Happy five year anniversary to Mike & Rebecca! Sienna delves into news about “The Sleeping Beauty” girl who sleeps for weeks at a time. The gang discusses greedy airlines selling pillows and blankets now and from that conversation Sienna recalls the time she spilled a bloody Mary on her crotch during a flight! Luckily, Moms saved her khaki pants by scrubbing out the stain while Si wore an airline blanket over her lap. The Kid Woodsie can’t figure out his TomTom GPS so awesome new character “TomTom Girl” comes on to set him straight. Later, 90210’s Dylan stops by the studio for some laughs then Lauren and Sienna have differing opinions on men’s chivalry on a date. Sienna then recalls the now famous “hey do you wanna get crazy” babysitting story. Listen to the podcast if you’re reading this and haven’t heard it. Dave Matthews returned to croon about Sienna’s boobs. Before signing off the gang and callers described their Worst Break-up Stories.

ET San Diego, a Lincoln financial media station. The new home of The Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. Good morning. Morning. Yeah. You want to call us? You can do it. 570-1949. You want to text us? 949mikey at gmail.com. You can do that. Love to talk to you. Open phones beginning and end of every show. So you can call about anything you want to right now. We'd love to hear from you. It's Wednesday. February the 10th. Happy anniversary to my beautiful wife, Rebecca. Happy anniversary. That's right. That's right, dude. Thank you. Five years. Five years. That's right. It's our papier-mâché anniversary. Is that what you're supposed to get? What is the anniversary? Do you know? Don't have a clue. I'll find it. I'll find it. Don't have a clue what they would call the five-year. It's tin, isn't it? It might be tin. A tin can. A jar of sardines. A tin can of memories.
Yeah, five years ago today, we eloped, actually. You did? Yeah. Tell the story. I didn't know that. Yeah, we had a wedding planned and everything. We bought a wedding dress, and then we decided that we were going to elope and go to Hawaii. I love Hawaii. So we went to Maui. I've contemplated that, planning this wedding. I'm not going to lie. Yeah? It would be a lot easier. You ready, dude? What is it? Oh, no. It can't be too awesome. It's wood. Wood. Start whittling. Wow. Get your carving knife out, pal. Oh, my gosh. And you're being inappropriate. No, he didn't. No, I didn't. He didn't mean it. Like 570-1949-949mikey at gmail.com. And by the way, I just want to let you know, if you go to mikeyshow.com, you can also see us on camera. We have webcams set up, and I think that Jay was also making it so that you could see us from a new view. A whole new angle. We're going to have us on a whole new angle. It's better, too. Is it? No more close-ups. Mine's right in my face still. Yeah, so is mine. Well, it's better for us. Yeah. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 39 years of age, and I'm a Chicano. I was at Chicano Park yesterday. How was it? It was fantastic. Yeah.
This is felt at home with my people, with my peeps. Can't speak a word of Spanish. It was really awesome. And so, let's see. Woodsy is our sports guy, and he is 34 years old. His wife's going to be in town soon. Yes, yes. Big news last night, actually. We've really decided that she's coming for good. Are you serious? Sooner than later. Read my blog. Go to MikeyShow.com, read the blog. Really? Yeah. I'm finding this out on the air right now. I'm dying to read this blog because he said that she was crying after she read it. Yeah, it's a done deal, dude. She's going to move out as soon as we get everything knocked out. But she'll be here next week. You guys get to meet her. It's going to be awesome. Can you have pets in your place? Because you have a lot of them. Well, what we'd probably do is get a house and, you know, I can sublet or whatever. Can you do that? I probably won't see the whole lease through.
Really? Yeah, I mean, I'll have to sublet or buy out or whatever. How long is the lease? A year. A year? Dude, they're really strict about that stuff here. Whatever. They'll figure it out. Just bring a dog in and get yourself evicted. Yeah, just get myself evicted. Bring all 17 of your dogs in. He's got four little Yorkies. And a lab. And a lab? Yeah, five total. It's insane. We're going to pay like five grand in pet deposits. Oh, my goodness. But, yeah, so she'll be here next week, and we're going to all do dinner, hopefully. Is she coming? And when she comes, she's staying? No, no. We've got to sell a house and pack and all that stuff. Yeah, because one of the things that we hadn't talked about but you said was okay was that you guys were working things out, you know, that you had your issues and that you guys were trying to figure stuff out. And so that makes me really... Happy, dude. Yeah, it's good, man. We're excited about it. We'll talk about it later, too, because in my daily recap, there's some funny stuff. Now you don't need to worry about furniture. Yeah. It's all coming. It's all coming. That's great. It's all good. Lauren is our assistant producer, and she does a lot of different character voices, and she is a stand-up comic, and she is very computer savvy.
She knows how to do stuff with a computer. Compared to you, Mikey? Compared to the general public? I think compared to the general public. Because whenever we have an issue, we ask you. Sienna, I heard her this morning saying, Lauren, how do you do? But then Sienna's, like, bad. I'm really bad. But I didn't solve it, so. You didn't? I felt better. I was like, see, I'm not that bad. Because I've asked Jay. He couldn't figure it out. Now Lauren couldn't figure it out. So maybe I'm just judging myself. You didn't ask me. Well, that's because you're just helpless. There's no way. I know nothing about computers. I didn't ask Mike either. Imagine that. I know who to go to. Let's see. So let me finish telling you who else is on the show because there's five people on the show. Also, Sienna, who is the most low-maintenance bride-to-be ever. I just realized it again last night because I was like, wow, I got to go down to Men's Warehouse and get a suit. For her wedding. You don't know how much that means that you say that because I have just dealt with some serious bridezillas and they're a nightmare. So I'm so glad you guys don't feel that way. You're like the opposite of a bridezilla. Trip out on it at all. If anything, like once the show's done, I'm like quiet because I'm just thinking of all the things I have to do. Yeah, once the mics are off and I don't need to talk, you know, and I don't want to talk. I went in the office the other day and she was sitting in there and she was not as Sienna-like.
Oh, yeah. I'm thinking, okay, Todd still doesn't have a wedding band. I need to do that. His shirt doesn't look good with his tux at the rental place. We need to buy him a new shirt. Like, there's so many things. I still don't have shoes. She's getting married the 27th. Yeah, like 17 days or something. Yeah. Yeah. I just said that this morning because I was going through my planner and I accidentally flipped over a week and it said CNN Todd's wedding. Wow. Wow, that's so soon. It's going to be great. You guys, it's going to be so. I know it is. I don't even know what's coming. Yeah, for sure. It's your wedding, so I know it's going to be cool and fun. I can't wait to hear about the food. Yeah? Yeah. Oh, there's even late night food coming in. It's going to be ridiculous. For real? Oh, yeah. You're awesome. What about the crab cakes? I hook people up. What about the crab cakes? There may be crab cakes. I don't know. No, there's something that Mikey... Loves. That's coming out later. A bed and my laptop? No. I can't blow the secret. If you guess, you can figure it out, but I can't say it because no one knows. Jay, what did you say? I said caramelized onions. No, no, no, no. It's a big plate. It's a delicious, delicious treat. Jay is our executive producer. Nice.
He had crazy hair when he came in this morning. It was like three feet tall. Looked like he rode his bike here with no helmet. With no helmet. It was everywhere. He looked like a hedgehog. I could do nothing with it either. It wouldn't respond. It had a mind of its own. Talk to the kid after the show, dude. I'll take care of you. I'll give you some product. I'll give you some product. Jeez. Don't talk to him. M1s are Mikey Show listeners, all right? If you're an M1, you call in, you turn your radio down, get to the point and don't cuss, and you listen exclusively to the Mikey Show. You listen for a long time. You try to listen to the whole show is what we would dig because we're trying to come up with material. We'd love for you to experience it. That's the point. 570-1949 is the number. 949mikey at gmail.com. I'm a DJ for a living. That is so weird, and I don't like to say DJ. Disc jockey. I hate when people say that. Spinning the discs? Yeah, just spinning. Spinning the discs. You're a personality. You're not a DJ. Yeah, on-air personality. You know what I call myself? What? I'm a talk show host. There you go. That's even worse, I think. No, I think it sounds good, though. It sounds all growns up. My dad said that my uncle referred to me as a shock jock. Well, you are. You're pretty shocking. I am. You're a shock jock. You really, really are. Let's see. Okay.
Call us, and let's get a couple calls on the line right now because we got M1 Jeff here. You there, Jeff? Yes, I am. What's up? Okay, so you guys are talking about whittling something as a joke, but I've actually whittled stuff for my girlfriend before. Amazing. You're awesome. Big-time winner. What did you whittle for her? So we're working at a summer camp, and I didn't have any time or money, and so I got a piece of 2x4, had it cut into, like, 10 pieces. And I whittled kitchen utensils for her. That's awesome. Are you related to Jay? So cool. That's awesome, dude. Yeah, no kidding. Jay can make anything, and that sounds like something Jay would do. That sounds hard. Carving out of a two-by-four sounds impossible. No, I was trying to cut into, like, one-foot pieces. I missed it. L-O-B got a match. She got one? He was too busy checking his blackberry. It was pretty sweet. And then when I presented it to her, since I had very few materials... I just wrapped it in sackcloth and tied it with twine. Wow. You are a good man to have around. It's pretty awesome. That is cool. That's bad. In one Grizzly Adams. Yeah. It was pretty fun. That's awesome. If Lauren was your girlfriend, she would really like that because she likes things that, you know, she wants to know that her man took a lot of time to do something that no one else owns. It's true. Yeah.
Dude, it took a lot of time. I actually have plans. I have one piece of that 2x4 left, and so I'm going to carve something else for her. I wanted to do it for our anniversary, which is next week, but I kind of don't have enough time right now. But I'm going to carve basically like a, what do you call it? Not really a paperweight, just like a plaque out of wood. Can you carve me a chain wallet? That's awesome, dude. I think that's a good idea. I appreciate it. Thanks for the call. Somebody texted in, M1 Onyx texted in and said, what's up with the podcasts? Oh, my gosh. That's the bane of all things. I know. Well, here's the deal. For everybody that wants this podcast up, just understand we are working. Well, no, we're not. Lauren is. Well, and a lot of people behind the scenes for the radio station. In the end, it's going to be for the better to make it the most organized and to give you commercial-free, very easy-to-navigate little bits. These podcasts are going to be better than they've ever been 100% because before when you had them, there was commercials on there. You didn't know what was on each break. None of them were labeled. We're going to have all of that, and it's going to look awesome. Lauren's working really hard to do it. Now, here's the thing.
I love our sponsors, but in the context of podcasting, it's great for people to be able to just get the content of the show. And that's what's great about the podcast concept. For those of you that are just waking up from a 14-year coma, a podcast is simply a way of you to download the show and have it on your iPod. It's good for, like, my folks and stuff that can't listen all the time but want to hear. Like, my dad wants to hear everything. Sure. And so he can go in, like, on the weekend and just listen to his baby boy. Yeah, how about that? Steven. It's real good. A little Steven. So, again, I don't watch American Idol. I'm staying quiet. Okay. But my wife watches it like crazy. A lot of people like it. There may be people listening right now that watch American Idol. I'm pretty sure there are. Well, it's like the number one show in America. I'm not saying that to be facetious. It really is like the number one show in America. It has been for like nine seasons. Yeah. And I saw one episode this season. It was like maybe the first episode. I think it was. If you saw that 16-year-old girl, I think that was the first. I think she's a unicorn.
She is great. Her angel Indian. Yeah, she's so good. This 16-year-old girl is so good and has such a pleasant tone to her voice that I think that she is as rare as a unicorn running down the street. And she's really just nice. She seems like a really good person. She's on the show. Her grandmother has Alzheimer's, which is what my mom has. And is losing her memory. And so she wants to be able to have her grandmother see her before she forgets who she is. That is awesome. So cool. And so her grandmother is getting to experience this thing that's happening to her right now where she's on national television singing. Somehow I know I'll be strong. For once I can touch what my heart used to dream of. Long before I knew someone like you would make my dreams come true. Thank you. Wow. 16 years old. Awesome. Is that Stevie Wonder, too, I think? That's real good. That's real good. Now.
Then there's this, the other story is that last night was Ellen's first night. Lauren O'Brien really hated the fact, she found out yesterday, Lauren found out yesterday that Ellen was even on American Idol. It's a bummer. And was real bummed out by it because she doesn't like American Idol and likes Ellen. So it was kind of bummed out that she sold out, I guess is the feeling I'm getting from you. Yeah, a little bit. That she sold out. But she made her first, we got to hear some of her first comments. about this dude singing last night. Now, you got to understand that as he's doing this and as he's singing, he's pacing across the stage, staring. Staring at the judges, pacing back and forth, like really creepy. Just very creepy. Yeah. If I had to beg, please, for your sympathy, I don't mind, cause you mean that much to me. Ain't too proud to be, sweet darling. Please don't leave me, girl. All right, Skiboski. Huh? What did he say? Listen. That's his name. Skiboski. That's what he goes by. Polish? Yeah, she just said that, yeah, I don't know. I think so. Polish? Yeah, it definitely sounds like he's a Polish guy. It's his own little nickname that he came up with, and he refers to himself in the third person. Prog. Sounds like me. Yeah, it is like you. Ellen just said, you frighten me.
You were stalking us. You were like a leopard behind a cage. I was watching you. Dead on. It looked like you were going to get us. I know, I know. This is the American dream. Of course, but seriously, don't frighten your audience. Don't get so intense. See, that's why she's going to be great. She's funny, dude. Right off the bat, hilarious. L.O.B. just rolled her eyes. Like I said yesterday, I see where they're going with it. Did you hear the audience with the ha-ha-ha in the background? It was funny. But, you know, she's also going to be making fun of people to a certain degree. Listen, I don't like making fun of people, but I do like observational. You know, observational is different than personal. I don't think she's going to make fun of anyone. That's the one thing she said publicly. I mean, she just did. I thought that was observational. Personal would have been like, you know, you look like an idiot. What are you wearing? Yeah. I mean, I don't know. I just don't know that her stage experience necessarily translates. I mean, comedy is a lot different. They're similar in some ways, but it's a lot different than being a musician. Now, if you think Lauren is being tough on Ellen,
You should have heard before we went on the air this morning. We're talking about it. And as soon as I bring up that we have clips from American Idol, Lauren and Woodsy are automatically, like, sticking their fingers down their throat, right? And me and Sienna are kind of into it, you know? Because Sienna loves the show. I pretend that I don't like it as much as I actually do like it. I just don't get to watch it. But I said, I'm reading it because I'm only going to play three clips of the show. And I see... This clip that Sienna says, this guy's great. She goes, oh my gosh, this dude last night, Mikey, he sang Paula Abdul straight up and he did it like on a guitar and he did like his own. And Woodsy goes, Woodsy looks like he wants to barf. I had the same reaction when they announced that that's what he was going to be singing. And the judges kind of chuckled to themselves too because it's like, really, this guy's going to sing Paula Abdul? Lame. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Just. Listen, he has his guitar with him and he kills it. Kills it. Git. You want to try it? Just try it. I'll try it. All right, let's see what... I'm open-minded. All right, let's be open-minded. I'm in love with it already. So good.
I've been a fool before. Wouldn't like to get my love caught in the slamming door. How about some information, please? That's pretty good, dude. That's pretty good. I gotta say. That's bad, dude. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. Bad in a good way? Bad in a good way. That's pretty good. They were like blown away. I bet they lost their mind. I'm all in on that. That's good. Honda calling cars. Oh, God. I mean, is it going to end? Does it end? Honda is now recalling cars. We'll tell you about that when we come back. Also, how come the White Stripes are all upset about a commercial that aired during the Super Bowl? 570-1949 is our number. 949Mikey at gmail.com. Text us, too. Love you. We'll be back after this. If you want super fast Internet without all the lag you get with DSL, switch to Earthlink from Time Warner Cable.
See, Time Warner Cable has this advanced fiber network. So with it, Earthlink is 13 times faster than DSL. 13 times. That's huge. Seriously, getting Earthlink for your internet service is such a no-brainer. Pick up the phone and call 1-800-CABLE-TV to get Earthlink from Time Warner Cable for only $36.95 a month. We spice it up like only the way Mama knows. We don't use any of that greasy stuff we get at other places. Yeah, it's not greasy. Not greasy at all. My buddy Mark tried them. What'd you think, Mark? I tried the El Pastor tacos. What's up with the pineapple? Let me tell you about the El Pastor tacos, man. We marinated for 24 hours. Hey, Brian from the Nervous Records. What are you doing here hanging out with Mark and Caesar? Hey, Tim Piles. We're just eating some food. Really? Are you sure you're not cutting a commercial? No, man. We're just having a conversation. Really? Yeah, are we supposed to be cutting a commercial? I'm a musician. I don't endorse things. Oh, this is awkward. Maybe I should write a jingle.
Oh, yeah. AIS. You have to call them. If you have not called AIS yet, you absolutely have to do it. See, here's the thing. Customers that are calling AIS, clients at AIS, what they're reporting is an average annual savings of $650 a year on their auto insurance. It's unreal. I mean, that's just unbelievable savings. And my personal story to you is that I saved $1,600 a year by switching to AIS. Now, the cool thing, too, is that if you are, if you're going to, let's say that you call them up and you say, you know, I also want to get my wife on this thing. Or let's say that you have a good driving record. Or that you got an anti-theft device in your car. Or you're a good student, even.

And again, if you've done it, if you've ever called AIS, you've ever heard me tell you to call AIS and you've actually done it. We want to get you on the air and we want to let people hear you saying that you've done it. But I've done it. My personal story is $1,600 a year in savings. And that's just money that you don't want to be spending on your auto insurance. You want to put that money in your pocket. So get her done. 1-800-777-4AIS. When people tell me that it looks like I'm losing weight, I always think to myself, I must be gaining weight. Why? I don't know. That's what happens in my head. Why don't you just say, oh, thank you. Yeah, I've been working on it. I do. But my internal dialogue goes, oh, no. Oh, no. You know what I hate? What? And this happened to me the other day. I told one of my friends who I hadn't seen her in a while, oh, my goodness, you have lost so much weight. You look so good. And she's like, really? All I've been doing is eating. I feel like I just am big. And I'm just like. That must be it. I gave you a compliment. Don't tell me all you've been doing is eating because whatever you're doing, it's working because you look good. That must be it because I think to myself.
I'm not working out, you know? I'm not working out. I'm praying about losing weight, but I'm not working out right now. But, man, imagine if I was. God, me neither. The Japanese cars are so reliable. However you say it, I'm just saying, I don't know the word for reliable in Japanese. That's it, I think. I don't know if that's it. I think that was it. That's it. That was it. I think that's it. What's the deal? Late yesterday evening, Honda announced that they're going to be recalling 379,000 cars for airbag hazards. Apparently, they've received like 12 incidents related to the airbag inflator problems. And the recall goes for these cars, the 2001 and 2002 Accord, Civic, Odyssey, CR-V, and selected 2002 Acura TL vehicles.
You know, it doesn't matter what make or model it is. Every person that I've ever heard talk about an airbag incident, they always say that they got burned. Yeah, dude. You ever heard that? Yeah, for sure. You have? You've had an airbag pop out? Yeah. And I guess when it comes out, it's pretty violent when it comes. It doesn't matter what kind of car you have. Oh, yeah, it can break your nose and stuff. That's what I heard. I've always been afraid because I wear glasses a lot. Right. That it's going to like. shatter into my face or like something just awful. Yeah. They're saying the airbags, the airbag inflators in these certain vehicles may expand with too much pressure, which can cause things breaking and can result in dying. Yeah. Gosh, that gives me the creeps. I know. That's weird. So if you have one of those cars, be careful, get it checked out. Yeah, right away. And you'll probably be getting something in the mail unless you're like a lot of people where you move a lot, you know, and then you don't get that. recall letter or whatever. How do these recalls come about from customer complaints? Is there like a witch hunt? Some organization looks at these? Michael Moore's after. It's probably what it is though. People have this stuff happen. They go to the Honda dealership and go what's up? And there's enough complaints to warrant it. To warrant probably an investigation and then they go track it down. How come the White Stripes are all mad about a commercial that aired in the Super Bowl? What was it?
It's been funny, actually. You know, I was thinking about this today. I think we've talked more about the Super Bowl this week than we did all of last week. But there's just so many cool stories that come out of it. Well, this is after, yeah. Well, yeah, it's very cool. But the White Stripes, they're one of my absolute favorite bands, man. I think they're really talented. They're upset because the Air Force Reserve used Fell in Love with a Girl, which is one of their biggest hits, in one of their recruitment ads. So they ran it in select markets, Dallas, Vegas, San Fran. And they're upset about it. And they said, basically, the wide stripes take strong insult and objection to the Air Force Reserve presenting this advertisement with the implication that we licensed one of our songs to encourage recruitment during a war we do not support. Are they insane using a song that they didn't license? I know, dude. Who does that? I know. Can you do that? And what they basically, what the reserve said basically was that they hired an ad agency to do it. And the ad agency composed the music on its own. But, you know, they said it was dead on. They said it was absolutely perfect. I'd like to find the audio in the next couple of days. We'll do a little compare and contrast. So they've got to be more than upset. They've got to be suing. Yeah, they're pretty upset right now. So we'll see what happens with that story. Also, I got some cool audio, man, of...
Darren Sharper and Drew Brees just kind of addressing the crowd. I don't know where it is. Is it on one? It's on one, and it's pink. I don't have it. Jay Bird. I don't have it. He's running in here. And I'm still learning how to use the equipment. That's fine. Well, also, man, I wanted to tell you that the Vegas casinos this year took it to the bank. They made $6.68 million on Super Bowl stuff. Wow. They needed that, too. Which is up. Who did? Who needed it? The city of Vegas, actually, was in kind of dire straits with their economy. For sure, for sure. Did you find it? Is it called Parade? Yes. It's under the pink. It's in pink? It's not pink. No. Should be pink. We've made it pink, didn't we, Jay? Well, that is Woods' favorite color. Yes, it is. Clearly. All right, so this is who? What? This is Darren Sharper and Drew Brees. We bring it all together because that's what we did as a team. We brought it all together. So we're bringing the Mardi Gras and the Super Bowl bread together. Because them boys! Oh, wow. Wow. So what is this like?
Well, I mean, it's Mardi Gras just about a week early. I think it just extended Mardi Gras another month, too. It's going to be just a month-long celebration. Oh, it's going to be nuts to clean that city up. Can you imagine? I think we reported yesterday that it was Fat Tuesday. It was not. That it's next Tuesday, however. Do you think they heard me and that's why all this partying is going on? They complained. It's going to be... Absolutely epic. Couple, Mardi Gras, with a Saints Super Bowl victory celebration. They said it's going to be the biggest one in history. Crazy. Let's see. Is that it with sports? Dude, actually, no. We've got one week until pitchers and catchers report for spring training. I could not be happier. No, you're a big baseball guy. I'm a huge baseball guy. And, you know, the hometown Padres here, man, they have an absolute superstar. in Adrian Gonzalez, who you got to meet and who I got to meet. And I got some audio up there about Adrian Gonzalez and his situation with the Padres. Gonzalez managed to hit 40 homers in 09 while playing half of his games in an enormous home park, a testament to his tremendous prowess at the plate. If the trade rumors are to be believed, we may soon find out what the 27-year-old slugger can do in a more favorable environment.
For now, Gonzalez will make do with his resources at hand and continue to deliver premium power despite the obstacles. Guy's an absolute beast, and Petco is a pitcher's park. We're not going to have anyone left on the team. I'm telling you, man, that's a guy you've got to hang on to. He is an absolute talent, plus I don't want him going to the Red Sox. It's brutal, man. It's absolutely brutal. Hey, did you hear about the Haitian guy that was pulled out of the rubble? It's been 27 days. That's awesome. 27 days after the earthquake in Haiti, and he was pulled from the rubble. He's 28 years old. Oh, man. I mean, it's just nuts. He was brought to a hospital, obviously, immediately. They said he was very disoriented. However, there... Specialists are saying there's no way he could have survived, and he did say that someone saw him in there. They couldn't get him out, but they were bringing him water. So he was able to get some water in his system. I doubt it was very often. I'm sure he had a couple sips here and there. They throw him a sandwich or anything? Yeah, why don't they throw that down there? They didn't say that. No, it just said he was able to get a little bit of water while he was trapped.
But, yeah, I mean, there's a picture of him, and he just does not look good. Really? It's amazing, though. That's a pretty amazing story. That's awesome. It's phenomenal. Speaking of amazing stories, do you guys know who Sleeping Beauty is? No. It was a Disney thing, wasn't it? No, it's something a little different. It's a 15-year-old girl who suffers from this sleeping disease where she sleeps for weeks. Yes. Her longest case was, they say, 13 days, which is obviously a little less than two weeks. And she sleeps. She's had this disease. It's called Klein-Levin syndrome, where you just sleep. And it primarily affects adolescents. I guess you grow out of it. There's nothing doctors can do to help. How old is she? She's had it for 8 to 12 years, they say. I guess they didn't really know what was going on when she was really young. 15? She's 15 now, yeah. And I heard she's really cute and really pretty. Pretty girl looking it up right now. That's why they're calling her Sleeping Beauty. Rip Van Winkle had that, dude. Yeah, she's a pretty girl. Yeah, that was his deal. That's Rip Van Winkle. But, I mean, her parents were interviewed, and they were like, when we first found this out, it was terrifying, you know, going to wake her up, and she was always sleeping, and you can't wake them. So they thought, you know. Did you get a picture? She's gorgeous. Yeah, she's gorgeous. She's gorgeous. She looks like the actual Sleeping Beauty. Sleeping Beauty. Really? She's beautiful. So hopefully as she grows, she'll grow out of it, because apparently that's what happens.
Mayor Nagin is the mayor of New Orleans. That's right. And you remember him after Katrina because he was saying a lot of stuff after Katrina. I kind of like Mayor Nagin. I do, too. He's kind of ornery. Yeah, I like him. He's kind of ornery. He's kind of got to be to be mayor of New Orleans, man. And so, anyway, this is what he had to say. We got local media. We got CNN. We got BBC. We got everybody. This is going international. So I don't want anybody from New York to say they partied better than us. All right? I don't want anybody from Chicago to say they partied better than us. All right? Nobody, especially Indianapolis. Gotta throw a cow and party like it's 1999. I love him. Guy's into it, right? And he is right. Nobody parties like that city. Nobody. I've only been there once. I was there for a Super Bowl. And it was during a time where I was just trying to quit drinking. Oh, good move. Yeah, imagine being in New Orleans during Super Bowl and Bourbon Street. Dude. And you're trying to quit drinking. How'd you do?
I actually was able to pull it off by, you know, just like. Skinnier teeth. Oh, yeah. Biting my fingernails. It's like being in Candyland and trying to give up sweets. It's the truth, man. Trying to quit cocaine and going to Bolivia for vacation. Exactly. Want to smoke? You want to stop smoking pot? Great. Go to Amsterdam. Have a ball. Best place to go. Have an absolute ball. Anyway, that's Mayor Nagin on what's going on. How about the White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs? Saying this. Now, remember the story about Sarah Palin writing the stuff on her hand? Yeah. This is a press secretary yesterday. The entire, I wrote a few things down. On his hand. I wrote eggs, milk, and bread. I crossed out bread just so I can make pancakes for Ethan if it snows. And then I wrote down hope and change just in case. Nothing like the high road, bro. Wow. Annoying. You're annoyed, right? I'm annoyed. It's like, dude, she wrote a couple of words. It wasn't like a speech or something sneaky. Woods loves it. I love it. Lauren O'Brien has a big smile on her face. I think it is funny, but if you're in that kind of position, you probably, I mean, Jon Stewart can make that joke, but I don't think that this guy should be doing that. The White House press secretary? Yeah. Who are you, dude? Stop.
Hey, good news. American Airlines is going to start charging for blankets and pillows. That's really awesome, man. Oxygen is next. Yeah, exactly. Can I just say, okay, have you guys ever gotten a blanket? Yes. They're awful. What do you do with a blanket? You put it over your legs and that's all you can do. Oh, no, no, no. What I've done with a blanket is I fold it. And I use it as a little bit more cushion on the top of the chair. So I sit on it. And I've seen lots of people do that. I put it behind my back. What do you think goes on with most of the guys that sit on those blankets? And now you're going to have to pay to have one of those stinky blankets? So ridiculous. I may be naive, but I thought that when the flight's over, they gather them all. Throw them in the washing machine. Throw them in the washing machine. No, it's nice to think that, but I doubt it. They don't come in little, you know. Hang on. You're lucky if you get Febreze. I thought that, you know, when they're putting new food on and new drinks, that they also put new blankets in the little bags because they come in little bags. I don't think so. I think maybe like at night they do it and then they use the same ones.
throughout the flights each day. I'm using farty blankets. That's what I think. You are. Disgusting. Airplanes are filthy. Filthy. I know. They skeeve me out. Why do you think we always get sick after you're on a plane? And I use the blanket as a pillow. I've done that too. Because I like window seats. Me too. So I roll the blanket up and I put it by my cheek. Don't you wonder why you get a zit every time you get off a plane? Mikey gets pink eye after he flies. Gross. That's so filthy. So $8 for the pillow. Eight. Yeah. Pillow blanket package. Yeah. That's gross. It's going to go into effect in May. Yep. May 1st is when they start charging you eight bucks for that. Do you get to keep it? No.
It's made out of felt. Yeah. You also clean your sunglasses with it. It's the same thing they give you when you buy new sunglasses. What is next? $8 on all domestic flights. First of all, that blanket is the size of a napkin. Yeah, it is. That blanket saved my life one time. It did? Yeah, I was... Oh, no. What? It's not that bad. I was on a plane and I was drinking a Virgin Bloody Mary. I was like 14 years old. That's hot. And I spilled the Bloody Mary. I was wearing khaki pants right on my crotch. You spilled Bloody Mary on your crotch? I was on a plane and I was with my mom and there was red Bloody Mary mix all over my crotch and my light khaki pants. And my mom's like, you have to get rid of that. You can't walk around the airport. We had to change flights. We were going to Alaska. And so my mom's like, here, grab this blanket, put it around your waist. She went to the bathroom and started scrubbing in that tiny bathroom to get all the stuff off of my pants. You took your pants off? On the plane. I was pantless with a blanket around my waist. Pants on the ground. Pants on the ground. No, I'm not kidding. And so she went to the bathroom and I was so embarrassed. 14 years old. I mean, it's so hard. Yeah. And so she comes back from the bathroom and the whole rest of the flight, this was the worst. I had to hold my khaki pants up to the floor.
little air conditioner. Oh, wow. But the amazing thing is, is by the time we landed, my pants were flawless. Perfect. Spotless. Unbelievable. Perfect. What would you have done if your mom wasn't there? Cried. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I would have had, looked like people would have thought I had a, you know, what? Accident. Oh, yeah. Oh, that's filthy. You guys ever done anything really terrible like that on a flight? I spilled a Heineken in my lap the first five minutes after we took off for Hawaii. So I had an eight hour flight sitting in a puddle of beer. And it stunk. I was just freezing. My brother's like... And it probably stunk all skunky, right? Yeah, skunky. I had, like, skunky beer all over myself for eight hours. It makes me feel so uncomfortable. It's the worst. Just sitting in a puddle of beer. Cold. Cold. Did it dry, at least, by the time you got off the flight? Well, by the time I got off, it was dry, but I took an ambient pest out. Good to go. Thanks, Mom. Wow. 570-1949 is our number. You can also text us, 949-MIKEY.
at gmail.com. So what else did we, what else did I want to, oh, there's this Cuban woman whose relatives are saying that she just turned 125 years old. Prove it. Look at this picture. I think it might prove it here, Mike. Let's see. Wrong, sir. Wrong. She looks like she could be. I'm not being mean. I'm just making an observation. It's like an Egyptian mummy. I was just thinking that. I'm only saying what everybody was thinking. Maybe she could use some of my cocoa butter on her face. She is 125 years old. What do you expect? How do you preach something like that? Can they do testing? They can't. Guinness Book of World Records is looking into it because the oldest person in their book just died recently at the age of 115. So this woman may be next. They just celebrated her 120th birthday, so relatives are saying, in Cuba. Her name is Juana. She has 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Wow. And they say that she may be the oldest person on the planet. You know how you do it? You cut her leg off and count them.

The new home of The Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. The song's called Riff Raff. Who's that, would you? No idea. He didn't get to pick the songs today. Got demoted already. You got demoted? I did. Yeah. Who's picking? Garrett was picking them. I know what I'm doing, buddy. I know you do, man. So you don't have to worry about it. I got this one. I'm not worried. I just enjoyed it. Yeah, you were picking some songs I wasn't comfortable with. I liked them, Garrett. I thought they were good, unique. Which one did you like the most? I really liked, I don't know, all of them. I don't really know any of those songs. I got a rule. I got a rule. Uh-oh.
You can play it as long as you can't spell the name of the band. But that's confusing sometimes. Thank you. I'll remember that going forward. Now you understand. I got it. I love him. And I like this song. I don't know what it is, but I already like it. Dude's got phenomenal taste in music. He does. He's a good guy. He knows what's going on. He's great. Love you, Garrett. Here's the deal. These Americans took these kids out of Haiti, which turned into a pretty big... You know, to do huge because they were they thought they were kidnapping them and stuff. They were saying that it was trafficking. Yeah, I even said, well, I never thought that they were trying to do anything evil. I thought that in their minds they were helping. But what I said that I thought was monstrous was that these kids at the time, the story was, well, these kids got parents that are still alive. And I thought, well, even though they think they're doing something good. That's not very good. It's not the right way to go about it. No. Just snatching kids off the street, even though you have goodness in your heart and in mind. If for whatever reason you hadn't heard that story, there are 10 Americans from Idaho. They're U.S. missionaries. They were over in Haiti and they took 33, tried to take 33 children to the Dominican Republic where they said they were going to start an orphanage and, you know, start caring for these kids because, you know, all the schools and homes were destroyed in Haiti. And so the majority of these parents,
are willingly saying they willingly gave their children to the Americans. They were in court yesterday, and that's what they testified. They said, look, we gave our kids to them. We gave them to them. That's a pretty big deal. That's a huge, huge story. So now one of the attorneys has come forward and said, we can't talk anymore about trafficking of human beings because they gave them. The Haitian parents gave the kids to the Americans. So they go back to court today, and it's looking a lot better for Americans now, the ones that are over there. Think about how hard that would be for those Haitian parents. Oh, for sure. But they know that they're going to be taken care of and fed and clothed and, you know, roof over their head. Yeah, they didn't know, but they knew that they couldn't. Think about it, man. Could you do it? I totally could if I had to. Yeah, you would have to. You would have to. For the sake of your children, you'd sacrifice your own life. I don't think I could. You'd have to. I would be like, I'll figure it out. I'll figure out how to take care of my can't let my baby go. Not if you thought they were going to die in your care. They need medicine. They need food. They need water. They need shelter. They need clothing. It's a no-brainer, man. These random people, you're just going to put them on a bus? For now. For now. But what if you can't find them again? They didn't have any paperwork, no passports, nothing. You chip them. You put a chip in them. You can't just chip them right then and there on the street. You GPS them. You can't even go there. First of all, let's talk GPS for a second. Okay. Because Woodsy...
on Super Bowl day, sends me a text and he says, hey, what can the kid bring to the party? And I said, you know, and I can't think of anything. I don't know what to tell him. Because you're like a social, like, you don't get any of them. I don't know what to say. Well, the nice thing for you to say would have been, oh, man, don't worry about bringing anything. But, of course, he should have. Well, the invitation to the party said, hey, everybody just bring something. Yeah. You know? And so I said, well, why don't you get some KFC? Why don't you get some KFC hot wings? Great call. And Woodsy texts back, yeah, no problem. If only I knew where there was a KFC. It's called Google. Yeah. I didn't have internet at my house. Don't you have one of those car things? He's got a TomTom. Yeah. Jay goes, just plug it into the TomTom. You figure it out from the TomTom. Guy can't figure out the TomTom. Guy can't figure it out. I can't figure it out. It's a TomTom, dude. I loaded in my home address, and that's all I figured out how to do. It's got like a voice that'll tell you where to go. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if I got the good Tom Tom. You got the good Tom Tom. I think they all tell you. It's like 150 bucks. Really? Yeah. I think it still tells you. Mikey, I told him several times where to make the turn. I know. What? I know you're the Tom Tom lady, but the kid can't figure it out. The kid's got to, he doesn't understand. I had no idea. Yeah, it's a problem.
All he kept saying was the kid doesn't need directions. I tried to figure it out on my own. Hey, Tom Tomlady, the kid can't, he takes a little time sometimes to figure some stuff out. It's not his fault. He's trying. He couldn't turn the knobs because he had too much lotion on his hands. I had to look spiffy, dude. It was Mike's party. I wanted to come representing. And Tom Tomlady, that's just a shot at him because you know that he moisturizes with a lot. Yeah, she does. He must have applied seven times in just a half an hour drive. I've been in one scar. Yeah, there's quite a few lotions in there. No lotions in my car. There is. There's cologne. No, there's no cologne. There's one, maybe one tube of lotion. Tube. Tom, Tom lady. Why don't you try giving the guy a break because he's trying his best. I told him to apply the brakes several times because he was going too fast and missing his exit. Mikey.
Did she tell you that? Every day she tells me. He just kept playing music that I didn't know. She's never up on the alternative scene like your boy is. He doesn't know what you're playing. Yeah, she has no idea what it is. I'll have to give it to him, though. He sings like an angel. He does have a pretty good voice. Velvet. Velvet voice. Well, thank goodness for the Tom Tom. Well, it's really been a lifesaver to getting me from home to work and work to home, which is all I ever do. Right now, that's kind of the best thing you've got going right now, okay? Is that Tom Tom Lady? Yep. Because your wife is still back in Dallas right now. That's right, dude. Hey, Tom Tom Lady, thank you for even being there for him. I think that's kind of you. No problem, Mikey. He would be completely lost without me. He still is? I think he will always be lost.
Fair enough. San Diego is a tough, tough town to navigate. Yeah, I don't get it. There's all these canyons and like you see something and you're like, I just want to go right there. And then you have to go down and around a canyon and then down some. It's easy. It's awful. It's not. So scary to get around here. Goodness. And the nine lane highway. Never seen that before. The tiny little lanes. Yeah. How many lanes are there in Texas? Like four at the most. There's not nine. And they're huge because everything's bigger in Texas. That's right. That's. You guys hear about all the coke that went into Amsterdam and it was supposed to be like roses? You can't even get in trouble for that over there. I know. I thought it was legal. So did I. What was the deal? Well, there were 20,000 long stem roses flown over by Amsterdam from Columbia. And just in time for, you know, the St. Valentine's Day weekend. Yeah. But the...
The people that get the shipments, they were obviously suspicious because who sends 20,000 long stem roses, went through and found four kilograms of narcotics, which were divided into small packages, wrapped in cellophane, and hidden in the cardboard boxes, holding the roses. Wow. Really? So, yeah, it was like $1.8 million worth of Coke. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, a lot, a lot. Did you guys know that Tortilla de Rossi is writing a... I think it's Porsche. Oh, that's a car, bro. That's a German. No, that's true. Ellen's wife? Yeah. Portia de Rossi? Oh, it's not Tortilla de Rossi? No. It's Portia. Portia. Portia. Portia. Portia. Yeah, she's writing a memoir, which is going to be a memoir. A what? It's like a Jaguar. A what? How do you not know what a memoir is? Memoir. Memoir. That's what I said. Memoir. Memoir. Memoir. Memoir. Why are you laughing so hard? Well, because it did sound like you said a little, you know.
Memoir. Yeah, I think the Tom Tom lady can probably say that word a little bit better than you said it the first time you said it. Memoir? I think it's pronounced memoir. That's exactly what I said. Memoir. She's writing a memoir. Tom Tom lady, how do you say it? I think it's pronounced memoir. Okay, I think it is too. I told the Tom Tom lady how to say it. Okay, fine, I'm just saying. I programmed it in her machine. Okay. It's Pusha Darasi's writing a memoir. Yeah. There you go. I said that's what I said the first time. Yeah, you got it. Okay. Well, it's going to be addressing her battle with anorexia, her sexuality, and her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres. Do you know her name? She was born Mandy Rogers. Yes, I did know that. That's fancy, dude. Are you serious? She went real fancy on that. Yeah. Portia de Rossi. That's her name that she changed. Mandy Rogers? Bill Smith. Yeah, dude. Yeah. My name is Bill Smith, but it's actually pronounced Portia de Rossi. Amazing. It's a stage name. Yeah. Wow. Yeah, she says it's going to deal with all the secrets that nearly killed her, and it's expected to be released later this year. She's so hot, by the way. She's super hot. Super hot. Yeah, she looks really pretty. She and Ellen are so cute. She's genius in Arrested Development. Just brilliant. She's got a new show out, too. Better Off Ted or something. Is that still around? I think so. I don't know. I saw it on Hulu, but you never know. You watch it on the Hindu.com. You never know if it's really on TV. I'm usually like three years behind. Yeah.
You just saw Seinfeld for the first time. It's really great. Amazing new show. There's a show called Friends or something? I was trying to talk Dexter with people and they're like, yeah, you're about four seasons out there. She's like, have you guys seen the new Charles in Church? Nicole Eggert is amazing. She's so funny. She's so great. 90210. Brilliant. We were talking about 90210 in the office the other day. We were. I felt like there was like four of us that dug 90210. I love it. I was a baby. You were like in diapers. I remember it being on, but I was too young to watch it. Really? Yeah, I had friends that did, and I was really jealous. Is the theme song the same? Because I remember just hearing that. They changed it up. It's similar, but like. Really? Or new age. And then the sax solo just kicks in. Yeah, that's true. I would hear that music and get so excited. It's the sweetest sax solo I think of all time. Easy paddles. Paddles would get you. Yeah, dude. And Kenny G. I think that's guitar. That is. That is guitar. It's a studio.
guy that just went in with a guitar most definitely had a mullet and a pencil-sized beard. Yeah, and acid-washed jeans. Mm-hmm. And a Genera t-shirt. Mm-hmm. There's the sax. There it is. Luke Perry was on that show, bro. Hey, Kel, if you need me, I'll be at the beach. Surfing. Yeah, I'm probably... I'm getting high. You're so old. Oh, dude, I'm trying not to do cocaine right now. I'm doing... I just moved on to speedball. Yeah, I'm just speedballing right now, Bren. You should really be careful. I know I should, but let me tell you something. When you're the kind of guy I am, you're dating Bren for like the last four years, there's two things you got to worry about. Staying off coke and not getting her pregnant. Those are the only two things you worry about? Two things in the world I worry about. Not getting Bren pregnant and not doing coke. How many times have you been a senior, Dylan? Fourteen. Nice. Well, fourteen and a half you count right now because we're in semester two. Oh yeah, that's good math. I'm still not getting her pregnant and I'm still not doing coke for the last one minute.
Every minute I tell myself, don't get her pregnant this minute and don't do any coke. Stay strong. Keep telling yourself that. Hang on, hang on, hang on. Oh, I didn't make it this minute. I didn't make it this minute. No, dude. You've come so far, man. You just said. But I didn't make it this minute. Dude, just throw it away. Flush it. Get rid of it. Minute by minute, Dylan. Come on. Tom Tom lady, you want to do some coke with me? I can't get that in my gears, Mikey. I'm not Mikey, I'm Dylan. I'm so sorry I haven't been reprogrammed. Your boy Woods needs to update my software. I have a list of the least trusted banks in America. Do you belong to one of the least trusted banks in America? Because you're about to find out. That we all do. That's right.

It's what you want to drink morning, noon, and night because it makes you feel all right. It's good for you. Surf-wise today, looking at smaller surf, but cleaner than you'd expect after that nasty little cold front that has apparently moved through. Could still be some residual clouds and possible showers, but it looks like it's pretty much on the outs now. Wave height, though, isn't that neat-of-waste chest-high zone on average? Maybe a few pluses as the tides start to mellow out. Coming up with a mega-high tide this morning, which is really slowing down most areas now. Beach breaks being your better bet. Across the swell combination of wind and ground, making them more doable. Again, pretty small water quality kind of suspect, too. As the tide starts to head down, they'll look for some more definition, and you might get some reef waves, too. Right now, pretty clean conditions as that storm front it does appear to have passed, and offshore conditions prevail. For up-to-the-minute surf reports, forecasts, go to surfline.com. Just keep talking to me. That's M1 Elroy. Let's see. This one is from M1 Hot Pink Penguin. OMG, Tom Tom Lady is the best thing I've ever heard. Awesome. Smiley face. Incredible. Let's see. Tom Tom Lady, brilliant. L-M-A-O. I'm trying to figure it out. Laughing my bottom. Got it. Sometimes people want to be clever and they throw an F in there too. L-M-F-A-O. That's too many. That's way too many. Isn't that a band? I think it is. I think it is.
LFO. That's LFO. No, there's that. Oh, yeah. Isn't that? No, guys, they're called ELO. They don't bring me down. And 5701949. And ELO's playing the Super Bowl next year, aren't they, Mike? Is that what we decided? Can I make a real quick correction? Yes. I've been informed that American Airlines, we announced that they're selling pillows and blankets for $8 now if you go on a flight. Right. You can keep them. Oh, good. They're very soft and luxurious. Well, for eight bucks, you better be able to keep them. In fact, it should be blanket of the month, and every month a new one comes from American Airlines to your house. I know. Imagine if you went to someone's house, and you're like, I'm kind of cold. Do you have a blanket? Here. Eight dollars. Or is this American Airlines blanket? Or it'll cost you eight dollars. It has wings pinned on it. So the... Oh, wait. Real quick. M1Sean texted in. A bro just wanted to say, What's up to you and the crew? Show's awesome. Woodsy, nothing like a lip full of some fresh cope in the morning. Enjoy. It's awesome. That's M1 Sean. Of course, Sean. I don't know how you talk with that stuff in your mouth. Professional. He knows what he's doing. I just went to your office and was just heartbroken again. Speaking of Sean, I saw that picture of Sean on your desk with amigos all over it. Sean used to be my sound effects guy.
He's a great guy. He's a perfect guy. I wish he were here. He's the best. I feel like I'm just keeping a seat warm. Can he visit? That's Woods' thing. It's like, Woods is like, anytime Sean's name comes up, Woods is like, okay, yeah, he's great. He's great. He's the best. There's nobody better. There's nobody like him. We should have got Woods. I mean, oh, there, there. You're right. It's Freudian slip. See, I do like Woods. You know what's great, too, is when you just mention someone's name and their name is Sean and Woods just starts with a, oh, yeah, no, he's great, right? No, he's perfect. You know, he's an angel, right? Yeah, he's perfect. He's a little angel. Mikey's got a little picture of Sean on his desk that says Amigos all over it. It breaks my heart. We're sitting in show meetings. I'm just like, huh. Mikey's staring longingly. Hey, Mikey, did you hear what I just said? I had a really good idea. No, I'm looking at Sean's picture in his wrestling mask. He is. He's wearing a Nacho Libre wrestling mask. He's so funny. He's so funny. He's like the funniest guy ever. Red Fox and Richard Pryor rolled into one. I love the woodsy jealous of Sean bit. He's so jealous. It's my favorite thing in the world. So jealous. It's great. The least trusted banks.
in America? And why would they be considered least trusted? Because the bigger the bank, and they're all like the big ones, the worst their customer service is, is what they're saying, because they're so, all of their business stuff goes into shareholders and all of this. Yeah, you're like a number. Yeah, you're like, exactly, you're a number. And the smaller the bank, the more personal they are, the more, you know, they know your name when you walk in. More likely you are to lose your money. I know. Who goes into a bank? I do. I do. For what? What do you go into the bank for? Yeah, what do you need it for anymore? You know, because I just moved here. Yeah. And so we got a couple paper checks. Yeah. And the bank where I live in North Park, there's no drive up. It was really weird. So I had to walk in, wait in line, and deposit a check. Now, once you've got direct deposit. Then I probably will never have to go back in. I always go in. For what? Why? Customer service, clearly. You like waiting in lines? No, there's never a line. What are you doing there? I go to two banks. What are you doing there? I don't know. I'll get money. She gets a free lollipop. I get a lollipop. She gets the sucker. Can I just look at my money?
The whole $10 that's in there. Have you finished washing my money? Have you finished laundering my money? I don't know. I just always do. You always go in there? Oh, up until a year ago, I finally went to an ATM. My friend showed me how to do it because I was like, I don't trust those things. Yeah, I was going to say it must be a trust thing. That's kind of like some people are old school. They're like, oh, I wouldn't put my check in an ATM machine. Well, I know. I do. I do. Yeah, sometimes I want the money in there immediately because I need the money. But you're going to go into the bank then. Yeah. If you deposit it, you don't get the whole amount. There's no record of it. I went in the bank the other day, and they had a metal detector. You could only go in one at a time, and you had to go through a metal detector to enter the bank. Wow. I went in one of those, too. Was it the bank right by the station? No, it was the one in Solana Beach. Oh. That's weird. And you have to have a little red button, green button that comes on. Yeah. It's like, oh, my God. I went in one of those, too. I felt very safe. I did not. I did not want to go in. That doesn't, I mean, it makes me creeped out. Well, here are the seven. Least trustworthy banks in America. Stop. This is creeping me out. Go ahead. Any guesses? Bank of America. I don't know. Bank of America, number one. Chase, number two. Capital One. TD Commerce, fifth, third. Well, they're just the biggest banks. I mean, that's the thing. Citibank. And in last place, HSBC. Oh. What's he's like? I got no problem with my bank. And he goes to Bank of America. He loves it. Yeah. I mean, it's, you know, it's.
I've had some issues, but nobody's perfect. And nobody's not had issues with their bank. My bank was robbed by the Geezer Bandit. He was? It was one of those banks on the list. Really? Yes. Got robbed by the Geezer? The Geezer Bandit in San Diego. It's probably the safest bank for you to go into right now. That's why there's a metal detector. No, it was a different one. Oh, okay. What do you guys make of this? You can call us and tell us what you make of it, 570-1949, or you can also text us, 949mikey at gmail.com. It says, Mikey, first of all, I wanted to say I am loving the new show. The main reason that I'm writing is because I need some advice. Valentine's Day is only a few days away, and I'm going out with a guy for the first time on Valentine's night. You may think this is a dumb question, but I have seriously been stressing over it. Every time I have ever gone out with a guy for the first time, I always order a salad. I feel like they're going to judge me if I get something bigger. That's because they will. They probably will. My sister says that I'm nuts and that I should order whatever I want. I really like this guy and want this date to go perfectly. So what do you guys think?
Would you judge a girl if she ordered something bigger like a steak or a pasta on the very first date? Or would it leave a better impression if I just get the salad? Thanks, M1 salad lover. Get what you want. Eat what you want, dude. This is life. This is real life. I can only tell you what my experience as a guy is. But from my standpoint, I do not think more of a girl or even notice when she orders a salad. If that's what she likes. I will say for a first date, you want to avoid things like spaghetti or linguine. Or something that's dirty. Or garlic. Yeah, that might be a little bit messy or smelly. I always get the pasta. You do? I love it. I'm going to get the penne if possible. I mean, I'll make a joke. I'll probably slurp it all in my face. And they'll laugh. And it's fine. Sienna, do you think that a guy judges you by what you order on a first date? There's guys that do. No. There are guys that do. I don't believe that. Yes. Really? I think there are. I don't think there are either. Guys don't, they're not caring. See, that's what you ladies think. We don't care. You think that we care. We don't. No, but I mean, I would never order a salad because I was worried enough about it. If you were that kind of guy, I wouldn't want to be with you anyway. I think that's sexy that they, if they ordered like a big steak, I would love that. I think guys, I kind of would too. And a beer, I'd be like, oh my God. I wouldn't want her to order a beer because I would think that's kind of like.
farty but i would definitely order a beer i would not order a steak but not because of the portion size because i would feel bad ordering it yeah price yeah you believe though lauren that guys will judge you based on not all guys i don't think that's a i think a generalization is that they won't but there are definitely some out there that will I'll tell you one thing. I remember when I ordered the first date, I went on with Todd. And we went to an Italian place and I got pasta. And I remember, I was like, okay, I mean, I was proud. I got a pasta. I like pasta. But I made sure that I didn't finish it. Yeah, you say you leave a couple bites. I leave a couple bites because I will finish it. Can I tell you that Matt actually says he is attracted to my large appetite? Of berries and nuts? No. But it's because you're not overweight. You're skinny. That's why he doesn't care. Pack on about 50 pounds and we'll see how attractive he is to that appetite. No, but he says, he's like, I used to be with girls that would be worried about it and be like, oh, take little bites of things and like leave stuff left over. Right now I'm eating raw almonds and raisins. But last night I had Doritos. I work next door to Whole Foods. That's what you do. I work next door to Whole Foods.
This is so I don't eat all that crap while I'm on the air. I mean. Yeah. Like pizza and Doritos. Yeah, like pizza and Doritos. I had a Danish this morning. Listen. Mikey and I, we're going to be 500 pounds. I could have like 100 people call in and say, trust me. Eat what you dig. Get what you want. Men love it. They love it. They want it to show off. They either love it or they don't care. I'm not paying attention to what you're ordering. Although I remember, I can remember stuff. I know what all of you guys ordered last time we went to lunch. Creep. And I also know what you ordered when we went to breakfast. And I can tell Woodsy what he ordered the last time we went to eat. Why? What did we order last time we went to lunch? Both you and Lauren got the grilled cheese. All three of us, right? Yep. Don't help him. Kid got it too. And Jay ordered something weird. I know what it was. What was it? Turkey Sliders. No. Turkey Sliders. Yeah. Was it? I just remember he had the garlic fries and I was so jealous. That's so good. I had the regular ones. By the way, we're going to be picking what movie we're going to in a little bit. Let's not say we. Yeah, it's actually Woodsy. Well, it's Woodsy's week. It was supposed to be mine. Yeah, but you wanted to switch. So you switched with Woodsy. I was helping you guys out. Thank you. You're welcome. You're welcome. And so.
Every Wednesday we go see a movie and then we tell you what we thought of it on Thursday. That way you don't have to do the work. We'll tell you. You don't have to go see it. M1 college student's on the line. Hi. M1 college student, are you there? Yep, I'm here. Go ahead. So I think that when you go out on a first date with a girl that it's pretty polite when the guy orders the food for the woman. I don't know if that's rude or not. Ooh, you're dead. By the way, pal, you're dead. These two are about to get you. Really? Wait, okay, hold on, hold on, hold on. I'm not about to get him. To an extent, I agree with him, but... What? But... I think it's a good name. Okay, all right. I'm one college student. Do you mean, do you ask the girl what she wants, or do you pick for her? Of course. I'm cool with that. I'm cool with it. I mean... I think it's classy. Is this a date in today's time, or 1950? He's not picking her meal. Still, the lady will have. I'm going to say to Lauren, what are you going to have? Are you going to have the penne pasta? I have a mouth and a brain where I can order for myself. She's going to have the penne pasta and I'm going to have the steak. There's two women. There are women that feel that that's chivalrous. And there are women that go, what am I, an idiot? I can't speak. So do you open the door for yourself then on a first date? No. Okay.
I would if he did not extend his hand, but I happen to be dating a gentleman that opens the door for me. Say you're on a first date. Mm-hmm. And the guy doesn't open the door. Are you like, what a jerk. No. Okay. I would. Like, open the freaking door, dude. Yeah. You're a guy. Come on. Don't you have any manners? You must be so much stronger that I need you to open the door for me. Lauren is so complicated. She's a bra burner. I think it's nice if you're waiting on. She's a bra burner. She's a bra burner. The woman with a happy granola. With a side of yogurt on the side. The lady will have some grass clippings and some alfalfa. Do you have any twigs back there? I want some twigs. Barkless twigs. I will have the biggest plate of pasta that you got. Really? Yeah. With pine nuts and goat cheese. As long as it's not actual spaghetti, but spaghetti squash. It's wheat. It's wheat spaghetti. Yeah. Whole grain. Is that made from whey? Which way? Have you guys ever ordered for a girl? Absolutely. I'm telling you, I like it. I like it. Have you ever seen Fast Times at Richmond High? That's in the rules, dude. Hey, look at you, Ratna. The mode. Find out what the lady wants in order for the both of you. Hey, Ratna, you left this at my house. Well, I'm saying maybe for the first date, you shouldn't be so presumptuous. If you date someone that you see happens to like that, then go for it. First date.
I don't think so. She's right. I think it's a class move, though. First date, not first date. I think it's a power move. Definitely, I think it's a class move, 100%. But I wouldn't, if they didn't order for me, I would never think it was weird. Right. And again, ladies, we don't care if you order a salad. We don't think that you're dainty or that you're healthy because you, and we don't, furthermore, we don't care. I have a question. Okay. What if it's a blind date? And the girl shows up and maybe the guy's like, because it's one thing if he asks her on a date, you know he thinks you're cute and he's into you. But if it's a blind date, it's like, ooh. She probably can't read the menu. She can't see. If she can't see, I'm probably going to have to order for her anyway. They've never met before. And you're being inappropriate. Fine, we didn't understand that. I mean, if you're blind, I'll order for you when you said it. You can just tell. There's salad on here. There's some burgers. Just enjoy it. Just eat what I put in front of you. You won't know. Stop. M1 Drew. She has taste buds. M1 Drew just texted in 949 Mikey at gmail.com said, I hate when a girl orders salad because I want them to try. Well, I want to try what they ordered. Since I'm paying for it, he says. Oh, my God. Okay, wait, Lauren. Let's ask non-chivalrous Lauren who doesn't want the dude ordering for her.
Okay. That doesn't make me non-chivalrous. You don't like, listen, you have a brain, you have a mouth. Yeah. Right? Mm-hmm. So how do you feel on the first date when the check comes and dude doesn't reach for it? Yeah. Dude doesn't reach for the check or wants to go Dutch. Great question. You think he's an idiot? I guess it depends who initiated the date. If he asked me to go on a date and then isn't going to pick up the check. Oh, really? Yeah. Jabroni. Are you kidding me? So the only way that it would be acceptable to you that he's not paying for your meal is if you've, like most women do, ask him out. If I asked him out, I would reach for it. I would hope that he would say, come on now. Really? Come on now. Really? But have you ever asked anyone out? Of course not. Of course not. Never in my life would I even think about that. Of course not. Some girls do. Now, Rebecca had to with me, or it wouldn't have happened. I have a question, though, because Sienna's a debutante. Yes. So, did you take these etiquette classes? Of course I did. Is this covered? Of course. The man caves. Chapter four, hello. He pulls out the chair.
He pays. He opens the door. And it would be the polite thing to do if he ordered for you. However, you know, nowadays, it's not really a rule. Is that in the book, though? It's not necessarily a rule? It's in the book. What does the book say about you ordering? What do they say you should order? Whatever you want. A little raisin? No. Can I get one raisin? Can I get that braised, please? But you do need to use the proper silverware because they're there for a reason. That's right. And don't finish the raisin at the end of the night. Say, can I get this wrapped up? Would you wrap up the end of the raisin? Can you wrap it up like a swan in four? And men, do not take, on a first date, do not take any food home. Why? For the love of God, please don't take any food home. Can you wrap this up for me? What? It's lame. No way. That's being wasteful if you just toss it. I kind of agree. I never thought about that. When you just looked at the ceiling like, are you kidding me? Then you stink up the car. Jerry Seinfeld had a great, great line about that. He goes, you want to take food home? Might as well wrap your testicles up, too. No way. No way. Think about that guy in the rubble in Haiti for 27 days. What about that guy? He would have taken your leftovers. Absolutely. I don't think about that guy, though, when I'm on a date. Yeah. Most people don't. M1 Derek? Stinky. Yeah. Tell me what you think.
I think that this whole dating thing is crazy with all these different opinions out there. It's nerve-wracking as it is. It's so nerve-wracking. It is, dude. I mean, I'm just getting back to the dating thing. I'm in my late 30s, and here you have two girls with totally different opinions on the subject. It's true. It's a test the whole time you're out there. You've got to do what feels right. Every second of every day, brother, is going to be a test for you if you're back out there in the world. You know what you should do? Why don't we just go like this? Why don't we go, listen, I'd like to do something right now in regard to ordering. I think you're a really beautiful girl or we wouldn't be here. I'm not trying to insult you, though. I'm not trying to insult you, but I just want to know. Well, you think I'm a total D if I order. I think that's hilarious. You would think that was funny? Yes. Throw it out there. The overthinker, like you're going out with Larry David or something. It's like, I don't know. I don't know what to do. I don't know what's going to make me a complete donkey to you. It's your anniversary today, Mikey.
Imagine if you had to go out on a first date with somebody else tonight. Can you imagine? It would be torture. Just vomit. Well, that's why you've got to be yourself. Because if you're just playing charades on the first date and trying to do what you think she wants you to do, you're probably not going to be a good match. Lauren, you've made it very clear that I cannot just be myself. No, it's not true. You have basically said, listen. be what I want you to be. Sienna has said, be what I want you to be. No, I haven't. Very two different opinions. I'm saying, I said that they can order if they don't. whatever but there's some things that you have to do on a first date like open the door not necessarily the car door but you should but like when you're walking into a restaurant guy grab that door and open it for her that's different that's like i'd like you to go first instead of me i'm not going to turn my back on you you know the worst is when you're trying to open a door for a girl and it's a push door
And I always think, the way I heard. Like a circular push. No, no. Like instead of pulling it open so you can hold it open for her, the push door that opens. So here's the deal. I can see you. So like her nose smashes into the glass. So do I go in first and then hold the door from behind? Or do I do this move where I try to lean out with my arm and hold it? My arms are shaking. You step in and pull open. My arms are shaking because the door is so heavy. Then I want her to go in first. But then you have to put rose petals out on the ground. She has to arrive in a chariot. You should, okay, I'm really thinking about this. You should open the door, kind of like put your arm around her and walk through together while you're holding the door. And then dip her at the end. Grab her butt. Who cares? Yeah, she starts blowing her rape whistle because you put your hand in the small of her back. You're walking in a restaurant. No one's going to do that. These are the things that I thought about when I was dating. I was like, oh, my God, look at these giant heavy doors. I've got to push it up with my left hand. You can walk through and hold it. Where are you going on dates? The Emerald City? Yeah, like big steakhouses. Got my hand in the small of your back. Leave me alone.
Why are you touching me? Why are you touching me? I barely know you. I was trying to hold the door. Oh, my gosh. He's touching my bottom. I was just trying to hold the door. I thought I was being gentlemanly. If you're going on a date, she likes you. Not necessarily, dude. I've had a lot of first and last dates. M1 Mariana. I've been doing this for a very long time. I mean, I'm single, whatever. But, you know, it comes down to at the end of the day, it's like all guys. Most guys that have been out on a date, it's like you kind of have to go halfway because these days, guys, are so cheap. Like, they don't even want to pay for a movie. Like, it's really rare that you'll get a guy that will pay halfway. And that's usually a cheap guy. There is a bit of an affect in your voice. And I want to determine what it is. I don't care. I've given up. Don't give up. Hang on a second. Are you a Hispanic woman? I'm half. You're half Hispanic, half what? Half black. Half black, half Hispanic. Yeah. Because I can hear you getting so sassy with me, girl. Oh, yeah. You're getting so sassy. I love it. Can you imagine after four weeks where she feels comfortable, like, getting into the first argument with you? Oh, yeah. Okay. Creepy J. Mariana, thank you. Thank you. We love you. Dude, I'm so not cheap.
You can find so many guys that will pay at the first date. You've got all the wrong guys. M1 Molly, are you there? Yes. What were you going to say? Oh, about the guy with the salad? Yeah. How guys order salad. And the girl wants to order a burger. Oh, yeah. That's a bad move. A guy ordering? That's like the Seinfeld episode where he says, just a salad. Just a salad, yeah. Where a guy orders a salad? Yeah. When a guy wants to order a salad, you know, I have a boyfriend personally, and sometimes he just wants to order a salad. I want to order a burger. You know, sometimes a girl wants to order a burger, makes her feel like a pig. Yeah, that's your boyfriend, though. It's okay if it's your boyfriend. Yeah. Sienna and Lauren. Yeah. Burger it up. What would you guys think of a dude that on the first date? Ordered his salad. I would comment on it. I wouldn't be able to take that. I would say, really? Did you already eat or something? Yeah. I'd comment. And I would also comment if he ordered for me. Be like, you got that covered for me, bro? Wow. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. His heart just sank like.
I would retort. Yeah, and you're going to get half the bill, too. Because you want to run mouth? And the date would be over. Now you've got half the bill. How do you like that? Okay, guys. If you think that you feel like you should order, just say to her. Be like, do you know what you want? And then she'll say, yeah, I think I'm going to get this. And you'll be like, do you want me to just order it for you? Like, why can't you just say that? And she'll be like, oh, yeah, that'd be great. Or else she'll say, no, I got it. Because you sound like a dork. It's the same guy that goes, can I kiss you right now? It's not that guy. He's not that guy. Have you done it? Have you, Mikey? Have you? I have two. You guys have said that. I have two, dude. You said it. I've done it. I have done it. Have they ever said no? I've done it. Please don't. I have two, dude. I've only done it once. I did it once. What'd she say? What did she say? Yeah, I said yeah. My skin's crawling right now. I'm steamed out by myself. Why did she say that? Because I'm a dork and fat. How old are you? That's why. Okay? What do you want from me? I did it, too. I did it, too. Why? I was drunk, though. Oh, really? Yeah. It's because I was roofied at the time. It's the only reason. You were drinking roofie coladas all afternoon. That's right. I really wanted to kiss her. But you would think you would just go for it if that was the case. Yeah, because I've been rejected on the go-for-it move, and there's nothing worse. Stop. This is creeping me out. When they do the backup.
Oh, easy, bud. Lauren, you had a guy ever ask, can I kiss you? Yes. Did you say yes? Be honest. I said no. You did? Oh, God. And I shook his hand instead. Oh. I'm going to vomit. I'm going to vomit my hands right now. I feel like I'm going to cry. Poor bastard. That poor, poor man. Tell me what happened. What, like, set the whole scene. The whole thing. Okay. Well, we had gone on, I think, like two dates. And the first one, he went for the awkward lean in. And I was like, okay, thanks. Bye. And ran out of the car. You are so tough. I know. I feel so bad. I know. Her boyfriend now had to basically talk her into dating. Yeah. He had to sell her. He did a PowerPoint. Exactly. He did a PowerPoint for her. He said, click, first reasons we should date.
Listen, I'm clean, I'm attractive, I play the guitar, I write music. He goes, number three, don't have herpes. It says up on the screen, don't have herpes. Relatively disease-free. I'm a great cook. 90% chance I've never dated a guy. 90% chance. I love sunsets, walking on the beach. I am picky, as all of you out there should be. Well, first of all, I find it interesting that this was his second date, which means you liked him enough to go out with him again. No, I didn't. I didn't know how to say no. It was the guilt. Yeah. You gave him a pity. Yeah, because I felt like I was being, I had come out of a bad relationship, bad breakup, and I was kind of like. I'm not really into the whole dating thing, period. You know, it is. It's nerve-wracking for everybody. So then I was like, well, maybe I'm just being too hard on him. So let's go on another one. Same strikeout.
And how did it happen? Where was it? In the car outside my apartment. In the car. Both times. After the date. Yeah. After the date. First time, okay, first time I was like, I'll meet you there. He's like, no, I'll pick you up. And I was like, and then the second time. Can I just say this too, by the way? Imagine the first time he went in for the lean and she was like, okay, see ya. And she gets out of the car and his stomach drops and he's like, oh, I'm a dork. I'm an idiot. I'm an idiot. has to work up the courage for the second time. The whole time, the second date, he's thinking, I have to try again. I have to try again. I have to try again. How do I go about this? When's the best time to do it? Right. And so? I know. So what happened? Horrible. So I forget how we ended up in the same car the second time, but I knew all night it was coming. I knew it. I knew it. So I was just trying to look for the door handle and get out as soon as I could. And he stopped me. Oh, how did he stop it? Did he do the arm grab? Yes, the arm grab. Arm or elbow? Arm inside of elbow, inside of forearm. Exactly what Woods just did. Inside of forearm? Hand to forearm, yeah. Yeah, reached over the emergency brake. Yeah. And I was like, and he said, is it okay if I kiss you? Oh, God. I gotta go. I gotta go. I gotta go. I gotta go. I know. He tried the first time. It didn't work. She said yes on the date. Why can't he do it that time? Wait, wait, wait. Recreate.
The exact no. I said, no. Oh, my gosh. Like a puppy. The pity no. It's a pity no. And then I said, take care. And you shook his hand? Yeah. How come you just didn't shoot him? Yeah. Why didn't you just shoot him in the head? And people would have thought it was a mob hit. Why didn't you just do that? He went home, packed his apartment, and moved. Yeah, he moved. To Australia. He's living down under right now. He's a Kiwi in New Zealand. Dude, just sitting there drinking on the beach going, why did I do that? Still, right now. Why did I do that? It's like summer right now in Australia, and he's laying on a beach right now going, remember that girl Lauren? Why did I do that? He just keeps replaying, no. No. Oh, God. I know. Isn't that horrible? Sienna. What? Guys asked you, can I kiss you? Oh, I've been asked worse. What? May I make love to you? No. May I make love to you? I can't even say it. Oh, no. Motorboat? Write it down. No, I can say it. It's not inappropriate. I have to explain the situation. It was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life because it was never more awkward. Nothing more awkward. I got to have it. I want to do a whole segment on awkward moments. I was babysitting.
I was babysitting. Mikey's face just went, okay, weird. And this four-year-old goes, can I kiss you? No, the four-year-old's older brother, who's a year younger than me, came home from work early, and I was still there babysitting, and his parents were gone. And he's just, you know, yeah. And already I knew this guy, like, had a little crush, and he was nice. I was always nice to him, whatever. And I don't know what. Came over him. But we were sitting on the couch. The little girl was already sleeping. And he looked at me and said. That's hot. I can't even say it. Say it. Say it. Can you say it? Is it dirty? I can say it. Say it. I just don't want to. Say it. He looked at me. I'm sitting alone. I can't escape. I'm babysitting. Horrible. He looks at me and says. I have to take a swallow. Do you want to get crazy? No. My jaw just dropped open. My jaw just dropped open. Do you want to get crazy? I laughed. I said, are you kidding? I'm babysitting your sister. I know. You want to get crazy? He did. What had you said right before then? I didn't say it. I think we were watching Home Improvement or something. And so right out of nowhere. Yes! What did you say?
I laughed and I said, no, I'm babysitting your sister. Okay. But another time. Wait, wait, wait. Another question. What? Would you like to go to Kmart and buy some condoms? No. Okay, fine. No, I would not like any prophylactics of any sort. I have another question. What? Do you want to do some real nasty, dirty stuff? So gross. Do you want to? Get crazy. Do you know, every single one of my friends knows that story and just is, I can't believe it. Do you want to get crazy? No, thank you. I think I'll pass. No, wait, wait, wait. Now, here's my question, too. Like, best case scenario. Oh, yeah. Like, what's best case? It's risk versus reward, dude. I mean, how did he, if he had his best case scenario, what would he have going in his mind in best case scenario? She's like, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Let's do this. Let's do it. I'm so gross now, and I still see him to this day. Are you serious? Yes. He's sitting there looking all crazy. I'm saying, what's wrong, baby? You want to get crazy. Hey, and by the way, at our first appearance that we do,
Nobody wear a t-shirt that you had made that says, hey, Sienna, do you want to get crazy? Nobody did because that would be ridiculous, okay? That would be ridiculous. I'm all haunted. And you want to know what else? It would also be ridiculous to, like, send us pictures that have been photoshopped with us wearing t-shirts that say, hey, Sienna, do you want to get crazy? Why do you do this to me? Every time I hear the word crazy, I'm like, ugh. Crazy. Go to FM949SD.com. You can become an FM949 insider and get event invitations. We're talking about chivalry and whether or not guys should open doors for girls. My chair is the sixth character on the show. We'd also like to introduce Lauren's chair, Jaime. M1 Dan says, Mikey, what about on the other end of the spectrum when she orders lobster and a high-dollar glass of wine on a first date? That is tough. You know what needs to come out of that. What? You know. What? I just got it. He should be rewarded for paying for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It took me a second to even get. what that filthy brain was trying to think up. And I was like, listen, go ahead and order what you like. It's going to cost you. Gross. Yeah, if a girl ordered high dollar stuff on a first date, I wouldn't go out with her again. That I would judge. Yeah, I would judge. That I would judge. Because that shows a lack of tact. She's set in the bar. Yeah, way too high.
This guy says, this is M1's surf and puff. What does that mean? I don't know. Surf and puffs. He says, dude, if the woman is hot, she can order what she wants. I make a first date as comfortable as possible. I'm laid back and women seem to dig it. It's because he's been puffing. And surfing. Mm-hmm. What about lunatics like Mikey and I, though, that aren't laid back at all? Not at all. Not even close. Wound up so tight we're about to break a spring. Nervous Purvis. Nervous Purvis. Neurotic heads. Yep. M1 Abe says, Mikey, I've been with my wife for over five years. Okay, show off. Me too. It's our anniversary. Happy anniversary, darling. It says, I open every door for her every single time. It's just a man law, bro. Nice. Todd stopped doing that a while ago. He still opens doors when we go in places. But sometimes I'm like, why won't you just open my car doors sometimes? I know, I don't. Get out of my face with that. I open the car door every once in a while. Matt tried, but Lauren slammed his hand in the door. I can do it myself. He opens it every time. I can do it myself. Yeah, Lauren's like, I'm not on crutches. Yeah.
Do I look like I have nubs for hands? I can open the door. See, these are called fingers. See, I did think that at first, and then I was like, oh, it's kind of cute. Oh, really? Yeah. After three years. She's actually a Rubik's Cube. I know. My goodness. Okay, cell phone companies. Something that they do that will surprise you. Their big, dirty secret. Well, last month, Verizon and AT&T lowered their unlimited voice plans by $30. Sprint has also lowered their unlimited voice plans, and so has T-Mobile. But what they have raised, and they are not telling you, are their data plan costs. Now, if you're not a smartphone user, so if you have a regular phone that's not like a BlackBerry or an iPhone, your data... plan costs are getting moved up like $10 per month. Perfect. Those plans are killing me. Yeah, it's just little things like that. Do you use it? Mm-hmm. Use the internet on your phone? Yeah. Yeah, so they're kind of just sneaking all that stuff. Wait, I don't have unlimited internet on my phone? You probably do. You probably do. I do. I signed up for that. Okay, I think I did too. But for people that don't have a smartphone like a BlackBerry, you have to be given that option. Oh, yeah. You know? Some people think they automatically have it, but they don't. How about iPhone? I love it.
Love it. It's messed up right now. I go with the BlackBerry. Can somebody tell me, by the way, if you have the iPhone 3GS, does it actually say 3GS up at the top of it where it says AT&T? Because mine just says 3G, so maybe I don't have the 3GS. Mine just says 3G. You better upgrade, Mike. It's time to upgrade. We'll head over to the Apple store. You can't be having a less than model. If the 3GS is out there and I don't have it, I got it. You got to get it. It has a spoiler on it? Yeah. Is that the difference? I got to get a spoiler and some NOS put on it. Wheels pop out and you can use it as a race car. Mm-hmm. You ready for Woodsy to pick a movie? No. Wednesdays, we all see a movie as a show. We go to the movie. I feel like I'm going to trust his opinion. Well, first read what the choices are. Okay, here are the choices. Alvin and the Chipmunks. The Squeakquel. The Squeakquel. Love it. Avatar 3D. Right. Daybreakers, whatever that is. Dear John, Edge of Darkness from Paris with Love, It's Complicated. The Lovely Bones, Sherlock Holmes, The Spy Next Door, To Save a Life, The Tooth Fairy, Up in the Air, When in Rome, Youth in Revolt, World Opera in Cinema, The Blind Side, Extraordinary Measures, Leap Year, and Legion are our choices today. That's a lot of movies. So about 10 years ago, I was flying to Australia with my family.
And I was in the bookstore of the airport. And I looked in. I was looking for a new book. And I picked up a book. And I said, interesting cover. I read the back. I said, I'm in. I read that book for 22 hours. I finished it by the time we touched down. The book was called King Kong. And that book, my friend, was called Youth in Revolt. And that is what we are seeing today. Who's in it? Yeah. Michael Cera's in it. I love Michael Cera. Zach Galifianakis is in it. That's the guy I believe. From The Hangover. Steve Buscemi's in it. And I'm really looking forward to it because I read the book. It's incredible. Really? Is it a drama? No. It's a comedy. Dark comedy? It's a dark comedy. Youth and Revolt. Youth and Revolt. Okay. That's where we're going. That's great. Can you say it like that again? That's where we're going. Mark that. Mark that. All right. What else we got going on? So we'll see that today. The creepy thing that the babysitter... Hey, Mikey. Do you want to get crazy? Do you want to get crazy? Somebody said that. What's up, Mike? Hey, Dave Matthews is here, everybody. Whoa. What's up, my brother? What's up, Dave? I was listening to the Sienna talk about some of her experiences when she was young, and I came up with a new song. Dave, where were you? You heard that? I've been under the board for the last week.
You were in there the whole time? I've been high as a kite. Okay, well, you don't have to say that. I was wondering what that smell was. Yeah, you know what that smell is. It's ridiculous. I wrote a new song for you about your experience. Oh, no. It's really cool, Dave Matthews. You wrote a song for me. Love it. I feel kind of special. Cool, Sienna. Sienna, do you want to get crazy out of me now? I love you. Dave, can you hear me? Yo. Remember last time you came in, it was last week. I think you came in last week, like Tuesday. No. You don't remember that? No. Okay, you did. And when you did, you sang these stupid lyrics. And I was like, hey, dude, if we're on the radio, don't sing the dumb stuff. You calling my lyrics stupid? Not stupid and like, you know, like non-intelligent. Just like, you know, we're on the radio. They need to be appropriate. Appropriate. Yeah. Appropriate. So can I pick it up from Juggs? No, don't say that part. That's the part I had the issue with. Keep that part out. Your giant breasts. No, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave. Time out, time out. Time out. Same thing. Don't even, you don't have to go there in terms of content. You don't have to say that. I thought you said I just couldn't say Juggs. No, no, no. I don't want you to, let's not even talk about it anymore. I don't need you to talk about her.
Stuff. How can you not go there? It's personal. It's personal space. Here we go. Here we go. I feel loved. Those bumps on your chest. Dave. Yeah? Two seconds ago, I go, hey, bro, don't even talk about her. Don't talk about her body. Is that clear? Don't talk about her body. I got nothing else. What do you mean? I am full of all kinds of wonderful things. That's all you have to sing about. That's all you can sing about me? That's all you have to sing about. What about my eyes or my hair or something else? You're a creative guy, Dave. There's something else you can say or do. Come on, Dave. Hey, Dave, she's getting married. I'm getting married. In like two weeks. Two weeks she's getting married. Your giant breasts. No, no, no, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave. Hello? Dave? The whole song, though.
It's about the same thing. You're singing about the same thing. Sing about her wedding. Why don't you say something nice about her wedding? Yeah, give me a wedding song. You're marrying Uncle Joey. Love him. I love him too. His name is Todd. That's all I got. That's beautiful. I'm going to go back to bed. Thank you, Dave. It reeks like marijuana. It's so strong. I thought it was skunk. I thought a skunk came into the room and sprayed in the room. Yeah, it turns out it was Dave Matthews. It turns out it was Dave. Michael Bublé. I said Bublé. Did you say Bublé? I said Bublé. What are you, Dave Matthews? I can't say jugs, but you can say Bublé. Michael Bublé is a singer, and he sings like, you know, he's a crooner. You Haven't Met Me Yet play it. It's the best. You Haven't Met Me Yet? Yeah.
Is it a new one? It's a new one. It's relatively new. Okay. Michael Bublé? Maybe it's You Just Haven't Met Me Yet. Do you like him? I love the boob. He was just in San Diego. So do I. So do I. We're all in. Everybody's in. He was just in San Diego. I'm in too. Haven't met you yet. We know you're in Dave. It sounds like this. Work it out. Out. Out. Out. I like Michael Buble when he imitates Frank Sinatra in Croons. Yeah, he's great. I don't like when he tries to do pop music. Is that a new song that we're listening to? It's relatively new. It's a new one. It's actually like everything I've ever heard. I like when he does this. Home. Oh, I cry at this song. Really? I'm crying inside right now. Oh, look at it. Look at Sienna's got her hand over her face. I will. I'll cry. It's really pretty. Is this going to be your first dance song? No. I'll cry. I think it's really pretty.
Sienna is like the softest softie in the world. Besides me. Besides you. Yeah. She can cry. I will. I can't. She's crying. What? Sitting in between two softies here. That's right. The coldest heart in the world. Yeah. Right in front of you. Two big softies. He's getting married, Michael Bublé, to a beautiful woman. I think she's from like Columbia. Didn't he cheat on somebody? No, no. We don't talk rumor. Nice way to turn that around. Didn't he fornicate with another woman? This is the cold heart. Doesn't he have some really weird pictures on his computer? He's getting married to a beautiful girl. She's like Miss Venezuela or something. Anyway, he will be carrying the Olympic torch in Vancouver tomorrow. Michael Bublé. That's the best they could do. Why Michael Bublé? Green Latifah wasn't available apparently. Fresh off her Super Bowl. Neither was Michael Anthony Hall. Apparently. They're like, I can't get Michael Anthony Hall. Let's get Michael Buble then. You're upsetting me. You're upsetting me. Arnold Schwarzenegger is also going to be carrying the torch on Friday morning. Really? He'll carry that with pride. All right. Let's see. New Laverne and Shirley show might be in the works.
This is awesome. How about that, man? I love that. Gary Marshall, who is Penny Marshall. Was Penny Marshall Laverne? Yeah, Laverne. Well, Gary Marshall, her brother, he just directed, I believe, Valentine's Day. Yeah. I don't know if he directed. Somehow he was involved in the Valentine's Day movie. He's a movie director. Yeah. And so he was at the premiere of Valentine's Day earlier this week, and he announced that he wants to do a revamp of the show Laverne and Shirley. And guess who he wants to star as the main girls? Who? Jennifer Gardner and Jessica Biel. Really? Someone told me I sound like Jessica Biel the other day. I love Jessica Biel. Schlamazel. Thompson, Thompson, Thompson. So it's a movie or a show? Thompson, Thompson Incorporated. It's a new show, right? New TV show or movie? They're working on it. I think they're going to do it as a show. And he said that we're working on it right now. My sister Penny and Cindy are going to have a guest cameo. Maybe it is a movie. They're going to play the grandmothers of Laverne and Shirley. He says he wants to revamp the hit TV shows, but he doesn't, yeah, he doesn't say if it's a movie or a TV show. What are they saying here? Schlemiel, Schlemazel. Schlemiel, Schlemazel. Half of time incorporated. So that would be Jennifer. Hans and Franz Incorporated. Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel. Great. They're saying Hans and Franz Incorporated. Hans and Franz Incorporated. He had to pump you up. He says he wants Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel to do that, and then he says he thinks that they're going to get tired in the middle and sit down. That'll be funny.
Give us any chance, we'll take it. Read us any rule, we'll break it. Sounds like the kid. I would love to go back to this style. Yeah. Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley. That style of theme song. I used to watch that show like every weeknight and I never knew what they were saying except for incorporated. Yeah, it's the only part. I just make up new words every time. Straight ahead and on the track now. Manjastic. 70s was all about the independent woman. Nothing's going to turn us back. Straight ahead on the track. Yeah, Lauren. I would have fit in good then. Really good. They worked in a beer bottling factory in Milwaukee. In Milwaukee. They're best friends with a guy named Squiggy. Yeah. And Lenny. Really interesting because Jeffrey Dahmer had a very similar life in Milwaukee. In Milwaukee. The Big Ragu. Of Carmine. Carmine. Amazing. Carmine Rigosa. Yeah.
Is that squeaky? No. It was a big ragu. Who is he dating? Laverne or Shirley? Shirley. Shirley. Laverne didn't date really attractive. Laverne was the hotter one. No, Shirley. I thought she was like tan and had the better bod. She wouldn't look like she got hit in the face with a frying pan. Okay, that's not necessarily necessary. She always had the L on her shirts. Yes. I loved that. My mom bought my sister and I sweaters. I had the L and my sister had a C and I rocked that thing until it had like holes and was three sizes too small for me because I was like, I'm a bird. For real? Yeah, for real. That was when you lived in New Jersey, right? Oh, yeah. Yeah. You can't get away with that in San Diego. I don't think the L on the sweater. An L on the sweater in 86? It was cool. Oh, in 86. Yeah. I don't really remember. 86 was only one. But I do remember the L sweaters being around. Thanks for that, by the way. Yeah. No kidding. Yeah. Well, back in 75, it was all the rage. My fiance was alive then.
Your fiancé was 20 in 1975. 37 or something. He's paying off his first mortgage. I think he might have been. I think he might have been. How about this theme song, Woodsy? You know what it is already? Love Boat. You got it. It's a great show, dude. Never got into it. Love Boat? It was brilliant. Let's see who can name this one the fastest. I'm going to give it to you. You see if you can name it. Woods, Fantasy Island. Treasure Island. Oh. Nice work. You're a treasure island. I know. Useless knowledge. I'm filled with it. That's amazing. That was awesome. Wow. All right. Try this one. Say your name. Woods. Great American Hero. Greatest American Hero. Greatest American Hero. You got it. Again, I wasn't alive during any of these. This is not fair. You can take your bathroom break now if you want. Just clock out. I know. I may need to. Hey, aren't timesheets due today, by the way? Oh. Are they due today? 217. I don't know. What's today? No, next week. No, they're due. I thought we had to do it every week. Due, 2-17. Oh, no, they're two-week time cards. We're good. I haven't filled out a time card since I worked at Domino's. 2-17 is next Wednesday. I swear they're due today. I'm going to double check. I'll double check. Remember, we did it ahead up until Monday. Oh, you're right. Or Sienna did it for us. Brilliant. I got you guys. Do we have to sign anybody? No, the 17th, you will. I'm so confused. Let's see. What else is going on?
Oh, man, this means a lot to a lot of people because everybody's into that show Deadliest Catch. Yeah. The star of that TV show passed away at 53 years old. Sad. Very sad. Yeah. He was a gruff old dude. Now I can't find my story. I know he was like the captain of the boat. He was the main dude. Yeah, Phil Harris. He's the captain of the boat. People loved him. He's been on the show for years. He's had health conditions for a really long time, but he just died yesterday after suffering a stroke from a stroke last month. He's only 53. Those semen live pretty hard, dude. That's right. Those guys, they live pretty hard. He had, like, tattoos, and he was the man who would say anything on his mind. Guy loved to blast cigs real good. So he will be missed. Captain Phil Harris. Got a teenager? Careful of sexting. It's back. Yeesh. Got a whole story about sexting? You can call us if you want to. 570-1949 is the number. Now back to the Mikey Show on FM 94.9. It's possible I like the new Facebook. I don't like it. You guys are afraid of change. No. What do you like about it? I just looked at my inbox of, you know, like, and it was real easy to see what else was going on from the inbox. And I could very easily switch to other stuff from it. I think you're using inbox term wrong. What am I talking about then? Your notifications. No, you know, when people write me emails. Oh. That thing? That is inbox, right? And it tells you other things that are going on? Yeah. If I go to my inbox, I think I'm calling it the right thing. But you know what I'm having a problem doing? Finding the inbox from my profile. Yeah. Which I used to be able to do instantly. Dude, it's a pain. It is. Now I have to go to the homepage just to find my Facebook inbox. Jeez. That bothers me. Forget it. I don't like it. Now we're all clicking away. Yeah. I'm shutting the mother down over here.
You have to. You just keep looking at it. Facebook has probably really lowered productivity amongst all companies in the world. Oh, my God. Right? The good thing for us when I was a recruiter is we'd be like, listen, we use it to recruit. So if you walk by our desk and we're on Facebook, that's why. Really? And we did. We actually did. I remember when Facebook was nothing. Yes. It was, like, lame. MySpace was everything. And, like, Facebook was like, whatever. And then one day. My wife was like, I hate MySpace. I will never be on MySpace. She's, like, Facebook queen now. Well, a lot of people were, like, vehemently opposed. It was very creepy, MySpace, I thought. Well, MySpace now is, like, nobody's. Do people still do MySpace? I think I creeped a lot of girls on MySpace. Well, they're introducing the lineup for the Bonnaroo lineup. You have to go on MySpace to see. Yeah, at least initially. Why isn't any cool band going, no, you do that on Facebook? Right. Maybe MySpace paid a lot of money to do that. It's very weird, though. I have songs that I like and videos and stuff, but it's not really functional for that. Yeah, MySpace is still a place for music like that. Absolutely. It's like MTV doesn't show music videos anymore. No, not in 15 years. Yeah, it's a reality show. Except for early, early in the morning.
They do? Mm-hmm. It's all hip-hop. How do you watch videos in the world now? YouTube. They'll do premieres on MTV, like the world premiere, you know? Can't watch them. Jay-Z and Rihanna. Yeah. Great. They cost so much to make, I don't even see why people are really making them that much anymore. What's the point? Because we don't see them. Dude, people aren't even making records anymore. Radiohead sold their last album all online. And it wasn't at all just donation. And you could name your price. How cool is that? That's cool. You wanted a price. You wanted to pay a dollar for it? You paid a dollar. You paid what you thought it was worth. That's dumb. Is it? No, it worked. That's brilliant. Really, they made a lot of money? They made a ton of money. They cut out all the distributors and the record company fees and the A&R guy talent. Who's going to pay more than a dollar? A lot of people paid like $100 and stuff. Because if they're huge head heads, as you'd call them, radio head. Heads. Headheads. I like that. They would pay $100. They would pay what they thought it was worth, yeah. It's pretty cool. Yeah. I mean, as a music fan. I'm in shock. As a rabid music fan. Yeah. I love it. Yeah. I love it. I just didn't think something like that would work. It worked well. Worked very well. They ended up actually finally making a CD out of it. But for the first, I don't know how long. I mean, that's the only way he could get it. It was online. Digital. Name your price, pal. Parents are being warned about sexting.
It's getting bigger and bigger. Teenagers sexting. Take their phones away. If you don't know what sexting is, it's when you send a camera image of a naked body part. Oh, so it's not sexy talk through text. It can be, but the main sexting is the pictures. Because all these teenagers that are doing it, which 20% admit that they do it a lot. 20% now. I mean, it's a high figure. Yeah. To be sending pictures of your naked body through a phone. A lot of dirty kids. They're naked? They're actually nude? Yeah, they send naked parts. Like, girls will send pictures of their chest. Okay, girls, guys, all you sexters, those pictures are going to come back when you're 29, and you're going to look like a dirty pervert. Yep. If you are underage with those pictures on your phone, could you have, like... Yeah, 100%. Well, that's what people are saying. And it's funny. One of the teenagers that was interviewed says, well, it's not child pornography if we're not sending it to someone over the age of 18. Is that the truth or is that? I mean, that's what he said. They didn't say whether it's the truth or not. But either way, it's inappropriate. They're saying experts are saying parents need to be talking to their kids and telling them, look, just because you're sending it through a phone to one person doesn't mean it's just going to that one person.
Well, like millions of, tens of millions of people. My phone's all the way over there. Whose cell phone device is making that? It's not mine. Mine's off. Maybe it was mine. Was it? I don't know. It's not doing it anymore. They say that the, who do you use? What carrier? Yeah. I use Verizon. Really? Me too. Can you hear me now? No. You look like that guy. Can you hear me now? These two clown kids one time pulled up next to me, rolled the window down and go, can you hear me now? I almost rammed my car into them. First of all, I'm Jared. Okay? I'm Jared from Subway to get it right. You look like so many people. You do. You do. You look like Vince Vaughn, Robert Downey Jr. Jared. You look like Jared from Subway. And Verizon. And the Verizon guy. No, and what's his name? Johnny Knoxville. No, you do. But Paul Blart. I did not Paul Blart. If you had a mustache and you were heavier, you would be Paul Blart. Mall Cop.
Hey, TomTom lady, who do you think that Woodsy looks the most like because you're in his car all the time? I would have to say that he looks like a combination of all of them, Mikey. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, that's true. That's true, TomTom lady. He kind of does. It's like mashing them all together. I don't want to make him angry or he'll turn me off again and say he wants the male voice. Cut me a little slack, okay? Kids having a rough time adjusting out here. That's right, Tom Tom lady. I need you to make my life easier, not harder. Yeah, you're just supposed to tell him where he's supposed to go. I constantly try to tell him, and he just keeps saying, kid doesn't want to be told what to do. That's kind of my catchphrase. I can't win my key. Is it true? Do you say that to her? I do. We have a really good banter. Yeah, you do? Back and forth all day. I'm screaming at her trying to find out where I'm going. All I wanted was a Walgreens. He screams like a little girl. Really? You know different. Is that true? You know better. Oh, really? You know better. Tom Tom lady said that you can't make up your mind, that you don't know where you're going, and that you scream like a little girl. That's what she said. I don't scream like a girl. The rest is true. All right. He screams kind of like Taylor Hicks. Okay, fair enough. So, yeah, a little girl. Taylor Hicks is tough. Taylor Hicks. Wait a minute, Tom Tom lady.
Taylor Hicks was the guy that won American Idol. Exactly. Didn't you mean Taylor Swift? Weren't you trying to say Taylor Swift? I meant Taylor Hicks, Mikey. You guys were talking about American Idol, no? Taylor Hicks. I don't think I've ever heard him scream. You know who he is? Gray hair. Yeah, I kind of look like him too. He's kind of chubby. He sings a bit like a woman. Stop pulling on your gobbler. Perhaps you prefer Clay Aiken. You know better. Maybe you do. You of all people know better. Maybe you do. She knows what kind of music I listen to in my car. Really? Yes. I was talking to Mikey. Oh, yeah, for sure. Then, yeah, Mikey has some Taylor Hicks and Clay Aiken in his car. Guaranteed.
I don't have Clay Aiken in my car. I have Clay Aiken. Taylor Hicks, maybe. Who does? I do. You have Clay Aiken? I think so. Get out of here. Wait, no. Cannot compute. Cannot compute. No, not Clay Aiken. I have, what was his name? He was really short. Mikey. No. Elliot Yamin. Oh, yeah, dude. He's awesome. And it's not Elliot Yamin. Elliot Yamin. Elliot Yamin. Who? Elgin Yamin. Dude, you don't know. He was like number four. He was a dude I thought that should have won American Idol the year that he was on it. He got the best makeover of all time. I'm getting tired head. Come on, man. What's this called? Wait For You is a good one. All right. I have no idea who this person is. That's Billy Joel. He has a beautiful voice. Dude, he's got the greatest voice. Let's hear it. I want to hear it. I'm going to be open-minded from now on. Okay, fine. If you're going to be open-minded, I'm going to give you him doing Motown. Done. I love Motown. Love Motown. I'm out. Put the other one back on. Come on. All right, how about this one? No, definitely not. I like one called Trainwreck, too. That's what this is becoming. That's not it. Put the piano one on. This one. Out. Come on, wait. Listen to his voice, bro.
That's so original. Nobody sings like that anymore. You do. Come on. You know that. No. The piano one, I agree, was probably the best bet. What was that one? The first one you did. Wait for you? Yeah, that sounds better. All right. You just said no. We already played it. Yes, you did. Get this voice, you tell me. You get this voice, you tell me what you think. Love the piano. It's the first one we played. I know. I was in on that, and he changed it. I did. Yeah, I did. Why would you do that mic? Run that back. I'm dumb. As soon as the beat kicked in, it was ruined. You don't like it? No. That's good. They had bands like this, dude, back in the 80s. It's called New Edition. Okay? And I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now. If I wanted to listen to New Edition, I'd listen to New Edition. What's wrong with New Edition, by the way? I like New Edition. Belle Biv DeVoe. I like Belle Biv DeVoe. That girl is awesome. It's good. Who doesn't like Belle Biv DeVoe? This is like the Boomerang soundtrack. I know, right? It's good stuff, man. It's beautiful. Moving on. Ashton Kutcher apparently went on the last Jay Leno show. I don't know if you know that. Jay Leno is officially done. And the reason he's done is because he had terrible ratings at 9 o'clock at night. So Ashton Kutcher came on the show. I know. This is the last show.
And I felt like it was fitting that I came out on the last show to reveal that this whole Tonight Show, earlier show thing was a punk. Oh, really? Very elaborate. Six years ago, I sat in an office at NBC. Unfortunately, we forgot to roll the cameras, and so I don't have any of the tape, but I thought I'd come out and do the reveal. Right, right. Well, wow, that's fantastic. You did a hell of a job. I know, it was so silly, and everybody believed it, like, oh, my God. The Conan was like, and going angry and doing Irish accents. Well, I'm glad it's over. Yeah, I know. Isn't the term punked over? Yes. Can we really quick just go around and say what you think of Ashton Kutcher? Like or dislike? No opinion. Wouldn't say if I didn't like him anyway. Dislike. Why? He is just, I used to like him, but now he tries, ever since he married Jimmy Moore, I'm sorry, I'm out.
That bothered? Wait a minute. Why? Was it because she was much older? No, no, because I'm in the same boat. We all know. No, but he just, I don't know. He acts like a little, ah. DB? And he thinks he's, yes, a DB. And he just thinks he's like really hot, this underwear model. Like you can. Dave Bathews. Yes, Dave Bathews. DB. Rhymes with boosh. He screams too much. Yeah, he's just like, oh, I'm so funny and I make videos and I'm the camera guy. You know what he said to Zach Galifianakis? What? When they were doing this movie, What Happens in Vegas, Galifianakis was in it briefly. He needed the paycheck, I think. The Cameron Diaz movie? Yeah, Kutcher came to him and said, well, dude, you must be funny if you made the Kutch laugh. Really? Can you believe that? That's what a clown that guy is. The Kutch. Sounds like something that someone in the studio knows. He's just like, to be on Leno's last show, it's like, really? M1 Sparks. Yeah, this is me. What's going on, dude? Hey, not a lot, man. Just listening to the show. Great show this morning, by the way. Thank you. Thank you. Hey, just want to let you all know that I've been following you on the stick cam site, and I was actually thinking about getting into Google Talk.
and then saw that you guys were up on stick cam, so I got a site now on there, and it's pretty cool to watch you guys in here at the same time. Thank you, man. Yeah, if people want to see us on camera, you can go to MikeyShow.com, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com, and it says webcam, and you can actually just watch us. A guy like you could actually get on and watch us. All you got to do is click webcam. It's easy. It's really easy. Very easy to do. And we got a lot of them in here. First of all, we all have one on us. But then we also have a couple of separate cameras that you can click on that will give you a different view. I forget that I'm on it sometimes. Oh, I forget too. MacGyver hooked it up. My mom gets mad at me if she sees me chewing with my mouth open. She does? Yeah, she's like, Sienna, you're on camera. Dude, I dip snuff on the air. My parents are like, oh, God. Somebody texted in. They said, oh, it's so great to watch Woods dip on camera. Spit in a bottle. Spit brown juice in a bottle. Here's Beyonce on Jersey Shore. Is there any reality show, anything you watch, a guilty pleasure? I was just watching the marathon of what are the kids?
On the Jersey Shore? No. Stop it. And? It was hilarious. She pretended she didn't know the name of the television. I thought the same exact thing. What is the name of those kids? Those guys. You know what's funny about that is everybody listening thought the same thing. Self-explanatory. Jersey Shore. Why pretend you don't know? Why not just say you know? Because. You don't want to look uncool. She's making people know I've watched it, but I don't watch it. Right. You know? I saw it. I happened across it, and I found it. Get over yourself. Beyonce. Beyonce. I do like Beyonce. Just throw that out there. You have to edit yourself for the people that you say that you don't like. I know. Well, I felt bad after I said I didn't like Ashton Kutcher because, you know, I want to like everyone, but he's just annoying. He's kind of a little cheesy. Yeah. Over the top. Yeah, anybody that refers to himself in the third person. I mean, come on. The kid would never do that. The kid would never do that. Ever. It's just ridiculous. Sean would never do it. Sean knows better. Well, yeah, Sean's a real cool guy. He used to be my sound effects guy, and he's a good friend of mine. I got a picture of him on my desk. Yeah, Amigos. Yeah, he's wearing a Mexican wrestler mask and says Amigos. Yeah, just keeping his heat warm for him.
Why do you say that? Why do you have to say, like, every time his name comes up, you got to say, it's like... He's the best. He's, like, the funniest guy. He's, like, so talented. He's great. He's perfect. You're not... There's no competition between you and me. You are sitting in the chair. You're good. Yeah, we get a lot of texts and emails that say, hey, how come... Yeah, every day on my Facebook. Why isn't Sean on the show? Why isn't Sean there? Why isn't Sean there? Hey, that doesn't mean that we don't love you. We love you very much, and we're very glad that you're... That kid's the fifth choice out of five. Oh. This is M1MC. This is M1MC. Meldog. Meldog. Meldog. M1 Meldog. How are you, Meldog? How are you guys doing? Welcome back. Doing good. She's from Jersey and she was trying to get on that show Jersey Shore. She couldn't make it. Mickey. Yeah, it's Mikey. Oh, Mikey. Sorry. Sorry. Did you guys watch the Super Bowl? Yes. Of course. Yeah.
I just want to let you know that me and my crew went down to Miami. You call your friends your crew? Yeah. I'm only asking because I don't necessarily know all the lingo and all that stuff. Yeah, they're my crew. Uh-huh. We fist pump together. Okay. We go tanning together. Yeah. We often do laundry together. You do? Yeah. As a group? Yeah, we do everything together. We're the crew. So you guys went down to Miami for the Super Bowl? We went down to Miami, Mickey, and we partied. Hard. It's Mikey, but you partied hard. Who's Mikey? Yeah. Oh, sorry, Mikey, Mikey. Mikey, Mikey. We partied hard. Is my girl Sierra Mist there? Yeah, Sienna Mist is here. My name is Sienna. Sienna. Sienna. She called you Sierra Mist. What about Woodsy Boy? Woodsy's here. You know that. Yeah. So, Mikey. Yeah. We partied so hard. Like, how hard did you party? Well, we started on the floor. Yeah. Miss punched it all the way to the ceiling. Right. What? And you know that Eli Manning was in the Super Bowl. Yeah, you know, it wasn't Eli, actually. It was his brother, Peyton. Peyton Manning was in the Super Bowl. Whatever. Eli lives in New Jersey. He was down there partying hard, partying the hardest. I actually have a photo of me and Eli. Actually, well, it's like Eli's hand and my hand. Yeah. And I could send it. Do you think that that would be a good thing for the website? Not really, because it would just be a picture of two hands. You can't really prove that it's Eli either. You can't prove that it's Eli. Well, really, MC.
It could be anyone's hand. Right. It could be my hand and Sierra's hand. It could be Sierra Miss's hand. My name is Sienna. It could be my hand, Mikey, because it's tan. And I got my nails done. Yeah, what color? Last time, I think I told you I had cherry red. Right. Now I have berry razzle. Berry razzle. Wow, that's awesome. Yeah, looking good, Mikey. Yeah, you tan? Yeah, of course. Yeah, are you blonde or brunette? I forgot. I'm brunette, and I have a poof. I brought the poof to Jersey. Snooki doesn't know anything about poof. Do you know what a poof is, Mike? She knows it. It's like when girls put a ponytail, their hair up, and it's like a big poof in the front, like right here. Oh, wow. It's like that bump on the head. Do you have a skunk stripe, too? It's a what? Like the white skunk stripe? It's a what, by the way. Sometimes I put the extensions in my hair, and they're like, there's white, there's pink. It's whatever I feel like doing that day, Woodsy. What's the hottest guy to you again? He's got to be Italian. Right. I really like gorillas, which are just huge, muscly, can have to be Italian, like I said, and just bulging. Just bulging gorilla men. Do you like when they wear tank tops? I'd rather they have no shirt, but if anything, I would like a tank top. Piercings and stuff? Do you like the piercings? I like tattoos better than piercings if I had to choose something. Who wouldn't?
Well, thank you. Thank you very much for calling in. That's MC Meldog. MC Meldog, signing off. Love her. Calling in to ask if it would be okay to send in a picture of her and Eli Manning's hand. Which wouldn't really work that good because it would just be a picture of a couple of hands and so you don't... I mean... How would you possibly know? Crap shoot. Lauren just got back to the studio. Yeah, what'd I miss? MC Meldog called in while you were gone. Who's MC Meldog? Spice Girl? She's one of the Spice Girls. Hey, I got something for you. Did you know that in Italy, they have McDonald's everywhere. Did you know that in Italy, there is an issue right now with one of the new burgers? The McItaly Burger.
Is that what it's really called? It's called a McItaly Burger. You can't just make stuff up, Sienna. Yeah, seriously. I'm reading it straight from the news. The McItaly Burger? That's awful. I think it's awesome. It should be like the McChow or something. Yeah. Would you like to know what's on a McItaly Burger? Absolutely. It's using all Italian beef, Asiago, Mikey, did I pronounce that right? Yeah, you did. You would know. Of course. Asiago cheese and artichoke spread. Gross. Sounds good. That sounds good. Sounds delicious, dude. Do you know what Asiago is? It's cheese. I said Asiago cheese. I got an English degree from the Loyola University of Chicago. Well, Italy's agriculture minister is defending all the McDonald's and their brand new all Italian burger. But many, many of Italians are very upset with this because they're like, look, you can't represent an Italian dish at McDonald's. We do everything from scratch. You know, we spend hours preparing our food. This is a quick throw it together.
less than a minute thing. This does not represent Italy. On a burger. I don't care what they do. McDonald's tastes good. So good. Delicious. The agriculture minister is saying that it's going to bring in 3.5 million euros, which is like almost five million dollars. Wow. So it's a really good investment for them to have. If they had one of those here, I would get it. You know what they call the Big Mac in Paris? Living. Living. A Royale with cheese. A Royale with cheese. It's the McFrance. They call it that in the France too, boss. They do? What do they call it? They call it Big Mac, like you said. Have you ever had one? No, because I'm dead. I've been dead for like 15 years. I thought that McDonald's was in France 15 years ago. Well, it was, but you asked me if I ever had one. How could I have one if I'm not alive right now? But I thought maybe they were around 15 years. Oh, I thought, I thought, I thought. Well, McDonald's has been in Italy for like 20 years. What, are we going to sit here and debate about it for a minute? What are you going to do? Maybe he couldn't reach the counter. Oh, another short joke, huh? Yep. Oh, that's a real nice one, Lauren. Maybe I will order.
some food for you. The lady will have a nice pommes frites. Pommes frites is fries, you dum-dum. Come on. Figure it out already. Pommes frites? Yeah, pommes frites. Hang on a second. I'm going to call for the plane. Here comes boss. By boss, I mean Garrett. Garrett? Yeah, Garrett boss. Who's coming? Do you know why he calls me tattoo? Why? Because I have a rooster on my ankle like my good friend sitting across from me right now. Do you have a thing for roosters or something? Yeah, apparently. Oh. Don't mean to embarrass anybody. Can I see the rooster? Of course you can. It's eight feet tall. Taller than you. Uh, let's see. Jay is panicking, Mike. We gotta go.
What's the Megan Fox thumb disease? Do you guys know? I will tell you. All right, we'll tell you. He has a shank up next to your head. Listening to The Mikey Show on FM 94.9. The new home of the Mikey Show. FM 94.9. How much does our general manager look like Robert Duvall? Scary. It is scary. Yes. Victory. I'm telling you. It's scary. Looks just like him. I told my wife that she didn't know who Robert Duvall was. My wife was born in 1975. She's seen approximately three movies. And they all star Reese Witherspoon. Legally Blonde 1, 2, and 3. And then Sweet Home Alabama. Yeah. And Sweet Home Alabama. There's nothing wrong with it. I love Sweet Home Alabama. Weird.
I love when Wood says weird. Weird. Weird. Today's my fifth wedding anniversary. Yay. Congrats. I'm really happy about it because, well, first of all, before I go into that. I got to give you the really quickly version of the Megan Fox thing. What's the deal with Megan Fox thumb? So a while ago, Megan Fox was spotted. Someone spotted her thumb in a picture and thought her thumb looks unusually wide and short. Yeah, like a toe, like a big toe. Yeah, and people were like, what's the deal with her thumb? I guess it's her right thumb. And she has a disease called brachydactylyl. It's short for Toe Thumb. Sounds like a dinosaur. Bracadacadilly? Yeah, that's what I was going to say. Wait, Bracadacadilly? Yeah. Bracadacadilly. Bracadacadilly. Where basically you just have an unusual size thumb. It's hereditary. Wait, you guys hear the Bracadill flying into the studio right now? There it is. There's a Bracadill just flew through the studio. There it is. Just flew out. That's crazy. Bracadilly. You're back. Hey, Dave. Got a song about the Bracadill?
I've got a toe thumb. They call it Bracken Dilly. Just like Megan Fox. Yeah, it's gorgeous. Well, Megan Fox was in a commercial for the Super Bowl. Yeah. And she was, you guys probably saw it. She was in a bathtub wearing nothing but bubbles. Yeah. It was for Motorola. Yeah. And they did a close-up on her holding, I'm sure you saw it, Dave, of her holding the phone. And she had a double hand person fill in because she didn't want her. braccadilly thumb in the shot. She had a hand double. Well, don't we all. Leave it to America to pick apart the most beautiful woman and be like, she's got weird thumbs. You gotta find something. She's incredible. It's like George Costanza. What's the matter with Brad Pitt? Brad Pitt? Besides his beard? What is it? I heard that he stinks. He doesn't wear deodorant. He has chunks of ham in his beard. That's one thing they say. Willie Nelson just fell out of that beard.
See, there's certain people that you look at me and go, it's kind of hard to find a flaw there. Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp? Johnny Depp. Big man crush on Johnny Depp. Greasy hair. That's great. I wouldn't want to run my fingers through that. Besides Brad Pitt's new scraggly beard, you got a problem with Brad Pitt? Mm-mm. See? I can find something with everyone, but he's beautiful. Besides his acting? He's a great actor. You guys have never seen Seven, I guess. Dude, I thought he was awesome. What's in the box? No, no, the box, no. His wife just got her head cut off and he's going, no, no. How would you know how you would react? I wouldn't react like that. I thought he was brilliant. I thought he was awesome. Morgan Freeman actually pulled him aside and was like, you better get your stuff together because you're messing up. Yeah, we, yeah. But the final cut is what they used, so Morgan Freeman must have liked what they used. M1 Rob dated a toe-thumb girl. Wow. Yes, I did. When did you date her? This was about four years ago. Actually, I had only seen her one time because the toe-thumb just got to me and I couldn't do it anymore. Bracadilly. Bracadacadilly. She had the Bracadill. She's Bracadill. She is.
Super hot. All my friends, I worked at a car dealership and I had met her at the car dealership selling her a car and all of my friends had made fun of me because of it. I'd be okay with it. I would not. So maybe this is only an affliction that very beautiful women suffer from. Could be. Could be. But all I could think of was when we were in bed and she was rubbing her hands across my back. You thought she was giving you a back massage with your toes? With her feet. Wait, I'm... It was no good. I'm looking at a picture and it doesn't look that bad to me. It doesn't look that bad to me. It's better than a lobster claw hand, I guess, but... It looks a little weird. I think Megan Fox is a beautiful girl. She's amazing. Of course. She's really pretty. Oh. Today's my five-year anniversary and the thing that I am... Let me tell you. As a married guy, you can attest to this. Yes. You think back on all the worst breakups that you've ever had in your life and you're so thankful for your wife. Yes. Or your husband. If you've been through the worst breakup, what's the worst breakup you ever went through, Woodsy? Me? Dude, I don't know. I've got a lot. Ever have a chick cheat on you? Yeah. That's the worst. For sure. That's tough, dude. That's a tough deal. I think that's the worst breakup. I mean, yeah, it ain't easy. Of course I have an outrageous story. Yes. Imagine that. I'm ready for it. Jay?
I've been dating this girl for about a month. And she says, oh, my gosh, I missed my period. I was like, oh, no, what do we do? Well, I got to go to the doctor, take her to the doctor. And I'm sitting in the waiting room, and I'm thinking, oh, my life is ruined. Because I was not ready at the point where I wanted to settle down and whatever. And the nurse comes out, and she says to me, she says, you must be Armando. And I said, what? No, I'm Jay. She says, no, you're... With Christy, right? And she goes, yeah, the father of the baby is Armando. I just say, okay. I got up and I left. Wow. We were in my car. Because she told, that's what she told the nurse. I got up and I left her there. I left her there. Good for you, dude. I would have too. Good for you. She's a liar. Yeah, she's a liar. A liar, liar. So she tells the nurse, this is Armando's baby. She runs out into the waiting room and you're there and she thinks you're Armando. Right, she wanted to get some.
some information from me about, you know, blood type and all that kind of stuff. Armando. Because clearly Jay looks like an Armando. Armando? You got cheated on. She cheated on you with Armando. That was her, actually, that was her boyfriend. That's the worst part, dude. That was her boyfriend from before. They were still seeing each other. That's the worst part. Oh, so as soon as she said it, you knew who he was. I knew exactly who the guy was. Yeah, she was still getting phone calls from him and all kinds of stuff. So I knew. I was like, I'm out. That's brutal. That would. Stink. You ladies? I broke up with someone where we broke up and we still kind of hung out afterwards a little bit trying to do that friend thing. No, we didn't do anything once we broke up, but we were at a party together and he disappeared with some girl and I was like, where'd he go? And I walked in and he was fully naked with this girl like a week after we broke up. Good for him, dude. You broke his heart. You broke up with him? No, it was like a mutual thing. Was it? I didn't really, I mean, it was just, we were drifting apart. Sometimes you got to get back on the horse. Once you see something like that, though, I'm at the party. It was bad. How'd she look? But it was the best thing that could have ever happened because I've never gotten over someone so quickly. I was like, okay, we're done. And I remember him running out, like put clothes on and running out trying to stop me. And I was like, get away from me. I had my heart broken a few times. It doesn't feel good. You know, women have, I think, an interesting thing about.
The appropriate period of time that needs to go by. Yeah, we don't. I don't. Before you start this. There's like a mathematical equation. What is it, Lauren? I hear. I don't follow this. Yeah, this is on hear.com. Yeah, they said. I heard .net. They said .net. Mm-hmm. It's supposed to take, like, half the amount of time that you were dating somebody to get over somebody. To get over it. That was on Sex and the City is where you heard that. Well, that didn't come from Sex and the City because I heard that, like, 12 years ago. Lauren saw it on National Geographic. Yeah. He did a special. He did a special. Yeah. That is, I think that's probably pretty accurate. But I think I just figured out as we were sitting here in this little therapy session. Yeah. Maybe why I hate Valentine's Day. Oh. I had. Probably the worst breakup that I had was, no, I was in high school, so I don't know if I count that as an actual relationship. Sure it is. But this guy that I was dating was becoming rather distant. And I saw in his car in the parking lot of high school. The laughter hides the pain. On February 13th, there was a valentine in there. Huge, like a 10 by 10 for his ex-girlfriend.
And it was your current boyfriend? Guess we're done. Was it your current boyfriend? Yeah, I mean, I guess you could say boyfriend. We were living together. Yeah, but see, he rebounded with me after like a three-year relationship, which I thought was a bad idea. And you probably told him that, right? No, I was hesitant about getting involved with him. And then I saw that, and we never even actually discussed it, which is like Steph talking to each other. That's high school. Lauren is easily the most guarded person. Oh, yeah. Right? Giant wall. Huge wall. And it's not coming down. No, that's not true. Every once in a while, you can get a trampoline and you can jump and see over the wall. Just for a second, you go, oh, my gosh. No. Oh, my gosh. What? Wow. Every once in a while. No, if you get to know me, then I'm like, I wear my heart on my sleeve. Really? Mm-hmm. So Matt, like, gets to know, like, you're very vulnerable with Matt? Yeah. Because you're not a very vulnerable person. Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Either that or you're extraordinarily vulnerable, and that's why you do the wall thing. I think that's more likely. Probably it. I'm sensitive. What do you don't remember the worst one? Dude, I've had so many. I've had so many breakups. My God. I've had...
Thousands of breakups. More breakups in relationships. Yeah, oh, for sure. For sure, for sure. Breaking up with people you never even dated. Yeah, for sure. 5701949. I got my heart broken by a girl in Chicago, and it was rough, man. Moved home, left the city, left my job, the whole deal. Have you ever had a girl break up with you really insensitively? She actually broke up with me before on Valentine's Day as well, and there was another dude in her apartment that night. That's very painful. Kid had a bottle of Jack Daniels that evening. A bottle. A bottle. Yeah, all he means is that he smashed himself over the head with it. He didn't actually drink it. He just smashed himself over the head with it. It hurt so bad. It was rough. I have a friend who broke up with his girlfriend on his birthday, and they were all out at dinner, and she was just being psycho. He's like, we're done. That's it. We're done. I'm out. We're done. And she left. And he was like, thank goodness she left. She's being a psycho. And she had the key to his house. And he had gotten a bunch of birthday presents earlier that day. She went in and he had a lot of clothes, like nice expensive jeans and stuff. And she sat in his living room with scissors. Oh my gosh. And just cut all of his brand new clothes into little pieces and left them on a pile. That's really psycho. This is a guy I used to work with. Okay, I want you girls to be really honest right now. I've never done anything psycho. You haven't seen him? I honestly can tell you I've never.
Done. And Todd can vouch. Todd and I have broken up before. I wish I was cool like that, dude. I saw that. No, I've never done anything psycho. Do you question the validity of whether or not Sienna's done anything psycho? No. You've done something psycho then. Yeah. What did you do, Lauren? A little bit. What did you do? This is great. Yes, this is huge. Yeah, the trampoline. She's letting you through the wall. Hey, Lauren. Over the wall. Hey, Lauren. What did you do that time? What did you do? She's got a vein popping out of her forehead, too. She does. It's like this giant vein. She does. Right? When her heart starts beating and she's like, oh, my gosh, I'm nervous. It's like one of the characters from V. What's V? This giant vein. Right. What? Well. Safe place. Yeah, you're in the trust tree. I was young. I was immature. I got in a fight with my ex-boyfriend. Eight months ago. My ex. And I decided I was going to. This is going to be bad. So embarrassing. I was going to take things from him that would be annoying so that he would have to come to my house and talk it out with me. Like his hubcap or what? Like his keys. Yeah, I took like keys, remotes, something else really random. Maybe like his basketball shoes or something like that. What's he? Crazy. I know. Don't you think that's...
You don't think that's kind of sweet? No. You don't? No. When you're done, you're done. No, we weren't breaking up. We were fighting. And I was like, well, he'll have to come get this stuff and come talk to me. And I took it. I don't know. It's a little crazy. It's a little crazy. I know. Yeah, I know. Crazy. It's kind of sweet. Well, it's immature. It's really immature and crazy. You can't get it if you couldn't get him to talk to you anyway. Well, we were like yelling and screaming and nothing was getting accomplished. And he was like, I'm done. I'm done. This conversation is over. And so I was like, oh, yeah, you think it is? I got your hubcaps, pal. Come get them. You want them, you got to come get them. Lauren says that she can get, you know, a temper. I believe it. But she's so like laid back. You say you believe it. I believe it. She's from Jersey, dude. You ever date a Jersey girl? No. I have. But she's all laid back and everything. She's from Jersey. That's all. I mean, that's it. So you think she yells? Oh, yeah. She yells. Obscenities? Yes, absolutely. That didn't take you any time to think about it. No, not anymore. I don't yell them. You have. It's not. I like to do smart fighting. Well, Matt is like.
You can't fight with Matt. He's too sweet. He's like a koala bear. He is. He's too sweet. You guys think stuff like that, and everyone says that about Todd, too. See, Uncle Joey, I can see you guys going around and around. Yes! But Matt, Matt's got an acoustic guitar in his hand all the time. Crazy. No, we are both very smart fighters. What does that mean? He's probably a little smarter than me. Like, very logical arguments. It's like a debate. Yeah. It's like James Carville. Yeah, Rebecca will do the thing sometimes where she'll get kind of smarty pants. And it's smarty pants that's meant to be very, you know, like, you know, little, there's a little demean in it. And I do it too. I have a problem saying goodbye. Like, I'm like the last word freak. So I'm always like coming back on. So yeah, this is it. Why are you acting like this? Like, oh, that's me, dude. And like, this is over. We're never going to talk again. It's over. Yeah. Baby, why? I just don't understand. I do that too. Why? I can't do it. I can't cut it clean. They have to die for me to get out. Yep. I can't. You ever did the breakup and then an hour later change your mind? Yes. All the time, dude. All the time. My whole life. You come back and you're like, you really want to talk anymore about this? So this is done. It's done. Oh, so I guess it's over then, right? It's done. Hey, you know what? If you want it to be over, it's over then.
She's like, you wanted it to be over. You broke up with me. You didn't chase after me? Yeah. So you don't even care. I guess you don't care. This is goodbye. This is goodbye. I guess I know what our relationship meant this whole time then. Right? Yeah, exactly. On the phone, on the voicemail. This is every voicemail every girl's ever gotten. Oh, I guess this tells us a lot about our relationship, doesn't it? Yeah, you don't even answer when I call. That's me due to a T. Yeah, don't pick up. That's cool. I have friends that are so good. When they're single, they'll meet a girl, they'll get a number, and they won't call for three days. I'm the idiot driving in the cab on the back of the bar back when I was single being like, so when can we get together? I'm that guy. I know what I want, and that's what I do. I try not to play games. Before me and Rebecca got healthy, when we used to break up, I would do the rash breakup. Just fly by the seat of your pants. Oh, yeah. It was like, you know, drive by breakup. Yeah. All the time. And I was the boy that couldn't learn. Because she would make me pay. Would she do the silent bit? It kills me. Let me tell you. She is as solid as a rock. Trainwrecks. When you would break up with her? It didn't matter. If I broke up with her, if she broke up with me, she would go.
That's what I do. Silence equals death. It's a gift we have. Todd and I broke up one time and I went over two months without saying a word. You are, oh my God. It's the cruel, like I would leave her messages and I'd be like, this is cruel. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. No, he didn't. I'm so sorry. He would, I mean, he would never do anything like that, but I would get emails and like a couple of texts here and there. We're the lunatics. Dude, I've done it. I just, I'm just like, I'll scream at him. I'm cursed and like yelled and like, thrown stuff. And then I'm like, I'm just, I'm really sorry. I don't know what to do. I just can't live without you. But the thing is, is like, he broke up with me and it's like, fine, you're the one that did it. That's how I know I never was psycho because I just, when it's done, it's done. That's how I feel. Girls have a thing. They have it, dude. They got to make you pay. Oh, you pay? You pay. You broke up? Okay, cool. No, it's done. Okay, then it's done. So I tell you what, I'll tell you what. We're broke up then. Okay. We're broken up. We're broke up. Silence equals death for me. I just pace. The only reason I called him back was because I got an email saying he was going to move. And I was like, man, what if he moves far away and I never see him again? I should at least like say bye. Oh. He never moved. I have to go right now. Got to go. Got to go. Can you give me one minute? No. No more. He's coming in here. He's going to get mad. He's got a shank, dude. He's got a shank. All right. I'll tell you the story when we get back.

Sienna's fiance is clearing out the garage so he can have a man cave. He is. Man cave's a good thing, man. So lucky, dude. Tell me what a man cave is. Man cave is a personal space for a guy where he can go and be all by himself.
that has things in it. The bathroom? Nope. No. That will not suffice. It has to be a place that, first of all, has a door. It must have a door. A locking door, preferably. A locking door. Preferably. And now, I'll tell you, I have a locking door on mine, and it isn't because I'm doing nasty stuff. I'm telling you the truth. Ten years ago, I would have said it's because I'm doing nasty stuff. But that's not why my door on my man cave locks. Guys need... To have a space where they go to just be alone. Not to do, well, maybe some dudes do some nasty stuff. Don't stare at me, dude. But what I'm saying is a guy needs a space where he can go and maybe there's a TV in there. But he just needs to go there. And honestly, if I had a dream man cave, it would actually be a basement. Yes. Dark, cold. Dark, cold. And where I could put, you know, a flat screen on the wall. A couch. Diet A&W's everywhere. Diet A&W's, a little mini fridge. Yep. Maybe a pool table. Sure. Pool table, foosball, ping pong. Ping pong. Pinball. Pinball would be cool. Pop a shot.
Yep. He's working on the pool table. He has a dartboard. He has a couch. He has a TV. He has a microwave. He has a full-size refrigerator. Sienna, can I ask you a question? What? How do you feel about it? You know, I just, I'm fine with it. Like, cool, dude. It looks good as long as my car can still fit in the garage. Oh, so this is your garage where the cars go. Yeah. So how are you going to get a, do you have a nine-car garage? How are you going to get a pool table in there? We have a two-car garage, but it's really big. And he's divided the room. Like when I pull my car in one day when I can, it will be soon now that he's working on the man cave. But when I pull my car in the back of the couch, it goes right next to my car. So it's sectioned off. So his area is one spot, half of the garage. I don't even, I don't even, I don't like it. No way. Because Diana can pull her car in? Yes. No, no, no. I don't mean to bother you. I just have to get something out of my car. Get. I'm in here. I'm in the man cave. Well, dude, what if you're in the man cave in the garage door? Yeah. You're shutting off the DVD player real quick. He's not. You would be shutting off the DVD player real quick. He's not like that, though. Sure he's not. I mean, I'm, I know that when he's in there or when the game's on, I know.
Not to talk and not to bug him. And that's fine. Oh, really? And the garage door opening isn't going to bother him? He chose it. He didn't have a choice. He chose it. You weren't going to give him a room in the house. Well, he can't. We have a guest room. And we have his daughter's room, and then we have our room. You know that guy. The dining room. No, Dan Fields. DanFieldsPhotography.com. The best. Guy that took our pictures for MikeyShow.com. Has the greatest man cave I've ever seen in my life. I picture his whole house being the man cave. Amazing. And Whitney gets one room to her. Oh, no. Oh, no. You got that wrong. Really? Oh, Whitney has a nice house, man. She makes a beautiful... Like, you would trip out. We went in there, and I'm like... Better homes and gardens. Yeah. Wow, that's awesome. Just a 12-foot tree. A 12-foot Christmas tree. When we went in there, it's 12 feet. Now, I know they've seen that tall. I'm like, but when you're... It's 2'4 like me. It's like four of you. Yeah. That's how tall mine was. Really? Yeah, well, it was maybe 10. Really? Yeah, it was big. Yeah, but you're from LJ. That's true. That's what they do. But anyway, his man cave, they don't use their garage. So he, like, sealed it shut. And...
When you walk into their garage, he made it so that the floor is at an angle, and it's a full movie theater with a silver screen. That's cool. With, like, the big theater chairs, you know, leather theater chairs, full-on projection, high definition, and games are all on a, like, 14-foot wall. Well, it's the size of the garage door, but he put a screen there. Like a real, you know, and he put 300 on and it was like the whole floor was like the hairs on your arm were shaking. That doesn't seem like a man cave, though. If it's a movie theater, obviously she's going to get in there, too. No, you go in. It's got a door. You go in there. You're all in your space. You got your TV. If he wanted to, he could put a little mini fridge. That's a man cave. That's a man cave. My man cave right now is like... It looks like a pottery barn. Yeah. Yeah, it's the Z Gallery cave. The Z Gallery cave. Todd doesn't want anything that's...
He wants everything older than the 90s. Like he has old stuff. That weirds me out because I don't like the old heat either. That's why he likes the garage. We have like this old, cool garage. All his tools are in there. He's got the dartboard. I mean, it's all really old school. He wants to get like old school Nintendo and stuff. That's fun. That is fun. Who's got the baddest man cave? 570-1949. I love that. I want one so bad I've never gotten to have one. Yeah, dude. I've gotten to. I've never gotten to. And, you know, I think my theory is this because I've heard women really get up in arms about this is that they're like, why does he, you know, I need space too. It's like, dude, you have the entire house. Can I tell you? I get one room. I get a nook in a corner of a room. Jay, can you get Rebecca on the line, my wife? Absolutely. I don't think that Rebecca, for Rebecca it isn't, oh, I want my space too. And this was the deal early in our marriage. I don't think she feels this way anymore. But early in our marriage, I think that the feeling was, why do you have a need to be by yourself? Yeah, why do you want to be away from me? That's Jamie Woods. I love you, but yes, that's the case. Why do you have a need to be by you? It was more than why do you have a need to be away from me? It was, why do you have a need to be? We can hear that, Jay. Jay.
Okay. Why do you have a need to be by yourself? Yeah. Because guys are just different. And I learned that too when I first started dating Todd. He needs his, he calls it Todd time. I need my Todd time. And at first I was like, what? Because I love being around people. I don't like being alone. And now I've gotten used to it. And I'm like, yeah, whatever. It's fine. It kind of sucks being alone sometimes. Yeah. That's why you call everybody all day. Hey, what's going on? What are you doing? What are you guys doing? Can I go with you? What are you doing? Pick out dresses? All right. Okay, I'll go with you. What time? Nothing to do. You just want to meet there? Can't get her. No. She's out. Lauren, you need... Yes. Absolutely. I don't know if I am the exception, but I know, speaking of sex in the city, I know that when Carrie was dating Aiden... Who's Carrie and who's Aiden? Carrie is the main girl. Sarah Jessica Parker. Sarah Jessica Parker. And she dated a lot of people, but one of the people was Aiden. And when they decided to move in together... She walked in the door and he would be like, where are you going? Have you seen me? Where have you been? And she was like, stop. I need one hour of just alone time. And that's how I kind of feel, you know, at certain times. I think everybody needs to decompress. No? How to decompose? Why are you looking at me like that? Because I want to know, well, how does Matt discern that now is that time? I don't know. I've got to hand it to him because I don't know.
I think I just tell him. Okay to talk to you? Are we good or should we talk? No, we're open with each other. I'll tell him, he'll tell me. So you'll just say, hey, I'd prefer you not speak right now. No, I'm going to go in the other room. She would kill me. And work on this. Oh my God, I would never get away with that in my house. You can't say I got stuff to do? Yeah, what are you doing? Where are you going? The school paper question again. My wife should have been a reporter. I'd do that. She's awesome, though, but she riddles me. I used to call her the Riddler.
