The show opened with Mikey, Woods, Lauren O’Brien (LOB), and Jay discussing their disrupted sleep schedules, a series of Vista bank robberies, and a mistaken John Parr link to Denver. They then covered tech gossip about a 4‑mm TV and Apple TV, praised the Human Planet documentary, and recapped a Burning Man bus trip where Jay returned shaved. Later, Woods detailed NFL coaching changes, sang the national anthem a cappella, had his pants pulled by Jay, and kicked him in retaliation. The program closed with news about the Red Hot Chili Peppers postponement and a survey showing few people would report Mile High Club activity.

Hosts discuss their early wake‑up times, a string of Vista bank robberies, and the mistaken belief that John Parr remade St. Elmo’s Fire for Tim Tebow.

At 5.30 all the way until 9 a.m. So you can call us if you want to, 570-1949. Open the show up to you, anything you want to talk about. How are you doing with the new 5.30? Well, you know me, I wake up so early. Yeah, I'm still out of whack with my alarm clock. I used to have it down so packed. Me too, I know. And now I'm like, what time do I have to get up? I still don't know what time I really need to be here. What time do you get up now? 3.30? Yeah. But I try to be here by 4. How do you do that? Well, it takes me 10 minutes to get ready, and then it's about a 20-minute drive. Yeah. So I get up like 3.15, 3.30. I'm out of whack. I get up at the same time as him. I get here like half an hour later. Wow. Yeah. It's girls. Hey, Woods was saying it before we went on the air about how there's a lot of bank robberies around here. Yes. There is, man. Now they're looking for a bank robber in Vista.
They just robbed a Vista on Vista Village. He should make himself more noticeable. He has a nice red hat on and a sweatshirt that says Hollywood Park on it. You might want to go a little more conspicuous. They were showing him on TV. He has bright clothing. A lot of times they're choosing ones that are close to the freeway. They're choosing banks that are close to the freeway because it can get away real easy. So, do you guys remember the song St. Elmo's Fire? Of course. John Parr, right? John Parr. I don't know if John Parr is from Denver, but for whatever reason, John Parr has redone St. Elmo's Fire for Tim Tebow. You know, I couldn't understand the words 20 years ago. I can't understand them now. I can't understand them now. I don't get it. Nor do I. Why do that? Well, it's called the cash-in. Yeah. He must be from Denver. That's got to be the case. Well, also, we're on a morning radio show talking about John Parr. Yeah. When was the last time he was talked about before? That's true. Somebody just went and downloaded St. Elmo's Fire. Yeah. Oh, man. Let's see. And then, also, they unveiled this in Las Vegas at this big...
electronics thing that they do in Las Vegas, it's going to be the thinnest TV in the world. Okay? It's only going to be four... They showed it. It's four millimeters thick. Holy cow. Yeah, I've seen it. It's a 55-inch TV. It only weighs 16 and a half pounds. Whoa. And for $5,000, you can have one at the end of the year. That's the only... What size was it again? Downside, I guess. 55-inch? 55-inch. That's pretty good. That's still a good... What's the price for a 55-inch TV? $5,000? It depends on the quality of the TV. Yeah, you can get good 55-inch TVs right now for $1,000. Wow. For sure. I beg to differ. You can. Not good. Yeah, you can. You can get one, but you're looking for one that has high lines of resolution and all that kind of stuff? I think you can get, well, we'll see. Well, you're in the know, Mike, about a lot of Apple products and that.
Their new hot thing that's going to be coming out sometime is that Apple TV. Do you have any idea how much that thing will go for? Not a clue. Not one clue? No, because there's not a lot out there in terms of what it's even going to do. And they can't call it Apple TV because they've already got a product called Apple TV. I heard somewhere. ITV sounds good. ITV sounds real good. I heard somewhere that you will be able to say, let's say into your remote control or some sort of voice activation, I'd like to watch season four of Dexter, episode three. And it'll bring it up. There it is. Well, yeah, because of the Siri integration. That's what they have on iPhone right now. They got a voice-activated thing called Siri. What, Woodsy? That's so awesome. You like it. Oh, I want it. Yeah. Maybe. I'll have to wait 15 years to get it, but I'll get it. You know what doesn't make sense to me, though, is... But what about right now my universal remote control that... Yeah, you throw that out of the garbage. Really? Yeah. They have to rewire the whole bit, dude. The whole thing's got to go when this thing comes in. Everything starts over. But if it's Apple, it'll probably easily integrate with anything else. I hope so. That would be great. Oh, yeah. This will be the day that you know that I'll be happy. The day that there's no more wires. Yeah. Never a wire ever again. The day that the back of your TV set doesn't look like a bird's nest. Yeah. But you never see it.
What do you mean? You never see the back of your TV unless you're working on it. I know, but that's the deal. Right now, because of all those wires, I can't do simple things myself. Right. Because I don't know what all that stuff does. Man, get everything to sync up and like... Wouldn't it be great if there was no wires and it all just did it by itself? Sure would. It'd be fantastic. No more download times. I'm still in love with Netflix on the internet and it going in straight through my DVD player. I stick my DVD player on, Netflix comes through it, and I've been watching that more than anything. Do you like the quality of it? Yeah. Do you? Yeah, it's high definition. Gosh, man, when we did it through our Wii, at my old house we had it, and I'm like, oh boy, the quality, this is terrible. If you have high definition, which we did, I don't get it. Were you hooking up wirelessly? No, through the Wii. Yeah, you're probably going wireless. It depends on your connection then, too, internally. Mine was garbage. It just looked bad? Yeah, it looked bad. It was grainy. It looked like when my dad used to tape movies off of Showtime free weekends. And I'd be like, oh, great. This was grainy, and the audio quality wasn't great. I've watched some shows that aren't high definition on streaming Netflix, and they're not that bad, yeah.
I mean, but all I watch is documentaries. That's a true statement. Documentary TV, documentary movies. And my wife has been watching How I Met Your Mother. She started episode one. She's working her way up. My wife has a new show that she is now obsessed with and watched nine hours of on Sunday. What? Dance Moms. Dance Moms? Oh, man. Beg her not to tell Rebecca about it. Yeah. Dance moms will get you. What is it? Is it moms of kids who dance? Moms of kids who dance. And they're monsters, and the kids are little turds, which is interesting for like 15 minutes. But I looked last night on our DVR, and I'm like, why do we have 700 dance moms on here? Yeah. I am obsessed with human planets. Have you guys heard of that? No. Mike? What is it? You've got to jump on the bandwagon. I'll do it now. I'm writing it down. Human planet. Human planet. What is it? It shows you how different civilizations out there are living now that are kind of off the grid. Right. Still doing stuff. I saw this guy scale a tree, a 12-story high tree, to go get some honey. Amen. Oh, my gosh. Where? For his wife. He's like, my wife will be really happy. I was like, yeah, he's going to bring home that honey. Bring home the honey. Where does this man live? He was in, gosh, I want to say part of the bruise. I forget where it was.
All different places in one episode. They'll show you all these different things. He ain't from Mississippi. Right. No, no. He's not from Akron. It was like a rainforest. He got all the way up there. Then they showed these people build a tree house. And they have little kids just hanging off the edge. They're up there. That's awesome. Six stories up there. That's crazy. I hate, and you may be this way too, where you don't like watching TV shows that you've already seen. But I'm doing that now. episodes I've already seen of programs. The New Jersey Shore started. I made my boyfriend Matt watch an episode of that, and he was none too pleased. He didn't like it. He's like, this is what you do when I'm not here. Oh, gosh. Brain melter. Garbage. Terrible. My wife Rebecca said she won't watch... Jersey Shore because she knows herself too well, she'll get hooked on it. She doesn't have time. I realize that I'm polluting my mind and everyone around me, and I can't stop. It's a Big Mac of television. When you bite into it, you're like, oh my god, that's the best thing I've ever had. That's not good for you. But you know it's going to kill you. If you ever liked the real world shows, it's like that, but...
So much more fascinating. Makes my heart pound. I can't do it. I get stressed. It's like you're watching it on meth. Yes. Last time I watched that, I think Puck was on. Pale World, yeah. It's a long time. Early 90s. This is the trashy Guido version of the Puck. Oh, wow. 570-194-9. Is Burning Man coming to San Diego and is it coming to Balboa Park? Yeah. Burn it down. Well, here's the deal. Oh, no. A guy named Mark German was the person that they hired last year to do the big Balboa Park 100th anniversary exposition. Well, he is out and they're looking for a new person. And what they're saying is, is that the new person, they want him to think innovative. And one of the ideas that they have that. might be innovative, is to bring Burning Man to San Diego. Now, hang on. Hang on. Everybody just calm down. Hang on. It'll be a version of Burning Man. It won't be the Burning Man. That's what makes Burning Man Burning Man. It'll be a version of Burning Man that they're going to stick out there in the southeast corner of the park, an area right now called the Arizona Landfill. It's an area of Balboa Park.
out in the southeast corner of the park called the Arizona Landfill, which I had no idea existed. No. But the only thing worse than Burning Man in my eyes is Burning Man in San Diego. Oh, my gosh. It's lawless. I mean, there's no authorities inside. Caligula. It's Caligula. Well, I mean, it can be. Sodom and Gomorrah. Sodom and Gomorrah. It can be. It's almost like you have free reign to do what you want. Right. Are people just out there orging? There is. There was a slut shack. I'm a longtime member of VIP, Mike. Anything goes in there. Are you kidding me? I saw crazy stuff happen there. What do you think he was doing in there? I just wanted to go see what the heck was going on. I just wanted to see. I like the look. The art blows your mind. He just gave us the art bit. Are you really going to insult us? You just gave us the art bit. People will go out there and spend six months building
this incredible stone temple pilot deer bones. Yeah, I had sex, but I was actually a part of a tapestry. No bands, no corporate sponsors. It's art, babe. Intercourse. It's performance art. I was a human canvas. You had sex with her. I was a human canvas. I did not. That's part of the E in love. Yes, I had a wad of grapes shoved in my mouth and got painted on. What? I was a lowercase y when I was holding her, all right? I was a lowercase y. Granted, we were swaying y, but that was part of it. Even the night of the burn, I swear, everything in the place just gets burned to the ground. It's awesome. It's just like, oh, fire. Oh, it is. I mean, they burn the man, and there's no fence around this guy. He is 75. How tall? Yeah, you know, it was huge. It was probably 75 foot tall. Straw or what? Wooden? He's made out of wood, and for the first few days, his arms are down.
He's wood and neon, and he's built on all these haystacks. Does he look like the Blair Witch Project guy? He looks like triangles, and his head is like a diamond, I think. And then the last day, when you wake up, his arms are raised. And they're just huge. And when we were there, I was standing in the crowd. Everybody comes together. There's no fence, no nothing. Naked. No boundaries, Mike. My clothing was mud. Well, there was. There was this old man standing next to me going, man, that's amazing. And I'm like, yeah, that is me. I look down, and he's completely in peace. He's like 80 years old. So then out of the crowd, this guy right next to me burst into flames. This guy standing next to me burst into flames. A person? A person. runs up on the stage, stands beneath the guy, the flames lick off his arms up onto the Burning Man, and then he dives off the back. He was a stuntman, and that's how they started the burn that year. Holy crap. I would be like, babe, we're getting out of here. If this is how it begins, I've got to get out of here. Then they handed shovels to everybody, and if you wanted to, you could go help control the burn after he kind of falls.
Everybody goes and you see people later and they're just all ashy. It's like the rapture. Worked on the fire all night long. It's the end of days. It's the end of world. It was insane. I want to go again. I want to know. I have so many friends that go to this. Nobody can explain it to me. What's the significance of the burning man? Okay, the way this started was this guy. I'm going to make something up. No, this guy started. He was doing the burn on the beach. He broke up with his girlfriend. He gathered up all her crap. and all the crap that they had together, and burned it on the beach. And then a bunch of his friends showed up, so each year it got bigger and bigger and bigger. And finally they came up and said, hey, you can't do this here anymore. You've got to find a new home for it. So he did. I knew that part, but what about the man? Why are his arms down? Yeah, why isn't it a burning woman? Well, because it's a party. It's a party. Yeah, it's just, you know, burning man. What do they do out there? Is it concerts? Is it like Jay-Z play? There's no concerts. There's no corporate sponsors. Why do people go? As a matter of fact, the only thing. Heroin. No. Yeah, heroin is a big heroin mecca. big art show is what it ends up being. I saw this dance. Listen, I made out with a guy, but I didn't know it. First of all, I was on peyote. I was on peyote. I thought her name was Helen. The coolest, and this sounds crazy, the coolest play, but they had hundreds of people in outfits and they were all dancing and spinning and everything was on fire and it was insane. And this big ball comes rolling through the desert with
People inside of it and there's sound system in it. It's like a big circus. Nicole, have you been to it? Our 19-year-old phone screener hasn't been to Burning Man, but our 48-year-old producer has. I took 20 listeners with me. It was a radio station trip that I did. Wow. Maybe we make that right this year. Let's go. Let's do it. How many people? It's like 20 people. We bought an old school bus. Cut the top off of it. I almost got fired. I only brought 18 hits of acid. And Shauna almost fired me because I didn't bring enough acid for the listeners. The most normal guy on the trip. I was like, oh, yeah, he'll be okay. He came back. His entire body was shaved when he came back. It's always the normal people. The normal guy. Yeah, his body was shaved. I know because I shaved his neck. His eyebrows were gone. He had no hair on his head. Trust me. His eyebrows were gone. Oh, he's shaved. He's freaked out. I did it. There's a hot springs there. There's a hot springs there that I was like, oh, we rode our bikes to the hot springs. Complete nudity. Not a lick of clothes on anybody. Bill, raise your left leg up higher.
So I can get it. I can't get it. It's a hard to get spot. You're right. It is. It's hard to get spot. It is always the quiet normal. When we went to our senior trip in Cancun, Mexico, we were 18. There was a girl in our economics class. I'll never forget it. We landed, went and threw our stuff in the room. By the time we got down to the pool, this girl was topless. Oh, wow. Topless doing, well, a wet t-shirt contest, but topless and hovering. Over a fountain, like, with their hands. Oh, my gosh. We walked downstairs. We were like, oh, my gosh. She had, like, three drinks, and it was over. You go, oh, my gosh. Isn't that Sabrina from economics? Yeah, from economics. Was she shy and normal? So quiet and sweet and normal. Oh, my gosh. Like, hey, guys, do you want a copy of my homework? Like, that girl. It's always the quiet one. Yeah. And she got to Cancun and was like, ah! Oh, my God. I mean, just the whole thing. It's not always just the quiet ones. I remember coming back to camp, and I was responsible for cooking for everybody. I was completely covered in mud. All I had on was these little shorts. And by shorts, I mean a slingshot leather. It was. And I'm like, gross.
Barbecuing for people. Like, yeah, you ready for something? Want a burger? You ready for a burger? I'm making you a burger. Oh, my God. I want to go this year and be like a butterfly. Jay, the only reason that you and I weren't friends back in the day is because God wanted me to live. Yeah, exactly. Yes, absolutely. He wanted me to live. He wanted me to live, I think. If I'd known you back when I was crazy, oh, my gosh, the trouble we would have gotten. Oh, it scares me. That's a freaking fest. Yeah. It was a blast. We should all go as a show this year. Yeah, let's do it. Let's do it. Labor Day. There's not enough Librium in the world to get you out there. No. Tickets are bucks, man, too. You would have to. 200 plus. It would be like you'd have to do like a Wild Kingdom bit for me where you put a dart gun. Yeah. Wow, let's do it. You wake up in a tent. I wake up in Burning Man. The cool thing is you can camp. I mean, you can bring an RV or a bus or whatever you want in. and park it out on the side, and you can be as involved or not as involved as you want to be. Yeah, I do now. I do it from Encinitas. I'm not that involved in it. Would you think you were in hell if you woke up at Burning Man? Of course. I mean, are you kidding? It's my own personal hell. That's terrible. M1 Podcast from Oceanside. Hi. Good morning, guys. I am M1 Podcast. Good morning. What's going on? I just said that.
Oh, well, I got thrown off a bit because when you mentioned Jay and the leather song, Muddy, and then you back in the day. Yeah. I can imagine you and Jay, Muddy, and leather songs, Barbie. Yeah. I've seen it. It's not a pretty thing. Well, she's only seen it with me. Right. Mikey does it every year at a Super Bowl party. Yes. Oh, my God. Well, I was kind of surprised that no one else had. called in about the John Parr link to Denver. There is none. Wow. There's no link? No. The thing that was really odd, I actually went and looked it up on my new iPhone. Thank you, Mikey. Yeah. And it said that he already performed that song in October on ESPN. Wow. He just had a hankering. He was invited by ESPN to do this. I don't know how ESPN... Why? Because the Beaver Brown Band wasn't available? Bread was busy. Yeah, because Bread was busy. And Nelly was writing another song for another team. But yeah, when I looked up John Parr in Denver, I guess John Parr is another person who died with his wife and daughter in 2008. I was like, I don't think that's the same John Parr. So I looked...
Looked it up, and evidently he just did this remake of the song, and ESPN invited him in October, and he performed it. Then he did a studio version of it, which is what you were playing. And I'm with Woodsy. I'm looking at the lyrics. I still don't understand them. I mean, it's just... So you're saying John Parr is dead? No, not singer John Parr. There's another person named John Parr. From Goshen, Indiana. His name was John Parr. He died. And he was a part of Denver. No, no, no, no, no. Who's dead? Who's on first? Who's dead? No one's dead. It's another John Parr. It's another John Parr. He's a veterinarian from Ohio. Hey, M1 Podcast. M1 Podcast. Isn't that like calling us right now and saying, hey guys, Britney Spears died. And then we all freak out and you go, well, it's not the Britney Spears you're thinking of. It's Britney Spears, unfortunately, from Butte, Montana. She's a hairdresser there. She's a hairdresser and I just found out she passed. Oh man, you guys got me.
And I'm sorry, I've been trying to listen regular with your new hours. I'm sorry I missed the Second Amendment talk. I guess there was a post on your wall that ended up over 100 comments long. I was the main of the, yeah. And so that's a really big deal, guys. Thanks for bringing that up. I'm just sorry I missed that conversation. It's a hard thing to explain. It took us 40 minutes to explain, so I can't really explain it now. Thank you, podcast. All right. Thanks, guys. Amen. Well, listen. What am I going to eat today, Jay? You're going to have, you should have yogurt. No, I'm not going to eat yogurt. How about cottage cheese? No, that's gross. Sour cream. Yeah, just straight with a straw. I'm going to have something from Starbucks, one of their protein deals. You should have some of Wood's carrots. I don't have any carrots. Oh, man. You don't bring your famous carrots that you make? Carrots that you made. Come on. With your homemade ranch? With your homemade ranch? People are now posting pictures of Hidden Valley Ranch all over my wall every day. That's just serious. A lot of coaching shakeups in the NFL woods will fill you in next. When I'm out walking, I stride my stuff, and I'm so strung out. This is the Mikey Show, FM 94.9. That's the time for 5-Hour Energy. 5-Hour Energy when you got to get stuff done. I'm Stacey Cohen, FM 94.9. BZT San Diego. Really good financial media station. And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. I don't like it when it's cheap. Lauren. I was a bit of a pyro when I was a kid. Woods. I haven't moisturized in days. Dying. And Jay. I'm an awesome beer drinker on the course. On FM 94.9. Welcome. It's the Miguel Show. And it is Wednesday. You can call us if you want. 570-1949. We start the show at 530. We go until 9 o'clock.
And if you missed out this morning, we were talking about Burning Man and something like Burning Man possibly coming to San Diego to Balboa Park. And we also talked about Jay, our producer, being at Burning Man, like a hippie. A nude hippie. Nude hippie. Well, nudist. Nudist. Nudist hippie. Very short shorts. Very short shorts. Yes. Covered in mud. Covered in mud. Head to toe. Probably hadn't showered in days. No, I'd come from a hot spring, so. Oh, yeah. Where you bathed in a natural hot spring. The gonorrhea springs, as they're known there. They smell like sulfur. They do? Well, they smell like sulfur. Good for your skin. They also smell like all the other guys you're in there with. You know, strange men. A bunch of dudes. Yes. No, no. It's a nude bath. I'm from Tustin. Where are you from? I'm from San Diego.
I'm right up the road in Tustin if you ever make it up. We should exchange emails. Hey, do you have a joint? Of course I do. Do you tweet? There was no tweeting then. You want to follow me? About where? Back to your tent? No, I mean on Twitter. Oh, I'm not gay. I'm not either. But it's Burning Man. So you might want to make out. We've got Burning Man fever in here this morning. LLB and I are looking at pictures. Oh, man. I'm going to be a painted nude lady. Oh, man. They're going to sell out early. Lauren O'Brien. They're going to sell out early. She will paint herself nude as a butterfly. I'll be a butterfly. I guarantee you. I'm going. People will be walking up to her going, where did you get vodka? Brought it with you. I don't know. I don't know. I'll put the boobies as the eyes. Oh, my God. You are a crazy woman. Finally, I'll be making eye contact with you. Pretty good. Don't encourage that. You're going to make him want to do it more. That's pretty good. It's a Mikey show. I'm Mikey. I'm the host. I'm 41. I'm very conservative in my ways. So are we. I didn't used to be. I used to be wild. I'm not anymore. Were you ever Burning Man wild, though?
I'd go just for the booze. Oh, okay. All right. Then, yeah, I probably would have been all weird. I got drunk and probably made out with dudes, chicks, you know. Oh, God. I'd have been all weird. I'd just been crazy. I'd be dead. Just dance. Yeah. Oh, I would love to see that. It's fat dancing. Just to make people laugh, I'd be trying to make people laugh. I just showed Mikey a picture of a nude tug of war that they do there. There's a dude in the back. He's butt naked, and he's got a real thick rope wrapped around his stomach, and they're doing a nude tug of war. He's about 400 pounds, so they put him on the end. Oh, yeah, the anchor. The anchor, yes. It's a nude tug of war. Jay just pointed at me. We got a team. We got a team. Oh, my gosh. We got our anchor. If you and I had been at Burning Man at the same time and you were doing dances to make people laugh, I may have died just from laughing. Oh, yeah. I would have laughed so hard. I would do anything. Anything to have you there. Oh, you. Wouldn't we the three of us all go this year? I am a different man now. It would be very hard not to have you there.
You can be sober there. Just let loose. Just dance, man. Just check out the art. By art, you mean the nude art. Not all nude. Some of this stuff will blow your mind. These guys are insanely talented. Woods is 36. He's our sports guy. I told him off the air. I go, dude, you can't go there. You're getting in so much trouble. It's lawless. I'll be fine. Lauren O'Brien, L-O-B. She's our assistant producer. She's 31. And she is also a comedian. And a nude butterfly woman. Jay's our producer. He's an old creep from back in the day. Still is. He's 48. And Nicole's our phone screener. She is 19. And she answers the phones, screens your calls. Can you believe that... three years ago, she was 16 years old, Woods. Oh, man. Like, pretty much when we were starting this radio show, she was 16 years old. She was in algebra class. That's insane. How about that? Yeah, it's insane. How do you feel now? Were you over there at her school trying to interview her? Oh, God. There he was. Hey, you going to burn mine? Yeah, you want to go? Really? Would you want to go? I'll just ask you. I can drive.
Interrogating Nicole off the air. I was not. I asked her. Would you go to Burning Man? I didn't say with me. I wasn't pressuring her. I wasn't pressuring her. Hey, fine. You don't have to go if you don't like your boy. When are we going to Burning Man? When are we going? We can go on a Burning Man. Who's driving? Don't go with me then. Fine. We're just pressuring her. Right. Heavy hand. Heavy hand. Making it feel like she had to go or else she wasn't going to work here anymore. Oh, my God. I'm with Lori from San Diego. Hi. You there, Lori? Yeah. Go ahead. I was listening to you guys talk about the Burning Man, and I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and every year in Santa Fe they do a thing called the Zobra where they burn this 50-foot. tall, ugly creature and it just goes up in flames and his hands are waving around and really it's just to burn off all of the troubles of the year past to start fresh the upcoming year. Are you guys having a killer time? I'm sorry? Are you guys having a killer time? I wouldn't want to go to that.
Well, it's really cool. They do it in Santa Fe, the capital, and everybody goes on Labor Day. It's a whole Labor Day weekend thing, and they do it at midnight. Who cares? Oh, boy. I would not want to. I'm sorry. That was Junior Seau. Although, I will say. Who cares? That's not necessarily my type of thing, but maybe somebody would want to go to that. You know what I mean? That sounds cool. A lot of people do go from New Mexico. It's a tradition. It started back in the 1920s. Who cares? Is it kid-friendly? Well, if you can keep your kids up till midnight, yeah. Oh, okay. So this is a little different than Burning Man. If you're a bad parent, yeah. A terrible parent. Technically, you can take your kids to Burning Man. There are family zones where they do just family stuff, but you don't want to leave the family zone with your kids. Oh, wow. They also have a booth for child protective services out there as well. I almost cried. Well, I'm sure it turns into a great big party. It is on Labor Day, but it does have a significance for... Let's not play with them. Cannot win with them.
I wouldn't do it. I bet it's a similar thing. Yeah. Anyway, I also wanted to tell you guys I'm up early because you guys have been so funny the past two days, and I thought I'm going to have to turn this on because you guys have been on a roll. Thank you. Very sweet. But the 5.30 thing, I want you guys to continue until 10, and I'm like, oh, they're already over. What's going on here? But anyway, you guys are great. Thank you. Thank you very much. Bye-bye. Thank you very much. Sweet. I just hope this isn't all too good to be true, hee hee. So, let's see. The word of the day is alien. And that'll get you lunch for four at Rubio's. They got the new langostino lobster tacos that are delish. We'll also give you a $50 gift card to Dave and Buster's. Eat, play, drink. And, hey, while you're there, jump off a diving board. You know what I mean? A little tiny diving board. A little tiny diving board. A lot of shakeups going on in the NFL and the coaching world, huh? It's actually hard to keep up with. I had to make a one-sheeter for myself this morning. So first, we'll start here at home. Chargers offensive coordinator Clarence Shellman will not be back. He spent 10 years with the Chargers, 21 years in the NFL, and just said, look, I want to travel with the missus. I got a bunch of other stuff I want to do. Which means that we are going to have a new D coordinator and a new offensive coordinator. Correct. And he is most well-known for working with the running backs.
I worked with some great ones. If you think about it, LT, LaDainian Tomlinson, Lorenzo Neal, Mike Tolbert, Darren Sproles, Michael Turner, Ryan Matthews, all under his tutelage. So he'll be missed for sure in that organization. So Brian Schottenheimer, who was the offensive coordinator of the Jets, has let them know he's not coming back. The Jets are probably going to go with either former head coach of the Dolphins, Tony Sperano. Or Todd Haley, the former head coach of the Chiefs. To be their new offensive coordinator. Correct. Marty Schottenheimer, who we all know and love here, is up for the candidate. He's a candidate for the Buccaneers job. So the head coaching job. Really? Now, Brian could join his father in Tampa Bay if Marty gets that gig. Yes. Okay? I'm surprised. You know, I would have thought Marty at this, you know, station in life is just kind of content. Hey, fishing. Hanging out. Yeah, real good. Just hanging out with the wife. Maybe the wife's driving him nuts. He's got to get out of the house. Could be. Oakland Raiders have also fired their first year head coach, Hugh Jackson. They had an 8-8 season. They have a new GM, Reggie McKenzie. That was his first day on the job. Fired Hugh Jackson, who was none too pleased. And no hire there? No, not yet. He's just fired him, but no hire. Fired him, but no hire.
And finally, the Jacksonville Jaguars have a new head coach. It is former Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Malarkey. He was a former head coach of the Bills. He was 9-7 and then 5-11 before being fired. So why do they think that's going to work? Who knows? He actually has done some good work in Atlanta, if you think about, except for those three playoff games with Matty Ice. He's turned that kid into a pretty good quarterback. Some of these guys are great offensive coordinators, but they find it hard to make the move to head coach. We have one of those here in our midst. Hey, listen. Here in San Diego. Norv Turner was one of the best offensive coordinators to live. Oh, yeah. Just Super Bowl ring. Super Bowl ring. Troy Aikman said I wouldn't be Troy Aikman without Norv Turner. There's no question. Yeah. He's a brilliant, brilliant coach. Yep. Was, maybe. Well, I still think he's a brilliant offensive mind. Mm-hmm. As the head coach, I don't know. I guess we'll just, this season is going to mean a lot, you know. This season is a big one. If they didn't make the playoffs again, I think they'll have to make a change. Oh, dude. I mean, come on, be three years in a row. There's no question. He'd be gone. I wanted to have my mother-in-law on right now. She will come on at some point because she's my go-to grown-up person when I'm talking about grown-up stuff. I'm 41 years old, but I don't understand a lot of grown-up stuff.
Like the New Hampshire primary. I don't understand. I know that they do the Iowa caucus. That's over. And then they go on to New Hampshire, which just happened. And Mitt Romney was the big man. We made history. We still believe in the hope, the promise and the dream of America. We still believe in that shining city on a hill. We know that the future of this country is better than eight or nine percent unemployment. It's better than 15 trillion dollars in debt. It's better than the misguided policies and broken promises of the last three years and the failed leadership of one man. The president has run out of ideas. Now he's running out of excuses. He's going to move on to South Carolina and we'll see what happens in South Carolina. Here's how he says that he'll change the country. This president takes his inspiration from the capitals of Europe. We look to the cities and towns across America for our inspiration.
Do you get that, Woods? Do you know what he means by that? No. I'm going to get you right here. I'm going to get your attention. Whenever he hears politics, he's like, eh. What he means by that is that Obama believes in more of a socialist type of society, like in Europe, that the government supports everything. Okay? That's what he means. The president puts his faith in government. We put our faith in the American people. No, no, no. I think the other way sounds great. What he's saying is, every man for themself. You want it, go get it. Yeah, I'm fine with that. Instead of Obama's way, which is, we give everybody health care, which sounds great. SGNT. Sounds great, not true. Because how do you pay for it? By the way, do we have universal health care and everybody's covered? No. We do not. Now, I bet my brother $5 on this. He's going to lose $5 come November. He said Obama will do what he says. He says Obama says he's going to give everybody free health care. Hasn't happened. This president is making the federal government bigger, burdensome, and bloated. I will make the federal government simpler, smaller, and smarter. Will you? Yeah. Heard that. Yeah. I don't have any candidate I'm really behind.
We might be saying President Romney. We might. It's terrible. We might. But, I mean, our country is just stinking it up right now. It feels a little better. I feel the unemployment's down. It feels better. Is it? I thought it was the worst it's been in three years. It's the lowest it's been in three years. Unemployment is at its lowest, which is a good thing. So I feel a little bit of an uptick, but... Are we out of the Great Recession? I think we're... We're peeking our head out from under the covers. I mean, if you look at some of the things that went on over the holidays, I mean, records are being set. I mean, people are spending money. You know, LOB was talking about the Super Bowl ads are more expensive than they've ever been. I mean, she even said, what recession? You know, Super Bowl ads are $4 million. Well, it affects the middle class. Right, absolutely. And I agree, but I think there's an uptick. I feel it. And, hey, my finger's on the pulse of this country. You know that. Of course. Of course. See what you think about this in terms of what Romney says about the military. Internationally, President Obama has adopted an appeasement strategy. He believes America's role as leader in the world is a thing of the past. I believe a strong America must and will lead the future. He doesn't see the need for overwhelming American military superiority. I will insist on a military so powerful no one would ever think of challenging it. Yeah. What do you think of that?
Did you listen? Of course I listened. Yeah, I'm kicking it around in my head. All right. I'll give you that. I am not a person that, I believe that obviously military is necessary. Yeah. But, boy, I get upset sometimes when we kind of stick our nose in places. The world police bit. Yeah, the world police bit kind of bothers me sometimes. I'll be honest. That's 100% honest. Here's Ron Paul, who came in second. Now, I called Governor Romney a short while ago before he gave his talk and congratulate him because he certainly had a clear-cut victory, but we're nibbling at his heels. By the way, he's saying all this with a goldfish aquarium around his head and a goldfish actually swimming around as he's giving the speech. But there was another victory tonight. He had a victory, but we have had a victory for the cause of liberty tonight. Mask and snorkel. I'm just kidding. I know people love Ron Paul. I just think he's a little, he can be a little kooky in some of his ideas. That's just me. Oh, boy. I'm going to get a bunch of Facebook. Oh, God. Videos. Mike. Come on, man. Take a look at Ron Paul. God bless. Take a look at Ron Paul.
He's really got some great things to say about Ashish. Mike, reconsider prostitution and legalizing it. Please, I'm begging you. Come on. Free your mind and the rest will follow. Casey Anthony may be firing her attorney, Jose Baez, who got her off the murder charges. And the reason is because he's not secured a big interview deal for her. Oh, monster. But he is basking in the limelight and rubbing shoulders with big TV people. And she's watching that going, well, where's my deal? I know you're hanging out with all these bigwigs and everything, but where's my, you know. I guarantee the phone call went on something like this. Jose. People know who you are because of me. Oh, gosh. Oh, wow. That creeped me out. That creeped me out. Oh, boy. Oh, that creeped me out. And if you don't want to get me that interview, guess what? I will find someone that... I'm Casey Anthony. Casey effing Anthony. Casey effing Anthony. Did you see how many YouTube hits my video got? Oh, God. Do something now or it's your ass. You're nothing without me.
You realize that because of me, you're not sitting in jail right now. You should be in jail. No, because of the evidence. It's because I didn't do anything. Listen, Casey, listen. I haven't told anyone that we made love a couple of times while you were in prison. What if I told everybody that we made love a couple of times while you were in jail? I'll tell everybody about your penis malfunction. All right, forget it. I won't tell anybody about our time in jail. That's right. About our time in jail. But what about our time in jail? What about it? Hey, this is, I can't believe this wasn't a long time coming. You know, the people that work for the TSA, they're looking into wearing these little devices called personal dosometers because, hey, they've been sitting there giving people x-ray scans and they're saying, what about us? We may be... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We may be soaking up a lot of this radiation. They don't wear those big, heavy vests that they wear when you go get an x-ray. Exactly. Now, I am all for keeping us safe and everything, but the radiation machines freak me out. Mm-hmm. You know, the machines that you stand in front of, first of all, because I'm chubby and they're seeing my naked body. And, you know. It's definitely part of it. It's Jay. Me, Mike.
They'd sell to Playgirl. They'd take my x-rays and sell them to Playgirl. Quick, I gotta think about kittens, dogs running in the park. He's trying to think of happy thoughts. I don't want people to see... Burning Man. Mike, do you know how much the meteor would pay for pictures of my pencil-thin wiener? You know what San Diego Magazine would pay for photographs of my pencil-thin wiener? It is not. You ever seen... It's my long pencil thin wiener. Mike, do you remember when you was in kindergarten and you bought them thick pencils? Yeah. But they weren't super thick, but they weren't the number two. That's what I'm working with. Yeah. It's called a husky pencil. Yeah. It's like a crayon. Like a thick crayon. Crown. Crayon. Crayon.
You ever seen that thing, what's it called, a pendulum in the clock? Yeah. It hangs there? Yeah. That's me. It's a long thing. And then, you know, a little something on the end. Never ever in my life thought this would be a long conversation about my junk. Ever. Ever in my life. Ding dong. Hey, Other J. TikTok. Wow. Other J. Other J. Maybe that was a little far. Cuckoo. All right. I get what you're saying. Helicopter. Helicopter. You've gone very far. You've gone very far. Woo. Woo. Woo. Woo. Woo. When we return, you will hear a Taiwanese female reporter going down a large indoor slide. That's all I got to tell you. On FM 94.9. Hey gang, it's your old pal Woodsy. And your old pal Alibi. We have to, it's early today, but hey, if you're listening and you're driving into work right now and you just had to put your contacts in or you had to wear, yeah, a sucker. You're a sucker. That's exactly what you are.
Don't waste any more time. This is a new year. It's time for new eyes. And when I tell you that this is the best money that I've ever spent and LOBs ever spent, that is a true statement. Oh, hands down. I would have paid 10 times as much of what I paid just to have what I have now. Absolutely. It's so unencumbering. And that really explains, I mean, your life's so much easier. Yeah, it's freedom. Give them a call today. It's Clearview Eye and Laser Medical Center. It's Dr. Sandy T. Feldman. Their number is 858-452. Just call, set up a free consultation. CreateYourDesignOnline.com and had an amazing experience with Jared, who does CreateYourDesignOnline.com. Go to CreateYourDesignOnline.com. Check out what Jared does. I mean, if you want business cards, you want any of that stuff, he will take care of it for you. He does graphic design, and he's better than anybody I've ever met in the world at doing it. And he is our personal celebrity superstar graphic designer. CreateYourDesignOnline.com. Follow through like you would not believe. Word of the day is alien. I'll say it sometime between now and nine o'clock. And when I do, call her nine. I'll give you lunch for four at Rubio's and a $50 gift card to Dave and Buster's. So get ready. It could be at any moment. Before we took a break there, I said that when we came back, I was going to play for you a Taiwanese girl going down an indoor slide.
And again. And one more time. Now, many of you may be wondering, well, what exactly was she doing? Well, there were stairs that went downstairs. Or you could take the indoor slide. But if you do, you know, it's exhilarating. It's rather exhilarating. And so if you get exhilarated and you're a young Taiwanese reporter, you might. Speechless. Well, of course you are. I believe everyone is when they first hear her go down that slide. There are so many parts of it that I love. I can't pick just one. I know. I like the yeah. Yeah, the yeah. I like the three. The three. Imagine her making love. Oh, man.
Holy cow. It's the exact same sound when she makes love. Yeah. Okay, well, catchphrase. Let's switch the teams up. Well, we haven't done that in a while. Somebody hates his boy. Yep. Well, we haven't done that in a while. Yeah, yeah. We'll just switch it up on the air. No big deal. 570-194-9. You're going to be voting for Team J and Woods or Team Mikey and L.O.B. Jay, go ahead and grab a couple of people. What's the prize, though? It's lunch for two at Rubio's. Enjoy their new Langostino lobster taco. Oh, there you go. Same prize that we have for the word of the day. It's not true. You also get a Dave and Buster's card. With the word of the day. In your face. It's true. Yes, Mike, prize today will be a bolo tie that I found in my dresser. So, yeah. Genuine bolo tie from the 1970s. Come on, Isabel. Enjoy. You may start and pick your category as soon as... L.O.B., we have to mind melt. Yes, we do. You sound different on Worses, Mike. Yeah, it sounds different. This feels real weird. See, I don't think we have to switch seats. We do. Yeah, you have to. The passing. You have to. Because of the passing. All right. Jay, are we going to...
Make this ride? He's doing double duty here. He's having to find the people on the line. Ah, yes. M1 Corey. Are you there, Corey? Yep. Do you want Team Woods J or Team L-O-B Mike? I'll take Team Woods J. Okay. Hang on the line. And this is M1 Jen. Ian. Ian, you've got Team L-O-B Mike, okay? Hang on the line. All right, Lauren, we're mind-melding. Yep. We're going to do good at this. Now, it's the first person to get, it's the first team to get four correct. So we got to get to four correct. It's catchphrase, and you'll catch on very quickly as you listen. Here we go. I'm going to choose food. Food. Do well at that. I'll do well at that. And we're off. You would have this instead of coffee. Tea. Yes, but a spot. A spot of tea. No, instead of the container that it comes in. Pot of tea. No, just a single serving. A cup of tea. Yes. Oh, my goodness. This is made of a cucumber, and you slice them up, put them on hamburgers. Oh, a pickle. Pickle slice. What kind of pickle? A dill pickle. Yep. There you go. He just said the word pickle, by the way. After he already said it. Feast. Okay.
It's two words, and the first is the kind of guys you like. Black. And then the second word is... Black Angus. No, no, no. The second word is Prince saying about this kind of beret. Black raspberry. There you go. Wow. Look at that. You drink it out of this. It's an alcoholic... Beer. It's a stein. It's a beer mug. No, it comes in tin. It's metal. A beer can. Oh, wow. That was it. This thing is dying. It's dying. The batteries are dying. You would have these covered in chocolate if you want to be sexy. Strawberries. Yes. Yes, LLB. Those batteries are like... There's nothing you can do, Wally. What kind does it take? I could put new ones in. It needs a Phillips head. Yeah, yeah. With a Phillips head? I got it. Shut up. Gosh darn it, I'll make a battery if I have to. Yeah, I said pickle, but he had already said pickle. Once someone says the word, you should be able to repeat it. Oh, really? Yeah, that's fine with me. I believe so. No, no, what you said first. Right. I'm fine with that. This is one of the funnest games that we play. And it's a good, I think I got it from Target. Mine was like less than $20 or something like that. You play it with your whole family, all ages.
Get everybody involved. I played it on Christmas night. You did? Yeah, with Matt's family. It's weird. We didn't play any games at my house on Christmas. You had a bad Christmas, Woods. We know. We complained about muffins. Well, you didn't complain about muffins. I didn't. I didn't. No, wait a minute. That's not fair. Your dad didn't complain about muffins. He complained about you eating too many muffins. No. One muffin. Well, you've already eaten, in fairness to him. You're an SOB. Woods does not like when anybody says to him, hey, are you having another one of those? Or are you having one of those? Or any sort of, what are you doing? Leave me alone. Team one has a point. Does that go to me? That's Mike. It ended in my hand. I think it was a bad idea to not... Let's try to screw that thing back on there. They're really pretty tight. All right. All right. Just don't slam it down, anybody. Relax. What do I do? Just hit start, I believe. You can hit category. You get to start a new category if you want. Or stick with food. Let's stick with food. Well, it's not on food. So here's your category. All right. All right. We're going to do, how about everything? Everything. Everything. Here we go. Beautiful.
This is an African-American gentleman who's very well known as an actor. Denzel Washington. That's right. Oh, wow. Oh, my goodness. They talk about this, a type of warming that the world is going to. Yes. Oh, wow. Oh, the baseball player that was caught with all those scandals and he got out of the Hall of Fame. Pete Rose? Yes. Oh, my. Never heard of this. It's one word. Another word for gonorrhea. Herpes. No, gonorrhea. Syphilis. They call it the... Sexually transmitted disease. Gonorrhea. When you applaud you... Clap. The clap. Okay. Next part of the word is a bear. Claw. You catch a bear in it. Oh, bear trap. Clap trap. Yep. Clap trap? Holy cow. I don't know what that is. This is a person that... Oh, I hit start instead of next. That's a point for us. That's a point for us. That's a point for you guys. Sorry, LOD. I'm sorry.
Sorry. Sorry. 1-1. J-Pick Academy. We've been playing this game now forever, and I still haven't figured out what buttons to press. PsyTech. Oh, you're in. PsyTech. Jerk. PsyTech. Here we go. When something blows up, Hiroshima. Bomb. A bomb. No, but it's a different type of. Neutron bomb. I'm just. The first part. Neutron. There's a plant and it makes this kind of power. Nuclear? Yes. And what would it do when it explodes? Energy. Nuclear explosion. Nuclear bomb. Nuclear. I said explode. No. That's great. Point for them. That's my new bet to give away the exact clue. Team two. Team one has two. All right. Okay, so. Team two is ahead? Yes. We are ahead two to one. No, we are team one, and we're ahead two to one. All right. There you go. Rhymes with boucleer mexlusion. Can I just spell it? Wow. All right. And we're going to stay on everything. Oh, boy. Oh, this is where you met your wife? On the internet. Yes, but specifically. In a chat room. Yes. Oh, wow. Oh, gosh. I hate you people. Biggest internet search in the world. Google. Yep.
We didn't really meet that way. This is a profession. It's three words, and the first word is another word for car. Auto. Yes. Auto something mechanic. And then this is my... Auto body mechanic. Auto body repair. What's another word? Yes. Auto body repair is correct. Oh, you were looking for one of these because you wanted to sell some stuff online. You wanted... It's when you go on, you can make bids. eBay. And what is that called? eBay master. eBay seller. It's like when a... eBay auctioneer. Oh, wow. eBay auction. Oh, you have... It's a kissing disease. Herpes. No, no, no. You get really tired. Yeah! Mono. Mono. Okay, we have a tie game. Tie game, people. We're tied. I am changing category to sports and games. All right. You ready? I don't do good at this. Not a gold or a bronze, but a? Silver. Metal. Yep. All right. The Jamaicans were famous for winning this one time. The bobsled team. Oh, wow. You do this down the stream. Paddle. You row. Kayak. Kayak.
Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na. Roll, roll, roll your boat. Roll your boat. Yes, thank you. Wow, wow, wow. You would do this. Oh, gosh. What was her name? Heather Graham in... Rollerblade. Roller skate. Roller girl. But the act of doing it. It's roller skating, rollerblading. Yeah, okay. Similar vein, but they're like hockey skates. Roller rink. Roller... Roller... Roller... Roller skates. Wheels. Rollerblading. Yes. Was it in my hand? Was it in my hand? It was in both their hands, but who had it? It was in his hands. Ouch. I don't know about that one. I don't know about that one. Cry foul on that one. What do we have to do? You guys get a point. We get a point, so we need one more point and we win? Oh, it starts on you, too. Yeah. No, he was in his hand. Well, if it was in his hand, then it's our point. Yeah, you start. Okay, then you start. All right. So team one, point. All right, here we go. Three to two. Three to two.
A hit start, right? You can change categories if you like. I'm not going to. Okay, here we go. Don't confuse me. This is a basketball team. The Nets. No, just north of us. The Lakers. But the whole name. The Los Angeles Lakers. Correct. Oh, wow. It's a sports team. I think Tebow may play for them. Denver Broncos. Wow, good. Hey, look at him. Big bit. Oh, boy. I think Pete Rose was on this team. The Cincinnati Reds. Yeah. Nerds do this. Play games. It's like quarters, dimes, nickels. What are those called? Oh, coins? Right, and nerds do this. With those coins. Coin collector. Yes. Oh, wow. This guy has one ball. John Krug. Rides a bike. John Krug. Rides a bike. Tour de France. Oh, Lance Armstrong. Yes. No! Damn it!
Did we win? Did we win? Yes! Oh, wow. M1 Corey. Oh. You had picked Woods and... That's wrong. You had picked Woods and Jay, right? Yeah. And guess what? He had actually picked us, but changed his answer when I went to him. Changed his mind. He changed his mind when I went to him. How about you, Ian? You were going to... Yeah, that's right. Now you're a winner. Enjoy those tacos, pal. Very good. Langostino tacos coming up for you. That's right. Hang in line. Winner, winner, taco dinner. That's right. Feast on them. And one more time. Thank you. Oh, wow. That's what happens when you're very excited. When we get a win, which is not to be confused with... That's what Jay and I are doing right now. That's right. Yeah. Crying. You know, the national anthem was something that Woods was, he texted me and said, did you see that national anthem? He thought it was terrible. From the national championship game. The BCS game. Just a couple nights ago. And I said, I haven't seen it, but how bad could it be? Let's take a listen. Moment of silence. As we remember our servicemen and women overseas and pray for world peace. Please join New Orleans native.
Metropolitan Opera star and cast member of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. Maybe just... Just the song. Just the song. Not the moment of silence. Jay made sure to capture the moment of silence as well. So, you know, hey. This guy's an opera singer, mind you. Anthony Latura, as he sings our national anthem. That was a little sharp there. That was the national championship? Yes. I watched it and I'm like, this guy is shaky for an opera singer. He was way back off the mic and then he would try to hit the high notes and he couldn't do it? It's the nerves, man. Is that what it is? Yes. He's an opera singer. Doesn't all opera sound like... Yeah, but they don't go... Well, the free part was real bad. Could you do better? Yes. Could you? Yeah.
No, you couldn't. No, I 100% could. Opera style? No, my normal voice. If you're having to do it in your normal voice, you get nervous. People get nervous when they do it. Especially you forget the words. On the spot, it's difficult. It may be in front of 80,000 people. Of course. What about in front of three people? I could do it. I'll do it for you right now. You could do it for us. Yeah, for sure. You should do it. I would. Don't look at me and make me laugh. You're going to sing the nationally. You don't have no words. We'd have to print you the words. Do you know the words? Do you know the words? You know all the words? Yeah, I'm an American citizen. I know, but when you get... All right. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Let's go to break. Yeah, we have to break in a minute. I won't look at the words, I promise. I know the words. All right, we're going to watch him. Yeah. Nicole, our phone screener, will keep an eye on you. Yeah. That's great. Hey, she going to Burning Man? You going to Burning Man? You want to ride with me? What? I'm just asking if you're going to Burning Man. That's it. That's all I wanted to know. If you're a guy, I'd ask you, would I? If my wife asked, don't tell her you're going. Yeah. I mean, gosh, man, it doesn't matter. I'm going to tell her Nick's going with me. I'll take pictures. Hey, do you need a photographer? That's all I'm saying. I want to go for it. Keep it up, Mikey. I'll roast you up real good, too. What kind of alcohol do you like? Oh, boy. Hey, I hear there might be snow. You need somebody to put chains on? No, I mean.
Do you need somebody to put chains on? I'm serious, chains. I'm talking about actual chains. Hey, what concerts are you going to this year? Oh, God. Do you like music? What kind of music do you like? Like the Twilight Singers. Oh, my God. Have you ever had homemade ranch? Bet you've never had real homemade ranch. Hey, I know Dallas Green. Wearing a sweatshirt. When we come back, Woods is going to sing the national anthem a cappella. Yeah, as I would if I was at a Padre. You can't look up the words. I'm not going to look up the words. You can't. I'm not going to. Don't do it. I promise. All right. Scott's on it. It's next. Bye, gorgeous. Good job. Here's plastic. Excellent job. Huh? 570-1949. Or text. That is funny. At 949mikey at gmail.com. Well, he is directing a prequel.
to Alien. It's what happened before Sigourney Weaver and all of that story. Hopefully she's not in it. She is not. It's because it's what happened before. It would probably be a young actress. Woods is going to sing the national anthem in a second. What's happening in the world of sports, Woods? I'm about to fill you in on one of the douchier things out there in sports land today. But first, I wanted to tell you that sports is brought to us by our friends at Clearview Eye and Laser Medical Center. Affordability, technology, and experience. So you've heard about this thing that mayors do in playoff games. Mayors of big cities, they do these bets. The bet bit. The bet bit. They always have to. If the Patriots win, we'll send you some lobster. Yeah, exactly. It's getting ridiculous. Well, now, Pittsburgh mayor, Denver mayor, Michael Hancock, had bet Luke Ravenstahl, who's the mayor of Pittsburgh, that if Denver beat Pittsburgh, then Mr. Ravenstahl would have to don a Tebow jersey and Tebow in a Pittsburgh park. So this mayor had to go in, put on a freaking Tebow jersey, and do the Tebow bit with his... With his fist in his forehead. And there's pictures. It's just lame. It's just douche land. It's such douche land. Also, in college basketball last night, San Diego State, the Aztecs, they survived quite a scare. They were playing 0-16 Chicago State and were actually down at half. They came back to win 73-65. They are now 14-2 and looking good. There you go. All right, you guys ready? Yes, I'm ready. Don't make me laugh. Wait, wait, wait. You promise? Now, hang on a second.
For those of you just tuning in, we listened to a bad national anthem. It happened at the BCS, the national championship game in college football. It was a guy singing opera style, and to Woods' defense, he wasn't that great. Nah. Woods is going to give it a shot. You haven't had any practice. I observed you during the break. You didn't look up the lyrics. And you are now going to take a drink of water. He just took a drink of water. He's gargling, loosening up the pipes. And we will now listen to Wood sing the national anthem and do a better job. Can you not look at me? No, I cannot not look at you. Yeah, that's the gist. Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light what so proudly we hailed.
At the twilight's last gleaming Whose broad stripes and bright stars Through the perilous fight O'er the ramparts we watched Were so gallantly streaming And the rocket's red glare The bombs bursting in air Gave truth Through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say does that. I can't. You can do it. I broke my foot up his butt. This happens sometimes. People get pants. They do not get pants. Sometimes people get pants. I just broke my foot in his butt. Sometimes people get pants. He kicked it hard. Sometimes people get pants. That pissed me off. I know. Keep going. Where was I?
I broke my foot. I'm not kidding. That's disrespectful, Jay. Yeah, Jay. You don't take my effing pants down when I'm singing the National Anthem. Come on, you can do this. What is wrong with you? Pick back up where... Oh! Damn it! That pissed me off. You were doing so good. It doesn't matter. Don't pull my pants down. Jackass. You shouldn't do that. Poor fella. I just broke my foot up his butt. I kicked him. Pele goes... That was a hell of a kick. I'm glad you pointed your toe down. When you kicked him in the butt. As hard as I could. As hard as you could. I would have made a 60-yard field goal. That's how hard you kicked him. Yes. And I disagree with you. A 75-yard field goal. What are you doing? Hang on a second. Hang on a second. You're such a jerk. The flat part of the foot, okay? The top flat part of the foot. Connected in. Inside. Inside of the butt cheeks. Yes. On J. How'd that feel? It had to hurt. No. It had to hurt. You kicked him so hard. Dude, I'm wearing workout shorts. If he pulls my pants down, my D is going to be flopping around in here. That's not cool, dude. I would have seen that. Oh, my gosh. And you know what else?
That's the national anthem. Yeah, Jay. Yeah. People have died for that song. Are you really going to play that card? Yeah, yeah. Why not? You'll play any card you can right now. I would like to point out two things. Did I box the words? I have to hear it. What did I say? I have to hear it. I want to hear that moment of... What did I do wrong? You said the wrong word. What? Which word? You said gave truth. I said gave proof. You said truth. Then I meant proof. Oh. Move. You know how naked you feel? Hey, I take it back. Anybody that boxes the national anthem, you have it right. That's nerve-wracking. Is it nerve-wracking when somebody comes up behind you and pulls your pants down? I can honestly say, two years into the show, I've never been this pissed off. Angry at him. And I've gotten angry. What's wrong with you? Where did the list begin? Hang on. I'm furious. I know you are. You're going to be okay. Should be. You're going to be okay. Yeah. My foot's broken. Let me see. Woods, I am relatively certain that you've injured yourself. Or him. He has to be hurt. Jay, he got you, like when we replay, when we replay that sound, it's almost like.
When they do sound effects on ESPN, it's called sound effects, and it's where they let you hear the game. Yeah. And they let you hear the collisions of NFL linebackers into running backs. I've been kicked harder. The sound of his. I've been kicked harder by a Girl Scout trying to sell me Girl Scout cookies. Why are they kicking you? Why were you trying to buy a Girl Scout cookie? I won't buy a Girl Scout cookie. I want them for free. The sound of your foot making contact with his. Oh, I kicked the snot out. And he's in pain. Oh, I'll show you my butt. But he won't admit it. Hey, Jay, you have to. It's stung. It's stung. But then it went right away. Bull crap. He got you good. Oh, I kicked the crap out. Now, hang on. I have a question. L.O.B. And this is a question for L.O.B. Will it be easy for us to pull that audio? Well, last time we tried, yesterday when I tried to pull out audio early, it ruined everything. So I don't know if we should touch it until the end of the show. That's what she said. That's a rule. I will say this. Woods had just done a run. Yeah, I did a little run. Which he hates, by the way. Right. He always says...
Just sing it. Don't change. And he had given us a. I gave you a little taste. Of the ramparts we love. That wasn't that bad. He was giving us some. Gave you a little Bieber-esque. He was giving it everything he had. And Jay came up behind him and pulled his shorts down. So disrespectful during the national anthem. It is very disrespectful. Too bad they were tied. And Woods was so instantly humiliated slash. I was humiliated singing the song, first of all. Giving it what I had. Giving it everything you had. I'm nude up here, just trying to do good radio. He tried to keep it together for a second. I watched it for a second. Let me explain. What was it like to see from your seat? Well, this is what I want people to understand. This is what I want people to understand. What I observed. What I observed was Wood's anger, and it was like a tsunami. And here's what I mean. Before a tsunami hits, the tide actually goes way out. Yeah. And you see fish flopping on the sand, and that's when you know it's going to be bad. Oh, yeah. When you see the fish flopping on the sand, you know it's going to be bad because what's coming is a tidal wave.
For a moment, Woods tried to regain his composure, but the wave of anger swept in. I haven't felt that anger in a long time. His face turned hot red. I have not been that angry in A. And I mean a long time. Teeth clenched. Oh, teeth crunched. He had teeth clenched, and he was like, I was singing. Freaky national freaky anthem here. I'm surprised you didn't serve. What is this guy's problem? I was sweating so bad, just nervous from singing it. Look, you're forgiven, but you're an a-hole. That's true. God, that was good. I've never seen you that mad. I've been plenty hot in here before. I was showing you that camera. I know. If we had a camera on that, now. When Woods' foot made contact with Jay's butt, he kicked him with all the anger in the world. All the anger. Every bit that I could muster. Look, I kicked the crap out of that dude. I don't care what he's going to be like this when he gets up. It's a good thing you're not that good in shape.
I kicked the crap out of you. Now, there was two sounds, okay? And I'm not kidding. I'm not saying this to be salacious. There was two sounds, very distinct sounds. The first sound was the violent collision of Woods' foot into Jay's grundle slash taint slash butt nether area. And I mean... And then the other sound, and I'm not kidding, was the clear sound of something breaking or pulling or being dislocated. Was it the one you broke at a wipeout? There's no doubt in my mind, Woods. Woods, there's no doubt in my mind you've re-injured yourself on Jay's back. And when you go in to get it fixed, they're going to say, What'd you do? What'd you do? Kicked the guy in the butt. How's that? I said I kicked the guy in the butt. Oh, my God. Well, I was at work and I was singing the national anthem, you know, and he pulled my pants down. Oh, yeah. Wait, wait, wait. God. I thought you said you were singing the national anthem and he pulled your pants down. Yeah, I was at work. Where to begin? Second one this week. I can't. Okay, I'm making a moratorium on the pants pulling down. I don't do it a lot.
Two times people have seen your dong. Yeah. Chris, who used to screen our phone calls, saw your dong. Saw my wiener. Full on. Because Jay pulled your pants down. Maybe wear real pants. Can people call? I'm going to the gym. I want fan reaction. 570-1949. 570-1949. M1 Gabe is on the line from San Diego. Are you there? Yep. Go ahead. Go ahead. I think I speak for a lot of listeners right now. We want to see a Jay Woodsy brawl. Jay would kick the crap out of me, dude. That's not even cool. Yeah, Jay would actually whoop him. Because Jay is sinewy. He's got a donkey punch. I wouldn't mess with Jay. How about the sumo suits? God, I would do that. I'd do that. Woods, you broke something in that foot. Can you come here? It hurts, dude. I kicked as hard as I humanly can. It was a lot of anger. It was a lot of anger. Probably just...
Oh, you broke it. I think you broke it again. You kicked him so hard, and it made a slap. The thing is, is he's pretty quick, and usually he can get away from something like that. I caught him flush. I didn't see it coming. I thought you were going to curse. Yeah, me too. Oh, dude, I was this close. Listen, you know when a punter catches a ball flush off his foot? I'm surprised he didn't lift into the air. When you're hurt, sad, or fearful. Because you were angry. You were hurt. And I was sad. You were sad because you were almost done. And fearful of my dees. Yes. Lobbing out in front of Laura and Nicole standing right there. Yeah. Like, I don't want. See how small it is. You didn't want us to see your private parts. And that's a fair. Well, I'm at work. Yeah, dude. It's a fair. Listen. That's not an unnatural reaction. I think that it is a fair expectation. That when you come to work, your friend Lauren and your friend Nicole will not see your exposed weenie. Will not see your exposed weenie. I think that's a fair expectation. And it wasn't met today. An expectation was not met today. You know what else is fair? To assume that you're going to go to work and some...
Jerk's not going to pull your pants down. That's a fair expectation. That's a fair expectation. No. Really? No. Jay, admit you're wrong. Payback. Admit you're wrong. Apologize. No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait. Jay, let me just say this. When he gets you back, are you worried? Because he's going to get you back. He got me back. I did not. He kicked me in the butt. Stop. A. Exhibit A. Two days ago, you wrote. In dirt, on the back of his vehicle, you wrote, I like D, and you drew the picture of a wiener. A huge one. I did it twice, actually. And then it was exhibit B. Three foot wiener. Then the next day, what did he write? Honk if you like D. Honk if you like D. With another giant penis. Right. And Woods didn't see it both times, and people were honking at him yesterday. Waving. Right. And today, while Woods was singing the national anthem, which was already nerve-wracking for you to tell, he came up behind you and pulled your pants down. Yes. But you immediately spent that token when you kicked me in the butt. You're like, oh. No, that is a reaction. Yeah, and Jay, you said that it didn't hurt. It doesn't matter if it hurts or not. You know what you didn't get on that? That I got embarrassed. Yes. And I got to embarrass you. I got my butt kicked. You were embarrassed? M1 Double Dog from San Diego.
M1 Devil Dog, are you there? I almost mad cried. Go ahead. Hey, I was this close to being like, F this, I'm going home. I'm numb. My head just got numb. My head just got numb. Go ahead, Devil Dog. Driving to work with a couple other Marines, we were listening to the whole thing, and we definitely, all of us heard a very distinct pop. Oh, yeah, dude. There was a pop. There was a pop. It was a pop. He was so mad. Like, dude. He definitely just broke his foot off clear. Devil dog. He was so hot mad at Jay. His face got so red, like purple. And I. I get like loud and boisterous. I don't know that you guys have ever seen Redwoods. You saw Redwoods today. He almost mad cried. I did. I was like that close. When I threw those headphones down, that wasn't a bit. Oh my gosh, I'm numb. When he threw those down, I got scared like he was going to leave. I was like, oh no, what if Woods leaves? I thought you were going to leave. I thought I could get away because he still was trapped in the song. Yeah, but he quit the song and came after me. M1 Red for Malik Elsa.
Thank you. I didn't know what went on for a second until you were like, oh, he pulled my shorts down and I'm wearing workout shorts. The first thing that came to my head, oh my gosh, I was probably like 14. And my dad, I don't know why I had a fad for, like, wearing two shorts. I wore gym shorts, like, all the time. And he was like, that's so stupid. He was pulling them down all day. We had family over. Ha, ha, ha. Very funny. Well, we walk out of our family, and it's his sister, and select others. It's like 7 p.m., so there's other people outside, barbecue, whatever. We're in the front yard. And he's like, all right, guys, we'll see you later. He hugs his sister. And I'm like, man, I got to get my dad. He's wearing khaki shorts. They're really thick. You know, dads always wear, you know, a belt. So I'm like, I got to get a good grip. Man, I get a good grip. I pull him down. I hop back and I point and laugh. I've got everything. Everything. Everything. Everything.
That's fantastic. That's fantastic. He chased me to my room and I sat down on my bed to make sure he wouldn't have my rear end. But he was like, because he knew it was his fault. He only poked the tiger so much. You bet. Yeah, and guess what? The sister wasn't thinking she was going to get poked by the tiger that day. No, exactly. At all. You're poor aunts. M1 Robert from San Diego. Are you there? I'm here. Go ahead. Jay and Woods are national chuggers. The best part of all of it is Lauren tackling it. Oh, dude, I'm telling you, I've never seen what he was so angry that he almost cried and was angry. He threw his headphones off. He was like, he was hurt by Jay.
Kicked Jay so hard. I was speechless for so long. Lauren. I didn't know if it was going to be okay. Lauren, like, we've got to have, I got to hear it again. I need the audio. I don't care if we screw something up. During the break, we've got to try to claim that audio. Because Woods was already exposing himself by singing the national anthem. Well put. My goodness. Mike, that was a moment of moments. Oh, I wish we had a camera for that. Oh, my gosh. My jaw was on the floor, just waiting to see what was going to happen. Such a jerk. And I know what got Woods, too, because he looks over, L.O.B.'s cackling, then he looks in the room, he sees our 19-year-old phone screener, Nicole, trying to stifle a laugh, and she can't, and that got him. He was done. This is The Mikey Show. I like it. I like it. Be a part of the show. 570-1949. Or shoot him a text. 949mikey at gmail.com. You're a nerd. More coming up in just a couple. FM 94.9. I'm a pretty honest guy and I've been a pretty honest guy for many years. Woods. I'll never forget it as long as I live. It was some village in Africa. She had like 60 of those rings around her neck and just boobs hanging out. Lauren. You know what I think the scariest thing is about clowns? They don't say anything. Yeah, that's great. Even though they can talk. And Jay. Just a man trying to do the right thing.
Lauren is trying to get the audio isolated. Her computer's super slow, but when we get it, we're going to play it back for you. If you're just tuning in, it was one of those moments that just couldn't play out any better. Well, I mean, as a listener, as an M1. Not for me. Not for Woods. In particular. I just said to Woods off the air, I go, you're awesome. So embarrassed. I was so embarrassed. You know why? Because you were able, you were able, you know, it's what my wife calls because she loves the show Dexter. Yeah. The dark passenger. Oh, yeah. The dark passenger is that side of you that's just a little creepy. I think we all know that he lives inside of me. And most days he's fine. He rides next to me. He just shuts his, he's just quiet. He listens to the radio. He smokes cigarettes. You know, whatever. He's cool. He just doesn't make any noise. Right. But every once in a while. Yeah.
And by every once in a while, I literally mean like once a year. The dark passenger. Once a year, the dark passenger, something happens to really upset. And you don't know what it is. It's usually me. Well, it could be this, though. Like you could pour a gallon of fish sauce on the dark passenger and he'll laugh. Yeah. But he'll have a thing. Like if you flick your cigarette butt at him, the dark passenger is going to flip. Out. Yeah. It's hard to get me to flip that switch. It really is. But once it's flipped, it's hard to flip that switch off. So here was Woods, you know, just vulnerable, exposing himself to the audience by singing. Yeah. Acapella. And he wasn't doing like a bit kind of singing. He was like really singing as if he were at Petco. Yeah. And he were giving it everything that he had at Petco.
Let's see if this will work. Hello? Hello? No, it doesn't work. It sounds different. I feel sorry about that. What is the matter with you? Really sorry. Really, really sorry that that happened. Hello? Hello? Does it sound different in your ears? Yeah, it sounds louder. Supposed to be a sound. Like an echo? Yeah. You sound very much more commanding. Oh, good, good. Yeah. I feel it, you know. I definitely feel that. For sure. Hello? Nope. Hi. Need to play with it. Nope. Great. Well, forget it. Now you've done weird. Forget it.
Forget it. Well, it was what was called a perfect storm because I was going into that part of the national anthem where it's the rocket's red glare. So you have to go up a few octaves. And I botched it. And I knew in my head I botched it. Then I saw you, Mike, look at L.O.B. Kind of not like, oh, God, he screwed that up. But like, oh, a little pitchy. You saw it. I thought your eyes were closed. And then immediately. The look I actually gave to L.O.B. was I said, wow. Wow. And it wasn't because you did bad. It was because you did good. giving it you know i was trying to give it my all and i thought in my head oh that didn't sound good and then at that exact moment fun boy comes up and pulls my pants down right literally i'm just trying to make it better you know how when people are using like the worst thing that you could possibly say to someone they go hey it's like getting caught with your pants down you know it's exactly right it's universally used as an example of humiliation that's the best word for it I just think a true performer could have powered through it. You are skating on ice, Jay. That dark passenger. You did? That dark passenger's there. Oh, here it is. Here we go. Gave truth through the night. Gave truth through the night. I tried to finish. I'm telling you.
It's like I said, you hear two distinct sounds. One, Wood's foot connecting with the back side of Jay. And the other is the distinct sound of something breaking inside your ankle. Gave truth through the night. That was hard. Oh, it was hard. You kicked him. Which is right. As hard as I could. If he were kicking a field goal, that was a field goal that was going to win the game in the Super Bowl. In the wind. In the wind. But he was going to attempt a 60-yarder. Gave truth through the night. Jay's a liar when he says it didn't hurt. He's stung. You're a flat-out liar. I've been hit harder. And you tried, dude. You tried to keep it going, but you were so angry. Lost his place. I can't. I can't. You can't do it. I know that it's gave proof through the night. Damn it. Oh, somebody's got a frowny face. M1 Peanut.
Said on our Facebook page. By the way, it's facebook.com slash Mikey show. He said the combo of Woods doing Aguilera runs. That's true. Messing up the words. Then being red face mad. Had me crying tears. Yeah. When you said, dude. You don't. Pull down my pants while I am singing the freaking national anthem. In that situation. Yeah, exactly. Who's in that situation? You know what? I just said something that has never been said in the history of the world before. Those words have never been put together in one sentence. Never. Oh, gosh. My belly hurts from laughing. Oh, my gosh. And people on the Facebook are blowing up. And they're saying, I wish. There was video. Oh, yeah. You do and you don't. Yeah. Because Woods. Woo. Come here, Nicole. Come here. I want to get from her perspective. She's in my office, separated by glass, and that's where she does the phone screening. And I just really quickly, I just want to know, from your perspective, what did, from your perspective, what was it like from where you were sitting?
It just looked like Woods was really embarrassed. And angry. Mortified. Mortified. Did you think at one point, oh, it's fun. And then it went to, oh, I think Woods is really mad. Yeah, actually really mad. Like the maddest I've ever seen. Oh, yeah. When did you know that it was very real mad? When he kicked Jack. Thank you. Thank you, Nicole. He was running out the door. Gave truth through the night. When Woods sang gave truth. That's when he had my pants. That's the exact moment Jay pulled his shorts down. Now, things happen in a fraction of a second. The mind works very quickly. Yes. And so what happened in Woods' brain was, oh, crap, I just sang gave truth through the night. Probably going to hear about this. Gajillionth of a millisecond later, Woods' brain processed, son of a bitch, I think he just pulled my pants down. And then his brain went to, I'm on the radio, I've got to recover, I've got to continue to sing. Gotta rise above, gotta rise above. But then the dark passenger came out, and the dark passenger said, kick him, kick him. And when you put it all together, it sounds like this. Gave truth.
Through the night. I love that clip. Oh, we're going to have that clip forever. We will have that clip forever. I will be replaying that in my head all day. When I'm in the gym later doing bicep curls, I'm going to be like that stupid mother. Here's another thing. Here's another thing that I have to tell you. I love you and I'm rooting for you. And this is why. I've been doing this for a long time, been doing this for 24 years, and I can tell you, undeniably, the audience will remind you of this almost every time they see you. Oh, there's no question. And that's a done deal. Oh, yeah. It's already done. Oh, I know. Listeners will bring this, like, there will be 65-year-old clean-it, you know, fix-it men over at your house that will say, hey, what was it like when Woods...
What was it like when Jay pulled your pants down on the radio and you kicked him in the butt? Gave truth through the night. I was so quivery. I was this close to mad crying. I mean, I'm this close. You know what, though? You regained your vocal. You regained and you're like, no. You gave us a night. Right back to the mic. Through the night. He had to turn away from the mic to make the kick, so I love how he just returned back. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was like Tay Zonday in Chocolate Rain. I move away for a second, and then I come right back. Catch a breath. Kick a butt. Gosh, that's so mean. I knew it was bad. It's mean. Nicole's right. I knew it was bad when the kick. Gave truth through the night. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that foot. That kick looked like it hurt. There was rage behind that. M1J for president from East County is on the line. Are you there? Hello? Hey, guys. I just want to make sure my candidate's okay. Yes, go ahead. You wanted to make sure Jay's okay? Yeah, I wanted to make sure Jay's okay. Yeah, Jay, are you all right? I'm fine. It doesn't hurt me. I'll be fine. Take a salt bath. Yeah, I ain't a wuss, you know. I mean.
He has a rib-shaped bruise on his butt right now. You want to see it? Yeah. Where did it land? I'll show you exactly. Uh-oh. Don't show me the naked part, but show us where it hit. Right there. Really? Right there. Do you have a wallet on that side? I don't carry a wallet in the back. It's better for you. Lauren, turn your gaze. Can you show us and see if there's a bruise? There's got to be, dude. Is there a Bruce? It's red. Oh, my God. It's red. Is he pulling his pants down behind my head? Yeah. Oh, my God. No, stop it, Jay. You're not a burning man. Oh, gosh. We have breaking news to tell you about. The Red Hot Chili Peppers concert has been postponed due to Anthony Kiedis having surgery this Monday on what? Woods? Hillary said it was his foot. His foot. Maybe somebody took his pants off while he was singing at a concert and he didn't like it very much. Did you just jinx Anthony Keaton? You did it again. I did it again. You did it again. Got pushed back to September 23rd. Red Hot Chili Peppers concert postponed. At least it's postponed and not canceled. Yeah. Better than canceled. 75% of people have already broken their New Year's resolution. 70%.
5%. That's why you don't make them, people. That's no big surprise. You're setting yourself up for failure. I'm doing fine. Oh, God. Of course you are. It's in the basket. What was yours? Not to drink coffee. I didn't really shoot for the stars on that one, huh? Oh, you try. You try not to drink coffee. Okay. Have one cup a day. Work on a morning show and don't drink coffee. Yeah. That's torture. Piece of cake. Oh, yeah, really. Everything's food for you. Lauren O'Brien. Oops, sorry. Sorry, Lauren. Helicopter. Helicopter. Brian has written for us the top ten reasons to jump on the Tebow bandwagon. For your pleasure. Number ten. At this point, you didn't think you had a choice. Number nine. Tom Brady's perfection has gotten boring. Number eight. Maybe you'll be his first. Wow. Wow. Well done. Number seven.
It's the only NFL player you can talk to girls about, which is true. That's a true statement. Number six, you've always liked the thinker sculpture. Yeah, absolutely. I know what that is. Number five, planking is so 2011. Number four, you're trying to get on his good side. His in capital H. That is right. Capital H. Number three, Peyton Manning is hurt. Yes. And number two. You need an excuse to wear your John 316 sweater vest. And the number one reason to jump on the Tim Tebow bandwagon, the other white Bronco jokes have just gotten stale. That, ladies and gentlemen, well done. Very nice, Lauren O'Brien. When you started riding it, were you like, uh-oh, I'm running out ideas? Because I could do like three. Yeah, I got to seven, and I was like, huh.
That's really good. I like this talented broad. She's a very talented broad. Feast. Lady. Angel. Here's what I did yesterday from a recap. Jay. Jay. One of the things Kim wanted for Christmas was a new mailbox. So I picked up a real nice one that locked and had a large capacity. Oh, my God. Well, yesterday I took the old one down and I started to put the new one up. And it looked like crap sitting there in that post. So I decided to pour a small slab and build a cinder block stand. I went ahead and ran conduit to it so we could have lighted house numbers. Now all I have to do is face it with some rock. You ever have a project just doubling price right before your eye? Happy birthday. Or Merry Christmas in this case. I'm speechless right now. The old mailbox was fine. Yes, I had to go get a new set of trousers because my wiener's so big. Oh, my gosh. Hey, you ever just spend money you didn't have on a pair of trousers? A pair of chinos? Oh, my. Oh, Jay. Yes, I had to get a new vehicle. Couldn't support the weight of my testicles because they're so large.
You ever just have to buy a Hummer that you didn't want? You ever just have to make love to supermodels? Over and over. Darn. Well, had to take Kim to the chiropractor. She's hurt again. She's hurt again. Wore it out. Oh, no. You ever just have to have a chiropractor on call? Just realign your wife because you're fucking her. That's right. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I said fucking. I know you did, but it sounded like something else. Holy crap. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. That girl sitting right there. That girl sitting right there. She made our program director blush the other day. Oh, yeah. That's right. Bad. Like, bright red. Oh, my goodness, L.O.B. I was, like, dumbfounded for a minute. My jaw dropped. I was like, what? I said buck. Buck. Come on. There is no filthier woman in the world. Oh, come on.
Jenna Jameson's like, those jokes are too dirty for me. You're creepy. Oh, stop it. You're so slutty. Go listen to Sarah Silverman and I'll look like a saint. Oh, my God. Yeah. Oh, my God. Oh, my gosh. And she said something to me so horrific. Horrific this morning. Horrific. About Burning Man. Oh, my God. Burning Man in a Jacksonville. Don't say. We don't have a gun now. We're rebuilding. We have to let the dump build back up for you. Just turn her mic off. That girl. That girl. Man. Something. Sorry. When I watched our program director turn the color of a tomato, I was like, hey, you're just dealing with what I deal with every day. You go. What did you say? And I repeated it. And he goes, that's not even bad. Yeah, Mikey's like, that's nothing. I said, that is a one on a scale of one to ten. It's unassuming is what it is. That's always the bit. It's what it is. Lauren is a very demure, shy-looking girl.
And she'll just come out with these things that you go, oh my gosh. Blows your hair back, dude. Yeah. Well. I've seen Woods blush. Yeah. She gets me. That's hard to do. So anyway. That was Jay's self-glossing. You just want to know what I did yesterday. Jay's self-glossing. He always finds a way to work a compliment in for himself. In his recap. So I ran conduit to it. Hey, I'm just telling you a story. Well, I also surfed and did go to yoga, too. Oh, my God. I loathe him. So here's what I did yesterday. Ate well, surfed, went to yoga, poured a small slab with a cinder block, ran conduit. Made love to Kim. Surfed again. Made love to Kim. Skated with Jasper. Skated with Jasper. Was a good father. Got a Father of the Year award. Ran more conduit. I won a best looking contest for San Diego Elderly. That's right. Turned the Dave Shelley and the chainsaw down to be their producer. Came back. Made love to Kim again. Bored another slab. Talked to Howard Stern. Told him I just couldn't do it. Couldn't do it.
Didn't know how to make the cement more hard, so I just pulled up my shirt and looked at my abs. I gave Obama some pointers on health care. My goodness. Talk to Mitt Romney again. Again. I'm like, I'm not going to become Republican just for you, Mitt. Gosh. I look at his recaps in the morning. I go, really? Hey. And he always plays it off like, man, you know, that's not what it was about. When we come back, that's a true statement. I'm also going to tell you what percentage of people would tell on someone if that someone was being involved in the Mile High Club. Part of the Mikey Show now. It was against my will. That I had to go to a hotel. Lauren. Pretty much every morning I think that somebody's going to jump out and kill me when I get into my car. And Jay. You know you're in trouble if you can't outrun your grandma. Yeah. This is The Mikey Show on FM 94.9. Oh, man, that reminds me of my childhood. Dave Mason. We just disagreed. Good call, Woods. Yes, sir.
There ain't no good guys. Ain't no bad guys. It's only you and me. We just disagree. It's a jam, dude. Total jam. Love it. You shut your mouth in there. This guy's playing Yuma tonight. Yuma. Ramada Inn. Yep. Skating rink, maybe. Skating rink. This guy, I would guess that this guy, Dave Mason, would be a real life... Crazy heart story. Oh, yeah. In a bowling alley? In a bowling alley. Yeah. We Just Disagree was a big hit at one time. Oh, yeah. I am the band, honey. That's right. Sorry, Mr. Mason, there's no tab for you here at the bar. How much do I owe you? $7.50. I don't get the shot? No, there's no tab for you. It's in your contract. I paid for the beer, but I'm... $7.50. I ain't got it. We got all the free bowling that you can bowl. It's all nuts. Still, if you people out there haven't seen Crazy Hurt, you still need to see it. It's phenomenal. What's his name? Bad Blake. Bad Blake. He's the greatest. Mr. Blake, you can have all the bowling on the house. On the house. As much as you want. Oh, wow. All right. It's the Mikey Show. I'm Mikey. That's Woodsy. That's Lauren O'Brien, otherwise known as L-O-B. That's Jay with the broken butt.
Yeah. Feels just fine. Of course it does. Woods, what's happening in the sporting world? Big news yesterday. Heisman Trophy quarterback Robert Griffin has been reported by ESPN that he will be coming out for the draft. He's going to skip his senior season at Baylor. And listen, so I got the draft order. I thought it might be cool to figure out where he might go. So the first pick is... He's a stud. And I'll tell you, a guy like Cam Newton that has a similar game has really paved the way for a guy like Robert Griffin for teams to say, hey, we know that he can be successful. Colts are picking number one. Everybody knows they're picking Andrew Luck. The Rams are picking number two. They got Sam Bradford. They don't need a quarterback like RG3. The Vikings are at the third pick. They've got Christian Ponder, who actually played pretty well. We're talking running backs. No, this is the draft. This is just the draft. Oh, okay. This is the draft. He's a quarterback. They're saying number four to Cleveland more than likely is where they would not be able to pass up a player like him. Yeah. They have had a bad run of drafting quarterbacks, so they just can't develop him there. So that would be my call, man. RG3 to Cleveland when the draft goes down. Let's see. So, yeah, this report came out and says that only 8%, and I say only 8%,
of people would turn someone in for being in the Mile High Club. That would apply to me because I would be too embarrassed. Yeah. We all know what the Mile High Club is. It's on an airplane and somebody's getting busy. Now, it's a survey that they did. 8% said they'd report it to a flight attendant if they saw the couple doing that on the airplane or caught them. in the lavatory. Survey found that 6% of people would complain if they saw a woman breastfeeding. Oh, my God. Oh, wow. That I don't get. There's not much of a jump there. It isn't. Yeah, not at all. Well, I wouldn't turn... I don't think of that as something that is against the rules, feeding your baby. Think of both of those things as something I'm probably just going to sit back and watch. Oh. Well...
That's probably never been said on the radio either. It just made my skin hurt. Yeah. Made my ears hurt. Well, I mean, why wouldn't I? 33% would consider complaining if someone had bad smelling feet and took their shoes off. What percentage? 33. I'm in there. I would. I wouldn't complain. I'd be embarrassed. Yeah, I would hate it. Oh, yeah. What would you do? I couldn't tell. Excuse me. Not the tattler. Steward. If the person maybe wasn't sitting next to me and was enough rows away that they would not know. That it was you that ratted him out. That ratted him out. I might go, hey, it smells like chips. Ew. It smells like vinegar and corn chips. Disgusting. That's just par for the course. 68% would consider complaining if there was a screaming child. Oh, my God. What are you supposed to do? What are you complaining about? And what are they going to do about it? What are they going to do? Get off the plane? Yeah. We'll just pitch them out. Whoever's complained about a screaming child, you're just wrong. You're a monster. You're just wrong. Yeah. The parents don't like it either. Right. The parents are mortified. The kid can't help it. He's a little baby. You're an idiot. 80% of people would consider complaining about food that stinks. Woods.
You hate that. Boy, I hate that on a plane. Gosh, darn. I wouldn't complain about anything. Eat your freaking Popeyes in the terminal, okay? Sometimes you don't have time. Well, then make time. Get there early. Woods, you are not confrontational. You would not complain about anything. I complain about faulty things on the plane. I got no problem complaining about that. Like if my little headset thing doesn't work, find me another seat or I'll be complaining when I get off. Really? Yeah. She'll write a review real good. What are you supposed to do when your little headset things don't work? And there's a movie show. They never work. Everyone's enjoying it. I'm like, great. Those things never seem to work. I don't, I'm not confrontational, but I'll go, I'll make little comments out loud. Like I'll be like, oh, perfect. Smells amazing in here. Like, I'll do that. Oh, wow. Oh, yeah, I'm that guy. If someone does the full lean back on me, I go, whoa. Whoa. That's why the seats are designed to lean back. Are they? M1 Alex from San Diego is a member of the Mile High Club that got caught. Are you there? Yeah. Oh, wow. Wow. You got caught? Yeah. How did you get caught? Okay. Sorry, I have a cold right now.
Probably got it on a plane. They're full of germs. They're full of germs. You should take your clothes off and make them off. Oh, gosh, Woods. No, you don't get totally... I know, I know. I know you don't. See what you've started? It's the quickness. Lauren, I don't think it's necessary to... I don't want to hit the... All right, I'm going to shut up. All right. Alex, what happened? Okay, so we planned this trip, and... For weeks, my husband was, like, teasing me about, like, being part of the minor high club and all that. And I thought he was kidding. And then he kind of, he wore me down. And, oh, my God, this is kind of embarrassing. Minus the kind of thing. Yes. And then we went. So he had to go. He went to the bathroom first and then told me to follow him.
A few minutes. So we were back there. And we're doing anything. I didn't think we were being that loud or anything. But within, I want to say, like five minutes, there's a knock on the door. Just ignore it. Just ignore it. They'll go away. I'm sure they'll go away. Just ignore it. But they kept knocking. And so eventually, you know. We have to stop and then open the door, and there's two flight attendants there. Oh, my. Oh. Oh, my. They don't like it. They don't like it when you do that. Oh, they don't. What did they do to you? Well, I felt like a little child. They escorted us back to our seats. Not only that, they moved my husband to another seat on the plane that was open. What?
I kid you not. They had to separate you two? Like kids. Like kids. Yes, I was mortified. Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen. Many of you have been complaining about turbulence. And as it turns out, we're actually experiencing the calmest skies that we've ever experienced. Ever. Ever. And we apologize to you, those of you that have been today by what two individuals have taken upon themselves to do. I'm talking about seats 6F and 6C. That is Maria and John Smith, and they were making love in the laboratory. Because they're both perverts. They're a married couple. No. Perverted sexual perverts. Bring on the big ones. They are adventurous. Yes. I got to say, I'm pretty impressed that he could make it five minutes. Man, five minutes. I'd be all excited. It probably felt like five minutes. It was probably like 30 minutes. Yeah, it was probably a minute and a half.
They made you guys like little kids. You had to be separated. Tail between your legs. Separated. Walk out. And everyone knows. Everyone knows what's going on at this point. Everyone knows. Oh, God. I would have been so paranoid. What, Alex? I can never fly the airline again. I never will. Oh, yeah, never. Oh, there's definitely like a mark on your record. Yeah, don't they? Watch this one. Yeah, wouldn't they? Do they? Well, depending on who they are. Depending on what you're like, you could be branded a terrorist. Yeah. Depending on what kind of bobcat you are. Mike, if you make love like I do, there's nine airlines I can't fly on. That's right. Kim says, I'm a terrorist. I make love like a terrorist. Based on how I make love. All right, thanks for the call. You're brilliant. Yeah, she does sound cute. She was sick. Even with the sickness. I mean, my goodness, how horny does one have to be? That you find a sick girl? Betty White could call in. Yes. She sounds cute. You're hot. What's your name? Why don't you send a picture? Say something else. What airlines you found? Send a picture. You sound mature. She knows her way around. Oh, gross. All right, we're going to play That's a True Statement. I reached in, grabbed one, and this says, People saw each other more before cell phones.
That's a true statement. Yes. It is. Cutting edge. Cutting edge. Carrots are orange. You went out on a limb. Sometimes a well runs dry. I just had to write mine out by hand, by the way. So that's in there waiting for you. All right. This one says. If you aren't a Broncos fan, you only like Tebow because it's cool to like him. He's like the Justin Bieber of football. That's a true statement. That is a true statement. Nobody even likes Justin Bieber music. You just like him because it's cool. I listened to a Justin Bieber song on auto-repeat no less than eight times. Save that clip.
Go ahead. Why? Why? What song? What do you like about it? It's Chris Brown featuring Justin Bieber. You like it for the same reason you like Tebow, because you think you're supposed to. Yeah, that's exactly right. Is it because it's just really, really catchy? No. It's really catchy. The drum beat is. Okay, I'm out. Are you? I'm out. Really? I'm out. You're not out. No, you're not. I realize that this may make people hate me, and I understand that. I understand that. But all I can tell you is I like the way that it sounds in my earbuds. No, you don't. You think you're supposed to. Every time it ended, I would double-click it again so it would start again. First, you watched the movie. Yeah. Loved the movie. Oh, I thought the movie was incredible. And now you're a closet fan. No, he's out of the closet.
I have the sensibility of a 12-year-old girl. Why do you like T-Ball? Yeah. That's not catchy to you? I can't latch on to any of it. Yes, you can. You would clean. You say you clean in your underwear to pop music. I would skip this. I would thumb down it so it never came on again. You've reached a new low today, my friend. Have I? Yes, you have. Really? Yes. Your brain was. An honesty low? I think it's the same low as that with Miley Cyrus. Yeah. Hey, listen, I'll tell you how I heard this. Jake was at Gymboree, and I went in there, and this was playing to all the little kids in their Gymboree, and I go, who is that?
Because I liked it. I go, who is it? So I went over to the iPod that was plugged in and it said Chris Brown featuring Justin Bieber. Did you go, oh, no. Yeah, I did. Yeah, I did. I did. And I was like, gosh, I like it, though. Rebecca, listen to it. I know I can't, but I still like it. I listened to this this morning probably seven, eight times. It's just a bunch of auto-tune anyway. Crap. It's garbage. Auto-tune sounds nice in my ears. You love it. Hey, listen, I could do a thing where I pretend that I like all the cool kid music. I could, but the truth is I love pop music. Yeah, you do. Tebow is auto-tuned. Tebow's pop music. You can put Tebow with anything and people will like it. Well, let me ask you a question. Why do you think people like Tim Tebow? Because it's a fad. I know, but why do they like him? I don't know, because he kneels.
I don't know why they like him. Maybe they like him because he kneels. Because he's winning even though he's not supposed to. Right. There you go. The underdog bit. The underdog. The underdog. I'll get his this weekend. Man. I live in San Diego. I'm not going to root for the Broncos. Yeah. I'm going to make love to him and then ruin his little streak. This one says people who take shirtless pictures on Facebook should be banned from Facebook and possibly Neutered. Neutered. Neutered. That's a true statement, my friend. That is a true statement. What if you're at the beach? No, no, no, no. You know which one I'm talking about. In your bathroom with your cell phone and your shirt's off. Yeah. I've never seen a guy other than Anthony Weiner. I'm being serious.
I've never seen a guy other than Anthony Weiner take a picture of himself in the mirror with a shirt on. Oh, there's plenty of them. I'm friends with them. Yeah. I think I am, too. Guys and girls. But if they outlaw that, then they're going to outlaw the girls doing it. The girls don't do topless pictures. No, they don't do topless, but they do the above shot where their cleavage looks the best possible. And I can't have that go away. Well, I think they should be neutered. You forget we're on the radio and you're married. I like to look. There's plenty of sites besides Facebook for that. Yes. But they're not real people. I know, I go there too. There's something about real people. They should be neutered because they shouldn't be able to spread their seed and have other kids that will grow up. In that sort of douchebaggery? I've never seen a dude do that. Oh, I've seen a lot. I'm friends with some of them. And there should be some sort of, like, software. Call if you're that guy. Like, they can tell if there's nudity pictures. There should be some sort of software that detects it and rejects it. And rejects it. Or removes you. Look, I want that guy to call because I know that he can defend himself. He can say... He's got a reason? Well, of course. Well, I know his reason. I've never seen him. It's pride. I understand, but, I mean, that's a very...
That's an easy face value thing. I think there's something deeper seeded in there. I won't allow censorship of any sort. It's just I'm out. You guys. This is America. You should be able to post anything you want. You're a wellspring. Yeah. He's an oil. That's been giving for years and years and years. And people go, eventually this oil will stop coming out. This pure, rich. Texas tea. Texas tea. Uncle Jed just shot his rifle again. And bubbling crude is springing from the ground. The best part of his flubs are what he's... I won't allow soups to sip. He's so serious. He's so stern. What was the one yesterday that was just brilliant? Was it Travolta? John Travolio. He goes, John Travolio.
Sorry, John Travolta. Oh, gosh. I won't allow censorship of any kind. Censorship. Then he slows it down. I have to. Hey, off the air, this is Woods' new bit. This is Woods' new bit with Jay. Woods will purposefully say the word wrong to Jay and position it like he's teaching him the right way to say it. All right, you ready? Oysters. Oysters. Oysters. Oysters. Oysters. Oysters. Yeah, you got it. We did that yesterday. It's guaranteed that he'll mess it up forever. And then what's the lobby is like, you almost got it. You almost got it. All right, hold on. Oysters. Oysters. Oysters. Oysters. Hold on. Come on. Follow me. Say what I say. Oysters. Oysters. Yes. Dang you. Now I'm never going to learn it, Ryan. I had him for a second. Oh, my God. I had him on the right one for a second. I love it. Oysters. Oyster. Oyster, Jay. Oyster. There you got it. Now you got it. It's my favorite. M1 Jose from Poway. Hey, how's everybody doing? Good. Hey, Woods. Hey, Woods. Yeah. You know how hard I work, bro, to look like this, to be able to put up those pictures? There you go. No way, Jose.
Yeah, bro, maybe you don't eat double-double on this. Yeah. Yeah, hey, listen. I get it. Dude, it's cheesy. And you know it's cheesy. I have to ask a question. I have to inter... Make it a salad. Make it a salad. Hang on, Jose. I want to interview you. May I interview you? He's very offended. I like this guy. Jose, may I interview you? Sure. Okay, now I promise I will not attack. I promise. I will. But you must answer every question honestly. I'll try. Now, do you really have the shirtless pictures on your Facebook? I do. Okay. No, I'm not. No, no, no, no, no. I know. No, I know. Go ahead. But here is my question for you. Go ahead. If you have a great body. Uh-huh. Which I do. Which I'm sure you do if you're putting the shirtless picture. I'm sure you do. But don't you think. that it would come across even hotter if you just wore regular clothes? Or do you think to yourself, no, no, Mike, that's actually not true. It's way hotter if the chick sees my nipples. Yeah. It's not the nipples they're looking at. Okay, so it's a six-pack. So you go, if I wore a T-shirt, they can't see my six-pack. Say a 12-pack. Okay. Okay. Now, let me ask you this, because... Hey, I'm not being...
you know, conceited. I understand. Oh, no, not at all. No, no, no. I understand. He earned it. I understand. He's worked very hard. Great. I worked hard in college. You know what my profile picture's not? My effing diploma. I'm not going to make that my diploma. Oh, now that is a good point, Jose. Now that is a good point. You worked really hard in your career, Mike. Is your profile picture your paycheck? No. You know what I mean? That's a good point. But Jose, now Woods makes an interesting point. Is there a difference between the shirtless picture and Woods taking a picture of his diploma? That's apples and oranges. No, it's not. I worked really hard for it. Why? Why, Jose? Why? What does that have to do with how you look? Because I worked really hard for it, man. Are you married? Jose, what would you think if a dude put... I am. What would you think, Jose, if a dude put up a picture of his diploma that said Harvard? Yeah, Harvard.
I wouldn't think anything. You'd be like, you cheese D. Are you thinking you're so badass because you went to Harvard? I'd probably think it was fake. It's being proud about different things. You're proud of your body. Yeah. Hey, listen. If I had a body like I bet you have, Jose, I wouldn't do the shirtless, but I would wear clothes that highlight it. Yeah, for sure. There's nothing wrong with that. Like a flexion t-shirt. Yeah, a flexion. Affliction. If I had a 12-inch penis, should I put that up there? You would. You would. You would do that. Send us a picture. Oh, God. He says he's married. I have an honest question for you, Jose. Go ahead. Jose, you're a married man? Yes. Does your wife get pissed at you for putting shirtless pictures up on Facebook? Oh, yeah. She hates it. Oh, I bet. Oh, yeah. Because girls are like, oh, hey, Jose. Send a little private message to you. Yeah, do chicks write on there and they're like, hey, looking good. Yeah. And you say, no way, Jose. You're a rascal. I mean, I love my wife. I don't cheat on her. But you love your comments better than your wife. Yeah. Hey, you got to be proud of it. Vanity. Hey, trust me. Vanity. You got to be proud of it. Vanity, pal. It's one of the seven deadly. Yeah, that's right. It'll get you real good. There is the coolest device that they're going to be using in Chula Vista. It affects me.

Wow. 21 years old. The girl that he met at the casino in Lima, Peru.
She was killed five years to the day. That's hard to believe. Of the death of Natalie Holloway. Did you hear the craziest part about that? Is that she had gotten into his laptop and found some basically stuff that linked him to the murder of Natalie Holloway. So that's why he killed her. Oh, gosh. Really? Yes. I just read that on Yahoo. What? Well, if that's the deal, then why don't they have it? They got to get it. They got to get that laptop. If they can prove that, then they can obviously prove that he killed her. It's crazy. It's probably not going to be a lot of fun for him in a Peruvian jail. No, those places are crazy. That's just what he deserves. Yeah, take him out as a turd. Yeah. Make it slow. Prisoners get a hold of him. Yeah. I wonder why he doesn't just come clean. About now and late. Yeah, man. He can come clean, come clean. Let's see. Oh, so yeah.
Listen to this. This is a really, this really made me feel good. This comes out of Chula Vista. I think I have it. What did I do with it, L-O-B? Oh, here we go. It's in the UT today. I want to tell my dad about this. And it's going to be available to 50 Chula Vista residents who qualify for the program. It's too bad it's not statewide or something. I know. I know, man. It might be. I mean, if it proves helpful. Yeah, they got to make sure it works. My mom wears a anklet that's just like the prison thing where she always hates it, though. She's always trying to escape from the nursing home. Yeah.
And so she'll sit, and it's locked down. There's a big hallway that they can go in a circle because they never remember where they are. They keep going around in a circle. She's figured out where the front door is. She can remember that. So she sits there and lays in wait, just like in her wheelchair, going, okay, here I go. Right. It's like a GPS kind of thing? Yeah, it's a GPS. Yeah. Drives her crazy. Brutal, dude. Hey, I'll tell you what, though. That's a really, that could really help a lot of families out. Costs $225 plus a $35 a month. fee for the service done that's money well spent right there peace of mind absolutely uh so here's what they found out about binge drinking among young people when young people binge drink on average they're having four to five drinks or excuse me that's what it used to be it used to be that they would have four to five drinks now The study that just came out yesterday says that young adults are drinking nine drinks when they binge drink. Used to be four to five. In college? Now if I had nine, I'd probably literally be dead. Yeah. That's not a euphemism. When you are in college, you could put down nine drinks? Easy. Oh, yeah. Easy. I was going for 21 on my 21st, but. I got it. Well, Woods, yeah.
You're saying easy, but you're a six-foot-tall dude. That's true. She's a small-framed woman. I wasn't always 300 pounds, though. Well, that's not the... College, I wasn't very skinny. Yeah, but still, I mean... College, I wasn't very skinny. Now it looks like, Woods, you're going to have to buy two packs of wine coolers when you go trolling for underage girls. Brings us wine coolers. I'm a married man. When you molest underage girls, Woods... You know, Jay, sometimes... You're going to have to take Bartles and James. They could be 19. Sometimes, Jay, molestation just isn't funny. Oh, I'll make it funny. They're under age at 19. I can. I can. I'll make jokes like that. I'll let the... I'll say, even though it ain't true, I'll say that you are a statutory rapist. All right, fine. Ready? I'll rephrase it. Yeah. Hey, Woods, looks like you're going to need two packs of Zimas next time you go trolling.
Jay, but all you did was... Is that more age appropriate? All you did was just change the drink. Fine, man. Hey, Woods. What? Now, it turns out you're just going to have to have a couple of Teen Beat magazines with you. That doesn't make any sense. It's like you're luring them in with Teen Beat. You're luring them in with Teen Beat. I don't know if they read Teen Beat anymore. No, Tiger Beat. Tiger Beat. I don't think that still exists. How do you know? Yeah, how do you know Creeper? Creep. It's Tiger Beat. I got my subscription up to date. Bieber's in it this week. Last week, it was one of those Jonas girls. Jonas girls. Hey, when you were at your worst, how many cocktails were you knocking back a day? Drinks. In the 20s. Easily. But I was an alcoholic. I'd shake when I didn't drink. You would have 20 cocktails? That's around the clock. Yeah, when I checked into Betty Ford, when I checked into Betty Ford, I drank all morning long, got off the airplane, and they didn't know that I was drunk because by that point I drank so much alcohol that I wasn't like stumbly. It was just maintenance. Yeah. Just maintenance at that point.
And I got off the airplane, went into the Palm Springs Airport. And I remember sitting at the bar at the Palm Springs Airport. And the breaking news was that Martha Stewart had just been indicted on racketeering charges. And I sat there and probably had eight or nine drinks at the bar. And then got in a cab. And the cab driver offered to take me to a bar. Because when I told him where I was going. Yeah. He's like, you want to go knock back a couple before you go in? And I thought about it and I decided not to. And then relapsed once and then got back on the wagon. That's 20 cocktails is a lot of me. It was in the 20s. It was bad. It was awful. Awful. I mean, that is the worst kind of life. Yeah. That's an everyday thing. Every day. My thing was just go hard once a week.
And hard. I mean, I go hard once a week, but I couldn't do the five, six, seven days a week. I went hard like three times a week in college. You did? Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Oh. I know about. Random Tuesday. We do have to break, don't we? Oh, yeah. Yeah. I held the sign up. Did you? Shut up, Mike. Fat boy. I held the sign up. You didn't give me any signal. I phoned Ashton Kutcher. City Council has decided that they are going to... require porn actors to wear condoms during filming shoots. They tentatively approved that through the L.A. City Council yesterday. Vote 11 to 1. Now, they need a second vote for final approval, but producers, basically, they're going to have to provide and require condoms on the set in order to get permits to film in the second. biggest city in America. Who's the one creep to vote against it? I know, right? There was one person that was like, I don't think they should wear condoms. Oh, absolutely not. Now, Jay, is that going to affect, like, are you allergic to latex or anything? How's that going to affect your filming schedule? Ah, okay. That is, apparently the people for free speech think that I guess it's some sort of a... Gotta keep those people safe. National treasure.
National treasure. I consider like Willie Nelson a national treasure. You know, he's like American. I consider Mount Rushmore. Yeah, that too is a national treasure. That's more like a national monument though. Yeah, but it's also a national treasure. It's ours and we're proud of it. Statue of Liberty. But that's from the French. That's true. That is true, so get with that. Yeah, you know, I think the condom and the porn kind of takes away from the performance of it, but, you know, they get my vote for safety. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Here is Wood singing the national anthem earlier today, and Jay pulling his pants down in the middle of it, and then Wood's kicking Jay. Let's be technical. Pulling Wood's pants down. That's right. I'd pull him my own pants down. Right. Gave truth in the night. Does your foot still hurt? No, it feels better. It feels all right? Yeah. Get about 30 minutes on the elliptical. Feel real good. Gave truth through the night. Like raw meat. It does. It sounds like Rocky punching raw meat. Gave truth through the night. Rage. Full on rage.
Woods was really upset. Yeah, he was. Embarrassed. He was singing the national anthem. It was so hard to do. That was an overreaction. You were giving it everything you had. I was, man. It felt like I was nude anyway. Tried to help you along. Almost nude. And then you messed the words up. And right at the moment that you messed the words up, he pulls your pants. And you were mad. I haven't been that mad in years. Hopping mad. I don't know that I've ever been that mad sober, and I'll tell you that right now. That's a true statement. That's a true statement. Fair enough. I've taken you to a new level. Yeah, you have. Jay can get you. Yeah. Jay can get you, Riley. Jay can get you. Nobody except for my brothers gets me as riled up as Jay. Oh, yeah. He'll get you. And the thing is, it's the same thing as my brothers. It's the same reason my brothers. It's always, no, you didn't. No, you didn't. Same bit with my brothers.
