Monday 2/15/2010
While most radio shows took President’s day off, the Mikey Show was at it bright and early to deliver some laughs. The show began with a recap of the weekend Olympic action where Mike announced he likes to “watch men lift weights”. Woods went to Petco and interviewed 2 Padres but forgot to turn the recorder on, then mentions all the Cargo shorts he saw and the debate was on! Sienna and Lauren just can’t put down the haterade when it comes to these wonderful, comfy, pieces of apparel. Woods’ dad called in to talk about how he took the Kid into a Ladies FootLocker as a tike to buy shoes. Dude named M1 Tony calls in for some sympathy after he lost his mind and broke up with his girl for not telling him she loved him back. M1 Megan from the Dating Game stopped in to bring the gang some grub and revealed how her date with M1 Trey went. Dude apparently only ate half his burger but scored points by downloading Woodsie’s Valentines mix tape. Michael Jackson returned from the dead to talk about his BFF Jeepers. Mikey then re-tells the hilarious story of his first massage by a 6’ 4” redheaded dude with red eyebrows. The Craziest Thing You’ve Ever Seen is next with wild results. The show wraps up with Lauren explaining why she didn’t give her boyfriend a Valentines present and some news.

The show covered a range of topics from Olympic reactions to personal embarrassments. Mikey expressed frustration after a French skier overtook an American lead in cross‑country skiing (P12) and later recounted his own embarrassing moment interviewing the Hairston brothers at Petco while forgetting to turn on the recorder and soiling his pants (P23). A heated debate erupted over cargo shorts after Lauren and Sienna declared them outdated, with Mikey and Woodsy defending the style (P25). Other notable segments included Kevin Smith’s removal from a Southwest flight (P51), Anderson Cooper being sued by an interior designer who fell in his firehouse (P52), Megan’s positive date recap at Pamplemousse (P87), and M1 Scooby’s chilling witness testimony of a Houston shooting (P145).

KBZT San Diego. The Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of the Mikey Show. FM 94.9. And it's President's Day. So happy President's Day. This is the day that we acknowledge all former presidents. Is that the idea behind President's Day, you think? Yeah. By working. Yeah, by working. For Lincoln Financial. That's right. That's right. Welcome. In honor of him. In honor of him. Yep. In honor of all of them. Welcome to the program. It's a Mikey show. And if you want to, you can call us. 570-1949. We only have 50 billion things to talk about. We need like seven hours today. Seriously. We do. We have so much to talk about. And so we got to get to it. Let me introduce everybody. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I am 39 years old. I have embarrassing things to admit to about myself. And I will.
Momentarily. And do that. That's great. Can't wait. And then we have our boy Woodsy. He is 34 years of age. Very proud of him. I'll tell you why. Good morning. Good morning. Real quick, Mike. Yeah. Mama Woods, my mother, Marsha Woods, is having a pretty big surgery today. So I just want to tell her that I love her. And I'll be thinking about you all day, Mom. That's awesome. Love you. We love you. She's listening right now, probably in her hospital bed on her iPhone. Love you, Mama. Good luck. We love you and good luck. You're going to be fine. Let's see. We got Lauren O'Brien. Hi, Mikey. How are you? She's 29. Great. And can't wait to get to her yesterday email where she talks about Valentine's Day. Can I just tell you that Matt said to me? Your boyfriend? Yes. He said... So this is the last Valentine's Day of your 20s. And I said, oh, don't remind me. He goes, it's okay, babe. There's going to be a lot of last of your 20s this year. A lot of what? Lasts. Lasts. Like last time you do things in your 20s. That's right. Yeah, Lauren's, she'd prefer that she not be leaving her 20s. Yes. And, you know, it happens. I'd prefer that I not be leaving my...
My 30s, which I'll be doing in a couple of months. But what are you going to do? My wife was telling me she sees a lot more gray coming in and the beard and the goatee. How about that? And I said, should I wash that gray? No, don't do it. Don't, right? So I'd come in. I would rather that it all just come in at once rather than do the salt and pepper deal, which is a little... I like the salt and pepper deal. I do too. It's very George Clooney. Bullshit. Yeah. My favorite rap band. Yeah. So we'll see. It took a second to figure out what was going on. Why is Woods rapping over there? Sienna's 24, and she had a heck of a weekend, too. Oh, yes. So we'll get around to some of that in a little bit. And Jay is our producer, and he's 46 years of age. Wow. That's right. That's right. And he's very healthy. In fact, the debate is who's healthier, he or... Lauren, they both eat very healthy food. I believe Jay is. Or Woods. Woods. It's a tight race. It's a really tight race. But I think I might be able to call this one. First of all, I mean, the biggest thing out there is the Olympics and everything going on with the Olympics. And a little while later, Woods is going to tell you about how many.
medals we've won, all that kind of stuff. But there's big things happening with it. I didn't see any of the opening ceremonies. Did you guys? Yes. No. You did? I did, of all people. I saw it. Well, I saw it without sound, so I was thoroughly confused. Really? Yes. Well, and I did a little bit too because at one point Rebecca and I were having dinner and they were showing it in the restaurant. But this is a little bit of the opening ceremonies where Apparently, Brian Adams and Nelly Furtado performed together. Oh, wow. Why not? Well, that sounds like a really great performance by Nelly Furtado. Those are two very good artists, separate of each other, put them together for the Olympics. They're both Canadians, though. Yeah. That's why. Are they? Mm-hmm. Oh, I didn't know. Absolutely. I wonder if anybody asked to turn Brian's microphone up a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. Because all I really hear is Nelly Furtado. Yeah. He's in there. You hear him in the background? He's a little harmonizing. It's called harmonizing. Really? Yeah. Because I don't, I barely hear a male voice. It's like a knife. Yeah. It's really happy and bright. I can't deal with it. It's cool. It's cool. But man, it's almost like too happy and bright. Yeah. What do you want? Like Alice in Chains for the opener? No. Like, girl. Very much like on Team Disney. That's the deal.
She was wearing a dress. Again, I didn't hear the audio. I just saw it. Her dress was like an 80s prom dress. Really? Yes. You saw it? No, I didn't see it. What was Brian wearing? He was, I think, skinny jeans. He was in a tux, I think. It was actually a Canadian tuxedo. Yeah. Which is jeans and a denim jacket. Yes. Someone around the station likes to rock that, too. Who? There's a few. There's a few? You can do his voice real well. I can do anybody's voice. The Canadian Tux. It's genius. That's enough of that. Yeah. I want to hear another second of it. Not a second. And usually I'm all on board those ones. Yeah, you love that stuff. I know, but I was like, oh, okay. It's too early. Sarah McLaughlin, I believe, has the voice. What? McLaughlin. Is it? Yes. There's no F. McLaughlin. It's like for years my brother said, you see the new Stephen King book? Oh, no. You've never seen Steven fill the PH before. I guess not. But here's Sarah McLachlan performing at the opening ceremonies. Voice of an angel. She's awesome. Ladies and gentlemen, native of Nova Scotia, but an international recording star, Sarah McLachlan. Hey, Sarah, you might want to let the introduction finish before you cut him off with the performance.
Can we hear that again? And ladies and gentlemen, native... Maybe she didn't have the delay in her ear. She didn't hear it. Classic. And ladies and gentlemen, native of Nova Scotia, but an international recording star, Sarah McGraw. Oops. She's like, oh no, oh no. I've been listening to that all day. His mic doesn't go off and he goes, freaking sorry, I guess. You go ahead. You go ahead. You're fine. Go ahead. Let's start. I guess he didn't like my intro. Can I tell you? It's really hard. I lived in Canada for like three months. You did? You did? Yeah, because I was, um, wait, was it three months? No, maybe it was only two months. Fleeing the draft. I lived there for like a week. No, it was like two months. Wait, no, three months. Because I was working on a project where I was a consultant. And they had Sarah McLachlan. By consultant, she means fleeing the country. No. Or the political asylum. Exactly. No. It was Sarah McLachlan, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Alanis Morissette, and Brian Adams on repeat. Is that what they do on the radio? Oh, my gosh. They have some serious pride. Right? Yeah. National pride. In fact, and I may be completely wrong about this, but I think that in Canada, it's a part of their law that once an hour...
You've got to play a Canadian artist. I think that's the truth. Really? Probably. I think that is the deal. They're very proud. All in. Me too. 100%. I actually have her on my iPod, believe it or not. Of course you do. She's got an amazing voice. You don't have to apologize for that because it's almost like you're apologizing by telling us. It's not child pornography, bro. Is Sarah McLachlan a unicorn? Yeah, absolutely. She is. She's unbelievable. Her voice is so rare that it's like seeing a unicorn run down the street. She makes me want to cry. I have an embarrassing story, though. I've actually seen her in concert, too. With a buddy. At the Lilith Fair? With a buddy. With a guy? Mm-hmm. How did that happen? Hey, dude, you want to go see her? He won. I think he won tickets. Yeah. And he called me. And we both liked her. Right. And he's like, dude, I got tickets to Sarah McLachlan. I was like, I'm not going. I'm not going with you. Right. Take a girl. Yeah. And he's like.
Let's go. So we went. We stayed for like four songs. We're like, well, at least there'll be some girls there. Not a lot of girls that were in on guys. Right. So we went for like four songs. It was like, I'm going to hit the bar. Let's just take off. I would have said, if you can get to a makeup artist who can make you look like a woman within 10 minutes. I'll go with you. Yeah. It was pretty weird, but I liked seeing live concerts. Really, it was weird two guys walking into a Sarah McLachlan concert that was... Doesn't sound weird to me. All right, that's enough. I'm dear. Yeah. That's it. I think I've heard enough. But anyway, it was really cool, and I don't know what you guys saw. Did you guys see any of the competition? Sure. I didn't watch a second of it. I feel bad. You didn't? No, I mean, I didn't. It just was a busy weekend. I saw the highlights. You know? I've seen a bunch. The big story. is that somebody from the nation of Georgia died. Before the ceremonies. Woodsy's wife didn't realize that Georgia was a nation. A lot of people don't realize that. But that guy from Georgia? Atlanta. He's not from Atlanta, honey. It's actually a part of Russia. It's very sad, man. What happened? Well, apparently...
He was on the luge, which is the one where you lay back and you're on kind of the sled and you go around the ice obstacle course. Yeah, it's ridiculous. But apparently he had called his father and told his father, hey, this is really unsafe. Yeah, he was nervous about that. He was nervous about it. He was going 90. That doesn't mean anything to me because I don't know if normally they go 30 or 107. Well, you've gone 90 in your car. Imagine doing that on ice in a sled. I understand, but it could be normal that the luge goes 130. I don't know if that's a lot too much. It's your body on a sled going 90 is fast. It's Olympic speed. Is what that is. Not anyone could just go 90. Does that mean that the luge track was too fast? I think this turn was a little, you know, he was obviously worried about it, but he flew off of his luge and hit a steel beam. And they showed it and they played it and you could hear it. And they played it over and over again, didn't they? You could hear it. On my hand, on my face. It was, it's awful. Dude, it's really sad. It's awful, man. And it's just, I mean, what a damper on the whole deal.
I mean, this wasn't even, it was practice when this happened. It wasn't even during the competition. It was practice. And it's just so sad. He specifically called his dad right before. And his dad's like, don't worry, everything's going to be fine. You're going to do great. And he's like, no, dad, this track, I'm really, really, there's something about it. I'm scared. His poor dad. Yeah. His poor dad. I know. Right? Who's like, I told him it would be fine. Yeah, 21 years old, this kid. What do you tell him? Sharp guy. He did exactly what he was supposed to do as a dad. You say, don't worry, it'll be okay. Yeah, you're going to be fine. You're a champion. Well, yeah, and you're thinking they know what they're doing there. They're not going to put you on something that's unsafe. Well, a couple people have said, a couple of the other losers, I think that's the term, have said there was actually, they thought there was nothing wrong with the track. They thought maybe he was a little inexperienced. Really? Wow. Yeah, that's what some of the people said. Well, did they have to change anything about the track, I wonder? I don't think they changed a thing. Well, then maybe he was. I don't know. Could be. Either way, it's tragic. I mean, he's experienced enough to get there. I think that, I don't know. No matter what, they should have fixed something. No one's going down that track if someone died. Like, that's, I can't stand that. It was sad. Very sad. I watched yesterday, there was a cross-country skiing. Now, my wife put it perfectly. Because we were watching, you know, we spent the weekend away.
And we had the TV on. And I said, hey, babe, aren't you going to look at this? The Winter Olympics. And she goes, eh. That's my sentiment. Yeah. She goes, I go, what is that? She goes, you know, Summer Olympics is a good one. I say neither Olympics. I don't watch really much of it. I like the summer. I like to see guys lift weights. You don't like seeing dudes with powder on their hands? No. Lifting stuff up? No. I used to love Olympic. That's really cool, though, because nobody can do that except for like eight guys in the world. I used to love the Olympic baseball, but they took it out. You used to love the Olympic baseball? Love the Olympic baseball, man. You were the guy. It's like you can watch it any day. It's just like regular baseball. Well, dude, I think even their parents were like, I'll catch it next. Boring. Is it? Dude. It's great. You don't like the Greco-Roman wrestling? No. Really? No. I don't like to watch dudes run either. Like, oh, that's exciting. You're telling me that when Usain Bolt... He was an exception. That dude's a beast. That dude's a beast. But, you know, I just can't get into it, man. I just can't. I don't know. I tried. Even the gymnastics. That's so cool. I love gymnastics. Yeah, I'm a dude. I don't like gymnastics. Well, there's hot girls. Yeah, doing incredulous things. I know. I'm a dude.
It's fun when they run on the mat and they're like. Yeah. Well, yesterday. So yesterday I'm like, well, I want to watch some of the Olympics because if for no other reason, I like seeing stuff in high definition. And so I'm watching cross country skiing. And this American is 40 yards in the lead. And I and I'm like, all right, American. Is that a lot? Yeah, of course. I mean, I know what 40 yards is, obviously, but. In that sport, there's no basis for comparison for me. I figure, you know, it's a big lead. That's what they seem to be saying on television, that this guy's got a big lead. And so as they come around to the finish line, this French dude starts coming up out of nowhere. I can't see this because the French are better than you. Little Mexican. It's Tattoo. He hangs out in the studio every once in a while. There's a lot of dudes in here, man. There's a lot of people just hanging out. We need a bigger studio. It's ridiculous. Oh, really? You really think that the two-foot-four Frenchmen need more space? Lara? Lara. Hey, you said it, not me, Tattoo. I'm sorry. Okay. Well, all I'm saying is the French one. The what? The what one? I said the French one.
The fence is long? No, I didn't say the fence is long. I said the French won. Francois. I'm having a hard time. So this French dude comes up out of nowhere and wins. And I find myself angry at the American. And I don't even care. Come on. You were ahead. What are you doing? Dude, you just, where's your heart? You just lost to France. Yeah. And then I go, I'm like, what are you mad about? You don't even care. Because I don't watch the Olympics, does that mean I don't have any national pride at all? It just kind of beats me down. You want to watch something, don't you? Not even one thing. Actually, I'll tell you what sold me was the announcers really get into it. And it got me excited. My heart started beating faster. At the end of it, they go, he is about to set a world! And I'm like, yeah. Go, go, go. Go, go.
I did get into the Michael Phelps bit, dude, watching that one race when he won by a fingernail. See? I was, like, standing up screaming at the TV. But then I was like, ah, you're kind of a D anyway, so I'm out. A D? Yeah. It's a huge D. Everybody they make a big deal out of at the Olympics, I immediately hate. Like, I'm like, ugh, Apollo Ono, ugh. You do it with music. I do. You do it with everything. I just, like, this Apollo Ono. Really, dude? Dancing with the clowns? You were on that show? Really? Okay. Yeah, I'm really going to get behind you, dude. Get. Circus tryouts? Just, yeah, get. I'm out. Come on. And now every commercial you see is like, hi, I'm Apollo Ono for Planner's Peanuts. Get, dude. God. So annoying. Oh, no. 570-1949 is the number. Oh, we got a break already. Already? I haven't even got to. The crazy stuff Woods was up to this weekend. Oh, we needed a whole show for that. I know, yes. My weekend was action-packed. Yeah. And so we'll get to it. We'll get to it. We have so much stuff on the show. Hey, Entourage. Entourage, yeah. All right, so how about this? Olympics have been going on for three days now. How many medals do you think we have for America? Is it good or bad? Are we really good or are we really not good?
Woodsy's got that and a very embarrassing story about himself and what happened to him this weekend. Weird. And it has to do with sports and the Hairston brothers. For the Padres, it's next. Did you guys hear about the rogue wave? I don't know what that means. Dude, I'm watching TV last night, and I see the video of it, but I had it on mute, and I stopped everything I was doing to rewind it.
And watch it. What is it? With the sound on. Well, first of all, Sienna's going to fill us in, but I want to let everybody know you can go to MikeyShow.com and actually see the video for yourself. Crazy video. Go ahead. Okay, this happened in Half Moon Bay, which is over by San Francisco, Northern California, where this crazy rogue wave hit the beach. Now, there's tons of people on the beach watching a surf competition Saturday morning when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, this enormous wave comes crashing down, starts knocking down barricades, all these platforms set up for the surf competition. At least 15 people were... And a lot were taken to the hospital, like broken bones, broken hands, broken legs. I mean, wiped out these people were. We have the video, right? I'm watching it as we speak. Is that like a step down from a tsunami or something? Yeah, I mean, it's obviously not as bad because that kills people. But I mean, people were standing there out of nowhere. This enormous wave comes, knocks them on their feet, wipes out all their stuff. Dude, what's his jaw? It just dropped open. This is insane.
Mikeyshow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. Rogue Wave Video. Everybody's got their gear. Like, there's camera gear that's, like, going down. There's barricades. There's people just flipping out. That girl looked terrified. The wave was over six feet, and they said it wiped down an entire seawall, which is a wall that's built. Yeah. And it wiped it down. It's just nuts, man. Dude. So you can go there right now and you can check out this video. We got it at MikeyShow.com right now. And Woodsy's got the latest with the Olympics. The Olympics are here. And so the U.S. is actually, Mike, we are the medal leaders. We are right now. Yes, we have one gold, two silver, and three bronze. Wouldn't have thought it. And I'm happy about it. Next is Germany. Yeah. The Germans. Yeah. And three, the third place medal. Country. Oh, yeah. The French. Yeah. Well, that's great. Good for us. We talked about the Georgian loser that passed away before the event. And it was really sad. And like we talked about, he called his dad and told him that the track was unsafe. And their country's, I did see this part where all of his teammates walked out with black armbands before. And it was just really emotional. It was very sad.
Very, very crazy. So world-class U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn says she is going to compete. And she said she is ready to go. Really? She did a practice run. She said. Now, she's saying this because if you didn't know, she's got a jacked up knee. She's got a jacked up shin, basically. Yeah, she has a deep bone bruise in her shin. And when you put ski boots on, I don't know if you've ever skied, you lean forward. And it automatically pushes you forward when you put your ski boots on. So you're leaning straight ahead. And so going downhill at 70 miles an hour with a bone bruise is not good. So she is going to compete. She says it's painful, but she can grit her teeth through it. Daytona 500 was yesterday as well. And some dude named Jamie McMurray won. No, it ain't some dude named Jamie McMurray, bro. Dude won. And he won real good. He won real good. What was the crash this weekend? Was that from Daytona 500, or was that something different? Sure. No. Sure. I actually got a little audio of the last lap, which is pretty cool. It's the most exciting part of the race. Dale Earnhardt Jr. unbelievably has caught Jamie McMurray as they come to turn four. He'll have to go to the high side, though, McMurray. That's right. I want you to listen to the very last of this audio. Never mind. Green flag still out. Checkered flag.
The 52nd Daytona 500. Yes! Listen, listen. Hook, line, and sink him. Yes, sir. Billy Bass. What? Really fast? Billy Bass. He said hook, line, and sink him. And then he said Billy Bass. That must be a type of fishing or something. That's like a fishing thing. Are you serious? I have no idea what he was talking about. I'm an experienced fisherman. Yeah, there you go, Sienna. I know the lingo. Thank goodness we have an experienced fisherman on the show, ladies and gentlemen. You're welcome. Billy Bass. So I, Mikey, went out on Saturday to Padres Fan Day. Yeah. Fan Fest. Yeah. Oh, that must have been fun. It was a blast. Well, the great thing about it is that you have the opportunity to go out there and meet Padres. Yes, you do. And if you are like me and you carry your recorder with you, you actually can get to interview a couple of Padres. Oh, awesome. So I'm walking around. It's amazing. It's an amazing ballpark. We're on the field. Is that the first time you've been to Petco? First time I've been to Petco. Oh, wow. Just walked in right onto the field. It was amazing. So I've got my recorder and I'm walking around and I see Jerry Hairston. And I see him with his brother, Scott Hairston. Now, I know Jerry's face because he played with the Yankees. Yeah.
And he won a World Series last year. So I see him. Nobody recognized him. And I say, Jerry, hey, how are you? And he's like, hey, what's up, man? So I start to interview him. I've got my recorder. I've got it in his face and in his brother's face. I say, Jerry, tell me about October last year. And he said, dude, winning a World Series with the Yankees was incredible. There's nothing like it. So then I go to Scott. Scott, what's it like to play with your big brother? He goes, it's incredible. We've dreamed about this moment. So we're talking. What are you guys excited about? I walk away feeling like a million dollars. I just got an interview with two Padres. I'm so proud of you. First time you've ever interviewed anyone. First time I've ever interviewed anyone. And I was totally relaxed, totally cool. Walked away, realized I did not turn the recorder on. Okay, good. Yeah, that's perfect. What? I'm not kidding. I came in this morning and I looked at the audio and I didn't have it. I gave you a little... A lesson? A lesson on Friday, and I showed you everything. If you didn't know by now, I am an idiot. I thought the kid was going to cry. I did. I was so upset. What? I was so upset. Well, the worst part was I met Woods over there. Yes. Yeah, Lauren, you and your boyfriend went out there. We met him over there, and he called me. We were kind of coming in through the gates, and he called me. I'm like, hey, I'm an idiot.
Yeah. I'm an idiot. I'm like, all right. I was like Scotty from Boogie Nights. Tell me something I don't. I'm an idiot. So he goes and tells me the whole thing, and I'm like, no, no way you did. He's like, no, I'm an idiot. He just keeps saying that. So then we meet up with him, and he shows me the recorder, and you can't hear the playback without headphones. Right. And, of course, none of us had headphones on us. So I had kind of convinced Woods. I was like, you know what? I think you got it. Yeah, you got it. You got it. You're fine. I think it's on there. I'm like, yeah, yeah. It's probably there. And so he's like, cool, cool, okay, cool. They were just walking around. Nobody knew who they were. I did. Yeah. And as soon as I interviewed them, everybody flocked to them. Right. And they were signing autographs and everything. And I'm like, dude, I just got Scott and Jerry Harrison. I'm like, I was the only one. Yeah. Because then they were up on the little Jumbotron thing afterwards. Almost echoing what they had said. Yeah, to me. To Woods, but not so eloquently. Two hours earlier. Yeah, and he had the exclusive. So I was like, oh, this is going to be gold. You know, kill it. Your boy completely soiled his pants, dude. Out at Petco, I soiled myself. Poor guy. Terrible. Poor kid. I'm so disappointed. But can I tell you the most prominent thing about Petco Park that I noticed on Saturday? Yeah. All the cargo shorts. 100%. Everywhere.
Every guy that was wearing a pair of shorts, I'm not kidding you, they were cargo shorts. Yep, they're back. They are not back. Oh, they're back. Can I tell you something? Can I tell you something? Yes. This weekend, my wife and I got a little weekend away because it was our anniversary slash Valentine's Day. And so my wife is online looking at MikeyShow.com and starts laughing hysterically. And I go, what? And she goes, Lauren just got me. And I go, what are you talking about? She goes, go read her blog. You want to hear it? Yeah. She says, I found this video on YouTube. But for some reason, there's no embedded code. I'm not savvy enough to figure out how to post it. But either way, take a look at this video, right? And she says, seems like there's a lot of male listeners out there that would be welcome at this party. Plaid short guy, not so much. Okay, so she's talking about the whole short thing. Now, if you don't know.
One of the biggest controversies to ever hit San Diego airways came up last week when Lauren and Sienna both said, cargo shorts, out. Out. 100% out. 90s. Now, now, Woodsy and I, Woodsy's 34, I'm 39, we're like, what are you talking about? They're cool. Yeah, they're real cool. And we know they're cool because... We wear them. Because I wear them, yeah. If you're a construction worker. So, here's the rest of her blog. She says, I can't believe how up in arms everybody got about the cargo shorts comment. Lauren says, I'm a comedian, so I'm used to saying everything in the form of the extreme, even if I mean it, only in jest. She says, it was hilarious to see everyone get so heated over something Sienna and I suggested. I had no real firm stance on the matter and never could have imagined that World War III would erupt over a piece of wardrobe. Yep. Crazy pills, she says. She says, let me state for the record, I have no problem with cargo shorts. Now. Sienna, wait for it. Okay, I'm disappointed right now. She says, let me state for the record, I have no problem with cargo shorts. And she puts a little asterisk there.
And then in her next paragraph, and by the way, when I read that, I go, thank you, Lauren. Yes. And then I look at the next paragraph where she puts another asterisk to explain what the asterisk was. Let me state for the record, I have no problem with cargo shorts. On crocodile hunters, construction workers, carpenters, painters, electricians, and plumbers. Oh, thank you. While on the job. Also acceptable for hunting trips, camping trips, fishing trips, hiking trips, mountain biking, and various other rugged outdoor activities. Absolutely. Weekend warrior activities not included. Wearing cargo shorts to the beach is strictly prohibited. Well, 100%. What idiot's going to wear them to the beach? What? Not me. I'll wear my board shorts.
Yeah, I wear, I would wear, well, I would and have worn cargo shorts to the beach because I'm too fat for board shorts. No, no. I'll wear my billabongs to the beach. The thing is, is when you have regular shorts, regular shorts, there's already four pockets. How many more do you guys need? I need two more. Why? Woods, tell the truth. What did you say when we got off the air about the cargo shorts and you feel better about yourself when you wear the cargo shorts? What? I wish you guys would just admit that cargo shorts are like fat pants. Like girls have fat pants that kind of like, you know, pull them out. It makes us feel a little bit more slim. Maybe that's what the cargo shorts do. Isn't that what you said? Walking around Petco, I felt vindicated. You did. I did. Vindicated. I saw a bunch of sharp dudes, very cool guys. Well, don't be, because all you saw was a bunch of guys out of it. No, I didn't. I saw a bunch of dudes like myself. Very cool guys. I'm giving mine to Goodwill. I'm telling you right now. Give them to me. I'm giving them to Goodwill. No, you're not. You realize you're putting it back in circulation, right? Every... Just burn them, then, if you don't like them. I said to my wife yesterday, I go, Babe, what a...
What am I going to do? What am I going to wear? Lauren almost spit coffee. Lauren's boyfriend. Babe, what am I going to wear? And she goes, you can't wear anything. And I go, I go, I go, I go, but I got to get, I guess I got to get those platterns. She goes, babe, it's not going to, you're not going to fit. They're not going to, they're not going to work on you. I'm going to go buy some Hugo Boss suits and just start wearing those to work and everywhere I go. Dickie shorts? Yeah. Dickies. Yeah, they're cool. I'm not a fan of the dickies either. Kill Mike. I'm moving back to Texas, dude. Dickies are great if you work at a garage and it's hot in the summertime. They make casual lines. I'm moving home. The thing I don't like about dickies... It's not just you, bro. It's not just you. Dickies have too thick of a material. They don't bend. Unless they have a different kind now. It all boils down to wear what you dig. Yeah, that's true. It's true. We're not dorks. I'm a dork too. I'm wearing Uggs and most people would make fun of me, but it's just like, you know what? I don't care. I love them. If you love your cargo shorts, wear them. Maybe we should have wore our referee outfits today. Maybe we should have done that. Everybody check the webcam, please.
Sienna and I are wearing matching prison jumpsuits. It's a 30s prison movie in here. Okay. Lauren looks very cute and I look very cute, but we just planned to wear our cute outfits on the same day by accident. It's fantastic. Brings back some memories for me. Yeah. Jail days. The jail days. We're back in jail. Sorry, guys. You're calling him. We got some new Reeboks. Come over here. Check out the sales. The Foot Locker girls. It's fantastic. Yeah. I'd take a 10, guys, if you want to. Is that for men's footlocker or ladies' footlocker? Ladies' footlocker. What says the story about that? My dad, the king bargain hunter. I love you, dad. Tried to take my little brother to Lady Foot Locker to buy him shoes one time. What? My brother still talks about it, dude, to this day. Because they were having a huge sale. My brother was 10 and my dad goes, he goes, Brent, come on. Brent goes, but why are we going into, are we buying shoes for mom? And he's like, no, there's a sale. He's like, I'm not buying shoes here, dad. He goes, Brent, nobody will know the difference. What?
And my brother's sitting there going, I hate you. I'm never shopping with you again. Did he make him do it? No. Oh. My brother pitched a fit. Oh, of course. Oh, I can relate. Lady foot locker. Handed to your dad, though. I mean, you really can't tell the difference with some of the shoes. 100% you can. Really? 100%. Maybe if you get, like, the pink colored. Next time we go to the movies, we're going to pop in there. Because I've never changed face right now. But my brother. My brother still was like, forget it. Because I know that I've gotten running shoes at the men's Foot Locker. Different story. Really? Totally, yeah. See, that makes you cool. Girls wear men's clothes all the time, like boxers and things like that. Dudes don't wear ladies' clothes unless they have a problem. Hey, check it out. In like the 90s. Yeah, I don't think they do that anymore. My wife wears my boxers like around the house. Oh, yeah. Not out.
Yeah, okay. As long as it's not out. But I don't put her underwear on and run around. Sure. You don't? Guess who's on the phone. My dad. Tell me. This is the story of Joe Millionaire. Yes! Good friend of the show. Oh, no. Evan Marriott, who was the guy from Joe Millionaire. Evan, how you doing? Hey, I'm going to get my coffee this morning, and I need to know why these girls don't like these shorts. Attaboy! All right, all right. Attaboy. Evan. Here's what's jacked, is I'm sitting here listening to you guys ramble on about this, and I actually stayed in the car for about five minutes because I'm like, they've got to say something good about these shorts. No, Evan, are you wearing them? Wait, wait, wait, wait, Evan, are you wearing them right now? No, no, no, no, no, I'm wearing jeans, but this guy's coming down with his coffee, his little, little boy in tow, and he's got cargo shorts. And I wanted to roll the window down and go, hey, dude, they're doing a piece on your shorts. This will never go away. It never will. I'm telling you, they used to be cool, but now it's just like, what? There's cooler shorts now. There's cooler shorts. Mikey, how is that? How is that? Evan. I'm taught. Evan, Woods, every dude listening right now that's like us, that likes our cargo shorts. I asked a girl yesterday at Nordstrom, and she's like, out. Yes! If a Nordstrom girl says it, she knows. What does she know?
That's fine. She goes, you know what? She said they're great if you like to eat granola and you're going on a hike. Thank you. They're great. Perfect. Love to hike. Exactly. That just killed my go-to-get-cargo shorts shopping thing this week because I was going to go get new cargo shorts. Dude, I'll go with you. I'll go with you. We'll load up. You are not going to go buy new cargo shorts. You were thinking, I need some new shorts. Evan, I'll go with you. Evan and Woods, you guys are that guy. Yeah, fine. Done. You're going to be that guy. Look at me. Now Mikey's saying, Mikey's out. I'm done. They're over. They're not over. Honestly, you guys, this is a revelation for me because I would have been totally embarrassed if these cargo shorts walk around. Dude, I'm telling you, girl, Evan, please. You heard it here first, Evan. Cargo shorts aren't in. What's in? You got to tell me. These stupid plaid shorts. Dumbest shorts. I'm not saying it's the plaid. Madras. I like the plaid on certain people. Not all guys can pull the plaid off, but just, you know, the regular. Evan can pull it off. It was on television for being, you know, good-looking. Evan can absolutely pull the plaid shorts off. You don't think of Evan Marriott now. So if I wore like those 19, like early 80s, like Magnum P.I.O.P. shorts. Yeah, dude. That's cool. I'm telling you. They say that's cool. I'd be in.
But, okay, the ones that I like are the ones that are like a subtle plaid, like similar colors, not like white and blue and yellow and green, you know, like gray with some white in there, maybe a little black. Subtle plaid. I like straight leg shorts. Hey, Evan, Evan. Evan, we got to let you go, dude, because Wood's dad is on the other line. Yes! Oh, no. Wood's dad is on the other line. Good luck shopping. Gary's on the other line. This is Wood's dad. Hey, Gary. Hello, everyone. Yes. You're making things up. No way. I am not. Go ahead. Call my brother. I never took him to ladies. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. I already know you did. I took him to every sports show in the country looking for shoes that had enough black, not too much white. You know, this one has too much white on the sole, not enough black. Mr. Woods. Yes, sir. With all due respect, sir. With all due respect. I find it very hard to believe that a person says that they were taken to Lady Foot Locker by their dad, and they were somehow mistaken about it being Lady Foot Locker. Like, that's something you don't forget, you know? It scarred that kid for life. I mean, are you kidding me? He deserved to be scarred. Yeah, he did. After all of those stores where it had to be black and white shoes, and one had too much black, not enough white.
I couldn't take it anymore. Well, because you're wearing lady footlockers. He would have gotten killed at school. Oh, are you kidding me? That's one of those things, though, that I have to hand it to him. At least he went to a bunch of stores. Kids are so particular when they get to a certain age. It's like out of control. It was ridiculous. And I had had enough. If I happen to wander into the wrong store. Wander into the wrong store. Now it's gone to if I happen to wander into the wrong store. With a Lady Foot Locker coupon in your pocket. Yes. You probably taught him a lesson about being picky. That's for sure. There was a 20% off there. Then why were we even questioning? Well, from then on, my mom was like, here. Just take my credit card. You have $200 and you have $200. Go have a ball. You know what I mean? Really? That was the last time. Well, I wanted to set the record straight. Yeah, well, you didn't. Should have got him a pink jersey while you were there. Yeah, no kidding. Thank you, Mr. Woods. That is Steve's dad. My mom used to say, you have two choices. Take it or leave it. Really? Yep. Oh, my mom would...
search high and low for anything I wanted. She was the best. My dad used to, like, he would be yelling at us in these stores. He'd be like, why don't you like this shirt? And I'm like, I just don't like it. He's like, we're going to buy it. It's $7. I'm like, if you buy it, I'll put it in the floor of the closet. I did not have the rocks to say that. I wore all the, this was my life as a kid. First of all, constant battle to get me to not be fat. Constant battle when I was a kid to not be overweight. So the way to get me to not be overweight was to buy clothes that were too small for me. Therefore, I would be motivated to lose weight to fit into them. Never considering maybe it's low self-esteem that my muffin top is pouring, that I look like a mushroom, pouring over the side. Of these too small for me Mervyn's corduroys. Where I sound like a DJ, you know, scratching records when I walk. Rubbing together, your thighs rubbing together? Yeah, I'm starting fires with my corduroys as my thighs rub together.
It's just the dorkiest. All the kids are wearing OPs. My mom made a pair of shorts for me and stitched OP on there. No. She put an extra P on mistake, so she put an S on there, and they said, oops. Oh, stop. I'm not kidding you. That's so cute. That's a truth. Oh, it's so cute to the other 14-year-old girls. Yeah, they loved it. They thought it was so hot and sexy on my two small oops shorts. Better than P-O-O, though. Oops. Oops. We finally have the audio from the 2010 version of We Are The World. Yes. It's for Haiti. I haven't even heard it yet, so we'll listen together. A couple of text messages that we're getting, 949mikey at gmail.com if you want to send a text message. This one says, Mikey, the men's department at Kohl's has a very large selection dedicated to cargo shorts. Kohl's, yeah. And I should have taken a picture and emailed it to you guys. That's M1 Speedy. Mikey, it's not about the pockets. They're just shorts. They look good on every dude. What do you want? Every guy to dress like a douche and wear plaid shorts? That's M1 Metal Dave. This is a revolution. The plaid shorts was an example. I'm not saying they're the coolest shorts ever. I'm saying they're a little bit cooler right now. They're not the coolest shorts ever.
Oh, those are the coolest shorts ever. Like, they're shorts, people. They're shorts. So what's a good short? I'm going to, okay, this is what I'm going to do today. This is what I'm going to do today. Later on this afternoon, you guys check my blog. And you're going to post some pictures? And I will post links to a lot of shorts that I like all over the place. What, Woods? Woods wants to move on. No, Woods. Wear what you want. That's what I'm doing. I say don't. Because here's the, you know what I've noticed about. And it's not even California. I think it's everywhere. When I would go out in Dallas, everybody looked the same. Everybody looked the exact same. And it used to drive me batty. When Affliction was really big, you'd see 30 dudes posing for a picture all in Affliction shirts with dragons. Butt woodsy. I'm going to play devil's advocate. Totally appreciate what you're saying. I get it. I'm like, you don't want to look like every other dude. You don't want to be a sheep. Totally. However. What's worse, looking like every other dude or being that guy? And by that guy, I mean the dude that doesn't get that it's over. I don't think that... Like, here's the deal. I'm not walking around in tight-rolled jeans and Sperry topsiders. You know what I mean? I don't even know what that is that you just said. Tight-roll your jeans. You remember tight-rolling? Yeah, of course. But...
It's about kind of having your own style. The best guy, like sticking with a classic look will never hurt you. But the problem is, is that the guys that have real long hair, like it's 1987 and they're Axl Rose, they think that they have a classic look that's never going out of style. That's not classic though. They think it is. Think about when you put your clothes on, think about Steve McQueen. What would he wear? If he were alive today? Yeah. What would he wear? he'd be wearing his Levi 501s up past his belly button. Because he's not 90? Because he doesn't care. I agree with Woods. I think everyone should just wear what they like. I'm not, I mean, I would never, if I saw someone in cargo shorts, I would never be like, oh, my. Did I look like a tool? Did I look like a tool? You saw me. You had cargo shorts on? But you looked like everybody else at Petco Park. Well, all the dudes had cargo shorts on. And didn't you just say that you don't want to look like everybody else? Right, so now I'm thinking about getting some other shorts. Sure. You guys want to hear the updated We Are the World? Absolutely. Now, all the money is going to go to Haiti. There's a lot of people in that thing. I can't even list you how many people. Do you want me to do a couple? Akon, Bono, India Ari, Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber. You know who Justin Bieber is? Pop singer, right? Yeah, that 16-year-old kid. Busta Rhymes, Natalie Cole, Harry Connick Jr., Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, Earth, Wind & Fire, Babe Evans, Fergie. I mean, it's just nuts.
Jennifer Hudson. Like, there's probably 60 people on here. Vince Vaughn. Vince Vaughn's in it. That's the kicker. Vince Vaughn? Yeah. Robin Thicke, Usher. Robin Thicke! The 1987 Olympics theme versus 86. Did they do this? I think maybe they did this. It aired during the Olympics. Yeah, on Friday. The opening ceremony. It's a nice short intro here, too. It's been an hour and 45 minutes since we started. This is Justin Bieber. That's a... Dude? Yeah, he's 16. He's a little boy. Oh, he's 16. But still. Like your face when I said Justin Bieber, you were like, stop, stop. I've never heard him, and so I got a shock look on my face. Oh, that's a boy. I thought he was like six. Girls love him. Yeah, he's six or seven, right? Miley Cyrus is like, man, your voice is pretty high, dude. You seem like a girl. I love it already. Sounds like Jennifer Hudson.
Yeah. Jennifer Hudson? Mm-hmm. When it's time to lend a hand. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Who was that? Oh, whoa, whoa. Rod Stewart again. You didn't tell me who that was? I couldn't tell. I couldn't tell who that was. Oh, the world tonight. Oh. The greatest gift of all. I love the harmonies there. We can't go on. Oh, that's, um, that's, yeah. Yeah. We can't go on. Way over enunciated. That's the deal. We can't go on. As we live a helping hand. Pretending day by day. Somehow we'll soon make a change. We are all a part of. Celine. Absolutely. Faith Evans. No. I don't know. That was Celine. That was Celine, yeah. Really? I want to hear Snoop Dogg. Yeah, she says lerv instead of love. Lerv. Lerv. Sienna, you're 24. Yeah. Do you remember the first We Are the World? No. No. So this is all new to you, right? No, I had heard it. You'd heard it. I remember my mom in the hospital when I was there. Yeah, some oldie station.
But I really like this one. Sienna's like, was it in black and white? Or, you know, when they originally filmed that, was it in black? I remember it like it was yesterday. I know, my mom came home with the vinyl. Yeah, and we were all sitting around the living room like, ooh. Wow. Simon LeBond from Duran Duran. I just remember going, God, that guy's cool, dude. Yeah. God, he's cool. I love how they kept Michael Jackson. They keep Michael. Oh, they did, yeah. The original. Stop it. I would say everyone, once every three years, we're going to have to do that, what I just did. Damn it. Once every three years. Why? I'll tell you later. That was funny. Who's that? Diana Ross? A lot of pressure. Every woman that sings once is like, they're Celine. Okay, let me hear. You sound like Diana Ross. Mary J. Blige? No. I don't know. Diana Ross. It has to be. Is she in there? We are the world. Janet Jackson. Miley. Miley. Love her. I like her voice. She has a new song. You gotta hear it. I love it. Who's that? Enrique Iglesias. Enrique. Yeah. Wow, I'm good. I like it. I'm in. I'm in on the whole thing. It's the same song, dude. I know, but... I mean, come on. I like the way they scrubbed it off. Well, no, they added a few little words specific to Haiti.
They did? Mm-hmm. What? Whoa. Rewind. Rewind it. Yeah, that was real. Rewind it. Busta Rhymes. Busta Rhymes. Absolutely. Hold on. Yeah, it's Wyclef, no? It's Wyclef. Is Wyclef in here? That's terrible. Yeah, it's almost inappropriate. Yeah. That's Busta. I don't see Wyclef. No Wyclef? I don't know. There's a list of 8,000. Stevie Wonder? Oh, yeah. Celine. This is pink. This is pink. I think it's Celine. Stop. I'm waiting for Snoop Dogg. Celine. There she is, finally. Celine. Stop. That's her. There she is. I think that actually might be her. That it is. It is.
She does that. That's how she sings. It's beautiful. Little cookie monster is going on. Dog, that's the only one I want to hear. I think he raps at the end or something. Of course it's at the end. We are the whizzy whizzy whizzle. Nobody does anything original anymore ever. I just want to say that I was on the same school of thought as Woods and I saw part of the video last night because Matt... Dragged it up. And we were cracking up. Because, like, Vince Vaughn and... Where's Vince Vaughn? Jeff Bridges, the dude from Big Lebowski. And we were like, what are they doing in there? And we're cracking up. But when I heard the audio without these, like, preconceived notions of who was in it and everything, it was actually... It's going towards a good cause. And I think there's some really good people in there. But when it gets to the part, Mikey, we have to get to that part or maybe fast forward, where all of a sudden...
The auto-tune guy is in there. I don't know. T-Pain. I don't know if it's T-Pain. T-Pain is in here, yeah. But he's like, yes. And I'm like, really? I'm going to have to skip around in it. I had to turn it off once it got to that point. How long is it? It's like seven minutes. Oh, jeez. See? No, that's not T-Pain. DMX. Wyclef again. Wyclef for a little change. Kanye. Kanye. Woodsy. Come on. This is a monumentous moment. I gave money. Well, it can never touch the original, but I like the... Akon. There it is. No, that's Akon. That's Akon. It's still the auto tune. It's true, we make a better day. Just you and me.
Not the place for it. I love it. Auto-tune. Absolutely the place. It was fit right in. 2010. Come on. Mix it up. Let's do a whole show in auto-tune. I would love it. Four hours of auto-tune. I will not podcast that. I never heard Snoop Dogg. I know. I'm so upset. I'll have to find it. I know. Hey, later we got to tell you about Kevin Smith got kicked off a flight for being too fat. It was unbelievable. Crazy story all over the news today. Kevin Smith, the director of Clerks, and for some reason Clerks 2. Jay and Silent Bob. Yep. Strike back. Yep. So we got to get to all of that. Hear about the lady that's suing Anderson Cooper? He's got a new house. A couple big things. First, we're going to talk about that right now. Later on, we've got to tell you what you're going to be hearing about. Cheney and the vice president getting into it. Biden. Yeah, Biden. But anyway, first...
Sienna, tell us about what the deal is with this Anderson Cooper deal. So Anderson Cooper, around September earlier, he bought Greenwich Village Firehouse, which he is now converting into a new home. It's an old firehouse, and he wants this hip, cool house. So he hired a 29-year-old interior designer, and her name is Killian. And she was checking out the properties, scoping it out, and she fell. 17 feet in a hole where the fire pole used to be and is lucky to be alive. No doubt. Actually, that is quite a fall. Well, what I don't get is how it happened, how she didn't know it was there. Well, I don't know. They said that it was just open. It should have been covered. She was walking around, probably, like, turning around, talking to someone. Looking at stuff. Like, looking over here. Something could look good here. Bam. Look at the light over here. Some crown moldings up here. Does she not know? Well, and I guess you can't. I'm trying to work my way through it. It should have been fenced off or something. She says what happened was the poles were removed and that somebody opened up the coverings before she got there. Oh, dude. Doesn't she know she's in a firehouse? Yeah. But I guess they're covered. They're covered. Most of the time. And the poles are gone. I don't know. The poles are gone. So you're walking and you're like, oh, this is cool. You don't see the big brass pole?
And you're just walking on, oh, this is amazing. But maybe it had like a drop cloth or something on it. Yeah. Right through. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, Anderson bought this house. Yeah, it was in September. And this woman suffered apparently severe and permanent damages. They didn't say what they were, but they were bad. And now she is suing him. 100%. She should win, too. That's bad. How are we on time? Are we good? Yeah, we're good. Okay, good. So. There's all of that. We're going to have Megan in here in just a little bit telling you about her date. And Woodsy and we can talk about that part right now. What? You and Jay being the chaperones for the date. Absolutely. On Saturday night, we fixed a listener up. Megan, 23 years old, strawberry blonde hair. Fixed her up on a date with a guy named Trey. And they went out to Pamplemousse for dinner on Saturday night. And while they were having dinner in the dining room. Woodsy and our producer Jay were in the bar area just hanging out. And how was it from your perspective? Well, I had a Mikey moment for sure. I got there about 25 minutes early, which is about typical for me. I mean, I'm usually early, early everywhere I go. Right. And I walk in and I realize Jay didn't get he and I a table because that would be weird. Right. So we're just going to find a couple seats at the bar. The bar's packed.
There's people standing behind the people that are sitting at the bar with their cocktails waiting. Saturday night, of course. And I'm sweat. Like, I start to sweat immediately. I'm like, Mikey, I'm like, oh, God, where are we going to sit? Where are we going to sit? Right. Are we going to be able to eat? Do we have to stand here the whole time? And like, what if we don't get a seat? Right. So I started to lose it a little bit. So finally, these guys paid their bill. And I was like, I jumped on it like a hawk. And I could see other people looking at me like, what a jerk. But I didn't care. So he takes me immediately. He's like. The kid got us the best seats at the bar. Don't even worry about it. I wasn't worried about it. I was going to walk in, find a place to, you know. Jay's like, I'm a gentleman. I wasn't worried about anything at all. I took care of business. He had my seat all set out. How did you feel being that guy holding the seat until he got there? And then this gorgeous woman and her boyfriend, her husband, walk up and she's like, is somebody sitting here? I'm like. Yeah, they are. If she was alone, then maybe you would have said no. I'm happily married, man. Yeah. So what happened? So we feasted. We ate. We ate. We had. I think I had something. Three sips of a bottle of or a glass of wine, a glass of wine. Jay had a couple of beers and I had a steak. Jay had tuna. Weird.
I got there early, and Trey was already waiting out front. He was probably 20 minutes early as well, waiting for Megan. He was standing there. He had a sweater on. He had a flower. What else did he have? He had the mixtape. What's his mixtape? Wow. I thought it was a strong move. Did it have all the songs? All the songs. All but one. What about the Cha-Cha Coochies? You didn't have the Cha-Cha Coochies on? No, he left off Jeff Buckley. Lover, lover, you should have come over because the intro is like two minutes long, so it takes forever. He got 19 of the 20 on there, which I thought was such a power move. What's he going to do with the mix? He gave it to her. He gave it to her. Which is money, I thought. 60% of the time. It works every time. It works every time, 60% of the time. Can I just say, I really think that we had quite the good little matchmaking session happen. I really think that, like, they... You do? Oh, yeah. I think it was great. They looked really cute together. I can't wait to hear. Well, I know he was nervous because we actually told Jeff. I walked over to check on him at one point. Jeff, the owner? Yeah, Jeff, the owner. Yeah, Jeff Pamplemousse. And I walked over to Mr. Pamplemousse. I walked over to Mr. Pamplemousse and told him that. I'm like, dude, they look like they're having fun, but the guy has not touched his food. Like he had a burger. He had a Kobe burger cut in half. There was nothing missing from it after like 20 minutes.
You got to eat that thing. You have to eat. You have to eat. He's probably doing a lot of talking. But it makes a person nervous if you're not eating. It's true. When we set them up on Friday, this was probably so awkward. I mean, they stayed the rest of the show. Yes. So once they were matched up, they had two hours to sit next to each other. while we were doing the show, but they couldn't talk because we're on the air. With the other bachelor, too. Yeah, and the other bachelor's sitting right on the other side of them, so the three of them are, like, sitting there. Like, they know they're going to go on a date the next night, but they can't talk. It's so awkward. When we would go into break, would they talk to each other? I don't know. I don't think so. I think everybody would talk to each other. Yeah, it was like a written conversation. But he was sitting, like, away from everyone eating his food for a while. It was really intense. I can't wait to find out how it went. I know. And hear the details of how it went. And Megan might be a little late because what's Megan doing right now? You know, she's my little sister, this Lauren O'Brien. She's got to pull the curtain back and speak out of school. I asked Megan if she would pick me up a breakfast burrito. I said, Megan, who we're like, oh, we'll set you up on a date. You're such a cute girl. Would you mind?
Just stopping by, getting us some breakfast. I need to do my dry cleaning as well at some point today. Can I just say that Megan is so sweet. She goes, of course. Does anyone else want anything? And the four of these vultures jumped all over me. The jackals jumped right in. Of course we wanted something. If you'd like to see our two favorite referees, you can go to MikeyShow.com right now. You can see actually on my camera, I think Sienna and I are both. Yep, you can see Sienna's striped. Amazing. We are matching dead on. They're wearing the same outfit. Incredible. We called each other last night. Our air conditioner at home, the LED on our thermostat went out and just kept blowing the air conditioner all night long. Did you wake up just... Dude, it was like 40 degrees and couldn't turn it off. Really? Yeah. Harold helped us out. Of course he did. Of course he did. We think he was able to get this thing turned off. But my wife says she, I don't know. But anyway, this was a meat locker at our place. What else happened this weekend? What's he got on a baseball team? I did, man. Oh, congrats. I got to tell you, I was like violently, like nauseous almost, like driving to this field. I'm like.
What's the quality going to be like? Now, this is California. They play year-round here. They pretty much do in Texas. And I've been playing on a men's team for the last 10 years. Hardball. Baseball. Is that what they call intramural? Or is that wrong? No, no. Intramurals are like in college. You play intramural. Like I played intramural football. What do they call this? It's Adult Baseball League. Adult Baseball League. Which they must make the distinction. Some people call it intramural. I want to go watch a game. It's S-D-A-B-L. The San Diego Adult Baseball League. So I go out there. Do you wear baseball pants, the white ones? Yeah, not white, gray. Okay, I have a question. This is something that bothers me. Yeah. You went out to when you try out, you wear that? I wore, yeah. Do your gray baseball pants go all the way to your ankles? Yes. Oh, why? I don't know who. made that decision to have the baseball pants go all the way to the ankles. They look so much better cut off under them. I also pull them up high. When I pitch, I put them up high. They look awesome and they make the butts look better. That's right. Is it so that the dirt doesn't get in there when you're sliding and stuff? But you have socks. It's a cool look. Some guys go high socks. Some guys go low. Did you make the team?
Yeah, there was like 50 dudes out there, and I think I was the third guy picked. Nice. Now, there's a single A. You can either get drafted for single or double. Yeah, and it was a draft. They had the managers there. They couldn't talk to you. You're out there. You're taking grounders. I got in the bullpen. I pitched a little bit. They had the radar gun on me. Nuh-uh. This is legit. I threw 70. I threw 70 at 34 with barely any warm-up. So you're a pitcher. Yeah. You're a pitcher? Yeah. And he threw 70 miles. I threw 70 yesterday. I mean, hey, I've thrown a lot harder, and I will throw harder this year. But first day out, I was very pleased. And Craig, your buddy Craig threw 74. Are you kidding me? Yeah, just a wild, like, loose cannon. He got picked up, too, by a double-A team. So I got drafted. Like, I was, like, the third dude drafted by the Brewers in the double-A, which was. Awesome. We had a good day. We had a lot of fun. Congrats. Todd played on the Brewers. Yeah, and now I'm a brewer now. But it was in the real Brewers. The minor league Brewers. The Milwaukee Brewers. This is fantastic. Kevin Smith got kicked off a plane because he's overweight. And he's upset about it. Understandably. I'll tell you what airline. We'll discuss it. Was it right? Was it wrong? Huge news today. Kevin Smith, the director.

Surf-wise today, we're looking pretty solid again as that west-northwesterly swell remains pretty steady. A little bit of a southwest cross breaking it up. Might be a notch or two down from yesterday, but plenty of chest overhead waves can be found on average. Top spots still seeing occasional set waves approaching that double overhead mark. All areas being affected, though, by tide swings, mega-high this morning, right around, oh, about 9.30, looking at a 5.77 high, which is pretty much up there. dropping down to a negative low towards sunset. So, again, you have to kind of play the day by the tides. Beach breaks looking a bit walled up still. A few more corners by the structured areas and some of the better sandbars. Reef breaks, with the amount of size we have, they're breaking, but they're going to back off some of that high tide, improving more later in the day. Sunny skies, offshore winds, another day of solid surf. For up-to-the-minute surf reports, forecasts, go to surfline.com for everything you need in order to go surf.

More of the Mikey Show on FM 94.9. Hey, that's Bjork. Welcome back. Great. That's Bjork? Yep. I didn't even know that. She's cool. Is she? It's weird. Super weird. Yeah, but the music's all right. Is it? Yeah. All right. I'll show you some stuff. Maybe that's not your style, but you know what I mean? They do a great Bjork on SNL. They do? I've never seen it. It's so funny. Okay, so Kevin Smith is a big story today. I mean, literally. I don't know who he is. Did, really? He's a movie director. He did Clerks.
And he's in a lot of movies, but Clerks is probably the most famous. Let's see what he's done. And he's got a beard and a mustache, very recognizable. He's a big figure. How ironic I said that. Big figure. He's always at Comic-Con, right? He looks a little bit like Michael Moore. He does. He does look a little bit like Michael Moore. He's way cooler than Michael Moore, though. He's cooler, but he kind of looks like him. Okay. He did Dogma, right? Yeah, he did Dogma, Mallrats, Chasing Amy. He did Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl, Zach and Mary Make a Porno. Isn't he Silent Bob? He is Silent Bob. He's Silent Bob in those. Yeah, Clerks is the biggest. So here he is talking about what happened. So, you know, I'm going to buckle, and all of a sudden Suzanne comes in, leans down, and she goes, Mr. Smith, hi, we have kind of a problem. Now, first thing comes into my head, oh my God, my mother died? Because that's what I'm trained for. You know what I'm saying? Like weird phone calls in the middle of the night, some stranger coming up to you going, Mr. Smith, I have something bad to tell you. I did not for a single second think what was coming was coming because it was beyond my comprehension. You know what I'm saying? Again, I know I'm fat, but I'm not that fat. You know what I'm saying? Like there's fat and there's fat.
There are people who are fat like me, but double wide like me. But we also fly all the time. And I just flew there on one seat. Is that his wife talking? I don't know. I don't know who's talking. I don't know who's interviewing him. But he apparently, well, he says that the policy with Southwest, if you can't put the arm rails down, you can't fly. But he says he could. He says he could put the arm rails down. Their seats are so small. I'm looking at pictures of him right now. I don't think he is either. I don't think he is either. That's shocking. Shocking. That's shocking. The seats are too small for me on the plane. They're pretty small. They are. And Lauren's skinny. But they're small. You could fit three of you in one of those seats. No, I'm always like... Well, yeah, nobody's ever comfortable on a plane. Ever. Unless you're in first class. It just seems like a real extreme case that somebody couldn't fly because they were too big. Well, I get that. But he's not that guy. I've seen that guy before. Oh, I was that guy. They had to have an extender. No. No way. Me and Eddie were flying to New York City. No way.
Delta Airlines had to get an extender. I don't remember you being that big. You didn't know me when I was. I had already had gastric bypass surgery when you met me. Really? Yeah. I had gastric bypass surgery June 2000. You met me December 2000. I'd already lost like 75 pounds. That's, yeah, that explains it. Yeah, yeah. No, wait. Did you know me when I was, did you know me? Absolutely. Yeah, yeah, Jay did. Absolutely. I used to weigh 324 pounds. No way. Yeah. And so they would have kicked me off of that sucker. But I don't... Kevin Smith? I don't get it. I don't get it. I mean, he don't look that big to me. So they made him get off the plane? Yeah. That's humiliating. Of course it is. That's awful. But I mean, that's some kind of policy. What sort of policy are we talking about? Now, we've only heard Kevin's side of the story so far. We haven't heard from Southwest. And we will. I saw it on the news last night where he got an apology and I think a $100 voucher. He turned it down. He turned down the voucher. Because he needs a $100 voucher. Yeah. Man. Shocking. M1 Tony, are you there? Hey. Tony, what's up? What's going on? I just wanted to...
call in and tell you about my Valentine's Day yesterday because I don't know what to do. I thought perhaps you could shed some light on my situation. I'm confused by what it says on my phone screening, so I don't know if it's good or bad. Well, what does it say? It said that you said, I love you on Valentine's Day. I did. Oh, for the first time? Yes. Oh, congrats. For the first time. My girlfriend, Jen, and I went out to dinner, and I was really excited about it, you know, anticipated it all day, and I guess I just got caught up in the moment, and, you know, the day of love and all the romance and everything that comes with it, and I wound up, you know, blurting it out. I love you! I love you! It just came out. I mean, it wasn't like I had Tourette's or anything. It just came out, you know? Was it planned? Her response was thanks. Oh. Yeah. Thanks? Thanks? Yeah. I'll take awkward moments for $10,000. Oh, dude. Man. Yeah. You're welcome. I, uh.
Couldn't help but remember when you guys were talking to that guy who asked that Lauren took for a kiss and she shook his hand. Yeah. Yeah. They're all sisters, dude. They're all sisters. Okay, well, on the flip side, I mean, I'm really, what's the caller's name again? Tony? Tony. Tony, yeah. I'm sorry, but what is she supposed to do if she's not ready? Say I love you, too. She's not ready, though. What if she's not ready? Doesn't matter. I don't know. We've been seeing each other for like six months. months and I didn't feel like it was inappropriate. I have an answer for Lauren's question, by the way. I think that if somebody says I love you and you don't love them back because he's got a little tiny dog. Listen, if you don't feel the same, I think that you should say The obligatory, I love you too? No, I don't. I think that you should say I'm not ready to say that. Yeah. I think thanks is the most... I think thanks is the most demoralizing, humiliating, uncomfortable, awkward thing you could possibly... Thank you. Did she tap you on the shoulder when she said it, too? Just saying. Would you quit trying to make it even worse? I seriously was, like, confused. And I was so angry about it. I kind of broke up with her. I have advice for you. Wait, wait, wait, wait!
Wait. Did you say you broke up? Yes, and now I'm regretting it. Wait, I'm so confused. Yeah, go back, go back, go back, go back. Let me see if I get this right. You guys are at dinner. Yes. And you're like, I love you. And she's like, thanks. And you're like, what? We're done. Yeah, how did it happen? Well, I mean, we were talking about how great things were going and, you know, kind of talking about. You know, the possibilities of the future and stuff. And I just said, well, I'm really glad you feel that way because, you know, if you hadn't noticed, I'm falling in love with you. And she said, thanks. And, you know, so it was really awkward and kind of silent then through the rest of dinner. And like I said, I mean, I blew it. I closed down and the wall went up because... My ego was bruised, I guess. Yeah. It's not your fault. You're protecting yourself. And so what did you do? Well, I took her home afterwards. I mean, we were going to go see a movie, and I just couldn't. Oh, I don't blame you. I took her home, and I said, look, I really don't feel like we have mutual feelings for one another. Good for you, dude. That was an overreact.
I don't want to play any games with any, you know, and I don't know. I just blew it. Good for you, dude. Good for you. The guy's protecting himself. Wait, what did she say when you broke up with her? Well, she obviously was offended, and, you know, she got out of the car, and I've been texting her since. And you're being inappropriate. She hasn't responded? That's the worst bit. She apologized, and she just hasn't been responding to me at all, and I just feel like, you know, I just feel horrible. I'm going to say this observationally. I'm not saying this to hurt you. I'm not saying this. I think that she thinks that it's weird. You know what, though? I think she thinks it's weird. I kind of have his back. What do you mean? What do you mean? I mean this. Like I'm a creeper or something? No, no, I don't mean that. I mean that if you say I love you and she's not prepared to say it, And your response to that is, we're not going to the movie, and by the way, I don't want to see you anymore. It is weird. And then you proceed to blow her up with texts? I know. She's like, what's going on here? I'm agreeing with you. Okay. Because I was hurt. That hurt that I didn't get that in return. Yeah, it slays you. I understand. I reacted on it instead of just letting it be and let things...
tapping in their own time. I'm an idiot. No, you're not. You're not an idiot. I think after six months, that's usually a good time to say I love you. And if you're feeling it, don't ever be sorry for saying something that you feel. You should always do that. I agree. And I think that... Her reaction was bad and you obviously reacted badly to her bad reaction and you shouldn't have taken her home. But obviously, you know, it was a moment that just hit you really hard and you were feeling sad and vulnerable. And so I just I don't know. I think she should have answered. How many texts did you send? I have four or five. That's not bad. That's not bad. That's not bad. That's not bad. That's not bad if you have obsessive compulsive disorder. How bad does he wish he had a DeLorean right now that he can go back in time? Yes. I'm serious. I feel horrible because I really do love her. Nice. And I just feel like, oh my gosh, how could I have acted like that? That is not how you treat somebody you love. Tony, did she respond to one of those texts?
No, she hasn't responded to anything. That's what I think is maybe, I mean, I think she's weirded out. She's weirded out, but I think she should respond. Absolutely. His heart hurts. Yeah, I do too. Like, she should know that she hurt his heart. The no response bit is awful. She's doing that thing that Rebecca does. That women do. You broke up with me. You broke up with me. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, why would I talk to you? It's a pride thing right now. Oh, let me get this straight. But she knows why he broke up with her. Yeah, let me get this straight. You told me I love you. I didn't feel the same way back, so you break up. with me? That's okay. The bigger problem in her mind right now is that you broke up with me, not the I love you. Can we call her, Tony? Absolutely not. But we can make it better if we explain it. It's bad enough already, you guys. Hey, let the kid talk to her, dude. We'll make it real. I will. Not that I don't trust you, but I just, I really think that, I mean, at that point, then she's like, oh, yeah, the last thing she needs is a radio. Yeah, right. I get it. I get it. If you already think that this is weird, I mean, how weird are we going to take this? Hey, what do you get to lose, pal? Hey, wait, wait, wait. Honestly,
And I totally get where you're coming from, and I respect it. And tell me if you don't want it, it's fine. I'm just saying, what if logic wins out? What if we speak to her and it's logical and it goes well? What if it does go well? What if it totally blows up in my face? Dude, it can't get worse than it is. It's not going to get any worse. Yeah, it can't get worse. I don't know. Five texts, Lauren. Five texts she hasn't responded. That's not that bad. It's not that bad? I mean, it's not. He just broke up with her. It was an emotional, it was Valentine's Day. I mean, crazy stuff can happen. Maybe she just needs a little time. I mean, I'm hoping that she could, like, put herself in my shoes. And, I mean, although, be it that I totally reacted inappropriately, kind of understand where I was coming from because my feelings were hurt. If I was Tony, I'd be packing and moving right now. No. I'd just move. Stop, Tony, don't move. I just move. Dude, my heart breaks for you because I've been there, pal. We've all been there. I've been there. You know where else I've been? I've been like 10 text guy. Absolutely. Lauren almost just threw up in her mouth. There's so much that can go wrong with a text message. There's so much that can be read between the lines. And I think the best thing to do is for Tony to call her.
I think you should go over there. I think you should kick the door down. I think you should. Just say I made a huge mistake. Maybe you're not ready, but I'm serious. And I think the best thing you said since you called was, you know, you don't treat someone you love like that. And so you know how you treated her was badly. And so just tell her you love her and you're willing to wait. Tony, do you have a boom box? Stop. So embarrassed. Do you have a boombox? Yes. Why? Because if you have a boombox, just put on a gray trench coat, hold the boombox over your hair. Now, forget the trench coat. No. Wear the trench coat. And just put a boombox over your head and play Peter Gabriel's in your eye. Can you hear the song I'm playing right now? I don't even know. Can you hear it? I love this song. Yeah. This is what you do. What is she going to do? Such a good song. What will she do? stands there. Every time I see that movie, dude, I get teary-eyed. Dude, I just didn't get chills. I love it. I did too. They did a little bit on it on Modern Family with the kid holding up his iPhone. They did one on SNL too. The neighbor comes up and he's like, what are you doing out here, man? Playing your boombox? Just holding a boombox over my head in a trench coat, that's all. What of it? What's the deal with that?
Help him. I feel like I said it. Tony, are you sure you don't want to call her? I kind of think that you guys are going to make it worse. I mean, especially in light of the boombox. Why would you think that? I won't talk about the boombox. Hang on, Tony. Hang in a line. I really want to help. Jay, work your man. Can you do your thing? Yeah, I'll work on it. Yeah, because Sienna wants to help. We're joking on him. I will call her and I will make this happen. Sienna would call her off the air. I will. I need to meet you for coffee today. The thing is, he doesn't sound like a crazy person. He's admitting, I can't believe I did that. He's like, what? I sent her 27 texts. What's the big deal? He's not saying that. I feel bad for him. I know, I do too. It's such a big thing to throw out there. It's bad. Saying I love you is so scary. And it's so bad because after you send the third text, you're all the way in. Yeah, you're in. Why not just keep rolling the dice? Then you start sending the mad text. I can't believe you're doing this to me. Really? You're not responding? We're all psychos. Every one of us. But then you get sweet. You're like, you know, I really do care about you. You go through the whole range of emotions via text.
That's a guy thing. They need a breathalyzer on these things, on these cell phones. It's a guy thing. I don't know. Girls do it, too. Yeah, but I think they, I don't know. What, Lauren? I've done it. Yeah. Girls are so good at doing the silent treatment, though. I've never done that. But girls do the same thing, too, where they mess up and they'll text you 58,000 times. I'm so bad at it. Listen, a great one. Back about 10 years ago, I went on a date with a girl, okay? And it was a good date. It was a good date. My dad was getting an award out of town. And I had to fly into town for this award banquet that my dad was doing. The girl that I went on the date with calls me. I get home. There are four messages from her. I had an answering machine. Okay? And the very first message is like, Hey, what's up? Had a great time. Oh, my gosh. You know, I was just wondering what you were doing. Same night. No, over the course of the weekend. Okay. I was gone for the weekend. Right, you had to fly home. Call me back right now. So funny. But anyway, if you can call me, I'll talk to you later. Okay? Oh, no. I thought we had a good time, but... Oh, God. If you can call me back, that's terrible. And you know what? Every single guy is all the same. See ya. See ya. I called her back, and I was like...
Yeah, my dad won an award and I was out of town presenting my father with an award. I was so that girl. You were? Really? Not all the time, but I would do that every once in a while. I've had those freak out moments. Actually, it's funny. I call them Mikey moments, but not you. Yeah, thanks. Not you. Mikey from Swingers. He gets that number. He calls it 30 times. That's me. And he keeps calling her back. Until he finally goes through the whole gamut of the emotions. It's not you. It's me. It's something I'm going through. Every voicemail should have the option now to go back and review your options. Press 5. And be able to delete. They have this little beta app on Gmail where you have three seconds where you can unsend something if you realize. That's not enough time. No. Three seconds is not enough time. You need 30. You need 30 years. But they need that for text messages. Phone calls. The text. I've gotten in so much trouble texting. I'm going to give the best piece of advice I could give to anybody. It doesn't matter whether it's an email or a phone call or whatever. Do not respond quickly. That's all. That's the hard part, dude. What, Lauren? No, it's a good rule of thumb. It's a great rule of thumb. It's something that you need to think about. I said to Lauren, right? I wrote Lauren an email last night. I said, hey, let me process this. Yeah. You know.
You're a big processor. I'm not. I'm a processor. I don't process anything. No. Woods is like, I even said that to my wife. I go, it's so funny because I got this email from a guy that even lives out of state, listens to the show online. He says he's already picking up Woods-isms. He's already saying, get. And the guy's already saying, done. Yeah. Now, do you know what done is? Done is what Woods says before you're even done with a sentence. You go, you go, Woodsy. Now, this is before he was married, okay? You'd go, Woodsy. It's a girl I want you to meet. Done. Hang on. Okay. This girl's absolutely gorgeous. Done. Hang on. I mean, dude. I'm done. Scale of one to ten, she's a ten. Done. Say no more. But I have to tell you something. She's in prison. Done. Done. Done. She won't be sniffing around what I'm doing on the weekends. He's the same when you talk about lunch. Okay, so I'm thinking for lunch, done. Done. I'm in.
Food, done. I'm thinking Italian, done. Woodsy reacts from his heart. He's a very passionate guy. He reacts immediately from his heart. And so if he feels that a text, if it's in his head, it's going in the text. 100%. And send is being sent. I'm the same way. You are, Sienna? Oh, yes. I'm very, you know, if something strikes me badly, yeah. Yeah, I'm reactive. Like the second I first see it, I'm upset. My wife is... She can be a complete computer. She will process the emotion. You've sent a sentiment. I've read it. I'll process the sentiment. I'll deem whether or not it's something that should be responded to appropriately now or whether or not I should take some time to process that. and then respond to it in the appropriate manner. Wow. That's how Todd is, too. Really? He's so good about it. I'm so bad. If he gets a text or something that's bad and he's just like, what? He's like, okay, now's not the time to respond, you know? And I'm like, dude, how do people do that? How do you do that? Respond, get mad. It's a good, I mean, it sounds so, like, cliche, but they say about, like, writing a letter but never actually sending it. I do that sometimes. It works. I'll do, like, a Word document and I'll write out what I want to say to somebody. And sometimes I don't even need to say.
85% of what's in there. So I'm like, I got it out on paper. Got it out of my head. That's a good idea. I send it to everyone. Yeah. Immediately. Do it in a Word document, not in your address. Immediately. That'll kill you. Anyway. Kid's a passionate guy. I want to help this kid Tony. Jay has been on the phone this entire time with Tony. Get him. She's in there selling. Set, uh, Megan out on a date to Pample Moose Restaurant on Saturday night. And we all week long had people that were going online, taking a look at Megan and applying for the date. And so we did the dating game on Friday. And Megan selected a guy named Trey. Right? Trey? Yes, that was his name. Now, here's the deal.
Now, yeah, you just used past tense. It didn't go well. Immediately nervous. Now, we don't know anything. I mean, purposefully haven't asked until now. But what I do know is that Trey arrived 20 minutes early. I didn't even know that. Yeah, you arrived 20 minutes early. And so did you get there right on time, Megan, or were you a couple of minutes later? How did you get there? I think I got there at exactly 8.15. Exactly. Really? Because I was outside that. Blasting a cig. Of course. And talking to Trey. Weird. And she rolls up at 8.50 on the nose. On the dot. That's cool. I think that's great. I'd be furious. What? If you're on time, you're late. Are you serious? You're on time, you're late. Come on. I'm going to start showing up here at 6.15. I'm going to start showing up here at 6. Okay. Now, Megan. In your own words, I want you to describe how it went from start to finish. Oh, goodness. Okay. Well, right away, I thought it was really cute that he had the red rose in hand and the mixtape. That was definitely a really good touch. Power move. Get over yourself. It was Woods' mixtape that Woods posted on his blog. Power move. He got major brownie points right from the get-go with that. Yeah.
Looked really good. Looked really good. He had a little, I don't even know, like a sweater and a collared shirt under it. Sharp. He looked good, yeah. How about you? What did you wear? I was wearing, this is going to, when I did. Oh, wow. She's old enough to be your daughter. I know. Or young enough, I mean. Yeah, yeah, exactly. I had on knee-high white boots, but would I say that? It sounds really like hookerish, but it wasn't. It wasn't hookerish. It wasn't. No, it was classy. Classy white boots. No, it was like a nun's thigh-high white boots. You know, it was like those kind, you know? No, but you were rocking the boots, and what else? Yeah, and I don't know, this long red sweater thing. Very Valentine's-y. Yes. And a white shirt. Cool. They both looked really, really nice. Yeah. Classy. So you go in. Yeah. We had to wait for a few minutes, so we sat down, kind of chatted, and they sat us. And the conversation, I thought, was pretty good. We had maybe a couple silences, but it wasn't too awkward. I mean, we practically closed the restaurant down. Nice. Yeah, we stayed until, gosh, like 1130, I think. Whoa. Wow. I was in my bed by...
10 o'clock. Wait, weren't you guys supposed to be chaperones? No, that's what I said. He just went for the free meal, I think. Yeah. They bailed like halfway through. We wanted to make sure everything went off without a hitch. I'm not going to sit there and hover above them. Everything went off without a hitch. They were taken care of. We left. All right. Consenting adults. You stayed there till 1030 at night? 1130. 1130. Woo! Oh, my goodness. It was like our first date as a team. I know. Yeah. At the same restaurant. When we all met as a team for the first time and got together as a team, we did the same thing. We stayed there and we could have stayed longer. Yeah. I made you guys change the reservation time to five and I showed up at 545. I thought you showed up at like seven. Yeah. I remember my stomach was going. Because I hadn't eaten. So you guys stayed until 11.30. Yeah. So conversation must have gone great. Yeah. I mean, we have a lot more in common than I thought we did. Because when I was asking the questions on Friday, he made the Godfather and Elvis comment. And I don't, I'm not. He said Godfather was his favorite movie. Right. And that Elvis would be. Elvis fan. Who he would want to go on a.
To dinner with. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He can pick anyone. And I'm not, like, a huge fan of either of those, but he sounded like a cool guy, so I picked him. And, yeah, we have a ton in common. Really? Yeah. Can I just say, I hope that Trey is listening right now, because when do you ever get firsthand information on how a first date went? Never. Awesome. Yeah, that never happens. Gold. You never get to hear right from the girl's mouth what she thought of you, what she thought of the date, what she... You have to guess. And... That kid right now, he probably didn't sleep a wink last night. Of course. Just waiting for this. Trey, I hope you're listening. All good. But then at the same time, you got to think, he had to have known that it went pretty good. They shut the place now. Yeah. Maybe she was just really polite. No. Maybe he was wondering. Because it wasn't like forced conversation. It came natural to a certain, like, towards the end of the night, like, it just, the conversation flowed, I thought. And you think he's attractive. Yeah. See, because that's the thing, you know, I mean. Obviously, it comes down to a lot of chemical, too. You know what I mean? A lot of chemical? Like alcohol? We actually did not have any alcohol. I know. I walked by. I was like, she had like a Coke and I think he had a water. I know. We're so boring. So great. Woods is like, hey, can I get you guys a Shirley Temple while I'm leaving? You want to hit off my flask of Yeager? So Woods said that he got a burger and he didn't touch it for like 20 minutes.
He had half of it, and I actually gave him a really hard time. Because he wasn't eating? For not finishing it, and he said he felt like less of a man. Yeah, because he, well, yeah, what Woodsy noticed was that he wasn't eating, and I said earlier, I was like, well, you gotta eat, it'll make it uncomfortable for the girl. You know what, though? Like, we had the appetizer, and... Everything was really, really, really good. But it was super filling, to be honest with you. So I don't blame him for not finishing it. Good food, though, right? Yeah, it was really good. I had sea bass. Yeah. And we had the lobster ravioli appetizer. Everything was delicious. That's awesome. And then you guys are talking about the desserts. With my goodness. They brought us a sampler of everything. Bananas Foster. Which was phenomenal. What? Did you have the Bananas Foster? Actually, I don't think that was on there. Sienna obsesses with Diana's foster. The only question Sienna had for the date. Good. Sienna's like, I don't care if they kissed. Did she have the Diana's foster? Did you have it? Next time. So let's get to the important stuff. Right. So at the end of a date, there's usually a, well, shall we do this again? There's that kind of thing. Okay. There's a, so can I get your number?
There has to be something that links you to the person one more time. Even if it's, hey, I'm Facebook. Hey, are you? Well, that would be creepy if he started Facebook stalking me. You have his phone number. Or you throw your keys in their car as they leave. You want to come over? Did you guys hear? She has his phone number. Yeah, we did that whole thing. How did it go down? How did it happen? So he walked me to my car and... Look at Lindsay, so nervous. You are such a dork. Lindsay just stood up. Very interesting. He said, like, oh, I had a really good time. I'd like to do this again. I agreed and suggested that we exchanged phone numbers, which we did. And then we talked for, like, a couple more minutes. He gave me a kiss on the cheek, and that was that. Amazing. It's a good move. Yeah. It's better than a hug. But not creepy. I like when you guys kiss on the cheek. It's such a risk going in there, though. And if they're like, whoa, easy, Captain. Like Lauren. Lauren would have kneed him in the garage. No, I did that to somebody that was from Australia. And he did that. He went in and I went, whoa, easy, cowboy. And then I saw him around his other female friends. He does that to his mom. That's what I love.
But what Megan didn't say was he went in for the lips and she turned the cheek. Oh, that didn't happen. I'm just kidding. That would have been awkward. I know, that would have been really bad. Was he Lauren? Yeah, that would have been a Lauren move. You and me girls have kisses I didn't want to just because they tried? Done. Sure they tried. Lauren's like, okay, stop it. Leave me alone. Stop it. Leave me alone. He's like, I was just, that's what we do here. Sorry. I don't hug. That's all right. So did you make plans to do something in the future? We haven't yet. And you haven't talked since the date? He sent me like a happy Valentine's Day text last night. That was a good move. Cute. Other than that, we haven't talked yet. It's only been a day. Did you write him back? He played it soon. Did you put the letter U? No, I actually spelled the whole word out. I took the time to spell out Y-O-U. Did you put a smiley face or no smiley face? No, no smiley. There was an exclamation point. We're really going into detail here. Is that it? You just put U2 exclamation? No, I said happy Valentine's Day to you too. I think there should have been a smiley face. Is that it?
Yes? What else am I supposed to say? I feel like there's something that we're not hearing. Can we call him? No. I don't think there's anything we're missing. You do? Are we missing anything? No. You guys can call him if you want. I thought that was actually how this was going to work. Me too, but we don't really plan anything. We just kind of wing it. Yeah, we wing it. Let's do it. Hey, Jay, you got his number? Megan has his number. Yeah, Megan's got it. Jay's still on the phone with Tony. Aw, poor Tony. It's like, Tony, please let us call her. So, what time did the text come through? The Valentine's text? Oh, gosh. I don't know. That's an important thing. Why is that important? Because if he did it at... Six in the morning, it'd be a little creepy. That's weird. Totally weird. It was sometime in the middle of the day-ish. Smart. Noon. I think he's good. Question. Okay. How long did it take you to respond to the text? Well, I was at... I think I was at work. So, maybe an hour or so. Good move. Yeah. Let him squirm. I didn't wait until like the next day or anything. You just put happy Valentine's Day to you two, exclamation point. Exclamation point. I would have been vomiting in a cup waiting for that hour. That hour. Of course. I think he did a perfect job. Yeah, me too. Kiss on the cheek, exchange of numbers, send the happy Valentine's Day text. He knew she was at work. I don't know if he knew that I was at work. I didn't exactly tell him. It was a safe move. I think that was good. I think he did good. What would you have done, Mikey?
Texted more. No, you don't want to be overly... Yes, he would have been like, I had a really great time with you. My heart is yours to have. I think I'm falling in love with you. After all the stops and starts, we keep coming back to these two hearts. I see my children in your eyes. I knew when you ordered that lobster ravioli, we were a match made in heaven. Creepy. I love you. I love you. I'd like to make love for you. And that's when I would have filed a restraining order. I would have gotten her drunk on the day. That would have been my first plan of attack. So, do you like Pinot? Weird. There'd be some Frenching for sure after that. 100% we would have Frenched. Can you guys stop saying French? If there's drinks on a first date, they're Frenching. There will be Frenching. I don't know what kind of dates you guys go on. Grown up dates. We have Trey. Drinking dates. We have Trey. I can't hear Trey. Trey. Yeah.
Hello. Come here. Trey, she thought the date went well. Well, good. I thought it went well, too. And nice move with the Valentine's text. Thank you. They're going to know everything. And the mix CD. And the mix CD. I thought that would be a good touch, yes. Oh, hold on. Have you listened to it? Yeah, it was actually really good. Of course it's really good. And you said even on Friday that you put them in a specific order. And it was good because it was like a gradual buildup. Dude, I totally know what I'm doing. Sienna's so irritated. Sienna hates it. Like, she hates that I'm talented. She hates that you. Well, you're not talented. Woods. Have you listened to this yet? No, I haven't. Of course not. Well, you can't judge them yet. Okay, this is what I'm saying. I'm sure it's good, but he's like, I'm the man. I can do everything phenomenally. Seriously. This is the mix. Trust me. And it's like, dude. That's the mix. How good is it? It was good. Thank you. It was really good. So Megan. Or no, excuse me. Trey. Trey. Yeah, yeah. So did you, you have to be really honest or I'll know. Did you plan this text this way? Yeah. What do you mean? It's your favorite part of the story is the text. Of course it is. You know, because you know what the best part of a date, the best part of a date is the strategic planning. And I'm sorry, it is strategic. It was probably a mass text.
It was a mass text. It was a mass text. His mom got the same one. Did you? No, honestly, Mikey, you're right. I did kind of do it as kind of a test. You know, send it out, see if I get a response back. Because if I don't get a response back, that's bad news. Yeah. So, yeah. For the record, Trey. She has a big smile on her face right this second. Yeah, for sure. Well, I'm interested. Yeah, to see how guys work. To hear how guys work. And so, Trey, tell me from your perspective what you thought of her. Pretend she can't hear you. Yeah, just pretend. I thought she was great. In all honesty, it was one of the better first dates that I've been on. I'm usually a normally shy guy. I'm not a good conversationalist, but she's... Like you said, she's so confident that, like, it was pretty easy to, like, just ease into it and just enjoy each other's company. You want to marry her and have babies? Oh, God. We're really taking this too far. Do you love her? Yeah, are you in love with her, Trey? I don't want to be like poor Tony. Poor Tony. What are you doing right now, Trey? I'm sitting here in my room listening to you guys. Nude with an acoustic guitar. He's sitting in his boxers. Did you set your alarm because you knew Megan was coming in?
I woke up when the show started, yeah. Oh, boy. Ever since. Well, Jay said that he was going to call him, I think. Jay was asleep. Jay was convincing Tony. Would it be strange if he was in a nightgown and a rocking chair? Yep, yep, it would. Okay, just asking, just asking. So you guys had a great time, it sounds like, and oh, man, it would be so cool for ratings if you married her and got babies. Maybe you guys could hook that up. No pressure. Let's not go there. No pressure. Hook it up. We'll see what we can do. You only live once. I think there should be a second date. Megan's 23. And Trey, how old are you again? I'm 25. That's perfect. That's perfect. That's good. She needs a mature man. You need him a little bit older sometimes, but you know. I thought they looked really cute together. I would walk, you know, I walked and I looked and I was like, I had like a little grin. You were like throwing breadcrumbs at him. Yeah, it was great. I thought it looked good. Trey, do you have any ideas about maybe the next one? Well, she told me that a good first date would be skydiving. So that's a lot of pressure. You are intense. Oh, my gosh, Megan. Technically, it would be a second date. You're off the hook, my friend. If that were me, I'd be like, this girl's gorgeous. I'm never talking to her again. I'm never talking to her again. I think that would be such a rad date, skydiving. No? Is anyone with that? Yeah, if you watched me vomit all over myself. I think I would have to, like...
be in love with them by the time I could do that. I'd need to feel comfortable. I would need to mainline Xanax. I would need to be able to freak out. That'd be such a cool date. Trey, what did you think? How do you feel? I'm in. You can come, Jay. I'm pretty sure you're married, Jay. Jay would, though. What do you think of that, Trey? I would totally go if somehow I was able to set that up eventually. He's like, Mikey, hope you hook that up. We'll talk to our salespeople. Yeah, are you guys going to pay for the second date, too? Yeah, we'll see what we can do. We'll just pay for your whole relationship. Yeah, the wedding. My mom's the wedding planner. Maybe we can get a deal. Let us get some bumper stickers first. Trey, what would you do? You know, passive-aggressive shot, man. Hey, listen, when I talk to Scott Shannon about it, enough, enough. Trey, what would you like to do on a second date? Getting to know each other phase. So, hopefully... Let's just sleep together, probably. That's what we do. French. Wow. Maybe something a little more active where we can dance or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We did talk about that. Megan, do you like to dance? Tango lessons. Oh, God. I'm skeeved out. Why? Oh, I can't dance. Me either. I would not dance tonight. The hottest girl in the world would say, I want you to take me dancing. And they'd be like, sorry, I can't do it. I'm not going. I think we should have a Mikey Show dance party. Zero percent. I can see you guys dance now. Oh, forget it. I dance like this.
Oh, look at that. Oh, no. This is horrible. Oh, yeah. If a girl said, let's go dancing, I'd be like, oh, it's really nice knowing you. Good to talk to you. Really nice to know you. If by dancing you mean me sitting at the bar and you're dancing. If by dancing you mean me sitting on the couch with a wireless laptop, then I would love to dance with you. I'll dance with you online any day. Yeah. Are you the guys who will dance after you have, like, five drinks? Yes. I need, like, 17 drinks and I'll dance. I'll dance. Shirtless. Well, I'm a girl, but I'll dance. All girls can dance. Without drinks. And all girls love to dance. No, let's go dancing. I don't really love it. That's what I say to that. Why? But, hey, you two kids, you love birds. It sounds like you're going to have a great time. So, yeah, let us know how it goes. Oh, man, I wish I could follow the whole thing. I want to see what Trey is going to do. We'll make a documentary out of it. That would be great. Thank you, Trey. All right, thanks. See you, dude. Bye. We'll see you. He's a good guy. Seems like a really good guy. He does seem like a good guy. You know what? And it's funny because you guys were talking about it earlier, how after we did the little game show thing, we were all sitting in the studio. And it was kind of awkward. It was very awkward. Because it wasn't like opportunity. And you guys couldn't talk because we were on the air. And it was like, oh, how's sitting next to you? I know we're going to date tomorrow night, but we can't talk right now. So I wasn't sure if the conversation was going to be weird. And I knew that he said he was kind of shy. But yeah, the conversation.
You know, there wasn't really a whole lot of lols in there. I was surprised. That's awesome. That's cool. Okay, so there are, well, congratulations to you two, and I'm sure you guys are going to be doing something. You guys all have beautiful kids. Very special. Very special. Very simple. Let's see. Number one movie at the box office, Sienna. Do I even need to tell you? Youth in Revolt. Again, it was the one that I picked. You're like me. You're making fun of me for bragging and listening to yourself. Well, exactly. That's why I don't like that you do it because I do it too. Yeah, fair enough. We're exactly alike. Was it Valentine's Day or Dear John? It was Valentine's Day, people. Valentine's Day. I said Dear John the last weekend. It won, beat Avatar. This weekend I said Valentine's Day, number one. Wow. We're seeing that tomorrow, right? Oh, yes, we are, my friends. Oh, it's tomorrow. That's right. And while we're talking about Valentine's Day, can I just throw in this Julia Roberts fact? Yeah. She's in the movie Valentine's Day. And I'm very sorry. So is everybody. Well, no, I know. I'm in it. Oh, don't say what I said. You jinx. Yeah. But I'm very sorry to say that apparently she's only in the movie for like six minutes. You'll never guess how much she got paid to be in that movie for six minutes. Let's guess. Six minutes. Six minutes. Six million. I will say.
Be realistic. I'm going to be realistic because she's a big star. Yeah. But she doesn't have the same cachet she used to. She hasn't been in a movie in a long time, so this is kind of like a comeback. Yeah, but you're bringing it up, so I'll say just the fact that you're bringing it up means something. Yeah. This will gross me out if this is true, but I'm going to say 10. I said three. Lauren O'Brien? I was kidding at a million a minute, but it's got to be at least seven figures. I'm going to go 1.3. Woods is right. She made $3 million for a six-minute appearance in Valentine's Day. Do you know how much that is? $500,000 a minute she made. A minute. Probably two hours work, if that. If that. She's a pro. How many takes? Two, three takes. Depends on how many different. She was just in one scene. Yep. I don't know. It just says that she's in about six minutes. I think it's probably one scene. Well, we'll all know tomorrow, won't we? We will. Nap time. Oh, I thought we were going to see Theo John. We're going to see you Valentine's Day. That's why Woods and I switched, because I wanted to see Valentine's Day more. Don't do it, Woodsy. She did it to me? I know, but not on purpose. She found the movie boring and fell asleep. It was boring. And the entire time, you were poking me. You sleeping? What are you doing? Why is your hood on? Get up. I'm going to do it to you. I'm not sitting by you anymore.
Did you guys hear that there has been an announcement made for Twilight fans? Oh, yeah. It's the Dracula movie. No. Okay, now it's really not that big of an announcement, but to the Twihards, this is huge. You mean Twihards like the ones sitting across from me right now? I am a Twihard. Really? I didn't know about the term until six seconds ago, but yes, I am. You're a dork for liking cargo shorts. It's got Twilight on her nightstand. I love Edward. It's my trapper keeper. Team Edward. So, you know, for you guys that don't know, there was Twilight number one. Then there was New Moon, the second movie that came out. Now, the third one that's going to be coming out is called what, Lauren? New Nerd. Welcome to reality. Eclipse? Yes. The third one coming out is called Eclipse. Now, New Moon, the second movie, comes out on DVD March 20th. It hits Walmart stores. Now, if you buy the Twilight Saga New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition DVD, then you get to see a seven-minute clip.
Clip from Eclipse. That was hard to say. Clip from Eclipse. So you get to see into Eclipse, and Twihards are freaking out because all they want to see is a preview, and they're going to get to see seven minutes. My wife loves it. I haven't even seen New Moon yet. Every housewife loves it, right? A vampire's going to come and take me away. He's so amazing. He doesn't even want to make love. He just wants to love me. He just wants to love me. The thing is, and I never saw New Moon, but what I liked about Edward, because I'm... definitely Auntie Medward, is that he's, like, just, like, this protector. Like, whenever there's a problem, he's there. He takes care of it, and that's all we want. It's like, ah. He's very milky white, too. He's a vampire. So are you. What's your excuse? Oh, there's the woman I'm sexually attracted to. Did she just call me a vampire? No, I said you're white. What's your excuse? You're not a vampire. I'm tan now. I got some color yesterday. I'm the whitest one. I can't talk. Yeah, who are you talking to, you little Irish lass? I know. Top of the morning, Sienna. Top of the morning. Hey, did you guys hear about the lead singer of the Knack passed away? When did he die? I think it was over the weekend. Was it over the weekend? You guys know the Knack, right? Yep. My Sharona. My Sharona. What else did they do? Anything? I think they did My Sharona eight times. But anyway, the lead singer passed away. And it's really sad. I don't know when it happened. You don't either, right? No.
I don't even know what the knack was. I've literally never heard of any of these other songs. I don't know that they did any of them. Dead at 57 years old. Sienna, what year were you born? I was born in 1985. This was a hit in 1979. Am I sure enough? Yeah. Mike, do you know this was the first song to bump a disco track from number one? Really? Yeah. Kind of ended the era. Thank God. Wasn't she his real estate agent? This is what I wrote the song about. Oh, really? I didn't know. Jay was alive in high school. Jay was on the Sunset Strip. What's my Sharona? That's his girl. His girl Sharona. I used to think it was mice. Yeah. My Sharona. My Corona. My Corona. Let's see here. So, told you about this deal that's all over the news today. Getting a lot of texts about the cargo shorts. Of course. Weird. Here's what some of them say. Mikey, 27, been married three years. Threw all my husband's cargo shorts when we got married except for one pair to wear when he works on his car. Nice. Lauren and Sienna know what they're talking about. Love the new show. M1, let your woman shop for you. Thank you. Be your own man. Mikey, welcome back. I get my shorts at a store in Chula Vista, and they are, he says, wait for it, Dickie's cargo shorts. Nice. Oh.
I'm 41, and I'm the coolest guy I know. Love the new show. M1 Patriot Dad. That a boy. Here you go. Oh, this is a text about We Are The World. Mikey, they officially destroyed a wonderful song. I don't care if it's for a good cause. That version was awful. M136. I'm with you. What was so awful about it? Well, besides the guy in the back going, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That dude, and then the auto-tune, and then the... The little dude singing in a really high voice to kick it off. No way, he was good. Justin Bieber. He sings like one time. Listen to the 20-minute intro. I swear that's like the 86 Olympics theme or something. It could be. Or 88. I just think that you don't like it because it's different. No. Maybe if Scott Weiland and Eddie Vedder did it, I'd be on board. There is a choice maker. That's a boy? Yes, it's like.
Lauren pointed it out good. When we first heard it, it sounds like Michael Jackson when he was little, kind of. It does. That's Celine behind him. Speaking of Michael Jackson, my wife and I at the hotel this weekend watched This Is It. Was it good? This is it. That was great. It wasn't what I expected, though. You don't know what to expect. I never saw it, but it's like, what exactly is it about? It's about two hours, but... Every time, right? Every time. It's a documentary. It has no narrative. And all it is is a documentary of what the concert would have been if they'd put it on in London. Oh. And so it's basically a concert. It's kind of weird. Pieced together through rehearsal footage. Oh, really? So it's his last footage, like, days before? Yeah. Yeah, like weeks before. I'd like to see that. Now.
You say whatever you want about it because Woodsy's, you know, like, oh, he's a pedophile, blah, blah, blah. And people can say that. I mean, people and some people believe it. I actually I'm not sure. Like Rebecca said to me during it, she goes, pause it. So I pause it. She goes, you think he messed with little kids? Hundred. And I go, I go, I don't know. I go, what if it turned out he didn't? That would stink. But I think he did. I don't know what I think. I don't know. I mean, it looks like he did. Right. I mean, yes, for sure. Yes. I mean, based on everything. No. What about his kids? I mean, well, listen. Well, I'll say this. At the very, very least, he's guilty of extraordinarily poor judgment. Yes. Well, that's absolutely. You can't question that. At the very least. Okay, so that's a whole other topic. But I will say this. Like, the guy was really talented. Sure. My goodness. I mean, he was 50 years old and he still moved around like he was, you know, 20. Just imagine. I try to put myself in his position, and it's just like, imagine your entire life. Since you were a little kid, for as long as you can remember, everywhere you go, people hounding you, pictures of you, Michael, Michael, Michael. I mean, that would drive you nuts. I mean, I can relate a little bit. It's part of it. It's just something you deal with. See what's happening here. It just goes with the job. It's called Cadillac Problems.
Oh, wow. That's right. I had Cadillac problems. But he was an icon when he was, like, ten. No, when he was six. Mm-hmm. That's got to mess with people. Sure. That's what they always say, that his childhood got snatched from him, and that's why he was a big, fun kid and liked to have little sleepovers with little boys. Hey, guys, it's me, Michael Jackson. Hey, Michael. It didn't affect me at all. Why? Because in my pocket right now, my best friend Jeepers is a caterpillar. How long have you guys known each other? 17 and a half years. That's your best friend. Jeepers? In the world. My best friend in the world. And the reason it had never affected me is because Jeepers and I would talk it through. Whenever there was a problem, I would say, hey, Jeepers, I'm starting to get a little weirded out by all the attention. And Jeepers would slap me. Jeepers. How did the caterpillar slap you? He's got 100 feet. He had to do it. 117 times the little hands. But he would slap me like in the movie The Godfather and he would shake me and say, you can act like a man. And that would always bring me out of it. Jeepers had a way of doing that. Either he would do that or he would say, pull these 17 fingers. And then he would. There you go. And that would make me laugh because Jeepers would, I'd pull Jeepers finger.
Did y'all just notice that a stranger walked into the room? A stranger just walked in. I'm just saying. What's stranger? The fact that I'm telling you about my best friend in Caterpillar Jeepers or the fact that a stranger just walked into the studio? I think they're both a little weird. They both make me want to have on a flak jacket. I don't know what that is. Flak jacket? Flak jacket? What is that? You never heard of that? What's the matter with you? Flak jacket. It's what people wear so you don't get if there's shots fired. It's like a bulletproof vest. Hang on a second. Every once in a while I have to do that just to get it out. You've got to get it out of your system every now and then. It's a gun. That was actually a sneeze. Hang on. It's a gun. It's a gun. It's a gun. It's a gun. It's a gun. It's a gun. It's a gun. It's a gun. It's a gun.
Thank you. See you later. Later, brother. He just walked right in. Scared me to death. He looked just like the kid from the awful movie Woods took us to. Yeah, I know. Michael Cera just walked in. Four feet taller than him, though. It's true. It was Michael Cera. Let's see. I also got a massage and facial this weekend. Facial? I got a facial, too. Wow. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Huh? You ever got one of those? No. Was yours painful? Mine was really painful. The extraction? That is so bad. What are you guys talking about? They do extractions where they pull out of your pores and I had tears running down my face. Sounds amazing. Had a heavy hand. What? The person that you worked with had a heavy hand. Sounds amazing. Sorry, I know facial lingo. Yeah, seriously. I don't even know what that is. It means that they were too heavy. I mean, it was like she was going so fast. I was like, take it easy. So did you leave your...
You left your peace at home then when you went with your wife and got your facial and your massage, I guess. So let me tell you. Facials, you would really like it if you got it, actually. This is the guy with 100 products, but I won't get a facial. I don't like the facial. Why? It hurts and I break out. Tell them not to do the extraction. So I go out into the lobby after I do this, and Rebecca's out there. We're both in our robes. Good Lord. Weird. Oh, my God. I love this already. So we go and meet up. And I said, hey, babe. I go, the lady that did my facial, she thought that I was 31. And Rebecca goes. And she goes, you guys are so right on the air when you said that men will believe anything. Yeah, they work for tips, Mike. And I go, babe, what do you, what? How do you know? Maybe I do look 30. And she goes, babe.
Can you just please with the 31 already? Wow. And so then I go, we went the next day. As a surprise, I said, tomorrow, same thing. So we do it then again. You did a facial? Double facial? Two days in a row. Why? Oh, my God, why? Because it feels good. It doesn't. No, no, no. If you don't have them do that. You didn't do the extraction? I did, but my face is so pure. Oh, get out. So the second lady said I look 32. Unbelievable. They tell me I look 45. So I have a story to tell you about. And some M1s already know this story. But it's one of the most humiliating things that ever happened to me in my life. Can't wait. Two of the most humiliating things. Three humiliating things have happened to me in my life. Only three? Well, that are humiliating to a level of like really humiliating. I've had hundreds of humiliating things happen. But these are two out of the top three. This is coming with a massage, isn't it? Both have to do with massage. Yikes. The first one was I went by myself to Hawaii when I lived in Dallas. That is humiliating. Well, yeah. I had no girlfriend. Rebecca just broke up with me. Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Forgetting Rebecca. Yeah. She broke up with me. I go to Maui.
Okay, this is when your friend Mike still used to have alcoholic beverages. Oh, so you just went on a bender, but you just wanted to do it in a nice place. I wanted to do it with palm trees. Classy. Keep it classy. Because I'm classy. So I go and I decide that I'm going to get a massage. So I called down to the place to make the appointment. And you asked if they did happy endings. Absolutely. You didn't do that? No, I didn't, Lauren. I did not. But they asked me, would you prefer a male or a female masseuse? Oh, God. Awkward. Yeah. And I am immediately stricken with terror because I'm an overweight man. Okay? And at the time, I was pretty overweight. You know, unlike now where I look emaciated. Now you look at me and you're like, oh, my gosh, Fiona Apple. Kate Moss. Yeah, Kate Moss is sitting in front of me.
Doing a radio show. She shaved her head with a goatee and she shaved her head. So I think to myself, there is no way I'm going to take my shirt off in front of a woman. I will be it'll be miserable if I'm laying on this table with a woman and I'm fat. And no. So I go, a guy, 100 percent. Really? Oh, there's no way I'm humiliated. Right. There's no way I'm going to let a woman see me. laying down with no clothes on. Like, I might as well not do it. I would have called an audible and bailed, dude. I just would have bailed the whole thing. So I'm in the lobby in my robe. Sweating. Sweating. And this big, like, six foot four. I'll never forget this man. He was my first. Six foot four. He was your first. First massage ever. Six foot four, red-headed guy, red eyebrows, red eyelashes, freckles. Oh, God. Walks out, okay? And you can tell that when he sees me and he's looking down at me, you know, because I'm five foot six, he's looking, he's like, I'm not kidding, he's six foot four. He's looking at me and you can tell he's confused because he didn't expect to walk out and call a guy. And as soon as he does, I realize, oh, no. Oh, no.
Right? Because I can see in his face what he's thinking. Right. I'm about to give a massage to a homosexual. So he walks out, and he looks at me, kind of confused, right? And he goes, hey, Mike? And I go, uh-huh. He goes, this is your first time getting a massage? Yeah. Stop. He goes, all right. Well, welcome. You know, my name is Craig, and I'm going to be your masseuse today. And this is my heart. I'm like, I can't believe this. What did I do? What did I do? And I wanted so badly to just say, not that there's anything wrong. I'm not gay. I just want you to know, Craig, I'm not gay. I just want to massage. I didn't know, Craig, what to say when the lady asked me. I didn't know what to say, Craig. Craig! Is it like you pick a woman?
If you pick a woman, besides like your issues with your body. My body. You kind of feel like a creep. I can see you being like, you feel like a creep for picking a woman. They're like, oh, you creepy perv. So we go back into the room. In sweatpants. We go back into the room. As you're walking back there, you're like, there's some really hot girls on the island. Yeah. Yeah. You see all the girls out by the beach? So, bro, you must get a lot of action doing this, huh? So we get back into the candlelit room. Where Yanni's playing. Okay. And he does it. Well, I'm going to leave the room and go ahead and lay face down there on the table. I'm going to leave the room and take off your robe. And when I come back in, we'll begin. What do you have on underneath? Nothing. Nude. You go naked. You do it nude. No way. Some people wear underwear. Okay, so he leaves, right? And I'm standing in this room and I'm like.
I feel like a perverted weirdo. I'm like, what do I do in here? What do I do? Just lie down. I'm like, okay, so take the robe off, get face down in the donut, right? Covered, covered. I got the, you know, you got the thing over you. He comes in. He comes in. And as soon as he put his hands on my calf, my butt clenched up. I clenched up, and I was like, and in my head I went, this is the worst decision I've ever made in my life. And it was an hour. It might as well have been at Guantanamo. Was he like, just relax, Mike? No. Did he talk you through it? No. Oh, horrific. I've never got. It had to be worse for him. Oh, I've never got a male masseuse. Ever, ever. Because you could have at least closed your eyes and been like, this isn't happening. But he had to actually do all the work. You know, he probably, they're used to it. But I was like, as soon as he, with those big red-headed man hands, with the big Abe Vigoda hot dog-sized fingers, touched my calf and squeezed me, I went, ah! Like, oh! Oh, my God. That isn't even close to the next story. No!
It didn't even close. Doesn't even touch it. That. So the next one is my wife and I at La Costa Spa. I'm going to get a massage. Love that place. And I'm obese at the time. Stop. I'm sorry. I'm just being honest. At the time, I was morbidly obese. You were done. And we go, okay? And I put on the robe. And I'm like trying to close the robe. Like the robe is so small. Oh, no. Right. Is this going to go where I think it's already going? The robe is so small. Oh, no. Oh, no. And so I get the robe like barely on. And this is a robe that for most people would wrap around them like a blanket. A kimono. A kimono. But with me, the robe barely.
You should have grabbed two robes, put one in front, one in back. That's seriously like a hospital down. Yeah. So I get the thing on and I, you know, and I, and, and like the thing that goes around your waist that you tie barely, you know, like it barely is able to loop for me to, you know, and then I put on my little flip flops. And you're nude again. Nude. Okay. So I go out. So I go out into the lobby. Where it's men and women are all in the lobby in their white robes. Is Rebecca in the lobby? Not yet. Okay. So I go out and I'm sitting down and I'm so self-conscious. And I keep covering like my chest, you know. I keep like pulling the robe to get the robe closed, you know. And I'm reading my little magazine. And there's these women sitting across from me, which is making me so uncomfortable because there's women sitting across from me. And there's just women everywhere. And I'm like, oh, where's my wife? So finally, Rebecca comes out and she sits down directly across from me. Oh, geez. And I look at her and she's got this look on her face. And she goes with her finger. She goes and she points down. Oh, no. My testicles are fully.
Wait. Fully exposed. No way. Fully exposed. I'm fully exposed. And I go, I'm not kidding you. This is not an exaggeration. This is what I did. I went, oh! Not cool at all. I go, oh! And now everybody's like turning to what's going on. Oh, no. And Rebecca is red. And she's like, oh, my gosh. Like, oh, my gosh. Way to play it off. I couldn't even not play it off. Oh, gosh. Yeah. So why do you continue to put yourself through this? I'm speechless. I lost weight. Now the room fits perfectly. Well, for a guy, you're always like, you're like self-conscious about your body. Go to the mountains. Don't go to the beach, dude. But the massages are so nice. Go to Europe where you can walk around, you know. You're always like, we're going to go to Maui. I'm like. No, no, no more beach. I know he did. Go to Europe, dude. For our honeymoon, we're going to the snow. And Mikey's like, no, no, no, beach every time. That's the only way. I'm telling you. Get your backpack and go to London. It's gray. It's cool. You wear a sweater. It was the most humiliating. Oh, that's got to be. Humiliating thing ever. M1, Debbie is on the line. Debbie, are you there?
I'm here. Go ahead. You're on the air. Hey, I just want you guys to know I used to own a spa. I'm actually an esthetician. So we don't mean to torture you, but sometimes it happens. And we prefer people naked with meat on their bones. Why? Thank you. I really appreciate it. I'm glad I can help. Listen, it's so true. You get a lady or a man. That's 80 pounds. All you're rubbing is bones. Oh, gross. Not fats. I know that sounds gross, but you need some meat on your bones to actually feel everything and for it to be hurt. It's like putting barbecue sauce on baby bags. Seriously. No, no, no, no. Lauren almost threw up. Oh, Lauren almost threw up. That makes sense, though. Really, you just think about rubbing somebody with absolutely no meat or muscle. Yeah. rubbing a chicken leg, you know? You're like, oh, this is fun. I'm going to break them. It's not sexual at all. It's all about trying to make the person feel good. You have to be a nurturer to be in this business. I could do it. And you want them to feel good. And nobody cares what you look like. I mean, unless you're really filthy. Sure they don't. Are you telling me you never massaged a guy that you were like, dang, this guy is smoking?
Yeah, that's exactly what they were thinking this weekend when they were massaging me. I just get so nervous that something's going to happen that I don't want to happen. For a guy, yeah. It would be worse if it was a dude doing it. And it happened? You lose yourself. How could that happen? How do you lose yourself? Yanni's in the background. You got candles going. He's rubbing your legs. He gets really comfortable. You get real comfortable? Sorry, dude. I don't get it. Yeah, as far as... When the redhead was... No. That's why I've never gone. I've never gotten a massage. It's somebody that it always happens to every single time. I think that's normal, though. I think it just happens. Oh, really? Yeah. Didn't happen to me. Allegedly. No, that hasn't. I mean, dude, I would tell you. So a girl massaged you this last weekend? It's always a girl. I've never, I will never, ever get a guy again. Not since Craig. Not since Craig. She's a really good looking girl and she's doing a really good job and you get very comfortable. 100% I would. 100%. I think so too. Woods is 13 years old. I'd be like Michael Cera laying on his side when he's on the beach. Thank you. Toyota.

So, Dick Cheney and Vice President Biden, they had a little...
There's a little tiff going on. A little tiff. A while back, Dick Cheney said that the Obama administration is failing to treat the battle against terrorism as war. And Joe Biden did not like that and has just gone off on Dick Cheney. Basically, he's like, I don't know where Dick Cheney has been. I don't know what he's talking about. Well, let's hear the comments first. It's crazy. First, the comments from Dick Cheney. Okay. Here we go. That's good stuff. That's amazing. It's compelling. It's rich. Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised by my friend Joe Biden. I'm glad he now believes Iraq is a success. Of course, Obama and Biden campaigned from one end of the country to the other for two years criticizing our Iraq policy. They opposed the surge that was absolutely crucial to getting to the point we're at now with respect to Iraq.
For them to try to take credit for what's happened in Iraq strikes me as a little strange. I think if they had had... Anybody have a problem with that? So Dick Cheney shot him in the face after that. Dick Cheney is like evil. He's like what represents evil. But you hear what he said. He didn't say anything that isn't true. I think he said, oh, Biden on purpose. He said, oh, Biden. I think he said that on purpose. Oh, Biden and Obama. A little bit funny. Their way, if we'd followed the policies, they'd... pursued from the outset or advocated from the outset. He says his voice is like evil. It's a cough syrup. Listen, wait till you hear Biden. They're both clowns. That's why they were the vice president. It's annoying. Saddam Hussein would still be in Baghdad today. Hey, in fairness to Woods, I'm looking at the video. He's got a big red nose and floppy shoes. lapel of a flower. And he's juggling on a unicycle. He's juggling on a unicycle. He's a clown. Can't really say much about Woods of Sand because the guy's dressed as a clown. If they're going to take credit for it, fair enough for what they've done while they're there, but it ought to go with a healthy dose of thank you George Bush up front and a recognition that... Sorry, dude. They were the ones that did the surge. Surge hadn't happened.
War wouldn't have turned around the way that it did. Are they in the same room together? No, it's two different interviews. Biden responds to it. Here's Biden's response. I'm not going to guess about his motive. All I know is he's factually, substantively wrong. No, wait, wait, wait, Joe. You did oppose the surge. And the surge turned things around. What are you talking about? He's factually wrong. On the major criticisms he is asserting. Why he's insisting on that, he either is misinformed or he is misinforming. But the facts are that his assertions are not accurate. It's one thing to be outspoken. It's another thing to be outspoken in a way that misrepresents the facts. And I just again, I it's almost I'm waiting for him to say we were for the surge.
Like Dick is trying to rewrite history. I can understand why that would be an impulse. And maybe he isn't, literally, I'm not being facetious, maybe he's not fully informed of what's going on. Joe, you're not saying it, though. You're not saying that, because Joe, you weren't for the surge, bro. But if he wasn't for it, was he so... They were opposed to it. Openly opposed to it. Yeah, they said don't send more. Don't send more. And I said, last year during the campaign, I said, listen, how are you going to bring people home and have this thing work out? And by the way, everybody wants them to come home. Everybody. You're a normal human being. You want them to come home. But during the whole thing, McCain was going, we shouldn't send anybody. We need to send more troops out there. That's what McCain was saying. And Obama said, I'm going to bring home all the guys within 90 days of me becoming president. And then he got in there and went, oh, I shouldn't have said that. I just realized everyone out there, more people out there. Not only can I not bring them home, I got to send 30,000 more, I think. Now that I've gotten in here and freaking out what the deal is. But he's the Chinese. Listen, you're right. They both sound like clowns. Yeah, they do. It's very it's that's the problem, I think, with the whole presidency thing is that.
Because everybody takes credit for when credit's not due. And it's always like, well, Bush had to clean up Clinton's mess. But Clinton's had the economy was on track when Clinton was here. But that's a result from what Reagan, you know what I mean? Everybody does that. It's like a chain reaction. It just gets so annoying. My brother said that the other day. My brother's a big Obama supporter. He says, well, you realize that he's having to clean up after Bush. I said, yeah, right. And Bush had to clean up after Clinton. Who had to clean up after Reagan. It just goes back and back and back and back. 8,000 more vehicles. What kind, Sienna? The trucks, the Tacoma trucks. 8,000 Tacoma trucks because they're citing potential production defects in the front drive shaft of certain 2010 models. Really? Uh-huh. They're saying the cracks could lead up to the separation of the drive shaft at the joint portion. So they're saying, you know, if you have one of these cars, bring it in and we're going to replace this at no cost. But it's just like really 8,000 more cars, a brand new model. Wow. You know, like what's going on? What's going on? Scary to drive. Woodsy, what's the craziest thing you've ever seen? I can't talk about it on the air. You cannot? Zero percent. Is that how bad it is? Craziest thing you've ever seen? 570-1949. I really can't.
When Eddie and I lived in Rochester, we saw a guy downstairs as we were walking up. So there's a guy laying down there and there was something wrong with him. You know, the paramedics were there. We didn't know what was wrong with him. They put him in an ambulance, take him away. Our next door neighbor comes out into the hallway. She goes, my husband works at the house. Wow. I go, really? I go, how do you know? She goes, he just called. So they didn't even know it yet. The people on the way to the hospital, they're waiting there. They didn't even know. Happened right in front of us. Craziest thing I've ever seen. I saw a guy have a heart attack in a restaurant. That was pretty crazy. You did? Yeah, in Arizona. He looked and fell out of his chair. I've seen that too. It was crazy. Never seen that. Yeah, I saw it when I was working. I was waiting on the table. Oh, wow. I just thought of one. And it was when I was younger. I want to say about 10 years old. I was sitting in our living room. And the way my house is, is it's a big U with a patio in the middle. Yeah. And we have a gate that connects the U. Yeah.
And the door to our gate was open, and some guy came running in the patio, stood there, and I saw this random guy run in and then just run out. Wow. And about five minutes later, there was helicopters all above our neighborhood. Oh, dude. Yeah, it was a little girl. I was like, ah! And I was like, I mean, I don't know if it was him or not, but there was someone they were looking for, and I saw some guy running about it. 100% it was. Wow. 570-1949. Lauren, you see anything weird? I saw a guy throw a can into a trash can. It wasn't even recycled. I was blown away. I had to ask her the other day what to throw my can in on the sidebar. You didn't know which can I needed to put my stuff in. He was trying to put styrofoam in there, too. I don't know. Did he recycle that? I saw a guy throw a root vegetable into a compost. I was like, it's blown away. I saw a zebra on Dog Beach in Del Mar. Wow. You saw a zebra on Dog Beach? Was it one of those donkeys painted as a zebra? No, it was like a zebra and the owner was... Or are you realizing right now that it was actually a horse painted as a zebra? It was actually me and Sienna walking in with strange outfits. We're matching black and white stripes. No, it was a zebra. Really? His owner had him on a rope, which happened to be a black and white. Woods is opening some kind of a wrapper. Really, I couldn't tell.
Those are nutty bars? Yeah. Those are the best. What is it? Try it. What is it? Try it. You have to eat it in layers. No, I don't want it. Give him the pizza you didn't have to bite off of. Respectfully. Try it. Those are the best. He just bit off of it. That's the new one. Oh, those are nutty bars? It's like chocolate peanut butter wafer? I don't like germs. I didn't even know they still make those. Anyway. You can eat it. I'm about to see something crazy right now. Don't just stare at it, dude. Eat it. Mikey, stop being a little girl. Have one bite. Have you had a Nutty Bar, Lauren? No. You have to try it, too. Michael, one bite. Eat it in layers. One bite. It's so good. It's so good. Why don't you eat it? I would gladly eat it. That was a little baby bite. It's heavenly. They're the best. I can't believe you just pulled it. I thought they stopped making those when I was in elementary school. That's the craziest thing I've ever seen. You don't like it? It's delicious. It's the best. Did you see how excited when I found out what the rapping noise was? I was like... What? No, you ate off that one. M1 Dash. Hey, so last week, about actually eight days ago, I don't know if it's the craziest, but I was driving from San Clemente to Del Mar, and at first a car, a big giant Ford Ranger, swerves and nearly takes out my front, and my girlfriend's in a separate car ahead of me, nearly swerves into her in a separate lane, and then...
So I'm like, okay, I'm going to write down this license plate number. Totally wasted driver. And of all times, the one time in the past, like, four years, my phone's dead. And so I can't, like, call it in or anything. But this car goes on to hit one car, lead it off to a rest stop. And the moment that car pulls in a rest stop, this car takes off. No. Takes off and slams into one more car. Like, that window's flying off the side. And I'm behind this whole thing because I'm infuriated, and I'm, like, pursuing it, honestly speeding. And it was, like, it was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen on the road. I've never seen crazy stuff like that on the road. That's crazy. Although, I was talking to Jay on the phone about two weeks ago, and there was a crash right next to me. The guy must have been texting and went, wham, right up into the back of the dude in front of him. That scared me. You were like, whoa! Give me my nutty bar back. If you don't want it. Give me a piece first. I'd like to share something else, but I'm afraid I'm going to get shown up by a chocolate chip cookie or something like that. I got a crazy thing I saw. Did you see how checked out Lauren became? I don't like to be trumped by sweets on the air. It's not organic peanut butter. It's so good. I was in the middle of a story. She was in the middle of a story. Talking about zebras. Yes. Wait a minute. M1 Scooby, hold on, okay? Yeah.
Hold on a second. Jay. Yeah. Craziest thing you've ever seen. So back when I was in Houston, I was sitting out at this outside little restaurant and this car pulls up and another car pulls up, kind of stops in front of her. And this guy gets out, walks over to the car, her side door, and he walks around to her door. He pulls out a gun and puts it in and kind of opens the door a little bit. And she freaks out and slams the door and he shoots her. Oh, my God. What? So I see this all going on, so I stand up real quick, and I walk over, and I'm processing it as I'm walking over there. I was like, what am I seeing? Right. The guy that's driving the car that blocked her honks a horn, letting the other guy know that, hey, this guy's paying attention to what's going on here. So the guy full-on kind of puts the gun up where I can see it and then folds his arm underneath his trench coat and walks back and gets in the car. Just give me the stare down the hallway. So they... They peel off. I go over there to the car, and she's in the car. Pat Benatar's playing on the stereo. She's got a cigarette. She's just gone. Her eyes are just dying. Do you remember, like, the song playing? Hit me with your best shot. Wow. It just encapsulated a whole moment. And I'm looking around for a bullet hole. I'm still not really processing what I am. Oh, my goodness. So I get her out of the car. She full-on dies in my head. Oh, my gosh. I'd say you win.
That is the craziest thing I've ever heard. Nobody back revives her, but ultimately she dies. Gosh. I had to sit on a jury for, or not a jury. I was a witness for two years on this thing. It was insane. Where's that clown now? Did they put him away? Oh, they put him away, finally. There was like five people that saw what went on, but by the time the system actually finally worked, I was the only witness who could identify him. Did you have to sit in front of him and, like, point him out kind of thing? Oh, it was insane, you know, how many times I went down there. But I sat in there, and they said, okay, we'll keep it real vague and everything. And then they fall on, yes, Mr. Isbel, is it true you live at this house at this time? You walk out to your car? Scary. Are you serious? And the whole family's sitting there, you know, going, oh, I'm such a dead man. But you did it. I did it, yeah, I did it. Oh. Well, what choice do you have? I guess you have no choice. That was somebody's daughter. Yeah, man. You've got to do it. My Lord, man. That is awful. You've got to do it. Crazy. That's crazy. I saw a guy get thrown through a Jack in the Box window from a guy dressed as Santa Claus. Are you for real? Yeah, I was in eighth grade with my mom picking up some Jack in the Box to bring home for dinner. And there was like a group of guys dressed as Santa Claus that just walked in and jumped this guy and threw him through the window at Jack in the Box and then just bolted. And the police came and were questioning everyone. And I was like, oh my gosh.
You guys have seen crazy stuff. Mikey saw me flick a cigarette butt and hit a cop in the head with it, I think. I did. A million times. I said, Woodsy, don't. Because he was out on the balcony smoking cigarettes all night, flicking it. So we were like, hey, dude, don't flick your butts over the side of the... Oh, yeah, sorry, dude. We're like, there's a coffee can that they put down there for you to put your butts in. Yeah, no problem. Do you know how many people would get mad or furious as you're saying this? I know. This was back in Dallas. It was really bad. It wasn't in California. Everybody settled down. So five minutes later, Flick, he hits a cop in the head. Oh, my gosh. And so exactly 90 seconds later. It was more like, bam, bam, bam, bam. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Dummy. And Woods, I'm so sorry about that. Didn't even realize. What did he say? He was furious. He was not pleased. Furious. Not a happy guy. Oh, man. It's okay. Didn't realize there was a cop down there. What do you want from me? Go get a cat out of a tree, pal. Stop, firefighter. He has a right to be mad. I would be furious. Could you imagine if someone flicked a cigarette and it landed on you? Don't be sniffing around our party. Don't be sniffing around.
Oh, my gosh. That's your boy. Go worry about some other more important things than a kegger. Okay, pal? M1 Sanjaya. Yo, what's up, man? What's up? What's the craziest thing you've ever seen? Hey, dude, this happened like probably about two months ago. I can't stop talking about it. But down in my neighborhood in Little Vietnam, there was a pit bull attacking a chihuahua. And I've never seen that. And it had it in the back of its neck. It had it, and it was like tossing it around. Five old ladies trying to freaking, you know, knock the pit bull out, and it would not let go. And freaking, so I got out of my car, grabbed the dog by its tail, grabbed his balls, squeezed him as hard as I could, and then dropped the chihuahua. Wow. Did the chihuahua die? No, actually, I spoke with a neighbor, like, Saturday night, and they told me the dog was still alive. Oh. Dude, that is a... You saved a chihuahua. I know, man. That's, like, a pretty brave move. Yeah, man. I don't know. I just jumped out. I was going to take a picture from my car because I was like, wow, that's crazy. And I was going to take a picture. I'm glad you decided to do something. Yeah. I just jumped out and just freaking did what I did. I wouldn't have done that. I wouldn't have thought, oh, I know what I'll do. I'll get the testicles here. I would get something to hit it with. Make it real, Matt. They're hitting it with metal pipes and everything would not let go.
I just, I don't know, for some reason. You're like, I know what to go for. Right. Yeah. I squeezed him hard, too. Thank you, Sanjaya. I squeezed him hard, too. M1 Scooby. Yo, what's going on? What'd you see? This was back in 2004, March 12th. I was on a... 3.15 p.m. Yeah. Actually, it was 8 o'clock in the morning. Oh, there you go. Sorry. I was in a bus accident. You were in a bus wreck? Yeah. The bus I was riding was hit head on by a... Semi-truck. What? Now, for those of you that are new, listening to The Mikey Show, M1 Scooby is a long-time listener of The Mikey Show. And he does talk very quietly. I like it. But, yeah, it was when I was in the Navy. And there were four school buses, all painted blue. And I was on the third bus. And two of the other buses were well ahead of us. tribute to the ship I was on, the namesake of the ship. Anybody get hurt on there? Yeah, three of my friends died. Oh, and the actual bus? Yeah. Oh, dude. Oh, wow. That is gnarly. The truck driver of the truck, he passed away. Oof. Yeah, it was pretty, it was like a bomb loaded across the bus. I bet. And two of my friends that had died really quick, they died because they had swerved to miss us and landed in a ditch, and my friends had gotten...
from the bus and landed on them. Whoa. Yeah, because you don't have seatbelts. No, not on the bus. Haven't you guys always wondered that? Yeah. Why do they not? You ever see the video of the kid when they hit that thing and the kids shoot up and they all hit their heads on the... Yeah. Oh, it just scares me to death. Yeah, you're like, how do they not have seatbelts on a bus? On a school bus. Some of them do now. They do? Some of them, yeah. I'm telling you, man, I want those roll bars that they have when you get into the things at the amusement parks. I want the things that come down over your head. Somebody will be driving my kids to school. Seriously, man. I'm not putting on the bus. That's scary. Some meth head driving. You know what I mean? I mean, you never know. You never know. You hear it all the time. 570-1949. Seatbelt save lives. That's right, Lauren. Thank you. So does recycling. Lauren is... Oh, I'm serious. Seatbelt saved my life. Of course they did. They've saved my life before. I was in a really bad accident, right? Didn't know that. On the 8 freeway. Really? Some girl was texting. Whoa. She, no, I'm sorry. She wasn't text. It was kind of like before text got big. She was on her phone and she didn't see me in her blind spot and just right into my lane. I shot over and hit the concrete median and then went back the other way. You guys have been on the eight freeway. Yeah. Yeah. Nine lane freeway. Yeah. I went across like five lanes and then another car hit me from behind. Did you sustain any injury?
Yeah, I mean, nothing too serious. Seatbelt saved your life. It saved my life, and if any other person had been in the car, done. Really? Yeah, I had this little, like, window of protection around me. I had, like, glass chunks in my hair for days because I couldn't. move for like five days afterwards so like even on the fifth day i was still like glass was falling out of my pony oh i listen i tell my brother all the time my brother doesn't like to wear his seatbelt which i think is the dumbest thing in the world my dad too and i so i tell him all the time my brother goes this is my i got him i finally got him i changed his logic now last time i was we were in big bear now he puts his seatbelt on so i made a point of saying you put your seatbelt on now good for you never wore a seatbelt his logic to me Used to always be, when it's my time to go, it's my time to go. That was what his logic used to be. He used to say, hey, listen, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. And I said, what if it's meant to be that you're in a wheelchair? I said, because you're controlling that destiny. You're controlling the fact that maybe what's meant to be is you being paralyzed because of you not wanting to put on a seatbelt. Changed his logic.
My car, I have one of those, like, new Volvos, and it's one of the safest cars. It has eight airbags, and it has, if you're sitting in the car and you don't have your seatbelt on, it will make an annoying ding, ding, ding, until you put the seatbelt on. And Todd Hayes wearing the seatbelt. He never wears it, but when he's in my car, he gets so annoyed at the noise, he puts the seatbelt on. I can't even imagine not wearing a seatbelt. I have friends that will actually buckle the seatbelt and then sit on top of it because they hate wearing the seatbelt and because of the noise. I'm like, dude, just put the seatbelt on. Dude, you're dumb. Yeah, dude, you're dumb. Put the seatbelt on. Oh, I can't imagine not wearing it. I feel creepy like I'm going to get hurt just from not wearing it. I'm psycho about wearing it now. Some older people, because seatbelts came around in, what, the 70s or something, they're just used to not having that. Hey, look, I like them, okay? Back off. No, I like them. You gotta wear the seatbelt. You gotta. I noticed actually yesterday my mom was driving me and I was in her car and I'm always really good about putting the seatbelt on, but I didn't put it on and I actually thought to myself, I'm not wearing the seatbelt right now. Feels weird. And I think it was because my mom was driving and I like felt safe that my mom was driving or something weird. But it was weird. I got five foods that you think that are bad for you, actually good for you. Yes. Can't wait.

Guy's got some demons, though.
He's got some, yeah. He's got a couple things. Got some issues. Yes. Scott and I have never seen Eye to Eye. Literally. All right. You know what? Lauren's always in on a good life short joke. You can always count on Lauren to be in on that. She loves that bit. She loves that bit. Sorry. Not really. Not really. Apple crates. Shut up. What was that from? We were taking pictures. Hey, can we get some apple crates? Get Mikey up at eye level with everybody else. Lauren goes, what's an apple crates? It's so fitting, though. Yeah, how about just some Gene Simmons shoes? You have some. Why don't you get the guy some high heels? Those suede nurses orthopedic shoes that you wore last week.
Suede orthopedics. They were nothing like that. We're going to put those on the website now since Sienna wants to disagree with everything I say. We're going to put those on the website. Bring your orthopedic shoes in tomorrow. Orthopedic shoes are like the little white leather shoes. Yeah, these are black suede orthopedic shoes with nine inch soles. No, they have a huge sole, but because they have a huge sole, it doesn't make them orthopedic. And Rebecca hates them, too. She hates them. Rebecca, just throw them away. Do us all a favor. Put them out by the garbage. They're not that bad. They're not. They're very Mike. You're the ones that's saying, you know, wear what you like. That's right. You're not going to have anything left in your wardrobe, Mikey. What are you talking about, boots? Yeah. My Kenneth Cole boots. What's wrong with those? That I got in Milan. These are Taryn Rose from Italy.
And a Yankee hat that he wears every day that looks like it's 45 years old. I get up at 3 o'clock in the morning. I'm not going to do my hair. Five foods that are considered bad, but they're actually good for you. Can you guess any? Big Macs. Yeah. No, this is like something that most people, all people love. Fat. Ice cream. Ice cream, number one. It's good for you. It's good for you. Yeah, they said that it has a lot of calcium, which is good for your bones and your blood pressure. You could find something in Doritos where you're like, oh, there's corn chips in there. It's made from corn. No. It's vegetables. Why do you have to rain on my parade? Well, how can that be good for you? I'm going to go have a nice scoop of ice cream after this and say, oh, I'm getting a little daily calcium in my diet. Great. It's good for my bones. Seaweed? Yeah, isn't there? Maybe in your ice cream. Maybe in your ice cream. That's the ice cream you're having. No, there is. There is. Two scoops of kelp. Is that for a real true fact? I'll Google. I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure. Let me Google. You're not going to eat it anymore because it has vegetables in it? I would be really freaked out to know that my ice cream has seaweed in it. That's all I'm going to taste now. Why is some ice cream made with seaweed?
Why is there some seaweed in ice cream? That's all I'm going to say. Is it true that seaweed is used to thicken ice cream? Let me click on that one. Gross. Gross. I'm on answers.com. Find it later. Why is it gross? Because you don't know it. That's a weird product to be an ice cream. An ingredient called carrageenan. What if I said? It is in there? Yeah, it says it's used in most ice creams to thicken it to keep it from becoming icy. It's called carrageenan. Hmm. Hmm. Gross. That's all I'm going to taste now. Sushi and you know it's in that. Well, yeah, but you know. That's all I'm going to taste is seaweed. You don't expect that when you're chewing into chunky monkey. There's only about one teaspoon of seaweed extract in half a gallon of ice cream. It's just very seaweedy. Stop. What else is bad for you that it's actually not bad for you? Chocolate.
All of you that had a lot of chocolate yesterday on Valentine's Day, especially the dark or the bittersweet chocolate, it's rich in flavonoids, antioxidants. Oh, yeah, I love flavonoids. It's antioxidants that protect your heart by preventing blood platelets. Platelets? Blood flatulence. Blood flatulence. Platelets. Platelets. Platelets. Platelets. There you go. From sticking together and forming clots that could cause a heart attack. I made it fancier than it was. That's that bittersweet chocolate. It's like when you're a little kid and you smell vanilla extract, it smells amazing. I'm going to have a drink of this. It's terrible. Yeah, the bittersweet is like what you cook with. Yeah, it's gross. I like it. So, hey, feast on as much as you like. Cheese is really good for you. Is it? Dude, cheese will make you so... But they say don't eat the fat-free kind because it has a lot of really good things in cheese that can prevent breast cancer. I need to worry about that. You don't. I know, my breasts. I'm getting breasts. Guys can get it. Yeah. Beef, a lot of zinc in there. And pizza. Pizza. Oh, yeah, it's got cheese. The cheese. Which has milk. And the pizza sauce delivers tons of lasopini.
I'm telling you, all this stuff is got 8,000. Lauren should be reading the health words because I've never read any of these in my life. Is it lycopene? Maybe. Probably lycopene. Lycopene? Lycopene. Lycopene. You like a what? You like a peen? But pizza helps build bones, lower blood pressure. There's no way. And helps with colon cancer. There's no way. You're giving the worst stuff. People now are going to be like, let's go get it. Okay, so today for lunch I'm going to have a pizza, a bowl of ice cream, and a big wedge of cheese. But if it's made with natural ingredients, if you're going to a place that's like chock full of preservatives on top of those natural ingredients, then... I'm saying, I mean, it's like a lot of people eat pizza and they're like, oh, why did I eat that? That was so bad. Just think, well, there was some good to it too, okay? It's not as bad as you think. Silver lining. Obviously, don't eat ice cream with every meal, but like if you have, you know... scoop here and there, you're actually not doing bad. 100%. Hey, Woodsy. Yes. Tell everybody about how you went to Ikea this weekend. What a nightmare. Dude. Woodsy has no furniture. None. I've got a bed. Nothing. The guys at Sleep Train hooked me up with a sweet bed, but I had no other furniture. So one can only lay on their bed surrounded by their laundry for so long. So I went to...
ikea to get a like a dresser drawer slash tv stand because i bought a new tv too right so there's a section in ikea and it's called as is i'm not a handy guy i don't have any tools so i wanted to find something that was already put together maybe it's got a nick in it or whatever so i find this awesome chest and the guy's like cool man i'm gonna load it up on the deal for you i paid for it's like 100 bucks it's awesome uh-huh i get it out to the car and i'm like how the hell am i gonna get this in my truck It was, it's six drawers deep. It's probably. How did you not even think of that? Well, because Ikea, you have to do everything yourself. So I'm like, all right, so I'll get it in the truck and then I'll get my neighbor to help me. So I'm trying to get it in the truck. And I was like the dude from Silence of the Lambs trying to get the couch in the van. Like, excuse me. I'm trying to get this couch out of my truck. Can you help me get this couch out of me? What about a size 14? My name is Woods. I can't really get this chest out. I had one foot up on the bumper, and I was trying to wedge it in. And then I get home. My neighbor, I live next to two gay guys that are awesome. Why did you look around? He's like, can anybody hear me right now? Nobody can hear me. They're so nice.
My next door, the guy below me, he's like this huge. I was like, I'm going to grab him, have him help me. Out of town. So I had to carry this thing up the stairs myself. So awful. Can you help me? Carry my chest up to my apartment. Creepy. Totally him. For future reference, like seven-year-olds can put together IQ. I can't. I've put it together. I can't. If you have an L wrench. Wait, what guy doesn't have any tools? Me. They give you the tools. They'll give you everything you need. You just need to have thumbs. I thought that was like you had to have tools if you're a man. Mikey, do you have tools? You've got to have a basic. I have nothing. Yeah. Mikey probably has the best tools out there. They've never been used. They're all shiny, brand new. Craftsman drills. Still in the package. Still never been touched. DeWalt drills. Actually, they've all been touched. My wife uses them all the time.
So listen to this. Sienna says that on Friday, her mom calls her and says, what are you and Todd doing on Saturday night? Because she's engaged. Boyfriend Todd, she says, kind of nervously, nothing. So her mom picks her and Todd up at 545 on Saturday, right? And takes you? We didn't know where we were going. We're in the car. The whole family's in the car. We're all, you know, dressed like to go to dinner. And she parked. In a place where I didn't know where we were. It was a back alley. She took us around to the front. She's like, I'm going to introduce you guys to heroin. We didn't know where we were. And we went around the front and it was a dance studio. We were doing some pre-wedding dance lessons. Wow. Your mom does not leave any stone unturned. My mom. is a genius. She is a genius. Because my dad didn't know where we were going either. And Todd, those two, yeah, right. Getting them to go do a dance class. It was tango. We did tango too. And they actually really liked it. It was a lot of fun. Well, my mom brought wine, a lot of it. And so they were okay. They were both extremely inebriated and had a really good time. Todd even did a little break dancing on his own. What did you get for Valentine's Day?
Me? I got this nifty little wireless mouse. Oh, look at you. I know. From where? I think you got it at Best Buy. I think you got it at Ed Hardy. I like it. It's what's wrong with it. I like it. I think it's really cool. It's like a graphic. It's black and blue. What's on the front? Some swirls. I like swirls. It's like a graphic mouse. I'm saying it's cool. I think it's awesome. What did you get for your wife? Yeah. Nothing. Thursday it's coming. Oh, sure. We're celebrating Thursday. Bye some more time. And he also got me, because I just got a new laptop for work, he also got me a bag for my laptop. How about that? And an Ed Hardy steering wheel cover. There's LL Bean. LL Bean. It's a really nice bag. How about you? I love the mouse, by the way. What's up? You have a nice Valentine's? I had a fantastic Valentine's. Here, I got you this gift to show my love for you. Through something material. I hope you enjoy it. No. Choke on it. No. Lauren is very against the idea of having to get something for somebody on Valentine. There is nothing material exchanged. Really? No, except Matt gave me a card and I didn't give him anything. You didn't give him anything? No. Nothing. I bought lunch yesterday. Lauren! How long have you been with Matt? That is awful. Three years?
Nothing. You did something and you're not saying. I bought lunch. We went, okay, well, we. He always buys lunch. That's just what you do. So Mikey bought, he bought our lunch. Does that mean that he didn't have to get you, you know, you don't have to get him anything for Christmas? Mikey, you didn't get anything for your wife. He took her away to a romantic weekend. Yeah, but they went on like an amazing weekend. Well, we had an amazing weekend. He surprised her with double massages. We did. We gathered seashells and clams. No, we hiked. We walked on the beach. I want to know. What the moment was like when he gave you a card and you gave him a handshake and said thank you. Out on the back. I woke up and it was sitting there with my name on it. Did you feel any pain? Yes, a lot. And then I was like, well, maybe I'll just go out because I was like, I'm going to make you dinner. So I was going to go out and get the groceries and then just get a card. Yeah, smart. But we ended up not doing that because we were running late on time and we were hungry. So we just. Did, like, a little late lunch, and I bought that. I'm sure Matt knew, though, how Lauren is. Yes. He knows. I had to buy him a foggy smear. No, but see, I'll give him a card randomly on, like, March 5th for no reason, you know? Todd and I woke up at 6 o'clock and exchanged gifts at 6.03. A.M.? Yes. Why? Because we wake up early. This is morning. Morning show time. And I immediately was like...
Valentine's Day! Stage gifts! She's like five. I already knew where my gift was because I accidentally found it. But I went and got his and I got him a brand new outfit for our rehearsal dinner. See, that's more of a gift for you. 100%. No, he wanted it. He had told me that he doesn't have anything. He wants something new for a rehearsal dinner. What'd you get him? I went to Banana Republic and I got him some really nice gray slacks and a light blue button-up. This is how it happened for Rebecca and I. We were at the hotel. It was about nine o'clock in the morning on Valentine's morning. We were both on our wireless laptops. Yeah. She went on Facebook, saw somebody post something about Valentine's Day and went, oh, honey, happy Valentine's Day. Oh, yeah, honey, you too. Stop. Just so you know. Hey, we did. We did. But that's, you know, we said I told her before we left. I go, babe, I go, I have to tell you something. And we just have to I'm going to put this out there. I said, I have a surprise for you. I want to do two days of massage. That's the best. Right, right? So she's all happy, right? And I go, but I said, but I also need to tell you, you know, that I didn't get a chance to do a card. And she goes, I didn't either. Did she get you anything? No. That's what you agreed upon. We agreed that we would not get anything. That we were going to go away for the weekend and that that was going to be our thing.
You know, unlike Matt, who got a card for Lauren. He did more than that, I heard. Yes, he did. He did more than that? Yeah. What else did he do? Did you make a mistake? I feel like a jerk. Did you make a mistake? Did I? No, did the mouse in your pocket. Did the mouse in your pocket make a mistake? I do feel bad. We went downtown. He got a hotel room. What a baller. He went to a nice dinner. Then we went to the fanfare day. Yeah, and you know what he gets in return? Pat on the back. Yeah. Thanks, pal. Handshake. Thanks, pal. Happy Valentine's Day, Chief. I bought lunch on Sunday. I love you. It was 15 bucks for McDonald's. Well, so I'm taking my wife to Pample Moose, and I've already got a card. She's listening. I'm buying gifts throughout the week, every day. All week, last week, I said Woods.
You need to send her something. She needs something to open on Valentine's Day. I didn't want to break her heart. I didn't want to break her heart. I want to do it in person. You're not going to break her heart. She's going to think, what a sweet man. Do you know how upset she was yesterday? We Skyped all day and visited. Because she didn't get a surprise in the mail like you should have said. She's getting her freaking surprise on Thursday. And she's used to it because usually I'd be like, hey, let's celebrate on the 15th because that's payday. So she's totally used to it. Read her Facebook. Read her Facebook. Okay. Yeah, we don't celebrate on Valentine's Day because Kim and I will full-on break into a huge fight, so we do it on Friday night. What do you mean? I can't explain it, but if we ever try to go out on Valentine's Day, it ends horribly. Because it's a beating out there, man. Yeah, it is. We went out last night, and it was a magical evening. Why do you guys fight, though, Jay? I don't know. It's just I don't know if it's a pressure or something always goes wrong. So we've cut Valentine's Day out completely. Although we did, she had Valentine's Day candy, although she broke the rule. She had a box of Whoppers for me, and all the kids had candy with hearts on them and stuff. You like Whoppers? I love Whoppers. Let me ask you guys a question. My mom still sends me a Valentine's Day card. Oh, yeah. She came over in the morning with one for Todd and I, and my dad got me a box of C's candy. Really? Yeah. My mom put $40 in it. My grandma.
My grandma even gave us all cards. Isn't she awesome? It's like you're still 18 years old. 40 bucks. 40 bucks. It's like, here's $5. Yep, 40 bucks. Wow. That's so cute. That's 40 more dollars than Matt got, buddy. Fair enough. She bought lunch. You know what's making it worse is that she's leaning on the lunch bit. That makes it worse. You guys live together. You should pick up a meal from now, time to time. I do, but he never lets me, so he let me. Hey, he's like, geez, I dropped like three grand this week and I got nothing. Yeah, get my omelet, please. Poor kid, he's such a sweetheart. We hung out Saturday and he's just, he's awesome. I'm sorry, dude. Sorry, Matt. He said he didn't care. Of course he said that. Sorry, dude. He didn't want to cry in front of you. He knows her, though. He knows who he's with. Fair enough. That's so double standard. If it was one of us, we would be getting flayed. Well, of course. I'm just saying. Well, I'm only saying that because I think she feels bad, and I'm trying to not make her feel bad. Yeah, we talked about the double standard. I can see it. I can see it, but I can't stop poking it. I can't stop poking it. No, we talked. It's a complete double standard. I have a whole list of double standards. I'll be the first one to admit it. Give me another one.
No, don't give me the break sign. It's time to go, Mike. Mike, you must break. We are so late. What else? Oh, I know. That's what we talked about. Okay, so he... I'll say it real quick, Jay. He had like a little blemish going on on his neck. Pimple. And he pointed it out. And then later on in the day, I was like, yeah, because you're... Zit has its own zip code on it. Oh, my God. Zits have zits. He was like, babe, you can't test it. I was like, what? You said it earlier. If you say it, then I can say it. And I was like, by the way, that's a total double standard. Yeah, because if he had said that. If I say I'm fat on Valentine's Day, then you can't turn around and say you are pretty fat. Yeah, you're a little chubby. Yeah. I would go in and pop that thing. Oh, I did. That's... Why did an old Nintendo sell for $13?

You know the old school Nintendos, like the oldest ones with the Tetris and all those great games. Well, this girl in North Carolina got on eBay and she put her Nintendo up there. And there were five games that she also put up. One of the games is a collector's item where people believe that there's like these people that follow Nintendo say there are fewer than 10 copies in existence. And the name of the game is called Stadium Events.
And the reason, I'm like out of breath, I just ran to the printer. It's called Stadium Events. The printer is like 10 feet away. Lauren climbed Cowles Mountain yesterday, okay? You just went to the printer and you're about to vomit. That's like 10 feet away. I'm serious, I have a problem. This girl put her Nintendo up there, the console. Then she put a couple games. Stadium Events was one of them. But she had the original cardboard box that Stadium Events came in, which I guess no one has anymore. And the cardboard box is what... Why are you putting the Trekkie fingers up? So then they had the original cardboard box. No, you don't. Greetings. Because I guess like, you know, the cardboard box, most people would throw that away and it's just hard to keep it in good condition. Yeah. And this girl's Stadium Events cardboard case was in perfect condition. And so. Because I've hermetically sealed it in a vacuum. You know, she was hoping to get a couple hundred bucks and she got $13,000. Nerd. $13,000? That is so awesome.
I had one of those in college, but I didn't have the hermetically sealed stadium events. Wow. Taylor, I know you save everything. This is my brother. Search for stadium events with a cardboard box. He's got it. For sure. He's got it. Guaranteed. What are America's most overvalued cities? And what does that even mean? Well, it means like, you know, the people that are spending too much on property taxes. Number one. No. San Diego is not on the list because technically. Technically, San Diego is not overvalued because we have really nice weather. There's the beach. That's what I was telling my friends. They're like, oh, my God, it's so expensive in San Diego. I go, I lived in Chicago five years, and it's butt cold there in the winter. It's $75 every day here. I'll pay whatever it takes to live here. Well, Lauren's right. Jersey is on the list at number one. Atlantic City. Really? Ocean City, New Jersey is also on the list, number three. So it costs a lot to live there? Yeah. Down the shore. But it's not that great. But I don't get this. Is that the deal? I thought that's what overvalue means. It costs a lot, but it's not worth it. You don't get a whole lot of property. Oh. For the money. For the money, yeah. Yeah, it's saying it's overvalued. Yeah, Atlantic City, New Jersey is over 30% overvalued. Right. But I don't understand why Honolulu, Hawaii is on the list. Wow.
Because that's a beautiful place. Is it just uber expensive? I guess. Like three times as much as here? Yeah. Probably because of all the smog and everything. It's like the ninth largest city in the U.S. Honolulu? Yeah. Really? Yeah. I loved it. Everyone was like, I said trashy. I thought it was cool. It's a city on an island. A kid likes a big city. I like the grit, man. I love a city. It's so touristy, though. I like it. I've never been there. No desire to go. It's cool. It's cool. Go see Pearl Harbor, dude. Look what you guys did. Why don't I just go see Chicago? Because it's the same thing with palm trees. Remember that story? Oh, it's the worst. It's the worst. We'll save that for uncomfortable moments. What I liked about this article is that the example they gave was San Diego. Most people would think it's overvalued, but because of its great weather, its outdoor lifestyle, it's worth it for people to live here. So I was like, yes! Take that. Hey, what was the deal with that body that they found on the cliffs in Torrey Pines? What is that story? This is pretty crazy. A woman in her 20s was found in the cliffs below the Torrey Pines glider port yesterday afternoon on Valentine's Day. There were some people walking on the beach below. What is that? Black Beach? Right. And they looked up on the cliffs and saw blue jeans about 80 feet up on the cliffs. And so they called the police. There was helicopters there. They found this woman's body. They don't know what?
No, they don't know who she is yet. She had no identification on her, but she had a backpack. She had a water bottle. She had a flashlight that was still in the on position. They found all this stuff nearby. So people are like, OK, well, maybe she was hiking in the dark and she fell off the edge of the cliffs. You know, they don't know what happened. But, um, yeah, the helicopter came and retrieved her body. And this is, I mean, could you imagine just like walking along and seeing that? Yeah. That was scary. I almost went hiking at Torrey Pike. Yeah. That's why I don't hike. Yeah. That's why I stay in bed with wireless. Yep. That's why I don't leave the house. Yeah. Yep. Why is everybody around Del Mar freaking out about what they're wanting to do around the fair? What do they want to do? I think Jay knows more about this than I do. But I found this article and I didn't even know any of this was going on. But apparently they want to do some serious additions to the Del Mar fairgrounds. I'm talking they want to add a four-story condominium, hotel, conference center, an exhibit hall with rooftop sports fields, a health club, a three-story office building, a fire station, and all this other stuff. A parking garage, a seasonal train platform, new stables. Sounds like a great...
way to lighten traffic up exactly so they want to do all of this and they have a big budget to do it but people are like dude you can't do this look how bad the five freeway is already dude during the during the races oh that's pretty much the gist of it right jay oh just let a brother know when that is man oh dude when the races stay inside and then the races happen like right when the fair is about to end they have a fair here oh god Is it cool? Delmar Fair. Is it awesome? Yeah. Did you ever go to the Texas State Fair? Yeah, this is a county fair. Never did. But you'll like it. It's fine. All right, we got to go. 570-194-9. I know it's already turned. Oh, there was a pothole at the Daytona 500, by the way. Oh, yeah, we didn't even talk about it. They had a big pothole there. What can you tell me about it? What did they do about it? They tried to fix it, and it took forever. And Dale Earnhardt said, there's two and a half miles of hole in this track. It's so damn slick, it shouldn't be like that. It's 2010. Wake up. That was beautiful. That's fantastic. That was my Dale Earnhardt. 570-1949 is the number. Beginning and end of every show, open phones. You can call about anything you want to right now. Tomorrow, we usually, on Wednesday, we go see a movie. Okay? Oh, it's tomorrow. But we're going to do it tomorrow. So, Sienna traded weeks with Woodsy. To get the movie I wanted. Just to get the movie she wanted. She always gets her way, doesn't she? Okay. I find a way around things. So, we're going to see Valentine's Day, the movie Valentine's Day.
You guys are going to like it. I'm sure. I'd be willing to wager. We'll see. It's tomorrow. Also on the show tomorrow, we're going to be doing Name That TV theme music. We're also going to be doing a little thing called Lyrically Impaired. Hillary's coming up next, and she is broadcasting live from where today? Where is she, Woodsy? Woods would know. She's at the Bob Marley, what's it called? Bob Marley Fest. What's it called? Yeah, it's down at Sports Arena. It's like a reggae fest. The reggae fest. I don't think we can call it Bob Marley anymore. Reggae fest? Yeah. Cool. So I'll miss her today. Lovely and talented Hillary up next. We will be back here tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. The Mikey Show is out. Later.
