Mikey, Skye, Eddie and the crew turned tomato-salmonella news into a running Burger King argument, then Skye tried a Whopper and still preferred McDonald's Big and Tasty despite the others accusing her of deciding beforehand. They debated bathing versus cell phones and mind-reading versus one-person telepathy, with Skye choosing her dog Tango, then heard accidental-email and prank stories that ranged from embarrassing to genuinely dangerous. Callers described a coworker overdosing after hidden electrical shocks, a brother answering a surprise visit with an axe and later hiding inside a refrigerator, and Adia being hospitalized after an ex staged a dummy suicide. The show's questionnaire exposed loyalties and eccentricities—especially Skye repeatedly choosing Eddie and Sean revealing he had competed in archery, swimming and Ukrainian dance—before Ashley's 'review mirror' mistake launched a final round of mangled phrases.
What happened, in order
Tomato Panic
A nationwide salmonella outbreak pulled tomatoes from major restaurants and stores, setting off the crew's argument over burgers and whether Skye should finally try a Whopper.
Burger King Rock Bottom
Robert Downey Jr. said a Burger King meal made him feel so awful while using drugs that he threw his drugs into the ocean, inspiring the crew's merciless jokes about the chain.
Little Debates
The crew chose between bathing or using a cell phone only once a week, then argued over reading everyone's thoughts versus sharing telepathy with one person, with Skye choosing her dog Tango.
Reply-All Gossip Disaster
P1 Drina described an office email chain about a friend's romantic prospects that accidentally copied the friend being discussed, forcing everyone to pretend the exposure was intentional.
The Pool-Corpse Prank
P1 Jessica Rabbit said friends staged a fake corpse in her swimming pool, but the red dye stained the pool and turned the joke into a repair costing more than $2,000.
A Shockingly Bad Prank
P1 Paul said coworkers secretly shocked a medicated colleague whenever he returned to his office, leading the man to mistake the jolts for back spasms and overdose on his medicine.
Axe and Refrigerator
P1 Dirt's surprise visit nearly ended when his frightened brother charged in with an axe, after which the brother retaliated by emptying Dirt's refrigerator and hiding inside it.
The Dummy Suicide
Adia said her ex-boyfriend threw a dummy wearing his jacket from a bridge to fake his suicide, causing her to pass out and spend three days in the hospital.
The Loyalty Questionnaire
The Mikey Show questionnaire forced each host to choose only coworkers for imagined crimes, emergencies and adventures, exposing alliances and bruising Boston Rob when Ashley repeatedly chose other people.
Skye Tries the Whopper
Skye finally tried her first Whopper and preferred McDonald's Big and Tasty, while Eddie and Mikey argued that she had rejected Burger King on principle before taking a bite.
Sean's Secret Resume
A bow-and-arrow hypothetical revealed that Sean had competed in archery and swimming and had performed Ukrainian dance, leaving the rest of the crew stunned by his hidden history.
The Review Mirror
While praising a BMW's compass, Ashley repeatedly called the rearview mirror the 'review mirror' and insisted the two phrases were practically the same.

Good morning. Welcome to Tuesday. It is 6.05. A kid in San Diego has tested positive for salmonella in connection with a nationwide outbreak involving tomatoes. Padres had the day off yesterday. Start a series with the dreaded Dodgers tonight at Beko Park. The deal, Sky. I mean, in California, don't we just get... I thought everybody would get their tomatoes. Tomatoes. Tomatoes. Yeah, I thought they'd get their tomatoes, like, regionally. Yeah, there have been two reported sicknesses in California. One is a four-year-old boy here in San Diego, and one is a woman up in Northern California. But both of them had traveled prior, so they think they probably got it somewhere else. But, I mean, this tomato thing is so huge that 145 people have got salmonella from tomatoes. The Taco Bell around the corner didn't have tomatoes yesterday. That's probably why.
McDonald's, Walmart, Burger King, Outback, Taco Bell, Chipotle, Jack in the Box, Daphne's Greek Cafe, KFC, Red Lobster, Olive Garden have all stopped using tomatoes. Ralph's, Vaughn's, Albertson's, and Whole Foods have pulled the type of tomatoes that are affected, which is the red plum, raw red Roma. and raw round red tomatoes. So the little ones like the cherry tomatoes, the grape tomatoes, those are okay. Obviously, if you grow tomatoes in your own yard, those are okay. But everybody... Thank you. I threw them all out. I ripped out my tomato tree. I want to be proactive. You know what I mean? It grows tomatoes and apples. It's really cool. It's a hybrid. Got a couple of tamapples on there, too. Yeah, a couple of tamapples. But so far, they don't believe there's any cases in California that have originated from tomatoes in California. But, yeah, I went to McDonald's the other day, and I went to pull the tomato off my burger, and it wasn't there. What did you get that? What do they call that thing?
Like DLT? No, my dad likes it too. The big and tasty? Yeah. Skye, if you like it big and tasty. That's what I like. The fresh and wacky. If you like it big and tasty, why don't you go to Burger King and get what it's real, it's called a Whopper, and they sell it at Burger King. That's a really good point. I don't care for that. For real. It's the same. I don't eat at Burger King. But you haven't tried it, right? I don't, probably not, no. I just, for some reason, do not eat at Burger King. Sky. But why? It's like not an option in my life to eat at Burger King. Like it won't happen. It's just, it's never an option. Like if, okay. Meaning that it's just not there. You don't see it, so it's not in the area. It's invisible, Mike. No, it's in the area. It's in the area. It's just never one, like it's not, I block it. I block it. You're like, well, that's not a Sky restaurant. It doesn't exist for some reason. Yeah, it's not there. Even though you've never really ate there and never given it a chance. Yeah. So crazy about these tomatoes. Well, I would think that the only reason that you would get the Big and Tasty is because the Big and Tasty has a tomato. Yuck.
It has produce. It has produce. It has a big thing of lettuce and tomato. Because Big Mac, quarter pound with cheese, they don't have tomatoes or lettuce. Well, Big Mac has lettuce, but the quarter pound with cheese doesn't have lettuce. Well, I like it because it doesn't have cheese. I like it because it doesn't have mustard. I like it because it does have onions and it does have pickles. That's a Whopper. That is a Whopper. That's a Whopper. I wouldn't know. And the Whopper, I think the Whopper's better because they grill. The Whopper. Mike, it's infinitely better. It's their specialty. That's what they do. They make Sky Burgers. Like, if Burger King started making a Big Mac, why would you eat the Big Mac there? Yeah, why wouldn't you get the original? You know, the place that goes, this is what we want it to taste like. Sky, you would love the Whopper. Well, I didn't bring my breakfast today, so maybe I'll get a Whopper this morning. I sell them in the morning. I go, well, darn it. This girl, man. Oh, man.
Actually, they do. Do they sell normal food? Yeah, I remember when we went because we were discussing what kind of cheese they had on it, and I had to go get one. That was in the morning. Will you try it, Sky? Yeah. Yeah, if it's really what you guys say it is. If I get here and I open it, because I'm going to inspect that thing. Check it out. Check it out. If there's shenanigans going on in people. And this is the great thing. Remember, Burger King's slogan used to be, have it your way. They'll do whatever you want. You don't want tomato? We'll just tell them no tomatoes. Don't even put tomato on it. They're probably not putting tomato on it. In fact, you know what you can do? In fact, you know what? You can get a Junior Whopper and it'll be the same size as the Big and Tasty. That's right. Oh, so a Whopper is bigger? Whopper's bigger. I don't want the Grande. Yeah, get the Junior Whopper. Get the Venti Whopper. That's right. How bizarre this tomato deal. Yeah. How long, I wonder how long that they'll enforce this. I think, well, because the deal is, is they don't know where the salmonella tomatoes are coming from. Oh boy, that's awesome. Like remember when we had like the poo-poo spinach and they were like, oh, it was from this farm at this thing, you know, pull it. Well, they still don't know the source of it. So they don't know where it's coming from. So their only answer to it right now is to stop selling tomato, all tomatoes. Are they saying where these...
The four-year-old from here and the person in Northern California went to? The four-year-old was in Texas, and a lot of the cases are in Texas. Hello? The woman from Northern California, I haven't read. They just said she traveled to another state. See, I think that we need to kick Texas out of the union. They prefer it. They feel that anyway. Yeah, dude. They could elect George Bush for another four years. That's right. Everything's better in Texas, dude, okay? Oh, no. It's a lot more elegant and a lot more classy, okay? It's really great. Just brush your pigs, dude. That's right. You know what I'm saying? The rest of the country operates like animals. It's got to come to Texas. Dude. Oh, gross. Woodsy, bro. What's your problem, dude? You're spitting in my BMW, bro. Dude, I get it. You drive a fancy car. Okay. That's not what it's about right now. It's about you spitting in my automobile. What do you want me to do? I want you to not spit. Dude, I got the filter on my mouth. What do you want me to do? That's the problem, bro. You smoke filterless cigarettes like an animal. Like a 37-year-old dude.
that's sitting there with a banjo on his porch, all right? You roll your own cigarettes. Yeah, dude. It's classy. It is not classy, bro. The ladies love it. The ladies don't love it. They love Woodsy, but they don't love that. Looks like you're smoking a joint half the time, bro. Maybe I am. Don't smoke marijuana in my BMW, bro. You're going to ruin the smell of the Alcantaleather. Oh, yeah. Oh, thank God. 570-1053. It's tomato time. How crazy is this? Robert Downey Jr. credits Burger King for helping him kick his drug problem. Hey, how much does Burger King owe us today? Seriously. I'm not kidding. It's a true story. This one is kind of maybe negative. They may deduct a few. But this is from Robert Downey. He says that back in 03, he was, you know. all into drugs, just all whacked out. And he went through Burger King and got a big old burger and a big old soda and the combination of the drugs and all the fast food. He said it just made him feel disgusting. And he drove straight to the ocean and threw all his drugs into the ocean. And he says that was pretty much the end of drugs for him. Congratulations. And then Burger King had like a little cameo thing in Iron Man. And he says that's why he specifically requested Burger King for that.
because he credits them for helping him kick drugs. Yeah, I'm sure they're really stoked to hear why. Yeah, right. Your food was so disgusting with my drugs. It just made me feel like a beast, like a wildebeest. Your food was worse than my drugs. Yes. Yeah. You know what? I really want to thank you, Burger King, because without you, I wouldn't have hit my rock bottom. I would have thrown your food into the ocean, but I didn't want to pollute the ocean, so I figured. I didn't want a shark to eat it and feel terrible about itself. I didn't want any other one of God's creatures to feel as gross about themselves as I did about myself when I consumed your products. I love Starbucks coffee. It tastes so delicious. Although, I blogged about this this morning. Probably the third time I've had this terrible heartburn.
I mean, bad. Like, you know, in my esophagus. Like the esophagus islands where the great whites swim through that channel because there's all those seals through there. It's like food, you know? Heartburn Alley. Heartburn Alley, they call it. They do not call it that. Did you eat Mexican food last night? No, I did not. Nothing spicy? Uh-uh. I don't know what it is, man, but it's like I went searching through our medicine cabinet to see if we have any antacids. It said take two to four, so I took three. And nothing happened. I had to wait about 20 minutes and then finally started to feel a little bit better. And when I first drank the coffee, you know, and it was warm, I hurt. Owie. Burned. You sure you're not allergic to Mexican food? They didn't mean it. It's going around. Could be it. I wonder if there was any tomatoes in that thing. In your coffee? That's right. Good. 5701053. is the phone number, and you can call us at the beginning and end of every show and call in about anything you want. Daniel's on the line. P1 Daniel. Daniel, tell everybody what a P1 is if they're new listening to the show. You get straight to the point, have your radio down, listen to Mike's show exclusively, and you get other people to listen to the show. That's right, man. There he is.
Yeah, dude, sing it. Really? Really? No, do not take a bow. The voice of an angel. That's right, dude. That was beautiful. Thank you. Really beautiful. Daniel, what's going on? Yeah, I was wondering if anywhere in that story... Wait, hang on. Stop, please. I just want to let the world know that as he was starting, I look at Ashley and she's giving Eddie a silent nod of the head like, that was really good. Thanks. Yeah, they do that a lot. She's very supportive. I get what he was doing there. She was nodding at him, and the eyes said... It really encourages me. She is his personal cheerleader. It's really positive. She's like his life coach. Realize my dreams. Okay, go ahead, Daniel. Sorry. Yeah, I was just wondering if anyone in that story said if this was going to affect the ketchup, because I love me some ketchup. That's a great question. Salsa? I don't know. I don't know if those things. Spaghetti sauce? I don't know if those things go through certain. Right from the jar, Mike. Sean eats spaghetti sauce from the jar. What is wrong with all you people?
Well, this is just a speculation, but I don't know if when they make ketchup and salsa and things like that, if they're heated to a temperature where it would kill it and then cool back down. But I don't know. I'm just thinking out of the box. I'm just thinking a stock. They talk about any of those things. Thank you, Professor Scott. They talk about raw tomatoes. I'm talking my heaters over here. Add a little of this and a little of that, and I'm good. Yeah, that's true. I believe they heat it to 475 Celsius, which is the temperature which kills all bacteria. Thank you, Daniel. All right, thank you. And it looks like Daniel. Awesome. No. You won Willie. That was good, Mike. That was great, man. Willie, what are you doing? Oh, come on. You suck. I have a question. Yep. What do I do if I already own tomatoes that are currently sitting in my fridge?
Should I throw them away? What do you think? Should I throw them away? You consume them immediately. Eddie says risk it. Yeah, you make a tomato sandwich. Did you pick them from your own tomato plant? I did not. I bought them from Henry's. I bought them from a Mexican on the side of the road. Yeah, I say better safe than sorry. I've already eaten like two of them. Oh, no. Oh, man. Forget it. We'll watch out for diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramping. Diarrhea, fever? No, no, two separate things. What a song by Ted Nugent. Diarrhea, fever. Those are two separate symptoms. Two separate symptoms. Oh, all right, fine. Ruin the fun. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 38. Eddie's our producer and sports guy. He is 35. Sky is our news girl. She's 30. Sean is our sound effects man. He's 38. Hi, sweetie. Ashley is our assistant producer. She's 24. Don't do that. Come on, man. Boston Rob is our phone screener. He's 25. Let's see. And Roosevelt, Zethi, and Oates, Jr., Esquire, the third. I messed it all up. Uh-oh. Festival, fine, Esquire. That's Tom Lumpf.
The third. Tomahawk. Tomahawk. Yes. He is 23 years of age. So, welcome to the show. Call us, 570-1053, and we'll start getting into it. Getting into what's happening in the world. Gross looking day outside already. Yeah, you think? It's all misty and gross. Yesterday it was nice, man. It was like sunny at this time already. It's all yuck. It's really moody. Somebody on the way in told me I was going to be. Nice. Pretty much everywhere, but at the coast, it's going to stay cloudy. This guy's Googling. Yeah, for San Diego, they say a high of 67 today, partly cloudy. What's up, man? Give me San Diego already. Summer starts Friday. First day of summer's Friday. Oh, no, no. Week from Friday, sorry. 20th. Oh, great. Yep. So we got to just hang out with this spring for a while. P1 Terrence is on the line. What's up, Terrence?
Hey, Mike, P1 Terrence. I was at Chili's on Sports Arena yesterday. Ordered some chips and salsa. They would not serve salsa. Oh, look at that. There you go. Maybe there's salsa, though. Who knows? Maybe they add fresh tomatoes to it to, you know. Yeah, they probably make their own. Yeah, they probably make their own. The guy said it was because of the whole tomato thing that they weren't doing chips and salsa. Makes sense. Did they give you the chips for free? You know, the guy even forgot to bring the chips. What the hell? Oh, man. That's ridiculous. Yeah. He probably thought you didn't want them. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what he thought. Sky, I'm going to ask you, you're a former server. What is the problem with this order? I mean, if I order this ten times, eight times out of the ten, it's messed up. What do we got? Diet Coke with lime in it. Why? Like, it either comes out with nothing in it. Yeah. Or it comes out with a lemon in it. Like half the time, it's a lemon. Okay, two issues here. Issue number one is you're deviating from the norm. Anytime you do that, you're taking a risk. And number two is lots of places don't carry limes. Yeah. Only lemons. And so they'll be like, well, we don't got a lime, but I'm sure the dude will rather have a lemon than nothing at all. See, that happens a lot. Yesterday, I went to lunch. Diet Coke with lime comes out. It's got a big chunk of lemon in it, which I don't.
care for lemon, really. And I never... Yeah, it's true. Big wedge of tomato stuck on the side of the glass. But I go, I don't correct. I just ask for it again. I say, oh, hey, do you have some limes? And then they always go, oh, you said lime. No, we just have lemon. I wish you had said that you only had lemons. When I said, could I get a Diet Coke with a lime in it? You should just kick it off by asking initially, do you have any limes? Oh, that's good. I like it. That might work on a few levels. A, you know, and B, it ingrains it in their brain differently. Or you can BYOL. B, bring your own limes. Bring your own limes is a good idea. That could get sticky. Yeah, it could. Just carry one in your pocket at all times. And I mean the wedge. That wedge in your pocket. There you go. Let's see.
I came up with some questions for you guys. You want to hear one right off the bat this morning? Okay. Little debates. Oh. Little debates. I like it. Little debates. What do you think of this one? You either have to, you either get to bathe once a week or use your cell phone once a week, meaning one call once a week. This is easy. Yeah. Choosing one means that you get the other one limitlessly. Yeah, this is easy. So you can shower every day, or you can use your cell phone every day if you choose one. Eddie? So easy. I'm taking baths every day. Yeah? Yeah, no way. Go without your cell phone? I care less about my cell phone. Really? Yeah. You do not do all communication on cell? No. Like, I mean, in talking to people, because I don't use the home phone. I'm like Sky. I don't use the home phone. I use the cell. I mostly do, but, I mean, I could live without it. I could figure a way. I mean, I could use my own phone again. Right. Yeah, I'd be fine. I could not take a bath every day. Skye? Yeah, I agree with Eddie. I have to take a shower every day. So, yeah, get rid of the cell phone. I don't really talk to anybody anyways. I do, too, but I have issues. You know, I have to be sparkly clean all the time. Yeah. Ashley? I would definitely just shower once a week. That's the best. You do already. Yeah, I wouldn't even do that.
Different from... Sean, we don't have to ask. Not even a question. Rob. He doesn't like either one. Doesn't really take a lot of baths and doesn't really like his cell phone. That's a good point. I can give them both up. In fact, I think I will on principle. What about you, Oates? Yeah, you know I hate my phone, man. He does. So you just throw the phone out? Yeah. That was a terrible one then. All right, I got another one for you. Well, wait, what did you pick? I said I would definitely go without the cell phone because I have issues. Okay. But then you said you did all your communication on the cell phone, so I didn't know definitely. Yeah, I'd have to just, hey, listen, leave a message. I'll get back to you next week. Okay. Would you rather be able to read people's thoughts or be able to communicate with one person through your mind? Got it. Say again.
Would you rather be able to read people's thoughts, everybody? You can read their thoughts. You can't communicate back to them, but you know what they're thinking. Would you rather be able to do that or pick one person whom you can communicate back and forth with with your mind? Sky's got it. Eddie, you got it. Ash, you got it. Sean, you got it. Yeah. Are you still thinking? Okay. Rob? It's hard, but yeah. Zeth? Yeah. I would communicate with the one person. Really? I don't want to know what people are thinking about me. No. I don't want to know. Eddie? Well, to me, it's not just what they're thinking about me. It's just their thoughts, right? Uh-huh. Yeah, I'd take that. You would take that? For sure. Really? Yeah. Just to know what's up? Well, yeah, definitely. I mean, if it's just one person, to me, I don't know. I think I already have that.
You take that, and then you just hear awful stuff from people. I'll beat them up. Okay. Skye? Yeah, I'm with you, Mike, for the exact same reason. I don't want to hear what people are thinking about me, you know. I don't want, no. Forget it. Too much, and I would choose to communicate with Tango. Thank you. What? That was a joke, right? It can't be an animal. I'll allow it because it's so bizarre. But you're joking, right? Okay, Sky, but just for the sake of argument. But I'd only wish he was younger so we could have had this power our whole relationship. Oh, my goodness. She's not kidding, by the way. Why Tango and not Logan? How messed. Well, I can only have one. I can only have one. You love one more than the other. That's very true. And unfortunately, I believe if I could listen in and communicate with Logan, it would be like that circus music, you know? What's up with Tango? I love him. Why won't you communicate with him? No, I want to communicate. Why do you choose Logan? No, I chose Tango. Why do you choose Tango? Because he's a little more sophisticated.
She thinks Logan. You think Logan's stupid. I don't use the word stupid. But you think he's stupid. He is a little slower. Mentally challenged. He is a little slower. He does have some special needs. You feel he has nothing to offer you mentally. Hey, if I could communicate with both of them, if I could get two picks, then it would definitely be Tango and Logan. Right, but the one that needs it the most, you don't care about. If I only get one pick. The one who really needs to be communicated with. The one who really needs it. Forget it. You offer me nothing. But I also worry more about Tango. You don't offer mommy enough. Logan's a moron. Say it. I also worry more about Tango, about his health, because he's getting older. And so I'd like him to be able to tell me if he's in any sort of pain, if he has any lumps anywhere that he's concerned about. You have a husband. Yeah, so if you had to pick a person, what would it be? A human? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would be my husband. Be your husband. No, no, no. If a person was the factor, would you do the read people's thoughts or communicate with the one person? Just the one person. You would do the one person. Either way, because I don't want to hear people talking trash. People got enough of their own junk going on. But I would pick my cats over my husband any day. Well, yeah, because me and the boo, we have great communication, so there's no problem there. I do too, but I would love to be able to be at a party or a gathering with my wife.
And go, honey, honey. So you don't even have to whisper it. You're talking with your mind. Right, right, right. You just say it. But this is so people know what's happening in my brain. So that people are listening right now. This is my brain talking to my wife. Why can't you just say that? Why can't you just say that to her? You could have totally whispered that, dude. You don't need your mind. I'm allowed to say it? Whisper it? Yeah. You guys know what I mean. Send her a text message, baby. I think it'd be fun at a party with your wife. Like, if your wife's across the room and you guys see some really funny shenanigans going in, you're like, hey, honey, check out our boss to the right. He's totally, you know, got toilet paper hanging off his shoe. You know, or something like that. Because you couldn't do that with your eyes.
But someone could see you. Oh, yeah, you can. Dude, you know Rob. You keep looking at the toilet paper and then you check out whoever you want to know about it. Oh, dude, you guys got it all backwards. People will see you doing that and they'll be like, oh, that guy's a jerk. And then it's even funnier. It defeats the whole purpose, Rob. There's the comedic genius in you two. Neither here nor there. Mikey Show, hello. Hello? Yeah, go ahead. I just had a question for Skye because she's saying she wanted to read her dogs or talk with her dogs. Her cat. My cat. Her dog. If she could read her cat's thoughts, then she would know if they were in pain or not. Yeah, that's what I said. That's what she was saying. Maybe he had his radio turned down. But, yeah, that's important to me, especially with them getting an older age. Tango's got a few little things going on. I don't really want to talk about it. What's going on with Tango? I don't know, Mike. I have feelings. How old is Tango? Tango is 10. I wish he could read my thoughts right now. I'm glad we can't read those thoughts. Look at that face and what he's doing. Eddie's eye is twitching. We know what that means. No, maybe he's 9. You don't even know how old he is. We used to celebrate the birthdays in the beginning, but then we stopped having the birthday parties.
What's going on with Tango? He has this weird bump on his ear that keeps coming and going. Skye, you're like my wife, honestly. I don't know. It could be just an abort, or it could be any tumor. I talk to people. Oh, Skye. Yeah, and then it went away for a while, so I thought we were good, but then it's kind of coming back. Skye. I got to take him to the vet, and then sometimes he's grouchy. I'm going to give you the greatest piece of cat advice ever. What's up? Get rid of him. If they start going to the bathroom differently or eat differently, there's a problem. Other than that, they're cats. He's a good eater. Then you're good to go. But what about cancer and tumors? They'll stop eating. They'll stop eating. But anything other than that, let those cats do their...
Terrible thing. I can't stop eating. Awful, terrible animals. Stop it. I love them. Oh, man. I would not. I have nothing to say to Jules or Sydney. It's so mean. Oh, man. It's so mean. Those cats, though, Sky, they're not. Friendly. They're cats. They live differently than people. I was going to say that, and then I realized, no, Jules is very friendly, but they're just, you know. Come on, do something. Do a trick or something, you know? Fetch something. Fetch something already. Do you like that? Was so bummed out when she found out that Elton John did not write one word in any of the music. Didn't write one word of it. I think it was a dude named Bernie Taupin wrote everything.

Not a sheep, Mike. That's right. Not a sheep. And Ashley. Evident talk to get attention. Save that one. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Eddie's shaking his head knowingly. Yep. This is Boston Rob, man. He's the guy that puts in all the music bits. Yeah, get pumped up, dude. If this Mark Wahlberg was from Philadelphia, this just would not be played right now. Cut 14. 3-1. Griffey swings. There it goes. Long slide ball. Right field. It is a number 600 for Ken Griffey Jr. A no-doubter about halfway up in the lower deck and right.
Ken Griffey Jr. circling the bases as they stand here at Dolphin Stadium. That's what they came to see here tonight. And from the moment at left of that, absolutely no question where it was going to end up. Eddie, I don't know very much about baseball. Will Ken Griffey Jr. be like a Hall of Fame guy? Oh, yes. For sure. Well, there's only six people in the history of baseball to hit 600 home runs. Really? Yeah, so, I mean, he's first ballot. Even Sky knew that. Yeah, I don't know anything about Cam Griffey Jr. Although I do know they call him Griff, right? Junior? Yes. Do they ever call him Griff? No. They don't call him... I call him Griff. Do you? Yeah, I call him Griff. Starting to trend. What'd you say, Seth? I think that's a crime dog. Yeah? Oh, that's what I'm thinking of. McGriff, the crime dog. Whatever, man. Text messages at 35253. Mikey, I bought a Roma tomato from Farmer's Market in Oceanside. Should I eat it? Am I going to die? Signed, P1 Awesome. Let's ask Eddie. He's a doctor. Eddie, what would you recommend? I think you're good. This guy said something about diarrhea fever. That's true. I enjoy that. Mikey, about the weather.
About the weather, it's sunny and beautiful in Julian. You got to go up higher. Will you guys ever do a show out here? Probably not. I'm just being honest. Mikey, I am busting a gut laughing this morning. Thanks, guys. Hey, Mikey, you're not alone. Coffee gives me heartburn, too. Signed, P1 Maffles. It wasn't the coffee. I had the heartburn way before the coffee. Coffee just made it. Burned it. Yeah, burned more. Can you feel it, baby? You're fighting, baby. I really wish that we could hear the tapes of Rob rapping when he was a kid. I know he can get them. He just is too embarrassed. I can't, dude. You can too. You can get those suckers. You just gotta call your ma. Call my ma? She doesn't have nothing. She can look around and find some stuff, I bet. Where? We don't have that old house no more. We don't have...
None of the things. Nothing in boxes or anything, man? Not, dude. We took what we could. Man. I want to hear that. We lost a lot of stuff. I want to hear it. I did too, man. Yeah. You're a jerk. Whoa. Oh, no. Lashing out. Kind of a hothead. Has he got diarrhea fever over there? Yeah. A little bit. A little touch of it. Ashley was cutting her toenails and she clipped a little too short. On the big toe. You ever done that? I've done that, man. I've been there. Ouch. I don't know what it is, but when we cut our toenails, a lot of times we really get our fingernails. We get very aggressive. We get very aggressive. We don't want to do it again, so we make sure that we go down to the second knuckle or something. We don't have to do it again for a long time. We don't want to do it again for a long time, so we clip real short. Yeah, I like them really, really short. Normally, I'll get pedicures, but I decided to take it upon myself to just...
Cut my own. Did it bleed? I was using a steak knife. Yeah, I was chewing him off. Please don't play that sound effect anymore. Ash, what did you do? So I cut them and it was fine until yesterday. And then all of a sudden I looked down and I guess I hadn't been paying attention, but there was like dried blood on the top of my big toe. Be careful. And I'm like, ah, seriously. It's excruciating when your big toe is hurt. Ash, are you still napping? Did you nap yesterday? Yeah, I had to. I had to. Make up your mind. She does this thing. Oh, I can't. You can't. I don't want. Naps are bad. I know. And then the next day it'll be like, you know, I've decided that naps are what people should be doing. I love them.
It's just so tricky because it's like I don't want to nap because I have so much I need to do during the day. But if I go to bed any later than 8.30 a night, I have to take a two-hour nap or else I'm going to be miserable. Well, then why did you ever say that you shouldn't be taking naps? Naps are good. What's the matter with naps? Well, because I've tried to get to bed by 8.30, if not earlier. But when it's like pushing 10. By 8.30. Well said. Eddie, everyone stop, Eddie. Everyone stop. He's enjoying it. What do you want from him? He's having a good time. What's the matter? Oh, my God. What happened? I don't know. So check this out. This is the other thing that Ashley wrote that I think is very interesting. So she goes to that yoga class, and they got the fill-in guy, right? The fill-in guy does this thing where he asks everybody to introduce themselves to their neighbor. Oh, I hate that. I don't care if it's church or if it's... I never take yoga, but I don't care what it is. I don't want to do the... No, I don't. I don't care. I can't.
Listen, it's nice, too, but it's very uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable. Well, and it's a waste of time. Like, are you going to really start, like, a new friendship? Seriously. By saying hi to the person who's stretching next to you? Can't that happen organically? Can't that just develop, you know? Leave it alone. So uncomfortable. Hi, I'm Mike. And the worst part about it is I feel, like, so mean because everyone around me is so happy and everyone is meeting everyone they can at every angle that's around them. And I literally turn to my right. I'm like, hi. Hi. Hi. And then I just stared down because I don't want anyone else to invade my personal aura, like my space. And it throws you off, right? It totally does. I'm in the zone. I'm ready to, like, get in my mentality to do the class. What is she talking about? And I got to sit there and be like, hey, my name's Hay. My name's Hay. My name's Hay. Do you introduce yourself as Ashley or by your real name? By my real name. You do? Duh, of course. Bertha. That's right, her real name is Bertha, so she changed it to Ashley. That's hot. She thought Ashley just sounded nicer. It's just hard for me to meet people that are around me because I am so gross when I do my yoga. I'm spitting, and I'm definitely the sweatiest person in the class.
Hey, Sean, would you like to meet Ashley in a 120-degree yoga room? No, no, no, no. You're a germaphobe. I don't want anyone to judge me while I'm doing my moves, my downward dog. Your moves. That's got to be a sight. No, I bet it is. My crow, which I'm getting really good at. My upward butt. My wrestle crow. That's weird. Cut 15. As we arrive at iPhone's first birthday, we're going to take it to the next level. And today we're introducing the iPhone 3G. Sounds good to me. Know what it means? When they do those things, who's the audience? Dude, tech nerds, man. I watched it. It's not the, like, employees? Uh-uh. Well, I'm sure they're there, too. I'm sure there's a... select group of employees that are there too. But it's the actual crowd? Giant room, dude. Really? Giant room. Yeah, they sell tickets. Yeah, this one was at the Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. That's where this announcement was going. What's a woman? So the new iPhone is going to be fast. That's the deal. Right now, if you want to go on the internet,
Which, if you are an iPhone owner, you probably don't. I don't. Because it's so slow. It takes like 100 hours to load a page. Oh, that's annoying. But with this new 3G thing, it's going to be real, it's going to be a lot quicker. Yeah. 30-some percent quicker. Cheaper, too. Yeah. They say faster internet connection and satellite navigation capabilities. And it'll be... I don't know about that one, though. What? That turn-by-turn navigation that they'll have on there? Yeah. I don't know about that. But it's also good in another way just for, like, security things. Like, say you, like, go missing or whatever. Right. They can pinpoint where you are based on your iPhone, like, by... by satellite, whereas the other thing, it has to bounce off the nearest cell tower. Yeah, but what if the terrorists know that about your phone and duct tape it to a car, and then the people are, like, looking for that car. Exactly. Now what? You're, like, way, you're in Nebraska. Yeah, your phone's at Vaughn's. I mean, you're not, you're not Jack Bown's. Okay. Okay. I don't think. Great. I don't think anyone. So it'll be. You know what, though? That turn-by-turn thing, that freaks me out that a bunch of people would be looking at their phones while they're trying.
to drive, you know, more than that. It doesn't have like a voice thing, like a GPS? Oh, it does? Well, I don't know. My brother-in-law was using something in our car yesterday on his phone, and it had the voice. So you just listened to it. That's cool. That's cool. Yeah, so starting July 11th, you can buy the iPhone 3G. The 8 gigabyte will be $199, and the 16 gigabyte will be $299, which is cheaper, but the service will cost more, an average of $10 a month more for the service. What? That sucks. Let me get one. Oh, whoa. Look at you. Whoa, Eddie. What's the deal, Eddie? It sounds kind of cool. Yeah? I might have to get one. What about this? What about this right here? Hey, text us. That'd be really cool if you decided that you wanted to text us. That'd be really cool is if you're like a first-time texter. Like, maybe you've never texted us before. Text the word Mikey to 35253.

Or your phone rings, you answer it, and you hear somebody else having a conversation. It's that kind of deal. Cell phone mishaps. Call us right now at 570-1053. I actually like my glasses. New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan retires after his 15-year career. If you've accidentally called somebody before, you know, like had the phone in your pocket and it accidentally dialed somebody and you were talking and maybe you shouldn't have been talking and they heard it, it's a cell phone mishap, call us right now at 570-1053. Or if somebody has called you and you hear it, same deal. Call us, 570-1053. Like Aaron's text. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe you sent a text that was intended for someone. Like your wife and you went to your boss. Went to your boss. You know what I mean? Exactly. Yes, I know. Do I understand, Stan? I don't understand. I don't understand. What if I do this like that? I think you're telling a horse to get going. Come on. Come on, girl. That could be the text. That's it. Okay. Well, that was weird.
Or maybe you sent an instant message to somebody and you didn't mean to send them the instant message. I sent Sean an instant message yesterday intended for Rob, but it wasn't bad. Confused me. Yeah, that's right. It just confused him. I said to Sean, why don't you take a shower? And Sean texted him, I am back. Is this intended for Rob? And I said, yes, it actually was. I'm very offended at first. So then I sent it to Rob. Oh, wow. This text message says, Mikey, back from Maui and Mama's Fish House was a fantastic experience. I instantly don't like this text. I hate this person. Great food, homey atmosphere, best food I've had in a long time. Thank you for the tip. Stop it, Eddie. Whatever. What's the problem? Just stop it. Make your big smiles and your thumbs up, Mr. Maui bound. I know it. Let me tell you something about this Eddie character. Talk about it, Mike.
It's about time someone said something. Well, first of all, exactly one month from today, I will be having surgery. That was fun, too. You monster. So while I'm laying there, recovering from surgery, Eddie will be leaving on a jet plane. The guy's going to Maui. You guys are all excited for me, right? How dare you? I am. Thank you. You're going to have a great time. I'm not. I'm not. How dare you in your Maui? I'm angry at you if we're being honest. I'm angry. That's not fair. I've never been. I wasn't angry at you guys last year for going. Well, you're a better man. Yeah. Okay. You're so good. We're going back. Oh, man. Mikey, I went to Santana's drive-thru in PB and ordered the carne asada chips, and it came smothered in tomatoes. That was yesterday. Tossed it in the trash. Uh-oh. Hey, Mikey Show, I just wanted to say you guys are the best. Every morning at 5.30, I drive to L.A. for work, and you all keep me awake and laughing. It's P1 Stone Driver. All right. Let's do a little bit of this. Yeah. Come on. Cell phone bits out. I texted my girlfriend. I said it to my wife instead. Was drunk when I called her. Passed out when I hit send. I thought that I hung up.
But my cell phone crew won't lose the signal. That's when she heard me talking all that crap. Cell phone mishap. We have, I think, our first ever email mishap. Oh, really? P1 Drina. Hello. What did you do? Me and my friend were chatting at work and we were using like Excel or what's the company email? Outlook? Outlook. Outlook, that's it. And me and my friend were chatting about another friend and some guys that were interested in hooking up with her. And then at the end of the email, I asked him if I could have the person we were talking about email because I was going to send her an invite to an event. And he, I guess to get her email, he just wrote her name in the copy section and ended up copying her. She got the whole chain.
This is why it's a good idea to not do that. Wow. So what did she write back? She sent us an email back saying, oh, that she was glad that she was interested in gossip. Oh. And did you respond in person or through the email? He actually responded through the email. And what did he say? And he said, oh, I thought you'd find that interesting. Like he did it on purpose. Like he intended. Yeah. She should have wrote back and been like, yeah, whatever. Yeah, right. Yeah, I actually saw her that night. She was totally cool with it, but I was totally embarrassed. She wasn't cool with it. No. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She pretended to be cool with it. Oh, okay. Because that's what we do. Yeah, that's what we do. We go. That's funny. All right, guys. P1 Giles. How's it going, Mikey? Good, dude. So my wife has told me a story of she was at a paralegal's office and she was getting divorce papers from her now ex-husband. And he talked to her on the cell phone a bit and then she hung up and the cell phone didn't hang up. And her ex-husband was listening for 20 minutes while she was talking to the paralegal.
and getting all her divorce papers. That is horrible. Probably not good information for him to know and hear. No, no, no. Exactly. He was so livid once he got home. Yeah, I bet. P1-300 has a pretty funny one. 300, are you there? Yep. So what happened, dude? All right, so I get done bowling this tournament with my buddy, and we're driving back down from L.A., and my phone rings, and it's him, and I answer it. And he's driving, and he's just... belting out like this Whitney Houston song or something. It was great. Do you remember what Whitney Houston song it was? It was like the that I'll always love you. Oh, dude, that's awesome. That's what you should have told him is, you know, you were glad because that's the prettiest one. Hillcrest. Oh, wow. Dude. Did you tell him? Did you say, hey, dude, I just need to let you know? Yeah, the next time, I saw him the next weekend, and I was like, you know, you should really listen to something better. What did he say? He just was like, you know, don't say nothing. And I was like. Oh.
That sounds great. Yeah, don't mention that to anybody. Yeah, then he's like, I'm going to call the Mikey Show and tell us. Yeah, you didn't. You didn't mention it to anybody. You mentioned it to many people. Thank you. He is a gay man. P1 Dragalo, is that it? Yeah, that is P1 Dragalo. Dragalo, P1 Dragalo. What's up, dude? What happened with you? I was about 17. I used to work at an ice cream shop. I have to go to work at like 6.30 in the morning to make all the ice cream. Apparently, it was one of those old Nokia cell phones. Bumped it and dialed 911. I set all my stuff down on one of the desks, and about 20 minutes later, the cops are knocking on the door. And I wasn't the most well-behaved kid growing up, so I have no idea what the cops are at my ice cream shop for. I bust in, and they come all out, and they're like, hey, we got a 911 call from here. They tracked your cell phone, and they said there was something going on here. And it was kind of a high crime area. I'm like, I didn't call 911. I look at my cell phone and the dispatcher tried to call it like six times. I'm bribing all these cops off with ice cream. A little Jamocha Almond Fudge cures all. That's right. It's a cure for everything. Thank you, brother. Thank you. That's a good one. That's a good one. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35.
Very, very terrible story, but you're going to be hearing about it, especially because it happened here in San Diego. A woman was the victim of a home invasion, SDSU. She was raped and robbed. Terrible, terrible thing. Cut 39, San Diego spokesperson. He did have a knife, stole some things from her in the apartment, and then sexually assaulted her prior to leaving the apartment. That is awful, awful, awful. Yeah it happened on Friday. The guy is still at large. Police are still looking for him. It happened on an off-campus apartment on Montezuma near SDSU. And like they said, 20-year-old woman arrived home. The dude was in her bedroom, tied her up, and then did all that stuff. So he's described as a white man in his late 20s, between 5'6 and 5'8, weighing 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a white sweater, blue jeans, a dark blue baseball cap, and wraparound sunglasses. Let me tell you.
If you think you know something, or if you maybe know something, let it weigh heavily on your conscience. Know that if you don't call the police department about it, someday you'll be judged because you didn't do anything about it. So if you know anything, please, please, please call the police department. And think about if this were your mother or your sister. Please. Call the police department. That is such a sad story to hear. But let me tell you, you're going to hear a lot about it because that's a big story here in San Diego today, especially. It's just coming out. So we got this email about a practical joke that went a little bit bad. And be thinking about, like, have you ever... pulled a practical joke on somebody that went really bad or had a practical joke done on you that you were like, yeah, probably not funny. And this happened to Chris Rock, right? Yeah, we were just talking about it yesterday. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This kind of happened to Chris. Well, it was like one of those reality shows. It was going to like punk him and it was real bad. So 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253 and I'll read you this email when we come back. The Mikey Show. Coming out of the South Bay, though, it's not really too bad. Some minor slowdown on both the 5 and 805 northbound and pockets up to National City. The 805 really gets you, though, once you get into Kearney Mesa as you approach Balboa Avenue. Then it really jams up for a slow ride over the 52 up to Governor Drive in the Golden Triangle before you back up to speed. Your East County commute, West 94, not too bad. A bit of a delay just briefly as you head north in the 805.
Then a minor slowdown into the downtown area, approaching the 5 freeway. The westbound 8's been clear all morning long so far. Still looking good out of La Mesa all the way to Michigan Valley. Westbound 52, that's a whole nother story. That is really backed up here. Coming northbound up to 125 and continuing slow westbound on the 52 all the way to the top of the summit. South on the side of the 15 jammed up as well up to 78 to Vier Ranch on Parkway through West Condito. Slowdowns again through Rancho Bernardo and Carmel Mountain Ranch. And the coaster ride is very tough here. South on top of the five, backed up from before La Costa all the way down past Manchester. There's a stalled car on the fast lane near Manchester, which is adding to that heavy ride there. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Casting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. Amy Winehouse denies that she's a racist after video surfaces of her singing a racist song. The Bears wave running back Cedric Benson after his latest arrest this past weekend. So what's going on there, Ryan? Well, you remember he had that incident on the boat where he was arrested for apparently being intoxicated and wrestling with the cops. But, you know, he was claiming he was innocent and fighting those charges and all that stuff. Right. Well, this weekend he was arrested with a DUI driving. Uh-oh. So that doesn't really help his case. And then the Bears were like, okay, you're done. Get out of here, guy. Do they have anything? I'm drunk. Do they have another running back besides their backup? Not really. So they don't have like a stud. No. Uh-oh. No. Well, there it is. Yeah. So check this out. Tell me what you think of this. 570-1053. And give me your input if you've ever had something like this happen. Mikey heard you guys talking yesterday about the Chris Rock prank and how it didn't go over very good. If you didn't hear it, Chris Rock was in South Africa, and they're going to serve him with these, what was it, like papers about sexual assault or something? There were rumors going around that they were looking to arrest Chris Rock for having sex with a minor. And so when the rumors got back to Chris Rock, he immediately went to the police.
And that's when they say that they had found out that a U.S. reality show had sent someone down to pose as a prosecutor to levy these charges against Chris Rock. Not that funny. Not even close to funny. So, anyway, so this girl says, it reminded me of a prank that was pulled on me for an April Fool's joke. I had some friends put a fake body and red dye in my swimming pool. Holy cow. So when I got home, it would look like somebody died in my pool. Oh, my. That's crazy. Well, the dye completely ruined the water, and the pool had to be completely drained. It also stained the entire pool. Oh, my God. Stop. And had to be professionally cleaned. It cost over $2,000 by the time everything was said and done. Not the most well-thought-out prank ever. No, those are good friends. Just thought I'd share with you guys. You're the best P1 Jessica Rabbit. So if you've ever had a bad prank.
Or pulled a prank gone wrong. That is amazing. 5701053. Well, remember that one? I think it was in Oceanside maybe about a year ago where the guys put a car up on the roof of like a vista of a warehouse. And then it ended up being too heavy and fell through the warehouse. That's crazy, man. And then it also reminds me of that. How'd they get the car up there, man? I think there's like a forklift or something. But then it also reminds me of that gem at Morning Show Boot Camp. We go to this thing every year called Morning Show Boot Camp, and then we share ideas with other shows. And this one show is pitching this great idea. Was it for April Fool's or Halloween? I think it was Halloween. Halloween, where you, like, get together with one of the family members, and the rest of the family doesn't know, and you go into the house with, like, a hockey mask and, like, a knife on and jump out at them when they're in bed. And you called this morning show with your phone. Yeah. Yeah. And we're like, what? So they can, like, listen to you scare someone to death. For a reason. I mean, what if they had, like, a gun hidden under their bed or their nightstand? Yeah, not funny. Dangerous. Dangerous. Yes, yes. What about the shoe on the door?
Okay. How many times is it? It didn't go bad. It went extremely good. I'm not familiar with that one. What happened there? You played on Mike. Eddie put a high top tennis shoe. That was good. Wedged in the door jam. Talk about it. Above the door. When you guys were living together. And then he went, Mike, Mike. Oh, no. Oh, no. Mike, Mike. This is wrong. And I, of course, am worried about my best friend. Of course. So I go running into the room. So you're a good friend. And when I open the door, a tennis shoe falls on my head. Not that funny. I don't know. Booyah, Kishore. Wow, that's brilliant. Eddie had a good laugh over that one. I wouldn't go that far. That's right. Wow. All right, Sean. That's enough. Thank you. 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. Give us a call. P1 Ashley's on the line. Hi, Mikey. What happened? I work at a police precinct over on the Naval Air Station, North Island. And one night, we're bored at night, so one of our friends left his gun belt at work. So we thought it would be funny to take all the pieces off and hide it.
everywhere in the precinct and make a scavenger hunt for him to find everything in the morning. Yeah. So I left and somebody else stayed to see his reaction. And when he showed up in the morning, he freaked out and he thought somebody had stolen his belt and he tried filing a police report against us for stealing his belt. Wow. Wow. That is unbelievable. Did it go anywhere or did he stop? No. As soon as he found out that I did it, because him and I are really good friends, as soon as he found out it was me, he felt much better, but he was still upset about it. Yeah, I bet. I bet. Thank you for the call. All right, thanks. 570-1053, our text number, 35253. I don't think I've ever, besides Eddie's shoe. That was a good one. I don't know that I've ever really had one done on me, and I'm not much of a practical joker. I'm just not that good at them. I don't think I pull them off very good. Yeah, growing up, my girlfriend tried to pull one on me that backfired. What? So, oh, this sounds so disgusting. It, like, makes me want to throw up even thinking about it. I can't wait. We already love it. But, you know, we were kids, and it's, oh, it's cool to smoke cigarettes, whatever. And so her parents would smoke, and so they had an ashtray outside of, like, half, three-quarter smoked cigarettes.
And so when they weren't home. Why? Well, because they like, they would just smoke so much. They, you know, it's like, oh, the phone rings or whatever. They put one out, run in. So, you know, sometimes there were ones in there that weren't all the way smoked. Right. So when they weren't home, we would take them out of the ashtray and relight them and smoke them. Yuck. Right? How gross is that? Yes. How gross is that? It's pretty gross. But anyway. So one time she thought it would be hilarious to call me and tell me that her parents found out and that they were going to call my parents and blah, blah. And so I freaked out so much, I, like, hung up with her and immediately was like, you know, my best defense is to come clean with my mom before she even gets the call. Oh, wow. So I told my mom, and my mom being, you know, the way she is, Inspector Gadget, she decides to call my friend's parents. waiting for their call, so then both of us ended up in trouble. It backfired. Way to go, Sky. Pocket Reno. Was it Pocket Reno? Of course it was Pocket Reno. Way to go, Sky. P1 Paul.
Hey, Mikey. What happened? What? Oh. Right. What is that? What is that? What is this? He's the villain from X-Men. Wait a minute. I don't think that means the same Magneto. Very dangerous. Don't mess with me. Dangerous, man. It distributes a high-voltage spark is what it does. Okay. 10,000, 20,000 volts. Okay. We ran a wire through the wall, and every time he would go and yell at us, we would just wait until he walked back into his office, walk over to the Magneto, and just give it a quick spin. Well, what we didn't know is that he was taking medication for a back problem. And so every time we would shock him with this, he thought he was having another back spatter. And he wound up overdosing in our shop. And we called 911 and everything else. And they came. He wound up pulling through it. He was all okay. And his wife came in and actually thanked us for saving his life. Wow, you were truly a good smear. What an angel.
We never did anything like that. Yeah. Wow. That is, wow. Dude. That's pretty heavy duty. Yeah. Thank you very much. P1 Brett. Yes, sir. Brett, what did you do? So I worked for the fire department, and we had this one guy that was giving us a bunch of grief and trying to play a bunch of practical jokes on us and stuff. So one day we decided to take red Kool-Aid and put it in the sweatband of his helmet. Oh, no. Oh, no. I love it. And we ended up going to a fire, and he was sweating his butt off, and then took his helmet off, and he had a red stain across his forehead for the next three days. That's pretty funny. That's pretty funny. They call him all Kool-Aid head. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's awesome. Thank you, dude. All right. P1 Dirt. Are you there? Good morning, guys. Good morning. So what did you do? I had a brother living up in Idaho a few years back, and so me, my wife, and one of my other brothers decided to pay him a surprise visit. So we drove from here all the way up there straight. We showed up to his house. He wasn't there, but it was unlocked. We decided to go in and wait for him and surprise him. Oh, no. Well, he surprised us with a big axe.
He came home. We all hid in the house. I hid up in his bed, and he busted the door open with an axe, and he had murder in his eyes. It was all I could do to come see from who I was because he was so freaked out. So how did he know that you guys were in there? Well, when he pulled up to the house, we were in the living room, and we ducked real fast, but he had seen us in there. He came in freaked out. Of course, my wife and my brother stayed hidden after they had seen him with the axe. I'm trying to calm him down. It took him a good hour. Imagine if your leg was sticking out. I know it. It wasn't so funny. So to pay us back, he drove from Idaho to Ocean Beach, snuck into my house while my wife and I were at church. Unloaded everything from the refrigerator and hid in it until we came home. Oh my God. I've been taking my food off. I've been getting my regular clothes on. My wife goes, hey babe, what do you want for lunch? Opens up the refrigerator and has a heart attack. Wow. Wow. Not to ever try and trick him again. Yeah. He wins. Yes.
Yeah, he wins a stay at the loony bin, man. He sounds like a crazy person. Listen, I win. So, dude, when he came in with the axe, what did you do? You were like, hey, dude, dude, dude, it's me. I mean, he's a little on the edge as it is. Sounds like it. Really? His eyes had kill in them. And it didn't register who I was at first because I had just talked to him the day before. In his mind, there was no way. It was me. Right. And it was, hey, hey, hey, it's me, it's me, it's me. And still, he was just staring, like, dead into his eyes. Oh. Ready to start swinging. But that's the last time I play a joke on it. Yeah, I think so. Hey, thanks for the call, man. All work and no play. Oh, boy. Let's see. 570-1053 is a number. And our text is 35253. We got P1 Jolly Green Giant on the line. Are you there, bro? Yeah, yeah. Go ahead, man. You're on the air. Yeah, so I had this friend of mine who worked with me. And he moved out of town. And he was always sending me these annoying forewords. And I was like, hey, quit sending me these forewords. And he wasn't getting the point. And he ended up sending me one that was from, like, you know.
Microsoft, and they were beta testing their email program. And if he sent this forward out to everybody, and then they sent it to everybody, he'd get a check from them. And so what I did is I made this fake letter, and in the letter it said that, hey, thank you for participating, blah, blah, blah. We owe you a check for $43,000. And then I made up a fake check, and I mailed it to my P.O. box. And he came back into town, and I was like, hey, dude, while you were gone, I got the mail. I don't know what it is, you know. Here it is. It's from, like, Texas. I don't even know. And he opened it up, and he was freaking out for, like, a half hour. And on the back of the check, I wrote, like, if you sign this check, you agree that you're not going to send four words. And it was great. He went through every emotion in the book. Dude, that is awesome. That's a really good one. So what happened? Did you end up never, you know, like, did he figure it out then, that second? Yeah, he did. He did. He figured it out. He flipped it over. Like, he totally believed it. It looked real. The check looked real and everything. And he flipped it over, and he, like, just was willing it to not be fake. Like, he was sitting there like...
I feel kind of bad. His wife was there and he was like, honey, all of my problems are over. Wow. He pushed it over and he sees the back and he's like, no, no. Idiot. He said that was the best prank ever played on him. He still saves that. All right. Thank you, brother. I appreciate the call. So my friend Harold just wrote me, I don't know what this is, but he says that he had a practical joke played on him one time. That he actually spent time in a jail cell for. What? Because of it. Oh, no. So, Harold, you've got to call in, dude. I want to know what that is. 5701053 is the number. Mikey Show Questionnaire is coming up. Oh, man. I just got in a car accident maybe two months ago. And when my car insurance finally got everything in order, they wanted to raise my car insurance up to like $5.50. Uh-huh.
A month. So two nights ago, I called AIS to get everything squared away with them. And they actually dropped me down to $212 a month. So they saved me like $330 a month. Holy cow. Get your tickets now. Wow. Yay. Yeah, they say it will. I wish I knew how to quit you. They say it will debut during the opera's 2013 summer season. So everyone, mark your calendars for that. 2013. Wow. I'm a man and you a man. This is the strangest story I've ever seen. One of the founding members of the band, Toto, has announced that they are broken up. I thought they already were. It's very sad, Mike. What is he talking about? He issued a statement on his website saying that he told the rest of the band before the last leg of their tour that he wasn't interested in continuing because he thought the magic and humor has been lost. This just in, aha, is no more. I mean, are they kidding? So you won't be able to hear that live anymore. No more magic.
My brother used to talk, my brother Steve, he used to talk about how Toto was one of those bands that not very many people really got into and they didn't really understand how immensely talented each member of the band was. And I would just really look, I have a confused look on my face, I would stare back at him. I would say that. Yes, that is true. I felt the same way about the Buggles. You did? I don't know that you actually felt that way about the Buggles. You did not feel like that about the Buggles. Man, Frank on guitar, he was awesome. Wait a minute, just Frank? That was it? It was just Frank? He was like Prince. Okay, yeah. He just went by Frank. Later changed his name to a question mark, which was weird, but fitting. P1 Adia, is that right? Right. Adia.
That is an interesting name, by the way. I've never heard that name, Adia. Edia. It's Eddie. It's like Eddie, Eddie, but just add an A at the end. I know it's a creepy name. Edia. Edia. Is it Spanish, Mexican, something? Like that Sarah McLachlan song? Yeah. It's, I don't, yeah. Edia, thank you, something, something. Exactly. Edia is calling because her ex-boyfriend pulled a prank on her that wasn't good. What was it? Uh-oh. Oh, no. Hello. What was it? Yeah. Well, just quickly, my ex-boyfriend supposedly wanted me to think that he was going to take his wife away because I didn't want to go back with him. We met at this bridge in Mexico, so his friend calls me and he tells me he wants to meet you there because he wants to say I'm sorry. Right. Turns out he threw this dummy with his jacket on and I thought it was him. I just, I was...
Oh, wow. I ended up in the hospital for three days, and I just, like, totally passed out when I saw... He saw... You know, my clothes. You want to go back to me? Bizarro. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. So what did you do? You didn't... Did you see him again? Well, I saw him at the hospital. Like, I was at the hospital for three days, but I saw him on my second day, and I just told him, I don't want to see you. Like, you know, if... Right. But did you eventually see him again? So you did not ever date him again? No.
What about the dummy? They're married now, her and the dummy. Wow, that is crazy. Why were you in the hospital for three days? I just hung up. I think she passed out and she was in shock. Wow. For three days? Yeah, three days is really a long time to be in shock. I hung up, though. But if you want to call back, Eddie, yeah. I would love to hear what the deal was. Eddie, what were you in there for, for the three days? That is kind of a good question. All right, so Harold. Hey, how's it going? Oh, yes. So what happened? All right, this was probably about 12, 13 years ago, I guess. I was working up in L.A. County Jail, the new one. You were working there? Yeah. Were you breaking rocks or were you actually, uh, or did you actually, you were employed by chain gang. Yes. Yeah. No, uh, I was, I was employed actually. Um, I was, I was building office furniture at the time and they were bringing in all their new offices. Gotcha. I went in with about 10 guys and as I was going into the jail, they check all your IDs to make sure, you know, you don't have any outstanding warrants or anything like that. Right. So I go in there, I'm working about,
Half hour into the job, cop comes up to the whole crew and says, hey, I'm looking for Harold. Is he around? Yeah, I'm Harold. We got a warrant for your arrest. What in the world, man? I've never done anything wrong. I don't know what you're talking about. Right. Doesn't matter. I got a warrant. Put me up against the wall, frisked me, handcuffed me, took me down, put me in a cell. Oh, my. About 15 minutes goes by. He comes back in. He says, I just want to let you know. No way. You could have had a story. lawsuit on her hands. Absolutely. Harold, let me tell you something. Yeah. Let me tell you. Wow. Los Angeles County is very, very lucky that you're a nice guy. Oh, yeah. Well, this was the turning point for me. He said, let's turn this joke around on your boss. I said, okay. So when my boss came in to tell me it was all a joke, I rolled my eyes in the back of my head and acted like I was past now going into convulsions.
Oh, wow. That was about the time he had to go change his shorts. Yeah, yeah. Oh, gosh. You guys both. Yeah, I don't like any of that. I don't like any of that. Yeah, so it was a clean split. It was a clean split after that. Harold, in your line of work, because Harold is an electrician, and he works around some high-voltage stuff. I'm not talking like he did stuff. He did, am I allowed to say where you did that job in the overnight? Absolutely, absolutely. He did a thing at Wild Animal Park where they changed everything, like all their big power stuff that they hadn't changed for 20 years. So he's working around big voltage stuff. Yeah, 12 kV, 12,000 volts. Do you electricians ever play jokes on each other, like pretending to be, or is that in the electrician world? There are a few guys that do try to play jokes. which I'm not real fond of. Right. It's not funny to me. Yeah. Pretending to be, like, jolted and stuff. Oh, yeah. I knew a guy that actually, and I won't say names because, you know, there's a lot of people listening, but he came up and, you know, was hitting a guy on the foot when he was on a ladder with 120 volts, just joking around, which I don't find anything funny about. No. No. So dangerous. All right, dude. But it does happen. Thank you, man. All right. My two oldest brothers, Mark and Sam.
When we lived in Yuma, I was a kid, we lived in Yuma, and they had just built a patio deck that went over my parents' bedroom. My parents had put a sliding glass door in their room so they could go outside of their room onto this patio, and my brothers built this patio deck for it. And my mom is sitting out there on a chair, just relaxing in the patio. And Mark and Sam are on the roof of the patio pretending to get into an argument. And their voices are escalating and escalating. And they know that my mom is down below. And my mom starts to go, you guys, stop it, stop. And they're arguing, they're arguing. And we had a swimming pool. They flung one another off the thing into the swimming pool. And you know my mom. Oh, hysterical. She flips. She's crying. That is awesome. And they're like, hi. Awesome. Who are you? Who are you? Not cool. That's right. I will always remember that moment. Leonardo DiCaprio is going to star in an Atari movie about the founders of Atari. That sounds fascinating. Dude, how did they come up with Pong?
Exactly. That's what they say. They talk about... Starting up Atari, sorry, and then Atari console and the game Pong and, you know, how it basically changed the world. Really? Yep. The world. Well, yeah, I mean, isn't that like really the first home video game console? Like, without that, you know, there'd be no PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360s. And then where would we be? Right. This is The Rock.
I pressed that button four hours ago. I saw that. Did you see that? I saw that. Yesterday, I went to lunch with a friend, and he had moved to Phoenix for a little while, and so he's back now, and he goes, did you get your studio problems resolved? I know that you used to complain on the radio that your studio was a clunker. And I said, yes and no. And he goes, what do you mean? And I go, well, We have it like we've fixed a lot of the bugs, but the studio is still a clunker. It's still all old and none of the stuff is good. It's all old equipment, but it works sometimes. It is 8.03. A kid in San Diego has tested positive for salmonella in connection with a nationwide outbreak involving tomatoes. Hey, I want to mention this because Friday night I'm going to be emceeing this charity event, and I would really, really, really like for you guys to come out and support this thing and buy tickets for it and come out there and meet me and be a part of this thing. It's for a friend of mine, actually. His name is Jerry, and he's got acute myeloid leukemia. And the money that's raised is going to cover the medical bills that he has. And it's just a really good cause. This guy is a great guy. If you want to know more about Jerry, just go to jamminforjerry.com. And it's the number four. So you type in J-A-M-M-I-N, the number four, Jerry, J-E-R-R-Y.com. And it's going to be this Friday night at Tin Fish, downtown San Diego, which I haven't been there. I think Rob has been there. Rob, you been to Tin Fish? You were doing something at Tin Fish? What's the deal? Yeah.
Yeah, yeah. It's down to Tim Fish. Is it pretty cool? Oh, dude, it is rad, because I never even knew where it was. It's right across the street from the Hard Rock, and it's like an outdoor restaurant. Okay. You know what I mean? It's right next to Petco. I know where that is. Now I know where it is, too. Okay, so it's across from Hard Rock. Yeah, it doesn't even really look like a restaurant, but... It's right by those water fountains. Exactly, yeah. Is it like Horton Plaza side, or is it... Here's Hard Rock. Yeah. If you keep going, you know, that way. Right. It's, like, right at the end. Okay. Across the street from the convention center? Yep. Like, the convention center, the trolley. Have you ever seen, you know, right by the trolley where those, like, water spouts are going up and down? I'm so thinking of the wrong area. We're talking about the Hard Rock Hotel, not the restaurant. Okay, okay, okay, I gotcha, I gotcha, I gotcha. Okay, I gotcha. I was thinking Hard Rock Restaurant. It's, like, all the way at the end of Fifth. Yeah. Okay, I got it now. So it's Tinfish. That's where it's going to be. 176th Avenue in San Diego. And this event is going to be this Friday night at 730. And again, I'm hosting this thing. And it's to raise money for a friend of mine that has acute myeloid leukemia. He's in remission right now, but he needs a surgery. Luckily, his sister is a bone marrow transplant donor. She matched.
The tickets are $35 for single, $60 for couple. It's really going to be a good time, and you're probably asking yourself, well, what do you get for that? What do you get for the money? Some pretty cool stuff. Food, non-alcoholic beverages, alcohol you pay for out of your pocket, but there's going to be live music. There's going to be some raffles going on out there. We're going to be raffling things off like... Quicksilver, Volcom, DC gear, clothing, accessories, a live auction with everything from Padres memorabilia to Sector 9 skateboards. There's a timeshare, a Tahoe timeshare for a week, a week in Big Bear. So a lot of really cool stuff is going to be going on out there. And so if you want to take part in this, I'm going to be emceeing this event Friday night, 7.30. At the Tin Fish. And if you want to get tickets, go to jamminforjerry.com. And I'm going to be telling you about this one more time right before it happens on Friday. I'll tell you about it again, too. Jammin, J-A-M-M-I-N, the number four, jerry.com. Very cool. So before we went to break, I was telling you about Pat O'Brien. Now, you remember Pat O'Brien from the what show, Eddie? The Insider. Insider. Ah, yes.
And for a long time, he was like the main guy, you know? Oh, yeah. And then he had to go into rehab, got out of rehab, was doing the show and everything, relapsed. Yeah. Back in rehab, right? Yeah. Now he's out of rehab. Well, and when he relapsed, there was that whole voicemail debacle you probably heard. Was that the first one or the second one? I thought it was the first time. Oh, yeah, you're right. That's what made him go, because I think he was, like... He was, like, forced into it because his voicemail became public, and it was him being extremely inappropriate, extremely inebriated. Extremely funny. Wait, I don't know about that. I don't necessarily categorize it as that. It depends on your perspective. Yes. Okay. Yeah. So, like Mikey said, he relapsed in a sense now out of rehab again, and everybody has been wondering, well, is he going to get to keep his job? What's going to go on? So the insider didn't go as far as firing him, but he has definitely been demoted to what they're now referring to as a L.A.-based correspondent. So does that mean that he will be, like, on the street with a microphone, kind of going, hey, here's what's happening with this thing? Yeah, checking in from L.A., and basically Laura Spencer will.
now take over the hosting duty solo just by herself. The blonde girl. There it is. Yeah. Let's see. What else is happening in the world? Jessica Simpson just announced that she's going to be putting out a line of lingerie. Well, I mean, now you guys tell me, would women want to buy lingerie from Jessica Simpson? Don't you guys think she's real sexy? Oh, yeah. I would love to buy lingerie from her. What is lingerie? Shut up. What is this you speak of? What is lingerie? Yes. What do you say? Lingerie? Linguini? Yes. A new brand of linguini. Foreign word. I've never seen this before in my life. Yes. What is lingerie? I've bought Sky Lingerie. She owns it. That's right. Skye has lingerie. Every birthday, she throws in a little something, and then I unwrap it at the dinner table and go, oh, no. Yes, and I immediately have Ramsey put it on. That's right. Ramsey, what do you think? Try this on. I like to get her lace for her husband to enjoy. There you go. Skye, would you want lingerie from Jessica Simpson? No.
You do not, but you don't really want lingerie from anyone. Except for me. Well, if I'm going to buy lingerie, like, I would go to Victoria's Secret. You know, like, I mean, I believe Jessica Simpson is beautiful and sexy, but it's the... Is there a celebrity... It's the dummy factor. It's the dummy factor. It's like, I don't want to wear some stupid chick's bra, and then my breast is going to pop out because she was dumb in designing it. Yeah, I don't want to buy it because I think she's stupid. She's being honest. Is there a celebrity that could endorse a lingerie that you would buy? Yes, Gandhi. Reese Witherspoon. Angela Lansbury. No, like Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts. Anyone with a brain. If these people. Jessica Tandy. Shut up. Don't you think that people are going to help her with that area? I do. Rue McClanahan. But I don't want to support her. Any of the Golden Girls. There's any of them. No, I'm not. Wow. I like her.
Hey, listen, I think that what Skye's saying makes a little bit of sense, you know? Mrs. Roper, I love those moves. Shut up. Love those moves. Anything from Omar the Tidmaker. You do look comfy, I'm not going to lie. Let's do this. And now it's time to ask the Mikey Show question. Two reasons that we do the Mikey Show questionnaire, okay? There's two reasons that we do the Mikey Show questionnaire. One reason is... For the benefit of new listeners of The Mikey Show, if you're not really that familiar with The Mikey Show, you need to know that there are six people on The Mikey Show and one kid named Seth. Now, here's how it works. Here's the deal. Seth never talks. He's given every opportunity. He's got a microphone. It's always on. He never talks. I think he does talk. We just can't hear him or understand him. Never heard of him.
Well, so what we do is the Mikey Show questionnaire. Here are the people that fill out the Mikey Show questionnaire. Myself, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Ashley, and Rob. Now, we would have Seth fill one out, but he doesn't talk enough. I tried to get this kid to talk, but he didn't talk. What do you think, Seth? Zach. He's not speaking. Wow. But he's not here, Sky. He's not here. How could you tell? He went to get breakfast. Okay, now, so that's one. One reason is for the benefit of new listeners, and they get to know us a little bit, the six people, me, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Ashley, and Rob. The other reason is for P1s that have been listening for years, and they just love it. They just love hearing what we're going to say. We can only answer these questionnaire questions with somebody on the show. That's the only people we can answer with. There's a lot of different dynamics going on. That's right. That's right. There are many. There's a lot of dynamics going on. Now, what we've done to spruce up Mikey's show questionnaire is we ask every person a different question. Oh, man. Everybody gets a different question.
You actually get three questions. Yeah. They're all different. So I thought we would start with B-Rob. Aw, the Riz. Aw, man. That Riz, that Riz, that Riz. I thought we would start with B-Rob. I'd just like to start this with saying, Ashley, you are one of my best friends. Uh-oh, this is not good. That is not good at all. I'll tell you. I'll tell you what it means. It means just in case you're not the answer for every question, don't be offended. Ashley has stated it before. She gets hurt when Rob does not pick her for everything because she kind of feels that she's there for him and that... she should be the answer to every... But we're all friends with Rob and we all have different kind of relationships with him. But Ashley feels that their relationship is tighter than the relationship with us. Well, it's more, too, that I just think that Rob is like...
Trying to get on all of your guys' good sides. If he was answering honestly, it would be Ashley. Is that what you're feeling, Kyle? Yeah, it is, Mike. That's the truth. Really? You're a kiss-ass? Yeah. Then the answers to these questions are not going to be the real answer that I'll be asking. But he's got to do what he's got to do. That's me. So the first question that was asked of Rob was, If you were robbing a bank, who would you want to be your getaway driver? He's probably thought about this. That's true. The guy's got a backpack. He's got a just-in-case backpack in his car at all times. Disguise, change of clothes. Skye, what do you think that Rob said? Who do you think he would want to be his getaway driver? I kind of think it's me. Because I've known to be Sweeney Gonzalez. And if the cops are out looking for a couple of bank robbers, I don't think I fit any sort of profile as a bank robber. That's interesting. So I think it would be me. Skye, you are incorrect. That's a trip, though, because she's the first person that went through my mind because of everything she said. Why didn't you say her? I couldn't.
I could not see her going through with it. I could see me running out of the bank and her getting too nervous, losing her cool, and freaking out. And the whole plan goes to nothing. And I'm standing there, and she would have drove off already and been like, I just can't do this. I just can't do this anymore. Karma would have set in. Karma would have set in for Skye? She would have been like, wait, wait, wait. My karma is good. I don't want it to be bad. What? I don't want to do something wrong because then I'll put bad karma on myself. Totally. Well, that's why Rob selected Eddie. Yeah, what's up, Bruce? Of course he did. I take care of you, boy. He would be cool under pressure. Yes, he definitely would. But see, now, I would not say Eddie because I don't think Eddie's conscience would allow him to be. Oh, I take care of Rob. Don't worry. With the right cut. We got a good game plan. Oh, yeah. Second question for Rob. Rob, you need to talk your way into a high-profile club. Who helps you do the talking? This is easy. Ash, who did he say? Me. Why did he say you? Because I'm very good at that. Okay. Very good at that. Ashley, you are actually incorrect.
B-Rob said without a doubt, the guy who is smoother than Angelina Jolie's bottom is Eddie Suave. You must have pronounced that wrong. It's Ashley, Mike. Right? Well, you know. It just looks like Eddie. Ashley has a look on her face right now where she would like to. She would like for Rob to be Boy Blunder with peanut butter on his face. And she'd like to be a bear. And she'd like to be a bear. Let me explain. I think me and Rob actually did this back in the day. I think we had to talk our way into clubs and things like that. We don't like lines. I would have chose Eddie. And so. I'd have chose Eddie on that. Scott, who would you have chose? No, I would have chose Ashley in a heartbeat. Really? Are you kidding? Dude, I mean, you're great with people, but if it's normally a dude working the door, she's going to be wearing something hot. She knows how to tell guys what they like to hear. A little thing called Margarita Rockski. All right. Look into it. Look it up. Wednesday night. Okay, Eddie just popped and locked. Eddie just popped and locked. Eddie just popped and locked. Ashley, without a doubt. Thank you, Scott.
Chantel would have been really offended by what just happened right here. No, she doesn't get it. The last question for B-Rob is, if you had to choose a member of the show to design a tattoo... Doesn't matter, I choose Eddie. Doesn't matter, I choose Eddie. What is that? Rob just rolled his eyes. Rob just rolled his eyes. If you had to choose a member of the show to design a tattoo that you had to get, who would you choose? Sean, what would Rob say? Okay, wait, say it one more time. If you had to choose a member of the show to design a tattoo that you would get, who would you choose? I will say, I'll say me. Everybody answers themselves. I love that. I don't want a lamb tattoo. Why? I'll say me. Because I have an artistic eye. Since when? No, I believe it. He does? He's like a graphic designer. Look at your shirt. That's what I do for a living. I forgot about that. Come on. Sean, you are incorrect. Oh, man. We suck at this today. Rob says he would choose me to design his tattoo. Why me, Rob? I love your artwork.
Yeah, yeah. You got good stuff going on. Well, I like doing that kind of stuff. I like designs and stuff like that. I'm very girly. That one definitely wouldn't have been me because I would have picked something jackass. That's the first thing I thought. A little bit of a Yankee tattoo on his back. Yeah, exactly. Next up, Ashley. All right, here we go. Rob for everything. This is going to be easy. The first question for Ashley was, what member of the show would you trust to pick out a pet for you? And, Eddie, what do you think Ashley said? Holy cow. There's been a lot of discussion about pets on this show. Maybe, I mean, this may be a question she would say Rob, but I'm going to say her girl Skye. Why? Skye loves her cats and loves animals, and there would be no, like, jackassness involved with Skye. She would really try to do a good job for her. Eddie, you are correct. Wait a minute. Wait a minute, Mike. Maybe she has to say Skye because they're girls, but she does mean you. They're girls. She's got to do the girl power thing, Rob. Your dog has had sores on her butt for the past three months and you still haven't taken her to the vet?
Actually, I've taken her to the bed twice. I'd rather you not pick out my pet. I'd get you a porcupine. How about that? Oh, no. That would sell real quick. Ash, why did you choose Skye? Because she's an evil person, Mike. Next question. This is breaking down. Oh, come on. This is supposed to be a fun game. Come on here. We're friends. What? We're friends here. Don't look directly in her eyes, Mike. Well, I turned to salt. Stone. And it's a porous stone, not even a nice smooth stone. Ashley, why Skye? For exactly what Eddie said. Yeah. Yes, dead on. She likes pets. And I trust that she would pick out a cute dog that I love. I would get you a rattlesnake. Stop it. Do you like black widows? Okay. The next question for Ashley was, if your house was wired with cameras 24-7 for a TV show. I would wire them wrong. Wrong. So it started fire. We get it, Rob. We get it. You're a hothead. If your house was wired with cameras 24-7 for a TV show, who would you trust to executive produce? Meaning, who would you trust to edit together the clips to have it make you look best? I was so mad I couldn't pick myself. You're the best. You are the best. Skye, who do you think she picked?
That evil laugh. The cackle from hell. Skye is thinking. I'm all over the board with that one. He is thinking. I'm kind of torn between Eddie and Rob right now. Rob's mad at me. I'm not mad. I'm furious. You have taken her to the vet. Okay, great. I apologize. That's not what I'm mad about. I love you. You don't pick me for nothing. I love you. There's such a double standard here. Nobody sees it. Sky. My chihuahua. I'm going to pick Eddie because I believe she thinks Eddie will edit it to make her look, you know, really pretty, really cute, really funny, all at the same time. You are wrecked. Are you kidding? That's a big mistake. Don't you know what he's going to do to you?
I'm going to make the most entertaining show is what I'm going to make. Absolutely. Hello, Brady. Okay. Go for it, Eddie. Okay. Well. As long as you don't mind. As long as you don't mind what's going to happen. I'd make a great show. That is true. Any way you slice it. It's going to drag you through the mud. That is true. The last question for Ashley was, if you were getting married. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. If you were getting married and the best man forgot the wedding rings, who would you call to run back and get them to the wedding on time? Wow. Sean, who did Ashley say she would pick to do that? I will say, I'll say Sky. Because, Mike, she always defies the speed limit. So she's driving like a complete maniac.
That's the way she goes. She's on the Audubon. You've admitted it several times on the year. Oh, no. Well, Sean. I need police officers. Sean. Sean, you are correct. Wait a minute. Hold on. Wait a minute. Hold up. Wait a minute. Hold up. Wait a minute. Rob is so upset. How did I not get picked for any of those? That is. Ashley, instead of asking you why you picked Sky, can you actually tell me why you didn't pick Rob for anything? Any of those? I mean, that's a best friend job to do. You can trust him. That's right. Skye has to map quest everything. She can't find in her direction. She got lost in a circle. She would get confused because the rings are a circle. That is not true. I mean, it's brutal. She did get lost in a circle. That is true. She did. Yes, you did. That's a lie. Oh, my God. She doesn't choose Rob, her best friend. Ash, what is up? Because I...
It's just with Rob and, like, his criminal record, like, I just would be scared that something would go wrong with this. Rob. Driving there and back in the sky. She's so reliable and responsible. True. Those are two qualities I would need. She is reliable and responsible. In this situation. She can't find her way out of a wet paper bag, though. That is not true. That is very true. That is so true. That is not true. Rob, I'm sorry, bro. No, dude, I just... What if he lost it? That was harsh. Next up is Shawnee, oh boy. Oh, biggity boy. The question asked to Sean was, if you were a superhero, who would you trust with your secret identity to be your right-hand man? Ashley, what do you think Sean said? Right-hand man? She's tapping her chin with her index finger. I would think it would either be Eddie or Mike. Eddie, I'm going to go for, though, because of the superhero thing that you guys have that, like, geek squad you're in together or whatever. So you guys have that bond. Ashley, you are correct. Sean, why did you select Eddie? First of all, Eddie understands what it is and what it's like to have a...
You know, an identity that you must keep secret. Well, Sean, with great power comes great responsibility. Thank you very much. He's the one who would understand. Plus, Eddie is the only one out of all of you who wouldn't crack under pressure and questioning, so that's fine. I mean, you don't need to insult us. Yeah, why do you say that about me? I mean, Rob's been through it. You're all weak, okay? Not me. You're supposed to say nice things about Eddie, not mean things about us. No, and he's right about Rob. Next question for Sean. I don't roll over. Next question for Sean was? Roll over. You hear me talking, Vinny? I'm not going to say anything, dude. If you're listening. If you're listening, bro. Next question for Sean was, if someone on the show moved in next door to you, who? Would you want it to be? Oh, my God. Evil doesn't want any of us. Got to have a neighbor. Got to have one of us be his neighbor. Sean just got a big smile on his face and crossed his arms. Skye, who do you think that Sean selected? See, to me, I think this is easy. I believe it's Mike.
because they both, you know, kind of they'll stay in their little house caves. And if they need to have contact with each other, there's no just showing up on the doorstep. You know, it'll be all prearranged. They have their rules. They have their space. Everyone takes care of their property. I think it's Mike. I agree with that. Skye, you are incorrect. Skye just got the most shocked look on her face. So did Eddie. No way. Ashley's eyes are as big as saucers right now. Skye, actually, Sean would choose to live next door to you. Oh, come on. I believe it. Why? Dude, he really does. They were very good friends when we were all in San Jose. She vomited one time and he held her hair back.
I don't think I got that close. Vitamins on an empty stomach. Yeah, she's always got to tell people. It happens. And meth. Yeah, it was the two things actually together. It was an overdose of meth, and it was the vitamins that she was taking. Why would he want to live next door to her? Sean? No offense. My thinking was this, that Sky would... Mow your lawn for free? Well, she probably would. But she seems like the type of neighbor that most people wouldn't like. What does that mean? That is very true. That is not true. My neighbors love me. Ashley has a disgusted look on her face from that comment. She's so irritated. Poor Sky. So she would not be the type of person to be going, you know, and, like, knocking on people's doors. She would leave people alone because she would know that most people don't like her. Okay, you're doing a bit. You're doing a bit. I get what you're saying. I can't give me one second and admit that she's your friend. Oh, my goodness. Well, because she's part of the boys' club. That's right. And I know that she would respect my boundaries in addition to the whole not knowing. That's his BS answer, his actual answer.
He likes Sky a lot. He wants it. Yeah, and Bunny Boo could come over and fix all your stuff. Here is the last question that was posed to Sean. If you had to have someone select movies for the rest of your life, who would you choose to make the selections? Oh, wow. Rob, what did Sean say? Because I know him. enjoys really bad movies. So I'm trying to think who has that same taste on the show. I gotta say Mikey. How dare you? First of all, how dare you? And next I will say that you are incorrect. You gotta be kidding me. Sean would want Eddie to select his movies. Why Eddie, Sean? First of all, Eddie has a really good sense of movies. I appreciate his... But Rob just said it would have to be somebody that likes terrible movies as well. You don't like Boondock Saints. You know that is a great movie. It's a terrible movie. No, you don't like great movies. It's a bad movie.
It's really bad. It came down to a choice between Mike or Eddie, and here's the difference. Mike does not like Big Trouble in Little China, and Eddie does. That's a big factor. That weighed pretty heavily on the decision. Interesting. Folks, when we come back, we're going to do Sky, Eddie, and me. And I'm going to tell you right now, and this is whether or not you're a new listener, or you've been listening for a long time, Sky is going to shock the universe. This is going to be the shot nerd around the world. Sky's answers are shocking and jaw-dropping. Do not, do not go away. Be back here in a few minutes. to hear this. We'll be back. This is so infuriating. It's crazy. Her reasoning is clownish. It is clown-like. It's not like I hated it. It's just not as good as the big and tasty. Well, first of all... First of all, she knows that it's grilled. So she goes, I don't like the taste of the charcoal. I go, Skye, there is no charcoal. It's flame broiled. Then it's the gas. She goes, then it's the gas. And Eddie called it, man. Eddie goes, you're not going to like it just based on principle. No. Before she took one bite. Yeah. She decided before she took a bite she wasn't going to like it. No. Don't say you had an open mind. You never have an open mind. That is true. That is true. You never have an open mind. This guy does not have an open mind. Are you ready to do this? It is 845. good chance for you to learn like inside jokes we might have or like old really classic stories that we have about like sky puking and sean holding your hair back because of the vitamins that's true and the mess don't forget the mess Post for Playboy as well. Twice. Their best-selling edition ever. That's right. Girls of Green was the last one. Before that, it was Girls of Mean. So it was Girls of Mean, Girls of Green. So, let's do Eddie's. Why is he doing that? Okay, first of all, I know something is bad. What is the problem? I'll tell you what it is, Eddie. As soon as I said, let's do Eddie's, you got a smile on your face and giggled and Sky flipped you off. And I know we all know what that means. Yeah. I made a joke that said it was their best selling edition ever. Eddie got the look on his face like he had something funny to say, but it was going to be mean and hurtful. So he looked at me. Oh, the playboy joke. It was a playboy thing. Like he's locking his lips, throwing it away.
Did I not do the right thing? You did, but you didn't need to like, you didn't have to lock the lips and throw it away to let me know. How else would you not know that locking the lips and throwing it away implies, oh, I won't say it. But I'm thinking something mean about you, but I won't say it. How do you know it's mean? Because you're not going to say it. Oh, you guys. I did something right for once and still can't win. Well. Let's go ahead and read Eddie's questionnaire. Here we go. Eddie's first question was, aliens have arrived and want to take you and one friend to their home planet. And you want to go. Who do you feel would appeal to the aliens the most and why? Rob, what did Eddie say? Oh, this is tough. Gonna save me. Everybody is so... I know, man. I just think I said them. Why you, Rob? Why not, dude? We'd have a blast on planet whatever it is. Hopefully they got a margarita rocks. Yeah, what's up? Eddie's popping and locking again. Rob, you are incorrect. Eddie would want to take the person on the show that was just playing with her bangs.
I've got to get a seat just straight. Ashley. Eddie, why would you want to take Ashley with you? I really had to think about this one. Initially, my first thought was Rob because he's a charmer. The guy's very charming. He can charm the pants off anybody. Even space aliens. By the way, you look great today. Thank you, my friend. The only problem with him, besides his haircut, is... No, Eddie, he just wrote you an email. Rob just wrote you an email and said he told you that his hair does not look like a lesbian. And that's what you told him. He looks like a female softball player. Anyway, the problem with Rob is he's a hothead. And if something went down with the aliens, it would be bad. And so I decided on Ashley. Because, you know, number one, she's great looking. They would probably really enjoy that about her. She's the sweetest person I know. They would really appreciate that. Plus, they'll probably, you know, be fascinated with her intelligence level. Well, now that one, Eddie just pointed it out. What does he mean by that? Well, there you go. Thank you. We'll try to process that. And if you're a new listener.
Keep listening. I would totally get along with aliens. All right. Save that clip. Yes, please save that clip. I know that I would. Please save that clip. Seriously. She would. Yes. Next question for Eddie. If you were going to backpack through Europe, who would you choose to take with you? Skye, who do you think Eddie picked? Well, kind of leaning towards Rob. Because Rob is always... like fun to take places. He's always like a kid that's seeing something for the first time, and that's really fun, and he's athletic, so if you're backpacking around, that would be helpful. So I'll say Rob. That is a rack. Yeah! I hope they got a margarita rock, Sam. That was the most obnoxious one yet. That was the biggest pop and lock. Thank you. You're so good on it.
Eddie, why Rob and the backpacking through Europe? I considered you and Sean, but you guys would be bored and would hate it and the walking and the backpacking. Not true. I would despise it. You would despise it. Okay. With Skye, her qualities would be good because she speaks a lot of different languages. Chechewa. She speaks Chechewa. Chechewa. Chechewa. And SNR Akira. Espanol. See, she does. She speaks other languages. We're in España. She can help us out with that. No como. See? Thank you. That's good. I don't even know what that means. Tipo son estupidos. You know what that means. With the Riz, we'd have a lot of fun. We'd probably end up in that movie Hostel. Oh, my gosh. That's really weird. Have some fun times. That does not sound fun. Like the first part. And plus he could fit in my backpack. Like Yoda. They'd be putting him through the x-ray machine. Calling over the supervisor. There appears to be a little man in his backpack. I'm fine with traveling in a pupoose. A what? Eddie. Question number three for Eddie.
If you were taking a trip, who would you trust to make all the plans and accommodations for you? Sean, who did Eddie say? I would have to say Sky. I would have to say you're correct. Sky was already shaking her head with a smile. Well, I mean, who wouldn't put Sky? Right. Thank you. My only hesitation with this question is when I read that it said plans. Yeah. I would be worried, like, the activities she chose for me. That would be my only hesitation. But as far as, like, coordinating everything and being on top of it and organized, please, there is no other choice. She's so anal. Well, hey, you could have just stopped right there, bro. I need to answer the question fully. No, you said something nice, and then we could have just, hey, we're good. Thank you. Next questionnaire is going to be me.
We're leaving skies for last. You're tripping. Calm down. First question I was asked is, if I were very ill, who would I let give me a sponge bath? That is ridiculous. I love it. Ashley, what do you think I put? I'm uncomfortable. Eddie wants to answer this so bad. I want it to be me. What did I put? What did I put? You would want... I'm going to say... Eddie? What? Are you crazy, Scott? Oh, bad visual. You would want Scott to give you a sponge bath. No, I'm with you. I would have picked Eddie, too, for Mike. You would have picked Eddie. For Mike. One of you, too, are giving him a sponge bath.
Well, first of all, it was impossible for me to put absolutely none of you, which is what I wanted to put. Absolutely none of you. But I couldn't put that. I had to pick one. Oh, my God. Let me tell you something. I'm not kidding you. Every person I went to was equally as bad a choice as the other. So it doesn't matter what I say. It's all the same. Yeah, I agree with you. Ultimately, I chose Rob. I'll tell you why. We can make this happen, Mike. No, we can't. Smell a bit. No, we can't. Please tell you why, Rob. The reason I picked Rob. Was because out of everybody, I thought that he would have the least judging eyes. Who's making bubbles? All right. That's awful. Hey, guys, it's Dr. Wayne. Oh, no. That's weird. I'm a local chiropractor in the area, but I also specialize in Swedish massage. Massage, we know. Yeah.
And I was just listening to your little routine you guys are doing. It's not a routine. It's a Frankie Show questionnaire. Listening to your skit on the radio here. It's not a skit. And, boy, I'll tell you what, I really do love when you guys ask these questions, but I do think that we're missing something not having Zeph participate. I know. Hold on. I know probably everybody listening is thinking that. Well, you know, because I was just sitting there listening and thinking, you know, I wonder who he would pick if. What chiropractor would you pick if you needed somebody to get you? That's not one of the questions. You know what I'm saying? It's just the people on the show, Dr. Wayne. Dr. Wayne, if you had to get a sponge bath for one member of our show, I would pick Seth. Oh, really? This is a shock. Yeah, I would definitely pick Seth, and the reason for that is because when you ask the question, I put all your names in a hat. Oh, every time. I doubt that. So anyway, my wife wants to deeply kiss me. Okay. Good luck with that. There's Dr. Wayne calling in. He's a very confused guy. So the next question that was asked of me is, if a member of the show had practiced for a year to be able to shoot an apple off your head with a bow and arrow, who would you trust to make...
The shot. I love it. Holy cow. You got some hard ones, Mike. Ashley, for a year? A year. The person practiced for a year. It's a long time. Who would I choose to shoot the arrow, or shoot the apple off my head with a bow and arrow? Yeah, do you want my honest opinion? Yes. Of who I think you should have picked? Yes. It's me. Oh, come on. I think I can do it. How many times? I smell a bit. We are so. No, for real. We are so narcissistic this show. If I have a year to practice, I'd kill it. Not you. Not you. Not me. It's just in general. Right between his eyes. Yeah, you would kill me. No, not you. Pretty much. I can pick up things really quickly. I got to tell you something. What's that, Mike? I got to tell you something. Yeah, yo. I had this weird gut feeling about this one. I can't choose Zeth, but if I could, I somehow think Zeth, he actually has these weird abilities. Yeah. You know, he can toss a football.
For a billion yards. I've watched him. Oh, really? Yeah. Like there's something that makes me think that Zeth would be really good at this. Like now. I bet without any practice, we could give him a bow and arrow and he'd probably be able to get something done. But then I thought to myself, no, he's too much of a goofball. He would put it right between my eyes. Never. And so Eddie is clearly. Thank you. I would have been offended if you didn't answer me. No way with Rob. The girls forget it. Sean would kill me for the fun of him. You know what? He used to compete as an archer. Oh, give me a break that we've never heard that. You can't just say that. I mean, are you kidding me? Yes. All throughout junior high. I object. I object, too. I object. Dude, I had the sweetest setup. I had a compound bow. Had all the stuff off of it. The quiver, the arrows, everything. The what? He just told us that he used to compete in Arch. Eddie's throwing it out like I can't even deal with it. Too much right now, right? Eddie's like, you know what? This is a bunch of baloney. I can't.
Do you remember when he told us that he used to compete in like Bolivian dance and he wore like a parka? It was not Bolivian, it was Ukrainian. Ukrainian dance. And he would wear like the Ukrainian getup and the goofy hat and the whole thing and he would dance. He is the craziest person alive. Alive. That was awesome. Alive. That was awesome. Alive. He is very crazy. No doubt about it. Very crazy. You know what I mean? Like Jeffrey Dahmer would have been like, dude, you are weird. Champion swimmer, too. What? Did you not swim, Sean? Yes, I used to compete swimming as well. State finals. Let's move on. State finals? What? What? This is garbage. Sean in a Speedo. Please. I actually had an eyes on Speedo. Well, of course. Of course you did. Get us pictures. In one now. Yeah. Not a problem. Sean, were you in high school? Junior high. How much did you weigh? About maybe 150, 165 maybe. Goodness. Yeah. Wow. That's super thin. Junior high?
Yeah. Well, he's tall. Yeah, I was over six feet in junior high. Sean's like six foot three, or what are you, Sean? Six foot three. Unbelievable. I used to compete. He's a Ukrainian archer. Yes. In a speedo. First. Somebody's got to draw that picture. You're dumb. I'm reeling. I'm reeling. Oh, too much? Now we're going to do Sky's questioning. No, I'm not ready. Did you do all three of yours? Yeah, didn't I? I think you had one more. Yeah, you had one more. You're all thrown off. Yes. My fault. Who would you trust to take your car on a cross-country trip? Your car? Who would you trust to take your car? Can you answer no one again? I know it. That's your baby. On a cross-country trip. I drive a BMW. Yeah, dude. Okay, dude. I answer Bauman.
Yes, I would trust Mark Bauman to do it. And it is my little baby. I really love her. Skye, who do you think I said I would trust? Do not answer yourself. No chance. Yeah, I think there's really only one clear answer to this question, and that is Eddie, because you trust him, he obeys the law, all of these wonderful things. I'll take you care of it. He's practical. You know, he's not going to be... But I get it there faster, Mike. I'm just putting it out there. You'd be reunited with it sooner if I... No way. No way. No way. No way. I owe no way. You behind the wheel of that thing. No way. What's up?
And Rob would have it in Mexico stripped in two seconds. Done. No, I know if Rob took it, he would be reckless. No doubt about it. Well, you have to be for a little while. But what? Get it out of the system and then you do the trip. Ashley, who I bet probably thought I was going to pick her. You didn't think on that one. Who would you have picked for me to say? I think Ashley... Would be a little crazy. Have you ever seen her drive? I hear she's crazy driving. I hear she's crazy. The worst. Insane. And Sean, who knows what would be going on. Remember the Bronco trips? Forget it. After claiming it, I would defile it. You're a bad, bad man. You have a lot of problems. You have a lot of Ukrainian issues. Now, Sky. Oh, no. Okay, I'm ready. I'm ready now. I'm nervous. I'm sweating. Very nervous. The questions are good. If Sky could speak a secret language and have only one other person on the show understand it, who would she pick to communicate with? Eddie, who did Sky say to that question? That is such a crazy question. Wow. Wow, I don't even know where to begin.
I don't think Rob and Sean are going to play into this. I think it's down to you, me, and Ashley. I'm going to say she'll probably go with the girl power and say Ashley. You. Ashley is pointing to Eddie. Why do you think Eddie? Duh. Do I really need to explain? We do have their own little secret language and inside jokes, and the two of them are in their own little world half the show anyways. Skye put Eddie. Of course she did. Of course. Of course she did. Oh, my God. I did. I did. If Skye had to eat one person's cooking and only their cooking for the rest of her life, who would it be?
Impossible questions. This was the hardest one out of all of them. This was the hardest. Well, first of all, she wrote no one and underlined it. And exclamation points. You would rather die. Exclamation points. She put none of us. Starvation, yeah. But if having to pick one, if having to pick one, Sean, who would she have put? Oh, man. This is, like, unbelievable. Dude, there's so many variables. Yes. Everyone had a negative to them. Yeah, I mean, I think, like, Mike, she would feel like you would put, like, too many spices in it. She likes spicy. No, no, I mean, like, flavors. The problem with me and Mike is we would try to sneak foods in there that we think she should try and she should eat because they're normal, and she wouldn't be down with that. Yeah. Right. So, Sean, if you had to pick, who would it be? Well, and Ashley's stuff is disgusting. It's not even true at all. It's a cat food that cats don't want. It's organic. It's organic. It's a cat food with no tongues. Yeah, right. MikeyShow.com for what I ate last night. I mean, the recipe's on there for you to enjoy. I wouldn't like it.
Unless you're looking at it at an urgent care. Unless you're a cat. It's really healthy. Unless you're a cat with little paws on the keyboard. Let's see. And B-Rob, I don't think she wants any hobo cooking. Hot pockets forever. Cook your meals in a tuna can. Pocket beans. I eat a lot of international food. Baby food. Okay, all right. So, jeez, man. It's impossible. I know, it's impossible. I'll go out on a limb and I'll say Eddie. You are correct. No way. Hold up. Sky, why Eddie? Are you kidding? She doesn't want any of us to do it. Everyone had a negative. Like, yeah, Rob Hobo food, Sean, too much curry. Ashley, I thought about Ashley for a long time because she definitely cooks really healthy, which is awesome. But she eats so much fish, and I hate fish. It's true. Every night she makes fish for dinner. I'm a partial vegetarian. You either are or you are not.
Eddie doesn't know what to do with this day. He's like, what am I supposed to do with this? I come in here and all this happens? Give me a break already. Just try to pretend she didn't say it, bro. That one really got him. He's like, she can't just say stuff on the radio. Did I mention I'm a torture? This is the last time we do this. I can't do this anymore. So it came down to Mike and Eddie, and they're both really good cooks. But yeah, Mike is like a fancy cook. My cook's like fancy stuff, and I'm not a fancy. You don't like the fancy stuff. You've eaten this food. It's really good. It is. It's amazing, but it's fancy. Like, I couldn't do that every night. With Eddie, I know we'd be getting pizza and burgers. He's going to make homemade nachos. And, yeah, he would try and sneak stuff in, but I could just pick it out. So that's why I went that way. Are you ready for the last question? Hold on to your hats. This was the last question posed to Skye. This is a ridiculous question, by the way.
You are unconscious after almost drowning, and you need someone to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on you. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Whom from the show do you pick? Eddie, that is so gross what you're doing. It's so gross. I'm not going to say it. I'm warming up. It was so gross. That's not how you perform CPR. That is not how you do mouth to mouth. I got this. I got this. I was a lifeguard for a small portion of time in my life. No beef tongue, dude. I can do this, Mike. I'll prove it. I'll prove it right here and right now. Oh, my God. It's a beef tongue, but a little bigger. Get over here, lady. A lot bigger. Yes. I found my calling. You can make like five lengua burritos out of that. Rob, who did Sky pick? Lengua means sexy. Who did Sky pick? Holy crap. Well, I honestly think... Do the right thing, Rob. She said Eddie. Yes. Of course. You are incorrect. What?
I've got a little secret language and I'll hook it up. That's not how you do that. Skye, why don't you read your answer? I chose Mikey. He is the one who has the most recent CPR training and the one who I would choose to do it. Why is everyone free? Because, Skye, you could take the phone book and go through every name in it, and I'd be the last one everybody would think you'd pick. You had CPR training right before Jake was born. Look at Eddie's face. Look at Eddie's face. And Eddie, oh, my gosh. I'm dying. What's up, dude? And little bitch. K-I-S-S-I-N.

Ladies and gentlemen, BMW Encinitas. Talk about it. Yeah. They come down here yesterday and they have in a row five beautiful BMWs. Yeah, dude. Yeah. And myself, Eddie, Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob are driving brand new BMWs from BMW Encinitas. That's right. That's how I roll. No, I've been driving an M5 for a couple of years. Everybody knows I love cars, and I love the experience of driving cars. I love to drive. I would drive a Model T if somebody put one in my hands. But the folks here on the show, cars aren't necessarily their thing. What did you guys think driving a BMW for the first time? I've never been a car guy. It's just not my thing. I just could care less about cars, but I get it now. Driving that BMW was one of the greatest experiences ever. Like, I honestly, like, the power that that thing has, it was unreal. I loved it. I loved driving it. It's so cool. And it's like they thought of everything with the interior. Like, I was trying to move the seat up when I first got in, so I'm looking for that little handle in between your legs that you pull the seat up. And it took me a while to figure out. Everything is power. Everything is, like, automatic, you know, at the touch of a button.
AC, like, the choices on the air conditioning are amazing. There's a compass. Wait, wait, wait. What? Wait. Well, she's not talking into it. There's a compass in the review mirror. Ash loved the compass. It's right in the review mirror. It'll tell you. Wait, wait, wait. What is she saying? Review mirror. Review? Review? Oh, my God. In the review mirror. I can't. She has a license. I cannot handle it, guys. She's looking from Eddie to the sky right now like... This is the biggest one yet, I think. That is easily the biggest word, Miss... Wow. It is not the review mirror. Okay. So you can review where you've been. Yes. I thought that's where you review things behind you. In the case of the review mirror.
What did you take, Mr. Mirror? B+. Oh, no, no, no. We're not letting this go. What? The review mirror. It's the rear view mirror. Rear view. Hold on. Rear view. Rear view. You guys for real? Right? Because we're looking at, in back of you, rear. You're looking. You said review. Review. practically the exact same thing. I'm just, I was really trying to talk about the compass. That's the best. I don't know why we have to stray away from the compass on the mirror. That's right. It's fantastic. Yes. It tells you which way you're going. Yes, it does. It's cool. What about, I loved, when you're backing up and you're pulling into, you know, to Parallel Park, getting close to the curb. Right. The right-hand side mirror turns down for you so you can check out where you're going, where you're back. Check the curb.
Eddie, have you noticed that? No. When you're next to a curb and you put the car in reverse, your side view mirror tilts down. Automatically? Automatically. Yeah, I was tripping out because it did that this morning when I was pulling out of my garage. And I'm like, am I hitting a button somewhere? What's going on? Did you like the smell of the car? Love it, love it, love it. Can they bottle that? I'm telling you, man. It is a great... And the reason that we're talking so much about BMW Encinitas is because... It's the only place that I will take my car. Number two, those guys are really cool. They all came down here yesterday. And Brian, the GM over there, is really cool. Very helpful. They're all P1s. And that's the thing. We kind of have an announcement to make. I talked to them, and I said that I wanted to do something really special for P1s with buying a car at BMW Encinitas. So here's the thing. He is... First of all, I liked this a lot more than he liked it, which is good for you as a listener. For sure. But by law, we can't say on the radio, we can't give the details by law, you're not allowed to. Because I just wanted to say it, and he's like, we can't. But if you go to BMW Encinitas Boulevard and you tell them that you are a P1, you'll be a happy person.
They'll tell you when you get there. Yeah. And that's all that I'm allowed to say. And then Brian will, hopefully I'll talk to Brian and he'll say that that was the right way to say it. But really cool place, and I would not send you to the wrong place. And lest you think, oh, oh, oh, BMW, I can't do it. It's too expensive. They have cars that you can get into, the new 1 Series for 28K. Very affordable. Very affordable. And just incredible cars. So it's BMW Encinitas. Sir, can you step out of the car, please? Hey, I'm not drunk. I'm just trying to get home. Not tonight. Come on, dude. Been arrested for DUI? Talk with an experienced DUI attorney now at 1-888- DUI-Hotline. And B1s, listen up, man. And Ashley. I'm a really good maker. Yes. The Mikey Show's on. All right, we're all hilarious. Rock 105.3. It is 927. The Oceanside woman who was shot during a road rage incident by an off-duty cop was charged yesterday with felony child endangerment. The New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan is retiring after his 15-year career. So I just talked to Brian. the GM at BMW Encinitas, who you guys met yesterday. Yeah. And I am allowed to say what this is on, like what cars it's on. Oh, okay. Again, this is a really crazy thing, and I told Sky and Eddie off the air what it is. It's good. It's really, really good. Yeah. Much better for you than it is for them.
And I asked Brian what the deal was with it. And I've been telling you this ever since we've been talking about BMW Encinitas. The reason that Brian is doing this is because they understand and get the Mikey show, the amount of listeners that we have, and they get all that stuff. And so they want to be the premier BMW dealership in San Diego County. and his thought from the very beginning was the Mikey show is going to help put us there, which I was so humbled by and I think is so, so, so, so cool. At the same time, I wanted him to know that we, meaning all of us here on the show, we have something very valuable to protect, and that is our word and what we tell you and all that stuff. And so any deal that they were going to do,
I needed to make sure it was something good and that I could talk to everybody about when I see you out in public. And this is good. By law, we can't say it on the air. It's just the law. There's laws about it. You have to go to BMW Encinitas and say that you are a P1. Now, it's for every three series that they have. So I'm talking about convertibles, coupes, sedans, any three series they have. Go there. Say that you're a P1 and then become happy. Yeah, trust me, this is as good as it gets. It's as good as it gets. It makes me want to just get one. Text messages that we're getting. Mikey, I think Sean needs to write an autobiography. I agree. It would be the most intriguing thing ever. It's P1 Crazy Fist. I believe that. We found out today that Sean used to...
Like win trophies by swimming in junior high and that he was also a championship archer or what? How do you say it? What were you? You were a good archer. Yeah. Competitive. Competitive archery. Yeah. Did you ever shoot like a cross, a crossbow? Crossbow? No, no, no. Why would he shoot a crossbow? Because it's got an arrow, and it's like a bow and arrow, but it's... That's not archery, though. It's not archery, though, no. It's not like the... Did you ever hunt with a bow and arrow? No. You didn't? No. Have you ever seen a bow and arrow? Yes. He used to competitively use them. Yes. Yeah, I had a great compound bow, had really nice aluminum arrows, had the quiver mounted on the compound bow. Did you shoot at apples? I don't think we ever shot at apples, but we used to put stuff on the target like water balloons and things like that just for fun. Blow them up. What got you out of the craft? We moved. We moved to California. From? Arizona. From Sherwood Forest, Mike. Hello. Hello. Shut up. Did you rob from the rich and give to the poor? That's so nice.
No, but I talk to the jerks. All right. Hey, Mikey, this is P1 Bojangles. I just got off deployment and was told that Ashley and Rob are dating. Is this true? Engaged, I think. I believe Ashley and Rob are engaged. I don't know where you heard that, but no, that is not true. Not only no, but hell no. Rob is engaged, not to Ashley. Mikey Show, Ashley is a vegetarian because she eats a lot of fish? That's what she said. Can one of you please tell her that fish is not a vegetable? Really? No, let's let her believe that. All right. Mikey, my girlfriend thought that the windshield factor was the windshield factor.

That's like Shakespearean. No, it's English. No, that's, yeah, he's right. Everybody knows what I mean. And it's not irregardless. No, it is not. That's not a word. It's regardless. It is not irregardless. Right. 570-1053 is the phone number. Text us at 35253. Ashley thought it was the... Review. Review mirror. She probably goes through this every day. Yes.
Every day. We're not joking. Yeah? There is no doubt about it. Now, do you think next time she says that, will she say it correctly or not? She's talking to somebody in there, or we'd be asking her, but she's got an engineer in there and they're trying to fix something, but the question. Probably not. She likes her way. Well, because even after we closed the microphone, she kept going, wait, what? Are you sure? It's about the same. I think Review Mirror makes more sense to her. Yeah. She has her own language and everything. As long as it makes sense to her, she's fine with it. It works. The review mirror. My dad does that all the time, man. He miss... says everything. He thinks it's American online. He says that all the time. It really drives me crazy. Dad, that's not what it is, Pop. Don't say that.
My grandmother, instead of saying, you know, Mervyn's, that department store Mervyn's, she'll say Mervyn's. And I'll correct her every time. That's funny. Rebecca's grandfather used to want to go down to Jamba Juice to get a smoochie. Really thought that. Yeah, of course. In his mind, there was no remembering smoothie. No. It was a smoochie. My wife's grandmother. I was really excited because for the first time she sat in a sacuzzi. A sacuzzi. A sacuzzi. Which I think is like a spa-jacuzzi hybrid. Yes. A sacuzzi. So now I only refer to it as a sacuzzi. Ash, are you back? Can you talk yet? No? No? She's still working? You're still doing stuff? It has to be. What happened? What happened? My whole audacity just crashed. The audacity? I'm overwhelmed right now. You didn't lose anything, did you? I lost everything. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You didn't lose, like, the... No, we're re-getting it, and I have, like, my backup. It's just a lot. It's just a lot. Okay. That I... Oh, yeah. Like, I just lost all... Like, I had, like, a lot of stuff. Oh, that blows. I'm sorry. You know, and that's what I mean. Like, at some point, the company's got to spend some dough. That can't happen. That's terrible.
5701053. And our text number is 35253. P1 Monkey Guy. Hey, what's going on, Mikey? Not too much, dude. Hey, yeah, I got one of those weird words that I thought was something different. There's a place in Texas called Whataburger. It's Whataburger. Whataburger, not... See, even you're getting it wrong. You're still screwing it up. You're getting it wrong. It's not Whataburger. It's Whataburger. It's Whataburger. All right. Well, you see, I always called it, like, Whataburger when I was growing up. Like, it makes your mouth watery and it makes thin. Yeah. No, it's not Whataburger either. It's Whataburger. It's not Whataburger. It's Whataburger. No, it's not. Bro, it's not Whataburger. We lived in Dallas. Let me tell you something. We'll leave there, okay? Pulled in there at 2 o'clock in the morning. It was a Whataburger, all right? And it don't matter if it's 2 o'clock in the morning or 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Dude, don't eat that in my car, okay? Dude, I'm starving. It's a BMW, all right? What do you want me to do, dude? I don't want you to eat in the car, bro. What do you want me to eat on the roof? That's great, dude. Come on. Dude, I don't want... Give me my sandwich, all right? I don't want new fry smell. That's not what I'm looking for in here, new fry smell. Dude, what do you want me to do? New car smell. That's what I want, all right? I'll eat it real fast.
Dude, eat it real fast on the side of the road. No, dude, I'm not a bum. You see on the... Woodsy. What's your problem? Look on the mat, bro. There's a bunch of shredded lettuce and tobacco. It's ridiculous, dude. Good deal. Pick it up. Are you raised in a barn? Come on. Yeah, dude, I was raised in a barn. I forgot about that, bro. That's so funny. No, dude, I forgot. That's so funny. I forgot you were actually raised in a barn. Thanks, dude. You're a good man, all right? No, whatever. Keep that tobacco where it is. Oh. Bro. Dude, that went all over the windshield, bro. Come on. Hang on a second. I got a handkerchief right here. Oh, dude. I'm going to wipe that off. Give me a break. I'm going to wipe that off. P1 Floyd is on the line. Yeah, hey, Mikey. This is P1 Floyd. What's up? Not much. When I was a kid, instead of Alzheimer's, I said old-timers. He's still tough. I'm still saying it, huh? You're still having a hard time. You know, you can see how I can have it. Alzheimer's, bro. I understand. Alzheimer's. Rob, what kind of food do you eat in the morning? What do you call that meal? Sausages. No. Sausages. What's the first meal of the day? Let's try. Eggs. Nope. What do you call it? Toast? Nope. You're getting closer. The entire meal? Yeah, what comes... Breath kissed. Breath kissed?
He can't even do it. He can't say breakfast. I call it breakfast all growing up. I get that. Shut your mouth. He cannot say breakfast. Breakfast. Breakfast. That is hysterical. No way, Jose. Mikey, my girlfriend would say... This doesn't make any sense. Seth. Seth, what does this mean? My girlfriend would say... Well, Seth. Oh, I got it. I got it. I got it. My girlfriend would say, take it for granite. No. No. Take it for granite. Yeah. G-R-A-N-I-T-E. Makes sense to me. Wait a minute. It's not take it for granite. I either used to say or still do. Oh, yeah. I hear people do this next one all the time. Instead of saying supposedly, what do they say? Supposedly.
I hate that, dude. Supposedly. No. My wife says pink tails instead of pigtails. Not me personally, the person in the text. Mikey, this guy at my work always says four words instead of four word. We crack up in meetings and he has no clue why. Mikey, my girlfriend thought chipmunks was pronounced chickmonks. My grandma calls the internet the intercon. I love the intercon. Let's go on the intercon. That's great. That is great. 570-1053. Let's take one and then I want to get you calling and get you texting. Erica, are you there? Yeah. What does your mom call Wienerschnetzel? Da Wiener Schnitzel. Da Wiener Schnitzel. Yeah, with a D. Well, wait a minute. Isn't that the actual pronunciation of it? I don't know. We've been fighting about it for years. Love it. Thank you. 570-1053. Do you say something real stupid? Come on. I mean, that's really what it's about. Come on. 570-1053. Text us 35253.

Why would his mother say that he was obese? I don't know what's funny. Oh, wow. It's all wrong. It's all wrong. All bad. The whole thing is wrong. It's wrong. I don't know why my mother would write in like that. All right. She's hot. Eddie. I told you about that stuff. This one says, you know the phrase blowing a gasket? I thought it was blowing a casket. It makes so much sense to me. Blowing a casket makes sense? I'm sure I've said that before. Yeah, but how does that make sense, blowing a casket? Well, you don't think about what it's actually meaning. You just think about how you say it.
And what makes sense to you. You don't think about the words you say. You just blur them out. Exactly, Sean. Like, growing up, I didn't. Like, I would never really think about the meaning behind it. You don't need to think about meaning. Just go, blah. Okay. This woman says, I'm 36 years old, and up until last year, I thought a lightsaber was a lifesaver. I did, too. And when my husband corrected me, I accused him of being a Trekkie. A double whammy. Sorry about that, Eddie. Oh, man. I mean, that is wrong on multiple levels. All bad. Terrible. It is not a lifesaver. It's a light saber that he's not a Trekkie. Yes, he is. Those are nerds. Mikey, what about when people say wash instead of wash? Yeah.
Old people say that crap. Have you guys ever known anybody that says long instead of long? How about alls instead of all? I work for a guy who thought that chloroform was the same as chlorine. Oh, wow. That's not good. A little bit of a difference. My friend likes to call truths instead of truce. Cool. My cousin used to call it the Heimlich remover. Oh, yes. I've had that before. You had the Heimlich remover? Well, I had it removed, yes. You did. My mother always says that she has a good idea. Old people again. For years, I thought it was oatmeal. Dad says Gen Ray for genre. Misogynist. Misogynist. And not a misogynist. And not a misogynist. That happened on the air live in Dallas. That was one of the greatest. Oh, dude, it was fantastic. If we had the audio of that. Because he said it on the air, you know. Oh, he did. And we were like stunned. And we didn't know what he was trying to say. He goes, yeah, he's like a misogynist. And we really, we were like, a what? You know, like when they hate women. Men hate women. Oh, no. Do you mean misogynist? Then he got it that very. I don't think that's no. No, I don't think. No. No, it's misogynist. No, bro, I think it's misogynist. Yeah. Oops. My ex and I used to fight all the time because he used to say Pacific instead of specific. Wow. Wow. Let's see. She lives 40 years in San Diego, and she cannot pronounce a Spanish word. What was it in Napoleon Dynamite that his aunt said or something? Napoleon, make a quesadilla. I have one. What? Growing up, I remember, I'll never forget, I was like seven years old. I was watching the Miss USA pageant, and it was Miss Iowa.
And I couldn't pronounce Iowa. Yeah. I was saying Iowa and my dad was trying to say it's Iowa. And I was going Iowa. I could not. You used to say Iowa? Iowa. And I could not figure out that it was Iowa. Well said. It was Iowa. My sister says Boa Constructor instead of Boa Constrictor. Oh, me too. This is actually P1 Ashley's brother is what it says. When I was younger, for backpack, I used to say pack-pack. Yeah, like pack twice. I don't know how that made any sense. Right. And then laptop, I would say lab-top.
And I could never say Massachusetts when I was younger. It was Massachusetts or something like that. Careful with that one. Yeah, be very careful. Lots of people say instead of taking a picture, they will take a picture. Picture, yeah. Picture. Take a picture. Yeah, picture. Yeah, take a picture. Mike, you show. I'm dumb. I cannot say ridiculous because of the movie. Ridicorous? Ridicorous. There you go. I have one. I correct people on a lot. What? A lot of people say, I couldn't care less, but it's really, I could care less, because if you couldn't care any less, then you wouldn't be caring at all. But if you could care less, then it's showing that you could care less. That's right. People do that. It's a proverbial slip. Okay, wait a minute. Mikey's show. Yes, please. I used to drive in New Jersey, and it was a turnpike, and I used to look for the black guys. The what? The black guys? The black guys. Instead of what? Oh, the black ice. Yes.
