It's 6.04. Sarah Palin brought the highest ratings in 14 years to Saturday Night Live this weekend. I don't think this is the kind of lights out that the Chargers were looking for. They had the Charger fans couldn't even watch the first half of the game because of a blackout of the Bills Stadium. Chargers, they lost to the Bills 23-14. Norv Turner. Oh, no. No. What's up, man? You know, I thought our team was focused. Our team came in here ready to play. I thought we're, from a standpoint of the way they prepared all week, I thought it was outstanding. You know, the keys to me in the first half, I didn't think we finished blocks as well as we can. I didn't think we tackled as well as we can. Eddie. Go. Eddie. With that same squad, if that same squad had Bill Parcells as their head coach, do you think that they would have still... Oh, Eddie just got a giant smile, like the smile formed on his face like that. According to Norv, everything went okay. Everything was fine. I don't understand that. I have to say this, that how many weird things can happen to the Chargers this year? I know.
Like, you know, granted, they lost. They, you know, no excuses. But, I mean, not playing an entire first half with no play clock, with no scoreboard, like, nothing. Like, dude, that's got to throw you off a little. You know, no excuses. They absolutely, you know, blew it. But still, it's just weird, man. Yeah, because Buffalo, for whatever reason, was able to get over it. Yeah, they figured it out. They figured it out. But it's just, it's creepy. Like, I'm not kidding. The Tennessee Titans sure do look good, right? You know, they're undefeated, and they look really super good. And I go, what are the similarities between the Titans and the Chargers? And I was like, they're pretty different. Very different. They're very different. Yeah, I mean, the Titans play stout defense. Wow. Stout defense. We do not. We do not do that. We cannot stop future Hall of Fame quarterback Trent Edwards.
We can't stop anybody. But what about Quentin Jammer? He's out there doing his best, and he's out there trying his heart out. Yeah, I mean, he can't make every tackle, though. Nobody makes tackles on our team. It's brutal. Can't put pressure on a quarterback. So if you can't put pressure on a quarterback, anybody can stand back there and just pick apart a defense. It's brutal. It's not very difficult. So it's, you know, all you can say is, hey, look, this team is not as good as we thought it was. They aren't. They're not as good as we thought they were. Cool looking uniforms. That's true. I'll say that. Their uniforms look super cool. That is a positive point, Mike. Yeah, when they go out there and stuff and you look at the uniform, you're like, ooh, look at that. Wow. That is fancy. Nice. But, yeah. What is their record, Eddie, the San Diego Chargers? Three and four. Three and four? Yep. Oh, not so good. I hope they do better. Me too. Next they go to London, so I'm sure it gets a lot easier, right? Oh, there it is. Well, we do have some good stuff for you on the show today. That's the good news. We got audio of Saturday Night Live. Oh, my.
With Sarah Palin. Oh, my. Yeah, Sky just said it was the biggest rated, man. Yeah, in the last 14 years. The one that was highest rated previously to that was the one when Nancy Kerrigan went on right after she got, you know, her legs all. Oh, really? After the Tonya Harding thing. Wow. Yeah, 14 years ago. Oh, my gosh. So it was a huge weekend for Saturday Night Live. Did you see it, Sky? Yeah. Eddie, did you see it? I did not. Anybody else see it? I watched the opening skit before. You did? Yeah. I thought the opening skit was weak. You did? So bad. So disappointed. Especially the ideas that were rumored to happen. Like they were saying that Sarah Palin may do a bit on Tina Fey in her American Express commercials. No. No. No, no, no. Sarah Palin played it way safe.
and did something. I heard they wrote a bunch of stuff for her, but she didn't want to do it. Yeah, well, they did this cheesy, cheesy intro that was totally lame, and then during Weekend Update, there was this, like, rap, and Sarah Palin came out and said, you know what? I don't think it would be appropriate for me to do it, so Amy, will you do it for me? So a nine-month pregnant Amy Poehler is up there rapping like it's coming out of Sarah Palin's mouth. Really? Which, the rap was hilarious and they have Eskimos dancing behind her and then one of the dudes dresses up as Sarah Palin's husband and then a moose comes out in a suit and they're shooting it. But Sarah Palin herself, nah. But, I mean, the rap itself was really funny. Well, we got it. We got the audio of it, so we'll play that for you. Our phone number, 570-1053. Our text number, 35253. We're actually going to elect a president on November the 4th. Wow. I know it. That's crazy. That is crazy. I can't believe how close that is. We're really close to that. November the 4th is two weeks away. Two weeks. Oh, wow. We're going to elect another president in two weeks and a day.
That's really gnarly. Could be a black guy. Yeah, could be a black guy. Holy moly. I don't know. Does anybody know about polls or anything? Like where we stand in the polls? Like where we are? Like is McCain ahead? Is Obama ahead? Who's leading in the polls? Yeah, I don't know the specific numbers, but Obama is leading. He is? Yeah. I would have. say that the love for McCain is slowly dwindling over the last couple weeks. The love. Yeah, well, he kind of hit a high of love after the whole Sarah Palin announcement and wrote a buzz of that for a couple weeks. And at that point, the polls were tied. It was a dead heat. But then, you know, over the last couple weeks. Listen, we got some good news. Remember the six-year-old little boy? It broke my heart when Sky told this story about the six-year-old little boy in Vegas, right? Update. Vegas this weekend. It's indescribable. I thank this whole community. I can't thank you enough. And this police department is... It's the little boy's dad. They work nonstop.
Cole Puffenberger was found late Saturday night on a quiet street outside a church in Las Vegas. The boy was snatched from his home last Wednesday by suspected drug dealers posing as police officers. Police say the boy's in very good condition and their investigation will now shift focus. Our focus now goes on to the drug dealing, to potential extortion issues, as well as other issues. Police are now trying to untangle any ties the boy's grandfather may have to the Mexican drug dealers suspected of taking him. They arrested Clemens Tenemeyer on Friday and believe he stole millions of dollars from a Mexican drug cartel. They suspect the abduction was intended as a message to him. Right now, police are looking for this man, Jesus Castellum. They say he's a person of interest in their investigation. South Korea. Aye, aye, aye. Yeah, so basically this bus driver was just driving on Saturday night and saw this little six-year-old boy walk in on the streets of Vegas by himself and pulled over and was like, hey, little guy, are you okay? And the little boy said, can you please take me home? And I guess the little boy had just been dropped off like minutes earlier by the kidnappers. And like they said there on the news, the grandfather of this boy had allegedly stole lots and lots of money from Mexican drug dealers. That's smart. Yeah. It's a trip.
They dropped him off in front of a church. I don't know if it was in front of a church because the bus driver said that, you know, the newscast right there was the first I've heard of the church. But the bus driver said that the little boy was walking down the street. So I don't know if it was a coincidence that he happened to be in front of a church when, you know, the bus driver saw him or who knows, maybe for some reason the kidnappers thought that that was the right place. Yeah. Huh. What a trip. Who knows? I'm so glad. Yeah, really. Oh, I'm so glad that little kid's all right. Oh, that is such good news. 570-1053 is our number. Our text is 35253. I bet a lot of guys were very confused yesterday when the power went out in Buffalo during the Charger game. I was. Brutal. I was switching around, you know, games. And so when I went to Channel 8 and they were carrying the Pittsburgh. game, I was like, what? Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, I was like, what's the matter with my stupid remote? I'm like, this is what is going on? I'm trying to figure it out. Power went out there. It happened while I was on the air. Really? Yeah. No way. We were on the air and we went to break and Laz was in Buffalo. Eddie's on the pregame show. Yeah.
So Laz was in Buffalo. Yeah. And the guys that run the controls pop into the studio and go, we just lost complete power in Buffalo and we can't get a hold of the broadcast team. So, Eddie, you may have to stay on until they get power back. And I went, oh, so what do I do? Call the game from the TV? Like, what are you talking about? No, I don't want to do that. And they're like, well, that's all we can do. I'm like, okay. So I come back on and I have to host for like 20 minutes waiting for them to get back power. Right. And right before we were like over by like two minutes to go to the network. Right. You know, we throw it to the network broadcast, which is where Josh and Hank pick up. Right. You know, and we're like two minutes over and I heard in my ear, Josh, Josh's voice. And I go, oh, thank you, God. And so I wrapped up and I threw it to Josh. Right. And he took it. And so that was it. I was like, oh, okay, so we're cool. Everybody's cool. And so I was done for the day, and I took off. And another maybe 20 minutes went by, and power went out again. And Josh and Hank had to call the game from a landline. So they were calling the game from a phone for the first half of the game. I got in my car this morning, and I'm driving in, and I'm listening to...
And right as my radio turns on, I hear, you know, a phone, a voice on a phone. And, you know, when you first get in your car, you're not really actively listening. You're not really paying attention. But my ears perked up because I heard in the news, they said, and what you heard there was a call from, and then my, you know, I don't, didn't really hear what they said. They had to call the game on the phone because the power was up. And I went, oh, my goodness, they're talking about either Josh Lewin or the Buffalo team. So now it's all coming together. Wow. It was crazy. Josh and Hank called the game on a telephone. Yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. And I actually was, you know, I listened to that because I had to know what was going on in the game. Yeah. So, you know, I wasn't even watching the Steeler game that they put on. I just put on the radio and I was listening to that. Did you hear what it was that made the power go out? Yeah, it was balloons.
hitting, you know, like wires. Yeah. And it blew up transponders like all over the place. Oh my gosh. Balloons. I heard it was Mylar balloons and I'm like, what is that even? No. Is that like a little kid balloon or is that like a big hot air balloon or what is that? Mylar balloons are the ones with the foil and like they normally have the pictures on them. Come on. Yeah. Like happy birthday and there's like a dock holding balloons on it. No. No. Come on. That's a Mylar balloon. But they're like those metallic ones. Yeah. And then there's silver on the back. Yeah. Is what put the power out? Yep. Oh, my goodness. 2008. Yeah. Total 2008. Now, welcome. Welcome to 2008. CBS had to be real happy about that. Oh, yeah. They just kept saying, like, because we had it on, you know, they kept repeating the fact that it was not their fault. This is a power outage at the stadium because they didn't want the calls and the mail. They probably lost millions in advertising dollars because it wasn't the Chargers. People pay to broadcast the Chargers games. They pay for the rights to put their commercials on the Chargers games. I'm sure they had to refund all those commercials. Can you imagine, by the way, can you imagine what the average
Charger fan, not the average, let's say, can you imagine the hardcore Charger fan turning his TV on and thinking that the local affiliate thought that the Cincinnati-Pittsburgh game was a better game, and so let's show it. That guy, whoever that guy or girl is, whoever they are must have flipped out and lost their cock-a-doodie mind. My favorite was, you know, when it happened and they switched over to the Steeler game, The announcers for the Steelers-Bengals game said what was going on, and Rich Gannon, who was the analyst, actually says, oh, well, this is a better game anyway. Oh, wow. First of all, Rich. No, it isn't. It isn't. And second of all, you are a jerk. Because we're all angry, and now you're saying that. A better game. He's an idiot. In what universe? Oh, my. Let's see. Mikey, have you ever had, these are text messages, 35253, and call us, 570-1053. Mike, have you ever had one of those mornings when you just don't want to wake up? I did, but you guys already started making me smile. That's P1 Andrew. Awesome! I rested up this weekend, and so I was good to go today. But I'll tell you, in the last couple of weeks, I've had those days, so I know what he's talking about. Oh, yeah. I needed the Mikey show this morning to wake me up. You did. First time you lost in days. Yeah. What?
Oh, no. Just saying. Somebody's been up since one, okay? Oh, no. What? What are you talking about? What? What are you talking about? What? I woke up at one, and the boo was not in bed. So, immediately. He must be dead. Yes, of course. In her mind. That wasn't the thought, but okay. So, immediately, I start. He's got a prostitute downstairs. Yes. We don't know. We don't know what goes on down. With his girlfriend. We don't know what goes on down there. There's a hot little tart down the street who washes her car in her bikini. So we don't know. Eddie just looked at me like, Mike, has she lost her mind? So 1 o'clock, I wake up. I have to use the ladies' room. I get back in bed, and I'm laying there going, okay, so do you get up and search the house and find him? Or do you just be normal and go to bed? So I'm like, be normal, be normal. And so I'm laying there trying to go to bed, trying to go to bed, being normal. It's impossible. It's impossible. It was impossible. And so I'm about to get out of bed and search the house at about like 1.15 and he walks in the room. I was like, okay, good. So he walks in the room. He goes to bed. He falls out immediately. I'm still like all wound up in my stupid head. He starts snoring like a bear.
I'm putting the pillow over my head. So wait a minute. When he came in, you were not good to go. I thought when he came in, you'd be like, oh, good. Oh, no. Because my mind was already wound up at this point. Where was he? Yeah. What's going on down there? Down the street. He's washing cars. Yeah. One in the morning. One in the morning. You didn't ask him? No. No. I mean, how many times have I shown myself to be crazy to him when I go searching for him in the house? Right. So I figured I'd just leave it be. But that's unusual for him, right? You're not used to him coming in at 1 a.m. You're used to him being in bed at a normal time. Yeah, normally he'll come in like at 11-ish, you know. But so then he starts snoring and I can't get back to sleep. So I've basically been up since 1 o'clock. Wow. Yeah. That is... A little tart down the street. Oh, no. Don't he dare. Yeah. Who's out there washing their car in booty shorts? Right, please. What are booty shorts, Eddie? Please. Can you explain? I don't know what those are. She needs to check herself. The real tight butt huggers. She's like the bottom part of the cheek is kind of hanging out a little bit. Are those jeans? Are those daisy boots? No, they can be cloth. Cloth? Yeah. I mean, they're almost underwear. Yeah. Which are awesome. You should have her arrested, Sky. Thank you. 570-1053 is the number. Well, this went well. Well, thank you. The boy's a lucky man. I'm not kidding. Come on.
I know, that's what Eddie was thinking right now. Oh, wow. That's right. Eddie's thinking his friend Sky's nuts. Yeah. Good morning, Mikey Show. So what time did B-Rob show up to Sky's birthday party? That's P1 Sacramento. The over-under was 40 or 45 minutes, Eddie? 7.45. 7.45. Parents over at 7 o'clock. Parents was over at 7. And Rob hit the over. What time did I get there? Everyone took the over except for Eddie. Yeah, like I thought right around 8 o'clock. It was 8.01 he got there because Ashley had her money on 8.10. But he got there at 8.01. Yeah, we almost made him wait outside for the nine minutes because I really wanted to win. That's right. I would have kicked that door in, man. Let me down. It was the...
First time I had ever got to be in the room when a Red Sox game was on and Boston Rob was there. And even my wife wanted to know on the way home, what was it like? I learned some lessons. You did? I learned some lessons. I just kept my mouth shut. I just tried not to say a word. You were so quiet in the corner on your phone. I was like, Mike, there's a great game going on. I didn't want to do anything that could change the nature of what was happening. I wanted it to stay the way it was. I was afraid really to move. But it worked, you know? It worked. And they won the game. Her brother. Almost killed me. I know. I felt so bad. I heard it. I heard it. Because my brother, like, he doesn't listen to the show. Right. So, you know, he doesn't really know any of our personalities. He doesn't know, like, anything about any of us, except for me. And so he's just being drunk guy, talking, talking. And then finally I had to say to him, hey, Rob is crazy superstitious. Don't say anything for the rest of the night. I was trying to tell Sarissa, like, can you?
Talk to him. I felt so bad. Like, you need to be the moderator here. Me, I'll just lose it. Now, all he did was make one comment. No, wrong. No, I think there were like two. Was there two comments? The only one I remember was, the only one I remember was, I heard him say, hey, because he came in, I was sitting on the most comfortable piece of furniture ever created. You became a part of it. Yeah. Ever created. One with it. Just buy it off her. It was crazy. Wonderful device. Device. What is that called? I don't know. It's a chaise lounge and we refer to it as the cloud. Yes. The cloud. Yeah. And so, dude, it's this like two or three people can sit on sort of recliner. Imagine a couch made for two. if the part where your legs go sticks out and is long. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah. Oh, dude. Oh, yeah, yeah. I know exactly what that is. Yeah, it's like a big fluffy chair with the arms that has like an ottoman attached to it. So it's like one long piece. Yeah. And it's wide, like a chair and a half. Yep, exactly. I desperately want one. Desperately. Desperately. Oh, and so I was camped out and...
I was sitting in there by myself at the time because the game had gone into commercial. And so Rob went out for a smoke break with his fiance. And so I was in there by myself and Sky's brother walked in the room and he goes, where's Rob? And I go, I think he's outside. And he goes, outside the game's on. And I go, I know. So he walked out and I heard your brother say, dude, the Red Sox just won the World Series. Oh, wow. And my brother thinks he's joking and being funny, and he has no idea what he's doing. I'm like, dude, I'm watching the game from outside. You should never say stuff like that again. Yeah, Rob was like at the window, like actually watching the game through the window, but my brother didn't know, and my brother has no clue what he's dealing with here. So I had to have a little talksy with the brother. At ninth inning, like Papelbon comes in, you know, you're hoping for... Three up, three down, real easy. And Clown in the corner is going, easy out. And I'm like, I'm tapping on Sarissa going, like, if you don't say something, me and him might have a problem tonight. Like, can't deal with it. Calm down, everyone. Yeah. So.
We could have put you in the other room if you needed to. I almost just got up and went and helped myself, put the TV on, and said, I can't do it. Yeah, at one point, because, you know, there was a barbecue over at my house, so I kind of clean up as the evening's going on. Well, Rob's sitting there, and he has an empty plate in front of him with a bunch of crumpled up napkins and trash on it. So I'm not saying a word, trying to be quiet. He's watching the game. I go in and go to, like, reach for the plate to take it. And this dude almost cut my head off. No way, Jose. He's about to slap her hand. He's like, no. I was like, oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize. I'm surprised you didn't go over to our house like in the seventh inning yesterday to watch the game. I know it. I know it. I was contemplating driving up there. So we're avoiding the obvious, Eddie. We have to get to it. Well, yesterday's game. It was game seven of the ALCS yesterday. Oh, it was tough. The Tampa Bay Rays. have gone from worst to the World Series as they win Game 7 over the Red Sox 3-1. I was genuinely sad for B-Rob. Oh, that's a bummer. We lost it ourselves, you know. We had opportunities. Tons of opportunities. They left tons of guys on base. It's ridiculous. Big Poppy, what's up with that guy? He's hurting. He's hurting. Yeah, but come on.
You can't get a base hit. He goes for a home run like every swing. Yeah, but his timing's off, man. When you got that left wrist thing, what are you going to do? You give him the thumbs down all you want. Eddie just gave the Joaquin Phoenix thumbs down. I'm sorry. As an unbiased guy watching that team. As sorry as you want. Listen, I apologize that our team didn't win. But you've got to point some fingers, right? Yeah, and I pointed fingers at the whole team. Dude, he points the fingers at himself. You know he believes that he was responsible for something he did yesterday. No way, Jose. But I'm telling you, we got to get these guys healthy, you know, and I'm glad we got some time to do that now. You know what I'm glad about? At least now, hey, now that it's over, you're back, you know, you're normal. We did great this year. Yeah, hey, dude. April's five months away. I'm getting ready. He finally changed his clothes. That's right. Yes, he did. I didn't want to. He wore that filthy thing over to Sky's house on Saturday night. It's not filthy. He'd been wearing it for how many days, Rob? I don't know. Three or four? Oh, my. Eddie, who won the poker pot? I didn't. It came down to Eddie and Brandon on Saturday night. Eddie took it. Awesome. Nice. Nice. It was a fun night.
Sorry about being in the bathroom for 30 minutes. I'm an old man. I was in the bathroom for 30 minutes at Skye's house because my... Oh, can we also talk about the... No. I asked Skye for some Tums. Oh, dude. I've never laughed so hard in my life. That was the best. Skye goes upstairs to get me some Tums. Oh, my gosh. She is upstairs looking down into her living room from upstairs, and she throws me the bottle of Tums, and I scream like a 12-year-old girl. The Tums hits my hand and sprays Tums everywhere throughout her living room. She's going to be finding Tums forever. was like from my perspective because I was on the couch next to you Mike and you're like Ottoman and you were literally like molded into that Ottoman like I thought you were like as one with it and it started coming at you and you your face went from like relaxed to oh my gosh what am I supposed to do what am I supposed to do like you didn't know what you were supposed to do you just kind of threw your hands up in the air but like with really no intention on actually catching it it was a block it was a block I was like oh
I was just trying to save my life at that point. Why were you screaming? I was trying to save my life. It was so awesome. Because a plastic bottle of Tubbs was being tossed at him. That's right. Sky goes, I should have probably known better than to throw something to Mike. I forgot that I'm not allowed to throw things to Mike. Yeah, I'm not allowed to do that. I've learned my lesson. And for those of you that are wondering, you know, mommy had an appetite that night. That's all I'm going to say. Oh, yeah, she did. Mommy had an appetite. And everything was delicious. So gross, man. I mean. The woman likes to eat, okay? The plethora of food that was at my disposal was awesome. She went for it. That's all I'm telling you. She went for it. Why would I not? Yeah, why would you not? You know, wasted? I mean, Mike, she said she was full like eight times and then kept eating. That's true. She had mini corn dogs. Like, who does that? And when we cut my birthday cake, she was like the first in life of the plate. And everyone's like, yeah, I think Skye should probably get the first piece. She's like, whatever. No, Mr. Skye was being adamant about trying to, like, save you the first piece because I was right there and I was trying to get it.
That's hilarious. So he put a piece aside for you and then gave me the second piece. That is fantastic. The cake was amazing. Quick question for the Oracle. P1 Carolina, are you there? Hi, it's Carolina. Carolina, what's up? Hi, good morning, Mikey Show. Good morning. Okay, question for the Oracle. Yesterday during the Giants game, Plaxico and his coach got into it verbally, and I was... Just wondering what kind of play did he make. I didn't understand what happened. Lucky you with the fancy question. That's right. I like it. Come on, lady. Well, apparently Plaxico was flagged for offensive pass interference, and when he was coming back to the sideline, his head coach, Tom Coughlin, was saying something to him about it, and Plax turned around, and you could read his lips, and it was a dirty thing they told him to do. It was not pleasant. Told him something off. And, you know, obviously that is going to be a situation for them with plaques getting suspended already once this season. And, you know, I'm sure Tom Cloughlin isn't going to take that very lightly. I'm sure he's going to get some money out of his wallet and see what happens. There it is. Thank you, sir. Thank you. That was P1 Carolina.
And if you would like to get on the air with the Mikey Show, you can call 570-1053. Oh, what is that? What is that? What is that? Is that birthday cake? Yeah. She made such a big cake. There was so much left. I didn't know how many people were coming. Yeah, I ate like four pieces yesterday. I still have like half a cake at home. That is awesome. It's so good. Our phone number is 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. In less than a half an hour, we will be asking Sean Merriman, what's up with the San Diego Chargers? Hey, hey. Sean Merriman is a weekly contributor here on The Mikey Show, so we'll be talking to him before the hour's up. Also this morning on the show, we have something called the Dumb Chick Challenge. Not a bad ride overall. We've got South 15 kind of jamming up, though, as usual, out of Escondido up to 78 down to Via Rancho Parkway in a minor slowdown down towards the Poway area. Northbound 15, there is an accident just before Tierra Center Boulevard wrapping up on the right-hand shoulder, so watch for that.
and the North 805, a little bunched up toward that South Bay freeway coming out of Chula Vista. Other than that, everything else is up to speed looking pretty nice, so enjoy the ride. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Mikey Show. Hey, people, I'm Brad. What's up, Brad? I went to Sleep Frame, got myself one of the freaking nicest mattresses there. They gave me it for less than half-bite. What kind of mattress? I got the Surgeon Foster Silver Dream. That's the one I have. That thing is supposed to be like $3. $69.95 or something. No. I think I got it out the door $28.50. I got it for $3,200 and then somebody else at another store beat up my price. So they came back and beat it by 5%. Damn. That's nice. And they gave me free mattress cover, free pillow covers. What size did you get? A twin? Or what did you get? I got the California King. Oh. Oh, you big pimp. Ashley's in. Oh, dude. It's pretty comfortable, huh? I'm still waiting to get it. I have a roommate that's moving out soon, and it's going to go in that room. Oh, it's the greatest bed ever. That's the mattress I sleep on. Welcome back. It's 642. Former Secretary of State Colin Powell announced yesterday that he endorses Barack Obama for president. Reggie Bush injures his knee that requires surgery. He's going to miss several weeks, including Sunday's game against the Chargers in London. As you guys know, P1 Danny, he's a Hall of Famer. I mean, this guy created an entire community on LUNS called P1Site.com. And the guy's just amazing. And we got a text message from P1 What's Hampooning. And he says, props to P1 Danny. He made a panda, panda, panda ringtone. Nice. Fantastic. What?
I mean, can you imagine getting to have Panda Panda as your ringtone? My phone is ringing. Hello. It's a song. Sean's calling. Oh, it's Sean on the line. Hello, Sean. Hello, Sean. Hi. What are you doing? What are you up to? You at a convention? What's up? It's not a convention. Are you at the convention center? What are you doing? Hey, Sean, I hope you don't mind that even though I've answered the phone, I still let your ringtone go. I still like to hear your ringtone. A question for the Oracle on text message 35253. Oracle, is it safe to say that LT is not getting better and should be recovering on the bench? Broken hearted. That's P1. Charger junkie. It's not his fault. It's not. It's not his fault.
The offensive line has to play better. They're not playing very well, and the Chargers aren't committed to the run. This happens sometimes where if you only run the ball a few times and you just give up, then you're never going to get a running game established. So it's not LT's fault. He's doing the best he can. There you go. Eddie has some scores from over the weekend, so I'm going to be thinking. fantasy football, and in general, what happened yesterday? I don't even know what happened. Big upset. The Dallas Cowboys have lost to the St. Louis Rams yesterday with obviously no Tony Romo. But Jim Haslett for the St. Louis Rams, now 2-0 as the head coach for the Rams, upsetting the Dallas Cowboys yesterday. 34-14. Oh, my. Wasn't even close. The Cowboys got beat by the Rams 34-14. 34-14. Oh, my. Huge. Baltimore upset Miami 27-13. The Giants beat San Francisco 49ers 29-17.
The New Orleans Saints, they very much remind me of the Chargers. One week good, one week bad. They got crushed by Carolina 30-7. The Vikings and Bears, they had a shootout, which is weird because you think defense with those two teams. The Bears won 48-41. Pittsburgh beat Cincinnati 38-10. Tennessee remains the only unbeaten team in the NFL at 6-0, beating the Chiefs 34-10. Houston beat Detroit 28-21. Wow. Last second field goal. Janikowski hits a 57-yarder in overtime to beat Brett Favre and the Jets 16-13. Washington beats Cleveland 14-11. Indianapolis, what's going on with them? They lost to Green Bay 34-14. And then the Sunday night game, Tampa Bay with Jeff Garcia. Doubled up Seattle 20-10. Wow. Wow. And then what about tonight? Monday Night Football tonight. Rob, this will make you feel better. Denver taking on New England. In New England. How about that, Rob? Are you excited? Yeah. Switch your attention? Oh, I guess. Refocus. It won't distract me for tonight. Yeah. I need a little time off from sports. Yeah. Maybe the most boring World Series I've ever heard of in my life. You know, give it a chance because these Tampa Bay Rays, no offense, Rob, they are exciting. Yeah. They are young and really, really talented. Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean.
If you've never watched them before, this is a good opportunity for you to check them out. Which no one has. No one has. I don't care all the Ray fans that are all of a sudden coming out of the woodwork. Oh, I used to live in Tampa, and I love... Shut your face. He's not bitter. He's not bitter. No, not at all. Their attendance total this year was 8,000, so get out of here. Hurts, sadness, and fear. Thank you. Rob, would you even watch a second of it? You're a baseball fan just out of baseball fanhood. I would want to see the Phillies crush the Rays. Oh, really? I'm not rooting for either. Don't do that. I've never liked the Rays. Why would I like the Rays? It's a team. They were in last place last year. And they should go back to last place. Oh, jeez. I don't like you. It's a hurt talking, all right? Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, Sky's husband. Mr. Sky gave a toast to her at her birthday. Wow. What? That's shocking. He is a sweet man. It was very sweet and a tad bit uncomfortable in the beginning. A tad bit uncomfortable. Why? It was a little uncomfortable in the beginning. It was extremely uncomfortable. Well, I'm part of it. Well, knowing that he hated every second of it, which for me, maybe the most hysterical thing in the world was Eddie going, Eddie says to Mr. Sky,
And he's hating every second of this. How did you say it? I was saying, you don't have to do this. You don't have to do this. Well, you guys know how he started, right? He gave a good toast, by the way. No, he did. He did. But you know the reason he gave the toast, right? No. Somebody, I think, like, I think it may have even been you, Mike. You, like, raised your water bottle or something. You're like, to you. Or, like, just joking around. Like, somebody did that. Yeah. And then I looked at my husband and gave him one of the. I didn't know that you helped him. Wow. It was just a look. That poor guy. That is fantastic. That's great. That's awful. That poor guy is putting up swings. He built her a castle. That's not good enough. That's right. It's a beautiful toast. I was very proud of him. He did a great job. My goodness. It doesn't bother you at all how uncomfortable he was? Once a year, bro. He hates it. Once a year is all he has to do. I cover the rest of him. What if once a year he says you need to put a nail through your finger? I'd do it. You would not. You would not. I would. You would not. For him, I would. You are fantastic. That's terrible. It's called love. Thank you. Is that what it is?
We're going to have Sean Merriman on the show here in just a few minutes to ask him what's wrong with the Chargers. Speaking of football, Eddie actually lodged a complaint with our local CBS affiliate. Yeah, dude. I was furious. Why? Talk about it. Furious. Well, after the Charger game, we got two games here in San Diego. Yeah. One, it wasn't Fox's fault. They only had one game. And it was the Detroit Lions versus the Houston Texans. That's ugly. Which may be one of the worst games ever in the history of football. But it wasn't their fault. It was the only game they could play. But CBS has a choice. The local affiliate has a choice of what game they wanted to air. And they chose to air the Raider-Jets game over the Colts-Packers game. And that is unbelievably bad. Unbelievable. The Colts-Packers game was their number one, the CBS main game yesterday. But they decide, well, we have an AFC West team in the Chargers, so obviously everybody in San Diego will want to see the Raiders because they're also in the AFC West. Right? No. No. In fact, it's almost wrong thinking. Yeah. Like, who wants to watch...
The team you don't like. Yeah. Except fans of the team you don't like. Yeah, I mean, there are some Raider fans in San Diego, but I'm sure there's a lot of Packer fans in San Diego. Oh, yeah. They travel real well. So it just doesn't make any sense to me that they didn't air that game. And I was furious. So what did you do? I've had enough of these guys at CBS over there. Shenanigans. And they do this all the time. Take a stand. So I placed a phone call. Oh, a phone call? Yes. Thank you. To the affiliate and left a message. Yeah. I know who the head guy is over there. If only we had the audio of this message. If only we had the audio of this message. Reenact. What did you say? I just sent some thoughts and feelings that I had of their line of thinking. And I wasn't very pleased at the time. And so I wanted my voice to be heard. Nice. My goodness. Oh, yeah. It's unbelievable. Oh, it's brutal. 570-1053 is our number. Our text number is 35253. And when we come back, we'll be talking to Sean Merriman. Awesome. So we can ask him. What's the matter with the Chargers?
The lights went out. The lights went out. Get it? Lights out. Lights out coming. It's his nickname. There it is. 35253. That's our text. If you don't text us, I guess I'm just going to have to start texting the show myself. Like, hey, Mike, what's up? It's Mike. Our phone number is 5701053. And don't forget, we got a little DCC coming up. Some dumb chick challenge on the way. And we got updates on what are you nervous about. Do you guys remember what were some of the things that the people we got some calls on that people were nervous about? One guy was going out on a date from a chick he's never seen before. He met on Craigslist. That's right. One guy had a giant family coming in from Italy. Yeah. 17 kids. Yeah. And we talked to the gal that was moving out to North Carolina to meet up with her dude from the military. Yeah. She's only been in the same room with like twice. Twice. So we got to get an update. So we're going to be doing that soon too. Don't go away. And also, and we got a full show today. We have such a full show today. When we come back, we're going to fit all this stuff in. When we come back, Eminem has made a pretty bold statement. And we will find out what it is when we come back.

What did he say? Well, he's releasing his autobiography called The Way I Am. And so he sat down for an interview with Entertainment Weekly and talks about after his friend Proof was shot and killed in 2006, how it really made him reevaluate everything. And he says that he regrets.
that he was so angry in the beginning of his career that his behavior, you know, was kind of like from an angry place. Some of his lyrics, some of his performances, there was a lot of anger there. Now looking back on it, he regrets it. He tells stories about how he would carry a gun around and like one time like a fan came up and found his house and was ringing his doorbell like nonstop and finally Eminem like opened the door and put like a gun in the dude's face. No way. And he was like, yeah, that was wrong. He's like, I should have gone to jail for that. Like, you know, you can't do that. He's like, I just was really angry, and I regret that. Whoa. Yeah, very interesting. He's got a book coming out. Yep, The Way I Am. Really? Yeah. He's a very talented guy, Eminem. Mm-hmm. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. What about this? This is the Bud Light Sean Merriman Report. I love talking on lights. Lights out, Sean Merriman on the line. Sean, how are you? Not too much, dude. I couldn't wait to get you on and ask you what's going on with this team. Yesterday, well, first of all, you were watching the game from here, right? Right, right. And so you must have been a little confused when all of a sudden, no game? Yeah, I found that a little bit weird, man. Like they had it sabotaged over there. Yeah. Sabotage. You ever been a part of a game like that where the power goes out at the place you're playing?
No, I always try to get it done right before I do my lights out dance and never wanted to do it. Right. That's right. Usually your lights out dance and power everything back up. It's the Chargers. How ironic. It's the Chargers and there's no power. That's a weird thing. Yeah. So, Sean, if I were to put this really simply, what's the matter with the San Diego Chargers? Yeah, I think a few different things. I mean, I just think that we're not able right now to come back from being down in games and teams are putting up points. I think everybody was pretty excited about us winning against New England last week. So I guess a little bit of that carried over into this week and we just seemed like we wasn't as focused out there. It always seems to be a situation where it's that relative that you have that's really, really smart. has like a phd and uh they're working at footlocker you know it's that kind of deal uh where you go there's so much better than this uh it's almost like you know like like a fast car they just keep it in the first gear sometime and uh it's frustrating and i can only imagine you know how how it's frustrating for the fans it's frustrating for me to sit back and watch it um because you know how good we are you know we can do we weren't playing well
And right now we're just not. Yeah, I mean, the team honestly has enough talent, you would think, and are talented enough to be undefeated if it was in their head to be undefeated. But that was a great way to put it. It's like a Ferrari in first gear. And you just so badly want to go, guys, shift, shift, shift, shift, shift. But it is what it is. Eddie. Sean, it seems like one of the big issues is pressure on the quarterback. It doesn't look like they're getting any pressure on the quarterback, which is obviously your forte. What are you seeing out there, and why aren't they able to get pressure on the quarterback? Yeah, I think one of the best things we're able to do is move around on defense and kind of keep offenses on their toes and on their heels. They're not able to know what we're going to do. We did a little bit at the Patriots game. That's why we got home. We made some big hits. You'll see it. Whenever we start to move around and putting pressure on the quarterback, that game is completely different. But from a defensive guy, you know, it's hard to do that when you're down. You know, when you're down in scoring and you're not really able to open that playbook up and go after the quarterback like you want to because you don't want to take those risks and get, you know, hit for a big one. So you kind of got to play into the game at least even or you're up a score and then you can get after the quarterback a little bit.
Yeah, I just see a lot of that going on out there right now. Sean Merriman on the line with us. He's a weekly contributor here on the Mikey Show. So what now? Do they go directly to London from Buffalo, or do they come back, or what are they doing? They're there now. I think they go straight to London. They're there now already? Yeah. Well, they actually, they land, they left last night, and I believe they land this morning at some point. I've got to look it up, but I think they may be there already. Oh, my goodness. So how long is that flight from New York? Probably about the same amount of time that you would think it would take to get from here to the East Coast, probably somewhere between. It's probably about a five-hour flight, maybe. So what do you think, Sean? Where are those players right now, mentally, physically, being in London this morning? Well, I think they're all just resting up, and they're probably all going to go talk again. reevaluate where the season is going and what we need to do. You know, it's a bunch of things that we need to start on. I mean, you've seen Flash was playing really good this year, and you've seen Flash was not playing so good. And for us, you know, our offense having to go out and put 28, 30-plus points on the board is tough every week. So, you know, as a defense, we've got to step up and play a little better. Tell me this. If you guys were...
If this were a normal week, you would have flown back to San Diego. And didn't you say Mondays? You guys have Mondays off or Tuesdays off? Tuesdays. Tuesdays off. Okay, so today you would have been back in. And if you were here in San Diego, you'd be back in your own training facility looking at film, that kind of stuff. So in London, how are they going to be able to study film and do the things that they're used to doing? Everything is taken with them. All the film. All the playbook stuff, everything, all the notes, everything they need to go over. I mean, every piece of equipment is really basically hauled over there. You think they'll do that at the hotel or will they do that like at the stadium? It'll be down at the hotel. What a trip. Wow. What a trip. So they're going to be doing all that stuff in a hotel conference room or whatever in London, England. They're there all week long. I'm thinking it won't take them that long to acclimate to the time and all that stuff. So they'll probably be able to get into that pretty quickly. The saints have to do the same thing. The only thing I think they may have a problem with is the horrendously bland food. But other than the food not having a lot of salt in it and having any flavor.
They should be all right. Would you like some chips? Yeah, that's right. Would you like more fish and chips? With some travel packs of salt. Exactly, man. Sean, when you saw this game on the schedule, did it make you mad that you had to go to London or were you kind of excited? You know, kind of excited. Everybody's going to be a little drained from the flight times and drained from just flying. I mean, it's tough. But at the same time, whenever you get a chance to branch out into a different audience. to a different fan base and other people who you probably didn't even know ever watched you play in the stadium with the jersey on. So it makes you kind of want to go over there and play a little bit. I hope it's in HD. That's all I care about. It should be. It's their main game. It is? Yeah. And is it a regular? What time? It's 10 a.m. start. But, you know, it's the main crew with Phil Simms and Jim Nance and all those guys. What's going to be so weird is we're going to be watching this game, and it's going to be like a nighttime game there, and it's going to be the morning here. Let's hope the weather holds out, because last year, if you remember when the Giants went over there and played, it was just a mess because it rained. And Wembley Stadium, their field was just tore up, and it was awful. Sean, what have you been doing? How are you feeling? I feel pretty good, man. Just, like I said, rehabbing and working out every single day.
Story of my life. I don't know. Me too, Sean. Just working out every day, bro. Just trying to get in shape. You know what I'm saying? You couldn't catch Rolaids. That is true. Sean, I was over at Sky's house this weekend for her birthday party. I'm sure you can relate to this. Had a little tummy ache when dinner was done. Asked Sky if she could get me some Tums. She tossed them down to me from upstairs. I screamed like a 12-year-old girl. Sean Merriman, I went to block the bottle of Tums and the bottle hit my hands and exploded Tums all over the floor in Sky's living room. I'm sure you can relate, right? I'm sure you've been through this at one time in your life. You know, it was just a moment where I didn't look as athletic as I truly am. Sean, you need to tell Mike that when things are thrown at him, he needs to catch them, not block them. I thought she was trying to kill me. That's right. I do not have cat-like reflexes, I guess is the deal. I do not have that. So, well, listen, I hope it gets better for this team, and I hope they can, maybe, who knows, man, maybe London can be like a turning point for them in their season. I mean, hopefully, and I think that as a fan back watching right now, that you hope that one of these games is a turning point.
and not look at a one-game winning streak. You know, we don't want to look at it like that. We want to look at a five-game winning streak. So, you know, that should be coming in shortly. Hey, Sean, is there one guy on the team you always talk to in general first after the games? Is there one dude that calls you or texts you first or you talk to first or a guy that you usually talk to first? Oh, now? Yeah, yeah. I talk to most of the linebackers. I talk to most of the linebackers after the game. I just send them a text and they'll ask me how I look on TV. You know, they all pretty upset themselves. And, you know, obviously we're a bunch of guys out there with pride and enjoy winning. So we don't ever want to lose. And the first question I get is how did it look? What do you say? What do you type back? Sexy. That's sexy. Yeah, you guys look cute out there. I really just let them know that we didn't look as good out there today. And what I saw on film as far as some of the guys, what they did, some of the things we can get better on. And he was telling me, let's get it next week and fix it. That's about it. Do you text during the game so that they see it when the game's over, or do you wait? Well, I wait. I wait.
I wait, or either SP got his phone in his sock or something like that and just pulls it out at the first quarter and start reading his text messages. So that's cool, man. I think it's really cool that you're helping these guys and telling them what you're seeing and all that. Sean Merriman is our weekly contributor. I appreciate it, Sean. We'll talk to you next week after London. Thanks, man. Hopefully we'll get this win. I hope so, too, man. We'll talk to you then. All right. We'll see you. He's got another band called Spiral Arms and they're still in the Bay Area and they're trying to do their thing and get the whole deal going. Eddie's doing Spiral Arms right there. That's a cool name. Good singer. My favorite thing about Systematic was the chunky guitars, man. They had those big, thick, chunky guitars. It sounded great. Fat.

He was involved in a second altercation with a woman in a Kansas City nightclub. I didn't know. Maybe I forgot that there was a first. I must have forgotten about it. Well, they had announced last week that he was in trouble with an incident that happened back in February in a Kansas City nightclub. Now, this apparently happened recently on the Chiefs' bye week that he was involved in a second altercation with a second woman in a second nightclub. Oh, boy. This is on the heels of him being suspended this Sunday for missing team meetings and violating team rules. He needs to get it together. What's going on with that guy? Do they get specific about this altercation, like verbal, physical? The first one, apparently, Larry, I believe they said that he either threw a drink at her or shoved her or something like that. Something classy. Yeah, very classy. That's what the lady's like. That's his pickup line. That's right.
5701053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. If you are just tuning in, Skye mentioned she's been up since 1 in the morning. What? She woke up at 1 in the morning, and her husband was not laying next to her. She immediately assumed he was hanging out with the girl down the street. The tart. The tart from down the street. The little tart. Skye was very nervous, but then... The sweet little tart. But then her husband walked into the room. He got in bed, instantly fell asleep, started snoring, and Skye just completely consumed with her thoughts, could not fall back to sleep, and has been awake ever since. Yeah, it's really awesome. And the text messages are pouring in. Yes. Get her. Don't get her. What is that? Hey, I admit I'm a crazy. What do you want? I'm a crazy. I'm a crazy. This one says, Skye, don't you realize 1 a.m. is... Prime time gopher hunting. It's prime time gopher hunting. That's P1TK. Yeah. This one's going back to Eddie lodging a complaint with the local CBS affiliate. Talk about it. Says, thank you, Eddie. I complained to CBS, too. Thought I was crazy. Rock on, though. P1 Pretz. He did it, too, Eddie. I'm sure a lot of people did. I mean, that's just garbage. That's right. This one says, hey, Mike.
I saw B-Rob at the Humane Society yesterday and was wondering if he got a dog that's P1 Ginger. B-Rob, what is that? I went with my fiancée and her mom. They were looking to get a kitten. Did they get one? Nothing yesterday. It's still kind of up in the air. Oh, because she was so excited Saturday night. She's like, I'm going to get a kitten tomorrow. Yeah, but they're still looking. They didn't see one they liked? Oh, they did, but I don't know why they didn't just adopt it. I think there's something with, because they're all indoor kittens, and their cat right now is outdoor. So they're kind of still debating on it. But I just spent the whole time over by all the dogs. So much fun. This next text message says, Hey, Mikey, tell Rob not to jinx my team, bro. That's P1 Philly's finest. Wow. Rob, don't jinx their team. This one says, Mikey, B-Rob. B-Rob needs a man up. Oh, dude, yeah. Yeah, dude. Is that a loss? I've always been a Rays fan since the beginning. Oh, here we go. Now that we've embarrassed the Sox, he should take it like a man and burn that unlucky jersey once and for all. Geez. Been a fan since the beginning. Where you been hiding all season, pal? That's right. Safe to come out now? Okay. Rays all the way, baby.
That's P1 Big. This one says, Mikey, did anyone see the Brandon Vera fight over the weekend? I'm not ready. What the heck happened? I'm not ready. It seems like Vera never figured out he was fighting. That's P1 Fight Fan. Come on. What happened? He fought Keith Jardine. The King of Mean? The King of Mean. It looks like a troll who lives under a bridge. He really does. He comes out to suck blood at night and fight. That kind of thing? Yes, very much so. He's a creepy looking guy. So they fought. It was a competitive fight. I think Brandon looked better than he has in his past two fights. But he never really got going. He never really opened up. And it turned out to be a split decision victory for Jardine. So it could have gone either way. It was unfortunate. It's a bummer. Now what for Brandon? Now what? He's probably going to get bumped down to some of those mid-card fights.
Maybe even fights that aren't televised. He's going to have to win to get back on top. That's the way it goes. He hasn't looked good since that whole contract dispute. He came back, fought Tim Sylvia, lost. Then he fought Fabrizio Verdum, lost. Then he dropped down to 205. Won his fight, but looked very lethargic and unimpressive. And then this last fight... Oh, no. I mean, you can't do that in the UFC. They'll drop you. Ashley's a big fan. You watch it, Ash? Uh-huh. What did you think? Same thing as Eddie. I just was waiting for him, like that Brandon Vera that I know and love to just come out and just wallop, you know, like do one of his leg kicks upside Jardine's head. He never did. It just never quite happened. It was a good fight. He's been tentative since he's come back. You know, very tentative. He doesn't go out there and just... Throw. Get after it. Do you guys think that it's a training thing? Like this trainer needs to be telling him you need to do this a little more. I told him, Mike. I pulled him aside. I was there. It's the truth. I did. I said, no matter what, Brandon, your next fight, let your hands go. Don't be tentative. And he's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree. And he didn't do it. He didn't do it. I need to be in this corner, I think. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. I'm going to ask to be in this corner in the next fight. I'm not sure. Oh, gosh.
Ask him. I'll put that Vaseline on his forehead. You will? I don't have to do it. Do you put it on like a popsicle stick? No, no, no. I'm going to put a glove on. Yeah, yeah. And I'll put a dollop of Vaseline. Vaseline. A galoop. On your glove. And you get it? And you wipe it. And you stick it on there. And you go, hey. Oh, he's good. Oh, you know what you're doing. Oh, wow. And then what do you say to him? What do you say? I'm going to slap him in the face. Slap his face. Let's go. Let's do this. Let's do it. I'm hard, so I don't worry. But just to fire him up. I bet you he'd win if Eddie did that. That's interesting. P1 Derek is on the line, and he's about to explain to us what a P1 is. What's a P1, Derek? P1, somebody that goes straight to the point, turns the radio down, doesn't cuss, and listens exclusively to the Mikey Show. You're a good person. You're a good person. Rock him. What's up, dude? What are you calling to say? Well, you know, I was watching the Charger game, and I was just wondering if anybody else noticed the second time the power went out. The screen was frozen on a guy holding the guitar. On the back of the guitar, it said, pull the plug on the charger. Really? I didn't know if it was some coincidence or some deeper conspiracy. I wonder if that same guy owned an Elmo Mylar balloon earlier in the morning. What some thought was just a guitar with a simple phrase written on the back actually turned out to be something much more sinister. Taking a closer look.
You see, the gentleman holding the guitar seemed like a normal Buffalo Bill fan. Until people noticed that he actually had scales. Oh, that's so freaky. I didn't notice that. Not only did he have scales over his eyes, but his two-year-old son, who most people thought was just a regular two-year-old and liked Elmo, was actually out in the parking lot before coming into the stadium, which would seem like a normal thing to do with your two-year-old son, except that this two-year-old son could fly. Oh, my God. And actually flew that Elmo Mylar balloon right into a power grid. I was turning off the power. How could this happen, you say? That's what I was just saying. How could this happen? How could this happen? We'll find out when we come back. I like it, dude. You've uncovered a mystery and I like it.
No, it was just a coincidence. You know, I wanted to know if anybody saw the same thing I saw. I did not see it, dude. I saw it. Eddie saw it. Yeah. Eddie saw it. I don't know if he had to even do it, but I saw it. Yeah. What do you think, Derek? Do you think that maybe there was a conspiracy going on? No, I think the team was a little bit focused on London, but... Yeah. A lot of people said that. Son of a gun. Oh, dang it. Well... Ashley says throw another shrimp on the barbie and get ready for London. What do you do when you're there, Ashley? Have a little fun. Let's put another shrimp on the barbie. There we go. We're going to London, everybody. I'm ready. Paul Hogan. Get some Vegemite. Good day, mate. We're going to London. P1 on Casa. 1904? That's too much. Well said. What is that? Hey, Mike. What's up? Hey, I had a quick question. Maybe I can get some advice from you or Sky. I just got evicted from my house. Uh-oh. Our landlord, he gave us an eviction notice this past 14th, and he invaded it that he gave to me on the 1st. And then also, I work these crazy hours, so I'm never home. I come home one day.
and all our stuff is taken out and thrown in the garage, and there's people painting and taking door cabinets off and this and that. And I call the guy, and he doesn't want to pick up the phone. He just doesn't care. So I call the cops. The cops come over. They're like, it's a civil issue. But while all this time is happening, this guy is sending his people to come over, turn off our power. That's yesterday morning. I mean, not yesterday morning. Yesterday night, I come home from watching the games at my brother's house. And my car is towed. Oh, my gosh. How did he... Is your car parked in a place that you're not allowed to park, or did it... It's parked in my driveway. At the landlord's place. That they evicted you from. Well, yeah, but I'm still living there. Right, right, right, right. Why is he wanting to evict you? Well, supposedly he got to buy her for the house, and the...
The people that are buying the house are already there taking our stuff out. Yeah. Well, I mean, do you have a lease? You mean moving their stuff in, you mean? No, moving their stuff, taking our stuff out. Painting him. Got it, got it. So he's renting a house. He's renting a house. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, and the owner of the place is saying, hey, you got to get out. I sold this place and the new people are coming. Here's a catch. Here's a catch. This is why I'm scared. Yeah. I walked into this house with a friend of mine. And, I mean, the house was already trashed. You know what I mean? There's four batches in the house. They didn't, you know, the homeowner didn't want to leave. So I was like, cool, we had to just walk in. I could just pay you cash every month. And he was like, he doesn't even know my first name. He gave me the eviction for my first name and just my first and last name. He doesn't even know who I am. Okay, wait, wait, wait. I was very confused. A little bit of sorting out to do, but when you moved in,
There was already somebody living there? So basically, your situation was happening when you moved in? No, no. What happened is a whole bunch of people moved out of the house, and he needed bodies to fill up the rooms because he had to make the mortgage on the house. So he just let everyone in, whoever wanted to go come in the house, without signing leases. And whenever he wanted his money, he would never come get it from us. He would send one of his goons to come get his money. I was never late with my... rent or anything. But when people were that lived there, he would send people over to get it. Yeah. Yeah. Well, here's my instant thoughts, and I want to hear what other people on the show think too, but my instant thoughts are, my instant thoughts are, it sounds like you were in a very unconventional situation from the very beginning. You were in a very unconventional situation. You weren't signing a lease. The guy doesn't know your name. You're getting in there kind of willy-nilly. There's nothing very professional about it, it sounds like. And so it sounds like he's quacking like a duck. He's behaving unprofessionally. When you got in there, it was unprofessional circumstances. I mean, you know what I mean? Yeah, is there any way I could take Ashley's dog and teach him how to, like, get this guy or something? Take Ashley's dog to, like, look at him and turn him into a pillar of salt?
Good idea. That is, yeah, I mean, that is definitely an option, and it would work. But I think it's drastic. I think it's drastic. I'll just have lifetime diarrhea. Yes. Yes. Eddie, Sky, what do you guys think? Yeah, I mean, as far as I know, as far as like renter law and all that stuff is that if you do not have a lease, he still has to give you 30 days notice to get your stuff out. But he has the right to evict you. If he gave you notice, if he gave you 30 days notice that he was, you know, sold the place and wants you out, you have to get out, bro. Yeah, I have no problem with that. I mean, if he gives me 30 days, then I'm leaving in 30 days. The weird thing is he gave it to you on the 14th, and he post-dated it like he did it on the first. Yeah, that's shady. That's illegal. Yeah, what you need to do, like Eddie said, be prepared. Start moving forward. Move on with your life, but document everything. Take pictures of everything. Find one of those lawyers that only get paid if you get paid, and then give them all the evidence you have and talk to them. Pro bono. Yeah, dude, pro bono. Go pro bono, okay? Get a little pro bono. Because even though you don't have a lease, the fact that he wrote...
you an eviction notice is proof that you had some sort of agreement with this guy. So definitely keep everything documented. Save the tow car thing. Exactly. All of that. Bring that all to a lawyer who doesn't get paid until you get paid. Pro bono. We told you twice. Thank you, bro. P1 Raider is on the line. What's going on, Mikey? What's up, P1 Raider? Hey, listen, first of all, sorry about that P1, dude. He got taken, man. He should have signed a contract. Yeah. Anyways, dude, Cheeto, look, man, you probably have a house. You do have a house. Cheeto. By the way, FYI, Cheeto now. I believe he is referring to Chetty. I believe he is referring to the Chetty. Sir Cheddar. Sir Cheddar. Sir Cheddar. Sir Cheddar. How did you guys know that? I believe he's referring to Chetty. Who else would be Cheeto? Well, who else would be Cheeto? I don't know. He claims to be loyal to Farb, but he's complaining because he didn't get to see that Eastern Island forehead guy. Eastern Island. I believe you mean Easter Island Forehead. Easter Island Forehead, not Eastern Island Forehead. This whole time he thought it was Eastern Island. Who is he referring to? I don't know. Who is Easter Island? Have you guys ever seen Night at the Museum? No. You know the guy who likes to chew the bubble gum? The big statue guy with the big forehead?
Eastern? I was asking what player he was referring to. Yes. Manning. Oh, Manning. You don't even know. I thought he was talking about Brett Favre the whole time. And then he told me that he's over there complaining like a baby. Oh, I didn't get to see Manning. Yeah, dude. Beto, take care of this guy. Get him, Beto. Hey, P1 Raider. What's going on? Yeah, dude. You think you're a tub-thumping Mexican and everything, dude, but why don't you? That's so hard when you're tough. You get knocked down and you get up again. You get knocked down and you get up again. Beto, please. Hey, Raider. It's not even Eastern Island. Oh, gosh. What is it, Beto? It's D-Eastern Island, dude. No, it's not. Well said. It's Easter, dude. You're not helping us, Beto. That's when you have half. Hey! Come and tell me to my face, dude. No, Beto, stop it. We don't encourage that kind of behavior. And then you'll go crying to your mom. This guy will kill you. Stop it. Beto got me knocked up, dude. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do.
Better be careful. He might drive down here in his car. Yeah, dude. You won thanks to a crazy Polish dude with a good leg. Huh? Oh, look. Oh, look. Sebastian Janikowski kicked his first over 40-yard field. I'm not saying anything, guys. Why are you yelling at me? Oh, my goodness. You all deserved it. Oh, look. The Raiders won a game. Back to commitment to excellence. I can't believe it. Okay. Wow, dude. You're going through the Super Bowl. Oh, my gosh. Silver and Black is streaming all over town. I can't believe it. Back to the glory days. Wow. Let's build a shrine to our babies. Congratulations! You're 2-90! What do you think about that, sir? That's my nephew, Beto. He gets really... We spoil him, and so he speaks when you should listen. You know what I mean? I'm sure everyone is in agreement with you, sir. I apologize for not wanting to see a crappy game. That's right.
complaining. You're right. I'm an idiot that I wanted to see the best game of the week. Yeah. Yeah. I'm a jerk. I'm a jerk. Yes, you are. I agree with you. I agree with you. He is agreeing with you, sir. I hate myself. He's agreeing with you. Man is agreeing with you. Dang me. My goodness. Dang me. At Sky's house on Saturday night, Ashley ate one bratwurst, one hot dog, half a blue cheese hamburger, three lemon cookies, two Oreos. That is a bold face. She had so many more than two. One piece of cake and a bunch of mini corn dogs and a diet Coke. A diet Coke. A diet Coke. A diet Coke. And a cherries jubilee, but that was it. That's right. But that was all. That was it. That was it. I had one regular Oreo and one peanut butter Oreo, and that was it. And I thought I could have sworn I saw somebody throw it outside. That's right. I swear. I just had to get one every day. Why do you lie? I want Grissom to check it out. There was only half left. There's only half left. Where does she fit it all? Where does she fit that food? In the toilet.
She had a food baby, man, when it was all done. No joke. Mommy had a food baby. Stop it. That's inappropriate. It's a good thing she'd gone on a land-a-thon earlier in the day because if she had not done that, if she'd not worked a land-a-thon. That's why I left myself. Land-a-thon? You guys don't know what a land-a-thon is? No. It's like a triathlon, but not. Well, yeah, it's exactly like a triathlon. The only difference is that you walk for 20 minutes, you run for 20 minutes, and you bike for 40 minutes. She calls it a land-a-thon. And what it does is it prepares you to eat one bratwurst, one hot dog, a half a blue cheese hamburger, three lemon cookies, two Oreos, a piece of cake, a bunch of mini corn dogs, and a diet Coke. A diet. A diet. A diet Coke. She had a diet. It was a diet Coke. I don't drink soda. That's right. You drink a soda. Well, I don't drink regular soda. Well, it's fattening, Eddie. It's a lot of carbs. It's fatty. How many carbs in my calories? No way. A lot of carbs. Yeah. She's watching her figure. You can't eat all that. I'm big time watching my figure. Big time. Big time. Big time. Big time. Yeah, big time. Let's see. Oh, man. Did you eat chips? I had some Doritos. I forgot to put that in. And I think it was actually two hot dogs, but who's got it? No.
No, I think it was. Well, because you ate one right before you walked out the door. You remember that, right? What's that? That was the one possible one. With more corn dogs. Mini corn dogs. Well, she re-heathed them back up when Rob came, so I decided I'd have a few more because there was some extra. That's right. I don't like to waste food. That's clear. Well, wait a minute. You weren't necessarily wasting it. I mean, she had to make more. That's really what went on there. Mikey's show. Hello. Hello. This is P1 Ben. I wanted to see who won the over-under on what time B-Rob would show up. Oh. Well, Eddie guessed wrong. Eddie had faith in his boy. But it didn't happen. He didn't find out what happened. It was the over. He made... Rob... He got there at 801. Yeah. And I said the over-under was 745, and I took the under. So, Rob, why...
8-0-1, what happened after your appearance ended at 7? Did you think he was going to rush there and watch the game? Well, you thought that. Well, I didn't leave the bar exactly at 7 o'clock, and that's kind of what threw me off. What happened? Well, I have to wait, of course, for a commercial break. I can't walk out in the middle of the game. And then where we were set up, I had to help Nick break the whole thing down. Who's Nick? From promotions. There you go. Get everything down. So by the time we were done with all that, and I made... Oh, and then the other thing was is I went one block down, leaving the bar to my car, and I hear everyone cheering. So before I started driving, I had to make a phone call and call to find out what happened in the game. Then I'll have a radio? Who? Where? What? Rob's car? Doesn't have a radio? No, the 800. No, I'm building one right now with a professor. It's a coconut. Oh, really? Yeah, coconut with a couple of 9-volt batteries. Oh, wow. No, that 800 AM, it was coming in. I was getting, like, mostly Mexican music the whole way. That's just as good. Yeah, right? No, he's totally into that. Close. A close second. That's what it was like. It's the worst. That's brutal. That is brutal.
Hey, you know what I want to do? First of all, we still got to do the Dumb Chick Challenge. No. We do. We have to do the Dumb Chick Challenge, the DCC. But when we come back, I want to find out an update about the people with what they were nervous about going into the weekend. We had one guy. This is the one I really want to find out about. That guy that was going on a date with a girl from Craigslist. Oh, yeah. Never seen her before. Never seen her. Oh, I can't wait to find out what happened. We'll find out next. The show is on. I just want to say I love this show. I listen to you guys every single day. It's AT&T and the funky outer space space. It's Bootsy Collins with... Device advice, baby. Talk to Bootsy. Hi, Bootsy. Did you know that if you slowed down just a little, you'd get better mileage? It's true. If you drove 55 miles per hour on the highway instead of 65 miles per hour, you could go about 30 to 60 more miles on a tank of gas. It's like the story of the tortoise and the hare. You know, slow and steady wins the race. And that also applies to city driving. When you're stopped at a traffic light and it turns green, avoid the jackrabbit start. Don't punch the gas. It's not a race. Just accelerate smoothly and gradually. And let's face it.
You'll catch up to those other cars at the next light anyway. So remember, a heavy foot equals a light gas tank. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Mark Wahlberg's latest movie, Max Payne, was the number one movie this weekend, making $18 million. Got big trouble in Big D. The Cowboys lose the Rams 34-14. Jerry Jones says that Wade Phillips' job is not in jeopardy, which is using the kiss of death. Here's T.O. talking about what happened in the game. We're professionals. A lot of us guys have played this game for some years. You know, you put those distractions behind you, if there were any, and you go out and you play ball. And I think we just didn't play. And the Rams came out and kicked our butts. Now, this is the time that it gets tricky with the T.O. types, they say. Big time. Big time. Big time. Big time, all right? When they start to lose is when the locker room starts to get a little sideways. Just like Randy Moss. That's right. He's going to start quitting any minute now. And, you know, with T.O., he's not getting the ball. They're losing. That means that he's going to start causing problems. Yeah, the Cowboys are going to unravel here real bad. Yeah. So on Friday, we were asking people, what do you got going on this weekend that you're nervous about? We were not able to get a hold of a couple people that we talked to. The guy I really wanted to talk to was the Craigslist guy. The dude that said that he, this weekend, was going to be...
seeing some girl that he met on Craigslist and he didn't know what she looked like. They were going out to dinner, I think. Yeah, and he was thinking about bringing her to a Weezer show. Yeah, the Weezer show Friday night. That's right. And he had never met her before. At the romance beginning. That's right. Hey, dude, if you're listening or if you know who we're talking about, you know this guy, call him and tell him to call us because we've tried him and we've just got voicemail. Hopefully she didn't kidnap him or something. But we also talked to a guy that said this weekend his relatives were coming in from Italy. 17 brothers and their parents were coming in from Italy. That's crazy! That's like 25 people! And they were going to meet his wife, right? For the first time. P1 Angel, you there? Yeah, what's up, brother? Okay, so how did it go? All in all, one out of ten, it was about an eight and a half. Not bad. Yeah, it could be worse. It could be way worse. That sounds pretty good, actually. Yeah, they met my wife. We met them down at the airport, and they're all very nice people, you know, and they speaking was pretty well. And so she's doing the introductions around.
And then in Italian, my aunt says to me, you know, she's awfully thin and kind of pale. Oh, wow. Sounds like an Italian. Well, see, I taught my wife Italian. Oh, no, no. Oh, jeez. No. And so she says, yeah, I've always been skinny, and I'm white. Oh, wow. And what did your aunt? Like a fettuccine alfredo. Yeah, I just like that, okay? Come on. Put a little meat on the bone. So what did your aunt say when she said that? Well, she answered her back in Italian. First, she said, I'm sorry. I didn't mean this to be rude, but we're chubby people in Italy, and you're not chubby. Is your wife thin? Yeah, she's like 105. Oh, wow. She could drop a couple. She says, yeah, I just...
I give all the fattening food to Chub Rock here. Point to me. Right. Good answer. Yeah, your wife's about 30 pounds heavier than Rob. Oh, that is true. Wow. Definitely thin, you know, definitely thin. Yeah, it's sad because I outweigh her by 100 pounds. Wow. There you go. Wow. Domination. That's right. Rock them. Okay. So all the guys, they're all like between 18 and 36. Mm-hmm. So on Saturday night, they decided to improve the economy of local San Diego strippers. They come to America and hit the strip clubs. Welcome to America. That's right. And I'm like, you know, you want to go to a nice one? They're like, no, a skeezy one, because the girls are loose. Oh, good. Healthy, healthy. Take us to the skankiest strippers, you know. Yeah, we ended up at the body shop over there. I'm sure they're very pleased to have a shout out this morning. Luckily, none of them are listening. A little too early in the morning. They went to bed about an hour ago. That's right. Well, there you go. Congratulations. There you go, dude. It's P1 Angel. I still want to talk to that dude now. Find out how that Craigslist date went. Mr. Blackwell.
Passed away yesterday. What? No more list? Is he the guy that does the list? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The best are the best dressed, right? Worse. Or the worst dressed. Yeah. He always, you know, has a real, you know, he always puts a little spin on what everybody is. And he just did Tutti Frutti hand. Yeah. So he died yesterday in Los Angeles of complications from an intestinal infection. He was 86. I had one of those Saturday night, I think. He was 86 years old. Somebody should throw thumbs at him. That's right. Madonna's rep is denying reports of a $60 million divorce settlement. Yeah, it's really weird. Like, you know, all the entertainment gossip sites are reporting that this was the settlement. And so it was getting so out of hand that Madonna's rep issued a statement last night. But what was being reported? Money, money, money. Money, money, money. Show me the money. Oh, my God. Money. Show me the money. Oh, wow.
I love money. Have some money, please. Give me money. I divorce you, Madonna. I'm a 60 million. Money. A me, Barbershop Quartet. Money. Money. Hey, guys. I love money. We got it, Sky. We understand. So what was being reported was that Guy Ritchie was getting $60 million, their 1,200-acre estate in British countryside, as well as a pub in London they had bought together. But Madonna's rep says no. The divorce settlement has still not been finalized. Well, you've got to figure, you know, like, of course she's got billions of dollars, but I wouldn't think Guy Ritchie would be like... Mr. I gotta have money. He seems like he's got money. He's a direct movie director. Money, money, money. You can never have enough. You can never have enough. He's a famous movie director. What does that guy need to, you know, be getting money from Madonna? I don't understand. Money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money. And you may ask yourself, why did that settlement not go through? You may find yourself doing your beautiful wife.

Lexuscarlsbad.com Lexuscarlsbad, I-5, Palomar Port Road, Car Country, Carlsbad. Well, here it's winding down in some areas, but still got to find a few tough spots out here. The South 15 had several accidents along that stretch this morning through Escondido. They even cleared, but still pretty tough in the 78, down the Via Rancho Parkway. And then you've got the usual stuff from Carmelon Ranch, slowed down in towards Palway. The westbound 56 still backing up from Rancho Santa Fe Farms, just trying to get to the 5 connector. Heading south on the 5 down the North County shoreline, very heavy from La Costa all the way to Solana Beach still. Looking good, though, out of the east county. The westbound 52 fine up the hill out of Santee. The west 8 ride is not too bad, just a brief delay from the 805 and past the Q. 94 King Freeway still finding some brake lights here from 28th Street in the downtown. And both the 5 and 805 northbound out of the South Bay are looking pretty nice right now up into the city.
The 805 has just a minor slowdown once again out of Kearney Mesa over that 52. I'm McLaurin, and walk around a 5-3. Enjoy listening to jazz music. And Ashley. I'm extremely prone to self-inflicting injury. Mikey shows on. Gosh, get to it already. Rock 105.3. I think I like your version better. Thank you. Welcome back. It's 814. 34-10 and improved a 6-0 on the season. Welcome back. It's a Mikey show. Let's see. Before we went to break, I was telling you about how in Iran they were trying to break a world record. Is that the deal, Scott? They were trying to break a world record? Yeah, for the world's largest sandwich. What? The world's longest sandwich. That's what they're doing in Iran? They don't have weapons. Nuclear power and world's largest sandwich. These are their goals. We just proved they don't have weapons, dude. If they're doing that, they're cool. We're good. Bunch of hippies. Cross them off our list. So, I didn't even know that that was like a... Yeah, they said it took 1,500 cooks... Two days, they used 2,000 pounds of ostrich meat. I'm about to vomit. Wait a second. To make the 5,000 foot long sandwich, which they were in the process. 5,000 foot long. Oh, that's so weird. What are you singing? 5,000 foot long. My husband sings this stupid commercial all the time. Is it a Subway commercial or something? You've never seen that?
$5 foot long. I haven't. I've never heard it. It's already bothered me. Or does it get stuck in your head and you love it? You don't even realize it's in your head later in the day. You're like, $5 foot long. So as the people from Guinness were in the process of measuring the sandwich, people on the other end of the sandwich started eating it. It's hysterical. Shut up. Well, you know why? It's because they're ravenous for ostrich in Iran. It's really good. It's so delicious. It's really good. A little avocado spread on there. Yes. A little ostrich and ov. Yeah. Chipotle mayo. It's delicious, right? So the three judges from the Guinness Book who came out to witness this were not able to give them the title or confirm the record. So they're going to submit video that they took of the sandwich before people started eating it and hope that maybe... It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. It's like that Togo's party sub, dude, when that thing arrives, man. Exactly. Good night. It's a good sandwich. Game on. That Togo stuff is good.
My taste buds have changed because I now like that swirly brown and white bread. Is that rye? Marble rye. Marble rye? Never used to eat rye bread. It used to taste like licorice to me. No way. I'm in now. Makes me want to vomit. I used to hate it, man. Eddie, how long has it been since you tried it? Probably 20 years. I wonder if it changed. It had to because it did for me, but some people, you know, you hate something. You always hate it. Like I'm making myself like tomatoes. Our phone number is 570-1053 and our text is 35253. Eddie, are the BCA rankings out yet? The BCS rankings are out. Oh, the BC rankings are out. I'm number one. What is that? BCS, the Bowl Championship Series, where they rank the teams to determine what bowl games they play in and all that stuff. College football, Sky. Top five teams are, number one, Texas. Sky's alma mater, the UC San Marcos Cougars on there. With their intramural sports team. Are they on there? Didn't make it this time. Texas, number one. Alabama, Penn State, Oklahoma, and USC round out the top five. There it is.
New study finds the time that most people are most and least creative. Doesn't it depend on the person? I mean, I think you're right. But this is just, you know, if we're generalizing, if we're going with the majority of people. Then I'll go with what I do. So what would you say? The time you're the most creative? For me, it's a morning. Okay. You're not right. No. For me, it's a morning. She took such pleasure in that. For me, it's like between 2 and 5 p.m. You're not right either. Okay, great. For me, it's like late at night. Like what time? For me, it's when I sleep. Like between 10 and 12. You would be right. Come on. 10.04 p.m. is the time that most people say that they're creative. That's when I'm asleep. That's when I wrote my bits on a dot. That's when Rob wrote Palin. 10.04, get me a pen. That's right. Okay, the least creative time of day. 8.18 a.m. 3 in the morning. No. The most least creative? Well, I'm going to say morning then. No. 10.05 p.m. She took pleasure again. Noon. No, but you're... Midnight. No, noon 30. Midnight. No. 1 p.m. Afternoon. 11 a.m. No. 10 a.m. No. 3 p.m. 4. 3.
3.20. 3.20. 4.20. 4.20. 3.07. 4.20. What about 4.20? 4.20 is in the range. 4.33 p.m. That's what I said. 4.33 p.m. is the least creative time of the day. 92% of people say they feel uninspired in the afternoons. They say the most popular way of getting the creative juices flowing when you hit a rut is to take a shower. Happy slap. No happy slapping. They say take a shower. Kiss fight. Yes, definitely kiss fight. Yo, really? You want to kiss about it then? Get up. 58% of people say they... Come here and kiss it to my face, dude. Why don't you come kiss it right here to my face? Do you want to get creative or something? Okay. Strange. 58% of people say they forget their best ideas because they don't write them down immediately. Or they have ADD. And then a third of the people polled say they choose to write notes on the back of their hands. Oh, that's my idea. That's what Rob does. Never heard of that. There you go. Sounds stupid, though. Well, it's ridiculous, Sean. Let me tell you. Let me tell you why it's ridiculous what Rob does. Because he's got like a smear of old notes that are like lingering there. These are covered with human oil and sweat, Mike. It's true.
It is true. Oh, he's like a transient. Thank you. How observant are we? Rob, can you hum the theme to Fox football on Sunday? Very well done. Very well done. Can you hum, Eddie, can you hum the theme to Monday Night Football? That was awesome. That was awesome. That was fantastic. That was Jack Black caliber. That's right. Thank you very much. Can anybody think of ESPN's, you know, what they do tonight?
What they're going to be doing tonight. Like their Monday night NFL countdown. Is that what it's called? Monday NFL countdown? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The ESPN stuff. No. It is. La, la, la, la, la. There it is. Thank you. It is. Wait a minute. It was in my head, and then it fleeted. It fleeted. Yeah, Sean did it. Or is it? Is that it? Maybe that is it. I think that is it. I'm pretty sure. Theirs is... Oh, yeah. And he really likes this game. Hey, guys. Let's relax. Sunday. NFL counter. Okay. All right. Let's see. What else do we know? Hey, we got Carrie on the line. And that's the chick. Carrie, are you there? Yes.
Carrie's a girl that went on a date with a dude from Craigslist and they went to the Weezer show. Maybe. Maybe, she said. Maybe. It's like a weird thing. Let her explain it to you. Okay, go ahead. Go ahead, Carrie. I went to a Weezer concert on Friday with a guy I met on Craigslist. And when I heard you guys talking about that this morning, I immediately called him. He thoroughly denies it and says he wasn't the one. He said he listens to you guys, but he didn't call you about it. It was definitely him. Do you think so? What's his name? Michael. He didn't say his name, did he? Did he say his name? He said his name was Moe. Oh, I bet he changed it from Michael to Moe. Please. It's the same guy. Why do you lie, liar? I don't know if that's his nickname or not. Yeah, it's kind of a weird coincidence if not. Well, I mean, how many guys meet a girl on Craigslist and go to dinner on Friday night and then go to the Weezer show? Please. We didn't go to dinner. His car broke down, actually, so we didn't go to dinner. Really? But you were supposed to go to dinner, right? Yeah.
What was that tone? We got some irony up in here. Now, wait a second. Now, where was the Weezer show? In the Coors Arena? The Coors Amphitheater. Yeah. Cricket. Yeah, Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. Well said. Cricket Wireless Coors Theater. The one at UCSD. Oh, that's not it at all. That's the reason. Close enough. Whatever UCSD is, I don't know. Right, right, right, right. It's okay. It's way off. Carrie, how old are you? 25. And he is? 31. He's 31. And did he look like his photo? He looked better. He looked better. Oh, nice. What did the photo look like? It was pretty blurry. It was like a camera phone picture that his roommate took for him, so it was not good. And what we were wondering was, how did you compare to your photo? Do you think that you look like your photo? You said you were cute. I'm not photogenic, so I think I look better than my pictures. I'm not conceited at all, but I know I look better in person. Hair color, please. Hair color. Carrie, hair color. I feel you, girl. How tall are you? 5'5".
You're 5'5", brown hair. What color eyes? Blue. All right. I won't ask your weight because girls get all tripped out when you ask about weight. Thank you. Probably heavy. I'm in safe. I just spent eight years in the Marine Corps, so I'm still rocking it. There you go. Right on. And you can out bench him. You can out lift him and you can pick him up and sling him over your shoulder and put him in a baby Bjorn and take him to a Weezer show. I could do that. So you have brown hair and blue eyes. That's pretty cool. That's a good combo. And did he seem to be pleased with you? Yes. And so you had to meet him at the Weezer show? He actually picked me up. I thought, yeah, his car was broken. Yeah, we didn't get to dinner because his car broke down, but he picked me up, so he picked my car. See, now, this is my editorial. Okay. So, you know, to each their own. Nice. I don't know that I would choose a concert because you can't really talk. Right. Not at all. It's loud and everything, and you can't really talk. But some people really enjoy that. And maybe some people both would be comfortable in that environment where there's not as much pressure. Maybe it takes the pressure off. It takes the pressure off. Sometimes you just want to look at a person, but you don't want to hear them. Wow. That is really... Like if you have a mascot head on. That's right. What if you had a mascot head on, and you couldn't... What if you had that? Actually, that doesn't make any sense, to be quite honest.
She's still talking. Wait, it's Sean. I'm sorry. So you guys enjoyed the concert. And then afterwards, what? Kiss goodnight. That was about it. Hello. He drove you home. He drove you home. He got a kiss goodnight. And are you guys going to see each other again? Yes. Did you already see each other again? Yes. You did. Wow. When did you go out again? Yesterday. Oh, that's cool. What'd you do? What did you do? We went to lunch. You went to lunch. Do you love him? Yeah. Do you like like or do you like like? Yeah. I like like him. He's a really nice guy. Oh, wow. The car thing didn't turn you off? He's got a 1970 classic Nova that he's been renovating for like the last couple months. And I really love classic cars. And I know how they break down because my first car was a 71 old. Zeth. I know how that goes. Sure. New car that he doesn't maintain or some kind of trailer park. Gotcha. Seth, go ahead. After we're done with her here, put her on hold because I have the guy's number. We'll find out if it was him or not. Okay. Oh, nice. Oh. Hey, you have his number, right, Carrie? Yeah. Okay, I'm going to put you on hold and we'll find out right now. Nice. Yeah, yeah. Hang on a second. What if you lied to her? I know. I was just thinking that.
That's a bad move. Yeah, that would have been a bad move. There's no reason to. He doesn't have to. The thing is, it's the whole thing about when you're going out with someone for the first time, it's the whole squirrel thing where you're trying to coax them over, but if you make some big movements, it's going to scare them. He's afraid that he's going to scare that little squirrel off. Aren't you starting it? Wait a second. Just give us one minute to make this right. Bunny rabbits. But, Shawnee, question. What's up? But aren't you also starting the relationship off with lies? I understand that. However, you don't want, you really, it's those few first moments. Yeah. The few first moments. I'm done. I'm traveling with you. Wow. These people in the peace. Wow. I don't know. Oh, my God. I mean, Sean never teases anyone. And how dare him. Sean would never tease anyone on this show. Sean, don't plan all I'm trying to say. Thank you. Finally, Sky understands. Sky.
You know that he is sensitive. You know that. Well, there's no reason. I've just tried. The first time I tried to jump in all day. That's right. That's right. All day long. Give him a break. Give him a break. I hope I didn't just hear that. You did. But I think I heard it. That's the problem. What time is it? 8.30 a.m. Sean over the line. Call Sean later. Thank you. So we got her. We found out. She's back on the line. Carrie, are you there? I hate Skye. Oh, my God. Carrie, are you there? It is not the same guy? Nope. Wow. Different number. Two different guys. That's weird. So he didn't lie there. There you go. Or maybe he has two phones. Maybe he has two phones. Would a squirrel have two phones? No, you're right. Please. I don't think he's a two-phone guy. I can pretty much tell the type. There's two-phone guys? Oh, yeah. Absolutely.
What is the percentage of two-phone guys in the world? 100%. 100% of men have two phones. 90% of the time. Yes. 90% of the time, 100% of them have two phones. Wow. Okay, I want a real number from you guys because this is very interesting to me. Let's say in San Diego County of all single men, how many of them have two cell phones? I'm going to say half a percentage. I think it's the involved men. It's the involved ones. Oh, that's easy. Boyfriends or girlfriends and wives. Oh, yeah. Jerks. Disgusting. Squirrels. Pigs and squirrels. Why do I talk? Why does he talk? Why does he talk? You people are like wild hyenas. Don't say that. I'll turn my mic. That's an overreaction. I feel like it's getting gone. I feel like it's getting gone. Thank you, Carrie. Thank you. 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. When we come back, we're going to do something called the Dumb Chick Challenge. That is the DCC. Yes, we are. Also, when we come back, is Will Ferrell going to Broadway?
Oh, is Will? Is he? I don't know. Maybe he is. Maybe he is. We'll find out when we come back. Don't go away. The Mikey Show at rock1053.com. I'm a strange guy. I'm a strange person. Eddie, we don't care. We love it. Boys have been rules. Sky. If I ever have a work-related nightmare, I am always a waste. Sean. Three times a day. Boston Rob. It takes a lot of thought. This poor man. No, just. On a route 5-3. Eddie, or, uh, what do you plan there? Uh. It is the air violin, but I play it like a guitar. I like it. It's weird. He just takes the violin and plays it like an actual guitar. Yeah, nice. It's a stand-up violin. It's nice. I always thought this guy was kidding when he sang. Welcome back. It is 838. Sarah Palin brought the highest ratings in 14 years to Saturday Night Live this weekend. Not sure if anybody watched the game yesterday. Actually, you couldn't watch the game yesterday because the lights were turned out, but the Chargers...
Lost to the Bills, 23-14. I don't know how it's possible, but Mommy has found a new way to mess with her hair incessantly throughout the show. I don't know how she's... What did you do, Eddie? Excuse me. I complimented... Did you IM her something? May I explain? Please. Please, Eddie. Please. I noticed her hair this morning, the first thing, and it looked fantastic. Yeah. She had great hair this morning. Yeah. And then she took it out of her little rubber band and started messing with it. And so I wrote her and I said, why did you do that? Your hair looked great. It looked perfect. And now it looks like junk. I think it's probably that last part.
So now she will not leave it alone. It's, like, freaking me out. Like, I'm, like, so paranoid. Like, because it's just a basic ponytail, like, all swept back. But it's, like... That's the crow flies. That's the crow flies. Very, very much so. Very crow flies. It's still, like, I'm still so, like, ADD. Like, everything has to be, like, so perfect. And I'm just, like... That hair's got a great work ethic. And it just... It's never going to be the same as it was when Eddie thought it was perfect. You know something? You suck. Great. That's bad. going on there. That's bad. Will Ferrell is going to Broadway? Is that the deal, Sky? Yeah. He's going to do a one-man show on Broadway. Really? What a bum. What? Yeah. What a bum. There's a hobo. What a bum. Well, you know, Will Ferrell does George Bush impression, so his one-man show is going to be entitled You're Welcome, America, A Final Night with George W. Bush. That's amazing. That'd be funny. For two hours, that could be funny? I'm thinking that could be funny for five minutes. Yeah, so his longtime friend and collaborator, Adam McKay, is writing this with him. And the previews will start on Inauguration Day at the end of January and then performances run through March. Oh, there's no doubt about it. It'll sell out every night because it's Will Ferrell. I want to see it. Yeah, I want to see it too. Can you imagine, though? No. Two hours of that bushing. No, you don't like Will Ferrell.
I love them. Why are you acting like this? It sounds like a funny SNL skit. Yeah. But Mikey's got like two hours. Who said it's going to be two hours? That's how long a shot away usually, yeah. They may shorten it a little. How long? 45 minutes. I could do that. I could do that. I could do that. Then they'll fill space with other stuff. Like funny ha-has. Make-em-ups? Yeah, make-em-ups. They'll do some make-em-ups? Yeah, they'll do some clever make-em-ups. All right, fine. If Tim and Eric come out halfway through it, I'll do it. You know what I'm saying? That'd be great. It's just disturbing. No. You know what may prove to be a veritable, evil exercise in the substance of mental health? No. Stop it. No. It's a gun in hell that you saw. You seem to like those animals. Me out. I mean, of all the different analogies. Right? Dude, it was an analogy from Seinfeld, okay? You stepped right into it. I know. You were asking for it. I'm mad about that. Yeah, you were. You were asking for it. I know, I know. Dump Chick Challenge. Sky, Boston, Rob, and Ashley are the dumb chicks on the show. And what we do is we test them on their general knowledge. We ask them questions with value. Ones are easy.
Twos are a little bit harder. Threes are a little bit harder than that. First person to five points wins. Eddie's got a question. No, whatever you're saying, no. Eddie has a question, though. Statement. No, I don't. Eddie has a statement. I don't want it, whatever it is. I have a new job. What is it, Eddie? Well, I was let go, last dumb chick, from my duties as base coach to a certain person. Ashley. Yeah? You were her first base or third base? Yes. Whatever. Yes. Base coach. I was her base coach. Duh. And I was like, oh, my duties. Really? And I found another job. Yeah. Really? I'm officially Boston Rob's new coach. Really? Ashley, can I apply for the job? Can I apply for the job to be your base coach? I already picked a base coach. Who is it? My favorite person in the whole world, Sean. Sean is your new base coach. Oh, what? All right, Sean. Yeah, because he's my favorite, Eddie. All right. I'm glad. Yeah, no, you're glad. I hope that you're glad. Let me understand this correctly. Sean, who can't stand Ashley, he is her favorite person. Has he accepted the job? He hasn't even asked. He most definitely does. I speak on his behalf. I speak for my base coach in these situations. Good luck with that, Sean. She hasn't won in two years. First of all, here's what we do.
We take some people. It's very true. We take some people on the phones and they pick who they would like to represent them. And right now, Eddie and Ashley are silently. I'm sick and tired of their first hair. This is getting mad at me because I said that Sean is my favorite. I said he liked your hair. Now it looks like crap. Early this morning. I'm like, can I not say that someone else is my favorite? Like, is that so bad? And then now this. Fun. Wow. This is shocking. I'm done with you. I'm done with you. Hey, listen. I'm excited to hear what the combination of Ashley, Sean will be like. I'm excited. I'm sure it will be dynamic. I'm sure. She'll probably win every week. P1 Beanerschnitzel is on the line. There we go. How has somebody not made a taco shop called Beanerschnitzel? That's fantastic. That is awesome. That's fantastic. Get on it, Riz. P1 Beanerschnitzel. Hello. Who would you like to select? I would like to select Skye. It's a good choice. Did you not hear about the bass coach? It's a good choice. Skye does very good at this game. Hang on the line, please. And without the use of a bass coach, I might add. She sometimes consults with... Yeah, sometimes I consult with Zath in dire emergencies. That's right. It never works out. It never does. Always works out. Oh, wait. P1JMac. What's going on, Mike? Who would you like to select?
Oh, I got B-Rob. Yeah. Yeah. You're going to win. Here we go. Hang on the line. And finally, P1-0 side, you've got Ashley. Yeah, I'm good, man. You've got Ashley. Sorry, bro. We're the power team. Hang on the line. Taking over the world. Eddie, where do we start? Oh, no. Look at Eddie and Ash going at it silently. They're taunting one night. I wasn't even looking. You stopped. I wasn't even looking at him. Well, unfortunately. As the girl flies, we're starting with. With Ashley over there? Smarty pants over there. Ashley, what are you going to do? Fantastic. Well, let's find out. She's looking at Sean in the camera. I can't see Sean. I can't see Sean. Because I don't know. Can somebody get me Sean? Yes. Okay. I can't see Sean. Now, Mike, let me tell you what he's doing. He's putting up the finger one because that's what I am. I'm number one. And he's wagging his finger at me in the camera. He's inspiring her. Sean is holding up the number one. So, Ash. Gotta get warmed up. Go ahead and give me one. You're going to take one. All right. Wow. Here we go. Wow. Wow. In which country is Dracula's castle? Ash, in which country is... Rob just immediately started laughing. Immediately made Rob laugh. I gotta know this. In which country is Dracula's castle? Oh, Ashley looks very pensive. What does that look say?
What does that look say to you, Sean? What is that look that she has? There's no emotion. She has no, absolutely zero emotion. She has not moved. She has not moved one muscle. She's a little bit squinting now. She's looking towards the ceiling. Oh, no. It's like someone passed gas in the room. Maybe that's what happened. Yes, Ashley. Don't overthink the question. In which country is Dracula's cat? I don't know. I'm having a problem lately. Dracula questions. I'm getting confused. I don't know vampires, but it's my weakness. It's my garlic. Country, so not continent. I'm getting really confused. It's a girl, Sean. Enjoy that. Like London is a country. I've had to live with that for three years. Europe is a country. It's all yours. She's learning. We're just getting used to it right now. Asia's out. Look at this. This is freaking confusing me. What is going on? She's working it out. She's working it out. She'll get this, okay? Just give her a second to work this out. Think in Italy. Think in Italy. God.
Can't keep myself from making noise. That Sclavia one. Sclavia one. Yes. Sean. Sean, agree or disagree? Ashley. I feel so good. No weights off my shoulders. She's thinking. I'm going to say. Go ahead, Ash. Russia. She's fantastic. You don't know. Ashley. That is incorrect. Oh, Sean. He kind of has a Russian accent. Oh. It's not a bad guy. Oh, Sean, how dare you? It's still like an eastern block. Really? I think so. Oh, really? Dracula's doing roundhouses around this place in some strange spa. Actually, Ashley, that's incorrect. Dracula's from Transylvania. See, I knew it was... Bonkia. Slopula. Transylvania. But that's not a real country.
Transylvania actually is a real country. That is a real location. It's in Romania, but Transylvania is... That's right. See Russia, Romania. I was right there. It's a city in Romania. I was way off. She finds her way home every day. That's true. Every day. Every single day. That's so impressive. He and Locke open the door. Okay. A couple tries. That's right. Don't worry about it, kid. Don't worry about it. He was from... The Romanian order of Dracula. That's right. We move now to Skye. Who always takes a two, a two, and then a one. Switch it up today. Almost your birthday. That's so right. Wednesday is my birthday. Wednesday is my birthday. It is. You just spit at me. I thought it was next month. Sean. Sean. Hey, school. Take it down. I would like a two, please. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Huh? Uh-oh. Hey. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Oh, your question. Yeah. We elect a U.S. representative for how many years? Oh, Sky got uh-oh face. That's called uh-oh face.
Eddie and Ashley are still silently mocking and fighting with one another. They still are. They're still not over this breakup. The whole time they have been going at it with each other. You will. You'll come begging back. Sky is still thinking about this. It's definitely an even number of years. It is an even number. It is not greater than eight. Sky was searching my face for confirmation. An even number not greater than eight. And it's not zero. Thank you. It is definitely not zero. I'm thinking it's a denomination of money. Is it a hundred? Is it a Lincoln? Are they put into office for a Lincoln, Mike? An Abe, as we call it. I don't know. The years. Porn. Two. That is correct, Skye. The look of surprise on her face is my favorite. The look of surprise on her face when she gets it right is my favorite. Robert. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Eddie is giving you game signs that represent the number. Look at that. They're doing signs to each other. Eddie is pretending to knock one out of the park. Okay.
Ashley's not really amused. I got the signal. What's this? I want a three. That's chemistry, bro. Oh, a three. That's chemistry. Branching out of what he normally does. Guy's going to take a three-pointer. You show him, bro. Rob, what is the smallest ocean in the world? I know this. Ashley knows it. One second. Oh, wow. Take your time. I'd like to. Thank you. You've got nothing going on. Take your time. You've got nothing. It is the Indian Ocean. That is a question. No. That's an answer. You're answering me. And it's correct. That is incorrect, Rob. Oh, man. Rob is upset. Ashley, what is it? It is, uh... No! Ashley has the Indian Ocean. I thought it was the Indian Ocean. Oh, boy. You're a jerk. You guys both have big red floppy shoes. Seriously. Maybe Mike's the one who has it wrong. It is not. It's not the Indian Ocean. Smallest ocean in the world is the Arctic.
Ocean. That is wrong. They remeasured in 08. Well, global warming. They did a new census of oceans. Yep. Peppers. I heard the Indian lost weight. Ashley, you are up. Ashley instantly looked to her camera. She is looking at Sean. Sean is cracking his knuckles. He's stretching. Pretend to care. And he's putting his hands up. He's ready to give her the signal. Don't flip me off. No, Sean. He's doing stuff with his hands. This is a good team. He just gave you his advice. He just gave you his advice. He believes that this is the way to victory. And now he's dancing. He believes that this is the way to victory. He's dancing.
No, I refuse. You refuse? You refuse his advice. Look at Eddie. Look at Eddie. Sit down, Eddie. Sitting, looking at you with his arms crossed. I would like to take a two. He told you, but your base coach told you to take a run. Fine. That's fine. You know what? I hope she's right. She's going against your advice. I love it. I love it. I hope she's right. All right. Your two-point question is. Most wage earners file a W-2, but independent contractors have to report non-taxed income on what? Ashley is staring down the barrel of a 45. Oh, no. She's got vertigo. Yes, she is pinching the bridge of her nose, and that's not good. Now she shook her head. Unless you're an independent contractor, you wouldn't even care to know about it. A lot of people have heard of this particular form. I want to say W4. W40. That is not right, Ash. They call that a 1099. You've heard that. Oh, Ash is shaking her head. No, I haven't, Mike. Never heard of that. Don't know what that is. 1099, Rubber Duck. Sky, you've already got two. Three.
You need only three. Oh, Skye just rolled her eyes like, please, please. Come on, it's your birthday. Well, obviously, since there's no pressure from Rob, I will take a two. Very true. Don't worry, she'll have to answer a one at some point. Skye? Yeah, what up, bro? Your two-point question is, at his memorial in Washington, D.C., which president is depicted in his wheelchair? Now she got a furrowed brow. Okay, wait. I'm still trying to understand the question. Probably. At his memorial in Washington, D.C. But I have a memorial of this dude, and he's in a wheelchair in the memorial. At his memorial in Washington, D.C. I'm just trying to. This guy is so irritated. I'm just reading the question. I mean, but can't he just say yes? That's the question. Just listen to the question. I know. Let's put it in a confusing way. Is he on money? Is he on money? Yes. Please answer the question.
I know he ain't on a sink open. Teddy Roosevelt. That is... Actually, is Teddy Roosevelt... Is that the nickname of FDR? No. That's Theodore Roosevelt. Oh, yeah, that's who I meant, FDR. I knew it was a Roosevelt. That's my favorite. I knew it was a Roosevelt. I always get them confused. Franklin Delano. Roosevelt. Better known as Teddy. That's right. Or by his nickname, Teddy. On his wheelchair, on the horse. Exactly. Wow. Oh, that's right, because Teddy is the one from Night at the Museum. Okay, now I'll never forget that. Teddy was the one from Night at the Museum, played by Robin Williams. Sky seriously gets her knowledge from movies. He's in love with Sacagawea, but he thinks that she's... Deaf, but she's behind glass. Eddie just gave Sky a look like, you get home too. Every day. Every day. Boston Robert. He's looking at Eddie. You know how I roll? Give me another three. Yeah, baby. Look at this guy. These are not working out well together. We are doing awesome. These guys are doing really bad. I don't like it. What's this? He is not going to get that.
He will get this. What is that about? He will get this. What actor portrayed the first openly gay regular character on the TV show? Soap. Eddie just gave Rob a look that said, calm down. He's got it. Calm down. Take a breath. Calm down. I've never talked about it on the show before. Uh-uh. Rob is... Not for a million dollars. Rob looks like he's holding his breath, oddly enough. It's all right. Trying to pass out. Yep, he's trying to pass out. The TV show Soap. So long ago. Oh, wow. It jogged my memory. You got to know it. Come on. John Stamos. He's halfway there. That's incorrect, Rob. Who is it? Billy Crystal. Billy Crystal. Do you remember? Did you know that there's a TV show called Soap? No. Yes. TV show called Soap.
And Billy Crystal's gay? And on the show, he plays... Jody. First openly gay guy named Jody. How about that? That's right. Okay, I'll never remember that. Sean and Ashley are already communicating with one another. Oh, really? Ashley is looking intently into her computer screen. Well, I was about to forfeit. You can't. I was about to forfeit. You can't forfeit unless Sean decides to just be cool. You can't because it's time to make our move. Sean is loosing his knuckles and he's going, oh, wow. Seriously. Sean is holding up three fingers. Are you serious? We're going to take a three. Isn't that great? Because we're the best. Here we go. We'll see about that. Lock and load. Here we go. Ashley, what term refers to a racehorse between its first and second birthdays? What term refers to a racehorse between its first and second birthdays? Can you eat them? I so know this. Holy crap. Toddler. Baby horse. Oh, she took off her headphones. She took her headphones off to think. That's going to mess her hair up.
Tiny horse. Infant horse. I know this. Is it a little baby horse? Junior. It's my little pony. Junior. Headphones are back on. That hair is messed up. It is. Look at it. It's going to get in her head. What? Me? Gosh. Oh, it's right there. Right there. I went to the horse races and I learned about what it's all called. It's a horse cub. Something like obvious and when you tell me I'm going to snap. How did this say Sammy? It's not a pie. Yuck. It's really... You want me to read the question again? It might help. Jog it. One more time. One more time. Oh, boy. What term refers to a racehorse between its first and second birthdays? She's scratching her nose. She's going... She's making that... That hand gesture for... What is it? One and a half. I know this. It's in there. Oh, no. Now she's deflated. Yes. Oh.
Oh, that sucks. This is maybe the most suckiest of all sucky answers that I am not able to answer. I would have never told you your thing. It starts with either a T or a D and it's not a fawn. I don't know. It's not a fawn. No, that's a D. Are you sure? Yes, I'm going to say Moses again, Mike. I don't know. The safety answer. It doesn't start with a T or a D. They call a racehorse between its first and second birthday a yearling. A yearling. A yearling. Didn't know that. No, I didn't. They didn't have a clue. Oh, I was thinking changeling. First time I ever heard of that. Yearling. Yeah, they got the changeling. Isn't that a horse that doesn't look like another baby horse? They're tough today, Ash. It's a tough bat. Yeah, it is. No, you don't. No, you don't. Skye, what are you going to do? I'd like another two, please. Let's do it. Sky, your two-point question is, which brand of the military is associated with the Top Gun Academy? Oh. Oh. Oh, mama. Oh, mama. What? Which branch of the military? Okay.
I thought he said what brand of the military. No, no, no. Which branch of the military? Tom Cruise? Is associated with the Top Gun Academy. Mavericks? Goose? I don't know. The Hot Branch? Oh, God. I feel like this answer's too easy. So I feel like I'm getting it wrong. The Air Force? That is incorrect. Wow. Oh, wow. But they were in planes. But they were in planes. I think that was a good guess. Wow. It's the Naval Flight Academy. It's the Navy, the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School. So that would have had to be the answer I would have had? Top Guns and Navy. Okay, so Navy was the answer. That's right, Navy is the answer. You know that Miramar place you pass every day? That's a Navy out there. Sky is squinting at Eddie right now with a look that says, it's almost over, buddy. I apologize. It's almost over. This war is not between us. Okay. Eddie's apologized to you, Sky. He has apologized to you. But I mean, I'm still trying to figure it out. I know, but he says this war is not between. They fly planes off the ground. It's not between you and him. In the Navy, it's the ocean, and you fly off a boat. Eddie, I believe she accepts your apology. I still don't understand. Boston Rob. What should I do? What should I do?
Oh, wow. He's popping and locking. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Look at that. Eddie is mouthing to him what to do. Oh, the look of jealousy in Ashley's eyes when Eddie... It's called chemistry. I just want to thank Eddie for helping me out. It is just hatred. Hatred. I'm having a great game today. What are you going to do? Even though I haven't scored any points. Yeah. We've had fun. We've had fun. Yeah, we've had a blast. I'm going to go with Eddie's suggestion. Take a two. You got it. Because you know what? I can't lose if I'm having fun. That's right. Yeah. Sounds like a great plan. You guys look bad together. It's just jealousy, dude. Don't let her get down. Is it like Michael Jackson? Is it like Michael Jackson when he was dating Webster? Webster? Yes. They don't look good together. Let's prove them wrong. All right. Here we go. Your two-point question, Rob, is Steve Wozniak co-founded what groundbreaking company? Oh. Rob just opened his eyes like he just woke up. It was like he just woke up. And Eddie's rubbing his head like, oh, no. Eddie's shaking his head. What point is this? How many points? Two-pointer. Steve Wozniak co-founded what groundbreaking company? Ash, do you know? Ashley does not know. Wait. Yeah, I believe I know. I believe I know. What's the matter with you people? What is the matter with you, Sarah? I'm fine. I'm just going to guess and say Google. You're cute.
I don't know. That is incorrect. Yahoo. That is incorrect. Yahoo. Steve Wozniak. Gmail. Steve Wozniak and what is it? Steve Jobs? Yes. The two of them together? Oh. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Apple. Ashley, take a look at your base coach. Look at there, Sean. He's limbering up the fingers. I don't know. What is the score? Sky is the only one with points. He has two. I scored those in the first round. In the first hour? Yeah. Three hours ago, I scored those four. We used to go to seven. What are you going to do? I know. We had to stop going to seven. We should go to three. Give me a three, please. You got it. There it is. This is your time to shine. Ashley, what was Princess Di's maiden name? Come on, kid.
Ashley just with her hand said, you know what? Get at it. I'm done with this. I don't like my job. Well, here's the problem. Go ahead. Go ahead. This is why I should not be playing this game. Straight up. Because I'm sure that I bought the people on Princess Diana. No doubt. I read the entire freaking article, Mike, about her and her entire life. She's getting angry. What's up, Sean? That was less than a year ago. Go ahead. Go ahead, Ashley. Aren't you glad you're in this now? It's in there somewhere. You've got to find it, girl. Can the bass coach quit? Is that allowed? Ashley, it's in times like these where you're starting to feel down. You somehow have to pick yourself up off the ground and say, that information's in my brain and I'm down. Diane Laird? She's right, right? I wish that every listener...
I wish every listener got that joke because it's so good. It's so good. It's so good. Shauna is crying. Shauna right now just peed in her car, rushed off the side of the road. Diana Laird was a program director in this building for another one of our organizations. Yeah, like four or five years ago. Four or five years ago. She worked for her. But Ashley thought maybe. There's a chance. There's a chance. She may have been married to him. There's maybe a chance that Princess Di's maiden name could have been Laird. No, it just sounded good. It's actually not Diana Laird. Spencer. Her name was Diana. I knew it was something basic. That's a crow fly. That's a crow fly. Diana Spencer. Oh, dear. We have almost marked off every question on this sheet.
This is, like, ridiculous. Okay, let me talk to my coach. Oh, wow. Desperate times call for you. Is it time, Zach? Is it time, or should we try and go another round before we? Oh, my. Oh, my, my. I think if we go two and we go another round, we'll run out of questions and nobody wins. I like that. So I think you've got to go for it. Oh, okay. Oh, Mama Ranch. Just go for a three and just get it. Okay, I'll try my best. Okay. A three, please. Oh, jeez. Please. Give her a tweet. Sky? Hey, can you just stay out of my business? I'm not anywhere near your business, lady. Hey, work with your player over there. Sky, your three-point question is... Ahem. Ahem. Ahem. Ahem. Ahem. Ahem. Ahem. Ahem. Ahem. Popular during the Victorian era. Oh, crap. Sky just fluttered her eyes like, okay, great. Popular during the Victorian era. What garment? Corset. Can I ask you? Oh, my gosh. Sky. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Oh, sorry. Please continue with your question. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Popular during the Victorian era. Yes, Mike. What garment is designed to protect its wearer from the aroma of tobacco?
What? As soon as she heard the word aroma, she was irritated. Okay. President! Think about it. You think about this. President! What? Did any president on currency ever wear this? Was it a money skirt? I guess a $50 bill, Mike. I need the questioning. Oh, you got it. Sky popular during the Victorian era. Money skirt. What garment is designed to protect its wearer from the aroma of tobacco? Skye has hands in prey position up to mouth. She is now giggling. That's never a good sign. No. When Skye starts to giggle.
It's never a good sign. What movie have I seen? Oh, that's great. 310 to you, mom. I don't really like period pieces, I'm not going to lie. We just saw Titanic. Wild Wild West with Will Smith. Girls Just Want to Have Fun was a period piece. Making currency smock. Well, that was a period piece. That was a period piece. Good reference. Great reference. Okay, I don't know. So I am going to say nose plugs. Wow. Is she serious? I don't know. Nose plugs. Well, you know, 50's wadded up in your nose. That's incorrect. It is. Eddie, that is. What? I'm shocked. You don't say. Oh, my God. Skye, it's a smoking jacket. Come on. Skye just furled her brow. How does a smoking jacket prevent somebody from smelling cigarette smoke? Well, you take the smoking jacket off, and it's absorbed all of the smell of the smoke, and now you can go. Oh, I was thinking if you're standing in a room full of smokers, how would you not smell their smoke? Break at some point.
I don't know how we do this, Eddie. I mean, it's practically... Let's just call it a three-way tie. I agree. BC and Clint are almost on. Three-way tie. Ask a question. Whoever says their name first and gets it right wins. There you go. Perfect. Yes. Do we have any half-point questions? I wish we could. Okay. Come on, O. Are you... Okay. Whoever says their name... Okay, okay, okay, okay. I'll say it. Come on. You got it. Say it first. Okay. Mike, I'm good at... Here we go. Where... Is Guantanamo Bay... Skye. Did Skye say it? I think Skye said it. Skye said her name. Skye said her name first. Skye? I wish I could hear the whole question. Cuba? That is correct. That took a really long time. He wasn't my base coach. You fired me.
No, because I did it. I fired you once and I was going to ask you back this week until you quit. Congratulations to you. I had fun today, Eddie. You did a wonderful job. It's all your fault, Eddie. To improve mileage, come by Chevron and fill up with air. That's right, air. When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Can't remember? Then it's definitely been too long. Did you know even tires in good shape can lose about one pound of pressure a month? And underinflated tires make your engine work harder, lowering your mileage.
But don't over-inflate them. You can usually find the recommended tire pressure on a sticker located on the driver's side door jamb. And speaking of air, air conditioning is not so hot for your car's mileage either. Whenever you turn it on, it puts an added strain on your engine. Now, at highway speeds, it's probably better to use the A.C. rather than roll down the windows because of the aerodynamics. But around town, enjoy the fresh air. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. I'm a car guy. I love cars. This was probably the funnest couple months maybe I've ever had. I know our guys will be down for a little while, but they have no reason to hang their head. That's an unbelievable group of guys in there. The outcome of this game won't change my feelings towards that ever. There you go, Rob. It's all about having fun. Yeah, nice guy. Guy sounded like a really nice guy. That guy has more stuff in his mouth than anybody I've ever seen play baseball. Double bubble. Dude, I don't know what he's got going on in there. But, you know, you got to either chew the bubble gum, sunflower seeds. That's about it. Yeah. But this guy, I mean, he's got wads of stuff. Ew. And he's always chewing and spitting, chewing and spitting, chewing and spitting. Bubble gum the whole game. You can watch him during the game and you'll see him be popping to pieces, popping to pieces. Dude, I hope it's sugar free because he's going to lose all his teeth. It's so weird how those ballplayers, they have to be chewing on something. Yeah. Do ballplayers really do still chew tobacco? Oh, yeah. A lot of them. Really? And what are they spitting it in? Just on the ground. On the ground? Come on. Or they drink it.
That's filthy. Or they just swallow it. Oh, that's so gross. They're spinning constantly. That is gross. Before we went to break, I said we were going to tell you who was arrested for allegedly setting the Bay Terrace's brush fire on Friday. Who was it, Sky? A 15-year-old high school boy is currently in juvenile hall and charged with arson. The fire started about 2.30 on Friday in Bay Terrace's Canyon. I guess he lit a little bit of brush on fire. He was playing with the lighter. It got out of control. They had to evacuate schools and houses in the area. And boom goes the dynamite. Basically. So 15-year-old boy now in custody. Let's see. This email is about Ashley's blog. Oh, no. It says, so today Ashley's blog is about babysitting yesterday. She tells tales of the day's exploits. Then in the last paragraph says, and I quote, as much as I had fun after 12 hours of just straight playing nonstop, it was worse than a binder, man. I was so, so tired. A binder? The emailer goes on to say, Eddie.
A binder? What does it mean to be worse than a binder? Great question. Are binders exhausting? I was not aware. What is a binder? Oh, wow. What is a binder? I read that and then I had to fix it. What is it? I meant to put binder. Binder? What? Then I was like, is that a word? And then I was like, did I mean to write binger? And then I was like, is that a word? And then I was like, are P1s going to understand my analogy? And then I was like, you know, screw it all. And I just wrote something else. A bender? A bender. A bender. I was way off. A bender. But that doesn't make sense. It was worse than a bender. Isn't a bender, like, partying really hard? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But how would babysitting be worse than a bender? No, it took more out of me than back when I was like... I got it. Go on a bender. Go on a bender. There it is. That's it. That's it. Let me tell you, there's two things that are funny about it. First of all, the obvious, just the fact that she wrote it at all. The binder is funny. But the second funny thing about it is, Ash, do you now post your own blogs or does somebody post them for you? Well, I proof, like if I, like I'll read them, like I go on and read my blog like every day. So does Zeth still, she does it. She does it though. She posts her own blog, right? Because it was at the point where Zeth.
If I find a correction or something, I will resend it to Zeth. She would re-edit her blog so many times that Zeth was finally losing his mind. He said she makes so many corrections to her own blog. She'd get really serious. Does anybody else on this show read their own blog? No, I wrote it. I don't need to read my own blog. So let me ask a question. So what happened was you would post the blog. Then you would be like, hey, what's up with Ashley? Go on the blog. You'd be reading the blog and you'd be, ah, mistake. That doesn't make any sense. Hang on. Ashley, what are you talking about? I got to write this to Ashley Brissett. Fantastic. I wish she would have wrote this. I'll read it back because I like to make sure that it makes sense. Like I really like blogging. You don't do that right out of the beginning. No, I do. I do. Read it and then you're done. I do. But then she re-edits. But I'll mix it. She re-edits. I re-edit. So you go back and read it again. Yeah. Yeah. And then re-edit. And then sometimes she would re-edit that. Come on. Again. Wow. She would find something else that she felt was wrong. That's crazy. You've got to get it just so. Yeah. Just perfect. You've got to get it just right. I like to think that each entry is a little nugget of art. What happens when somebody goes and reads it?
Before you edit it again. That sucks, and they probably are judging me. Yeah, that it would be. You wrote it. Yeah, but then they're judging, like, the mistake that was made that was not caught. Exactly. Like, right now, as the blog stands and as the crow flies, that. Now I get it. That blog right now. Oh, it's perfection. That's right. The bender. Yeah. Well, the bender's been removed. Has it? I edited it. Yeah, that's why she went on this morning. What does it say now? Binder. It now says binder? I just, oh. All right, the new line is, as much as I had fun after 12 hours of just straight playing nonstop, it was as if I'd ran a marathon. I was so, so tired. So I chose that. I like a better analogy. It's a safer analogy. So now what she just read is a correction to what a listener actually read earlier. Yes. She's already edited that thing. That's fantastic. I got to tell you, though, the way this sucker reads right now is practically like reading a Moses book or something. It's money, right? Mark Twain or whatever. Whatever. Same guy. It is not as a crow flies. It is not basic. It is good. It is good is what I'm saying.

Speaking of Mr. McGain, his running mate, Sarah Palin, was on SNL this weekend. How did it do in the ratings, Sky? It gave Saturday Night Live the highest ratings they've had in the last 14 years. They estimate about 17 million people tuned in for the first half hour. Caboodle. Right? For real? Yeah. Let's see. This is Alec Baldwin mistaking Sarah Palin for Tina Fey. Cut two. Hey, Lorne. Hey, Tina. Lorne, I need to talk to you. You can't let Tina go out there with that woman. She goes against everything we stand for. I mean, good Lord, Lorne. They call her, what's that name? They call her Kara, Kara. What do they call her again, Tina? That being Caribou Barbie. Caribou Barbie. Thank you, Tina. I mean, this is the most important election in our nation's history, and you want her, our Tina, to go out there and stand there with that.
Horrible woman, what do you have to say for yourself? Alex, this is Governor Palin. Hi there. I see. Forgive me, but I feel I must say this. You are way hotter in person. Thank you. I mean, seriously. I mean, I can't believe they let her, you know, play you. Thank you. And I must say, your brother Stephen is my favorite Baldwin brother. You are a delight. Let me take you for a tour of the studio. You know I've hosted the show how many times, Lauren? 175 times. Yeah, so that was part of the opening monologue where they have Tina Fey out on the stage doing her Sarah Palin impression, and Sarah Palin was behind backstage with Lauren Michaels. I want to hear the rap, but I don't want to hear all three minutes of the rap. You don't? You don't.
Oh, I do. But yeah, but I mean, you can hear the first part of it and get the gist and then cut it off when you're good. What is the idea here? Like what happened? What is it? OK, so Sarah Palin comes back for Weekend Update, you know, their little news segment that they do. And Sarah comes out and basically says, hey, you know, I was supposed to do this, but I've decided I'm not going to. So Amy, can you help me out? And then Amy proceeds to do this rap. Like, about Sarah Palin. Cut for. Ha! Oh, Mark Wahlberg. Hi. Yes. Oh, man. And now, here to clear up some misconceptions about her campaign, Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. And thanks for the chance to come out here tonight. But I've been thinking it over, and I'm not going to do the piece that we rehearsed. You're so good at it. Oh, I know. It was really fun, too, but my gut is telling me it might be a bad idea for the campaign. Are you sure? Yeah, after a lot of thought, I think it might just cross the line. Okay, well, in that case, Amy, do you want to do Governor Palin's part instead? I guess I could give it a try. Do you want to remember it? I kind of remember it, yeah. Okay, why don't you try it? One, two, three!
That's hysterical. She's into it. She's raising the roof. This is out on stage, a guy in a moose outfit. Shot the moose. Funny visual, because Amy Poehler is like nine months pregnant. I mean, she's going to drop that baby any day. Which makes it even funnier. They had one of the guys from the cast, I forget his name, came out dressed up like Todd Palin in this like snowmobile, like racing snowmobile. Classic. She's got a good sense of humor to be through all that. She's the best, right? Yeah, she's the greatest. It's funny you guys weren't saying that that day. I don't see Biden up there. Oh my gosh. Such a contrast. You know what I'm saying, Rob? I know it. What about Palin? I still don't think they're going to win, but you know.
I think that as I've watched it go on, I thought, man, that's a pretty... I mean, you thought it was a plot from the Democratic Party. Oh, I totally did. I totally did. You said you weren't going to vote, is what you said. Here's what I think. I think they have the Democrats in a tough position in that she's very likable. Oh, please. Yeah, she's very likable. Yeah, she is. She's very pretty, and she's very likable. The problem... The hard part to overcome is McCain. I think he's a great dude with some great politics. The problem is that the communication style is a little... Thank you, Mikey. Thank you. Sometimes I don't... I'm just not going to say anything. Oh, sure. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you. Oh, sure. I'm just really glad that we had John McCain on the show saying thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mikey. You're very welcome, Mr. McCain. Very thankful. Wow, he really is. You're very welcome. These are some text messages we're getting. Mikey, I write stuff on my hands all the time. I wish one day there would be a post-it note glove or something like that. Dude, I invented that. I invented that a long time ago. Patent pending. Patent pending. Patent pending. That would be wicked awesome. That's signed P1 Lemon.
Awesome. Mikey, I just have to say that when Sean was screaming, that was the best thing to happen to Monday mornings ever. He wants thank you. Yeah, Sean inappropriately yells. Yeah. Not true. Only appropriately. Mikey, your show is fish and chips. That's P1 London. Wow. Mikey. I was wondering if you guys saw last night's episode of American Dad. They made sexual furry references. Oh, Sean. What is American Dad? It's by the creator Family Guy. It's an awful show. Animated comedy. That must mean it's popular. It's not for the family. That must mean it's popular. It's not for the family because that's the only TV shows you watch. Right. Sean watches every TV show. on TV. I like television. Cowboy cooking. Cowboy flavor, stop it. This text says, hey, Eddie, are you stoked for the greatest show on TV tonight? Terminator, the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Just picked up for a full season. Thank you. I was so happy. With that badass Brian Austin Green. What is he going to do on there? What's he going to be? He plays the badass. He's good. He's John Connor's uncle.
And he has come back from the future to assist John with surviving. Really? Yeah. And he's a badass. Now, the show is about Sarah Connor, though, right? Isn't it? It's about the Connors. The Connors. The Connors. Yeah. The Ghanas. The Ghanas. The Ghanas. They're a bunch of Ghanas. Stop killing anyone. Stop! He doesn't sound like that anymore. He should do, like, a really bad imitation. That I would watch. What are we going to do? P1AO is on the line. What's up, popcorn players? What's going on? There he is. Hey, so I woke up this morning in a good mood. You know what I'm saying? And I told myself, I said, self, how are you feeling? I said, I'm feeling kind of froggy, so I'm going to take a leap at this. Mikey Show, I would like to send out a PSA to O, if you will.
If you guys would like to join in, feel free. Oh, this is for you. Oh, my name's not Oh. Yes, it is. Happy birthday to Oh. Oh. Happy birthday to Oh. Happy birthday to Oh. Come on. Happy birthday to you. Oh. You actually got sky blushing on that one. It's very sweet. Can you give me a favor real quick? Yeah. Put your fist up to O. Put two fingers up. Yep. Spread them apart. Happy birthday. Peace. Thank you. Thank you. It's P1AO. He loves him some Sky. I love it. Oh, yeah. Let's see. He likes a little cream. It's not her birthday. A little splendor. Yeah, Wednesday's my birthday. Just so you know, Sky will be turning. But I will accept it. Sky will be turning 31 and not.
71, as her weekend implied. Yesterday, Skye went to brunch with her grandma. At my grandma's home. You know Skye. I mean her old folks' home, not her house. We went to the Sunday brunch. My guess is she was telling you to loosen up. Let your hair down. Met the chef there. Did you? Yes. How was that? He's a lovely gentleman. Can you believe this lady? Yeah, and then we went out and sat in the courtyard and chatted. Don't you eat mush? No, bro. They had a whole Sunday brunch set up. No salt. Yeah. Well, they do try and, you know. Sugar-free everything. Lighten up on the seasoning. Everything sugar-free, no seasoning. Oh, Skye, what did you eat? I mean, do I have to say? I don't want to. Did you have ham? Come on, Skye. Are you kidding me? Wow. That's a crazy breakfast food to eat. What do you want from her? Right? I had eggs and some meat and sweet, luscious ham. Wow. And some pineapple. Eddie had some pineapple. You're not getting out of this. I really love ham. It's like being on a desert island, Eddie, eating that pineapple. No. I was like, oh, wow. She is phenomenal. She has to have it.
Dude, she can't get enough ham. Our ham levels get low. Yes. Well, they only had two kinds of meat. Ham and more ham. Yes. So the Hambulance has to rush her to the hospital and give her a ham. I'm a big fan of ham. Grow up. Wow. You had me at ham and eggs. She got it intra-ham-vously. It was a lovely day. It was lovely. It was lovely. You are phenomenal. You mean there's a fork in this hand? Shush. This guy was an old lady when I met her 10 years ago. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, did you notice I wore my overalls on Saturday? Yes, I did, Ski. Back of the closet. Yes, I did. So appropriate. Turning 31, wearing overalls I bought when I was 18. Let me tell you something. I'm talking. Let's be proud. Let me tell you something. In style. When Sky, when I first met Sky, that was like her regular. That was my go-to. That was her go-to, man. Overalls with a tank top underneath it. Well, that's how I rolled. It's our girl Sky. Let's see. I already read you the. Oh, did we? Yeah, we did. The deal with the most creative and least creative times. We did that. Yeah. What about.
The progression of 7-Eleven's presidential coffee cup poll. Yeah. What's that all about? Like, you know how 7-Eleven, I don't know if you've been there lately, but if you buy coffee, they have, I'm sure you have. Yes, that's where Moss Deep is. Well, no, remember? Remember he retired. The most deaf. His name was the most deaf. Cool Moss Deep. Deepak Chopra. Yeah, that's him. That's him. Your 7-Eleven guy was Deepak Chopra. No, it actually wasn't. His name is Kool Deep. He's a database engineer and he's going to take a job in New Jersey. That's right. He's an expert in Novell Networks. Has he left yet? No, he's not left yet. When does he leave? Well, he was supposed to, actually he was supposed to already leave, but because of the economy, they've got a hiring freeze at the place where he's going to work. So he has to wait until like November or something. So you're saying that you're not losing your 7-Eleven guy? Not yet, but I will in November. And Sean doesn't like the new guy. We can all hope the economy doesn't get better, right, Sean? That's right. Just hope for that. If the economy stays down, you don't lose the most death.
He will stay around. So at 7-Eleven, they have Obama cups and McCain cups. Yes, they do. For your coffee. Yes. And I didn't know this. I just thought it was some cheesy thing they do. But they actually track each cup. Yes. And over the previous years. Yeah, they scan them. Yeah, over the previous years. My fans don't go to 7-Eleven. Right. Yeah, they have their own espresso machines at home. More circle games. They send their driver in to get their drink for them. Yes. Yeah. Kathy's done. Is that the tea kettle or John McCain? I can't tell. What in the world? I'm pronouncing consonants. So they track these cups and actually in previous elections, like the amount of cups sold is reflective of the vote. Oh, really? She wouldn't even have brought this story up if it wasn't what we know it's going to be. So go ahead. Of course. Just say it. If everybody votes at 7-Eleven. Yes. You know, most presidential debates have been chosen by 7-Eleven constituents. It's true, Mike. It's true. I'm just saying these are the facts. I don't know what you want from me. 7-Eleven is changing the world. That's right. I don't know what you want from me. These are the facts. That's where I sent my ballot in from. So you can check the daily updates at 7-Eleven. Wait. The number 7-Eleven.
election.com is the website. And currently Obama has 60 percent. McCain has 40 percent. You know what? That's what's going to happen then. Well, the 2000 and 2004, the numbers of cups sold reflected the votes. Let me tell you something. We'll see if it happens again. Let me tell you, we better have some change if that dude becomes president. Because if we don't, you're going to be hearing about it for four years. All I'm going to do is whine and complain and kick and scream if those things don't happen. All that stuff he talked about. Come on, Mike. He's going to do some good. You just wait. I will. And wait. And wait. You don't know. It wasn't. It was Hillary was her candidate. She liked Edwards. Oh, that's right. No, that's right. She liked Edwards. I like the adulterer. The baby maker. Hey, listen. He may be an adulterer, but that dude, you believed in his politics. Exactly. I am ready to rumble. And it was before I knew he was an adult. Well, it's not flip-flopping if he's not an option anymore. Flip-flop.
Flip-flopping would be like when you said you weren't going to vote. No, remember you said you weren't going to vote. No matter what. No, you said you weren't even going to vote. You were so mad about Sarah Kalin. You said to me you weren't even going to vote. And now you're doing pig nose and I don't know what it means. I don't know what it means. And it's really gross. Yeah! There is a PlayStation game that is being delayed because they're afraid of Muslim backlash. Yeah, it was supposed to be out earlier this month. It's called Little Big Planet, and I know nothing about video games, but according to this article, it was supposed to be a really huge release. Grand terrorist auto. They had to hold it back. They said, listen, it's too dangerous. Well, it turns out that some of the music, some of the background music. Grand Theft Camel. Magic Carpet Hero. Some of the background music. Sitar Hero. Sitar Hero. Oh, my God. Sitar Hero. Oh, that's funny. Wow. And I'm done today. After that. And paycheck earned. Yeah. Wow. Oh, my gosh.
So some of the background music, I guess, contains words from the Koran, and so they don't even want to go there, deal with any of that. So they have to change it, yeah. So it'll now be released at the end of the month. Are they afraid of loony Christians getting all mad about it, or are they afraid of, like, that it'll offend Muslims? I think they don't want to offend Muslims. Yeah. They don't want to offend Muslims. I remember when that cartoon came out. Yeah, of Muhammad. They, like, freaked out, and they're, like, calm down. It's a video game. That's right. Relax and listen to some Madonna. You know what I mean? I know. Let's see. 570-1053 is our phone number. Beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone segment. And you can call us and say hi. Travis Barker got out of the hospital on Friday. Good. Yeah, so he's back at home. He was really excited to get back to his kids. So that's, you know, really good. He, you know, had been there ever since the plane crash that killed four people.
Some dude got shot and killed, I think, yeah, some guy got shot and killed outside 4th and B this weekend. What happened? Yeah, well, everything I've read, you know, the details are kind of sketchy. The police got a call at about 2 o'clock in the morning, early Saturday morning, to shots fired, responding to shots fired. And they showed up and found some dude shot in the head in that parking lot right in between 4th and B in the Civic Center. You know, that parking lot, kind of the back of 4th and B. They found some dude shot in the head and took him to the hospital. and he died a few hours later in the hospital. The article I read says he's 26 years old, has not yet been ID'd. They're trying to find people to interview, to find out anything. Is there a concert, did you say? Well, 4th and B had a costume ball on Friday night. It was early Saturday morning. But anybody who saw this guy at 4th and B is like, yeah, it's not like they saw him fighting anyone or get in a disagreement. So they really don't know. And of course, please say anybody who knows anything, give them a call. In Carlsbad, there was a house fire that led to a little indoor pot bust. Can you imagine? People are like... Anybody hungry? Firefighters are standing by eating Doritos.
So this was late Sunday morning, about 10 o'clock Sunday morning. The fire department was called out to a two-story house in Carlsbad because of a fire. They went and put out a fire in one of the bedrooms and realized that there was some illegal stuff going on and called the police. And that's when the police came in. So this guy, Eric Vaughn, 33 years old, he's now got to deal with police, plus there's about $30,000 worth of damage to the house from the fire. Wow. So good luck with your interest. Today's the last day to register to vote. Yep. If you want to vote. Get out and vote, suckers. Getting it done. Come on. Doing it today. If you want to print out a form to register to vote, you can go to sdvote.com or you can go to the Registrar of Voters on Ruffin Road in Kearney Mesa. The Registrar. And so, whatever. So you have to have it postmarked. Registrar.
To the registrar. The registrar of voters. But that needs to be postmarked today, so get it together, people. sdvote.com Hello, is this the registrar of voters, please? Yes, my name is Skye, and I will be doing a write-in this year, but I thought I would inform you, the registrar of voters, to let you know. I'd like to make a registrar sin for my registrar. May I make a registration, please? Okay. Uh, let's see. Austin Rob's birthday is next month. The guy's never been to Benihana. Is that just... Wow. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. Sad for you. It's not hurtful. It's very hurtful. It's not hurtful. After you eat there, you'll understand. You will. So are we going to go there? Yeah, dude, that's where we want to go, Ash. He's never been there. Nice. He's never been there. So good. It's the greatest thing. I can't say he's not a fan of it. Neither is my wife, but that's because they don't know what's going on. Yeah, there's something wrong with them. They don't understand. It's heaven. It's the greatest. When they put that little dollop of butter in the fried rice and sprinkle some kind of sprinkle sauce on it. Sprinkle sauce? You have no idea. It's the greatest. It's the greatest. Huh.
I'm going to have to look at... Yeah, dude, onion volcano, great. A what? I like onion volcanoes. Yeah, dude. Dude. It's all good. I can't wait. Japanese ketchup. Ha-ha-ha. Egg roll. Ha-ha-ha. P1 vigilante. Hi, Ralph. How are you? Yo, what's up, Mikey and the crew? What's up? What's going on? Hey, brother. I just wanted to share because I know that you guys are kind of going back and forth, and personally, I can't wait until these elections are over. It's killing me. Yeah. But a group of 100 nonpartisan economists got together and they laid out both candidates' economical plans. And at the end of four years, McCain would leave us with a trillion dollar higher deficit than we have now. And Obama would leave us with a $737 billion higher deficit than we have now. But we'd all have health care. So I think that was kind of interesting because McCain's always accusing Obama of spending and this and that. So Obama, wait a minute.
So Obama will leave us with less of a deficit and every American will have health care. Obama. Is that right? Tell him, Jake. Yes, sir. Okay. Well, I have a prediction to make. Okay. Obama will most likely win the presidency. And every American will not have health care. And the deficit will be much higher than $700 billion. But maybe, maybe I totally don't get it. That's true. You don't. I don't. Well, we'll see. It's a well-known fact. So we'll see. Yes, we will see. My guess is total and complete not-true-isms. Wow. A hundred nonpartisan economists. Oh, boy. Oh, boy, with that. You think they were all plants, Mike? Listen, let me tell you something. Let me tell you.
As soon as dude said that, I thought it doesn't matter if this point is being made for McCain or if this point is being made for Obama. As soon as he said nonpartisan, I went, oh, boy. Listen, there's no such thing. No such thing as nonpartisan. $700 billion deficit. If you're crunching numbers, that's non-partisan. If you're getting your opinion on something, yeah, I see what you're saying. I also heard that Obama is going to have every American farting rainbows. Now, I don't know if that's true. I don't know if that's true. But I heard it. I heard that we'll all fart rainbows and skittles. Thank you. P1 Rude Dog. Hey, what's up, Mikey? What's up? Hey, I just wanted to wish Skye a happy early birthday. I share a birthday week with her. Mine was actually just on Saturday. Oh, happy birthday. Happy birthday. Yeah, and I wanted to add you a question about the Chargers. Uh-oh. What is your question?
Oh, I just want to know. It's like, you guys heard me a couple weeks ago. I'm actually a Raiders fan, but I've lived in San Diego all my life, and I follow the Chargers because of their local team. It's like, what is going on with them? That's a good question. That's a great question. A lot of things. They have been coming out flat, unprepared. They're not putting pressure on the quarterback. Their offensive line isn't opening holes for LT. LT is hurt. I can keep going on if you'd like. Is there anything good going on with him, Eddie? Oh, well, up until yesterday. Yeah, they look great. They look great. Rivers was playing great until yesterday. Okay, all right. Gave the game away. Oh. But other than that. Yeah, don't look good. Do you think they're still trying to live on the hype of the last two years? Because they had great two years over the past two seasons, but right now it's just not looking up for them. I don't know anymore. I used to think that, but I don't know anymore. I just don't think. that they're being coached very well, to be honest with you. I think they're coming out ill-prepared. I don't think they're coming out with a lot of fire in their bellies. And I think they may just come out and expect to win, but you've got to do more than expect to win. So, thank you. Anything else, folks, I'm leaving. Thanks, dude. That's all I got. Mikey? Mikey's here. Hey, what up? It's Peaches. Hey, what's up, Peaches? Me too.
Hi, guys. So, I have some suggestions for Jake Audio. All right. So, I think it would be absolutely hysterical and adorable if he were to learn... Oh, you're so right. That is hysterical. That's a great point. He was singing... What did she... My wife was teaching him Somewhere Over the Rainbow, which I thought was kind of cute, but at the same time, I'm like, boy, that's... Oh, no. You better not say what I think you're going to say. Little twinkle toes, you know? Little twinkle toes, you know? Mike! It's cute. He's a blue guy. I know, I know, but can't... He can sing girly songs if he wants. But can't we teach him, like, you know... He's a Monday Night Football. Yeah, you know? Yeah! Don't get me wrong, it was cute. It was super cute. It's cute to hear him sing anything, but Somewhere Over the Rainbow, I mean... Come on. Eliza Minnelli records after that, you know? Yeah. Leave him alone. Come on. All right. Thank you. You're very welcome. Have a good day. I like the suggestion. Mikey Show. Mikey, what's up? It's 300. What's up, 300? Not much. I'm just wondering, who's going to Boo Ball this year? Yeah, you guys going? Well, this year, Boo Ball is being hosted by Eddie and Boston Rob. It's a fact.
deal with it. It's our party and you're welcome to come. Kung Fu Chop! There it is, 300. I wonder if that was some indication as to what he's going to be dressed as. Well, we got a little something planned. You'll have to come out and see. I believe a lot of the Rock 105.3 DJs are going to be out there. Me and the Riz are the MCs of the night. There it is. Ladies and gentlemen, the lovely and talented Missy is coming up next. Today, how about some double shots on that nooner? Shawnee will do a meeting in about 30 minutes. We will see you back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show is out late.
