M1 Brock stopped by the studio to give the stoked cast some tasty pastries.  The gang gave their review of their weekly movie outing, this week was “Youth In Revolt”.  Mikey loathed it.  Jay and Lauren said it was ok.  Woodsie LOVED it (failed to mention to the crew it was his second time seeing it).  Sienna’s opinion doesn’t matter as she spent most of the movie watching the back of her eyelids.  Neil Diamond made his triumphant return and even played the flute!  Borey (shhh, can’t say Maury anymore) is still fat, Jewish, and pissing Neil off.  The next bit was about Expensive Things Your Kids (or you as a kid) Ruined.  Woods took a Dave Winfield autographed ball and played ball with it in the street.  One of Jay’s kids put a sandwich in the VCR.  Closing out the show was another edition of Things That Should Be Banned.  Sienna went off on this one, citing that just about every piece of clothing I own is lame, and that plaid shorts are cool while Cargo shorts are so two thousand and late.  Sanjaya called in noting that wearing Sweat Pants to a strip club should be banned which drew some big laughs.

Mikey said he treated Rebecca's painful neck with horse-strength liniment and marked their anniversary with Post-it love notes, while the crew also got lost in Sienna's innocent banana-hammock idea. Mikey, Woodsy, Lauren, and Sienna condemned John Mayer's slur, then argued with caller Chaz over whether recycling a love song written for an ex is dishonest; Lauren and Sienna said it was, while Mikey pressed the case that the same feelings could still be genuine. Sienna defended the tradition that a bride's parents should offer to help pay for a wedding, and the group split again over the Dixie Chicks backlash and Youth in Revolt, which Woodsy loved but Mikey found mean-spirited and Sienna slept through. The biggest comic set pieces were Mikey's rambling Neil Diamond flute impression, his admission that he burned his father's Mount Fuji climbing stick, and the escalating fight over whether Woodsy's cargo shorts were hopelessly outdated. The hosts also debated whether wealth solves unhappiness after a millionaire donated everything and recoiled at the report of forceps left inside a surgical patient.

What happened, in order

  1. Horse Liniment Anniversary

Mikey said he treated Rebecca's painful neck with veterinary-strength horse liniment and marked their anniversary with romantic Post-it notes around the house.

  2. John Mayer's Slur

The crew condemned John Mayer for using the N-word in a Playboy interview and found his Twitter apology inadequate for such an obvious mistake.

  3. Banana Hammock Confusion

Sienna innocently described a kitchen hammock that keeps bananas fresh while the others teased her about the term's revealing second meaning.

  4. The Millionaire Who Quit Money

A millionaire's decision to give away his fortune sparked an argument over whether money fixes unhappiness or merely trades ordinary problems for bigger ones.

  5. Recycled Love Song

Caller Chaz asked whether he could give his new girlfriend a love song written for an ex, prompting Lauren and Sienna to call it dishonest while Mikey tested the opposing case.

  6. Who Pays for the Wedding?

Sienna defended the tradition that a bride's parents should at least offer to help pay, while the others argued that age, income, and family means matter more than a fixed rule.

  7. Dixie Chicks Backlash

The hosts revisited the backlash against Natalie's anti-Bush remarks and debated whether artists should speak freely even when their own audience may punish them for it.

  8. Youth in Revolt Split

Woodsy loved Youth in Revolt, but Mikey called its humor mean-spirited, Lauren thought the concept was better than the direction, and Sienna slept through much of it.

  9. Neil Diamond's Mystery Flute

Mikey launched into a rambling Neil Diamond impression, mangled Landslide, invented outrageous tour stories, and played an almost unrecognizable flute version of Hey, Soul Sister.

  10. Forceps Left Behind

The crew recoiled at a report that a surgical patient endured months of pain before doctors discovered seven-inch forceps left inside her body.

  11. The Burned Fuji Stick

Mikey admitted that as a teenager he burned his father's treasured Mount Fuji climbing stick for backyard firewood without realizing what it was.

  12. Cargo Shorts War

Sienna and Lauren declared cargo shorts outdated, while Woodsy defended their usefulness and Texas credibility until the fashion argument consumed the studio.
