Weather people, because nobody can predict the weather. Yes, sir. Seriously, man. I mean, you hear one thing, and then you hear the polar opposite. I know. Yesterday I was talking about how nice the weather is going to be this weekend, and it turns out it's probably not. Damp, maybe? Yeah. It's probably not. It's probably not. Our phone number is 570-1949. And you can call us right now. We have phone lines open for you. And you can also text 949mikey at gmail.com. We're on from 530 to 9 now. Did you know that, you know, Adam Sandler had a, like a movie company. Oh, yeah. It's Happy Madison. And he does. He was going to step into the world of animated films.
Well, he actually is stepping into the world of animated films with a movie called Hotel Transylvania. It's for kids. I want to suck your blood. I'm going to suck your blood. Oh, I suck your blood. Miley Cyrus was going to play Dracula's daughter. I am Dracula's daughter. You are not Dracula's. I'm not playing with anybody. You're actually Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter. He's blood sucking. That's true. Well, he's money. Money grubbing. Wait, that's my dad. Oh, yeah. Why are you saying that about your dad? What am I doing? She already has a second part down, so. That's weird. That's right, Miley. It sure is, isn't it? Very odd. Miley Cyrus, I'm so sorry about Jay. He is a weird guy. My grandfather says weird things, too. Yeah, he is. He just screams them out. Does he remind you a little bit of your grandpa? He's a little older than my grandpa. Well, Miley has dropped out of the movie and Selena Gomez, Mikey, has taken over and will take Miley's place. Good. In this new movie for kids that Sandler's putting out, animated movie called Hotel Transylvania. I got no problem with those because they're for kids, man. I mean, they're not supposed to be for us.
Supposed to be to take your kids to them. And so. When people have kids, actors, they start doing kiddie type movies. See, Eddie Murphy. Yeah. Yeah. Gosh darn. I love those movies. When Jasper wants to watch them, I'm like, yes. Yeah. Well, I mean, they make them now to where. Yeah. They put dirty jokes. Oh, yeah. Like Shrek. It's like Bugs Bunny when we were. Well, when I was a kid, Bugs Bunny always had like a dirty. So you'd say something kind of dirty and the kids wouldn't get it, but you'd get it. Yeah. Makes you laugh. It's always been the bit. I also found out that the other element that they found that worked for kids stuff was scaring the crap out of them. Which I really, it tripped me out. I thought, I wonder why you think little kids are safe, nice, cute, blah, blah, blah. No. Disney, Walt Disney, his whole, what do you call it, formula, was to have a really cute story, but also really scare kids at some point.
Everybody likes to be a little scared, I guess. A little, it's titillating. As long as it ends okay. All's well, it ends well. All's well, it ends well. M1, is it Raul or Raul? Raul. Raul from Oceanside. What's going on, dude? Not much, man. Just wanted to call in and say have a good Friday show. I've been up all night and I couldn't fall asleep, so I decided to listen in and wish you guys a good Friday. Why could you not fall asleep? Well, I had a monster about 6 o'clock yesterday. Now, by monster, do you mean methamphetamine? Methamphetamine. Oh, yeah, you know. No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. You weren't doing any drugs, were you? No, God, no. Okay, see, you had a monster at what time? Around 6 o'clock. Oh, that's okay. So right around when you were falling asleep. Yeah, true. Exactly when I was falling asleep. Why did you decide to have an energy drink at 6 o'clock? Well, I had been working from 8 o'clock in the morning to about 4 o'clock, and I needed something to get me up for my essentially second shift from 6 to around 9. So have you been working? Oh, yeah. Okay, okay. And what do you do? I clean houses and offices. So you're out there just...
cleaning somebody's house, 2 o'clock in the morning, just, excuse me, you guys go ahead and sleep. I'm going to vacuum right around the bed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're in an apartment. I mean, you were doing an office. Yeah. That would scare me, by the way. Being in an office by yourself that late? Yes. I think you get used to it. I guess you do, but... Would you wear headphones? Yeah. Like, yeah, jam some tunes? Oh, no way. I'll sneak that up on you. Raul, do you wear headphones? Well, yeah, I listen to you guys. Nice. Nice. There you go, buddy. Yeah, you guys helped me get through those few hours right there with one day of your podcast, and I just hammered through it. There you go. Hey, thanks a lot, man. We appreciate you. Thank you guys for keeping us happy and excited and ready to keep going with our day, man. I appreciate it. Thanks, bro. Have a good one. We'll see you. Just saw up on the ticker that Apple stock is a stock to watch right now. As unbelievable as it sounds, today we'll probably... be the day that Apple hits $500 a share. Oh, my gosh. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Now, I don't know of another stock that costs that much. Wow. $500 a share. $500. That's so big. Ton of dough. Yeah. They make a lot of money on those products. Sure do. People really like the products. So that's something that they're saying on TV is a stock to watch today.
Woodsy, you will be very happy to hear that Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are reuniting. Solid. How about that? Love Wedding Crashers. They were in Wedding Crashers. And, you know, before we started the Mikey show with this cast, I was telling Lauren about Woodsy because she'd never met him. I said, he's kind of like Vince Vaughn. He'll remind you a little bit of Vince Vaughn in his personality. And it's true. Woodsy is a lot like Vince Vaughn. Chubby, thanks for that compliment. Chubby Vince Vaughn. On one end, you have a compliment. Yeah. And on the polar opposite end, you've got somebody disparaging them. The good news is Vince Vaughn is now chubby, so they really look alike. Wow. And so he just added on to it. He just added on to it, Woods. He deserves to die. Yes, he does. Yes, he does. Now, Vince Vaughn wrote the script. It's going to be called Interns. I'm all the way in. Already, right? I haven't seen a preview. I haven't seen anything. I'm all the way in. And here's what interns is about. A couple of middle-aged guys that have to reevaluate their careers because they got laid off from their jobs. All the way in. I love the premise. I do, too. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as a couple of adult interns. All the way in. It's going to be hysterical. 20th Century Fox said, yep, we like it, too. We're in.
Surprisingly, I was never a big Owen Wilson fan. They were great together in Wedding Crashers. And that movie is a classic, and I bet my friend Mike hasn't seen it. I'll bet anything they did. Oh, thank God. I saw it in the theater. Wow. Thank God. Yeah. Okay, here's another one that I think that you will find interesting. Apparently, Hulk Hogan's wife says that he's gay. Brother. And he has said, I'm not gay, brother. And here he is saying it. Linda made some not-so-nice accusations about you in the book, like accusing you of being gay, one of them, which we didn't talk about that in Hot Topics because I didn't even feel as though that was relevant. Like, really? That was a reach. Wait a minute. Then why are you bringing it up? Yeah. Yeah. I wasn't going to talk about it. I wasn't going to talk about it because I was like, really? But anyway, so what's the deal? Sorry. You like guys or what's up?
You know, a lot of my friends in normal life. Yes. A lot of my friends in the entertainment business. Yes. A lot of my friends in the wrestling business, you know, are gay. Yes. Uh-uh. Yeah. I didn't know that there was pro wrestlers that are outwardly gay. Maybe they're not. Maybe they're not outwardly. He just starts naming people. Yeah. Yeah. He's like, you know, Gentleman Jim. Hacksaw Jim Duggan was gay. Not a lot of people knew that. Iron Sheik was bi. He was bi. Andre the Giant. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. Yeah. I wish I knew current day WWE guys. Yeah, I don't know any of them. British Bulldogs were gay. Okay. What's he naming wrestlers from 44, approximately 44 years ago? Sergeant Slaughter. Sergeant Slaughter. Von Eriks. And it has nothing to do with the quality of person or how nice they are. And I've seen how they've been described. You know, I'm glad you said that because I, you know, I had thought that a person being gay would affect the quality of how nice they are. So thank you, Hulk, for, you know, sort of crystallizing that for us. I mean, in the old South, if you said somebody was gay, the next thing you knew, they were hung or drugged behind a truck or something.
Interesting. Wow. Very extreme. You're very extreme. Very extreme. Very extreme. Very visual. Yes. Your mustache is extreme. Your bandana is extreme. Yes. Your tan is extreme. Your white blonde hair. Yes. Your white. Your ripped t-shirt is extreme. Everything. Barbaric mindset I thought was gone, but just to say something spiteful or hurtful, I just don't get it. I mean, if it was true and it was gay, I'd embrace it and I'd tell you guys about it. Would you? He would. He would. He would? Yeah. I think he's a pretty good dude from what I've seen. He's a stand-up guy. Just because you don't tell doesn't mean that you're a bad dude. But I think she's more of a hillbilly. His ex-wife. Yeah. Everything I've ever seen, she's more of a hillbilly. But don't you think that a guy like Hulk Hogan would keep that a secret? No, he's put his whole life out there pretty much. Yeah, the reality shows. And now, you know, now, who cares now? What do you stand to lose? Yeah. I thought he still... that his image is still that he's kind of a tough guy. Yeah, and you can be a tough guy and be gay. I know, but not the kind of tough guy that he portrays himself as, can you? Absolutely. Give me an example of a celebrity that's like outwardly gay and a badass. Adam Lambert. Okay, that's one. Okay, Adam Lambert is the only... Okay, those are two examples of the only guys that I can think of that were... Lance Bath. Outwardly gay.
but really tough, tough guys. Lance Bass is number one. Everyone on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Yes, for sure. It's kind of like to say something like that now. It was a real reach, Hulk. You don't have to defend it. Yeah, I do because you brought it up. I wouldn't have had to defend it. It's okay. I don't want to. I don't... We're not talking about it. And the person she talked about also was Brutus Beefcake, a friend of mine. Brutus Beefcake. I remember that cat. That guy was a stud. He's got like a 15-year-old daughter, and she's going to high school, so I don't think people... People didn't know he was gay until now. I just said it. I just outed him. Sorry, Beef. Sorry, Beef. Sorry, B-B-B. Sorry, B-B-B. B-B-C. Mr. and Mrs. Cake, I apologize.
Yeah, that's him the next day. Two, thank you for coming to this press conference. To the family, Mr. and Mrs. Kate, I want to apologize sincerely from the bottom of my heart, brother, for saying that you was gay. That is all. That's it, brother. What really affects when you lash out and say something, number one, that's not true, hateful, and that discriminates against people. I'm not gay, brother. And if I was... Brother, I would just, I'd say it. I'd be like, I'm gay. Yep. Brother. It's raining men. Hallelujah. What does Hulk Hogan do for a living? Now. Speaking. Does some speaking stuff. He does like. Really? So. Play autograph sessions. Yeah. Dances at the brass rail. What's a rail? What's a rail? So you're telling me.
that he will be standing in front of the graduating class at Harvard. Yeah, well, I didn't say Harvard. Hello, brothers. I just want to say to all of you that are here today graduating from Harvard, brother, go out there and tackle the world. Go get them. Grab the world by the balls. Yeah. Hey, this is weird. Who is that old guy? I'll never forget the time when I was wrestling the Iron Sheet, Madison Square Garden, brother. We had Al Gore here last year. President Obama was here. Bill Gates was here. And all I remember was, man, I wonder if one day I'll get to speak at Harvard. Now here I am, speaking to the graduating class of 2011, telling all of you guys, brother, A, I'm gay, or I'm not gay, and B, get out there and do the things that you do. It's a jungle out there.
And it's a jungle out there. Thank you. Now, granted, it was Harvard Refrigerator College. Yes, Harvard. Harvard Refrigerator College. But it's still Harvard. What are you going to do? A $25 billion with a B, a $25 billion settlement got reached for foreclosure abuses. Now, listen to this. It was announced yesterday that the top five mortgage lenders are going to have to ante up. And to regular people like you and me. So this is what happened. They're going to have to send $2,000 to about 750,000 Americans that were improperly foreclosed upon. $2,000 to three quarters of a million people. And they got to reduce loans for about a million households that are at risk currently of foreclosure because of some of the shady practices.
What kind of shady practices? I don't know. Some of their employees signing papers that they hadn't read or using fake signatures to speed foreclosures along. Damn, dude. That happened during the big, you know, foreclosure scandals and all that stuff. So sometimes they would verify documents they weren't supposed to verify or verify them falsely, I should say. So when that big real estate crash happened back in 2008, that's what they were doing. Now they've got to pay three quarters of a million people $2,000 each. They're going to get a check in the mail. Good. Yeah, good. I'm sure those people aren't that stoked, though. I mean, $2,000 is great, but maybe I could have held on to my household. Yeah, it's true. Yeah. Well, some people that are about to be foreclosed on as a result of some of this stuff will now not. A million of those people will not. That's badass. Well, that's great. That's good news. Speaking of, the economy really is getting better. The number of Americans that signed up for unemployment fell last week. That's just another sign that we're on the mend. Labor Department said yesterday that unemployment claims dropped by 15,000 people to 358,000. That's the lowest since April of 2008. It's pretty awesome.
It's very awesome. It means that we are definitely moving in the right direction. I'm seeing more stuff, too, like on Facebook. Like, hey, my company's hiring. We're looking for this. We're looking for that. I mean, there's opportunities out there to be had. That's cool, man. Yeah, it is. You know, this is really a cool time in American history because we're coming out of the Great Recession. Something that we will be able to tell our kids that we lived through. Because believe it or not. What happened between 2008 and what we're coming out of right now is going to be as big a news event years and years from now as the Depression was. Really? I don't know. Dude, our economy got so jacked that at one point we were on the brink. At one point, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down to 7,000 points. Now, to put that in perspective, we're currently at 12,000. Actually, upper 12s. We're about to hit 13. And it's taken us all that time to come back. They almost closed the lights on Congress. Yeah, it was bad. I mean, all those jobs were lost. It was as bad as it could be. Our economy was... Well, the depression was a lot. Well, yeah, yeah. The depression affected millions of people. But what I'm saying is, what I'm telling you is...
is that it will be remembered. Yes. I'm not saying that it was as bad. Right. And if I did say that, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. But it will be remembered as a event. Major. A textbook event in the history book. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it'll be in textbooks, which will probably be on iPads by that time. They already are. They already are. M1 Christian from Camp Pendleton. What's up? How are you guys doing? Good. Happy Friday. Happy Friday to you. I just wanted to give you guys a call and let you know how much I appreciate you guys. I'm a Marine wife and my husband got me hooked on your show. And when he's gone, you guys are the closest I have. That's rad. It's awesome. In the morning, that's the time that we have together. And when he's not home and I listen to you guys, I feel close to him. That's really cool. I really miss him. He's deployed. Keep him in your prayers. We will. What's his name? His name's Zach. Zach. Yep. You got it. We love you guys. Well, we love you, and thank you for calling, and we're glad that you... Now, he made an M1 out of you. That's your job now. Yep. Absolutely. You got to go out there and make more M1s. All in, through and through. Thank you, sweetheart.

Who wouldn't? I wouldn't. You're a liar. Like Jay would look at that picture and go, wow, that is a sweet, sad girl. Isn't it? She's so sweet and pretty. I'd probably just shoot her an email. Yeah. Just to let her know that we are here for her. I have a call tracer installed. I was calling back. Kind of a support unit. That's right. We're going to be playing buzzword in just a little bit. I think Woods will actually make the better woman. Absolutely. He's got bigger cans. Ouch. What's going on with Michael Vick? What do you mean? Well, I understand that Michael Vick is... It isn't what's going on with Michael Vick. It's that Michael Vick is among Forbes lists. He made a list. Forbes magazine. You can check this article out on Forbes.com. It's the most disliked athletes. I'll give you guys some guesses. I'm sure you can knock out a couple easy. Fire away. Tiger? T.O. Tiger was number two. Okay. Terrell Owens. Terrell Owens, number eight. Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant. Are you looking at the list? No. Kobe Bryant was number seven. Shaquille O'Neal. No. Maybe he's a well-liked guy. He is? Tebow. Tebow is very well-liked. He's not on this list. I don't know. Okay. I'll start with number... Ocho Cinco. Not on there. He's a non-issue these days. Non-issue. Didn't do anything. Number 10 is NASCAR driver Kurt Busch. A lot of people don't like that cat. He wrecks people. Swaps a lot of paint. Number 9 is Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez. I was going to say him. I agree.
Guy's a pud. You don't like A-Rod? No. I want him to do well. What makes him unlikable? Oh, pictures of him painted as a centaur. It's a true story. Is that true? It's a true story. In his Miami mansion, he has a painting of a half horse with his body. There's another picture. Did he commission someone? Yes. No. Yes. Oh, my gosh. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Stop. Pause. Hold everything. Imagine that phone call. Hello? Hi, this is Alex Rodriguez, the famous baseball player for the New York Yankees. Huge fan. Well, is this Thomas Bagligo? It is. Famous artist? Yes. Well, listen, I saw your work in a museum, and I understand that your works are worth millions of dollars. I'd like you to come by my place sometime this weekend. I'll bring some paintings over for you to purchase. To paint me as a centaur. I'm sorry. I thought you said that you wanted me to paint you as a centaur. But that couldn't be right. Can you imagine, dude? I can't. I can't. There's also a picture of him that was in Details Magazine last year of him with his shirt off, staring at himself in a mirror. He's just, he doesn't have that self-awareness on how to not be a douchebag. Right. And he never really says the right thing. And he doesn't.
He's really fallen off with his whole steroids thing, and he hasn't played well. Wow. So he's... So he made number what? He's number nine. Okay. He's number nine. Number eight is Terrell Owens. Yeah, that's standard. Seven was Kobe Bryant. Number six, LeBron James. He's going to say him, too. People just do not like that guy ever since the decision. Yeah, the decision. It'll always be known as the decision. Yep. Number five is Chris Humphries, Kim Kardashian's ex. Really? That guy just put through the ringer with those broads. Really? Yeah. Number four, Indomitian Sue, the Detroit defensive lineman. I have to tell you, I saw him Thanksgiving Day sitting in with the cast of NFL Today. Yeah. And he really humbled himself in terms of what he did and came clean about it instead of denying it. Yeah. So sue me. He's one of those guys that if he's on your team, you are all the way in. You're like, hey, shut up. Guy plays hard. He's a beast. You guys didn't even pick up on my pun. What is it? I said, so sue me. Oh, wow. My last name is Sue. I missed that too. Glazed right over me. And Dama can sue me. Yeah. I get it. I get it.
Oh, boy. Who's next? Number three is Plaxico Burris. Shot himself. Yeah, shot himself in the foot. Shot himself in the leg. In the leg because he took his pistol into a nightclub in his Adidas workout pants. What do people with beef do they have with him? He was kind of a malcontent before that. Then he shot himself in the leg. I don't know. And number two, Tiger Woods. Obviously, biggest fall from grace in sports history. Number one, still, with a bullet. So they still haven't forgiven him. What did that guy do? Jay, get me started, buddy. Let's see. Tomorrow, Jennifer Aniston will be 43 years old. Shocking. Today, Laura Dern is 45. Does it look like a horse? Yeah. Fair enough. She does not. Yeah, she does. Success secretary. Yeah. She does not. Roberta Flack. She is 75 years old today. She is awesome. This is Roberta Flack. Her voice. Greg Norman. He's 57. A shock. Yeah, 57 today. Guy's very well known for golf. You have one of his shirts on. No, I don't. I do not. I don't have one of his shirts on.
Let me have a shark on your shirt. Lauren is drinking a glass of his wine. Are you playing Torrey Pines today? George Stephanopoulos, which always, every time you hear his voice, you can't help but think of Snuffleupagus. But George Stephanopoulos is 51 years of age today. It's a cruel coincidence. Yes. And Robert Wagner is 82. 82. It was 20. Two years ago today that this happened with Mike Tyson. Sports moments ever when the champ, I mean the unbeatable Mike Tyson, was knocked out by James Buster Douglas. And then, one of the most bizarre coincidences, exactly two years later on this day, Mike Tyson was convicted in Indianapolis of raping. Desiree Washington. Two years to the day. It's a bad day for him. Yes. Yes. This is not a day that Mike Tyson likes to remember. But a little history for you. By the way, that new Titanic exhibit is opening up. How about that? Can't wait. That opens today. 200 artifacts that they pulled from the wreckage, from the Titanic, are going to be there. No word yet on whether or not...
Rose and the gold of the ocean. The heart of the ocean. The heart of the gold. There's no word yet on if Rose will even be there. I kept it, my dear. You did. You kept it? I kept the heart of the ocean close to my heart. That's right. And then you take out the pin from your hair and you just let that gray... Glorious. Glorious. You let that glorious hair fall over your breasts, which are actually... At your kneecaps. That's correct. Which is interesting. Quite saggy. Cascading. Cascading. The breasts or the hair? Both. Both. So there you go. Rose will be there signing autographs. Yep. Because she made it. She was on the door. So. Flotation device. Flotation device was Jack. Yes. Well, this thing has actually been touring for a while. Apparently it's been touring in. It's been doing it for 18 years, and it's finally stopping here in San Diego. I want to see it. 25 million people have, Woods. I'll go. I want to see it. 25 million people. We should just go do bits there. Heck yeah. Let's do our Rose voice. We should go ask the people there, is any of Rose or Jack's stuff here? Yeah. Is Jack's sketchbook? Did you find that? You guys want to hear what they have? Yeah. Apparently, there was a British perfume maker.
That was carrying some stuff to New York. He wanted to sell his wares in New York City. You'll be interested in that. Of course. The perfumist. Of course. And so they found little sample bottles of said perfume. You get to see it. There literally is a hairpin that belonged to a woman who was only on the Titanic. Because she was supposed to be aboard another ship that was delayed because of a coal strike. Wow. How about that? I want to see it. Yeah, man. I mean, if you're sitting there and you're looking, I don't care what it is. It could be a fork. Yeah. If you're looking at it and you're like, that damn thing was on the Titanic. That's pretty cool. Yeah, man. That's pretty cool. And Titanic fever is kind of going on right now. Yeah. They're re-releasing the movie in 3D. Oh, really? Yep. In 3D? They're re-releasing Titanic in 3D. They are also... What? They really are. Adam? Yeah, it seems ridiculous. This is a joke. It is a joke. They are. What is it possibly being 3D on this thing that comes out at you? The waves? I saw... No, I went to see...
I took my son Jake to see some 3D movie. It was the Chipmunks. And they actually showed a trailer for the 3D. Right. And it's things like when bolts are busting off the walls. Oh, yeah. They come flying at you. And when the ship, when the... A camera moves in front of the bow of the ship, and the ship goes up in the air and is going to sink. It comes right at you. I wonder if when they're making love and the hand goes up, if the hand is in there. You're like, ah! It comes at you. It comes right at you. I'm in. Yeah. Every time it's on, it's been on cable a bunch lately, and I watch it when it's on because it's a good movie. Star Wars Episode I, The Phantom Menace. The first of the cartoons that George Lucas put out. Looks like a cartoon. Looks like it's animated. Yeah. Well, that is actually going to be in theaters today in 3D. The greatest saga of all time is coming to the big screen. Again. In spectacular 3D. If you didn't like it the first time, you'll not like it again.
In 3D. Experience the wonder. You refer to the prophecy of the one who will bring balance to the force. All the stuff that you didn't like, right in your face. Yeah. Remember that cartoon that they rode on? It was supposed to be a spaceship. Well, that'll be there. Jar Jar Binks. Jar Jar. Jar Jar Binks. Oh, my God. Let's see. Now, he's going to re-release all those, by the way. It's just going to take forever for us to get to the ones we care about. I want to see Empire Strikes Back in 3D. It's going to take me 80 years. Yeah, you'll be 56 when it comes out. There's also a new movie out today called The Vow. I want to see it. I do. Here's the premise. A car accident puts Paige... played by Rachel McAdams in a coma. I'm in. When she wakes up, she has severe memory loss, and her husband, played by Channing Tatum, works to win her heart again. Life's all about moments of impact. You want to go see a movie? And how they change our lives. Why do you want to see that, Woods? I like True Love. It's a notebook, too. You like True Love? Based on a true story. Kids are a fan of True Love. Is it based on a true story?
See, based on true story stuff does kind of get me. Yeah. I will not see it. I will see it. I will take my wife to see it, and I will probably cry. What's it rated? Sweet, dude. I think it's cool. You know, I would say that I'm surprised that Woods would say that, but then yesterday Woods said... Gerber daisies are pretty. Yeah, so, and we have a clip of Woods saying... Gerber daisies are pretty. And we will probably play a lot of... Gerber daisies are pretty. Woods saying... Gerber daisies are pretty. Gerber daisies are pretty. Gerber daisies are pretty. Wow, you really want to get that out there. Oh, boy. So there you go. I'm menstruating. Are you also going to watch Breaking Dawn today? I think Woods has taken enough abuse. No, I'll see that. Yeah, I'll see it. I'll see it. Comes out today. Yeah, it does. I'll come to your defense when I feel that you've... I'm not ashamed that I like true love. Yeah. So you'll see the vow. I will see the vow. This one I do want to see. Safe house. Oh, yeah. Oh, that looks good. That looks really good. A young CIA agent is tasked with looking after a fugitive in a safe house. That fugitive, of course, is...
None other than Denzel Washington. This is Weston. We have a last minute reservation. Kill all the surveillance cameras in this room. Before your house, I'm your house guest. That's one of the things I like about Denzel Washington. He always talks the same in every single movie, every single one. He will always string his words together and do it real fast. And when he does, I like it. It's sexy. Here for me, but they want me alive. You don't kill. Times are wasting. I just realized that's one of the things he does. He talks real fast. He does it like this and he will never, ever give a beat. Sometimes he doesn't even take a breath when he talks and he reads the whole line all in one. Just a whole thing. One thing. All the way in. All the way in. The way the United States has decided that we're going to build another nuclear site for the first time since 1978. President Obama has approved it. The nation's first nuclear power plant in a generation.
And it's going to be built in Georgia. Two nuclear reactors. Wow. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which I've never worked for them. The NRC. I interned for them, but I decided not to work there. Yeah. I had an offer. They voted four to one to approve two nuke reactors south of Augusta, Georgia. Wow. Could be done and being built by 2016. Wow. Yeah. It's pretty crazy. 5701949. Give us a call, nation. Want to hear from you? Say hi. You can talk about whatever you want. Oh, this was interesting, too. We all saw this this morning and felt like complete dummies. There's going to be a Democratic National Convention, and it's taking place this weekend in San Diego. Wow. Yeah. And, you know, the reason that, and I know it sounds ignorant, but I'm like, well. You know, the incumbent president is running. I wonder why they get together. We know who the nominee is. There is no nominee. It's our president. And so I wonder why they get together. But they do, apparently, they talk about some things that are meaningful to the Democratic Party. Ballot measures. Ah, yeah. Can you imagine? I can't. Dude, how boring it would be. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I can't even imagine. My student government meetings in college, I wanted to. Oh.
Gosh. How about any meeting ever? Yeah. I can't imagine a student government class in college. No, it was not a class. It was elective. It was a club. Oh, a club. Extracurricular. Well, what would that, if that were a course of study, what would it be? Political science. Okay. Imagine the political science major who is in class and just. Riveted. Lapping it up. Lapping it up. Everyone there except me. Unreal. Let's see. We have an enviro scientist on the line with us right now from Orange County. How are you? I'm good. Hey, I wanted to call to say goodbye to my family. What is going on? What are you talking about? Well, for the past year and a half, I've been driving down to San Diego for work every day. I discovered you guys and have listened to you every morning. I got a job running a wildlife refuge in American Samoa. Oh, wow. So today is my last day here. When do you go? I leave the 22nd. Wow. Have you ever been there before? I have not. What the heck is the weather like? It's tropical, like Hawaii. Do you have a boyfriend? I have a husband. So he's obviously going with you, right?
Yes, he is. So he had to quit his job. He actually worked for himself, so he didn't have to. Wow, you guys got kids? Nope. But our family's going to take care of our cats. Look at you. Wow. That's pretty awesome. Going to America and Samoa. Good for you. Will you have internet there? I'm going to miss you guys. Lauren, I met you. Yeah. I need to know the answer to Jay's question. Will you have internet there? They said that... It's In-N-Out. Oh, you'll have In-N-Out there, but not In-N-Out. In-N-Out is apparently there. In-N-Out's good fresh. It's fresh. Delicious. Well, thank you for the call and good luck and God bless. It's been a huge part of my life. We love you. Thank you very much. Thank you. I have some pretty compelling audio next. Happened yesterday in Denver. You know how they do those live television breaks where... They'll have pets on the show. Yep. You know what a bull mastiff is? Yes. They're pretty badass. Yep. And they are, like, tough looking. They kind of look like a bulldog and a pit bull. You know, that's what they look like. Well, apparently there was this hero in Denver that dove into this icy water and saved this bull mastiff, right? So they have him in studio interviewing the two of them.

And I got an email from somebody that said that they used him and just absolutely flipped out over how quick he works with you and all that stuff. So, uh, anyway, I was telling you about this woman on television. Now the audio is not that great because it was recorded, uh, like kind of with a recorder from the TV, but, uh, like when Jay did it. Yes, exactly. Uh, but this woman was, she's a woman, but her name is Kyle.
Kyle Dyer. Oh, that's hot for a girl. Yeah, it is. And she is on Denver's Nine News. And she was doing an interview about the rescue of this 85-pound bull mastiff. Wow. Now, they look like a pit bull. They look like a combo of a pit bull and like a bulldog. Oh, man. Now, this animal fell through a lake on Tuesday. It was chasing a coyote. And this firefighter, who is a hero, his name is Tyler, he secured a lifeline, put on a wetsuit, and he went into the ice, and he pulled this dog out, you know, and got the dog out safely. So they're doing this interview, right? In the studio, they've got the dog, they've got the firefighter. This woman, this dainty Kyle Dyer, is sitting there, and she's petting the dog the whole time.
Right at the end of the interview, she puts her face a little too close to the dog's face. Oh, gosh. Oh, yeah. Got her right on the lip. That's a bad dog. Well, here's the deal. It's not a bad dog. I'll tell you what the deal is. And I think that if we were to talk to Cesar Millan, he would tell you what the deal is. The dog felt threatened because she got her snout too close to his snout. Oh, God.
And to a dog, that is an act of aggression. Dogs shouldn't bite. Oh, man, you're going to get woodsy all freaked out. I'll bite you in the face. Are you kidding me? Dogs shouldn't bite. You're kidding me. That's their defense mechanism. Dogs should not bite. What if a coyote comes and gets them? Oh, then they should bite. Then it's okay. Yeah. Hang on. So a dainty little lady. The reason that it happened is because she got too close to his face. She got too close to his face. And it was instinctual for the dog. You can get my dog's face. He won't bite you. Well, he knows you, though. He won't bite me. Your dog didn't fall through. Your dog wasn't traumatized by falling through ice. True. My dog falls through ice all the time. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done with him. I'm done. It's going to turn his mic off. I'm furious. Woodsy is a animal. Dogs can do wrong in his world. Particularly dogs. And I don't blame this animal. I mean, it is instinctual. First down. First strike. It is instinctual. They're animals. That's what people need to remember. Yeah. They are wild animals that we domesticated. See, you guys hate dogs. That we domesticated. I'm hyperventilating. I love dogs, but it's not the dog's fault. It is the dog's fault. It is not. He bit.
He's a dog. Kids can climb all over him. Different breeds are wired differently, but I think Woods makes a good point. This dog was traumatized. It was in a studio with a bunch of lights. It was probably freaked out as it was, and she put her face right up into his face into a dog in dog language that is aggressive, and it was defending itself. How about a growl? Okay. Oh, my God. There is a... Now, this I could not understand. I said the other day, get ready for this beautiful weekend. Yeah, you do. You're selling it real good. I was telling everybody. Me too. I was telling... I called my parents. Hey, listen. All I got was... That's all I was getting on the news. That's all I'm reading in the newspaper. That's all... I mean, everything is saying it's going to be beautiful weather. Well, now... Now, UT San Diego says... The high-pressure system that set temperatures about 10 degrees above normal yesterday will fade on Friday. Gosh darn it, Mike. I was barely outside yesterday. I was like, hey, it's going to be a great weekend. I think you jinxed it, pal. Just keep it to yourself next time. Maybe I don't read the weather next time.
Jinxed it. Yeah, so it's going to... Gosh. It's going to fade today, be replaced by a low-pressure system this weekend that will prevent temperatures from rising above the low 60s along the coast. You dirty man. Mikey. You jinxer. Gosh, dude. There's also a small chance that there will be isolated showers. Mike! Mike! Come on! On Saturday afternoon. You know what? I tried. All I did, I just read what I had. Come on, Mike. All you can do is give the information that's given to you. You're that guy when your home team runs out to kick the game winner from 20. We got this in the bag. It's a done deal. You're too reported. Yeah, you're too reported, dude. Mike. Thanks for ruining my opening baseball week. I appreciate it.
Let's do this. Align with us right now. M1 Surf Daddy from Encinitas. Who do you want to represent you in buzzword? OP Dub. OP Dub. Woods in the house. Hang on. WW Weird. M1 Lisa from Lakeside. Who do you want? Mikey. Wow. What? A change of events. M1 Dispatcher from IB. You got LOB, okay? All right. Thank you. All right. Hang on a line. Enthusiastic. Enthusiastic. Today, we're playing for a DeWalt lithium-ion rotary hammer kit. Whoa! From the Professional Contractor Supply, formerly Tulip. Having a sell on everything DeWalt next Saturday. All the info is on FM949SD.com. Maybe they give me one of those. That sounds cool. All right. You guys ready to do this? What does it mean when you have a sell?
No, Lauren, what he was trying to say is you have a sail. A sail. A sail. Oh, you're dead. Then he gets mad and over-enunciates. He gets mad and over-enunciates. A sail. I wonder who's going to win in a tie. What's the word? What's the word, Jay? Today's word is bull. Bull. B-U-L-L? B-U-L-L. Okay, I wasn't sure if it was B-O-W-L. Well, I thought he was saying bill. Here we go. Go ahead. Bull, bull. A mean pooch. Bulldog. A mean pooch. A mean pooch. Here we go. Earth mover. Bulldozer. What's wrong with us, Woods? I have no idea. We haven't said anything. Here we go. Oh, gosh. A matador's event. Bullfighter. Ass word. What was it? What was it? Nike bullfight. Weird, he knew that. Yeah, no kidding. On delay. Here we go. Costner. Oh, wow. Playing baseball. I had no idea what that word he said was. I think Woods said bull Durham. Yes. Yeah. A large amphibian. Bull in a china shop. Oh, God. Croker. Bull shark. Bull. There's a tie. Was it? Yes, it was. It was a tie. It was a tie. 100%. What's the score? What's the score? It's Mike three, Lauren one, Woods two. This is a race. Here we go. Stubborn. Bull. Weird. Chit chat.
Oh, gosh. Bull S. Shoot the bull. There you go, Maggie. Shoot the bull? Yeah, shoot the bull. That's a phrase? Yes, yes. I almost cursed. I know. I know. I stopped myself and said S. Here we go. Oh, my gosh. A microphone. Bullet and China shop. Oh, my God. There you go. Oh, wow. Stop saying bullet and China shop. A microphone. Bullet and China shop. God. I can't get it out of my head. It's screwing with me. Here we go. Oh, gosh. The pitchers won. Bull in a china shop. Bullpen. Bullpen. Bullpen. Did you say it first, Lauren? No, she didn't. I thought I heard bull in a china shop. Adam says tie. Tie. Thank you, Adam. Adam's a good judge. So now me and Woods are tied. Are tied with four and I'm one behind with three. Oh, my God. This is a race. Oh, my God. Here we go. Oh, God. The word is still bull. Okay.
What's a steel bull? To assume control of a situation. Take a bull by the horns! You scream it a little louder. Dang it! I got a new word for you. I got a new word for you. What's the score? The score is Mike 4, Lauren 3, Woods 5. M1 Surf Daddy, Woods is doing very well for you. Weird. Yeah, buddy. Hang on. That word was bull ass. Yeah, we need a new word. I got a new word for you. The word is great. Great. G-R-E-A-T. Let's do this. Come on, let's go. I don't like this word. Come on. Here we go. Goodness. Gracious. Gracious. Great balls of fire. There you go. Oh, gosh. The teehee dance. The teehee dance. She's a teehee dancer. Jaws was one. Great. I think it was actually Mikey. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Adam doesn't know either. Come on, man. It's so strange that he was the first one. You were the second one. You were just second. No, I wasn't. Yes, you were. I would say I was in there, too. Oh, my God. You were, but you and Woods were more tied. I can't believe that Woods thought that he said the word first. Yes. I'm going to have to request a tape run on this. Okay, do it. It's so strange that Woods believed.
believes that he said the word first. Probably because he did. This is a tight game. Here we go. You're a DJ. Here we go. You're a DJ. Here, thank you. What's the word? Great. Tony, the tiger. Great. They're great. They're great. They're great. L-O-B. Gosh darn it. Gosh darn it. Gosh darn it. Are we tied? Are we tied? It's a three-way tie. Three-way tie. Is it? It's a three-way tie. High five. How strange is it? That Woods thought that he had said the word first. How strange is it that Woods gets hosed out of a win again? Here we go. Wrinkling Brothers. Great Circus. The Great Circus. Why is your hand in your pants, Woods? I don't know. I'm still looking for Wrinkling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey. Circus. Great Brothers Circus. The Greatest Girl on Earth. Son of a bitch. Nice one. Great Brothers Circus. Great Brothers Circus. Great show. I had all kinds of stuff going on there. Here we go. Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Man, I'm going to give it to Mikey and Woods. Yeah, that was a tie. Tie? Calm down, Woods. Yeah, better set tie. Australia's that Woods thought that he said the word. Here we go. Oh, gosh. It began. Great Depression. Great Expectations. Great Depression is the correct answer. Yeah. Oh, wow.
Oh, my God. This is the closest game we've ever had. No. No. It's Woods and Lauren have six, and Mike has seven. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. I've never won this game. I've never won. That's a true statement. Here we go. I've got two remaining questions. Oh, my God. Your mom's mom's mom. Great-great-grandmother. I'm going to give it to both of you. You tied on that one. Wow. How about a two-pointer? Let's see. What's the score here? One more time. Mike, eight. Lauren, seven. Woods, six. Yeah, Woods should have the opportunity. Three-pointer. I'm going to give it a three-pointer. Yeah, three-pointer. This is it. For all the marbles. For all the freaking marbles. Here we go. A big, strong. A great big man. Reed of Dog. Great name. Great name. Great name. Great name. Yeah. Great name. Suck it. Oh, my gosh. By the way, there is no doubt in my mind, Woods at some point will have to have a hip replacement. Yeah. Because he was just hip thrusting. The air so violently that the air needs a shower. He had his hand in his... Let me tell you something. The air in this room is going to go to HR today. Oh, yeah. I got it good. And tell HR what Woods did to it. Yeah, the HR... Never mind. Say it. Eject.
Surf Daddy Woods did it for you. What a nail-biter. That's right, man. Best game we've ever had. Woods came from behind, and he was able to get it for you, so hang on, okay? Every single ounce of energy that I had. Can I just say in my last answer, I screamed out a great big man? A great big man. So great. Imagine if Jay had been like, that's right, a great big man. A great big man is the answer. I looked at him like, that's going to be it. Great big man. Lauren is correct with a great big man. Oh, God. Let's see. What else have I got for you? My head hurts. Oh, man. I had some cool stories today. You guys know who Maya Rudolph is? Yes. Poet. No, that's Maya Angelou. Oh. She used to be on SNL. She was in Bridesmaids. Oh, yeah, I know her.
She's good. She's funny. She's going to host for the first time. Good. It'll be good. February 18th. Her and Kristen Wiig back together. I never like the bit, though, when they have old people, because then it's just like the same show. That's good, though. Jimmy Fallon was amazing. He was a host a couple weeks ago. It just seems like, but we've already seen you do it. No, they put him in characters that they've not been. That they've never done. Would you like to see Eddie Murphy host? Yes. That's different. Steve Martin. That's Eddie freaking Murphy. That's Eddie Murphy. I'd do any. It'd be the highest rated SNL ever. You guess who the musical guest is going to be? Crosby, Stills, and Nash. No. Bread. Nope. I'll tell you. Ambrosia. No. I'll tell you. Sleigh Bells. I'm not kidding. Sleigh Bells will be the musical guest. Cool. Zooey Deschanel is going to be hosting this weekend. I'm over her. Me too. With musical guest Carmen. At least she's not the musical guest. What? At least she sings. She sings and it's, I really can't say. Carmen? No, Zooey Deschanel. She also sings. She's a singer, too. Oh, and she does that type of stuff? I really can't say. Yeah. And mama can't pack it. That's freaking identical, Zooey Deschanel. Wow. Give me one more second. Come on, Ellie. Give me a word. I really can't say.
I really can't sing. Antonio Holmes. That is identical. Zoe Deschanel, apparently. I had no idea. Oh, my God. Clear your throat. So do I. Now, let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Woods is dying to know what the deal is with L.O.B. She is fanning herself right now because she knows what's coming next. And I'm going to ask her about it. I don't know the details. All I know is that Lauren did something yesterday that is shocking. I'm not underselling. I'm not overselling it. I'm not overselling it. When we come back and we tell you what Lauren did yesterday, you will not feel that I oversold it. You'll go, what? I can't wait. This is The Mikey Show. I like it. I like it. It's stuff that, it's like wrong merchandise they got. Too many of an item. Damaged, blemished stuff. Now, when I tell you that they cut the prices on this stuff, I mean they cut the prices on this stuff. I'm talking like a recliner, a nice recliner that regularly goes for like 500 bucks. It's good for 200 bucks. Yeah, $200. So it's highly discounted stuff. It's priced to sell. You got to go into a Jerome's today. Tell him Mikey sent you in there. It's really, really good stuff. But Lauren O'Brien will be up there dancing and doing her thing, choreographed dancing. Her recap is simply two sentences. Are you ready? I'm ready. I stormed out of our dance rehearsal and mad cried last night. Discuss if you must. Woods has his...
Woods is... I read it. My jaw dropped open. Woods has his... Oh, my gosh. Woods is looking at Lauren like, you specimen. You are something special. I'm going to sit back. This is one of those. You just sit back. You sit back and you just put your feet up and you just take it in. And you just go, what happened? Fire away. And by the way... Yes. The women all witnessed this. Yep. Oh, no. It was humiliating. You're going to make me cry with that. Oh, gosh. Oh, come on. I got so mad. Can you get through this without a tear falling? I got teared up just thinking about it. Oh, gosh, gosh, gosh, gosh, gosh. And by the way, if there are any girls that are listening that were there, 570-1949. I'm sure they'll all be really nice because they were after I apologized. Oh. Oh, my God. I got to go. This.
One right here. Oh, gosh. The scientific name is something else. She is freaking out. Really something else. I was so ashamed of myself. 570-1949. If there are any of the 10 girls listening right now, call us so that we get your recount as well. What happened? Her eyes are filled up with tears. Oh, gosh. So ashamed of myself. What happened? I would like to thank Nikki at a bit of burlesque. for the record, because she had to witness that and keep it together and keep the rest of the room together after I stormed out. Stormed out. She's an incredible teacher and very patient. Woods just opened the door to the studio and put his head out to breathe oxygen. She probably hasn't seen, unless she teaches six-year-olds as well, has probably never seen that. Oh my gosh, Lauren. I have a big, giant baby. Here's the deal. So I'm used to like... It must have been bad because the girls aren't even calling. Yeah. Please call. Please call. There's one. Gosh. One's coming through. Go ahead, Lauren. Here's what happened. I'm used to like, you know, I was an athlete growing up. I'm used to kind of excelling at things. I've never done...
choreographed dance before ever I did take when I was like 25 I took a ballet class but it was so simple and there was no like routine it was just like here's how you do this here's how you do that and like whatever so I was feeling pretty confident like I was like getting stuff down that I was like wow I didn't know I was capable of this this is pretty good right then we got to one move that I just could I could I simply could not get it and everybody else was getting it. Right. And they had also done it in the audition process. At least that's what they told me to make me feel better. Oh, wow. And first time I messed it up. Wait, let me pause you. I just looked over at Woods and Jay, and they have the most curious looks on their face. They have a look on their face like, this is real. This is real. I know. Can you believe it? Yeah. And so what happened? The first time I couldn't get it, I was just like, oh, come on. I like slapped my leg and was like, start over. Second time I didn't get it. And I just stood there while the rest of the dance went on and put my hands on my hips. Because I was like, really? Really with this? Like, really? You can't get it? Third time it happened, I went, come on! At yourself. At myself. Yes.
Every show must go on, so everybody else kept a smile on their face and did the rest of the dance. Fourth time it happened, I stormed out. When you say stormed out, what did that look like? What did it look like? What did you do? I slapped my hands on my legs, threw my arms in the air, and I marched out the back door of the studio to go stand outside. Did you grab your stuff, or did you just... No, no, no, no. I knew I was coming back. It was breathing. I had to take a breather because I was so mad. I wasn't mad at anyone but myself. And then I was mad at myself for getting mad at myself. M1 Claudia is one of the dancers. She's right next to me. She was right next to me. She dances next to you. Claudia, are you there? Yeah. So you witnessed the storm out. Yes. Now, this is the main question. This is the main question. Were you... I just thought maybe she forgot something in the car. She left some coordination out there. She wanted to go grab some coordination out of her car. Here's the thing. We know L.O.B. We know her intimately. She is our good friend. So I can see that she got a little upset with herself and stormed out. But to the average observer who doesn't know her the way that we know her, I wonder if you were like,
Okay, so you thought she went to get something in her car. Well, no, I could tell she was upset, but I think she's a little harder on herself. She was doing amazing. She was absolutely fine. I mean, we all missed a few steps here and there, but I think she was just too focused and she just wanted to get it right. She's a perfectionist. You know what? I'll leave. Thank you for the call because we have another girl that dances. This is M1 Blueberry from San Diego. Oh, yes. Hi, Blueberry. Hello. Well, they're both phenomenal dancers. Yes. Why, thank you. Now, Blueberry, my question for you is when L.O.B. stormed out, how long was she gone? Well, here's the thing. I guess I'm super self-absorbed or something, but I did not notice that you ever left the room. Didn't even miss you. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. I noticed, well, I'm all the way over on the end, like the opposite end of the room. Yeah. And when the girl next to me went over and hugged L.O.B., I was like, oh, what's going on? Oh, wow, wow, wow, wow. L.O.B. has her face buried in her hands. L.O.B. has her face buried in her hands. Oh, my gosh. That's what made me cry. Oh, gosh. When the girl came to comfort you? Yes.
Raven. Look at me. If someone shows kindness, you lose it. I have a legitimate question. Because then you know someone feels sorry for you, which draws even more attention to the fact that something bad is occurring. Go ahead, Woods. I have a legitimate question. This is actually a legitimate question. Are you on your period? No. Okay. It was just a legitimate question. I really am not. It's a legitimate question. Okay. It's a mad cry. Yeah. You guys know the mad cry. I know it. I do it. We know the mad cry. It's the mad cry. I felt, and then the more that, like, I went outside because I was like, you're being ridiculous. Yes. Like, lighten up. Yeah. Have fun. Yeah. You're ruining everyone's fun. Oh, gosh. And you're messing up people's consequences. Oh, my God. Woods is sweating. I can't believe it. I can't believe it. Woods, Woods, Woods, Woods. Did this pay off or what? When I said I had something to tell you. When I said I had something to tell you at 7 a.m., did this pay off or what? It was like I wanted a piece of steak, but I didn't know I was getting a ribeye from Pample Moose. It delivered to me, and I'm like, oh, my God. Yeah, on a silver platter. Yes, with a lobster tail. When I said to you, it's not going to disappoint, I wasn't kidding. Wow. You know me.
I come in in the morning, I grab the recap sheet, and I glance over, and I don't know what I'm going to get. Right. In general, it's usually light, innocuous, just kind of stuff. I read, I stormed out of our dance rehearsal and mad cried last night. Discuss if you must. She could have lied, too. She could have covered this up. Oh, yeah. I give her credit. And none of the girls probably would. And by the way. Call us, girls. Any girl that was there, 570-1949. They were trying to make me feel better because I had to apologize at the end of the night. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You're giving me heartburn. I hope that everyone... What's this taking a thumbs? This is making him so nervous. I really hope everyone can relate to this. The point that you get to where you're talking to yourself... Where you're like, just knock it off. All you need to do is knock it off. And you can go back and you don't have to keep this momentum moving forward. You can start over. But yourself is saying back to you.
I can't. I can't. I can't. I'm so angry. And you go, self, take it easy. I literally had to step outside. And I thought that the cold air would calm me down. There was two people also standing outside when I got out there. So I was like, how are you doing? And I could not gather. So then I got inside and I was like, all right, I'm over it. I'm totally over it. And I'm just going to power through. And it doesn't matter that I can't. And I think I missed the move again. And my eyes were welling up with mad tears. Oh, gosh. One of the girls, Raven, came over and said, L.O.B., and I don't even know what she said, because as soon as she said my name, I just was like, blah! You got your kiss. And then they were like, and everyone's like, you're doing great, and the whole rest of the night, I kept it. So they lied. The whole rest of the night, what? He said they lied. I know, but the whole rest of the night, what? I had a sourpuss on my face. Oh, God. And I was on the verge of tears all night, and I was like, I don't know. I'm not doing this anymore. Oh, my God. I was like, I'm going to have to call. You're going to call it off? I'm going to call Adam. I'm going to call off the whole thing. I'm begging. I'm begging one of the girls to call. I'm begging the girls. I'm begging one of the girls to call. We've gotten two of you. I need another one. Say the number again. There's eight more. 570-1949. Maybe we get Nikki on the phone. There are eight more of you out there. I need from your perspective what this was like. And here's the other deal.
This is the question that I haven't got the answer to. And I won't let L.O.B. can't answer this. Only one of the people there. And that question is. What did they do when she was outside? What did they say? What did they discuss? Did they all stand around nervously? Was it uncomfortable? Were they like, oh my gosh? The show must go on. They kept dancing. I could hear them. We have better off, Jay. Sometimes when people self-deprecate, you don't need to pile on. You don't pile on, Jay. Really? M1 Trixie from Ocean Beach. Are you there? I'm here, yeah. How are you doing? I'm good. You were there last night. She walked me out to my car. You walked LOB to her car? Yeah. We walked together. Were you inside when LOB stormed out? Yeah, we were all in there. We were doing our little dance. And I think we all just kind of looked like, should we, do we just keep going? Oh, gosh. That is fantastic.
And so when she stormed out and went outside and closed the door behind her, did you guys talk? You know, we didn't really talk. We definitely looked at each other. Just should someone go out there? What do we do? Yeah. I mean, I think all of us have kind of been in that situation when you're used to being good at something and then it just doesn't come to you right away. Yeah. Well, here's what you got to know about our friend L.O.B. Take the word perfectionist and then multiply it times a million. No, no, no. Take the word perfectionist, then take an eight and spin it on its side. Yeah. And, you know. To L.O.B.'s defense and credit, she told me yesterday, she's like, I've been practicing, I've been going home, I've been practicing. So she's working hard at this. This is not something that she's half-assing, and that makes it harder to not get it. How is it possible that I found two human beings that are the greatest scene in the movie? Woods is the funniest scene in any movie.
L.O.B. is the greatest scene in any movie. Jay turned out to be this whacked out weirdo. What? I mean, are you, this, you can't make this up. Can't make this stuff up. I was so ashamed of myself. That's why, like when I had the sourpuss on my face, I was like, you are 31 years old. That's what you just did? Did you feel like Mariah Carey? You stormed out and then you cried. Did you feel like Mariah Carey? No, I wasn't being a diva. I wasn't mad about this. No, I know you weren't being a diva. Did you feel like a diva? No. I would have felt like a diva. I didn't feel like a diva. I felt like a giant baby. Oh. Like, what kind of a baby are you? Oh, you are the greatest thing. That is just unbelievable. Did you tell your boyfriend? Because a diva would be like, stop. I need to. I need, yeah. We need to slow this down and learn this. But I was like, I'm ruining it. You know what? I was like, I had this thought in my head. I was like, there's 11 of us. We'll take me out. And we'll call it L.O.B.'s Dance Party, but I won't be in it. We'll just put the 10 girls that know what they're doing, and maybe Nikki, the instructor from A Bit of Burlesque, can take my place. She was going to make the call. The whole time I was trying to finish the dance routine, I was like, that's what's happening. I'm like, no chance I'm getting on stage. No way.
Absolutely not. It's over. Holy cow. You know what should make her feel better, though? What? That performance is in a week. Yeah, and it's going to be in front of a group. A live audience. Although that was all running through my head as well. 570-1949. There's still seven girls that have not called to give us a blow-by-blow account of L.O.B. storming out of a rehearsal last night because she couldn't stick a move. And then crying, and then at the end of the night going... I just want to apologize to everyone. Yes, L.O.B. Give me that. Give me that. How did that go down? We met outside because there was another class that came in. We started discussing what we were going to wear, like costuming and stuff like that. And everyone was asking questions and saying their piece and stuff like that. And Nikki, the instructor from A Bitter Burlesque, said something like, you know, and don't worry. There's a couple of moves that you guys, if you need to work on, we'll work on it next time. We've got all day to rehearse on Sunday, blah, blah, blah. And I go. She's like, don't get upset. I was like, you mean you don't want to storm out and then cry afterwards? Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. And then I said, I have to apologize to everyone. And everyone was like, no, no. It's okay. I love me. It's okay. You're doing great. You should just wear smaller costumes. That could solve it. Yeah, it solves all your problems. That would solve it. That would solve it. Yeah, more skin equals less. Less focus on the moves, per se. Bend over a lot. Yeah.
Show the gift, let a butt to the audience? If at any point it seems like all the girls are doing the same thing and I just start doing the running man or something like that, you'll know that I screwed up and I'm trying to keep it going. Did you finally get it? I got it at home. You went home? Once I stopped thinking so hard about it, I was like, oh, I got it. It's fine. But I was too focused, because you're right, because I'm a perfectionist and I was trying to get it perfect. Stephen R. Woods. Yes, Michael R. Esparza. What would you have given? Anything. been a fly on that wall anything anything just to have audio to have audio or video of the storm if somebody came in it would you know if somebody came in right now if john travolta from pulp fiction walked in with a briefcase right now and he said in this briefcase is footage of that oh my gosh i'd be like
We got to pull our money together. We almost filmed it. Nikki had said she was going to film it so that we could roll the tape and practice at home. Because we learned a lot last night. We were dancing for like two hours. They learned a lot. Those girls learned a lot, too. They were like, wow, L.O.B. cried and got upset and stormed out of here. Stormed out first, then cried. Lauren, I'm a big... You know that I'm on your side because I am a big fan of the storm out. Woods is a... The storm out is a big player in Woods' life. Oh, yeah. And you see red. Oh, yeah. And you hear red. And I think that Nikki even said, are you okay? Are you okay? And I just... On your way out the door? And I had, like, blinders on. Total vision. I was like, I'm out. On your way out. Yes. Okay, Ella B., here's the other question. Oh. Walk me through the re-entry. Oh. Right, Woods? Oh, my God. Tail between your legs. And you're like, it's that moment where you go, I have to walk back in. Yep. And you're like, one, two, three, walking back in, walking back in, walking back in. I thought that I still had not really regained my composure. I still knew I was right on that edge where it's like, if I messed up again, I was going to cry because I was at mad cry point. What did your boyfriend, Matt Comer, say? He cracked up. He thought it was hilarious.
Oh, my gosh. I love it. Oh, my gosh. I am sorry. I am embarrassed. I am. You are delightful. Delightful. Is what you are. You are delightful. You're a treat. Yes. I'm going to give you a hug. You are a treat to behold. Woods, that's a lingering hug. That's a lingering hug. That's a lingering hug. I'm a little bit more. I've been there, L.O.B. Thank you. I feel for you. Are you crying? Well, you know what you're not going to do? You're not going to cry your contacts out because you don't wear them anymore. That's correct. Why? Why? Because I went to Dr. Sandy T. Feldman at Clearview Eye and Laser Medical Center. Yeah, it's a good time of year, you guys. It's one of those things where I like to say you need to treat yourself every now and then. They can help you with financing. You're going to get your tax return back. You're going to have a little extra money. Now's the time to, you know, spend it on yourself and get your eyes fixed and just be done with it. Yeah. People like to commiserate. People that have like. glasses and contacts. You're like, oh, it sucks. And then you sleep with a minute. Do something about it. Don't be one of those people anymore. It's so easy. It's affordable. And Dr. Sandy T. I said I could act. I'm an actor. On FM 94.9. I will just... Let me just put it to you this way. I think that M1 Robert put it best on our fan page when he said... Lauren O'Brien, you are a national treasure. There's no question. She is a national treasure. I am a grown-up little kid. You, my friend, Mike, have a scary eye for talent. Over there, that little angel. That little angel sitting there. I'm telling you. Two-second clip on YouTube. Look at her now. Two-second clip. Just storming out of rehearsals. You talk about fate. It's incredible. It's incredible. It's incredible. It's incredible. I mean, I'm not trying to have a wedding ceremony here with you. I'm just saying that it was nice that we got to meet one another. Yes. What the hell is... I don't know what's going on out there. I don't get spun out by weird stuff. That spun me out, what Jay just did. It's like a bachelor pad out there. He's such a strange guy. Yes. Am I? Aren't you? Aren't. What do you mean? You. What the hell's going on? I look out through the glass that separates Jay and I, which sometimes I'm grateful for. Yeah. And I'm looking at the lights off and a standing lamp that... You know, that you have when you're a bachelor. Yes. It's black. A black. With the half moon. Half moon on the top. Dome on the top. It's got a fader on it. That has a fader and you can adjust it. Are you going to, hey, Greg Brady, are you going to put beads up in there too? Are you doing cocaine in there? Why don't you have that? Where's the lava lamp? You guys. Uh-huh.
Or have your special lighting that Mikey had to have. No, no, actually, no. It's just lighting. Well, you have track lighting. Yeah, it's track lighting. You have track lighting in the studio. Out here, I have fluorescence. So I sit underneath fluorescence every day. It is bright, and it's like... It drains you? Drains you. I hate them. My producer is way more of a diva than I am. So, I mean, he is way more of a diva than I could ever... ever be. Here's the difference. If you don't like something, you'll say it and you'll want somebody to do it. He'll just do it. He'll do it. You see him out there drilling holes. I wonder what he's doing. He's like, oh, I'm putting a bathroom in. I'm like, you are? I found a lamp graveyard. There's a lamp graveyard here at the building. He finds everything. That's code for stole. He let the door open. Technically. He is something else. Adam, put him on hold. Put him on hold. Let's see. This is M1 Richie from San Ysidro. What was the word of the day? Ceremony. Correct. Dude, you got yourself a pair of flights to Mammoth Mountain. Wow. And $75 gift code for proflowers.com. Are you married or have a girlfriend? I have a girlfriend. There you go.
What's that? You guys just saved me. Yeah? Yeah, we did. Yeah, we did. Big bouquet. And you're qualified for Dinner for Two at the Palm Restaurant downtown, bro. Oh, you're guaranteed. Hang on the line, okay? Thank you. So here's what we've learned this morning. Lauren O'Brien is a perfectionist who stormed out of a rehearsal last night and mad cried. Yes. We have learned that today is my seventh anniversary with my... lovely wife Rebecca, and we've also learned that Jay apparently likes lamp lighting. Ambient lighting. Ambient lighting. I love lamp. He's going to hang a nagel out there. Yeah. I feel like that's going to catch fire. Yeah. Something's going to happen. Touching claw. By the way, by the way, by the way, by the way, Woods, this is the same man. This is the same man that said to me,
Mike, you can't just put a printer in there because... True story. You can't just bring in stuff from the outside and draw power and... That is true. For the record, it looks better out there. Yeah, it feels good too. It's very homey and inviting. Yeah, come on out. If by homey and inviting... You mean a serial killer's apartment? Mm-hmm. Then yes. Yeah. Well, that's how they get them there. That's true. Dahmer just called and said, your room looks weird. Yeah. Your room's weird. Okay. So listen to the following statistic and tell me what you think about it. You see, Yahoo reports that 3% of men now take their wife's last name. Yeah. What? The only thing I could add to that get is an exclamation point. That's right. Ladies, you now have a one in 33 chance that your husband will take your last name. Why would you do that? According to a company that handles the name-changing process for newlyweds, last year, 3% of men took their wife's last name. Another 2% of men...
Either created a hybrid last name using both last names or did the hyphenated thing. How's your vagina? Why? Why is this? Why? Why? The hybrid one is the worst one. Of course. It's like taking Smith and Jackson and making it Smaxxon. Oh, my gosh. That's not a real name. That's not a real name. That's neither of your names. Imagine if I were. Mike Summers Esparza. Stephen Honeycutt Woods. I like the sound of that. Stephen Honeycutt Woods. It just seems so emasculating. Yeah. Yes. Seems unnecessary. Unnecessary? Emasculating? Shocking. Wear the pants, guys. Come on. I mean, listen. This is coming from a guy that unabashedly takes bubble baths. Yeah, you. I do. I've said it. Yep. Hey, listen, when I get a cold and I'm chilled and I got the goosebumps, there's nothing better than a boiling, and I mean like, you could put eggs in there and make hard-boiled eggs. A boiling hot bath. I'm going to see the Val, and I want to go see it. There you go. Okay? See? I would not take her last name. I would not. Sorry. I would not take my wife's last name. That makes sense.
570-1949. Here they come. M1 Linda from Mira Mesa. Your husband did this. He did it because he's French. He's French? Sorry. Okay. And his last name was Lopez. And I had a French last name, so he wanted my last name. Wait, he's French? His last name is Lopez? Lopez. Yeah, his dad was from Spain and his mom was from Italy. So why did he take your last name? Because I had a French last name. He was from France. From France. But his lineage was Spanish. Spanish-Italian. Spanish-Italian? It's Italian. Okay. And so he wanted, he desperately wanted, desperately. Desperately. I mean, he had to have a French last name. Gouthier. I'm most fancy French woman. There's more to the story. My kingdom for a Goulier. Ah, she's laughing. Well, there's more to the story, too. Go ahead. I mean, he did abandon a child in Africa, and he didn't want anybody to track him down with his last name. Well, that certainly... Oh. Well, that... Well, that certainly is different, isn't it? I am running from the African authorities.
If Ben wants to take your last name, find out why. Yes, absolutely. You guys still married? Oh, no. Uh-oh. No, we got the divorce after I tried to kill her. Oh. Les poissons. Yes. Croissant. Yes. Yes, croissant. Thank you, Jay. Thank you for your contribution. I said the fish. I said the fish. It's not much better. Thank you for your contribution to our French fries. French bread. Uh-huh. French kiss. This is... Great. M1 Getty Burger from Escondido. Are you there? Hey, how's it going? It's going good. Did you take your wife's last name? Yes, I did. Oh, boy. Why? Tell. The way I see marriage is you're taking two people and making them one. Why would one last name have to leave? That's the way I see marriage. Okay. I think we both see marriage the same way. I mean.
But why wouldn't you become one with your last name? Why would the other name have to leave, though? Wait, you're answering my question with a question. If you could answer, I'm dying to have this answer. I agree with your thought process here. Two are becoming one. But why not become one with your last name? Because the other name disappears. Because what? Because the other name disappears. So you hyphenated? Yes. Because the other name disappears. Now, and if the other name disappears, what's wrong with that? It seems like the person is no longer one anymore because we're taking two and making one. So if we're taking two, we take a little bit from each. You're actually taking two and making two. If you were making one, you'd have one last name. You do. It's a hyphenated last name is what he's saying. It's a hyphenated last name. There's still two names. Still two names. Yeah. I mean, hey, to each... To each their own. To each their own. To each their own. You know, I guess it... Now, whose idea was it? Yours or hers? Both of ours. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. You see, it's impossible for it to be both of your ideas simultaneously because that would mean...
that you would have said it at the same exact time, which I know didn't happen. So someone had to suggest the idea. Who was it? She did. Weird. Weird. That. That. Well, actually, we have a daughter together. We met her before we got married. Okay. And our daughter has both of our last names as well. We basically took her name. Got it. Got it. Got it. Okay. Thank you for the call. I don't want to scare anyone away. That's why I'm trying to be delicate here. I don't want to scare anybody away because this is fascinating. We have M1 Jackie on the line from Kearney Mesa. And you say there's a psychological reason for this. Of course. I'm an amateur psychologist. Love it. Love it. And Mikey, I feel like you already know what I'm going to say. I think there's something that was going on with the dad or the family before he decided to take his wife's last name. I think he doesn't like what his history was. And he's like, I'm changing it. Oh, yeah. Like he he he just he hated his dad. Yeah. He hated his dad so much that he don't want to be Johnson anymore. Exactly. Or like your dad was a murderer.
Something ugly. That was definitely a strong example. Well, okay, let's say you're one of Jerry Sandusky's kids. Seriously. And you meet a woman and her last name is Smith. You're like, all right, I'm Steve Smith from now on. All right, so guess what, Woods? You just convinced me. If, in fact, you are named Theodore Bundy. Yeah. Okay, done. Manson. Yes, if your name is Chuck Manson and you're getting married, I'm cool with you being Chuck Willis. Yeah. Adam almost took his wife's name. For real. Green card. What? Green card. Green card. Really? Chubbs? Oh, hey. He'll get you too. He's from the J school of insults. Adam. What? My last name is Martinez. Yes. Which is... Pretty common in San Diego. Yeah. My wife's last name is Baldwin. Yes. And it was more of a work kind of thing, working in radio to be able to stand out a little bit, have a different name. And, you know, honestly, I think there's a racism involved that I think I could get in a few more doors. You were... You were... I'm not embarrassed. Not embarrassed. It was a career thing. Wait. Aren't you, by definition, embarrassed if you want to escape Martinez? No, I'm looking to differentiate. Like Charlie Sheen. Yeah.
There's a ton of Martinez's in San Diego. I just need a different cat. I will say this. The Baldwin thing makes sense because, first of all, it's a badass name. Adam Baldwin? It is a badass name. But Andy Baldwin is the former bachelor who also is a San Diego person. Who? There's that. Andy and Adam. But Adam, that one makes sense to me. Guys in radio. The guy's in radio. So the name Adam Baldwin had a ring to it. That makes sense to me. I have a legitimate question for him. Go ahead, Woods. This is a legitimate question. This is a legitimate question. Why are you embarrassed of your Mexican heritage? Why do you hate Mexicans? I don't. I just want to make more money. No, you know what? If you want to make more money, it actually... is in your best interest to be Mexican because they want to hire a diverse... Not in San Diego. Everywhere else in the world, maybe, but in San Diego, it doesn't help. Mike, you were Michael Shannon because you were embarrassed about being... No, no, no, no. That is not a true statement. I was Michael Shannon because...
My boss was embarrassed of being Mike Esparza. Yeah, he absolutely was. In fact, when I was on the air at Rock 102, I first went by Mike Esparza. And there was a guy that came on after me named Vinny. Or came on before me. He was on before me. And I was coming up next on the air. And he said, hey, Mike, he's coming up next. I had never called myself Mikey before. And he said, Mikey's coming up next. I get a phone call during my air shift from my program director. And he goes, Vinny called you Mikey when you were coming up next. And I said, yeah, that was cool. I think you should go by. And I go, oh, yeah, no, I don't want to because I like Mike Esparza. Call yourself Mikey. Greg, did you hear me? I like my name. I like Mike Esparza. I want to stay Mike Esparza. I think you need a chance. You didn't have a choice. Was Vinny from the East Coast? Yeah. Because I have Bobby, Joey, Timmy. If the guy's named Tim, he's going to be Timmy. I'd be Stevie. Well, this fascinates me. 3% of men are taking their wives.
Last name. I mean, I would never do it. No, to each their own, but I couldn't do it. Let's see. This is M1 Dave. Are you there, Dave? Yes, I am. Go ahead. I got to tell you, I used to work for a very tough black lady. She was a principal at an inner school, inner city school. She had some great advice for the ladies. Her advice was take their time, take their money, take their pride if you have to, but do not take their last name. Why? Why? Why? She feels, and she was a career woman, that by doing so, you're giving yourself up. If a guy falls in love with you, he falls in love with you for who you are and what you will be. And that's for you to define. Me and that woman would not get along at all. Me either. I wouldn't get along with her at all. Could you walk into her and say, hey, why don't I smell anything cooking in here? Yeah. Do you think she'd be cool with, hey, toots? Yeah. What's cooking? Hey, hon.
You didn't fold my shirts the right way. Just kidding. I'll tell you, though, as a teacher, we had a teacher. Her name was Mrs. Chepigan. And then she got divorced and she changed to Miss Cecil. And we would like look at her and be like, she got a divorce. Yeah. What happened? Right. Like if you have to change your name like that as a teacher or anything where people are going to like. Scandalous. Yeah. Scandalous. And we had a sales. You can't get married and be like, I'm going to keep my name. J-I-C. That's what I'm going to do. Just in case. Let's not put the carriage before the horse. Yeah. If I get married. Lauren. You're changing your name. I'm telling you that right now. You're changing your name. That's what Matt says. I have to. When you say that you are not changing your name, you're doing a bit with me, right? It's a bit. Because you know it makes me crazy. No, because people don't know me as L-O-whatever or L-whatever it'll be. O and B are part of L-O-C. We'll call you L-O-C. What's the O for there? It's not Lauren O'Commerce, though. Yeah. But that's kind of fun. I like L-O-C. Lauren O'Commerce is kind of fun. L-O-C. L-C? You can keep your professional name as Lauren O'Brien. Yeah, that's what I'll do. Right, but you would change your name legally. It just seems like a pain. It is a pain. It is a pain. No, it's a pain. It's a pain, but you've got to do it. It's a pain.
So is having a baby. Maybe if I got married like 10 years ago, like a lot of people did, like when they were in their early 20s, then I would have. But now that I'm 31, it's like, well, I've had this name for a long time. I mean, who knows? I could be midlife right now. Lauren, you can't do this. No, Lauren, no, no. Well, we grow accustomed to our balls and we give those over as soon as we get married. So it's the same thing. Keep them in a jar. Oh, my gosh. Fair enough. Oh, my gosh. You guys get your hands on those real good. Oh, yeah, we do. That day. Oh, my gosh. Well, the Mikey Show is getting even better because when we come back, we're going to do the iPod sing-along. Some album that was number one. Some other big album. Oh, it's the Van Halen deal. That's what it was. Yeah, listen to this. Take me a second to find it. Here we go. Van Halen's new album. Uh...
is on track to sell 180,000 copies. And by the way, I think the reason for that is the way that they marketed it. They were putting little clips of it on YouTube. Yeah. And I think that there's going to be bands that take a cue from that and go, wow, it really worked. New bit. Yeah, I wouldn't have bought that album. And her album, Adele's album, 21. has been on the charts for 13 months, and it was number one for the 19th time. I mean, it's just unbelievable, man. It's really good. Yeah. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? Oh, man, that's a great question for you to ask me. Okay, all right. What exactly is going on in sports right now. The New York Jets have actually, it was a surprising move. They agreed. That's making me nervous. Is there water in there? Yeah, there's water in there. Oh, gosh. Sorry. Oh, sorry. It's okay. I thought that was, I was like, if that thing. If it falls, it's over. Yeah. They, the New York Jets have actually re-signed receiver San Antonio Holmes, which, San Antonio, San Antonio Holmes. I do. Gosh darn it. My wife does it and it gets me doing it. And you can't stand it when she does it. I'm like, it's San Antonio.
Gosh darn. But he was guaranteed his 2012 salary of $7.75 million. But they have re-signed him. They got him another $7.5 million guarantee, $15.25 million in guarantees. And he was kind of a pain towards the end of the year. A lot of the guys were commenting that he had quit on the team. Really? Yeah. So it was a crazy, crazy thing. But they did re-sign him so the Jets will have one of their weapons. This story may get you. Jerry Sandusky, who is the Penn State defensive, former defensive coordinator who is up on a lot of child sexual abuse charges, is expected to go before a judge on Friday. It's the first time we've seen him since he waived his preliminary trial back in December. He wants to see his grandkids really bad. And that's one of the things he's going to be asking the judge for today. What kind of rocks does it take to even, like, you moron. Brother. This part is it's just it's insane. And it's pretty obvious this guy's got a problem. They interviewed one of his neighbors yesterday. Now, Jerry Sandusky, if you didn't know, lives in front of an elementary school. And that is a true story. Oh, wow. And the neighbor.
Appeared on camera and said, look, we see him. He stands outside. He watches kids all day long. How is that possible? I don't. That Jerry Sandusky stands outside and watches kids all day and no one from the press takes pictures of that? Well, this neighbor took video, six minutes a video of Sandusky just standing there watching kids. It's going to be on. You'll see it by the end of the day today. Oh, gosh. Oh, my gosh. Lamont Elementary lives right in front of it. Oh. It makes your stomach. It makes you sick. Oh, gosh. That's so filthy, man. Yeah, so he's going in front of a judge today. Okay, so this comes from a website called couponcabin.com. Now, check this out. They just did this big survey. And here's what they found. The number one reason that people will not go on a second date with somebody is poor hygiene. will be the deal breaker. Like, there can be a lot of factors about a person, male or female. Oh, yeah. But if there's bad hygiene, 84% of people say that they will not go on a second date. My question, who are the... What is the... I can't do the math. 16%. Who are the 16%? I'm good. I'm good. Yeah, a guy smells like B.O. I'm good. I'm in. Hippies.
Hippies. Hippies. People born without noses. Yes. Yes, people born without noses. The number two reason, using their cell phone too much. Mikey. I would never, I would never, in a gill, jillion years, do that on a date. Would it? No, dude. Wait, when you and Woods go out, you do? He has a point. If I were going. Put your tiny hand in mine. Oh, God. If I were going on a date. I would never use my cell phone in front of me. He is a good friend and a lover. I would never do that. Question. Yes. When you go out to dinner with your wife, do you do it? Yes. Oh. So does she. That's a date. So does she. I do it, too. I'm not judging. I do it. I do it. Hey, you people. I'm a monster, too. No. You don't go on dates. Yes, I do. Yeah, you do. That's a date.
What do you think the spirit of this is, you jackholes? Unmarried. Of course. But shouldn't we lay our cards on the table? Okay. Like the bigger picture? Shouldn't we let people know if we're going to potentially marry them, that we're the type of person that checks their cell phone at dinner? Shouldn't we? No. No. You see, that's the time for putting the best foot forward. Oh, so you lie. No, you don't lie. Lying would be to say, I never use my cell phone while I'm at a meal. That's lying. But eventually you would start to. Yeah, you will. And you do. Yeah. But on a first date, this is all first date. This is first date stuff. You're a jackhole if you do that. Yes. And I would never do that. I'm addicted to my phone, but wouldn't do that on a date. Number three, being rude to a server or hostess. Who is that guy? Who's that guy or girl? Girl. A lot of girls. That you're on a first date and a girl would go, excuse me. Git. Git. I might call it off right there. Oh, yeah, dude. I might call it off. I'd be like, you know what? This isn't going to work. Or a guy. You're on a date and the guy is rude to the waiter. That is so, like, how can you do that? She needs another one. You know what, though? You know why?
Somebody will go on a second date and eventually end up with that person because their parents probably did it. Yep. They're used to it. Yeah. And to them, that's assertiveness. Or they have daddy issues. I just use that for everything. Number four, talking. This is a big player. And this one I've done out of nervousness. Mentioning your ex. Oh, yeah. I've done it. I've done it. I've done it because I'm nervous. I've done it too. And I'm trying to think of something to talk about. And I'm like, you know, yeah, you know. This happened and then she was. I started to date someone too early after an ex. And it was too early for him and for me. And that's like all. That was a basis of our entire, if you could call it a relationship, two or three dates. You guys would talk about. We just talked about our exes the whole time. It was the worst. So unhealthy. Yeah. And 70% of people said that that is a, we're not going on a second date. Yeah.
And then the last one, and again, this one, I can't see this happening. I can't imagine this happening, but it does. Flirting with the server or host or hostess. Guilty. You've done that on a date? Sure. How can you do it on a date? I say I'm being charming. Yeah. It's flirting. Oh, I get it. They can look at it and be like, oh, he's charming, but I'm flirting. You flirt with everybody. Yeah, I get it. I flirt with everybody. Even dudes. Even men. But hey, but you know what though, Woods? I almost give you a break and say, well, you are being charming. Yeah. Yes. You have to be charming to flirt. I can't help that he's... If you figure it out that he's doing it to everybody, you know. Yeah. You can't help that you're charming. Well, he turns it on and off, which means it's not a passive thing. What do you mean? He turns the charm on and off, which means it's an active thing that he's doing. Yes. But he's a charming guy. He can't help it. No, he can't help it. I can't help it. He's saying he turns it on and off. Isn't that lying? What? No. If he were to turn it off, isn't that lying, Lauren? I think when he's first meeting somebody and on a first date, he'd be flirting with everybody, charming to everybody. He'd be on charm times 10. Well, if he wasn't, he'd be lying. He's the kind of person, like, if he's friends with a girl and she brings him over, like...
To meet the parents with like a group of people. Yeah. They'd be like, you should date Steven. Exactly. I like that Steven. Exactly. Makes my wife insane. Yeah. Insane. I'm nervous around people. And so my wife doesn't have to worry about that because I'm nervous. I get nervous around people. Jamie puts up with a lot. Oh my gosh. Like a lot that I would be like. She's so. She's really patient. She is so used to it now that, like, even when I say creepy stuff on the air, she doesn't say anything to me anymore. Ever. Yeah. She just goes, whatever. It's him. It's just you. That's my man. Jay doesn't know what he's about to sing. He puts on headphones that are connected to an iPod, and he sings a song. What Jay just did. And Woods took it like it was nothing. No big deal. Just adjusting the headphones on his head. Oh, my gosh. My goodness. And he did it in front of Lauren with no qualms. He was using them as handlebars. Yeah. Are you guys ready? Now, Jay has the words to the... He will get handed the words to the song, and then he will have to sing it live on the air. Don't crank it. Don't. Okay.
You're screaming at me. I'm sorry. Number one, you're screaming at me. I apologize. I'm on your team. I apologize. I apologize. Are you ready? Me, me, me, me, me. Put the other headphone on. I will, so they get the words. I want to hear you. Ready? Yes. Here we go. Oh, my. I've had of my life. No, I've never felt this way before. Yes, I swear it's the truth. And I owe it all to you. That was good. That was good. That was easy. They were kind of tough. That was an easy one. He cannot hear himself. That's the beauty of the iPod sing along. He can't hear himself. You ready? I'm ready. Let's go. He's got the song. Oh, my. What's starting? Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. Oh, the singer ladies. All his hands up. Up in the club, just broke up. I'm doing my own little thing. I decided to dip, and now I want a trip. His brother doesn't notice me. I'm up on him. He up on me. Don't give him any attention. Cry my tears. Oh, my God. He's reading the words. He's reading the words. Why is it da-dee-da? Da-dee-dee.
He went into baritone. Woods, the look on Woods' face is priceless as well, because Woods looks at him, and Woods is soaking it up like bread and gravy. Yeah, I hate him. All right, are you ready? Ready? Oh, here we go. Here we go. Put the other headphone on. No time to talk. Music's loud, warm and warm. I've been kicked around since I was born. That's all right. That's okay. You can't look there. We can't try. Whether you're a mother or whether you're a mother or stand alive. Stand alive. Feel the city breaking and everybody shaking. Stand alive. Stand alive. Stand alive. Stand alive. Stand alive. Oh my God. Bravo. I am standing up. I am giving you a standing ovation, my friend. Sounds like a dying cat. He nailed it. Oh my gosh.
Oh, my gosh. Wow. That was nothing short of incredible. That literally sounded like a cartoon version of a dying cat. So it was good. It was fantastic. Oh, gosh. He's unbelievable. It's that oil rig that just keeps bubbling up, that black gold. Texas tea. Well done, sir. It's fantastic. Spent. Well done is correct. What does it mean when you look at a woman and you are instantly drawn to a certain part of their body? Uh-oh. If you are drawn to a woman's eyes, the hidden meaning is you're probably thinking of how her eyes say, I want you. That's a true story. And you can do bedroom eyes, ladies. And you can what? You know, we do bedroom eyes. You can give someone bedroom eyes from across the room.
Oh, yeah. Bedroom eyes. Halfway open. Bedroom eyes. You're saying it very fast? Yeah. Bedroom eyes. Bedroom eyes. What are bedroom eyes? Bedroom eyes. Bedroom eyes. Hold on. Wait, yes. Wow. I thought so. I was reading you going. He doesn't get it. He doesn't get it. No, no, no. Dude, I did, but I was like, am I not hearing this right? Is she doing a bit? Bedroom eyes. That is right. What did I say? No, it's not. You said bedroom eyes. What? Bedroom eyes. Bedroom eyes. Sorry. Bed. Really? Bed. What the hell are Bedermise? Bedermise. Bedermise. Bedermise. She's been having gin and tonics all morning. Seriously. Bedermise. Bedermise. It's Bedermise. Bedermise. Look at me and my Bedermise. I give you my Bedermise. What? I'm fascinated. Me too. Bedermise. And I'll tell you why. I'll tell you why. Because there are some words. That people will mess up that you're used to hearing them mess up because people mess it up. Picture. Somebody says they took a picture. Took a picture. I have never heard bedroom eyes. Bedroom? Bedroom. Bedroom eyes. Bedroom eyes. Who says it like that? Bedroom eyes. Bedroom eyes. Bedroom eyes. Bedroom eyes. Bedroom. Bedroom? Bedroom eyes. Isolate it all. All of it. Save it all.
Bedroom. Brilliant. All right. If you look at a woman and you're a breast man. What? If you like smaller breasts. Oh, yeah. Lauren. Score right here. Look at the fun bags on that horse helmet. If you like smaller breasts, you may be more likely to settle down. How about that? Well, that goes against what's happening in my life. Oh, God. Lauren. When men were shown pictures of breasts in five size ranges from small to extra large, researchers found that men who preferred larger breasts also had lax attitudes towards sex and favored short-term commitment. Yikes. Woods has a look on his face right now, and the look is like what guys look like. when they're in the zero-gravity machines and it pulls their face back, and he's making a face that says, uh-oh. I haven't been a lot of people's one-night stands. Oh, wow. They've been mine. I have. See? People that do this kind of study say that it's because while almost all men think bigger breasts are attractive, committed guys are focused on traits that are important.
In the long run, like personality and parenting skills. Nice boy. But every guy likes big boobs. Yeah, like all sizes. Yeah. Even girls like big boobs. Yeah. Now, here's the thing. I've always said it doesn't matter. And to me, it doesn't. However, what I can tell you undeniably is that every guy likes big boobs. Yes. Every guy. They're fun. Yeah, they are. Visually appealing at the least. If a guy takes a look at a girl and the first thing that he's looking at is the curves, okay, hips, his eyes go there. Researchers tracked eye movements. The dude's looking at photos of women and they found the majority of men looked to the torso first when they were judging the attractiveness of a woman. Why? Because you're seeing if she'll make a good mom. Huh. are less susceptible to disease and have less difficulty conceiving. This is a scientific, biological thing that happens in men. They find LOB attractive because her waist is small and she's got hips. No, her butt isn't big, Jay. It is, and I do have hips. Yeah. Hips don't lie. Hips don't lie. I'm birthing hips. Birthing hips, going to waist right now. That ship is sailing.
What's selling? Yeah, what is selling? How does a ship sell? Yeah, it's, you know, set sail. How much for the ship? Men on deck. Was it arms? Say what? There was a giggle. When he makes himself giggle. I love it. Bring it on. Where is that stupid Mars thing? The Mars story. Where did I put it? It's not in there. It should be in there. Oh, yeah, here it is. So Obama basically going to wipe out the Mars program. Right now we have we send all kinds of probes and little land rovers and stuff like that. And apparently they're cutting that budget. One point five billion dollars this year to one point two billion dollars next year.
And they're going to further the cuts all the way through 2017. Now, the only thing that is news about this to me is how have they not done it before now? Right. Seriously. It seems like the biggest waste of it to me. And I mean this with the full sincerity of my heart that it seems like we took one point five billion dollars and literally. flushed it down a toilet. Well, there's people in the know that know that we're destroying what we have now, so they're hoping that Mars is like a second option. Come on. Again, that is so stupid. Yes. That is $1.5 billion of stupid. Give that to the people that can't eat. Yeah. Yeah. Give it to the people that can't eat. Give it to abused women. Can you imagine the impact we could make with $1.5 billion? But we want to look at Mars.
It's baffling to me. And I know that some people are going to be like, you don't understand. I don't care. Hey, you know what? You're right. I don't understand. I know that there are people that sleep on the streets here. I know that. Yeah. Because I see that. Yeah. But all the technology that we gain from the exploration of space, that's what makes it worthwhile. Exploration of space. Hey, dude, I get it. This whole Mars bit, the pictures that we see. Cool. I'm like, yeah, cool. But I bet those get used, like Jay's saying, in places like with warfare and stuff like that. The technology to see certain things. One day they're drilling on the moon. The next day they're drilling your teeth with it. You know what I mean? Well, I know. I don't know. I just watched a special on TV about they've been doing this research on the moon from all this moon exploration that we did. And they've discovered that if they heat up the dust from the moon, it creates water. So they're going to be able to go to the moon now and colonize with water. grow vegetables actually on the moon. Why couldn't we have done that in Yuma? But, see, there's so much stuff on the moon that we can't get here that they call the minerals. Finite resources. There's stuff on the moon that we can't get. What about Mars? Like moon veggies. Moon veggies. I'll take the moon veggie salad, please. Give me the moons over my hammy. M1 Steve-O. Are you there? Yeah, hey guys. Love your show. Thank you.
Mikey, I've got to totally disagree with you on this. Your cell phones, your computers, and all the modern electronics were outgrows of the space program. Dude, I love the space program. Don't get me wrong. Space program, I'm all in. This Mars program, the Mars deal, is to the tune of $1.5 billion, dude. You know, we've been spending over $10 billion a month on a war in the Mideast. $10 billion a month. Wow, really? Yes, that's what we've been trending. But we're not talking about the war. We're talking about Mars. Those are earthly problems, by the way. Yeah, you're changing the subject. These are terrestrial problems. The bottom line is that we spend $1.5 billion on freaking Mars. And it's stupid. What about satellite TV? I'm all for the space program. Why do you hate space, Mikey? You hate aliens. Yeah. We're going to tell you about somebody that has a big star that just had a file for bankruptcy. We'll tell you all about it. Don't go anywhere. Mikey Show now. I just didn't know how much more it would end up costing me. I kept hearing my friends at other universities and colleges complain about their student debt racking up.
I felt really discouraged. I didn't know how I could afford school or if I'd ever get the career I wanted. One phone call to California College San Diego changed all that. They sent me a free guide called Made Simple that outlined the many different ways people just like me could qualify for financial assistance through government and private programs. I made the call to California College San Diego a little over a year ago now, and I'm so glad I did. As for my friends, let's just say I still pick up the check for quite a few of them. good stuff too and that's on on nordahl and highway 78 lauren o'brien i have a show at the carlsbad village theater tomorrow night with headliner lamont ferguson and you go to sprocketent.com but i'll put it on my blog for the tickets there you go really well know my history and if you have heard me uh on the radio give my testimony at the end of my show on friday you know my story but it's a little bit different now The reason that it's different is because, hey, listen, what we do here every single day is a comedy show. Every single day we come in here and we want to make you laugh. That's the goal. The truth is that my personal life is absolutely falling apart. Incredible trials lately and for a while. Incredible trials. I can tell you is that a very addictive personality. And years ago, I would have been.
Probably drunk even now. Life changed. 2003, I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart and change me. Because I was desperate. And before then, anytime I was in trouble, emotionally or in any way, I would fall apart. Absolutely fall apart. And what I can tell you is that I'm still kicking. You hear me on the radio and you've heard me, hopefully, you've heard me making you laugh. And the only reason that I've been able to do that is because of the power inside of me that's been given to me by Jesus. To some people that may be controversial. You know, just mentioning his name is controversial. But I'm not trying to recruit you. I'm just telling you my story. That he saved my life and that the trials that I'm going through right now, I know I'm going to get through. Because I am. That's my story. That's what I can offer you. I want hope.
