Wednesday April 14, 2010
Mikey starts the show talking about allergies and admits people will think he’s a Sally with his music picks for the morning. Turns another celebrity, this action star Steven Seagal is a sex fiend who keeps girls as sex slaves. Seagal of course denies the allegations and says now he really will be “Out For Justice”. (rimshot) Sienna reports that in Europe, parents hire an evil clown to stalk and terrify their kids all in good clean fun. Mikey once dated a chick who loudly sang the National Anthem when she was in the bathroom. Woodsy and Jay tell their stories of strange roommates which leads to other weird roommate stories from the gang and callers. The show spouses call in on ‘little hot spot things your spouse does to irritate you. Michael Shannon returns to show off his radio posting genius, the girls give it a try as well. A M1 calls in worried that his girlfriend’s male roommate is creeping on her too much. LOB does some new funny female singer voices. Sienna defines crunk during a talk about what’s appropriate for kids to listen to. Hoyle decides the cast needs to step it up a notch and do wild stunts at the next meet and greet. Jay’s son is now dropping Woodsyisms on him. Irrational fears has Mikey admit his phobia of outhouses. The Kid admits he’s a “violent vomiter”. OJ Simpson wants out of jail to look for the real killer. Woods rants about San Diego parking or lack there of. Frankie misses Brooklyn and tandem bikes, and then he accuses someone of looking into his computer. Wolfgang stops in to praise Ryan Seacrest. Topper shows up late but still hits on Sienna and promotes his Myspace page.

The Mikey Show mixed serious headlines with aggressive riffing, most notably when Mikey, Woods, Lauren, Sienna, and Jay examined Kayden Nugent's allegations against Steven Seagal and later celebrated the rescue of an 11-year-old girl from a swamp. The cast recoiled at Dominic DeVille's weeklong birthday-clown service, swapped escalating roommate disasters, and turned Patsiello Young's two marijuana arrests into a fake 911 call. Mikey also coached the others on hitting the vocal post in song intros, while Sienna's concern about Jenna singing adult lyrics sparked an argument over whether music shapes children or merely repeats an old generational panic. Their domestic 'hotspots' and irrational-fear discussions drew spouses and callers into stories about fake coughs, messes, sleep, rats, possums, and portable toilets. Character pieces supplied the biggest absurdities: Hoyle pitched lethal radio stunts, Frankie admitted invading Woods's email, and Topper boasted about taking jet skis to Dubai while the crew called his behavior creepy.
What happened, in order
Seagal Lawsuit Debate
The crew reported former employee Kayden Nugent's lawsuit accusing Steven Seagal of sexual assault and coercion, then debated why she returned to work while emphasizing that the allegations were unproven and Seagal's law
Birthday Terror Clown
Sienna described Swiss performer Dominic DeVille, whom parents hired to stalk children through birthday week before surprising them with a cake, and the crew recoiled at his terrifying photo.
Roommates From Hell
Mikey, Woods, and callers traded roommate horror stories involving bulk drugs, admitted meth use, an underwear-clad follower, stolen calling-card minutes, two secret girlfriends, and a bloodstained closet.
Twice-Busted Pot Dealer
After reporting that Patsiello Young was arrested twice for marijuana offenses within six hours, the cast improvised a ridiculous 911 call in which the dealer asks police to arrest the officer stopping his business.
Marriage Hotspots
Mikey turned tiny spousal irritations into a call-in bit as Jamie, Kim, Todd, and the hosts argued about open closet doors, fake coughs, abandoned dishes and clothes, scattered mail, and incompatible sleep schedules.
Hit the Post
Mikey demonstrated how to talk over a song intro and stop exactly when the vocal begins, then Woods, Pepper, and Sienna struggled through increasingly elaborate time, weather, dedication, and call-letter challenges.
Kids and Adult Lyrics
Sienna said nine-year-old Jenna loved a pop song about getting crunk and drinking Jack Daniel's, prompting a debate over parental limits, musical influence, and the equally suggestive songs the adults heard as children.
Hoyle's Stunt Show
Hoyle proposed launching Woods across Interstate 8 in a cannon, putting fire ants down pregnant Sienna's pants, and staging a human light-bulb joke while the cast rejected the dangerous ideas.
Irrational Fears
Pepper admitted leaping into bed to avoid imagined hands from The Gate, which led Jay and the others into stories about a house-invading possum, giant rats, outhouses, and toppled portable toilets.
Swamp Rescue Miracle
Sienna reported that an 11-year-old girl with Asperger's syndrome was found alive after four days in an alligator-infested swamp by a church acquaintance who said God guided him to her.
Frankie Reads Woods's Email
In the Frankie-and-Woods sketch, suspicious spam and changed email settings led Frankie to admit reading Woods's messages and propose absurd shared addresses such as Frudzie and Wanky.
Topper Goes to Dubai
Topper barged in claiming he would buy Marilyn Monroe's chest X-ray, had partied with Kobe Bryant, and was flying jet skis to Dubai before the crew mocked his shirtless MySpace photos with teenage girls.

KBCT San Diego, Lincoln Financial Media Station, the new home of The Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. Look at this already, Wendy. Can't even believe it. That happened quick. Happy Hump Day. Yeah. Happy Hump Day. You know, allergic to our cats dander. Of course I am. Of course. Of course. I think you'd make up ailments. Really? Yeah. Well, I'm telling you, Woodsy, that... That cat has a bunch of stuff like dandruff, and I get a reaction in my nose. I get tickles in there, and then I start sneezing. He's real sweet. Yeah. I, unfortunately, have seemed to develop this over the past, like, two years. Yeah? I hate it. Yeah, and I really like cats. Well, that's the difference between me and you. It makes me go like this. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I'm living with right now. Oh, it's a bummer. Prima dollars.
I'm telling you, man. I used to think allergies were a made-up thing. I did, too. Until I got them. And I'm like, oh, this sucks. No, they're real. I did, too. I was like, really? Yeah, exactly. You really need that inhaler, pal? Yeah, exactly. You need that slow nose, do you, Sally? Maybe you blow your nose. Yeah. Maybe try blowing your nose. Yeah, now I'm like, ugh, it's sick. Looks like your eyes got stung by a bee. I hate it. You know, I'm thinking that maybe... Chubby face. I'm thinking that maybe allergies are real, you know? Oh my gosh. He looks like Hitch. You ever seen Hitch? That's what he looks like. Yes. Welcome to the show. It's a fake bit. It's a fake bit. Will Smith? Yeah. Remember when he gets stung by a bee and his face swells up? Mike's like, yeah, it's great. Oh, it's wonderful. He's like, I don't want to talk about it. Wonderfully funny movie. I really liked it a lot. Fourth time is when I really started to remember the lines. My name is Mike. I'm the host of the show. And I go by Mikey on the radio. And I want to let everybody know that I'm picking the music today. And it's guilty pleasures. And so it's going to be bad.
I can't wait. Except, to me, it won't be bad because I really enjoy the songs. But for a lot of people, they're going to go, wow, you know, you really are a Sally, aren't you? Who's it going to be bad to on this show, you think? Me, Lauren, and Jay? Of course. Of course. There's definitely some songs Sienna will like. I bet I'll like some, too. Really? I've got some, I put a couple of guilty pleasures on my list on Friday and I got slayed for it. Mikey, I played Slaughter last week. Yeah. Okay. But people loved it. Yeah. Then heard it. Okay. Slaughter already sounds tough. I don't even know what it is. Sounds tough. Yeah. But not like Miley Cyrus. They're so not tough. They're so not tough. No. I mean, Ace of Base isn't tough. Yeah. Slaughter's so tough. I wonder what those guys would have been like in a prison cell. Oh, my gosh. Prettiest men alive. They were so gorgeous. They were beautiful. Yeah, I'm playing an 80s metal band today that probably you haven't heard of. And it sounds like a joke. No way. I bet I've heard of them. Can I give you just a second of it? Yeah, please. When you hear it, you're going to go, that's not real. That's like.
That's somebody trying to do like a bit of an 80s band, right? We gotta have it. That is 80s. Oh, dude, they were for real, too. Like this, they meant this. They weren't joking. This was, it really was, you know, it was 89, long hair. I bet you Bauman's got it on his iPhone. Is it, what is that, Mike? The band is called Thunder. Oh, my gosh. I've never heard of him. Where'd it come from? The 80s. L.A. But you said it's a bit. Oh, it's not a bit. Oh, it's not a bit. Yeah. It sounds like they were doing a bit. They were dead serious. They were dead serious. I think I've heard that song. In their white leather tassels. And their black pants and their cowboy boots. Oh, man. They were for real. Their hairy chests. Best days ever. I used to look at those 80s dudes and I would think to myself, man, it's going to be so cool when I'm older and I have a...
Badass hairy chest like that. Me too, dude. Me too. I never got it. All I wanted to be was Paul Stanley. I was going to get it. I couldn't wait until I turned 18. Paul Stanley, lead singer Kiss. I wanted to get the rose tattoo on my arm. Yeah. Because Paul Stanley had it and a hairy chest. Yeah. Did it ever happen? No. No. I think I still may get the rose. Really? Yeah. Stop it. Stop it. It takes a man to do that. Oh. There's no better man than Paul Stanley, dude. Oh. Okay. Come on, Jay. It's great. It was great when I was 13. That guy's still got a velvet voice. That's right. I'm Mikey. I'm the host. I'm 38 years of age. No, I'm not. Why do I say that? I'm not. Because you're about to turn 40 and it's scary. Yeah, you are. 40. Has anybody on this program not responded to the Evite? I responded. I responded and I can't go. I know. You didn't see that. We haven't had this discussion yet. I'm going to be out of town, Mike. Look. No. Mikey's having a little birthday celebration. A little birthday party. The lip is quivering. Pepper's going to mess up. Maybe I make a little cake. A tiny little cake with Pepper's face on it. Tiny little cake with Pepper's face. Just get him a cupcake. A little cupcake. A cupcake with Pepper's face. It'll look like a big cake to him. Yeah, it's a normal-sized cake for me. It's like in... I'm so sorry. I know. I'm bummed. Jay Bird, are you going?
100% because I'm a team player. Dig. Yay. Oops. Oh, was that bad? 570-1949. You can text us 949mikey at gmail.com. There's weird stories out there today. There really are. Weird. I was going through the news and I'm like, what, what, what, what? What is this Steven Seagal thing, man? This is brutal. Okay, Steven Seagal. Is being accused of sexually assaulting a former female employee in addition to owning two Russian sex slaves and is accused of trafficking. Are you kidding me? Accused of trafficking women for sex. What? Yeah. Okay. And for those of you that right now are like, I know I know that name. I know I know that name. Why do I know it? You know that name. Steven Seagal is a action karate movie star. He's got the ponytail, the black hair all pulled back in a ponytail. And in real life, I think he's a. He's also a cop. In Louisiana. There's an action figure of Steven Seagal. Of course there is. You know what I mean? I love some Steven Seagal flicks. Yeah. I do. There's a couple. Mark for Death, Genius. Really? Yes. I've never heard of that one. You can take that to the bank. Is that what his line is? Remember that bit? Oh, I love it. You can take that to the bank.
Did they? All right, yeah. So one of his former employees has spoken out, and I'll give you all the details right now. Okay, sorted. 23 years old. Her name is Kayden Nugent, and she's a former model. She claims that she interviewed with Steven Seagal last February for the position of, quote-unquote, executive assistant. Now, she got the job, but when she showed up for work, she learned that he'd been keeping two young female Russian attendants on the staff who were available for his sexual needs. 24-7. 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And they were actually from Russia? Yes. Yeah. This makes me so skeevy. No, there's more. Keep listening. So apparently one of these Russian attendants had recently quit. And so she learned when she started that she's not an executive assistant. She is filling the spot of one of these people in Steven Seagal's mind. That's what she was hired for. 24 hours, seven days a week. Sex slave. What? How does a slave quit? That's a good question. I think by definition, they can't. They're held against their will. By definition, they're held against their will. So how exactly does a sex slave go? You give two weeks notice? Yes, I want to give two weeks. Yeah. You're like, you can't. You can't quit. You're a slave. That sounds like it's not a slave then. Well, I'm sure, I don't know. She may be threatened. Like, I'm going to tell the police. Okay. I'm leaving. Dude.
Yeah, and he knows, okay, fine, whatever. If you keep your mouth closed, here, you can go. Okay. I mean, I guess. I mean, it all sounds weird. There's more. Okay. Weird. Okay. So, apparently, she says the very first night of the job, Seagal treated her, and this is what she says, as his sex toy. She says in the lawsuit that he pushed his hands under her skirt. tried fondling her breasts and forced his hand down her pants. Good Lord. Okay, wait, wait, wait. Question. Yeah. Now, she only worked there one day, right? I think it was a couple days. She worked there? Yeah. I don't know. I'm asking. I don't know how long she worked there. I mean, it doesn't say exactly how long, but it does say the same girl, Caden, says the next day he did the same thing. The next day? What? The next day? Yeah. So what time should I be in? Yeah, 9. Be there at 9. 9 o'clock? Well, if it's 24-7, maybe she never went home. Maybe she's, like, staying there. Dude, this is going to come out, and it's going to be real sore. Oh, it's creepy. It's really weird. Yeah, I mean, I'm guessing he kept her against her will because what rational person would come back to work? You'd go right to the cops. Well, yeah, you'd call 911. Yeah.
So she said the second day he did it all again, sexually assaulted her and forcing her to consume illegal pills. And on the third day. No, she said there were other sexual assaults that followed. And according to the suit, Seagal said my wife wouldn't mind if you and I had a sexual relationship is what he was telling the girls. And she's suing him for more than a million bucks. Seagal's lawyer has come forward. He said that this lawsuit is ridiculous and absurd claim by a disgruntled ex-employee who was fired for using illegal narcotics. Well, I have to tell you, just on the surface, it sounds kind of strange. It sounds almost like too much that she could make up, you know? Yeah, it sounds like more than she could make up. Yeah, I know, but why would one... Like the first day I'm on the job, he forces his hand up my skirt and up my blouse and down my pants. And then I was like, OK, well, I better set my alarm. So I'll be into work tomorrow. That's weird. I got up and I came back to work the next day. It's like if that happens, you call the police. If I'm not mistaken, if I'm not mistaken, I'll probably get filleted for this. But I think something like this has happened to him before. Really? Sexual assault. Some sort of scandal before.
Yeah, I don't know. On a movie set, actually, I think. One of his co-stars is like, creepiest dude I've ever worked with. Guy had his hands all over me. I'll do a little research on that. Yeah. Because I think that happened before. All I can give you is the, and I said this yesterday, all I'll ever give you is what the data that's in front of me says. And the data in front of me says that a woman is claiming this. I don't know anything about Steven Seagal. Yeah, this was all over. But just based on what I know, it strikes me as odd that somebody wouldn't immediately call 911. And at the very least, I would, you know, why would anybody go back to work the next day? You read about stuff all the time where, you know, you keep going back to that cycle of abuse. Maybe she's maybe threatened her, you know, threatened her with her life or you never know or threatened her family. Or maybe he was waving ridiculous amounts of money in front of her and she needed it. I mean, you never know. Maybe she thought he was coming on to her and she thought she made it clear. I don't know. Who knows? Yeah, I mean, we never know. It's a valid question. Until this comes out, but I think it's pretty assorted, man. It's pretty nasty. It's really weird. It's very dungeon-esque. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Well, we'll see as it goes on. More stuff will keep coming out. Yeah, I mean, it's crazy. I think he's been hanging out with Ben Roethlisberger. Oh, stop. Really? Their haircuts kind of look similar. Yeah, they do.
If you said that the haircut of him and a 1987 hockey player... Or Billy Ray Cyrus. Or Billy Ray Cyrus. Let's see. They called it the creep when you go get a haircut. Can you give me the creep? Give me the creep look. No problem. Toyota is stopping the sales of a Lexus? Yeah, more problems for Toyota. Those of you that don't know, Lexus is the high-end... Division of Toyota. Yeah. Toyota said yesterday that they are temporarily stopping sales of the 2010 Lexus GX460 SUV. I'll say it again. The Lexus 2010 Lexus GX460 SUV. Why? Because apparently Consumer Reports issued one of those rare don't buy warnings because there's concern that the handling problems could cause a rollover during sharp turns. Yeah. That there's a lot of handling problems. So Toyota said they're stopping sales right now. They're going to conduct their own tests and try to figure this out. What a beating. So if you have one of those cars, the 2010 Lexus GX 460, then be careful on the road making sharp turns. I think that the Toyota is a good product. Yeah. And I think that they've always been reliable. That's all I drove for years. Reliable vehicles. So I feel bad for a good brand name that I've.
my family's always used. I do too. This has taken a beating. A beating. You can't feel bad for them if they make mistakes like that. Well, that's why I feel bad for them because they made mistakes and they're getting like, their whole name is just getting like, if I'm that guy at Toyota that's like the design guy, I'm like, I probably feel... Like, just, like, my world is caving in around me. Yeah. And they're a good company that's trying to do good, and they're just like, they can't get out from under it. And the owner of Toyota, too, he took it over. It's like a fan, you know, his grandfather started it or something. Bill Toyota. Yeah, no, I'm sure that's not his name. But, I mean, it's just, I don't know. It does make me mad, though, that reports have come out that they knew about the gas pedal issue and didn't say anything or report anything for months. Yeah. Which, you know, that's kind of scary. You can call us. You want to talk on the radio? You got to get through Jaybird, but, you know. Good luck. That's all right. That's not that tough. 570-1949 or text 949mikey at gmail.com. A baby elephant. I love these stories. Was born at the wild animal park.
Wow. And I bet its name is making big news just what they named it. That always happens. Dumbo? It doesn't have a name yet. Dumbo. Good call. I'm going to name it Dumbo. I like Dumbo. We need your help naming it, I'm sure. They're going to want everyone's help. The baby's mom's name is Swazi. Mm-hmm. Why don't they do what my wife does and they name it Elephant-y? Sketchy. Like Barry? Every little kid does it. Like, I'm going to call him Elephant. Yeah, Elephant. That's what my wife does when she names stuff for our sons. If it's a sheep, she's like, oh, look, it's sheepy. It's a good move. My bear was Barry. Yeah, so is Jake's. Very original. I go, really? I go, why don't we name him something? She goes, like, what? I go, like, Mr. Bittles. And she goes, why? And I go, I don't know, because it's cute. Mr. Bittles is a good one. Mr. Bittles. Yeah, Mr. Bittles. Jenna has these littlest pet shop. Like, she's close to 200 now, these little plastic animals. And every single one has a name. No way. And she quizzes me on their names. Like, what's this one? And I'm not telling you, I get like a 90% every time. That's pretty good. Because I came up with a lot of the names. Because it's hard for her to keep thinking of names. What does she keep? What is it? Littlest Pet Shop. Littlest Pet Shop. Yeah. What is it? They're tiny, tiny little plastic animals. I'll bring what it like. Show me with your fingers.
That's the size of a golf ball. Yeah, a little bigger. She's got 200 golf ball-sized toys everywhere? Plastic? Plastic, yeah. Where does she keep them? Our dog, our puppy, got one of them over the weekend. And these are her... She'll get her another one. She's obsessed. I know. I know. I'm going to. I know. She did. But I had to show her that the dog got it because she was looking all over the house for it. She's like, I don't know where the fourth lizard is. It's the orange one. I don't know. Did she notice if you took one away? Oh, yeah. She would notice for sure. Well, she noticed that she has four lizards and an orange one was missing. 200? Yeah. Where do you keep them? We have like a huge case of them. A case? What do you mean by a case? We own a zoo. Yeah, we own. We have a zoo. We had a room built for the smart kids. No, it's like a big, like a bin that she throws them in. And when you buy them, they're not just animals. They come with accessories. And we have. They come in a bin? No, they come in little plastic. I'll bring them. Her birthday's coming up. I have to know where they're kept there. I'll freak out. Why are you freaking out about it? I want to know where they're kept in a bin. It's like a big bin, like this. Like a Rubbermaid? Yeah, like a bin.
That's not enough for me. Like that. I need to visualize. Like a Tupperware container. Like a Tupperware container. But a huge one, and I have... Like a mail crate. There's like two of them now. Like a mail crate, but bigger. It's overflowing, and it comes with accessories like sunglasses and chairs and, you know, baby pushing strollers and food and everything. Are they expensive? Well, when you buy 200, it is. I don't even want to think about how much money we've spent. Do you know how much one is? You can get them for like five bucks. Really? You can buy like packs of two for five bucks. It's crazy what kids are into. We have like 15 Littlest Pet Shop houses too in her room. Like big houses. Makes me think like what do I got to get for my kids when they get older? The stuff they're going to want. Just wait. Model airplanes. Yeah. It's a beating. Boys like the Thomas the Train stuff. So Jake. Boys like transportation things. Yeah. Jake got bored of it. He did? He grew out of it. He's done with it. He's over it. Over Thomas. 5701949. 949mikey at gmail.com. Another earthquake. Weird. Weird. Right now? What is going on? A lot of them. Yeah, no, not right now. People are pulling over on the side of the road. No, not right now. It happened in China yesterday at about 749 a.m. local time there. And it was a 6.9 magnitude earthquake. There are nearly 400 people that died. Wow.
Man, dude. Yeah. You know what it is. It's because, you know, all these plates are connected. So when they move, it just moves other stuff. Yeah, because Spain had one. I mean, they're absolutely everywhere. And we have a record amount here in California that we've already had in what were four months into the year. Yeah. I think we had one last night. Yeah. I think I felt one. There's a lot of little aftershocks. But in China, 8,000 people have been reported injured as well. So it was a big, you know, it was a big shake over there in Qinghai province. Qinghai province. Yes. 570-1949. Too soon. 949mikey at gmail.com. Too soon. And call us. Or you can text us if you want to. We'll do either one. The big Charger news today to talk about. Yeah. Indirect. Indirect. Indirect Charger news. It'll affect us as a Charger. It will affect you. As Charger fans. A little bit later on, I want to hear it. Well, let's hear it now. Tell me about, it's because I'm so curious, the parent that hired the evil clown to scare their kids. I cannot. Brace. Oh, my God. Brace yourself. Wait till I show you the picture. Brace yourself. I don't know if I can look at the picture. Brace yourself. It's called the Dominic Devil. What? What's the name of the clown? Dominic Devil? Demonic, maybe? No, Dominic, maybe. Dominic Devil? Dominic DeVille. Dominic DeVille?
Cece's brother? Yeah. That's my brother Dominic. Dominic DeVille, we're going to say. And it's an evil clown. Basically, parents are going to lose their mind. I'm already. This originated in Switzerland. And the guy is still there. But a lot of people are on board with it. And it's crazy. So what happens is parents hire this clown. And for the whole purpose of scaring your children. What country? In Switzerland. Okay. And so what happens is this devil stalks kids. Oh, my gosh. For a week. Sends them chilling text messages, making prank phone calls, and setting traps in letterboxes. So, like, your mailbox. Letterboxes. Are you kidding me? He posts notes warning children they are being watched, telling him that they're going to be attacked. Stop it. It's true. This is a real story. Wait till I show you the picture. Why? For what? You're going to die. Okay. Because, you know, they say that it's a birthday treat hired by mom and dad. Really? And the attack involves being splatted in the face with a cake. Of course it does. The clown's one and only aim is to smash a cake into the face of his victim when they least expect it during the course of seven days during their birthday week. So the boys and girls, apparently, like, sometimes the kids will obviously be really scared and the parents will call it off because they feel bad. But sometimes... Really? Like, they finally get a conscience? Yeah. It's called hell week. They don't want to send him to therapy.
So then, but for the most part, the clown makes it all the way to the birthday time, shows up, and the clown looks terrifying. When do you see this? Shows up to the, not to, they wouldn't go to the person's, like, never break into a house or show up at work or anything like that. But it's always when the parents are around. And the parents say the kids love being scared. That's why they do it. Sure. I know exactly what you're thinking right now, Mike. I bet you do. You're thinking, I'm so glad that wasn't around when I was a kid. Because my brothers would have hired him. I have a picture of the clown. Dominic DeVille. When I showed you guys, you may all just like... It's a particular clown? Yes. It's a clown. So it's one guy. It's a guy. It's Dominic. It's so scary. She's brother. How old, kids? It doesn't say. Average age. Birthday, probably, I'd say 8 to 12. Ready? Okay. I'll post this picture later on the blog so you can see this clown. My gosh, it's so much worse. It's so bad. It's so much worse. It looks just like the movie Killer Clowns.
That dude is following. I want to throw up. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Get it out of my hand. I'll post it during the commercial break so you guys can see it. This is why when my wife goes, let's go to, you know, Europe. I'm like, I don't want to. You know why? Because the culture is so different. In that culture, that's cute. I'm like, what culture? Mordor? Where do they live? Mordor? That's the scariest thing I've ever seen. Of course it is. That dude makes Pennywise look like a teddy bear. Yeah. Of course it is. Oh, my gosh. It's ridiculous. It's like a grown-up Chucky. Can you imagine the week of this? You wake up in the morning. You're like, you're 10, 11. You're like, oh, God. Yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And you walk to the bus stop. You're like, I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. Yeah. It's almost worse. It's almost worse if it doesn't come. I'll be with Garrett. Is that right? And we are going to be talking to some bands. I saw the lineup of people that I get to sit in on interviews with. I saw it yesterday. Jumped out of my bed screaming like a little kid. Did you? Yeah, ecstatic. The Dead Weather, it's Jack White's band. Sweet. We get to interview those guys and Grizzly Bear and XX and Hockey. I'm like, it's going to be so cool. I wish I could go. It's going to be so fun. So I'm going to represent. I'll represent the Mikey Show real good. My friend Sarah called me yesterday. She won the Random Act of Kindness. No kidding. I thought that was a band when you first said it. No, it's the contest that we're doing to give away the Coachella tickets. She's like, did you have anything to do with that? No, but that's really cool. That's awesome. That's great. I'm so excited, dude. Let's do a little bit of this. Speaking of excited, you're playing my song. Let's get it.
Well, the trouble is not going away for Big Ben Roethlisberger. He had to meet with Commissioner Roger Goodell yesterday regarding the charges of sexual assault that have been dropped against him. He still had to go meet with the big guy for a second time. I'm sorry. I'm totally messing up. But anyway, he had to go meet with Roger Goodell, and he was leaving the office, and they managed to grab him for a very quick soundbite. Do not blink. You might miss it. Cut one. Very productive meeting. It's a serious matter that we take serious, so we move forward. Yeah, it's a serious matter that we take serious. That's what he said? Yeah. That's it? He said it's a very productive meeting. It's a serious matter that we take serious. Thank you, Captain Avius. Compelling. That we take serious. Yeah, very rich and compelling audio from Big Ben this morning. Thanks, Ben. And a lot of people, man, are calling for him to be made an example of because if you think about it, you know, the Steelers just let go. of of santonio holmes for something way less than what big ben did and he basically lost his job and they're like hey you got to do something to this guy he lost one of his sponsors yesterday uh plb sports who makes big ben's beef jerky i don't understand if the charges were dropped why is that conduct detrimental to the team bro and it's the second time it's happened this guy in a year in a year sexual assault of a sexual nature right
It's conduct detrimental to the team. It would make more sense to me if he was, like, prosecuted. Well, for sure, but still. My guess is behind the curtain, maybe the girl got bought out. Maybe there was a little truth to it, and I don't know. I had read that she didn't want a trial, which makes it really hard to prosecute a case like that. I think there was, like, a grain of truth to it. I don't know. And maybe the commish knows that? Could be. And maybe he's like, well, bottom line is, dude, he's a representative of the NFL. This is the second time he's been in trouble in a year for sexually assaulting a girl. You're going to want to have a conversation with that guy, are you not? Yeah, stay out of bars and all that stuff. Stay out of bars and all that. And, dude, remember who you are. Remember who you represent and what you get to do for a living. Well, the latest move by the Denver Broncos should have Chargers fans super happy. They traded Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins for a second-round pick in next week's NFL draft. Brandon Marshall is... An elite, elite receiver. He is a stud. He's a stud. I mean, he's a prototypical receiver. He's great. He's very, very lean. He's very lithe. But, no, he's a stud. And so he's going across the country to the Dolphins. You've got to be excited about that. He's a beast. Yeah, he's a beast. Did you say what they got? A second-round pick. Second-round pick. In this year's draft and a second-round pick in next year's draft.
Wow, man. Yeah, so he is heading cross country, and that's good for Charger fans. Yeah, get him out. Tiger Woods has officially submitted his entry to this year's U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. It's June 17th through the 20th. Yeah. Another one of the majors. He's going to be playing in that. Probably play a couple of tournaments in between, but that's obviously the big one. Yeah, I wonder when he starts winning again. I know. Probably soon. You think he'll do it before then? I bet you he wins one of the next two tournaments he plays in. Yeah. Yeah, I bet he does. Because I think he was feeling a little bit at Augusta, obviously, after his first round. Yeah. And then the Yankees won their home opener yesterday, and it was pretty cool. They got their rings from last year because they are the world champions. And it was a cool moment because Hideki Matsui, who signed with the Angels. Was there because they were playing each other. Right. He got the biggest ovation of the day, even more than the Yankees. And the whole Yankee crowd was chanting MVP, MVP. Because.
He's gone, and he really helped us win the World Series last year. When you say us, you mean you Yankee fans. Me and the Yankees. I was on the team. I didn't play. But you were on the team. Supporter. And what they did to him, too, when he came out to get his ring, the Yankees are such pranksters. They gave him a box, and in it was a tin ring. And he went over to the line with all his other guys, and he looked at it, and he's like, really? And looked over at him, and he's like, really? This is your bit? A tin ring? Talk to me, Woodsy. Yes. If you are an angel. Right? I'm an angel. You are an angel. Yeah, if I'm an angel. You're a California angel, and they do that. And there's Matsui looking at it, giggling his old teammates, blah, blah, blah. Do you care? Do you not care? You don't care. You think it's funny. You think it's great. You think it's great because it was Jeter pulled the move on him, switched it out with a little fake ring, and no, you're excited for the guy, man, because it's a fraternity, those guys. They get it. To win a world championship, they're like, They're stoked for their new teammate, and he's lighting it up there. So, man, it was a very cool moment. I got home and watched the home opener, and it was good. They do that during the national anthem? They do it at the very beginning of the game. After the national anthem, they're going to give the rings out and stuff. It was really, really cool. Did I ever tell you guys that I had a roommate, and I would come home, and for reasons that I still do not know to this day, at the top of her lungs, she would sing.
The national anthem in the bathroom. And I don't know if she was doing it because she was practicing for doing it somewhere. Was she like a singer or an actress or something? Don't know. Don't know. You didn't ask her questions? No, I was embarrassed. He was naked in his room with his laptop. This was before that. It's a calculator. They didn't have laptops. We lived in a house where there was a whole bunch of people. And I would come home and it was before the time that I would normally come home sometimes. I'd come home about noon and I'd get home about 11 and I would hear her. And I mean, really giving it her gusto. Oh, hello. Oh, as hard as you could. I mean, you're giving it every ounce of your being. Can you see? In your bathroom. In the bathroom that was a bathroom. She thought she was alone? Alone. So what's the problem with that? I'm just curious what that's about. There's good acoustics in the bathroom? More than once? Oh, yeah. Try it. Multiple times. If you sing in the shower, you're amazing. Yeah. I always do. You're like, I cannot sing like this any other time. Hey, listen. If it's Lady Gaga, I kind of understand, you know? The national.
Anthem? Really? But that's like a really straining, like you're testing your voice on that one. Yeah, there's a lot of range. Poker face is not as much fun. It's way more fun. If I was living with multiple people, it would not be something that I'd be willing to throw out there in case somebody heard me. I would be mortified. Did you guys ever have the strange roommate? Are you kidding? The strange roommate. I've had the strangest roommates that you could ever, ever, ever imagine or encounter. Give me one. Well, my roommate in college. I haven't really talked to him in years, but decided to. Well, this is when I was in South Bend, Indiana. I was going to Holy Cross, which is where Rudy went. You've seen that movie before I went to Loyola. Thought he went to Notre Dame. Yeah. I mean, the goal when I started there was. Yeah, I'm going to work my ass off and I'm going to get into Notre Dame. Don't beat yourself up, dude. That's a great school, okay? I know. It's a great school. I know. And it's not the Texas Longhorns where I went. I know, Bark Mountain. But it's a great school. I know. It's a great school. It was a lot of fun. But my roommate, my roommate was the guy that would hang out with the townies. Like, he wouldn't hang out with people at the school. He would hang out with the dudes that were born, raised, lived, never left South Bend. And so he used to, like.
to deal drugs. Your roommate did? My roommate. And when I say, I'm not talking about moving a little bit of pot, a couple quarter bags here and there. I'm talking about pounds and pounds of mushrooms and marijuana and name it. Are you kidding me? I walked in from class one day and it was him, four dudes sitting around our kitchen table with probably a four foot high pile of mushrooms and they were putting them in baggies. And I walk in and I'm like... Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. We're dead. Like, what's up, dude? I'm like, I'm going to my room. No way. It was brutal. You and I had the same roommate. Oh, my gosh. And it used to, every morning, I worked at a bar. And so, dude, this is when I was like, my partying days were, I partied, but it was kind of behind me because I was working and going to school. And I would get home from the bar at like 2. And have to get up and go to class at like 8.30, 9.30. And I was awoken to the smell of marijuana every day of my life through my vents. And I'd be laying in bed going, disgusting. Terrifies me just thinking about it. Oh, dude, I waited for the door to get kicked down every single day. I had a roommate that I came home and it was, there were eight garbage bags, like the giant garbage bags and they were full.
And at first I was like, a mushroom. I was kind of, no, no. It was like the red since a million, something crazy. And he was like, yeah, they were garbage bags full. And at first I was kind of like, yeah, no, get out of my, cause I actually own the house. I thought. I am going away forever. Didn't you guys wonder why your friends always wanted to go to your house? Oh, yeah. It was the same house. If I went to bed at a reasonable time, people would show up with kegs. And it was like the party was always going. I'd wake up. There'd be people everywhere. I was like, who are you people? My bed was an ashtray. There were beer cans everywhere. The best one. I was so glad when it ended. I've told you guys a story about how my dad kicked me out of the house when I was 19 for running up the phone bill. Came and visited my friend here in San Diego. She was going to San Diego State. And I had to find a place to live. So I went out and looked at this place in El Cajon. And it was in this beat up, real beat up old apartment. And it was like on the third or fourth floor. And I look at it and it's kind of dirty. And this girl is looking for a roommate. And so I look at the place and it's definitely within the price range, which was like $4 a month or whatever. And she sits me and she says, so what do you think? And she's very anxious to get me to want to get it right away.
unwilling to commit because I don't know and I'm kind of scared. I'm out on my own kind of deal. She sits me down at the kitchen table and says, well, I just want to tell you something. Occasionally I do crystal and I just need to let you know that. Oh my gosh. And my heart is like 19 years old fat looking at her just scared to death. I was so scared. Did you move in? No. Dude, I was terrified. That scares me. Call us if you have weird roommate stories. Horror stories. Yeah, roommate horror stories. 570-1949 where they did something weird. See, I don't have a horror story. Like, I actually have been really lucky with roommates. But my freshman year, I came to college and it was set up in a suite, which meant there were three dorm rooms and then a common room. So there were six people total. Actually, they had taken more applicants than they had enough boarding for the first year. So I got stuck with the triple bit. So there was actually seven of us, and I was in one room with three girls, and there wasn't enough room. So basically you got put into a lottery system, and when a room came up, your number came up, and you get a room. So anyway, I got along instantly with everyone in my suite, except this one girl, she was Korean. She showed up with a Korean posse.
I'm not kidding you. Like, spoke Korean the whole time, only hung out with them. The freshman had to show up early to do orientation. And she didn't even make it to the first day of school. She was like, I'm out. I don't like this school. Oh, my God. We didn't start yet. And then her friend told us, she was like, she's going through a rough patch. Her godfather just killed her father. And, like, the weird, like, but we never, like, talk about it. Her name was spelled with, like, a thousand letters. And she was like, yeah, but just call me. I can't remember she said Kim or something. But, yeah, but that was, like, the weird. She, like, came, was gone and out in the night. And then instead of waiting for my lottery number to come up, I just got to talk to the university. I was like, can I just move? Yeah, move over. Move a night. For sure. Yeah. 570-1949. Text us 949mikey at gmail.com. M1 Whitney. Hey, my boyfriend had this really weird roommate who would sit kind of, you know, near the doorway in the middle of the night, leave his door open, and he would wait. for you to come out and follow you around the apartment. What? Oh. Yeah, in his underwear, too. What the heck? So as you walked around, he would follow you, and would he talk to you? Yeah, he would just talk about the most random stuff ever, and it was a small apartment, so, you know, you would walk, like, four feet, but he would follow you around. The first time you saw a man following you in his underwear, did you say anything to him? I mean, about the underwear. Did you say...
Oh, that's odd. You're following me in your underwear. Did he have night vision goggles on? Yeah. Oh, wait. Yeah. Hey, are you going to get a soda? If you are, can you grab me one? Sitting there in a rocking chair and night goggles on. Hey, lady, are you going to... He's calling you lady, you're 20. Hey, lady. Oh, wow. Are you going to get a soda pop? Yeah. Can you grab me a tab? A tab? I have a tab soda pop in the refrigerator. Me and RC. Can you get me an arson shoulder? Weird. Thank you, Whitney. Thank you. M1PA. Are you there? Yeah. What's up with your roommate or your former roommate? I am from college. Came in. Turned on the light. He's sitting on my bed in his underwear. Walking back and forth. Just stuffing his face full of Oreos. Oh, my gosh. Dad. He stopped. He looked at me. He took a big gasp. crawled across the room, back into his bed, wrapped himself in blankets, and just act like nothing happened. Good night, dude. See you, bro. Wake me up for class, all right? Stuffing his face with Oreo. I have a feeling some of Jay's roommate's stuff was involved in that. Yeah, I'm not kidding. I had another dude my freshman year of college, one of my nine schools that I went to when I went to Texas Tech University. He had a girlfriend that lived in Spain.
I used to come in and he was always on the phone. I'm like, this is ridiculous. Well, I found out he was using my calling card to call his girlfriend in Spain. So me and my buddies, he had a, not a Trans Am, a Firebird. We took his Firebird out to the middle of a cornfield in Lubbock and did donuts with it for about five hours and then left it there. Really? Payback's the bitch, pal. Wow. He's calling right now a radio station telling a story about Woods. For bad roommates. Yeah, right. This guy took my Trans Am one time out into a cornfield and did donuts in it for four hours. Because he thought I was using his calling card. Because he thought I was using his calling card. He was using my calling card. My parents call me and go, who do you know in Spain? I'm like, nobody. M1 Fuller? Yes. What happened with your roommate? A couple years ago, I'm living with two of my best friends. And one of my roommates, he was living with one of his girlfriends. And he had a second girlfriend at the same time. I'm talking like two lives with two girlfriends. Nice work. We had to cover for him all the time. Oh, dude. Did you like the girlfriends? I liked the one that he was living with. She was really cool. And you had to hide from her that he had another girlfriend? Yeah. Oh, that's brutal. We had to do the whole thing. So he had a room over at your place where he kept his other girlfriend and then he lived with another one. He kept her.
When the first girlfriend that he lived with would be at work or out of town, the other girlfriend would come over. That is disgusting. Was your roommate named Jack Tripper? Yeah. Good Lord. That's terrible. Finally, we were going to move Maddie out of the house. I probably shouldn't have used her name, but we were going to move one of my daughters out of the house. She looked and looked and looked and finally found a place to move into. We packed all her stuff up and moved it. And I actually went over and met the girl first that she was going to move in with. And the girl had all the right answers. No drugs, no drinking, no smoking, nothing in the house. And so we moved Maddie in. And I said, good night. Give her a hug. Say goodbye to her. You cry a little bit. You cry a little bit. And you're like, oh, our little girl's all grows up. I get a call. And she's, dad, come get me. I was like, what do you mean come get you? She goes, her boss has showed up. And he's gone and bought groceries for us. And now he keeps walking in my room and saying, you need anything? You need anything?
I said, okay, that's just weird. Just shut your door. She goes, I have. And she goes, when I looked at the closet door, there was blood all over the closet door. What? And she said, yeah, I asked her about it. And the guy that was living there before tried to commit suicide. Oh, perfect. And she said, then I walked out in the living room. They were drinking. They were smoking. And I was like, okay, I'm coming to get you. That night? That night. First night. First night. Just went and got her. Oh, that's awful. Were they smoking weed? You know, I don't know what they were smoking. It was just, I think it was, I think maybe it sounded a little stronger. Oh, that's awful. Mama Cita. Yeah, Mama Cita. Holy cow, Jane. You're like, my baby. Yeah, my baby. I'll come get you right now, baby. Oh, 100%. 570. They're like, everything's going to be okay. Yeah. There's good people out in the world. Man, what a weird thing. Guilty pleasures. A little envy. I'm Michelle Branch. I thought it was Avril. You're okay with this? It's all right. Really? I thought I was going to get killed. When I'm not in the United States, well, when I'm not stateside, when I'm not in the continental United States. The mainland. When I'm not in the mainland, I'll crank this in the rented Mustang. Oh, wow.
Wow. And my wife goes, do you have to be thousands of miles away from the mainland to feel safe to play this? And I go, yeah. Yeah, Woods is nowhere near here. Yeah, Woods is nowhere near here, so you can't hear me doing it. Did you guys hear about the guy in Albany, Georgia, speaking of pot, that was arrested twice the same day? Yeah, it's not greasy. Not greasy at all.
My buddy Mark tried them. What'd you think, Mark? I tried the El Pastor tacos. What's up with the pineapple? Let me tell you about the El Pastor tacos, man. We marinate it for 24 hours, and then we grill it with grilled pineapple. Delicious, sweet, sour, spicy, all at the same time. Hey, Brian from the Nervous Records. What are you doing here hanging out with Mark and Caesar? Hey, Tim Piles. We're just eating some food. Really? Are you sure you're not cutting a commercial? No, man, we're just having a conversation. There's a really big thing going on at your Honda dealer right now. It's called Honda's Really Big Thing Sales Event. There's this special lease deal on the 2010 Honda Accord, which ALG picked for having the highest resale value in its class. It's a great voice. It's Hinder. Is it? Sounds like Nickelback. It's Hinder, and the song is called Without You.
And it's a guilty pleasure of mine that I enjoy in the privacy of my own home. What I do is I sit at my desk and I tap my hand on the desk. I'll do mine next week. You'll do your guilty pleasures? Yeah, 100. Oh, dude, I'm so in. I love guilty pleasures. It really lets you see what kind of a geek somebody is. What kind of a little nerd I am. Yep. Should we all do them? Yeah. Sure. Like for the next week? Well, Jesse had a great point this morning. Jesse's our overnight DJ. I said... The theme today is guilty pleasures. And he goes, aren't all of yours guilty pleasures? Good point. It has to be the ones that, you know, if you're listening to in the car and someone pulls up next to you, you kind of turn it down. I constantly do that. I do too. I have bands and I'm like, and I tell my wife, I'm like, don't tell anybody that I listen to this band. And she's like, all right, I won't. Please tell me one. Please. Third Eye Blind. Oh, that's fantastic. Woods. Huge fan. Huge fan of Third Eye Blind. That's so great. I would have never pegged you. I would never have told you. Not that one. There's so much more than that. Oh, not that one. There's so much more than that one. I constantly pull up the red lights and turn the radio down. I don't want the person next to me to know what I'm listening to. They'll judge me. Tonic is another one. Oh, wow. You know them? Yes, of course. Oh, yeah, I like that song. Great song. It's a good one.
Let's see. Sienna. There's five people on the Mikey Show, by the way. It's myself, Woodsy, Pepper O'Brien. Her real name's Lauren, but we call her Pepper. Sienna. Yeah, we do. Yeah, we do. You can use any of them. 570-1949. That's right. Thank you, Sienna. I really appreciate you, Sienna. Do you? Yes. I'm going to do my, when I do that now, I just imitate Woods doing it. Like, I don't even do it in my voice. I just imitate Woods going, do you? Do you?
Tell us about the guy in Albany that was arrested twice in the same day. Patsiello Young. Patsiello Young. Of course that's his name. He was arrested on Friday after a traffic stop. He had a little run-in with the law and they discovered he had some marijuana in his possession. But that wasn't the only run-in he had that day. Officials received a tip six hours later that Patsiello was... I love his name. Patsiello Young. It's fun to say. He was also setting up a drug deal six hours later, and he was rearrested. He's 26 years old. He had two ounces of marijuana on him during the traffic stop, 12 grams in his car during the second arrest. Wow. Yeah, he's genius. He didn't get arrested the first time, huh? Well, you would think. Two ounces? No, he did. He got bailed out. Yeah. He got released on bond. Six hours later. And then six hours later, somebody was like, I think this guy's trying to sell some weed. Wow. I wonder what that might have sounded like. Phoned in to 911. 911, what is your emergency? It's 911. Yes, it's 911. Hey, man, there's a cop here right now trying to interrupt my business. Sorry, say that again, sir. There's a cop here right now, and he's trying to interrupt my business. Okay, what is he doing? Come on in, man. Come in, pal. Come in. Oh, wow. Sir, please let the officer in the room. He's in the room right now.
Okay. I'm trying to sell my pot. He's trying to stop me. Oh, okay. I'm a businessman. I understand that, sir. Thank you. And what is it that you'd like me to do for you? Send a cruiser down here, take him away. You want me to send another officer there? To take him. To take the other officer away? Yep. I'm not sure I can do that, sir. Is there any way I can talk to that officer so I can understand more what's going on? Sure enough. Hang on. Sure enough. Give me the damn phone. Hello? Yes. Is this a police officer? Yeah. This is Officer Johnson. Hello, Officer Johnson. What seems to be the problem? Well, this little hayseed is selling marijuana and is getting upset that I'm about to arrest him. I am not. And bust his ass. I'm selling pot. Yeah, that's marijuana. Okay. Little hick. What would you like me to do? Nothing. I mean, I've got this guy under control. I mean, you're obviously not going to send a cruiser down and arrest me. I'm the police. You're stepping on my scale. Dude, you shut your mouth, okay? Shut it. I'm not going to do this all day. You're an idiot. Who are you? You're an idiot. I'm a police officer. I'm an idiot. Yeah, you're an idiot. You may be a businessman, but you're an idiot. All right, I'm an idiot. What you're selling is illegal.
Yeah, I don't. So this is 911. Why would he call 911? You're burning up my minutes. What would you like me? Honestly, what would you like me to do? Yeah, he wants to talk to you again. I'm going to go get my handcuffs. Okay, okay. Hello? Yeah. I got to go because I'm almost out of minutes. All right, sir. Okay. For calling 911. All right, bye. Bye-bye. Thank you for calling 911. I like how she whispers. She's whispering because she doesn't want to upset the poor guy. I know. Do you guys have weird? Things that upset you, that irritate you with your spouse. I call them hotspots. Rebecca and I were, you know, talking about this a couple of weeks ago. But Rebecca does this thing. My wife Rebecca does this thing where she leaves the closet door open during the day. Wow. That's horrible. Okay. Is the evil clown in there? Yeah.
I'm going to come out and get you. C.C. DeVille or Dominic DeVille. It's a very distracting thing because the sunlight screams in through that door. Screams in. That's what the sunlight. No. He's Edward. No, I'm sparkling. And I've asked if she could just please keep that door closed because it's so, it's right in my face. What are you doing in there? I'm trying to, I'll tell you what I'm doing. I'm trying to enjoy some peace and quiet. In the nude. Without distraction of the light screaming in my face. Yeah, it's pretty hard to see on your laptop when there's sun crawling in the room. Okay. I understand that you think it's odd. I'm just telling you that I've asked, please, during daylight hours. Good idea, pal. What? Why don't you get up and shut the door? I do. Every single time I got to do that. I mean, I know what you mean, though. I know what you mean. Dude, I got him. Like, just close the door. It's just that little thing. I just ask him, please. And you ask her and she goes, okay, hon. Yeah. She goes, oh, yeah, sorry. Sorry. Till tomorrow. Yeah. Be sorry again. Do you ever do this bit where you're laying on the bed with your laptop and, of course, you're nude? Do you like, are you this? Hon! No. Honey, come shut the door. No, he just takes a mental note. Yeah, I'm brooding.
I'm pouting. See, I would do that bit. I do it. No, I feel sorry for myself. Here's what happens. I pop up onto the bed and I go. Really? Like right when you just sit. Yeah. I go, really? Maybe check the door first and then get into bed and then take your clothes off. But he's so excited to just get in the bed. Maybe I'm figuring that she's TCB. She's taking care of business. Yeah, she's TCB. She's taking care of business. And so I get in the bed and I realize, oh, no TCB. Oh, she's taking care of your children. Michael. So you text her and tell her, hey, can you please shut that door? You just powered me down. It's not about having them take action then. It's about like, oh, man. That's the thing. Listen, if she had this goofy thing that she wanted me to do. Hey, honey, can you put the coffee filters in the refrigerator? I'd be like, coffee filters in the refrigerator? But listen. You do it. If that makes you happy, fine. I'll put the coffee filters in the refrigerator. And then every time she's like, she opens the refrigerator, she's like, where's my coffee filters? Oh, there they are. And they're not. What if they weren't, though? What if they weren't there? She'd lose it. She'd be like, please, can you please keep the things in the refrigerator? You know what the bone does? What? Fake coughs. What does that mean? What is that? Fake cough.
Why? Why? No. Wait. My mom does it too. Drives my dad batty. Drives me batty. Wait, then how do you know it's fake? Because you know what a real cough sounds like. Maybe that's how your cough sounds. No, that's how everybody's coughs. Maybe she has a tickle. Question. Question. Yeah. What would possibly be the point of it? To drive me batty. Really? No, please. So you believe that she does it purposefully? Yeah. To drive me insane. No way. It drives me insane. But why would she have started in the first place? Get Jamie on the phone. On it. Why would she have started that in the first place? I don't know. Because she has a tickle. Have a drink of water. I don't believe that she... That's probably how she calls it. There's nothing there. But the thing is, I'm trying to figure out what this story is. I'm like, well, what would possibly be the motive? To drive me nuts. Yep. Oh, man. You got her, Jay? She's there. Oh, boy, I'm dead. Jamie? Hi. Hello. Hi, dear. Jamie is Woodsy's wife. Jamie, Woods believes that you fake cough. You know, I was telling my girlfriends that the other day, and they were like, I've never even heard you cough. He makes it up. I think so, too. Well.
What would your motive? Jamie, be honest. Put an honest cap on. Do you fake cough? Yes. That's ridiculous. Of course it is. Do you fake sneeze? Right. Why would anyone do that? Yeah. She fake coughs. No way. You're crazy. Okay, but I have a question. When I sneeze, I do that. And it doesn't really come out? Do you think that's a fake sneeze? Yes. What? No, of course not. It's a real sneeze. When you cough, when you're sick, you can hear it from the chest. She does this bit. It was this weekend. We're driving, and she's next to me going, ah-ha, ah-ha. And I'm like, is she trying to lure a sympathy, excuse you? Maybe, maybe. And I look at her and I go, really? Really? Poor Jamie. She's probably driving me in the car like, oh my gosh, my throat's really tickling. I'm going to cough, but he's going to yell. Yeah, he's going to get upset. He's going to accuse me. He will falsely accuse me. She just has a delicate cough. Does she? Jamie. Oh my gosh. Jamie. Yes? Tell me something that Woodsy does.
that most of us wouldn't think is a big deal. And by the way, call us if you have these, 570-1949, that your spouse does that drives you batty, but most of us wouldn't think that that's a big deal. Like nobody would think that closing the closet door, it's not important to anybody but me. And that's what we're looking for because they're funny and weird, 570-1949. What does he do that makes you batty? Where do I begin? Jamie, remember, we only have three hours. Probably the most annoying thing is, you know, at nighttime, the kid likes to eat something sweet before he goes to bed. She's called me the kid, by the way. The kid? What does he do? He'll go into the refrigerator and get, you know, a piece of cheesecake or whatever. And then he'll go out and get a Coke. Before bed? Yeah. Before bed, right? Of course he does. Super healthy. He likes to leave everything on his crack den. You guys know that. The crack den is what she calls his nightstand because it looks like there's just stuff strewn all over it. There's Copenhagen spit cups. Everywhere. Right, right. So the next morning I'll go and, you know, clean the crack den up after he's gone to work and I'll pick up that Coke and it's completely full.
You take one tiny sip. That's me. I do that, too. I do that. I do that. Oh, it drives my wife crazy. And what else do I leave on there, babe? The fork with the dried cheesecake all over it. Me, too. Me, too. Ew. Ew, I can't have food in the bedroom. Period. That's fantastic. Next to the spit cup. Yeah, next to the spit cup. That's so awesome. Oh, that's so awesome. And you're the one that's getting it all. Oh, yeah. You know that. So you have to go, Jamie, into the kitchen and pour that Coke can out. I have to pour it out. I have to scrub the fork because of the dried cheesecake that's on there. Oh, my gosh. You and my wife are the same. My wife has to take the bowl with the dried now Chinese food stuck to the side of it. Gross. Yeah, with the chow mein stuck to the side of the thing. And she has to go soak it in water to loosen it up. Well, I got on a cereal kick, and I was eating cereal before bed. And I would leave the cereal with the milk still in the bowl. And all the cereal at the top would be Frosted Flakes, and they would be stuck. It would be like cement. So I'd get home, and she'd be like...
I had to scrub your bowl with a freaking razor blade to get those frosted flakes off there. I'm like, sorry. Thanks for the concrete bowl. Yeah, it was classic. Get Rebecca on the line, Jay, if you can. Yeah. Get all of our spouses. I want to know about Sienna. That's terrifying. Is your man available, Pepper? No, I don't think so. Get as many as you can. 570-1949 is our number. Thank you, Jamie. Hey, Dom. Bye, guys. I love you. It's his new nickname for her. Love you, Dime. His new nickname for her is Dime because she's a 10. She's a 10. I just call her Dime. Thank you, Jamie. She loves it. M1 Jessie's on the line. Jessie, is it your girlfriend or your wife? My girlfriend. What does she do that drives you crazy? She leaves the cap off of the toothpaste. Oh, yeah. That would make me cuckoo bird. I do that. Because now what it does is it effectively turns the first bit of toothpaste coming out into rubber. Solid rubber. Same stuff they make a wetsuit out of. It comes out of the end of that toothpaste tube when you leave a cap off of it. It's awful. But I've actually solved it. What do you do? Well, what I did was, you know, when you're a kid and your parents tell you the same thing over and over again, like, please do this, it never works. Right. And so I decided to use positive reinforcement.
And there was a couple mornings when she put the cap back on. And I just looked at her and I said, you know what, babe? You're amazing. No, I love it. I love it. That's smart. That's smart. Rewardless. Rewardless. We like it. I said, you know, some girlfriends only go so far for their men, but I just see that there's nothing you wouldn't do, babe. I appreciate that. Amazing. That's so funny. That's awesome. Thank you, Jesse. You're welcome. Take care. Appreciate it. Let's see. Kim is on the line. This is Jay's wife. Oh, yes. Jay's wife, Kim, is on the line. Hi, Kim. Hey. Hi, Kim. How you doing? Hey. So, what does Jay do? Because we know Jay as our perfect little angel. I know. He's our perfect little angel. Oh, give us a good one. What does he do that drives you crazy? You know, there's so many. All the wives say that. We've been together for so long, though, that a lot of them I've gotten used to. But there's still some that totally drive me crazy. And one's just a generic one that a lot of people do. He just, I call it drop trowel. I mean, he just, there's shirts laying all over him. He just takes his shirt off and drape it over the chair. Can I ask this? Let me stop you because my wife complains about the same thing. Really bothers her.
that I will take stuff off and just wherever I am, that's where it goes. In my mind, I only do that in our bedroom. So I'm fine. Why would that possibly bother her, I think? I don't do it in the rest of the house. Hey, listen, if I did that in the kitchen and there were a pair of pants in the middle of the kitchen, I'd understand. And like your man panties were in the kitchen would be disgusting. Right, right. Yeah, well, that's the thing is he'll drop a shirt. on the chair over the kitchen table. It doesn't matter where I am. I'll do this thing where I will purposely leave it there to see how long it'll stay there if he'll do it. And he knows that it'll drive me crazy, so eventually I will clean it up. There's a pile on the kitchen table. Oh, this is my pet peeve against her. Kim, I'm a laundry camel. I can go forever. I can go months and it'll stay there. But it's not just clothes. It's everything. He'll come in and he'll drop stuff from work like glasses or papers.
Yeah, and I just, like, keep rubbing it at him. He'll have Mikey's robes that he just leaves on the kitchen table. It's funny because I'm the one in the relationship that does that. I just will drop it, and Todd has a proper spot for everything. I've never known a girl to do that. Me either. I do, but, I mean, I clean up after myself. He's not the one to do it, but it drives him nuts. Jay, you said that that's your pet peeve is what? She likes to. take everything that everybody... It's just not my pile. She'll take everything of everybody's and she'll pile it up at my end of the table where we eat dinner. And so before I eat dinner, I have to do some of this giant pile of junk. I guarantee you look at this pile and everything in it is yours. Is it Jay? Is it your stuff? Is it Kim? Is it really? That's fantastic. He knows how much it drives me crazy that eventually I will put it away. Of course. So he doesn't have to. That's why we do it. Yeah. Well, the deal is, is that it doesn't bother us men in the least. And so we know the worst that can happen is it stays there forever, which has no effect on us. I can live in a dumpster. It doesn't bother me. Like, I love chaos, obviously. Right. And so I can lay in filth and it doesn't bother me. Absolutely. That's gross. Yeah, this place is just like a frat house.
if I didn't come out. Kim, thank you. Thanks, Kim. Bye, Kim. You're welcome. Bye. See you, sweetie. What are yours? Do you do anything that drives? Gosh, I think I'm pretty much perfect. Is that right? That's the thing, yeah. I do live in Perfectville. The zip code is 11111. It's one perfect lane. Perfectville perfect. Yeah. 11111. I know. I think I'm like Todd in that I have things that They have a home. Everything has its home. Right. So if it's not in its home, I'll be like. And make like a loud ruckus about where it's supposed to go. Huh. That's weird that this is in here. I wonder how I got that. Instead of just putting it away. Yeah. Yeah. We marry our parents, whether you realize it or not. I mean, listen to what Woodsy said. He goes, my wife fake coughs like my mom. Just like my mom. My wife, Rebecca, will take my stuff and organize it. And I don't want it organized. In fact, the disorganization is my organization. It's like me. You ask me, hey, you walk into my place. I may look like a slob, but I know where every single thing is. Well, sometimes I lose my keys. But other than that, I know where everything is. Organized chaos. Organized chaos. Yeah. My theme song. My wife will go.
A letter opener belongs in a desk. It doesn't belong where the silverware goes. And I go, yeah, it looks like a knife to me. I know where it is. I know where that goes. Oh, that would drive me nuts. And she goes, babe, it doesn't belong there. I'm like, what do you mean it belongs there? I told you about the new rule at the Woods house. What? There's a new rule. What is it? That when she moves here, we have a rule. Now that I'm getting off the air and I'll be home by the time the mail is delivered. She can no longer get the mail. She can't get the mail anymore. She's not allowed to open the mailbox. Why? Because there is mail on her desk. There is mail on our nightstand. There is mail in the back of her car. There is mail in the middle console of the car. We had a refund check that came from some phone company for like $150. Never seen it. Never saw it. I'm like, oh, my God. I'm like, you can't touch the mail anymore. I'm doing the mail. I'll pay the bills. I'm the exact same. You do that? Well, I will get the mail because the mail comes right into our front door. And so I get it and I put it in a pile, but I won't go in any of it. Like, even if it's my own, I get nervous. My pile sits there for a while. He needs to go through it. She's not. No, she can't even open the mailbox. Sienna, your husband on the line. Yes. Yes. I'm really afraid. Hey. How are you doing? Be nice.
Give me the thing that most of us wouldn't think is that crazy, but it drives you batty with your wife. Well, for me, since she has such an unusual sleeping habit now due to have to get up at 3 o'clock in the morning, every time I try to sneak into the bed, she wakes up. Oh, you're dead. Oh, yeah. And I can't win because, I mean, I stand at the end of the hall on the way down. I mean, I actually had to call her mom. She flew in a ninja from Japan. Mom, get taught a ninja. That's great. No, he does. I mean, and I'm the lightest sleeper and it sucks because he'll, you know, he'll come creeping and my eyes just. Boom. Open. And, like, he spots my eyes open and he's like, oh, no. Hey, Todd. I totally freeze. I have no idea what the reaction is. She either does one of two things. She looks at me and says, baby, and she wants a hug immediately. I don't remember doing that. Then she gives me the evil eye as how dare you wake me up in a few hours. Does it get to the point where you're stressed about it at, like,
Six at night, and you're like, oh, God, oh, God, I got to do this. I got to do this. Oh, yeah, absolutely. Oh, brother. Usually I just, you know, cave and go lay down with it right away because if I'm sitting out in the living room watching a ball game and it doesn't end until, like, 8 or 9 o'clock, and, ooh, I know I got to get down that hall. Oh, stress starts setting in. See, that's mine for him, though, is whenever he does lie in bed with me and we fall asleep around the same time, instantly he's out. And I'm this pregnant woman. Like, he can take a sleeping pill or drink a glass of wine and knocks him out. And I'm like, I have to wake up in, like, four hours. I'm not asleep yet. And I look over at him, and he's just sleeping. And I wake him up, and I'm like, I can't fall asleep. Rub my back. That is awful. No. Rub my back. No. I'm pregnant. Todd, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry, Todd. I'm so sorry, Todd. It's all right. And we're going to make it. Me and Woods, you're making you a Facebook page. Yeah, we're going to make it right, pal. Todd, tell him. I don't need that. No, he doesn't need it, but he wants it. No, I don't want it. I honestly don't. Todd. There you go. Todd. All right, Todd. Honest cap. Honest cap. I don't think he does. Todd, do you want one? No, I honestly don't. All right.
Thank you, Tom. All right, see you guys. See you, pal. He's happy in his own little Sienna bubble, all right? Today's musical theme, since I'm picking the music, is Guilty Pleasures. Oh, my God. It's a jam. You didn't hear from someone. We cannot locate her, which is a pet peeve of mine. She needs to be on the call. Yeah. Babe, I told you. Oh, I'm sorry. I was raising your three sons. Oh, power down, power down. Firefall, you're the one. Firefall. We will try to get my wife on the line. And we will hear her.
String. String. She's going to have the best ones. She'll go. She can go forever. We'll save her next break for Rebecca. She's a saint. No, she can go forever. She is. She and my wife. She is. They're twins. Is the Mikey Show. On FM 94.9. I'm Jennifer Nichols-Kerns. And I'm Tim Graham, and we're from Think Blue San Diego. We want to personally thank all of the businesses who submitted entries for our How Do You Think Blue promotion. We were impressed with all of the creative, innovative, and environmentally conscious steps that San Diego businesses are taking to prevent stormwater pollution. We wish to congratulate Detail Green as the winner of one free week of advertising on FM 94.9. Detail Green uses a high-pressure steam machine that utilizes only one and a half gallons of water. water to wash an entire vehicle. This helps reduce water runoff and, of course, water consumption. Good job, guys. An honorable mention also goes to the folks at Benchmark Landscape, where they require all employees to participate in annual stormwater pollution prevention training. This is Bird from Dragon Eyewear with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report for you Wednesday morning. Brought to you, of course, by Guayaki, Yerba Mate. Certified organic rainforest grown, and they helped the local community reforest their area, so helped them out too. Surf-wise today, looking at some smaller surf across the board, but cleaner surf too, which is a good thing. West-northwest, southwest combination is kind of on the taper. Still waist, chest, shoulder, high waist can be found at the standout spots. Dealing with a relatively high tide this morning, which is backing off quite a few areas. Looks like the winds are trying to blow more offshore, so that has straightened up the lines.
And it's giving most spots more workable corners and faces. High tide at 930, you're going to slow down a lot of those reef breaks. So beaches look to be your better bet for right now. And at the lower tide later this afternoon, reef breaks should have some pop-up corners too. So looking a little cleaner and definitely more surfable today. Back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. When I used to look like Rerun. Woods kissed plenty of chubby girls in my day, pal. Lauren. One of the reasons I don't like paper plates. Wasteful. Zienna. My butts never look tanner. And Jay. Howdy-ho, neighbor. On FM 94.9. I'm in. You're in? 70s AM gold, man. Who is this? Great song. You know this one? Oh, love this song. Is this Kenny Loggins? I don't think you should guess. No. Who is it? Because you've never guessed and I've said yes. Okay, ready?
And I don't want to change your life. That's right. England Dan and John Ford Coley. I love it. I bet you played some of this back in the day. I did. Back in the Michael Shannon days. Let's try that. Kenny Locke. K-Wave 97 FM. Going to be sending a fresh pack of donuts out to PG&E today. All day. I can hear it all day. I want to bring songs in to do it. I want you to teach Woods to do it, and I want to hear Woods try, and he'll hit the post every time. I want to nail the post. You want to try it, Woods? Yeah, do it. Let's try it. Can I go around? A song that he knows. Do you know that song? Yeah, I know that song. How about some air supply? You're supposed to talk up the intro. All Out of Love, Lost in Love. All Out of Love or Here I Am, the one that you love. No, let's go Lost in Love. Lost in Love. Should we explain? Yeah, the idea is that you're doing something called you're trying to hit the post. Yeah. The post is where they start to sing. The music leading up to the post is called The Ramp. Okay. So he's going to talk up the ramp and try to nail the post. Are you ready? I'm ready. 98.7 K-Wave. This is Smooth Steve with you in the morning.
And I just want to give a big shout-out to PG&E today. We'll be seeing those guys for lunch today. They dropped their business card in a bowl, and they won. Nope. I bricked. I bricked. I bricked. I bricked. It's hard. I can't do it. You ready? You can. I need a time check in there as well. I'm sweating. Tell me what you need. Tell me what you need. Make your order. You need time check. What else do you want? Okay. Time check weather. Call letters. Call letters twice. Time check weather. Call letters twice. Anything else? Throw out the time, maybe. We did. We said time. Request. Time. You want that twice. Time twice. No. Call letters twice. Time once. Time once. Weather. What do you want? Call letters twice. Call letters twice. Your name. Name. He's doing it. And what else? Is that it? Request or shout-out. It's a request. Dedication or shout-out. Dedication. It's so hard. It's the most petrified I've ever been on the radio. I was more scared than I was before my first day. I mean, it's something that you don't realize. You think it's going to be really easy, and then it's hard. And even the ones that are really short, the short ramps, because you have to get a certain amount of stuff in there with only so many seconds. Okay, you ready? Yeah. Okay, here we go. How are you doing? It's Michael Shannon checking in for the afternoon. It is 7.39 a.m. at K-Wave 97 FM. This one's going out to Danny.
And he requested this for his girlfriend, Danielle, coincidentally. Wow. This is Air Supply, Lost in Love on K-Wave. Yes! Oh, my. That's like what? You want it lagged. I'm so disappointed in that. I'm so disappointed in that. It's like watching Leonard Bernstein. Mike finished a little early, though. That was awful. I'm going to do the same one with a different Air Supply song. Okay. Don't forget the weather. All out of love? No, weather wasn't on there. You want me to put weather? I didn't know when we were making this list. I didn't know this was for Mike. Here's what I have to get in. I've got to do weather. I've got to get the time once, the call letters twice. This is his version of the Incorporator. My name and the request is for Daniel. Coincidentally. For Daniela. I love that. Hey, it's Michael Shannon. Just wanted to let people know it's going to be sunny and 76 today. It is 7.40 a.m. That's a request for Daniel. This one is All Out of Love by Air Supply. Came out in 1982. Hope you enjoy it. Have a great day and give me a call here at the radio station if you'd like. My name's Michael Shannon and you're listening to K-Wave 97 FM. Perfect! Perfect! Oh my god! Red! Well see, for me... Try it. It's impossible. If you know the song, it's not... You want to try it? I'll tell you what to do. Write down. Here's what you're going to do.
Your name is Pepper. Okay. It's my radio name. Your radio name is Pepper. Okay. And you're going to give the weather. The call letters are K-D-R-K. K-D-O-R-K. So you have to say K-D-O-R-K. I have to say K-D-O-R-K. You have to say K-D-O-R-K. Okay, twice? K-D-O-R-K twice. You've got to give the time once. It's impossible. The request is going out. To Boo Boo. Because I'm just trying to make you crazy. I'm going to faint. Do you realize that? It's impossible. Get into a character. You've got to get into a character. Sultry. You're going to be sultry, okay? Oh my gosh. Wait, what song is it? Do you want to do the same one I just did? All Out of Love? No, you need to do one that you know, right? Yeah, give me one you know. It's got to be a light and easy favorite. It's got to be something really beautiful. Do you want to do... What's that? Here I am. Yeah, I got that. The one that you love. Do I have that? Yeah, I got it. Weird.
Don't know how long the intro is, but are you ready to give it a try? Ready to give it a try? Here we go. Hey, this is Pepper with K-Dork. That's a short intro. You need a longer intro time. Do I say K-D-R-K or K-Dork? K-Dork. K-Dork. That was funny. Do you want to do All Out of Love? Yeah. All right, here we go. Good morning, this is Pepper with K-D-R-K. K-Door. No. It's a sunny Saturday. It's about 7 o'clock. And this request goes out to Boo Boo from her man, Chevron. On K-Door. Pepper. With the wave. It's a sunny Saturday. 7 o'clock. It's freaking impossible. All right. I don't know that song well enough. It's hard to do. It's really hard. I guess it's hard. It's like watching Michelangelo. I'm in awe. I'm in awe. Well, all you got to do is burn it. You burn time. You just burn time. I really want to try, but I don't know if I'm going to know any of these songs. Like the ones you're playing, I'm like, I don't know. Santa, give me one that you know. Give me a slow song that you know. You know he's got some Miley. What about like Celine Dion? I've got, I think I might. I'll tell you what I have. You know Mike has it. You know he's got Miley in there. No, I don't.
Miley, Miley. You know that Miley. You want Miley? I could do a pump up 9331, Party in the USA. Is that a long intro? Yeah, you want to do Party in the USA? Yeah. All right, let's do it. Now, I got to tell you, here's my request from you as my jock. Yeah. I'll play the program director. Sienna. Uh-huh. Sienna, here's what I want you to do. Give me, yeah, okay. I want you to give me the time. Do you have anything over there that gives you the time? My laptop. Okay, there you go. Okay. I made up. You're going to give me the time. And the day. You're going to give me the weather. Okay. And this one's going out to your friend Shemp. Did you notice that I said from her boyfriend Chevron? Yeah. I don't know how long the intro is. Can I hear it one time and then do it? Yep. Oh, wait a second. Okay, you got your try. You got to do it cold. Okay, but what if it's only two seconds? It isn't two seconds. It's part of the USA. You ready? My name, time, weather, Shemp, my friend. Okay. Hey, it's Sienna on Channel 933. So it's 743 in the morning right now on Wednesday. And it's going to be a really nice one today. 743, I believe. So let's go to the beach. Oh, she got it. Pretty close. That's pretty freaking good. I forgot to say my friend, though. Can I give you my goofy top 40 DJ voice and try that one? I'll do Kiss FM. Okay. You ready? Yep.
102.7 KISS FM. And another one from Lylee Cyrus. You knew this was coming. Let's go party in the USA. Going to be sunny and hot today. It is 744. Yes. Solid gold. I want to try again and again. Goosebumps. I love that. Well, I love it because, I mean, I guess I can do it and I didn't think that people thought that was cool. You're the incorporator. With that? Because honestly, I didn't think that was cool. I thought everybody in the world could do that. I didn't think it was cool until I tried. I'll have to be honest. It's so funny because people in their car now are going to be like, okay, next time I hear, I'm going to try and do it. I'm telling you. I thought everybody could do that. No. Okay, can you do like a metal show? Yeah, yeah. Give me a song. Everlong, Foo Fighters. Everlong. Oh, my gosh. What do you want me to do? Tell me what you want me to do. Tell me what I have to do. What's the menu here? What's the request? What would they do on a metal show? Metallica? No, no, no. A concert. A concert over the weekend. Metallica concert or something? Yeah. Foo Fighters. Foo Fighters coming to town. Foo Fighters. Woods is like pacing. And... Talk about it's Friday. It's Friday. It's Friday. It's party time. It's Friday. It's party time. And maybe I send this ever long out to somebody. Yeah. Who? Who? Space Jam. Someone who's fighting.
Someone who's fighting? Yeah. So tell me their names. Peppy. Peppy? Peppy. Peppy's fighting with who? Peppy from Lulu. Peppy from Lulu. And then in Princeton I'm going to put fighting. Foo fighting. Foo fighting. Okay, here we go. Who's doing it? You? Yeah, I'll do it. Okay, okay. Hey, what's up? It's Mike in the dark. Glad you listened. Listen to 87.1 The Rocker. Do a little foo for you because they're coming into town on Friday. It's going to be cool, man. They're going to be playing the nonstop exhaust fest this weekend. Peppy gave me a call because him and Lulu are fighting again. He was like, dude, you got to play some foo for me. And I'm like, why don't you play some foo for me and get the foo out of here. Song is called Everlong. I hope you enjoy it with a rocker. Oh, my God.
Mickey, I'm telling you, you have to think back to when you first started. Did you just call him Mickey? No, I said Mikey. No. When you first started in radio, and you remember when you first started voice tracking and stuff, you had to do it a million times until you were happy with it. Sure. But now you've done it so many times that it's just like riding a bike. Well, I had this, I mean, I've done this since I was a kid. Bro. And I thought everybody does the same exact thing. In fact, I would think. because this is my thinking, I'm like, I probably don't do it that good. Other people probably do it better than I do. No way. I played baseball since I was a little kid. Doesn't mean I go knock one out of the park every time I play. Like... You're amazing at that. Yeah, but I didn't think that there was, like, something to it. I'm like, all you have to do is stop talking. You just talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, and then stop talking. I think it's funny that Sienna thinks that everybody voice tracks. You've only worked at one place. Every other place, there was no such thing as voice tracking. We had records or CDs, and it was all live. No, no, no, but I mean in the beginning. Like, they don't just put you on the air. Oh, yeah. You have to do tapes. That's how I got on the air. I got on the air at midnight. The guy's like, go do it. We got to do the thing where, by the way, we get all our old tapes, you know. Oh, my God.
Lauren's new to radio and Woods is new to radio books. Well, get my first stand-up. Filet me. I have. I probably could get it right now. It's on my email. It'd be great. 570-1949 is our number. A month ago. Dude, you can play my first day on the air. You were great. It's terrible. 949mikey at gmail.com is how you text us. Dude, you can hear me the first day on the air. My name is Lauren. Yeah, you can hear me go. Dude, I could do that all day, just so you know. Oh, yeah. Well, I mean. I didn't realize that that was a thing. Especially the smooth jazz slays me. Yeah, that's a good one. M1 Nathan's on the line because he heard us talking about roommates and stuff and has a situation with his girlfriend. Is that right, Nathan? Yeah, that's right. What's going on? Well, she just moved into a new place and she's got a guy roommate, you know? Yeah, yeah.
But he gives me the vibe like he's just a little skeezy for me, you know? And I want to talk to her about it, but I don't want to be the overbearing, jealous guy, you know? What is the vibe? Oh, just like he... Like, I feel like he's just going to hit on... Does he have a mustache and wear gold chains? He might as well. He's got that aura about him. And he's single? The actual mustache. Yeah, is he single? I think so, yeah. I wonder if you're picking up something that he isn't putting down. If you're picking up something he is putting down, then yeah, absolutely. It would skeeve me out too. But sometimes as guys, maybe we're a little overzealous about being totally jealous. What does she say about him? She thinks he's totally innocent, but there's nothing. She trusts him totally. Give me an example of something that he would do that you've witnessed with your own two peepers that has made you feel skeeved or given you some sort of a vibe that you've actually witnessed. Yeah, she's only been over there for a few weeks, but there was this one time where we were getting the dishes out of the dishwasher. He just didn't take his eyes off her for the entire time. It just bothered me a little bit. Wait, wait, wait. Now, upon hearing that,
Upon hearing that, that sounds skeevy. Yes. What if we were there, though, and she's just talking, and he's looking at her because she's talking? No, you hear what he said? She was taking dishes out of the dishwasher. What if she's talking? Like this. Bending over. Oh, okay. Yeah, you know that. I mean, we were talking, but... It's just the way he looked. It was the way he looked. A man knows when another man is checking out his... Girl. So do girls. You know what I mean? Whatever. I know where he's coming from because I used to date a guy who lived with a girl roommate and I would have like nightmares. Yeah, I bet. I would have nightmares about them hooking up when I wasn't there. Really? Yeah. I don't know why. Like in the girl, like it was nothing to be intimidated about. Like she was whatever. But it was just like the fact. I just feel like, oh, guys always want that. Yeah. Well, you know, my philosophy is you never tell somebody what to do. So my philosophy would be that you don't say to her, oh, yeah, you got to, you know, you better move out of there. No, but maybe say, doesn't that guy creep you out a little bit? Yeah, you could ask that. But I would say that guy creeps me out a little bit. I would. I think you're OK to say how he makes you feel. Well, what about moving in in the first place? Because I moved into a place with it was.
a three-parter. It was a guy and a girl already lived there and they were looking for a third roommate. So I moved in. I remember thinking, like, my boyfriend was okay with it, but I remember thinking, like, if it were reversed, I don't know. It's like Three's Company. Yeah, and every time that guy's girlfriend came over and if the two of us were just, like, sitting in the living room, like... I always said couples making out. Like a double date. I always said curse word, but just shooting it, you know what I mean? Shooting the breeze. Yeah, shooting the breeze. I almost said something else. I used to get instant, like, guilt, panic, like, okay, does she know we're just friends? Does this look weird? Like, does this, you know what I mean? They were dating, the two of them? They were dating, and his girlfriend would come over, and I would feel, like, instant, like, am I sitting too close? Yeah. Am I talking to him too much? Yeah, yeah. It's a weird situation. Yeah. Because then that girlfriend is like, all right, see ya, and we're like, bye, in our jammies, like, eating popcorn. Ew. We're watching a movie. Get. Anything ever happen between you two? No, no, no. As far as you know.
Just keep your eyes on your arms. That would totally... I don't like that, though. Even that that happens, and that's normal, but that would make me so uncomfortable if I walked in and my boyfriend was just sitting with another girl in his pajamas. I know, and I put myself in her shoes, and I was like, if I looked at me right now, I'd be like, why don't you get... I've only had girl roommates, and I only... Dude, I didn't want guy roommates. You know why? Because guys are filthy. They're filthy. They do drugs till all hours of the morning. And they do their drugs and their pants are all over the place. Girls are clean. No, they're not. Girls are dirty. Not the girls I've lived. Some girls can be dirtier than guys. I haven't had filthy roommates. I always, when I would go over to look at the place, I always noticed if it was nice and clean. And they were always clean roommates. You lived with women, dude. What? You lived with women. Oh, I didn't never want to live with a dude. Never. Never. That's weird. No, it isn't. That is. Dude, guys are noisy. They party. They judge my music. They fart and laugh at it. They fart and laugh. I don't want any of that stuff. It's guy stuff. I don't like it. I don't fart and laugh. I don't like that. See, Sienna would be like living with a guy. I'd be like, I can't take it. I'd be like, ah. Although, I did have a roommate that was a girl here in town. Tierra Santa.
Sounds cute. No, it's an area. It was bad. Her name was Tierra Santa. I figured one of your friends, maybe. Your Mexican-ness is what defines you. Nathan, my advice for you is you could tell her how you feel, and I would leave it at that. I would tell her that he creeps you out, and I'd leave it at that. You're going to look like a jerk. Or here's what you do. You go up behind that dude and say, and you whisper in the guys are listening, pal. I don't need you sniffing around what's mine. That's so creepy. And if you do, if you do, it's going to come down. It's going to come down on you and it's going to come down real good. Can you imagine a human being sneaking up behind another human being and whispering sweetly in their ear, hey, pal, I want you to keep your hands off what's mine. Yeah. Don't sniff around what's mine. Don't sniff around what's mine. Creeper. Well, he'd follow the rules. After I do that, I just throw a bowie knife into the floor. Yeah, make it stick. I got my eyes on you. No, put a human skull on the table and do it. That's what happens. Nathan, if that doesn't work, sneak up behind him. When he's laying on the couch sleeping, go about an inch from his face and go, I'm going to wear your skin like I have. If you touch my old lady.
Nobody's going to know where you are, pal. Out of your face. You see that skull? You see that skull? You don't worry about where I got that skull. I'm going to clip your toenails way down too low. That would hurt. I'm going to eat your liver with some fava beans and a nice candy. Your back would make a real nice jacket. Size 14? Thank you, Nathan. Good luck, dude. Oh, gosh. I had a roommate in Tierra Santa. You're going to think that this is an exaggeration. This is not an exaggeration. This is a true story. She was a clean freak. Beautiful home. Beautiful home. Wasn't a home. It was a home, but it wasn't a house. It was a casa. It was a casa. She called me into the kitchen. And before I moved in, she made it very clear that she was very clean. She didn't want anyone moving in that was dirty. And I made it very clear to her.
I'd grown up in a home like that, and it wasn't going to be an issue. And I meant it. I moved in, and I made a sandwich in the kitchen. Weird. Weird. And the next day, no, it wasn't a torta. No, it wasn't a torta. Burrito. It wasn't a what? Burrito. It wasn't a burrito. It was an enchilada sandwich. You guys, you guys, it was an enchilada sandwich. Clearly. Leave him alone. It was an enchilada sandwich. Was it a carne asada sandwich, Mike? Be honest. Tell us the truth. So she called me downstairs and she said, really cool, really nicely. She said, hey, I don't want to make a big deal out of this or anything. You already did by just saying that. She goes, but I found this on the floor. Oh, gosh. And I'm telling you that it was the size of a pinhead. I'm not kidding you. Now, in fairness to her. It would be the big side of a, let's say a ballpoint pen. Let's say like a ballpoint pen, okay? It would be the size of the circumference of a ballpoint pen. And it was like a, you could tell that it was like a piece. A part of a jalapeno or something? No, it wasn't. A tortilla. It was like a piece of bread. And she had it on the counter. As evidence. Yeah, and I thought that she was kidding.
And so I kind of went, ah, right. And she kind of went, huh? And then said, so, uh, and as soon as she said, so I knew, oh my goodness, she's not kidding. She went, so remember we talked about that. So, and I was like, oh man, this is, this is not okay. Do you have a couple of boxes and a roll of tape I can use? Cause I'm getting the hell out of here. Some people can't control it. They're like, they it's. Kills them. Oh, Monica from Friends. For sure. My grandma's like that. If I get up from her couch, I have to karate chop the pillow, like re-fluff it. Yeah. Or else. Oh, gosh. Guilty pleasures. A hundred days have made me older. I did, too. Did you see the video? That's what sold me. You guys like this. Well, because of the video. Three Doors Down. Yeah, I like this song. I like this song. Because of the video. Never seen it. It's soldiers coming home. Done. Done. You just killed me. Done. Like, done. Really? Like, in my room going... Really? Thank you for fighting for me. Wow. It's so good. I'm going to watch it on YouTube right now. It's so good.
And the reason I say that is because I know my friend Woods well enough to know that he's going to go, dude, come here, come here, come here. And he won't stop until I come over to his side of the board and watch his computer. Because I have to force you to watch that. He does. Or you will tell me that you watched it and you didn't. The new home of The Mikey Show. FM 94.9. Multi pleasures. Oh, dude. Trivia. Who wrote this song? Prince. That a boy. Yeah, buddy. One of my favorite tunes. Come with a girl. The whole video was a shot of Sinead O'Connor's face. That's it. Your bald head. Your bald head. Like Mikey. Yeah, she looked like me without a goatee. She pulled it off. She was hot. Yeah, she was. She wasn't quite as Mexican as I am. She's taller.
She was definitely taller. She was four foot two. So, so, so, dot, dot, dot. Look at Pepper. Pepper doesn't just do impressions. She does impressions of people singing. Yeah, it's the best. I do Alicia Keys. If I play in Alicia Keys. No way. It's fun to listen to. Let's try. She did one time. You can't catch Alicia Keys. I know, but it's just funny to hear the impression of it. Like, what about this? Do the impression. 98.7. I love that. I love it. I love it. She did that the other day. I was playing it. And we went off the air and I turned the mics off. And as soon as I turned the mics off, she was still doing that scratchy. How about her Natalie Merchant yesterday? It killed me. Oh, my God. That's dead on. Wow. I love it. Very talented, Pepper. Kirstie Allen's son is getting engaged. And Kirstie Alley's son. What did I say, Christy? You said Kirstie Allen. I said Kirstie Allen? Yeah. Kirstie Allen is my guest tonight. It's Kirstie Alley, Larry. Kirstie Allen. Let me ask you about Cheers.
It's Kirstie Alley. What was Fred Danson like to work with? Was he good? It was actually Ted Danson. Yeah, was he good? He played Clooney. No, he didn't. Malone. Malone. He played Malone. Mayday Malone. Mayday Malone. Right, what was the other guy, the guy that played the coach? What was his name, Coach? Coach. Was he fun? He was fun. Thanks for being here. That's Christy Allen. You guys graduated from high school the same year, I think. I graduated 1824. Class of 24. It's great. I watched an episode of Cheers the other night. I was on the elliptical machine. Yeah. And I watched it and I was like, wow. Christy Allen used to be hot. Now, the weird thing is, she's very overweight. She's on a show where she talks about it, very open about it. She's very overweight. But I still see that good-looking girl in that face. And look who's talking. She was so pretty. So skinny. Knockout. She always had that foxy, smoky voice. Right. Like Sienna. Yeah, that's right. You like that, don't you? Yeah. So what is, her son's engaged and he's how old? 17. Oh, wow. Yeah, she was just on with Ellen. Christy was. And she was talking about her son, whose name is True. And he and his fiance are in love. And she says that she's okay with it because.
They seem like they're really in love. And she says he's got a level head. He's a good guy. But she gives kind of a comparison to herself because she got married when she was 19. They got a divorce. Then she got married when she was 30, which is when everyone said, you know, that's the perfect age to get married. Then they got a divorce. She said, there's no right age. When you're in love, you just do it. My mom got married when she was 17. Really? My dad was 19. Wow. Nurse. It's a different time. They've been married 53 years. Yeah, my mom was 18 and my dad was 28. Weird. How strange is that? That's how it is in my family. My grandma and my grandpa were 13 years apart. The diamond doesn't fall far from the diamond tree, Mikey. The emerald doesn't fall far from the emerald mine. Exactly. That's great. Santa wrote... Speaking of Sienna, she wrote in her recap that her daughter Jenna has a new favorite song. And it's kind of inappropriate. And it's kind of upsetting to Sienna. She doesn't know what to do. She loves it every day, wants to hear it. She watches it on YouTube. And she knows every single word, dances. How old is Jenna? She's almost nine, nine in about a week.
She sings this? Yeah, it talks about getting crunk and all this stuff. What is that getting crunk? Nobody knows. It's like going up and partying or something. Is it? Crazy drunk. Yeah, crazy drunk. Is that what it is? Crunk. Crunk is crazy drunk. Not necessarily. It isn't? Did you just make that up? It's partly, but I got the explanation from some guys once. That it was crazy drunk. That, it's kind of a mixture of those two words, but it's also like, man, this party is crunk. You're crazy. You're crazy. I think it's like off the hook. It's off the hook. Or off the chain. Off the chain. That's what. Crunk.
Man, this is crunk. I don't want my kids singing about crunk and whatnot. Yeah. When she was looking, she was looking through like the YouTube videos of, you know, other people singing and dancing and stuff. And Miley Cyrus's little sister, Noah, who was like, I think nine as well. And she was. doing like a music video her and this guy who's like 20 dancing behind her in like some dark room and she is stop because it's creeping me out singing all the words and like there's this part where they say like throwing a beer can like toss my beer and she has a red bull and like tosses it like a beer like it's the weirdest thing is that hard for parents to have a kid kids like eight or nine they're into popular music And the popular music has got nasty lyrics. And you're like, you don't want to be that guy. Because, you know, when you were a kid, I know a song Woods was into because I asked Woods about it. Woods used to listen to this. Love Gun. You pull the trigger of my love gun. Wow. The little five-year-old Woods. Yeah, you have no idea what that means. You think it's like a fake little gun of love. I was five. And I'm running around the house singing.
You pull the trigger of my love gun. I really love you, baby. I love what you got. Five years old. If my five year. Oh, there's a guy that is a DJ at Kiffam in our building, the jazz station. And he said, you know, he was telling me his story. And he said that he used to work for a top 40 station. But he said, and I said, how come you stopped? He said, I came home one day. He said, and my seven-year-old girls were running around, and they were singing a song by TLC, and it was something about sex. Let's talk about sex, baby. That was it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's talk about you and me. He said they were running around going, let's talk about sex, baby. Why am I singing that song? Because they listened to Daddy on the radio, and he said he was done. He didn't do it anymore. That's awesome. Because he said he couldn't come home with his kids, let's talk about sex, baby. Dude, they're seven. See, that was like me with Push It, the Salt-N-Pepa song. Push It. Yeah. I would be like, push it real good. Oh, man. Pumping my thrust. Gyrating. Right. And your parents were like, what are you doing? That's the worst. Shocking. 570-1949. Can you imagine little Lauren going, push it real good. Yeah.
No, I mean, but Jenna loves Lady Gaga and, you know, like, my humps, my lovely lady loves, like, all that. I'm like, and she dances to it and she's so cute because she doesn't know, you know, and I'm just like, oh, but she's singing the word crunk and bottle of jack. Yeah, brush my teeth with a bottle of jack. Yeah. This so reminds me, you know Josiah. Oh, yeah. Dude, Josiah, he wrote me an email about it and he was asking for my input. Because he said that his kid is listening to, I think, Katy Perry or whatever. Katy Perry. I kissed a girl and I liked it. You know, it feels real good. Well, I mean, and this is I mean, this is a nine year old kid. So she's listening to it and she's like, oh, so I want to kiss my girlfriend. It'll taste like cherry whatever. Yeah. Cherry chapstick. Barkman and I talk about this all the time when we were young. He was a huge Kiss fan. So was I. Well, when we were in, I was in seventh or eighth grade when Lick It Up came out. And we watched a video and it's just carnage. There's women half close. For sure. And Bauman and I literally, we both had the same thought miles apart. I can't wait till I'm older because whatever that is, I'm in on it. I want to be in on whatever those guys are doing. I'm in. 570-194-9. Well, this is what I said to Josiah. I said.
I think about music like I think about food. We're consuming it. If you keep a steady diet of Doritos, you're going to look like it. If all you eat is McDonald's Big Macs every day, all the time. I said so. Now, this is just me personally. I said that's what I do. I listen to all kinds of stuff, but I listen to stuff in moderation. If I consume it too much. I notice that it starts to have an effect on my psyche and the stuff that's going on with me. If you're listening to it, there's no difference in that and Doritos. You're eating it. What are you going to do, pal? What are you going to do when, because Jakey's three. I'm going to explain that concept. I'm going to say, son, it's like Doritos. Your pop doesn't want to be an old grumper on you. Are you going to turn him on to good? Would you let him? You are or were a big Van Halen fan. Are you going to let Jake, if he's 10, listen to Dance the Night Away, Beautiful Girls, Panama? He's not going to hear that around the house. He doesn't hear that around the house. Right now around the house you hear Starfield, Cutlass, a lot of cool Christian bands that I'm into that sound like stuff you hear on the radio. Now that's what he's going to hear. Now when I was growing up, I was hearing Kiss in my house. My brothers listened to Kiss.
A really creepy band called King Crimson. Oh, yeah. ACDC. I grew up listening to Journey. A lot of Journey as I was growing up. And so that's what I learned to love. Now, it may very well be. And I knew another kid that for whatever weird reason, this dude loved the Beatles who were way out of our age range. But his parents listened to the Beatles nonstop. And this dude loved the Beatles. If I'm if if it's what I'm listening to all the time, it's good chances. That's what he's going to be into. But if, like you said, he comes home and he's got some album, you know, I'm going to I'm not going to be the guy that's like, I'm throwing away. I'm not going to do that, you know, because I have the conversation with him. I have the conversation with him and say, hey, man, it's Doritos. You know, it's Doritos. Wait till you see what they come up with. Because now that they've got the internet, Finn's got everything. He's gone back and discovered all the classic rock. And now he's gone through all the just bang your head, incredibly hard music, which I like some of, death metal. And now he's discovered there's some jazz in his. He's listening to some jazz. I'm just like, who are you? He's got the craziest.
You know, crazier library than I ever had as a kid. That's like me, though. I will have everything. Everything. Well, I remember being 16, going through my parents' cabinets and finding records. And they had a record player. I didn't even know who the artists were. So I just start pulling out the artists and I just start listening to it. You ever heard this? This is an album. I listened to this album from my parents and I was like, I'm in on this. Listen, hang on a second. Hang on, hang on, hang on. Dean Martin. Dino. Love the Dean. I heard Dino when I was 15, 16 years old. And my parents, same thing. They were probably like, is our son strange? This is a good song. Love Dean Martin. But listen, that's my philosophy. I think you're kind of right, though. I mean, because I love the Rolling Stones. And my dad, that's all he listens to. Yeah. There's no bigger compliment than when you catch your kids listening to something that you turned them on to. It's just like, wow. Cool. M1 Public. Public, you there? Yeah. Go ahead, bro. Hey, when the magic stick, my son was like two or three years old, right? Yeah. And I remember coming home and he's running around the house with a stick in his hand saying, I got the magic stick. 50 cents. What is that? 50 cents. I can something once. Yeah. I can something twice. Yeah.
The funniest thing I've ever seen. And that's 50 Cent? Yeah. That was a 50 Cent song. I got the magic. It was 50 Cent and Little Kev. Yeah. He also sings that, I'll take you to the candy shop. Yeah. Okay, that immediately is going to get kids' attention. I'll let you lick the lollipop. Forget it. You know what I mean? Yeah. Thanks for the call, dude. Thanks a lot. Thanks for sending my bumper sticker. Thank you. Thank you, bro. That's M1 Public. Oh, yeah. I remember him. M1 Jtrees. Hey, how you doing, Mikey? Good, bro. You know that crunk that you were talking about? That's actually a dance in the south in Georgia. They do it like in fraternities. Really? Yeah, it's called crunk dancing. No, dude, we said crunk. Yeah, there's crunk and there's crump. There's two of them. Yeah, crumping is like... Oh, wow. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I wish I could describe. Because if anybody saw that, they would instantly go, oh, that's what that is? Crumping. It's where you hold your fists up in the air like you're lifting barbells above your head, and they stay in one place, and then the rest of your body shakes. The rest of your body shakes. Thank you, bro. M1 Nick, are you there? Yeah. Go ahead. What's up, guys? Yeah. Hey, so my daughter, she's 10 now, but she was in first grade, so she's six at the time. We're sitting around the dinner table asking her, how was school? She's in first grade. She says, oh, we were singing at school. Like, oh, what song were you singing?
And she breaks out. Smack that all on the floor. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Is that Eminem? Yeah. We were so embarrassed. Oh, my God. It was awful. I got a theory. What? What I'm going to do with my kids is I'm going to school them. And I'm going to school them on Friday nights and Saturday nights. And it's going to be music night at the Woods house. And we're going to listen to Zeppelin. And Motown and the Beach Boys. They're going to be miserable. No, they won't. They're going to dig it because it's what dad digs. They're going to play musical instruments, and they're going to know the difference. My kid ever comes home singing the Lady Hump, we're going to have a problem. Just put music on, but don't do it subconsciously. I'm going to school them. Like Jay said, it's no bigger compliment. I grew up listening to 50s music, and at the time I was like, God, Mom, shut this off. But now I'm like, Sam Cooke, like any duot music, I am in on it. I love that stuff. We all go through that thing. Oh, yeah. Patsy Cline, I hated it at the time. Willie Nelson, but now I'm like, Fleetwood Mac, all that stuff. 98.7 K-Wave. I used to hear this around the house growing up. Hello. Is this Neil? Of course. Of course. Is this the Beatles? Just called to say hello. God, it's brilliant.
Sienna has the definition of crunk. Yep, just looked it up. Okay, Woods will tell you. It's a fusion genre of hip-hop music, southern rap, but when you use it as a verb, it means to get high and drunk at the same time. Let's get it. Jenna's singing about this. Is that Urban Dictionary? I'd Google it. Usually Google. That would make me nuts if my kids were listening to... Getting crunk? If they were singing about crunk. I know it sounds like an old dude, but when I was growing up, that wasn't the type of stuff I was listening to. I grew up on the Fleetwood Mac and stuff like that. I listen to this, too. Oh, dude. On the road again. Just can't wait to get on the road again. Meanwhile, joints were falling out of his beer. Startlingly. Mikey, that was my bit to my folks. Yeah? Was, like, I'm from Texas, so my mom liked country music.
And I loved Motley Crue and Ozzy, so they would throw my tapes and stuff away. And I'd be like, country music, it's all about drinking and having sex. And that was my bit to my parents. And they'd be like, yeah, we're not buying your bit, pal. Guilty pleasures. Guilty pleasures today. I'm picking a music. I like this one, too. It's very sweet. I can't believe it. This is a guilty pleasure for me. Me, too. Me, too. It's a very sweet song. We were walking into a concert one time. My wife and I and her friend Erica and Erica's husband Todd. Okay. We were walking into the Coors Amphitheater and we were there to see St. No, Velvet Revolver. Great show, I bet. We were walking in. This song at the time was a big hit on the radio. And I loved it. And Todd goes, have you heard that stupid song? Slays you. The Reason. And I go, yeah. So dumb, right?
He's like, dude, is that like the lamest song you've ever heard in your life? I'm like, yeah. Hoobastank. Is that who it is? Hoobastank. Mikey. With a name like that, it's so easy to make fun of. Mikey, I might have emailed these lyrics to my wife at one point in our relationship. I might have. I might have. You know he's not kidding. I might have. Captain Cheesy. And another brick falls. Yeah, there's no bricks left. See, I put this on my ex-boyfriend's CD, and he was like, same thing. He was like, that's the stupidest song. He's like, thanks very much. You're like, I love you? It's a love song. Got a great story for you, man. Great story about a missing girl that's been found alive. Great story, man. It is an uplifting story we're going to do for you. And that's why I like it. They're another one of my GPBs. Guilty pleasure? Bands, yeah. Guilty pleasure band. This summer, prepare yourself for a love like no other. Pepper and the Kid. Pepper and the Kid. From different sides of the tracks. That movie would last for one hour. One from New Jersey. One from Texas. Both.
Weird. They get on each other's nerves weird. Their relationship lasts 15 minutes. And then gets back together and then breaks up again. And then gets back together and then breaks up again. Maybe he keeps his eyes on his own face. Maybe she doesn't tell me what to do. Maybe he gets. Yeah, maybe they both get. Maybe Sienna could be less interested. I look over at Sienna, she's like... I'm preparing for the next story. You gotta do it like this. On the shores of La Jolla, the seals come crawling out. A love story between emeralds and diamonds. Then you'll get my attention. And seals. Volvos and beavers. True love between a Volvo and a beamer. From different sides of the track in Germany. That build in a song, that build right there. Yeah, I know. I feel you, dude.
It breaks my heart. Every time I hear a build in a song. There was one of the worst movies ever was Meet Joe Black. I love that movie. It was just a terrible movie. I know you did it. It's a great soundtrack. I actually like that movie. The song Black Balloon from the Goo Goo Dolls. Oh, yes. When I saw the preview, I was like, I have to see that movie. The scene with Brad Pitt when they get it on in that movie is an intimate scene. You know that brought in it, Claire Forlani? I didn't know her name. Oh, Mikey. Yeah, she's beautiful. What did happen to her? Here's the deal. I flip on one day and I'm flipping around. I'm like, wow, that's Toby Keith and he's in a movie with Claire Forlani from Meet Joe Black, who is one of the most beautiful women ever. I put her in the category of that girl that was in Up in the Air that we were talking about the other day. I think she's kind of Joey Lauren Adams, her, same kind of thing. Joey Lauren Adams? It makes me uncomfortable watching that movie because I think Brad Pitt's so much better looking than her. It's not a real match. I thought she was so beautiful, man. She's like a Jennifer Connelly. Oh, I love her, too. Wow, you're nice to look at. Nice knots. Oh, my. Interesting. Which doesn't have any. Jennifer Connelly? Oh, no, Jennifer Connelly does. They met the girl. Oh, my God. Y'all keep this up. You're going to be big time. Keep what up? The knots talk? Yeah, I talked to Woods the other day. I gave him that word. You can tell him. Oh, yeah.
It's one of Hoyle's words, actually. Well, I just want to congratulate y'all on a job well done. Thank you, dude. What did we do? Did the meet and greet. I thought y'all did good. Oh, thanks, Hoyle. Most people showed up. It was real nice. Mikey rolled tortillas and flatos. It was great. Hoyle spilled a little beer on his khakis. I did, but they're reversible, so I turned it inside out and you could barely tell. But I thought the meet and greet went so well that we need to step it up to stage two. So we'll do another meet and greet. Nope. Bigger. Bigger meet and greet. Bigger venue. Wrong. How about Qualcomm? Wrong, wrong, wrong. Hello? Who is it? Wrong, wrong, wrong. I'm just kidding. That's like a phone ringing. Y'all ready? Yeah. What are we going to do? Stunts. What? It's time to do stunts, y'all. Stunts? Yes. Like man on the street stunts? No, not that kind of thing. Like throw eggs at me kind of stunts? No. Well, a dunk tank. No, what we're going to do is. We're going to put Woods in a cannon and we're going to shoot him across Interstate 8. Yes. I'm not kidding. He'll be really injured. Y'all know where the 805 bridge is? We're going to shoot you out of a cannon across Interstate 8. We're going to land you in it. Imagine if we did that.
We're going to land you in the comfort end pool. Yeah, we're going to do it. Hell no, we're not. And then the rest of y'all are going to be there, and you're going to be, that's it. Y'all are going to hold cannonballs and jump in the pool with him. That's awful, dude. That's funny. I'm not getting into cannon. Yes, you are, Woods. No, I'm not. It's a big old cannon, and we're going to shoot you across the eight. Anything for the show, Woods. Almost anything. What? You know what you're going to do? I'm doing something, too? Yeah. What? You know how Woods calls you red? Yeah. I thought what we would do is what we're going to do is we're going to pour a bucket of fire ants down your pants and you're going to let me squeal. Oh, really? Fire ants. You get it? Red hot. I'm not going to do that. I'm a pregnant woman. We'll be fine. We are not doing these stunts. These are dangerous. I understand that y'all need to think it over. I've considered that. We're not thinking it over. Think about it a little bit. Yeah, these are kind of painful. Yeah, I get shot out of a cannon. Real good. Blondie, what we're going to do with you, Blondie, is we're going to try to act out an old joke with you. Oh, boy, that sounds tough. Now, you know how they always say, how many blondes does it take to screw in a light bulb? Yeah.
Well, what we're going to do is we're going to have 12 or 15 midget blondes boost you up. Can't say midget, dude. And then we're going to count them as they stack up. We're going to go one, two, three, and then we'll actually answer the question, how many blondes does it take to screw in a lamp? I get on top? That's right. That's pretty good. Nice oil. Where are you coming up with these? I have a whole list of them because back in the day. Back in the day what? When I used to work with Walnut and Hammerhead in Odessa. Odessa, Texas. Odessa, Texas. You know, that's where my dime was born. Is that right? That's right. That's what you call your girlfriend. That's what I call my wife. That's right. Your girlfriend is a 10. Yeah, she's a dime. So you call her your dime. Now, I'm going to tell you right now. Walnut and Hammerhead was nervous the first time I had them do a bunch of the studs. Oh, my gosh. I bet they were. Y'all heard of the Bonky Dollar. I started it. What the hell is that? The Bonky Dollar? Yeah. That's when you ask trivia questions, and every time they get one wrong, a donkey would give them a good swift one. Oh, my gosh. The Bonky Dollar. The Bonky Dollar. Wow. This is for guys only? Guys only. I'm out. I'm in.
That little old mule would kick those suckers right there. Right in the jewels. Right in the jewels and go, hee-haw! Oh, wow. I could not be more out on the whole thing. You got to think about it, though, Woods. I'm not thinking about it. That's why I'm going to train you. I thought about it and I'm out. Nope, I'm going to train you. You're going to be fine. What's that saying, Mackie? Guadalajara wasn't built in a day. You know that. Oh, my God. Mikey Ray? Oh, I think it's actually Rome wasn't built in. Yeah, yeah. Is that what it was? Y'all probably don't remember Evil Knievel, but I used to have him on Booger and Twitch all over. Oh, I know Evil Knievel. He was a hero of mine when I was a little kid. That's right, he's a stuntman. Yeah, stuntman. Broke every bone in his body. That's right. That's Woods' nickname, actually. Yeah. And he used to say to me all the time, he'd look me dead in the eye and he'd go, well, stunts. That's it. That's all he would say. It hit home for me. Stunts. That's where it's at. Y'all got to do it. Stunts. Well, here's what we'll do. We'll have Mikey build a ramp. Why Mikey? I don't know if you want Mikey to do that. Maybe Jay should build it. No. Mikey's not really good with tools. Mikey doesn't even have any tools. Mikey's got to build it, Sienna. Okay.
Got the most experience with manual labor? Should I say Manuel labor? You can't say Manuel labor. Manuel labor? Well, we got the most experience with the Manuel labor. Oil. Oil. You can't say that. You can't say that. That's kind of racist, dude. What? It's not PC. What's racist about it? Manuel. Manuel Labor? It's a play on words. You know it. He's like a chupacabra laborer. Oh, my God. Tartilla labor. Tartilla labor. You can say it however you want. Oh, dude. He's got little brown hands. That's all I'm trying to say. He builds a thing. That guy will build the hell out of a ramp. So what's he going to do on the ramp? He's going to jump it. With what? With a teacup. Look at him. What do you think he's going to jump it with? With a teacup? He's so cute. Just sitting down there all brown. You can't just say that, dude. Why can't I say that? What's the problem? It's not PC. What isn't PC? Brown hands. What's wrong with it? Does he or does he not have brown hands? Manuel Labor.
You ask him right now if he's got a relative named Manuel. You ask him. You ask him. Mikey, do you have a relative named Manuel? No, I don't. I've never had a relative named Manuel. It's a weird question. They're right. It's weird to even ask. It ain't weird. Look in your family tree, buddy. Oh, gosh. I guarantee there's two things. In your family tree, a tortilla and someone named Manuel. They're both in your family tree. Wow. All right, Hoyle. Weird. He's weird. I bet Hoyle has someone named Billy Bob in his family tree. Oh, really? Yeah. Is that right? Don't you. How many blondes does it take? Good one. That's a good one, Hoyle. That's funny. So we got to do stunts now. That's what he wants. I mean, the guy's a station manager. I'm not getting shot out of a cannon. I was down with the donkey one. Donkey baller? Yes. I thought it was monkey dollar. That's what I said. Manuel. I'm Woods. Manuel. Let's see. Oh, listen to this. This was great. Speaking of Woods, the other day, Jay's hanging out with his son, Jasper, who's seven, right? Yep. And he asks Jasper,
What do you want to do, build Legos or jump on the trampoline? And Jasper busts out with, I want to jump on the trampoline. You know that. No, he's out of nowhere. He did not. He hangs out with you a couple times. I think you bought him yogurt once. Now he's in your camp. He's like, you know that. He did not. He did. He looked me in the eye and, you know that. That's great. You know that is probably my favorite one of your phrases. That is so great. I say it now, and every time I say it, my wife just gives me a quick look like, really? She wants to say it, too. Oh, she will. Rebecca goes kicking and screaming, but eventually she comes around. She will say it. Yes, Mike, I closed the closet door. You know that. Kim gives me a hard time because she's like, you're not in your little club right now. Oh, yeah. Your little radio club. Your little radio team. That is awesome. You're home. Stop. Stop right where you are. You're not. My wife used to say, you're not on the air all the time. You can't use your beds. But I'm pretty much this at home. Yeah. Imagine that. Well, that's what I said to Woods.
You know, I got to give Rebecca credit because Rebecca is the one that suggested Woods. And I said, he's a walking, talking glossary of his own. Glossary. When was the last time you heard that word? That's true. He's got his own dictionary. In my own world. I said, we just put that on the air and have him do that. It's working. Pepper went to Old Town on Sunday to interview people for her bit. Settle a bet. What is Old Town? Old Town is by downtown. No. You got to go. You guys have to go, though. That's a big tourist spot. Yes. Right. It's where they have a lot. It's cool. It's where San Diego started. They got a lot of Mexican food down there. Where's the Cowboy Stadium? Exactly. They have a lot of Mexican food down there, but they also have. You just call it food? Yes, I just call it food. If I'm referring to it, I'm like, do you guys want to go have some food? It's a birthplace in San Diego. But they also have, in Old Town, they have a lot of old houses that you can tour because they're haunted. The Whaley House. The Whaley House. So you go get some Mexican food and tour haunted houses. Well, she went down there. She was down there to talk to tourists. Pepper was down there to talk to tourists. And one of the guys at the restaurant asked her if she was down there ghost hunting. Because I had the mic with me. And I was like, oh, man, I don't know if I got the audio or not because I forgot my headphones. I'm like, man, I hope I got it. And he overheard me.
And he asked her if she was down there ghost hunting. And she said no. But it gave her the creeps. And she went to bed and, you know, got scared. Well, here's the thing. She says, so when I got into bed, I was still kind of freaked out. So I took a running start and jumped into my bed. Ever since I saw the movie The Gate, I'm afraid of someone grabbing at my ankles from under the bed and pulling me down under the bed with them. Thanks, Pep. To the depths of hell. Thanks, Pep. She saw the movie 20 years ago. She's still afraid and now sews woods. Thanks, Pep. Yeah, it's going to be in his head forever. I'll be diving into my bed. It has not gone. It's like, if you see the movie, they're like, and they let the arms come out and they grab the ankles and pull the kid under. Oh, it's the worst. It's the scariest movie. Yeah, the kid. Do you guys have any irrational fears? I don't think so. I do. What, Jay? When I was a kid.
a possum got into our house. And I know, it seems crazy. And my sister screamed in the middle of the night. We all woke up and looked around for this. She said it was a giant rat. So then I went back to bed and I put the covers up over my head and then pulled the covers down tighter on my face where all my face was poking out. Every once in a while, I'll still sleep like that. I'm like, can't get me. Because I started thinking vampires could get me, a giant rat could get me. So if my face just shows. A possum could get you. But I had a dream. And this is like the only dream I remember from my childhood, a nightmare, a giant rat. This is so weird. Like smacked a hole in my bedroom wall on the outside. It was that giant. It just walked up, hit it, punched through and was like in my room. And like it was me in my bed in my dream. And I woke up to the rat and the rat's like. I'm not kidding. It was like the only time I remember running into my parents' room and being like, there's a giant rat. There's a huge hole in my wall. It broke through. Do you still get afraid of that now? No, but if I see a rat, I mean, how often do you see rats? Mom! I want a big rat. Please. No, I don't want a big rat. Mom, fortify our walls with gold so that a rat can't break in. No, I made my dad come back in the room and make sure. He's like, Sienna, go back to sleep. There's no giant rat.
That's awesome. Yeah, so I don't really like rats now. Dude, that's not irrational at all. Still not as bad as a Cree. Yeah. I just love that Jay had a possum break. Yeah. We looked and looked, too, because we called my sister a liar. Like, there was nothing in here. So we all went back to bed, and sure enough, I said, I'm going to sleep with the other sister. Did it eat the henjo when it was in the house? My dad ended up hitting this possum with a telephone book to get it out of the house. He's, like, holding it down with a phone book, and it's, like, it literally looked like the biggest rat. Come here, boy. So then his dad took this shell off and turned it into the family car. Look what we're going to eat in the morning, boy. That's right. Possum stew. Possum and eggs. I think my grandfather used to eat possum. I'm not kidding. That's hideous. That's what they did. Hideous. He's from the hills of Tennessee. You don't worry about it. That's hideous, dude. They're the ugliest creature ever in the world. You've got to have one of those weird fears. Irrational fears. I had an irrational fear of outhouses. You go to the bathroom? Port-a-potty? Yeah, port-a-potty. What's so scary about them? How many outhouses have you been around? When I was a child. No.
I don't remember where. In Tijuana? Yes, in Tijuana. I think we went camping or something when I was a kid. No. No, that must not have been. No, I don't know what we did, but we went somewhere where there was an outhouse. And I was terrified of it because I thought I was going to fall in it. Oh, yeah. So you guys did a family trip to Arkansas when you were a little kid. I don't know where we went, but I was just afraid because, you know, I had such a narrow little butt. I thought that when I sat on there, I was going to fall in. Yeah, now there's no danger of that. No danger of that. But when you go into a port-a-potty now, aren't you still a little bit like... Yeah, I still have those memories. It comes back to you like you're still a little kid. The port-a-potty for him is probably more about germs now. Now? Well, yeah, but you still get those reflexes from childhood. Would you ever file papers in a port-a-potty ever? For any reason? I would have to be really, really needing to file papers. It would only be if the alternative were total disaster. Total and utter disaster. Is there anything worse than Qualcomm at a preseason August game waiting in line and getting into that thing and having to talk like this because you're trying to plug your nose while you're standing in there and it's 170 degrees inside of the blue plastic little building you're in? See, I'm terrified that someone's going to...
Dump it as a bit. While you're in there. Oh, my God. I have to have the same fears. I do. St. Paddy's Day in Dallas is a, you wouldn't think it, but it's a huge, huge parade. And parties all up and down the street. Amazing time. But there's porta-potties everywhere. And literally, you walk in there and you're like, not dude, dude. Because you can see through the little slits on top. And your buddies do the bit of, hey, hey, hey, hey. And they're trying to get it open. You're like, dude. Please. I'm going to kill you. Let's make a rule. So then the last year I go, all right. Let's make a rule. No screwed around by the port-a-potty. I'm afraid, like, a stranger will even do it or, like, a car will back into it. Like, I'm so afraid. Can you imagine her in a port-a-potty and it falls over on his door? I don't even talk. I won't open my mouth because I'm afraid if I open my mouth, it'll seep in. Yeah, the germs from, like, the air, the doo-doo air. It'll get into my mouth and into my bloodstream. That's so gross. If you're just in there, you don't even want to open your mouth because you're like, I don't want this air in my body. All I'm thinking about is that scene in Slumdog Million.
Oh, my God. Mikey. You never saw it. You never saw it. A little chocolate-covered kid. Okay. Thank you. He does what you're afraid of. Got it. He needs to get out. I know. And he jumps down. And you're being inappropriate. Yes. You did. Yes. M1, Funky Cold Medina. Yeah. Yes. What's up? How's it going, Mikey? Good. Yeah, wow. I've been listening to you since I was a freshman in high school, so now I'm checking in college. I'm old. Holler. Okay, I've been calling almost every Friday, and I kind of never get through, but I want you to listen to a song so you can consider on your closings on Friday. Okay, can you send it to me, bro? Okay. Send it to me as a recommendation or whatever. Write me an email, okay? Mikey at MikeyShow.com. Yeah, because you were talking right now about builds on songs. Who's it by? Who's it by? It's Under O. Okay, cool. Thank you, man. I appreciate it. All right, then, Mikey. We'll see you. M1 hot for teacher? Yeah, my fiancee actually has a very irrational fear. When she was a kid, her mom had to clean up, like, a bunch of throw-up with wet napkins. Oh, gross. And ever since then, she's, like, deathly afraid. Like, I remember when I first met her, I cleaned something up with a napkin, and it was, like, water spilt over, and she, like, started throwing up because she was, like, rethinking from her childhood. And I was like...
I was like, what's wrong with you? She's like, I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. And she just walked out. Wet naps. Wet napkins made her violently ill. My little sisters like that would throw up if she hears. Oh, I'm like that. If someone says, oh, yeah, I was sick last week. And Waverly's like, did you throw up? And they're like, yeah. And she'll cry. She starts to cry. Really? Do you guys remember being little kids and when you would get sick like that, you would cry while you were doing it? I still do. You still do it? Yeah, when I throw up, I do the... Ask Jamie. She'll call in. I'll go. Me too. That's fantastic. Oh, yeah. It just tears. It's the worst. I am the most violent vomiter ever. Thank you, Wes. You're welcome. Appreciate it. Appreciate that. Damn it. I like this one too. It's guilty pleasures. Damn you, Jamie. Damn you. Well, here's the deal. We were going to tell you about this. An 11-year-old girl. that was missing has been found alive. Right, Sienna? Yeah, we talked about it briefly yesterday, but now more details have come out. She went missing on Friday. They found her yesterday, around this time, four days after she disappeared into an alligator-infested swamp half a mile from her home. And the crazy part is, is that police didn't find her. FBI didn't find her. It was a man who goes to church with her family. He said that...
Like, he had a message from God or something, and God helped him find her. And so he put toilet paper all over a tree and called the police, and they put the toilet paper on the tree so they would know where they are. And, yeah, it took a couple hours to get her out of the swamp, but she's okay. And I guess what she said was, I'm glad you guys found me. I can't believe you guys rescued me. And even the police chief was like, I never believed in miracles until today. That's a pretty amazing story. I mean, I believe in miracles now. Any details of how she got there, Sienna? No. They said she was a little autistic, I think. No, yeah, she has Asperger's syndrome. Asperger's syndrome. Wow. Well, that's a happy story, man. I'm glad to hear that. Tires. Let's go. I'm totally craving a frappe at Mickey D's. A frappe what? Frappe. You're not making any sense. A frappe, as in McCafe frappe. What are you talking about? McDonald's takes a little coffee magic, ice, serious sweetness, then puts it all in a blender and makes a delicious cup of perfection. Wow. In mocha or caramel flavors. Nice. I drop a straw through the whipped cream and chocolate or caramel drizzles, and suddenly, I'm on the fast train to Blissville. There room for two on that ride? McDonald's new sweet-blended iced McCafe Frappes, made with a hint of coffee and real whipped cream. Your day just got a little cooler and a whole lot sweeter. So how was your first train to Blissville? Sweet. I'm thinking of making one more stop at the, uh... Caramel Station. At participating McDonald's. AT&T lets you build a bundle that's right for you with wireless voice service, digital home phone, internet, and TV services. Cable doesn't do that.

A truck and an SUV involved in a crash there. Ambulance heading to the scene for possible injuries. Coronado Bridge eastbound after the mid-span. Watch out there for a few cones in the right lane. Westbound 56, heavy between Carmel Valley Road and Interstate 5. Traffic is also brought to you by McDonald's. It's back. Now quench your thirst for less at McDonald's. For a limited time, choose from a variety of 42-ounce icy cold soft drinks. For only 79 cents, that's a lot of refreshment for very little change. I'm Elaine O'Brien, FM 94.9. Diego, the Lincoln Financial Media Station, the new home of the Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. Just listen. Just give it a chance. Just listen. I know who this is. Rhymes with smiley. It smells like farty. Guilty pleasures? Except for the guilty part, absolutely. Just pleasures.
In the car with my wife, comes up on the little screen what the song is, and she goes, I hate to admit that I love a Miley Cyrus song. And I listen to it, and I go, that's who this is? She goes, yeah. I go, this song's great. Is that a crescendo? That's not a crescendo. That's a crescendo. It is? It's a build. Whatever it is, you put that element in any song, I'm in 100%. Welcome back. O.J. Simpson is back in the news, man. Yeah. Yeah. What did I do now? What did you do? You did it. You're crazy. If you try to make it seem like I did it, I guarantee you put something there to make it seem like I did it. I know if the glove don't fit, you must have quit. Oh my gosh.
The Nevada Supreme Court, they're going to be hearing oral arguments in O.J. Simpson's appeal. Apparently, his attorney will be given 30 minutes to make his client's case during a hearing on June 11th. The brief was filed with the state Supreme Court last November because Simpson's attorney is claiming the verdict should have been overturned because jurors were not given proper instructions when O.J. was on trial. Plus, I got to get out of here, man, and look for the real killer, man. I thought all my attorneys was dead. Yeah. Bob Kardashian, dead. Johnny Cochran. Dead. That's right, man. Hey, listen. I have a feeling I know where... F. Lee Bailey. Dead. Dead. I think I know where the real killer is. The back nine. If you just let me go to the back nine, I bet you I'll find him. Seriously, man. If you just let me go to Pebble Beach and do the back nine, I'm pretty sure I'll find the real killer. Absolutely. And then after that... If you let me just go through Augusta just one time, man, I think I can find a real killer because I think that's where he is. In Georgia. In Georgia. Yeah, man. Oh, wow. Does it kill you when you go to the gas station and the dude leaves the receipt still in the receipt thing? You have to tear it off and throw it away for him so you can get your stuff. Who gets a receipt at the gas station? It makes me nervous if I don't. Yeah. If I find someone's, I'm like.
Don't they know? Know what? It's like confidential stuff in there. What is it? It's got your last four dig. You don't use your ATM card or a credit card? Of course I do. So when it says, do you need a receipt, you just press no. Don't you need to record it? What, am I a tax attorney? What do I care? Don't you have to balance your checkbook? Yeah. No. Do you use credit card or your checking account card? Checking account card. How do you know what you spend? Because I have online. It doesn't always update right away. Oh, really? So wait a minute. If you have online, I don't do our banking. If you have online, I don't need to save those. I save those for my wife. And she says, I need your receipts. I save that stuff like I'm a nutball. Who balances a checkbook? Yeah, I haven't balanced a checkbook. I haven't balanced a checkbook since they taught us how to in ninth grade. Yeah, I don't balance a checkbook, but I...
I will keep records of those things because I keep a budget for myself. Why do I keep them then? She has me keep them, man. But here's the deal. Like, you can... Here's what drives me nuts about the budget bit. Like, I know what I need. Like, I just go get it. I need... Right away. So you are... Right. And he's seconds. I'm sorry. No. Tokyo. Teen people in line. Two seconds for me to get my snack. Not for gas. Kill me. He's a gas. Reach way back. That guy kills me. And it's Woodsy. And it's Jay. And it's Jay. I can't believe that. I will pull right. I'm a consumer of the store. And they're probably making more money off me than they are off the gasoline that they're buying. It's fine if you get gas. It's fine. No, I'm not going to get gasoline. I'm sure the store doesn't care. I got a new bit then. I'll pull in. I'm quick in and out. I got a new bit, Jay. What is it? Pull up. Don't put your card in. Put the pump in your deal and just walk in. The decoy. We'll call that the decoy, pal. What do you think about that? I think it's unbelievable. What do you think about that? I think maybe that's... Are you teaching people this? That's the reason that there's a line to wait for gas because people that aren't getting gas are going inside. No, but here's the deal. The guy that does this with...
That pumps his gas, then goes into browse. I get that. But the guy that goes into browse first, then comes out and pumps his gas. I got a problem with that guy. I think I did him on Dude, You're Dumb this week. That guy kills me. Do what you came there to do. If you need gas, fill up the gas. You need to run inside, run inside while the gas is pumping. If you need a pack of smokes, you're going to be two seconds. Park there. Run in. Get out and go. But that is probably one of the most expensive places to buy cigs. Why don't you just go to a freestanding place that doesn't have gas pumps? Yeah, why is he choosing like? Like a 7-Eleven. That's a great point. Yeah. Why has the kid got to go to Shell to get a pack of cigarettes? Yeah, they're probably the most expensive there. No. You think? When's the last time you bought a pack of cigarettes? Yeah, exactly. Get it. I don't know. Please. But you go to 7-Eleven everywhere. You can go to CVS, 7-Eleven. I used to work at an Eckerd's Drugs and they were the cheapest there. Yeah, I don't go to drugstores because they're old. M1 Aaron. Yep, I'm here. What up? Not much. You know what kills me at the gas station, Mike? What? I drive a 20-foot-long truck, diesel. Yeah. And sometimes they pull in, and there's people putting, you know, those pumps that have a gas dispenser and a diesel dispenser. Right. And they're filling up with gasoline, and I have to wait for them. Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
I did not, I'm that guy, because I didn't realize it until you just said it right now. Do you guys know what he's saying? No. In other words, there, yeah, there are a few pumps at every station that have diesel as well. Yeah. So it's not just regular, it's diesel. Just a few. Yeah. He's saying it drives him nuts when he's got to get his diesel, and me, or Sienna, sitting there putting regular gas in. Oh, I do that too. Oh, me too. I thought they read all of them. Well, yeah, wait a minute, wait a minute. I got, wait, Aaron, I think I have a defense for this. Okay. Why do they have the other ones there if they're not meant to be used, my friend? He's got kind of a point there. If they're empty, but sometimes I just pull up to the only open one, and if it's diesel there, too, I'm not going to be like, ooh. Other pumps are busy, you know. It's okay. It's fine then. It's like using the Handicapped Bathrooms doll. It's like, oh, okay. They're all open and you go in and use that one and you don't need to use that one. Didn't know until now, though. You shouldn't do that. But it's the only available one. Did you even know that? Yeah, you know it says Handicapped on it. No, no, no. I'm not talking about that. What is the basis of this judging me? I'm getting weird spam, for one. Like?
Like I got a Goo Goo Dolls beach towel ad. I do like the Goo Goo Dolls. That ain't mine. I know that ain't mine. I bet you like them too. What? Listen, dude. My email is mine and no means no. Yeah, it's probably Mel Dog. It ain't Mel Dog, dude. Come here, you. I'll show you all the way. Don't touch me. Let me get my cast away. Don't! Don't you keep your hands off. You keep your hands off. You want some spam? I'll let this. My email is like my body. It belongs to me, dude. You have a ball, dude. I didn't touch it. Yeah. Well, you were always on it, and I can tell. You want to know why? Why? Because if you wanted my password, bro, all you got to do is ask for it. We're best friends. And I can tell because it smells like John Varvatos all over my head. My keyboards smell like John Varvatos. FYI, pal, I haven't worn that in about a year. Oh, really? Well, I can still smell a faint scent like Migs in the next cell, all right? I can tell. I can tell. You want my password, bro? All you had to do was say, Mother, may I?
Mother May I. What's your password? I ain't giving out my password, Red. Woods222. Hey, Woods. Hey, Frank. I'll forgive you, dude. Just take me out to a nice dinner, bro. And a picnic. And a picnic. With my love. And throwing frisbee in Balboa Park. And a yoga class. And we're even. No way. I didn't do it. All of the day. I didn't do it, pal. Dude, all I know is I'm noticing pop-ups on my computer for lotions and different lip lubes. Really, dude? Yeah. And I'm starting to think that somebody's been searching for that kind of stuff on my computer, bro. Maybe it's Mikey. Oh, really? Well, the last time Mikey came over, the only thing he did is come over to make me a tortilla. Fresh tortillas in my house. Nice. Mikey comes over in woods. You don't even go over? Yeah, dude, we're best friends. We not even hung out one time. Except when he's creeping around your computer. Yeah, when he's looking in there. I've never looked in your computer, I promise you. On our best friendship. You swear on our best friendship? I swear on our best friendship. Dude, last time I was in my email, my default setting for my font was dark salmon.
Yeah, dude. And all of a sudden, it's back to black. And I'm like, dude, something ain't right. It's not me. This is not right, dude. Let's start from scratch. Me and you, all right? All right. Clean slate. Okay. You've been looking at my email. I've been looking at yours. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I haven't been looking at yours, and you've been looking at mine? I'm just saying, dude, we're besties. Yeah, but I never told you you'd look at my email. That's creepy. We look at emails, dude. We tandem skydive. We do stuff together. No, we don't. We do. We're friends, man. Did you guess his password, Frankie? I guessed it. It was easy. It was just total. Can I tell it? Sure. Woods loves Frankie. That was my password? I don't think so. Woods loves Frankie, man. Forever. Oh. I'm going to solve this whole little messy sitch right now, man. How? Sitch. This is what I'm going to do. I'm going to start a new email. Yeah, you probably need to if somebody's hacked in your account. It wasn't me, by the way. Dude, you said it best the other day, Woods. Oh, you got to open up and trust each other. No, Jesus. You do, dude. You said it, man. Bessie's got to do that. And you said, in fact.
You was like best before breasts. Remember you said that? No, I didn't. Yeah, you did, bro. No, I didn't. Now you're playing like Danny Zuko on Grease. Like now that your friends are around, you're not going to be all cool? No. Just to play it safe. I'm changing my email. You should. I'm changing my address. Sienna and Pepe, you helped me think of a new email. Of course I will. I got three ideas. I'm going to let you know and then you tell me which one to pick. Okay. Frankie and Woods are friends at yahoo.com. Okay. Letter R or the word R? The letter R. Okay. You know that. You know that. Franksandwoods at gmail.com. I like that. Franks and Woods. Franks and Woods. Or Frudzie at Hotmail. What's Frudzie? It's like our celebrity name. It's like Frankie and Woodzie. It's like Brangelina. Yeah, it's like Brangelina, but it's Frudzie. Hollywood couple. I like that one best. I think I like, what about Wanky? I love that. Wanky. Wanky. I loved it. Yeah, Frank. So you get all those tank tops. The tank top emporium. One in every color. Yeah, it's a tank in every color. Mesh. Today's was lime green. Tank top emporium. Tank top emporium. Down there in OB.
You should start a kiosk. Yeah, maybe we will. Today I picked the music and the theme is Guilty Pleasures. Kelly Clarkson. There's gay dudes right now going, cheese monkey. Adam Lambert just went, that guy is so gay. He's so gay. I used to get some music I've ever heard. Sing it. I went abroad to Spain. You took abroad to Spain? You took abroad to Spain when? When I went abroad to Spain, I missed my little bubble of La Jolla since I've never lived more than a few blocks from my parents. I listened to this song whenever I was homesick. Grew up in a small town. Up in a small town called La Jolla. Used to have a gold gown. Used to. Now it's made of diamonds. People are going to like this.

So you don't have to put your hands over your face like that, Woods. It's called guilty pleasures. It sounds like it's filing papers. Is this Nickelback?
I didn't like Nickelback. Chad, we went ahead and put the microphone right into the bathroom for you, so it's going to come out nice and clear for the fans. I like it. You're better than that. No, I'm not. Yeah, you are. No, I like it. You think you're not, but you are. Sounds good in my ears. Catchy. That sounds good in your ears. What does Chino Moreno do for you? Greatness. I love Chino, honey. Love Chino. But I can't, yeah, I gotta admit it. My brother argues about Nickelback. He loves it. And he just, you know. He doesn't get the bashing. Well, I tell him, I say, you know, the lyrics are really stupid though, right? They're really cheesy. They're so dumb. And he goes, who listens to lyrics? And he gets really passionate about it. He goes, you know what? People that listen to lyrics, that's so stupid. And he gets like really fired up about it. He's like, that's so dumb. I don't care. Who cares? I don't listen to music for that reason, man. I drive around. I'm just listening to the song. I'm like, okay, dude.
I want to be a rock star. Didn't yesterday we all had no idea the Outfield song, what they even were saying. I did. Woodsy did because Woodsy listens, man. He paid attention to the lyrics. I think it comes from trying to write songs because I'm the worst songwriter in the world. It's so hard to do. So I guess you listen to it a lot. If you're a musician, Mike, you listen to it. Because I'm a musician, man. I listen to it a little more. You do? Well, that's the thing. What is it? Some people are really into it, you know? Are they? Yesterday, Woodsy had a really relaxing day and status on Facebook that he was watching The Breakfast Club. Oh, dude. Started a battle of the quotes. I know. That's one of the most quotable movies in the world. Some guy goes, isn't it funny how everyone's going to Google to find quotes? And I wanted to write back, pal. Nobody has to go to Google to find these quotes, man. You don't. This is gold. Yeah, how do you not know? Most people that are into The Breakfast Club have seen it 500 times. Oh, yeah, the school would shut down if you didn't show up. Queenie's not here. You can do it on the boat. I like, shut up.
Bleep, go make me a chicken pot pie. Because this is what happens in our house when you spill paint in the garage. You don't believe me? Oh, man. Did anyone put the physics club up there? No, that's the best. I'm also in the physics club. It's a fat girl's name. It's a family name. It's a fat girl's name. It's amazing. It's great. Moliere really pumps my ass. All day. I could do it all day long. Breakfast club, quotable. quotable film. Maybe one day on the air we do Mikey doing ramps and doing his old K-wave bit and then we do movie quotes for the rest of the day. Sure. All the way in. What movie do you think that you know the best would? Boy, dude. There's so many of them that I know like top to bottom. Like Top Gun, I know every word. Really? Every single word in that. I know Beverly Hills Cop, Front to Back.
100%. I know Dirty Dancing and Almost Famous. The Footloose, I know every single word. I don't think I know every word to any movie. Caddyshack, every word. Animal House, every word. Old School, every word. Wedding Crashers, every word. Me too. And any, like, Adam Sandler movie. Let's see if this makes anybody uncomfortable. This was from last night. Adam Lambert was the, what do they call it? Mentor. Mentor on American Idol. Considering he didn't even win last year. See if this makes anybody uncomfortable. This is a moment between Ryan Seacrest and Adam Lambert. Which one would you do if you were singing tonight? What do you want from me? That's the one. That's what I would do. I'd do it in my car. At the end of it, it's so good. Get the tongue out. My tongue is not nearly as talented as yours.
That's the greatest thing I've ever heard. Michael, I don't see what's so funny. You know what I mean by singing. I know exactly what he means. I know you do. Not that I know from experience. I'm just saying. What is wrong with Ryan Seacrest? Nothing's wrong with him, Wolfgang. I didn't see anything wrong with him. I think he's great. He's fabulous. It was an uncomfortable moment, though. It was a great moment. Well, there seemed to be silence from the audience. I thought it was already uncomfortable when he kind of imitated him. And then the tongue thing was... A little awkward. What's wrong with the tongue, Lauren? Nothing's wrong with the tongue, but... Tongue is very important in lovemaking. Okay, weird, weird, definitely weird. Adam Lebert has a very, very long tongue. And I meant in singing, Michael. It's very important in singing. Is it? Proper inflection is very important. And you're being inappropriate. I'm not being inappropriate, Michael. And you're being inappropriate. Randy Jackson said something, too, but his mic was off. Of course he did. He's loud. Randy Jackson's a loud mouth. And you're being inappropriate. Am I? And you're being inappropriate. Doesn't he have a big mouth? He has a very large mouth. And you're being inappropriate.
I guarantee Ryan Seacrest on his show today got on the air and talked all about it and played the clip. He did, Sienna. I listen to Ryan Seacrest every morning. Why don't you listen to us? He's fabulous. Yeah. Your show is passe. And you're being inappropriate. I like Ryan Seacrest in the morning. He's not on San Diego anyway. I listen on my iPad. You do? I do. You listen on your iPad. Every morning, Michael. Is that right? Every morning. Oh, you're so jolly, Wolfgang. So you're sitting there in a yellow sequined outfit. Yes. Listening to the Ryan Seacrest show? Every single morning. On my iPad, Mikey. Wow. Most iPads don't have speakers, but mine do. I thought you were wearing little earbuds. Mm-mm. iPads. I thought it would have something in my lip. Oh, my God. Well, Wolfgang, you're really something else, aren't you? So are you, Mike. I know it. Thanks for stopping by. It's my pleasure. Anytime. Do you guys know who Kevin Eubanks is? Yes, Tonight Show. Tonight Show Dude. Guitar player? Yeah? Yeah. Tonight Show Dude made a big announcement to the world. And I wonder, I'm not trying to stir anything up, but I wonder about it.
Here's what he said. Kind of got out a little bit a few months ago that I'm going to be leaving The Tonight Show after 18 years. Just kind of making it official and all that. I wonder if it's a Jay Leno thing. He probably wants to go do a solo jazz record or something that nobody's going to buy. Like that other guy? He kind of alludes to that being the reason. Well, I thought about this, and it wasn't that difficult. After 18 years of playing America into commercials, I'm going to go somewhere where I can finish a song, man. Yes! I've got to finish a song, you know. Who cares? You get any other clown up there with a guitar. I could go play the Tonight Show. You could? Yes. Absolutely. I thought it's hard. It is hard. Is it? I don't know. You know the songs. You go play the deal. He's talented. He very well may be. Is he? It's not. But it's not. Lauren, but it's not. a job that really requires a lot of talent you know he may be very talented he's saying i think that's what he's saying that he needs he's got so much more to offer and he gets cut off after eight measures it was kind of like when ace freely left kiss to go do his own thing how'd that work out for you i don't know how did it work out for i'm a gardener and barefoot contestant not very well pal not very well at all four people in the kiss army right now
Really understood what you were talking about when you said Ace Fraley. But Sienna and Pepper stared into space. Oh, yeah. I know him. Yeah. Really? Ace Fraley? Yeah. Four guys with a star painted on their face. Right now. They got a star painted on their face right now. I would if I could. Burke Melman put on his white gloves. Oh, yeah. That's right. With no fingertips. Fingerless. Started rocking out to that. Let's see. Apparently, a study has found that changing your password a lot doesn't do much. Yeah, you're telling me.
You know, like how at a lot of jobs, they make you change your password all the time, like once a month. So dumb. And it's such a pain. Well, obviously, I mean, people are researching it and they're like, okay, there's no way. If someone's going to find your password, they're going to use it right then and there. They're not going to wait, you know, a few weeks and then use it. That's like if someone found your keys to your house, you know, they're going to wait around until the locks are changed and then try to use the key. So it doesn't really just keep the same password. That's it. Beating. When your work says you have three days left, five days later, you're like, I can't get in my email. Yeah, oh, no, and then you finally change it, and then it takes you two weeks to remember what the new one is, and then you change it again. Caps, symbols, numbers. It's got to be 18 characters long. It's a nightmare. Yes! Talk it up. K-Wave 97 FM, and Kim called in, wanted to hear this one, going out to her brother-in-law. Loves the Orleans, spent a lot of time there. It's K-Wave, 97 FM. I just don't like the way beef tastes at all. Sienna. I made reservations for us last night. And Jay. I'm so tired. On FM 94.9. Woods, he just got me fired up. You're welcome, pal. When I was first getting into radio, my hero. On the radio was this dude named Jojo Kincaid who used to work at Q106 here in San Diego. And this guy. In fact, when I moved away, moved to Rochester, this guy was here in San Diego. I used to ask if I could send him self-addressed stamped envelopes so that he could put cassettes in them of him. He sent them to me. Did he do it? He didn't. He said he did, but I never got them. But if you lived in San Diego,
And if you've lived in San Diego for any length of time, what'd you do? Just search Jojo? Yeah, I just hit in YouTube. I hit Jojo Kincaid. Jojo Kincaid. I've never seen Mikey. He was like a kid in a candy store. Oh, my gosh. I had no idea that you could find it on YouTube. Next to Q. If right now you're trying to think of a restaurant for dinner tonight. Let's see if anybody remembers this. Escanito Auto Park. Yeah. 1.9% financing. Subject to credit approval. This is from circa 1989 here in San Diego Radio. It's on with money in the music. Friday, my attitude is showing. Jojo Cook in here on Q. One. Sit. Write the song down. Word up. This will get you $106 if you count to win. Uncut. He goes somewhere else because I didn't live here in that era, but I've heard him before. I think he was in Boston. I think maybe he was in Boston. He's been all over. Boston, San Francisco, all over the place. Sure, it was in Philly? I don't think so, but it could have been. It could have been Philly. Could have been Philly. You know, had he been in Philly, I would have known about it. It could have been. What are you eating? Ask Jared. He'll know. What is that? Is that whey protein? What is that? What is that? No, it's yogurt. It is? It's not yogurt. Yeah, it is, but I think it was.
Not too long. I think it's mayonnaise. No, it's yogurt. It's just, I think it was not too long. It's just yogurt funny. It's just yogurt. Is it just plain? Just yogurt. Plain yogurt? Tell it yogurt. I'll just call it yogurt. Tell it yogurt. Yeah. M1 Allen is on the line. Allen is not on the line. He's got his radio turned on. Please turn down your radio if you're calling to the show. Let's see. That was awesome. Oh. I love seeing Mike. He's so fired up. Oh, yeah. I'll go home. I'll watch that all day. All day long. Like you were talking about, he hits it on the beat. On the cue. It's great. I would never be able to do that. Never. Brett Michaels, he had an emergency appendectomy. What does that mean? It means that they had to rush him to the hospital to have it because it was... Oh, for his appendix. Mm-hmm.
Yeah. It's like bad situation. Oh, wow. There he is. I'm sitting in the hospital feeling pretty good. Don't know if my appendectomy surgery has done well. Will the song rhyme at some point in time or will it just go on and on? I don't know if it will or not. I don't know. And I guess that's why Mikey shouldn't do random bits. So Brett Michaels, yeah, he was actually rushed to the hospital in San Antonio Sunday night. He was feeling some, oh wow, suffering extreme stomach pains. Had an emergency appendectomy to remove his appendix 1 a.m. Monday morning. And he's still there because he spiked a fever overnight last night.
which could be a sign of infection. So he has to stay there for a while and keep an eye out on him. So hopefully he's okay. Marilyn Monroe had an x-ray that is going to be auctioned off. How gross is that? That's really weird. So weird, yeah. People are bidding on it, on her x-ray. What is it, an x-ray of just her whole body? Her chest. Weird. Yeah, it shows her ribs. And so how much is it worth? As well as there's an outline of famed cleavage, is what they're saying. It is? I don't know. They say you can see an outline of cleavage. Oh, my gosh. Creeps. Oh, look at who's here. Yay. Look who's here. It's the topper. I love this guy. Oh, wow. He's tickling me. What did he just do? Did he just tickle you? Oh, he's tickling me. Gross. That's so inappropriate. It's so weird. He just tickled Pepper, too. What's up, Mike? What's going on, topper? I'm buying it. Buying what? I'm buying it. You're buying the Marilyn Monroe X-ray. I'm buying it. How come you always coincidentally come in and you're, like, doing whatever it is that we're talking about or whatever? I just woke up. You did? Yeah, man. Yeah, I've been partying, dude. I was in L.A. last night for the Laker game, and I went out with Kobe. You did? It was rad. We're still waiting on those tickets, Tapp. Sometime, dude. We'll make it happen, Pat. Anything for you. So how's, uh, where's Todd?
Weird when you do that, dude. It's so weird when you look at Sienna and you say, where's Todd? Hey, hey, hey. Her eyes are up there. Yeah. Hey, you better put those things away. All right. They are put away. They are put away. I'm wearing a dress. Sienna, if he makes you feel uncomfortable, you let me know. Todd was a weirdo. What's up? Hold on. What are you doing? Don't do that on the air. Why do you have to get on your phone? Topper. You came in here. We're on the air. Finish up your call before you come in. Why don't you finish the call, then come in the studio? It's my buddy Bryce. Yeah, man. Really? Your buddy Bryce? Jet skis, dude. Hey. Load them in my Hummer. I'll see you down there this afternoon. It's April. I'm going to play golf, dude, then we're going to ride jet skis. Really, in April? Really. You're riding jet skis in April? But we're going to Dubai. That's where we're playing. We're playing in Dubai, and then we're going to ride jet skis in Dubai. You're going to take your jet skis to Dubai? Yeah, he's loading them up. Bryce is? Yeah, Bryce is. Really? Private jet? Yeah. G5. By the way. Oh, my gosh. By the way, I got an email about you. From? Somebody said that you have a weird MySpace page. First of all, what are you doing? How old are you? I'm 38. Really? With the MySpace page? What's wrong with that, dude? It's where I meet girls. I know, dude, but there's a picture of you. Looks like this, right? On Fiesta. Don't show me that. Does it look like that? Put your shirt back on. Topper. It's a picture of you on Fiesta Island with no shirt on. Just partying, dude.
Pierced nipples. That's what I do. How old are the people you're partying with in that picture? 18, 19. Yeah. That's creepy. He's 38 years old. It's not that creepy. It's really creepy, Topper. It's not that creepy. But hey, I got to run because my driver's waiting for me. Your driver. Yeah, my driver's downstairs. Loading him in the Hummer. He's going to drive me to the Hummer. The Hummer's on your head. I got to go to Dubai. That's my jam. Dude, I love Smash Mouth. You're weird. You're weird. I love Smash Mouth. Topper. He's a walking cliche. Wow, dude. Reminds me a lot of guys I know in Dallas. I bet. A lot. Reminds me a lot of guys I know. On the show. Yeah. Really? Really? Really? Ladies and gentlemen, you can call us at 570-1949. Or you can text messages, 949mikey at gmail.com. Going to Dubai. That was great. He's going to Dubai. Well, he's taking his jet skis there. To Dubai. How's he going to get him? You load him into cargo. He's a jet. He's a jet. He's got a G5. He's got a G5. You load it in there. You fly it to Dubai with your bros. With your bros. With Bryce.
With your 21-year-old girlfriend. 18, 19. Yeah. What's wrong with that? That's why he has a MySpace. Who has MySpace? With his shirt off at Fiesta Island. Holding a clear cup with golden beer in it. Right? Amber Locker. And a trucker hat on turned to the side. Yeah, it says Von Dutch on it. With his nipples pierced. With his nipples pierced. Aviators. His armor on two girls that he couldn't name. No way. The guy's a clown. He's a clown. Hill just walked in. Hi, Hillary. Hillary, what do you got coming up today? What are you doing? It's empty. I'm sorry. I just had that kind the other day. You had guava kombucha? Guava, and it's good. It's good. It's good. That's an oxymoron. I totally am on the kombucha party train. Yes. All aboard. Good is a relative term. It's a relative term. It's good. It's good for your guts. Hey, can we talk about Coachella real quick? Yeah. I'm really nervous. Why? Because I'm...
To have an air shift. Oh, yeah, but you were doing it with Garrett, right? I'll be here with Garrett. Yeah. Garrett, will you please tell me, like, fill me in on some of these bands and stuff? Oh, yeah, you got to do your research. Oh, I'll do my research. I want to tell you who you're going to get to. I already know. Oh, okay. Do you know who you have? I have, yeah, a preliminary list. I read mine this morning, The Dead Weather. Nice. Jack White, we interviewed him at Street Scene. He's very smart. But he's very cool. Garrett said he talked to Jack White about Detroit. Okay. Imagine that. Perfect. Yeah. You'll be fine, Woodsy. Will I? Yeah. You're going to do good. Will I? I think you will. I'm about to vomit. I know you're nervous, but I think you'll do really well. It's only like the coolest thing that's ever happened in my life. You know what might be funny is you get there and you're totally jazzed to do this interview and then you forget that you're on the radio and you're just like looking at him, you know? He's swearing. I've been having nightmares about me just sitting there and them going, Who's this idiot with the microphone? You're going to see it's not that bad. No, I love it. And they're used to it. Yeah, usually, you know, 90 percent of bands are good at you. And I were talking about this the other day with the band. Yeah. But most bands are good at it because they do it so much and they realize they know what it's all about. So they'll you'll you'll do just fine. Just prepare. I'll prepare. Yeah.
Like an idiot. Yeah, he'll be prepared. It'd be good. He'll be like, you're so effing cool. Yeah. I hope they have a delay out there with Woods. Woods, there's no delay, pal. Scott Shannon said it doesn't translate. It's not good for Coachella. I'm scared. I tell you. I mean, it's not scared. It's uber excited. When I read the people and I literally jumped out of bed and was like, I texted Jay last night. It was giddy. Oh, what do you got? All kinds of good stuff. Speaking of Coachella, Edward Sharp. I'll play some Muse and Gorillaz. And The Clash, of course. Oh, yeah. The new Gorillaz song I'm going to play is the one with De La Soul. Super Fast Jellyfish. It's such a fun song. Good stuff. Bubbling Townford Hillary is up next. We will see you tomorrow morning at 6 o'clock. The Mikey Show is out late. A Lincoln Financial Media Station. Mikey in the morning. About the music all day and night. Up 94.9. It's about... the music.
