It's 6-0-8. The five outside of L.A. has been reopened after being closed for over 50 hours after a fiery crash that killed three people. I like my Chargers like I like my Chargers. LT scores four touchdowns as the Chargers beat the Raiders 28-14. Hey, Ash, did you by any chance get an email from Mike Costa about anything? Mm-mm. You didn't? I heard this great clip yesterday after the game. It was a clip of Josh talking about the great play from Igor Olshansky. And he's talking about how Merriman is igniting the crowd, blah, blah, blah. And it really sounded cool. So I called the hotline, the inside line here at the station. I called the hotline. I called Shauna. I called Brian Wilson. And I called Mike Costa. Couldn't get the clip.
The game is broadcasted in the other studio, so they're not in here, so you can't. Nobody's in this studio. Well, there's the hotline. You can cross that one off the list. Brian was at the game. I talked to him. Oh, you did? Yeah, I talked to him. And he didn't know where it was? He got me Costa's information because I needed to get a hold of Costa. Uh-huh. Left Costa a voicemail. Talked to Shauna. Sometimes it's just hard to get stuff. I'll give you an... You should have called me because I could have got it for you. How? Because I know who to call. Call Danny or Priceman, the guys that run the audio. Are they in there? Yeah, but I have their cells. That's so annoying because it was taking me 20 minutes. I was 20 minutes into this project. And the reason that I didn't call you is because I thought, I'm not going to bug you to get you to do something you're probably going to tell me to do. No. I figured you'd go, yeah, you'd need to call Sean or B-Dub or Costa. No, you can call me about that stuff. I'll figure it out. I wonder if we could get it now. Do you have any specifics? It was this big play that Igor Olshansky made towards the end of the game. And as soon as I said it to Brian, he goes, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't see it. I just heard it. And people that watch the game or were at the game, I'm sure right now they go, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know what that is. Steph, can you go double check and see if they have any clips like that? Yeah. So welcome to the show. My name is Mikey. A little rain in October.
How do you like that? Which we were worried over the weekend that it was going to ruin my son's birthday party. But, you know, the theme was Hawaii and it kind of looked like Hawaii out there. All cloudy and everything with sun popping through every once in a while like Hawaii. So that was all right. I am 37 years old. And one thing that I find very humorous is when people sneeze, the. response that they get from others. The responses will range from anything from God bless you, to God bless you, to God bless, B-L-E-S-H, bless you. And I think it's, I do a mini hysterical laugh in my head every time I hear it. I think it's great. I don't know what Gesundheit means. You rarely hear Gesundheit.
And besides Gesundheit and God bless you, I'm not really sure what there is. What, Skye? Well, I thought I knew what it meant, but I think it means God bless you in German. It's the same exact thing? Gesundheit, yes. Now, why don't we say like the Italian, but why German? Why has German become the deal to say it in German? Not Italian, not Spanish, but German. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He's 34. Eddie, tell me something about you. I had a very creepy thing happen last night. I had a phantom texter. What? Somebody who I don't know whose phone number it is came up on my phone and it said, I don't like talking to you either. And I was like, whoa, like is this somebody that I... stop talking to or like is it sarcasm or like i don't know what's going on local number yeah yeah and so i text back and i go who is this and it wrote me kenny lol and i went okay well this is like a wrong number or something right so i'm like okay whatever at midnight last night they text again and just wrote hello and i'm like now i'm creeped out i'm like forget it i'm out i'm not even responding and
I don't know what's going on. Hello question mark? Just hello. Just the word hello. Hello. That's pretty creepy. I'm like, that is kind of freaking me out a little bit now. Hopefully paparazzi didn't see your phone. No kidding. Just kidding, Brad. Poor guy. Skye is our news girl. She's 29. Oh, I know. That's right, Skye. Not much time left. Big three O's right around the corner. One week from today. Oh, wow. So that means that this technically is... The birthday week. The kickoff. How come next week won't be your birthday week? Your birthday's on Monday. You should have the whole week be the birthday week. No, the birthday week always is the week preceding the birthday. So it ends with the birthday. Yes.
It ends. And then we don't have to even talk about it. So Tuesday, it's done. Nice. Tuesday and next week, it's done. This is the birthday week. Birthday week. How convenient. I brought in cake today. That is perfect, Ashley. Thank you. That's for you, Skye. Thank you. Thank you. What? Gus, Gus. Anybody. Anybody. Cinderella. No idea, man. Anybody. No clue. Skye, tell me something about you. Well, it's so weird that... Because you know how sometimes you dream, but, like, you don't really remember your dream until something triggers it? And Eddie saying the thing about paparazzi being the phantom texter just totally, I had this dream last night that paparazzi was staked out in a tree in my backyard and was taking pictures of me in my master bedroom and then trying to extort money out of me for the pictures. And I didn't even remember that dream until right now. You sure it was a dream? A dream.
What a trip. Paparazzi's in my head. Oh, no. Have you guys seen Sean's shirt? Yeah, he wore it, like, last week. The Woody's. Woodrow. What up, what up? He wore that last week? Mm-hmm. It's one of my faves. I notice it every time. Sean is our sound effects guy. He is 37 years of age, just like me. Sean, tell me something about you. I have really bad luck with stuff that doesn't matter, but it really bothers me a lot. For example, there are so many times when there's a bathroom here in the building where it's like a one-person bathroom. It's the only one I use, the only one that I feel I can control enough. Whenever I go in there, I always go in right after someone has done really something awful. And I hold my breath, whatever, and I just want to...
Do my thing and get right out as fast as possible. Every time I come out, there's someone waiting to use it. And I get the blame. I have figured that out. I flat out let people know. What do you do? I say to them. That's not me. I walk out and I go, I want to know too. Just so you know. Right. Wasn't me. But do you think that they believe you? I would. That's been my problem the whole time. Nobody's ever addressed it with me. But if I could look in somebody's eyes and I could tell if they were genuine, because I'm genuine, man. I'm like, I'm telling you, that was not me. And I don't want to get blamed for it. See, to me, I would think that's what the person would say, even if they did do it. Somebody's overcompensating. I've had tons of people walk out of there and go, hey.
Just walk away real fast. Well, that's my tactic. Oh, totally my tactic. To me, that's guilty. I'm going to try it. I mean, I don't know. I will. I swear to God, I'm going to try it. Because it happens to me more times than it should. Is it a single bathroom, Sean? Or is it like a multi-stall? No, it's a one-person bathroom. Oh, that's the worst. Like I said, it's the only one that I feel like I can control, like the cleanliness level in it. Only the DJs have access to it. That means it's a DJ that's... Yeah, it's gotta be. Of course. Cut. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 years old. Ash, tell me something about you. I kind of find that I am becoming more and more, like, antisocial every day. Because I had a weekend full of what could have potentially been a bunch of fun stuff, and I just turned it all down to hang out by myself. Like, preferred that. Was it stuff where drinking would have been involved? Yeah. I mean, one was a barbecue, and then the other was I turned down charger tickets. Like, I totally could have gone to the game, and I was like, oh, I would so much rather stay home on my couch, talking to no one, being around no one. I would so much rather that. That charger game, though, man. Who wants to be around the fights and all that? The Raiders. I was like, I'd rather not. No way. And, like, I'd rather stay home. Are you kidding me? Absolutely. It was great.
I thought you hated that week. I do, but it's different. It's not like it was back in the day. It's 90% Charger fans now. Since the Chargers are winning, they don't sell their tickets anymore. That's how Raider fans would get them. The Charger fans would be like, I don't want to go to the game. Here's the tickets. With that seat license thing, with the code of conduct, if you... sell your tickets to somebody, and they get into a fight, you lose your tickets. You lose your season tickets. And so people aren't selling their tickets anymore, which is good, you know, because that means that it's mostly Charger fans. And so the Raider fans are so outnumbered at the games, they're not the problems there used to be. So I said, screw it, I'm going to go. And I went, and it was great. Too bad they can't weed them all out. That would be great. With their really cool rubber skulls, you know, taped. To their fake shoulder pads. And their awesome Darth Vader masks. And their tinfoil spikes. I mean, they're so intimidating. I get so scared. Raider fans are all dorks living in the past. Like what past? Like the 60s? Like, yeah, I mean, you know.
The last Super Bowl you guys were in, you got killed. Yeah, by the Redskins. Yeah, Raider fans are a whole other breed of fan. They are interesting folk. It must suck that the Chargers own them. Eight in a row we've won. Eight in a row. That's not good. Don't even show up next year. We own you. Oh, what's a point, right? Boston Rob is our phone screener. He's 24. Rob, tell me something about you. I heard someone say I love you back this weekend, and I realized that that really aggravates me. I don't like the I love you back. I appreciate the I love you too or just saying I love you when someone says it, but I love you back, I don't get that. Did you overhear it? Yeah, yeah. Where'd you overhear it? Where was it?
Oh, my girlfriend said it. No, she don't say that. She'll say I love you too, but I'm so used to hearing that. And I love you back. It just sounds weird. Where were you when you heard that? I'm trying to think. I say that. You say I love you back? So a guy says to you. It must have been Ashley. Guy says to you, I love you. You go, I love you back. I wouldn't say it to my boyfriend, but I say I love you to everyone anyways. So yeah, I say that all the time. I love you back? Really? I'm fascinated to know where you would overhear that. That's more interesting to me than anyone. I want to say I was outside of Vons or something. Justin Timberlake's song? No. It's a more fun... Yeah, I get it. It's a more fun if you've laid back when I'm saying it. Not so serious. I love you back. I think I was at Vons when I heard it. I was at Vons three times this weekend. It must have been one of those trips. Good for you, kid. Get some groceries. Nice. What is he buying? Eat. Oxygen? It's free. Zed is a utility guy. Zed. And he's 22. Youngest guy on the show. We went out to a contract dinner on Friday night. Guy took all the jewelry out of his face. He's respectable. Cleaned it real nice. That's right. Respectful kid. Zed, tell me something about you.
This is actually kind of embarrassing for me, but if I park my car in an unfamiliar area for longer than, say, like 10, 12 hours, whenever I start my car, there's like a second of anxiety because I think there is a car bomb in the car and I'm going to die when I start it. That's our boy Zed. P1 Scott knows where God bless you came from. Where'd it come from? I was calling in because I don't even say God bless you anymore because I originally, I found out it comes from when back in the day of the Black Plague, the first sign and symptoms of the Black Plague were sneezing. So people would say God bless you to that person and wish them the best, you know, luck for the Black Plague situation. And I tell people that I don't even say that because that's what it means. I've heard that. That's why people shouldn't say it anymore.
Maybe we should change it to good luck. Well, that would have the same meaning of black play. I know, but it's much creepier. Or hope you don't die. Yeah, hope you don't die. Good luck with that. Thank you for the call. That's interesting. Didn't know that. There was some pretty big news over the weekend, man. Pretty big news. This thing that happened in this tunnel on I-5 up by LA was crazy. Oh, I felt so, I mean, obviously you feel bad for those people, but anybody who had to travel in and out of that area, horrendous all weekend long. Well, it was like a pileup inside the big tunnel, right? And then a big crash and then a fire and then people died in that tunnel. Three people were killed, 10 were injured. But what I think is really scary is that that fire caused damage to the structure. And they reopened it today, right? Well, I don't know if they specifically reopened that fire.
portion or just the areas around it because all the areas around it were close too and so from my understanding they have reopened the five in both directions but that area specifically that you're talking about that like burned who knows how long it could be for that i mean it could be potentially forever depending on the extent of the damage they may have to just scrap it and i mean who knows so that means that people that are traveling north and south are probably being detoured directly onto the two-lane, I don't know, was it the southbound direction, I think, that the tunnel happened in, that the tunnel accident happened in? Yeah. Okay, so it's the southbound that the tunnel accident happened in. And it was the truck route, I believe. I don't get it. Like, if I'm thinking of the right area, I mean, I'm not really familiar with these freeways. It's a tunnel. Right, but you know, like, when you're, if I'm picturing the right area, oh, I don't even want to speculate. Yeah, it's a tunnel. I think I know where it is. Yeah, I think I know where it is, too. I've been through this tunnel before, but I think what they're going to have to do is they're going to have to take southbound traffic now, stick it in that northbound lane. I'm sure that won't cause any problems. Not at all. No delays. Yeah. I mean, and for how long? I mean, how long is it going to take to fix that structural damage? Yeah. It's really, really bad. They say about 30 trucks and cars were involved, and, you know, the road was a little slick. Sounds like an action movie. Mm-hmm.
Like John McClane was driving or something. Exactly. That's brutal. They say an average of 275,000 people travel on that stretch of road every day and that you should expect delays of at least two hours in the area. Oh, my. I don't know if that was delays prior to the opening this morning or not. P1AJ. What's up? What's up, dude? Hey, I was on the southbound 5 just north of Santa Clarita when that... Wreck happened. Oh, so you were there right before it happened? I was there right after it happened. The whole tunnel, it looked like something out of Hollywood just blew up. People running out of the tunnels. It was like a half mile of wreckage. Oh, my. How long did you sit there on the freeway waiting? Five hours. Oh, wow. Oh, my gosh. That's crazy. Five hours.
They directed the whole five off-ramp a couple miles behind it afterwards. They directed us all back. And then it was a one-lane back road through the middle of nowhere, almost to Burbank. Oh, wow. Can you imagine that, man? Holy cow, dude. Hey, AJ, thanks for the call, man. No problem, Mikey. Oh, yeah. It says right here. I'm reading more about it. It says the southbound truck route where the crash occurred could remain closed for months even after they opened the southbound main I-5 lanes. Hey, John. P1 John. P1 Don. Yeah. You were going to Magic Mountain? Yeah, bro. We had about 15 of us going up there in cars, and it took almost three hours to go three miles. to get diverted onto the 14 to get around it. Unbelievable, man. Smoke and fire and everything. Thanks for the call, man. Yeah. Do we know how it, like what happened in that tunnel? Yeah, because I've been specifically looking for that, and they talk about the roads being wet and semi-trucks, but they don't specifically, from what I've read, I haven't read a specific blame put on one car for doing one thing specific.
But they are talking about the big rigs and the rain. That is unbelievable, man. Yeah. What a trip. From P1 Mort, he says that his German teacher told the class that Gesundheit means for your health. So there you go. And it does have to do with the Black Plague. That's what they say. The other big thing that I thought was pretty crazy from the weekend was the brothel bust in La Mesa. Dude, this is a nice-looking neighborhood in La Mesa. Like, just from looking at pictures of the house and the surrounding area, it looks like a nice neighborhood. It ain't easy being a hoe now. Inside the house, they had turned it into, like, the Bunny Ranch? Yeah, I guess neighbors had noticed cars, you know, coming and going, and it was, like, always dudes, and they would, you know, park and stay for about an hour and leave, and it was always different dudes, so the neighbors got suspicious and called the police and was like, hey, we think something's funny going on.
Well, the police had also found an ad on Craigslist for this home. So they sent an undercover officer in to get a massage and ended up being solicited for sex during the massage. And that's when the arrests started happening, arresting the women in there. The women are coming out, yelling at the neighbors, blaming them for this. Yeah, how about you don't blame your neighbors? You're the one running the whorehouse. But yeah, so this was on Sunrise Avenue in La Mesa. Whoa. They're all mad at the neighbors. Right? You've got a dirty, poorish mouth. That's what you have. Yeah. Eddie, will Russell get 11 points out of LJ Crumpler tonight? No. I think it's very unlikely. I just want to hear you say no. No. Hmm. Fun weekend of fantasy football. And the Chargers took it to the Raiders. Cut 41. Offset high behind Rivers. He'll hand it to Tomlinson, jumping towards the end zone. He cartwheels. Is he over? Touchdown, San Diego! How many touchdowns, Eddie, for LT? Four. Oh, my God. Four. Four touchdowns. Yeah, 198 yards. Big game for LT. Wow. That guy loves silver and black. Yep. He loves it. He loves to see it.
He starts, like, salivating. And he gets, like, the little white foamies on the side of his mouth. It was nice to see they switched it up a little bit instead of every first down running LT to the left, which is all we've done for five games in a row. Right. You know, they switched it up. They threw on first down, then ran him on second down. Play action pass. You know, they switched it up. You know, finally, which, you know, if you know he's going to run the first down every time. Well, you got everybody doubting me that I don't know. Or, I mean. Dude, it's not that bad. You did a good job. It gets a little tired, you know, everybody saying, I don't know how to call a play and I don't know where to tell people. You should be happy today. Yeah, you got a big win. It's a good day. There's nothing wrong with me. I don't know why. Well, you sound very upset. Like, kind of suicidal. There's nothing wrong with me at all. I'm just saying that every time we run the ball, people have some sort of critique. This is you happy? I'm ecstatic. Oh, no. I don't agree with it. Weird. Cut 42. Third and a long two. Following a Raider timeout, Rivers will hand it off. Tomlinson with a burst first down. Breaks a tackle. 30, 25. We'll see you in the end zone, man. Touchdown with Damian Tomlinson.
He's my favorite ever. I'm not kidding you. Josh Lewin is my favorite play-by-play guy ever. You're so lucky to have him be the Charger guy. He's so good. Yeah, he's playing his band by Curious George. No, that's not true. Independent George. Oh my goodness, is that right? That's embarrassing. That is so embarrassing. They are playing this weekend in the gas lamp. I don't know where. I think at the House of Blues. I want to see. He'll be in here later. He's the best. Gosh darn it, do I love to hear him call a game. I want to see. Let's hear Antonio Cromartie's interception. His first one ever, I think. Cut 44. Paul Pepper pump fake. Now fires deep. It's up in the air. Jump ball. Camardi with the pick. Antonio Camardi pushed out of bounds at the 23. His first NFL interception. Big old smile on my face when I hear it. It's great. He's good. We got a great show today. Dumb Chick Challenge. Of course. Do it every Monday. Because the brain's working, you know. On a Monday, your brain is just like firing on all cylinders. Right, Sky? Great. Sean Merriman is going to be on the show.
Every Monday we have him. Big game for him yesterday. He had a big sack. He had two sacks. He too? Yeah. Look at that. Great game. We are going to, for the first time, we are going to do, well, you know how we do this exercise called I Don't Like It When. It's when we get a couple of members of the show to tell the other member of the show that they don't like it when something happens. And today it will be Ashley and Rob. Oh, no. I don't think that's a good idea. Probably not a good idea. Now, listen, I gave them the heads up. I wanted them to be able to really think about it. Oh, no. That's worse. That's not better. Thought about it all weekend, Mike. Oh, no. It's better because it really cleanses. Oh, great. I'm really hoping for that, Mike. Oh, no. Rob, were you not able to think of anything? Oh, I got a list. Nowhere to go. Rob, were you able to put more than one thing? Oh, yeah. Okay. That's surprising. You shouldn't be laughing about it all sarcastically. Right. You know, it should be something that... No, it was nice to kind of, you know, sit and think about it. That's the attitude I like. That's the attitude I like. I just can't wait to get it all out. I'm a huge advocate of therapy. I think this is going to really heal us. Oh, I really do, too. I really, really do.
Yeah. We're also going to do a little P1 trivia so somebody could come and hang out in the studio today. We got a lot of stuff. Don't go anywhere. The Mikey Show Stand-Up Spotlight 105.3 He's a good doctor, I think, you know. I told him I get heartburn sometimes, so he goes and gets me a list of things that cause heartburn. Heavy out of Chula Vista up through National City toward the bridge. This all due to an earlier accident that was south on 5 near the bridge. That's got you so still on the approach there. South 163, still seeing a busy ride through the park. An earlier accident still clearing near the 5 coming through downtown. And north 805 out of the South Bay. Plenty of stuff here now.

Oh, he was arrested for allegedly having his bodyguard try to buy him machine guns and silencers. Oh, come on. Does he think he's a Dallas cowboy or something? Yeah. How crazy is that? It's pretty, pretty bad. So the ATF got a search warrant and went to his home over the weekend and arrested him. And I guess his bodyguard admitted. to buying about nine firearms for T.I. and then about 17 firearms for other people in T.I.'s posse on previous occasions. Of course, T.I. says all of these charges are false. Of course, he's being set up. You know what? You know what I tell you is just a shame is, you know, when somebody achieves a certain level of success and people just all they want to do is make up.
Gun charges. And I'm sure what they did was they just, they spun a wheel with different people's names on it. And it landed on him. And so they decided, okay, this is who we pick. Right. This is who we're going to single out to say was trying to buy machine guns and silencers. I think I know what happened. What happened? Well, he is from the ATL. True. Made a movie called ATL. And I think. that it got confused with ATF. I like it. I like it. Of course, friends of T.I. claim that the bodyguard went to T.I. and asked for an advance on his pay, so T.I. gave it to him, and whatever his bodyguard spends his money on, whether it be guns, drugs, or formula for his babies, T.I. has nothing to do with it. Word. Yep. Innocent victim. I was like, hey, listen, I didn't do it. He bought machine guns. That's his own private time. So did the bodyguard drop the dime or like how did the how did they find out? What? I don't know what that means. Drop the dime? No. No. What is that? Like 10 cents? What are you? I think it would be way more than that dime. I think it would be thousands of dollars for a machine gun and silencers. No, no, no. So Ann Coulter realize.
That Ann Coulter is a little off her rocker. Okay, she's a little off her rocker. And should be viewed as, you know, kind of a crazy person. Instead, I think a lot of people, when she says stuff, they go, oh, those Republicans. I sure hope not, because she's a little kooky. Here's what happened. Ann Coulter, conservative commentator, said this week that the nation would be better off if all Americans were Christian and that she wanted, quote, Jews to be perfected, as they say. Cut 45. The idea that, you know, the more Christian you are, the less tolerant you would be. You said I should not. We should just throw Judaism away. We should all be Christians. Yeah.
Really? Well, it's a lot easier. It's kind of a fast track. Really? You have to obey. You can't possibly believe that. You can't possibly. You're too educated. You can't. You know what Christianity is. We believe your religion, but you have to obey. No, no, no. We have the fast track program. Well, I'll put you with the head of Iran. I mean, come on. You can't believe that. The head of Iran is not a Christian. I don't know if you've been paying attention. Let's wipe Israel off the earth. I mean, no Jews? No. No, we think we just want Jews to be perfected, as they say. Wow, you didn't really say that, did you? Yeah, no, that's what Christianity is. We believe the Old Testament, but ours is more like Federal Express. You have to obey laws. In my old days, when you say something absurd like that, there's no... What's absurd? Jews are going to be perfected. I'm going to go off and try and perfect myself for Ann Coulter, author of If Democrats have any brains, they'd be Republicans, and if Ann Coulter had any brains... She would not say Jews need to be perfected. I'm offended by that personally. And when we have more big idea, when we come back. It's weird because it's very clear that he is like, well, he's obviously offended, but he's also, you know, he's very serious. And it almost sounds like Ann Coulter is making a attempt to be sarcastic. But because he's not having it, it it's almost like she's going her tone is.
hey, I'm kind of messing around and trying to be outrageous and funny and sarcastic, although I believe she believes it. And he's being very serious. And so the two of them, it sounds like she's trying to be sarcastic. But I do believe she believes it. See, the tone I got from her is like... This is common sense. What I'm saying isn't crazy. Like, of course we want all Jews to be Christians. Like, that's just common sense. There's some of that. You know, and that was the vibe I got from her. But then what I also got was, yeah, I get a little of that. I get a little of a lot. Yeah, there's a lot. She does a lot of that, like, where I'm kind of kidding, but I'm not. You know, like when she was joking around, quote unquote, with John Edwards and. Right, right, right. Like all that stuff, you know, joking about his dead kid. And it's like, you know, that's not funny to anybody. Anybody. Ann. Ann Coulter is really in the last couple of years. She's got issues. She's singled herself out as like. Like, I think Christians and Republicans, everybody is probably going.
Hey, she doesn't speak for us. We don't know her. We don't feel that way. Pretty much. Right. Don't know that lady. I don't know if anybody saw the Union Tribune yesterday. Front page of the Union Tribune. Christian evangelicals are threatening to basically leave the Republican Party. Why? Like they're right about to support a third candidate. And the reason is because. They're almost seeing more Christianity with the Democrats than they are with the Republicans. And it was so fascinating, man. Front page of the Union Tribune, they're listing all the Republican candidates and they're giving their quotes on religion. Actually, I'm sorry. It was like all candidates. And they were giving their quotes on religion. And every single one of them, except for...
john mccain every one of them they were like real wishy-washy it was almost as i'm like being extreme but it was almost as if they were saying uh i totally believe in god but you know i reserved the right to not believe in god it was really bizarre What, Skye? What is it? I just sent you the link, so if you want to look at the actual quote. She sent you the link. Send me the link. Thank goodness. The quotes are on the right side in a gray box. Yes, send me the link. I just did. She did. And you said, what's that? And I said the link. Okay, here we go. So here's what Hillary says. Hillary is United Methodist. She says the whole Bible gives you a glimpse of God and God's desire for a personal relationship. But we can't possibly understand every way God is communicating with us. Which is an interesting statement to me. I would love to say to her, okay, Hillary, so what's your point? I just want to know where she's going. Meaning what? Meaning what? That would be a great question. Meaning what? John Edwards. He says...
My personal faith guides and affects my personal decisions in my personal life. But as a president of the United States, I would have a constitutional responsibility to all the American people, which means to all people of all faiths. Yeah, that's true. That's cool. That's true. No doubt about that. Barack Obama belongs to the United Church of Christ. that you don't have doubts. You need to come to church in the first place precisely because you are first of this world, not apart from it. Now that one, I had to sit there with a long time and I'm still not sure what I think of that one because my instant instinct was to go, well, actually, I think faith means that you don't have doubts. I think. I think that's what faith is. Like faith is believing in something you can't see.
But I don't know. I don't know. I'm not saying he's wrong. I'm just saying I was like, hmm. I kind of did the German shepherd. Now the Republicans. Rudolph Giuliani. He's Roman Catholic. He says, I think in a democracy and in a government like ours, my religion is my way of looking at God. And other people have other ways of doing it. And some people don't believe in God. I think that's unfortunate. I think their life would be a lot fuller if they did, but they have that right. Like, that one was weird because it was just like the stating of a bunch of obvious facts. Like, Julie, I am so out on Giuliani. Like, I'm out. Like, he's so bizarre in the Republican Party. Like, he's for abortion. He's for gays getting married. Like, he's like a Democrat in Republican's clothing. It's bizarre.
John McCain. John McCain is a Baptist and says, since this nation was founded primarily on Christian principles, personally, I prefer someone who I know has a grounding in my faith. Now, listen, that may not be popular with some people, but at least that dude's making a firm stand like he's digging his heels in. He's saying, this is what I think. He's committed to that. To a lot of people, you may go, well, that's nuts, dude. But at least the guy's saying something real strong. Everybody else is like, They're kind of like trying to appeal to everyone. Mitt Romney, guy's a Mormon. He says, I doubt very seriously anyone in the world is going to join my church simply because they see a leader who is a member of it. Okay. All right, dude. And two wives for every house. Yes. And finally, the dude from Law and Order. All right. Who is running.
On the campaign, I think his slogan is vote for the dude from Law & Order. That's his campaign slogan. He says, I know that I'm right with God and the people I love. And then he went on to explain that he doesn't attend church regularly and won't dwell on religion in the campaign. Which is fine. He doesn't have to. It is very important to a lot of people. It's important to me. But that's a deal. Anyway, it was a big story this weekend. Interesting. Yeah, that stuff's going to heat up. Sean Merriman's going to be on the show within the hour. And Dumb Chick Challenge is next. It's Mikey. Hello, Mrs. Arnold. We are the decorators. Oh, I didn't call any decorators.

In a recent Oregon study, three groups were monitored. One received 30-minute consults after blood pressure readings. The second and third got counseling plus weight loss and exercise goals. But the third was also advised to follow a low-fat diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Produce, Doc Boy, Brad Fairhurst. Uh, I'm crazy busy. Fruits and vegetables are huge. I've seen the original Star Wars probably over 200 times. Sky. I'm very conservative on a daily basis when it comes to the wardrobe. Sean. I floss a minimum of three times a day. Boston Rock. It's a transient style that I've developed. And Ashley. I can't control my laughter. I laugh at everything. On Rock 105.3. It's a Mikey Show. Welcome back. It's 7.01. Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married was the number one movie this weekend, making $21.5 million. After another weekend of upsets in college football, Ohio State now the number one team in college football. Oh, the Dumb Chick Challenge. Great. Let's do it. The Mikey Show presents a somewhat lasting quarantine called the Dumb Chick Challenge. Dumb Chick Challenge. If you've never heard it, here's the way it works. We take three dumb chicks.
Sky, Ashley, and a female listener. A female P1. We need a female P1 to call in right now. 570-1053 is the number. P1 Far Swimmer. Yo. Who would you like? I'm going to take Sky. You're going to take Sky. There you go. Let's go, Sky. Let's go. Hang on the line. What we have right now is listeners calling in and selecting the person they believe will do the best in the Dumb Chick Challenge. P1 Manny. You get Ashley. That's perfect. Hang on the line. Boy, that really does have a big crescendo. We got it. We understand. You've built. You've built and now you're building. Okay, now we're there. Appreciate it. And finally, the P1 that will be participating in the Dumb Chick Challenge is P1 Anna. Yes, hello. Anna, how old are you?
I am 29. 29 years old. Do you consider yourself a pretty bright girl? I would hope to think so, yes. Okay, well, we'll find out. Yeah, we will. We'll find out. The Dumb Chick Challenge is where we assign questions a point value one through three. Ones are easy, threes are hard. The first person to five points wins. So you get to choose what kind of question you want, easy or hard. I believe that Boston Rob started last time. He doesn't even play anymore. Not anymore. He was too smart. Hasn't played for a while now. Okay, then. Wasn't dumb enough. Maybe it was Ashley that started last time. Yes, it was. And so we will start with our listener this time. You were correct. Wow. P1 Anna, would you like a one, two, or three-point question? Let me go for two-pointer. You got it. Eddie, do we have any kind of cool prize today? Yeah, we have boo-ball tickets. Oh, boo-ball. How to stick it to town. What's that, Anna? Your two-point question is, who assassinated Martin Luther King? Easy. Who assassinated Martin Luther King? It's a tough one, Anna. Yikes. JFK. No. Was it rapper T.I.? Tyson bit his ear off, not him.
I need an answer in three seconds. Sorry about that, Anna. Oh. Sorry about that. The answer is James Earl Ray. Oh, my gosh. That's right. That's right. You know, he did the voice for Darth Vader. Yeah. This is CNN. Right. Ashley. Yeah. Sorry. Sky. Sky. It's you. Sky. Sky. Sky. Sky. Sky. Sky's up. Wait. Huh? Sky, what do you want? A one, two or three pointer? Come on, get back into the trying to win thing. Friday didn't work out so well going for all three-pointers, so I will start with a two. You got it. Thank you. Skye, the Great Barrier Reef is located off the coast of what continent? I just pressed pause on the TiVo, on Skye's TiVo. She just paused. She froze. Now she's smiling. Oh, no. Oh, boy. Wow. Oh, no.
What is a continent? I'm trying to work that out. Define continent. Skye, the Great Barrier Reef is located off the coast of what continent? Because I thought I had the country, but now you're saying continent, and now I'm thinking everything's wrong. Everything is very wrong. Or is it a continent? The North Star. There's some major. Orion. I will guess. Matchbox 20. Say Asia. Are you kidding me? Sky. South America. Australia. That's a continent. Well, see, that's what I was.
It is. It is. It's a country and a continent. Son of a... Because that was my answer. How do you not know that? Well, that was my answer. What continent is Australian? Well, see, that's what I couldn't figure out. And then I was trying to think what continent was closest to Australia. Well, there's only one continent that's also a country. I didn't know that. There's only one thing to remember. Oh, I should have just said Australia. Son of a... Ashley. It's on the Asian continent. Ashley looks nervous already. She's already got a nervous look. She's smiling now. She's looking at Eddie. She's waiting for him to give her the signal. I don't know what the signal he's giving me. Eddie's kind of dancing. I've never seen the signal. I'm doing the Dante Culpepper, let's roll. Okay. What does that mean, Eddie? He's giving her a sign. Oh, wow. She wants a one. She wants a one. I thought she was choking. Ashley, the term Benjamins is slang for what denomination of U.S. currency? Dollar, dollar bills. One dollar. What is he talking about? No way. Well, my guy should talk. I got Australia wrong. Yeah, but that question was, it was like... It was like hand-picked for her. Hand-picked for her. Ashley? Ashley, that's incorrect. Benjamins are a hundred dollar bill because, you know...
He's on the $100 bill. You said $1. Oh, my God. Why would people rap about $1? Yeah. It's all about the one. Yeah. It's all about those singles, huh? We're just warming up. I don't know. I just thought, like, there's two clubs and they throw the dollar bills. Oh, wow. What is she talking about? What the hell? Okay, we're all warmed up now. We're going to get some right. We need Rob back in the pan. Eddie, what's the score? Yes, what's the score? How we doing, Eddie? Oh, I'm doing awesome. Eddie's holding up the piece of paper where there is no one on the board. No one's on the board yet. No. Son of a gun. It doesn't affect my personal life. They've all been easy. What? Well, you've got to take a tactic, Eddie. You've got to take a tactic. Otherwise, it'll just start to hurt. Otherwise, it'll just start to hurt. Does it affect her professional life? Well, here's the deal. It's like when football players, you know, when they go out there and they're hitting each other and it hurts so bad, they have to say something mentally to themselves so it doesn't hurt so bad. You go, hey, man. You know, it's just one play at a time. All right. Ask them. I'm going to get you a Vicodin. P1 Anna.
Okay, I'm ready. What do you want? A one, a two, or a three-point question? I better go for another two-pointer. A two-pointer. And a lozenge. I wasn't. I wasn't thinking it. I wasn't thinking it. Don't try to psych out your competition. You're awful. That's a horrible thing to say. No offense. Anna. Offense taken. I mean, I'm just saying. It's offensive. Anna? Yes. Where is the mandible located? Oh, my gosh. See, I freaking know that one. Did you mean the Mandalay Bay? No. Vegas. What continent is that? I believe it's on the strip. On the rapper T.I. Anna, where is the mandible located? Mandible.
Are you looking for a country or a... Well, I'm not going to give you the answer. You have to give me the answer. So where is the mandible located? I'm going to take a bag and say Europe. No. Best answer ever. Anna, the mandible's located in the jaw. What? What continent is that? Is that in Europe? The mandible's connected to Europe. Sorry about that, Anna. Wow. Different, you know. All right, Skye. Wow. I'm going to try a two again. You're going to go for a two. I was cheated last time. Cheated? Cheated? Yes. How can you be? Skye. I get it. Sky, what major barrier separated East and West Germany before it was knocked down in 1989? The Berlin Wall. You got it, kid. Here we go. You're up. Ashley. Get over it. I knew that one. Oh, I did. It's always the ones. You always give me the ones I don't know. It's always the ones. I just go in order, kid. All right. What do you want? A one, two, or three-point question?
Eddie's doing the roll thing again. Give me one. Give you a one. All right, Ash. Originally part of the Department of Treasury, what bureau was created to protect the U.S. president and his family? Think about it. Can you repeat the question? Absolutely. Absolutely. I know. I can see it in her head. You can. Ashley's taking her denim jacket off. Let's put those down. It's 7-12 in the morning. They're already humming. She ran a marathon, right? You just play racquetball? What is going on? Don't smell them. I'm not smelling them. It's so good. I'm just checking out how much... I got so far today. Sky, can't she wear colors that wouldn't show the sweat coming through? She doesn't care. No, she doesn't care. It doesn't affect her personal life. It doesn't. It does. It does. It does not. All right, Ashley. Yes, repeat the question. Your one-point question is, originally part of the Department of Treasury, what bureau was created to protect the U.S. president and his family?
I'm either thinking. I love Eddie coaching her through it. I'm either thinking the Department of Defense, or I'm thinking, or I'm thinking the CIA, or I'm thinking the cabinet, A, B, or C. Those are all good choices. The liquor cabinet. I will say the CIA, FBI. The FBI. First of all, her father's in the FBI, which makes this even more of a travesty. The FBI. You're wrong. You're incorrect. When I tell you this answer, you're going to kick yourself. I thought she knew it. She does. The Secret Service. Who protects it, President Nash? The Secret Service. The Secret Service protects it. Is your dad listening online? Probably. He's humiliated. He really doesn't care. I'm very sorry.
He's proud of me no matter what. I doubt that. That's what he says. Well, except for that question. He's a little irritated. He never does. P1, Anna. Yes. One, two, or three points. What's his score, Eddie? Sky is the only one on the board with two points. Yes, Sky. Anna, what do you want? A one, two, or three points? A one-point question. A one-point question. Your one-point question, Anna, is... What are Prince Charles and Princess Diana's children's names? Both Skye and Ashley. I love it. She gets all my questions. I love it. Anna? Yes. What are their names? Henry and... The rapper T.I. Henry and Edward? Oh! Anna, you said you were somewhat intelligent. What happened? I forgot. Oh, man. I forgot how smart I was. Anna, it's Harry and William. Harry and William. That's right. Not Henry and Edward? No, not Henry and Edward. Are you sure? No, read that paper again. Those are better names. Go, Wikipedia. Check it out. Yeah. Sky.
What do you want? A one, a two, or a three-pointer? You can finish it with a three-point question, Skye. I believe in you. You do? Yeah. All right. I would like a three, please, Mike. You got it. Why are you laughing? You just said you believed in me. Help me out, man. Skye. Yeah. Who was the president? Come on, Skye. You can do it. I'll try my best. Who was the president? Guess some presidents. No, no, don't you say that. Just relax. All right, let's hear the question. Just relax. Just breathe. Use your mandible. Skye, who was the president during the time of the Iran hostage crisis? Oh, great question. Oh, Skye, you got this. Come on, you're going to kill this. Skye. You're going to kill this. Skye. You got it, kid. You got it. Look at her. She's going into shock. Well, if I knew when that was, that would help. Probably. Not really, actually. I mean, maybe. I mean, it would give me an extra, like, 5% chance. That's true. So, for some reason, I want to guess between Bush Sr. and Reagan. But I can't figure out which one of them I want to guess.
She's looking at me, looking at Eddie. She's trying to measure our face reaction. Anybody. Trying to get a read. Anybody, I will go Bush Senior. It wasn't Reagan either. It was Jimmy Carter. Oh, that was a long time ago. That's correct. See, a little history lesson here. When was that? The day that Reagan was inaugurated, they let him go. They said, see you guys later. We don't want you here in Iran anymore. Get out of our country. Good looking out. Good looking out. Ashley? Yeah. What's up? Ashley was napping. She just woke up, and she says what? What do we got? What do you want? A one, two, or three-point question, Ash? Eddie's going big time. Eddie's going hard. Eddie's going hard. We're not. Eddie's going hard. Ashley's saying we're not ready for that. You can't answer the ones, so. I don't know.
Give me a three, guys. Yeah. Does she choke again? She said, give me a poo, guys? No, no. What did she say? Oh, a three. She said, give me a three. She said, like, a three. Gotcha. Ashley, what does a painter use to display his paints while in the painting process? What does a painter use to display his paints while in the painting process? What's that called? A canvas. That's incorrect. So close. It's called a pallet. Great. Good to know. Do you call it his pain holder? It doesn't affect my life. Not my personal life anyway. Not one iota. You know what? I'm still kicking. What? Call the pallet all you want. I'm still here. Oh, man. P1 Anna. Come on. We're going to get you on the board here, Anna. Okay. I need to make a comeback here. Yep. Yeah. Come on. Come on, Anna Banana.
Come on, you can do it, Anna. I know, I know. Let's go for a two-point question. You got it. Oh, there it is. Right on. Here comes your big two-pointer. Who was the first person to be elected president of South Africa in fully representative democratic elections? Oh, great. First person elected president of South Africa when they were able to elect. Josh Lewin just walked in. I'm sure he knows. He loves this thing. He loves the dumb chick. He always walks in with a big smile on his face. Loves listening to it. Do you know the answer to this question, Josh? The one that I just asked. Let me give the question again. I want to see if Josh knows the answer to it. Don't say if you do because the question is for P1 Anna. But who was the first person to be elected president of South Africa in fully representative democratic elections? Yeah, I got that one, Mike. You got it. Nerd. Anna? Nerd. Nerd. This is a hard one. It is. Oh, come on.
Oh, my God. Australia. This one's got to be TI. I have no idea. It's Nelson Mandela. It's Nelson Mandela. It's Nelson Mandela. It's Nelson Mandela. You know what? That was my guess, but I wasn't 100%. But you didn't say it. Always guess. Always guess. Always guess. Like Australia, right, Skye? Yep. Should have guessed it. Ashley. Yes, man. Ashley, I keep popping up with Ashley. Skye, Skye, it's your question. Skye, what do you want? A one? Three. Let's wrap this up. You want to wrap it up right here? Yeah. For Josh Lewin, I'm wrapping it up. You got it. For Josh, let's do it. I'm going to win it. You do it for Joshy. I'm a nerd, though, apparently. You can just slip me the answers. All right, Skye. Yeah. Geographically speaking. Oh, no. Oh, no. Brutal. Yes, Australia is a continent. Oh, no. Sky, geographically speaking, what is the lowest area in the United States? In the United States? Yes. Not Australia. I know Australia. Yes. You're saying U.S. Sean's basement. It's not Donna Fry's breast. What could it be? What could it be? I think that is correct. That's rude.
Okay, I'm going to guess. Sean. That was right up his alley. I'm going to say the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I would say it's a decent guess. No. I would say it's a decent guess. It's a decent guess. It's a mile down, dude. Sky, that's incorrect. Are you sure? I'm going to double check. I'm going to tell you that's a good guess. Where? It's Death Valley. But if you're taking a guess. That's lower than the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Yeah, yeah, Skye. Yes. Yes. Are you sure? Like a flat server. I'm going to take my tape measure and head on out there. Figure this out. Can you imagine Skye on Death Valley's floor like measuring stuff with a yardstick? Ashley's being given hand signals from Eddie. Oh, wow. Of what to take a one, two or three pointer.
What will she do? What will Ashley do? Will she take a one, a two, or a three? Now she's giving Eddie a sound like, you really want me? I mean, I don't give a rip. Oh, yes, you do. You want to win. You care. Now you care. You care. You have to. Okay. We're going to go with a one. Give me a one. A one-pointer. Yeah, Mike. Strategy. You know. Strategy. Yep. Ashley, who's the communist leader of Cuba? Oh, I know this. Okay, then. Because he's getting super old and I saw him on the news. Give it to me. Give it to me. Fidel Castro. You got it. You got it. All right, you can put it on my board. That's so weird, too, because I asked the person I was hanging out with. I was like, who is that? Fidel Castro. And I'm like, what does he do? And I'm like literally asking so I can learn. There you go. See? For this reason. I love it. I love it. What goes around comes around. Don't know how that had anything to do. You know what I'm saying. I don't think that. What? I don't get that one. Do you want Anna? Yes. One, two, or three-pointer? Well, I've got to at least get on the board, so let's go for a one-point question. You got it. Josh Lewin, have you been listening to the game so far? I have. It's been riveting. Yeah, you've heard how... She's my favorite. You've heard how well Anna plays this game. And I'm so disappointed because I really want to win, but... I'm rooting for you too, sweetie, so come on. Here's your question.
And you, Sky, rooting for you, too. Your question is... And Ashley. If you're traveling in the UK... Don't need you, Josh. Don't need you. Wow. It doesn't affect my personal life. All good. She leaned back and took a sip of coffee after saying that. All good. Anna, if you were traveling in the UK, what does that stand for, UK? UK is United Kingdom. You got that. Everybody's on the board. I love it. Annie, what's the score? Anna has one point. Sky has two points. Ashley has one point. I know we've been playing for a half an hour. We have. We really have. You know, I would quit doing this bit except people love dumb chicks. They love to hear dumb chicks answer questions. Well, when Mandible is located in Europe, that's fun. It's genius. It's beautiful. It's beautiful. Sky. Wrap it up. Wrap it up? Come on, Sky.
Skye, you're going to wrap it up with a three-pointer, right? Yeah. Here you go. Yeah. What happened to your old strategy? I don't know. Skye, in astrology, what astrology sign has a crab as its logo? Oh, my God. Oh, easy. Whoa. Skye. Whoa. The other dummies know. Skye. I know. I mean, I see it, but I... You're visualizing a crab? Yeah. I know what a crab looks like. I've seen this thing before called crab. Well, yeah, I watched A Little Mermaid this weekend. Similar to a lobster. Only different. Yes. Rounder. Pinchier. Pinchier. I see that little SOB right now in my head.
Come on, come on, wherever you are. Come here, you little rascal. I'm here, Sebastian. Sebastian. No mermaid. Love it, love it. I'm not 100%, so I'm just going to guess. Cancer? Yes! Okay. Wow. Sorry, Anna. What a bummer. Sorry about that, Anna. P1 Far Swimmer. How sweet it is. Hang on the line. You're going to boo ball.

A brothel in La Mesa was busted this weekend after neighbors complained to the police. LT went off this weekend, rushing for 198 yards and four touchdowns as the Chargers beat the Raiders 28-14. Do we have him on the phone? Yep. You've got to tell me what line. Sean Merriman. Sean Merriman. Hey, what's going on? How you doing, man? Doing pretty good. How much feel? I'm doing good. Great game yesterday. Two sacks, right? Two and a half, yeah. Two and a half. But who's counting?
Yeah, but who's counting, right? Hey, listen, when you get out there and you see that silver and black, it seems like the whole team just gets a little bit fired up. You know what I mean? A little bit extra fired up. You know what? Honestly, I would really like to say it was the Raiders, but I felt like we would beat anybody we played yesterday. Really? Oh, yeah. But it's got to feel a little bit more sweet. Because it's the Raiders? Knowing that our fans really disliked the Raiders a lot, it felt a lot better to get that win for the fans. Let me hear a cut. 43. Three-step drop, and he is going to find a little bit of time here, and now Tyriman got him back at the 39-yard line, and there he goes with a lights-out dance. And we got Josh Lewin in the studio here, Sean. I want to thank Sean for letting me do stuff like that, because if there was just some random... You know, a linebacker that didn't have that ability. I'd never get to make a call like that. So thank you, Shawnee. No problem at all. Hopefully I can keep providing you with those exciting moments. I need about 16 more just full blowouts like that from you. We'll get you to about 21 sacks this year. It'll be great. I think I can make that happen. Now, I know this. I know when you come over to the sideline, you've got all the different defensive coaches coming up to you.
patting you on the back, saying good job. Does Norv ever come over and say anything to you after big plays like that, Sean? You know what, sometimes he does, and I think I can get Norv hyped up sometimes a little bit. You know, he has been going off and yelling and getting excited, and I think he can start to get excited a little bit with me. I hope that he doesn't eventually say to you, no, I just want you to know you're getting too excited here, Sean. Don't get me too excited. You know, I don't want to get my heart racing too much here. I want to see it work the other way, Mikey. I want to see Norv break out full-on Lights Out dance with Sean. Yes. Wouldn't that be awesome? Sean, how do you get Norv to do that Lights Out dance with you? You know, really, I wouldn't put it past this season. I mean, I think, you know, he's definitely a player's coach. If he decides to do the light south dance one day, don't be surprised because I think he would. One thing that I have to say respectfully about the Raiders is that Lamont Jordan, I think, is a pretty fantastic player. And yesterday he was out there playing with a back that was all jacked up. He looks like he brings a lot of lumber with him. And you had a lot of direct tackles directly on Lamont Jordan with a messed up back.
Is there a difference between hitting Lamont Jordan and hitting other guys? Well, you know, I went to school with Lamont. He was a little older than me. He went to the University of Maryland. I didn't know that. We grew up together. I didn't know that. Yeah, it's funny because I had a conversation the other day. It was me, Lamont Jordan, Julian Peterson. We all live less than five minutes apart from each other. We grew up together. They're obviously a little bit older than me, but I know those guys pretty well. So, Sean, did you play any high school ball against these guys? Yeah, I played high school against Julian. Julian was a little older than both of us, but Lamont, he literally played right up the street from me. He ran out hard all his career. So you remember making tackles against Lamont Jordan in high school? Oh, yeah. I was a freshman. And he was on his way out going to the University of Maryland. He had committed to the University of Maryland already. But I got a few licks on my freshman in high school. Really? Yeah. That's pretty awesome. Now, do you guys ever keep – do the Maryland guys in the NFL, you guys ever kind of keep in touch, talk or anything? Oh, yeah. We all talk to each other from week in and week out, especially when we know we play each other.
down the road. So we'll call and just check up on him. But it's a little weird talking to a running back where you're trying to knock out who you also friends with. Sure. Sure. I bet it is. We got Sean Merriman on the line. So, Sean, you know, during getting prepared for this week, I'm looking at the game yesterday. I'm thinking, wow, man, these Chargers look like they've everything that you've said in the past. You're right. Like, it looks like they're starting to get it. everybody's starting to gel. Is that all it took? Was just time to sort of let it absorb? Well, the bad thing was that we played some of the best teams in the NFL early on in the season. Chicago, well, not right now, but Chicago, the Patriots, Green Bay. I mean, those guys, all those teams are pretty good, and KC as well. So it just took some time for us to get together and start knowing each other a little bit more. We're still getting to know each other every day. And it's amazing the results that can happen when you give number 21 the ball. Listen to this. Cut 42. What a feeling. I mean, on the sideline, that must be so much fun, Sean. You know, I love it. I love it because, you know, the fans get a lot of joy out of it.
watching them score. But I get more joy out of watching him during the week, knowing that he's going to have those type of games. To actually see him go out there and do that is very exciting. I know that the defense and the offense kind of work separately from each other during practice. Do you have a lot of opportunity to interact with No. 21 during practice? Oh, yeah. We talk every day. We talk every day. And that's just me sitting back and watching him. He's sitting back and... watching me and how I try to get the team riled up. It works hand-in-hand when you've got a guy out there who, in my eyes, is probably the best player in the National Football League, and you get a chance to watch him every day. Some people will say it's way too early to say something like this, and some people will say, well, duh. I genuinely believe that when it's all said and done, LaDainian Tomlinson will go down as the best running back of all time to ever play in the NFL. I really do believe that. No, no, no question about it. He's so humble. You'll never hear from him. But, you know, I could say it for him. I watch him every day. I see how he works and how he prepares and being the best player in the National Football League. And, you know, I can honestly say he will be one day the best running back to ever play the game. Hey, Sean, do you have the opportunity, and maybe you do, maybe you don't, to sort of, because he's as good as he is as a running back,
to defensively kind of pick his brain about stuff, or is it not really like that? It's not really like that. I've talked to a lot of offense linemen who've been in the game for a long time, like Roman Open. I just get a chance to talk to those guys. You just really got Sky excited. What are we talking about? What's going on? Where's Roman Open? Sky just heard Roman Open. Where's my chief at? And she got real excited just hearing the name. Yeah. My goodness. Eddie, did you have a question? Yeah, you know, LT obviously seems to kick it into an extra gear for the Raiders for some reason. Is there a team that you maybe have like a little bit of extra dislike for or a player that you gear up for a little bit more than normal? Anybody with an obstacle helmet. I mean, that's how I look at it. I don't have any extra motivation to go out and play anybody. From week in and week out, I just want to go out there and get whoever has the ball. I forgot to ask you, or maybe I did ask you this. Have I ever asked you about the powder blues and how you like playing in those powder blues? I love them. The team loves them, and the fans love them. I really wish we played in them a lot more than we do, but I guess they bring them out for special occasions, and that's the way it's going to be. There you go.
Sean Merriman, we have him on every Monday after a game. We're going into a bye week now? Yeah. Sean, what are you going to do? Are you staying in town or are you going somewhere? Well, actually, my uncle has a fight at the Saquon Casino on October 20th, which is next Saturday. So I'll be in town for that. Your uncle, you say? Yeah, my uncle has a fight. He's a professional boxer. Who is your uncle and who is he fighting? Henry Sugarpool Buchanan. And whoever he's fighting is going to knock out. I don't even know the guy's name. Wow, so you're going to stay and you're going to go see the fight. Yeah, I'll come back in town for the fight. I think I'll go up to L.A. and do some things with the NFL Network and commentate for ESPN a little bit. Really? So we're going to see you commentating on ESPN? Yeah, probably so. I might fly out to Bristol. that Sunday and come back Monday. Really? So we can expect this. Now, are we going to see you on the pregame stuff, or what's it going to be? Well, it might happen. I'm not for sure yet. It all depends if it works out in the schedule, but they've been trying to get me out for about four or five weeks now and go out there for Bristol and do some commentary for ESPN. Is that something that you would be interested in down the road? Who knows? You know, I don't want to think about it too soon.
and I'll probably force some players to do it a lot sooner than they want to. So, you know, if that's what it comes to, I love commentating and doing those sort of things. So, probably so. That's cool. That's cool. All right. Hey, Sean, thanks for coming on, and I guess we'll talk to you in a couple of weeks. And who's next after the bye? Who are you playing? Houston. We got to Texas. We got to Texas, so we got to come out and get another one in a row. Will it be in Houston or in San Diego? I'll be here in San Diego. They're coming to our house. There you go. All right, Sean. I appreciate it. Thanks for coming on, man. We'll talk to you next time. I appreciate it. Thank you. All right. We'll see you. In the game of the day yesterday, the Patriots remain unbeaten, roughing up Dallas 48-27. Here's Tom Brady, cut 13. If coach asked me to make a throw on third down in the red area, it's a touchdown, great. If we run it in, great. Touchdowns are really not very important to me. I think winning the game is what's most important. Getting the team in the end zone, making first downs, there's a lot that goes into playing quarterback. When you win, I think that's the most satisfying thing more so than throwing a touchdown for us. You know what else would be satisfying if you're Tom Brady, I would just guess? Banging supermodels. They're real good. There's no longer a real stigma about having gotten just slammed up there. You know, what'd they lose by? 21, right? 38, no, 38, 14, 24. I should be on Dumb Chick Challenge or something. That's 24. Yeah, no, I mean, that team is going to beat a lot of people soundly. They are a complete football team. Yeah, they're one of the better teams I've ever seen, you know, period. Well, they're saying that this morning I heard on ESPN, they were saying that we may be, with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, we may be.
Looking at two guys that could potentially go down as the best two quarterbacks in the history of the game, which is crazy when you consider how great Joe Montana was and when you consider how great Brett Favre is, when you consider how great Dan Marino was, John Elway, these huge names. And they're saying, and I've heard it from multiple sources. I absolutely agree with that. I mean, you look at what Peyton Manning's done, and it's mind-blowing. But, you know, Tom Brady has always been known as kind of the best clutch quarterback, best postseason quarterback. And now that he actually has some receivers to throw to, it's like, oh, okay, well, this is what he can do with some talent around him, too. So, yeah, those guys are amazing. You know, if you're a fantasy football player, there is a part of me that goes, well, When the first guy in fantasy football took a wide receiver, why did everybody pass up on Randy Moss so much? I mean, yeah, he was a mess in Oakland, but he was going to play for the Patriots. And look at the guy. I mean, the guy is just, it's like he's 26 years old again. I mean, you put an actor with really good actresses and actors, you know, all of a sudden you're bringing your A game. You know what I'm saying? There's no slumming anymore. He's in that setting where he just, he wants to be a star again. Hey, Josh, speaking of.
With what you do for a living, do you ever get to go to a movie theater and watch a movie? At a movie theater, Mikey? That's a good question. No, I don't. Never? No, very rarely. But that's why there's HBO and there's Netflix and there's TiVo. There's other ways. On demand, there's other ways to see movies. What was out this weekend, Sky? What scored big in theaters this weekend? Is the Ben Stiller movie anything or no? The Heartbreak Kid? Well, it was number five this past weekend. I wouldn't mind seeing that. Did it just come out? It was like three weeks ago. I think it came out last weekend. Oh, did it? Because we were surprised that game plan was filled. Oh, that's right. That's right, yeah. So what was number one this weekend? Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married? Was number one? Uh-huh, 21 and a half million. Are you kidding? Yeah, and then the game plan was number two. It was in first place for the last two weeks, and now this week it's in second place. We're at low ebb right now, huh? This is the time of the year that people, they just don't care about movies. This is at the beginning of the year. Well, there's too much good TV on right now. Seriously, I mean, for me, that's what I make appointments to see. I want to see The Office, and I want to see the new stuff on TV is what I want to see. Here's something pretty big. Tomorrow night, this Senator Craig is, he doesn't get it.
Not enough, apparently. Hello. But not only is he dumb, the people around him are dumb because they are doing the equivalent of, you know, sending him to the wolves. Tomorrow night, they're going to air an interview with Senator Larry Craig. He's the foot tapper. He's the foot tapper from the Minnesota toilet. He was in the bathroom at the Minnesota airport tapping his foot. Trying to get a little guy action. A little something something. That's so weird that that's a tourist attraction now too. I know. I was in that airport last month. There's people taking pictures. It's so weird. Who did we talk to that went in there that had to urinate and they were so self-conscious? Brian Malarkey. Brian Malarkey. That's right. The guy from Top Chef. He's the exec chef at Ocean Air.
And he said, yeah, he had to actually urinate and he felt so self-conscious having to go into the Minnesota bathroom at the airport. I am not gay. I never have been gay. You don't have to keep saying it, Tom Cruise. We get it. I am not gay. I never have been gay. So there is Senator Larry Craig, who said I'm guilty and then said, no, I want to take that back. Check this out. Dude's wife says he didn't tell me about this. Until it was right about to be public. What? Yeah. Oh, my God. So, hi, honey. How was your trip? Oh, fine. Anything interesting happen? No. No. No. Can't think of anything. It's just interesting, Senator Larry Craig, that says that you were just picking up a piece of toilet paper and not looking for gay stuff. Yeah. Because.
It would seem that if you weren't looking for gay stuff and you got arrested for it, the first thing you would do is tell your wife what happened. Duh. You know what, Mikey? He's a guy who travels all the time. Seriously, when I go back to Dallas later today, if I just sit next to a fat guy on the plane. I tell my wife that. Oh, you wouldn't believe the guy, the mouth breather I was sitting next to. You wouldn't believe how it took eight minutes to hook up the freaking thing to get off the plane. I mean, I complain about everything. Every guy does. If I got busted for the possibility of gay sex, I might mention it. You might mention it. That would put a wrinkle in my day. Hey, honey. Sorry I missed that flight. You'll never guess what happened to me. Yeah. You're not going to believe this one. You're not going to believe the gay thing I was accused of this week. I am not gay. I never have been gay. So guess who he's going to be interviewed by? Oh, gosh. Matt. Is he nuts? Get him, Matt. Is he nuts? I said to my wife last night, because Matt Lauer has clearly made a name for himself that he doesn't give a rip. Light him up.
He will ask, and he's not going to stop with the first question. No, no. And so I said to my wife, I go, what does he think he's going to get from Matt Lauer? Oh, thank you for clearing that up. No more questions. Right. Oh, you're free to go, Senator. Matt Lauer is going to call him on every inconsistent thing that we've been talking about. Oh, yeah. Matt Lauer is going to go, well, it just seems interesting that you wouldn't tell your wife when everybody in the world would tell their wife. And how's he going to answer that? All right, so I've got to add the office and that interview to you vote now. Oh, yeah. Yeah, so that's going to be on tomorrow night. Dateline presents at 8 o'clock on NBC, and then they'll also air back snippets of it Wednesday morning throughout the Today Show. Really? Yeah. So we have to assume that it's already taken place, it's taped, and that they're going to play it. Yeah, if we're getting quotes out of it already, then yeah, definitely. I mean, I want... Ooh, doggie. Well, here's the thing, too. I wonder if they had to agree to anything. Like, what kind of stuff would you mean? Yeah, yeah. I don't know. Like, I wonder if Larry Craig's people said, we'll answer questions, but, you know, if blank happens, we're out of here. Or, you know, we'll stop the interview. Like if you're asked to recreate with a kind of a prop stall that we put up in the studio. If you ask Senator Craig to actually remove his pants for this interview and recreate what happened, then we won't do it. Well, he's not gay. He's never been gay, Mikey.
It's very true. That's what he said. I am not gay. I never have been gay. You don't have to keep saying it. I am not gay. You got it. I never have been gay. Thank you. It's so musical. It is. You know, it just. Oh, we should try to put that to some kind of music. It's serious. It's got like a lilt to it. Why don't we have Independent George put that to some music? Would you come hear the band on Friday if we did like a Senator Craig? Montage. A little tribute. That'd be great. You know what? I could probably, if you can email me that, what you just played, I'm going to get that in my keyboard. Yeah. And we'll do like, we'll do Chocolate Rain. Yeah. We'll do Blank in a Box. Do you actually know how to play the music? Because you're the keyboard player for your band, Independent George. Do you actually know how to play the... Oh, yeah. No, we're working that up. Really? Are you a Chocolate Rain guy? I did not know that. Are you kidding? I love Chocolate Rain. We had him on the show. You did? Sky uncovered something like an investigative journalist. Oh, I missed it. You went all Matt Lauer on this, dude? Oh, yeah. I did. Some stay dry and others feel the pain. We got Sky to dig out of him that he likes the fellas.
Well, I'm not stunned, but that's cool. I was stunned. Well, because we kept saying stuff to him like, oh, you know, the ladies must be all over you and you must be getting dates. And he just, you know, was given real generic answers. You know what? I'm inspired. House of Blues Friday night. That was not going to be on our original set list. We had a lot more like, you know, ACDC and Jet and that kind of stuff. But what's that dude's name? Tayson Day. I only might have to work in some Tayson Day on Friday night. So check this out, P1s. Friday night, 9 o'clock at night, at the House of Blues. Nice venue, dude. Nice venue. Nice venue. We beat the bi-week blues, we're calling it, because there's no Chargers to do this weekend, and they've got to keep me occupied somehow. So I'm bringing the band in from Texas, and we're going to play House of Blues. Charger players are going to be there. Got some Padres players coming. Going to be a real mix and mingle. Is that right? Got a lot of giveaways, too, which is nice. Got some signed merchandise and tickets, a couple pairs of tickets to give away. So, yeah, good time. If you're a Charger fan and you just want to meet some of the players, it's a cool thing to do. But also, if you want to hear some halfway decent cover band music, if I can toot my band's horn. I'm not that good, but they are. It's a very good time. 9 o'clock, House of Blues. How long have you been playing keyboard? Oh, man.
Keys probably like, I don't know, 10, 12 years, Mikey, and I played piano as a kid. Keys. I played piano. All right, great. I'm playing the keys. That's what we say. Yeah, we say keys. What did Hank Bauer think you played yesterday? Drums. He thought I was a drummer. Right. Yeah, which would be fine. I mean, I would if I could, but I can't, so I won't. I played... I played piano bar in college, Mikey, to make money. Is that right? Yeah, did the whole, like, you know, Harry Connick Jr. stuff. What song do you cover that you enjoy playing the most on the keyboard? We do a lot of the stuff that's got, I mean, just hard to handle and that kind of stuff. Some buck cherry, which is fun to do. Anything that's got dirty words in it that I can't say on the air during a Charger game is fun. There you go. Pour some sugar, all that stuff. So, yeah, come bring your honeys and meet some players. 9 o'clock House of Blues on Friday. That's great, man. Hank promises to show, too. Come on. Hank Bauer with a cowbell. He's going to be there? Cowbelled up. Let him on stage. Let him play the cowbell. I'm going to. You know who I want to get up on stage? Serious business is Lorenzo Neal. He's got a great voice. Really? Great voice. Really? Yeah. That's cool, man. Yeah, I would love to have him do backup on, like, I don't know, Play That Funky or something like that. Chuck Lorraine. Chuck Lorraine. Okay, listen, we have to take a break, but when we come back...
We're going to, I don't know if you've ever heard us do this before, Josh. We do this exercise called, I don't like it when. Yeah, I love that. And so Ashley and Rob are going to do, I don't like it when. A throw down, really? They've been fighting a lot, Josh. I like the throw down. Let me explain real quick for those of you that have never heard this. The idea is it's an exercise where one tells the other, I don't like it when. And the deal is that you can't fight about it. You have to hear what the other person has to say and you have to thank them. And it's a cleansing experience. Well, it's meant to be. Doesn't it ever turn out that way? And we got the music, right? We got new music for it? Remember, we're going to do the music. We're going to do like the... We'll talk about it right now. This is the Mikey Show. It's incredible to not be in a contract and have a cellular service. Yeah, you can change things, do whatever you want, and you're not being added on until the year 3000. Right. Yeah, like Eddie and I, we're still in contracts with other providers, even though we've been using Cricut for a long time now, because we're locked into these stupid contracts from like five years ago. It's ridiculous. You don't need it. You don't want it. Get a hold of Cricut. There's Cricut locations everywhere now. You see them all over the place. Get in on that free text messaging. Get in on that free picture messaging. Lots of people love doing this stuff, and you should. You should love doing it. You just shouldn't have to pay for all of it. In just a little bit, we're going to be playing you audio of a guy. that was on the National Geographic Channel being attacked by a python while doing a segment for the National Geographic Channel. It is pretty compelling. Pretty compelling. Josh, I have to know. You're holding a folder that says OAK on it, which I'm sure is, you know, the Oakland Raiders. No, it's all about oak. Is it? Yeah, it's all about oak. I've got one for elm. You're a big fan.
That stuff to me is fascinating. Is that like your study material for the Raiders? You know what it was? Be honest with you, Mikey. It's got flyers for the band gig in there right now for Friday night. But was it? Yeah, this was all my notes about the Oakland Raiders for this past weekend. Do you have handwritten stuff or is it all just stuff you print from the Internet? It's mostly that the Internet has revolutionized everything. Right. I mean, from YouTube and, you know, chocolate rain aside. Right. Yeah, well, what used to be just a, you know, hour, hour, hour-long process. Now you can get stuff in three minutes. Right. But, yeah, no, you've got to know your Raiders. You've got to know that Lamont Jordan and Sean Merriman are tight. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've got to know that stuff. That's good stuff. Got my big, thick oak. There you go. Folder. You've got to have one for a couple weeks from now that says H-O-U. Yep, I've got my Hue. I've got my Ind. That's right. What else have we got? Bolt. So it's bi-week. Houston, Indianapolis. My bi-week folder is very thin. Yeah, I bet. I've got no prep to do on bi. Exactly. All right, Josh, thanks for coming in, man. We'll see you soon. See all the good P1s Friday at House of Blues. Come and rock out with us in the Charger Players. Nine o'clock. There you go, dude. Thank you, man. I appreciate it. We do a time check yet? 8.17. A guy was pulled from his car and beaten in PB after he humped at a guy who was standing in the road.
43-year-old Vinny Testaverde leads Carolina to a win over Arizona 25-10. Tim Rittay ended up being the quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals yesterday. No Matt Leiner, no Kurt Warner. Tim Rittay, who I believe had only been there a few days. Like four days. Guy flew in, they signed him, he's like, okay, this should be cool. He's out there playing. What a trip. Okay, welcome back. Let's do something we like to call I Don't Like It When. I want you to keep in mind that I Don't Like It When is an opportunity for two people on the show to be able to cleanse one another and in a very safe environment, let the other person know what it is that's on their mind and maybe bothering them. And so the two people that are going to be talking to each other today are... Boston, Rob, and Ashley. And a little background. Boston, Rob, and Ashley have been very close friends. I wouldn't say as tight as Skye and Eddie, but who is? No, we're not. But really, who is though? So tight. Anywho, the two of them were very tight. They were, I think some would say, inseparable. Yes. They say they're best friends. Yeah. Where one was.
There was the other. But over the course of time, well, Ashley went through rehab and Boston Rob got a girlfriend. And I guess you could say there were changing dynamics in the friendship. And now they're still friends, albeit a little separated. It's a little strained. A little strained. And sometimes they can be a little bit harsh with one another. They can talk to each other in a... Very impatient way. Sometimes put the other down. They don't talk as much. They don't hang out as much. And so I thought it was time for a little I don't like it when. And we will start with you, Ashley. You can tell Rob what you don't like. Rob, when she tells you what it is that she doesn't like that you're doing, you need to respectfully thank her. Robbie, I don't like it when you give yourself a pity party.
Or say that you can never catch a break. Yet you get in your own way, i.e. you say you're broke, but you buy a new cell phone. Rob is rolling his eyes. You can't do that. Or you broke your nose again, but it turns out you went to boxing even though the doctor told you your nose wasn't healed in the first place. I don't like it when you do that. Wow, starting out strong. No, I just go, right? No, you say thank you. Rob, you say thank you. I just go. You say thank you. Thank you, Ashley. Now, as you guys know, I'm always reading these books on psychology. Yeah. And so I've learned that one of the important parts about this exercise is to allow the person to explain why a particular behavior is happening. That doesn't mean that the other person has to accept it or that makes it better. It only gives context. Okay. So, Rob, if you'd like.
You can explain where you're coming from. Oh. With what? Oh, no. Please. Well, let me address the boxing thing first. I took four weeks off like the doctor told me to. So I figured after that, I could go back. And I did. Is that why your girlfriend told me the doctor said three months? She's really. Really? Honestly, I could get her on the phone. We were outside. You were right there. I didn't hear that. You want me to call my doctor? Calm down. Don't get upset. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it's not about that. Maybe she misunderstood. I think she did. Three months. She's been known to misunderstand things. Go ahead. Go ahead. Yeah, three months and four weeks. They sound identical. It's close. Countable. Well, they're both numbers. Well, I was the one that was at the doctor's. But, yeah. You digress. Whatever she heard is obviously correct. But here's your opportunity to explain. Go ahead, Rob.
So do I go into mine now? No, no, no. You can explain the other thing. No, you don't have to. What about the tattoo and the cell phone? Oh, the cell phone? Well, I had my cell phone for four years or three and a half years. I figured it was time for me to upgrade and I wanted to keep the same number. And so I, you know what? Went out and splurged on myself and I bought myself a new cell phone. But we all, but we work for Cricket because we all get the Cricket. Yeah. And get free phones. Free phones. We all get free phones. Free service. Boston number, so I went with that. Because he should be keeping that Boston number, right? Yeah, you don't live in Boston. He should be living here for three years. Five years. He's been living here on this show for almost three years. But he really wants to keep that Boston number. I don't know why. But anyway. So I can go now? You can go now. You seem almost excited. I'm not. I thought about it all weekend, and you know what I mean? It's good. It could be cleansing. I need to just get it out. So remember how it works, Rob. You have to look at Ashley. You have to tell her, Ashley, I don't like it when. Right. Okay. Ashley, I don't like it when, during dumb chick challenge, you kind of play it off like you don't care, or you'll say things like having headphones helps you focus or make you smarter.
Whatever headphones do it for you or you can't drink water and answer a question at the same time, I don't think it's the water or the headphones. I don't like when you make those excuses. Ashley's looking at me through the glass. She has that look on her face that goes, hmm, interesting. That made a lot of sense. Can I rebuttal? Yes, yes, yes. You may explain. You can explain where you're coming from. It's not a rebuttal. It's just your opportunity to explain to him where you're coming from. Happily. I find it interesting that you complained that I...
need to take my headphones off or keep them on during dumb chick when it's actually Ashley Pyramid, and how is it possible for me to talk when taking a sip of water? I don't even remember saying that, and it sure as hell doesn't make sense. So who's the stupid one? Okay, okay. It's so bad. It wasn't really an explanation. Focus on the music. That's not an explanation. Yeah, focus on the music. I said when it helps you focus her, it makes you smarter. Yes. You're not even listening to what I'm saying. Come on, guys. Hold up. Again, former best friends. We should just focus on it. Thank you. No, that was great. That was great, guys. Is it my turn? Oh, gosh. Ashley, it's your turn. I don't like it when Boston Rob... You wear your designer brand name jeans like Lucky or True Religion. These are like $300 jeans with your dirty ass white sneakers and $3 shirts with the pocket in the front that you buy in five packs at Walmart. That's the high low. Who does that? The what? The high low. What does that mean? We got the...
High-priced jeans and a low-priced shirt. Crusher taught me that. $70 lucky belt buckle. Thank you, Sean. That's kind of cool. Yeah, it is. It's a good style. It's the high-low. True religion jeans. But actually, it's the high-low. It's the high-low. It's the high-low, kid. It's offensive and it's... Absolutely like fashion. Okay, well, my turn. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think he asked me, but I'll say thank you. Thank you. I think he's explaining a side of it. I actually, thank you. Thanks for pointing that out. If anybody's wondering, it's called the high-low. You get some nice jeans and then you do a low-priced t-shirt. Why are you calling it something? Go ahead. Okay, I'll jump into this. The wine is what it is. Ashley, I hate it when... No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. That's not the word news. That's not the word news. Well, the exercise is called... What is it? I don't like it when... What up? Ashley, I don't like it when you wear those ridiculous headbands.
Is that in case your head starts to mimic your armpits and spread a leak? No, wait. That's just insulting. That's just insulting. Now you're just flat out insulting. It said, tell her how you feel. Unless you actually feel that her head is going to sweat like those disgusting armpits. Because a lot of normal people sweat from the head a lot. That's like the first thing. Tell her how you feel. You got to think them too. Say thank you. Thank me. Thank you, first and foremost. No problem, kid. Secondly, this coming from the guy who wore a...
Bond him as a hat when he used to have his dreadlocks. He's worn everything from a bonnet. Is this an explanation? Why am I kidding? He's cutting his own hair, and he's got the net to come at me. Yeah, but she's right. She is right. I mean, she may be right. Go ahead, Ashley. It's your turn. But that's not how it works. Tell Rob what you don't like. I mean, hypocritical. Boston Rob, I don't like it when I'm kidding around with you on the air. We're having a good time, and you take it too far and make a comment that you know will secretly destroy me, a.k.a. implying that I'm a whore, or that I'm stupid, or bringing up past memories on the show that secretly really affect me, like Kemet and Streak, the time I missed Mikey's son's birth because I was too drunk, and throwing it in my face when I thought we were all just having a good time. And you go below the belt. She gets worked up when she talks about this stuff. And it hurts my feelings. Okay. I thank her, right? I thank her, right? I thank you. Thank you. Ashley, I don't like it. You don't want to explain yourself? I'm in the wrong there. Thank you. He admits it.
That's going to make Ashley feel better. Yeah, hey. All right, go Rob. Okay, Ashley, I don't like it when you sing and pump your arms and your fists and do those weird little jazz hands. It's like Mr. Shaky himself, Michael J. Fox, is trying to do the cabbage patch. Like, I don't get it. What is that? Does that help you get the lyrics out? I don't like that when you do that because I really don't like that. I don't either. You're not in this, Mike. That wasn't Beto. You can't jump in. No. Don't try to pretend it was Beto. You're not playing right now, Mike. Explain yourself, Ashley. Um, well, thank you. That's how I dance. If you don't love me for me, then I don't really know what to tell you. That's it, guys. That's it for today. No, no. I've got more. I got, no. Just a couple more, Mike. I do want to hear more. Just a couple. Just a couple. The show's only so long. Okay, Rob. We're going till 11 today. You got yours out. It's Ashley's turn. Ashley. Okay, Rob.
I don't like it when we're on the air and you stand up every time you're trying to make a point. It doesn't help your execution in any way, shape, or form. And it definitely doesn't make you taller. So I don't understand why you do that. That's an insult. It's not about insult. It's insulting. That's insulting. It's accurate, but it's insulting. Rob, would you like to explain why you do that? I'll explain that real quick. Why do you do that? Where my studio is, I can't always see Eddie. Not in Death Valley, bro. Or the bottom of the Grand Canyon. So when I stand up, I kind of angle myself where I can see everyone on the show. That's why I do stand up when I get engaged. That's a good explanation. Now, Rob, do you have one for Ashley? I got one. Then we're going to wrap it up. Oh, no. I really don't like it. I don't think you're not supposed to do that. It's just I don't like it when. I got to write that down or something. I'm sorry. Ashley, I don't like it when you sweat profusely. Could you maybe get a maxi pad or some pampers or something? Just put it under there for the show because it's kind of...
I don't know, distracting. Ashley, it's okay if he doesn't like something. It doesn't make it wrong. It just means that he doesn't like it. That's all. All I'm saying is it's really distracting every time I try to look at it. Like right now. Thank you. Thank you. It looks like Lake Victoria is building up under there. Okay, that's great. Thank you. Keep saying things that you don't like about my physical appearance because that makes a girl feel really good about it. Oh, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. Because that's working out really well. Okay, well. All right, hold on. I got one not about physical appearance. If you want to go physical appearance, I don't like your Boston tattoo on your throat. How about that? Okay, let's stop the physical appearance. What about when she says happy birthday? What is that? Is she a cartoon elephant? It's so stupid. Oh, I'm sorry. Not everyone knows that. I think this was good. I don't think that went well. I think they're back to being really good friends. I think it went really well.
Well, he's yelling, and she looks like she's about to cry, so I think it really works out good. The Mikey Show continues. Thank you for being big enough to laugh at yourself this morning. Eddie ran into a guy, and a guy's got a restaurant, and Eddie says, this restaurant's really cool, right? Yeah, brand new sushi restaurant in Del Mar off of Jimmy Durante Boulevard called Pearl Sushi Restaurant and Champagne Lounge. Very cool place. And wanted to come in and give a little shout-out. Now, we're going to talk to Jay, right? Yes. Jay's the GM over there? Mm-hmm. Wow, this is a cool-looking menu. There's stuff on here that I haven't seen before. Hey, Jay. Good morning, guys. How are you, man? Hey, hang on a second. There we go. Jay, how you doing, man? Doing fantastic. How's everybody doing this morning? Good. The restaurant is called Pearl Sushi Restaurant. And for people that love sushi, man, it looks like you've got a pretty wide variety here. Yeah, we have an extremely extensive menu. It's fantastic. Our chef is Chef Makoto Okua, who's from Iron Chef fame. You might know him. Wow. Might have seen him on TV. Really? He was Miramoto's... basically apprentice and head sushi chef for Miramoto's in both New York and Philadelphia for the last five years. Holy cow. So we were very lucky to bring him out here to San Diego and provide the best sushi in all of California. That's pretty cool, man. And so it's a sit-down place, though, right? I mean, you can go in there, you can sit at the sushi bar, but also sit down, have a meal, that kind of thing? Absolutely. It's actually Japanese fine dining, and we offer a full, complete menu from hot and cold appetizers to soup salads and entrees.
wonderful desserts, and an extremely extensive sashimi and nigiri and maki selection. Anybody that knows me knows I'm a foodie. I love food, man. I love different kinds of stuff. I love trying different flavors and things like that. And so definitely for sure, man. I mean, this looks like something pretty cool. What's one of your guys' specialties? One of our signature dishes is the Toro Snow Mountain that you'll see on our menu that I brought in. It's actually chilled with nitrogen. So it's almost icy, like, crystalline icy when you first get it, and then as it warms up, the texture completely changes. So your first bite's almost completely different than the last bite. What a trip, man. You got that Kobe beef, too, I see. Lots of different Kobe beef selections. We have some Kobe short ribs. Weird, because I see, like... little mini beef tacos that have sushi in them. But then I also see kind of like an Italian thing, the buffalo mozzarella with the tomatoes and basil with sushi. So it's like you're having different kinds of food and you're putting sushi on it. Absolutely, yeah. Chef Makoto loves to fuse different styles of food from French to English to... There's Indian here. Absolutely. Angry chicken is tandoori chicken, tomato risotto, baby patty pan squash, and fried basil.
It's absolutely delicious. One of my personal favorites. I also love the miso sake black cod. It's fantastic. And also the halibut cheeks is an amazing dish. The texture on that is something that I've never had before. Those aren't actually cheeks of a halibut, are they? It's actually 100% a cheek of a halibut. They're real yummy, Scott. Fantastic flavor. The cheeks are the best part. That's weird. Not in the eyeballs. Okay, no, thank you. No, out on eyeballs. What? Thank you. Give me the location again. We're at 2010 Jimmy Durante Boulevard. We're basically right around the corner from the track. So if you're going down to the track, just keep going past, and we're on the right-hand side. If you're coming from the plaza in Del Mar, we're just up the road about a half a mile. Dude, that's awesome, man. Well, hey, man, I appreciate you coming in and telling us about it for sure. Jay is the GM, and so, yeah, you'll be around there. Some people walk in there. They can ask, can I see the guy that was on the radio? Absolutely. Please do. Yeah, my name is Jay Jones. Come on in. We are also doing our grand opening celebration this weekend, the 18th, 19th, and the 20th. So we've got a lot of really great promotions going on, entertainment. It's going to be fantastic. I also did bring in a little bit of food for you guys to try, if you'd like. What did you bring? Don't mind if I do. You didn't bring any cheeks, did you? I did not bring any cheeks. This is just cold stuff. Just a couple little things to try. I have some fried tofu.
Oh, look at those fancy little boxes. And then I also have a photomaki roll, which is one of our specialty rolls. Sweet. And so take a look at those. These are prepared in the traditional, actually, sushi to go style. I think that's been going on for about 600 years. This is how you generally find it in Japan. Dude, that is awesome. That is some cool stuff, man. Well, thank you. That's so nice of you. Yeah, I appreciate you. Check it out. I appreciate you coming in. Definitely my pleasure. Definitely my pleasure. And bringing that stuff, that's very cool. Thank you very much. That's Jay Jones. He's the assistant GM over there at Pearl Sushi in Del Mar. And I looked at the menu, man. You should check it out. It looks like some pretty good stuff. Quick email. Yeah, you can also check us out at pearl... At PearlDelMar.com. PearlDelMar.com. Thank you, bro. I really appreciate you coming in, Matt. Featuring Mikey. I like to judge people and be critical of people. Eddie. I have an unusually large tongue. Sky. I like ham. What kind? Honeybee. Okay. Sean, a.k.a. Two Shirt Shakur. I do not wear two t-shirts. Boston Rob. The last two years of my high school career, I went to Catholic school. And Ashley. I hate other people's feet. The Mikey Show's on. Tell me a lie, I'm nerd alert. Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the show. It is 849. Lindsay Lohan is reportedly broke after she spent all her money on drugs, living in hotels, and then rehab. That's what I'm talking about. Chargers beat the Raiders 28-14 off of LT's four touchdowns. So I don't know if you have heard this story, but apparently there's a guy that works for National Geographic that was attacked by a python.
and they were had on the guy on the Today Show this morning. You see what happened to National Geographic's Brady Barr while he was taping a recent episode of his show, Dangerous Encounters. He had a real close encounter with a 12-foot reticulated python. People own those, by the way. I mean, you know, it's making news and everything, but, I mean, people have these in their house right now as pets. I know, I know. I'm going in. I'm going in. I'm going in. Oh, crap. You just bit the rock. Be careful. He's got a mouthful of teeth. I've got him by the head. Oh, he's out. He's loose. Okay, can you pull him? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Here he comes. Now, you can't see this, so let me explain. You see a bunch of guys dressed like Steve Irwin in, like, khakis, okay? Khaki shorts, khaki shirts, stuff like that. And they are in what appears to be an underground cave in water that is about...
crotch deep, or, you know, B-Rob's shoulders, and they're walking through the... It's actually not water. It's not water? No. That is liquefied bat guano. Shut your mouth. Come on, come on. I'm not kidding. Bat poop? Is that what the python's in? The python is living in those crevices and stuff. In the rocks? I wonder what it would normally feed on in there. There's probably bats. Oh, so it's killing bats. So they're walking in liquefied bat guano. There's a delicacy in some places. Not really, but they're walking in there. It's pitch black. They've got little lanterns on their hats, which are cute. And then this happens. And here comes the hand. Watch it. So, oh my gosh. Okay, now wait a minute. What is going on? Okay, so he's standing there. They see the python go into the water and you hear him start going, hey, there's the head. Watch out. It bites him. Shut up. Let me rewind it. Let me rewind it because that's what happens. It hadn't gotten a hold of him yet. Oh my gosh. Watch out.
Brady Barr, good morning to you. Hey, top of the morning to you. Yeah, top of the morning to you. Or not. Bit him on his leg just below the boys. Yeah, how are you feeling, first of all? We'll talk about exactly what happened, but you got severely bitten. How are you doing? Oh, man, I'm great. That was about three months ago, but that's an early morning eye-opener, that's for sure. So you're waiting in that... dung and scorpions in this cave in indonesia you like this job is that correct oh man i got the best job in the world i'm a herpetologist i know you do not oh worst job you have the worst job in the world reptiles and anytime you can spend some time with giant reticulated pythons is a good day but that doesn't look like a good day that looks like a bad day yeah it takes brass balls to me it looks like the opposite of a good day thank you This python in the wall, you tried to pull it out. By the way, as all this is going on, every once in a while, you see a bat flutter by. It's appropriate. In this pitch black cave, waist deep in what looks like dirty water, but as Eddie said, bat guano. And the python is biting the guy's leg, and you can't even see its head because it's under the guano.
One thing leads to another, and all of a sudden the snake's in the water with you, and you can't find the head of the snake, which is not a good thing when you're dealing with a python, correct? Oh, man, these guys have over 100 recurve needle-sharp teeth, and you do not want to feel the bite from one of these things. It's not a venomous bite, though, correct, Brady? No, that's correct. These are constrictors. They put on the big squeeze. They squeeze their prey. They just use this bite. They use the bite as an anchoring point just to hang on to their prey. Imagine his legs probably going all numb. Oh, yeah. Because it's wrapped around his leg and it's squeezing his leg. While biting it. While biting it. And how many shots do you have to get for a wound which is soaking in bat poop? Oh, dude. Dude. I didn't even think of that. Not good. Well, at least it's only one puncture wound, right? They've only got one big two. Oh, no. A hundred. Over a hundred. A hundred needle, like. Razor sharp. I want to show people, and unfortunately, we've got a lot of people sitting at home. Oh, my. No, I don't want to see that. Uh-oh. What? They're lifting up in the cave. No. They put the camera after they get the snake off of him. Oh, no. They put the camera. They lift up the back of his shorts. And you just see where this thing sunk its teeth into his little soft skin. Oh, no.
And now eating their Cheerios, but I want to show this bite. Oh, my God. No way. No way. Don't come in here, Ashley. No. Ashley, don't. It looks like OJ got a hold of this guy. Yeah, that looks like a small shark or something. Yeah, well, what's strange about it is it almost looks like somebody took a knife to his leg. Yeah. Yeah. It almost looks like somebody just took a knife. And I don't mean stabbed him. I mean sliced him. Like they're getting ready to operate. Right. Oh, my goodness. Like sliced. Okay, I'm good. Right now, I mean, that is a nasty gash. And complicating this whole thing is you're in a very remote area of Indonesia. How much danger were you in? Oh, now they're showing him laying in this dirty, filthy, clandestine Indonesian medical room with this Indonesian doctor. swabbing his wounds. The danger was really the chance of infection. I mean, I've got these gaits. And he's wincing like, ah, ah. Every time the little alcohol-soaked cloth touches his wound, he goes, ah. Ow, it hurts. Open wounds that are filled with bat feces and in a remote location. So that was the real danger. I mean, it was a 27-hour journey. Now this, what they're doing, is really cool.
They're showing a 3D animated version of the python under the water. And what they've done is they've digitally taken the skin off the python so it appears as a skeletal creature swimming under the water. And then when they show his leg, they've done the same with his legs. So they've stripped the skin off digitally with this 3D animation. to show you his femur bone and muscle, and they digitally wrap this python around the dude's leg and have it chomp in. medical attention. And isn't it true that a colleague of yours had recently lost a leg due to infection that had to be going through your mind? Yeah, it was going through my mind, but if you're a field researcher and you work on wild animals, or whether you're a geologist working on volcanoes or an oceanographer working in the deep sea, there are risks in what you do, and we just try to minimize those risks when we're in the field.
Yeah, but when is it too much? I mean, the show is called Dangerous Encounter, so you're telling people right off the bat that you're going to put yourself in dangerous situations, but what about the risk-reward? I mean, not only is it you in that cave in that water with that python, but you've got a crew there as well. How much danger are you willing to put those people in? Matt, that's not what it's about. I mean, I know you want to attack everyone. Like, he thinks of stuff to attack people about I haven't even thought of. Where were you when the JonBenet Ramsey case happened, sir? Matt, I'm not even... I was out of the country. Oh, really? Can you prove that? No, but I mean, I don't know that... I've been doing this for a long, long time, over a decade, and the number of accidents that have occurred, you know, I can count on my fingers. We're really, really... Fingers that are left. Yeah, exactly. But it is called dangerous encounters. Can I ask you a question, sir? Explain 9-11. If you are willing to do this. You work on crocodiles or you work on snakes. These are dangerous animals, but you just try to take every precaution while you're out there. Well, we're happy you're okay. You didn't take every precaution. You got legs in a pair of shorts, bro. Matt Lauer is going to ask him how Steve Irwin's family feels about him. Oh, he will. Yeah. I know you. Hey, he says the guy. I know you think this is real funny. Right.
But what do you think that Irwin's family thinks watching this? You think that brings back a lot of bad memories for them? And any family that has had to deal with the horror of a child being bitten by a snake. Oh, my God. You monster. How dare you. Please be careful, all right, Brady? Always. Thanks for having me. Now, I don't want to mention to our viewers the dangerous encounter. I wish they hadn't turned his mic off yet, and you hear him going, what the? Yeah. What did I do? Why is Lauer coming out? I just wanted to talk about the show. I thought it would be cool. Snakebite airs this Saturday at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on the National Geographic Channel. Which, by the way, for DirecTV users, is now available in HD. That National Geographic Channel is now in HD. So you can see that guy get bitten in his leg in high definition. That was nuts. Speaking of nuts, you guys know Clapton wrote a book, right? Tell All, biography, autobiography. Yeah. He's talking about his life. He talks about how he wanted to kill Mick Jagger. Who hasn't? He talks about a lot of different crazy stuff. But yeah, one of the things is how in the 80s, he really, really, really wanted to kill Mick Jagger and was like...
Making a mental plan on how he was going to do away with Mick Jagger. Because I guess Mick, you know, stole one of his girlfriends at one point. Which is weird. Just flat out weird. Now, this is something I didn't know. And it says it's been widely known. I didn't know this. They say it's been widely known that Eric Clapton wrote the song Layla about his obsession with... Does anybody know what I'm going to say next? Yeah, I've read this. You've read this, Skye? Yeah. Before this day, you knew about this. Yeah. Eddie. I know I've heard this, but I can't recall it. He wrote the song Layla about his obsession with George Harrison's wife. George Harrison, the Beatles. Yeah. He broke his silence to Larry King about it, about how it all went down. Well, how are they saying that he broke his silence? Oh, maybe he hasn't talked about it. It's been widely known, but he doesn't talk about it.
Cut 35. Their marriage was failing. So I thought, well, what have I got to lose? I mean, that's the one thing that I think none of us have ever really been sure of. Because George was, like his record label, was a dark horse. And he didn't always tell you exactly what he was thinking. So it may have been that it hurt him more than he let on, you know. It was fairly obvious, you know. We weren't that discreet. And I remember his response was, I'll swap her for your girlfriend. And that may have been the time, the period of time that we were in. He was very kind of cavalier. That's one of the weirder things I've ever heard. You guys know about that? Eddie, had you heard that? No, I think I haven't. I thought I did, but maybe not. That was weird. And he was kind of like, it didn't sound like he felt too bad about it. That's no big deal. Hey, listen, you know, they were getting out of their marriage. I figured I'd have me a little try, right? A bit of Layla. Why would he be upset about it? He'd already had a try. That is a strange story, man. This ought to be good. Whoopi Goldberg admits that as a comedian, she steals jokes. Cut seven.
And in the 70s, we're talking about like Seinfeld, Elaine Boosler, Robin Williams, your boyfriend Robin, people like that. Or in this talk, Pryor. And there's all these like little nasty things that they say about them. Like they say that Robin stole material. Is that true? You know him. Well, you know, he comes from a great long tradition. All comics steal material. They do? Yes, yes, they do. Yes, they do. Milton Berle stole material. We all do because we hear something. make it better well that's the idea is you hear something and you and you mush it around and you do you take it to this next level it's what i do with richard with prior i i loved what he did so i took what he did and made it how i do it and now other people are taking my stuff and making it how they do it we do it all there's a difference between stealing a joke and doing an homage to a previous performer which is what you were maybe describing with no i'm talking about stealing a joke Well, what was interesting about that is that, well, it's been reported, I've never seen any evidence of it, that Joy Behar's a comedian. No, that's not true. Come on. That's what they say. No way. It's a terrible joke. It can't be true, right? I mean, we've seen her on that stupid show. I've heard her. That's a joke. It's got to be a joke. But it's just interesting because it sounds like she disagrees a little bit. Like she goes, they do?
Well, you're a comedian, don't you? Maybe you should. And if you don't say it. Maybe you should. You should do Whoopi's act. But what Whoopi is trying to say is that she... Whoopi. Is that she flat out steals stuff. What do you guys think of that? Eh, you know. Is it ballsy that she's admitting it or does it suck that she... It takes brass balls. I understand what she's saying. You know, like that she'll hear something and kind of make it her own. I would be okay with that. If you make it your own. But you can't do what Mencia does and repeat the joke timing wise. Everything verbatim. That's brutal to me. And then deny it.
something like you do a certain bit and people know that it's your bit and then you see another comic do that same exact thing like they might change a word that's stealing that's not that's actually not well listen here's my attitude there has not been a new joke since 1904 every joke that is out there has been told in some way shape or form if someone is doing your act That's stealing. If someone takes a joke of yours and reworks it, that's not stealing. If they're doing your act, no, you can't go after them. Because you didn't write it necessarily. Well, you guys know me, man. I'm on the fence about it. There's a part of me that says, yeah, you're absolutely right. There's a part of me that goes, well, what Mencia did was wrong. Yeah, you should at least try to be original. Has anybody even tried that? Mencia did that Cosby bit. About how moms do all this stuff for their sons. They raise them, blah, blah, blah. And then the first thing the son does when he scores a touchdown is turn and look at the camera. Or dads. I got it wrong. Dads do all this stuff for their sons. They raise them. They teach them how to play football. They spend all this time with them. They work with them. And then the first thing they do after they score a touchdown is turn and look at the camera and say, thanks, mom. Or love you, mom. Or hi, mom. Or whatever. It's Cosby's bit. And when you hear them back to back, they are identical.
And they're identical in the way the story is told. It's got the same cadence. It's got the same everything. I think it's really stupid when comedians, I've heard this a couple times, like say, there are no new jokes. There hasn't been a new joke since 1904. Really? There was TV cameras and football played in 1904? So obviously that joke was written by Bill Cosby. Right. Any jokes about the Internet were written back in 1904. Yeah. Like, I mean, what are you talking about? Yeah. Well, I understand that the spirit of what she's saying is that everything that we hear today has been done. And I don't agree with that. I don't agree with that at all. I don't agree. Because, you know, now, see, this was an interesting conversation because I was having this conversation with our program director, Shauna, and her husband, Justin, at dinner. And. She was saying, you know, she goes, I don't buy that either because look at a guy like Zach Galifianakis. She goes, that guy is so original and so blah, blah, blah. And the first thing that came to my mind was I've never seen Galifianakis, but I've heard people compare him to Andy Kaufman. And her husband goes, that's not true. People say that he rips off Andy Kaufman. And I go, I've heard that. So what about someone like Hedberg? Stephen Wright. That's the thing.
You know, they say that Mitch Hedberg, that Stephen Wright, like those are totally original guys. No, I'm saying Mitch Hedberg stole his act from Stephen Wright. Oh, really? Yeah, I think so. Really? Yeah. It's very similar. I can see that. Is Stephen Wright original? I don't know anybody that did that before him, but there could have been. I don't know. See, what's strange to me is that, like, does it really matter if people are laughing, you know? I guess it does to them because it's like, you know, this is me. You know, this is my work. This is what I've, you know, tried so hard to be successful at. And then some joker comes around and is doing me and being good at it. And that sucks. Here's the deal. I was talking to Craig Gass about this Friday night. And I do believe that it's kind of not going to say the word wrong. I'll say not cool.
Okay. Not wrong. Just not cool, man. Yeah, because, you know, it's like this. If you're walking down the street, I'm not going to go there. I'm just going to explain what I said to Craig. Okay. Digging myself a deeper hole. I'm just going to say what I said to Craig. If it's a comedian that is a big comedian ripping off from unknown comedians, I do think that that is not cool. I think that that is not cool. Yeah, that's like, I don't know, one of the comedians on Friday said it's like the rich stealing from the poor. Yeah. If it's a smaller comedian. Like B-Rob's height? Yeah, yeah. Well, not that small. Nobody can even see him. Nobody can see him on stage. I'm trying to get a visual. No. But what I'm saying is if it's a smaller comedian and he's doing that.
For whatever reason, it's not as wrong. It's still wrong, but it's not as wrong. I feel you. I get what you're saying. I'll take it to make another analogy about it. We have had disc jockeys that are in smaller towns than San Diego do stuff The Mikey Show does. I mean, actually, just take it from us. And I'm okay with it. I really am. They're trying to get their thing going. You know what I mean? If Seacrest takes my bit, I'm upset. Because I'm trying, you know, I would love to be syndicated or in Los Angeles and New York or whatever. You know what I mean? But when the big guy's doing it to the little guy, I'm not saying it's wrong. I'm saying it's not cool, man. It's not cool, man. It's not cool.

Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married was the number one movie this weekend, making $21.5 million. The Cincinnati Reds have a new manager. They signed Dusty Baker as their new manager. Who was it, Eddie? Dusty Baker. No, no, no. Who did it? Cincinnati Reds. Oh, wow. P1 Trivia here in just a second. A Boy Scout was attacked by a black bear while camping in Pennsylvania. Oh, no. Blunder. Happened Saturday night. I'm eating peanut butter. That's what happens. All over his beard. Happened Saturday night when this 12-year-old was in his tent in an organized camp in the Pocono Mountains. According to the park manager, the boy was attacked while he was inside the tent. And the bear punctured the boy's buttocks. Did he blow his whistle? No, you got to make noise with pots and pans. Yeah, was his boy scout friends making noises? Bear. There you go. That's what gets him out of there. Get out of here, bear. Come on, bear, get out. Marling my face. And buttocks. Stop eating me, bear. He got rabia vaccinations. Three puncture wounds in the buttocks.
How did he have peanut butter on his buttocks? It's really weird. We should ask Blunder. I'm sure he did that. I'm sure he does that. What hurt more? The bear or the python? That's easily the python. I mean, Skye, if you had to choose one, which would you choose? I would take the python. Why? You would take the python over? A bear? Well, see, I'm thinking thigh versus butt injury. First of all, take into consideration the situation this python was at. That's really weird. I don't want to know why. I mean, I get it. I didn't even hear it. Anyway, what? Think about where this python was. Oh, it's disgusting and that is awful. It's both terrible, but a bear?
biting you is like crazy. Three puncture wounds in the comfort of your tent in the butt. Yeah. Or a hundred puncture wounds in the disgusting filth of bat guano. Oh, we saw it. It wasn't a hundred puncture wounds. It looked like a big, you know, like gash. Yeah, but when it first went in there, hundred. It slashed him open. Yeah, it probably hurt. I'll take that bear any day, man. Yeah, I think I'm with you, Mike. I don't want no snake. You got to get the rabies shots. Yeah, you got to get the tetanus and all the other stuff with the snake too. No, I'm sure that's clean. Sanitary. It's fine. Sterilized. It was all sterilized. No. Yeah, Sean, which one would you take? Are you kidding me? Does the snake have to be in the guano? Dude, it's the same situation. Sean's about to melt down. Your choices are a bear attacking your butt.
Through the tent. He didn't attack his butt. Sinking his teeth into your buttocks. That has not been proven. Or a python in bat guano. Sticking a hundred little needles into your leg. While the water, while the bat guano filled water seeps into the wound. Say uncle. Say uncle. I want that to be my ringtone. Ace Ventura. She's all about Ace Ventura lines this morning. Oh, Batguano. Hello. I don't get any of that. Ace Ventura. Come on, Sean. Choose. Pick a bear. Oh, you're nuts. Do you know who is not a slave? Who's most overweight? Who's a German fuck? Yeah, Sean. Do you know who's in to say? B-Rock. Let's do some trivia, y'all. Let's do it.
All right, the way that we play is very similar to the Dumb Chick Challenge in that questions are assigned a point value, one through three. Ones are easy. Threes are hard. First person of five wins. P1, Rude Dog. Hey, what's up, Mikey? Not too much, dude. How old are you, Rude Dog? I will be 34 on Thursday. Oh, happy birthday week. Happy birthday week to you, Sky. Yeah, what up? Congratulations. P1, Tracy, are you there? I'm here. Hi, Mikey. Hi. How old are you? 27. All right. Both of you guys have the opportunity to be able to come into the studio. Can you both come into the studio on Friday if you win? Yes. Absolutely. Got it. Sky, who went first last time? The girls went first last time. All right. That means, P1 Rude Dog, you're up. Let's go big. You want a three-pointer? I want a three-pointer. What are you, Sky?
Come on. It's so funny because the first question in the three-pointers is something we just talked about. I can't do it. It's the blunder story. Can't do it. Okay, your three-point question is what is Skye's latest nickname? What is Skye's latest nickname? It refers to her pronunciation of words. Oh, my goodness. I didn't write this question, and Eddie, I can tell by the look on his face, he didn't write this question. It's pretty hard. Say what? I said stutter mouth. That'll work. I mean, that'll work. No, no one's ever called me. How can we say he's wrong? No one's ever called me. I'm going to give that one to you. The answer's flubsy. Hey, sounds close enough. That works. You're giving him that? Well, I mean.
I would say give him a different question because you're going to give him three points. That's huge. Give him a different question. All right, you get a different one, bro. I'll take a different question in the interest of the game. Who won the cook-off between Eddie and Sky, and what did the loser have to do? Eddie won, and Sky, did she have to dress up? Oh, you guys are talking about it. She had to dress up in a French maid's outfit? That is correct. Hey! Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was phenomenal. That was really good, dude. I even had to think about what the punishment was. We've done a lot of those over the years. I didn't. Yeah. Tracy? Yes. One, two, or three-pointer? To make it good, I'll go three. Oh. Oh, jeez. What member of the show collects snow globes? Can I steal? Sky. Did you say sky? I did. That is incorrect. Oh. Can I steal?
Yes, you can. It's not going to be worth any points, but I'll let you answer. Sean. Sean does it. He's a globie. He's a globie. Guys, he's a glober. There's no such thing. I always get that mixed up. No such thing. Globies are nerds. He's a globe. He's a globe. Globophobe. You glovert. Globo. Still nothing. Globie. Globert. All right, P1 Rude Dog, what do you want? You want a two-pointer to wrap it up, or you want to go easy? Let's feel this. Got it. Take two. Jeez. Good breathing so hard. Sean. P1 Rude Dog, what, Mikey, show P1 as a female attorney? Oh, P1 Vanessa. That is correct. There it is. You can put him in the studio. Yep. You have won, P1 Rude Dog. Tracy, you're going to have to try again another time. Okay, thank you. Thank you. You know, I would have let her win. I would have let her win as well. Huh? A what? I-ba-ba-ba-ba-boo. Oh. I would have let her win if she'd have got something right, but I didn't feel she was the greatest P1 there. She's going to have to bone up on her Mikey show stuff. Hang on, Rude Dog. Hey, thanks a lot, guys. We'll see Rude Dog on Friday. He's a good P1. Yeah. That's right. Rude Dog is a good P1. Yeah. Let's see. I have so much material today.
We got to do the Ann Coulter stuff again. Got to talk about the Ann Coulter insulting the Jews. Get to that in just a little bit. Mikey, the subject line is B-Rob wears condoms on his head. He says, how is it that he got his ex, Heather, pregnant? Signed, P1 Freedom Frog. It's a good question. Guy's so into condoms. Allegedly. Where does that stand, by the way? Waiting for the test results. This one's about Dumb Chick Challenge. Mikey, were those chicks dropped on their heads as a child? Because I swear they are all retarded. Signed, Corky from Life Goes On. Oh, man. That's a little... Really offensive. That's not cool. A little much. Hey. That's a big supporter of your career. This one is about P1 Anna playing Dumb Chick Challenge. It says, would somebody get a plumbing snake and get the garbage out of P1 Anna's throat?
Oh. Sincerely, Rita Cosby. Rita, you have all seen it. How you doing? I'm going to talk, Rita. Hey, just wanted to let you know that the Pearl Sushi restaurant you guys were talking about is real good. My fiance works as an interior designer in the same complex as the restaurant, and we got to go be one of the test service people, and the food is excellent. Try the quail meatloaf. Oh, what? I know. That's crazy. I'm scared. Signed P1 Time Warner. That's a little much. The quail meatloaf. How do they make a meatloaf out of a quail? That's a good question. They're so teeming. I don't know if you guys know about this, but apparently today is going to be the first day of Drew Carey hosting The Price is Right. I got to hear what this sounds like. Cut five. I couldn't wait to see you.
I'm going to cry. You're going to cry? I'm going to cry. Oh, don't cry yet. Wait till you hear this. Don't do it. Marie, you're going to play Planko for a chance to win up for $50,000. Well, she's 50 times more entertaining than he is. She should host the show and have to go potty. I smell a setup. Yeah, I kind of did too, but are they allowed? Isn't it illegal? I probably forgot. Isn't it illegal? I thought that whole movie game show was about illegal having people be plants. Right. But maybe she also happens to be an actress, but she's going to win money. They'll really give it to her. She happened to be in the audience. She happened to be there. Dear Mikey, of course Sean would take getting bit by the bear. He's got a panda costume. Oh. Hello. I didn't even think of that. It's like a Saturday night, huh, Sean? Oh. Bird.
Holy Toledo. In your face, Sean. Sean, you're not going to respond to that? What, you're not going to dignify it? I don't have anything to say. You're not going to dignify that? I've said it, you know, enough times so that you people know that there is a non-sexual component to it. And, you know, what can I say? You want to keep going at it? Go at it. I can't stop it. You do it for funsies. You don't do it for the sexual dynamic of it. I'm not going to go over this again. I'm confused. I don't get it. Explain. I wish he'd clarify. I'll clarify for him. Oh, okay. What's up? He's a fervor. You know what he's doing. Now it makes sense. Fervor. Wow. No, Sean, you're not. You don't do that stuff. You like the booths. Can we move on, please? With the kettle corn and the... How do you eat through the mascot mask? I mean, can you imagine a guy? Like, in line at a booth.
You know, and he's like in his costume, with his hands to his side. He's just like moving up in line. Hi, I'll take a small Twizzler. I can't hear you through your mask. I'll take a Diet Coke. I'll take a small Twizzler. Can I get a Milk Dirt? You don't wear masks. Can I get a Milk Dirt? What is it called, the head? Can I get a kettle corn? It's not a mask. Can I get a medium kettle corn? It goes over your face. Can you tell me where the restroom is, please? Does anyone know where the restroom is? Very weird. Can I get a churro and a pack of bamboo shoots? Yeah, I might get a hot dog, a small black coke, and oxygen. What happened? Attention. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock.

South 163 was pretty tough this morning. It's still finding heavy traffic here from Washington through Balboa Park all the way down to the 5 Freeway. 805 is looking much better. Now just a bit slow from Balboa heading up over to 52 towards Governor Drive. Your 15 commute south into Escondido looks pretty nice here. Just a minor delay in the construction area. Get around to Bernardo. And the Coaster Ride, South Point 5, still a bit slow from Birmingham Drive down to Manchester. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. What's your name, bro? P1 Bloody Bill. P1 Bloody Bill. Tell the story as briefly as you can. Okay. After I had first signed up for AIS about six months ago, I called back with the insurance company that I originally had to see if I can get a better deal now that I had a quote from AIS. And I talked to them and they basically told me no. And about two months later, I got the gift card in the mail. And so I called them up to see why they had sent me a gift card, and they said it was from somebody I referred, and they told me the name of the person. I didn't recognize the name at all. They said her name was Amy, and he's like, I don't know an Amy. And finally, she mentioned off the cuff that she just happened to work for the insurance company that I had called for before. So what had happened was it was the lady that I had called to get a better quote from, called into AIS to get a new quote.
So the lady who works for your old insurance company heard that you got a better deal with AIS, and she then switched over to AIS? Oh, my God. So anyway, dude, thank you for telling us this story. I appreciate it, man. Nice. I appreciate you. Thank you, bro. AIS is number 1-800-777-4AIS. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. I find that I am actually afraid of many animals. Eddie. I train my brain to try and move objects. Scott. I am extremely frugal and pretty much only buy things when they're on sale. Sean. I tend to think a lot about creating inventions for law enforcement. Boston Rob. I'm the only guy I know that's able to pull off, getting pulled over in the courthouse parking lot, wall parking. And get a ticket. And Ashley. I'm extremely prone to self-inflicting injury. The Mikey Show's on. It's worth every penny. Rock 105.3.
I like coming up with impromptu lyrics for Icky Thumb. It's 939. A brothel in La Mesa was busted this weekend after neighbors complained to the police. It's not Malaysia. You said La Mesa. La Mesa? Are you sure it wasn't a brothel in Malaysia? No, it was a nice neighborhood in La Mesa. Oh, weird. LT had a nice juicy game. He ran for 198 yards at four touchdowns as the Chargers beat the Raiders 28-14. You know, we haven't even talked about Al Gore winning the Nobel Peace Prize. He did? Yeah, and it happened like last week. We didn't talk about it. Of course he did. He's awesome. Yeah, that is the truth. He's awesome? Yeah. Wow. Here is some of his comments after it was announced. Cut one. Thank you all very much. I'm, of course, deeply honored to receive this award. I want to thank the Nobel Committee.
Tipper and I will go to Oslo and I will accept this award on behalf of all of those who have been working so long and so hard to try to get the message out about this planetary emergency. He's very dynamic. He didn't get the presidency? It's weird. I like him. Actually, he did. was taken away from him by the Supreme Court. Thank you, Sean. Wow in your face, Eddie. For my part, I will be doing everything I can to try to understand how to best use the honor and recognition of this award as a way of speeding up the... Promoting Leo DiCaprio's movies. The change in awareness and the change in urgency. I won't do it. It truly is a planetary emergency. And we have to respond quickly. There's an old African proverb that says if you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. I'm going to get in my private jet and get out of here. We have to go far quickly. And burn some tires. Shut up. I'm not going to do it, but you should do it for sure.
We are in a global emergency that you guys should adhere to. As soon as I do not what I say. As soon as I don't do what I'm talking about, I'll be sure to start not doing it some more. He's the best. I do think we should all pay attention to global warming because it is getting hotter and stuff. Yes. And those glaciers sure do seem to be melting every time I look at specials on the National Geographic Channel. Want the planet to be good for the future. Yeah, I do. I totally do. I just, boy, that Al Gore, he should start doing it too. Like, we're not the only ones that have to do it, Al. Well, it's true. As you sit in your mansion with every light on in the planet. Jerk. $12,000 bill. Power bill. That's pretty bad. Explain it. The hot one. Damn global warming. Got to run that EC all the time. Got a bill. Power bill, $12,000. Then when they found out about it, the media reported it. He's switching over to solar. Leave him alone. He said, oh, yeah, yeah, sorry about that. I'll fix it. Takes a while. Try to get that thing down to $4,000 by next month. So did you guys hear about the Coke and Pepsi delivery drivers that got into a fight? Oh, yeah. I haven't heard anything about this, but I guess we have a clip about it or something. Cut nine.
or pepsi well it's a matter of taste but police say it's also a rivalry that turned violent outside the walmart in indiana they tell us drivers from coke and pepsi were there delivering their products when a verbal argument escalated and more each claims the other tried to run him over with pallets full of pop as the victim left the store Then the suspect came over and got into a physical confrontation with him and struck him a few times. Police suspect the Coke guy of pushing and the Pepsi guy of blowing his top, throwing at least two pops over Pop. He hit him in the face and gave him a black eye and apparently broke his nose. Coke would only say their guy is doing okay after the fight. Pepsi says their name has been canned. They want the whole world to know that he got the better of it. Who knew? Yeah, I guess the fight started because they were fighting over shelf space to stock their product. Thank you. I'd love to see that go down. Dude, it's not your company. Right? Give it up. It's okay. You're not the CEO. Yeah. It's cool, man. Whatever. Get up next time. Hey, less work for you, dude. You know what? You should probably take up this whole shelf. Right? Please. I can't imagine getting that mad about it.
The Dr. Pepper guy was in the corner eating a Slim Jim. Didn't give a rip. Thought it was hysterical. Let's see. Where's my news? Where's my news? Oats doesn't like dessert. That's true. I ate it, though. You want me to print you another one? Oats had a bite. Rob doesn't like dessert. Rob didn't have a bite. Rob, you didn't eat any desserts? When we went out to dinner on Friday? Nope. I didn't notice. None of them. Did I throw it away? Yeah, Skye, put me another one. Yeah, I think the printer's warming up. It's been set. Sorry about this, Sean. Yeah, you think you're out of here, right? I'm sorry, Sean. I know, I'm done. I think we're going to get out of here on time. What does the printer say? Oh, it was in the garbage? Mm-hmm. Wow. All my heart hurts. I know, I don't know how that happened. Sean is miserable.
Are we sure that this is the right? Dude. Come on, man. Sky, can you send me another one just to make sure? Stop it. Another couple of minutes, Sean. Hang on. Dude, seriously. This is so boring. That one has yogurt on it. I need a fresh one. You want a fresh one? Yeah, this one doesn't sound like... As nice and crisp as the first one. Do you want it printed on standard paper or the whole bunch of paper? What would work better for you? Something just a little heavier because this one doesn't really have this much. Maybe the one with the holes punched in it. Mike! Sean doesn't like us doing this live in the air. There's another one. This is off air on air. It just got printed though and now it's all hot in my hands. And sometimes they smudges. Sean really hates it and really upsetting him. Huh? What? Britney Spears. Thank you. Is doing an open call for dancers today. Yes! What? Ashley! Get it, Ashley. Get it. Get it, get it, get it. What do I need to wear? Now, Ash, I'm talking anybody can go. Yeah. Like creepy Elvira dancers? Yeah. Well, it says anyone except for creepy Elvira dancers. Oh, okay. They can't do it? Yeah, so I guess that means I'm out. Eddie!
Yeah, because that's the way Eddie describes my dance. Skye, why wouldn't you go try out to be a Britney dancer doing interpretive dance? You never know. Well, that's not the... She might like it. I'm assuming based on hearing her... Maybe she can do it for her Halloween show. Based on hearing her music, that's not the kind of dance she's looking for. Fine. Yeah, so like Mikey said, it's an open audition for anybody. You don't have to even have dance experience. They say anyone will be taken for this. Casting call, and it's up in L.A. at the Millennium Dance Studio from 5 to 9 tonight. Got some sweet moves. Sweet. It's too far. Brittany also had the paparazzi go into a Virgin Megastore record store for her and buy the new Justin Timberlake album. Are you serious? Get it on iTunes, man. Are you serious? Justin Timberlake. She was photographed, like, whispering through the crack of her window to a paparazzi who then goes into the store and comes back with a CD, but it's in a bag, so you can't see it. But everybody who was there heard Britney asking this guy for the brand new Timberlake, you know, the future sex album. It's been out forever. Where's she been? Right? Well, heard half of it on the radio anyways. Second of all, how did, like, Justin not give her a copy anyways? They don't talk. I wouldn't have.
Yeah, why do you expect that? I don't know. I would think that if she asked him, he would for sure give her a copy. What? So I guess Jessica Simpson still has zits. She signed up for that Proactive again. Spokesperson again. Three million dollars. That's a nice gig. That's good. Three million bucks for her to be the spokesperson for Proactive. It should start airing sometime around Christmas. American Idol, the tour that they're doing, has been cited for breaking labor laws. Yeah.
Well, I guess this is all in New York. They got Sanjaya making Nikes in the back? Yes. I guess they had five shows in the state of New York, but I guess they didn't get the necessary permits to have minors working in the state of New York. And so both Jordan and Sanjaya were minors at the time, 17 years old. And so they're now going to be fined. They were cited with 16 different violations for the five different shows. Hey, Sky, you probably don't have the info anymore, but you might remember some of it. Oh, okay. Sky was saying that things have gotten kind of bad for the former American idols. Oh, yeah. Like some of them were playing. One was Taylor Hicks is like hawking real estate. Like he was at some like groundbreaking for some housing complex. Like they're paying him like an appearance fee. A few hundred bucks, come out, and when we cut a ribbon at this housing community, you come out. And he sings a tune right before. Yeah. Bucky Covington did a hot air balloon festival. Yeah, Bucky at the hot air balloon festival. Oh, can you imagine? It's impossible. It's impossible. Yeah, he performed. He headlined the hot air balloon. First of all, everybody's focused on the hot air balloons. They're like, look.
What do you do a concert at a hot air balloon festival? And then the one that was just last week was an outlet mall opening in El Paso. And that was Justin Guarini and one of the female ones. Kimberly Locke? Yes. Yes, you're right. Kimberly Locke. Can you imagine that, man? Sorry, what? An outlet mall. It's what we've always wanted. Thank you, American Idol. Yeah. I'm going to get an autograph from Justin Guarini and a new Izod. And an orange Julius. Orange Julius. That is brutal. Yeah, you guys get a lot of calls every morning that people will pick on Sky or Ashley or giving Eddie or Sean stuff. Every one of you are great. Thank you, man. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Headline right now on CNN.com says political TV advertising to hit $3 billion. Oh my God. That's all? $3 billion. That's a lot of dough, right? They put a lot of money into that stuff. Skrill. A homeless guy got rescued from a dump truck in Spring Valley. When did it happen, Skye? On Friday.
Dude was sleeping in there and the dump truck came along and, you know, lifted it up into the bed of the dump truck. And the guy started screaming before he turned on the trash compactor. Very lucky. Oh, my God. Yeah, I guess the driver like thought he heard something, but then he started to see like trash like flying out of the back of the truck. So he like went to go check and heard the dude. So the fire department came out. you know, opened it all up, dug in there, pulled the guy out, and like you said, he was just so lucky they didn't start that compactor. Yeah, that could have been real bad. I might want to cut you a little. I would have got 3PO on the line. Yeah, I don't think that really happened. My two can stop those trash compactors. He knows what he's doing. Well, if they were on the Death Star, but not in just some random truck. Yeah, I don't know. Well, I do know. Well, I'm sorry, R2. I mean, you can't do everything. Yes, he can. No, he can't. Tap into the mainframe. I'm sorry, R2, but there is no mainframe for the dump truck. Well, you don't have to call me names. All right, fine. I'm out. I'm out. You're right. I'm wrong. There was a guy in PB that honked his horn at a pedestrian.
Opened the car door, pulled him out, beat him to a pulp. Dude, so mad. Where is the guy? What? The guy who was beat up. Yeah. Last I heard, he was in critical condition at the hospital. Oh, my. With severe head trauma. Dude. Because, yeah, it was like, you know, 1.30 in the morning. Some dude was in the middle of the street. So the guy's like driving. Wrong. Wants the guy to get out of the way. Honks his horn. Sure. Like Mikey said. Rips open the door, rips the guy out, beats the crap out of him, and takes off. So he's described as a man in his 20s, about 6'2", 190 pounds, last seen wearing a blue shirt and some dark pants. If anybody knows anything, contact the police. That's why you always lock your car doors as you get in. You lock no matter what and keep those windows up. That's true. And you see weird people walking around. Mm-hmm. Oh! You know, the name Michael has been really popular for a long time, but a bunch of bad Michaels are giving it a bad name, and now it's not that popular for naming your kid Michael. Yeah, it was the number one name for boys for 50 years. Wow. And then we have... Love you, Michael. I love you, Michael. Michael Vick. I love you, Michael. Got Michael Tyson. Got Michael Jackson. Yay! Michael Richards. I love you, Michael. We got Michael Gary. I love you, Michael.
We got Mikey from the Mikey shop. Well, no, we're naming the bad ones, Ashley. We were naming the bad Michaels. I got confused. Love you, Michael. I love you, Michael. I don't know why. I'm so confused right now. I love you, Michael. I love you, Michael. Oh, he doesn't have that. What are you talking about? No, no, no. Sean doesn't have that. That's Flounder. Flounder has that. What are you talking about? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, my God, man. What? Sean doesn't have that clip. That's a flounder clip. And who plays it on our show? It's on a promo. Once we... Sean, get the clip. He doesn't have it. Send him the clip. Get it. Send him the clip. It plays on the promo when we go into commercials. Yep. It's a promo. Send him the clip. You know how when I hit commercials... I don't believe you. Send him the clip. It's a flounder thing. Flounder has... It's from the office. Clip him. I love you too. What are we even talking about?
Yeah, you're right. Play it, Sean. Then just say it. Hit it. Can't Sean play it already? Hit it. Play anything. Now, this is real weird. Say anything from the office. This is really weird. This guy got shot. He had a bullet lodged near his spine. He starts having this coughing fit, and he coughs up the bullet. Shut up. It's impossible. How is it possible? It's impossible. It's impossible. I love you, Michael. Get it. Come on. Get it from Flounder, Ashley. So Sean can have it. I'm going to play it. Give Sean another chance. Give Sean another chance. Yeah, I mean, he clearly messed up this one. Sean, it's not your fault. But give him another chance. I'm defending you. I love you, Michael. I love you, too. What are we even talking about? That was a good one, Ashley. Thank you. No, but how does he do that, Sky? How can a guy...
I don't know. Well, they say the bullet was so close to his spine that they couldn't surgically remove it without risking more damage. How does he get into his esophagus? I don't know. He was on his way to a scheduled doctor's appointment and he said he coughed really hard and the bullet came flying out. Get in my belly! Now she's just mixing all around. Now she's doing random movie quote Tourette's. Seriously. You're talking to me? You're talking to me. It's so random. Well, it's all quotes from Dumb and Dumber. No, Getting My Belly is actually from Austin Powers. Thank you. And then she was doing Ace Ventura earlier. We're playing a game here. We're not playing a game. We're not playing a game. Rob's winning. Yes. He hasn't said a word. I called Austin Powers. We all said it kind of. It's just you couldn't hand me on to her.
In Malaysia, a guy got into the wheel well of an airplane, and he took a 55-minute flight, and he lived. Possible? What is these things coming out of your mouth? That's what I said. I was like, well, how did he not die up there? That's crazy. The Palestinian man somehow broke into the airport and got up in the wheel well, and when the plane landed, he fell out. They said he was dizzy. He was dizzy from the lack of oxygen, but besides that, he was great. No way. So they're trying to figure out how he was able to breach security. It's okay. I'm a limo driver. Anybody. Pat it. But that one doesn't even go. It doesn't match. It's garbage. Anybody. In Wisconsin, a three-year-old little boy.
took his electric toy car, and he got onto the highway. Wait a minute. And he's cruising around. He had a passenger with him, by the way. A two-year-old. Okay. It's his buddy. Shotgun. It's his bro. And he comes home crying to his mom. And they got in the electric car. I don't know where. Maybe the Packer game. It was a home game, right? I'm sure there's Applebee's. Don't kids that age read Applebee's? Oh, yeah, they like Applebee's. Nah, dude, that's an older kid thing. Yeah, that's six years old. That's six. These kids are three, so they were going to the bar. Yeah. They were going to go to Chili's. Their dad said that they obeyed all the signs of the road. Oh, they're not jackholes. Yeah, when there was a red light, they stopped. It's not a woman driver. And well done. No bow, Eddie. And then I guess when the little boy was, you know, obviously brought home by the authorities, he told, he said to his dad, we went for. An electric cop car? Yes. He said, we went for a ride, daddy. And his dad was like, okay, well, that's cute. How can you be mad at him? But his dad did take away the keys to the car. They really, does the electric little car start with a key? I guess so. You don't just like turn them on with a switch? Right.
Aren't they on batteries? Yeah. But, I mean, there has to be, like, an on-off, so. Yeah, like you said, like a little switch. Oh, yeah, but they probably make them real for the kids. So, like, the switch is, like, a key, I'm assuming. Those things are the coolest. I know. I wish I had one. That's freaky, man, that the kid can take it, get on the freeway with it. That's crazy! Can you see that? I'd give him the trucker honk. No, just for the visual, it was a red Mustang convertible tricked out with a spoiler and the whole deal. That's so sick! That's so sick. One part of it is extremely funny. The other part of it is so scary. It could have gone tragic. Oh, can you imagine, man? It's all funny to me. Yeah, but I envision the kid driving and then the two-year-old shotgun is like a little girl and she has like a scarf around her head with the big glasses on. Oh, my. Yeah, it's awesome. So now they're saying that Leno is reluctant to leave The Tonight Show in 09 like he said he was going to. Oh, too bad. Get out. Yeah, I mean, I'm sure Conan O'Brien is real stoked to hear that. Yeah.
Yeah, so they're talking about... Get out. Yeah, they're trying to figure out, well, if he really doesn't want to retire, is it better for us for him to go to another network? Or would it be better for us to just pay off Conan to break the contract to keep Leno from going to another network? Dude, if I was Conan, then I'd be like, fine, I'll go to another network then. Yeah, because they say some insiders have speculated that NBC might keep Leno as the host and pay O'Brien a penalty of about $40 million to break his contract. Oh, my. Just to prevent Leno from going to another network. It might be cheaper. In the long run, that might be like a steal, $40 million. Really? Oh, yeah, compared to like the $400 million they'd lose over the course of a couple of years or whatever. It could be a bargain for them to do that. Either way, I'd love to be Conan. Yeah. The governor vetoed the gay marriage bill. Yeah. Don't let them mamsie-pamsies. Uh-oh. Let's rise. Sorry. Can't say I do to that one. You're really drunk. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait a second. There's an amendment in the bill. Yeah, that doesn't count. It says...
You cannot get drunk if you're gay. Or no, you can't get married if you're gay unless you're drunk. Yeah. I'm a juicy pumping iron. Yo. So. Well. Homorotic. I love you. Yo.
