Is Cinco de Mayo a real holiday? Ask a Mexican! Does Woods have Diabetes? The Kid reflects on his time doing community service whereas Jay had a different experience. The Padres are on a roll; hopefully I’ll still be saying this in September. Sad story about murdered Lacrosse student. The Kid was running errands and his fool-proof fake cell call bit to thwart those petition hecklers backfired. This leads to tips on how to avoid those clipboard commandos. Sienna gives some homemade headache remedies. Need a good sleep mask? Mikey’s got your back! Jay gave up chicken farming but gained a garden. Laura Bush audio follows, who knew they had to pay for meals? M1 Josh has a wife who’s worse than R. Lee Ermey from Full Metal Jacket and calls in seeking help. Sienna and LOB give him some great advice. Pneumonia killed Corey Haim, but there were trace amounts of drugs in his system. Dumbest things couples fight about follows. Woods tells about Jamie making him “Squirrelghetti”. An M1 spends 5 grand and upsets his prudent wife. Another couple get into a fight over him kicking her butt at video games. The cast fights about food every Monday. Lauren is not the freewheelin’ hippy Woods thought she was. Want to see adult couples fight? Introduce a board game. The Mikey Show billboards went up today! MMA fighter Joey Beltran calls in. The gang plays the 5 dollar quiz game and Michael Shannon goes country. Funny kids’ names introduces us to “Harry Trim” and “Thin Dog”. Sienna reports on a new strange asthma device. Things that skeeve us out the most includes trash juice, warm toilet seats, mustard and ketchup water, and milk crust to name a few. Garrett calls in with his first billboard sighting on the 94. What skeeves Hilary out?

On this Cinco de Mayo broadcast, Mikey, Woodsy, Lauren, Sienna, and Jay opened by discussing Mikey being fully Mexican without speaking Spanish. They covered the Times Square bomber arrest, playing the actual air traffic control audio of the plane being turned around. The crew roasted Woodsy for being diabetic while eating cheesecake and Sugar Babies, and he told a hilarious story about pretending to be on his phone to avoid a petitioner outside a grocery store, only to have his phone actually ring. Caller Josh described his wife controlling his life with a dry-erase calendar, leading to extended advice from the crew. Lauren shared a story about crying because her boyfriend wouldn't dip her at a bar, and Jay revealed he got into a real fight with his wife Kim because she didn't tell him his turtle Hank had escaped into the street. Listeners called in with their dumbest fights, including a Prego pasta sauce argument and a rock-paper-scissors blowout. UFC fighter Joey Beltran called in from Montreal before his UFC 113 fight. The crew took a $5 wilderness survival quiz, discussed baby names after Sienna felt her baby kick, and ended with a long segment on things that skeeve them out.
What happened, in order
Coconut Mexican
Mikey explains he is fully Mexican but speaks no Spanish, and his family calls them 'coconuts' — brown on the outside, white on the inside.
Times Square Bomber ATC Audio
The crew plays the actual air traffic control audio of the Emirates flight being ordered back to the gate so Faisal Shahzad could be arrested, and imagines how nervous he must have been.
Woodsy the Diabetic
Woodsy admits he is diabetic while the crew catches him eating cheesecake, Pop-Tarts, and Sugar Babies, prompting everyone to roast him about his diet.
Woodsy's Fake Phone Call Backfires
Woodsy pretends to be on his phone to avoid a Save the Whales petitioner outside the grocery store, but his phone actually rings in his hand, and the petitioner calls him out.
Josh's Calendar Wife
Caller Josh describes how his wife organizes his entire week on a dry-erase calendar, controlling when he can golf and see friends, and the crew debates whether he needs to have a serious talk with her.
Lauren's Dip Me Fight
Lauren recounts getting into a tearful bar fight with her ex-boyfriend because he refused to dip her on the dance floor after she had been drinking.
Jay's Turtle Escape
Jay reveals he got genuinely angry at his wife Kim for waiting hours to tell him his pond turtle Hank had wandered into the street, and the crew mocks him for reacting like a seven-year-old.
Dumbest Fights Segment
Listeners call in with their stupidest relationship fights, including a blowout over Prego pasta sauce at the register, a toilet paper over-vs-under debate, and a fight over rock-paper-scissors.
Tiffany Rings Fight
Caller Michael spent $5,000 on three colored rings at Tiffany for his frugal wife's birthday, and she became livid at the extravagance despite being able to afford it.
Joey Beltran UFC Interview
UFC fighter and Mikey Show fan Joey Beltran calls in from Montreal ahead of his UFC 113 fight against Tim Haig, discussing weight cutting, nerves, and seeing a sports psychologist after his last loss.
$5 Survival Quiz
Jay quizzes the crew with a wilderness survival quiz where each puts in five dollars, covering the 'rules of three' for survival, water procurement, and shelter building, with Mikey and Lauren tying at five out of eight.
Baby Names and Teasing
Sienna shares that she felt her baby kick for the first time, and the crew discusses terrible baby names including a caller whose nephew would be named Harry Trim and a doctor named Dr. Thin Dong.
Skeeve-Outs
The crew and callers share their biggest skeeve-outs, including sand in teeth from seafood, eggshell fragments, foil in the mouth, warm headphones, trash juice running down your leg, and reaching into a garbage disposal.

VZT San Diego. A Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of The Mikey Show. FM 94.9. Big day for my people. There's a fake holiday bit. It's more like it, right? Now it feels like home. Now it feels like home. That's what you used to wake up to. I don't know what I would do. Let me tell you. I have such vivid memories of this stuff from when I was a kid and going to like barbecues and stuff. Hitting the piñata. Hitting the piñata. Going to barbecues and culture that I didn't understand. You know, my family's relatives. And I didn't get it because I didn't speak Spanish. My parents say that I don't speak Spanish because they wanted me to assimilate into our culture. I believe the truth is that they wanted to be able to speak without us understanding what was going on. Of course. You know, my parents, I am 100% Mexican. I don't have any other.
I'm not like half Mexican, half this. I'm fully Mexican. And I don't speak any Spanish. That's shocking. That would be a gift, though, to be able to speak in code that your kids can't understand. Totally. They did. I mean, they would bust into Spanish all the time. Yeah. I had no clue what they were talking about. It was brilliant. What about your brothers? Nothing. Dude, we are the whitest Mexicans. That's insane. They call us coconuts. Brown on the outside, white on the inside. That's kind of offensive. But it's kind of a good description of what I am. Brown on the outside. Very milky. Very milky on the inside. I don't speak any Spanish. Let's see. Welcome to the Mikey Show. 570-1949 is our number. Or you can text us. 949mikey at gmail.com. And there are five people on the Mikey Show. I'm the host of the program. My name is Mike. And I got cracked yesterday at the chiropractor and feel fantastic. My back had been bothering me, and I'm back to new. I'm feeling great. Woodsy's a guy sitting across from me. He does sports for us. He is 35 years of age. Am I? 34. Yeah. Dude, I'm going to tell you.
The only thing that surprises me about what I just said is I didn't say 45. I screw it up. I practically have to write your ages down. I know. I dry erase. I'm surprised you don't have them like on a little crib sheet in front of you. Right? Yeah. For real. If you call me 30, I'm going to cut you. I know. I know. I'm going to slice you. Lauren O'Brien is the 21-year-old sitting right here today. Perfect. Sitting right here to my right. Yeah, Lauren is 29. Sienna is 25 years of age. Very good. She's our news girl. I mean, I turned 25 recently, and you've gotten it right every time. I'm impressed. Easy one, because it's your quarter-life crisis. And Jay is 46. He's our producer, and he's a man in the next room. He also screens your phone call. So if you want to call us at 570-1949, you can do that. 949mikey at gmail.com is our text. That's how you reach us by text. We'd love to talk to you. Let's see. Yeah, so it's Cinco de Mayo. And I don't know that that really means anything to... 5th of May. Does it really mean anything to anybody? It's a fake bit. Yeah, I mean... I did some research on it. They don't even celebrate it in Mexico. Why do we... I don't know. Really? I don't know.
Really? Yeah, really. By the way, Tommy, our afternoon guy, he is going to be at Jose's in La Jolla for a big Cinco de Mayo party that we're having today from 3 to 8. You may have to go check that out. I'm thinking about it myself. I got my friend Fenwick of Bachelor Party fame that we talked about last week. He's in town. And so we were going to go grab a bite to eat tonight. He and I for dinner because I'd never get to see him. He wasn't in the movie Bachelor Party. No. He's having. Our other buddy's having a bachelor party. Fenwick wants to bring his wife with him to the bachelor party. Got it. And Jose's tool, too, is where he's broadcasting live. Tommy, sorry. And it's right on Prospect, which is downtown La Jolla. So, like, Jamie's never been downtown there. It's a really cool little touristy spot. I think I'll just go with my boy. The seals on the beach are right there. Did you see him immediately? I'm going. Did you see him immediately, Sienna? He just said Jamie can't go. No, she's... She's a big girl. She can go if she likes, but I'm going to go with my boy that I never get to see. Will you guys talk to me if I go? 100%. What do you think? We're going to sit over in a booth and not talk to you? I work with that broad. I don't want to see her outside of work. That's you, not me. I like to hang out outside of work. Hey, what did you mean when you said that she's a big girl and she can go if she likes? She's got a car. No! What?
Come on. This guy. I'm going to break my balls already. Great. Jamie, I was like, oh, I'm going all right. Oh, yeah. Now she's all the way in. She's dead asleep. Is she? Yeah. All right. It's funny. If not, guess what? You're dead. The thunder. You have a traveling partner with you today. Check out the seals on the beach. I will. I've never been there. A block from there. Good food? You guys have never been? No. Oh, you're going to fall in love. Really? The seals? I can't wait. You'll love it, dude. I'll show them the seals. So. Big story today is what's happening with the Times Square bomber. Yeah, he admitted to making the car bomb that was found in Times Square Saturday night, as well as driving to that location with the intent of having it explode. So he admitted that, like we announced yesterday, Monday night he was taken off of a plane at JFK and taken into custody. And he also admitted to having training for bomb, bomb training. Hey, in just a minute. I'm going to play for you the actual audio of the conversation that happened between air traffic control and that flight when they told them to turn around and bring him back. That's out? Wow. It's out. Wow. We have the audio of it. Yeah, I had read that he slipped through all the security measures. Crazy, right? Yeah, I don't know how. He was on a do not fly list. Yeah, somehow. They got it right at the last minute. Feels real good. Yeah, it does.
Right? He had explosives training in Pakistan right before, too. It's just nuts. This is the police captain in New York City talking about how long it took from the time that it all happened to apprehending him. From the time Fazil Shahzad drove into and across Broadway and parked that vehicle to when he was apprehended last evening at the JFK airport. It was 53 hours and 20 minutes. Not bad, he asked me. That's not bad at all, dude. Not bad. Got the guy in custody. He's already admitted it. Yeah. Great work. From the time he did it to the time they got the dude in custody, that's pretty quick work. Really quick. NYPD, baby. They're good, right? They are good. They're into it. They got it. Love it. Love those guys. So, yeah, this is what it sounded like between air traffic control and the Emirates flight. 202, looks like it's going to be number one. Monitor tower on 123.9 at this time. 123, Nona, MRF. 202, good on. MRF 202, heavy Kennedy Tower, runway 22, right position. Actually, I have a message for you to go back to the gate immediately, so make the left turn when able. 2202, turning left here. Hi, MRF 202, make the left turn on to Echo, left Alpha, back to the ramp. I don't know exactly why, but you can call your company for the reason. We'll do that.
I'm going to take you with me on what this must be like on this flight. Because dude that did this is sitting on the flight. And in his head, he's thinking, wheels are almost up. Wheels are almost up. Almost made it. And then all of a sudden, the plane turns around. Oh, he was almost out of there. How nervous must that dude be as they are taxiing back to the runway? And they don't know why. And the pilot's saying, we're returning to the gate. We don't have any information on why right now. Oh, wow. Great call. Wow. Good. You know who doesn't feel nervous? Yeah. The guy that doesn't drive a Pathfinder in a Times Square. You got that right, bro. God. You got that right. Oh, wow. I say good, and oh, my goodness, dude. When they open up that door and onto the aircraft steps, federal. Marshal's. Yeah. Federal. Oh, yeah. Marshal's.
Imagine the people sitting on the plane right next to that guy, too. Like, what did you do? What's going on? What was I about to do, you know? Is he going to blow up the plane? Right? Did you forget to take your scissors out of your carry-on, too? Oh, my gosh. Can you imagine you're sitting there, and they walk up to your aisle, and they get the dude sitting, I mean, handcuffs. You're like, what just happened? And he knew, so I wonder if he kept his cool and was like, what? Maybe they think it's the other guy. Oh, my gosh. Makes my skin crawl. So scary. And freaks me out even just thinking about it. I'm glad, though. He deserves to go through that. Of course he does. Yeah, he does. And so, anyway, so that dude is done. I wonder how long his sentence will be. Oh, you want to know an interesting thing? So yesterday on Fox News, and I'm listening to it, and I'm like, I'm trying to make sense of it. You know what the Miranda rights are, right? You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. I've heard of him a few times. Yes. In the movies. In the movies. Never in person. Senator John McCain, who I'm a fan of, was talking to Don Imus and said this. Catching this guy gives you...
Gives you a little encouragement about the improvements we've made since 9-11. And so, give us eye relief, and don't give this guy his Miranda rights until we find out what it's all about. I wonder if they've already given him his Miranda rights. I wonder. Well, I think, obviously, that would be a serious mistake, at least until we find out as much information we have. And there are legal ways of delaying that. Yeah, now, I'm hearing it, and I'm like, I didn't know that you couldn't. Me neither. That you couldn't give the Miranda rights to. I thought it was upon the time of arrest. Me too. I thought you couldn't cuff somebody unless you read them their rights. I guess there is something that says that you, you know, there are some exceptions that could be made to it. And that's kind of interesting, right? Maybe like a terrorism type deal. If there's proof, is there proof beyond believable doubt? Probably.
A word. Reasonable doubt. Reasonable doubt. There we go. Anyway, yeah, that's pretty crazy. It's pretty crazy stuff. This is the Secretary of Homeland Security talking about making the arrest. Well, they pulled the flight back, as you know, to the gate. They also had the authority, if the flight had actually taken off, to order the plane to turn around and come back. Jeez. Pretty gnarly. That is gnarly. You know what really freaks me out about it is that there's not much that we can do. Nope. I mean, if somebody's wacky and crazy enough to do it, then that's the deal. If somebody's crazy enough to do it, there's not much that we can do about them putting a bomb in a car and driving it somewhere. Especially with homemade life at. It's crazy that we can actually... Turn planes around. Because in the movies, he'd be like, no. Right. Like the police officer would be standing at the airport. As it took off. Got away. That's great. 570-1949-949-mikey at gmail.com. If you would like to send us a text message. This text message says, Mikey, as a Mexican, please stop this fake holiday.
celebrate the 15th of September, the real Mexican Independence Day. That's M1 Susana. That's not me. It's a different Susana, Susana. That's not you. Do we only celebrate Cinco de Mayo here in the U.S.? Yes. Because I don't even think they do in Mexico. Yeah, they don't. That's what Wuzzy was saying. It's not a Mexican. They celebrate it in like one village. Yeah. The big one in Mexico is Dia de los Muertos, right? What? November 1st? You don't know what Dia de los Muertos is? No, what is it? The Day of the Dead. Oh, I've heard of that. It's like a huge celebration. Have you? I have heard of the Day of the Dead. In fact, I think that that's the, you know why I know it. What? Boingo Boingo, Dead Man's Party. Oh, yeah. Great song. That's the only reason I know that. From back to school. They have like little candy skulls that kids eat. Yeah. It's like All Saints Day. Same something. It's a big one. That's right. Hey, what's the latest with Bret Michaels from Poison who had a brain aneurysm? Good news. He was released yesterday from the hospital where he's been treated for the last 13 days in Phoenix, Arizona. That's cool. Yeah, he's doing a lot better. His doctor says they're feeling pretty confident that he will not be suffering from another hemorrhage. It makes me nervous that it's in quotes saying, I'm feeling pretty confident. Yeah. You know? They'd rather be confident, right? Yes. They say that, you know, he should fully recover and he's facing four to six weeks of rest before he can resume a normal schedule. Wow. Yeah, and Woodsy was saying that he's...
Yeah. You are? I'm not. He is. Lauren, you would know. Lauren just gave me this look that said. Move on. Last one. Last one. I swear. Last one. I swear. I haven't had all my coffee. I love the hand motion she did. She went in the hand. I didn't say anything. Are you worried about that one? Got away from me. I blacked out for a second. Yeah. I love it. You have diabetes? Nope. How long have we been working together? It's diabetic, huh? Not me. Just Brett. How often with the insulin woods? Never. How often do you have to get into that stuff? Is it bad to smoke and chew while you're a diabetic? Yeah. Is there sugar in your chew? In your Copenhagen? In your Copenhagen. And I mainline cheesecake, so that would be bad. Would you really need to stop with the cheesecake since you've just admitted to us that you're diabetic? Pop tarts every morning. You should have seen the half of cream cheese pie I ate yesterday. Oh, yum. Cream cheese pie? Half when I got home and it was a half and I ate half of the half when I got home from work. It'd be a quarter. A quarter. There you go. And then the other quarter before bed. Oh, nice. Knocked it down with some sugar babies. Sweet.
Sugar babies? Just for good measure. Oh my gosh, that would give me the shake so bad. Kids are going to behave when Jamie gets here. That's right, yeah. Allegedly, get on the program. That's what you had said. When your wife got here, you were going to mellow out. Yeah, we'll see. Did you chase that down with some Kool-Aid? Wasn't Kool-Aid crazy? I mean, when you think about Kool-Aid, wasn't Kool-Aid, I haven't had it for a while, but wasn't it a cup? Of sugar? Cup of sugar. I think it was two cups. I have Kool-Aid at my house. Jenna loves these little Kool-Aid tablets that you just drop in the water. You're good to go. It's different now because the actual act of pouring in cups of sugar, now that we know, it's like, wait, what? Creeps you out, right? Yeah, now it's pre-ready to go. Jay, was it two cups of sugar? You know, I think my mom just liked to make it super sugary. So it was delicious. My goodness. That's so good. It's like a melted popsicle. Oh, yeah. So good. You guys have a favorite flavor? Cherry. Cherry. Cherry? There's more flavor. Grape's pretty good. Grape's pretty good. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, there is. Grape, cherry. Delicious. For a diabetic like you, that was. I like strawberry milk myself. That was my fave.
Didn't you guys always want the picture that they had in the commercial with the happy face on it and stuff? I'm like, where do we have that? I didn't even sell that. I wanted Kool-Aid to come busting through my wall. Hey, Kool-Aid! It's okay, you just locked down my wall. You got Kool-Aid. My dad's not going to be mad at all when he gets home. It's good stuff. The guy that was trying to extort Letterman. Letterman was having an affair with this dude's girlfriend. He was a producer at CBS. Yeah. And he had a girlfriend. And Letterman was messing around with her. Yep. And this guy tried to extort David Letterman for millions of dollars, right? Yeah, two million dollars. So yesterday he went to court and he was sentenced to six months in jail after he pled guilty yesterday on account of attempted first degree larceny. Crazy. He actually faced a maximum penalty of 15 years. But in addition to the six months he has, he's going to be there's a six month sentence, which is. Sorry, sorry. He's also sentenced to four and a half years probation and was ordered to perform 1,000 hours of community service. Guy got off easy. Yeah. I was reading the same thing. 1,000 hours of community service. You know, that's not that bad. As opposed to prison? Yeah, as opposed to 15 years in jail. I think I'd rather sit it out. It's the worst. Hey, take it from one who knows. There's nothing worse than community service. Nothing. Really? Nothing. How many hours have you ever done, Max? Like 20. I had to do 28 hours. What was it? What did you have to?
What was it? I had to work at this place called Mission Arlington. Yeah. And so for like eight hours on a Sunday, you have to drive to people's house and pick up their crap that they don't want. Like their old chairs and mattresses. You have to go into their homes. You're basically a mover. That's not even that bad. How long did you have to do it? I did 28 hours, and it took me, of course, I did two hours a day, and I dragged it out over like 14 weeks and barely got through. How does that work, though? Do they always assign you what you're going to do? Because I see those people on the side of the freeway in the Orange Fest. It depends on, I think, the severity of your crime. It depends on the severity of the crime. Mine wasn't that severe, so it was like, hey, you got... 28 hours to do. You get to pick? And I had to, no, you don't really get to pick. They assigned you. They kind of told me, hey, this is the best place to go. And I was like, all right. I didn't want to mess with it. So, you know, it's hard. Yeah, that would be a bummer. A thousand hours. It's a lot, man.
Man, I did it as a kid. I loved the community service. You did? Yeah, I was a Boy Scout. What did you do? What did you get arrested for as a Boy Scout? I did it voluntarily. Yeah, but I mean, we did all the same stuff. We had to go paint a church. Of course, Jay was a Boy Scout. And of course he enjoyed it. Jay loves stuff like that. You know, he's very active. Well, here's the deal. Like, I would go volunteer, and I'm planning on going to volunteer at some places. Like, probably the SPCA is someplace I would go volunteer. Go with a smile on my face. Sure. But once you tell me I have to do it, I'm out on the whole thing. We should build a house. Yeah, let's build a house. Absolutely. Yeah. I don't want to build a house. No. I don't either. No. I'll bring the Kool-Aid. Well, I'm not good at those types of handyman. We'll have like a montage. We'll give each other fives at the end. Yeah, in slow motion. And it'll pause. Play dramatic music while we high five in slow motion. It would be the worst looking house ever. Yeah. No, we would have Jay. He ended up doing the whole thing. It would look great. It would be fun. We would have his feet kicked up real good. It would be Lauren and Jay doing all the work and the three of us sitting around ordering food. I'll get food for everybody. Give me your credit card. You'd be a good foreman. Absolutely. That's great. Let's see. 570-1949 is our number. Happy Cinco de Mayo. Don't you mean Feliz?
Feliz de mayo. I don't even know. Oh, I want to remind you. Do you have that thing that I told you to print? I want to remind people about this. This is really cool. My wife told me about this. I said, oh, I want to talk about that on the radio and let people know. There's something called a Have a Heart fundraiser, and it's to benefit the Heart Institute at Rady Children's Hospital, which we love Rady Children's Hospital here. And their Heart Institute performed five. 107 open and closed heart surgeries on kids in 2009. That is so cool. Wow. That's awesome. Dude, it's so great. And they're doing this thing where they're going to have music and entertainment. They're going to have like this theme, the Wicked Wizard of Oz theme, and it's going to be a live silent auction. And we're going to throw in Mikey Show Backstage Pass. So they come in here. It's an auction. So they get to auction on it, get to come in here on a Friday.
Be an auction item. So for those of you that are, you know, trying to get picked to come into the Mikey show and you haven't been picked, this is a great way to raise money for Rady and be able to come in at the same time. Now, the auction is going on Friday, this Friday, excuse me, from 6 to 1030 at night. And it's at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad. Or you can go online, radysncu.com. Very cool. Very cool. Really neat thing that they're doing. They're the best. Yeah. Let's see. I'm picking the music today, so this is a little Blue Oyster Cult. It's called BOC. BOC, dude. I like it. We got an update for you in that University of Virginia lacrosse case. Woods will give you that in Woods on Sports. And wait till I tell you what happened to Woods. You know how Woods does the bit when he's walking out of the grocery store where... People are standing out there and they want you to sign up for some Save the Whales deal. Yeah. And Woods does the deal where he holds the phone up to his ear. Pretends to be on the phone. Fake phone call. Yeah. We got some really cool news to tell you about what happened with Woods and that. It's a sad day with Jay and his chickens. Oh, no. Sad day? I'll explain. Oh, no. This is The Mikey Show. FM 94.9.

And it makes you go, of course it happened to Woods. Of course. I love it already. That's right. We're going to be updating a couple stories we talked about yesterday, including the University of Virginia lacrosse case. But first, the Padres last night did it walk-off style against the Rockies.
Chase Hedley came through in the bottom of the ninth with a game-winning RBI single to beat the Rockies 3-2. The cool thing is with Chase, he bats behind Adrian Gonzalez. So the new bit is they keep walking Gonzalez intentionally to get to Hedley. And Hedley's like, fine, keep doing it. Since they've been doing that, he's 3-3 with a double homer sack fly and Tuesday's game-winning single. That's awesome. Which is rad. So the win keeps the pods a game ahead of the Giants in the West. If they win tonight, they'll win their sixth straight series. So, Woodsy, in Little League, high school, whatever, have you ever hit a walk-off game winner? It wasn't a walk-off. I've had a game-winning hit before, meaning that in the top of the inning, my hit scored the winning run, but then we still had to get them out in the bottom. Obviously something I've never experienced. It had to have been pretty exciting. pretty amazing. Even though it wasn't really a walk-off. I've always wanted to end it and the winning run come around to score and then throw my helmet up and the whole team attack me. They lift you up. I can't wait. I'm going to do it this year. Has that ever happened? People are going to be like, of course it has. That's happened in the World Series, right? Oh, yeah. The Yanks got beat by the D-backs on a walk-off.
And that's how the whole series ended. And then Joe Carter hit a walk-off homer against Mitch Williams to have the Blue Jays beat the Phillies, I believe. What must that be like? Amazing. And that's a World Series. Like, forget it. It's the best. It's awesome. Also, baseball lost a legend yesterday as the longtime voice of the Detroit Tigers Hall of Fame broadcaster Ernie Harwell passed away. He was 92 years old. He was the broadcaster for the Tigers for 40 years. He died yesterday. Like I said, his wife of 68 years, Lulu, was by his side. They're going to put his body at Comerica Park starting tomorrow at 7 a.m. And they are going to leave him there until the last person comes to pay their respects to him. It's unbelievable. They said it may last all day and all night. But I've got a little cut of Ernie. Cut one. This is what he sounded like. This is what he sounded like. Yeah. In my almost 92 years on this earth, the good Lord has blessed me with a great journey. And the blessed part of that journey is that it's going to end here in the great state of Michigan. How cute is that? Isn't he awesome, dude? Ernie and Lulu is the cutest thing ever.
And they were married 68 years. Wow. He was an absolute legend in baseball. He's a Hall of Famer, and he will be greatly missed by any baseball fan out there. Also, there's an update in the University of Virginia lacrosse case. If you don't know what happened, 22-year-old female lacrosse player, yearly love, was murdered early Monday morning. Her roommate found her and then called the police. The police came. There were pools of blood around her head. Obviously, they said, There's foul play involved. So they arrested a suspect, 22-year-old George Hughley, who was apparently the boyfriend of Ms. Love. Well, he's now admitted that he did, in fact, kick in her bedroom door and beat her head into the wall. Oh, my God. So his attorney, Francis Lawrence, said he was confident the death was not intentional. And he said, quote, we are confident that Ms. Love's death was not intended but an accident with a tragic outcome. I don't think the guy accidentally kicked the door down and accidentally beat her head into the wall. Exactly. Was he, like, drinking or anything? I don't know for a fact, but one would guess. One would guess. You said it, man. Like, that's not an accident. An accident is when you step in some water and slip. Right. Yeah. Or you get in a car accident. Oh, that makes me sick. You didn't intend to get hurt. But when you're...
Doing what he did, you intend to hurt someone. And he had apparently written her some nasty emails, threatening emails. So allegedly he came in. He did what he did. Then he swiped her computer. He has told police where her computer can be found. They're going to investigate further. I mean, it's just absolutely brutal. It's a terrible, terrible case. I had read that he had. In 2008, he had a problem with a female officer at Washington and Lee University. Yep, and he got detained by that officer and tasered, and it was resisting arrest, and it was an alcohol-related incident. Yeah, and a physical altercation. I think he said he was going to kill her. Yeah, she was all of 5'3", 130 pounds. Are you kidding me? He's 6'2", 220, something like that. Dude's going away for the rest of his life. I got to agree with you on that one for sure. The Phillies fan we talked about yesterday who ran on the field and got... 17-year-old? 17-year-old, got tasered by the Philly Police Department, called his dad first to ask him, hey, dad, what do you think? Should I do this? Are you kidding me? And his dad tells him, no. He goes, I really don't think it's a good idea. And he's like, no, dad, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I got to do it. And his dad's like, please don't do it.
Please don't do it. And he did it anyway. What if the dad said okay? Like, how do we know the dad said no? His dad actually called a buddy that was at the game and was like, go stop him from running off the field. And according to his dad, he wasn't drinking. He wasn't on drugs. He just said this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So he got that right. He's a knucklehead. It definitely was. Also, let's update the NBA playoffs really quickly. The Lake Show won again last night to take a 2-0 lead over the Jazz. The Magic beat the Hawks to take a 1-0 lead in their series. The Cavs and the Celts are tied at one game apiece, and the Suns are up 1-0 over the Spurs. And, Mikey, Pac-Man Jones may have a new home. The Bengals have worked him out for the second time yesterday. Are they nuts? Here's the deal. If they sign him, he's going to basically what is the junkyard of the NFL. They take all the dregs of... You know, these guys get arrested five, ten times a piece. That's what I was going to say, dude. The Bengals have got to have a record for arrested players. They had ten players arrested in a 14-month span. And they're notorious for signing these guys. They signed Matt Jones recently, who was busted on cocaine charges last year. You know, I'm all for second and third chances, but it's getting pretty ridiculous. Roethlisberger? Yeah. Maybe they signed him. Getting ready to go. I mean, seriously. It sounds like it's down to the point where they're like, well, has he had any arrests? Well, then why are we looking at him? I know.
If he hasn't had any arrests, why are we going to work him out? Exactly. It's a prerequisite. Yeah, you have to be a troubled case. The guy's 26 years old. His career's basically in the toilet. I don't know how much he has because when he came to Dallas, he didn't have much. He just didn't have much. He's still young and whatever, but he just didn't have much. Finally, the Yanks and the Sox won last night, and they square off in Turdway Park on Friday for three games. Turdway Park. That's Woods on Sports. Fenway Park. That's Turdway. It doesn't even rhyme. It doesn't even rhyme. It's not supposed to rhyme. Why would it rhyme? It totally fits. You ready to talk about your day? I guess. Yeah, he went to Target and went to Home Depot and Albertsons and he's doing his thing, right? Wow, a lot of errands. Yeah, you know that new house, got a bunch of stuff I gotta buy. So he goes to Vaughn's and he's trying to impress his wife who just moved out here to join him from Texas.
And he's trying to impress her. He says, show her. Hey, listen, here's how you do it with these clowns that are standing outside trying to get you to sign petitions and whatnot. What you do is you hold your cell phone up to your ear. You act like you're on a conversation, right? So there's one of these Save the Whales guys out there, some energy company or whatever they are. Greenpeace, probably. And Woodsy's doing the bit where he's like, uh-huh, yeah, uh-huh. And he's holding the phone up to... Fake talking. Fake talking. Yeah, what's up with you, man? His phone rings. My phone is never on. But since the move, I leave my phone on because our house is pretty big and I can't hear my phone vibrate. Like my little apartment, I had one room. I would lay in my bed and my phone would be on my chest. So I charge my phone. I turn my phone on now so I can hear it ring in case Cubby wants to talk or something after work. Little Boots. Little Boots calls me. So, yeah, I've got this thing up to my ear and I'm like. Yep. Oh, no, I know. We're totally going to do that this weekend. And literally my phone's like. What did the dude say? The guy looks at me and goes, your phone's ringing, dude. And I go, oh, my. I got beet red. Jamie ran into the store. So we did our shopping. I couldn't even concentrate. I was shaking. You have to go out in different doors. I was rattled. I was like, and he looked at me like I just killed a puppy. Yeah, you're a monster. Yeah, you're a monster. You're an idiot.
They make you feel bad. I know they do. I'm like, can I just do my grocery shopping? Like, I didn't do anything wrong, okay? We had people on the corner when I was moving. We literally, I'm not kidding you, we were moving a couch and they're like, hey guys, you have time to save the world? I happen to be wearing my Little Miss Save the World shirt. I'm not even kidding you. And he's like, hey, globe shirt. Hey, want to come over here and talk about whales? You're like, do I look? Like I want to come over there and talk about miles. We had to keep going past them. And I was like, let's go the other way. And my brother's like, no, no, no. I want to see how many times they're going to ask. Needless to say, we did our shopping and went out the other exit and walked, I don't know, 40 yards across the parking lot. Weaving through cars with the cart to try to get it over my car without them seeing me. And I didn't even glance to see if they were looking. It's the worst, man. 570-1949, your experience with the folks when you walk out of the grocery store. Your phone's ringing, dude. You should have walked out pretending to be on the phone again. Yeah, I should have. Just walk right past him. You know what I've always wanted to say when I leave the grocery store and they stop me when I have a full cart of groceries? I want to say, hey, you want to help me put this in my trunk? Yeah, I'll gladly talk to you. That's going to be my response. They used to do it at the mall all the time.
They used to come up to you in the mall when you're walking through the mall, you're shopping. They're like, do you have time for a quick survey? And I'm like, I don't speak English, man. And let me tell you something, man. I would have never been the guy that would say, yeah, I'll do it. I mean, I don't, I guess it's PETA or I guess it's PETA, right? Save the whales. Whatever it is, organization that says, hey, we need some volunteers for grocery, you know, outside of Henry's. Who's the guy that wants to do that? I don't know. I don't know if they're volunteers. I think they get paid. I actually, one time I walked out, I signed up with the SPCA and I donate like 50 bucks a month to the SPCA. Yeah. So I signed up and he was a listener and he knew who we were and stuff and he was all stoked and that was cool. So I did it. I had the time, but 99% of the time, I don't have the time to talk about the new energy company or I don't want to save 10% on my electric bill or my phone bill. I just don't want more things coming in the mail and I don't want anyone calling my house. And it's like, leave me alone. M1 Steve-O, are you there? Steve-O is not there. Go ahead, Lauren. I was going to say, sometimes they'll stop, like, you know, maybe one out of 12 times. I'll go, okay, and I'll stop, you know. Hey, do you have time to save the whales? You sound like a D if you say no. So I say yes, and then it's not about, like, okay, well, you could do this or this. Okay, well, we can take credit card. We can take a check. I give you credit for one out of 12. Yeah, maybe not one. Are you O for Ofer?
Never. I never do it. I never will. No. No. Listen, I know where to find you on the intranet. What about when you're checking out of the grocery store and now, like, all of a sudden it says after you do the card, would you like to donate money for disabilities? Every time. I've done it a couple times, but it's like, man, I've donated a lot of money now. I do it every single time. I mean, and I mean 10 for 10. I'm like, yeah, disabled kids, here's $2. Like, every single time. CVS, do you want to buy a snowflake for these little kids? I'm like, yeah, let me put my name on it. How do you say no? I've said no many times. It's a dollar. It's usually a dollar. It's a dollar. That's a deal. It's a dollar. It's not that big a deal. M1 Maiden fan. Hey, good morning. What's up? I got a wife, three kids, a mortgage payment, and I don't bother people for money. I earn my money. And then I just walk on by. See, and that's kind of the thought process if you're just like, all I wanted to do today was get some food for my family. Exactly. I feel like maybe stand outside of a convention where they're talking about saving the whales. Thank you. You know what I mean? I just kind of feel like it's an invasion of like, look, I was just trying to do my thing. I want to keep like a Girl Scout cookie brochure in my purse. Be like, oh, you want to buy some Girl Scout cookies? My daughter's a Girl Scout. You know, like write to them. Like get them back. M1 Triscilla.
has a pretty interesting take on how to get around it. Are you there, Triscilla? Yes. Go ahead. Yeah, so the Greenpeace guys and stuff like that are really the best way to get around them that I've done because they're all over Fashion Valley in the malls. It's irritating. It's just to go, all right, guys, dude, seriously, I'm already a member. And nine times out of ten, they'll go, okay, cool, and they'll leave me alone. Nice. But my favorite thing, if you know the guys that are outside the stores with the petitions for whatever, cause or movement they want you to sign and everything else you have to be a registered voter for. Best way to get around it, I kid you not, is just go, dude, I'm sorry, I can't sign it, I'm Canadian. Oh, wow. Genius. See, I've said I'm not registered to vote. Yeah, if you do that, they'll harass you and try to actually get you to vote. Yeah, that's true. But yeah, all you have to do is sign a Canadian. They know that legally you can't sign to vote. You don't have to worry about having some fake, horrible accent. Hey, Trusilla, Trusilla, how about this one? M1 Lag Spike just texted in. He says, maybe we carry around our own little clipboard. And when we come out of the grocery store, we let the people know that we're actually getting a petition signed, too. It's to ban solicitors at grocery stores. Be genius. Places like Target have banned them. It's brilliant. Certain targets have banned them. Have they really? Thank you, Trusilla.
That's a good idea. The Albertsons where I live, they don't have them. They don't? The new where we just moved, they don't have them. It's money. Yeah. Sometimes they will. I was thinking you could keep a clipboard of like your monthly bills. Yeah, your bills. And then when they ask you, you'd be like, yeah, if you want to help me out with this, I'll help you. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. Let's help each other. Yeah. How do we help each other today? People helping people. M1 Paparazzi knows someone that does this, right, Paparazzi? Yep. What's the deal? It's actually a career. He gets paid per signature to do it. Oh, yeah. And it doesn't matter what the cause is. It's just voting. It could be voting for anything and everything. It doesn't matter. He'll just have a list, and he'll have a very vague review, spout it off to you real quick, and try to get you a sign to say that you're voting for it. Paparazzi, do you know how much the person gets per signature? I don't remember. Something like $5 or $6 per signature or something. Yeah, he made $18 last year. Now, here's the deal. What Paparazzi is saying, that means these guys could care less about the cause that they're shoving down your throat, which peeves me more. Now, I'm even more mad. Now, I'm not going to do the fake phone call bit. Now, I'm going to tell the guy to go buzz off, buzzard.
Hit the road. Hit the road, buzzard. Hit the road, buzzard. Why can't I get that right? I don't know, but you have a hard time remembering. Lauren's mom said that at lunch when we first met Lauren's mom. She said it like three times. She goes, hit the road, buzzard. And laughed. It's the greatest. And laughed. And laughed. It's the greatest. Laughed until she cried at herself. She did. Oh, how about this one? Who's this? The same one, Lodi. Loda? Lodi. Lodi. What happened with you? I'm walking out of the store with my kids and there's that marijuana initiative going on outside. And they're like, hey, how would you like to sign this initiative to legalize marijuana? And it's like, you know, I got my... How'd you like to get? Yeah. It's like, you know, this isn't really what I want to be teaching my kids. No doubt. Hey, daddy, daddy. What's marijuana? Yeah. Have that conversation. Don't worry about it. Totally. And, you know, it's just... I don't know. You're like, sorry, bro. I don't really want to talk about legalizing dope in front of my seven-year-old. A little discretion, please. And I know that you're doing it because you've got glaucoma. I know that that's why you're standing here, because you've got glaucoma. But I got a seven-year-old I'm trying to instill some values in right now. You wanted me to sign this, get weed legalized? Exactly. That's shocking. Thank you, bro. Thank you. 570-1949. That's what I would say to the guy.
That's shocking. Shocking. I'm appalled. How dare you? How dare you? I'm appalled by you. Flabbergasted. My new bit, I'm just going to go get as soon as they ask me for anything. Hey, sir, do you have time to get? Sir, could I get? Wow. I would be scared. Sir, get. You dare me? Because I will. How long will it be until somebody invents a little handheld Git device with your voice on it? I know. Git. That's what you should market. Dude, don't steal that idea. One of those things that, that was easy. You know, like, Git. Right. And it's got like eight different versions of you going, Git. Git, Git, Git, Git. Git. Oh, friendly Gits. It's called the Git maker. Yeah, the Git maker. The Git button. I love it. 570-1949 is our number. You can text us, too. 949mikey at gmail.com if you would prefer to text us. What else is happening? You want to know how to heal your headaches naturally? Please. I get headaches every day. What do you got, Sienna? How do you do this? Well, there are some natural things you can do, like make tea. Ginger tea.
Liz is totally going to do that. Ginger is for your belly. No, they say that ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory and it can cure pain. Plum, mint, green tea also helps release tension. I like Advil. But some of the good ones, too, is there's a pressure point in between your thumb and your index finger. Really? That if you find it. Like you kind of pinch down. Jamie does it to me. I do it to her all the time. If you have a headache, you'll feel like a painful spot. And if you hold down on that for two minutes on each hand, it will help. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They say do it for, yeah. You know, it's funny. We were at, when we were at Coachella, Hillary had a headache and I go, give me your hand. And I did the thing to her. She's like, wow, that works. Yeah, it works. We feel weird to push on. It does. It doesn't feel good, but it takes a headache. It takes a headache away. How long does it take the headache away for? Is it gone? It doesn't come back. Then I do some maintenance on it. Then I'll go take some Advil and whatever, but it goes away. Just a preventative measure. Did it maybe go away because of the Advil? No. I don't think so. But it does keep it. Yeah, it does. Trust me.
Also, they say massage your headache away. You can find that spot, you know, and just kind of rub on it. Also, they say if you put five drops of lavender oil in one cup of warm water and then you put a small like washcloth in it and put the washcloth on your head. I love my cure for everything is a cold, wet washcloth. And I put it on my forehead and it feels so much better. I use it for my cramps. They sell those lavender eye things. Yeah, I used to have one. Oh, God. Are you kidding me? I told you, when I lived in Chicago, my apartment was on the lake and the sun would rise and it would be like sleeping in the sun. And I used to get home from the bar that I worked at at like 5 a.m. So I couldn't sleep. So my girlfriend bought me an eye mask and it smelled like lavender. It smelled delicious. An eye mask. It smelled amazing. It smells of lavender. Helping you sleep wirelessly. That's right. Dude, you're like, is this Chicago or the equator? It was awful. Who calls it the equator? I did, just now. It was awful. When your bar that you work at shuts down at 4 a.m., and by the time you clean up and get home, it's 6. And you're like, cool, I got to sleep. Lavender. Lavender. Mikey, you're going to get one, aren't you? I've already got a sleep mask. Is it lavender sending? You can put it in the refrigerator, can't you? Is it one of those? No, no, no. In fact, mine is a really... Every time I talk about it, too, people will...
text me or email me and say, hey, can you show me a link to where I can get that? Oh, is this the Red Baron? It's better than the Red Baron. I started with the Red Baron and my wife made fun of me, called it the Red Baron mask because I look like the Red Baron when I wear it. And it was just the kind that was the black sort that went over the eyes with a little elastic band to hold on my face while I sleep. I look like Zsa Zsa Gabor while I'm sleeping. What do you have now? Now... Zsa Zsa. Now I found one. That's real serious. And it's much, it's like a welding mask and it covers your ears to block. Oh my God. And it Velcro. I want it. Where do you get it? Velcro's around the back of your head. I want it. It works. Yeah, no way. I sleep with earplugs every night. Really? Every night. This morning I slept through my alarm. Jamie had to wake me up and go, dear, your alarm's going off. And it was like, and I'm like, oh, okay.
See, what happens? That's what I don't like about the earplugs. What happens if there's an emergency? I got my wife there. Yeah, what if the house catches on fire? Yeah. They'll feel the heat. Kids are going to burn up. They'll feel the heat. Dogs. Feel my heat. What did you say, Lauren? I would say it. That's what I said. What happens if there's an emergency and you can't hear it? You're done. Put the earplugs in. You're done. Oh, well. Well, you got your wife there. She'll wake you up. She will. I'm Sam Powell. New dolphin show back at SeaWorld. Now, the reason that this is interesting to me is because SeaWorld was under a lot of scrutiny just for having dolphins. Really? Yeah, man. The Cove called SeaWorld out and said, you know, they're buying these dolphins, blah, blah, blah. That's why there's a market for it. Somebody wrote on my Facebook, though. Yeah, SeaWorld issued a statement saying that they haven't bought dolphins. In decades. They're leasing. They breed them or what? They breed them. Well, they lease with an option to buy. With an option to buy. Financing them. I'm upside down in my dolphin. Oh, yeah. I'm kidding. Too many miles on it. Aren't we all? So what is the deal now? I'm so excited about this. Why?
There's a brand new dolphin show. It's starting May 29th. It's called the Blue Horizon Show. And they say it's more elaborate and spectacular than any other dolphin show. It has more than a dozen dolphins. It also has two pilot whales, exotic birds, as well as aerial and diving performers. Dude, I'm so against whales being pilots. First of all, they have no business behind the wheel of an aircraft. No doubt. So messed up. It's the first new show in four years. So the dolphin discovery is going to be retiring. Never been. Got to try, dude. May 29th. Hey, Jay gave away his chickens. Why? Oh, Jay. Oh, it just turned into so much work for Kim, especially now that I'm up in the morning. She had to take care of the chickens in the morning. Yeah, exactly. And I'm the only one who eats eggs. She's allergic to eggs now, so. Delicious eggs. They're so good. I'm starting to get, I mean, I don't know if it's a mental thing, but Jay told me ever since Kim had kids, she can't eat eggs. So now that I'm pregnant, I'm like, oh, eggs don't sound good to me anymore. The good news is I turned it into a giant garden. So I have all kinds of space to put in, you know, new plants. Weed and stuff. Yeah, bro. Was that sad?
It was sad. But, you know, the good news is they went to a great new home around the corner. And there's roosters there. So, you know, they knocked it out. Was the new home called KFC, Jay? What's that? Was the new home called KFC? Yeah, yeah. They do chicken right. Too soon. Too soon. You know, my mom, same thing. She got pregnant with me. She would eat eggs and they made her nauseous. I feel nauseous. You do? You have that effect on people. That's right. That's right. When I'm in your belly, I'll get you nauseous. Let's see. Financial media station, the new home of the Mikey show. This is FM 94.9. Oprah Winfrey had Laura Bush on yesterday and Laura was talking about all kind of stuff, man. She was talking about what it was like when they were there. By the way, There was some things about the presidency that I didn't know were the deal. Check this out. Tell me what you think. It was shocking to me. I did not know this, and I'm sure many of you didn't know this either, that you have to pay for your own food at the White House? Yes. Wow. Did you guys know that? No way. No. I thought y'all were eating for free. You have to pay for your own food, and if you have guests, you have to pay for their food? That's right. I mean, don't you think that's...
Everybody has to pay for their own food. You're the president and the first lady. And it's a cook. You're not always picking out what you're eating, right? And you know what's so weird about it to me is that even as a citizen, I'm like, in that case, I don't want equality. I want the president to get free food. He should have his own meals catered. He should be able to feast on whatever he wants to feast on. He's got bigger problems than having to go to the grocery store. Yeah. Well, and having to, you know, like, what do you do? You sign? Probably order, probably. fill out an order sheet of what you want. I'm sure there's like a monthly bill. They just debit you? And you got to like do tip? Probably. Probably. Shouldn't have to. He's the president. Should get free food. I think the president should do. No, I thought we were paying for the president to eat. I did too. And his family to eat. So you get the house for free. You don't have to pay for rent. But if you, for your weekly meals, you get a bill at the end of the weekly meals. And if you have friends over, You have to pay for the staff to stay over to serve those friends. I don't get it. Seems like it comes with the territory. Okay, so anyway, she snuck out of the house one time, Laura Bush. She snuck out of the White House one time. Wow. And was able to, I guess, evade Secret Service. Why did she do it and where did she go? She's speaking out in her new memoir, revealing...
her fears after September 11th, the truth about her husband's drinking, and how she would sneak out of the White House to go to Target. Please welcome one of the most popular first ladies in history, Laura Bush. The Target got a great laugh because everybody can relate to wanting to go to Target. Exactly. But it's hard for us to believe that you're in the White House and longing to go to Target. You think Oprah's ever been to Target? No. Yes. Never. You know, that's a great question because Target opened after she started her show. That's a wonder. I guarantee she has. Maybe it's a beach chair or something. She probably gave a nickel to a homeless guy and filmed it outside of Target once. Probably. Can Oprah go anywhere and not be recognized as Oprah? She has security guards. It's the same with any celebrity. Can you imagine getting ushered into Target?
By your security people? I don't think it'd be worth the hassle for her if she had to have security around her. I know the feeling. Do you? Yeah. You got to deal with that, right? Hey, listen. Comes to the territory. Comes to the territory, man. That's what you signed up for. What about George W.'s drinking, Laura? A lot has been written about Laura Bush giving George Bush an ultimatum to stop drinking when their twin daughters were around four years old. Do you guys know that? Yeah. Yeah, I think it's a little bit of a boo sound. You say, I never said the line, it's either Jim Beam or me. That was from the movie W. I was not going to. They say that in W? I think maybe something like that. It's either Jim Beam or me. To leave George, and I wasn't going to let him leave me with twins. Our marriage was enduring. We loved each other, and we were two people who did not have divorce in our DNA. But I was disappointed, and I let him know that I thought he could be a better man. How did you do that? Well, I talked about it a lot. Drinking was a very accepted part of our social life in Midland. There was a lot of drinking. You said the three B's. He did the three B's. And he liked to drink beer, bourbon, and B&B afterwards. What's B&B? And everyone drank. Scotch? Scotch, I think, yeah. B&B scotch? Maybe. I think it is.
Well, there was the B&Cs, which was bourbon and coke. And cocaine. Cocaine. Not a cola. I mean, George certainly wasn't the only one. And a lot of women drank a lot, too. It was not just the men. So it started to bother you? It did. And George's dad was vice president. And we had the girls. And, you know, I knew that George was drinking too much. And I knew that he didn't want to do that. And that's not really his personality. George is very, very disciplined. He's a very disciplined athlete. He exercises every single day. I couldn't believe you said he would drink and then go out and run for hours. That's what he would do the next day so he wouldn't feel bad to get rid of a hangover. Pretty crazy. Had no idea. 570-1949 is our phone number. You want to text us? You can do that too. 949mikey at gmail.com. M1 Josh is on the line. Hi, Josh. How are you? What's going on? I need some advice. Some marriage advice, I guess, would be the best way to summarize. I guess the short story is that my wife is almost like a drill sergeant. She is trying to run every aspect of my life. I can't really take it anymore. What do you mean? Well, she kind of always monitors my activities. It kind of breaks down. You can watch this much TV this week.
You can go out with your friends this many nights. You can play golf this many nights. But we're going to have our time these nights. We're going to go out this night and have a date night. Why does she do that? Well, when we first got married, we kind of talked about it and felt like it might be good to kind of organize things a little bit and be like, yeah, we'll plan to spend these times together. And I was like, yeah, that sounds good. We'll be able to work things out where we can set a time. Time for each other and time for ourselves. So I was into it, and I was like, yeah, that sounds good. But it's gotten to the point now where it's like I don't feel like I have my own time. It's like I have a little block that she's cut out of my week, and she's like, oh, yeah, you can go do what you want there, but you've got to be back. Sounds kind of like a mom. Yeah, it's like living with my mom now. I agree with Sienna except for the kind of part. Yeah, exactly. Trying to be nice. Yeah, it sounds completely like a mom. Yeah. But you've heard me say this before. And I'll say it again. I don't think it's any surprise. And so I would have to say to M1 Josh, are you really surprised? And the reason that I say that is we know who we're getting involved with. And if they talked about it. I mean, yeah. Unless you got into a relationship and you suddenly find out that they're the type of personality that's like, this is what we're going to do. And this is what you're.
Like, that's not the kind of thing. You know it. In fact, more often than not, it's what we're attracted to because it's what we're used to. We grew up that way. We had a mom that was, you either have, if you have a real passive mom, most of the times a guy, you're going to find a woman that's very passive. If you have an extremely bossy mom who's very controlling, you're probably going to find a woman that's very bossy. It's true. My mom's very maternal and took care of me. And so that's who I married. That's Jamie. That's her to a T. Josh, you said that you guys decided together. What did you decide together exactly? Yeah. Well, she's a lot better, you know, with organization. And that's, you know, like you said, I like that. I like that she's very organized and very put together because that's not one of my strong suits. But, you know, we kind of were like, you know, let's try to divide up our weeks a little bit. And I'm thinking like, yeah, well. You know, we'll kind of loosely go with, you know, I'll have, you know, Saturday nights we'll be, we go out together. And Tuesday nights I can go out with the guys and blah, blah, blah. And it just kind of snowballed. And all of a sudden, like, I have a freaking calendar for my week where I have to be, you know, I have places I have to be every moment of the day. I feel like I just can't break free at all. And do you mean that you literally, do you mean literally that you have, did she, where does this manifest itself? Does she write it on a calendar? She's got, yeah.
She's got, like, a calendar on the fridge where she kind of, you know, it's one of those, like, dry erase things, and she just kind of writes things in. So you, wait, wait, wait. I can go there, and she can be like, well, no, you knew. You had to go here. Oh, God. But, I mean, do you guys work a lot or something? Like, I mean, what else would you be doing if she wasn't telling you what to do? Well, I mean, we both work full time, you know, but I just, I don't want to feel like I have to check in, like, every 10 seconds. Yeah, you know, I want to be able to just, you know, go out and let her know I'm not going to be running off doing whatever. I want to know about your average day. So you wake up in the morning, the first thing you do is you go to work. You come home from work probably around dinner time, and she may be the same. So I understand why she wants to spend time with you. But would you be, like, going out for drinks with guys after work? Would you be coming home and playing video games and not seeing her? Is that why she feels like she needs to do this? I'm just trying to see from her point of view why she would be telling you what to do. She just likes to have it organized. You know, it's not like I would, you know, be going out and not telling her that I'm going out with the guys. But I would like, you know, the option where, you know, my friends call me spur of the moment like Wednesday afternoon and say, hey, some of us are going out tonight. I can't do that because we've already got plans that Wednesday night that if I break, she gets pissed off because, you know, I already knew that we had this plan. There's no freedom. You mentioned golf? Yeah, yeah.
What? I have to plan golf weeks out, like, you know, almost a month in advance. Oh, my gosh. Dude, why'd you sign up for this? I didn't know I was going to get this back. Just tell her. Be like, this is getting out of control. It sounds like it's gotten progressively worse. And so it sounds like at the beginning, hey, it's cool. I got a little structure in my life like me. I've got a little more structure. I got a little more structure in my life now with Jamie here. Yeah. But if it got to the point where she was printing out a calendar and, you know, leaving it on the door for me every day. Now, if she's like, hey, will you stop by the store and do that? Yeah, no problem. But on a daily basis, her saying, and remember, you can't go out Friday night with the Winder and Dorian. You got to, you got to, we got to do this. How crazy would it be if before you even make plans with Winder and Dorian, you got to go to the fridge and look at the dryer. And make sure that I can. I mean, I don't understand why you just don't go. Yeah, this isn't working. This ain't going to happen. Are you scared to tell her that this is getting out of control? Is that what the deal is? Well, I mean, I brought it up. I mean, we haven't had like a real serious like sit down, you know, come to Jesus kind of thing. But I don't know. It's time for a serious sit down, come to Jesus. Yeah, man. Sounds like out of control. Absolutely. And, you know, the thing that I'm struggling with in my head is.
There seems to me there's good sense in having a calendar to keep you organized. For sure. Especially because I'm like you, Josh. I'm a scatterbrain and I have to keep everything on a calendar that emails me. My calendar emails me and reminds me to do things like take vitamins. Right. And so I need that, too. But what I don't get is the this is when you get to do this and this is when you get to do that, you know, where it starts to intrude on your. personal recreational time well yeah like the cool thing is about my wife is that i can go to her tonight and say hey listen uh mikey and i are gonna go hit balls tomorrow after work just want to let you know i'm not asking you yeah like i'm gonna this is what i'm doing if you need me to do something let me know and i'll make sure to plan what i already have planned around that josh can you put the honest hat on i'm gonna ask you to put on the honest cap and i'm gonna ask you a question i want you to be extraordinarily honest. Okay. You know your wife, so I want you to tell us what would happen if you started to violate the terms of the calendar. Oh, I'm scared. She would feel really hurt, like I wasn't respecting her and respecting her relationship. For her, I think it's a priority thing. If I don't respect that organization, then I'm not
taking care of, you know, like our relationship and our time. And that, that means it's not important to me. When we know someone really well, we're generally able to anticipate what that person might say. What might she say to you? What would it look like if she was hurt about that? What would she say? I want you to try to reenact what she may say to you. Like if I told her that it wasn't working for me. Yes. I just want it out. Yeah. Yep. Probably just confusion and, you know, like I said, hurt. And what about this one? What about if, you know, what about if she had something on there like the scheduled thing was home time or something like that, you know? And you went and played, you know, you went and hit some golf balls with your buddies. What would she say? When you came home. Yeah, when you walked in the door, you know her. After you missed your appointment of home time. You got your sticks and your golf bag over your shoulder. You got your visor on. Your visor on. And you walk in sweaty and you're like, yeah, I purposefully didn't stay here. I decided to go hit balls because I'm a grown man. And Josh, you got a little bit of that sunscreen, white sunscreen just stuck on your nose there, just on the corner of your nose when you walk in the door. And you got that sweaty sort of.
Yeah. You know, I've been out in the sun all day. Golf stink. Yeah, you got that golf stink on and you're taking the sunglasses off. Sunglass tan. Hey, babe, what's for dinner? Wow. What does she say? Well, the first thing would be, why didn't you answer, you know, my 14 phone calls? Oh, my God. You know, that would have happened well before I even got in the door. Crazy. No, she's going to say something like. Babe, you know, you agreed to this. Like, it's not just me. You said you wanted to do this. I think it would sound more like when you decided not to pick up those 14 phone calls, you deliberately disrespected this family, our relationship, and most of all, the calendar. Oh, my gosh. You have to meet in the middle. I'm thinking you just have to sit down, not angry, calm down, get to a calm place, and just say, babe. This is getting a little nuts. I totally agree with you helping me stay organized because that is your strength and it is my weakness. It is very important to me that we continue to have our weekly date night and maybe another activity during the week. But I am a grown man and I miss my friends and they're giving me a hard time. I want to do some of the things I like to on my own free time. Yeah. And then try telling her to keep her eyes on her own. No, don't do that. You know what you do? Just get her drunk. Get her drunk.
Get her drunk, then tell her. Woods. No, that's a verse. Don't listen to her. Give her a couple cocktails. Yeah, be honest. Be honest. Kim and I do a thing. If I don't go out and do a bunch of stuff, she gets used to having me around all the time. But then if I start riding my bike a lot, the first time I go ride, she's like, really? And I'm like, yeah. And the next time I go, she's like, oh, you're going to go ride your bike. Next time she's like, oh, good. You're going to go ride your bike. That's true. That's totally true. People get used to patterns and normalcy. And once you disrupt that, all of a sudden we go. It's like, wait a minute. You're not going to be here? This week, since Jamie's been here, it's been nice. I've gone home, and I've taken a nap. But she's like, I want to go out and see San Diego. We've sat in our place. And I'm like, you've got to give me a week to get back up to speed. And so the schedule this week is going to be different than the schedule next week. She's got to be able to adapt. Your wife needs to be able to adapt like mine does. Hey, listen. Conversation time, Josh. Yeah, and don't have it in a defensive way like, well, I want to go do this. You have to have it when things are not tumultuous. Don't bring it up defensively. Be proactive about it. And this is key. You can't just purposefully not do some of the stuff on there. You've got to have that conversation. Instead of just not showing up at places that she expects you to be, that's that passive-aggressive thing. That will just infuriate if you just flout her.
I don't want to say authority, but flout her. That's good. On Cinco de Mayo, dude, to be flouting. I get it. I get it. M1, Chris is on the line. Chris, you there? Yeah, what's up, Mikey? Not too much. Go ahead. Hey, I was going to say, you know what? Something similar was going on with me in the beginning. Sure, having kids took it. But little by little, my wife came around and I had to just say, this is what I'm doing. Tomorrow, I'm going fishing or next week or whatever it was. But little by little, you just got it. It's tough. Josh, sit her down. Hold your own ground. Josh, what do you think of that? I'm just good advice. I mean, it's a little scary. It's definitely new territory for me. Thank you, Josh. I appreciate the phone call. You can do it, man. You can do it. Yeah. You got to have that conversation. There's not two ways around it. Imagine living the rest of your life. It's a calendar like that. Like, okay. Hey, by the way, the toxicology reports are in on Corey Haim. When we come back, I'm going to tell you how he died.

And the 805 southbound after Home Avenue. There's a ladder in the number two lane. This one's really bad, though. On the 15 northbound at Adams Avenue. It's time for the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. Good morning to you. This is Bird from Dragon Eyewear with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report for a Wednesday morning being brought to you by the good folks at Guayaquil Yerba Mate. New flavors are out, cans and bottles. Check out your local locations to pick some up and try it out. Delicious stuff. Surf-wise today and starting off kind of slow, we're looking at a fill-in out of the south-southwesterly swell direction. A little bit of new northwest wind swell joining in as well, so it's up a little bit from yesterday.
Looking at needed waste, chest high surf on average, the larger sets of the standout spots are likely to improve in size as the day continues. The bummer is, though, a cold front little small eddy condition has settled down upon us, meaning that the temperatures have dropped off a bit. And worse than that, we've got a south-southeasterly wind flow. So a lot of spots that would be fun have a kind of a crumble bump on them right now. The more protected areas from those wind flows, though, are looking okay and clean. And, again, they should improve throughout the day. If the wind lies down, most spots will get better as well as we are heading towards a higher tide towards midday. Beach breaks kind of crossed up. Pikachu's corners to be had there and the top south-facing reef areas showing a little bit more direction than they have over the last couple of days, too. So kind of a 50-50 scenario right now. Have to see how the day lays out. For up-to-the-minute surf reports forecast, go to surfline.com. Now, there were drugs in his system, but not enough to call a drug-related death. Wow. So crazy. And his mom was saying, you know, no, he's been a lot better. He hasn't been taking drugs. And she's been saying it. People are like, oh, yeah, sure. Corey Feldman said the same thing. Remember, we saw him on Larry King and he's like, you know, give it some time. Give it some time. Let it come out. You know what, though? Here's the thing. I can't imagine that pneumonia would kill an average healthy person that hasn't.
Done a ton of drugs. 38 years old. And they also found an extremely large amount of swelling in his lungs. From probably drugs? Maybe previous, right? Yeah. Previous drug use. But they're saying that it was natural causes. That's what they're calling it. You take a bunch of that stuff, right? Okay. And then you're, you obviously don't feel well. And then you get pneumonia and then you pass away. I mean, it's. Yeah. There were low levels of Prozac, Valium, THC. tranquilizers, stuff like that. GHC's weed. Yeah. Muscle relaxers. A lot of stuff. A lot of stuff. We're doing something called Tudor Tuesday. So we want you to go to MikeyShow.com T-U-D-O-R. No. T-U-T-O-R. T-U-T-O-R. Oh, I thought it was D too. It's Tudor like Tudor me. Tudor. Which is the best part. It's so awesome. Yeah, man. I mean, the ADI is awesome. The Autism Discovery Institute, our son Jake, went to their toddler school. And it really helped Jake. And they're just a really good organization. Rady Children's Hospital ADI. So go to MikeyShow.com and bid to be in that foursome in front of us or behind us. It's going to be really cool. I can't wait. Sienna Bitter Lip. You guys ever done that? Oh, yeah. Daily. I have like those like vampire things kind of. We all do. Canine teeth or whatever. Incisors. Are they sharp? Yes. I think I need to get them filed down. Yeah. They're sharp. But I bit my lip over the weekend and I keep re-biting it. And it was so bad. When I was at the airport miserable with Todd, we actually got in a fight over me biting my lip over and over again. How? What was the fight?
I'm emotional right now. I'm pregnant, you know. And I started crying because I was chewing on gum and it made me re-bite it. And when you re-bite it, it hurts even worse. So I was like, I just want to get on a plane. How did you fight? Because he was like, why are you chewing the gum? Spit the gum out. You've bit your lip like three times. And what did you do? You were like, but I just want the gum. I don't know. Wow. Like, I don't mean to bite it. Have you guys ever fought over something really, really stupid? Oh, man. So many times. I, with my ex-boyfriend, like, I'm kind of a goofy person, if you guys haven't noticed. I have. So we were out at a bar, and we were, like, having a good time, snapping our fingers, jumping and jiving, whatever. I'm imagining her jumping and jiving. And I was like, okay, now dip me. And he's like, no, I'm not going to do that. I'm like, No, seriously. Come on. Dip me. And I was, like, in position, like, ready to be dipped. Like, you know. Like, lean back. Okay. The dance move. And he's like, knock it off. I'm not going to dip. Knock it off. Yeah. And so I was, like, stomping my feet. I'm like, just dip me. And he's like, no. No, I'm not going to do it.
Because you're telling me to do it. And so I started crying. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And his friends are like, what's the matter? I'm like, he won't do it. Lauren O'Brien. That is crazy. How many Guinnesses did you have? I was just going to ask. Eight. Eight. I just want a big gem. Were you buzzed, drunk, or over drunk? I buzzed. You were buzzed. Yep. It's fantastic. That's weak. I would have been like, we're no longer dating. We had already been fighting about other stuff during the week. So that was like the icing on the cake. I was like, just do it. Can you imagine getting into a fight with your girlfriend because you didn't differ? The thing that's hysterical about it, the thing that's hysterical about it is that, and I've said this before, we are all. grown up children. We're just children. We're man children. Yeah, we're man and women children. I wish I would have been drunk whenever I got in the fight with Kim this last week. Was it last week? No, it was actually the week before. What happened? I came home, I'm sitting there working on the show and she's like, oh, by the way, the sun's starting to go down. Did I tell you that your turtle from your pond was out in front? It was like sunning itself out in the street. I stood up and I said, what?
Your turtle? When did this happen? She goes, oh, it was earlier in the day, you know, probably before you get, about one or so. I'm like, and you waited all this time to tell me about my turtle out of the road. Could it have gotten hit by a car? Oh, it could have gotten hit by a car. Jay, why do you have a turtle? I have a pond. I built a pond in my yard. Of course you did. You do? 46-year-old man. I've been in your yard. I know. Yeah, you haven't been in my pond. Oh, I guess I haven't. Do you understand, though? Do you hear this? This is the same reaction that you would get from a seven-year-old. Where's my turtle? Where's my turtle out of the street? Well, it's so funny, because Jay and I carpooled, like, two weeks ago. And, you know, we're, like, talking, like, personal life, like, relationship advice kind of things. He's like, you know, married life has its own series of problems, too. Like, just the other day, like, Kim, let my turtle go out. And you got to keep a straight face. He was telling me the whole story. She was like, what? I wasn't getting it. I was like, so. What did she do wrong? Yeah. You're like, why were you? He's like, here's the thing. Like, he could get out. He could get hit by a car.
And she waited all day to tell me? Yeah. And you're like, so what part was, you know, what was the bad part? Is he okay? Could you not text me? That's what I said to her. I said, could you, you know, you know how to text, right? Yeah, he was like, wow. She's texting me and calling me all day about everything else under the sun. Now, Jay, your wife, Kim, knows you better than anybody. So was she surprised by your reaction or was it totally not par for the course for her? She knows that I get sometimes it's like I'm Gemini, which I never thought meant anything. But I will flip on a switch. And it's like she just knows because my daughter's just like me. She knows to let it run its course. And then she'll come back. So now how do you feel about that turtle? And I'm like, yeah, I understand. You have to just walk away. I went out there. I was cutting the limbs off the tree because the reason he gets out of the yard, there's a lemon tree that goes over the pond. And if he doesn't get enough sun, he starts looking for sun. That's great. Sienna. What's the turtle's name? He's Hank. Hank the turtle. Unbelievable. Sienna, tell the story because I just remembered this. Tell the story about the shirt. Oh, my God. This is great. John and I got in a fight over a shirt one time.
I'm not kidding. I don't know what we were doing, but he had a shirt on. And I was like, that's one of my favorite shirts I've got you. And he's like, what do you mean I got this shirt? I picked this shirt out. I was like, no, I gave it to you as a gift. He's like, no, I picked it. And it turned into this blowout fight over a shirt. And whether or not I gave it to him or not. Please call us with these. 570-1949. Call us with the stupidest thing. And you have to be an adult. Like, you know, I want to hear from grownups and the dumbest thing that you fought over. I used to regularly mix it up with Rebecca because she wouldn't shut the closet door. Yeah. Regularly. Shocking. And it turns into, like, huge fights over something so dumb. Yeah. You know, I like the closet door shut because light comes streaming in from it. And I'll see the closet door open. And in my head, I'll be like, how many times do we have to have the closet door conversation before it finally kicks in? I'm so glad my wife is not a fighter because I am a...
And I'm a grumpy D. You guys have to have gotten into some battles. Oh, yeah. We've gotten in a million fights. Are you the starter? You're the igniter? Yes, always. Of course he is. What would happen? We would spontaneously combust if Woods and I were ever in a relationship. It would be the most destructive relationship. Five minutes. Because that Irish tornado over there. Lauren O'Brien. Irish cyclone. Her and Woods, who's combustible, the two of them together. Can you imagine? Two igniters. Yeah. Well, Jamie is just, she's just not a fighter. She doesn't like, like, so in the middle of the night, for instance, the other night we were laying there and my dog Shooter, something's wrong with his ears. So he gets up and he does the, and shakes his head. Right. And I'm like, I lay there once. I'm like, all right, just shut up and go back to sleep. So I go back to sleep. Again. Mother. And I get up. And then again. Of course, it's 1.30, and my alarm's going to go off in an hour and a half. And I just start cursing and yelling, and I'm mad at her. I don't know why. It's always our fault. She just sits there, and she's like, I hate you. I hate you. You're dead, man. So she doesn't say anything. Not a word. She's silent. Not silent. It worked. And I'm pitching a fit, like a six-year-old. Because the dog's ears. The dog's ears. Let me tell you.
The kid, when he gets wound up, he can get wound up. Oh, bad. Yeah. M1 Public is on the line. Public, you there? Yeah, yeah. Dumbest thing you fought over? It was a jar of pasta sauce. Ooh, wait. Why? I had been dating this girl. It was only the second week we were dating. And she was going to make dinner like spaghetti, right? And so I pick out Prego, which is my absolute favorite. Mine too. What's up with guys in Prego? It's good. Delicious. So, like, I pick it out just like automatic reaction, you know? And I didn't know that at the time, but she assumed I was going to pay for it since I picked it out. And so I buy my beer, and I leave the prego sauce in her cart. And she says this smart aleck remark right in front of the register girl. And I'm just like, well, I really wish she would have told me that. And, like, so I said something right back at her, right in front of her, and we started getting into it. Oh, gosh. Right at the register. Over Prego. And I'm just like, oh, my gosh. Two weeks. How long did you guys date? Like three weeks. Wow. I was going to say, how long was Prego a sensitive word? It was crazy because I've known her for like 15 years. And we never really, we dated in high school for like a couple of months. And then like she moved away. And then we kind of started hanging out again. And we tried almost to start dating again. And all of a sudden, like the first week was like.
sparks high emotions ran high you know it was great and then all of a sudden like the prego fighting over the dumbest things let's name their son prego yeah well that reminds me of a story one time jamie got really into organic food she's like everything's gonna be organic and i'm like all right cool like great well i come home and she's like i made spaghetti with this organic pasta sauce it tasted like squirrel What I would imagine squirrel to taste like, I swear. And I literally took a bite and I was like, threw it in the sink and was like, great, great. Can't even get regular spaghetti here. Tastes like a squirrel. And we actually was like, it tastes fine. And I'm like, it does not taste fine. It tastes like squirrel. Squirrel out of all things. So we brawled over pasta sauce too, so you're not the only one. I remember Rebecca having a real serious conversation with me one time where she was upset. And she's like, you don't watch Lost with me. And we used to watch Lost. And remember when we used to talk about Lost? And I'm like, babe, I just said, well, can't we just watch Lost? Can't you just watch one episode of Lost with me? Can we watch Lost? I'm like, are we having a conversation right now about the TV show Lost? Does that make us huge D's? Because, like, Jamie will, she'll watch baseball with me. Yeah.
I will not watch Dancing with the Stars. I will not watch The Biggest Loser. I will not watch American Idol. Am I a giant D? Oh, I'm the same way as Jamie. And it sucks. I point it out all the time to Todd. Notice how I'm sitting here quietly watching the Lakers right now. Will you watch American Idol with me? No. No. It's a little jerky. It's totally jerky. You're selfish. But here's the thing. Last night, the preview for the new Sex and the City comes on. I go. Well, guess May 27th. I know what we're doing. I'm taking you to see that because I know you really want to see it. So that kind of makes sense. But I don't like these stupid shows. Wouldn't she rather go with her girlfriends? She doesn't have any girlfriends here. Oh, we'll go with her. Oh, wow. That was just a hen attack right there. Every girl wants to go see that. I kind of want to see it, so I think I'm going to take it. M1 Samantha? Yeah. You got into a fight over what? Spoiler paper. Which way it comes out? Because he likes the toilet roll to be over. And he was in there and he's trying to come pull it out. And it wouldn't come out the way he's used to it. And I looked at his face when he came out of the bathroom. He's kind of nodding his head. And I was like, what's wrong? And he's like, I don't know. I don't know why you don't get it.
It's not that hard. Why can't you just leave it over for me? The over is the right way, by the way. It doesn't matter. The over is the right way. I was cleaning, and I was in a hurry, and I just put it in, and I'm not concepting that it's got to be an issue for him to pull it over. My wife says the same thing. She says she doesn't even notice what way that she puts it on. Me neither. But now you do, so why don't you? I was cleaning. I said, get over yourself. He said, get over myself. It's just put it over. It's not that hard. Put it under. I didn't know it was hard for you. Well, do you have a preference if it's over or under? No, I mean... So why don't you just put it over? No, because she's not insane. I was laughing at the Cole commercial thinking how stupid we are that... You know Samantha and Woods and Rebecca. You know Samantha, Woods, and Rebecca. You guys are the it doesn't matter. So Sienna's right. If it doesn't matter, just do it. Do it the way he would. Are you insane? If it doesn't matter. Who notices that? What's the, what's the, what is the. It's this bit. It's the twisted wrist. Oh, you really have to go. Yeah. It's a twisted wrist. And then if the square gets caught. Watch this. No, you can't do that when it's behind the roll.
I'm sure you can. It's devastating. Who touches their toilet paper like that? Woods, have you ever seen the commercials? Have you ever seen the commercials where they're like, tired of trying to cut tomatoes like this? And the person, for whatever reason, they're like, oh! They can't handle a knife. That's the commercial they want to make with the toilet paper. Tired of taking it. You get lobster claw hands. You get lobster claw trying to take it off. Oh, no. The next scene, you have a cast on. Yeah, you get a cast on. You're sitting on the couch. Screw it again. Carpal tunnel syndrome. You're popping pills on the couch, you know, recovering from your carpal tunnel. They're like, now we've got a device that'll take the toilet paper over the top of the room. And they show someone with two upturned wrists, and they're like, if I just would have known. I have a new bit with the toilet paper. I just put it between my legs. I just leave it on the floor now. Really? Just leave it on the floor. Oh, my God. I don't put it on the thing. If my wife walked into our bathroom and saw a toilet paper roll sitting on the floor, she'd vomit. Really? Oh, she'd be like, what are we, in a barn? Yeah. And I'd say, yes, we are. Yes, we're living in a barn. We're living in a barn. Move. Move. Let's see. This is pretty good. This is really good. M1, Danielle. Are you there, Danielle?
Yes, I'm here. You got into a fight with your husband over what? The TV show, Frasier. Oh, my God. Frasier. Why? Because, okay, we have been drinking, of course. Frasier. I put it on Frasier and he was like, oh, I hate this show. It's so stupid. And I was like, it's the best show of all time. What are you talking about? And he was like, no, it's stupid enough. I'm like, you're just too stupid. Yeah. You know what? I don't even want to watch a stupid show because it's the stupidest show. The only thing stupid in this room is you. Oh, really? I'm a stupid one? Yeah. Well, then why would we watch the Frasier? Because you're too stupid to watch the Frasier. But you can't even spell Frasier. You don't even spell stupid. Who went to USC? So do I. Where'd you go? I went to a community college and I went to USC. So who knows Frazier? You got Fs the whole time, idiot. Oh, really? Yeah. Oh, really? Well, at least I went there when I had it. What starts with F? Frat. What about frat? I was in one. Were you in a frat? Yeah, let go of it. What sorority were you in? God, Pete. Kappa Kappa Lusa? Kappa Kappa Shut Up. Kappa Kappa I'll Do Everybody.
Oh, that's it. That's fine. Okay. That's it. Fine, then. That's how it sounded, right, Danielle? Yes, pretty much. Thank you. A little higher volume, but yeah. That's classic. For sure. How about M1 Michael? What happened, Michael? Okay, so, you know, my wife and I have been married for almost 10 years now. And the biggest problem we've always had in our relationship is that I always spend way too much money, and she's like the penny pincher. And so her birthday comes up recently, and I'm thinking, Okay, I want to spend about $5,000 on her this year for her birthday. $5,000? Holy cow. Shut your mouth. Shut your mouth. You're making us look bad. Oh, my gosh. $5,000. I'm thinking, okay, I go into Tiffany's thinking, okay, I'll spend $5,000. So I look around the store for a good hour, and I find these tiny little rings that have all these different kind of colors on them, very beautiful, but they're very small stones, right? Yeah. And I look at the price tag, and they're like, you know, $1,500 a ring. So I'm thinking, okay, I can get about three of those rings for about $5,000, somewhere around there. Wow. So I get them, and I'm all excited to give them to her. I can't wait to give them to her. I get home. I give her to them like a week early, right? Uh-huh. And she opens them up. She's like, oh, they're okay, you know? And I'm like, okay. And so she's like, let's go take them back to Tiffany's and see if we can get different colors. So we go back to Tiffany's, and of course she looks at the price tag, and she becomes livid, like, that I spent so much money for these rings.
And I'm thinking, okay, I just totally want to express my love for her. Hey, why not get a Bentley? I know. I mean, dude, listen, I'm all with you trying to be sweetheart. You guys are tight on cash, and you decided to spend $5,000? Doesn't sound like they're tight on cash, though. No, we're not tight on cash. Oh, you're not tight on cash. No, she's just the frugal one in the relationship. No, he is. No, she is. He is. She is. So you could afford the $5,000? Yeah. Well, then that's weird. Oh, no. I see your point. Why? Like exactly what you said. It's like if you can get something much more practical for $5,000, I didn't need these little colored rings that I'm not a huge fan of. But if he can afford it and whatever, what's the deal? She's just much more practical than he is, it sounds like. You guys fought about it? Oh, yeah, absolutely. It's been a big issue for us in our relationship because I always want, like, the Taj Mahal. Yeah. And she always wants to get a killer deal on it. Does she work? She wants the Howard Johnson. Right. Does she work? Yeah, she does, but she does because she loves it and she's really good at what she does. Yeah. I was going to say, if you're the breadwinner, man, you spend the money how you want. Michael makes money. Do you need an apprentice? Thank you. Thank you, Michael. This one's great. This one's great. M1 Sunshine? Yeah. What'd you guys fight about?
Okay, so my husband has this NBA basketball game. This is like newly married first apartment. And I'm like, okay, you know, I'll play with you. And he's like, all right. So we start playing and I'm trying to learn. I'm just pressing a bunch of buttons. I don't know what I'm doing. And like five minutes into the game, it's like 100 to like five. And I'm like, this sucks. Like, this isn't fun. Like, why am I playing with you? You're just beating me. You're not even teaching me how to play. And he's like, whoa, whoa. Like, what's the big deal? I'm like, well, I want to play with you. You're, you know, killing me like 140. This isn't fun. And so we're into this big old fight and I'm like almost crying because he's beating her at 104. They got into a fight because he's beating her at PlayStation. That's a fight I would get into 100%. I've been in that fight. You've had that fight. Are you guys insane? Not about PlayStation. Can a woman... Okay, Sunshine, I need the female brain to unpack this for me. Explain to me how you get into a fight over... A video game. What she just said. She's like, how's this fun for me? Yeah, he should teach her how to play. Why not? How about laughing? You're just playing. You're a bully. You're just doing this because you know you're good at it. So I got to throw the game because you don't know what you're doing. No, but just teach me. This sounds really familiar. This is so weird right now. Like, I feel like I'm in Bizarro Land. I have two women shaking their head like, how do you not get this? How do you not get that? Me and Woods are looking at each other like, are they freaking out of their minds? Yeah, are you guys nuts? Are you crazy? Teach us all your little tricks.
Look, we're playing you. You should be happy you have someone to play with, okay? Why? I'd rather play the computer. That's what I would have said. Why don't you just play the computer? Why did you even ask me to? I didn't. You grabbed a controller. But you asked me to play. You're always sniffing around my business. It totally reminds me, Kim and I were playing Q-Bert, and we had Q-Bert, an old video game, and we were putting quarters in, but we were only playing one player, but we were taking turns, and it was her turn to play, and I swished with her, and she jumped right off the pyramid, and I was like... What did you just do? We've got to start all over again. 570-1949. Call us with the stupidest fight you've ever been in. Like the thing that you fought about that was the dumbest thing you've ever fought about. So I want to see what Woodsy thinks of this song because I love this artist. And Woodsy talked the other day about how he likes that singer that sings like this. Jeff Buckley. Yeah, Jeff Buckley. So I thought you might like this. Yes, he does. The vibrato king. This is Phil Wickham. Really? We'll be right back. With your calls about the dumbest fight you've ever... Look at the dumbest fight. 570-1949. Dumbest fight. Dumbest fight. We'll be in Lauren right now. Does he not? You did say that he's... You are my love. Mikey Show now. Call 570-1949. Or shoot him a text. 949Mikey at gmail.com. More coming up on FM 94.9.

What's the stupidest thing that you've thought about? With your boyfriend or your girlfriend or your husband or your wife. A lot of food fights in my house. Literally? Like, not throwing food at each other, but, like, Jamie texts me and she goes, how about when we can't decide on what we want to eat and then you turn into a woman and slam on the brakes and just go home and just turn around and say, you know what, never mind. We'll just go home. I think every couple has gotten into that fight. Where do you want to go eat? I don't know. Where do you want to go eat? I don't know. I picked the last time. You pick, you know. Yeah, I'll just make a sandwich. It's fine.
Let's drink a sandwich. You know what's great about that conversation is that Sienna gave her version of it. Woods gave his version of it. And it's the same fight, but they sound slightly different. Rebecca and I, we do silent treatment food fight. Oh, boy. Where we do this. It'll sound like this. Babe, where do you want to go? And there's long silence because we've had this fight 80 times. And then she goes, I don't know, whatever. And I go. Indecisive bit. Right. And I go. Why don't you decide? Because you only eat like five things. Yeah, my wife eats five things. Yeah. Yep. So we'll have the same. I think every single couple has the where are we going to eat five. Why is it so hard to figure out? I don't know. But then once finally somebody does pick something, the other person inevitably is like.
Yep. Fine. Whatever. We went there last time. I'm tired of fighting about it. I guess I will choke down the stir fry or whatever. You're like, why don't you pick then if you're going to get irritated about where I picked. And then inevitably after you concede, they're like, fine, forget it. Where do you want to go? And you're like, well, I want to go here. And they're like. Why didn't you say that? It's just double, like, conceding and then sighing about it. Awful. Here's a fight that had to do with food. M1 Bobby. Bobby, you there? What's up, Mike? Yeah, I'm here. What did you guys fight about? We were sitting at McDonald's and I picked up my hamburger. She goes, why are you eating your hamburger upside down? I was like, what are you talking about? Like, your bun's on the bottom. Oh, my God. That would be weird. I was like, it's all going to the same place, right? Oh, that would drive me nuts. I would be like, flip it around. Lauren, would it make you irritated? I would be like, why are you eating it like that? Don't worry about it. You know Lauren though.
It has to be the right way. Like, there's the right way. There's the wrong way. And if it's not organized properly, if the hamburger is not pointed the right direction, can you just turn your hamburger? I hate watching people eat as it is. Like, especially when, like, if you're eating a hamburger and whatever condiment you've decided to put in there starts coming out on your fingers. It kind of makes me want to vomit. Bro, it's disgusting. Bro, you know, this is, we get in fights. I'll tell you what. Nine out of every ten times we go through the drive-thru. Nine out of ten. We pull up. Yeah, welcome to McDonald's. I'm going to take your order. I'm like, yes, you can. I would like a number one with a Dr. Pepper. What do you want? What do you want? What does number one say? What do you want? It's a Big Mac. What do you want? Fine. And the number seven, crispy chicken. Okay, number seven. We get up to the thing. Hey, $7. Here you go. Thank you very much. Get extra ketchup. I need extra ketchup. I'm sure there's ketchup in the bag. No, I need more ketchup than you gave us. I need a lot more than you gave us. I haven't even looked at how much is in there, but I know I need more. But I know that we need more. Then we get home, one ketchup packet gets used. There's 40 ketchups in the bottom of the bag. And I just sit there and I'm beating my head against the wall. As a show, what do we fight about every Monday? Food. Absolutely. We fight about food. It's the worst. I dread Mondays here. I dread them. Listen, so we do a Monday meeting where we meet.
for nine and a half hours. They're literally four to five hours each meeting. So we meet about the show and we have a conversation that lasts for an hour about what we're going to eat. And this last week, Woods wrote an email on Sunday and said, can't wait to feast on those delicious chicken salad sandwiches tomorrow. And Lauren immediately responds and goes, I'm already anxious. That just already made me anxious. And then Jay's going to come in. Everybody agrees, fine, let's do the sandwiches. Jay's got to come in freewheeling from his little room in there and go, hey, I found a place that delivers pizza. Oh, great. And then everyone goes, ooh, pizza. Because the problem is, we get off the show at 10, so we go straight into our meeting. What places are open at 10 that deliver? The place that delivers the sandwiches is open. And they have them here real good and real fresh. Every week. 570. Yeah, every week. 570-1949. Give us a call right now and tell us what you got into the dumbest fight in the world about. M1, Brittany. Okay, so me and my boyfriend got into the dumbest fight over me beating him at rock, paper, scissors. Wow.
That's fantastic. We were having a rock, paper, scissor tournament, and I beat him twice in a row. Tournament. Stormed out of the room. We were both a little drunk. And he just, for the rest of the night, he wanted a rematch, but then he didn't want me to beat him in front of his friends. And he let me kiss him for the rest of the night. Oh, my gosh. It just turned into the hugest scene. How old are you? I'm 22. How old is he? He's 24. That's so awesome. That's amazing. And we've been together for like two years. These fights to me, I don't know why, they thrill me. Me too. At the time, you're like, it's not even about the rock, paper, scissors. It's about him being an idiot. It's about you always having to win. Yeah, yeah. M1 Bandit. Yeah, hi. What did you get in a fight over? My wife when I first got married, we got into a fight over how to fold the towels. Oh, I've been in that fight. Of course you have. What was the fight? Because I want to fold it half, then half, then half. Yeah. You want to do it third, then half, then half. And you guys got into it about it. Let me tell you. It's so ambiguous. Let me tell you something. If you are in a new relationship, somebody's listening right now, you're in a new relationship, I'm going to tell you, there are ways that you're used to doing things. And when you get into a relationship and you realize, oh, wow.
My significant other does things very different from the way I do. There's got to be discussion about it because the towel thing, sure, it's going to drive you nuts. And the older you get, the more you're going to have those. Oh, my God. We've been there 22 years now, so. Whose way did you go with? Whose way did you go with? Her way. Of course you did. You know that. Yeah, Woods just gave me the nod. When I asked the questions, Woods looked at me and went, you know whose way. You know whose way. Of course hers. Her way. Yeah, because we're all Sally. She's the one that probably hangs them up. She's the one that probably does it all. No, it sounded like he was in on folding them. He just had his own way. Yeah, I did the laundry, but she would go in and take them out and refold them. Oh, man. I would do the same thing. I had that same discussion with Matt. I was like, you know what? Just don't. Just don't. Because I'm going to have to refold it anyway. It's the best thing. That's how we get out of stuff. If you keep doing it wrong, eventually they're just going to tell you, listen. Don't even worry about vacuuming anymore. I hate the way you do it. You're like, OK, great. I don't have to. I like for all of my shirts to face. Oh, boy. One direction so that when I'm deciding on a shirt to wear, I can look at it and I don't have to like flip it, flip it around to see what we're dealing with here.
I asked Todd if that bothers him the other day because I just put his shirts in the closet and they're facing all different directions. I was surprised. He said, no, it doesn't bother him. He doesn't care? He didn't care. I was surprised by it. Mine? They're all facing one way. They're ordered by, like, category of what kind of clothes and then within that category, color coordinates. I did not know that you were a lunatic when we first started working together. You know how organized, right? I didn't know. Like, when I met Lauren, I was like, she was like... I'm freewheeling hippie. If you look at my car, it's got like dings all over it. I just like throw stuff in there, like whatever. But certain things, like if it makes my life easier, if they're just organized. I had no idea. Yeah. I did not know. You have your shoes all. Yeah. Very perfect. All the black heels go together, like organized. Me too. Organized by occasion. My closet looks like Buffalo Bill lives there. It's like Dirk Diggler and Boogie Nights. Yeah. These are organized by. Color as well as designer. My stuff is like, I got to have, well, t-shirts are here. And these are where the white t-shirts go, which should not be confused. You know where my folded laundry is right now? On top of a box. Would that drive you? I mean, boxers, jeans, t-shirts, a couple of pearl snap button downs. On top of a box. Right now, because you're moving, that's how my stuff's all out of whack. I'll leave them there for a year.
It will not bother me. I will take my stuff. I will wash clothes, dry them, leave them in the hamper, and pull clean clothes from the hamper. Oh, that's bad. That's wrinkly. I'll tell you this. This has got to be making Rebecca crazy right now. A couple of weeks ago, I got a box from American Eagle Outfitter of Clothes. Outfitter of Clothes. It's close. And the box, there's a couple of things that need to be returned. And they're in the box. Right. And the box is on our bedroom floor. Oh, gosh. I am the same. Next to my bed. Yeah. Okay. Next to my side of the bed. Okay. And it's been sitting there for two weeks. Are you waiting for her to? No. No, I'm not. I'm waiting to do it. Remember to do it and do it. But I know her. And I actually thought of it this morning and forgot again. It's got to be making her crazy that there's a box.
with clothes in it. But what do you do with it? You need a place to put it. You know, it's on your side. I'm the same way. I have, I borrowed one of my mom's purses when I went down to Puerto Vallarta over our vacation and I need to return it to her. So the time being, it's just sitting on my floor next to the bed. So I remember. She could have a bald eagle sitting on her side of the bed. I'd never know it. I don't notice. I don't care. I don't, you know what I mean? Yeah. And I know that she does what she used to do the bit where she was like, I'm going to leave it there. And then she realized, it'll stay there until he's 85. Until 2029. You're an enigma. Really? Yes, because I'm with you on the organization thing, the closet, the Buffalo Bill closet. But that would drive me nuts, the box sitting there. I don't know what to do with it. Cast the thing. No, you have to take it to a thing. So your answer to it would be to take care of it. See, I'm procrastinating. I would put it out of sight at least. Maybe in my car. You'll forget. Maybe in a cabinet. I actually thought to myself today, I'm going to put that in the car. In the trunk. And I forget. He'll forget. I remembered it right now. I'm saying it on the air. I just remembered it right now. Gotta do that tomorrow. I'll do that and there'll be things in my trunk for like three months. But at least they're not. I can't stand that out of its place.
Let's see. M1 Kelly texted in and said, me and my ex fought over soy milk. Of course, yeah, I would too. He was yelling at me because I didn't think it should be called milk since it's not from a cow. And we fought over that. I love it so much. I would fight with somebody if I came home and wanted to have a bowl of cereal and there was freaking soy milk. In the fridge. Yeah. I would throw the carton across the room. No. Yes. But imagine fighting over what it should be referred to. I mean, imagine a fight escalating. It would start because I'd go, it's not even milk. It would just be what, like soy juice? Yeah, soy juice. Just call it soy milk. Soy liquid. She believes that it should be called, yeah, soy liquid. Shouldn't be called milk. It shouldn't really be called milk. You guys want to know another thing that I bet adults fight over on the reg? What? Games. Games. Board games. Oh, dude. Yes. You get a bunch of people drinking beers and wine on a weekend night and you start playing Monopoly? Forget it. They had a Sopranos episode like that. They got in a fight over a board game. Really? Yeah. Bobby and Tony. M1Rolo, you there? Yeah. You got in a fight over Monopoly, right? I did. I did. With your wife or your girlfriend? With my girlfriend, who is now my wife. What was the fight about?
Specifically. I'm super competitive, as you know, Mikey. We have a rule. When you hit a spot and it's someone else to collect and they don't come up and say, hey, that's my spot. If the next person rolls, you go. You're done. You lose your cash. You forfeit. Absolutely. And so she says, no, no. You're on my spot. You're on my hotel. So I'm like, no way. No, no, no. You missed your window. Snooze, you lose. Yeah, you snooze, you lose. Yeah, that's the key. So, I mean, I was like, it is what it is. And she did not want to give it up. It's like playing Uno. If you don't call Uno when you have one card left and I call you before you say Uno, you're done. You've got to draw four, pal. I hate that. Can I just say this about Monopoly 2? Just to keep a lot of fights from occurring. Before you begin a game, of Monopoly with people that you don't know. Let's talk about free parking now and get it out of the way now. Let's talk about the made-up rules. All of our own little weird rules that we have. Let's discuss it now so that when we get there, we don't stop becoming friends. It's kind of like when we play Name That Tune. Everybody wants to add funny little quirks and stuff to it. Everyone's looking at Sienna. You should be able to. Certain people on this show...
The next day. They don't really win. The next day, Sienna comes in. It's a day later. It's a day later. It's 24 hours later. Sienna comes in and she goes, oh, by the way, guys. I talked to Todd about it. Todd had a suggestion. No, it was my brother. Taylor. Taylor had a suggestion. Taylor thinks. And she proceeds to tell it. And I flip out. It was a great suggestion. Is it? Everyone liked it except Woods. Weird. Well, why? I mean, I get penalized. And Jay had a suggestion about changing it, or someone did. It was Jay. It's their own. It was a listener. You can't change the rules. And I'm sitting here, and I'm thinking to myself, you guys, it's a game. It doesn't matter. We're all competitive. Yeah, but Woods always wins, and so we need to change something. Like I said, fine. I just won't play anymore. I'll run the game and you guys can play. Yeah, because we said to Woods the other day, we go, we're talking about the game. We're talking about the game. And Jay says, hey, I got a way. Maybe we could change it up. He says, how about if the last question's worth extra points and the person can then catch up? His was, if you get the last question, you win. And I go, well, let's see. So I've already got five points. Mikey has negative one. Lauren has one and Sienna has one.
If somebody gets the last question right, they win. The last question. That's awesome. That's the point of the whole game. Well, Jay's deal is the last question could be worth these extra points. I said it's all fair if you get it right. Oh, yeah. Be a three-pointer. It's real fair for the guy that is already winning. What are you winning? Don't be scared. You know what I'm winning? I'm winning bragging rights. Don't be scared. I'm not scared. I win every time. Well, then no worries, right? Then you shouldn't care. I made the mistake. I'm not going to play anymore. I made the mistake of saying. I made the mistake of saying. You know, hey, listen, I mean, if it makes great radio. Oh, does it make great radio? It does. I don't care if it makes great radio. I don't care. I want to win. I want to win. It's great. You play to win the game. I got in a fight with Todd over badminton. We were playing badminton, and we were both being so competitive, I hit him with the rack. Oh, my gosh. Like, lightly. That's fantastic. This is from M1 Michigan. He says, I once got into a fight with a girl about who had the best Great Lake. What? Oh, my gosh. Which state? She said Michigan. I said Superior. Oh, my gosh. Wow. The Great Lakes. Oh, my goodness. They got into a fight about it. Wow. Who fights over that? Who fights over that? What about Lake Erie? We've gotten in fights over, like, Tex-Mex versus real Mexican food. Oh, yeah. I mean, people are like, when they have something that they believe in, and, like, especially being from Texas, like.
You throw down. If somebody's talking bad about Texas, you're like, I don't really care anymore. But people get psycho about their cities. They get crazed. I don't care. I got into a fight about dog poo. How? Kind of ended the relationship. Well, it wasn't really a relationship. He wanted to leave it around the house. He didn't pick it up. It was like a one night stand. He didn't pick it up. We were dating for like a couple weeks. We didn't pick it up. He was like, what? Was it in the house? No, it was on the sidewalk. And it was his dog? Yeah. He was like, oh, I've been doing that for years. And my heart stopped. Don't worry about it. Yeah, exactly. That's about as far as that went. M1 Alley said, once got into a fight over a dish sponge. Oh, man. He says, I did not squeeze the water out of it. Oh. And he flipped out. And he lost his mind. Wow. That's the greatest thing I've ever heard. Over a dish sponge. I can't. I'm a control freak. If I watch other people do things that I'd rather do, I'm like, write that down. Speaking of that, speaking of that, how crazy does it make you, Lauren, if somebody is looking for something on the computer, like trying to find something on the Internet or whatever, or they're trying to do something with a computer, and you know how to do it, and you're like, just give me the mouse. Give it to me. Give me the mouse. Yes. Oh, we all have issues.

Mikey, just saw your billboard on the 94 West. Nice. It's M1 Garrett. Very cool. Let's see. M1 Mad Scissors texted in and said, Mikey, we had a fight because he ate my purple jelly beans. Oh, boy. Who likes the purple? I bet Sienna would flip out if she had something in the fridge and Todd ate it.
And that she really wanted? Because you're like that about food and stuff. Oh, well, right now I'm like that about food. Don't mess with a pregnant woman. Dude, what's worse than you have a piece of cheesecake in the refrigerator? You're fiending. You can't wait to get home and have it? He actually wouldn't. I don't think he would even do that, especially like a cheesecake or a cake. He doesn't touch anything. I made banana bread the other day. The guy, he hasn't had a piece. He doesn't. Who doesn't eat banana bread? I mean, is it good? It's delicious. My sister came over and ate it. Maybe he doesn't like her baking. Hey, hey, hey. Take it easy. Woodsy, Doogie, the dude that we're going to see the UFC with this weekend, he's got daughters. And he was telling us how... He was coming home and he had this bag of chili cheese Fritos. They're so good. And he said he was thinking about the bag the whole way home. All he could wait to do is walk in that door and grab those. And as he comes in, his daughter's throwing the empty bag. No way. Just killed him. I think when you have kids in the house that are after they reach a certain age, you're like, I can't count on anything. Yeah. You got to hide it. You got to hide it. You know what M1 Hawk used to do? My old man. What?
We used to find these apple strudels, Little Debbie's, under his bed. And bags of Butterfingers and stuff that he'd hide from us. Yeah, because he knew you would get them. And there is no rule. You can make the rule. Kids, if they find them. They're going to eat them. They're toast. My mom had stashes in like every corner of the house. We call it her stash. Where she would hide food that she didn't want you to get to? The sweets and stuff, yeah. And you'd probably look for it, right? Yeah. Detective Gadget or Inspector Gadget over here. Just write a little note on it and say, do not even think about touching this. It makes me want it more. It doesn't work in my house. I'll write my name on it. I'll buy it the day before and I'm like, here we go. Get home and all the kids are... Put it in a safe when I have kids. A refrigerator safe. For sure. I'm in a mini fridge in my bedroom. So I want to talk about this because we... Mentioned this story the other day. In fact, I had to get, yesterday I had to get Motrin for our eight-month-olds, almost nine months, and went to CVS and they had taken all the Tylenol and Motrin off the counters and we got the generic one. Right. But Sienna says that...
There's more news on that story. The FDA is telling us why they had to take it off shelves for infants. Apparently there was about 46 different complaints that they received, Johnson & Johnson, about black or dark specks in the Tylenol products. And so the FDA people, they went to the lab facilities and they saw that they didn't have any of the proper test drug ingredients and failed to follow up on customer complaints. They never responded to any of the complaints about the black specks. The equipment was covered with thick layers of dust, and others were held together with duct tape. Yeah, so they found bacteria in a lot of the products. Come on. Just run your ship right, dude. Thank you. That's the deal. Just run your ship right. Oh, and it's only baby medicine. Oh, I know. It's not like it's a big deal or anything. Just run the ship right. Don't you guys picture like... Those kinds of facilities, like, yeah, sparkling with everyone wearing lab coats. You know the scene in Willy Wonka where they're all wearing white? That's what I was thinking. That's what I would think it would be. So if you're wondering what kind of medicines exactly, it's the children and infant liquid medicine of Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec, and Benadryl. So they say to buy the generic brands for now until everything's figured out. There's no doubt in my mind.
That because you said that stuff was held together by duct tape and there was dust on stuff, Rebecca will continue to buy the generic for the rest of those kids having it. No doubt in my mind. I know. Isn't that scary? The duct tape part really bothers me. The dust part bothers me. But it makes me upset just thinking that people were complaining, saying there's black specks in this liquid medicine. What is this? And they never responded. Like, how does that happen? Especially that many complaints. Bacteria? What kind? I wonder. I don't know. And I wonder if it had, you know, if it was harm in the kid. They say that they think that the risk to consumers at this point is remote. But I don't know. Those are little babies. Infants. I know it. Speaking of UFC, in a little bit we're going to be talking to our boy Joey Beltran who's going to be fighting at UFC 113 this weekend. It's in Montreal. Yeah. It's in Canada. And it's going to be good, man. It's the Machida rematch. It's my first. Yeah, this is the first time Woodsy's going to see UFC. I've seen like the highlights and stuff. It kind of trips me out. So I'm going to see how I do. Incredible, incredible sport. Mikey asked me, he wants me to come watch. And I said, yeah, we're going to come watch. And I said, I think I'm going to drive my own car in case I vomit my hand while I'm watching it. He says he's a little squeamish. A little bit. A little bit. A little bit.
Let's see. 5701949. You guys want to do the $5 quiz? You know that. Let's do a $5 quiz. Let me get my wallet. Jay, everybody take out five bucks. Let's make it interesting. I got five and quarters. Way to go. Nickels work? Whatever you got. All right. Sienna's got her five. Yep. I got my five. Lauren, you got five? Yep. There you go. Woodsy's got five. I got five. Hey, Mikey. Joey just called in. You want to talk to him real quick? Yeah, let's talk to him. He's in Canada, right? Yep. Joey, you there? What's up, guys? How you doing? Joey's fighting this weekend, UFC 113. And you're in Canada now, or are you not? No, I am in Montreal. Montreal. And let's see. So today is Wednesday. You're fighting in three days. Talk to me about nerves. Are you nervous right now? No, no, man. Now you've just got to have those little things that UFC has to have you do, like interviews or the cool video intros that you guys see on TV. So they keep you somewhat, not busy, but there's activities that you look forward to throughout the day that you have to do. When is weigh-in? Weigh-ins are not until Friday evening. Okay, and how much do you have to be at?
Oh, I have to be under 265, but right now I'm right around my fighting weight, 240. Oh, really? So you're going to put on weight? No, no, no, no. I'm a smaller heavyweight, so I'm right around 240. So you fight at 240? Yeah, the guy I'm fighting, he'll weigh, he'll probably, by the time fight comes around, he'll probably weigh like 275 because he cuts to make the 265 on it. Did you ever used to cut weight or have you never done that? My first few fights, I was right around 265, 266, so sometimes I used to have to miss a meal that day, but I never had to do the whole cutting thing. Joey, who's your opponent? My opponent actually got switched from the last time I talked to you guys. I'm now fighting Tim Haig, who's actually, this will be his fourth UFC fight, and so he's more of a veteran. He's been around a long time. Did it get tougher for you?
You know, I think that Chad Corbin would have been the more dangerous in the, like, you know, like that Mike Tyson aspect. Like, he would have came out the first two minutes trying to kill me. And what's your style, Joey? What's your style of fighting? Oh, I'm definitely going to go and get in his face right from the giddy up and just out boxing, you know, and keep it on the feet. So I'm definitely like a smaller and brawler type, you know. I like to keep it on the feet. Joey Beltran is a UFC fighter and an M1, a fan of the Mikey Show. From San Diego. Yeah, he's from San Diego. He's up in Montreal right now. He's fighting on Saturday. Are you a nerves guy? Will you get real jacked up before you step in the octagon? Well, you know, I mean, I used to. I used to, like, whip myself into, like, an emotional frenzy to go out and try to kill the person. You know, but I just found, like, after, it was just such an emotional... Calm down. It was just, like, really, really hard on me. My mental, my mental psyche after, you know. Like, now, like, I actually went to a sports psychologist after I lost. My last fight was just three fights ago. So, I really just felt like life was, life wasn't worth living if I lost. And I knew that that wasn't a way to go around. Wow. Wow. Basically, my fiance, like, told me I had to go, you know, to figure something out. Hey, dude, so. After doing that, like, it really, it really helped me put it into perspective.
You know, it's just my job. Everybody, my family, my friends will still love me even if I lose. It's really taken off the pressure and just really made it all about just performing. You know, it's not it's not like I'm going to die if I lose situation. Well, obviously, with you being, you know, somebody that we've met and that is a fan of the show and that has been in the studio, you know, we are definitely supporting you this weekend and I can't wait to see you fight. And this is a big event anyway. Tell everybody about the headliner and what the headliner is for this. We anticipated rematch between Mauricio Shogun Hua taking on the champion, the 205-pound champion, Lyoto the Dragon Machida. And these guys fought already once in the L.A. Staples Center, and they went all five rounds. And it was a very close fight. A lot of people thought that Shogun won. But the auto ended up getting the decision. So for that reason in itself, it's very anticipated. A lot of people expect both these guys to come out with a lot more intensity, you know, to really stamp, not let it go into the judge's hands this time. You know, they're going to go for the kill. So it should be exciting.
Joey, we're looking forward to it. We support you. We love you. And good luck, dude. We really hope you win this fight. Good luck. Yeah, man. And when you get back in town, give me a call. I'll spar with you. Yeah, right. Holy cow. And by spar, I mean go out to lunch. Yeah. By spar, we mean... Mani-pedis. Yeah. Get some mani-pedis. All right, Joey. Awesome. Thank you, guys. Good luck, dude. Talk to you later, man. Have a good one. Bye-bye. You too. It's Joey Beltran. He's fighting this weekend at UFC 113. I'm so nervous for him. I know it. I am too. No, it made me jumpy. I know it. Well, let's do the $5 quiz. And Jay has the questions for us. And we're going to write our questions. We're going to write our answers down. Don't cheat, Mikey. Put me up with a highlighter. Make it very big. Are these just like random questions? No, these are going to be. It's a survival quiz. Oh, wow. Great. All right. I'm ready. All right. Let's play along at home if you're listening. Yeah, if you play along as you're in your car, at home, or whatever, even in the office. How many questions, Jay? I have seven, eight questions for you. Okay. All right. Let's fly through them. We'll write them down. Here we go. We'll go to break, come back, and tell you what the correct answers are. Question number one. By the rules of three, without shelter and or fire, you could die in as little as A, three minutes, B, three hours, C, three days, D, three weeks.
Can you repeat the question? No. By the rules of three, without shelter and or fire, you could die in as little as... A, three minutes. B, three hours. C, three days. D, three weeks. Number two. Question number two. By the rules of three, without food, you could die in as little as three minutes, three hours, three days, or three weeks. Those are A, B, C, and D. Okay. By the rules of three, without addressing medical emergencies. This is question number three. Three, sorry. By the rules of three, without addressing medical emergencies, you could die in as little as three minutes, three hours, C, three days, D, three weeks. I do not understand that question. By ignoring medical. Right. If you ignore medical emergencies. Yeah, but what kind of an emergency? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Just write an answer down. Oh, yeah, because if it's an emergency, it's an emergency. It's an emergency. Cut your leg. Cut your arm. Snake bite. Broken leg. That kind of thing. Okay. Okay. Question number four. By the rules of three, without water, you could die in as little as three minutes. A. B. Three hours. C. Three days. D. Three weeks. Okay. Question number five.
A good way to procure water is to A, cut up branches of a plant, squeeze out sap, and drink it. B, make a divining rod from a forked stick, walk around until the stick dips, then dig in that spot. C, kill some game and drink their blood. D, walk downhill. Oh, God. That's the easiest question I've ever heard. Easy, Mikey Grills. All right, you ready? Here we go. Question number six. The best food sources available in the wilderness are A, Mushrooms, moss, and fungal growth. B, small green leafy plants. C, insects and small furry animals. D, grasses and barks of young trees. It's Lauren's breakfast. Yeah, exactly. Isn't that what you're having in your cereal bowl right now? Question number seven. The key to building shelter from the cold is that A, it is so small that you can barely fit into it. B, it is located on the banks of a flowing stream. C. It is constructed from only dead plant matter so you don't have to kill any trees or plants. D. It is in a field so that it can be warmed by the sun. And our last question. The best way to render water safe to drink is to A. Remove your t-shirt, socks, or cotton material and use it as a filter for the water. B. Leave it out in the sunlight so that the sun's UV rays can kill any microorganisms. C. Boil it. D. Add grass.
Green grass and leaves and allow the plants to naturally kill any microbes. All right. There it is. I love to strain water through my socks. It tastes delicious. That's how we have water around here anyway. Yeah, it tastes like feet. It tastes like San Diego water. Half of my answers are the words and half of those. Lauren. Oh, no. Did you hear that? What did she say? Did you hear that? What did she say? Oh, no. It's fine. It's fine. What did you say, Lauren? It said half of my letters are the actual, like, words. Half of her answers. Yeah, half of my answers and then half of them are the letters because I couldn't keep track of the whole phrase. She's one of the most interesting creatures. Yeah, isn't she? They've moved them over to the center divider, but you'll definitely find a delay as you approach there. This report, it's brought to you by your San Diego County Toyota dealers. I'm Stacey Cohen, FM 94.9. KBZT San Diego. The Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of the Mikey Show. FM 94.9. What's KSON's call letters? Are there numbers? 97.3. 97.3. KSO. I used to work at a country station. No way. Yeah. Me too. Hi, this is Mike Esparza. My name is Mikey. It was, I was Michael Shannon there too. Weird. Did you put on a little accent? I did. Oh God, please do it. I'll do it. You put an accent on? You did an accent? I did. What are you, Shania Twain? Please do it. Let's see. Let me give you. What are you, Keith Urban? Let me bring up something country.
In fact, I'll give you something from that time. It drives me nuts when people that aren't from the southern part of the U.S. do twang in country. Yeah, like Keith Urban. You're from Australia. Exactly, and Shania Twain's from Canada. She's like, that don't impress me. It sounded like this. KWDB, it's Michael Shannon, and let me tell you something. This afternoon, we're going to be doing a lot of work with you. If you need to get a free fence, we're going to get repairs for you and everything. KWDB. You are kidding. You said France? France. Yeah. Oh, I did a country accent. I had an accent. Why didn't you do that? Because it sounded great in my eardrums. Oh, my God. And they loved it. This was in San Luis Obispo. My very first radio appearance was at a boot barn because I worked for a country station. Did you talk with a fake accent? No. Thank you, Sienna. It was here in San Diego. Hey, it's Sienna. What? Coming out to the boot barn. I did. K-double-D-B. Michael Shannon in the midday.
Let me tell you something. This afternoon, $100 to you. Oh, gosh. All you have to do is be the 12th caller when I tell you to call in and win. Little Joe Diffie and John Deere Green on KWDB. Wow! Is that what you sounded like? No, I didn't do the deep thing. Wow. But I did do the accent. Sorry about that. See, and it could have worked there. Double D? Oh! KWDB. You guys think I have an accent? No, Jamie does. Oh, you don't have to. I just did. Do you think I have one? No. Oh, yeah. A little bit. Really? Oh, you asked. Yeah, Jamie definitely does you. Oh, man. 100%. But you definitely do. Hi, y'all. Yeah. I don't think you do. Really? You don't hear his accent, his southern accent? She says it comes out sometimes. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I hear it. Because I lived in Chicago five years. I've lived everywhere, but. I lived everywhere, man. Mine comes out when I'm angry and when I'm drunk. Jay has one. Your jersey? Yeah. Yeah, Jay's got a southern accent. Horrible. Yeah, and you hear it with Lauren when she says certain words. Horrible. Horrible. Let's see. It's a Mikey show, by the way. There are five of us. It's myself, Woodsy, Lauren, Sienna, and Jay. And we've got to give you the answers to the $5 quiz here in a second. By the way, M1s are Mikey show listeners.
If you're an M1, when you call in, you turn your radio down, get to the point, and don't cuss. Make sure you hang out with Tommy today. Tommy is going to be doing something because it is, in fact, Cinco de Mayo. Get some margs. That's right. Go get some margs down at Jose's in La Jolla. That's where Tommy's going to be today, doing a Cinco de Mayo party. It's going to be great. 3 to 8. Mikey, what's he saying? Yeah. I can't even tell you. I don't even know. All that sounds the same. It does. Those tunes, it's so weird. I like them. Accordion's a big player. How'd you do that? Seemed like an appropriate time. That's my uncle who used to do that. He was the ha-ha-ha guy. Oh, was he? Yeah, at a party. At the barbecue? You'd walk into the party, and my uncle would go, like, that, because people do it in the room while the song's playing. Yeah, yeah. People in the room would go, What do you call, what do the Mexicans call barbecues when they have a barbecue? They call it.
A barbecue. Oh, really? Wow. Bebecua. Riveting. Is it called a barbecua? Barbecua? It's called a barbecuo. No. Barbecuo. No, but like barbecue in Spanish is like barbecua or something like that. They didn't call it a barbecua. Maybe that's just what a barbecue is called, like an actual grill. Oh, boy. I swear I'm not making it up. Mike, I'm telling you. Gardeners are our house when they're not spitting out habanero seeds all over the yard. All they can talk about is feasting at their barbecuas. I'm pretty decent in Spanish. When I was in Mexico over the weekend, I was actually complimented on my skills. Ma! Buy me a barbecua. I already have a chiminea. Now I need a barbecua. Hey, barbecua. All right, you want the answers? Let's get the answers to the $5 quiz. I failed. Should we all pass it to the left? Check or X? We can hold up our answer. Give us question number one. By the rules of three, without shelter and or fire, you could die in as little as. The answer is B. Three hours. Exposure can kill very quickly, especially in cold and wet climates. I put C. I put D. Lauren. Somebody's keeping score here? Are we? Are we?
Number two. Just put check marks and X's. Yes, there you go. By the rules of three, without food, you could die in as little as? The answer is D, three weeks. Food is your last priority. Really? Is it? I thought number two was water. No. Water is your first priority, right? Yeah. Anybody get it right? I said three days. Nope, three weeks. That's A. No, I don't know what it is. Here we go. All right, here we go. Question number three. By the rules of three, without addressing medical emergencies, you could die in as little as? The answer is A. Three minutes. Heavy bleeding and other injuries can kill you very quickly. So far, I've missed all these. You know, the number one concern. I'm one for two. One for three. You can die in as little as three? Snake bites. You bleed out. Snake bites. I mean, if you cut your leg. If you slice your throat. Oh, you could die in three minutes. That makes sense. What if you sprained your finger? That's not an emergency. Not an emergency. Dang it. That's an ouch. I overthink everything. What if you drop a gold bar on your foot? Okay? What if you cut yourself on a diamond? I've done it before. You could survive longer. Okay. If you got a massive paper cut from a $1,000 bill. Number four. Number four. By the rules of three, without water, you could die in as little as C. Yes.
Lack of water can kill in a few days, especially in hot and desert environments. Nice. All right. I got one. Question five. A good way to procure water is to? The answer is D. You walk downhill. Water flows downhill and catches in valleys and low areas. Go find it. I'd put the divinity rod. Yeah, you would. Divinity? I didn't do it, right? Divining? It sounded very technical. I know how to make a divining rod. Yeah, I bet you do. Hey, Jay, run down what all the answers were, then give the correct one so we can kind of see. Oh, all right. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Question number six. The best food source available in the wilderness are A, mushrooms, moss, and fungal growth. B, small, greasy leaf plants. Say it. Oh, C, insects and small, furry animals. D, grasses and barks of young trees. The answer is C, insects and small, furry animals. Got it. Yeah, there are many poisonous plants out there, but most are all bearing, most food comes from mammals and furry little creatures. I think we all got that one right. Yeah, we did. Look at you guys. Number seven. Number seven. The key to building shelter from the cold is that, A, it is so small that you can barely fit into it. B, it is located on the banks of a flowing stream. C, it is constructed from only dead plants.
D, it is in the field so this can be warmed by the sun. The correct answer is A. Yes. Yes. The smaller your shelter, the better. Your body heat will help to keep you warm in it. I've gotten two right. I've gotten four. I'm going to get this last one wrong except I knew the right answer. I've got four. I've got four. Here we go. Question number eight. The best way to render water safe to drink is A, remove your T-shirt or socks and other cotton material and use it as a filter. Leave it out in the sunlight so the sun's UV rays can kill any microorganisms. C, boil it. D, add green grass and leaves. C. C, boil it. Booyah! I knew that was right, but I thought it was a trick question because what if I don't have any pots and pans? Dude, I'm like Mikey Grylls. I'm like Bear Grylls. Five out of eight. Oh my gosh. How many did you get, Sienna? Three out of eight. What's in Lauren? Five. Three out of eight. So what did we do? Split the winnings? Yeah, you guys split it. We got a lot of the same ones, right? Yeah, we did. You guys can just buy us lunch today. How about that? Exactly. Five of eight. Man, money. Live. Love games. 570. Now we're going to split it. 194.9 is our phone number if you want to call us. You can text us 949mikey at gmail.com if you would like to do it that way. Today has flown by. Yeah, it has. Flown by.
Sienna is in baby land. Surrounded by everything baby, basically. Sienna wrote in her recap today that you felt the baby kick for the first time? No, I've been feeling little movements, but I was lying in bed last night and I could see my stomach move. So my stomach was moving from the kicks and I was like, oh my God. How great is that? I was like screaming for Todd. Yeah. That's amazing. I know. It's pretty cool. I was like, whoa. And you still have, you don't have a name yet? We have two that we really like. I'm not going to share them right now. It's a girl, right? It's a girl. Because everyone's been asking, so what are the names? What are the names? Do you have one you really like? So I've been sharing, you know, I went to Mexico, saw all my friends over the weekend, told them. And everyone has an opinion. And it's like, okay, you have two, you should have two responses to when I tell you the name. You love it or you pretend that you love it. Thank you. You know what I mean? And everyone was like, Oh, I don't know. That's ridiculous. Yeah, and I'm like, okay, this is the name that we are considering to give to our child for the rest of their life. Like, obviously, it's something that we like and we've thought about. My sister got, like, shamed out of her first choice for her daughter. What? Because of people's... Rhea, R-H-E-A, and people said... Rhea Perlman from Cheers. No, I thought of number three. Exactly. Oh, yeah, Lauren, I agree. That and the STD gonorrhea. Oh.
Oh, I didn't think of it. Hey, look, here comes gonorrhea. I never would have thought of that, but it was like a guy that was like, first thing I thought of was. Well, see. They would have gotten fun of. What if he helped? You got to think, especially if it's a boy. You can't name him like, I don't know, something like Bryce. I mean, he's going to get his butt kicked. You know. 80,000 Bryce's just looked at their radio. Thanks a lot. I'm sorry, but I'm sure they'll call in and say, yeah. What is wrong with Bryce? My cousin's name is Bryce. I got the crap kicked out of me. It's hard enough with just the two of you making a decision when you start including family and friends. Yeah, Bryce doesn't really work. Bryce is my cousin's name, and I like it. I'm great. Right now we have, like, kind of a name that... that is not that unique. Well, it's unique, but it's not unheard of. And it's kind of a combination between family names. So it's cool. It has like a double meaning. Just surprise everyone. It's Vienna after Waverly and Siena. No, it's not. M1 Bryce is online. I couldn't think of anything. The kid doesn't think very well on his feet. I thought of, when you said a name, I thought of Huevo. Yeah, you named your kid Huevo. I wanted to name our son Nuts.
You know, we really wanted to do it. We were like, oh, you know. What's her name? What's her name? You know there's something out there that you made fun of a kid for. Well, I thought about Aston, which is my middle name, but I was like, they're going to be made fun of because it says ass. I think that any name that is a boy and girl's name potentially you could get some flack for, right? Courtney. There was a dude named Courtney. Stacy. Stacy. Stacy. If a guy's name is Stacy. There's guys that are named Shannon. Right? Well, I was very fortunate. My name doesn't really rhyme with anything. So it was like, you couldn't really. Lauren's been whoring. I thought Lauren's boring. Lauren's been whoring. But in New Jersey, they say Lauren. Lauren. Lauren's been whoring. Yeah. Did you get stuff when you were growing up? I didn't get a single thing. I got Michael Michael motorcycle a lot. Hey, Mikey. That's not bad. Probably got that a lot. That's not bad. No, I'm just saying. I got it. How'd that life commercial work out for you? Yeah, exactly. Yeah, that bit. Mikey. Mikey will eat it. Hey, Mikey. He likes it. Hey, Mikey. He likes it. I've never heard that once in my... I do still all the time. I was having great. Mikey likes it. Did you drink soda and eat Pop Rocks? Every time Mikey takes a bite of food.
He likes it. Mikey likes it. He's eating. You're eating in the bathroom with its stall clothes. He's like, I can't do this anymore. 366 days out of 365 days a year. Some guy peeks over the stall. He's like, hey, Mikey likes it. Mikey likes it. Hey, wife's cereal guy. Going number two. Hey, wife's cereal guy. Number two down there. What are you doing? How are you? He likes it. Big zip of pens. He likes it. I didn't get anything on my name either. I don't think. Oh, Steve the Beeb. Stevie, Stevie, Mrs. Skeevy. You didn't get that? Steve or the beaver. M1, Jessie? Yes. What did you get or what were you calling to tell us about? Well, I was going to, you know, I've always liked the strong personality traits like chastity or grace or joy or hope. But I was going to name my daughter Honor because to me that's a really great personality trait, you know? Sure. Get on her, stay on her. I thought it was, I thought it was, yeah. Wow. Never thought of it. Nice, Jay. My brother shamed me out of it. He was like, yeah, when she gets to grade school and it's on her knees and on her back. Wow. Yes. Wow. Never would have thought of it. That's right.
It takes a pervert over here. Even I didn't think of it. Yeah, it takes the guy to say that thing. You're like, hmm, I guess that is the way a six-year-old's mind will work. Holy cow. Maybe I should. On her back. Can you imagine? She ended up being Rainy Boundless, which works too. She ended up being Rainy what? Boundless. Rainy Boundless. Wow. Is that your last name? What town is the commune that you guys live in? Yeah, no kidding. No. Her actual name is Lorena after my grandmother. That's cute. Lorena is a really pretty name. Lorena Bobbitt. Yeah, no one thinks Lorena Bobbitt. Thank you, M1 Jesse. You're very brave. You're very brave. You're very brave. We've all been through the bit. How many of us have been through the bit where somebody introduces you to their kid and they say the name and you're like, oh. And in your head you're like, whoa. Mouthful. It's a crazy name. People will name their kids crazy things. That's why when we were naming our boys, we wanted to stick with just basic Luke, Jake, Ryan. I like all of those names. We just wanted the normal deal. I love Luke. I love Jake. I've always liked Jake after Jake Ryan in 16 Candles who was a really sharp dude. I had kind of a man crush on him. Who didn't? Who didn't, right? Who didn't want to be Jake Ryan driving around in a Porsche? Good looking dude. Oh, yeah.
M1 Texas Red. You there? Howdy. How you doing, Mike? Good. Howdy. Howdy. You got a baby name suggestion for Sienna? Oh, no. I do. I do, Sienna. I know you've probably got, I heard you say you already had one picked out, but. No, we don't have one picked out. Oh, very good. Well, you know what? This one is, it's beautiful. It's masculine and feminine at the same time. But I was thinking maybe you make it right and name the little darling M1 Texas Red right here. Gorgeous. I should. It's masculine and feminine. How about hermaphrodite? How about he, she? Hermaphrodite! How about shim? Woods calls me red, so you know. Hey, shim! Get over here! Baby shim! It's not going to be shim. It won't be shim. No. See, I was raised Catholic, so when you went through your confirmation, you could pick your confirmation name. Really? Yeah, so you're supposed to pick a saint. Like Mary or like something like that. You picked Joseph, obviously, to be independent. I picked charity. Charity. I picked charity. And my parents to this day are like, oh, Lauren Chastity O'Brien.
I think it's like so funny that I didn't go, they were so mad at me. That you didn't go chastity. Mary Marie, like something like that. You went charity? Charity. Is that a saint? They're saint charity? I don't think so. So you just picked that name. Of course you just made it up. Just to be difficult. You picked that name? I was like, I would always be reminded to give a little. Oh my goodness. Portia. I picked Portia. I would have been like, Mary. The easiest one. John, thank you. Mom, I'm going to go by Mercedes. I think 80% of the people that I was confirmed with picked Mary. Yeah. And I was Charity. Charity. M1, Michael, are you there? Yes. Go ahead. Hey, I used to date a girl named Alan. Oh, my gosh. That's cool. And she was definitely a she. And then she had a brother named Michael and another brother named Barry. I've met the girl Michaels before. Wait, wait. Yeah, I'm sorry. Her sister was Mary. Her sister was Michael and her other sister was Barry. What? Do you think the parents wanted boys or what? Wait, were the parents like the Bee Gees? Yeah. Wait a minute. The sister was Barry? Barry. Dude, I've never. Was it B-E-R-B-A-R-O-Y? I think it was R-I-E. Wow. Yeah, you're right, you know. They wanted boys. Yeah. I've never heard that before. Michael. Girls say Michael or Foxy, I think. Yeah.
It's a guy named Helen. What about... There's that hot actress named... Really? Yeah, she's smoke. Like King James. We're James King. Oh, James. Make this right. Maybe let me make this right. Her friends call her Jim, for short. Jimmy! Hey, Jimmy. Make it right. M1 Booze, you there? Yeah, I'm here. What's up? What's going on? Not too much. So, my sister-in-law is about to give birth to my first nephew. And their last name is Trim. T-R-I-M-M. Yeah. Keep it trimmed. Woods, you're seven, dude. You're seven. I'm not laughing at what he said. I'm laughing at Woods' reaction. Which is instantly childlike. Instantly childlike. That's not even the bad part. I mean, that's the bad part. But there's a worse part. She wants to name the son Harrison. No. But he's going to be named Harry Trim. Oh, God. Oh, that's bad. You can't do that. She can't do it. You can't do that. I'm begging them not to. I thought you were going to say Jim. Jim Trim. Jim Trim. Jim Trim. Don't do that. Walking out into the waiting room at the doctor's office. Jim Trim. Is there a Jim Trim here? Jim Trim. Something on a Chinese food restaurant. On the menu. Did I? I can say it. Did I tell you about when I used to cold call? I was cold calling doctors. What? I was cold calling doctors. What's that? Collect call? Cold calling.
It means that you just call them right out of the phone book or out of the directory. Yeah, we were selling stuff. Oh, I've never heard that. You've never heard of cold call? No. Oh, my God. So I'm cold calling doctors, and I come across this doctor in San Francisco. I swear my mother, his name was Dr. Thin Dong. Oh, my gosh. Dr. Thin Dong. So you had to, like, first of all, you had to calm down. Oh, we totally pranked him. Totally pranked him. Oh, my gosh. Dr. Thindong. Oh, God. We had some. Dude, we used to have a list. I'll get the list of some of the names that we ran across. You will die. See more butts. Yes. I mean, seriously, crazy, crazy stuff. A friend of mine got a vasectomy, and his doctor's name was Dick Trapper. For real? Dick Trapper. Really his name? Real. Why not, when you get into that sort of profession, go by Richard? I agree. Richard Trapper. How about Dr. Trapper? Yeah. You earned it, pal. M1 Liz. Hi. Hi. So I have a baby name for you. It was what my son was almost named. Ooh, let's hear it. Cadillac. Oh, my. A boy or a girl name, and Cadillacs are gorgeous.
Okay, this is the only problem is my last name is Farrar, so it's a little too much car. Yeah, it's a lot of car. Farrar? Oh, that's hot, though. Cadillac Farrar. Cadillac Farrar. Especially because the middle name is for sure going to be Aston, which is my middle name, so that's too much car. Why did you want it? Liz, tell me again. You're naming it Aston after your middle name? No, the middle name will be Aston. Because it's your middle name. Yeah. Middle names in my family, it's family names. Not to me. Don't shame her, Woods. I'm not shaming. I'm just asking. You don't have a family middle name? A little bit of shame. Don't you guys have family middle names? No. Yeah, like we gave our kids, we gave our boys grandparents names. Is it weird that it's yours middle name and not like your mom's? No. Is it not? I like it. My sister. I'm not shaming her. What's your middle name? Mine's Lee. You wouldn't give your son the middle name Lee? But I'm a dude. That's what dudes do. I've never heard of women doing it. I like it. In fact, that's the only way I would see it acceptable. She can't have a junior. She can't have a Sienna. That'd be weird. That would be weird. One of my sisters has my grandma's middle name and the other sister has my mom's middle name. And Aston was my grandfather's last name. Hey, Liz. Tell me again why you were almost going to name your daughter Cadillac.
No, it was my son. He was going to be a pimp. Yeah, it's going to be a pimp. Well, that's why I said no to it, is because I didn't want people to think he was a pimp. But my husband always liked Cadillac. Your husband wanted him to be a pimp. You know what I mean? Thank you for the suggestion, though. M1 Stew, what was your doctor's name? The OBGYN, by the way. Oh, no. What was his doctor's name? Check this out. Okay, so there was this OBGYN where I grew up in Ventura. His name was Dr. Hooker. Oh my gosh. Dr. Hooker? Yeah, OBGYN, Dr. Hooker. Fantastic. That's pretty honey on ears, right? That's a good one. Worst song title for the best song ever. The song's called Big Log. That's an interesting song title. Isn't that awful? And it's such a great song. It's a great song. If you have asthma, there may be good news for you. We're going to tell you next. Call 570-1949. Or text 949mikey at gmail.com. Sienna can tell us why there's maybe some good news for people if you have asthma. Yeah, they have this new treatment. And apparently when you have asthma, if you're going into a bad, you're having a breathing situation, you can't breathe. If you go to the emergency room, there's nothing they can really do to stop it immediately and help you. And I didn't know that, but I guess they have a new device. It's called a bronchial thermoplasty. And basically, people with severe asthma are getting this treatment option now. It starts this month, which is a way to sneak wire inside their lungs and melt off some of the tissue that squeezes their airwaves shut. Yeah, this is pretty crazy. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, in more detail, it's a half-hour outpatient procedure where doctors thread a flexible tube called a bronchioscope through the nose or throat and down into the airways. And an electrode at the tip of the beams. gets the radio frequency waves through the airway wall to reach the muscle underneath without causing a burn. It sounds terrifying. It sounds so invasive. I know it. We can do that, but we still have to plug computers into the wall. I know. I know it. Which just makes me cuckoo.
There's a couple drawbacks to it, though, so people aren't, you know, jumping. Well, yeah, you know what the drawback is? They stick a wire down into your lungs and melt off. Or in your, like, through your nose, too. How uncomfortable. Well, the thermoplasty can irritate your airwaves, meeting risks after treatment that include temporarily worse asthma and a partially collapsed lung and coughing up blood can happen. Oh, really? But it also, I mean, they're saying, for the most part, they've done a lot of tests. And everyone seems to really like it. And you don't come back with as bad of asthma. That's what creeps me out about drug commercials on television. And they're whatever it is. Cypics may include. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Here's what might happen with LaVectra. You may experience rectal bleeding. Terrible flatulence. Yes. You can't even say the rest. I've seen some nasty ones. You're like, oh, that's it? That sounds phenomenal. But I can't even imagine if you're going through an asthma attack and there's nothing you can do and they can't help you. I would just be like, do whatever you can. I need to breathe, you know? I used to think asthma was a fake bit when I was a little kid. When I was young, I was like, really? You can't play baseball because you have asthma? It kills like 4,000 people a year. Now I know. I was an idiot. I outgrew it.
I had it and I outgrew it. Right before you're exercising. When you got to puberty, I would go... I had what I thought was a fake bit. The doctors told me it was called exercise-induced asthma. And I was like, doesn't everyone have that? Isn't that what starts it? Doesn't that mean you exercise and get short of breath? But yeah, no, it would be like when I did exercise, it would go to... Yeah, you would wheeze. I used to use primatine mist. Oh, yeah. Primatine mist. And I could instantly breathe. It was a trip. I used to take hits off my boy's inhaler. Oh, my gosh. My dad's entire childhood, he had to sleep sitting up. He had asthma so bad. And they would rush him to the hospital all the time. And when he got to puberty, he outgrew it. I mean, he still has little tiny attacks here and there, so he still has an inhaler. But, I mean, imagine sleeping up your child every night. Awful. Woods, when you would do the primatine mist, I used to think that stuff tasted gross. I got used to it. I got used to it. But we'd all be out playing tackle football and one of my best friends in the world, Kevin, has asthma. And I'd be like, give me a hit, dude. Give me a hit. I tried it one time. I feel great.
I think it was a placebo. I kind of liked it. I kind of got used to the taste and be like, give me a hit. It wasn't a placebo, man. That stuff worked. But I mean to the woods, probably. Yeah, yeah. I was talking with Liz and Winder, and Liz was talking about their baby and how she can watch him and all of a sudden his lips go purple, and she knows it's time to get him. She knows when it's time to get him to the emergency room, and they've been to the emergency room a ton of times. He has asthma? Yeah. Oh, I didn't know that. Question, by the way. Angel. Question. What's he? Yeah. You weren't skeeved out by using someone else's inhaler. No. Not when you were that age. We were in seventh grade, eighth grade. Like you don't think. And this is 20 years ago before people flipped out about, you know, where they want to live in a pod because of germs. I've always been that guy. In fact, I was thinking about the other day. There are certain things that we can all relate to in terms of skeeve outs. Oh, yeah, for sure. I'm going to say this and even saying it right now will skeeve me out. If you're eating some type of seafood and you bite into little grains of sand and on your back molars, there's little sand granules.
That makes me want to put a fire hose in my mouth. You're like, did I chip it? Is that my tooth or is that hand? What is that? It's so gross, that feeling. Or when there's a little piece of shell in your eggs. Oh, dude. That's L-Shakes. I can't. L-Shakes? L-Shakes. L-Shakes. Wow. I love when that happens. I can't crack an egg without getting the tweezers and being like, damn it. I can't. Really? Because I love fried egg sandwiches. And so I'll make them all the time. Me too. And I'm like, I got to try to get it out through the slime and it won't. And I inevitably every time. I think I know your problem. How do you do it? I do the bit where I crack it and then I pull it. No, no, no. I mean, how do you take this shell out? With my finger? Me too. Yeah. I think I know your problem though. You're probably being too delicate when you hit the egg. You actually need to smack it really hard. Like overly hard. Sienna. What? You just guaranteed. That Woods is going to have egg. My wife's like, shut up, Sienna, shut up. No, just try hitting it a little bit harder. That's great. Stop. You're a child. I know. I said it too. You know what gets me? Probably the worst. What? Foil in my mouth. If I got a piece of juicy fruit and for some reason some foil ends up in my mouth. Oh, gosh. My. That's horrible. I'll wreck my car.
There are some things that people talk about that are the skeeve-outs that don't get me as bad. The foil doesn't get me as bad as the sand, but... And you know what else doesn't get me as bad as a lot of people talk about? Nails down a chalkboard doesn't really... It doesn't really... I mean, yeah. It's not my favorite thing. My hair stands up. What about some fork scrape on the plate? Jasper does that all the time. How about the guy that eats his fork when he eats his meal? If Jamie does it or if I do it, we'll do the bit where we're like, how's that fork? Because inevitably somebody does it on accident. Have you guys had to pop a balloon? Popping a balloon is very skeevy. I hate popping a balloon. How about jumping on it and it doesn't pop the first time? You're like, oh, God, oh, God, here we go. I pick up, like, when I go on runs and stuff, I'll pick up, like, the balloons and stuff like that. When I touch wet plastic, like a wet plastic bag, I'm like, ugh. You know what skeeves me out? You know what skeeves me out? Yeah. Well, when you've had chicken for dinner and you throw away the yellow styrofoam.
pink water. You throw it away. It's in the garbage. And maybe it's only been there overnight. Maybe it's been there at one day. Just one day. And the next day, you go to empty the garbage and you grab onto the plastic of the garbage thing. And you pull it up. And as you do, that waft of air goes... And you go hot in the glam. When you pull it out and it suctions up and it goes... That's like if you put something, even in the trash can outside when you slam the lid shut. Yes. The trash air still comes back at you. I thought you were going to say trash juice. Trash juice is the same. Oh, yeah. Here's my bit. At my old place, it was a mile to the dumpster. And I'd blast cigs and throw them in cups of water. Okay? And I'd put them in there and I'd have like half-drunk Cokes in there. You know, whatever. I'd pick up the thing and I'm walking and I'd feel something wet running down my calf. And it's the trash juice. And I'm like. And I look behind me and there's a trail. And I'm like. And I run in and jump in the shower. It's so bad. We've all. I think we've all had trash juice on our couch. Oh, yeah. On our couch. On my hand. Because it bumps against your leg and you're like, oh, God, why is that? It can't be wet. There's chicken parts. Oh, God. You're like, why is a banana slug?
Crawling up the back of my leg. Why is that? I hate when I see like a razor and someone else's razor and there's like the dried hair. How about hair in a drain? Oh, healthy. Dude. Yeah, having to clean hair. See, I have to do that every time I shower. I have long hair, so I just, every time. Like a guy's face? I thought of one of the king skeeves. What? Garbage disposal. Oh, yeah. Freaky. Having to clear... Having to reach your hand in? Having to clear a garbage disposal. You've never had to put your hand... Never? You've never got a fork stuck on there? Oh. Or a cap of something? A cap. A beer cap. Like open up the...
thingy or just put your hand in there? You've got to get your hand in there and clean out. I'm terrified that it's going to accidentally turn on. I want to call SDG&E and go, I want to give my address and go, can you just shut me off for an hour? Because I've got to clear out that disposal. You're so afraid. For some reason, it's going to go. Let's see. M1 Joanna. Yes. What skeeves you out? Popsicle sticks. The wood? Scraping across your teeth? The wood? Oh, I love it. I eat them. No, the wood on the teeth, the wood on the teeth. The wood on the teeth, especially when it starts to splinter. Oh, I love it. I chew it and spit it out. Oh, my gosh, woods. The obstacle sticks. Oh, when they're done with the popsicles, they chew on them. It drives me crazy. Oh, that is premium. Oh, I don't like that. It hurts my teeth. If you use another thing that grosses me out. If someone lets you, like, use their phone and it's warm. Oh, yes. Yes. Yes. Gross. Gross. Gross. How about sitting on a toilet after somebody's been sitting there? It's warm. I'm eating warm. Like, well, we have to switch seats sometimes and we switch headphones. Yes. And the headphones are warm. I'm like, ew. Here, switch headphones. No, no. Jay had to use my headphones today and I put them back on and they were toasty warm and I was like, I knew that would bug you too. Oh, it got me so scared. M1 Jasmine, are you there?
Jasmine. Yeah. What were you calling to say? I was just calling to say that, you know, I'm driving around on the radio and you guys are talking about all these gross things and I've got like this really gross look on my face and I look at all the cars next to me. They're all grossed out. Yeah, they're like, what's her deal? I'm so sorry. They're all listening and they're all grossed out. Oh, I got it. I have one. What? What? What? The juice that comes out of the first part of the mustard and the ketchup. It's the worst. I've got a cure. I've got a cure. You've got to shake. But if you forget and it comes out. It happened the other day. And I ended up throwing. Like grabbing, I think it was a hot dog. And I grabbed it off there really quickly before the juice got in the bun. I won't eat it. I'll throw it away. What about when you're pouring milk? And sometimes if you have like a gallon of milk and you unscrew it, there's like little flakes. And it goes in your mouth. How about when you're putting mustard on a hot dog and you get the hardened little mustard ball? I clear that out every time. Oh, my God.
How is it that we figured out a way to stick wire into our lungs for asthma? Man on the moon. Nobody over at French's has figured out how to make mustard caps. Waterless mustard. Waterless mustard. We haven't figured that out yet. It says shake on the bottle. I shake the ass out of it. 570-1949. Call us with the stuff that skeeves. You out. You know what skeeves me out? My heart is racing. I'll tell you what. Here's the other thing that skeeves me out. Getting onto an airplane and seeing the remnants of the stuff that the person that was sitting there before you left in the seat. Oh, gross, gross, gross. You see crackers or you see peanuts. You see a peanut. What if you go in to put your magazine in the little pocket and there's a balled up napkin? It touches your hand. Filthy, filthy, filter, filter. Tell me how you love me more. And how you think I'm sexy, babe. But you don't want nobody else. You don't want this guy. You don't want that guy. M1 ShamWow, what skeeves you out? Hey, guys. Just want to say another great show. Thank you. Thank you. Hey, I work outside a lot. And the thing that always skees me out, when I walk into a spider web. Oh, yeah. You can never get it off. It's on me. It's on you for all day. At my folks' lake house, dude, you go down and take the jet skis out. You're like, all right, man, I can do this, man. I'm a man. I can do this. You take the cover off, covered, covered. And my dad has to go down on a daily basis and clean all the spiderwebs with a broom. How about an eyelash on your tongue? Ew. I'll eat a nose hair right now. Where you're like, there's a little hair on your tongue and you're trying to grab it and you're trying to. Can't get it. Mike, what about these? Oh, the little. The banana hangies. The little banana hangies. Inside of the peels. Disgusting. I'm fine with the banana hangies. I eat those. You know what? Mike, we got an email from M1Rotus and he's going to save mine and your lives because he said to get an eggshell piece out of your eggs.
Use the eggshell like a spoon. They will attract each other. Really? I never knew that. I'm trying it. I'm trying it. I'm going to do it. Genius. This one's pretty good. M1D Savage. Hey, how gross is it when you borrow someone's, like, earbuds and it's got a chunk of earwax? That's the worst. I would never borrow someone's earbuds. No way. I've done it before. And then, like, you try and wipe it off and it just works itself into, like, the little holes. I'm going to admit this right now. And this is about how weird I am. What? My wife and I, yeah. My wife and I have the same earbuds. And she couldn't find hers. And she realized that the reason that she couldn't find them is because I had been using hers. You jerk. I didn't know. And so she was getting ready. And I made sure that. we had the swap back, even though they're the same exact pair. Did she know about the swap back? No, she's hearing it now. Oh! Yeah, but... And I know her well enough to know that she's like... No, no, no. Not that she's vomiting. Really? That's what she's doing. She's like, we're married. You couldn't tell me? You can't keep... I can't have yours. You can't have mine, really? That's a big deal to you? Yeah. But to me, it's like, I have to have... Even though they're the same exact... I have to have mine. Yeah.
But did that gross you out that you had been wearing hers? That's weird, though, because don't you guys share everything? Share passwords and bank accounts? We share passwords, but I'd rather not share earwax. She didn't have any earwax. I do. I want my own earwax. Ew. She could care less. I know it. 570. $1.94.9. I can see Mikey. What about when people have like the little sleepy dick in their eye? How about me? I have a bat in the cave after every show for some reason. Does that skew you guys out? I always let you know. Every day. She's like, I've got a booger. I'm like, great. Again. Every day. I would want to know. You would? You want somebody to say, hey, you got a boog? Yeah. The way you just turned to me made me feel like I have one right now. Now I'm like this. Now I don't want to know. Just go like this. Oh, you know what else freaks me out? The guy that pulls... First of all, who carries a handkerchief? The guy that pulls it out and goes... I carried a handkerchief forever because my dad did. And then put it back in his pocket. Disgusting. Dad takes it out of his backpack. Here, use my handkerchief. Got another one. What? The guy that takes the Kleenex to pick his nose.
What's wrong with that? It's repulsive. Use your finger like a normal person. Oh, my God. Really? Dude. The finger is repulsive. No, it is not. That's what I do. I mean, I do do that. But if I were being clean, I would use a Kleenex. That's repulsive. I wouldn't do it. You don't pick your nose with your finger? Who's got a Kleenex? Wait, Woodsy, do you pick your nose with your finger? Yes. And you somehow think that that's better. Yes, it's better. It's not as creepy as the guy with... Dude, a Kleenex is a finger condom. It doesn't matter. It's got this... It's sticking out and it's got all this toilet paper around your finger. And you're like, dude, really? Watch this. I can do this on the slide. How about the guy who grows out his pinky finger now so he can get in there and really do some good digging? I don't grow it out for that reason, but I do do some good digging. Everyone picks their nose when they drive. Of course. It's like right when you get in. Don't tell me you don't need it. Don't tell me you don't need it. You do. You do, too. You do, too. You do, too. You do, too. Liars, liars, liars. You do. Yeah, you do. Oh, really? What do you do? Wipe it on your leg? Really? Really? Really? I get it. You know you do. You know you do. Our program director's online. Roll and flick. He is? Yeah, he's calling. Tell us about something. Oh, Garrett. Garrett. Philly.
Detroit. Seattle. How you doing, buddy? I'm good, guys. I just want to let you know you'll be pleased to hear your first billboard has been spotted. 94 westbound, about a half a mile east of Federal by Lemon Grove. It looks amazing. Yeah, the 94 for 94. Very cool. That's it. I'm leaving. Thank you. Bye, Garrett. Tell Scott Shannon hello. We talked to Garrett the other day and we said, Garrett, we really want to get a real clip of you so that when we talk about you on the air and we do your voice, we can play it. And he goes, what do you mean? And I go, we got to have a clip of you, of your actual voice. And he goes. Absolutely not. I don't sound like that. I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I don't sound like that. When I was meeting with him yesterday, he said, all right, Noah, I have to say, I know you're going to kill me for this, but... Back in Detroit! That's so great. Poor guy can't even mention Detroit anymore. And I'm so bad now that when I hear Detroit, I start laughing immediately. Like, I'm watching the news, they're like...
Over in Detroit, I'm like... Anytime I hear just the name Scott. If I hear the name Scott, I'm like, Scott Shannon? I love it. I love him, man. Garrett's the best. Garrett. We love him. What's happening? Are we done? Yeah, I'm like, where's Hillary? I'm worried about Hillary. Where is Hillary? Where is she? Here she comes. It's here walking down the hallway. Hillary. Oh, it's a slow walk, too. That's right. Make it right, Hill. Eight second delay. Here she comes. Here she is. She's walking in. She's waving at me. She doesn't even know we're talking about it. Let's ask her what skews her out. Hey, come in. Hill, did you hear us talking? Yes. What skews you out? Tattoos. There's a funny thing about... I thought of one. It goes back to parenting. There's a lot that can skew you out. Yes. I can handle my own daughter's everything. Yes. And I don't even think twice about, like yesterday in our backyard, she had a runny nose. I reached over with my bare hands, grabbed it, wiped it off, wiped it off. No problem. You just get so used to it. But other children still. It's disgusting.
Yeah, and I love them all, but I can't deal with neurosis. Snotty noses. You are saying right now what every parent thinks. Yep. Every parent thinks it. And the same thing with, like, same thing with diaps. Yep. I can deal with my kid's dipe. I can deal with it. But if you're around somebody and they're changing a dipe, you're like... I worked at a daycare center where I could change everybody else's kids. I've changed so many other kids. I've never had. Bless all the people at my child's daycare center's hearts and across, around the world. You get used to it. Here's the deal. I open a bag of dog treats and I puke. I literally vomit. How am I going to be as a dad? I've opened dog treats and been like, I gotta go. True story. And get ready for projectile. Like, I've held my hands out to cup my daughter's vomit before. And been like, whoa, oh, honey, you're gonna be okay? Like, you don't even think about it. Like, oh, here, let me catch it. Yeah. And then, but yeah. You think you're watching The Exorcist, bro. You get used to it, Woodsy. It's pretty, pretty crazy. Dad, I think I'm gonna throw up. No dice. It's pretty crazy.
