Mikey, Woodsy, LLB, Rebecca and the rest of the crew spent the overnight stretch of the Mikey Thon riffing on Kevin Costner's Waterworld and arguing that its plot, economy and action scenes made no sense. The movie's Mariner eventually rescued Enola and reached dry land, while the hosts celebrated simply reaching the credits. The charity total climbed to $10,094 as the sleep-deprived crew hit the 21-hour mark and debated which movie would have been less punishing. Chad called to say their jokes gave him relief while he cared for his dying dog, and another listener called after saying goodbye to a nephew deploying the next day.
What happened, in order
Sleep-Deprived Dares
The exhausted hosts joke about needing $50,000 for an hour of sleep, getting kicked in the groin, and Danny trying not to fall asleep.
The Villain Interrogates Enola
While the Deacon demands help reading Enola's tattoo-map to dry land, the hosts mock his wildly excessive threat to eat the Mariner's brain.
The Mariner Goes Back
As the survivors refuse to rescue Enola, the Mariner says he no longer cares about finding dry land and will bring her back if she is alive.
Dirt Is Scarcer Than Whiskey
The hosts argue that Waterworld's economy makes no sense because dirt is priceless while cigarettes, whiskey, electronics, and explosives remain plentiful.
$10,094 Raised
The Mikey Thon total reaches $10,094, and the hosts credit the awful movie while encouraging listeners to bid for them to turn it off.
Dry Land at Last
The Waterworld characters finally reach a lush island, which the hosts identify as looking like Kauai while continuing to ridicule the film's logic.
The 3 A.M. Wall
Twenty-one hours into the marathon, Mikey and the crew describe feeling terrible, cold, and exhausted, while Rebecca sleeps curled into a tiny ball.
Chad's Long Night
Chad from Bay Park calls while caring for his dying 14-year-old dog and thanks the show for giving him some levity.
A Nephew Deploys
Another caller phones on the drive home to Fallbrook after spending the evening with a nephew who is being deployed the next day.

You went from slapping her around, piggyback riding. Oh, slow-mo. Yeah, who opens her mouth underwater? Yeah, that's the first lesson of swimming. Keep your mouth closed. She's going to take her way down and just laugh. Yeah. Two hours to go in this movie. How much time, really? Good selection. Didn't we vote on this? Yes. Watch your hand, creep. I'm sure this little girl thought this was the launch of her major career. Oh, yeah. Then she ended up in Napoleon Dynamite. Yeah, for that $7. And that's pretty much ended it. Oh, she is. That little girl? She is with Jean Triple Horn? Look at that. Look at that. Did you say look at that? Hmm. Wouldn't you think he'd get tired of swimming? Yeah, after a while. What choice does he have? It's not like he can go for a run. Yeah. Why are they having so much fun if he hated her? The world is going on here.
What's he need resin for? What's resin? Get stone? His pipe's clogged. Use a papercliff. He could, I guess. He needs a resonator. Uh-oh. What'd he say? Smokers. This is the dumbest movie. I'd rather watch Dirty Dancing. I'm on board with that. Marionettes made out of real people. That is so creepy. What's the bed? They want her for the tattoo on her back, right? It's a map to dry land. It's a Chinese symbol. That's his bone. Man, he needs it bad. You don't do Dizzy Lizzy's. Dizzy Lizzy's. Dizzy. Uh-oh. In a world of hurt, we have an upside-down periscope in the water.
Always. What the? What were they anchored off to? I don't know. They were holding their breath for a long time, though. I think they had little rubber hoses, didn't they? Pretty sure you couldn't tie off to the bottom of the ocean. This is torture. You'll be safe behind this netting. I stand by that much. That boat over. Close one. Glad I had that extra sail. You've got to do it yourself. Easy eye patch. I wing you. I say we load all the go-juice onto one. Oh, my gosh. You can't catch him in ten boats and you want to send just one? Well, I pray that you're joking. Bring me the trackers. Someone became a woman. He's hurt. Tell what you think. You weren't after her. I saw what I saw. What? No more life. Uh-oh. Oh, boy.
Oh, Violent got his back. Man. Anger management classes. Look at that look on her face. She's getting less appealing to me. He's chinless. Just a fool to believe I have anything she needs. She's like going. And I've never seen it. But the things on your boat. Things on my boat. What? Sir. There are things on your boat that nobody has ever seen. What are these shells? Okay, the things on your boat, sir. Man. Delirious. Things are only sometimes just funny to you and not funny to anybody else. LLB, ever stay still for any length of time? I would. If I had $50,000, I would donate it. Yeah.
for an hour of sleep. I'm not kidding. I'll take you to dry land. Okay, fine. Adios. You're going to have to kick me in the nuts. Good luck. We ran her off with Ed. My Veronica. Drive careful. Somebody's going to have to kick me in the boys. You know what? We should do the balls to the balls. 100. Get in the water. We'll do it in a minute. Or an hour. Whatever comes first. Maybe we cut a Mikey. Maybe we cut this Mikey. Oh, Danny. Easy, Danny. Like a cat. Danny, don't fall asleep. Danny, don't be a hero. It is Billy, don't be a hero. It didn't fit the story. I know. Hey, LLB? LLB. Will you grab me a Tums? Oh, perfect. Sure. Do I have any meth? Thank you, brother. Looks like Spinal Tap.
Seems like a bad plan. No, don't. This movie's lost, man. San Diego. Founded by the Germans. Yeah. 1892. Means a well's vagina. That's right. I don't think it means that. Does stuff just not go the way you ever planned it? Yeah. It's totally believable. Totally. And I think you're proving your point now at this point. Hey, look, it's Garrett. Wow. Philly. There goes Garrett. Yeah, there's snacks in there. Yeah. Yeah. Dirt. Oh, there's his source. His supplier. Bet you wish you could have some. That's how he does it. Why is he only bringing up a jar at a time? Good point. Maybe stack up. Maybe fill that giant receptacle with dirt. Yeah. Instead of taking tourists down there. Uh-oh. Focus. Is that a ski lift? Sure is. Big bear. Careful. You don't ruin the movie for us.
This is an epic scene right here. Still got the pants on. I didn't know. How could you? All this time, I didn't know. Of course not. Nobody does. You're a woman? Uh-oh. Now they know. Can you get us out of here? I'd say there are two chances of that. No way and no how. Should have bought me that drink. Still bitter about that drink? Wow. Easy, cowardly lion. Very tall to grudge and look like a lion. Yeah. Who does your hair? I'm the deacon. Oh. If you don't recall the face, perhaps it's because I didn't always look like this. Oh, wow. That's going to get infected. Now, I suspect she's somewhere real close. So we could tear this boat apart looking for her, but I'd rather somebody just tell me where she is. The first one that does that lives. And the runner-up?
Well, actually, there are no runners out. Oh, sweet Joe, I love this part. Choose someone to live or die. You know, personally, I'd rather shoot the sperm of the devil here. The what? The what? The sperm of the devil? Oh, what? That's not what I thought. Too bad. Is there something on my face? Huh? What do you say? It's not your kind. You don't even have the kind. It's creepy. He's creepy. He'll still kill us both. Uh-oh. Why does she just keep getting beat up? Let's not get ahead of ourselves. If you don't tell me, I swear to Poseidon I will torture her. Poseidon. Wow. Nice reference. I swear to Poseidon. Lying in the Tin Man real good. They won't tell us where she is.
Oh, rookie mistake. Oh. Old pirate script. I'll breathe for you. I call it. You certainly turned a corner in that relationship. Come here. Come here. Kiss me. Feast. Would she make it 10 seconds? I remember my first French kiss. I remember my first gill kiss. Ooh. Touch the flap. Yeah, I'm kind of glad the little girl's gone. She's kind of annoying.
They're busy making out, kids getting kidnapped. I don't think so. I think this may go on for another. You ever just put boring movies at the time where everyone gets sleepy? Yeah, it's not. What happened? Cue the happy music. Cue the end. Oh, look, these are crayons. She was here. What is this? Get those chains off her. What are we, barbarians here? Nope. Totally normal. Come on out of here, you big nasty animal, you. What is he wearing? Is it the eyepatch or the jacket? The jacket. He just robbed Rick James' closet? I'm Rick James, bitch. I didn't put my feet on that man's couch.
You helped me with just one problem. All right? Now, that tattoo on your back, I've been told that that's actually a map. It's the way to dry land. Now we're getting someplace. Could you teach me how to read that setback? Well, have you ever heard any of your friends talk about it? You know, like your mommy or... Your pet fish. Can you say anything? Shouldn't make fun of him. He wouldn't like it. It's not very nice. I don't give a shit what he... Whoa, hey. Trash dog. If I ever see him again, I'm gonna cut open his head and I'm gonna eat his brain. You think you'd like that? That was an overreaction. Yeah. Whoa. He's not here. And he ain't coming. Here's Johnny. No doubt.
He'll come for me. He will. Well, then you better tell me what I want to know. Or he can save what's left of you in a goddamn jar. Oh, easy. Get some. Get some. Yeah, if you get the chance. He should get some. So are we going to make love? Yeah. And never worry about the lost kid or... Hanging out? Yeah. Nighty night. Are you hot? No? No, I'm perfect. Aren't we? Great. Hanging right in. Great. What is it he's got on his earrings? Do not come snuggling up to me. Yeah, I remember. I'm never like that. I like boys. You smelled of tuna? No, not really. Oh my. Oh my. Because she's in the water. Yeah, it's because she's in the water swimming with a fish. I just woke up. I'm sure Mikey did too.
Oh, that's right. It's probably on in there. This interview just came to a crashing, screeching halt. Oh, wow. Yeah, don't worry about the kid. Yeah. Let's do this. Get your groove on. Yeah. Do whatever you got to do. She's like, it's not my kid. I'm here to clean your pool, ma'am. But I don't have a pool. See, you ever slay a fish? You have a one-night stand with Flipper? He's like, hang on. I got to go scavenge below for some dirt. Oh, wait. I've got a drawing of a horse. There's a horse in a tree. I guess that water doesn't disintegrate in paper. No. Or what? Other way around. Wait. It looks like here she drew a bunghole. Oh. Look at it. Maybe we say some real creepy stuff. Yeah, I'm trying. I'm trying. Oh. Try to get some good boob shots in National Geographic.
I did when I was a kid. Oh, yeah. Sweet Christmas present by my grandmother one year. A subscription to National Geographic. Thanks. They were always kind of saggy. That's the last thing I wanted. Well, that's why I started there and went to the Sears catalog. And then moved on progressively. Yeah, anything else I could find. You guys just having a personal conversation? Yeah. Look at that. I was dreaming. You never come cuddle afterwards. Yeah. You're so cold and distant. You just hit it and quit it. Toot it and boot it. It drifts with the wind. That's why it was so hard to find. Why did you believe in it so much? I found a giant thing of condoms. My Irish accent fades in and out much like Woods when he does accents. Why did I find another girl's thong made of steel on the boat? Gross. Gross.
Guerreras. Oh, look. He's going to be just flying around. What are the odds? Perfect timing. Look. Whole wide world opened up. Yep. This guy comes. Oh, the smoke. I love people. Who's that issue? You're too sapient. I threw the road there. You catch it? I love you. Climb up. There's a nola. Smoke is took her. Yeah. My friend. Thank you. Very human of you. I can't decide what accent I have. I'm kind of doing the Middle Eastern thing right now. You see, right down there, there's several of us survivors who to start over again. You can't ask us to go get her. We're in all this trouble. Forget it. We're not going. They don't have any reason to kill her. They need to find dry land just like we do. Of course. If a Mariner's willing to go after her, then why not ask her to go?
We don't want you here. I sat. I was so asleep. Ah, yeah, yeah. The papers the Mariner brought you. It's the same language the tattoo is written in. They're numerous. Gregor, you're as crazy as she is. We can't stay here. We're wasting valuable time. More smokers will come. We need to be moving now. My friends, don't you see we need this child if we want to find dry land? I'm not going. Nobody is. We've already seen their smoke on the horizon. Wow. I heard this movie was bad, but I couldn't have imagined. Chances I learn how to sleep with my eyes open by next year's 28-hour show. That is a great idea. Hello, Mike. Oh, hello, Mike. Hello, Mike. There's land. It's right under our keel. None of it's dry anymore. Something is. I know there's been there. I know that now. I saw what she drew. So that's why he's going out there. I don't care about dry land. This is ridiculous. Anyone from Ohio? You guys from out of town? If she's alive, I'll bring her back to you. If she's dead, I'll leave her.
I can't stand it. We got to go help him. I can't ask him to do this alone. Uh-oh. Mikey's going to sit on me. Oh, my gosh. Uh-oh. He's just looking at her tattoo. Of course she's flat. She's only like seven. Do an interview for TV here, so don't even worry about it. Don't even worry about it. Don't even worry about it. Don't even worry about it. I don't know. The interview. Mikey, look. I meant don't be freaked out because there's a light on. You're probably going, what's going on here? Your hands are freezing. Why are they in my pants? Rock climbing expert. I'm melting. Actually, wait. I get it now. There he is. Plumber's crack. Quit touching me, Woods. I'm pretending you're Jamie.
Children of the provider. Citizens of the good ship. Ladies now, hear me speak. I've had a vision. What about the land you promised us? I saw the land. Get in trouble. Freak coming to rescue you. He's not a freak and he can take you any time. Killed dozens of people. He doesn't have any mercy or anything. Kills little girls. I do like this. Shit. Horse. You're welcome. Hey. Oh, I'm a little Jack Daniels. Do you ever just hate the movie that you watch? Does he have a chin strap from a football helmet on his eye? Wow. Would you, would you, what wouldn't you do to turn this movie off? Not much. There's pretty much a lot that you can challenge me to do.
That I would do in order to turn this movie off. Yeah, 100%. Get a list of dares, truth, inappropriate things, I'll do whatever. So death can't find him. Kissing booth. Have a home where people to care for. Eyes weigh a thousand pounds. He's fast and strong with a big wind. He can hear a hundred miles and see a hundred miles underwater. He can hide in the shadow of a noon sun. He could be right behind you and you won't even know it until you're dead. Oh, boy. See ya, bro. He is the most interesting man in the world. Careful. I just need a pillow, though. Remember you said that? Move your legs. He's got one behind you. Wow. Those are some ugly people. Speaking of ugly people, you should have seen me on TV. Oh, boy. Why don't you shed your goatee now?
Oh, yeah. He played it back, and I thought I was looking at an interview with a walrus. Cuckoo, cachoo. If a walrus were not that cute. I am the Eggman. I am so lucky to have a wife. You should cherish her. I do. Here's the movie you watch. Yeah. Here's to watch a movie and wonder why they made it. You ever wonder why when you had all the selections and she's from... You chose Waterworld? Yeah. Yeah. Unanimous decision. Don't worry. I'm going to help you right now. I'm going to get into this big time. Here we go. Oh, wow. Why has he got Jack Daniels? He was thirsty. Because why not? She's like, look, it was one night in Vegas. I had too much to drink. Let it go. Really? With a muddy microphone? So there was no pastels available when the world...
Is that covered in water? Just a lot of drab. Just everything was drab? Drab. So here we are. The world has been covered completely in water. We don't even have one guy that's there that's good at interior design. More than likely. More than likely. More than likely. Not one guy. It's like fashion police. Call over. They do have the fireman's call, though. We can do this or... Get it? We can do that. Or... Is this my car? Is this my car? What's that? Is this my car? I believe it's on. I believe it. Worst job in the world. Right there. I don't know. Putting tar on roots is bad in humor. Yeah. That looks realistic. Wow. Oh, boy. They would just treat kids real bad in a movie. So let me get this straight.
Dirt is really at a very high demand, but Marlboros are apparently very easy to come by. Yeah, and whiskey, apparently. Make sense? Black label whiskey. Dirt, non-existence, 7-Elevens, tons of them, I guess. Who is that? Is that the dude from Dances with Wolves? What is he doing here? Is that a boy or a... It's Peter Pan. It's a very handsome little boy. Clap your hands if you believe. Is that Goose? You want scuba diving? Skiing later? I'm the postman. It's the man from Tin Cup. I'm just playing through. That was fun for audiences to watch, huh? Just beating up a girl that looks like Peter Pan now? Yeah. Can't imagine why audiences didn't accept it, you know?
Hey, she's a little young for you, buddy. Did you say me? I thought you were stupid, friend. Are you talking to me? Nope. Well, you know, if there wasn't enough reasons to be offended by slapping a seven-year-old. How many days into filming do you think that Kevin Costner went, we're screwed. It's a lightsaber. Yeah. I drop it. The whole toilet blows up. We all burn. Let's not do anything rash here. I mean, are you sure she's worth all this? They can't have dirt, but they've got a PA system. Right. Yeah. They don't have dirt, but they have lip gloss for that little girl. And massive amounts of explosives. And blue colored contacts.
Or every single tear rolls down my cheek. I mean, you're going to die for your friend. If it comes to that. It's not ironic that he's one of his fishing roars, his earrings. Bluffing, he never bluffs. Shut up. You don't know what a bluff is. It's a hell of a poker player. I don't think you're going to drop that torch, my friend. Why not? Because you're not crazy. Aren't I? That's a bad idea. Yep. That guy's bummed. That guy's like, what did I do? He's stoked. That's going to leave a mark. That looked real. Look at that. That's real. Oh, that's very real. My career. Oops. Didn't see that there. That's good acting. What about your career's not enough? Look at that fire. Brilliant CGI. What's that? Collective.
Collective gardening agreement. Collective gardening agreement. It's something that my kind have with the white man. Has anyone figured out the plot yet? No, no idea. What I'm thinking is these Indians were out on the range, and he was put at an outpost, and apparently he made friends with a wolf. Right, a wolf? A wolf. Yep. And that's as far as I've gotten so far. And then I think he ended up in a cornfield somewhere. Just to see that Greg Brady's beads are still there. Yep. In the attic. Hey. Cowardly lion. She stayed in the water. Oh, somebody. This is lion rare. Oh, wow. Hey, you know how to fly an airplane. Lucky I do, huh? Hey, you stop it. You behave yourself now. Hey.
She gets slapped around the whole movie and just gets pointed at for that movie? Yeah. You stop that right now. I mean, where's he going to go if he flies off the barge, you know? Well, he has a better opportunity flying off the barge than flying off that barge. I hate catchy commuter flights. Was it worth it, Kevin? Legs broken. Oh, wow. I'm going to hook up an airplane by its toe. Put the kid in it. Put the kid in it. I wonder if the kid will survive and the bad guy will die. You came back for me. That is a worse wig. Bring us right down on top of it. No, Chris, I won't date you. Chris just handed a note to Jay. Thanks for the offer, though. Just check the box that says maybe. Maybe. Maybe. I guess we're going to go steady.
We have an update for you. With donations and auctions, we're up to $10,094. Wow. That's amazing. Very nice. And it's all because of this awful movie. That's right. People are now bidding for the movie to stop. Yeah. Oh, man. Let's see what the highest bid we can get to make this movie stop and have us go do something hilarious. I was streaking around the building. Almost. Oh, wow. Okay, we're all in. Ah, look, an ankle. Oh, that's a very realistic sound effect. It's like a giant hemorrhoid they're flying from. What really else can you say? You know, do you think that the people at Universal were watching the dailies and going, I think we got one here. Yep. I think what we have in the can is pure gold. It's gold. It's like when we come up with a good bit, you know? Yeah.
So excited to tell each other about it. Yeah. It's kind of like if we came up with an idea like, let's do the Amazing Race Mikey Show. I was thinking more like a parade, like the Mikey Show parade. It was like, it's kind of the same feeling. Or maybe the jingle bell. Yeah, trying to set like a lofty world record goal. Yeah. It's like when you go, hey, let's set a world record for people honking to jingle bells. Or have your famous friend call in. Or... Have your famous friend call in. Yeah. We had one person call in, though. We had a person that was once on dance. Did you fart? I could. Did you fart? No, I could, though. I could, too. Is he? Garlic. Parmesan. Well, now he's a druggie. Tie this off. It does smell like... I farted so loud. It was brilliant. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. I can see why they spent so much money on their salmon.
Look at that. He didn't even have to calculate how much rope he had. He just said, hey, this is the perfect amount. It's almost as if the director went, no, it's not stupid enough. Let's cut it again. Yep. I don't think we get that, fellas. Let's do another take. No, no, no. That looks too good. If it looks realistic, let's mess with it. Oh, my gosh. There's the man. Kevin, what did I say, dude? I said bad. You did good. I want bad. Let's give this six-year-old girl a tramp stamp. I like the way they always just manage to get a boob shot in no matter what. Gratuitous. There it is. Look at it. Cleave cam. And cut to the cleave cam once again. Off into the sunset. Wow. It's like the Wizard of Oz. That's very realistic. Yeah. It's like a cloud basket. What did you call that? Yeah. Yeah, you just... It's a white turd. Yeah.
Yeah, you make a hot air balloon that looks like a small colon. Say modest. Uh-oh. I need to wash my hands. They are so filthy. Not much water left. Anybody thirsty? Anybody thirsty? You just put some on your lip gloss here. And how about you over there? You got stung by some bees, it looks like. Just doing a Mac ad? Anybody have an EpiPen? Where are we, New Zealand or Tucson? I can't remember. Still no plot. Who is that? Oh, it's the audience. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. You guys are still here. Wait a minute. There can't be a seagull unless we're near land, and this movie's called Waterworld. Yep. Why is that seagull mooning me? Whoa. Hold on a second. Hang on. Hang on, Gene. Stop the phone.
Oh, my gosh. Land ho. He's saying it to the girl. Land ho. Raj, is it really Maui? Yeah, it's like they land. That looks like Kauai. That looks like Kauai. Kauai. Look. Kauai. Oh, my gosh. Salt water tastes so good. Oh, it tastes so good. No, it doesn't. No, it doesn't. It was fresh till you got in it, old man. Now we're all down below you trying to drink water. Yeah. It's fresh except for that guy that. It's like dirt up on the top of it. You get an old man all in the water. Come on. It's a wee bit of Irish Spray. It's a wee bit of Irish Spray. Tortilla warmer, Mikey. Oh, it's a mummification center. Of course. They were boning. I think they saw Waterworld. They must have known they will have died. Wow. This movie's so bad, I'm freaking nuts.
You ever just wear a weird hat? Yeah, where'd she get the hat? You ever just make hats? Yeah, I mean. Put some netting on your head? Did you walk through a spider web? Yeah. You ever just try to invent Amish even though it's been invented already? Are you? Are you? I wish you were at the credits. Yeah. Rest in peace, Waterworld. Those are her parents, maybe? Yep. What's with the tribal letters? They were tattooists. Did she ever star in another movie after this? I don't think so. I just see her in big love. We've got everything here. He just starts feasting on dirt. There's as much as I can eat. She's got a little schtuckus in the corner of her lip. Yeah, she does. You say you got a little, you want to just, there's a little, never mind. She's got a third lip there. Wrap this up. We get it. There's animals and dirt.
She's got sunscreen all over her lips. You just built that? Like, hey, I'm just going to put this thing together, and yep, good to go. And they called it Lucadia. You ever just feel sorry for yourself? Yeah. Yes, right now. You ever just use a log as a toilet? I know there's a private moment. I should probably leave you alone while you're doing this, but bottom line is it's dinner time, and you've been sitting here all day. Plus, that hat looks stupid, I have to tell you. Relax or you're going to blow out your O-ring. Oh, boy. And I'm going to take that jewelry box and I'm going to trade it for hair. No, I didn't. I'm looking for a bonnet. I want to get another shell earring to match this one. You ever just make a bonnet out of bee wax? Honeycomb? Spiderwabs. You ever have a honeycomb hat? You ever have a seashell earring? Dryer lint? It's too strange here. It doesn't move right. Land sickness.
More than that. Al from Alabama. Why am I getting such a strong accent? Well, I can't tell which ones I'm doing, Jasper. Jasper? Why are you all made up like a little girl? I don't want this. Oh, why on the lips? It's like when your kid draws something for you. What am I supposed to do? I want to run over me like a freak. One more time. You can keep running. Go ahead. Where am I going? Should I just run out of scene? Yeah, there's no Wendy's or anything like that, kid. They don't have a play pass there. Yeah. You got a season pass to Legoland? Where are you going? You. Me. The woods. Five minutes. Why the long face? Maybe next time don't wear a bra. Where'd you get the jean jacket? Well, her name's Jean, so... Where'd you get the Kevin jacket? I know I slapped you around a few times to make out. But it's all good. I love kids now.
Yep. So how does a three-year-old never brush teeth taste? Dirt mouth. A dirt mouth. I gotta get these pants back to poison by five. This shirt with the painted abs. Yeah. It's the first ever Under Armour. Did those limes work out? So it started this whole thing? Movies ever end or did they just go on forever? Just play orchestra music and just fade out for five minutes? That's how we feel. Couldn't he just wave goodbye from shore? Curse you, Kevin Reynolds. Kevin Reynolds. How dare you. Yeah, how dare you, Kevin Reynolds. I've never been so excited to see Kevin Reynolds' name. You should have just said written by two four-year-olds. Written by, does it even matter? Yeah. Oh, I'm blacking out. Welcome to my world. Oh, yep. Fresh seven hours to go. I'll be the judge of that. Yep, you do. You feel pretty good. The king of water world.
We're back in the studio now. We were out in the outer part of our studio. Boss? Yeah? Can I finish this now? Oh, yeah, you should now. That's what you should have started it now. Just started it now, buddy. Oh, my God. Now's the time to start with the energy. You know, it's 3 a.m. 21 hours. Is there coffee made? Yeah, we're 21 hours in. How do you feel? Yeah, dude. This is the worst time. I feel like butt. Remember I said the hardest time is between one and four. One and six. I got my second win. I do not. Now that that movie's over, I feel lively again. Yeah. It was the worst. Yeah. I have the chills. It's cold in here. Next year. Rebecca gets into a tiny little ball. Yeah, she does. Listen, you could have a marching band in here right now. Wouldn't wake her up. She just sleeps. She just gets into like a tiny little ball. Oh, there she goes. She's waving. She's waving.
She's awake. You miss Waterworld, Rebecca. Oh, so good. It's okay, babe. When we get home, I'll just watch it again. Yeah. All right, let's do this. KBCT San Diego. You're listening to the Mikey Thon for Rady Children's Hospital on FM 94.9. That's right. It takes place between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. That's right, it does. 3 a.m. Oh, yeah. It's 3 a.m. I must be lonely. Yeah. 3 a.m. Well, we only have seven hours left. We are way past the midway point. Yep. Homestretch. And, yeah. You know, the cool time for me is when we get to 6 a.m. because, you know, you're starting the show again. Yeah. And then you just have a show to do. We got listeners coming in like normal on a Friday, you know. Oh, really? Yeah. I didn't know. Yeah. Woodsy is going through what I, man, that looks familiar.
Woodsy's got his head down on the table. L.O.B.'s just snacking on a burrito real good. Wow. We got to start this up. Call screens. Got to get started up. And call us. 570-1949. We would love to talk to you. Love to hear from you. Did you stay through Waterworld with us? Quite possibly one of the worst choices we could have possibly made. 100%. Yeah. You know, I think we hit a home run every time if we do the 80s dramas. Yep. 80s dramas are great. Dirty Dancing was huge. Yeah. Pretty in Pink would be rad. Now, everyone on the show except me had seen Waterworld before. So what compelled any of you to think that that would be a good choice? Because it was so bad. Yeah. You know? I don't know why I thought I liked it. I don't like it. I hate it. I don't like it. Awful. I thought I liked it too. I hate its guts. What about Pretty in Pink?
Have you seen that, Mike? I have. I know I've seen parts of it. We can riff on that. Isn't it a comedy? No. No. It's not? It's a Molly Ringwald bit. It's not a comedy, though? No. It's not funny? No. I mean, it's funny moments. Right. With Ducky and whatnot. Yeah. Isn't that... What's happening? Hot stuff. No, that's 16 Candles. That's brilliant. Does anybody else notice that Rebecca is out? No, she just waved at us. Oh, did she? She looks like a little kid over there. I know. This is why I could never be Mikey. Because I would go, all right, we're going to all go take it three hours. Yeah. Well, you know. It's tough, dude. It is. It's a lot tougher than I thought. A lot. Now, will you, even though it didn't do anything to you, would you try? Next year to do the thing that I said. No. Let's do what I want. Okay. Makes good sense. You'd like to be told what to do. I'd like to be told what to do. Yeah. Makes good sense. What is that? Some spray. Spritz. Spritz. I've been eating for 21 hours. Straight. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm going to take some. Mikey Show. Hello. Good morning. Good morning. How are you doing? I'm good. Who's this? This is Chad in Bay Park.
Sad in Bay Park. Why are you sad? Well, I've been up since yesterday morning with my dog that I've had for 14 years who is dying. He's got a heart condition. He's got a tumor on his liver. He actually liked the dirty dancing. Yeah? Well, that cheered him up a little bit? Well, he wasn't doing so bad then. That water world is really tough. Wow. Yeah. Super duper tough. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But you guys are really funny, and I thank you for giving me some levity. You bet. Thank you for calling. We appreciate the phone call. Oh, boy. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, guys. Hi, who's this? This is M1 Durple. M1 Durple? Durple. How you doing? Durple, Durple. I'm doing good. It's awesome to talk to you guys. I'm headed home to Fallbrook, and it's awesome to turn on my radio and hear you guys. That's great. Were you out tonight? Yeah, what were you doing? Yeah, my nephew's getting deployed tomorrow, so I went to meet up with him in San Diego, and we just hung out for a little while, and now I'm headed home. You sound way young to have a nephew being deployed. Yes.
