Intros and news start the show. J.R.R. Tolkien is code for “nerd” according to Woods and The Hobbit” is a woman repellant. Lauren calls Woodsie a creep for using the “cooking” line on a girl at a bar. Woods on Sports has funny audio of MLB player at a rave. The Kid loves Pink berry, Mikey loathes Pink Eye. Mikey and Michael Moore agree on a political issue?  The podcast will reveal what it is. 911 call about a weird dude in a hospital gown is a must-hear as well. Tom Tom Girl and Movie Phone Guy’s romance is moving along nicely and now MPG gets to meet her parents in Taiwan. Tom Tom Girl gets a little angry with MPG during the bit she almost allows a human sounding laugh! Pop music is what the heart wants according to Mikey and Miley. The girls just don’t get the brilliance that is the Deftones. A M1 calls in and re-ignites the Healthcare debate. Dave Matthews loves him some Cherry Garcia, especially while high. He then unveils his new instrument: the Gui-drums! Frankie tells Woods he needs to be more relaxed and get his BFF back and introduces his new game “Hug Trivia” that gets weird in a hurry. Flirty MC Mel-Dog wants to play with Frankie but he calls her a pervert. Should a dude sell his Master’s golf tickets that were given to him by his girlfriend now that they’re worth $2000? M1 Fireman calls in to Lauren, Sienna and Frankie’s delight. Hoyle shows off his Mexican speaking skills and silly laugh. The Kid is trying to quit smoking with electronic cigs so that brings out Katherine Hepburn with her “javelin” smokes. Woods then has some serious headphone issues but Jay fixes them. During new releases we hear about the new Scorpions album “It’s time for a German feast!”

health care reformgift etiquetteradio character comedysports memoriesmusic parodydating storiesradiocomedyhealthcaremichael moorethird personhospital escape

Mikey, Woods, Lauren, Sienna and Jay riffed on a cooking pickup line, Judy's third-person morbidity, an escaped suspect found at a bar and the fake romance between TomTom Girl and Movie Phone Guy. On health-care reform, Mikey agreed with Michael Moore that the bill still enriched insurers, while M1 Jenna Lee described losing her mother after a six-week chemotherapy delay and argued for more humane access to care. Dave Matthews presented a disastrous one-man-band contraption, and Frankie transparently used Hug Trivia as an excuse to embrace Woods. The cast also split over whether M1 Masters Girl's boyfriend should keep a once-in-a-lifetime sports memory or sell the suddenly valuable tickets, before finishing another standout bit by translating the Scorpions into a German-feast anthem.

What happened, in order

  1. The No-Cook Cooking Line

Woods recalled successfully telling a woman at a bar that he wanted to cook for her, even though the line worked so quickly that he never had to cook anything.

  2. Judy's Better Place

A listener reported that his apartment manager Judy speaks in the third person and had grimly joked that finding Judy on the ground would mean Judy was in a better place.

  3. Hospital Escape to Happy Hour

The cast told how robbery suspect Albert Louis Thompson II escaped a hospital in a gown with a needle in his arm and went directly to a bar, then improvised a creepy 911-call reenactment.

  4. Mikey Agrees with Michael Moore

Mikey played Michael Moore arguing that the health-care bill preserved a profit-driven insurance system while forcing millions of new customers into it, a criticism the conservative host unexpectedly shared.

  5. TomTom Meets Movie Phone

TomTom Girl and Movie Phone Guy advanced their mock machine romance by planning a trip to meet her parents in Taiwan and bungling a lesson in Taiwanese phrases.

  6. Jenna Lee's Six-Week Wait

M1 Jenna Lee said her mother died of colon cancer at 43 after having to wait six weeks for job-based coverage before starting chemotherapy, turning the policy debate into a personal argument for access and empathy.

  7. Dave's One-Man Band

Dave Matthews unveiled a homemade instrument with a cymbal taped to his guitar and other awkward attachments, insisting it sounded richer while the cast told him to return to the drawing board.

  8. Hug Trivia

Frankie introduced a trivia game in which every wrong answer required a humiliating hug, then deliberately missed easy questions and sounded far happier hugging Woods than Mel Dog.

  9. Sell the Masters Tickets?

The show debated whether M1 Masters Girl's golf-loving boyfriend should use her rare Masters badges or sell them after Tiger Woods's return drove their value from roughly $200 to $2,000.

  10. The German Feast Remix

While reviewing the Scorpions' new album, the cast invented an English translation of the chorus as 'It's time for a German feast' and turned the song into an escalating Oktoberfest joke.
