Later, the crew previewed the upcoming Run King Run segment in which Jay would appear shirtless with a crown and scepter while answering royal trivia under airsoft gun fire, followed by a science demonstration where Jay built a homopolar motor with magnets and batteries. The program also covered the NFL draft commissioner being booed, David Letterman's accusation that Donald Trump is racist, an autism awareness segment featuring Mikey's son Jake, and a debunking of coconut water health claims.

Make some noise in the studio audience in here today. And I was up this morning. I get up every morning at 1 o'clock in the morning and turn on the TV and watch the Little Royals. Wow, that's so great. The NFL draft was last night. You didn't check on that? Watched some of that. Did you? Yeah. You didn't check on that first thing this morning? No, because, you know, the draft, unlike the Royal family, it happens every year. And this is historic. It doesn't happen every day. It's history unfolding right before my eyes. Woods, when my children get older enough to understand, I'll wake them up in the middle of the night if something like that happens. I'll say, look, it's history. I want you to see it. Yeah, I mean, I'll wake my kids up for, like, Haley's Comet and stuff like that. The royal wedding is a huge deal. Yeah, the ladies all over the world. Absolutely. That's not true. It's a huge deal. It's a big deal to gay guys, too. Gay man. Oh, I love it. Yes. Kate looked amazing. She did. Did you get up, Jay?
I did not. I've recorded it. But I've been watching it all morning. Yeah, don't ruin it for me. Don't let me know what happens. We're letting you know everything. What kind of a royaler are you? What kind of a royalist? One who likes sleep. I guess. Well, welcome to the program. It's the Mikey Show on a very historic day where a lot of rich white people get together in London. And I say a lot of rich white people because I didn't see a lot of Latinos. But, you know, what are you going to do? It was like a sea of pink faces. It was. Rosy cheeks. Yes. So I am Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Woodsy is our sports guy. And Woodsy's 35 years old. The blonde to my right is Lauren O'Brien, otherwise known as L.O.B., 30 years of age. And how into the royal... thing are you on a scale of 1 to 10 LOV? Definitely a bandwagon jumper. I'm on now. In the past two days. My friend is from England and she lives in San Marcos and I might go watch the whole thing over again at her house on Saturday night. That'd be cool. Sienna's very into it. She is 26 years of age and has felt that she may have in another life.
lived in Buckingham Palace. Yes. Because you've visited Buckingham Palace once. I've always kind of felt it. Oh, you've never visited? Even as a young child, I felt something's going on there. Then I visited London when I was 20 and stood outside Buckingham Palace and I was like, oh yeah, I've been in there before. A few times. You knew where the coffee tables were. It just struck a certain part of my brain, which is never... Something's going on, yeah. And so, especially with the royal wedding, I'm really into it because I feel like I know them. Yeah. Jay is our producer. He's 47 years of age. And just an interesting note about Jay, still wearing the wristbands that he had at Coachella. Yep. Wish I could cut them off. Two weeks ago. No way. Memories. 14-year-olds cut theirs off a week ago. Yeah. I chewed mine off on the drive home. Yeah. I've actually removed the little plastic pieces and tied it in a knot. They'll be there for a while. Now, Jay, can you explain this phenomenon to us? Well, you know, it was good times. It was good times. You want to remember it? It's like a necklace you'd get in Hawaii or if it's a Tommy Bahama shirt. But you know what? I would take the necklace off eventually, I think. I don't know.
Yeah. How long will you keep those on? I think they'll just stay on until they fall off. Until they're biodegradable and they fall off. That's right. When I was in middle school, we used to go skiing a lot. Yeah. And when I lived in Connecticut, and we used to keep the ski tags on our jacket to be like, look how many times I've been up this year. Right. And you'd be like, man, dude, you've been skiing. Yeah. What's up? There'd be guys with big stacks on them. That's Jake. No indifference is. He's 47. Yes. I think that's why he's wearing it. Be like, look, I'm cool. I'm young. I went to Coachella. See that Coachella? No, I always would do something. I had something from Woodstock when I went as well. Yeah. The original. The original Woodstock. Yeah. He was at the coronation for Abraham Lincoln. That was a big deal. Kept those wristbands. Kept that pamphlet. So, anyway. Yeah, the royals got married this morning. Very big deal. And a lot of pomp and circumstance. And got to watch a little bit of that. It was very interesting. And, you know, it's just a good time. I have lots of stuff to tell you about it. If you're interested. Prince William and Catherine Middleton. Her name is no longer Kate. And the weirdest thing is, is they've changed the spelling of her name because it was Kate with a K. Now it's Catherine with a C.
Oh, really? What? Yeah, so Prince William and Catherine Middleton are now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. What? Why is it? How come she's not the Princess of Wales? I don't know. I don't understand. Their official title right now is the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. That's my title, so that's not a big issue. I know. 29 years old, Catherine Middleton. She wore a fitted white V-neck gown with a long-sleeved lace overlay. Because there's lots of rules they have to obey. Being royal, having the wedding, you have to have certain, you know... dress code rules. And also that's why they're having it on Friday during the middle of the day. It's something about that. They have so many rules. But I have some numbers here about the wedding. Please. I want to know. Let me give you your royal music. Okay, thank you. I need it. They're expecting 2 billion viewers to tune in to watch this wedding this morning. Meaning people all over the world woke up to watch this. 2 billion. 50 million British pounds in revenue were spent on paraphernalia, celebrity favors, stuff like that. $34 million is the estimated price of the big day, the wedding today. 1.1 million tourists estimated to be visiting London for today, just for the wedding. 600,000 spectators are estimated to line the Westminster Abbey of Buckingham Palace, which I believe, I mean, if you look at the TV, there's...
Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people. It's amazing. They're still showing a live feed, I think, on ABC. They haven't started rerunning it yet. And I think they will. I think they'll start to rerun all the proceedings at 7 a.m. our time. Do you have any guesses? No, no, wait. No, I do think that they're rerunning it. I think they're rerunning it. Yeah, we're looking at it. They'll be rerunning. Yeah, this is old. This is before the wedding on right now. Yeah, I saw this happen when it happened live. Yes. Bragger. They'll be rerunning this all day. Any guesses on how much your engagement ring actually costs? Probably $1,000 at least. Tens of twenties of dollars. $398,000. $398,000. Just like the one I got Kim. Yeah. $398,000. Oh, yes. 28,000 tulips were in front of Buckingham Palace. 10,000 flowers decorating the palace as well. Other flowers. 8,000 security cameras were installed. 550,000 street parties estimated took place in celebration of the wedding. 5,000 security personnel on site. 1,900 guests. 1,700 rich tea biscuits. I mean, I can continue on and on and on. You know what I heard Barbara Walters do?
I was watching it, you know. Lisp, lisp. Yes. Right after they get married, they get into the carriage. Yes. And she goes, on a more somber note, the carriage is being driven by a group of carriage widers, but one of the carriage widers is actually a Secret Service person who is armed. I'm sure, yeah. And I'm like, thanks for blowing his cover. Yeah, right. Seriously. What are you just reading off WikiLeaks? The third one from the left. From the white. Yes, everyone's from the left. He is the one. So if you're a sniper, you know where to shoot. This one really strikes me. How many tiaras she chose from Kate Middleton, Catherine Middleton. I thought a tiara is the thing that goes around like.
It's the thing that says Miss America like the ribbon. What's a tiara? That's a sash. Tiara is the crown. She chose from 80 tiaras. Oh. 80 tiaras. What makes you want one? Well, I know that Princess Di, it's really important which one they choose because it's all in the family. I know that Princess Di had a splitting headache her entire wedding because of what she chose to wear. She's hungover. She's like you with crowns, Mikey. Yes, it's like me with crowns. Or scepters. Or scepters. Cloaks. Cloaks. Hey, speaking of that, Jay is going to do something this morning at 8.30. called Run King Run. Now, what we're going to do is we're going to put Jay in a royal cape, a royal robe. That's one of yours. And then we're going to put, are we going to put a crown on you? Yeah. He's got a scepter. He's got a scepter. He does. And we're going to ask him questions about the royal wedding and about the royals in general.
If he gets them wrong, we fire away with airsoft guns. Did you mention that he's going to be shirtless? Oh, that's right. He is going to be shirtless. With a cloak over it. Oh, wow. That's going to be phenomenal. And that will take place this morning at 8.30. I cannot wait. Jay's very busy this morning because we're also doing the old man that does Science 7. Makes me nervous because he does some sort of experiment. And I always worry that we'll get fired. And then we're going to play Let's. Today, let's play hockey. Why not? So we'll play hockey at 7.30. Smashburger coming in today. Smash, sizzle, savor. They got their downtown location opening on May 27th, which is a Friday. It's on Market Street. And they already have locations in La Jolla and Del Mar and Mission Valley. Smash burgers for real. Yeah. It's tasty. They're legit. And they got a regional menu, regional flavors. And in addition to all the really good burgers and all that stuff, they also have smash chicken sandwiches. I need my chicken. Smash dogs, smash salads. And, you know, they're good, man. I want to eat some of them chitlin.
I love pig's feet. Well, they don't have that. They don't necessarily have chitlins and pig's feet, but they do have the burgers and the chicken burgers and all that stuff. It's a good time. Last night was the NFL draft, and we picked 18th by we, I mean the San Diego Chargers. With the 18th pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the San Diego Chargers select Corey Leggett, defensive end, Illinois. Fired up in the powder blue. We begin to see some Big Ten players go off the board. J.J. Watt being the first. A couple picks to go. Ryan Kerrigan became the latest Redskin. And now Corey Leggett goes from champagne to cracking some. He's a new San Diego Charger. Nice. The first time I put tape on of this young man, I didn't expect to see the player that he is. Now Corey Leggett to me is the ideal free technique. But he can make plays all over the field. And like Marshall said, he will push the pocket off the tackle just as well. He's a big, physical, tough guy. I like him in a four-man front, but his ability to get to the quarterback is phenomenal. It's great. It's a great pick, man. The more I read up on him and looked at some film of him last night, he's pretty beastly. Corey Legit? Corey Legit.
Probably the best thing about Corey Legion is they asked him, hey, how are you planning to help the Chargers? And he said, quote, keep my mouth closed as a rookie and show them I'm here to win football games. I love that. Isn't that great? It's all you want to hear. Gotta love that. It's all you want to hear. I'm stoked to be moving San Diego. Yeah, moving from Champaign, Illinois, which is an armpit. I've been there. No offense. There are very few things that I really look forward to, and the NFL draft's always been one of them. Probably about seven years in a row, I would actually go to the draft in New York. So I've seen the draft go from Madison Square Garden. I've seen it at the Javits Center. And I've seen it at where it is now at Radio City. And so I love it. And I would get, you know, Saturday mornings, I would get up. I would have these nerdy draft guides that I got. And I would write the draft down as it was going. Don't know why. What am I going to do with it? But the draft is always a big deal to me. And so last night, Rebecca was telling me a really important, well, not important. Rebecca was telling me a story. And I had to interrupt her because ESPN was on behind her. And I wasn't going to watch the draft in the bedroom. I was going to watch the draft downstairs on the big screen. And they had a timer until the draft began. The timer said six and a half minutes. She's telling me this story. And I said, hey, babe.
I have to interrupt you. I said, the draft starts in six and a half minutes, and I don't want to be rude, but I want you to know that I want to see that when it starts. And she knows how I am about the draft. She goes, oh, yeah, yeah, no problem. So she's telling the story, and it gets down, and I look, and it's two and a half minutes until the draft. And so I got up, and I said, well, can you walk with me? And she goes, yeah. So she's walking with me, and I'm getting dressed, and she's talking as I'm walking. Time's up. I got to, you know. Got to cut you off. Time's up. I got to get down there. Yeah. And so, you know, today I guess I'll hear the end of the story. It was a good story, though, babe. I really enjoyed it. Good lead-in. Good lead-in. This was phenomenal. Never seen this happen in the history of ever watching the draft. The commissioner being booed when he introduced the draft. I agree with you. I hear you. Me too.
Pretty awesome. People are going to lose their minds if they take away football. Pretty awesome. Now, did that come from a different clip or is that the one that is on here? No, I found one this morning that was with the chant. That's the one that I really liked. Got it. You have the other one. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. I've never, ever, ever experienced that. When they announced the commission. It's always applause. Cheers. Oh, man. I hear you. Now, I'm going to tell you. I don't know if he thought about it beforehand, but he looked surprised. He did. He looked surprised. Like, okay, all right. Well, this is not what I expected. He looked, I mean, he went from, you know, because I've seen a million times. When he comes out, it's an exciting night. He comes out all excited. They start booing, and he was like, poor guy. All right, guys. I hear you. By the way, it was easier to chant we want football than get the collective bargaining agreement done. Yeah. So they went with we want football because that was easier. Me too. See what they want? Just uncomfortable. The most uncomfortable. Oh my gosh. Who's the one guy that starts that chant? Oh. They had to have planned it. Oh yeah, it was planned. I bet it was. They have it down. Gosh. I've been on the streets.
of Manhattan before they let people in. It looks like the cantina scene in Star Wars. Yep. A bunch of Giants and Jets fans. Yeah. Losing their minds. And Philly fans. Philly fans. Because they drive in. Yep. And so all you hear is, yeah, you guys freaking suck. What's near you? They're all talking back and forth to each other. Eagles suck. Oh, really? About your guy. How many rings you got. And that's all you hear. Just screaming and cursing up and down the street for four hours before they let him in. And then they go in and curse. Oh, boy. A lot of cursing. That's pretty awesome. Before we get started, let's all take a moment. Guys, just a sec. Before we get started tonight, let's take a serious moment here. I hear you. Do you? Do you?
Let's take a serious moment to just reflect on how good we've been to the fans. Anyway, that was it. I don't know how many rounds they got through last night. They got through one round. First round was last night. First pick was Cam Newton to the Carolina Panthers. As soon as Coach Rivera called me, it put a warmth in my heart knowing that this deal is done and my job to some degree and my work has paid off. Yeah, it's always exciting, man, the first guy taken. I got to tell you, man, there was a couple real surprise moves, but one that I was really, I thought was pretty cool. You know who the Detroit Lions drafted? Who? Nick Fairley out of Auburn. Think about this next year. Indomitian Sioux, Nick Fairley, Vanden Bosch, their line, their defensive line is going to be filthy. And the cool thing about Fairley is the guy's kind of a head case, kind of aloof. Uh-huh.
Not playing next to those guys. They're going to be like, hey, you need to S or get off the pot, pal. Like right now. What do you mean? He's kind of a D. So the other guys will make him. They'll get him. Yeah. He won't have a choice but to be great. Yeah. Because of the guys that he plays around. Their line in Detroit will be filthy. Wow. Those are, Indomitian Sue and Nick Fairley together on the line is legendary. Yeah. Could be. Yeah, could be. Could be. That's pretty awesome. There were some crazy moves, though, man. Crazy moves. I watched almost the whole first round, and it was awesome. Who do you think had the best draft? Well, I mean, it depends, man. There's a lot of playmakers that took it. I mean, I can tell you really who I thought had the worst draft. Minnesota picked Christian Ponder, who's not that good a quarterback. They picked him at 7. No, I'm sorry. They picked him at 11. No, no, no, no. Hold on. I got it right here. 12. He's just not that good of a quarterback. He played at Florida State. When they picked him, people were like, holy cow. Well, it always makes you wonder, why did you not think you could get that guy later? Later, right. Gabrielle Gifford watched her husband lift off today in the space shuttle. Yes, Endeavor. It launched today, this morning, and she was there.
Thumbs up and all. Here you go, Lauren and Woods. There you go. Yes, she made the flight from Houston to Florida. This is the first time she's been out of a hospital, but she got the doctors okay. Woods is holding up Ella V's thumb because she can't hold up her thumb herself. Whatever. You know, she would have wanted him to go, and she supports her husband, and she's glad that he was able to be there. You should ask her. Oh, my God. Gabrielle was, I mean. Isn't that right? Didn't you support your husband's decision to go? See? Exactly. Now, that means yes, she did. Now, obviously, she's not going to be back to her absolute 100%, but she's doing great. Right. Gabrielle, what did you think of the launch? That's good, though. When you think about it, I think that that's a good thing, and I think it's progress. Very much. It's a journey, and it's a marathon. It's not a sprint. It's been close to four months. She's recovering. I think she's doing great. She doesn't have a bullet in her.
She took one in the head. She did. Not long ago. So he should just give everything up. Yeah. No, not everything. No, everything. Yeah, because it's what he trained his entire life for. The last shuttle ever. Never. Not the last shuttle ever. For that one. The next one will be the last shuttle. Ever. It is. They're shutting it down. NASA's just closing its doors. No, this is for this, you know, Endeavor. It's Endeavor's last flight. And he's the commander of it. And he actually said... I can't give this up. I've got to figure out a way to get back into space after this. I guess so. Pretty crazy. Last night, one of the big talk show hosts said Donald Trump's a racist. Then got into a conversation with their producer saying, he's booked on this show. How come I didn't know he was booked on this show? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We'll play the audio next. Don't forget our Independence Jam that is going on at FM 94.9 Independence Jam. The Coastal Invasion 2011 is going on out at the Oceanside Amphitheater. Cold War Kids, Leaky Lee, Peter Bjorn and John, Band of Skulls, Haberist. It's on June 5th. That's right. Tickets are going to be gone soon, so I'd get them. Get them. So it was David Letterman who said it. Apparently he has very strong feelings about what's been going on with Donald Trump being a birther. Birther, of course, somebody that says that Barack Obama was not born in the United States and he was making a big deal out of it. And so David Letterman said this last night.
Now, all of a sudden, this stuff about the birth certificate, okay, all right, let's just get over that. But then this nonsense about, oh, how did he get into Harvard? How did he get into Columbia? Well, I'd like to see his grades from Occidental. How was he able to write such a memoir? Well, then that's taking on a whole different point of view as far as I'm concerned. Well, maybe it's a business strategy. I didn't hear that Trump was asking about his school, about his blah, blah, blah. He wants to see his grades. What? Yes. He did? Oh, yeah. That's weird. Yes. It's like, where does it end? Right. When did you hear that? It's been all over the news. It has? Yeah. When did it begin? I think the first time I saw it, I think it was Monday. Really? Yeah. Somebody on Facebook had said something, so I went and looked and saw that. It was pretty interesting. Wow. He wants to take the White House condo. I mean... He could make this a lobby, go up 50 floors. But do you know what I'm talking about? I mean, other people are not abused by this tactic. It's all fun. It's all a circus. It's all a rodeo until it starts to smack of racism. And then it's no longer fun. So you thought it was racist? Well, yes.
Because of the implication that he couldn't have gotten into Harvard any other way? I have heard enough really smart people discuss this to convince me that, yes, that is very, very insulting. Yeah. Well, yeah, it is. It's very insulting, yeah. I don't know if it's racist, but, I mean, Barack Obama's white. I don't know why it's racist. He's not white. He's a mixed race. Well, he's just as much white as he is black. Yeah. He's 50%. I'm very... Proud of myself. He's 50% Caucasian, so if we say that he's black, we have to also say that he's white. I think some people were offended by that. Unless, of course, we want to be racist and say that just because he looks a certain way, he is a certain thing, which is racist. Yeah, I do. That would be like saying that I look like I'm Middle Eastern, in which case I could say, oh my, that is so racist, I'm Hispanic. I am not racist. I am not Middle Eastern. I am Hispanic. Which, by the way, someone thought that I was Middle Eastern one time. What am I going to do? Call them out on being racist? That's what they thought. They looked at me, that's what they thought. We live in a world that's so politically correct that we can pull the racism card when it works for us, but we can't pull the racism card when it doesn't work for us. Who's pulling the racism card? He is. Letterman is.
He's saying that it's a racist thing. He's the most black president we've ever had. Yeah. Okay. Is he only non-all-white president we've ever had? Okay. That's a true fact as well. So he is the first black president. Yes. Right. Yes. He's not the first white president. Nope. But he is white. And he is black. Yes. He is both. Right. Yeah. What I think is goofy is that we... are still, like, it's 2011, and we're still talking about it. Well, what I think is goofy is that the guy's been in office already, and we're like, see your grades. Yeah. I mean, that's the good thing. Well, we're not. Well, we're, you know, people are. Well, it sounds like Donald Trump did. He's not racist. He's Trumpist. He thinks, like, anyone that's, everyone's less than him. Yeah. Like, he wants to know how anyone can be even on his level. Right. He's douchiest. Somebody wrote the other day, they said, they said, oh, we're going to listen to a guy that has three bankruptcies tell us how to run our country and how to manage our country's money. I mean, that made sense to me. That clicked in my brain as, oh, yeah, keep running your mouth. You know what I mean? I never really thought that anyone took Trump seriously. You know, for a variety of reasons, that's one of them. The other one is because of his hair. I thought that a lot of people didn't take him seriously.
Honestly, I thought that a lot of people didn't take him seriously because of his hair. I'm being honest. What about the fact that he hosts Celebrity Apprentice? And then I was going to say, and then the last reason that I didn't think that people took him seriously was because of that. Maybe Jeff Probst should run next year. Host a survivor. I'd vote for him. I do. I would take his daughter seriously. Who? Trump's daughter. I'd take her seriously, too. You just winked at me, which was weird. That was uncomfortable. So, like I said, it's all fun until you cross that line. So the question is, you know Donald Trump. In fact, do you consider him to be a racist? Well, yes, I do, Dave. I'm glad you asked. I do. You know, probably the biggest racist, other than David Duke, that I've ever known. Well, and I know a couple of Grand Dragons, and he's not as racist as them. But I will say this. Most of the time it's hard to understand what he's saying because I can't hear him through his head. And then the other thing is, is that he's constantly rolling on a white horse. It's the only way I've ever seen him. Wearing a Klan uniform. So I hope that thoroughly answers your question. Now that's sad.
He's my favorite racist friend that I do have. And richest. Yes. He's the richest, racist friend that's got a reality show that I've ever met. Except for Oprah. Throws a hell of a party. Except for Oprah. Oprah is also my racist, rich reality show friend. Correct. Well, how can you say things like that if you're not a racist? Well, I don't think he always thinks everything through. Oh. Oh. I'm not sure he sat down and said, let's see how this could be spun. Now, this happened last night. So the countdown is on. Yes. Just going to ask you. The countdown is on for Trump to begin the adultery attack. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I was going to ask you, chances that D. Trump responds to this? This morning. This is what's going to shock you. He's scheduled to be on Letterman's show. Ooh. Listen to this. Is this a booking you're happy with, that Trump's going to be here on May 18th? Are you happy about that? I discuss things. Yeah, but I mean, are we eager to book somebody who has the appearances and the appendages of a racist? I'm eager for you to call him on it. Huh?
I'd like you to call him on it. Did you call him? No. Why do I have to do the heavy lifting? I'm wondering when this was booked. When was this booked, by the way? It might have been before you called him a booed racist. Please, please. Please, no leading the jury. Wouldn't you get sued somebody if they call you racist? Defamation? Defamation. I don't know. When was this book? I'm just guessing. Weeks ago. weeks ago. Alright, so we'll get him on and I'm going to say, Donald, you're a racist. Don't do that and he better apologize. Yeah. And I'm going to say that you're an adulterer and you shouldn't do that. Like he's going to apologize. I know. There's no way. Weird. The whole thing's really weird. That's uncomfortable. Sienna wishes that she were in... London right now, and she's probably said it no less than half a dozen times this morning. I'm struggling this morning to focus. I'm really jealous. You want to be there experiencing it all. Yeah, I feel like I'm really missing out. The TV's not good enough. I want to be there. It looks so bright and sunny and happy. I want to be partying with him. I want to be on the dance floor with Catherine. Oh, me too. Just having a great time.
It'd be so fun. I desperately want to know why she's called the Duchess of Cambridge. And I want to know why she's not called Princess Kate or Catherine. Plus eight. Yeah, Princess Kate plus eight. Isn't Camilla something of Wales? I don't know if you can have two of Wales. I don't know. Camilla, I believe is princess. Yeah, she has to be. I know that Camilla will never be queen. That thought come to your mind when you think of Camilla? When you see Barbara Walters, do you think princess? No. Well, she's married to the prince, so that would make her princess. Well, Diana was princess of Wales, and then she got booted and Camilla got in. She would be princess, and so that's why Catherine, it's weird to say Catherine, is now duchess. According to the weather report that I'm looking at, cloudy today. Sunshine's supposed to be back tomorrow. And then Sunday and Monday and going into next week, sunny all those days and just getting warmer and warmer and warmer. In fact, they say by Tuesday we could be at 87 degrees. Now, that's San Diego. I mean, I'm imagining East County and some other areas are going to get even warmer than that. I got a booty. It's going to get nice. It's weird. It's very weird. Jay and Woods went surfing yesterday. Yeah, it was so fun. It was a good time. Why the laugh? It was an evil laugh.
We didn't tell Mikey about it. No, they didn't. Really? You wouldn't have gone. You wouldn't have gone. You might have. The surf was too big for you anyway. He wouldn't have gone. Mike needed some fun yesterday. He wouldn't have gone. We all didn't. So I said, how come you guys didn't tell me? And they were like, because you, you know, because. You said, you're done. You said. And I'm like, I didn't say that. I wasn't invited. You said it on the air. And I said, you know, I went surfing. And Woods goes, yeah, last year. A year ago. Like a year ago to the day. So why would I do it again, right? Why would I do it again? Have you talked about surfing? Have you bought a surfboard? Have you wanted to get into it? No. I've asked you a few times. You've been like, eh, can't do it. Got kids, got this, got that. Woods got killed. I got killed. I did as well. Almost killed. You guys all went? She was supposed to meet us, but she didn't. I tried to find them, but to no avail. We were gone because I had to leave. No, they were out there. I think I just couldn't find them. Where did you guys go? Moonlight. Yeah. Yep. I had one of the most. Anything stolen? I thought about that. I actually thought about it. And I was trying to look around and make sure nobody was watching because of what happened to you guys last time. Yeah. Cars broken into. Yes. Never leave your stuff on the beach. Yeah. Yeah. What about your car? You can leave that on the beach. I had to leave my keys there. On the beach? If I say it's safe to surf this beach, Captain, it's safe to surf this beach.
Well, it isn't, you know, not all the time. You don't have a little pocket on your wetsuit where you put the key? I do, but you open it with the little remote. I don't want to short it out in the water. No, no, you put the remote inside your car. You have the key because your key actually works in your door as well. I think mine will only open with the little remote. Can we talk about Jay getting hit on? Please. What? Can we talk about Jay getting hit on? What was his name? So we go out. I catch this wave that was pretty big and Jay saw it and I freaked out. It tossed him. It tossed me and then held me under. And then another wave hit me and held me under again. So I had my first full-on freak out of the season. Oh, wow. Full-on. His board was doing the tombstone thing where it was like, oh, you can see the board doing this. I was like, he's on bottom getting work. I got work. So I made my way out and I'm sitting there and I see Jay was on his paddle board. Just paddling through waves. Just a stud, right? Just paddling. So Jay comes into the beach. He's like, man, that was tough. So we're walking down the beach. We're like, yeah, let's call it a day. And we see a lady taking her surfboard and putting it onto her bike. She's going to jump off the diving board. And we saw her. And listen, we were about 40 to 50 yards away. And Jay and I both were like, oh, wow, she's attractive.
Mama Cedar. Tractive young lady. Mama Cedar. I see you. I see you. And this young lady, she knew what she was doing because this is how she put her surfboard on her bike. Woods is walking. Oh, he's got both knees together and really pooching out the behind. The bending snap. Oh, yeah. The bending snap. So Jay and I are walking. We're like, why is she doing that? Oh, boy. So we get up to the deal and we're like, it's hot. So we're like taking a break because our board's really heavy. Yeah. And she comes pedaling up and she, right past. fat kid, me, and goes to Jay. She's like, I saw you out there on your stand-up paddle board. And Jay's like, yeah, yeah. And she goes, I bet it takes, I saw you pop up. I bet it takes great abs to do that. Oh, wow. Great abs. Great abs. And I go, he's got great abs. Oh, yeah. Just like that. He did. He was like, don't help me. And she's like, that's really impressive. It's really impressive. Oh, my gosh. I was like, Holy crap, dude. You still got hit on by that girl. Oh my gosh, Jay. She was how old do you think? Well, she's probably... I don't know. 38, 40? Yeah. Nice package. Nice package. I didn't know they were put together well. There's no way to talk about Jay. First of all, he's your friend. That's not what I meant. That's the way he always talks about me. I'm like a piece of meat. Nice. She was well put together. Young lady. Ladies will come up to me.
on the beach and try to push me back into the water. No, they don't. Or, uh, one time a woman said, habla ingles? Yes. I said yes. And then, uh, and then she said, uh, how much do you charge for the front yard and? She did not. And the backyard. She did not. Not true. Did not happen. It was pretty awesome. Jay's giving me a look like Why are you breaking? And I guess he'd be writing that. Did you just want to hear that song? Well, I thought I was going to break. I don't know why I did. Here, I'll do this for you. Oh, that's a good thing. I just had one question for Woods. I'll ask now while we're on the air. Did you think at any point, hey, I wonder if L.O.B. came out and joined us? No, I didn't. Just because I know you.
What about me? Did you at any point think, hey, I wonder if I... All I wanted to do was go surf and somehow I ended up getting in trouble. I already got my ass kicked out in the water and then I got to come in and take it from all barrels. I really didn't think you would come because you were like, I'm still at the office doing podcasts. I was like, yeah, she's not coming. I did work outside yesterday. You did? You know, like paperwork. Because it was so nice. Because it was so nice. Beautiful. Paperwork. Yeah. Where did you do that? In the backyard? In the backyard, in the patio. Well, I'm going to go surf today at noon. And I will be with you. I'm going with you. Today I'm taking the pops to the hospital. Oh, I'm sorry. I might try it. Otherwise it might be there. Today's bigger than yesterday. Oh, then maybe not. Is it scary? Well, it scared me, but I got to get back out there, though. It's freezing cold water? No. I was in just a vest. That was the other problem? I mean, is it under 90? Yes. If it's under 90 degrees, then it's freezing. I was in my winter suit, which is the same one you have. It's thick. It's like two inches thick. And the sun was beating down on me, so I was like, I started to freak out from the heat. I was like, it was awful.
Get right back in there. Have you guys heard about the guy that stole? Stole? Stole. You're getting better. Almost had it. Just remind yourself, stole's not a word, so that's all you have to do. Not enough. Stupid. Not enough. The guy that stole, I think, 26 gallons of milk, right? A lot of milk. Yeah. Wow. I ain't going to pay for it. Yeah, his name was Jay Isbell. He did it to Kim. Why buy the cow? And finally decided, oh, maybe I should marry her. Anyway, we'll tell you all about this clown. And we're also going to be doing Jay, the old man that does science. Oh, boy. Make some noise in the studio. We've got a live studio audience in here today. Mikey Show now. Call 570-1949. Or text 911. More coming up. Are you sure this thing is some sort of cult? On FM 94.9. I know your mom's probably listening. Wait, it's this Sunday? Yeah. Oh. It's not. It's not? Are you sure? Yeah. It's the 8th of May. Oh, thank goodness. I'm going to do Pro Flowers the next break, Mike. I know. Well, I'm looking at this thing. It says it's this Sunday, and I'm looking at my calendar now, and it says it's not. Okay.
But my calendar doesn't even say when it is. When is it, Sienna? May 8th. Oh, man. Every day should be Mother's Day, Michael. Today's Mother's Day. But I will tell you this. This is what I do now. Well, the California husband and wife, Philip and Nancy Garrido, they are the ones that kidnapped J.C. Dugard, held her for 18 years. She had, you know, two kids with him, have pled guilty yesterday. And they pled guilty to abducting her when she was 11, holding her captive for 18 years. And they're going to jail for what... Maybe a lifetime prison sentence. I'm sure. It should be the death penalty. Yeah, they're sentenced in June is when they're going to find out. But man, it was a surprise plea deal. Dugard was there. She's now 30 years old and her two teenage daughters were there. And they were going to testify, but they didn't need to. So just crazy. Oh, I'm so glad they're going to jail. Also really sad. The death toll is near 300. from the Wednesday's historic outbreak of tornadoes in the South. Now, the state that was hit the hardest with more than two-thirds of the deaths was Alabama, and some of the worst damage was in Tuscaloosa, which is where the University of Alabama is. Obama's going to be traveling there today to meet with the governor, and it's just so sad. Yeah.
Woodsy, what's going on in sports? Well, in the NBA quarterfinals last night, the Los Angeles Lakers took care of business. They won their series against the New Orleans Hornets, 98-80. She called in the other day, and we were giving away some prizes, and she said that she wanted her prize to be assistant with Jay. She's got on her white lab coat. Yeah, ready to go. We'll meet her in just a moment. Jay has groupies. That's right. He does. Science groupies. Science! So, let me play you a clip. This is an audio clip. Of a news report from an NBC affiliate in Washington, D.C. about what happened. The Walmart cow caper. Isolate. Isolate. 10.30 p.m. Stanford County. Walmart. A man dressed as a cow. Goes crawling in on all fours and then heads to the milk department. Hey, don't go trying to milk this story, Pat. Well, I sort of have. What are you playing, Mike? What is this? You just can't make this stuff up. What is going on? Did you and Jake and Rebecca get together and do some bits last night? You can't make news up. Guess this is something that the NBC station in Washington, D.C. did as kind of a joke. Wow.
Yeah, I guess this was clever. Do you see inside the store that cow commandeers a cart and loads it with not one, not two, but 26 gallons of good old vitamin D, then pushes the cart out of the store and starts to give the milk away. You would think this is just a bunch of baloney. A security guard sees what. All right, that's good. What happened? Basically, it's this 18-year-old kid. His name is Jonathan Payton from North Stafford, Virginia, and he rolled into Walmart. Didn't roll in. He actually crawled in on all fours dressed as a cow. He went straight to the back where the milk is, loaded the cart filled with milk, $92 worth of milk, and then just walked right out of the Walmart with all the milk in his cart and decided he was going to... B, still dressed as a cow, giving the milk away to people outside the store. And then he decided once he gave the milk away, he was going to flee the scene by skipping away. Easy, Robin Hood. Yeah. I wonder if it's a...
Like a fraternity prank or something. I don't know. They said that he was given a summons and released at the scene. Summons? What's a summons? I don't know, but I'm just... Like a Richard summons? Richard summons, yes. Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life. It's a strange thing. It's like a Robin Hood cow version. I mean, a cow head is on him. You can't see him. He has gloves on. That's close to where I went to college, and it makes me wonder if it was some sort of... Yeah. There's a lot of schools around there. I bet you it was. It's a safety hazard. Jay's the old man who does science. Oh, wow. He's doing an Irish jig. Here's Jay. He's the old man with technology. Here's Jay wearing his white lab coat. The old man who does science. Oh, boy. I need my assistance. The old man with technology. He blinded me with science. Where are you, Sienna? I know Sienna got up from her chair and walked away. I don't blame her. It scares me every time he does this. Jay, tell us your assistant's name, please. This is Anita. It's M1 Anita. And Anita called into the show the other day and wanted to win a prize. And I said, yeah, sure. Well, she didn't win the prize. But what she did want, instead of the prize that we were giving away, which was a good prize. She didn't even want the prize we were giving away. She wanted to come in and be Jay's assistant on Jay, the old man that does science. Yes. And so here she is. Now, why did you want to do that, Anita?
Because I'm a really big nerd. Okay. And you like science? Yes. All right, cool. Now, has Jay told you anything about what you're going to be doing today? Not at all. We haven't spoken yet. Okay, good. I will tell you this. I've seen, I see the items that he has. And again, I'm terrified. It always scares me when I see what he's got. Today, he's got a couple of wires. And I mean, they look like wires that he pulled out of a wall. It's true. And then he's got some copper wire. Looks like 12 gauge to me. Does it? Wow. Dang. Yeah, she's good. And then he's got a bunch of batteries, double A's, and he's got a pair of pliers. Jay, what are you going to do? Well, I'm going to go through the list here. I've got these magnets. I call them rare earth magnets, but they're called, can you just tell me about them? It's neodymium. Neodymium is a type of rare earth magnet. Permanent magnet made from an alloy of neodymium. I just want you to pull those apart for me, Mikey. Iron boron. Whoa, dude. To form the ND2FE14B tetragonal crystalline structure. Oh, it's the tetragonal crystalline structure. That's correct. That was my guess. Let me tell you something. These magnets, where do you even get something like this, Jay? You can find them online.
Relax. You can find them online. These are very small. They're super small magnets. The larger ones I was reading some stories about. A guy got his arm pinched in between and he severed his arm. They're that strong. They're almost impossible. Here's one that broke because they're real fragile. Oh, wow. He's got it like about a foot away and he's moving these tiny little things that are the size of batteries. They look like the type of batteries you'd put in the back of a watch. Yeah, the round ones. The round batteries that you put in the back of a watch. Only there's about 12 of them all. connected together let me ask you jay are those expensive no they're uh surprisingly they're pretty cheap this uh there's probably 20 of them here and they cost me about 14 because that would be fun for the kids i think just to the thing is with kids though is uh small magnets like this if they were to swallow them yeah you don't want them to swallow by kid i meant you know me yeah it'd be good for you yeah so
Super hard to get apart. Wow, man. He's like using strength. Think of the value of that, though. Your kid has a magnet in their tummy. Yeah. And you can just drag them around and pick up household objects. Not bad. I must have a Big Mac magnet in my belly. Me too. Much like yourself. Yeah. Fries. So what I'm doing is I'm taking the magnets off and I'm putting them on the bottom of a AA battery. Okay. I'm going to build a, you can tell them what we're building here. This is the next line. We're building a heteropolar motor. Whoa. I mean homopolar motor. Yes. Oh, a homopolar motor. Homopolar motor. Yes. You just call it a motor. It has a magnetic field along the axis of rotation. Really? Yeah. Okay, so what's a homopolar motor supposed to do? It's a super simple motor. It's the most simple motor you can make. Okay. So here, I'll show you. Here we go. So he's attaching the magnets. to the negative side of AA batteries. Oh, boy. Oh, my goodness. And now he's putting copper on them. He's putting copper, and he's fashioned the copper in such a way that it will connect to the bottom and the top of the battery. It looks like a heart on top of the battery. Mm-hmm. Nothing's happening. That one's like a number eight on the battery. Maybe just a second here. They'll start up. Okay. They need to warm up, Jay says. Wow. So he's...
He's spinning them. Oh, that one is working. That one is working. It's spinning around all by itself. Mike, I grabbed some batteries out of old remotes. That's right. I've had these since the first day I was hired at Rock 105. Had them that long. Wow, Jay. Dude, that's working. It's actually spinning all by itself. It's dynamite. I want to do that with my kids and show them. I can hear it spinning. I wonder if they do stuff like this on a large scale. Whoa. Whoa, Jay. That one took off like crazy. It's weird. That one has more magnets. Does it? Yeah. Oh, wow. Holy cow. That's a frigging motor. I wonder if they do it on a large scale to do stuff. What are those magnets called again? It's up to you. Homeodicep. Rare earth magnets. Rare earth magnets. Chromium crystal. Uh-oh. Tetroid.
We have video of this, too. Yeah, one of the motors working. One works. The rest of them don't. They all work. They all work, but they're... Oh, there you go, Jay. There it goes. Here, I got to add a few magnets here. Now, if you're on the other side of the planet, do they spin the other way? If I reverse the magnet on the bottom, they go the opposite way. Oh. That's rad. That's insane. I love when he does stuff. I want this guy to work, though. The big heart one. Oh, wow. I got a magnet in my hand. It's a mistake. Oh, boy. And they heat up, too. Oh, wow. Oh, gosh. He's connected. He's connected. They heat up? They heat up. They're giving out energy. Did you have to get this approved by our radio station? Yeah, I had to tell Garrett. Yeah, you can do it, you dummy. But then you better put that stuff out with a fire extinguisher. Then you're fired. Then I'll hire you again. Then you're fired again. Might as well hire you back. Then I might as well fire you again. Hired, fired. Hired, fired. Hired, fired. It starts to go, and then it falls off. Gets nervous. It's got a nervous tick. Yeah. Well, this is what you get. Hey, Jay. How you doing? Where'd you go? Hi, Jay. Where you going? Hey, Jay. Where'd you go? That's awesome, Jay. Good job. All right. Thank you. You made a little motor. Yeah. You made a little motor. And it's pretty cool. The old man who does science. That's right. Jay's the old man who does science.
He's the old man with technology. All right. That's enough of that. That'll do. 5701949 is our number. You want to text us, you could do that too. 949mikey at gmail.com. Speaking of texts, this one says, Mikey, my neighbors are kind of hippies and give their kids tastes of wine. My husband says, I can't say anything. I think it's abusive. What do I do? I think it's abusive. That's a strong word. Abusive is maybe. When I was a kid, now, granted, I became an alcoholic. Fair enough. When I was a kid, my dad used to give me sips of his Coors Original all the time. Oh, yeah. I got the Coors Original as well. You did? Mm-hmm. How old were you? First time I probably did, I was like six. Me too. Yeah. About six. How about you, Sienna? Oh, yeah. About six? Beer, wine. I mean, they wouldn't give me a beer. No, yeah, no. I used to, like, if you opened it and there was, like, the foam on top, I would get that. And I remember being like, hey, drink that stuff. Right. Now you fast forward 20 years. Who would have known? My mom used to every once in a while. I was older than six when she would have these. But she would make, like, white Russians before she'd go to bed. Like, just one of them.
And man, Kahlua with the milk. She didn't put vodka in it. So it was just Kahlua, milk, and ice. And one day she gave me a sip and it was like the best chocolate milk I'd ever. Oh my gosh. Woodsy, you were a bartender. What's in a White Russian? A White Russian is vodka, Kahlua, and half and half. Half and half? Yeah, over ice. Oh no, she would use milk with Kahlua and ice. So half and half just makes it rich. It's rich. So good. Delicious. Really? Yeah, tasty. I bet you don't want to get sick on White Russians. That's a true statement. You take that White Russian, you add a splash of Coke to it. It's called a Colorado Bulldog. I heard that. Delicious. Delicious. I started drinking White Russians after I watched Big Lebowski. Everybody did. That's his favorite drink. Everybody did. I'd be like, dude. Let me get a White Russian. Dude, bud. Before bed, it's a delicious choice. Oh, absolutely. Would she just give you a sip? Yeah, she... I don't, I remember the first time. She's like, no, she'd be like four or five. No, I remember the first time I was like, what is that, mom? And she was tucking me into bed. It's a white Russian. Yeah. I was probably like 11 or something like that. Yeah. And so she let me have a sip and I was like, oh my God. This is delicious. And so I would always like beg, can I have another sip, you know, on other nights? But she wouldn't have them all the time. And then I remember being old enough to where she gave me one. Wow. Yeah.
You remember your first, I remember the first sip of alcohol I ever had. It was my Aunt Ruth, rest her soul. My great aunt gave me a taste of her whiskey sour. And I was like, that's the most delicious thing I've ever had in my life. I was like, I can't wait to get home. I was like 11 or 12. I was like, cannot wait to get home. Grab some whiskey, make whiskey. Oh my gosh. I wasn't like that. I knew that I couldn't be drinking that stuff. I became an alcoholic. I never liked the taste of alcohol as a kid. I never did. I thought it was gross, man. One of my earliest memories is I was at my aunt and uncle's wedding at the reception and I grabbed somebody's... drink off the table. I thought it was just plain orange juice, but I guess it was a screwdriver. And I was running around and I took like a gulp of it and I was like, I'm poisoned! And then I felt sick. Just from a drink of it? I was a little... I had to be like five. My stepdaughter Jetta did the same thing around the same age. She's ten now. Five years later, she's still, every time you give her orange juice, this is just orange juice, right? The person that wrote this
is a woman because she said, my husband says I can't say anything and she thinks it's abusive. And it's M1 Turley. I would say to M1 Turley that I think it's okay. I don't think that that's really a bad thing. Yeah, you know, when you're a kid, as long as you're not giving them an entire drink, I'll sip everyone's water. Am I Monster? No, but do you think M1 Turley is the lady that writes down license plates in her neighborhood? I think that you're definitely taking a leap there. Am I? Maybe she's got a history. She's really worried about anyone drinking alcohol, especially kids. Does she know that she should keep her eyes on her own paper? Well, if we all did that, then we might turn our eyes away to actual abuse. What should she do? Call CPS? Well, I think that we don't turn our eyes away from actual abuse. But I think that when a kid is taking a sip...
and it's your neighbor's kid, and they're taking a sip of, you know, something. Beer or wine. Beer or wine. I'm not going to freak out. No. And I'm a recovering alcoholic. Be married. Welcome. You're sitting with a group of people, say, over the course of, like, three hours, and the kid repeatedly took sips. Yeah. I might say to that person, like, that's probably not really good. Like, I think I would step in and say that, but I wouldn't be like, that's it. Yeah. I'm out. Yeah. And I do think that Woods is right, too, about, you know, listen, it's their kid. Mind your own business. That's not abusive. Find your own business. Well, to a degree. To a degree, it's their own business. People love to be told how to parent, I'm sure. To a degree. Keep your eyes open for things that are outside. You see the kid bonging beers in the backyard, make a call. Or getting smacked around. People freak out when they see a pregnant woman.
I don't freak out when I see a pregnant woman having a glass of wine. Me neither. Because I've heard and read that a glass of wine is not unhealthy for her. New studies say it's not true. New studies say that it's not true that the glass of wine is okay? Yes. New studies. Any amount of alcohol now they're saying. You know how they go back and forth. My mom didn't know that she was pregnant with me until she was five months old. We're finally going to get our drinks. Oh, chicken, chicken, yeah. That's when you start feeling the baby. Yeah. She drank? Clearly. Like a hound. Really? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, back then it was just different. They didn't know the things that they know now. And they said .com, you know. They said .com. Didn't exist then. I think my mom smoked. Yeah, they used to blast cigs back in the 70s. Like, no big deal. Isn't that crazy? Now, I'll tell you what. A couple of Christmases ago, my wife and I were flying to Phoenix from San Diego. And we were in line. Waiting to check our bags in on the curb. And I saw a woman pregnant. I mean, real pregnant. Pregnant. I'm talking like nine months pregnant. Smoking a cigarette. It ruined my whole day. Did you say anything? No, man. No, I didn't. And the reason I didn't was because it isn't my business. A, it isn't my business. And B, fast forward the tape.
You know, fast forward the tape on that one. Where does that one go? Does that one go to me that she doesn't smoke anymore? Right. You know, and does it go to her saying, you know what? You're right. I'll stop. You're right. I really appreciate you letting me know that cigarette smoke is bad for my unborn child because until you said it, you know, I didn't really know it. And nor was I convicted about it. Right. But now that you've brought it up, you know, I'm going to stop. Good looking out, pal. That is so sad. Nine months is such a short period of your life. You can stop for the health of your child. Absolutely. At least try. Former Miss USA is claiming she was molested by TSA at DFW Airport in Dallas. And we have audio next. On FM 94.9. And he will take a photograph and turn it into a portrait, like a painted portrait. And we've got them here in the studio. They're amazing. They look like oil paintings. And so... That'd be the best Mother's Day present. Oh, yeah. I'd be so stoked. Act fast if you're going to do it for Mother's Day. Your mom would freak out. Yeah, it looks like someone painted a portrait of whatever you give Jared. And oil. I mean, it's gorgeous.
Okay, so this is the former Miss USA, Susie Castillo, talking about what happened at DFW Airport. I just went through security, and I chose a line that purposely wasn't going through the body scanner, which I've read so many terrible things, and I do a lot of traveling. So I said to myself, I will always opt out of that thing or try my best to go in a line, a security line that doesn't require you to go through the machine. So I waited in line and the guy said, well, you don't have to go through the scanner, but if you opt out, you're going to get a full body pat down. And I said, fine. And this was the second time that this has happened to me. It happened to me at LAX before on my way to Rio. And now I'm going home. So I'm flying through Dallas and the pat down at Dallas airport was completely different than the one I got at LAX. And I'm sure this woman was just doing her job, but she
She, I mean, she actually felt, touched my vagina. Come on. I'm not buying it. The audio is weird. They're in the airport, I think. Yeah. Yeah, I think they are. Why wouldn't you buy it? It just sounds so, like, really? A woman that works for the TSA is going to grab a woman like that? Why do people do anything that they do? I guess. She's paid for. She's paid to search you. Yeah, but she's not paid to touch that part of your body. Maybe she thought something was there. That's probably why they do the same-sex TSA, person-touching, for those reasons. Okay, but what would make her think that? I don't know. If it's the safety of the plane or just the poor person that got searched a little too aggressively, I'd go for the aggressive search any day. And see, I don't believe that the woman... I believe that the woman probably had her hand on her thigh. Go on. Swiped it. Yes. Swiped. Yeah. And she was like, whoa, hey. Yeah. But, I mean, obviously no one wants to be touched in those areas, but isn't that why they have female TSAs checking females and male TSAs checking men? Yeah. I mean, because of that reason? Yeah. So what's the big deal? Yeah. And if a guy was checking me and he did that,
I would go, whoa. Yeah, I would too. But I wouldn't like freak out. Oh my gosh, you just swiped. You're molesting him. Yeah. This is more, but who knows what happened? I don't know what happened. I'm already so upset that they're making me go, making me do this, making me choose to either get molested, because that's what I feel like, or go through this machine that's completely unhealthy and dangerous. Wait a minute. Completely unhealthy and dangerous. Do you know? It sounds like she's just sort of editorializing. She said she read a lot about the body scanners. Well, we all did. Yeah, and a lot of people are very opposed. Then don't fly. Yeah, but you know why they're opposed to them. Because it's scanning. There's radiation. No, there's a lot of people that are worried about myself included. When you go and get an x-ray, you have to wear all this stuff because of the radiation.
What is a body scanner doing that gets to see all that stuff? You did it though, right? Yeah, I did it because I'm a wuss and I didn't stick up for myself. I will not do it. The body scan? I did it once because I wasn't expecting it. Yeah, I wasn't expecting it either. That's why we did it because we weren't expecting it. But now we're expecting you wouldn't do it again, would you? Me neither. I think that she had a plan because she's obviously done the research on the body scanners and obviously doesn't like the body scanners. So she's maybe doing what she can to get rid of. Those steps? I mean, it just seems weird that she's recording herself in the airport right after it happened. The whole thing seems like a plan. Do you get x-rays when you go to the dentist? Yes. They say it's less than that. I mean, if you went to the dentist every week... Yeah, but they cover you up with stuff. No, your head still gets the... I mean, they cover your other body parts, but they say it's like going to the dentist. Yeah, but she says she travels a lot. Then she's just going to get patted down. She's completely unprotected. You have two choices. Yeah, she should get patted down. I don't think it's unhealthy. I think it's invasive. of our privacy. I agree. Because, you know, Jay's right. When you get a dentist x-ray, they don't put anything protective in your mouth. They put that thing right up to you and they take the picture of your mouth and this is supposed to be less than that. Well, I'm sure there's a whole group of people that have something to say about that as well. Always are. I just, I don't know. The body scanners don't really bother me. Same people that are upset about body scanners are saying, are the same people that I think would say, don't have a microwave because it's going to kill you. Well, yeah, that's me.
But don't you care more about being safe on your flight? I'll get a pat down. And if they happen to go into that region, then I'll assume that that's what their job is. I'm not going to assume that they're trying to have funny business with me. Direct from London, we have a correspondent. We've talked to him before. Usually we talk to him during the holidays. It's Fruitcake. Hi, Fruitcake. Hi. Spend some more time talking with a lesbian TSA lady. Well, first of all, she's... I mean, at the royal wedding. How is it? What do you mean, how is it? Listen to how huffy he is. Wow, very huffy. What do you have against lesbians? I'm sorry, I'm in my element. He finally got out of Vons. I'm in my element, and it is... Are you crying? Oh. Hello? Pull yourself together, fruitcake. Fruitcake is an actual fruitcake from aisle nine at Vons. Well, it was there. It was at Vons. They're serving fruitcake at the wedding. It's your living a dream.
It's more like a fantasy. Yeah, it's like a fantasy. Oh, my gosh. So when did you make the trip? I went through Heathrow a few days ago, and I got patted down as well, and I'm not ashamed to admit it that I enjoyed every sight. Will you finally be eaten at this wedding? Is that why you're there? Somebody will eat me. Well, it's for the prince. I'm here to correspond. And I'm here, and I'm ready. I'm prepared. Did you see all of the famous people? Of course. Yes, I did. Talk to us about who you've seen so far, Fruitcake. Oh, my God. It's been insane. David Beckham, that little tasty treat in here. Yeah. Victoria. There are all kinds of people, Mike. Charles Spencer, who, as you know, of course, Johnny Royal is Princess Diana's brother, Charles Spencer. He's actually here. I saw him this morning. There's all kinds of people. You can call me Mikey. What are you wearing, Fruitcake? I'm wearing my... traditional English wedding attire. Okay. And for a fruitcake, what does that... Many feathers sticking out of you? Yeah, I mean, what is that? I mean, what does that comprise of? It's like a military outfit. Yeah, it's like a military outfit. It's like Captain Crunch sort of... Oh, I thought for sure he would have gone with the big hat with the feathers sticking out. I have a hat on the side. What I'm wearing on my body is actually a royal, the royal arms...
Traditional. Got it. And I am wearing a hat. They have it on a cake? It's weird. The same hat that Barbara Walters is wearing, I'm wearing. Barbara Walters is actually wearing the same exact outfit? Same hat. Same hat that you have. Was that embarrassing at all? A little bit. Yeah. Now, as you know, if you're just tuning in, Fruitcake, we talked to him in December. And, you know, he was at Aisle 9 at Vons. He's an actual Fruitcake and has been there since 1974. Yeah. And now I'm here in London. In London reporting for us live from the red carpet. The red carpet. Yes. At the royal wedding. Correct. So got to see the thing today. Now tell me a little bit about your hat. You're wearing a hat. Yes, I am wearing a hat. I'm glad that you are because I want to know. I know the weather has been a little gray. Yes, it's been a little gray. They're reporting lights. Sprinkles of rain have been coming in and out, you know, but I'm not the only soggy fruit here. Elton John's actually here as well. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. I saw him this morning walking in with his partner, who is ridiculous. Elton's way too good for him. Oh, wow. I think he's cute. But, you know, I did want to put to rest one rumor. What is that? And let you know that the rumors are true. Catherine Middleton stressed.
was designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. And I do, Mike. You asked me specifically to make sure I found that out. No, I didn't. You never did. Nafasa. Didn't ask it. When you sent me that list of questions... Didn't send you that. I never sent yours. It's Fruitcake, everybody. Thank you. Hey, Fruitcake, whose mouth have you been in? All right. Okay, great. I'm just asking. He's a Fruitcake. All right, thank you, Fruitcake. That was Fruitcake on the line of... The Royal Wedding. In fact, the cake is especially made for William, and then there's another cake made for Kate, so he'll be in William's mouth, and then whoever other guests decide to have him. Fruit cake is a traditional wedding cake that you have to have, but William's cake is made from McVitie's, who makes penguins, my favorite treat, and it's chocolate and biscuits crunched up into a cake. That's his groom's cake. Biscuits are cookies. Yeah, they're like shortbread cookies, it looks like. But I saw the making of the process. And the owners of McVitie's, which is like Nabisco over there, are making this special cake for him. And you said it cost like thousands of those. $20,000. It's something ridiculous. I have all the costs. But yeah, the wedding is multiple tiers. They have a traditional look and different cakes. In order to support the royal family.
In England, it costs every single person that's a resident of Britain a pound a year. And a lot of people are upset about it. Now, I go, really? I mean, it's like that would equate to about a buck fifty. I believe about a buck fifty. One sixty six. One sixty six. A dollar sixty six in American dollars per year for every English citizen. Now, I don't. I personally think that's that big a deal. I don't think it's a big deal at all, actually. The reason I don't is because they're royalty and it's part of your tradition. You separate that out over a year. It's not very much. Easy money bags. I ain't paying $1.66 for anybody. Do you understand? What am I, made of money? I ain't going to pay that for Crown Royal. M1 Rick from Escondido. What was the word of the day? That would be... Dang, I forgot now. Vow. It was... He just told me. Vow. What? What was it? Vow.
You are a winner and you get to go see Chris Cornell May 6th at Humphreys. Congratulations. Hang on the line, please. Hit me. Hit me. I'm going, man. God hit me. I'm going. I'm going to the reception. I'm going to do the whole thing. It's on. You guys want to play Let's? Sure. All right. Let's play hockey. Now, I want to remind you in a little bit. We're also going to do Run King Run, which is where Jay will be dressing as a king. And we will be asking him questions about the royals and shooting air guns at him if he can't get the question right. Now, Woods. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. He's wearing a cup. Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay, for goodness sake. Jay. Just wanted to make sure you saw that. I did. See, you put in your cup. Forcefully. Yes. All right. Jay. He's knocking on his cup. Jay's wearing a cup. That's a big bulge. Oh, Jay. So, let me ask. We're playing Let's Play Hockey. Woods is wearing flip-flops. And he's putting on shin guards. I'm going to tell you, if he gets hit in the feet, it's going to hurt. And it isn't going to hurt a little. It's going to hurt a lot. Bruising, maybe bleeding.
Oh, look at Chris taking the shoes off his feet and offering our phone screener. Our phone screener just took the shoes off of his own feet. And Woods is putting on his shoes. And Woods is putting them on with no socks. Oh, you need to buy Chris a new pair. Poor. I think it's gross that Woods put them on. Me too. I think it's filthy. They've been worn. They've been worn. They're probably all warm on the inside. Of course, like sitting on a warm toilet. Oh my goodness. Gracious me. Perhaps worse. Really with a grow up. No, but he has his naked, there'd be sweaty feet in those shoes and Chris is going to get them back all stinky. Woods has put on blue shin guards. Now he's putting on the protective torso cover. And it's padded. Catcher's gear or something? What are we going to do? Is Jay going to... Because I need to know how this works, really. I knew they were going to do this. I knew it was going to be dangerous. Say again, Jay. All right, Jay's putting on his equipment. Help me! I can't buckle my shin guard. We're each going to take five.
wrist shots at each other. One's going to stand in the goal and then the other one's going to take shots on them. Oh my gosh, Woods. Do you have a cup? She just has this gear lying around the house. You don't? Nope. Woods doesn't have a cup. You want to borrow mine? Oh, gross. Yeah, I will actually. Um, what is it? Oh, yeah. Anita just offered us the other half of a little plastic Easter egg. You should know I'm not wearing any underwear. I don't care. No, I shouldn't. Why would we want to know that? By definition, I should not know that. Well, here's what we got to do. We got to take a timeout. And when we come back, you'll get to hear this. I know it's going to be loud because of the way that we've set it up. I'm scared. Don't break anything. Woods has on a catcher's mitt. Full catcher's gear. The padding. I'm sorry. First baseman's mitt. Not to be confused.
Yeah, this looks kind of like a hockey goalie glove. Okay, all right. And so, what's he shooting at you? Pucks. Are you serious? Woods, you're going to get hurt. If it hits you in the boys, it's going to... Oh, no. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Which is exactly where Jay will aim. And Jay's played hockey before. You know where he's going to aim at you. It's playoff time. Jay still plays street hockey in his street. You can just put the mitt... Oh, my gosh. In your pants. I'm looking at the pucks right now. I am looking at the pucks right now. This is easily going to be one of the most painful. Oh, my gosh. Oh, boy. What did it hit? What did it hit? It hit the wall. But just listen. Oh. Listen to that. Oh, my gosh. Someone's going to get hurt. I'm scared. If by somebody you mean Woods, yes. Make some noise in our live studio audience. When we come back, let's play hockey. That's why I'm wearing these tight size 42. a part of the show. 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. I'm sorry, our time is up. I like to grease the maitre d's from time to time. Sienna. I'm an expert golfer. I bet. And Jay. If it's broken, there's a 99% chance that I could fix it. On FM 94.9. You got it. Make some noise in our live studio audience, please. What I'm about to tell you. It's hideous. Oh, my God. It's hideous. Don't do it, Mike. Don't do it. Woods is wearing a protective face guard, and it has a mouthpiece on it. Attached. And he's got the mouthpiece in his mouth right now. Jay's mouthpiece. As I said, the first one's free, the next one goes in your mouth. That helmet and mask looks old, too. Like, it's been worn many times. Sweaty. Many times. When was the last time you cleaned that mouthpiece? I never cleaned that mouthpiece. It's tan in color. It used to be clear. It's supposed to be clear. It's white now because I just ate tums. Great. What is wrong with you? He licked the chin strap, too. You didn't. I didn't lick it. I was licking that mouthpiece. Take the mouthpiece out. Woods is focused. How can you do it? How do you do it? How do you do it?
I couldn't do it. No way. I know. Which is why I have to. Thank goodness for you doing it. He has Jay's mouthpiece in his mouth and Chris's shoes on his bare feet. And paper plates on his piece because he forgot a cup. But he was willing to share a cup with Jay, which Jay has on his bare skin. Yeah. No undies. Which is also hideous. Yeah. So you know what's going on in news? Well, aside from Woods, spectacle on his own. San Diego County's crime rates have dropped to historic lows. This is on the cover of the UT right now, which is great news. Sorry. I'm so disgusted. Violent and property crimes in San Diego decreased 10% from 2009 to 2010. I'm so disgusted. Which is the lowest recorded rates in 30 years. So that's great news. Not so great news for Casey Abrams on American Idol last night. If you missed it. He was eliminated from American Idol. Now we're in the top five. So, Scotty McCreary, Jacob Lusk, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, and Hayley Reinhart are left. Lauren Alaina's going to win it. Woods is wearing Jay's mouthpiece. I'm so pissed now. Take your mouthpiece out. The Major League Baseball attendance report is out. I can't look at him. I said the Major League Baseball attendance report is out. That's Jay's mouthpiece.
And the San Diego Padres have the 15th best attendance in the country. This is the closest I've gotten to throwing up. So that's a good thing. And we've done horrific things. They are number 15 out of 30. I can't look at him. Also, if you missed it last night, Cam Newton was the number one pick in the 2011 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers. Panthers. Panthers. Pampers. Not Pampers. Stop itching your paper plates. All right, I'm going to go in there. I'm going to go in there, and I'm going to call the action from Studio M Suite. I can't look at Woods. We're in the Studio M Studio right now, but I'm going to go into the suite part, which is where this is all going to take place. Now, what they did is they put up a huge Mikey Show tarp because they know that the wall could get damaged. There is a real hockey goal, a net set up in there. They are both wearing hockey gear, and Woods is wearing a protective garb. No, wait, wait, wait, wait. You guys aren't supposed to play yet. You guys aren't supposed to play. All right, are you ready? Is this mic on? This mic's hot, and there's the hip on. Oh, my gosh. So we're going to play a game called Let's, and the game is Let's Play Hockey. Now, it's best out of five. Okay, so he's got to try to make five of these, and then he's got to try to make five on you.
All right, here goes the first one. Oh, now Woods did not get hit, but Woods also blocked that. It went to his left. Woods saved to the left side. Oh, that got through. One of them got through, didn't hit Woods. Come on, Jay. Oh, that went right between Woods' legs. That's two in a row. Come on, Jay. Come on, Woods. Oh, Woods blocks it with his stick. Yeah. His hockey stick. Really, with all these innuendos. Oh, that one sailed past Woods. He got four. Three. Three out of five. Three out of five on Woods. He's now taking off the helmet from Woods. Jay, please don't put the mouthpiece in. Yeah. Please don't. If he does. Oh, wow. Oh, he's trying to take the helmet off of Woods and almost broke his neck. Oh, dude, it's slimy. The mouthpiece is slimy.
I'm like really disgusted. Jay is putting on his own helmet and is disgusted. Hey, hey, Jay, Jay, Jay. I want you to take a big breath in through your nose. You don't want to breathe in Woods' like chew spit. The mouthpiece is just dangling by Jay's face. He says he's going to throw up. Probably Breaks. You know, it'd be cool if you would have put it. All right. All right. Woods is now taking the paper plate from his crotch. That was what was his cup. He was using a paper plate as his cup. Wow. Three out of five? Three out of five. You've got to beat three out of five. Woods is lining up his pucks, and he's grabbing his stick. Right there. And then there's the hockey stick. And Jay's got his hockey stick. He's in goal. And Woods is going to take his first shot. So Woods has to get better than three. Here we go. Get a little closer, Woods. Oh, wow. Got the first one. That's a goal. Am I not hitting from the exact same spot? Exact same spot. Come on, Jay. Here comes the second one. Oh, that one sailed wide left of the goal itself. Here comes the third. Oh, another goal. He's going up high. That's the trick. Uh-oh. Here comes his third shot. He blocks it. He blocks it.
Jay blocks it. I need this for the tie. I need this for the tie. He needs this last one for the tie. Let's go. Why don't you guys have a playoff? I'm already in the goal, so we should go ahead and... Yeah, yeah, yeah. Have him go first. Jay go first. Playoff. Is it just one shot? They tied. One shot. One shot? Yeah. Oh, and Jay blocks it. Oh, my God. Nice save. For all the marbles. Jay would not put in his own mouthpiece because Woods had worn it. Woods is putting it back in. Woods is putting Jay's old mouthpiece. Why is he wearing a mouthpiece anyway? Jay just hit Woods in the crotch with Jay's hockey stick. I'm bringing the thunder now. Here we go. Here comes the thunder. Here we go. Oh, boy. Oh, gosh. Jay's getting ready. Aggressive. Oh, my God. Wow. He blocked it with his inner ankle. It's a tie. It's a tie. You're both heroes in my mind. All right. Well done. Nice. You weirdo. Holy cow. You're so gross. I'm shocked nobody got hurt. I'm shocked nobody got hurt. The last one stung just a hair. It did? Yeah, it got me right here. Blocked it with his inner ankle. Woods, if that would have hit your ankle, it would have broke it. No.
It would have. I'm telling you, because you had that protective thing on there, it saved your ankle. Ew, what? He swore his mouthpiece. He just, not only that, but he has a dip cup with Copenhagen that he spits into, and he just... Didn't he just bring it here? Did you see that? Was it the mouthpiece? No, it was the cup in my face. Jay just rubbed his cup all over Woods' face. Payback. And Jay did not have underwear on. Ew, what is wrong with them? But Woods slammed his dip cup filled with Copenhagen spit on the table and it sloshed all over the stapler and everything. It's everywhere. It's payback. That's what I had to deal with. It's disgusting. Smells like the inside of a tomb in here. I'm so sorry. You got all kinds of sweaty gear. Oh, man. I'm sweating. I will never understand, man. Listen, I'm a guy because that made me... Hey, all of the lets we've done, I've never been more nervous than when I was standing in goal waiting for Jay to blast one at me and shoot a puck at me. Jay's doing the t-shirt shake. Jay just took his cup and put it up...
to Woods like it was an oxygen mask. That was a low blow. That was a low blow. Don't say anything, Jay. Gosh. That was horrific. It's a wiener time. My favorite part about that drop is it's Mike's voice. It gets you. It's not me. It's Hoyle. It's you as Hoyle. And I was talking about hot dogs. And he used it and took it out of context. Perfect. Let's see. Hey, I want to mention something for my kid, for my boy, Jake. My son Jake has high-functioning autism. And I want to let you know that April is Autism Awareness Month. One in every 110 kids is going to be born and go on to be diagnosed with autism. One in every 70 boys.
will be born and diagnosed with autism, making it more common than childhood cancers, juvenile diabetes, and pediatric AIDS combined. It's a lifelong disorder. The cause is unknown. There is no cure. And we're asking you to support Jake and our family, along with millions of other kids and families who have also received and will go on to receive This diagnosis, which I got to tell you, you know, as a parent, it's a devastating diagnosis. No parent wants to hear that their kid has autism. And I remember that when it was first starting, I was in a massive state of denial. And, you know, I remember that Rebecca and I were going to see a counselor and I was so upset. And I was so upset that we were talking about it even. And if there are any guys listening, all I can tell you is, is that moms really have a special connection with their child. And they know their, it isn't to say that a dad doesn't have a connection with their kid. But a mom, I believe, has a special connection. Sienna, is that right? Yeah.
It's weird. It is. You can't explain it, but I feel like I can feel what Sage is thinking. Yeah. And you, you just have a, you just have a, you know, and Rebecca struggles with it too, because, you know, just as a, for instance, Jake was sick this last weekend, sick, like throwing up sick. And I said, and I got him medicine and the medicine that I got him was for the flu. She said, he didn't need medicine for the flu. And I said, well, he's got the flu. He's throwing up. She said, he's throwing up because he has a fever. And I said, Well, couldn't it also be he's thrown up because he has the flu? She goes, he's thrown up since he was a little kid every time he gets a fever. When he gets a fever, he throws up. You're like, maybe it's malaria. Are we sure it's not malaria? Well, she knows him better than I do. And, you know, she's his primary caregiver. She's the person that spends the most time with him, knows him better than anybody. And all I'm telling you, fellas, is that if your wife says, I think something's up, don't do what I did.
play, proud, arrogant, uh, ego. I don't want anybody to think that there's something wrong with my kid guy, which by the way, I didn't think that I would ever be that. I never saw myself in that light. I never thought of myself that way, but I was. And for the mother to be saying those words, I think something's going on is harder for her to say than I think anyone to hear because the mother really knows. OK, something's something's going on. Yeah. You know, and they wouldn't say that for just for no reason. Well, I remember I kept telling her, just, you know, give him a chance, you know, let him grow a little bit and he'll grow out of it. He'll grow out of it. And I remember that we, you know, I was talking to to my shrink who I call the Michael Jordan of shrinks, Vicky. If you ever want to see her, her name is Vicky Switzer. She's out of Encinitas. I call her the Michael Jordan of therapists. She's the best therapist I've ever seen. And I remember telling her, you know, it doesn't seem fair to me. I said, you know, Rebecca can think. And I've never told this stuff on the air before. But I said, you know, Rebecca can think whatever she wants to think about Jake. I said, but the thing that really stinks for me is that I have to be drug along with whatever her feelings are that's going on with him. And I said, and if we fast forward this.
Years from now, I said, one of us will have been right. Either I would have been right that there was nothing wrong with him and that he had to outgrow it. Or she would have been right and there was something that was going on and we needed to get in. I said, but either way, one of us is going to be resentful. Yeah. Because one of us would have said, I told you so. And the other one is going to be saying, I told you so. Well, it turns out that she's the one that has the right to say, I told you so. But she is graceful and didn't. and hasn't. But she was right. And guys, I know that it's a thing for men. It's tough for men to go, oh man, something might be up with my kid. And I will even tell you this, and I hope that this doesn't offend anybody. This was just the way that I felt. I felt for a while like I grieved Jake as if he died. And the reason is because before he was born, I had all of these thoughts in my head about him getting married and about him and what it was going to look like the day that he got married and me standing next to him and what it was going to be like when he got his first girlfriend and went to college and all that stuff. And I had to get this. I had to get it in my head that that could be a possibility that that just doesn't happen. Now, you fast forward because of my wife.
getting him into the toddler school at Rady Children's ADI, their autism discovery institute, he, now you can barely tell that there's any issue. Oh yeah, he's amazing. And you, you guys got him over there before he was one, right? I mean, Rebecca, I think Rebecca told me around six months she noticed something was up. Yeah, which at six months, I'm like, six months? Yeah, but she was in, you know, other baby groups and you see the way other babies interact, you know, and you know if something's going on with your kid. And especially now having Luke and Ryan, our twin boys that are a year and a half, it's really like having kids for the first time. Yeah, it's very different. I mean, it's because they're typical kids and... To see them do stuff just trips me out. I'm like, wow, man, Jake never did this. But anyway, you can go to AutismSpeaks.org or AutismVotes.org to find out more. But there's some new news about autism. Yeah, this is really crazy. At your child's one-year checkup, when you take them to the pediatrician, they're now doing this thing where when you go in, you check in for the appointment, they give you one single sheet of paper with questions about your child, meaning...
Does he reach for objects, he or she? Does she smile when you're making them cooing noises or whatever? Are they doing all of these things, which is what the typical one-year-old is supposed to be doing by this age? And you go through the checklist as a parent, and you determine doctors have tested this on more than 10,000 babies, that they can spot signs of autism by the age of one. Now, the average age... of spotting autism right now was five years old. Well, they can give a diagnosis at three. I know they can give a diagnosis at three. Yeah. And Jake was just before three years old when he was diagnosed. Yeah. Uh, but, but it isn't until later because a lot of parents are in denial. A lot of parents are like, Oh, they'll outgrow it. You know, all of that. So the average age is five. But now with this, you're going to want to fill out this paper. And doctors are saying, you know, some parents are scared to because they don't want to know. But you need to know because the sooner you find out, the sooner you'll be able to help your child and, you know, be able to live with this and help them and, you know, get them better. Yeah, there's no doubt in my mind that Jake is where he is because of the stuff that he's gotten. Yeah. And they say that, you know, even if your child, if you're marking, oh, gosh, you know, he is lacking shared enjoyment or something like that, whatever you.
Mark, don't worry. It doesn't mean that they are autistic. There's different levels. But it is something that you want to try and find out right away. So it's a really good thing that your pediatricians, and they're testing this in San Diego right now. So if you have a one-year-old, you may have just filled it out. I know I will. So real quick, there's this thing called, there's a TV show called Ingenious Minds where they show a lot of these people. And there's something called Acquired Savant. This is a trip. Totally normal guy, right? He's had a bunch of concussions in his life. He's messing around with his friends. He's an adult. Jumps into a swimming pool in the shallow end. Causes a brain injury. This dude has never played any musical instruments in his life. And suddenly he can play Mozart by just listening to it. Holy cow. He sees the music and he can now play it. Weird. Couldn't do that before. It's how just bizarre the brain is.

Who is that? What's his name? Ryan Bingham. No. The character. Bad Blakes. Bad Blakes. Really? I forgot. That's Ryan Bingham playing the guitar behind him. And he was in the movie, right? It's been too long since I've seen Crazy. I watch it once a week. Still. I need to see it. It's brilliant. You ever vomit in a trash can, drop your sunglasses in there, pull them out, clean them off, then put them back on your face? Disgusting. Rock bottom. You know, unfortunately, it wasn't Bad Blake's bottom yet. He wasn't there yet. No, it wasn't even close. He was almost there, but he wasn't yet. Give me what you want. You pick up some cream of tartar for me?
But biscuits. I'll make some biscuits. You feel that? You feel that burst of strength? Coursing through your veins. Coursing through your veins. Like you never felt before. Oh, gosh. All right, let's play Run, King Run. Jay. Wow, Jay. Jay has his shirt off. Oh, Jay. And a tooth fairy scepter. Oh, my gosh. Pull up your pants, Jay. Oh, Jay. Please don't try and sag when you're not wearing underwear. Hang on. I'm coming out there. All right, Sienna, we're all going. Okay, yeah. Yeah, we're all going to take a shot with the airsoft guns. What we're going to do is, now, you guys, don't forget the rules. Don't forget the rules. We cannot shoot. We cannot fire upon thine Kingeth until... And I want the good one. You know that. Oh, yeah, that's a good one. Michael, I believe I've earned the ride. Okay, sure. I believe Jay also put one in my back. That's a lie. All right, now. Now, here's the deal.
Jay is wearing a, what do you call that? It's a stole. Stole. A stole. A robe. And he's got on his, yeah, it's on. Okay. And he's got on a helmet. No, not yet. And he's got on a crown. And he's got no shirt on. And what? I don't got to do nothing. I don't got to do nothing. He is. I ain't got to do nothing. I ain't got to do nothing. You're not the boss of me. Jay. Jay is going to answer questions about the Royals. Hang on. I'm going to ask the questions, and he's going to give an answer. But we cannot fire unless I say it's true or false, okay? So I have to say that it's right or that's wrong before we fire, okay? All right, first question, Jay. According to the 1701 Act of Settlement, A king or future king can marry a commoner, but not someone of what religion? Muslim? Correct. I didn't say, yeah. Yeah, who shot? Sorry, I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I know. I screwed up. It was my rule and I didn't follow it. I can see the answers. All right, here we go. This time I will say right or I will say correct or incorrect. What year?
was the first televised royal wedding? 67. Incorrect. I don't think he got hit. He can do whatever he wants. I did it. He just adjusted himself. Oh, you did? Oh, he got shot. Okay, next one. What was the transportation mode that carried Princess Diana to St. Paul's Cathedral for their wedding? A carriage. A glass carriage. That is correct. Who is the taller groom, Prince Philip or Prince William? William. That is correct. My cup is falling down. What country did Prince William propose to Kate in? Kenya. Correct. Damn it. That is correct. What was the subject William and Kate were studying at St. Andrews when they first met in 2001? Art.
History. That is correct. That is correct. Thank you. Oh, thank you. Jay, how old is Queen Elizabeth II? You got this. 60. Incorrect. That one he took in the thigh. It's so much fun. It's so much fun. There's more fun over there, I tell you. What is the name of Kate and William's first? Dance song. The answer is two princes. How many more? Two more. Jay, what famous mistake did Lady Diana make during her wedding ceremony to Prince Charles? He dropped the microphone. Go ahead, pick the microphone up. Last question. Last question, Jay.
Look at his, oh, the famous mistake is she mixed up the order of his names. Really? I thought this was about this wedding. Last question. Cheaters. Who is older? Kate Ho-William. Kate. Dang it. We had to unload. Let's hear it for Jay. Look at his belly. His belly's all red. His belly got peppered. I got that shot. That was a good shot. What's he? Is there anything more fun than that? No. And in his defense, I've been on that side, and it is nerve-wracking. I don't know how you guys do it. It is hard. I probably wet my pants. I almost cried last time. I did it once, but only with one person, not four people firing at me at once. Firing squad. Firing squad. Talking back, getting ready to go. Oh, I know. It's petrifying. It's got to be terrifying. It is. Who's next? Oh, oh, oh. Ow, ow. Let's see. I'll do it with water guns.
Oh, perfect. All right, I got another one to knock about. This is the text that we got. And we'll take your temperature on it. 570. Oh, you know what, though? We didn't get to play Ever Just Say Stuff, and I want to play Ever Just Say Stuff. All right, Woodsy, let's play Ever Just Say Stuff. Oh, yeah. Let's get her. Okay, now, here's how Ever Just Say Stuff works. We are going to give L.O.B. We're going to give her a clue as to who somebody is. And then she's got to tell us what the person who the person is. Now, the reason that we play the game, L.O.B. has a tendency to mix people up. Oh, yeah. All right. So just to give you a for instance, you might be thinking of the famous actor, Paul Newman. She, you would say, this guy was in the movie The Color of Money. Paul Rubens. And she'll say that. Or a movie with a giant gorilla that was in Hong Kong. She said Hong Kong. I said Hong Kong. It was brilliant. Instead of King Kong. Instead of King Kong. So good. I've said it several times since, actually. Now we have 10 questions for you, L.O.B. Now the, the, here's the thing.
This is the thing that we need to make sure that we maintain to maintain the integrity of said game. Okay. And that is that you answer as quickly as you can. First thing that comes to mind. First thing that comes to mind, you got to try to answer it as quickly as you can. Okay. Okay, let's go. Let's see. Wait a minute. Okay, here we go. He played Magnum P.I. Richard Nixon. I don't know. He played Jack Tripper on Three's Company. Shooter. He played Sam Malone on Cheers. Oh, Ted Danson. Yes. He played the slow-talking Carl in Sling Blade. Oh, Billy Bob Thornton. She played Sam on Who's the Boss? Alyssa Milano. Oh, wow. She's famous for being a TV homemaker and went to jail in 2004 for insider trading. Martha Stewart.
She's Oprah's best friend. Gail Newman. Gail. Gail. She played... Gail King. She played... She played Cher, the ditzy blonde in the movie Clueless. Alicia Silverstone. This arrogant Brit replaced Larry King. Piers Bronson. Piers Newman. Piers Morgan. Piers Newman. I don't know. What's the Newman bit? I don't know. Piers Newman. You guys said Paul Newman? I have one more and I got to try it with you. This diminutive actor stars in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Danny DeVito. That's correct. Wait, what's Jack Tripper's name? Jack Tripper's name is John Ritter. John Ritter, yeah. I could not come up with anything. Newman. I love watching the process because you see it in her eyes. As she's searching for who the person is, you can see it in her eyes. And who played Magnum P.I.? I don't even know. Tom Selleck. Oh, okay.
I said Richard Nixon. That was a good guess. Yeah, Richard Nixon was a good guess. They're virtually the same person. It was the first thing that came to me. Tonight's 8 o'clock album is Iron Maiden. Oh, yeah. Number of the Beast. I remember that was a big player when I was in eighth grade. And the character's Eddie. Yeah. They probably still use that. Yeah, they do. They're still out there, by the way. Oh, yeah. Let's see. Okay, so the text. Okay, so here's the text. You can call us about this. Mikey, I'm losing my mind. Just found out my 17-year-old daughter is going on the pill. My ex says that it's time. M1 slider. That's complicated. First of all, it's your ex, and it sounds like your daughter's living with your ex. Mom's no best. Now, if they were together, it still would be the same, I guess. Same bit. I went on the pill at 17. Oh, wow. But not for... Isolate? Isolate. Write down. Not for that. Yeah. Write down. Isolate. It controls things. My mom... Isolate. Isolate. Isolate. Isolate. Isolate that. So, what you're saying is you were sexually promiscuous at the age... No, I was not. I was not. So, nothing's changed.
Yes, I was put on it for regulation purposes, but I'll tell you what, I went a little bit... Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Go ahead. I was going to say, I went a little bit crazy. It was like, there was already too many hormones surging as it was. Oh, I thought you meant like you couldn't have enough part. Oh, no, no, no. Swaying a lot of guys. No, I was surprisingly a very good teenager in high school. In high school. In high school. Did you think about having sex since you were on the pill? No, I was scared of it. I'm not even kind of lesbian. Now, when you say that you go on a regulate, what's the point of regulating? What's the point of that? I need to know, though. What's the point of regulating? I know, but what's the point of that? If you want to get into it, it was happening too many times. That makes sense. I'm a 40... I'm a 40-year-old man, and I had no idea why women did that. Well, and it drains your iron count, and I was already borderline anemic. Yeah, and so it was like draining my iron count, and I was so tired and like... Not so, I get it. Did you tell your dad? Yeah, my dad had to know and was none too happy about it. But didn't he know that you were a shy kid and you weren't going to do anything? No, I don't think... When you have girls, I think your worst fear always is that they're going to do... That. That.
Yes. My dad never knew any of that. Don't go out there and be a little whore. You understand me? You all right? You keep it in your pants. Yeah. All right? You picking my daughter? Let me have the phone. You picking my daughter up? Yes, sir. Don't try to take anything out. I won't. Leave it in your pants. I'm just going to take her out to dinner. No, you're not. You're going to have dinner right here in front of me. I'll make you spaghetti and meatballs. Well, I was going to take her to Chili's. Oh, really? In a movie. Mr. Big Shot. What do you think you are? Easy, Jason Priestley. I'm 17 years old. I don't care. You're not going to have sex with my daughter just because you went on the pill. I work at a car wash. I don't have a lot of money. Get off the pill. Let me put it this way. My dad didn't want me to get my ears pierced until I was 18. Oh, wow. Which I did not get done until I was 14. Wow. I got mine done before that. Excuse me while I whipped this out. And I couldn't wear makeup, any of that stuff. I don't think dad should know about stuff like that. I knew it. Birth control. I don't think he should know about anything like that. That's right. I drove him down there. I made it. I picked the ortho tricyclin myself.
I made it. I made it in the kitchen. I invented orthotricycline with a bunny and some aspirin. I just call it tricycle. Yeah. Tricycle. Yeah. Orthotricycle. I don't have a problem with a 17-year-old kid going on birth control if it's for what Lauren was about, but if it's so that they don't get pregnant. That's giving ammunition to a gun. Get your own ammunition. Wouldn't you rather be safe, though? No. You know they're going to do it. I would rather. No, I don't. They're going to do it. Listen. So, once she gets pregnant, what are you going to do? Especially 17. You're about to raise a kid. You're going to raise a kid? No. I'm not going to raise a kid, but I'm also not going to go, hey, listen, my kid's going to drink, so let's let him party at the house. I'm not that guy either. Well, I'm not that guy either, but I know that there's some things that are out of my control, and I'd rather be safe than sorry. At 17, too, they're about to go off to college, and I would feel much better as a parent knowing that she's not going to be getting pregnant. If I was a mom... You're encouraging it. It changes their life. You're not encouraging it. You're protecting them, and you're teaching them you have to be safe and old. What if she was like...
Wow, Mom, I wasn't really thinking about it, but now that you're putting me on the pill, that's all you're thinking about. As a mother, if she told me, honestly, I am doing it or I'm going to do it or whatever, I would put her on it and I wouldn't tell her father. I wouldn't tell the father in a way. I wouldn't want to know. That's a girl thing that guys don't need to know about. Hey, everybody, we're all going to get laid. Listen, first of all, my dad never talked to me. My mom never talked to me. I had an embarrassing situation happen where my mom talked to me about something because, you know, she discovered something and it was humiliating. Under the mattress. It was the most humiliating conversation I've ever had in my life. Inflatable. Ew. Oh, wow. That one hurt a little bit. It's okay, Mike. That one hurt a little bit. It's killing me. It's killing me. Ah! Ah! Ah! Inflatable. Anyway. Yep. Anywho. She finds something under the bed. It doesn't, you know, there's no need to. Hey, bro, you're in the trust tree. We've all been there. Yeah, it's not a matter of trusting you. It's a matter of, you know, I don't necessarily need to really announce it, you know, here on the radio. We should talk about cycles, though. Well, that's a clinical thing, and, you know, that's a real thing that I didn't know about.
And now I do. And I think it's interesting. She's playing your life around it. It's fascinating. Okay, listen. So my parents didn't talk to me about sex. You know. But I'm going to talk to my kids about sex. And I'm going to tell them that the expectation is that they wait until they get married. Sure. I'm going to tell them that's the expectation. That expectation was never... And I'm going to explain why. I'm not just going to go, don't have sex until you get married. Sure. I'm going to tell them, hey, listen. The world is going to tell you. that it's cool to have sex your body's gonna tell you that you want to have sex and i went through it and i had sex before i was married because my dad never had this conversation with me that i'm having with you you think that's why you had sex before i don't know i don't know but i never had you know i know i also didn't lay in bed with my dad and pray with him and i do that with jake sure you know so there was a lot of things that i wasn't exposed to
That Jake's being exposed to and my boys are going to be exposed to. Absolutely. And so in terms of values when I was growing up, values meant you don't cuss at your dad. You know, I knew that. I knew I didn't cuss at my dad. I knew I didn't cuss at my mom. And I knew I wasn't supposed to steal and lie. But aside from the just basic general things, that's all I knew. Didn't you still steal and lie, though, even though you knew you were supposed to? No. I thought you stole bubble gum and you put it in your pants. When I was five years old and I was guilty until I was 10 and I finally admitted it. Last time I lied to my dad and last time I really, I'm a pretty honest guy and I've been a pretty honest guy for many years. And it's because my dad beat the tar out of me when I was probably 12, something like 12 or something for lying to him. And it instilled something in me. Anyway, we'll talk about it. Come on back. Yeah.

When I have to say smart things on the spot, I'm like. But your boy gets in the shower and I have very little hair and I have to condition. Of course, because it smells so good and it feels so good when you condition. Sienna. Yes, I have big boobs. And Jay. So what if I like to surf every day? On FM 94.9. So what if I'm a professional model? So what if I got hit on yesterday by a hot little piece of hay? Let's hear it from our live studio audience hanging out in the studio. Sienna, what's going on in news? Oh, well, tell me what you guys think of this. Who's at fault? An attorney in Florida is suing a strip club...
for charging him close to $19,000. He said that they made him become temporarily unconscious because they served him so much alcohol that the bill racked up to $19,000. So he's now suing the Gold Rush Strip Club in Miami. Those stories amaze me. I know. I never understand how they actually become a story. They're not just going to give you drinks for no reason. Well, they didn't hold a gun to your head. Right. So, yeah, he spent $19,000. Listen, that's the one you just take on the chin. How do you spend $19,000? You wake up, you look at your thing online, you go to bankofamerica.com, and you go, I can't believe I did that. And then you just let it go. My credit card was stolen. Oh, my gosh, you're a dead man. $19,000. I don't even want to know what went on. I know. I know. This is a good story. There is a Facebook page right now that the whole purpose of the page is to return items to the tornado victims. Now, things are being found all over the place in the South right now. And the page is called Pictures and Documents Found After the April 27, 2011 Tornadoes. It's a long name of a page, but that's what it's called. And so far, there's over 19,000 likes and 150 different
images have been found and posted on there of different things that were found, like expensive things, cheap things, but you can go on there and try and find stuff if you lost it. There you go. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? If I fail to mention today, sports is brought to us by Frank's Red Hot. Frank's Red Hot. Get some. And I read this story earlier, but I had a dirty old mouthpiece in my mouth. I don't know if you caught it. The Major League Baseball attendance report has come out already, and if you had to guess where the Padres would be, Where would it be? Last. No. Second to last. Middle. The exact middle. They're number 15 out of 30. No. That's encouraging. Yes, it is. Speaking of the Padres, this peeved me a lot. I was very peeved when I read this story about Orlando Hudson. Orlando Hudson is our new second baseman. We just signed him. He's a really good player, a really solid player, and I thought a really solid guy. The Padres got booed off the field the other night by the fans that were there, and they asked Orlando Hudson about it, and he said, quote, well, that's the reason they're fans. They can't play. They can't play at this level. Some have tried and got cut at the high school level or whatever. We're the ones that are blessed enough and got talent enough to make it to the big leagues. Listen. It's humble. Very humble. A few years ago, the Yanks were playing bad. I watch a lot of Yankee games, and they asked Eric Cheater after the game. They said, well, how does that feel, man, to get booed in your home stadium? He goes, are you kidding me? We stink.
Yeah, they have every right to boo us. They're the ones that pay our salaries. If they're not happy, they boo. If they're happy, they don't. If we play better, they don't. So maybe you take a lesson from the captain. That is cool, man. That's ridiculous. I like that he said that. Let's see. So a couple of things. First of all, new movies that are out this weekend. Sienna, what do we got? Well, Prom is out. Woods. That's a movie. Woods? I went to Prom, yeah. It's called Prom. And I don't know anyone in this movie. Amy Teagarden, Thomas McDonald. Now I know. He said, is Kim Chang going to be in it? Yin Chang. Yin Chang, yes. Kim isn't, but Yin is. He's been asking me when the next Thomas McDonald movie is going to come out. I know. It's the new teen comedy is what it is. I can't wait.
Rated PG, and it's out today. We should go tonight. Yeah, or a matinee. A matinee tomorrow. Another one that's out today, Hoodwinked 2. I don't know if you ever saw Hoodwinked. It's an animated movie. It's good. And they have Hayden Penetier as a voice, Joan Cusack, Wayne Newton, Heidi Klum. So that's out today. What is it? Another kid movie? Yeah, PG. Big Players. Fast Five is out today. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Is that a Fast and the Furious? Yes. Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese. Just call him The Rock. Call him The Rock. Let's take a listen. All right, so Target's name is Ternan Ray. Oh, he's so hot. And he runs the drug scene down there. Paul Walker. Sounds crazy. Bring us to a whole other country so we can rob the dude who runs it? I thought this was business. Sounds personal to me. How come there's no cars? Is that what this is? I got love for y'all. But personal ain't good business. Start a car. I can't do this, homie. I love it. So what we're talking about is $100 million. You say what? I don't hear any cars in that. That sounds riveting. Does that mean that's the fifth one in that whole series? Yes. Five of those? Listen, they're the stupidest movies. I love them. Really? Have you seen them all? I love watching those cars. I love it.
I love it. Wow. I love it. I love it. I love it. That surprises me so much. Because you'll watch a French subtitled movie and be like, this is amazing. And then you'll be like, oh, Fast and Furious is fine. I rented a movie last week called 13 Assassins because I just wanted to see some good karate. Sure. Turned out it was good. Good movie. But all I wanted was karate. And the last movie that is out today, Dylan. Sometimes I just like to see stuff blow up, you know? It's true. Dylan Dog, Dead of Night is out today. And maybe LLB will go see it. Taye Diggs is in it. Of course you will. Oh, babe. LLB? That's inappropriate. That's so inappropriate. I don't even want to know. I don't even want to know. Now you're just acting crazy. You're acting weird. Oh, my God. I know. It's Taye Diggs. We said it. As I use my lips. Please. You know what? You're going to get us a fine from the episode. I know. You're going to get in trouble, dude. Because of you. I can't control my drops. Let's see. I'm going to go see Water for Elephants this weekend. Oh, like Water for... I can't believe I didn't go last weekend. Like Chocolate for Elephants. There's too much going on with Easter. Elephants. Like Chocolate for Elephants. Water for Elephants. Like Elephants for Chocolate. Are you really going to? Yeah. Blah! I tried to read the book, and I'm just not a reader.
How far did you get? Two pages. Maybe ten. And you go, I'm not doing this. I was so bored by it. Reading is boring. The movie should be badass. The movie should be two hours away. No, I was interested in what they were saying in the book. I mean, this started with the old man, but I was just like, my mind is thinking of other things. You're trying to the circus, blah. But you're in veterinary school right now. It is, in fact, the Great Depression. It's all right, blah. I'm going to take it to the road, blah. You're taking it to the road? You're in veterinary school. It's all right, blah. He's not a... I almost said Dracula. Get out of the sun. Your frigging skin is sparkling. It's all right. I put on my special, like, garlic outfit or whatever, blah. No, they can't have garlic. You can't have garlic. Oh, gosh. What, did you shoot yourself with a silver bullet, too? Yeah, I did. That's a werewolf. It's a stake in the heart. It's a stake in the heart. Why are you joining the circus? I want to play with animals and stuff. And elephants? Yeah, elephants. And feed them water. What about chocolate? Feed them water. You're going to be so bored. You're going to hate it. I'll bring my recorder and I'll probably cry. 15 minutes in, he'll be Sienna.
She's been known to nap at a movie or two. She'll be crying. I was pregnant then. I couldn't help it. Now I'm not. All right. So what's up with iPhone 6? Because all I know is the iPhone 4 is what we have now. Right. The iPhone 4 is now. Everyone's waiting for the iPhone 5. People are already over the iPhone 5 and they want to know what's coming after it. Oh, my God. Okay. So apparently if you're a mainstream Apple fan. Then you probably got the email yesterday saying that the white iPhone 4 is out. Oh, yeah. Did you get that email? No, but I heard that it was coming out. Well, they're saying that the real Apple nerds are over that. They don't care about that. They don't even care about the iPhone 5. Now the new topic with Apple nerds is the iPhone 6. And they're saying, you know, the iPhone 5 is rumored to come out in September now. And they're already over that. So they want to know about the iPhone 6, which is supposed to come out in 2012. And they're saying it's going to be... Thinner and lighter than all of the rest. Do they give any other details about it? There's going to be a liquid crystal display. LCD. Oh, okay. That's what that stands for. Never knew. And it's said to feature low-temperature polysilicon technology. Oh, yeah. Well, that's what we wanted when we started the revolutionary tact of trying to design something new for iPhone. We thought, well, what would be better?
Than a polyurethane homo something-ish. Polysilicon. We wanted the phone to have fake breasts. That's right. It feels like a boob. That's right. It's called the boob phone. What could feel? The eye boob. To do a pillow. The IT. Oh, wow. Got it. Yeah, we'd be interested. Did you? Yep. I'll tell you. Anyway, it's just like a typical article just saying Apple people like Mikey. Can never have enough. Even the stuff that's not even out. They want to know what's out after that. So wait. Wouldn't they be excited about the iPhone 9 then? Well, yeah. Kind of am. Yeah. Are you? Kind of excited about iPhone 9. 2014. What a fabulous idea. I think it'll be great. Are you going to get the iPhone 5 in September? Yes. He will. It just depends on what the deal is. Don't be in denial. What's the deal with it? What if it comes out in silver, like the new iPad looks nice? Not black and white phone, but silver. I'm real backed up with my allowance. Oh, yeah. Write that down. How far? I haven't calculated it, but I believe it's probably September. You don't get a new one until September? What'd you buy? What'd you get? What didn't he buy? That's the shorter list. He did say yesterday he spent $300. Remember when I admitted on the air that I got that camera?
Yes. She tacked it on. She did? She is a stickler, dude. Yeah. You couldn't get that past the goalie. He put vacation on the receipt. One of the dummy, I admitted it on the radio. Do all the coffee pots that you buy count? Because we've got three now. No. Hey, babe, it's work. It is. All the ones we have here, he has at home, too. Oh, no, wait. I think that wasn't my allowance. That one? Yeah. The Keurig. Yeah. Do you want us to chip in? No. But I just found out this morning we can't have it in the studio. Oh. Why? Because there's not enough power in the studio. Everything else is hooked in there. That's why the lights dim whenever it comes on. Oh, that's why that was happening. I didn't notice. It's okay. I mean, as long as the lights don't go out, I feel fine about making a cup of coffee. The engineer said, and I quote, when the power goes off, don't call us.
Uh-uh. All right, maybe we take the coffee maker. Yeah, for sure. The truth about coconut water. L-O-B. L-O-B. Oh, I'm not even buying it. Whatever it is. No, there's all these myths about cocoa, coconut water. You know what it tastes like? It tastes like water that's been sitting in a sneaker. No, it doesn't. It tastes delicious. I like it. Coconut? Does it taste like coconut water? This is like Madonna's big thing, right? She's the one that is all about coconut water. Madonna and L.O.B. When I was in Hawaii, I got a fresh coconut, poked a straw in it, called it a day. How did you poke a straw in it? Write that down. They were selling them for five bucks at the bottom of the Polycoast Trail. What if it was fake coconuts that they filled with water? No. I have a picture of it. So it was coconut milk. No, it was the water. It's water. There's no such thing. It's water. You make it out of the white stuff. The pulp. Yeah, you have to actually make it. Okay, well, there's different myths about coconut water. One is that it speeds up your metabolism. They say the truth is that as an urban legend, there's no valid research proving it. Yep. Have you heard that before? I was writing down what I said. It makes you regular. It's like fiber.
That's what they said in the movie Castaway. I've never heard that. Yeah, he said it in Castaway. He said it's a natural laxative. Yeah, that's right. No, I've only heard of it as a hydrator. Yeah, I've heard of that too. Not a regulator. Oh yeah, it's supposed to make you. They say it's nature's sports drink. Yes. And the truth is it's a fine post-workout chug for the average active Jane, but it falls short for more hardcore athletes. Yeah, so it's... It's just water. No, it's got a lot of electrolytes in it. It's got a lot of coconut in it. And coconut has a lot of electrolytes. Hey, is there antioxidants in that? Because I want antioxidants. No, it's not really known for antioxidants. One thing that it is known for is... Free radicals. It makes you look younger. Nightshades. Does it have nightshades in it? Here you go. It's just a bunch of stuff nobody knows what it is. Antioxidants, free radicals. It's got Botox in it. It makes you look younger because it hydrates your skin. So does water. Coconut water contains cytokinin. So does coke. And their plant hormone shown to slow the aging process in plants and fruit flies.
The end of this list is terrible. No, it's not. It's terrible. Coconut water. It's amazing how much it hydrates the body. You know, like water. Exactly. That's what it says. Oh, the coconut water is a great hangover helper. They say it's just as good as water because your body's dehydrated. Drink water. Yeah, but you have to drink a lot more water and it doesn't get into your system. Do you? Have you ever ridden on the back of a molecule from coconut water to test this theory out? No. How do you know that? Because I have friends that are nutritionists. Bring me Dr. Clown shoes. People say that coconut water protects your heart, and the truth is coconut water is a good source of the mineral, but it's better to get that stuff from veggies, you know, spinach and stuff like that. You've been warned, dude. And that's it. I will enjoy my coconut water. Water. I'll enjoy my regular water. Never had it. LLB, when you get it, do you get it in those little cartons? They have the small cartons. Yeah, it's a box. So when you get it, right, do you take it home and refrigerate it or do you drink it at lukewarm temperature? No, I refrigerate it. You refrigerate it. Okay, so you take it and now, when would you drink said coconut water? Like after an exercise? Sometimes after, yeah. Like I do hot yoga, which you sweat a lot in hot yoga. I bet it's hot when you do it.
You lose a lot of water, so I'll drink it then. Or like after a hangover. You drink it after a hangover? Oh, it helps so much. So does water. No, it helps more than water. You know what you should try? Tylenol. This thing just said that it's the same as water with a hangover. She doesn't believe it. No, I don't buy it either. Jay doesn't buy it either. You know, they say menu though. They do. It's a good hangover. They do say that. Eggs, too. Eggs are very good. You know what else? It smells like carrots and throw up. You know what else is good? It's a hamburger. It's good, you know? Crazy hamburger. Yeah, it seems to be working out good for you guys. California burrito. Shush boot. Working out really good. For you guys, doesn't it fatty? Hey! Glass houses. Shouldn't throw stones. That's right. Mickey D's, Chefs. Hey, Chefs. Clearly. Mickey D's. Jay, get off the microphone. Do you hijack there with an extra large Coke and fatty? You're talking too close to your microphone. Hey, Woods, get a frigging milkshake to you, fat bastard. I just want to make sure Micah can hear me. We can hear you, Jay. Not very clearly, though. So just back away. Hey, Micah. What's two plus two? Fat. Fat.
I got a joke for you. Why did the chicken cross the road? Because you're fat, Mikey. Black, black, Mikey. Well, who's there? Fat. Hey, Mikey, a Mexican, a Jew, and an alligator get on a bus, and you're fat. Mikey, your mama's so fat because she related to you. Oh, my gosh. Jay can have the most... He can have the most soft-spoken voice, but when he says something about me and Woods being fat... So fat. He says it with disdain in his voice. I want to take you. I want to spank that fat off you, boy. His fat is so... I mean, his F is so hard. Fat.
It's a hard fat. How many fatties does it take to screw in a lamp? Not enough, fatty. They can't screw because they're so fat. Fat finger fatty. The fingers can't even grip. Oh my gosh. I'm freaking fatty. I'm freaking fatty. I'm freaking fatty. The fingers. Side of the face. That's unbelievable. It might be the greatest moment of my life. All right. So what else we got? Oh, tonight's 8 o'clock album. Iron Maiden. Garrett. Oh, Sienna, that was a really good Your Mama So Fat. Oh, yeah. That was freaking great. Your Mama's so fat because she's related to you. Are we good on time? You have a minute. Fat. You have one fat minute. You have fat. One minute and fat seconds.
You have one minute, but that's four hours in fact. In other words, I can do it in a minute, but it would take you four hours. Get started now, buddy. Mikey runs a 90-day mile. What I said you have, fatty fatty? What gear are you in? Fat gear? Still gonna get that hearty fat boy. Hey, Mikey, you're with a chance. Let's do it. More from the Mikey Show coming up. is a list of natural remedies to help with the allergies. This is your list that you... Oh, no. Sienna made this list up? She made up the list. I didn't make... My nose is running. Oh, boy. Well, these are the things that are going to help. Obviously, begin with the non-allergenic diet. You know, there are things that you can eat. Wheat, dairy, excess sugar, those cause allergies. He went, hey, maybe you make me that bologna sandwich, but I can't have that much wheat and whey. It's got to be local bologna. They say take vitamin C. It's a powerful antioxidant and also a mast cell stabilizer. Oh, good. Mast cell stabilizer. My cells are pretty unstable. Yes. Drink nettle leaf tea. Yeah, nettle leaf tea. Yeah, you know what you do? You just take the nettles off the tree, put it into a tin cup, and then heat it over a warm flame. I'm sneezing. Everybody here had a good time today? Did everybody have a good time? Awesome. Got a live studio audience in here with us today. And like I said, it's going to be a nice weekend here this weekend. The space shuttle was scrubbed this morning. Yes, crazy. Now, this is Representative Gabrielle Gifford's husband, who is the commander of this, and they've been waiting for it. She made the flight from Houston to Florida to be there. Obama was supposed to be there today, and Endeavour was supposed to launch this afternoon. Well, it has been scrubbed. Now, people thought maybe because of the weather, but no, actually, it's a technical problem. I guess they're having a problem with one of the orbiters' auxiliary power units. That's not what I heard.
I heard that it was actually karma that came down and shut that thing down. It was a true story, right? It's a safety hazard. Karma happened, I think, is the deal. It's going to happen to you. It's not bad. I mean, the guy is a space shuttle commander. Yeah, for sure, man. Now, this is just going on right now, so we'll find out when the launch will take place. I doubt it will be today. The good thing is, get her even. More time to rehabilitate after she took that 9mm bullet. The good thing is they took her out of her hospital care and flew her. Doctors always let you go. She just strolled on out there. You guys clearly know better than the doctors. M1 David from Mission Valley, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What's going on? Hey, yeah, I was just calling to talk to you guys about a charity event that I'm part of this weekend. It's actually... Saturday between 4 and 7. It's an art show, so you get a chance to come out and support some local art. And then there's also a silent auction for the Lewis Merrill Foundation, who does fundraising for carcinoid cancer. It's a rare form of cancer, hard to diagnose. But I just wanted to let the M1s know about it. It's a good opportunity to come out. Where is it? It's at Eden in Hillcrest. Oh, yeah, that place is fun.
It's a nightclub. It's just going to be from 4 to 8. Some of the silent auction stuff is going to be like an autographed guitar from Maroon 5. Oh, nice. I've got Bobby Knight signed basketball, plus a bunch of sports packages, vacation packages, restaurants, stuff like that. And then all of the art that's showing, 20% of all of the art sales goes back into the foundation, and then each artist is also donating some of their own original artwork for silent auction, too. There you go. That's awesome, man. Well, thank you and good luck. All right. Thanks a lot. Thanks. Anybody got any gigs this weekend they want to talk about? Anybody doing anything this weekend that they want to mention? Got a big Tipsy Crows game on Sunday, 1.30 at Hoover High. There you go. How's your team going? We're okay. We're doing all right. I think we're like 6 and 8. I got Little League on Sunday. Saturday. And then the big boys on Sunday. There you go. Sounds good. Peace. Let's see. End of the show on Friday. I give you my testimony. And tell you a little bit about my story. And hopefully from that you can get a little bit of hope. Hope is the thing that I was always lacking in my life. Throughout my entire adult life. Up until the time that I got to where I am now. When I was a teenager, my time was always lonely.
And I always felt different and I always felt like an outcast and I always felt ugly. I always felt different. Never felt like anybody understood what my thinking was like. I was really sad and I often felt hurt. Very sensitive guy. But I was also really angry and became an alcoholic by the time I was in my early 30s. In my early 30s, I gave my life to the Lord. I gave my life to Jesus Christ. And that put an end to a lot of things. Addiction, eating disorders, depression. You know, there's a lot of things that it did that changed my life. But more than anything, what it did was it gave me a relationship with a God that I love. It gave me this knowledge that I'll never be alone. I need it. I need it every day. A lot of people say that it's a crutch, and I agree. What is yours?
Because for years it was alcohol and it was drugs. It was everything else. But God, I don't tell you my story because I'm preaching to you. I'm telling you my story because there's some people out there that are listening right now that are hurting. That have been through a divorce. That have, God forbid, lost a kid. They're going through a divorce. They're going through losing a parent. Today, I'm taking my dad to the hospital. You know, my dad's got cancer. And we found out that the cancer has spread. And I still have hope. And I'm still in my daily life happy. Because I know that this place here is temporary. All I hope is that you hear something in my voice that you want. That you hear something in my story that you want. That if you're hopeless, you feel hopeless.
You feel like you want to kill yourself. You have nothing left to live for. I hope that you hear in my voice that that changed for me. Jesus doesn't have a website. My church does. I give it out because I go to a cool church. And if you're looking for one, you can try it out. It's northcoastchurch.com. I also give out the website, mikeyshow.com. At the very top of the page, it says help. And you can go there and you can get help for addiction. You can get help for eating disorders. You can get help for depression. You can get help for all those different things. But if you feel hopeless, and if you feel like there's nothing left to live for, I want you to know that there is. I want you to know that as hopeless as I was, and as ugly as I felt, as terrible as I felt, today I feel differently. And I know that beyond a shadow of a doubt, I'm not alone. I play this song at the end of the show on Friday. It's from a band called Red, and it's called Not Alone. And the lyrics are really great. I love you very, very much. Hillary's coming up next, and have a great weekend. We'll come back on Monday morning, and we'll do this all over again. Love you, M1s. Mikey Shoza. Later.
Someone who can save a life living in fear that no one will hear your cry. And so the world's so cold.
