Three men have filed a lawsuit against Lindsay Lohan claiming that she kidnapped them back in 2007 when she was involved in a car chase. The World Series starts tonight. Cole Hamels throws for the Phillies against Scott Casimir for the Rays. First pitch is going to be 535. Desperate housewife Evan Longoria says he's ready for the World Series. This is what we come to spring training for. We wanted to make it to the playoffs. That was our goal. From every series on after that was... To win one game at a time. And now, you know, it's gotten us this far. So I think if we just try to keep it simple, you know, we're going to go a long way. How's Tony Parker? That's right. Just tell us. It looks like you have a baby bump. Welcome to the program. It's the Mikey Show. And what is today? Today's Wednesday. It's Wednesday. This guy, I don't think I'm, you know. She's mad that it wasn't the first words out of your mouth. Well, that is a good point, Eddie. I mean, we've been talking in here for like 75 years. Listen. Listen. Listen. I thought it might make a little sense to get on the air and, you know. Uh-huh. You know better. Shut up. Sky, happy birthday. My dear friend. My dear friend. Ladies and gentlemen, today is our girl Sky's birthday. Oh.
570-1053. And our text number is 35253. And happy birthday wishes are just as nice on the text as well. So if you want to hit us up, 35253. Our phone number, 570-1053. And she is not wearing her birthday suit. She's wearing a green t-shirt and a grandma sweater. I have it on underneath. I see. Here she is. Barely. Oh, hello. Yeah, it looks a little tight up top. Oh, wow. Okay, all right. Hello. And there it is. Yeah, so call us. And let me introduce everybody. There's seven people on the Mikey Show. It's myself. I'm the host. My name's Mike. I go by Mikey. And I'm 38 years old. What a quagmire. I know it. It's so true. This is a quagmire. I don't either. Eddie is our producer and sports guy and is 35 years of age, just gave the double salute. I think that should be the new touchdown thing. You know what I'm saying? After NFL players score a touchdown, they should put both hands up to their forehead and salute. If LT could get in the end zone, I'd tell him to do it. It's so true. Sorry. It's so true. Our birthday girl is Skye. Yeah, it's birthday.
She turns. Happy birthday. She is 31 years of age today. Oh, my goodness. Look at me. You're in your late 30s. 31 today. Over the hill. 31. It's half over. So I'm only living to 62? Sky, were you 21 or 22 when I met you? I think I was 21. I think you were, too. Yeah. Man. It's your anniversary. That's right. In 10 years. That's right. You should hug. We've never hugged. I don't think we've ever hugged. We have hugged many times. Sky, what is many? What would a person have to constitute many? I don't know. More than one, Mike. At least five. We have never. Yes. I do not recall this. Yes, there's been. The time I got a raise and uncontrollably hugged you. Well, I'm talking everyone. I mean, we're being honest. The time I bailed you out. Let's see. Shawnee, oh boy. What? Look at Pumpkin in the background. That's it. Pumpkin's in the background. It's his pumpkin-colored sweatshirt. Yeah.
Who is that guy? I know it. He's a cutie. He changes every day. No, I don't like it. Seriously. 38? He's 6'3"? Yeah. He's a big guy. Don't do that, dude. Whoa. He's, listen. He's very harsh, yet very sensitive. That's our boy, Shani. That's the thing about him. He can, his, yeah. It's not. His words can be very harsh, yet he. Easily irritated. It's like salt and pepper. That's right. Oh, my. That's right. Ashley is our assistant producer, and she's 25 years old. I like the hair today. What did you do with the hair? What did you do with the hair today? Yeah, well, last night, I got out of the shower, and then I had plans, and it was like I didn't have time to do anything with my hair, so I just let it air dry, and then I went to bed, because by the time I was done doing what I was doing, it was like 8, so I was like...
Good night. So when you got up this morning, what did you do to it? So I just curled a little bit of the top that had kind of like the curls had kind of faded, and then I just left it and just put a little hairspray. I don't know about you guys. I think it looks really nice today. Perfect. Really? You've got a new hairstyle, lady. Really? We'll take a picture of her and put it on the website so you can see what we're talking about. Awesome. And then there is Austin Robb. Hey. Yeah. Oh. Look at that guy. He is not. wearing any kind of Red Sox t-shirt or jersey or sweatshirt. I know he's got that. He's moved on. Yeah, he's got the baseball cap. Have you seen the other thing? No. My Celtics jacket? He's got a Celtics jacket. Okay. All right. Why not? It looks like a reversible Celtics jacket. So you could wear it inside or out. Those are the coolest. Thank you. Those are the best. I love it. There he is. He's just wearing a t-shirt today, though. I'm trying to wean myself off. That's going to be tough. Yeah. Take it slow, buddy. Boston Rob has a new song, and it's called Wicked Lame. Oh, boy. Yeah! And basically what it is is it's a guy that's a little bitter about what happened with his Red Sox. Not bitter. And he doesn't have a lot of appreciation for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. None at all. None at all. No appreciation for them.
Even though they're starting the World Series tonight. That's exciting. All six people. I hope they have fun. Awesome. So this song is all about them. I'm going to watch. I'm surprised, Eddie. No. Why? Well, I thought you said that you thought this was going to be like the least watched or something. Well, I do think that the ratings are going to be very low for these two teams because it's not. a major market city. But, you know, I really like both of these teams. I mean, the Rays are an exciting team to watch. They're young and exciting, and they're going to be good for years to come. And Philly, you know, has Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, and Cole Hamels. A lot of good guys. So, I mean, I think it's going to be a competitive series, and I've got to say, I've got to pull in for the Rays. We are not friends. No, don't be like that. Don't be like this. There's Rob's new song. And then finally, there is the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, M.D., DDS, President, and CEO. As seen on TV. Thank you. There he is. There he is. He's a tall guy.
He's a tall guy. I felt so bad yesterday. I cracked a joke about him, and I felt bad, and I knew he was irritating. Was it a funny one? Did I miss it? Was it funny? I was a jerk. I'm sorry, dude. Tell it again. I was a jerk. Was it funny? And he made me feel super bad. What happened? Tell us everything. Yeah, I want to hear the joke. He's always crying. His cell phone rang, and the ringtone, you know, was like, it was a normal song, but I made it into like a, You know, like it was super feminine or something. Which it really wasn't, but I made it like that. And then so Rob's in the back seat and he picks up on it. And of course, Rob is like, now Rob's going, if I could turn back time. I was in the car with Mike. Rob and Microsoft from upstairs. So how bad did I get it for like 20 minutes? It was bad. That sounds awful. You're gay. Hey, this is Jeff. 15 minutes. Do the beep thing. Toodles.
Wow, you guys are messed up. So, Seth basically takes. That is horrible. Oh, that is really bad. I wish he was there. Dude, if Eddie had been there. He would not have participated. Seth would have jumped out that window. Yes. I would have said, Seth. Well, the car was moving. I appreciate your choice in music. And I don't know why these gentlemen are making fun of you. Because I don't believe making fun of people is a type of humor that I find funny. It sits beneath you. It is. It really is. Yeah, you're better than that. So, Seth. Seth goes, it's a Christian band, Mike. Anyway. And so I'm like instantly, you know, the wheels come out for me. Wow. Right in the jugular. I bet it wasn't even really. I'm like, I'm having a good time, but that wasn't cool. And so now I'm just shutting my mouth. And Rob keeps bringing it back. Like he won't. Of course. He won't let it stop. I hope you dance. Such a jerk. Such a jerk. Man, I feel like a woman.
He won't let it end. He won't let it end. I am not gay. I never have been gay. And so I go, all right, dude, all right. And Rob goes, hey, you started it. I'm like, okay. Baby, I'm amazed by you. This is going to be fun. Yes. Yes. I'm all in on this. Yeah, you are. 5701053 is our number. And our text number is 35253. So you give us a call or you could text us. It's up to you. And we had to get back. Yesterday was a long day. We had an all staff meeting yesterday. And so we get here and we roll into this meeting at one o'clock in the afternoon, which we get up at like one. Yeah, pretty much. We get up early. And so we roll into this meeting and it's well, it's packed. It's this giant conference room and it's packed. It's packed. And like there were people sitting on the floor. Oh, yeah. And.
It was this, you know, meeting to teach us about this new stuff. And we're like learning about this stuff. And it only took about 20 minutes for the text messages to start within the room. You're clowns. You're all clowns. You get fidgety instantly. It just was funny to me because all the girls that I was texting, like either on the show, both, you know, Sky and Ashley. And also our program director, Shauna. I was so annoyed because the girls are responsible and don't bring their cell phones into the meeting. We were actually paying attention to the meeting. It's this crazy concept. But every guy on the show, Eddie wasn't there. But Rob and Seth, and obviously Shauna's not there because he's up in the Bay Area. are just texting ridiculousness. Oh, yeah, and I'm watching it all unfold. Like, I see you shooting looks to Rob, and we're all looking at Seth, and then everyone's laughing and holding their little crackberry. I was pretending to sneeze. Yeah, clowns. It's ridiculous. We're all clowns. Ridiculous. 570-1053. I did get your text later on, though, Mike, that you sent me. You did. Yeah, that said, do you think this guy can read the news?
Yeah, that's great. I didn't understand, Sky, because I got it later in the afternoon, and then the meeting was over. Yeah, the guy that was giving the meeting was a pretty dynamic guy. Chuckles? Yes. Chuckles? And so I asked him, I wonder if this guy can read the news. I know, that's a good one, Mike. He's a nice man. That was a pretty good one. That's a fine joke. I heard he was in a Christian band. Oh, great. Oh, look, the phone's ringing. Wow. It's raining men. Hallelujah. It's funny how Rob knows all those songs. Yeah, he does, right? I hang out with Zep a lot. His phone's always ringing. Amazing how many songs you can download. I like to play the leaders. Thank you. Baker's doesn't. I'm not even halfway there. I like to play the leaders. Thank you. Thank you, Zep.
Sky. Sky jumping in. That's the worst. That's the worst. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's like the fork. Yeah. That's the fork. Like Zed could take it, you know. But not Sky. Sky, no. Not Sky. All I said was thank you. We know what you were doing. She waited for everyone else to be quiet. P1 Steve. Hey, tell everybody what a P1 is, Steve. Good morning, Mikey Show. I think it will only be appropriate that we start this morning off with a toast. Hey, Steve, Steve, Steve, before we do, I need you to tell everybody that's new what a P1 is, okay? A P1 is somebody who calls in and says, Mikey Show listens exclusively, gets straight to the point, doesn't cuss, and turns other people on to Mikey Show. Nice. Go ahead, dude. I'd like to propose a toast to Scott and just say, may your day be filled with honey glaze. Happy birthday to you. Everybody raise a glass. Here, here. Thank you. Here, here. Here, here. To Skye. Thank you. This text message says, Hammy birthday to Ski. Hope your day is filled with ham and manservants. That's P1. This isn't what I was hoping for. P1 Porker texts and says, Did Skye get 31 hams? This one says, Happy birthday, Skye. And then a question. Birthday ham tonight?
That's P1 Monkey. Duh. This one says, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear. Beating. That's ridiculous. That is the stupidest thing. That happened. Happy birthday to you. Have a ham-tastic birthday, O. That's P1 Lemon. Not ham's good. Sounds good. This next one says, O Skiba Dee, you swam away with my heart. Oh. It says, happy birthday, P1 Phelps fan. It's very nice. And he spelled it, when he spelled Phelps fan, he spelled it P-H-A-N. So he may be Vietnamese. Oh. We don't know. That's true. P1 scene. We have to have honey baked. Thank you. Hey, good morning, guys. What's up? Hey, I just wanted to know if I could sing Sky a little happy birthday song. Oh, yeah. Well, of course. Oh, Sky, you rule.
Here, take my hand, because it's making you drool. Love you, Skye. Happy birthday. This is really nice. So sweet. That was pretty, Skye. That was a short parody song. More of those. No more. We're good. Just stick to standard happy birthday. We're fine. Skye, what are you going to do for your birthday? I don't know. You do, too. I do not. You really don't? I do not. Are you going to go out to dinner? I don't know. Discussed it yesterday and did not come to any sort of conclusion. You got a kind of plan? Like, hey, we'll just play it by ear? Well, I would like to enjoy the ocean today. Nice. I would like to look at it and maybe walk by it. Very reflective on your day. Yes, maybe see some dolphins frolic in the distance. Nice. But I would also like to... Now, are you going to do that with your hub or alone? With the hub. Hopefully, yes. That would be ideal. And then I would like to enjoy a lovely dinner. I would prefer to eat the delicious samplings of the Outback Steakhouse. Oh, you love the Outback Steakhouse. But part of me would like to go somewhere pretty with a view. Maybe somewhere near the water. And there is no Outback on the water. Yeah, I know. The closest one to have honey baked is Oceanside. Now let me ask you a question. Yes, sir.
You know how you're kind of controlling? Yeah, kind of, yes. Would you not like it if he just surprised you and had like a birthday dinner ready to go for you? Like the plans and everything? I would love that. You would? I would love that. Even though you didn't have any say in it and no control over what you were doing? Right. Okay. Because that would be different. I mean, I don't know if I could go for that every year, but yeah. You can go for it one year. Yeah, I could give it a shot. Would that shock you? Oh, please. You should do an Outback picnic. Yeah. Order out from Outback and take it to the beach. That's a great idea, Robert. What about that? I would hate that. She loves the atmosphere of Outback. She can't. Yeah. The boomerangs on the walls. Yeah. We'll see what happens. The World Series is on tonight. I'm sure she wants to catch that. What? Wait, World Series doesn't start until 5.35 and you usually go about, what, 4? That's right. 5.35. The early bird special. They got to get the early bird special. You'll be fine. All right. Let's all calm down. So I'm not sure. We'll see. Something nice. If you wear that sweater, you get even more off. Oh, yeah. Hello. Shut up. It's my birthday. Yeah, let's go to lunch. Be cool. Oh, man, would you like the senior menu?
Shut up. I can tell by your shorts. Bernie, we got a 20 percenter here. 5701053. Do they do a birthday song at Outback? I don't know. I never tell them it's my birthday. You know how, yeah, because like at all the garden birthday. Ash, you got some birthdays that you used to have to. Did you have like a birthday song at Joe's Crab Shack or something? At Joe's Crab Shack? It's like. It's like a spectacle. We make a spectacle of them. We'll either make them do a hula hoop while we sing to them or we'll make them ride a pony around the restaurant while we sing to them. A pony? Yeah, ride a pony. In the kitchen? Not a live pony. What a pleasurable experience. Tastes like horse. Do you remember any of the songs? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on. Let's hear a little bit of it. Yeah, come on. I don't remember. Yeah, right? A lot of clapping going on. Or he's a jolly good friend. No, that's... I remember that on a birthday. They do that at some place in PB. Yeah, I was at a different place. Maybe I'm confused. 570-1053 is our phone number. And you can call us right now about whatever you want. Someone... Now, man, that's not... I was going to give you...
I was going to give you a pretty good question right now, like a pretty good little trivia question, but it was about who's been suspended in the NFL, and that could be any number of guys at any given time. So instead, I will ask you the following. And this is a news story. This is just stuff that is in the news. Who's famous person? This is a famous person. What famous person? His trial was just declared a mistrial. What famous person's trial was just declared a mistrial. And it happened yesterday, Sky, that they declared it a mistrial? Yep. So 570-1053, if you know the answer to that. Eddie, what do we have as a prize? Oh, we got tickets to that gladiator challenge MMA fight up at Palma. Nice. That's pretty cool. Yeah, if you know whose trial was declared a mistrial yesterday, call us at 570. 105.3. Well, I'll tell you who it isn't. Yeah. That's true. Thanks a lot. That's right. Way to go. Non-black jury. I agree. Don't point fingers. Be accountable. Whatever. Hear, hear. Yeah. I got to get to the chow line so there was no mistrial. I need a sidebar. That's right. If Johnny Cochran was still here, he'd have got me off. That's for sure. Let it go.
Fine, I'll just read. P1 Sean is on the line. Who do you think it was? I think it might have been Phil Spector. That is incorrect, sir. I'm sorry, it was not Phil Spector. P1 Linda, who do you think it was? Britney Spears. You are correct. Britney Spears, yeah, her trial got declared a mistrial. Yeah, it was this whole driving without a valid California license thing, which is strange that that even went to, like, a jury trial. I don't know. You know, her lawyer from the beginning has been saying, yeah, that's weird. Who goes to a jury trial for driving without a valid license? But anyway, so the jury, yeah, after a couple days of deliberation, couldn't figure it out. They couldn't come to a unanimous verdict. It was 10 to 2 in favor of Brittany. You know, two people thought Brittany was guilty. Ten thought that she was all good. But still, it has to be unanimous. So the judge declared it a mistrial. Prosecutors say they will not pursue the charges again. So thank you for wasting all our taxpayer money. Hey, Mikey. Yeah. I wanted to share. I think that George guy, when he was on like a week or two, he was talking about gas probably going down under $3 a gallon. Our money guy, George Chamberlain.
Yeah, well, there's a place out on Lakeside right now that's selling 87 octane, so I think that's the low-grade unleaded for $2.87 a gallon. What? There it is. Notice it's almost election time. Anybody? Yeah. Pink Nudge Nudge. Exactly. I heard that it was McCain that actually lowered the gas. That's what I heard, too. That's what I heard. He dug up some of his dinosaur friends. Wow. Not bad. Hang on the line, Linda. That's what I thought. You are a winner. Whatever word it is. McCain. My friend Josiah's birthday's today, too. He's probably listening. Josiah, happy birthday to you, too. Happy birthday. Awesome. Joanna does not share her birthday. She is very upset. That's true. Yeah, I don't care for your friend. Oh, wow, man. Well, I'm just saying, today is my day. Wow. But you guys are both born today. It's my day. You both have a birthday. How about you get half the day? Skye, how about you get 99.9% of the day? And 0.1%, I'll just say.
Happy birthday, Josiah. How about he gets tomorrow? Oh, man. And say, hey, yesterday was my friend Josiah's birthday. I just want to say happy belated, bro. There we go. Thank you. I hope you had a good time, man. And we'll see you next 23rd. Yes. Let's see. What else? Hey, did you guys know that there's a new GNR song getting released to radio this morning? Come on. Is that true? Yeah. They released a little snippet of it yesterday, but they say it's supposed to be released to radio this morning. What time? It doesn't say. I wonder if we will get it. Yeah, I don't know if we can already request it or not. What do you think, Ash? You know how to do that, right? Yeah, what's it called? It's called Better Late Than Never. September rain. Shut up. Am I tripping out? Why am I not seeing the name in this story? I don't know. Because you're tripping out. Because you're tripping out. One full decade after an official new Guns N' Roses song was last released, the band has sent the title track. Okay, Chinese Democracy title track. Oh. Chinese Democracy. There it is. Wow. And now you know. So do you think... Hey, it's Zep. Hello. You're such a jerk.
He's such a jerk. Last one. Last one. Last one. Yeah, right. Last one. There will be no more this morning. In all honesty, this is a Christian band. 5701053 is a phone number. Do not, do not. text in ideas. You're such a jerk. You're such a jerk. Just because you're the text master, you're the guy that controls the text, dude. But I'm saying not to. Don't call in and make fun of the Red Sox. Whatever you do. The season's over. That's fine. Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. B-Rob's song, Wicked Lame, is going to be coming up here in just a bit. And also, Brandon Vera. He's stopping in the studio today. Oh, he's calling? Yeah. Oh, he's calling. Hollering at us. He's hollering at us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Brandon Vera. He lost this weekend, UFC, and he's a friend of the show. So he's going to call us and tell us, give us his perspective on being in there. And also, we were wondering, like, what does this mean for him? Like, where now? Where's he going to? He didn't stay in London, wants the Chargers. Yeah, yeah. He was in London. That's right.
What else? We got a little lyrical gangsta to play today. We got the YouTube clip of the day, which is pretty funny. And we got your phone calls at 570-1053. Mitch Hedberg in the stand-up spotlight. I can't tell you what hotel I'm staying at, but there are two trees involved. They said, let's call this hotel something tree. So they had a meeting. It was quite short. How about tree? No, double tree. Hell yeah. Meeting adjourned. I had my heart set on quadruple tree. Well, we were almost there. What's a P1? P1 is someone that turns down their radio, they get to the point, they don't cuss, and they listen to The Mikey Show exclusively. That is correct. I'm of the P1 Army. The Mikey Show.

Welcome back to Mikey's Show 641. There's a red flag warning in effect starting today at 11 a.m. through Friday night. That means a high risk of wildfire. Kobe Bryant hyperextended his knee in the Lakers exhibition game here last night in San Diego. Phil Jackson talks about Kobe's injury. You know, I didn't even ask him about the injury. I thought he got banged in the shin, but, you know, the trainer said he hyperextended his knee somewhat, so he just took him out for the night. Hmm. That is a trip, man. We're going to see how that works out. 570-1053. Our text number is 35253 if you want to text us. Today is our girl Sky's birthday. Oh. She is celebrating birthday number 31 today. Big deal. That's right. Big time. Big time. Big time. Big time. Big deal. Big time. Big deal. Big time. Big deal? Mm-hmm. Yeah, big time. We did a little celebration with Sky on Saturday. Yeah. So we're good. That was fun. That was fun. It was. It was fun. Yeah. And Skye is thinking that she may be doing a little outback. Maybe. Maybe. We'll see. We'll have to wait and see. Yeah. You should. You're worth it. Thank you. Mm-hmm. Let's see. Eddie woke up at 1 o'clock in the morning with the worst leg cramp he's ever had. Dude. What the heck? I don't know what's going on, but it still hurts. Like, you know, that inner?
like, bruise or whatever, you know, after you get, like, cramp. Yeah. It kills, like, right now still. I don't know what the heck. Was it, like, a horse's, um, leg? Eddie, was it? Was it? No, a horse's leg. Well, it's weird because my trainer came in and shot me. Oh, no. It may be a horse's leg. It must have been. Oh, that is funny. Charlie Horse is what I meant. Oh. Yes. No, it was not a Charlie horse. It wasn't? No. But a horsey horse. Was it like a horsey horse? No, it wasn't. A unicorn leg? Yeah. A unicorn leg. Let's see. Shauna, our program director, just sent me some sort of a link for the Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy. Oh, link it up. Spam the web, dude. I hope that... I don't have to type in some special thing. Well, I ordered it, so we'll have it no matter what. Okay, cool. Momentarily. That's cool. Now, the thing that I don't understand is the only thing about it that is Guns N' Roses, I'm guessing, is Axl Rose, right? Correct. Nobody else in this thing has anything to do with Guns N' Roses, right? Nope. Whenever I think of Guns N' Roses, I definitely think of Axl Rose, but...
I mean, it's like you think Axl Rose, you think Slash. For sure. You know? I mean, it's those guitar sounds that also make G&R G&R. Right. You know? So, I mean, do you guys think that what he did, because David Lee Roth did this. David Lee Roth went solo, and he tried to, well, first of all, he got the same producer that had produced the other albums from Van Halen. Uh, his guy by the name of Ted Templeman and what he did and Ted Templeman knew all the different effects that they put on Eddie's guitar. So they got a guy that was really good at guitar and they put all the same effects, use the same microphones, the same amplifiers, the same everything to recreate that sound. And then they just had a guy try to, but guy couldn't play like Eddie Van Halen. And so I'm wondering, are they going to try to make the Guns N' Roses Slash signature sound come out of those speakers, but just have a new guy playing it? Is that what it's going to be like? I don't know. The last I had heard, it was that guy Buckethead. That's who produced it? He was the guitarist. And he doesn't sound like Slash. So I don't know.
But they've been working on the album for 15 years. Honestly, does anybody know? Is it actually 15? Or how long is it actually? I think it's in double digits. I think it's at least 10. Because I remember a couple years ago, everyone was talking about how it's been 13 years. Oh, really? So, yeah. So, I think we're at least in like 14, 15 years. That is so crazy. Yeah. Now, could anything possibly live up to that? Could anything live up to a 15-year wait? I mean, unless it's like the next coming of appetite, you know, there's just no way, which it's not going to be. Of course not. Yeah. Well, Ashley, do we have it? Oh, hello. Yeah, front page, top right and gray. You know, is it clean? I don't know. When I loaded it, they said the only cuss word was hell. Well. It says, as I put my cursor over it, it says Chinese democracy, lyrics, exclamation point, content. Right. And it tells me what the lyric content is when I ordered the song and it said it was hell. That's it? That's what it said. I... Chinese democracy. I just want to hear what it sounds like. I want to play the whole thing. Unless it rocks. Unless it just totally jams. Floyd? I kind of dig this.
Are you on drugs? Just a couple. But you can hear the Chinese democracy in the background. Yeah, it really does sound like they got a Chinese democracy to record it. Don't zip for a second. Is that Flounder? They have definitely reproduced Slash's sound. What actually comes out, like me, if I grabbed his guitar and took the thing and went, same sound. I just can't play like him. I was so in with all the music, and then when it started to build, I was like, this could actually be good. And as soon as Axl opened his mouth. Now, it doesn't sound just like GNR to you? No, that's all effect. I mean, it's his voice. On his voice, you mean? Yeah. Bob's trying to sell it to Eddie by dancing and getting into it. He's like a music rebel.
You know, as a matter of fact, listen, if somebody said this to me, if somebody said, did you know GNR got back, Slash, everybody, same exact band, like they all got back together and they played this, I wouldn't be like, wait a second. Me. Musically, I agree with you. Oh, yeah, 100%. But as soon as I would be like, who'd they get for lead singer? Yeah, what's Axl's grandpa doing? Oh, wow. His voice is gone. It's gone. I like it when people... 18 years for that. ...democracy will allegedly be released. exclusively through Best Buy starting November 23rd. Yeah, well, if it doesn't, Dr. Pepper, honestly, they said that they would buy, they'd give everybody in the country a Dr. Pepper. If it's not out by the end of the year, they said everyone will get like a coupon or something for a free Dr. Pepper. Yeah. What do you think about that? Awesome. That was the new Guns N' Roses. It was called the Chinese at the Marketplace. Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 570.
105.3. When we come back, don't go away. When we come back, I am going to tell you who is going to sing the national anthem before game one of the World Series. Oh, no. Well, it's obviously in keeping with the demographic that watches baseball, right? I mean, who watches baseball? Who's the audience for baseball, really? Young men. Young men. All right, well, wait till I tell you who's going to be singing the national anthem before game one of the World Series. That's coming up. Dear people of the world, the Mikey Show is on. But at what cost? At what cost? This is The Rock. If there's one thing I know about women is they love to decorate. They love it. It's in their blood. They love when it's holiday time to put up all those crazy decorations. And my wife is no different.
She absolutely loves it. And one of the things that adds to her decorating ensemble is flowers from Pro Flowers. And for this Halloween season, I am getting her this awesome bouquet. It's called the Pumpkin Spice Bouquet. And what is that? It is nine orange roses and 20 orange carnations for just $39.99. She's going to flip out when she gets that just because it's something that she can throw in amongst her Halloween decorations that she's just going to get a kick out of. And there is no better time to send flowers than for really no reason. Thank you. I mean, that is the best time to do it. Like, Skye, you should get flowers on your birthday. No question about it. Valentine's Day, those Mother's Days, those kind of things. No question. But if you got flowers for just like, oh, yeah, I wanted to get you these to decorate with, you'd freak. Absolutely. She just told me to tell her real quick. All right. Skye, to the coolest news girl ever, please don't read this book at a bar or cops will think you're trolling for John. Happy birthday, P1 Bass String. Yes.
Sweet. So true. When we were in New Orleans. People know the story. Oh, no, they don't. I'm unfamiliar with this story. Come on. When we were in New Orleans for a radio convention, Sky, we were staying at Harrah's, well, we were staying at this place, and across the street was Harrah's Rincon, or no. Harrah's New Orleans. Harrah's New Orleans. Across the street was a casino, Harrah's. Yeah. All right? Sky. during some of our off time at the convention, went over there and was reading a book. I had gambled away all my money. I didn't go over there to read. She went over there to gamble. She ran out of money. She went to the bar to get a glass of wine. She was sitting there reading a book at the bar. And she looked sexy. Oh, yeah, baby. Yeah, we had a dinner later that evening. Yeah. Okay. Sexy dinner. Stop it. Well, she looked so sexy that security at Harrah's escorted her to the door and told her that she's not allowed to work there that night. That's right. Our little hooker. I'm not a hooker. For sure. I'm not a hooker. I just, I didn't know that reading a book in a bar was like a code or something. She was reading hooking for dummies.
That was part of why they did what they did. That was part of why. Before we went to break, I told you that we were going to tell you who's going to be singing the national anthem. No. Before game one of the World Series. Do you already know, Rob? Well, no, but I can only imagine. You can tell by your tone. Yeah. Who do you guys think would be appropriate? Ooh. Carrie Underwood, maybe? Well, appropriate. Where are they playing game one? It's in Philly, I think. Yeah, yeah. So, uh, Boyz II Men. Oh! That would be really cool. Nice! They're from Philly. Are they still a band? Yes! How dare you! How dare you! Well, that is not who they decided on. That is not who they decided on. They decided on this band. Joey Fatlin? Are they still a band? It's the Backstreet Boys. It's the Backstreet Boys. Who made the decision? Idiot. What the heck? I mean, come on, man. Let's play some bass. I don't understand. Stretch it out, everybody. That's brutal. The thing that is so hard to understand about it is that you want for your audience, you would think, to be sort of familiar.
With the work, you know, of said group. Like, I think most Americans have heard on the radio, they've heard the Boys to Men. Yeah, familiar. Boys to Men, you know, they're familiar with it. But the Backstreet Boys, I don't know that a lot of the guys watching have their albums. Dude, they're going to get booed. In Philadelphia? Oh, no. They're going to get booed. It's Philly. They will get booed, I guarantee it. Oh, I might have to watch now just for that. Well, I don't know if this is right or not because this isn't the sports page, but it says the Tampa Bay Rays host the Phillies. Is it? I don't know. I thought it was the Phillies. Yeah. Doesn't the AL have, didn't they win the All-Star game so they get home field? Yeah, I don't remember. But they'll still get booed. Let me check. Even if they are in Tampa Bay. Well, if they were in Philly, there's no doubt. Oh, they'd get set on fire. Yeah. Molotov cocktails would be thrown from the stands. Where is it? It is Tampa. I bet they still might get it. Oh, please. Tampa fans are all old people. They're going to be singing and dancing. Yeah, you are my fire. This is my favorite band. Do you realize the new kids are from Boston, right? Dude, they're badass. Okay. Just checking. Oh, say can you see me?
Yikes. Awesome. Game one starts tonight. This I thought was a pretty interesting call. Oh, wait a minute. You know what? What? Before I do that, yesterday we premiered Boston Rob's new song. Oh, mama. Oh, mama. Oh, mama. But I think it should get a little bit more airplay. Yeah, sure. It was good. More spins. Yeah, Boston Rob was really upset. Speaking of baseball, he was really upset. Devastated. Yeah, he's devastated. Still out. that his Red Sox didn't make it to the World Series. Poor little guy. And instead, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays are going to be representing the American League. That was really upsetting to him. He said he wrote a song called Wicked Lame to the tune of Wicked Game by Chris Isaac. Enjoy the guitar work here? That's just Guns N' Roses? Yes. It's a guy from Buckethead playing guitar there.
Some people say that I might have a screw. Just like Chris Isaac. So good. And my lucky jersey smells like an old man's shoe. Even this song smells like cigarettes. Drunk, drinking, boo. Rob dancing to his own song. It is ridiculous. It's ridiculous. Give it a chance, guys. Give it a chance. Thank you. I'm sure the second verse will be good. Yeah, you know, I don't know about playing it again. Yeah. Or ever again. But there it was, you know. That was B-Rob's new song. It's called Wicked Lame. And you can text us at 35253. You can call us at 570-1053. I'm going to ask you. Thank you. Brandon Vera is going to be on the show today. And when we come back, I am going to tell you. What is this song?

Prop 8 has nothing to do with schools or kids. Our schools aren't required to teach anything about marriage, says our school superintendent. And using kids to lie about that is shameful. What Prop 8 is really about is eliminating fundamental rights. The League of Women Voters calls it a major threat to our basic constitutional rights. That's why California teachers say no on 8. Our laws should treat everyone equally.
All eight major California newspapers agree. Regardless of how you feel about marriage, it's wrong to eliminate fundamental rights. No on 8. It's unfair, unnecessary, and wrong. Paid for by No on 8. And I just, I had a clipboard in my hand. I was writing down notes on Amco. And I flat out asked him, I was like, hey, how long you been a customer? He said something like 15 years. And I wanted to know what kept him coming back for 15 years. And he said, because before when he would take it to the dealership, they were always trying to get more money out of him. So he goes to Amco. You should, too. They are Amco. They're double A. Beep, beep. MCO. Why would you take it anywhere else? Ford F-150. Tough. Strong. Built for San Diego. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo says he is out for this week's game and maybe longer than that. Before we went to break, I said that there is a California city that is looking to decriminalize prostitution. What city, Sky? Gilroy. No, it is not Gilroy. Surprisingly not. Lake Havasu. San Francisco. Oh, wow. Oh, yeah.
This is making national news today about Prop K up in San Francisco. Who put it up? I don't know how to say it. Whose idea was it? Proposed it? I don't know. Thank you, Rob. Such a simple word. The people who are in support of it are talking about how it will free... a free police up to focus on other crime. It'll save about $11 million annually to the police department for not having to deal with these crimes and prosecute and spend time on this. Yeah, I mean, forget the fact that it'll, you know, increase disease and other things in the town and is overall just... In San Francisco, really? Yeah. But Mike, a girl will finally be able to finish a good book. Wow. I could finally get chopped to 14 and 15. All right. So Berkeley tried this in 2004, and about two-thirds of the voters there said, no, I don't think so. Oh, wow.
San Francisco is known to be, you know, a little bit more. Weird. Fruity. Wow, man. We'll see what happens next month. And, you know, let me tell you, the other thing that is so gnarly about that is that you would have a lot of people going there for that reason. Yeah. Which would just be creepy and, oh, man. Our phone number, 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. Sean drinks the most hideous things. What are you drinking? What did I just see you put up to your mouth? Well, first of all, we know that he drinks Calpico, which is this. He goes to Asian markets to get Calpico. Well, it's really good. Yeah, it's probably right next to Mudfish. No, no. Durian. It's a sweet drink. It's very good. It's kind of a milky soy drink. And it's really good. What is it?
What is this current thing? Yes, what are you drinking right now? Well, this is another delicious drink, Mike. You can find it at most 7-Elevens, in fact. And it's called, it's a yogurt drink. It's drinkable yogurt, Mike. Oh, I've had that. Yeah, and it's made in Mexico, and it's really good. Oh, come on. It's a tasty libation. He's drinking a Mexican drinkable yogurt. That's so foul. Drinkable yogurt? They don't have the same rules that we do in America. That's true. Pasteurizing. Pasteurizing. That's right. It's delicious and 100% safe. Yes, you're drinking fertilizer. Except even the plants would hold their nose. That's so gross. I would suggest the mango flavor. It's really good. Well, thank you for the suggestion. The only thing worse... Then drinkable Mexican yogurt is mango-flavored drinkable Mexican yogurt. No. How is it that the resident germaphobe on the show drinks Mexican yogurt? I don't understand that. Look, it's good. I can't help it if it's good. And you know how yogurt has that sort of gross tanginess to it? Yeah.
I'm sure that's the Mexican hairnet that was mixed in. Yes, it is. I don't think so. That's right. You got a little Lupe in there. Lupe Tang. That's right. Let's see. P1 Kim is on the line. What's up, Kim? Hey, how are you guys? Good. Good. Well, I just have this little dilemma. I just wanted to ask you guys kind of a question. I've been dating this guy. You know, I've gone out with him twice, okay? Not really dating, dating, but anyway. He has a really bad cold, and I wanted to put this goodie bag together for him with homemade soup and all that stuff because he's sick. Yeah. He has a really bad cold. Yeah. And a lot of my friends are saying that it's too much. And I've been kind of known to go a little overboard with guys in relationships before, and I just don't think this is going overboard because he's sick. And I just want to know what I should do. I think it's nice to do. It is, right? Yeah, I think it's nice. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. I may be in the minority here. What's going on? I'm just singing to myself. I don't think so. Thoughts, feelings, you guys, everybody on the show. I want to hear from everyone on this. They've gone out two times? Yeah. Yeah. And the dates were good? Yeah, they were really good. Yeah, you guys talk in between the?
The dates? Yeah. Yeah, how's the vibe? It's good. I mean, I don't know. Does he call you and you guys text or anything? Yeah, I mean, not all the time, but yeah, when things come up and we just kind of chat. I mean, we're kind of building a friendship. Okay, question, question, question. What? Are you the only one that reaches out to him or does he reach out to you too and is it equal? Oh, that's a good question. That's what it's about, I think. Yeah, that's a huge sign. Because if he's not that into it and she shows up with a goodie bag, dude, good night. He's the one leading, like asking me out. Yeah, so he likes you. But not like giving little gifts or anything. I think you're totally fine. Really? If he's calling you and he's reaching out to you, in fact, if he's the one that's doing it more, I'm down. I think you're fine.
I don't know. Eddie's. I don't know. Eddie, what are you thinking? Boy, well, here's the thing that scared me. Is her saying that she's been known to go overboard in the past. I would like to know, A, what that means. And B, that really gives me the heebie-jeebies like she's starting to get those, you know. Like, I want to do stuff for him. And that's a turnoff for some guys. Kim? Yeah? What does it mean when you say you've gone overboard in the past? Well, I've kind of not... My friends say that I've sometimes smothered a guy. And, you know, just kind of give him too much or be around too much. I don't know. I'm a nice person. Can you give me an example? Well, I mean, I just... Okay, this one guy I was dating, I would make a reason to go see him almost every day. Oh, no. Let me tell you something. 150,000 men listening right now just puckered their tush. I would call and talk to them a lot. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that. If you're getting to know someone or dating someone, you want to spend time with them all the time. Sometimes they don't.
Want to. Every day. Every day. You know, sometimes. Only in a serious relationship. So you're in it? Kind of a serious relationship. Yeah. Well, here's what I think. I think that going over every day, you know, I think it's always you got to feel out what the situation is with the other person if you're getting the same vibe. And, you know, if you're getting the same vibe, you're good to go. I think that what you're doing right now is nice. Okay. But if you were to take it further like you used to, like what I'm hearing. If she has a history of it, maybe she should chill out and just be like. Nothing wrong with that. You know, just check on him, see if he's feeling okay. And have the whole goodie bag maybe later on in the relationship. There's certainly nothing wrong with not doing it. What about making the next time he calls her. If he's still under the weather, she makes an offer. Like, hey, can I bring you anything? A dead rabbit. No, not a dead rabbit. Boil a rabbit in your kitchen? No, like some soup or some DVDs. Or maybe I could just hang outside your house and look you through a window. Maybe I'd come over every day. I don't do that. I'm sure you don't. Like, no, that's okay. You don't have to.
No, I think a guy is capable of saying, yeah, that would be really nice, right? Or no, am I tripping, guys? No, personally, I think that people are in a position where when somebody's offering to do something really nice, you kind of feel weird going, no, I'm good. Your natural tendency when somebody's trying to do something nice is, yeah, yeah, you know. But that being said, I am totally on board with you've gone on two dates with a guy. He's the one that seems to be initiating contact and communication. You guys have gone on two dates and you want to take him some soup. I'm totally on board with that. At the same time, I think that what Eddie's saying is perfectly reasonable. Like, hey, listen, you know, you do have a history of kind of pouring it on a little strong. Certainly, you can't go wrong by kicking back and not taking over soup. You know, you can't go wrong that way. But I think there's probably a lot of guys listening right now that are going, oh, man. Like, I've dated this particular girl. You know, not you. Actually, you. But I've dated that girl before, you know. And maybe it's a little too much. But P1 Rock and Roll is on the line. P1 Rock and Roll, are you there? Yes, sir.
What did you want to say? I just want to talk about what's going on. Yeah, go ahead. You're on the air, bro. No. Oh, hey. Sorry about that. Hey, I just want to say that everybody do what you want until somebody says something about it. As long as you know it's not evil, be badass. That should be on a t-shirt. Yeah. That's really moving. If somebody says something's bad, it's badass. There's good, there's evil, and badass, and that's it. That is a very interesting take. That's exactly what I was thinking. P1 Kim, you heard it. It's going to be printed on a t-shirt before the day is over. You inspired it. There you go. 5701053 and our text number is 35253. Ashley, this is what I know about you. You're not the jealous type or anything like that. You're not a clingy chick. What do you think about this girl? taking over soup after a couple dates. I think that she, it's just really tricky. Like, she just needs to vibe him out. Like, it's exactly what you said. If it's clear that he is into her and he's initiating contact, then the next time you talk to him, if he's still feeling under the weather, just offer. Like, just, it's all about just, like, being you, be honest, and, you know, just be smart about it. Well, he seems to be into her. That's the thing.
I mean, based on what? Did he ask her out? I mean, they've only gone out twice. She says he communicates with her like he's like the initiator, she said. She seems a little... Who knows, though? We don't know. Who knows? That's all I'm saying. We don't know. P1 Word Herd's on the line. What's cracking, guys? What's up, dude? So, I wonder if the guy that she's dating knows some of the guys that she's in the past apparently, quote, smothered. Because if he does... and they probably talked to him about her, and he's still okay with it, he's obviously still going out with her, then maybe he'd be cool with the goodie bag. Hey, P1 Kim, does he know about your past? Does he know what your history is with dudes? No. Oh, he does not? No, we haven't. I mean, we've gotten into some conversations, but, I mean, it's not a history. It's not like, I mean, I'm hurting the guys. Hey, what about this, you guys? Wait, say again, word heard? He's not friends with any of her old boyfriends? Um, I mean, we chat, but, I mean, when you break up, it's like you break up for a reason. No, he, the guy you're dating right now, does he know any of your friends or old boyfriends or anything like that? No. Uh-uh. Okay. Good. Uh, thank you, word heard. I can't believe that you didn't call me. What was that for? Yeah, that's a clip of Eddie Stalker who just would not leave him alone.
That was her when she used to call in on the air. Uh-oh. I have a question. What about this thing? What about the whole, like, well, if you do it and he freaks out, he ain't your kind of guy. What about that? Right? That's a good point. Yeah, because then he wouldn't like me. Yeah. You know? Yeah. I care. Yeah, maybe a little too much. Maybe a little too much, Eddie says. P1, let's talk to P1 Tony. Tony, are you there? I'm here, Mike. Morning. Hey, I wanted to tell Glenn Close that... Oh, no. Oh, no. What? What did you want to say? I wanted to tell her that bunny rabbit soup after two dates is just too much. Go. Now, why do you say this, Tony? Why do you say that it would be wrong to take soup to the guy? He's sick. Why would it be wrong? Mike, I've dated a chick like this before. And it starts off what she's explaining to you is I just want to drop off a little something, something, you know, just to make him feel better. And next thing you know, she has teeth. She has a toothbrush at your house. She has her pantyhose at your house. Your house is filled with all.
Kim, I want you to be completely honest with us here, okay? Kim? Oh, with the chicken noodle soup. Kim, I want you to be completely honest with us here, okay? Okay. You promise? I promise. Okay. In your past relationships, have you been the gal that has the toothbrush over at the house? Yeah. Mm-hmm. And what else did you say, P1 Tony, the toothbrush, and what else? Toothbrush. The pantyhose, the shoes, and the bowl that has the chicken noodle soup in it. Next thing you know, you have five. Yeah, you strategically leave things at his house to kind of mark your territory. Did you just hear that? When he was describing it, she gave a little giggle. Oh, no. I mean, I don't do it to be malicious. I don't do it to, I mean. Tony, she says she doesn't do it to be malicious. Well, then it's okay. So, Tony, what was your beef with it?
I don't think that Glenn Close lived her wrist to be malicious either. She just loved Michael Douglas. I gotcha. I gotcha. That wasn't, that's not a unique reference. Yeah, well, she's not nuts. She's just, at worst, at worst, she's very clingy. Enthusiastic. Yeah, and at best. Passionate. And at best, she's very, very caring. Oh. She cares you to death. The more I think about it, because she said the problems with her previous relationships is she would make excuses to go over and see these guys. So is this a sick thing, this cold? Is this just an excuse? Wait, wait, wait. Tony, say that again, brother. Excuses like calling in the middle of the night and saying, oh, yeah, I forgot something. I have to show up at 2 o'clock in the morning. And I brought a bag. That's weird. Hey, Tony, thanks for the call. Hey, P1 Kim. Kim, are you there? Yeah. So you like the guy. It sounds like he likes you. I personally don't see anything wrong with taking him over some soup. I don't think it makes you sound like you're a stalker or that you're weird or anything like that. The only thing that gives me pause is the deal that you said about, hey, you know, your girlfriends tell you you have a history of moving a little fast.
So that's the only thing that would concern me. Man, I wish you would let us into your world and read some of the text messages. That would give us an indication. But I'm not just going over there to give him soup. He's sick. Right. She's going to bring him some soup and leave pregnant. I've seen it a million times. P1 Alliance is on the line. Alliance, are you there? I'm here. Alliance has an idea on this and a thought on this, too. What do you want to say? Well, I mean, you guys are all talking about how it's right or wrong for T1 Glenn Close to do all these. Now, wait a second. She does not refer to herself as T1 Glenn Close. She does not. From the movie Fatal Attraction. She does not. She does not. Her name is P1 Kim, and she refers to herself as P1 Kim. Go ahead. Oh, man. Okay, she sounds like a nice girl and all, but nobody's really thinking about what the guy would think about it. I know if I just met this girl or had a couple of dates, I would definitely not want, I mean, if I'm that thick, I don't want anybody visiting me, especially a girl that I like and seeing me all, like, running nose. Right, right. I didn't think about that. That's a good point. Head working.
Yeah, you know, you're not at your best. A little vomit on your sweater. You're in your Spider-Man PJs. Well, P1 Kim, what do you think about that? Do you think that maybe it could be a deal where the guy, he wouldn't really want to be seen because he's sick and everything. I mean, it is a nice thought, and I do. I do think that it's a cool thing. I haven't changed my mind about it. But what do you think, Kim, about the whole, man, I don't want to be seen when I'm all bed-heady and cold and sick? Well, I mean, that actually, that's a good point. I mean, I can understand that. But I keep going from my perspective. Like, if I were sick, I think it's a nice gesture. It shows you care. There's a couple of ladies on the line. There's a couple of ladies on the line, P1 Kim, and they have questions for you. Amy, are you there? I am. What is your question for Kim? I'm curious. When was their last date? Was it recent? Was it a while ago? Two years ago. No, it was... Is that weird? When was your last date, Kim? It was actually Friday.
Friday. Just this last Friday. Yeah, because he had to go out of town Saturday and Sunday. He got sick on that plane. I say that all the time. I say that. Don't lie. It's true. What if she makes the package and just drops it off in front of his house at his door or something? Hey, Kim. Yeah? That's a really interesting question. Yeah. Is that weird? Because for the person that is... Clingy, they want to make contact. Yes. Of course. I would be okay with that. Yeah. I would be okay with that. I like it. I like it. Kim. Just don't put a knife through it. Oh. I've had that happen, and it wasn't my thing. Really? The knife thing? No. No. Do you have a little goodie bag at your door? Yeah. Really? Did you like the girl? I did, but I thought that was... Too much? Yeah, the leaving it. Really? Yeah. I was with you, Mike. That was my first thought. I was like, that's a little much. The leaving it. That's too much, but bringing it directly to you is not too much. I'm confused. It wasn't soup. It was just a nice gesture. It was a nice gift. She was given a gift, and I thought it was – I would have rather –
seen her in person. There was something about leaving it there that I thought was unusual. You don't want the gift, Mike. I'll take it. I guess it's the circumstances for me. If I'm sick and she knows I'm sick and leaves me a little thing on my door, I'm alright with that, actually. If you're sick and don't feel good, you can just grab it, no contact. And if I hate the soup, I can pour it out. Throw it away. Exactly. Whatever. Jump on it. This is so dumb. P1 Miranda. What? This is all theoretical. Miranda, are you there? Yes, I'm here. What is your question? Well, I just wanted to tell P1 Ken that I think that she just needs to be herself. And she's not being malicious. And if she wants to drop the soup off to him, drop it off. If he doesn't like it, they've only gone on two dates. And better to know now than to wait around. Miranda, I got to think that you are that kind of girl, too. You like to give the little sweet gestures and do that kind of stuff? Yeah, and the guy that she meets that's right for her is going to appreciate her for who she is. Now, Miranda, are you married or do you have a boyfriend? I'm engaged. You're engaged, and I'm guessing that that was something that your fiancé really liked. True. Yeah.
Hey, listen, I've said on the air before, I believe that that is the secret to women winning over their men. Is to do those sort of maternal caring type of things. Now, you can go too far. You can go too far. It's a very, very fine line. We want women to take care of us, but we don't want a mother. That's right. Wow. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. We want them to mother us, but we don't want them to be our mother. All right. You know what I'm saying? P1 JB, you there? JB, are you on the line? JB going three times. You're out. Yeah. P1 Audrea. Hello, Audrea. Good morning. Good morning. Okay. P1 Kim, I think that that is a very nice gesture, and I think that's really sweet. I think in the stages of where you are, if you have a future with this guy, I think you're... showing too much too soon, I think you kind of have to leave him wanting to see more and know more about you. And you're just kind of like rushing way into it. I think that's a super nice gesture, but maybe after you've been dating a while and know him, like you got to leave him wondering about you a little bit more. Audrey, I have a question. Yes. Could that by, I'm not saying it is, but I'm wondering, do you think that there are people that could maybe potentially see that as a game playing? Yes.
And I think you have to play the game a little bit. I'm not trying to be rude. And this is just my opinion. But I think that men tend to like the game a little bit. That's just my opinion. All right. Yeah, I agree. Thank you, Audrey. So Sky says play games. Well, no, I mean. Mess with his head. You can't just give it all away. You know what I'm saying? Yes, you cannot give it all away, Kim. Kim, thank you for calling. Good luck. I want to hear how that turns out. Big time. Big time. Mikey, what is this? Is this Rhythm of the Night by DeBarge? Oh, geez. Good. Sky, you all right? Yeah. Birthday sneeze? Yeah. Birthday sneezes. National holiday sneeze? Total national holiday. Sky called herself a national treasure during the break. I did not. I was reading you an email.

Happy birthday, Sky. We love you. Yeah. P1 Whoopi. Thank you, Whoopi. And we are getting a lot of text messages about this woman. Oh. That has gone out on two dates with this guy, and he's sick with a bad cold, and she wants to drop off some chicken soup. P1 Glenn Close. That's what she has been labeled. Mikey, I would love to be appreciated like that. She's an awesome woman. That's P1 Will. Mikey, what if he's pretending to be sick to get rid of her? P1, think about it. Oh, think about it. Mikey, if I was dating a girl and I got sick, I would think that she wasn't really into me if she didn't at least offer to help me out a little bit. It's P1 Hammer. Two days? Come on, guy. Wow.
Mikey, the fact that she has to question it should be an indication not to. It's P1 Lori. Mikey, I would dig it if a chick made me soup when I was sick. That's P1 Do It. Again, I think it's the timing of it. Yeah. Like, if I had been going out with her for a while and she wanted to do that, absolutely. That's a rad chick. Yeah. But after two dates, I don't really know you very well. I don't know. What if you're really into the girl? Yeah, if you're into her, you're like, that could take you over the edge. Yeah, and you're like so stoked that you went on two dates with her. You're like, you're feeling it. Yeah, I mean, I don't know that for two dates. Eddie, think about it. I would think it was appropriate. Think about your wife. Yeah. And when you went out with her on two dates, man, you were like, this chick rules. Yeah, absolutely. She, if you got sick and she brought you some chicken soup. I don't know, man. For real? Like, it's just, it's too soon. She's absolutely the kind of woman that would do that. But, you know, I just think. After two dates, it's, like, it's too much. And I don't know how much they've been. I mean, if they've talked, like, all the time and stuff like that, that's a little different. Then maybe I'd be okay with it. But if we just straight went out on two dates, talked a couple times on the phone, I just, I don't know, man. It's just too much for me. Skeaves you out a little? A little bit. This text says, depends on the size and contents of said care package, P1 Weezer. Yeah, like, what is in this goodie bag?
Yeah, like what if she went to Milton's, she got some takeout chicken soup. She said homemade soup. Oh, homemade. Dude, that's a lot of work, dude. So are we talking Tupperware? Are we talking Ziploc throwaway container? What are we talking? What is she leaving in? And did she leave? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because if she left it in Tupperware, if she left it in Tupperware, it implies I'll be back. Yeah, I'll come back and get this. If she leaves it in disposable Ziploc, you know. I didn't even think of that. That's a good point. Containers, it means enjoy, throw away, I'll see you maybe. Yeah, or maybe not. Or maybe not. You hear what this guy said? What? If it was like a glass bowl. Oh, dude. I mean, then you're like, you're crazy. Oh, wow. Mikey, tell this girl she just needs to be herself, and when the right guy comes along, he will be appreciated. He will appreciate her for who she is. P1, heck yeah. How do we know it's not that guy? Yeah, he could be. Could be. Now we're getting texts about other things that we've been talking about this morning, like Boston Rob's song, the fact that Sean's drinking that disgusting stuff. It's actually delicious. And San Francisco considering legalizing prostitution.
Mikey, Wicked Lame by B-Rob is the best song yet. I was laughing so hard I had tears. My coworkers thought I was crying. That's P1 Nikolai. Awesome. Mikey, has anyone else noticed that Rob sounds like the Count from Sesame Street? What? P1 Wazoo. Chris Isaac. Jeez. Mikey, I raise my glass to a wonderful you. Cheers. Happy birthday, Sky. That's P1 Kung Fu. Aw, thank you. Sky, you've been getting some nice ones this morning. I have. People have been so cool. Mikey, Sean's Mexican yogurt is probably made with donkey milk. He should know. That's P1 Pigeon. Well, it's actually a donkey that's painted to look like a zebra, and then they milk it. Could be, Sean. Yeah, you don't know. Could be. Delicious. Mikey, legalizing prostitution will also help with unemployment and bring in tourism dollars. P1 fan of it. Wow. Wow. That's a regular lobbyist. I love it. So you're saying, yeah, it could give a lot of people some jobs, you know, like get some ladies working. Yeah, and dudes at San Francisco. Yeah, that is true. Can't discriminate. P1 Nicole. Hi, Mikey. Hi. How are you? Good.
Well, I think for P1 Glenn Close, I don't know. Her name is Kim. Her name is Kim. Man, she has just turned in. She'll always be Glenn Close. She has turned into P1 Glenn Close. Well, I have two things. Well, I think that after two dates, how does she know he's not dating other people? You know what I mean? Well, what does that have to do with doing something nice for him? Because if she's going to drop off stuff, drop stuff off at his house. She's probably not going to tell him I'm going to drop off some soup. Like, she's probably just going to do it to be sweet. Yeah. And she needs to be prepared that, like, they're not exclusive. After two dates, she might not like what she sees. You know what I mean? Good point. Yeah. Good point. And then, you know, and then plus it makes her look really, like, desperate. It does? To do something nice? I don't know about that. Please like me. Look how nice I am. But Nicole, what if she really is nice? Well, if she's nice, she needs to know timing. She's dating. This is the real world. We got to play some games around here. That's what I'm saying. Sneaky or whatever. I wanted to know about...
Ashley. Yeah? I wanted to see how she was doing about her breakup. Aw. Ash? We are very concerned, Ashley, for your welfare. Aw. Eddie is doing the, Eddie is fanning his eyes right now. And he is looking towards the ceiling and fanning his eyes. I want to do this. Oh, no. Cry, cry. Thanks. Well, I appreciate your concern. I'm doing good. Because it's really hard. Especially if we're going out for so long. Ravenous. I'm doing really good. If you can drop a burger off, it'd be great. And a Diet Coke. Maybe a Cherry's Jubilee. That's it. Maybe a fish fillet sandwich. It's healthy. It's fish. You guys are all going to regret all of that when I become anorexic. Oh, no. No chance. Even she's giggling in there. You love food too much. We're never going to worry about that. Thank you, Nicole. Thank you, Nicole. I appreciate that. I don't have an eating disorder. I don't know what I think when I hear Ashley or anybody for that matter say.
Thank you. I appreciate your concern. Whenever I hear I appreciate your concern, it always says to me, you know, truly, I wish you would just mind your own business. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe it doesn't. I like say that all the time. That's like my thing. When you say I appreciate your concern, you genuinely appreciate the concern. Oh, yeah. That's cool. It's her thing. It's like my thing. It's like breathing. It's her hobby. It's like what I do. It's what she's known for. Yeah. That's, like, what I do. If I ever get an email from a P1 that's, like, concerned, then I always write, like, I'll write. You get a lot of those? I say, I really appreciate your concern. If you said, I really appreciate your concern. And then I'd follow it up with a smiley face. The smiley face kind of sells it, you know? That's why, that's my whole, just make it, you know, look. Okay. Genuine. P1 Corman's on the line. Hey, Mikey, how you doing? What's up, dude? Hey, I got a question for the Oracle. Go ahead. Yeah. Well, first off, let me say happy birthday to Skye. Oh, thank you. Of course. Very smart. I don't want to get in trouble when I answer that first. Okay. You could have just left it in happy birthday. I got a two-part question for Eddie on the UFC and the Elite XC going under. Yeah.
So what do you think, Oracle? Do you think Dana White will pick up Kimbo or maybe even start a women's division with Gina Carano? That's a good question. I don't know if people know that or not, but Elite XC, the one that was on the CBS. that had the CBS fights, their company folded. Are you serious? Yeah, the one with Kimbo. So no more TV? It's Kimbo's fault for losing. Oh, wow. Yeah, so there's no more real competition for the UFC right now. I mean, UFC is basically a monopoly right now. And so obviously that means no more primetime television. Not right now. I think that the UFC will probably recognize how big it was for Elite XC. They just didn't have the backers for it. And hopefully they will. figure out a deal somewhere down the line with some sort of network. But interesting questions about Kimbo and Gina Carano. I really am curious about Kimbo Slice, whether or not Dana will sign him or not, because he's such a spectacle. Explain to people who this Kimbo Slice is, Eddie. Kimbo Slice was an internet sensation where on YouTube he would go into basically backyards and fight people.
For money. And they would tape it. Bare knuckle. They would tape it, and they would put it on YouTube, and it became a sensation. And then he got real serious about fighting and started actually training for mixed martial arts and started fighting for this company, Elite XE, and became huge until he just recently lost. But I kind of liken it to what they're doing with Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar was a WWE wrestler, tried out for the NFL. And, you know, it was kind of a spectacle upon himself. But, you know, he started training for mixed martial arts. But UFC jumped at the chance to sign him and put him in the ring. You know, and now he's fining for the heavyweight title in Randy Couture in a month. And so, you know, I would think that Dana would look into signing Kimbo. But for some reason, I don't think he's going to. I just have this gut feeling that he's going to be like, ah, no, that guy, you know, he's garbage. And I believe he's taught crap about Kimbo before. Really? Dana White has? Yeah. Ashley, did you watch that primetime CBS thing on Saturday nights, or did you skip it? I missed the one that Kimbo fought in. I missed that fight. I watched the Spike special last Saturday with Brandon Vera fighting. You did? Michael Bisbee. How many of those CBS? There was four. There was four? Ash, did you watch any of them? Did you watch any? Just tell the truth. Did you see any of those? Of the four what? The CBS? No.
Now, the reason I ask is because I know Ash is a fan, and I wonder if that CBS thing was more for the hardcore mixed martial arts fan, or if it was for not only them, but also for the more passive MMA fan. Well, that was the point, is that they wanted to expand. the mixed martial arts audience by putting that on and trying to get the guys that were watching college football on Saturday and keep them around to watch the fights that night. You know, that's what they were trying to do is broaden the audience and make it gigantic. I don't think it worked. And part of the problem was Elite XC doesn't have a very good product. You know, if it was the UFC on CBS, that would be gigantic. What time of night were we talking here? I think the fight started at 9. Yeah. Yeah, and always ran over. I mean, they were terrible. They had no clue what they were doing. And all they had really was Kimbo and Gina Carano. Those were their two big stars that they would try and trot out there and have fight. And it just wasn't enough for the casual fan to go. And then Kimbo lost. And then Kimbo lost. And people were thinking, oh, Kimbo, he's the best fighter there is.
And Kimbo's terrible. He's not even close to the best fighter. He's just some kind of thug who started training in mixed martial arts, and it got exposed. He was never a UFC guy, Kimbo? No. He's only fought like four or five times. Oh, wow. And you say you get the feeling that Dana White from the UFC isn't even really interested. I don't think he's going to be. I really don't. And they don't have a women's division, and I don't foresee them. starting a women's division anytime soon. So I don't know what Gina Carano is going to do. Maybe there's other things like affliction, and they're having money problems too, and Japan. I mean, maybe she can go to Japan or something like that, but I don't know. It's going to be really interesting. Well, speaking of mixed martial arts, UFC, our friend Brandon Vera is going to be calling in pretty soon. Brandon fought this last weekend and lost, and it's one of a few losses the last few fights for Brandon. And it's tough because Eddie's thinking they may have to have him fight in the mid-card fights now. He's lost three out of the last four fights. And he's in a new weight division. He's in the lower division, which is better for him because now he's a big guy instead of a small guy in a big division. He's a big guy in a smaller division. So that's good for him. But he's just not clicking right now. I'm really fascinated to hear what he has to say about that fight.
and how he thought it went. I have a thing in my head that I think that it is, but I want to ask him about it. So we'll wait until we get him on. P1ShellE has a question for the Oracle. Hello. Hi. What up, what up? Yo, yo, yo. I have a question about, I don't really ever hear you guys talk about like regular boxing. And I'm a huge boxing, I'm a Bernard Hopkins fan. Oh, why? And what? Wow, that's just crazy. Yeah, I love him. And his fight was last Saturday, and I watched it. But I didn't hear you guys talk about it. I don't know if you caught it or what your thoughts were on Bernard Hopkins. I got to tell you, I grew up a huge boxing fan, and I've been a boxing fan all my life. I've really enjoyed boxing. But as soon as MMA got on the scene, it makes boxing boring. It makes it so much slower and so much less.
interesting to me and I try I still I still watch boxing quite a bit um but I am not the type of guy that is now going out and buying every boxing pay-per-view there is especially Bernard Hopkins because he in my opinion, no offense, is absolutely terrible. He drives me nuts. He's the dirtiest fighter. No offense. I'm being honest. He's a dirty fighter. He's boring. He's old. He's just a guy that will lull you to death and just try and outpoint you. What happened? He won. He won the title. He beat this guy Kelly Pavlik. This is a great fight. Like, if you look at Pollock fighting, Pollock was more dirty than Bernard. They were both giving each other shots, like, behind where they're blocking the rest. Let me tell you. Let me tell you. As a guy that grew up around that sport because of my dad watching that sport, the conversation you're hearing right now between Eddie and P1 Shell E.
is a conversation I heard in my home a million times because of my uncles and my cousins. One guy will say, this guy is a bum, and if there's somebody who's a fan of them, they are going to ride that horse forever until you've got to put them down and send them to the glue factory. They will ride that horse. I give all the credit in the world to Bernard for winning the fight. I am not a fan of his. I never have been. He's just not the type of fighter I like to see. And, you know, I'll get the big pay-per-views, like if De La Hoya is fighting or Floyd Merriweather. Yeah, and I'm going to get that. I'm going to get that fight for sure because those are exciting fighters. But your run-of-the-mill fight, I'm really not that into. I think the UFC has done a really good job of making their sport exciting, youthful, mainstream. sports analysts say that the state of boxing and the reason that the state of boxing is in the position that it's in is from their own failure. It's sad, man. It's sad to see. You know, they let a lot of politics get involved in boxing and you don't get to see some, you know, we should be seeing major fights on almost a monthly basis, but we don't because of a lot of the politics and things like that. And right now, boxing is third in pay-per-view buys.
as far as the big pay-per-view buys. UFC is number one, WWE is number two, and boxing is number three. Wow. I'll tell you this, Barakal. I understand about Bernard Hopkins, what you're saying about him, but if you're a boxing fan, it's not those knockout artists that you watch and you're like, wow, they're great fighters. Me personally, it's all about the technical aspect of boxing. No question about it. I just mentioned two fighters that I like to watch, Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather. Those guys are not Floyd Mayweather. They're not knockout artists. They're technical guys, and I love watching them. I understand because I hate Delahoya, but he's a great fighter. I just can't stand him. I'm a great little fighter. You hate Mexicans. Hey, Shelly, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. Thank you. P1, what's hampooning is online. Are you there? What's hampooning? Yeah, Cubby, I'm here. What's going on, dude? You know what? There's something you may want to talk to Brandon Vera about when he comes on. I saw a story on Yahoo.com that he was at his trainer's house in West Virginia, and they almost got robbed.
What do you mean? They were held at gunpoint, actually. Whoa. It's a crazy story. Whoa. Dang. I'm wondering if that mess with his mentality going into the fight, too. Dude, I want to know about that. Oh, yeah. Big time. Big time. Thank you, What's Rampooning. Yeah, no problem, Cub. We'll find out from Brandon Vera when he calls in this hour. Our text number, 35253. Our phone number, 570-1053. They're absolutely not true, says California Superintendent of Public Schools.
The judge declared a mistrial in the Britney Spears license case yesterday after the jury could not reach a unanimous decision. Tiger Woods talked about his injury and his possible return yesterday. Tiger says he didn't even realize he was showing his pain at Torrey Pines. Well, at the time, I didn't think I was. showing that much, you know, because how much it hurt. I was trying not to show it at all, but at times it grabbed me. I tried not to show it, but it was killing me. I was the only guy sweating out there. You know, it's a little bit cool, and with all the pain, as you know, in your nervous system, you do sweat a bit. He's a man. Tiger Woods, nothing to keep him down. He's out there doing all 18 holes. He doesn't mind.
He also talks about his rehab going on right now that he's doing. Every day changes, day to day. Every day is different. It's about six days a week, and I'm taking it to it. It's lifting. It's cardio. It's in the pool. It's a bunch of stuff. I feel good. I can do everything except for rotation right now. I'm not allowed to rotate yet. Tiger on a scale of 1 to 10. You're a man at about a 15. It's amazing. Calvin Asian. Welcome back. We are going to be talking to Brandon Vera. This is the song that he comes into the arena with. Brandon Vera is on. How you doing, everybody? How you doing? How you doing, brother? How you doing, Brandon? Good. I was in a fight. Hey, listen, man. We got so much to talk about. I mean, forget the fight for a second. I just found out about five minutes ago that you and your trainer were held up. Where did this happen? How did this happen? And what happened?
There's an investigation probably. There's still a lot of stuff we don't know. So I kind of want to leave that alone for right now. Okay. But you're safe. Everybody came out good. The best possible scenario came out. Master Lloyd actually disarmed one of the guys. He pressed the button on the gun, dropped the clip. It was like something out of a Jackie Chan. Wait, wait, wait. You're talking about your trainer? My trainer, yeah. Your trainer? My head coach, yeah. Your head coach was able to disarm a guy with a gun? Yeah. Oh, my.
ridiculous yeah but everything happened exactly the way it should have happened like everything from everybody played their part and everybody's fine so it was cool it was a blessing it was a blessing yeah oh wow man well listen when all of the investigation's over and everything's done we got to talk about it because that's a i promise i promise for sure and plus you know i kind of told myself lord i want to use it as a kind of a tool and even for the san diego listeners you know you start locking your doors and just paying attention to what you're doing because If it happened to me and Master Lloyd, I mean, come on. You're kind of brave coming into the house. Yeah. You're hearing a lot of that lately, like home invasion stuff, which is kind of creepy. Yeah. People should absolutely be locking their doors. Yeah. This is crazy. Well, I am glad to hear that you're okay. And let's talk a little bit about mixed martial arts. Yes. Okay. So you fought the king of mean, Keith Jardine. Uh-huh. And you lost. It was this last weekend. And talk to us about this fight and how you feel this thing went down. Did you think you won, Brandon? I thought I won. You know, I watched the fight last night for the first time. And my opinion now hasn't changed from then. I thought I was doing more damage, you know. I was slipping a lot of punches. And I just thought I connected more and did more damage. But he was the busier of us two fighters. But if you watch the fight, like, he missed a whole bunch.
But regardless of the outcome of the fight, man, I really cannot complain about that fight. I remember after the fight was over, I looked across the ring, I gave Keith a five and a hug, and I was like, man, great, deep in fight. Awesome fight. And I've never, ever, since I started competing, I've never, ever respected a man as much as I respected Keith or felt that good about my job after that fight. What do you think ultimately led to the decision? For Keith? Yeah, yeah. I mean, I know you felt like, hey, I won the fight. But what, I mean, looking at it now, you know, after and in hindsight, what do you think it was that the judges saw that gave him the fight? Honestly, I don't know. Just watching it once yesterday, he was visier like maybe the last 30 seconds of each round. But I'm going to go back today and I'm going to go.
review the tape, write down how many times I was struck, how many times I hit him back, how many times I countered, slipped, how many shots he missed, and how many shots he hit me with. I'm going to go back and break the fight down in detail. Not so that I can complain or whine about it, just so that I can fix whatever needs to be fixed for next time. Brandon, I don't remember how many fights ago it was that you broke your hand. How many fights now? Four. Has that broken hand had... Any effect on the way that you use that hand? No, sir, not at all. It's completely healed? It's completely healed, yes, sir. So when you strike a bag or when you strike in the octagon, there's no lingering effects from it? No, sir, not at all. And what about your future? What does it look like? What are we going to do? Because one of the things that we were saying is, This could mean mid-card fights for you now. This is three losses out of the last four. Have you talked to Dana White? No, I haven't talked to Dana. I haven't talked to him. Like I said, the way I felt after that fight, I'm super excited about MMA and my career. I've changed everything in my life. If they want to put me on mid-cards, man, they're going to be hurting. I'm just...
coming into my own now. And they're not just that. Like, everybody I lost to, Tim Sylvia was ranked top three in the world. Fabricio Verdun was ranked top five in the world. Keith Jardim KO'd Forrest Griffin, the current UFC champ, and he knocked Chuck down almost out and then commenced a unanimous decision in Chuck Liddell. And you beat Frank Mir, the guy that's fighting for the heavyweight title. Exactly. So, you know, it's... It is what it is. I understand that it is business, and I've been saying this a lot in all my interviews. Employees always want more money, and employers never want to pay more. So it comes along with abortion, religion, and politics. We're going to argue about this until the end of days, but it is what it is. All the chips are on the table, and I just want to go fight again, man, ASAP, against somebody else good. Brandon Vera is on the line. He's a friend of the show, and he fought this last weekend in London. And how was London, by the way? It was cool. We were in Birmingham. It was really cool. It kind of reminded me of San Diego minus the weather. Birmingham's in Alabama. Oh, Bingham, or however you say it with the accent. There you go. The fans cool over there? The fans are awesome over there, yeah. They love the sport. They know your birthday, your middle name. Yeah, they're super fans over there. Awesome. Crazy. Wow.
Did you get to do any sightseeing while you were there? Just kind of in the immediate area. I went to a whole bunch of different shops and we walked the canals and went to a bunch of different... What about Big Ben? Yeah, Big Ben. Did you get to see that Big Ben? I didn't get a chance to go. Oh, no. Hey, Brandon, I heard the UFC is going into the Philippines. That's what I heard. And, yeah, what do you think about that? I think I won't fight a mid-card fight on a UFC card. No. Well, will they be utilizing you in any way to promote that? I don't know. I don't know. They have to. Brent is huge in the Philippines. Yeah. Saying that I was too expensive to use in the Philippines. I started laughing about it. Well, no, it's all just business. It's all propaganda. You got to understand. Yeah. They want to prove their point before. before the point needs to be made. Is your contract coming up, Brandon? Yeah, they actually have to renegotiate my contract now. Wow. It's going to be tough, man. You've lost... Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't do this stuff like last time. Come on, Brandon. No, no, no, no, it's not. You've got to get paid, but I need you fighting. I've got a good management group, man. Plus, I'm thinking about it in all aspects. I'm going to be doing this for another five.
six years. So we're just getting started. So I'm super, I mean, I'm excited. There's no question that you will re-sign, right? No question. I don't think there's any question at all. Hey, what do you think of Elite XC folding? We were just talking about that a few minutes ago. I just heard that, you know, I got back on Sunday and I'm kind of, I think today's my first full day of knowing where and what's going on. And I heard that it folded. So, I mean, There's a lot of companies coming in and out. You think the UFC will go after Kimbo now? No, no way at all. Dana White's been saying it from day one. You know, hate him, love him, or whatever. Dana, I mean, he's got some, he has his own, what do you call them? I'm not going to say morals, but his own guidelines that he follows. And one of the ones was trying to take the sport out of that type of.
Sort of street thug kind of deal. Circle genre, I guess. He wanted to be known as thugs and street fighters and backyard brawlers. And he's been fighting for so long for it not to be like that. He hates the image that Kimbo stands for. And we were talking about it actually before this fight. He said he doesn't hate Kimbo at all. You know what I'm saying? God bless him. He's in the position he's in and making money and doing his thing. He's doing well for himself. but he doesn't want to be promoting that type of image for his company, which was cool to hear from Dana. You know what I mean? That's cool. That means a lot as a professional MMA fighter that somebody's willing to look out for your image, all images of fighters to make us not look like, you know, uneducated backyard ballers. Hey, just so you know, Brandon, I cannot take Kimbo on a fight. Wait, I don't know. Are you sure of me? Mike, are you sure of me? There's a lot of middle school girls that I cannot take. That I cannot take in a fight. But there was that one preschooler that one time. Yeah. You got hurt. Yeah, I got over. I got over. I got lucky. I'll be honest. I mean, she wasn't even looking. No, she wasn't. I had to sneak up on her. I had to sneak up on her. I mean, if they know it's coming, I'm done. If they know it's coming, I'm finished. Truth be told, I got beat up in middle school by a girl. Oh, wow. And see, that offers hope to all of us. We can eventually.
Yeah, me and Brandon Vera, we're almost identical. Yeah, you're the same. Eddie. Yeah, Brandon, there's so many good 205ers out there. Is there one guy you're looking at that you go, oh, man, that would be a cool fight if I got to fight him? That's a whole bunch. Like you said, every 205er name that you pull out that hat in the UFC roster is going to be a good fight. So I'm whoever. What if they go Vanderlei Silva? What do you think? Yeah, I mean. Yeah. Look at that. That would be a great fight. I think they could say King Kong and Brandon be like, all right, I'll do it. You know what I mean? How can you say no to Vanderlei Silver? Are you kidding me? He's a living legend in his own right and still putting people to sleep. You have to fight that. What about Rampage? Rampage is a good friend of mine, man. Me and Rampage talked about it. He said if the money's right, me and Rampage will fight each other. Can you imagine that? Awesome. Can you imagine Rampage and Brandon Vera? That's so weird. Hey, Brandon, kick him. Kick. Get in there. That's my advice. You've got to get the contract right for that, though. I like Rampage a lot, so it's going to have to be some good, good money to fight Rampage. You get something good to eat yet since the fight's over? You know, I went out and picked out the other day. I went to Ojo's in Chula Vista, the brand-new place that opened out here at Sports Bar, and I picked out, man. What'd you eat? I had, like, four different appetizers, two different entrees. I drank two beers. I don't drink. Except for on New Year's, I had to drink two beers.
Wow. But when I got home, I just did not feel good at all. I couldn't do the rest of the night. Those guys on Survivor. Yeah. I got that one in and we're over it. So that's pretty much it. Wow. Well, Brandon, you know, we support you, man. And we're always rooting for you. Yep. We're big fans of yours. There's a big discussion right now, Brandon, that P1s are saying that you should put me in your corner for your next fight. That's actually not true. It's a big discussion. I would never say anything. Actually, Eddie was himself saying that he wants to be put in the corner. I would never bring that up. Actually, Brandon, truth be known, what Eddie said is that he wants to put on a latex glove with Vaseline on it and actually apply the Vaseline. I did. I did say that. You know, to your forehead as your cut man. I can do it. I can do it, Brandon. So there it is. Think about it. Think about it. No. Yeah, think about it and get back to it. I'll email you. Thanks, man. I appreciate that. No. Hey, Brandon, we appreciate it, man. Thank you for having me on the show, guys. I'll talk to you guys soon. Thank you very much. You got it, man. We'll see you later. He's the best. He's the best. Brandon's a good dude. He's the best. Man, how do I want that guy to succeed so bad? I know it, man. I think we all do. So cool. He's such a nice person.

If you didn't hear earlier, the Backstreet Boys will be singing the National Anthem tonight, Game 1 of the World Series. Cheers to you. That is an exciting piece of news, I'm sure. Yeah, it is. That's right. Oh, I had some questions for you folks. We're getting some text messages, too. 35253. 35253. That's our number if you want to text messages. I still think it's really cool that you can text message a morning show. So text us 35253 or call us at 5701053. This text message says boxing question mark. You got two guys wearing silk boxers fighting over a purse and a belt and it just doesn't get any gayer than that. That's P1.
It all runs together. Oh, no. Oh, gosh. He's doing his website, but I can't really read it. Did I tell you guys that yesterday I went to the urinal after the show and realized I'd put my boxers on backwards? Oh, yeah. How is that even possible? Dude, no. Wow. Don't wave. Well, don't feel bad, Mike. I've occasionally discovered that my underwear are inside out. You have? So it's not that big of a deal. See, now I have not. So I thought... Yeah, it happens every once in a while. That difficult of a process, guys. You go, gosh, it's just a Victoria's Secret on the outside. Yeah, that's what I always say. Yeah, that's what Mike said. That's what I say, too. Oh, boy. Yeah, they were on backwards. That was kind of embarrassing. How did I not feel that weirdness in it, right? How did you remedy that? I didn't. Okay. I didn't. Okay. No, I left it. You didn't drop trowel right there. Yeah, right there at the urinal. I walk into the bathroom, and I'm standing there naked at the urinal from the waist down. Am I on your way? Yeah. Hey, sorry. Just never mind. Nothing to see here. Yeah. That's cool. This one says, happy birthday, Sky. It's my birthday, too. Oh, happy birthday. Only six more months until your half birthday in April. I won't be celebrating in April because I'm a guy.
Grown up, it says. That's P1 Republican. Oh, wow. Mikey, everyone should be celebrating Skye's birthday. I mean that she's one year closer to matching her wardrobe. Just play and love you, Skye. That's P1. Oh, we're all so funny. Skye dresses like a grandma. It's hilarious. Skye. What? Tell everyone where you got that sweater. I don't know. I thought you said that that was a grandpa sweater. No, my... Not that one. Not this one. Not that one? No. No, I have another one. Well, actually, I have a couple, if we're being honest, of the grandpa sweaters. And she wears them. Oh, yeah. I wear them all the time. Yeah, big time. Everyone should be... Eddie got Skye her breakfast this morning. What did you guys decide on? What was the birthday breakfast? Poppers. Poppers. Poppers. Pop it up. Poppers. Let's see. Happy birthday, Skye. Good day, mate. Put a shrimp on the barber. On the barber? A barber? What is that? For your special day and have a wicked awesome day. That's P1 Listening in London. No wonder he said shrimp on the barbie. That makes sense. Let's see. Miss Teen Louisiana was stripped of her crown. What? After a dine and dash, Eddie. Dude.
That is awesome. It's obviously not the smart awards that these girls win. What do you mean? Didn't you hear Miss Teen South Carolina? Yeah, I have heard her before. She is great. She's a smartie. I thought she was really good. Yeah, she's pretty good. The Iraq? Yeah. Do we still have that clip? We do. I'll make sure it's up there, though. I don't know if it's on the front page. Yeah. I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don't have maps. And I believe that our education, such as in South Africa and Iraq, everywhere such as, I believe that they should... Our education over here should help the U.S. or should help South Africa. It should help Iraq and the Asian countries. So we will be able to build up our future. Yeah. Well said. Build up our future. Yes. That's right. That was fantastic. I thought she put that perfectly. I love it. Ten points. Yeah. So Miss Teen Louisiana was stripped of her crown yesterday.
After her and some girlfriends went to a restaurant in Louisiana to have a little bite to eat, they got about a $46 bill for the three of them and decided to dine and dash. No way. Well, Miss Teen Louisiana accidentally left her purse at the table. Wow. So the manager of the restaurant goes through her purse. And finds a bag of weed. Oh, my God. Can you believe that? Calls the cops to report the incident and to hand over the goods. And while the cops are there taking a report, Miss Teen Louisiana strolls back in to retrieve her purse, finally figuring out she had left it there and got in trouble. And then it got back to the organization, and they stripped her of her crown yesterday. Can you imagine? Congrats. That's a genius. Yeah. That's fantastic. That's right. Kim Kardashian was blogging about not getting to spend her birthday in London with her boyfriend, Reggie Bush, because he has to have knee surgery. So he's not over there right now. That's what she's upset about. What's the deal, Skye? She was looking forward to celebrate her 28th birthday, which was yesterday in London. And she writes on her blog that, quote, he's pretty bummed that the special birthday he planned in London couldn't happen.
But as long as he is okay, I'll have the best birthday ever. Really? That's what he's bummed about? Not being able to help his team, maybe? I think he's bummed about that. Guys, they're in love. No, it's about her birthday. That's what is upsetting him today. I didn't realize. There was a memorabilia deal, as you recall, with the OJ Simpson case. You know, there's guys selling memorabilia. I don't know what you're talking about. That's right. And I found out that my Heisman Trophy was there. You better believe it. That's mine. My stuff. Well, hold on. Give it back. I asked for it back. They didn't want to give it. So I did what any American would do. In their right mind. I committed a felony kidnapping and burglary. It's my stuff. That's how you get your stuff back. Kidnapping at gunpoint. Well, who amongst us hasn't kidnapped at gunpoint? That's right. Just like I was trying to get my wife back. That's right. That's where the problem starts. Another story? I happened to kidnap her head. Okay. Double over the top. Double over. Definitely.
Went double the times over there. It was a little much. Somebody working overtime. A little much into constructive criticism. Well, you're going to get some later on. I'll be quiet now. Uh-oh. That's not good. Well, anyway, one of the guys that was involved in that case, he went on the Dr. Phil show. Yeah. Oh, good. And, you know, he goes on the Dr. Phil show, and I guess he... Sky was not very happy about his treatment on the Dr. Phil show. Yeah, he actually filed a lawsuit yesterday. Now, this memorabilia dealer, like Mikey said, he's the one who led OJ to the hotel room where this infamous robbery, kidnapping thing occurred. So, yeah, he went on the OJ, I mean, on the Dr. Phil show. Yeah, the OJ show. Welcome to the OJ show. No, thank you. My guest today is noted columnist and kidnapper.
Phil Smith of Wisconsin. Welcome, Phil. So he said in his lawsuit that he just filed claiming defamation, fraud, emotional distress, and being portrayed in a false light. He said that Dr. Phil... Yeah, defamation. He said during the show, Dr. Phil referred to him as the shady deal maker, a puppet master who would sell his soul for a coin, and the ringleader of this crime. He also said that when the promos for this episode... And a partridge in a pear tree. You forgot that. Right. So he also said when the promo started to air back that basically during the interview, Dr. Phil had said that he was the one who set OJ up and told people to bring guns to the room. And this guy was like, no, that is not the case at all. He's actually anti-gun. Yes, it is. Think about it. So basically when they air the promo back, they show Dr. Phil saying that. And then they cut to a clip of this guy nodding his head.
Like he's agreeing with Dr. Phil and completely cut out everything he said about how he's against guns and no, that's not the way it went down. Yeah, that's defaming somebody. So he has filed a lawsuit and the Dr. Phil show has yet to comment. Nanny nanny boo boo. Dr. Phil. This Cracker Jack ain't getting a dime from me, Eddie. Well, are you sure Dr. Phil? Because it sounds like he's got a good case. Well, here's what he doesn't know. What he doesn't know is that OJ is a friend of mine, so if he likes his head, he better mind his PZQ. Oh, wow. That sounds like a threat. That does sound... Well, it is a threat. I mean, it doesn't... I'm not threatening or anything. Okay. But it sounds like it. Yeah, it does. Better be careful, guy. All I did was superimpose my face on OJ's body. All right? This is what you did? Yes, while he was rushing for the Buffalo Bills. That's all I did. That doesn't seem right. Guy must be jealous. He didn't think of it, all right? Sorry. I thought of it first. I thought to do it first. Sorry. This isn't what this case is about. Check me out, fellas. I'm the Heisman Trophy winner. Okay. You're not. So great. Stop it. That is weird. His allegations, I want you all to know, are patently false. Really? That is correct. Well, tell us why. Yeah. I can't help it if O.J. and his accomplices came to me the day before and said, hey.
We can't wait to hold these guys hostage and maybe kill them too. I can't help with that. I can't help it. You don't have to say stuff like that. A little much, I mean. I can't help that OJ said to me, and I quote, I love the smell of double murder in the morning. I can't help that. We know that's not true. He does love it, actually. He does? I'm going to be representing myself in the lawsuit. I just want you to know that. You're going to be your own lawyer. Yes, but I also have a team of legal advisors. Okay. Smart's good. Judge Judy, Judge Wapner. Oh, gosh. See? Judge Millian. Judge Reinhold. Judge Millian. Oh, no, wait. He's not even a real judge. That's a little ridiculous, Dr. Phil. That's just his name. Judge Dredd. No, no, no. These aren't legal. It's true. Stop it. It's the truth. Please stop. I can't believe this man has sued me for painting him in a bad light anyway. Oh. If he really wanted to sue me, why didn't he point out the fact that we're not insured on the show and also we don't wash our hands before serving undercooked chicken? Oh, geez.
Dr. Phil? On most occasions. You should be sued. That is disgusting. Sean is going to see you. On most occasions. That's all I'm saying. It's vile. You know, a lot of footage is being altered these days. Why does everybody get so freaked out about it? When you think about it, all we did is we spliced all the funny parts out of the movie Knocked Up. What? That's what we did. I don't understand. We actually made another movie out of it. It's called Superbad. You should see it. You know, altering footage, Scott. I don't know if you know. You probably do. You're a news girl. Altering footage. You know, it goes back to the days of the most notorious example in the entire world. And that is, of course, the moon landing. Oh, I've heard of this, Dr. Phil. We never really landed on the moon, Scott. You know that, right? Yeah, it's a conspiracy. I've definitely looked into it, Dr. Phil. It's actually my old Uncle Rachel Ray. He used to tell me. He used to give me advice on this. Oh, wait. Your Uncle Rachel Ray? Yeah.
My Uncle Rachel Ray used to give me advice on this about being defamed. And she would say... Wait, but it's your uncle. My Uncle Phil. Sorry, my Uncle Rachel Ray. She would say... No, he would say... Or else it's your aunt. She would say, whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens. Promise me... You'll give Faith a fighting chance. And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance. Wait a second. That's a song. She said, I hope you dance. That's the lyrics to a Leanne Womack song. Oh, wait a minute. Direct TV? No, yesterday. Everybody, I bet. Yeah, they had to... This happens every once in a while where you have to reset your DVR. It happened to us on both units. Yeah, I think they... And then, I don't know if you noticed that you had to download something. It took forever. Yeah, it takes forever. That's on the HD receiver, right? Yeah. But our HD receiver, Direct TV... released this HD receiver. It was the first one they released, and I don't like it. Really? Uh-uh. And they got a new one now. They have a new one that works pretty good. What they did was they fixed the bugs. You have a high-definition DirecTV, right? Yep. I'm a nerd, but it's called the HR20. Uh-huh. Well, they got the HR21 now, and it's not silver like the one that we have now. Yeah, mine's black. Yours is black? Yeah. Then you got the new one. Yeah. Well, I only got mine a month ago or two months ago. Oh, dude, you got the good one, man. It ain't that good. Really? No. What's the deal? I got running the same problems that you probably run into. My issues are heat. Mine gets too hot. Mine gets pretty hot, too. It does? Yeah, but I have all my equipment in one spot, so it's all of my equipment. Yeah. I'm ready to put mine in the freezer. Pour water over it. You'll be good. Yeah, that helps. Cool it down.
It's another one of those deals where it's 2008. 2008. I told you, I want one device that's about the size of a cell phone. And I want it to sit in a drawer. And I want it to provide internet, satellite TV. I want it to be... Well, where will all the wires go? Be wireless. No wires. What? No such thing. That's crazy. I want it to have all of our, you know, family photos, music. Yeah, it'll also work as our computer. Yeah. iPod. Yeah. Yeah. Blender. Yeah, if you want to, you can take it with you. You can put it in your pocket and you can take it with you. And, oh, yeah, it's your phone, too. If your phone rings, you can answer it. And a camera. And it's a camera. But if you take it with you, then what happens? Video games. Everything at the house. Video games. It still works at the house because it comes on a little dock. That's what charges it. Yeah.
So the dock will continue to operate as all of that network home system. But you take your phone slash everything on that device. Yeah, so in your face. Video games, too. It pops open and it plays video games. And, you know, it's your phone. Doubles as a comb. You press a button, comb pops up. Yeah, you can do a comb. In fact, it's got everything on it that your regular pocket. Swiss Army knife. Yeah, your Swiss Army knife would have. Back hair shaver. Because we all need that on the road. What else are you going to do while you drive? That's what that thing would do. Shave my back. Okay. And it would have the ability to download anything you want. You know how it plays video games on it? Yeah. If you have DirecTV... It also gets all the channels that you get on DirecTV. It works as a sling box. Can't it just be 2020 right now? And its face, when not in use, is a mirror. Yeah. So you could either put your makeup on or be very vain. I want a thing where... Or do coke off it. Where if I want to order a video game...
I just punch up the thing. Yes. And bam, I'm ordered it and I have the game there. Yeah. Bam. I don't have to go to the store, buy the disc, put it in. No. No more. And if you did that, Eddie, while you were sitting at the airport, it immediately wirelessly downloads it to your home dock. Yeah. So when you get home, it's there. Yeah. Sweet. And if you have an iPod in your car, it's instantly on there too. Excellent. I want a thing where if you are watching a show and you'd be like, Oh, I know Eddie would like to see this. You can send it to me. I invented that like a year ago, remember? It was called the sender. Yeah, that's my favorite idea ever is being able to like share stuff with people like that. I want that. Like I miss Friday Night Lights and I know, oh, Sky watched it. Bam, she sends it to me. Oh, that was like a hypothetical, right? Yeah, obviously. I would never miss it. If you didn't tape it, you could ask anybody. You really freaked me out. Yeah, and I could, like if we were on the radio, We are actually on the radio. I'm saying if we ever were on the radio. Okay. If we ever were on the radio, all you would have to do is I would go, hey, my share number is 35.
And so somebody could share with me whatever they wanted to. That, movies, video games, whatever. All you do is have your share. Like that show American Dad just had a furry episode on Sunday. I heard all about it. And so it would be like, oh, P1s, do you have that? Bam, send it to us. Yeah, Sean would love it. Bam, send it right to Sean. Send it to Sean. Unfortunately, we don't have that technology, so what are you going to do? Sean's sharing with Bamboo. He's bummed. He's bummed. He's crying. He really is. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. And question. Did any of your moms ever make you homemade Halloween costumes? Oh, yeah. Every year. Of course. Every year. Any embarrassing ones or were they all pretty good? Would you call the cookie monster an embarrassing? Yes, I would. Really? With the eyes that would move? Yes, I would. Wait, how old are we talking? I was young. I was like probably two. That's adorable. But she still pulls those pictures out. That's a little humiliating. Homemade pirates. Homemade Dracula. Now were yours good? They're okay. Because mine were ghetto.
Yeah. It's pretty ghetto. 5701053, by the way. A cat? Okay, we'll get you some black pants, a black t-shirt, and we'll put some ears on you. That's ghetto. Yeah. And they take, like, a grease pencil and put the little whiskers on you? Yeah. Or you're a ghost. Let's take a sheet and cut some holes out for the eyes. Actually, they couldn't afford a grease pencil. She just had some mascara or some, like, eyeliner. Let's just use the eyeliner. I had the tinfoil sword. Yep, yep. I did. Yeah, that was embarrassing. Did your mom ever make anything? My grandma would sew me and my brother and sister our costumes. And they look good? Yeah, like legit. Like I remember one year, me and my sister were genies and picked out our outfits and we get to pick out our colors and the fabric and my grandma sewed it like from scratch. All right, well, I want to hear. It's money. Let me hear the lame ones. I want to hear the lame ones because there's got to be some funny. lame stuff that like were homemade. I'm talking like Skies, the ghetto stuff. Yeah, I remember my mom encouraged me to be a punk rocker a couple times because all you needed was like the glasses and the paint for your hair. Sure, we're done. You're good. Oh, you look so cute. Go get candy. 5701053. I, mine were, I'm serious, like thrifty drugstore $1.99 costume in a bag.
Oh, like they were actually like plastic? Is that what you're talking about? It was the cheap plastic Frankenstein mask with a string and a staple. Yeah. With like an elastic string and a staple. Those are the best. Oh, dude. I mean, it was terrible. It cost like 50 cents to manufacture in China. Right. If 50 cents. By 10-year-olds. Yes. P1 Rob. Yeah. What's up? Hey, how's it going, man? Good. You guys remember Matt tonight from McDonald's? He was like the big moon head guy? Yes. Yes, I do. One time my mom, she made me like, it was a really cool costume. She went all out. We had a lot of money, so she made the whole head out of paper mache. I mean, it was awesome. I had the glasses. She took me to McDonald's. They gave me free food. But we were out trick-or-treating, and I was like maybe six or so. And we seen another, like, you know. young couple with their little kid, and they pointed to me, and they were across the street, and they go, hey, look at the banana. Man. Thanks, Mike. I love the show. Thank you, dude. I want to hear the lame ones. I mean, that's great that she made one that looked really cool, even though people thought it was a banana. And it must have obviously, like, scarred him for him to remember that. Yeah, he still remembers it. To this day. Oh, man. I mean, wasn't it?
Wasn't a Halloween costume, but when I was a kid, we couldn't afford OP shorts, so my mom took a pair of jeans and cut them. She hemmed them. Never mind that they were like girl short shorts and that they were like Daisy. Never mind that part. They were supposed to be a little long. And yeah, she sewed OP on there, but she put two O's on mistake instead. So she just put an S. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. She made it say oops. I made it say oops. Ashley just gave me eyes like, is that true? That's true. It's a true story. I had shorts that said oops. Are we talking a finger quotes mistake? Or was it a mistake? That's a good question. That's one you're going to have to ask to Esther. Oh, sweet Esther. That's right. P1 David. Hey, Mikey, how you doing? Good, dude. Good. Hey, my mom, she made me a, I was a Ninja Turtle once.
She had these patterns that you buy at Yardage Town or whatever. Sean knows about that. Yeah, Sean, Yardage Town. A fabric store. And I was a crayon, dude. My body was the box. And I was kind of like sticking out. I was sticking out of the crayon box. And I was a red crayon. You know what's even more emasculating about it? Like what's more humiliating? is that, like, you look so dumb, and you know it, right? Like, you know it. And your mom thinks you're so cute. Just one more picture. Oh, I know. Just one more picture. And it's insult to injury, man. Dude, this is great. P1 Mark, you there? Yeah, what's going on, Mikey? Not too much, dude. What were you? I was Darth Vader. I don't know if Eddie's going to like this or not. Listen to this. I had the outfit, but what happened was the outfit was ruined. So all I had was a mask. I wouldn't leave the house until I was, you know, fully dressed as Darth Vader. Right. So my dad was pretty PO'd with me. And what he did is, all right, you want it your way? He put a trash bag over me. That's what I wore. Like a black trash bag? I would feel so sad for that kid if he showed up at my door. Dude. The plastic Darth Vader mask and black trash bags. And put a calculator in the front? Yes. Yes.
Wow, dude. That's pretty humiliating. That's not good. Yeah, I cried the whole time. Yeah, I bet. I can't imagine why. Uplifting. Thank you for the call. P1 Kelly. Hi. Hi. I was a bubble gumball machine. How'd she do it? She took a clear trash bag and filled it with balloons. And then she colored my nose like with the red coloring. Man, so ridiculous. So wait, she put that trash bag over your head? Like cut a hole? Yeah, so her body went over his shoulders, you know. And then cut holes. Probably had to cut holes for her arms to come out. And it's clear. And then she put balloons inside of it. Oh, that's ghetto. That is ghetto. Ghetto chic. Wow. Thank you very much. Let's see. P1 Daryl? Yes. What were you? Well...
We had six kids in the family, and my dad had to make all of our costumes. I wanted to be a storm trooper, so he took PVC piping, stuck my skinny arms in it and legs, and he took a milk jug and cut it for my helmet. I want to see a picture of that. I would love to see a picture of that. That is genius. Wow. I would love to see that. I know what I'm going to be at Boo Ball. That's awesome. At first I thought it was cool, you know, until I showed up at the event, you know, and all my friends are like in these, you know. Elaborate. Yeah. And you've got a milk jug on your face. sleep train mattress centers. Right now we're looking pretty good on our freeways. It was an earlier accident. We'll be backing up traffic for a time through San Marcos on the eastbound 78. It was sitting near the 15. That's now cleared out of the way and things are pretty much back to normal. The rest of our freeways are moving along at a pretty good clip here. Winds are gusting up to the mountains and deserts though. A high wind warning remains in effect along I-8 from Alpine or between Alpine and the Imperial County. So use caution if you're driving a high profile vehicle like a big rig or a motorhome or such. Border to wait is still about a good two hours at San Ysidro getting into the U.S. Cameron Lawrence on Rock 105.3. His jack-o'-lanterns are on permanent display at museums around the world. There is a PlayStation game that is being delayed because they're afraid of Muslim backlash. Yeah, it was supposed to be out earlier this month. It's called Little Big Planet, and I know nothing about video games, but according to this article, it was supposed to be... Ask Masteep. It was supposed to be a really huge release. Grand terrorist auto. They had to hold it back. They said, listen, it's too dangerous. Yeah. Well, it turns out that some of the music, some of the background music. Grand Theft Camel. Magic Carpet Hero. Some of the background music. Sitar Hero. Sitar Hero. Rock 105.3. Back, it's the Mikey Show. These guys, when they recorded this, they were like 16 or something. They were real young. All right, buddy. What is this? What are these guys called again? Days of the New, dude. Days of the New. Didn't the dude from Days of the New wasn't the lead singer on Intervention? Meth, right? Oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah. Yeah, I don't remember. I think so. That was like the first season, right? Something like that. That was a while ago. Wicked. Wicked long time ago. Welcome back. It's 942. Terrence Howard says that he was surprised to learn that he would not be in the sequel to Iron Man.
Michael Vick plans to plead guilty to state dogfighting charges, a step that could allow him to qualify for an early release from federal prison and into a halfway house. Oh, wow. This is interesting because when you plead guilty, you think bad things would happen to you, but no, this is actually good. Yeah. Ah, our system. 570-1053 is the phone number. P1 Han Solo is on the line. Ooh, hi. What's up? Hi. Wait a minute, this is a girl. Hold on. It's Han Solo, but not the real one. I always have to make that, you know, part of that. Oh. So you're confused. Your mom sent you as Han Solo? No, my mom sent me as a tube of Crest toothpaste. That sounds awesome. How did she do that?
She got felt. She got a big white thing of felt, glued it down the side, cut out some letters, put it down the front of me. Plastic hat. And I had a gigantic orange toothbrush that I remember, too. I love that costume. Wow. That's hysterical. Wow. Thank you, Han Solo. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. P1 Jennifer. Hi. What were you? My parents sent me to school when I was in kindergarten as a hobo. How did they dress you? Red Sox hat. Yeah, didn't wash my Red Sox jersey for about two years. They just tore my jeans up, made my face dirty. I wore it like one of my dad's old flannels. And then they gave me like a broomstick with a plastic bag where I had old clothes in it. This really is Rob. Outfit you're describing here. Thank you very much. P1 Lucy. Hey, what's up, Mikey Show? Not too much. Well, okay, this is kind of a funny story. My husband, when he first left, my Halloween budget was like shot. And my son was like, I want to be something scary because they were having a costume contest at school. And I'm like, well, I don't know what to do. I have like an $8 budget. So I borrowed a white dress from his cousin and I got him a wig at the 99 cent store, one of those black ones. And I dressed him up as Zamora from The Ring.
And I gave him a videotape. Oh, wow. That is creepy. He's a boy. Like, when it was all put together. That little girl from The Well? Yeah. But it's a boy. And he's little. Like, I don't think how many kids are going to be like, oh, yeah, that's a scary chick from the ring. That's Zamora from the ring. He ended up at first because everybody knew who it was. Oh, man. Obviously. And at first, he was like, it's a dress. You know, I'm a boy. And then when he put it together, he had so much fun scaring the crap out of everybody. Yeah. With a video. Wow. Okay. Thank you, Lucy. That's crazy. P1 Denon? Yeah, it's a weird name, man. What's up, Denon? Not much. I want to say hi to Mikey, Sky, and Ash. I just want to also tell you about my mom's creation she had me when I was like six. Wait a minute. What about Robbie? What about Sean? What happened there? Oh, yeah, them too. When I was young, my mom dressed me up as what the cat drug in. What was it? Basically, I was in sweatpants, a white sweatshirt, and my mom stuffed a bunch of twigs, leaves, and...
Who knows what up my shirt, you know, so it was coming out my sleeves and the neck of my shirt and everything, and then she told me to roll around in the dirt. Sounds like me after a day in the garden. Gopher Cops this year? That's right, yes. I have plenty. That's the most popular item this year. It's coming off the shelves, gophers. You can't find them anywhere. For some reason, they're on top of people's minds. Oh, gopher zombie. Look at that. Yeah, look at me. I'm from the dead. Oh, no. You know how you asked about the brother and sister thing? Yeah. I'm pretty sure that when I was really little, my mom made me and my sister dress as Raggedy Ann and Andy. I can't remember it, but I do think I saw pictures. How crappy is that? I know it, man. Moms just, they want to do stuff that's cute. Yeah, they want you to be cute. They want it to be cute. Awful.
You guys know my wife's friend, Erica. Yeah. She's dressing their kids up as a flower and a bumblebee. Oh, no. Look at the girls. What is he doing? Remember Costa wore that bumblebee outfit that one year? That's right. Best costume ever. P1 Mike. Mike, you there? Hey, am I on? Yes, you are. Okay. Well, one year, me and my brother were probably about... Six and seven, maybe. Uh-huh. The rest of us up is peanut butter and jelly. How does that work? You know those sandwich boards? Yeah. Yeah. You have those cut out like jars. One of us had a... Okay. One of us had a piece of styrofoam toast. I like all these ideas. The other had a cardboard knife coated with tinfoil.
And then we had these leads for hats. There is a big difference between that and Zamora from The Ring. Really? They're both equally scary. Yes. Yes, they are. Hey, dude, thank you. P1 James, you there? Yes, I am. What were you? I was a bunch of great. How did she do it? My mom dressed me up in a green little stretch suit, you know, a little kid's onesie. And she put green balloons all over me from head to toe, put a little green hat on me, and had little ribbons, like, stretched out and curled for the little body sticking out everywhere. That's cool. That's creative. And I felt like such a fool. Of course. And she probably took a million pictures of you. Oh, yeah. You know what would be the worst about the balloon thing, too, is it's like... little punk kids are probably going to be trying to pop the balloon. And then it's like, oh. You come out of it with anxiety by the end of the day. You're stuck in your little leotard with a balloon. It's hysterical. Oh my. I'm sure there's a lot of dads out there that are just like, they're tripping out because they don't want their son to be all cutesy, you know. They probably want their son to be like, cool.
My mom tried to make me be an M&M one year, and I refused. Really? Yeah. How was she going to do it? She cut out giant circular felt things, like grain giant circular felt things, and did one of those iron-on presses of an M. And then she had two pieces of wire or something that would hold them out. And you just put it on. White little gloves. Leggings. I'm like, no way, dude. Not fair. Let's see. Sky has the blockbuster poll on the best TV president. What does that mean, Sky? The best president on television. So, like, you know, you watch a show that has a president as a character. That dude from 24, the black guy. That dude.
What's his name? President Palmer. Thank you. Couldn't think of him for a second. I'm sorry. U.S. President David Palmer is the number one choice. She is so happy. Number one. He is the favorite on-screen president, according to the blockbuster. She was offended that you didn't know and give respect to President Palmer. President Palmer. That's right. He also won for sexiest president. Which one are you talking about, Sky? Because there were two President Palmer's face. Obviously the first, Joseph. Obviously the handsome one. The bigger one. That's right. He is handsome. But anyway, so who do we think got number two and number three? What about Martin Sheen? Yeah, Martin Sheen, number three. President Josiah Bartlett from the West Wing. So you're just missing number two. Number two. President Logan from 24. How dare you? He's a villain. He's a villain. Who's the president? I don't know.
Yeah, when this person was announced... Are we going to know it, Skye? Well, when this person was announced that they would be playing a president on television, it did make quite a bit of news. Oh, Sigourney Weaver. No, Gina Davis. Is that who it was? Gina Davis, President Mackenzie Allen of Commander-in-Chief. The most believable. She was the most believable president. She is number two. Great list. Thank you. Thank you for the list. That was the worst list in the history of all time. In the history of lists. Let's see. How dare you. NBC's ordered a full season of Knight Rider. Yeah. Anybody watching that? That's what I'm saying. I don't even think Sean's watching it. Yeah, if Sean hates it. I watched it. I watched it. But it was really bad. Really bad. Oh, that must be awful. And the budget is like, it's got to be microscopic because the, you know, the sets, the effects, they're all just terrible. If Sean thinks that sets and effects are awful, what must they be like? Atrocious. Tragedy. Don't go away. When we come back. When we come back, Sky's got a list of the 10 jobs with the highest fatality rates in 07.
What would that be? Text us, 35253. Call us, 570-1053. Did I mention Chris Cornell will be coming into this studio? He will be in studio. Whoa, yeah. Awesome. Best male vocalist of my lifetime. Here's an easy one. To improve mileage, come by Chevron and fill up with air. That's right, air. When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Can't remember? Then it's definitely been too long. Did you know even tires in good shape can lose about one pound of pressure a month? And underinflated tires make your engine work harder, lowering your mileage. But don't overinflate them. You can usually find the recommended tire pressure on a sticker located on the driver's side door jamb. And speaking of air...
Air conditioning is not so hot for your car's mileage either. Whenever you turn it on, it puts an added strain on your engine. Now, at highway speeds, it's probably better to use the A.C. rather than roll down the windows because of the aerodynamics. But around town, enjoy the fresh air. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. Concert information from Rock 105. Have you heard the ads for Prop 8? The ones about teaching marriage in schools? They're absolutely not true, says California's superintendent of public schools. Prop 8 has nothing to do with schools or kids. Our schools aren't required to teach anything about marriage, says our school superintendent. And using kids to lie about that is shameful. Our laws should treat everyone equally. All eight major California newspapers agree. Regardless of how you feel about marriage, it's wrong to eliminate fundamental rights. No on 8. Let the good times roll. KIOZ FM San Diego. Hit it. Perfect. Kokochi. Sean is eating a dark green and brown Asian food. Where does he get this stuff? And it's made with date puree, oats, dried banana, brown rice, and syrup. So disgusting. Sounds good. That's brown rice syrup, Mike. Brown rice syrup. Yeah, they pulverize the brown rice and then make a syrup out of the pulp. It looks like a brick. It looks like a brick of alfalfa. Well, I don't know about that. It does. It looks like a brick of alfalfa. Yeah, you're right. All right, I need... Oh, yeah, we're going to do the jobs of the highest fatalities in just a second, but I need to know if this picture going around the Internet of the spider is...
Let it go, bro. Well, it looks so fake. It's on a news story. It's a story from MSN. It's a gigantic spider in New Zealand or something. And it's got a bird in its mouth. And the bird's the size of a pigeon. A human being. Yeah. So imagine how big the spider is. Right. Send Sean the link so he can see this. Send me the link. I'll tell you if it's real or not. Send me the PSTL. Because there's two pictures, and one picture looks majorly fake. Like, you know, like somebody went to Michael's and bought a little bird. The bird looks like a... What do you think? That's where you find stuff like that. The bird in the first picture looks like a stuffed animal. Yeah, like it looks like one of those, like, styrofoam ones, and then they put all the feathers on the outside, you know? Let's see. MSNBC. Yeah. Yeah. Is... I don't... believe it, Sky. I don't believe it either. Where part of the country is that in? Queensland. Oh, so it's in Australia? Yeah. And it's definitely possible. Australia's got real creepy. Crazy creatures. Creepy items. Whatever, Mike. Yeah, Mike. Well, it's taking forever, Sean. It's because every listener on the planet is on there. Oh my gosh. This is not. Sky, I don't believe it's MSN because
It's like news.9msn.com. Yeah, it's like MSN linked to a story from maybe an Australian news source. Well, then, like, what's his name? We got Zethi and Oates going on and trying to Google this spider called the Golden Orb Weaver. Yeah. Yeah, the pictures that I've seen, the spider cannot be that big. Or it's like the world's smallest bird. Haven't you ever seen, what is it, Space Troopers? What's that stupid movie called? Spaceballs? No. Starship Troopers. Starship Troopers. Great movie, by the way. Awesome movie. That's what that creature's from. Great movie. Let me tell you something. If any of us ever walked in our backyard and we saw a spider that big, we would die. I would die literally from fright. That is crazy. Spiders are so gross, right? I just did something that is a pet peeve of mine. Don't ever let me say something like that again. I hate that. What? Well, they're not gross. That's a stupid word to describe it. That's something my wife would say. Icky is the word you're looking for? My wife would go, oh, they're so gross. Well, gross is like, you know. What Sean's eating. Yes. No. That's perfect. Exactly. Gross is that brick of alfalfa.
That's been compressed. That's what it is. That's not gross. It's creepy. Picture we're looking at. Google. That looks pretty real, bro. Put it on the website, Sean. Google it. Googly googly googly. Googly googly. Googly googly. Googly googly. Googly googly. Googly googly. Googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly. Googly googly googly googly. Googly googly googly Let's see if we can find other pictures of the golden old. All right. Quickly then, mate. Ash, you afraid of anything like that, you know, spiders or anything? No, I was just thinking, actually, because yesterday, because I'm not scared of spiders. Like, they don't bother me at all. And yesterday I saw a spider on my counter, and I, like, had just gotten out of the shower. So normally what I do is, like, I'll save the spider. Like, if I ever see a spider in my house, like, I...
put it on a napkin, and I take it outside, and I save it. And I couldn't because I was, like, just got wet and disheveled out of the shower, so I had to kill it with the back of my face wash, and I felt so bad. Ew. You mean the container of the face wash? Yeah, I had to, like, kill it. And the worst part about it was it, like, fell off the counter and then was, like, limping, still trying it, and I felt so guilty. But you're going to touch that face wash, man. Gross. I wiped it off. Keyword spider. But you said spider. You dig the hole. You start. Dance for me. Most dangerous jobs, right? I can get this. I can get all of them. I watch America's Toughest Jobs on NBC. These are the top 10 jobs that had the highest rate of fatalities last year. Wouldn't it still be those crab guys? Yeah, the fishermen. For sure. Number one, fishing and related fishing workers. Number one. Dude, I don't know how they do it. Hang on a second. How much they make doing that? Like $35,000 for first year. First year, guys. Well, it depends what they bring in, right? Yeah. Wait, wait, wait. $35,000 for the first year, guys? That's what they said on America's Toughest Job. Dude, that's crazy. Why would they do that for $35,000? I know on Deadliest Catch, it depends what they bring in. You know, their take. Yeah.
35K? Some guys, those greenhorn guys, the guys that are like first year guys, they don't make as much as the guys that have been on the boat. No, no, no, no, no. You know, the breakdown is different, but yeah, that sounds about right. And they're only working like a month or two out of the year. Still, man. Yeah. I mean, that's their job for the whole year. Rob would make a great crab fisherman. You should do it. Either that or stripper. All right, what else? Ice Road Truckers. The Bear and the Boy Blunder Story. Yes, those guys. Really? News Girl. Well, number eight, Eddie, is Driver, Truck Driver. Domino's. Wait, just because you almost got car jacked. Yeah, almost got pizza jacked. Pizza jacked. Logger. Mike, do you have any texts? Logging markers are number two. Let me see if I have any texts. Yeah, why don't you check that? Yeah, this one says the most dangerous job.
Security guard at the Honey Baked Ham store when Skye's jonesing. Oh, dang. Oh, I'm sure. Oh, I'm sure. Are there any other texts, Mike? Yeah, there's another one here. Here we go. You're the worst, Rob. Thank you, Eddie. Mikey, I hear the most dangerous job is working at the mall. Signed, P1 Hamaholic. Mikey, what about the dangerous job of working at the Kaiser helpline? That's P1 Jokester. I mean, that one doesn't even matter. Co-paste factory? Co-paste factory workers. What is going on outside our window? I don't know. Open the window, Eddie. What do we got? Throw the window open. What do we got? Open the window. What the heck is going on? I saw T-Rex. I don't know. He sent... setting up some sort of like romantic dinner. Oh my gosh, that's hysterical. There's a little table with a vase with a rosebud and two champagne glasses. Dinner for two. And he's in his car. Champagne flutes. Champagne flutes. My bad. Toast. I don't know what he's doing. Let him finish, man. Yeah, don't rush him. Don't rush. Hey, Ash.
I think I have a music bed called Romance. See if you could find it. Romance. Let the romance begin. I do have one called Romance. Sure, yeah. What are you doing, T-Rex? Let the romance begin. Fantastic. What's he doing? I don't know. Where did he go? Did he park like a block away? Is he having to get more stuff to set up? Sweetberry wine! Mikey Show. Hi, can I still go in and buy tickets for Boo Ball at the station? Nope, sold out. Sold out. Sold out. Oh, it's my birthday on Boo Ball. Hey, Zeth, do we got any more to give away? Let me check. Hang on, Eddie. Eddie, do I have an eyelash? Hang on, lady. Bummer. Do you think that they'll have any more? Hang on. Relax. We do not. What are you going to dress as? A gladiatrix. Gladiatrix. We can find a pair of tickets. It's all sold out.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry about that. Check with maybe Missy or BC or Clint later today. Maybe they have some for giveaways. All right. Awesome. Thank you. You got it. Let's see. Mikey, this is the cheapest Halloween costume ever. My mom put drumsticks in my hand and called me a drummer. At least put one arm in and be the Def Leppard drummer. Oh, wow. That would work. One year, I was a black-eyed pea. Black eye makeup under one eye and a cardboard letter P on my chest. So, do you want to finish the most dangerous jobs? So, so far, you got fishing, fisher workers, logging workers, and drivers, truck drivers. Bull riders. Bull riders, good. Yeah? Yeah. No. Priced riders. Audio clown. Guides. What? Glacier guides. Yeah. It was last week on.
Drug dealer. Drug dealer? Sacagawea. What about... Drummer and Spinal Tap. Oh, drummer and Def Leppard. Drummer. Secret Service. President. President-elect. President on TV. Gina Davis. Batman villain. Gina Davis. Oh. Rahom. What about... Rahom. Rahom. Rahom. Yeah. Oh. King Cobra trainer. You guys are making this too hard. What about alligator? Boxers. Shark from Jaws. Oh. Peppet. Peppet. Peppet. Peppet. Peppet. Peppet. Come on, Peppet. Come on, Peppet. Peppet. Um. Those are filled with compressed air. Just a swimmin' with bow-legged women.
Shut up. Dangerous job. Trash man. Number nine. What? Garbage, recycling. Why is it dangerous? Because, dude, disease, man. Polio, stuff like that. Why is it dangerous? Polio? Because, dude. Well, no, it's not dangerous, Rob. They found a cure. They've got a vaccine. They've got a vaccine for it. Because it's so dangerous. They've eradicated it. It's no longer. No more. So, let's see. There is T-Rex, and he is now lit little one, you know, the little candles that are the number one on some cupcakes. Three in one. Oh, three in one. He's just poured some champagne. Outside the window of the studio. Are you going to go out there and sit in your seat? I don't know if that seat is for me. Oh, come on. It's for Rob. Don't mind if I do. All willy-nilly. You know? Ash, did you find romance? Let the romance begin. There you go. What about pilot? Yes. Pilots and flight engineers number three.
What about people that put their faces in lion's mouths? Yeah, lion mouth faces. What about lion mouth faces? I think this is deteriorating. Oh, gladiator. Hey, what about like... Gladiator. Oh, good one. Pit bull agitators. Yeah. What is going on? I'm giving Sky the hotline so she can go out there. All right. Get out of here, you crazy kid. You've earned it. Oh, this is so weird. This guy's on his cell phone. Ridiculous. I'm going to switch. Is this really happening? Yeah, I'm going to go over. Come on this side. Oh, hold on. Can you come around the board? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Hold on the board, guys. I thought... What does the sign say? What does the sign say? T-Rex is just sitting there. Yeah, T-Rex is... It says, happy birthday, O. T-Rex is out there.
T-Rex is out there and he's waiting for her. He's got the little... Does he have a job? I don't know. I'm looking at T-Rex outside of our window right now. What's going on? He has a table set up. Do we have a camera? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Great idea, Eddie. Oh, my God. Rob, we'll take pictures. This is so weird right now. And our big boss Bob Bollinger is walking by. It's my birthday. If you want one, he's fine. 25 is a great year. Thank you. What did he say? 25 is a great year. Oh, yeah. 21. We'll be renewing. Sky's sitting down now. Sky's sitting down. So, Sky, can you do me a favor? Yeah. Hand the phone to T-Rex. I want to ask him what this is all about. Okay, hold on. All right, let's talk to T-Rex. Hey, guys, what's going on? Hi there, you big, handsome black guy. What are you doing? I'm just trying to make a nice little romantic birthday. with man sky that is so sweet of you that is so sweet and so uh why don't you describe to everybody what you brought down here today t-rex well i bought a little champagne for the both of us so you know i have to do my toes and he just looked at me and he just looked at me and mouth and it says has a 31 on it
Celebrating her 31st birthday. Tell her to blow out those candles, T-Rex. Yeah, blow out the candles and make a wish. Oh, yeah. Toast first. We have to toast. Yeah, toaster. To a beautiful woman who loves him and loves the world. Wow, that's really good. Really, really good. They're drinking champagne. That's the best toast ever. Sky is going for it. Drinking on the job. The best stuff in the house. I'm not renown, you guys. Skye, is it real champagne? I'm going to blow out my candles. Oh, she's drunk already. Skye, is that real champagne? It's like Saturday night all over again. I know it. Oh, no. Is that real champagne? I don't think so. Oh, is it like, I don't know. Apple. It's poison. It's gasoline. Go ahead, blow out your candles. Okay, here we go. I've got to put my champagne down so I don't set my hair on fire. Okay, hold on.
Oh, God. Yay, me! I did it. How embarrassing. She's giving him a hug. He's like 9'4", by the way. Okay, you guys want me to come back in? Yeah, come back inside. Nah. Okay, bye-bye. She's taking another drink of her... What is reshaw-gutting it? That is champagne, by the way. That's so weird. No doubt in my mind. That is so strange. Oh, that's funny. Now they're taking pictures together. We'll get this right on the website. Oh, I love it so much. Now Skye is beer bonging the champagne, which is weird. That's so weird. Oh, that's fantastic. Why a romantic birthday? I don't know. With T-Rex. Like, that's the odd part. I know. Doesn't make any sense, but hey, listen. Hey, whatever. To each their own. To each their own. It made her happy. Yeah, that's right. That matters. Guy loves Skye. He loves him some O. Yeah. Yeah. What can you do? She was down in that champagne, too. Leg, leg, leg, leg, leg. 5701053. Our text is 35253. That was so funny, man. Wait till we get these pictures on. We'll put them on right away. Out of the blue. I'm tired and my shoulder hurts. Really become an old man. You should have some champagne.
Some champagne. I can't, though. It'll make you feel better. No, I can't have it. Loosen you up. I'm not allowed. You can't have a lot, but you can't have a little. No, if you just get a little taste of it on your lips. Just right on your lips. No, you can't do that. I'm not allowed, you guys. It tastes so good, though. How was that? It was cute. What was that all about, Skye? I don't understand. It's great. It was just very sweet. It was. Was it romantic? It was very romantic. Are you drunk? Wow, if I wasn't a married woman, huh? She's wasted. You know what I'm saying? That's right. You know what I'm saying, guys? They're sweet. Take it easy when you sit down. Crime! What's going on? What does that mean? Oh, because I'm drunk. Oh, yeah. I just think because you're drunk, you might fall over. Peanut Noor? 570-1053 is our number. Give us a call at the beginning and end of every show. Mike Singletary got announced as the 49ers' new head coach yesterday.
We got audio, Eddie? I think so. Yep. Yeah, he was talking about, you know, this conversation about taking the job. Before I could say a word, he said, I want you to understand something. I want you to take this job. And shove it. I don't even want you to blink. I want you to take this job. Because I know that you have the heart of the players at hand. And I know that they're important to you. I know that you will be fair to the coaching staff. Thanks, Singh. Thanks, man. I know you can bring it together. All right. That was perfect. That's it. What we have built together has come to an end. All right, guys. Thank you. And that's Mike Singletary. I want you to take it to the next level. Thank you, Mike. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. I'm not done. I'm not done. No, no, no, no. I think that was perfect. That was well said. Before I could say a word. No, Mike, Mike. No, no, no. That's perfect. I'm a man. I'm 40. I want you to understand something. Uh-huh.
Thank you. Thank you. That was Mike Singletary. There he was. Before I could say a word. Thank you, everybody that came here today. Mike's not going to answer any more questions. Mike, thank you so much. I want you to take this job. Sing. Thanks, buddy. Thank you so much for doing this for us, okay? But I haven't talked about the hearts of the players in my hands. Hold on. I have it written down. Mike, please. Can you turn his mic off? Mike, that was perfect. The hearts are beating. You said that perfectly, Mike. You said that perfectly. All over my hands. Leave it at that. Leave it at that. Leave it on a high note. Let's leave it on a high note. It's perfect. Any questions? Send to anybody but Mr. Singletary. He's had a fever. He's had a fever, and he's not feeling good at all and doesn't want to answer any questions. My aorta is filled with pride. What? Michael. Mikey Show. Hello. I was actually one of those greenhorns. Out there in Alaska last year. A greenhorn. Wow, really? For the crab fishing? Right, right. Oh, that's what a greenhorn is? Yes. I didn't know what a greenhorn was. It's one of those guys. It goes out there. I think when you're the first year, you're called a greenhorn. Why do they call it greenhorn? Just because we're so new. I don't think it was worth the money. I got paid $2,600. And, I mean, it was...
But you catch one crab. Yeah, no kidding. 2,600. How long were you out there? How long? We were out there three weeks. 2,600, three weeks. Was it cash? Yes, yeah. Was it hard? Oh, it was. Mikey, I've never been so tired in my life. When I got back, I was like, I'm never doing this again. I bet. You guys are hardcore. I guess that's how they kind of weed out the people that want it. People that don't? I mean, I didn't want it. Did you see it on TV and want to do it? No, no, no. I wasn't on TV, but I mean, it was a good experience. Eddie's asking you, though, dude, did you see it on TV and that's what got you interested in it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like, I just packed up and I was like, I'm going. Wow. So you just drove up there.
Then hung out by the docks until you got picked up, or how'd you do this? How did you do it? Was there an application? Monster.com? Yeah. I went up there, and they have, like, you know, billboards and stuff. You can call, like, the boats and everything. Did Bob Eatman get you this job? No, I knew it. It sounds like an Eatman deal to me, if we're being honest. Big time. No. I don't know. I just kept calling them, and one guy got hurt, and he's like, do you want to do it? And then they interviewed me, and I was like, yeah, I do. I need you to... Oh, Bob. Hey, it's Bobby. Hi, Bob. It's a Mikey Show's agent. Yeah, it's nice. The guy on the phone, can you put him on hold? Because he owes me $40,000. Wow, but he only made $2,600. Yeah, Bob. Right. He owes me $40,000. That's a pretty crappy deal. Oh, he just hung up. He just hung up. You scared him off, Bob. I'm having Lisa call you. You're still listening. I wouldn't bother. I need your routing number. Routing number? It's so easy to go to HR. Is he still going to get the holiday fruit basket, or is he off the list now that he didn't pay?
We're not doing the fruit basket this year. We're doing a real cute Cracker Jack thing. But every year you send the basket. Same basket. This year it's a shoe box with a box of Cracker Jacks. Tough times, huh, Bob? No, it's cute. Lisa made it. Speaking of Lisa, why don't you guys put the routing number and just email it to your HR department. Oh, fine. Make a direct deposit. Right. We got it. And then you don't even have to think about it. Okay. It's better if you just do it. I know. I hate thinking about it. Yeah, you want your money. We know. I understand you guys had to stay at different places when you went to Denver this year. That is true. Oh, why didn't you tell me? Well, you were supposed to have taken care of that. I would have done something about that. We're leaving tomorrow. The only reason I can't now is because it already happened. Well, yeah. That's what I'm saying. If it ever happened again, I would definitely make sure that didn't happen. You wouldn't stand for it, would you, Bob? Bob, you're the best. You guys, the routing number is the first seven numbers. We understand. We will. It's so easy to send to HR. And then you don't have to worry about it. When you get paid, it just comes directly out of your check to me. Yeah, we know. Robert Eatman, Robert Eatman Enterprises. Yes, we understand. Congratulations. Yeah, I love that guy. The good dude when you get him. Yeah. I mean, Mikey show. I got a funny spider story.
Tell you guys. So I'm a big guy. I'm three and I weigh about 300 pounds. I go to get in the shower. I'm definitely afraid of spiders. And there's this tiny daddy long legs in there and everyone's asleep. And everyone's asleep and I'm the only one awake. And I'm standing there and I sit and I make the highest pitched wheel in the world. Like an AO scream? Yeah, exactly. I can't even do it as high as I can. It was bad. That's fantastic. Daddy long legs of all of the spiders. Yeah, those are like the most harmless, the daddy long legs. Good spiders. I don't know that they're good. Are they? They are good spiders because they kill. They kill intruders. They'll catch and kill bad bugs. Is it? I heard they turn on the faucet and flood your apartment.
I mean, out of nowhere, Eddie? That's what I heard. Where did you hear that? That was a genuine laugh. I didn't see it coming. I didn't see it coming. I didn't see it coming. I didn't see it coming. That was the thing. Long legs. I just kind of tickled my face. I was like, wow. Uh-oh, hello. Unbelievable. That was a drive-by flooding right there. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey. Yo. Hey, you guys forget about Ramsey's job. That's one of the dangerous ones. What is it? Oh, yeah, Ramsey? Dude, white manservant? They barely make it. They're lucky when they do. What, Skye? Nothing. P1 Talon. What? I love him to death. Oh, no. Well, you know how he's big into, like, spiders and snakes and stuff like that? So the whole time we were talking about spiders, he keeps emailing me fun facts.
So just right now, because that one guy said Daddy Long Leg, he says, Daddy Long Legs have extremely potent venom, but their teeth are too small to bite humans. That's all about him. Oh, man. He's just so, like, into it. He likes spiders. What are you going to do? He loves spiders. He loves them. Any kind of, yeah. Greetings, Taylor. I love you. Mikey Show, hello. Hello. Hello, hello, hello. Hello, hello, hello. Mikey Show, hello. Thank you. Excuse me. Oh, he's talking to Ashley. Mikey Show, hello. That's how Ashley ends every joke. Every joke is funniest with a poof at the end of it. Oh, it's so good. Even her birthday card. That's right. Can we talk about it? Oh, come on. Yes. Ash was like, I got Sky the best card, and Ashley and Eddie are fighting over who got the best card. Yeah. I mean, I really expected her to. Have this killer birthday card. I thought it was going to be a cat. Oh, and it was. And I was like, oh, maybe hers is going to be better than mine. Mine was the best. I put some serious thought into picking that up. She opens Eddie's card up first, and it's hysterical, man. It's like it's this take on the high school musical, but it's high school mew as in like M-E-W, right? It's all cats. And it's all cats and stupid and funny. It's so Sky. So Sky, of course, flips out over it.
And we're like, you know, and I'm thinking, what kind of cat thing did Ashley get? And Ashley's card is an old man and a fart joke. So awesome. And Sky goes, well, I guess I won't comment on the competition between you two. It was the funniest card. It was pink. funny. Oh, boy. Yeah, but Seth got honorable mention for his card made out of macaroni that he glued with a hot glue gun. And burnt himself, by the way. Took him an hour. Took him an hour. He glued macaronis on a card and said, happy birthday, Sky, you know. Guy gave up his dinner for that card. That's right. Yeah, he did. Mikey Show, who's this? Hello. What's up? What's going on, man? I was just calling. I was in Alaska fishing last year, too. You were. I was. How long? Chignig, Alaska, salmon fishing. Really? Yeah, it was crazy. It wasn't as bad. I was up there for three and a half months. On a boat? Like 35 grand. On a boat? Wow. On a boat, yeah. Imagine. How do they catch salmon in a boat? Nets? Basically, they call it a seine. It's like a big net.
They stretch it out with a smaller boat that we towed behind the big boat, and they stretch it out and then bring it around, and they let it sit out there, let it soak for about 20 minutes, and then they haul all the fish in, and they call it the money bag. They haul that on. Sweet. Thank you. It's pretty crazy, but I fell off the boat like three times. Oh, my God. You mean because of the waves, like rogue waves? Nah, he's drinking on the job. Yeah, I'm like bourbon. Yeah, what it was is since I was a greenhorn, they put you in the very back of the boat with the net. And when the net comes on, it's so big on a smaller boat that you got to walk on like the back edge and it's like probably like three inches wide that you're walking on. You're walking, you get hit like blindside by like 20 foot waves on the side and they'll hit and knock you off and you got to climb like back up the net all curiously. It's pretty crazy. That sounds fun. That does not sound fun. Really? That sounds very dangerous. It sounds dangerous and way more manly than I am. Yeah, it's pretty exact. There's jellyfish coming out of the net hitting you in the face. Okay. No, thank you. No wonder they pay you guys good, man. Thanks for the call, brother. Mikey Show. Mikey, how you doing? It's T. What's up, T? I just want to call in and wish Skye a happy birthday up here from the Bay Area. There you go.
Oh, Taheen. Yeah. How did I recognize him before you recognized him? It took a while. Hey, T, thank you. I just wanted to call, and I know it's been a couple weeks, but congratulate you guys on another awesome 28-hour show. Thanks, T. Thank you, T. I only got about 16 hours of it, but... Weak. I was thinking of all the guys. I was in Tahoe this last weekend also, so... Nice. So that's how you do that. Yeah, Taheen was at Eddie's bachelor party in Tahoe. Thanks, Taheen. We appreciate it, dude. All right, man. Good talking to you guys. Thanks, brother. Later, team. Mikey Show. Hello. Mikey Show. Oh, who is it? What? Great call. Yeah, right. What? That was our huge facts of the day. Now. What's going on, Mike? Mikey Shell, last call. Bring us home. Hey, man. Mikey. Steve Vai has really no comparison to Eddie Van Halen. Sound-wise, not even close. Technically, yes, but Eddie's got a unique sound, and David Lee Rothman never sounded like Van Halen. Oh, dude, I appreciate you making the same point I made. That's really cool. That's what I was saying.
Dude, that's what I was saying. What you're missing out with the DLR band is that he brought in Billy Sheehan, who blew them all off. Jim Sheehan. Yeah, Jim Sheehan was the promotion director at KSGO. No, brother, my point was is what they tried to do is Templeman, the producer, he tried to get the same sound as Eddie Van Halen's guitar, the sound. Sounds like Templeman, huh? The only thing that they even came close to, Mikey, is that they've taken finger tap. Hey, bro. Yeah, Eddie's giving me the look like he's not listening to you. You're not listening to me. I can't hear you over the thing anyway. Yeah, the ES machine is running. Total Templeman. Oh, come on. No, I wish we could communicate better, you and I. We can't. We can't. Talk about it. Uh-uh, I'm breaking up with him. No, don't. I've tried. He wants to be with you. All the years you guys have put in. Think of Templeman. Think of our baby Templeman. What was she going to do? He's not listening to me. Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth? Yes, I do, brother. I probably phrased a little wrong. I truly believe that they're both incredible guitar players.
and Templeman tried to overproduce those DLR albums. All right. But I should have said, brother. Let's agree to agree. Brother. Thank you very much, brother. Hey, man, I wish they all could be California girls. Yeah. Templeman! Come on. We got to go home. Bye. Bye-bye. We'll come back here to do it tomorrow morning at 5.30. Have a good day. Have a good day.
