Jay scales walls better than spiderman! Is the Geezer bandit inspiring impersonators? Vice President Joe Biden loves yogurt, but not yogurt servers. Where is the 94/9 transmitter. Mockey, you sponger, you sponge real sweetly, Mockey! LOB gets roasted for another blonde moment. What has Mikey done for his girlfriend (Padres) lately? The panel talks about Ga Ga, MJ’s glove, and celebrity relatives. Jay was hot-tubbing with the wife and both of them saw UFOs! The Kid doesn’t buy it, but why would Jay make that up? Next, Mikey tells his own UFO story and Woods has no explanation. A debate on the possibility of intelligent life in the universe follows, leading to a mention of M. Night Shamalammadingdong. Chris Brown audio will make you gag; does he deserve forgiveness? NNT 80’s and 90’s rock provides for surprise victory. Al Gore warms his own globe (allegedly) with a massage therapist who says it may be ‘inconvenient’ but it’s the ‘truth’! Smoking woman at a party for children even gets Woods up in arms, but ends up defending himself anyway. Nicotine addiction stories follow. Obese Mikey doesn’t like Sienna’s news about American McNuggets. Eskimo Bluewaters is experimenting with lots of new stuff, including comedy! Yodeling is also up EBW’s alley, and she then proceeds to read Sienna’s palm. How to know when a girl is ready to dump you has LOB regretting her 30th birthday. Good thing Lauren’s easy to reach on the phone, right? Radio Charades sees a nail biting, last second finish. Mikey interviews Midnight Express author Billy Hayes about his real life escape from a Turkish Prison and how it really went down. This is a riveting interview you won’t want to miss. Woods almost joined the Navy! He tells of his first year of college struggles and LOB tells how she almost declined Mikey’s offer to be on the show. The vuvuzela song: inspired by a woman who blew out her windpipe with one of those annoying soccer horns. Todd the God taking surf lessons from Woods leads to an awkward but funny situation.

KBZT San Diego, the Lincoln Financial Media Station, the new home of The Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. Well, I've taken the advice of a lot of people and eating more meals more often. I've gained three pounds. All right. It's really wonderful. That's what you were shooting for, right? To gain weight? It's really great. Glad my face looks like I was just taken out of a river after three days. You're crazy. Bloated. Yeah, nice and bloated. You're crazy. Anybody have any Midol? It's like I've been licking salt rocks for four days. Nice water retention, Mike. Oh, well. Welcome to the show. It's Monday morning. We're ready to get you going. We got so much info for you. Can you believe that? Yeah, he and Larry King helped Noah. Yeah, that's right. They helped build. Yeah, they did. Congratulations to both of those guys. The longest serving senator in history. Do you know how long he was hanging out there? 114 years. 50 years. Oh, my. Holy cow. I know. Yeah. I hope we have this. He's like 18,000 sign-ins or something like that. I hope we have this job in 50 years. No. Seriously. I know it. 84. I'm Mikey on the show. In the woods. He made very controversial comments about African-Americans back in the day. He was a very, very controversial guy. And this is a very old fellow, man. That and a lot more news that we're going to be hitting on. And your phone calls. We got a little bit of everything. So we'll get some Sienna stuff. You never know what to expect on Monday. You literally never know. It's true. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 40 years old and not the tallest person in the world. That's not one of my gifts.
You're a giant. You have a giant heart. You have a giant heart. It's wonderful. Every time. Is it wonderful? It's wonderful. Is it lovely? It's darling. Delightful. It's delightful. I have other gifts. You know, I'm a good orator. Yeah, you can orate. Very articulate. Yes. Just not going to play forward for anyone. No. Certainly not going to play center. No. Let's see. Woodsy is our sports guy. He's got his family in the studio today. From out of town. Yep. New Mexico. From New Mexico. I've met them all. They're all delightful. Wonderful. Where'd you meet them? Met them at my place on Friday. Oh, you didn't meet them at the beach on Saturday? Yet another thing you were invited to and didn't go. It was an invite you turned down, L.O.B. Yes. I was getting my hair did. Is that right? Yeah. Were you? Yes.
How long does that thing take now? Eight hours? More on that in just a moment. Lauren O'Brien is the blonde Irish girl to my right. How you doing? I'm doing good. Sienna is our news girl. She's the pretty auburn hair girl to my left with child. That baby's coming out of there pretty soon. Oh, yeah. It's got to. Yeah, has to. She's got a diaper genie. It was really exciting. Let me tell you about those, man. Those things to save your world. Yes. I got a new one. It's Elite. Is a diaper genie somebody that actually comes in and changes diapers for you? Because that's what I want. It's Barbara Eden. She shows up. Wiggle your nose. Yeah. Diaper genies are a wonderful creation because they kill the smell. They do. Again with the wonderful, huh? I'm going to keep using it. I'm 40. I'm 40. What do I care? I'm 40 years old. It's true. I'm an adult man. Don't give up, dude. I'm going to start using wonderful.
You've already started, buddy. Five times this morning. Socks and sandals are next. Fanny pack twisted around his back. Oh, boy. Don't let me do that. Never. You're not going to do that. Who do you hang out with, dude? It's never going to happen. It's like, you know, when am I going to stop? Eventually, I'm going to come in here, and I'm going to have my jeans just below my nipples. You know it's coming. You know it's coming. That's right. That's who I am mentally anyway. You know it. You're not. I am, too. Your wife will not let you walk out of the house like that. He is a 60-year-old man, though, mentally. No. Mentally. At times. At times. And then sometimes he's a six-year-old man. Right. Yeah. That's true. You don't know which mic you're going to get that day. When he hangs out with me. Jay, our producer, is 47, except mentally he's like 23. Right. Physically, too. Physically 23. Yeah. Can I just tell you a quick story about Jay? Yeah. So Friday at my place, Jay came over, and we were doing some swimming.
And in our backyard, we have a slide that is a faux rock cave. Okay? Whose idea was that? The rock cave? Yeah. That was my idea. For Jake's idea? That was my idea for Jake. It is so cool. For Jake? It is cool. For Jake. Or for yourself. Mikey. Okay. Pirate Cove, Mikey. Mikey. It was for me. It was for me. And it's got a little waterfall that goes over the cave and everything. Well, when we first got it and I was in the water, I attempted to climb it. Now that attempt, that attempt took all of, and this is real time. I don't want to exaggerate. I want to go overboard. And I also don't want to undersell it. I want to give you actual time. I spent approximately three and a half seconds trying. Approximately three and a half seconds. 1,001, 1,002, 1,003. I'm done. That's it. Jay. I watched scale this rock, and it's not easy. I mean, I know it sounds like, oh, what's the deal with that? Well, the deal with it is that it's not a rock wall. It wasn't created to be a rock wall. In fact, it's quite slippery and doesn't have a lot of places to grab onto. Jay made short work of it. Yes. He had a chisel and a hammer, and he was chiseling holes in your rock to get a foothold. I watched him do it. I shook my head, and I squinted. And I went, really, with you with the 47 and the climbing? Spider-Man moves. I would have spit.
All day playing on that thing. Because there are so many different ways you could climb it. Are there, really? Oh, there are. I was like, man, this is perfect. You've got to rub it in by saying there's so many ways. So many different ways that any normal guy could find. It was not easy. It was fun to watch. Well, then Jasper did it. Yeah, then his seven-year-old son. Jasper was doing it. It was great. They both had little pouches of edamame. That's what Woods says. He goes, Jay, where's your edamame? Thanks, Woods. Look at Lauren O'Brien. She got what is known as a Brazilian blowout. No, it looks so good. It looks good. I'm jealous. This looks like Pantene Pro-V hair. It does. It does. She has this long, straight, silky, smooth hair. How would you have described your hair before so that listeners can have a point of reference? Nappy, rat's nest. No, I don't really like to do a lot to it. I like to just kind of wash and go and maybe take a hair dryer for a second or two. When I did that before, you guys saw what the outcome was. Not pretty. Well, that's a little dramatic, isn't it? It was frizzy and it was like a little dry all over the place, hippie hair.
Looks really nice. Now she's sporty spice. Well, I wore my jacket. This is the jacket that I bought the last World Cup. Yeah. And I bought it by accident. It's an Argentina jacket. Argentina just won. So I'm like, I'm going to sport this the rest of the week. That's right. So there it is. But yeah, got it done. I'm all grown up. How long did it take? It took, let's see. Well, I got a cut and everything too. So all together probably took about two hours. It's the Brazilian blowout. What time did you get it done? 1.30. Is that right? So that would have been done about 3.30. I was done at 3.30. What time did everybody show up at Mike's? 4.30. About 4.30. Yeah, and remember I said I couldn't go in the pool because I couldn't wet my hair. A lot of people didn't. Mike didn't go in the pool. Jamie didn't go in the pool. What fun is a pool party if he can't go in the pool? Dan didn't go in the pool. Julie didn't go in the pool. Food was good. It's just about spending quality time with our friends. Trying to be dynamic. Remember when I asked you what time the party started and you never answered me? Yeah, I think I answered you in the car on our way to... To the deal on Friday. Well, at that point, I thought everyone had already resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to be there. I remember seeing that look of disappointment on your face that said, I know what time it starts. Now they know what time I'm finishing. Yeah. Now what? I thought it was going to take way longer, and then I took a nap. Oh. Well, good for you. Congratulations. You know? Well, the hair looks good. The hair looks really, really cool. Thank you. I was worried about it because I had to wash it prematurely. Yep.
Hey, did you know that there's a copycat geezer bandit out there? No. Yes, there is. Believe that. And this guy does not have the same guys that were on Mrs. Doubtfire. doing his makeup because this is the worst mask I've ever seen. I'll show you guys pictures in a second. But it's obviously an old person mask that this guy came into the Bank of America in Sereno Valley on Friday. And he used the demand note, the same bit as the Geezer Bandit. However, no gun was seen. The Geezer Bandit always flashes a weapon, you know, to let him know he means business. Right. So this guy, you know, he got away with it. He got the money. We don't know how much money and just walked right out. Great. Yeah, he's this guy. We know he's different because the geezer bandit. This old guy is apparently six feet tall, which how many old guys in their 70s are six feet tall. See, that's the thing. We talked about that. I think that as you get older, your body starts to shrink. Well, this guy was five six. Mikey.
Imagine Mikey when he's old. It's the picture on top. Four feet tall. Oh, my gosh. And the Geezer Bandit's beneath him. So it's a comparison. Oh, look. Fred Flintstone robbed a bank. I know. It's just like a mask you can buy at a grocery store. Not a grocery store, a costume store. Oh, my gosh. It's the worst. It's the worst costume. Jay, we got to get that up on MikeyShow.com. Wait a minute. That's for real? The top one is the new guy. Yeah. That is awful. Uh-huh. The geezer bandits. Looks like Leno's chin. How did people not push the button as soon as he walked in? Of course. Hey, that guy's wearing a mask. Right. Right. Wow. Where did he put that on? Did he put it on in the car before he walked in? Did he put it on at the door of the bank? Where did he put that on? Because I'm telling you, this is the most prosthetic, gigantic, oversized, exaggerated caricature of a mask you've ever seen in your life. It's such a great outfit. That is ridiculous. 570-1949. Call about whatever you want and get in here. And M1, by the way, is a Mikey Show listener.
That is you. You listen to The Mikey Show. You listen to it exclusively. You turn your radio down and get to your point and don't cuss when you call in. And you turn new people on to The Mikey Show. You're a part of what essentially is a grassroots campaign. And that's what The Mikey Show is. You listen to The Mikey Show, you know the rules. And thank you for being a Mikey Show M1. It means a lot to us that you are. Let's see. Told you about Senator Byrd. He passed away. This morning, 3 a.m. East Coast time. Mm-hmm. Senator Biden got into some trouble. Why? This guy. Vice President. Yeah, Vice President Biden. Yeah, he doesn't have much of a filter. He was in Milwaukee. And he went into a custard shop, as we like to call yogurt store, you know, a little yogurt shop. And he walks up. He, first of all, orders an ice cream. At the yogurt shop. Which, come on, buddy. Do you have a banana split? Can I get a root beer float? No, they don't have those there. Yeah. So he walks up there and the manager waits on them and says, Biden says, what do we owe you? The manager says, oh, don't worry. It's on us. Lower our taxes and we'll call it even. And Biden basically just calls him. Here, let's see. Okay. Because the audio, I don't know who did, who took the video or whatever of it, but the audio quality is not very good, but you can take a listen.
Great. That sounds amazing. Sounds like I loaded it. At a train station. A few minutes after the cops' managers comment on lower our taxes, there's another exchange. Why don't you say something nice instead of being a smartass all the time? God, dude, lighten up. Yeah. Yeah, Biden. He's a loose cannon, man. How does he say all the time? I know. I just met this guy in one transaction. And what's your name again? I come in here every day for a custard. Yeah. An ice cream. And you're always running mouth. It's like we just met. We didn't go to high school. All the time. How do you know what I do all the time? You follow me around? Your mouse in my pocket? Yeah. 570-1949. That would have been awesome if the manager really said that. Really? All the time? Yeah, all the time. Do we hang out? See, you're being a smart A again. He was just trying to make a joke. I know. Jeez Louise. Who, the? The custard. The custard guy. Custard boy. Yeah. Biden. Oh, Biden was. No. He should relax. Biden should relax. He needs to relax. How has Biden not figured out that he says...
Stupid stuff. Because he's a hothead. Yeah, and I guess if you're a hothead, you don't know. You don't know any better. You don't know any better. You say it and you wait for the repercussions. Nobody tells the kid what to do. That's right. Biden and I are very similar. Maybe I could be vice president. Nobody tells the Biden what to do. M1 Veronica from Oceanside. Hello. How are you guys this morning? Good morning. Good. Hey, I just want to let you guys know you can be heard up in L.A. Really? Oh, yeah. What parts of L.A.? Where in LA? I'm coming up to LAX. Oh, really? Oh, that's awesome. I was super bummed this morning. I'm waking up. I'm like, I'm not going to be able to hear you guys because at the other station, I can only get you guys to the toll road. That's cool. Yeah. You must have a good antenna. That's cool. You're all the way up here. I appreciate that. Not a problem. Thanks a lot. Have a good one. Bye, Veronica. Bye. As the host of the morning show, I should know. Where our transmitter is. I should. Someone asked me the other day, too. I'm like, ask Jay. You want to email Jay at Mikey show dot com. I have a friend that lives in Orange County, Newport Beach, and he said he loses us once he gets into Orange County. So either something's changed or maybe she has a really good antenna. Hey, Jeremy, one of our engineers is probably listening right now. Jeremy, if you're here in the building, come in, because I want to be educated on.
how far our signal goes yes when i first got into radio when i was 18 that was the coolest stuff to me yeah that was the coolest like man if you had a big stick so they called it really it was the it was the coolest thing because that signal would travel make it a long way jeremy yes he just came strolling in looking half asleep i know but i don't think he knows that i don't think he was yeah he didn't hear it Jay's running to grab him. That's such a guy thing, the transmitter and those questions. Girls are like, as long as I can hear you, that's all I care about. That's right. Guys are like, hey, Jeremy, so on this mic right here, where is our transmitter? You know where Soledad Cross is? Yeah. It's actually just west of the Soledad Cross. It's those two towers. It sits right on the cliff there. How many watts are we? Six. Oh, man, it's hard to say. If we had Bill, he could tell you exactly what it was. I know. Because there's actually a, what we put out and what the antenna does are two different things. Yeah. Because we're actually putting out, I think it's like, what, 20K? Mm-hmm. And then the antenna makes it more, so it ups it to like 500 or something. Somebody just called and said they could hear us in Los Angeles. Yeah. If you're going down the 5 freeway, you can hear us. Oh.
A good distance. If you're going to San Bernardino, you're going to Bear Mountain, you can hear us along that stretch, too. That's awesome. The 405, maybe you can't hear us as well? Because my friend says he loses us in Newport Beach. It gets a little shadowy. Anywhere along the water you're going to get is pretty good because water actually helps with the effing signal. That's good because I'm swimming to Catalina this weekend. It's good to know. Swim out there with my waterproof iPod. It's a good thing to know. I've gotten two great visuals of you. Scaling the side of your pool, mountain, and swimming to Catalina. You going to take your boogie board with you? Is that right? No, take your surfboard. You glide better. Thanks, Jeremy. Purist, are we? Elitist. Elitist. You going to paddle out? Yeah. Do little fins on? Yeah, I am. I don't know if I'll use mine or yours. Okay. Mine that is sitting in the garage? Been sitting there now for a week and a half. About six weeks. Is that right? I don't think so, buddy. Don't put him in that category. Don't do it to me because you and I are in this together. I am not a sponge. Not anymore. He doesn't use his boogie board anymore. What's wrong with using it? I haven't touched it since the day I bought it. Well, for one, you shamed me out of it. I never did. You shamed me out of it. He shamed me out of it. I will never touch that thing again. I didn't want to touch it getting out of the trunk this weekend. My nephew's in town. I was like...
You take it. I don't want to be seen with it. I'm just going to recreate a conversation that Woods and I had on the phone approximately a month and a half ago. Six weeks, yeah. It's about six weeks. Okay. And the conversation went like this. Dude, Maki. Maki. I don't care. I don't care what people think about me. I'm from Texas. He goes, dude, I just want to have fun, Maki. Maki. You think I care? I don't care. These clowns think Maki. What do they care? Dude, let's go down. to the sporting goods store today and get ourselves some fins and a sponge. I don't care. What if we're really good, Maki? And I go, real good. And I go, I go, fine. I go, fine. You talk me into it. Let's meet down there right now. He goes, yeah, dude, I don't care. Now? Now? He's like, really? Look who cares now. Maki, you ride your dumb sponge this weekend, dude. Maki, you sponging it real good, Maki. You sponging it real good. Why do I always sound drunk when you do it? I don't even drink. Hey, Maki. Putting those fins on.
Real good. Yeah, put them on, paddle out real good. Real sweetly. Real sweetly, Maki. Maki. Kill me, kill me, kill me, kill me. Maki, even the sharks think you're a dork, man. They won't even eat you because you're too dorky. They're like, I don't want none of that. That's dork meat. I don't want dork meat. I don't want dork meat. I like white meat, not dork meat. Really, really, really, really. Yes, yes. Maki. Maki. That's another thing I got to stress about. Sponging. No, you do not. Don't you? She was the number one. No, I was not. That's a dart. 1,000%. We're going to play back the tape. Kelly Slater wouldn't be caught dead on a sponge. And I said I was kidding. I always said. Go ahead and do it. You need to learn how to crawl before you can walk. And plenty of people, including M1 Danny and my brother-in-law, are sponging on their legs. She slayed me. Not true. Play back the tape. How about me and my jeans on the beach this weekend? No, Michael Esparza. Really? No. Can you roll them up? No. May I finish? No. May I finish? May I finish? All right. That's a good bit. I don't know if it can get any worse. Let me explain how this happened. Okay.
Woods invited me to the beach, spent some time with his family. And so my plan was I'm going to go down there and sponge it up real good on my boogie board. Body board. Remember I said body board. Yeah, that's true. L.O.B. said kind of sound cooler if you say body. OK, it's my body board. Right. So I go down to the beach and I had on a T-shirt and a pair of jeans and I was going to change into my wetsuit. And so I. Go down there and I'm carrying my wetsuit and my little beach chair. And I got down to... What color is your beach chair? What's that? What color is your beach chair? It's like... Rainbow stripes? Multicolored. Bright green? No, it's multicolored. So I get down to the beach and I set the little beach chair up and I plop down and start eating all the snacks that Woods' wife Jamie brought. They're so delicious. Of course they are. And I'm... completely content and happy as a little bear with honey. And so Woods is being all athletic and he's getting out there and surfing it up real good. And every time he does, I give him a fist bump and go, have fun, buddy. And I just sat there eating cupcakes and chips on the beach. I did. That's what I did when I was there. And then about three o'clock, I was like, well, let's guess I'll take it to the house. See you guys later.
Didn't even touch the water. Did not dip a toe. Felt humiliated walking by. Why did I feel humiliated? Why didn't I get in the water? All of the above. Didn't get in the water because if I did, I had to get up, put a towel around myself, get naked from the waist down to put on a wetsuit. Didn't want to do that. Water's warm now. It's warm. For your chunky trunks. Get your rash guard. That's all. I'm going to get a rash guard and I'm going to make it right. M1 Efren from Chula Vista. Are you there, Efren? Talk to me, buddy. Can you hear me? Hi, Efren. Uh-oh. Hello. Hello. Jay, is everything pressed over here? Everything's pressed. Hello? Can you hear me, Efren? Hello. I don't understand the words that are coming out of my mouth. Let's all say hello. Hello. Mikey. Yes, sir. Yes, how you doing? I'm good. How are you, Efren? All right, just working. I'm actually on my break right now, UPS. I love you guys' show. Thank you. I love UPS.
I know where you guys can find the Geezer Bandit. Where? Magic Mountain, Six Flags. How's that? He dances there. What do you mean? You know the old bandit dancing on commercials? That scary guy. That creepy old... Oh, that guy. I haven't seen one of those in a while. Looks kind of like the... That's the guy that's robbing the bank. He does. He looks just like him. They do look similar. I never noticed that, but you're right. Looks just like him. Well, let's get a posse together and make it right. Yeah. Thank you, guys. I love you guys' show. Thank you, Efren. All right, man. Good guy. Thank you. Appreciate you. Did any of you get really nervous when he said, do you guys want to know the geezer band? Yeah, I was like, uh-oh, uh-oh. I was like, don't call us. Don't call us. For a second. Call the authority. I'm like, oh, my gosh. We're going to hear this on the news. Yeah, he's like, hey, I actually work with him here. He drives a truck. I didn't know. You're going to need to make some calls. Yeah, I pictured, wait, interrupt this broadcast. Some new news. A local radio station got a call today from the Geezer Bandits accomplice. The most gullible one on the show. Yeah.
I didn't believe. Not for a second. Most gullible one was like, you guys are idiots. Why do you believe in everything you hear? Yeah, the girl that thought the new iPhone actually came equipped with a real lightsaber. No, I didn't think it came with a lightsaber. I thought it would be. Does it not have a lightsaber app? Yes, it does. And I thought it would be cool if it actually emanated a light. No, you didn't. It has a fart sound, too, but it doesn't actually fart. I know. It doesn't smell. L.O.B., in defense to the universe, you did. say you did say oh my gosh so like why it comes out of it did i say you did you did you did yeah i still don't think it's a stupid question it'd be a really cool app Sure it would. It would cut people in half. It'd be great. No. Start handing them out to the military. It would just blow in the dark. Yeah. You'd have Israeli lightsabers. You'd have American-made lightsabers. Palestinian. Palestinian lightsabers. I'll tell you what. Steve Jobs is working on it right now. 100% he is. Right now. Oh, I do a lot of things I shouldn't do. Sienna. I go on long walks. And Jay. I just got reminded of the worst haircut ever that I had. I forgot about. I had the rat tail. Oh, yeah. On FM 94.9. Oh, yeah, Sienna. It's from Tomo. Good morning, San Diego. A little Rolling Stones. Show me up. Let's do it. Like in the morning. Your favorite radio station. It's FM 94.9. It's from Tomo. Come on.
Big Boss Radio is what that is. That's a Big Boss Radio? Big Boss Radio. Love that. That's good stuff. Wait until I read you Jay's recap. It's coming up here in just a minute. Climb Mount Everest this weekend? Yeah, probably. Right? We know he's capable. You never know what you're going to get with Jay. You don't. It's like a box of chocolates. How about we just get right into it? Just get right to it. Let's find out what's happening in the world of sports. Oh, we got some stuff. Bloods! Watch, watch, watch, watch. Well, we are going to combine my two favorite baseball teams into one delightful highlight for you. Padres fans are loving the New York Yankees this morning as the Yankees took two of three from those hated, nasty Dodgers. Oh, nice. I'm watching the game last night. Yankees are down four in the ninth. And one of the best closures in the game, Jonathan Broxton, comes on. I'm like, no, this thing's toast. Yeah, no, that's not toast yet at all.
That was a game. Yanks come back. They got a couple of rookies, get clutch hits. Overtime. They go to extra innings, and the Dodgers bring in George Sherrill to face Robinson Cano. Cut one. That's center field. Way west opposite field. Unbelievable. Is that the Yankees play-by-play guy? No, that's Joe Morgan and John Miller. They do ESPN Sunday nights. Let me tell you. It's an exciting call. Absolutely. It's an exciting call. He's great. So the Yanks come all the way back from down four in the ninth with one out even in the ninth and beat the Dodgers. So they took two out of three. Helps the Padres tremendously. Yeah, it does. Let's feast on that. Yeah, there you go. And the Padres were extra excited. They went to Florida. They beat up the Marlins. They swept the Marlins on the road. Nice. Will Venable has been clutch lately. Hit the homers in two consecutive games.
Padres have won six of their last seven. They are four and a half games up in the West. I love it. Oh, my goodness. The Dodgers have slid to third. The Giants are second. But they're struggling, too. Summer is going to be so much freaking fun here if they keep playing baseball this way. Yeah. Because you're going to have the Giants in town a lot. You're going to have the Dodgers in town a lot. Those are fun games. I will be going to those games. I heard a clip of Ted Leitner with the call of the Padres beating the Marlins. Again, very exciting. Mike, you've had one loyal girlfriend this season. What's that? The Padres. She's been toeing the line. What have you done for her? Yeah, what have you done? You're right. It's time that I start showing her some love. You're wearing a shirt with her face on it. I am. You playing hard to get is really working in your favor. Well, here's the deal. I compare my relationship with the Padres like a guy and his girlfriend in the past. This particular girlfriend has let me down and disappointed me. And in fact, it happens every season. And so my friends say to me, are you crazy? Why are you taking her back? You know what she's going to do to you. She starts out great and then inevitably will cheat on you. And I say, no, not this time. And season after season after season. Doesn't matter. But she feels so good, pal. This season feels so good. It does. It feels so different.
Some people are loyal all the time, every season, no matter what. I'm being one of them. LLB, probably another one with her Eagles. Well, the USA is out of the World Cup. They lost to a country with no indoor plumbing or running water, so that's good. Oh, great. Well, that's because they need something to do outside. Exactly. I'm very proud of our guys. Here's the game call. Cut to. USA Hobbit, but the referee blows. Cadet Vuvuzuela. B. Any more annoying. I'm getting used to it. I love it. I want it at my baseball games. All right. It's time on the USA's World Cup. It's Ghana who go through. And once again, the USA fall against the same opposition as they did four years ago in Nuremberg. An emotional hug between the coaches. Ghana win it. As if it weren't enough. that the USA lost as if it weren't enough that we just had to endure 24 seconds of the Vuvuzuela. On top of all of that, the guy that's making a call sounds just like this, screaming about your ear as loud as he can. And he's so excited. But you know what? For that guy, that guy got killed later because Germany beat England 4-1. England is going home as well.
That makes everybody very happy. It was a tough loss for Team USA. Here's U.S. soccer coach Bob Bradley on the defeat. Cut three. To go down a goal early again, won too many times. I really felt when we got to 1-1 that there were some chances there for us. But again, early in the overtime, we go down again, and it was just at that point with everything that we had put into the game physically, we just didn't have enough after that. This is a terrific group, and we're proud. We're also disappointed that we couldn't take it further. Well, I'll tell you what. I'm not going to watch any more of this. No. That's a good one. I'm just not going to take this. I like it. I'm going to. Are you going to? I'm not going to. Sure, I'm going to watch it. Probably the last you'll hear about the World Cup this year, ladies and gents. I'm going to blame you. And also, the stage is set tonight for one of my favorite events of the year. The College World Series starts tonight at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska. Bing, bing. That's those college players raking all over the field. It's the best of three series. Two out of three wins it. And it's South Carolina against UCLA. Cool thing about this matchup, Mike, neither team has ever won a national championship in baseball. So somebody's gonna. It's going to be very, very cool. There it is. And last but certainly not least, the San Diego Brewers were trailing a team yesterday called the Dudes.
Yeah, the dudes is who we played. Serious league. More of the San Diego Brewers. That's my men's league team. You know that. You don't have to ask. It's all business. You know that. Six to one, we were trailing, and we came back and we won 11 to 10. Your boy was on base three times. We were starting rallies. We made it right yesterday. Brewers, two-game winning streak. Feast on that. 26,000 watts hurt all the way up in Los Angeles. That's what they get. And you know what? In a professional broadcast organization, sports. The first five fans yesterday. Got a special treat. What's that? A Woods bobblehead. Nah. Of course not. Come on, L-O-B. Stranger things have happened. L-O-B? What? Really? Excuse me. Excuse me. Woods went out and had Woods bobbleheads made and brought five out to the game. To hand out to the first five. For the first five fans. Him and Git Enterprises or like one of the loyal fans making them. That's true, but still, you would think. We've got a comic book series after us. You never know. Hey, I'll take a bobblehead. Sometimes you do know. Do you? I don't know. I've been out of the loop. You guys have been hanging out, partying all weekend together. Yeah, it's because some of us are getting Brazilian blowouts. And some of us don't.
Include themselves in things. Really? They have beautiful hair. It's gorgeous. Love that Brazilian blowout. They have beautiful hair. I wonder if Bigfoot got a Brazilian blowout. Gorgeous. 570-1949 is our number. And if you want to, text us 949mikey at gmail.com. Been doing something called a panel, which is where we bring up some topics and you guys get 30 seconds to discuss. Sienna, Woods, and Lauren O'Brien. You have about 30 seconds to discuss. This has been one that I'm like, where is the interest level on this? Lady Gaga has a released song that's hit the internet. Now, as a man, I can tell you that I'm not interested necessarily in hearing the song, but I do find the fact that it's leaked interesting. Yeah.
And it's making a lot of news. I've kind of heard it in a lot of places. Sienna. What do you think about that? What do I think? Yeah, what do you think about her leaked song? Are you interested? I always like to hear them. I mean, Lady Gaga, I'm not her biggest fan, but she does have some catchy tunes. Yeah. So I'd like to hear it, especially because I know that it's like kind of a rock and roll-ish. So it's a different vibe for Lady Gaga. So I'd like to see what she brings. But other than that, I don't really care. Woods? Really? L-O-B? I figure I'll probably hear it whenever I hear all the rest of her songs, which is like six months after they come out and I think they're new. It's kind of how I am. It doesn't matter. It's kind of how I am with it. But I got to admit, I can't stand the curiosity factor. I kind of have to know. So let's see if this works. Yeah, it does. Take a listen. It's a brand new record that no one's ever heard before. What? What's she, Madonna now? So I leaked it myself. And the band has never played it live, ever, ever. Yeah, why is she having an accent? I've got a fake English accent. Why? That annoys me. I've been to Ghana. Before I came on stage, the song is called You and I. And it's a bit of a rock and roll tune, which means...
Oh, be quiet and play it already, Gaga. Quit gagaing on it. Yeah. This song is very... Oh, my God. Don't even give her the justice. Nobody go gaga over this, okay? Seriously. Have a poker face, man, while you're doing stuff like that. Really? The guys and the references... Gaga, just dance! Just dance! Telephone? Pick up the telephone and sing the song. You're acting like the paparazzi are there to take pictures of every single move that you make. This is like a bad romance. That's great. Well, I appreciate the song and glad we had a chance to hear it. She's got a nice voice and she can play, but enough with the antics, shenanigans. She's like, this is my new song. You know, I originally wrote it in the key of C, but... I felt like D was just a better feel. And people in the audience are like, I don't care. And I got the strings replaced on my guitar last night, but I decided. I used Taylor Elites. They're really good. They're clear. They're crisp. It's been a long time in town. And this time you kiss me. It's at Amy Winehouse. Yikes. All right. Curiosity quenched.
That's all I needed. Slightly. It didn't seem very rock and rolly to me. Wait until they auto-tune it and throw a beat behind it real good. It'll be great. It tastes like whiskey, whiskey, whiskey, whiskey. Okay. Give me 30 seconds on this. Michael Jackson's glove just sold for $190,000. Sienna? Really? Ridiculous. $192,000 for a glove? If there was diamonds on it, I'd be in. What's he? I'm all about it, man. I actually had my own glove at one time in my youth, and I'd love to have that glove. If you were a really, really wealthy guy, 190? I'd buy it and wear it on my head. L-O-B? I'd say that's a pretty not-wise investment. Just go to Michael's and have your grandmother make you one. Like mine did. Yeah. You know, what do you do? I mean, I guess you're a Michael Jackson fan, so you don't really care about... It being an investment, you're never going to get rid of it. Maybe it increases in value, but you're not going to get rid of it. You're a Michael Jackson fan. You're going to sleep with it in your cocoon. You wear it. Yeah, with your chimpanzee. When you go on walks with your chimpanzee, your chimpanzee, you're going to, that's what you're going to take with you. Do you remember me, Bubbles? Did you take my glove, Bubbles? Bubbles, do you have my $190,000 glove? Me too.
It looks so cute on your head, Bubbles. Give it back. Don't poop in it, Bubbles. Bubbles, did you poop in it? No, what? No, how am I supposed to watch, Bubbles? Right? 570-1949 is our number. How about this one? Where do you guys stand on people that aren't celebrities being famous? People that are related to celebrities being famous. Justin Bieber's mom just offered Playboy. Weird. Sienna? She was just offered to be in Playboy? Mm-hmm. Turned it down. Yeah, she turned it down. It's weird. Really, you think any mom is going to just say, okay, yeah, I'm going to do it because my 16-year-old son is famous. No, it's weird. Creepy. No, no, and no, Hugh Hefner. What's...
Where do you stand on that? Where do you think I stand on that? You love it. I think it's ridiculous. Oh, you do? I thought you were going to say 100% in. And not just Bieber's mom, but like Brody Jenner. Why is that guy famous? You know why? Because his dad was a freaking decathlete. So then he's famous. It makes no sense. Have some talent, pal. L-O-B? I can't stand it, but I think as long as we're willing to pay for magazines where you get to see pictures of celebrities, kids, moms, relatives, and reality TV shows. are trending to be the number one shows on TV. It's going to keep happening. Yeah, it is. And it's 100% true. Wait, so is Brody Jenner, is he related to the Kardashians now? Yes, that's their stepbrother. For those of you just tuning in, Lauren just woke up from a coma. She doesn't have a TV. She doesn't have a TV. Doesn't have a TV. She does work since Shakespeare in her apartment. I do. Yeah, she does. I write sonnets, okay? Yeah. I don't have time to watch American Idol. Spends her time writing sonnets, and so it takes up a lot of her time. It's got to be dynamic. Somebody's got to do it. Really? Get in line, pal. So, our boy Jay, our boy Jay was spending a little time in the hot tub with his wife this weekend. Oh, boy. Nude?
No, I had clothes on this time. Yeah, right. This time, you had four children at home. They were having a glass of wine. And, Jay, what happened? Okay, so I know I'm going to get lit up for this. So we're sitting in the hot tub, right? And it's pretty late. And over to the, I guess it's to the south, these triangles fly through the sky really super low, really slow. Woods already has his head down, eyes closed, big smile on his face, like, oh, my gosh, really? Like, this is my friend? Yeah. I'm telling you, it could be military, but it was flying the slowest and low and not a sound coming off of it. I've seen that kind of stuff. I believe you. I believe him. Yeah. And they just went across. Kim and I just both sat there, wide open mouth, just looking at each other like, did you just see that? And it was wine. It wasn't mushrooms. Mine this time. I've seen UFOs. I've seen UFOs. You have, Mike? Yes, I have. Really? Now, if the definition of a UFO is an unidentified flying object, then yes, I've seen UFOs. Because what I can tell you is that when I see an airplane, I usually know it's an airplane because it has lights that are blinking on the wings. Therefore, I conclude, oh, that's an airplane. Looks just like one. These don't have those distinguishing marks.
Really? Woods is giving me the greetings nerd. He's giving me the Vulcan sign for greetings. Droid. Go get a droid. Tell me that you're not talking about the video that you have on your YouTube. Of the ATVs. No, I'm not. Those aren't the UFOs you're referring to, are they? It was a short film that I made on YouTube. It was the first. Worst film I've ever seen. I've ever done. It's the best short film I've ever seen. But airplanes, too, they don't go up and down, you know? Yeah. And I've seen things fly. Helicopters do. Yeah, but what are helicopters doing? But they don't cover slowly and make no noise. Helicopters do. Silent ones. No, they go. They have silent helicopters. Yes, there are. Yeah, these were shaped like helicopters. And they were going so slow across the sky. I mean, they went slow, and then as soon as they kind of got past us, they just guarded, and there was not a light on it. I'll tell you what I saw. 2005, I was staying with my brother Steve in Phoenix, and... Staying with my brother Steve in Phoenix, I still smoked cigarettes. Four o'clock in the morning, woke up, wanted to blast a cig. Not a boy. Stop it. Not that a boy was. It's bad. So I went outside, and I was having a cigarette.
And way off in the horizon where the horizon meets the sky, I saw what I thought was an airplane because it was a single white light moving really fast towards where I was, my direction from south to north. Really, really fast. And if I had to gauge how high it was, it was as high as an airplane. So it was at least 30 to 40,000 feet up. And it's moving really fast, right? And as it gets over my head or about over my head, it goes and it stops like that. It doesn't slow down. It doesn't start moving slower. It went from full speed white light to stop. Over your head? Over my head. It stops. Oh, my gosh. And my jaw drops open. Oh, my gosh. I'd flip out. And I watch one light turn into two little lights and start spinning in the same place. It's spinning. It's rotating. And then it starts to ascend. No. Not descend. Ascend. It's going higher. And it's going that way until I can't see it anymore.
So that day, later in the day, I'm talking to my now wife, Rebecca, who at the time was my girlfriend. She was flying out for Thanksgiving to visit my family in Phoenix. I'm telling her about it and she's being patient and listening. And so the next morning I go outside to smoke a cigarette. By then she's there. She flew in that day and I see it again and I wake her up and I wake my mom up and I wake my niece up and they all come out. And when it starts doing the same thing again, my niece gets scared and goes inside. How did you wake them up? I woke them up and said, you guys, you guys, you guys, guys, guys, you guys, you guys, you guys, you guys. Come here, come here, come here, come here. Now, do I believe that this was a little green man going greetings? No, I don't. What I do think it is, though, is something that we're up to. Right. That's really cool and kind of creepy. Yeah. I saw it with my own two eyes. So did my wife. So did my mom. And so did my little scared niece. I've always been by myself. I've seen like twice. I can't recount it the best that you can. But same thing. I don't think that it's green men. I think it's some sort of secret society. But is it so far-fetched to think that there is something in this giant universe that could be?
Otherworldly Woods. Woods is being completely silent. I mean, I think it's almost naive to think that you've got this huge, expansive universe and we're the only intelligent life. How come we don't know for sure? Maybe they're smarter than us and they're evading us. Really? Why? Pretty sure they are smarter than us. We're like a parasite, probably. We've seen what they've done to that ozone and we're not sharing with them. Hey, listen. I'm smarter than an ant. I don't hide from it. Well, maybe they think we would take over their planet. Yeah, with our advanced technology. I don't think the ants are going to take... Well, they kind of have. We're bigger than them. Call exterminators. Woods, what do you make of my story? Because you're looking at me like I'm a cuckoo bird. What do you make of it? Be honest. I don't know. I mean, I don't know. Unidentified flying object is just that. It's an unidentified flying object. If I fly a kite with a light on it, that's an unidentified flying object. To you, because it's not identified by you. Unless I can identify it as a kite.
Unless you saw a beam shoot down to where you were standing and you start to feel something pull you up, that's a different story. No. I'm not saying I saw a little green man. A couple lights in the air, great. You can gauge distance. You can gauge distance. If it's 30,000 to 40,000 feet up and it's a single light. It's a long string, pal. Okay. All right. It's a long string. On the kite. With what, a candle on it? Yeah. Maybe. Yeah. Easy Benjamin Franklin. Yeah. There's a single light turned into two. Look, we all want to believe it. We all want to. Why would we want to, though? Because we want to. Because it's so cool. And we think that there's, I mean, we think there's aliens out there. We think there's UFOs that spin and all that fun little stuff that we've grown up believing and seeing. Military. Military. Could be military. Something. That's what I think. They're testing out a new... silent helicopter. You know what I mean? Intelligence. Intelligence. I think that that's probably it. NASA? Cool. I mean, whatever that thing was, was advanced. Well, and you were in Arizona, and a lot of, like, testing and stuff will happen in the desert. Mm-hmm. M1 Ulysses from Encinitas. Hey, guys. Well, go with me here. My new name would be M1 Lejeune, but anyway. Mm-hmm. There you go. Okay, here's where we go. Go with me here. Okay.
I don't think it's... The problem with an advanced being coming to Earth is not that there's probably millions of other advanced beings on other planets. And there's great shows you can watch online on documentaries about. You know, I think Stephen Hawking has one. He says there's probably millions of other beings as advanced as we are on Earth. Oh, we haven't seen him. I believe him. Yeah, well, here's the thing, though. It's the distances. traveling. You know, the closest star is 11 light years away, and light travels 186,000 miles a second. If we got telescopes to see into all that, how come we haven't seen one thing yet? Well, no, it's just more, I mean, there's a whole, people that beings could have, they could trap their star, you know, they could have a shell around it. I don't understand. I don't. I don't. Here's what I think it is. It's not, I think it's, what if it's advanced? It's humans millions of years in the future. Oh, yeah. That are basically observing their ancestors. Can I, Ulysses, listen, Ulysses. Uh-huh. Honest, honest cap. Lejeune. Honest cap. Yes. Have you smoked marijuana cigarettes this morning? No. Honest cap. No, Stephen Hawking. All right. Brilliant. I'm just asking. It's just a question. That's all. It's honest. It's an honest question. Nobody's judging.

The Lincoln Financial Radio Station. And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. The auto-tune stuff is great. You love it. Oh, I can't get enough of it. I think it sounds great in my ears. Lauren. Do you have coconut water? Wood. Dude, do you know that I've ripped sheets with my toenails before? Sienna. We're going to a nice place downtown La Jolla on Prospect. And Jay. Howdy ho, neighbor. On FM 94.9. Sienna, forget the music. Aerosmith crazy. M1 Alex, are you there? Yeah. M1 Alex from Vista. Go ahead. All right. So there is a theory where there is multiple dimensions in our universe. Yes. And because there are multiple dimensions, there is a possibility of multiple universes existing in the universe. So because of that, there could be, we could be in a universe where just we exist.
So I'm backing up Woods on that point. Okay. Okay. All right. I think. All right. No, no, you're not backing up Woods. Woods thinks it's all a bunch of baloney. I think you're backing up, Jay. But since Woods would be the only one that thinks we're the only ones that exist in the universe, like, so we could be the only ones in this universe and there could be a bunch of different beings in the other universe. All right. Thank you. Appreciate the phone call. I wonder what the Mikey show sounds like on Mars. Yeah. I don't know. I'm a host of the show. Now, I will say, if you've ever seen the movie Signs, scared the crap out of me. The crap out of me. I was like, wow, that could happen. That scared me to death. M. Night Shyamalan. Oh, my God. The last good movie he did? Yeah. I've never seen it. Mel Gibson. He's lost his... Have you not seen Signs? Oh, LLB. It is good. It's good. And you're right. It was the last good movie he did. It was. It was. His movies have been... I love his name. I like The Village. Is that what it's called? Oh, it's the worst. I want to hang myself. It was really great. I love it. Great. The previews made it seem like it was going to be awesome. So bad. Did you know that he used flour in that unleavened bread? Very exciting. I liked it. Get ready for the FM 94.9 Independence Jam Coastal Invasion 2010 presented by Miller Lite and Scion. This thing's big. Yeah. 30 bucks to get to go.
And it's Sunday, August 29th. Tickets on sale right now. Taking place at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater. Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros. Rogue Wave. The Wigs. Delta Spirit. It's going to be really good. They'll be whistling it up. Real good. Man, they better be all good when they're doing that. I wonder if any of them have a day where they just, you know, sometimes you do it. Whistle practice? I hope they let me cameo and do the whistles. That'd be great. That'd be awesome. I would do... anything to see. That would be pretty classic. I would definitely go into a studio and make sure that that's recorded. Yes. And they just pipe it in over the speakers. I don't want to mess up that whistle. You don't. So last night, yeah, last night was the 2010 BET Awards. Lauren. Did you? No. Salivating in front of your TV. Yes. Watched it. Watched it with no.
sound, all she needed was the visual. Pantsless. Weird. Weird woods. Weird. Inappropriate. Too far. So anyway, Chris Brown. Gosh. Big boo. Chris Brown beat up his girlfriend Rihanna the night of the Grammy Awards, was arrested, and that's how you know Chris Brown. But anyway, this was him presenting an award in honor of Michael Jackson. Oh, my gosh. He couldn't do it. Oh, my gosh. Oh, no. I don't buy it. You think he's faking it? Yeah. Yeah. 100% he's faking it. I can bleed. Is it one, two, three, all eyes on me? Yeah. He wants to show his softer side. Look, guys, I'm not as bad as you think. Is that man in the mirror? Yeah. That's why.
It's just touched in the words and lyrics. He's looking at the man in the mirror and he's realizing maybe don't beat the S out of women. I don't know why BET invited him to do anything. Because they think enough time has gone by. I don't think so. Shock value. He wasn't even allowed to go into, was it England? Somewhere in Europe. The band is bit. Sorry, but. I believe in forgiveness. I believe that since he has apologized for what he did, as long as he doesn't screw up again, I want to give him a chance. But of all the artists that could be showcased at the awards, why go for the guy who's still on probation, still not totally out of the woods? I'll tell you why with Chris Brown. Because it's the Michael Jackson influence with his music is so... Palpable. Yeah. Is it? I don't even know a single song by Chris Brown. That's it. Oh, there's a lot. Chris Brown. Run it. There's a lot of really. Usher. Usher? You think of Michael Jackson? What do you think of Usher? He was at the funeral all up for the family and everything. Chris Brown, though, I mean, before all this happened with Rihanna, I mean, he was huge. Really, really famous. Girls loved him. And that guy can dance like Michael Jackson level dance. He is good. And the music, you heard this Michael Jackson influence. You're like, oh, Michael Jackson. It's Diet Michael Jackson. Yeah. That's what it sounded like. Yeah.
Nobody can really do exactly what Michael did, but he was doing his... Woods can. I can. Besides Woods and Chris Brown, yeah. Woods has got the whole dance. Woods tried to... What do you mean tried? He tried and failed. I can moonwalk all up and down this night. Looked like a big Texan walking backwards. Is that right? Yeah. I don't know. I mean, you can try it again. Let's try it again. Shuffling. Shuffling. Take them off. You can't do it on the carpet. Oh, wow, Woods. Woods is walking backwards. Woods is... Woods! It's supposed to be smooth. Woods' wife Jamie is just shaking her head. That's a moonwalk. That's right. 100%. You can hear your feet on the carpet. It's like... Got a text that says, Mikey, please play the bromance song again. Yeah. Woods and Mikey are in love. Oh, wow. Is that how it goes? Yeah. I should have thrown that in there. Sienna sprung this song on us on Friday that she wrote. I had to do something. And had produced. And we're going to listen to it. And then after we listen to it, we're going to come back. We're going to take a phone call from somebody that wants to defend Chris Brown. Oh, wow. All right. So we'll take that phone call. But first, Sienna's work of art about me and Woods. You guys want to hold hands while you listen to this? Really? Do we?
Oh, this is hard to endure. You love it. Opposite Town. They're both guys. Opposite. One is brown and one is white. One is tall and one not quite. Every night they're poor wives. There's no way they understand why they're men. Why? Really? He won't smoke around you, Mike. Yeah, I will. Yeah, he does.
I hate that nickname. I hate little boots. Talk about Dallas. There's no doubt you aren't blue. The most humiliating. It's demeaning and humiliating and masculine. Oh, so accurate. It's masculine. I mean, there have been several occasions where Woods has come around the board and rubbed your back. One time. One time. No, one time too many. One time too many, yes. Sorry, we're dynamic. He checks on your little toes when they get hurt. Sorry, we're dynamic. Yeah, sitting over here trying to be dynamic. The Chris Brown supporter hung up. I don't know what happened. Please call back. Please call back. I'd love to roast you.
I'm not going to roast you. Listen, I think that what he did was deplorable. It was awful. But when somebody apologizes, you know, I have to. He deserves a second chance. I'm just saying there are so many people that could have been on stage. He does not. He beat that woman like a man. He beat her like a man. Well, Woods, it's awful. And he should be punished to the full extent of the law. He should be in prison. Hey, listen. She dropped the charges, I think. There can be. Zero debate. It's deplorable. Zero debate. It's awful. But when somebody, regardless, when somebody says, as long as it's within the guidelines of the law, you know what I mean? Like, who am I to judge this guy and go, I'm going to decide that even though you've apologized and you've admitted that what you did was wrong and that you want to make changes in your life, I'm still going to hold you accountable. And I'm still going to make you more accountable than I am for anything that I've ever done. Listen, he did his thing. He did his apology. You know what I mean? What am I going to do? Well, if you want to practice forgiveness, as long as the person is willing to admit that they were wrong and, like you said, want to make the improvements on themselves. You say, listen, you're a dirtbag the rest of your life. It doesn't matter what changes you make. What happens though? You get exiled? Yes.
Exactly. I mean, he is a dirt pack in 95% of everyone's eyes. And so his music, he tries to release new music, not coming out, not doing well. And then cries about it when nobody buys his record. What do you expect? He blew his chance. He shouldn't necessarily be like, people shouldn't necessarily be buying his records. He should be working at a Greyhound bus station for the rest of his life. M1 Whoopi wants to defend him. Oh, no way. Whoopi. I'm not defending his actions, but. I just, I'm really kind of sick and tired of people not allowing him. This is a 19-year-old. He was 19 when all this happened. Are you trying to tell me that a 19-year-old boy doesn't get a chance to better his life? Yeah, that's exactly. I mean, hey, listen, this is a, this is a, hey, wolves, I love you. This is a really, really personal thing for me who has seen some of this stuff. There's no forgiveness. None. When you beat the crap out of a woman, sorry, you're done. Hey, guess what? Me, I'm going to pull back the curtain a little bit. Been there. Yeah. Have been that person. And guess what? The person that did it to me has bettered his life. Now, personally for me, I don't know if I'll ever speak to him again. I don't wish him ill.
and it took some time to get there with that. But I would never want to say, oh, look what he did to me, and now I don't want him to be successful in his life. It's not about that. Here is a person who has made a mistake, a huge mistake. He's still in the process of rectifying the consequences of doing that mistake. He's never going to be the artist that he was before, only because... Mainstream media will not allow him to do so. That's just how it's going to be. He has to accept that. Thank you, Woobie. For this environment, and I'm sorry, half the people in the audience, L.O.B., is on probation. This is the BET award. That's kind of a good point. Woobie, thank you. We appreciate the phone call. Woobie can say that. Woobie can say that. You cannot say that. Well, none of us can say that. Thank you, Woobie. Bye, guys. We appreciate it. Again, I mean. I'm not saying that, you know, we should throw him to the wolves or anything. But in my book, that's just one thing that's unforgivable. And when you've seen it and when you grew up with some of it, sorry.
Sorry. Yeah. You know what he deserves? He deserves a bat to the back of his head. Listen, I haven't. 100%. I haven't. He's a man, and he beat that girl. He beat that little girl like a man. But you can say, I would never let him date my daughter, my sister, anything like that, but saying that the guy doesn't get a second chance at life. Oh, no, he'll have a second chance at life. He made a big mistake. I'm not saying kill him, but I'm saying maybe take a hand. I hope somebody has. Maybe take a hand. 5701949. What do we do a little? Let's do a little Name That Tune. Yeah. Do a little Name That Tune. I think we're going to have a good shot today. I am not. At what? Well, Jay said that today the music is, and call in 570-1949. You have a shot at what are the prizes today, Jay? Maybe he can't tell us because he's got something. I can tell you. We've got the Silver Suns pickup CD, Swoon, and a pair of Angel or Anarchy sunglasses. There you go.
570-1949. Call us right now if you want a shot at that. The way that it works is it's name that tune and myself, Sienna Woods, and L.O.B. play and we use our name as a buzzer. Woods. Yes. So, if you know the answer, if we know the answer, we just yell our name out and we give it. And we wait to be called on. We wait to be called on. Woods. We must be called on. Really? And once we're called on, we can give it. Woods, I think you and I have a good chance today because Jay said that the music today is... 80s and 90s rock, I think. Oh, great. See you guys later. You don't know any of that LLV? Don't check out yet. You can get it. You know that stuff. Do I? Don't you? Sienna. I know everything. Let's give it a shot. Now listeners are really going to want LLVNI. Maybe me and Sienna talk about Brazilian blowouts. Yeah, maybe do that. 570-1949. And Jay, are you ready to come in here and do this, or are you doing something? I'm ready. Let's do it. All right. So Jay comes in. He runs the controls, and we do it up real sweetly. Yeah, we do. Real sweetly. All right. I'm coming around to the other side of the board. Lower the mic for you, Mike. Mike is on in your studio, Jay. Yeah, let's do that. There you go. There you go. Ready? Let's do this. Let's make it right. All right. All right. Jay's at the controls.
Here we go. Maybe I am. Name is a buzzer. Let's begin. Okay, here we go. Woods. Puddle of mud. Dang it. Dang it. He's good, that kid. He is. Here we go. Woods. Shoot. Rage. We've got to deduct a point when we get them wrong. We all have zero now. Now we're all back to even. I'm going to continue playing from where we left off. Mikey. The end. Mikey. It's Mikey. So it's Mikey. Metallica. Yep. Very good. That took you a long time, Mikey, there. I know, but we just said that we have to be called on. Here we go. Mikey. Mikey. Green Day. Green Day. If you're the only one that says it, you don't have to be called on. Okay, cool. Mikey 2, the rest of us 0. Here we go. Mikey. What? Mikey. Linkin Park. Wow, Mike! Did he stab you? So far I've heard none of these songs in my life. Really? I know. Here we go. Oh, wow.
I don't know, but it's a jam. I like it. It is a jam. Mikey. Disturbed. Yep. Son of a... Wow. All I had to hear was... Somebody's running away with it today. Yeah, somebody is. Here we go. Number one hits. 2008, 2009. Rock. I thought it was 80s and 90s. About to run out of clip here. Don't know. Shinedown. Okay. He did say 2000. I got it wrong. I got it wrong. 2008, 2009. Don't say it if you don't know it, Mikey and Woods. Yeah, I didn't know. Okay, here we go. Lauren. Evanescence. Try to make it through my life in my way. Woods. Is it Seether? Dude, that's what I would have said. That's what I would have said. That's good. You guys rock. Go ahead, Stan. This is going to be the worst cast. Go ahead. Bush.
You just want to say something. They came by the station, the other station we worked at. On my show? No, I think it was just for the station. Are we having a dialogue? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Apocalyptica. Oh, man, I never got that. Cool. Mikey for the rest of us, all negative one. Perfect. Here we go. You're going to know this one. Damn. Sienna. Nickelback. What? Sienna's back to zero. Sienna's back to zero. That was kind of good. All right, here we go. That was some good music. That was for you, Todd. Oh, Woods. Alice in Chains. Oh, I was going to say that. I'm going to listen to it every day. Yeah, last one. Oh, great. Worth how many points? We're not playing that way because a kid doesn't like it. Oh, is that right?
What is that? Anybody? Woods breaking Benjamin. Nice game, guys. Mikey won. Mikey runs. Yeah, that was a really fun game. Lauren negative one, Woods one, Sienna zero, Mikey four. The host of the show's first victory. Yeah. Only took eight months. L.O.B., you killed it. Yeah, I know. L.O.B. was not big into the rock music scene. Nope. So we got to give her a break. M1, Big Guns from Oceanside. Hi. I was hoping you were a girl. Thank you, and congratulations to you, my friend. You've just won. Hang on, okay? There you go. I feel a little embarrassed about getting so excited about that Nickelback song. I mean, I got really excited. Why do you guys hate it? That is a jam!
You guys actually like Nickelback. Don't lie. You do. It's catchy. Oh, I'm saying. Lauren, do your Nickelback. I like it. It's the dumbest lyrics ever. There's only like one or two songs of that lyric. It's my favorite. It's so demeaning. We all just want to be big rock stars. What the heck is on Joey's head? I like the sound of that. It's just Nickelback. Then just wait until he sings. I think he's got a cool voice. That's just the dumbest lyrics. Yeah, I do. He's like the Toby Keith of rock and roll. That's exactly what he's like. I remember on American Idol, there was this kid that came out, and it was so sad. It was so sad. What was his name? I don't remember. I was just a kid. He came out, and...
The thing about American Idol in those beginning days is in the first days of every season is they're just showing the bad acts. The worst. And this kid was probably 17. And the worst part of it is what makes it the funniest part of it. And that is that in his mind, he was great. And he believed it. And he came out and he was going and he wasn't. I'm doing exactly what he was doing. He was going, I love to sing it. Some people get record labels for singing like that. Okay, but the difference is that one of them is forcing it, and the other one happens to have a voice where they can pretty naturally produce the... And he was doing the straining thing where he was really, you know, pushing it. Yeah. Anyhow. Oh, yes. Oh, look at Sienna. Is that Lionel Richie? That's a little Lionel Richie. Maybe you've heard, maybe you haven't. Al Gore is being accused by a woman from Oregon. She's a massage therapist of sexually assaulting her. And she read from a transcript that she gave to the police. We have the audio of it. It's pretty crazy what she's saying. Happy ending.

This is Bird from Dragon Eyewear with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report for this Monday morning, being brought to you by Guayaki Urubate, of course. Under overcast skies with a little bit of funky south wind, we're looking at a combination of swells on the decline. South-southwest energy out there is... And we've got a little bit of a west-northwest wind flow that's spitting out at the same time, too. Overall, surf running in that need-to-waste-high zone, maybe a few chest-high plus waves on average. Top spots still up to that southwest swell direction. Do see occasional shoulder-high plus waves, but those are in the minority. Coming off of a negative low tide this morning, also hurting size and shape. And now a little bit of a south wind texture on it as well. I kind of give it a miss for the morning to wait for the tide to fill in and see where it goes from there.

It's every guy at a wedding reception that's white and over 55. He's biting his upper lip. That's how you do it. Every time, if you get pictures from someone's wedding, there's a still picture of me dancing. I look so stiff and white. I hate it. Write that down. Write that down.
Oh, that's fantastic. That is fantastic. Perfect posture, just doing the white man's over. Real sweetly. Arms like this. Only you're a 29-year-old woman. Yeah. So you probably heard by now, but there's a woman accusing Al Gore. Now, does it make you wonder if this is why he's getting a divorce? Because this woman is accusing him of... No, this happened years ago. I know, but what I'm wondering, it happened in 06, and what I'm wondering is, is it like surfacing now? Yeah, it just, I mean, it just hit the media really last week. Do you think it's completely unrelated to him and Tipper getting a divorce? You never know. Or does it have something to do? I mean, how long were they married? 50 years? No. No, no, not 50 years. Sorry. 30. 30 years. 30. Yeah, I'm thinking way ahead. But a long time, long enough to where you would kind of need a huge wrench to be thrown to separate. Well, of course. Yeah, sure. Well, this is... You guys, no! Sorry, I'm so sorry. I got married when there were five. I don't know if I'm in front of me. Will you marry me? Okay. My bad. Okay, well, here's the thing. So she's a massage therapist from Portland, Oregon, probably dated...
Edward Cullen. He's in Washington. Rub my back, please. But anyway, she apparently gave a, she reported this back in 06 when it happened. Yeah. And she waited three months to report it and said that the reason that she didn't is because she didn't believe anybody would believe her if she did report it. And then she didn't show up. to the hearings. Yeah, there's been a lot of sketchy things that she hasn't done. She didn't report it. Drop charges, file charges, drop charges. Now she's, here it is again. We don't know why exactly she's picked now. Don't we? Yeah. Or maybe she's picked now because it... came out that they're getting a divorce. You know the best way for people not to believe you? Wait 90 days. Yeah. Yeah. Come on, man. I mean, what do you expect? Maybe she didn't want to take like the storm that would come her way. I'd be like, oh, really? But 90 days makes the difference. You know what I mean? It's tough for me because I'm a dude who knows if you're a girl.
You get, you know, sometimes you're like talking to different people. What should I do? What should I do? Maybe someone finally convinced her. And hey, this isn't right. What happened was he was in Oregon doing, you know, some conference or something. And right afterwards, he wanted a massage. So she was sent up to his room. In-room massage. Yeah. And so it was just the two of them in that room. And, you know, she says that he grabbed her hands and put them in places where he shouldn't have. Well, here's the thing. The audio is going to sound strange to you. The reason that it does is because she's reading her own transcript of what she said to police. Yeah. Here we go. Now, I suppose if at this point she found that to be not necessarily appropriate, I guess it still makes sense to me that she would go through with the massage because it's not overtly...
He's not grabbing her. He's not doing any of that. It's just something she finds a little inappropriate. Now, Heidi said his name was Big Daddy. You can call me Big Daddy or something like that. And then gave her the inappropriate hook. Yeah, you just don't expect Al Gore to be doing something like that. So here's more on it. When I began doing the requested abdominal work on him, he became somewhat vocal. With muffled moans, et cetera, he began demanding that I go lower and massaging on the abdominal area. I was shocked, and I did not massage beyond what is considered a safe non-sexual area of the abdomen. He further insisted and acted angry. Now, one thing I do want to say about it is that she's not just reading the transcript. The transcript as well. She's acting like and what I mean by that is one more time. He further insisted and acted angry, becoming verbally sharp and loud. I went into much deeper shock as I realized it appeared he was demanding sexual favors. Question. How come you're not out of there? Like, why don't I mean, if that is going on, I'm like, goodbye. Yeah. Maybe she's hoping that.
if she doesn't put the vibe back out to him, that he's going to stop it. Yeah. And all of a sudden go, wow, I just probably creeped her out really bad. Maybe I just chill out and get my massage. You're a massage therapist and a guy grabs your hand and he puts it there and he's like, and he's angrily saying. At this point, he hasn't done that. Yeah. He's just suggesting. She's rubbing right here and he's like, lower, lower. She's like, no. So she stopped here. That's above the area. But also she knows it's her word against. Al Gore's word. Right. And so if she walks out of there mid, you know, during the massage and is like, what is wrong with you? Then she has to go tell her boss what happened because he's going to be mad and probably call and say something. Well, a lot of massage therapists don't necessarily have a boss. Most massage therapists. It sounds like this is at a hotel. Yeah, but she was called to go to the hotel. Okay. That's what the report said. She said L&T business practice. Yes. That's licensed massage therapist. Okay. Okay. But I want to hear the end of that again. Someday I want to hear the end of that. Maybe I won't hear the end of that again. We won't hear the end of it again. Let's see. Oh, this is a very famous, now infamous line that she has said. He wrapped me in an inescapable embrace as I turned around. Giving this come hither look deep into my eyes and... I mean...
Here's the other thing. This is the other thing. This is an observation. Maybe he did all this stuff and if he did, I'm not making light of it. This sounds more like a romantic novel. It really does. He wrote in on a white steed and gave me the come hither look. It sounds like somebody's reading from one of those... dime store romance novel. I think she's just trying to provide every detail possible to let people know exactly the situation she was in. Because kind of when you give them more information, people will not think you're lying if you can prove details. Yeah. Probably. Come hithers. Come hithers. It's strange. But what about good evening? Good evening. I finally told him and said, you're being a crazed sex poodle, hoping that he'd realize how weird he was being, yet he persisted. Say again. She said that he was behaving like a crazed... Several times, and I finally told him and said, you're being a crazed sex poodle. How did we get that drop? You're being a crazed sex poodle. You're being a crazed sex poodle. I get that all the time. Yeah, exactly. That's a great band name.
Crazed sex poodle? Crazed sex poodle. Listen, if somebody's being a crazed sex poodle, you split. 94.9, the new crazed sex poodle. Yeah. Are poodles notorious for being random? Absolutely. Really? Are they? No, I don't know. It's like, wow, poodle. This is weird. The whole thing's just weird. It is bizarre. You hope it's not true, but man. Well, you hope it's not true, but you also go, honestly. Like, there's a whole big old bunch of stuff that he did, and I'm like, well, how come he didn't split? Right. Yeah, I think she's crazy. You do? Yeah, I don't believe it. He doesn't have time to get massages. He's that busy inventing the internet and inventing global warming and all that stuff. Yeah, Al Gore says he invented the internet, if he didn't know. He did. He created it in his garage. Oh, boy. That's what he says. That's what he says. That's what he claims. We got M1 Caesar from San Diego on the line. Are you there, Caesar? Yeah, yeah. Hey, what's going on? What's up, man? Nothing, nothing, nothing. You're on the air, dude. Oh, hey, hey. No, I was just calling to get your, I guess, your opinion or whatever. I was at a party over the weekend. It was a kid's party, right? Right. I was there with my wife. And then this lady was throwing the party. She's smoking. She was smoking the whole time throughout the whole party. You wrote an email about this, too.
I got your email about this this weekend. I was going to bring this up, too. Go ahead. Well, I mean, it was just weird. I mean, the lady just kept chain-smoking around the kids. She's giving out cake and stuff. Well, a cigarette in her mouth, you know, and eventually I just got frustrated and I just started yelling at the lady. He went to a party this weekend for a kid party, and this was a mother of, was it her place? Yeah. So it's her place, and she's throwing a party for a kid, and he goes to it and brings his kid, and she's smoking. Was it outside at least? No, it was inside, too. I was like, it was nice outside. I was like, well, at least let's go outside. But no, everything was inside, like in the basement and everything. It was like, it was just weird. Was this party in Kentucky? Yeah. A cigarette dangling as she's cutting birthday cake. Yeah, right. Yeah, I mean, you know what I mean? Yeah, it was just, I mean, I just thought it was gross. And, you know, I just didn't think it was right. You know, and again, you know, my kid there and everything. And it was just, I just, eventually I just started saying something. And she started saying something to me. So I started saying something to her even more.
Yeah, man. You have every right. I mean, I would have just taken a kid and left. Absolutely. I'm a smoker. I'm a smoker, and you don't do that. Yeah, thank you. Thank you. I mean, that was my point, but my wife got mad at me. Did you cause a scene? Yeah, you probably raised a little stink. That's probably why she was mad at you. Did you flip out? Well, I mean, I said something, you know, and the lady said something back, so then I said something back. I wouldn't give it anything to see that. If I said something, what do you mean? It was adults acting like little kids in front of little kids, you know what I mean? Yeah, I don't think that anybody thinks that's okay. No. Smoking in front of kids, indoors, no one thinks that that's okay. Like I said, I'm a smoker, and...
If there's one thing that makes me mad, well, there's a lot of things that make me mad, but one thing that really makes me mad is to drive down the highway, you see two kids in the back in car seats and mom blasting a cig driving with the window cracked. Yeah, gross. There's laws, I think, to prevent smoking when there's people under 18 in your car. I bet then that that may have been illegal to be doing it indoors in a basement. Yeah. You know what I mean? So a birthday cake. That's weird. Yeah. Like, that's weird. Dude, that's a creepy party, by the way. Yeah, get out of there. Come into the basement, try some cake. Who in San Diego goes, let's have a kid party in the basement? Maybe that's like the game room or something like that. Was it like a game room? Because there aren't even really very many basements in San Diego. I mean, I wouldn't say it was a game room, but yeah, it was furnished, stuff like that. A playroom. Yeah. Well, still, you don't smoke. Well, we got your back, man. I mean, I think, you know, I think you as a parent had every right to say something to them. And if you don't stand up and do it, then she'll do it again. Question for Woods. So what about outside around kids? As long as you're kind of away from them, I think you're okay. You do? Yeah. See, I say not even near kids outside. Really? Yeah. If I can smell it, I have an issue. I'm outside around the corner. Like, I was with you at Easter. I know.
I wasn't near your kids, though. Yeah, but still. Weren't you? You can smell it. We can all smell it. You can smell it when you drive down the street, man. I'm just saying. Kids in the area. So now I have to dig a hole and smoke in the hole? That's what I prefer. Woodsy, question. And thank you for the call, Cesar. I appreciate it. Hey, no problem. Thanks, man. People can call 570-1949. Question, Woodsy. Yo. What would you do if you're around the corner, you're smoking a cigarette over at my place, right? Mm-hmm. And little Jakey runs around the corner. I put the cigarette out. And he says, what do you do, Uncle Woods? I'd say I'm blasting a cig. I'll be with you in a minute. No. Wouldn't you say I'm doing something dirty or I'm doing something like that? Would that make you mad if he told you he was blasting a cig?
If he said that? Yeah. Well, that is what he's doing. I never want him to lie. I always want him to tell the truth. Look how cool I look, smoking a cigarette. Did you smoke too, Jake? Yeah, I'm leaning. I've got my leather pants on. I've got one boot against the wall. It's shirtless, just blasting a cig. But what about if you're somewhere like the fair? There's kids everywhere, and people are smoking, and you're all outside. Can you smoke at the fair? You can't smoke at the fair? No, I did. I'm just kidding. But I took myself way away from everybody. Where, Cleveland? I'm good about it. I try to be as good as I can about it because, hey, listen, I know it's a nuisance to people, but you know what? It's also an addictive substance, and if I don't have it, you don't want to be around me. You have snuff. Yeah, but it's not the same. After a meal, a snuff is not the same as a blast and a cig. There's a lot more out about secondhand smoke, but I remember growing up with, like, aunts and uncles just blasting cigs all the time, and I used to ask them, what are you doing? And they would say, I'm doing something disgusting that you better never do, too. Yeah, that you better never do. See, all that goes out the window when they're doing it. Yeah. That whole, I'm doing something bad. No, I thought it was disgusting. Yeah, well, I know, but you can't, like, when you say, I'm doing something awful, you should never do it. It's like... Okay. Well, then why are you doing it? Right. Yeah. So awful, why are you up to it?
I don't know. Why do people burp? That's disgusting. Yeah, but it's better than lying to the kid. And it's probably better than being, oh, I'm smoking a cig because then it is making it seem like it's cool. And burping, burping is something that you, you know, it's like a natural body. It's natural. I don't know. I just thought it was one of those gross things that adults did where I was like, you guys have at it, but no, not for me. I mean, I guess it's given the situation, it's probably the best you could say for sure. It's to say. It's a really bad habit. I wish I didn't do it. I'm addicted to it. Yeah. But see, I'd be lying. That's the truth. Because I don't wish that I didn't do it. I thought you wanted to quit. I wouldn't want you to say that. I love to smoke. You're crazy because you said you want to have the hypnotist in to help you quit. But I love to smoke. But you want to quit. But I love to smoke. Why do you want to quit then? Because I know that it's bad for me, but I love it. I don't think it's smoking that you love. I think it's just doing something like you need to constantly be chewing on something, doing something, touching something, bending something. I used to smoke and I liked it. I liked I liked doing it. I enjoyed it. And I mean, I think that that's why a lot of people start doing it. But I knew it was bad for me. Oh, you know, it's bad. And I am so I'm so glad that I don't smoke anymore because I knew it was really. Hey, it's a talk about a crutch. It's a crutch and you need it like you. There's no.
Oh, you can. I mean, you need it. It was harder for me to quit smoking cigarettes than it was for me to quit alcohol. There's no question, Mike. Mike, there's no question. And also the two go hand in hand. Yeah. You know, when did you stop, Mike, when you had kids? I stopped in 2005. So I stopped the year before Jake. And Rebecca too. Rebecca smoked since she was 14. Oh, and she loved it. She loved it. She smoked since she was 14 and she quit before Jake. When she found out she was pregnant with Jake, she quit. We'll be out to dinner. I always think about that. What happens when you're fully addicted and you're a woman and then you become pregnant? Because I never had any addiction problems like that. But like, I mean, how? Because you can't take certain drugs that most people can to help you get out of it. I know a woman that didn't quit. Oh. Made me. So upset. Can you do the nicotine patch and all that stuff when you're pregnant? I don't think you can. It's got to be cold turkey. Yeah, it has to overcome you. Whatever my physical addiction is, I have to power through it. That is amazing. Yeah, because otherwise you're going to have a kid, a baby, an infant born with an addiction that you can't fix. And maybe asthma or other health problems. That baby is born with that addiction and it can't.
You can't give the baby anything to make the baby... Yeah, you can't give it Nicorette in the bottle. You can't give it anything. Oh, I was fully addicted to coffee, and I just stopped completely the second I found out I was pregnant. Yeah. Nothing. Yeah. But cigarettes are worse. 5701949. So delicious. My mom wrote my dad a little poem, because she had my... They had my older brother and my older sister, and my older sister was a little baby. Uh-huh. Just pick up the butts, try and put them in her mouth. Really? Yeah, my mom wrote my dad a poem, like... It was like a five line poem about like. Haiku. Yeah. No, I don't know. It was like something about when you smoke and I hope that you don't choke and die of a stroke or something like that. He got the poem. He still has it in a frame. It's like written on a typewriter and he's like cold turkey. Really? Yeah. My grandfather, when my brother was born, they told him, if you don't quit smoking now, you will not see this little guy grow up. Really? I'm done. That was all it took. Yep. Three packs a day. That guy blasted. Yeah, I had to chew on pens. I do that anyway. What am I going to have to do? Lollipops. Yeah, power through it, man. It stinks. Yeah, Mike, he's going to love me on the air going, and then... You got your snuff. I didn't do it on the air. You had some cigarettes on the air. I did it off the air, and I did use the Nicorette. Let's try it all. I'm going to hypnotize you. I want to try the hypnotist. We'll do it. Don't make her make me do goofy stuff here. Yes, we will.
While you're in there. I'm going to come out talking like Lauren's imitation of me. I want cigarettes. Oh, have you clucked like a chicken? Yeah. All Mikey has to do is snap his finger and I go. Oh, that would be awesome. That was a good little chicken. I love that idea. That would be awesome. That's great. Be a cougar. 5701-949. Sienna's picking the music, Marley. So I have info on McNuggets. McNuggets? Who's McNuggets? You know I'm done, huh? I love them. They taste so good. They're delicious. Weird. I love to dip them in that little dipping sauce. Can we have a nugget eating contest, please? Please, please, please, please, please, please. They are good. Oh, my God. I don't care what it is. I like the way they taste. They taste delicious. I'll eat 30 nuggets. You can eat 30? I'm going to try. How many? 20 packs. I have written down several times, Woods, I can eat 20 pack of nuggets. I love it. No problem. It's so good. Yeah, that's awesome. I can eat 20 pack of nuggets. That's exactly what it is. You don't believe me, Maki? Identical. Line them up. Maki. Anyway, we'll give you this McNugget info next. Oh, and want to call in for some Woods of Wisdom? 570-1949 if you want to get Woods of Wisdom from our boy.

Don't give me those judging eyes. Yeah, he's giving Sienna judging eyes. Which American Idol contestant is this? This is a great song. Same one that sold 80 million records. The Dodger. Great. So did Liberace. He didn't sell 80 million. How many have you sold what? Four. I could see it in a movie trailer, so I'm in. Weird. Snobs over here. I know. Gosh. I bet that movie would star, let's see. What do you guys get with your judging guys? Miley Cyrus next to Channing Tatum. Oh, stop it. You know that Miley would have her own song. I bet it would start Gwyneth Paltrow.
It would be Romantic Comedy of the Year. Kate Hudson, Matthew McConaughey, I could see. The last movie they did together did real well. They did a movie together? A couple. Gold Rush. I was in Perfectville over there. Feels pretty good. How about you, L.O.B.? Nice. It's nice and warm. It is. It's perfect. Perfectville is up against the city limits of Judgingville. Yes, they are. Just Perfect Whistler over there? I'm the mayor of Perfectville. What do you want from me? Apparently. So, Sienna, what is the deal with these McNuggets? What should we know? Oh, boy. Well. You're going to mess it up for me. No, no. Nothing will mess it up for me. It won't mess it up for you. That's true. They are worse here in the United States than they are in other countries like Britain. Because in the U.S.,
Chicken McNuggets have 190 calories, 12 grams of fat for four pieces. That's why they taste so good. They're so good. Over in the UK, they have 170 calories, nine grams of fat for four pieces. I wonder what they're doing. So they're healthier. Who eats four pieces? How depressing is it that it's like 200 calories only for four of those little bites? Yeah. I can eat 20. That's what was so frustrating for me as a kid when I was trying to lose weight and, you know, mom would send me to the school dietician. Yeah. There's a such thing. Yeah, there was. Sit down, Mikey. Little chubbies like me. And mom would send me there. And they would say, well, tell me what you eat. And I would be absolutely humiliated to have to say what I ate. So I would always say it was less than what I ate. Mikey. That's why you keep a food journal. How did you say it? Mikey, how many McNuggets did you have? I think I have four. Mikey? Four plus? Plus? Four plus 12. Mikey? 100. And the thing is, is that every time the nutritionist would say,
Well, you just have this many instead. I remember in my head thinking, what's the point of eating them if you're only going to have five? But she's right. You can't. Well, there's a couple differences too in the McNuggets here and then the ones in the UK. Like in the United States, the McNuggets are coated and then cooked. And then it's the opposite there. Also here we have- Coated and then cooked. And then in the UK, they're cooked and then coated. So the McNuggets in Britain have less oil and less fat. Weird. How do you- I don't know. Fry them and then coat them. That doesn't make sense. How do you do that? That's what it says. Roll them around in breadcrumbs? After they come out of the fryer? Gross. I don't know. But also there's two different chemicals that they use in the ones here in the U.S. Delicious and delicious. Yeah. Well, one of the chemicals they also use in Silly Putty. It's an anti-foaming agent. Anti-foaming agent. And the other one is a petroleum-based product. Oh, my gosh. Doesn't it just seem... Is it going to stop you guys from eating them? No. Of course not. No, no. I haven't had a chicken nugget in like 20 years anyway. Weird. Maybe you get one and you'll thank us. Nope. Let's do this. Come on. You can call us at 570-1949. Woods gives advice. Yeah, he can fix them. Woods had. Woods had. Holding out advice for free.
I sing this all the time. Yeah. First email to Wood says, Woodsy, I've been dating a girl for about a month. I really liked her in the beginning and now I am bored to tears. Welcome to my life. LLB, you get bored of people? Oh my gosh, yes. Okay. So it says, now I'm bored to tears. The problem is, all along, I've been telling her how into her I am. Now it's going to be a shock if I just break up with her. What do I do? M1 Wadsworth. Easy. Wadsworth. Stop calling her. Do the fizzle out. Yeah, you fizzle her out, pal. Fizzle her out. You're going to turn her into a psycho. That's okay. She's probably going to get there anyway. Oh, stop. It's in a gene. Yeah, it's inborn. So she's his girlfriend. They're dating a month. Yeah. A month. Maybe they haven't gone to the GF status. You just fizzle her out, bro.
You just fade away. Fizzle her out. Just to dance yourself out of trouble. Fade away. Hey, I'm really busy. I'm working a lot. I don't know when I can see you. And then just stop returning calls and texts. Easy solution. That's so mean. What do you do? What, LLB? Because she does the same thing. That's what you do? It was my move until I met this one sitting behind me. Yeah. You even did it to her a few times, maybe. But that's your bad because you guys are the ones that are getting tired of them. You said she's not really doing anything wrong. You're just tired of her. And then you're going to make her think that it's her bad. It is her bad. For the record. Because it's boring. For the record. Stop. For the record, Jamie just looked at Woodsy and mouthed, did you? Did you? Our next email to Woodsy says, and you can call if you have a question for him. You know, answer questions on dating or dude stuff or whatever. Sure. This one says, Woodsy. How do you cure homesickness? I just moved here from Oklahoma for a job in biotech. I miss home so bad and have no idea where to go, what to do. Mikey's show has been amazing for me because I feel like I know you guys. I'm on makeshift. Dude, let me ask you guys how you cure it because I've been getting homesick lately. And I think having my family in this weekend really helps. I had some buddies in. That really helped.
This is a pretty good place to get over homesickness because it's pretty wonderful here and just a lot of fun. But I was really homesick yesterday when I woke up. Really, really bad. I mean, I saw some old buddies, my little crew back in Dallas, and Jamie's pretty homesick too. All her girlfriends get together all the time without her. And, man, we just lean on each other. That's what we do. We lean on each other. And if you don't have a significant other or some good friends here, man, you just got to kind of. You got to fight through it because it's going to get better. And surfing and stuff has really helped me a lot. Being out on the beach, stuff you can't do in Oklahoma, get really into that stuff. And try to remember that homesickness essentially is a familiarity. Absolutely, man. That's what homesickness is. It's familiarity. And so if you consider that your new surroundings will very quickly become familiar, in fact, more familiar every day, it'll help you to make that. Yeah. And you know, like we, what we're not used to is just, it's the little things. Like yesterday we woke up, we wanted donuts and we were like, man, two minutes away from our house is the best donuts. Now we're 15 miles away. We drive and get donuts and it's like the familiar, the food and, and you know, the smells and everything that you're used to, you don't have anymore. So you got to create new memories. And you have to, you have to become used to the new normal. You have to.
Yeah, plus if you fly home and visit where you used to live and you're like, I never want to go back here again. And that helps, man. I mean, go to Dallas or Oklahoma right now. It's 105 degrees. You're like, all right, let's go back to Chicago. 570-1949 if you have a comment or a question. Or you can text us 949mikey at gmail.com. I'd like to add that in addition to familiarizing yourself with like. know what Balboa Park is, know what La Jolla Cove, make that feel like home to you. But San Diego is so full of transplants. You can find, I'm sure there's an Oklahoma bar out there. I used to go to Plum Crazy. It's an Eagles bar down in Pacific Beach. And I was like, man. And I met people that were from the area I was from that could relate to things. And so there's pretty much something for everyone. I'm sure there's plenty of Texas barbecue, stuff like that that you can find to make you feel at home. I mean, without you guys, without Jamie, and without my baseball team, I mean, dude, I'd be a wreck. I'd be a wreck.
Because I've moved away so many times from Dallas, I always go back. But now I don't really want to go back. I love it here. This email says, Woodsy, I have a first date with a girl the Friday before the 4th of July, which is this Friday. It says, we're going to a casual place, but I have a lot of leeway in what I can wear. Can you tell me your go-to look? I'm on tightrope. My go-to look? Yeah. Go-to. Go-to. Never fails. Yeah. Never fails. What do you do? Suit no tie. Suit no tie? Suit no tie. Never. It never fails. What if they're just going to like PB Bar and Grill? Well, he said it was casual, but he has leeway. Yeah. Now, if you go to PB Bar and Grill, you don't have leeway. You don't have that leeway. You don't have leeway. You're probably in shorts and a tee, right? You kind of have to. But if you've got, if you're going to like, if I had a first date and we were going to go to just some little Italian restaurant, what's the place we like? We like it.
What's that place we like? What is that place that you recommended? What's our little spot? What's our Italian... Where did we go on our anniversary, Mike? Would you set them up to give us this? Hey, you put it on a tee, what are they going to do? I'm going to knock it out of the park. That's right. Every single day. What is that place you recommended? Via Italia. Via Italia, and it's in Encinitas. It's on Encinitas on the 101. It's so good. It's so good. And if I was going there, which is a casual... Kill that music, Jay, for crying out loud. You're in Southern California. It's acceptable to wear shorts and a t-shirt almost anywhere you go. Yeah. But it's your first date. You don't want to look like a schlep. Right. If you're going to a nice, semi-nice place, suit, no tie. Never fails. Suit, no tie. Sharp. Sharp. I have an opinion. What? Lauren is laughing. I'm just saying I'm a single girl. Yeah. If we went somewhere casual and the guy had, I'd be like, whoa. Take it easy. Easy there. We're not at the office. What would you suggest, Lauren? Potato sack? No, maybe, like, I would think, like, just, like, khakis and a nice shirt or something. But the suit, maybe the suit pants and a nice shirt. Khakis, are you going out with my dad? What's that? You going out with my dad? No, I like khakis, dickies. I even think nice jeans. Like, every guy has a nice pair of jeans. That with a little button-up and some nice shoes. Call it a day. Perfect. You don't even need the nice shoes. M1 Matt from Mira Mesa wants to help this guy out, too. You there, Matt? Yeah. Go ahead.
San Diego local, and I lived in Wichita for a couple of years. Oh, sorry. While my wife and son in high school stayed in San Diego. And it hurt. I mean, you know, there were no beaches. There were no mountains. I couldn't see anything but the end of the earth off of the side of Wichita. And, you know, out there it was churches and bars. Yep. And I went to both a lot. I just got back from Wichita, man. I will concur. It's always a matter. It's just time. You know, that's the thing that cures homesickness is just time. It's time and it's friends, man. I mean, again, like I said, without you guys in my baseball team, I'd be a wreck. And my wife, obviously. But, you know, if we didn't have all those things in our lives, like you guys and all the stuff that we do together, minus L.O.B., then I would be miserable. L.O.B. just gave you a look like, you're really going to do that to me right here. Maybe if I got a call. Maybe I'd have the option. You can only call somebody so many times and get rejected. Can't you? I am about to launch like a rocket. I'm going through the roof. How many minutes do you have on your phone? Mine's a cricket phone. Oh, okay. This is me and this is all of us texting L.O.B. L.O.B. We're doing a da-da-da-da-da. Nope. Text her. We get together. Nope. How many times does that happen?
Yeah, but I didn't get a call on Saturday or a text or anything. Woods said so many times in the studio. You were there. Let's all do something Saturday. Let's go surfing. Beach day, beach day, beach day, beach day, beach day. I showed up Saturday morning at his house. No text, nothing. How'd you know what time to come? He told me on Friday. Never heard it. If only I got an invitation, I'd be there, guys. Never heard it. Just an invitation. You were at the Bro-Am, too. I knew you were going to the Bro-Am. M1, Dane from Vista. Dane, are you there? Yeah, how's it going, Mikey? Good, dude. You got a question for Woods? Yes, I do. Woods, I could use some advice or any kind of, like, opinion on this. Right now, I'm single. I'm 20 years old, and right now it's the summer, and I got this gig right now working pools full-time. Yep. But my question is, I'm trying to make sure I have a good future for myself. I've already lost my dad when I was little. I've already lost my mom, so I'm trying to... make a good life for myself in the future. And right now I want to, I want to go back to school full time for, for college. But my, my question is, I don't want to go back for time and, you know, try to get like a two year, four year degree and take a long time doing it. I'd like to go full time, but the job I have right now, it's like, I could be working anywhere between like 30 to 60 hours a week. And there's some days where it takes a big toll on my body. And I'm almost thinking sometimes like, is there a balance between the both of these? Can I make
both of these work or should I find a job that's like a little bit easier so I could focus on school more? Like, I don't know. Well, I'll tell you, man, I think in my opinion, um, in my very humble opinion, uh, I worked through college to grant. I didn't pay for my own school, but I worked while I was in college and I had some pretty wacky hours, man. I mean, I would work till three in the morning, then get up for an eight o'clock class. Um, but The old saying is where there's a will, there's a way. And, I mean, obviously school for you sounds like priority number one. I would find something that lets you accomplish that dream before I would worry so much about work. You know what I mean? Does that make sense? I mean, I think that getting your education, if that's really what you want to do and you see that as your future. You've got to do it at all costs, man. And, you know, you've got to sacrifice a couple of things to maybe get it done. I just need to figure out, like, the money situation. Yeah. Because it's not like in the past where, oh, mom, I ran out of money. My paycheck's coming this Friday. Just give me that $20 that gets me by on gas, and then I can make it and get my check. Like, I'm dealing with no parents right now. I'll tell you what, bro. That, to be honest with you, I would literally.
Take a day off. Go into some college. And you know what I did, man? I got my associates first. And I really focused really hard on getting my associates. And after I got that two years done, then I focused on the last two years of my degree. And I went to two different schools. Actually, I went to four different schools. But the only ones I got credit for were two. So I just busted my ass the last four years. And that's what I had to do. I would go check into some financial aid and stuff, too, because it's readily available. Yeah, there's some scholarships available, too. Yeah, there's a lot of scholarships out there. Outside the studio right now, I can see through the window, I see EBW pointing at her watch. She's beating on the door. Yeah. It's Eskimo Blue Water. She's a local musician. Hi, Eskimo. Eskimo is a local musician who we love here at the show. She wears a cowboy hat, dark glasses when she comes in, layered necklaces. Yeah. Blue jeans. Are we going to have time to do this, or is L.O.B. going to give me the break sign? No, L.O.B. is not going to give you the break sign. I'm positive. Even if she does, Eskimo, this is your time, and you know that. What about Captain Isbell over there? No, Captain Isbell, our producer, is not going to get you off the radio. Captain Isbell. And as you know, this is your time. After all, you've paid for this infomercial. You've paid the radio station for the infomercial. It's called trade in my book.
She likes to come on, promote her gigs locally. She's a musician slash ventriloquist. Why did you do air quotes when you said gigs? Well, because Woods. Because I don't have any gigs currently. That's what he's talking about. No, what I'm saying is that she said one time she was playing the House of Blues. In actuality, she was outside of the House of Blues with her guitar case open up. That's a gig. On the sidewalk. On the sidewalk. Did I play music? Don't you need to get paid for a gig, though? I got. tips that night. Yes, and you didn't have enough tips to cover your parking. You ended up having to pay for parking that night. So, EBW, if I grabbed that guitar over there and I played right now, would that be a gig? Yeah, that's a great gig. That's a great gig. That's on air. Primetime. That would be a gig. So, EBW, you're probably here because you want to promote this weekend's gigs. No, I actually don't. I don't have any gigs. Okay, yeah. Line up. But I'm trying to get into some new stuff. So I thought maybe this would be the perfect audience. You guys. Can I just ask you, EBW? EBW, let me just ask you. You know, will there come a point where you say, you know, I've given show business. Oh, yeah. It's best shot. What if Michael Jordan said that? Right. That's right. He got put on Junior Varsity. Right. What if he gave up?
He wouldn't have made it to the Bulls. Right. You know what I mean? He would have never made it to the pros. Don't tell her to give up. I'm not. I'm asking. What did Jimmy Belvano say? Never give up. Never give up. Winston Churchill, something like that. What if he gave up, right? Don't give up. I have an idea, though. I have an idea. What? Don't give me the hard T. Yeah, not the hard T. I will hard T you right out the door. That's what she said. Now, a lot of the greats have focused their brain on one thing. One area. One thing. Well, all of the greats. All of the greats. All of the greats. Now, when Ron Artest comes out with a rap album, it doesn't make sense. You know what I mean? It just doesn't fit. You reek of cloves. You've been smoking cloves. That's not true, though. Think about, okay, who's your boy? Bad Blake. Bad Blake. He can act. He can sing. Played guitar and sing. He didn't act. He didn't act. Not Bad Blake, but not Jeff Daniels. Jeff Bridges. No, that's not Jeff Daniels. That's not Jeff Daniels. Jeff Bridges, the actor. I mean Jeff Bridges. He can sing. He can act.
Yeah. You know what he focused on? Acting. And because of the acting, once he got wildly successful, then he's like, hey, you're going to have to listen to me now because I'm a wildly successful actor. How old are you? How old are you, Eskimo? That's an inappropriate question. That's an inappropriate question. 28. And I've got a lot going on. 34. I've got a lot going on in this noggin. Creatively. I'm at 34. Yeah, I should not. Only old men are 34. That's right. Fair enough. Anyway, I've got a lot going on in this noggin. What's going on? What are you going to do? Well, I was in the parking lot of the comedy store when L.O.B. did her thing. Yeah, for stand-up. She seemed to do pretty well with that gig, so I thought maybe, you know, maybe I'm in the wrong racket. No, no, no. Stand-up comedy is not something everybody can do. You have to focus on it. You can't take it lightly. I've been writing since last Tuesday. Wow. You've been writing since last Tuesday. Is Chris Rock over there? No, actually, my stuff is really clean. Do you guys want to hear it? Of course I do.
You might be a redneck. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. That's Jeff Foxworthy. First of all, you said you might be a redneck. Already, you're ripping someone off completely. That's not even. Okay, you could possibly be a redneck if you think possum is the other white meat. Okay, that's, see, that is. Just blatant plagiarism. You're not even trying to change it in any way. You have just ripped off... She said it's possible. Instead of Mike. Mike, this one's for you. I think you're going to like this. Let's hear it. You could possibly be a redneck if you think Taco Bell is a Mexican phone company. Mikey. Oh my gosh. These are really funny. You are a moron. I mean, are you kidding me with this? These might have been on the Jeff Foxworthy website. I've never even heard of Jeff Foxworthy. I don't have a computer or a TV. All right. Well, listen, I don't think that's going to work for you. I don't. You're going to get sued. All right. Okay. I got a couple more tricks up my sleeve. Go ahead. Magician. How about I lead the crowd with a little yodel?
What does that mean? You can't just throw that in there like that. The three of you in a crowd. Uh-huh. And then I'm going to lead you guys. You're going to yodel? You're going to yodel. Yeah. Wait, wait, wait. Where is there a call for that in show business right now? There should be. Who doesn't like yodeling? Your girl, Jewel, she was a yodeler. She was? She was. Yep. I thought you didn't know who she was. I did some research last time after you guys showed all that stuff I did. I went to the microfiche. You did. You went down to the library. There was an article about her. Yeah. Well, I think she yodeled when she was little. Yeah. Well, you can start any time because it's pretty interesting how I got into yodeling. How's that? Well, I responded to an ad on Craigslist for modeling, but it was a typo. So you thought you were going to modeling. To a modeling thing, but it was a yodeling thing. Yeah, and I'd already spent the bus fare. Okay. Give it a shot. Yeah, you know what? I thought I was going to be a model, but I'll be a yodel. I'm dying to hear this. Let's hear it. Let's hear it. Okay, ready? Yep. Water? Jay? Bring your own. Drink this spit cup, I guess. Go ahead. You're late. You're late. You're late. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. What are you doing? God awful. Mikey, we need to go to break.
I don't care. I need to hear that yodel one more time. Really? Yes. You like it? Yes. Okay, ready? Yep. Oh, my God. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I'm sorry. I've got to be honest with you. Okay, I've got to be honest with you. Oh, my. She's so mad. You know, a yodeler stand-up comic with dark glasses on. The Dreamcatcher earrings. And a cowboy hat with a feather in it. Cowboy hat with a feather in it. It's really... I don't know that that all... Ripping off Jeff Fox. And yodeling. Are you ready for the kicker, Mike? Please. Yes. I knew you weren't going to like that. What? The yodeling. Yeah? Because I'm psychic. Oh, my God. I am. I'm totally psychic. Really? Yeah. And my chiropractor, Helga, she's a palm reader. Is she? As well. And she told me that I had... The gift. Oh, really? Oh, wow. Really? Yeah. Maybe this is going to be your big shot. Tell us something. This could be it. Tell us something. What do you know? Well, anyway, let me see. Let me try and let me do Sienna's palm. Okay. Oh, really? That's good. That's good. Do my palm. I get it. I'm just going to read your palm, Sienna. Why don't you be original for once? Here's my palm. Why don't I be original? That makes sense. What do you see? I'm sensing.
You're not supposed to sense when you read poems. You're supposed to read. Yeah, I'm reading. It's not called palm sensing. I'm still getting the lingo down. Go ahead. I am reading that she's going to have a kid in her future. There's going to be kids in your future. She's eight months pregnant. Oh, wow. The defense stands. The defense stands, by the way. Ladies and gentlemen, that's our girl. Unbelievable. It's real hard to tell that one. Eskimo Blue Water. Thank you. Don't forget to tip your waitress. Yeah, we appreciate it. Don't quit your day job. She doesn't have one, Woods. She doesn't have it. She's got 40. Rub it in. She's yodeling, reading poems, playing guitar. Here, rub it in. Well, I've got to put my boyfriend dad through clown school. So somebody's going to do it. Let's go. Do you know how much clown school is these days to pay that tuition for Tad? You wouldn't believe it. Next time you come in, will you tell us about Tad? Absolutely. It's a good pick. It's a good pick. Counting crows around here. That guy dated Jennifer Aniston. And Courtney Cox. Did he really? When I bought this CD, I was in...
fourth grade. I was in college. What fourth grader listens to this is what I want to know. A really deep one. A really deep fourth grader. Around here, this is always on my mind. My mom was probably like, what is going on? Around here in La Hoya, we only eat cereal made of diamonds. Now, Sienna in the fourth grade. Around here, I scratch my dad's Bentley. Is that the words in the Kanye sense? He gonna make it out of the Datsun? Let's see. Okay, so, Sienna, tell me the signs that us guys are supposed to look for. That means we're about to get dumped. Her friends are not as friendly to you as they used to be. Oh, yeah. That's a good sign. I'm used to that. You are? Friends don't like you? No. Jamie's friends? No. Jamie's smiling like, what's not right? Jamie, did your friends not like Woodsy? Do they? She says they love him. Kyrish, all those girls, they loved you, didn't they? Come on. They didn't? No. Why do you think they don't love you? Because I'm deterred sometimes. Because maybe he's up to no good. No. They just don't like me. I don't gel well with everyone, if you guys didn't know that. Sometimes it takes a while for the guy to warm up to the girls, you know? Yeah. But in this case, if they've always been nice, now they're like, give me the cold shoulder. About 10 years? Thinks about that long? I don't think so. So be careful of that. Like, you would notice if Rebecca's friends, if you guys were just dating, were all of a sudden not nice to you. Yes. Like, what's going on?
Yeah. She ups her weekly workouts. Yep. Go to the gym again. Yep. Nope. Can't hang out. Go to the gym. Really? Go to the gym again. What if she's just going through, like, she's about to turn 30 and she's like, I just want to look good. She's a data black guy. Well, the gym is kind of like an excuse. Sounds like a very specific girl that's about to turn 30. Sounds like a very specific girl. And by about two, six months. I'll be a spring chicken for a little while longer. Yeah, you got six months. How are you going to be the month of your birthday? This is going to be a wreck. Are you going to be a mess? My birthday is the second day of the month. So, but the first day I'll cry. You guys just leave me alone. Second day I'll cry harder. LLB for real, do you care you're turning 30? You do? Oh yeah. You do? Come on. I'm staying away. LLB looks young though. I know she does, but I'm staying away. From her that week. I'm just going to celebrate my second 29th year. Oh, boy. What's your problem? If people mistake you all the time for somebody that was 40 or something, I get it. Like me? Yeah, me. You are 40. Dude, I have my brother's birth date tattooed on my arm, okay? And it says 11-21-57, all right? Because he's 51. People all the time. Is that your birth date? Really? They don't do the math. People, my sister is three years older than me.
All the time. This is the new bit. Who's the younger one? Oh. Which one's older? Oh, boy. And when I went with her, she looked so good after she had her baby. I went with her to one of her pediatrician appointments. Got this question three times. Which one of you had the baby? Oh, please. Wow. You look like you did not. Really with that? LLB is better than her going, oh. So you're expecting. Yeah. When you're not. You are both tiny girls. Like me. I get that one all the time. I think they thought I was expecting. We were a couple. When's your baby do? What else? How else do we know we're about to get dumped? She gives you the little pat on the back. Like when she goes in for the hug, you get the pat on the back. The pat is deadly. Why did you look at your wife? Because we will yell at each other, don't pat me. Do not pat me. You hug me, you don't pat me. The pat is deadly. We pat each other all the time. Do you? No, you couldn't for the hug. The pat is very friendly. Yeah, you're about to get filleted. Well, I've been about to get filleted for about 20-some odd years.
It is patronizing. It's patronizing. Well, I always signify, if I'm going to hug someone of the opposite sex and I want to let them know that this is just a friendly hug, I always tap it out at the end. Yeah. And I tap him on the back. And you pat him on the back. Oh, my God. He's such a creep. She stops criticizing you. Like, say she's always giving you a hard time because you leave the toilet seat up or something. Like, if that stops, she's over you. What if she's gotten used to it? This is not for me. You're just saying. Makes sense. No, but I mean, I kind of agree with that. If there's something that she's always picking at you about and then she just stops one day. You know what else is a sign you're about to get dumped? What? She's on her fourth date with a new guy. That's another sign. You're about to get dumped. She's not very into your alone time sessions. You know, normally she's really into it. Now she's, oh, yeah. Okay, hurry up. You know how else you know? If you're getting the STV. You know what the STV is? Straight to voicemail. Oh, the STV will slay you. Except that that was the wrong letters, Mike, isn't it? No, that's right. STVM. No, voicemail's one word. It is? Yeah. Straight to voicemail's bad news. Especially if you never got straight to voicemail. Oh, yeah. You start getting straight to voicemail, it's a bad sign. How mad do we get at our significant others, though? Send me straight to voicemail. How mad do we get at our fellow show members when we get the straight to voicemail?
I only, who do we get that with? I never do that. Do we get it with LLBRC? I never send anyone straight to voicemail. I hardly ever answer. What about the two ring decline? What? No. I just, okay, I turn this sound off on my phone and I don't have it on me all the time. It's always on vibrate, my phone. Who's the hardest to get a hold of on the show? Whatever. Everybody's pointing at L.A.B. Everybody's pointing at L.A.B. I didn't point at L.A.B. I can see her walking through Whole Foods. Okay? I call her to, like, ask her about lines or something, and she's like, crap. I'm going to call this idiot back when I leave. I can see her running on the beach backwards. And her phone rings. Five to 10% of the time when I decline a phone call, I actually see it and it's bad timing. I'm in the store. I don't like to just talk on my phone when I'm with other people or in the store. Most of the time, I just don't have it. We must always call you when you're in the store. You must be in the store a lot. A lot. I'm going to come to your house for dinner. But she also goes with her, you know, she watches her niece a lot. I do a lot. And you got to turn your phone off if you're around a baby. Woods, I think we're about to be dumped by L.O.B. I think 100%. She's giving us all the signs.
Just leave a voicemail. I'll call you back. I don't do voicemails. What else? All right. I feel alive. Radio history on the way. Oh, boy. This has never been done before. It's never been done. When Jay suggested this bit, I looked at him like he was a madman. What did he say? Hear me out. Yeah, he goes, hear me out on this. He suggested this. He goes, hear me out. Let me finish. He goes, I think we should play radio charades. And my jaw dropped open. Like, really? How does that work? How does that work, Jay? And I was like, maybe Jay doesn't know what the word charades means. Yeah. We all know charades. You know, you have to act out what something is, like the title of a movie. Yeah. I feel so very alive right now. Without words. My heart is racing. Now, I'll tell you this. In order that it even made it on the radio.
I had to close my eyes. We all did. We did. It's a true story. We were in my living room, and I closed my eyes. So did I. And they did it. They all did it. First of all, I had to learn how charades was even played. Yeah. It's when, you know, someone gives you the title of a movie, and you have to act it out with no words to try to get others to guess what it is. And the rule of the two words, first word, you would go... Number two. Number one. Didn't know what it meant. They want peace. Peace. Peace. Two slices. Woodsy would hold up three fingers. I had no idea what that meant. I didn't either. So it means three words. Yeah. Right. So, you know, however many words are in the title, they'll hold up his fingers. It was so fun. This is when I said, this is our job. Yeah, this is what we do. Yeah, it was fun. We played for like 45 minutes. Yeah, we did. Like just all of us. We're like, let's do another one because we don't quite have it yet. Let's do one more. Wizards was our actor every time except for Sienna did it one time. And he was like out of breath because we kept being like, dance monkey. Yeah. That's so great. 570-1949. Call us right now if you want to play Radio Charades. It is movies. All right. It's just movies. It's just movies. So I don't have to give you this. Nope.
Old movie projector reel. I do not know what it is. I don't know what the movie is. You don't know what that means? No, no, no. I don't know what the movie is, and I'm going to try to describe it to you, the caller. We have sunglasses. Do we have any of those CDs left? Yes, we do. The Silver Sun pickups, Swoon. Yep. So if you want a Silver Sun pickups CD and sunglasses, call us right now, 570-1949. You're going to play Radio Charades. Woods is going to act it out. I'm going to... I'm going to be your eyes. And they can make radio history by playing this game for the first time. So Woods will be dancing around the room like a weirdo. And Mikey's going to be describing his every move. And Mikey does not know what the movie is. He doesn't know the movie. He's just like the rest of us. Lauren and I don't know either. Okay, before we get started, what if by accident you say one of the words? Is that okay? Do I point at you and then you let them know? You repeat. That's one of the words. I'll say that's one of the words. Okay, thank you. Want to get all of our rules down before we get started because we do not like to make up rules as we go. No. Don't we? In fact, that makes me a little bit bad. In fact, somebody may spin out. Yeah. M1 Mimi, are you there? Mike should just be describing the action. Yeah, I'm just the eyes. Mimi, are you there? Yes, I am. Okay, I'm going to be your eyes in radio charades, okay? Okay. All right, so take your headphones off so he can tell you what's up. So Jay is now whispering to Woodsy what the movie is.
Telling him what the movie is. I do not know. He's got it. You got it? All right. Here we go. I'm going to be your eyes, Mimi. Do we? Oh, wait. Question. One question that I don't. What's up? Is there a time limit or anything like that? Oh, yeah. We do have a time limit. Yes. He's got 60 seconds to figure it out. 60 seconds. Okay. Just going for one? Just one. Just one. All right. Here we go. Just one. This is for Mimi. Okay. Here we go. Go, Woods. Two words. Woodsy is pointing at his knee and holding up the number nine. He's holding up nine, pointing to his knee, his leg. He's holding up nine fingers. Nine fingers. That's not nine. That's seven. Eight. Nine. That's nine. That's nine. That's nine. No, that's eight. It's eight. Woods is now getting down. He's acting like a little spider crawling up the wall. Spider. Spider's one of the words. Spider's one of the words. He's pointing to his chest. He's pointing to me, me, me, me, me. Give me, me. He's smiling, jumping up and down. He's motioning to himself. He's saying, not you, not you, not you, me. Not Sienna. Woods. Not Sienna. Woods. Woods. Spider-Man? Yes! Yes! You got it!
10 seconds to go. Wow. Mike, were you fighting not to guess? Oh, no. That's why I said not Sienna because he's like, not you. What is out of breath? Look at the guys all worked out. I'm holding up eight for 45 seconds. Mikey's going, he's got nine fingers up. He's got nine fingers. You were holding nine in a weird way. You were going like this. Mikey, I was not. I was doing that. I saw eight. That's a weird way. I saw eight the entire time. How do you guys do eight? That's what he did. No, he's going like this. I don't know why. Mimi, you won. Hang on the line. That was phenomenal. Hang on the line, Mimi. M1 Ryan, are you there? Yeah. Okay. You ready to play radio charades? Yeah, this is the most amazing concert I've ever heard. It's a trip, dude. It's a trip. I'm telling you, when we did it, I was convinced there's no way. And then as we started doing it, I was like, this is actually kind of fun. Okay, go ahead. Tell them the word. Take your headphones off. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're going to do it again. Different movie. It's a movie. I do not know what the movie is. You got it? Oh, Woods looks like it's hard. Let me stick with the easier ones. I'm a dummy trying to recreate this for you. All you have to do is just say what he's doing. Yeah, I got to say what you're doing. I'm going to be your eyes, Ryan. Here we go.
Three words. Four words. Four. Fourth word. Fourth word. Ring. Ring. Lord of the Rings. Yes! Wow! That was great, dude. Ring was the only clue you could work with. Yeah, I was about to do this. That was so great. So great. Hang on. That is good. Let the girls try one. Do we have enough prizes, or are we okay with prizes? Yeah, we're okay with prizes. My heart's going to explode. You want to try L.O.B.? Sure. All right. L.O.B. is going to give it a shot. Let me get somebody on the line. M1, Chris, are you there? Yes, sir. All right, Chris. L.O.B. is going to be your eyes, okay? I'm going to be your eyes. L.O.B. is going to be the one pantomiming, so however good she is at describing it to me. All right, here we go. Here we go. Oh, wow. Okay, are we ready? Yep, you got 60 seconds beginning now. Two words. Oh, she's confused. She's looking around. She's looking around. Where is it? Oh, I think I found something. I picked up a piece of paper. Yep, that's it. I found something. I found something. Second word. Fish. It's a fish. It's a fish. There's a fish swimming. There's a fish swimming. There's a fish. Gone fishing? Nope, that's not it. Orange. Orange. Orange.
Is the color orange? It's a fish. Orange fish. Swimming. It's found. Oh, now she's found something. She's found something. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. She's found. It's a second word. There it is. It's this orange fish. Orange fish. Oh, Finding Nemo. Yes! You got it. Oh, my gosh. You have five seconds for me. Oh, my gosh. Dude. You only had five seconds left. That was so hard. And you did it, dude. You did it. Hang on the line. First time, I'm convinced, first time ever in radio history that radio charades have ever been attempted. And it was successful. Three for three, dude. That's the creepiest part about it. That was great. Sienna's picking the music today. Little Zac Brown band. Toes. That was good stuff. You care about the ex-cons being compared to Jason Bourne? I'll tell you about him in a little while.

No, they're all still really good friends. They really are, actually.
There's five people on the Mikey show, myself, Woods, L-O-B, Sienna, and Jay. Woods always applauds himself when I say his name. Say my name, say my name. Really? That's it? I got nothing for that? It's because we're trying to ignore it. It's pretty funny. It scared me a little bit. Did it? You scare easily, don't you? Well, I do. Hey, listen. It was You Ain't Gonna Ban My Peanuts. It wasn't that. You Ain't Gonna Ban My Peanuts was terrifying. It's called You Better Not Ban My Peanuts. You better not. You better not. Should I wake Dave up and see if he wants to jam it one time? Go ahead. Makes me really nervous whenever someone says the title. It's the new hot single from Dave Matthews. I defy anybody to get it out of their head all day. It's my ringtone, as a matter of fact. I defy you to get this out of your head the rest of today. It's going to scare you. If you have young kids in the car. Yeah, we don't. Earmuffs. Dave Matthews does not want the airlines to get rid of peanuts due to allergies.
It ends so abruptly. I know. It does. It starts pretty abruptly, too. It does end very abruptly. It's one beautiful chord. It really is. E minor. It's so beautiful. It's all you need. But your mic, you can play it. Mm-hmm. That's right. What can you play? You better not ban my peanuts, but play it really softly. Yeah. Dave actually mentioned that to me. Just an E minor? Yeah, just an E minor. I know that chord. Ah! That is good. That's the unplugged version. That is gorgeous. Thank you. Really gorgeous. Go back to bed now. Thank you. You heard it here first on the Mikey Show. That's right. Probably last, too. Just want to let people know. Wow. Greatest graphic design guy in the world is our boy, Jared. He is good. The best. He does our website, and you can have him by going to that website. The ex-con that's being compared to Jason Bourne. Why? This guy lives in L.A. His name is Brian Aleksic. And this happened back in April when authorities got the call about a mysterious gas odor that was coming from this really nice apartment complex. When they showed up, the door was barricaded. There was... Weapons everywhere, loaded weapons everywhere, including AK-47s that were sitting next to a mosaic depicting of the CIA seal. They found equipment for counterfeiting money. High-powered binoculars were trained on the U.S. Federal Reserve building next door. I mean, just crazy, crazy stuff. And it took weeks to find this guy. They finally found him. He was hiding at his girlfriend's house, like, right down the road. But I guess they've never seen.
the type of intelligence that this guy has, just this regular guy. So they don't know, you know, does this guy work alone? Is he part of like this big group? Who is this guy? Is he just a nerd? Yeah, I mean, I don't know, but they're saying, you know. Could be that he's just nerdy and he's just, he's into that. He has like Jason Bourne type tendencies and sophistication. Really? Yeah. Wow. I've never seen those movies. Dude, really? They're good. Everyone tells me. Mike. Everybody. The first two are phenomenal. Phenomenal. How many are there? Three. Oh. Yeah, everybody says they're great. I want my wife to watch The Book of Eli with me so bad. I want you to watch Dumb and Dumber with me so bad. Yeah. Weird. But I have to watch the movie Valentine's Day with her before she'll watch Book of Eli. Enjoy. You've already seen it. That's what I told her. Tell her you've got to wait until next Valentine's Day to watch it. That's a great idea. Hey, that's your Valentine's Day present. There you go, honey. We'll buy you some time. Two birds. We'll watch a year-old movie. We have him now. Where's Jay Bird? Where's Jay? Where did he go? Did he have to go potty? We may have this guy now. I did not expect this. I'll have to wait and see. Well, here he comes. Jay. Hi, Jay. Come here. Do we have him now? But he's today? Mm-hmm. That's fine. We can do this today. Man, is this interesting stuff. Is this who I think it is? Yeah, dude. Holy cow. I told Woodsy about this. If you've ever seen the movie Midnight Express. Oh, man.
You talk about a chilling movie. Chilling. The subject matter of the movie is the guy is trying to smuggle hashish and is arrested on the tarmac. I mean, you'll never forget this scene. They pull his shirt up, and he's got all of this hash taped around his torso with, like, masking tape. And he's got all of these automatic weapons pointed at him. And it's the authorities. And it's based on a true story. It's based on the life of a man that we have on the phone right now named Billy Hayes. Billy, are you there? Billy, hello. Hello. How are you? I'm here, and I'm not being arrested at the tarmac. No, you are not. No, you are not. Job well done. That's right. The program is called Locked Up Abroad, The Real Midnight Express.
And it appears it's going to premiere at 10 o'clock Eastern and Pacific on the National Geographic Channel tonight. Is that right? Tonight? Wednesday night. Yes. Wednesday night. Yeah. Wednesday night. OK. And hey, listen, this is one of the most fascinating stories ever. How close did they get to capturing what really happened, Billy? Well. When I first got back, I wrote the book Midnight Express, and I was limited in what I could say legally when I came back because of the book. And then Oliver Stone wrote the screenplay, and they did the movie Midnight Express, which made some major changes in my story, and some of which I understood for various reasons about a film, and some I'm not so happy about and really weren't valid to my situation. When the National Geographic Channel called and said, listen, we'd like to do your story on Locked Up Abroad. And I'd seen the Locked Up Abroad episodes. I know they did a good job. It was a chance to tell the full story in my own words. So I was very happy to do this. What did they change? What did not happen? What were you unhappy about? The escape in the movie was a total afterthought. I actually escaped off an island in a rowboat in a storm and spent three days running through Turkey and dyeing my hair and swimming a river into Greece. Made for Hollywood.
And they didn't do it in the movie, which I was amazed at. When Alan Parker, the director, who did such a great job, I asked him about it. He said, Billy, what 45 minutes of this film do you want to cut out to put in your real escape? The audiences have enough. Get them out of the bloody theater. And he may well have been right. But I missed the escape. So to be able to tell the escape to locked up and have them recreate my escape, I was very happy to do this. Because you escaped from this Turkish prison. Right. Are we giving away too much if we talk about that and how you did it? No, I don't think so. I don't think so at all. What did you do? I actually escaped off an island. I got transferred out of the Istanbul prison where I had been for almost four and a half years. I was scheduled to go free in 54 days, and then the sentence got changed to a life in prison. Pretty much it was like my whole world turned over. Then I got transferred to the island prison, Imrali Island prison, where it was...
Easier to escape from just because they considered the sea to be a wall around the island and so on. So I was able to get off the island and row to the mainland and then run through Turkey for three days and dye my hair and get to the Greek border. I knew that once I got into Greece, I would be free. Again, smuggling marijuana. Hash is marijuana. It's the same plant, just different processing and different... They use the oil as opposed to, but it's marijuana. So for smuggling pot and spending five years in jail, I knew the Greeks would never send me back to Turkey. I needed to get to Greece to make the escape work. Who were you smuggling the hashish for? For all of my friends. Everybody I know smoked pot back then. And I figured a friend of mine had actually come back from Istanbul, and he had a couple of little plaques of hash in his money belt. Really good hash, and he said it was cheap, it was easy, and nobody searched you getting on an airplane back then. So I knew that I was clever enough to pull all this off. I did this. I did it three times prior to getting arrested. So I thought I was James Bond, international man of intrigue, and I really believed it. That's how stupid I was. We're talking to Billy Hayes, the real guy.
From the movie Midnight Express. He's the guy that the movie is based on. What I didn't do, of course, was take responsibility for myself and my actions. If Locked Up Abroad does nothing else, I have a lot of friends who force their teenage kids to watch Locked Up Abroad because, you know, it teaches you a valuable lesson of don't do something this stupid and get arrested in a foreign country. That's the tale. My message, of course, is do what you like and know what you're doing. Knowing what you're doing means take responsibility for your actions, which I didn't do because everyone around you is affected by your actions, in particular the people who love you. And in my case, you know, it was sex, drugs, rock and roll. It was the 60s. It was easy. I was clever. And I wasn't thinking at all about what the consequences of my actions might be until suddenly, bang, I was busted. I was in prison and I realized. Now I have to deal with the fact that my parents are going to suffer every day. I can't even talk about it. I can't believe this. 40 years later, my mom is going to suffer every night because her son's in prison somewhere. That just tore my heart out. How long did it take for your parents to find that you'd been arrested? When I was arrested, the first day I was locked up, the American Council sent a representative to the little...
place where they were holding me and i had to write a letter home to my parents oh my goodness so they were notified by the mail yeah and that was the hardest thing i've ever done in my life oh my goodness to them and that continued every day for five years my parents suffered so you know again not thinking about anybody but myself which is what i was doing led to the fact that everybody i know all the people who love me suffered along with me and that that was by far the hardest part of prison in 1970 billy was an american college student uh who was trying to smuggle hashish back to uh america was arrested and spent years four years in a turkish prison now and escaped and um billy okay so my question next is in the movie they depict you being arrested on the tarmac did that really happen that way very accurate um both in the film midnight express and in the locked up abroad episode they got the arrest down pretty well that's exactly how it happened talk to me about talk to me about the moments that somebody puts their hand on your shoulder. Is that how it happened? Somebody put their hand on your shoulder? How were you tap, tap, tapped? It's very accurate. I was trying to slide by. They were searching people. They didn't have, again, the PLO had just hijacked the first of the jets, blown them up in the desert, started all the security that's now so prevalent at all airports. Prior to that, nobody searched you getting on an airplane. They didn't even care. You could have a chicken under your arms. Nobody had even noticed.
But they started searching people at the airport, and out I come, exactly the wrong place at the wrong time, with all this hash taped under my arms and around my waist. And I had a bulky sweater on. I'm kind of skinny, so it kind of didn't look very obvious. And they were searching people looking for bombs. And here they find me, and they hit this hard plaques under my arms. And the cop, I could see it in his eyes. He's thinking terrorist, explosive, you know. He's got C4 under his arms or something. He freaked out and pulled out his gun and started screaming, bomb, bomb, and all the soldiers put their rifles down, and all the tourists dropped to the ground, and I've got my arms in the air, think I'm going to be shot. When the cops slowly lifted my sweater up, it took him an instant to realize what it was, but when he realized it was hash and not plastic explosive, he was thrilled. He was so excited and relieved, and all the soldiers were relieved, and I wasn't so relieved because of the beginning of a very long five years. But I'll tell you what, when they were lifting up that sweater, your heart must have been racing like nothing. Yes, it was. Oh, my God. Well, you know, just prior to him actually doing that, I had my foot up in the air. I tried to slide by the searching at the airport. I had my foot in the air. I was about to step on the boarding ramp of the plane when his hand grabbed my shoulder. And I knew, again, it sounds so dramatic, but I knew it right then. My life was hanging in the balance.
And it's really true because literally my whole life is everything before and after that moment of getting arrested at the airport. Amazing. Hey, Billy, why did they change your sentence to life? Originally, I'd gotten a four-year and two-month sentence for possession. Right. But Richard Nixon, it was the beginning of the war on drugs, and Nixon was pressuring all these foreign countries to increase their drug laws. And essentially, the people who took the brunt of it were fools like me. Wow. Wow. Unbelievable. So your sentence got sent to life in prison. I had the four-year, two-month sentence just 54 days prior to going free. They changed it to a life sentence, which the same judge who originally sentenced me, his prerogative was to lower the life sentence to 30 years, which he did. Thank you, I guess, but life, 30 years, it's all the same for me. Once you made it into Greece, how long was it until you touched U.S. soil? I swam across the Maritas River into Greece, and then I was wandering in this really hilly, wooded border area. And again, very highly patrolled because the two countries have been enemies for a thousand years now. And when the Greeks found me, I was wandering through the woods, and they actually found me coming out of a totally restricted military zone. They locked me up in a little room in the woods for about 12 days, which is the time it took them to...
really figure out what to do with me. But again, I knew that they'd never send me back to Turkey. And they didn't. No, I mean, I could do 12 days standing on my head after five years. And they treated me well. And they actually deported me as a bad influence upon the youth of Greece, which is the same charge they gave Socrates. But they didn't make me drink any hemlock. So I'm very thankful for the Greeks for sending me back. You're smarter than I am because that reference went right over my head. You've never been so happy to be deported in your life. It really is. And then I got back to New York and at Kennedy Airport, literally, I stepped off the airplane into a press conference with 100 reporters. You know, Billy, Billy, what's it feel like to be home? I don't know. I just got here. I haven't met my mother yet. That never stopped for three years between a book and then the movie Midnight Express. And eventually we got. to the Cannes Film Festival in 1978, which is where Midnight premiered, and where, of all places, I met the woman who is still my wife today. So it all led me to her, as I tell her. Hey, thanks a lot. We really appreciate the time, Billy, and we will be watching this program, which comes on Wednesday night, and it's Locked Up Abroad, the real Midnight Express. Thank you so much for being on The Mikey Show. Thank you. We appreciate it. This was the original trailer for the movie Midnight Express.
A more exciting film, says Rona Barrett. Rex Reed called it a colossal triumph. Months before its release, it stunned and overwhelmed a special preview audience. I will take like a half an hour to get out of bed and be like, no. Woods. I drive fast. I smoke. I'm at the radio on. I'm on my phone. Sienna. I love sharks. And Jay. Of course, I have an outrageous story. On FM 94.9. Woods just drops.
Moments before we're about to go on the air, Woods goes. You didn't know I almost joined the Navy? Like, no! How would anyone ever guess that? You almost joined the Navy, Woods? I thought nobody tells the kid what to do. That's right, I know. So we were just talking about Midnight Express, and I was telling you guys what I watched this weekend. And then it jogged in my memory the biggest move. I never made. Hold on to that. Okay, I will hold on to that. I want to know. First, I want to let people know why the six-year-old little girl from Ohio was put on the no-fly list. Little Alyssa Thomas. Yeah. Little angel. Yeah, six years old. Her family's leaving Cleveland to go to Minneapolis. They go up to Continental to the gates to get their tickets. And the woman who works there says, I'm sorry, your daughter can't. Can't get on this plane. She's on the no-fly list. And they were like, our six-year-old daughter? Yeah. How could this be? Are you talking about me? Yeah, I guess.
They made an exception and they let her on the flight so that the family could go on this trip. But they called the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Cleveland, confirmed that, yes, she is on this list. They won't say why. And still, they don't know why. You know, the family's looking into it and stuff. But the parents say she's been traveling since she was a little girl. Just a few months ago, they went on a family vacation and there was no questioning. Wow. So they're thinking there has to be some confusion and some other woman with the same name. Right. There was a mix up. Yeah. So still, they don't know why. This is actually a clip of that little girl talking to her pet. Oh, no. Bubbles. Bubbles. Yes. Hi, Bubbles. She's a six-year-old. She's standing in line waiting to give her ticket to the lady. Talking to her pet. I haven't seen you in ages, Bubbles. Excuse me, little girl. Do you remember me? No, you can't come on board. Bubbles? You can't. You're not allowed. Sorry. You're on the no-fly list. You're six, you can't. Do you, Bubbles? You're six, but you're a terrorist, and we know it. Yes, you're not coming on the plane. So you're going to turn around, you're going to hightail it right out of here, you little terrorist. Bubbles? Yeah. Mikey? Bubbles? Yes? Get out. Can I fly? Stop it. Mikey? You're scaring me. Oh, my goodness. You remember me, Mikey? I don't. Okay, I do. I do. I do. Just to stop you, I do. No, please. Freaking me out. Woods? I can't believe this.
All people. I can make a list of all the people that I would think would join the military. You're last on the list. Taking orders real sweetly. Real sweetly. How did you almost join the Navy? All right. I love the sign. So I had not had a really successful first year of college. And by really not successful, I mean I went to school for a year and had no credit. Oh, wow. Wow. Yeah, it was bad. How old are you? I'm 18. Oh, wow. So while I was home one time for college, I had my first run in with the authorities. Oh. And I was arrested for reckless conduct. What? So I was living at home. I was kind of a deadbeat. Not kind of. I was a deadbeat. Drinking a lot. Kind of going out with the dudes that didn't go to school. Partying with them. Going out every night.
My parents were like, all right, dude, you're not going to live here anymore if you're going to keep being an a-hole living here like this. You're being a jerk. I fought with them all the time. So, you know, I want to show them, I'm going to go join the Navy. Could you even join the Navy with a reckless? Well, so here's the deal. There was a Navy office, and it was right down the street from where Jamie and I lived. It was Harwood, right down there. So I walked down, literally walked there. Walked in and was like, I'm here. I'm ready to join the Navy. The Navy. My grandfather was in the Navy. I was like, I'm doing it. I want to get out of here. Go pay for college. I had the whole bit, man. I was like psyching myself up. And I'll never forget it, man. Walking in there and looking around. And I was like, okay, I can do this. I'm going to do this. And I sat down, started visiting with the guy. He was excited. I mean, I was a sharp guy, you know, personable. We had a great talk. He's like, well, fill out this paperwork. So I start filling out the paperwork. And it says, have you ever, I think it's, you know, have you ever been arrested or convicted of a misdemeanor or felony? I was like, oh, I should tell you this now that, you know, I was arrested for reckless conduct. I'm currently on probation. Everything's cool. I paid the fines. I'm doing my classes. I'm almost done. And he's like, sorry, pal. Wow. Wow. So I said, thanks for your time. Do the paperwork in the garbage. Went home and.
Try to figure out what I was going to do with the rest of my life. Your life would be way different if you were in the Navy. I think about that day. I think about that day all the time. Now, I got in a lot of trouble after that. Probably would have been a really good thing for me. Probably would have. Not probably. It would have been a really good thing for me. But. I'm really glad at the way my life turned out. Yeah. And I wouldn't trade any of it for anything. Yeah. Because it made me the dynamic person that I am today. Well, it's just that whole butterfly effect thing. Yeah. You change one thing, you might not be with Jamie, you might not be on the show. I mean, there's no question. They probably would have thrown me off of a boat somewhere for being insubordinate. Shark bait. Yeah, shark bait. Throw him in the water as chum. Pretty crazy, dude. You ever have any of that, dude? Like a... One of those really close. Almost happened thing. Almost. Life changes totally. You know, I ended up doing radio, but I could have been in radio a couple of years earlier, but I showed up late. Five minutes late. Yep, that was right. And the guy gave you $20. Gave me $20 and said, sorry, this job isn't for you because you showed up five minutes late. That's unbelievable. Yeah. I almost said no to the My Key show. Yeah, you did. How close were you really to saying no? Pretty close. How close?
Well, I had already had my plan for the next six months planned out. I was going to move to L.A. and hit the comedy circuit, try and do like Second City, Groundlings, improv, all that. And it took me a while to get to that conclusion. So when he called me, it was like, first I thought it was a bit. Yeah, she didn't believe it. She thought it was a bit. And then I was like, well, I just already have this plan. And if I don't go, I'll just. I'll never go. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, blah, blah, blah. Mm-hmm. But. Here I am. Yeah, that's right. Sounds stoked about it. It took a while to get L.O.B. on board. From Jay Leno on Friday. And a 29-year-old woman burst her windpipe at the World Cup after blowing too hard on one of those horns and burst her windpipe. Good! Thank you! Wow, how bad would that hurt? Oh, my gosh. Well, and Sienna, what did she do? She just blew... Too hard on the stupid thing? Yeah, she was blowing too much and too hard on the boo-boo. Boo-boo-zella? Yeah. The boo-boo-boo. 29 years old, this woman, and she eventually went to the doctor. She thought it was going to go away. She woke up in the morning, and it was even worse. Her voice, she couldn't talk, nothing. And so she went to the doctor. They said, look, you're going to need to not speak or eat anything for two days. What? She couldn't eat anything for two days, and she got better, but yeah. Torture. Ripped her windpipe. Yeah. Maybe I ripped my windpipe.
so I can only eat for two days. Vuvuzela's the worst. We don't have to hear it anymore because we're out of the World Cup. I promise you. The noise that goes on forever The sound that they make is just wrong Vuvuzela Africans together So I decided to write them this song Please put Put your horns where the sun don't shine. Let's bring that phrase back. Where the sun don't shine. Let's bring that back. Hey, pal. You can stick that where the sun don't shine. You can stick that where the sun don't shine. How do you know the sun doesn't shine there? You don't know what I'm up to. Are they talking about San Diego? Yeah. We're talking about Black's Beach? Then you're wrong. Where the sun don't shine.
Did you guys hear about the amputee cat that got bionic feet? I did. I did. How wonderful is that? It's happy, but it's also really sad. This cat was in an accident, a traumatic accident, and there's been some groundbreaking surgery. Now there's little pigs. Probably $9,000. How much? Listen, by the way, we'll do that as a topic one day. What's the most you've spent on your animal? I actually had it on my notes for today. Sure you did. What are you talking about? Every time. Every time. We'll go. One of us will say, oh, my gosh, I had a great idea, blah, blah, blah. Woods goes, oh, yeah. I have that written down. Yeah, I have that written down. I was going to say that today. You guys missed the boat. Yes, well, there has been custom-made implants that... peg the ankles of this kitty Oscar's little feet that mimic the way that he would normally walk with those legs. And it took months, and the cat, the little picture, they're so tiny, the little pegs. I would do that for my dogs. Oh, yeah. It's better than wheels. How much, Woods? How high would you be willing to go for Sonny? $10,000? $10,000, whatever. No, you would not. Really? What would you spend for Jake? Oh, my God.
What would you spend for Jake? Anything. Okay, done. There's your answer. There's your answer. All right. Alone? You get a loan? Would you get a loan? Yeah, you would. You should get pet insurance. Yeah, we've thought about it. I've thought about it, too. It's expensive. But for us, it'll cost us $7,000 a month. Wow. With all of our animals. Not really, but a lot. She's like, wow. Get a family plan. I guess. Group plan. Group coverage. What would you spend for Jake, Ryan, or Luke? Any amount. There you go. Haven't you ever seen those dogs that are in, like, the little doggy wheelchairs? I bet that's not expensive. They have wheels. They have surgery. You know, and they wheel. It makes me really upset when people go and walk them in the wheelchair. It's like, let him heal first. I hate that. Wow. One of my dogs, maybe not, after this weekend. Oh, no. Because he's very upset with one of his dogs. Very upset. It was Mr. Beans? No, Senior Beans never does anything wrong. Who was it? My big black dog shooter ripped my door. Ripped the door jam completely off. Ate most of the sheetrock in my garage. Why? I don't know. We don't know. We're like furious. He's mad. He didn't want to be locked up. You need to get one of those dog psychics that'll come over and like communicate. Like how Caesar would do. Yeah, he says, I spent some time with a dog. Shooter. Shooter.
And he said that he would like to spend more time with you as a family. Because not enough time, he says, is together. So I would say you should take a special trip, just you and him. Yeah, I was about to take a special trip with him out to the woods. We were going to reenact a movie. We were going to reenact Old Yeller this weekend. I've never been so... I've never seen... This one more mad either. Jamie's in here. Yes. Jamie was mad. Oh, dude, we were like, you... I know it. We were so mad. Do you guys favor the little ones over the big one? I mean, probably. Probably means yes. The big one, I think the big one knows. Yeah, the big one knows. When I was over there, I was trying to give him special attention. Everybody does. My dad gives him special attention. He's still a giant pea. But that's the deal. Like, we definitely favor at my parents' house one of the other dogs more, you know. But... It's hard. I think he's sad. When we walked in our... He had wood chips and sheetrock all over his face, in his mouth. We walked in, I was like, oh my God. He's trying to communicate with you. He doesn't want to be locked up in the garage. Well, guess what he gets now? A big, giant kennel that he's going to be locked in forever. You would never put one of those little doggies in a kennel. Not one of the little dogs. Don't you have a yard? That is so... I said...
You take my debit card, spend, if it's $2,000, buy the biggest kennel you can find. Poor Shooter. And put it in the garage. It's because he's black. It's because Shooter is black. That's not right. You know why? Well, I'll tell you why. We did that at our house in Bedford. You should have seen the door that little P freaked out and ate. The screen. Ripped that off. He ate both door jams off that. It was like a $5,000 door. You should put him outside and build like a fence to where he can't get near the house. I'm going to put him outside. Tied to a tree in the middle of Poway. We can make an easy run for that dog. Huh? Let's make a run for him. Let's do it. See you Saturday. Sienna, what are these 10 ways to find more pleasure every day? Really? I mean, is it going to be anything groundbreaking? It could be. It could be. Please. Well, one of them. Play that song you love so much and repeat it a few times if it makes you feel happy. I do that. Party in the USA. Yeah, I've already done it. Worn that song out. I'm back on another Miley song. Don't buy boxed sets of DVDs. Oh, I love boxed sets. If you don't buy boxed sets, that'll add more pleasure to it. Well, I can see that because you get crazy. Well, they say if you receive 18 DVDs in one package, you'll use...
up the buzz all at once. I do that so much. Okay. Keep your child's baby shoes in your desk at work. Aww. Really? I'm not making these up. Maybe that's a cool idea. Yeah. Why don't you wear them on a chain around your neck? Then you'd see them all the time. You'd see Flava Flav. Yeah, but like if your boss was being a jerk or something, you'd go sit down at your desk and... Aww. It seems so Sally. Hold up their little boots. Yeah. It seems so Sally, but then at the same time you think about it, you're like, could you really, how could you see your little kid's little feet and not be happy? Maybe put a picture of them on your desk. I don't know. Everybody has that though. Something physical. Yeah, and it's really subtle and you only see it when you're like going to get your extra staples. Yeah. All little boots. So emasculating. Yes. What's Mikey doing? He's over there looking at. Ryan's little shoes. Why is he doing that? He's sad. Because he's sad. That's why. Because he's dragging them on. I'm going to go make fun of him. No, don't make fun of him because he's sad right now. He wants to see you feel fit. Just let him look at the little shoes because he's so sad. Why is he putting those shoes on? He's going to go shoot hoops. Like he has baby saddle shoes on. Little jellies. And they bronzed little yellies.
He's putting on little yellies. Pet a dog, any dog. Yeah. That one works. Unless you're allergic. Or pet five. Wouldn't do anything for me. If you saw a cute dog. Sorry, it wouldn't make me, that would not add place. Doesn't it brighten your day when you come to my house? Dude, I'm so nervous I'm going to step on one of the dogs that are right around my feet. You've just been banned. Dude, it makes. You've just been banned. No, I don't want to. You've been banned. How could you possibly take that negatively? How about you pet the big one? The big one's not getting any love. Shooter needs the attention. If anything, that's a measure of respect for you. It makes me nervous. I'm like, please, please let me. I want them to brighten your day. Oh. They brighten Sienna's day the other day. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They do. I was sitting on the floor and playing with them. Yeah, they're super sweet. I just don't want to step on them, and I get so nervous. I have to shuffle. I got to shuffle. They're not stingrays. Kind of like Stingrays. Kind of like Stingrays. Oh, it's the worst, though, when you get one and they're like, you know, they cry. If that ever happened, I would check out of my body. I'd check out. He would run away. I'd go, Woods is going to murder me. I'm a monster. Yeah. He'd start crying. I'd cry and go, I'm a monster. That just reminded me of when you fell on Friday.
How have we not talked about that? Wait, what? At the military thing. At the thing where he slipped. I think I was way ahead of you guys. He had his boots on. I didn't see it either. I was getting a drink, but Mikey's like, I just fell. Well, I saw the aftermath. He's underneath the board right now. Mikey's hiding. It was a pebbly surface. It was a pebbly sidewalk. And Mikey's doing his little dance on the way out of there. I wasn't doing a dance. You were dancing. She's walking. I missed the whole thing. It was a group of about 200 people. Oh, my gosh. It was so mortifying. I looked away for a second, and you weren't in front of me anymore. You were on the ground. You didn't see it? I had no idea. Let me explain. You know what I did? Because I had eaten, of course, seven burgers. So I had to go out and blast a cig. So I was way ahead of you guys. We went to the military base. In Coronado. In Coronado. Yeah. Is it Marine? Where were we? Army? Squadron. Well, we went out there and we were visiting with the military. And it was awesome. We had this awesome day. It was in Coronado. Had this awesome day. We're leaving. And as we're leaving, this is what it looked like. This is not an exaggeration. Promise me. I promise you that what I'm about to do is exactly how it happened. I'll let you know if it's true. He's walking. He's walking. No.
Walking falls. On the ground, on all fours. Like a big fall. No way. Because you had those leather boots on. Little Boots was wearing boots that were a little too big for him, I think. No, no. They're just super slippery. The bottom of these boots are like linoleum. They have flowers engraved on them in the bottom, but no traction. They're fancy, not practical. They have something engraved on this hole. They're not flowers. What are they? They're crosses and like iron crosses. It's crosses. They're Mark Nason boots. They're nice boots. Yeah, Milan, he was slip sliding all over the place. It was humiliating because there's no way. Listen, there is no graceful getup. There's not. There were hundreds of people there. There was two to three hundred people in that place. You didn't even laugh. You just were like, oh boy. Well, I was just like, you know what? Pretend it didn't happen. Just pretend it didn't happen. And then that Marine caught you. No. Did you fall into a Marine's arms? No. It was a little girl that caught him. A little girl? I saw him help you up. Sorry, little guy. Yeah. You okay, little boy? Pick him up, dust him off. All right, I have a beard. I'm 40. I'm sorry, I thought you were six. Because only a six-year-old will wear elf shoes. Mike's face just went from laughter to mad. Zero percent. Mine are from Milan. Yeah.
Okay. Yeah, you can't get me after footwear. Oh, why? Because you wear astronaut shoes. Oh, this is from Hugo Boss? What's wrong with that? Keep the other name out there. It doesn't make it any better. Yeah, it does. It doesn't change the way they look. Doesn't it? Hugo Boss going to the building climbing business? They don't have engraved crosses on them. What are you, 17? No, they have engraved stripes. Really? Did you dip your feet in wax? Wait a minute. Your shoes are more club shoes than him. Zero percent. His are like cowboy boots. Yours came with a pacifier. His has engraved crosses on it. But you don't wear this to the club. You wear those to like a steakhouse. Yeah. Are you out of your mind? Yours are like for a rave. They came with a pack of glow sticks. Yours are made out of wheat. Who are you talking to? Woodsy just slides them on. There's no laces or anything. Every time Woods wears those shoes, he has to announce who made them. Hugo Boss is Spider-Man's brother, then, because they're used for walking up the side of buildings. Nice choice. Yeah, that's a good one. That is a little Chicago. Hit that note, Mike. You know our love was meant to be. Wow. Oh, wow. That was really emasculating.
Woods said to do it, I did it, and then I was like in the middle of doing it, and I went, oh my gosh, why am I doing this? Oh, wow, he just suggested I do it, and I did it. 570-1949 is our number. Woods said to do it. Go. Jay! Don't you? I can't even get that high. A famous celebrity cut in line to try to buy the iPhone and got booed. Yeah. And I'll tell you who it is, and I'm disappointed. Hi there, I'm Seth, founder of Honest Tea. You know, most beverage companies keep their formulas a secret. We're not like most companies. So grab a pen, because here's the recipe for our best-selling bottled tea. First... Pick two grams of organic green tea leaves grown in mountainous soil without any pesticides. Tea bushes don't need chemicals, and neither do you. Steep them in a cup of 190-degree purified water for exactly four minutes. Next, add about a teaspoon each of organic cane sugar and honey. We use organic honey from hives at least two miles away from any pollution source because those bees get around. And that's why our honey green tea tastes better than all those sugary tea drinks out there. If this sounds too hard, just buy a bottle of Honest Tea. We've done all the work. I accidentally had a piece of beef yesterday. The best movie ever made.
Doobie Brothers, listen to the music. Welcome back to Mikey's show. Let's see. So the famous person that cut in line to get the iPhone and got booed. I love that. Was? Jason Bateman. No! No, say it ain't so, Jason. He's our fave. He's literally one of our faves in here. Maybe we can get him on an interview to talk about it. I love him. Yeah. I would love to. He cut in line in front of like thousands, 2,000 people waiting for the iPhone at the LA Apple store. Oh, yeah. And everyone literally started booing and hissing. I bet. Hissing at him. Maybe he just had to use the bathroom. At the front of the line. Yeah. Witnesses said that he just put his head down.
He did. And he stayed there, probably, and got his phone early. I'm sure. He wasn't shamed out of it. How does he do it? Probably, he's Jason Bateman, and somebody was a fan, and they said, hey, you could stand in. And then they got to talk to Jason Bateman for five minutes. Oh, yeah. Hey, I would have let him in. Me too. If it was me, I would have been like, if I was at the front of that line and Jason Bateman walked in, I would have gone, dude. Yeah, yeah. Jason Bateman doesn't wait in line. You know why I couldn't do it? Because I know that the attention would be focused on me for being a jerk. And they blame me. They blame me and him. But it doesn't matter. Your new best friend is now Jason Bateman. Yeah. Who cares? You get heckled the whole time. It'd be all over. Oh, my gosh. It'd be worth it. Wouldn't that be awesome? It'd be worth it. It'd be worth it. If you don't know, Jason Bateman, he was one of the stars of Arrested Development. Brilliant. He really is. He's the best straight guy. He's the best straight guy. Yep. Ever. He's genius in the breakup. Genius in the breakup. Cheese and rice, you guys. I thought he was really good in a movie called Smoke and Aces, too. Yeah, you told me about it. I haven't seen it yet. When he was in the Hogan family. That's right. He was a little kid. That's how he got started. He started the fire. What is that show? It used to be Valerie's house, and then Valerie got killed off, and it was Hogan's family. The Hogan's family. Hogan family. Yeah, and he started a fire and burned the house down. He did? In the show. Yeah, in the show.
He's a little kid. Like a lamp up in the attic or something. He's a little rapscallion. That's right. He's greatness, though. I mean, sheer, sheer greatness. M1, Jesse James from Escondido. Hello. Hello. How are you? I'm good. Who are you calling about? Hey, I'm curious. It was kind of touched on like a month and a half ago, but I'm curious if Deanna knows what is going to be on her birth CD. Oh, my birth CD? What is that? Yeah. It's supposed to be like relaxing music for when I'm in labor that they say bring in a CD and they'll play it for you while you're in there. Like something to calm you down. They put it on the boombox or on your iPod? No, they have something in there. They just bring in a CD and they'll play it. We have a cut from it right now. Oh, no. Dave, I do not want my baby listening to that. That anger. That's so cute. The baby is turning over right now. Do you have recommendations? I have no idea. I approached it from a different perspective. It wasn't so much about relaxing me as what I wanted my daughter brought into the world to. So it was like old school and probably pretty cheesy, but like Into the Mistake, Van Morrison, one of the all-time greatest songs in my book. You know, just like feel good. Yeah. Feel good about yourself stuff. And so that's, you know, I mean, crazy stuff. Some Pearl Jam was on there. Very good.
It's just, yeah. Pearl Jam. I'm trying to think. Did your husband have any say in that? Was Walk by Pantera on there? It's all up to us. Come on now. You know, actually, her name is Rainy James. So his request was that Sweet Baby James be on there. Oh, nice. Yeah, come on now. Yeah, I'm thinking just, like, not relaxing, but mellow, just happy music that everyone likes and it'll, like, make me happy. I mean, I don't know. I haven't even, I need to get to that. So your husband put some James Taylor on there? Yeah. Oh, so your husband's gay. Oh, my goodness. Ignore him. Ignore him. Ignore him. Hey, I'm just kidding. I like James Taylor. You know you have James Taylor. She's like, I'm going to kill that guy. I have James Taylor on my iTunes right now. Big surprise. I mean, sweet baby James is the way to go. Come on. Very good. Thank you, M1 Jesse James. I would listen to that over and over again and be like, that's the baby's coming out. That's awesome. Thank you for reminding me. Thank you, Jesse James. We appreciate it. Let's see. Do I have any on here? Rebecca didn't have music playing? No. No? Not that I remember. Yeah, I know that a lot of women do it, and it's on, like, the recommended list of things to bring in. This one's going on, too. All my friends from New Jersey. Here on Cape Cod. Cape May. I almost think I need, like, workout music in there or something to get me pumped up.
Mike, can I give a shout out to my friends in New Jersey? Yeah. We got a new M1, M1 Dolan. Yeah. For the first time online in New Jersey. And he's already hooked. That's great. I wanted to say hi. I went to high school with him. That's nice. Did you guys ever make out? No. We just made, we were a bunch of jokesters. Lauren. Lauren. We did it. We were a bunch of jokesters in the back of a biology class. Probably too wide for her. Seems awkward. That was really awkward. That was a really long pause. Really long pause. What? Oh, boy. 570-1949 is our number. Let's see. Sienna's husband, Todd, went surfing for the first time with Woodsy this weekend. That's right. I know he did. It's so funny because people always think that he's...
A surfer. Yeah. Because he has, like, long, curly hair. Blonde. Tan. Yeah. Beautiful blonde. Beautiful blonde. Blowing blonde. Hello. When I met him, he's from Pennsylvania. When I met him, it was, like, military short haircut. I San Diego. San Diego-fied him. I'm going to make up that word right now. You Diego-fied him. I Diego-fied him. But, yeah, he went out with woods. It's kind of like the blind teaching the blind out there. Oh, is it? Yes. And by blind, you mean the guy standing up on his board riding waves in? Okay. Yeah, but Todd did really good. I got him a board for Father's Day. So I was hoping he would like it since I already got him a board. And he stood up on Woodsy's board. Now, Woodsy, you do. What did you say, little sponger? You do. What? Did you say, little sponger over there? He's giving me crap about sponging. You're a sponger, too. You bought a boogie board. Yeah, I've ridden it once. In two weeks? That's terrible. Yeah, let's little Jake ride it. That's right. Well, that's cool. He did good. And the best part, though? He caught his first wave. I mean, it was rough that day. Yeah. It was really rough. And he caught his first wave and he goes, whoo! Lifts up both arms. Arms up. I told him that in the car. I said, okay, if you stand up, you have to lift up both arms with excitement because you're going to be so excited. He got stoked on it.
real fast that's awesome except the first wave he like he attempted to get up he smacked his toe on the board and it is so swollen and black and blue now i have no idea he's really taking lessons from the kid but yeah but he kept going i mean he didn't give up he kept riding the rest of the morning Just power it down. Todd, you and I are going to go surfing all summer. I've invited Jay several hundred times and Lauren several hundred times. Several hundred. Maybe Todd will go with me. Todd, he loves it. He can't wait to go back. Can't wait to hang out with Todd. 570. And Todd only. 194.9. You only have one break you go out at. Oh, well. Is our number. Give us a call. Beginning and end of every show, we let you call about anything you want. It's open phones. You can call about anything that you'd like. I think the thing that's most remarkable about Todd getting up on that board is that for a cowboy that used to be a model, I think that it's really, really cool that he was able to do that. I didn't get that. I was like, who are you talking about? Little Boots? Yeah. I thought we were. Yeah. No, we're not. We're not? We're not talking about that. I thought that was okay. I said no. You did? Yeah. Swear. Swear. All honesty. I did.
I said no like three times. Are you serious? He was not a model. People say he looks like Todd the God. He looked like one. And he doesn't. Todd the Fraud. So what do you guys want for lunch? Where's Hillary? Edward Sharp. 570-1949. How about Independence Jam, guys? I am stoked. August 29th. Hey, what did you guys think about Chris Brown at the BET Awards. Mike, you better not ban my peanuts. What? Jeff Daniels, the actor from Jeff Bridges. Who's on first? Here comes Hillary. I don't know. Yeah! Boss's office and I heard you guys go, where's Hillary? I was chatting with you. We got into a little bit of an awkward situation and we needed a bailout. Hillary! Took my love and I took it down.
Clowned a mountain and I turned around. Hi, Hill. Hi, Hill. How are you? I'm great. How are you guys? Detroit! What are you doing? What do you got coming up? I was just looking to a story about Detroit. Weird. Scott Shannon. I'm going to play some of our Independence Jam Coastal Invasion bands. The wigs coming up. Also grabbed some other good stuff. Hold Steady and Spoon and Silver Sun pickups. I'm ready to get some machines. All right. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to take a little 20-hour break. And then we're going to come back. We're going to do the whole thing over again. The Mikey Show's out. Lincoln Financial Media Station. Mikey in the morning. About the music all day and night. FM 94.9. It's about the music.
