The show opened with Mikey welcoming back co‑hosts Lauren O'Brien, Woodsy, Sienna, and Jay, who traded stories about their Hawaii vacations and the quirky pigeon slang they picked up. Mikey then teased the upcoming OSI (Operation Street Impact) event, revealed the pico de gallo word‑of‑the‑day prize, and showed off an underwater camera and a Rubik's Cube he bought in Hawaii. Later segments featured Sienna’s baby‑doula experience, Woodsy’s Coachella bike mishap and police encounter, a viral animal‑impressions game that had the hosts mimicking creatures, and a clip of Arnold Schwarzenegger defending his pardon of Esteban Núñez. Throughout, the hosts debated the merits of their vacation adventures, the appropriateness of Schwarzenegger’s decision, and the excitement surrounding the OSI giveaway.

After taking a week of vacation time. I feel so good to be back. And I feel nice and refreshed. I feel like I've gotten all the rest that I needed. And I'm ready. I'm ready to go. And it is a huge day on The Mikey Show. Today is a huge day on The Mikey Show. Because at 7.30, we are going to tell you. What OSI is. We have something called OSI. And, you know, besides Mikey-thon, it's about the biggest thing that we've done. And so we're going to be telling you all about it. It's coming up in just a bit. You can call us right now. 570-1949. Love to hear from you. Or text 949Mikey at gmail.com. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show.
And Woodsy is wearing his Kings of Leon shirt. Yeah. Right now. Fresh from Coachella. Yes, sir. He's sitting right across from me. He's 35 years old. He's our sports guy. And we're going to hear all about it. And then also, Lauren O'Brien, who was in Hawaii over break. I was in Hawaii over break. Aloha. Aloha. And we both came back with real fresh tans. I came back learning a little bit of pigeon. Pigeon? Oh yeah, I heard about pigeon. Pigeon is local talk, isn't it? Yeah. Pigeon is local Hawaiian talk. Like, hey, bruh. And of course, L.O.B. dove right into the culture and wanted to immerse herself. Matt was trying to use it on the island. I was like, you're embarrassing me. Yesterday when we got back in Encinitas, I was like, oh, me nita. Whatever. Please don't never do it again. Whatever. Oh, my gosh. I will never do that again. I'm mortified right now. I'm mortified. I'm mortified.
My skin's gross. I have minus two. Whatever. That's a dad move. That is a dad move. Sienna is our news girl. She's 26. And I can't wait to hear about her recap and what she spent our vacation time doing. Pretty much the worst vacation ever. Oh, my God. Oh, my gosh. So we'll tell you all about that. Jay looks great, man. Jay has grown a beard in. And it looks good. Weird. I like it, man. It looks healthy. Yeah. Jay is 47. He's our producer. And our phone screen is Kraut. It's Kraut. On the line right now is M1, Nubian Prince. Hello, baby. Good morning. Good morning. How are you? I'm, like, seriously, I'm super stoked. First about the news, but then to hear about you guys' vacations, I'm like...
I'm, like, all juiced this morning. Oh, yeah. Nice. We got so much stuff to tell you. We have so much to go through. Hey, for real, I can tell you, Cindy, I missed you guys. Oh, man. Oh, thank you. I missed being on the air, and everybody missed being on the air. I'm so glad to be back. You guys, tell me more about Hawaii, because I've never been, and I'm trying to go on vacation, because my brother needs a break, man. Yeah, dude. So, hey, you guys have a great morning. I love you guys. Love you. Love you. Love you, pal. Especially me. Yeah! Okay, so again, we're going to fill you in on OSI at 7.30. People ever get fired up about OSI on the Facebook page? You've been teasing them. We were stoking the fire. Stoking the fire. They want to know, man. You'll know at 7.30. The word of the day today is pico de gallo. Starting with a bang. That's right. Pico de Gallo. Pico. Say it. I can't even. Pico de Gallo. Pico de Gallo. Pico de Gallo. Oh, wow. Oh, boy. Yes, I'm Mexican. And when you hear me say the word Pico de Gallo, between now and 10 o'clock, Caller 9 will win. Oh, wow. What did he say? I don't.
I don't even speak Spanish. That's how ridiculous it is. You know what Pico de Gallo is. You sure do. You know, I think I know what Pico de Gallo is. What? Seriously, you know what it is. What is it? I believe that Pico de Gallo is salsa. It's salsa, but it doesn't have any liquid. It's just chopped up vegetables. Yeah, it's tomato, onion, cilantro. It's delicious. Right. Lime. It's good. It is good. It's so good. It's good, but I never go to it. I'll let everybody else eat that. I don't eat it. You like the hot pour-it-on stuff. Yes, yes, I do. So here's what you get. You get, for the word of the day, two-hour surf lesson from... It's a two-hour surf lesson for two. From Dawn Patrol Surf in Encinitas. And it's all ages, all skill levels. It's worth $150, which is nice. Also...
A pair of tickets to see Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow together. Oh, wow. Wow. At Cricket Wireless on August 2nd. So word of the day is worth a lot today. I am so excited about OSI. Yeah, me too. People are freaking out. I know. It's cool. It's cool, and we're going to roll it out for you at 730. So vacations were, you know, they were great. I did not get to hear any of Lou Bush filling in for me for the last two days of the week before last. He did a great job. Yeah. So you didn't hear the news then? What? We've got Bush. But we have a new show. Oh, yeah. It's going to be Lou. Sienna is going to go. Sienna is now going to go by Rain. Yeah. I'm going to be Texas Steve. Okay. L-O-B is going to go by Sarah. And Jay is going to call himself Edward. Okay, good. That's the new bit. I'm going to spin him out first thing in the morning. I've been sitting on that for about a week. Just ignore it, Mike. Welcome back. I just figured out what was happening. Nice to be back and everything. I'm just kidding. It was fun with Lou, but it ain't the same. It ain't the same. Love you, Lou. By that, you mean we liked Lou better.
No. No. We had to do some hand-holding. He did? Yeah. We liked him differently. We liked him differently. That's a nice one. LLB liked him the most of all, obviously. Yeah, she did. It was a nice view. Yeah. He's a good dude. Yeah, sign me up for that. He's a great dude. And he got, like, by Friday, he was totally comfortable. Yeah. And he was in it? Yeah. It was fun. It was fun. I snorkeled a lot. I can't believe that. I'm so proud of you. No, you were a snorkeler. I didn't either. Are you into it now? Uh, no. No? No. You wouldn't do it here? No. Oh, there's no way. Did you wear a wetsuit? You can't do it here. You can't. Yeah, you go down a little wetsuit. They got an ocean here, right? Yeah, but there's nothing, there's no like. Oh, you're out of your mind. There's not any like crystal clear coral reefs to look at here. Maybe not coral reefs. Come with me, young man. Where? You go to La Jolla. There's caves. The La Jolla Caves. That's cool. No, no wet soup needed because it's warm water. That's the only thing. It's warm water. Got stung by a sea urchin. Ah, man. Good times. Yeah, so vacationed with CB and his wife Amy. And we go down there and they have these flags. You guys probably know about this, but they have a flag.
that'll tell you if you can get in the water or not. If it's a red flag, don't get in there, right? And then they have yellow flag, which means it's all good to go. They've got yellow over red, that kind of deal, right? Well, when it's a red flag, they won't let you rent the snorkel gear. And so CB says, well, what if we go up to where they rent out the paddle boards and see if they have them up there? And I said, well... Why is it red? Why do they not want us out there? Breaking the rules. You know? Because I want to know why they don't want us out there. And so we go talk to one of these lifeguard guys that works at the resort. And he's a local. And CB says, so what's the deal with the red flag? And he goes, oh, the water is real murky. And you don't want to go in the water. When it's murky. And he goes, CB goes, is that for just the locals that you, he goes, is that for the tourists that you tell that or is that for the locals too? He goes, well, we actually, we actually call it sharky when it's murky like that because, and CB goes, yeah, but I don't imagine that there's shark attacks here. And he goes, no, we've had it. He goes, in fact, the guy was really smart. He yelled out help instead of shark. We wouldn't have gone in if he had said shark.
CB says, how bad was it? He said, tore him from his ankle up to his kneecap. Why'd you do that? You're peer pressured. That was peer pressured. Big time. You can talk him into doing anything. Pretty much, yeah. And CB can talk him into anything. It's a true fact. It's a true fact. Mike, stand up for yourself. No. No. He didn't want to look like a Sally. No. You'd rather get attacked by a jerk. I mean, okay. I know. I'd rather get attacked by a jerk. Oh, my gosh. So I go in the water. It's so murky. Murky is the scariest word ever. There's no visibility. And sharks get confused when it's murky. That's why they attack. Oh. Not only that, but their favorite food is turtle. Mexican. Yeah, brown Mexican turtle. Yeah. Favorite food is turtle, and that's what we were in there looking at. Dude. Or paranoid. Well, that's not true.
That was murky then too. I would say that 2010 I was pretty paranoid. It was really scary. Were you like doing the thing where you're like, yeah, yeah, this is fun. I'm having so much fun. Should we go get lunch or? No one water. Did you ever forget about it or were you aware of it the whole time? The entire time. You two were the only two in the water. In the water. I've done that on a surfboard one time. One time. And I looked around and there was nobody for miles and miles and miles. And I went, nope, I'm not going to do this anymore. Paddled in, called it. It's petrifying. It's petrifying. Because it's so big out there. Yeah, and the guy says, you know, because CB goes, isn't it just a little reef shark? He goes, no, it's a tiger. You're a lunatic. Tiger shark. I'm like disappointed in you right now. I'm like, why would you go in? You have a family. You have a family. That's selfish. Come on. I thought to myself.
Surely he can't take me into shark-infested water if it's really shark-infested. Right. You know, the odds are so low. The odds are so low. They play in your favor. They play in my favor. Matt and I went out to a spot in Kauai called Tunnels, which is where the professional surfer Bethany Hamilton got her arm bit off by a shark. Are you serious? Yeah. And we went and we were swimming with three or four. sea turtles and there was a point where it got like really deep right where after we saw them and I was like we gotta get out of here and then Matt cut himself on the reef and I was like oh my gosh oh my gosh yeah I was just flailing all because I was trying not to hit the reef either and it started to get shallow and so I was flailing all about to get myself off the reef you're flailing like a turtle yeah and I was like oh my gosh Wouldn't give it anything to see that. Her screaming the whole time. People on the beach definitely were looking at us like, what are those two doing? I paddleboarded. What? Good for you. You didn't tell me that. That is fun. Is it awful? It's the best. Is it awful? Well, it's not exactly true. I mean, if my wife were on the air with me right now, she would say, did you? Yeah.
It's hard. Kind of like I surf. It's really hard the first time to stand up. For a few times, it's hard to stand up. But once you get up and you're there, it's easier. Rebecca never touched the water. I bet. Really? Yeah, first time paddleboarding. She never touched the water. Her and CB's wife, Amy, stood right up on the paddleboards and they were fine. Wow. Me and CB, not once. Not once. Every time we tried to stand up. Every... I bet your wives were loving that. We fell in the water. Dude, I'm so proud of you, though, for going out there and doing that, not sitting in your hotel room. Adventure Mike. Yeah, it was Adventure Mike. Mikey Grylls, man. I was outside every single... Wow, good for you. Do you feel like... Do you feel like... Because you've done the other vacation where you really never left the room. You played on your laptop. Do you feel better about this vacation? Yeah. And this might be the new thing? I will snorkel once a year on vacation. Cool. I won't do it normally. Right. The difference was CB, right? He had somebody to play with. Yeah. I mean, if he hadn't been there, I wouldn't have done it. He is a force to be reckoned with. Yeah. And I wouldn't have done it. But I liked it. And so even when he left before we did, and I still went. That's killer. I still went. And I took pictures and put them on Facebook and stuff. And, you know, I might have ordered stuff on Amazon while I was there. It was delivered to the hotel in Hawaii. Oh, my. What kind of stuff?
Oh. I got an underwater camera. It was one of the things I got. How many cameras does it got near you? Is that part of your allowance? Are you an amateur photographer now? Quiver of cameras. Quiver of cameras. They have like those disposable underwater ones. Yeah, you just get those at the gift shop. Like in the lobby. Yeah, you don't have to go. 12 bucks or so. Yeah. You can just put a case over your existing camera and make it underwater. You guys ever just give me a hard time? Welcome back. Beautiful photographs, though. They were, actually. They were. They were really nice. I also ordered a Rubik's Cube. What? Sorry, I thought you said a Rubik's Cube. I thought he said a Rubik's Cube, too. That's what I thought he said. But then I realized. I was like, wait, is it 87 or it's 2011, right? Wait, is he 40 or is he 6? Like, that got me to a place that I didn't think I could go to, Mike. I looked at her immediately. I looked at Sienna immediately, and she looked at me like I was a baby panda. Like, oh, look at that curious creature. Question.
New Rubik's Cube? No, a used one was. No, there's different. They have an electric one now. No, it was regular. You got the old school. Yes. You just got a hankering for one? Did you see it from sort of commercial? We were at dinner and the Rubik's Cube came up. At the Tommy Bahama restaurant? Oh, yes. I can't believe it took us 19 minutes. Did you go to the Tommy Bahama restaurant? No. Yes, you did. No, we didn't. Mike. I promise. I don't like it. Rebecca does. And you didn't take her? No, she didn't ask. She didn't. How much TV stuff did you come home with? How many bags? Seven? I don't wear Tommy Bahama. Eight bags? I don't wear it. You brought eight bags home. Nine. Twelve bags? I don't wear Tommy Bahama. Then why does your flowered lei have a TV tag on it? You were getting hammered. I know. I didn't know that Tommy Bahama sold shells with an inscription that said TV, but sure enough, it's a conch shell right on your desk. I hate you and I love you. That's so great. So the Rubik's Cube, you got a hankering for while you were at dinner. It came up and I was like, you know, I want to figure out how to do that. I never did that. I must have that now. I kind of have it.
When Rebecca saw me open an Amazon box in Hawaii and pull out a Rubik's Cube, she had to think, like, she had to go, I'm married to a psychopath. I want a divorce. Yeah. Like, he should get tested. Like, they should put him in a beaker and test him. In Vienna with all, like, the big psychiatrists. You should have a reality show. Oh, yeah. I want to see Rebecca's. Reactions. Oh, yeah. I remember what was happening. She was putting on sunscreen. Oh, my God. And I wanted to get it out. I wanted to get it out so that she didn't see the Amazon box. Right. Because that's bad enough to order something off of Amazon in your hotel room in Hawaii. Because she sees those at home. Yeah. And I knew when she saw it in Hawaii, she would think, he's really weird. Because I am. You know, that is weird. There's no doubt about it. There's no hiding it. Did you do the Rubik's Cube when you were there? Once. And where is it now? Last time I saw it, it was... Which is so ridiculous. It was in our... At our house, on our bathtub. I don't know why. Probably Luke got it or something. That's all the stickers are just going to get peeled off. Did you get the super Rubik's Cube that has like bearings and everything? Okay. The six. Standard. Standard.
I did it one time. For how long? I got really frustrated. Three minutes. It's the worst. Three minutes. It's the worst. I got really frustrated, and I won't ever touch that again. Did Rebecca do puzzles? The shipping and handling cost more than the items. Oh, wow. Oh, boy. And I got mad at Matt for just checking his Facebook while we were there. I know. LLB does not. She's gone. She goes. I was like, put down your phone. I kept getting so mad. If I had been with him and he had opened a box from Amazon, I would have been like, I'm done. I said, too, before we came on the air today, I go, how has there not been a movie about someone like Woods or me dating somebody like L.O.B.? And they go to Hawaii and she wants to hike 12 miles. And he's like... But he pretends that he's been on it. Oh, there's no pretending at that point. You just die. Oh, I can only imagine what L.O.B. would think had an Amazon box coming. I was getting so mad when he... I was like, what are you doing over there? Over there, McPhones a lot? McPhones a lot. Because I was disconnected. That's just how I have to be. I could have sent you a letter by Mule.
There was mules where we were that you could put a letter. You could just address it and send it by mule. What? Because you was in the Grand Canyon. I was in the Grand Canyon. They had mules that would carry out the mail. Oh. I thought he just randomly said that. So did I. Yeah, it was like, all right, good one. Thank you. It was a real deal. Good morning. I got to send a carrier pigeon. Yeah. I like St. Bernard's. I once tried karaoke. Did you guys see Jace? pictures of the Grand Canyon when it was snowing like mad. It was ridiculous. He slept in that? Actually, we ended up getting a cabin. I couldn't talk Kim into it. It was negative 16 degrees or some craziness. And you tried, though, didn't you? I wanted to, yeah. I wanted to. She was having nothing to do. It was a foot of snow when we got there. Oh, my gosh. Why would you do that? Sometimes I was the best. He brought his child with him. Oh, Jasper loved it. Negative 16. Well, I don't know if it was negative 16. I may have made that up. 16. What'd you do out there? We hiked. We hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Just freezing cold. Just freezing. Had to buy a backpack. Woods is pretending to put a gun in his mouth and pull the trigger. No, I don't know if you bring dogs. I would have. But yeah, we hiked to the bottom. Like a seven mile trail down to the bottom. Sounds fun. Put all our stuff on. Carried all our gear. And then slept there. And then hiked back out the next day. 10 miles out. With an 8 year old. 10 miles. Did Kim do that? Oh yeah. We ate beef for the first time. You probably ate a cow. Like an actual cow. You just...
attacked it and ate it? We just, because last minute we got this. Jumped on its back and started gnawing on it? I knifed it. I knifed a cow. Yeah. No, it was just like the sausage that they sold down there because there was nothing to eat. You know, we were pretty much out of food. No Mickey D's down there, huh? There's nothing. That's too bad. You hiked to the bottom of the canyon? Hiked to the bottom of the canyon and slept there overnight and then we had signed up for this food thing they do. It's like a pack, a slack lunch or something they have down at the bottom and it had nothing in it but peanut butter and jelly. So, and it's like beef stick. And we looked at each other and we're like, we're eating beef stick. Oh, wow. You have to. How long has it been? 23 years. Jasper's never eaten beef. Did he like it? He ate it like he was going to eat my arm if I didn't move it away from his face. It was insane. Is it like jerky? It was like a sausage. Like a Slim Jim. No, it was big. It was like that big around. And we... Ate so much. He didn't get sick at all. I think our bodies were just so thankful for food. Today, by the way, when we come back, I've got to hear about Sienna's thing. I can't wait to hear about Sienna's thing. We've got to hear about Woods. We've just got to talk more about what we did on our vacation.
File extension for taxes? Yeah, today is tax day. So you have until midnight tonight. And the reason it is is because on Friday it was Emancipation Day. So in D.C. all those offices were closed. So you have until midnight tonight. You can get all your taxes in the mail today and they'll be postmarked and you'll be good to go. But midnight tonight, get them in. Don't forget, 7.30, about an hour from now, we're going to be making a big, big announcement. It's called OSI. And we're going to tell you all about it, what it is, what it's going to encompass. And it's going to be great. New food, brother. Did you get it? Not yet. This is called Arlandria. It's so good. Hey, remember the house mom on Facts of Life? Mrs. Garrett? Mrs. Garrett. Yeah. Mrs. Garrett. Mrs. Garrett. Garrett! Well, she was on the TV Land Awards and said something that may have upset people. And I'm curious. Is she saying what you think she's saying? You be the judge. We'll do that. We'll recap what happened on vacation. We'll do all that stuff. Don't go away. Mikey Show's back. 570-1949. Or text 949mikey at gmail.com. How did you morons even get in here? scattered throughout the house. La Jolla is my favorite bubble. I don't want to live anywhere else. My kids' friends are always afraid of me. What did Mrs. Garrett from Facts of Life, what did she say that was a little bit controversial? We'll be telling you what OSI is at 7.30. So make sure you're listening at 7.30. I just said to everyone off the air, I go, what if people are like, that's not that cool. Like, I think it's the coolest thing ever. No matter what we say, even if it's like, Mikey's the president. People will still say it's not that cool. Some people will be like, oh, great. But other people will be really stoked.
Some people have an idea in their head, and when you say what's different than what they're expecting, they'll go, eh. But then they'll come around. It's going to be huge. It's going to be massive. To me, it looked like a leprechaun to me, but in addition to that, it's really great. It is great. Word of the day is pico de gallo. So when you hear me say that between now and 10, caller number 9. Shouldn't be too hard. Amazing. You haven't said it yet. That's true. You said it like four times during the break. I know. Lucky the mics weren't on. No kidding. When you hear me say that, you've got to be caller nine and you will get a two-hour surf lesson for two from Don Patrol Surf in Encinitas. You'll also get a pair of tickets to see Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow August 2nd at... Cricket. Wireless. So pretty cool stuff. All right. What did Mrs. Garrett? I missed your Garrett. What did she say about her, you know, former castmates that drew a little bit of controversy? Listen. I tell you, I'm so proud of my girls. They all turned out to be straight. Straight. Oh, wow. Did you? Now, what do you do you take that to mean? Yes. What she.
What I think heterosexual heterosexual. Well, you're not the only ones that thought that because Meredith Baxter, who used to be known as Meredith Baxter, Bernie, who was the mom on family, family ties. She has come out as being gay. Yep. And she was also there that night at the awards and had this to say. We enjoyed each other so much. There was a lot of love and respect among us, and I think that's what everyone seemed to see on the screen when they watched the show. And although we didn't all come out as straight as apparently the Facts of Life cast, but we're doing pretty well. Thanks. A little bit tense his head. Makes me tense. A little nerve-wracking. Mrs. Garrett is really old. Maybe she meant straight as like... They followed the straight and narrow. That's what I got out of it. Straight and narrow. I thought that for a second. I hope that. But then I thought, you know, I think that Mrs. is trying to say something more. Mrs. who? Mrs. she, as you know, you know, is very, you know, unspoken, I guess. Hey, look, she misses. I'm not going to try.
Try to argue with her. With who? And by the way, I don't know that what she's saying is true because I remember Joe on Facts of Life. And I was pretty sure Joe, maybe, you know, she wanted to know what was going on with Blair. I was all the way in on Blair. Who was it? I was all the way in on Blair. Jay was in on Mrs. Garrett. She's a handsome woman. Good looking lady. Who did you like then if you didn't like Blair? None of them. Natalie. You're into Natalie. What oh? Why are you saying oh? What oh? Because Woods is laughing when you say Natalie. Never seen the show. Just going to laugh and pretend like I know what you're talking about. Well, you take the good and you take the bad. You take the bad. And then you take them both. There you have it. Okay. Facts of life. All right. Facts of life. Facts of life. Oh, I love Blair. I love Blair. Blair's a cute girl name. Yeah. She was not cute. She was thick. Oh. No, Natalie was thick. Let me tell you something. They were all. There are women that want to slit your throat right now for saying that Blair was thick.
She was not thick at all. I'm not saying she was fat. She was thick. She has a preference. We didn't say fat. You said fat. Why did you call Blair fat? Your t-shirt says Blair is a fat thing. Why are you wearing a t-shirt that says Blair is a fat thing? He's like, no, it says Blair is a flat. Flat. Yeah, she wasn't flat. His hat says Blair. How about a diet? Yeah, seriously. This is easy, chubs. Oh, my gosh. Yes, Facts of Life was about boarding school. It was a sitcom. It was a boarding school. And it was an all-girls boarding school. Mrs. Gary was there. She was there. Like, house mom. She was a beating. And guys... I thought she was nice. Apparently watched the show? We loved it. No. Yeah, because it was a bunch of girls, young girls, you know. And there was a black girl named Tootie. There was a girl that was overweight, and I think she had braces. Natalie. That was Natalie. Poor Natalie. And it was kind of like, oh, poor Natalie. And then there was Blair, who was the rich girl, and she was really attractive and blonde. Okay. And then there was Joe.
And Joe was from New York. And she was sort of. How you doing? She was a mechanic. She was a tomboy. And she liked motorcycles. She would work. I liked her the most. Weird. Weird. Weird. Of course you did. But anyway, so that's what she said. I really think she meant. Because a lot of the different strokes people and everything. They all ended up on drugs and stuff like that. I think she meant. I'm sure that's what she meant. I'm sure it is not. I'm sure it's not at all. Straight! Straight! Yeah, because she yelled it like a hundred times. I tell you, I'm so proud of my girls. They all turned out to be straight! Straight! Not lesbian! No! Straight, luckily I'm wrong. Not gay! They don't! I'm very proud of all my girls! Who are not lesbos or they're not gay or anything. Bicurious. They're not butch. They're not butch. They're not bicurious. They don't play softball. Or professional golf or tennis. They're not part of the WNBA. None of them. Thankfully. Thankfully. And I love them for having children. They love men. We've got.
Oh, well. Welcome back. Oh, boy. Oh, man. That's Jay. So, Sienna did not have the vacation. The rest of you did. The rest of us did. But it's okay because this is something that needed to be done. Her daughter, Thage, is Thage. That's my Thage. Sage is six months old now. Seven months. Almost eight. Crazy. So she had been spoiled because with my hours, I've been, you know, sleep is very important to me. So I've been caving in and letting her sleep in the bed with us. And it's just been a nightmare. And she wakes up constantly. So finally, I called in for backup. I called a baby doula. Oh, wow. A baby doula? Aaron Taylor, who came in here at the end of the show on Friday, said, you need to call this woman. Her name is Davis, and she's amazing. And so I was like, whatever needs to be done will be done because I need someone to whip me into shape because I can't say no to that baby. It's awful. What she's trying to do is wean Sagey.
Out of the bed, away from me, into the crib. And sleeping all night. Yes. And so this woman comes over on Friday night, our very first night of vacation, because I wasn't going to mess around. She comes over, she's there for two hours, and she's like, okay, let me see the baby, let me see where the baby sleeps. We go into Sage's room, and she takes down the baby mobile, and she says, these are not... These shouldn't be over any baby's beds. If baby makers of these types of things were smart, they would put them over the changing table because that's where they need distraction. How would you feel? She said, think about it. If you were Sage, how would you feel if something was dangling over your head? She's got a point. You want the baby to fall asleep. That's going to stimulate the baby and keep the baby awake. So we immediately took that down. She's like, okay, Sienna Todd, kiss Sage, put her in the bed. And I'm like, what do you mean? Yeah. Just like kiss her, put her in there. She's like, yeah. So we did and we put her in there and she's like, okay, we got to go. We walked out and she says, okay, you won't see her till 6 a.m. And I was like, this was at 6 p.m. And I was immediately burst into tears. I mean, immediate. I was like, what if she cries? Oh my gosh. I have to go. And she's like, she's going to be fine. You know, she's like, it's one thing if she was like three months old, you know, when you were doing this, which a lot of parents do. But Sage is big. She can roll around now. She can get herself comfortable. Question. What is the role of a doula?
Well, there's different roles. She was trained. She could be in there helping you during childbirth because she's trained in all of that. She can help with getting the baby to sleep, getting the baby to eat more, getting your kid, your toddler potty trained. She's good at all of this. She's like the baby whisperer. Yeah, baby stuff. Yeah, not cheap, but I didn't care because I needed to sleep again. And so she said, you know, right now Sage is in boot camp and she's going to cry and it's going to get better though. Sometimes it gets worse, but then it will get better. Little soldier. Yeah, she's running like six miles a day. Oh, my gosh. My poor husband has been dealing with psychotic Sienna. She's crying. I had to leave the house a bunch of times because I couldn't hear it. Oh, wow. It was so hard. But we have this little video monitor that we could go and check on her. Thank God for those video monitors. So it kind of put me at ease a little bit. But now, like as of last night, put her down at 6 p.m., which seems so crazy to me still, but I'm doing it. Same time as Mikey goes to bed, though. Yeah, same time. 6 p.m., she goes in there, and she's tired. Like, we have her on the same time she eats, same time nap. So she is getting her routine now. Wow. Didn't wake up. I heard her around 1, and she was like, eh, like kind of talking to herself. Went right back to bed. I heard her do it again at 3 really quickly. Went right back to bed. No crying.
texted me and said he woke her up after six because he had to get Jenna ready for school. So, I mean... It's working. It's done. It's a lot of sleep. It's a lot of sleep. But she said that babies that age need like 15 hours of sleep a day. And most babies... So do 40-year-olds. Yeah. I invited Sienna over for a barbecue on... What was that? I invited you too, Olivia. Like Saturday, the first Saturday vacation. Santa's like, I can't. We're on this rigid schedule. We can't do anything different. I was like, okay. Yeah, it's strict right now, but she'll get it, you know. But, oh, I feel so much better. Rebecca is a, my wife, Rebecca, is a big proponent of schedule. Yeah. Everything is very regimented. It's important. Yeah. It's good for the kid. I never thought I would be able to let her cry. And some people are going to be like, you're a monster that you did that. But I tried everything. And it's better for Sage because now she's not exhausted. And she's learned to self-soothe, which is so important. Well, that's great. I'm glad that happened. That was my relaxing vacation. I have to know about Woods. Woods says, I have a funny story.
about all of us getting pulled over by a cop coming back from the venue at Coachella. The cop was yelling at Garrett. What? Nothing happened, but it was pretty hysterical after it was over. Garrett's our program director. He was yelling at us? Yes. Garrett can do no wrong. I know. All right, so I'll lay this out for you. We go to the venue. Me, Jay, Jamie, and Kim go together. Now, in the house that we were staying in, there were two bikes. So, Jay, actually, Jay rented a bike, of course, a two-seater for he and Kim. They're on the same bike. Oh, wow. The two-seater. Oh, boy. Jamie and I each have our own tandem. Yeah, tandem. Of course. Yeah, of course he did. Of course they are. Jamie and I used the house bikes. My bike was a mountain bike. It had one gear. First gear. I had Mr. help or Mr. Fix It, try to fix it. He couldn't. It stayed in first gear unless you held your thumb all the way in. Then it would go into second. Now, first gear, for those of you that don't know, is where it spins really fast. First gear is for when you're in the Pyrenees Mountains and you're riding your bike. Not when you're riding in the middle of the desert. It's 170 degrees. That's not when you use first gear. Why did you guys...
It's the desert. It's hot. It's hot. Why don't you guys take a bike there? Because you don't want to drive. The traffic is murder. What about a cab? Cabs won't even come get you to take you. It's traffic. There's traffic. Really? Most people walk. The bike is the best way to go if you have a bike that you're accustomed to. And then do they have a bunch of places to park and block your bike? Yeah, you park and lock it up. Yeah, you lock it up. After the experience of getting to the venue, I was dying. I mean, I picked it up. I threw it down at one point. A couple times. A couple times. Oh, wow. We locked it up. We went to the show. It was amazing. So Hillary and Jeremy, her husband, Garrett was there. Jamie. Hillary is our midday gal. Correct. Yeah. And then Hillary didn't drink anything. She's like, I'll drive you guys home. We're like, yes. So we get in this pickup truck. And we all decide, hey, it'll be fun to ride in the back of the pickup truck like when you were a kid. Right. Well, we start driving. Who's back there? It's me, Jamie, Garrett, and Jeremy, maybe? Jeremy works here, too.
We are laying in the truck and we're having a good old time. And then cops are seeing, like, you can't be back there. So we would lay down like illegal aliens in the back of the truck. Right. All you could see was my white knees sticking up out of the truck. Right, right, right. So a cop sees us, pulls us over. Yeah. Oh, no. Comes up to the truck with his gun drawn. Oh, boy. His gun was drawn. We were like. A little overdramatic. Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait. Uh-huh. What gets a cop to draw his weapon? No idea. Kneecaps. He's kneecaps. Jay's got to look. Jay, Jay, Jay, what happened? I wasn't there. I've just heard stories. What happened? What happened, Jay? Somebody might have been screaming things out of the back of the truck. It wasn't me. It was all of us. We all were. We were yelling. Speak the truth. I am. I'll tell you. I can't say on the air. Why are you screaming things? I can't say on the air what. He's writing down what he screamed. What we were screaming. To the cops. No, just to each other. We didn't know there were cops there because we were kind of laying down. So we see the cop light start flashing. An inappropriate phrase is what he was yelling. Don't look at him, Woods. Don't look at me. Jay, what happened? Woods. Don't look at him. All I heard is that somebody in the truck was screaming louder than the rest. It wasn't just me.
It wasn't. No, no. It definitely was not just him. No, it wasn't. But his volume level was. Well, you know me. I'm loud. Yeah. So, anyway. The cop. So, the cop pulls us over. We weren't yelling. 100% it was worse. We weren't yelling anything. The whole thing. Listen. Like, I need to even think about it. So, listen. We weren't yelling anything when he pulled us over. So, Hillary is, like, flipping out, obviously. Because we're in the back of her husband's truck. You drinking iced tea? A couple iced teas. Long Island. Kool-Aids. Cop. comes up, guns drawn, and we stand up and we're like, whoa, easy, easy. And we weren't yelling it or anything at that point. And he goes, get out of the truck. So we all get out. We're standing there. And I first move I did, I put my hands in my pockets. He goes, get your hands out of your pockets. I go, yes, sir. He tells Garrett the same thing. Garrett continues to put his hands in his pocket. He forgets. He forgets. He forgets. And he puts his hands back in his pocket. I said, take your hands out of your pocket. Okay. Right back in the pocket. Take your hands out of your pocket. Like three times. Oh, no. So finally he goes, all right, you guys are. He looked at Hillary and she hadn't been drinking or anything. And he goes, you go ahead. You guys go ahead. He goes, you four are walking. It was like 15 feet to our house. We're like, yes, sir. So he walked the rest of the way home. But, dude, Hillary was spun. Like she was spun out. I feel that there's things that I still don't know. There's no missions. That's it.
There's big omissions. Why would he come? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what sounds normal? Sounds like cops pull people over because they're riding in the back of a truck with a gun drawn. That sounds totally normal. Well, you got to think. There's 100,000 people there. Yeah, he was burned out. I think this cop had just had it. There was 100,000 people there, and everybody is just a wreck. And there's cars everywhere. And you see a bunch of people in the back of a truck. Pull you over. You're not allowed to do that. And everybody said that Woods and everybody else was really well behaved. Oh, yeah. I told you. When the cop came, I was like, yes, sir. Sorry. Jamie said she was just like, all you kept doing was apologizing. I was like, I know. I was sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Don't worry, Mike. He was under control. Oh, yeah. It was great. Garrett was the one that got in trouble. When you tell these stories, you know you're like telling them to your dad, Mike, over here. That's okay. Who gets real worried. No, there's nothing to worry about. Part of his team getting in any trouble. I didn't. I didn't get in trouble. He doesn't want any run-ins. You have cops around. It wasn't me. I wasn't driving. Cops are drawn to woods. No, I was in the back of a truck. It's like a moth to a flame. Yes. And that's why I was riding a bike. It's a lot safer. I couldn't do. You can still get in trouble. I couldn't do the bike ride back. I go, I can't do it. Jay had to go get my bike the next day. Yeah. Why did Jay have to get it? Jay had to go get it? Jay had to go get it. Why didn't you? Because I didn't want to.
Ken Layton's writing an article about it right now. About time. He likes to write articles, by the way. Yeah, he does. Bring it. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. So you sent Jay by foot to go get the bike? I did not send Jay. I go, I'll pay $500. I don't care. I'll buy a new bike. I did not want to ride that thing one more second. So yeah, so that night I went out there, had to re-chain the bikes up, and rode back to the house. The next day, we had to go back. And it was a mile walk into the venue to get these bikes. But then I wanted to meet up with my son, Finn. So he came back over to the house. He rode it. Yeah, he rode. We rode together. How did Finn do on the bike? It worked perfectly for him. You rode the bicycle built for two on your own? No, no. I had Adam. Oh. Our promotion director rode with you on the tandem bike. No, no, no. He took me in the car. Because I had to ride another bike back. I was going to ride the tandem, but I thought people were going to try to jump on. When I saw Jay come back with those bikes. There are big portions of the story that I don't know the truth. Mikey. Oh, Jay. Jay, there is not. Don't spin him out. Yes, there is. What?
Yes, there is. Yeah, there is. Yes, there is. We should talk about when we got back to the house that night. Oh. What happened? When we had our swim contest? Swim contest. Yeah, we had a swim contest. Underwater swimming contest. He beat the crowd. What does that mean? What kind of things did you... You see how many times you can go back and forth under the water without withholding your breath. And Jay did it like... 17 times. I thought he was going to die. I did it one and a half times. I was like, I can't do it. I can't do it. I can see Jay just perfect. It was so much freaking fun. It's so fun. That sounds like a blast. It was a blast. Coachella is so much fun. You going to go next to your mic? Yeah, you'd love it. A lot of walking, pal. Don't worry, Mike. It's fine. He's here. I didn't do anything. Don't freak him out. No, no, no. You didn't do anything. I mean, there was a cop with a gun drawn. I wasn't driving. No, no. What? Mike gets freaked out, so you're... I will. Okay. Sounds like fun. It was fun. Keeping my mouth shut. Yeah. I didn't do anything. Oh, boy. No, it's coming up at 7.30. Yeah. OSI.
Nice, you know. OSI. We're going to tell you what OSI is at 7.30. Also, we've got more to tell you about Coachella and who got booed off the stage. There was an accident there. Car rammed into a fire hydrant. 15 southbound Rainbow Valley Boulevard. Four to five cars hit a couch here that was in the middle of lanes, but they've moved everybody to the center divider and right shoulder. Traffic pretty heavy right now from the 79. And as you travel on the 15 southbound between the 56 and the 8, it's heavy to 20 miles an hour. This report brought to you by Brandman University. I love boobs, too. I love blue boobs of all sizes. I just don't think they have to be giant or rubbery. On FM 94.9. What OSI is in 25 minutes. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Well, you may want to know about this if you are traveling anytime soon. Terminal 2 parking, the parking lot at Limburg Field. will be closed for up to two years starting today. Two years. Yeah, well, you know that they're doing a big expansion at the airport. So don't worry. They've actually paved over some ground just beyond the terminal parking lot. So there are the same number of spaces for you to park. But just so you know, the Terminal 2 parking lot will be closed.
as of today. That's a long time, two years. I know it is. Well, they're making the airport pretty awesome, so at least that's what they're saying. Also, speaking of the airport, there are new rules have just been issued for the nation's air traffic controllers. Now, we've heard a couple stories now about the guys in the towers that are falling asleep. There was just another story after eight of the air traffic controllers were caught napping on the job, and they have an important job. They tell the planes to land. So the U.S. Transportation Department announced yesterday that controllers Rollers now have a minimum of nine hours off between shifts instead of the current eight-hour minimum. They can no longer be assigned to work a midnight shift following a day off. And managers will also be required to work earlier mornings and later nights to increase coverage. Wow. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? Sports is brought to you today by Frank's Red Hot. Frank's Red Hot. Get some. That's right. Admittedly, I'm not the world's biggest NASCAR fan. However, the... That finish yesterday at Talladega in the Aarons 499 was absolutely incredible. Jimmy Johnson won this race by .002 seconds, which I believe is two hundredths of a second. Got a push from his teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. at the end and won by the smudge. Here he is talking about his win. Cut one.
Been knocking on the door, running the top five last few weeks. We've had a few slip away, but it's nice to get one back, get the team back to victory lane. And I felt like maybe Martinsville would be the place for it. You know, a short track, maybe even Bristol. We were looking so good. Didn't really have my eyes on Talladega, just knowing it's such a crap shoot when you get here. It's a big track, fast track. Yeah, and it was one heck of a finish yesterday. And then also Lawrence Taylor, as you guys know, he pleaded guilty in January to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute. He was declared a low-risk sex offender last Tuesday, meaning there will be no photo of him on public online sex offender registries. Oh, wow. So it's the lowest of the sex offenders he is. Is he? I didn't know that they didn't publish pictures if you were like a low level. Yeah. Did not know that. Now you know. An M1 is somebody that is crazy about the Mikey show. M1 Nation is going to get even bigger. At 7.30, we're going to be telling you all about it. And something we have planned called OSI. An M1 is so rabid about the Mikey show that they will...
ride their 10-speed to Coachella to be like Woods. Yeah, throw it down. Throw it down if it angers them. They will march eight miles down into a canyon to be more like Jay. They'll get stung by a sea urchin just to be more like me. They will literally do whatever they can do to be more like us. And M1 lets it all hang out. It all. That's Jay. Jay's our producer. Not on track with what we're saying. Not necessarily. He's not really good. Exactly. He's right on target. Awesome. Yeah. Poles and planets. Exciting examples. Just really outside the target. Like if you're throwing darts at a board, you're not even going to hit cork. Yeah, you're hitting another galaxy. You're hitting a wall. Bullseye is what it is.
I watched a lot of movies over the break on the airplane. I watched Black Swan. I did, too. On the airplane? On the airplane? Yes, on the airplane. What? On my iPad. Oh, okay. Oh, my gosh. Oh, but it was on the airplane. What they do on the airplane now is they give you these little digi-players that you hold on, you know, and it's got music, and it's got movies to rent. My plane. I was stuck watching some stupid Reese Witherspoon movie. Really? One of the worst movies ever. ever seen. Was she playing softball? Yes. The worst movie ever. Yes. What is it? How do you know it's called? Yeah, something like, I turned it off. So bad. And for me to turn off a Reese Witherspoon movie, it's gotta be bad. It was really convoluted and cheesy. Well, uh. How'd you like Black Swan? You know, I really liked it. I know there was lesbian stuff in it. What'd you think of that? The lesbian scene, it wasn't that bad though. And I knew that that's, everybody was like, you know, dude, you're.
Probably going to freak out at that stuff. And I'm glad I knew that it was going to happen. And I was expecting it. But it was a really good movie. Later, we're going to tell you about that chick that played... Natalie Portman's dance double. Yeah, she's something else. She's running mouth again. She hates Natalie Portman. She hates Natalie Portman. She does. How could you hate her? Well, she feels like she didn't get the credit. You're a stunt double. You're a double. In the description. Quit crying. Quit crying about it. We didn't give an Oscar to Tom Cruise's devil in Mission Impossible. Exactly. We didn't give an Oscar to Tom Cruise either. You know what, though? Hey, listen. Sure about that? That's a good point, though, because, listen. We might as well go into this now. We might as well go, because I think you make a good point, because you've got to hear this chick, okay? Her name. Sarah Lane. Sarah Lane. Oh, it was Sarah Lane. I kind of understand. AKA sour grapes. She signed up to be this body double, but Natalie Portman was...
Like, oh, my gosh, look, she's a professional ballerina in a year and a half. Right. That just doesn't happen. Right. And this girl's like, no, that's me in the scenes. Like, she knows she signed up to be a body double. But Natalie Portman, because she's getting praised over the top, you know, she's like, well, that was me. Why is she getting credit? All right. Well, then let me just take out my pen and paper here. I understand. I'll take some notes. Let's get the rules down. I just want to know how much praise a person is allowed to get. Yeah. it gets to the point where, well, now I need my praise. It's too much praise. Natalie Portman's getting too much praise. So what's the appropriate amount of praise that would not have Sarah Lane saying this? I've been doing this for 22 years. And to say that someone trained for a year and a half and did what I did in 22 years, it's degrading not only to me, but to the entire ballet world. Okay, a couple things then. A, why'd you... Sign up for it. I mean, because you knew that that's what was going to happen. In fact, if you didn't want that to happen, what you should have done before agreeing to the role is that you should have said, well, wait a second. Before I agree to be the double for Natalie Portman, I need to know that it will never be portrayed that she's done this as long as I have. Because I've done it for 23 years.
And so before I agree to be a body double, I need to know that there will be some sort of communication between the film and the audience that lets them know, Natalie has not done this for 23 years, lest we degrade this beautiful art form called ballet. I think she's nuts. Yeah, that's why you're getting paid, sweetheart. But I do get it, and it's echoing what Sienna said. It's like when Joaquin Phoenix did Johnny Cash in Walk the Line, he actually was singing in those parts. He trained himself for over a year to drop his voice an entire octave, and he got credit for doing that stuff. Now, had it later come out that he was actually just dubbing over, lip-syncing over somebody else, he'd be like, oh, well, that's not as cool. Wouldn't it make more sense, then, if...
she hadn't done any dancing of her own. And this girl had done all of the dancing. Right. And then they came out and they made a big deal out of all the dancing Natalie Portman did when in fact she didn't do any dancing. Well, she did. Yeah. In fact, she studied for a year to be able to do it. But people were saying she's like amazing. She's a professional now. Well, they were saying she was amazing. I think she was. We don't know where it was. I saw parts of it where you could tell it switched over to the double. And I think. that most people that are watching it were just thinking, oh my gosh, that's her the whole time? That's crazy that she can do that. You guys know what a practice squad is on a football team, right? Yeah. That's like the Chargers going to the Super Bowl and winning, and then all the guys from the practice squad being like, well, that's not fair. We're the ones out there getting them ready every game and every practice. Yeah, but they're not playing in the game. They're not playing in the game. She's playing in the game as well. Listen, that's her job. I think L.O.B., I think you nailed it, L.O.B. Imagine if the stunt person for Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible said, do you know how long it takes to learn to rock climb professionally and hang from the precipice of a canyon? Do you know how long that takes? And yet people are praising Tom Cruise for doing some of his own stunt work. Yes, some. But I.
Bill Smith. The. The Bill Smith. I deserve to be recognized as Bill Smith professional climber. Well, you are, dude. Sarah Lane, your name is mentioned at the end of the film as being a double. You were asked for a reason, too. Give her a fake Oscar. I think what it is in ballet, you can kind of tell from the movie, the culture is so, it's just so proper and rigid. And they only can wear those, the colors that they're wearing, like the pink, the black, the gray, the white. They're like the only ones that are allowed in studio. So I think she's just coming from a place of such discipline. and respect that she's like, how dare the art of ballet be disrespected. Here's what she says about Portman winning the Oscar. Do you think Natalie Portman deserves her Oscar any less? No. I think she's a really beautiful actress. I loved working with her, and I definitely think that she deserves it. I'm just speaking because they're completely lying.
about the, you know, amount of dancing that Natalie did in the movie. And are you at all afraid you'll pay a price for speaking up? I don't really care. Let me be honest with you, I don't really care if you do things. It's the chickens. Does Papa Smurf know where you are? Sport or whatever it is. Art. Do you think that they'll ask you to be in another movie? Basically ruin that by doing that. But ticket sales for the ballet are up, so... Which is great. They went from 8 to 12, I believe. And now, who knows if I'll even be able to wear my pink... pink tights and pink tutu. I was literally two weeks away from a freaking pink tutu. It's not like karate. It's like a yellow belt. Is it true that you're just jealous that you never got to be a black swan? Yes!
That is 100% true. But the only reason I was not allowed to be a back swan is because I didn't put out. Yeah, you don't know what it's like in this world. You're right. A clandestine ballet. Creepy. Dirty. Filthy. Just pulling out your own skin in your face. So what do you want? I want recognition, dang it. We recognize that that was you. It says it in the movie. What do you want? It's not enough. What do you want? I want an Oscar to go to me, number one. For what? You're not an actress. What would you call it? I would call it Best Ballet. Like a stunt double Oscar? Yeah. I would say... Those are the ones they hand out on the Tuesday before the Oscars, by the way. Don't you have recitals for stuff like that? I want a recital special for me.
I want a special ribbon. I want an Oscar. And I want to be referred to as Natalie from this point on. You ever see single white female? Why don't you shove it right where the sun doesn't shine? How are your toes? How are your toes? Mine are pretty fine. You know, I don't care. You know, I really don't. Don't you? Don't you? Don't you? You have nightmares about this every night. I could care less. I don't, I seriously don't even think about it. What was the first thought when you opened your eyes this morning? That Natalie Portman got that freaking Oscar. But other than that, I don't care. Why do you have Natalie Portman's face in the middle of your dartboard? Because I throw darts at that bee's face every day for stealing my thunder.
You have a t-shirt with Natalie Portman on and a red line through it. That's correct. She's like Ray Finkel. Yeah, she's Ray Finkel from Pet Detector. Have so much respect for this art form and the people who are able to do it beautifully. I want to stand up for that. Well, if you feel so strongly, why accept the... Why wouldn't you say, listen, not only will I not do this, but I don't think anybody should be a double for a ballerina in a film because it takes years to learn this. That's a great point. It's a great point. It takes years. Why sign up for that deal? Why did you do it? If you feel so strongly, why would you ever do it? Yeah. It's just because they've made such a big deal about Natalie Portman. That's it. And that's not usually, they don't usually do that. I did not go to that movie to see the ballet. Right. Fair enough. But this woman, Sarah Lane, is just a little bit nuts, I think. Yeah. How hot is Mila Kunis on a side note? Oh, man. She really is a beautiful, beautiful girl. Man. And I think she actually is a dancer and didn't get very much credit for doing it. What? She doesn't like her.
No, I think she has a pretty face. Looks like a 12-year-old, but, you know. Gorgeous. She's gorgeous. Question. Is Mila Kunis, is she, did she do her own dancing? I think she, I know that she studied it. She, I don't know. I don't know if she had a double or not. I don't know if she needed a double for the kind of thing she was doing. She got real skinny, right? They all did, yeah. They all got real skinny. Maybe you guys should take dance. And they stand on their toes. Did you hear that? I heard it. No, correction. Natalie Portman couldn't even do point. She couldn't stand on her toes. She could not? That's what that broad said. That's what Sarah Lane said. They go through. Have you ever seen a ballerina's feet? Yeah. I'm sure they're hammer time. I mean, they're taped. Each toe is taped and bruised and bloody and no toenails and disgusting. And so Natalie Portman, I doubt, went through the pain that most of these people go through. Maybe she did.
Maybe she did. Maybe. Can you do it? I can stand on my toes. No, you cannot. No, you can't do point. You stand on like paper mache. You are standing on your big toe. Oh, my God. Yeah, but you have to do it barefoot. I'm not saying I can do it barefoot. You have to dance on your toes and land on them and everything. Just because you can stand on them doesn't mean you can dance on them. I wouldn't go to the ballet for $100,000. But a lot of people, let's just, you know. You know, after seeing Black Swan, I kind of thought it was. I kind of thought it was like I had respect for it. Oh, I have respect for it. It tells a story. Well, I will say this, you guys, though. Before I saw this movie, I didn't have respect for ballet. I didn't know anything about it. So I didn't think it was anything special. You would go? Would you go? No, I would now. Now you would. I think I would now. Now that I saw that movie. I would go. Not I. Ballerinas or...
I don't know what you call men, ballet guys. Homosexual. Homosexual. But like, I mean, they're... You know, listen. Listen, sometimes Woods will say stuff and forget that we're on the radio. And he forgets that there's probably somebody listening who's like, hey, listen, my son's in ballet. I'm going to kill you. I'm going to kill you. Bring it. No, they, I mean, they physically injure their body. Every single day. No doubt. They work harder than the average athlete, I think. Tell that to Lou Bush. I took two years of ballet as an adult. Oh, me too. And it was very difficult. And I did not graduate to a point. I could not get on my toes. Were there any dudes in there? No. That's weird. How does a guy get into ballet? Don't know. I mean, listen, I've seen Mikkel... Baryshnikov or whatever. Gorbachev. Yeah. The guy with the thing on his head. No, I've seen Baryshnikov. It's phenomenal with the stuff he can do, but come on. So strong. Sometimes if you're athletic, but you're not very big, then you get into like dance and acting. Listen, fine. I'll pull the curtain back. I mean, I'll say what everyone's thinking. There are, and we talked about that. I talked about this with a girl this weekend that was upset with me because she was listening to the best of.
And heard me saying that I didn't want Jake to be doing dance, my four year old. Right. And I said, I changed my position on that because, you know, it's good for kids with autism. But I do think that there's a stigma. Like when you think about ice skating, when you think about gymnastics, when you think about ballet, male cheerleaders, when you think about these different things and guys, what? Nurses. Nurses. No, no. Sorry. Maybe I, just let me do this. Let me handle this, L.O.B. Let me handle this. You killed L.O.B. No, but isn't there a little bit of a stigma? Yeah. That way, you know? And so it makes me think, like, you know, you got him into it. Didn't you think that they were going to take some ration, you know? Yeah. You have to think that that's going to be a really strong guy to take, because he knows he's going to take heat. Yep. You know? So he's got to be comfortable with himself. We're going to tell you what. OSI is. When we come back, the announcement of OSI is next. How's our chance? Let's do it! More from The Mikey Show coming up. Be a part of the show. I don't think it's that simple. 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. I'm beginning to like the sound of that.

This is Bird, Bird Surf Shed, with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report for a Monday morning being brought to you by Joe Roper's Surf Board Repair. Today we're looking at weak and bleak conditions. Eddie has come back and hovering over us. That means cloudy skies, southwesterly winds on a really small swell combination out of the west and northwest. Combine that with some mega high to low tide swings, actually low to high swings, and making it really hard to find any kind of rideable ways today. Running in that kind of ankle-knee waist-high zone on average, a rare plus only. Only the areas that are most open or protected, I should say, from those soft winds will have some sort of rideable ways today, but it's going to be real small with a longboard or maybe a wide fish style aboard being the call. Other than that, look for some more sunshine later in the day after this funky cloud and drizzle stuff burns off this morning.

I'll post a picture of it onto our Facebook page so that you can see what it looks like. But this is going to be just absolutely a mammoth event. A mammoth event. It involves incredible prizes. Now, the other thing you need to know, those are the big prizes. But everybody that goes through the line, I mean, everybody that comes to Qualcomm that morning, you're going to get an envelope.
The winning prize, which the grand prize, which is that FXDB Harley. You could win the Ibanez guitar. You could win the Haro mountain bikes. You could win, you know, but then we're going to have various prizes. We'll have various different prizes. So everybody's guaranteed to get something, even if it's a small prize. So we'll have, we're going to have classes that we'll give away. to choose fitness. We're going to be giving away Rockstar energy drinks. We're going to be giving away gift cards. You tell us where you want it, we'll put it on for you. And where you want the sticker. Yeah. There you go. You can tell us that too. We'll pop it on there. That's right. And then we'll place a sticker. That's true. That's a true story. So every car that comes through, you'll get the brand new Mikey Show sticker. And you may win this Harley Davidson. $24,000 blacked out.
Harley. So badass. So badass. I can't wait. Thank you, San Diego Harley. Yeah. I talked to the sales guy that facilitated it. He's like, dude, wait till you see this murdered out Harley. It's great. It's filthy. San Diego Harley Davidson came at this thing like big time. Yep. I mean, they are for real. And they're going to be out there that morning. It'll be happening on Saturday, May 14th. Please put this on your calendar now. Yeah. Get it on your calendar now. 10 to 1, Qualcomm Stadium. I mean, we're going big. Yep. We're going big. Let's shut that mother down. Oh, yeah. It's getting nasty. Oh, yeah. And if you're into winning all these prizes, if you're into getting the new sticker, the new decal, then you got to get down there. It's going to be absolutely fantastic. I want the cops to come. They did. Last time, man, you got to have the cops there just for, we got to hire security. I mean, it was crazy. Yeah, we shut down the 15. Shut down the 15 with a sig alert. Dang. Let's shut down the 15 and the 5. Yeah. Shut the whole thing down. It's going to be a mammoth, mammoth event. So mark it down. OSI, Operation Street Impact. Why?
Operation Street Impact, because we want this sticker on every single car in San Diego County. I mean, we want to blanket the city in this design. I want to pass you on the road and just go beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. Wave to you. There you go. And again, if you go to MikeyShow.com, I'm so excited to get this out now. I know. Feels good. I've been wanting to talk about it and tell everybody, and now it's here. We're very excited about it. Very excited. It's going to be fun. It's the brand new sticker. It's a $24,000 Harley Davidson from San Diego Harley Davidson. It's the prizes that are unbelievable. And we're adding more and more and more. I mean, there's still cool stuff that I wish I could tell you about, but it's not confirmed yet. But it's right there. And so as soon as we know, we'll be like, well, come on. We'll say, hey, we got something else big we're adding to it. But I mean. If it were me, I'd be out there because I would want that sticker no matter what. But in addition to that, I'd be like, wait, a 42-inch plasma installed at my house with surround sound. In. Yeah, you don't even have to fill anything out. You're given an envelope. It is so easy. You just drive through. We'll put the sticker on. Say what's up. And we'll give you the envelope. Yep. And you could open that envelope up and that.
You know, you could very well open that envelope up and it says you are the grand prize winner. Wow. Of a brand new blacked out. Oh, my God. Harley Davidson FXDB. It's a great bike. Great looking bike. Amazing. So, oh, man, it's going to be absolutely fantastic. M1J Hammy from PB. What up? Yeah, I just wanted to call and say how excited I am for this. I've been waiting. Yeah, dude. you guys sing on the air. It's going to be great. It's going to be great. The last show that you were on that you guys did it for, it was the greatest thing and this is going to be 10 times better. It's going to be absolutely, it's going to dwarf that in comparison. In terms of the planning that we're putting into this, in terms of what we have lined up, in terms of the prizes, the manpower. Everything that's gone into this. This is going to be the event of all events. Easily, aside from Mikeethon, it's the biggest event of my career. In terms of size, scope, magnitude. It's gigantic. If you're just tuning in and you don't know and you are waiting to hear what is OSI. San Diego Radio.
has never mobilized this type of takeover. The prizes are huge. On Saturday, May 14th, the Mikey Show and M1s take over Qualcomm Stadium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Operation Street Impact. A brand new Mikey Show sticker is in and ready for your ride every day. We've got a his and her mountain bike from Haro. A brand new Ibanez guitar. Street Impact FM 94.9.
This is going to be so big and so cool. And, you know, the other thing is, is that when you go through and you get the sticker put on your car, you get an envelope, whatever, it's Qualcomm Stadium. And so you can park, you can hang out. I mean, that's what this is going to. More than anything, this is also a gigantic M1 hang. Yeah. You know what I mean? In terms of M1 Nation. It's just a great way for us to all get together, hang out together, and just kind of see the whole thing. Go to facebook.com slash Mikey Show. You can see the brand new decal right now on the site. You can see what it looks like. That's what's going to be on your ride, on your car. We will be putting the decal on your car. And thank you. To createyourdesignonline.com. And Jared. Jared? Of course. Weird. Yeah, man. A lot of work went into this decal. It looks amazing. Oh, man. I'm so happy about this decal. So proud of it and just the way it looks. And I think it's just going to be such a cool event. So there it is. Man, my hands are shaking. My heart's beating fast. This is going to be really, really a big...
Big, big, big thing. It's going to be awesome. May 14th. So put that on your calendar now. May 14th, out at Qualcomm Stadium, the entire Mikey Show, all of M1 Nation. Now, here's the thing, too. I wanted to point this out. There are a lot of people. First of all, we have 12,355 people that are on our Facebook page. But there are literally hundreds of thousands more people that listen that aren't even on the Facebook page. And so what we basically are looking for, we have people that regularly call in. We're looking for everybody that enjoys the Mikey show, everybody that listens to the Mikey show to be there that day to get this decal. This is not just for the hardcore M1. It is for every single M1, every listener of the Mikey show. We want you out there. We want to get this new sticker on your car.
Oh, man. I'm beyond excited about it. Beyond excited about the prizes. Thank you to the FM 94.9 sales staff again. Thank you. Promotions. Promotions. Our boy, Adam. Adam. Garrett. Garrett. Our program director, Garrett. Garrett. And the hard work that everybody has put into making this thing happen. Because OSI is going to be... Logistically, man, all the stuff that they had to do, it's incredible. Just incredible. Let's see. Jesse, M1 Jesse, just put a picture up and said, is this the one? I believe that is the FXDB. We're going to get, we have Dan Fields, our professional photographer. He's going to be taking some rad pictures. He was out of the country. And he's back. He's taking some pictures of this bike. and we'll get pictures up of it very soon. But an incredible motorcycle. I mean, could you imagine? All you have to do is drive into Qualcomm. That could be yours. Come hang out with us. It's amazing. I know. Imagine you open that envelope, and you're like, you know, you get it, and you're just, tear it open. And you're like, wow. I want a freaking Harley. And the Harley will be there.
Oh, my God. Drive off with it. Oh, my gosh. It's going to be great. You have to let me ride it. Hey, this is what's cool. Put me in the back. New York Michael B. there from San Diego Harley-Davidson. And this just when they told us even this even this detail, I thought it was pretty rad. Once you win, you got to go over to San Diego Harley-Davidson and fill out like your registration paperwork. It's yours. Like imagine. that. And they're doing a big barbecue at their place afterwards. Yeah. They're having a big party over there and L.O.B. and Woods are going to go over there. How great is that? So you get to go over and get your motorcycle. And aren't they, they're doing a big Save the Cross ride too that morning. Yeah, they are. Yeah, I don't have the details on it, but we'll get them for people that are interested in riding. Which is going to be great. They're doing a Save the Cross, the Mount Soledad Cross, and New York Mike is going to be doing a ride up there. And it's going to be great, man. Big day. I know. Huge day. Let's see. Is there anything I'm missing? I think I got it all. We're going to have Rockstar Energy drinks. Hopefully, we'll do some barbecuing out there, too. Yeah, we'll get some stuff going for sure. It's going to be rad. Jay, you can cook for everybody. I can. I'll do it. I'm starting right now. I'm heading out there. Now, we do want to hear. Hopefully, you dig it. Hopefully, you dig the announcement. Hopefully, you dig the new Mikey Show sticker.
You dig the prizes, the surround sound, the Harley Davidson. For crying out loud, the pretzel chips. We're going to have a billion bags of pretzel chips. You know how good those things are? That's worth it to drive out for those. Remember how good those are? Are those the flat pretzels? Yes. Oh, Mike is obsessed with those. Dude, they're delicious. I'm obsessed with them. I have to buy them at my grocery store for him because his doesn't carry them. Love Rockstar Energy Drink. It's going to be great. I mean, come on. You could be sitting at home watching a 42-inch plasma not working. What's going to beat that? Somebody that's listening right now is walking away with that Harley. Oh, my gosh. That's just crazy. Oh, my gosh. That just blew my mind. Somebody in their car right now. You're listening. I love it. You're listening right now. You may be riding a new Harley. A badass. Oh, wow. I was going to say I might kiss you on the cheek. If she does, then I will. Oh, wow. Okay. Jay just out there kissing dudes. Hey, welcome, man. Flashing people. Hey, get over here.
What's your name, Brian? Hi, Brian. Oh, wow. Wow, wow. Look at that. Wow. Woods just crinkled his face. I don't need to hear the tongue noise. Operation Street Impact. Saturday, May 14th. Have you read the lyrics to this? It's a new Gaga. She's a clown. Got a crazy email to do for you. And also... There's a viral video out, and you have to hear this to believe it, but it's a viral video on YouTube of a girl who's probably about 18, 19 years old. She's doing these amazing animal imitations, so we're going to play it for you, right? There's a guy, and he calls out the animal name. She does the imitation. What we're going to do is we're going to play it for you because she's really good, but then after that, we're going to take all of our names here on the Mikey Show, put them in a basket, and we're going to draw a name, and whoever's name is drawn,
We've got to do the same voice as she does. Oh, my gosh. It's next. Nike Show on FM 94.9. This is the FM 94.9 Bud Light Concert Calendar. Where's the basket? What's in the basket? In the basket. No. Sienna, what's going on in news? Well, have you guys heard about this monster storm or storms that have swept the southeast? People are suffering all over.
after the devastating effects from, they reported 230 tornadoes. Now I'm talking through Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Virginia. The North Carolina governor is saying, quote, I've seen a lot of damage in North Carolina over the years, but this is the most catastrophic I've ever seen. The destruction is massive. Flash floods, hail. I mean, this is over three days. The death toll is 45 people. That's where it is right now. Six of the victims in Virginia, 22 in North Carolina. And those are the two states that have issued states of emergency. Also, on a lighter note, in the San Diego Zoo right now, the pandas have had a little privacy. Because you know why? Sienna loves her zoo story. She does. You know what? The San Diego Zoo is a very important thing here in San Diego. We're lucky to be a part of it. You like zoo stories. Let me tell you that... You like baby animal stories. Bayun, who is the... I know Bayoune. Bayoune. Great deal. Hell of a panda. Bayoune and Gow Gow are mating right now. And, you know, it's a big deal to have the pandas mate, you know. And so they have privacy right now because it's mating season. Apparently only three days per year. Put them at the Hyatt? Yeah, they put on some Al Jarreau. They light some candles.
Some walk by night. Pandas have difficulty breeding, and females are only in heat for three days per year. They must be married. They have to make sure they get it on, and Bayun began chirping at Gao Gao last week. There's some lovemaking happening at the San Diego Zoo right now. Good luck, Bayun and Gao Gao. Get some, guys. Bayun. And gow-gow. I love that. Let's see. Okay. Woody, what's going on in sports? Well, Chris Paul of the Hornets finished with 33 points, 14 assists, and 7 rebounds, leading the Hornets to a 109-100 victory of... over the Los Angeles Lakers, man. Well, they hadn't lost for a while. Well, yeah, the Lakers are, you know, always favored to win a championship. And Kobe had 34 points. But, man, I guess they were just really, really flat yesterday. Kobe Bryant was talking about Chris Paul, who went off, like I said, with 33 points and 14 assists cut to. It's very tough to beat a team in the league that many times in a row. I mean, you know, they come out extremely motivated, very well prepared.
They play extremely well. Chris is a handful for anybody to deal with. That's right. That's weird. That was really, really weird. Really strange. Oh, boy. And also the San Diego Padres earned a split with the Houston Astros. The Padres have not been hitting the ball at all. At all. They need some sticks. These guys got to get hot. But they are 7-8. They did earn a split. Heath Bell. has a new record. Really? 38 saves in a row without blowing a save. Knock on wood. He is just one of the best in the business. He made it very interesting in the ninth yesterday, but they did beat the Astros 8-6. Let's see. We have audio of Ling Ling and Zhao Zhao. Is that their names? No. Bayun and Gao Gao. Bayun and Gaga. No. This is actual audio from the Hyatt. From the Hyatt. Downtown. Presidential suite. Top of the Hyatt. Top of the Hyatt. Presidential suite. That's what a panda sounds like? E-E? They chirp. Bayun started chirping at Gal Gal, and Gal Gal swatted at him because she wasn't in heat yet. This happened last week. But then she let him nibble at her, and she raised her tail on Friday, which means it's time. Raised her tail. His name is what?
Bayoun. Bayoun. I heard Bayoun walked out of the presidential suite, and he was like, blew my freaking mind. They've already made it once. Blew my mind. They've already made it once, and they might be again in the next couple days. He called her back. He called her back. Called her back. He's like, that was the best panda sex I've ever had, and I'm a panda. What's so, like, creepy... is that the pandas have their privacy in their, like, cage. They opened up the middle fence and let them in together. But there's zookeepers, like, all sitting and watching because they know they've already made it once. They're like, hey, hey, can we get a little privacy? Hey, creep, why don't you beat it? Why are you in your chair nude with socks pulled up to your knees smoking a cigarette? Turn that camera around. What?
These zoo people, they love the pandas. They went into work skipping their meetings. They left them a bean bag and a couch. A lava lamp. Rolled up dirt. Some chocolate covered strawberries. Champagne. What's the deal with pandas? They need so much privacy. I don't know. Who do they think they are? Who do they think they are? It's just so important that they only have such a limited time to mate because the girls are not in heat very often. Only three days a year. They're very fickle. If you've ever gone to the exhibit, you've got to be all quiet. You can only stay for a certain amount of time. Really? Oh, yeah. Pandas are a big deal here. They really are. They are. They're in danger. They'll rip your face off, too. Yeah. They'll rip your face clean off. Oh, yeah. One swipe. Yeah. Well, they're endangered because they only do it like three days a year. Guys like, yeah, it's really great being a male panda. It's fabulous. It's awesome. I watched the movie Rio, number one movie in the box office right now. It came out Rio. It's an animated movie. And it was about parrots that are endangered and there's only two left. And the whole movie is about them mating. It was so cute.
Kids show. Great movie. Get some. Get some. Number one movie, though. You guys should go see it. Polly want to get some? Polly want to get some. Is there a British parrot in there? They're from all over. Polly want to get some. Polly want to get some. Polly. Don't be so ornery. Polly, I'm a horny, baby. Is that parrot from Archipelago? I want to get some bloody some. It's Brazil, Jay. That's parrot. All I need is some tortilla chips to get me in the moon. Four. Weird. A little pico de gallo. Of course. So good. Unlike a panda. Doesn't take a lot to please me. So this is a 18, 19-year-old girl. And she does animal impressions. Guy calls out the animal name. She does it. Now, when she's done, we're going to do it. One of us is.
We've got all of our names in this little basket. And we'll have Cross come in here and draw a name. You lost one. And draw a name. And we'll see who's going to do it. But first, let's hear the girl. American Robin. Cricket. Wolf. Peacock. Horse. Elephant. Sheep. Goose. Morning dove. Kookaburra. Monkey. Monkey. It's pretty dang good, right? Some of them were real, real good. Yeah. Yeah. They're all great. But yeah, some of them were real good. All right. So we're going to reach into a basket, pull out one of our names, and then we're going to have to try it. M1 Tim from San Diego. What was the word of the day? Pico de gallo. That is correct, sir. That's correct. You are a winner. You get to go see Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow for knowing the word of the day. And you also get some surf lessons. Hang on, okay? Yeah.
Thank you, buddy. Hang on the line. All right. Cross. Cross. Come on in here. Cross. Chris. Chris is going to draw one of our names from this basket. And whoever's name he draws is going to have to do the same impressions that girl did. We've got them all written down. Go ahead, Chris. He's reaching in the basket. Yeah. And he's reading the name. Don't be me. Please don't be me. L.O.B. Yeah. L.O.B. She's going to be the best at it. The master impressionist. I love it. Are you ready, L.O.B.? Yes. Dog. What just happened to isolate all these? What was that? A gorilla. That was a great gorilla. Are you talking smack about my parents? Let's start again. She panicked. She panicked. She tried to hold her to it. I did. I did. I was like, okay, I'm ready. Okay. Dog.
Okay. Cat. Robin. Cricket. Owl. There's a monkey in it. Crow. Wolf. Peacock. Horse. Oh, wow. She's really going. She's not just giving a name. I appreciate that. Elephant. Oh, boy. Cow. Sheep. Duck. Okay, I can do this one. Donald. Goose. Dove. Kookaburra. I don't even know what that sounds like. Monkey. Parrot. This is really hard. A couple of them not so good. My favorite ones were the ones that were not so good.
I was the first one. Dog. Dog. It's hard to do under pressure. I mean, it's just a dog. It's really hot. Isolated. I don't know why. That was incredible. Oh, boy. Jay making love. Oh, oh, oh. Oh, wow. Jay, don't imitate it. Please never. That one imitating. Oh, boy. Jay making love. Jay sounds like me. The Grand Canyon. There's a big echo. Echo, echo. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Jay just went to the Grand Canyon. Did you guys know that? For vacation. That's some vacation. We were talking about it earlier. Fantastic. Hiked about 96 miles. Oh, man. Rappelled down the side, built a teepee. With his eight-year-old. Killed a cow with his bare hands. Cooked it. Made love. Made love. Wiener time. It's more sweet.
I love me. I could use that effect every day. I would not be mad. Oh, my gosh. That's brilliant. Oh, my gosh. Jasper. Hello, hello. It's a boy asleep. Jasper. Plug your ears. Give sex head talk. Yeah, that's right. Now's the time to murder 10 babies. This is a bird. This is a bee. Dad, we're on vacation. I don't care. You're going to learn about me. Stuff. I know enough. I've got brothers. You're going to learn some stuff. Now, this is a naked body. I know it's me, but this is a naked body. You're screaming at me. I'm not screaming. We're in the Green Canyon. I ain't screaming. Why would you pick now of all times to have this talk with me? Well, a couple reasons. One, it's 16 degrees. And number two, it's very padded.
There's no one else here because it's 16 degrees. Everybody else went to Hawaii. Everyone else is in a warm place. Most people go on warm places for vacation, Dad. You know who else isn't here? Wolves. They're on vacation because it's too cold. Can you imagine if Jay really gave him the talk then? He's like, Dad, it's bad enough I hear it one time, like three more times because of the echo. Dad, maybe I finish eating the Slim Jim and important beans. And then you have a talk with me about the birds and bees. Dad, I can see my breath right now. It's not really the ideal time. If Jay, if I was a kid, and I know Jasper's different because he does that stuff, I'd be like, oh my God, where are we going? I'd be like in the sixth mile walking down into the Grand Canyon and it's 14 degrees. And I'm freezing. I'm like, you're starving. You're starving. You're starving. You're like, hey, dad, maybe I gnaw on your ankle. What did you do when they were babies, Jay? We took them still. In the backpack? Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's incredible. He's a mountain. You know, I hung out with Jay and Kim this weekend and she's just like him. She's like, they're like always ready to go and like.
Man, he's prepared, dude. Jay is prepared. Rebecca and I were in Hawaii, and we're the same, too. One morning, she goes, you want to go down to the pool? And I said, nope. And she goes, what do you want to do? I go, lay here. And she goes, that sounds good. We just laid in bed. That's awesome. That's love. Oh, man. It was great. Did you have your rice and eggs? Yes. Every day? Not every day. I got tired of it. I got tired of it. But I did have my rice and eggs. Coffee? Oh, yeah. You know what I thought was really interesting? I mean, to me, Hawaii is paradise. And we got a cabana one day. By the pool? By the pool. Oh, it's rad. And CB was with us. And he checked into it because we weren't going to go down there for a while. You get it from 7.30 to whatever. So he went down there at 7.30 to check into it.
So he goes and the lady's like, so let me explain to you what comes in the cabana. She's like, you know, you got this couch here. You've got this flat screen TV. It's got remote control. You've got cable television. There's a refrigerator here. If you have any valuables, there's a little safe here for you. There's blah, blah, blah. And she goes through this whole thing and he goes, that's it? You know, like joking around. He's like, that's it? And she's like, well, and he goes, I'm kidding. There's got to be that guy, though, that would be serious. Yes. Oh, yeah. Oh, for sure. Big time. And, you know, that happened. No. He's pointing at Jay. No. Jay doesn't need anything. No. But he would be that guy. If he's paid for it, he wants it. I wouldn't pay for it. Yeah, he would never. He would never. But I said, you know, because we were making that joke, and I said, I believe. that there is 0% of the population that would ever be serious about that. And they were like, are you kidding? Of course they're, and I'm like, how could somebody be serious and say, Mariah Carey? It's like Joe World Traveler that's like, really? This is what you call an espresso? Really? Oh yeah. Big timers. Big timer. Dude. Have I ever done that? Nope. No.
Not one time, ever. Gage Yellivan. These guys played this song live for us, and it was... How rad was that, Jay? Oh my gosh. Wasn't that great? Cool, you guys are lucky. This guy's telling me. Gotta tell you about CeeLo Green at Coachella. Speaking of Coachella. Got booed off the stage. He flipped out. Really? Well, we'll tell you all about it. And Sienna may not, but do you guys remember Milli Vanilli? Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Milli Vanilli was this... There's two dudes that were out in the early 90s. Robin Fab. L-O-B. Robin Fab. And the reason that they're famous is that they were very popular. They had videos. They were on tour. They were lip syncing. They had studio musicians that recorded those hits, and then it was found out that they didn't sing any of them. By the way, you can't buy their music on iTunes. Really? I don't know why, but they don't make their music available on iTunes.
Okay, but Fab, one of the guys from Million Vanelli, he's released a new song. Oh, wow. And we're going to let you hear what he sounds like when we come out. You be the judge. Oh, my God. It's better than I thought. Let your voice be heard on The Mikey Show now. Call 570-1949 or shoot him a text. 949mikey at gmail.com. And let's see. Tonight's 8 o'clock album. TV on the radio. Oh, yeah. Nine Types of Light is the name of it. Okay, so we talked about Milli Vanilli. And you guys remember Milli Vanilli. So what are you doing back? Well, I sat back and thought about the things we used to do. It really meant a lot to me. You mean a lot to me. It really meant a lot to me. You mean a lot to me. I really mean that much to you? Girl, you know it's true. Oh, wow. Yeah, Woodsy. Get it. Get it. Woodsy's doing the dance. I don't know what they call that. That was it. That wasn't it. Holding up your belt buckle. Yeah. Not embarrassed to admit that I like this song. Oh, me too. This was a big player back in the day. This is the song that skipped.
Yes, they were performing it live. It skipped. Well, that was their whole deal. They lip synced. What's so hard? Why couldn't you just do that yourself? Right. Dancing is so exhausting. It's not like Pavarotti. Well, that was his whole thing. I saw a special on them. Fab, is that his name? His whole thing was he was like, I wanted to sing. I wanted to, but they wanted these studio artists and everything. And he wanted to prove to the world, like, yes, I can sing. Well, they wanted to be them. They had to be them because they were so good looking. Yeah. They won a freaking Grammy, dude. They won a Grammy. Oh, wow. They won a Grammy. I forgot they won a Grammy. I forgot that they won a Grammy. You know, when they called their name, they're like, oh, no, no, no, no. Oh, boy. Oh, God, we won. Oh, boy. What are we going to do? What are we going to do? Because, you know, you win the Grammy. You go from here to here. Sure. And people start sniffing around what you're up to. He said that moment on stage when it skipped and it was, girl, you know, it's girl, you know, it's girl. He said it. It was just like, like, everything left his body. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. And then they try to cover it. Like, they try to like.
Yeah, like act like they're freestyle. Act like, oh, dude. Girl, you can go. That was actually pretty standard at the time because we had a lot of bands come through and they called it being tracked. But usually it was you singing, though, at least when you were tracked. Yes. Well, this is Fab Morvan, and he is now going to do his own stuff. He was on The View, and they asked him, can you sing a little bit? But it's sad because I was reading that you have a beautiful voice. That your voice coach said that you and your partner could sing like Pavarotti. Can you sing a little? Yeah, as a matter of fact, I have something coming out today on iTunes called Anytime, so I'll give you a little something. Oh, good. Let's hear it. Oh, how many times can I tell you? How many times can I tell you? Thank you. It's not bad at all. It's not bad. That's enough, next. That's plenty. He's nervous. I think that you sounded like a walrus making love. No. I've heard turds sing better than you. This is, okay, let's be fair to Fab.
Isolate that. We have Fab and the studio version of that song. Not bad at all. Like Chris Brownbane. That's what I was thinking. Yeah, Michael Jackson. Beaver. Beaver. Oh, Bieber. Fab. Is that you? Fab. It's me, I swear. I swear it's me. It's really me. It's me. It's me. Trust me. All right, it's not me. It's not me. It's my mate, Charlie. Charlie. Charlie. Sorry. Fooled me once. It does sound like it's got that kind of crisp round vibe to it. Yeah, a little Bieber. Nice Bieber. He's waiting for it. Dying to use that. He's waiting.
What's he? Dull your hands up in victory. Fab. Yeah, he had AIDS, right? No, it was a drug overdose. Did you ever just say stuff? Cocaine is another drug. I think it was an overdose. Sure. Yeah, I'm pretty sure. He had AIDS, right? Yeah. I mean, just anybody. Like, you mentioned anybody. Typhoid fever. Like, hey, today's the anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death. She's like, AIDS, right? AIDS. Special on them. Do you ever not watch Special? It's a documentary. How do I answer that? It's a documentary. How do I answer that? I saw a documentary on this. Everything LOB's ever mentioned came from a special. I saw a special. She's like, no, no, no. Dinosaurs died of AIDS. I saw a special. It was leprosy. It was leprosy and AIDS.
It was lepronic AIDS. There's a lot of theories on what happened to the dinosaur. It's not just AIDS or leprosy. I saw special on it. Leprassic AIDS is what it was. It was Leprassic. Jurassic. Jurassic AIDS. Something is wrong with this girl. It was a suspected alcohol and prescription pill overdose. Same thing. In a Frankfurt hotel. Same. Yeah. With the aid of. With the aid of. Aid of. Aid of pills. There you go. I really did think that he had AIDS. We know. You said it. We know. I love L.O.B. I know it. You got to. You got to. Who shot President Kennedy? She's like, no, he died of AIDS. No, I did not say that. It was AIDS. The AIDS of a bullet. The AIDS of a bullet. The AIDS of Lee Harvey Oswald. It's not funny. I know. It's too soon. Maybe he had AIDS, but he didn't die of it. Could have been. We don't know. Maybe we just conjecture that someone had AIDS.
AIDS. We don't know if he did or didn't. We don't. He very well could have. I didn't say it definitively. I said, didn't he have AIDS? She was asking a question. I was just opening up for discussion. It's just a yes or no question, you guys. She's like, Marilyn Monroe. AIDS, right? Sorry, welcome back. If you're listening on the internet. If you're listening on the internet, you just heard Jay. Oh, no. Did it go in there? Oh, gosh. A little bit. A little bit. It'll be okay. Nobody panic. There's a spill. Did it go in there? It did. Jay, a lot. Jay, a lot. What is a lot? Into the board. Into a mechanical board. It's everywhere out here. I'll tell you that much right now. Just get it out of the board.
Not only did he spill, but he dropped an S-bomb. I had to hit the button on it. It was good working with you guys. Oh my gosh. All of us pushed back from the mic like that was going to help. It went from AIDS to bad words. I know. I can't. That's crazy. I think Jay would have had fun with me if I had done that. Oh my. It's okay. It's all going to be good. If anybody can fix it, it's good. Well, I'm fine. Listen, if there's ever a bad word, at least we have the dump button that we can hit. Thank goodness. The thing that scared me was the kombucha. Does that mean I can curse? No. Should he blow it out with air? I thought you were saying it was fine. No. If we want, I thought it was carte blanche. Do whatever you like. Wow. Hey, there's a new movie. Water for Elephants. There's a new movie out called Water for Elephants starring Robert. Robert Pattinson. Now, he played Dracula. He was a Dracula. Yeah, he was a Dracula. Edward Cullen. No, he played a Dracula. He played a Dracula in The Twilight. The Twilight. Yes. He played a vampire. He played a Dracula. Yeah. Count Dracula. He played Count Dracula. Count Dracula is one vampire. In The Twilight. The Twilight. No. And from Utah. He's in a new movie called Water for Elephants. His career's over. Like, Robert. No!
This looks like the best movie ever. Sorry, Sienna. That dude is a vampire. He'll always be a vampire. No one will ever see him as anything far from the truth. Sienna, he has blood running down his chin in this interview. You guys, this movie looks so good. He looks so good because he's not pasty white. This is going to be the number one movie for a month. He's on the Today Show right now. He's on the Today Show right now. He looks like Count Dracula from The Twilight. He has blood running down his chin. No, he does not. He looks like, oh, he looks great. His career has just begun. He looks like he just woke up and went, and opened the coffin. You're jealous. This movie comes out and I've seen the previews and every time, doesn't matter how many times I've seen the preview, I stop and I watch the rest of it because it looks so good. I'm sorry, but the name Water for Elephants just sounds so pretentious. Water for Elephants. It could be called anything. There's a bunch of elephants in it. They need water. The movie is called...
Like water for chocolate. Robert, when you did water for elephants, how did you get into the right headspace? I went in the Martins and wrote prose. I've actually got some audio of me when I was doing that. Dear Robert, I love thee so much. And if I want a vampire, I would make love to you with my eyes. But I am a vampire. Shut up. I will always be a vampire. Robert, do you think you've been typecast? Blah. No, I don't. Blah. It's a great answer. You are going to be sorry. Are you going to win an Oscar? Yes. It will. It looks like a great movie. I'm hesitant to say. And the winner of... Robert Pattinson. Dracula! Like water for elephants. Like chocolate for elephants. Elephants. Like chocolate for elephants. Idiot. Eat to mama to elephants. Not pretentious. It looks so good. Isn't it? It's not metaphorical. It's literally about water for elephants. Reese is pretty good. It has Reese Witherspoon. Now, you don't know. You saw her in the Johnny Cash.
Yeah, she's good. She's really good. She's playing a serious role and she's going to be great. He looks like Count Dracula from when he was in that Dracula movie. Yes, when he played Dracula. He can't change his face. I know, he still looks like him. He has fangs. He's got fangs. He's see-through. He lives in a coffin. He's got transparent skin. Brad Pitt was Lestat, or he was in Lestat, whatever it was. He was definitely in Lestat. Oh, boy. Oh, wow, what? Interview with the vampire. Wasn't the board enough? Wasn't the S word? Remember, we can't drop you again. Oh, S. It's back up. It's ran back up. We're all good. For now. Oh, sorry about that. Mr. Jackson. Not only did a curse. My bad. Ask me. Not only did a curse, but damn near ruined the board. Except I did ruin the board. We're all totally effed. Sorry about that. Anyway. See you later. Even better that he spilled kombucha. Oh my God. They're like, hey, how do we get this fermented vinegar? Are these active cultures going to eat through the wires of this board? How do we clean? They're on the line. The engineers are on the line later today with the company going.
How do you get active cultures out of a board? Seems to be a bacteria on the phone button here. Why would you need active cultures? Is it still yogurt? Was it Yoplait? No, it's one of our DJs. He spilled something called cambrucha. What is it? Cambrucha. I'm not familiar with that. It's like some sort of Eastern Indian. Mushroom sauce or something? So he's eating lunch and spilled a little food on the board? I guess. It's in a liquid form, though. That's the thing. It's like a fungi. It's a science experiment that the old man does? Yeah, it's like a science experiment. He was taking mushrooms at work, is what you're saying. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. All right. That was great. Thanks for taking the heat off me with the AIDS thing. No problem. Hey, so tell me about CeeLo Green at Coachella. He got booed off the stage or what? Yeah, well, when he came, well, Woods and Jay were at Coachella, so they heard live what was happening. But according to the news, he was booed at the festival because he got on stage 25 minutes late. Now, when he got on there, he said, you know, sorry, guys, I just landed. His flight was late. Y'all still going to party with me? I only have 20 minutes. It ain't my fault. They should have given me a better time slot. Oh, wow.
So he was saying all this and everyone's just booing him and he only got to sing a couple songs. He probably didn't even sing this one. Yeah, he did. This is not forget you. It's the other one. He might have said F you Coachella and asked people to raise their middle fingers up as a big F you Coachella. Did he really say that? Yeah, it's their fault. You didn't know. Oh, you must. Not have known you're performing at that time on that date. You didn't think about maybe coming in the day before. Right. Morning of. Getting ready. Morning of, maybe. That's too bad. Those stage schedules are super tight. Oh, yeah. Once they're late, you know, they never catch up. So they just turn those stages like that. So when he's late. They can't jump into somebody else's time. They literally just cut him off. They just turn the mics down. Like when you do to me sometimes. Turn the mic down. I turn your mic down? No. Okay. I was like, wow. I don't remember that. That makes me sound very bad. But they just went, and he's up there, like, pitching a fit. No sound. They just beat him off the stage, yep. And people were just losing it. But then, you know, instead of, hey, my bad, guys, I'm sorry. I only got 20 minutes. Let's rock the house. It was, well, screw them. They're the ones that screwed up. They should have given me a better slot. I'm CeeLo Green. Wow.
That's too bad. What does he mean by a better slot? Like later in the afternoon. He should have just got there on time. Yeah, you get there on time. You know how that doesn't happen to, CeeLo? That's true. They're all good slots. It's happening all weekend. Yeah, you're at Coachella. They're all good, pal. Let me throw this email past you guys, see what you guys think of this. Mikey, wanted to know what you thought of this because you have twin boys. I do too. They just turned 16. One is very athletic and popular at school. The other is shy and academic. I feel bad for him because he's a bit of a loner and outcast. Should I make his brother take him along to things and include him more? They used to fight all the time, but now they get along great, so I thought it would be perfect. What do you think? I think that that's a bad idea to force that on, you know, brother. Like, to force... You can ask him. Yeah. You can ask him. But it sounds like...
The one kid that is shy and academic would be uncomfortable doing that type of stuff. I mean, I was more, I wasn't academic. Were you shy? No, I wasn't shy either. But I do have anxiety issues. And so it's tough for me to be around large groups of people sometimes. And so sometimes it's just tough for me to be around people. Sure. So I can understand. I'm sure this dad wouldn't be emailing you, though, if he didn't feel that the academic son didn't want to go. Obviously, he feels that the son wants to go out and doesn't really have friends and, you know. So what do you do, though? Can you really force the one kid to do, you know, like, hey, you take your brother. Not all the time. You might be forcing both of them. Yeah. Not all the time, but I think sometimes you could be like, please, you know, just bring your brother with you.
Really? You know, let him go out. If he wants, invite him at least. Well, yeah, invite him. If he wants to go, you know, if he doesn't, that's a different story. But if he wants to go, yeah, he should be brought along sometimes. What do you guys think? 570-194-9. Oh, we got Woods of Wisdom too. Don't go away. Do some Woods of Wisdom for you. We used to have family reunions at his place. My aunts and uncles would sit around and retell outrageous old stories, usually at the same time. That's when Grandpa would give me the signal, and we'd slip out for a drive to get Mother's cookies. We both loved the circus animals for the pink frosting and the way the round sprinkles crunch on your teeth. On the way back, Grandpa would take the long way home, and we'd eat cookies and listen to nothing but jazz and the sound of the ocean. I know it's simple, but Grandpa and I both liked simple. And now, at every family reunion, that's the story I like to tell over and over again. Mother's Cookies. There's a memory in it. I'll never guess whose iPod I found some John Mayer on. Tell me it was L.O.B. Oh, no. It was at Coachella. I was scrolling through somebody's iPod that you would never think would have John Mayer on there. I know who. Nope. Garrett. Our program director, Garrett. I guess he's into some John Mayer. You're going to lose my street crap. Sorry, G. Just the hidden tracks. I wasn't trying to throw you under the bus, pal. Everyone likes it. I did find it interesting. I really did find it interesting. I like some of his stuff. I've always said that. Just overall. If you mention JoJo on there, I'll kill you. I like this song. I know. This song I like. And I do think the lyrics are cool. I love everything about him. Yeah, I like him. I like his music. I think I like his voice. I like the stuff he says. I know I'm getting older because I'm into it. I don't like that mothers and daughters song at all. I like that song. It's very touching. What's the one you guys always talk about that you like? No, no. Heartbreak. Oh, Heartbreak. Yes, I don't like that one either. That's ridiculous. I believe you do like it. I don't. I admit it. I like that one. I know you better than you know you. LLB, we know women. You don't. And men. Yeah, you know everything about everyone. This is Mike Edwards' new bit. Yeah, they know everything. We know everything. I know what you like more than you do, LLB. Trust me. Trust me. I know you better than you. Yes. I know you like a sister. If you did, you'd know that. Not get me. Especially the-
That's the best part. This doesn't sound good in your eardrums. His breathy little uses it too much in this song. Plus, I don't like that. He's trying to get you. I like him better as acoustic, not with a... Imagine, Lauren, if you weren't with Matt and you had just gone out with a fun night out with the girls and you see John Mayer and he just... Oh, he sucks you in. And then you wake up in the morning like in this amazing hotel room and he's sitting next to you on the bed. He's greasy. Playing this song to you. And you'll be like, oh, yeah. No way. Oh, wow. Our nanny, Nita, tried to tell me that she doesn't think David Beckham is good looking. And it's the same concept. I'm like, I go. There's no way. I'll let that in on David Beckham. That's it. Let's go. I'm not. I mean, if we're not going to be honest here. You say that after he bends it. It's going to be a big sham. If this is just a big sham. Mikey's leaving. I'm leaving. Wow. If it's a sham. It's not a sham. What are some of the women you guys say you're not into? Plenty of them. There's only one that I have that a lot of people think is really good looking that I don't. And that's Pam Anderson.
I never did, and I still don't. There's plenty of them that you guys are like, what? I know Woods does. Woods has a type. Yeah. He's very easy to nail down. I don't care what woman you are. You think David Beckham's good looking. Yes. And if you say you don't, listen, lesbians think that he's the hottest dude. Dudes think he's good looking. I'm like, gosh, darn, that guy's good looking, dude. He's good looking. I won't deny that, but there's plenty better. We're not asking is there no one better. I'm saying. Is he good looking? Yes. Yes. Period. And Nita was saying he wasn't? She said that his hair is ridiculous. He does stupid things to his hair sometimes. It's a weird color too. It's cool. His body is flawless. His face is too. His face is flawless. I mean, I'm not being gay. I'm just saying. Listen, the guy is great looking. I'm being gay. I love him. Which is like, okay, fine. I want to make love. I'm a gay then. She's blonde. I'm not into blondes. That was Wood singing. I am a gay. It means that David Beckham. Wood, stop saying it. Why are you so emphatic about this? We get the boy blood. Yeah, we get it. I'm gay. Over the top.
He's like Matt Commerce, you know? He's a nice, lithe body. Very strong. That's Lauren's boyfriend? Yes. And when you say he's got a very lithe body. It's lithe. Don't look at me and wink. It's lithe. I went to the gym with Matt Commerce last week. That's unbelievable. That kid can do some pull-ups. You're weird. Yeah, you are. You make me uncomfortable. Tall, dark, and handsome. That's the way to go. Specifically dark. Yes. Good looking guy. What do you want? He's got a nice body. What do you want from me? So he's handsome. Do you want to look at my Hawaii pics with his shirt off? I'd love to. What? Really, dude? Really? Sheen you about it? Sheen you right now. Mike and Woods are you back and forth with clips? It's on. It's on. No. It's dripping through the board now. It just made it through. Bring it. I can enjoy the show. Go, Mike. Bring me Dr. Clown shoes. Oh, shut up. Shut up. Stop. Move forward. Oh, no. Oh, no. Is that his board? Yeah, it's dripping through. Oh, gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. So we're going to be taking applications for producer this afternoon, maybe.
I'm going to miss you guys. We're going to miss you, pal. Wait, Lauren's saying she's hearing something strange. I'm not hearing... Wait. Lauren, I thought I heard... Is it AIDS? It's AIDS. No, it's your kombucha on the board, Jay. Why don't you keep your focus on cleaning that up? You have ear AIDS. I heard it. I think it was... It was the napkin. Jay wiping with a napkin. Yeah. Sanitary napkin. You know who doesn't hear things? Person that doesn't have a producer that doesn't spill chemicals. Really? Says the one who spills every other day. Not on the board. Here we go. 570-1949 is our number. Wow. Anyway. Anywho. Hey. First of all, it looks like soup outside. It's disgusting. It'll pass. Miso. It looks like miso soup. It looks like miso soup. We've had a gorgeous last week and it will be back. Don't worry. How long is it supposed to last? I don't know. It's raining. It's going to burn off. It feels nice sometimes. Does it? Yes, it does. We're in the tropics. Yeah. It's gorgeous. Yeah, I got enough rain in Kauai. Thank you very much. Giving you time for your sunburns to go away. Hey. Hi.
Wendy's has these great fries. Me and Woods know. Weird. And they've got sea salt on them and they call them natural cut fries with the skin on and everything. Apparently they're not. Well, okay. This is the problem. Wendy's redid the fries, which you guys love, has the skin, has the natural... look with sea salt supposed to be healthier for you. However, now we know that there's chemicals that they use. It's not natural. They say, here's the not so natural part. The fries are sprayed with sodium acid. Frostate. Frostate. Frostate. Frostate. Frostate. Pyrophosphate. Phosphate. Somebody will correct you, so it doesn't really matter. Bad for you. It's a chemical that prevents them from turning brown, and then they put them in two baths of frying oil. I don't care. It tastes good. Well, you know, people are upset because they're like, well, you make these fries sound like they're natural and they're better for you, but they're not. I want my fries to have hair under their arms. I want natural fries.
Look who's back. But, you know, when you're Wendy's, you're saying, look, we're giving you something cheaper and better than what there was, and you're still complaining. Yeah. It's me, Dirk Von Strauss. Hello, Dirk. Wood. How was your vacation? Where did you go? Where did I go? The forest of Indonesia. I thought you went to Antarctica with the color of your skin. Oh, really? Is that right? No, I was actually doing research for my thesis. On? I'm working on my PhD. On? Formidable. Oh, wow. No. Strong? It's a strong DHC powder. You know what? Forget it. What's your beef with the fries? The beef is that... Oh, I get it. You're trying to be punny. Is that right? No, I was just... What's your problem? Yeah, what's your... What's your bit with the fries? Your situation. You're going to ask me if my buns are warm? Are your buns warm? Punny like that. Are your buns warm? Do you like your buns warm? Give me a rim shot for that. You're funny.
So do you like the fries or you don't? If you say that something's natural, which it should be. Everything should be. Everything should be natural and organic. Agreed. And so if you're going to serve something and call it natural, for God's sake, don't put Darcy at the foreflooring idea. You know that Wendy's is fast food, right? I understand that, but I only began eating there because they were serving. Just getting the fries. You're not getting a burger and a shake to go with it. It's an audit. Thank you. Beautiful. They also have dusted the fries with dextrose. Oh, boy. A sugar dry from corn. For the same purposes, mainly so that the fries don't turn brown. Let me ask you a question, L.O.B. Does that give you AIDS? Not that I'm aware of. Not that you're aware of, eh? I wouldn't think so. Maybe if you have an open sore in your mouth. Gary Coleman. AIDS. Are you just going to start calling out? Killing people? Start killing people?
He's already dead. Unbelievable. Woods killed him all. I did kill him, actually. I talked about Gary Coleman, made fun of him, and he died later that day. About two hours after we got off the air. Remember that? Yes. I had one of the greatest lines I've ever had, and I can't remember what it was. And then everybody laughed, and we're like, oh. And then I got texts later that said, Gary Coleman passed. He's dead. He died today. Yeah. Two hours after you said that funny comment. Not so funny now, is it? Very funny. Poor guy. When I killed Arnold. Arnold Drummond. Yeah, Arnold Drummond. What are you talking about? Wow. I don't always play that. Maybe we take it off. There we go. That's just what I wanted. What was that? Moon River? I don't know what that's for.
Maybe that was like the bed you're supposed to play when he's giving advice. Oh, is it? I don't know. No. Is it? Let's try it. Yeah, we'll try it. When the advice is already, you know, happening. So he gives the advice to this. You play the jingle first. Yeah. And then this plays. That's what I'm guessing. Not bad. What is it labeled? Woods of Wisdom bed? Yeah, bed. Oh, there it is. That's what it is. It's a bed. Did we have this as an idea at one point? I think it was yours, my friend. It was from Anne's house, I believe. Is that right? No. Are you ready? I am. I can't play this bed, though. It's confusing me. All right, Woods of Wisdom. You can call to 570-1949 if you have a question for Woodsy. Guys, guy, that's Woods, all right? He's got a dip of snuff in right now. I'm not saying that that's good for you. It's not. It's not. But kid's got a dip of snuff in. Kid's a kid. Calls himself the kid. I'm called the kid. Okay, he's called the kid. Calls himself it as well. I might have it on my baseball bat. And by might, you mean you do? I do. You do have it on my baseball bat. First question for Woods. Woods, what's your take on a guy who carries business card holders in his jeans? I own a tile company and my wife says that it's lame to do. M1 grouted out loud.
It's not lame to do it all. The little gold. Well, okay. They don't have to be gold. Well, aren't they always sort of... The case? Listen, I have a special affinity for a business card holder. I have a dear friend of mine, Bark Malman, that got a business card holder from a guy that got it from a guy that was in sales. But he wears a business suit. Okay. But it was passed down to me. And if I wore... I used to keep my cards in it and take it out with me when I went out. You did? Yeah. In your jeans? My jeans. Okay. Then mine. I don't think it's lame. All right. Then there you go. Why not just put them in your wallet? Yeah. Because it makes your wallet all thick and fat. It looks fancy. I think I like it. Yeah, it's kind of fancy. I love a good business card. Yeah, I don't want like gold. They have nice ones that aren't super fancy. They don't even have to be metal. They can be leather too. Those are pretty cool too. And there's nothing that says I'm not going to call this guy than a bent up business card. Right. From your wallet. In your wallet with the corners all like. Yeah. Yeah, it looks like this. Yeah, exactly. Well, mine are like that, but I only give mine out because the person is trying to get a hold of me. Right. So mine is not a business card. You're not a tile guy. No. Out there trying to solicit customers. Yeah, if a tile guy gave me like a crumpled up, like dog-eared business card, I'd be like, wow, I guess he gets a lot of business. Yeah, I've had that happen before. He goes like, hey, let me give you my card. And it's a turd. It's like falling apart. I'm like, come on, pal. I'm not going to call you. I'm not going to call you. Dirtbag.
This one is good. It says, Woods, me and two of my boys decided that we were going to take our friend Brett to the Padres-Cubs game in September because he's a huge Cubs fan. Well, before we told Brett about it, we had a funny email exchange going back and forth throwing out raunchy ideas for his birthday. Fast forward a week. My friend Vince writes and says that he found great seats for the game. I write back and say, I'm not paying a ton of money for seats and that Brett wouldn't do it for us either, which started a whole string of irritated emails at me. The problem is Vince had added Brett to the email and I didn't notice it. Brett hasn't said a word, but he's reading them. Not sure what to do. M1 Ratchet. Wait, so this guy, Brett, has a birthday. His friends are sending raunchy...
for where they can take him for his birthday? Yeah, and it's all fun and games. It's a joke. They're joking around. They're joking around. And then there's a serious one saying, well, here's the game we should go to. Here's how much it is. Here's how much it'll be. And this guy says no. And this guy, not only does he say no, he says, I'm not going to pay a bunch of money for this. And this guy wouldn't do it for us either. Yeah, Brett wouldn't do it for us. And Brett saw that email? Yes. He got added to the email. Which has happened. And you're basically screwed and you're out. It gets out that you... Feel that way. And there's nothing you can do except apologize to your boy. Right, right. I mean, the thing is, you guys know when we do, sometimes at night we'll do email exchanges and we all start doing bits and it goes forever. By we all, you mean the three of you? Yes, me, Mike, and L.O.B. Jay and Sienna do not. Sienna does not respond. Me, Mike, and L.O.B. will do bits for hours. I will sometimes. I get 45 emails of your bits. She hates it. I've got a job to do. Oh, boy, don't big time us in there. But you're done. Like, he knows that now you're like, oh, great. Well, not only are you a cheapskate, you're kind of a D, too. Yeah, because you think, like, he's like, why are you even taking me somewhere? Yeah, don't even take me somewhere if it's going to be like a big hassle. Yeah, and what are you saying? I would never do that for you. You know, now it's turned into a big thing. Now it's kind of like a personal attack. Yeah. You're like, well, Brett wouldn't do it. You always have to look who's on an email.
Yes. Always have to look who's on an email. Double and triple check. I think he needs to find whatever connection he has to do something awesome for Brad. And find that connection and be like, dude, how about we do this instead? Bam. And he has to turn it back on himself. Be like, I'm the cheapskate. He can go, look, I was having a bad day. My wife's breaking my balls. Whatever. I had a bad day. I'm sorry, dude. That's the best route. I'm freaking sorry. I was a jerk. You can't try it. I want to go to the game with you. You know that. Yeah, because you can't try. That's the best way because if you try to smarm your way out of it. It ain't going to work. It's not going to work. Nope. He's going to know you're being smarmy. Yes. And most people understand it's human nature that we vent sometimes about people. So he just has to totally own up to it. Right. Woods, I work with a guy from England that says sort of for everything. Sort of. English people do do that. Yes. He says it even when it doesn't need to be said. Like, it was sort of dark. Sort of dark. She was sort of lonely. Everything is sort of. He says, I think it's an English thing, but he stands out. Should I tell him that he sounds weird? No. No, it's cute. We can, because we're on the radio. So, English guy.
You sound weird when you say sort of everything. If you're in a sales bullpen with this guy and you're like, hey, dude, enough with the sort of. What if you say, hey, man, I want to teach you about American culture? I think I would. The more I think about it. You don't say that and your tie is ugly. My sister says this is true all the time. This is true. This is true. This is true. And I'm like. And I pointed out to her. And now she's trying to be aware of it. And it's funny because she knows. Oh, my gosh. I say it all the time. But that's a weird thing that she does. But that's your sister. Yeah. It doesn't matter. And it's a weird thing. If this guy's my friend, I'd be like. Don't you want to teach him about American culture? And make it fun. You're not mean about it. Yeah. You're sort of a bee. It's part of who he is. You're sort of a little bee. You just tell me you don't like sort of. Oh, no. Well, I understand what they're saying. I sort of understand because they sort of say it for everything. They do. They do. But it's their thing. It's their thing. It's like telling all of us to stop saying get or feast or hunt. Yes, which people do. No, it's like telling us to stop saying like. Right.
Sort of is something they wish they didn't say probably, but it's a habit. Like Wood says literally all the time. I do? Literally? You literally say it all the time. No, I don't. What about a word like cool? What if we went to England and they were like, you realize that cool is something that you say in America, but we don't say that here. And you sound ridiculous. We describe the weather as cool. I want to know. Cool is different. I'm thinking of like as sort of because that's unnecessary. Cole is still describing something. Sort of is not. Like is not. Exactly. I want someone to tell me. If I was in a different country, I don't want to sound like a dork. I don't. It's charming. It is charming. Sort of charming. Sort of. I like it. I love the British. You're not saying, don't ever say it again, but I would maybe just let him know and make a joke out of it. Just give him an FYI. Leave him alone. Hey, FYI, bro. Literally. Literally, people don't say that as much as you say it. Total lame sauce. It's lame sauce. It's lame sauce. Yeah. And you need to know it. Now, he may, like me, go, well, I think it's lame sauce that you're telling me that. Sort of. And I'm going to lame sauce you up. Then he'll have to second guess everything he says because of you guys. Yeah, he's here from England. You're like, hey, you idiot. Stop saying sort of. You're like, hey, bud. How do you say it? You're having a couple of drinks. And you say, you know, after.
After what? Sorry. Jay was telling me that I need to spill some kombucha in my boy. After work, you go have a cup of drinks and you just say, so are you aware you say sort of? Oh, wow. That makes me so uncomfortable, Sienna. Oh, please. I do it to you all the time and it's fine. You guys are close. I got something that's going to make you uncomfortable. Do you? Arnold Schwarzenegger pardoned a guy that had committed murder and the guy had a dad. that Schwarzenegger worked with. Yep. And now back to The Mikey Show with Mikey. I love guacamole. Lauren. And I'm a clump and an idiot. Woods. I cry more than I watch. Sienna. I would just scream, not because I was sad, just to hear myself scream. And Jay. I like my coffee black. On FM 94.9. All right, so I got to play you this audio of Arnold Schwarzenegger. He got interviewed by KCOW, which is a television station in Los Angeles, by a reporter. who was asking him about why he pardoned this guy named Esteban Nunez. Now, Esteban Nunez is the son of a former assembly speaker who Schwarzenegger knows. So Schwarzenegger didn't want to be asked about it. And this is what happened. Take a listen to this.
This was an Arnold Schwarzenegger you may not have seen in public before. Irritated that I would question him about why he shortened the sentence for the son of a former assembly speaker in a case where a young college student was killed. Schwarzenegger brushed aside my questions, claiming he was bored with them. Good morning, Governor. How are you? Don't ask me the same question, OK, because otherwise you're pouring the hell out of me. Well, I mean, I think a lot of people want to know. Why did you reduce the sentence for Esteban Nunes? That was a snoring sound, emphasizing that Schwarzenegger was bored with the question. What are you going to do, though? I mean, if you're Schwarzenegger, you can't say, oh, well, the reason I did it was because, you know, I know the guy's dad, and so I gave him a break. You can't say that. You have to know it's going to fall back on you. You better have something to say. I read some about that on Saturday or Sunday, and dude. The guy had a 16-year sentence, and he commuted it to seven years. And the crime, I mean, it was murder. He was involved in this murder. I mean, you can't do that. There's no getting around it. What's your excuse? You can't. The excuse I saw was that he said, I just thought it was a little too stiff a penalty. And wouldn't the victim's family love to be so bored with it? Oh, yeah. As you are bored with it. Right. That's just so callous. That's the thing.
I guess the family, they won't even talk about it, man. Oh, my God. They're furious. Yeah, this is Fred Santos, the father of Luis dos Santos, responding to this. I'm not surprised at all for his actions. I'm not surprised that he's not making any comment because, you know, what he did is indefensible. He knows it. He knows that what he did is wrong. It's inexcusable. And he has nothing to say. He can't say. What can he say? There is nothing. There is nothing you can say. I think it's deplorable. No. Really. It's one of those deals where he probably thought, probably. He probably. He probably thought that it wouldn't be public. Yeah, just slip through the cracks. Slip through the cracks. Just an old, you know, back room handshake deal. I mean, dude. That one is one where you got to fast forward the tape. Yes. You know that as soon as a family. The family's going to be furious. They're going to let the world know that they did. The 16 years was probably a slap in the face to them when they lost their son. And then to get that 16 years cut to seven is ridiculous. Gary Busey is on The Apprentice, Celebrity Apprentice. He will not be hired by Omaha Steaks to be their spokesperson.
Anytime soon. Because when he tried to give a presentation on Omaha Steaks, he didn't do him any favors. The anniversary meal is a loving connection for soulmates. It's a time when you get together and remember when you fell in love for the first time. The anniversary meal, because of the flavor and the power of the Omaha Steak in your stomach and on your taste buds and after you eat, the digestion is clean. The digestion is clean. It's incredible. It's a selling point. You poop in a way that is so incredible that it will go through your digestion system and it is coming with almost all steaks. It's clean. Look in the eyes of the anniversary partner and see in the eyes the love you have. The anniversary partner. And they'll say, I love you. And what condition that moment of love was what they ate. And what they ate in the anniversary meal. What is it? Omaha Steaks. Say it together. One, two, three. Omaha Steaks. Why the pause? Don't forget that. If you forget it, I'm going to come get you and take out your garbage for a week. Okay? I would do anything to hang out with that guy for an afternoon. Anything. Why the pause? Omaha Steaks. It's memorable. Omaha Steaks. You need that extra breath. Yeah. Omaha Steaks. Breathe. Go.
Omaha states. I probably think of Busey every time I see an Omaha state. 100%. Omaha. Is there a new sea otter at SeaWorld or something? They rescued an otter and they've named him Otto. It was a five-month-old sea otter and he was rescued on Monterey Beach and he was underweight and suffering from parasites. Oh, just like me. What? Or not. So... He had a bit of a rough start, but they've nursed him back to health at SeaWorld, and so it was a big online poll on his name. I'm the opposite of the otter. I'm overweight and don't have parasites. Agreed. He's underweight and does have parasites. That's the difference. Do you guys want to know his new name? Clover. Why? Clover? That was the winning name. Oh, because he's lucky. The names were Kelly Clover and Molly, and Clover won. I wonder if he was found on St. Patrick's Day or something.
What a boy's lucky. He's lucky. He's lucky to be alive. He might have AIDS. L.O.B. More than likely. L.O.B., will you ever live that down? Do you think? Percentage of chance. This could be her Baba Booey. L.O.B. lives that down. This is like the time I called King Kong Hong Kong. Hong Kong. And Matt will not let that go. Did you know that movie Hong Kong? I said it again in Kauai because they filmed it there. And so I was like, oh, they filmed like Jurassic Park, Hong Kong. Wait, listen, my wife is going to kill me. I'm going to tell you this story, but I'm going to tell you this story. It's an LOB moment. We're at the airport in Hawaii. She's going to kill you because you're revealing an LOB moment. Yes. Who's that worse for? For me. We're at the airport. We're going through security. And they've got pictures, framed pictures on the wall of 9-11. Three of them. One of them is the, you know, the very now infamous fireman holding up, putting up the flag. Very infamous, right? Get you.
And then they've got another one and it's a framed. Right now, I know she's listening. She's like, don't you do it. You SOB. Don't do it. So there's this one and it's the two towers draped in the American flag. And in between that is like you can kind of see superimposed a picture, another picture. And I said, I looked at these three photographs and I go, wow. That's very powerful. And it's a good idea for them to put that there because I bet they run into a lot of people that are like, why do we have to do this? And why do we have to blah, blah, blah, blah, blah? That's why we have to do it. That's why we do it. Zip your lip. And she looks at one of the pictures and she goes, wow. She goes, that's kind of controversial, that one. And I go, which one? She goes, is that Jesus that they've superimposed? And I go, no, hon, that's the Statue of Liberty. I love you, Rebecca. It's okay. An honest mistake. Don't even. An honest mistake. L.O.B. is mortified. Anyone would have done that? Nature of Liberty is a woman. She was, you know, they both have long-ish hair. No, they don't. I'm trying to defend her. Nature of Liberty has a crown on. Yeah, and a torch. And a torch. Yeah, and she thought it was like the crown of thorns. And it was sort of like, you know. I can see. Jesus is.
The thing he always holds. The son of God. The son of God always has that torch in his hand. She was just excited to be in Hawaii. She wasn't really thinking about it. She was making conversation. She thought it was controversial that they shaved Jesus' face. Is that what she thought was kind of weird? And made him a woman. And gave him a torch and a giant crown. And holding something in this other hand. And then he looked like the guy outside the tax consultant. And then he was saying, give us your tire, give us your pour. And she thought she maybe mistook him for a very famous statue given to us by the French. Poor Rebecca. An inanimate person. I could just see her face after you said that. Ever do that? Nope. I know. We all do it. Let me tell you something. I took the opportunity. Then and now you took the opportunity. She said it and I go, mm-mm, babe. And I did it like you would. I'm like, that's a Statue of Liberty. Statue of Liberty. There's no worse feeling when someone calls you out on something so bad. Throw a slick in there, too. They love that. Easy slick.
Yeah, I have a screw loose to go in for that sort of thing. Call 570-19. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. I got the world by the tail. If I told you my grandma used to give me mother's cookies, I'd be lying. She didn't exactly give them to me. She was far craftier than that, which is why I loved her. She had this whole method. She'd plant some circus animal cookies on her dresser, and then she'd send me on a decoy mission to go get something for my quote-unquote forgetful old grandmother. Then... To distract mom, she'd create a diversion. To buy me some time, she'd really milk it, too. So I could pop the cookies in my mouth and quietly let the pink frosting dissolve on my tongue. It was all kind of genius, or at least I thought it was, until my mom became a grandma herself. A crafty grandma. That's when I realized that mom was in on it all along. So am I. And my daughter thinks the whole thing is just awesome.

In fact, we'll play this for you now, but we have to play it again tomorrow. It's a hockey announcer for a junior hockey league. A junior hockey league. Maybe the greatest flip out for a junior hockey league ever. Wow is right. Wow. Sweet man. Junior hockey league. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
The Maniacs take the lead. Weird. I wonder why they're called the Maniacs. Yeah, no kidding. Oh, that's incredible. Is that a prepubescent man or an adult? That is a grown man. That is a grown man. Very excited about the Junior Hockey League scoring a goal in the final seconds. Say the Maniacs took the lead. Yeah. My guess is that's probably the best thing going on in that town. The biggest thing. I think you're probably right. Yes. I think that's fair to say. Chances that town is somewhere in Canada. Yes, or maybe upstate New York. Chances that it's freezing where they live, and there's one general store there. It is Canada. It is Canada. Incredible. It is a junior hockey league, and he was excited. How did he go to sleep? Oh, he knows. Five hours later. You think when he was done, he goes, that was probably a little bit much. I probably went a little, probably got a little carried away there. That poor guy has to listen to that audio. Oh, yeah. And all his buddies. Forever. And when he walks down the street, his buddies are like, yeah!
His wife is like, it wasn't that bad. Do you think he has voicemails from his friends going, was it kids playing? Junior hockey league. I think junior league is. I think his son or daughter was on the team. I'm guessing like 12. I think a little older. For some reason, I think Julie's a little older. Junior, I would believe, would be middle school. But still. Still, it doesn't matter. Unless it's professional hockey, game seven of the Stanley Cup, there's no reason for that reaction at all. Even game seven of the world hockey Stanley Cup. No way. The guys from the Red Wings that just won the Cup are like, dude, we're not even that excited. It's great.
I want to know how you get to sleep that night. He was fired. You lay down in bed and your heart is still shaking. I can't stop. I'm telling you, he's laying in bed and he went, oh no. I've been there. We've all done it. I've laid in bed and went. He's a tax attorney by day. He's got to go in tomorrow. He's like. Hey, Bill. Did you guys catch the game? That poor guy. It was a hell of a game. Did you listen to him? You're in the break room. You're like, hey, Bill, how you doing? Great game last night. There's hockey parks taped to his desk. He walks in, okay, get it out. They put a little net in his team. The timer. How about this?
How about your, it's all cubicles, right? He's in his cubicle. It's totally quiet. And somebody presses play on the tape deck. The loudspeaker. They go. Very funny. Go. It's incredible. I play it every day. You're sitting in cubicles. It's completely quiet. And somebody goes. Go. Hey, Bill, do you want to go to lunch today? His secretary is like, hey, Bill, your 1030 is going to be here with two seconds. Holy cow. I love it. It's fantastic. Oh, boy. It's fantastic. It's a very genuine reaction. Oh, for sure. Very real. Very real moment. Very real moment. I've seen the Yanks win the World Series. I didn't get that fired up. George Steinbrenner. No, he didn't get that fired up. Didn't get that fired up. Very cheater.
Hillary, how are you? You just got to be tired. Barely recovered. Yeah. When did you come back? I got back around 6 o'clock last night. I worked yesterday. I was on the air out there at Coachella, noon to 3, and then hit the road. It was funny, too, because we have it scheduled, the interviews, all the bands that are going to be stopping by, you know, but it's... There's so many variables out there that bands are always running late. Sometimes they're early, so you just have to be prepared. I was supposed to interview She Wants Revenge and The Kills and who else yesterday? Oh, The National. And they were going to be like... 2, 2.30, 2.45 was their arrival. And, you know, it's 2.15 and no one has called. We don't know where any of the bands are. 2.30. I'm supposed to be done at 3 o'clock and I want to hit the road. It's been a long weekend. I want to go see my daughter. So, 2.55. The Kills roll in. The National come in, like, at the same time. And they're like, she wants revenge on their way here. And I said...
Hi, guys. I felt kind of bad, but I was like, here's my notes. Did you do the move that a card dealer does at the casino when they're checking out and the new dealer? Yes. I would have done a fake phone call and been like, what? No. Well, I'm supposed to get off at 3. Is it? Okay, I'm good. I'm good to go. I'm out. And they were fine. It was all good. But I was just like, please, can I just leave? Because I knew if I started one interview, I would have been there for another hour. You and Tommy blew me away with all the knowledge you guys have in the band. Oh, it's ridiculous. Dropping some knowledge. It's really fun out there, but it is like work, stress. Sounds like it. All those interviews, one after another. Especially when you're a little hungover. Oh, Jay. Yeah, Woods can talk about that. Can I? You got a live one here. That's what I said. My goodness. I did not get us pulled over, by the way, though. I think you did. I wasn't the only one. I was the one that got us out of it. You got us out of it, but I didn't get us into it. What did he do to get him pulled over? Well, it was collectively a bad decision, but I was...
super hungover on friday so i wasn't drinking at coachella friday night my husband has a big truck so we um there was uh too many of us to fit inside the truck on the way back yes and it was kind of a far walk so uh garrett woodsy at no jamie jamie and no jeremy travis was in the truck anyhow four Adults were in the back of the truck. And Garrett had plenty to drink. Woodsy, I mean, had been cocktailing the whole time. So I was like, I don't know about this, guys. I'm a little nervous. But they're like, come on. And Garrett was like, just try. Just do it. Just go. Do it. He was like, okay, if I get a ticket, we're all splitting it. We'll pay for it. You know what I mean? Yeah. So we pull out of the parking lot and there are police everywhere. Like directing traffic. A motorcycle cop pulls. My heart is racing. Motorcycle cop pulls up next to us.
Doesn't even acknowledge it. Doesn't say anything. There's four drunk adults in the back of this truck, right? And then there's another officer like directing traffic. And I was like, I am so busted. You know, thank God I was completely sober. I was like, at least I have that on my side. So he like guides us through. Okay, your turn to make a left. I'm like, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God. And he lets us go. Just keep driving. Doesn't mention, doesn't say a thing, doesn't even flinch. So we're almost to this house that we're staying at. We just have to make one more right. Again, there's cops on every corner directing traffic. And I'm like, okay, I think we're going to be all right. Make the right. Start going. There's the lights in the back. But we didn't do anything to warrant being pulled over. Well, because you guys, well, except yelling, I fingered you. Oh, well. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Well, that just happened. Not at him. And he's like, I didn't do anything. You can, I didn't do anything to be, I didn't do any crime. I didn't.
You can do that all you want, but I didn't do any crime. So they were trying to lay down to like hide. But knees were poking up and stuff. My knees. So we got pulled over and I'm totally panicking. I've never seen Hillary panic. Oh, I bet. I bet. Yeah, I would be. Well, and he has the bright light. The gun. Yeah. Oh, so he gets he's first on the loudspeaker going. Show me your hands. Get out of the car. This is great. I forgot this. And I was like, oh my God. You know, I'm like. like this little sweet little mama. I don't do, you don't get in trouble. Completely sober. Yeah, sober. My boss is in the back of the truck. I was like, are you kidding me? And so he yells it again. He's like screaming through the loudspeaker. So I open the door. Why don't you get out of your car with your hands up? You're in. Oh my God. This is great though. He goes, get out of the car. Yeah. So I stick my hands out and start putting my feet out and he goes, get back in the car. She's like, I don't know what to do.
Okay, okay. So I get back in. He gets out. He's holding his gun. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, out. Oh, my gosh. And he comes walking up to my side of the truck, and he's like, what do you think you're doing? And I was like, sir, I just tried to be super humble, and I was so scared. And I just said, you know, I just wanted to drive them. We live right here. Like, I'm just taking them back from the show. And he gave me this whole, like, How would you feel if a drunk driver hit you guys and they all got killed? And I was like... There's no way you can go more than one mile an hour is how much traffic. I mean, there's... We were in a standstill the whole way. Yeah, it was like, you know, and I knew it was a bad decision, but I, and so I just said. Why don't you just get back here with us and have a couple of props? Hey, what are you working orders for? Hey, you want to see my guy? Have you heard of Freelance Whales record? I got an advanced copy. It was classic. Get back here and give me a hug. Hillary got us out. Hillary got us out of any trouble. Yes, he was.
All right. Then he went back, waving his gun, talked to them, got him out of the truck, and we made it home without a ticket. Reach for the sky, honky. Yes, dude. It was. Wow. It was not one of my proudest moments. Well, last year we had the rickshaw. This year we got the cop pulled over. There's always something. Always something. It's a blast. What do you have coming up next? Oh, goodness. Leaky Lee's new one, new foos, death cavern cutie, new incubus, and I'll get on Kings of Leon who headlined Friday night. Coachella, we're really good. There you go. Big weekend. Lovely and talented Hillary's up next. Enjoy the rest of your day. We'll see you tomorrow morning at 6. Mikey shows out late. Financial media is the music all day and night. It's about the music.
