It is 6 o'clock. Partly cloudy today. High temperatures from the low to mid-60s. Lakeside's 47. Right now in OB, it's 48 degrees. First day of the Buick kicked off yesterday. Tiger not so good shooting one under. That not on television? It was on the USA Network. Because it will be on TV. I was looking for it yesterday, and I couldn't find it. But I was checking the networks. I thought it might be on. Yeah, it's, you know, on Thursday, Friday. They'll be on USA Network. Welcome to the show. As a part of my diet, I do not drink mochas anymore. I'm now drinking coffee. And I'm even trying to change the way I'm drinking the coffee. So I went from drinking mochas that were, you know, whole milk to drinking low-fat mochas. I made yet another change to non-fat mochas. And then when we started the Biggest Loser contest...
I made a switch to drinking decaf coffee with half and half. Have then made a switch in that short period of time, made a switch to decaf coffee with nonfat milk. I am now going to next week switch to just black coffee. Oh. Whoa. Which I can't imagine what they'll be like. There you go. No sugar? I put one packet of Splenda. Big, tall, venti. That's not bad. Deal. Splenda's better than sugar. Oh, you are right on that. That's what my trainer said as well. But the problem with the Splenda, Ashley, is that Splenda is made from sugar. That's the problem with it. Yeah, and I think that's the thing, is if you're not into the Nutri-Sweet extra or whatever, sweet and low, that Splenda is better than sugar itself. Good for you. I cheated on my diet last night. No! What did you do? I had an enchilada.
Oh. We all have our days. I haven't been to El Torito in probably like six, seven years. Hadn't been to an El Torito, and they're not too bad. It's all right. It's all right. I'm Mikey. I'm 35. I'm the host of the show. Eddie is our producer and sports guy. He's 32. This guy's 28. He does news for us. Shawnee, oh boy. Sean is my age. He is 35. He's Boston Rob. He's 23. He's our stunt boy, 22, and she is our assistant producer. So welcome to the show. Our phone number here is 570-1053. So you can call about whatever you want to at the beginning and end of every show. One thing that I wanted to talk about was what happened yesterday on Oprah. Not because Oprah is a girly show or anything like that, it's just this topic has been big. James Fry wrote a book called A Million Little Pieces, which I actually got it for Ashley. Ashley, did you see Oprah yesterday?
I saw half of it, the last half of it. You saw the last half? Yeah. Well, the deal is, is that Oprah did a live broadcast yesterday because James Fry, who wrote this memoir called A Million Little Pieces, it was discovered by the Smoking Gun website that many of the things that he said in the book were inaccurate. And a memoir is a memory of somebody's life, a portion of their life. It came out that some of the things that he said were not accurate. For instance, that he had been in jail a much, in the book he says for a much longer period of time than actually took place. That's cut 14. How long were you in jail? For a few hours, not time. Not 87 days? Correct. For those of you that don't know, for those of you that don't know, when this news came out, obviously pretty embarrassing for the guy, he lied. And he's on Larry King Live.
And Oprah, now this is a few weeks ago when the news first broke that he lied in his memoir. Why Oprah? Why is Oprah involved? She loved his book and made it one of her big book club, Oprah's book club deals. And it sold millions and millions of copies after she announced it to be one of the greatest things ever. Yeah, she actually said that it was one of the best books she had ever read. Well, if you get onto that Oprah book club, man, you are in like Flint. Oh, yeah. Back up the Brinks truck and load it up with the dough because you've just become a millionaire from, you know, her loving your book. That's the kind of influence she has on literature in this country. People really think that when she says a book's great, that it really is, and they go out and they buy it. Sean, did your wife Tevo this? Did you see this at all? No, I didn't get to see it. Well, anyway, when the news broke, James Fry is on Larry King Live defending himself, and Oprah calls in.
to defend him. Cut 17. Everyone's been asking me to release a statement and I first wanted to hear what James had to say. I've acknowledged that there were embellishments in the book, you know, that I've changed things. Alright, well, what she ultimately says when she calls into Larry King Live is that the, and I'm paraphrasing here, but overall tone of the book of overcoming your demons, and overcoming addiction still resonates with her and people that read the book. Well, when he comes on the show yesterday, and it's being broadcast live, and a lot of people are wondering, why did they do it live? I can't tell you definitively. The only reason I think that they did it live is to let the audience know that there will not be any editing of what she asks, how she asks, blah, blah, blah. When he comes on the show yesterday, she does a 180.
And she apologizes to people forever on the Larry King show in the first place. And she says that she gave the impression that the truth doesn't matter and that she definitely doesn't feel that way and the truth does matter and, you know, then brings James Fry out and fries him. It was an ambush. There was no way in the world that James Fry knew that what was going to happen was that he was going to come out and she was going to let him have it. I have to tell you what I thought of it. She looked like an a-hole. She looked like an a-hole for having him on for an hour. And I thought to myself, you know, he didn't molest children, Oprah. He didn't kill anybody. I mean, and there's no doubt about it. The guy wrote a memoir and a lot of the stuff he said in it was crap.
But it was as if he and her were dating or married and he had cheated on her. That was what these lies meant to her. And as I continued to watch the show, I started to realize this was not a campaign on Oprah's part about truth in literature. It was not Oprah being upset because he had lied to her. It was Oprah being upset because she was embarrassed by it. It was all about Oprah. And they put together a montage that they ran throughout the show returning from commercial breaks of various columnists from big name publication magazines and newspapers in the country commenting on the effect it had on Oprah. One woman said, and I found it very interesting because when they interview these people from these news organizations for a clip to play, they get to pick and choose what they want to air of what they said. And one woman says, I think that this guy should be kicked out of the kingdom of Oprah. And they come back and Oprah is like, thank you. We are now joining James Fry again. And I went, what just happened?
Like, I mean, Oprah, there really is not a kingdom of Oprah. You are not going to throw James Fry back into the fiery chasm from whence he came. And I mean, this guy, I'm telling you, I think it was a pretty turdy thing to do to lie in the memoir. But I'm sitting there going, you poor son of a bitch. Like, I mean, he looked like he wanted to cry and I don't blame him. He didn't know that that's what was going to happen, and it was rough. It was rough, man, to the point where I thought, who is watching this going, get him, Oprah. You let him have it, that lying effer. Like, it was a freaking book, Oprah. My wife read it. She goes, yeah, when I found out, I was like, oh, that sucks. Didn't change my life. She says, my wife goes, as a matter of fact,
I still recommend it to people. It's a good book. So it turns out some of the stuff in there about his life wasn't true. It's still a good read. She said, I'd love to ask Oprah. So you're not going to recommend it to people anymore? Why? It's a good book. And I'm playing Oprah. I start playing Oprah with my wife and I go, of course I'm not going to tell people that they should read it. It's a lie. And she goes, so that means you didn't like it? I liked it, but now I'm upset because it was a lie. It wasn't a memoir. Okay, so then what was it? Well, I suppose it was fiction. Okay, so it was fiction. You didn't like it? Have you never recommended a fiction book before? Right, right. Maybe it was fiction, but I bought a bad bill of goods. That's not what I was told that it was. Okay, now you know. What now? kingdom of oprah what now and i'm telling you man let me let me play a clip from this yesterday of one of the things that when she when he says no that wasn't exactly how it went down there is a gasp from the audience that you'll hear and oprah in almost a broken voice goes okay it was about james fry's girlfriend lily who committed suicide in the book this is oprah and
James Fry discussing that very matter cut for. Let's get back to Lily. Was your description of how she died true? She committed suicide, yes. She hung herself? I mean, that was one of the details I altered about her. Okay, and why? Because all the way through the book, I altered details about every single one of the characters to render them... Unidentifiable. So how did she die? Cut her wrists. And so cutting, hanging is more dramatic than cutting your wrists? Is that why you chose hanging? Yes. I don't think either are more dramatic than either. Yeah, but I'm just wondering, why do you have to lie about that? Because one of the things I, and I may be wrong in doing this, every one of the characters was altered. Slit her wrists. She didn't hang herself.
Oprah is looking at him like... Why does that matter? Yeah. And, by the way, my wife said he answered her question. Yeah, exactly. He answered the question. He said, I did it because I wanted to render the characters unrecognizable. Right, which is, in my estimation, a pretty decent thing to do. She has him so freaked out with the whole... First of all, I didn't expect this. Second of all, this is live television. And then she starts bringing in experts while he's sitting there. Oh, jeez. And so he's sitting on the couch. She's got experts lined up. She's got columnists lined up. And she will talk to them and then say, what do you have to say to James? And the people are kind of like, they talk around that. They don't, because they don't really, I don't have anything to say to James. I guess you'd, you're clearly.
pissed, Oprah. An hour of this. And no one messes with the queen of the kingdom of Oprah. Yes. I mean, you want to talk about a God complex. It's the same thing that we were talking about when the whole Hurricane Katrina thing happened, where Oprah shows up and the gates of heaven open up and you're like, Oprah's here, everyone. She's here to save us all. What? And the same thing when, you know, she wasn't let into a store after they had closed for a private party. It was like Oprah was wronged. It was racially motivated. No, they treated you like every other human being. And do you remember that she had to have the president and COO of that department store come to her and apologize on national television? And her propping yesterday was that I am. This is Oprah speaking. I am big enough to admit when I was wrong, and it was wrong of me to go on Larry King and defend him. What that does, though, is it's like, wow, Oprah, so this is an hour of releasing you from, you didn't do anything wrong in the first place, Oprah. You read a book, you thought it was good, you talked about it. Turns out a lot of the book's a sham. So what does that make you, an a-hole? Like, my wife bought the book for her best friend, I bought the book for Ashley.
Is Ashley now going to come to me and say, man, dude, you don't have any credibility with me anymore. You recommended that book, and it turns out that the guy wasn't telling the truth about some stuff. Thanks a lot, and here's your book back, liar face. That's the way she's treating this. Now, Ashley, I'm fascinated to know what you thought because you love Oprah. Yeah, and I agree with you. I feel like... From what I saw, I saw half of the episode, and from what I saw, she was pretty much covering her ass. And I thought it was very interesting how she really clarified that people, I guess, were accusing her for choosing this book just to get all... Did you hear that part? What they were doing was... Yeah, explain. They were accusing her of missing the point with James Fry. They were upset at her... for her comments that she made to Larry King on the Larry King live show, cut 16. We recognize that there have been thousands and hundreds of thousands of people whose lives have been changed by this book. That's a cool thing to say, Oprah, and she's taking all of it back. Because that's still true. Whether it was made up or factual, it still touched people's lives. And she says in there at one point, she goes, there's a woman that I know that so...
empowered by what she read in your book and she was able to overcome addiction because you were and you went through all of those things and she overcame them. And now she knows that that person didn't even really exist. And I'm thinking to myself, so what does that mean? Is she going to go relapse? Truthfully, the truth is, James Fry was no more responsible for her being drunk than he was sobering her up. He didn't do any of it. She did. She read an inspiring book. Oh, well. You know, he's not responsible. You know, and what information did Oprah learn from the time when she was defending him on Larry King to now that felt that she needed to have this show? She says that it was just people emailing her saying, why did you do that? This guy lied. But on the Larry King show...
you know, after she calls and defend him, he says, he admits, I embellished some things. Right, right. So it's the same sentiment. I don't understand why now all of a sudden she's like, you're a piece of crap. Right. Audience pressure. I can understand. Yeah, it is. I can understand having him on, you know, talking about it, but the animosity that she showed towards him is the difference, and that I don't understand. Well, she's taking out her bad decision on him. Right. Her decision to defend him on Larry King. And also, I guess a lot of people... Even though it's her fault. I guess a lot of people were accusing her of knowing that he lied, and that was why she chose the book for the book club. I never heard that, though, Ashley. I never heard... Towards the end of the episode, it was the Washington Post guy, and he was asking her, and she clarified that she never... The Washington Post guy was upset at her for the Larry King thing. He wrote an article about the Larry King deal, and he was real upset about what she said on Larry King about... She never said directly but implied that the truth didn't matter. What mattered was this story of redemption and overcoming. And this guy was saying, you're missing the point, Oprah. It really is about those things. And there's a portion of what he's saying that's true. The truth is important. That is true. What I think was unusual was the...
Complete 180 on her decision to say those things which were true in the first place, which was the guy overcame some things. And then doing an hour long show with him on it where she is looking for blood, man. I mean, she and I said to my wife, I go, what do you think the people in the audience at this point would say if she started screaming out? Should we stone him to death? What do you guys think? I mean, it was a total mob mentality in that room. It was a mob mentality. It was. It was, man. It was really sad to watch. And my wife goes, she goes, look at his like posture. Listen to his voice like he's broken. And apparently during the break, he said to her, hey, if there was a gun backstage, I'd use it. He is as I mean, listen, the punishment don't fit the crime. But my wife asked, so why do you think he's not like kind of trying to? say the things that we're saying like, hey, it's a book. And I said, I'll tell you exactly why he's not. Money. This is all about money. And he feels a tremendous amount of weight from the fact that when she said his name, millions of books were sold. He's sitting in front of the woman who single-handedly put millions of dollars in his pocket. And the weight of that to him is
is enormous. Because now, if it was just a person that liked his book, that was beating him up in this way, he could say, listen, I'm sorry. I embellished some things. He knew that he had to sit there like a child and be beat up by her because he was indebted to her. She is the one that put that money in his pocket. And money speaks so loudly in this country. When people make you money or they're responsible for it, there was this thing. In his mind of like, well, I guess I should take this. I guess I really did screw you over. To me, a really disappointing thing about that whole situation is usually when you have somebody on like that, there's a counterbalance. Right. Yeah. You know, there's somebody there that has the opposite side. And there isn't that in this, you know. Well, dude. This poor guy is like out there by himself.
Just swinging wildly. Yeah, dude. And what is he supposed to do? She wanted to, Oprah wanted to discuss like the psychology of a liar in front of him. Like he wasn't in the room. Nice. And that happened. You know, one of the guys was saying, well, you know, he is a former addict. And one of the things that, you know, really does get you to being in a better place in that is the truth and starting to be accountable for. And he's sitting there with his head down. And she's like, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. I mean, it was rough. Thank goodness his publisher was there with him. Oh, she beat her up, too. Oh, yeah, she did. She beat her up, too. Thank God she was there. P1 Tina, are you there? Yes. Go ahead. I'm just infuriated with this whole thing because what people seem to be failing to realize is that every single autobiography, every single book... novel, everything has embellishments and has exaggerations. That's the whole point of creative purpose because nobody has a perfect life. Nobody has this all-powering, oh, great, so interesting life that we want to pick up a book and read about it. They have to embellish to make people want to buy the book. Well, this almost goes the other way of what you're saying, Tina. Well, I mean, I've never read the book, so I can't say anything. What it is is it's the opposite thing of what you're saying.
It's people embellishing about incredibly tragic things that have happened to them. Instead of, oh, look at my great life. It's like, whoa, look at how bad my life was. When the truth is, no, you were actually really a preppy person that had pretty good parents and a lot of money and you went to a good college. And that's the deal. But I understand what you're saying. It is what it is. It's not like, it doesn't change my life. It really doesn't change my life. Can we all just remember that it's a book? Yeah, it's a book. Yeah, so he lied a little bit about it not being as bad as it was. Would you have read about it if it was a preppy guy on crack? Yeah. No, I hear you. I hear you. And this is what I wonder. Does this what she did yesterday, does it sell more books? My wife said, if I hadn't read it, I'd be curious now. Like, what is he saying there? I'd be buying it now. P1 James? Yeah. Go ahead. I think the dude should just make another memoir and include Oprah and do all the little mistakes he made. I agree. I agree. Because, I mean, it's going to be true and it's going to kind of get back at Oprah a little bit. Very much. Oprah Winfrey on his line. Cut 15. All the way through the book, I altered details about every single one of the characters to render them...
Unidentifiable. So how did she die? Cut her wrists. And so cutting, hanging is more dramatic than cutting your wrists? Is that why you chose hanging? I don't think either are more dramatic than either. Yeah, but I'm just wondering, why do you have to lie about that? Sky. It was clear to me throughout this whole interview that she wasn't interviewing him. Like, he may as well not have even spoke because... Whatever, you know, when you interview somebody, you ask them a question, you listen to what they have to say, and then you respond to that. But all of her responses were already planned, like just right there. You know, she was saying, oh, you know, he clearly explained, oh, to, you know, help cover the identities, change the facts a little bit. And she goes, oh, why? Is it more dramatic that way? You know, and like towards the end of the show when she was grilling the publisher. Oh, are you guys still selling the book? And the publisher's like, well, like I just explained to you, we stopped printing.
We're going to put a preface in. Oh, so our book's for sale right now. I'm telling you that we're putting a new, you know, like Oprah's not even listening to their responses. And that's so insulting. Isn't that kind of odd? Like the white hot anger, like white hot anger to where she's not listening. She's and she wasn't, man. She was cutting them off before they would finish. She was pissed. That's like I said earlier about the dramatic turn from Larry King two weeks ago to this new Oprah show. You're mad because people are calling you out now. Yep. Okay? But that doesn't change any of the facts. Right. And anything that you actually did say on Larry King. Right. So why are you pissed? You should be pissed off at yourself, not this guy. Yeah. Well, the publisher says at one point, she goes, you know, a lot of people got hurt. James got hurt from this. You got hurt from this. And she goes, actually, she said a lot of people are hurt. James is hurt. You're hurt. She goes, I'm not hurt. I'm embarrassed. And I'm disappointed. I'm embarrassed. And I'm disappointed. She said it like that, like twice. Yeah. It's okay. She must have gotten some hate mail. Oh, man. I can't imagine. She's wet. It's weird because to me, like, if I was Oprah, if I was in that exact situation, my response to it would be, like, have, like, maybe a 15-minute segment on one of my shows just saying, hey, this is what has gone on. You know, I've had time to think about it. And you know what? I do kind of feel wronged a little bit. And, you know, I...
I don't support this anymore. And then leave it at that. Why do you have to attack somebody, rake them over the coals? Ruin his life. Skye, I just, like, I said that exact same thing. I was saying that exact same thing. Because she could, if her main concern is the way her viewers are now looking at her, that would have accomplished the same thing without her making her look like such a horrible person. Do a 60-second thing on that. Right. Before a show. You ruined my life. Take 60 seconds to go, hey, listen, I was just like you. I read the book. I liked it. I thought it was great, and I realized it wasn't. Hey, I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. I didn't know. Anyway, so here's what we got on the show today. Right. Brutal. That was a fascinating part of my day yesterday. Oh, dude. So, so much to tell you today. We have an actress on the show today, and her name is Mary Lynn. I believe the last name is pronounced Rayskub. It's either Rayskub or Rayskub. Anyway, we'll find out. Strange name with a J in it. Maybe you may not know who this is, but she plays Chloe on the show 24. Two reasons for having her on. Number one, 24 is an extremely highly rated, popular show that Sky geeks out about like you wouldn't believe. I mean, geeks out about. Geek out, everyone! Very selfish reason. I want to have her on because she's worked with Paul Thomas Anderson, my favorite film director of all time, which, if somebody has a cousin who's
brother is a barber who once met Paul Thomas Anderson, I want to talk to them. If we ever have Paul Thomas Anderson on the air, I'm going to pass out. But anybody associated with Paul Thomas Anderson, I want to talk to. Paul Thomas Anderson directed Boogie Nights. He directed Magnolia, Punch Drunk Love. His first movie is called Heart 8. If you haven't seen these movies, go get them. He's brilliant. He is a He's like Martin Scorsese with a very good movie, so I can't wait to talk to her. Sky Alaska 24 stuff. Yeah. We'll get into it. Who do we got? Brian Regan? Yeah. Brian Regan in the stand-up spotlight. I like the Daredevil thing, you know. I used to enjoy watching Evel Knievel, and I feel bad for him now. He's a little older. He doesn't jump, but he always does these talk shows, and every time he does one, they want to show him that footage where he fell off the motorcycle and bounced around like 83 times. Right.
That's what they show him. Hey, do you remember that day, Evil? Oh, no, I don't know. And they always ask him what he was thinking right before he hit the ground. What kind of question is that? What were you thinking right before he hit the ground, Evil? What were you thinking? I remember thinking, hey, did I turn off the iron? Then my leg cracked in half. Then I was thinking, hey, maybe I should get a puppy. What do you think I was thinking? I was thinking, something like that if I remember right. Let me go back. Yeah, yeah. I believe those are my thoughts. Hope I've crystallized them for you. We'll be right back.

I don't mind being fat. You know, it hurts, but it... Save that clip. I hate the pigs. What's right now? What's the year we on? Rock 105.3. High temperatures from the low to mid-60s. Chula Vista's 50. Right now, Santee's 46 degrees. This is a cool music bed, Ashley. Is this new? Has this been in there for a while? I guess so. Which one is it? I don't know, but I like it. Is this Bobby Kernels did this? What's it called? Back to Madness. Yes, that's a Bobby Kernels. Yes.
Yeah, it reminds me of my old 80s heyday. It wasn't really a heyday, but I refer to it that way. Heyday. What does that mean? Was it a farmer thing, maybe? Yeah. It's like a great day is when the hay came in. That is a great... It's a hell of a theory. I don't know. If it isn't true, I like it. That's what a heyday is. You know, the calls are going to come in. Actually, Mikey, what a heyday was, it refers to a 1932 colonel that actually... General Hay. From the Sioux dynasty. Yes, the Alfred B. Hay. So anyway, hey, guess what? We're going to be doing the Fear Factor thing coming up at 7 o'clock. Woo, girl! So we will invite people to come on down and watch. Where are we doing it, Eddie? Right out front, you know, our usual grassy knoll. So go on the front of the building. You all right, Skye? Yeah, I got it. Skye almost blew her head off. I got it. At 9660 Granite Ridge Drive, you want to come down and watch the, in the Mikey show, Fear Factor with gross things and all kinds. It's just like Fear Factor. And what the ultimate... Oh, my. Holy crap. Holy Toledo. I mean, isn't anyone going to say, bless you? Bless you. Bless you. Thank you. Wow. Skye, by the way, the only person I've ever known to request a...
She admonishes you. Yes, she does. I get very upset. Me and my husband fight over it. You are thrown out of the kingdom of Skye if you do not. If you don't do what she wants, look out. That's right. It's my way or the Skye way. It's common courtesy. Come on down and watch. The winner is going to get tickets to UFC, which is in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay. You get to stay at the Mandalay Bay. You get ticket flight, airfare out there and the whole thing. We've already got our contestants, but it would be fun to have people watch. Starts at 7 o'clock. Should be a good time. It's Friday. That's a good feeling. I have to exercise and then go exercise. I need to do some cardio today. I'm really hoping that I've lost some weight on Monday because I've done all right except for my cheat. I've done okay. Like yesterday for breakfast, I had a bagel with some onion and turkey on it and a slice of Swiss cheese, which for me is very different. I would usually like to have... Sky, you know my eating habits before.
That's good for you, yes. That's a step in the right direction. All right. Cut out cheese. I can read between your lines. And the bagels. Yeah. I understand. Pita bread. Bagel. I hope you like getting punched in the stomach. I know. Listen, it's not like those. Bagel is equal to five slices of bread. Not like that foot's never been in my nuts before. That's true. Very true. Anyway, come on out and watch the fear factor that we're going to bring in front of the building on the grassy knoll today. Yeah, you can show up late to work today. It's Friday. Yeah, why not? Nobody cares. Or even take the day off. Come on. Casual Friday. Let's go. My brother Sam was going out partying last night. I have not known my brother Sam to go out partying since he was in high school. I can't wait to get a report on what that was like. He's going out drinking with the boys. Nice. Yeah. Is this my brother Sam? Where's my brother? Let me talk to him. Mikey's show. Hello. Hey, Mikey. Yes. I just wanted to say that yesterday I was listening to you guys about crossing the border and the dogs smell the weed. Yes. And that's bullshit.
Careful, careful. He didn't say it. He almost said it. That's bull, man, because I just crossed right now, and not a problem. There was no dogs? Most of the time, there's not. Yeah, I guess what the guy was saying is that, yeah, you're right, most of the time there's not, but I guess on the weekends, when it's very crowded, you can see. Yeah, the busy times. Busy times. Yeah, but if you smoke in the car sky, they can't tell. Yes, guys, so don't worry about it. Because I've had the dogs on the other side of the door, and I've had about, An ounce in my pocket. I can't really smell that. Holy cow, you. All you got to do is try to, like, pet the dog. All right. And then the hander will take it right away because they're not supposed to be friendly. And then they just take them right away. That's what I mean. All right. Thanks for the call. Thank you. I recognize the voice. That was Cheech Marin on the phone. He just called in to say hello. Favorite. I have... There is a... Tracy Morgan is going to be doing his first interview since all the craziness. And I'll tell you who... Excuse me, not Tracy Morgan. Dave Chappelle is going to be doing his first interview since all the craziness. That's crazy. Yeah, that's crazy. And I'll tell you exactly who it's going to be when we come back. Time for Mikey Sports. Wiggle. You're the oracle. Here's Eddie. This sports update is brought to you by Lowe's. The first day of the Buick Invitational kicked off yesterday. Brant Jobe and Thomas LeVay are the early leaders at 7-under.
Tiger, he had a little bit of a rough day. He only hit one fairway, but still shot one under. Other notables were Sergio Garcia and John Daly, who shot three under, and Phil Mickelson, who is also one under. Poway golfer Charlie Hoffman had the round of his life, shooting six under, only one shot behind the leader. So, go Charlie. While the Raiders wait to interview Steelers offensive coordinator Ken Wisenhunt for the vacant head coaching job, they interviewed... Wisenhunt, look at this guy. She's that funny. I did too, too. They interviewed former Rams head coach Mike Martz. Oh, no. Yeah, and you know Al Davis. He likes to go vertical. Yes. So that should be interesting. He's the fifth coach interviewed for the job. The struggling Minnesota Timberwolves shook up their roster with a big trade yesterday sending swingman Wally Zerbiak and centers Michael Oluwankandi and Dwayne Jones and a future first-round draft pick to Boston for Ricky Davis, Mark Blount, Marcus Banks.
and Justin Reed, and two conditional second-round draft picks. The Padres are one of two teams interested in future Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza. The Pods and Phillies are two teams most interested in the 37-year-old catcher. Eddie, what do you think of that? Well, I think Hillcrest is going to be happy about that. Oh, well, Mike Piazza has said he's not broke back. He's not broke back? He says he's not broke back. Listen, it's ridiculous. My haircut was real broke back, though. Padres, what are you doing? What do they need? What should they do instead of this? Well, they do need a catcher. I'm not going to lie about that. But, you know, I don't understand these signings. But, Eddie, why do the Doug Mirabelli thing and still looking for a catcher? Well, Doug Mirabelli is a serviceable backup. Right. But he's not a starter. Yeah. You know, and Piazza, it'd be kind of cool to have a big-name player in there. Right.
But he's past his prime. He's 37. He's got bad knees. He doesn't play the entire season. What's the point? I don't get it. And we're going to spend a lot of money to have him sign here because he's a big name. And is it looking like it's pretty close? It's one of two teams that are the most interested in him. Really? So, you know, I would be a little surprised if they did, being that I think he's from Philadelphia. So, I mean, the Phillies would be a pretty... He probably wants to go there. Yeah. But I know he likes the West Coast, you know, when he played here for LA. I just, I mean, give me a break with these signings. Like, figure it out, Padres. Sign some big-name pitchers. And you know what kind of freaks me out about it is that on opening day, I don't really know what to expect. I mean, I guess you get a little bit of an idea of what's going on during spring training. But it's like, it's a whole new team, man. Yeah, it really is. I mean, you know, I was calling last year telling him, shake up the roster. Get rid of everybody but Khalil. and Jake Peavy. But the guys that they signed, I don't, you know, the Vinny Castillas of the world, I mean, these are older guys that are past their prime. I don't get it. So it's going to be an interesting season. All right, let's look at sports. Okay, so Dave Chappelle, if people remember correctly, Dave Chappelle was given a contract with Comedy Central that was worth something in the arena of $50 million. And then he went AWOL.
Eddie, am I right? Weren't they filming it? And he like split. He was in the middle of season three of the Chappelle show. He just up and left, went on some excursion to Africa and, you know, said he needed to clear his mind of all the pressures going on. And the rumor was that he was in like kind of a mental institution. Yeah, they said he went nuts. Yeah. So anyway, he's going to do his first interview with James Lipton of Inside the Actors Studio. That's going to be the first interview, Sky? Yeah, it's going to air on February the 12th, and I think the way they kind of roped him into it is because his interview is going to be part of the recognition of Black History Month, which will also feature interviews with Morgan Freeman, Queen Latifah, Samuel L. Jackson, and Martin Lawrence. Dave Chappelle, you are part of one of the greatest symptomatic excursions ever called Half Baked. I love that. That's so funny. I know it. I know it.
Is that what his big thing was, Half-Baked? I mean, that's where I first, you know, really fell in love with him. Inside the actor's studio. Dude, Lipton and that show is really stretching it now. I mean, they're interviewing people that are like, why that person? I watched it yesterday with Martin Lawrence two days ago. I caught, like, the tail end of it, and it was weird because he was making him do all the characters for Martin. And it was like, dude, that... It just seemed out of context. Tell me about your experience. Can I speak special ed? Like as an actor? What phone would you use? Did you think of the end of The Office last night? I didn't watch it last night. Don't tell me that. You're an awful human being. Don't say that to me. You're an awful human being. Really last night I didn't get a nap in so I couldn't stay up but I tepoted. How dare you? I tepoted. I missed one freaking episode of 24 and you wanted to chop your head off. That was the
premiere episode. Excuse me. This is the best show on television. That's right. It's the best show on television. That is different. There were so many great moments from last night. The premise of last night's show, somebody put something disgusting in Michael's office and he begins to question his popularity in the office. Not like me. He described it as an act of terrorism. Hate crime. Hate crime. And after he says it's a hate crime, he goes, Stanley, you would know about this. Oh, no. Stanley, the black guy. Yes, the black guy in the show. But it turns out that it was Todd Packer. Packer. Yeah. Todd Packer, who's like a male chauvinist pig. And he loves Todd. I think he looks up to Todd Packer. Absolutely. And It's his only true friend. Yes, because Todd Packer doesn't get it either. Well, yeah, Packer is an idiot. Right. And so he says at one point, speaking of Todd Packer, one time Todd had sex with every girl in the office as a joke. It was great. He's great. It was great. All right, we got to take a break. We'll be right back. What are you talking about? What are you talking about? That'd be our new slogan. Yeah, the talkiest talk show on 053.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but where are you guys going to watch the big game? I don't know yet.
big game, I think we know what I'm talking about. You know the game between the Steelers and Seahawks? Do you mean the game that you're legally not allowed to say? What do you mean? The thing. Well, the game is usually like a super good game. It's a super good game. It's a super good game. And it usually takes place on a Sunday. But yes, the big game in a stadium that is bowl-shaped. Oh, very good. Very good. Anyway, where are you going to watch the game? I don't know. I haven't made plans yet. I don't know. I think I'm going to Mikey's. I don't know. We haven't talked about it. thinking about going to Hooters because it's going to be going off at Hooters. They're actually going to be giving away a big screen TV or a trip to the brand new Hooters Hotel Casino in Vegas. That's pretty awesome. So, I mean, they have tons of, any of the locations, you know, PB, Mission Valley, Oceanside, or Gassam, they have tons of TVs. So you're going to get a great, you know, great shot of the game anywhere you sit. Plus the food there at Hooters, the girls. I mean, it's the best place on earth, and that is sick.
Science, Holmes. Mikey. Short, shaved head, Mexican with a goatee. Sleeve. Along with Eddie. Unlike Boston Robb, I don't like looking like a homeless person. That's true. Sky. Free lunch. I've not seen lunch in a very long time. I want to punch her. You're a good guy. Boston Robb. See me at the Can Depot fighting the nickels. And Ashley. I want your ass to see that movie. I love it. Save that clip. It's the Mikey Show. This is the biggest yaste of air time ever. On Rock 105.3. It is 657. Partly cloudy today. High temperatures from the low to mid-60s. Oceanside's 44 right now here in Kearney Mesa. It's 50 degrees. I've hit more fairways than Tiger did yesterday out at Torrey Pines. He only hit one, but he shot a one-on-one. That's the difference between him and him. How about that? Welcome back to the show. I'm just starting to get over the fact that Sky didn't watch The Office last night.
Stop it. I'm going to watch it today. If it were 24, you know how upset you'd be. Especially if it was the premiere of 24. See, me and the hubby had this discussion. Shows like 24, shows like Lost, you can't miss them because they can be spoiled. People can spoil them for you by telling you tidbits that you didn't know were going to happen. Things like The Office, people can't really spoil a joke. You know, the joke is always better when you see it. Michael does it every episode. You need to watch The Office. You would see that. Anyway, so yeah, you cannot miss 24 because then the next day everybody's going to tell you what happened and then you're going to be upset. That's why I do not miss it. Ashley is not bright. She is almost retarded. Low IQ haiku. Like, whoa. Here's the way that low IQ haiku works. We are going to give our...
Assistant producer Ashley some vocabulary words, and she's got to use the word in a sentence. I always tease Ashley because I believe that she's a little bit of an airhead, and so I like to get her exercising that vocabulary. And you call in because if she can't use the word in a sentence, you'll have the opportunity to. And if you're a numbskull, you don't win either, but if you can use the word in a sentence correctly, you win. It's pretty easy. Eddie, what's the prize? I have no idea. Ashley? Hang on a second. It's water. No, it's not. Free water. Nothing? You don't have anything in there? Well, they get a powerboat, Mike. A yacht. We'll get some extra toilet paper for this. We'll figure something out. We'll figure something out. Have a shirt with sweaty pants, Mike. Yeah. I don't know what you want. Shut up. Called for. Whoa. And unnecessary. Yeah. No.
P1 Renee, ready to play low IQ haiku? Yes, I am. Turn your radio down, please. Okay, okay. Your forklift down as well. We'll begin with Ashley. Ashley, your first word is precocious. Okay. Precocious. Renee, did you just hang up? Hang on. P1 Chris, you're going to play in Renee's place, okay? Okay. The very precocious dog was aggressively biting my ankles. What does the word mean? Like feisty or like, you know, mean. I think that's incorrect. I would have given you the benefit of the doubt. I just... See, I have no clue. Anyone, Chris? Yes. You want to try to use precocious in a sentence? A child I saw singing on the corner was very precocious. That is correct. It's doing something, it's... Here's the definition. Exhibiting mature qualities at an unusually early age. Yeah. So that is a great... You used it perfectly, actually. Yes, very good.
Thank you very much. Hang on. Well, you're brilliant. No. You don't need to insult me. Pay one mic. Low IQ haiku. I'm ready. Ashley gets a shot first, then you. All right. Ashley, your word is jovial. Can you spell it, please? No. J. Ove. It's jovial. You're confusing. No, stop. Your word is? You're confusing. Stop with that. I'm confused. Okay, jovial. Jovial. Jovial. Sound it out, Ash. Jovial. Okay. Okay. Listen. Listen. Eddie, please. Sorry. Sorry to break your train of thought. Jovial. Yes, listen. Listen. Jovial. Okay. Sentences. Listen. Hey. Sentences. So why are you... So why are...
So why do you look so jovial when you're really 35 years old, Mikey? That's very insulting. Yeah. It's very insulting. It's kind of right, but it's mean. Where's the dinger? I don't think that's right. I don't think it's right. That is not right. Let's clarify. Well, she's going to have to explain what it is. Yes. Well, put it this way. If Eddie said that to me, I know for a fact it makes sense. It would. Because you get the context. I see what you're saying. I don't think I would have said that. You wouldn't have. I would have said, well, I don't want to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's have her explain. What is jovial? What is jovial? If you can tell me what you mean, I'll give it to you. What I mean is, and this is not towards you. I just thought of a name. It was a different Mikey. But it's someone who looks really, really, really like has younger baby features, even though they're older. You are a jovial. Jackass. I do like Defender. I do like Defender. What? It's so wrong. No. It's so wrong. See, if she would have meant it like, I don't know why you look so happy. You're old. You're an old guy. Right, right. Okay. And I gave her the benefit of the doubt. That's what I thought. But that's not fair because I used it right in a sentence and that's the game. But you didn't. No, you didn't. You didn't, though. You want Mike? Can you use jovial in a sentence? Yeah. Ashley makes really jovial attempts to seem smart.
That's incorrect, too. Yeah, that's not right either. Who's not smart now? Both of you? Sir. We just explained it to you two. Who's not smart now? Smart. Not me. Santa Claus is the most jovial person I know. Oh, yeah. It means... Actually, it means markedly good humor, especially as evidenced by Jolly. Okay? Okay. Let's go on to the next contestant. P1 Brad. Yo. Are you ready? You go first, Ashley. It is... It is... Boyant. She may not get any of these right today. Boyant. B-O-Y-A-N-T. No, it's not like a... Well... Wait. I'll spell it for you. Okay. Okay. This is her when she hears the other words. I'm doing that, Sean. Boyant. It means making yourself throw up. And eating disorders. Shut up. Boyant. Okay, I think I know this one.
Hey, look at you over there. Hey, look at you over there. You're looking very buoyant today because you're very confident. Incorrect. Son of a bitch. You want Brad? You want to try to use the word buoyant in a sentence? All right. I bet you Sean is very buoyant in the pool. All right. That is correct. That is correct. Capable of floating. Buoyant is capable of floating. Look at Ashley. That's so stupid. She's irritated at the definition of the word. Mine's better. What a dumb word. What a stupid word. Why would that word ever even exist anyway? Why wouldn't they just say capable of floating? Thank you. Or make it more like floataricious. Yeah. Or floatatious. You're very floatatious. You're very floatational. You're very floataricious. Yeah.
It's having to do with floating in. I do. Okay. Okay. Brad, you're a winner. Hang on the line. One last contestant. One last contestant. Can I just say I hope Brad gets cancer? Oh, wow. I don't know this. That's not nice. Anyone, Kim? Yeah. Play low IQ haiku? I think so. All right, Ashley, here's your word. You ready? The word is? Conglomerant. Stop it. No, the word is conglomerate. It's C-O-N-G-L-O. Stop saying, hey, mister, in 1957. She still uses it in a sentence. No. Hey, mister, hey, mister, big pardon. Okay, be aggressive. No, that's incorrect. He was going for it. No, nobody. Kim, use the word conglomerate in a sentence. I'm not much brighter than Ashley, but I'm going to try the group was conglomerate. What does it mean? Tell me what it means.
See, it's a tough one. We need you on the show, man. Who would know that word, right? Thank you, Mama. All right, I'm sorry. Together? No, that is incorrect. It's a widely diversified corporation, but... Oh, well, that's boring. We've got two of them on the line. Lynn Rayskup coming up next. From the show 24, she plays Chloe and worked with my favorite movie director of all time. We'll be right back. You'll get to see more of this. This is pretty disturbing. Getting past that, you're going to find a busier ride already from Federal...
That continues past the 805 and toward the 15 connector here as you head towards downtown. The westbound 8 is not too bad at all, actually. It's looking fine in the Cajon Valley. Just a bit of a backup from the 15 and towards the 805. Coming out of the South Bay, both the 5 and 805 northbound now seeing heavier traffic out of Chula Vista up in the National City. 805 is backing up again, see, towards the North Park area. Then one more time out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over that 52. The ride out of Escondido, as always, man, just nuts to butts in the South 15 from before the 78. down to West Bernardo Drive, and now some reduced speeds from Mercy Road down in towards Mira Mesa. And the coaster ride on Southbound 5 is seeing a bit of a slowdown approaching La Costa, and that stays off and on with you down past Loma Santa Fe Drive in Solana Beach. Well, and plus, you know me, I like to be all frugal. Sean. Well, I'd like to see a woman make it bleed. Boston Rob. Very professional. Distinguishing. Okay. Almost exotic. All right. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. On Rock 5-3. Yo, it's 7-15. Today, we're going to see high temperatures from the low to mid-60s. Power right now, San Carlos.
It's 47 degrees. It looks like the Padres are one of two teams interested in future Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza. Just been informed, we do not have a lot of time with this actress, so I want to get right to it. I'm very excited about this. On my inside line, is this Mary Lynn, I'm going to try to pronounce this name correctly, Rice Cub? Rice Cub. I was very close. You did good. Not half bad. I'm sure a lot of... Some people may butcher that though, Mary Lynn. You got to be honest. Some people probably butcher that. I'm not going to lie to you about that. Mary Lynn, at the end of today, I will bet you that if anybody were to ask you what was the most unique interview you had today, it will probably be this one because I am really interested in talking to you about two very different things. Uh-oh. No, no, no. It's not bad. It is not bad. I'm telling you, it's not bad. I'm in trouble. Nope. But first and foremost, it's your character Chloe on 24.
which My News Girl Sky. Oh, I love it. Such a fan of that show. And she was, she goes, this morning she goes, I wish that we could talk to Chloe. She goes, I know we're going to talk to Mary Lynn. I wish that I could just be friends and talk to her and just like, do people call you Chloe now when you're walking down the street? I feel like I'm going to disappoint you. Oh, no. What Chloe would say. People love this character. I think I could fix it. wirelessly by tracking some satellites for you. That's all I need, Chloe. Her name's not Chloe. In my heart, she will always be Chloe. But it's actually Mary Lynn, and she's a very talented actress. Well, sure, yeah. But is it hard for you, Mary Lynn, to be such a kind of an oddball hard-ass on the show? Well, yeah. You love it. You love it. I can't remember what it was, but one time...
I said something. It wasn't, shut up. That wasn't, that wasn't say that. I forgot for a second that it was Chloe and I was like, oh yeah, you're right. Like the director, but I can't remember what it was. It was just something that like normal people really wouldn't say to somebody else. Mary Lynn, we only have a couple of minutes left with you. By the time we came out of commercials, I only had time for about five minutes. So I got to get to the other reason. No, no, no, no. I got to get to the other reason that I want, I was really interested in talking to you. You have worked with my all time. favorite film director. Of course. Yeah, he's pretty good. Yeah, he's pretty good. And I was really upset. My favorite film of all time is Magnolia. And I was really bummed because I watched the extras on it and I was really bummed that they cut the scene out with you and Tom Cruise where Tom Cruise talks about how his dog died. I know, that's a good thing. I'm glad you got to see that. That's great stuff.
A lot of people don't know about that. A lot of people don't know, but you watch the deleted scenes, you get to see all that stuff, but you were also in Punch Drunk Love, which I believe that you were brilliant in. Will you work with Paul Thomas Anderson again, and when will Paul Thomas Anderson work again? I went on there, and there's nothing. It's like he's not doing anything, and the last thing listed on there is Blossoms in Blood, which is a little short thing that he did for Punch Drunk Love. Oh, he's on 24, Brady Corbet. I was also in Mysterious Skin with him. He's a 16-year-old actor, blonde kid, Derek on 24. Oh, Derek, okay. But he was telling me it's just this long, involved, period piece. I believe it might be about coal miners. Now I'm forgetting as I'm trying to recall it. But, yeah, he's written the script and taken him a long time to write, and it's an oracle but yet personal story.
Was Paul Thomas Anderson dating Fiona Apple when you worked with him? Did you meet Fiona? Well, I mean, I don't know how else to say it other than did you get to know her? Yeah, I got to know her. I held hands with her. You what? Held hands with her many times. What is that about, Mary Lynn? I was just trying to think if I'm goofy. What were your impressions? What did you think? I fill in the blank with her. I don't know. I'm friends with her. I used to live with John Bryan, who produced the albums. Yeah. He was actually friends with Paul Thomas Anderson. Paul Thomas Anderson. I met Paul when Boogie Nights came out. Funny guy. Had no idea he was a movie director, but was dating John Bryan. And then two weeks later, the premiere. And that made this. So wait a minute. Did you hook... If you were dating John, did you hook Fiona and Paul up?
No, they met... How did they meet? I think they met independently of John. Okay. I think it was just like a party or something. I wish that you could come down here and hang out, because I'd like to talk to you for the next hour about this stuff, but I know that you've got to move on. But Mary Lynn, it was fun talking to you. I wish we had more time. I like talking to you, too. I know this is probably the weirdest interview you're going to do today. I'm sure everybody else is like, so tell me about, you know, our... Power number nine. Jack Power, what's his story? Yeah, no. I want to talk about Paul and Fiona and John Bryan and stuff. You got different things. Yeah. I do. I do. People. I had a different agenda. I'm sorry. But I have to say this season of 24, in my opinion, is the best season yet, and I am so excited. Awesome. Thank you. Let me tell you that Mary Lynn plays Chloe, and 24 is on Fox, and it's on Monday nights, and I like you. You're odd like me.
I hope you take that in the right way. It is. I think you're cool. And she is attractive. Oh, well, there you go. See, I don't want to come across as this, like, real creepy, you know. Well, you do. Hey, listen, Chloe's getting some action this season, so it's kind of interesting. Yep. Who is Chloe? We can say what it is. It's the oddest love story interest thing ever. Who is it? Well, she, in one of the first episodes, she hooked up with, another agent that's working and turns out to be like, he's a mole. Kind of a mole. He thinks he's doing good, don't you? And she treats him like crap and it's hysterical. Are they pouring like condiments from the refrigerator on each other? Not at all. In fact, she insults him basically while they're together. And you're a joy. You're a joy. Alright, call back in again sometime. She's like, sure. Whatever.
Whatever, man. All right, then go talk to Happy and Slappy in Denver right now. You know what I mean? Give her your cell phone. Yeah, I'm going to give you my cell phone. We're going to go eat at Denny's. We're going to eat at Denny's. Lynn, thank you for coming on the Mikey Show. She's as whacked as she's on the show. Yeah, man. But you know what? You got to see. You love her. Oh, I love her. You love her now. I love her now because she was so weird. Yeah. And let me tell you something. Paul Thomas Anderson, this movie director, is a freak, man. He's weird. He's really weird. And the movies are weird. And she is weird in the movies and so good at just being that quirky, bizarre, weird girl. Well, her character Chloe is also just very strange, a total oddball. And so one of the questions I wanted to ask, you know, are you weird in your own life? Do you draw that to your character? But like, I didn't have to even ask because talking to her for like a minute, I'm like, oh, she's weird. You know, that's awesome. And the thing is, is that, you know.
The Fiona question, she took as very, you could tell she thought it was very strange. She's like, did I meet her? Well, yeah. I mean, I'm not saying that because she's like a star. I'm saying, did you get to know her? Like, that's all. Yeah. I mean, I would say that about somebody that works in our building. Like, hey, did you meet so-and-so? Well, I know she also like she does comedy, Mary Lynn. Oh, really? Like she was in that Kelsey Grammer sketch show. She's like done a bunch of sitcoms. So I think like maybe she started out wanting to be like kind of a comedian. So I think with that Fiona Apple question, she was trying to think of something funny to say. And that's why she ended up coming back with the hand holding thing. So funny. It's crazy. There you go. I love her even more now. I like her. I thought she was interesting person. back. Morning show now continues. Funny time again. I had to go tinkle, so it took me a little extra longer to get out here. Don't worry, dude. I held it down. Dude, I'm looking around. First of all, I have to say A plus to the promotions department. Dude, Jay is out of control.
He's out of control. What is that? Anytime we give Jay an advance or something like this, this is like his dream. If you want something on a scale of 1 to 10, he goes, how about 40? Will that do? Jay, why don't you work for NBC and Pure Factor? I don't know. I should. Give me a job. You're an evil genius. Jay, describe what you have built here for us. We call it the tube of blood. Because basically there's locks set up in this big black tube. It's probably about 15, 20 foot long. You have to climb up through the tube and undo the locks as you go. But the hard part is that there's pig's blood pouring down on you. What? Yeah, through a hose. It's all got leaks in it. So it's all in your eyes. We may give them goggles if we want to. That's amazing. There's a pump. So it's continually going through. It's incredible. Jay, that's great, dude. That's great, man. That's the second stunt that we're going to do today. That's disgusting. That's pig blood. That's disgusting. That's the second stunt? That's the second stunt. What's the first stunt? Well, it's one of our favorite stunts that we've done here on the Mikey Show. Boston Rob, actually, very familiar with the stunt. What the? They have to eat live, hissing cockroaches. Wait a minute. Wait a minute.
We've seen these things. Hey, where's B-Rob? Rob, come here. Don't worry about that. That's crazy. I remember doing this when we were doing the challenges. This wasn't so much of the eating. It was the psychological aspect of feeling the legs go down your throat. Hang on. Turn up the mic. Okay, Sean, stop with the sound effects. Listen to that. Turn the mic up as loud as you can get it. Oh, my God. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? That's real. They don't go down easy. What is it? It's a hissing what? Madagascar hissing cockroach. Where do you even get that? We can't say. Okay. But they're being kept in like a plastic container with little carrots in there. So here's how this is going to work. We're starting with three contestants. That was too real. We're starting with three contestants. They each have to eat one of these.
The person that finishes it last has to show us. Right. They're out. Oh. Then the final two contestants will compete in the blood tube in a timed event. This is amazing what I'm looking at here. If you're not down here, you're an idiot. Yeah. You got to come see what we're going to do. Who are the contestants? Let's bring over our three contestants. Let's bring over the three contestants. Come on over. Come on over. Come on over. Oh, we got a chick. Yeah. We got a chick doing it. All right. Awesome. Contestant number one, all young people. What's your name, bro? How old are you? 32. And you like UFC? Yes, I do. And your name, young lady? Brianna. How old are you? 22. Brianna's the one that was doing this for the money. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Brianna. That pisses me off. You're not really necessarily interested in UFC, but you need some dough. Yes. You're thinking maybe if I get the tickets. Sell them on Craigslist, get a little dough, blah, blah, blah. Which is, hey, what do I care? I mean, I don't care. I care, Mikey. Ashley, why do you care, Ashley? Because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go see Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell fight for the third time. And for people that are into the UFC, you're absolutely right. It's a great thing to win. But Brianna needs the dough. And if she's willing to go through this.
I want her in that blood tube so bad. More power to her. If you know what I'm talking about. Oh, I didn't know it was that time of the month. Now, Brianna. Brianna, what are you... Look at Brianna. She's 22? Yeah. She's 22. She's a real pretty young woman. And here she is out here about to get into blood and eat cockroaches. And, I mean, what do you... You don't have a job? No, I do. But it's pretty much over next week, so... I don't know what it was. When you're in radio for a long time, you get these little instincts. I saw it in her face. She could cuss at any time. I just want to remind everybody, don't cuss. I don't know. I just saw it in her face. She's talking. I'm going, curse word alert. Just don't say any bad words. What do you do? What's your job? I deliver pizzas. There's a lot of ways to do that. You're saying it's going to end next week. You're a pretty girl. You can walk into any place and go, hi, can I deliver pizza? I go, yeah, we'll pay you extra to deliver pizza. You're pretty. I'm just trying to get a higher-paying job, so I'm hoping that this will give me more of an intuitive to get out there. An intuitive. Apparently, I went to the Ashley School of Vocabulary. It's okay. It's all right. Don't be nervous. See, if you don't know, I wouldn't use it. Sorry. It's okay. What is your name? Contestant number three. Jesse. Jesse, how old are you? Twenty-two.
The directive that Eddie gave, he said to everybody, and I'm guessing you are a UFC fan. Sure, yeah. Okay. Say again. I like to see people get their ass kicked. Who's fighting in this UFC event? I have no clue. Okay. Ask him, he won't know. This guy's turning this off right now. This is like the biggest fight of the century. Eddie was very clear to them. He's like, hey, man, these guys got to come down here, be prepared to dress in a way that... You know, they're going to get dirty. Guys wear a white sweatshirt. Yeah, I noticed that. Yeah, look at it. Are those dressed pants on, too? Yeah, look at those shoes. Wait a minute. Look at those shoes. He's got a button down, too. Yeah, dude. Those are nice shoes. Dude, you're dressed nice. I don't know. I mean, come on. I want to make it look good. Okay, because you're dressed in kind of nicer clothes. It's always good for radio. Yeah. What about you? I mean, you're going to get these clothes ruined. Oh, that's okay. My husband's got like a nine million of these shirts. Okay. All right. As long as that's a deal.
I just want you to know, though, that you're going to get dirty. All right, Eddie, first deal is the cockroaches. What should we do? Should we take a break and do it? Can we do it now? We can do it now. All right. We can line them up, get them ready. Where are they going to do this? Over at the table right here. All right. All right, guys. Which table? We can do it at that table. Are you ready? I don't want any part of this, dude. Yeah, and I want you guys to be able to see it. I want you guys to be able to see it. When you bite into these cockroaches, does juice come out? It's it. It's a popping? It's a popping, and then the hardest thing to get down is the legs because they get stuck in your throat. Now, Rob, let me ask you. Oh, we have an extra one. We have an extra one. Let him go. Let him go. Name him Fred and set him free. So, Rob. Go back to Madagascar. What was the most disturbing part of it? The popping sound, the taste, what? Honestly, it was...
After it was digested and swallowed, mentally, the whole thing that, you know, I just ate a cockroach, man. And now when you go home, if you have a taco or if you have a burrito, you're going to think of that. And that's all that's going to be in your head the rest of the day. What is it? And you're the only person here, obviously, that has had to do this on the Mikey show before where you've had to eat a... hissing Madagascar cockroach. To the best of your ability, what does it taste like? Well, it doesn't taste like peppermint gum. Interesting. It doesn't. That was my first thought. I wouldn't have expected that. Is there a flavor to it? No. It's mostly texture. Well, you get all of the things you like. You get the gooey. You get the crunchy. Yeah. You get the gummy after. It's like a taste bar. Eddie. Yes. Who's first? They're all going at the same time. Oh, really? Yeah. And then whoever. So the last person to swallow. Last person to show. And Jay, you're the judge. Last person to show Jay that, you know, you're finished. Or you got to show. Everybody got to show that they're finished. Last person to swallow it all down is out. Okay. I got to get names. I got to get names right in my head. What's your name again? Eric. And? Jesse. Okay. Brianna?
Eric, Jesse. You got to put one. Get it in your hand. Get it in your hand. That's weird. Wait, this guy's just a bystander? He just wants to eat one. Come on. Okay. Okay. All right. This is weird. Hey, no dropping your cockroach. Get it in your hand. Get it in your hand. Get it in your hand. Don't do anything. Don't throw him. It's not going to bite you. Listen to me. Hold it in your hand like you're cupping in your hand. Don't do it in your fingers. Palm it. Palm it. Probably not the first time you said that. Do not cuss. Do not cuss. All right. I am going to say one, two, three, and I want them in your mouth, okay? Here we go. I've said that, too. You can start chewing as soon as it's in your mouth. One, two, three, go. Oh, jeez. She can't do it. She can't do it. She can't put it in your mouth. Come on, sweetie. You can do it. Brianna can't put it in her mouth. She's giving up her head. These guys are chewing. First guy. First guy has already done it. Eric's done it. Eric's done it. Don't puke. You puke, you're out. She can't do it. She can't do it. Don't puke. Don't puke. I can't believe that. She can't do it. Money, no matter how badly she needs the money, she can't do it. That's it then. Well, as long as he swallows, he has to do it. He's got to swallow it. He's got to swallow it. Oh, yeah. He's got to swallow it. Yeah. That's all he needs. Eric and what? Jesse. Okay. Eric and Jesse. And what happened over here? Yeah, Brianna. Brianna, don't cuss, okay? I want to remind everybody here, please. Control your language.
I'm scared of fire, and I'm scared of roaches, and that thing freaking grabbed my finger, and there was water dripping out of its mouth. It's salivating. I don't know. They hiss. I don't know what it is. How about your husband? Did he do it? Yeah, he did it. Just for fun. He did it just for fun. You should have had him. He just wanted to do it for fun. Right, right, right. Oh, look, we got some. Man, Eric powered that down. Eric, Eric, Eric, Eric, what was your plan of attack? The plan of attack was just to get it done, two chomps, swallow it. Kind of like my prom date. Oh, my gosh. Eric, I forgot his name again. Jesse. I've got to write stuff down. Where's my cue cards, please? Jesse, describe the taste. It's not that bad. It's just the texture. Let me ask you this. When you started to chew, was it moving around?
Oh, yeah. That ain't okay. Wow. That ain't okay. All right, so they're moving on. All right, so they move on. Should we take a break or what? Yeah, we can take a break. All right, let's take a break. We're going to take a real quick break. When we come back, they will be sliding down the tube of blood, which you got to see this thing, man. It's unbelievable. It's unreal. Get down to 9660 Granite Ridge Drive if you want to watch this. It's pretty incredible. Wait, wait, wait. Say that again, Brian. I'm so scared. She's still scared. There's not even anyone near her. But take a break and be back. It's a Mikey show on Rock 105.3. The togetherness continues next on the Mikey show. That is the shiz night. It does get slower, though, at the 805, and that continues with the brake lights in past Texas Street here in Mission Valley. Let's see. North 805 out of the South Bay. Plenty of stuff on both the 5 and the 805 northbound out of Chula Vista over to National City. 805 slows again through North Park, as it usually does. And then you've got that backup always waiting for you out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over the 52 toward the Golden Triangle. Bumper to bumper still out of Escondido in the South 15 from before the 78 down past West Bernardo Drive before it lets you loose. And your coaster ride on Southbound 5, so heavy from La Costa down towards Loma Santa Fe Drive in Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on San Diego's rock station, Rock 105.3. The Mikey Show continues. Featuring Mikey. I may be a homo, but I'm an honest one. Eddie. I believe on the show, I am the expert on boots. I'm like chewy, fatty meat. Sean. Ever. I'm on MOB.com constantly. And Ashley. I'm your dress like this off. The show is 748. Mikey Show, Fear Factor at Clear Channel Worldwide right here in San Diego, 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. And we have a lot of spectators that came that just want to watch what we're doing out here this morning. If you're just tuning in right now, this Fear Factor deal is so that people can win tickets to go see the UFC event in Las Vegas next weekend.
And Eddie said, you said it's like one of the biggest ones they've ever done, right? It really is. I mean, anytime Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture are even on the card, it's a big thing. But them fighting for the third time is phenomenal. It's awesome. Plus, they get airfare. They get hotel accommodations, the whole thing. Yeah. So we've already eliminated one person, and that is Brianna. Real weak. Yeah. She was like, you know, she got grossed out by the first thing they had to do, which was eat hissing Madagascar cockroaches. And they were huge. Yeah. Yeah, they were. And Boston Rob's done it before, huh? That is just irking me out. There's one left. No, we've already named him. What do we name him? He's safe. His name is Sam. He's now a pet. He's not a food item. How did she come up with the names? How did it get named Sam? I don't know how Sam got his name, but I was just informed that that is... You named him? You look very familiar. You work here, right?
What is it? You're in promotion? Yeah. What radio station? KCB and Rock. Okay, okay. But I knew I'd seen you somewhere. Why Sam? I named them all. You named them all? What are the other names of them? William and Fred, and I don't remember the other one, but... Oh, real nice. Way to speak of the dead. Fred. No, I fed them. I gave them little carrots to everything. Wait, what were the names again? I'm sorry. William, Samuel, and Fred. Oh, okay, okay. So Samuel survived. Samuel survived. Yes. Okay. Well, not for long. Thank you. This next competition. Throw him in the blood. Leave Samuel alone. We have a bloodbath. It's a kiddie pool full of pig blood. There is a pump that is recirculating. Sean, if you saw this, it would put to shame any radio stunt you've ever seen assembled. This is incredible. This should win an award. It's a giant tube. Jay, how large would you say the tube is in diameter? That's a personal question. Thanks for asking. I don't want to talk about that. It's probably two and a half foot across, but then around it's probably like 60 inches. How long is the tube? Probably about 15 to 20 feet. I'm wearing my broke back jacket. I can ask those kinds of questions. All right.
So here's what the two remaining contestants have to do. We're going to go one by one. They will get into the pool of pig blood. They will have four keys. Each key is different and will unlock a different lock. All the way through the tube, he will find different locks. He will have to find the one that works, unlock it, and go further up the tube until he gets to the very end of the tube where he will slap his keys down. on a platform that says Rock 105.3 on it. We will time them with a stopwatch. The person with the quickest time is the winner. This will determine it all. And the tube, you've got to say, is up at an angle, so you're climbing upwards. You're climbing at a 45 degree angle up to the top of the platform, unlocking locks as you go along, while being drenched, by the way, with recirculated pig blood that is flowing down on you. Who knew you could buy pig blood at a store? Who said we bought it? Well, I talked to the people in promotions. Or did you? Well, I did, and they said they went to a Vietnamese store. Okay. Or did they? They did. All right. So, our first person to go through will be Eric. Eric, where are you? There you are. All right, Eric is the 32-year-old contestant. Now, he wants it. Big fan of UFC. He's an animal. Yes, you can tell. He clearly...
Like wiped the mat with Jesse in the first competition of eating the cockroaches. He did it in record time. I think Jesse's still chewing. I know. All right. Now, just to describe Eric. Oh, no. Eric is wearing really pretty gray socks. Yes. He's got on a pair of gray Dickie shorts. They look like Dickies. I don't know the actual brand, even though I'm very broke back. He's got on a white Hurley T-shirt. And, you know, he's your typical Rock 105.3 listener. He's got stuffed piercings in the face. And you're going to give this a shot, huh, Eric? Yeah. Ironically enough, he loves Celine Dion. That's right. Remember this, Eric. All these keys are different. So you may try one key in that master lock, and it may not work. You will have to continue to try the right key until you get it right. Climb up to the top of the tube. and slam the keys down at the platform at the very end, okay? The person with the quickest time is going to UFC. Can you do it? Oh, yeah. How confident are you? Very. You got some ba-dee-ba-doop? Ba-dee-ba-doop. Ka-dunk-ka-dunk? Ka-dunk. All right. Nice. I don't need that here. I am going to move back now because there is going to be some splashing of pig blood going on. Get your broke back jacket away. Thank you, Sky. That's got to be so cold. Yeah, cold and bloody. So what, on the count of three, Jay is going to drop the keys.
He will have to fish them from the blood and begin working his way up the tube. One. Oh, man. Two. Three. Oh, here we go. The timer's on. He picked them up. He's got them. He's working the first key. Does the first key work the first lock? He's decided no. Moved on to the second key. He's trying the second key. He's got to have a sense of urgency. He's got that lock unlocked, and he's working his way up the tube. He is battling through pig blood at this very moment. He has found the next lock. He's trying the key on it. Does that one work? Quickly, he has to make the decision because he's got to make his way through three more locks and beat the time of the second contestant, Jesse. I'd be claustrophobic in there. Got another one. Oh, he's up again. All right, he's got the second lock. He's working his way to the third lock. He's working his way up the tube. Jesse is looking on very, very worried. Will his time be quicker than this time? Yeah, he's moving pretty good. The person with the quickest time working their way through the four locks is going to Las Vegas.
To see the UFC event. And somebody's cell phone is going off. Okay. All right. Uncomfortable. All right. Let's look down. I'm going to look down the top of the tube. You can see that he has tried three locks that didn't work. He's now working his way up to the fourth lock. Got the third lock and lock. Work his way up to the fourth lock. There's only one key left. I don't know what. Come on, man. I don't know how he did this. But there it is. He's got it. Stop the stopwatch. We got it. How much time? Oh, look at that. Let me read that. Holy cow. He did that in one minute, nine seconds. One minute. Official time. Nine seconds and 78 tenths of a second. Oh, his shirt stained red. Oh, brutal. He looks like he was an extra from the movie Carrie. Yes, he has definitely earned his red wings today. That's right. All right, let's do this, Eddie. It's really strange. Does he look like Scott Peterson on Christmas Eve? Thank you. Oh, God. Sean! No! Sean! Sean! Sean! All right, let's do this. Let's take a break. We come back, and Jesse will have a shot at the tube of blood. We will be back. It's the Mikey Show on Rock 105.3. You're listening to the Mikey Show. You've only got a couple of hours left. If you're going to pull a party out of your ass, you might want to stand up.

Still finding some brake lights in our freeways here this morning. Kind of tough in spots, but not too bad in others. We've got South Onset of the 5. You've got the usual store down hanging on here out of Lucadia down towards Solana Beach.
A little past that, though, you're going to find a medical cruise responding to an injury crash, South 5, just before Genesee. No big slowdown around there quite yet, but it could be slow once you get down there. We've got southbound 7 of the 15, bumper-to-bumper still. You know what? Actually, it's easing up now, still approaching Auto Parkway down at West Bernardo Drive, and it lets you loose. The westbound 8, seeing a few brake lights here still from Waring Road. That actually continues pretty heavy in past the 805, all the way in past Texas. So that's a bit of a rough ride in that section. The westbound 94 King Freeway, also heavy from Kelton all the way to downtown. And then you've got both the 5 and the 805 northbound out of the South Bay. Still plenty of brake lights on these freeways, so it is easing up a little bit out of Chula Vista and the National City, looking better. 805 still backed up heavily toward the 94. You're good to go through North Park and the Mission Valley, but you will hit the heavy ride once again out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over the 52. I'm Rick Lawrence on San Diego's Rock Station, Rock 105.3. The Mikey Show continues, featuring Mikey. I don't know, Mikey. Eddie. My birthday's April 8th. Drinky, drinky, drinky. Sky. Well, I'm not a cheater. I'm very, like, against cheating. She won 67. Oh, my God. Headphone court. My headphone court. The Mikey Show's on. Come on, let's get going. Rock 105.3. Show Fear Factor taking place outside of the Clear Channel compound at 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. And we have already seen some hissing Madagascar cockroaches consumed. Yummy.
We just saw somebody climb through the tube of pig blood, and we're going to see somebody else crawl through the tube of pig blood. The first winner, or the first guy to do it, was the winner. Are you already pronouncing yourself the winner? Yeah, I'm the first winner. Describe what that experience was like. Very cold. Very cold. Uncomfortable just knowing what it was. That's kind of... Right. Psychologically, was it a little weird? A little weird. Did it get in your mouth at any time? Uh... Yeah, a little bit. Splashes. Attaboy. What it tastes like? There's a lot of pennies in your mouth, I would guess. Yeah. All salty. All right, Eddie. What? Take it down a notch. What did I say? Okay, now, his time was 1 minute 9 seconds and 78 tenths of a second. That's a great time. That's a good time. Now, what he's going to have, the next contestant is Jesse. And remember, this is for UFC tickets, man. Next weekend in Las Vegas, you get a trip with airfare, the hotel accommodations, and tickets to see UFC. James, or Jesse, what do you think? Jesse James? Did you say Jesse James? Mike! His name is Jesse. We're here with Laura. Jesse, what were you thinking as you were watching Phyllis over there work his way through the tube of pig blood? I mean, it's only two names. I better get the keys right. That's a good thing to be thinking.
You've got to unlock four sets of locks as you climb at a 45-degree angle through a tube of pig blood that is raining pig blood down inside the tube. You're going to start in a pool of pig blood, which, by the way, now that it's been moved around, has frothed up. Why is it foamy? No. It's frothed up. It's frothed up. I mean, Sean should know these things. Sean, when you've dealt with it in the tub in your basement, why has it frothed up? Well, anytime you add oxygen to blood, it's going to do that. Thank you, Sean. P1 Jesse, are you ready? Yeah, let's do this. You have one minute, nine seconds, and 78 tenths of a second time to beat. Go ahead and get yourself into the pool of pig blood. Jesse in business attire. Cheer him on, everybody.
Looks like he's going to be a waiter later someday, someplace. El Pollo, blood-o. Yes. On the count of three. Oh, he's putting the hood on. One, two, three. He's dropped the keys. Jay's dropped the keys, and Jesse picked them up already. He is working for the first tube. Working the first tube. Who's got the timer? Who's got the timer? There's the timer. Let me look at the timer. We are already at 12 seconds. We're at 12 seconds. All right, he is working the first key. Got a hustle. Got a hustle. He has now unlocked the lock. He is working his way into the tube. He is to the second lock. He's now going to take the keys. We don't know which one will unlock which lock. So he's going to have to go through the set of keys to find the right one. Eric is watching slowly. He's got the second one. He's got the second one unlocked. He's working his way to the third. Oh, he's a little big for that, too. Working his way to the third. Where is my stopwatch? Bring the stopwatch. I want to see where we're at. A minute and nine is the time to beat. We're at 43 seconds. Come on, man. Oh, my. He has roughly 20 seconds to make his way up to the top. And Timer Kid, I want you right by me. Timer Kid. Come here, Timer Kid. We are at 45 seconds. He's on his last one. Over here, Timer Kid. It's going to be close. It's going to be close. Come over here. New on NBC this summer. Timer Kid. Minute seven. Minute eight.
A minute nine. Sorry. By what? What's the time? It wouldn't have mattered. It wouldn't have mattered. The keys went down one second after Eric. You are a winner. I got to tell you, that was not. I mean, that was so close. That was amazing because of how close it was. His time was a minute, 10 seconds. Eric was freaking out the whole time. He was watching so intently. Everybody, watch your language. Please remember to watch your language. Dude, how stoked are you? Stoked. Dude. Chuck Liddell. Randy Couture 3. Yeah. That's pretty awesome, dude. And he's a fan. He is a fan. I'm in on that. So you've got a flight there. You've got hotel accommodations at what I consider to be the best place there. That's my favorite place to stay in Vegas, in Mandalay Bay. And you get to watch the thing. And so congratulations, bro. Thank you very much. Rock, rock.
There you go. Apparently fear is not a factor for you. That is right. We will take a break and be back. It is the Mikey Show. It's Rock 105.3. Virtues I dislike, cases I admire. I'm McLaurin's on San Diego's rock station, Rocket 053. Mikey Show. Let me find him. Let me do it. What's up, Mikey? It's P1 Johnny. What's up, Johnny? Two quick things, man. One, thanks for all the info about sleep train, man. I just bought mine yesterday. You got a sleep train mattress? Dude, just yesterday. Sleep comfort, man. Oh, you got the select comfort. Yeah, select comfort, man. I slept for 13 hours, and I've never done that before. Oh, my God. Dude, and I'm telling you, like, I wake up to, listen, it's a good thing. But it's also a bad thing because you're not going to want to get out of bed. You get on one of those mattresses, you don't want to get out of bed. That's true. They are so damn comfortable. That's great, dude. And they take your old set out and all that? Yep. Yep. That's what they do. That's awesome. Thank you very much, man. Not a problem, dude. We'll see you. Now back to the Mikey Morning Show. Mikey on the radio. I'm glad you said that because they measured me in a 5'8 1⁄2". Oh, here we go. Coolest stunts I've ever been a part of in my radio career. Oh, man. That was really amazing what just went on outside. It is 815. Partly cloudy today. High temperatures from the low to mid 60s. Camp Pendleton's 47 right now. Coronado's 52 degrees. Tiger did pretty good yesterday. He shot one under at the Buick round two about underway. We have an extraordinarily good amount of time to be able to rap about whatever. So your phone calls about anything you want at 5701053. Is there anything good on television on a Friday night? Well...
You watch some lunatic thing on a Friday night that no one else in the world watches. I do enjoy me some Ghost Whisperer as well as Numbers. Ghost Whisperer? Those are two shows I do enjoy on Friday. Remember that Jennifer Love Hewitt show? Yes, and also Numbers is on on Friday night. But tonight they're actually re-airing that Jamie Foxx special thing that was on the other night. So if you missed it or if you want to see it. That's on tonight. Thank you. Skye, was there another radio station trying to disrupt us while we were out there? I don't know if they were trying to disrupt us, but, you know, they were definitely poking around out there. What were they doing? Poking around, looking, you know, checking out what we got going on, and then also, for some reason, carrying a quantity of their t-shirts around our listeners. I don't know. Really? I don't know if it had anything to do with anything. May have just been a coincidence, but it's interesting. Channel 93.
defend myself, I will. There's nothing to defend. But it's never fun. Points. It's never fun. They want to see how it's done right, so... Do you want Angel? Yes. Hi, Mikey. I'm new in town, and since I moved down here six months ago, you're the only radio station I watch or listen to. As it should be. As it should be. And I've never listened to talk shows before until you guys. Anyway, and I'm a Catholic. So, I want to know... I'm a big fan of the UFC, and I want to know where would you go to watch the UFC next weekend here in town, like a sports bar? That's a great question, and there's a few places that are really cool. Let me give you to our sports guy, Eddie. Well, the one place I know that I would go is a place called The Bullpen, which is right next door to Cheetah's on Claremont Mesa Boulevard. Cool bar. Yep, that's one place, and it's on Claremont Mesa. Okay, I'm going to write this down.
It's the bullpen, okay? And I got to move on, but I want you to write that down and I want you to check it out. Is that the only one? See, it's places showing the UFC, which is tough because we could tell you sports bars all day. Whether or not they're going to be showing the UFC event, I just don't know. Because, you know, it could obviously cost them money and that kind of deal. Yeah. You think bullpen would be the only one? It's the only one that we know of. There's other ones, but that's the one we know of for sure. All right. Thank you. P1 Vicky. Yeah. Yes. Hey, Mikey, I wanted to let you know that I take my kids to school every morning, and they just absolutely love The Mikey Show. They can't wait until they get in the car and we turn it on and see what's going on. They especially love to listen to tone-deaf karaoke with Ashley. Yes. How old are the kids? How old are they? Yeah. They're 8 and 10. All right. Aw. Yeah, and they really like that game where, like you guys did with Ashley, where you did... This guy's 8 and 10 too young to be listening.
Is that okay? Let's see. That's a tough call. I mean, I think on average it's okay, but there's some times that we'll touch on some racy stuff. We're certainly not a dirty show, but we talk about things that adults, you know, it's adult conversations. But I'm sure mom monitors that, and if she hears us going in an area, you know, she can turn it off. Vicki, do you do that? Do you monitor to make sure that, you know, they're not hearing something they shouldn't? You know, most of the time you guys are pretty cool. You know, every once in a while you hit on something and I have to... Say, okay, well, you know, maybe we should not listen to that part, you know? I got you. Well, thank you, Vicki. You're a good P1. Thanks, guys. All right. Bye. We'll see you. P1 Big Mike. What's up, Mikey? What's up? Hey, Sky, I got a question for you. Oh, no. Okay. Doesn't it go against all your dirty hippie morals to, like, be using animals and their blood in that fashion? What do you mean, dirty hippie morals? I mean, what is that exactly? That exactly. A confident news girl.
Exactly. The blood in the stunt, I don't really object to too much because people use that. They eat that. They use it to cook with. They eat pig blood? Yeah. It was bought in a store. We'd get it at the Vietnamese market. Or was it? It's not like we slaughtered a pig. Or did we? I would have a problem with that. but I was kind of upset about the eating of the cockroaches. I didn't really appreciate that. Hippie, hippie, hippie. Thank you. I take that as a compliment. I am sick and tired of marijuana planting dope smoking hippies. The Office is the best show on television. If you don't watch it, I don't want to know yet. My wife now does a thing that I usually don't participate in this where she does this thing where she kind of treats me like a child and she talks to me like a little kid and I usually don't participate in it unless it has to do with the office. And then she goes, five more minutes and I go, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's the only time I participate in it is when the office is coming on because she knows I geek out over the show. It's so brilliantly written, brilliantly funny. The episode last night was about somebody crapped in Michael's office. He was wondering if maybe he wasn't as popular around the office as he thinks. And you have to watch this show because the idea is that he is not popular.
You stink in there. My God. What is that? How could that happen? Right in the middle of the carpet. What's going on? Somebody vomited right in the middle of the carpet in my office. I don't think that's vomit. Check it out. Me? Check it out. We have a pipe burst and left that there. There's no burst pipe. How do you know that? What is it then? Hey, guys. Somebody making soup? Cream is the best, man. I love... I love Pam's reaction. I do love Creed. How about Michael and Dwight going around the office being the pranksters last night? He walks up and punches Creed in the arm. Charlie Horse! Charlie Horse! So funny. Michael, why did you punch me? You shouldn't have punched me. He whips off his glasses like, what the
You shouldn't have punched me. Well, he finds out that it was his old buddy, Todd. Oh, man. Cut 19. How did you get this number? Packster. Packster. Wacky pack. How you doing? Did anybody see a package here today? No. How big was it? Really? Did you see a big package? Where did you leave it? Really? Guys, did you see a big package in my office? You mean the thing? Oh, you're... You are dead. You are dead, my friend. That is hilarious. Oh, God. That means no one in the office hates him. Oh, I love that show. Sky, you T-vote? Oh, yeah. I'm going to watch that as soon as I get home. The show is a voicemail that Pam leaves for Jim. No, I thought it was seven. Did it say seven messages? I thought it was five. Seven. Seven? Seven messages. Seven messages. She leaves him. It's because...
is in Michael's office, Michael has to use Jim's desk, and so Jim is moved out where he can't normally look at Pam and talk to Pam. And so Pam is bummed that he's not sitting there. Yeah, going through Jim withdrawals. So she's leaving him messages on his voicemail throughout the day. But what's great about it is that throughout the whole episode, Jim keeps seeing her with her fiance. And so he keeps trying to avoid him. He's bummed out the whole episode. Like, he's so sad. Right. And then he, like, He tries to get her attention when she leaves. He doesn't even get to say goodbye. He's really upset. He goes and checks his messages, and it's all her calling him throughout the day thinking about him. So it makes him feel way better. And the messages are very good friends, but they're fun, which makes it even more. At one point, one of the messages from her is, Thunder Mifflin, can I help you? Yes. And then she goes, sorry. So it's great.
I love that. Pam and Jim, to me, is the most realistic relationship on television. Absolutely. It's unbelievable. To the point, I'm falling asleep last night, and as I'm falling asleep, I say to my wife, do you think that Pam likes Jim, too? And she gives me her whole philosophy on how she thinks that that. I want to hear Paula Abdul talking about Simon Cowell getting real pissed off and walking off the set of America. A show, by the way, which averages 35 million people. Joey and the girlfriend. Oh. Joey that we know? Yes. Joey says, dude, I'm watching American Idol. If you didn't see it the other day, Simon Cowell walked off the set. He got all mad. So on Entertainment Tonight, Paul Abdul was talking about it. Cut 10. The truth is, not only did he leave, but he left and took the plane home. So what do you have to say to him now? He just had a day. But you know what? Then we went to the next city.
Asking as if nothing happened. The auditions continue next Tuesday on Fox in Las Vegas, and I just had to ask. Did Simon stick around in Vegas for all the auditions? I didn't complain about sleeping the night before because he was out all night at those, you know, kind of things that I would know nothing about. Lighten up, lighten up. Now, of course, everything's fine between Mr. Mean and me, at least for now. Have you seen Paul Abdul on those shows before? Entertainment Tonight? Yeah, it's not like... They're interviewing her. They like go to her like she's their American Idol correspondent. And then she says crap like that. Like she talks to the camera going, okay, Mr. Mean, you're not going to get a part of me next week. And it's like so awkward and horrible. Cheese ball. Yes. That is very cheese ball. And what was up in that clip with her being, oh, Simon stayed out all night at those clubs that I would know nothing about. Contrary. Right. Okay, weirdo.
movies are coming out this weekend? Let me get my little list here. I know there is, what is it called? Big Mama's House 2. All the unanswered questions from Big Mama's House 1. Lots of people are talking about it. I'm seeing it everywhere, but I don't know. I'll have to freshen up with Big Mama's House 1 before I go. Annapolis out today with Tyrese and the dude who was also in Spider-Man. Yeah. And then I know you're looking forward to this one, Mikey. Nanny McPhee out today. How many times are those commercials? Emma Thompson. How many times did we see that last night? Seriously, man. Yeah. So those are the three out today. Emma Thompson, isn't it? She's Nanny McPhee. She's Nanny McPhee. Oh, they got a lot of makeup on her. Yeah. I didn't even recognize her. Yeah. She's the lady. A man tried to urinate on... Lars Ulrich from Metallica in Houston. I knew that would make Boston Rob laugh. He loves when people try to injure others in a slapstick way. That's just comedy. Okay, so what happened, Skye? So Lars was at a bar in Houston hanging out, and I guess there was this local musician there named Bill Fool. I'm sorry? Bill Fool? Gotcha. Anyways.
name. And I guess this guy is kind of known for his crazy stage acts where he, you know... Well, he acts like a fool. Yeah, where he, like, whips it out and does a whole bunch of gross stuff and stuff. Hey. Oh, man. Excuse me while I whip this out. Well, I don't know a better way to say that. I don't know. Exposes himself. Thank you. Now, Sky decided to go with... And he just whips it out. Tomato, tomato. Anyway... Excuse me while I whip this out. So the people at the bar said it was obvious that Bill Fool was totally intoxicated. And he went and approached Lars and exposed himself. And then, you know, they believe that he was about to urinate on him when he was quickly escorted out of the bar. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And that's pretty much the end of the story. I guess some people caught a few. pictures of it on their camera phone, and they say that those pictures are posted at blabbermouth.net. Ashley is riveted by your story. Well, what is she doing? Not wearing her headphones, eating oatmeal. Well, she's in the middle of something. You could do both. It's very easy, actually. No, it isn't. Look at her. I'll show you. Smartass.
I know you know everything, but I will show you. She's busy right now. She can't put her headphones on. She can't talk, can she? Yes. She can talk right now? Yes. Oh, she says she can. I'll show her afterwards. Okay. Oh, really? Okay. No, you're right. You know everything. Oh, bring it in. Bring it in. You know everything. Bring it in. Let's not fight. My bad. I've only been doing this 14 years. Sorry, cup of coffee. I'll show you. Oh, come on. I really irritated my wife last night. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now, and I can't tell if she thinks it's funny or whatever, but she'll walk out of the room when I start doing it. I start talking for the cat, and I do it in a retard voice, and it bothers her because it's her cat. Maybe it's the stuff I say. I don't know. But it really bugs her. Her retarded cat, Jules. Special needs, please. That's what she says, too. These special needs. He's retarded. And so she'll be sitting there, and he'll start calling on her. I go, hey, Mom.
I'm not broke up with Mike yet. Oh, no. Eddie's going to lose it. Eddie's going to lose it. I work with retards. I'm right in the middle of a bit. I'm rolling with it. I'm so sorry. I've got some momentum going. You just got to the funny part about breaking up with Mike. And here it comes. Look at Eddie right now. Eddie looks like he wants to. TNT. He's like trying to go to his happy place, but he has the internal battle right now. Channel it into the tennis game. Oh, no. Channel it into the tennis game. We're going to speak without anger, Andy. We're speaking without anger here. Well, here's the thing. Yes, nice, calm, soothing voice. Yes. Not only does she ruin a bit. Oh, no. But the irritation factor at me. Right, right, right. Because she feels that she can't do what she just did. Right. Yes, yes.
What is she spewing out of my body right now for her? You're doing good. Ashley, what are you eating? Some fat-free yogurt with a banana slice and some granola. This is what's going on during the show. Yeah, she's in there and I look over at her and she's just kind of listening to the show, checking out, maybe listening to the show and eating breakfast. Never again. It will never happen again because I just figured it out. You know what I make? I'll tell you why it'll never happen again. I have finally realized I can't do that. I just realized it today. Like, I finally came to this decision. Are you going to apologize for me? Yes, Eddie. I'm sorry. I'm genuinely sorry. And I thank you. Isn't it amazing that you don't know everything? Yeah. You know what? It blows you away, huh? You know what? You're absolutely right. And I apologize for you.
And I love you, and I'm sorry. You want Aaron? You suck. Aaron, are you there? Yes. Go ahead. What did you want to ask? I was telling B-Rob about that new movie that's coming out today, Bubble, where they're releasing it on screen, cable, and DVD all at the same time, thinking that they might make more money that way. Eddie, have you heard of Bubble? Never. What is it? Who's in it? What is it? I don't think anybody real popular is supposed to be in it, but... I know that it's like some kind of mystery murder thing that somebody came up with. It's a new thing that they want to release it all in all three venues all at the same time. All right, I have information on it right now. Actually directed by a big-time director, Steven Suddenberg. And the plot outlined, residents of a small town in Ohio puzzle out the details of a murder which took place at the local toy factory. It does not star anybody very big. In fact, it stars nobody of any note, except for the director. It's the only guy that's, like, a big name. I haven't heard of this. I'll have to check it out, dude. Okay. Thank you. I'm into movies, so I like hearing about stuff like that. Are we late, Eddie? Not at all. Okay, so, okay, we can go till, this is like the 30 break, right? Mm-hmm. Okay. Joaquin Phoenix flipped his car over yesterday. Say what? Yeah. But he got up and walked away from it, right, Sky?
Yeah, he was driving yesterday, and I guess they say his brakes went out. Pretty crazy. Yeah. What's your theory, Sky? Well, I mean, it was interesting, because they say his brakes went out. He collided with another vehicle. His car flipped over. Somebody else stopped, like a good Samaritan, and helped him out of the car. But nobody called the police or filed a police report or anything like that. And he just got out of rehab? Did he just get out of rehab? Remember he went to rehab and then he came out and he issued that statement how he's not really an alcoholic. He would never call himself an alcoholic. He just didn't want to drink anymore. Remember that weird thing we talked about? Right. Yeah. So he was wearing his seatbelt and walked away from the scene without any major injuries and no shenanigans. But like I said before, no police were called to the scene. No police report was taken.
If anyone involved was doing something shady, there was no one there to call him on it. I wonder if it's hard for him to go to, like, Alcoholics Anonymous or something like that because he's such a big celebrity. He's not an alcoholic, though, he said. Yeah, so maybe he doesn't think that he needs to go to anything like that. Right. Yeah, so this happened just before 3 o'clock yesterday. He was traveling eastbound above the Sunset Strip in L.A. The guy said there's a magazine that just... released The Hottest Hunks on TV. Oh, it's true. And Hottest Hunk on TV is from the show Lost, but maybe it would surprise you who it is, right? True. It was a list done by InTouch Magazine where they put together The Hottest Hunks on TV. So is it like top 10, top 5? I got top 10. What do you want to hear? Let's hear the top. Yeah, let's hear the top 10.
Okay, coming in at... No, no, no. Coming in... At number 10, we have Tom Welling of Smallville. You know, guy who plays... Okay. Number 9, Matthew Fox. No, he's cute. From Lost. Doesn't that surprise you? He's not the number one. He's number nine. Mm-hmm. Number one will be... The little black boy that plays Walt, I bet. Don't give it away. You ever seen a grown man naked? Number eight, Sherman Moore of Criminal Minds. Where's Hurley? I don't know. Number seven, Patrick Dempsey. He's number 11, 12, and 13. Number seven is Patrick. 37 through 52. Patrick Dempsey from Grey's Anatomy. Number eight is Eddie... Number eight? I'm sorry, number six, Eddie Ciberon. How do you pronounce his last name? From Invasion. He was the same guy who was on Tilt. You don't know that? I find I have no feelings in my buttocks. I wish I had a time machine. You want to know why? He's way hot. You want to know why? Why? I'd go back in time and ask for the top five. Number five. Gentlemen, please rest your sphincters. Number five should be number one, in my opinion. Wentworth Miller from Prison Break.
Oh, he's so hot. Wentworth. Wentworth, Miller. Wentworth, Miller. That's correct. I'm number five. Wentworth. Will you be playing parlor today, Wentworth? May I have a word with you, please, Wentworth? He's so hot. I'll meet you in the parlor. In my office immediately, Wentworth. Yes, I've a few words to discuss with you, Wentworth. Wentworth, in my chambers. Ah, I didn't expect this. It's Wentworth, I... Unexpected. Wentworth. Have a seat, Wentworth. It's just a name. Stand over the X, Wentworth. It's not a trapdoor. I see none of your friends are here to help now, are they? Wentworth. If it isn't my arch nemesis, Wentworth. Welcome to my lair, Wentworth.
I'm sure you're looking for the antidote, aren't you, Wentworth? Find it now. So you think you're going to put a stop to my diabolical plan, Wentworth? I bet you're looking for that trusty utility belt now, aren't you, Wentworth? I see you, I Wentworth. Are we done now? He only came in at number five. Wentworth. Yes, Wentworth. Slipping in the hot category, are we? Do you expect me to talk? And soon you will. The sand runs out, Wentworth. No one got scared. One get scared and runs out. Do you see this hourglass, Wentworth? All right, please.
Number four, David Boreanza of Bones. What the hell are you talking about? That's not how you say his name. I'm just guessing already. David Boreanza. How do you say it? Well, spell it out. There's UCS-Z-A at the end. Yeah, look at the big Brian on Sky. Well, there's A-Z at the end. I know you reversed it. That don't make it Arizona, sweetheart. Number three, Jared Padalecki. Oh, my. You are unable. Stick to Wentworth. Wentworth. From Supernatural, number two, John Stamos from Jake in Progress. And the number one hottest hunk on TV is Josh Holloway from Lost. Thank you. How about that, Sky? Do you think that that's right? Let me tell you something. I bet Matthew Fox is quietly irritated at that. His co-star in Lost. Quietly irritated. He's only number nine. And when he's asked about it, he's like, oh, well, please. I mean, of course Josh deserves that. And in his head, he's like, F is up with that. Yeah. I find that list very racist. Why? Are there any black dudes on there? Yeah. I don't know. Rames. Yeah. Sky, I would expect people would be upset by that. Yeah, Sky, I thought you'd be in an uproar.
There's quite a few hot guys on here. You know me. I'm not about color. Yeah, but none of them are black and you like blacks. Hey, look, Sky. Look, Sky. There's a black guy in a cave that wants to say something about this. In a cave? You're on the Mikey Show. He's stupid and messed with the box. Nobody will stop messing with Mikey's equipment. Until for the notice. Bravo. So there's your list. There it is. Nicole Kidman is going to be a U.N. ambassador. That is a true statement. Whoa. You know what we should do? We should do a thing. Like, we should do a thing where, like, you know, which story is true? I could have said, okay, which story is true? Joaquin Phoenix flipped his car over, body parts at times. Nicole Kidman is a U.N. ambassador. You know, which of those stories is true? Turns out two of them are true. Joaquin Phoenix did flip his car. Nicole Kidman's going to be a U.N. ambassador. For, if I understand correctly, big...
Her big, what's the word I'm looking for? Platform. Violence against women. Yeah, women's rights. So she's very excited. She said this was the way she was raised. You know, they always had political conversations at the dinner table. And her father always told her that she needs to be involved. She shouldn't be a voyeur, but she should be a participator. So, of course, everybody is asking Nicole Kidman questions. Oh, so will you work with Angelina Jolie, who's a goodwill ambassador? as well, but she said, no, we have different issues, whatever. A little gossip tidbit, because, you know, there's been rumors going around that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban had called their engagement off, but Nicole Kidman at her UN ambassador press conference yesterday was still wearing that fat rock on her ring finger. Really? Yep. I wonder why she'd call it off anyway. Why? Because he's a womanizer.
How do you know that he's a womanizer? You believe everything. Tried and convicted in the court of Skye already. Well, that's what they're reporting as her reason for. Yeah, but when you said it right now, you said it with an air. You had that Skye believes this. Dude, I don't even know who Keith Urban is. I couldn't tell you one of his songs or whatever. But that's what the reports say, that he went back to his womanizing ways, and that's why she left him. But she was wearing the rock yesterday, so. All right, before Sky announces this, I'm going to have a guess at who some of these could be before she tells us. Okay. Theater owners across the country. Theater. Theater. Theater and then to the buffet. Fident News Girl. Theater owners across the country have put together their list of the top money-making stars. Eddie, who could they be? I don't have to do it in any order, but. This is hurting my Brian. All right, Sky. Just got a Brian freeze. I will say.
Like, how many can I list? Why don't you give five if you want. Okay, I'm going Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford. Now, you're listing all men, you know. You're right, I am. Okay, Harrison Ford. I wonder if, see, this list could be tricky. Because if I were seeing who has made the most, I would put that kid Daniel Radcliffe in there who is Harry Potter. Know what I mean? Yeah, top money-making stars. But I don't think that's the spirit of the question. I don't believe so either. So, and I would also put Chewbacca in there, but any hoot. Things will draw people to the movies. I understand. I understand. I will say Adam Sandler. My fifth star will be... You're not going to put one broad on your list? No. Because they don't draw people into giant movies. Yeah, chicks don't make the big openings? Not really. I mean, there's...
Julia Roberts and maybe Reese Witherspoon, they have decent draws. Nobody else. And so most of the guys are the guys that, you know, the action stars. Mel Gibson. What did he get in the top five? Well, I have a list of the top ten. And four of Eddie's five are in the top ten. Okay. Can I guess one real quick? Yeah, go ahead. Brad Pitt. Yeah, it's a good one, isn't it? Not really. He's not a big draw. Will Smith. Great one. Will Smith. Great one. I'll say Will Smith. All right, you guys ready? Yeah. Wait, wait, wait. I want to think of anybody that may have been forgotten. Jamie Foxx? Jamie Foxx. No. He opens big. Stealth. Stealth didn't open big. And what movies has he made that have made over $100 million? Didn't Ray make... Ray. Maybe, I think. I don't even think it made over $100 million. No, it didn't, in fact. Are you sure? Yeah. I know that this is going to sound crazy, but since we're talking top 10...
I think that Sandra Bullock movies have made a lot, haven't they? They probably have, but I don't know that that's, if she's going to make it into a top 10 list. Top money-making stars. Okay, Sky. All right, coming in at number 10, Tom Hanks. Number 10? That's incredible. He should be number way higher. That's very insulting. Maybe like five years ago. All his movies, whenever they come out, make money. Okay. I don't know. I don't think the draw is still there. Like, yeah, five, ten years ago, oh, yeah. He's about to be in Da Vinci Code. Yeah, and that's going to make a huge, but not because of him. Partly. Oh, I would say absolutely partly because of him. There's three things about that movie that are going to make it the money. The story, the director, the main actor. Number nine, Adam Sandler. Oh. Ooh, and Johnny Depp, too. Did you say Adam Sandler? I said Adam Sandler. Okay, yeah. Johnny Depp, too. That's another guess I have. No, Ashley put Johnny Depp. I don't think so, either. Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt. Because until Pirates of the Caribbean, that guy has not been in it. That's what I was going to say. He does a lot of small independent movies. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Yeah, that one now. Blow. That was not a hit. Number eight, Reese Witherspoon. Yeah, that makes sense. Number seven, Will Smith. Good guess. Number six, George Clooney. Really?
Don't he make a ton of dough? Yeah, what are they? I mean, Ocean's Eleven. Yeah, he either does smart movies or like, you know. Blockbusters. Yeah, blockbusters. I don't know about that. Number five, Vince Vaughn. Oh. You're kidding me. No, these guys, his name will bring people in. See, you got to think of those comedies that people go see. But I mean, Wedding Crashers and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. But he wasn't the star of that. Yeah, so I'm trying to think. I don't think he's the draw. But I think he now will be a draw. Is Ben Stiller going to be on this list? He should be before Vince Vaughn, because Ben Stiller movies are huge. Yeah, Meet the Parents. Yeah. Along Came Pauly. Along Came Pauly. Number four, Brad Pitt. Really? Hoo-yah! So what are the movies? Give me the Brad Pitt movies that are making all the dough. Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Uh-huh. What else? What else? Yeah, I mean, what are the movies that Brad Pitt... He was in that huge movie that cost millions. Troy? Troy? Troy was actually a financial flop. Yeah. He was in... Okay, I got them all. I got all his movies right here. Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Ocean's 12, Ocean's 11. Okay. You say Troy, no. But is Brad Pitt the draw of Ocean's 11?
I mean, that's an ensemble cast. Yeah, but don't you think he has a lot to do with it, right? I don't know. I mean, that to me is more George Clooney's movie than it is Brad Pitt's. In the 90s, I think he had some movies a lot of people were going to see. Fight Club. Yeah. But again, Fight Club didn't make a lot of money. It didn't make a lot of money. All right. Coming in at number three, Angelina Jolie. Really? Oh, yeah. Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider. Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I'm not looking at this list like how much money have these actors made in movies in the past. Today, the buzz on these actors are huge. And if you put them in a starring role in anything, people will go. It doesn't matter. People will be there. That makes sense. Eddie, wouldn't you agree? That is a name. It depends what this list is. I don't get it. I believe the list is who will draw people to the movie theaters to spend their money today. Okay. That's a little bit different than what I thought it was. Right. I wouldn't put Harrison Ford on there. And listen to the movies because the movies have made a good amount of money. Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Who are we talking? Angelina? Angelina Jolie. Shark Tale. That made decent money, right? Yeah.
How about Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow? Did that make... No. No? That's nasty. Tomb Raider made a ton. Gone in 60 seconds. But today, the buzz is all about him. Yeah, today she's all about the buzz. Where's Will Ferrell then? I don't think the buzz is that big on him today. Are you kidding me? There's a buzz, but do those movies? After Elf and Kicking and Screaming? If Will Ferrell puts out a movie right now, you don't think it's going to be big? Yeah, I do. I do, but does he have a... He made money with Kicking and Screaming, which was awful. Anchorman. Anchorman. We're talking about today. We're not talking about, you know, four years ago. I see what Eddie's saying, though. You put Will Ferrell in a movie, you're definitely going to have a built-in audience, no doubt about it. But is it going to be a top ten built-in audience? You know what I mean? Like, yeah, they'll make their money bad. You know what I would say? I would say Will Ferrell is one big hit away from being not only in that list, but at the top of it. All right, number two.
Johnny Depp. Yes, two for two. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, right? Pirates of the Caribbean. Blow. Stop with that. Ashley. He was in Blow. Yes, he was. He was, but that movie was not very popular. It's popular. It's popular at my apartment. We've seen it at 10 a day. I own it. All right. And the number one, it's not going to be a surprise to anyone. No, and I was looking at him on the Internet Movie Database. Okay? Yeah. Because I go to that site a lot. If you've never been to imdb.com, you should. Because you can really track a person's career. Tom Cruise has only made, in his career, now, you have to understand how many movies people make. Eddie, you don't have in front of you, do you? Or do you? I'm loading it right now. No, don't. Don't load it. Don't look. Don't look. Don't look. Sorry.
big star. How many films do you think Tom Cruise has been in? I would say... Before you answer, because you're too good at this. Yeah, Eddie knows everything. Sky, are you looking at his page? No, I'm not looking at anything. You know that Tom Cruise is one of the biggest stars. Yeah, I would guess that. How many movies do you think he's been in? Maybe like 15? Now, I'm here to tell you that a busy actor, an actor that is working a lot, somebody like Robert Duvall, that's a big name actor who's been in a lot of movies. Guys like that have been in movies. It will surprise you, it won't surprise Eddie, that a lot of these guys have made something in the area of 50 to 60 to 70 movies in their time, been in those kinds of movies. That many. That's shocking to me. Eddie, how many movies do you think Tom Cruise has been in? Well, think about it. Tom Cruise is in one movie every two years, maybe, two, three years, because he films these blockbusters. He doesn't do a lot of...
Small movies. He doesn't do a lot of cameos in movies, which he gets credit for. One of the smallest roles he's ever had was Magnolia. And he was a supporting role. I would say Tom Cruise has been in 29 movies. You're so close. He's been in 33. The thing about it is, you look at any big actor, and you're going to see a lot of movies that you go, what is that? I don't even know what that is. Listen to the list of Tom Cruise movies. And you'll probably know every single... Not only will you know them, but they're some of the biggest movies ever. Early in his career, maybe not. His first movie ever was Endless Love, but I know what it is. It's a Brooke Shields movie. Next, Taps. Great movie. Now, if anybody does not know one of these movies, let me know. If you don't know one of these movies. I don't know Taps. You don't know Taps? You've never heard of it. Oh, it's an awesome movie. Scott, you've never heard of it? Well, I know the song Taps, but I haven't heard it.
Does he tap dance? I want to know if anybody, if you're listening in the studio and you've never heard of one of these movies. The Outsiders. Losing it. That may be the only one that I can think, I haven't heard of. Really? Yeah. Shelly Long? All the Right Moves. Of course. Great movie. Legend. Bomb, but stupid, but yeah. You haven't heard of that one? Uh-uh. It's a fantasy. Bad. Have you ever heard of a movie called Top Gun? A little bit. The Color of Money. Cocktail. Kokomo. Young Guns. Rain Man. Born on the 4th of July. Days of Thunder. Far and Away. A Few Good Men. The Firm. You think this guy has a good agent? Mission Impossible. Jerry Maguire. Eyes Wide Shut. Magnolia. Mission Impossible 2. Vanilla Sky. Minority Report. He did a cameo as himself in Austin Powers. Goldmember.
That's weird. The Last Samurai. Collateral. War of the Worlds. He's working on Mission Impossible 3. Incredible... Resume. Resume, man. Wow. It's nuts. Doesn't surprise me. He's number one. He is a tool, though. Make no mistake about it. With much to be modest about. Ilsa, it's Luke. And I turn on the light, and the first thing I see is a plastic cup laying on the floor. And I look on my desk, which is covered in water, and my cell phone is floating in the water. And there's little paw prints. The thing that makes me crazy about it is that they don't do that. And you know why they don't? Because they know I don't like it. They know it's wrong. Cats know the difference between right and wrong. They know.
And they deliberately do the wrong thing, unlike a dog. A dog doesn't do that. Cats are innately evil. Well, that's not true. Skye, Skye, Skye. Skye, how many times have you come in here with ripped shreds of flesh? They're mischievous. Skye. They're mischievous. No bit here. All bits aside, you know cats are innately evil creatures. No, I do not believe that at all. They're wrongdoers. I do not believe that. I believe that they're curious and they like to get into stuff, but they're smart enough to know to do it when you're not around. Dogs are good doers. Good deeds. That's true. Dogs will run to you while you're stranded in the snow with a little barrel underneath their chin full of life-saving oxidants. Cats will eat your carcass after you've passed. They'll pick out your eye as you're dying. Dogs have been known to do that and cats have also been known to save people. Lies. If there's ever a known recorded case of a cat saving someone, it was by mistake. The cat didn't mean to save them. It was the result of something they were trying to do to get into trouble.
It's always that way. Cats are terrible creatures. No, they are not. They're full of love. And my wife said to me last night. I love them. We were laying in bed and I had that little one. She said, oh, look it, you love him. And I said, honey, I'm telling you that I don't love him. If he were. Listen to the best. I can't wait for you to have kids. I said, honey, I said, honey, I will tell you what I love. I love how his little carcass is warm and furry. Tile sensation touching him. Very much of the penguins. We hate you. That's what it is about to me, those cats, Sky. As a matter of fact, I said, not only do I not love him, I don't like him. We hate you. But what I do like is that he's warm. I like that. And I like that his fur feels good. I don't like...
personality of this creature. But I can understand how she would make that mistake because I like to pet him and I like the feeling of his fur. If only Toast had fur. Alright, you guys. I had a pretty funny story about my cat. My son and boyfriend were playing video games. The cat wanted to go outside. They didn't want to get up and play. Let him outside. So my cat went over and sprayed my son. That's evil. That's awful. That's awful, awful, awful. Why is that funny? Do you want to get urinated on? Is that funny? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? That's right. Ashley is screening calls for me. P1 Shaina. Shaina. Hang on, Shaina. Hang on. Eddie, how would you have spelled it? I would spell it out phonetically for you. Yes, because that would make sense. Do you want to know how she spelled Shaina? Please.
Kind of. What's wrong with that? Oh, no. Oh, boy. Shayna, what did you want to say? Okay, so... What did you do? You know, it's all about the celebrities and everything. Yeah. But then on, like, the very last page, there was this little story about a man who's in a wheelchair falls between his bed and his nightstand and his cat dials 911. Oh, now, do you think... I read that the other day. Do you think Shayna and Skye... that that cat knew what the emergency number was? Of course not. Yeah, he said he had trained it like a couple years ago. For speed dial. You can't train a cat. Yes, you can. That cat don't know what it's doing. You just said that your cats only cause mischief when you're not in the room because they're so smart that they know that you're not there. I say they know what they're doing. I don't say they're smart. They know what they're doing. And they know that you're not in the room, so that's the time to do it. So they're smart enough. My cats are trained, too. They know what's up.
Cats are trained to do what? Cook a brisket? Yeah. Yes. What are they trained to do? Vacuum while you're gone? Yeah. Can they go get a beer out of the fridge? Yeah. Because a dog can do that. I would like to train... Homemade ranch dip? Mm-hmm. I'd like to train our cats to do laundry. Don't call out my homemade ranch, you ass. What was your homemade ranch? One time we went over to her house for a party. Oh, yeah. And she... There's ranch dip. She goes, hey, check it out. Homemade ranch dip. I go, what do you mean homemade? She goes, well, I put sour cream in with the packet. Like, that doesn't make it homemade. That's not homemade, Skye. Excuse me, I made it in my home. You're fantastical. One thing that I wanted to talk about was what happened yesterday on Oprah. Not because Oprah's a girly show or anything like that. It's just this topic has been big. James Fry wrote a book called A Million Little Pieces, which I actually got it for Ashley. Ashley, did you see Oprah yesterday? I saw half of it, the last half of it. You saw the last half? Yeah. A man. Well, the deal is that Oprah did a live broadcast yesterday because James Fry, who wrote this memoir called A Million Little Pieces, was discovered by the Smoking Gun website that many of the things that he said in the book were inaccurate. And a memoir is a memory of somebody's life, a portion of their life. It came out.
that some of the things that he said were not accurate for instance that he had been in jail for a much in the book he says for a much longer period of time than actually took place that's cut 14 how long were you in jail for a few hours not not the time not 87 days for those of you that don't know for those of you that don't know when this news came out obviously pretty embarrassing for the guy he lied and And he's on Larry King Live. Now, this is a few weeks ago when the news first broke that he lied in his memoir. Why Oprah? Why is Oprah involved? She loved his book and made it one of her big book club, Oprah's Book Club deals. And it sold millions and millions of copies after she announced it to be one of the greatest things ever. Yeah, she actually said that it was one of the best books she had ever read. Well, if you get onto that Oprah Book Club, man, you are...
In like Flint. Back up the Brinks truck and load it up with the dough. Because you've just become a millionaire from, you know, her loving your book. That's the kind of influence she has on literature in this country. People really think that when she says a book's great, that it really is. And they go out and they buy it. Sean, did your wife TiVo this? Did you see this at all? No, I didn't get to see it. Well, anyway, when the news broke... James Fry is on Larry King Live defending himself, and Oprah calls in to defend him. Cut 17. Everyone's been asking me to release a statement, and I first wanted to hear what James had to say. I've acknowledged that there were embellishments in the book, you know, that I've changed things. All right, well, what she ultimately says when she calls into Larry King Live is that the, and I'm paraphrasing here, but, overall tone of the book of overcoming your demons and overcoming addiction still resonates with her and people that read the book well when he comes on the show yesterday and it's being broadcast live and a lot of people wondering why did they do it live i can't tell you definitively the only reason i think that they did it live is to let the audience know that there will not be any editing of what she asks how she asks blah blah blah
When he comes on the show yesterday, she does a 180. And she apologizes to people for ever going on the Larry King show in the first place. And she says that she gave the impression that the truth doesn't matter and that she definitely doesn't feel that way and the truth does matter and then brings James Fry out and fries him. It was an ambush. There was no way in the world that James Fry knew that what was going to happen was that he was going to come out and she was going to let him have it. But I have to tell you what I thought of it.
And they put together a montage that they ran throughout the show, returning from commercial breaks, of various columnists from big-name publication magazines and newspapers in the country commenting on the effect it had on Oprah.
I mean, this guy, I'm telling you, I think it was a pretty turdy thing to do to lie in the memoir. But I'm sitting there going, you poor son of a bitch. Like, I mean, he looked like he wanted to cry and I don't blame him. He didn't know that that's what was going to happen. And it was rough. It was rough, man. To the point where I thought, who is watching this going, get him, Oprah. You let him have it, that lion effer. Like, it was a freaking book, Oprah. My wife read it. She goes, yeah. When I found out, I was like, oh, that sucks. Didn't change my life. She says, my wife goes, as a matter of fact, I still recommend it to people.
What now? Kingdom of Oprah? What now? And I'm telling you, man, let me...
Let me play a clip from this yesterday of one of the things that when he says, no, that wasn't exactly how it went down, there is a gasp from the audience that you'll hear. And Oprah, in almost a broken voice, goes, okay. It was about James Fry's girlfriend, Lily, who committed suicide in the book. This is Oprah and James Fry discussing that very matter. Cut four. Let's get back to Lily. Was your description of how she died true? She committed suicide, yes. She hung herself? I mean, that was one of the details I altered about her. Okay, and why? Because all the way through the book, I altered details about every single one of the characters to render them unidentifiable.
Oprah is looking at him like, Why does that matter? Yeah. And, by the way, my wife said he answered her question. Yeah, exactly. He answered the question. He said, I did it because I wanted to render the characters unrecognizable. Right, which is, in my estimation, a pretty decent thing to do. She has him so freaked out with the whole, first of all, I didn't expect this. Second of all, this is live television. And then she starts bringing in experts.
while he's sitting there oh jeez and so he's sitting on the couch she's got experts lined up she's got columnists lined up and she will talk to them and then say what do you have to say to james and the people are kind of like they talk around that they don't because they don't really i don't have anything to say to james i guess you'd you're clearly pissed oprah an hour of this and and no one messes with the queen of the kingdom of Oprah. Yes. Yes. I mean, you want to talk about a God complex. It's the same thing that we were talking about when the whole Hurricane Katrina thing happened, where Oprah shows up and the gates of heaven, you know, open up and you're like, oh, Oprah's here, everyone. She's here to save us all. Right.
What? And the same thing when, you know, she wasn't let into a store after they had closed for a private party. It was like Oprah was wronged. It was racially motivated. No, they treated you like every other human being. And do you remember that she had to have the president and COO of that department store come to her and apologize on national television? And her propping yesterday was that I am...
Thanks a lot, and here's your book back, her face. That's the way she's treating this. Now, Ashley, I'm fascinated to know what you thought because you love Oprah. Yeah, and I agree with you. I feel like from what I saw, I saw half of the episode, and from what I saw, she was pretty much covering her ass. And I thought it was very interesting how she really clarified that, you know, people, I guess, were accusing her for choosing this book just to get, like, all... Did you hear that part where someone... What they were doing was... Yeah, explain. They were accusing her of missing the point with James Fry. Mm-hmm. They were upset at her for her comments that she made to Larry King on the Larry King live show. Cut 16. Recognize that there have been...
Thousands and hundreds of thousands of people whose lives have been changed by this book. I mean, that's a cool thing to say, Oprah, and she's taking all of it back. Because that's still true. Whether it was made up or factual, it still touched people's lives. And she says in there at one point, she goes, there's a woman that I know that was so empowered by what she read in your book. And she was able to overcome addiction because you were and you went through all of those things and she overcame them. And now she knows that that person didn't even really exist. And I'm thinking to myself, so what does that mean? She going to go relapse? Like, truthfully, the truth is, James Fry was no more responsible for her being drunk than he was sobering her up. He didn't do any of it. She did. She read an inspiring book.
Oh, well, you know, he's not responsible. You know, and what information did Oprah learn from the time when she was defending him on Larry King to now that felt that she needed to have this show? She says that it was just people emailing her saying, why did you do that? This guy lied. But on the Larry King show, you know, after she calls and defend him, he says, he admits, I embellished some things. Right, right. So it's the same sentiment. I don't understand why now all of a sudden she's like, you're a piece of crap. Right. Audience pressure. I can understand. Yeah, it is. I can understand having him on, you know, talking about it. But the animosity that she showed towards him is the difference. And that I don't understand. Well, she's taking out her bad decision on him. Right. Her decision to defend him on Larry King. And also, I guess a lot of people. Even though it's her fault. I guess a lot of people were accusing her of knowing that he lied, and that was why she chose the book for the book club. I never heard that, though, Ashley. Towards the end of the episode, it was the Washington Post guy, and he was asking her, and she clarified that she never knew. The Washington Post guy was upset at her for the Larry King thing. He wrote an article about the Larry King deal, and he was real upset about what she said on Larry King. She never said directly, but implied that...
The truth didn't matter. What mattered was this story of redemption and overcoming. And this guy was saying, you're missing the point, Oprah. It really is about those things. And there's a portion of what he's saying that's true. The truth is important. That is true. What I think was unusual was the complete 180 on her decision to say those things which were true in the first place, which was the guy overcame some things. and then doing an hour-long show with him on it where she is looking for blood, man. I mean, she... And I said to my wife, I go, what do you think the people in the audience at this point would say if she started screaming out? Should we stone him to death? What do you guys think? I mean... It was a total mob mentality in that room. It was a mob mentality. It was, man. It was really sad to watch. And my wife goes, she goes, look at his, like, posture, listen to his voice, like he's broken. And apparently during the break, he said to her, hey, if there was a gun backstage, I'd use it. He is as, I mean, listen, the punishment don't fit the crime. But my wife asked, so why do you think he's not like kind of trying to, you know, say the things that we're saying, like, hey, it's a book, you know? And I said, I'll tell you exactly why he's not.
Money. This is all about money. And he feels a tremendous amount of weight from the fact that when she said his name, millions of books were sold. He's sitting in front of the woman who single-handedly put millions of dollars in his pocket. And the weight of that to him is enormous. Because now, if it was just a person that liked his book, that was... Beating him up in this way, he could say, listen, I'm sorry. I embellished some things. He knew that he had to sit there like a child and be beat up by her because he was indebted to her. She is the one that put that money in his pocket. And money speaks so loudly in this country. When people make you money or they're responsible for it, there was this thing in his mind of like, I guess I should take this. I guess I really did screw you over.
To me, a really disappointing thing about that whole situation is usually when you have somebody on like that, there's a counterbalance. Right. Yeah. You know, there's somebody there that has the opposite side. And there isn't that in this, you know. Well, dude. This poor guy is like out there by himself just swinging wildly. Yeah, dude. And what is he supposed to do? She wanted to, Oprah wanted to discuss like the psychology of a liar. in front of him like he wasn't in the room nice and that that happened you know one of the guys was saying well you know um he he is a former addict and one of the things that you know really does get you to being in a better place and that is uh the truth and starting to be accountable for and he's sitting there with his head down and she's like i mean it was rough Thank goodness his publisher was there with him. Oh, she beat her up too. Oh, yeah, she did. She beat her up too. But thank God she was there. P1 Tina, are you there? Yes. Go ahead. I'm just infuriated with this whole thing because what people seem to be failing to realize is that every single autobiography, every single book, novel, everything has embellishments and has exaggerations. That's the whole point of creative purpose because nobody has a perfect life. Nobody has this all-
Starring, oh great, so interesting life that we want to pick up a book and read about it. They have to embellish to make people want to buy the book. Well, this almost goes the other way of what you're saying, Tina. Well, I mean, I've never read the book, so I can't say anything. What it is, is it's the opposite thing of what you're saying. It's people embellishing about incredibly tragic things that have happened to them. Instead of, oh, look at my great life. It's like, whoa, look at how bad my life was. When the truth is, no. You were actually really a preppy person that had pretty good parents and a lot of money, and you went to a good college, and that's the deal. But I understand what you're saying. It is what it is. It's not like it doesn't change my life. It really doesn't change my life. Can we all just remember that it's a book? Yeah, it's a book. Yeah, so he lied a little bit about it not being as bad as it was. Would you have read about it if it was a preppy guy on crack? Yeah. No, I know. I hear you. I hear you. And this is what I wonder. Does this what she did yesterday? Does it sell more books? My wife said, if I hadn't read it, I'd be curious now. Like, what is he saying there? I'd be buying it now. P1 James? Yeah. Go ahead. Yeah, I think the dude should just make another memoir and include Oprah and do all the little mistakes he made. I agree. I agree. Because, I mean...
It's going to be true, and it's going to kind of get back at Oprah a little bit. Thank you very much. Oprah Winfrey on his line. Cut 15. All the way through the book, I altered details about every single one of the characters to render them unidentifiable. So how did she die? She cut her wrists. And so cutting, hanging is more dramatic than cutting your wrists? Is that why you chose hanging? I don't think either or... More dramatic than either. Yeah, but I'm just wondering, why do you have to lie about that? Skye. It was clear to me throughout this whole interview that she wasn't interviewing him. Like, he may as well not have even spoke. Because whatever, you know, when you interview somebody, you ask them a question, you listen to what they have to say, and then you respond to that. But all of her responses were already planned, like just right there. You know, she was saying...
Oh, you know, he clearly explained. Oh, to, you know, help cover the identities, change the facts a little bit. And she goes, oh, why? Is it more dramatic that way? You know, and like towards the end of the show when she was grilling the publisher. Oh, are you guys still selling the book? And the publisher's like, well, like I just explained to you, we stopped printing. We're going to put a preface in. Oh, so are books for sale right now? I'm. Like you're mad because people are calling you out now. Yep. Okay. But that doesn't change any of the facts. Right. And anything that you actually did say on Larry King. Right. So why are you pissed? You should be pissed off at yourself, not this guy. Well, the publisher says at one point, she goes, you know, a lot of people got hurt. James got hurt from this. You got hurt from this. And she goes, actually, she said a lot of people are. James is hurt. You're hurt. She goes, I'm not hurt. I'm embarrassed. And I'm disappointed. I'm embarrassed. And I'm disappointed. She said it like that, like twice.
Yeah, Oprah, you know, it's okay. She must have gotten some hate mail. Oh, man. I can't imagine. She's with. And, you know, I don't support this anymore. And then leave it at that. Why do you have to attack somebody, rake them over the coals? Ruin his life. Sky, I just, like, I said that exact same thing. I was saying that exactly, too. And, hey, I'm sorry if I gave you the, you know. the wrong impression. I didn't know. Anyway, so here's what we got on the show today. Right. Brutal. How could this happen? The Rock 5-3. It's Mikey talking up Tag Motorsports, proud sponsor of the Rock Bonus Club. How you doing this morning? Real good. How are you? Good. I just want to thank you because I called AIS last night and I'm saving $100 a month now. That is beautiful. Where are you from? I'm from Boston. You're from Boston. Yeah. How about that? How about that? And you're saving yourself some money. Yeah, and I just had a baby boy five months ago. What's your name, Rob? Yeah, after the dad, of course. Yeah, what did you name your baby boy? Isaiah. That's beautiful. That's a wicked good name. I have his name tattooed on my arm. Do you? Yes, I do. It's just weird because after his name, I have 714. So it's sort of like a tribute to your son, but I guess it's more of a Bible verse. But anyway, I think that's great.
You should have named your child AIS. And his middle name should have been 800-777-424-AIS. You got it, sweetheart. That is the correct number. That's a number, not a name. In a lot of different cultures, Sky, you'd be surprised. Some cultures, that is really beautiful. That is a beautiful name. They name their children phone numbers. Little boys, yeah. Oh, only boys. Little boys. Oh, wow. I have a cousin whose middle name is 800-777-4-A-I-S. Now, do the girls have, like, websites for their middle names? Yeah, a lot of the girls, so you're familiar with the culture. Well, I'm just making a... Yes, they do. A lot of little girls, their middle name is www.aisinsurance.com. Oh, wow. I'm going to name my daughter. You're going to name your daughter that. See, that makes sense. All right. I have nephews named Saved A Lot Of Money. I've got a niece named Saved $1,600 last year. Oh, I thought her name was Paloma. That is incorrect. Initially, we called her Paloma as a nickname to I Saved $1,600 last year. Oh. It's a shortened version of that. Okay. When you shorten it, it sounds like Paloma. Thank you for the call, Caitlin. Thank you, Mikey. Appreciate it. Mossy Nissan presents Tales of a Titan.

Because as I'm sitting here talking to you about mattresses, I just, I don't know, maybe you're not in the market for a mattress right now, but maybe you are. Maybe you don't like the mattress that you're sleeping on. So let me, I'm just going to tell you the absolute 100% most genuine truth for me. I was living in a place. It was a furnished place up until about a week and a half ago. And getting my new mattress back as a Sleep Train mattress, I cannot even begin to tell you how comfortable it has been sleeping. Vista's 54. Right now at the airport, it's 56 degrees. Second round of the Buick Invitational going off right now. Tiger on the course. Just been informed we do not have a lot of time with this actress, so I want to get right to it. I'm very excited about this. On my inside line is this Mary Lynn. I'm going to try to pronounce this name correctly. Rice Cub? Rice Cub.
Rice cup. That was very close. You did good. Not half bad. I'm sure a lot of... Don't say close enough. Some people may butcher that, though, Mary Lynn. You've got to be honest. Some people probably butcher that. I'm not going to lie to you about that. Mary Lynn, at the end of today, I will bet you that if anybody were to ask you what was the most unique interview you had today, it will probably be this one because I am really interested in talking to you about two very different things. No, no, no. It's not bad. It is not bad. I'm telling you, it's not bad. In trouble. Nope. But first and foremost, it's your character Chloe on 24, which My News Girl Sky. Oh, I love it. Such a fan of you and that show. Awesome. And she goes, this morning she goes, I wish that we could talk to Chloe. She goes, I know we're going to talk to Mary Lynn. I wish that I could just be friends and talk to her and just like...
People call you Chloe now when you're walking down the street? It's hilarious. I feel like I'm going to disappoint you. Oh, no. I love this character. I think I could fix it wirelessly by tracking some satellites for you. That's all I need. That's all I need, Chloe. Her name's not Chloe. No, her name is not Chloe, Scott. In my heart, she will always be Chloe. Oh, my. But it's actually Mary Lynn, and she's a very talented actress. Well, sure, yeah. But is it hard for you? Mary Lynn, to be such a kind of an oddball hard ass on the show? I love it. I can't remember what it was, but one time I said something. It wasn't shut up. That wasn't for a second that it was Chloe, and I was like, oh yeah, you're right. I can't remember what it was. It was just something that somebody else. Mary Lynn, we only have a couple of minutes left with you. By the time we came out of commercials, I only had time for about five minutes, so I've got to get to the other reason.
No, no, no, no. I got to get to the other reason that I was really interested in talking to you. You have worked with my all-time favorite film director. Of course. Right? Yeah, he's pretty good. Yeah, he's pretty good. And I was really upset. My favorite film of all time is Magnolia. And I was really bummed, because I watched the extras on it, and I was really bummed that they cut the scene out with you and Tom Cruise, where Tom Cruise talks about how his dog died. I know, that's a good scene. I know. I'm glad you got to see that. That's great stuff. People don't know about that. A lot of people don't know, but you watch the deleted scenes, you get to see all that stuff. But you were also in Punch Drunk Love, which I believe that you were brilliant in. Will you work with Paul Thomas Anderson again? And when will Paul Thomas Anderson work again? All you have to do is go on IMDB, and you're going to know the same thing that I know. I went on there, and there's nothing. It's like he's not doing anything. The last thing listed on there is Blossoms in Blood, which is a...
A little short thing that he did for Punch Drunk Love. Still the title, but I think his latest script is... Actually, the person that I heard about it from... Oh, he's on 24. Brady Corbet. I was also in Mysterious Skin with him. He's a 16-year-old actor, blonde kid, Derek on 24. Oh, Derek. Okay. He was telling me it's just this long, involved, period piece. I believe it might be about coal miners. Now I'm forgetting as I'm trying to recall it. Yeah, he's written a script and it's taken him a long time to write, but yet personal story. Was Paul Thomas Anderson dating Fiona Apple when you worked with him? Yes. Did you meet Fiona? Yeah, meet G's. Well, I mean, I don't know how else to say it other than did you get to know her? Yeah, I got to know her. I held hands with her. You what? I held hands with her many times.
And you'll like this because you're a fan of Paul Thomas Anderson. I met two weeks before Boogie Nights came out. Interesting, funny guy. had no idea he was a movie director, but was dating John Bryan, and then two weeks later was at the premiere. The guy I met made this. So wait a minute, did you hook, if you were dating John, did you hook Fiona and Paul up? No, they met, how did they meet? I think they met independently of John. Okay, okay. I think it was just like a party or something.
I wish that you could come down here and hang out, because I'd like to talk to you for the next hour about this stuff, but I know that you've got to move on. But it's fun talking to you. I wish we had more time. I like talking to you, too. I know this is probably the weirdest interview you're going to do today. I'm sure everybody else is like, so tell me about, you know, hour number nine. Jack Power, what's his story? Yeah, no. I want to talk about Paul and Fiona and John Bryan and stuff. You got different things. Yeah. I do. I do. I had a different agenda. I'm sorry. But I have to say, this season of 24, in my opinion, is the best season yet, and I am so excited. Awesome. Let me tell you that Mary Lynn plays Chloe, and 24 is on Fox, and it's on Monday nights, and I like you. You're odd, like me. And I hope you take that in the right way. It is. I think you're cool. And she is attractive. Yes. Oh, well, there you go.
See, I don't want to come across as this real creepy... Well, you do. Listen, Chloe's getting some action this season, so it's kind of interesting. Who is Chloe? We can say... It's the oddest love story interest thing ever. Who is it? Well, in one of the first episodes, she hooked up with another agent that's working and turns out to be like, he's a mole. Kind of a mole. He thinks he's doing good, don't you? And she treats him like crap and it's hysterical. Are they pouring like condiments from the refrigerator on each other? Not at all. In fact, she insults him basically while they're together. And you're a joy. You're a joy. All right. Call back in again sometime. She's like, sure. Whatever. Whatever, man. All right, then go talk to Happy and Slappy.
Denver right now. You know what I mean? Give her your cell phone. Yeah, I'm going to give you my cell phone. We're going to go eat at Denny's. We're going to eat at Denny's. Mary Lynn, thank you for coming on the Mikey Show. She's as whacked as she's on the show. Yeah, man. You know what? You got to see. You love her. Oh, I love her. You love her now. I love her now because she was so weird. And let me tell you something. Paul Thomas Anderson, this movie director, is a freak, man. He's weird. He's really weird. And the movies are weird. And she is weird in the movies. And so good at just being that. quirky, bizarre, weird girl. And the thing is, is that, you know, the Fiona question, she took as very, you could tell she thought it was very strange. She's like, did I meet her? Yeah, I mean, that's,
I'm not saying that because she's like a star. I'm saying, did you get to know her? Like, that's all. I mean, I would say that about somebody that works in our building. Like, hey, did you meet so-and-so? I know she also, like, she does comedy, Mary Lynn. Oh, really? Like, she was in that Kelsey Grammer sketch show. She's, like, done a bunch of sitcoms. So I think, like, maybe she started out wanting to be, like, kind of a comedian. So I think with that Fiona Apple question, she was trying to think of something funny to say. And that's why she ended up coming back with the hand-holding thing. It's funny. It's crazy. There you go. I love her even more now. I like her. I thought she was an interesting person. Check this out. This is Morning Show. Yo, so listen up to the words of my man here. Rock 105.3. You're you and you like to be first. I just now walked away, drove away from the AIS auto insurance building down here at 3131 Camino Hill, Rio North. How do you have the... address memorized. These guys, why? How do you have the address memorized? Because I just now drove away from the building. These guys gave me an awesome deal. I'm paying $73 for full coverage for a 2004 excursion. Full coverage, dude. These guys saved me more money. How much were you paying before? I was paying like about $150. Yeah, about $150.
And these guys saved me so much money, man. Yep, you're going to save. You're going to save. Dude, let me tell you, when you write that check out now, for so much less, you're going to be a happy guy. Yeah, yeah. It was a good experience going there. There was a bunch of things that they were asking me. I hope you mentioned me. I did. Oh, as a matter of fact, I asked them, have you guys gotten a lot of business because of Mikey's advertisement? And he said, yeah, a lot of people. I want to give props to my guy there. He's real cool. Let's not get all carried away, dude. I'm not getting carried away. He just said, hey, man. He's getting a little broke back on you. Yeah, you're getting a little broke back on the guy. Jeff Flores is his name. Good guy, man. Go to him. He'll set you up. Oh, I want to read you this email. And it's an email because... Eddie emailed it to me, but it was actually written by Paul Harvey, which I was like shocked. But I think this may mean something to a lot of people. It says, we tried so hard to make things better for our kids that we made them worse. For my grandchildren, I'd like better. I'd really like for them to know about hand-me-down clothes, homemade ice cream, leftover meatloaf sandwiches. I really would. I hope you learn humility by learning honesty by being cheated. I hope you learn to make your own bed and mow the lawn and wash the car.
And I really hope nobody gives you a brand new car when you're 16. It'll be good if at least one time you can see puppies born and your old dog put to sleep. I hope you get a black eye fighting for something you believed in. I hope you have to share a bedroom with your younger brother or sister. And it's alright if you have to draw a line down the middle of the room, but when he wants to crawl into the covers with you because he's scared, I hope you let him. If you want a slingshot, I hope your dad teaches you how to make one instead of buying one. I hope you learn to dig in the dirt and read books. Learn to use computers. I hope...
that you also learn to add and subtract in your head. I hope you get teased by your friends when you have your first crush on a boy or a girl. And when you talk back to your mother, that you learn what ivory soap tastes like. You skin your knee climbing a mountain, burn your hand on a stove, and stick your tongue on a frozen flagpole. I don't care if you try a beer once, but I hope you don't like it. And if a friend offers you dope or a joint, I hope you realize he's not your friend. I sure hope you make time to sit on a porch with your grandma or grandpa and go fishing with your uncle. May you feel sorrow at a funeral and joy during the holidays. I hope your mother punishes you when you throw a baseball through your neighbor's window. And that she hugs you and kisses you at Hanukkah or Christmastime when you give her a plaster mold in your hand. These things I wish for you. Tough times and disappointment, hard work and happiness. To me, it's the only way to appreciate life. Written with a pen, sealed with a kiss. I'm here for you.
And if I die before you do, I'll go to heaven and wait for you. I thought that was a good sentiment. It's a beautiful sentiment. It's something that you just, you know, that stuff, all that stuff makes sense now, man. You know what I mean? I'm telling you, I feel like an old ass, but it's true. Half that crap. When I was a kid, when I was a boy, I didn't get a, you know, just a free car for turning 16. Now it's like pass and go. You get the $200 every time you pass go. It really is, it's like a rite of passage. It's as if it is a earned right. So many of those things, like an earned right. The thing that creeps me out about it is, what the hell are our kids going to be? Our kids' kids. I mean, if that's the way it is now, it's the old adage about music. My mother's mother thought Elvis Presley was practically a porn star with his telewagger out. She really did.
She thought that because you could see him dancing below the waist, that there was something perverted, that his penis was involved, that it was awful and should not be on television. I mean, that was my grandmother's thought. I wonder what she would have thought about Marilyn Manson. You know, what would her thoughts have been on Insane Clown Posse? It'd probably, you know, be a little shocking. If that is, for me, the barometer that I look at and go, ooh, boy, that is a little out there, what the hell am I going to think of my kids' stuff? What's going to be acceptable and what isn't? So I'm going to save it, and then I'll scan it, and I'll have it put onto a floppy disk, and I'll have it somehow saved for my child on a heart. Ten of your friends. That's right. And does your mom still send you forwards? Oh, please. All the time. My mother-in-law has been sending you. Say no, Sky? A way to say something? If you're listening to me right now, and I'm not talking about my own, I'm saying everybody listening to my voice right now, you fall into one of two categories. You are a receiver of forwards, or you are a forward. If you are the latter, every once in a while, every once, and I'm talking like Haley's Comet, man. Right, Skye? Yeah, I totally agree. Eddie, what is a good forward? What constitutes a good forward?
usually pictures or video. Yes. Video is usually, and it's usually funny, like somebody getting hurt or like an animal attacking or like, you know, for me, you know, something kind of dirty or whatever. I forwarded you, I forwarded you something that my mother-in-law forwarded me that I actually thought was good. In fact, I think we should do something with it on our show. It was Jay Leno putting a voice in, a voice box that he could talk to people inside of a free tele, Photo booth. People would sit down and he had a way to have a woman talk like a voice, you know, like a mechanical voice going, please insert. And the voice was saying stuff like, please make out. And the people thought it was real. It was great. It was good. So Eddie's right. Videos usually qualify for a good forward. I'm about to tell you, never, 0% of the time, ever qualifies as a good forward. Jokes.
jokes are never a good forward. Especially jokes that have been forwarded so many times that they've got the little line next to it that looks like an arrow because it's been forwarded so many times. It's like an old piece of newspaper by the time you get it. Yes. I hate forwards that are longer than a paragraph or the forward where the forward is in the attachment but you have to open like five previous emails to get to that attachment. That's horrific. That is the worst. Yes. That's horrific. those forwards i'll tell you what else is a bad forward and my brother steve has sent me this and i write him back and i do not hold back and and i mean it's my email back is always so mean because you can only be that mean to like your brother right i write him back and i go you're mentally retarded and then i and then i go to the next paragraph and the next paragraph will say something like you're the stupidest person i've ever met
He will forward me, he doesn't know though, hoaxes of missing children. The hoaxes? Like, the picture is from 1965, practically. And it's like, this little girl was abducted two weeks ago in Florida. I'm like, really? Well, then why did I get that picture when the PC was first invented back in 1985? Why? Or the ones... The ones that say, if you forward this to 10 people, Bill Gates will send you a check for a million dollars. Right. I hate those ones, too. That's not true, though, that you won't do that? And that they've checked it out. Yes, it's true. I've checked the validity of this. It's a fact. You can sue Bill Gates if he doesn't send you a check. Yes. Okay. Do you guys remember, there was a case in the media, it was a while back, and it was of these two little monstrous boys that led a
little boy off and they caught him in surveillance and they viciously beat this little two-year-old boy till they killed him. My brother sent me a forward of how these two kids were about to get out of jail. It was a travesty. And please sign your name and forward it on as a petition to be given to the state of Texas where this happened. And I thought, I know I've heard this story, but there's something wrong with it. And so I Googled. This happened in London, England. My brother's name was the last name on that damn petition of 950,000 people. I thought, man, we are dumb. Do you have to actually sign your name to a petition? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, couldn't you just type anybody's name on that thing? Does anybody stop to think about that for a second? Am I missing one of the forwards, the bad forwards? Good forwards are video and sometimes pictures. That's it.
Don't send me jokes. Don't send me... We have a listener that sends really good forwards. I think his name is Sergeant Thomason, and he sends me good stuff. It's always video, almost. Almost always video. David Draymond from Disturbed has confirmed that they're going to be on OzFest. That's pretty cool. It's really only the second band that has confirmed that they're going to be on OzFest this summer. The other one's Black Label Society. And, you know, of course, everybody thinks Ozzy's a given. But after, you know, his health issues over the past couple of years, he says that he'll make a few appearances at some OzFest this summer. But he's not going to be like the headliner like all the previous years. I've never seen Ozzy in concert all the years I've worked in rock and roll. Really? I've never seen Ozzy in concert. Wow, that's pretty crazy. I know. Getting towards the end. Brock Lesnar is going to sue the WWE. Eddie, you know a lot about him, right? Uh-huh. Why did he leave? He wanted to try out in the NFL. He tried out for the Minnesota Vikings. I'm assuming it didn't work out. Well, he didn't. So what does he want to do, return to wrestling? I think so, but he's got basically like a no-compete clause, you know, where, in other words, he can't go wrestle for any other companies or even like UFC or anything like that until 2010.
And from what I understand, he wants to come back or at least get out somewhere in the business and the industry. And he can't because he quit on the WWE and they're using their no compete. So now he's suing saying, you're keeping me from making a living and I'm in the prime of my career and you're screwing me over here. Eddie, this is going to make you feel old. We're in school, right? I remember vividly that day. Me too. Because I laughed at the... kid that told me that it happened. You thought he was lying to you? Yeah. This kid, Aaron, came walking up to me and goes, Eddie, the space shuttle just blew up. I said, get the hell out of here. I started laughing until I walked into the classroom and girls were crying and nuts. That's sad. I was a sophomore in high school. Shuttle blew up. Ashley, were you alive when the shuttle blew up? You're old, probably. Two years old, maybe. I think it happened when I was born, like in 83. Yeah, in 89.
20 years ago. To the math. Tomorrow would be 20 years ago. Then I was three. There you go. But I saw a documentary on it, so I know all about it. Do you have an abacus in there? What's that? Years. I was too young for it really to affect me in a tragedy sort of way. In fact, back then, to me, that was kind of exciting. Really? Yeah. You know, because everybody was buzzing. School was kind of, I think they let school out or something. It was real. I remember that. Next week, I was sick one of the days, and I stayed at home, and I was watching TV, and I saw the thing with Reagan and the families and everybody crying. That was really sad. Yeah. What, like, really hit me about it, because I think if it was just, like, the astronauts, like, it wouldn't have hit me, you know. The teacher. But it was the teacher and the fact that I could relate to a teacher being a real person who had friends and family and stuff like that, and that's what really I remember about it hitting me hard.
Do you know that 1,500 people showed up to audition to be on The Biggest Loser yesterday at Dave & Buster's? Holy cow. I guess it went a little south. Hey, Eddie, it was a real heavy turnout. Right. Right? Yeah. It was a real big crowd. Okay, we get what you're doing. Yeah, people were pissed, man, because some people took off work, some people traveled, drove hundreds of miles for this audition. standing in line for hours than to be turned away and not even given a buffet or anything. No meal? Well, that was my point. But, yeah, there's conflicting reports. Well, they're saying an argument did break out in the parking lot where everybody was waiting in line. I heard it was over a Whopper Jr. But it's not like anyone was... That's a cheap shot. I'm fat. I'm like... It's not like anyone was hurt or any punches were thrown.
And then another, and so that was one of the reports why they canceled. Another report is that Dave and Buster's wasn't expecting such a big turnout, so they couldn't accommodate the 1,500 people. There's tons of people there. Yeah, that's what I heard. Tons. So, you know, people were very, very upset. They say they're going to try and reschedule another San Diego date, but there is a February 11th audition in L.A. You got hurt, Sky? No, everything was fine. People were just really, really upset that they took off work. That's heavy. Weighty issue. All right, you guys. Apparently, a bunch of chicks turned out to be valet girls, too, right? Remember I told you about this company that uses girls to do the valet. Sexy girls in sexy outfits. Right. Yeah, they say dozens of girls, or women, I should say, showed up yesterday to the valet girls. Now, what would be wrong with you saying girls? You changed it to women. What would be, you know, you said, and then you were, you hated yourself for saying girls and switched it to women. Well, because they're not girls. I'm assuming they're all over. What is a girl? Someone under 18. So if you're 18, you're a woman. You're an adult. You're a woman. You're a lady. That's just my opinion. All right. But, so yeah, this valet girls is actually. I think of Ashley as a young girl. No, Mikey, I'm a woman. Thank you.
The company's actually based out of Beverly Hills, but they're, you know, opening up here in San Diego. So yesterday afternoon, they did interviews at Bello Nightclub on 4th Avenue downtown. I don't know what that is. I don't know what that is. Bello. I've never been there. I think Ashley knows what it is. It's a brand new hot spot in downtown. You got it, sweetheart. Yeah, so I guess, you know, these women will wear chic and sexy uniforms while parking cars. And, you know, they talked to some of the women who were there to apply. Bad idea. And they say they think it's a great idea. You know, it's a way for them to make good money. And it's another opportunity besides cocktailing and things that. Nope, bad idea. Eddie, why? Girls can't drive. Not according to insurance companies. They lie. Not according to common sense. So insurance companies who base everything on. Have you been in the car with a woman? No, I am a woman. Exactly. 80 miles an hour to work. Safely every time. A lot more than that. You shut up. Especially when it rains. Not especially when it rains. Stupid. So there you go. We may be seeing that very soon. Yep. Gas prices went up for the fourth week in a row. Man. Yeah. I thought we got a break because for a while they were going down. But now they're saying that the average price for unleaded regular in San Diego County is $2.54.
I went on SanDiegoGasPrices.com this morning and found the cheapest gas in the county, $2.33 at the Arco on 12th and Palm in IB. And the most expensive is $2.89 in Claremont, Claremont Mesa Boulevard. I am driving down to IB today. To get you some gas. Spend 50 bucks to go down there to fill up your tank. B-Rob, get in here. Let's do Celebrity Birthdays and get out of here. Ah, Celebrity Birthdays. Yeah. All right. Weekend edition. Like the ones on Friday. All right. Where is Lager? Take your time, bro. We're cool, man. I am very sore. You're very sore? Yeah. Got an email from a chick that hates celebrity birthdays, so I'm going to dedicate this one to her. Really? A-dill. All right. Okay. Let's start with Bridget Fonda. Oh, yes. I love her work. She couldn't have looked sexier to me than she did in a Tarantino movie. Jackie Brown. Jackie Brown. Yeah. Jackie Brown. Boston Rob for punches. 46. I will say that Bridget Fonda is turning 36 today. I'll say 38. Ashley. I'll say 39. Bridget Fonda, 42 today. So close.
So close. Four punches for B-Rock. I was very close, too. Yeah, you almost saw the closest. Somebody laughed at me. I thought that was a ridiculous... One. Two. Oh, dude. What happened? All right, Mimi Rogers. Mimi Rogers. Mimi Rogers. Mimi Rogers. I said Mimi. Mimi Rogers is turning 43 today. She's older than that. 49. Too old. You're just taking all the gas. Stop it. I'll go 48. 46. Ashley. I'll go 47. She is 50 today. Stop it. You guys want to guess Mike Patton? Mike Patton? Yeah. The dude from... No more? No. Police Singer? No? All right. I like him. Did she just give us... Yes.
As a celebrity birthday, the lead singer of Faith No More. Like, I mean, Dick Van Patten would have been good. I would have been more okay with Dick or Vince Van Patten. You guys don't get it. Mike Patton. He's the drummer for Sepultura. All right. Having a birthday tomorrow, Alan Alda. Is freaking old. Boston Rob for punches. Who is that? Go ahead. See, he shouldn't have said he's freaking old. So that's a good guess. 71. Eddie. 66. Ashley. 69. 70. Tomorrow. Oh, so close again. I'm on a roll almost. Two punches. Will you shut up? What? Yes. Make her. Ow. Two. Also with a birthday tomorrow, Elijah Wood. Oh, yes. Brutal Baggins. Brutal Baggins. Brutal Baggins. Bring back into the fiery chasm from whence. I say that that little guy, 33,
today? Before the age of man? Yes. I will say 28. For some reason, I think he's young. So I'm going to say 26. 27. Five tomorrow. Again, Ashley with the closest. Was he like four when he first filmed Lord of the Rings? Can you make her go first? I'm brilliant. Let's have her go first. With a birthday on Sunday, Heather Graham? I will say Heather Graham is turning 28. I will say she's Eddie's age. She's turning 33. I'm 32. I know. That's what I'm saying. She's not my age. She's a year older than me. It will be her birthday. She'll be 33. She's your age. She's 32. She'll be 33. Mike's technically right because her birthday's not until Sunday. If it were her birthday today and she was turning 33, she's your age. How do you figure? That's not true.
I'm 32. How could that be my age if she started her birthday today? Spirit. Spirit. You have no spirit. Whatever. Boston Rob. I'm going to say she's Mikey's age, 36. Uh-oh. What? Oh, no. What? I mean, what's wrong? Oh, my. He's just using your, you know. My logic spirit. The spirit of it. Just using the spirit of my argument. Did Eddie guess? Eddie, I'll say 35. Oh, goodness. You are correct. Boston Rob. Yes. She is turning Mikey's age, 36. That's what happens when Ashley doesn't go. I'm 35. Well, I mean, you know, like today she's 35. On Sunday she will be 36. In the spirit of it. Mikey's age. You guys want to guess? Tommy Ramone? I guess we'll pass on that according to Eddie's. All right. How about Edward Burns? Are we on him? I like Edward Burns. Okay, well then. Very scratchy. Yeah, very scratchy. I'm going to say he's turning 35.
Eddie. A little bit older, I'll say 38. Boston Rob. 40. Ashley. I already forgot his name, so 35. You are correct. Eddie. Yes. 38 on Sunday. Out of the park. Okay. Tom Selleck. Just hit the green monster. Tom Selleck. Wet big poppy on your ass. Boston Rob for punches. Tom Selleck. That's right. The person I strive to be. Wait. Come on, Magnum. My role model. I have a poster of his head. 61. In the office. I don't know. I don't. Is he 61? Yeah. I will say that Tom Selleck is turning 52. 52. Ashley. 88. I know it, man. Ashley, God dang it. Yeah, I know it. She's that little sister. Yeah, she is. She's the little sister that has not got enough attention today and she'll do anything for it, including piss you off. Well, you are correct. B-Rock 61 on Sunday. I called you out of here. I do too. That's his idol. He has a poster in the office. Of course he's going to know his age. You're a cheat.
I swear. You're a cheater. You guys are just mad because I got two today. You're a cheater. And I'm on fire. You're a cheater. You guys are getting mad at y'all. All right. That's crazy, man. Okay. Popo's out. Yeah, popo's out. Up your nose for the rubber hose. Okay, whatever. All right. And our final celebrity birthday with her birthday on Sunday is Oprah Winfrey. The devil. Oprah. I'm going to say that she is turning 53. I will say that she is turning 55. 54. You don't have to flip her off. 51. Wow, you guys danced all around it. Oprah is turning 52 on Sunday. That was my second guess. Yeah, that was going to be like my fourth guess. So happy birthday to all of them. Is that it? Is that all? Well, when I say...
And our final celebrity. Oh, really? And then when I wrap it up. How many times can she stick her boot in my crotch today? Happy birthday to all of them. Is that Brian's birthday today? Those are normally slides. Do you do viruses? Shut up, ass face. Yes, the virus, the rapist is having his therapist. Shut up. Whatever. Sorry, I thought it was different. I had pneumonia in my fifth grade year of elementary school. 570-105. I missed a few things. I missed how to spell Brian. Spelling and long division. Don't come to me. Beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone segment. You can call in about whatever you want. I before A, except after dumb. Mikey Show. What's up? Hey, you guys got to do spankings on Ashley. Celebrity birthday? Yeah, how many years off she gets a spanking? Yeah, maybe you should come in and do a spanking. Yeah, it's very sexual, and I don't see her in that way.
Well, it's not a sexual thing. You punch B-Rod, you got a spain craft. That is sexual. Yeah. It's very Brokeback. Mikey Show. I just want to tell you what happened to me when the Challenger blew up. I was actually, like, I think I was in sixth grade. I'm not too sure, but I got a pencil stuck in my head. A pencil stuck in your head? Yeah. How? We were playing football, and this genius had it in his pocket. Genius was there? It just went right through my, like, right above my eye on the side. And, yeah, I remember my mom picking me up and she was telling me about it. About the shuttle? Yeah, about the shuttle. And I was, you know, I was let go. So I went home early and I was able to watch on TV. It was rad. Is it still in there? The pencil? No, but I got this little, like, this little green patch from, like, the lead. Couldn't be more bored with that. That is awesome. Couldn't be more bored. Come on, that's cool. That is gross. Mikey Show.
Hey, Mikey. Yep. How you doing? Good. What's up? Hey, you guys have been talking about the UFC. Did you hear about the next pay-per-view? Yeah, we sent a listener to go see it. That's this one. You're talking about the one after next weekend? Yes. I don't know. What is it? Matt Hughes and Hoist Gracie? That is actually incorrect. That's two from now. The next one after this will be Rich Franklin versus David Loazzo. Yeah. And then the one after that will be Matt Hughes vs. Hoist Gracie. I want us to go to that one. Matt Hughes vs. Hoist Gracie. I'd like to go to that one as well. Yeah, me too. And I want to talk to our promotion department. The show is such a fan of movies and entertainment. Next year, I want to make it our mission to go to the Sundance Film Festival and broadcast from it. That'd be cool. Do you know who we would have been able to see up there this year if we had gone? Tom Selleck? I mean, that's a joke. me or Eddie would make for crying out loud. Well, no, his movie was premiering, so he probably would have been there. You know, a man lost his life. No, he would have been there. Good comedy. So anyway, good one, Sky. Metallica performing up there at the Sundance Film Festival. Yes. Jennifer Aniston hanging out up there. Oh. Can we wear a jacket? Say what?
wear your jacket. It's a warm jacket. Why are you giving me a dirty look for? The jacket is not gay. It's not. It's broke back. Probably win a lot of awards. Get you a little cowboy hat. Go with it. Yeah, B-Rob. He started this. Okay. Thanks for throwing me under the bus. Mikey show. Yeah, I was wondering who won that game between Eddie and Ashley. Oh, come on. Anyone. Pictures online. Yeah, you can find the science homes. This is not going to become a phrase on the Mikey Show. Too late. T-shirt's being made now. Stop it. You can see pictures of it, by the way, at MikeyShow.com. Thank you. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey, this is P1 Rachel. I just wanted to ask Skye why she's punishing me. I just got a picture of her genitals. Okay. We're not.
Doing that. She's referring to a thing that was taken out of context when I'm being very sarcastic, talking about how I send people pictures of my genitals to punish them. Come on, Skye. Wow, great one. I always support you and everything, and I get a picture of your genitals. That's not cool. That's not cool, Skye. I was being sarcastic. Skye, what is your problem, man? Stop sending your genitals. How dare you? Enough with you. Not everybody wants to see your genitals, okay? We got it. Gosh, we get it already. Your genitals. All right. Genitalia. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Hey, this is D1 Ash. You guys were talking about how you were trying to get videos on the iPod the other day. There is a perfect program to do that. It's called Videora, and it'll take any movie file, however big it is, and it'll come. You know who can't send their pictures of their genitalia on the Internet? Chris Penn. Chris Penn. Scott.
That's a hurtful thing. Sky's new joke sweeping San Diego County. Ask any question, follow it up with, guess who can't? The answer is Chris Penn. Sky will be saying that all day long. Whatever.
