Is this ours? Is this a new one, Ashley? Do we know if this is a new stapler? I do not know. Ah, swing line. I don't know. Okay, Prop 86, the cigarette tax did not pass. What is it? It would be the one that would, you know, really jack up the prices on a pack of cigarettes, extra taxes that would go to education and a bunch of other stuff, but it did not pass. What was it going to make the tax be how high? I don't know. I can look it up for you if you want. It's going to be like $8 for a pack of cigarettes? I remember when we first started talking about it, it was going to, yeah, it was a pretty substantial leap. Yeah, Mike, I was going to have to start stealing again. I was going to have to really start collecting cans. If I wasn't a felon, I would have voted. Hey, guys, we have to do something. You're listening to the 28-hour Mikey Marathon. Brought to you by Fox 6 News. On KIOZ, San Diego's rock station. Rock 105.3. The following takes place between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Only 27 more hours. Shut it. And then we'll be off the air. Ah, cakewalk. Great. Don't do that, please. What else?
Prop 87, the one for alternative energy. You know, you saw those commercials. Bill Clinton. Yeah, trying to get that passed. I just want people to know that if you pass this proposition, people will fart rainbows. What? How is that possible? When you smile, little happy leprechauns will jump out of your mouth and they'll dance a little jig. It's going to be so awesome if you pass it. California will be the first state. To fart rainbows. Well, actually, that's not what it was. It was an oil tax, and the money from that would go to alternative fuel. But, unfortunately, that did not pass. I want to know why. I want to know what was the deal with it. Like, why would people be for it, and why would people be against it? What was the bad side of it? They were saying that it would jack the prices up at the pump. You know, that even though we would be taxing, like, the oil refineries or whatever,
You know, it would be passed on to us at the pump, and people don't want that. How'd you vote on that? I voted for it. You wanted to pay more at the pump? Yes, I wanted to pay more at the pump to research things. Yeah, but you have three cars. Nope, I only got two, Mike. Oh, you sold the third beach car? Yep, the beach car's gone. So now you've got two gas guzzlers. Nope, I have two fuel efficient vehicles. Why would somebody that has two gas guzzlers... I don't have gas guzzlers. I have two Hondas. I mean, doesn't that seem counterintuitive? Isn't that counterintuitive? I think I like 30 miles a gallon. So strange. Better mileage than your car. So strange. Well, yeah, mine's a gas guzzler, man. Right? Yours is. Mine is not. Yeah, I love it. Yours is not. Fun. All right. When you live in a mansion. Well, I don't live in a mansion. You can afford this. Good point. Hey, we're talking, please, about the electrician. Wait, let me tell you. The next car, I'm hoping, is a 500 horsepower car. No. That sucker gets about seven miles to the gallon. Brutal, man. Wait till you smell the inside of it. Skrill. Smell the inside of it. All that Merino leather. Yeah. Smell of a new car. Yummy. Yeah. Wow. Okay. Let's see. You guys will be happy to know that we get a few more years of the governator, everyone. Fantastic. Yes, everyone excited. Celebration. You knew that was going to happen, right? That's right.
Yes. Last night, I fondled a couple of women to celebrate. Oh, okay. I reunited, cooling the gang. Yeah. Do a little celebration. Yeah. All of those 70s, really. Casey and the Sunshine Band. Got them together, too. Oh, man. We really had a party. We called it a grope party. No. Congratulations. Stop the White House. Yeah. No. Yes. You can't stop me. I'm the Terminator. So those were the big ones. Cool. Is that it? Yeah. I mean, you know, there's other ones, you know. P1 Al. Go ahead. Is it Al? Yeah. Okay. Go ahead. You can call me Al. Go ahead, Al. Is the phone that you're talking into shaped like a football or a cleat? Like, did you get it for getting a Sports Illustrated subscription? This phone sounds so terrible. Can't understand a word you're saying on that phone. That's all right. Do you have another phone that you could switch to? I think you're making a good point. It's just that the phone is really hard to understand. Wow. Wow. What kind of a phone is it? What kind of a phone is that?
The Samsung C809, I think it is. I just want to let people know what kind of phone not to get. I think you're going to make a good point. You were against it. You were pregnant. You were a teen. And so I'd love to have people hear what you had to say, but you've got to get to a better phone, okay? All right. All right, thank you. That sounded really bad. P1 Jake is on the line. Hey, how's it going? What's going on, Jake? All right, so Syracuse Orangeman. Come on, I'm not going to let Sky just bash on. Orange like that, you know, Tennessee, Clemson. Oh, my God. All those teams. This is your issue, sir. She's bagging on orange. Right, Bengals, the Browns. That's right. You're standing up for orange. Yeah, that's right. What about the Bengals and the Browns, Sky? What about Upa Loompas? No. You know? Well, you care. She's going to hate pumpkins next. That's right. Well, you're awful. I don't hate pumpkins. I don't hate the color orange. Pumpkin racist. I saw a pair of black shoes that had a bright orange stripe going through them.
I thought they weren't very masculine. So sue me, okay? Sounds gay. Lindsay Lohan was on the Oprah Winfrey show, and she was upset about the party girl reputation. What? Oh, come on. Lindsay. Okay. Cut one. So tell me this. You have this huge reputation for being the big party girl. Oh, I hate that one. Is that true or not? No, no. I mean... What? I've been acting my whole life. This is what I love to do. And I'm very lucky and blessed to be able to do that. I'm 20 years old. Is it a crime to go and, you know, dancing with your friends? We've heard Ashley say this, right? This is what you hear when they have a reputation and you call them on it. The answer is always, hello, I'm 20 years old. Every 20-year-old is... crying in their car with a bottle of vodka in their hand. Can we role play? Can you be Lindsay Lohan? Sure. Lindsay, though, we have photographic evidence of you coming out of nightclubs every night. Okay, and I'm here to tell you that if you were to go to a lot of nightclubs all over the country, every 20-year-old is doing the same thing. But me, no, wait, excuse me, because I'm me, because I'm in movies, everybody wants to take pictures of me. Okay, wait.
First of all. I'm not the only one. In other places in the world, 20-year-olds aren't let into clubs. Excuse me. In other places, 18-year-olds are let into clubs. Go to Mexico. Have you been to Mexico lately? 18-year-olds. You said anywhere in the world. You're right. Go to other countries. Go to Spain. Go to Mexico. Go to Denmark. Go to Amsterdam. Amsterdam's a country. Go to all of these places. And you will see that they're 18 years old. You're in America. Right. And I'm saying that I'm not the only 20. Have you been to Pacific Beach? Yeah, they don't let them into clubs. They're 21 and up. Every person 20 years old in Pacific Beach is drunk. That is not true. Yes, it is. Have you been there? Yes. Where do you live? Do you live in PB? No, I don't. I frequent there. Thank you. Why are you... If you lived in... It doesn't make any sense. Ashley... Ashley's a friend of mine. Ashley... Yeah. Right? Tell him. Yeah, I mean, but Lindsay, I at least kind of admit that I like to party and drink. You're not going to be on my side? I at least admit that I like to party and drink. I said I'm 20. I like to go to class. I'm 21. I mean, above 21. So you are a party girl. No, I am doing what every 20-year-old is doing. Why aren't they called party girls? They would be if they partied every night. I don't party every night. Yes, you do. We have photographic evidence. What? We have photographic evidence. Okay. Of what? Of me? Of coming out of clubs drunk. How do you know I'm drunk? You're stuck.
You're on the ground in this picture. I tripped. I'm clumsy. I'm guilty of being clumsy. No. I'm guilty of being clumsy. I will admit to you, I'm not the most, you know. You have vomit on the front of your shirt. It's not vomit. What is it? It's oatmeal. We were eating. It was an oatmeal party at Hyde. It was an oatmeal party at Hyde. Ridiculous. Sky, you can say that. It's a 28-hour show. You don't have to IM me. Well, you guys were in the middle of your, you know, I didn't want to interrupt your Lindsay Lohan good times. Sky needs to make an amendment to the election results. Yeah, and this is upsetting to me, but it looks like with now 100% of the precincts being counted, Prop 85 did pass. That was the parental notification for abortion. Wow. Yeah, when I printed off first thing this morning, it wasn't up to 100%, but it had it not passing, and I guess those last few percentage points of the precincts, when they just tallied it up, 51.05% yes, 48.95% no. What's the margin for error? Right? So I don't know.
We'll see, but according to this latest website, it did pass. What's for breakfast? Oh, wow. Brutal. Oh, yeah, good question. Boo on that. I know, that's a bummer. Somebody has a really good point on the line. P1 Matt, are you there? Yeah, did Skye forget that her favorite baseball team has orange on her jersey? That's a great... Dude, first of all... So are the Giants gay? Are the Giants uniforms gay? No. Are the Giants uniforms gay? No, because they're not bright orange. Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. The orange on the San Francisco Giants is the same color that we saw. Rob, do you have the shoes still? Go get them. I put them on your chair in the office. They were the exact same color. Well, I would like to look at them again because I do not believe me. Okay, all we have to say is that the color of orange on the San Francisco Giants uniforms are bright orange. No. I will not relax. They're not right orange. In fact, they're chartreuse, if we're being honest, which is a very pale orange. And I'm not out on the color overall. You said it's not a masculine color, and your favorite sports team is orange. Yeah, I didn't think those shoes looked very masculine. I'm not going to lie. Can we try to get P1 Vanessa on the line now since it is 7 o'clock? And coming up on the show, what we're going to be doing here very soon. Where do I put my list?
We're going to be doing It Happened Off the Air. We're going to do our first ever It Happened Off the Air. That looks like the freaking Giants orange. That is not the Giants orange. Sky, it is too. Put black on that and it looks like the freaking Giants shooting. Absolutely. It's like deeper than that, right? She won't. That's infuriating. Here's the deal. It's right in her face. She's got the TV in her hands. Just walked out of somebody's house. The cops are there, TMZ.com, with a camera in her face. She's got the Zenith. She's walking out with her. They're like, we've caught a thief stealing a television. She's like, I'm not stealing anything. What are you talking about? You've got a TV in your head. I'm so pissed right now. It's not a TV. It's a computer monitor. Where are you going? Did he take the shoes out? No, he left the shoe right there. Calm down, everyone. It's just a freaking color. Look at that. It looks like the San Francisco Giants tennis shoe. Come on! No, she won't. Well, and for the record, I think it's different when you're part of a sports team than just an average Joe walking down the street. Wow, that is fantastic. You said yesterday that that color orange was gay. I said those shoes looked a little gay. Sky, it's the same thing as your San Francisco, your beloved San Francisco Giants. As a matter of fact, it might as well have an SF emblem on the top of it. Not true. Please. Not true.
Sean, look at this. Let me see. Identical. Oh, it's identical. Eddie, show me your screen. Oh, it's absolutely identical. Look, I have... Show that to Skye. I have no investment. Skye, Skye, Skye. I just closed it. Skye, get up. It is. Skye, get up and walk over to Eddie's computer. I don't want to. You have to. I don't want to. You gotta. You gotta. You gotta. Go over there. You gotta. Stupid. Please. Oh, Skye, you're unreal. You're unreal. Oh, my God. You're unreal. Skye. Skye. I'm telling you, it's a match. I can't take it, man. It's a match. We have 27 hours and 45 minutes of that last. I'm over it. I'm over it. Oh, well, I'm over it. Mikey Show. How about that? Hi, Mikey. What's up? What's going on, dude? You on DJ Stevo. What's up? Hey, did Skye forget that she from Escondido and Escondido High is black and orange? How about that, Skye? Your hometown. Well, there's multiple high schools in Escondido, and I don't go to high school right now, so I don't think that applies to me. Whatever. So offensive. That makes me offensive because I'm not enrolled at Escondido High School? Yes. Well, if you were enrolled, you'd have to tell your parents if you wanted an abortion. If you took that shoe down to Home Depot, had it scanned, it would come up giant orange.
Thank you, Eddie. No, it wouldn't. Let's do it. It would. It actually would. It actually would. It actually would. We don't have time to do it. No, it wouldn't. Bobby Colonel, send me to the depot. Is anybody trying to get P1 Vanessa on the line? Left a message. Oh, you got her cell phone? Yeah. Really want to talk to her. She's a divorce attorney. I told her to call us back. Gave her the number. And we want to talk about the Brittany K-Fed thing. K-Fed. K-Fed, K-Fed. Oh, no. Right in her face. From Britney Spears' Dateline NBC appearance, cut 24. So, he's living here. Oh, definitely. He's working very hard. Living on the main floor? Yes, of course. There's not a basement somewhere? He helps me. He has to. I'm an emotional wreck right now. Not in a bad way. Just, you know, I'll start laughing hysterically and then I'll just start crying.
So it's the hormones of the pregnancy racing through your body. Yeah, so it's nice to have my husband there to keep me company. Cut 17. I know this sounds like the cheesiest thing in the world, but finding somebody to, you know, share your life with what it can do and what it really means and how you should embrace that. In a big way. I feel like I'm a completely different person for the better. It really does create miracles. All those things you try to look for, but it's all about... Yeah. Geo, baby. Yuck. Cut 16. Everything that I've ever hoped for in a woman. Everything. Sweet. Kind-hearted, down-to-earth. She's proud of what we are together. Rich. We talk to each other and it's like... Buys me Ferraris. It's instant. Takes over your whole body. Gets me producers. Provides me with hip-hop producers that I couldn't in a million... If I live to be one million years old, could never get on my own. That's all I'm saying. I wonder what it's like.
to be known as the person that financed the worst rap album in music history. You don't mean that. I think he means it. I do. I'm getting the impression that he means it. It's a good song, though. It's the only song on the K-Fed album that's good. So Snoop did a special appearance on the album. Is that the deal? Okay. We do have some divorce attorney stuff here from CNN Headline News and Showbiz tonight. They were talking to some divorce attorney about this. Cut nine. Is there such a thing in California as an ironclad prenup, though? Well, the prenup is only as good as the draft. I mean, it's only as good as the paper. And we're dealing with some very high profile.
California lawyers here, especially the one that Brittany is now engaged. I'm sure the agreement dots all its I's and crosses all its T's. So I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin is going to have to lick his wounds with $300,000 and keep the marriages a very nice memory for the two years or so that it existed. They're saying that in terms of the kids, this may get a little sticky. Cut eight. She is asking for legal and physical custody of their two children. And it's so sad to me, such small children, a 13-month-old and then an 8-week-old. Would you be surprised if Kevin thought that, if he contested part of that? I think he might contest it for a short period of time just to see if he can get some money out of her, to be honest with you, because I understand that there is a lock-type prenup. But in the end, I think he's going to just be happy with liberal visitation. He'll see his children just as he's seeing his children from his first relationship, and that's how things will end up. He's asked for a five-year circulation visitation.
So every five years, he's asked that he be able to have a phone conversation with him. Other than that, he's really not interested in anything more than that. Generous. He misses the first one. He's busy, yo. Yeah, so on their 10th birthday, he remembers. This is an interview from last Friday. If you're just tuning in, Britney Spears has filed for divorce with her husband, Kevin Federline. This is an interview with Kevin Federline from last week. Last Friday, cut seven. You see all the negative stuff, but, I mean, everybody's got to know that, like, behind closed doors, everything is, you know, is great. It's not always what they say it is, you know. I mean, we're people, too. We're happy behind closed doors. We play with the kids and run around the house, you know, and we do stuff that normal people do.
But, you know, like I said, you know, the tabloids and the whole media thing is so crazy in Hollywood right now. It's not just us. It's everybody's getting it. Everybody's going through it. But everything's okay here. I'm ready now. No way. I'm ready now. Brittany, tell us why you love K-Fed. Cut 11. What is it about Kevin that makes you love him? It's very simple. Women complicate everything. He's so simple. His simplicity. He's like a boy. He cares. He cares so much. What does he care? His heart is awesome. He has a really big heart. And I love that. He has an enlarged heart. Yeah, he's got an abnormally large heart. A murmur. Genetic disorder. We looked at it one time, y'all,
one of them CAT scans. It's real big. It was hells-a-big. Yeah, it was like, it was all like this and everything, and I was all like, whoa, that's big. And he was all... Yeah, and I was just all... I'm like, awesome. Yeah. I was like, whoa, honey, that's like a pumpkin in there. And we were both like... Yeah, and he was just all, he looked at me, and he was all... And I was all... You know, we just like, sometimes Kevin and I, like, we can talk and talk or not talk for hours. You can just make noises, yo. Yeah, like, sometimes we just look at each other and we're just like, huh. We can just, like, not talk for hours. Yeah. Which is great. It's awesome. I mean, I was all the other day, like, and then he was like, what? Yeah.
And then, like, he started eating his chili dog, and I was like, uh. And he goes, uh. It was all, uh. And I go, uh. And together, we were like, duh. Yeah. That's what I said. Yeah. And then I video text messaged him. I was all, D-U-H. Sometimes we don't even have to see each other. We don't even have to be in the same state. Ever. Again. For, like, months. Yeah. All right, move to New York City. He didn't even know. It's great. Kevin's so stupid. Cut 12. Do you think there's a sense out there, Brittany, that some people who love you and have watched you grow up get some feeling that he's not good enough for you? Oh, that would hurt me for anybody to say that. I mean, I don't think he is, but I don't want others to say that. It would be horrible for someone to say that.
Because I love him, and that's all that matters. So if there's a headline to come out of the marriage portion of this interview, it is that you're happy, and there is no end in sight. No, it's that I'll file for divorce in eight weeks. You look at me sometimes when I say things like that, almost like a little puppy dog. No, because I say it because I just feel for him. You know, because he's a man, and he's trying to work and do his thing, and I feel bad for him. Well, how does it affect him when he hears about this? When he hears everybody predicting that this marriage is over, that he's living in the basement, that he's on the way out. Yeah, I mean, it's true. Let's make no mistake about that. I just wish it wouldn't have got leaked. Yeah, who leaked it? Who was it, y'all? One of my peeps? Probably Manna. Mermaid. Yeah. I think that's her name. I don't know. Some Spanish name. It's something in Mexican. P1 Jessica is on the line. Go ahead, Jessica. I just wanted to say that my mom is, I'm from Fresno, and my mom is friends with his aunt. I'm sorry? I'm sorry, what? I'm sorry? My mom is friends with Kevin Federline's aunt. No, I heard you. I said I was sorry. Oh. Come on.
She says that he's, like, a really spoiled little brat, and he doesn't, like, talk to his family very much anymore. And so we're just, like, all really glad that this is happening. Like, maybe it'll, like, open up his eyes or something. Maybe it will, Jessica. Were you guys all, pfft? Yeah, because I, like, there are times where we would be sitting naked in the hard rock pool, and I'd be all, pfft. And he'd look at me and be all, uh. You guys want to play this game? It Happened Off the Air. Let's play It Happened Off the Air. We're going to be on the air for 28 straight hours. Do not take any breaks for commercials, music, nothing. Here's how you play It Happened Off the Air. Do we have prizes pretty much throughout the whole thing? Yes, we do. All right, so call us right now, 570-1053. What can we give away right now, Eddie? We have tickets to the premiere of Tenacious D, The Pick of Destiny. Ah, yes.
So what we'll do is we will tell you something that happened off the air, and you have to tell us who did that. Was it me, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Boston Robber, Ashley? The game is called It Happened Off the Air. And it's a pretty simple game. Brand new game. That's right, brand new game. Never played. Mikey Show, who's this? What? P1 Space Boy. All right, dude, you know the show pretty well? Yep. All right, we're going to tell you something that happened, and you have to tell me who was that. Okay. Who? You called a guy a fag in public because he said he listened to Jeff and Jer. That is incorrect. It was Skye. That is the truth. We were all so proud of her. We said, you've got to be kidding me. Skye, what happened? Well, let's just say I was PMSing a little bit.
My mom asked me to go stand on the corner and hold campaign signs for Jim Desmond, who was running for mayor of San Marcos. Did he win? Congratulations to Jim Desmond this morning. Yes, he is the new mayor of San Marcos. There you go. Good job, Skinner. You played a part in that, Skye. Yeah, me and Leonard Skinner, dude, we made it happen. That's awesome. That's right. So I'm like PMSing, you know, and of course, I'm not too thrilled to be out on the street corner of Woodland and Mission during afternoon commute in San Marcos, one of the busiest intersections. Wow. So whatever. So I'm out there. And of course, you know, my mom is like a little angel and she's like always so proud of me and stuff. So there were other people on the street corner, too, helping to campaign for Jim Desmond, but also campaigning for other people. gentleman who was out there was campaigning for someone else. And, um, and so my mom goes, Oh, this is my daughter. You know, she's sky on the Mikey show. And the guy's like, she's who on the what? And you know, already I can't stand that guy. Yeah. Right. It's not that it's not that he doesn't know the show. That's not why it's the, it's the, the, like that attitude. And we know this guy, we've seen this guy of like the what on what? Right. Cause first of all, he probably does know the show. He's probably heard of the show.
Not according to him. But so he so the North County Times had said, hey, you know, maybe we'll come out and take pictures for the paper of you guys, you know. So so we're waiting. And my mom goes, oh, you know, do you want to call that North County Times guy again? She's saying this to the guy who has no idea who I am or who the Mike show is. Do you want to call the North County County Times guy again and see if, you know, if he's coming out here when he's going to be out here and all that stuff? And then my mom being, you know, my mom trying to work every angle. She goes, oh, you know, make sure to tell him that Sky from the Mikey show is out here, you know, hoping that that will encourage the reporter to come out, the photographer, whoever it was. And so, you know, I guess the guy goes straight to voicemail and, you know, leaves a message. And when he's leaving the message with the North County Times person, he's like, yeah, star from the from Mike show is out here and blah, blah, blah. So he hangs up the phone. He goes, yeah, didn't answer. He goes, I bet if Jeff and Jer were out here, the North County Times would show up. What a D. I mean, just a D. Just a D. Like an unnecessary, you know what I mean? All right. So I get pissy and then I start kind of like.
you know, sending little snaps back at him. I'm like, well, if you look at some of the ratings, I think the paper would be more interested in the Mikey show, to be honest. And then he goes, oh, really? You guys are beating Jeff and Jer on the ratings and blah, blah. I'm like, well, yeah, in certain demos, definitely. We're, you know, we're killing it. And so this is going on and on. And then finally I just start ignoring him. And then we're walking back towards the car because it's now dark out and we're done for the day. And the guy says something to me like, oh, well, I will try and call into your showgram on Monday morning. And I'm like, yeah, if you call our show and refer to it as a showgram, the guys on my show are going to call you a faggot. I was just up to here. I had just had it. I love it. Wow. She told us this story over at the house on Saturday night. I'd had enough. And me and Eddie, our jaws dropped. Like, you did what? And you know what? So out of character. I felt so guilty about it, like, for the next couple days. I'm like, God, I hope that didn't embarrass my mom. And I hope, you know, but I just had it, man. Yeah, stand up for yourself.
Good for you. Yes, that was me, unfortunately. All right, we're playing It Happened Off the Air. All these things happened off the air. P1 Derek is on the line. Yes. Derek, you ready to play? Yes. All right. We're going to tell you something that happened off the air. You have to tell us who it was. Was it me? Was it Eddie? Was it Sky? Was it Sean? Was it Boston Rob? Or was it Ashley? Are you ready? Yes. Who was at Mikey's house on Saturday night, saw Mikey's cat on their chair, and said, get the F away from me, you stupid cat. Skye. Did you say Skye? Yeah, she seems like she's got a pretty bad attitude lately. That is incorrect. It was not Skye. That's a horrible guess, sir. Skye's a cat lover. I am a cat lover. She is a cat lover. Loves cats. It was not Skye. It was Ashley. Oh. What? Yes, Sean, looking at me.
Yeah, Sean. I thought for sure it was Eddie. It was not Eddie. It was Ashley. And Eddie laughed so hard. Eddie laughed so hard. I thought his head was going to explode. It was just so random. It was Jules. And it was so funny. You know, because Ashley's kind of got that little kid voice. And she turns around and sees Jules and goes, Get away from me, stupid cat. He took my spot. I get up for one second to get some bread, and I turn back around, and he's in my chair. I told him to get off. Idiot. Stupid. Stupid cat face. Stupid animal. Stupid whisker face. Dropkick you. They make me sneeze. You were dead. P1 Crease is on the line. How you doing, man? Pretty good, you? Good. You ready to play the game? I'm ready, ma'am. All right, it happened off the air. Who tells Skye every morning that she smells like onions? I would think that'd be Eddie. That is correct. And she does. Well, I do not. I never smell like onions. Yes, you do. And he doesn't only say it, he sings it a lot as well.
Well, the truth is that Skye does not smell like onions. She reeks of onions. Shut up. I do not. I smell nice. She does smell nice. And so it drives her crazy as if she were. It's like the two of them are 10 years old. It's like Eddie is 10 years old. Well, but it's like you're 10 years old as well because you react like a 10-year-old girl would. Oh, that's true. Like the two of you. Yeah, because Skye doesn't have any little songs about me and you. I'm all made of Chetty. How does the onion... Yes. Eddie, Eddie. He's all made of Chetty. Well, that is a factual statement. He's not made of cheddar cheese. Yes, he is. He's not. What about Captain Picard over here? How does this song go? How does this onion song go? How does it go? Lori, you smell like onions. That is not the song.
I can't remember it. Lori, Lori, smell like onions. It's Lori, Lori, in all your glory, you smell like onions. That's so dumb. It's the truth. It's not the truth. I'm so wondering right now. Oh, yeah, I'm sure. So funny. P1 Patty. Hi. Patty, are you a big fan of the Mikey Show? I am. Okay, good. We're playing it happen off the air. I'm going to give you something that happened off the air. You have to tell me who said it, okay? Okay. Who has been the most irritated with Ashley in the last week? Can you say that again? That is incorrect. The answer is Sean. And the truth of the matter is that on any given week, Sean is usually the one that is the most irritated.
At Ashley. Ashley's on the phone right now, so I can tell you this. I think Sean at times questions why she's on the show. Aw. Absolutely. That's terrible. Yeah, I think that at times Sean is, you have to see Sean's face sometimes when Ashley says things. He doesn't make any noise on the air, but when you look at him, his facial expression is, oh, oh, like how stupid. Like sheer disappointment. Disappointment in me. Like as a host, like why would you have her? On the show. You know, that kind of deal. A lot of times it's how many times does this have to happen before we take action? Right. That is the truth. P1 Soy Sauce is on the line. Oh, yes. Nice and salty. Soy Sauce, are you there? P1 Soy Sauce, are you there? How are you, Soy Sauce? Hey, man. How you doing? Good. We're playing It Happened off the air. Who turned down free food last week? Last weekend. Who turned down, who on the show turned down free food last weekend? I'd have to say this guy. That is incorrect. She never turns down a free meal. Are you kidding me? Stop it, that's not true. I don't know the show at all. That is not true. It was Boston Rob. We offered him the leftover tails from the lobster feast that we had. That was the first time I've ever had to say no to food. That's right. I don't like seafood, Mike. Dumb.
All right, we're going to take a break from It Happened Off the Air. We'll continue in just a second because we have on the line Samantha Harris. Hello there, Mikey and the gang. Boy, hour two of the marathon, so I'm getting you guys nice and bright-eyed, huh? That's right. We're all in a good mood still. I want to talk to you again at hour 26 when you're just completely loopy. Listen, it's bad at that time. Samantha Harris is the host of Dancing with the Stars, very lovely woman. Thank you. And it was kind of interesting because I remember that the first time that I saw you, you guys were doing the, my wife loves the show. But I'm kind of in it. They're always blaming on the wife dragging you in to watch. You know you want to watch. I'm telling you, let me tell you my honest deal with Dancing with the Stars. Other than Jerry Springer, I can't tell who's good and who's bad. Like, everybody seems good to me, you know. But my wife, everybody on the show except for me. watches religiously. My wife watches, loves it. But I saw when you guys had Sarah Evans on to announce the big news that she was getting a divorce. Yes, we did. Had to be pretty rough, right? Absolutely. And we were all very shocked. I mean, Sarah was very quiet and just a consummate professional, dancing and putting on the performance face when she was there. And so we really didn't see it coming at all.
We were, you know, so sad for her now that she's still going through this and that she had to leave the show prematurely. Mm-hmm. Samantha Harris on the line, who, by the way, was recently in FHM magazine. I know. It just hit the newsstand, and I thought, oh, boy, yeah, my mom's not all that excited about it. So what can you do? Well, hello. Well, you're not nude or anything. No, but it is the lingerie issue. Yeah, I mean, so, yeah, what did you say to Mom? Well, I told her that, you know, I said, when I did, I did some fitness covers. And I said, when I did the fitness covers, I was in a string bikini. I was showing even more flesh. So why are you upset? Yeah, I mean, you're a three-time cover girl, right, for the women's fitness magazines. Yes, yes, I am. Muscle and fitness. You've been featured in Maxim magazine. Yeah. Shape. I was in a bathing suit there. See, it's like when you're in the bathing suit or workout.
Clothes, you know, it's a little different connotation. Lingerie, you know. Sky, do me a favor. Google me an image of Samantha Harris and I am it. Do we? Yeah. You guys don't waste any time. Now, Borat says wah-wah-wee-wah. It's fine. We have a wonderful physique. Thank you, Borat. Samantha Harris, the host of Dancing with the Stars. Go ahead, Sky. So, love the show, Samantha. Thank you, Skye. Wish someday I could be a star enough to be on Dancing with the Stars, but we'll talk about that later. So, I notice a lot that your co-host, Tom Bergeron, he, like, riffs. Like, something will happen during the show, and then he'll crack a joke right there, you know, right after it. Do you do the same kind of stuff, or do you kind of follow, you know, your lines more, or do you riff a bit? I mean, I don't have teleprompter backstage, so, you know. It's sort of a different game. Tom's got telepompter, which really allows you a little bit more freedom, in a sense, because you sort of have the scripted page, and then if something happens, there's even more ability to be able to work off of it. But the other thing is that Tom and I are just, you know, we're trying to make sure that we don't... Tom is his own person. He's been around for a long time. He's got his great fun, you know...
Corny, but wonderful. Yes, he's very smooth. Yeah, I think he's funny. Very smooth. I think he's funny, man. He's hilarious, and he's very witty. He's very quick. Yeah. You know, what I sort of bring to it is I have a strong journalism background, sort of the Q&A. I would love to be able to have even more fun with it. The problem is that we have a very strict amount of time back there, and there are certain things that we need to do to drive the show forward. We need to talk to them about their dance. We need to move the storyline ahead, and then we have to pitch out there. you know, the appeal to vote, and I have to be equal for everyone because it is a competition, so it's regulated. So there's only so much wiggle room that I have. I try to get, you know, to get a little bit in there every so often, but it's not always so easy. Sky just IM'd me. Oh, what? So I'm seeing the photographs. What a lovely, very beautiful woman. Oh, thank you. Samantha Harris. So nice. Can I take a guess at your age? You can guess. I want to confirm it. How come women don't like to do that? I don't know. And I promised myself when I was like in my 20s, my early 20s especially, I'm so not going to be one of those women who doesn't tell their age. They should be proud of that. Yeah, I'm getting to that age. I'm like, oh, it's in this area. I was going to guess that you are 29. I'll take that. I can't imagine you're in your 30s.
From the reaction, I'm guessing maybe she's in her 30s. Skye, how old is she? Oh, I don't know, but she's gorgeous. I am in my early 30s. Wow. It's all good. You know what, I'm actually at a great time. The 20s, I think, is so much about figuring out your life plan and getting your career underway and maybe finding that significant other. Are you married? I was able to do that in my 20s and hit 30, and then bam, you know, great things happening with E! News. Dancing with the Stars and a great husband, so I feel lucky. I have an interesting fact about Samantha Harris. Uh-oh. What? Her parents created one of the country's first Renaissance festivals. Yeah, yeah, they did. Called... What? Yeah, the first one was in Chicago, but we still have one over near Cape Cod in Massachusetts. That's crazy! Yeah, every fall. So what was that like growing up? Talk about a surreal world. You see, first of all, my dad produced all the rock concerts in Minneapolis where I grew up. So that was sort of my school time playground. And then in the summer, we'd move down to Chicago and we'd be at the Renaissance Fair all summer. And I'd be sort of frolicking about this majestic world with knights on horseback and kings and queens and gypsy dancers and great food and this medieval, you know, 16th century English marketplace festival. It was...
It was amazing. Well, we're talking to Samantha Harris. She's hosted Dancing with the Stars, which airs tonight, 8 o'clock ABC. Yeah, results are tonight. Hey, listen, Samantha, I've got to talk to you about this. What? Mario Lopez, who's from San Diego. We have been trying to break this on Entertainment Tonight. Mario says, no formal training. I'm just going out there. I'm giving it my best shot. And, you know, again and again, he definitely stands by that. He's had no formal training. Now, Samantha, Samantha, wait a minute. Before you even say anything, I've got to tell you, we have tape of Mario Lopez when he had formal dance training here in San Diego. What kind of tape? I hear about this. I want to know what it is. Let me let you know. Eddie's my producer and sports guy, my best friend of 20 years. He's engaged to be married to a lovely woman named Debra. And Debra is... Well, she was a professional dancer here even with the San Diego Gulls, right, Eddie? Yes. And Debra has lived in San Diego her whole life. She used to dance with Mario when they were both getting this formal training together, and so her parents videotaped her, and he's on the videotape from years ago getting the formal training. Okay, now I have a question. Was he like, you know, 6, 7, 8 years old, or was he 16? No, no. He was a teenager. Really? Yeah.
Now, it's not ballroom dancing, but it is dancing, you know? Well, I mean, here's the thing. You know, when the producers and the network look at who they want to have on the show, they don't talk to them about their dance background. They want to make sure we have the best characters for the show and best audience appeal. You know, last season, Stacey Keebler, she had been a Ravens, you know, dance. Well, yeah, but she was very open about that. Whereas Mario has denied that he had any training, and he has. And that's in there. So you got to take that up with Mario. Yeah, that's the only sticking point is him saying that people in San Diego are kind of like, wait, but we know you did, Mario. Right. You went to the dance school with me. You know, you did this recital with me. How can you go on national TV and say that this never happened? But he's very handsome. Well, that is a good point, Mike. The dimples make him get away with it. Yeah, I think they get away with it. He knows how to use them, doesn't he? That's right. Hey, in three seasons of Dancing with the Stars, Samantha, who's the best dancer you've seen? Well, first season I wasn't part of the show, but I did report on it, so I did watch it very closely, those six episodes. The best dancer, the technically best dancer I've ever seen? You know, I would venture to say Mario. Well, duh. He's had a lot of training, Samantha. That's why he's had a lot of training. But I think Mario, you know what it is? He's not only is he so sexy when he dances, but he's got that ability to fill out.
All those beats in between all the moves that he's been taught. And that, I think, is what differentiates a decent dancer from a great dancer. That's right. Well, listen, Samantha Harris, thank you very much. Dancing with the Stars results show airs tonight, 8 o'clock, ABC. And I appreciate you. Who's going home, Samantha? I don't know, but whoever it is isn't going to the finals because we'll have the final two guys battling it out next week. Oh, wow. And everybody got perfect scores last night. And also, in case you guys want to, you know, get into the Britney and K-Fed news, E! News, which is my other show, E! News will have all that tonight. Wow. What do you think of that? What do you make of the Britney and K-Fed thing? Well, you know, boy, people in Hollywood say they saw it coming, you know, a mile away, just a matter of time, when Britney would wake up and smell the coffee is what a lot of people in Hollywood are saying. So we got all the reactions, though, from everyone dancing as well as some of the other celebrities around town. and what they really think about Brittany and Kevin's divorce. That's fantastic. That'll be on E! News. Thank you, Samantha. Thanks, guys. Have a great day. Yes, you have a great day. We'll talk to you later. Thank you. Sounds perfect. Bye. Bye. Samantha Harris. There are some people when they hang up, they do the laugh. Bye. Bye. There is the school that does, and there is the school that does not. I am in the school that does not. When I'm on the phone and I'm talking with somebody and I say goodbye, I go, all right, talk to you later. Bye.
But you'll notice that it was mostly females that are of the school of, bye. It feels good to leave on a nice note. Positive note, right? Positive note. I'm okay with it. All right, should we continue with It Happened Off the Air? We can. I believe Chris Cornell is going to be calling in any minute. Oh, hello. So we can go ahead and do that. Well, hello. Until he does, or it's a few. Let's play a little bit until he calls back. All right. Let's see, who do we have? P1 Dirt Boy. No, it's P1 Dirt Boy. P1 Dirt Boy. Lay on words. Wow. Sorry, Mike, I thought he said Dirt Boy. I'm so stupid. Mike, I don't know what I could do to get your forgiveness. But whatever it is, I am willing to do that. I beg of you, please.
Yeah, turn your opinion, sire. Turn your opinion. Good sir. Yes, grace, good thoughts upon me. Turn your frown about me upside down. All right, P. Wonderboy. All right. Wait a minute. We might have Chris Cornell calling in. I love that man. I do, too. Is that who it is, Eddie? Yeah, it should be. All right. Hang on the line, P. Wonderboy. Thank you, Ed. Hang on. The cavalcade of guests continue. All right. All right, Sean. Yeah. All right. Throughout the show, we will be talking to various movie stars, music stars, sports stars, and doing our regular Mikey Show stuff. New games, new bits. Crazy show today. And stuff that we've done previously on 28-hour shows like we'll be doing the Mikey Show Idol. We will all be singing. We shouldn't talk about that with Chris Cornell on the line. That's embarrassing. Especially since I sang an Audioslave song. Oh, yeah, you did one. Which one? I Am the Highway. Oh, wow. Okay, no, no, no. Dude, he can hear you. Wow. That's embarrassing. Chris Cornell is the best male vocalist in the music industry today. I agree with that. He is really good.
And I've enjoyed talking to him. We've talked to him in the past. He's very honest. He's very open about various things. What I like to ask Chris Cornell when we get him on is I like to ask him the normal stuff. Are you a breakfast cereal guy? That kind of stuff. Today I will ask him, what's your favorite pizza? If you go into a New York pizzeria, what toppings are you getting? And I always find it interesting that people that are fans of Chris Cornell, they will start to order their pizza that way. I took note of how Tyler Florence ordered his coffee. I would not get that particular thing. I don't remember. What did he say? It wasn't when he was here. It was when I was at the Sur La Table deal. He sent somebody out. It was when I was outside his bedroom window. He wanted an iced coffee, milk, no sugar. You're not down with that? Sweet. For many different reasons. They're talking about Britney on the news right now. Yeah, everybody's going to talk about it today. Crazy. Britney. I'm ready now. I mean, Kay Fed getting a divorce. Michael Oku, NBC News, Los Angeles. Thank you, Michael. To come on today, more of our series on infidelity. You know what I loved yesterday was you calling me in the middle of lunch to break the news to me. And you're like.
Are you watching the news right now? Have you heard? And like, for some reason, my first thought is like, oh my gosh, it's like 9-11 all over again. And you're like, Britney filed for divorce. I know, I was as big a bombshell to you as if I had said the first thing. An endless tabloid speculation. More now from NBC's Michael Oku. How could she have known? Remember that walk on the beach to... How could she have known? She was marrying Kevin Federline. That's how she could have known. Yeah, talk to Char Jackson. She'll clue you in. Yeah, Char would have let her know. Newlyweds Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. Those honeymoon smiles. Now Britney wants a divorce. This couple was fighting, getting back together. Breakups, makeups, ups and downs. It was a miracle that it lasted two years. Heading to divorce court, the newly trimmed down Britney has been staging a coming out party. Tuesday night, putting the marriage on ice in a very public skate at Rockefeller Plaza. Her and Kevin Federline were skating with one another. I don't think that's K-Fed. No, that's not K-Fed. I think that's like her manager or publicist or something I read this morning. A friend. Letterman appearance. A cameo on Letterman.
No, she wasn't wearing a ring. Oh, really? Did you notice that? Yeah, I was looking for that right now. Yeah, because her hands were like this. She didn't have a ring on. So when you decide to get the divorce, you take it off immediately. The tabloids have been predicting this for weeks. Spears was rumored to have felt neglected by Federline during her pregnancies. Last November, she reportedly kicked him out of the house. In March, they bunked in separate bedrooms. Federline, a former backup dancer, is pursuing his own career as a rap artist and spent much of married life hanging out with his buddies at nightclubs. You know, she married the wrong guy. I mean, you think, is it really? Well, just say how you feel. This just in. She married the wrong guy. She wanted a family and he wanted a party. In her filing, Spears requested custody of their two sons.
And I think what she's really saying is, I don't trust this guy raising these two kids. This morning. Why? Why wouldn't you trust Kevin to raise your kids? He tried to smoke them. Reports that Federline had actually planned on filing for divorce first, but his lawyer would neither confirm nor deny. Can you handle it? Can you handle my truth? The couple is said to have signed an ironclad prenuptial agreement, which means Federline will likely get millions. But not half of Spears' estimated $30 million fortune. The guy's going to get millions from the divorce. Hit the lottery, man. It's crazy, man. Insiders say he should invest wisely. He was so hitched to her wagon, it wasn't even funny. K-Fed is done. For today, Michael Oku, NBC News, Los Angeles. You know what's nuts? I believe that Britney will marry again and have a couple more kids. Yeah. Probably. Well, listen, she is that girl that we've all seen. It's because she has money and she's rich. You can take the girl out of the trailer, but you can't take the trailer out of the girl. You know what I mean? We're still working on getting Chris Cornell on, but in the meantime, we will play It Happened Off the Air. P1 Dirt Boy, you ready? Yeah. Are you at work right now? Yeah. Okay.
I'm going to tell you something that happened off the air. You've got to tell me who that was, okay? Who became depressed last week when they discovered mold on their sandwich off the air? I'd have to say Sean. That is incorrect. Brutal. It was Eddie. Eddie, did you investigate that? Yeah, well, I mean, it's just an oversight. Did you ask your fiancé? Was it your fiancé that made the sandwich? She made the sandwich. Oh, no. Didn't notice it. It was a small little tiny dot. You know, it would be hard to notice it, don't you think? Well, tell me. Talk me through this. It was a small piece of mold. Oh, well. No, you can tell me. The bread is old. I mean, it was pretty clear. I mean, when bread is older than a week, I always look at...
every inch of the bread before I start making a sandwich. Smell it. You've got to know if it's moldy or not. Right, Skye? Well, I mean, I notice, but sometimes there can be an oversight. I'm just saying. Hey, Eddie, do you think that we would hear about it if Skye found mold on her sandwich? Oh, she would throw it at the wall. Oh, yeah, I would throw it at the wall. That's how you are. I'm sure I would, yeah. That's me. I'm that chick. Yep. Chris Cornell. Hey. How are you? I'm great, thanks. Good to have you on. Hey, so you guys are doing like a whole bunch of time without any commercials at all about what's happening? No commercials, no music. We don't do it for 28 straight hours. It's just us on the air. And so you guys aren't sleeping or anything either? Nope. Nope. Because I just had this great idea. Go ahead. Because I've never heard of this before. I think what you're doing is really cool. But if you want to get like tons of listeners and have them all the time,
Never have any commercials ever. Yeah. And then, okay, okay, then I got the obvious thing. Okay, well, then how do you pay for the station? Sure. You do, like, a series of, not necessarily in your neighborhood, don't be stupid, but do a series of, like, bank robberies as different presidents of the United States. I know it's been done before, but so what? That's a fantastic idea. Well, every two, three months, you guys... Go out, rob a bank, and you just keep it going. That's great. You could do public radio things and ask people for money, but I think that's pitiful. I think go rob banks. That's better. There you go. Chris Cornell, everybody. We will throw that into the idea hopper and see what happens. Chris Cornell is on the line. This is an advertisement paid for by Mr. Chris Cornell. That's right. Ashley, did you give me my... Ashley, can you hear me? Yep.
Did you put my ID on here like you're where it's not where it's supposed to be? It should be. It's supposed to be in the same spot each hour next to the angry Mikey, covered up angry Mikey 2, remember? I'm sorry, Chris. See that yellow button there, Ashley? And I put it there. It says got the life. And someone went over it. Look at it. It's got the life. Figure it out, Chris. I didn't double-check it. I put it up there like an hour ago, so maybe someone went over it. It's got the life by corn, so let's go ahead and put it up, and we'll ID the radio station. We've got to ID every hour, Chris. That's okay. You've got to do what you've got to do. We've got to do what we've got to do.
