Sky just told us that she ended up putting urine on the sunburn. Oh, stop it. Stop it. What? What? That is true. What? She said she put urine on the sunburn. Why? Because I was in a lot of pain. It's not a sting, right? If something hurts, you know. You be on it. Did you have a jellyfish? What are you talking about? I'm so confused. I called the advice nurse at Kaiser. Don't you think she was playing a practical joke on you now? Now that you look back. She said it would take the sting out. And so I was willing to try anything at that point to try and make the pain stop. Who did it? What do you mean? Who did the urinating? It was my urine. I wasn't going to put somebody else in here. Yeah, that would be gross. Did it help?
No. Of course not. The nurse was playing a joke on her. Point one nurse. Face all over your face. Nurse one, sky zero. See, back in retrospect, I think it would have helped for like a normal sunburn that has the sting, but this was like pinching the nerve. I'm not kidding. It didn't help that at all. It didn't help that at all. You're phenomenal. You're phenomenal. Amazing. How did you... Try fecal matter next time. Listen, I have to phrase this in the right way. How did you gather that? How did you collect it? In a cup? Oh, my goodness. Like a McDonald's sippy cup? What? What are we talking? You went into... You were at home, I'm guessing. No, I wasn't at home. You went into the cupboard. I wasn't at home. Sky, what? What? What? Did you do it at work? What did you do? Yeah, she went to work. She had Sarah Berg pour water and her own urine on her. No. Where were you? Oh, no. Why does it matter? Why does it matter? Where were you? It does matter. Well, I was in so much pain, and my husband was at work. My mom didn't want to leave me home alone, so I went to my parents' house. You had to go to Mommy's. I went to my mom's house.
And you performed urine surgery at your mom's? Yeah, she set up the guest room bed and put me in there. And on the bed, poured urine on your back? Yeah. No. Come on, Skye. That's a lie. That can't be true. Well, on your bed? She put down, like, a whole bunch of sheets, and then on top of the sheet, she put down towels, and I was laying down on it, you know, face first. Why didn't you go to the bathtub? Face first, topless. Of course, Eddie. Why wouldn't you go to the... Like, didn't that go without saying, Eddie? That's so disgusting. How would you do that in the bathtub? Didn't it go without saying that you would do that in the bathtub? What do you mean, how do you do it in the bathtub? You would get on your hands and knees, I guess. You know, exactly how you would do it. Well, what she did is she soaked a washcloth in it and then put that on my back. Oh, my God. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my God. I was willing to try anything. I would love to talk to your mom about this. That's what the advice nurse at Kaiser said to do. And that's what she did. So you collected it in a cup. Right. Did you throw it? I mean, that cup's done. Yeah. Yeah, it was like one of those big, like.
Plastic cups you get at 7-Eleven or whatever. You know what I mean? Like the zoo or whatever. Oh my goodness. And there you are laying on the bed. I'm guessing naked, right? Oh, wow. Yeah, from the waist up. And your mom is dousing you with your own urine. Basically, yeah. Wouldn't you think that would hurt? Hot? Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't hot.
Well, it is, though. What did you do? Chill it? You put it in the freezer for a couple hours? Sky, urine is 98.6 degrees. That's very warm. When it comes out, but it doesn't stay like that forever. I don't know. What did you do? Did you wait a while and let the temperature drop? Set it up. Let it breathe a bit. I'll take some hot urine on the rocks, please. Stop it. Run it through the decanter a couple of times. I'd like a half a crap of urine, please. Can we talk about something else? One sugar cube. Please. Oh, no. Please. A breath. Awful. Wow. Imagine going through all of that and then it doesn't work. It didn't help at all. It didn't help at all. Nothing helped. Your poor mother. I soaked in a cold bath. That didn't help. Not only to have to deal with you and your antics, but now she has to go along with you. Now she's got to douse you with your own urine. Crazy stories. Well, that's what the advice nurse told her. Write a book. I'm not kidding. Write a book. You've got a life. You've got one life on you.
That is a whole chapter. What did she call, Dr. Feinstein? Yes, Dr. Feinburn. No, Kaiser has an advice line where you can talk to a nurse, and she called that, and that's what they told her. Why don't you just go to the doctor? Go to the urgent care. They did. Remember, she ended up going to the doctor. Yeah, but like before or after the urine? Yeah, before or after the urine? After. I made a doctor's appointment because I was in so much pain, I didn't want to sit in the emergency room because I'd be like... crying and wiggling around but you were willing to pour yes in the privacy of my parents home yes I was willing to do that I was willing to try anything now stop it can we please move on did you at all hey don't joke about it hey we're not allowed to joke about this kind of stuff it was what a doctor told me to do and that's what I did so please Oh, boy. Listen, this whole thing's crazy. It's just crazy. That's crazy! It's the most unbelievable story I've ever heard. Astonishing. You should be on I Shouldn't Be Alive. Eddie said... Stop! Accurate. Break it down with computer graphics, you know? Eddie says... The nurse was joking. As it turned out...
The nurse was fired two days later for playing a practical joke on patients. Welcome to I Shouldn't Be Alive. Sunburn. What happened at this point? Yeah, this should be like Keith, what's his name, should do a dateline on it. Alright, we're good. But the trouble was just beginning with the urine. Because as it turned out, urine didn't do anything for the sunburn at all. The joke was on her. My goodness gracious. That is brutal. The Mikey Show.
