Mikey kicked off the show discussing big watches with Jay and Woods, questioning whether a large face signals success in job interviews. The crew then moved to the turquoise word‑of‑the‑day giveaway, promising SeaWorld and Pink Floyd tickets to caller nine. Later, they detailed plans for Operation Street Impact, debating shorts versus sweatshirts while hyping a $24,000 Harley‑Davidson giveaway. The segment on Newt Gingrich’s presidential bid sparked a partisan debate, with Mikey defending the former speaker despite his personal controversies. Jay’s “Buy Curious George” idea drew criticism for its invasive questioning of callers’ sexuality, while Woods’ printing joke highlighted the Padres’ 23‑hit surge. The show closed with hard news: jockey Michael Bayes’ death, Bin Laden’s journal revealing new attack plans, and a UC Davis study tying maternal health to autism.

Don't worry. It's going to be nice. It's going to be nice out today. Yeah. It's cloudy yesterday morning, and then it got clear. Same bit today. All right? It says it's going to be overcast, but I'm not buying it. It's supposed to cool down, too, like as the week goes on. It's supposed to start cooling down tomorrow and stay cooling down. You've really been challenging the weather forecast. And it's been working. Me challenging it works. You keep doing it. You can do what you're doing. Now, they say that OSI is Saturday, and they say that it'll be, and they are they, the weathermen. The weather people say that it will be sunny. Yes. Sunny but cool, 60 degrees. Skullcat? Perfect. Probably, yes. When I go to OSI, I will be dressing like it's summertime, but bringing some backup. Bring some kind of a...
Sweatshirt or something. Shorts? I think so. I think so. Absolutely. Yeah, I think shorts. Really? Oh, it's going to be... You should be standing on asphalt. It's going to be hot. It reflects heat. Yeah. That's true. It's 60, though, Jay. It's 60 that day. It'll still be warm? Oh, I think so. All right. I'll go with Jay. He knows more about it than I do. He's been doing it longer. I believe I will have pants on. You will? Mm-hmm. All right. Not going to don the bikini. You're not. No bikini. Sienna, you're going to be the only one in the bikini. I guess so. And me. Yeah. Well, that's because you have big jugs. Okay, well, my name is Mikey. It'll bring people, you know. Whatever it takes, you know. Boom. Take one for the team. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 40 years old. I'm a big bezel guy, which means... Ooh, that hoe is big. Which means that... I like watches and I like them to have a large face. And my dad is the opposite. He's one of these guys that likes those quarter size, you know, watches. What would I be? I'm a mid-range. You don't wear a watch. If I do, it's a mid-range. Like it's a mid. I'm just a mid guy? Yeah. I think a large watch is strong. I love it. Don't need it. Love it. I think it looks hard. Who wears a watch anymore? Yeah.
I haven't worn one in years. It's classy. Don't talk about it. I've always heard that when men go in for a job interview, the watch is what tells the boss that's interviewing you what kind of person you are. Yeah. Fair enough. Yeah. You know what they say about big watches? Small ones. Dainty wrists. Yeah. All the time. I wore a watch that I never wear to the interview. Here. Wow. Yeah. Never wear it. And I wore it specifically for that purpose. Nice. Good for you. Dressed nice and, you know, the whole thing. Woods is our sports guy. He's the guy in the knit cap. It doesn't belong to him. It belongs to Jay. He belongs to me now. He belongs to Jay now. Yes, it does. It's on keeping it. And Woods is 35. Yes. And he's originally from Texas. Correct. Originally from New Jersey is Lauren O'Brien. We call her L-O-B. And her thing has been scarves. She's been doing that the last couple of days. I told her I like it. It's chilly in here. Yeah, it is. Sienna. Ferrar is our news girl. She is the one on my left. And she is fond of, well, she's not. Her family's fond of saying to her, they don't just run in the family, they gallop. It's just a true story. About breasts. Well, FYI. She didn't know. Jay is our producer. He's 47 years old.
Doesn't look it. I know, he doesn't look it. He looks a lot younger. And our phone screener is Chris. Let's see. EBW is supposed to be here this morning. I don't know if she's playing music or doing something. It's coming in. Word of the day is turquoise. And so when I say turquoise, between now and ten, caller number nine. Gets a four-pack of tickets to SeaWorld and a pair of tickets to see the Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular. May 13th at 4th and B. Wow. Bring your weed. Oh, wow. Interesting. Better not reference that necklace you're wearing, Mike, because then you might accidentally say the word. Or your bracelet. Yeah. Or even the earrings that you have. I think the toe ring really takes it over the top. Did you need a matching purse to go with your jewelry? I was just going to ask you, is there anything funnier than a dude wearing that particular brand of stone? Is there anything funnier? Is there anything funnier than a guy in turquoise? Probably not. You know where you see that? You see it at a truck stop in Brawley.
I don't know where Brawley is, but I do know. It's between here and Yuma. Okay. I do know where Riodoso, New Mexico is, and they wear it there, dude. They wear it real good. I think more San Diegans probably relate to Brawley than Niamoso. Riodoso. Riodoso, New Mexico. You never know. You know what? Yeah. You never know. Hey, Sedona, Arizona. How about that? Yeah. A lot of turquoise there. Yes. I picture the guy that wears turquoise is the same guy that smokes a lot of cannabis. The middle of his fingers smell like tobacco. They're yellow? Yes. Yeah, yellow. Salt and pepper hair, maybe? Salt and pepper hair? Just turquoise stuff real good? That's right. That is right. Deep lines in his face. Yes. Is everybody calling because they think I see it? Yeah, and I'm pointing to it because Chris is like, do I take him? I don't know. Did you say it on purpose? Fine. He did say it. Fine. He did say it. I did. A couple times. Yeah. I did. It's okay. Yeah. I did. Thanks for getting up early. Great. Thanks for listening. Lucky you. Yeah. Let's see. M1 Quito from San Diego. What was that word of the day? Door cross. Oh, yeah. Well done. Well done. Winning. Hang on the line, sir. Hang on the line. Thanks. So he's still sleeping. He did.
Me again. Me again. So, Sienna, what are you going to wear to OSI? I don't know yet. I need to get a new outfit and make sure I look good. Oh, really? Yeah, I want to wear, I like the dresses. I'm a big fan of dresses. So I'll probably go pick up something like that. You're going to be putting stickers on cars and stuff in a dress? Yeah, I won't be wearing like a little tiny dress. Probably like a long. We'll see. We'll see what I find. All right. Anybody else? How about you, L.O.B.? Well, now I feel like I have to get one. I was just going to dust off some of the old dreads in the closet. Yeah. I don't get out much, so I like an excuse to buy something. Yeah. Well, OSI is going to be gigantic. It starts at 10 on Saturday morning. And our suggestion to you is get out there early. Because when you're giving away a $24,000 Harley-Davidson and the brand new Mikey Show sticker, then there's going to be some demand. Two days, four hours, 48 minutes. Wow. Until Operation Street Impact, OSI, Qualcomm Stadium. It's free. You don't pay anything. You just come through and you have a chance to win an FXDB Harley-Davidson from San Diego Harley-Davidson. You also have a chance to win Surround Sound from Tried and True Home Theater and Security.
And his and her mountain bikes from Haro. Ivan has guitar. It's great. It's on. So come on out. OSI Operation Street Impact. May 14th is Saturday. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Qualcomm Stadium. Be there. So yesterday, via Twitter, who announced that they are going to run for president? Sienna? Our former House Speaker, Newt Gingrich. How about that? How about that? Very underwhelming in my eyes. And I'm a GOP guy. He has quite the background, too, that could make it very difficult for him to win. Yes, he does. Three marriages, and he's admitted to an affair. Feels real good. Good luck, though. You know, I just want to say I don't think people should hold things like that against Newt Gingrich. We know Bill Clinton. Because, you know, everybody makes mistakes from time to time. Fair enough.
Why would everybody have to bring that up? Why don't they just leave it alone? Clearly his parents made a mistake when they named him Newt. Yeah. Hadn't he been through enough? Yeah. Forgive and forget, I'd say, at this point. Newt on Obama yesterday on Hannity. You said to me on this program once that you think, don't underestimate President Obama, he will be difficult to beat. He will be. Because... First of all, he's going to say whatever he needs to to win. Second, he's going to have all the advantages of the mainstream media. So that'll make him different from any other president. How? Or any other politician running for anything? Sheriff? Mayor? Really, Newt? Valid point, my man. I'm going to let you have that. What do you mean, let me? He's the campaigner-in-chief, is what Obama is. Who isn't? Name one. Really? Name one. Name one. I guess it's just levels. You know what I mean? I guess for me it's just levels. Okay. It's levels of... Fine. What were those troops doing overseas that you were going to bring back? Just over killing terrorists real good. I know that. They weren't. We sent in special ops. I know.
Didn't he say he was going to bring him back? I mean, it's kind of a big thing. He's done a lot of stuff that he said he was going to do, and he hasn't done a lot of stuff that he said he was going to do. Again, my point is, how does that make him different from any other president ever? I guess because his were so lofty. He said we were going to have free health care. We don't. Right. That's a train wreck. Our economy is in the toilet. And see, it's hard to even go into it because you go, well. The liberal side will say, well, that's your fault. Right. GOP says that's your fault. He's going to have all the advantages of left-wing billionaires like George Soros. He's going to have all the advantages of the Hollywood crowd. And they're going to go out and they're going to have all the advantages of the unions. And so they're going to try to raise a billion dollars for a very practical reason. He can't afford to run in a fair election. If he was on an equal playing field, he'd lose. Just bet you say it on his record. Yeah, but on his record, on his values, on his beliefs, the American people by 79 to 16 believe we want American energy. He thinks we want Brazilian energy. He's talking about values? That's right. He did say that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you're right. I'm not Newt Gingrich. I'm not waving the Newt Gingrich. Why do you have a Newt Gingrich headband on right now? Just got it. It was free. And I needed one. I needed a Newt Gingrich headband.
But I wasn't willing to pay for it. They were giving them away if you were able to eat 44 tacos in an hour. So you got two. Of course. Oh, wow. Hurt a little bit. He cuts so deep. Oh, he cuts deep. But you know what? We're going to be able to get back at Uncle Jay today, aren't we? What? You see, Jay, yesterday... Our girl, Sienna? Oh, yeah. Where's she going? She's under the board. That's right. Don't you hide, Sienna. Don't hide. Don't you hide. I love you. She never hides when she gets me. I love you. Never. I know, but I loved it. I love you, too, but it's a love-hate. It's a different love. Oh, my God. It's a different love. I just love you. I'm just kidding. Sienna.
Sienna likes to tape people secretly. Real good. And one of the things that we have had a good time with here on the Mikey Show is the fact that Jay, during meetings, has outrageous ideas. And so... Creative. Outside the box. Yes. Outside the normal box. Whoa. This is an example. Let me give you an example of Jay's idea. On Wednesday, we have a meeting. Every Wednesday. And we're all to come to the meeting with ideas. And an example of what Jay will do, he'll have 44 ideas. Correct. Okay, we will have about three. Yes. Okay, we'll have about three apiece. Woods will have about one. Woods will have one. We'll have about three ideas apiece. Jay comes with 40 ideas. But here's the ideas. Now, understand before you hear this. That when it comes to morals and values, I lean more right, conservative, Christian. Okay? But we're all different. We're all different people. We're all different people. We're all unique. We're all our own specific person. So Jay will come to a meeting and he'll say, Hey, Mike, what do you think about, we do a bit, we call it, Buy Curious George. Right? And we have people call in and we got to figure it out. Are they buy? Are they curious?
Are they straight or are they gay? Are they gay or are they straight? I don't know. By Curious George. Like on Wednesday, maybe he's gay. On Friday, maybe he's straight. The point is, Mike, you don't know. The listener's got to guess. And I go, no, Jay. They can explain their activities, and we got a guess. Well, was that gay? Was it with a man or was it with a woman? Is it physically possible with a woman? I'm like, no, we're not doing that. And he's like, fine. Fine. Fine. Sue me. Sue me. Sue me. All right, here's another one. He's trying to be dynamic. How about, and then he'll come up with these real sad ones. Yep. It's depressing. How about if we do, have you ever seen a porpoise with their blowhole covered up? Mike, what's the best? And they're just, they want air so bad. They're floundering. Yeah, they're just like. Hey, Mike, what's the best piece of jewelry you ever stole from a casket? All right.
What did you get for it? I think you say that. You said that yesterday. And it's in there. You'll hear it. At 7.30, we're playing it. Oh, yeah. We're playing it back. Thanks, Deanna. Oh. I love you so much. It had to be done. It's so great. It had to be done. I mean, especially since during the meeting yesterday, Woods and I both said at separate times that it's our favorite time of the week. It's the best. Wednesdays, I'm like. I thought it was a trust tree. Here we go. So. That's how it always starts. And then he has to hold his paper like four feet from his face so he can read it. The print is so small. You're the one that prints it. Woods has a joke when he prints stuff for Jay. He goes, hey dude, do you want this in 24 pot? Yes. Love you, man. Me too. Padres are doing great so far. Well, no. Well, yesterday was good. Yesterday was good. We cannot take yesterday away from them. Yesterday, it wasn't good. It was insane. They had 23 hits. They scored eight runs in the eighth inning. 23 hits. 23 hits. It raised their average 14 points. The team average went from 216 to 230 yesterday. Oh, wow. It was unbelievable.
It is one of those things where they were at Miller Park in Milwaukee. They won 13-6, by the way. They beat the Brewers. And it was one of those things where I watched the highlights, and you could see the frustration. They were just pounding the ball. They had 18 singles, three doubles, and two home runs in the game. It was awesome. Wow, wow, wow, wow. You know, playing ball my whole life. Your team has a game like that. You're really due for a letdown the next day. They always say, don't use them up. Don't use them up today, dude. And you got to hope that they don't. But they had nine hits in the eighth inning alone. It was incredible. Hey, yesterday, Woodsy told us about Michael Bayes, who we all know here. You go to Del Mar and you watch the races. You see Michael Bayes as a jockey. He's been a jockey for years. He passed away. And they found him at Churchill Downs because he actually raced in the Kentucky Derby, right? Yeah, well, this is a really sad update to that story. He was supposed to appear today in court for a preliminary hearing related to his November arrest for possession of cocaine. So they caught him in November. They found a baggie of cocaine in his pocket.
Today was supposed to be his trial date, and they found him dead on Tuesday. They don't suspect foul play, but they are doing an autopsy right now. So a couple different options. Maybe he was... Let's let people... Yeah, there's a couple different things you could think of. Sure. It's pretty sad, though. It's very sad. Bin Laden's journal shows that he... Now, thoughts on that, by the way. Hink. A heart lock, I'm sure. Heart lock. Kept his key around his neck. Gold inlay. I can see some gold inlay. Gold inlay in there. It showed that he wanted high casualty attacks on the U.S., but that is probably a big dent was put in those plans when we did two to the chest, one to the head.
Kept him up real good. Well, before his journal was found, the conventional thinking was basically that he was in hiding since the 9-11 attacks, which prevented him from having any operation control of al-Qaeda. Sure. Well, instead, his influence was basically in every recent major al-Qaeda threat. I bet. So the journal was found. I mean, he... Yeah, he wanted America to suffer again, and he wanted another 9-11, and he wanted another attack on a significant day, like the 4th of July or the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attack. And he had been advising striking smaller cities instead of just New York and going after trains as well as planes and stuff like that. I mean, all in the journal. I think it was under his mattress. It's so scary. Were you looking at this again? Were you looking at it? Because I know what it was, and I had it face up. It was not face down. I just lifted up your mattress and there it was. Okay. How about we have a deal? You clean like you're supposed to. Yeah. You come once a week. I was just cleaning. I know, but it looks like somebody was reading, too. I am using the bit that my mother used to use on me when she would find things that I wasn't supposed to have. I was just cleaning your room. Yeah, every mother has said that. I was cleaning your room. I was cleaning your room. What, are you cleaning between my mattresses? Of course. What's down there that you need to clean? Bed bugs. Playboy.
Bed bugs. Very famous actor. His wife just had their kid and she didn't want him to leave the hospital room. Even to go, you know, to make a phone call. She needed him right there. Wait till I tell you what she made him do so that he wouldn't leave. Would you do this? First of all, would you do it as a wife? Second of all, would you do it as a husband if it was asked of you? Wait till I tell you. And it's a true story. People are going to like this. It's a good time.

But after swinging open the fridge, I saw the most horrific sight. Not a single cold beverage. Not a single Coors Light. Perhaps behind the milk. Or the dill pickle spears. But there was still no Coors Light. No ice cold beers. So I raced down the stairs to the mini fridge below. Not one silver bullet. No blue mountain glow. I grabbed my keys. It was time to hit the store. But stopped when I heard a knock knock at the door. It was my girlfriend. Bearing gifts of Coors Light. Best girlfriend ever? You got that right. Thank you. Lord of the Rings. That's right. You know that. No, I don't. You knew that. No, I didn't. He's Legolas in the movie? Legolas. He didn't have legs. Legolas. Legolas.
Legolas. Legolas. That's right. Sounds rad. He's an elf. Of course he is. He uses a bow and arrow. He's a legless elf. Legolas. So he's really short. You know what I'm saying. He's a foot tall. He lives in a tree and makes cookies. He's not a Keebler elf. He's a legless elf. I got it. I got it now. So listen to this creepy story. And then the doctor said, okay, you're going to have to be induced because there's not enough. This is not Madonna, by the way. So I was induced. And then 27 hours later with not one drug, because I'd been, I was determined that I was going to use any pain medication at all. I admire women that do that, but... Why? Why do we? Why is it such a... What is it? A mark of courage? It's good for the baby. It's a badge of honor? Yeah. It's good for the baby. It's good for the baby? Yeah. Yeah. Stressful birth, though. The thing goes in your spinal cord. It goes in your spinal cord and it goes up to your brain and it controls stuff in your brain. It's not getting the baby. Kim didn't do any. She had to have for the first one because she had C-section. And when she came off the drugs, it was...
hideous. She would flop around the bed like a fish. That's good for you. I was great. The epidural, greatest decision of my life. She loved it. I didn't scream nothing. I was like perfectly content. Yeah, Rebecca was in the worst pain in the world and they put that thing in there and she was like... Can we get to mind anything? Yeah. She did. I was so happy. True story. And you're like, yeah. Yeah, we can. That is extremely difficult. And I know, because I'm a woman, who's given birth. And let me tell you, my baby was almost 10 pounds. Was it born fully clothed? You come out wearing a miner's helmet? 10 pounds? Yeah. Good God. Orlando, by the way, seems like a very nice guy. How was he as a dad during that process? Was he the kind of dad who was really involved or not so involved? Yes, he was there every moment by my side. I mean, I never even let him go to the bathroom. That seems exciting. Listen to what she did. Oh, no. Stream. You didn't let him leave? That's 27 hours. He probably had to urinate at some point. Yeah, he had to pee in a bottle. What? Oh, boy.
Oh, my gosh. Take it in. Take it in. Take it in. Take it in. I made him pee in a bottle. You made him... He couldn't leave the room, so he had to pee into a bottle. Yeah. Okay, that's not a good thing for the baby to see when it first comes out. The baby needs to learn. The baby's going to think that's how humans do it here on this planet. He made him pee in a bottle. Oh, boy. Darling, I have to... I have to pee really, really bad. You're not going anywhere. But I need to pee. I'm about to pee. It's a Gatorade bottle. Shut up. Gatorade. We're in England. We don't drink Gatorade. No, we live in Hollywood. So just take a different bottle. Give me that Guinness can over there. I think it'd be all right for 20 seconds while I relieve myself. Oh, will it be all right? I think it will. Darling, happy birthday to you. Yeah, happy freaking birthday. Because your son won't see you in the 20 seconds that you can't control your bladder. Can you imagine? There's bathrooms in the hospital rooms. He could pee and still see her or at least be able to talk to her. Keep the door open. Yeah. Hey, babe. Some men are very controlled by their wives. Yes. I believe you're at a different level when you're peeing in a bottle. Okay.
All right, I understand. I just showed a picture. She's a Victoria's Secret model. Oh, okay. In that case, I'll pee away. Yeah, they look like brother and sister. This is like the, I guess it's the 30th anniversary of Jerry Seinfeld doing comedy. So Seinfeld is doing these things where he's like, he's putting his favorite clips of his comedy on his website. Happy birthday. Yeah. Well, this one kind of has to do with that. Father's involvement. Well, there's so much you can teach me. First of all, you, as I do, you have kids. How's domesticated life? Tell me about that. I mean, people are curious about your personal life. How does Jerry Seinfeld? Yes, they are. How are you enjoying the family life? I love it. I love having kids. Well, you know, the male domestic instinct is really only two things. One is the announcement of your arrival into the home. All fathers must announce daddy's home. This will change everything. In our minds, we are thinking family members are now going to drop to their knees and weep at their good fortune. But they do not, because they know once your jacket is off, that concludes your involvement with the only thing going on in the house. Yes, yes. You know, the... That makes me feel better.
So it's not just me. It's not just you. It's not just me. It's you and Jerry Seinfeld. It's me and Jerry Seinfeld. Hey, kids. How are you? All right. See you later. I'll be upstairs. Monster. Jerry's a monster, too. I guess. A couple of monsters together. A couple of monsters. Having a monster's ink together. Having a monster's ball. L.O.B. ran into a monster yesterday. Big hideous fangs. That's right. She was at the grocery store and ran into everyone walks around me lady. Do you know who everyone walks around me lady is? No. She's the lady that stands in the aisle and will not move out of anybody's way at any cost. What? We know everyone walks around me lady. We've all experienced everyone walks around me lady. Oh yeah. She's the lady that'll happily stand in the middle of the aisle and continue to check the ingredients on pickles. As you awkwardly fumble your cart around her. First of all, lady, move. Move. And move your stuff. Move. Get. Get out of my way. Get. Second of all, it's pickles.
Pickles. You know what pickles taste like? Pickles. Yeah. There may be a higher sodium count. Oh, shut up. Oh, boy. Cucumbers, vinegar. Peppercorns. Peppercorns. A couple spices. Dills. Yeah, dill. You're good to go. Let me answer that for you. Zero calories. Tastes like pickles. It's a pickle. It's a pickle. It's not stuffed with cheese or anything. You're fine. Keep moving. Ew. somebody like this does it, she will politely, she puts in quotations, politely push past them. And in your head, you're secretly fuming. On fire. Cursing in your head. Stupid bee. The second time the person does this, you will loudly say something like, you do it. Excuse me, ma'am. Oh, wow. Excuse me. I need to get by. God. So temp. And sometimes you will add a loud... Holy cow. For good measure. Fool me once. Yeah. Shame on... Yeah, shame on... Fool me... Fool me... You can't be fooled again. Well, men and women, I think, are different in this regard. Sienna, what tactic do you take with the everyone walks around me lady? I would be exactly the same as Ellie. You do it like that? Yeah. Don't mind me.
I think men are more direct. We go, excuse me. First time out of the gate? Well, the second time I go, hey, can you move your cart? Women don't do it that way. Women don't like, hey, can you move your cart? They can't do that. I can't do that. You can't do that? Second time? First time. You'll get a sigh. You'll get like a, excuse me. Again, excuse me. Well, that's not. See, I don't think it's rude the second time. I don't think it's rude to say, excuse me, can you move your cart? I don't think that's rude. It's not. I don't think you're being rude. I think you're being. You know me. I'm very indirect. It digs a little deeper when you're like, excuse me. And they can tell that you're annoyed. See, I'm oblivious guy, though. Yes. I think that there's a difference between everyone walks around me lady who clearly has it set in her mind. You can go around. There's plenty of room. And then there's me, oblivious guy, where when someone goes, excuse me, I hurriedly go, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. You can tell the difference between those two people. Once you say, excuse me, I hop into action. That woman, once she got the excuse me, was the, and moves a centimeter out of the way. Oh boy, with her out.
Woods saw Lady Gaga's Monsters Ball concert last night. Yeah, it's good. I watched a second of it. It's freaking hideous. Man on the show. Man on the show. We've all seen it. Did you, Lauren? Nope. Me neither. Weird. We've all seen it. Really? Think our dancers are gay? Not one. Not one of them. I don't think one of them is. I mean, holy smokes. I bet it's fun to be on that production. I just got a visual of what it must like. be like to be on that production. It was a parade of filth. Yeah, it was. I watched it and was like, oh, wow. You know what I think the deal is? She is the first to do something. Now, she's not the first to shock us. No. She's not the first to shock us because Madonna shocked. Alice Cooper shocked. Alice Cooper shocked. There's a lot of people that shocked us. She is the first to do something, though. She is the first.
to be the Marilyn Manson of pop music. There has not been that. Female Marilyn Manson. I don't know that there's been a male Marilyn Manson of pop. There will be. And when they do, they're ripping off Lady Gaga. Because Lady Gaga is the Marilyn Manson of pop music. She's like her, if you want to call it this, bit. is sort of religious taboo. Yes. And, you know, like that's her, and blood. Blood smeared on her stomach. And I couldn't, you saw a little bit, Jay, you watched the whole thing like me, I'm sure. I couldn't tell if she was lip-syncing or not. I don't know. It sounded like a track behind her. And boy, she was dancing a lot. She says she doesn't. She will never voice. Because I would be like this. Well, you would be. That's me. She's in shape. I think she has a great figure. Oh, man. Butter face, though. Total butter face. I think her face is okay. I think she's an amazingly talented singer, and I think she's disgusting. I think she's hideous, and I think she's everything bad about our world. I disagree. I really don't care the way, but I saw it, and I couldn't turn away.
Jay, why do you disagree? Well, you can't say that. And I know this is your, you're going to argue the other way. You can't, you just take it. It's entertainment. I'm not going to go and go, wow, now I have to go nail someone to a cross. Or, you know, that doesn't affect me that way. I go, oh, look at her. She's doing a performance art piece. This is what she's doing. It's performance. I mean, it's, you know, when you get her backstage, she's probably like, yeah, give me a Bud Light. You know what I mean? Like, she's probably not like, I'm about freedom of the mind and spirit. body, isn't she? I think she was born that way, though. Oh, boy. She's got a hell of a poker face, and I'll tell you that. Yeah, I think so. Here's the thing. I don't believe that people watch her, and then they go, I'm going to go nail myself to the cross. I don't think that. It's a little over the top. What I do think, though, is that people see it, and now they're desensitized to it. Sure. And so then the bar gets raised. Yeah, I mean, I saw Marilyn Manson in concert. He was part of like an oz fest or something and dude i mean i watched it was like oh my gosh oh yeah i mean but now i'm like that was 10 years ago you know i'm like big deal i've already seen manson you know now you got it like swallow blood on stage and you know well ozzy osbourne did it and that didn't make me want to go bite heads off bats either or again on the alamo it isn't about peeing on the alamo and biting the head off a bat i don't believe that the person will see it
and then go bite the head off of that. Right. What I do believe is that as a culture, it desensitizes us to it. See, so here's going to be my question to you. My question would be, what is it that would shock you? If somebody took a dump on stage, would that shock you? It's already been done. It's already been done. What? Gigi Allen. No, no, no. You're talking about pop music. Even if I saw that every day. Okay, pop music. It would shock me. If Mariah Carey did it, I'd be shocked. Okay, well, hang on. What I'm trying to tell you is, it'll happen. Hasn't happened yet. Right now, if I say it, there may be people that go, oh, my God. Are you kidding me? No, there will be a woman. It's probably going to be our kids. When they're parents, they're going to, when our kids are parents, they're going to say to their nine-year-old, you're not watching that. And they're going to be like, why? And our kids will be adults, and they will go, because she goes poo on stage. And our kids will be like, oh my gosh. Get over it. It's just art. Who doesn't? Mom, who doesn't do that? I know, but you don't do it on stage. Okay, so let me think about this for just a minute. So Lady Gaga is taking fake blood and smearing it on herself, and that is the same as pooping on stage. Okay, let's back up.
Let's back up, okay? Ridiculous. Let's go back to Elvis. Okay, let's go back to Elvis. Okay. Elvis came out on stage, thrusted his hips around like he was having sex. Yeah. Is that the way you do it? Because that is not the way I do it. It is too. You got a broken hip. Oh, wow. Don't ever do that again. I wish we had a video. I'm terrified. I'm terrified of what I just saw him do. It was unbelievable. Okay, now, back in Elvis' day when he was swinging his hips, where did Jay go? Does anyone know where Jay went? Where did Jay just go? Oh, well. He had to get his bacon. It was burning. Now, back in Elvis' days when he was swinging his hips around, my mom said that her mother was disgusted by it. Boy, is she? Yeah, she was. She said that that was awful, that she'd never seen anything like it. Now, if my mom... had suggested well hey mom what if someday there's a woman that comes out on stage with blood all over herself and she's wearing a nun's cap a habit somebody would have said so you're comparing a guy swinging his hips with something as ludicrous
And never, ever going to happen, by the way. Never. It's never going to happen that a woman would put a nun's hat on and smear blood on herself. So let's like get real here. Let's not go into fantasy land. It's true. It's true. Only thing is, that's where we are. So if you think it may not be our kids, kids, by the way, it may be before our kids are even in high school. Could be before 2012. Yes. Because the bar. keeps getting raised. That's the thing. Just entertain us with your music. How about that? Quit with the stupid antics. How about singing? Oh, they didn't even say you're bored. No, you would. I would not. Every show I've ever been to, some of my favorite shows have been my favorite bands up there playing my favorite songs. Yes. And I didn't need fire. I don't need a big backdrop. Just go out and rock the house for three hours and jam. I'm impressed when they have an audio visual. The whole thing is a giant show. Pink Floyd did that. They put blood all over themselves. Pink Floyd's show was, you'll never forget it. They didn't come out with a strap on. A giant pig that would come down. It's true, man. I'm just being honest with you. I'm serious. Hey, you think that's a joke?
on this deal? That's what she does. Agreed. Swinging on an adult swing. You're like, really? We get it. It's like she takes every single taboo and she's like, I gotta make a list of these taboos and then I gotta do it. Hey, Bernie, did you get me my list of taboos yet? Because it's four o'clock. I need the taboo list. Hey, idiot, you got the game taboo. What am I supposed to do with this? Freaking moron. Go give this to your stupid kid. Just like her, by the way. Just like her. That's what she talks like. Holy cow. Well, anyway. It was my afternoon. A bunch of rockets hit Gaddafi's compound. Four rockets. Four? And two people were killed, two men. And 27 people were affected. They say mainly people suffered from the smoke inhalation. Pack your stuff. We need to get the hell out of here. I get phone call and they say a rocket's coming. We need to go. Let's go. Do you see television? I see television. I haven't done reveal yet. I don't care. Play the DVR. There won't be a DVR. Fair enough. Pack your dop kit. We need to go now. I'm a doctor. I do home calls. Well, pack your doctor back and let's get the hell out of here. Not until we reveal. I won't leave. Well, I'm not waiting. Well, it was this time yesterday you may have heard me talk about how the police chief, William Lansdowne, was apologizing on behalf of the police department and all the recent accusations and the problems that some of the people on the police department have been getting in trouble for. Well, yesterday, probably the worst one yet came out, and a San Diego police officer was thrown in jail on suspicion of rape, assault, kidnapping, and other felony charges, Daniel Dana of Escondido. Now, he's been a member of the San Diego police department for three years. And basically what happened was a woman reported yesterday that he sent her a text message. This woman is a prostitute. He sent her a text message at 3 a.m. to meet him at Presidio Park, where he allegedly forced her to have sex with him by threatening to arrest her if she refused. Now, some other things have come out too, but he is right now in jail being held without bail. The police chief came out again and he's just outraged. And, you know, this is bad. He said that there have been zero complaints about him before. And his ratings, his performance ratings have been great over the last few years. Well, that one would be easily provable because if he's got a cell phone and it's on her. I know. And it's on her, you know, cell phone. Not good. Also.
You know the movie Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson? That's the one with Dracula is in it. No. Mike, it's Dracula and it's June Carter. Yes, it is. June Carter. Yes, it is. But this story I know about, it's sad. It's sad. Wood sent this to me yesterday afternoon and there were tears in my eyes. Really? Of course. Me too. The main elephant. This one is like really, it's abusive. BS is what it is. The main elephant, his name is Ty. Video has come out. Very shocking video of his trainers mistreating him. Particularly shocking him with tasers. There's some really, really awful things. pulling baby elephants. There's a video of a lot of the elephants. Ty is the one of the star of the movie, so that's why it's mainly focused on him. But there was baby elephants being pulled by their trunks. Yeah, a hook, like hooks being put through the elephants, having their tusks sawn off. I mean, just crazy stuff. You know what I don't get about it is I don't get where that practice...
Like, how did that start? How did somebody go, no, let's do this? They're trying to train the elephants and, you know, they want them to balance on their head and do all this stuff and make them a lot of money. And the elephants are stronger than them. They're not listening. So they're going to, you know, use whatever power they have to train these elephants. And it's just awful. In the video, you hear, you know, elephants screaming in pain. It's just awful. I can't watch that movie. Yeah, I didn't. I didn't watch it. I couldn't do it, but I was reading all about it. It's the same thing I have to do to you and Woods. Elephants for... Elephants for Wendy's. He got me pretty good. I mean, he got us. I mean, it's over. The competition is over at that point. Can't really say much. The good news is now the public is aware of this and the elephants are going to be saved and hopefully have a much better life now. Well, I was going to go see that movie and now I'm not going to. I mean, I'm just... I don't like animal cruelty. Yeah. Monsters. Woods, what's going on in sports? Well, if you didn't hear earlier, the Padres beat the crud out of the Brewers yesterday, 13-6. They had 23 hits in the game. Club record is actually 24 hits in a game, which they've done twice. But it has been a long, long time. Scored eight runs in the eighth inning. It was awesome. It was nice to see them break out. Raised their team average 14 points to a robust 230 average. And if you didn't know...
The Boston Celtics are done for the year. The Miami Heat and the Big Three took it to them last night. Dwayne Wade, 34. LeBron James, 33. 97-87. Boston is out. Better get used to not winning championships in Boston this year. This is the 911 call from New Orleans made from a witness who allegedly saw Nicolas Cage in a domestic dispute with... His wife. It's a terrible emergency going on across the street involving a child, a man that's out of control screaming, let me in, let me in. And he's holding a baby. I think he's trying to take it from its mother. It's right across the street from me in the French Quarter. And I think it's going to escalate into something very bad. And they're screaming and screaming. And this man, I think he's going to hurt this child and woman. Oh, wow. Wow. Pretty crazy. That is crazy. Isn't he in a new movie? Nicolas Cage? He's not. I thought he was. He is. Yeah. I've never been a fan. A couple things. Does anything good ever happen in the French Quarter? No. Seriously. I mean, maybe something good happens in the French Quarter at 12 o'clock in the afternoon. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, the street music. Yeah. Maybe a corn dog. Has anything good...
Ever happened in the French Quarter at 2 a.m. in the morning? No. It was good when I was 21 and I was in the French Quarter at 2 a.m. It's all relative. The word good in quotation marks. At 35 at 2 a.m. in the French Quarter? It's no good, pal. Listen, I just remember going to New Orleans and their streets reminded me of the same texture as the movie theater, cement. Where you sit down in the movie theater and the cement underneath your feet, it's like tacky. Sticky. Yeah, yeah. That's what the streets were like in New Orleans. Oh, yeah. Smells delicious. Oh, yeah. It's just a wonderfully smelling area. Sienna, what's this link? between autism and a mother's health issues. Well, this is a new study done by UC Davis. And basically they're saying that women with diabetes, obesity, or high blood pressure during pregnancy are at a greater risk of having children with autism or other developmental delays. Yes. Wow. There's a lot of autism stuff coming out right now. Absolutely. Let's see.
Woods, I'm going to have to ask you about it because I didn't get it, but I want to get it. From your recap, you said that you were at St. Germain's Restaurant, and there was a dude playing guitar, and you said something. You're talking about the intro, and I don't get it. Okay, well, we went to breakfast there, and we had a little bit of a wait, so we were just kind of enjoying the entertainment that was going. The guy was really good, but... When he started, he did this thing. And Jamie, my wife, actually pointed it out to me. And once she did, I really started to pay attention. Then I started to die laughing. I'll demonstrate. Say what it was. I called him. I texted myself immediately because I wanted to tell you. The talking guitar guy. It's the guy that starts playing a song, but he talks. He talks before he starts playing it. This guy went on for 15 minutes. What do you mean? I'm just confused. Yeah. Ready? Yeah. Sometimes in this life, you got to reach down. And if you're down, you got to pull yourself back up. You know, when I was a kid, I grew up on a farm and we had it hard. You know, things were rough. Daddy was a farmer and, you know, mama was a homemaker. And I can't wait to hear the song.
And, you know, I went to high school and I got picked on. Oh, wow. And it was tough. It was hard for me. But, you know, I picked up this guitar. I think he's going to start now. He's going to start. I picked up this guitar. It's going to be good. Well, I went to my granddaddy's house. No, here. And my granddaddy showed me. Oh. Here it is. Showed me a D chord. Right there. That's a D chord. That's a D chord. Oh, wow. Then he showed me a G chord, and that's what that is right there. That's a G chord. That's a G chord. Yeah. And so what I did... He wrote a song. ...is I learned how to play the guitar. Yep. Do you think this is the song? And sometimes... Spoken word. When you get burned... Uh-huh. ...and you're the ashes... Yeah. What happens? You've got to climb out of the ashes. Here we go. Here we go. And you've got to dust yourself off. Yep. And you've got to pick yourself up. Yeah. Here it is. This is it. And you get up in the morning... And you put both shoes on. Right. Okay. And then you put your pants on. I know that seems a little weird. Check, please. But sometimes you got to do it that way. I had this girlfriend once. Can I get my coffee to go? And she said something to me. Check, please. Did she sing anything to you? And now I want to tell you guys about it. Okay, great. Now I'm going to tell you. I'm going to tell you exactly what she said. What she said. We were sitting in my car. Oh, wow.
Put a CD in. Okay, got it. Take that tip money out of the jar. Yeah. Thank you. Wow. I know exactly what you're talking about now. We were dying. I was like... Sing already. And finally it launched into, I saw her today at the reception. Wow. Rolling Stones, but... Holy cow, man. It was like, it reminded me of something I bet Bret Michaels does in concert. You know what I mean? Before Every Rose Has Its Thorns. I love that. Bruce Springsteen does that. I was dying. Long intros will kill you. Because you just want, you want to hear the song. That's all you want to do. Gaga's a big long intro gal, I noticed on her concert yesterday. Oh, man. Man, she's a... talker for 20 minutes when i was a kid and go to concerts when i was a teenager and you know m1s you may relate to this where you go to a concert and you're disappointed when they don't say anything because you want to hear what they have to say too in addition but if it goes too long well you know it's funny because that was a big player in the 80s for the 80s hair bands boy they wanted to they wanted to play you their song
And they were real earnest about it. And they wanted to tell you why they wrote the song. Right. In the 90s, everybody was too cool. And they just got up and played their songs and walked off. Yeah. This guy brought it back. And it was pretty entertaining. A cobra got loose at the Bronx Zoo. And then they found the cobra. Safely returned it. But the Bronx Zoo apparently has some security issues. Yeah, having some issues. We talked about it a little yesterday that a female peacock was loose. Have a name or no? Because they named the snake. Right, no, it doesn't have a name yet because it's been caught. The cobra was gone for a while. The cobra was named Mia. Okay. But now the peacock has been safely returned. It was found in a garage of a local business and seems to be okay. I have Lucy on the line. Hi, Lucy. Hi. Lucy's a peacock and you're at the Bronx Zoo and you are now back in the Bronx Zoo. Yep, back in the zoo. Right, and this... Lucy, the peacock, is, I guess, 23 years old. Oh, wow. And so, what did you do when you were out? You know, I did some things I'm not that proud of, but I think I had a pretty strict upbringing in the zoo, and I had to kind of get out there and experience life, you know, make the mistakes that, sure, you know, Mike, I know you've made them. Wow. Yeah, I have, I have. Well documented, I have, yes. That's right, Lucy.
Experimented. Okay. All right. Well, that's good. With what? Yeah. There was a little bit of narcotics involved. Oh, wow. That's hardcore. Wow. That's a hardcore peacock. Yes, it is. She's in the Bronx. It's true. Involved. Right. You know, just the kind of crazy stuff that young people get into that I just, I really didn't, I kind of wasted my youth on like. Kids feeding me. It's kind of what you're supposed to do though. You're a peacock. At the zoo. At the Bronx Zoo. But I needed to kind of like spread my feathers, you know, if you will. Right. I've got beautiful feathers and no one really has had the chance to kind of see them, touch them. Wow. Okay. How many people or how many other peacocks actually saw them and touched them while you were out? There was a couple different. There weren't all peacocks. You know, there were some pigeons. Well, then, I guess... I think there was a seagull that showed up. Okay, well, that's a little... We are talking to Lucy the peacock who escaped from the Bronx Zoo, who's now safely back in the Bronx Zoo, but apparently when you were out, Lucy, you took liberties. Yeah, and you know, the thing that I like to live by is no regrets. You know what I mean? Because, yeah, I didn't do the best things for myself. You know, I had...
A couple nights where, gosh, I probably can't even say it on the radio. You probably can't. Yeah, blacked out a few things that happened. Let me ask you something. Yes. Is there any shame in your game? You know, I think there's a little bit of guilt that follows you when you do these sort of things. Right. Did you wake up and sort of go, oh, wow, you know, what was that all about? I woke up in particular next to this crow, and I was like, whoa. I do not remember. Where did you come from? Where did you come from? Yeah. The only black crows that I've ever known were just the musical crows. The musical black crows. Chris Robinson. Right. Yeah. Wow. Well, hopefully you've learned a valuable life lesson. She sowed her oats. Yeah. I did. I sowed my oats. And I think I got a little bit out of my system. I'd be ready to settle down with a nice... Peacock. Peacock, yeah. Because technically I'm a peahen. Yeah. You're a peahen. Thank you, Lucy. Yeah, thanks. Alright, that's Lucy. She is a promiscuous peacock. So stupid. Wow. Who was that? That was L.O.B. That was L.O.B.? That was L.O.B. It didn't sound like L.O.B. It was a parrot. So stupid. Alright. Okay. You guys should L.O.B. about it.
You want LLB about it? I'll be about it. Wouldn't we? I'm never going to have to shave or wax again. That is not appropriate, Lauren. Yes. Yeah, sign me up for that. You're not going to robot your way out of it. You can't robot your way out of everything. It's not cute anymore. In the beginning, you robot it. It was cute. And everybody was like, oh, look, it's so cute. It's not even a valid response. I'm sorry, what? Gigantic. Now you're just trying to be provocative. Howard O'Brien. Lady Gaga O'Brien. As I use my lips. That's enough. Longer than I tell it. Okay, fine. I get it. I got an email for you. Let's see what you think about this. 570-1949 is our number. Mikey, I'm a little peeved at a buddy of mine and wanted to get your take.
Over the weekend, we went out with some other friends downtown and had a few drinks. We might have had more than a few. This particular friend of mine lives downtown, so I ended up crashing on his couch at the end of the night. Well, when I woke up in the morning, I noticed that the 220s that I had in my wallet were gone. I asked him about it, and he said, with a guilty look on his face, that I must have spent it the night before and don't remember. I'm 99% sure that he took the money from my wallet. when I went to sleep. And now I don't know whether I should be mad or feel sorry for him. What do you think? Thanks, someone Padre. Well, Padre, if you had a few drinks, or as you put it, maybe more than a few drinks, who knows? I've had a couple of nights where I've had a few drinks and I'm handing out dough because we're at an establishment that you hand out dough. Strip bar. Subtle.
Okay, it's a hell of a drug. Round of shots, maybe a bot. Maybe a round of shots. Maybe you dropped it. Drink up. Be married. Welcome. Maybe you dropped it. Yeah, maybe you dropped it. It could have been any number of things. Yeah. But how are you, first of all, and you can call Padre if you're listening. How can you be 99% sure if you were, by your own words, drunk? Inebriated, yeah. Yeah, you had more than a few. I mean, if you're drunk, what do you know? You know what I didn't like in there is the, he had a guilty look on his face. I'm like, what are you, Magnum P.I.? Yeah, exactly. So you go. My wife? Hey, I had a couple 20s in my wallet. They're gone. I don't. How do you do it? Why are you looking at me? I wonder where they are. I'll take a polygraph. Yeah, it's. Maybe don't leave your wallet laying around. Yeah, that's true too.
I mean, you should be able to at his buddy's house, but you shouldn't think your buddy's going to pilfer dough from you. No, the old rule applies. If you're asleep, then I get to keep. That's right. That's how it works in this bell house. I oftentimes go through Finn's wallet. Finn's my 19-year-old. I'll go through his wallet. Hey, listen, I'd go through Jasper's wallet. He's only eight. What am I going to find? Cookies. Cookies? Mine steal cookies. Like taking cookies from an eight-year-old. Now, listen. I might have stolen this piggy bank, but it was one time. It was no big deal. If you're going to leave it out, teach a lesson. My motto, if it's around, it's going down. That's right. You know that. Hey, listen. I know how long it took him to save up $2.48. I know that. Problem is, don't leave a piggy bank just laying around if you don't want it robbed. What it teaches them is the value of hiding things. That's right. You got to learn how to hide better. Finders keepers. M1 Dave from San Diego is on the line. He's got some input. Go ahead, Dave. Hey, Mikey, how's it going? Good. Hey, so, yeah, I mean, my friends do this all the time. They go out, they get crazy, they drink, and...
wake up in the morning with a panic attack about where's my wallet? Where's my cell phone? Oh my God, it's gone. That whole thing. And it's like 20 minutes later, an hour later, it reappears. Or they actually, if it's money, they legitimately blew it like trying to be a rock star for everybody in the bar. Right. And that happens. I mean, yeah. The strange thing about M1 Padre's email to me is that he's immediately assuming that it's his guilty friend. Yeah, he sucks. Yeah. That's one way to put it. Yes. Thank you, Dave. Hey, Mike, a quick side note. I saw Lauren O'Brien's comedy show last Friday. Oh, it's that Dave. Oh. And I'd like to say to all the listeners, very good. Thank you. Excellent. Thank you, Dave. Sweet. Appreciate you, buddy. Did I just call him bruddy? Hey, buddy. Thanks for calling him bruddy. When we come back, you get to hear Jay.

Surf-wise today, a combination is some small southwest in the water, some lingering west-northwest. Down inside's a little bit, but pretty clean today. Running in that kind of ankle-knee-waist-eye zone on average, up-to-chest type of standout spots, and that'll primarily be at those areas that are picking up that south-swell pulse, as that is expected to fill in a little bit more throughout the day as well. Conditions pretty clean, overcast skies right now, but it looks like an early burn-off, likely. Winds are calm or light offshore. So grab a longer board or a wide-bodied fish type of board and go find a way to surf. For up-to-the-minute surf reports forecasts, go to surpline.com. And for your surfboard repair and restoration options, go see Joe Roper. The surf report can only be heard three times daily right here on FM 94.9. This has been the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. And now back to the Mikey Show. I'm also being told. I have no uterus. With Mikey. I know it's be different. It's not be perfect. Okay. There's a lot of theories on what happens with a dinosaur. Woods. Listen, girls like the aloof guy. I'm going to teach them how to be the aloof guy. Not the little P word that I was sometimes. Zienna. Is it not okay to even let my dog pee on the lawn anymore? Because I was feeling guilty about it. And Jay. I'm against first. On FM 94.9. They're going to be at Independence Jam. It's Everest.
There's only 250 tickets left. You better get these tickets to our Independence Jam because when they're gone, they are gone. Can't wait. Are you ready for Jay's Outtakes? More than I've ever been ready for anything. So... So sorry. We've discussed it before. We'll discuss it again. Oh, yeah. That when we have our meetings on Wednesday as a show, we all get together. We come with ideas for the show. And... Jay's ideas tend to be fabulous. They tend to be one of a few things. Either they are way more perverted for my sensibilities. What a fabulous idea! Or they are sad. Morbid? You pointed one out to another one that he hasn't done in a while until yesterday.
And it's that just real general one. Hey, have y'all ever painted a house? Ever been on a first date? When we very first started, his ideas would run along the, do you know anyone that plays a musical instrument? Something that everyone does. Everyone knows someone that does that. And that was his rationale. He'd be like, hey, gosh, hello. Everybody does, you know. It's relatable. It's relatable. But he's gone away from that. So now his deal is either filthy or a little morbid. Yes. This was Sienna secretly taping. Sorry, Jet. I love you, Sienna. Gosh, it's rad. Easy, Jason Priestley. Okay, don't freak out. Just to kind of give you a bird's eye view. There's a couch in our studio. We have our own studio here, Studio M. And there's a couch in here. And there's a gigantic oversized bean bag. I'm laying on my stomach on the bean bag. With a blanket over him. With a blanket over me. And I have my arms behind me like I'm Superman. And Sage was here too, my daughter. So you may hear her. You'll hear Sagey. And L.O.B. was sitting next to me on the bean bag. Playing with Sage sometimes. And Woodsy, where were you? I think I was right here. No, I was sitting in the corner. He's on the ground. On the ground.
leaning against the butt of the couch. And Jay was sitting on the couch. I just want to give people a visual of what's going on here in this meeting. That means I'm not going to like it. Craziest place you've ever had sex. That's real. That's Jay. That's Jay. Yesterday. Reading from a piece of paper that he came up with. And printed. Everybody's had it, so... I'm not making a sound. That's the easiest place you've ever had sex. You can't tell me that. Jay, you think we could talk about that on the air? We just don't say that it's... You don't have to be descriptive of what the sex was. Yeah, but... You know that... Oh, I don't? Jay? Oh, okay. Oh, in that case... Yeah, because that's what I figured was it was going to be a very graphic and detailed account of each individual M1's...
Crazy sex play. Intercourse. Yes. Steps that got you there. Right. Steps in the whole process. What position, Mike? That's like a famous newlywed topic, and then the girl's in my... Yeah, but we don't do that. I was on a tram at a zoo, and they stopped the tram. What? Jay! Starts telling us his story. Yeah. And now just told him. Now, he'll do this. He will, in the meeting, he'll bring up the crazy thing. And I'm like, no. And then he proceeds to tell us, like, he becomes an M1. There are children on that tram. I still don't know if his tram story was real or fake. Oh, it's real. Oh, believe me. Oh, my God. Nobody was in our car. Oh, that's good. I'm like the Geico caveman. I don't care. Anywhere. Anywhere. A giraffe looked in on us. I don't want to know. A giraffe. A giraffe. There's little ears here. His head came in the car. He did. No. Okay. Okay, how about, have you ever made someone cry? I forgot about that one. I was cackling like crazy, dude. It's my favorite day of the week. Have you ever made someone cry?
Have you ever made someone cry? Everybody has, but that's weird. It's sad. It's good to make people cry. Jay, what are the calls going to be? Yeah, what's a good call? Yes, I have. This is John and PB. Go ahead, John. I made a girl cry one time. I was really mean to her. I called her fat. Okay, thanks. All right, let's go to Terry. Sage even thinks it's funny. My mother-in-law, she looks pregnant. Mike, that's a good one. Mike, this is Terry and PB. I made a girl cry once. What did you do? I kicked her in the shin. We were seven. That's really great, man. See you later. I'm pushing the hopper for calling. Jay's at home, and he's like, let's see, let's see. What is everyone can relate to? Everyone's made someone cry. Exactly. I made Mikey cry yesterday. That's right. I said something, made him uncomfortable. Like a little girl, he started crying. He just made you look in the mirror. Okay. Oh, my God. That'll do it. Oh, my God. That is mean. That'll do it. That's the worst one.
What? Sorry, your ugly fat face. You push me in a corner. Lamb bastard. Yeah, you push me in a corner, I'm going to come out with a gun. I'll come out swinging. Oh my gosh. Okay. Fine, whatever. Does anyone know anybody? Jay does take some beating. He does take some beating. Constantly. Because we're getting him in this thing. Oh yeah. But he knows. If he comes with, have you ever made someone cry? He knows how I'm going to respond. He probably does it now just to see the response. Oh yeah. Okay, wait. Hold on. I don't like it already. I know. Yeah. I like it. I'm not going to read it then. No. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Read it. No. Please. Did you edit that? Because we had to tell him for like two minutes to do it. We're like, do it. Okay, do it. Do it. Do it. We kept finally telling him, do it. Do it. Do it. And finally she got it. The pictures out of the, you know, the death pictures. How about we have M1s call in. pictures of death that they've seen. Do you get it? Obama's pictures haven't been... Osama! Osama! My kid! Bin Laden's pictures haven't been released. So Jay says, let's put it to the M1s. Have you ever seen a dead guy? A dead body. You ever find a dead body? It's like there's a whole video. Like what? Pictures of death.
Pictures of... Or maybe if you've ever seen a dead body. Ew! This is my favorite part of the week. It was like, stand by me. Like, if you saw a dead body? Like, what, describe what it looks like? No, just tell a story. Oh, my God. You know. Like, every Wednesday or something, somebody's going to run into something. Absolutely. And you're going to be like, oh, look at that one. I'm just wondering, like, which was the funniest one? Oh, my God. It's the best. It's disgusting. A little morbid. Minus the little. When Woods says, first of all, Woods likes every idea presented in every meeting. It's great. Because he refuses to be known as a guy that will be like, I don't know about that. You know, like, what about this? So somebody will be like, oh, I have an idea. What if we dance and we just dance? Nobody describes him. He just danced. Woods is like, that's not bad. I can see that. That's good. I'm in. I'm in. Yeah, that's my bit. In. So when you hear Woods, see, like, Lauren's been dancing this whole time. No one knows. It's radio. Oh. I thought it would be funny for us. Yeah. So when Woods goes, it's a little morbid. A little morbid. 30 in the morning. They're driving to work. Okay. They're about to start their day. And it's, hey. Hey, everybody.
So today, we're going to call today Death Thursday. Oh, my God. We were just thinking, you know, hey, we were talking about Osama Bin Laden's photos that are not out there. Got us thinking. What dead person have you seen? Oh, my gosh. Boy, Jay was on one last night. 570. I don't want to hear about anyone's dead body. Have you ever found a dead body? I have. What? I've told you that story. Oh, yeah. You saw someone get killed, though, bro. I saw someone get killed and I used to recover dead bodies when I was like... So why don't we, you know, talk about it. You know, people probably having their breakfast and everything. Get their omelet. And as they're shoveling it down, we'll just talk about dead bodies. Do you know what they call this? Water cooler time. That's right. Hey, did you hear Jay this morning had the best dead story? There's nothing he hasn't done. Hey, top five people you've exhumed. Best stuff you've ever stolen from a casket that's in the ground. They don't need it anyway. They don't need it. Mike, I know this is weird. Smelliest body you've ever exhumed. I mean, but we only take the real right ones.
I'm not reading anymore. I'm done. Wait, give me the paper. Are you? No. He has 50 more ideas. How many ideas? He has four. No, I have more, but I'm not reading anymore. This is the only one. He's never got four ideas. He's got 55 ideas. If I give you a real number, he's got at least seven, eight ideas. Oh, yeah. I'm so sorry if I'm prepared. Sorry. Sue me. Y'all sue me. I got 100 ideas. It's called over-prepared, actually. I'm just trying to make up for Woods who brings what I did. So this is me reading his last idea. Know anyone affected by the storms in the South? Is this the flooding? He said, do you know anyone? Because he wouldn't read the idea. He wouldn't read it. Do you know anyone that's been affected by the storms in the South? The flood. The flood, yeah. Oh my God. That's not what it says. Yeah, it is. Oh my God. Number four. I hate you. Jay! I don't really love you, Sienna. I hate you. Do you? Do you just listen to Slow Stain songs? I would try it with Uncle Jay. He writes his ideas with the lead singer of Stain. And with Aaron Lewis. Aaron Lewis. They get together and they're like... And Robert Smith from The Cure. We can open the phones, dot, dot, dot. Jay, it's me, Robert Smith, from The Cure. Listen, I've got an idea. I like an idea.
I did. I want to talk about when people hang themselves. What happens to them? Jake, this is Robert Smith. I just got off the phone with Michael Hutchins. I was thinking maybe you take calls. Suggest it to mine. See what he says. You take calls on... Auto-asphyxiation. Wow. Let's try it out right now. You just go, listen, this is a topic right now. It's a hot topic. Call in. Call in if you have accidentally killed yourself. This is the best day of the week. Someone in quicksand to see what it feels like to almost death. You know what I'm trying to get in? Did you hear what he said? I got two I want to try it on right now. What was that? I don't know if Lincoln Financial is going to go for it. But I want to try it. We're going to get it at my house. We're going to film it. Backwoods. Get in line. Oh, my God. It's the best. How come we never see that recorder?
Where do you put it? Well, that was me grabbing it at the end because I knew his ideas were running out and it was like... No, it was sitting right in my purse right next to me. It's the best. It's so great. How would we see it? We have a thousand things on the counter in this studio. So much stuff in here. Mostly empty food containers. Tastes like a gardener. He's got to get those digs in. He does. Real good. That's right. They'll just put that knife in. It's the best. When his name gets drawn out of the hat. On Wednesday, I'm like, oh, here we go. I sit up and prepare myself. He has like a system. He goes through. He crosses one leg over. He's got a legal pad that he taps on. He's doing the shirt. Yep. Doing the shirt shimmy. And he goes, so. So, listen. The shirt shimmy is when he's nervous. Signature. He does the shirt shimmy when he's nervous. It's an itchy back. No, it isn't. He grabs the corner of his shoulder of his T-shirt.
And then he grabs the bottom opposite side of the t-shirt and he shimmies it back and forth. Probably at least 50 times a morning. At least. Yes! I'm not nervous. I'm not nervous. He only does it when he's nervous. I'm itchy. When he's not nervous. Listen, you would have gotten the spot in the last 12 years. You would have finally gotten the spot itched. All right? Cool. All right. Or you have crabs on your back. One of the two. Hey, so I got a... email that said uh mikey i hope you don't hate animals as much as you seem to oh wow i know yeah i don't don't you know and i'm like oh boy and so i now the reason is because i'm not overboard uh as an animal activist woods i think has very
clearly separated himself as somebody that is extraordinarily sensitive to animals and just absolutely loves animals. But I was like, well, I want to clear that up. And so it got me to thinking, why don't we do a hope you don't segment and let M1s call? So you can say, and it doesn't matter whatever it is. I don't care what it is. I'll answer it. And it could be directed at any of us. You could say, Woods, I hope you don't chew as much as it seems you do. I do. He does. Tobacco. I do. And he'd have to say, well, truth of the matter is, I do. Hey, Mikey. Oh, wow. Oh, is that me? Yeah. Hey, Mikey. Sorry about that. It's okay. Excuse me. It's all right. Pardon me. It's okay. Let me out. It could be... Jay, I hope you don't make those kinds of comments all the time. I hope you're not really agreeing. And he would have to say, truth of the matter is... Mikey, I hope you don't eat as much as I say you do. That could be a genuine... You could call and say, Mikey, I hope you don't go...
to fast food as much as it's made to appear that you did. It's common misconceptions. Common misconceptions about me, Sienna, Woods, L-O-B, Jay. Now, I'm talking, you know, real stuff. Yeah. You know, I'm not looking for the gag. Hey, L-O-B, I hope you don't slay as many black guys as you make it seem like you do. She doesn't really slay a bunch of people. She's got a boyfriend. That's a joke. Oh, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Yeah, sign me up for that. Okay. 570-1949. I hope you don't. That's what it is. I hope you don't. I'm nervous. Well, I'm nervous too, but I'll answer it. I will too. We're on the hot seat. Yeah, and we'll answer it. I hope you don't. And then it's whatever common misconception you may have about any one of us here. On the Mikey Show. 570-1949 is our number. Let's clear the air. Yeah, we'll clear the air for you. Arnold Schwarzenegger made his first comments yet about the separation. I just talked to Maria an hour ago before I came here. And we both were saying the same thing. We're amazed and we're extremely blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people. We both love each other very much.
We're very fortunate that we have four extraordinary children. And we're taking one day at a time. We love each other very much. I don't ever want to see her again. Her face. But I love her very much. And she, conversely, hopes that she never even talks to an Australian, let alone an Austrian, ever again. Fair enough. 570-1949. They are lining up right now. Oh, God, are they? Yeah, they're lining up. Phone lines are starting to light up. 570-1949. And it is, I hope you don't, common misconceptions about any of us here on the Mikey Show. Woods says, I'm genuinely nervous. Yeah. But you know what? You have the opportunity, pal, to set the record straight. Wow. It's anything that you have experienced.

I'm going to tell you right now, this is going to be a spicy meatball. Oh, no. We're doing something called I Hope You Don't. Now, the whole reason it started is somebody emailed me and said, I hope you don't hate animals like everybody makes it seem. And I don't. I am not like Woods is where Woods is sort of, that is one of the biggest parts of his personality is that he is an animal advocate and really, really, really loves animals. PETA, card holder. Especially dogs. Now, my genuine take is I don't need to have a pet if we don't.
You know, when we have a pet now, when that pet goes to the afterlife, we will not be getting another pet. Really? No. Never get your boys a dog. No. Yeah, they need a dog. They need a dog. They don't need a dog. Okay, if that is true, what will happen if they don't have one? They will want one. I didn't have one. Then they'll turn out like me. I wanted a lot of things that I didn't get. The answer's not always yes. You don't just get everything. I wanted a flat screen. You got to say yes sometimes to make your nose count. Oh, I will. Yeah. You got a flat screen. Don't you have two? I'm an adult. I'm an adult. Okay, so you call us right now. 570-1949. And it's to clear up any misconceptions or anything that you're wondering. 570-1949. You know, any of that stuff. And it can be for any of us here on the show. Sienna, what's going on in the news?
As if bed bugs are not bad enough. No. Chew on this one. Some Canadian scientists have found that some bed bugs in Canada, in Vancouver, may have a connection to some bacteria because there are three patients in the hospital in Vancouver right now that have bacteria that they believe was from the bed bugs that they found in their home. Oh, wow. Yes. It's unclear right now if the bacteria came from the bed bugs or if the bugs got it already from the infected people. a new study. They're trying to figure it out. Are bedbugs, you know, disgusting and have bacteria in them and could make people sick? So that's what we'll be finding out soon, hopefully. Also, some good news, I think. You know the fire pits along a lot of the beaches here in San Diego? Well, Mayor Jerry Sanders, he's wanted to cut all the budget. for the fire pits because it's expensive to maintain and keep clean and stuff. But they will be staying around at least for another year because there were private donations and they will remain. So that bonfire you were planning at the beach, still on, Mike. The practice session you were going to have for Burning Man, still on. Yeah, I can still do that. I can still do that. What's going on in sports? The Padres won yesterday 13-6. 23 hits in the game was absolutely incredible. Eight runs in the eighth inning.
An offensive explosion from the Friars yesterday. It was very good to see. And then sad news. Former NBA forward and Michigan Wolverines star Robert Tractor-Trailer. Big, big dude. Was a high draft pick years ago. He passed away at 34 years old. And very sad. He was playing basketball in Puerto Rico and they found him in his apartment. Dead. No idea how he died yet. Alright, so it is misconceptions. You get to call us. You get to ask us. Hey. Mikey, do you really get as much fast food as you lead us to believe or that we're being led to believe? Blah, blah, blah. It could be any of that stuff. Any questions that you have for any of us. M1 Greg from 4S Ranch. What is your question? Mikey, my question is actually for you. Do you really wear Tommy Bahama shirts? Yeah. Now, are you genuinely asking that? I'm genuinely asking because I hear it on the radio. By the time I turn on, I hear you getting razzed for it a lot. And I'm truly curious. Yes. The truth of the matter is that I do own one Tommy Bahama shirt. And when I was on my old show, Ashley made a joke that it's all I own. And it has stuck. That joke will never go away. Never. And people seem to love it. I'm text.
pictures of the Tommy Bahama lounge chair at Costco almost daily by a different person. Yes. As am I. Yes. I'm tagged in them. And tagged in them. I'm also tagged in those pictures. So glad to clear it up, but don't worry. The joke will continue. Thank you. I love all you guys. You guys are great. Thank you, man. Thank you. We got texts, too. We'll get to the texts. M1 Anita from La Jolla. Jay. Yes. Jay. Jay. Yes. You're a perfect dad. You're a really great husband, scientist, gardener, builder, outstanding citizen. Yes. I hope you do not watch as much porn as I do. How much do you think I watch? Is this your wife? No, I don't think so. Sounds like Kim a little bit. Yeah. How much do you think he watches? Maybe three pay-per-views a week. Never pay for it. Oh, yeah, you know that.
I ain't going to pay for it. It's on the internet. I have the World Wide Webs. So I guess that answers your question. So no, not as much as you think. Well, how do we know? I'm so uncomfortable. I'm not sure how to answer that. Can you email your history, your browser? Oh, wow. Oh, God. You delete that immediately after use. Absolutely. Yeah, he'll show it to you, but you have to delete it as soon as you've seen it. I'm uncomfortable. Thank you. So are his kids listening. M1 Tony from Carlsbad. Mine's for Woods. It's been a beef of mine for the Mikey show forever. Great. It's kind of for Mikey, too, but more for Woods right now. He's the one under the microscope. Okay. Fire away. Go ahead. And you guys just set it up. I feel so good about it. Here we are right in the middle of the NHL playoffs. And like yesterday, Woods' first comment was about somebody smoking pot in the NFL. It was like... Really? I mean, come on. Are you really the anti or ignorant of the NHL as you appear to be? No, I'm not. I grew up in Dallas and was a very active participant in the Dallas Stars playoff runs, the Stanley Cup run. I was all the way in. When I moved here, this is my first sports gig on the radio, and I didn't really know what I was doing. I had a lot of conversations with Mike about it.
I think the best way to answer is I'm not ignorant. I watch the stuff, but I just try to stick to the big three, really, if you will. And can I answer my part of it? Yeah, please. Yeah, we will almost never talk about the NHL here. Now, I'll be honest with you, M1 Tony, if the NHL were as popular as you feel it is, We would talk about it. And I'll tell you why. Because it's a business. At the end of the day, this is a business. And we have to get ratings. And the reason that they hired us is because they thought, oh, we'll get ratings. The Mikey Show is funny and we'll get ratings. That's what they brought us here for. And that's why you do anything in a radio show. You do it because you think. Otherwise, I'd be talking about theology.
My entire show. Right. I'd be talking about black guys. Yeah. I'd be talking about the Yankees. Right. Notre Dame. Diamonds. Diamonds, pearls, sapphires, rubies. JV talking about porn. It would be about our personal preferences all the time. And, you know, we can't. Well, I mean, you know, let's put it this way. There's a game seven between the Red Wings are playing in a game seven against San Jose. I'm watching it. I'm watching it because it is very exciting. And when the finals come. When the Stanley Cup finals come, I'm going to be watching them. Playoff hockey is dynamite, and I'll report on the score of the finals of the Stanley Cup, but we're not going to do big hockey analysis. We're going to do Charger football and San Diego Padres baseball. If we were in, like, Buffalo, Philly. Detroit, New York. Yeah. I'm sorry. There'd be plenty of talk. I do love you, though. I hear you. I hear you. I'm not asking for a symposium as a simple... Yeah, and it's like, but the thing is, you know, living in San Diego, what score do you want? You know what I mean? I got to do them all if I do one of them. Yeah. That's the deal. That's why, man. Because there's not a team here. That's the main reason. That's the deal. Thank you. I appreciate it. I love you. M1 Wasabi says, Mike, have you confronted slash cleared the air with Dave Rickards about his accusation?
Of you stealing bits. Great question. This is what I did. I called Dave. He didn't answer. I left him a message. I texted Dave. And I told Dave that that is a lie. A flat out lie. I have so much. And I'm going to be honest. I had so much respect for Dave Rickards. I had so much respect for Dave Rickards. I really looked up to Dave. Years ago, somebody said, if you want to be successful, find somebody that does what you do and ask them what they do. And I pulled him aside and he was very gracious. And last December, I was leaving Claim Jumper and I called Dave and asked him about, he didn't have an agent. I didn't have an agent. I fired my agent. And I asked him all about how to protect my crew. And he gave me some dynamite advice, which turned out not to help. But he gave great advice. The advice was good. The advice was good. His advice was good. He's always been very complimentary to me. He's always been very supportive of me. The day before I was going to have surgery last year in August, he went on the radio.
And said, come on, Mikey, you're a religious guy. Haven't you heard thou shalt not steal? And said that I stole his bits. That's a lie. Straight up. That is a lie. I haven't stole one bit from Dave Rickards. Not one. And the reason I haven't stole any bits from Dave Rickards is, A, we work at the same time. If you hear any anger in my voice, I want to let you know that anger is hurt, sadness, and fear. And right now, I'm very hurt. And I've been hurt ever since it happened. I've been hurt that he hasn't called me back. I've been hurt that he hasn't responded to my text. And I was hurt that he went on the radio as a person that I considered a mentor and a friend. Not a good, close friend. We didn't hang out. But we talked to one another. And I had a great, had great respect for him as a man. Man up. Don't lie. Don't be a liar. I didn't steal your bits. I never stole your bits. And I wouldn't steal your bits. And you know why I wouldn't steal them? Because I had respect for you. I had deep admiration and deep respect for you.
And I don't play that way. I don't do it. The bits that he thought that I stole were now. And by the way, I'm going on the fact that I've never heard this myself. I never heard my other crew do their whole rap on me either. I can't listen to stuff that I know is going to hurt me. So I'm going on. What do you call it? Secondhand hearsay. It's not hearsay because I heard it. Yeah, I heard it. Jay heard it. Woods heard it. Wasabi's writing about it, that Dave Rickards from Dave Shelley and Chainsaw went on the air and said that I stole bits from him. Yeah. Now, it could be a classic business move. Oh, it's exactly what it is. It could be a classic business move. But in my world, you don't play that business with friends or people that you're good with.
If you're good with, because when he did that, he effectively said, we're no longer friends. And then by not calling back, not texting back and saying, hey, bro, you know how it is in this business. You know what I mean? Like trying to justify it even. Right. Didn't do that. He did the same thing to me because I was friends with him on Facebook. And as soon as I told him I got the job, because he was angry that I got the job, he removed me from his Facebook friends. And then I text him, really? Nothing. Like, oh, thanks. Happy birthday. After all those movies you were in, Jay? Yeah, man. I worked with him hand in hand for years. It hurts so bad. Yeah. It hurts so bad. Because, I mean, it's like, dude, imagine that you're like a musician. And you look up to a musician. And you think that musician is rad. And then you get to meet that musician. And he respects you. Which is really cool. And you just have such a great feeling about it. And you talk to your wife about the dude. And you're like this guy. And even your wife knows how cool that relationship is. It's not a big relationship. But she knows that you have admired someone. And that he likes you. That's where we were. When I was going through. Going into the contract renegotiations with the old station. I called him for support and advice. Because I wanted to protect.
the people on my show. And I knew he didn't have an agent. With an agent, they take care of everything. This was the first time I was operating without an agent. We had fired Eatman. And so I called him. He called me back as I was leaving that restaurant. We talked the whole way home. I pulled up backwards into my driveway. We probably talked another 20 minutes. I went inside, went upstairs and talked to him about another 15 minutes. And the text exchanges between he and I have always been really cool. In fact, I told him when I got this job, I offered him the opportunity to come on the air and tell people about his next gig. Wow, dude. Wow. I didn't know that. Yeah. And he said, I still have them. I still have those texts. That is, dude. That's insane. No, he was cool. He was like, you know, he didn't want to. And that's fine. That's a competitor. And you're telling him, hey, you can come on the air and announce what you're going to do. And the reason that I wanted to is, A, pure respect. And you're a fan. I'm a fan. You were a fan. The guy's great. You know, absolutely. Holy cow, dude. So when I heard that he had been saying that I stole bits of his, which is such a lie. Yeah, flat out. Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.
It hurt so bad. And if the move was, well, Mike is doing really well. And so I'm coming on the air now. And so in order for me to do well, I have to create stir and talk about him and that or whatever it is. Maybe it's radio. And the other thing could be the radio tough guy move, which, by the way. I remember when I was working at KCBQ back in 1994 or 95 here in San Diego. And I remember hearing Howard Stern sign on the air here for the very first time. And Stern's move was go after whoever's number one. And so he was making fun of Dave Shelley and Chainsaw. And at the time he had Billy, what's his name, the guy that used to do the voices for Ren and Stimpy, Howard Stern did. He used to have the guy that did the voices for Ren and Stimpy on his show. And the guy was incredible, man. Billy something. I can't remember. And he was imitating Chainsaw and doing the Barney Fife. Right. You know, because Howard was like, look at this guy, this douche. He does Barney Fife. And he had Billy going, oh, really? That's an old radio. Oh, really? I've never heard that in radio before. Oh, wow. Really? He does a Barney Fife voice. And I remember sitting there listening to it going, that stinks. That sucks.
I didn't like it. I didn't like it because I liked Dave. I looked up to Dave. And I was like, that stinks, man. There's more things that I won't mention that happened between then and now. But apparently he's changed his idea about me as well. And I don't know why he's changed the idea. Apparently he thinks that I stole from him. But that's a lie. I haven't stole from him. And here it is. The last, this is what I said to him. August 23rd, 2010, 12.04 p.m. Dave, I feel awful that you feel I had taken material from you. I truly have not. Please believe me because it's the truth. It breaks my heart that you think that. I just respect you so much, man. And it hurts to think that you feel this way because it's not true, Dave. It's not true. He didn't text back.
I called him. I left a message. He didn't text back. He texted me February 2nd, 2010. It was our second day on the air. He said, sounding great from day one. I said, Rebecca just said what I was thinking. Dave, you are just a class act. Thank you so much. Your thoughts mean the world to me. By the way, I'm available to you as an outlet if you would ever like to come on the air and speak to your fans. Because Clear Channel... unceremoniously dumped him like me. And I wanted him to have the opportunity to come on the air and clear the air and tell his fans anything he wanted to. He wrote back and said, eat it up, pal. You're in a league of your own. Thanks for your offer. Gonna stay quiet for now. Classy guy. I understand. If you're doing it, it's right and correct.
I said. Wow, dude. That's just pure admiration right there. July 16th, 2010, 9.32 p.m. I'd heard that he was going to another radio station. I said, Dave, it's Mikey. Congrats on your new opportunity. You're such a mentor, buddy. He never texted back. And then he went on the air and said that I stole from him. Extremely. That's a great question, Wasabi. Asked and answered, man. Wasabi, what's up? Bam. I hope that answers your question.

I stole it from another show, but I'm going to use it. People are going to sit on you. They're going to think you're a beanbag. Wow. Someone had me from Vista? Yes, sir. Hello. Good morning. Hi. Good morning.
Hey, just want to start off by saying that I like your show very much. Mike and gang, good morning. Good morning. And I just want to let you guys know that I support you and what you've been talking about, the DSC show. You know, I really like that show a lot. And when they went out of, when they got, I guess, canned, you know, I felt bad for... for Mr. Dave Rickards. But after hearing that on the radio, what he had said about you and your show, it really lost my respect for the guy and said, you know, why take cheap shots like that? Yeah, well, Woodsy was just explaining to me the bits that Dave Rickards felt that I stole. And the bits that he felt that I stole were Woods of Wisdom. Yeah, they do a thing, I guess, called Ask Boyer. And one of the guys piped up and he goes, yeah, they do a bit now called Ask Woods. And we don't. No, we do Woods of Wisdom. But is the idea that they call and they ask guy questions to Boyer? Yeah, I guess that's the idea. I've never heard their show since we work at the exact same time every day. I have and had no idea. Right.
They did something called Ask Boyer. It's an advice thing. And it's been going on since 1927 when Abby was born. Dear Abby. Of Dear Abby. Just about every morning show has someone that does that. Just about every media. What else? It was that one. It was the phrase that we use when we play Name That Tune. We use the phrase, use your name as a buzzer. I guess they also say that. They say use your name as a buzzer. Use your name as a buzzer. So we stole that from them allegedly. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Because I want to hit each one of those. One by one. Me too. Oh, wow. Use your name as a buzzer. I don't know how else to buzz in. Right. Right. We're playing a game called Name That Tune. It's the radio. How else do you buzz in? You guys were doing that on your old show. You guys did it on your old show too. How else do you buzz in? You can't hit a buzzer. None of us can hit a buzzer with having listeners know who hit the buzzer. So that's why we say our name. Who's that? Who's that? It's me. That's you. No, that's mine. That's mine. Mine's not working. That's my noise. Mine's not working. It's the radio. Right. That was the one. And I had no idea, nor would it have mattered. Even if I did know that they use their name as a buzzer, I'd assume that they're like,
Every radio show in America. Right. If they play a game and various people are playing the game, I would assume that that's what you're going to do. You're going to use your name as a buzzer. To jump in. Yes. Woods, Pearl Jam. That's how we do it. What else? And there was a shoot your co-worker. Oh, yeah. I forgot the BB gun. And we'd just come back from the New Orleans thing where they were saying, hey, we shoot our friends with a paintball gun. New Orleans thing, he means morning show boot camp, which morning shows go to throughout the country. Right. And we came back with that, and I was like, dude, I don't want to use a paintball gun in here. Let's just use my BB gun. Yeah, and it was fun. Well, we can't use a paintball gun. No, because it would get... We're on the seventh floor. Right. Paint everywhere. And I did that over with Clint back in those days, too. I used to shoot him with a paintball gun. And guns, period. And so what's the deal? Does Dave do something with a paintball or BB gun? Back in the day, he used to, and this is what I actually called one of his ex-producers, or somebody that worked on the show, and they were like, yeah, back in the day, they would shoot somebody with a BB gun. I've never, I have no idea. He didn't invent that, dude. I've heard that, stuff like that's gone on in morning radio forever. And then the one, LLB brought an idea back from the same morning show, Boot Camp.
Which is where it's this big brain trust and you all get together and you throw ideas around and it's cool and it's inspiring. And you're like, oh, these guys in Traverse City, Michigan did a cool bit. By the way, I don't go to morning show boot camp. Right. I do. Do you want to know why I don't go to morning show boot camp? Because one of my mentors named Dave Rickards said, you know what I do? I'd send the rest of them. I don't go. I don't. It's not really much. Okay. You want to be successful? Do what the success... I asked Dave Rickards. Yeah. That's what I ripped off. Right. The other one was the one that... But I asked him. She brought back Word of the Day. Yeah. That's not new though. And I also... That was from a melding of Advice at Boot Camp and Pee Wee's Playhouse. There you go. They had a Word of the Day and people would go... When they said the Word of the Day. It's just a way to give away prizes to listeners. I think they do... commercial word of the day. Some variation of it. I don't think the phrasing is called word of the day, but I don't know. Hey, Mikey, Pee Wee's on the phone. He's angry about Lauren stealing his bitch. I know. I'm sorry, Pee Wee. M1, Phillip from La Mesa. Hey, Mikey, I gotta tell you, this is kind of embarrassing. I feel kind of uncomfortable. You're spending an hour because Dave Rickards wouldn't return your phone call? No. No. No. No. That's not the deal.
But I can clear that up for you. If that's what you thought, I can clear that up for you. If you thought that what I was spending the last 40 minutes on was Dave Rickards not returning my phone call, no, that's not what I'm complaining about. What I'm complaining about is somebody calling me a thief. Has anybody called you a thief before, Phillip? Oh, come on, man. Has anybody called you a thief before, Phillip? Yeah. Are you a thief? Maybe, but the point is... Okay, if you're a thief, somebody should call you a thief. You know why? Because you're a thief. You're a thief. You're sounding like a whiny bitch. I mean, it's just radio, and you're just competing against each other. It's just a bitch, and you sound like a whiny bitch. And I think what it might be is that your ratings suck, frankly. Hey, Philip, do you promise not to hang up? Do you promise not to hang up, or are you going to be a coward? No, I'm not going to hang up on you. Okay, because usually what cowards do is they say things like what you just said, but then they hang up because they're cowardly. They also change their names. I wonder if your name is really Phillip. Yeah. It is? Yeah. Okay. Southern accent's real, too? What are you talking about? I'm talking about you, Phillip.
I called in because your whole little... I know. I know. I know. I know. But I'm going to tell you, I'm going to explain to you what the deal is. Now, you're a thief. So if somebody called you a thief, that'd be okay. You are. Yeah, you did. You said, I asked you, are you a thief? Has anybody ever called you a thief? You said yes. And I said, are you a thief? No, dude, I didn't say I was a thief. Are you a thief? I'm asking. No, I'm not a thief. Okay, cool. Okay, cool. Then if somebody called you a thief, that may bother you. I'm going to ask you a different question now. Have you ever hit your thumb with a hammer? No, I don't remember. Okay. Have you ever stubbed your toe? Yeah. Did it hurt? Yeah. Imagine if somebody walked up to you and said, you know, finger quotes, Philip, you sure are acting like a whiny little bitch. I mean, after all, you're in pain. That's pretty clear. But you sure are whining about it. And by the way, somebody asked you about that pain. You didn't take it upon yourself to start crying about it. Somebody asked you about it. Which is what somebody did with me. They asked me, have you talked to Dave Rickards? Maybe you didn't hear that part. But they asked, have you talked to Dave Rickards? And I took the opportunity to tell people that I hadn't and I told them why. Now.
If, in your opinion, that means that I'm a whiny little bitch, that's okay. But it also isn't true. But it's not the first time somebody said something incorrect about me. What I don't understand is why would you spend a precious hour of your airtime... 43 minutes. ...because of your bean butter. Come on, man. It's just people do this in radio. Philip. Philip, again. Again. The amount of time I spend on it... is completely up to me. I noticed that you held on the line, and when you hang up, you'll continue to listen, most likely. My guess is that this is compelling radio. What do you do for a living? Well, frankly, somebody who I went to San Diego State with is in advertising, and I don't work right now, but somebody knows that you're kind of, you told me the other day that you're kind of struggling.
I'm looking for a job right now, and I don't work. So you're a DJ? No. You work in radio? No, I want to get into advertising. You want to get into radio? I want to get into advertising. You want to get into advertising? Yeah. Well, first of all, your friend is mistaken. We're not struggling. We're doing well. But that's not the first time that somebody said something incorrect about me. But to answer your question as to why I go on doing this, you want to be in advertising. Now, I don't know that much about advertising. But if you were successful at advertising, which I'm going to guess you're out of work right now, but maybe you are successful in advertising, you would know how to run that advertising ship. And I've been put in charge of running this particular one. So I do whatever I think is best. If I think it's compelling, I do it. It isn't always funny. Sometimes it's serious. Sometimes it's funny. Sometimes it's all kinds of different things.
But the bottom line is that I just want your ears to stick to the radio. And unlike what your friend said, we're able to do that. Well, I don't know. He told me that back when you were at the other station, you were number one, and now you're like nine or ten or something like that. That is not true. Correct. Okay. That's not true. Then he lied to me. He did lie to you. He's probably just misinformed, man. He doesn't know. You have to work in the radio business to know what ratings are. That's right. And not only do you have to know. You have to be in the business to get those ratings because you have to pay for them. Not only that, but you have so many different demographics that you're talking about. Now you can say, now see, we're not even supposed to talk about it. Like you're not supposed to talk about the ratings. You're not supposed to talk about the ratings. Like we're not supposed to. You can say certain things, but certain things you can't. So there's certain things that I'm just not allowed to say or I'll get in trouble.
Yeah, it used to bother me, you know, and they'd say, oh, you guys are this and that. The way that ratings are now, it's much different than they used to be. Like when I started in sales, it was a diary system. Now it's a PPM, which is a, you know, an electronic device. And it goes, it's a month to month basis, man. And, you know, I think what bothers Mike so much, and I totally, it would be like if Mike did this to me one day, a mentor, somebody that I look up to. That's the reason, man, that it really upsets him. If it was Joe Blow that had his own radio show, Mike wouldn't care. But it's Dave Rickards, who he invested a lot with, you know? I respected the guy. It hurt my feelings when he did that. For sure. And we talked about it, and I talked about it. And I'm not, you know, I've sort of, that's, you know what, man? When it comes down to it, that's what the Mikey show has always been, is just kind of a reality show on the radio. Yes, sir. I'm glad you're a listener, Phillip. All right, bro. All right, Phillip. Let's see. M1, Sean from El Cajon. Hey, what's up, Mikey? How you doing today? What's going on? Oh, not much. You know, Dave talked about you ripping off bits. He's ripped off bits for years. Now, see, I don't know that. I have no idea. Honestly, and, you know, I don't know. I mean, I don't know. What I do know is that the guy's good.
The guy's real good, and I've respected Dave for years. He's good. You don't stay in a market for years and years and years without being good. Right. You guys are not familiar with the Stern show. I'm a Stern fan. And, you know, they had Stump the Joke Man. Oh, yeah. And Dave came up with Stump the Joke Czar. I mean, look, that's a blatant ripoff. And another one. Rival with me? You know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah. And another one, I also like Bubba the Love Sponge, and they have a character named Ned who does phony phone calls, and then all of a sudden Dave comes up with a character named Ned making phony phone calls. You know, it's like, come on, Dave. Dude, and it's, you know, being in comedy, all the great ones, you just don't, it's kind of understood, like you don't. You'll call each other out. Half the voices I do are stuff I've learned on movies and TV shows. And, like, the stuff that I try, I'm like, yeah, that's Bruno. You know what I mean? And, like, I just do it in my own voice and I call it a different name. And it's like, that's what you do. That's what I do. Yeah. And that's the thing, man. I mean, that's the deal. I don't know what he's done. I don't know if he's ripped anybody off. And if he has, who cares? I really don't. You know what I mean? Yeah.
And the fact of the matter is, is that if I did a thing where I used my name as a buzzer and he did it, I would be honored because I respect him. Yeah. You know? I mean, you think I'm the first guy to ever do Dave Matthews bit? I mean, they used to do it on Saturday Night Live. You know what I mean? And a guy called me out for it and I go, no reason to call me out, man. I'm just, it's one of the few voices I can do. I'm going to do the hell out of it. Yeah. And that's it. It's a feast. Well, you know. I'm glad that somebody asked because it's definitely been something that I've thought about and that's been on my mind. Really? Is that a fact? Somebody asked me, you know what? This is cathartic. I'm going to get some of these questions out. Feels real good. Let me get some of these questions out. Mikey, I hope you and Eddie don't remain estranged for the rest of your lives. M1 Drew from Scripps. Me too, Drew. Me too. I have reached out to Eddie. I've written Eddie. And the person I've heard back from Sky. I've heard back from Ashley. I've heard back from Rob. I've talked to Rob. And that's it. But I've reached out to all of them. And I was very, very close to Eddie for many years. We were not.
Here's something that I can clear up for a lot of people that they didn't know. Eddie and I hadn't been best friends for years, but how do you say that on the radio? If you begin by saying that, you don't really go off of that. You know what I mean? You grew apart. Yes. Well, you grew up. But you don't ever go at some point. First of all, you don't break up as best friends. No. So you don't at some point go, hey, just want to make it clear we're not best friends anymore. I thought we were not? Well, I'm breaking up with you as a best friend. We're friendly. Can I get that half of a heart necklace back then? Right now? Please? So we had grown apart. And grew up, dude. We grew up. He got married, you got married. You have kids, you have families, you have responsibilities. But we also changed. You changed. You changed. We also changed. I changed a great deal. He changed. We changed. But we couldn't go on the air and be like, we had gotten into this routine where we said, well, you know, Eddie's my best friend. Right. And, you know, really, people were very, very concerned that me and Eddie were going to talk.
Now, I'd like to talk just because I'd like to I'd like to ask, hey, why did why did you guys do that? I want to talk for that reason. I don't want to talk because I think he and I are going to go golfing. I know we're not going to go golfing. I know that. I don't like there being ugliness, though. Yeah, that's the deal. And also, you know, when people were writing, they're saying, oh, man, I hope things are good between you and Eddie. The one that I really wanted, that I needed to make the connection with, you know, I had to talk to was Rob. Right. And the reason is because Rob and I were very close. Eddie and I were not. We had, I mean, we didn't talk outside of the radio station anymore. Right. But Rob and I talked. Like, you know, we. Rob would be over at the house, and Rob and I were in a Bible study together, and Rob and I were very close. Right now, at this very second, I love that guy. I love that guy. And Rob is like a brother. He feels like a brother. He is a brother. He is. And I talked to him once, and I don't know. I mean, I don't know. Maybe that relationship at some point.
I told Sienna the other day, I had, it was so weird. I had thought that Ashley and I were, like, that she liked me. I thought we were friends. Like, I really did believe that. I truly believed it. And just could not have admired her more and thought so much of her comedically and just in general. had so much admiration. And so when all of that stuff was happening, I was like, it was just crush after crush after crush of just like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. Now, a year, what is it, a year and a half now? A year and a half removed from it? Yeah, it still hurts. It definitely still hurts, but it's like a scab, man. It's like a scab. It's just got to get better. And I know this.
I know that there are a lot of M1s that are former P1s, and this probably means a lot to them. Because I've only talked about it in any kind of a detail one other time maybe. Yeah, once or twice. When we came on the radio. Yeah, but never in full. So, you know, when we come back, we'll be funny. Can I just add one thing, though? Sure. I just wanted to thank Pandora for coming in and bringing her box with her and letting us open it up and bring out everything that was in there. Thanks, Pandora. Thank you, Pandora. You're very foxy. You're welcome. Thank you, Pandora. You're a sweetheart. I do have something really, really delightful for you. In-N-Out Burger, as you know, is a California thing, right? Well, they're expanding. They're going to other places. And they recently opened a new place up in Frisco, Texas. And there's a woman in California. It's a transplant that was moved to tears. And we have a recording of it. Over, in, and out. Yes. With good reason.

On FM 94.9. I knew it. I knew it. There's no way. Yeah. Phillip wasn't Phillip. I'm not going to say who Phillip was. There's no way. Jay, why do you start rumors? What do you mean, Maki?
How do you know, Jay? You don't know. I don't know. Somebody sent it to me and said, hey, this is what they think. Oh, God. Holy cow. He said, she said. Don't believe anything. You hear it from the person who knows. You know what I think is awesome, though, is that that dude listens to us. Yeah. And you're welcome, bro. Feast. That's from me. You guys are naive. I don't say feast. I do say feast. I say, you're welcome. I say feast. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Well, our district attorney, Bonnie Dumanis, announced yesterday that she's filed a lawsuit at the San Diego Superior Court to nullify our former governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger's, decision to cut nine years off the prison sentence of that young guy, Esteban Nunes, 22 years old, who pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison. Well, Arnold Schwarzenegger cut off nine of those years because he was friends with the kid's dad.
Yeah, political colleagues. So Bonnie Dumanis is challenging that. Good for her. Yes. Also, this is crazy. A Northern California man drove 51 miles with his wife, clinging to the hood of his minivan. How? Not funny words. How? 100 miles an hour. How? Wow! I know. On the freeway, trying to throw her off. Wait, he didn't know? No, he knew. Oh, he knew? Okay, that's not funny. This guy has a criminal... Oh, I thought it was like a mistake, and he didn't know. She's like, babe, babe. Okay, this is a monstrous story. Yeah, he's a monster. He's a monster. He has had a criminal past before, so this is like nothing crazy for him. But he and his wife got into an altercation. He was trying to leave the house. She stood in front of the minivan. He hit her. She grabbed on. One hand was holding on to the windshield wiper. One hand was holding on to the rear view mirror. And he was hauling 51 miles. Side view mirror. Yeah, side view mirror, rear view mirror. And she was holding on for dear life. He was trying to swerve to get her off. Oh my gosh. This is the worst part in my mind. He cranked up the music to not hear her screaming. She's alive. Thank goodness. She's survived. She's just got as big a sausage. That's crazy. Hung on. Yeah.
This actually happened in February, but it's just now becoming public because they're in court now, and it's just... How did that not hit the news immediately? I know. Can you imagine that guy driving by you on the freeway, and you're like, nobody called 911? That's probably what eventually happened. He was swerving to try to throw her off. I mean, just a total... She is strong, dude. He's a tool. 51 miles an hour. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? This was an absolutely crazy story. Back in 2009, there was a Kansas City Chiefs fan came to Qualcomm and flew the bird at some Chargers fans. I didn't mean to do it at you. I was just kind of illustrating. I wasn't giving you the bird. I understood. No, you're still doing it. No, I get it. Megan's not. Okay. So this Chiefs fan comes to Qualcomm, and I probably had a few pops, and he's giving people the bird. Right. He was arrested. You know what he was charged with? What? Battery. Oh, my God. Charges of battery. Seven counts of battery. And he was detained by private security guards. Well, finally, it's gone to court. The judge has thrown it out and said, that is absolutely ridiculous. So what they tried to do is they tried to throw the San Diego municipal code section, whatever, prohibits fans from acting in noisy, rowdy, or boisterous manner as to disturb spectators or participants. Now, they wanted to call that battery. The judge has said.
That isn't battery. That's ridiculous. And then a few months ago, there was an investigation on the Fiesta Bowl, which is a BCS bowl. Dude, the head of the Fiesta Bowl was taking dough, going to strip clubs. They embezzled money. They used it for extravagant personal expenses. They got in a lot of trouble. A lot of people have resigned over it, but they are going to stay. The Fiesta Bowl will be still a BCS bowl. They have to pay a $1 million fine, and it will benefit Arizona youth. Wow. Yeah. Wow. Dude, they were afraid that they were just going to be like a totally not, a bowl that didn't factor into anything. They're still a BCS bowl. Just got to pay a big fine. Wow, man. Crazy. Oh, it feels good though. It feels so much better. Doesn't that just change everything? Doesn't that just bring you into a better state of mind? Relaxing? It's like a deep blue sea. Deep blue sea. Mm-hmm. Velvety. On a blue, blue day. Sitting there with a big white can top hat. Yeah. Playing at the piano. I wonder who Baby was. We don't know. I don't know. His name was Jim. This was a woman in Frisco, Texas that was crying because she'd just gotten to eat In-N-Out Burger again because they opened a shop there.
I just have a five-minute drive. It's just so overwhelming. I kept saying all night, pinch me. It doesn't feel real. It felt real in there. I'm crying again. You're passionate about In-N-Out. I love In-N-Out. That's good. Oh, my God. It's nostalgia. It took me back. To Fontana and to San Bernardino and to living in California. I understand. I can't get over it. I can't. God, I want to keep that. I understand Philip just called her and said she's being a baby, so... It's a whiny little bee. That's right. I smell a bit. You think she was faking it? Yeah, where was this video? In Frisco, Texas. It was a TV station that was interviewing her because they were opening. Yeah. Have you been to Frisco, Texas? Yeah, I lived there. I'd be crying as well. She's not from... Dude, Frisco's badass. Yeah, that's where I lived. It's a badass. It's where I lived. It was the community I lived in in Dallas. Yeah, it's killer. It was all brand new. It's killer. No, there's nothing badass about that part of town. Frisco? He doesn't know what we're talking about. I do know you don't. No, you don't. The only part of Texas that's worth going back to is awesome. North, south, east, or west Dallas? It's...
I want to say it's West Dallas. No, it's not. It's the farthest north you can get. You have no idea where we're talking. My sister lives there. In Frisco? Yes. No. Yes. Should have bought my house. Yeah. So that's not really jumping off the market. So it must be a great place to live. Well, nothing is. Nothing is, pal. You know that. Houses in my neighborhood are still selling. You can get a 50 billion square foot house in Texas. Yeah. For about $45. Yeah. Seriously, you can get a seven-bedroom home for $350,000. And when I say seven bedrooms, with a pool and an acre backyard. Walk-in closets. Dude, walk-in apartments. Granite. Granite. But you got to live there. In Texas. Well, Jay lives at 701. I am the best. Perfect. On perfect street. 701 perfect street. I would move back to Austin. I am the best lane. But I wouldn't move anywhere else in Texas. Happy birthday. So. We did something called, guess what I'm going to do to you later. We decided that we were going to text our spouses. And we were just going to text the phrase, guess what I'm going to do to you later. To see how they would respond. Now the reason is because it's a little out of the ordinary. A little? It's a little out of the ordinary. And so...
How will they respond? So who's going first? You want me to read mine? You go first. I'll read mine. I said, guess what I'm going to do to you later? And she wrote back and said, what, hon? Question mark. And I wrote back, guess. And she wrote back, I have no idea, babe. While you're listening, send it to your... significant other right now. And if you get a good response, call us. 5701949. Please text your sig other right now and say, guess what I'm going to do to you later. All right, so should we all go then analyze or should we analyze one at a time? Analyze me. Okay. Analyze that. Analyze that. Mine's in a similar vein. I sent the same thing. Guess what I'm going to do to you later. I get back. What? Am I in trouble? Oh, wow.
So here I'm like... What? Am I in trouble? I analyze myself. She's like, because the last thing that you're possibly asking me is what are you going to do to me sexually? Sexually, physically. What? Am I in trouble? And immediately I was like, what am I, taskmaster? Am I like... Am I too rough on her? Do I bitch at her too much? You're like, no, I meant... Intimately. I just left it. I just go, never mind. Well, I think with Rebecca, Mike is just so predictable. I know. You're an open book to her. Absolutely. And so there was nothing that, like, you wouldn't surprise her. Apparently, I'm a giant D to my wife. Am I in trouble? And I never, ever, ever text Rebecca with, guess what I'm going to do to you later. No. You know why? Maybe we should. You know why you don't? Because you're married. Stop it. Dude, listen. That's exactly why we should. Okay, fine, fine. But a dynamic has been established. Yes. You should change it. It has been established. When I was dating Jamie, you should have seen the filth.
The filthy text message. That's the way you should be now. That means you gave up. You're taking it for granted. No, you don't give up. You don't take it for granted. It means you gave up. No, it doesn't. It just means that you grew up and you're not like. You grew up. It means you gave up. You grew up. Really, now you're mature. You asked me off the air if you could light your farts on fire on the air. True story. True story. And so. The dynamic changes when you get married. No, it doesn't. It doesn't have to. No, it doesn't. Yes, it doesn't. It shouldn't. It shouldn't. It does a little. Yes. Like I said this the other day, you know. You have three kids though. I know. And she's busy and you know, but we should make time for it. Because we said the other day, we're like, we were talking about it. We're like, man, as a spouse. And just ask yourself this dudes, as you're listening, you make out with your wife. It's the last time you made out with your wife. Full make out. Make out. I'm talking making out. Okay. On the couch, facing, kind of facing each other. arm behind her head and just make it out. Making out. Maybe throw a hand up the shirt. Oh, my God. Making out. Making out. Full on MO sesh, dude. You don't just make out, though, once you're married because you know you can get farther.
You make out when you're young because you can't get farther. No, that's not true. It is true. Hang on. When we were in our 20s and you were dating somebody, you made out with them? Because you didn't know how far you could get. So that's the initiating point. And they may stop you after making out because that's acceptable. So you're saying that once the barrier is broken, you never go back to make out? No, no. You can go back. while you're doing the farther stuff, but you're never just making out anymore. Part of it is warming up the engine. Yeah, yeah. That is not my case. Well, first of all, you guys know the way I roll. Now, if I had to do it over again, it would be that I would wait to have sex until I got married. Now, in the old days, before I had my conversion, I had sex before marriage. But... Making out was fun. Oh, hell yeah. You know, making out was fun. And so making out stopped. I think making out stopped once the kids started coming along. What's your anniversary? May. Excuse me. Sorry, babe. February 10th. That's when it stopped. No. That's not true. I'm not even married and I don't make out.
Making out is for your early 20s or something. High school. You might do a second of it and then it's like... Well, there's a difference between what you guys are talking about and... I'm really uncomfortable right now. Every married couple kisses every day. But Rebecca and I kiss with the... hardest pursed lips every day we see each other and we kiss like this it's so like it's not soft and it's not as soft make it soft ours are soft mine are soft Soft kisses are nice. You get a boob grab every day? No. Because I'll get 10 to 12 of those a day. I'll get a little on the bottom. You do? Oh, for sure. Every day. You heard I'm a butt grabber, I'm a boob grabber. That's just Woods doing that to me. That's true. Motorboats, you know, all of it. Yeah, I'll do that. Asking Jay for a butt massage a couple times a week. Woods, I'll give it to you. True statement. That's actually a true story. That's a true story. From Woods to Jay. And he did give it to me. And I beg.
I beg them to not do that. That's what a friend does. If a friend is cramping up, you help that friend. We're teammates, man. That's what we are, you know? 570-1949. They are now calling in to tell us what they're getting back on the texts. M1 Vic from San Diego. What did you get back? I got mine said, not again. You texted just, guess what I'm going to do to you tonight? Yes, and she texted back, not again. But it's because we play out each other's fantasies once in a while, and last night was my turn. So I texted her this, and she just said, not again. That is just staring out. She's like, I'm bored of you already. Outstanding. What in God's name did you do to her? Send us the video. Because she had to text, not again. Yeah. She's like, it was her fantasy last night. It was her night.
No, it was his night. Oh, wow. It was his night. I thought it was her night. She's like, I still can't see. My ears are ringing. Do you know how long it took me to do those Leia buns? Those goats are still in our bedroom. She's like, easy Chewbacca. I gotta get the deposit back on the buffalo. Thank you, Vic. M1 Kelsey from Rancho Bernardo. Are you there? Who is it? Kelly? Is anyone there? Is there a human being alive? Anyone alive out there? M1, Kelsey from Rancho Bernardo. Hi. Hi. Hi. I just got what? And I'm thinking, because I've only been married for about eight months, I was like, oh, I'm not going to get the same thing as you guys. Nope. What? What? What? Just the same. Cut to the chase, babe. Let me ask you, Kelsey. Kelsey.
Would you be totally creeped out to text your husband back something sexy? No. You wouldn't? No. See, Rebecca and I have been married for six years. We've been married for six years. And when she said what? I thought, I think I'm going to be creeped out if I were to type something sexy back. Yeah, you don't want to be a sex pervert. I'm like, why? You got to listen to some Justin Timberlake. Bring sexy back. I know it. It's true. Got to bring sexy back. Yeah, but I don't know. You can be freaky with your husband. Absolutely. No, it's the truth. It's a private conversation. I mean, why not? Give that guy a thrill. Text him back right now and give the guy a thrill. Sex team. Make it right. Thank you. All right, goodbye. She's like, okay. I will. You got it, pal. You're on. Yeah. You're on. Thanks. I'm doing it. I'll raise you. Yeah. I'm going to put on some Rick James. He's super free. I texted you. I texted you. I texted you. M1 Summer from Scripps Ranch. What did your spouse reply with? I'm not sure. I can certainly think of a couple things. Atta boy. There you go. There you go. Atta boy.
The funny part, I immediately called you guys, so I didn't reply, and I just got a text back with a big question mark, and it says, hello? What did you mean to send that to? No, he's like, don't leave me hanging. What are you going to do? That's fantastic. What's going on here? That's great. It's incredible. Thank you. M1Debbie from Poway, what did yours say? I texted, and he texted back, go digging for gold, question mark. Go digging for gold. That's interesting. You said, guess what I'm going to do to you tonight? And he texts back, go digging for gold? Yeah, I'm going to pick your nose. I want to know where to go. I want the gold. Give me the gold. M1 Heather from Oceanside. What did he say? He texted back, kiss me, question mark. Aww. Oh, that's sweet. Sweet. And then followed up by another question that I can't repeat over the air. Then he showed a picture of his wiener. Oh, my gosh. Oh, wow. I mean, weir. Mike, do you realize that there are two female members on our show that did not give their answers to what their significant others wrote? Were they dirty, Sienna? Was it dirty, Sienna? Oh, yeah, I can't say. Oh, wow.
How about you, Lauren O'Brien? Mine's dirty. Oh, wow. Todd and BFMC, you creepers. Mine's dirty funny. Sienna's is filthy. Sienna's is to the point and straight filth. Straight filth. She's a married woman. Ron Jeremy wouldn't write that back to somebody else. Yeah, Ron Jeremy's like, easy, Ron Jeremy. Yeah, easy, easy, Ron Jeremy. Bye, gorgeous. Good job. Here's Preston. I love that response. I got, I don't know, but I'm lucky, whatever it is. I got.
Thank God I'm married to a stallion. I got, I hope it's the same thing you did to me nine times last night. I got, I hope the kids aren't listening again. I got, I got, I hope don't disappoint you. I got, I can't see too well. Is this my husband or a Greek guy? Hey, is this Zeus again? Adonis. Thor, and I'm bringing my hammer. Brad Pitt should take notes. I'm Thor, and I'm bringing my hammer. That was a nerd reference. That's what you call that. I texted, guess what I'm going to do to you later? And she texted back, I just hope I live up to your expectations. I got, is this a 23-year-old texting me?
That's what it feels like. I got, thank you, my prayers have been answered. Really? I get another two hours of pleasure? Pure, unadulterated pleasure? I got back, you're so athletic, period. Sorry. That's just what she said. Y'all ain't going to hurt my feelings if you look at my text. That's right. Y'all ain't going to hurt my feelings if you tell me how awesome I am. Hey, do you guys think there'll be any lovemaking going on in San Diego tonight? Yeah. Real good. Everyone should know that. Let's see. M1 Kelly from IB, you texted, guess what I'm going to do to you later, and what did you get back? You have my attention. Oh, that's a good one. This is great. Yeah. Now, these ladies better follow through, the ones that are... Yeah. You better follow through, ladies. Don't pull the headache bit. I texted back, it has to start with your imagination. Did you bring it to work with you today? Dang.
It's getting so sick. Wow. I don't want any of those ladies out there crying wolf. Yeah. Because they're excited. You guys made my day because now I'm going to have wonderful conversation all day. There you go. Yeah. You're bringing sexy back. Get after it. Get some. Thank you. I got a booner. Jay. Gosh. Darn it. Not needed. Well played, sir. Well played, sir. Just a little sprinkle right there. Sprinkles it in real good. That was actually Jay voicing that drop. For real. For real. Oh, boy. It's incredible. Let's see. Oh, it's incredible. M1 Aster from IB. Are you there? Wait. I have to hit the phone line. Hi, Aster. Yeah, she said, oh, yeah, baby. Oh, yeah, baby. That's what he said. That's nice. Is it? Did she say it with a British accent? Austin Powers. Oh, yeah, baby. How does that feel, baby? Thank you. Thank you very much. Good luck to you tonight. Have fun. Get some. Rebecca went on to say, I'm so confused. Get Rebecca on the phone. Okay. Please. I'm so confused. Incredible. Woo!
Make it right, Mike. Well, we just... Let me tell you something. Her and I, we need to just loosen up a little bit. Yes, you do. Hey, go home and grab her boot today. Grab a butt. Do it. Listen, we were pulling in the other day to Bruno's in San Marcos to have a little dinner for Mother's Day. Oh, great. And I was being a clown, you know? And she goes, you're acting weird. And I go... Fine. It stuck. It was like you were a balloon. You were puffing out your chest. And she goes. Well, you know what? I'm always serious. And I was being a clown. You know, like I was when we dated. You're goofing around. Yeah. She goes, you're acting weird. Be a clown more often. I'm like, I'm drinking again. Sorry. You definitely go through that. Yeah. And there's like Jamie will do that to me because I'm clownish at home a lot, obviously. She'll do that to me sometimes. She'll look at me with the I don't get it face and I'm like, fine. I guess I'll just be, you know. Hi, hon. Would you like to watch C-SPAN? How are you? Did you catch Larry King last night? Sorry. Even though he's off the air? Yeah. Did you catch Peyton Place last night on television? Did you watch One Tree Hill last night? My parents must have been a lot like Jay because I saw it all growing up.
Which probably explains the five kids. Oh, they would be like all sexy with each other? Yeah, they'd be like, hey, Mr. O'Brien. Hey, Mrs. O'Brien. That's it. They'd come home and say stuff like that. We'd be like, ew. I know. Oh, my parents were very buttoned up about it. And I'm very buttoned up about that kind of stuff. That would skeeve me. Now, I didn't go so far as to ever know when, you know, when the business was happening. We definitely saw the like the romance of Bruin. And my mom told the story about how she was like ironing one time. And my dad, she's like, you know, your father came behind me as being all frisky and stuff. And she burned a hole in her dress because she was too busy, like getting his hands off of her. And I was like. You're like, Mom, I don't want to know. She told me that story when I was like 10, and to this day, every time I iron, I think about that story. And I'm like, ugh. You tell Matt, do not touch me while I'm ironing. This probably explains why I don't iron. Fair enough. Throw it in the dryer. Oh, my gosh. You know, darling, it's so funny that I am hanging these clothes on a hanger. No. One time. No.
One time, I beat your father with a hanger because he asked me to. He liked it. He was into it, Lauren. And he made me call him. I made him call me Mommy Dearest. Yes. He said, will you beat me with a wire hanger? And when you do it, I want you to call me Mommy Dearest. Now, let me tell you. I did it. He's your father. I love him. I love him. We're married. We're married. That's what you do. That's what you do. It's no big deal. It's what you do. Oh, my gosh. Holy cow. Yeah. Lauren, don't ever, ever buy a gun. Because if your husband's anything like your father, he's going to think it's funny to unload the gun and make love. And that is not, and that is not anything fun. Now, don't get me wrong. He's my husband. You know, I try to make him happy. I try to make him happy. I love him. I love him. I love him. Yeah. Did you get Rebecca? Nope. She didn't answer. Damn it. She's humiliated. She's humiliated. Why is she? I'm the one. She's embarrassed for you. You're revealing. You're revealing a lot, maybe. Oh, am I revealing? We all are, yeah. I don't know. Maybe. Maybe she's changing a diaper. Maybe she's changing a diaper. Oh, wow.
Go home and give her a little tap. There you go. On the bottom. Oh, wow. A tap. Squeeze. Give her a squeeze. No, no. Pat, too far. Too far. Grab a boo. No, no, no. Go for it. No. Walk up behind her and go wah, wah. Motorboat. Yeah. Yeah. Try it. Do it. She would blow rape whistle and she would call 911. Smack you across the page. Smack you. We were talking about what guys will say to their wives when they're in the mood and what women will say to their men when they're in the mood. And Woods was saying, you know, what he doesn't like and stuff like that. And I said, is mine bad?
I wish I could take back the last two minutes. And I go, I go, I'll say, do you want to fool around? And Lauren, let's go. It's a little nauseating. I think at first I went. Wow. They said it was like so old man. It's very old. Well, that's kind of why it's funny. Yeah. What do you say, Jay? No, no, no. Please, you guys. We used to have a code word for it. What was it? Please don't ruin that word for me. I don't want to know his code word. Please, Mikey. Anytime I hear that word. Anytime I hear that word. It was Dubin. Yeah, that's not a real word. You're not going to hear that. You would say, hey, babe, Dubin. You want to have some Dubin? What? That's so weird. Poor Kim. Right now, Maddie's driving in her car and is like, Doobin, it's her! Yes. I thought there was a Jell-O thing she used to make. His kids are so repulsed by all the times they've heard the word Doobin right now. Hey, baby. Doobin. Baby! Doobin! Hey, Kim! Doobin!
Hey, Kim, if you're calling Togo's, order me a Dubin' sandwich. Extra large. Let's have some Dubin' pie. You can't change the size. Is it Friday? It's always going to be the same. It's not always the same. You're doing it wrong. Dubin'. Does it have a meaning, Jay? No, just the act of. The act of Dubin' it. We like to Dubin' it. I wonder if that's probably really something. I like Kim a lot. Oh, I do too. I just feel really bad for her right now. A lot. She listens. She doesn't listen to us. She better not. I think she closes her eyes and shakes her head a lot of the time. Yeah. She is a saint. You don't think she's living me all this time? She knows. She knows. She is awesome. You are lucky, Kim. I am, aren't I? Sure are. She is too, but I mean, Kim is awesome.
Oh, she's lucky. Oh, hey, Hillary. You don't even know how lucky she is. Hey, listen. Don't doubt for a second how lucky that woman is. Right? I know. For Mother's Day, I bought her a t-shirt that said, luckiest woman on earth. That's right. Well, for Mother's Day, I wore a bow, and that's all I'm going to say. Mike, she came into the kitchen, and I had already sent the kids off. And all I was wearing... Was a necktie. That's right. Now it was a clip-on, but still, I was wearing a necktie. Not saying it was on my neck. Yeah. Oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Where's Mikey? Mikey's dead. That visual. Hey, pervert. I didn't need that visual. Hey, Kim. Good morning. Happy Mother's Day. Oh, boy. That's fantastic. Anyway. I'm the only person to ever get kicked out of Yellowstone Park. Oh, boy. The bears were complaining about the noise. And the ground shaking. That's right. And the size. They were scared. Holy smokes. What? I meant of my picnic basket. There's a eruption every 30 minutes. Oh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.
Holy crap. AJ. Old Faithful. AJ. Yellowstone Park. AJ. Part of me is wishing I didn't come in here. You got the old part. Me too. Big part of me. Me too. Me too. Does it make you uncomfortable, Hill? A little bit. A little bit. That was good. I got to give it to him. Thank you. Strong to quite strong. Old Faithful. Get me out. Get me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. Well, if anybody is familiar with the OSI promo, you know, we play the deep voice guy. This guy here. He does this. He's got a very deep voice. And, you know, we did the Operation Street Impact. We wanted to have that sort of dynamic sound. We wanted it to sound sort of like a movie trailer. What a lot of people don't realize is we tried out other people. before we settled on that guy. Here's an example of one of the people. All right. Come on up. What's your name, please? Bryce Torres. All right, Bryce. You're going to be reading the OSI promo for The Mikey Show on FM 94.9.
I just want you to know that this is a promo for a big event called Operation Street Impact. Yes. All right. So we need you to be, you know, what we're looking for here is a very serious, almost ominous and motion picture type sound. Got it. All right. From the top. San Diego Radio has never mobilized this type of takeover. Cut. Was it too much? Here's what I want. Scale it down a little. Let me give you the direction, okay? Okay. What we're looking for is ominous. Okay. All right? And you sound more happy. Okay. San Diego Radio has never mobilized this type of takeover. Bryce, it's... Okay, let me try to explain this again. That was better, okay? But the deal is that you are sounding still... I need you to deepen your voice. Okay, I got it.
San Diego Radio has never mobilized this type of takeover. The prizes are huge. O-S-I. Stop. Cut. You're putting too much of an emphasis on the S's. Okay, let me try it again. O-S-I. Okay, on the S there. I'll try it again. O-S-I. Okay, on the S, I'm hearing too much sss. I think you're not Scorsese. I think if you just let me get through it, I think we'd be fine. I'd rather not argue with you, Bryce, so... O-S-I. First of all, I wasn't rolling. Second of all, you're doing the same exact thing you did the last time I told you. The S is too pronounced, okay? I'm not looking for S. I'm done. I'm done. All right, thank you, Bryce.
Oh, I like Bryce. So you see, we had to do a few different auditions before we found the right person. But it just takes time, you know? Kind of reminded me of Randall the Honey Badger guy. Have you guys seen the Honey Badger videos? What is it? Oh, you will love it. I got to check it out. Yes, Randall, he takes National Geographic Animal. documentary style, you know, like takes pieces out of National Geographic specials about different animals and then he adds his own narration. Oh, wow. Where do I get it? YouTube has his own channel. Randall. Yeah, just Google Honey Badger Randall. You cannot play it on the air. Lots of, you could edit it. Definitely, it can be edited with some serious beeps, but he is so awesome. I love him. I'm a huge fan. Honey Badger Randall. Honey Badger. And then he does all kinds of different animals. He's got a following now. He's going to be big. Yes. Hillary, what do you have coming up?
I grabbed the Strokes and the Rack on Tours, Faith No More, new TV on the radio. I grabbed the new Two Door Cinema Club record and some other stuff, too. There you go. Lovely and talented Hillary is up next, and we'll come back tomorrow at 6. And do this again. The Mikey Show is out. Late. Lincoln Financial Media Station. Mikey in the morning. About the music all day and night. It's about the music.
