appeared to be upset. Okay, so he's got his head in his hand. And the other hand is texting. Kevin removed his mic and was gone for 30 minutes. Kevin later returned visibly upset but finished shooting the rest of the episode of Exposed. Kevin is currently promoting his debut album, Playing With Fire, while Britney stays at home with the kids and works on her latest album. That's it for Much News. We'll see you next time. Sean, did he look real upset? Yeah, he looked really upset while sitting at the table because he was, you know, texting. And then, like she said, he took off his microphone. He took the microphone off. put it on the table, went and got in his car. They showed him sitting in his car in this SUV, texting again. And then a little while later, he came back. He didn't look happy. Not at all. Oh, boy. Divorce over text message. I know. I'm like, well, they're both just kids, man. Yeah. They're both just little kids. And she is, can you imagine? Come on, man. What'd you get yourself into this mess for? Hey, y'all, I want a divorce. Yeah.
Hey, y'all. I want to have two kids, and I want to have no husband, and I want to have no father for my kids, and I want to have a million dollars, and I want to know the Hamburglar personally, and I want to make another dance record. Well, and what's, like, also, like, everything about this is trippy and kind of trashy and whatever, but on top of that, so she knew. She filed those papers, you know. She knew on Monday they were getting a divorce because that's the date she lists on the papers that were filed on Tuesday. She does a surprise appearance on Letterman Monday night. Yeah. Don't you kind of feel like we all got punked? Like, come on. Like, if you're in the middle of working out divorce papers, you're going to take time out to do a surprise unscheduled appearance on Letterman? Well, it wasn't unscheduled. If they're saying it was, it wasn't. I'm sure that that's been planned. That surprise has probably been planned for a month. Oh. You know? That's just the way that works. But what I think is crappy is, come on, man. You know, like, we're all going to know. And what about the Matt Lauer interview? Everything's great. Chewing the gum. Those poor kids, though, man. Right? I know. A one-year-old and a two-month-old. That's brutal. Jeez. So, anyway. Shawnee, I just tried to bring that up. I can't. Okay. So, if somebody can print the audio page for me. Yep. I sent it to Sky.
Let's see. P1 Birdman. Yes, sir. What's up? Well, you know, yesterday I won and was forced to decline. Wait, wait, wait. Hang on. First of all, for people that don't know what he's talking about, P1 Birdman was vying for the opportunity to come in this morning at 10 a.m. and be a part of the P1 Hall of Fame Challenge, where we're going to crown somebody a... You know, like one of the best Mikey Show listeners by answering really tough questions about the Mikey Show. And P1 Birdman called in, but he said he couldn't come in today. And so we moved on. We found another people. You can only have three people. I understand. And so you were not forced out. No, I know. I forced myself. No one's fault but my own. I understand that. I'm not asking for any sympathy or anything. I would just, you know, since I can't come in and do that, do you think I could bring you guys some water? I work for a local water distributor, and I was hoping to drop you guys off a couple of cases of water for the 28-hour show. You know what? That is a far-out question, and I will have to send you to my executive producer. He makes all the decisions on the show. That is a far-out question. Executive producer on the show. So, Eddie, what is your thoughts on that? I actually have met Birdman before. He seems like a pretty cool guy. He seems like pretty normal for a P1. Oh, wow.
We have plenty of water and stuff like that, so I just don't think it's necessary. Well, there's just so much stuff here. It's nice. It would just go to waste. Yeah. We don't want that. I'm looking at, like, there's coolers in here, and there's just stuff, you know. It's all good. I just, you know, if you guys could, maybe I could play the game over the phone. If you guys, you know, and beat them over the phone. I don't know. I'm just trying to come up with ideas. You're throwing the kitchen sink at you. Yeah, you're becoming a beating now, Birdman. A little bit of a beating. Oh, wow. A little bit of a beating, Birdman. We wanted you to come in yesterday, and you had to work, and, you know, we got to leave it at that. It's all good, and we'll probably do this bit again. You're a good guy, Birdman. Okay. Take it easy. Thank you. P1 Bridal is on the line. Hey, it's P1 Bridal, guys. Bridal. I just want to say good morning. What does Bridal mean? drinking nickname that was given to me. What does Braydel mean? It doesn't mean anything. It comes off my first name, Brady. Okay, go ahead. You know, Draydel, you spin around like a cop. Gotcha. This is my first time coloring, so I'm a little nervous. Don't be nervous. As a matter of fact, as you get ready to ask whatever question you're going to ask, don't be nervous at all. Just know that there are thousands and thousands of people listening right now.
I have the windows up in my car, and I am parked in a parking lot. Okay. Well, just to understand that because we're doing the 28-hour show right now, even more thousands and thousands of people are listening right now. So don't be nervous about any of that and try to keep it out of your head. You know what I mean? Just don't think about it. All right. All I called in to say was good luck. I'm kind of excited. Thank you. I'll get a chance to hear you guys in the afternoon. I don't normally get to do that, obviously. And that's why we do it, man. That's why we do the 28-hour show. We're going to be on from now. Until 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. I'm already sleepy. Stop. So, anyway, Braydel, I appreciate the phone call. Thank you very much. Thanks so much, guys. Good luck. We'll see you. Yesterday, we all went to the polls. It was election day yesterday. And the Democrats took the House. The Senate still up for grabs. Yeah. They're looking at Montana and Virginia. And the Republicans just need one of those.
states to take control of the Senate. I think they'll probably get Montana. But it's still up in the air, so we've got to wait and see later today. And we will be on the air to be able to bring you that? Right. B-Rob, get my brother on. Try his cell phone. My brother was running for the school board council and had signs up all over Tucson. And he was pretty worried. He said that he spent, out of his own money, $60. Oh, I was expecting you to say something in the thousands. Maybe tens of thousands. Now, the other people running, they did do that. They had a lot of money, and Mark was given a lot of money by people. There was a lot of people that heard what he was talking about and supported him. Go ahead, Eddie. Illegal campaign funds, it sounds like. It was not illegal campaign funds. $60? Come on, that's outrageous. It was out of his own pocket. Here we go. Here you go. Yes, sir. I voted yesterday for the Pro Bowl. Did you say you voted for the Pro Bowl yesterday? That's right. I mean, why bother with the elections? I'm out in a couple years. Who cares? Don't you want to show your support to your GOP buddies? Why bother, really? I mean, at this point, who cares? It's a mess.
That's an awful thing to say. I'm out. I washed my hands of it all. That's an awful thing to say, President Bush. Did we get him? Mark, are you there? I am here. We have embarked on our 28-hour marathon broadcast. It started at 6 a.m. We will not be off the air until tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. Oh, man. And I have had you on my mind quite a bit. Yesterday, people of Tucson went to the polls. Are the results in yet or no? The results are in, Mike. What happened? Well, I'm afraid I did not make it. I know. I know. Even I was surprised. I'm bummed. But it was an experience, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. What would you change? In the schools? No, no, no. What would you change in your approach? Oh, gosh. What I really need to do, Mike, is get out there a lot more.
I was always a long shot, but I really do need to get out there. I need to get known in the community. You're the smartest guy I know. You're a good guy, and it's too bad that people didn't get to know more about you because I think that you would have made a great addition to that school board. I have to say that I gave it my best shot, Mike, and I had the time of my life. I'd never done anything like this. I would say that if anybody's interested in politics, start early. I wish I'd have started a long time ago. It was that much fun. He wants to make differences. He really wanted to make differences. What were your thoughts on that school board? What did you want to change? What did you want to do? Gosh, Mike, there's a perception in the community that drugs is a real problem. I'm not convinced that it's as big as they think it is. But because they feel that way, I think we need to do a few things, and they're kind of stonewalling on that. There was a teacher retention problem, and I would have liked to have worked on that, and just more access to the community. There wasn't a lot of play between the board and the community, and they came off as arrogant, and I thought, well, you know, you just have to be able to get out there and meet people.
It's too bad it worked out the way it did, but in two more years, there's two more seats up, and I think I'll make another run at it. I hope you win, man. Change parties this time. Yeah, become a Republican. Yeah, right. I would love it, Mark. If only you could come over to the right side. To the dark side. Yeah, the dark side. Oh, and it is the dark side, let me tell you. Oh, man. They're just mad because we own everything. That's right. Not the house. Every time I meet one, I look down and all I see is hooves. All right, all right. Hey, well, listen, hopefully we will be syndicated into that city and I'll campaign for you by that time. That sounds like a plan to me. All right, Mark. And I would like to make my pitch for you in this 24-hour period. 28. 28. Do not cheat us of those four hours. It's 28. 28, 28. Get Sandra Bullock and call me back. Yeah, he wants us to get Sandra Bullock. Well, listen.
I can appreciate that. He's said this to me since I got into radio. He is such a fan of Sandra Bullock. He's gone on eBay and got autographed, you know, photo on his desk. Hey, Mike, Mike, Mike, something should remain family secret. No. Well, he's a fan, you know. He thinks she's really beautiful. Although he recently read an article on her in Vanity Fair and thought she sounded like a dum-dum, so he was disappointed by that. Again, Mike, family secret. But, yeah, if we ever get her on, we'll definitely let you know so we can get you on to talk to her. That sounds like a plan to me. All right, Mark, thanks for coming on. All right, Mike. We'll see you. That's my brother, Mark. Very smart person. I can't figure out the Democrat thing, you know? Whatever. She's it his way. It's because he's smart. That's right. Opposite. Sees it his way, and that's the deal. So, Sky, give us a rundown of the important things. that were passed yesterday um okay so locally some of the stuff uh that was going on in the 50th district you know uh bilbray was taking on busby again it's bilbray isn't it bilbray bilbray i mean you can say bilbo if you want to say bilbo baggins was taking on busby he's taking on mordor yeah what i understood and so he won again and you know is going to keep his seat there in the 50th district brian bilbray defeated busby yep
Francine Busby. Francine Busby, who I thought was a bit of a beating, if I'm being quite honest with you. And then we decided... Quite honest. If I'm being quite honest. Quite honest, yes. We decided as a county that we're out on the idea of using Miramar as an airport. Yeah, I think it's kind of stupid. Yeah, so that one, you know, got shot down. Statewide, regarding sex offenders and Jessica's law, that passed. So what does this mean? This is the thing about the GPS tracking, tougher restrictions about where these people can live, where they can be. How about t-shirts that say I'm a sex offender? Can we vote on that? Yeah. Let's see. Prop 80. Skye, would you vote if there was something on a ballot that said that we will castrate, remove the testicles of sex offenders surgically if you are convicted in the state of California? of being a sex offender, of molesting kids, that it will now be a law that those sex offenders will be castrated. Would you vote yes or no? Ooh, that is tough. Now, people who are found guilty of statutory rape, like a 19-year-old sleeping with a 17-year-old, are they considered sex offenders?
A 19-year-old sleeping with a 17, it will be in specific cases. Like if the child's under 14 or something like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's say that's the law. Oh, man. That is a far-out question. It is, and I'm having trouble committing to it. I want to say, yes, I would support. No, no, you know what? No, I wouldn't support that. No. Typical Democrat. Yes, yes. Yes, I would. No, I wouldn't. No, I wouldn't. Yes, I would. No, well, because I'm working it out in my head. I'm thinking I'm going, I'm going, OK, well, maybe a couple people can be like wrongly accused, wrongly prosecuted. But then I'm thinking, even if you castrate them, that's not going to stop their fascination and their wanting to diddle and their obsession with children. So it's not going to stop anything. No, but it is a punishment. And it's up to me. It's maybe maybe a deterrent. Maybe some guy thinks he's going to lose his boys if he gets caught. Maybe he thinks twice about it, whatever. I say no. It wouldn't really do the trick. How about you, Eddie? No way, man. I would vote death before castration or a lobotomy before castration. Because there was a guy.
it was in the news a while ago, who was castrated, who was still diddling little kids. Because it doesn't change your brain. Even though you lose your genitals, it doesn't change your brain. And that's all it is. It's all jacked up brain stuff. I would vote yes on it only because I couldn't vote twice. If I could vote twice, I'd vote for it twice. Because I believe that it's humiliating and it is uncomfortable and I think that it's a punishment. It's a punishment, so I'd vote for it. I would also vote yes on lobotomy. Sean, how about you? I think that I would vote for castration, definitely. However, I don't think that you could castrate them and then put them back into society. I mean, they've got to remain locked up. I don't know that you can change your sexual orientation like that. Gay people have great difficulty not being gay if they so choose to try and do that. So I just don't think you can change it. I don't think of homosexuality as a mental illness. I do think of guys that diddle kids. That's a mental illness. I believe there are mentally sick people that diddle kids. I don't think of it like a sexual orientation.
No, it's not. I don't think that they go. But that is their sexual attraction. Yeah, but I mean, are we really, are we saying that a sexual molester, like a child molester is like, yeah, that's the way I swing? Yeah, like that's, you know, definitely one's a crime and one's not, but it's what they're attracted to. If you're homosexual, you're attracted to the same gender. If you're a pedophile, you are attracted in that exact same way to children. But Mike's right. That's a mental illness. It's an illness. It's not like, hey, I'm attracted to blondes or, hey, I'm a guy and I'm attracted to guys. I believe in their mind, that's the way they're thinking. I do, too. I do, too, because, you know, they're sick. People that are attracted to their pets are mentally ill. Yes, yes. Depends on how cute the dog is. I mean, you know, obviously, if they're cute. Got the blonde hair. Please, no. Do you want more? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Wait, wait. I've got to ask a question, though. Sure. I was kidding about the dogs. All right. Ashley, what's the deal with the legal ID? Do we know? You're just going to play it top of every hour.
No, I know that that's the way legal IDs work. Okay. It's the FCC regulation. Yeah, Mike. Here's the way that works. The FCC requires each radio station in the United States to legally identify itself via call letters once per hour. Which is called a legal ID. And that is, in fact, a legal ID. The reason they call it legal is because it's a law. You have to do it. Boy. Hello. Radio 101. Okay. You've been doing this. No, but as I'm looking up here, Ash, it says 28-hour legal 6 a.m. Yeah, so just scroll down to 7 a.m., and it should just press the next pot. As I scroll down, though, I don't see anything. I don't see anything. Or even just press the next pot on your board. It should fire it. All of the pots are up and turned on. Yeah, we can't fire anything. Yeah, you can't. Do you want me to do it? Do you see it in front of you? Yeah. Okay, here's what I'd like you to do. Put them on my button bar. in a particular area that I know where they are, and I'll fire them off that way. We're going to have a separate wall for that thing. We are? Yes. Why don't I just tell you where you can put them every hour? I'll give you a button. Oh, same button. Same button. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You can give it to me every hour. Okay, cool. See the MS Angry Mikey? Cover up MS Angry Mikey 2, and you can put it there every time. I love MS Angry Mikey. What, Sean?
I love MS Angry Mikey. Why are you going to replace that? Because it's MS Angry Mikey 2. I've got MS Angry Mikey 1. Yeah, but 2 is a good one. Yeah, Sean doesn't know what 2 is. Here's 2. And now it's time for Mikey to become angry. Superior. Ah, yes. Ridiculous. See, we've got to do all this talk on the air because we can't go off the air for 28 straight hours. Did you guys know that's 28 hours that we're on the air? Not anymore. P1 Robert, are you there? Yes. Go ahead. Hey, Mikey. Yeah. Are you there, Robert? Yes, I'm here. Go ahead. I just wanted to comment on the castration that you guys were talking about earlier. Uh-huh. And I actually think that once a sex offender gets charged, they should just throw them into the general population like everybody else. They do. A lot of them get put into isolation. Oh, you're talking about in jail, that they should be put in the general population in jail. Gen pop. Gen pop.
Just throw them all in there. Yeah. Hey, listen, I don't have a problem with that. And they have to wear an orange jumpsuit that says, I'm a sex offender. An orange jumpsuit with a hole in the back. Orange jumpsuit. Well, that's a far out thought. A really far out thought. You want to give them my pajamas? Sean, your pajamas are not an orange jumpsuit with a hole in the bottom. That's not true. It's not true. All right. That's not true. Burnt Sienna, but the formatting is the same. Yesterday, Sky let everybody know that she believes that orange is a gay color for a man. Oh, really? Yeah. She let us know that in the office. Yeah, it was neon orange. It was? No, actually it wasn't. It was orange. I believe it's like a bright orange. Okay, but it wasn't neon. Well, isn't that what bright orange and neon orange? They're the same orange to me.
Yeah, they're different. One's neon. But Skye, she thinks that that's gay. Why is she generalizing homosexuals like that? I don't get that. All right, Skye, what else? Prop 85, the one that would say if you are under 18, you need parental notification to get an abortion in the state of California. That did not pass. So you do not need parental notification. Yeah, so it'll stay the way it is. So you can, if you're 16 years old, you can go get an abortion and you don't have to tell anybody about it. Correct. Wow. Yeah. Wow. You know, they were arguing, hey, you need a parent notification for your school to give you Tylenol. You need parent notification to get, you know, shots at the doctor's office. That's crazy. Why shouldn't you need one for this? But it did not pass. It was kind of close, but it did not pass. False. I believe that you should have parental notification for that. I think that your parents should be aware that you're about to have something really serious done to your body. And that it's a very serious thing. That abortion is not a... It's not between you and your boyfriend. Like a little kid music going off. You're a little kid. You're 16. You're a kid. Yeah. I don't care what you think. I don't care how old you think you are. You're not your kid. But there are some people who don't have...
good relationships with their parents and this would either stop them from getting an abortion or else, you know, have some repercussions at home. Cause them to hide the pregnancy, try to do other things. Or they could try and get it done by someone who is not professional. Exactly. Back alley. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know that there's really a market for back alley abortions. Well, not right now, but if this were to pass. Yeah, listen. There were in the past when there were restrictions. That was the whole thing in the 70s. Roe v. Wade. Haven't you seen Dirty Dancing? Come on. Great call, Ashley. Great call. Thank you. This is true. Really, everything goes back to that movie, huh? Yep. Hell yeah. It's one of the movies we consider for the 28-hour show. Yeah. We got a stapler that works. Oh yeah, there's the little black one right there.
