Super Bowl weekend. I go through a period of not much going on in sports. There's a sports no-man's land that occurs, and we're about to head into it after the Super Bowl. I'm just warning you guys that Monday I will be very depressed. Yeah, because there's not going to be football. There's no baseball. And, you know, those are the big sports, you know? You know what you got? What? You got college basketball, you got basketball, and you've got hockey. That's it. So feast. And I could care less about anything. I like college basketball, but not until it gets to March Madness. Me either. The final four. I'm all the way in on those four teams. Yeah. Watching that. And I like the pool that we do. I like the whole thing. Yeah. 5701949. Mikey's show is on now at 530 in the morning. We go to 530 to 9. And let's hear from you. We're going to have a correspondent named Peter Van Zandt on today.
From 48 Hours Mystery. Good one this weekend, man. It's a good one. It's always good. I watched one yesterday that I had TiVo'd about a 14-year-old girl and her 19-year-old boyfriend that whacked her mom because mom didn't want to let them be together. And it was riveting. It's one of those deals where when it came to commercial, I was like, hitting the TiVo. Couldn't get there fast enough to find out what's going to happen in this deal. 48-hour mystery. They do such a good job of sucking you in and, you know, kind of twisting and turning, and you don't know what's going to happen. You never know. You never know. They're not predictable. That is a true fact. A little bit later also, you're going to get to see a photograph of Lauren O'Brien and all the ladies that are going to be dancing. The troupe. Yes, the troupe, and they look good. Yeah, that's what I woke up to this morning. Yeah. That's a nice train. I put my phone up. And I clicked it up and I went. Yeah. And we weren't even dolled up. I mean, we were. We added some stuff, but we were at rehearsal. Imagine what we're going to look like. That day. Yeah. My eyes would have done the cartoon. They pop out of your eyes. Yeah. So everybody will get to see that picture.
because we're going to post that picture on Facebook, but also put it on MikeyShow.com. And what are we talking about? It's going to be LOB dancing, Pussycat Doll style dance, and it's going to take place on Friday, February 17th in a live broadcast that we're doing from 5.30 in the morning until 9 in the morning at the House of Blues. It's free. Get down there. And if you want to eat, you got to pay. But there will be stuff for you to eat down there. There will be stuff for you to drink down there. But there will be a charge for it. This is M1 Buzz from Claremont. What's going on, dude? Hey, man. I woke up at 5.30 just for you guys. Today is my day off, and I will be listening for all three and a half hours. Yeah. Oh, man. Thank you. Yeah. I feel your pain when you're waking up. I got 5 o'clock practice as a coach, so I feel your pain. Coach what? Water polo. There you go. That is a hard, hard sport. Boys or girls? Both. Hey, is the water heated? I mean, some days, but some days the pool craps out. And so you got to hop in and 66 degree water. Holy cow. You ever just tread water for like three hours and catch balls and throw? That's what they do. So hard. In high school, those were the dudes that were like getting all the ladies. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Those are the dudes that were seriously, man. Those are the dudes that were all cut and just, you know, good shape, usually tall.
They were tall dudes. Yeah, I was the butterball of the group. Were you? I know the feeling, buddy. I can relate to that and cannot relate to water polo. So there you go. You'd have been a good buoy. I would have been a great net. A good buoy. Yes. They come to you and they rest on you as they get a sip of water. Yes. And then they go back in the game. Is there any thought? that could even be sadder. They say fat floats. Not that you're fat, Mike. I'm just saying. Just bringing that up as a random fact. So all that muscle on those guys is even harder for them. Yeah, that's right. That is a true story. Hey, thanks for the call. Love you, buddy. Love you, man. That's M1 Buzz. So, Governor Jerry Brown. is going to be, he had to sign this deal that will allow school buses to continue to get kids that live out in areas like Julian because they were not going to do that. He had cut 248 million bucks out of the budget here in California and parents freaked out and the schools freaked out too because if those kids are not in class, they don't get funding. And so everybody started screaming and running around with chickens with like their head cut off and Governor Brown
Had to sign this emergency deal that will keep those school buses going out and picking kids up. Matt's niece lives in Rancho Penasquitos in PQ. And if she wants bus service, she's in middle school. They have to pay for it. So her mom takes her. It boggled my mind that a bus wasn't just a given service. How crazy is that? You got to pay for it. Pay for it. Well, here's the deal, man. It's good news that he signed this deal that's going to get him to go pick him up again. By the way, this is the front page of the UT today. The problem is it's going to be a problem again this time next year. This is only a Band-Aid. It's only going to plug the hole until next year, and then they're going to have to deal with it all over again. It'll be a new mayor by then, won't it? It will be a new mayor. It will be a new mayor. So he'll have to deal with that. Speaking of the mayor, they want raises. The mayor, the city council, they want raises. I got no problem with people getting raises. I think people should get raises. I hear you. And so I'm not going to, I can't look a man or woman in the eye and say to them, well, you just don't deserve it. Right. But there are people that are upset that during a time where we're in a lot of economic crisis that they would take raises. But we do have to take something into consideration. We live in a place that is not very, you know, cheap. We live in a place that's...
You know, that is very expensive to live. Now, unless we want to start saying, well, here's what I think you deserve. My opinion, somebody decides what they're going to get paid and we just go for it. Let me give you some numbers, though. The mayor of San Jose makes one hundred and sixteen thousand dollars a year. OK, the mayor of L.A. makes two hundred and thirty two thousand dollars a year. The mayor of Chula Vista makes one hundred and eighteen thousand a year. Wow. San Jose and Tula Vista, same amount-ish. Yeah. A little bit more, actually. Yeah, well, not much. Not much, but the San Diego mayor, Jerry, Jerry, why did my brain just go blank? Jerry what? I don't know. Sanders? Jerry Sanders, yeah. He makes $100,000 a year.
It's not enough. No, I don't think so either. How does he make less than the two of this? I don't know. But don't you guys think, well, gosh, that's... He should make more. I don't think so. Well, here's what they're... Oh, boy, I see. And that is, therein lies the problem. What they're recommending, and it's going to go up to a vote, and it won't happen. I bet you it won't happen. They're recommending that he be put on par with the mayor of L.A. Yeah. A little less. I don't know about that. $235,000 a year is what they're saying that they're recommending Mayor Sanders get. City council members. Let's run down that list, okay? City council member in L.A. makes $178,000 a year. City council member in San Jose makes $82,000 a year. City council member in Shuler Vista makes $47,000 a year. San Diego, $75,000. So they want raises. I think they deserve them. Now, here's what they're recommending. $175,000 a year. It's quite a jump. It's more than 100%. It's more than 100%. It's a big jump. Jay says... Yeah, maybe we get the city back on track before we start handing out raises. That doesn't really seem justifiable. No. More than 100% increase? It's a lot. I'll give you 3% this year. To keep up with inflation? Well, yeah, as long as you...
Things turn around. Maybe let's, you know. Incentive base. Yes. With all due respect to San Diego and the city officials and employees, I think they've got more on their plate in L.A., and I don't think it should be necessarily a direct comparison. We are a mess. I think we got, we're a mess. I think we got, you know, our city council. It's a lot bigger. There's a lot more crime there. A lot more stuff going on there. I just think it's unfair. I don't think they get paid enough. I don't think anybody does, though. Nobody gets paid enough. It's a true statement. But as soon as the pothole on my street gets filled, it's been circled with white spray paint for the last year. It's like a hole that could swallow a child. That pothole, it needs to get fixed. It's the death of him. I've been bitching about that freaking pothole. I can picture him getting off the air, going home, parking his truck. Walking down to that pothole and just staring at it. And cursing at it. Who do you think put that spray paint around it? They did. They clearly know it's there. They've come out with a guy that they're like, their vest on. They're like, yep, here's one right here. Let's fix this someday. Every day he probably looks at it and goes, happy freaking birthday. Pothole. Look who's here. Pothole. Charger Stadium. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Pothole. You could fit Charger Stadium in there. Almost. Why don't we just use this as a new stadium? Maybe you swerve and avoid it. I do.
Okay, then you're fine. But the city of Encinitas, the city of Carlsbad, the city of whatever, man, they're the ones. I think they should all get fired for that one pothole. Maybe. You always talk about that pothole. That pothole makes him insane. I bet he dreams about it. You know, twitches in the middle of the night. Pothole. Kim goes, pothole again? Yep. Yep. Kept me up all night. Curses at drivers. You pothole! 570-1949 is the number. This is M1 David from San Diego. You there? How are you guys doing this morning? Pretty good. What's up? Hey, just so you guys know, I don't normally call, but I heard you guys talking about the mayor and the city council wanting pay raises. Currently, the city council is pushing for a ballot measure to go on the ballot that will give all other city employees a five-year wage freeze. That's kind of convenient. B.S. Isn't that nice? So they want a raise, but everybody else has to have a freeze. Yeah, a couple years ago when they gave city employees a six-year wage freeze, the city council members were saying, well, we can't afford it. And I'm pretty sure the city council, the city employees couldn't afford it either then. So what's good for the goose is good for the game. That was running through my mind, that exact phrase. Thank you for the call. No worries. Yeah, he's got a point there. He's got a point there. And our city is just a mess. I mean, it really is. Upside down and...
There is so many budgetary problems. It's just a freaking mess. Pretty lights, though, on the Coronado Bridge. Yeah. Hey, LLB, I'm with you. Freaking lights. Very nice. I don't know how much. $100,000 or something. Something like that. That's a city official's salary right there. Yeah. At library. Downtown. Something else. They want to build a multi-million dollar library. Maybe we'll use the one we got. That's how I feel about the stadium. Oh. Books, more important. You get your books online now, okay? You don't need a library. I want a stadium too, man. I do. So you guys can watch how cool it looks from your couch? Yes. Look at that. It's just civic pride. I don't know, man. Civic pride. Yeah, it is civic pride. It's civic pride. You know, such a thing exists as civic pride, and that's the kind of thing that you, that's the kind of thing you take pride in. Yeah, when I grew up outside of Philadelphia, a lot of civic pride. A lot of people supporting their team. Not so much here. No.
Well, if you build it, they will come, just like Petco. Just shoot them with a green screen. You guys are so mean when it comes to that thing, that stadium. You just don't understand. Oh, man. No understanding, not an understanding bone in your guy's body. What if they did like the shared, like they used to do at Qualcomm, the shared field. So at Petco, then the Chargers would be there too. Nothing turdier. Mike, is there any, Lauren's like the mean mom that's like, you can play with your brother's stuff too. Is there anything turdier? than watching Philip Rivers drop back on the middle of the freaking infield and throw the ball down the field. Come on, man. Niners did that forever. It was the most ghetto. It's so ghetto. They should give a trial run if people come down to the cool stadium. A trial run. Next season. You know what they should do? They should build it out of papier-mâché.
Just to see if anyone comes. No, there's already a stadium there. It's beautiful, and it's downtown, and it's part of the skyline. You're so mean. Let's just give it a try. Hey, you proved to me that people are going to come out and get a stadium. Well, from some of the things that I've read lately about the new Charger Stadium, it's not going to cost. They're looking for investment groups. They're not looking to raise taxes. Not necessarily. It'll make too many people happy. I don't want it. I don't want it. If there's private investors, not only will I support it, but I'll go to the games. In this cool new scene? I would go. Hell yeah. I really would. Let's see. M1TT from Poway. Hi. Good morning, Mikey Show. Good morning. I just wanted to call and say, Mikey, I've been listening to you since before Jakey was born. It's my first time to call. That's awesome, dude. I'm sitting here at work. What do you do? I work at General Atomics in Poway. What is that? We make the Predator, the Reaper. All the UAVs that you guys are hearing about. What's a UAV? A manned aerial vehicle. Yeah. Whoa. Oh, yeah. No way. That's hard. Yeah, it is. He's got a big brain. Yeah. That's badass. Yeah. That's us. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You don't have anything to do with that thing that the Iranians caught, do you? Oh, no, no. That's a different company. That's a different. Okay. Yeah. Let me ask you, because I'm going to have this conversation with my brother at some point, because I've already kind of had it.
I wasn't that concerned when Iran got our drone. And the reason I wasn't is because I said, you know, we're pretty smart. And I have to think that we anticipate that if it fell into the wrong hands, there's a safeguard or measure on that drone that would destroy, like, valuable information. Is that true or no? That is correct. Good. We'll just leave it at that. Yeah, let's leave it at that. Top secret information. That's not really top secret. I mean, that's just smart. It's just smart. It's just common sense. It's smart. My brother was all freaked out about it. I said, Mark, they ain't going to get crap out of that damn drone. And he said, I don't know. They're pretty good. And I said, no. I said, so are the Americans. I said, and I think that we have taken into account that the enemy might get one of our very valuable toys. And we don't want them to know how we do it. That is correct. If a dopey DJ can think of that on the radio. Don't call Jay that. That's true. I apologize, Jay. But you know what I mean. I know what you mean. All right. Well, hey, thanks for the call, man. It's good to hear from you. Love to hear you guys. Thank you, man. On earlier now, so we can make you happy. That guy's sitting at his desk right now. Yeah. Making a run. Yeah. Punxsutawney Phil.
Well, here's the deal. So he comes out yesterday and he says that there's going to be more winter. Okay. Because he saw his shadow. But there's other groundhogs. Yeah. He's not the only one. Chicago Larry. Akron Andy. Staten Island Chuck, which apparently yesterday I reported falsely on the air. Listen. Woods, you're not far off. There's other prognosticators out there. It's not just Puxatani, okay? A lot of competition. West Virginia has French Creek Freddy. Of course. Nice beaver. No, it's not a beaver at all. It's a groundhog. It's a groundhog. He gets to play that job. Georgia has General Beauregard Lee. Nice beaver. No. These are groundhogs, not beavers. Michigan has Woody the woodchuck. Ah. Nice beaver. It's a woodchuck. It's a woodchuck. How much wood? Ohio has Buckeye chuck. And New York Staten Island has Staten Island chuck. Now, all those guys, they had a different... Nice beaver. They all saw something different. Yeah. Weird. It's a freaking woodchuck. No, no, no. But they were all considered... All five of them. They all five saw the same thing.
So Puxatani Phil says it's going to be a longer winter, but all the rest of them say, no, it isn't. Summer's coming early. Spring's coming early. I'd love to know the percentage of correctness. Me too. I would not. You need to get older so you care about dumb stuff. She's younger than I am. You're still too young. Okay, I want you to be in my book where you get old and you get interested in stupid stuff like me. The day that I'm like, ooh, Bucsutani Philzad, just shoot me in the head, please. I want you to have glasses down at the bottom of your nose and I want you to read that in the newspaper and find it kind of interesting. No way. Honey, look at this. Babe. Dear. Look, dear. Bucsutani Philzad is going to be a longer winner. I can promise you it will never happen. Yeah, well. Well, it's already there for me. You're all the way in. I've been in for a while. Yeah. I think it's interesting. I want to know. Let's see. M1. Johnny from Ramona. Is that right? What's up, Mikey? How you doing, man? What's going on? Hey, just wanted to say I love you guys. Happy Friday. Have a good weekend. Awesome. Love you, too. Nice of you to say. Feeling the love today. Yeah, we are. Yeah, we are. M1.
Paige from Claremont. What's going on? No, I was just going to say that I think the ground hunting is silly. Isn't it all based on geographical location? I mean, every city has got different weather. That's right. That's a true story. However, however, five of these prognosticators made the same prediction yesterday. And I do find it interesting. What? Well, they must have been having a sunny day that day. Yeah, they were. A shadow hits them. I wonder if it's all the same time of day because the position of the sun changes the shadows as well. Of course, it wouldn't be scientific if they did it all will and right. They just did it different times. Different variables just throwing everything around. It may be the dumbest American tradition. I just thought about it. Name a dumber American tradition than that. Oh, we've got many. Like what? We've got a lot more dumb traditions. That's the worst. What's Flag Day? It's to celebrate our flag, which is what we fight for our freedom. Yes. Is it celebrating our flag? Yes. Well, in my house it is. What do you do? You just fly the flag? Yeah, I fly it real good. Who does that? I do it. You do not. What are you talking about? You guys are wired. Now Mike's racking his brain. I have multiple flags. But you have them out every day. What do we do that's dumber than...
Punxsutawney Phil. Nothing. It's number one. Hot dog eating contest? No, those are genius. That's just Mikey's house. L.O.B. Those are genius. Staten Island. Cruel, cruel man. People in other countries, like people in India are like, freaking groundhog day. People in other countries are like, hey, maybe hand me a hot dog. You guys have 150 each. Maybe I can have one and feed my whole family. Maybe hand me a groundhog. Eat for a month. It's just silly that, you know, that's an American thing. Groundhog Day. No, once a year we get together and we have a bunch of dudes eat freaking hot dogs. Yeah. Now the Japanese are in on it. Yeah, Kobayashi. Kobayashi guy will get you. Girl, too. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We have anything else? Yeah, but nothing's worse than us waiting for a groundhog to come out of a hole, look at his shadow, and then that will predict winter. There's nothing worse. I think Valentine's Day is pretty stupid. Yeah, that's true. It's because, I mean, you have to love your wife. No, I love my wife. You don't like spending money. I don't need a made-up day to take her out. It's not a made-up day. It's not made up. St. Valentine is a real saint. Yeah, but wouldn't he be the saint of love? He is not the saint of love. The saint of love. Of course he is. Why do you think that he's not the saint of carburetors? He's the patron saint of love? Yes. I don't believe that. St. Valentine. He wouldn't be the patron saint of anger, and then we turned it into, like, love. What did he have to do with cupids and hearts?
We'll find out during the break. We'll find out and we'll tell you. I think it's really sweet. What about Easter eggs? And you do too, by the way. Lauren O'Brien admitted to us that the first year she worked with us, she told a fib on the air. She lied. She's doing it again. She's doing it again. You're not going to bamboozle me this time, lady. It's a commercial holiday. She pretended that she was out on Valentine's Day, then admitted to us later. She thinks it's romantic and likes it. Yeah, she's in on it. I'm not in on Easter baskets for adults. Oh, gosh. I am. Me too. And my wife. I'm all in. Let me tell you something. Before I got married, my wife used to do that. She's not listening right now, so I can tell you. Oh, does it break my heart? I want that so bad. Hell yeah. Oh, it used to be so loving. I used to get such love from it. It's the greatest. She put some stuff in there for you. Lauren, if you do that for your man, I'm telling you, you melt his heart, man. That's like a convenient Christian thing, though, for him. For him, because he doesn't go to church. Why would he get, you don't get rewarded with a chocolate basket if you don't go to church. It's sweet. It's just a sweet thing. It's for kids. Oh, you're so. It's for everyone. Trix, silly rabbit, Easter baskets are for kids. No way. Lauren and Jay.
are like two peas in a pod. These two are so... If they dated, they would give each other sand for presents. No, that's not true. I think for Valentine's Day, I think you should celebrate your wife or loved one weekly. Don't wait until one time a year. You're so full of S over there. Tell me the last time you did... I can't even ask him because he'll make something up right now. Immediately. Oh, yeah, Mac. I whittled a heart and gave it to Kim. And I just do things like that once a week. I put a picture of my dong on it. Yeah. She hangs it over her bed. What's the last real sweet thing you did for your sweetheart? We just went on a date. Just the two of us went on a date. No, I mean did something like really thoughtful and romantic. Well, it depends on what you think. I'm not talking about sex. Thoughtful and romantic. Well. It's not really her romantic is different than yours. Her romantic is I built her the badass mailbox. That's really what she wanted. I mean, that was what she wanted. I bench press 220. Yeah. She loved it. She loved it. That's called a honey do list. Yeah. No, no. That's a chore. She's like, I shaved my chest for her.
Yes, in my chest. And my undercarriage. If you get my drift. I existed. I woke up in a good mood. Yeah. That's romantic. That's what I did for her. I let her smell my breath. Which is like an angel's kiss. I let her wash my hair. I let her wash my hair. I let her shine my shoes. She loves it. How many girls out there would, if I went on Craigslist today and said, this is Jay Isbell, you can wash my hair. Girls would be lining up and I'd have to turn them away. My wife? I let her do it. What's left of it? I let her get after my blackheads. That's great. What? Oh. He is something else, man. You are. Gosh. I'm just pretending that he's Mr. Romance over there. I am Mr. Romance. The last romantic thing you did, according to you, I made my wife. I made my wife a mailbox. You are a piece of work over there. Yeah, I ran conduit too, man. I did. It does. It looks like the damn Sears Tower in Chicago. It does. You've seen it. Hey, fellas, if you're looking for a great Valentine's idea for this year, don't discount making a mailbox. Why? Conduit to a mailbox is the way to a woman's heart. That's right.

Seems the New York Mint is releasing to the public classic U.S. gold coins. There's a number you can call for free historical information and a free DVD. Got to be listening for it intently. You got to really, because I'll put that word out there without you even noticing. When I do call her nine, I'll give you SeaWorld tickets. Get ready. Also, why don't we go ahead and post the photo. Post it now? Yeah, let's go ahead and post it now. Post the photo of L.O.B. and the ladies that she's going to be dancing with at the House of Blues on February 17th. We do a live broadcast. Oh, yeah. It's a good picture, man. It's L.O.B. and 10 girls. Bras and panties. No, it isn't bras and panties. Rehearsal clothes.
It's rehearsal clothes, and they look great. They look great. They look foxy, man. Yeah, they do. Bunch of good-looking girls. It's Ella B's dream to dance like a pussycat doll, and she's going to do that, and it's open to the public. All M1s are invited to take the day off and come and hang out. Live broadcast from 530 to 9 on Friday, February 17th. This is M1 HB from Scripps Ranch. Hi. question about HOB. When we get there, if we get there early, do we line up on the 6th Avenue side or the 5th Avenue side? That's a good question. Legitimate question that I don't have an answer to. I would imagine 6th, but we should probably double check. It was 6th for the rehearsal. That's exactly where we headed in from. We will plan for 6th Avenue then. That'll be the safe bet. We should definitely put that out there. Wonderful. Thanks, guys. Have a good day. Thank you. You too. Bye. Alright, so much going on. Woods, I want to know about this email that Giselle wrote to Tom Brady. Man, this guy is taking a ration of grief from people about an email that was leaked. Giselle sent it out to family and friends before the Super Bowl. I'm going to read you the email and what it says. It says, I feel Tommy really needs our prayers, our support, and love at this time. My sweet friends and family, this Sunday will be a really important day in my husband's life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point, and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill.
Where did that go out to? It went out to her close friends and family. Now, somebody got a hold of this email. They reached out to Giselle. wanting her to comment on it. And she said, well, they must not have been that close friends and family. Somebody let it go. Yeah. Yeah. And so it says Giselle wrote this person back that found it and leaked it. Yeah. And said, I'm surprised you received this email. It was a private note only sent to close friends and family. Now, yesterday I was watching Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith debate this thing. Right. And I'm like, first of all, number one, it's badass. It's badass that your wife would do that for you. Sweet. I think it's awesome. There's no... People are like, Tom Brady needs to have his man card pulled. I'm like... He didn't do anything wrong. He didn't do anything wrong. And you know what? Neither did she. What? Oh, come on. It's super sweet. I think there's a little bit of her that's like, well, he hasn't had a Super Bowl while I've been in the picture. I want to be a part of it. Oh, I don't think so at all. That's identical Giselle, by the way. That was identical Giselle. Yeah. I don't think so at all. I think that...
It's very sweet. And if my wife did that before I had a big interview or a big something, you know, that was happening, a big performance, I would think that was kick-ass. People just like to criticize every freaking thing. You've got to find something wrong with the guy, don't you? There's nothing wrong with the dude. It was nice. It was sweet. All the quotes that come out, she's just so, like, arrogant. So I just... take her with a grain of salt. That felt really kind and sweet and heartfelt, man. And so they asked Tom, they said, well, tell us about this email. He goes, I don't know anything about it. Okay. And they said, well, did she give you any advice? And he goes, yeah, she always tells me to throw the ball quickly because she doesn't like when I get hit. So get rid of the sweet girl. She's awesome. Yeah, I'm in. I'm all the way in. People are stupid. But Tom Brady was talking to the press yesterday about wanting to finish this season on a high note. Unlike the other playoff games where you're not really sure how it's going to go the following week, now we know how it's going to go. You're not going to see each other after Monday. So you just enjoy the experience with those guys, and then hopefully we have a lot of reasons to celebrate on Sunday night.
Time of your life, pal. Time of your life, bro. This is the best it gets. Gosh darn, he's going to look back in about 10 years and go. Man, those were the days. Those were the days. Whatever team wins, that's going to be a celebration. Oh, yeah. New York or Boston, so you know it's going to be big. A big celebration. I think it's going to be a damn good game. I do, too. I do, too. It is Sunday. It is at 3.30. It is on NBC, and it's Chris Collinsworth and Al Michaels calling the action. And the Giants are currently being given three points. Yeah. Now, on the entertainment side of it, Kelly Clarkson is going to sing the national anthem. Yes. And the halftime entertainment is Madonna. Why the hell is she performing at the Super Bowl? Madonna. Her music, it sucks way back. Is that what I said? I don't hate her. Yeah, I don't either. And, no, first time I heard that, I didn't hear that part. Like brazen. Like, that's brazen. I'm not looking forward to that halftime. No. Use it to visit with people. I will.
I'm going to be visiting like a madman. I would not be watching the game, so don't worry. This will not surprise anybody, but I'm interested. I'm interested in seeing it. Nice beaver. Oh, man. Gosh, darling. But I'm an old woman. You know what I don't like about it this year? I'm not jumping up and down for it. I'm not like, you know. It's not like it's Los Lobos or something where you'd be glued to the TV. But I'm telling you that, you know what I don't like about it this year? Is that she has come out and she's like, I'm so nervous. I'm like. Be confident and do a badass job. Don't be all, like, skittish about it. Yeah. Eat a sandwich. Mm-hmm. Eat a sandwich? And have a sandwich. Oh, man. She looks so deathly skinny right now. Skeletor. Really? Yeah. So let me put a picture on our Facebook page, MikeyShow.com. MikeyShow, Facebook. Hey, tomorrow, speaking of Facebook, is the eighth anniversary of something called Facebook that was founded eight years ago tomorrow. Wow. Happy birthday. That's right. Let's see.
Do you know who Blythe Danner is? Mm-hmm. That's Gwyneth Paltrow's mom. Yep. She was also meet the parents. Attractive older lady. 69 years old, my friend. Mm-hmm. Today. Great age. Morgan Fairchild from Dallas. 62 today. Still would. The guy that invented the Heimlich maneuver. Jim Heimlich. Mr. Lick. Henry. Oh, Henry Heimlich. Henry Heimlich. He's 92. Henry. Nathan Lane is 56. Isla Fisher. Fabulous. Oh, yeah. Yes. Mamacita. Yes. Mamacita, Mamacita, Mamacita, Mamacita. Isla Fisher is 36. Wow. And Fran Tarkenton, who I would... If somebody would have said Fran Tarkenton is 104, I would have gone... Yeah? Okay. Minnesota Vikings quarterback. That's right. Fran is... And Hall of Famer. Yep. He's 72 today. Big football weekend. Super Bowl. Here, here, here. Speaking of football, how about Quentin Jammer's houses? He's selling them. It's in the UT today. They say that one of the houses is selling for $1,275,000, and the other one is cheaper and a bargain at $1,095,000. Wow. And that one is a golf villa in the Crosby community. Hmm.
Is there a package deal where you can get them both? Yeah, what about that? Wouldn't that be nice? What's a package deal? It's like a deal. It's like pickles. Pickles in a, like, wrapped up? With a bow around it. Oh, okay. These are east of Rancho Santa Fe. And in the 92127 zip code. I bet they're legit. Yeah. Same guy that does my fish tank does his fish tank. Oh, nice. Careful you don't get crabs. You know what I'm saying? Yes, Lauren. I do. Why would I get crabs? From the fish tank. Your fishes might get it from his fishes. Crab. So you're saying that Quentin Jammer has crabs. That's in fact what you're saying? In his fish tank. Yes. Blue soft shell.
You're something else. You are something else, you weirdo. Yeah, weirdo. You really are something else. AJ was over there sleeping. Someone had to do it. Let's see. 5701949. This is M1. Petey from San Diego. You there? Yeah. What's going on? I was listening the other day and I heard Lauren talking about an earwig. I actually had one crawl into my ear while I was sleeping. When? When? When? When? About a year ago. Oh, my God. Did it wake you up? Yes. So I had just showered and I thought it was water. So I stuck my finger in there. It's the water out. And it like I sat straight up and started screaming. My husband woke up and went straight back to sleep. And I ran to the bathroom and I'm a nurse. So I had a syringe and I flushed it out. Oh.
Oh, my gosh. Oh, my. It was running around in her sink after coming out of her ear. I would have moved. I would have moved houses. It's the thing with the pinchers and all the little legs. Yeah. That's what it is? Yes. Oh, my gosh. I'm never going to sleep again. That would maim me mentally. It would mentally maim me. There'd be a 0% chance that. If it happened to any one of us, that we'd be at work the next day. No, because it would ruin our week. Oh, we'd stay up all night. Yeah, it would ruin our week. Was it so loud? Yes, it was really loud, and it hurt, too. I'm itching. My body's itching. Oh, my gosh. So then I looked it up, and everything I read said that earwigs, it's a myth that they don't actually crawl in your ears. Oh, no, it isn't. No, it's not. Oh, my gosh. Apparently, it is not a myth. You just ruined her day. What if it laid eggs? No. Oh, in your brain. I hear it takes about a year. Yeah, it's like an earwig form in your ear. That is so creepy. My sister had an ant in her ear one time, and she said it was walking on her ear drum, but it was like. Oh, my gosh. She said it was the loudest thing. Oh, my gosh. Dude, I don't.
Is there anything creepier than the thought of something inside you? Your ear. Oh, gosh. Knock it off, you two creeps. Gosh, grow up. Grow up. I didn't mean it like that. I meant... Thank you for the call. Yep. Gosh, darn. Just ask our wives. Or me. Quiet now. Quiet now. Quiet it down. You guys are really something else. I think we're all on one today. Yeah, we are. They're taking odds with the Super Bowl. They do this every year where they take these really weird odds on stuff, and you can actually bet on these things in Vegas. Will Kelly Clarkson forget or omit at least one word of the national anthem? And the odds, you can actually bet on this, in Las Vegas are 5 to 2. What will she wear?
There are odds on what she will wear. An official NFL or Super Bowl shirt, 9-4. A Colts jersey, 7-1. A Giants jersey, 15-1. A Pats jersey, 15-1. And anything else are 1-3 odds. Will her belly button be showing? I hope not. Odds are 3-1. Sometimes he's like mean Tourette's. It's just like he has... It's mean Tourette's. He's got to spit it out. He's got bigger. What color will Madonna's hair be? The odds on blonde are one and four, one to four. And anything else is five to two. So you can bet on this dopey stuff if you want to. You can bet on anything. Yeah. Super Bowl. Unbelievable. All right. So I had these Facebook stories I wanted to tell you about because, you know, the initial public offering went up yesterday. And when they did that, they released some financial numbers on Facebook.
They are insane. Last year, they had $3.7 billion in revenue. Oh, my God. They made in profit $1 billion. A billion dollars. They have 483 million users who are active on the site every single day and 845 million people. who are active on Facebook at least once a month. Unbelievable numbers. Yeah. Zuckerberg, his stake in the company, $28 billion. Wow. Wow. $28 billion. Which, by the way, only makes him the ninth richest person alive. There's another guy that works for the company. He was one of the early investors, a guy named Peter Thiel.
He will get $2.5 billion back from his initial investment of half a million dollars. Oh, my gosh. Some of the numbers. Wow. Some of the numbers on Facebook. What a return on investment. Yeah. Oh, my God. Man. That makes me sick to my stomach. Yeah. You know, I can't decide if it's, you know, because what we know about the Internet is that stuff comes and it goes and comes and it goes. And I'm just, I'm going. Is this going to wear out eventually? It seems so permanent, though. Is it here to stay? Timeline release was a bad idea right before the IPO. That's what I believe. I agree with you. I haven't seen one person that is in love with Timeline. And it's just, you can't navigate it, man. I just can't do it. Initially, I didn't agree with L.O.B. in that she believes that because she thinks it's so bad that...
It'll force Facebook to go back. And when you first said that, I thought, no, I want to commit. Now I'm starting to think maybe you're right. Maybe they will take a second look at timeline and go, this is just a stupid idea. It is, man. And things get moved around. It's weird. Donald Trump has officially endorsed Mitt Romney. It's my honor, real honor, and privilege to endorse Mitt Romney. I've gotten... By the way, Gingrich advisors had been spreading the word that Trump was going to be backing him right before he did this. That's how sure of it they were. Wow. And the 11th hour, he changed his mind. Mitt is tough. He's smart. He's sharp. He's not going to allow bad things to continue to happen to this country that we all love. So, Governor Romney, go out and get him. You can do it.
A lot of people go, so it's the star of The Apprentice. What do we care what he says? Well, the reason that we care is because say what you want about Donald Trump. The guy's a successful businessman. He knows business. He knows money. He knows economy. And he says Mitt's the way to go. Feast. I ain't got a dog in the fight. I don't like any of them. Let's see. This is M1 Harold from San Marcos. Hi, Harold. How's it going? Good. You were talking about Zuckerberg and his billions of dollars. Uh-huh. A lot of people don't grasp what a billion is. One million seconds is around 11 days. Wow. One billion seconds is 32 years. What? Holy cow. He just blew my mind. Are you serious? Yes, dead serious. Do the math. Wow. I can't. Yeah. Wow. Grab a calculator. That is awesome. Hey, thanks for the call. Yeah.
That just messed my brain up. Yeah. In a good way. Want to play buzzword? Call us now. 570-1949. You're going to pick me, Woods, or L-O-B. What's the prize, Jay? Who do you want to represent you in buzzword? My girl, L-O-B. There you go. Right out of the box. M1 Whitney from Encinitas. Who do you want? What? There you go. M1 PE teacher from San Diego. You got me, okay? All righty. Hang on the line. Sorry about that. How dare you? I may actually do well today. I'm feeling it.
No, you just jinxed yourself. Yeah. Nice work. Way to go. Buzzword is a very difficult game for me because it requires your brain to move very fast. My brain works on a seven-second delay. True. Much like our show. And so I'm going to give this a shot, but what's the word, Jay? Today's word. Yes. Jay, what is it? What is it, dude? What's the word? What's the word? Tell us the word. Sweet. Sweet. S-W-E-E-T. All right. All right. Sweet. The clues incorporate the word sweet in them. Oh, gosh. Here we go. I don't know any sweet phrases. That's true. Summertime specialty. Sweet tea. On the cob. Sweet corn. Sweet corn. Sweet corn. Oh, man. L-O-B. All right. Here we go. Neil Diamond's song about... Sweet Caroline! Oh, wow. I'm going to give that a three-way tie. Who's Neil Diamond, by the way? Here we go. Here we go. Line from Laugh-In, you bet your... Sweet ass! Sweet face! Sweet lips! Sweet bottom dollar! Sweet butt! Your bippy. Sweet bippy. Ah. Oh, it is. Oh, it is. Sweet bippy. You bet your sweet bippy. You bet your sweet bippy it is. All right. Yes. Sweet bippy. Why?
Why, you all don't remember Sweet Bippy? Why, laugh him. It's the most popular. Yes, laugh him. He's 54. Originally aired. Wasn't a talkie. Black and white before they had sound. Anyway. Anywho. I can't look at him. He's stabbing me with his eyes. Are you ready? Yes. Okay, then let's continue. Concise and succinct. Sweet to the boy. Sweet and short. Sweet and short. Sweet and short. Sweet and short. Come on! Come on! That's BS. I said the same thing. It's never been sweet and short. Never been sweet and short. Never ever been said until now. I like just sweet and short. I just like to keep it sweet and short. People say that. No, they don't. Never been said in the history of saying that. I'm going to start saying it. Here we go. A rose by any other name. It's just as sweet as a rose. It's just as sweet. It's just as sweet. It smells just as sweet.
Smells just as sweet. I'm going to give it to you. It would smell as sweet. Would smell as sweet. Would smell as sweet. I'm going to give it to you anyway. All right, here we go. Would smell as sweet. Would smell as sweet. I was drinking vodka this morning. Oh, gosh. Here we go. I wound up. Your lovely abode. Sweet home. Home sweet home. Home sweet home. Home sweet home. Home sweet home. He got it. Put the nightstick down. Yeah, you're scaring everybody. Gosh, he scares me with that. You're swinging. It also scares me that he's wearing form-fitting shorts. Too much revealed. Yeah. Too much revealed. They're not. Oh, wow. Here we go. Walter Payton's nickname. Oh, tie right there. My tie. Yeah, it was a tie. 100% tie. 100% tie. I did not chime in. No, that's why you're not in the tie. It's a two-way tie.
Here we go. I got a new word for you. Oh, gosh. Thank God. Sweet was terrible. Terrible. Let's see. What's the score? The score is Mike 2, Lauren 3, Woods 4. Boom, boom, boom. Let's see. This is M1PE teacher. I'm not doing that great, but I'm going to try real hard right now, okay? Okay, thank you. Hang on. I'm going to do well. I promise you. M1, Whitney, Woods, obviously, bringing it home for you. Hang on. Yeah. Hang on. Is it obvious? M1 Mix from Al Cajon. Lauren is on one today. You may win. You may win. I will, I will. Hang on. I'm doing good. The word is... What is it? Walter. What? Walter. Walter. Like Walter Payton? Walter Payton. Walter. Walter Cronkowski. Water. Water. Oh, water. W-A-T-E-R. Boy, you try to say something correct and everybody gets all over you. Got it. Here we go. Liquid filled... Waterbed. Water balloon. Waterbed. Oh, waterbed. Mikey. Oh, gosh. Darn it, Mike. Man. Squirt. L-O-B. Here we go. Sight of Napoleon's Waterloo. Darn it. Okay, I need some scores here. We've got about four questions remaining. Mike three, Lauren four, Woods five. Wow. We continue to be one, one, one. Man, I tell you, I think I'm going to just leave it flat for the moment. Let's do it. Fair. A sport where you get towed. Waterloo. Behind a boat. Water skiing. Woods.
Son of a gun. L.O.B. just throws out water. I did not have a water polo. Here we go. Darn it. This is hydroelectricity. What? Hold on. Water power. Thank you, Jesus. Yeah, there you go. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Holy cow. Hydroelectricity. Wow. I got hung up right there in the middle. That was phenomenal. Water power? Yeah, water power is correct. Okay, one more time with the score. Oh, my gosh. It's Mike 3, Lauren 5, Woods 6. Okay, here's a two-pointer. The Clintons. Watergate. Watergate, yes. Oh, gosh. It's not Watergate. Watershed. Watercrackers. Is that the whole thing? The Clintons real estate scandal. Watergate. No, it's not. That was Nixon. Backwater. Sweetwater.
Black water. Black water. Black water. Back water. Nope. Water back. White water. White water. I like how convinced you guys were. It was Watergate. I'm like, no, that was Nixon. There were tapes involved. All right. Here we go. Final question. White water. Two pointer. White water. This is going to be a three pointer. Three pointer. Same word. Same word. Water. Oh, gosh. Jesus. Water. Water. Water. Water. Water. Walk on water. I hate you! Yeah, Whitney! Oh, that one. I lost my voice. Gosh darn it. Whitney. Whitney, you made a wise choice. I know I did. Woods just raised his eyebrows when he heard your voice. Yeah. You sound foxy. Send us a picture.
Gosh, Jay, he just goes for it. He just goes for it. He just says stuff. Send me a bra in the mail. If you do send in that picture, you don't want to know what happens. Yeah, don't send any pictures to Jay. Because he says that every time a girl calls in. You don't want to know. I prefer you send it in the U.S. mail and not on email because then I could be caught. If you send it in the mail, I can always hide it. I like a hard copy. I've got a folder, a separate folder. Right. All the girls are calling. I keep it in a safe that I buried out in the woods. Right. All right, Whitney. What did she win again, Jay? She won a one-hour massage at the Therapeutic Massage and Body Works in Encinitas from Adriana Takayama. There you go. Booyah. Enjoy. Yeah. All right, hang in the line. We'll get you all hooked up with us. The Washington Post says. They're quoting Leon Panetta, who's our defense secretary. Leon Panetta says that there is a, quote, strong likelihood that Israel will strike Iran's nuclear installations this spring. Now, what I can tell you is that Iran, they say that if they are attacked by Israel, they will start to systematically bomb.
Oil refineries. So when you hear grown-up stuff like this, Israel, Iran, what does that have to do with me? Well, we drive to work. We all drive to work. And most of us use gasoline. Some of us don't. Some of us use electric power. You might have some kind of car that's electric. The three of us. So the three of you that are listening, you know, don't worry about it. You're all good. But that would be very, very bad. He says May, April, May or June appears to be the time that it could happen. And President Obama is really cautioning Israel. There are buddies, by the way, Israel and the U.S. We're good mates. And he said, please don't do that. Please don't do that. See, Iran is the wacky neighbor.
in your cul-de-sac. Okay. They're up late at night. They're always doing weird stuff. You don't know what they're up to. You see weird people coming and going. You've complained to the cops and the cops have gone out there a million times. And it's just a matter of time before that neighbor does something really stupid. But you have this other neighbor that lives on the block and they're kind of a tough guy. And they have been saying lately that they're going to kick that guy's ass because they're tired of him. Right. And the weirdo that lives in the block has said, well, if that guy even does anything to me, I just want you all to know I'm wrecking the street. Yeah, taking the whole block. I'm taking the whole, yeah, I'm going to wreck the streets. Oh, man. So, yeah, you know, something for us to monitor. So that's what we have to look forward to this spring. Me and my brother talk about this stuff every morning on my drive-in. This is our conversations.
We talk about grown-up stuff like that. You know how Jay messes up words? Yes. You guys remember that? Vaguely. I vaguely recall him messing up the words. Whatever you think you know about this man is a reveler. Right, that's the one. Thank you. It's an example. A flea flicker. It's another one. The Denver Broncos. Nope. That's one, too. 70s Tim Conway Don Knox flick. And then the grand opus. Hopefully she gets put in the general populace, whatever it's called. General populace. There, I got to know. Now, because we love that so much, we thought, what if we asked M1 Nation, does your significant other do the J thing? And if they do, what do they do it with? What do they say? What do they do it with? My wife is one of the smartest women that I've ever met. in my entire life, but she said vice versa when we first met. And I had to tell her, it isn't vice versa. And she was a little irritated at me, like, are you sure? No, I think it's vice versa. No, babe, it's not. It's vice versa. Yeah. Vice versa. Vice versa. Occasionally, you will hear people say that something is, they will say, well, irregardless of that. Oh, my God.
There is no such thing as irregardless. Well, supposedly. Oh, Lauren? Supposedly. Supposedly. Supposedly. You can end a relationship over supposedly. Oh, I'm out. 100%. I couldn't walk down the aisle with that problem. Come on. What about the girl that says that she took a picture of it? Oh, gosh. And she'll show you because she took a picture. And she can show you. She got a picture of it. What about the girl that says wolf sometimes instead of wolf? That is a true story as well. That would be me. That is a true story. You do? Mm-hmm. You say woof? Woof? Yeah, if I'm not thinking about it. So we want you to call and we want you to tell us what your significant other says that's like Jay. Because we love it. My dad. Oh, my gosh. I think my dad actually puts Jay to shame. Really? Oh, yeah. Same with my dad, actually. It's a bold statement, you guys. Dude, I'm telling you, man. My dad.
With the Statler Brothers. Statler Brothers is good. Statler Brothers and American Online. Ellen Degenerates. Ellen Degenerate. Ellen Degenerate. My dad used to say across. Across. And it would make me insane. Across. It's across the street. Wood's corrected my spelling yesterday. It made me crazy. I got you good. Yeah, because I wrote, I texted the word nosy and I spelled it N-O-S-E-Y. That means that you have a lot of nose. Right. A real nosy looking face. And I thought that's what it was. I thought it was spelled that way. And Wood said, no, it's N-O-S-Y. I wrote back and she's nosy. I felt this big. He'll get you. He's a cop. M1 Red from Lake Elsinore. Are you there? Yep, I'm here. What does your wife say? She says, and she's going to hate me if she hears this because she already says I make her feel dumb when I tell her in person. But no, I'm going on the radio. She says two things. Library. Library. Library. Library will get you. And another one, this one really throws me for a loop because when she says it, she's mad. So if I tell her, she goes over the top. Start laughing. When the house is a mess, she goes, oh, this place is a pig style.
Oh, my God. I got to go. I'm leaving. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Mike, I'm taking the rest of the day off. I'm leaving. Pig style. I have to go. I have to go. In addition to it, Woods, in addition to it, she's like yelling at him at the time. This place is a pig style. I would pee in my pants for laughing so hard. I would. I would be like. You would say. That's hilarious. What's a pig style? What's a pig style? Or it's a pig style. Oh, she's yelling at the kids, and she's like, this place is a pigsty, and I just want to tap her on the shoulder and be like, um, sweetie, it's a pigsty. Did you tell her it's a pigsty? It's a pigsty. I've told her once, and she, like I said, she went over the top, and she was like, I don't care about diction right now. Babe, it's actually not diction. It's not diction. It's grammar. Yeah, grammar. There you go. There's another one. Thank you. Thank you for the call. That's outstanding. M1 Dino from RB, are you there? Get up here. Hey, what's up? Not much. What's your wife say? Actually, she has a couple words. The first one, almond. Instead of almond. She'll say almond. Oh, my God. Yeah. How are you still married to her? That's ridiculous. This is Wood's pet peeve. Almond. Yeah, and then instead of saying hung, she'll say hanged. Wait, instead of saying what? Instead of saying hung, like she hung the... Hung, yeah.
She hanged it. I hanged it. I hanged it up in the closet. Exactly. Woods could not deal with that. And I'm not kidding. Woods and her, it doesn't matter how well they got on. It doesn't matter how great their chemistry was. If he heard her say that she hanged something, there is no way. There is just no way in the world. It's Woods' absolute pet peeve. You know what? I can understand that. I mean, because we actually laugh about it now. You know, before I correct her, it's like, no, it's not that. And she goes, yes, it is. I'm like, no. I'd rather my wife cheat on me than talk that way. I got one that I used to do and I don't do anymore. But I thought something was stalled. Yes, stalled. Stalled was a big player for you. Still do that every once in a while. Yeah, you'll still do it. Every once in a while, L.O.B. will remind me that I still do it. So if Lauren went to the store. And she took something that didn't belong to her. She stole it. No, she didn't. That sounds so right, though. She didn't. To me, that sounds so right. It sounds like bad grammar to say she stole it. It's like you're stole it. Something hasn't been stole. It's been stolen. Yes. Yeah. Trying to make you think about it. I know. It gets me when people say I've seen it. Oh, my God. It makes me insane. I've seen it. Did you say that, Jay? I did not.
I saw it. Jay didn't say that. He does say almond, though. He says almond. I used to say cliff, and I'd say giraffe. Giraffe. Just add in T's. I don't know why. Giraffe is great. I love T's. I do. That's why. M1 Marlene, are you there? Yes. Marlene from Carlsbad. What does your husband do? He says Shyamalan. M. Night Shyamalan? Yes, for Chameleon. Oh. Instead of chameleon, he says Shyamalan. Right. So there'll be a lizard or something, and he'll say, hey, babe, look, there's a Shyamalan. I'd pack his bag. A Shyamalan. Is it spelled that way? I guess so. Yeah, it is. Yeah, my brother says Stephen King because that's the way it looks on the books. Oh, my gosh. That would drive me nuts. Stephen King. Stephen King. Yes. Stephen King. This morning he said, too tsunami.
For Tsunami? Yeah, and I said, why did you say Tsunami? And he goes, Tsunami. Tsunami. My dad, the first date my parents went on, he walked by. They went to a restaurant, and there was a sign in the front that said what the specials were and stuff. He goes, what are whores divorce? Whores divorce. Sounds like a good time, though. And it was for real. He didn't know. He didn't know, and my dad messes up words. Worse than Jay all the time. And my mom always goes, okay, Terry, whores divorce. Oh, my gosh. Wow. My little brother thought. It's hors d'oeuvres. It's hors d'oeuvres. It's not hors d'oeuvres. You know, there's a city in Iowa. It's called Des Moines. Yeah. And my little brother, we were on a plane once. I'll never forget it. He opens. We're looking at the map, like, waiting for takeoff. And he goes, Des Moines. Des Moines. And I go, it's Des Moines. You Nimrod.
Desmonies. Desmonies. For years, Desmonies. How about misogynist? That's one of the greatest. Misogynist. Yeah. Well, just because I'm not a misogynist, I go, do you mean misogynist? It's the worst. It's very confident. I'm not going to tell you who did it because he's asked me to not mention his name. He's a good friend of mine. He's asked me to not mention his name, but he was. indignant and said, no, that's not what I mean. I mean misogynist. And I said, are you talking about a person that doesn't like women? Yes. That's a misogynist, not a misogynist. It's the greatest thing ever. Ouch. I would punch him in his throat. It's the worst when you're making a point and you say it wrong. And then you go back and you're so confident. The re-confidence is bad. Woods' way of addressing it is the greatest way ever. He says what's and then the word. It'll get you. What's almond? It's so deflating. It's so deflating. It is witty. 570-1949. Phone lines are blown up with them, and they make me laugh, so call. Let's do it. This is The Mikey Show, FM 94.9.

Woodsy, what is happening in the sporting world?
Well, there's a lot of news coming out of Indianapolis, much of it for the Super Bowl, some of it for Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning has been cleared by the gentleman that did his neck surgery, and that gentleman's name is Robert Watkins. He said that he believes the quarterback's neck is stable enough to allow him to play immediately. Great, great news, right? Peyton Manning coming back. Sure. Not so fast. Jim Irsay, who is the owner of the Colts, there is a rift and a feud. brewing between these two. And Irsay came out yesterday and said, look, Peyton has not passed our physical, nor has he been cleared to play for the Indianapolis Colts. Oh, wow. Team statement coming on Friday. Not very nice. No, man. It's just not working well for them. Also, I wanted to let you know that former Ohio State head football coach Jim Trestle has a new job. Really? Yeah. It's awesome, too. He's going to work at the University of Akron. In an administrative role, here he is talking about the Akron experience. The Akron experience really resonates with me in that it was so much larger than playing the game of football. Totally. That Akron experience is something that I look forward to really sinking my teeth into. Yeah, yeah, totally. And, you know, you're not going to miss coaching in front of 100,000 people in Columbus every Saturday. I promise you that, Jimbo. Wow. Sounds like somebody.
Takes that personal. No, it's kind of a tool. Not a Trussell guy, huh? No. Not a big Ohio State fan? No. Even worse now. M1 Captain Moe from Escondido. Are you there? What's going on, Captain? Mikey Show. Hi. Hey, I wanted to talk about my father-in-law. I love the guy like he's my own father, but he drives me crazy when he says, insurmountable. Oh, wow, wow, wow, wow. Oh, my God. Insurmountable. The task is just insurmountable. Hey, get it. You can't get over the mountain. Yeah. You know, you still say one too. Which? Purposefully. Purposefully. Purposefully. No, you can say it. Purposefully, not purposefully. So somebody doesn't do something purposefully? Purposefully. They purposely do it. Wait, maybe he's right. I'm going to look. I'm going to look. Purposefully. You do say that. I think I say that. I definitely say it. Purposefully. Purposefully. Woods is looking it up. By the way, Woods was an English major in college, so this stuff drives him bananas. Drives him crazy. I hope I'm not making an ass of myself there. You might not be. I hope not. There is a word. Purposefully is a word. Having a purpose. Intentional. Oh, but it's like...
To do it on purpose is purposely. Purposefully means like you're coming in with like, I've got a purpose. He walked in purposefully. Like that means like. Like he had a purpose. He went there and. He made a point. He's right. I say it wrong. Yeah, it is a word. I use it in the wrong context. Thank you for the call. M1, Melissa from San Diego. Are you there? I'm here. Good morning, guys. Good morning. What does your mom do? Well, my mom pronounces salmon. Oh, gosh. And in addition to that, she warshes the dishes. Oh, yeah. Now, we were talking about warsh off the air during the commercial break, and I wonder if warsh is a regional deal. I think so. My parents say it. My parents said it. Not my parents, but my grandparents did. Thank you. Absolutely. I love it. Thank you. M1 Luciano from La Jolla. Are you there, Luciano? How are you doing today? Good. Hey, so I always say the word, if it's something very old or very, you know, antiquated, I always call it ancient. Ancient. My wife always tells me how to pronounce it wrong, so just to have a little phone, I tell her it's ancient. Ancient. Ancient. You say ang-chant? Ancient. I don't know how to pronounce it. Maybe it would help me out there, but I would say ancient. It's ancient. It's old. No, there's no G. It's just ancient. Ancient. Ancient. Ancient. It's very much like oyster.
Don't mess. Oyster. Oyster. Hold on. It's a little bit off. Oyster. Oyster. There you go. That's M1 cave dweller from Wisconsin. Bastard. What's up? What does your wife do? She says caramel instead of caramel. I say caramel. It's the same thing. There is an A. There's an A. There's an A. Caramel, but caramel. Caramel. Caramel. The language in the word has given you an extra letter. Thank you. Caramel. Thank you very much. It's caramel. What about Caribbean versus Caribbean? What is the right way to say it? How did Billy Ocean say it? He said Caribbean. I say it like Billy Ocean. That's always a good rule. If you ever have a question, kind of go to Billy Ocean no matter what. What would Billy Ocean say? He's my measuring stick. WWBOS. There is a new virus out there on computers that will affect you even if you do not open the attachment. Oh, gosh. Who's that guy? I know. Greetings. He needs to be chokeslammed. The guy that invented it. So all it has to do is be emailed to you? Yes. Perfect. Oh, man. It need only be emailed to you. Now, listen to this. This thing is called. It's got a stupid name.
Weird. Butthole. Is that what it's called? Mm-mm. What I can tell you is that this malicious email only affects PCs. Yay. Good to go. If you have a Mac, you don't have to worry about it. But if you do have, oh, it's called the drive-by virus. Oh, you jerk. Oh, man. It's called the drive-by virus. It's a new class. of cyber attacks. It's threatening PCs, comes through emails, and you do not have to open an attachment to get it. Perfect. What you need to do is you need to keep your eye out for... Oh, by the way, you're not going to be warned if you have any kind of virus software. It's getting through the virus software. Wow. Let me see. If you get any kind of an email...
that says particularly dangerous in the subject line. That's it. So delete it. I thought it said something about a bank security update. Well, maybe you did, dink it. Dink it? Dink it? Drive-by virus. Drive-by virus. Perfect. We'll get you. It's driving right by. Bringing you down. Why do they do that? Because they don't have anything to do. Is that right? Banking security update. You're right. Lonely in the basement. Subject line, LLB, banking security update. PC users, if it says banking security update. They'll get you because you think, oh, I've got to update my password or something. I've done that before, and it's got somebody, some hacker got all my stuff, which is sad ass. That sucks. Let's do this. Come on. Jay wears the bots and he sings along to his iPod and favorites. He can't hear himself. The iPod.
Sing along, ladies and gentlemen. What we do is put headphones on Jay. We turn up those headphones real loud. We play an iPod. We give him the words to the song. And he's got to sing along to these songs. What's been great? M1s have been giving us some really amazing suggestions. And they are hysterical. And so the beauty of it is just hearing him. He can't hear himself. So hearing him sing these songs is great. Are you ready, Jay? I will. Are you feeling? I'm not so much ready as I am. Can we just put this off for a little bit? No. You're ready. You're ready. Here we go. Hold on. Not too loud, Woods. Woods, don't crank it too loud. I won't. I won't. All right.
This is kind of a cold start. All right, here we go. Are you ready? Me, me, me, me, me. Oh, wow, this is rough. Here we go. Yeah, yep. It's identical. He's got the words. He's got the words in front of him. They're right in front of him. They're in his hand. Oh, wow. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Hmm. Here we go. Nope. Here we go. Oh, yeah. Well done. Well done. This is not fair. Oh, man. He had the words in front of him and everything. I understand. That was Black Dog. Very well done. I wasn't sure if people could tell. He's got the words in front of him. I thought it was dead on. All right, you're going to have a quick drum roll, and then it goes. You ready? You ready? Okay, here we go.
This will get you. Oh, God. That's great. It starts with an earthquake. Virgin snakes and airplanes. Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of the hurricane. Listen to yourself. Turn world. Don't need speed it up. Don't need speed it up. Why are we in a fire? Why are you blowing my ears out? I'm not. Why are you so loud? I'm not. I'm not. I'm lost now. Oh, that's hot. I don't know where I am. Oh, here we go. Screaming. Screaming. You're screaming. Screaming. Where the hell am I? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It's the end of the world as I know it. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. He's screaming. He can't hear himself. Oh, that's fantastic. That's fantastic. Oh, my gosh. It went from normal to like 110, like in a blink. It's always that loud, pal. You got another one? Oh, yeah. That's really loud. Yeah, that's loud. And it went from like normal to like 100. Ready? Here we go. I'm a little scared now. Ready? My ears are bleeding.
Chairman Doris Day, Red China, Johnny Ray, South Pacific, Walter Mitchell, Joe McGoggio, Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, Studebaker, Television, North Korea, South Korea, Marilyn Monroe. Joe McGoggio. Thank you, Jesus. Rosenberg, H, Bob, Sugar Ray. King and I, the catcher in the right. Eisenhower vaccine. English got a new queen. Maradona, Liberace, Santa. We didn't start the fire. It was always burning since the world was turning. We didn't start the fire. No, we didn't light it, but we tried to fight it. Oh, my. Well done. That's the best one ever. Good stuff in there. There's so much in there. Oh, Jason. I think we should take turns. Joe DiMaggio. No. Joe DiMaggio. It was way worse. It was way worse. DiMaggio. It was fantastic. DiMaggio. Gosh darn, I love that game. Oh, man. I love it. 570-1949. If you have ever tried.
To start some kind of a business or get rich quick thing that failed miserably. One of my favorites is L.O.B.'s. One of my favorites is L.O.B.'s. You mean my children's theater entertainment group? Yes. Now, before you tell us, I want people to call us, 5701-949. What we're looking for here is ideas that you just knew. You came up. With the next big thing. Yeah. This was going to be a incredible success. And then it just, for whatever reasons, went something like this. Ella B, what was your business? Well, it was a children's entertainment company. It's a traveling theater group. Yes. And it consisted of? Me, my sister, and a plastic skull. Okay. And the plastic skull, what was that all about? His name was Captain Seatails. Got it. Okay. And he was a tertiary character. Yeah. He just didn't have a budget for a third person. Got it. And so, what would you do? We dressed as mermaids. Uh-huh. Named Sunny and Sky. Now, you guys were adults when you did this. Yeah, it was right before I got on the Mikey show. Yeah. A few years ago. Just so you know, this wasn't the imagination of two children. This was L.O.B. and her sister as grown adult women. Yeah.
Came up with this idea. And we were going to travel to schools and do a little play, an adaptation of fairy tales, but they were going to be related to the ocean. Got it. And we did one. Well, my sister got pregnant was the moral of the story. We thought it would be inappropriate for a pregnant mermaid. Yes, because people would wonder, like, who knocked up the mermaid. Yeah, but we had a ton of technical difficulties and awkward scenes. And I was the voice of all the characters. Lauren, what was the idea? Were these mermaids supposed to teach, like... Moral lessons? Yeah, there was supposed to be morals. Like, the one was called, instead of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, it was Sunny Strands and the Three Sharks. So, the mermaid, Sunny, she wandered, she swam into this lair of sharks, and she started trying out all their stuff, and she was, like, trashing the ocean and doing all the stuff. S-O-B. Yeah, and when she came back, the sharks were like, who's been sleeping in my cow bed?
That was Papa Shark. Did you ever get a school to hire you? Oh, yeah. You did? We did. We did. Various schools? Well, we didn't get paid. Per se. Yeah, we didn't get paid. It's pro bono work. No, but we did a couple of performances. The goal was to get paid eventually. We did perform at a farmer's market. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They didn't have a budget. Okay, yeah. But we, you know. You want to get your name out there. Yeah, get our name out there. Wow. Yeah. 570-1949. Did you ever have some kind of a thing that you thought was just going to light the world on fire, but for whatever reason, the public wasn't, they weren't biting. I've never told anyone about mine. What is it, Woods? My best friend in the world, one of them, you guys have met him. His name is John Fenwick. He lives in Wichita, Kansas. Came to visit last year. He wrote a screenplay, and it was called Recycled. And it was a milk carton. And the name of the milk carton was Calderius. D-A-I-R-Y. A carton? Milk carton had a name? Yeah. It was supposed to be an animated film. Okay. And it was called Recycled. And it was going to be educational. Yet the script was funny. Like there was some funny stuff because he was high on marijuana when he wrote it. But he sent me the script.
I was seriously considering moving to California to try to get it out there. In fact, I had a business meeting with my father to ask him for money to make said movie recycled. About an animated milk carton. Yes. I'm so wasted. Yeah. His buddy was a chocolate milk carton, and I cannot for the life of me remember his name, but I will find out for you. Wow. I remember Jamie and I weren't dating at the time, and I was like, look, I got this script. I'm going to freaking Hollywood. We're making this movie. I want to crawl in a hole. I'm red. I can feel myself sweating. I was dead serious. I read it. I go, that's genius. That script's genius. We're going to take this thing to the top. We're going to go to the top. We're going to get paid for this. We had conference calls with animators. We had conference calls with investors. What was the plot? Teaching kids to recycle. That was going to be a movie? Yes. A movie about teaching kids to recycle? Why are you making fun of me? Well, because that's a public service announcement more than it would be. I'm putting myself out there. I'm not making fun of you. I'm mortified. That's it, man. Game over, man. Game over. Now, he, I think, is still trying to shop said script.
He should realize that that's a better public service announcement than it is entertainment. It was, there's some funny characters in it. Right. Yeah. Like, you know, the school janitor is a funny character. It actually could have been. People would pay for that. It could have been pretty. No, they wouldn't. It was funny. No. I've seen crazier stuff. School system. Yeah, there's weird kid stuff out there. I mean, okay, 10 years ago, if I came, or 20 years ago, if I said, I got an idea. It's about a sponge, and he lives at the bottom of the ocean, you would have been like. You're high on peyote. That's not a movie. That's a TV show. They made a movie out of it. The Bill of Rights guy. The what? The Bill of Rights. I'm just a bill. Yes, I'm only a bill. Again, that was a three-minute deal on Saturday morning cartoons. This was a movie idea. Oh, no, and it was a full script, and I mean a full script. How about this one? We got M1 Vixen from San Diego. Are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What's up? What was yours? So when I was younger, me and my girlfriend started this. Spice Girls cover band where we tried to do Spice Girls song in like an alternative kind of way, like their monish. And it was, looking back, the dumbest thing. Holy cow. One of the dumbest things I've done. Did you want to have people pay to have you perform? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. We were like all into it. We had our costumes. We had our names. We had everything. Who were you? What? What was your name? Mine was Vixen.
Holy cow. Wow. The only thing better than the Spice Girls is the Nirvana alternative Spice Girls. We're going to be talking to Peter Van Zandt when we come back. 48 hours of mystery this weekend is going to be fantastic. Tell us about it next. Is the Mikey Show on FM 94.9. I would like to thank Nikki from A Bitter Burlesque. Yeah. Because without her, there's no way that this would happen. Yeah, she has been instrumental. And she's really like, she's teaching you girls. She's a choreographer. She's gotten us a studio space. She's going to give us the wardrobe. Isn't that choreographer? What did I say? Choreographer. Oh, I meant she was going to choreograph it. She is the choreographer. There you go. There you go. And she also. Goes back to our previous conversation. Yes.
She's going to teach me how to dance, which is a tough thing to do. I would like to thank Peaches from Bitter Burlesque because she just does a great job. You like Peaches? No, I'm just saying that, you know, we're thanking everybody from Bitter Burlesque. We might as well thank Peaches. We were thanking everybody. We were thanking Nikki, the owner and the choreographer. But you singled somebody out that I guess you, for whatever reason... No, she just did a really good job. Took a fancy to her. No, that's not true. Yes, Jay was talking about her a lot. What? From 48-Hour Mystery this weekend. Mid-January, we started asking each other around the family, have you heard from Don? And all of us said no. We sent an email to him. I said, Don, hey, what's up, buddy? People are looking for you. Where are you? But, you know, Don didn't write back. It was as if he had sailed into a black hole. I remember just thinking, I don't think this looks very good.
Time was of the essence. We knew there was one person who could make things happen, and that was Don Winter. I can't walk away from something like this. If I can get involved and help, I'm done. There's a lot of moving pieces in this thing. Different physical locations, people using aliases. There's all kinds of opportunities for bad things to happen. Oh, my God. I gave him this hat. This isn't good. 48-hour mystery this weekend. It's going to be this story of a guy that was really into sailing and something real bad happened. And on the line with us right now is correspondent Peter Van Zandt. Are you there, Peter? Hey, good morning, Mike. I'm here. Good morning. So this is going to air tomorrow night, right? Yeah, tomorrow night at 10. And this is a real adventure as well as a great murder mystery.
You know, hanging out in Panama and going out to these islands that I've never heard of. Most of your listeners, I'm sure, have never heard of called the San Blas Islands, which are remarkably beautiful with their own native Kuna Indians who roam the Syria. And that's where Don North went missing. And it creates an incredible backdrop. So this guy, Don North, is a guy that loves to sail. And, you know, he kind of gets a kind of. forms a friendship with a tight-knit, what they call cruiser community? Yeah, we all kind of giggled about that. They call it the cruiser community there. Here in New York City, that has a different meaning. Yes. Yes. Yes, if you've ever seen the movie Cruisin' with Al Pacino, then you know that that's a whole different story. They call themselves cruisers. It's people who've retired onto a sailboat. John North had cruised the Caribbean for about 22 years. You know, people always think they're really wealthy people, but you can live on a sailboat in that part of the world for like 10 grand a year. That's all it takes. They fish for their own food and things. And he was living his dream, sailing through paradise. How old? He was 58. 58 years old. And he was single? Well, yeah, he'd had a series of, well, he was cruising. He had a series of girlfriends.
He had a series of girlfriends, and one of the last ones, his last girlfriend we have in our hour. But, yeah, he was kind of a, you know, people loved him, but he loved this solitary life of cruising and nobody telling him what to do. And what they do is they, these boats go into harbor, and they have a little community there. It's like a floating subdivision, and they all actually stay in one place for like two months at a time. Right. And they just hang out, and then they move on to the next location. Now, we're talking to Peter Van Zandt from 48 Hours Mystery. This is one of the greatest shows on television. It's one of my favorite shows. It's real-life drama, real-life stories, and you can't write the stuff better than what actually happens in real life. So without giving anything away, this dude is down there. He's living off the Sandblast Islands. And what happens? Back in January 2011, he seems to fall off the face of the earth. He was always emailing relatives and friends. Nobody has heard from Don North. A nephew of his named Ezra, who lives in Houston, decides to call down there. And he learns that there's a man named Don Winner who's like the Columbo of Panama. He's an American who lives there, runs a website. And he, in his spare time, he's a former intelligence officer in the military. He tries to solve crimes.
and missing persons cases. So Ezra goes down, hooks up with Don Winter, and these two, and then we come down. They jump into this case. They end up on national Panamanian TV. We have to dive on a wreck. We end up in the Darien jungle. We're in the San Blas Islands, and we're on the heels of a man that they believe may know what happened to Don North. And it's a fantastic adventure, and at the very end of it, There is a moment of discovery that I can't give away, but it's really a powerful, powerful moment. And then something meteorologically happens after this discovery on tape in front of the cameras that I will tell you right now is the strangest thing that's ever happened to me. That is phenomenal. Phenomenal. I can't wait. It's never happened to me. We were all... knocked off our feet. I'm thinking about it right now. I got goosebumps and you'll see it. It occurs on camera. It's really bizarre. 48 hours mystery. This episode is going to be called Dark Side of Paradise and it airs tomorrow night at 10 o'clock. This TV show is badass. I mean, it will suck you in and you don't, it's one of those shows that you just, you're going, when they go to break. Yeah.
I'm always like, come on, come on, get back, get back. I know it works. We spend so much time on these, and when they really work, they really work, and this one really works. What a great job you have, man, to be able to go on these assignments and to study these things and get to be a part of stuff like this. It's got to be a fun job. It's the best job in the world, and I get to travel all over the world with 48 hours. It's the best, and I get to meet fascinating people in these cases. We really get invested in it. There's nothing more important than human life, and you just connect with these family members, and it's powerful. Peter Van Zandt is a correspondent for 48 Hours Mystery, and how long does it take to do one episode? I mean, how long will you spend going to a prison or going to a whatever? And, you know, how long does it take? Typically, from start to finish, the typical 48-hour show will take four and five months. Wow. I've had stories that, and I'm working on one right now, that has taken more than two years off and on to do. I've got one up in Washington State that's just going to be amazing that we may even write a book about.
journey but typical one is five to six months because we we don't just parachute in and interview people in a hotel room and then call it a day we you know we really get into the story and follow it as much as we can and uh and be along on the investigation and that's that's what makes our show special yeah and you know uh like i said they will go uh one of the things that 48 hours mystery does that i think is incredible is they'll be interviewing somebody, talking to them about a case, and you think they're interviewing them in a house or something. Gets to the end of the episode and you realize the whole time they've been talking to them, the person was in prison. And you don't even know it. Our greatest, for your listeners, our greatest mission if somebody is actually in prison is to try to get the prison officials to allow us to bring a shirt in for the guy. So he wears a, you know, like a golf shirt or something. We'll run to Home Depot and buy a panel and bring that in. Yeah. Looks like a library. Yeah, it looks like a library. The whole thing is to turn a jail cell, because we don't want to give that away. You see somebody in an orange jumpsuit, and obviously you know what's... You know what happens to them. Right. And let me tell you, when they do it, and you think the whole time... And they will position it in a way where you're like...
You're feeling sorry for the guy. You're like, oh, this poor guy is just getting railroaded. And then at the very end of it, it starts to very slowly play out where you're like, S.O.B., I think this dude may have had something to do with it. What you see in this hour, we had gotten a tip. And we end up in this little coastal town called Puerto Lindo. And we go out to a vessel that's anchored out there. And out pops a Spaniard named Luis. And he's right out of a Hollywood character act. He talks to me, you know, almost like a bad accent, you know, like this. And he's a guy, we know he's armed. We know that he has information about what has happened. It is a creepy, freaked out moment because we were circling this guy's boat and talking to him. And he's, you know, he's swearing at us and stuff. And he's obviously, you know, the drug use thing. It goes on down there. It's unbelievable. A lot of these people get caught up in crime or are victims, cocaine dealers and cocaine users. And this guy, it's all happening before, you know, your eyes in front of the camera because you're there as we were rolling as we come up. But that was quite a moment where, you know, Don Winter, our investigator, is saying, you know, and you hear it on tape.
Let's get out of here, because he thought the guy was going to go down and get a gun. That's so incredible, man. The show's great. That guy ends up being a piece of this. We dive on a sunken sailboat to get some clues, a sailboat that's involved in this, because it turns out there may be more than one missing person. In fact, there may be a serial killer. It's really fast. That's awesome. All right, hey, listen, Peter Van Zandt, thanks for taking the time. 48 Hours Mystery this weekend is Dark Side of Paradise, and I watch it every week, and this one is going to be real good. Thanks for coming on with us. Hey, you're welcome. Thanks for having me. All right, we'll see you. Never a bad one. There's never a bad one. They're always good, man. They're always good. And they somehow find a way to have you think in one way, and then it kind of goes the other. Woods' recap got me today. Woods' recap will get me a lot of times, but today's recap really, really got me. Yep. Woods is the funniest scene in any movie. That's the way I describe him. He's 36 years old, and he's kind of a mixture of Vince Vaughn and, what would you say, L.O.B.? Robert Downey Jr. Yep. He's all these characters. Fat Albert. Yeah. Fat Albert. Woods.
Banging his head against the microphone. So Woods was in his office and he was doing some work. And Woods has what he terms fat sores. And he's working on it. He's been exercising and got himself on a good diet. But what fat sores are, these little sores that he's got in his belly, they develop because you're fat and it hangs over your jeans. And so what he was doing was he unbuttoned his belt. And his pants. Because if he doesn't, then the pants will hurt. It hurts. Hurts his little sores. Yeah. So he had his pants unbuttoned. And so his lovely wife, Jamie, came home. And Woods was listening to music. And she came in. And he didn't hear her.
She walked back to the office. He spun his chair around. And there he sat with his pants and his belt unbuttoned in front of his laptop. And she looked at him and she said, quote, gross. Because she thought something else was happening. And he's screaming at her. It's not. It isn't what it looks like. It's not what it looks like. And it really wasn't. Oh, boy. It really wasn't what it looked like. Oh, boy. Fat swarms. He just unbuttoned his pants. That's all. I just wanted to be comfortable. He just wanted to be comfortable. Did you? I was told the old line. I was born on a Thursday, but I wasn't born yesterday. Yeah, well, listen. I generally know what time she's going to be home. I'm no dummy, okay? So I was doing work. I was...
Doing all this stuff. I was Facebooking. And it hurts. It irritates your fat. That belt, that top of that belt buckle and those jeans. Yeah. Irritates your fat. Yeah. So he just was being comfortable. Just want to be comfortable. And when she walked in the room, it looked like he was doing something different. Yeah. Than what he was doing. Yeah. Do you have a story? 570-1949. And what I'm talking about is a, it's not what it looks like. It's not what it looks like. I will wear, I got these, they're like sweatpants. And when I'm in the living room, sometimes I like to put my hand in my pants. Guys do that. Guys do that. Yeah, they do. You know, it's a guy move. All right. Every dad does it. Every guy does it. You're sitting in the chair and you like to put your hand in your pants. It's warm and it just is nice. And you put your hand there. And I will forget that I have the thing on.
uh, you know, the spring untied. Yeah. And, uh, I'll get up and I'll, when I stand up, my, they'll fall right to the ground and I'll go, Oh gosh. Yeah. Usually there's no, there's no one there. Now we know why everybody else in the house is so skinny. Why? Cause they've all lost their appetites. There you go. Gallagher. I, uh, I just got watermelon in my eye. I'm sorry. Just got hit with a watermelon. Oh man. Son of a bitch. We give Sinbad, uh, Three and a quarter stars. Oh, man. Does he hold on? Does he write those at home? I think so. And then when the time is appropriate, he just... He's got columns. It's like, here's fat jokes. Here's sex jokes. Here's L.O.B. has a big butt jokes. More fat jokes. My dad one time, we had squirrels running rampant in our little shed.
My parents live on, like, two acres in New Jersey, and they have a little storage shed, a wooden one. Well, I guess he was going to get something in there, and there was, like, squirrels running all around, and he was like, I'm going to get you, you son of a bitch! And he's, like, yelling, and he's like, I'm going to kick you out! Like, saying all this stuff. And my neighbor came over to see if everything was okay. Oh, I thought you were beating up your mom or something. I thought he was, like, beating... Beating your mom or one of your kids. He said, come here, you! Come here! Come here, let me get my hands on you. He was trying to get them with a shovel and trying to get them out of my... Because I think one of them jumped on him or something like that. I'm going to kill you. He's freaking out. How could you do this to me? He's not what it looks like. M1 Moneymaker from San Diego. Hey, Mikey. Hi. Moneymaker. What happened? Oh, so my buddy on his IM. You can put your little picture of who you are, your avatar, on IM Messenger. Yeah. He posted himself at a wedding. My wife had taken a picture of giving him a kiss. What the hell was that? You collecting ducks? That was my phone. I'm sorry. Oh, it's okay. He put a picture of my wife giving him a kiss as his IM picture. And so he emails me and says, hey, how do you like my IM picture? And I'm like, well, I got to get him back. I'm going to make a better avatar for my IM. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
I don't understand. How did he have a picture of himself kissing your wife? My wife was kissing him at his wedding. Oh. So he used it, like, out of context. His face being kissed by my wife. Yes, got it, got it, got it. Something Wood would do. Yeah, it's funny. Well, I got to get him back. Right. So I said, there's no better way than if I could get him, like, that same picture of him being kissed by a dude. Right, yes. So I go online and I start looking at pictures of... Like the gayest guys I could find. Right. And what were you, were you Googling like gayest guys I can find? Gay kissing? Well, yeah, I had to, but I was trying to keep it limited so I wouldn't get anything that would be very inappropriate. Right. However, when the wife walked in, there was a screen full of a bunch of naked dudes. Gay men. Yeah. Kissing. It's not what you think, babe. I'm doing a bit. I'm doing a bit. That's genius. Drop a picture in and get Mike back. You don't understand. That's genius. That's fantastic. And that's, that is what we're looking for. Thank you for the call. 570-1949. I was sitting here in front of the typewriter and it looked like something different. I wasn't really doing what you thought. Woods has some sad news about Josh Hamilton. Yeah, Josh Hamilton, who is the center fielder for the Texas Rangers, apparently has had another slip in his sobriety. This, I believe, will be his third slip since he's been back from...
the depths of crack cocaine addiction. He was doing heroin. He was drinking all the time, a lot of cocaine, and, you know, turned into an MVP of the league. And apparently the story is out of the Dallas Morning News is that he was at a bar in Dallas, and they called one of his teammates, Ian Kinsler, who's a really good ball player, second baseman, to come in and get him out, and he still wouldn't go. I mean, it's very, very sad. Anybody, if you like a feel-good story, Josh Hamilton was it. And, you know, idle hands in the offseason is the worst thing for a guy like that. Such a fan of that guy. Me too, man. Gosh darn, man. It just breaks my heart to hear, you know, because I have the same background and just makes me sad to hear that. Yeah, it's a very sad story. We're going to be taking some calls here of it's not what it looks like. Let's see. We have M1G man from Fallbrook. Are you there?
Yeah, I'm here. What's up, guys? Not too much. So what was your deal where it wasn't what it looked like? Well, it was actually not what it sounded like. So this was about 15 years ago. We were newlyweds, my wife and I, and we lived in this apartment complex. It was condo conversion, actually. So one night we were watching, Friday night, we were watching Sling Blade. Very cool, cool movie. Anyways, I had just got my surround sound going, and I accidentally left one of the windows open. So we're watching this, and all of a sudden I get the doorbell rings. So I look through the peephole. Sorry, guys, I'm a little nervous here. It's all right. I'm fine. I look through the peephole, and I see this head poking through, kind of peeping, just kind of looking. I'm like, what the heck is that? So I finally figured out it was the police. Oh, boy. So I opened the door, and the police says, yeah, we just called for domestic violence. I'm like, what are you guys talking about? Yeah, they called us. They said that they've been hearing some stuff. Oh, no. I'm like, sorry, guys. And then all of a sudden. What was the scene in Sling Blade? It's got to be the Dwight Yoakam. Dwight Yoakam's character. We ain't got no band. Right. He's throwing beer bottles.
Yes, I can't remember exactly the scene, but I remember that they were arguing and I just can't remember exactly the scene. But yeah, it was something like that. They were arguing. A lady was arguing also. Yeah, they thought it was you acting like an idiot. And that you had a really weird voice. No, nothing's going on. I'm like, we're watching a movie. Did they believe it? They didn't. They looked at me and they're like, well, we need to come in and check it out. Oh, my God. So I'm like. I'm like, okay, guys, come on in. And as soon as they turn the corner, they see my wife sitting down, her brother, his girlfriend. We're watching a movie. And the cop instantly realized who my wife was because she worked at the hospital back then. And so they saw the police often. They're like, oh, hey, what's going on? You know, after they figured out nothing was happening. Wow. Thank you, G-Man. That's crazy. M1 Mariachi Pants from Escondido's on the line. What was the word of the day, pal? Typewriter, sir. That is correct. You got SeaWorld tickets. Hang on the line. M1 Riley from Encinitas. What was yours? Guys, you're not going to believe this. I was 17 or 18 years old and living with my mom. And I had a really bad splinter from the picnic table that was outside.
And I didn't know what to do with it and freaking out. So the neighbor boy came over and he was about 25. Yeah. So we were in the room and he was getting tweezers to try and help me get it out. And my mom came home from work. As she's coming by the door, she hears him saying, you know, he goes, Okay, I'm going to pull it out on the count of three. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. And I'm screaming. I'm like, no, no, no, please. I don't want you to pull it out. Oh, my gosh. I was like, yeah. I changed my mind. I changed my mind. Leave it in. Just leave it. Just leave it. It's fine. That's what I said. I said, just leave it in. It hurts. It feels better this way. Stop. Stop. He's like, you don't understand. I have to pull it out.
I've got it. I have to. That's like a scene from a movie. That's great. He said he was going to pull it out on the count of three, so he ended up pulling it out on the count of two. And I yelled at him. I said, you pulled it out too soon. And I said, you lied. And then my mother busts open the door and sees him holding a pair of tweezers, and we're just sitting in two chairs. Right. Was she ready to scream and yell at him? Yeah, she took the biggest breath she's ever heard, or I've ever heard in my life. And she knew because he was 25. She recognized his voice and knew it was a neighbor voice. Right. And she was like, I am about to walk in on my daughter getting statutoried. Yeah. Right here in my home. And instead, dude's helping you out, taking a splinter out with a pair of tweezers. That's so good. That's fantastic. It's weird because that's what Jay calls his wiener. That is true. That is a true story. That's a true story, too. Battleship.
Well, if the battleship was like the kind on the actual game Battleship. Yeah, the actual little battleship. Little tiny plastic battleship. That one's a little too thick. It's the same color though, right? It is the same color. It's gray. Imagine if a battleship were like a, what's a wolf? Imagine if a battleship was like a pipe cleaner. Like a tree trunk. You know? Like a bonsai tree trunk. Like a bonsai tree trunk. Maybe one of those miniature ones that you have to like look at it with a magnifying glass to see it. Well, twig. They call me tripod. Twig. They do not call you tripod, in fact. That's not a true statement. Yeah, they call you micropod. Yeah. How do you think about yourself? A good one. Yet another watermelon seed here. Yes. Ow. Ow. I got a watermelon seed right in my eye, Gallagher. Mike, I know you are, but what am I? Your mother. Yeah, your mom. Yeah, your mom. Maybe your mom does, Mike. Your mom likes to battle ship. And by the way, Mike, you're fat. Yes, Mike, you are fat. Sorry to drive you into that, Jay. Yeah, I was just sitting out here being quiet. I know it. I saw the window of opportunity. When that window opens, we're going to take it. You got to take it every time. You'll take it. By the way, Jay, why don't you tell everybody about what you told us that you were Googling the other day. Oh, it's not weird. Speaking of creep. Yeah, speaking of disgusting perverts. I was watching, I think it's the 1996 version of Lost in Space. Yes. And there's a girl on there, a little girl.
Called named Penny. Yes. And I was like, I was watching the show with Jasper and I was thinking, boy, it's been a while. She's probably all grows up. I got to go. All grows up. Wait a minute. Wait, wait, wait. Now you were watching the 96, 1996 version. Right, right. But it got you to thinking about the 1960s. No, no, no, no, no, no. I was watching this version, the newer version. Oh, the newer version. Yeah, the newer version. And there's a little girl on there that has this crazy voice. She's like five in that. No, she's not. She's probably really like 19 or something in it. But she looks like she's playing a 17-year-old, 16-year-old. So you thought to yourself, you know, this film was made back in the mid-90s. Exactly. Now she's 29. So you thought, I know what I'll do. I want to see what she looks like. I'll Google her. I want to see what she looks like. There is something very innately creepy in that. Is there? Isn't there? Looking at a child and going, I bet she grew up to be a peach. I bet she blossomed. Is that who she grew up to look like? Oh, I bet she blossomed so hard. 29 years old. I bet when she bloomed. I see that potential. Oh, I saw the potential. It's like looking at a tulip bulb. It was funny, though. When I did Google her, it came up with all these girls that have grown up, like in the public eye. Drew Barrymore.
Yeah, I mean, this girl, you should look at her. She's 29 now, and oh, my gosh. Isolate that. Wow. Isolate that. She's all grown up. But, I mean, there's a lot. What was the little girl from Who's the Boss? Samantha Maselli. Alyssa Milano. Actually, Samantha. Samantha Maselli. Yes. Yeah, there's so many. So she was, like, 96. Yeah. That's... How many? 16 years ago? I don't know. I'm terrible at that. She's 29 now. She was 13. She was 13. That's right up his alley. He's just trying to say she was 18 or 19. I don't know. Hey, listen. Truth being known, she had to be 24, 25. No, she was 13. She was 13. But now, look, she's all woman, my friend. I look at her. I can look at a 13-year-old and see a vixen inside. Oh, my gosh. Hang on a second. Lock up your dog. Look who he's talking with. Hang on. My defense, maybe she's 15, but she had the body of a 16-year-old. Absolutely. Blossomed. Hey, I wasn't interested in pictures of her then. I was interested in pictures of her now. And now she's a young lady. Saw the potential. Saw the potential. You can always see the potential. Mike, I always say, if it's in the double digits, the age. Yeah, if it's just 10. Well, yeah, she can cut her own steak.
She's fine by me. That's right. She'll pass. Did all of her big girl teeth come in? I hope not. Winner. Yes, winner. Winner. That's a winner. That'll get you. That's a winner right there. That is a winner. Jay Bird is not the only one that does the weird Googling. I don't. I'm not in this. Please. No, it wasn't actually you. You don't need to Google. You just have yours bookmarked. So there's no need for the search. There's no Googling involved. You have your favorite. I know what they are. I know what they are. She's got to clear your history. Lauren, what were you Googling the other day? Well, which part? Okay, well, it started this way. I was looking at my hand. I have a crease, what they call a simian crease. How do you know that they call it that? How are you aware of it? I don't know. I remember a long time ago and like. science or something. Not many people have, like, these, or maybe it was a palm reader that told me I had no lifeline or something. I don't know. But she said, like, they're not supposed to go straight across like that. They're supposed to be some sort of, like, split. Oh, and hers does go straight across. So, if you bend your hand. Yeah. Yeah. If you bend your hand just a bit, you, you know, and what I mean is put your hand out flat. Yes. And then bend the fingers in towards yourself. Yes, look at your palm. And look at your palm. There should be, like,
Mine, the line kind of does like a... One should go up. It looks like a smile. There should be a split. Like a smile. And the palm readers will tell you one of them's a lifeline, one of them's a love line or something, and mine doesn't split. It goes straight across. Yeah, it just goes straight. Now... Single. There is absolutely... That's what that means. I'll live forever and never get married. Apparently is what that means. Now listen to this. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Okay, but L-O-B... Yes. needed to find out if there was something wrong with it. No, I didn't know it was called a simian crease. I looked up what, you know, I got to the bottom of it. So a couple pages later, then I get to simian crease, which is actually sort of like a derogatory. It means like, that's what apes have. Monkey crease. So you have a monkey crease. Yes, which will often indicate some sort of like, you know, birth defect or like some degenerative condition or something. So now you've convinced yourself that you have some degenerative... thing. Because of the crease in her hand. Mind you. Then I started looking at the different birth defects and some of them were caused they thought maybe by Agent Orange. And my dad was in Vietnam. So I was Googling Agent Orange to see if possibly that's why I had my simian crease and possibly if that's...
Why my dad is the lady. I love her, man. I love her, man. You have to. How can you not? Her daffiness is the greatest. Yes, I was up to like 10 o'clock looking up for Agent Orange facts. Agent Orange facts. And it started because she thought something was wrong with her. She's like, look at my hand. I'm sitting around. Look how messed up I am. Look at that guy. Yeah, look at that guy. Simming grease, Agent Orange. Turns out I'm probably okay. She is a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed woman. It's not like she has lobster hands. You know what I mean? Why the hell do I have these lobster hands? She's convinced herself she's some sort of... primeval creep, you know, that just crawled out of the ooze. If you cut her open, she glows because of the Agent Orange. I know. I'm still not convinced that I'm not carrying some sort of Agent Orange. Well, hopefully it's not sexually transmitted because then Matt would have it. What's transit? What is sexually transit? What is transit? Is that when you have it on the bus? Yes.
Touche, MF. Touche. Gosh darn it. So Jay is trying to figure out what little girls look like when they're grown up. Yeah. And L.O.B. is trying to find out if she's part ape. And I thought I was just the weirdo creep for just looking at regular old porn. I'm just the regular old stuff. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my gosh. I watched a movie the other day. I forget what it was called now. But I started looking up stuff with the Holocaust. And Matt went to use the laptop the next day. He opens it up, and it's a Wikipedia page of Nazi Germany. He's like, what are you doing? What are you? What's wrong with you? I was just trying to find stuff and figure things out. She's very inquisitive. She's so inquisitive. Both two inquisitive. You two together? Holy cow. Very inquisitive. This will be great for you to know as you go into the office today, it'll be enough to keep you dangerous. Knowing this fact. You can tell people. Did you know?
Right after the Super Bowl, a lot of people get bladder infections. You know why? Panky panky. No, you creep. Because they don't go wee-wee. They want to watch the Super Bowl ads. And all the commercials. They want to watch the Super Bowl TV commercials and they don't go to the bathroom. Maybe you get a DVR. You got a bunch of people over, though, man. You can't just be like. Do it later. What do you mean? You can. Tape it. Watch them later. Plus, they're drinking alcohol. Yeah. Which is a diuretic, but it's not like cleaning out your you-know-what. By the way, Woods has asked me no less than half a dozen times about the menu. Yeah. At our Super Bowl party. Well, he's making his famous carrots. Yeah, he's making his famous carrots. I may not know. Homemade ranch. I don't know what I'm making. And his famous ranch. I don't know what I'm making. He puts the packet. Yes. In the buttermilk. We haven't had it. It's a southern thing. You guys wouldn't know anything about it. It was off the air. It's in Hidden Valley, California. Maybe one of them. That's going to be one of my favorite stories of yours. It is. It was off the air. He goes, hey, Mike, you ever have like the real ranch? And I go, no. What do you mean? And he goes, I grew up in Texas. I know. I know.
And I'm thinking to myself, because he knows I'm a foodie, and I'm thinking to myself. We're just, bent ears, just whatever. Everyone's waiting. Yeah, because we're eating this lame. Yeah, you guys are eating lame ranch. We're eating lame ranch. How do you make your own ranch? I'm like, no, no, no, no. What's it like? What is it? And he goes, you know, like, you take the packet. Take the packet of, are you talking about Hidden Valley Ranch? Yes, with buttermilk. Yeah, it says with buttermilk right on there. No, no, you add buttermilk to it. Ah, that's how, that's the key. Hold on, I'm writing this down. You should. Wait a minute, this is too many steps. Step one. I'm like, oh my gosh, how authentic. Oh, that's how they do it. Only in Texas, huh? Is that your grandma's secret recipe? No, it's your grandma's secret recipe. Good one, Sinbad. It's a very, it's been passed down probably through the Woods family. Yes, and then we had a caller call in and say, you know that.
Hidden Valley Ranch is actually in California. So that brought L.O.B. to saying, hey, Woods, maybe you can also bring your famous carrots. Make your famous carrots. I'm not going. How dare you? I'm not going. I don't want to go. How dare you? It's fantastic. You're not providing any sort of food or anything? Oh, I know. I'm not going. So he says that this offended him to the nth degree. He goes, I'm thinking about making some meatballs. Yeah, meatballs. It's identical woods, by the way, but yeah, meatballs. And I go, oh, cool. I go, are you going to make some? And he looked at me like I had just suggested that he beats his animals or something. Right. Now, he looked at me with this look at this, and he goes, no, I'm not going to make meatballs, dude. I'm going to make meatballs for 200 people. You wanted me to hand make. Meatballs. Who do you think you are? Emeril Lagasse? Like, oh, God forbid I eat a frozen meatball. It was like I asked you to build a Ford. You might as well have. Like, I asked you to build an F-150 with your hands. You know what's easy? Taking a bag of frozen meatballs from Costco, pouring it in a crock pot with some barbecue sauce, and bringing that over. Do it. That's what I'm doing. And you can't have any. Ah. Okay, how about now?
Promise? I promise you can't have any. What are you guys going to have? What are you providing? I don't know. Some sort of weird cheese or pate or something? I don't know, but I said to Woods, I go, well, what? Because he thought it was like... Who did I think I was? And it was so fancy that I would even think that you would actually make something. Why would I make homemade meatballs with my hand? Little tiny Swedish meatballs with my hand. And I said to him, I go, dude, I go, Dorian, you know how Dorian used to make jalapeno poppers? I go, it was a big hit. He's like, hey, dude, I don't have time to be freaking rolling meatballs. Yeah, I don't have time to roll meatballs. You just said you had all too much time this morning. I'm not making meatballs. I don't want to. How's that for an excuse? But you can taste the labor of love in people's food. If I told him that they were homemade meatballs, he'd believe it. No, I wouldn't. Yes, you would. I guarantee you that I would not. Sounds like a bet. I'll tell you why I would know. Sounds like a bet. You know why I would know? Because I know that you wouldn't make perfectly symmetrical, round, marble-like balls of meat. How much you want to bet.
$100. How about $1,000? Okay. Oh, boy. Listen, you're on. There's no way. Nothing better about the Super Bowl than the food, by the way. Well, which you won't have. Yeah. And you're going to have frozen meatballs. A bag of food. What is on your t-shirt? It's snuff. Leave me alone. I always have to look my sexy. That's why I'm wearing these tight size 42s. Are you there, Aaron?
Yeah, I'm here. Erin from Escondido. Yeah, I was just listening to you guys talk about meatballs, and it was making me laugh. And my mom told me about a really good recipe, and it's going to sound weird. You go to Costco. No. Actually, you can use those meatballs. It's just pretty much the marinade. So what are you going to give me? You're going to give me a recipe for the meatballs or the marinade? The marinade. Sorry. Okay. Why are you screaming at her? Well, because I was real excited I was going to get a meatball recipe. But what do you think the marinade goes on? The meatballs. It's a meatball recipe. All right, let me hear the marinade. It's for Woods because he doesn't want to make meatballs. Yeah, I'm not making meatballs. Because it would be so time intensive. Poking the staggers. Poking the staggers. Poking it real good. Go ahead. Let me hear your marinade. Okay, it's grape jelly mixed with salsa. I'm going to vomit. I'm going to vomit. I'm going to vomit. I'm going to vomit. I'm going to vomit. I'm going to vomit. I bet it's delicious. It is. I second what L.O.B. said. Yeah. You just said, it sounded like you said, grape jelly and salsa. I bet it's good. It's filthy. That's good. That's the filthiest thing I've ever heard. Really? Do you guys don't like spicy and sweet together? Try it. Do you like spicy and sweet? Yes, I do. Okay, sold. Grape jelly. Sweet.
So Woods is making meatballs with grape jelly and salsa. You know what that sounds like it'd be good on? Wet toast and floppy bacon. Yeah. No way. Sounds just as good. Yes. You know, that would sound good. You know the guys from the movie Alive would pass on that? Yeah. I think it sounds delicious. Thank you for your call. You are saying to me. I think that sounds amazing. That you take the two ingredients and mix them together. And then what do you do? Do you heat it over the meatballs? Yeah, you like throw them all in a crock pot, let it simmer. And then you don't have to eat the sauce. You can pick the meatballs out. But the flavor is really good because they're spicy and sweet, like Wood said. God forbid everybody ever have anything spicy and sweet. There's a lot of other ways to do spicy and sweet, pal. Yeah, but wait a minute, wait a minute. I have Paula Deen over here. Hang on, hang on. The thing I'm not getting here is that there's no, I wouldn't associate. Grape. With a meatball. I know. Italians would. No, really. Really. Wine and meatballs. Well, that's wine. Yeah, what's that made from? Yeah, the old expression, wine and meatballs. Wine and meatballs. Yeah, you know Mike. I'm leaving. I'm leaving. Don't do it. Come on now. It's a wine and the meatballs. What's wine made from? It's made from fermented grapes. Right. What do Italian people eat? Meatballs. Feast. Yeah, dude.
They have wine and a meatball parties. I bet it's so good. I bet if you ate it, you would love it. Of course you would. You should try it. You would love it. Honestly, I thought it sounded disgusting when my mom told me about it, but I tried it because I'm trying to be open and try things, and I loved it. I'm making it. You watch the Food Network, Jay, or no? A little bit here and there. That blonde lady with the big boobs. What's her name? What is her name? Yeah, I just know her boobs. Sandra Lee. Yep. She makes the most disgusting things, and here's her bit. She calls it 80-20. Yeah. It's 80% canned, 20% homemade. So she'll be like, today I'm going to show you how to make nachos. She'll take a bag of Tostitos. She'll pour them into a bowl. Then she'll take canned beans and... Delicious. You can't tell the difference. Yeah, you can. How do you do it? Oh, my gosh. You great Gruyere cheese over you. Yes, Gruyere. If you get the good beans that come in the pan. Yes, you handpick beans. You mash them. Then you refry them. How do you do it? You're fooling yourself. How do you do it? He orders out. That's a true statement. Here's the deal.
I'm not going to try nachos at home. You're going to make nachos at home? How about chips and salsa? That's fine. We make nachos once a week. That is white girl Mexican food. My wife makes white girl Mexican food. I think your wife's a white girl. Married to a Mexican. She's married to a Mexican. White girl Mexican food. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. I think that sounds really good, and I'd like to try it. I'm going to try it. I want to try it. Grape jelly and salsa. Yeah. I wonder if it's like equal parts. I don't know. I'll look up the recipe, and will you make some, Jay? Not for you. You'll look up the recipe? Yeah. I bet it's out there. I bet you can find it. I bet it's not something that was homemade like she discovered. I bet it's out there. I bet it's a popular thing. M1 Dan from Carlsbad. M1 Paul from Escondido. Yes, sir. You've actually tried. The grape jelly with salsa. Of course you have. I've been eating it for years, but here's the thing. I don't know about the salsa bit. I do not know about that at all. I'm not going to vouch for that. But ketchup and grape jelly. Here's what you do. You get a crock pot. You go down and you buy some frozen meatballs. Yeah, sounds delicious. Hey, can I come to your Super Bowl party instead? There it is. There's a thousand recipes for it. Grape jelly meatballs. Put chili sauce and grape. What's sauce? Sauce? He's trying to help you. What is sauce? Jelly.
It's amazing. What do you do? Grape jelly and what? Grape jelly and ketchup. That's disgusting, dude. Oh, it sounds filthy. That's filthy. But it is amazing, Mike. And you heat it? You heat it in a crock pot? Yes, you heat it on low for, dude, you can heat it up for 24 hours. Oh, that is so good. You should see the pictures. They look fantastic. He'd eat them. You'd eat a dozen of them if I made them. Bro, it sounds disgusting. It does sound gross. There's a lot of stuff that sounds gross, but that you'd eat it. You know, and it tastes good. I don't like jelly or cow. All right, well, thank you. You should make it and see how it goes. I'll let Jay make it. I'm not bringing it in for you. M1 Jennifer from San Diego. Hi, guys. Hi. Hi, I have another grape jelly recipe. It's pretty much what you've been talking about. It's Heinz. chili sauce, a couple bottles of that with grape jelly and yellow mustard. Delicious. Oh, man. Freaking delicious. People beg me for it. I'm begging for it right now. Really? I swear. It's the best stuff. You've got to try it. Okay. I don't know why, but when you said that people are like...
specifically requesting it. Something about that kind of got me. I don't know why. It's much like people do for me with my ranch and carrots. Dude, you've got to bring your famed ranch. And Woods will probably be like, oh, man. It's going to take forever. You have to open the bag and pour the baby carrots out. I'm bringing a loaf of bread to your Super Bowl party and a two liter of Pepsi. Oh, man. I've got to open the packet. And pour it into the bowl. Monster. Do I have to get a whisker or can I just use a regular spoon? See, that's the thing. Now I got a whisk. Now I got a whisk. My sundae is open if anybody wants to have me over for their Super Bowl. He thinks I'm kidding. I'm not kidding. Are you trying that hard to get out of not coming to the Super Bowl party? I mean, are you trying that hard? Then fine. You don't have to. I'm okay. It's done. You're going to bleach your t-shirt that day instead. You guys are kissing makeup. Totally. Phil Mickelson is real upset with somebody on the internets and is going to sue them for what they said. Taking people to court for vicious statements they made about him online. Statements about him and his wife. They live in Rancho Santa Fe. And yeah, man, they were saying stuff about him, his wife Amy. Stuff that's untrue. And obviously very inflammatory. Stuff like he's got an illegitimate child. That his wife was having affairs and stuff like that. He believes that it has damaged his reputation and he's taking these people to court. But a pretty scandalous story, man, just nuts.
