During the 28-Hour Mikey Show, Mikey, Rob, Eddie, Sean and the rest of the crew watched the sinking and aftermath in Titanic while firing off sleep-deprived commentary. They attacked the movie's length and piled recurring bits onto the action, including wasted flares, a missing red cone, Free Bird requests and the claim that a boat named Sean could never tip. Their main argument was that Rose repeatedly broke her promise not to let go and unfairly left Jack freezing beside a plank that appeared large enough for both of them. They also mocked the film's escalating gunfight, slow escape attempts and mournful music, insisting that they had made the disaster more entertaining than the movie did.

What happened, in order

  1. 28-Hour Titanic Watch

Mikey framed the overnight movie riff as part of the 28-Hour Mikey Show before the exhausted crew returned to watching Titanic.

  2. The Only Flare

The hosts treated Titanic's distress flare like a fireworks show, then joked that the crew had wasted its only flare too early.

  3. Rose Always Lets Go

The crew turned Rose's promise into a running contradiction by repeatedly insisting that she always lets go and blaming the movie for dragging on.

  4. A Gunfight Too Far

When a gunfight erupted aboard the sinking ship, the hosts mocked it as the unnecessary ingredient the already overlong disaster scene had supposedly been missing.

  5. Name the Boat Sean

After watching Titanic tilt, the crew joked that naming the ship Sean would guarantee it never tipped over.

  6. Free Bird on the Titanic

The hosts heckled the doomed musicians with requests for Free Bird and jokes about their violin moves while the band kept playing.

  7. Make the Disaster Upbeat

As passengers entered the water, the crew argued that the musicians should play something upbeat and congratulated themselves for making the disaster funny.

  8. Room on the Plank

The hosts voiced Jack's resentment that Rose occupied a huge floating plank alone even though they argued there was room for him.

  9. Jack's Frozen Sarcasm

They extended the plank argument by having freezing Jack sarcastically reassure the comfortable Rose that he was fine in the four-degree water.
