A few more LOB ‘Woods was late’ jokes are in order. Obama clip has us all now focusing on his end of sentence whistles. The BP oil leak is nearing two full months of gushing oil around the clock. The Mikey Show is one of the fastest growing morning shows in San Diego history! Mikey questions Obama and the Democrat’s doublespeak. The bromance passion levels are at an all time high. Sienna’s news of an eleven year olds bird paintings raising money to help the gulf animals touches our hearts. UFC fighter Kenny Florian calls in. North Korea is flexing its’ muscles again, and denying they’re doing it. The Chargers lose Vincent Jackson and Big Mac in a salary dispute. LOB’s elephants on the View joke regarding those annoying soccer horns are spot on, leading to a hilarious parody song. Woods on soup; don’t mess with The Kid’s soup! This means you Jamie! A M1 wants co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party but the fiancé has other ideas leads to a big discussion. Would you rather run out of T.P. in a public restroom or at a date’s house? Woods would use his sock, no matter the situation. Fart jokes never lose their steam on Mikey, setting up the awesome Woods/Mikey bathroom story! Some guy wearing orange is out there with a preconceived notion about Mikey. Next we hear the audio of a pullover where a Virginia woman has a goat in her trunk. Sienna’s “Mockey” is the best! What’s That Sound game gets some M1’s some shades. Listen to find out what Mikey did while other kids were playing Nintendo. North Carolina mountain man saw a blonde Bigfoot and told it to GIT! This is one of the funniest audio clips ever. A pant’s on the ground teen makes Mikey upset. Sienna’s dog has an appetite for diamonds. Donald Duck does another hot or not and says Hilary Swank is a “one dollar baby”! An Email about best friend’s buddy’s girlfriend who struts around the house half nude is next, and Lauren says she lets it fly around guests; Jay is not a fan of protrusion. Should landmines be placed along the border to curtail illegal immigration? A huge debate follows. Eminem went to rehab and Sienna tells about when she met the famous rapper. The show opened with a critique of President Obama’s BP oil spill address, noting his whistling S’s and his earlier support for offshore drilling. Later, the hosts highlighted 11‑year‑old Olivia’s Gulf‑coast painting fundraiser that has raised over $70,000 for wildlife. A bizarre bathroom prank saw Woods pretend to be on the phone while letting loose a loud fart, only to have a stranger in orange walk in, causing embarrassment. The conversation turned to immigration when GOP candidate Tim Mullins suggested placing landmines along the border, sparking a heated debate about effectiveness and morality. In a lighter segment, Mikey and Lauren played the Gender Pyramid rapid‑description game, with contestant Nikki guessing all six clues correctly. The show also featured an interview with DJ Cake, Justin Bieber’s personal shopper, who described scoring Heelys, robes and spliffs for the pop star. Throughout, the crew mixed news, humor and listener calls on topics ranging from the World Cup vuvuzela to Chargers contract disputes.

Bathroom Fart Prank
Woods pretends to be on the phone in the bathroom, lets loose a loud fart, and a stranger in orange walks in, causing embarrassment for everyone nearby.
Goat in the Trunk
A Virginia woman is stopped at a drunk‑driving checkpoint after a goat is discovered in her trunk, leading to animal‑cruelty charges.

KBZT San Diego. The Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of The Mikey Show. FM 94.9. Discussing the video this morning that's out of the cop punching the teenage girl in Seattle? Yeah. Detroit. Philly. So we'll talk about that in a bit. We do not have... Enough hours in the day to fit in today what we have prepared for the show. We have so much material today. True story. It's a true story. So we will do our best to get everything on for you. But I'm telling you, man, we got so much stuff. We have new songs that we've done for you. We have Gender Pyramid. Yeah. We got Woods. We got Woods. Woods is here. Full effect. Ladies and gentlemen of Woods arrived at FM 94.9. Safe and sound. This day. Safe and sound. He's here. Dynamic as ever. That's right. Well rested. Yes, he is. Well rested. Feeling great. Yeah. I was same as you yesterday. I was so tired yesterday. I wasn't. I felt great. Yeah. For those of you that don't know, Woodsy didn't come to work yesterday. Yes, I did. He got an extra three hours of sleep. He came in two hours late. Not two hours late. Well, compared to what you normally do. Yes. He's normally here at 4.30. Sienna's 100% right. Came in at 6.30. You're usually here at 4.30. You got here at 6.30. It's true. 6.36. Actually, I looked at the clock when he walked in. Is that right? Yeah.
Look at you. Two hours. Motherhead. Two hours and six minutes late. The show does start at six, but you weren't prepared when you got here. But you had sports yesterday. True statement. Kid was prepared. We had a listener do sports on the air. Did we? 5701949 is our number. Or you could text us 949mikey at gmail.com. Five of us are here. Live in the studio, holding up a newspaper to the radio so that you can see the date on the newspaper to prove to you that we are actually here today. Live. Although the cam is not working quite yet. No, the webcam will be up and operating in a couple hours. At 8, yeah. So you don't have to bombard Jay with a bunch of calls and emails. That's right. The webcam is sleeping right now, but will wake up later and then come in. Two hours late, the webcam. He's on my schedule. I was going to say that. We're preemptive. Five people on the Mikey Show. Myself, I'm the host of the show. My name is Mikey. I'm wearing a t-shirt that says Sparza's Cocina. That's not what it says. Cocinero. Sparza's Cocinero. And for you that doesn't know, but yet are Mexican, that means kitchen staff, as far as I was told. Yeah, it does. Well said.
Didn't really know. Your Mexican-ness is what defines you. Who got you that shirt, pal? You did, Woods. That's right. I had a wheel and deal for that shirt, too. I'm getting the hand, Hart. Every time you say something that we did in friendship. Yep. You guys are a little bit more than friends. I didn't get anything on the trip. Tough to have. I brought you. Didn't I bring you guys some salsa? No. I didn't get any salsa. My bad. Color him embarrassed. I did. Only your boyfriend. Only your boyfriend. Well, I mean, for a little. I mean, for God's sakes, the name of the restaurant is Esparza's. If I went to O'Brien's, I'd get you a shirt. If I went to Siena's Ranch, I'd get you a shirt. Well, why don't you go to Siena's Ranch? Did you go to Esparza's on purpose? No, I always go to Esparza's when I eat at home. It's delicious Tex-Mex. Welcome to the show. Five people on the show. Myself, I'm the host, Mike. Woodsy is our sports guy. And Lauren O'Brien is our assistant producer.
She's also gifted when it comes to the art of the impression. Very. She does some impressions. Thank you. She has great impressions. Occasionally you hear them here on the radio, on FM 94.9. Sienna is our news girl. There is no better news girl in the United States of America. It's a true statement. I don't know about that. It's a true statement. I don't know about that. It's a true statement. And I've seen a lot of them, heard a lot of them. And she is what you call a goldmine. Thank you. Let's see. And then we have Jay, and he is our producer who can literally build anything with his hands. Yep. He's a very crafty man. He's a pretty crafty guy. He can make an extra set of hands with his hands. Yeah. Good. If he needed an extra set of hands, he could just build something. Absolutely. Fully function. Mm-hmm. So a few things to talk about today. Last night, Obama gave his primetime address to the nation about everything going on with the BP oil spill. Can I say something really quick about that? Last week, we played an Obama clip of him talking, and I pointed out that his S's were very...
Whistles. Whistling, you know? Yeah. I got so many emails from listeners watching Obama on TV last night like, okay, all I can hear are his whistling asses. The whistling asses? Yes. Now, my job now then is going to be to try to hear the content of this. Over the whistles. Good luck. That's why I wanted to make sure to point it out before the audio played. Great. All right, let me try. Let's see. Let's try to make sense of what he's saying. Already, this oil spill is the worst environmental disaster America has ever faced. And unlike an earthquake or a hurricane, it's not a single event that does its damage in a matter of minutes or days. Wow. Maybe he did find something that'll take that out. It's the end S's, you know, minutes or days. He needs to melt some candle wax on the tip of his tongue. The millions of gallons of oil that have spilled into the Gulf of Mexico are more like an epidemic. One that we will be fighting for months and even years. But make no mistake. We will fight this spill with everything we've got. Will we? Will we? For as long as it takes. Will we? Will we? What are we doing? I don't know. We will make BP pay for the damage their company has caused. Yeah. And we will do whatever is necessary to help the Gulf Coast.
and its people recover from this tragedy. That a boy, Barack. It's not Barack's fault. I know. It's BP's fault. I don't blame Barack. No, I don't either. I said that a boy. I don't know if BP can come up with enough money. Yeah. Well, he's meeting with them today, BP today, and he's saying, look, you guys need to hook up this fund for the compensation fund, you know? Make it right. I'll tell you, forget the, okay, yeah, definitely the compensation, right? Yeah. For sure. You know what would satisfy me as an American? I almost think that it's too much when I watch television. That's what would satisfy me. I think that the response that BP has is almost too much. In other words, I see beaches flooded with hired people with sponges. I see hundreds upon thousands of people washing birds. And they're all hired by BP. I see boats. All you see out in the Gulf of Mexico from an aerial shot from a helicopter is boats and boats and boats.
scooping up oil. That's what would make me go, wow, they're doing something. But until I see that, I don't really know. Because, you know, you realize that oil is still farting out of the bottom of the ocean right now. Oh, you want to know how much? Because some scientists just estimated a new amount yesterday. What? The amount of oil gushing out of the well, it's leaking 1.47 million to 2.52 million gallons a day. Oh, my gosh. A day. A day. For almost two months now. Yeah, I saw an article saying that this isn't even with the updated figures. This isn't even with the amount I just told you. But they said that with the oil from the spill, it could have powered over 68,000 cars for a year. And that's not even with the updated amount of oil that's leaked. I didn't even realize that much oil was there. Isn't that insane? 68,000 cars? 5,000 gallons a day or something like that. So that's a big jump. Difference. Oh, yeah. Big jump. Perfect. Hey, picture those little oil cans that you could buy at home or gas cans you could buy at Home Depot. A million of those a day. One and a half to two and a half million gallons a day. That's insane. Holy cow. That's insane. You guys ready for $9 a gallon gas? No. No, I'm not. I'm not, actually. Well, see, I think that the majority of our oil comes from the Middle East, the oil that we use for our cars. I think.
Still not going to help. Yeah. That's not... See, that's like the least of my... Yeah, that's the last thing. Like, my deal is... Not me. I don't know what kind of money you guys are making, but I don't want to pay $9 a gallon for gas. It's not going to be $9 a gallon. I don't either, but... That's not... I wouldn't say it's the least of my worries, but it's... Hey, it's up there. Yeah. I mean, definitely. Can we carpool? Yeah. We'll carpool, but are you... at all concerned with the ocean turning into the toilet. And I don't mean the Gulf of Mexico. I mean the world. Yeah, absolutely I am. Because I think that that stuff is going out into the world's oceans. Of course it is. And I'm worried about the animals, man. You know what an animal lover I am. I think it's brutal. I'm worried about the animals. I'm worried about us eating it. I'm worried about us eating seafood. And I don't mean seafood just there. I'm talking like Alaskan king crab. Because that oil makes its way. all throughout the world. That trips me out. It's awful, man. Seriously, I want one guy to go, here's why it's going to be okay, Mike. Don't trip out. I know something about this, and let me explain how this will all work itself out. I haven't heard anybody say that yet. All I know is that that's pretty bad what's going on, and they haven't stopped it.
I can't believe we don't know how to stop that. How do we not know how to stop that? We didn't start it. We didn't start the oil, but it continues to plume out like a chimney spewing. We didn't start the oil. Wow. Wow. We're almost to two months here. This happened April 20th. 420. Killed 11 people. I mean, it's insane. Easy Pete. And they're saying that, you know, the ultimate cure, which is this relief well that they've been working on, is not going to be ready until August. Holy crap. So that's four months. Yeah. Nuts. With a million and a half to two and a half million of oil gushing every day. How's there that much oil down there? I don't know. I don't understand that. What the heck is oil? Write that down. Where's my clock? What is oil? What is it? It's gold. It's a natural. It's a natural what? Oil. What is it? It's a natural oil. It's a natural, I want to say element, but I know that's not right. It's all goopy. It stinks real bad. I like the way it's done. It's a natural resource. There it is. Yeah, there you go. And don't anybody tell me it's dinosaurs because that's a bunch of malarkey. Yeah, it's fossils. Really? Yeah.
That much fossils, huh? You ever heard of fossil fuels? Yes. Fossil watches. Fossil watches. Yeah, Mike, you ever hear of fossil watches? Duh. Duh. Got a watch collection, don't you? Hello. Cologne? Yeah. Yeah, fossil cologne. Mike, what do you think they make that stuff out of? Oil. It's all oil. 570-1949-949mikey at gmail.com. Thank you for helping to make The Mikey Show become one of the, and I'm talking about this version of The Mikey Show, become one of the most fastest growing morning shows in the history of San Diego radio. Wow. Nice. Absolutely. I love you guys. Love you guys. Love you so much. Love you. I love you. President Obama says he's going to compensate the people that have been hurt by the oil spill. He says that we've known. For decades, we need to change our dependency on oil. For decades, we have known the days of cheap and easily accessible oil were numbered. For decades, we've talked and talked about the need to end America's century-long addiction to fossil fuels. This is what drives me cuckoo. I read yesterday that Nancy Pelosi...
is getting criticized because she's got some office that's worth like a gajillion dollars. All right? Nancy Pelosi's a Democrat. And the thing that made me crazy about it is, is I go, I don't give two whoops what her office costs. I don't care. Her office could have emeralds lining the floor. I can style it for her if she wants. I don't care. The thing that makes me nuts, is that folks like Nancy Pelosi are the ones that are going, you rich people are awful and should be paying your blah, blah, blah. And that's like the whole bit, right? Yeah. And I'm just like, you do it too. You know, you do it too. Glass houses. Glass houses already with it. Flashlight bit. Yeah. It's easier to hold a flashlight than to hold a mirror in it. Now, do you hear?
In Obama's voice, how absolutely passionate he is about, we've known this. We have known the days of cheap and easily accessible oil were numbered. For decades, we've talked and talked about the need to end America's century-long addiction to fossil fuels. Right. It sounds like dad kind of scolding you going, you've known this. You've known it. Right. We have. But you also remember that about a month before this spill happened, you said that it was OK for us to do more offshore drilling. And you made a lot of people that support you upset because you were all against it. And that's been my issue is that Democrats, one conservative Republican's opinion, Democrats find it very easy to be like, we want butterflies and rainbows. And we want and if you don't want butterflies and rainbows, what a monster you are. And the conservatives are over here going, butterflies and rainbows sound great. But what about reality? Like, that's just not the reality. So I'm listening to this and I'm going, we have said for decades. Well, then what you approve more offshore drilling for, bro? If that's a deal that we've known for decades and decades, I'm all with you. Fine. I'll go along with you. But what are we doing more offshore drilling? Hey, I'm all for the electric car. Only problem is we're all driving cars, man.
We're driving cars. And listen, I realize we're a long way away from ending our dependency on oil, but I'm all for it. Whatever, man. I'll drive electric. As long as it looks cool. Right? Anybody have a problem driving electric? I'm good with it. And for decades, we have failed to act with the sense of urgency that this challenge requires. Time and again, the path forward has been blocked. Not only by oil industry lobbyists, but also by a lack of political courage and candor. You said it was okay to drill offshore, bro. Whose courage are we talking? I know he's talking about Republicans there when he says that. I'm like, dude, you said it. The consequences of our inaction are now in plain sight. I'm going to get agitated if I keep going. Yeah. I'm going to get it to you. You want a Prilosec? Prilosec. You want a Prilosec? Prolosic? A Prolosic. Prolosic. I'd like a Prolosic. He's talking about that whole, like, the death of the electric car bit. Yeah. Seen that movie? Have I seen it? Yeah. No, I've seen parts of it. What? There's a movie, documentary called Deathly Electric Car, and they blame it on Bush that, you know. That was excellent. I watched it. I watched it. I've seen parts of it. I'd like to see the whole thing. I did not watch it. Woods, you'd like it. Why are you snoring? It is truly amazing. You'd like it, Woods. I'm sure.
And they blame Bush. Oh, then I would like it, actually. Yeah, yeah. I mean, do you really think that Obama approved? I mean, he was not the first president to approve offshore drilling. No, he wasn't, but he did. Wasn't he saying we needed to decrease our dependence on foreign oil? Yeah, and he also said, and then he, before he got elected, he said, we need to stop this offshore drilling. We need to end our dependency during his campaign. And we need to stop this offshore drilling. We need to. And people were like, of course, he's an environmentalist. It's so sweet. It's what a good thought. And then about a month before this happened, he changed course. Now, whatever. Like, I'm not gonna give him a hard time about it. Honestly, you have a right to. Didn't you just? The only reason I give him a hard time about it is because now he's like scolding us. And I'm like, how come you're not mentioning the fact that you approved it? Yeah. You know, I don't know. I guess, and I say this either way, because a lot of parts of me are Republican, a lot of parts of me are Democrat, so I just wish that everybody quit blaming everybody else. Just, I'm fine. Just be you. And fix it. Fix it. Fix it. Fix it. Yeah. Bigger fish to fry. That bit. Doesn't necessarily fit. You got bigger fish to fry. Sure it does. There's a little girl's face. Instead of pointing fingers, we have bigger fish to fry, and that's fixing the leak.
It'd be great if you get to the source of the problem, if that's what he's trying to do. Well, you know, I think the source of the problem was BP, who didn't have, you know, a plan B, a plan C, a plan D. But I think he's trying to say before that, before their even mistake, how did it get to the point? Right. You know what teaches? It's our engineers. They're fixing our air conditioner. That's what we're hearing. Are they in the ceiling? I think they're in the ceiling. I think they're in the ceiling. Wow. No, they're not. Are they? Yeah. Hi, guys. That's kind of cool. So check this out. Waiting for Judd Nelson to fall through. Yeah, I know. A man walks into a bar with a two-foot salami under one arm and a boodle under the other. Right. Woods can remember every line from every movie. How come I get in trouble when I bring up movie lines? Same reason. Woods, you will when we go to break. You ask, I answer. As soon as we go to break, I'll probably mention that. You'd be like, Woods, so funny. That was brilliant. Really?
Your muscles look big in that shirt. Whatever. Whatever. Get a nice little tan. Did you go out yesterday? Jay. This is why it's hard for two men to be friends sometimes. You guys hang out every day. Yeah, we're neighbors. And we're buddies. We've known each other for 10 years. Is that bad? Is that so wrong? Sometimes people need a little bit of a break. Hey, we're trying to build chemistry and dynamic on the show. That's what we're trying to do. Then why are you holding hands? When I walked into the studio this morning, it was like you were the only two people in the room. Yes, we were arguing this morning when you walked in. Lover's quarrel. Hi. We were arguing. Oh, yeah. Hi. Oh, I'll just wait. What? I'll wait it out. Didn't I offer you a piece of steak? Yeah. In a row? After I told you guys you were being aggressive. Yeah, we were yelling at each other. Yeah. It's not what lovers do. And I go, I'm sorry, L.O.B. I go, did it upset you? And you go, that's a little, you know, a little aggressive. It was a little aggressive. And I go. You guys were in my space yelling at each other. No, she hates the space bit. She has a. She has a wall around her. She has an invisible area. Yeah. I do. Stay away from her space. That is her space. That's weird. And if you. And if you. Don't break the plane. Engage that area. Especially first thing in the morning. I got.
filleted last week. Twice. No. Yes. That's why you got filleted. I told you not to touch my head. I poked your little bun on the back of your head. Turn some mics off here for a second. Turn their mics off because I... Yeah, I'm feeling... Talk to you for a minute. Let me talk to you for a minute. Yes. And everybody listening. Yeah. Sometimes my particular job is, you know, dealing with your kids. Yeah, being dad. It's being a dad because your kids will occasionally say, stop touching my head. Stop touching my head. Dad, he's touching my head. I'm not touching you. I'm not touching you. I'm not touching you. I didn't touch your head. I touched your hair. I'm not touching you. I'm not touching you. I'm not touching you. He's got his hand right by her head, but he's not actually touching it. So I say to Woods, I go, don't touch her head. And he goes, I wasn't touching her head. I'm like the babysitter that doesn't know, like, should I interject? I don't think so. Is it weird? Meanwhile, Sienna's a perfect angel. She sits over there and just does her stuff.
It's fantastic. Oh my gosh. So speaking of Obama doing something about it, like I'm like, okay, so Obama, you're going to do something. How about this fifth grader makes all of us look like chumps? Idiots. What were you guys doing when you were 11 years old? Eating. Can you tell me? Playing Nintendo. Exactly. Okay. Eating Slim Jims eight at a time. Eating fistfuls of Slim Jims. How good are Slim Jims? So gross. I love Slim Jims. Oh, I hate them. I've been having years. Oh, gross. I've never had one. Weird. There is an 11-year-old named Olivia. She's from Long Island. And she used to go to the Gulf with her grandfather. And they would fish and feed dolphins. She loves the environment. And when she got the call from her grandfather telling her about the oil spill almost two months ago, she was devastated. Went to her room, bawling, crying. But she didn't just cry. She decided, look, it's time I do something about it. So in her room, she found some markers and some paper. She wrote a letter to the Audubon Society. It said, I want to help. I want to make a difference and show that the birds are important and we need to preserve them. So what did she do? Since mid-May, she's painted 150 original pieces. People have been requesting various species, like I want the brown pelican or the blue jay. Our general manager, Rick, told me about this little girl yesterday.
He's going to buy one of her paintings. No way. Yeah. So far, people have paid between $10 to $250. And when AOL heard about this little girl, they donated $25,000. And they're putting her work. Oh, that's so awesome, right? They're putting her work on their homepage. There's also a Facebook page displaying her work with over 11,000 friends. Wow. So far, since mid-May, two months, she's raised over $70,000. Oh, wow. To help the animals from the oils. That's so great. Maybe like a schmuck. I know. I love her. I have goosebumps. That's great. I love the happy stories of people actually trying to do something. Here's a promise, guys. We will... Okay, I'm going to augment the promise as long as it's like a $200 deal because they're saying it's going for $200. Yeah, $10 to $250 is what people are spending. We'll get one of these for the new studio. Let's do it. Let's do it on a break. Yeah. Love it. Oh, nice. I love that idea. I'm picking the music today, a little old school squire. North Korea's lost their mind, so that's cool. It's getting pretty crazy over there. Now, wait till I tell you what old Kim Jong-il's up to now. Cuckoo bird. Oh, and then, general manager of the San Diego Chargers, AJ Smith, he was offering Vincent Jackson, star wide receiver, and Marcus McNeil, guy that protects River's blind side, he was offering both of those guys a salary, and if they didn't accept it by yesterday, he said,
All right, instead of that salary, if you don't accept it by the 15th, we'll lower it to roughly $300,000. Did they take the deal or not? Woodsy will tell you next in Woods on Sports. Of course it is, when you do your gift shopping at Sports Chalet. The gift-giving experts are standing by to help you find exactly what you're looking for. It doesn't matter what dad's into. Handcrafted guacamole made from fresh Haas avocados and a touch of lime. and our creamy, smoky chipotle sauce for a wave of flavor you'll ride all day. We top it off with rice, beans, and handmade salsa fresca, then wrap it together in a warm flour tortilla, making the big burrito especial every bit as special as its name implies and satisfying enough for the kind of appetite that comes with a day in the surf.
Of course, at Rubio's, all burritos come with fresh chips made from stone ground corn, just like on the beaches of Baja, but only available in these parts at Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill. And now back to The Mikey Show with Mikey. I'm a Mexican little short guy, okay? Lauren. I'm so scared of authority, so I start crying. Woods. I don't like to be tickled because I squeal like a little girl. Sienna. Look how fair my skin is. I got freckles. Get out of here. And Jay. This is a paid gig. I'm 100% in. On FM 94.9. Pretty bad, dude. I would not mess with that dude. You know who else I wouldn't mess with? Steve. I wouldn't mess with Kenny for him. Nor would I. If you don't know who Kenny Florian is, Peruvian-American, this dude knows Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, and is one of the baddest cats there is in MMA and in the UFC. Kenny, you there? Kenny, are you there? Hello? Kenny? I don't even know if my... Kenny? Hang on one second, guys. Sorry, hang on. Oh, no problem. Kenny? Let me call you, right?
back with him. I think that went... I'll call you right back. My apologies. No problem, bro. No problem. Here's the deal. Kenny is going to be filling in for Joe Rogan on the fights for a couple of them. Joe Rogan right now does the... He does the play-by-play. And Kenny's going to be filling in for him and is an incredible fighter in his own right and actually lost to San Diego's Diego Sanchez in the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. which my wife has seen every season of. That's so funny. It's so weird. I mean, I love MMA. I love the UFC. She's way more interested than I am. And I love it. That's funny. Yeah. So we'll be talking to Kenny here in just a second. He's on. We got him. Hey, Kenny, you there? I am. How are you? I'm good, man. How you doing? Not too bad, man. Hey, dude, this is kind of cool. You're going to be filling in for Joe Rogan for a couple of fights, right? Yeah, well, I'm filling in for him for the Ultimate Fighter finale on Saturday night on Spike TV, and then I'm going to be doing the WEC card on the Versus Network with Todd Harris. So it should be cool. It's going to be a lot of flying around, but it should be fun. Yeah. Now, what was the deal? Did Dana go?
All right, let's see an audition tape. Let's see how you do in front of a camera calling a fight. Or did you just go to Dana and go, hey, bro, I can handle this. You've got to give me a shot. No, no, I didn't actually come up with the idea. The UFC contacted me about doing some color commentary for them. And, you know, I guess it went, you know, kind of well. I did, you know, I graduated from Boston College with a degree in communications, so that helped. Really? Yeah, I did a lot of teaching, so that helped me as far as helping to explain things. But I've got to practice now. I do a show for ESPN called MMA Live, which is on ESPN too. So that has helped. The UFC just definitely gave me a good start. I've had a lot of good feedback and a lot of help. It's not very often that you meet a guy that went to Boston College and is also completely knowledgeable when it comes to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Joe Rogan calls razor sharp elbows. Razor sharp elbows. Let me tell you something. I would say that I consider myself fortunate to have never taken a razor sharp elbow. But you're pretty good with the elbows. What's next for you, Kenny? Are you going to be fighting anytime soon? Yeah, you know, I have a fight coming up August 28th, UFC 118. I'm going to be fighting.
A great fighter, Gray Maynard, who's undefeated and a top lightweight in the world right now. And I'm looking forward to it, man. You know, it's going to be a big fight. It's going to be here in my hometown in Boston. UFC's coming to Boston. So, very excited and it's going to be nuts. We're kind of in the same situation here in San Diego. We got UFC coming here for the first time pretty soon. Very exciting when you get guys coming to town because we got a lot of fighters from San Diego. Yeah, San Diego, you guys have always... in a hotbed for Brazilian jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts. And it's beautiful there, man. It's one of my favorite places to go. Brandon Vera is going to be fighting that night. He's from San Diego. Joey Beltran, who's a friend of the Mikey Show, so is Brandon. Both those guys from here. Diego. There's a lot of dudes that fight UFC that are from here, and so it's going to be cool to have that.
event take place here at the sports arena, man. That's cool. Definitely, man. I'm sure the fans are going crazy that night. What can we expect from the finale this weekend? You know, it's going to be an interesting finale. Both of these guys are very good fighters, very aggressive fighters. And, you know, this is a fight that could potentially change their lives. You know, they're fighting essentially for a contract with the biggest mixed martial arts organization in the world, the UFC. And both these guys have... you know, encountered a lot of adversity in their lives, especially Court McGee, who battled, you know, drug addiction and overdose. He actually died. He was technically dead from an overdose at one point, came back, changed his whole life around, and dedicated his life in the last five or six years to mixed martial arts. And here he finds himself in the finale of the Ultimate Fighter competition. So that's a great story. And Chris McRae, the other... You know, he was knocked out of the competition, came back to get into the competition, and now he's in the finals. So it's going to be a tremendous final. Can't wait to see it, dude. And, Kenny, I appreciate you coming on and talking with us about it, and we look forward to seeing it this weekend. Thank you, bro. My pleasure. All right, man. That's Kenny Florian. He's awesome. And I look forward to seeing him fight in August, too. That's cool. North Korea is wacko, and let me explain.
cuckoo bird, completely out of it. They remind me of, I don't know, they remind me of a relative that you want to go listen to. I'd love to have you come over to the barbecue, but we can't because I know that you, I can't trust you to not disturb the barbecue. So they can't come over to the barbecue. And then they're like, how dare you say I can't come to the barbecue? And they show up anyway and they cause a scene and you got to call the cops. That's North Korea. Yeah. What are they saying now? Oh, it's getting so crazy. I mean, as we know, back in March, the North Korean, well, a torpedo hit a South Korean ship, killed 46 people. And international investigation was underway for months to see, make sure, was this North Korea's torpedo? Of course. It was. Of course. And signs are there that, yes, this is North Korea's torpedo. Well, North Korea is saying they're calling these findings, and I quote, like fiction from Aesop's fables. Of course they are. Yeah. It's not our torpedo. It's not our torpedo. So the U.N. How come it has a big old flag on it that says North Korea then? Why is Kim Jong-il's face on the back of it? Yeah, plastered the back of it. Does it say property of Kim Jong-il? Kim Jong-il. Exactly. So the U.N. is obviously siding with South Korea. How come there's a pair of underwear wrapped around the torpedo that says Kim Jong-il on the waistband? Stitched in. Monogram. Why?
KJI. KJI. So now North Korea is furious that the UN is siding with South Korea. They're like, look, this was not our torpedo. This is not our torpedo. You guys are all nuts. China is siding with North Korea, which is a huge deal. And now North Korea is saying, look, get ready for war because you guys don't believe us. Oh, that's a good reason to start war. Maybe somebody makes it. Yeah. Well, I mean, dude, let me tell you. Here's where they are. They're the dog that yaps really, really loud. Now, as soon as that dog takes a nip out of somebody's leg, something bad will happen. They haven't done it yet. As soon as they start nipping at the heels, something bad will happen. They just haven't yet. That's why I could never be a leader. Yeah. Kid's got an itchy trigger finger real good. Write that down. Thank goodness. Thank goodness. Look what they say. Go get them. Yeah. Lodge! Click music to my ear. Let's do it. Glad you're here today, Wood. Don't forget what it sounded like. I did. Gosh, it was quite a night last night for the San Diego Padres. They called this kid up. His name is Aaron Cunningham. He was 0 for 2 on Friday night. Buddy Black decided to put him in the lineup last night. Kid gets his first hit as a Padre. Grand slam. Are you kidding me? Yeah. Off of Toronto starter Brett Cecil.
Solid, dude. That's great. Grand slamming his first hit for the team. That's great. Matt Latos was phenomenal. He's won six of his last seven decisions. The Padres went 8-2. Still half a game up in first, man. This is a battle in the West. That is, man. It's awesome. Anybody else watch the Lakers game last night? Yes. Dude, I wanted to watch it so bad. I watched it. I watched it. It was a dirt nap. They gave the Celtics a dirt nap last night, and I loved every... single second of it. Celtics were blowing layups, missing dunks. It was so beautiful. The whole bit. They held, the Lakers held the Celtics to an NBA Finals low 67 points. 67? Wow. What's that kid's name, his first name, Brown, who did that amazing dunk? Oh, the alley-oop? This dunk that this guy did, I mean, people were losing their minds. I gotta tape it. I gotta tape it. And he's short, too. He's not a tall guy. Pau Gasol from behind the three-point liner literally just heaves it up and this kid grabs it and just... Bam! His feet at these other guys' heads. And this guy's like 6'1". He's not a tall guy. Why am I not drooping it? It was great. Well, like I said, they tied the series. It's 3-3. Final game tomorrow night in L.A. Here's Kobe on the victory. And that would be cut one. He did a great job defensively. He kept him out of the middle, kept him out of the paint. He did a good job on the boards. He executed extremely well. He didn't see us blow too many assignments. He gave too many easy opportunities, which we did in Boston. And then on top of that...
We had a lot of effort behind the execution, and because of that, we had a big win. Okay, wait. Big win. So it's all tied up. Yep, 3-3. One game to go, pal. And it's going to happen in Los Angeles. Yes. And it's going to happen tomorrow night? Yes. That's how quickly momentum shifts, man. Celtics were on top of the world. They only had to win one out of two. Now they're back in the Staples Center and LA is running show last night. My husband is now convinced that when he screams at the top of his lungs profanity for all of our neighbors to hear, that's when they win. So now he's getting really crazy. I was like, please, the neighbors are going to think something really bad's happening. He must have been in my neighborhood last night. Oh my gosh, he was getting crazy. Did you hear a lot of screaming last night, LLB? For the past couple weeks, someone that lives near me is really into basketball. It's fantastic. Well, yeah, I was watching the Yankees beat Roy Halladay last night real good and was doing some of the same as I was flipping back and forth. Yeah, I'm sure. Yesterday was the deadline for Marcus McNeil and Vincent Jackson to sign their one-year tenders. And what that basically means is, hey, here's a contract worth roughly $3.8 million apiece, something like that. And the deadline was yesterday. They had to sign it or their salary drops to $300,000. Well, neither of them signed.
So now what's on the table for them is $300,000 a piece. And I'll tell you what Chargers GM A.J. Smith said. I quote, We lost a couple of great players today, and it hurts. We are trying to build a championship team, and losing the services of both Vincent and Marcus just made that more difficult, but not impossible. In due time, Coach Turner will name two new starters. We will rally as a team and try to win as many games as we can. Uh-oh. Your all-pro left tackle and your all-pro wide receiver not coming. Okay, so obviously, Woodsy, you're like, stupid move, AJ. 100%. They wanted a long-term deal. Those are two positions. If you want to win a Super Bowl, you got to have. And really, especially Marcus McNeil. Yeah. Especially Marcus McNeil. Yeah. You look at all the great dynasties, left tackle, dude. The Dallas Cowboys, Larry Allen. Period. You give them what they want. Yeah. And you stop and you don't cry about it. Oh, my gosh. You want to hear what I'm thinking now? It's going to be rough. No, this is from a girl's point of view. All right.
But the Padres let go of so many people. And we were like, what are we going to do? They have no one. They have no one. Right, right. And look how the Padres are doing. See, that's the only thing that I can think is I'm like, oh, my gosh, I'm just praying that AJ knows what he's up to. Yeah. And I just honestly, it scares me more when people say we're going to have this awesome team. They're going to be they're looking so good. They're going to be awesome this season. That's what scares me because it goes to their heads when the team. In San Diego, both Padres and the Chargers, when you say they're going to do bad, they're like, oh, in your face, we're going to kill it. Right. I don't know. So I'm hoping maybe that's what's going to happen. Now, what's to stop AJ now from a week goes by, he smokes them out a little bit, they get a little nervous, and he comes back and he goes, listen, let's talk again. Let's talk again. They come back to the table. You know AJ Smith better than I do, but from what I've heard, that ain't going to happen. Yeah. You know? I mean, just based on everything. His tenure here as GM, it's not going to happen. Trey Thomas is not the answer at left tackle. And Josh Reed is probably not your answer for Vincent Jackson. So it's going to be rough. We'll see what happens. Also, I've got an update for you on the World Cup. It's super boring. Not a lot of scoring going on at all. The U.S. plays Friday at 7 a.m. against Slovenia. And that is Woods on Sports. Yeah, well, the Vuvuzela. The horn.
The Vuvuzela is the horn that they play at the World Cup. First time I heard it, I was like, is there a nest of hornets? I loved it. I mean, it's the weirdest sound in the world. The Vuvuzela. Sounds like a bunch of elephants on an episode of The View. It does. Wouldn't you go insane if you were at the game? If you were a player. I would be like, oh, my gosh. I guess you get used to it. Yeah, Woodsy, like, right after it happened, right after we saw the first World Cup game with the United States against England, Woodsy was like, doesn't bother me at all. I kind of like it. It's like a buzz, a nice buzz in the stadium. Oh, man. Oh, it's annoying. Sounds like a Padres game. Oh, wait. No, it doesn't. Easy. Got something for the horns.
The noise that goes on forever. Wow. The sound that they make is just wrong. It is. It's the Vuvuzela. South Africans together. So I decided to write them this song. please put your horns where the sun don't shine that noise is enough to drive me out of my mind this sounds so bad like the world's biggest behind stick your horns where the sun don't shine gorgeous gorgeous
I don't like the Brazil. No, I don't like having to not know how to pronounce it either. You know what I just was thinking about? We didn't talk about Woods. Probably something to roast me, I would imagine. You are correct. In fact, I'm going to have to ask you during the break if you're cool. Try to know the answer. You and the soup? Yeah, the soup. Perfect. No soup for you. We'll tell you next. Woods made it sour. Factical. Weird. Tell you next. Let your voice be heard on The Mikey Show now. Call 570-1949 or text 949mikey at gmail.com. KBZT San Diego, a Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of The Mikey Show, FM 94.9. Welcome back to the show. It's The Mikey Show. And I promised to give you a story. Woods made a scene. I can't believe that. Were you talking about yesterday when he didn't show up for work? No, not talking about yesterday. Is that what you were talking about? No, it wasn't when he didn't show up for work yesterday. Oh, something different. I was here at work yesterday. It was something different. It's a little behind. We went out to dinner. We took our boy Bauman. Mauman. Right. Bark Mauman. Sign my name on the head, dude.
Yeah, do me a favor, bro. Hey, do me a favor. If you can, do me a favor. If you guys can, don't say my name on the radio. Okay, pal. Bark Malman came into town, took him out to a dinner. Nice dinner. Delicious. And it was myself and my wife and Woodsy and his wife and Malman. Yep. And somebody had the audacity to have a little try of Woodsy's soup. Yeah. Disgusting. Guess who the somebody was? Bauman. Bauman. No. It was Woodsy's wife. Oh. Woodsy went up and went to the little boy's room. Yeah. And the soup came. She tried it. And he walked in while she was trying it. What kind of soup? Lobster bisque. Oh, delicious. I would have done the same thing. And. Tried it. Woodsy had an embarrassing moment.
For you or for him? Oh, I was coming out of my skin. The whole table was so uncomfortable. It's tough to argue in front of other people. Yes. The kid was a little bitchy anyway. And everybody does the thing where they're like, oh, stop it. Please stop. Okay, wait. He's kidding. So, soup comes. You're in the bathroom when the soup comes? Yeah, but I'm walking up as I see her going. And you haven't even taken a bite yet? No. So you sit down. Yeah, I'm like. And you're like. Dear. I'm like, dear, what are you doing? And she's like, what? I want a taste. And I'm like, dude, maybe get your own spoon. Everybody goes, are you kidding me? Get your own spoon? That's your wife. I'm not reaching over picking croutons off of her salad. Yeah, but you're Frenching her real good at home. Disgusting. How about the dog licking out of your mouth? How about it? Oh, my gosh. Yes. That's true. Dogs' mouths are cleaner than humans'. Oh, boy. Woods. I'm with Woods. Thank you.
Why? Can I just say why? Oh, wow. Why? I'll just listen. Because you wanted to be the first one to taste your boyfriend's soup? Really? Yes. Yes. It's probably why. Hit the button. I can't think of any other reason why. Here's the deal. Okay. Let's hear it. There's something kind of gross about soup to begin with. Yes. Yeah. I agree. I've said the same thing about cereal. You don't share it. It's just like cereal. No, it's just like cereal. It's milky, though. Lofts or bisque is creamy and milky. I'm bored with Woods. You are? Well, okay, I wouldn't throw a fit, but I would never share my soup. Because it's kind of gross, right? Everything goes back in. You put your mouth on, because you have to do this when you get in a bisque. You know, she's like... And then puts it back in the thing. And I'm like, oh, God, why? I'm even like a germaphobe. I won't share anything with my mom or anyone. But if it's Todd.
No problem. We've actually shared soup before now that think about it because he makes delicious ramen noodles. No, I don't need you in my soup. Better than anyone ever and I'm going to go in and I'm going to take a bite. Significant other would be a lot different than anyone else. Stay out of my soup. Just stay out of my soup. It's not too much to ask. But you flipped out in front of people? That's so embarrassing. I didn't flip out, but I was going to yell at me. What did he say? He didn't flip out, but he got very... You know exactly what it looks like, Sienna. You've seen it a million times. Okay, let's demonstrate. I'm Jamie. Dude, what are you doing? I just wanted to try a soup. Yeah, maybe get your own spoon. Why would you just reach over and use my spoon and get in my soup? Dear, it looks... I'm your wife. I just wanted a bite. The guy was just here, and you could have ordered some. It's really delicious. Yeah, but I don't want a whole thing. I just wanted to try a bite. I share with you all the time. Maybe dunk a piece of bread in there. That's how it went. That's exactly it. And you guys were sitting there just like... coming out of our skin. I gave the quick look to Rebecca. She gave the quick look to me like, it'll stop right now. It'll stop right now. I apologize later. And she, of course, is doing the thing where she's like, dear, it's soup. Keep your eyes on what's in front of you. You have a menu. You can order whatever the hell you want. Okay, Jamie gets a nice piece of chocolate cake for dessert. I never take...
I've been with, get her on the phone. In nine years, get her on the phone. In nine years, I have never tried anything on her plate. Ever. I like it. We're at Pamplemousse. You want some of this? Nope. Why? Because I don't. I got what's in front of me. It's all the stuff that I want and I'm going to eat. You keep what's on your side and I'll keep what's on mine. But you've never had the situation where you're like, man, hers looks so much better than mine. I swear on my mother. She's every meal. Here, try this. Nope. You love chicken. I do the thing, and everybody's different. I do the thing where I'll just reach over to Rebecca's plate and take something off of it and eat it. Lauren, I can tell by her eyes, she don't like that bit. She's not a fan either. No, I wouldn't mind it if my significant other did it, but probably not anyone else. Shoot. If you guys did that to me, well, but I've taken fries off here. I would share soup with you right now. I know. I ate some of your pasta when we went to lunch on Monday, Woods. Did that bother you? You did? I said, can I have some of these noodles? Oh, I was done. I was done. I was in the middle of my meal. I consider taking some of your soup French kissing you. I was done. I do. If I take your spoon, if you're...
Eating soup. And I take your spoon and I have some soup from it. I've just French kissed you in my mind. No, I agree that it's weird, but it's not weird if it's the person that you do French kiss. Might as well lick my underarm. Yeah. Oh my gosh, what? Soup is that intimate. It's very intimate. It's sensual. It's very sensual food. But it's no way. I could see if Mikey did it, but maybe? Really? No, he would have been like, oh, Mike, you take it. I'm just saying. Dude, what are you doing? You wouldn't want your friend to do it, but it's your wife. Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with what you do. Order whatever you want and keep it on your side. Just leave me my stuff. She just wanted to try it. She didn't think she wanted it. You know, she's smart. She did it while I was gone. She didn't think she'd get caught. She got caught. Oh, maybe you're right. Yeah, that's exactly it. Kind of proves that she knew. Yep. No. M1 Leslie from La Mesa. Yes. You calling about this topic? I was calling regarding those horns in the World Cup. Okay, because I couldn't see on my call screen or the whole deal. What were you calling to say about that? I was calling to find out, because my boyfriend is Mexican, and I made a comment on how annoying those horns are. And he told me that I just don't get it because I'm an American. Really? So I just wanted to find out any other international or cultural people that... Tell your Mexican boyfriend that these are a South African horn. South African horn.
Well, I'll have to tell them that. Yeah, they're not. Is it Mexico games or not? They're not a Mexican horn, though. They're from South Africa. Are we sure? It's called a vuvuzela. It's from South Africa. I'm telling you, I've been listening to it on the news. Yeah. I'm the only one that likes it. Thank you. You're not the only one. You like it, too? No, I don't like it, but as a culture, they all love it. Obviously, they're doing it. South Africans love it. Yeah, South Africa. It's a South African horn, yeah. Yeah. So they obviously love it. What? You're so strange. 5701-949-949-mikey at gmail.com. Give us a call. M1, Monica is on the line, but calling about something completely different. Are you there, Monica? Yeah, I'm here. How are you? Good. What are you calling about? I'm having an issue because I want to have a couple of bachelorette bachelor parties. We're getting married here in about a month or so. And I just feel like it's a bad idea to two things separately. But my fiancé, he wants the kids to be separate. And I'm having an issue with it. So I don't really know what to do because I'm kind of set on it being both of us. You want to have a co-ed bachelorette party?
I do. Sounds fun. It does? Yeah. Doesn't sound traditional, so I'm out. Okay, wait. But why don't you want him to do it? You are worried about, like, what will go on? Well, it's my second marriage, okay? And I got to experience a full-blown party before. And it's just, like, you never know what happens with those things. Is it his second marriage, too? No, no. My ex cheated on me. And so I've got some issues. So wait a minute. So you mean to say that you have experienced the single gender bachelorette party? Your fiance has not. And so you still want to enforce the co-ed deal, even though you've already done your single gender deal. Is that correct?
Yeah. If you did a co-ed, would you make it like an all-out, crazy, let's go to Vegas and let's do it upright? Or is it going to be like a regular party? I mean, we wouldn't sit around and blow a cake together, no. Would there be dancers? What exactly, yeah, what does it entail? Does it mean like staying in the same hotel and meeting up? Or does it mean like, okay, we're all going out to dinner, we're all going to the pool together? This is like a co-ed bit. Well, like, I don't know exactly what I'm thinking, but I'm okay with there being, you know, strippers walking around giving his friend lap dances and stuff like that. I don't care. His friends, but not him. Well, what about once you're married? I mean, I'm sure he's going to be invited to other bachelor parties as well. Are you going to tell him he can't go? Yep. Because that's going to be an issue you're going to need to face later on as well. Well, I mean, doesn't everybody see the issue here of she had her deal? And now she's denying him the same deal she had. Not only that. Yeah. But isn't she also, isn't there a bit of projecting going on because she had a bad experience of the cheating? So she's going, because I had a bad experience. You can't, I mean. Yeah, but he, I mean, he should kind of be sensitive to that too. If it's like a weak point for her, you know? Yeah. What, what does he think about this? Yeah. Obviously he wants to have his own, his own deal.
He understands, and he keeps saying, well, I'm not him. You know what I mean? For sure. I'm not, and I understand that, and I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I get overwhelmed with being, like, afraid when it comes to thinking about that, and I know it's my own deal, and, you know, I want to marry this man. I want to be with him, and, you know, everybody's saying, well, maybe you shouldn't get married until you can trust him, but I want to marry him, and I'm kind of going. I'm just freaking out a little bit. I was going to say kind of the same thing because it's healthy to have that separation. You need it. You need your girls' weekends just as much as he needs his guys' weekends. You know, you need those getaways together and time separate from each other, able to enjoy other people and other relationships. And I think that if you're not trusting him to go on his bachelor party... Well, see, this is the thing. If my ex, I trusted him. I mean, he had the wool pulled over everybody's eyes, and I trusted him. I trusted him, and he ended up to be the exact opposite that he presented himself to be. And so here I trust, you know, my fiancé. And it's scary to trust somebody that much when you trusted somebody like that before, and they ended up to be a liar, just a complete...
And so it's kind of scary to go there again and be like, okay, I trust you completely. Because the last and only person I ever trusted that way screwed me over. I mean, my parents fell for it, of all people. I mean, everybody was like, oh, he's amazing. And he ended up to be a jerk. Well, the problem is that you can't continue to live your life based on past relationships. Yeah, two different guys. Do you not trust him? Is that what you're saying? No. She trusted the last guy. She trusted the last guy and he did her. So she's like, hey, listen, I trusted the last guy. He did me. Now I trust this guy. What am I going to repeat the same deal? Well, she can never trust again because she trusted one person and he did her wrong. Does that mean you can never trust anyone again? You may you may never have that full sense of trust ever again. But, you know, you can't make the new guy do time for something the old guy did, you know, and. I agree with Lauren. I mean, I think men and women do need their space. And, you know, a bachelor party. Yeah. Hey, I'm sure the bachelor parties have gone awry before, but I'm sure there's been plenty that didn't. Yeah. Have you a co-ed bachelor party? I've heard of them before. I've been on them. I think they'd be fun, to be honest. Yeah. God awful. Yeah. I think it'd be a blast. I can't imagine having more fun. I mean, here's a bunch of dudes hanging out. What are we going to do? Go to a strip bar?
Or you get your girls, you get your boys, you all go party somewhere. Hook some of the single ones up together. That's called a party, and I don't think you necessarily have to go to a strip club, but what about just dude time, trip time? Guys going to dinner together, going to play cards together. I like you guys, but I'd rather hang out with some hot chicks. You get a bunch of girls in the mix, you're going to be going to shows, you're going to be doing a bunch of crap you don't want to do. No, no. Girls are not going to make you go to shows. What girls are you going to shows with? Maybe not. Maybe I go to the Hard Rock and throw dice. I see Wicked. Come on, let's go see Cirque du Soleil. Liza Minnelli's here. I have done the co-ed thing a lot, like, with bachelor parties and with the spring breaks and stuff, and it works out being really fun. I mean, you do, like, the girls do their thing, and they're like, we're going to go get mani-pedis, and you guys do your gambling and whatever. Why not separate it then? Well, because then it's fun at night. I mean. Personally, I don't really like going to bars unless I'm with my friends. If I just go and I'm like, cool, just standing here, just looking around. I'd rather do this at home. But if you go with a group of friends, it makes it fun. Yeah, but why not dance with guys that you know instead of like random dudes? I mean, I could see the fun in it. I could also see the fun in the other side of it. Guys don't dance. They do. No, they don't. Yeah, well. With a little social lubricant, they do. Hey, Monica, good luck. It's a good call. I mean.
I say try it. You've got to trust a guy. You're about to marry him. Yeah, I mean, that's the bigger issue, but co-ed bachelor and bachelorette parties can be fun, but I think there's a bigger issue here. Good luck, Monica. I hope it works out. Let us know. Thank you. Bye. It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing, you know? Hopefully. Co-ed stuff. He should be able to do it. Co-ed. You know what it is more than anything? It's just the non-traditional stuff that I don't like. It's not traditional. I like traditional. Yeah, but if one of your buddies, Mike, was getting married now and he was like, we're going to my bachelor party, you'd be like, dang, dude, I don't want to go. But if you could bring Rebecca, you'd be stoked. Yeah, I don't want to go do strip clubs and all that stuff. You know what I mean? Yeah. So that's a whole other deal. You'll go to dinner. Play cards and throw dice. Sure, sure. I mean, you're Mexican. Yeah, of course. You know how to do that. I just know how that works. M1 Teresa from Sorrento Valley. Hello. Hi. Let's just call in to say that what she really doesn't trust is her ability to judge character. Fair enough. Yeah. Yeah, you know what? I've had a lot of people actually admit that to me, say, you know what? I can't figure them out. Yep.
Going out with this girl. Every girl I go out with ends up screwing me over, and I can't figure it out. It's just I don't know how to figure them out. You hear a lot of women say that, too. You never will, man. You never will. There's no magic solution. Nothing's ironclad. Nothing's ironclad. You're never going to figure people out. I believe that you can take certain steps to try to do better. Absolutely. You know, you can take steps to try to do better. You know, you hear me talk about, well, what are they showing you? Yep. What are they showing you? Well, I mean, listen, lip service is one thing. What are you actually showing me? Well, some people don't end up cheating until they're like in their mid 40s or something like that because they go through something. They have a change. You know what I mean? You can't people change. You can't always predict just because you know that person. No, you're right. You can't. But what you can do is you can take you can just look at behavior and go, what can I tell? What can I take from this behavior? Maybe the behavior is innocuous. It doesn't mean anything. But maybe you go. All right, I'll give you just a me example. Let's say, for instance, I were single right now, went out in the dating world, date some girl, and she gets up every few minutes. When we were at dinner, she gets up like every 10, 15 minutes or whatever to go to the bathroom. And when she does, she's looking at her cell phone for text or whatever as she's walking away. Now, that could mean that she's just really social.
And she really is all over that text, right? But see, what a lot of people will do is they overlook, overlook, overlook, overlook. Little things like that don't mean much to some people. Yeah, but a lot of the people that are getting devastated by their significant others cheating on them, they don't have the warning signs like that. That's why they're so devastated, because they're so blindsided. They thought they knew that person inside and out, and then all of a sudden, like, boom, wow. I mean... I kind of feel like that's a bit. I don't think it's a bit. I think it has happened. I mean, I think like she was saying, this guy was a wolf in sheep's clothing, fooled her parents, fooled her. And, you know, next thing you know, the guy turns out to be a giant creep and a liar. I mean, people can lead double lives. Depends on, you know, if you're really busy. I mean, right now, I don't want to get you all weirded out, Mike, but like, you know, you're gone. Rebecca's at home. She could be doing whatever she's doing. She could. You can't keep a 24-hour surveillance on somebody. You're 100% right. But here's what I have to go on. All I have to go on is what I actually see in her. Now, I can tell you this. There was a time in our relationship where if you had said that, in my head, I would have been like, uh-oh. Oh, boy. Yeah, 10 years ago when I knew you, you would have said that. Yeah. And I wouldn't say it because...
I think I'm a pretty good judge of character. And looking at Rebecca, I'm like, heck no. I see the love she has for you. She'd never do that. That's what you, you know, you think. I think you guys would think that about me. You're not 100%. You don't know. I could be fooling around. You probably never know it. But what do you have to go on? What you do have to go on is what you actually see. And I'll tell you, man, I do believe that it is kind of hard. To hide character from people. I'll tell you this. You guys have been working for me now for six months. We've been working together. Roughly. Wow. For six months, right? During those six months, you've seen different ranges of my emotion. So you have a pretty good idea what it looks like when I'm pissed. You have a pretty good idea what it looks like when I'm in a good mood. You guys pretty much get the deal. Yep. You know what I mean? It's been six months. Same. With all of us, we kind of know each other. We know what's up. And so, yes, if I found out next week that it turns out Lauren is a serial killer, I'll be shocked. 100%. I will be shocked. But don't people always say that about, like, serial killers? Yeah, they do. He was a nice guy. Yes. He was just so polite. No doubt about it. Yes, they do. But here's what.
I'm going to come up with a name for this. I haven't yet, but this thought has come to me so many times. I need to come up with a name for it. We as humans, we do this thing where we say stuff that just sounds right. Nobody actually stops to go, hang on, I'm not going to let you get away with that. You can't just say that. We're going to talk about this. Because yes, people do. They go, I never would have suspected blah, blah, blah. Really? How about that foul smell that was coming out of 312? How about that? I know from my personal experience, when people do that stuff, I'm always searching for the clues that I missed. You know, old Magnum P.I. Sure. There's no doubt about it. And you were going to... I mean, Lauren is Magnum P.I. There's no doubt about it. He did always smell like perfume when he came home. See? That's the thing. I don't think anyone just goes, no. He was the, oh, just a sharpshooter. You would never expect that if they could go back and go. While they're in it? While they're in it. What happens while you're in it is you go, what do you think? You know, do you think, I really think he's a good guy. I think you hear a lot of people saying, I don't know. He checks his phone a lot. He's weird about me getting on his computer. Easy. I mean, there's people that have warning signs. Why did you say easy, Woods?
Computer bit. And we don't have to share everything. Oh, wow. Passwords and all that bit. Well, I'm not talking about passwords. I'm just kidding. Like, what are you doing? She can use my computer anytime. All right. Yeah. You know where my ass is parked every day. Do I? On my couch with a remote in my hand. Is it? Yeah. Write that down. This is Bird from Dragon Eyewear with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report for a Tuesday morning. This is being brought to you today. Oh, that's a Wednesday morning. What am I doing? This is being brought to you, of course, by Guayaki Urbamate, and it's looking like it's going to be some ways after the day as the day continues. A little bit of a southwest route on the waters right now, and some west-northwest joining in with that, too. Unfortunately, we're dealing with a couple of negative elements right now.
We've got a negative low tide we're heading into, and we've got some south winds. So both of those aren't speaking well for this morning's conditions. Some of the more protected areas have some pop-up peaks, beaches a bit walled out, top south-facing reef areas looking a little bit better. And the far north county is cleaner, and it is picking up that southwest swell more. But as the day continues, look for the sun to come out, tide to fill in, and waves will improve in both size and shape. Water temperature hovering in that 62 to 64 degree range for the most part. Up to 68 degrees, though, up in the O.C. area, so definitely things are on the warm-up there. Again, a kind of week this morning, a little bit of wind on it, going to improve throughout the day. I'm so tired from wiling out. I've been wiling for 36 hours. I just can't wile anymore. I'm so tired of wiling. The question that was asked was, would you rather run out of toilet paper in a public restroom or while you're at a date's apartment? Is there even a debate? So easy. For me, there is no debate. There's no debate. I would rather run out at a public restaurant. Yeah. 1,000%. Yeah. All of us, right? Yeah. No way do I want to run out of toilet paper at how do you say to a date? Hey.
Can I get some toilet paper in here? But you can say that, though. You can. You have the option. If you're in a public restroom, you don't have that option. What do you do? You're stranded. You use your sock. Exactly. I'd rather it be a stranger that I'm never going to see again. You guys have never done that? Use your sock? Yeah, I would use my sock. Oh, my God. It's called being crafty. Ew. Yeah, I would go, like, my underwear, I think. Yeah, 100%. Yeah. Leave it there. If I had to, yeah. Got to do what you got to do. I've never been in that situation. M1 Nathan from San Marcos. Yeah. What would you do? I'm a plumber, and it's like we come across these things all the time where you're out in the field, you're out in Fallbrook, there's no bathroom. We have no toilet paper. So all of us are now, you know, we all bring baby wipes. We bring toilet paper or whatever we need to bring. That's a good move. Because we've been in those circumstances. That's a great idea. Brilliant. I thought he was going to say he's a plumber and he sees things like socks and stuff stuck in the pipes. Probably does. Hey, thank you, Nathan. I appreciate it. See you, dude. Hey, I want to give a shout out to my buddy who's a plumber. He just had his first.
Newborn baby girl, Michaela. Nice. Congratulations. And one Michaela. Very cool. Thank you, Nathan. You guys have a good one. God bless. God bless. I am going to give a disclaimer to the next story that I'm about to tell. Oh, boy. And the disclaimer is, if you are over the, well, I'm 40, so I'm really not sure how old you have to be, but what I am about to tell you is potty humor. Oh, boy. And some people are too mature, okay? I am not. I'm not. I'm a child inside. I'm 40 years old, but passing gas makes me laugh. I have been waiting 22 hours for this story. Now, I'm only telling you that because I know that there are a lot of you driving in your car. For instance, my mother-in-law, my mother-in-law loves the Mikey show. When it comes to the fart humor, she and my wife, too. My wife, same exact bit.
My wife simply doesn't understand why a fart is funny. They're very classy and demure ladies. That's why. And I can't explain to her. And it's literally a situation where she's like, but I just don't understand. Like where, I don't understand why that's funny. And I said, well, and I've, so I've tried to like scientifically break it down for her and be like, well, babe, it's a funny sound. It sounds so funny. Yeah. You know, it sounds so funny. I knew I loved Todd when he imitated a fart. Yeah. It's just, it's the moment. From childhood, I've been fascinated by the sound, and it has tickled me since I was a child. Yeah. And at 40 years of age, it still really, really tickles me. It brought me to a knee yesterday, and I'm not kidding. It brought me to a knee, one knee, and I was sitting out in front of our building laughing so hard my stomach hurt. L.O.B., you're not entertained by it at all, right? sometimes, but I know the oversell bit and I smell an oversell. This one kind of delivers a little bit. Let me ask you, Jay, where are you on the fart humor? I'm all in. All in. Most guys are. I mean, it's funny from time to time. Can I set it up? Let me do that. Really? I was going to let you deliver. I wanted to set it up. This is a bromance fight. Because I think that the reason that I should is because from my point of view,
It was humiliating. From your point of view... Oh, it was humiliating for me, too. Well, then let me give... I'll let you deliver the home run, but let me throw the pitch. Oh. Go ahead. Maybe you let him host his own show. Yeah. Is it the Wood Show? Or what? Maybe you guys keep your eyes on your own papers over there. We're part of the team here. Maybe. Trying to keep the captain in check. Yeah. Captain's fine. Trying to steal the shit. Well, so if you let me... Yeah! Ah! Yeah! What is that? It's a clip of a guy. You'll see. From a news story that we're going to be playing in a little bit that goes. I know. Nice. The best. All right. So after the show yesterday, as for those of you who didn't hear, I showed up late and it was a rough morning. I had a rough morning. And then Mikey and I retired to the office and we had a little chat and it was fine. So after the chat, we both go our separate ways. And I realized that I have to make number one. So I, as I always do after the show, I call my wife. And I call her, and I'm making number one, and I have the cell phone up to my ear. And from there, so I'm doing my thing, and I've got the cell phone to my ear in the bathroom. Now I turn it over to our host, Michael Esparza. I was in the stall. And Woods didn't know? I'll just tell you. I'll just tell you the stall. Oh, my gosh. I had no idea. You didn't know? Okay. No. I was in the stall, and I heard Woods go.
I heard Woods go, hey, dear. Uh-huh. And I'm like, oh, I'm going to be a little rascal, right? Because he doesn't know who's in here. I had no clue. And I hear him, so I'm going to be a rascal. So I go like this. Louder. Really loud. Yes. Accompanied with a toilet flush. Right. Oh, my gosh. A flush. And I'm in this bathroom. And I'm giggling to myself. So then. My eyes are this big. Yeah. So I go to do my reveal to him to let him know it's me. I unlock the little stall. Oh, no. Oh, no. I fling the stall open. Oh, no. And there's a man standing there, and it isn't Woods. Because Woods had walked out of the bathroom. And so you know what I did? What? Oh, boy. In the most ungraceful move ever, I open the stall, I see the guy, and I go, oh, and I close the stall. So we make eye contact. He was wearing orange. Orange. That's all I know.
He's wearing orange. We make eye contact. He's not someone that we regularly see. No, I don't even know. And he looks at me and I look at him and he's like, you were the person doing that. And then I close the door and I lock it. Like, what's he going to do? You climb up on the toilet seat so he can't see your feet. And he proceeds to wait a while. No. Washing his hands and just hanging out. And I'm just like, and I get my cell phone out and I text Woods. were you just in the bathroom? Like, I'm like, I know that was his voice. I know that was his voice. I know that was his voice. I text him, were you just in the bathroom? And he texts back, yeah, was that you wrecking shop? I, here's the deal. I was so uncomfortable. It was so loud. And I go, I go, dear, just hang on. And I was walking out, buckling my pants before I didn't wash hands. I didn't do anything. And I did it with, so people know, I did it with my mouth. I go, I believe you. Yeah, he did. I mean, now that I think about it, but I was like, something's wrong with that guy. And I went to the elevator and Jamie's like, she goes, what is your problem? I go, I go, there was a guy in the bathroom farting so loud. It made me sick.
I mean, you know Mike. He would clench up before he would let it rip. Well, here's the thing. If someone else was in there. I thought when he texted me, were you just in the bathroom? And I go, yeah, was that you wrecking shop in there? I thought he was going to be like, yeah, sorry, my stomach's really upset. I thought he was going to apologize. No, I told him the story. I go, dude, I heard your voice. And started making fart noises and then opened the door and there was a stranger wearing orange. I ran out. Like, I didn't even finish my business, dude. I ran out. Maybe you guys both learn a lesson. Don't talk on your phones in the bathroom. Don't worry about it. You keep your eyes on your own paper. It's gross. I do the whole time when I'm filing papers. Ew. I got downstairs. Oh, my goodness. I got down. Woodsy goes, you know, are you coming out downstairs? And I said, yeah. I walk out. And I don't know that I've ever seen him laughing so hard. He was laughing so hard. I was on a knee. I was still red. I was still red. He goes, dude. And I go, what? I go, I didn't know that was you. It was so loud. I wanted, in my little, you know, fantasy, I open the door and you go, ah, that was you. And we have a good laugh. It's a stranger just looking at me. I ran as fast as I could out of there. It was so loud and it sounded so real.
All right, but what about this? Woods, you can tell a fart from a real fart, I would think. Oh, absolutely. It was dead on. Mike? No. Mike? I did three of them in a row. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. And I'm like, oh, God, somebody is dying in there. That guy, what does he think of me? What does he think of, and what do I think of me? Like, who am I? What am I doing? Dude, you're 40. I'm 40. I'm 40 years old. I've got three kids. It's funny. I have a mortgage. Do mortgage. When you were at the urinal, was the guy in orange there? Yes. Did you look at him like, dude. No, I was, it was a bathroom rule for men. You just don't acknowledge. You don't acknowledge. You don't do anything. So I was just like. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. In my head. I was like, I got to get out of here ASAP. Because I don't want to see who this guy is that's making these noises. Because it was foul. Oh, it was so great. Oh, wow. I wanted so bad to see him there. And when I saw that guy, I slammed the door. You slammed the door shut. And locked it. Like, what's the lock about, by the way? Oh, by the way. Like, that was such a five-year-old girl thing to do. Oh, yeah.
Yeah. Shut the door. And then I had to wait for him to leave. And when he left, I walked over to the door where the bathroom leaves and I opened it a crack. And if I had seen him, I'd have shut that. But he was gone. The coast was clear. And I walked out. Just in case this happens again, which I have a feeling it probably will. Just walk out. And if you see someone, I just be like, oh, my God, dude, I'm so sorry. My buddy was just out here. You saw the guy on the phone. No way. I was trying to mess with him. No way. No. Because he would have been like, sure you were, pal. Who cares? Because I didn't want that. I'm just being honest. I didn't want him to know how immature I am. Don't say grow up, Pete. I want only Woods to know. Every guy likes a farting joke. I only wanted Woods to know. So you'd rather have him think that you were just going through some issues? Yeah. What you did was a million times worse. It was so great, man. If given the option again, you're right. You slammed the door. I reacted. And he went back in the stall as if he thought no one was there. Yeah, and I waited. You heard me! It was so great. Oh, my God! I didn't need food! My stomach is hurting! I had Papa Doms! You should throw it down like a badge of honor. Like, hey, hear what I did in there? Yeah, killed it.
Like, ah, I feel great now. Are you kidding? That is not me anyway. Like, if I really do have to, I'll practically sit Indian style so that people can't recognize my shoes. Oh, wow. I'm so self-conscious. It was brilliant. The toilet flush with the... Oh, that's... It's called the mercy flush. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I was like, man, this guy's in bad shape, dude. I got to get out of here because I'm going to vomit. My wife, my wife right now... hasn't cracked a smile in five minutes. She's nodding her head. Why does she tell these stories? Yeah, shaking. Idiot. It's me. That's Woods, too. What would you have done? Would you have laughed really hard if I... Oh, man, I would have killed it. It killed me anyway. It was better. I love that, dude. Let's see. Oh, this is good. I got some more Would You Rathers, but I want to do this, too. Did you guys hear about the... A woman that was pulled over because she had a goat in her trunk? Yeah, this happened in Virginia. It was a drunk driving checkpoint, and this woman was pulled over, 32 years old, and the deputy heard some noise coming from the trunk, opened it up. There's a goat in there. Poor, poor goat had been in there. She says that she picked up the goat from a farmer. She got it for the passengers that were in the car. I don't really know what that means or why. Good old Virginia. Yeah. She was charged with cruelty to animals and released.
It probably sounded like this. It's hot in there. Good morning, ma'am. Morning. Can I see your license and registration, please? There you go, right here. Do you know why I pulled you over? Not a clue, sir. Well, originally, you ran a red light. But let me ask you what in the same hell that noise is. I was in a hurry, and I just have a little tickle in my throat. A tickle in your throat? It sounds like a goat. No, I said my throat. Yeah, but I'm hearing hooves and stuff on a trunk. Open the trunk, ma'am. Okay. Open the damn trunk. Well, I'm going to need a wire hanger for you to put it. Are you? Here. Oh, here. Ma'am, what in the hell do you have a goat in the back of your trunk for? That's Pasquale. Pasquale? What is Pasquale for?
It's Basquale, and he's just my friend. He's your friend? Why do you keep him in the trunk? Because he's a noisy bugger. He sure is. Ma'am, you know it's illegal in the state of Virginia to carry a goat hog-tied in your trunk? Well, I know that, but I know it's not illegal to have him in there when he's not hog-tied, but Basquale. Basquale, shut your mouth. Is he a Latino goat? With tiny little arms and legs? Sort of Spaniard. He's a Spaniard? I think so. Well, y'all have a nice day. All right. Mikey, are you a goat in another life? That was amazing. Dead on. The first goat noise, I thought it was a real goat. No way. Oh, my gosh. We did that, and we came back in here. It's totally silent. LLB goes, this is my job. That's ridiculous. That's a clown. Oh, that's fantastic. That's fantastic. I might need to hear that again later. Hey, let me ask you. Jason, are you still doing What's That Sound? Nope, we're ready to go. We're ready? So there's five sound effects in there, and we need two callers to compete.
All right, 570-1949. 570-1949. We're going to play What's That Sound? And you just have to get best out of five, right? That's right. Best out of five wins. A little Cinderella. Yeah! Financial media station, the new home of The Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. Welcome back. Coldplay. It's daylight. You know how I know you're gay? Oh. Because you like Coldplay? I'm just kidding. I love Coldplay. That was from a movie. So don't anybody freak out. What? 40-year-old virgin? Yeah. Yeah? Yeah. Don't freak out. Just a movie quote. Settle down. Yeah, you made a joke the other day. Got everybody upset. It was a TV. Sure was. Show quote from The Sopranos. Sure was. Yeah, don't quote me. Quote Tony Soprano. You got a problem. Take it up with him. Yeah, but you can't say it with such conviction. Maybe don't say it in San Diego. Can't I? I made a joke about skateboarders. We don't need to bring it up again. Let me out. Let me out of here. Don't freak out, everybody.
I'm going to talk about your non sequiturs. Oh, yeah? What's the matter with you people? I was joking. He was kidding. Don't you know a joke when you hear one? No. No, I don't. It's a joke. You know what stops me from freaking out? When people say, no, don't freak out. It's like saying, calm down. Don't flip out now. It's okay. What's the matter with you people? I'm joking. Don't you know a joke when you're around? Just going for a cheap laugh. Real good. You know when jokes, you know what works is when jokes are funny. Yeah, there you go. That joke is hysterical. It was funny when it was on the movie. Or the TV show. Or the TV show on the East Coast. Now listen, if you want to know what it was about, Woodseal posted on his Facebook again later today. And if you disapprove, please let him know. Hey, Darth Lauren. Yes. Darth Lauren. It's freezing in here. Can't win in this place. It's either like Miami or Alaska. It's like Cuba. Yeah. That L.O.B. is going to be the death of me. Slice me off a piece of that beef that's hanging from the ceiling. I'm getting a little hungry. You guys are so dramatic. You're very dramatic.
Why is that giving me the death of you? Why is the snot coming out of her nose turned into icicles at this point? I don't know why. That was an overreaction. I mean, it's not that cold. I think maybe it's... I'm cold. That was an overreaction. Your heat escapes through your feet and your head. Okay. We cover it up. You ready to play What's That Sound? First time ever. We've never done it. Second time. Second time. We did? Yes. What station? 94.9. You're actually the host, Mike. That's right. You're the host of the show. Jay's jaw is on the ground. I'm glad I spent three hours on the first version of that show. Thank you. This is the most amazing. It really stood out for you. It's the most memorable game we've ever had. We're going to try something new next week called Name That Tune. I don't know. It should work out good. Maybe I interview some kids. Get me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. We're just all in roast mode. I know. From yesterday. Should we talk again about how Woody was late yesterday? No, we shouldn't. You don't worry about it. Kid's here and he's dynamic and he's ready to go. You get Maki and I'm... Maki. Maki. I'm sorry. My alarm is flashing. Jamie said that. Jamie goes, I got home and she goes, first of all, I love the Maki beat. And she goes, second of all, Sienna.
Knocks it out of the park. Hers is the best. It's like, oh, great. Because I'm so bad at it. I love it. She loves it. I hear. That was it, too. It was like the whole thing. Like, she had to do it. Yeah. What's the invitation? Oh, my God. I had tears coming out of my eyes yesterday. Maki. God. Maki. Maki, really? All right, let's play a game we've played before. It's called, what's that sound? M1 Brad from Rancho Bernardo, are you ready to play? Good to go. All right, and M1's Zack-A-Lantern, are you there? Yes. Good morning, Breath is Fun. Good morning. What up, Zack-A-Lantern? All right, so you guys use your names as a buzzer. Do you understand? Got it. Okay. All right. So when you recognize the sound, say your name. It's just hard to hear over the phone. It comes to so much clearer on the radio. Yeah, I know. I know. But you just got to listen as best you can. All right. And I cannot tolerate the excuses already. You're going to do great. Are you ready? Good to go. All right. Here we go. Who said their name? One of you guys say your name? Nope. No? Thought you did. Hi, Brad.
Brad? Fireworks. That is correct. Bing bong. He's on the board. All right, Brad. You got one. Here's the next one. Zach? Yeah, like static off a TV or bad station. Yeah. Incorrect. That was a slap. Oh. I almost said clapping, but eh. It was a slap. I thought it was a nail gun. I don't know, but the phone it isn't. Been a good girl. No more complaining. Kind of sounded like L.O.B. slapping Wizzy. Yeah. Fair enough. Weird, because it was. That's actually, yeah, where we got the clip from. I would have accepted that. All right, here we go. Brad. Dolphin. That is correct. Well done. Brad, way to go.
I need a better phone. Really, Zach? Really, Zach? And I need a better alarm clock, pal. That's right. That didn't fly yesterday. It's not going to fly today. There we go. Zach? Oh, I was going to say water, but I wanted to change it to a train. Brad! Brad's like, that's wrong. Brad? Yeah! It is all over. However... I'm still going to play the last sound effect just because we have it. Maybe we all play. Yeah, we all play. But Brad, you are a winner. Hang on the line, fellas, okay? Brad's a winner. What did he win? He won sunglasses from Angel and Anarchy. Yeah! I love those. They look great on your face. Right on. Thank you, Sienna.
No, I'm just kidding. They are amazing sunglasses. The only thing is, is that we've got to get some more. We've got to get some more because we... You know what we have next week? What? Tickets to see Tool. Yes! There you go. That's what I'm talking about. That's a great prize. Tool tickets. Yes. If you will. You ready? Yeah, let's compete on this last one. What's a video game? Super Mario Brothers. Yeah, Super Mario Brothers. Ding, ding, ding. Lauren is correct. I said video games. Well, I spoke out of turn, so technically I lost. Super Mario Brothers dies. Maybe I get the point because I didn't do anything wrong. That's a good one, Jay. Never heard that one. That was the castle one, wasn't that last bit? Yep. Super Mario dying. Oh, yeah. I beat it. Nintendo? I beat it, too. Of course you did. Yeah. You ever beat Contra? No, I never played Contra. You played... Mario Brothers, until you won the game. Yeah. Who didn't, Mikey? Oh, I don't know. I didn't. I liked girls. Oh, did you? No, I actually didn't. I liked girls. Yeah, I liked hamburgers. No, I never played video games. Shut it. Didn't have them. Didn't have a game console growing up. Those were expensive. They were. I remember the day my dad got it. He had all five of us open it together. It was like, Merry Christmas. We all ripped into it. It was like, Merry Christmas!
Greatest. The greatest feeling in the world, hooking that thing up. I broke the Atari, and so it was like... You didn't have anything? No video game. Did you have friends that had them? No. We had them, but I just didn't play them. They were boring. Didn't you have friends? So much fun. So much fun. I like to play outside. I did have friends, but we did other stuff. We found this place that was... Out by a canal that had a bunch of pornographic magazines littering on the floor of it. Oh, my gosh. That was a cool hangout. Yeah. And we would do a couple of things. Either we would look at the dirty pictures or we would light them on fire. Oh, that sounds like fun. Just going around tagging bridges, too, real good. I mean, just awful. I mean, you know how old I was at that time? I was probably six. No way. No joke. Don't say that. That hurts my ears. I know. It's true. Six or seven explains a lot, doesn't it? It sure does. It hurts my ears. 570. 194.9 is our phone number. Okay, so you've heard it on our show before. Could be a crackhead. To me, it look like a leprechaun to me. I got to look up in the tree. Who else in the leprechaun say yeah? Yeah. It's the greatest. The greatest. I want to know where to go. I want to go. Get me to go. I want to go. I will go into the kitchen while my wife is cooking dinner. Oh, geez.
And she'll be stirring a pot, and I'll take a piece of French bread and tear it off, and I'll go, I want to know where to go there. And I'll dip it into the sauce, and I'll go, I want to go. Funny, because last night Jamie was going to make some cookies, and she said, where's all the cookie dough? And I said, I want to know where the dough's at. I want the dough. Give me the dough. 100% last night at my house. What does 100% mean? That it happened. It was brilliant. This one may take its place. You guys have been spending a little too much time together. We weren't together. You say the same things to your wives. We share the same brain. Don't worry about it. So this was a report out of Houston. A man saw Bigfoot. North Carolina, I think. North Carolina. No, it was Houston. Oh, was it Houston? Yeah, it was Houston. It was a Houston television station that we have the audio from. Well, I thought it was North Carolina. I think the story is from North Carolina. Is it? Cleveland County. Why don't you leave the news to the news, girl? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll make it right right now. I gotta look it up, though. It doesn't look like Houston in the clip. No, I think it's North Carolina, and they just ran it on every network. Every station? Yeah. Well, and you've probably seen, if you've watched the news at all today, you've probably seen it. But, uh...
A man saw Bigfoot, as we often do. Yes. Bigfoot walked onto his property. And that's who amongst us hasn't said that. But here's what happened. I tried to call him. Tim Peeler thought he was calling coyotes. Instead of them, him. He got something that frightened even the self-proclaimed mountain man. This thing was 10 foot tall. They have beautiful hair. Oh my gosh. Really? Really? You use like a hot oil conditioner? VO5? VO5? Is Bo Derek walking out of your woods? I love it. I love that. Instead of them, him. It is North Carolina, by the way. North Carolina? Gee, your hair smells terrific. Sergeant Markself is a Cleveland County deputy. Didn't see the creature this time. There was a...
Eight to ten foot hairy man looking person. But remembers the stories of a Sasquatch when he was a kid. Was killing some animals, breaking in chicken houses, killing chickens. It's the same M.O. that Tim says he saw for himself. The Sasquatch going. They have a sketch. Oh, it's an amateur sketch. It's an amateur. It's the greatest thing ever. I thought it was him. I thought it was the guy talking. Can I tell you that when I got this thing last night, one of our M.O.s sent it to me, I was like. It was like I struck oil. Oh, yeah. Bad pun, but, you know, whatever. Too soon. Yeah, too soon. Woodsy forwarded it to me. Immediately. And I burst out laughing. After his dogs. I come out here and rough talk him and run him off. Got him to leave, called 911. Then the creature came back. And I said, get away from here. Get. Get. Oh, my God. Are you kidding me? Get. Get. Get. Get. Get. Get. Get. He had to rough talk him. He had to rough talk him out of there. Get. Get. Get. The greatest. And he went right back. I kept passing him. Deputies filed a suspicious person. Well, he rough talked him. He rough talked him. Yeah. Rough talked him real good. The choice did the Sasquatch, yeah.
He got rough talked. He's out of here. You gotta leave. You gotta go down that path right over there. I gotta get. You put that hair in a ponytail and get the hell out of here. Get. Oh, a little French braid gun. Yeah, I don't care how pretty your hair is. You take that gorgeous hair and you beat it. And get. This is so sickening to think about. Still recalling the details. He looked like he had six. I'm sorry? He looked like he had six. Six fingers on each hand. But even though sworn to serve and protect. This is just totally blowing my mind that they've been brought back up. Do you know how much it takes to blow his mind? This is a man that rough talked to Sasquatch. No, that's the cop. That's the cop. That's the cop. Couldn't tell. Left manning up, at least for the cameras. Doesn't bother me now. I don't think there's anything to it. It's the cop. It's gold. Yeah. But I'm like, really? You thought he had beautiful hair? Yeah. Like, that's the part that gets me. Is that Pantene profile? He took the time. He took the time to count his fingers. I mean. The whole thing is just amazing. Oh, man. It's amazing. I love it. It's amazing. Yeah. Yeah. He holds. You got to see this dude first of all. Oh, yeah. Holy. Can we get the video? Let's get the video on MikeyShow.com. It's hilarious. It's hilarious, dude. See what I can do. He's holding this stick.
And he goes, well, I rough-talked him, and then I chased him out of here, and I had to say, get! Get! And he jabs the stick forward. Jamie, we were watching, and she's like, oh, my gosh, gold. You struck gold. Get! Put it on your blog. Is it on there? First of all. Yeah, stick it on the blog. Why is dude calling coyotes? Yeah, calling coyotes. I tried to call him. Tim Peeler thought he was calling coyotes. Why, Tim? What are you calling coyotes? I don't know. Maybe he just wanted some company. Want some company. Want a feast? Yeah. Want a feast on some coyotes? Can you eat coyotes? I'm sure you can. I mean, I guess. No, I don't know. Can you? That was like a bad plan. What do you want him for? Maybe he's going to feed him. Maybe he needs a jacket. Oh, wow. Instead of them, him. He got something that frightened even the self-proclaimed mountain man. This thing was 10 foot tall. He had beautiful hair. How much meth does that guy have? He had beautiful hair. Howard Stern. How did he have beautiful hair? Howard Stern, he's 10 feet tall with beautiful hair. How did he have beautiful hair?
On Howard Stern's show right now, he's like, dude, this guy was telling me to get the other guy. I was walking around the woods. Weird. It's the craziest thing ever. I love it so much. I love it so much. When you watch the video, there's like a path. So the thing... The amateur sketch is amazing. Amateur sketch looks like Chewbacca. I want to see it. Put it on your blog during commercials. Put it on the Mike Chio Facebook page. There we go. Put it on the Facebook page. Oh, I want to see the sketch. It's really good. Oh, man. Can we rewind and do that whole segment again? No. Because that was the greatest. We'll do it. We'll save it. We'll do it in a bit. Get. Now we have a get drop. Yeah. Get. Yeah. So I was driving home yesterday from the gym and saw a kid walking down the street, huge thoroughfare, Rancho Santa Fe Road. Can you explain what a thoroughfare is? Thoroughfare is a... For those of us that aren't British. It's a thoroughfare. It's a very high-trafficked intersection, street. Let's call it a busy intersection. It's like a boulevard almost. Yeah.
You know what we should do? What? We should talk about what kind of street it was. For 15 minutes? For 15 minutes. It was a busy street. It was more of a... Really, wasn't it more of a cobblestone? More of a cobblestone. I'd call it a route, baby. It was a passageway. It was a passageway. Was there an over-covered bridge? This kid's walking down the street and his pants were so low on him. that his tighty-whities were his full butt cheek. Full butt cheeks of tighty-whity. Seen it. You've seen that? Of course, yes. Okay, because I've seen him low, but it was all of his butt cheeks. I've seen it at the beach sagging a bathing suit that low. Because this kid's walking and the belt is cinched. Oh, wow. And I thought... I wonder if he could get cited for public indecency. Because if you walk down the street in your underwear, can't you get in trouble? If you're a guy and you walk down, dude, your piece is showing. In your underwear. In your underwear, but you could still, like, it's, I mean, if I were to imitate it, it was, I went, no way. I said in my car, I go, no way. You saw crack. No, he was wearing tighty-whities. You could see everything. But it wasn't like he had.
Half of his tight, you know, that you saw half his tighty-whities. You saw all his tighty-whities. All of his bottom. The whole bit. And the belt cinched. Not the front, though. Usually they have it pulled up in the front and it's below the butt. Why? I don't know. I thought, how do you not feel completely self-conscious with that much of your butt out? And uncomfortable trying to walk to keep those pants up so they don't fall when they're hanging that low. Just wear pants. And you don't get in trouble? The cops are like, you can do that. Like, I thought you, what is public indecency then? If his actual cheeks were showing? Imagine his mom when she sees him walk out every day. If that was my kid. She's like, oh, why? Pull your pants. Pull your pants up. Yeah. Shave that mop on your head or I'll cut it for you. The mop I'm fine with. You could wear the mop. Just don't go outside with your butt. That's embarrassing. Oh my gosh. Take your tongue ring out. Get out of here. Oh, my goodness. Wow. Why don't you pick up some applications today? Yeah, seriously. Blockbuster, maybe. Starbucks. Come on. Get a couple applications today, will you? Scumbags. You can keep your hair. I don't care about the hair. You want to look like Edward Furlong from Terminator 2? That's fine. What's the matter with my hair? It looks like Edward Furlong from Terminator 2. You can't just go around saying it looks like that. It does.
Don't wear it like that. It's awful. You look like you should be on the back of a motorcycle with a redhead from Terminator 2 riding a motorcycle with a mullet. Pull your pants up. And Sienna, her dog almost ate her engagement ring yesterday. What? Yeah. What happened? Well, when I get out of the shower, I put... cocoa butter on to preserve my pregnant skin. And when I do that, I take my rings off. And so I put them on my bedside table, went in the bathroom, lotioning up, come back. My rings aren't there anymore. And I'm so careful with them. So, so careful. So I noticed immediately they're not there. I put them there. They're not there. I look at my bed and I see my wedding band, which is like a thin band on my bed. But I don't see the engagement ring, which is where the rock is. And I'm like, oh, you know, like freaking out to my dog's mouth. No way. It's in my dog's mouth. My dog had jumped on the bed and she doesn't do things like this. Like she's a pretty good dog. And she went on my bedside table from the bed, reached over and grabbed him because I guess she'd never seen him before. Like shiny. Because they're never there. Yeah. And she's like, what are those?
So there was a trace, and I found it and pulled it out of her mouth. Before she swallowed it. I don't know. Would she have swallowed a whole ring? Oh, yeah. You'd have to wait for the doo-doo. Oh, my. You guys. I would have. She's like zippers walking around the house going, Mom, I want my own engagement ring. This is BS. Oh, that was so terrifying. I'm the only dog in La Jolla without a freaking diamond. She is. She is. Ella B. L.O.B. went to a little small market. Is that what the deal was? Yeah. Little market? Mm-hmm. Weird, weird, weird. Like a little, because you like to support them all? Just a little health food market. Have to restock? Well, I was going to just go in and get one thing. Why don't you just buy feed and, you know... Can't you get hay on the side of the road? Can't you just get bushels of it and that way you don't have to go back all the time? I was just going to get one thing. I was just going to get a kombucha. Mm-hmm. And I was like, I had... My cash, I took it all out of my purse and I thought I probably shouldn't walk in with this much cash. I should probably just get, you know, bring a five and just get the kombucha. But I didn't. So while I was in there, like what usually happens, I start to buy things and all adds up. I know I've got like 50 bucks. I'm like, oh, I guess I'll just get like 50 bucks worth of groceries while I'm here. Well, I go and I get 50 bucks worth of groceries. Fruits, nuts. Put everything on the conveyor belt and then it's like we're.
You know, the lady's, like, talking to me. She starts to ring stuff up. I'm, like, doing the whole thing that girls do. I'm getting my keys ready before I'm even out the door. And then I start to get my cash. And I'm like, uh-oh. Uh-oh. You lost it. Lost it. Lost the cash. So there's a line behind me. Oh, my heart would be pounding. Yeah, and I'm, like, checking every crevice. I'm checking the basket. I'm, like, looking at her. And I'm like, uh, I don't even have anything else with me. I just brought the cash. So I'm like. Uh, I just, uh, I just, I lost my cash. It's somewhere. Uh, hold on. Cause I knew like time was of the essence. Money was just on the floor somewhere in the store. Be irritated if I was behind you. Yeah, I know. Everyone was like seven people behind me. Everyone was. Yeah. So I just left the stuff in the conveyor belt and I was like, I'm going to do a lap of the store. So I did a lap of the store. Nowhere. So I'm trying to be thorough, but quick as well. Nowhere. Not there. So I get, by the time I get back, they were like slowly putting everything from like one conveyor belt onto the next. Oh, that's a beating. Oh, boy. Yep. You couldn't get yourself. No, I couldn't get it. I had to run out to my car then and get my debit card. And I ended up getting it. But yeah, they had to call. They were like, Ricky Delaney, one, please, customer service. And like, they had to ring me up. I've been that guy. It's horrible.
I would have run out of the store. I would have said, I'm going to go make a lap, and I would have just sprinted to my car. I had to get my stuff. And you know she wants to go back to that little market. Never. Yesterday wasn't good for her either because she was putting the jeans that she wore that day into the laundry, and she saw that she had sat on a chocolate chip from trail mix in her car, so it looked like she had poo-poo on her bottom. It's great. I was like, oh, those are the... No, never. ever going back to that town again. They're like, oh, she's the girl that can't control herself. The poo-stained girl that was looking for money. Yeah. Allegedly. Just give her a 20 and hopefully she won't go. Get her out of here. It's horrible. You were trying to decide whether it was Senator John McCain or General Petraeus who fainted yesterday on the mic. Who do you think it would be? I'll play the audio of them fainting next.

And you say, hey, it looks like you need a personal shopper. Yeah. How big are you?
Me? Yeah. I'm 3'9". So you have experience with Justin Bieber's size. Yeah, 3'9". Yeah. Still growing, too. If you're 3'9", can I have any of your hand-me-downs? Yeah, man. I'm wearing a robe right now. I'm actually walking down Rodeo Drive smoking a spliff in my robe right now. Oh, wow. Well, Mikey, maybe you could use a personal shopper. Yeah, why not? Well, you know... Did he miss that, by the way? Did he miss that? That's the best hook shot I've ever had. Can't get that trash can. Now, if you had to think about this, who do you think would be the one... passing out yesterday, fainting? Would it be Senator John McCain or General Petraeus? Between the two of them. McCain. Of course, McCain's like 147 years old. Yeah. So wouldn't it just go stand a reason that it would be him? You would think. Larry King called John McCain and said, dude, you're freaking old. Yeah, you're really old. This was yesterday at a Senate hearing. The voice you hear first, Senator McCain. Whether we're actually going to stay or not. and whether we're going to do what's necessary to succeed rather than set an arbitrary timeline. And the best way to... Petraeus just passed out. Wow. Oh, dear. Oh, wow. I'm going to get him some water. Can I just point something out? We're going to recess now for a few moments. Wasn't that him that goes, oh, my God. He said we're going to recess. Do a call of the chair. General, or excuse me.
Yeah, General Petraeus passes out. John McCain's in the middle of giving a speech. It's the crazy. You've got to watch the video. I want to see it. Oh, it's crazy. It's crazy. Whenever you hear somebody doing the pass out thing, it creeps you out. Oh, yes. Seeing it is worse. People passing out is weird to me. It freaks me out. You always think, like, why? But why? I'm in a wedding this weekend, and I'm so paranoid of passing out in the... Have you ever passed out before? No, but I've gotten lightheaded at a wedding before, up as a groomsman. You gotta do it this weekend. Yeah, I'm doing it this weekend. He's singing. Yeah, and I'm singing. You're gonna be... You're gonna be great. Yeah, you're gonna do fine. You get lightheaded at weddings? No, dude, like, you're standing up there, you're in a monkey suit, and you've got the... what the thing's called, the bow tie on, and you're hot, and more than likely, you're probably a little hungover from the night before, hanging out with your boys who you've never seen, and you're in a hot church. It's 105 degrees in Wichita right now. Kid's probably going to pass out at this wedding. You'll be good. And it's probably all muggy. Oh, yeah. It's probably awful. Dude, remember Eddie's wedding? I almost passed out at that wedding, dude. Oh, dude, it was in El Cajon. It was July 7th.
Oh, outside. It was inside, but it was literally 107 degrees in the church, and we're all in suits. Longest wedding ever. Were you there? Yes. I was there with Bauman. I know. Boy. I saw you guys have your romance going on. Small world. It gets hot. Oh, it was hot. It gets hot in East County. Yeah, it does. Mikey looked like a crystal ball. His head was all glowy, sweaty. I know. I know. I did. Top of my head looked like a Krispy Kreme donut. It really did. 570. 1-94-9 is our number. I'm so nervous about it. You're going to do great. He'll be fine. Or you can text us, 949Mikey at gmail.com. Don't I have music for Donald Duck, Hot or Not? I thought I had music. You sure do. What is it? It's getting hot in here. It's in green on page two. Oh, yeah. All right, Donald Duck, Hot or Not. Here's how it works. We give Donald Duck. Various different celebrities, and Donald Duck tells us, hot or not? Katy Perry. Hot. Hot. What is it about her? What do you like? Let's see eyes. Eyes or ass? Eyes. Eyes. Eyes, okay. She's got a pretty good rack, too, Katy Perry. This one's tougher. Hillary Swank, Donald. Not. Not. Out on Hillary Swank? Yeah. Is it Million Dollar Baby? Yeah. Million Dollar Baby.
One dollar baby. More like one dollar baby. Avril Lavigne. Cute. So would you say hot? Remember current day. You ready? Jessica Simpson. Not hot. Kate Hudson. Hot. Even now. I think Donald Duck likes the blondes. I think so, too. Donald Duck seems to lean that way. You can tell. He's getting all freaked out. He's getting freaked out now. You go to the clubs, Donald? I do sometimes, but only when I...
I have to dance. Sometimes I just feel like I have to dance. You get that way? Where you just feel like you have to? She shakes her feathers. You shake your feathers? Tail feathers. You know, Donald, you know where you can really get your groove on? The fireman's chili cook-off. That's what I'm talking about. Donald's a boy. I'm just saying, you go there and there's a lot of hot girls there. You see what I'm saying? Okay. I have an interesting email for you. And you can respond at 570-1949 or you can text us. If you don't turn Nelly off, I'm going to throw a pen at you immediately. My brain is bleeding. I was going to try to let it play out to the end because I was enjoying it. Oh, really? Check this out. This email says, when I'm over at my best buddy's house, his girl walks around with next to nothing on. Score. Yeah, score. Winner. So awkward, though. She has a killer body, and it is impossible to not gawk. Score again. Win-win. My buddy is oblivious. One time she walked into the room, and I let a wow slip.
She smiled. He said nothing. Oh, my gosh. Let me just say that I have no interest in her. Don't. Sure you don't. Yeah. I would never mess up a friendship with my bro. Wouldn't you? M1 standing at attention. Now, this is probably something that a lot of guys can relate to. If you've ever been over at your buddy's house and maybe your buddy's girlfriend walks out. And she just doesn't have that much on or whatever. You buddies with a lot of adult film directors? No. A lot of girls will, if they're in their house, they'll cruise around without a bra on and stuff. Yeah, I know. In front of your SIG others? Yeah. Friends? Yeah. Wait. In what? Wait, wait, wait. If it's like bedtime. What do you mean? You're all getting in bed together? What are you talking about? What are we talking about? Is this a key party at L.O.B.? Yeah. I don't know. If you have house guests or whatever, I'm not going to throw a robe on or something. Wait a minute. What? Why wouldn't you? I don't have one. Well, A, we're getting you a robe for your birthday, but B...
Is that what robes are for? I never understood the robe bit. Yes, you cover up. And I think Mikey's B is, can we all come over this weekend? Well, that, and I'm going to look up the definition of robe, because up until this moment, L.O.B. is like, what do you use those things for? I always see, like, in the movies, people are like, oh, there's a noise downstairs. And they put their robe over the shower. That's the deal. Hey, for me? What? For me, a robe is so the nanny doesn't see me naked. That's what a robe is for. I wear a robe every day. Really? I have a lot of them. Is your robe covered in makeup? No. No? Covered in pearls and diamonds? Tell me how to use a robe and I will. May I? L-O-B. May I? May I? No, I want to question the whole... That she doesn't know? Not the robe. I didn't get the terrycloth robes like when you come out of the shower. I'm like, oh, that's nice. What I want to know is your SIG other has buddies over. Yeah. And you will walk in front of said buddies wearing no bra. Yeah. And what? I told you I'm smuggling Tic Tacs. It doesn't matter. Kind of. It does. It kind of matters. What are you wearing up top?
Just like one of those little bed camisole thingies. What is a camisole? And shorts. It's like a little thin undershirt tank top. What? You could say it's the equivalent of thinness as a wife beater. What color? Yeah. Whatever. White? Would you ever wear white? I'd probably be a little bit hesitant in front of guests in the white. Maroon like Mikey's man panty? Yeah. Is it like silky? No. I wouldn't wear like the silky drawers, but like whatever I'm going to wear to bed. And I'm going to brush my teeth in. And I'm going to say, hey, do you guys have enough pillows out here? And the whole bit. Yeah. He's like, no, no, no. Maybe you knit some in front of us. We're all adults. Are we? I was in a bathroom stall making fart noises to Woods yesterday. Are we adults? But I mean, like, okay, they're coming to visit me in San Diego. We went to the beach earlier that day. We're going the next day. I'm like, if you've seen me in a bathing suit, you can see me in my pajamas. If you've seen me in a bathing suit, it's okay to see my breasts and describe them to a police sketch artist. And it's like, if you see me in a bathing suit, so it's cool if I walk around in lingerie. There's something different. I don't know why. What's up on the bottom? About brown underwear. What's up?
wear on the bottom? Shorts. By shorts, do you mean panties? No. No. Oh, that would be ridiculous. My skin's crawling right now, by the way. Dude, because she would wear that in front. What if you're her SIG other's friend? You're over there. Score. Yeah, but isn't that... Don't you want your girl to cover up? I want to know what this guy's crying about. First of all, you never bring it to attention. You just let it flow. No. What could she possibly be wearing? Panties and bra. She could have been wearing what you just described. And you think that that is too much? It makes you uncomfortable because that's your friend's girl. You don't want to think of your friend's girl that way. Okay, so if I go to the beach with all of them and they're like, oh my gosh, I can't look. It's different. It's different. It's different. It's different. It's different. If I walked out. of the bedroom and I was wearing like little shorts and a wife beater with no bra. Todd would, Todd would. Oh my God. You're throwing knee shooters at him, dude. But still, I mean, this girl could be too. If you were my girlfriend and you did that, I'd throw a blanket over you. Todd would like tackle me to the ground and be like, put a blanket over you. Put you over my shoulder. Hit her on the head. Yeah. See, but it's different.
Yeah. It's not. I don't think so. It is. The size of the breasts don't matter. I don't think if you can see some nip, you're seeing too much. Yeah, especially if it's cold at night. Yeah. Sorry, she's right. She's right. You don't want to think of your, because it's sexy. And you don't want your buddy being all sexed up over you. Woodsy, okay, sure. You're saying, what's this guy complaining about? What if it was your lady? No, I'd hit her over the head with a hammer and drag her back to the bedroom. Exactly. Are you not going to go to any sort of beach or pool function with a girl? I can't articulate it. Why is that different? You're not at a pool. I know why it's different. I know why it's different. I know why it's different. Because the material on a bathing suit does a pretty good job. Yeah. Really? It does. 100%. Doesn't it? Of what? Concealing. No. No? I think his big worry is... nipple region. You can see color. You don't want to ever see color. Color is different. You don't want color. What about protrusion? You don't ever want to see protrusion. I can't help it. I don't want Leo DiCaprio doing a painting of my girl in Titanic. Or just imagining them when they leave. You don't want some guy imagining your girlfriend wearing that once he's home.
At his houses. Don't chill. Don't chill. I will say that I'm a huge fan of protrusion. The padded bras that girls wear, I'm just completely out on it. You're not a huge fan of protrusion from your wife and your buddies. Or your daughter, Jay. I full on told my wife, I said, you know, you can wear a thinner bra. I can't believe I'm saying this. She's going to kill me. You can wear a thinner bra? Yeah, I just think that all the padded bras, the push-up bras. I agree. They're just, they're so fake. And you see the little ledge right along the top of the clothes. Like, really, girls? Like, I haven't figured that out now that you're wearing this thick. I'll tell you. It looks like two muffin tops. Jay, it's harder to get a non-padded bra than to get, like, all of them. What happened to the days where they were silky and lacy? I know. I agree. You know, you take it off now and it's like. Yeah. It weighs three pounds. Yeah. It's like. I agree with everything that you're saying. But even if you were to wear the ones that aren't padded.
At least your buddy isn't like, hey, I know exactly what's going down. Yeah, you don't, I don't know. What about if you guys go out to dinner and your wife's throwing a little cleave? Does that bother you? No. Why is that different? When you're at home, you're in like a hookup environment. At the beach, there's other people wearing the same stuff all around you. So it's not all the focus on that girl. What about a hot tub on my patio? What about a hot tub? Why different? A lot of hooking up goes on in hot tubs. Yeah, a lot. House parties. How much cleave? Well, when my wife goes out, I mean, she'll throw the cleave at you real good. Sometimes you can't help the cleave, you know? Sometimes you can't hop the headlights on as well. Sometimes you can't. I have headlights at all times. Me too. Sienna could never leave the house if she couldn't throw any cleavage. I know. Mikey would have her wrapped in old swaddling clothes. I would? Swaddling. Why? Because you wouldn't want anybody to see her. Look at her. I'm not saying that. Hey, listen. I'm not becoming an Amish farmer. I'm going to... You know what? I'm just going to go get a burka.
Really? I'm going to get like a potato sack. No, we're a potato sack. Really? I'm really trying to think of the difference between the cleave and then the skimpiness. We're just trying to act all liberal right now. I know. If his wife walked out. My wife will throw the cleave at you. Yeah, I know. But you know what she won't do? She won't walk out with like a tank top and no bra while your friends are around. And if she did. You'd flip out. It's one thing. If the cleave is out, the girl's just trying to look good and feel pretty. And the guy's like, oh, you look hot. I'm stoked to be with you. If you're at home and she's doing that in front of your friends, it's like... My wife... Don't show off. I think Rebecca shows cleave when we go out to dinner. But it isn't, you know... Not porno cleave. I'll tell you what, though. If I was to try to wear the type of bras that Jay's trying to bring back... You guys would be uncomfortable all the time if that's the case. Yes, you would be. Nipping real good? Yeah. No, but don't they cover? Not the bras that Jay's talking about. They're very thin. My wife wants me to make sure that I tell everybody she wears them for support. Yeah. Did she just text you? She texted me and she said, yeah, Jay, why don't you tell them why I wear these bras? They're for support. I have to wear them, too. The one I'm wearing right now is...
No, but those ones that Kim talked about the support, they're a million times more comfortable, too. Stop her back a little. Bottom line is that guy needs to quit crying and not worry about it. Really? Settle in and enjoy the ride, pal. And the girl can wear whatever she wants at home. People are out of your minds. Please, I love that. So I've heard some pretty crazy things suggested about how to secure the Mexican porter. I've heard it. But what I'm going to play for you next is easily the craziest. There's a Republican nominee for congressional seat in Arizona. He suggested something that would either kill them or permanently injure them. Amazing. And I have the audio of him, and he's real serious. And I'll play it for you next.

KBCT San Diego, the Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of The Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. Oh, yeah. Everything gonna be all right this morning. Oh, yeah. Young boy at the age of five. 570-1949 is our number. 949mikey at gmail.com is our text if you want to get a hold of us by text. I have heard some really crazy stuff. When it comes to immigration, how do we stop the immigration? I've heard all kinds of laws that should be passed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. When you hear this, though, it will shock you. Tim Collins is this dude's name. Mullins. Oh, Mullins. Tom Mullins. He's a GOP House candidate, and he gave his idea. In regards to Washington, who should be doing this in the first place.
If you're elected to Congress, you'll be in a position to make a decision. What do you think they need to do? I think, well, they need to enforce the law. I actually have a couple of ideas, and I received these ideas. We talk about a border fence, and really what we get down to is it's very difficult to have a fence and have that work. But we have some low-cost, low-tech solutions, and I know it sounds crazy, but we used to have landmines. I know it sounds like a crazy thing, but if we wanted to stop, if we have an attack on the United States, a nuclear attack, and we find that they carried the nuclear weapon and the people that harmed us came across the border, and we say we have got to secure the border, we could put landmines along the border. I know it sounds crazy. We could put up signs in 23 different languages if necessary, and we could put up some barbed wire and say, We are securing the border. If you want to cross the border, you cross legally. You cross through the areas where we have our border patrol agents, where we have the checkpoints, and so you follow the law. It doesn't take high-tech technology. It doesn't take a $3 or $4 billion fence. And the problem with the fence is they make the fence so low so the animals can jump across the fence.
And so if they, you know, if they build the fence so low that the animals can jump across, then people can come across as well. Landmines. Landmines. Maybe we just snipe them. Yeah. I mean, hey, listen. His deal was we have some low cost. Low cost. Low tech solutions. Landmines. Shocking. You know, we blow them up. Yeah. I mean, it's one of the kookier things I've ever heard. Why don't we dig a moat? Yeah. Fill it with acid. Yeah, fill it with acid. And alligators. Yeah, and alligators. Oh, my gosh. Let's dig them out. Yeah, why not? It's one of the craziest things I've ever heard. Now, there may be people that are listening that are like, I don't know, not such a bad idea to me. 570-1949. Love to hear you. Yeah, love to hear from you. He's apologized. Oh, he has? Yeah, he says that he was repeating something he had heard on the campaign trail. My buddy told me. He heard on the campaign trail. Yeah.
A friend of mine said it. Because he said this in a radio interview last month. Listen, a friend of mine had a couple Lone Brows. They don't even make Lone Brow anymore. And a friend of mine had some. That was part of the problem. And he got drunk on old Lone Brows. Made a wacky comment. Yeah. And I just repeated it. That's all. He won the New Mexico Republican primary. Good. Perfect. Yeah. Super. That's one of the nuttier things I've ever heard. I mean, there's probably something a little less lethal we could try. 570-1949. Phone lines blowing up. Let's hear it. M1 Christopher is on the line, and he is calling from where, Christopher? Del Mar. What do you think? So the argument is you have these landmines, and it's to protect from bringing nuclear weapons, right? Uh-huh. What if there's a little chain reaction there? Well, no, no, no. What he was his point with the nuclear weapon was that we would be so upset if a nuclear weapon was brought across the border without landmines. Right. In other words, just the way it is right now. Let's say that somebody was able to get across and detonate a nuclear bomb and they were and they brought it through Mexico.
that his point is that we would all be up in arms going, how did we allow this to happen? Why didn't we put landmines in to blow people up way before that happened? But I see what you're saying. Let's say we instituted his rationale and we went, you're right. We need to start blowing people up so that we can keep the nuclear bombs out. That way when the guy's bringing the nuclear bomb across the border and he steps on the landmine, we'll kill him. We'll also detonate the nuclear bomb. Exactly. Yeah. Listen, you make a great point. Thank you. Mike from San Marcos. Mike, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. Hey, I was just saying that you guys were kind of missing the point. I didn't catch that last caller, but it sounds like he had it going right. If we were attacked with a nuclear bomb, you need to secure the borders. And that's the problem right now is we have people out there that want to kill us. And that's what these people in Congress and our president don't understand, is we are fighting a war on terror. And these terrorists will stop at nothing to destroy our way of life and our happiness. Thank you. Out. Mike, why did you hang up? Why were you not willing to talk that one out, Mike, from San Marcos? He thought this was the Jim Rome show. Yeah. Are these terrorists that are threatening our way of life, are they Mexican immigrants? I don't think they are. Well, if they can get easily into Mexico, then they can just walk across our unsecured borders. Yeah. Their deal is.
And, you know, his deal that just called Mike from San Marcos that was willing to discuss it. Or not. His deal is that, let's say, a Muslim terrorist gets his way into Mexico and because our borders are not secure, he's able to get into the United States from Mexico. That's his point. But that's a moronic rationale, the landmines. And that guy just said it. The reason it's moronic is somebody got a nuclear bomb and they hit a landmine. What do you think is going to happen to the nuclear bomb, dum-dum? I guess the hope is that it would deter them. But you're also dealing with, when you're talking terrorists, you're dealing with a pattern of, like, suicide missions. Like, they're not necessarily worrying about their life. They're going to try to cross the border. So they're going to come up there. They're all going to be pushing this nuclear weapon. Right. They're going to get to the fence and they're going to go, oh, crap. Great. Let's get out of here. Back it up. Back it up. Let's get out of here. Hang on. I just read the signs. I just saw the sign. I didn't even know. They had landmines. They put landmines. Guys, let's just take it to the... We'll take it down. We'll get a couple tequilas. We'll make it right. You know what we do, guys? Let's go back. Let's rent a hotel room. And we'll party. One of you guys go to Office Depot and get a chalkboard. And we'll just drop something new. We'll come up with like a tap kill plan or something. Yeah. They have a pop of some beer over here somewhere. That's just... It's...
barbaric, and like you said, it's moronic, I think. I don't think a landmine would set off a nuclear bomb. Maybe. M1, Sean. I don't know the mechanics of it. From Kensington? Yeah, you know, I know it's like funny and you guys are joking, yeah, let's go do some tequila shots down at the border, but you know, the irony of this, you guys, is that you're joking about this, but mark my words. Mark my words. I'm saying it right now on your show. The day that a... If you can get cocaine across the border, the day that someone, they find out that plutonium was brought across and detonated in San Diego and millions of people die, I promise you no one's argument will be moved. No one will say anything about it. Sean, I guarantee you, mark my words, that I would never be for putting landmines across the border to stop what your... suggesting could happen. And by the way, it could. And you're absolutely right, dude. You're saying that now? I want to see, if you're a man of your word, when it happens, I'm going to call your show back one day. Yeah. I want you to say, yeah, Sean, you know what? I still, you know, three of my family members died. And, you know, people think, why are they so up in arms? And why is this brought up? It's, you know, it's just a badge to be used to hide, you know, illegal immigration. You think the American government is that stupid?
Hop off. There's several different, you know, information sites you can go to. Not me, Sean. Hey, Sean, not dude. I got to tell you, bro. Not me. I am a guy that is real big on stopping illegal immigration. I am. I mean, honestly, I think that landmines are a bad idea. And I even think, because Sienna just said, hang on, Sienna just said. He thinks it's a bad idea, too. That's why he's apologized for it. Why don't you spend the next 20 minutes or 30 minutes, you guys, talking? If you're really concerned with it, talk about what they can do. What have they done, Mike, at this point that's worked so effectively? Hey, bro, that's why when the thing happened in Arizona where they were passing these laws and doing all the stuff in Arizona, I was the one saying, I don't know, guys, before we start criticizing Arizona for what they're doing. Why don't we take a second and actually think about the spirit of the law? Maybe it wasn't about hatred. Maybe it wasn't about trying to target Mexicans. Maybe it was actually about... Hey, bro, bro, bro, Sean, I let you finish, dude. You just got to let me finish. I let you finish and then you let me finish. Right, but the point is... No, no, no. I'll try it one more time. I let you finish and then you let me finish. Okay, I'll do it anyway and then he can go.
I am not saying by any means that I think that illegal immigration isn't an issue. It is. I don't want to get. It's a big issue. I don't want an attack on a United States soil because our borders aren't secure. I think everybody feels that way. Nobody among us doesn't. The issue, though, is how do we go about it? That's got to be what the issue is. Well, and he's right. We've got top ops to figure that out. I don't think it's up to... Right, but you guys can't sit here and tell me that you know an idea that's better. And every idea at this point has failed. Okay, then let me ask. Wait, hold on, Mike, and I'll let you finish. Yeah, you're right, you're right. I'll let you finish up, okay? As soon as you can go, you know what, dude? Check it out. You know, the landmines is a bad idea, but you know what? Hey, here is a better idea that we haven't tried. And you know what, Sean, M1, Sean? I want to try this first, and it's going to work. Instead of going, no, landmines. I mean, really think about it, Mike. What, fences, patrolling, national guards? You've got people protesting in Arizona as soon as they try to pass any type of law for that. What else would you say, Mike?
What else should we do? And you know what's funny? You can say what you want to say, but I promise you people are in a typical American fashion. Do not do anything until it's too late. Until something happens like the BP oil spill. Until 9-11. And then once that happens, that argument might go, no, we can't do that. You know, putting landmines. It's not going to sound so crazy. That's all I'm saying. Okay. So, Sean, what if I gave you a wacky idea like Wood said? A moat filled with acid. Would you say, well, we got to consider it. I mean, we don't have any other ideas, so let's consider a moat filled with acid. Right, but can I ask you something? When has logistically a moat been filled with acid actually worked or secured a border? But you know what? You can go to talk to any top operative, Israeli operatives, and see that landmines were effective keeping people out of Palestine and into Israel. Yes, that's a big, another completely different argument and conversation that we could have. But the bottom line is that, you know, let's have a moat full of pixie dust. Talk about real things. The reason people talk about landmines is that the fact that it's kept people out. And, you know, and the people, yeah, we're joking. They're just going to go up to the border and detonate and go back to Tijuana. No, they wouldn't do that. What they would do is if you can go downtown San Diego and score cocaine.
Somebody could walk right down with a backpack full of petroleum that came into the bottom and say... No doubt. There's no doubt. There's no doubt. And what's going to happen is that people are going to go, oh, my God, remember when we talked about that? No, I'm not. Sean, if they detonate a bomb, I'm not going to say, man, we should have thrown those landmines out there. Sean, is our unemployment higher than it's ever been? Yes. Ever? Yes. Okay. How about more people? How about more troops? How about more people helping to guard those borders? By the way, to answer your question, in our history's time, there are more, absolutely more, National Guard and military. Right, but not enough. Private citizens have a guarantee to do it for free. But not enough. But not enough. And my other point is this. They get criticized for being racist. for being Minutemen. You haven't heard about that? Oh, yeah, of course. Because there's people that would do it for free. But let me ask you this. Here's the truth that nobody wants to say. Here's the truth. There are people... Sean, Sean, Sean, Sean, Sean, listen. Sean, let me ask you this, man. If people want to do something to our country, I hate to say it, they're going to get it done.
I mean, you know what Hiroshima was? Those guys didn't care. They flew those planes into our, or not Hiroshima, Pearl Harbor. They flew the planes into the ships. They're going to make it happen if they want to make it happen. And no amount of landmines is going to stop them from doing whatever they want, unfortunately. Yeah, and I think that the deal with the landmine idea is that, like L.O.B. said, it's barbaric. And you're killing, like, what if a family is coming over here and it's a father, a wife, and two kids. They step on a landmine, they're dead. Yeah, and listen. Here's a scenario that I wanted to say. I definitely wanted it. Is landmines a bad idea? Yes, it probably is a bad idea. What are we arguing about? Because the point, what we're arguing about here, guys, is that here's the thing. You're criticizing. I feel like you guys are criticizing the fact that someone said landmines. And let's clear this up again. So let's use the same scenario as the family coming across. There are 20.
signs in 30 different languages saying, if you step your foot here, you are going to die if you go across this. The problem is people don't want that because people are desperate. They're going to come across and they're going to die. So are terrorists. So are terrorists. And here's the problem is that when we try to go through legal ways of getting this done with laws and passing it, you know, there's so many ties to Mexico, especially in Southern California. The Mexican minority is going to be the highest minority. in california it is already well that's your issue your issue is with the your issue is with is with the laws my issue is this is that that there is that there's anyone that says illegal immigration is not going to bankrupt the state you're wrong look if you look at the see the longer you go the more i start to realize what it's about right now i know what it's about it's not about it's not about really really Really, Sean? Sean, you going to be out there laying landmines down? Yeah. You know what? Hey, if it keeps my family safe, I'll be the first one. Fair enough. And wait till this blows up. I'll call you back and then we'll go like, oh yeah, remember that conversation? And you're like, oh yeah, but those poor people. Dude, you could have said that. You could have said that before 9-11. And I would have been, I still would not have said, yeah. We need landmines in New York City. Yeah, we should have put landmines in New York City. Around the World Trade Center. You know, and dude.
The longer I hear it, the more I go, I don't think that's what it's about. I don't think it's about protecting us from terrorists as much as it is illegal immigration of Mexicans. What about the Canada border? I mean, are you going to do the same thing there? Let's landmine them up. Exactly. Are we going to landmine up Canada's border? Even the dude that said it knows it was wacky. Love it. 5701-949 or 949mikey at gmail.com. I haven't even done the Eminem stuff. The Eminem stuff is crazy. I've heard a lot of Eminem interviews. Eminem talking about, did you know that he went to rehab? I didn't. I had no idea. I know he gained some weight. No, he's super skinny. Well, before that. Yeah, I know. Now he's like a twig. Here's what he said. You've been through a very dark time in your life. You took a five-year hiatus. How did you pull yourself out of that dark time?
Well, it was definitely, it was a process, man. It took me a while to actually admit, you know, that I had a problem. I mean, you know, in the hip-hop world that I live in, I think that it can be mistaken for weakness. And the last thing you want to do in hip-hop is admit that you're weak. But if I didn't admit that I was weak with this certain thing, I was going to die, you know, so. How close did you come? I certainly probably a couple hours away from death. Not to make this too tense of a moment, but yeah, I overdosed and almost died. Didn't know any of it. Nope. I wonder what he was doing. Probably everything. Yeah. A little taste of everything. Yeah. He said that he was doing Vicodin. Okay. And he was taking a lot of that. And.
I can't remember the other one. He has a new song. I heard it when I was driving in the other morning, and I really liked it. I mean, he's... No one can write like he can write. He's so talented. It was unreal. I used to have the biggest crush on Eminem. On Eminem? Oh, my gosh. Me too. Yes. Really? It was like something weird. Like, he was just... He was a bad boy. Yeah. He's a confident dude, man. Confidence will get you. Man, for like a while, I was like... I met him one time. This was before I ever got in radio. I was like 18. I was doing catering and I set up his backstage room when he came to town with 50 Cent when they were on tour together. And I met him and he was so nice and so cool. And I was like, I love you. That's awesome to hear. Yeah. That is good to hear. It's great to hear. 50 Cent was not as cool, but Eminem was really cool to me. Sign me up. Yeah. You guys want to play some Gender Pyramid? Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Let's do it. 570-1949. Today it's going to be me versus L.O.B. And we need people to call. 570-1949. We need a guy and we need a girl. And Jay is going to be running the controls. Right, Jay? Yeah, this should be scary. Jay's watching the time. We got 60 seconds. Okay. And Mikey's going to have six different topics that he's going to try to describe to a guy. And the guy needs to try to guess what Mikey's talking about.
Lauren's also going to have six male topics that she's going to try to describe to a girl. So try to guess where they're going. 60 seconds each. I think I'm going to do great. You are. I am going to do great. I think I know girl stuff. All right. I think you do too, buddy. Here we go. Let's introduce our players. What? I don't know if Nikki is a guy or a girl. We'll find out. Here we go. What are you doing? Down a little bit. Yeah. Thank you. Nikki. Oh, it's a girl. Hey, Nikki. Okay, the girls go first. Teaming up with L.O.B. Yo, Nikki. Actually, do you remember me? Oh, Virgin Nikki. Virgin Nikki. Oh, we're going to kill this. Do you know guy stuff, Nikki? Do I know guy stuff? Yeah. She does now.
After 22 years. She called in. She was a virgin when she was married, and she's been married for a few years now. Mikey gets on Woods Mike for just two seconds, and all of a sudden he starts busting that out. Yep. Here we go. You ready, Lauren? Yeah. Ready? Commence. Okay. Alternator. Dipstick. Tire. Things in a car. Yeah. Okay. Pinstripes. Double-breasted. A suit? Yes. Vegas, Stripper, Guys. Yes. Jupe, Curve, Calvin Klein. Yes. Oscar De La Hoya. Yes. Peyton Manning, Donovan McNabb, Phillip Rivers. What? Say it. Specifically, Joe Namath. Joe Montana. Call and plays. Audibles. The guy in high school you want to date. It's quarterback. Yes. Yeah? Is that it? Does that count? Is that it? It's like a half, I think. Yeah. It was NFL quarterbacks. It was NFL quarterbacks, but what do we think, guys? What's the ruling? I say she got it. I mean, she got it. She said quarterbacks. It's pretty good. Dude, that is.
Freaking six for six. That was unbelievable. She really does know, guys. There were five seconds left on the clock, so we need to mark that down. Fifty-five. Fifty-five seconds. Unbelievable job. Just in case Mike gets it. The two virgins over here knocked it out of the park. I know. Gosh. Here we go. Now we have our contestant, M1 Chris and Mikey. Chris, you there? Now he is. Now I am. Hi, Chris. Hey, what's up? How you doing? Pretty good. I think I'm going to get my tail handed to me. You got this, Chris. I don't know. Why is my heart in my throat right now? You can do it. I got to describe girl stuff to you. Oh, no. Okay. You ready? Here we go. As ready as I'll ever be. Coach. Louis Vuitton. Handbags. Yes. Chocolate. Oh, no. I can't say that. Team Edward. Team Jacob. Oh, no. Sparkly Skin. Vampire. Twilight. Yes. Good. Samantha. Miranda. Sex and the City. Yes. I'm married. Perms. Hairstyles.
No. Scissors. Salon haircut. Yes. Red book. Chris, you did really good. Wow. That's about as good as it gets for me. You did really good. How freaking hard is that? People, Maxim, Playboy. No, it was girls. Oh, it wasn't even girl magazine. It could have been any magazine. I could have said... Sports Illustrated? Yeah. Well, Jay had it down as magazines. It should be Girls Magazine. Yeah. Here we go. There we go, ladies. I thought we were doing another round. I'm like, oh. Man. Nice job, baby. Congratulations. I play a lot of catchphrase. I think so does Nikki. That brought some play. I'm so excited. Yes.
Good job. Nikki, you did great. You won some angel sunglasses. Sweet. I'm excited about those. Nice. Hang in the line. Okay. Yeah, Mike, maybe she comes into the studio. Really? She's a married woman. I've met her husband. And she's a lovely guy. And I think he's a Yankees fan, isn't he, M1 Nikki? Is he? I don't know. Nikki, is he a Yankees fan? Yes, we are Yankee fans. That a girl. There you go. Hang in the line. Best team in baseball right now. Very well done. She's having a baby. Man, that was difficult. Holy cow, dude. My heart races during that time. Really? See, I play a lot of catchphrase. I'm like, mm, do it in my sleep. Really? You're like the kid with his, never mind. I'm not going to talk about that. That was not easy for me. You did really good. Mike, it's hard. Oh, yeah. Because we don't know the words, and it's like, you just get them handed to you, and you're like, okay, I don't even know. I need to settle down. My heart's racing. It was good, though, right? It was amazing. It was hard to do. Mikey goes, chocolate chip. What was it? It was chocolate chip cookies. And he goes, chocolate. You can't say a word that's already in the title. Obese Mikey used to eat a lot of these. Marshall Nestle's. I would have said, you know what? It doesn't matter. Just get him to say chocolate chip cookies. If you said chips at all, you'd be wrong. Oh, yeah, that's true. I thought the deal would be.
flour, water, butter, eggs. It's however you interpret it. However you can get them to say it. If you saw me and my sister play, oh, it's intense. My whole family's like that. I bet it's vicious. Because we're on the same, no, we, if we're on the same team, we are like, our minds are the same. Mind melding. So, yeah, so I'll be like one word and she's like, I'll be like a type of fruit and she's like, rhubarb. Like, it's insane. You're like, give me a chance. No, they're a great team together. Oh, yeah. That's awesome. Killer. Girls took that one real good. Hey, who won last week? We tied. I remember. Oh, we tied. You and I both got three. Somebody, are we keeping track? No. Are you kidding? It's just a weekly kick. I want to. There should be some kind of bet. Yeah, there should be some kind of bet. Guys against girls at the end of the month. Oh, geez. Let's see. All right. So, Sienna has a couple of changes that you can make that'll have big health payoffs for you. Like what, Sienna? Like flossing your teeth. Oh, yeah. Do you know how many, like, every day you're supposed to floss your teeth? Oh, yeah, a couple times a day. I didn't know that. I don't know. I heard, like, obviously after lunch and after dinner, any time you eat. Well, you're supposed to brush after you eat, but you're supposed to floss at least once a day. Do you brush after every meal, Woods? No.
I brush in the morning and at night. Me too. Sometimes at night. Sometimes midday. Sometimes you're tired. In the morning. Sometimes I forget at night. Do you only brush once a day, too? Yes. Thank God. Okay. I brush if I come home and my breath is stank. I'm like, if I know there's garlic in the mix. I just chew a little gum. Okay, so here's what we're going to do. I know that you want to hear the 74-year-old woman playing the keyboard and getting booed off the stage. So I'll do it. that tonight's gonna be a good night that tonight's gonna be a good night that tonight's gonna be a good good night i think that people are gonna like this

They say, you know, keep going. Let's hear what you got. You guys in? Oh, yeah. Holy crap. It's horrific. It's like Aaron Neville. Yeah. It's just, it bothers me because I know that they put her on there strictly for that. Or that she volunteered to do that bit up there. They didn't go to the home and grab her and say, I know. No, no, no. I'm just saying, though, like, they could have reserved that spot for someone that actually had talent. She's kind of a sprightly, sounds like a pretty sprightly young 74-year-old. Yeah, I mean, are we 100% that she doesn't have talent? I think we are. It's a waste of time. That was a waste of time, but funny. Man, you guys are rough on her. But you know what I mean? They do that on American Idol, too. Like the William Hung or whatever his name was. Everybody knew that was a bit.
Thank God for it. I mean, it's funny. Let's see. Please play some Williams. I don't know that I have any. He had a Christmas album that came out, and it sold so many. Oh, my gosh. What is wrong with us? Tell me your name. People like to laugh. I don't even know what he did. I just know his name. Lauren, you've never heard it? I don't know. I don't know what he does. He sings very badly. In like an accent. She banged. She banged. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I do know that one. She booed. She moved. Yeah. Oh, dude, I died. I used to have it. I don't have it. Please get it. I don't. Hang on. Please get it. Oh, it's so funny. I don't have it anymore. Oh. No, I don't have it. Can I come and search for it on your iTunes while you do the rest of the show? No, no, it's not on there. Oh, I'll find it for you. It's really funny. I know you will. Let's see. I want to hear this. Last night at Game 6, National Anthem. Christina Aguilera. Oh, yeah. I've always maintained that she's like one of the best singers there is. Beautiful voice. Let's see what she sounds like. And now to honor our country with the singing of our national anthem, please welcome pop superstar. Five-time Grammy Award winner, Christina Aguilera. Sounds like Sienna. Gorgeous. Whoa!
I'm in. I'm in. I don't like the Cookie Monster bit. Why do they do that? What's so proud? Yeah. Really? It's so easy for her. She can belt. Do you think when she was holding the microphone, she ever did the... Pinky? Pinky tap on the microphone? The pinky vibrate? Yeah, yeah. Up with that. You gotta do that. At the twilight's last gleaming, whose broad stripes and bright stars fly. This is pathetic. What? Gorgeous. I love it. This sounds great. Come on. Bro, you take a 20-second song and you make it three minutes, I'm out. Hey, listen. This sounds great. You think that's why they have Christina Aguilera there to sing it? You don't do it all fast like that. Yes, you do.
Very nice. I'm so jealous of her right now. Hey, where are the white women at? There's 15 minutes I'll never get back, ever. What is your problem? I almost cried. That's just great. farty cream. She can sing. She is phenomenal. She can sing. I don't like the Cookie Monster thing either. I don't like that. You have to take a long time to do it though because she's showing her range. Yeah, there's a lot of range. You've got to get your breath. But people want to relish in it. It's our national anthem. I'd rather bathe myself in relish than listen to it. How about that? I doubt that. 100%. 570.
194.9. Hey, give us a call. We do this thing called M1 Sound Off. Give us a call. You got something great going on. You want to tell us about. You're bursting at the seams. Something cool to happen in your life. Yeah. M1 John from Carlsbad agrees with Woods. Right, John? Hey. Yeah. Hey, guys. How's it going? What up? Good. You know, I don't know. I'm a huge baseball fan, too. I'm a Yankee fan, Dodger fan. I know that's weird, but N-L-A-L. Not really. so tiresome the way a lot of these pop singers sing the national anthem nowadays. Kills me. Yeah. There's no reserve in it. There's really no feeling in it. Have you saw how quickly she ran off the floor when she was done? Well, because they're about to play a game. Was she going to hang out and sign autographs? There was another five, ten minutes of, you know, I mean... Last sentence, she was right off the floor, probably grabbed her check and got out. No. Oh, my gosh. There's a game. People are there to watch the game. She knows that. I thought she did great. No, I'm not saying she doesn't have a bad, you know, she doesn't have a good voice. But like Woodsy said, take a 50-second song and turn it into three minutes because you want to.
You know, show how great a singer you are. Stupid BS. We're already into it. It takes a lot of time to get your breath back when you're going up and down and up and down. And there's a reason she was singing at the finals. People want to hear her sing, and they don't want just some random person singing it real quick. That's why they got Christina Aguilera. The police officer after 9-11 that sang a bunch of national anthems for weeks and months was a hundred times better. Christina Aguilera. Yeah, that meant something, too. Now, I don't know what you guys think, but that's just my two cents. Thank you, bro. I like your two cents. I'm going to put it with my change pile. Thank you, man. Right on, buddies. Hey, L.O.B. has a little shout-out she wants to give. I do. I have a sound off. I wanted to say happy anniversary to my parents. They have been married 37 years. Wow. That's so awesome. It's so awesome. It's very cool. If you got something that you want to sound off about, like something really cool that's going on, and you're just stoked about it, and you want to let the world know, like M1 Annie from Mira Mesa, go ahead. Hey, I had this amazing thing happen to me two months ago when my friend and I were driving up to Ventura. These cute guys were pacing up in the car next to us and asked for my number. Lucky. And it was pretty silly, but I gave it to him. Wow. And we're still talking two months later. He's coming down on Friday. Nice. Look at you. Wow.
Are we about to make out right now? That's very nice. That's a great experience. Very cool. He's rad, and he wants to get a job at Stonebury so he can be here for the weekend. Yeah. How great would that be if you guys end up getting married? Such a good story. I love it. That's like the way that you met. We would have to do it at a brewery. Yeah. That'd be cool. Close that deal this weekend, kid. Make it right. Make it real right. Thanks a lot. So if anybody has any contacts at Stone, let me know because we're going to be there on Friday and we've got to get him a job. All right. There you go. Go close that deal. Thanks, Annie. Bye. Appreciate it. M1 Supermom from Oceanside. Who do you want to talk about? Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. My daughter, her name is Demi, M1 Demi. She's graduating with honors today from El Camino High School. Very nice. That's so cool. That's so cool. I wish I could have experienced graduation. I had the GED real nice, so that was great. What did you do? Did you drop out? Yeah, my dad, well, here's what happened. I went into class, and congratulations again, Supermom. That's very cool. I walked into a class.
My teachers really liked me in school. They really liked me. We heard from one of them one day. He loved you. Yeah, the teachers loved me. So I'm sitting in this class. I wandered in halfway through the class like I always did. My mornings were spent in San Francisco sitting in a live studio audience of a radio DJ named Alex Bennett. Really? Yeah, I used to go to the Alex Bennett show. My parents thought I was at school. No way. Yeah, and my whole senior year, that's all I would do. That's awesome. And I would come back at about 11.30 in the morning because the show was over. Take about an hour to get back from San Francisco. So I'd wander into class and my teachers loved me. They didn't care. They let me come in. I was funny. I'd make jokes. They liked it. So this particular day that I walked into the class, all the kids had their desks pushed together in circles and they were doing like circle projects. And I was like, cool, I'm getting in circle projects. So I pushed my chair in and I'm sitting there and I'm, you know, doing my bits. I'm joking around. And the teacher's name was Mrs. Sarekstad. And she was super cool. Super cool teacher. And she liked me. She came over. She goes, hey, I want to tell you that, because she was the, her other job was that she was the person that was in charge of how many credits you had to like graduate. Guidance counselor. Guidance counselor. Yeah. So she comes over and she goes, hey, I just want to let you know, you can stay.
I have no problems with you staying if you want, but there's no way that you're graduating. And I said, so even if I like buckle down and blah, blah, blah, she goes, oh yeah, there's no way you don't have enough credits. You're not going to graduate, but you are a hundred percent free to stay if you want. And I said, so it doesn't mean anything. She goes, no, got up, walked off the camp. I never went back. But then I had to go home and tell my mom and dad. And so my dad said, okay, cool, pack up, you're done. What? So I had to leave that day. I had to move out that day. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. So I packed up my truck and moved to Arizona, stayed with my brother, got a job in radio, and here we are. That's crazy. Holy crap. Yeah. That's awesome. That is crazy. But, I mean, listen, I would not recommend that for any kid. It's terrible. Scary. Go to class. You know what I mean? Hillary's here. I'm sure you had the same exact story. Did you have that same exact experience? Did you graduate with honors? I don't think with honors. Graduated high school and college. UC Irvine, Ant Eater, Zot. Nice. Are you a good student in high school?
You know what? I was at first, and then things started to go a little downhill for me. I actually went to a private high school freshman, sophomore, junior year, and then went to a public school my senior year. Oh, my God. Did somebody get the boot? No, I didn't get the boot. No, somebody got the pot. Right? You know, actually, it's a complicated story. It's my wife's story, too, by the way. But, no, it was good. And then I went to public school and, you know, bolted off campus every day and went and, well. Yeah. Did some stuff. My wife. Did you blast cigs? Did you blast cigs in high school? I love it. My wife, same story. She went to private school. And then. High school, transferred to a public school, started smoking marijuana cigarettes. Reaper. You know what I mean? Because she went to the, you know, she started with the buddies and that was the deal. It'll get you real good. Get you real good. You know what I mean? That actually was not my issue, but I could see how that could affect. Could be the deal. Yeah, I got my GED. I should take a couple of classes. I'm going to write a paper from Woods. Yes, you are.
I'm writing a paper on the movie Dumb and Dumber. I bet you would really enjoy college classes. Oh, my God. He totally would. He's such a thinker. I bet you'd dig it. Yeah. I probably would. Let's do it on the weekends. We should go to some golf balls, too. What do they call that? Auditing a class if you just go to it and you sit in there? Yeah, you can take it credit, no credit. Yeah? So you just go and sit and you just get to learn. Yeah, you still have to pay for it, but you can elect to not get a grade for it. Really? Some professors will let you audit it without paying. At some schools, the classes are so big, there's like 500 kids in a class. You walk right in, sit down, no one will know. But I mean... Mikey's going to follow the rules. Why would you pay if you're not getting... To learn. You're paying for that teacher's time. Here's the deal. What does a guy like you care about college credits for? You're not going to go through your whole degree, so if you want to get a few classes under your belt, just go. Go to Mesa. Yeah. I want to take philosophy classes. Yeah, you would freaking love it. I bet you would love it. Like, you can feel your brain expanding. I, college was so, I loved it. I did too. I did too. I had a blast. I hated it. I loved it. You did? Yeah, it's not for everyone. No. No, it's not, but I mean, I love it. I'll give you that. I didn't finish. What do you got, were you in a sorority?
No. Heck no. College radio was my, I was with like the weirdos. College radio was my posse. Just jamming Fugazi real good. Like the Melvins. This is just an example. We was KUCI, which is still going on UC Irvine campus. We arranged for the Melvins to come play in the quad for like a lunchtime show. Amazing. one day and we felt like triumphant because the quad was like full of the, and I have great friends who are in the Greek system. So, you know, no, nothing against it, but it, the Melvins cleared all the fraternity and sorority tables of the quad after like five minutes stood up and walked. Oh yeah. That's awesome. Couldn't hang. And we, We kind of loved that. That was like, that was my boss. That's awesome. My group of people. That's awesome. What do you got coming up, Hill? Mumford and Sons. I grabbed Meat Puppets, Black Keys, some Clash, Weird, and I'm going to play some more Bad Brains today. I played it yesterday, so I'm going to play some more today. There you go. Lovely and talented Hillary up next, and then we'll come back tomorrow morning at 6 and do it all over again. Mikey Show's out. Hey. Lincoln Financial Media Station. Mikey in the morning. About the music all day and night.
It's about the music.
