Tragic breaking news of actor Corey Haim starts the show, found dead just hours earlier in L.A. David Letterman’s blackmailer gets sentenced and mean girl Lindsey Lohan decides to sue E-Trade for using her name on a commercial. I guess her liquor cabinet is getting empty, or as Woods speculates, she’s low on blow! Weird story of another celebrity blackmailer this time involving Cindy Crawford. Lauren’s new tee shirt is a lion this time. Ladainian Tomlinson visits with the NFC North champs Minnesota Vikings. Mikey’s Uncle Chewy stops in to drop some advice and bag on every show member! Airport travails (not travels) that irritate us the most is next, like the shoe remover, baggage issues, and flight attendants who think they are stand up comedians. The Incorporator calls up a fabric and craft shop and after Woods is done he admits it was the toughest one yet. Susanna the intern brings Woods some breakfast. Neil Diamond is confused American Idol with the show Matlock, then gets mimicked by Lauren! Manly Things Wives Do at Home brings out the true nature of Mikey and Woods. Don’t be a handyman, be a pansyman! Mikey plays the audio of the Prius with a stuck accelerator. Dave Matthews stops by all cleaned up and fresh but still high as a kite because he thinks he’s playing the Oscars next week. Mikey tickles Woods, Woods pats Jay’s butt and Frankie busts in overly excited to tickle Woods and ends up spanking him! Worst road trips stories have Lauren tell of the time she picked up a stinky hitchhiker.

KBZT San Diego, a Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of The Mikey Show, FM 94.9. It's The Mikey Show, welcome to it, and you can jump on the phones and talk to us. We'd love to talk to you right now. 570-1949 is the number, and so get a hold of us. And also, if you'd like to, you can text messages. 949MIKEY at gmail.com is the text. Lots of big news happening. Lots of big news happening. So we're going to hit you up on all the big stuff. And I'm talking even breaking news that we're going to be giving you here in just a second. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Steve Woods is our news guy. He's 34 years old. Lauren O'Brien is our assistant producer. Sienna is our news girl. And Jay is our executive producer. And there is big news happening right now.
This is just coming out right now. Breaking news on who, Sienna? Corey Haim. You guys all remember him? Sure. The 80s star, the Corey's. Well, he was found dead in his home early this morning. And he was rushed to the hospital before 4 o'clock a.m. where he was pronounced dead. And the LAPD has said that his death appeared to be an accidental drug overdose. Really? Yes. Part of the Corys, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim were in a bunch of movies together. Were they in Lost Boys? They were in Lost Boys. License to Drive. Genius. Yeah. Never seen either of those movies. Really? Dream a Little Dream. Really? Oh, yes. Yeah. That's right. Don't remember. Sad, dude. I'm really sad. My age, 34, I was right in that meaty part of Corey Haim's career. I remember being a kid, fifth, sixth grade, going, That dude's awesome. That guy is awesome. Really? Yeah, loved him. Loved him. I'm heartbroken, man. It's so sad. Yeah, it's a bummer. The investigation is underway. It's a sad deal, right? It is, man. I read an article about him this morning when it came down. I mean, think about it, guys. It was a couple hours ago. And he was really bad into, I guess, cocaine in the 80s. And then, dude, the guy started taking pills. He was taking 85 pills a day.
By his own admission. Downers. Really? 85 pills a day. Said, man, he took one and then went to four, went to eight, went to ten, and next thing you know. So who knows what they're going to find in his system, man. That blows me away. That's too bad, man. He was a very talented dude. Yeah. Wait a minute. Maybe I did see the Lost Boys. Was that with the dude from 24? Yeah. Kiefer Sutherland. Kiefer Sutherland. Jason Patrick was awesome. That's right. 570-1949. is our number. You can give us a call, 949mikey at gmail.com if you want to get a hold of us by text message. And also, I want you to know what an M1 is. An M1 is a Mikey Show listener. So if you listen to the Mikey Show exclusively, you call in, you turn your radio down, get to the point, and don't cuss, that makes you an M1. You're a part of the M1 Nation. Other huge things that we're going to be talking about on the show today. There's some Charger news that we're going to be telling you about. Who's looking at LT? Where's LT going to be going? We'll be talking about that. We're also going to be talking about a pretty crazy story that has to do with bird poop facials. True story. Yummy. True story. What else we got later? Oh, what Sharon Osbourne is going to be.
putting on eBay. It has to do with her own body. Weird. Right? Weird. Very. And a story that I definitely want to know about. There is a fast food chain that is going to be getting new fries. And we will tell you about it later. You know what I think would be interesting for people is to think to themselves what fast food place needs new fries. You know, that's an interesting thing. And I'll tell you right now, not McDonald's. No, never. Best fries in the business. Better hope they're not changing them. Oh, yeah. Well, we'll find out who it is. So we'll do that in a little bit. But the breaking news, Corey Haim is dead at the age of 38 or 39? 38. 38 years old. Yeah. Also, there are quite a few things going on in terms of...
possible legislation with sex offenders because of what happened with chelsea king what are we hearing sienna well the latest on the entire sex offender situation especially here in san diego is yesterday john gardner went to court and we talked about it briefly towards the end of the show yesterday and that um his hearing was delayed his preliminary hearing was supposed to be on march 18th it's been moved to august 4th and the judge has issued a gag order on parties in the proceedings really yes now That means that unlike the OJ case, they're not going to televise all that stuff? I guess so. Really? Because this is like, you know, really hitting home with a lot of people. So I think they're going to try to keep it as private as they can. A gag order means you can't talk about it at all, right? Well, so that's his preliminary hearing is August 4th. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So yesterday I had thought that that was going to be his actual trial date. So who knows when his trial date is going to be. But yeah, they're not going to say anything about it. We're not going to get any new info, I bet. They're going to try to get all their information together between now and August 4th and see if, you know. It's just, ugh. That's crazy. I wonder if that's to try to keep a jury as unbiased as possible. How's that possible? You have to get one heck of a jury, yeah. Maybe look in Indonesia.
Seriously. For that jury. I mean, like in a city like San Diego, how do you expect to find people that don't know about this story? I know. I know. And while we're talking about the John Gardner situation and Chelsea King, Chelsea King's parents actually reached out to a local assemblyman. His name is Nathan Fletcher. And they asked him to, you know, further investigate into the situation, look through his John Gardner's records, because we need to. to change these sex offender laws. We need to do something, you know, because Chelsea's parents, Brent and Kelly, have asked, we need to protect these kids. Like, this is ridiculous. I don't want anyone feeling what we're feeling right now. So Nathan Fletcher, the assembly man, went to the court, you know, and he asked, he requested all criminal records for John Gardner. Well, he didn't hear anything for several days. And when they got back to him, they said that all of John Gardner's time and parole, all of his records have been destroyed. What? Destroyed. Great work. Which is unacceptable. He's a sex offender. They destroyed the paperwork. Great work. Why would they do that? Yeah. And it makes you think, so what other creeps stuff has been destroyed? Exactly. Well, Governor Schwarzenegger heard about this yesterday. Obviously, it's a big deal. And he ordered that all California correctional officials keep sex offender police records, everything. He said this is ridiculous. This is an outrage. Unacceptable.
So hopefully it will no longer be an issue. That's good. I'm glad he's doing that. Yeah, for sure. Not a terrible thing. Uh-huh. 570-1949 and 949mikey at gmail.com. If you would like to text in something, we're getting some text messages about Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. Of course, they were best friends. Mikey, a little bit of my childhood died today. I was the biggest fan of Corey Haim. I even had a license to drive poster in my room. Absolutely. Corey Haim was one of my favorite film stars to this day. And one of my favorite movies ever was The Lost Boys. Rest in peace, Corey Haim, M1 DC. And you can call us, 570-1949. The other big news today is what's going on with David Letterman. Because you know he was extorted. He was having an affair and the boyfriend of the woman that he was having an affair with basically tried to extort Letterman. He was a former CBS News producer, which is even more shocking. I know. And yeah, he tried to extort.
Letterman and tried to get $2 million from him saying, you know, he has proof that Letterman was hooking up with this girl. Well, they went to court yesterday and his name is Robert Joe Halderman. And he agreed to plead guilty to second degree grand larceny in exchange for six months in jail, five years probation and 1000 hours of community service. Oh, wow. Yep. Here he is. Here he is talking to the press. I just wanted to say that, again, I apologize to Mr. Letterman, his family, to Stephanie Burkett, her family, and certainly to my friends and family. I will not be doing any interviews, and I thank you all for your patience. How embarrassing is that? Yeah. That's brutal. Letterman said, I'm extremely grateful for the police's tireless effort. Tireless effort, yeah. Really? Pretty crazy. Hey, we got a text message here, too. from somebody that was texting us about the Lindsay Lohan thing. Don't know if you've heard this, but it says this text message says, Mikey, are you guys going to talk about this at all? I just saw this while I was sitting at my desk. Lindsay Lohan is suing who? E-Trade. E-Trade. Over what? You know those commercials that, I mean, this particular one aired during the Super Bowl of the babies that talk with the adult voices. Oh, look at this.
Jay's got the commercial for us. Nice, Jay. Let's listen. So, yeah, sorry about last night. Yeah, I just don't understand why you didn't call. Yeah, well, I was on E-Trade, you know, diversifying my portfolio, taking control like a wolf. Right. What's that? That's volatility in the market, taking care of, wolf style. And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn't over? Lindsay? Milka what? Build a diversified portfolio at E-Trade. Yeah, that was it. Lindsay Lohan is furious over that. And she's suing E-Trade for $100 million for using her name in their latest commercial. She's the only person named Lindsay. Well, her lawyer says they're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan or something else like that? This is a subliminal message. And she also goes on to say, you know, a lot of celebrities, they go by only one name, like Lindsay.
I could just say Lindsay, and you knew I'd be talking about Lindsay Lohan, right? I'm actually, I didn't know if you guys knew, but I'm going to sue Sandra Bullock. She made a movie last year with Bradley Cooper. It was called All About Steve. Yeah. And I'm furious. Absolutely. I'm beyond furious. I'm so glad you're finally saying that. It was one of the worst movies of the year, and it was obviously about me. Yeah, Steve Woods. So I am done. Well, I think that Tiger Woods is actually suing us for the Woods on Sports Day. Yes, absolutely. I actually heard that as well. I heard that as well. What a moron. I finally filed a class action suit against Life Cereal. Mikey, it's been like 20 years, dude. Because of all the times that people walk up to me and tell me to eat that cereal, and I'm like, you know how much pain and suffering I've been through over that stupid cereal? Do you know how many people compare me to a minivan? To a minivan, yeah. Come on, I'm going to sue Toyota. Every day, they're like, hey, hey, lady. Do you know there's a car named after you? A Sienna? That's right. I know. What's up with your minivan, bro? Who's the attorney that was like, yeah, that's a great idea. I'm in. Let's go. Sign me up. That is the weirdest thing I've ever heard. Because we saw that commercial. And honestly, I never thought to myself, uh-huh, it's a Lindsay Lohan thing.
I didn't. I mean, maybe that is a deal, but I never made the connection. I just thought it was funny. The dumb get dumber. Seriously. I mean, that's ridiculous. That is a goofball. She's hungry for some money, I think, right now is the situation there. You think that might be what it is? What else has she been doing? She's not doing any movies. $100 million? Really? That's how much you're going to sue them for? She's been doing a lot of blow is what I think she's been doing. 570-194-9. Or maybe... Oh, sorry. Go ahead. I was just saying, maybe she just wants us to be talking about her. Yeah, as we are. Could be. 949mikey at gmail.com if you want to get a text message in here. Lots of stories out there from the Letterman deal to that fiasco and the news that came out just this morning about Corey Haim. Oh, also, from KGTV's website, we have audio of the 911 call. A little bit later on from the dude in the Prius. Oh, on the 8 freeway here? The 8, man. That was crazy. It is so nuts. It's been freaking me out, man, when I'm driving my car. And I'm like, it's starting to get in my head. Like, boy, I hope my baby makes it to work or makes it to the golf place or wherever I'm going. It's kind of flipping me out. Does it really? Yeah, dude, it's in my head. That if you put your foot on the brake, it might not happen. Something's going to misfire.
You know, it's one of those things. I guess it's in the back of all of our heads that we hope something weird doesn't happen. And it's making us think something weird could happen. Absolutely. So, hey, what about this one? What's up with the dude that got convicted for blackmailing Cindy Crawford? Oh, my goodness. This was crazy. I didn't do it. You didn't? You sure? No. I mean, we had a little fling, but I never blackmailed her. Yeah. No, it was a German man who was blackmailing Cindy Crawford. He's just been sentenced to two years in jail. Now, his name is Edis Kayalar, and he was trying to extort money from her by threatening to release a picture of her seven-year-old daughter. Apparently, like, this is kind of weird, and I don't remember ever hearing about this, but her seven-year-old daughter, there was a picture of her, like, gagged and tied to a chair. Huh? And this guy had a picture of it, and everyone's like, okay, that's... Her daughter, for sure. What? Well, apparently, the nanny, they were playing a game of cops and robbers. And the nanny took a picture, and this guy stole the picture from the nanny. Oh, man. Weird O. Yeah. Weird O. Yeah, he should be convicted. What did he get? They say? They didn't say, no, but I just am so creeped out.
I mean, what if you were Cindy Crawford? I mean, would you be upset as a parent if you came home and there was like a picture of your child? I mean, I know it's probably all in fun. Yeah. But like, she's a big name. You can't really do things like that. Absolutely. Well, I don't know that cops and robbers should ever really go as far as actually gagging someone, a kid. And tying him to a chair. Maybe pretend. Yeah. Maybe pretend. Maybe put your hands behind. Yeah, maybe pretend. I'm handcuffed. Yeah, maybe not actually handcuffed. Yeah. Well, I wonder what her relationship, the nanny's relationship was with this guy because maybe she had a little light bulb go off. Let me take this picture and we'll make it look like Cindy Crawford's a creep. Yeah. Well, apparently this has been going on for a while and he was just convicted and he's going to be in jail for two years. So does blackmail or extortion ever work anymore? I don't think so. I mean, I don't think so. But that's terrible. That's a terrible deal. That's awful. And what about this? JetBlue and Delta apparently are, there's some new tarmac rule that I don't even know about. But they're like, we don't want any, we want to be exempt from it. We don't want to have to fall. I don't know what the tarmac rule is. See, and I didn't even know what the tarmac was. I was like, tarmac, I know that. So I asked him. Yeah, it's the thing that they land on. But how many times do you hear people say, oh, when I was waiting on the tarmac. Is that the runway, what they land on? Yeah, the runway.
Isn't the tarmac when they get off the runway and they're taxiing in? It is. It's where they like, see? It's not straight away. It's all tarmac. It's all tarmac. I'm going to check it out. I'm going to go to Wikipedia. Do it. I'm going to go to they.com. Yeah, go to they.com and see what they say. I think that the tarmac is where they like hang out before they go on the runway. You know when you get on a plane and the plane departs from the gate and then you're just hanging out on the plane forever? That's what I thought. I think that wherever you are then is the tarmac. No. Jay says no. Jay would know. Jay says no with confidence. I know. I have a feeling all four of us are wrong. Okay, I'm sorry, Jay. I'm so sorry. Jay, the whole thing, right? Like where you're parked at the gate and where you take off from. Go ahead. It's a road or surface, especially an airport runway. So that means that while you're parked at the gate, you're not on the tarmac. I guess not. Well, it's especially the runway. Especially the runway, Mikey. It's going to drive me nuts. I know. Why is it called a tarmac? It's a mac made of tar. Yeah, tarmac. That's right. We at Maple have come up with something completely new. We wanted to be able to have something that the plane could actually launch from. Right. But we didn't want the plane to take the time. The feedback we were getting was people who love to fly, but they didn't like to be parked in the plane or actually they didn't enjoy takeoff. I agree.
And so we thought, well, how can we eliminate sitting in the plane for hours or the actual fear that's involved with takeoff? And then we decided we'd do it wirelessly. Amazing. That is genius. That is amazing. Now no one's afraid of flying anymore. Because it's all wireless now. All wireless. So, like, I can travel wirelessly. That's right. I can fly wirelessly. That's right. I mean, why spend hours sitting in a plane? When? When you can actually do the entire thing wirelessly. I wouldn't do it any other way. I wouldn't either. Why would you? Sold. That's right. That's why we're putting out the new iTarmac. That's right. Mapple's doing some big things. Mapple's huge. Thank you. Well, while the planes apparently have been waiting on the tarmac for up to three hours, especially at JFK Airport in New York. Right. And it's just ridiculous. People are complaining. I mean, how can you expect people to just sit on a plane for three hours when it's not even moving? Right. Retarded. I know it. Sorry. So check this out. LT has an official visit with a team. He does. An official visit with a team tomorrow. When we come back, Witsy's going to tell you who it is. What team? Oh, and we have other Charger news, too. Please be good.
Sienna, I wish I could comfort you. This is the worst. It just gets worse and worse and worse and worse. I wish I could comfort you. Are we going to have a team this season? I'm telling you. I'll be 40 soon, and I talked to a friend of mine that's going to be 40 in a week, and he didn't like it, and I don't have a problem. That's great. Yeah, I mean, you know, 40 to a guy. Well, I don't know. I guess some guys, he didn't like it, but I don't have a problem with it.
I've kind of felt like, you know, in terms of being the young prowling lion, those days are over. So I'm just ready to approach the twilight of my years. Oh, my goodness. Speak of the devil. Oh, my goodness. I just looked over at Lauren O'Brien. Oh, wow. That's awesome. Lauren is paying off a bet. Is it a bet? It wasn't really a bet. It wasn't really a bet. It was more like a self-challenge. It was a self-challenge. It was a self-challenge. The deal was we were talking about things that guys wish that they could do, that women do, and things that women wish that they could do, that guys could do. Sienna brought up the fact that women can't wear T-shirts. Big T-shirts. Big T-shirts. Dude T-shirts. Comfy T-shirts. It's not considered acceptable, you know, if we were to wear T-shirts every day. Nope. It's considered slovenly. Lauren's changing the rules. Yeah. She's changing the rules. Yeah. And Lauren sat up straight and looked me in the eye and said, I disagree with that, Mike. I believe that women could wear a man's T-shirt and they could do it with pride. There would be no problems with it. I said, really?
Sienna, you said put her to the test, right? Who said it? I don't remember. One of us did. I think Lauren said it. I think Lauren said it herself. Say it yourself? I'm going to test myself to see if I can do that. Say that themselves. Hey, guys, I accept my challenge. I accept my challenge. Exactly. Can you please stand up? Yeah. I have a question. Ow! Oh, did you get shocked? Did you get shocked? Did you get shocked? Yes! Why do you do it? What happens? If you stand up and you're wearing headphones... It crackles. Sometimes it crackles and shocks you. It's the second time today. Today? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, question. Wow, wow, look at that sucker. That does not fit Matt. It does, and he almost got rid of it because it's kind of like a baby tee on him. It's a smedium. Dude, why does Matt... Have that t-shirt. Did Matt work in a zoo? Yeah. Because he had a wolf t-shirt. He's got lion shirts. He's an animal lover. His same group of friends bought him this lion t-shirt for his birthday. The buddies that he goes down to South Carolina with and they count how many wolf t-shirts, wolf car screenings, bald eagles painted on the back, you know, so they got the lion.
You're going to be in a movie theater wearing that today. I know. So are you feeling comfortable wearing that shirt? Yeah, this one's not like... It's not too bad. The thing that's actually bad about this one is it kind of looks like I'm trying to pull it off because it is not that big. Right. So this almost looks like I just have really bad fashion sense. I think every day I'm going to call out Lauren on how I know she doesn't feel comfortable wearing the shirt. Thank you. Because I have another thing. I have another thing. Tell the yesterday. Well, yesterday. Well, she first started wearing the T-shirts on Monday. She has to wear them all week. And Hillary came in, who's on the air after us. And the first thing Lauren said was, Hillary, I'm wearing this because it's a bit. It's a bit. This is why I'm wearing this T-shirt. And so she's already defending her T-shirt. Of course. And then I was on Facebook yesterday. And I see Lauren changed her Facebook profile pic. And it's really cute. She has a new brand new baby niece. And the baby was born on Monday. And in the picture, Lauren was not wearing a T-shirt. Really? Well, the first, when I went to the hospital at 11, right from here, I was wearing it. And I wore the jacket over it. Because she was embarrassed? Because I didn't want to scare my niece. Yeah, with a wolf. Oh, really? Is that what it was? You didn't want to scare your niece? She's a baby. Yeah, and one of the first things she saw about her Aunt Lauren to be these piercing, glowing eyes.
Yeah, and I went home and did other things, so I got changed. Of course you did. Because you didn't feel comfortable in the new shirt. Of course she didn't. You know why? Because she's a woman wearing a man's T-shirt. With a wolf on it. The paint material on the shirt was rubbing against her cheek. She's too delicate. She told you. She was like, hey, listen. Only a couple hours old. If you could just do me a favor. The thing is right here on the cheek. Just with a T-shirt. I had to take my little visitor sticker. I had to peel it off the wolf T-shirt. And put it onto my own shirt. That one is something else, the one you're wearing today. He almost got rid of it, and I was like, I like it. Of course you do. I like it. I think he's actually a Leo. I think that is his Sagittarius. Wow. Doesn't mean it's okay. Mine's a crab. I'm cancer, but you don't see me with a crab on my shirt. That is 100% right.
I can't wait to see her walking around with that today. You have to leave the jacket in the car. I also want to see her in an extra large. It's a little snug. Spirit of the agreement. Yeah, it is. Wait till what I have in store for tomorrow. That'll be good. It gets better. It gets a little bit more sloppy. That's what I'm looking for. Woodsy. Big day tomorrow for LaDainian Tomlinson. Recently released by the Chargers, he'll make his official visit to the Minnesota Vikings. Wow. Didn't you call that? Probably. Yeah, I think you did. Probably. Actually, I think my dad did. I think my dad actually is the one that called it. Really? So by extension, I called it. Sure. They just recently lost Chester Taylor to free agency. They need a compliment for Adrian Peterson. LT has said, listen. I know I'm getting up there in years. I don't mind sharing the backfield with somebody. Plus, I get the chance to mentor a young running back. So I think it's going to be a great fit. Plus, probably going to help get Brett Favre back, if you think about it. He's going to have those two dudes in the backfield. And how many times do you actually hear a guy say, I want to mentor someone? I think it's rad, and I think it's a great fit for him. That's awesome. That's tough, because he could have mentored somebody here, too. I don't buy it. You don't buy what?
I love LT, but I don't buy it. You don't buy the mentor part? No. I do. That's who he is, though. He knows he's in the twilight of his career. I think if he could help a guy like AP, who is amazing, that would be really cool. But Sienna, you know he's one of the good guys. I know. Which is why I don't want anything good to come out of him leaving. You may see them in the Super Bowl next year. Well, the Cleveland Browns have finally released quarterback Derek Anderson after a few tumultuous years in Cleveland. The fans in Cleveland are probably pretty psyched about the move since I remember a couple of years ago he went down with a season-ending knee injury and they cheered. They were very excited to see him go for the year. Cleveland fans are nuts. I didn't say that. Sounds like Philly fans. Here's what he had to say about the fans in Cleveland. The fans are ruthless and don't deserve a winner. I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured. I know at times I wasn't great. I hope and pray I'm playing when my team comes to town and we roll them.
Oh, wow, wow, wow. That is a statement. Mr. Anderson was also the lowest-rated quarterback in 2009, so good luck rolling anybody. Go Brady Quinn is what I have to say on that story. Brady Quinn, the Notre Dame alum. That's right. That's my boy. That is my big man crush on B. Quinn. So let me ask you guys this. Who is the most famous NFL football coach of all time? Number one. I would have to say Vince Lombardi. Absolutely. You're right. They're making a biopic of his life. Nice. And they've landed the greatest actor ever to play the greatest coach ever. Oh, Gary Oldman. Actually, it's going to be Robert De Niro. Oh, wow. De Niro is going to play Vince Lombardi. They're going to release this movie in between the conference championship and the Super Bowl in 2012. And I'm sure it's going to be awesome. I already think he's going to win an Oscar. I can't wait. And it's going to be called? Lombardi. Awesome. I wonder why they're calling it that. Awesome. It's very original. A lot more free agency movement. There was a good move yesterday that kind of caught my eye. Thomas Jones, who played for the Jets last year, had a great year, probably the most underappreciated running back in the league, I would have to imagine, has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, they're going to have a pretty solid one-two combo with Jamal Charles, who played at Texas. With him and Thomas Jones, they got Matt Castle.
They need a couple receivers, man, but it's starting to come together in KC. So I thought that was a pretty good move. Also, Jamal Williams, formerly of the Chargers, has signed a deal with the... Don't. Hated. Don't. Hated. Not the Raiders? Not the Raiders. Who? You can't even hate the Raiders anymore. No, the hated Denver Broncos. Division rival. That's super. Division rival. Great. Thanks. He'll have a Bronco in his helmet next year. Pretty big deal. He had $7 million guaranteed, $20 million overall. I don't ever want to hear sports again. I don't ever want to hear it again. It's getting ridiculous. Thanks for the memories. Sad. So do you guys know who this guy is a stud? And I've been so excited to see him throw. He was the number one overall pick, played at San Diego State. His name is Steven Strasburg. He's a San Diego native, hometown boy, made his major league debut yesterday in a spring training game for the Washington Nationals, unfortunately. You know, he's got as good a stuff as anybody. Funny, quick story. My neighbor's son played with him. Said in a practice game, he threw 103 miles an hour from the mound, which is just filthy. Are you kidding me? Yeah, so he made his major league debut yesterday against the Tigers through, of course, two scoreless innings. Here he is talking about the advice he's received before his debut. Cut one. You know, nothing really strange, you know.
We've got such great guys in the clubhouse here. I think the thing that they were stressing with me is just to go out there and have fun. This is a spring training game. First time being on the mound since the fall league. It's been a long time. I was just excited to get out there and face some big league hitters and see what I have. That dude is awesome. They're saying he's probably going to start the year in the minors, which is a good, good move. It ain't like the Nationals are winning anything. So they need to bring him along the right way, let him get some experience under his belt. But be looking for him, you know, August, September of next year. He's money. He's money. So did you guys hear about the NFL draft? They're kind of screwing it up. We talked, I think, a little bit about it. It's now starting on a Thursday, which is going to be tough for us because we're in bed early. We're not going to get to see all of it, probably half the first round. And they're going to drag it out for four days. So the San Diego Chargers will have a lot of work to do in this year's draft. They're trying to replace the likes of LT, Kasim Osgood, Jamal Williams, Antonio Cromartie. Here's A.J. Smith talking about this year's draft. Cut to. Yeah, it's a pretty good draft. There are always good drafts. I say that every year. There's a lot of good players for all of us to go out and get. But we're pretty excited about the level of players that they have. The rankings aren't done yet. We have plenty of time to do that.
But we'll make, hopefully, some good selections and bring some of those fine young men in here and make them charges. That dude's got his work cut out from in the draft, and that is Woods on Sports. Hey, Mikey, why don't you drop this in? It's my T.O. Chewy. Yeah, it's a pretty good draft. That's A.J. Spett. They're always good drafts. I say that every year. There's a lot of good players for all of us to go out and get. But we're pretty excited about the level of players that they have. The rankings aren't done yet. We have plenty of time to do that. But we'll make hopefully some good selections and bring some of those fine young men in here and make them chargers. Be one of those fine young men. It could be you. Come on, Mikey. You can do it. You know you can. Look at you, bro. You're 5'6", dude. You're not that young anymore either. I'm not. I've never played football in my life, Uncle Chew. Well, you played. You warmed the bench. I warmed the bench. No, I didn't actually play, though. Did you have a number? Yeah. Then you played. No, I sat on the sideline the entire time. I didn't even know how the game was played. I couldn't tell you who offense or defense was. Come on. You could kill some tamales, though. Tell them about that, dude. Don't get down on yourself. It's not like you're over-moisturized like woods, dude. Easy, dude. Why do I have to be brought into this? It's so true. Hey, by the way, what's going on with Pocahontas over there?
Talking about Sienna. You. What do you mean? What's up with your water moccasins, bro? What? My moccasins. What's wrong with them? Nothing if you're building a totem pole. They're comfortable. Smoking the peace pipe or what are you doing, man? We can go shopping. I'll get you a pair. Yeah, well, the only difference is I wear shoes, man. I don't wear, those look like slippers. These are shoes. It's like you're going to come bounding down the stairs waiting for presents on Christmas morning. They're comfortable. My seven-year-old wears slippers, man, but not out of the house. Well, you know what? They're comfortable. They have a hard sole, so they are a shoe. I have an idea. Maybe I can throw some slippers on and moisturize, and I'll get the best of both worlds. You should, Chewy. Just like us. I'll get the best of Woods and Sienna. That's not a bad idea. Yeah, it is. Oh, who's that? It's Lauren. Lauren. Oh, I could tell you were in the room. I smelled alfalfa sprouts. That must be lunch. How would you know what they smell like? I bet you've never even seen them. I pick them, dude. What are you talking about? All right? Fair enough. It's my summer job. Fair enough. Fair enough. Chili, don't get your feelings hurt. Who's the widow in the other room, man? It's Jay. He's a producer. He's an executive producer. Hey, is he the guy that Mikey got the poop jobs for?
The what? The poop drops. Yes, yes, he is. Put the little drops in there and then if anybody goes in there afterwards, you don't have to put up with the... Smell. Kill it. Poop drops are a good thing. That guy wrecks shop in the bathroom. Wrecks shop? Yeah. He wrecks a whole warehouse, bro. How you doing, Jay? I'm doing good, Chewy. I'm going to take you to some Mexican restaurants, man. Please don't. I'm in. Let's go. Sounds like we need to get the insides cleaned out. Maybe Lauren can bring you some hay from her lunchbox. Actually, hay has a lot of nutritional benefits. Yeah, well, you wouldn't know, man. You made a submarine sandwich out of me yesterday. Right? Hey, can you make me, maybe Subway will get on that $5 footlong of hay sandwiches, man. Yeah, maybe if you start picking that hay for me. $5 hay long. Hay long? Chewy, what if you really liked it? What if you really like hay? The haylong, yeah. Yeah, you know who likes hay? Who? Mr. Ed, bro. Well, obviously. He's a horse, dude. Yeah. He's a horse. What are you trying to say, though? I'm trying to say when you can eat healthy, man, but you're not supposed to eat feed, lot of stuff, man. Come on. You know what's going on. You're the same way, Jay. You know it, dude. A little. With your cucumber sandwiches, bro. Mmm, that does sound good. Mmm. Yeah, it sounds good if you're a horse, dude. That's it.
You know Jake does yoga. He does. Oh, no. Guy loves yoga, man. How come you like yoga so much, bro? It feels good to sweat and stretch out and, you know, loosens me up. It feels good to have your period, too, but that's a girl thing. You know what Jay told me he likes to do after he does an hour of the hot yoga? What? An hour of hot Maydoll. Mydoll. What's it called? I don't even know what it's called. I'm a guy, man. Mydoll is what women take when they're... Experiencing that time of the month, right? Yes, exactly, Chewy. Is that what it's called? Mydoll. No, Motrin, bro. I don't even know. Mydoll is a special one, but you can really take anything. That's right. That's my Uncle Chewy. He's hysterical. First day in there. T.O. Chewy, dude. T.O. Chewy. You know how it is. Don't try to go all white on me now. Because we're on the radio, you're going to call me your uncle, Chewy. Mikey's a coconut. That's right, man. He's brown on the outside. Hey, Mikey, prove to everybody how much Spanish you can speak. Say something to me in Spanish, bro. You know I can't. I don't speak a word of Spanish. You speak some Spanish. I've heard you say enchilada. Say enchilada for everybody and throw everybody in Chula Vista. Come on, let me hear you say it. Repeat after me. Enchilada.
He's doing it because he knows I can't speak a word of Spanish. Right. And so, that's my Tio Chewy. Yeah, Tio. He's a good dude. He just... Hey, Mike, did you bring some old pictures of yourself in? Chewy! He's embarrassing you, dude. Bring in some of those old pictures. You guys were talking about it yesterday. Everybody wants to see you in the parachute pants, man. That's true, actually. 100%. But he's right. He was so chubby when he was a kid. They were made from real bits of parachute pants. Is your uncle going to be in here all the time, Mike? I don't know, man. I mean, not if he's going to say that stuff. Julie, seriously. He's hardcore. He cuts to the quick. Yep. I'm telling you, man, when he wore those corduroy pants, he sounded like a needle scratching the record. You know what, though? He's not very PC, so it kind of sets the bar and allows us to just kind of throw some things out there. That is true. That is true. Maybe we could do that. 570-1949 is the number. And you could also text us 949mikey at gmail.com. So, Woodsy and I went and hit the sticks yesterday. Because we're going to do a little golf thing in a couple of weeks. So, Woodsy and I went out there and golfed a little bit yesterday. And Woodsy, of course, is freezing cold. Freezing!
Wind blowing. Cargo shorts were not keeping me warm at all. You shouldn't wear them. No, it was fun, man. We're going to get that thing going pretty soon. And you guys are Buka Di Beppo fans, Sienna and Lauren? Jay? Buka Di Beppo? I'm not a fan. Really? I love it. I do too. I love it. What's not to like? If you have it too much, you get a little worn out. I mean, it's a nice treat every once in a while. Delicious. What is, in terms of, you know, not the mom and pop stuff, but I'm talking like the chain restaurant. What is your guilty pleasure chain restaurant, Sienna? Oh, this is tough. Right on the spot. I love Sammy's Woodward Pizza. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Really good salads. Are there like four of them? No, there's a lot. There's like 12 in San Diego. My favorite, definitely Olive Garden because they have the best breadsticks. My wife disagrees, says it's Pat and Oscars, but it's okay for her to be wrong about something. Every now and then. Best breadstick is Olive Garden. Absolutely. By far. Never even been. You haven't? I need to. Never been to Olive Garden? No. Good. When you're there, you're family, Sienna. Oh, okay. I can't wait. Oh, there's a wheat and barley shop.
Yes, I'd say that Nuts and Grass is my favorite. Nuts and Grass. That's amazing. In there, it's fantastic. No, Olive Garden is mine, too. It's good. It really is. What's he got with? Yeah, dude. What? Chili's. Really? 100%. Chili's is good. Chicken crispers, a little corn on the cob, a little fries with a honey mustard dipping sauce. My mouth's watering right now. How about you, Jaybird? You know, I like Rubio's. Do you? Yeah. If it has to be chain Rubio's, just a good fish taco, man. It's true. 570-1949 on our text, 949mikey at gmail.com. And don't forget to check out the Mikey Show website, mikeyshow.com. And when you go there, you could actually, there's a few things that you can do. But one of the things that you can do is put your name in for a M1 backstage pass, which will allow you. On a Friday to come into the studio, hang out, get a catered breakfast and the whole thing. It's really, really cool. And I think you would like it a lot. So get in on that. So yesterday, Lauren goes to Target. She wants to grab some little bitty shirts for her niece, right? Yeah. For your boyfriend. For your boyfriend. That's right. No, he's got plenty. She needed some. Niece was born two days ago.
And she says, somehow I walked out with a rice cooker and a crock pot. Every time you go to Target, that's what happens. You didn't even have a basket, right? No, I just had them stacked up one on top of the other and barely could see over the boxes. That's fantastic. I love it. You do that, though, sometimes when you walk in there, you'll see something and it just, I got to have that. I'm going to have no use for it, but I got to have it. Every time. It's when you take someone's cart. Yeah. Most people have a Crock-Pot still in the box. It's in their, like, closet, but they still have it. So you were in there. You're walking around with them. And then you said that you can never walk out of there with what you intended, that you always walk out of there with an appliance or some kind of cleaning product, right? Yeah. It's true. It's true. You get that orange. You ever seen that stuff in the spray bottle, the orange spray stuff? Yep. I've never used it one time, but it's sitting right now. It looks really cool on the sink. Yep. I've got green. They have a whole section that's like the as seen on TV section. Brilliant. Oh, my goodness. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Oh, my goodness. Hey, Woodsy brought something up the other day that was really interesting to me, and that is when he was flying back from Dallas, because Woodsy's from Dallas, and went to visit his family. And he was saying that when he was flying back, there was just certain aspects of the flight.
that you felt like there should just be some certain etiquette that we all abide by. Yeah. Give me an example of one. Well, we actually, we talked about one yesterday about the guy that's got to get to the front of the plane. You know, we've just landed and he's got to be first to get out and he's in row 15. Right. But he's got to be the first. He's got his bag on his shoulder. He doesn't care who he knocks over. I call him the where's the fire guy. Yeah. Okay. Where's the fire, pal? We all got to get off. Yeah. They haven't even opened the door yet, but you got to be first. Uh-huh. That dude. I want to drag that guy outside sometimes. I do a weird thing on planes where I always wait until the cart with the stuff that, what do they call it? The service cart. Yeah. I'm the guy that always waits for the service cart to be in the aisle to decide that I have to go to the laboratory. You're that guy. I'm that guy. And you stand. And I stand there. And you walk three inches every minute or so. Yeah. And the flight attendant looks at me and smiles, and the smile says, oh, I hate your pants. You're an idiot. Oh, I wish we had a parachute that didn't work. You used your pants. Yes. I wish that you were still 12. And wearing your parachute pants. Wearing your parachute pants so we could push you out of here right now. But when nature calls for me on a plane, it's always then. And I'm skeeved out by lavatories and the blue water.
Is there anything worse than being in the window seat looking at the guy next to you who has his laptop open and he's obviously working and you're like, huh, I got to go to the bathroom. He's got the tray down. Yeah, he's dead asleep. You're like, this is going to suck. I've got to get out. There's two people I'm going to infuriate. Yeah. But if not, I'm going to have an accident. Right. Yeah. Laptop guy has to fold his laptop closed. He put the tray up. He's like the laptop on his lap. And you've got to squeeze out. You know what makes it worse? Laptop guy has his laptop open. And next to his laptop, he's got a little plastic cup with Coke in it and ice. And on the other side of that, he's got his little peanuts. And so now he's got to move his Coke and his peanuts and his laptop. And then after you get through that hate fence.
Then you got to get through the hate fence of the guy that's sleeping that you have to wake up to get out. And then you have to come back and do it all again. All over again. I always try to step over the guy that's sleeping. He wakes up and you're like right over him kind of. It's like uncomfortable. You do yoga. I do not. I can't lift my leg that high to get over that dude. And then you're pulling on the chair of the person in front of him to try to shimmy yourself over. Yeah. And when you get back from using the lavatory, You're dreading those final steps to getting back to your seat. It's the worst. Because by that time, the guy... I'm back. By that time, the guy... Yeah, and you do the thing with the hands. Everybody does the thing with the... I'm back. Hi. The little waves of both hands. Hi. And by the time you get back, the guy on the aisle seat had finally fallen back to sleep. Hang back. We'll talk about it later. A little tiny shoulder tap. I made a big mistake on the plane the other day. You did? Yes. 570-1949. What do you hate about flying? What should be banned? I have so many things. Light it up, phones. Who's that guy? Who's that girl on the plane that makes you cuckoo? 570-1949. Or if you're too shy to call.

This report brought to you by the Port of San Diego. Sail away from San Diego with Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America, Celebrity, or Royal Caribbean. For a list of departures, check out SanDiegoCruisePort.com. I'm Stacey Cohen, FM 94.9. Financial media station, the new home of the Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. It's deciphered down. The song's called Fading. It's from their latest album. Just some of the text messages that we're getting at 949mikey at gmail.com. Mikey, what about the guy or girl that won't stop talking to you even when you're obviously reading a book or magazine? Yep. And you have your headphones on and you're listening to music. They feel the need to tell you every little thing about themselves and their lives, where they're going, and everything. It's M1 Night Scream.
Let's see. This one says, Mikey, how about when you're flying at night and studious guy has to turn on the bright overhead light. Oh, it's not that bright. And he says, get. Yeah, get. That's M1 child, please. What if you can't sleep and you want to read? I think, is there any adjusting of the light? No. Nope. Not that bright, though. He should bring, you know, because some people are like, you're like that, Mike. You need total darkness to sleep. They should bring their little eye. Pads. They're little... Yeah, I have little blinders. I have little blinders. I have little... Tiny, tiny little blinders. Can we please get rid of the people who take their shoes off online? Oh, dude. Leave your freaking shoes on. My feet don't stink. I don't want to smell your foot odor. That's what everyone says. Of course they don't. Not to you. No one's going to be like, my feet stink. Write that down. No one's going to say that. That doesn't have to do with me. You're right.
No one's going to say that, but my feet really don't stink. Sure, they don't. They may to someone else. People with stinky feet know they have stinky feet. Don't they? I think so. You know those shoes that the girls wear? They're like little ballerina slippers that all girls wear now, and you wear them with no socks? Oh, that's filthy. Do not go anywhere near those. That's filthy. Don't go anywhere near those little things. How about onion sandwich guy on the plane? Yeah, you know what? I'm going to get a sandwich. I'm going to get a sandwich and I'm not going to eat it in the terminal. What I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and take it on the plane when we're in a really confined tube. Who wants to save it? We're going to go to 35,000 feet. Then I'm going to unwrap my onion sandwich for everybody to enjoy. I'm not going to say any names. I know that there's one of us that does that. I'm not going to say any names. Sitting next to her. Her initials are Lauren O'Brien. Yes. Eat it in the terminal. Nobody wants to smell your feet food. Sometimes you don't have time. The only thing worse, Lauren, than your onion sandwich is KFC guy. Oh, dude. Why is that bad? Because it stinks. It makes you hungry and wanting it. There is no ventilation. I mean, hey, listen. I did snuff on the plane, okay? So I'm the guy that blows the snuff smell at the dude. If he's sitting next to me, I'm like this. Oh. Yeah.
They sell sandwiches on the plane. No, they do not. Yes, they do. Coast to coast, they do. Who flies coast to coast? I didn't know coast to coast was in an airline. On coast to coast airlines, they do. When you fly across the country, there's... usually food offered. It's not for free. Cool. So don't bring your onion sandwich with you. It's so smelly. It's so smelly. Like some dude last time was eating like chicken cacciatore or something that he brought himself. M1 Mike, are you there? I am. Go ahead. Yeah, this is Mike. I do fly actually across the country a lot and the thing that drives me nuts, you guys are talking about people getting off the plane who try to rush to the front. can't for some reason anticipate getting off the plane and just sit there. For some reason. And then they decide, oh, maybe I should get my bag out of the overhead bin and put my phone on and put my jacket on. And you're sitting there watching for two minutes, no one getting off the plane. Yep. Yep. Holding up the whole plane. That's 100% true. Thank you, bro. What about the ones that hit you in the head when they bring the bag?
Out of the overhead. Yep. I almost got a girl this last weekend. You did? Oh, I felt bad. Because it was so heavy, right? Yeah. How about a guy that has to check his bag or has to carry his bag on? It's giant. Like it barely fits and he's looking and he can't find a spot. And then he's trying to gym it in the thing. I'm an annoying... Are you? I'm not that one, but I'll tell you what I am. I'm... has to get to my bag in the overhead during the flight guy. Oh, dude, you're the worst. What you need goes under the seat, Mike. You are the worst. I'm the worst. I don't think you're the worst. That's the worst. Once it's up there, it stays up there. Hey, you know what? Throw a backpack on. Put everything you need in that backpack. Lauren, you don't think I'm annoying when you're sitting there. I have a magazine in there. God. Mikey! I do. And then it takes me so much time, too. Like, I open the thing, and it's always one of these deals where my bag is wedged in there so tight that I'm like...
I'm sorry. Excuse me. On your tippy toes? Yeah, on my tippy toes because it's nine feet tall. You're on Rebecca's shoulders? Yeah. Standing on the seat. I have the airline attendant get me an apple crate to stand on. Yes. Oh, dude. Please don't do that anymore. All right. Well, I don't know if everybody knows this, but San Diego has a curfew for how late you can land at the airport. Really? Yeah. So like I said, I've done a lot of those coast to coast flights. So sometimes when you leave your departing city and you're coming into San Diego, you have to leave by a certain time. Yeah. Or else you can't get out. Or maybe I'm mixing up. I don't know. There's a curfew either way. Right. But anyway, there's this time constraint on like in the air. The flight attendants are getting all like frazzled and they're like, we got to get out. We got to get out. Right. And. This one time we were waiting for a couple because they had a connecting flight and the airline decided they were going to wait for them. So they had to wait and we're sitting on the tarmac for like an hour waiting for these people to come in.
And they're like, okay, they're here. They've got to get settled, this and that. And so the guy comes on, and he's like, well, I need a spot for this bag. And he's like trying to get, and they're like, sir, everything is filled up. If you will just give that to me. We need you in your seat, so we cannot take off until you're in your seat. We've got three minutes. And he's like, well, I'm just going to, well, I've got to. So he finally sits down, and then he's like, oh, wait, I need my book. Mr. Esparza, please take your seat, right? Mr. Esparza, sit. Well, he gets out of his seat and goes up to where the flight attendant is to go get his book. Oh, dude. And some guy, another passenger goes, dude, sit down. And everybody starts going, yeah. That would have been me. And me. 100%. Hey, pal, grab a seat. We've only been waiting an hour. An hour, bro. Oh, it's so heated. My sister and I were like, we're sitting. like in opposite rows looking at each other and we're trying so hard not to just bust out laughing. I would have died. He was sitting right in front of us. It was so awkward. I can't believe the airline waited for them. I know.
I know it. I never even knew that they would do something like that. Well, I think it was the last flight out of the city, and they were going to have to wait until the next day. So I think that there was a courtesy window. Maybe I'm exaggerating. Maybe it wasn't an hour. Maybe it was like a half an hour on the tarmac. Still, I'm impressed that they waited. How about bag too big guy? Yeah, we did that. Oh, man, I need to pay attention to the show sometimes. I always have a bag too big. I got questioned this last weekend by a flight attendant when I was walking into the tunnel. Check it. This turned into a fight, actually. Check it. No, I don't want to check my bag. They lose my luggage every time. So I had my laptop bag, a little purse, my purse, the laptop purse, and a roll-on. And you're only allowed a purse and a roll-on. Isn't it their fault for letting you in? Well, I got to the gate. Yeah, I was at the gate. And the girl was like, excuse me, miss, you have too many things. And Todd and I looked at each other and I was like, we're already here. We're not checking. You're going to need to check it. You're going to need to check your stuff. You have too many bags. And I said, I was like, are you kidding me? We already were at the gate. I'm walking through the tunnel to get on the plane. And she's like, I'm going to need to take that. Where's your destination? And we had to change flights. And so Todd and I were like, no, Todd, grab my regular purse.
shoved it in my suitcase. My suitcase was filled. How he did that, I have no idea. And he was like, in your face. Wow. I'm not even kidding you. It was the greatest moment of my life. Hey, man, if they let you through, they let you through. Yeah. I get so furious with that. They make you, like, gate check it and put it under the plane. You're like, I made it this far. Yeah, it was because it was a full flight. And I was like, look, it's not my problem. Yeah. Overbooked it. M1 John? Yeah, I'm here. Tell me what guy makes you crazy on a flight. Ever since I was real little, I've always flown coast to coast, and I've flown from all the different states and everything. And what always drives me insane is as soon as the plane touches ground, then they get on their cell phones, and all you hear is a roar of people yelling and screaming and talking. Yep. You have to tell your people that you've landed. Yeah, you're sickling. Yeah. And that's always what it is. You hear the same thing all throughout the play. Hey, we just landed. We just landed. We good? You got everything lined up? All right. Pick me up and be outside in 10. You know what else is interesting about that phone call is that you always run through the same directions that you've given them 90 times. Like it's going to be different this time. Hey, babe, you know how I always say I'll meet you right out front? This time I've decided meet me at the Sheraton two miles from here.
Like, of course I'll meet you out front where I always meet you every time. I'll play and get my bags. Yeah. Yeah. I told you I was on Southwest, right? You knew that? We're here. We're here. Yeah, I know. I'm sitting right outside baggage claim. All right. Well, I didn't check my bag. I know you told me. I got to go. Everyone's training it off the plane. I got to go. I got to go. I love you, too. Bye. So, Mikey, not only we've all realized that customers and passengers are super annoying. Right. The schtick from the flight attendants. If I wanted to go to a comedy show, I'd go to the improv. Oh, man. Okay? You don't like the Southwest jokes? No, I don't. Are you kidding me? I don't need to go see Red Fox on my plane, dude, okay? Richard Pryor. Hey, Dane Cook, can we just get the clean one? Yeah, just get the flight out, please. I don't need to hear your bits, okay? Don't sing me a song. Don't sing me a song. Don't try to be funny. Wait, you don't want a parody of... She'll be riding six right horses. No, I don't. Wow. It's serious business flying, dude. Okay? Yeah. It makes me really uncomfortable. I don't need your shtick. M1 Sean. Sean, are you there? You guys remember Sean, our sound effects guy? I miss him. He was really great. I was like, Sean? Sean, are you there? Can you hear me? Yeah, go ahead. So, this is a little different. You guys are talking about other people on the flight with you, but what about the lady when you're checking your bags and you've got two bags?
And one of them is like 52 pounds and the other one is like 40. And they always give you that weird look like, you know, you're going to have to move. Right. Into that other bag. Dude, I'm giving you two bags. Yeah. Instead of taking the average, they make you take the two pounds out of the 52 and put it into the 42. And you're holding up everybody behind you. Yeah. Looking at their watches and you're like, dude, it's not my fault. I know. You're yelling at your wife. Just do it. I told you not to pack so much. Why'd you bring this? Why do we do this every time? I need it. I need it. It's cold there. Put it in the other bag. But I need it now. I lose my mind at the airport. It didn't fit in the other bag. I lose my mind. My wife gets, my wife gets, she has so much patience, my wife, with the ridiculous things that I'll take. I have like an eight pound. iPod player that you plug in. The speakers. It's like eight pounds. She's like, babe, really? You're bringing the surround sound? You're taking the surround sound? You're bringing our 75-inch TV with you. You need it for the hotel room. I take my own pillow. Mikey. I do. That's a girl thing. I do. That's a girl thing. That's a girl thing. It's a girl thing and a Mikey thing. It's so annoying. I do that.
How many people have thought that their relationship was going to end at the airport? The biggest fights Jamie and I have ever had have been at the airport. Without question. Where we didn't speak for days after. Days. I told you. How many times have the words I told you been said at an airport? Every time. You know what gives me heart palpitations? Watching families with kids traveling. And I'm seeing the dad pushing a stroller, pulling a cart with 12 suitcases on it. There's three kids. Mommy, mommy. And I'm like. One strapped on his chest. I'm never going to be able to do this. Because then you've got to fold the stroller. You've got to get all that stuff through security. You've got to get the kids through security. You've got to buy their tickets. I'm like. Never. Never, ever. You've got to get there eight hours early. Dude, seriously. Let me tell you. I'm always the overstressed guy. And Rebecca is the I will remain calm but I'm furious with how you're acting like a child right now, lady. And so I'll be like, babe, the thing doesn't. And she goes, babe, Rebecca, I just called her babe. Rebecca will go, fold it in the middle. I wish I could do that. Pull up on the red handle. But she's glaring at you. Yeah. She's looking, like she's saying it through gritted teeth. Pull up on the middle part. Pull up on the red middle part. And I'm like, babe, it doesn't work. I just tried pulling on the red thing. And then I pull lightly and it goes just so easily. It works perfectly. And I'm like, no, I blame. I'm like, gosh, this thing is so stupid.
The worst. Rebecca seems like she just has it together. She's an angel. She stays so calm. She just gets it. She stays so calm. She does. I saw her last night. She was an angel. Yeah. She's got eight kids in her. She's an octomom. She's an octomom with eight kids screaming in her arms. And I'm like, babe, babe. No doubt you're the biggest one. Yeah. And she goes, just all you need to do is just calm down. She's so calm. She calms me down. And that's how good she is. She's very calming. This text message from M1 Local says, Mikey, what about the parent who won't stop their child from kicking the back of your chair? Oh, my goodness. Don't they see them kicking the back? Don't they see that? And they don't think to go, don't kick the back of the chair. How do you not think about that? I've turned around and said something to the parent before. You do? Well, yes. Absolutely. If it's going on the whole time, I finally will turn around. What's it sound like? I was in Europe when I did it, too, and they didn't speak English, and you sure did hurt. I was trying to say it in Spanish, and I was like, por favor, tu niño. In Europe? No tiki de vaca mi chedi. I went abroad in Spain, and so I, like, traveled around a lot. You're abroad here. You don't necessarily turn into abroad when you go to Spain. I know, I know. I studied abroad.
And, yeah, no, I can't deal with it. It's going to ruin my time. The kid needs to stop. I think that the kid that peeks through the thing is cute. Oh, yeah. When you're behind them. He's super cute. And that kid peeks through the crack. Yeah. I like that because we're getting some text messages from people that go, I don't like that kid. Love that kid. I like that. Sometimes it goes a little bit too. Because how many times can you go, hey, bud? Yeah. Hey, bud. Well, you play peek-a-boo. Yeah, but don't you get dirty looks from the parents sometimes? Hey, creep, stop peekabooing my kid, okay? No, I love kids, man. I really do. I'm sure you do. Turn around. Lauren kind of has a point. Like, sometimes the peekaboo can last for 20 hours. You have to keep going or else they're like, why'd they stop? The parent stands up and they're like, can you not stop playing peekaboo? You started playing peekaboo. Please keep playing peekaboo. I'll tell you the worst person in the world to fly with. Guy's name is Gary Woods, and he's my father. Yeah. And he's the guy where if somebody even touches the back of his seat, he's this guy. Over the shoulder. Turns around and glares. If somebody walks by and grazes his foot, he's like, ah, come on, man. It's mortifying. I put a blanket over my head when I fly with my dad. That's awesome. It's hysterical. Love you, Dad. The Incorporator is next, by the way. Look at Woodsy. Start slamming those tums.
What's going to do? What are we going to do, Jay? What kind of place are we going to call? We're calling a fabric store. Oh, I love it. Fabric and craft shop. I love it. We're going to call a fabric and craft shop in the middle of nowhere. Woodsy is going to talk to this person and incorporate some very simple words and phrases in. So right now, what we want you to do is call us with those words and phrases. It's a challenge to the guy. He's got to incorporate these words. Is it a challenge? Sometimes I see your heart beating out of your chest. It makes me crazy. You get it done. You get it done. But you got to call it. Now, here's the kind of word. We're looking for random words and phrases. But common in that you've heard them before. For instance. Top of the morning. Top of the morning to you.
What you don't want to say is anything that will be confrontational because you can't really work confrontation into. I just got a really good one. What, what, what? Well, I don't want to say it because I want to use it. All right. We'll wait until he leaves. But we've used Breakfast at Tiffany's, Panther, you know. The movie bits are tough. Yeah. Whatever. No, it's a common phrase. Yeah, common phrases. Breakfast at Tiffany's is a movie. Common phrases. That's what we would love. Ferris Bueller's Day Off, I had to do. That's a movie. And it's tough. I mean, it's not tough. It just doesn't gel well. And it's not that funny. It's not funny. We want those. Panther is funny. Panther's funny because it's like, how's he going to work that in? Panther. Or Stagecoach. Exactly. Stagecoach. That's perfect. You know? I mean, if you do that, it's going to be funny. Call us right now. 570-1949. Or text us, 949mikey at gmail.com. We'll take your phone calls. We'll get your phrases. We'll get what you want. Urge. Urge. Call us, 570-1949. The Incorporator is next. If you've never heard it, you're in for a treat. Tasty stuff, keeps you fueled up and energized, and it's refreshing, so give it a go. Surf-wise today, looking at a lot of what we saw yesterday, just a bit cleaner, remnant, wind-swell, ground-swell combination out there. Lots of size, chest, shoulder, head highs, overhead sets, but still really discombobulated, broken up, and shifty.
You might be able to grab a corner here and there off some of the structured areas or the reefs at the right times and tides, but it's going to be a lot of work. It is trying to clean up, though. We are getting some incredible phone calls and incredible texts for The Incorporator. If you've never heard The Incorporator, let me tell you something. It was when he worked in said office environment that it would kind of get a little bit boring when he was on sales calls. And so one of the things that the guys used to do in order to keep themselves entertained is while Woods was on a sales call, they would give him words.
To incorporate into the conversation. And so we now do it on the air. We're going to call a place out in the middle of nowhere. And it's going to be a crafts place. Fabric. Fabric and crafts kind of place. And Woods is going to have a conversation with them about crafts. Ask questions about crafts. Ask questions about all that kind of stuff. And he is going to. have to incorporate words that you call us at 5701-949 or text us at 949mikey at gmail.com. He will have to incorporate your words that you give us into a sentence. He's going to leave the room while we gather them. Ready? Not yet. Okay. Not yet. Because first I want to cover a couple of things. Number one, Sienna, big breaking news this morning. Yeah.
What is it? Corey Haim was found dead this morning. He was taken to the hospital before 4 a.m. And the LAPD has said his death has appeared to be an accidental drug overdose. Wow. So you may remember the Corey's big show in the 80s. You know, they were in License to Drive, The Lost Boys, and Corey Haim is dead at the age of 38. Breaking news from this morning. Hey, look at that. It's one of the interns here in the station. It's Susanna. She's got a big... What do you got there, Susanna? What is that? Hey, guys. How are you? Hi, Susanna. Hi, Woods. Hi. Sweetie. Oh, man. Oh, wow. I brought some breakfast for everybody. It's hard to understand her. She's sometimes, she's got the retainer in. Yeah. But it's getting better, right, guys? Yeah, a little bit. It's definitely getting better. Suzanne is a beautiful girl, by the way. She looks like a model. Stunning. Oh, thank you. She works in our, she's an intern, I guess, in our accounting department. Is that the deal? Yes, that's right. In the accounting department. She's a big fan of the show.
Big fan of our show. Big fan of the show. Particularly Woods. Yeah, my favorite bits are Woods and Sports, Incorporated, of course, and Dude, You're Dumb. And Dude, You're Dumb. Is that what you said? Yeah. Can you take the thing out? Oh, sorry. Yeah, I said Woods and Sports, The Incorporated, and Dude, You're Dumb. Yeah, you like those. Those are your favorites. Yeah. Yeah. Good. Thank you. They all have to do with Woods. What did you... Weird. It's kind of strange. Weird. All stuff on Woods. What did you bring, Susanna? I brought some breakfast for everybody. Is it okay if I put this back in? Put the retainer back in? Yeah. Yeah, I think you probably should because it's good for your teeth. Okay. Go ahead. Okay. So I just got a little breakfast burrito for everybody. But Woods, I want you to have some special strength. What did you get me? She has a bag of burritos for us and then she has something special for you. What is it? This is a spinach pesto scramble benedict. Holy cow, what? I didn't catch a word. Take your retainer out and tell us what that is. It's a spinach pesto scramble benedict.
Made from scratch. Sounds amazing. Yeah. Wow. I think you needed some strength. You just made this? Actually, I started working on it last night. Oh, look. She just moved her blonde hair right out of the way. She said that. Flipped her hair. Flipped her hair out of the way. She's great. Well, thanks for our breakfast burritos that you just picked up. You should probably keep the retainer in because it's good. Okay. Sorry. This is delicious. That looks great. Spinach pesto scrambled Benedict. So, anyways, you guys enjoy this breakfast breakfast. Woods, just give me some feedback on what you think of. Oh, I will. I will. Thank you. Yeah, give her some feedback on that. Thank you. I appreciate it. Good luck today. I'll be listening. Thank you. Thanks, Susanna. Bye, guys. Bye, Susanna. Bye, Woods. Bye, Han. That was really nice of her. She takes good care of the kid. Yeah, she really does, doesn't she? I don't understand. So, Woodsy, you have to leave the room now. Okay. Woodsy's going to leave the room. and we are going to start taking your phone calls and getting these words. Now, what I'm going to do is, what I'm going to do is, okay, he's done. Sienna, give me one. I'm going to take one from you. Who let the dogs out? That'll be the last one. That'll be the last one. I love it. All right, let's take some calls. Okay. M1, Sean Cho. Yeah, dude. What do you like? Dilly-dallying. Love it. Dilly-dallying.
M1 Bolt Fan. What's up, Mikey? Vegas, baby. Love it. Got it. M1 Matt. Paddy Wagon. That's a good one. M1 Bookworm. Banana Hammock. Yes. That's funny. My favorite. I love that one. Got it. And Woods is going to have to incorporate all these things into the conversation. M1 Kyle. Princess Leia Organa. Princess Leia. I'm just going to go with Princess Leia. All right. Thank you. And M1, Cecilia. I was driving around Valley Center and I saw an emu. The animal. Yeah. An emu. Yeah. Okay. You actually saw an emu? Yeah, in Valley Center. Awesome. Got it. Got it. Some of the text messages that we're getting. We got the word.
That's good. He's standing out there staring at me, so I don't want him to read my lips. Cover your mouth. Yeah, it's like I'm a coach in the NFL. I'm holding the clipboard up in front of my face so that he can't see my mouth. We also got junk in the trunk. Yes. Good. And we got eat, drink, and be merry. Dave Matthews. Eat, drink, and be merry. All right, so he has to incorporate all of those into a sentence. How many? Can you go over the list? Yep. There's ten of them. Dilly-dallying, Vegas Baby, Paddy Wagon, Banana Hammock, Princess Leia, Emu, Pickles, Junk in the Trunk, Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, and Who Let the Dogs Out. All right, Woodsy, come on in. He was waiting out there like a little boy. I know it. Waiting to open his Christmas presents. I know. Hi, Wood. Hi, let me spit my stuff out. Let's probably get in. That's disgusting. He's spitting a cup. Now, I need to let the listeners know. I need to let listeners know that the caller is only going to be able to hear Woodsy. The person that we are calling is only going to be able to hear Woodsy. Because Mike is going to feed Woodsy the words. I'm going to feed Woodsy the words. They won't hear me feeding them the words. They all have no idea. Go ahead, Jay. Craft store. Fabric and crafts, right? Yep. Hope you know a lot about fabric, my friend. I know enough.
Got any plaid? Take it away, Woodsy. Cue for the words. It's your first dilly-dallying. Joanna's Fabric and Craft Store. Hey, Joanna. My name is Steve, and I've got a couple of questions for you. I was dilly-dallying around this morning, and you guys sell a lot of crafts and things. It's really, I'm kind of embarrassed to admit it. It's kind of something I've been wanting to get into lately. Vegas, baby. Okay, great. I can help you. Good, good. So what types, I'm assuming you guys have all kinds of fabrics and stuff there, right? Yes, yep. Pretty much anything you're looking for, I can help you find. Good, good. Well, I was on, I had a bachelor party recently, and, you know, we did the whole road trip out to Vegas. You know, we're in a convertible, we're screaming, Vegas, baby, the whole time we're out there. And I was talking over some buddies, we're getting a little older, and I was like, we got to stop doing stuff like this.
I would try to get more into some things that would keep me home, like arts and crafts and things like that. Okay. Yeah, it was a wild trip. I got thrown in the paddy wagon, and I just really decided it was time to make some changes. So crafts is definitely something I am exploring. I'm sure you don't get calls like that all the time. No, I don't. What kinds of crafts did you have in mind? Well, there's some fabrics. It's interesting. Undergarments, I guess is the best way to put it. And she makes my boxer shorts, like homemade boxer shorts. I kind of want something more form-fitting, kind of like a banana hammock. Are you familiar with that term? Princess Leia. Yes, I think I can put it together what that one might be. Yeah, well, it's a little crass, but, you know, it is what it is. So I'm looking for some really good and soft fabric.
The movie Star Wars. There's a character named Princess Leia. She wears these long, elegant robes. And, you know, I was watching it last week and I thought, that's what I want my banana hammock to look like. It's made out of that fabric. It's probably like a velvet or like a velour. Do you guys sell that stuff? Yes. There's several different types of velvet and velour. Kind of like if you picture like... maybe an 80s jumpsuit that's made out of that velour. It's very soft. It comes in a lot of different colors. That might be exactly what you're looking for. That could be it. And I want to get down there today. I've got to take, I'm supposed to take my daughter to the zoo. She loves the animals. She loves emus, lions, you know, tigers, all that stuff. So I'm a little bit pressed for time. How late are you guys open today? We're open until 7 p.m. Okay. Well, I'm eating a sandwich right now. I'm having a little turkey sandwich with chips and pickles. I'm going to take her to the zoo. I'm going to try to get down there today. Can I ask for you specifically? Yes, please. I'm Joanna. I'm the owner of the store, so please just come in and ask for me, and I'll help you find whatever type of fabrics you're looking for for your craft.
Okay, yeah, the whole family is going to go out to the zoo today. We're going to get a little walking and get a little exercise. My wife, she's packed on a few pounds, got a little junk in the trunk, and we need to really, really walk off some of this food. And I'm going to get out there today, and I really want to sit down with you and kind of go over some things. Okay, okay. Okay. That sounds good. Well, I really appreciate your time. And, you know, eat, drink, and be merry. And I'll see you later this afternoon. Okay. Thanks for the call. Thank you so much. That's fantastic. Well done. So tough, dude. Well done, my friend. We missed. We missed one. Don't say what it is. We shouldn't say it. We got to save it, right? I want to save it, dude. Wow. I didn't know really how long you wanted me to go on. I know, I know. That was a really good way to wrap that up. That was perfect. Holy cow. Banana! Oh, my gosh. Toughest incorporator yet. What was the toughest word for you? Junk in the trunk. Junk in the trunk. No question. Because I said it, and Woodsy gave me that. He mouthed. I actually mouthed, oh, something else. I thought you were going to go with the more literal, like, oh, you know, I'll just clear it out. I got some junk in the trunk. I could have done that. I could have done that. For some reason, I thought. I was hoping, because she was, like, saying who she was. And just look for me. Just ask for me. And I really wanted you to be like.
Oh, yeah, hopefully you're the one with the junk in the truck. See, I just, right? I just. She'd be like, oh, oh, oh, wow. Yeah, I didn't want to insult her. We were in the audience. I didn't want to insult her. It was fantastic. Thank you very much. Good job. 570-1949 is our number. 949mikey at gmail.com if you would like to text us for any reason whatsoever. That was great. Oh, that was fantastic. I had to go. Squat on the floor and cover my mouth when he got to banana. She was like, okay. When you said, when Mikey said banana, I was like, no. I know. No. I know. It is so great. I didn't want to look at you. I had to turn around. Oh, I love it. I love it. You're never going to believe what we have audio of. I got audio of a new song by Billy Corgan. Oh, cool. Well, it's Billy Corgan and Jessica Simpson. Oh, not so cool. Love her. At all. Well, you know they're dating, right? That's what the word is. I just saw Billy Corgan's street cred run by the studio on an emu. Yeah, on an emu. I don't think they've confirmed it, though. See you later. No, they haven't. Well, what she said when her song was debuted, she said that he's a very, very dear friend. I hope we can do more music together.
I have some of them. That's a double entendre. They can make beautiful music together. Well, they worked on this song for her new show, which is on VH1. It comes out March 15th. It's called The Price of Beauty. Yeah. And so this is going to be the theme song. Yeah. You want to hear it? I'm dying to hear it. Already? Already. Why already? Because it's Jessica Simpson. Okay. It sounds very nasally. It's bad. The time is hard to know who we are. We are. Billy, Billy, Billy, Billy, Billy. Is Billy doing anything on there yet? I hope so. He's the producer. Oh, he produced. Yeah, I think he produced that. Oh, so he doesn't sing or play on it. I want to hear him sing. All right. Maybe he will. Is that him on harmonies? I have a quick question. What? Fire away. What genre of music is this?
I think it's under garbage. Country. Country? No. Pop. Pop? Really? I thought she turned the country leaf. It's pop crap, I think, is what it's called. I can't tell the genre. I don't know if it's pop. Top 40. It's the repeat style. Does Ashley Simpson sound like Stevie Nicks? Mikey likes it. No. No, no, no. It's not good. Is that a completed work? That was the release. It's GarageBand. Because I'm wondering if that's... Karaoke style. Well, there was a part of me that goes, well, I wonder if maybe it isn't the final. I don't know. We can hope. Even for me to say that's bad, it's going to really be bad. Seriously. See, everything, I always try to go, I'm going to listen to this with an open mind. I'm going to try to pretend that I don't know what it is. I'm just hearing a record for the first time. I'm going to give my impressions on what I'm hearing. But I can't tell. Part of the confusion for me is.
I can't tell what type of music I'm listening to, which always makes me uncomfortable. You have to have it classified. I kind of do want to know what I'm listening to. Her voice sounds out of practice, or it doesn't sound as good as I remember. No. It doesn't sound like there's an autotune. So you're out immediately. Somebody just stepped on a cat's tail. I think we get the idea. She's not a good singer. She does not have a good voice. You're not a fan. No. I mean, I think she's hot, but I don't think she's a good singer. Yeah. I don't know. Some of the stuff I've heard her in, I think she's all right, but that I don't understand. And I thought that there was a couple of notes that were a little sharp. A couple, like the whole thing. It was a little pitchy, dog. Yeah. Thank you, Randy. Absolutely horrendous. Thanks, Simon. Simon speaks the truth. Thanks, Woods. Not Paula. Oh. Paula's not there anymore.
I watched Idol last night, actually. I haven't seen it in weeks. And the girls, I'm just going to go ahead and say it. Not good this year. I disagree. You do, Neil? This is Neil Diamond. Hey, Neil. I disagree. I actually watched a couple of seconds of American Idol last night. And then I realized, no, this is Matlock. I watch this every night at 9 before I take my pills and go to sleep. I could see how you would make that mistake. Yeah, for sure. Hey, Neil, would it be cool if we play a little bit from last night's American Idol and you give us your thoughts on it? Sure, sure. Let's do that right now. Play something. Let me hear it. This is from last night's American Idol. This is Katie singing Breakaway. This is the young girl that you love. 16 years old. Yeah, I like this girl. That sounded really creepy. It's true. Sorry, Mike. Pause it, pause it, pause it. Can I play my flute? Please. That's not really what the judges do. What if I accompanied her? Okay. Neil is a flautist. We've learned this, and he's quite talented. That's right. I'm a flautist. Don't copy me. Listen to me, Blondie. I've told you I don't like to copy him. I will leave. I will leave this studio. Stop it. Stop it.
Okay, I'm sorry. Keep going. Thank you. I told you to stop it. Okay, I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. Promise. Promise me. Okay, I promise. Thank you. It's beautiful. First of all, Sienna, why are they laughing at me? I don't understand why they are. It's beautiful, right? It's gorgeous. You're the only one that gets me on the whole show. I know. It infuriates me. The blonde's always... Mimicking me. Lauren likes to copy. She's mimicking and doing the copy. Yeah. Nickname is Xerox over there. Oh, uh-oh. I'm going to do this again, but I... Stop it! Not copy me. That's it. All right, fine. I'm telling you. I'm going to... Sienna, you either stop them... Give me that guitar. Give me the guitar. Get it out of here. Look, he just threw your guitar. Dude, that's my Taylor guitar. Don't mess with that.
play my flute. That was better. Sure he has a band, dude. This is beautiful. That was really good, Neil. Not bad, Neil. You get that high part really nicely. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. Don't. I said don't copy me. You guys are like six-year-olds. She's like a six-year-old. Neil, you just ignore it. I can't. It's okay, Neil. Just play the flute. I can't. Stop. It's like Neil's talking in harmony. He's got Lauren's harmony right there with him. I'm going to make you a promise. What? If she keeps copying me, I'm not coming back. You need to come back. I can't take it. Neil.
Stop it. Stop it. Let it go. I'm a big giant dummy. I got you, didn't I? I got you. Okay, you got me. It's classic. Tell me what song that night. Okay. Woods. Go ahead, Woods. Spoon got nothing. No, it wasn't Spoon got nothing. Is this a new Jessica Simpson song? No. It's not. Sienna. 50 Cent, it's your birthday. Of course. Every time. It's your birthday. You can hear that. She gets it. I hear it now. I got it. It was dead on. It was dead on. Man. I can't believe I messed that up. What's your problem? I thought it was Spoon. Thank you, Uncle Neil. See you, Neil. If you keep copying. All right. I'm leaving. Andy Richter. Conan O'Brien's sidekick.

Me too. Love it. I'll give you $10 if you can name three Van Halen songs. You sang one yesterday. Sienna. I sang one yesterday? Yes. Panama. That's one. There you go. Wood sucks. No, that's two. And I love the Mikey show. There you go. That one is. You owe me $10. Okay. I never agreed to it. I never said okay. There was no shake involved. It wasn't a bet. Andy Richter. Conan O'Brien's... well, now former sidekick, since neither of them are on TV, he went on Regis and Kelly. And they asked him about the whole thing, and he didn't really hold back about his thoughts on NBC. Do you have any ill feelings towards NBC and Jay? Not that you're going to be honest, but go for it. Yes. Yes, I do. Why wouldn't I? I mean, my God, I'd be like... I'd be like some sort of self-hater. Sage Andy Richter. No, I mean, NBC, definitely. Everybody said they were going to do something, and then they didn't. Right. You know, they all said years ago, we're going to do something, and then they didn't. He's right. Yep. He's right. They said that they were going to do this thing with Conan O'Brien. Conan O'Brien was the heir apparent for The Tonight Show. He went on there, nailed it, killed it. He was awesome.
doing what we do for a living, we have the opportunity to hear all the late-night talk show hosts. Conan consistently was the funniest. Consistently was the funniest. In fact, the reason I liked his humor the most was because it was always the stuff that caught me by surprise. I didn't see it coming. I never saw the punchline coming. And that, to me, was always the funniest kind. Yesterday, Woodsy came over to the house. My kid, Jake, loves him some Woods. Oh, he loves Woods. He came out because, you know, Jake was doing some stuff and Woods had been over for about 15, 20 minutes. Jake hadn't seen him. Jake came out. He sees him. Face lights up. Uncle Steve. Immediately. He flips out for Woods. And what's the first thing he wanted to do with you? Play football. Play football. Let's go play football. Because Uncle Woods plays football with Jake. He loves it. What about Daddy? Daddy does sometimes too, but it ain't like... Woodsy. He shows him videos on YouTube. That's right. That's right. This is iTunes. Yeah. I'm like, hey, son, you want to see how a Mac computer works? This is a Mac computer. Don't touch it. Don't touch it. But yeah, so he comes over and I had to play this thing for Woods. You made me cry again, dude. Oh, dude. It's the cutest thing. My eyes filled up with tears. Wait till you hear why. It's so cute. Jake.
Every night when Jake and I go to sleep, Jake says his prayers. I have never assisted him in... All I do is I say, okay, buddy, you got to pray for people. So now it's your turn. So you pray. So he starts naming all his friends at school. Yeah. And he consistently, at the end of his prayers, prays for Uncle Steve. Because he loves his Uncle Steve. My eyes welled up. And Mikey played it for me on his iPhone. I was like... No way. Yeah. I mean, it's, it's the cutest thing. He goes, mommy, daddy, Grammy, my friends, uncle Steve. I was like, it's the cutest thing. It's the cutest thing. And he's never, you know, like never told him. Uh, and so I told Rebecca and she was like, are you serious? I go, yeah, you got to hear it. So she was in the room the other night and I said, all right, buddy, it's time to see your prayers. So we get him into it, and he starts doing it, and he prays for Uncle Steve. That's the sweetest thing. The sweetest thing ever. So Woodsy is texting his wife to tell his wife about it, tell Jamie. And he gets off the phone, and I go, what? He's got this look of kind of like guilt, like half guilt, half funny, half guilt, half funny. I go, what? What's the deal? He goes, dude. He goes, my wife's doing something that she does all the time. She's out of breath. I go, what? He goes, she's mowing the lawn.
Are you kidding me? I am not kidding you. And he said that even when he's there, it's like her thing. Yeah. She cuts the grass. She is a woman. Check her out. We have about literally probably three quarters of an acre in our backyard, which is a lot of yard. Right. A lot of yard. I was working full time. She wasn't working. So like. Her bit was like, well, I'll do the grass. And I was like, literally on a Saturday, I'd be watching the Yankees and she'd be... And now in Texas, it's 130 degrees in the summer. And she's out cutting the grass. I'm like, get you some lemonade or anything? You good? Okay, I'll be in here. The AC. 98% humidity. Awful. I'm an awful person. Well, it was so funny because he's telling the story and I look over at my little blondie wife who is bouncing Luke in her arms and she gives that look like, huh. Yeah. Uh-huh. Sounds about right. Sounds familiar. Yeah. Because my wife is in charge of, she does like guy stuff. Yeah. Like I came home from a concert one night. I was working or not working. Hanging out. Yeah. But anyway, I came home from a concert and she had ordered these letters.
for the kids' names in the nursery, and she was in there with a ruler and a power drill. You know, like, putting the, putting the, I don't even know what it's called, the balance with the bead, you know, with the... Oh, the level? No idea. A level. Balance with the bead. No idea what you're talking about. Goodness! The old balance with the bead. I can't sparse off. Balance with the bead. Yeah. I don't know what it's called either. Yeah, one of the girls on the show, Lauren, had to tell me right now that's called a level. I have a level on my iPhone. I've never used one. I use it. Yeah. Well, Rebecca was doing the thing. She have a stud finder, too? She does. She didn't find me with it. That's how she found Mike, yeah. I'm over here. I've got one. Kim does. What? When we're buying a car, she does all the negotiating. Yeah. Really? That's amazing to me. We full on got thrown out of a dealership because of her because she just does not take it. Wow. Kim's the heavy? Oh, she is the heavy. I just stand there and they try to talk to me and I kind of keep pointing to her. You got to talk to the boss. She may have put on a few pounds over the years, but don't call her heavy. That's not why you say the heavy. I mean, that's not super nice. That's not the heavy. The heavy means the.
The heavy-handed is what it means. She's got big hands. No, no, it doesn't mean the big hands. But she has those, too. Yeah. So 5701949, if your wife does some guy stuff around the house, do you do anything, Sienna? I am a total girl when it comes to stuff around the house. I mean, I'll kill, like, I'll complain about it, but I'll kill a spider over here, you know, now and again. No, he, I mean, he's very handy. Cleans the pool. He does the lawn. Really? He won't let me hang a single picture. He gets mad if I do it. Really? I'll mess it up. Yeah. Do you put the balance with the bead on there? It's called a level. Right. Level. You do that on there to make sure that the picture's straight? He, like, doesn't even need to. Really? And he has a stud finder. He just knocks. He finds it all. Yeah. He's really handy. Oh, those guys kill me. The guys are... No. No. No. Like, babe, it sounds... There it is. There it is. It sounds the same. Yeah. What are you doing? How do you know? You're looking for coconut milk? He does. He knows. It's weird. And he can eye with perfectly center in the wall. Like if I want something right in the middle hung. He doesn't need the measuring tape. Yeah. No, that's Rebecca too. Rebecca knows her way around it. Like if I need something.
I'm like, babe, where do we keep the drill bits? She's like, first of all, why do you want to know? Don't worry about it. Okay, Cubby, go back to your computer. And second of all, it's in my tool shed. You know, that's a second of all. Jamie does the light bulbs. She does the yard. She can do it all. I bet she does the bills, too. I actually do the bills. Really? Because she loses the mail. Yeah, I'd lose the mail. So we'll get our electricity turned off. And it's like, why? We have money. Oh, I must have lost the bill. Oh, perfect. Yeah. Rebecca does the bills. I do the bills. I'm not allowed to touch the mail. You're not? I've just instituted that law in my house. She's not even allowed to get the mail anymore. Why? Because she loses stuff. We've lost checks. We've lost cards. We've lost all kinds of stuff. I do the mail. I don't lose it. I just will open it and see it and ignore it and stick it in a drawer and they pile. And Todd's like. Babe, these need to be paid. Your license is about to expire. And I'm like, I don't want to deal with it, though. So he does it. Lauren, what about you and Matt who does all the handy stuff? Well, I do more of it. But he's getting emasculated by the process. So he's starting to do a lot more now. See, Matt, if you're listening, don't be emasculated. Don't do it, dude. Yeah, just stick to your guns and don't be a handyman if that's not who you are. Be a pansy man like me and Mike. That's what we are.
Don't be a handyman. Be a pansyman. I love it. We have a new title. Yes, the pansyman. And do us a favor. Don't Photoshop pictures of me in woods with power tools. Please don't, because it's not going to work. In a pansy garden. It's not going to work. 570-1949, and you can also text us, 949-MIKEY. At gmail.com. You guys should at least bring some fresh lemonade and some treats to your working women. Oh, yeah. I do that. She looks at me like, if you don't get out of my face, I'm going to shank you. Get out of here. She comes in just, feet red. Wheezing. Wheezing, like grass all over. I'm like, do you want to take a shower and go rent a movie or something? Yeah. Why don't you relax, babe? As you're in the recliner all the way back. Watching baseball. Yeah. All the way back. M1 Jason. Jason, are you there? Yeah, go ahead, man. I have got to tell you this. My wife is insane. A long time ago on the station whose name we will not mention, I was a P1 because of my girlfriend, Lynn. Yeah. And I'm an M1 now. We followed you over. I have to tell this to you, and I love her to death. I married her for one of these reasons, actually. We have a house over by Seneca State. We have an outdoor screen patio yard that fits.
It's an entire weight set that has all the goods. I don't use any of it. I'm a computer guy as well. The entire patio, she pulled up all the AstroTurf on there and then scraped it clean and then did mastic all over the parts that needed to be actually leveled in. I think that's mastic or that. We have no idea. She's coaching me through it right now. Okay, it's not a leveler. Floor leveler, thank you. So she puts down all the AstroTurf. No, puts down the carpet and cuts it with a tolerance of less than a sixteenth of an inch. And then I put all the weights and everything in there and the crap in there for our son Asher. And then she goes and turns around and hangs brand new screens in all of the windows and then hangs a new screen door and paints the lid so it's nice and pretty. No way. That's awesome. I have a friend that's like that. So handy. It's not even over.
So I'm standing in there, and I'm like, wow, this is really nice with my coffee in hand, and I'm gaining weight looking at it. And then I look in the backyard, and I'm like, hey, the patio, it's kind of lopsided. No! You jerk. And it was like, it was that old school, like, junky red concrete-looking stuff, you know? So she's like, well, what do you want to do? I'm like, oh, we should probably clean it up. We. We should probably clean it up and totally take care of it. And so, like, the next weekend, she goes and, I'm not even kidding, she applies. stripper onto all the concrete. This is not a small patio. And puts it all on there and then strips all the crud up and then fills the cracks in the uneven concrete. Amazing. And then paints it. Too close to paint. Jason, Jason, Jason. Let me talk to her. Let me talk to her. I think it's cool she brought a stripper home. With my son, Asher, who's less than a year old on her back. Oh, that's crazy. Jason, let me talk. Put her on. Put her on. Hello? Lynn. Yes. What does he do? He sits inside on the computer. Oh, my. That's awesome. Welcome to the Pansy Man, my brother. That's awesome. Thank you for the call, Lynn. We appreciate it. No problem. Hey, by the way, where did you learn all that? Actually, I used to do flooring in New Hampshire and wallpaper and all that good stuff. Incredible. Hey, Liz, will you marry me? Yeah. Just Lynn. Lynn. Okay. She's not marrying you now. Thank you, Lynn.
Yes. We appreciate it. Oh, dude. I'm telling you. I can't do... No. Like, when there's a... If there's a... Like, if the toilet keeps going, like, I start sweating. I'm like, oh, no. I know how to fix that. You do? You just lift up the back of the toilet. I don't want to touch that. Yeah, I don't want to touch it. The back of the toilet, because there's, like, a little plug that got moved up, and you have to grab the chain and put the plug back in. No. I won't put my hands in that water. It's clean water. Is it? You guys. It's in a toilet. It's not clean water. I was laying in bed the other night and I hear drip, drip, drip, drip. And I know that it's our shower head is dripping. I couldn't sleep if I heard that. I know. So I got up. I went in there and I'm like, oh, I know how to fix this. I'll just turn it really hard to try to turn it off. So I turn it really hard. I'll lay back down, drip, drip, drip, drip, drip. And I'm like, oh, the shower head is. pointed at a 45 degree angle i'll just point it straight down that will fix it it starts going i'm like what is this so i finally all i did was i just kept jimmying it and moving the handle around until i got the least amount of drippage
Like that's me. The way that I fix something is with earmuffs so that I don't hear it. I would have thrown a towel in the bottom of the shower so that it absorbed in the towel. Great idea. I know. Sienna, that's good. That's my way of fixing it. Band-Aid. Nasty wet towel. Band-Aid. Whatever. Just not being able to hear it. M1 James. James, you there? Yeah, I'm here. What'd your wife do? Everything. Yeah. Give me an example. Fancy man. Like, for instance, I was watching the gold medal hockey game over the Olympics. Yeah. And while I was in the living room relaxing, she was in the dining room reciling the floor. Oh, wow. That's insane. She pretty much... Oh. She'll call me in when she can't carry a stack of tiles over. Nice. I'll take them over there. Is she calling from the moon? I think so. I think he was on the moon. That's hard work. Tiling a floor. Yes. You have to match those tiles perfectly to get it all to fit. Sienna, thinking about tiling a floor is hard work. Yeah, it is. Much less doing it. My wife is on the line. Hello, honey. Hi, Karen. How are you? Hi. How are you? She's talking to Mike. Oh, exactly. Yeah. Okay. Let's see.
Hey, how's the voice coming along, honey? Oh, it's much better, much better. Yeah, she sounded like Cookie Monster a couple of days ago. And Ja Rule. Yeah, that's right. She sounded like Ja Rule. Hey, Woods, you want some Bucati Beppo? Rebecca, please, don't yell at me. I'm hungry. She had a cold. And so, yeah, the other day, Woods, he goes, Hey, Woods, you want me to order some Bucati Beppo for you, man? You like the hot or the sweet sausage? That is what I sounded like. That's so true. I love you, honey. Don't talk to me, please. So what were you calling to throw me under the bus about, babe? Are you guys ready this one? Oh, yes. I can't wait. Okay, so I think he already shared that I do all the handyman stuff around the house. And that includes a lot. You know, hang all the, like, drapery rods. Oh, wow. All the pictures, everything. In my old house. Me and my mom installed our own baseboards. Wow. Yeah. Mike has, like, used the drill one time. Wait, do you guys want to know what it was for? I'm dying. Yeah, he used the drill to install in his bathroom one of those magnifying mirrors with a light. You're such a girl, Mike.
Right now, Mikey's head is bent over into the console, covering his face. He's bright red. He will not look at us. His eyes are covered. So that he can inspect his pores every morning. Oh, God, dude. Makes it easy to put your eyeliner on. I can only look at Woods right now. I have both hands up like I'm a racetrack horse, and I have blinders on so that I don't have to look at Lauren O'Brien or Sienna Richards right now because I know. Oh, I saw you. Oh, dude. It gets worse. Oh, keep going. Keep going. It's the kind that has a light on it so that you can really inspect your pores. Oh, Michael. The worst part about it is that he used the drill to install it. I think because he was too embarrassed to ask me to install it. Yeah, for sure. That is 100% true. He didn't do it right, so we had to call an actual handyman to come and repair it. He didn't even do it right? No way. Because he didn't do it right. He didn't, like, install it into a stud. And so it was, like, falling off of it. Oh, my gosh. Honey, will you install my makeup mirror? Honey, um, honey, will you drag my new vanity in from the garage, please? Oh, I am not, not masculine. Oh, honey, I love you. She just said she loves you. Thank you, honey. I love you, too. I love Rebecca right now, too.
That was great. See you, Han. Oh, I am red. Oh, I've never seen you blush that much. That was bad. I can see it like dangling from like one screw is holding it on there. And he's like, I don't know what to do. I want it, but I don't know what to do. Is it worth it to call this guy? And the worst part is I can't see my pores. It was the most pathetic makeup mirror hanging, dangling from the wall. One screw. You wanted Rebecca to do it, but you were too embarrassed to ask. I was way too embarrassed to ask. And I was like, I was, it was right there. I was like, and I was in my mind. I was like, how will I say it? Like, I'll be like, hey, babe, can you put the, no, that, no. And I would like go through, I was going through, I was like. Hey, babe, I just got a... No, I can't say that. The makeup mirror. I can't say I just got a makeup mirror. You go to Sephora to get that? Bed Bath & Beyond. Oh, that's the worst. Tansy man. Oh, that is the worst. Oh, boy. The gypsy woman told my mother. Stay in the blues. Before I was born. You got a boy charge coming. Gonna be a son of a gun. Gonna make pretty women.
Jump and shout. Guess what I have. Okay. I got a portion of the 911 call of the guy that was in the Prius on the freeway on the night. Oh. So the other day we had the story of the guy that was driving his Prius down the... 8 freeway. Yeah, in Lakeside. And all of a sudden, he realizes, same problem all these Toyotas, a lot of these Toyotas have been having. The accelerator got stuck. It's stuck. Uh-huh. He started going over 90 miles an hour on the freeway, could not control it. So he called 911, like, freaking out. Look, this is happening to me. The Toyota, I have a Prius. My accelerator's stuck, and I can't slow down. The entire phone call.
Is about 21 minutes long. And it is on the KGTV website. And through most of it, you don't really hear him much. Because he is quite obviously freaked out. Yeah. And so he is a little bit distracted, I think is a good word. Terrified. Yeah. Can you put the car in neutral, sir? No. No, have you tried to put it in neutral? I'm trying to control the car. Okay, have you tried to put the car in neutral? No. Can you try that? Can you try to put the vehicle in neutral? I got to hand it to her too, by the way, because she just stays just rock solid calm. Just rock solid calm. Jim, Jim, listen to me. We have officers on the way. I'm trying to get a hold of the helicopter. I need you to answer some questions for me.
Eventually what you get is you get the cop, pull up alongside of him, can't hear it very well, but the cop is on his loudspeaker and giving the guy directions on how to slow the car down by using the e-brake. Then turning off the car. How crazy is that? That's very, very compelling stuff. Luckily he's okay. It could have turned out real bad. Dude is okay. The federal government sent investigators over here to San Diego to investigate into the situation because it's just bad. This happened. He was going over 94 miles an hour on the freeway. I mean, just crazy stuff. Let's see. 570-1949 is our number. Or you can text us 949mikey at gmail.com. Hey, good morning. Hey, it's our old friend Dave Matthews. Good morning. Good morning. How are you, Dave? I'm great, man. Got some great news. Seems very upbeat this morning. Got some great news. Hey, look at that. Dave shaved, too. He's got the beard all shaved off and everything. Why are you looking so dapper? Well, I was going through my mail, and it turns out I've been invited to play at the Oscars this coming weekend. Really? Yeah, man.
I'm playing. Dave. I got some predictions. I got some Oscar predictions on who's going to win. Dave, the Oscars. Don't spoil anything because I already know who's going to win some of these. I got some like four. Should we break into them? Okay. My prediction. Best makeup. Probably going to go to Barney Berman from Star Trek. That's my prediction right now. Barney Berman? He's going to win. He has no idea. I'm playing. They've asked me to play. I've got some new material I've been working on. Really? For the Oscars. I'm real excited, man. It's this Sunday. It's the 39th Academy Awards. And I'm going to be playing Mr. Dave Matthews. Go ahead, Dave Matthews. It's the 82nd. It was last Sunday. Oh, uh-oh. I'll go to the Oscars. And I'll get high with Jeff Bridges. Have you seen Crazy Heart? No, I haven't. It's probably gonna win the best actor in a leading role. Thank you, Dave. That was really good. That was great. But the thing is... Be careful. He's shaved, mate. I went and I got a custom-made hemp tuxedo.
I've got shoes that are made out of cocaine. And I'm bringing the heat next Sunday night. Woody Harrelson. We have the same tailor. He's in Argentina. He had a hemp tuxedo as well. Yeah, we have the same tailor. We tried ours on. We're ready to go. We sat in my bus for like nine hours. He wore it last Sunday? Yeah, we tried it on last Sunday. Do you know why he wore it last Sunday? So tune in Sunday, 8 p.m. The 39th Annual Academy Awards featuring me, Mr. Dave Matthews. I'm going to take you out. I love the Hurt Locker. It's so upbeat. It didn't make me cry. about war didn't cry at all no wait that's weird makes me happy no wait babe you're being weird you're being really remember like five seconds ago i said don't be weird that was the first thing i said then i said dave uh it already happened it happened last sunday be careful yeah it happened last year six cents last year won the best picture no james cameron won for titanic it was last year and i didn't get invited but this year i'm playing
The 39th Annual Academy Awards. Dave Matthews. I'm presenting. I'm playing. Wait, that would never happen. You're by yourself. I'm doing all of it. Thank you, Dave. So please tune in and watch me, and I'll be back Monday with all kinds of red carpet exclusives. All right. Can't wait to see what you find. Dave Matthews, everybody. You just left. He left in a hemp outfit. Do you think someone will, like, get it through his head that the Oscars already happened? I hope so. He's going regardless. He's freshly shorn. He tried to give him a ride. Oh, my goodness. I hope he doesn't. Well, if he goes to the Kodak Theater, it's where all those, like, characters are, the costume characters. He'll be there with American Idol. Yeah, what if he just turns into one of those characters? I don't know. I have a question for you guys. If you were going to name, and Santa's the one that, Santa can't participate because she knows the answer, but you guys. Who changed their fries? Who is changing their fries? BK. Burger King? Mm-hmm. Whole Foods. It's cabbage fries now instead of carrots. Yeah. Jay, you want to take a yes? I guess that's a no. Sorry, I was on the phone. Weird. French fries. Who would he change their fries? Would it be Rubio's? Rubio's is not fries. Jay. Who changed their fries? Yeah, it wasn't Chevy's either. Who was it, Sienna?
It was someone who needed to change their fries, in my opinion. Who was it? And that place was jack-in-the-box. I love their fries. No. It was delicious. I love their fries. It was curly. Straight, whatever you like. What did they do? I remember like 10 years ago, they had different fries and they were better. And then one day I went to Jack in the Box and they were like crispier and weird. And they changed them to like the more natural cut fries. Delicious. I want the fakest fry you can give me. So what are they doing? Well, they have offered a new fry and it's a lot more similar, a lot closer to the McDonald's gold standard fry. I'm telling you. That McDonald's fry is good. Yeah. There's no doubt about it. They say that these new French fries are crispy on the outside and they enhance the potato flavor. Really? Which helps retain the temperature. They know a lot. I'm in on the new fries at Jack in the Box and I'm excited to try them. Are you in on the new bird poop facial? No. It's a real thing.
I was on a field trip to New York City in sixth grade, and one of my buddies actually got a bird poop facial, but he didn't ask for it. Good luck. He did. It was green, actually. Oh, man. There's a spa in New Mexico called the 10,000 Waves Spa, and this is causing a commotion, this new facial they have. And people are swearing by it, saying it's great, reduces lines, makes you feel relaxed. It's like, oh. And the main ingredient is bird poop. No way. Bird poop. Who's the harvester? Yeah. Nightingale droppings. Is there a dude running around with a cup in the deserts of Arizona going, oh man, I hope I get one today. How do you get it? What's a nightingale? A nightingale's a type of bird. Is it a bird? I think it's a nightingale. The spa says that this is our signature. What's a nightingale? Nightingale. He's been nighted by the queen. Nightingale sings beautifully.
This is also used in Japan. All the geishas did it to brighten and smooth their skin. The droppings are dried, pulverized, and sanitized with ultraviolet light at the nightingale farm. Now, again, these are birds, nightingale birds. You've been on that, Lauren? Oh, yeah, of course. You would, right? I mean, you're all natural. I would think you would. I got an idea. No, I think that's actually sad because they probably have these. Birds just sitting in an aviary just collecting their poop. Yeah. I got an idea. Try Nivea. Okay. How about that? Try Nivea. You used stuff fancier than Nivea. Yeah. Try Kiehl's. Yeah. Oil of Olay. Yeah. Oil of Olay. Kiehl's. They add essential oils to it as well as powder to use as a cleanser and or a mask. Add those oils. To the Nivea. Would you ever slather? So that I don't have to rub poop on my face. Slather up some bird poop on your face, and you'll never guess how much it costs. I'm going to take a guess. What? I would say a treatment is $400. No, it's less. I'm taking the under. $250. It's more realistic than that. $250. No. $100? $115. You can do it yourself for $7. But if you want the deluxe Nightingale custom facial, it's going to be $160. What's the deluxe?
The nightingale actually hovers above me. You can do it yourself by standing under some telephone lines. Yeah, you can do that. Go to Balboa Park, camp out, and you can do the whole thing for probably $6 to $8 yourself. M1 Dos Equis. Are you there, Dos Equis? Yeah, hey. Go ahead. Hey, man, that bird poop facial thing could be horribly bad because they say that if you keep birds, like just birds in your room, like you get a pet bird or something. Right. Like something comes off of the feces that actually cause cysts or cancerous growth on your lung. Maybe they do something to it that makes it healthy. Sterilize it out or something? Yeah. I mean, it's the filthiest thing. It sounds so gross. So foul. If they have to do something to it to use it, why use it? Why use it? Disgusting. 570-1949 is our number. Or 949mikey at gmail.com. What's the deal with the seven-year-old in L.A. that saved his family's life? This is pretty crazy. A little boy from Norwalk, California. He was at home with his six-year-old sister. Both of his parents were home, but the kids were in a different room. A gunman broke into the house, saw the parents first, put a gun to them, and said, you know, we're robbing them. The little kids, he grabbed his six-year-old sister. Let me remind you, this boy's only seven. They go hide in the bathroom.
He takes a phone into the bathroom, calls 911, and they were like, what's going on? And the little boy said, there's some guy who's going to kill my mom and dad, bring cops, a lot of them, and soldiers, too. I know. So then the gunman eventually found the kids in the bathroom, and someone screamed, probably the little girl. The 911 operator sounded shaken, and she was explaining what was happening to her colleagues. The cops over there. But the suspect, the gunman, grabbed the little boy and said, who did you just call? Because he was holding the phone. And he said 911. And they ran. They didn't take anything. No one was hurt. And the burglars fled. Wow. They had a conscience. Yeah. Yeah. That is. Because they didn't know how long the boy had been in there, how long ago he called. You know, they were like, we got to go. This is it. That could have come out. That could have turned out so much worse. Oh, that's like a, you know, a first or a second grader. That's little. It's pretty awesome what he did. Yeah. We have a, is it a list of the companies that get the most complaints? Yeah, it's the top three. The top three companies that get the most complaints. Any guesses? Not like a name brand company, but like the general. Types of companies? I would say computers. Banks. Banks, yes, banks. Banks was actually number four, but it ended at four, so I thought I'd go top three. But yes, the banking industry was number four on the list. Cell phones.
Number one. Wow. Cell phone carriers. Yep. Of course. Mm-hmm. The cable. I was going to say cable. You know why? I was going to say cable. Dude. Right? It's the cable companies because you have to go through the automation. That's the worst. I did it yesterday. Twice. Cable and satellite TV came in at number two. So now we're just missing one. Number three goes to. What is something that we do now for the holidays because we're lazy? So we do this instead of going somewhere. Online shopping? Yes. It's online shopping? Online shopping. Why? When you call their contact info, it's hard to get through? No, but they do weight loss supplements and weird stuff online that people, when they get, they're not happy about because they don't have someone to talk to when they buy it. Right, right, right. So they call and complain. Here's the bit I like by those companies, the online companies.
I bought some supplements online. What kind of supplements? What is that berry? Again, I can't say it. Acai. Acai. Acai. I heard that it really works. Yeah. So I bought some acai berry, and I got my first order, and I started taking it, and it was like taking speed. So I was working out, though, but here's the thing. I kept getting bottles of it and being charged like $60 a month every month, and it drove me crazy. And you weren't able to stop it? No. Same thing happened when I ordered Girls Gone Wild. Exactly. I kept getting DVDs in the mail. I never asked for them. I kept them, but I didn't ask for them. You couldn't stop it. No, I couldn't stop it. If I wanted to, I wouldn't stop it. How did you finally stop it? You had to cancel the credit card and open a new account. I got the whole collection. You waited until the collection was done. So this is a weird story. Detroit has decided that they are going to, they're getting, well, obviously too big. Too big for their bridges. They are? Well, since the 1950s, there were about two million people living in this area of Detroit. And now there's it's half of that, about a million people. And on some blocks, there's only one or two occupied homes left. So it's just a lot of dead space. You know, there's homes that are beat up. They're just sitting there. Yeah, because eight mile. Yeah, exactly. Like eight mile. Yeah. So now their their plan is to.
They have this radical plan that's going to turn these houses, just knock them all down. Let me guess. Turn the land into farms. Well, girl, what you know about 8 Mile? That's right. Uh-oh. Girl, what you know about? Here's a mic. Tell me something I don't know about me. No, no. Yeah, I'm white. Yeah, I live in a trailer. Take it easy. Yeah. Marshall. Yeah, man. I live in a trailer. I am wide track. Slim Shady. Here's the mic, man. Tell me something I don't know about. Hey, you just pushed the mic out of the way. Hey, Marshall. What's up, dog? You don't look that tough with a notepad and pen in your hand. What's up, dude? I'm scribbling lyrics, man. I'm in my beat laboratory right now, man. Come on, dog. You don't understand. I wasn't making fun of you. I was saying, like, remember when you were in that movie and you guys torched the house? Yeah, I'm white. Yeah, I do live in a trailer. Hey, you also have a clock. I do have a friend named Cheddar Bob that shot himself. The leg. Yeah, man. You also have a clock as a necklace right now, bro. I don't understand. I'm bringing it back, dog. That's how I do. Bringing back a couple LBs. That's right. That's right. How are your daughters doing, Eminem? Haley's fine. Thank you. Haley Jade. Have you put on a couple of pounds? Be honest. It looks like. What? My name is what? My name is what? Wicked wicked slim shady. Slim shady, dog. We all know that. This ain't slim shady no more. Yeah, it's kind of like. It's Chubb Shady. That's a new name. I'm coming. Don't call it a comeback.
We're not. We're calling it a feast, okay, bro? Yeah. What's up, dude? We're calling it the buffet. Yeah, I'm fat. Yeah, I'm white. Tell me something I don't know about me. Okay. You have a notepad and a pen in your hand. I'm writing. I'm scribbling lyrics, bro. Beat laboratory. I'm in my beat laboratory right now. Y'all leave me alone, man. Leave me be. When are you going to come back with something new? Be soon. I'm ready for it. Did you know that you have a piece of toilet paper on your shoes? Bet you didn't know that. Yeah, girl, I'm saving it for later. Yo mama's coming over my house. You know what? Always go to the yo mama jokes, Marshall. Yeah, yo mama. You can write, you should scribble something about the toilet paper. Dude is angry. He's really mad. He gets really mad. I don't know what's up with him. I went after my mama. Well... Eventually, Detroit will be small enough for us to all want to not live there. No, they're going to turn that land into fruit trees and vegetable farms. They're going to be replacing neighborhoods. I think that's great. Weird. Yeah. I think we need more farmland. Gentrification. Isn't that what you call that? Wow. No idea. Wow. What is that, L-O-B? I think it's when you try to turn an inner city kind of urban rundown area.
You tried to build it up. I thought that's when you wiped out like a whole race. Yeah. Is that that? Genocide. She's like, oh, I always get the two confused. I get the two confused. Growing apples and genocide. Sometimes I. Makes sense. I was pretty sure on that one. Genocide was a great band from the 80s too. Phil Collins was in. Thank you. Genocide. Thank you. Amazing. When we come back, do you know who Eric Massa is? First of all, I think it's Massa. It may be masa. I don't know. Isn't that like flour in Spanish? Yeah, that's what you make tortillas out of. But this guy, I guess there's a whole... Did you figure anything out about this guy? I tried. I looked into it. I have an article. He's, I guess... Is he gay? Is he not gay? Is he a politician? It's a politician, a former New York representative who apparently groped his male staff member. That's a good move. And this guy's press and charge is not happy. He groped his staff member? Yes. He grew up a staff member. It could go either way. Go either way? Yeah. Well, anyway, he was on Glenn Beck's show, and Glenn Beck apologizes to his viewers for wasting their time. And I have the audio. Right in front of the guy. The guy's sitting there, and he does this. And then they start to kind of get into it a little bit. I got the audio next. All right, it's better than I thought. Let your voice be heard on The Mikey Show now.

So, Eric Massa. That's his name, right? Eric. Eric Massa. Eric Massa. He is a, I don't know.
former New York representative. Right. He just resigned on Monday after facing a little bit of a situation where apparently he groped a male staff member. He says his sexual behavior was not rough play and not unusual for men to do. What did he do exactly? It just says that he groped a male. Groped in rough play. Yeah. To a male co-worker? And he said, you know, not only did I grope him, I tickled him until he couldn't breathe. Creepy. Like, not appropriate. Wait a minute. Woodsy, you tickle me every day, my team. Every day. I didn't know that was against the law. I have never. Every day I get tickled by Cubby. I get my butt grabbed every day. When I grab, it's swatted by Woods as I walk by. What do you do? What do you say after? You say good game. You say good game. I say good game. That means it's okay. Good game, pal. Good game, buddy. Good game. Nicely done. Go get him. Go get him. Go get him, champ. Go get him today, Jay. Get that audio in there, buddy. Good game, pal. So he resigned on Monday in the wake of all these investigations due to his moral ethics. Can I just say, like,
If you're the guy that files the complaint, okay, that means that you really did not like it, okay? Which, when you're getting tickled, you can't help but laugh. So what must it look like if you're a guy that doesn't want to be tickled, but you're like... It's like half funny, half not. Don't! Don't! When you were growing up and you were a little kid, didn't your parents have that uncle or that friend that would always come over and tickle you? Your uncle in a trench coat? No, I did. There was always a person that would tickle me, and his intentions were good, but it was hard, and I was laughing, but please stop. Here is Glenn Beck. Well, first of all, this guy, Eric Massa, he will not answer the question whether or not he's gay. Here's Larry King asking.
It may be silly, but I guess we have to ask it. Are you gay? Well, here's that answer. I'm not going to answer that. Well, isn't that an answer? That's the answer. That's code for absolutely. Yes. Well, okay. If you tickled a guy and you think it's totally normal, okay? You think it's totally normal to tickle a guy at work. And somebody says, hey, are you gay? You're like, no. I just like to tickle dudes. I love tickling. You know what I mean? Tickle like the perfect word to describe tickling? You know, like tickle. I'm coming over there. Dude, no. Come on. No, man. How about I tickle you? No, I don't want to be tickled Frankie. What if I come over there and I take my Abe Vigoda hot dog sized fingers? Ew. No, I don't like it. What if I, hang on a minute. What if I took my strong lumberjack hands? And I put them into your ribs and went coochie, coochie. No, no, no, no, no. Frankie, someone just got in trouble for that. Yeah, you could get in trouble for that, dude. Dude, but what if it made you giggle? It probably would because I'm really ticklish.
It's kind of funny, right? It's not fun. It's not fun. Come here, you. Come here, you. Come here, you. Let me get some of that. Oh, yeah. I'm getting you. Oh, yeah. You like it, don't you? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't like it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Frankie likes it. Wow. Getting awkward. I don't like it. Frankie should give a good spot on the bottom. You got to say good game after. You have to say good game after. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Good game. Dude, you're hitting the same spot every time. Stay still. Good game. Stay still.
My butt is beet red and throbbing right now. You just got after that. Wow. Wow, Frankie. In year 2010, why don't you ask my wife, ask my friends, ask the 10,000 sailors I served with in the Navy. Did you hear that? Ask those 10,000 sailors I served with all alone on the deep blue sea. That was a little weird. That was a little strange. Well, I think that's him saying that he was with sailors alone. Ask the sailor? Ask the Native American. Ask the cop. Ask all of the village people. And ask the guy that I tickled if I'm gay. Yes. Okay? I think he's trying to say lighten up. Lighten up. Answer that. That is so... You don't have to. I said... It's an insulting... Larry... I didn't mean it to insult you. Sweetheart, settle down. It insults every gay American.
Because somehow, yes, it does. It somehow classifies people. Why would anybody even ask that question in this day and age? Because you said you groped someone. I love Larry. We may have to save that. You said you groped someone. Please do. And here you go back to that. Who was a male? And Larry, and I explained what that was three times. He's uber defensive. Yeah, but he's just saying it was fun, that's all. It's not fun, though, dude. Yeah, dude, if you're laughing, it's fun. No, no. Yeah, you were laughing. You were giggling. Yeah, but I still don't. It makes me very uncomfortable. Okay, fine. Then I won't tickle you. Good. One of those, though. I hate it. I hate it. I'll start slap fighting here in a minute. That sounds great. No more. There it is. Oh, but the Glenn Beck thing, right? So here's Glenn Beck talking to him. And this happens. I think I've wasted your time. I think this is the... He's talking to his audience with the guy sitting right there. I have wasted an hour of your time. And I apologize for that. Because I think we could have spent a lot less time you backtracking a lot. You're a lot... I'm not backtracking.
I'm telling you what happened. Corruption, and you don't really have anything except what I say. You don't, you're now apologizing to Rahm Emanuel. That was sarcastic, Glenn. Okay. Did you get that? I didn't. No, I didn't. If, if, I don't know that I would, well, I know I certainly wouldn't like it if a guy tickled me. And this is just me. I don't know that I'd take it as far as human resources, but. Right? I mean, as a guy, it's kind of weird, but maybe it's not. I don't know. Is that wrong? The groping. Oh, groping. Hello. I wouldn't like if Megan Fox tickled me. I don't like to be tickled, dude, at all. I just tickled Woods a second ago. I don't like it. And he, like, pushed me out of my way. I was like, I'm going to stop now. I don't like it. Yeah. So if a guy tickled you.
But I think, Woods, if a guy tickled you, you would tell the guy, don't. He would be. Yeah, he would. Don't think of that. He'd be missing some teeth, dude, after I was done. Get it, man. Yeah, like, don't tickle me. Don't tickle me. What are we, five? I'm going to tickle you next time I'm in there. Do not tickle me. I'm tickling you. I don't like it. Personal space. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life. Personal space. My personal space. Oh. Yo, Woods. What? Already you're sounding defensive, dude. I just said, hey, would. Dude, I don't want to be tickled. I don't want to be oiled. I don't want to be shaved. I don't want to be touched. Fine, then. I won't offer any of that. Good. Would you like to make some cinnamon buns? Ooh, yeah. Probably. Is that a metaphor? Maybe.
By make cinnamon buns, I meant would you like a neck massage? No. I'm good. How does that have anything to do with cinnamon buns? Because I happen to sprinkle cinnamon in my hands before I do it. Really? Frosting too? Is there anything better than the smell of cinnamon buns? Nope. I want a cinnamon bun more than anything right now. The genius is the guy that put them in the airport. Yes. Because I'm walking through the airport going. I'm wiping saliva off my mouth going, oh, my God, I want one of those. It's true. But how come they only sell cinnamon buns in an airport or a mall? It's the only two places on earth that sell cinnamon buns. So good. So good for you, too. They're fat-free. So good for you. From what I understand, they're fat-free. Organic? Yeah, they're organic with no calories at all. I know. You might as well staple it to your butt. Seriously. Yeah, how do you feel on the plane after you have that cinnamon bun? Amazing. Just a coma. Like a sugar coma. Take a little nap. They sell them at the Del Mar Fair. There's a booth. Oh, yeah. It's like you can get them to go to and you can freeze them and then heat them back up. Can I tell? Jay. Jay. So you walk straight through the main entrance. Oh, my gosh. And when you get to the tower, you take a left. Correct? 100%. That's right. I can't wait for the Del Mar Fair. You know why I know? Because you go there for corn. Rebecca, that's.
Her big deal, like my deal is a grilled corn. Rebecca likes those cinnamon rolls more than anything else. And she gets them with a cream cheese frosting to go. And you guys pay for the parking and admission just to go get the snacks and leave. I do. I pay the price of admission to buy a cob of corn. One cob. It's the best corn. But one. Yeah. Corn Brothers. Corn Brothers. Corn Brothers. That's who sells it. What other business could you get at? Corn Brothers. I walk in. I buy it. I sprinkle my little lime pepper on it. Weird. I put the little salsa. Yeah. He pulls out special ingredients from his pocket. Special ingredients. I put the little pad of butter. I rub it on there. And I sit there. And now, like, I talked about this on the radio one other time. And it was so humiliating because then I did it that year. And I'm just looking around at everybody going. Oh, there's Tubby Mikey sitting over there eating his corn. Eating his ear of corn. At least it's not, you didn't just go for a cinnamon roll, though, because corn at least is not that bad. Here's the deal. I could not be more excited about the Del Mar Fair experience because I'll go with you and we're going to feast this year. We will feast. There's certain fair foods, by the way, that I've never had. Like?
I've never had that Indian fry bread. I've never had the waffle cake or whatever. Funnel cake. Funnel cake. Oh, Michael. Battered potatoes. Never had that. I haven't had a bunch of them. They have corn dogs here at this fair? Oh, yeah. Okay. The ones at the Texas State Fair are incredible. They got them. Can I really quick just say, people will get mad. It's now the San Diego Fair. I'm not going to do that. I'm not doing it either, but for those that are like, you know, people do get mad. I can't wait. When is it? Well, we got to go to media day because they did the media day and they have all the food free for us. Yeah. Because they want you to try it and talk about it. 17 pounds each. I can't wait. And you get to bring a date, too. Yeah. So, Lauren, I'm sure they have, like, zucchini. Yeah. Squash. Fried zucchini. Well, that's the thing. No holds barred for me when the fair comes around. I try it all. Do you really? Oh, yeah. And I try it all. Yeah. I'm stoked. By all, she means one French fry. When? When, when, when, when, when. Orange Julius. Oh, they have those here. Only at the fair. What is it? What? It's like a Jamba Juice kind of. It's like a blended orange drink. Is it an eggy orange? No. It is. No. It is. It is. It is. It does. It does. Lauren's eyes say yes. It's very frothy.
It's so good. It's delicious. Dude, you eat eggs on hamburgers. You eat eggs on hamburgers. Eggie orange. Saltwater taffy. Yeah. Have you had the cinnamon rolls that comes with, like, red sauce? You can get, like, a strawberry glaze, too. It's mole sauce. I don't know. It's good, whatever it is. First of all, it's called mole. My bad, dude. Guacamole. Mole, mole. Who's the dude that gets Chinese food at the fair? I do. I do, too. Yeah, I just remembered. Yeah, it's me. I do, too. I'm that guy. I'm the guy that gets everything. Me, too. I'm so excited. When is it? August. No, no, no. June. July. June. June. Nine different months. It ends July 4th. It's so awesome. Can't wait. Turkey leg? In. Smoked turkey leg. All the way in. Love it. No rides. I don't ride rides. FYI, no. There's concerts there, too. Like ZZ Top? 38 Special? Not for you. Not a concert for you. Like David Cook. Even better. I'd rather see 38 Special. Ladies and gentlemen, let's give a big Del Mar welcome to David Archuleta. He was there last year. Yeah. They've got all different kinds of stages. Local artists, big bands. Big bands. Yeah. Do you do the throw darts at a balloon? Oh, yeah, the balloon? Yep. I'll do all the Midway games, all the...
The fun little games? You're any good at it? Yeah, yeah. Come on. You know that. Really? You know that. I thought they rig them. They don't rig them. They do. They do. I knock down the milk bottles with the baseball. I shoot hoops. You realize now we're going to put you to the test. Like, now you're sick. Really? Done. You better come through, Woodsy. You know what 100% they do rig? Is the one where you have the little water gun and you shoot it at the target? Yeah. So rigged. And your pressure goes. Yeah. At the end. I love the fair. I love the fair. Yeah, you know what? Couldn't you tell? I love when the guy's yelling at you to play the game. Hey, buddy, don't be a cheapskate. Win the fair. It's a dollar. It's a dollar. Bald guy, come here. No, thank you. No, thank you. I will drop $300 at the fair. On media day where it's free, I'll still drop $300 somehow. I'd rather be tickled by that senator than get yelled at. Besides the cinnamon buns, what is the best smelling thing? Chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate chip cookies. Oh, yeah. Right on. Chocolate chip cookies. Apple pie in the oven. Bacon. Bacon smells good. Oh, I got one for you. Coffee. I got it. I got it. You hear.
And you walk up to the dryer and you open the dryer up. Is that food? Warm. No, it's just a great smell. And you get that. Yummy dryer sheets. But he puts pizza in his. Yeah, the reason I like it is. He can't reach the microwave, so he puts it in the dryer. That's where I put my microwave popcorn. Yeah. Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop. He can't reach the microwave. He can't reach it. So he puts some food in the dryer. Yeah, we get it, Sienna. When Rebecca's gone and he's going to fend for himself, he's like, I can't reach this, dude. I know I can pull the thing on the dryer. I'm like, hey, Jake, can you, uh, give Maddie a boost? If I boost you up, will you push one minute start? Oh, my gosh. Can somebody run a quick dry for me so I can pop some popcorn? Link in my popcorn. Oh, I love it so much. You know, there's quarters bouncing around.
What is a great smell? 570-1949. Apple cider. Vanilla. What, do you live in New Hampshire? Yeah. When it's Christmas time, I have apple cider and I get the apple cinnamon candles. You do? My house smells pretty apple cinnamon-y. I like the apple cinnamon smell. I love that smell. That's how my house smells. I got to start doing that. Like today? Today. If I walked in, it would smell like apple cinnamon? I'd only buy the Glade apple cinnamon candles. Really? I love that smell. Women know candles, man. What else? What else smells good? Best smell in the world. The grill. Oh, barbecue chicken. When the grill is fired up with barbecue chicken or steak. Oh, good. What about the smell of your wife's hair right after she's come out of the shower and dried her hair off? What about the smell of your wife's hair? I'm in on that. Crickets, crickets. Crickets. What about bee pollen? You smell it. It's yum right into your nose. Fish oil. It's filthy. Not for Lauren. She loves it. Oh, I have to take the tablet for him because it's so bad. And you do take that? You have to take, like, yeah. Well, you don't have to, but you do. I've made it 34 years without ever taking fish oil. You have to take it. I do take it. Do you? You do? I take it every day. I take 2,000 milligram tablets of fish oil, yeah. Great. I read something recently that wasn't saying good things about the fish oil tablets. It's supposed to get your brain going. What?
I read it. It's supposed to, what? Go to theysaid.com and you'll read it. 570-1949. We're talking about things that smell, the greatest smells to you. Chocolate chip cookies. French toast. Awesome. French toast smells good. Gasoline. Some people think that. Seriously. Me too. You like the smell? Love the smell of gasoline. I like the first vapor, but if you've ever gotten it on your hands or tracked it into your car. Willy Woods? When I'm driving, I love that smell, man. Oh. I like the Sharpie smell. You do? I hate that smell. What about fresh cut grass? Yes. Barf. Wouldn't know. Yeah. This M1 Ryan's got it. Call your wife. Yeah, I call my wife. M1 Ryan has it. Ryan, you there? Yeah. This is great. Go ahead. After it rains. You got it. Yes. You got it. Or right before it rains, too. Really? Right before it rains, there's that smell. You know it's coming. I love it. Sticky. Yeah. It's kind of sticky.
But I love that smell. Right after it rains and the dirt gets all wet, I love that. After the rain. You can smell the seasons change, too. Three gay guys and you and me right now. You know what that means? I love Nelson, too. Nelson, did you just say a Nelson reference? Did you just say after the rain? After the rain, I love that song. And me and Woods looked at each other. We did. I looked right at him. I looked at him like, you know what I'm talking about. Don't you, fella. You guys are fantastic. Find it. Find it. The Nelson Twins. Yeah, the Nelson Twins, Gunnar and Matthew. Had a couple of hits back in the 80s. One of the biggest was After the Rain. Oh, I know it. Oh, you know it. What about chicken soup? I like the smell of it. I like it. Oh, wow. Never make fun of any music. I can't. I know. I know. I know. Because you just belted out Nelson. And he played the air guitar. Yes, he did. I don't know if I agree with this one, but we'll see what you think. M1, Julia, go ahead. I would say the beach. Yeah. It just takes my stress away, and there's nothing better than stepping out of your car and smelling the beach air. Unless you're Mikey. Yeah, some of us. I love it.
I love, love, love that smell. Well, we get a little bit spoiled by it now, but I didn't grow up close to the beach. So when I got over the bridge and I got to where the beach was, I would be like, ah. Really? I was telling Mikey yesterday when we went to hit golf balls, I go, I've made a rule that I need to go to the beach three to five times a week to smell it, to see it. Because where I live, I might as well be living in Akron. That's true. Because it's like, I'm like, I don't know that I live in San Diego where I live. So when I was driving to the golf course, I saw the water and it just, the smell, even driving down the highway, you can smell it. And it just blows my mind. M1J Hama. Yeah, the smell of a... someone else's chimney when it's chilly outside. Oh, yes. Dude, you just gave me the greatest vision. That was awesome. It's autumn. Football's just starting. You walk outside. It's cold. You're like, ooh, neighbor's got a fire. Oh, I love it. That's good. I love it. Dude, that's good.
570. Can you light fires here? Yes. Oh, yeah. I just got two good ones, but they couldn't stay on the phone. One lady said puppy dog breath. I love puppy dog breath. Oh, it's gross. Oh, I love it. I don't know why. And the other guy was like, herb in the morning. And I was like, okay, man, you got to go. Thanks, bro. What about baby's breath? Oh, I can't say it. Not the flowers, the babies. Yeah, a little baby. Baby's breath? Little baby. Oh, babies smell good. Their breath? That's what any mom would say. I love it. I like the smell of baby. I like baby's hair, that stuff. Johnson and Johnson. Yeah. They smell so good. We got seven-month-old twins. I love to smell their hair. I did it yesterday at your house. Babies smell good. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I like the smell of leather. Yeah. I think everybody does. I know. Doesn't it? Doesn't everybody like to smile? I've been playing ball for 20 years. I like it, dude. Oh, we know. Do you have leather pants and leather bracelets on right now? And a leather vest? There's no back on the pants. I know. Assless chaps. Yeah. They look great on you. What? It's because I'm riding a motorcycle. I just... Must they be without butt cheeks, though? I don't have to be, but... It's comfortable. M1 Stevo. How you doing, brother? Good.
I love the smell when you walk in at Pet Boys and you smell those brand new tires. That is the best smell. I do like that. Yeah, I like that too. You know what I like? I like the smell. No, I can't say this. Say it. Say it. Potpourri? What? Come on, Sally. I like the smell of bed, bath, and... Dude! What? It smells like a warehouse. No, it does not smell like a warehouse. Yes, it does. I was just there, Michael. Come on. Do you mean bath and body wear or bath... No. I mean bed, bath, and beyond. Oh, yeah, it smells like a warehouse. Bath and Body Works smells delicious. Yeah, it doesn't. You guys think it smells like a warehouse? Yeah. It smells like a Costco. Uh-uh. It smells like metal and linoleum floors. Yeah, I was just there. Oh, you guys are wrong about that one. I like the smell of money. The smell of money? I do. You do? I don't. It doesn't have a smell. It smells like dirty money. Really? In my cocaine dealing days. Seriously.
I love that smell. Lauren O'Brien's, I like the smell of a $20 bill after cocaine. Rolled up my nose. What? Money? 570-1949. 949mikey at gmail.com is our text if you want to get a hold of us by text. Lauren O'Brien gets to pick the movie that we're going to see. We should take a road trip together. I'm in. You want to? Love it, man. Would you do it? Would you guys do it, Lauren? Would you do it? If we had like an 18-passenger van. A limo. Maybe I'd think about it. A limo. Easy, La Jolla. Yeah, easy. I need to spread out, all right? What's the worst road trip you've ever had in your life? Please call. I want to know. I know there's some good ones. 570-1949.

And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. I like a skinny fry. I don't like thick. I don't like thick fries. Woods. I don't know what my point is. I just felt like saying it. Okay. Lauren. I washed my hands like a thousand times. I do too. I love salami. And Jay. I was the guy most voted most likely to snap on FM 94.9. Your road trip? Several. Growing up? Give me one. The gnarliest one we had, I lived in South Bend, Indiana. which is northern Indiana, and was going to school there for a couple years. And we decided we were going to go to Mardi Gras on a whim, which is about a 22-hour drive. And a buddy of mine had literally just gotten his hair cut. And I beat on his door, made him pack a bag, didn't let him shower. He had to throw all his stuff in a bag. We had maybe $150 between us. We went with three girls. We loaded in a Jeep Cherokee, and we drove 22 hours south to...
Mardi Gras. Oh, wow. And it was gnarly. Gnarly. Just because it was a long drive? Five people in the car, all of our bags. I mean, dude, you had no room to move. It was stinky. It was long. I got one. Gnarly. I was driving to Arizona when I was 18. I was driving an old pickup truck, and I had the flu, but I had to go. So I'm driving with the flu, and... I was just blazing, blazing hot with a fever or whatever. I couldn't think of anything worse. It's the middle of summertime, and it's in Phoenix. So it's like 110, and I have a fever. It's dry heat, though. Yeah, so that made it all better. And because it was an old pickup truck, it was starting to overheat. And so what do you do when your car starts to overheat to bring the temperature down? Buy a new one.
That's a good call. That's a good call. But another thing that you can do is you can turn the heater on full blast. Oh, no. It's one of the only things that you can do to bring the temperature in the vehicle down. So I have the flu with a fever and I'm hot and I'm in Arizona. And I had to roll the windows down and blast the heater. Dude. Dante's Inferno. Yeah, seriously. It was miserable. Miserable. M1 Boss, are you there? Yeah, this is M1 Boss. What up? Yo, when I was about 15, my parents took me out to Texas. Woodsy's going to hate this. But I didn't really want to go. And then they just thought I was complaining because I didn't want to be there. But I was really sick. I had an ear infection in both ears. And by the time we got home, it was about a two-week trip, they finally took me to the doctor and they found out that my eardrums were so infected that they were ready to explode and they had to drain them both. Oh, that's gnarly. Yeah, it is. That's brutal. Yeah, my brother Steve, same thing. He took a road trip where they went up into the mountains and one of his eardrums... Ouch. Because of the elevation. And he had to drive back like that. Gosh. That hurts. M1 Garrett. What's up? What up? So, when I was 16 about six years ago,
My family and I went to Belize, Mexico, or right outside of Mexico, and got picked up from the airport from some stranger. Three-hour drive into the middle of the jungle to our resort, right? Well, during the whole drive, he was completely intoxicated, dodging cars left and right. A stranger? Wait a minute. Did you say a stranger? Correct. Well, do you mean... This guy was picking up to our resort in the middle of the jungle. Okay, he was a stranger, but he was also like a shuttle driver? Correct. Got it. For that resort. Lauren? Well, I was in Hawaii by myself on a little road trip. That's weird. Yeah. And people hitchhike all over the place there, I noticed. And so I'm really super cautious usually, but for some reason I kind of let my guard down. I started talking to this guy.
Outside of a church, I don't know why I started talking to him. He had long, gray, frizzy hair, no shirt on, smelled like patchouli, and God knows what. Just your type. Perfect for you. I'm going, yes? She's like, so I made a sandwich out of it. He calls me over, and he's telling me that I have angel energy, and there's angels all around me, and there's angels and demons in this world, and I'm surrounded by angels, and then he hands me his business card to legitimize himself, and he's like, angel specialist on the card. Okay. Just in case you need one or a plumber. Yeah. And he went on and on and on for like half an hour. And then I was like, well, you know what? I'm going to take off. It's getting kind of dark. I'm in the middle of nowhere in Hana in Maui. Really? Yeah. And he's like, well, you know, let's go in the little cafe and we'll get a bite together. I was like, you know what? Actually, I'm going to grab something and take it back to my hotel. Thanks anyway. And he's like, well, if you're going somewhere, I could use a ride.
And I don't know what came over me. I didn't know how to get out of it. So I was like, sure. Really? Oh, wow. Oh, yeah. I gave him a ride. And I didn't realize until he got into my little rental car that he was probably like 6'6". And I let him in the car. The whole car smelled. I had one hand on my pepper spray the whole time I was driving. And he's like, and these are all rural roads. Yeah, and windy. Windy. Dark. And he kept being like, yeah, just a little bit farther. No way, dude. Yeah, I know. Yeah, I know. It was terrible. How did it end? I dropped him off and he said he was just going to stay on a friend's porch and just kind of disappeared into the darkness. Jay. Yeah. When were you in Hana? But yes, I called. I just got that. I just got that. It took me that long to get that it was Jay. It was Jay. It was Jay. Oh. I would have. Did you ever tell your parents that story? Well, the whole time in my head, I was thinking, I'm so selfish. Because this guy is going to slit my throat. And my poor family is going to be like, why'd you get in the car with him? Right. Why'd you get in the car with him? Do they know the story? Matt knows the story. I called him and told him right away. I go, I did something bad. And he goes, you kissed somebody else. I'm like, no, worse.
So I told him the story, and then two weeks later, I was on the other side of the island. Did he really say you kissed somebody else? Yeah. He asked me that. You're like, yeah, but that's not the story. That's not what I'm talking about. That's not why I'm calling you, though. No, but I saw him on the other side of the, complete other side of the island, like, two weeks later, hitchhiking on the side of the road. I was like, oh, my gosh. Yeah. Whoa. Wow. Really stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Don't ever do that, ladies. Yeah, that freaked me out just hearing it. M1 Foxy? Hi. Hi. How are you? Good. Go ahead. Okay, so in February, I took my kids to Mammoth. We go every year. My sister lives up there, so I've driven it a million times. However, I've never driven from San Diego because I used to live up in Bakersfield. So I'm usually taking the 58 to the 395. Well, I'm on the 15, and I'm driving and driving in the car with teenagers, and next thing you know, I'm at Prim State Line. I went to freaking almost Vegas. Oh, no. Yeah, like, two and a half hours in the wrong direction. And then I had to drive all the way back through. And my kids are, like, flipping. It took 10 hours. Oh, my gosh. And it was just that crap. Like, I'd driven to Vegas a million times, too, so it was all familiar. So I'm just like, okay. And I'm like, wait, where's the 395? And then I'm like, oh, my God, we're almost to Vegas. And I knew there was, like, no connection. I had to go all the way back. And it was just this crushing, like.
crushing feeling like oh i did not just do that oh wow you need a tom tom yeah no kidding tom tom girl you could have helped in that situation it was pretty bad las vegas located 242 miles there you go that should help you hey i want to let people know um about something really really cool for kids It's a program called Rains on Maines. And Jay picked Sherlock Holmes. So that means that today is Lauren's pick.
And she has chosen this. Alice Kingsley, will you be my wife? Well, this is happening so quickly. I need a moment. Woodsy just rolled his eyes. Alice, you're back. You're only happy. They don't talk that way. Is this... What's the director? The guy that... Tim Burton. Is it Tim Burton? I think so, yeah. Yep. Wow, weird. Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp's in a Tim Burton. So odd. They are homies. Now, see, I love Johnny Depp. Yeah. Write that down. And he's literally one of my favorite actors. But, man, I couldn't be less stoked about a movie.
Couldn't be. Maybe we'll really like it. I think you will. I think even if Woods liked it, he won't admit that he did. No, I will. I will. If I like it, I'll be like, dude, I was wrong. It was amazing. I think we're going to like it. I do. I think we're going to like it. I mean, it's one of those big, it made the, like, broken records. 116 million. Yeah, in the opening weekend. If you've seen it, let us know. Avatar only made 77 million their opening weekend. So there. When I went to see Avatar, they had a preview for Alice in Wonderland. And I had my 3D glasses on already. And I was like a kid in a candy store. I was so excited. So excited. I have friends who have already seen it twice and love it. There it is. Sienna has six unfortunate celebrity tattoos. One of them is Matt Hugh. That's Mikey's tattoo. The other one is the flaming softball on my back. It's supposed to say Matthew. Yeah. Matt Hugh. Matthew 1128. Matt Hugh. I'm going to start with a guy we all know. His name is Stephen Baldwin. Really? Do we all know him? Well, he wishes we did. Yeah. That's Alec Baldwin's brother. Yes. Yes. Do an extra dig. On his shoulder blade, he has an HM. I will give you all the guesses in the world. You won't know what the HM stands for. He-Man. No. Any other guesses?
Hysterectomy, man. It's hysterectomy. It turns out it's hysterectomy. Huge mistake. Huge mistake. His parents put it on him. His parents branded him with it. I'm sure that's what he's telling people now. Wow. It stands for, you guys are not going to believe this. What? Hannah Montana. No, it doesn't. There's no way. There is no. I'm holding up a picture of him with Miley Cyrus. Showing us a picture. That was me vomiting. Oh, dude. They're staring at the picture. It's for real. Was he in the movie? No, he... You explain it. No, he was going to be... He likes the figurines. Miley Cyrus promised him a guest spot on her show, Hannah Montana, in exchange for Little Tat. That's how desperate that clown is. Oh, my God. That's a bummer. And he's showing it looking really tough. Yeah. And I don't understand why. Have you guys seen Steve-O's famous tattoo? Yes. Steve-O from Jackass? What is it? A portrait of himself. Oh, yeah. On his back, covering his entire back with a thumbs up. It says, yeah, dude, I rock with this autograph underneath. Very humble. Isn't he winking? Yeah. Yeah. Seen it. Oh, dude. Seen it. Right now, I'm holding all the pictures up like a teacher. Yeah. And moving it across so the whole class can see. Thank you.
You're welcome. Thank you, Miss Sienna. You're welcome. Dean McDermott, do we all know who he is? He's McSteamy. Now he's married to Torrice Elling. Anybody I don't know now, I'm going to say is McSteamy. McSteamy or McDreamy. Yeah, McDreamy or McSteamy. If I don't know who it is, I'm just going to say, I don't care if you say a woman's name, I don't know. You can say Heidi Voorhees. I'll go, oh, it's McSteamy. McSteamy. Talking about bathroom etiquette again, dude. Whatever floats your boat. Yeah. Dean McDermott is Tori Spelling's husband. Mr. Spelling, actually. Mr. Tori. He has pictures of her all over his body. He did? He tattooed her all over? Oh, many a times. Even her as a koi fish. Perfectly normal, perfectly healthy. He says that, you know, she's really a beautiful chick. She's sexy. That's kind of cute. With a bag over her head, maybe. That's kind of cute. Is that bad? No. That's pretty bad. Is that bad? Yeah, I would say I would categorize that in the bad category, yeah. I think I would, yeah. Definitely. Kate Gosselin has a Winnie the Pooh on her ankle. Not that bad. Let's see. It's a little Winnie the Pooh looking at a butterfly or something. When you get all dressed up and everything, you know. Not like a big rooster. It's like you have a big rooster. Can you imagine sitting at a giant rooster on their calf?
God, what an idiot. I got defensive immediately. I like Arnold O'Brien and she's like, oh, what, what? You look like a jerk, is that it? She's got a giant rooster on her ankle. Yeah. Yeah, because the guy talked her into it. Very impressionable. It's more like she has a small ankle on her rooster. That was good. That was brilliant, I'd say. Gold. Gold. Oh, wow. Do you know that hero star Hayden Panettiere? Yes. On her back, have you heard about her tattoo? Uh-uh. It says Viviere Senza Rimpianti. Means I love Steve Woods. Which in Italian means live without regret. Uh-huh. However, Rimpianti is not spelled correctly. Oh, no. Yeah. Actually means fettuccine. And she didn't know for a while until, you know, we caught it.
Paparazzi caught a picture. Right. And blew it out of portion. You can't tell in that picture. She is amazing, by the way. Really? Yes. She's also like 12. Yeah, what's little girls? She is not. She's like 19 or 20. She's beautiful. She is. She's beautiful. I have no ill intentions. Yeah, but she's got to be 18. She's got tattoos. No, I think she's... Yeah, Mikey. So naive. You're such a sweet kid. She's got her ears pierced. She's got to be 18. Mikey, you're such a sweet kid. I think she's like 22. Yeah. Yeah, see? No problem. I'm like the same age as her. Exactly. And then the last one is Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. When they were married, they got matching dice on their wrist. Did they really? Yeah. Oh, man. What? They are so trashy. She has pink dice. She's 20. Yeah. On the insides of the wrist. Hayden Pettitier. She's 20. Perfect. She cut her own food. She would have been a freshman when I was a senior. M1 Irish Mexican is on the line. Hey, Mikey. How's it going? Good, man. Hey, I was just going to talk to you guys about the Alice in Wonderland movie. Go ahead. All right. I didn't really know this going in, and what you guys should know is that this is not just a remake of the movie. It's like a sequel to the original. She's going back a second time. I didn't know that going in, so I only would have given the movie like a six out of ten.
But then after a friend explained that to me, I would give it like a 9 out of 10. Johnny Depp is the man in the movie. Yes. Yeah, because I don't know the story of Alice in Wonderland other than it's a girl and she goes down a magic hole. A rabbit hole. We do that here all the time. That's right. I remember it from the Tom Petty video. That's all I know about Alice in Wonderland. Remember that Tom Petty video? Yeah. Don't come around here. Don't come around here no more. That's the only thing I know about it. How does it end, though? I remember she wakes up at home. Yeah, it was all a dream. Did you just give away the movie to me? No. No, because this is the sequel. If it's a sequel, you need to know the ending. This is what happens after she wakes up? I don't know. Is he saying it's a prequel? Is it before? No, no, it's a sequel. So, yeah, you need to know the ending of the first one kind of to help. How does it go? How does the ending go? Yeah. Oh, I don't remember the first one, so I can't tell you. All right, well, perfect. This is helpful. And that's correct. All right. Thank you. She woke up. It was all a dream. All right. That's all we need to know. Hillary, what do you got going on? You going to go see Alice in Wonderland? I'm kind of jealous. I do want to see it. Yeah, good pick. Yeah. It looks really good. What do you got coming up today? Well, yesterday was a really good day for new releases. The Pavement put out sort of a retrospective, like greatest hits.
bought it and brought it with me. So I'm going to play some pavement and breeders and Mumford and Sons because everybody loves them. It'll be good. Them crooked vultures. It's all coming up, as we like to say. Nice. Well, the lovely and talented Hillary is up next. We will come back tomorrow morning at six o'clock and among other things, fill you in on how that movie is. See you tomorrow at six. Mikey shows out late. A Lincoln Financial Media Station. Mikey in the Morning. About the music all day and night. FM 94.9. It's about the music.
