to the program. Oh, wow. Everyone is wearing... Oh, my gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, wow. Everybody is wearing sombreros and I'm going to take a wild guess here that the sombreros are... They have to do with the fact that I am Hispanic in nature. It's... Yes, it is. Oh, that is so sweet. Can you put that over my headphones? There we go. Yes. Nice. All right. I have on a sombrero over my headphones. You like usual. So, how is this different from any other day? It's a different color. Yeah. Woods is putting his on. We've all got sombreros on. I love it. This is freaking fantastic. It's great. What's come about? Somebody's like, this seems like a good idea. My guess is to keep the sun out while you were doing, you know.
migrant work, you know? Seriously. Well, at the time, you were a migrant. Yeah, I could collect water. My dad wears one of these like every weekend. Yeah. He's outside. He loves it. You're kidding. He loves it. I got one for that purpose, but then one time went out to work in it and realized like, I'm just playing into this so much. I can't. I'm playing into it so much. I got a visualization of myself and thought, oh, wow, I'm in a sombrero. Do you have any pictures of that? I don't. I don't. I feel like if I rode a burrow. Just down to 7-Eleven. I'm just riding a burrow to 7-Eleven and I'm like, am I really doing this? That poor burrow. Oh, Jay. Ouch. Ouch. He will get you. He sure will. He'll just get you with that stuff. Let's see. Welcome to the program. We are ready to go. This is all I can tell you. All I can tell you is that Woods and Jay had a very long night. Woods is limping. We can't tell you why. We will be able to tell you at some point, but they are not allowed to say. I don't know what we've said before.
If you have a good memory, you'll know what that's about. Yes. But Jay is... Jay's looking good, and Woods is a little beat up. Woods got beat up, man. He's beat up. He's gay. Oh, Woodsie. No, no, Woodsie. He just threw off his own headphones. What is that, Jay? It's... That's fantastic. I don't know what it is. I don't know how it came about. My brother found it from a show called Do Stupid Dogs. It goes on. There's longer ones, too. That's great. Just that's perfect. Just that. That's pretty good. It's perfect. It hurts so good. Much of blood. Thanks for that, Jay. Yeah, I think I did something to my ankle. It really, really hurts, and there's a ball coming out of the side of it. Never happened to me before. I think that you should continue to put ice on it. You think ice is it? Ice and elevation. You think ice and elevation? You don't think it's like broken or anything? Well, there's a couple things. I don't think it's broken because you can move it. In fact, you ran on it a minute ago. I limped ran on it. Sorry, you jogged on it. I limped jogged. You didn't run. You didn't sprint, but you run. I limped jogged. There's a couple things. Ibuprofen stops swelling, and that's swollen.
So you need some Advil. We'll send Chris out to get some Advil. And you need ice. I hope it's broken. I hope it's broken. I don't think it's broken. I just hope something's seriously wrong with my foot. Because I want to come back here and be like, no. I don't think that's going to be the case. I don't either. I wish we could help you there. Let me introduce everybody. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 40 and 41 on Tuesday. Woodsy is our sports guy. You're in your mid-40s. I'm not in my mid-40s. I'm in my early 40s. You're in your 40s. 44, I'm in my mid-40s. 44, 45, 46. At 46, you'll be your late 40s. No. Oh, yeah. No, you're in your mid. No, late. Because you're on the down slope of the mids. So you're in your late. You're technically in your mid, but we'll make you feel bad about yourself by saying late. Okay, fine. If that's true, that means 44 is your early 40s. If that logic works the same.
I'm on the other side of the slope. Actually, it's 40 to 43 is your early. 44 and 45 are your mids. And anything after 45 is your late. All right. So feast on that. All right. You know, just going to try to have pretty skin. Do the whole thing, you know. Embrace it. Try to have nice skin. Jay's in his late hundreds and he has a good attitude. He does. Pretty skin. Woodsy is our sports guy. And he's a big Yankee fan. You're a fat. Oh, gosh. Apparently, Jay's got a lot of new little toys. Jay's got some new toys. I just watched him mouth the words to that as well. Maybe Jay actually said it, and that's the deal. Let me hear it again. You're a fat. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. That's from my kid, Jasper. Even he knows you're a fat lord. Yeah, he is looking at your Facebook page, and I just rolled tape. Hillary sent me that. Hey, use this for Woods. She did. Kick ass. Oh, my gosh. Oh, boy. Lauren O'Brien is our assistant producer, otherwise known as L.O.B. You're just going to leave that intro with your fat? You're just going to leave that there? I said you're Yankee fan. Yeah, that was before that. Covers it. Just leave it there. Yankee fan, our sports guy, good friend. Fat. Handsome. Fat. Fat. And I love him. Love Woodsy. L.O.B. L.O.B. is it?
our resident stand-up comedian. She is our assistant producer, and she's got on a sombrero. So does Sienna, who's our news girl, 26 years of age. And she's got very pretty sisters. She does. Oh, boy. My husband would agree with what Jay's thinking. Sisters look real good. The twins. Twins. What's up with you introducing my sisters the last couple mornings? Well, they've been a topic of conversation. Yes, off the air. Not by me, FYI. Hey, Wavy. Please. Come on. Hey, what? Don't poke the tiger. Don't poke the tiger. I do have to pull the curtain back. I have to pull the curtain back. Yes, you do. Sure. Because we made an agreement, but I'm going to explain what the agreement was. There were a couple of things that were made fun of with Woods and me, and we made an agreement. The Monday after Thanksgiving, it is acceptable to make fun of these things again. And we get a short window of time. We get between the Monday after Thanksgiving that we're back and the time we go on vacation for Christmas. And here were what those things were. For me, you can't make fun of me until the Monday after Thanksgiving for the fact that when I was in my young 20s and obese, I wrote a series of letters.
Lauren's holding them up right now for our audience. There they are. I wrote a series of letters to a girl that lived in Rochester, New York that I saw at a record store. She's still holding up more of them. And I was obese and I didn't have the guts to say anything to her face. So what I did was I went back into a recording studio because I was a DJ and I recorded a tape to her. And put music on it and everything, and I left it at the record store with my phone number. Well, she liked it, called me, didn't know what I looked like, you know? Obviously. She heard these smooth pipes, you know, and she thought, oh, wow. Jackpot. Jackpot. I just won the jackpot. This guy has all this savvy to put together this amazing tape. Listen to that voice. Well, then we met. Well, she still thought I was a nice guy. You know, what I am or what I was at the time was I was BFF. All right. Big fat friend. Now, here's the thing. So girls, they wanted to be my friend. They didn't necessarily want to kiss, but they did want to be friends. And so we maintained a friendship. Well, I obviously liked her. Right. And I wrote her a series of letters. Yes.
We read them during our Mike-ethon. And it was mortifying for me. Mortifying. To say the least, one of the most difficult things I've ever been through. And it was so difficult that I said, listen, we can't do this again. We can't do it until the Monday after Thanksgiving. For Woods, the thing that we cannot make fun of until the Monday after Thanksgiving is the fact that... He went out to do a series of interviews, and he found a girl that was very young named Taylor. What's your name? No, we can't play it. We can't play it. No, no, no, no. We can't play it. It's null and void now. We can't play it. It's done. We can't play it. We agreed we would not play it. Now, just for context, what it was was Woods. talking to a girl, interviewing her. And what I found interesting about it, observationally, was that he seemed to cater his personality, voice, inflection, and everything to this young woman. Yeah, big time. 19-year-old woman. He seemed to change. He seemed to alter his personality and the way that he spoke. And we found...
Great humor in that. Great humor. For hours. Hours of entertainment. What was embarrassing for Woods was hearing this played back over and over again and hearing his voice change and us mocking it and pointing it out. And so we agreed, okay, Monday after Thanksgiving. However, I do not, Sienna, I do not recall making any agreement about Sienna's sister, Waverly. It's part of the bit. It's not. I just made it part of the bit. Okay, yeah. You're rewriting history. You know, it makes my wife very uncomfortable, so that's kind of the rule. If it makes the spouses uncomfortable. If it makes the spouses uncomfortable, that's a Mikey Show 101 rule. Really? You can't just throw that around out there. That's a rule, huh? Yeah, really. You know why Jay's saying that? Why? Because Jay... told us something that made his wife uncomfortable. Approximately 44 hours later, you used it on the air. Yeah. Approximately. I said it one time, right? Yes, but it was a mistake, I believe. It was a mistake. I believe he did it on a mistake. It was a mistake. Yes. Should Jay and I just fight? No. Well, you guys have been through a hard night together. Hard-fought night together. You guys have been through a hard-fought night together. Well, you bring a bat.
If he brings a bet, I'm bringing a knife. No, no, no. Listen. He better kill me. Listen. He better. I'm telling you right now, I will not allow it. It'd be pretty easy. I will not allow it. Now, Woods, you've got to talk me through this. It makes Jamie really uncomfortable, so. I just really, I just. I just really not want to do it because of the way it makes her feel. Right. Don't put her on the spot. I'm not. You know, it really bothers her when her 35-year-old husband creeps on a 16-year-old girl. It bothers her. It's weird. We can get her on the line and see if she appreciates our humorous take on it. She's probably sleeping. She's asleep. She was taking care of me at night. Well, then we're probably good to do it. No, but we don't want to. If she's asleep. I want to respect her wishes. But if she's asleep, why are you smiling? Why are you smiling? I'm not. You are. That's part of marriage, dude. But you're smiling. You've got to respect your spouse's bit. See, I suspect it's that you don't want to go through the humiliation of us doing the bit. Oh, no, no, no. Which did embarrass you. It did embarrass you. Oh, yeah. It's embarrassing. Being accused of being a pedophile is always embarrassing. It's not. It's always embarrassing. You didn't do anything. It's always embarrassing. Listen. But. I'm going to put. I'll say it right now. I'll say it right now. Sienna's. How old is she? She just turned 16 last month. God.
She's maybe one of the most beautiful girls any guy's ever seen. 16 or not, she's beautiful. She is. Now, we're not talking about Woods doing anything with her. What we do, the joke is that she's so pretty that Woods reverts to being like a 17-year-old to try to impress her. Hey, baby. Come on, Woods. Fine, have at it. If we're going to do it, let's do it right. One day I invited Sienna to breakfast and she brought Waverly. And when I opened the door, I was like, oh my God, what's she doing here? Why is she here? You're not telling the story correctly. I'm not? I texted you that Wavy was coming. Oh yeah, that's right. And he responded with something like he was nervous. He responded with a guitar solo. I was wondering why you came outside when we pulled up playing the guitar. Yeah, it was weird. It was my shirt on. It was very strange. Did she throw up? Jay is going to take every opportunity. I need another undershirt because I'm sweating through this one already. And I'm not kidding. Let's do some nudes. Hey, what are you doing? Nothing. What's up, Woods? Nothing. Hey, you want to go get breakfast or what?
breakfast right now? Yeah, I mean, it's 12. I don't get brunch. I don't care. Brunch is dorky. I won't do it. I don't have to do brunch. Brunch is dorky. Like, whatever. Hey, have you seen Twilight? Yeah. Are you a believer? A what? A believer. What's that? It's people that are into Justin Bieber. Is he dumb? I think he's dumb. I don't know if he's dumb. If he's cool, I'll be into it. I don't really like Justin Bieber. I don't either. It's so dumb. He's so lame. You know what? Gosh. Hey, do you want bourbon or something? Bourbon? Yeah, I can get alcohol. I can buy it. I'm 16. I don't like bourbon. I know. What do you like? Bartles and James? I don't know. I like Capri Sun. Okay, fine. Yeah, me too. I'd slam it all the time. Slam it? Is that right? I don't know. Slam it. So that's the joke. The joke is Woods trying to be young and, you know, what do 16-year-olds think is cool? And he changes his voice, you know, because he wants to sound like a teenager. Mike and I did a, we were talking on the phone, and I go, imagine this, Sienna and Waverly pull up. I'm on the front porch.
With my feet up, drinking a beer, smoking a cigarette, just playing songs. Oh, hey, Wade. I didn't know you were coming. What are you doing here? Yeah, I drink beer because I'm over 21. So if you and your friends are needing anything, just call me. I can do that for you. I rent this place on my own. Yeah, I rent. I pay for everything here. It's my own place. It's a big house. It's a pretty big house. Yeah. You can see. It's pretty rad. When I got it, we wanted to make sure it was cool for parties. I love to party. Yeah. I like to have kegs and stuff. So I don't know. I can buy them and rent them or whatever. I can buy keg every day if I want it. Yeah. And I can afford it, too. I can accept a job with money. Do you know I'm on the radio? Do you need concert tickets? Well, of course you know I'm on the radio. I work with your sister, so whatever. I have a tie collection. Oh, yeah, but that's not cool. Sorry. No, that's the greatest. That's a good bit. That's fun. Have you seen 16 and Pregnant? It's so lame. 570. She likes Glee Woods. 1949. Oh, my gosh. Are you Glee? Save that one. Mark that. M1 Monkey Man from San Diego. How are you? I'm doing wonderful, guys. How are you this morning? Good. I just called to wish everybody a happy Friday. Say good morning to everybody. And by the way, Mikey, happy early birthday if I don't talk to you on Tuesday. Thank you, buddy. I appreciate that. All righty. Thank you. M1 Oscar from IB. It's going good. How you doing? Hey, Mike.
I don't know if you noticed this. I'm pretty sure you noticed this, but I found out that there's actually a Tommy Bahama furniture line. Oh. You should see his face. Have you seen his guest room? Hello. What do you think he's sitting on right now? Sitting on an office chair. My face is emotionless, and I don't wear Tommy Bahama. Your jaw just hit your chest. No, this whole board is Tommy Bahama. You notice there's like tiny little palm trees in the green. There are no palm trees in the green. I don't wear Tommy Bomb. You know him personally. He is a good friend and a lover. Wow. The mouse that Mikey uses is actually half of a cookie. Oh, boy. Thank you, Oscar, for starting a fire. Hey, Mikey, one last thing. Yeah. Boom goes the dynamite. Dang. Thank you. And boom goes the dynamite. Is this the Oscar that posts in all caps on the Facebook fan page? Sometimes. All caps. You're now M1 all caps. When you call in, I want you to be M1 all caps. Thank you, Oscar. We love you. Thank you. He puts the strangest things about me. He does. Yes.
He really likes the Tommy Bahama bit, but he also really likes the fat bit. So he'll go to like pictures of me that are normal and he'll be like, look at how fat Mikey is. And I'm like, oh, she kind of got understood how, you know, it kind of stings if it's not from anyone. Well, it would be fine, but it's just got to be you got to put it in a joke form, you know, joke with it. You know, don't just necessarily come out and just, you know. Verbally murder. Verbally murder. Assault. So we're going to do something this morning at 8 o'clock that we've never done before. It's called Memento Trivia, okay? Now, here's how it works. There's a movie called Memento about a guy that can't remember anything. In fact, he is so lost in his memory. He's got this condition that he has to take pictures of people with a Polaroid camera and write the name of them down so that he can remember who they are. He also writes and puts tattoos on himself. You know, he writes in ink and he tattoos things on himself to remind himself of what's going on. Well, I have always been teased.
For being memento. It's true. I can't remember anything. Well, I've always given Jay a hard time. I said, Jay can't either. But Jay says, you're out of your mind, Demi. I can remember everything. I don't need any hip. You're the one that needs a hip. I don't need no hip with that. So, today we're doing memento trivia. Now, Woods and Sienna and L.O.B. have written questions about the Mikey Show. Okay? And Jay and I are going to be asked these questions. We're going to use our name as a buzzer. OK, so if we know the answer to it, we yell our name out. If we get it wrong, we will be shocked with a dog collar that I purchased for large dogs. Doesn't feel good. No, it doesn't. In fact, it's it hurts. Yeah. We tried it out. The highest we could get it was three. And that was that's harsh. I said. Imagine what 10 must be like. It's really not fair for me because you've got bigger jowls. Wow. Ouch. Ow. Oh, ouch. Jay is on one today. You see this muscle? This muscle. This neck? It's all muscle. All right? Jay is going to be especially on one today. Yes, he and Woods. Jay and Woods are both sleep deprived. 1.30 we got home. Fired up. You got home at 1.30.
You've been asleep for an hour and a half. There we go. Slept the whole way, dummy. Yeah. All right. Listen, I ain't going to put up with your shenanigans today. I'm done about to have enough of you. You're weak. You're weakling. You're the weakling. Post a picture of my busted ankle on Facebook. You got to. You got to. There's no question. The one you sent us. There's no question. Word of the day is gasoline. When you hear me say that word between now and 10, call her nine. Gets tickets to see LA Rising, Rage Against the Machine, and Rise Against at the LA Coliseum on July the 30th. Okay, so use your guide for the holiday weekend here in San Diego. First of all, it's going to be nice. Yes, it is going to be nice. Well, this is basically just an overview for the weekend. Memorial Day is on Monday. The Hangover 2 is out. Kung Fu Panda 2 is out. Some things you can do with your family, friends. The beach. Now, lifeguard staffing is going to be increased because there's going to be a lot more people at the beach. The temperature of the water is going to be about 60 to 63 degrees. Oh, boy. That's nice. That's nice. It's not bad. It's cold.
Good. And no large swells are expected. Some events this weekend, Mike, the American Heritage Car Show. Nice. It's 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at Grape Day Park in Escondido. There's also a 31st annual ethnic food fair happening at Humboldt Park, Santee Street Fair. But the weather for you this weekend, today's supposed to be partly sunny. The coast, 68 and inland, 76. On Saturday, partly sunny. Sunday, low clouds. And Monday, partly sunny. You know, if you want to go shopping, there's tons of Memorial Day sales for you. Glee Live is coming to Sports Arena on Sunday night. What? Yeah. Is Wavy going with anybody? Do you want to go? I just call Garrett if you want to get tickets. I can take her. They'll be there. I could buy beer on the way if you want. I have a Suburban. I can bring all our friends. If you want to bring a bunch of friends. Oh, my God. It's cool. You still have that guy? I don't care. Whatever. I can be the DD. Wait, wait, wait. Maybe you can be the DD. And a lot of people are traveling. They're saying about 2.5 million Southern California residents are expected to be traveling this weekend. So, brace yourself. So, the finals in the NBA are set. Yes, sir. It is the Dallas Mavericks against the Miami Heat. The Miami Heat won 83-80 last night. LeBron James, 28 points. D-Wade, 21. They're hot.
They are hot. They're ready to go. So it's Mavericks and Heat. It's the second time they've met in the finals, and the Heat won the last time. Prediction Woods? I'm going to go with the Heat. I'm from Dallas. They got those superstars, man. The Heat has to win the championship after they did what they did. Yeah, they have to do it. So I think they'll handle it. I don't know much about this, how this works, but there's a baseball video game, and a guy in Louisiana won a million dollars for perfect pitching in this game. Okay. Awesome. And I'm not big into video games, so I'm just going to tell you what it says. If you know more, let us know. But aren't I? There's a Louisiana music teacher. He just won a million dollars. He's the first person to throw a perfect game in the MLB 2K11. Is that what you call it? Yeah, this is a promotion that they're running, or a thing that they're running. Right. After he heard about this contest, his name is Brian Kingrey. He says he usually doesn't even play the sports video games, but he bought this special game a couple weeks before the contest began, which was on April 1st. And he began plotting his strategy, and he decided to pitch as the Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Roy Holiday.
against the Houston Astros. Now, he said Roy Holiday has the most control on his pitch in the game, and he has this really mean slider that's amazing against right-handers. So he'd throw it low and to the right, and then they would swing and miss, and his plan worked perfectly because he is now the first person to throw a perfect game and won $1 million. A music teacher from Louisiana. It's amazing. The woman that Arnold Schwarzenegger was cheating with had a daughter. Obviously, that was not Schwarzenegger's daughter. But that daughter has now come out and started talking about it. And we have audio of this woman talking about it. Let's make some noise with our live studio audience we have here. We'll be back and play that audio for you. You got something worth adding to the Mikey show? This is what they do. Number one. Text them at 949mikey at gmail.com. If we have any children, please step out. We'll call Mikey now. Are you trying to make this sound bad? Because it sounds great. 570-1949. More coming up. on FM 94.9. At Boy's Head, we work hard to make our oven gold turkey the best it can be. It's pure turkey breast, slow roasted the old-fashioned way. But there's a downside to such excellence. Boy's Head Oven Gold is a magnet for lunch thieves. You open up the office fridge and find your oven gold turkey sandwich has been stolen, pilfered, pinched. So... What can you do? Well, you could get a cheap turkey sandwich from a sandwich chain, something made from ground-up pots, preservatives, and fillers like seaweed extract. Nobody's going to steal that. Or you could stand by your oven gold turkey and take defensive measures, invest in a padlocked lunchbox, set up a fridge cam, or simply eat your lunch at 10 a.m. before anyone has a chance to steal it. Sure, it's a little extra effort, but a great turkey sandwich needs protecting.
And oven gold is the best there is. Boar's Head, compromise elsewhere. Try a slice of Boar's Head premium deli meats and cheeses in select supermarkets, gourmet stores, and fine eateries. So I'm at the Verizon store because Father's Day is here, my son is graduating, and they're both big into technology. So I asked the sales guy, got anything for techies? And he's like, tons. Maybe the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy Tab or the Motorola Zoom. It's Verizon's first 4G LTE upgradable tablet. So I say, hmm, but in my head I'm thinking. Then I say, okay, but aren't those super expensive? And he says, nope, we've got tablets starting at $199.99. And now my brain's going. All right, so we're going to be playing the memento game with the shot callers at 8 o'clock. Perfect. Word of the day is gasoline. When you hear me say that, caller 9, pair of tickets to see LA Rising, Rage Against the Machine. Yes, and Rise Against at the LA Coliseum. So it's the daughter, the daughter of the woman that had the affair with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Her name is Jackie Rosso. And she was on the Today Show and talking about everything. Mildred Vaina's daughter, Jackie Rozo, says she learned her little brother was fathered by Arnold Schwarzenegger just like everybody else when the scandal broke last week. I think mom would want to do a preemptive, hey, there's something going to come out. You want to know about this? You should know. Telemundo, it hasn't changed her feelings about her mother. She's like a superwoman pretty much. You know, she's always, you know, been there for us, for me and my brothers. She did have sex with the Terminator. Yeah. So, in essence, it would kind of make her like... Superwoman, because he's got a titanium endoskeleton. Correct. And, you know, that's why me and my brothers will always be there for her, you know, no matter what. Rozo is the first child of Schwarzenegger's house. Is she a diver? She is a diver. Okay. Titanium. Titanium. Speak publicly. She says she hasn't spoken to her mother since last week's stunning revelation. I love my mom very much, and she's, you know, good at...
Great inspiration for any woman that, you know, is out there, you know, working for their kids. So she hasn't spoke to her since the revelation. Now I'm wondering, you know, you see it on TV and you call mom and you go, hello, mom, I'm watching TV and is there anything on your mind? What exactly do you say? Do you have anything you want to tell me? No, things are good. How are you? I'm good. Finishing school. Good. What's going on, mom? Right now I'm making a great cheese, so can I call you later? You can, but... Maybe you call me later, like next week or something. Okay. Nothing you want to talk about?
Cheese is burning. Okay. Sayonara. Bye-bye. Sayonara is Japanese, but okay. Hasta luego. That worked better for me. Jackie Rosso is also attacking reports that cast her mother in a negative light. It doesn't matter what any newspaper says or anything, because, you know, I know my mom and, you know, her friends and her family, we all know her. The mildew that they put out there is just like... It's just, you know, all gossip rumors. Hmm. What, Woods? It's not really gossip or rumors. It's more news. It's more news and confirmed. It's a kernel of truth, too. It's a kernel of it. There's something, isn't there? It's a 10-year-old kernel. Yeah. 10-year-old kernel of truth to this. Absolutely. Oh. L.O.B. just finished an entire season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, that's right, Woods. And she's been... lying to her boyfriend, Matt Commerce, her BFMC, that she's been watching. And in fact, when he calls and says, what have you been up to? She says, watching Netflix. It's omission, right? Lying by omission. Lying by omission. I may have watched four episodes of Chloe and Kim, or Chloe and Courtney take Miami last night. Oh, my. You couldn't keep me farther from it. I thought the same thing. And then I was like, oh, I was hypnotized.
I'm convinced. Yeah, men are different than women. Sienna spent an hour last night online reading about our new American idol, Scotty McQuarrie. You are obsessed. Wow. Well, thank you, Sienna. I sure do appreciate it. Yeah. Hey, listen. I need somebody to drive with me when I drive because I've only got my learner's permit. Hey, Scotty, can I give you a ride? Hey, Scotty, do you need a lift? So, Scotty, do you need a ride to rodeo? It's a cool belt buckle. Yeah, you in 4-H? I was in 4-H. You know, my family is from Texas. I like singing, you sing. You looked at stuff for an hour on Scotty McCready. Well, it's McCreary, first of all. Sorry. And not just him on his relationship with Lauren Alaina, the other finalist. Because I want them to be together. Oh, wow. I think they're the next Brad and Angelina. Oh. I'm just going to go ahead and say that. Wow. She's into it, man. The golden couple, you guys. They're adorable. She's real into it. Don't pretend like you aren't. I haven't seen any of that stuff.
Now, this is good, too. I'm going from recaps. Yesterday's recaps. I wish that we could recap Woods and Jay, but we're not allowed. Someday. Soon. Someday soon. It'll be this summer that we'll be able to. Yeah. End of June, possibly. Yep. That's what we're hearing. Good. What we can tell you is that Jay's a little irritated at our boy Woods. Woods is a little irritated at our boy Jay. Woods has a swollen ankle. He hurt himself. Why are you laughing? I'm laughing because you are my favorite scene in any movie. You're my favorite scene in any comedy. You are that guy. One man wrecking crew. I wish that I wasn't that guy. But it's great. But I wish that I wasn't. I wish I was more like Jay. You and me both. Jay's going to isolate that clip, you know. Of course he is. Cheesecake! So yesterday, L.O.B. is, L.O.B. standing outside the elevators here in the building with a couple of co-workers. How many? Two. You guys are having a conversation. Shooting the breeze. And then all of a sudden, one of the people says to the other person, while Lauren's standing there, looks at Lauren and says, take care, and then continues to have a conversation with...
the person that they were standing with. And Lauren has to awkwardly wait for the elevator to arrive. Then slink away? And then slink away. Can there be anything more awkward than that? Can there be anything more awkward? It's really like, hey, get the hell out of here. We're in the middle of something. But the worst part of it is, is that you can't get away. You can't get away. No. Nowhere to go. There's nowhere to go. What, you take the stairs? I thought about it. Yeah, you're like, well, I'm walking down seven flights. I need to just pop in here. Yeah. Oh, I forgot something. Oh, my keys. I forgot my keys. It crossed my mind. Three separate things I was thinking about doing. They're like, they're in your hand. You're like, oh, that's my phone. Hang on. Your phone's not ringing. I almost did the phone bit. Oh, my God. That is mortifying. Bing. Bing. No. Did you get on the elevator with him?
No. Did you all get on together? No, they continued to talk. See, that happened to me the other day. I said goodbye to somebody and then we got on the elevator together. That sucks. You're just standing there. Oh, hey. Funny. Both going the same. Both going down. We're both going down. Are you parked here? Do you drive too? Do you drive here? I drive here. Nice out. Goodbye again. Well, see you later. See you again. There's nothing more awkward than the work buddy that you see every couple of weeks. Hey, James, right? No, it's actually Helen. Sorry about that. How are the accounts receivable going? You guys got everything under control? Is the cash in where it needs to be? How did you get into that? Busy, huh? You guys look busy over there.
M1 Justine came to the radio station yesterday, and the first thing I said to her was, are you M1 Justin? Yes. True story. True story. Did you mean to say that? Of course I didn't mean to say that. I'm an idiot. Isolate. Are you M1 Justin? No. I'm not. I'm a woman. I'm so stupid. I feel your pain, pal. All right, Sienna. What's the Google mobile wallet? I want to know what the Google mobile wallet is. Well, it is what we've heard about. And it's basically a credit card on your phone. So when you go to stores, they use your phone to scan it. You guys think of that? Rad. Won't work for me. I'll lose my phone too much. I don't spend money. Yeah. Google's partnered with Citibank, MasterCard,
Data, Sprint, and some other retailers to back up the product. And it's going to be the first digital wallet to launch. And it's going to be rad. A mobile app that allows users to swipe their phones. I think it's cool. I mean, it makes it easy for you. Yep. You don't have to. That reaching into your back pocket, pulling out your credit card is kind of a tough deal. Well, they have to swipe it. You have to wait. This is instant. Okay. It's as instant as when you're checking out and they're putting. Okay. All right. Fine. So you just gave me your credit card. I swipe it. Now I got to wait. Let me pull up the app. Now I'm waiting. Hold on. She's pulling up the app. She's pulling up the app. Now I touch this one and it's loading. Now I'm out there. Now Texas Hold'em just loaded, so I'm going to have to wait a second. App's ready to go. Oh, there's my hipstamatic. Shoot. Oh, there's Uno. Which one? What is it called again? Listen. Oh. This is what it looks like when you're checking out at a grocery store. They're beeping things through. Now, that's already sitting there on your phone and it's just as easy. Beep. You can go. That's pretty cool. Google's facing some problems because now PayPal has filed a lawsuit against them yesterday claiming the company stole PayPal's ideas for this new service. And basically the lawsuit's claiming that Google hired away their PayPal executive, Osama Bedier. Bedier. Bedier earlier this year in order to get trade secrets from him. And now Bedier.
is Google's vice president of payments. He's also changing his name. It is Osama. Well, there's a couple of things on the internet that just, I don't use them because they scare me. Craigslist is one. The other is eBay. I don't sell or buy anything on eBay because I'm convinced that I buy it, they don't send it. Plus, I don't know, I don't get it. I don't understand it. If I want to sell something on eBay, I have to take a picture of the thing that I'm going to sell and then I post it. And then somebody that I don't know from Wisconsin buys it. And that scares me because I got to somehow get it to them. And I don't know how I don't have packaging for an amplifier in my home. I don't. So I'm thinking, OK, now Bill from Wisconsin is. pissed. He wants it now. He just won this auction. He's going to give you a negative rating. He's going to give me a negative rating, which I don't even know what that is, but I know it's bad. And so I have to go down to some sort of UPS store or something like that. And I got to somehow figure out how to get this bulky 40 pound item to bill in Wisconsin so that I don't get a low approval rating and never get to use this site again. And I don't know if I'll get arrested if I don't send it to him. Am I breaking the law?
I don't know how it works. I'm afraid of it. I'm also afraid of PayPal. Because all I know about PayPal is that it has to do with an account and money. And I think somebody's going to break into it and steal it. I don't know how it works. I don't know who PayPal is. He's not my pal. I don't want any part of it. He's my buddy. He is? Oh, yeah. He's a good friend. Yeah, a great friend. It's like a bank account? It's like a bank account. It's like an online bank account. And you put dough in it, and then you can spend the dough on things that accept PayPal? Mine's actually other people who put dough in it. I just bought a bike. You just bought a bike? I just bought a badass bike. You did? And when you bought it, you used PayPal? I used PayPal. And the funniest thing about it... They got money from you from your PayPal account? Yeah, my slush fund. My PayPal slush fund. What's a slush fund? A slush fund is basically just money that I've been accruing that no one really knows about. And you keep it from your wife. I do know. A slush fund is something that you keep... even from your wife? Oh, yeah. What? Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was just money. Wait, wait, wait, wait. I've heard that term, slush fund. I've heard that. No one knows about, okay, is the definition of slush fund, no one but me knows about this fund? Pretty much, yeah. My wife could have a slush fund? Your wife does have a slush fund. Oh, wow. Oh, gosh. How do you know? Because I guarantee it. Because I'm going to Barbados with her when you're dead. Because I guarantee you my wife has a slush fund. A slush fund.
is money that somebody packs away? Yeah. What if she has one? She has one. Call her. I want to ask if Rebecca has a slush fund. She won't tell me because it's a slush fund. She doesn't have one. She has one. She has money put away somewhere that you don't know about. Yeah, for a rainy day. Yep. Yeah, maybe that. I should have a slush fund. Yeah, we all, everybody should. You do, it's called an allowance and you spend it. That's true. That's a true story. So wait, yours? Slush fund, your wife now knows. Well, basically, when I sell stuff online on eBay, I just let the account build up until I finally got enough to get this bike. So it was like money that I didn't pay attention to either. When you sell the stuff on eBay, do you send it to them? Oh, absolutely. You have to go somewhere and send it? I actually get the, it depends on what size it is, but the post office has just flat rate boxes. And whatever you put inside that box goes. You don't have to do anything special. How does that person trust you? Because I have a high rating of selling on there. I've sold 300 things, 300 or 400 things on there. All right. So I cannot sell something on eBay. Why not? Because I've never sold one thing. Nobody's going to buy anything from somebody that's never sold anything. You start off and they'll go, yeah, I'm going to take a chance. And plus, you have an eBay account. You're verified because you have PayPal. They do some stats to check on you to make sure they know who you are. Don't fall for any of the scams, though. Can I ask you a question? Yes.
And this goes for anybody listening right now. Maybe you've got something and you want to sell it. Let's say, for instance, I've got a digital camera. Okay? Six of them. Several. Several, yeah. Let's say that I have a digital camera and all you need to operate said digital camera is the battery that comes with it and the charger. But let's say that that's all I've got. Okay. I don't have any of the paperwork that came with it. I don't have the box it came in. Doesn't matter. Will somebody buy it? 100%. Heck yeah. You just say that, though. You take a picture of it, of everything that it contains, with another camera, take a picture of the camera, which is no problem for you. Right. And then post it, and then bam. And then you start low and put like seven days where people can bid on it, and you just watch it. Really? Oh, yeah. And then that money goes into something that you call a PayPal account slash slush fund. Yes. Yep. I just decided. It's easy. Nothing to it. My wife, Jamie, has a friend that her husband's very controlling with their dough. Very controlling. So she will take like her old purses and stuff. And Jamie said one time they were all together and she's like, hey, check this out.
$1,400 from selling old shoes, purses, and husband had no idea. That was like her spending cash that she made off eBay selling purses and shoes. Wow. Jay, do you... You bought a bike? Yeah, I had seven grand. I sold my kids. Well, the bike that I have is like a $10,000 bike. Oh, hold on. It's a motorcycle? Nope, it's a bicycle. A bicycle? Uh-huh. Carbon fiber. Does it come with Farrah Fawcett? I wish. That's, by the way, the most relevant. Rest in peace. That's the most relevant example I came up with. She's not alive anymore. Farrah Fawcett. Rest in peace. Why? Because Audrey Hepburn wasn't available? Does it come with Bea Arthur? Mac, I already had Bea Arthur. That's right. Here's the beauty of eBay. The bike was valued at that, but I got it for substantially less. How much? I got the bike for 20, let's see. Let's see. What can I lie about that Kim won't get mad? 2,800, 2,800. And then I put another thousand something of parts in because it was just the frame. Would you put a muffler? No, no. It's all carbon fiber.
A bicycle can cost $10,000? Okay, tell me about a $10,000 bicycle. It's a specialized. It's the Epic S-Works, and it is full suspension. But what's great about it? Full suspension. Rides by itself. Yeah, you don't have to actually ride it. It'll ride itself. Full suspension, so it means it's got shocks in the front and back. It's got tubeless tires, which means it runs without tubes in the actual tires. All the components. The whole thing weighs less than a normal bike. It's like 22 pounds in total weight. And most of the full suspension bikes can be up to like 40 pounds. So when you ride over rocks and stuff like that, it doesn't hurt your butt. Exactly. Did your wife want to murder you for spending that much dough on... So see, then she sees the frame come in and she was stoked. She was like, you deserve it. You've been riding your other bike for 10 years. Wow. That's amazing to me. We started talking about this the other day, and it made us laugh, so we're going to do this on the radio. Somebody mentioned our playlists on iTunes, and we started hearing the names that we have for our playlists on iTunes, and it was making us laugh. So we're going to share with you what our playlists are, our genuine actual playlists. And some may be mundane, but some may be funny. And I want to ask you, as you're driving, if you have playlists that are funny,

If you don't use it, you lose it. Woods. I got one word for you, dude. Get. Sienna. I was a really good student. And Jay. Please grow up. On FM 94.9.
Let's make some noise with our live stupid audience that we have. Hanging out with the Mikey Show. Maracas and all. Love it. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Well, have you heard about the plunge? It is a pool that was at Belmont Park since 1939. Well, there's been a bit of a dispute between the leaseholder and the city of San Diego over renovations, so they are closing the plunge. It's going to remain closed until repairs are made, so we're not sure exactly when, but it's an indoor saltwater pool. I went to tons of birthday parties. My parents did when they were little. It's kind of a... landmark here in San Diego. Also, a CIA team of forensic specialists has been granted permission by the Pakistani government to visit Osama bin Laden's compound, the one where he was killed, where he was living, and basically they're going to be searching for buried documents, any more hidden documents. They found his journal. They're going to look for more stuff like that. Dear diary, today I was so pissed. Tommy was being such a bee, and I was all...
Are you just going to act like that all day? And she pretended like nothing was wrong, and I was like, whatever. I asked her if it was her time of month. She did not like that one bit. I don't even care, though. You know what? I'm crying right now. I'll write later. Woods, what's going on in sports? Well, the Padres were off last night, so it's tough to drop a game when you're off. And they've been dropping some games lately. They finished 2-6 on their homestand. They are traveling to Washington. They're going to take on the Nationals today. Clayton Richard against John Lannan. So the Nationals are a beatable team. Let's get out of Petco Park and go out and hit the ball. They do not like playing at Petco Park this year, man. And this is a very sad story out of Denver. A fan tried to slide down a railing at Coors Field and lost his balance and hit his head, and he has passed away. He is 27 years old. His name is Robert Siemens. He's of Pueblo, Colorado. Wow. Very sad. He did give his organs to... He's an organ donor, which is light at the end of the tunnel, I guess. Yes. Listen, if you get into an accident, being an organ donor is a really, really awesome thing.
We were just doing my dad's stuff, you know, and they told us something that we didn't know. And that is that let's say you're on life support and you're an organ donor. They start the harvest process before you're gone. Did not know that. I didn't either. Didn't either. But I thought it was an important piece of information. You know, I was like, well, I'd kind of like to know that. The fact that you just called it harvest freaked me out a little bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll admit that. That is what they call it. The word of the day is gasoline. When you hear me say that between now and 10, caller number nine will win a pair of tickets to the LA Rising Rage Against the Machine. Yeah, it was a rise against the LA Coliseum on July the 30th. The Memento game is going to be played with me and Jay. We'll put on shot callers. Dog shot callers. And then Sienna, Woods, and L.O.B. are going to ask us Mikey Show trivia questions. We use our name as a buzzer. If we get it wrong... They shock us. They've got little remote controls in their hand, and they shock us. You got to cook that pack of hot dogs on your neck. He couldn't even get it. He couldn't get it out. He was so, he wanted to just. He was waiting. He was so happy to. So happy. Just grinning. Just get a spit talk and have some roast pig. It's like a little piece of teriyaki, only Mexican. Sayonara. Man, I cannot wait.
I cannot wait. I hope I get some right. What do your playlists on iTunes say about you? M1, Super Mario from San Diego. What's one of your favorite playlists called? All my love making music. The playlist is called Babymakers. Babymakers, wow. What's a song on it? Yeah, give me some music on there. I mean, you got Marvin Gaye. You got some shot A's on there. Oh, nice. You gotta be. Yeah, of course. Hey, thank you. Appreciate it. Sienna didn't think that any of hers were going to be interesting, but she started to tell me some, and I go, save it. Well, they're all my husbands. We share an iTunes account, and so I was like, well, there's childhood on here. Oh, wow. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Stop, stop, stop. I know. Sorry, Todd. There's a playlist called Childhood. Childhood. What's on Childhood? Just to name a few. Brian Adams, Summer of 69. Yes. That was my favorite summer, Mike. That's right. John Cougar, Jack and Diane. The Cars, Let's Go. The Police. Uptown Girl. Oh, wow. Todd. A lot of Billy Joel on here. The Eagles. Todd Rolls.
That's the worst song. Your husband rolls Uptown Girl in the Supra. Jesse's Girl is on here. I'm telling you, those would not be on my childhood deal. I'm not a fan of those. They don't strike my fancy. He has Party. What's on Party? Pearl Jam, Jeremy. That's a party song? About a kid committing suicide. Yeah. Dave, I'm sorry about this one. For, like, the most depressed kid. Guy goes in the classroom, blows his head off in front of his classmates. True story, by the way. That's what I like to listen to when I'm partying. Party time. This is more of a party one. The Bee Gees staying alive. Yeah. Wow. Love it. I want to see Todd party. Yes, that do I. Notorious B.I.G., Mo' Money, Mo' Problem. Oh, wow. Todd. It's a white guy with blonde hair. I love you, babe. You're so handsome and you're the best husband. Did he know you were going to read this? No. Oh, wow. He's in his car probably punching the steering wheel right now. No, he's in his car listening to Uptown Girl by Billy Joel. I mean, let's call it what it is. In too deep, back to the hotel. Oh, my gosh. Wow. Any other ones? Any other names? Michael Jackson, Billie Jean. No, no, no. I mean playlist names. Oh, yeah.
There's High School. What's in High School? The Outfield. That's good. Def Leppard. ACDC. Motley Crill. Kiss. Great. Night Ranger. I don't know what that is. ZZ Top. Sharp Dressed Man. He's married to a woman. She doesn't know what this music is. Sister Christian. Don't know. It's so good. Night Ranger. Pete Townsend. Nice. Alright. Woods. Give me some of your playlists. Some or all? I can rip through them, and then you can rip on the ones that you like. Can I see? You want to see them? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. There you go. These are what your playlists are called. You have a playlist called Alex. Yeah, that's for my niece. Okay. She wanted some of my music, so I made her a playlist. You have a playlist called Baseball and Baseball 2. Yep. What's in baseball, and when do you play it? Well, take a guess. Pump yourself up on the way. Take me out to the ball game? No, not take me out to the ball game. All right, I'll give you some baseball. You want one or two? Give me baseball. Okay, baseball. Hell's Bells, ACDC, Rain When I Die, Alice in Chains, Audio Slave is on there, The Deftones. This gets you pumped up to play baseball. Yeah, Foo Fighters, GNR, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Nas, Velvet Revolver. Woods plays in an adult little league. Semi-pro.
What's in Baseball 2? Oh, Baseball 2 is all Deftones. Okay. Then you've got something called Beach Mix. Now, is this when you're driving to the beach? Or is this when you're... What is Beach Mix? Yep. What is it? It's when you're driving to the beach? It's tough to get me in the mood to go surf or go to the beach. What's in Beach Mix? Got some Kings of Leon. I got some Band of Horses. I got Team Sleep. I've got Ryan Adams. Porno for Pyros. Pearl Jam. Not a Surf. Barbie Girl. No Barbie Girl. Incubus. What is in the playlist called Jamie? Jamie, that's a mix I made for my wife on Valentine's Day. You got some Coldplay. You got some Cyndi Lauper. John Lennon. Marvin Gaye, STP, Lyle Lovett. Can you tell me what Late Night Clown? What is the playlist Late Night Clown? I can tell you this. Years ago, my friend in Dallas, Bark Melman, one of my best friends, said, I need some baby-making music for my house. So I made him a mix called Late Night Mix.
and it's closed more business for him, he said, than anything. What are some songs? But anyway, he came to visit, and he goes, I need to update it. So I made him a new one. I got some City in Color on there. I got Morrissey, Black Keys, Chris Isaac, Pete Yorn. Then you've got Valentine's Mix. Yep, that's a mix I made for my wife on Valentine's. And then, finally, you've got Workout Mix. Which doesn't get used very often. Is that one empty? Yeah. What's in that? U2, The Wigs, 30 Seconds to Mars, Jay-Z, Incubus, GNR, Foo Fighters, Deftones. All right. All right. I'm going to read you mine. And if you want to know anything, you've got to stop me. I have many playlists. I'm a bit disorganized when it comes to playlists. First playlist is Ministry. Holy Spirit. Oh, you're a ministry fan? No. Oh. No, it's not the band. Not Al Jurgensen's band. He's great. I've given it the name Ministry Holy Spirit. Okay. The next one is... I don't even want to make fun of that one. The next one I called Ministry Resurrection. Oh. And these are songs? No. Podcasts. Podcasts. No. Praying music? No.
They're lectures. Hymns. No, they're lectures. Lectures on the resurrection. I want to party with you. Yeah. For instance, here's what a random one might sound like. Being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preach to you unless you believe in the name. I listen to this. On the treadmill? On the elliptical. Seriously, this is what I'll listen to. That Christ died for us. Oh, boy. Yeah, I know. You're a sweet kid. Starfield, a bunch of records from them. Then I've got something called Testimony, which has my Testimony music on it. I've got one called Workout. Never sees. It's all dusty. Yeah, a playlist can be dusty. Mars Hill Church, North Coast Church, R.C. Sproul. These are all playlists. The Backyardigans. Love that song. The theme song. Britney CD. Oh, needs its own playlist. Switchfoot. Archery. Oh, boy, Mike. That's embarrassing. We're live on the radio. Driving Jesus Rock. Driving Jesus Worship. Driving Jesus Third Day.
Driving Jesus Third Day Worship. New band out of Portland, Driving Jesus Rock. Garrett. Thanks, Garrett. From Detroit. Fleetwood Mac, House Mix. You like house music? What's a house mix? Music to play around the house. It's music to play around the house. Like what? Be honest. Red, Starfield, The Police, Queen, REO Speedwagon, Rihanna, Sheryl Crow, Silverchair, Simon and Garfunkel. Steeler's Wheel, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sting, Switchfoot, Tony Bennett, Train, U2, Vertical Horizon, Fiona Apple, Filter. Fiona Apple? Yep. Okay. For Rebecca. She loves it. Alright. Another playlist that I have is Kanye West. I've also got one called Pool Party. Jimmy Buffett? Tommy Bahamas.
Soundtrack. Greatest hits. Can you borrow that from Tom? It's what they play in the store. TV greatest hits. And last but not least, I have a playlist called Spa. Nice Bieber. When do you listen to Spa? What else? I need to know. What mood are you in? What are you doing? Play something from Spa. Yes, please. And describe to us what you would do while listening. Oh, boy. Looks like she's just discovered she works with Ted Bundy. That's the look that she had. She had a look on her face like... I want to know when. I know, me too. Rebecca and I, for our anniversary one time, had a woman come over and give us a couple's massage. This room right now is all staring at me. They brought a table. It was a couple's table. They put it in the bathroom. And I made this playlist. They suggested that we make a playlist. They said, don't worry about the music. I'll find some stuff.
This next one's called Circular Pressures. Lied, nude, fat body was laying on a white sheet covered by another white sheet. While a woman asked me, would you prefer lavender or sandalwood? So you're saying it took two sheets to cover you? It's funny because he's fat. King size. Was it a king size sheet, Mike? Was it a sail? Yeah, they bring a sail over. Did they cover you with a sheet that said Goodyear? I didn't know the circus was in town. Use the tent. That's so strange. That sheet says Barnum and Bailey. That sheet is the cover for the Superdome. Did they use the same cover that they cover a car with? Keep it all fresh? This next one's called Gentle Glide.
I know what that's for. Oh, boy. Yeah. I didn't. You did. I didn't think that when I said it. You shut out. I didn't. I'm talking about making love. Is the next one called KY? Oh, boy. This one's called Deep Bamboo. Who plays the panda? Oh, my gosh. It's a stretch, but it was good. Took a while. Here's Bathe the Senses. Mike? Mike? You gotta stop. It gets worse. Question? Yeah. Have you ever listened to this any other time other than when that lady came to your house? Once. Doing what? I was sick. I was sick. I was sick with a cold. And you wanted to be soothed. Want me to tell the story? Yeah. I'll tell you the story. Vic's Vapor Rub just wasn't cutting it.
Sit with your fountain in the dark. If I don't feel safe, I won't tell a story. You're safe. It's safe. It's in our bathroom. And Rebecca said that we had these salts that don't do that. You do that, Woods. I can't tell a story. You have to now. But you gave me a look. Just cover your face with me. Okay. Rebecca said that we had these salts. I had a cold. I was shivering. Okay? Shivering. So we put these salts. Ella B. What? She's keeping it straight. The music playing while you're telling it is too much. So good. So I drew a bath and I put. That's darn it. Hello, Miss Lady. And Rebecca said that we had this bottle, but it wasn't like it wasn't bubbles, but it would accomplish that. And so I made a bubble bath. And I was sick. I was.
freaking sick. And it was two days ago and I was sick. Two days ago? Yeah, I was sick. I was sick. I had a cold. Were you sick? I was sick and I was shivering. Infermo. Infermo. And you thought that you wanted some tunes. I see that. I like it. Can you export that for me? Yeah. And so I played it and I just laid in there. And I just laid in there. Dart? Yeah. Candles. I was shivering cold. Candles. No. Eye mask. No. That would be gay. NyQuil? Oh, NyQuiled up. Just imagine it, though. I can see it. Your boys are all silky. You're just laying there. Kind of floating. Silky boys. After the night I had last night, I may need to borrow that.
And then as you lay in the bath, you just let yourself, you let yourself go, you know. As you're there, you think of the last Deepak Chopra book that you did not read. And then you lie there and you allow the senses to become overcome by the smell of the lavender. Right? Yeah. You try to... Excuse me? It's okay. It's all right. It's comfortable. It's all right. If you are comfortable, that's okay to do. If you come to a place where you are in total relaxation, it is perfectly okay. It is perfectly okay. If you are relaxed, you come to a place of relaxation where you go. Then you get your center again. You get your center again, okay? So you center yourself. And as you begin to center yourself, you go into a deep.
You're completely relaxed, okay? But then you have to realize your body still feels aches and pains, and so you relax again. There you go. Get it all out. Don't nobody go in the bathroom for about 35 minutes. Oh, I'm seven. Why are farts so funny? The gold standard. It always works. When we come back, Jay, the old man that does science, is going to happen. That's right. We'll be back. Mikey. Seriously, dude? Call Mikey now. 570-1949. And? Text him at 949mikey at gmail.com. Yahoo! Brought to you by Joe Roper's Surf Report Repair. Today we've got a little bit of a surf increase for you. West-north-west wind-groundsport combination has lurched up a bit, and some southwest continues to show as well. Combination spots, easily looking at waist chest-type plus surf. Top spots, shoulder-to-head height, maybe even a plus on that on occasion. That's the good news. Bad news is it's still a bit crossed up, slight texture on it, but much cleaner than it has been, and tides are a bit more cooperative as well. Beach break's definitely your better call with a broken-up combination of swells out there.
Scattered corners, a bit soft on the takeoff, but some steeper inside phases to be had. And the reef break's looking a bit weak right now with that higher tide. Kind of soft and sectiony, but they show promise for some rideable ways, or more rideable ways, I should say, as the tide continues to drop out. Overcast skies right now, light and variable winds, and I'm going surfing. For up-to-the-minute surf reports, forecasts, go to surfline.com. And for your surfboard restoration or repair needs, go see Joe Roper only. The authentic surf report can be heard three times daily, right here on FM 94.9. This has been the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. For those of you that have never seen me, I'm a short, chunky guy. Lauren. I was the creep. Yeah. I was kissing boys when they were sleeping. How old? I was four. Woods. I like being out in the country, too, man. Throw a dip of snuff in, have a couple beers, kind of feel like a man, right? Sienna. I want a flight of New York just to go to the Pop-Tart store. And Jake. I can cry now at the drop of a hat, something just sad happened. On FM 94.9.
called Childhood. Or is this from the high school playlist? I don't remember. But this is on his playlist. Gotta love it. So, want to let people know? PortraitPrince.net. It's our friend Jared. He will take a regular picture that you have and transform it into what looks like an oil painting and he can provide frames, the whole thing. PortraitPrince.net. Check him out online. Amazing company. You talk about an elegant gift. That's it. Putting on the shot collars at 8, Jay. Sweet. Yep. We'll be doing the memento game at 8 o'clock. That's right. The way that it works is Jay and I will put on dog collars. Shot collars. It's not my first time. Oh, wow. And then we will be asked questions. If we get the question wrong.
We've got to get shocked. So, we'll be doing that pretty soon. Which is not to be confused, by the way, with the gasoline game that we play, which is Gas Price is Right. Which works in a similar way, but is very different. Nice. For me. Also, not to be confused with Buzzword. Which is really a different game. Or, name that tune. Or name that tune. Or Tom Tom Tunes. Right. Pretty much. different than all the other games that we play. But similar in the fact that it's a game. What about movie plot Hot Potato? Right. That's a game we haven't played for four years. Which is not to be confused with a dumb chick challenge, which I haven't done for four years. So, you know, that's just for your info. Are we ready to do the old man that does science? Yes, we are. Alright, so...
Let me give you the old man that does science theme song. Hang on. Here we go. Where is it? Where are you? Come here, old man. Here we go. Old man that does acting. Old man that does science. Here we go. Jay's the old man who does science. He's the old man with technology. The old man who does science. The old man with technology. He blinded me with science. Wow. But he failed in biology. Jay just opened the door and, oh my, what is he going to do? Oh, wow. Okay, Jay, I'm going to need Jay to explain. But before we do, hang on, Jay, hang on. Holding. M1 Lisa from Lakeside, are you there? Yes. What was the word of the day? Gasoline. That's right. Very well done. Very well done. You just won tickets to see...
L.A. Rising, Rage Against the Machine, and Rise Against at the L.A. Coliseum on July 30th. Yeah, you got it. Hang on the line, okay? Hang on. Excuse me. Okay, Jay, so you got to explain what is going on here. Okay, so I've taken this 32-gallon trash can, and I've cut a hole in the bottom, just a small little round hole in the bottom. Okay, yeah, little hole in the bottom. Taken a shower curtain, and I've put it across the top. Right. And we took a bungee cord. And I hooked it around it to hold it tight. Yeah, hold it tight. Okay. So that it builds a vortex. A vortex. So basically, if I tap it, you can't really see anything. Oh, yeah, a little bit of puffs of something's coming out. What is that in there that's puffing out? There's a little smoke in there. So here I've got Adam, my lovely assistant. All right. And I'm going to shoot these cups off of his head. You're going to shoot cups off of his head using a vortex. I've got to see it. Oh, wow. Whoa, whoa. Oh, wow.
So you can't really see the air, so I'm going to fill it full of smoke, and then you'll really be able to see it. So hold on. That was the coolest thing. Even without the smoke, we were able to see the cup come off of Adam's head from about 10 feet away with just the very smallest amount of a tap on this homemade vortex. Now, Jay is filling it with smoke. Looks like Jay's apartment back in 1976. Or 2011. Oh, wow. And it's filling with smoke from a smoke machine. And Adam is holding on to. He's got cups in his right. He's got a cup in his right hand. Oh, that's awesome. It's these rings. Oh, that's rad. Oh, wow. Oh, that is so cool. Dude. Wow. Oh, Jay, that is great. It looks like the people that can smoke cigarettes and blow those O's. Yeah, rings. How long until JR comes in and goes, uh, Jay, uh, the building's on fire. Oh, there's smoke everywhere. Jay, that was great. That's cool. That's the old man who does science. Oh, I love it. That was so good. And we filmed it, so you'll be able to see it. He's the old man who does science. You'll see it online. He's the old man with technology. The old man who does science.
The old man with technology. He blinded me with science. But he failed in biology. In just a moment, I'm going to be telling you about a very brave 10-year-old that caught an alligator. And we'll be telling you that in just a second. But first, I don't know if you're aware of something called Behind Two Ferns. Or Between Two Ferns. It's something Zach Galifianakis does. He hosts it. And his latest guest was Will Ferrell. Hi, my name is Zach Galifianakis. Welcome to another edition of Between Two Friends. My guest is Will Ferrell. Hey. Hey, man. What's up? What's up? Hey. In your downtime, what do you get up to? Well, I'm starting to manage dance teams, hip-hop groups. Oh, that's great. Yeah. Anywhere from four to 50 kids and just a lot of energy, a lot of emotion, a lot of fun, a lot of high-fiving, a lot of smiles.
That's basically the mantra of it. It's like a lot of high fives. Is that what you said? I said, if you're listening, a lot of emotion, a lot of high fives, and a lot of smiles. That's what I said. I was pretty clear about what I said. I'm listening to what you're asking me, and if you're not listening to my answers, let's just call it a day. But the mantra is just the... Just shut up about the mantra. Just shut up. Okay? Yeah. If you can't get the fat out of your ears and listen, then why am I here? Get the fat out of your ears! You know what? I'm not that fat! Okay? I'm not that fat! Lost nine pounds. What? Their chairs are shaking. Do you think that we'll isolate I'm not that fat? Yes. I've lost nine pounds. I'm not that fat! You're fat. I'm not that fat. You're fat. Ice cake! Sienna, tell me about the 10-year-old that dragged an alligator home from a canal. Yeah, in Florida, of course. Was his name Jasper? It was. No, it was not. A 10-year-old boy dragged a nearly 6-foot alligator home from a nearby canal. That's a baby, boy. Put it back.
This guy, this little kid, apparently the grandfather walked outside and found the alligator in the front yard, and he asked the little kid about it, and he said that they were fishing. The little 10-year-old was fishing with his friends, caught something big, apparently, and he got stuck on the hook, and so then the... The alligator ran at the little boy, and he started hitting him with sticks and jumped on his back and dragged the alligator all the way home. And he, the little 10-year-old, only got a couple little minor scratches on his hands and arms. But yeah, dragged an alligator all the way back to his house. Jasper dragged a dragon home one time. I don't know why that makes news. He brought an alligator. That's nothing. Hey, Daddy, is this a big deal? I found an alligator. Six feet, boy. It's a baby. Take it back. What you going to do with it? Probably make it into a purse for Kim. Christmas, Mother's Day, birthday. I call Mom Kim. You know that. Can I get a belt? That's right. Baby, I'll give you a belt. You make me a wallet? Yeah, I'll make you a wallet. If there's enough, it's a baby. If you take it back and give me a big one, I'll make one. But it's six foot. It's barely nothing. About some pity loafers. Yeah. Your daddy caught six footers when he was still in the womb. That's nothing. Give me a break. What do you guys think about year-round school?
Yuck. Yuck? You say yuck, Jay? For us or our kids? Well, here's the deal. Testing apparently is so bad for kids in the United States that there's some people that are talking about kids going to school, you know, all year round, making it a national thing. Oh, wow. So the question is 5701949 Nation, would you as a parent be in on having kids in school longer to get better test scores or do you think that they should get a break? Now, here's something you have to consider. When they do the year-round school, they get breaks. It's just not a three-month break, but they get pretty good little breaks. It isn't the whole three-month summer thing. And this is what I'm going to challenge you with before you say no, is just don't say no to it simply because that's what you enjoyed. Simply because you had a three-month break.
It shouldn't be the reason that you say, well, that's the way it should be for my kid, too, because I had it. They should have it. But Woods, what are you saying? Well, boy, you're really preparing them for later in life because that's how it is. I mean, my first couple of years out of college, I was like, cool, man. When's summer break? When's spring break? You don't get spring break anymore. That's a great point. And just get them used to it now. I mean, I know there's a lot of parents out there, single moms, things like that, that would love having their kids in school year round. What are you going to do with them for three months a lot of the time? I love the point. That's life, man. In life, you don't get three months off. Let's have them work 10-hour days, too. Because, I mean, that's coming. So might as well just give it to them right when they're in school. Well, they are in school. They're not working eight, 10-hour days. No, they're not. Well, what are they working in school? Well, they get into school around 8, and they're out at 2.30. Well, you're using the extreme. example of a job so why don't we use other extremes from a job too why don't we say you know well yeah why don't we purposefully put teachers that'll boss them around because we know that they're gonna run into some bossy bosses there you go exactly i think that a kid should be able to be a kid at least for a certain amount of his life i mean there's plenty of time to grow up you know it gets all too serious all too quick would you stop being a kid if he goes to school year-round he's not a kid anymore
I tell you, it puts a lot more stress on them. I mean, I could tell you from, you know, my kids' standpoint, and I've had four, you know, going through, man, that break is a relief. And, I mean, yeah, they have to start all over again to a certain degree, and they lose a little bit of the flow they're already in. But, man, it's just like, give them some time off to be a kid. M1 Anthony from OB, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What do you think? Yeah, it's a really interesting point. You know, we're one of the only countries who, go to school 180 days a year, and that's something that was established in the farm times, you know, when all the kids had to go back and work the fields. And all the other countries, they go to school 240 days a year. And if you think about it, you know, in just three years, that's a whole other extra year of schooling these kids are getting. So it's no surprise that, you know, they're scoring a lot better on tests. That's good. Why don't we want our kids to score better on tests? Sienna, wouldn't you like that? Well, yeah, but... Uh, Jenna, when I met Todd, she, Jenna was in kindergarten and first grade at a year round school and it was awesome. She had a month off for Christmas, a month off for spring break and a month off in the middle of the summer. So a lot of times when kids get summer break and have a full three months, they go back and they don't, you know, it's hard for them to focus again. They don't remember the stuff that they learned last year. This way they still get as much time off during the year, but it's more, you know, spread out. Do they finish earlier?
From school? Like, in other words, did they graduate from high school at, like, 16 instead of 17? No, it was the same. I mean, you graduated at the same time, yeah. Let's see. M1 Petrie from San Diego. Good morning, Mike. How are you doing? Good, man. What's up? I have two daughters, and they both go to year-round school. And it works out to be about the same number of days every year that they go to school. They just get, like she was saying, the longer breaks in the middle of the year. And it does help a lot with their retention. Huh. Thank you very much. I'd be in on it. There's some colleges that do, instead of semesters, they did quarters. And I was a good student for about six weeks. And then you lost me. I was done after that. I always wanted to go to school where there were quarters. So you get four report cards a year instead of two. Because I think my GPA would have been a lot better. And I think you hold their attention.
better with shorter spurts, you know what I mean? Rather than that nine-month period, then give them three months off. Let's see. 570-1949. M1 David from Point Loma. Yes, hi. How's it going, man? Good. Good. Hey, I'm a teacher, and I'm listening to what you guys are talking about, about the kids having school year all year, and I think it's a great idea. I think kids have a hard time. focusing when they come back. I mean, the first day they come back, it's just crazy, even the first week or so. But, you know, I think it's a great idea. But if they're going to do that, if they're going to do the school year round, I think they need to compensate teachers a little bit better. Well, they need to compensate teachers better anyway. Yeah. You know, but I think he's totally right. Yeah, I do too. I bet there's some teachers out there that are like, dude, I got into this for freaking three months off so I could bartend and PB in the summer. Now you're telling me I got to go work. I didn't know this, but Bill O'Reilly does something every night called the pinhead of the night. And you're going to be shocked that I don't agree with this.
Seriously. And fine tonight, Penn as a Patriot, for some reason, 30-year-old Kim Kardashian has become very famous in America for pretty much doing nothing. And now she's engaged to a basketball player, Chris Humphries, who apparently gave Ms. Kardashian a ring worth more than $2 million. Now, we believe in true love, but that seems to be a bit much. A $1 million ring would have been nice, and then you could have used the other million to help people who need assistance. So Ms. Kardashian and Mr. Humphries... Our pinheads. One of the douchiest things I've ever heard. Let me explain. So he could have spent a million dollars on a ring, which wouldn't have been exorbitant. And then you could have spent the other million on altruistic things. Well, if that's the case, and since you're telling everybody how to spend their money, Bill, maybe we spend $10 on a Cracker Jacks ring. And then we spend the other $2 million on altruistic. Good Samaritan type things. I hate this whole deal of anybody telling anybody how they should be spending their money, especially when you don't know what people do with their money. And so it just struck me as so goofball. And then to go as far as to say, why not just spend a million? What world are you living in, Bill? His. Yeah. Makes a lot of dough. The normal people are like a million dollars on a ring.
I won't even tell you what I spent on Rebecca's ring. It wasn't very much. It was all I could afford at the time. It was all I could afford. It's not a very, you know, extravagant ring at all. And holy cow, man, I hear some of the prices that people spend on rings. And granted, I wish that I could have gotten her a big, beautiful ring, but it's crazy. It's crazy what you could spend on a diamond ring. Anything that's going to cost that much shouldn't be able to slip off your finger. Right. Yeah. Or fall down the toilet. You know what I gave Kim? Yeah, what did you give Kim? An earring. You did? Instead of a wedding ring, you gave her an earring? I melted it down and made a ring. Like in a... Yeah, I found it. You found the... At a club. At a club, and then you melted that down to form a ring. Yeah. Okay, and then... Mike, I ain't spending a lot of money on a ring. Like a smelter? Yeah, I'm a smelter. I'm also a cobbler. I'm a mason. I'm a carpenter, blacksmith. Yeah, I smelter. Smelter, delta. Smell you too. When we come back, memento trivia. We'll put on the shot collars. The dog shot collars are next.

Studio audience, we got in here. We're going to be playing Memento Trivia coming up next. Sienna, what's going on in the news? We've talked about this a little bit before, but it is now becoming a bigger issue. Facebook depression. It's a result from being bombarded with friend tallies. status updates, photos of people being happy. They're saying this mainly affects kids. Kids that maybe ask the popular person at their school to be their friend. They deny them. A nerd pokes you or something like that. This is a symptom. Isolate. Oh, boy. Pokes you on Facebook. A nerd pokes you. This is funny. That's what it says in the article. The medical community is now getting behind it, so you guys can just get. Also, This is a really sweet story, Woods. You're going to love it. A scruffy Alabama terrier mix.
In Alabama. His name is Mason. He was blown away by the storm from the garage in Birmingham where he was hiding on April 27th. His owners looked for him everywhere. They couldn't find him anywhere. They assumed he had died in the storm. But two and a half weeks later, they showed up at their house to look through the debris and there was Mason waiting for them on the front porch. This dog made it back to their house with two broken legs. His two front legs were broken and almost three weeks go by he survived. and made it back to the house after being blown away by the storm. Oh, my gosh. On May 20th, he had surgery where metal plates would... Took him long enough. I can get away with it. I'm Jay. I know. I can get away with anything. He looks like a dang wheelbarrow. Everything I say is gold. What'd they call him? Eileen? Oh, my God. Sally? On May 20th, he had surgery where metal plates were attached to his bones so that they could heal. Been there, done that. What do you call a dog with two broken legs? What? It doesn't matter. He's not going to come anyway. I'm ignoring you. The animal control shelter said they've never seen anything like this as far as injuries. It's the most dramatic they've seen for a dog to survive on his own. And now his front legs are always going to be a little bit shorter than his back legs. Sounds like you, Mikey. Look at this sweet boy. Biggie to it. Aw, so sweet.
Woodsy, what's going on in sports? Well, the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500 is this weekend. You going to watch any of it? I will. Yeah. The poll sitter is Alex Tagliani. He won the poll after posting the top qualifying run in last Saturday's Fast 9 shootout. And the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks are going to take on each other in the NBA Finals, and that starts on Tuesday. All right, cool. All right, you ready to do this? Nope. This is called Memento Trivia. Why? Because Jay and I can't remember anything. Can't we? Well, Jay says he can. I say... That would be great then. No, I don't know this stuff. Now... About you guys. We're going to go around the room and L.O.B., Woods, and Sienna get to ask questions. Yeah. To each of us. We'll go back and forth, me and Jay. If we get it right, we survive. If we get it wrong, we must take a shock from an actual... Dog shock collar around our necks. Oh, God. I feel nervous about shocking you guys. I won the coin toss, which means that I go first. Lucky. I don't know why I go first, because I won the coin toss. You can pick, then. Rules are rules. No, no, we already said. If I win the coin toss, don't I get to pick? It'll be over quicker for you. Yeah, you're receiving. All right. Are we ready? Mikey. All right. This question is for Mikey. How...
Those are labeled, Mikey and Jay. Okay. They're the shock collar remotes. Got it. How old is Chris? 22. Is that great? Before you do anything, tell me if that's right or wrong. That is right. Oh, gosh. Chris was glaring at me. Oh, gosh. I would not have known. Oh, gosh. Don't you glance. I wasn't glancing. You know he's trying to glance. I'm not glancing. Don't pick through them. Should I go in order? Yes. Okay. No. Name three of my dogs, not nicknames. Gosh, Penny Bell. Mm-hmm. Jesus. No, that wasn't a guess. That's not one of them. There's one, Jay. There's one. Now, it's Senior Beams, but that's a nickname. It's a nickname. I think I can name them all. I could care less about your dog's names. Wait, wait, wait. Now, before we do any, are you done? I'm done.
That's it. Okay, now Woods is going to shock him. God dang it. How long do I hold this? Not long. You just press it. Just press it and give him a shock. Should we increase in degree of shock as we go? No! Mike, are you ready? I kind of want mine a little higher. They're supposed to be set at three. What'd you put yours to, Jay? Three. I'm going to go to four. You are? Are you ready, Mike? It doesn't feel good. I'm telling you, it don't feel good. Just straighten up. What was the first day of Mikey-thon 2010? Oh my gosh. First day of Mikey-thon 2010 was December 16th. Is that right or wrong? Tell me.
Oh, that's mine. That's mine. You're incorrect. What was it? What was the right date? Wait, Lawrence, is this right? Yeah, that was the first date. That was... Oh! Because the next day was December 17th, which is the day I got fired at the old station. Sorry. Oh, boy. Just wanted to scare you, and I did. Mikey is two for two. Sorry, you're just kidding me, pal. My heart is beating so fast right now. It's not fair. Okay. Two for two, pal. Jason? Put two pieces of paper, because we can see through that paper. All right. I'll look over here. Jason? Yes. What is Woods' middle name? Dumbass. Is that your final answer? No, no, that's not my final answer. Is it R? Stephen R. Woods? I don't know your middle name. I do. Wait, wait, wait. Don't shock him yet. You've got to tell us the right answer. Is that your final answer? You can get it. You should pay attention sometime. You have to take at least a guess. You can't just say R.
Nope. Okay, you've got to tell us the right answer. Lee. Correct. Have we talked about that? Are we ready? Have we talked about that? Yeah, I do it. The answers aren't on there. Sienna and Lauren both. Are you ready? Okay, ready? Here we go. Yes. Ow! Oh! Oh, wow. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Wow. Face is priceless. I love this game. Good job, Mikey. Oh, my gosh. All right, me good. Where did Sienna study abroad? I didn't know she liked bro. Oh, yeah. You can get it. Europe, but specifically Spain. Correct. Oh, my God. Yes. Mikey's a people person. I don't really like people. Oh, stop trying to grab this. I almost said England. Oh. I don't think this is on. Don't do it, dude. Oh, wow. You got into fighters. Yeah. He threw his dukes up. You picked that thing up. Oh, dude.
That is wrong. That was my bad. That was my bad. That was my bad. I get one to give him. I give one to what? You do. Hurt. Okay. Did you hear that? Did you hear that? Oh, Jay. He'll get payback right now. Where did Woods graduate from college? How many colleges does a guy go to? A lot. Graduate. I wish I paid attention. What's his name? Was it in Dallas? Wow. No. I thought we were friends. I don't pay attention. I probably know all the girls that you ever slept with. Those stories. Before your wife. There's only two. Yes. Yeah. Thanks for that. Hi, Mom and Dad. How are you? Nana. Hi, honey. I love you. Hi, Nana. Hi, Grampy. I don't know. I don't know. You don't know. What's the answer? Wait, before you shock him, what's the answer? Loyola University of Chicago. Did I hit that right there? No, the one above it. No. No. One, two, three. Oh, I didn't feel it. Well, let me try it. Okay, you can do it. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Do not set that up higher. Must have turned off. Here, hold on. I swear to God. Here. Here.
The light should flash. It's on now. It was off. It was off the whole time. No, it wasn't. I bet it was off the whole time. Why would I say now? Why would I say now? It turns off after a while. It was on. I saw the light on before. You ready? Here we go. Nope. It didn't work. You're hitting the wrong button. I heard it beeping. Let's not all get excited here with all this button pushing. Okay, here we go. I'm ready. Are you ready? It flashes for like twice. I'm ready. Here we go. It's flashing and then going off. Perfect. I think my body broke it. You can just punch it. I'm made of titanium, so... It short-circuited it. Okay, here we go. Oh, boy. Are you ready? Yeah, go ahead. Oh! I did not know it was. How fun is that? That's very fun. Miguel has not gotten one yet. We got one? Okay, Mike. I did get one from him. What day did the new Mikey show first go on the air? February 1st.
That's correct. Yes! Oh, my gosh. Man, I don't know any of these. Oh, no. There's no way. I saw the next one. There is no way. You're listening to Memento Trivia. Me and Jay have bad memories, and we are wearing shock collars right now. We are being asked questions. If we get it right, no shock. If we get it wrong, we get shocked with a dog collar. I'm watching you, Woods. In what state did LOB go to college? She went to college? I didn't know. Oh, no. Oh, no. Where did she go to college? I'm going to guess where she'd like to have gone to college would be Louisiana. Is it working? Yeah. It was a creep. Oh, did you shock him? Yeah. I creeped on him. All right, I'll do it again. Hey! I screwed up. I jumped the gun. I'm sorry. Yeah, you got to get, if he gets it wrong, you give him the answer, and then you got to let us know when it's coming. It was Virginia. Virginia was the answer. All right, Mike. Ah!
That is messed up. I was just testing it. You were just testing it? That's not fair, bro. You guys just have a duel. No, I don't want anymore. Stop it. I don't want anymore. That is gnarly. Gosh darn it. Oh, that is not fair. There goes never shirt. There goes never shirt. I'm just itchy. I have an itch. I'm itchy. Okay. Mike. Get no respect. This one's about me. You better get it right. I will. Double D. Don't give the answer away, Wood. It wasn't about my boobs. I didn't own that one. Oh, gosh. Mike. In what month was Sage born? Oh, God. Dead man walking. Sage was born in August. Correct. Oh, you're a sucker! Yeah! Wow, you got all your questions great. Don't you do that, dude. Don't. Are we done? There's one more question for Jay. Because Mike started. Great call, Sienna. All right. Okay. Jay?
What was Jamie's maiden name? That is the easiest question. It's on Facebook. Every... Oh, yeah, it is. I never look at her Facebook page. Don't you? Just give it to me. Nothing? I don't even know. You don't know? No. Honey... Honeycut. Oh, I did know that. Here comes the shot. Go ahead. Nope. Oh, there it is. That's a late bloomer. Wow, I don't know why that's so good. Oh, poor Jay lost every single one. Fantastic. Mike got everyone right. Jay got everyone wrong. And I still got shocked more than he did. No, get away from me. Here, I'm going to put it all up. I got it. I'll do it. Woods. I don't trust him. He's going to stick it on my boys from behind. Whoa, I'm going to be the first one. Oh, man. Get away from me. He chased Woods around with that last week, and Woods ran.
No exaggeration. Woods ran like this. Squealing. Squealing. Squealing. And ran like into LLB. Like full on ran. Didn't that back into you from my chair? And I had my headphones on because I was editing. So I didn't know what was going on. I was in the zone. And then I got smacked by Woods. And I was like. Let me see the back of your neck. Does it do anything? Oh, yeah, dude. There's two red marks. There is? Cook those hot dogs up real good. I cannot believe that he took those liberties. Can we throw these away now? No. And that goes up to 10 for the doggies? Dude. You're a monster. I'm telling you, that was three. And what it really is, is it just, it creeps you out. Yeah. It's shocking. No pun intended. It's a little spider getting you. Oh, it's so creepy. Thank you to St. Germain's Cafe. Let's hear it from St. Germain's. So good. They're on the 101 in Encinitas, and they are now open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday. They have a $5 happy hour from 4 to 7. Really cool place. Really great breakfast on the weekends. They're really, really good. And you got to check them out. They brought in some sliders this morning that were great. And brought in some jambalaya. Gumbo. Avocado sandwiches. So, so, so good. All right. Memento Trivia is complete. Let's see. Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Don't know if you know this. But the chick that won American Idol, she had actually... Didn't win. She's a finalist. Oh, the finalist. Sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I won, Mikey. That's right. Cowboy guy. That's right. Blake something. Scotty McLaren. Blake is the judge on the other show. I'm the other guy. Lauren Alina was the runner-up. And she was talking to the guy that hosts Larry King's job now.
Piers Morgan? Piers Morgan. She used to be on America's Got Talent. And here's what happened. Do you think you would have won if your voice hadn't gone? No. No. It didn't make any difference, you don't think? No. It was a real shame for you. Yeah. I mean, it was tragic and terrible, but I wouldn't have beat him. I thought you were the better singer, to be honest. I got out for your show and I didn't make it. Really? No. And from his show? Wow. America's Got Talent? Wow. What? She didn't make it on that show twice. Wow. You bastard. Hide me. Wait, are you serious? Yes. Wait, look at that. You applied twice for America's Got Talent? It was him personally that turned you down. You didn't want it in front of the judges, right? No, I didn't. You didn't even make it to the judges' stage? No, I didn't make it past the first round. This is a scandal. Wow. Wow.
Oh, yeah, when you can have giant norms. This is not what America's called. This is awkward, right? So for all of the people who try out for America's Got Talent and don't make it try out for American Idol. That's right. There you go. That's right. Wow. Thank you. Thank you. You're a trip. Frankly, you're terrible. That is hilarious. Listen, don't try to embarrass me. I remember you. You were awful. I was just being polite. Now you've made it awkward. It's horrible. You're a horrible. You're a horrible. by calling. Don't get the numbers mixed up. Yeah, something bad could happen if you get the numbers mixed up. Oh, boy. And by the way, got an email from a dude that has a complaint, and we will play it for you and see what you think about it. Make noise in here. We got a live studio audience. I love this guy. This email says, Mikey, I've been on a co-ed softball team for four years. It's a blast. Our kids are getting older, and now my wife wants to join, and I want her to find her own hobby. Am I in the wrong, you think? M1 Tony. Tony, I do not think you're in the wrong. However, comma, I do think that if your wife wants to join your co-ed softball team, she wants to be with you. You have every right, in my opinion, to have your own space and have your own thing and have your own hobbies. And if you like doing this and it's your thing and you don't want her to be a part of it, that's fine. But it sounds like she's telling you something, which is, hey, I'd like to spend some time with you and twime. Some twime with you. Twime with you and spend some twime. Woods? Gosh.
You made a noise when I said co-ed softball. I kind of have a problem with co-ed softball anyway. Well, I kind of have a problem with softball, but... Easy, Wade Boggs. Yeah. Big time. I mean, I do. What do you want? What do you want from me? Oh, boy. You have a problem with softball? Yeah. They throw it underhand. Oh, get out of here, A-Rod. They throw it underhand. Is he joking around? I do. He's being a big timer right now. I'm not big timing. I really honestly do. Aren't you? No. Such an athlete. Uh-oh. So are you. Uh-oh. Yes, I am. Are you? I play real sports. I'm not trying to be the best at exercising, Jay. Okay? Real sports. You got a set of rocks on you. Fair enough. Size of Oklahoma. Fair enough. Well, what do you think about a wife that wants to join the co-ed softball team? Yeet. Do you agree with me that she wants to spend some time? Find something else. Okay, Woods, find something else, sure. I said, that's fine. But do you agree that it sounds like she's trying to extend that she'd like to spend some time? Of course. And do you think that it's appropriate? Code for spy. Oh. Oh my gosh! You are a monster. I didn't even think. I did. I know you did. A guilty person would think that. Of course. Yes. Of course.
They would. Guilty of wanting to hang out with my friends who I've been playing with for the last four years? No. I'm guilty. Guilty. Of sleeping with the right fielder. No. Yes. Because. Yes. Comma. Because. You just said you're trying to spy on me. I want a creeping private, Maki. Exactly. Maki. I'm trying to throw some balls around. Yeah. Literally. Trying to. Just hanging out in a dugout co-ed style. What? They're called college co-eds for a reason, Rocky. Your own team. Explain yourself. Explain yourself. Why did you say? The kids are older. Why did you say she's trying to spy on him? Because she wants to see what's up. Sniffing around, see who these girls are he's playing with. Is there anything to hide? No. Well, I don't think she needs to be on the team, but I never even thought of that until you said, oh, wow, look at that shrug.
Why not? You don't want to spend time with your wife? I spend a ton of time with my wife. Do you? Yes, I do. Jay, you would be... I would be... 100%. You know why? Because I'm perfect. I got a perfect parent. I'm a perfect husband. I'm a perfect father. I'm a perfect athlete. I'm a perfect game show competitor. I got a perfect body. I got a perfect truck. I got a perfect wiener. I got a perfect shoe. I got perfect legs. Perfect arms. Perfect hair. Perfect dog. Perfect blood. Perfect cow. Why would I want to hang out with my wife? Especially in a sport. It's something we can both do together. It's already co-ed. It's not like she's saying, hey, I know you're on. Now you got a teacher. Now you got a teacher. Oh, really? You got a teacher. Did he play softball? Yeah. What if it's his thing and it's his hobby that he enjoys? Well, if it's his thing, maybe he should just play baseball then. I don't understand. He's already playing with girls. Yeah. Agreed. Okay, so it's okay to play with other girls, but it's not okay to play with your girls? No, but isn't it his hobby? I mean, what if he was in a chess thing and there was girls in the chess thing? There wouldn't be girls in the chess thing.
You've got to come up with something else now, right? It's like soccer. Kim and I played on co-ed soccer. It was great. You decided to go into it together. No, she played soccer forever. I played soccer. And then we said, hey, there's a co-ed team. You want to do it? Yeah, you decided together. You decided to do it together. This lady didn't have the opportunity because she was staying home watching the kids. Now the kids are done. She's like, hey, look, I know you go for beers afterwards. It's going to be great. This is going to be fun. Okay, then if what you're saying is correct, what you're saying is that it is not okay for a man to have a hobby on his own. If it's co-ed, then his wife should be included no matter what. Yes. If she wants to. Yeah, if she wants to come. I mean, if she's qualified to play and it's at that level, I mean, I'm not going to take him rock climbing with me because it's not appropriate. Don't you think resentment will form? What, her being on the team? Well, if he doesn't want it. Oh, there's no, I don't understand. The only reason he doesn't want it is because he wants to hang out with other girls. You think so too, Sienna? Yeah, I don't think he wants to hook up with other girls, but he's loving his time to flirt. Wow, you guys have devious minds. What do you think, L.O.B.? 100%. That it's about flirting? It's about something. It's about being selfish. Either not having the patience to teach her or wanting to flirt with other girls or maybe be a little bit dirtier than he would be in front of her. Maybe all of the above.
What if he just wants to do something that she's not there and involved in? He can do something else, but this is something that she's trying to come over to his side and be like, hey, let's do something together. Great. Let's do something. Okay, LLB. Well, let's say that it was my co-ed softball team. You're my wife. The kids are getting older. You want to join it. And you said that. Why couldn't I say, okay, let's join something together? Well, you could suggest something, but if she wants to play softball, there's probably an inkling of her that just wants to play regardless of the fact that he's on the team, you know. Personally, I'm going to say, ladies, this should be a lesson. If you do that, you're going to drive a wedge between you and your man. I think that a man needs to be able to have hobbies. Now, to me, it isn't about, it's not about girls. It's not about, it just happens to be a co-ed team, but a guy needs to have his own stuff. The team has been together a while. They've been playing together for a long time. And if you want to do something with your man, I totally get that, and the guy should. Maybe you guys come up with something else that you can do together as a team.
Man, you're always looking for more players. On a softball team, there's always a shortage of girls, and you're always looking for more girls coming in. My answer to that would be, but what if this is something that I do that's my hobby that I don't want my wife to be involved in? Apparently that makes you a monster. There is nothing that I wouldn't want my wife to come to that if I was already doing it at that level, I would definitely. If it's something that's not in her skill set, then maybe, but that'd be the only reason. Sienna, is that wrong? I agree completely with Jay. And I think that you're right, Mike, in a sense that guys deserve to have something. And so do women. That's just theirs. But the softball co-ed is throwing me off and she has every right to be a part of it. If he was taking like guitar lessons and he was really into guitar and there weren't girls around, it wasn't a team sport. Yeah, that would be lame if all of a sudden the wife's like, oh, well, I want to take guitar lessons with you. I would understand. What's the difference? Well, it's there's. It's a group of people. It's not just his thing. It's for an entire group of both sexes. I like your example, though. What if it was a guitar lesson thing? Yeah. Okay. It's a guitar lesson thing. There's guys and girls in there. And she's like, I want to learn to play the guitar, too. I want to go to your guitar class. And you're like, no. Why? Because this is my thing where I get to do it and it's my time by myself. I like that. See, here's something that women don't understand. Women and Jay.
Men, we need our little time where we're all separated. We need our time. Now, this drives my wife a little bit Lulu. My wife will tell you, she didn't like that. And every time I do it and I want my time by myself away with the door closed and nobody knocking, nobody coming around, she doesn't... She's getting more and more used to it, but I think it hurts a little bit for women. Men need their little time. We need our time by ourself. But I need that, too. Yeah, women do, too. By yourself is different than playing on a co-ed team with other girls. I mean, yeah, I need my time. I go ride my mountain bike where she... I mean, I've ridden with her. I go climb Everest. If we're going on a guide. I go to Kilimanjaro. And we're going to go out and hammer hard. She knows she's not coming. Oh, easy, dude. I wouldn't think she'd be there for that. I think that your wife is like, happy birthday. You know, I'd like that time, too. Why don't you give me time so that I can close the door? Why don't you do that? Happy birthday, hon. Come join my team. Happy birthday. So the next time she wants that time, she can just say to you. And this is my.
You know, Todd has his own man cave. I know all about him wanting, you know, privacy. Yeah. But women don't get it as often, especially when there's kids involved. So it's not fair. Privacy implies something different. Privacy implies I want to masturbate and I need you to go. I need privacy. Seriously. No, he wants to unwind. Honestly, if you say... Excuse me. I'm sorry. I'm being serious about it. He doesn't use your privacy. I know, but you said... And I think a lot of women think this. It's not that. Do they not? Do women not think that the reason that we want our time... No. That's not what I think at all. No girl's thinking that's what you're going to be doing. You're out of your mind. I need to be in another room. I need some... privacy. I mean, in our house, he says Todd time. I need Todd time. Even Jenna, my stepdaughter, is like, he loves his Todd time. But it's not. He goes in there and plays a video game or plays the music and reads a magazine. He does something where he just like unwinds on his own. Okay. And your question to me was, well, what if Rebecca wants her time, her Rebecca time?
She doesn't really get it. Oh my goodness, no. Okay, you're going to take the kids? Okay, you take all the kids then and let her have two hours in her room. She didn't have the kids when I'm doing that time. Well, she doesn't get the opportunity to do that kind of stuff. And that's how it is, not just in your house, in most houses. If that was the deal, if it was like, hey, you need to watch the kids while I have my alone time, that would stink. Man time is a priority over woman time, and it's not fair, is what I'm saying. No, I think women... women need a break from the kids. Of course. But I don't think that women, maybe they are. Well, L.O.B. I know is. You want time where you're just alone. Decompress. Yes. That's what I call it. Decompress. Decompress time. Yeah. And I do too. I think there's plenty of stuff where women wouldn't want to be, like when guys go play poker, like. Nine women out of ten don't want to go join that. But a softball thing where there's other girls. It's because there's other girls. It's just fun. It's because there's other girls. It's because there's other girls there. M1 Brian from Fallbrook. Are you there? I'm here. Good morning. What's your theory? My theory is that she doesn't trust him. She's checking up on him. I don't know. There's something in the relationship where...
You know, it's okay for a guy to have his man time and his alone time. But when there's other women involved, either you trust them or you don't. And I think she wants to be a part of it just so she can keep an eye on. If I was in a co-ed softball team, which I never would be, Rebecca would not be concerned that I'm, how you doing, baby? Well, that's because you have big jobs. Yeah, that is why. And if our kids grew up and she said, hey, I want to join, I would say, I don't know. Me personally, I would probably go, oh, okay, cool. I probably wouldn't have a problem. But if I did, I could see saying, well, join the league. Get on a softball. Get on one of the teams. Not yours? Not if that time was important to me to do on my own. Yeah, if that was your only release, you know, from your wife, then that's pretty weak that she would horn in on your only release. That's a weird way to put it. What? If that's your only release from your wife. Yeah, okay, fine. If that's your only Todd time. If that's the only parole you get from your wife. Listen, I've got...
I've got mine. I go every Sunday and play baseball with my friends. I take that ball and chain. I take a key. Exactly. If I didn't have that, I would be a different guy around the house. Can she come watch you play? Sure, if she wants to. Oh, but why can't she play? Because she can't play. We're all men. Well, if it was men and women. Yeah. She did play on my co-ed team. I'm just talking about this guy's bit. My wife played on my co-ed softball team. How dare she? Why'd you play softball? Because it was for work. Deal. It was like five years ago. Why did you play softball? Go get him, Jeep. Well, he was saying, you know, that only fairies. No, I just haven't. You know what my problem with softball is? I played softball for a lot of years, and I start seeing these guys show up with all the fancy gear. I'm like, they throw it underhand. That's when I started playing baseball. I'm like, they're throwing underhand. You got batting gloves. You got shin guards. You got elbow pat. What are you afraid of? Weren't you on a softball team in Rancho Bernardo about four months ago? Yeah, because I was bored. I was bored. And I stopped playing. Immediately, I was like, I can't do this anymore. And I didn't go to, like, the last ten games. I'm looking at your buddies behind you from the Tipsy Crows. Yeah. He just gave a dissertation on what kind of, yeah. Play softball, bro. That's right. I have a challenge. I was on a softball team. Never again. No, dude. I went to, like, four games. I was like, this is lame. I can't do this. Can we please get...
A high school girl who is a pitcher on a softball team. Yes. To pitch. That's different. That's fast pitch softball. Yes. That's different. It's softball. They pitch underhand. That's what you just said. No. In the rec leagues, they throw it 16 feet in the air. You just said underhand. So that's what they do. I'd step in the box. Please. Would you? Yeah. Hell yeah. Against a high school. Yes. High school pitcher. High school girl. I pitched back in the day and it's not easy. Grab a ball. High school girl. I want. We need. Grab two. Why is your goal to embarrass me here? I'll tell you why. Because you just put people that play softball. And you played in a softball league. I said I have a problem with softball. I'm not putting anybody down. That's my opinion. You have a problem with atheists. That's your opinion. I don't have a problem with atheists. I don't have a problem with atheists. Wait, wait, wait. I'm reaching. Yeah, you're reaching. I'll think of something I have a problem with. I got a problem with... I got a problem with liars. Yes, you have a problem with liars. I got a problem with liars. Prostitutes? Right. Now, if I just... Oh, my God. Now, if I just joined a club for liars... The Liars Club. If I just joined the Liars Club, wouldn't you go...
Wait a minute, dude. You were just in a freaking club for liars. Absolutely. But it was about six months ago. And my answer would be like, yes, I was in a liars club. I was. But it was like six months ago. I played like four games and I'm like, I can't do this anymore. And I was bored one night. I wanted to lie. Okay. Sorry. I needed some time out of the house during the week. Got it. And then I quit. It just seems like for somebody that was so against softball. Yeah, I've always had a problem with softball. I had a problem with it when I was playing it. I was like, God, this is lame. This is lame. This is lame. All right. Too much effort? Oh, boy. You're going to drive him over the edge. You're going to drive him over the edge, Jay. Eject, eject, eject. You wiener pinching son of a gun. Oh, my goodness. Hey, that's the hurt talking. That's the hurt talking. It's the truth. Where's our friend Woods? We want him back. Left him in Santa Clarita. I know why. Why? Because the hat is in the building. It's the bad luck. The bad luck hat's here. His hat is here because someone's picking it up to take it to Europe. It's here. And look. We had his. You know better. Seriously. What is it called? A newsboy hat. He used to wear a newsboy hat. Sienna didn't like it. She thought it was bad luck. Whenever he would wear it, he was a cyclone. We called him cyclonic. She stole it.
And she sent it or somebody. I stole it from Woods. And then I sent it to New York. And her friend took pictures of it in front of like the New York Times. Letterman. Letterman. Central Park. She sent it back to me. And now one of our M1s is taking it to Europe to take pictures with it across Europe. And they're picking it up today. So it's here in the building. Where's that bad boy? I just put it at the lobby. That's great. It's a bad luck house. It'll get you. I told you. Get you every time. How'd this turn about me? I'm talking about this guy. I love boobs too. I love blue boobs of all sizes. I just don't think they have to be giant or rubbery. Best and worst barbecue foods coming up in a minute. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Oh man, crazy story out of San Diego. If you have children, be very careful who is watching and spending time with them. A karate instructor was charged to 26 years in state prison yesterday. He carried out a sexual relationship for 10 months with a teenage student, a male student, and he was also ordered to register as a sex offender. The victim, now 25 years old, testified and said they had oral and the not good time to sex about 300 times in 10 months. Yeah, he said whenever he would refuse the karate instructor, the instructor would shut down emotionally and cry, according to the boy.
Just sad, scary. So good thing he's going to be in jail for 26 years. Yeah. Also, crazy story out of Atlanta. The owner of a beauty supply store said that thieves rammed a car through the front door of the beauty supply shop. and made off with about $10,000 in hair extensions at 3 a.m. yesterday. Security video showed five masked intruders jumping over the counter and grabbing armloads of hair extensions before running off and driving the car from... They rammed in with the car, then reversed it and drove off. They don't know who the people are, but I'm assuming women. Don't you just watch eBay and wait for that to come up on eBay? I thought there was a safe in here, but... Just take this weave. Grab the hair. Just grab the hair, man. We've got to get something. You just checked Craigslist for people selling 8,000 weaves. I don't want to know where to go. Let's call the gold. Woods, what's going on in sports? Well, Ohio State is in trouble again. They've been in trouble last year for Jim Trestles withheld some knowledge about his players exchanging goods, things like Big Ten championship rings for tattoos and other things now.
Another guy has come out. He's a receiver. His name is Ray Small. And he said he sold Big Ten championship rings for cash and that car dealerships around there were hooking up all the players with discounts. Jim Trestle is said to have known about this, has withheld evidence. So it's snowballing in Columbus right now for Ohio State. And Jim Trestle always been, allegedly, a man of really strong character. And it's just coming out. Bad news for that guy and that team. Already five of his top players are suspended for next year, as is he. So, going to be an interesting year for those guys. And if you didn't hear earlier, the Padres are back in action tonight against the Nationals. 4.05 p.m. in Washington. Clayton Richard against John Lannan. There it is. Beast. Let's see. So, the barbecue foods that are the best and the worst. Yes. What do we got, Sienna? Well, there's... According to main dishes, they're saying barbecue with a cheeseburger is, if you're having a cheeseburger, that's the worst. Hot dog is much better. Cheeseburger's the worst? Yeah, 510 calories about, and hot dogs have 300. If you cook a, most people know this, but if you don't know this, if you cook a burger on a grill, don't press it with a spatula. I do it. Don't. I do it. I'm telling you don't. Because of the juices.
Yeah, it's good to try. I don't like a juicy burger. That's my bit. What? I don't like a juicy burger. Why would you? Well, I don't like when I bite into it and it gets all soft. I don't like it. I like my burgers medium well to well done. You like it dry? I like my steak medium rare. Why not just have a steak? It's weird, yeah. That's why I rarely grill burgers. Rarely. If you do grill a burger. Medium rarely. Then don't. If you do grill a burger, don't press on it with a spatula. These side dishes, which is worse, potato salad or coleslaw? Of course, potato salad. Yes, go with the coleslaw. What do you want? Potato salad. Yeah, coleslaw's gross to me. There's some weird seeds in it. They say instead of the potato chips with the French onion dip, which is just so good. So good. They say go with the veggies with hummus. Oh, get it. Come to my barbecue. Get it.
Is that what you do, L.O.B.? Oh, how annoying. When you go over to them, people have broccoli out. I put out both, you know. Broccoli with little wet carrots. Little cold, wet, damp, wet carrots. My carrots are dry. Are they? There never are. Every time somebody puts out those little baby carrots, they're always orange and wet. Looks like somebody just sprayed them with the thing on your sink. Yeah, exactly. Now they're talking about barbecue drinks. They say stay away from the margarita and go with a light beer. Except zero calorie flavored seltzer is best. It's disgusting. Sounds exciting. You guys serve at your house, Mike. What is that? It's Hanson's. Holy crap. I go to a barbecue at Mike's house. I go, hey man, can I get a soda? He goes... They're over there in the cooler. Yeah, there's cans of pee over there in that cooler. I opened one up. Carbonated pee-pee. Oh, thanks. Can I get a water? Convince your wife to buy the Hanson's root beer. It's the only one that tastes like real. It's still filthy. It's gross. They all taste good. And the last thing is. It tastes like it's actually made. It tastes like beer with roots in it. No. It's actual root beer. It's like ginger in it. It's so gross.
And the best dessert, stay away from the strawberry shortcake or cheesecake. Cheesecake. What's that, Woods? You like what? Why do you like it so much? Cheesecake. I heard you the first time. I heard you say that you like cheesecake. Is there any other kind of dessert you like or is it just the cheesecake? Cheesecake. You're acting like a Neanderthal. You're fat. What's that? You're fat. Oh, that's not very nice. What kind of dessert you want. Cheesecake! You just broke a glass for it! You just broke a glass. You got so excited about it. You don't have to get so excited. Can't help it. I should have taken you up on your offer to take it to the house today, Miguel. The best dessert to go for is a frozen fruit bar. Oh, rad. Or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I want the cheesecake and the strawberry shortcake and the sundae.
Can I have another fruit bar? Absolutely. Pineapple or coconut? It doesn't matter. I'm miserable here at the Bland barbecue. Yes. That's the name of the family, the Blands. George and Ellen Bland. George and Ellen Bland. Excuse me, Mrs. Bland. Every alternative you've listed so far is in my refrigerator. Lauren O'Bland. Lauren O'Bland. Lauren O'Bland. Lauren O'Boring. Lauren O'Boring. Lauren O'Bland O'Boring. Oh, my gosh. She's going to have the skinniest kids. I know. Just emaciated. Yeah. Kids will come over to the house. They'll be like, hi, Mrs. O'Bland. Hey, Mrs. O'Boring, do you have any fruit roll? Can I have another fruit bar? No, you've already had one. I know, but it didn't taste like anything, so I was hoping to get another one. Why would you want another one if it didn't taste like anything? Because I'm hoping that two of them taste like half of something. The first one didn't. It just tasted like ice with little seeds in it.
Like red ice with little tiny seeds. It tastes like, remember when your mom used to buy those plastic things that you could make popsicles with? The homemade popsicles. And she'd be like, put some orange juice. Oh, my God. So filthy. What? I knew it all the time. Moms would do the filthiest things when we were growing up. Yeah, they would take an ice tray and put orange juice in it, then cover it with saran wrap and put popsicle sticks in. It's just like a creamsicle. Oh, totally, mom. Totally. Except that it's frozen orange juice that tastes like butt. You know, you know, just picture Lauren, she's going to have the blender. This would be her kids. Blender. dump strawberries into the blender, like whole with the stems. In the juicer, in the juicer. It comes out, it's red with the seeds, it's a little green. She pours it into some Tupperware thing that's like popsicle shaped. Ice tray. With a Tupperware plastic thing that pops on the top of it. And when it's done, you have to bang it to try to even get it loose because it doesn't work, you know?
You finally get the thing out. You pull it out. Tastes like ice with seeds in it. Half of it's just freezer burn. Yes. And it's not even in the slightest bit sweet. It just tastes like frozen freaking puree. It's sweet in one spot where all the stuff congealed in one spot. Mom's always trying to throw curveballs by you. You're like, no! Just peel it. It's just like a popsicle. Just like it. The frozen orange juice pops are filthy. They are filthy. And when you're a kid, you're like, I guess, I guess I'll eat it. My God, I want something. I'm seven years old. Yeah. You know what, mom? That kid next door is eating a... Freaking fudgesicle. He's got a drumstick right now. He's got a drumstick. I'm eating frozen orange juice. You mad cry. All the kids in the neighborhood are out at the ice cream check just having the most fun they've ever had. Slimer popsicles. Oh, yeah. You're sitting in the house with your orange juice pop. It's crying looking out the window. It's all acid-y. It burns your tongue when you eat it. Acid-y? Really? Acidic. Acidic.
Those are the guys with the weird hair, the Jewish guys. No, that's... I thought it was acidic Jews. It isn't acidic Jews? I was in New York. I was in New York. I went out there for a charity for artistic kids. Autistic kids. Oh, I thought it was artistic. Little sumbitches can draw. Paint, boy. Paint, skulls, everything. I thought it was part of their faith they did LSD. Yeah. Isn't that the deal? I thought that was a thing. So I go out there, I see all the acidic Jews at the airport. Ain't what it is? I said, man, how'd you guys get so acidic? Woods, did you do anything mischievous as a kid? Oh, dude, really? Well, I mean... Stupid stuff that now as you look back, you go, that was stupid. Stupid is not even the right word for it. Monstrous is the word for some of the things we did senior year of high school. Always senior year. Had a group of guys we ran around with. There were seven of us. And we never left each other's side. We did everything together. We used to have some pops.
illegally. And we would, oh God, I can't believe I'm going to admit this on the radio. We would pull over in neighborhoods and we would take golf clubs out of the car. Oh my gosh. We would tee up in somebody's front yard. Oh wow. And we would just tee off at about three in the morning in two neighborhoods. Just as hard and as hard as we could hit it. Didn't expect that. That's pretty hardcore. At the house? At houses. In neighborhoods. I was like, Yeah, I used to teepee. Did you break windows and stuff? Yeah, all kinds of stuff. Oh, my. You know, you do it, and then you jump in the car, and you peel out, and you might peel out through somebody's yard. Oh. Yep. That was our thing. We used to break people's legs. I could show you. Dogs, cats, livestock. Baby seals, bald eagles, anything endangered, really. Every once in a while, I want to feel like a kid again. Just go out and do it. Yeah, just break stuff's legs. We used to listen to this album from the Beastie Boys, and we would egg cars. Moving cars? Yep. If I'd have been caught, I'd have deserved to have been beaten up. Severely. Yeah. I don't know what...
We were thinking. We weren't thinking. We were being D's. Well, here's the thing. I think that when you're specifically a boy, when you're a boy and you're 17, your brain doesn't operate the same as when you're older. Oh, no. It just doesn't operate the same. First of all, the brain convinces itself that it's bulletproof. It really does. 17 years old, you really can convince yourself that you're bulletproof. Secondly, you don't believe that your bones are made of bones. You'd think they're made of rubber or plastic. Steel. Yeah. Yeah. Because you remember jumping out of the back of trucks and stuff like that? Oh, yeah. Stupid stuff. Or jumping off of houses. Oh, yeah. Jumping off of houses. My mom, I thought my mom was going to lose her mind because my brothers used to jump off the house. How about this one? You ever have brothers that would take bikes up onto the roof? Oh. Holy cow. My brothers would take bikes on the roof and ride them into the swimming pool. Oh, my.
That's pretty bad. I built a hand glider. What's a hand glider? A hand glider. A hand glider? A hand. Out of sheets. One more time. And trees. What was it? Hand. Hand glider. Oh, a hang glider. Sorry. I was so close. You have to strike gold. I made a ham glider. So it's ham. Ham. Right? There's carved ham and it had handles. You just hold onto the pig's legs. Hey, where's my ham glass? I said hand glider. It sounded so good. And he's irritated. I said hand glider. What now? Dumbass. D-head. Write it down. Oh, isolate. Ha, ha, ha. Hand glider. Hello. Hand glider. How did you make a hand glider? We cut trees down. Pine trees down.
Like small ones. Pioneer days, right? And nailed them all together and built it and went on top of our two-story house and jumped off. Yeah, that David Crackett was a big summer bitch. You made it out of wood? Yeah, made it out of wood and nails and cheats from my mom and dad's bed. So you went straight down, right? Oh, fast. That's incredible. I crashed. It was two-story house. I was like, woo! Dude, like you didn't kill yourself. Pretty sure that's when I got the compression fracture in my back. Can't say it. Really? Yeah. Dude. We used to take, one of my friends had a trampoline, and we would take the trampoline and position it just so, so that when you stood on the top of his garage, you run off the garage, down the slope, onto the trampoline, into the pool. Always a pool. Dude, one slip up, broken neck. Like, you're done. One slip up, your foot slips, you're done. Think about this for a second. Where were moms ever working? My mom was working. Always, right? Yeah. Like moms and dads were never around for this. I remember a kid in our neighborhood, we all got a hold of a piece of rebar. Okay? It was a piece of rebar. And when you're a kid, rebar is cool and fun. I don't know what it is. I promise you. They put it in cement to hold the structure together. It's brown.
twisty metal. It pokes out of cement. You see it poking out of cement? We found a piece of rebar. This kid Jason thought it'd be fun to just throw the thing up in the air and we all have to get out of the way. He'd throw it as far as he could up in the air and we'd all have to wait until the last minute. We'd all get together and then we'd wait until the last minute and then you'd jump down the line. That was the game. Got his sister in the back. Got her in the back. You are kidding. Yes, and this is what we remember about it. So the rebar goes into her back, and all of us go, and we run. We all run away, all of us. We're all like seven. We all ran away. She didn't run very far, did she? Let me tell you something. Oh, my heart. God rest her soul. No, no, no. She's fine. But that kid, Jason, got his arse. Oh, belted up real good. His dad executed punishment with extreme prejudice. Wow. Yeah. His dad was a Marine. Oh. His dad was a Marine, and he did some tactical maneuvers on Jason's backside. You ever do Roman Candle Wars with your friends? No. You take Roman Candles, and we used to go to this tennis court.
And four guys on one side, four guys on the other. And everybody was equipped with Roman candles. And those are the ones, the tube, that when you light the end, it goes, and it shoots a fireball out. So we'd have Roman candle wharves shooting flaming balls of fire at our friends. Holy cow. That's standard in Texas. Oh, yeah. Oh, here was the standard one. This was standard with my brother Steve. This is something I would never, ever do. My brother Steve, no problem doing this. Had absolutely no problem with the danger of it. Used to put on Kiss concerts that looked really good. Didn't charge people to come watch it. And they'd play Kiss and they'd lip sync, right? They built a stage, took forever. And they made these costumes that were badass. I mean, they looked for real. They wore the makeup, the whole deal. Steve was Gene Simmons. He would do the thing with a lighter and hairspray from his mouth. Oh, he'd definitely hold it up, yeah. And all it had to do was suck back into that can and blow up in his face. It never did. Right. Yeah, it won't. We did Aquanet on our hands and then lit our hands on fire. Like Paul Stanley in Heavens on Fire video. Yeah. Now, don't do that, kids. Kids, don't do that. Because it'll actually kill you. It'll burn you. Third degree burns. It was not smart. We didn't do a lot of smart stuff. Did you ever play the game with the knives where you stand and you throw the knife down the ground by the guy's foot and you had to step across? And then when you got pretty far, you could throw the knife in the middle?
and try to make it stick, and then you get to put your feet back together. We would throw knives at each other's feet. Oh, my. M1 Che from Fallbrook. Hey, how's it going, Mike? Good. The second story roof. Me and my buddies were looking out the window, and we're like, it'd be cool if we jumped into a gravel pit. My friend was reconstructing the house, so they had a bunch of gravel, so we all jumped. But by the time I jumped, I remember jumping and my body flexing so quickly. Then I hit my face with my own knee. Oh, gosh. Oh, wow. I gave myself a black eye. Oh, my God. Oh, it hurts. It was one of the gnarliest things. Everybody just stopped jumping from then on. Can you imagine giving yourself a black eye with your knee? See you again. Whoa. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. I just want to come. All right.
When we come back, you're going to find out what it is at your job that could be making you fatter. It's next. You open up the office fridge and find your oven gold turkey sandwich has been stolen, pilfered, pinched. So what can you do? Well, you could get a cheap turkey sandwich from a sandwich chain, something made from ground-up parts, preservatives, and fillers like seaweed extract. Nobody's going to steal that.
Or you could stand by your oven gold turkey and take defensive measures. Invest in a padlocked lunchbox, set up a fridge cam, or simply eat your lunch at 10 a.m. before anyone has a chance to steal it. Sure, it's a little extra effort, but a great turkey sandwich needs protecting. And oven gold is the best there is. Boar's Head. Compromise elsewhere. Drinking underage at a Dave Matthews concert in Camden, New Jersey. A little moon face there. Yeah, I guess so. My aunt...
Wrote under the cap, I don't remember your face being so big. Oh, wow. Oh, well, okay. You know what they say about people with big heads? Big wiener? Big brains. Oh. Big brain on Brad. What's the deal with desk jobs, Sienna? They're making you fatter. Why? Well, a new study is saying that one of the factors that is driving America's obesity epidemic... Mikey? You know what's making people fitter? Hosting something called The Mackie Show. You know what makes people fitter? Canceling their appointment to work out. Jay! And then eating a... I Dream of Jeannie cake or whatever that is you have over there. I Dream of Jeannie. I don't understand that one either. I don't know. I can't see what that cake is. How is that anything like I Dream of Jeannie? Is that not a lamp? Let me explain what it is. It's a little figurine of me. Bald head. Goatee. Tank top. And then the cake is a round cake.
theme is sort of a Mexican theme. It's cactus and sombreros and, you know. But I could see how he would think that that was I Dream of Jeannie. It's you coming out of the cactus is what it is. Alright. He must have seen you blinking and thought, you know, I Dream of Jeannie. Yeah. Was Barbara Eden bald with a goatee? Y'all know I can't see that far. From here it looks like a genie coming out of the lamp. Now listen. Now listen, everybody has faults. Everybody's got faults. My fault is my eyesight. Yeah. It's the only fault I have. When you're 107, your eyes tend to go first. Mike, you got a lot of faults. I did it on purpose because the government wanted to study me and I couldn't be all perfect. So, you know. I said, I can't see that good. But I do have blood that'll turn into Viagra. Absolutely. You can drink my blood and you're good to go. Yeah. You want to know how Lestat got so powerful in that movie? Drink my blood. So, if there was something, is there anything, Woods, that you would love to have if your wife would allow it? Girlfriend? No, not like that. No, Woods, like what I meant. A motorcycle. Waistline. Me too. Oh, wow. Gosh, darn, that hurt. Ow.
I almost just said a bad word. I almost just said a bad word. I know it. I almost did. I had to bite my tongue. Oh, waste. Oh, my God. Did you hear that? No. What did he say? I had to almost bit my tongue. He goes, it goes to show you'll eat anything. Are you that hungry, fatty? Best job ever. You gone through all the food, now you're chewing your own tongue? Just like eating cow's tongue, I guess. Gosh darn, you're going to start on your own cud? Me too. Motorcycle. Yeah, not allowed. I ran it by her. She's not having it. And would like to have one. I wouldn't drive on the highway. I didn't know you talked to Jamie about that. Yeah. She said no? When we went to do our appearance at San Diego Harley, I go, babe, would you ever consider letting me have one? Just for like tooling around the neighborhood. She's like, no, that's not going to happen. Yeah, Rebecca started crying.
Jamie didn't cry, but she was vehemently against it. Yeah, Rebecca cried because she equates it like you get the motorcycle, then you die. Yeah. She's a widow then. You get the motorcycle, and then you're dead. I know this. You will die. Yeah. What about you, Jay? I've got everything I want. I've got motorcycles. I've got bikes. I've got love. I make love several times a day. Health. Health. I'd like to have a Weekend Warrior camping thing. It's got the back door that you can drop down and drive all your vehicles inside of it. Well said. I'm reading a text. Woods just showed me. It's from his wife. It says, girlfriend, period, really, question mark, a-hole, period. Maybe them just jokes. Them just jokes. Just making jokes. Just trying to be dynamic. That's all I'm doing. That's all I'm doing. I love you so much. I'm glad I don't get stuff like that from Kim. I don't have to. You know why? Because I talk about how much she pleases me. I talk about how in love I am.
How great our marriage is. Yeah. Let me read some texts. Here, let's see. You're perfect. You're the best. Thanks for last night. That was great. How are you so strong? And let me see your birthday to tip. To tip. Because I don't believe you're only 47. You feel like a 21-year-old. Oh, my. My goodness, rush home. Please hurry. I am so lucky and in love. Brad Pitt who? These are all texts from my wife, Kim. Oh, yeah. Hey, can we put the washing machine... On Craigslist, since we got your stomach. And we ain't got no use for it anymore. That's right. We can just wash clothes on your washboard abs. Pfizer called again and want another sample of your DNA to make Viagra. Chuck Norris called. Wants to know what time the lessons are today.
The most interesting man in the world called, said he's sad that you're stealing his bitch. Obama called, and he wants to know how he can be more likable like you. History called. You're still there. The future. The future. Sorry. That's the future. I got what you meant. Thank you. All right. Well, I'm going to talk about the guy that kept his wife's body in the freezer for 10 years and why. We'll tell you next. Finally. Very inspirational lyrics. I don't listen to the lyrics. I can't tell what he's saying. But I like the song a lot. Google it. You'll really like it. This one is like he's going... But I like it. Yeah. That's why Japanese people are really into American heavy metal. They don't know what they're saying, but it sounds good. But I like it. Tonight's 8 o'clock album, Raj. Great.
That was sweet. Do it again. Tonight's 8 o'clock album. Rush! There you go, Garrett. Much better. Permanent Waves. What a great album. I don't know that record. What's on it? Anything I know? Yes. Here. I've never heard of it either. It's such a good album. It's the one with the chick on it. They had a chick on one of their records? Yeah. It's weird. She looked like Jackie Kennedy. Spirit of Radio is on Permanent Waves. Oh, man. Love that song. Yeah. Looked at her radio puzzled right now. I think those guys ever played online computer games? Handles? For their code name? Rush? Oh, yeah. Their online computer games. Think they have funny handles? Yeah. Oh, boy. Wow. That's a reach. Yeah, no, no, no. Rush is pretty... No, Woods, don't do that. Woods. I'm out. Careful, there's liquids. No, Rush.
Remember, they used to play video games. Three day weekend. Three day weekend time. Huh? There weren't even online video games when that came out. So it's hard to have a code name or a handle if there's not a game in existence. Oh my gosh. Kathy, call out today. Don't like it. Oh, boy. So you guys got that going for you. Woods is tired and so is Jay. They were up late last night. And I mean late. Some of us are up longer. He's just going to keep going. Hey, Woods, if I could turn that mic off, I would. I know. I can't turn that mic off. I know. I cannot. I just want to go home. Me too. Just get in bed. It's a long weekend. It's a long weekend. You know what I mean?
You guys are a dynamic duo. Anybody got anything they want to promote this weekend that they're doing? Any appearances? I'm going to a show tonight at the Belly Up, the Twilight Singers. Join me if you must, if you will. Oh, thank you, Garrett. Garrett! Aw, he gave you the Permanent Waves album. Rad. Nice. Natural science is on here. Good. All right, Woods. That's what you teased. Yeah, that guy kept his wife's body in a freezer for 10 years. Why did he do it, Sienna? Well, first of all, what state do you think this happened in? Florida. Yeah, you're right. All of them are from there. A man kept her body in a freezer for a decade so that he could continue to collect her benefits. His name was Alan Dunn, and he committed suicide last August at the age of 86. A woman was helping prepare his estate, and she found a body in the freezer they believed to be his wife. Unbelievable. Creepy. Very, very creepy. Yeah.
All right. End of the show on Friday. I give you my testimony. And what that is, is my story. And the reason that I do, because a lot of times people wonder, well, why? How can we talk about that stuff? I do so that it will hopefully aid people that are going through the same thing. A lot of the story is about addiction. I was addicted to alcohol. I used to be so addicted to alcohol. that I had to drink in order to stop shaking. I drank so much when I was in Texas that one day I got up, went to the radio station, and I was peeing blood. And it was bad. It was really bad. That's how bad my drinking was. And I had to go to the emergency room. And I remember being really ashamed going to the emergency room. And I remember them asking me a series of questions about it.
And I didn't know the answers. I didn't know why it was happening. And I wanted to believe that it could be anything else than what it was. Which was that I was drinking too much. But the truth was I was drinking too much. I remember I was dating Rebecca at the time. And I told her that I was going to go to some AA meetings. And I was not ready to quit drinking. Just to try everything to quit drinking. I remember she would cry. She wanted me to quit drinking so bad. She would tell me things that she was concerned. Sometimes I would be, you know, we were in a long distance relationship. She was in San Diego and I was in Texas. And we'd be talking on the phone and I'd pass out. There are all kinds of things that were happening that were really concerning her. And I got back to California and nobody knew this. But when the radio station put me up at a hotel.
I would walk down the street to this liquor store and I would buy bottles of alcohol, bring them back and just drink these bottles of alcohol. Every day I was drinking these bottles of alcohol. Ashamed. Completely ashamed. I remember I would visit Rebecca sometimes and I would white knuckle it through the weekend. I couldn't wait to get to the airport so that I could start drinking, drink on the plane, get off the... The plane, get a taxi cab to a liquor store, buy alcohol, go back and just start drinking by myself. That was my life. 2003, I knew, I knew that I was headed to getting arrested or dying because I was smoking and I was so addicted to alcohol. And that could be you. If it is, go to MikeyShow.com and at the top of the page, it says help. And if you click there on the help, there's all kinds of resources for you.
to be able to get some help. In 2003, I gave up. I completely gave up. I had this conversation with God where I said that I was sorry for all the stuff that I had done because I knew that I was morally bankrupt. I did the most filthy, disgusting things and I was morally bankrupt. And I said that I was sorry and I asked God to forgive me and I asked him to come into my life and change me. And it was this very slow process, but he started working on me and he changed me. He turned me into somebody new. And it uses me today in this way. Uses me in a variety of ways. If you go to iTunes, you can search VOM. I do a Christian podcast that you can check out. You know, I do this wrap up on Friday and I think to myself, what if I die this weekend? If I die this weekend, then I hope that I left something to you that would be useful.
That's it. That's what I hope, that I left you something. And so if you're addicted to anything or if you're going through anything depression-wise, you can check out those resources and hopefully listen to this song, which is inspirational. It's called Pieces, and it's by a band called Red. And I love the lyrics because they remind me so much of where I was at that time that I gave my life to Jesus Christ. Enjoy your three-day weekend, and we'll come back on Tuesday and do this all over again. The Mikey Show's out late.
