Girls just don’t get Goodfellas. Without much coaxing, Mikey gets Woods to give him a back rub. It’s no secret why Sienna has pack pain. Mikey tells the funny story about the first time he shaved his head. The oil spill is out of control. 43 year old stripper and her “girlfriend” 911 call is next. Kombucha talk with LOB leads to the Kombucha song. Woods debuts his new boob hat to the gang’s delight. Smoking ban talk leads to alcohol ban talk. 10 foods we love to hate reveals Sienna used to be on a show with an eggplant for a co-star! The Kid announces his future house party and Jay has an interesting take on how he does gifts. Mikey announces the Mikey Show Invitational Golf Tournament and bidding begins. The girls have issues sitting in golf carts and having to watch the guys for 18 holes. Technical snafus make Mikey insane. Brett Michael’s near death experience still draws some jokes out of The Kid. Rebecca is now a vegetarian after watching “The Cove” and this leads to a big discussion about Mikey and Rebecca’s new meal procedures. LOB gets Woodsy giggling when she asks “how does Rebecca feel about handling the meat?” Big shout out from this author for Jay picking a Primus song. Susanna followed Woods during his move from stop to stop and claims she wants to be friends with Jamie. Sly Stallone says no more Rambo. Nashville is under-freakin’-water! The best quitting/firing stories has Woods tell of the time he told off a jackhole boss. Jay had a cab take him home after being laid off. Woodsy loves sign spinners. Sienna reports on a woman who stayed in bed for 6 months because of a reason you’ll have to listen to, because you’d never guess it! A crazy German guy marries his cat and Hoyle gets an idea for a give-away. Stephen Hawking believes in time travel which leads the cast to say where they would go if they could go back in time. Here about the dude who eats light bulbs.

Mikey frustrated his wife Rebecca by extending a Goodfellas routine, then later described how The Cove turned her vegetarian and prompted an argument over whether she should still cook meat for him. Sienna covered Faisal Shahzad’s airport arrest, the crew attacked BP’s missing spill contingency and argued over Obama’s responsibility, and Stephen Hawking’s time-travel claim dissolved into alien confusion and a debate over where they would go. Lauren became the target and biggest fan of a kombucha parody, while Jay’s plan to reclaim party leftovers and Susanna’s eerily detailed knowledge of Woodsy and Jamie produced the sharpest studio arguments. Mikey and Woodsy announced a charity golf auction benefiting the Autism Discovery Institute that helped Mikey’s son Jake, before the show traded firing stories and reacted to a woman nursing a Chihuahua and a man who eats light bulbs.

What happened, in order

  1. Goodfellas at Dinner

Mikey reenacted the Goodfellas ‘funny how?’ scene for his unamused wife until she ignored the routine and tried to order dinner.

  2. Times Square Arrest

Sienna reported that Faisal Shahzad was arrested at JFK while boarding a Dubai flight after investigators traced the failed Times Square car bomb’s Pathfinder.

  3. BP Spill Reckoning

Mikey and the crew attacked BP for lacking a usable contingency plan, worried about seafood and wildlife, and argued over offshore drilling and Obama’s responsibility.

  4. Kombucha Anthem

The crew debuted a full parody song about Lauren’s brown, fermented, floater-filled kombucha, and Lauren immediately declared it brilliant.

  5. The Leftover Grab

Jay defended taking his leftover beer, jalapeño poppers, and serving dish home from a party while Mikey, Woodsy, Lauren, and Sienna called the move tacky.

  6. Golfing for Jake

Mikey and Woodsy announced a Riverwalk golf auction benefiting Rady Children’s Autism Discovery Institute, which Mikey credited with helping his son Jake make major progress.

  7. The Cove Conversion

Mikey said The Cove made his wife Rebecca become vegetarian, prompting a caller to argue that Rebecca should not have to cook a separate meat dinner for him.

  8. Susanna Knows Too Much

Susanna unnerved Woodsy by knowing precise details of his and Jamie’s Texas drive, hotel breakfast, bank PIN habits, and new house while insisting it was all coincidence.

  9. Epic Firings

A discussion of Up in the Air and firing people by video led Woodsy, Jay, and Mikey to recount dramatic quits, mass layoffs, cabs home, and dreaded HR meetings.

  10. Hawking and the DeLorean

Sienna mixed up Stephen Hawking’s views on aliens before explaining forward time travel through near-light-speed flight, and the crew debated which era they would visit.

  11. Chihuahua at Lunch

A caller said a woman breastfed her Chihuahua at a Del Mar café, leaving the hosts to argue over whether the act was merely disgusting or actually illegal.

  12. Light Bulb Breakfast

Sienna described a 54-year-old Chinese man who claimed to have eaten more than 1,500 light bulbs, and the crew connected the habit to pica and other nonfood cravings.
