The show opened with Mikey welcoming M1 Nation and quickly moved to Woods' bizarre story about tearing his shirt to show his unchanged baby nipples. News segments covered a San Diego suicide linked to a woman and her children, the National Spelling Bee featuring Snigna Nandipadi, and Shaquille O'Neal's retirement announced via a low‑quality Twitter video and jokes about his movie Kazam. Later bits included Chris Christie's controversial helicopter trip to his son's baseball game, the unfolding Anthony Weiner Twitter photo scandal, and a deep dive into the Casey Anthony trial with analysis of the doll‑cleaning testimony. The program wrapped up with a psychopath test discussion based on John Ronson's book, a bathroom‑humor routine about floaters and martinis, and striking Facebook usage stats, plus a shocking Utah mother accused of trying to sell her daughter's virginity.

Gorgeous outside. I mean, oh, isn't it nice? It's the Mikey Show, and we're ready to go here on a Thursday. Probably feels like a Wednesday because of the short week, but let's do this. M1 Nation, line them up, 570-1949. What's M1 Nation? M1 Nation is Mikey Show listeners. You are loyal and faithful to the Mikey Show. All other shows can suck it. And you listen to The Mikey Show exclusively. It's the number one preset on your car radio's dial. You tell people about The Mikey Show. You flash your Mikey Show sticker. You live and breathe The Mikey Show. You flash The Mikey Show. That's right. Well, no. You said flash your sticker. I said you flash us. I thought you meant...
You said I was fine, Spider. No, not like that. Woods just actually tore his shirt open looking at his little tiny baby nipples. They've never grown since he was baby. They're the same size as when he was born. 570-1949. Call in. Say hi. Talk about anything you want to talk about. 949mikey at gmail.com is the other way that you get a hold of us. Welcome, and let's get right to it. I want you to know tomorrow Pick a Scene will happen at 8 o'clock. Pick a scene is... We do it on Monday. We draw two names out of a basket of us here on the Mikey Show, and then we draw the scene. The two names that were drawn were Jay and Woods, and the scene is the Animal Crackers scene from Armageddon, which they will perform tomorrow. They will be filmed as they perform it. They will do their lines. They will have the music, and the whole thing will happen. And if you don't know what that Animal Crackers scene is...
Do yourself a favor and either see Armageddon or watch that scene on YouTube. Word of the day is orange. So when you hear me say orange between now and 10, caller 9 gets a pair of tickets to Indy Jam. FM 94.9's Coastal Invasion 2011. It's sold out. And so if you want to come to our Indy Jam, you got to get tickets through us. That's how you do it. Big stories out there. And you call in about these stories, you call in about whatever you want. But there's a big story out there about a guy's body that was discovered here in San Diego, which led to some more discoveries. Yeah, this happened yesterday. A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was actually on his way to work on the 125 and noticed an abandoned car. He went over and found a man's body in the ravine 150 feet below. They believe that this guy jumped and committed suicide off the freeway. And then they found that the car he was driving was linked, was registered to an apartment.
So they went over there and actually found a woman's body, 41-year-old Mary Alvarez. They don't know the man's name yet, but she was actually an employee at San Ysidro High School who hadn't been to work for a few days. And her two children, their bodies were found in the apartment. Is it all linked? Yeah, that's what they think because the man who committed suicide, you know, by jumping is what they believe he did, was registered to that house. Now, he wasn't the father of the children, but apparently there was some kind of relationship between he and the woman. But they don't know the possible motive. They don't know what the deal was, but just sad story. Another big story this morning is the spelling bee here in San Diego for the little kids. S-O-L-I. L-O-Q-U-Y. Soliloquy. Better not even. That's for sure. The kids are competing for more than $30,000 in cash and an engraved trophy. And just in case you're wondering, avifana is spelled A-V-I-F-A-U-N-A. Avifana. Avifana. Masala is spelled M-A-S-A-L-A. I know. I've been to Indian restaurants. I know how to spell masala.
Now I know. I've never had a spelling bee. Well, you've got to make track. It hurt? I would have been terrible as a little kid at a spelling bee. Oh, my. Awful. And then when they ask that whole country of origin stuff, like that helps. Takes them like 20 minutes. It does help, actually. Yeah, I know. If you don't like root words. I know. It can take 20 minutes. It was a girl that spelled those words right, Avifana and Masala. Her name is Snigna Nandipadi. We know her. Well, we don't know her personally, but we've heard her name before. You don't forget Signiana Nandipadi. That's true. Snigna Nandipadi. She's a 7th grader. She's a 7th grader at Francis Parker, and she is one of the 41 students that's going to be competing in the semifinal round of the National Spelling Bee, which is going to be on ESPN tonight. ESPN tonight? Think she's nervous? Yeah. $30,000 she could win. $30,000. $40,000, sorry. Wow. It's not exactly a sport. Yeah, I know. It's a lot of Barbie dream houses, too. $30,000. She's probably really hoping she wins that. Go, Cigna Nandapati. Yeah. Come on, Cigna. That's why Lauren is wearing her Nandapati t-shirt right now. It's true. It looks good. Full support. Thank you. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show.
41 years old. Woodsy is our sports guy. He's 35. L.O.B. is our assistant producer. She's 30. Sienna is our news girl. She's 26. Jay is our producer. He's 47. And our phone screener today is Chris. He's 22. What was that? What is that in reference to? I hit a button on accident. Sure you did. It just happened to be that one. It's all right. And then, oh, let's take a phone call. Some of you are calling in. This is M1 Bear from San Diego. Hi, Bear. What's up, guys? What's going on? I just got into town. I was gone a week. I just want to say it's so good to hear your guys' voice again. Where were you? I was suffering in Hawaii. Do you have R2-D2 in the car with you? Yeah, what was that? Oh, sorry. But, hey, Mikey, the Tom Thomas store, man, is still trying to backorder their shirts, dude. He must have wiped that place clean. The guy couldn't get anything. He stopped in there. The racks were empty. I don't wear Tom Thomas. Don't you? Hey, I don't wear it. He does. What island did you go to? Oahu. Look at you. Wow. Fancy. Fancy pants. Welcome back, Brer. Thanks, man. Good to hear you guys. All right, man. We love you.
Woods, what's the latest on Shaq? Shaquille O'Neal, the big diesel, the big Aristotle, is retiring from the NBA. That guy played 19 years. He won four NBA titles, three NBA Finals MVPs, one league MVP, and it was a 15-time All-Star. So he'll be a Hall of Famer for sure. Hall of Famer, and the Lakers have already said they are going to retire his number 34. And, you know, for everything that guy did for the sport of basketball, this is probably what he should be remembered for. I'm the man that can grant your wishes. Hey, don't turn your butt on me. I'm the man of the ages. Straight out the pages. Hang on, I'm contagious. Outrageous. Spontaneous. You can't contain this. I am Kazam. Okay, well, thank you, Kazam. Probably the worst movie ever made in cinema. Ernest Goes to Jail. looked like Dances with Wolves next to Kazam. I bet. And, yeah, that was Shaq's foray into acting. And that's what I know I'll remember him for. But he played with the Magic, the Lakers, the Heat, the Suns, the Cavs, and the Celtics. Wow. He'll be missed. He was really good for the NBA. Yeah. He's a hell of an actor, too. 570-1949 is our number if you want to give us a call. And we would love to hear from you. I also have...
He said he put something on his Facebook. Yeah, he retired on Twitter. Oh, on Twitter. Yeah, put a video. Yeah, he put a video. I did have this. I don't know where it is now. It's probably the one you wanted me to play, but I really like the Kazam bit. I'll find it for you. Freestyle intro. I want to play it. I want to hear it. His retirement deal? Yeah. I want to hear what he said because it's really unusual that he did it on Twitter. It's the new bit. It's the new thing, I guess, is that if you're going to retire, you do it on Twitter. The Ohio State athletic director went on YouTube to make his statement about Jim Trestle. I mean, it's just the way things are going now, man. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter. That's the way it is. Yeah. All right. Also. The tornado deal is a big thing, man. Yes, the violent weather is continuing. And yesterday there were at least two tornadoes which touched down in Massachusetts who hadn't seen a tornado since 2008.
Four people, at least, have been killed from that one. Directly, it hit about Springfield, which is a city with more than 150,000 people. This is so weird. And more than 40 people were admitted to hospitals injured yesterday. But meanwhile, officials in Joplin said that they resolved the cases of all the people who were on the missing list from that tornado. And the final death toll there is 134. Wow. I mean, there's obviously a reason that these tornadoes are so crazy this year. I don't know what it is, but I want to know. I want to know why there's so many. In freaking Massachusetts? Yeah. I mean, just everywhere. They're everywhere. And then they're saying that this is going to be a big year for the tornadoes, too. Not tornadoes. I mean, the hurricanes. So you got bad tornadoes and you got bad hurricanes. Yeah. I don't know. But this is the governor of Massachusetts. You'll notice his cell phone is not turned off. As you all know, because we are in an emergency situation, I have declared a statewide... I'll get it. Sorry about that. No problem. A statewide state of emergency and called up. The National Guard will have up to 1,000 guardsmen and women fully deployed by tomorrow morning.
Preliminarily, we have confirmed reports of four fatalities, two in Westfield, one in Brimfield, and one in West Springfield, and an unknown number of injuries. It's early going yet, so those are not final numbers, although we are hoping and praying and working as hard as possible to keep the fatalities limited to those four. There's been extensive... Property damage in Hamden County in particular. Some 48,000 customers of National Grid and Western Mass Electric are without power at this point. We don't yet have the numbers from NSTAR and from Unitil. tree damage and debris on roads and a number of live wires down right now. And so it's very important that people stay off roads and at home in affected areas. Pretty nuts, right? So for that area to be hit by that, that's insane. It's very strange. It's really weird. Okay, I found it. Here is the clip of...
Shaquille O'Neal announcing his retirement on Twitter. You know, I'm going to miss the competition. I'm going to miss, you know, the chase for the ring. You know, I'm actually going to miss everything. You know, I was actually raised by my father, you know, to play this game, to endure everything that comes with the game. I think my family did a beautiful job, but father time has caught up with Shaquille. This is what I really don't understand about that. Is that like a phone? Sounds like a phone. Yeah, it's that bad, bad quality. How does he get a phone conversation on Twitter? It's a video. It's a video. Yeah, he tweeted a video. It's so strange. Yeah, you can tweet videos and pictures on there as far as I know. It's so weird. The New Jersey governor is...
gotten a lot of people kind of riled up. But he did. His name is Chris Christie and some people are not happy with him because he decided it was a good idea to get in the state-owned helicopter and take it to his son's high school baseball game on Monday. It's a $12.5 million helicopter and he... They say that he buzzed over the trees in left field right before the game started, landed. He then got into a black sedan with tinted windows with his wife, which drove him about 100 yards to the baseball diamond. Easy, Jason Priestley. Wait, wait, wait. So he's driving like on the grass of the field? Yes. Isn't he ruining the field? Around it. Okay. Okay. And then he's surrounded by bodyguards, he and his wife. And then they go watch the game from the stands until about the fifth inning. They decide it's time to go. Get back in the car, went back to the helicopter, got on the helicopter, and took off. Why did they do that? That's a good question.
Why would they possibly do that? Dude, think if you're the kid. You're like, oh, God, Dad, are you kidding me? I'm just trying to be a kid. Dad, I just want to play ball. I just want to be a little boy. I just... I don't really need to... You don't have to take me... Are you picking me up to take me to my guitar lesson? Is it safe to land that, Dad? If I say it's safe to suck this beat, Captain, it's safe to suck this... First of all, Dad, my name's Bobby, not Captain. And my question is not whether or not it's safe to surf this beach, but whether or not it's safe to land that helicopter. If I say it's safe to surf this beach, Captain, it's safe to surf this beach! Thank you, Dad. Thank you, Daddy. How embarrassing. That's beyond. What a douche move. To not only get out of the helicopter, but... Get picked up by a sedan for 100 yards. I know. I know. Easy. Oh, my. Come on, Gaga. Yeah. 570-194-9 is our number, M1s. This is M1 Daniel from Oceanside. What's going on? Hey, not much. Well, first of all, I just want to let you guys know you guys have the best morning show in San Diego. I appreciate you. I appreciate you a lot. Thank you. In the morning, usually, like every day.
And I've been noticing, like, these plane trails, like the chemtrails or whatever. Jay and Sienna say the same thing. Something's going on. There was, like, a break from it or something, but it started back up again. I don't know if you guys noticed that, too. Bro, I've always seen trails off the ends of planes since I was a little boy. There were circles over the weekend. Like, a two-week, like, break from it. And, like, in the last couple of days, I've seen, like, a lot more. I don't know if it's just me. That's why I'm calling you guys. So maybe you can ask everyone else and they can call in. Well, Daniel, here's my question. I mean, I've seen trails on the end of airplanes since I was a little kid. Different. Oh, yeah. I'm not a big believer in the whole chemtrail thing. But, like, they're picking up a lot. Like, that's all I'm saying. Like, one week they're gone, basically. And then the next day or two, there's, like, four. Like, right now I can see, like, four right now in Oceanside. Well, they were on spring break. Yeah, for a week. A bunch of people were taking pictures of this thing that L.O.B. just showed me, which is a circle, and it's got like an X through it or something. I know. Now, here's the thing. Wow. You know what I think about that? I think that that is one of two things. Well, first of all, you got to know what chemtrails are. Chemtrails are supposedly. Not contrails. Chemtrails. You know, like chemical. Yes. Trails.
You know the white smoke that you've seen behind planes since you were little? Sure. Well, now they're saying that perhaps the government is spraying chemicals on us from a southwest flight. Because it is a southwest plane you see it coming off of, or a delta, or a continental. But those trails that you've seen forever, now people are starting to say, maybe it's not trails. Whatever it is, it's some sort of poison. They full on have admitted that they're working on... There's articles. I showed you the article. They have admitted on they.com. No, it was in a newspaper article where it talked about they're trying to do some work on the atmosphere. They're like, hey, this will repair the hole in the ozone layer. You think a Hawaiian Airlines flight, Mike, is doing the circle chemtrails? Those were for the movie X-Men. Those circle chemtrails? Yeah. Let me just say this about the circle chemtrails.
There's circle chemtrails and they have like an X in them. And a couple of people took pictures of it. And what I have two theories. And then I want to explain my theories. One theory is clownery, meaning Photoshop clownery done by a couple of cool like nerds. Yeah, and they put it out, and then you get it, and then you post it to your Facebook. You didn't see it in the sky? I took this picture. Yeah. Oh, you took it? I saw dozens. Okay. And I was told, I will let you say your theory, but I was told what they were actually for. M1, Captain Mo from San Diego, are you there? What's going on there, Mikey? Show it. Hey, that's ridiculous, man. The circle with the X, think about it. The X-Men movie is coming out. Don't you think? It might be just an advertisement to get people to go see the X-Men, you know? That was the first thing I saw. First thing I thought of, man. Well, okay. We're smarter than this, aren't we? Is that what you heard, Ella B? I heard, yeah. And if you posted something on the X-Men's Facebook page, if you posted the picture, you'd be entered for a prize. Some sort of X-Men prize. All right. Thank you for the call. Let's say that I were government. A government, you know.
person that was going to put chemicals on us, I wouldn't put a circle with an X through it. What would you put? Skull and crossbones? Well, I don't think I would do something so conspicuous. What about a bullseye? Yeah, what about a bullseye? Like, let's say that I'm trying to covertly put chemicals on people. Am I going to do it in a way? I might as well put... spell out, I'm putting chemicals on you. Warning. We're spraying the hell out of you. I wouldn't I would try to make it as inconspicuous as possible. So maybe make it look like the trails you've seen since you were a kid to cover up. I'm tired today. I don't. To each their own. To each their own.
Some people think that they're spraying us. Sienna is a little bit on this train. It just seems weird. It's different now. Because you see them way more often now. They're all the time. You know why you see them way more often? Because I'm aware of it. No, not true. Because I see them way more often now. And they're thicker, longer. Like ovation. Stronger, healthier than they've ever been. I mean, they're different than what I've ever seen as a kid. Yeah, sign me up for that. Really? Yes. I mean, for sure? Not for sure, but I'm allowed to think what I want. Longer than it's ever been. Yeah, it's true. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. Look into the sky, Mike. I'm the opposite of the conspiracy theorist. I don't see him from the couch, so I don't even see him. I see him all the time, but I've always seen him. I saw him when I was a kid when I was outside playing. I don't play much outside anymore, so I really never see him. 570-1949 is our number if you want to give us a call and give us your theory on what you think is happening with these so-called chemtrails. Yeah, this happened over the weekend with the circles and the X's. Well, it makes good sense.
That it could be the promotion. How about this? There was an attempted Gmail hacking that likely came from China. Now, what are we talking Gmail hacking? Flying young fun. Oh, wow. I'm down, Sienna. We understand. Flying. Oh, boy. Google said yesterday that hackers, who they believe were likely based in China, tried to break into hundreds of Gmail accounts, including some big people like senior U.S. government officials, journalists, military personnel, and they stole passwords. But Google said, don't worry, we detected it and disrupted the hackers before anything crazy. That's good. Yes. Well said. Funny. Okay. Not really funny. Why do people that are high ranking have Gmail accounts? Shouldn't... Should have a government account. Yeah. Personal. Personal. Sell donging and stuff. Yeah. That's all they're going to find. Yeah. They're going to find that and they're going to find... Stuff they don't want found. Yeah, I don't want to go... They're going to get... A lot of Evites. BigSenateMan221 at gmail.com. Yeah. They're just going to find a bunch of stuff they don't care about.
570-194-9 is the number. Here's the thing. We have... Do you guys know who Anthony Wiener is? Come on, dude. Maybe I'm saying it wrong. Wiener time. Maybe it's Anthony Wiener. He's the guy, the politician that took a picture of himself in the mirror. It was just gigantic. Didn't he send that picture, Sienna, to somebody and he got caught? His wife got caught and it was a big scandal because he's taking a picture of his body and he put it on Craigslist or something. Was his namesake in the picture? I don't think so. You took the same picture in the back of the year. Oh, yeah, that was me. Yeah, same bit. The flexing bit. I forgot his last name was Wiener. That was me. Have you seen my Wiener? Well, anyway, this guy was on TV and he was talking about it. The New York representative. And he was talking to MSNBC. And he said one of the stupidest things about it that you've ever heard. And we'll play the audio next. That stuff's hooey. You gotta have a screw loose to go in for that sort of thing. Call 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. I got the world by the tail. More of the Mikey Show coming up in minutes. Yeah, boy! On FM 94.9. The president and founder of Mercedes-Benz of Escondido.

Be listening for me to say that between now and 10, then caller number 9 wins. So, Sienna, update me on... Anthony Weiner and what this guy did. He is a congressman and last weekend a photo of him in what they say his bulging underpants was sent to a 21 year old female college student in Seattle.
From his Twitter account. Now, the picture was quickly deleted, but obviously people are freaking out because this is a congressman sending a picture of himself in his underwear. And now representatives of his are saying his account was hacked. And he finally spoke out about it yesterday and said it was a prank. It had to be a prank. Listen, you would have to really be a very politically savvy person to hack an account and be like, wait a second, isn't that Representative Weiner from New York? Yeah, dude. And not Joe Blow from Escondido. Like, give me a break. Anyway, here he is. The picture that went over Twitter to Jeanette Cordova from your account, is that you? Well, let's keep in mind what happened here. I was pranked, I was hacked, I was punked, whatever it is. Someone sent out a picture. I'm an easy name to make fun of, and I think that that's what happened. But that's not a picture of you? You know, I can't say with certitude. My system was hacked. Pictures can be manipulated. Pictures can be dropped in and inserted. One of the reasons that I've asked. So he's clearly saying it's Photoshopped. Right. The firm that includes an Internet security arm is to take a look at what the heck happened here, was to make sure it doesn't happen again. Well, yeah, Congressman, if that wasn't you, you would just say,
That's not me. You would remember if you were to take a photograph of yourself like that. Well, you know, one of the reasons we've asked an internet security firm to come in is because we're not quite sure if it's me. I'm not quite sure. I don't recall, you know, taking that picture. I may have, but I don't remember. It's so hard to remember. It gets really difficult sometimes when you're taking so many photographs as a politician. Sometimes you take so many photographs that you forget if you had a bulging bulge in your underwear in front of the mirror and you're shirtless and you're holding up your Nokia and you're taking a photograph of yourself in my personal bathroom at my home. So I can't, I mean, how am I supposed to be certain? Yeah, I do a lot of cell dunging. So it's, you know, I don't know when it's from. It could be anybody. It could be anybody. To see maybe something was manipulated, maybe something. In fact, it's really within the word. It could be any body. It could be anybody. I don't know if it's my body. My buddy. It could be anybody. Right. I don't know if it's my buddy. It's my buddy. It was dropped in. We don't know for sure what happened here. You will not flat out deny that that photograph is not you. Here's what I will say.
I will say that we're trying to figure out exactly what happened. Oh, my God. I haven't seen it yet. I want to see how good it looks first before I say whether or not it's me. Make a judgment call. Because, yeah, if it was, then yes, it was me. Those were my monogrammed bathroom towels in the background. I don't know. That's what I'm saying. That is a picture of me on the bureau there. Yeah. That's me. The picture is me. But I don't know that the picture that you're talking about is actually me. I'm treating it like a prank and trying to get back to the work I'm trying to do. I understand you. You want to pursue the story, and we're going to try to help you the best we can. Well, we just want to resolve it once and for all. You would know it. This is your underpants, for instance. The question is, I appreciate you continuing to flash that at me. Look, I've said the best I can. Look, I'll be honest with you, Wolf. I have no idea. what underpants i own or don't own the truth of the matter is i get dressed in a dark closet uh i get dressed and the way that i do it is i i sort of feel my way to the to the bureau open it up put my hand in feel around up no socks up no handkerchiefs ah underpants and then i put them on in 48 years of life
I've never seen a pair of my underpants, so I can't recollect or describe to you what any of them look like. Well, if I'm colorblind, too, I don't know if you knew that. Yes. I can't discern color. Everything's black and white. So if you're showing me a picture, yeah, okay, there's a guy, looks just like me. But he looks like a black guy. Yeah, well. I can't even tell his skin. Yeah, is that even a white guy? Is that even a white guy? I don't know. I had to have my assistant say to me, yes, Congressman. this looks just like you right but i was like well i'm glad somebody can tell me because i can't i can't we're going to try to get to the bottom of of what happened here but you know i just want to caution you and you understand this you're a pro that photographs can be manipulated photographs can be taken out from one place and put it another they could be were they in this case the place photos can be doctored um and i want to make sure that that that we know for sure what what happened here you know what will be really what will be really good, Congressman, because I understand how you want to be sure. What will be good is when definitively we can say, yes, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that's your bulge in your underwear, in your mirror, with your camera, and that is, in fact, your chest, your body, and it's you. And then you can say, ah, well.
Good thing we figured this out. I now know. And yes, now I'm embarrassed. Before this, I was just like, what a terrible prank. I keep thinking any second out of the room is going to come. Who's the prob? Ashton Kutcher. He's going to come out any second. It certainly doesn't look familiar to me, but I don't want to say with certitude to you something that I don't know to be the certain truth. But I do know some certain truths here. I didn't send any Twitter picture. The person who allegedly it was sent to, this poor woman who was frankly a victim in all this, didn't get it. She put out a statement saying as much. I don't know her. She doesn't know me. It seems to me that this is what goes on in the Internet world, in the social media world of 2011, that sometimes these things happen. But I don't know. I'm just a crazy caveman. I don't know anything about how these Twitters work or these Facebooks.
So I can't tell you whether or not that was tweet-faced or face-tweeted or any of that sort of thing. I mean, if that was me, which I'm not even sure because I don't know anything about the Internet, who would know except for some hacker, some crazy, what do they call them, packers, hackers, whatever? Hundreds of thousands of times, just about every week, people have spam and hacking that goes on. It seems like I was a victim of that, and I don't consider it. That big a federal offense? Just say it. I think I was... Hang on a second. Gary, what's it called? I was spammed? Is that right? That's how little I know. Hacksawed. Did I get hacksawed? I was hacksawed, right? Gary's looking it up. Gary's my longtime assistant. He's not sure. We're just a couple of cavemen. We know nothing. We don't know anything. That could be my chest. Could be my underwear. I don't know. How hard is this, Mike? Hey, was that your picture? Yeah, actually it was. I've been on a diet and sometimes I take pictures of myself to see how I look after a good workout. Done. I don't like that. Why? That's a lie. Maybe it is, maybe it didn't. Maybe it's not for sure. Maybe the dude was doing something unscrupulous and he should come clean. He's lying now. Yes.
Maybe he was doing something unscrupulous and he should come clean. What does he mean by the girl didn't get it? She signed a statement saying it didn't come to her. I'll tell you. I think what happened was somebody got a hold of this and they tweeted it to someone and maybe that girl doesn't know who he is. What he's mad about is that it got out. I think that what was screwed with was his phone. Somebody got it on his phone and they sent it out. Maybe it's his mistress. Could be. Throw that in there. Hey, could be. Let's see. He's being asked if he's ever done this before. Have you ever taken a picture like this of yourself? I can tell you this, that there are, I have photographs. I don't know what photographs are out there in the world of me. Yes or no? Listen. Holy cow. If somebody says to me, Mike, have you ever taken a picture like this before? No. I don't have the body to take a picture like that. Why would I do that? Why would I do? Now, if I did, because if I had a body like that, I'd go, yeah, I did like four years ago or no, I never. But don't. Well, I'll tell you this. This is what I can tell you about taking pictures of me with the bulge in my underwear. Have you ever taken a picture like this of yourself? I can tell you this, that there are. I have.
I don't know what photographs are out there in the world of me. I don't know what things have been manipulated and doctored. And we're going to try to find out what happened. But the most important reason I want to find out what happened is to make sure that it doesn't happen again. Obviously, someone got access to my account. That's bad. They sent a picture that makes fun of the name Wiener. I get it. You know, touche. Dr. Moriarty, you got me. Oh, my. So, yes, you took the picture. So, yeah, it's you. I can tell you this. Pictures come from cameras. Cameras develop film. Run on batteries. Yes, film is involved. Some have flashes. Some are digital. Cameras have been digital now. Cameras can be posted, or pictures can be posted. You can buy cameras. I know that much. Well, hang on a second. Gary, what is digital again? What does that mean? Is that what I had? Because I don't know this technology thing. I don't know. I can't tell you. Yours was color. I think so. It was color. Gary? Was it color? I know your wife, Huma. She's a great lady. And you're a very lucky guy to be married to her. She works for the Secretary of State, has for a long time. How is she handling all this? Well, she's bemused. You know, she's got some experience. Bemused is a verb. It means puzzle, confuse, or bewilder someone. That's a good word. Yes, you see.
Because we can't figure out who this is, my wife is puzzled and she is bemused. She's not a public person, as you know. I mean, she went the entire campaign in 2008 with probably most Americans not knowing that she was the traveling chief of staff to Hillary Clinton. She's a remarkable, remarkable woman. As my friend Heath Shuler once said about her, you know, I've outkicked my coverage. And, you know, that something like this. would take on this type, that I would wake up this morning and see on a blog, you know, some of the attractive women that Anthony Weiner follows. And one of them is my sister-in-law. I mean, it's gotten bizarre. And... One of them. But you also follow Tila Tequila. What about that one? Well, she was a secretary of defense for the something-something. Loved her reality show. I mean, who didn't? I also follow Kutcher. Everyone follows Kutcher. You're doing your job. You know, I get that. You're trying to follow the story. I follow Charlie Sheen. Am I having sex with her? I sell donging Charlie Sheen now. I follow Wade Boggs. What does that tell you? Donovan McNabb. I follow Donovan McNabb. Am I making love with Donovan McNabb? Apparently I am. Apparently I just, I have, I can't stop myself.
From sending photographs to everybody that I follow. I also follow the master, Brett Favre. Yes, I follow Brett Favre. Have I done that with Brett Favre? You know what I follow? I follow NBC News. Am I sell-donging NBC News? Am I making love to the entire staff? Of NBC News. A big orgy, I guess. Yeah, apparently that's what it is. Bring on the greats. It's because it took place on Memorial Day weekend. There's a lot of pent-up demand or something like that. But I just would hope you'd understand that... You know what? Sometimes things are what they appear. Sometimes a prank is a prank, and that's why I'm trying to treat it that way. Treat it. Treat it. He's digging a hole. He's just digging a big, giant hole. Yeah, the picture was me. Where do you go from there? The picture was me. I'm so embarrassed about it. It's embarrassed my wife, and I'm sorry to her, and I'm sorry to everybody that, you know, da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Done. Over. Over. The longer you keep saying this, foolery, which, by the way, this is the guy that does this, okay, what he's doing. This is the weirdness of this dude's mind. He believes somewhere in the back of there, people are buying it. He believes that there's, and by the way, supporters probably are. Supporters probably are. Supporters will go, yes.
It was manipulated. Supporters will. Think about it, though, man. This is not that big a story. I mean, it's a picture of him in his underwear. But he's married. Okay, but he has a picture of himself in his underwear. But didn't he send it? I thought... It went to an account of a college student in Seattle. Right, but we've heard so much worse. If he came out and goes, yeah, man, I'm friggin' mortified. I had a picture in my inbox of me looking like an idiot in my underwear, goofing around. And somebody hacked it and sent it out. I didn't send it. Now, that part I actually believe. You know, but it's over. Say it. Yeah, just say it. Don't spray it. Fair enough. Did you ever say say it, don't spray it to somebody when you were a kid? All the time. In your nose with a rubber hose. Big player with whoever smelt it, dealt it. Oh, yeah. Green-eyed granny with a hole in a panty. Now, that was back in, that was the first century. 1800s. Green-eyed granny. Yeah, with a hole in the panty. When would one say that? Just whenever you were having a... Whenever you were hanging out with a green-eyed granny that had a hole in her panty. It's filthy. I can't really see how that's an insult. Jay, when would you say that? If somebody said something to you and you'd say, you're a green-eyed granny with a hole in the panty. I don't know. It just seemed to work. It'd have to be female with green eyes for that to even... Yeah, but hey, let me tell you something. If you were, in fact, saying that to a green-eyed girl...
There's nothing more devastating. Nothing. At seven years old. For sure. At seven years old, there's nothing worse you could say to a little girl with green eyes. She'd go home weeping. Hey, green-eyed granny with a hole in your panty. Not a good dog. Not a good dog. Not a granny. This is the sick part of my nature that wants to hear this. Paris Hilton finding out her boyfriend went through her text messages. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I don't know what it is about my... psychotic personality that wants to hear that. I don't know why. I just do. I'm sorry if I offended you. I didn't know you were such a... I met Jen at an arts gallery. I don't know him. I do know him. I knew him years ago. We were on a couple dates. And that is that he asked me to go to dinner and said he wanted to see me. And I said no. So, you know, it's not my fault. Someone's texting me. Like, I can't control what people write me. You can see... Her boyfriend went through her...
And he found texts from some old dude that she used to night vision with or something. I'm not hanging on him back. I'm saying, I have a boyfriend talking about you, saying how in love I am and how loyal you are and I don't have to worry. They are out of my life. This was just last night. He even texted me this morning and said, I'm so sorry. I was drunk. So he just, I don't know. He texted and now he's apologizing. He's some loser I went on a date with. Literally. Everyone is listening to me in here. This is really embarrassing. It's not my fault if people are still obsessed with me. Why are you going through my phone? I left it there. It doesn't mean you have to go through it. It's titillating. It really is. Because Paris Hilton's really hot. He asked her to dinner and she jumped to. He's obsessed with me. It's not my fault. People are obsessed with me. I don't think that you should be having...
Ex-boyfriends or anyone else texting you. I don't think she's texting them back. I don't think it's right. It's not fair. I wasn't thinking. Why would you text them back 20 times? Let me speak to you fellas, okay? He's a big brother. Have you found text messages from a dude on your girlfriend's phone? Did she text him back? If she did, run. Don't walk out of the relationship. Run. Well said. Thank you, Larry King. I wish you were still around. But this is what you should be saying, young men. Let me out. Let me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. Oh, no, no, no. You see, if I have an ex-girlfriend that text messages me, I'm not going to respond because I got a wife or a girlfriend. Now, JIC, there's always that. There's always JIC.
Maybe I do text back if I wanted, just in case. Now, think about a girl or a guy gets a text message from an old lover and does not text back. Would you want to be with a person like that? Woods. Yeah. I would. Holy cow, I would. It also wouldn't bother me if she wrote back, hey, pal, I got married. That wouldn't bother me. That's fine, too. Like, just the one time. Yeah, the one time. Like, get. Hey, get. Hey, get. I got an old man. Wouldn't that make your day? Oh, yeah. day. See, I'd never know, though, because I'd never go through the phone. By the way, fellas, if you feel like you need to go through a phone, run. Don't walk out of the relationship. Let me out. Let me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. Jay, agree or disagree?
I agree, but I don't think you should, if you feel like you need to go through the phone, I think when you're starting a relationship, everybody's suspicious of each other. This ain't a start in a relationship. They've been together for a while. I know, but you say if you feel like you need to go through the phone, run. Well, if you barely are dating somebody and you feel like you need to go through the phone, you have an issue. I think everybody has an issue when you first start dating. When you first start dating, if that's what you're doing when you first start dating. But if you've been dating for a while and she's making you suspicious or he's making you suspicious to the point where you feel you need to go through a phone, run. Don't walk out of the relationship. Let me out. Let me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. I did text back 20 times. I did. You did. No, I didn't. Yes, you did. And he asked you out and you said you'll think about it. I only said that. Oh, wow. That's a different story. To get him to stop texting. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's how you get somebody to stop. Wow. Listen, if somebody texts you and they go, let's get it on, you know what you do to get them to stop is you go, what time, what place? So disarming. It's so disarming. It's so disarming. How is that going to stop someone from texting you? Did you read the nice text that I wrote about you? No. You didn't read the nice things I said about you? The very first one and there was like 20 after going back and forth. No. And the guy talking on me.
He's obviously doing that because he's jealous. I shouldn't have responded. I'll think about it. Let me think about this. Oh, my gosh. What's this? Taking his belt off. I'm sorry. Oh, the baby voice. The baby voice. Do it, LLB. Say I'm sorry. I'm really bad at doing this voice. No, you're not. No, you're not. No, you're not, Paris. Are you sorry? I shouldn't have done it. Are you sorry? I'm sorry people are obsessed with me. The baby voice has always gotten me what I wanted. Oh my God! It may work on me. It would work on me. Yeah, me too. Got a text message that says Jay is the best. Yep.
His laugh is like an energy drink that powers me through the day. Stop it. Oh, my God. It's from M1, Eric Terman. Jay has printed me precisely one email in the last 90 days, and I just read it. Or better yet, leaving Grandpa's house. When I was little, we had family reunions at his place in Santa Maria. And at night, we'd sit around the living room and my aunts and uncles would retell outrageous old stories.
Usually at the same time. That's when Grandpa would give me the signal. And we'd slip out for a drive to get Mother's cookies. We both loved the circus animals for the pink frosting and the way the round sprinkles crunch on your teeth. On the way back, Grandpa would take the long way home. And we'd eat cookies and listen to nothing but big band jazz and the sound of the ocean. I know it's simple. But Grandpa and I both liked simple. And now, at every family reunion... That's the story I like to tell. Over and over again. Mother's cookies. They're the memory.

Every time I go to the grocery store, I know someone practically in every aisle. And Jay. I could teach you how to do it in five minutes. On FM 94.9. Sienna's going to tell us all about this hurricane stuff. You're in San Diego. Are we overdue? It's coming up in just a second. Sienna, what's going on in the news? 55-year-old Raymond Zak spent nearly an hour in the water before drowning in San Francisco in the Bay. A crowd of 75 people, including firefighters, police officers, stood there and let him drown because of the budget cuts. They didn't have the money or equipment to go in after him. Oh, wow. Amazing.
Insane. Brutal. Also, a passenger on a flight, yes, earlier in the week, leaving the Dulles Airport, International Airport, did the thing that annoys everyone. He put the seat back, reclined the seat too early, so the guy behind him hit his laptop. He punched the guy in the face, and a fight broke out, and the plane had to turn around. Woods. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Woodsie, what's going on in sports? The San Diego Padres lost to the Atlanta Braves last night. Unfortunately, it was a 4-3 loss. They were 4-2 on the road trip, and they are coming back to Petco to start an 11-game homestand. So they had won four in a row. They had, my friend. They had. And they lost the fifth one. They did. And you don't have to cut your hair into a fryer's cut until they win six in a row. Correct. Remember what I wanted it to be? Five. And how weird that they lost at five games. Wow. Our boy Woods is at PHC, that perfect haircut. It's safe another day, my friend. It sure is. The Stanley Cup Finals started last night. It's the Vancouver Canucks against the Boston Bruins, and Vancouver won 1-0. They scored with 18.5 seconds remaining in the third period. Canuck Alex Burrows actually bit Patrice Bergeron on the hand, and it was pouring blood at the end of the first period. That's disgusting. It was insane. It's disgusting. The Mikey Show is...
Five people, myself, Woodsy, L.O.B., Sienna, and Jay, and here's the deal. We give out a word of the day at the beginning of the show, and you have to listen, and you really got to listen for it because it could be very sneaky when it comes through. M1 Surf Daddy from Encinitas. What was the word of the day? That is correct. Good job, buddy. Good job. Thank you, guys. Much love. Indie Jam sold out, bro, and you're going. So, Surf Daddy. Congratulations, bro. Super stoked. Thank you so much. All right, man. Thank you, dude. Hang on the line. Okay, so Sienna, what's the deal with hurricanes in San Diego? Well, yesterday on June 1st, it was the first day of the Atlantic hurricane season. So weather.com just published a list of cities that are overdue for being hit by a hurricane. San Diego is second on that list. Ahead of Tampa, Florida, Savannah, Georgia, New York City, and apparently the author, Rick Nabb.
doesn't know that the Pacific Ocean, which is, you know, Southern California, is one of the least likely places to get hit by a hurricane. Well, yeah, but that doesn't mean it can't. True. It's true. But he's saying we're overdue for a hurricane. In fact, the last hurricane that we had was 1939. September of 1939. And it was a really weak one. Well, that's good news. Right. What? He can get. He's throwing stuff out there? Well, you know. It's been a while. It wouldn't have, hearing that would have done nothing to me two years ago. The only reason that it's having any effect on my psyche right now is because the weather is so weird. It's kooky everywhere. The weather is just weird and kooky everywhere. I'm going to Jay's if it goes down. Yeah. Let's all go to Jay's. Jay's would be a safe place because Jay is very resilient and he is very, and he really knows how to like. Take care of you. Dude, you'd have a five-course meal in the dark run by a generator. He would do the whole thing right. Sorry, I'm going to lock the door. You can't come in here. Jay, it's me and Jamie. Let us in. Listen, this is supposed to last for about two days, and we only have enough food for two years. You can't come in here. I'll give you 20 bucks. Hell no. You'll eat us out of cellar and home. Ain't no way in the world. You know that.
Stop knocking, Wood. You're fat. You know it. Get out of here. I ain't letting you in. Jay, please. It's 100 mile an hour winds. Ice cream. Our boy Jay. How about we do a little bit of this? You may think with songs you're super. Tom Tom tunes. You recognize them right away. Tom Tom tunes. They're never quite the directions and now she's gone. What do we have as a prize, Jay? Today we have a pair of tickets to SeaWorld. There we go. 570-1949 is our phone number. The object of the game is you listen to the TomTom Girl read lyrics to a song for 20 seconds. And then just give us title or artist and you win. Now, that sounds pretty easy. But the fact of the matter is, TomTom Girl, you don't have a regular speaking voice.
You have an electronic robotic voice. I lack some certain inflexions. That's right. It doesn't mean that you don't have wonderful, soft feelings. It just means that you lack certain, as you put it, inflexions. I have a heart of golden oldies. Sometimes she gets the download kind of messed up. And when she does it, it comes out kind of weird, you know, when she says it. And one P-Dog from Carlsbad. Are you there? Yeah. All right, dude. A pair of SeaWorld tickets up for grabs. You got 20 seconds to listen to the TomTom Girl. And tell me, title or artist on this song. If you start me up, I will never stop. You make a grown man cry. Spread out the oil, the gasoline. That is correct. That is correct. Congratulations, M1P dog. You just won yourself a pair of tickets to SeaWorld. Hang on the line, okay? All right. Up next, M1 Noob. From Spring Valley. You there, Noob? 20 seconds to listen to the lyrics to this song from the TomTomGirl. And tell us, title or artist, here we go. Said you want to be starting something. You got to be starting something. It is too high to get over. Too low to get under. You are stuck in the middle and the pain is thunder. I took my baby to the doctor with a fever. But no thing he found.
By the time this hit the street, they said she had to break it down. All you need is title or artist to win here, noob. What was it? Unfortunately, no. It was wannabe starting something Michael Jackson. Hey, Mr. Woods. Oh, boy. Yes! It's me, Michael Jackson. How you doing? Fine. Hey, I just thought I'd stop in because I heard Michael Jackson music playing. And if you hear it, it's fun to stop by and just say hi. How are you? I'm good. Good. I have a question. Sure. How come you hate me so much? Mikey, some days when you would do that bit in the studio, Woods would get in his car and say, if Mikey does that bit one time, I am going to lose my eaten mind. How come you would say that, Woods? I don't know what she's referring to. Oh, my God.
Next up is M1 Worm from Chula Vista. Worm, are you there? Not too much, dude. We got a pair of SeaWorld tickets up for grabs for you. All you have to do is tell us title or artist as the TomTom girl reads the lyrics to this song. Get this party started on a Saturday night. Everybody is waiting for me to arrive. Sending out the message to all my friends. We will be looking flashy in my Mercatus Benz. I got lots of style. Got my gold diamond rings. All we need is title or artist for you to win there, M1 Worm. Who was that? Oh, I'm going to hate myself when I hear it. Oh, I don't know. The party started. Think she's ever woken up in a pool of sweat on a leather couch? Oh, gross. Ever suck the foam off the top of a beer can? Think she's ever thrown up at somebody's house she doesn't know? Ever woken up with a tattoo, she doesn't know what it is? You think she's ever had to do four loads of laundry? Think she's ever had a little hair of the dog in the morning? Ever gotten one of her piercings infected?
Think she's ever walked barefoot at a gas station? Think she's ever picked up a cigarette butt from the night before and smoked it? Think she's ever burped the ABCs? Ever used a bathroom without toilet paper instead of chocolate? Air-dried L.O.B.? Yeah, exactly. I'm okay. I'm fine. It's just air-dried. 100% to every one of those questions, yes. Undeniably, Pink has done all those things. Got a text message here. It says, Mikey, I loaned a book to my friend and it took him forever to read it. I actually offered to loan it to him because it was by this guy we both like. He finally returned it with no dust cover because, and this is in quotes, his kid got a hold of it. It's not like I'm a book collector, but come on, man. Buy me a new book. I've emailed before, but if you read this on the air, I'm M1.
Yeah. You get a new book. Sienna, you don't think you get a new book? No! Why? It's a stupid cover. The book is still the same. You can still read the words. Wait a second, Sienna. By definition, the book is not still the same. Who cares? It's a piece of paper over a book. Oh my gosh. Guess I owe you a new 3,000 days then. Are you kidding? Nope. You lost my dust cover? Yep. I didn't know it was called a dust cover. Who cares? You didn't know it was called a dust cover? No. Why, are you worried about your book getting dusty? Yeah, who cares? I am kind of in shock that there are people that believe otherwise. But a dust cover is, you got a book, and it's that paper covering that goes over the top of it. Yeah. And when you take it off, the book is very generic looking.
And it's usually got that sort of fabric material that covers it. Could be anything in there. Yeah, it's like navy blue. It looks like denim. Could be any book in there. But the dust cover has all the artwork and all that stuff. But let's say that I'm a big giant nerd and I really like my dust cover. But let's say I'm just a regular human being. And I just want my book back the way that I lent it. I don't have a problem buying you a new book. Am I? Sienna, you believe that I'm a dork if I have woods. Buy me a new book. Yes! Get a life. I mean, I don't want to, but I'm gonna. Because I know you're very particular. Now, if I lent you a book and you get... Wait, wait, wait. That makes me particular. Yeah, it does. Because it says the name of the book on the spine. You can still know what it is. And you've already read it. You're probably not going to read it again. But I'll give it back to you the way that it was lent to me. But it got caught up in all the magazines in my bathroom. I did read it on the toilet. So you probably don't want it back anyway. I do want it back. Even though I read it on the toilet? Yeah. Okay. Lauren O'Brien. I'll get your fresh one. I'm floored. Okay. Well, here's my question for you. I said, that makes me particular because I want my book back the way that I got it. And you said no. No. How come?
Because you should expect if you lend something to someone, you get it back the way you give them. It doesn't matter if Mikey's anal or if he's not. You give it back the way he wants it. Yeah, I'm not arguing with you. Oh, no, no, not the way I want it. The way he had it. The way it came. Yeah, I'm going to buy you a new one. I mean, I think it's slightly ridiculous, but I will buy you a new one because I know who you are. Yeah, it's just a dust cover. 5701949, please call and tell me what you're, like, please. Yes, no, who's wrong, who's right. I honestly, I didn't think there was going to be a human being in the world that would say it doesn't matter. And instantly I saw in Sienna's face that she was like, are you kidding me? Ridiculous. Anything you lend to that animal is going to come back different. I'm serious. Speaking of woods. Yes. He's an animal. That animal. I'm sorry, Woods. You're not an animal. He is a complete animal. A, it wasn't my fault. My wife threw it away. It was in the magazines. Why'd you take it off at the book? Because it's so much easier to read without that cover slipping and sliding everywhere. And so it's just a pain to read. I got a new book yesterday. Dust cover right off, right on the floor. That's your book. Right. You have the right to do whatever you want with your book. Right. And it just, it got swept up in the rest of the magazines and got thrown out. So I apologize.
I feel very strongly that Woods is going to go home to his wife, and he's going to go, Guess what I got to do? A hundred. A hundred. I go and freaking buy Mikey a new book. Guess what? Oh, because somebody didn't get their little dust cover book. You could probably just order the dust cover. You can't. I bet you could. No. No, you can't. Who would sell a dust cover? Yes, for sale, $45. New dust cover. Question. Yes, Woods. May I buy a already read copy off of Amazon for you? Or do you need a fresh new book? Really? You didn't buy me. You didn't give me a fresh new book. That's a great question. Thank you. I want you to take a moment and think about that question. And then I want you to tell me what you think. Okay. Since you gave me a used book, I'm going to give you back a used book. Yeah, you didn't just buy it. It wasn't brand new. So, I mean, I'm going to give you back.
A used book. It's going to be in good condition because Amazon rates the condition. It'll be like new. But I'm not going to go to Barnes & Noble and buy a whole new one when I can buy it for probably $7 off Amazon. Oh, wow. Okay. Well. Fair enough. It'll have the dust cover on, which you want. It is. Yes. It'll be poop-free because it's not from my bathroom. From a stranger's bathroom. Yeah, I'd be more torn up about that. Yeah, it's from a stranger's bathroom. I'll rub some sanitizer on it then. Well, and that doesn't really bother me. You know what? I mean. What are you going to do? It's going to go back in the bookshelf anyway. You've read it. You're probably not going to read it again, but maybe somebody in your family wants to read it or you want to lend it to another friend. Are you going to lick your thumb to turn the page? Oh, wow. Well, he's not going to read it again, so no. Maybe I will. It's a good thing that dust cover will be on it so you'll know what it is as opposed to just a cloth. Just reading the spine that's on the spine of every book because they have to do that. Okay, does this... only relate to books or if you borrow something else you can return it however you wish no no i think uh a dust cover is not dust cover does not make a book got it what's inside makes the book the guts make the book all right let's say that you borrowed a cd uh-huh okay and you return the cd without the liner notes that's okay right it's not okay it's not it's not preferred but i wouldn't freak out you wouldn't and you wouldn't
No, I wouldn't make you buy me a new CD. Yeah, so if I borrowed a CD from you, and it was Kings and Leon, and it was their new one, and I gave it back to you, and it was just a clear jewel case now with the CD visible, you don't care. No, I mean, I'd be like, hey, where's the liner notes? You go, I lost them, and I'd go, all right. I mean, I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch about it, but I'm going to be like, well, that's weird. What'd you do with them? Do you believe I should replace that CD? Uh-uh. Not the whole CD. No. No. I buy you a brand new one. Most libraries, they don't have the desk covers on the books. Well, that's super. I'm not a library. Aren't you? No. Senior house. No. 570-1949. M1 Schwing from San Diego is on the line. Hi, Schwing. So what do you think? Same thing happened to me and I feel so bad. I lent two books. My baby got to them and kind of scrunched up the covers. I've been hesitating to give it back.
But I was thinking, well, maybe I can give him back and apologize. The baby got to him, but also give her a gift card. Why not just replace the item? Well, I was going to replace it, but then I thought, well, she might be okay with them being bent up and being able to read them still. This way she has the option of buying a different book if she wants. Okay. I'm fine with that. I don't prefer it, but I'm fine with it. Because then I put you to work. Yeah, now I got to go shopping. Yeah, now I got to go shopping. But hey, you know, I mean, better than nothing. Shoot. Thank you. Thank you very much, Schwing. M1 Daniel from San Diego. Hey, how's it going? Like you said? Good, dude. I think it's just bad social etiquette to return any borrowed item in worse condition than what you received it. Fair enough. Any item. Woods agrees with you, he just doesn't, he wouldn't do it. Right. And even still, I hate the dust covers on books. When I buy a book, that's the first thing I throw away. First thing to go. But if I borrowed a book and it didn't belong to me, I would definitely not wrinkle it up and throw it in the trash. I would make sure that... Hello, babe! I mean, I didn't take a dump on the book or anything. It's just missing the dust cover. Didn't you? Yeah. You know? I wasn't shooting BBs to the pages, really.
It's still a tiny little book cover. If anybody knows whether or not you can watch the Casey Anthony case on television, let me know because I want to be watching it. My wife has actually watched it online and yesterday heard something so creepy. And I'm going to tell you about it. And talk about that. Plus, Gabrielle Gifford, the woman that was shot in the head. Right. In Arizona. Husband went on spring break. She's better. She's better. Well, we'll play a conversation that maybe I had or maybe I didn't with a soundboard with Gabrielle Gifford. So we'll just hang on. The Geek Show coming up in minutes. Oh, stop it.

Domination spots, seeing weights and chest ice surf, with some pluses on top of that. Standout spots, seeing occasional head-eye set waves. Each break's looking like they have a chance for some pretty fun surf later this morning as the tide fills in. Coming off of that negative low that we had earlier, they're a bit dicey out there at the moment, somewhat closed out and shifty. Speaking of shifty, reef breaks, all of those spots are pretty broken up and shifty as well. We've got partly cloudy skies out there, and it looks like it should clear up to a fairly nice day. Wings right now are calm, we're right out of the east, so surf's conditions are looking fairly good. We do have some residual wind bump, though, from yesterday's stronger blow, and they do expect winds to turn back on shore today relatively quickly, so it looks like this morning's session might be your cleanest shot at surf for the day. Oh, boy. So he's very handy with Photoshop as well. Yes. Thanks. There you go. So, TruTV. Apparently, a listener called in and said, True TV, T-R-U, is where you can find this Casey Anthony case. Now, I did not really have much of an opinion on this case. I didn't know about this case. I didn't know anything about it. I knew it was a big deal, but only recently did I find out what it was. It was a child. Somebody asked me recently, why is this a big deal, this case? I think that part of the reason that it's a big deal is because the accused mother of murdering this two-year-old child, her child, is so strikingly beautiful. I really do believe that that plays into why this has become such a big deal. Casey Anthony, the mother, is very pretty. How old is she, Sienna? 25. 25 years old. Her daughter went missing and she didn't report it. 30 days went by. 31. 31 days went by. Didn't report it. Yeah.
And in a very strange turn of events, her parents have been very supportive and really backing her up. And on the opening day of the trial last week, they get blindsided because her defense team comes out and says, yeah, we'll tell you what happened. She drowned in the father's pool. And oh, by the way, the dad and the brother molested her since she was a kid. And the dad and the mom. Molested Casey, not the little girl. Yeah, molested Casey. The mom. The mom of the little girl. Yeah. And they were like, what? I mean, we're supposed to be getting, we're getting up in your defense. And this is what you're saying? Now, the reason that it was also really scandalous is because during that 30 day period, the 31 day period, that Casey was missing. There's pictures of Kelsey. What's the baby? Kaylee. Kaylee. I'm sorry. It's so confusing. It's hard because the names are similar. Because they're so similar. The mom's Casey. The baby's Kaylee.
And part of the other reason that it was so scandalous, besides the fact that she didn't report it for 30 days, was that during that 30 days, mom, Casey, is out partying her guts out. Getting tattoos. Getting tattoos, partying it up. There's pictures on Facebook. She's got beers in her hand. She's having a blast. And so anyway, the latest, Sienna, was yesterday. And what did you hear yesterday? Her brother, Casey's brother, Lee. Took the stand for the first time. She's accusing of molesting her. She's accusing him and her father of molesting her from a young age, about the age of eight. And she never had said anything before, which is why her defense is saying, you know, from a young age, she was molested. So she learned to keep things to herself and act as if nothing was wrong. Right. Which is why she didn't report her daughter missing for 31 days. Exactly. Yes. But her brother took the stand and he gave his his side of what happened and basically said that, you know. Casey and her mom, Cindy, do not get along, the grandmother. They do not get along at all. And Cindy was asking for days and days, where is Kaylee? I want to see Kaylee. I want to see Kaylee.
Casey told her brother and the mom, well, she's with this babysitter and gives the name, which is Zaneda Fernandez Gonzalez. Which is the name she found. Found, yes, of a woman living in an apartment complex. She found it because the woman was putting in an application to live in an apartment complex. She saw it and said, I'll use that name as the babysitter. Because her friend worked there. Yes. And Casey's mom, Cindy, had... discovered a very foul smell in Casey's car. And it's like, something's going on. I'm calling the police. And it was then that Casey said, well, she's with a babysitter. And they're like, who's this babysitter? We've never heard of her. And then Lee, the brother, said, Casey, you know, if you can't just make up names, the police are on their way here right now. You know, they're going to want to know where this woman lives. And Casey then said to her brother, she's been missing for 31 days. So her brother was the first one to hear it. And I mean, it's just insane. So my wife, Rebecca, was watching it yesterday online. She was watching the trial live. And as Sienna just said, the mom and the dad discovered Casey's car. And the dad is a former cop. And he knew that smell immediately. He knew what a dead body smelled like. Now they're looking through the car.
And they see the car seat in the back. And in the car seat is one of Kelsey's, the baby. Kaylee. Kaylee. Sorry. It's okay. Oh, my gosh. Kaylee's. A lot of C's. I know. Kaylee's doll is sitting in the car seat. And Rebecca said as Kaylee's grandmother, Casey's mom, was giving the testimony, she was very emotional at that point. Sure. And she was talking about the various items that she took from the car. She wanted to take some items with her and she left some items in the car. And one of the items that she took was this doll. Now the doll was the type of doll that has like a fabric for a body. But the face was plastic, hard plastic. You know what I'm talking about, right? And the foul odor was on the doll as well, the mother testified. And she took it home. And she put it on top of a cooler in the garage. And it smelled.
And so what she did was she took some Clorox wipes and she cleaned off the face of the doll with the Clorox wipes. And then she took Febreze and she sprayed the doll down with Febreze. But the smell lingered on this doll. Now, this is what Rebecca's point was in telling me the story. She said, isn't that an odd thing to do? To have this doll. And I said, well... Where are you going with that? And she said, I wouldn't do that. And I said, well, what would you do? And she said, well, I would like contact the police and tell them that this thing smelled bad, like a dead body. And I said, I don't think you would. I said, I think if you're a mom, you not only don't want to believe, you refuse to believe that your daughter has killed your granddaughter.
You won't believe that. You know how moms will always defend their kid. Absolutely. And say their kid didn't do this. And she probably just didn't want to believe that that was the case. And Rebecca says, but what do you think she thought that smell was? I said, anything but her granddaughter. Yeah. Anything but her granddaughter. And she said, why do you think that she kept it? And I said, she kept it because it was a sentimental item. It's her granddaughter's baby. Her granddaughter's little doll. Yeah. She didn't want to throw it out. But I just thought it was so weird. Yeah. The cleaning of the doll and it's out on the cooler and she's spraying it with Febreze and it just. Another thing that Casey's brother Lee said yesterday was that from day one, the grandmother Cindy had been saying to Casey, the mother, you know, this, you having a baby was a mistake. Basically telling her. the child's entire life, two years, that, you know, you shouldn't be a mother, you shouldn't be a mother, you can't take care of this kid. Wow. And the grandmother was always very protective of the little girl because she was worried. Mm-hmm. Now, it was the prosecution that was asking these questions of the mom, you know, Casey's mom, Kaylee's grandma. Cindy. It was the prosecution asking these questions. Now, you gotta ask yourself,
So the prosecution, the people trying to convict Casey of killing her daughter, they're asking this of her mom. My thought was, why do they want the jury to hear that that's what grandma did? Why do they want that? Why do they want the jury to hear that Casey's mom took that doll and tried to take the stink off it? Why? It almost is, it makes everyone look bad. It makes everybody look bad. It doesn't really make, I guess what they want the jury to hear is Kaylee's dead body was on that doll. I guess that's what they want the jury to hear. But if I'm the jury, all I'm hearing is weird. You're weird. Don't you think they wanted to take some of the blame off of Casey and show, you know, because Casey clearly doesn't care if her parents are getting in trouble. She just doesn't want to be in trouble. No, no, no. What I'm saying is it's the prosecution. It's the people trying to convict Casey that are asking these questions. Yeah.
So that's why I'm wondering. It paints a picture, and it paints a picture of just how devastating this whole thing is. Because if I'm a jury member listening to that, I'm like, I'm asking myself, the whole time, I'm sorry, I'm asking myself motivation. Sure. Everyone's motivation. Right. The prosecution telling that story is, like I said, it shows how devastating it is, and it shows grandma going in to have to clean up her. granddaughter's dead baby doll that smells like her dead granddaughter. That's what it paints. Okay, so now I'm Casey's defense team. And her defense is that the body, that the little girl drowned. And the little girl drowned under mom and dad's watch. Not Casey's watch, but grandparents' watch. Grandparents' pool. And they contend that that's what happened. So if I'm the defense, maybe I say, you know that you killed that little girl, Grandma, and we've already heard that you tried to cover it up by spraying the doll down with Febreze, by wiping the doll off. That's why I'm saying, what a monumentally stupid thing of the prosecution to allow Grandma to say that yesterday.
What a dumb thing to let her say. I see what you're saying. Because if I'm the defense, I go, you know you killed your granddaughter. But if you're the prosecution. And you were trying to hide it. You don't let that in without having a lot more bullets in your gun. You know what I mean? Well, what? Against Casey. You know you've got this case beat. Because like I said, I asked myself, why did they, what was their point? What's the prosecution? And I guess the prosecution's point is Casey killed her daughter. And the smell of that dead body was on this doll. Yep. And poor grandma found it. Yeah. Poor grandma had to clean up. Poor grandma had to clean up. Yeah. Paints a grim picture. Sure it does. But it also gives me bullets as the defense. Right. Especially with my new defense strategy, which is, well, grandma killed her. Right. And then try to cover it up. And then try to cover it up with Febreze. Prosecution could say, well, why wouldn't she just destroy it? Yes, what? Why wouldn't she just destroy it? Why would she clean it up and keep it? Right.
Yeah, why wouldn't she just burn it? That's a great point. And the mom's the one who originally called 911. Ooh. She's keeping it with the hopes that the little girl's going to return. Right. That. Oh, but here's M1 Eric from ESCO, and he's got a pretty good question. Go ahead. Yeah, I just had a question. Like, why would the grandma take the doll unless she knew for sure the daughter was already dead? At that point, she didn't know anything, just knew she was missing. And knew that there was a foul smell. I'll tell you. Yeah, okay. I'm grandma's defense. I'll tell you why. She took it because she loved her granddaughter and she wanted that sweet little keepsake. Yep. A little memento. A little memento. Doesn't have to be dead to take that. Yeah. Right. She just wanted that cute little memento of her granddaughter. She missed her. Okay, but at that point, you're still expecting the daughter to already never come back. The granddaughter, you mean? Yeah, the granddaughter. You're expecting her? Why? What is the grandmother taking that little doll? How does that say that you don't think she's ever coming back? In fact, I think it says the opposite. Right. You want to keep it and give it back to her as soon as she's found. You can explain that one pretty easily. I don't believe that. I think that by her taking it, she's expecting not to find that daughter, find the granddaughter. Find the granddaughter. Well, maybe something deep inside of her, new.
I mean, she called 911, and then when she called 911, she said something to the effect of, there's a damn dead body smell in her car. Okay. Okay, so I think Grandma knew. She did. Deep in her heart that her little bee of a daughter that she had told, you're unfit. You should have never had him. She knew it, man. She knew it in her bones that Casey killed Kaylee. She knew it. I agree with you, Woods. Not only that, but her husband. is a cop and he knows that he knows what that is yep dude he knows it and rebecca said that um the grandma testified yesterday too that when the when the father when the grandpa when he you know recognized it he said let's get out of here let's get out of here now that's consistent to me you know like if i'm if i'm grandpa and i'm with grandma and we roll up on our daughter's car
And we don't know where we haven't seen our granddaughter and we've been asking about her and our daughter's giving us stupid answers and giving us the runaround. And we roll up and because we see her car and I'm a cop and I instantly smell. I think I would be like, oh, no, let's go. Not our daughter, please. Let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. You know what? Another little twist about the grandfather is. George Anthony is, you probably don't even know this, Mike, and they're not really talking about it, is that he attempted to commit suicide after this happened. Yeah, about six months after in Daytona Beach, Florida, they found him after he had been taking several bottles of medication and I think had alcohol as well. And there was a five-page written suicide note left in a hotel room. And the family reported him missing and he had taken some pictures. And they got to him before he was killed and he was taken to the hospital and he was obviously okay. Doesn't look good. But right. We have to know what that note said. Yeah. I'm titillated. We have to know what that note said. The 911 call. I could get it. They have the 911 call from that, too. Oh, yeah. I need it. M1 Jen from Santee. Yeah. You're an attorney, right? So what can you tell me? Grandmother and the cleaning of the doll. That's a bad fact. Bad fact.
for the prosecution because people are going to react like you react like, why would she do something like that? What does she know what's going on? The prosecution needs to bring it up so they can say, look, this is what happened versus where the defense brought it up and the jury never heard about it. That kind of drops a bomb. That's a freaking great strategy. The prosecution's trying to take the legs out of it before they ever get it. Exactly. That's great. That's a good strategy. You're a good lawyer. And you're a good lawyer, Jen. You're a good lawyer. Send us a picture. You're a good lawyer, Jen. I need to know what every female looks like. I need it. Can you please? I'll show you the grand jury. All right, here's a 911 call. Wow. Let's see. So good. All right, here's a 911 call. I bet we got to listen to an ad first from ABC News. Well, police were able to track the grandfather's location through his cell phone because he sent a text message before he tried to commit suicide saying that he didn't want to live anymore. And as well as left a five-page suicide note. Well, instantly I know that the defense to that is he was overcome with grief because his granddaughter was gone. Yeah, of course. I stopped you. Yeah, we got to go through this ad first. Why do they do that? Because there's more money to sell. It's nine seconds and it feels like four minutes.
It's actually 30 seconds. Dude, I went to one the other day. It was two minutes and 30 seconds. And it said, click here to skip this ad. And I'm like, no way. Because I know what that's about. Everybody will do that. So you know that's going to put something on your computer. 911, what is your emergency? I'm George and Cindy Anthony's attorney. I'm sorry, I didn't hear you, sir. Your phone broke up. Can you hear me now? Yes. Good. I just spoke with John Allen with the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Okay. George Anthony has been gone since 830 this morning, and he has taken several bottles of medication from his house, as well as some pictures, and we're worried that she's done something. As well as some pictures. Do we know what? Family pictures. Okay. John Allen advised that I call 911 right away and get a deputy over here to take a report.
And that's Sergeant John Allen with the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Okay, so you're wanting to report him missing? Yes, he's not. Okay, what is the address there? 4937 Hope Springs Drive. Okay, and the number that you're calling me from, sir? Okay, and you say he was last seen at 8.30 this morning? Yes, ma'am. And what is George's middle name? What's his middle name? Arthur. And his date of birth, sir? Date of birth. 9-5-51. 9-5-51. 5-1. And how old is he? White male? White male. 51 would make him... White male, about 5-11. White hair. What color eyes does he have? Color eyes. He was a mom, right?
His wife. That's the 911 call of George Anthony, who was missing. 2009. He is the grandfather of Kaylee Anthony, who was killed. I want to point something out. If he's guilty of molesting his daughter since she was 13, then he's guilty of that. But that doesn't necessarily make him guilty of killing... Kaylee Anthony. You're right. Now, Casey Anthony could have killed her daughter and gone, you know, another true fact is that my dad did molest me. Correct? Yeah. She could do that. And the fact that he tried to kill himself plays into her story. No, you don't think? I don't think necessarily. I think that the fact that if your child, if he knows for a fact that this is what his daughter's done.
He's like, okay, I'm out. This is too much to bear. How do you have a normal life after all this? He's lost his daughter and his granddaughter, essentially. And been dragged through the mud. And been dragged through the mud as a pedophile. I don't want to give too much away. All I'm going to tell you is when we come back, we have something pretty funny. So, we better lose it. Woods, what's going on in sports? Let me give you a little update on the Padres. But first, got to tell you that sports is brought to us today by Frank's Red Hot. Frank's Red Hot. Get some. Okay, so the Padres are returning today from a 4-2 road trip. They are returning for an 11-game homestand. They are 9-20 at home. They are in last place in the West. They are seven games out of first place. So they need to get it together and they need to start playing better at home. And then Plaxico Burress, who you guys will remember, shot himself in the leg. Used to play for the New York Giants. Been in jail for a while. Yeah. Getting out on Monday. Is he really? Yeah, he's getting out on Monday. And they're saying that he will be a highly sought after free agent once the lockout is over. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Somebody will take him. Yeah, somebody definitely will. He is 33 years old. So today's the welcome home ceremony.
for the shuttle endeavor. Huh? Yes. That's the one that Gabrielle Gifford's husband flew on. Yep. And I felt that he should and Woods and L.O.B. felt that that was insensitive of him because his wife Gabrielle Gifford had been shot in the head even though she's doing way better and she's doing good and recovering quite nicely. Better is a very relative term. Yeah, getting shot in the head, you know. Better. Better. Better than dead. Yeah, much better than deceased. Yeah, that's... Definitely a step up. Well, the space shuttle returned to Earth yesterday morning, and now the six members are headed to Houston for a welcome home ceremony. Just another detour on the way home to the missus, huh? Well, you know, since Gabrielle's speaking is not quite up to form yet, when I spoke to her, I had to speak to her with her using... A Judge Judy soundboard. Oh. Obviously. And it sounded like this. How are you, Miss Gifford? I want you to speak slowly, speak clearly, so that I can understand you. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yes, I will do that. Where are you right now in terms of your recovery? Do you take any other kind of medication? Do I take any kind of medication? Yes.
Yeah, I mean, I take Claritin every day. I take Claritin. I take something for ADD, and I take Oflonase, which is a kind of thing. What kind of work do you do? Well, excuse me, Ms. Gifford. I do talk shows, but that's why you're here. But aside from that, I want to... Not only are you not a very nice person, you're also a slob. Excuse me. Right? Yes, I am. I kind of am, yes. How many speeding violations have you had? I had one recently. It was a thing where I had decided that I wasn't going to try to live my life so tightly wound and that kind of deal. What is adult novelty? You know, that's a different time. You're a hustler. No, I'm not trying to hustle you. Miss Gifford, to be quite honest with you. isn't this more about us talking about your life and it seems like you're trying to deflect? I don't believe you. Sit down. I am sitting down. No. No, I am. No, no, no, no, no. I am. I actually am. No. I am, ma'am. Good. Okay. Okay, but let's try something different. Let me just ask you something else. What do you think is going to be the biggest...
Part of your life now as you move on from everything that's happened before. I will kill you. Okay. Thank you so much for being here. Maybe we can talk again. I don't know where your head is. All right. Thank you so much for talking to us. Have I been respectful to you? Yes, ma'am. Anything else? I guess that'll have to do for today. You're fibbing. No? Okay, I did have one more question. Is there anything else that's changed? You can't dance fast enough for me. Do you understand? Uh-huh. Okay, thank you. You may live, hopefully, as long as I am, but you're not as smart as I am yet. All right. That's Gabrielle Gifford. Wow. There it is. That's why she had to use Judge Judy to speak to me. She's very hamstrung. You know, she doesn't have a lot of options to choose from since she can't talk. It's true. It's true. Work with what she's got. She can hum along to the Beatles or happy birthday is very appropriate. Actually, happy birthday would be. It's very true. To her husband. Her husband. So I'm reading a book. I told you guys about this the other day. I'm reading a book about psychopaths. Okay. And it's not one of the New York Times bestseller lists right now. It's a really interesting book. And the author of the book is the author of the book is a guy named John Ronson.
He went to visit a psychopath, somebody that he that was put in jail, but was not actually a psychopath. Now, how did he know that he wasn't a psychopath? He was approached by the Church of Scientology. Church of Scientology doesn't believe in psychiatry. And so what they do is they try to discredit as much as they can. They try to discredit psychiatry and psychiatric diagnosis. In other words, if a psychiatrist says anything, if I'm a psychiatrist and I say to you, Woods, you are schizophrenic. Fair enough. Scientologists will go, not true. You are making a false accusation against Mr. Woods. He is not schizophrenic. He may have some issues, but it isn't that. And so during the course of writing this book, this guy, John Ronson, was approached by somebody from the Church of Scientology. And they said,
We got a good case for you. There's a guy in England locked up right now as a psychopath and he's not really a psychopath. And at first he was like, hmm. The author was like, hmm. I don't know that I believe you because I know you guys think that this is all crazy stuff. So I don't know if I believe you. They're like, all we want you to do is come and meet him. Guy's name was Brian. He said, all we want you to do is meet the guy. He says, what did he do? He says he was 17 and he was drunk and he had a very bad night and he beat someone up to the point where they died. And he didn't want to go to prison. And so he pretended that he was insane. And they put him in this loony bin. And the guy says, the guy writing the book goes, I want to meet him. So they fly to England. And they're in this little, like, courtyard, and I mean there is wackos, okay? Everybody there, he says, is, this is the way he describes it, not me. He says everybody's overweight. All these crazy people are overweight. Their hair is all messed up. Shut up. Waiting for that. Their hair's all messed up. They don't take care of themselves. They all look like they're a mess, right?
They're there talking to family members out in the courtyard, blah, blah, blah. Here comes Brian. He's dressed pretty nice. Guy looks pretty normal. Walks up, sits down, starts talking to him. And he says, lo and behold, dude sounds pretty sane. And he starts asking him questions. He's like, so what's the deal? He goes, it's the worst thing that's ever happened in my life. Guy was 27 now. He says, this happened when I was 17. He said, I convinced him I was nuts. And they put me in here. And he said, and then I started to like read about it. And I started to realize why they weren't believing me. And the reason that I wasn't, but he said, and by the way, he goes, everything that I would say, they would say, that's what a crazy person would say. In other words, when he said, look, I'm telling you, I didn't do this. I didn't do this. I faked it to get in here. They would write down.
patient says that he faked it to get in here. Delusional. Then he said, then I would behave really well and I'd get along with people and I wouldn't like, because all these nuts that I'm with, they all fight. He says, he goes, and they would write in my records, patient is being aloof and not mingling well with other patients. He goes, And he had access to all of his medical records and notes that they had on him. And so he presented them to the author of this book, John. And he says, so then I changed my strategy again. Then I started to say, all right, fine. If that's the deal, then I'm going to start being like a pain in the butt. So he started doing that. And they wrote in his file, patient is violent. He's like, everything I did, they were making it like I'm a nut.
And so finally, one of the things that they had that he had read was that if he wanted to get out of there and convince him that he was saying he had to stop like talking altogether to the shrinks. So he did. And that meant that even when a shrink came and sat down next to him and that's where he said he screwed up. He's like, I'd be eating lunch and like one of the nurses would walk up and sit down and ask me a question and I'd screw up and I'd answer her question where I was supposed to be on this bit where. I'm not talking to anybody. He goes, and I'd screw up. So he leaves there. The author of the book, he leaves there and he's like, holy crap. This dude is not crazy. And he's been locked up for 10 years and he's not a psychopath. So what he does is he goes, you know, he's a journalist. So he has to cover his tracks. He has to give the other people the opportunity to respond to it. So he writes an email to.
the doctors at this loony bin. And he says, here's what your boy told me. And I saw the paperwork myself. The guy writes him back immediately. Doctor writes him back immediately. He says that there is a very well-known test. It's called the Bob Hare test. Apparently there was a psychiatrist named Bob Hare that was very famous. And he did this very, very involved test. And if a patient scores extraordinarily high on the test, then they know that they're a psychopath. And he said, just the fact that the guy faked it to get out of going to jail shows the manipulative value of a psychopath. He says, when the doctor said that to him, it scared him a little bit. And as this was going on, his cell phone rings and he looks and it's this guy, Brian, calling him. And he doesn't answer. He keeps reading the thing.
And it says the fact that he came into this environment and immediately started to research ways to get out was an indication in and of itself. His cell phone rings again. This guy's calling him again. And he doesn't answer it. The doctor goes on to say that the fact that he didn't tell you that the person that he beat to death was a homeless guy who made a comment. To the person that he was walking with. And he killed him. By knocking him to the ground. And kicking him until he died. And he hasn't mentioned that to you. And he hasn't taken any accountability for it. A few days go by. The phone rings again. And it's this guy Brian. This time he answers the phone. And he says. Hey man I've been calling you. How come you haven't taken my call? And he goes. Well your doctor. I wrote your doctor. He says you're a psychopath.
And he goes, of course. He says, why? Why does he say I'm a psychopath? He tells him all the reasons. And he says that you don't feel any empathy. And the guy at that point starts to recite exactly what the doctor says he will recite. I did it because, yes, I feel empathy. I feel that it was very bad of me to beat the man the way that I did. I think it was a very atrocious thing. I wish I had not done that. He's doing it in this very, exactly like the doctor said. The whole time he was talking to him, he was talking to a psychopath. Never knew. And it was interesting because L.O.B. said she thinks that Casey Anthony is a psychopath. See, psychopath has a very specific definition to it. What a psychopath is has a very specific definition to it. And this guy not only fell into...
all of those different arenas, he almost answered every single one. He was almost a psychopath to the T. Wow. Even in the ways that he was trying to deflect from being a psychopath. Wow. Even in the ways that brought him to the place. Even in the ways that he was in the trial. Even in the ways he killed the guy. Even in the way, every way, dude was a psychopath. Fascinating. Dude, it was crazy. What's the name of the book you're reading? Am I a Psychopath? Oh. No, I didn't ask that. I asked, what's the name of the book that you're reading? I don't think you are. Am I a psychopath? No, I don't think so. Tendencies, but you're, I don't think you are. I'll give you a bob hair test. Got it. Am I a psychopath? You're not, dude. You're a good guy, Mike. Don't beat yourself up. Don't beat yourself up about it. You like things a certain way. I don't think that makes you a psychopath. Not fit, yes. Psychopath, no. A psychopath. A psychopath.
You ever heard of a psychopath, Mikey? You'll need a test for that, Mikey. I'll tell you. I'll give you the Krispy Kreme test on that one. That's a wave in front of you. No, you can't do that. The book is actually called The Psychopath Test. Okay, good. A Journey Through the Madness Industry. It's called The Psychopath Test. Really good book. We walked into the bathroom the other day with Jay. And by we, I mean Woods and I. Walked in the bathroom with Jay. And we did something that guys will do. I said to Jay, there's a present for you in there. In the stall. Ew. In the stall. There's a present for you in there. Did you deliver it? No. No, I didn't. Neither of us delivered it. And Jay said, what is it? And I go, well, you got to go in there and find out. No, no. Well, what it was was what I had always called.
Now, if you're turned off by this kind of thing, I'm going to let you know right now that what we're about to talk about is a little, you know. Bathroom humor. Potty. Potty. But I called it a floater. Yeah. That's what I've always called it. I've always called it a floater. I've heard that. Jay walks in and he goes, oh, it's a martini. Martini? Yeah, there's a floating olive. Stop it. Damn. One olive. One olive. One olive in a martini. It's a dirty martini. Mike and I were dying. I mean, dying. Almost with tears coming out of my eyes. A martini. He goes, it's better than the tiger claws. And we go, what's that? He goes, where it looks like tiger grabbed onto the back of the bowl and just scraped over. Tiger claws. Oh, my God. And his other one was the burn. The burn. Yeah. What's that?
Did you get a ring of fire from eating too many peppers the day before? The burn. The burn. You know what the masterpiece is? No. That's smooth. No splash, no cleanup required. What? Call that one the masterpiece. Doesn't happen very often. That's why they call it the masterpiece. No cleanup required. Well, no, because it's just... Smooth as can be. It's like the Sistine Chapel. That's right. 16th Chapel. It's like the 16th Chapel. 17th. Uh-huh. Y'all know about the ghost? Mm-mm. How many did you have, Jay? Ghost! I just figured it out. This is the last one I remember. The ghost is where you feel its presence. You hear the splash, but when you check, the bowl is empty. It's empty. That's right, because it went right. Down the hole. The ghost. The ghost. That one's also known as a haunting. Jay, you can write a book. What is wrong with you? Write a bathroom book. That's fantastic. I laughed so hard. I told my wife about the martini and she was laughing so hard nothing came out. I mean, she was like...
The martini will get you. Okay, so let me ask you this. Facebook came out in 2004. LOB. How long do you think it took for six billion photos to be uploaded to Facebook? Six billion photos. Six billion photos. Four years. Came out in 2004, so you say 2008. Yes. Guess what? Six billion photos are uploaded to Facebook every month. Oh, my. Oh my gosh. Wait till I tell you the next stat. It's gonna blow your mind. I have two more stats for you about Facebook that will literally blow your mind. The Mikey Show coming up in minutes. Pop quiz, hot shot. This last New Year's Eve weekend, we'll do this, LLB. Okay. Higher or lower, you give me a higher or low, okay? How many pictures do you think were uploaded this last New Year's Eve weekend on Facebook? Am I going higher or lower than something? Yeah, you give me a number and I'll tell you whether you're higher. Oh, I see what you're doing here. Oh, gosh. On one night, five million. Higher. Oh, wow. There was more than five million. Pictures uploaded to Facebook this last New Year's Eve weekend. Let's see. Actually, it's going to be way higher because there's 500 million users. Let's go with 300 million pictures. Higher. What? Oh, my. 700 million. Higher. Oh, my God. 1.3 billion. 750 million photos were uploaded to Facebook this last New Year's Eve weekend.
Wow. They are about to reach 700 million users. They're about to. If Facebook right now were a country, it'd be the third largest country in the world. You're kidding. It's crazy. There's 150 million Facebook users in the United States, which means that it's just under half of the total population of the United States of America. Wow. Just 300. And 11 million. Which accounts for babies and senior citizens and everybody. Yeah. Pretty much. And a lot of senior citizens and babies have Facebook pages. Yeah. My grandma has one. My nanny has one. Yeah. My parents have one. With the estimated world population being just under 7 billion. With Facebook reaching that 700 million mark means 10% of the planet will be on Facebook. You think Facebook's popular? Oh my gosh. A little bit.
I think it's gotten popular. So anyway. One thing you don't have on there, Mike, is Facebook is actually applying to be a country itself. Wow. That's Mark Zuckerberg. You're telling me, Mark Zuckerberg, that you're going to become your own nation. Uh-huh. That's correct. What will you... Will you have your own currency? That kind of... We're thinking just like, you know, the... What do they call that? The Farmville. Those credits? You're going to just use Farmville credits. Yeah, we're going to use those. Maybe some Mafia Wars. Okay. Will be the way that you actually use money. Yeah, we're going to have causes, things like that. Causes. Everybody has a cause, right? Right. Now, if I want to date somebody in this new Facebook country, will I poke them or like them? You'd probably start by liking them, and then if you're lucky, you poke them. Okay. I like it.
Wow. Thank you, Mark Zuckerberg. That's Mark Zuckerberg, everybody. And boom goes the dynamite. So, how about this? I want to know, all of us have done this. Most of us. Actually, I can't say all. It's as me projecting. Most of us have been drunk before and sworn off drinking for good. You know what I'm talking about. It happens when you're laying on the bed and it's spinning. The room is spinning. And that's when you say, please, please, I beg you to let the room stop spinning. If you let the room stop spinning. Or you say the following to yourself. I'm never doing this again. I'm never doing this again. Ever. I don't care what anybody says. I don't want to. I don't want to drink anymore. I don't want to drink ever again.
Never, ever again. We've all been there, right? What I want to know is, has there ever been anybody that is listening right now that was so deeply affected that they swore it off and they actually did it? Does that person exist? Because the funny thing about it is that most of us are dum-dums that return. And we do it again. And then we go, I'm never doing this. Ever again. No way and no how am I going to do this. You couldn't pay me to drink again. If you were to buy my drinks, I couldn't drink. You could buy me a Sam Adams brewery. I'm not drinking. I wouldn't drink it. You could be Sam Adams. I still wouldn't even like it.
If Sam Cook himself walked into here right now and said, I'm going to buy you a drink. If Sam, a cooking guy, came and he said, I'm going to make your food in brandy. I said, nope. That's for me. Let me tell you something. If Adolph Coors came in here and said, fresh from Rocky Mountains. Is this for you? Uh-uh. If Anheuser-Busch himself said, I want you, it said, this one's on me. If all of Russia came and said, we want you to be the queen, and all you have to do is drink this vodka, I'd say, nope. If Lars Ulrich from Obama's out. came in here. And he said, I got a brand new bottle of Belvedere vodka for you. And all you gotta do is drink one shot. Out. If Jimmy Buffett came in and said, I found this last shaker of salt, I want you to drink all my food with me. I say, you're wasting away alone. Wow.
Wow. I'm serious. Winner. You guys, I'm serious. 570-1949. M1 Ashley from San Diego. Good. How you doing? I went to Europe to study abroad when I was 19, and I came back having been allowed to drink and thought I was big and bad with all my college friends. Tried to drink them all under the table and got alcohol poisoning. Oh, gosh. I spent the next year not drinking at all. Nope. You do not qualify. You drank again. You drank again. You drank again. A year off is pretty strong. Yeah. But. A lot of people with that. Oh, for sure. You drank again. I give you credit. I say it was a long time. We tip our cap. Yeah, tip of the cap.
No doubt about it. Tip of the cap. Yeah, I mean, Sienna made it nine months. Yeah, Sienna made it nine months. That's right. Thank you, Ashley. M1 Shaggy's on the line from Chula Vista. Go ahead, Shaggy. You know, for me, it was a mess, really. I mean, I was in college, and I thought it was a great thing to do to study. While I was, I couldn't think. I couldn't talk. I couldn't do anything while I was on it. And I said, this is ridiculous. And so after I could get some time off and get away from that environment, I went home. And I never did it again. And eventually it turned into everything. I mean, at this point, you know, it's been about... Did you just say meth? Yeah. Yeah, he said meth. Yes. Oh, no, no, no, no. Okay. Well, I mean, congratulations. Big tip of the hat to you. Man. But we were looking for the people that had, you know, gotten drunk one night. He quit everything. He quit everything. He quit everything. Yeah. That's good. Hey, listen, that's good.
That was it. I get a little sick, and I don't do that anymore either. Good for you. Hey, good for you, bro. That's rad. A lot of people can't shake that stuff. Absolutely. It's one of the hardest drugs in the world to shake, and it's a problem here. Thank you for calling. M1B from San Diego. Hey, what's going on, guys? Not too much. Yeah, so a couple years ago, I was actually playing a show in Vegas and got really absurdly blitzed to the point where I couldn't remember anything. Woke up the next morning. It was so hungover that I swore up drinking and stuck to it. Good for you, man. You've never drank again? Nope. How long ago? That was probably about a year and a half ago. Wow. Look at you. How old are you? I'm coming up on 30. Man, that must have been one hell of a night. You know what's the funny thing, actually? It was the first time I was in Vegas. I'd never been to Vegas before. Oh, yeah, that'll do it. What were you drinking, do you remember? I remember when I started drinking. What did you start drinking? Well, a buddy of mine sat there and said,
Oh, you know, you can drink on the streets out here. Here's a can of Sparks. And I was just like, okay, very well. So I started drinking those. What's Sparks? Yeah, what is that? It's like malt. It's like this energy drink in a can with alcohol in it. Ready to go. Oh, that's awful. Oh, gosh. And I'm not really too big on drinking anyway. So I was just sitting there like, oh, okay, this is great. And we'd play a show. We were feeling good. And I'd never been to Vegas before. And I just assumed Vegas was a myth. You know, it's all hype. But no, it's the truth. You go there and... Tiger in your bathroom. Yeah. Yeah, you go there and there's a tiger in your bathroom. You wake up missing a tooth. Yeah, pretty much. Marry a hooker. I'm glad I didn't do that. Well, I've done that sober. It ain't no big thing. Yeah, it doesn't matter. Thank you. So were you the guy, when you drank, were you the guy that, did you swear off drinking the night of when you got the spins? Because I was always the swear off drinking the next guy. I was the next day guy that was like, never doing it again. And usually I was pretty good for about two weeks. Well, here's the funny conversation. The funny conversation is the one that you have with your friend where you go, I'm not kidding, dude. Yeah. I'm not drinking again. Never.
And they laugh and they go, yeah, you are. Yeah, you are. I'm serious this time. No, I'm not kidding. I'm not drinking again. I mean, that one taught me a lot. I don't want, like, I'm telling you, I don't want it. There's so many more things that you can be doing with your life. I mean, think about it. I'll save money. I'll lose weight. I can hike. I can do hiking. I can hit the gym. Yes. I've said those bits a thousand times. Let's see. M1DD from San Diego is on the line. Hi. Hi. Hello. Hello. What happened? 2003, I went to a company party. I wasn't a big drinker anyway, but I overdid it. Mixed it. What'd you mix? I don't remember. That's the thing. Yeah, it was bad. And I thought I was big and bad. I was having a good time. And my now husband was with me and got alcohol poisoning.
Did you have to go to the hospital? You know what? I didn't, but I slept for three days after that, but I woke up the next morning spinning. Wow. That's because you have big jugs. Yeah. Does he have to hold the hair back? I bet he did. Oh, my gosh. You filthy animal. Did you and your now husband do the drunken makeout at the office party? No, we did not. Lampshade on your head, maybe? No. Carried out. There was photos at the hotel at the after party. Apparently, all of our co-workers went to the after party. Were you throwing up at the bathroom at the company party? No, I did not. My husband immediately took me back to the hotel room. Did you show your double D's at the company party? My dress broke. Oh. So a wardrobe malfunction. Easy Janet Jackson. Easy Janet Jackson. Wow. Send us those pictures. Oh, Jay. But, yeah, I haven't drank since. I don't know. 2003. Wow. Yeah, you don't drink. Good for you. Good for you. No. You don't drink. Do people ask you, do people say, how come you don't have it? Do you tell them this story? No, but I just say I don't drink. I don't like to be around drugs, and I don't like it. Wow.
It taught you a lesson. Being around drunks is very nerve-wracking. It's very nerve-wracking. It's the worst. When you are sober and they are drunk, it's nerve-wracking. All right, thanks. Thank you. You know what's nerve-wracking? Obviously, because I haven't drank for so many years, I stopped drinking in 04. But the most nerve-wracking part about it is the not shut up. The not shut up drunk. Oh, yeah. Terrible. Repeat themselves drunk. A lot of like I saids thrown in there. Like I said. Like I said. A lot of end of the days. Look, at the end of the day. At the end of the day. We're friends, man. A lot of, you know what I'm talking about? You know what I mean. You know what I mean, right? You know what I mean. Like at the end of the day, man. Long story short. We're friends. Long story short. Too late. You're my boy, man. Did I tell you I love you, dude? I don't want to talk you up, bro. Don't you? Too late.
I won't keep you. I won't keep you. Sorry, I know I'm repeating myself a little bit. Am I bugging you? Yes, in fact, you are. Sorry, did I let you go? Can I tell you a secret? Hey, man. This is the worst. Okay, I just got it. I just landed. This is the worst one. This is the absolute worst one. The worst one is, now I'm going to be serious. And I need you to know the levity of it. Oh, God. Can I be straight with you? No, no, no, no. It's way more serious than that. It's this. Dude. I'm serious. No. I know, dude. No, man. I don't know? No, dude. You don't. All right. Well. You don't. I'm being serious, dude. I know you are. Just tell me what you want to tell me, though. Listen.
This is freaking serious, man. Okay. I know, dude. You can tell me anything. We're boys, but... I want you to just let me talk, dude. Fine. Let me tell you this. It's so serious, bro. I'm not kidding, dude. I freaking mean it, dude. I know, man. I'm going to tell you because I freaking... This is serious, man. Are you in trouble? No. I wanted to tell you this, dude. Listen. I'm listening. Listen. I freaking... Always think you're cool, dude. I think you're cool, too, man. That's why we're friends. By the way, that's his point. That's the whole story. That's the whole story. Dude, I'm not kidding. I'm freaking serious, dude. I think you're cool. You're freaking cool, man. No, man, don't blow it off. I'm serious. Yes, yes. No, dude. Don't just miss it, man.
Do that, dude. I'm being serious. You always do that. And this is what I think in my head. I go, what would the proper response be? Would the proper response be, you know what, dude? I never really realized that you thought I was cool until right now. Seriously? No, like seriously. You really do? Yeah, bro. I freaking think you're cool, man. Cool, man. No, dude. I mean it. I'm not being flip, dude. You are, bro. Seriously. Cool, man. Dude. Woods, man. I'm telling you. It's cool, dude. Thank you. I'm not being flip. I promise. No, you don't understand, though, bro. Like, I freaking think that, dude. I have always thought it, dude. I always thought the same about you, too, man. I'm not kidding, bro. Can I go now, though? See, dude. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Let's go get something to eat. Come on. Bro. Yeah. Remember, do you remember when I first met you, dude? Yep. And, like, we were cool, okay? Immediately cool. But that's why I'm telling you. I freaking think you're cool, dude. I know, man. That's awesome of you to say. That's great. Are you coming out of your skin? Oh, yeah. When somebody just, they want to tell you something and they don't know what they want to tell you and they're just drunk and you want out of that party in the worst possible. And by the way,
While they're telling you that story, you're struggling to hear them. And what you're smelling is malt liquor. You're doing the best that you possibly can to hear them. But there's malt liquor on their breath. It's loud. You're so tired you want to go home. You look at your significant other across the room just yucking it up. Your significant other. You look at your significant other, and the look of fun that they're having tells you, we're not going there. We're stuck. Oh, my gosh. We're staying here a very, very long time. In fact, if I were you, I'd sit down with the person that you're talking to right now. Because we're not going anywhere for a long. This is playing as let alone.
Yo, dude, you don't understand, dude. I do, man. I really do. You're, like, so cool, bro. I know. Thank you. You're cool, dude. I know. Thanks. Hey, I'm going to get you a beer. I'm good, dude. I'm not drinking that. I'm driving. I'm driving. Oh, bro, come on, man. Have one beer with me, dude. Dude, I'm driving, you know. Well, you're going to have one beer with me, bro, please? Kid's been in a little trouble before. I don't want to screw up again. Bro. Yeah. You're freaking cool, man. Remember that time when we were in PB and I saw you across the street and I was like... I see you, girl. I'll talk to you. Yeah. Girl. That's Melissa. Oh, girl. Dude. I don't really drink that much anymore. Ever since I got married, I'm kind of the DD. Hey, dude. You know what, man? I said, next time I see you, bro, I'm getting your number. I was like... Next time, dude, I have to get your number, bro. I got to go. I got to get my wife out of here. Dude, that's why I'm telling you this. I know. Jay's over talking to my wife. I don't really trust him. Can I talk to you for like five minutes, dude? For like five minutes. I want to tell you how much I care about you. It's freaking torture. It's torture. Listen to M1 Chris from Oceanside. I got to laugh a second.
Okay, this was my wife last night. I think it was almost three minutes before she ever even got to her point. It was like, no, babe, but babe, wait, no, you're not listening, babe. Hey, it wasn't last night Wednesday? Yeah, and well, guess what? It's our neighbor's wife was out of town, decided to have like happy hour at his house. Oh, boy. So, yeah, well, I don't know. Wednesday's hump day, isn't it? Oh, wow. That was for Jay. Now you're talking. That was all for Jay. But no, she was seriously, I mean, it was on and on. I had to just bite my tongue and just go, okay, yes, I love you. We've been married 16 years. You know why? Because when you know that you are one small word away from a fight. Oh, yeah. Or tears. Or tears. No, it was when she starts to get that kind of cross-eyed. And I'm not, you know, labeling, but, you know, she's Filipino, and sometimes she's like a Cuban Puerto Rican. I know, exactly. So, yeah, there's that fire. And, you know, the passion's great, too. It's, you know, get some. She's a Cuban-Rican. She's a Cuban-Rican. Anyway, yeah, I can understand everything. Hey, just as briefly as you can put it, what was she trying to share with you? Can't even freaking remember. It's very important. Yeah, it's important whatever it was.
important. I can't even remember because it went on for... It never got anywhere. It's kind of like dancing around the pool, but the water's fine and no one jumps in. That's right. Hey, thanks, Chris. I appreciate it. Well, as women, we do that when we're sober. It takes us a long time to get to our point. Fair enough. Give me a couple glasses of wine. It's going to be a while. How about two women with each other after a couple of glasses? Oh, yeah. I like that. It's hilarious. Together. Woods. Woods. Yes. Have you ever listened in on your wife having a conversation? Absolutely. And I think to myself, I don't know how they do it. I know. I don't know how they do it. We're so into it. I straight up tell Jamie to just get, when she starts talking foolishness like that, I'm like, babe, shut it. Please shut it. You're driving me bananas. I love you, but go to bed. Have you, Mike, ever been stuck at a long table like that? You decide to hit... Sit at the head of the table. Then Rebecca's to your left. Her friend's to the right. All the guys are on the other end. Oh, yeah. And you're stuck. And they're talking. Yeah, you're in purgatory. And they're talking. I see that happen to guys all the time. I know I'm doing it, too. Oh, man. Oh, man. Let your voice be heard on The Mikey Show now. Why don't you tell him the whole story? Time to wake up, sir. Call 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. Shut up.

Drank a lot. Wow. Sorry, man. Sienna, what's going on in sports? Whoa, what? I mean, what's going on in news? I mean, what's going on in news? So, you know, at the end of the year, a lot of students will give their teacher an end-of-the-year gift. Well, this particular Florida student, eight years old, her grandmother helped give this gift, and it was a loaded .22 caliber handgun. Yes. Now, apparently the grandma gave a box of toiletries to the teacher and didn't know the loaded .22 was at the bottom of the box. Didn't know that was in Florida. Sounds like one of Jay's Christmas gifts, an old box of toiletries. It actually does. Also, this is just a sad, crazy story. An Illinois man, he was a veteran groundkeeper at a golf course. He was mowing the lawn. golf course for 20 years. He's been doing this a long time and he made a wrong turn while he was mowing the lawn on one of those car lawnmowers. Fell off the road and the lawnmower rolled on top of him. That is awful. He died of blunt force trauma. Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry. I just wanted to make sure you guys are awake. It's awful. Woods, what's going on in sports?
Well, yesterday there was a very clandestine, which means secret, meeting with some of the NFL owners and Roger Goodell. They met in Chicago. Jerry Jones' plane was spotted. Robert Kraft, who owns the Patriots, plane was spotted, as was Jerry Richardson, the owner of the Panthers. It was a secret brainstorming session about what they're going to do to get football back this year. Well, Goodell, mate. Ohio State quarterback Terrell Pryor was spotted driving his car, which no big deal, right? He's actually had one of many cars. The other problem is his license is suspended. They got him on film. ESPN has him driving away. License has been suspended for a while. The more I read about this guy, he is a giant clown, and I'll just leave it at that. Yeah, Ohio State quarterback. Yes. That's not good for them. No, it is not. He's a big dork.
Question, Woods. Yes. You were a child. I was a child. Did you ever stick anything in your nose or your ears that got jammed in there? All kinds of stuff. I saw this kid one time do this deal where he put spaghetti through his nose, sucked it up, and pulled it out. Tried that several times, could never get it to go. So I've had spaghetti up my nose a lot. Stuck? Stuck for a while. Not stuck permanently, but stuck for a little bit to where I was doing the... Right. Almost throwing up, trying to get it out. I had to go to the emergency room myself when I was five to have a peanut taken out of my nose. Now, here's the brilliant part of it. I didn't have a... See, you had a point. Yeah, I wanted to do what that kid did. Yeah, you wanted to pull one strand from the other nostril. And pull it all the way through. I had no plan. You just thought it'd be fun. Yeah, it was like... Yeah, of course it was a peanut elephant. Couldn't get enough in your mouth. Looking for other orifices to stuff food into. Surprise, your nose is the only place got stuck. Maddie took a piece of corn. They were doing art at school where you glue corn and peas and beans onto a piece of paper. She took a piece of corn and put it in her nose. We didn't know. The moisture in her nose made it swell. And so then she's like, you know, she's little and it's hurt. And I look in there and that corn is giant. Popcorn.
It was popping corn in her nose. Oh, my gosh. So I had to buy it. I was like trying to pull it out. Finally, I got it. What did you get? Tweezers? I got tweezers. Oh, yeah. I ain't going to waste it. I ain't going to waste a good piece of corn. It was dinner. I think it was Finn got a Lego stuck in his nose. A Lego? A Lego. A little square Lego. Those are big, aren't they? Different sizes. Different sizes. He had a pretty big nose. Oh, my. Matt's sister, Jasmine, got a seed. some sort of seed from a tree. She, like, put it in her ear, and she was trying to tell her dad, like, oh, I got this stuck in my ear. And I think he used a little water, like, was trying to squirt it out. Well, he watered the seed. So she had to go to the doctor, and they found that it had started to, like, sprout. And if they hadn't taken it out, it would have, like, gone into her brain and killed her. Holy. She has a poinsettia in her brain. Easy, plant here. Yeah, seriously. Plant here. 5701949. Holy cow. The interesting thing about us as kids is that we don't think beyond right this second. There is no five minutes from now. All we think about is peanut? No. Well, that peanut is about the size of my nostril. Yep. I wonder if there's no, well, is there anything that could go wrong with this? Right.
There is no, well, what are you going to do after? Why are you doing it? There's no reasoning. Nope. There's no, what if it gets stuck? All there is, is this has got to go inside my nose. It's got to get up in there. I got to get it in my nose. I got to see A, if it's the same size as my nose. B, can I fit it in my nose? C, how hard will it be? To get it in my nose. Right. What will it feel like? I really want to know what it's going to feel like when it's in there. Yeah. And then you do and you go, huh, feels like that. What a trip. And then you're done. Yeah. I'm all done. I'm done. I want to move on. Then you start to cry. Now I can't. Yeah. Now I don't know what to do. Right. Does it remind you of anything? It sounds like it could have very easily been something that you'd hear on this.
There's simply no consequence. You don't have a consequence. All you think to yourself is, can this fit in my nose? Then you realize, oh, it fits. Now what? What are you going to do now? Now it's in your nose. You have the answer. It's in there. I know what it feels like. I know what it was like to put it in there. Now I don't know what to do. I have a peanut in my nose. Oh, my goodness. A Bic lighter is in my butt. I have no idea why it's there, but it is. Now what do I do? It's a big glider. I can't get it out. I just gave myself a big glider. Clodonic. Clodonic. 570-1949. M1 Tiffany from Escondido. Good. I was just calling because you guys just found out sticking stuff in your nose. Yeah. And my five-year-old nephew stuck a...
Oh, gosh. Oh. like to the ear, nose, and throat specialist, and she had to go up there and take it out, and my sister saved it in his baby book. Holy cow. Wow. I'm surprised that they don't have special surgery instruments just for kids. Yeah. I'm sure they do. That's filthy. I got a piece of twig in my eardrum when I was little, and I told my mom, my ear hurts, my ear hurts, and she couldn't see anything, and she's like, oh, you're fine. Days later, she finally took me to the doctor. I had cracked my skull. From this twig that went in and stayed in for days. I was actually riding my bike and I fell learning and I went into a bush and I didn't know that anything was in there. That must have hurt so bad. Yeah, my mom felt...
Terrible. Oh, yeah. For days. You're like, you're fine. You're fine. There's nothing there. Mom, my ear really hurts. No, it hurts. There's something in my freaking skull. You're killing me. I got a diamond in my ear. I looked. There's nothing in there. Yes, there is. Yes, there is. No, there's not. Yeah, there is. No, there's not. Mom, I'm telling you. Yo, there is. And I just looked. Mom, yes, there is. Look again. I just did. No, you didn't. Yeah, I did. Aunt Seth, this is the doctor speaking. I know. There's a twig in her ear, okay? Whatever. Get it out. I'm telling you. Look, it's not there. It is. Hang on. Let me ask her again. Sienna, yes. Is it there? No. Okay, fine, doctor. Yes, it's in there. I'm telling you. I'm telling you it is. Everyone in La Jolla talks like this. Everyone in La Jolla. M1 Pierre from San Diego. All right. Hey, how are you guys doing? Good. All right. Yeah, so I guess what had happened is I was about like eight. And I had a party, had a bunch of friends over. So what I decided to do was stick my head in the popcorn like I can eat the popcorn with no hands. And then a couple of days later, I'd like kept like feeling around thinking I had this booger in my nose. I couldn't get out for about a week. And so I'm like, Mom, I got this booger. I can't get it out. She's like, what do you mean? And she's looking in there and she's like, let me take you to the doctor to go find out.
So I go find out. It was a popcorn kernel that was stuck in my nostril. A lot of popcorn kernel stories. Tonsils got stuck there one time. For days. A kernel? Well, it was like the shell of it. It like hugged onto my tonsil. And it was there for a long time. Days. And I was like... And I don't remember ever telling my parents one day it just finally fell out. Oh my God. Fell... Out? outer shelling, you know what I mean? And when did it come out? I was like drinking one day. And you were like... That's probably why I have this deep voice. Yeah, it was the kernel shell. Maybe it's still there. It's a kernel shell. Holy cow. You guys ever get a chicken bone? I mean, not a chicken bone, a fish bone? She's going to lose her coffee. Yes, Mike, you're the only human being to get a chicken bone caught in her throat. You know why? Because you eat full pieces of chicken, fatty. Live chicken. That's right. You got it stuck in between your teeth. Yeah. You got to ever get a chicken bone? You probably got some kind of a drumstick stuck in your throat right now. Long ways, Mike. The long ways.
No, a fish bone. You ever gotten a fish bone stuck? You have to eat bread. Really? That's how you get it out. There's nothing worse than a fish bone stuck in your throat. Sunflower seed's pretty bad. You got that? At least once a week. Playing ball. I get a sunflower seed caught in the back of my throat. One of the shells. I'm like... You did, LLB? One of these? Did you? No, no, no, no, no. I was just trying to make you laugh on the air. Oh. I thought you were saying that you got it. I have, but. Woods. What? Are you talking about? Show Sienna the piece of paper. Oh. Woods has gotten one of those in his, where? In your throat? Shh. That's so gross. What are you doing? What? Oh, boy.
Oh, yeah. Who hasn't? Who hasn't? You filthy dog. Let me do this. Don't anybody help. That's why I wrote it down. All I'm going to say is they are curly. That's all I have to say. I'm filthy, dude. That makes my mouth water. Does it? Yeah, me too. I'm going to throw up. Yeah. Yeah, salivating. Yes. She's just making me want it. All right, Rampage. We understand. Man, the black folk love me. I love black folk because I'm black. Got it, got it. I be loving me some black women. Okay. I swallowed a penny before. Did it get stuck? Yeah, it came out the... Ow. Did you make change? Yeah, out of a penny, Jay. Back in my day, you kid. Such thing as half a penny. It's called a bit. You can get a two-acre lot for a penny where I'm from. When I grew up.
When I was a teenager, I bought my first acre on a pence. That's what it's called. That's what it's called, a pence. Now, they only call it a pence if you pooped it out. Made out of wood. Yeah, it was made of wood. Later became copper, known as a penny. That was the ionization process. The ionization process. The ionization. But in the early days, a pence was a penny that you swallowed. Get a shave and a haircut. You got a shave and a haircut for a pence. And a prostitute. Depending on if you was in Tombstone or whether you was in Blythe or whether you was in Gila Bend. In Blythe, a hooker back in 1864 was a pence. We were just 13 colonies. You wouldn't imagine the things you could get. Let me tell you what. Them colony girls. Dirty rascals. Colony to the labor. Yeah, Colony. When I came across the Potomac River, it was cold. I'll tell you what. I had a pocket full of pints, though. Get me whatever I need. That George Washington, he didn't share nothing. Old pervert. Called him wood teeth. Oh. We really wanted to hurt him.
Well said. Back in Brawley in 1614, three hookers for a bachelor party was two pence. Anything goes. Yeah, that meant basically we could kill them. Yeah, if we wanted to. Now, we never did. Didn't we? We sold them as gypsies onto the railroad. For four pence. Four pants. I'm doubling your money, L.O.B. I invented the stock market, by the way. Two months after I invented Reno. I invented Reno. Then I invented the stock market. Well, I invented freedom first. Right. Democracy. That's right. If you will. Here's the things I invented in this order. The question mark, hygiene, and Reno. Hygiene. I never practiced it, but I invented it.
I didn't need it. Didn't need it. Oh, this is filthy. This is filthy. Kevin from Fallbrook. Kevin. Kevo. Hey, Kev. Yeah? Yeah. Tell your story. All right, man. One of my coworkers, I guess there's a story going around about him that he had a piece of meat stuck up in his nose. And I guess he was, he's kind of an aggressive eater, so. Woods. Like, inhale the sandwiches and stuff at lunch. Like, really? For a couple weeks, he's like, what's that smell? You know, talking to another guy. Jay. Oh, my God. He goes, the other guy's like, I don't smell anything, man. And he goes, dude, there's a smell. What is that smell? Did you guys step in something? Like, what's the deal? Oh, my God. And then they're like, no, no, there's no smell. I don't know what your deal is. And he goes, so, like.
A couple days later, he sneezes and sneezes out this piece of meat that's rotting. It's sitting on the ground. And everyone's just like, you've got to be kidding me. You've got to be kidding me. Easy meat shirt. Easy meat head. Meat snorter. Meat hanky. Did he eat it? I just want to be heard. I just want to be heard. I want to be salacious. Is this thing on? I was thinking about this the other day. I was watching a TV show. Documentary style TV show. On the History Channel. The show was called Mounted in Alaska. I thought you weren't supposed to watch movies like that. You have actually an accountability partner that you'll get in trouble if you watch movies like that. I filmed that when I was a teenager. Got me through college.
Finance your run to the Senate. Oh, yeah. Sarah Palin. She wasn't in the Senate. Or the... Easy fact checker. Senate. The governor. The gubernatorial race. And that won your mire. And another film called the gubernatorial race. Why don't you tell us about Mounted in Alaska? It's a show about taxidermy. But here's the thing. These guys will go to Africa. They'll catch these, you know, lions. Some guys will just go hunting there in Alaska. They'll get a moose. Yeah. I thought to myself, are there any, like, are there things that our dad could have taken us on that our dad didn't take us on that we would pay to have people, you know, as an adult to do? And I would. I want somebody to take me and get me on some deer. Put me on some deer. That's available. You're going to shoot some deer? Not and then laugh and walk away, Woods. I'm going to eat it. I don't kill anything I don't eat. That's why I don't like hunting dove. Because I don't like dove. They're so cute, though. Oh, gosh. Are you going to give me that freaking bit with that? Cows are cute, too. Cows are cute, too. Yeah, cows are cute. Not like deer.
They're so sweet. You don't kill the Bambi kind. Don't you? No, you can't. You can't kill baby deers and you can't kill females. Yeah, you can. You get a doe permit. I wouldn't get a doe permit. Too many females. Yeah, they overpopulate and then they starve. Let them die out. Really starve a slow death? Better than a bullet in the head? No, it's actually not. Try starving to death. Yeah, try starving to death. Couldn't go a day. Take a long time. Couldn't go an hour. Couldn't go 15 minutes. After 30 minutes, you'll be begging for a bullet. Live about five years. Live off the blood of Fatty. I think it would be cool to have somebody, if you could pay, they go, all right, I'm going to take you out, and you're going to get to shoot crazy guns. You could. You could pay me. I'd do it. I'd do it. I'd do it for free. Just don't get in the way, Mike. Dick Cheney. He had an accident. Sorry, Rebecca. He's gone. How about a hug? There's a little accident. This is him on the phone. Sorry about that, Rebecca. What happened? We had a little accident out here in Brago Springs. Is Mike okay? He ain't okay.
Is he in the hospital? Hospital. We're begging. Oh, where is he? Is he on his way home? Beggy. Beggars? Beggs. Old Mike ain't coming home. Not today. Will you guys be back tomorrow? Are you going to stay an extra day? Nope. We had a little accident. Did he pee his pants? Nope. Number two? No. Maroon panties? Nope. Skid mark. Break his leg? Did he fall in a foxhole? Forgot his sandwich. How about we don't guess for 30 more? Left his tray of enchiladas? No. Forgot his somero. Well, then maybe you tell me what the hell happened, Jay. I shot him in the face. Did you a favor? What a man of his misery. Is he okay? Well, no. He isn't okay.
But he looks better. Oh, he's coming home in a box. A pine. Homemade. A pine box. And by pine box, I mean a burlap sack. I think you're better if you ask me. Well, thank you. Just so you know, I had to use six. Six what? Burlap sacks. You can pay people to do that stuff. Pay Ted Nugent, dude. He'll take you out and teach you how to hunt. Dude, how great would it be to go hunt turkey? How great would it be to go hunt, you know, quail? I don't think I could do it, man. I don't think I could pull the trigger on an animal. I just don't think I have it in me. Here's the deal. Maybe I'd feel that way, but I grew up doing it with my brother Mark. You know what? I could shoot boar. I could shoot boar. Wild pig, no problem. Why? Because they're mean and ugly. That's a case I'll shoot you, Wood.
And they charge you. They charge you. I have a lot of friends that hunt boar. Yeah. If we're using your logic, it's wood season. Every day. Every day. Who wants to take me in woods hunting? Boar hunting. No. I'm going to hunt something cool. What else would I shoot? You want to shoot a bird? No. They're real sweet. Oh, Jay gave me a story about how they're starting to put a black box in your car. Hello, baby. Let me tell you about that. Show coming up. I think we have it. You'll be a part of the show. 57019. I am an okay surfer. On FM 94.9. Oh, I love M1 Matt Professor. He is, me and him are technology soulmates. He sent me a link to the Panasonic. Now, you should take note of this, L.O.B. This is a new Panasonic. Do you have a home phone number, Lauren O'Brien? I don't. That's 760-289-4436. You just gave someone's phone number out. It's a fake number. I know, but it was someone's, you know. What are you going to do? I guess nothing. I have, you know, sympathy for that person. Yeah, I guess, you know, just pray. Maybe they feast. Yeah. Oh. Okay. Instant person. Definitely make that worse.
But anyway, we were talking about yesterday how the WHO, the World Health Organization, came out with this thing that said, cell phones, we have found out cell phones can give you cancer. Now, that's something that a lot of people have been wackadoo about for a long time. And whenever anybody would say it, I'd say, oh, well, you're wackadoo. But what the World Health Organization has discovered. is that it is having the same effect on you as not an x-ray machine, but a microwave. And so if you hold it up to your ear and you talk on it a lot, it's having the same effect as a very low functioning microwave, meaning that it very slowly is having that effect. Now, Woods is of the mindset of like, well, whatever. I mean, it's not that big a deal. So be it. But here's what you got to realize. Cell phones haven't been out that long. And so we don't know that much about them. We're just starting to find out about them. Because they haven't been around long enough for us to know. 15 years from now, people may go, you dum-dums used to talk on it right up to your head. You did that? So here's the deal. M1 Mad Professor sends me a link to this Panasonic cordless phones for your house. They link up to your cell. They link up to your cell. And so you get a call on your cell phone. So you can take home phone calls on your cordless phone in your house. And you can also use it as your home number. So it does both. It's both your home phone and it Bluetooth connects to your cell phone. And you get a call on your cell phone, you answer the phone. So I don't need to get a home number is what you're saying. I don't need a home number. No, you can get brain cancer by just continuing to talk right on your. cell phone. Right, but what you're saying is with that phone, I don't need to then get a new number also. It connects with my cell number. That I do not know. Okay. You know what I'm saying? No, I don't know if it needs to be powered by a phone jack. Gotcha. I gotcha now. It may need a hot jack in order to work. I need a hot jack. It links up to two cell phones. It does a phone book copy from your cell phone address book. Pretty rad. Are you kidding me? Chances you have that before next week. Oh, dude. Next week? What are you talking about? Be here by Saturday. I have the Amazon Prime. Do you know what Amazon... Easy, big time. Easy, Jason Breesley. Hang on. Let me tell you about Amazon Prime. If you don't have Amazon Prime, you got to get it. It's 75 bucks a month.
What? I mean, sorry, sorry, sorry. I apologize. Don't hurt me. 75 bucks a year. And for 75 bucks a year, everything you order from Amazon comes in two days. It's a good deal. Now, if you order a lot on Amazon, then it's worth it. This phone that he sent me also has a digital answering machine. And you can link up to two cell phones on it. It's a lot of ringing in your house. Nah, because our home phone. It rings, though. And there's no vibrate. I like my phone on vibrate. The kids are taking a nap. Ring! You know what, though, Sienna? You know what, though? What? If you have a home phone and a cell phone, your phone's ringing anyway. I don't have a home phone, and my cell phone's on vibrate most of the time. You don't want to get brain cancer. I know. I don't. I don't. So get this. Maybe. It's good. What are you going to do in case there's a reverse 911? What do you mean? What? They call your house, like, if they want you to evacuate. The reverse 911 doesn't go to your cell phone.
That's why you have a home line. Oh, yeah. Or if there's a big, like... I still think people don't get what you mean. In other words, if there's a, like, let's say that there's wildfires and they're close to your house, they do something called reverse 911. All of a sudden, your home phone rings and you go, hello, and it's a recorded message that goes, this is an emergency. You need to evacuate your home, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Can I just look out the window? Yeah. Or on the TV? No. You don't know? No. No, you can't. In fact, when the wildfires hit the last time, dude, it's so freaking scary. It was 12 o'clock in the afternoon. It looked like 10 o'clock at night because all of the ash was everywhere. And I remember going through the house, taking photographs of all of our furniture for the insurance because they were evacuating us. And there was a car, and it was driving through the neighborhood, and it was a big thing, and it was like, It was just recorded. You must evacuate. This is an emergency. You must evacuate. This is an emergency. It was so scary. Where'd you go? We went to her, Rebecca's mom's. Wow. And imagine it's 1 a.m. You're not watching TV. Nothing's going on. All of a sudden, your neighbors are all packing up because their phone went...
Ring, ring, ring, ring. Yeah, we have a home phone. A lot of people don't have a phone. Most people don't. I don't know. I know Mike. It's like a waste of money. Most people don't have a home phone. We have the home phone, and I don't even really know why. I don't know why. It's good to have. Yeah, I guess for the reason. I mean, that's not why we do. We just do because we do. Yeah, it's all packaged in. It's all packaged into the internet and all that. Yeah. I guess I got to get that now. You're not interested? In a home phone? Yeah, because, see, that's the other thing. spotty reception sometimes, you know? Unless you get great reception at home. Then I gotta do the bed. I gotta long distance bill and all that. No, you don't. Keep it local. The only time we use that phone is if I just need a really, really clear conversation. And there's no way that I can let it drop. Mike texted me yesterday, call me on my home phone. I don't want cancer. Verbatim. That is true. Verbatim. That's a true story. It's a true story. I don't want to hold my phone up to my head. Why would I? I want to keep all the brains. And that whole conversation, I was on my cell phone to my ear. Look, you got all kinds of times. Oh. That can't be right. Are you sure? Can't be right. Yes, sir. Can't be right. Nope. We didn't? Can't be right. Do you want me to explain why? No. Okay.
570-1949. Jay says they're going to put black boxes in cars. What are you talking about? They're going to do this thing with new cars coming out next month where this little box will report everything that you do, whether how long you put your safety belts on, how fast you go, how much you break whenever you stop, so that if you're in an accident or if you're not following the rules, they can go back and look at these records. Yes, that's true, but it could also help your case. If somebody tries to say, Oh, yeah. I'm suing him because he was speeding. No, I wasn't. Check my black box. No, that guy was going 100 miles. No, I wasn't. Check my black box. But when you are speeding now, it's Big Brother's riding along in the car with you. And they're talking about video cameras inside and outside your car eventually. That's where they're headed. Well, who has a problem with that? I do. Okay, I know, but why do you have a problem with it? It's a police state. I mean, what are they doing? I mean, how much more can they get in my life? They're doing it. Freedom of choice. They're already taking freaking hidden cameras. Yeah. Red lights and all that garbage. It's ridiculous. Come on. Wait. Now, I've been popped speeding. Uh-huh. And I've been popped at the red light. Yep. That's not their fault. That's my fault. Catch me. Catch me. Catch me. Don't put up a camera. Yeah. Catch me. Don't speed. I want to. I want to. I shouldn't be speeding. I shouldn't be running red lights. I fought for my right to speed. No, you didn't. Well. And. Somebody did. Not only that.
If somebody ever was doing what I did, you know, running that red light and hurt somebody in my family, I'd want to kick their A. Oh, yeah. And I'd be like, glad we got you on the red light, pal. Hope you go to jail the rest of your life for, you know, hurting my kid. That's the way we do. We go, well, until it's actually going to affect us. I know. And I sped. You know, I sped, but, and I still don't go the speed limit all the time. I still speed, but. And I, you know, I try to watch it. I try to watch it, but I don't have a problem with anybody knowing what I'm doing as long as I'm not doing something. It's like saying, listen, I'm going to put something on your computer and it's going to tell me what you're looking at. Well, unless you're looking at dirty stuff, who cares? Good Lord, man.
You should be able to control that yourself. Okay, well, we're going to put a regulator on your refrigerator that says how much you eat. That's different. That's different, Jay. That's over the line. That is not cool. We're going to put sensors on all the food. No. Get out of my refrigerator. I am allowed to have what I want. Never put cameras at McDonald's, then forget you. You're not going to tell me how many burgers I can eat. Imagine that a report came out of what you ate every day. Maybe. And it posted to Facebook. Maybe it would help me to stop shoving those little golden fries down my gullet. You were right, Mikey. Oh, my gosh. Come on. We need an intern for this break only. He hates this break. He wants to kill this break. It's the only thing he does wrong. That's right. That's it. Hey, Mike, I got to have something. Everybody's imperfect. My one imperfection. Move it. Tonight's 8 o'clock album, Penn Back, Garrett. Summer in Abaddon. What was this mother in Utah trying to sell for $10,000, Sienna? Oh, her 13-year-old daughter's virginity.
Perfect. Yeah. Utah mother could be spending the rest of her life in jail after she tried to sell her 13-year-old daughter's virginity for $10,000. Her name's Felicia McClure, 32 years old. She was charged on Tuesday with multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor. Her boyfriend actually tipped off the police when he found some text messages between the woman and another man who was offering to pay for sex with the girl. There was also another guy in the picture, too, where the mother had given... in this man who went by the name of Will photos of the little girl's butt, the 13-year-old girl's butt, and just weird stuff. Her own daughter. Her own daughter, 13. Chances she takes narcotics. Yeah, probably pretty high. Oh my gosh. Yeah, they're still trying to find the two men that were exchanging texts with this woman. I bet they are. Went by the name Dawn and Will. Saw a great episode of the TV show I Survived. Some of them are really tough. Do you watch that too? Yeah, I like that show a lot. I do too, but sometimes it's heavy duty. Graphic. Heavy duty, but this one wasn't so bad and had a pretty good ending. This family, it was a mom and a dad and their two sons, and they were...
wanting to go do a mission trip somewhere in the Caribbean. And they didn't really have any money to be able to do it, but they really wanted to go and help people that had been devastated in the earthquakes. And so there was a guy at their church that was a pilot. He flew like a Cessna, and he said, I'll take you there, and all you have to pay for is fuel. And so they said, sounds good. It's kind of fun for the kids, too, because these two boys are getting, you know, they're young. They're like nine. I think one was seven, one was nine. And it was kind of fun for them because they're in the backseat and they get to wear the headsets. And they get to hear the pilots talking with ground control and all of that. Mom is sitting in those back seats as well. And next to the pilot, whose name was Chris, was the dad.
So dad is sitting in the co-pilot seat and he's really sort of taken by all of the gadgets and all the instruments. And he's asking questions and everything. So they go there and they do their mission trip and they're on their way back to Florida in the Caribbean. And he's asking questions. Dad's asking questions about the instrument panel and everything. And all of a sudden, Chris slumps over the controls. They are trying to revive him, and they're putting water in his face, and the mom is, like, putting, you know, cold stuff on his face to try to get him to come to. And they can't get him to come to, and they have to, like, pull him back so that he's sitting back away from the instrument panel. And the dad, he doesn't know how to fly a plane. He's never flown a plane in his life. So here they are, and they're over the Atlantic Ocean.
In a plane with a passed out pilot. And so they finally are now imagine now you see land coming up and all the dad knew how to do was hold on to that yoke. And he could just if he just held it, you know where it was, they'd be, you know, they would at least keep going straight because there's one right in front of him in the passengers. Exactly. And so he's just flying. So that's all he knows what to do. And so they get over land. And as soon as they get over land, they see a tiny airport and he's on this headset and he's trying to phone, you know, he's trying to reach and mayday to the airport. And he had asked enough questions to know where the fuel gauge was. And it's on empty. And he's like, oh, my gosh, what am I going to do? And the engines start to.
He takes the knob. He didn't know. He knows that there's a reserve tank. And he takes the knob and he switches it over to the reserve tank because he thinks that that's what he's supposed to do. And it just makes it more. So now he's freaking out. They're maydaying, maydaying, maydaying, maydaying, maydaying. They were at a thousand feet and they were flying underneath the radar. So that's why they weren't reaching anybody. The whole reason they weren't able to reach anybody at this airport is because they were too low. So there happens to be a pilot who is flying 800 feet above them around the same time, and he hears their mayday. So he tells the ground control people, there's a mayday. So now they know that he's low. They're able to tune into that frequency at a low frequency.
And they're able to talk to him. And this pilot that's 800 feet above them happens to be a flight instructor. Holy cow. I know. Oh my gosh. And he said, and they had the actual audio from the cockpit of the conversations that happened between the two planes. And he says, how much flight experience do you have? And he says, I don't have any. And he says, all right, well. We're going to get you to land this plane. I want you to follow me. So the guy comes down 800 feet and he gets in front of him. And he's telling him, you need to pull up on the yoke and you need to get that stick to the left of you and you need to throttle that down. And the guy's like, how much? How much? And he's like telling him, you know, this much, this much. That's too hot. Come back a little bit. You're fine. You're fine. Don't worry. He's telling the guy and they come down and he's going pretty fast. So they did three. You know, they hit three times. And you hear him say, too, he goes, how do I apply the brakes? He goes, I'm not going to have you use the brakes. I'm going to have you use the emergency brakes when you touch down. You're going to use emergency brakes. So he does the pop, pop, pop on the tarmac, hits the emergency brake, which kind of puts the plane into a little bit of a spin. And they spin into the grass, right side up.
Everybody's okay. That dude was dead. The guy next to him. He died. He had a heart attack. Chris. Holy smoke. He had a heart attack up there and died. Oh, my gosh. That's crazy. And this guy, I mean, the dude was a hero. It was like Top Gun. Oh, yeah, man. It was like Maverick bringing Cougar back to the flag deck. Oh, I love that scene. I know. I mean, he basically, he taught this guy. That's incredible. In one lesson, how to land a plane with his family in it. He's Maverick. Crazy. Rad. Oh, dude, those shows are great. And what they do is every episode of this show is always three different stories. The thing is, though, it's like going to a slot machine and pulling the slot, and it goes... Because, like, one reel is a good one like that. And they tell the story, like, split up. They tell the three different stories split up. They don't tell them in a row. So you have to keep waiting and waiting. But like you could get an episode where two of them are really good and one of them is really bad. Like something really bad happened. And those are tough because A, they make you uncomfortable because something bad happened. But B, it's really hard to get it out of your head. It's hard to get it out of your head. But oh man, it's such a good show. It's called I Survived.
Hi, Hill. Hi. How are you? I am like nervy now because I hate flying. You do? I have held strangers' hands before on an airplane in turbulence. Yeah, I asked people if I could hold their hand. I cry. I hate it. Really? Yeah. I have a hard time with it. The person that you asked, can I hold your hand? Man or woman? Woman. How old? She was older. She was probably in her 60s. And you said, may I hold your hand? And what did she say? She was great. Because I was flying with Jeremy, my husband. But we weren't able to sit together. And we were hitting major turbulence. And I can't help it. The tears pop out of my eyes. I get so scared. It was really bumpy, and I just said, this may sound so ridiculous, but my husband's not sitting with me. Would it be okay if I held your hand? Wouldn't it be great if she was wearing... I just didn't care. I needed that. Wouldn't it be great if the old woman was wearing bifocal glasses reading the New York Times and went...
No, dear. That's absolutely disgusting, dear. Oh, my gosh. My soul would have been crushed. No, she was my angel because she said, of course, honey. Of course, dear. She grabbed my hand and then she proceeded to, like, distract me. She's like, so, where are you guys going? Oh, my gosh. It's beautiful there. Like, totally trying to get my mind off it. Was it going? Yeah. And I'm like, tears. And I'm like, we're going to Chico or wherever, you know, my husband's. And she's like, oh. Have you ever toured this place? Oh, my gosh. So where are you from? I made love to a sailor than Chico. It was mind-blowing. You know, the interesting thing, he was a Latino named Chico. What are the odds of that? What are the odds, dear? What are the odds? Was that a Greyhound bus? I totally, I hugged her afterwards. I was like, you were my little angel. Give her a $20 bill. She knew exactly what to do. And this is only like five years ago. She's like, since I've got you here. Would you like to buy a gram of cocaine? That would have taken my mind. My dealer Chico.
Very kind. Awesome. Hillary, what do you have coming up? Gosh, okay. I got to shake it off. I got The Clash. I grabbed the new Death Cab for Cutie, Leaky Leaf, Fleet Foxes. Get on some social D.
