LOB wears her glasses and hair in a bun and turns into the hot librarian before she drops a clock. The Del Mar Fair’s new and improved food gets The Kid salivating. Fashion Valley Mall is getting a face lift, Sienna reports. Dungeons and Dragons back in the day caused Mikey to lose a pal. The owl box baby owls took flight and Lauren was on T.V. with her sister in a heartwarming story. Catch the video on Lauren’s blog if you haven’t seen it. Mikey has a stadium fetish. Woods and Mikey go at it regarding the Yankees. Punk kids who try to prank a McDonald’s drive-thru 911 audio is next. Mikey gives good advice on how to make a marriage work. A hillbilly was checking out LOB’s awesome butt and almost crashed his car because of it! Woods busts out the Hello Dollies to the cast’s sugar lovin’ pleasure. Billy Bob Thornton gets interviewed by Mikey. Sienna sings and gets the Metallica selection thanks to her brother Taylor. What’s the best store-bought spaghetti sauce? The Mikey Show Amazing race sees Sienna teamed up with Susanna. An email about breaking up with long term ex and having the same friends is a big dilemma. The Chargers lay all their cards on the table concerning the stadium issue and say ‘your move, San Diego’. The biggest call of the day is also the most controversial as to its authenticity featuring ‘M1 Jason’ who fights fires “a little bit” and has the hots for his girlfriend’s roommate. Things really blow up when his girlfriend “M1 Jasmine’ calls in! Fake or not, it sure is an interesting scenario that keeps the cast talking. Jay once slayed a roommate. Mikey tells how he was set up with a chubby by a girl he was interested in. Not everyone is down with Megan Fox. Hoyle knows Megan Fox and tells the gang they need more street cred; then takes a hilarious call from the man Garrett! In what has proven to be an epic Mikey Show moment Hoyle raps along with Dre and Tupac! The haikus that follow are just as funny. Fish eggs from a vending machine, anyone? Sienna’s recap leads to some geriatric lovin’ and Grey’s Anatomy footage. A Hooter’s girl was laid off for being too chubby, and a M1 calls in with a preggo Hooters girl sighting.

KBZT San Diego, a Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of The Mikey Show, FM 94.9. Thursday morning, real fresh May 20th, and you, the M1 Nation, 570-1949. You're good, you. You guys call. Come on, let's talk to you. And if you're shy, you can try us on text. 949mikey at gmail.com. A few different ways that you can get a hold of us. Where's the gold? Yeah, man, that's what we're going to give you today. We're giving you straight gold. I want to know where the gold is. I want the gold. It's coming. Give me the gold. That's what you're getting. You got it. How about that? I wish that was my ringtone. I know it. It would be great. You would get sick of it. No, I wouldn't. No? I would listen to that every minute of every day. I don't think you would. I love it so much. You know, today is May 20th.
And that's Love the Mikey Show Awareness Day. Did you guys know that? Really? Love the Mikey Show Awareness Day. So you might want to get on that. There are five people on the Mikey Show. Myself, the host of the program. Mike. And we got Woodsy. He's wearing a blue shirt. That looks comfy. That looks very soft. That looks like a comfortable cotton t-shirt. It is. And we have a... Gorgeous librarian sitting right here to her, right? Total librarian. Right? We've got Lauren. You wear glasses for one day. Yeah. No, but it's the bun, too. Yeah. It's like a little updo. She could be... What would we cast her as if we were casting agents? What roles? Librarian from Ghostbusters? Teacher. Teacher, librarian. I would also... Dirty nurse? Dirty nurse. Yeah, dirty nurse for sure. I could see casting her as high-powered counsel. 100%. Right? High-powered counsel. Secretary? Misunderstood female CEO. Yeah. Yeah, misunderstood female CEO. What about, like, a poet? Yeah, poet. Yeah, definitely. Artisan. Yes. Yes. Clam digger. That's right. Hay baler. Hay baler. Yeah. Candlestick maker. Butcher. Butcher. Butcher. Oh, wow.
Sienna is our news girl, 25 years of age, sitting to my left. What are you sniggling about over there? I don't know. She's ready to go, man. I am. Everybody's in a better mood today. Everybody's goofy today. Yeah. I like that. Can we acknowledge? Let's do it. Why not? Yesterday was a turd. It was a turd. Oh, my God. Here we go. We spoke too soon. No, this is perfect. Holy cow, what just happened? It hit her coffee. The coffee shook. It looked like it fell from the sky. Where did you have it? Just one thing. She had it on the rounded speaker. The rounded bottom doesn't stay on the rounded speaker. That's weird. What is wrong with her? I don't know. Hold on. L.O.B. is something else. Man, oh man. Yesterday, Jay, our producer, 46 years old, separated by glass. He's in another room, but we can see him through the window. Yesterday, our producer Jay said to Lauren, I want you to get a clock. Go get yourself a battery-powered clock. And so she went to... I think Jay got it for her. He did. Oh, Jay got it? He got it, yeah. He hooks it up. Yes, he did. And he put it in the right spot, and I decided, hey, that's not visible enough. I'm going to put it on this round speaker. It fell on top of her coffee, but somehow the coffee didn't spill miraculously. And the clock is okay. Yeah.
My phone got a little splash, which isn't supposed to be here in the first place. That's true. Maybe we find an engineer, we can get some duct tape, and we'll just duct tape that little clock up on top of the speaker. Well, maybe the engineer would say, hey, get your coffee out of there, you clown. You probably would. That's exactly what he would say. I'm out of breath. He just ran 20 feet. He ran into the printer, which is, yeah, a couple feet away. You all right, Woodsy? He ran and got me some paper towels. That's nice. Andy Clown's ready to come through. He's like, hey, how you doing? He's like, this room's on the air, too. Who, me? Yeah, you. Did I? Yeah, I heard you. Trying to take care of business. All right, maybe we're not starting off again. 5701949. Now, yesterday was turd. It was a turd. It was. I laid on the couch all day. I was so depressed. I said to everybody. After the show, I said, listen, it's kind of like baseball season. You're not going to win every game. As long as you're winning and you're in first place, that's all that matters. And you just keep winning. You know, but yesterday. I felt like I was in last place yesterday. Oh, yeah. Woodsy put it perfectly yesterday. He said that there was a lot of quicksand moments where we felt like we were sinking in quicksand. But I said, that's okay if most days you're doing great. Since we've started, I mean, that's literally the first day that I've been like, I've walked out of here and been like,
Wow. I was, I mean, not bragging on myself, but I was like, I was terrible yesterday. I was driving home. Like, I almost had a tear in my eye. Yeah. I was like kicking myself in the shins. Idiot. And you care. Idiot. Good. Good to care. Idiot. Yes. That was me all day. Idiot. I love that. 570-1949. Give us a call. 949mikey at gmail.com. So this is a fun story for me. I love the food at the fair. Yeah, you do. Love it. Love it. He goes special trips to the fair just to grab some, what, corn? Yeah, I pay $20 for admission. Parking. Parking. I walk in, and right there at the entrance is the Corn Brothers, their booth. And I grab myself a grilled corn. I eat it in place. And throw it in the garbage can and then walk right out of the place. That's it. And I go home. Every year. I guess if your name's the Corn Brothers, you don't have a whole lot of options, do you, of what you're going to do for a living? That's right. Corn Brothers are great. It sounds great. I want it. They're the best. Grilled corn. And then next to it, they have little pads of butter. You look in the garbage can, you see a bunch of little thrown away pads of butter.
with little black strings of corn that have been grilled stuck to the little pads. And you know that it's good times. What else do you put on it? Salt and pepper? No, they have this little shake stuff that you shake on there, and it's red. It's got, like, chili in it. Weird. Weird. But I would put that on there. And it's also got a very slight flavor of lime. It's delicious. That sounds good. Oh, my gosh. Maestro loves him some lime, dude. Oh, yeah. Who does? Maestro over there. I do. I love lime. Love it. Tastes so good. So, what is changing? There's some new things coming to the menu. What do we got? Are you ready for this? They're not taking anything off. They're adding some stuff. Well, for sure, if you go to the fair, you'll see Woods walking around with funnel cake on a stick. 100%. Camel's milk chocolate. Mm-hmm. A four-pound belly buster burger. Four pounds. Maybe, and this is the big one. You've heard of the Chicken Charlie's, right? Chicken Charlie's is like the shack at the fair that deep fries everything. They have the deep-fried Twinkies, avocados. They have deep-fried frog legs, s'mores, zucchini, crispy cream sandwiches, deep-fried chicken sandwiches. Yeah. Wow. Well, there's a couple new ones being added to the menu. What? Klondike bars. Oh.
Like the ice cream bars. How do you deep fry that without melting it? I don't know, but they say it's like hot on the outside, cold on the inside, and I'm in on it 100%. Oh, man. Also, they are adding double stuffed Oreos deep fried. Amazing. I've had them. Really? They did them at the State Fair. Woods, I haven't gotten to the one that you're going to be excited about. I constitutionally feel strange and wrong eating that. I've never done it. Because I just feel like, gosh darn it, aren't I admitting too much about myself if I take a bite of this? I mean, haven't I effectively gone, all right, it's over. You have to be like the world's fittest person to get in that line. I mean, for sure. I just, oh. I've never done it either, but this year I'm going to because those Oreos sound really good. I've had the fried ice cream. It's amazing. Oh, I bet it is. Now, Lauren, maybe you're interested in this. They have Fiber One bars. But they're also deep frying. That's repugnant. Fiber one bars. That's hilarious. Take some healthy and deep fried. I know, I know. How about apples and okra? And this one, this one I think is also going to be a big one this year. Deep fried Pop-Tarts. Oh my gosh. Woods loves Pop-Tarts. Holy cow. I love Pop-Tarts.
Sounds great. Wow. I didn't know Pop-Tarts still existed until I worked with Woods. Oh, they're so good. You don't even put them in the toaster. You just eat them, right? No, I cannot eat a cold. Eating a cold Pop-Tart to me is like eating a cold hot dog. It is? It just doesn't work. So you do put them in there. Oh, yeah. I got to have them nice and piping hot. I also hear something, and this could be a rumor, but I don't think it is. Fried hot dogs rolled in hash browns. Holy cow. I'm out. I'm in. I'll eat hash browns on anything. Write that down. I can make a hundred hush puppies in like two minutes. The fair's official theme is taste the fun. And in case you want to know, the fair's open from June 11th to July 5th. I went in there one time. I say once because I only did it once. Went in there one time and got a turkey leg. Delicious. Yeah, it was. I just, I don't want to do it again. You're doing it. I'm not, bro. The bear? Yeah, it's got cables in it. You know, it's got little miniature cables inside the leg. Yeah, and I'm just like, this is too hard. I felt like a caveman. I got that a couple years ago, and I was just walking around like, argh! Yeah. It wasn't, you know, wasn't easy for me to, it wasn't easy food to eat. A lot of that stuff's not. You know, you get the stuff with too much barbecue sauce on it, you're like, what am I going to do with this? I don't have a bib. I didn't bring a bib.
Did you not? Wet naps. Are you sure? I did bring a bib. Did bring a bib. Well, I got to tell you, I've been dreaming about June 4th, which is the media day out there. I've been dreaming about it since our first day on the air. I found out about it. You get to go out there and enjoy. And then come back on the air and tell everybody how it all was. It's going to be great. I'm so excited for that. Barefoot is great. The best thing to me there is their cinnamon buns. Oh, yes. The frosting, and you can get the strawberry sauce if you want. I like the orange Julius. Oh, the orange Julius there? Yeah. Yes. Isn't that... It's milky orange juice. It's delicious. It's blended. Is it orange juice with an egg in it? Is it? It's not. Tell me the truth. Tell me the truth. They're all no. Is it orange juice with an egg in it? I don't think there's an egg in it. Egg yolk in it. Tell me the truth. There could be not. Not yolk. That means yes. No, there's not. I'll find the recipe on a break. Yeah, we'll find out. It's delicious. You eat eggs on burgers. Yeah, you eat eggs on enchiladas, burgers. I sure do. Chimichangas. Be sure it's raw. So stop. So stop. Be sure they mix raw yolk in that thing. I don't think so, but. They may. Either way, it's going to be fun to be out there at the fair and getting some brand new food. They got some good rides out there? Mm-hmm.
Oh, yeah. The zipper. Yeah, you know what's... They got a real fun ride. They stick you in this... They stick you and someone else into a big metal ball, and they strap you into it, and it's connected to these big, giant rubber band-type things, and they... I've done one of those. That's six flags. Why? Scary. Yeah? Yeah. It's exhilarating. Is it? I do, too. Let me mean you go together. I'm 100% in on that. You guys should do it. We should do it for the show. I'll have a video. And we'll tape ourselves. Well, I curse a lot in those things. We'll mute it. Yeah, yeah, we'll mute it. We'll cut that part out. We'll bleep it. We'll add music. Fashion Valley. Fashion Valley Mall, which is one of the nicer malls. Very nice. In San Diego. Apparently getting a makeover. Why? Because they're going to step it up even more. They said they want people to have a reason to keep coming back. Interesting because it already seems pretty nice. Yeah. But I guess they're going to fancy it up even more. Yep. What are they going to do? Go to the movies there. The owner plans on spending $15 million renovating it. The renovation is scheduled to begin July 1st, and they're estimating it's going to take about 14 months. What they're doing, here are some of the plans. Fountains. They're going to add some fountains outside the plazas. The floors on both levels will be replaced with stone and paver tiles. There's going to be columns throughout the mall that will be tiled with stone.
The makeover is strictly cosmetic. They're not really changing the stores itself, but there's going to be a new color scheme. They're improving the lighting, updated landscaping, more lounge areas with comfortable seating like outdoor sofas. Wow. There's going to be a new roof with skylights as well as new seating by the food court. Really? Mm-hmm. Sounds nice, right? Yeah, it does. Saks is, I think Saks is, yeah, it's closing. It's going to be replaced with a new Disney store that's scheduled to open this fall. Disney is amazing. Yeah. The Disney store is going to be on the upstairs portion, the second floor. And yeah, that's just what they have so far. I think it sounds rad. I'm with you, Woods. I'm not a Disney guy. I'm 35 years old. They don't have that many kids' stores at that mall, though. They need to step it up. There's Build-A-Bear. A lot of grown-ups into that Disney stuff, too. Tell me about it. You know what I mean? That's fine. I mean, if you're into it, maybe you grew up that way. I didn't. I didn't watch a lot of Disney growing up. And when I did... I didn't understand the appeal. I didn't speak Disney. I did. You did? Mm-hmm. You sort of got into that whole dream-like little fun fairy tale thing. Yeah, a dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep. She also did a lot of mushrooms. That's true, too. Maybe that had a little bit to do with some of that. It was only when I watched Fantasia. Just Fantasia? Mm-hmm. No, when I was a child, I was sort of insulted by the idea of my parents wanting me to...
It actually wasn't my parents. It would be other adults. Neighbors. Neighbors. Or, you know, whoever would want me to watch that stuff. You were insulted? Yeah, I was insulted by the idea that they thought, oh, because I'm a child, I have to fall into this role of Disney. So serious as a kid. Serious child. Oh, my goodness. And so when given the option, which would you like to see? The movie The Rescuers or Orca? I chose Orca. Absolutely. Yeah, I chose Orca. I'm with you. I feel sorry for you guys. I don't know what either of those are. Yeah, I didn't see the little kid stuff growing up. What about American Tale? It's an adult film that I used to watch in seventh grade. My mom would sing me that song from it every night. I was much older by the time that came out. I was in high school by the time that came out. And? Playing Dungeons and Dragons real good. Played Dungeons and Dragons when I was seventh grade.
Really? Yeah, didn't like it at all. I did it one time. I was like, wow, never mind. Yeah, it wasn't the dork factor to me. I didn't get it. I didn't understand it. How could you possibly? Yeah. My friend got it, and he got it because it helped him. Like, he won all the stuff. He's like, well, you just died. I'm like, great. I don't even know what just happened. You drew a card, and then he's like, oh, Mike, that's the seventh ring. Yeah, you're done. You're out. It's over. You're like, okay. Like, great. Then we got through the football. Yeah. Yeah. Want to go in the living room and watch Jaws? Yeah. Again. I have a friend that came out to visit that played Dungeons and Dragons. His name is Mark Cozzi. And to this day, I can't find him and he didn't want anything to do with me. He came out to visit this one time and I was such a mean jerk to him. He never, I never spoke to him again. How old? 12. So he came from like Yuma?
Yeah. Gilroy or whatever, and then came out here. Yeah, and he brought his D&D stuff with him. And for the first two days of his trip here, we played that, and I, you know, I got killed everything we did. Didn't want to play it. Poor Mike. And the last four days of his trip, I was like, really? We're not doing this anymore. No, we're not doing this anymore, and I've decided I'm not a nice guy anymore either. Never saw him again. You're a dork. Wish I could lick him up. I hope he's listening. Yeah, hopefully you're listening somewhere online, bro. I'm sorry. Tell him that you're sorry. Yeah. What about the owls that are being released in San Diego? What is that all about? No, they're not being released. They are learning to fly. They are? This is so cool. It's on the cover. It's on the cover of the Union Tribune. Yeah, here you can see it right here. I see. Making such a big to-do about it. Owls. Let me see. You know what I call those? What? Yorkie killers. Really? Yeah. No, stop. Okay, let me explain. We talked about this a few months ago. I think it was back in February when these baby owls were born. And they have a website. This retired real estate agent and his wife set up an owl box on a 15-foot tall pole in their backyard. And now there's an internet show watching these owls in the owl box. Rad. It's so cool. Rad. It's ustream.com backslash the owl box. That's rad.
millions of people across the world watching this and yesterday was a big day because the baby owls flew for the first time and people were watching and the the parent owls the mom owl was like screeching like cheering on the owl it was so cute and people that are addicted to the show call themselves owl alcoholics And it said that the owl got up on the roof and she just took a running leap like a kid into a pool and just was gone and started flying for the first time. It's so cool to see. Great. They live in the same town as the kid. Yeah. The kid's got four little snacks running around his backyard for them. No, they live in San Marcos. That's where I live. Well, here's the deal with it. Here's the deal. They do keep away bad stuff, too. Without them, you'd be kind of screwed. They keep rats away, and they keep a lot of stuff away. I met a baby owl on Tuesday. Yeah? Singles bar? Yeah. How you doing? Can I get your number? You'd be surprised, the noise that that thing made. It went like this. Yeah. Where'd you leave it? It scared the crap out of you.
At the Helen Woodward Animal Center. Oh, that's right. I was there for the dog therapy thing with my sister, and they said, come back and see this, and it had a cloak over it because they're nocturnal. Yeah. She said, now, when we lift it up, it's going to make a funny noise. It's a defense mechanism thing. And it sure did. Oh, it raised its wings. Creepy. Speaking of which, Lauren was on television, channel... Channel 6. Channel 6 did a story on her and her sister. And your sister sort of went to the Helen Woodward school and got acclimated to dogs. She's deathly afraid of dogs. Oh, yeah. Was it successful? Very successful. Amazing. You think it'll work as she goes on moving forward? I really hope so. Yesterday we went to a dog park and I made her just observe. Just sit there and chill. I made her walk through, like, a bunch of dogs that were jumping all over each other. Right. And then we sat there and observed for, like, ten minutes and just watched them play. And some of them would, like, run by and stuff like that. And it used to be she couldn't walk by one and be within five feet of it without, like, utter chaos, panic attack. So two months ago, that would have looked a lot different. Oh, yeah. Six weeks ago. Progress. That's so awesome. And she hasn't. Yeah, man. How about that? So cool. She hadn't pet a dog.
In probably 15 years. Really? And now she had a dog in her lap on Tuesday. That's crazy. That's awesome. Crazy. Because didn't she almost run across the one at one point? Oh, yeah. The 101. Last year she was out here. We went down to one of the beaches there. And we're like telling her, don't worry. You can't have dogs on the beach there. We'll go to a park. Well, I guess somebody broke the rules weird. And like, this dog came like running up the ramp, just galloping. And she, without regard for her life or mine or anything, just she was holding my hand, let go and started taking off like about to cross. I had to like grab her from behind and hold her back because it was like she didn't care. My goodness. She was more afraid of. 100-pound dog running up a hill than like a six-ton car speeding at 60 miles an hour. My goodness. Yeah. Wow. Well, that's really cool. So kudos to them. Yeah. Kudos to her and kudos to them. I watched that yesterday. It was good. I haven't seen it. That was on Facebook. It's on my blog. It is? And my Facebook. If you go to MikeyShow, if you go to MikeyShow.com and you click on the blog section, you can see Lauren's blog and all of our blogs. And she put the link.
To the news story where you can actually see it's pretty cool. I like how you call your sister Stace the Face. Stace the Face. Stace the Face. Okay, so a huge name. Gigantic worldwide story today is that a huge name has admitted to doping. And this person plans on taking someone else down with him. Plus... The Chargers submitted an $800 million proposed stadium to the city yesterday. We're going to tell you where it's located. Ooh la la. Woodsy's picking the music today. Afghan wigs going to town. We'll give you all that and more coming up in Woods on Sports. Listening to the Mikey Show on FM 94.9. Honey, wait, a few more things. Sugar, milk, double chocolate chip. In Woods on Sports. Well, finally, the Padres are off the schneid against the Dodgers. In a big divisional game last night, they whipped up on the men and blew 10-5. Adrian Gonzalez, Mike, had six RBIs out of ten. That's so great. Oh, my. Remember how excited I was last week when I had three? Yeah. Six. Hit a bomb. Chase Hedley hit another bomb, too. Padres' big offseason acquisition, John Garland, notched his fifth victory of the year. Oh, wow. That's awesome. It was a good night. And the Lake Show won again. Weird. They are now up two games to none on the Suns. We may be headed for a Lakers-Celtics finals. That's what Sienna was saying she thought would happen, and I think he might be right. Claiming it. He'd be pretty awesome. I think I'd even watch that. It is. I think I'd watch it. I'd watch it. Go Lakers is all the kid has to say about it. Yeah, Celtics. 100%. Yeah, Pal Gasol brought 29 to the table last night, played some great defense. Here's Kobe on Pal. Cut one.
It's been great. As soon as he came here, he fit in instantly. Since that point, it's just been about making it even better, trying to perfect what we do together. Go Lakers. Go Celtics. Yeah, it did. Celtics. Really? Yep. Really? Going East Coast? My dad was a big Larry Bird fan. Oh, really? So was mine. Well, maybe step it up. Maybe. Chargers actually released the proposal yesterday for an $800 million downtown stadium near Petco. Unreal. Have you guys seen the pictures? No. It looks so rad. Do you guys know that I have a thing for stadiums? Really? Yeah. He does. I have a bizarre fascination. What's your favorite? It's like a fetish. Yeah. Well, now my favorite is the new one in Texas, Texas Stadium. It's so cool. Which one were the Texans? Except for the Jerry World player. Yeah. What's the screen called, right? In the middle of the field that they kick all the time? The biggest high-definition TV in the world? Yeah, it stretches from the 20-yard line to the 20-yard line. Whenever they do a kick, they kick it. No, no, no. They fixed it. They fixed it? Yeah. But it goes from the 20-yard line to the 20-yard line, all high-definition. Amazing. $1 billion is what it cost to build that stadium. Sickening. Is it? My favorite's Fenway. Oh, my God. Yeah.
She's just trying to get in there. It is, though. Birds fly upside down over Fenway because it's not worth pooping on. Really? Really? So the pictures look amazing, but a spokesman for San Diego Mayor. Where can I see it, by the way? I'll show you. I'll show you, yeah. A spokesman for San Diego Mayor, Jerry Sanders, said they're happy to look over any proposal, but in the end, the voters will have the final say. Good, thank you. What do you guys think? 100%. You're in. Yes, 100%. I'm in. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Jay's going to say no. Of course. Jay, do you say no to a new stadium for the Chargers? I want a new stadium. I think it's going to do great things for the city. It really will, man. And wait, wait till you see these two parks. They're like blocks from each other. That's so cool. Because going down to Petco, like I get out of my car. I'm like, yeah, I'm downtown. Like I'm here. It's so cool. Let me tell you, the first night there's a Monday night football game with the Chargers here. And you're seeing a skyline. with two diamonds sparkling out of it. So cool. With that emerald shape rebuilding there, too, in the skyline at nighttime. Oh, it's going to be gorgeous. I can't wait, man. I cannot wait. Oh, I hope so. This walk comes a pit. Yeah, that's what Mikey keeps telling me. And what could potentially become a, well, it already is a huge worldwide story. Yeah. Isn't that amazing? Yeah, Sienna's showing me the picture. It's so rad. Amazing. It is. This is going to become a huge worldwide story if it isn't already. American cyclist Floyd Landis has admitted to doping during his career.
And his goal also is to bring down Lance Armstrong. Why? Well, I mean, it's pretty obvious why, dude. Because he's competitive and he's his rival? And because he's worldwide. He's loved worldwide. And everybody thinks he's perfect. And he's never done anything wrong. Well, so listen to what Floyd says. He says, Lance's longtime coach, Johan Brunel, right, introduced Floyd to steroid patches, blood doping, and HGH beginning in 2002. and that Lance Armstrong instructed him on how the drugs worked. So he's just, I mean, is it just poor character? And he's like, oh, if I'm going down, I'm going to take this guy down too because I'm jealous of his achievements. Maybe. Can I ask this? Does that make anybody see that move as anything other than cowardly and weenie-ish? No, I think it's super cowardly. I do too. Flip side of me, I'm like, I want to know. But maybe he's thinking, too, like, he introduced, Lance is the one that introduced me to the forbidden fruit, and I was, you know, none the wiser, and he's the one that showed me the way. I was none the wiser. You're always wiser. Really? So he put a, I would have loved to see the footage of the gun to your head. When he was shooting those steroids. But I'm just saying, I'm just trying to think of what might be in his head. It's jealousy, and I think it's, you know, men being, you know, he's got seven Tour de France's.
Lance does. And he's like, dude, the guy's a phony. I mean, he's kind of, he's blowing the whistle. He's blowing the whistle on the guy, apparently. And basically why he said, they asked him, why do you, why are you doing this? And he said, quote, I want to clear my conscience. I don't want to be part of the problem anymore. He's climbing for the limelight is what he wants. He wants to keep his name out there. I guess, man. But, I mean, just put yourself, you know Lance. I mean, you think about Lance. There's a heck of a book deal in it for him, I'm sure. You think about Lance Armstrong, my wife is a. I'm a huge Lance Armstrong fan. Oh, I'm a huge fan. And I mean huge. Would you be hurt if you found out it's true? Here's the deal. The guy is a dirtbag in real life, though. Lance? Yeah, he's a real dirtbag in real life. Seems to be. That's what I said this morning. That's what LLB said this morning. See, here's the thing for me. Regardless of whether or not Lance Armstrong is a dirtbag, which maybe he is, because maybe he is, my issue is just the fact in front of me of what. Floyd Landis is doing. Right. Keep your eyes on your own paper. Yeah. Well, he's going to have plenty of papers to keep his eyes on for sure. You want to admit, Lance, or Floyd, that you cheated? Which, by the way, Floyd, when it first came out, you were not cheating, according to you. Vehemently denying it. Okay, so now you're coming clean, which I think is admirable. You know, you're admitting it? I think that's admirable. But to start throwing other people under the bus because of your choices...
Let them throw themselves under the bus or let that play out however it's going to play out. But it just, to me, makes him seem, it just seems cowardly. Yeah. It just seems cowardly, you know? Let that come out and it's going to come out. It's pretty sensational, though. I'm going to believe a liar. Yeah, I don't want to believe a liar in the first place. That's an interesting point, too. Like, hey, you lied to me the first time. Why should I believe you about it? It's a great point. So this thing is going to have, this thing is, you're going to hear about this. for the next God knows how long, but it's going to be a big story. Finally, Forbes magazine has announced its most valuable sports franchise. Guess who? Duh. Right? Duh. Finally, the Yankees. Finally. It wasn't them. Manchester United had been in the lead for a couple of years. The Yankees' total team value is 1.6. And their brand is 21% of their total team value, which is $328 million. What is it? $1.6 billion. Oh, my goodness. $1.6 billion. Yeah. It's a good team, dude. A lot of tradition. A lot of history. They do it the right way. A lot of money spent at the grocery store for players. Well, you know what, dude? Once they start breaking rules, then we can all cry about it.
But until they stop paying luxury tax, we can't really cry about it. Maybe the other owners take money out of their pocket and buy some players for their teams. Before Woodsy ever moved here, we had a great conversation about this. I loved the conversation. I said, Woodsy, what would you think if they did what football does? And they said, you can only spend this much money. You're not allowed to spend what you spend on players anymore. I can see him thinking. I see thinking in his head right now, even now. He's like... So, what did you say about that? I mean, here's the deal, dude. The Yankees, there wouldn't be franchises like the Kansas City Royals, like a lot of these smaller franchises. The Yankees give them money. It's called revenue sharing. Those owners decide to take that money and put it in their pocket. They don't invest it back in their own team. You can never fault an owner like a Jerry Jones, a Mark Cuban.
For not breaking any rules but spending a ton of money on the team. Wouldn't everybody want that owner? Wouldn't you want, if you're on the Mikey Show, somebody to say, I'm going to invest a lot of money in you, dude. The Padres, it isn't equal, though, Woodsy, because the Padres don't get the same revenue for our television that the Yankees get. How is that the Yankees' freaking fault? It isn't. It's not. It isn't. It's not the Yankees fault. It's not their fault they're in New York either. Geography is a lot of things that go into consideration, but they don't break any rules. They spend a lot of money, sure. They're not doing anything wrong, and I don't fault them for being where they are, and they get to do what they do. They're taking the system that was given to them, and they're making the most of the system. Now, they don't win the World Series every year. They said, here's the deal. I think it'd be interesting. I think it'd be super interesting. Would it bother you? No, it probably wouldn't, man, because I love the game. Whatever is best for the game, I'm in on. I wonder why they don't do it. I don't think they could get the support. I don't think so either. But, dude, I'm a baseball fan first. You know that. That's why I'll watch the Nationals play anybody. I watch baseball all the time. And I just think once they start breaking rules and doing shady stuff, sure. Sienna, what's the deal with the kids that drove through McDonald's and they were kind of being clowns? Little troublemakers? Yeah.
Four teenagers in Utah, they were driving through McDonald's and ordering some food, but they ordered it in a little bit of an unusual way. Do you remember that McDonald's rap? There used to be like a commercial or McDonald's. There was like a rap song. Right. Well, they decided that's how they wanted to order, doing the rap into the little intercom. And the person trying to take their order couldn't understand what they were saying. They got so frustrated. They took off their headphones, walked outside, said, look, kids, you need to order or you need to leave. And the kids, I guess, there was swearing going on, and they kept singing the song. Where was it? What state? Did it say? It's at American Fork. Oh, it's in Utah. Yeah, Utah. A lovely American Fork. Then the kids sped off, and the person working at McDonald's said that they were swerving. Ridiculous. Yeah, it was a complaint. I wonder what that order would have sounded like. Welcome to McDonald's. Can I take your order, please? Yo, what's up, dog? Nothing. Can I get your order, please? Yeah, you can have my order. Ready, girl? One. You guys rappers, is that the deal? Yeah, we're rappers. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Ain't no senior planks. Plank? Plank, son. Yeah, you guys going to the prom? What are you doing? What's up? You going to the prom? No, we ain't going to the prom. We finna get something to eat. Yeah, get something to eat, son.
Yeah, 3 o'clock in the morning, you guys are just rapping. That's right, man. Yeah. All right, well, what can I get you guys? We just told you, dude. Yeah, I didn't really understand it, though, because you were singing a song from 45 years ago. Okay, maybe we try it again. Ready? One, two, three, two. Yeah, well, why don't you ask Brittany, Vanilla, what you guys would like. Get it right ready for you. Yeah, we finna come around, man. You better recognize. Yep, no problem, Cisco. Thank you. Son, idiots. Interesting kids just left my body. 570-570-1949 or you can text us 949mikey at gmail.com. M1 Dave from El Cajon, what's up? What's going on, guys? What's up? Not much. Two things with the Padres. Cox Cable owns the rights to their TVs. And that's why they don't have much revenue sharing. Anyone with satellite will never be able to see a Padre game. Yep, man. That's rough. And then they had the largest budget cut last year, $27 million. That was second lowest payroll in Major League Baseball. It's brutal. That's sad. Oh, dude. It's brutal. And they promised that if we built them a stadium, they would spend more money. Nope. Well, and now they got the new ownership, which, by the way, the new ownership, I guess, won't be.
complete for a couple of years or something like that. It doesn't make much sense to me how it works, but anyway. Yeah, I feel your pain, bro. I feel it, and I can't watch the games because I got DirecTV, so I can't watch the games. Thanks for the call, bro. We do have a beautiful stadium, though, I'll tell you that. Dude, it is one. I've been to a bunch, and it is one of the best. Have you gone in the batting cages? There's batting cages. No, I haven't. I've actually hit balls at home plate, though. Yeah, he did. And it was rad. That was great. It's a sushi restaurant. Sitting there and looking out over the thing, over the skyline. And Jamie and I went, and she's like, oh, my God, this is a beautiful ballpark. Incredible. It's unbelievable. You can spend, like, the entire day there and make a day of it. We did. Me and Lauren, me and LLB did during Fan Frenzy or whatever. It was awesome. M1 Chris from Oceanside. You there? Hey, what's up, Mikey? What's up, bro? Hey, you know, I wanted to start off saying I've known you from the dark ages, bro. You continue to impress me. I love the 911 bits. You guys are doing such an awesome job. Thank you. Really, really love the show. And would do the bromance is going strong. Weird. Thanks, dude. Brett Michaels did his first interview. Decided to do it with Okra Winfrey on the Okra show.
He was talking about all the things that happened to him when he had the brain aneurysm that almost killed him. It didn't kill him, but it almost did. He was on TV talking about the experience. My life didn't flash before my eyes. It wasn't like all of a sudden a rerun of my life. What happened was I got very sad. I went into completely just asking God. I'm like, you've got to let me live through this. And I could tell by the how. fast everyone was moving around, something was bad. And when a doctor, I could overhear him saying to Christy, if you have children, you should bring them to the hospital. Oh, wow. Can you imagine? You know what I wonder is if it can happen again, if it's cured, if it's gone, if it's done. I don't know anything about aneurysms, so I don't really know how they work, but scary deal that happened with them, with the brain aneurysm. This is him, this is Oprah asking him, did God speak to you? Here's what he said. You said you got really sad and started talking to God. Did he talk back? He may have. I wasn't.
At that point, I think I was doing a lot of asking at that point. I know I've done a lot of rotten things. I'm asking for a break here. If you could cut me a break just this time, I promise I'll be better in the future. And I tell you what, it happens so fast and you're thinking that this could be it. I got to tell you, I wasn't prepared for it. I really wasn't. Oh, that would trip me out, right? This is it? You know, I think you're, he said that his life didn't flash in front of him. I can't help but think that that's what I would be thinking about. All the things that have happened. Here he is talking about that very experience. You know, it's funny because it puts things in perspective real quickly. You instantly. put into your life what matters the most at that exact time. And people say this happens, but it truly happened to me. You immediately, it is your immediate family, your kids, your best friends. And at that point, you're not thinking about anything else. You're not thinking about career. You're not thinking about nothing. You're thinking, let me live through this. And I've always thought that I've been an active person. I've been a good person to people. But then you're thinking, I really, really just,
taking care of my family, my kids, and thanking God that I'm still alive to talk about it. I had a really cool experience yesterday that I didn't plan on talking about, but I'll tell you about, where I met a guy, didn't know him before yesterday, 24 years old, and he was looking for some wisdom and for some advice on some stuff. And one of the things that he wanted to know about was marriage. He's recently married. He's got a kid on the way. And he was asking about marriage and, you know, my thoughts on marriage. And one of the things that he was really wanting to pinpoint was the whole, like, so how do you keep it from going boring? How do you keep it from being boring? How do you keep a spark there? How do you keep being in love? I said, that's good, man. is important to do is remember and this is anybody listening right now that's married that's in a place where you go i don't know that i still feel the same way i don't i wish i did well one of the things that is really cool to do is think about when you were falling in love because a lot of people may be in a place in a relationship where you don't even think like that anymore you don't think about being in love
They're just your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your husband or your wife. You don't think about necessarily in love, but try to remember those emotions. You know how exciting it is when you're first falling in love with somebody and you got those butterflies in your stomach. And when your phone. goes off and there's a text message or whatever, how excited you get. It's the best. Isn't it the best? And you're texting them and you're practically shaking because of the text message. Is this lame? Does this sound lame? Is this cool? I think this is cool. And then maybe they send you a text and it makes you feel like a million dollars in cash when you get the text, right? And for those of you that are married, try to remember your wedding song. Try to remember what that evokes in you about your significant other, your wedding song. And I told him that and you could see the lights going off in his head. For my wife and I, it was that we both fell in love with God right at the same exact time. So we liked this song from Switchfoot. And all I did was think about that song. Even on my drive home, I'm thinking about my wife. I'm thinking about that song.
And it was like I was falling in love with my wife all over again just by hearing this song. Played our wedding song and Sienna got a nice text from her husband. He's a good guy. Todd is a good dude. Said he loved you. He better. That's nice. Sweet. Very sweet. What's he picking the music? Band of Horses. He's big on this band right now. Infinite Arms. Welcome back. There are health risks, they say, at your office. You may not know about them. Maybe you do. But you need to know. What is it? You're usually aware of them. I mean, there are things like carpal tunnel syndrome that you get and ways to prevent it. So, say... You know what I'm really surprised about? What? With the carpal tunnel thing. I swear I have it. You probably do. But what I'm surprised about... I do. I sleep in a...
A brace on my wrist. Really? Every night. I'm surprised that with laptops, that laptops still have hard corners on them. I really am surprised at that. I'm surprised that laptops don't do a nice, smooth slope down so that your hands can rest comfortably on them. I'm surprised they haven't done that yet. I'm surprised with all the laptopping you do that you don't have your wrists taped. Like, do you get taped up before? Before I go... When you get home and get naked? Yeah, before I get nude and get on my laptop, which is what I do. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's my own home. Yeah, that's fine. And before I do that, yeah, I have one of the... One of the trainers from the San Diego Chargers come over and tape my wrists up. Every day. Every day so that I'm ready to go when I get on the laptop. This guy does a lot of laptop. I do. Well, one of the things that, because I went to the doctor for it because I thought it was carpal tunnel. And it really, I think it's just, I have really loose joints in my wrist, but he gave me one of those stress balls. That work? Yeah, it helps a lot because you just have to get more muscle in your wrist. And they say, just stretch your wrist. And actually it says, a lot of people think that you should rest your...
your wrists on the cushy wrist pads when you're using a mouse. And they say not to do that. You should actually use... They should actually be used as a guide for how high your wrist should be. So this article says don't rest it. Yeah, I think you're supposed to stay... Because when you play piano, you're supposed to be parallel with the keys. That's what they want you to do with your keyboard? Not going to happen. I rest mine right on there. What else? Lower back pain. Have you ever gotten a lower back pain? Sitting... Well, we don't have it. a job where we have to sit for too long luckily but a lot of people do and so just be better aware of your posture posture is so important i've never understood people my wife is one of them that can sit on a couch or a chair or whatever and put a pillow behind them why it seems so uncomfortable you're so comfortable it's like you're jutting out yeah there's something like you i always take it it's providing support though yeah that feels weird it feels so i'm like There's something in my way. Get this out of here. See, I'm a little bit like sway back, you know? Yeah. So like my bottom will hit the chair and my back won't. So there's a big gap and there's no support right there. That's how I am. It must be the apple bottom jeans. It must be. The boots with the fur. Hey, how about yesterday? The guy when we were leaving the restaurant, the guy that was checking out Sienna's. No, Lauren. That was checking out Lauren's. My apple bottom? Her apple bottom. He was checking her out. What's he?
Give the play-by-play. Oh, my God. It was like seeing something unfold, and I saw every second of this bit. We were walking out of a restaurant. Lauren and Sienna were walking together. I was walking with Mike and Jay, and I see this guy, and I see him just Hawkeye in Lauren's butt. And he, I mean, he's like, you could see. You know in a cartoon when the bubbles are above a guy's head, and you see what his head is? I saw the bubble above his head and it said, damn. That's funny. And he's driving through and another car is backing out at the same time. Oh, yeah. And he, I mean, he swerved and I think he dropped an OS. Like, OS. And I'm like, the window was down. Right. He was. country as could be. Yeah. The hillbilly looking dude. Right. And he, I looked, he's looking at her hawk on her and then he looks over and goes, oh, ass! And swerves. He was so close to hitting the car backing out. Barely missed that car backing out. Oh, yeah. Oh, I wanted him to hit it so bad. Stop! This is creeping me out. Stop in traffic. But another one of those things you can get if you have lower back pain is, um, which I think we're going to get when we get the new studio. I know Lauren's talked about it. Those balls that you can sit on, the big exercise balls. Mm-hmm.
That's really, really good for your posture. So if you can get one of those at your office, do it. I can't wait to pop that when Lauren's sitting on it one day. Just pop it. And I'll buy her a new one, but I just want to see. The one time. The one time. And she doesn't expect it. I'll break my tailbone. No, you don't want to. The kid will catch you. It'll be hysterical. It'll be hysterical. That with a butt like that, you won't. Damn. Some cushion for the pushing. That's right. Wow. Did I just say that? Yeah, that was wow. I think you did. That's not what I meant to say. No, I get it. Okay. Another office health risk. Eye strain. If you look at a computer screen all day, your eyes go blurry and it's really bad for your eyes. Why are you wearing? Is it a glare guard? No, because there's guys on construction sites right now going, really, Sally? Yeah. There's dudes that are working for a living right now. They're like, mechanics are like, oh, do your little eyes hurt? Oh, my God. Does your wrist get sore when you tie? Do you need some pillows for your peepers? I'm sure they would much rather be working on a car than sitting at a computer. 100%. Well, if you look at a screen all day, your eyes do become more sensitive. Do they? And so they say just increase the font size that you use. Guys, like I lifted cement all day yesterday.
Really? I don't feel you. I had to get a glare guard from my computer at my last job. My eyes are so sensitive. My eyes are so sensitive. They are sensitive. My eyes are going crazy. And I lower the little brightness and it drives you crazy, Mike. Because you like it uber bright. Is that it? No, there's a couple more bacteria. Get the little. Hand sanitizer. I live by that thing. And if you're stressed out at work, you're feeling a lot of stress, breathing and relaxation techniques help. And they also say, believe it or not, video games on your computer. Just, you know, hmm. You can work aside for a minute. If you're real stressed out, play a couple minutes of video games. Explain that one to the boss. Yeah. I know. Yeah, I'm playing Qbert in here. Fiona told me. Sorry. Maybe go to Facebook for a minute, you know. Are those Hello Dollies? Yeah, I brought them. You know that. You did? You can smell them. They're so good. For us? Yeah, I've brought them for you guys. I didn't bring a whole tray for myself. We do it on the... Really? Really? Can you jump now? Yeah, I want to jump now. Cut it up. Maybe two. He's been talking about these Hello Dollies, and none of us have ever had them. The whole city of San Diego is talking about these things. Are they? Yeah. Hello Dollies are graham crackers. Chocolate chips. Chocolate chips. Pecans. Pecans, coconut. Coconut and condensed milk baked in the oven at, what, 350? Yep.
For 20 minutes? 15 minutes. Now Woods is opening it. And, of course, he's already cut into this. Look at that. It's half eaten. Wow. Like a quarter. How long did it take you to work through that? Me? Yeah. 20 minutes. Oh, wow. That's impressive. 20 seconds. Oh, my God. These are perfect. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Coming in. The wife made these, Jamie? Look at the swirly chocolate on the side. AM1s. We'll throw this. We'll throw this. recipe up online? Yeah, put on your blog, Woods. It is. It's been on my blog. Is it on there? Yeah, it's already up there. Because you don't really like coconut. Yeah. I love coconut. Thank you. I want to know if these are named after James Madison's wife. I know you do. Dolly Madison. Thank you. Feast on that. Let's try this, Woodsy. Feast on that. Yeah, dude. Oh, yeah. Oh, it's nice and moist. Moist. Really? With that word? What do you think? She doesn't like it? She doesn't like coconut? No, I... It's good. I'm not a coconut fan. It gets stuck in my teeth. Oh, my God. This is so good. Mm-hmm. This is so bad for you. I can feel my arteries clogging. Compelling. I'm telling you. I love the graham cracker. I'm telling you. Woods, there's nothing like this. There's nothing like it. I've never had anything like this. Wow. I told you. Makes you want to slap yourself. Mm-hmm. Yeah. You said yesterday it makes you weak in the knees. It does. Mm-hmm.
Oh, my God. They're so good. I'm going to be so silly now from this sugar. I love it. Good. You put this on your blog? Mm-hmm. They're the best. My mom used to send them to me in college. And by the time she would send them, I went to college in Chicago. They'd be kind of dry. It'd be a couple days. Dude, when you get them out of the oven, maybe put a little scoop of ice cream on there with it. You will die. You will die. Jay, what do you think? I'm in. Yeah, and somebody texted in or wrote in and said they're not called Hello Dollies. They're called... Dream bars. Whatever. You call it whatever you want, dude. In the big D, we call them Hello Dollies. There you go. Oh, that's good. Is there butter in there? No. Oh, yeah. Butter in the graham cracker. Yeah. Like a whole stick. Uh-huh. It's okay. You don't worry about it. Don't think about it. Want to hear me and Woodsy doing fake interviews with each other again on the computer? You can't stop doing it. You guys are children. I know. This time, Billy Bob Thornton. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Unbelievably nervous right now. Talking about the legends.
Billy Bob Thornton's in front of me. And just right off the bat, I want to let people know that I do not want to talk about your character, Carl, from Sling Blade because I saw you in an interview and you got all upset about it. So just know straight off the bat, I'm not going to go there. All right, Dan. Okay. All right. Sounded like Carl, but I don't. Thank you. Thank you, Billy Bob. It sounds like you're doing Carl, though. Yes, sir. You are doing Carl. Yes, sir. Yeah. I feel like you're, Carl, and I don't want to, I don't, hey, listen, I'm not going to upset you by asking you necessarily the sling blade questions, but if you want to do that, you can. Let's talk about just the acting industry, how it's changed. Craft services in a down economy compared to when things were really great. How has it changed what they feed you? I got some of that potty meat and salty crackers left. From craft services, you mean? Like that's what they give you, I'm guessing. So what do you put on, what do you like on your potted crackers or whatever? Mustard's good on them today. Okay. All right. You like biscuits, then. I'm guessing you...
Oh, no, no, no. I don't have time to make you biscuits, but I will do whatever it is that you want. So if you want to eat something, I will get you something to eat. Great fried potatoes. Okay, I'll get you that. No problem. Billy Bob, why are you talking like Carl? That's weird that you're talking like Carl. You ought not talk that way. See? You're getting upset. Don't get upset. No, don't get upset with me. It freaks me out when you get upset. You're starting to make me think maybe you're not stable. Are you not stable? No, sir. Are you feeling like you're not the most stable individual? They turned me loose in the nervous hospital. See? And I will. Right. Right. Because you're not right in the head. Yes, sir. Listen. I studied on killing you. Wow. That's freaking me out. That's weird. You haven't done that to anybody else, have you? No, sir. Okay. You sure? I've killed Noel Hargrave. I knew it. I knew it. I knew you did. I knew you did. Don't mean I don't care for you. The fact that you just threatened me, Billy Bob Thornton. Yes, sir. But you still. All right. You and me made friends right off the bat. Oh, my God. Thank you for being here. Yes, sir. And I'm going to go now.
I like the way you talk. There he is. I like the way you talk. It's Billy Bob Thornton. That is great. That is great. You guys ready to guess whether or not Sienna can sing this? I'm ready. Sienna does not know a lot of the songs that we know. No, I don't. Unfortunately. She doesn't. Sienna's 25 years old. Her pops listened to the Rolling Stones for sure. And her brother listened to Ozzy. Metallica. Metallica, right? And so there are some songs that I'm fairly certain she will know. And there's some songs that I'm like, there's no way in the world. Yeah. Where do you guys stand on George Thurgood moving on over? Well, seeing as how I heard it this morning on the drive in and was so stoked because I love that song. Yeah. There's no.
She knows this. What? No way. I put this at 0% chance. What do you mean? Almost negative. Almost negative. Thanks for the love. Jay, would you like to take a guess at Sienna getting George Thurgood moving on over? I say she doesn't know it. Wow, guys. Thanks a lot. You ready, Sienna? Of course I am. You were born ready. I come in last night about a half past ten. That baby of mine wouldn't let me in. So move it on over. Rock it on over. Move over, little dog. A mean old dog is moving in. Wow. She told me not to mess around, but I done let this deal go on down. Move it on over. What is with the hasty accent? Right on over. Move over, nice dog. A big dog is moving in. Oh, my God. Was I close? No! I sounded like it could have been close.
I would say that's not even close. Is it country at all? No. Because I was getting a country vibe. No, you would really find some twang in that. He's a little country. No. Well, not country, but he's a country boy. Everyone knows this song, but will Sienna? Seven Mary Three, cumbersome. Oh, yeah. No way. I think she will. You say yes. Thank you, Lauren. I say yes as well. Thanks, Jay. I believe that there is a 4.5% chance that she knows the song. That's a no. Woods? Yeah, no, 0%. All right. You ready, Sienna? Of course. Here we go. I like the key change. Last but not least, how are you guys feeling on Metallica the Unforgiven? Yes.
Percentage of chance, Woods? 71. I will give this a 62% chance she knows it. I like your percentages. 54. 99%. 54. 99% chance she knows it. Thanks, Jay! Her brother, Taylor, loves Metallica. If she doesn't get this, then she's basically toast. Fired. All right. Here we go. Vlad joins this earth. And quickly, he's subdued. How you doing, Jay? Through constant pain, disgrace. Oh, the young boy learns their rules. You guys are kind enough. The time the child draws in. This whipping boy done wrong. Deprived all of his thoughts. The young man struggles on and on. He's known. I think she might know it. A vow unto his own. She's smiling.
From this day. Yeah. Giving her this one. His will they'll take away. What I've. What I've felt. What I've known. Never shine through. Oh, yeah. That was it. That last little. Yeah. The chorus. It's hard. You know, like they don't start with the choruses. I know. It's the verses that are the hard part. Well done. Very good. I got one for three. Was it good? Really? Hey, if I go one for three on Sunday, I'll be happy. That's right. Not bad. This was last night on Letterman, talking about the TV show Lost coming to an end. You folks, you watch a lot of TV and stuff like that? Yeah. You know, there's a show Lost. You know anything about Lost? Yes. Well, I don't want to break your hearts, but it's coming to an end. Yep. What? Big season finale, Sunday night, and I happen to know how it ends. You want to hear? Sounds fake. It was responsive. Their luggage turns up. Not funny. I'm a big Lost fan. Yeah, are you excited? You know it. When is it? It's on Sunday night, two and a half hour finale. Wow. Now, where I'm wondering, what I'm wondering is what's going to happen is where it will fall in the all-time highest ratings of...
Series finales. What's number one? Number one's M.A.S.H. Number two. Seinfeld? Number two was not Seinfeld. All in the Family. Cheers. Cheers was number two. Three's Company. Third was Seinfeld. So those are the top three. Lost is a show that I think is unlike any other show. However, I don't think the ratings are going to be as big as some people think just because a lot of people stopped watching this last season. And it's just one of those shows that you have to watch every single episode. And people that know the show and would want to watch the finale know that. And so if they didn't watch them all, then they're not going to know what's going on. Yeah, MASH was the number one. Seinfeld was the number two. The number three was Cheers. Cheers. The number four was Friends. Yeah. It was the fourth highest rated end of a show ever. And you'd be shocked by what number five was. Believe it or not, the number five most watched series finale was, you're going to trip out when I tell you this. No freaking way. Magnum P.I. No way. I was going to say Full House. No, Magnum P.I. No way. I was thinking like Family Ties. Yeah. Number five.
Top five ever of all time Magnum PI. I've never watched a single episode. Me either. What? I never saw one episode. Tom Selleck? Yes. I never saw one episode. Me neither. What was interesting about him? What was about Magnum? His mustache. His short shorts. Short shorts. I mean, number one. Yeah. Dude, he was a former quarterback. He was living in Hawaii. He was a private investigator. He drove a Ferrari. He had a freaking helicopter. How did he have a Ferrari in a helicopter? Because he was loaded. No, no. He lived at a guy's house. He lived at what's the guy's name? I don't know, but he hung out with hot chicks. How did he get the Ferrari in the helicopter? Because he was an investigator. Was he an investigator for this guy? He was like house-sitting or something for this house. No, I think you're crazy. I think you're crazy. Somebody better call me. I was like six, but I just remember being like... I want that mustache. Look at me now. I look just like him. Yeah, right? You have a mustache. Me and Tom Selleck. You don't even know the difference. You can't even tell the difference. He's growing his mustache out. You can kind of tell a little bit. A little bit. Yeah. I think there's a little bit of a difference. Not much. STP adhesive. We actually talked about this the other day. And this is a great debate. And then we're going to introduce you to a brand new Mikey bit. The Mikey Show Amazing Race. Oh, yes! But when we come back and I...
I'd love for people to call about this right now. I know phone lines are lighting up for people that are calling to tell us exactly what Magnum PI was about. I also want people to call us. And I want you to have a strong opinion. If you don't have a strong opinion on this, don't call. But if you have a really, really strong opinion about what the best supermarket spaghetti sauce is, call us. 570-1949. Call us now. When we come back, we'll tell you that. We'll also do a brand new bit for Mikey Show Amazing Race. Part of the Mikey Show now. 570-1949. More text. I'm ski at gmail.com. More of the Mikey Show coming up in minutes on FM 94.9. southbound between the 78 Center City Parkway. Pretty much stop and go. It's slowing in the teens in some spots. Coronado Bridge westbound between the 5 and the Toll Plaza. We've got delays in that area. A lot of congestion. Encinitas on the 5 southbound between Lucadia Boulevard, Santa Fe Drive. We're seeing speeds in the upper 20s this morning. This report, it's also brought to you by Mossy Nissan, the Nissan National. 10 event means 31 days to save at all six Mossy Nissan locations, so don't wait. Time's running out. I'm Stacey Cohen, FM 94.9. It's time for the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. Good morning to you. This is Bird from Dragon Eyewear with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report for a Thursday morning being brought to you by the good folks at Guayaquil Yerba Mate. And they are teaming up with your local Jimbo's Naturally supermarket stores to give you a chance to win one or two custom-built Russkies to your specifications. So stop by any of those Jimbo's Naturally locations. Make up some Guayaquil product and other goods from there. And at the same time, sign up for the free giveaway for one or two rusty surfboards. Today, we've got some surf out there. A west-northwest wind, groundswell filling in, along with some slow increase out of the southwest has picked the surf up and put us back into rideable-sized ways. Looking at waist-to-chest-high surf on average, maybe a few shoulder-high ways right now with the standout spots. Dealing with a couple different things, though. Heading into a negative low tide at around 9.30 this morning, so that is hindering size and shape in most spots.
Winds are calm right now, but they are expected to pick up again pretty quickly out of the west. So early morning conditions will be better, but the tide's not cooperating quite right right now. Beach breaks look to be your better bet with a crossfit flow combination. Watch for the reef breaks to improve some as that southwest fills in later in the day, and they might be able to handle this wind more, you know, as well, too. So anyway, we want to look at it. We've got surf today. For up-to-the-minute surf reports and forecasts, go to surpline.com and for everything you need in order to go surf. Check out one of South Coast Surf Shops, five locations, or go online at southcoast.com. This surf report can only be heard three times daily right here on FM 94.9. This has been the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. Back to the Mikey Show. Mikey. I don't have any, you know, athletic abilities. Sienna. I'm like a little bit Irish. Really? There's everything white I am. Woods. I mean, hey, listen, I do snuff on the planet, okay? Lauren. I was a bit of a pyro when I was a kid. I knew how it worked. I knew how destructive it was. I still started fires on the regs. And, Jay, this is a paid gig. I'm 100% in. This is The Mikey Show on FM 94.9. Well, I woke up Sunday morning with no way to hold my head. That didn't hurt. And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad, so I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled in my closet, threw my clothes and found my cleanest, dirty shirt. Then I washed my face on my hair. Johnny Cash, Sunday morning coming down. That is one of Woodsy's picks for today. That's one of my mom's favorite songs in the world. There you go, man. There you go. Marsha. Marsha. Little angel. She's a little angel. So here is the deal. Before we went to break. First of all, we said we were going to be introducing you to Mikey's show Amazing Race, which we will in just a moment. Yes. And we're talking about, and I only wanted people with passion to call in. And I have been assured that these people, they are ready to discuss. They're passionate peeps. Their spaghetti sauces, okay? Because most of us, unless you're my wife, have a preference. My wife is like, whatever. Just grab whatever.
She could care less. That's weird. Yeah. Feared. Because everybody has their brand. I gave up mine. You did? For your husband, right? For my husband. What? He had his, you had yours, his one. His one. What is it? Prego meat-flavored spaghetti sauce. Oh, yeah. That sounds real good. It's disgusting. And I eat it like a few nights a week. Hey. I don't know what you're talking about there, Sienna, because M1 Katie from Oceanside says your husband is absolutely correct. No, Katie. Katie, you there? Prego's okay. Oh, that's what you said. Prego was your brand. No. Oh, no. There's only one spaghetti sauce that I will eat out of a jar, and it's from Trader Joe's, and it's the organic vodka sauce they have there. We're getting a bunch of people calling with that one, by the way. I've heard that one's good. I don't need anything organic. But this, it's very, very good. It's a little bit creamy. I like the creamy. Oh, yeah. It's not like the nasty creamy where it's like the Alfredo cheesy, disgusting. It's very, very good. It sounds delicious. It sounds delicious. It's vodka sauce, right? So it's like the pink. It's a little bit pink, yeah. Thank you.
Thank you. I'm looking over at Lauren O'Brien. She's shaking her head and sticking her finger down her throat. Yeah. You've had it. Don't like it at all. Don't like it at all. You've had the vodka sauce there? Yeah. What's a good one? I like the marinara sauce. Weird. Straight? Marinara? Mm-hmm. Particular brand? Marinara. From Trader Joe's, but my favorite sauce of all time, hands down, Classico. But they don't sell that at Trader Joe's, so. Classico's good. It can be anywhere. Classico made the list. They did? Mm-hmm. I have the top five, in no particular order, best supermarket tomato sauces. What do you got? And the Classico four-cheese pasta sauce made the list. Yeah, it looks good. Classic. Delicious. Never had it, but I've seen it, and it looks good. Do you eat stuff out of a jar? I do. My favorite brand is Rouse. Homemade. I swear, I thought you were going to say ragu. I thought you were going to say ragu, too. No, Rouse. It's on the list. Rouse is on there? Rouse Homemade. Arrabiata sauce. Yeah. Is it like Spanish? Arrabiata. Is it like Mexican? Of course, Mike likes the one that I can't pronounce. It's not. It's Mexican spaghetti sauce. I know you think it's Mexican. I'm telling you. Italian. It's got chilies and jalapenos, habaneros. Your Mexican-ness is what defines you. That's right. I'm telling you, delicious. It has basil, oregano, and a touch of crushed red pepper. Yeah, it does. Sounds delicious. So good. So good. What else?
Trader Joe's roasted garlic marinara. Everybody swears by Trader Joe's stuff. What the hell is Trader Joe's? It's a grocery store here. Really? Yeah, in Texas they don't have it. It's called Trader Joe's and lots of people swear by the food there. I feel so out of place when I shop there. Really? I feel like everyone's judging. Why are these aisles so small? Isn't Henry's very healthy too? Henry's is healthy. Jimbo's is healthy. Trader Joe's is healthy. Although... Trader Joe's is like... It's the middle of the road. And you hear a lot of great tasting food, great tasting food, great tasting food there. But I'm with Sienna. I go in there, I feel like the only fatty in there. Everybody else is all natural. There's plenty of stuff to get you nice and fat at Trader Joe's. Absolutely. Can I get Crunch Berries there? No. No. They have like penguin puffs and stuff. Which just threw his hands up in the air. He's like, I'm out. And they have the two buck chuck there too. So you get cheap wine. They have the best wine. In town, hands down. Is it really $2 for that bottle? For Charles Shaw, yeah. It's overrated. But you'll get the best, in my opinion, you'll get the best price for California wines. And it's $2 for real? I'm going for volume, not best taste. $2, yeah. What else? $3.65 Everyday Value Organic Classic Pasta Sauce. Where's that from?
Is that just what it's called? Yeah. Get it anywhere? Yeah. Whole Foods Markets, I think. I'd pass that up in a second. It says. Too much to read. 365 Everyday Value Organic Classic Pasta Sauce. That's Whole Foods, I think. Yeah. Yeah. Is that it? Nope. One more. What is it? Oh, here we go. La Familia Del Grosso, Uncle Jim's Late Night Putanesca. Wow. I'm sure we just got a fine for that. La Familia Del Grosso, then to Uncle Jim's Late Night Putanesca. Whoa. M1 Ian from Mission Valley. What's the best one? Hello? Hi, this is Ian. I know that. You're from Mission Valley. The best one is plego meat sauce, hands down. Oh, yeah, right. My husband is smiling right now. It's a good one. I grew up with it. My parents bought it. Ever since I was a little boy, I refused to buy anything else. Ian, is it kind of sweet? Just a tiny bit of sweetness? The flavors and the spices that are in there are unmatched by any other sauce in the supermarket. Wow, you sound like you could be doing a commercial for them. Seriously. I eat it all the time. It's so gross. I always try to add stuff to it to make it better. I got a tip for you. I just...
Raleigh, and I eat it. M1 Steve from Bankers Hill. Hey, what's happening, fellas? What's going on? And ladies? Hello. I actually called about Magnum P.I., but you guys got me hungry with all the... It happens on this show. Hey, now let me get this right. Rao's, R-A-O, Rouse. They make sauce. Oh, yeah. That's the restaurant from New York. It's famous. It's where it comes from. Yeah, it says right on the jar that that's where it's from. Sold. I gotta try that. I have to, too. Where can you buy it, Mike? You can buy it at Stater Brothers, or as my dad would call it, Statler Brothers. I always thought it was Slater Brothers. Yeah, I'm sure he's called it that, too. Christian and his brothers. Can you get it at, like, the classic Ralph's or Vaughn's? Yes. Okay. I don't know. I know for sure you can get it at the Stater Brothers, but I don't know about the other places. But you can get it at Stater Brothers. It's good. Make that right. M1 Steve, so do you have a preference? You know what? I'm going to try Ray House. My preference, if I have to go to the store, is the Emeril's vodka sauce, but it's like $19 a jar. That's good. Emeril Lagasse, does he make a good sauce? He makes it himself and jars every one himself, and it's good. Oh, really? Does he? He's in the back. Ladling it? Sure he is. Ladling it. Yeah. Another one ready. Here, here, here. Another tomato sauce. It's great.
You guys ready for something truly amazing? Yeah, yeah. Are you ready for the Amazing Race Mikey Show Edition? So ready. Ladies and gentlemen, let's do this. Five teams of two racing around the world to win $1 million. They may brave the tough challenges ahead of them, but can they handle each other? The Amazing Race Mikey Show Edition. In today's episode... our teams will be sent to the urban jungle of Los Angeles. They'll be given $50 among them in which they'll need to seek food, transportation, and shelter in a 24-hour period. Our first team is Susanna and Sienna. All right, so I think the first thing we should do is start thinking about a place to stay. Speaking of a place to stay, have you ever been to Woody's house?
Are there any pictures of co-workers in his home office? Are there any scriptures and hole punchers in his office? I don't know, probably. Mikey's the one who collects Bibles, though, not Woods. Are you dumb? I said pictures of co-workers. Jeez. Can't believe you went to UCSD and you can't understand a simple question. I went to SDSU, Susanna, and you knew that. I told you last time. Oops. My bad. So anyway, yeah, tell me more about how wood smells. Mom, I want a new Amazing Race partner. Mom, buy me a new reality show. Tune in next time when we join our next team, Jay and Hoyle. You're killing me, Hoyle. I'm going to have to call your mom. Ongoing series of the Amazing Race, Mikey Show edition right here on the Mikey Show. We'll be unveiling the new teams.
As the days go forward, you're going to love it. I love it already. How about this email? You can call us on this. 570. I love that bit. Do I do that or something? No, I don't know why. He always does it. He adds it. Whenever I do Sienna, I always add that. It's my pout. That's right. This says, Morning Mikey show. You guys are killing it. Thanks for making my mornings. I actually have a serious question for you guys if you're up to answering it. I just recently broke up with my longtime girlfriend. We were together for six years. So we have a lot of mutual friends that we made throughout our relationship. In particular, is one of my best buddies. He started dating her best friend. Call her Sarah. About three years ago. And we've known him an equal amount. Now that we're broken up, Sarah's telling me I shouldn't be hanging out with him anymore. I understand that it would be pretty awkward for me and my ex to still go to group events, especially in the beginning, but shouldn't I still be able to hang out with one of my best friends? I talk to him about it, and he agrees with me. I've never been in this situation before, so what do you guys think is protocol, M1, rock and a hard place? Here's the difficult part, and let's review.
Guy and girl are dating. The girl has a really good friend. So when the boyfriend comes into the relationship, that's a new friend to him, the girl, that she's known for years. But during the period of time that they're dating, that buddy, she meets a guy. And so that means, hey, we met him at the same time. In fact, we met him right along the same time your girlfriend met him. And so now I'm friends with him. We break up. You want me to stop hanging out with this dude? You ask me, that sounds completely insane. That it's even a question. In fact, I almost need somebody to explain it to me. It's so far out of the realm of consciousness for me. I need somebody to go, Mike, here's the reason it's messed up. Anybody care to explain to me what part of that is messed up? It came from a woman, dude, so.
Is that it? That's the deal. Is that it? Yeah, I mean, I kind of understand both sides. And unfortunately, this is a situation that you just get in and it's part of the deal when you break up is a lot of times there's other strings attached. Yeah. Who gets custody of the friends? And I mean, if you had to pick custody, I would say the girl would get it. If you had to pick because she was the one that was friends with the original person for the longest. You're friends with this guy. I think that he can hang out with the guy one-on-one, but if he knows that his ex is going to be at that party, he should be the man and say, look, I'm not going to go. Isn't that the worst? Yeah, it's the worst. It's the worst. And we've all been in those situations, and I'm sure there's situations where his ex-girlfriend can't go because he had claim over someone else. Well, yeah, I was going to say not over that couple, though. So he's always the ousted man when it comes to that. Couple. That couple. But I'm sure there's another couple to hang out with. He can never hang out with them or their friends because... The new guy? The new guy. He can never hang out with them. No, he can hang out with him. He and his buddy, he and the guy, they can go to a pod race game, they can go out. But even then, he's going to catch heat from his old lady. I can't believe you're going out with Bill tonight. That's unbelievable. After what happened with him and Sarah, that's unbelievable. Really? How could you hang out with him? I'm trying to imagine that conversation and you're like...
Because we're friends. Because it sounds like he did the breaking up and it's like all bets are off for the person that was in the wrong. I have friends that are close to me that are dealing with this exact situation where the girl who did the breaking up is like, don't hang out with, say his name to Jim. Don't hang out with Jim anymore. No, he's my ex. I don't want you guys to do that. That hurts my feelings. I want him. It's hard for me. I need to move on. I need him out of my life. Well, but we really like him and we're friends with him now and he didn't do anything wrong. In fact, you broke his heart. So why should we stop? So it's just come to the point where like it happens, but it's like, don't ask, don't tell. And see, that sucks too, because then you have to be like, yeah, no, we're not doing anything tonight. And then you're out with Jim and then you're the a-hole for being out with Jim. Well, if you get asked directly about it, it's like, yeah, you have to, but it's not like an in-your-face kind of thing, and you avoid that person's name in conversation. Explain to me again. It's Sarah that is the hurt one, right? She's the hurt one. Can we give them, like, fake names or something? We need names. Okay, Sarah and John were dating originally. John and Sarah broke up. Okay, okay. Sarah's friend Katie met Bill. Yeah. Okay.
And Bill and John are good buddies now. Through all the hanging out, the couple's dinners, all the bits. So Sarah's the hurt one if Bill and John hang out. Because that's her best friend that he broke up with. So she's like, don't hang out with that jerk. No, that's Katie. And Katie and Sarah. Sarah and Katie. This is so confusing. This is a headache. Yeah, that just threw me for a loop. I don't know. The way you read it sounded like Sarah was the friend. No. Nope. Sarah's the girlfriend. That broke up with this guy. So Sarah and Jim were dating. Oh, boy. Sarah and John. I can't remember. Mike. Tom. Oh, I see. I think no matter what, in any situation, if you're going through a breakup, the person who is friends with one of those couple, one of the peoples of that other couple, the longest, should have claim of that couple. But neither girl should be butthurt if they want to hang out. One-on-one. One-on-one. Either way, the guy in this situation who is complaining that he can't hang out with his boy in group situations, he didn't know this boy as long as she knew that girl, her friend. So she gets claim over them. Over them, yeah. In like a party situation. Yeah. Yeah, so he's the tool that's got to be like, I can't go because Katie and Sarah are both there. I'd love to hang out with you, Bill, but I can't. It's not allowed. I would say, yeah, maybe we...
Maybe we grew up three years ago. Maybe we're grown up people now. But you don't want to go hang out with your ex. No, you don't. You just don't do it. No, no, no. I mean, you go to the party, and when you're at the party, you don't hang out with her. But you don't want to see her. But you don't want to see her. It's awkward. I think after a certain time, maybe people can get over it. But these people were dating for six years, so... Oh, that'd be hard. He probably doesn't want to go then. He probably doesn't want to. Unless he's crazy like me, and he definitely wants to go. Because he just needs to see it to hurt himself. He wants to go pound scotch in the corner and be a D. And watch. For sure. M1 Vista, are you there? Nope, we're not. 570-1949 is the number. 949mikey at gmail.com. You ever been in that situation or are you in? Hasn't everyone been in that situation? Everybody has. It's the war. Oh, yeah. I've been in this situation. When I've been in this situation, I don't want any part of the going around. I just don't. You don't want to see him. Like I just, I would rather give up the party. I don't care because I don't want to see him. I don't want to see him. See, like with my ex, I met girls because, you know, it was like, all right, we're going to go do whatever the guys want to do. So it's like when you're in a big social setting, then the two girls end up being friends with each other. The two, you know, outliers, whatever, end up becoming friends. And then after we broke up, I'm like, well, this sucks. I can't like.
call her up because then you can well i mean i can but i have to make sure okay like don't bring him up i don't want to know don't tell me like oh yeah we all went whitewater rafting last weekend i think i don't know i think that those are good ground rules that you set up one time you don't have to revisit them but what you one time you say hey listen just for future reference you know i don't want to hear about my Ex-boyfriend Gennard. Yeah, but it just sometimes, it'll like randomly come up and then you're like, oh. And then you're like, I don't care. I mean, it's not like we can't say his name. It's not like it's a curse word. And then they're like, I don't feel bad though. Well, yeah. Well, I mean, you know, don't tell me. If you guys go camping together, I don't want to know. I know, but it comes out sometimes and then it's like awkward that you said it. And then you're like, I don't care that you guys hang out. No, I don't. It's great. It's cool. It's awesome. It's so painful. Yeah. It's a dagger when you hear their name. Oh, my gosh. Me and Mindy went surfing with Gennard's new girlfriend. Gennard. I mean. Right. And then that thing. Oh, my gosh. I'm so sorry. I just said Gennard met someone. That happens, though. And then you're like. Oh, what's she like? But then as the friend, you're like, do I not tell the friend that now they're dating somebody else? M1 Dave. M1 Dave just texted in and said, grow up.
Hang with whoever you want. I'm kind of with Dave. Yeah, I'm kind of with him too. It is kind of high school-y. Yes. I agree, except for the kind of part. Yeah, it's true. But you have to tread lightly when you're... talking about that person. You do. You do. I mean, no matter what, it's just like you don't want to hurt your friend's feeling when they're going through a heartbreak. Are you guys the type that want to know stuff? Yep. No. Unfortunately. Oh, no. Me and Lauren are the exact same person. Woods and Lauren are similar. Me and Sienna are the exact same. I don't want to know anything because if I don't know anything, it's not happening. Yeah. If I have mutual friends with an ex, I don't hang out with that friend for a long time because I don't want... an encounter of hearing anything. You guys ever do this bit though? And Woodsy, not you because you want to know. But have you ever done this, Sienna, where you're the type that doesn't want to know anything and genuinely, mistakenly, one of your friends gives a tiny bit of information. For me, once there's a little break in the dam.
Now I need to know. Yeah, I think that's more how I am. It's like you ruined it. You told me, so now I have to know. And they're like, no, no, no. I'm so sorry. I don't want to tell you anything. And you're like, well, now you did. So tell me. And you're like, okay. I walked in on them making love. No, I'm not going to tell you that. Jay? I've got a friend's ex who I've been friends with this person. I'm going to try to be as cool about this as possible. Been friends with this person forever. The friend's ex, my friend's ex calls up. to give me all this dirt about him or her. And I was like, why are you calling me? I'm obviously going to still be friends with this person because we've had a long-term relationship and you're trying to, you know, poison it. Really? That's all nuts. Toxic. Toxic, toxic. Let me tell you, when people go out of their way to ruin a relationship for people like that, bad things befall them. Yeah. Karma. Pride comes before the fall. You ruin a relationship, your next relationship is going to get ruined. Yeah. Bad things. That's a bad bit, Jay. That is. Let's see. Bad person. M1 Jesse from Penasquitos. Hi. Hi. So I wanted to say that I agreed with the original person's text message that hang out with you, whoever you want to hang out with. My husband now, actually, we met because the group of friends we hang out with, he was introduced to us by his ex-girlfriend. They were dating at the time.
Because our group of friends said, hey, we like him better, even though she was our friend first. That's how I met him. And that's how we ended up hooking up. And it's just hang out with who you want to hang out with and just grow up. Leave it at that. I agree 100%. M1 Sean from La Mesa. Yeah, I was with the same woman for 15 years. We were actually married for 12 of those years. And we split. And we lived in San Diego when we got married. We moved up to Temecula. So all the friends that we had pretty much. for the majority of our time together. We met at the same time. And so when we got divorced, there was a neighborhood thing and the wives hung out for coffee. She went out with all the wives and told them all that I cheated on her and that's why I left her. And so then I was no longer allowed to hang out with any of the husbands. Oh, yeah, that's what happened. And you did or you did not cheat? No, I didn't. Brutal.
Brutal. So you were never allowed to just hang out with the guys one-on-one? No, he's a cheater. It was a whole thing. It was a group of us. We'd known each other for, I don't know, 10 years. Let me tell you something. People that make up lies about others to try to ruin those relationships, they end up really, really, really in a bad way. Happens all the time. Which would be crazy. Yeah. Yeah, it was really bad because we had an established... That's brutal. Because the women are like... Oh, you're going to hang out with a cheater? What are you, a cheater too? It's all about the company you keep. Those guys are Sally's too, by the way. Those guys are Sally's. Those guys are Sally's. Back up. Check your sack, pal. That's weird. We can't go. Yeah. There's a lingerie store that's going to have to get a special little permit. I'll tell you why. People are going to like this. The Mikey Show.

By the way, if you were listening to Woods on Sports earlier, which I know you were, then you heard Woodsy talking about how yesterday the Chargers proposed a $800 million stadium that would go downtown here in San Diego for the Chargers. Now, the president, the special counsel of the Chargers, that's what he's called, Chargers Special Counsel, Mark Fabiani, he says this is the last one, guys. This is it.
He says, we've gone, you know, we've talked about this a lot. And we have. We've talked about it for probably three years. He says, listen, this is our last offer. Which, by the way, makes me cuckoo in my head. Makes me cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Hearing that. The ultimatum bit? No, it doesn't make me upset at the Chargers. Not even one bit. It upsets me about our city council. That our city council, who, by the way, got us in this mess, they got us to where we're totally broke. Yeah. Because of their mismanagement. They mismanaged it. Now we're all screwed up. We're upside down. So the rap from the city most of the time is, oh, we can't afford anything. We can barely cover up holes in the road. But is this the best time to build a stadium then? I mean. Yes. I think it'll generate revenue. Can I tell you what? Yeah. And I'll tell you this. We got away. Well, what will it mean if we lose them?
What is the cost of keeping them? What is the cost of losing them? You think you'll lose the Chargers? Yes. If they don't build a new stadium? Oh, yeah. How much revenue has Petco generated when there's 5,000 people there? I know Chargers games are going to be a lot more packed and people will be a lot more on board, but you're talking, what, eight games a year there? Yeah, but if you have the public transportation right now, it's set up to go. To the stadium. It can go to Qualcomm as well, but it's not as direct. And so just that money alone that goes to the train systems and stuff. I'm going to make a really wacky, bold prediction. If the Chargers get a new stadium, I believe they'll win the Super Bowl the first year they're in it. I'll tell you why. I'll tell you why. I'll tell you why. I'll tell you why. There's something about new stadiums and football teams. There's also something about new uniforms and football teams. Yankees last year, baseball. won the World Series in their new stadium. There's something about it, man. So rad. Dressed to impress. Yeah, there's a weird psychological thing. I remember in high school when we would get new uniforms, it was like, oh, man. Something psychological about it. Spiffy. Mm-hmm. And tell that to the Brewers, the Tigers. Did they tank like that in new stadiums? Yeah. Well, the Chargers are at least a good football team. They are a very good football team. You know what I mean? They're good.
Make it all the way, though, guys. Say what? I said, make it all the way, though, guys. Yeah, I know. It just hurts me to even talk about it. I'm doing my best to get them to do it. Come on, Norv. I'm trying. No, you're not. Yes, I am. No, you're not. I did. Wade. I did. When you were here as my defensive coordinator, you knew I tried. I did everything I could. I ate cheeseburgers. That wasn't hard. French fries. How did that help me? I did mushrooms in the desert. It didn't help. I did peyote in the desert with you. Didn't do anything for me except I met Jim Morrison out there. You landed me a job with the Dallas Cowboys. Yeah, that's true. You did work out there. You worked there too. I did. Offensive coordinator. No, I didn't. We were doing peyote in the desert when you thought that. That's right. Remember, we were coaches at Dallas Stadium with Jim Morrison. That's right. Oh, interesting. Sounds like a fun time. Yep, we both had on turtle shells. It was really. Bizarre. Weird. Did he look like a lizard? Yep. Yeah. 570-1949 is the number. And let's see. Give us a call right now. M1 Jason, are you there? Yeah, hey. Tell everybody why you're calling because I'm reading it on my phone screener and I'm sure that the ladies are going to be real happy to hear about this one. You're a firefighter? A little bit.
Your voice, guy. Go ahead, Jason. Well, I'm dating a girl. I've been dating her for about a month now. And she's really nice. She's really cool. Is she? But her roommate is so much more hot. Really? Dude, much more hot. What's up with that? What do you mean, what's up with that? Did you? He's in. How long is it? You've been dating a month? Is this Steve Watts? Yeah, just up to get married man, beautiful young lady. You've been dating a month, you said? Just a month, you know, just casual stuff, nothing too serious right now. Does the roommate give you the eye or something? The roommate is, like, just charged with sexual tension. She's in on you, huh? Yeah. Oh, man. I think it's creepy. So creepy. No, it's not.
You're dating a girl. So what? She's not married to the girl who cares. She's been dating her months. It's four weeks. Is that roommate that in on you that maybe she would move if you talk to her? I don't know. That's the only way I can see that working out. Hey. Go for the gold, pal. Dude. Where do you live? Can she come to you? Gross. What? Creepers. What? He's dating this girl. Yeah, but he's got the hots for the roommate. Dating is like, they're not, are you in an exclusive relationship with her? No, it's just been totally casual. Yeah. I haven't been dating anyone. Oh, let's just put his hands up. Big question. Big question right now. Okay. Are the roommates friends or are they just roommates? They seem pretty, they don't seem like friends from way back, but they don't seem like just like mutual roommates. Like Craiglisters that found each other. So do you think it would ruin their relationship if you started dating the other girl? I don't know, but I'm willing to find out. Maybe they're both available. You can date them both at the same time. That's what I was thinking. Maybe try to go for the...
Stop it. A little Minaj bit. Oh, stop. It's so gross. Does that ever work for anyone? It's so gross. 100%. I don't know. She's got to move out. It can't work when they're living in the same place. There's just no way. He's scarred. He likes one. He likes one. Before she's packing her box and stuff, he needs to see that it's a possibility. Packing her box. Excuse me. Excuse me. Can I try to be the voice of reason here? Sure. Sure. This can happen at any time. You realize that. You've picked a girl that you like. Hey, guess what, buddy? You're always going to meet girls that are good looking and that you have a little charged chemistry. He's not married to her, Mike. He's been dating her 28 days. Yeah, he's not married to her. I've been in jail longer than that, pal. Okay, well then wait a second. Then let me get out my notepad. I'm going to write down how many days we must be dating somebody before... They at least need to be exclusive. They're not even boyfriend and girlfriend yet. They're not even exclusive. It's casually said. They're probably just slaying. It takes a few months. Okay, take the roommate out of the picture. The hot, sexually charged roommate. How do you feel about this girl you're dating? I like her. She's great. I mean, there's nothing really wrong with her. French is real good. She's just not the other one. Nothing wrong with her. So he's like, you're not all the way in, I guess. You're out on her already, I can tell. It's casual. You want to know what's going to happen? What? He will.
bail on this girl that he's seeing that he likes for the roommate and she'll turn out to be a haggard. She's sexually charged and she'll cheat on you. Yeah. And then he'll be like, he's going to be like, he's going to go, I wish I had the other one back. Maybe it's true love though. It could be. Do you want to date her or do you just want to romp around? Whatever. Wait, so you said you were kind of a firefighter? How does that work? I mean, dude. He says he's a firefighter. Just in the calendars, that's it. I know, huh? There's nothing wrong with it. You guys saw somebody else you liked that's a little bit better. He's going to make it right for himself. My only worry is that because she's so sexually charged, it's usually like those super out there sexy women have got a... caboose of crazy coming behind him. Fair enough. That's not only... Is this a girl that you would be stoked to introduce to your mother? Hmm. Is the girl you're dating right now a good girl to introduce to your mother? Yeah, she's a good... Look at this guy. Passing up on the good deal. But don't settle on the girl because she makes sense on paper. Exactly. He has to have an undeniable like, yeah, I want to move forward with this girl. The other girl doesn't make sense right through his eyes.
She likes him, and she's flirting with him, and she's giving him the sexual energy right in front of her own roommate, who she knows she's seeing. Maybe she can't help it. Maybe she just exudes sexual energy. I mean, look. Maybe they're meant to be. I'm talking from experience. Really? You know what? I bet this dude, he drops her, right? He drops the sure thing. He goes for the roommate. The sure thing. I love that she's a sure thing. Hey, listen. The old hat. The old hat. He drops Mother Teresa. Really? Haggard. Haggard crackhead. I'll bet you this happens. I'll bet you this happens. Let's hear it, Mike. I bet you he ends up dropping the girl, goes for the other girl, and then they're going out for a little bit. They're having a great time. And then maybe that girl sees somebody's roommate. And he's like, I can't. I can't believe it. I can't believe it. That is to me. Yeah, I guess that's exactly what I sound like. You don't sound like that. Don't worry about it. All right, so he's got a big fire hose, and he's like, I can't believe it. Now we're talking. Now we're talking. These creeps. Creeper girls. But one thing that you always have to remember, and this is kind of what this sounds like, and it's just.
You have to be careful when you're getting into any relationship, and you don't want to start off on the wrong foot, and this is kind of starting off on the wrong foot with this roommate. If you were to pursue her, because she sounds a little scandalous, man, and... Why? We got another... No. Scandal. She's hot. Once you start off with scandal, there's going to be more scandal in your relationship. That was brilliant. But why is that girl scandalous? Because she's hot and exudes sexual energy. No, no, no, no, no, no. She's hitting on him. She's not hitting on him. That's what he said. He said. She's in. That there's like an energy between the two of them, and that means that she's putting it down. There's an energy between you and I, Mikey. That didn't mean I want to slay you. Creepy, creepy. Really, really, you don't. Hey, Mikey, we got trouble. Look at the phone lines. What's wrong with him? How do I know that that's real, Jaybird? How do I know that? It seems real. No way. Jasmine, M1 Jasmine, are you there? Yes. M1 Jasmine says that this guy is her guy that she's been seeing. Jason, I've been listening to this the entire time. I know that's that easy. I can't believe. I cannot believe that you are calling the radio about.
And say this. Holy crap. Oh, my God. I got to go. Yeah. Hey. Hey. Oh, my God. Okay. All right. Everyone take a deep breath. Let's work this out. Everyone take a deep breath. Not taking a deep breath over here. Why are you calling the radio station and saying this? Oh, God. Wow. They usually give good advice to other people. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Are you guys exclusive? I was 100% sure that this was somebody calling to say that. If you guys are exclusive, then she has the right to be mad, but just take a step. I want to hear her fully. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel sorry for her. This is not the way to find out. I'm not dating anyone else, and he's told me he's not dating anyone else. And if you think Tara is interested in you, then you've got another thing coming. She is not interested in you. She's not giving you the eye. No, she's not interested. That's just how she is. She's like that with everybody. With everybody? Oh, God. Yes, with everybody. She's just flirtatious. She's not hot for you. Oh, God. Jasmine, Jasmine, Jasmine, Jasmine. Please don't say any dirty words on the radio. Yeah, don't swear. Don't say anything dirty on the radio. But let me ask you. So were you driving right now and all of a sudden you hear him come on? Yes, my way to work. And I have pulled over so I could call. I can't believe.
I'm on the radio now. This is just so frustrating. Jason, why don't you just say something to me? Don't be worked too late, baby. Don't be worked too late. Oh, gosh. Jasmine, run. Run, run. Don't be worked. And don't look back. He said, don't be worked too late, baby. Wait, wait, wait. Jasmine, Jasmine, has he been cool up to this point? Like, is this a surprise to you? Yes. And Tara's there. We hang out. It's not like it's any big deal. But the fact that to say that she's all, I mean, Sexy and hot. She is good looking, but I don't want to be compared to my roommate. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Earlier, who was it? Was it Sienna or was it Lauren that asked the question about how close they were? Exclusive. Well, no, no, no. Somebody said, how close is, yeah. Sienna asked, Jasmine, are you and Tara close? And Jason was like, well, I wouldn't say they're like old buddies, blah, blah, blah. Are you close to this girl? Yeah, they're really good friends. We met.
after college, and we became roommates, and she's great. We do a lot of stuff together, which is why I know she's not hot for you, Jason. Jason, Jason, you seem very confident that she is hot for you. Why do you think that she's hot for you? A, just because of the flirtatious, and she's been, if they are such good friends, Tara's been really down playing that every time I've been over there. That's why I had no idea. Oh, come on. What do you mean downplaying? That's ridiculous. How is she downplaying, Jason? Like I said, I had trouble trying to figure out whether they're actually just roommates or not. I mean, it seemed like they were kind of friends, but I didn't get a vibe of, like, tightest friends in the world. She wouldn't be flirting with me that much if they were. Maybe she's got to beef with the wrong person here, guys. Maybe she should be beefing with Tara. Maybe she should be beefing with Tara. No, first of all, it doesn't sound like this guy. Jasmine, doesn't sound like this guy is ready to be dating right now or be exclusive right now. I would agree with that. No, you think he is? I like the guy. If it's not Tara, it's going to be Susie or Madeline or Lauren, just to throw out a name there.
Sienna. Who you can find on Facebook right now. Mikeyshow.com. Especially if you're a fireman. You wouldn't even. Are you kidding me? Jason, come on. What? You know what vibe I'm getting, Woods? What? He thinks that there's more than there is. She sounds right to me. She sounds like Tara probably isn't all into him. I think Tara's not all into her. Really? No. Oh, you're crazy, Woods. You are crazy. Jason, are you ever in a room with Tara where it's just you and Tara in the room? Yeah, but not for long. Okay, and when you are, is that what? Is there anything? Does she act in any way that you wouldn't think she'd act in front of Jasmine? A little bit, yeah. She gets a little bit more flirtatious then. Jasmine, Jasmine, doesn't that mean anything to you at all? Do you not believe that? I don't know. I'm completely so frustrated by the fact that we're on the air right now. We're just not having a conversation, first of all, Jason. And I just don't think Tara would do that. I just really don't think that she would do that. You're not. Jason, you know what? I'm sorry. You're just not all that. I just don't think you're Tara's type.
Jasmine's not trying to set you up with Tara right now. But hey, Jasmine, does Tara have a past at all of doing anything like that? Scandalous? Breaking up a relationship? She dated a guy who was going out with a girl in college. So does this really surprise you? I mean, are you really shocked right now? Because you're acting really shocked that she would do something like that if she has been. If Jason's right. I'm confused. Honestly, I just don't think that she would do that. I'm furious that I'm hearing about this on the radio, quite frankly. Yeah, I'm sure. And whether or not she's giving up the vibe or not, he's looking for it. What do you do, Jasmine? What do I do? I work in an office. Very dramatic. I do accounts receivable. Excuse me? I just think that you... She's mad. I know she is, but... Which would be crazy. Would you stop it?
I'm not crazy. No, Jasmine, you're not crazy. No, you're not crazy at all. I'll even vouch for her on that. She's not crazy. It's not that she's crazy. It's not that she's crazy. It's not that she's crazy. No, no, no. I'm not saying that she's crazy. I'm not saying that she's crazy. Jasmine, listen to what Lauren was saying. Do you honestly feel like Jason's ready to be in a committed relationship after everything you've heard? You know what? Honestly, it doesn't matter because I'm not ready to be in one with him. Well, there you go. Perfect. Smart girl. Play whoever he wants. You're crazy. Why don't you go hang out at Woods' house? Yeah, with me and my beautiful wife? Yeah. What does that mean? Take some lessons on how to be a creep. Really? If there's a creep in it. I've never sent a nude picture of myself to anybody. Everybody who hasn't sent a nude picture in here, raise your hand. I've sent a few in my day. Just kidding. Just kidding. Sienna, is Tara in the wrong or is Jason in the wrong? They're both. Well, Jason's for sure in the wrong because he just called his radio station and got caught. But Jasmine, I definitely think that your girl Tara deserves a little conversation too because that sucks. Even if, I mean, obviously I don't know if this relationship with Jason is going to work out, but you'd like to be able to feel comfortable bringing a future guy home and not, you know, feel threatened or worried. I have a solution. Of course.
I have a solution. I'll talk to her. I just don't think that that's what's happening. And it may not be. It's an easy solution. All you do is you turn L-O-B on her. Yeah. Get in there and sniff around a little bit, L-O-B. It's not worth it. You say it's not worth it? It doesn't matter if she's given the vibe or not. It's about that guy. She doesn't want a relationship with Tara. She wants a friendship with Tara. It doesn't matter. But if she doesn't want a relationship with Jason, then who cares? But she also wants to feel comfortable bringing any other guys home and not feel like Tara's like, oh, hey. Right. This is turning into a Tara thing. It's the wrong guy then. It's the wrong guy. It is the wrong guy. But any guy is the wrong guy because she doesn't want a relationship. It will be the wrong guy if he's going to be like swayed by a temptress. A temptress? Jasmine. Slayed by a temptress. Yeah, Jason, you heard it right here. Hey, Jasmine? Yeah, let's see the picture. I do agree with Lauren. I think that, no offense, Jason, but guys sniffing around stuff at your apartment and probably shouldn't be. Just stay single, Jason. Yeah, she is. She is. I guess I just go with my gut. I mean, that's what I was feeling. He goes with his piece.
Follow your piece, dude. You can't go wrong. Oh, you can go bloody wrong. Yeah, for sure. Toucan's ham over there. You're going to end up with some disease. Write that down. What are you? Hey, Jasmine. Is Tara at home or something? Really? Really? Really? Really? That was fantastic. Jasmine, he's the wrong guy. Talk to your girl. Everything's going to be okay. How did you meet him, Jasmine? Good thing you found out now. Dirtbags.com. How did you meet? How did you meet? We met at the gym. Yeah, go get what you want, pal. Go get what you want. Can you help me with these weights? Go get what you want. Feels real good. All right, guys. Thanks for calling. Yeah, whatever. I'll talk to you later. Oh, yeah. Will you? Yeah, you will. That's nuts. I love him. It reminds me of every dude. I love him, too. He's great. He's like... Why do girls like that? Why do girls like... Because they do. Why? They don't like the guy that's like, hey, honey, I love you. They like the guy that's like, eh, maybe I'm in, maybe I'm not. I know, it's true. Yeah, maybe you figured out. I liked him until he started backpedaling and like... Did you like right now when he goes, hey, what's Tara up to? No, I liked him before Jasmine got on the line, before he like started backpedaling and...
very confident. Like asking her what Tara was up to. It's genius. Creepazoid. Creepazoid. God forbid you cheat on the girl you've been with for three weeks. That's a thing. When's the wedding, guys? When's the wedding? If it's only been three weeks, cheat away. Should I save the date? Break it off. I haven't got my save the date in the mail yet. Break it off, Woods. You don't have to have two things going at the same time. He's trying to break it off. He wants to slay your roommate. He's just wondering how to do it. Hey, Woods, you let me know. How many weeks until you stop cheating? When you're exclusive. When you're an exclusive couple. How about that? All right. Even she said it. Even she said she's not ready. You got me a little bit there, but... I'm on Team Woods for once. But if you're daily. Yeah. I know it took six months. I'm kind of with you. Well, it was her impression that they were exclusive, and she said that that's what he told her. She said she's not ready for a serious relationship either. No, she just said right now with him. Call back, Jasmine. Call back. She said, I'm not ready to be in a relationship with him. That's what she said. Which means? With him, because he's a dirtbag. Is he? Yeah. That's right. Just FYI. My graham cracker crust is the business. M1 Rose from Escondido. Hi. Hi. Glad to be on the show with you guys. I'm a big fan. Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome.
Yeah, so I'm calling about the college last time. All I remember the name was Tara. That's the only name I remember. That's the whorish roommate. Yeah. We don't know that. You guys said. I didn't say that. No one said that. No, she wasn't a whore at all. I mean, I think that that was just her personality. Some girls are just really flirtatious, like the roommate was saying. I think the guy, you know, he's just, he's just, he just reads the wrong signs or something. He's looking for it. How to read girls. I'm calling, I'm kind of calling BS on both of them that they could have been trying to get radio time. Because, because she sounded so like, that's why I said, like, I'm not saying she's crazy, but I'm saying, did she call back, Jay? No, she never called back. But why would anyone do that? Like, what? Oh, I was on the Mikey show. 15 minutes. I don't know. She was like, she goes. oh my gosh, I just can't believe this is happening. I did. I was like, okay, take a deep breath for a second, girl. I was like, really? Well, it sounded like Jason was like a stand-up comedian, too. No. Trying out bits. No. I liked him. He was real cool. He was D-bag. This is just so frustrating to me. Really? Maybe that's how she is. He could have just talked to her and been like, you know, we're not serious or anything. Yeah.
I mean, communication is key, right? That's right. They could have talked to each other or, you know. But, I mean, that's cool. I mean, I would have called you guys for advice. Yeah. That's awesome. You can anytime. M1 Irritated from San Diego. Hello. How are you? Okay. What are you calling to say? Just what's his comment about how it's just in the beginning of a relationship. It's not committed. Yeah. I found out. after I was already married that my husband had cheated on me in the beginning of our relationship. Okay. And I just think that it sets our pattern for, it's just a pattern. No, Woods says in the first 30 days, totally okay. No, no, no. That is complete and utter, total BS. I'll have Woods' back on this 100%. Hey, you guys had a, are you guys still married, by the way? Yeah. Okay. So you found out that he cheated on you in the beginning of your relationship. Were you guys an exclusive couple, boyfriend, girlfriend? Yes, we were. Your husband's a dirtbag. Sorry. I mean, that's the case. This guy was like, this is casual. We hang out. You know, I go over there and sit and we hang out. And even she said that they're not, you know. They both said they're not exclusive. That's why it's okay. That's why it's okay. She said. No, she didn't. She said.
I believe we are exclusive, and he told me that we were exclusive. She said, I don't date anybody else, and he said he doesn't either, and he doesn't. Isn't that the same thing as exclusive? No, but then he goes, are you guys committed? Are you in a serious relationship? She said, no, we're just hanging out, and he goes, it's casual. Jasmine, if you are still listening, call back. If you're listening and you know Jasmine, somebody was listening and they know who she is, will you call her and tell her to please call back so we can talk to her? Mikey, let's do a little scenario. All right. You meet, well, you're married. I guess we're all married. Let's pretend. Are we? Let's pretend. Are we all married? Lauren. I didn't get the memo. Lauren, a guy calls you and you meet a guy and he takes you to dinner. He comes over and he watches a movie. What's he look like? You know what he looks like. Super hot. He comes over, you guys watch a movie. You hang out a couple of days a week for three weeks a month. You find out he's seeing somebody else. Are you going to flip out? Seeing somebody else? Seeing somebody else. Yeah, I'm going to flip out. After three weeks. Are we... You've hung out a couple of times. I don't know if you slept with a guy. I don't know what kind of girl you are. But I'm telling you, we don't even know if these two have slept with a guy. Are we intimate? You are killing me right now. Why? Are we intimate? Because if the shoe was flipped and you were with some girl and you were saying to me and Bark Malman, you're like, this girl is... I think I may have found the one. He's not saying that. Wait, hang on. You're painting weird... Fine, let's try this. Just go with me on this one. All right.
You meet this girl. She is hot. You go on a date. There's no commitment. You go on a date. Let's see you guys go to a concert. You go see Edward Sharp. You come back from the concert. You tell me and Bark Malman, dude, this girl was awesome. Incredible kisser. I'm pretty crazy about this chick. She's pretty cool. You go out again, right? Date number two, second week. Come back from that date, you're like... Yeah, you go, hey, someone saw Muse. Okay. Come back from the Muse show and you're like, hey, Malman, Mikey, Frenchster real good. Okay, Frenchster. Uh-huh. All right. Now you're like, dude, I like this shit. Starting to like her. You're starting to like her. Okay. Going on a third date. All right. This time you guys go see Bolly Wolly and the Piggy Polly 2s. Okay. Who wouldn't? I love Bolly Wolly and the Piggy Polly 2s. I do too. So you go see them. Great show. Frencher. Great time. Blah, blah, blah. I like if Mike just throws it. Frencher. Well, I'm trying to go with Woods. I'm going with Woods. I'm going with Woods talking. It's Woods on Woods here. It's Woods on Woods. And so, and you're talking about her a lot. That's what we do. You know, when we like somebody, you know how you talk about, you work them into a conversation because you like them. You work them into a conversation. You're doing that whole bit. Okay? Okay.
And then on a Thursday night, you guys are hanging out. She wants to come watch the Yankee game with you. And you open the door and she's got a bottle of wine and a big bag that says Buca di Beppo. And she's got on a Yankee cap and her hair in a ponytail. Done. And you're like, I know what happens inside of you. Oh, I'm stoked. And you guys are sitting there and she's like, so, yeah, so I was talking to Steve the other day and blah, blah, blah. She wouldn't say that. I was talking to Bill the other day. She wouldn't say that. No. Follow me here. Come on, Renoir. I was talking to Craig the other day. And you go, who's Craig? And she goes, I told you about Craig. This is why she wouldn't say, though. And you go, because she wants to get it out there. She wants to get it out. So she's trying to, like, work it into a conversation somehow. She goes, I told you about Craig. And you're like, no, you didn't. And you know she didn't. She's pretending like she did, but she knows she didn't, too. She just wants to be able to, like. subtly get it out there. Clearer conscience. Clearer conscience. You go, who's Craig? And she's like, that's a guy I'm seeing. Okay. You'd be like, great, get out. No, I wouldn't. Absolutely not. I don't think he would either. Zero percent. Really? That's what I'm saying. Because you wouldn't care, Woods. You wouldn't care? It's not that I wouldn't care, Mike, but I wouldn't boot her. I'd be like, cool, I'm slaying you too. Yeah, right. Yeah, dude, I would. And I agree with that. We are not boyfriend, girlfriend. You wouldn't say. I haven't asked her out yet. Exactly. That's the thing. I haven't asked her to go with me yet. That's the deal breaker.
If she were to say something like that, which is why I was like she wouldn't say that because she wants to be with him. If she's putting on a Yankees cap and she's doing that, she wants to be with him. And if she did say that, it's because she's trying to get him to make it exclusive. She's seeing me, too. M1 Lizzie from Temecula. Hey, guys. Hi. How are you guys doing? Good. I'm calling. I'm agreeing with you on this, Mikey. I'm calling BS on the whole situation. These two had this phone call set up. You think? I do. Now. What gave you that? Because when I was talking to her, I'm like, she's either crazy or she's full of it. Just her dramatic, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I was driving to work and I had to pull over and then his comment at the very end about, hey, is Tara there? Right. Yeah, and he also said, I'll talk to you later, Lauren. I just don't understand why anyone would do that, though. It just doesn't make sense. Like, really, you're going to come up with this whole scheme? Hey, Lizzie, I'm with you on all of it, except for that last part, which Woods would do for sure. Zero percent. The last part, you wouldn't, as a joke, be like, hey, is Tara home right now? Oh, that part. I thought you meant me booting the draw. No, the Tara part. Oh, yeah, I'd do that. Yeah. He would do it in a heartbeat. Yeah, I was totally set up for radio time. You think?
She ain't calling back. See, I disagree, because I totally pulled the roommate switch when I was much younger. I'm sure you did, Jason. Yeah, but I'm the creep here. Jay, you did? Yeah, I mean, we met at the club a few times, and then she says, hey, let's go to a show. And I was like, okay, you're going to take me to a show. She bought the tickets to the show, and it was a late night, so she said, hey, just come over and crash at my place. And I was like, okay, you know, we never held hands, nothing else. Jay, who'd you go see? So then we got back and I crashed on the couch. Her roommate came home. She went to bed. Her roommate came home. We started talking. We got a little something happening. The girl woke up the next day. She was furious. Really? Is your roommate bad or something? Jay! No wonder she's furious. It wasn't a date. I didn't think. What do you mean you didn't think? Just slay the other roommate. And how do you not think that that's a date? I saw this girl finally 10 years later. She was still mad. I bet. Yeah. How did you not think it was a date?
We were just friends. I mean, I was not interested. I never gave her that vibe. I never really showed her that attention. See, that's different, though. These two were like for a couple weeks. Yeah, they were almost married. If you're over someone's house enough to even get a vibe from their roommate, it means you're hanging out pretty frequently. I can get a vibe in 30 seconds. That's not what he said. He said every time. But I'm saying she didn't have to be there five days a week. You can get a vibe in two minutes and go. I think I want to slay that person. But that's not what he said on the phone. He didn't say, I'm Woods and I get a vibe in 30 seconds. But I did think he was kind of cavalier at the end there. Why would you put that in her face? That was just mean at the end. I was mean. Yeah. I thought you were being funny. Of course you did. I think he was probably like, well, this relationship's obviously over, so might as well have fun with it. Yeah, might as well have fun. Couldn't be funny to her, though. She sounded upset. She didn't care. 570-1949-949-mikey at gmail.com. When I was... I was considerably heavier and younger. I was working at a radio station when I very first came to San Diego. And there was this very, very attractive girl named Stephanie that worked at the radio station. And she was in a sorority. And I got it in my head that I could get her to go out with me. Now, when I tell you that I had no business going out with this girl, I mean I had no business. Scale. Eight and a half. Nice. You, scale.
Two. Solid two. Yeah. Solid. Solid. Not a one and a half. Hey, all right? Not a one and a half. Good solid two. A real solid two. Wow. So I said to her, I said to her real confidently, talking to her on the phone, I go, me and you are going to go see the Lion King. Yeah, you did, buddy. Oh, my God. I don't even like Disney. How much have you had to drink before you had to make that call? Lion King on ice. No, it was the movie. Oh, even better. The Lion King. Did you have to psych yourself up to that call? That's not you. Oh, I had to psych myself up. Oh, yeah. A couple cocktails. And so we went out, right? Only she didn't realize we went out on a date. Only I did. Friends. Yeah. She's the one that said, I have a friend for you. I have a friend I totally want to hook you up with. After you're out with her. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. On the date. So I'm already, no, I mean, this was like, you know, weeks after.
When I'm still dreaming about our marriage. Oh. That sucks. I'm like, one day we got married. That kills words. That kills them. And so she pulls out this. I'm over at her place and she goes, I want to say this friend. And you just. I was already brr, right? I'm already brr. And she pulls out these pictures of her really, really. chubby, overweight friend. And I'm like, and I was so mad. I bet. That I was like, why your chubby friend? And she goes, what? How dare you? How dare you say that? She's so pretty. She's so pretty. She's so pretty. She's so nice. I can't even believe it. Yeah. Yeah. And I was like, and I said to her, I go, If I looked like Brad Pitt, would you be saying you have the perfect girl for me and be showing me this girl right now? That is so wrong. That is so wrong. It's so wrong. Had you already convinced yourself that she was into you and all that stuff? Mm-hmm. Yeah, see? I imagine that I'd probably propose on the air in a helicopter. Yeah. You should have tried to do something on the date that she would have known.
You didn't even try to hold her hand or anything? No, I didn't. But she clearly wasn't into him. She wasn't into me. You took her to see The Lion King. That's the friendliest movie ever. It's just called... It's like that guy Jason. He was looking for signs that weren't there. Yep. Woods is judging eyes. If people could only see Woods' eyes pierce my soul. It's okay. I make up for it. I pierce his soul. Yeah, you pierce mine too. I do? Yeah, when I start to do that, when I go, all I do is go, so I go over there and shows me her chubby friend, and Lauren gives me one of these. Lauren's perfect. Yeah, really. I don't look at her anymore. I know it. This is my new bit. It'll kill you. She'll kill you with those daggers. This is my new bit. Four hours a day. Don't say stupid things, and I won't shoot daggers. Don't say perfect things. Mikey, Jasmine is a beating. They are not exclusive. If Tara is being flirty with a dude, ask her about it. Jason was asking for advice. Quit beating him up. M1 Chunk. There you go, Chunk. Agree with him. M1 Lush texted in and said, Jason is so in the wrong. He should not take the bait, people. There are sluts everywhere. It's not their responsibility to help him.
Be faithful. And I don't necessarily say that that girl was a slewzy. Yeah, who knows? I don't know that. I guarantee she was just like one of those very friendly people that get all close to you when they talk. That happen to be sexy. By the way, those girls that, I'm using finger quotes, that's just the way they are. Those girls, they know exactly what they're doing. They know exactly what they're up to. They know exactly what the rap on them is. They do it purposefully. And then they act all shocked. He thought I let him think that. I rub my boobs against everybody's back. Yeah, exactly. I talk like that to everybody. Yeah. I give everybody big giant hugs. I give everybody. Please, I sleep in bed with all of my friends. Right. Yeah, I sleep in bed with girls, too. It's just funny. It's funny. I wear my brown underwear. It's just like a bathing suit. Yeah. Who doesn't? It's just me being friendly. I love it. Really? You're so right. Women have all the freaking power, man. They have all the power. Write that down, please. They do. M1 Lush says, rule number one.
And this is, listen, this is the sad state of affairs as I read this text. M1 Lush says, rule number one, if your roommate's hotter than you, don't bring your boyfriend over. Duh. Don't live with her. Don't live with her. Right? Isn't that awful? That's the sad state of affairs. Woods has a look on his face like, spoken like a true person full of wisdom. Be confident in your own being. Of course. Like Mikey was. Yeah, like how that worked out for Mikey. Maybe don't bring creeps home. We're going to go to the Lion King. How did that work out for you, pal? You got set up with a softball player. She actually was a softball player, the one that she was trying to set me up with. I knew that story. I don't want to go out with your friend. I love you. I love you. I can't understand you. I love you. Take the hot dog out of your mouth. It's not a hot dog, my mouth. What is that? It's a Cornish game hand. Oh, actually, I think it's your tongue. Oh, wow. Oh, those are my tongue. Kills me. Obese Mike. M1 Josh says, as Mrs. The Kid would say, something's not the station. Mrs. The Kid is the greatest thing I've ever heard in my life. Mrs. The Kid, I love it.
Something smells suspicious. Yeah, something smells suspicious. Uh-huh. She's only talking about my armpits. That's right. Sure she is. Sure she is. Is she? Megan Fox. Oh, we do? Yeah, we got a break. Jay's like, thank you. The reason that lingerie store was going to be in trouble is because they're going to start, or they have to get a special permit. They're going to sell, like, edible underwear. They've got to have like a food license. They have to have a food license, yeah. Did I also say that I was going to tell people about Megan Fox? Not yet. I didn't? All right, I'll tell you about Megan Fox and the Transformers. It's kind of a big deal. Woods is all ears. I know, huh? Not all ears. I would not live with Megan Fox.
tell you that much. You would not. No way. Heck no. You guys, it shouldn't have to be like that. Unfortunately, it is. You can't bring anyone home if Megan Fox is a roommate. No way. Poor girl is all thumbs. That's a rumor. No, it's actually true. It's fact. It's true. Who cares about her? I think she's smelly. Who cares about her? She's got a thumb that points south-southwest. Who cares? Hammer thumb. Hammer thumb. Sit down for a few minutes while I educate your butt. Let your voice be How are these levels, friends? Call 570-1949. Or text 949mikey at gmail.com. Sounds like the kid. I just want to hear Mikey say it. That's right. You just missed me. I told Jamie that last night. I can't wait until he says Crop Duster. Mikey shows five people. I'm Mikey. That's Woods. That's Lauren. That's Sienna. And that's Jay over there. Let's see. Megan Fox. It's a deal with her in Transformers. She's been dropped. Really? From Transformers 3. Yeah, she's no longer part of the Transformers franchise. I think there was an issue with her being hard to work with. Yeah. A rep from Paramount confirmed that she won't be reprising her role as, I think it's Michaela. I've never saw Transformers. That's happened to a lot of actresses, man.
That's happened to a lot of actresses where they have the brightest future in the world. They're gorgeous, but the rap on them is. They're hard to work with. They don't work ever again. They could have been movie stars. It's like L.O.B. Have you seen Transformers, any of you? Did you see what she just shot you, dude? No, I'm not looking. Let me tell you. I would not look at her right now. Have any of you guys seen Transformers? She's very diva-like in the morning. Yeah. Where's my coffee? Michael Bay, who I believe is the director. There's been a history for a while that she, Megan Fox, and him didn't get along. They do not get along. Yeah. She ran some mouth about him. Mm-hmm. She sure did. And so Shia LaBeouf may be getting a new love interest. Well, there goes that movie franchise. She's not going to be as hot as Megan Fox. No kidding. Still waiting for someone to put my deodorant on for me. She's smelly. I'm not in on her at all. Megan Fox? I'm not. You're out of your mind. No, I'm not out of my mind. Look at her. She's just swarty.
Someone told me she looked like Marilyn Manson. I'm not sitting there, Joyce. But I like it. Jay. I like that there's a man out there that doesn't think she looks great. No. Yeah, so you're the one. She's just dirty. Mm-hmm. Really? So perfect. You guys believe that? What? You guys believe that Jay really doesn't think that she looks great? I do, actually. Yeah, I'm out. I swear. If I had a picture of her naked, would you look? Oh, I would always look at a naked picture. Even if Woods was naked, I would have to look. I just, like, you have to. Write that down. You'd be amazed. We have to have Jay working in the airport then with the body scanners. Yep. She's very attractive, man. She's so pretty. She's very attractive. And I read, you know, I heard this. I read it in, like, GQ or something. She's been with, like, two dudes. Yeah. She's not great. Brian Osley Green was one of them. Yeah. We talked about it on the show. Mikey Show, FM 94.9. I don't know if I buy that. She's very clean. She started off as a stripper. Grosswood's very clean, dude. Really? She did not. Yeah, she did. That's how she was discovered. Really? 90.99%. Which means he's just saying something. No, I swear. I'm going to look it up. I'm going to look it up. She's very clean. What are you going to look it up on? They.com? They told me. That's what they say. I said on Wikipedia that she was a stripper. No, I read that too. It was like two or three guys. Y'all, I know.
Megan Fox. No, you don't, Will. Yes, I do. You wish you did. You don't even know who she is, I bet. I know who she is. She's in the Transformers. I met her one time when I was skiing up in Napa. Skiing in Napa? Really? Not Napa, that place. Namath? No. Big Bear? No. Colorado? Yeah, that place. What's that luxury place? Vail? Aspen. Yeah, Vail. I met her at Vail. You and your mama take a little trip up there? Yes. A little ski trip with Mom. Maybe. Mom's a good skier, huh? Mm-hmm. Mom is just a good woman. You don't have to talk about her. Okay. You do all the time. You do all the time. Mrs. Handratty. I talk about her because I'm taking care of her. That's why we live together. Oh, is that right? I thought she was taking care of you. She packs her lunch. Lunchables. Capri Suns. Mm-hmm. Fruit Roll Loves. Oh, I love some Gushers. You all don't have to talk about everything that she does. Hey, by the way, Mikey, I saw the picture of Wheat Thicks on your MyFace page. You see that? It's Facebook. That's Facebook, Hoyle. And you're thinking of MySpace. I wouldn't know. I don't have one. I'm not a nerd. Maybe we make you one, Hoyle. I heard your mom wouldn't let you have one. Yeah, that's what I heard. No, I'm just not dorky. You got the parental controls on there? Mama does. Yeah.
What did I tell you about your all street cred? I told you that if you get street cred, people are going to like you. They like urbanicity. It's a good thing. True. Urbanicity. Gosh darn it. If you ain't going to listen to me, then you'll sure as you'd have to listen to Mr. Motown City Motown Jones himself. Who? Garrett. Garrett? Oh. That's right. Seattle. You know who I'm talking about? Yeah. Garrett, our program director. Yeah, Garrett. See, here's the deal, y'all. I know what the problem is with the Mikey show and you guys getting urban. Remember I told you y'all need to have street cred? We have street cred. You don't know what you're talking about. I do know what I'm talking about. You don't have enough street cred. We just played some hip hop not too long ago. That don't make you street just because you play it. Why not? You can have it on your iPod. Don't make you hard. What makes street cred? Street cred is developed when you don't just play one random song. You play a lot of songs. That's why I'm changing the format of FM 94.9. I don't think our listeners are going to like that. I don't give two poops what they care. You may want to. Well, I'm going to tell you something right now. I'm changing the format of the radio station to rap. No, you're not. What are we going to hear? Rap, hip-hop, hardcore stuff, man. It's all going to be the hardest of the hardcore gangsta. Full-on, F-bombs, the whole deal. Like what? I want an example.
Like the hard stuff, Al Jarreau, you know, all that, all that stuff. Jay-Z? Is that hard enough? Sure, we'll play that. No, that's not what it's about. It's all the stuff that Mama won't really let me listen to because it's too hardcore. Your Al Jarreaus, your boys to men, your baby face. That's not that hard. It's not hard at all, actually, yeah. She threw out all my cassette tapes, y'all, because it was all too hard. It sounds like smooth jams. It ain't smooth jams. It's hard. It's hardcore. And I talked to y'all's program director, Garrett. Sure you did. I did. What did he say? I talked to Garrett, and Garrett said that it's okay to change the format of FM 94.9 to hardcore. Oh, I don't believe for a second. I need to hear that from Garrett's mouth. Get him on the phone. All right. Don't you know his number? I got him. He's already on there. Yeah, I bet he is. He's probably mad. Can I talk to him? On his way in, I bet. Please do. Is that him on the line? Yeah. Garrett? It's Garrett. Garrett, is it all right if we change a radio station over to hardcore rap music? Detroit. Garrett, you need to answer, really. Is it all right if we just start playing the hardcore stuff? Philly. All right. Maybe the stuff just from Philly.
Yeah. What about if I just start putting some Tupac Shakur on the air? Is that all right? Seattle. All right. Y'all see, I told you. He's all right with it. Detroit. Okay. He's not saying anything. He's got Shannon. What if I just, if everything turns urban around here, we just start doing it up and we turn into a complete ethnic station. You all right with that, Garrett? Philly. All right. Maybe we just play rap from artists that are from these places. Detroit. Detroit. There's a lot of rappers in Detroit. Eminem. Barsky. Barsky. Barsky's Philly. Okay. Hey, Garrett. Detroit. I'm going to change my name. I'm now going to be known as Hoyle the Assassin. What do you think? Philly, Detroit, Seattle. Philly, Detroit, Seattle. Y'all are too white, man. I'm going to tell you right now. I'm going to have a come to Jesus talk with Mikey. I'm telling you. I'm going to teach him how to rap whore. Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly. Detroit, Seattle, Philly. Thank you, Garrett. Philly, Detroit. Wow. Is that all you're going to say, Garrett? You said it all right. Garrett.
He did not answer the question. It sounded like he was mad at the end. He just kept saying Philly over and over. Hoyle, that's not proof of anything. Hey, listen, y'all. It's proof of Garrett being in on it. He didn't say anything except Detroit, Philly, Seattle, Barsky. Philly, Philly. Scott Shannon. At the end, though, he was, like, mad. He was furious. I know when I get in trouble, he'll be like, Woods, Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly, Philly. I'm like, ah! I'm sorry, dude. Never again. Hey. Y'all mind if I rap? Hell no. Oh, yes, oil. Please? Hold on. Hold on. Let me take a breath. Oh, Gary. Let's kick this mother one time. Let's do it, oil. Oh, yeah. California. California. In the city of Compton. Down in good old Watts. You're a headline. Come on. Now let me welcome everybody to the, hello? You're early? Just give me a second. There you go, it's coming up. I got ahead of myself, I'm ready now. You ready, Hoyle? Now let me welcome everybody to the wild, wild west. To say that's untouchable like Elliot Nance. The time hits you, you're like a slugged in the chairs. And Pat's going to be in the chairs. What are y'all doing? What? Keep going. No, stop. Y'all.
Did you like it so far? I told y'all. Oh, man. I told y'all. What were you doing with your voice? I'm so okay with your rap skills. That was legit. That was good. I'm going to bring in a new rap song every week for Hoyle to rap. Hoyle, I think that sounded great. I told y'all I don't even have any other one. Man, I'm crazy. I'm crazy. Disgusting. Hoyle the assassin. Just get them. My stomach hurts. My stomach hurts bad. Holy cow. What? That's my new heart.
If I'm going to do rap, man, I got to have a new horn. Holy crap. That is the biggest horn I've ever seen. That's rap. Oh, God. Oh, God. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. Even my baby's laughing. Even my baby's laughing. My stomach is moving. Holy cow, man. What is that thing? Fantastic. Well, that's practically... That's right. That sounds like an elephant fart. It does. Holy cow. Oh, it hurts.
What the heck? That's the greatest. Thank you, Boyle. You're really something else. Unbelievable. I feel sick. It hurts. I'm in pain. Cover your mouth, bud. Let's change gears. Really? Yes! You ready for a haiku? Yes! And now it's time for a Mikey show haiku. The kid hates the socks. He'd like to burn down Fenway. Big Poppy is fat. Did you just refer to yourself as Big Poppy? No, baseball player. That's right. Now it's time for a Mikey show haiku. Jugs, jugs, jugs, jugs, jugs. Galloping in her bloodline. Wow. Her child will be fed. The kid's slaying it. Do we need to remind people what a haiku is? Five syllables? Five syllables, seven syllables, five syllables. Jugs, jugs, jugs, jugs. Really? That says it all right there. Her child will be fed. Oh my gosh. That's phenomenal. What the heck?
That was fantastic. That's all? Just the two haikus? Oh, we got more. You know that. You just wait. You gotta tease you real good. When we come back, possibly the filthiest vending machine ever. I don't mean dirty. I mean just who would eat this out of a vending machine is next. This is The Mikey Show, FM 94.9. And do it all again. It's PJ Harvey. We should have just signed off for the day. I've been like, that's it. That's it. We're out. We're done. High note. We're done. Little PJ Harvey, the mess we're in. Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show. You can call us at 570-1949 or... You can text us if you want. The text is 949mikey at gmail dot com. That was fun. Tell me what this new vending machine is all about, Sienna. You sure you want to know? So gross. You sure you want to know? Some people will be in on it. Apparently they are. It's so the filthiest thing I've ever heard. And it's not in this country, by the way. Grosser than having White Castle like we do. Dude, I'm telling you, White Castle.
frozen in a refrigerated, frozen vending machine. To me, that's great. And comparatively, this is in Russia. Yeah, Moscow. Moscow. They've put these things in. It's at the government office. Go ahead, Sienna. It's a vending machine that's just been installed. It's filled with caviar. Oh. Caviar. Fish eggs out of a machine. Out of a machine. Yeah. No, forget the chocolate bars. Forget the chips. You're going to be eating some caviar if you go to this government office in Moscow. You want to know how much it costs? How much? You can get a can, a 100-gram can costing $5. You've got to put a pair of jeans in there because that's what they trade for bread. You've got to put 501s. You've got to put Levi's into the machine and it'll give you. Or you can get a 350 gram can for $22. And the government officials, especially women, were so stoked on this new caviar machine that the high demand actually broke the machine within two days because everyone was all aboard the caviar machine. Disgusting. They loved it. Gross. And so now because it's such a hit, they're going to be installed in more places. You're a foodie. Do you like caviar? Dude, it's the most disgusting, vile, vile. It's vile. It's gross. I've never had it either.
Mom! I want some caviar! At our family dinners, you better believe that there's caviar there. Do they? Write that down. Write that down. Write that down. Oh my gosh. Do you like it? I've never had it. I refuse. You want to try it? No. Oh, it's like little black salt eggs. I've seen them. They're gross. Yeah. It tastes like salty fish. Salty little fish eggs. It's out of a machine. My mom has like crackers and it's some like white sauce and then you put them on top. So good. It's bait. You like him, Jay? I love it, yeah. Jay. Of course Jay does. He likes the fishy stuff. Salty, fishy. He makes his own. He makes his own. Yeah, but Jay does like, he'll eat like sardines. Anchovies. Give me a good sardine any day. Yeah. You eat anchovies? Anchovies. Love anchovies on my pizza. That's how my dad is too. Let me tell you. I remember one time in high school, I was dating a girl and she liked anchovies. The only reason she liked anchovies. was because she was a big fan of Deidre Hall from Days of Our Lives. And she read everything about Deidre Hall. Deidre Hall liked anchovies, so she got it one time. I'm like, please don't, please don't, please don't, please don't. She ordered a pizza, got it on half of there, and the oil from it dripped into my part of the pizza. Ew. Into your sausage and hamburger and pepperoni side. It's ruined. It's ruined. Meat lover. So gross. New York style. Supreme.
I do like them on the side because you only take a little bit at a time. Mike's like, I just said, my side of the pizza, guys. You'd have to filet me. Yes, more haiku. Now it's time for a Mikey Show Haiku. He likes hush puppies, or so he has said before. Grow up, Peter Pan. I love these because nobody gets to hear them but me. That's Jay. That's Jay. Now it's time for a Mikey show haiku. She'll drink douche water and tell you that it's healthy. I think she's nuts. Douche water. Floaters. Now it's time for a Mikey show haiku. Was strange around girls. He once built a house of cards. How did he marry?
Rebecca right now is like, I don't know. Oh, my gosh. How did he marry? How did he marry? Once built a house of cards. Nicely done, Woodsers. Oh, wow. I want to hear him again and again. Maybe play Sienna's one more time. That's the one I need to hear again. And now it's time for a Mikey Show haiku. Jugs, jugs, jugs, jugs, jugs. Galloping in her bloodline. Her child will be fed. Wow. My baby will be fed real good. Real good. Wow. Baby's like, I'm full. I'm full. Even the baby's eating for two. No kidding. She and all the other neighborhood babies. There's nothing cuter than a chubby baby. That's right. Let's see. How did he marry?
How did he marry? How did he marry? That is so mean. You're thinking? You're unbelievable. I know. Let's see. Okay, so I got to read you Sienna's recap today. Sienna says, Yesterday, after lunch, went home, caught up on the best show ever, Grey's Anatomy. Love it. Oh, boy. Had to get caught up because the finale's on tonight. Is it? You know that. Two hours. And she says that she had the last episode DVR. It says she climbed into bed, turned it on. She liked it so much that she watched it twice. Wow. I did. My goodness. I did. She really liked it. It was so sweet. It was the sweetest episode because there was these two older.
people that were brought into the hospital separately and they saw each other in the hospital and it turned out that they knew each other 50 years ago and there was love and then she lived on the east coast but was in Seattle for some reason I didn't even see it coming And then they saw each other and their significant others had died because they were older. And then she moved from across the East Coast to be with him. Totally believable. After 50 years. Totally believable. Happens all the time. It is. If I had a dime for every time I heard that story. You'd have one dime. I'd have like 50 cents. My grandma has a similar story. Does she? Yeah, she and who she's married with, my step-grandpa. They were dating in college. And then they'd gone separate ways and then they met like... 12 years ago. Found each other on Facebook. Uh-huh. And now they're married. They reunited on Flickr. No. Flickr. Isn't that like a photo sharing site? Can I just believe that it happens? Okay? Can I just believe? You can. You and my wife can believe it, but you're going to have me and Woods sitting there going, totally believable. Todd does it all day long. Not possible. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Really? Edna. Edna. Edgar? Is that you? Hang on, man.
I think that's me. Are you Edgar Walters? Yes. Yeah. You're Edna. So I'm told. Did you grow up in Brooklyn? Are you British? I'm not British. You know that. I did grow up in Brooklyn. So did I. Did me and you make love behind a coal mining plant? 1924. What a summer, eh? Summer of love. Wasn't that the year that I took you to see the talkies for the first time? Correct. Charlie Chaplin. Yeah, Little Tramp. The Little Tramp. Eating that spaghetti. That was my nickname in high school.
That's Edna right. What are you doing here, you old tramp? I'm getting a corn removed. Say again. I'm getting a corn removed. Here at the Seattle... Seattle? Seattle Hospital. I have three corns on my foot. Well, look at you. Congratulations. Thank you. What are you saying we go get a maltism? Do it. Thought about it and I'm here. Oh, God. That is a gorgeous story. It's beautiful. Yeah, it's gorgeous. We forgot halfway through which one was the woman. Which one was British. Like, I don't know why she was British. Which one was Johnny Depp? That show, I'm telling you, that show is just... What do you call it? Emotional larceny? It's emotional terrorism. Terrorism. Larceny. Larceny terrorism. Gorgeous show. It's emotional terrorism. Every episode is so unbelievably unbelievable. Yeah. I'm like, really, babe? That's going to happen? I go, yeah. You know why? Because doctors, they all look like him and her. They're so hot. Everyone on the show. Everybody on the show is really good looking. So dreamy and steamy. Yeah. Really?
And the stuff that they do on there is like, that's going to happen. It could. Tree boy. Really? Tree boy. Yeah, the stuff that happens there, like maybe it could happen once in like five years to a hospital, but it happens every episode. Every week. Yeah. They're like, really? Guy's turning into a tree again. Yeah, every episode and from scene to scene. Yeah. Vampires running around. It's so funny, too, because when you watch my wife, Rebecca, while she watches it, she's studying it. Oh, me too. Oh, she just, like, there is nothing that just captivates her more than the music, the actors, the story. And you'll hear her, you know, you'll see the bottom chin start to do the other thing. It'll start to do the Grey's Anatomy thing. And I'm like, oh. I didn't think the show was going to survive after Katherine Heigl. And it went down a little bit, but now it's back up, and it's good. And the finale tonight is two hours, and it's going to be amazing. It's probably because she was a huge bee, and everybody hated her anyway, didn't they? Yeah, I think so. She has a kid now, so. I'm such an idiot, too, because I'll be there on my laptop. Weird. Weird. Naked. Riding oil lines with woods. Right. And she's watching Grey's Anatomy, and it's on in the background, and I'll find myself going,
So what's the deal? Why is he acting with that guy? Yeah. But because I get, I like, I need to know. I need to know. And I go, so what's the deal? And she goes, shut up. Yeah, she doesn't say anything for a second. And then she goes, he's not, he's not sure if he wants to be with her. And I go, why? And she goes, hang on, hang on. You're so annoying. I'll explain it at the commercial. I'll explain it at the commercial. It's too complicated. It's really, it's like such a long story. You're such a bigger man than I that you even, I'm like. Like, I'm such a D. I woke up from a nap yesterday. Jamie was watching CSI. Yeah. I literally woke up from the nap, grabbed the remote, put on the A. Oh, my God. So rude. I'm such a jerk. She just made you a plate full of Hello Dollys. But I want to be with her in the same room. I just don't want to watch garbage. Why don't you get another TV? Todd does that. So we'll have two TVs in the same room? No, we'll go to a different room. Yeah, but I don't want to be with her. Keep checking in on the commercials. No, but I want to be with her. I'll hear this dynamic going on where I'm like, why is he talking to her like that? Babe, what's the deal? He's not sure if he wants to be with her. Shut up. Well, why? What's the deal? Because they were with each other. I'll tell you later. Well, who's that other girl? Who's the blonde girl at the door? You're such a jerk. She's this girl that the other girl doesn't know about. She's an intern. She's an intern. I don't like any of the interns. Mikey, you do that? Dude, I can't help it. I hate it, but I'm still asking questions. That's such a guy thing to do. Shoes on the other foot.
You're watching the Chargers. And she's like, why do they have that on their helmet? Why does that guy have a mouthpiece in? Why does that guy have knee pads on? Why does he throw the ball there? How did they run? How did he get injured? How did he get hurt? Why is he hurt? He didn't look hurt. Would you blow your head off? You just made me realize that I'm way more of a D to her while she's watching TV than she ever, because she doesn't do that. Yep. Yeah. Wow. Really teaching me a lesson right now. Thanks, man. Love. It's a good thing we had this music in the background. It might not have sunk in. Wow. It's very powerful. Camera's zooming in right now. You're really teaching me something powerful. But I learned everything I know from you. Dude. The teacher. Thank you. The student has taught the teacher. Frankie, why did you get in here? I've been sitting on his lap the whole time, man. And this girl just had her little review with her bosses. She had two of the corporate women on the phone and sitting with her boss on a conference call. 58132. Is that her? Yeah. Just hold on. She had her employee performance review on May 14th where she was put on weight probation in order to slim down if she wanted to keep her job. If there's any Hooters girls listening right now, call me and tell me if there's any requirement of you. Well, this girl. Or if you've ever worked at Hooters. Call me and tell me if you know of any requirements or criteria that you must fall within. Or if you have big hooters, you can just call in. Crickets. Damn it. I think you get a cricket bit. Really? Well, this girl, Cassie. After she was told that, she obviously freaked out. She said she was completely heartbroken and humiliated. And during her review, they told her what a great job she does. She received high marks for customer satisfaction. I was just going to say it. But you're a little chunky. She's not chunky. I'm 5'8". She's 20 years old. 97 pounds. No. She claims that she gained 10 pounds since she started working there. 10 pounds.
won't tell us how much she weighs. Yeah, I realized I just walked into a trap when I opened my big fat mouth. When she went, it's not far off what that girl weighs. By far off, you mean 20 pounds? Nope. Lauren weighs 123 pounds. No way. She's a 116. She's 116. On the air. She's 116. Don't do that. She's 114. It doesn't matter what you guess. It's always going to be like, really? Something's going to be wrong with it. 120. So anyway, can I see the picture of that girl? Mikey, how stoked are you they don't have weight probation here? Because me and you would be out of a job. It'd be the Sienna, Lauren, and Jay show. Okay, so the two women from the company headquarters and her boss joined via conference call, told her she had 30 days to slim down or she was going to lose her job. She's 20 years old. And let me just tell you, she wears the extra small shirt size. And what she also said was the sizes in the Hooters shirts that they sell are... Extra small, small, and double extra small. That's all there is. Wow. M1 Moose from National City. Hey, what's going on, man? What's up? Did you work at Hooters? No, I didn't. Well, thanks, but no. I was traveling throughout the country, and I was in Gulfport, Mississippi this time last year. And then I went to pregnant Hooters girl. And I'm not talking like most pregnant. I'm talking like eight and a half months pregnant. We can't fire her.
Wow. You know what I mean? Yeah, but I mean, what I thought, I was like, well, maybe she can be a hostess or something. Yeah. She was straight up a Hooters girl and was wearing the tight shorts, that small shirt, and it was crazy. I couldn't believe that she was actually serving guys there. That's amazing. Yeah. We don't have one Hooters girl calling right now. Thank you, Moose. Isn't that against the law? Well, I guess not. I mean, I guess it can be implied, but I don't know if you can say that. Well, the Hooters Corporation has spoken out and they said, we will not make any comment on a current employee except to say that no employee in Michigan has been counseled about their weight. However, we will say that our practice of upholding an image standard based on appearance, attitude, and fitness for Hooters girls is both legal and fair. They also pointed out, I read, I was reading about this online. Which means they don't want overweight girls. And that's their prerogative, right? Well, they've got a certain, they have to have a certain criteria. Like, I couldn't be a Hooters girl. Yes, you could. No, I could. Yes, you could. I don't have big enough, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter, you still could. I still have a girl that was very flat chested, worked at Hooters. Imagine if Garrett, Garrett did call me last night and he goes, hey, Woods. Philly. He goes, hey, Chubbs.
I'm going to need you to bring it by the office, Mom. I'm going to need you to weigh in every day. You need to drop about 25. No one will be employed in radio. You're out in your can, pal. Well, here's the deal. If there was a place called Abs, I'm not getting hired there. Me neither. And I shouldn't. Exactly. Well, that was my point. Yeah, but no, no, no, no. The deal is, is that if I was in really, really great shape and maybe I didn't have like... six-pack abs, I'd probably still get hired at abs if I was in really, really great shape. But I know what Woods is talking about. I've seen that at Hooters, where girls don't have big Hooters, but they work at Hooters. I always get the flat girl waitress at Hooters. You have a tough life, Woods. M1 Red from Oceanside? Hello. Hello. So you worked for Hooters? I did it in college, yeah. And was there a deal where you had to weigh a certain thing or any of that stuff? Yeah, well... Like I said, I was really, really athletic. So if I didn't, like, if they had a gripe about it, they would put me on a scale. I would go over the scale. And I'm like, but my body mass index beats all y'all, you know? So I actually got a pass by being measured. But they would actually put you on a scale. They would actually put me on a scale. Wow. There was a scale at the store, at the restaurant. There was a scale, like, in the back room.
Well, in the dressing room because they didn't, like, we weren't allowed to walk in or out of the building in our Hooters chair. Wait, there's a dressing room at Hooters? Didn't know. They do like little shows. This was in Virginia Beach. And, I mean, the other thing about it, too, that was kind of crazy is, okay, so they measured me, but, I mean, there were girls that looked like straight crack monkeys, okay? And I'm not trying to be rude, but, I mean, they, I mean, anorexic, flat chested, whatever the name of the place is, Hooters. But I, you know, busty, curvy build, tight body. And I would get flack because of my weight, because of the way, this was 10 years ago, but I mean, because of the way their stuff was written. So they had to measure me because I did, I complained about it. I'm like, I can, and I wasn't being cocky, but I mean, I was all about my game at the time. And I'm like, I can totally, totally outperform any of you. And so it sounds like their deal was more about weight than it was about Hooters. Well, more about weight, more about some Barbie skinny image. I mean, you know, I was stacked. Maybe just email us a picture. Let us check it out. Come on. So they had certain measurements for criteria. Yeah, there's actually a Greek standard of the perfect body. And you have to fall within an inch. Ten years ago in Vaughn Beach.
You had to fall within an inch and a half of that on any of your busts. What is it? The Hooters people also said in a statement that their standards that they go by is pretty much just like the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and the Radio City of Music Hall Rockettes. Red? Pretty much. Red. Do you remember what that Greek deal was? Yes, your bust and your hips should be 10 inches larger than your waist. So if you had a 22-inch waist, you had to have a 32-inch chest. Right. And you're, well, and I almost, this is another hilarious thing. I almost didn't get hired because I'm petite. And they don't want petite girls? Apparently, no. Now, petite means short and thin. Yes. Yeah. Wow. What an education. I mean, it was mad, mad, mad crazy money. And it paid for every textbook I ever needed during college. I'm not saying that. But it was, I mean. especially for somebody who knew that I was, you know, I mean, I was okay, you know, but it'll twist you up. Like, I trimmed my hair, and they said I trimmed my hair too much. Wow. So they're going for uniformity, it sounds like. I mean, that's what they... No, I mean, it's really a standard. I mean, your bosses will even tell you, you know, would Hugh Hefner look at you twice? I mean, stuff like that. I am very, very proud to say that I still fit into my little orange Hooters shorts.
Really proud of that. Anyway, that's all I have to say. Thank you, Red. Thanks, Red. Appreciate it. Surprised. Yeah, there it is. Learning things that I did not know all the time. Let's see. Hi, Hillary. How you doing? Hi, Hill. What are you up to? What do you got coming up? Yeah, don't even get me started on the Hooters. Oh, wow. Something going on there. What's going on there, Hillary? Are they one of our advertisers? I don't know. Yeah, I know. I don't want to have to call you back into the office later, right? I don't even know. Delicious hot wings. You know what we'll do? We'll find out off the road what your thoughts are. Delicious. Yeah, exactly. You got some thoughts. Might take me a while. I'm going to play New Black Keys, New Dead Weather, some Spoon, some Madness. Nice. All kinds of good stuff. And I'm still picking stuff off the wall. So, you know, people can call with requests. Very nice. New Devo, too. New Devo. Whoa, whoa, whoa. What happened? There we go. All right. Lovely and talented Hillary's up next. And the Mikey Show will be back tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. We are out late. A Lincoln Financial radio station. Mikey in the morning. About the music all day and night. FM 94.9. It's about the music.
