Sports commentator Woodsy highlighted Ubaldo Jimenez's no‑hitter despite a loss, while the panel debated Australia's ban on skinny models. A heated caller exchange followed Sienna's Bananas Foster incident, after which Mikey performed a comedic soundboard interview with Kanye West, and the segment closed with Jay's simple even‑odd number analogy.

KBCT San Diego, a Lincoln Financial Media Station. The new home of The Mikey Show. This is FM 94.9. How you doing, you lovebirds? It's The Mikey Show. Morning, Portland. Seriously. Nice weather we're having, huh? It was lovely this morning. Yeah. Can you get your letter in the mail yet from the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce? Nice living here. Certainly is. I always wanted to live in the Pacific. Yeah. Yeah. Saw Edward Cullen at the Barstucks this morning. It's really great. Hello, Mikey. Yeah, he goes, blah. I go, big night for you, right? He goes, blah, blah. I go, oh, yeah. Movie comes out, what, at midnight? Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah. Man, it's true what they say. You're a really cute guy. Blah, thank you. Blah. Do you have his cloak on? He has his cloak on.
Did you ask him where he got it so you could get the same one? Really? Did he whip it around? He whipped it around. You whipped it around. Can I see you? Good evening. Yeah, he goes, good evening. Edward, it's morning. It's morning, bro. It's evening to me. Yeah. It's always evening. I'm nocturnal. You don't have a lot of time. If I were you, I'd get back to that coffin. He goes, blah, blah, blah, good. Good. She's a big fan. That's right. Welcome to the Mikey Show. There's five people on the Mikey Show. I'm Mikey. I'm your host. Got up really early today. I had a lot of homework last night, and I was like, I'm getting up early to do it. Really? Yeah. That bit? I can't do it. Yeah. Got to do it at night. Got to do it at night. What time did you get up? Midnight? 12.50. Jeez. I went to bed at 7. You did? 7. Last night. You guys are all nuts. I have a 12.50.
Got a lot of work did. Good. It was good. And ready to go. Ready to fire this thing into overdrive. If you want to call us, 570-1949 or text 949mikey at gmail.com. Woodsy is our sports guy. He gets so cold in the morning. He walks into the studio and he goes, I was blowing in my hands this morning. Me and Sienna are perfectly comfortable. I know. Always. I'm hot. To our defense, we're both pregnant women. We're turned up a little bit. Sienna gets a pass. I don't know how you're, I mean, probably because you're Latino. I don't know. Fiery. I think it's eight inches of blubber. No, it's not. I got the same, dude, and I'm freezing. Lauren O'Brien is our assistant producer. She is the blonde comedian to my right. She's got a referee shirt on today. That's right. You got a referee shirt on today. You literally have a referee shirt on. That's right. She's got the Brazilian blowout going real good. Yes, she does. Straight hair. That's what they do. They straighten your hair out, gets rid of all the frizz, and it's all straight. I'm jealous. A lot of air dry today. Yeah. That's crazy. Nice. Isn't that awesome? I want it. You're probably going to sell a lot of those. I know. Yeah. L-O-B. I hope so. Maybe pretty soon. They can't, right? I don't think so. We can't do anything. We can't color our hair. I was like, there's fumes.
I was coughing. My eyes were burning. You should do a commercial where you're like, I am Lauren for Brazilian Blots of America. Of America? Yeah. Of Brazil. Of Brazil. I totally like my straight hair. Come on down to LO Brazilian Blots. Sienna is our news girl. She's 25. She's preggers. Lizzie hates that. He hates when people say that. What about Prego? How about she's pregnant? He doesn't like Prego, Preggers. It's not as fun. How about pregnant? Yeah. Pregger. He just wants to go with pregnant. Everything's shortened these days. So dumb. Jay is our producer. He's 47 years of age now. And you are an M1. It's a Mikey Show listener. It's a Mikey Show faithful. It's a Mikey Show. It means that you... You show your loyalty to the Mikey Show. We are your show of choice. Thank goodness. We love you. We just wrap you up in our arms. Just hug you. Swaddle you. Love you. Yeah, we swaddle you. We push your hair to the side and we go. You have to ask if you're edible. Are you edible? Please don't ever say that to anyone. It's so gross. It's so creepy. Creepy and gross. It worked on LLB.
That's right. Did it. Didn't it? Give us a call. We love to take your phone calls beginning and end of every show. And it is true. Twilight is coming out at midnight. What's the name of this one, Mike? Do you know? Eclipse. Wow. You know that. Mike, you drove an eclipse. That's right. Did you? That's right. Is Rebecca excited? I'm sure. No, she is. She asked Mrs. Woods if Mrs. Woods would like to join her tomorrow. No, Thursday. What did Mrs. Woods say? Mrs. Woods cannot because we've got more visitors coming down this week. So we'll be kicking it at dinner Thursday. Well, she'll be at Eclipse and you'll be babysitting. June 30th is the release date. Which means midnight tonight. Yeah. Good evening. Good evening, Michael. This one looks really, really good. I'm going to say that right now. New Moon, I was like, eh, I don't really care. I've never read any of the books, but I've seen both of the movies. And New Moon, eh.
This one looks good. It's like Battle of the Vampires, you guys. That's what I heard. The vampires come in from the water from other areas, and they're bad vampires that take on the good vampires. They come down from Seattle, from the Puget Sound, and they swim down. Well, they come from Italy. When they come into town at night, do they look like the zombies from the thriller video? They come out of the water. They better be better. than New Moon. I was disappointed. Well, I heard New Moon was mostly about the love bit. Yeah. And then this is more of like action. So I'm sure Mikey and I will probably see it this weekend. Well, the whole second, I hated the New Moon book. I was like, all right, already. Get over. Come on. And Team Jacob, he's like one of the wolf guys. He joins Robert, or... Edward Cullen's team. So they become one. Is that actor's name Taylor Lautner? It sure is. He was on the Today Show yesterday. They ask you to take your shirt off a lot. Yeah! Take it off! I guess it is, yeah. And I just tell them, you know what? Not right now, but see you June 30th.
Oh, man, I think he's like 17. Look at L.O.B. He is. Oh, my goodness. Oh, no, I think he's 17. I'm pretty sure he's like 17. Unless he just had a birthday. The embarrassing thing is, is I read an entire article about Taylor Lautner and the new Rolling Stone. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, well, I was on a plane, and it was in Rolling Stone. Dude, I'd have read an aspirin bottle. He was talking about how he got so shredded. He put on 30. Pounds of muscle. Of muscle? Of muscle. How'd he do it? He said he ate nothing but protein. He said he literally, his parents would pack him a cooler and he'd be sitting in traffic in LA. His parents? He's 17. He still lives with his parents. That's so hot to LOB, by the way. Eating protein, driving. Yeah. Being 17 and high. That is not. The last part. The last part is the worst. He said he would reach in the back as he's sitting in traffic in LA and pull out giant bags of ground beef and just eat cold ground beef. And something stuck in my brain. I'm like, I'm going to do that. So you guys will be seeing the kid eating old bags of crap. Taylor Lautner was not driving himself. I'm sure he was in the back of a limo. No, he lives with his parents.
This is, he almost did not get that role after the first movie. What else? Did he say anything else? Why am I the authority on Taylor friggin' Love? I don't know. Keep talking. It's fantastic. But he, they go, eh, we don't think he's the guy. He had to, like, retry out. Because he was a scrawny little kid. He had to prove that he could be a hot sex symbol. Wow. I know the feeling. When he took off his shirt in that movie theater, I've never heard so many girls like, woo! Oh my God. Oh, my gosh. Oh, that makes me nuts. Can you imagine if they were at a movie and some girl got topless and all the dudes were like, oh, yeah. Right. Exactly. It would be like if she took the shirt off and there was just a bra on. No, we would make fun of the guys because if they ever said that, we'd be like, okay, guys. She's not even hot. They would do that, though. Yeah, that would be the best. She's not even that cute. What about when What's-Her-Face came out of the pool in Fast Times and Ridgemont High? Oh, wow. She was hot. You guys know you loved it. Yeah, Phoebe Cates. Phoebe Cates. That was like the first topless scene in a big movie, I feel like. Yeah, I dated a girl when I... No business dating her either. None at all because I was...
Idiot. And I dated a girl that looked like Phoebe Cates. No way. And I'm telling you, dude, I was... I'm going to need proof. I was the Mexican from the Black Lagoon. Stop it. I'm going to need proof on that bit. It's true. She is beautiful. She's insane. Question. This girl. Yeah. She was real or fake? She was real. She was real. Yeah. Yeah, she's real. Yeah, I didn't imagine her in my head. You sure? Yeah, I'm positive. I imagine Phoebe Cates in my head many a time. Yeah. It's the greatest scene in any movie ever. In fact, this girl that I'm talking about, she was an extra in the movie Silence of the Lambs at the very end when Starling graduates. Oh, yeah. She was one of the girls in a gown. No way. So you had a movie star on your own? She clapped when Starling accepted her award. Wow. Big time. That's awesome. Good for you. Yeah, and then she broke my heart. And it was like the end of the world. This girl broke my heart. Now I feel bad. She met some dude at Sears. Anyway, true story. At Sears. At Sears where she worked. She worked at Sears. How about that? At least she wasn't shopping. She was working there. Yeah.
Sears. Yeah. Tell about that. They work in the betting department? I guess. The Maytag department. The Maytag department. Sears was cool. So, by the way, I saw a big giant line out in front of the AT&T store today. Weird. So I stopped by and whipped out my microphone. It's Mikey standing outside the AT&T store, and I don't know what we got. We got, like, people camping out. There's a few people out here already. What's your name? Rondi. How are you, Rondi? Good. How are you? I'm good. It's the new release of iPhone. This was the sweetest girl. She was the sweetest. Which I love. And just can't do what you're doing. How long have you been here? Since about 4 a.m. Holy cow. Holy cow. Now, has this been going on every day? No. Just today. I'm not back. I mean...
people camping out because the iPhone came out 24th, right? Right. Pre-orders. Okay. So when were they available in stores? Today. Today's the first day they're available in stores? Yes. I had no idea. Seriously? Yeah, seriously. Okay. All right. Well, then that makes sense. I have no idea. I don't think that that's true. It is. Dude, there's campers. Then why were people in line at stores? At the Apple store. Why did Jason Bateman get in line? Where was Jason Bateman? You know who I think those people were? Pre-orders? I think they were probably pre-orders. Yeah. They mail you the pre-orders, I thought. A lot of people get them set. You go pick them up. You pick them up at the store. That's why. Look at you. And how long do you expect it will take once they open the doors today? Hopefully just a couple minutes. I hope they're overstaffed. That's amazing. I had no idea. You're hearing right now live a surprised person. I didn't know that this was the way that it worked. You are one, two, three, four, fifth in line, which is really cool. Have you had anybody offer to pay you money to sit in line for them? No, I wish. So I will be the first to do that then. I felt bad because I bought them Starbucks. And you guys know the way my brain works.
She was the fifth person in line, but there was more people in line. And so I went into Starbucks and I gave the barista a 20 and said, there's five people in line and I'd like to buy them coffee. Because all my brain registered was that she was the fifth person in line. Right. So that means other people, like there's probably four more people, are going to be like, oh, it's nice of Mikey to do. To buy five people. You jerk. I'm a... Mike, so there was nine people in line? I do things that I don't mean to do. What's wrong about that? I have the best intentions, but I end up doing dumb stuff. So what was wrong about that? I don't understand. Because I bought five people coffee, but there was more people in line. You can't buy everybody coffee. No, I could have. I just didn't realize. The number five was in my head. So she said she was a fifth person in line. But there was still more people after her. And so there was nine people in line. Mike, you just got five. Five. I just did the math and there's... Five people in here that didn't get coffee. Fair enough. See, I'm a jerk again. I almost called you up. I'm thinking $20 was enough at Barstucks for five people. I know. I'm a jerk. I'm a bad. You're not a jerk. I'm a bad person. You've got to think it through, though. Maybe they split it amongst themselves. Well, thank you. I appreciate it. And let me ask you this since I have you. What's the coolest feature about this new phone that you're looking forward to?
Well, considering I still have a flip phone from three years ago, anything is better than what I have. HD. I like how we all laugh. She's going from a flip phone to a Ferrari. Wow. Yo. Yeah, everything. I mean, I love the FaceTime now that you can talk to people face by face, which is great. The games, I mean, everything. I'm just amazed by it. My problem has been, because I want that FaceTime thing too, I got to find somebody that also has. the iPhones so I can talk to them face-to-face. Otherwise, that's going to be an issue. Well, cool. Thank you. I appreciate your time this morning, and good luck. I'm boring myself. All right. Thanks, Mike. Well, I mean, we're going to go through this whole bit, and then in like three months, there's going to be the new and improved iPhone. That's what kills me. It'll be longer than three months. Mike, if you get a new iPhone and I get a new iPhone... Does that mean like there's no more just talking on the phone? Are we going to have to look at each other every time? We don't have to, but it'd be fun. Is that going to be like an awkward thing? Like, why didn't you voice chat me? It's a whole new social bad thing. Why didn't you video chat me? What are you doing? You can't voice chat me. Yeah, what are you doing? What are you up to? Where are you? This is what you're going to hear in six months. Couples are going to fight. Babe, why did you just, why aren't you voice chat? I don't want to voice chat right now. I don't want to face chat. Where are you? I don't want to face chat. Why?
Where are you? What are you doing? I'm at a restaurant. So face chat me then. Let me see the restaurant. I don't want to see it. Show me the menu. I don't want to be embarrassed. What's not embarrassing? Grow up. Let me see. You paid $400 for that thing. Use it. But I don't want to open it in the restaurant. You used all your allowance to get that phone. You will face chat me. Not in the restaurant. Yes. No. I feel weird. Quit being a baby. What do you want me to do in front of people? Just for a second. Babe, I'm going to call you back because this is weird. I feel strange face chatting in a restaurant. Oh, my gosh. Fine. All right. I'll face chat. Can you see me? Okay. Turn it off. I turned it off. It's going to be an ordeal. It's going to be a problem. It's going to be a conversation. And I can already see, because I want it. I'm like, ooh, the face chat would be so cool, but what if it's early in the morning? I don't have any makeup on. I don't want to be face chatting. What, did Mikey use the phone when they're going to the bathroom? Ew. What are you doing? Filing papers. What are you doing? Taking pictures of you with my iPhone. I guarantee you're going to be like, hey, look, to your buddies.
Really? That's disgusting. That's what guys totally do. No, we don't. Is that what girls think? A lot of them do. There's websites that prove it. I don't want to talk about it. Those guys secretly have a desire for other guys. No, they don't. If they're taking pictures of their piece and sending it to their piece. Of their doodoo. Oh, of their stuff. Really? Yeah, have you never been there? Rate my poo? No, it's so gross. I wasn't going to say it. It's a website. It's so gross. It's disturbing. It's so disturbing. I actually showed that website. I showed that website to Todd when we first started dating and he was like, I'm in on you. I'm serious. I'm serious. It was wrong. Yeah, it's gross. I just got lightheaded. I was trying to be ambiguous, but... Anyway, guys. I was pukey when I got here this morning. I know. I think I'm pregnant. You said yesterday you felt nauseous. I feel good. One of my ears is clogged up. I can't hear. Maybe you got water in there. I'm feeling nauseous. Water. Your equilibrium's all off. Seawater. Yeah, I went to bed at seven last night. Something's wrong with the kid.
I bet you there's an otter living in your ear right now. Maybe some sea monkeys having a party. Probably. 570-1949 is our number. Or 949mikey at gmail.com. So, yeah, this beautiful weather that we're having. Gorgeous. This is baloney. Is expected to continue. Right, Sienna? It is going to be continuing for a little while. How long? Can I ask you something? Yeah. Woods is from Texas, moved here in February. When I first told you that the month of June was gloomy, and you go, really, the whole month? And I said, yeah. What did you think? I thought you were full of it. You thought, there's no way. There's no way. For an entire month. It's San Diego, California. You've seen June. I'll tell you what, May Gray was worse. Oh, it was awful. Was it? No, I feel like June was worse. They're both terrible. They're both soup. I can't believe it's June. It's the 4th of July is this weekend. I know. How crazy is that? I mean, the good thing about the San Diego summer is it really goes on until October, where the rest of the country is over in August. We just start later. But like Sienna said, it's going to be 4th of July. And I had to wear a sweater and close my windows last night.
How long is it going to last? Well, they say that yesterday and today it's supposed to be a little, it was supposed to be a little warmer. Yesterday was not warm. Then it's going to cool down the rest of the week and expect it again next week. Oh, perfect. Right as my family comes in town. You never know, though. You know, sometimes they're wrong. Then you're going to have to apologize to them. And Mikey will apologize. It's been 93 degrees for the last four days in New York City. I know. 93 degrees. It's perfect everywhere else. Yeah. I think Mother Nature is trying to help out me. San Diego, California, cloudy and cold. We live in Minneapolis, apparently. Don't you know? Don't you know? It's ridiculous. I know. And it's going to stick around for a little while longer. You're saying the rest of this week and next week. Dude, my brother, my parents are going to be so bummed. Can I just tell you that if on the 4th of July it looks like this, I'm going to be really... I'm going to write an angry letter to the city of San Diego. I'm going to move in Portland. What are they going to do? They're going to have to do something. They're going to have to refund me. They're going to have to do it. Give me a refund. My dad will try to get his flight refunded. Yes. I'm going to say, listen, we don't pay this much to live in this beautiful place for you to give us this. Yeah. We want a refund, at least for the month of June, and it should be prorated. Yep. Prorated. That would be awesome. You know what I mean? Sienna.

No. How about the lady that wrote? He did make the top ten, though. The lady that wrote Twilight. Nope. Stephanie Myers. Stephanie Myers. Nope. I'm sure she's on the list, but I only have the top. I'm sorry, it's powerful. Can I tell you that Oprah, why Oprah is number one is because of the amount of money she made. She made $315 million over the last 12 months. Holy. $315 million. I think that that is shockingly low. Really? She's a billionaire. Oh, yeah. I would have thought that you would have just said. That Oprah Enterprises and Harpo, her production company and all that stuff. I would have thought that you would say Oprah's generated $2.4 billion over the last year, I would have thought. Yeah, well, this is based on money. It's based on what she made. She's holding it down with that amount. Is it powerful? Is that the list? Yeah. Steve Jobs? No. Is he a celebrity? I'm sure, like I said, this is top 100. I'm sure he's on the list, but I only have the top few right here.
Justin Bieber. No. The Biebs? No. You think he's made that much money? Oprah money? No. Not yet. Channing Tatum. Ellen. Taylor Swift. No. What? Taylor Lautner. No. Lawrence Taylor. Joey Lawrence. No, Ellen. No, no. Simon Cowell. Yeah. Yes. Simon Cowell. No. Man. Bret Michaels. No. Donald Trump. One is... A bootylicious girl. Beyonce. Beyonce, number two. Jay-Z. Kardashian. Paris Hilton. Nope. James Cameron, number three. Oh, Avatar. Nerditar. So it goes Oprah, Beyonce, James Cameron, Lady Gaga. And any guesses on the fifth one, you'll be surprised. He had a very, very rough year. Jesse James. Yeah. Tiger Woods. Yes. Yeah. There you go. He made a lot of money? You know what? I'm surprised Michael Jackson isn't on that list. I know. Maybe you have to be living. Yeah, living people. Okay, how about this? Don't know if this is the cool thing to do right now, but apparently people are passing out whenever Biden or Obama speak. This was Vice President Biden giving a speech, and you really hear this guy pass out. It's the CEO of GM, Jim Campbell. Take a listen.
The country that doesn't innovate stagnates. Oh, my gosh. It's like a punch in the face. Pow, wasn't it? Yeah. Let's hear it again. We have a doctor here. Oh, boy. Ladies and gentlemen, that's a sad note to end this time. We have a doc here. Say something stupid, Biden. Yeah. As usual. He's like, fine, then forget all of you. Fine, I'm done. I'll just leave. Why don't you guys put it where the sun doesn't shine? Are we really bringing that back? We're bringing it back. This was a famous Barack speech, famous fainting moment. My favorite colleagues in Washington, she is an outstanding congresswoman. Congresswoman Diane Watson. Give it up for her. Uh-oh. If we have a medic, if we have somebody, I think we may have. Somebody outside. Somebody just fell. They probably felt a little bit faint. Oh, my gosh. Are you okay? We need some water. Is somebody still on the ground? He was like the Beatles, Obama. Seriously. He was like the Beatles. Why do you think that's happening? Why? Yeah. Because he's like the Beatles. But Biden? Just so you know, the guy yesterday, Jim Campbell, GM guy, he's okay. He got up a few seconds later and walked out. What do you think it was? So embarrassing. I don't know. Do you ever pass it out? Have I? Yeah. I mean, like.
Not drunk? Passed out? Have you ever passed out? Only fallen over? I have from like... Fainted? Like when I've gotten blood taken or like I've gotten hit in the head, but not just like, oh, my stars. I was on a date one time and the girl I was with did. What? Fake bit. She wanted to go home. Yeah, it was so fake. That's uncomfortable. Oh, yeah. It was so fake that we were eating sushi and she threw up and then hit her head. Oh, my gosh. It's insane. Hits her head on the thing and... rolls off the chair. Did you go on another date? What did you do? I, like, I freaked out. I mean, I stayed really calm, but internally, I was flipping out. What happened to her? She was sick. Oh. She was sick, didn't want to miss the date. Did you go on another date? Yeah. Yeah, we did. Good man. Did you ever eat sushi again? Good man. Yeah. We've eaten sushi with Mike. Yeah, that's right. In his robes. We're out. I'm coming. Bye next year. Uh-oh. We have somebody who fainted. Uh-oh. Hold on. We got somebody who's sick. It's like Elvis. Yeah. He's like Elvis. It looks like we have somebody who may have fainted. Hold on a second, young lady. You okay? Why don't you sit down? Golly. Somebody guide her out and let her sit down because she's just feeling a little faint. That's four of them. That's insane. I know it. How does he know? She's just feeling a little bit faint.
She's not feeling too good. We got a medic. Don't eat the stroganoff. I want to go. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I want to go do that at his next speech just so I can get, say, Obama talked to me. Some publicity. Yeah. No, just, he talked to me. Yeah. He looked right at me and asked if somebody could get a medic. Yeah. Do you need mouth to mouth, Blondie? Yeah. Hey, Swiss Miss. Blondes. Blondes. Blondes. Blondes. Yeah. Padres ran into probably best pitcher in baseball last night. Yeah. Ubaldo Jimenez pitches for the Rockies. He's their division rivals. This guy is filthy. He only won his 14th game last night. He's 14-1. I heard something weird about him, though. Like, doesn't he get to the sixth inning? Oh, no. I heard after the sixth inning. Like, he's great. But then at the sixth inning, it's like. No, no, no. No? He actually threw a no-hitter this year.
He did? Yeah, he threw a no-hitter this year. He's pretty much filthy. But last night, he got to the sixth, and Padres got four runs off of him. But they couldn't close the deal. They lost 10-6. Still four games up in the West. Also, you guys, the All-Star teams are announced on Sunday. You heard it here first. I'm going to call, I'm saying three Padres will be on the All-Stars. Wow. Maybe four. Adrian Gonzalez. Yes. Definitely, who's that other pitcher? Matt Latos. Matt Latos. I don't know the third. Keith Bell, the closer. Yeah. And possibly Luke Gregerson pitching out of the bullpen. So possibly four Padres on that all-star team. Should be pretty rad. You know, I'm going to just start calling the Rockies Colorado kryptonite. Yeah, I don't like those guys, man. Because that's what they are. I do not like that team. The Padres have issues with the Rockies. They just always have issues with the Rockies. Those are games you need to win. You need to win your division games. Yeah. Well, they lost last night. A couple more games to go with those guys. Steven Strasburg pitched again last night, and, you know, he's not untouchable. He looked almost human, although he still reached 100 miles an hour, still struck out seven, but he gave up four runs in the seventh. And here's the problem with this kid. He's 2-2 on the season. You know how many runs they've scored for him in his last three starts? How many? One. Oh, boy. One run in three starts.
That's nuts. It's like the Padres when Peavy was here. That is embarrassing. It is. Going out and you're pitching your ass off and your guys are scoring one run in three games. You're a baseball player, Wizzy. Is that a mental thing for the team where they're like, we don't have to. You know, what do we do? I don't know, man. It's one of those things. It's like. Because Peavy was so good and that was always the deal. No run support. He'd lose one to nothing. Yeah. He'd give up one run. I mean, in Strasburg, what's going to happen to him? He's going to start thinking, man. I literally have to go out and win this game myself. Once that happens, he starts overthrowing. He's going to lose command. He starts hurting his arm, things like that. So you've got to get some runs on the board when that guy's throwing for sure. Also, the University of Southern Cal has filed an appeal with the NCAA. They're asking them to reduce the penalties on their football program. You have a smile on your face. Now you're smiling. There's a two-year bowl ban, four years of probation, scholarship losses, and the removal of...
several victories. You're not on board with that, Woods? Oh, I'm a thousand percent on board. Of course he is. What I like to do, LLB, if somebody breaks the rules, I'm all about it. Really? If USC does. No, if anybody. You're a Notre Dame fan. It doesn't matter. We love to talk about SC. If you break the rules, you pay the price. Do you not, Michael? But didn't you say this morning that Reggie Bush was kind of the bad apple that spoiled it for these kids? Absolutely. That sucks for them. That really sucks for those guys. Well, it does. I mean, hey, you know what? There's a lot of guys that went to SC thinking, I'm going to SC, man. I'm going to be playing in bowl games. I'm going to, you know, maybe I'll be getting Ferraris. Maybe I'll be getting houses given to me, suits. Maybe they just want to get in some bowl games. I'm an SC fan. It's the first thing he said to me when I walked in. Not going to happen. Hey, do you hear about Reggie Bush? Well, this is what I don't get about Mikey. Johnny Rule follower is like, eh, it's okay because it's USC. I do not. I do not. It's just a harsh punishment for it. People that didn't do it. You know who doesn't get harsh punishment? The people that don't break the rules. It's true. Also, Mike, the World Cup continues today. Spain will take on Portugal and Paraguay will be playing Japan. There's one Los Angeles Laker who's really into the World Cup. His name's Kobe Bryant. Cut one. I call it truly a world championship. They call it NBA title world championships. Really not. But, you know, it's truly a world championship. You take the best in the world. And.
You put them in a one-game elimination round. It's like every game's a game seven. Every game's a game seven, but the only bad thing is it's still soccer. The game that everybody's waiting for is the Germany against Argentina. That game is July 3rd. Kobe has a prediction on that, Mike. Cut two. You know, I picked Germany to win about a month ago. Really? We did our pools, and my pick was Germany. Yeah, did you pick the Yankees last year and the Saints to win the Super Bowl, too? Easy Dion Warwick. And what does he know about? Soccer. He could have easily just thrown a dart. I know. And finally, the South Carolina Gamecocks are one game away from their first national championship in baseball. They smoked the Bruins last night. Seven to one. Game two is tonight. That is Woods on Sports. 570-1949 is our number. Longest game played in tennis. Was it the longest game there? Yeah. Yes. Longest match. John Eisner, and he played a French guy. Nick Mahout. Mahout. Actually, it was kind of funny. What's his name? Letterman had a pretty good line about it. Letterman was talking about the game, and he had John Eisner on the show to do the top 10 thoughts that went through my mind during the 11-hour tennis match. Let's see how many of these are funny.
Here we go. Top ten thoughts that went through his mind during the 11-hour tennis match. Number ten. I'm exhausted. Number nine. We've been playing so long, I've forgotten. Am I Isner or Mahu? Oh, Mahu. Mahu. Listen to us. Mahut. Mahut. Number eight. Eisner. Remember when I said I'm exhausted? That was eight hours ago. That's pretty good. Poor guy. Wonder if I'll be sore tomorrow. No, probably not. Number six. I'm going to lay back until 5150, then make my move. That's where you want to be. Number five. I'm asleep. Yeah, number four. Number four. Why couldn't I have played Federer? It would have been over in 15 minutes. That's pretty good. Can you explain that? Federer would have...
Wipe the floor with him, probably. He's being self-deprecating. It's good. You know how jokes are always the best when they need explanation? Oh, yeah. That's what I've always said. Well, you're not a tennis fan. Yeah. Number three. Crap. Hey, Letterman, maybe make it the top five. I know. Seriously. Maybe don't have the athletes read it themselves. Oh, it's so bad. Has it ever worked out? He has the athletes. He has the actors. He's always done that. Just do it yourself, bro. You read it. No delivery. But they're never even that good. Like, I don't get why they still happen. It's all in the delivery, though. If Dave said it, you'd be like, oh, oh, oh. I feel bad for Drew Brees being up there going, because we missed our flight to New Orleans. So stiff. It's the worst. It's awful. Number two. Honestly, I don't care if I win or lose. I just don't want to die. That's right. And the number one thought that went through John Isner's mind during the 11-hour tennis match. Here we go. Larry King has had marriages that didn't last this long. I think it's funny. It looked like he hadn't even seen them until he was actually up there doing it. Probably hadn't, right? That's funny. We probably hadn't. You guys ready to do a little bit of the panel? I like this. Basically, it's things that are happening in the news. And our panel is Sienna Woods and Lauren O'Brien.
In Australia, fashion industry is going to ban skinny models from catwalks, magazines. No more skinny models. They're not going to be able to hire models that have a body mass index that's deemed dangerously low. And they can't use male models who are too muscular. I guess I'm out. Models under 16 are banned. They say body image is something they take seriously. Does it even matter what a model weighs? And if it does, what's too much to weigh? Sienna. I may move to Australia because that is awesome. I love that so much. Why do they have to be so skinny when the average person is not? Doesn't portray the truth. Yeah, I agree. Woodsy? I agree with Sienna. I think too much emphasis is placed on a woman's body these days. Do you? Woodsy. Woods? Yeah, right. Woods is covering his face with a piece of paper. And he winked at Lauren. Why are you turning red, holding your breath? I don't know what you're talking about. Lauren O'Brien? You might be surprised by this. I like the banning of people having to be over the age of 16. But I don't think you should ban people that are too skinny. Because some people are just born that way.
So I think it should just be all ages and, I mean, I'm sorry, all sizes. So it's not a particular body type that people are aspiring to be. Lindsay Lohan's mom, Dina Lohan, says they're doing a new reality show. And it's going to involve her and her family. Lindsay's going to be in it. They're shopping it to networks right now to, quote, prove that they are good, hardworking people that don't have the crazy lives that some people claim they do. If it's so lame. Because every one of us right now just rolled our eyes. Every one of us. If it's so lame, how are they able to make the show? No, no, no. Why are they doing this? Lindsay, like we've said so many times, can't get out of her own way. It's stuff like this. Just stop. Take a step outside of the limelight. Stupid shows with your family. You guys fight all the time. Somebody must be buying it. Somebody must be buying it if they're making the show. Don't do it. Woods. I wish they would go away, all of them. The Kardashians, the Lohans, all these. I mean, Lindsay had some talent back in the day when she was 12, but she hasn't done anything worthwhile in a while. It's probably time to stop giving this girl the chance to be famous because if you take that limelight away, man, maybe she gets her life back together. Lauren O'Brien. Yeah, somebody's buying it. I don't know who. This is exactly why I don't have a TV because it's just littered with that kind of crap. Vince Neil.
of Motley Crue is 49 years old. He just got popped for drunk driving in Vegas. How old is too old to party in Vegas, Sienna? There's no age limit when you're in Vegas. You could be 100 years old and party in Vegas. I'm okay. Not okay with the drunk driving, though. Woodsy? Dude, that's Vince Neil you're talking about. The guy was the lead singer of Motley Crue. The guy's just doing what he was... He's a duck quacking? Yeah, he's a duck quacking, and then we're surprised. Here's my only beef with it. You are in the cab capital of the world. There is no reason to ever get in a car in Las Vegas. Why would somebody drive? Dude, you can ride a tram in Las Vegas. There is no reason to be behind the wheel of a car drinking and driving, ever. Especially in Las Vegas. It could be two in the morning in Las Vegas, and you can take a horse-drawn carriage Denny's. Absolutely, man. Absolutely. And, you know, hey, kid's a big Vince Neil fan, but he screwed up. Lauren O'Brien? I have no particular thoughts on Vince Neil, but I kind of agree with both Sienna and Woods. There's no age limit in Vegas, as long as people are doing things responsibly, which he wasn't being responsible, so no discrimination on the age, but definitely.
Don't like people of any age drinking and driving. I don't want to embarrass Sienna too bad. Don't you? Don't you? She is unaware that I'm going to tell the story that I'm going to tell, but I'm going to tell it, even though she mentioned it to me off the mirror. Uh-oh. If you don't want me to tell it, you can tell me to hit the button. What? I'm going to tell people what you ate for breakfast. You can tell it? I don't care. This morning? Yeah. Sienna is pregnant. She wakes up ravenous. I'm hungry. Like my eyes open. I'm like, I'm starving. So she made a peanut butter and jelly whole wheat bagel. Delicious. Doesn't that sound delicious? It was. And then she was carrying out their car in the dark and dropped it on the driveway. Yeah. And she went, five second rule. Sienna. I ate it. I love it. I love it. I love it. You did not eat it. I love it.
I love it. Of course she did. Well, in her defense, she does live in La Jolla. Her driveway is made of gold. That's true. It's okay. Polished gold. Polished gold. It's gross, and it was, like, pitch black. I used a flashlight when I walked out there. It could have fallen on something. I have no idea. I just picked it up, and I, like, seriously, for a minute, I stood there like, man, this looks good. You dust it off? As long as there's more gravel inside the peanut butter and jelly. I dusted it off. That's fine. What are we, children? That's hysterical. What are we, children? I mean, come on. We're so PC that we can't pick up a peanut butter jelly bagel anymore and eat it off the driveway. We can. It was so good. That's hysterical. And I was eating it as I was driving in. Like, who knows what I just ate right now. Props. Am I an awful mother carrying a child? Probably having arrow seeds from you now. I would imagine. God made dirt and dirt don't hurt. Dirt don't hurt. That's right. Props to you. Yeah. That's delicious. M1 Detroit is on the line. How you doing? Good. Just want to give you a little tidbit, a little FYI. Vince Neil lives in Las Vegas. Hey, man. Oh. Yeah. If you still, if you live in Vegas, man, and you know you're going to be out partying, right? I mean, it's easy to get. Like, if you live in San Diego, and maybe you live in...
Escondido, you go downtown, you do a little stingery, and you're going to have a couple pops. Maybe you say to yourself, because of that situation, you go, I'm going to have a couple of drinks. I know I got to drive home. Uh-oh, you get in trouble, right? But we don't live in, like, next to New York City, the cab capital. Like Woodsy said, the cab capital. It is a cab capital, bro. Yeah. And it's not like he doesn't have the money to get out of his own limo or something. Bonehead. He was probably big time in a new car, you know, when I had a few pops. Oh, I don't feel like picking my car up tomorrow. I was taking a walk on the wild side, Mike. Well, I'm telling you, man, you can't be smoking in the boys' room and then get in your car. You know, he should have stayed home sweet home that night. Yeah, that's a great point, Woods. That's a really great point. He's probably too young to fall in love. No, he's 55? 49. Is that a song?
No, but he said too young to fall in love. That's a Motley Crue song. Yeah, I know, but it didn't make sense. It's a dollar. Lauren O'Brien. Why is that a dollar? Because we were working our Motley Crue song riff. Yes, that's a dollar. Didn't I get yelled at for a song not making sense during the Michael Jackson bit? No. You did for saying Man in the Mirror. That worked. So that would be Woods that did it. That's $2. Oh. Poor Lauren. That's BS. Two dollars. Hey, Lauren's keeping a tally. How much do we owe? I don't know. That's why we have to do the real way. This is BS. There's no jury. I thought Lauren was in charge of keeping our... Yeah, she throws it away. No, I don't throw it away. It's on an Excel spreadsheet. Oh, it is? Yes. Do you know approximately how much money? I don't know. Like seven bucks. When we make mistakes, we give a buck. Yep. And we're going to donate all the money to Rady Children's at the end of the year. We're all going to owe $5,000. We didn't have any. I'm worried. Yesterday, we didn't have any dollars to the King of the Court. No, we did. It was pretty great. Today, we shouldn't have any either. We have two today. We have two today. Angry girls. It's not a mistake. Uh-oh. She's a little too angry. We have to break. That's a dollar. Stop. I'm staying quiet. Metric will give me sympathy. Get too close to the flame. That sounds a little like Eskimo.
That's a little Eskimo right there. Talk like an open book. Crazy. You just got the death glare. I got the death wink, man. I've never got the death wink. The death wink. I'm going to slay you at this break. Double trouble. I'm going to take my headphones off, walk out of the studio, and let Woods get us into a break. I would. How's that? I'm going to follow you and slit your throat. Clay your blood. From behind. Wow. So you heard that Letterman thing that was a little uncomfortable. Yeah, Letterman. We've played little clips of Letterman interviewing somebody and it gets real icy. A lot of times. He gets so uncomfortable and icy with guests. He's talking to the chick from the Twilight movies, Kristen Stewart. And they get into it about how she owns a hybrid wolf and she's against hunting. And he thinks that hunting is good because it like... is good for business people, for the wolves to be thinned out. And it gets all, like, it goes, it turns into, it turns, oh, it's so uncomfortable. It's so awkward. And I'll play you the clip. I love those. Next. Here comes the sun. L-O-B, leave me alone. I'm going to turn these mics off. I'm going to turn these mics off. She's already ready. Oh, no. She's gearing up. She's gearing up. She's got her switchblade out. Stay with me all I know. Stay away from the hugs.

To nude couch surf. That's right. Welcome back. It's a Mikey show. There are five people in the Mikey show. Myself, Woods. Yeah. Lauren, Sienna, and Jay. Woods, he likes to cheer for himself when I announce his name. It's very weird. It's a weak man. It's like, yay! Let's see. Oh, you ready for the uncomfortable moment? Mm-hmm. On the Letterman show? I can't wait. Yeah, so he's... He's talking, Letterman's talking to Kristen Stewart. Tonight that Dracula movie comes out. Twilight, the eclipse at midnight. Welcome to Portland. Oh, by the way, we're going to do the female sound effects game. Yes. So if you're a girl and you would like to win a prize, what do we have, Jay? I like this game. What do we got? His mic is off. He's busy. Here it is. Now it's back on. Silver Sun Pickup CD. And the angel or anarchy sunglasses. All right. It's two chicks. We'll do the angel sunglasses. So we need two girls to call us right now. 570-1949. The object of the game is I'm going to give you sound effects and you've got to do them. And then we'll decide who does the best one. You can't be any worse than me. And why? Because girls can't do sound effects unless their name is Lauren O'Brien. Exactly.
Anything you can do, I can do better. Lauren can do sound effects using nothing but her mouth. Machine gun. Machine gun. It's amazing. It's not bad. It's pretty good. I'm not that good. I'm not as good as a guy. Yeah, but it's still pretty good. Yeah, but I go... 570-1949. Chick sound effects are hysterical. It's the best. So listen to this uncomfortable moment, uncomfortable discussion, and especially take note of, you know when somebody says something on stage and they want the crowd to support them, so they say something and they're waiting for it. Yeah! Yeah, right? Yeah. Right? Kristen Stewart says something and it's silence from the audience. Take a listen. They're feral animals. I mean, is it legal to have an animal like that in your house? Yes, wolf hybrids are legal. She has a wolf hybrid. Really? Wolf hybrids are legal. Because we don't have enough stray dogs. What are you trying to do to me, man? Seriously. I don't know. All I know is there's wolf packs in Yellowstone and they bring down herds of elk and they kill them and they chew the carcass. And you know what? It's such an awful thing because all the hunters have much more of a privilege than to shoot them because that's the only reason we're killing the wolves. And it's awful. Awful. Sorry, you're not with me on that one. Audience, nothing. Nothing.
She kept going, going, going, nothing. Awkward laughter, awkward applause. Awkward laughter. Awkward applause. I don't think they got the sarcasm of that shit. Well, I think if you love all of animals, then the wild animals, even the nearly endangered animals like the wolves, need to be managed. We don't want them to eradicate the cattle industry. We don't want them killing all the buffalo. We don't want them killing all of the elk. So I think there's room enough in the West or wherever wolves are that we can manage everything and everybody lives compatibly. Yeah, I think you're right. I just have a problem with the helicopters. Yeah, well, ranchers take it. very seriously when they're chewing, they're killing their cattle. Because that's money out of their pocket. So if we keep the herd of wolves, keep the wolf pack in balance. I'll take them. They can just come live in my backyard. Oh, boy. If I were her, I'd be like, who wants to know if I'm dating Robert Pattinson? I'll tell you right now. I'll tell you, Mike.
In that interview, Dave was the one that got more butt hurt than anyone else. Oh, yeah. He's so upset. Absolutely. Absolutely. Like, for whatever reason, wolves killing cattle. She's like, because at one point she goes, okay, yeah, yeah, you're exactly right. And he goes, ants, what you don't get is that ranchers get really bad. It's just like, oh, God, where am I? Yeah. It's like, you know, I just want to talk about Dracula. Comes out at midnight. Vampires, Mike. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Wow. Is that icier? Could that be icier? When you said wolf hybrid in the T's, I was thinking a car. A car? No. What car is that? Really? The Subaru Wolf? Wolf hybrid. Jay's got one. It sounds like a BA car. Yeah. I want one. That's the horn, by the way. Get out of the way. Get out of my way. Move it. Move it. It's Jacob. It's having your Subaru Wolf. Why don't they have different sounds for horns? They should. They do. That'd be great. Yeah. Me, me, me. That would be mine. You're in traffic. Yeah, that would be Sienna's. Move it. Move it. Everyone would be laughing. Of course. I know what woodsies would be. What? There you go.
For sure. M1 Kombucha from San Diego. Are you there? How you doing, girl? You ready to play Chick Sound Effects? Sure. All right. M1 Kayla from Oside. Hey. How are you? Good. How are you doing? I'm good. Okay. So we're going to do Chick Sound Effects. I love this. We're going to do Chick Sound Effects. And I'm going to let Sienna, Woodsy, and Lauren, they're going to decide who the winner is, okay? Okay. All right. We got kombucha and we got Kayla. All right. Here we go. Your first one, kombucha, is a choo-choo train. Go. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo-choo. Choo Chika-chika-chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-chika-choo-choo. Chika-choo-choo-choo. Chika-choo-choo-choo. Chika-choo-choo-choo. Chika-choo-choo-choo. Chika-choo-choo-choo-choo. Chika-choo-choo-choo-choo. Chika-choo-choo-choo
You really had to prove yourself on that one. I really did. He was like, uh-oh, you're not supposed to call on me. I know. I'm like, oh, no. It's hard. I can't do a choo-choo train. He's like, never mind. Let's just give me a dollar. Yeah, I'm like. All right, kombucha, you ready? Yeah. Let me hear you do, with your mouth, a guitar solo. That's hard. Nope. Think of an electric guitar doing a solo. That's so good. Kayla, let me hear your guitar solo. Oh, Lord. Sienna? Me? Yeah, who do you vote for? Kombucha. Kayla.
I got to go with Kayla on that one, too. All right. It's one to one. It's best out of five. It's one to one right now. Kayla's one one. Kombucha's one one. Okay, Kombucha. It doesn't get any easier. Let me hear your drum solo. Oh, wow. Wow. Wow. That's better than I would have ever done. Yes. Kayla. Oh, my God. I'm going to go kombucha. I'm going kombucha also. Kombucha. Kombucha's leading two to one. That's so great. Hey, listen, kombucha, you only need one more to win. I love it. You ready? Yeah. Let me hear your car horn. Kayla. Sienna. I'm going to go with originality on that one, being that she listened.
Kombucha. I'm going Kayla. Oh, no. You're the deciding vote. Oh, boy. L-O-B. Can I hear both one more time? Yeah, Kombucha, let me hear it. Kayla. Oh, gosh. I'm going to have to go with originality with Kombucha, too. Sorry, Kayla. I'm sorry, Kayla. Kayla. You played your guts out, kid. You left it all out on the field today. You left it all out on the field. You did. I'm sorry. You can lay your head down and know that you did everything you could. That's right. Woodsy's tapping you on the butt right now. I'm saying good game. Good game. That's enough tapping, Woods. Woods is not stopping. You played a really good game. Yeah, Woods keeps tapping. Stop cupping. Stop cupping. You're cupping. You're cupping and tapping. Now he's pinching. That's right. Kombucha, hang on the line, will you? That was awesome. Just want some angel sunglasses. And a Silver Sun Pickups CD. Mike, let's hear your drum solo. How are you guys any better? Wow, that's pretty good. We did cymbals a whole bit. Yeah, cymbals. Let's see. I love that game so much. It's funny. It's the greatest. In just a minute from last comic standing, we're going to hear a guy named...
Felipe Esparza. Oh, your cousin. Of course. Cousin Felipe. Sure, somewhere he is. Jalen Rose is, he used to be a member of the Fab Five, right? Yes. Which was the Michigan basketball team. Yep. Superstars. Studs. All those guys. Played for a bunch of NBA teams. He's retired now. He does ESPN commentating for the NBA. TNT in the playoffs. TNT. And he had this to say about NBA players rapping. Rappers, I know there's been a few. And no disrespect. But guys, keep it in the studio. Keep it in the shower. Keep it behind closed doors. Leave the rapping for the MCs. Leave hip-hop for the guys that live hip-hop. Yeah, I kind of agree with that. Maybe he's got a point. Maybe he has a point. Well... It's not just, well, first of all, let's have some examples, okay? Is he talking specifically to Ron Artest, do you think? Let's listen to Ron Artest. Is this during halftime?
That's terrible. I'm dancing. This is somebody's song already, right? Who does this? No, it's... Isn't this a 50 cent? Yeah, maybe that's why. It sounds familiar. Why is L.O.B. getting all... Yeah, yeah. L.O.B. is into this. Yeah, sing to me, boy. Yeah, Ron. It's not bad. How about... She's fanning herself. Oh, boy. Does anyone have any ice chips? She stood up. She stood up right when you started playing that. How about Shaq? My name is Kazam. I got the whole plan. Wow, really? The genie? Is that it? Is that the whole deal? You want to be... Him and Lil' Bow Wow? Oh, my gosh. It gets really bad at the end. They don't even rhyme. Let's hear it. Sounds like the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It does. It does. It does sound like the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. That's the worst thing I've ever heard. It gets worse than that. I can do better than that. That's Shaquille O'Neal.
And Lil Bow Wow? I don't know. Boweezy. I think it is Lil Bow Wow. No, it's the little kid from the movie. It's from the movie Kazam. Kazam. I got some other ones. Gosh. That's terrible. I have some other celebrities giving singing a shot. It makes Ron Artest sound good, which is hard to do. Mm-hmm. Can we guess? Yeah, go ahead. Of celebrities? After you play them. Yeah. Oh, oh, oh. I thought you were going to guess. What am I, Dionne Warwick? Twice today with Dionne Warwick. That's a dollar for me. I have a dollar. I have a dollar. Go. All right, here we go. All right. Ready? You guys, you ready? Let's pool ourselves. If you know who this is, say your name. Pinch and tide here. Okay. Is it an athlete? Give us the category. Athlete. Athlete. No way. That is awful. Oscar De La Hoya. No way. That was Oscar De La Hoya. No way. Why did he sing that? He sounds like New Kids on the Black. Dude got a recording studio and the whole thing. He was getting after it. He was. Here's another celebrity singing. If you know it.
Say your name. Actor, athlete? Actor. Actor. Uh. Lauren. Billy Bob? What's Bruce Willis? No! That's Bruce Willis. Wow. That is Bruce Willis. You're a good one. Well, you know why? My dad had this tape. It was on cassette, right? It's called Return of Bruno. He actually does pretty good. He plays harmonica and sings. It's pretty bad, though. It does not sound like... Yeah, I mean, in comparison. It sounds kind of like an overweight man, doesn't it? Yeah. Really? What are you trying to say? It reminds me of the blues traveler guy. I need more. Yeah. Actor, athlete. Actor. Steven Seagal. What?
Sounds like sting almost. Yeah, a little bit. How about this one? Actor. Who the hell is that? Tony Danza. This is not easy. Oh, my God. I'm just going to tell you. Angela. David Hasselhoff. By the way, by the way. Oh, David Hasselhoff is great. Germany is. Oh, my God. They love it. It's my favorite song. Is it? What are the words? All I know is in German, Lauren. The translation. Oh, such a jam. He's like Michael Jackson in Germany. Yeah, seriously. Russell Crowe. I've heard this. This is good. Not that so. Can't see too well. Is that the Crazy Heart sound? Yeah. His band's called 30 Odd Foot of Grunts. Oh, it's easy to remember. Who's the chick with him? I don't know. Kate Winslet. I don't know. Sounds like the girl from The Pretenders. Chrissy Hyde.
Colin Farrell. That's good. That's real good. We all know Jeff Bridges can sing, too. And Joaquin Phoenix was good. Even Reese Witherspoon was good. They were both good. Yeah, and Walk the Line. Corey Feldman. Oh, my gosh. This is horrific. Let it roll. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. This is like torture. It's so malign. I was going to say there is zero melody. That can't be right. Torture. I just want you to imagine like, you know, you're in your car. You got your door CD on. You're like, I'm just so bored of this door CD. You know what I want? I need the new Feldman, Corey Feldman.
He's just saying words whenever he feels like it. This is great, this next one. Scott Baio. Yes. I love it already. Scott Baio from Happy Days. Charles in Charge. Charles in Charge. Oh, my God. How old is he here? My jaw just dropped over. He's not even on key. Not at all. I have to start it again. Start it over. Here we go. Oh, my God. Can I just make an observation? Can I make an observation? What? When you record an album, you use the best cut. That's true. Do you know how many girls, I bet, stood in line for that? Oh, yeah. Oh, my gosh. And I never, I never, last night. What must the eight or nine tracks that didn't make the cut sound like? I don't want to know. Today.
Could have stayed there never. One more time from the top. From the top, Scott. Oh, wow. Oh, I hope there's a music video. You know what it reminds me of? What? Read my mind right now. Oh, you know exactly what I'm talking about. 100%. Do you have it? I used to. In fact, I have it somewhere. I have it somewhere. What are you talking about? The Heat Will Rock You. Heat Will Rock You. From Boogie Nights. I can play it. Can you? Yes. Do it. Do it. Do it. Play it. What is it? Mark Wahlberg? Yes. I'll see if I can find it really quickly on YouTube. He sings badly? Oh. Oh, Sienna. Does he do it in the movie? Yeah. I haven't seen that movie in a long time. I get warm here. What are you playing with? What is that pic? Is that a chewed up cap? Chewed up cap. Oh, my gosh. On the tailor. Isn't there a pic? Oh, boy. He's still rocking.
And heat. I think you both owe $5. You both owe $5. Come all day, all night. You feel my heat. $5. Feel, feel, feel, feel my heat. Why do you know this? Is that dead on or what? That is dead on. Gorgeous. It's exactly what that reminded me of. Oh, yeah. $5. Zero percent. It's the absolute. Worst ever. Wait, I got another one. You ready? Yeah. Randy Macho Man Savage. Yes. Oh. Oh, wow. Oh, man. I'm not trying to go through all this trouble. Oh, my God. Oh, wow. Oh, my God. What I do is make you smile and bring joy to your life. I ain't trying to be foul. Never doubt you. I'm all about you.
Tell you the truth. I can't breathe without you. I'm scared. This is like a serial killer's message. Again. Can I ask? Can I ask? Voicemail. What style is he mimicking? Who does that, but does that better? You know what I mean? What style is it? That's fantastic. One more time from the top. From the top. That's him. That's him. Get that drop. I'm not trying to go through all this drama. Oh, my. Baby, what's the problem? Oh, my God. Oh, wow. What if you're dating him and he's like, babe, I've been working on a song. I want you to hear it. Yeah. What do you do? He sounds like the Honey Smacks frog. I'm all about you. Tell you the truth. I can't breathe without you. Listen to the words. Listen to the echo. It's the creepiest song. No, that's not right. It's the creepiest song I've ever heard. That's the number one. No, no, no. This may be the best. This is the last one, and it may be the best. I've saved the best for last. Filipino professional boxer. Pound for pound, probably the best boxer in the world. Manny Pacquiao.
Oh my gosh. I've heard this before. This is the greatest. Gorgeous. Like a unicorn. Close your eyes during this next part. Yeah. Oh, love it. The honesty too much. We are never getting rid of that clip. Is it wrong that I like it? Never. Never. Yes, it's wrong. Yes, it is. I don't think he's good, but I like it. Is that like a family party or what was it? I can't see. What was that recording? Over the piano? I can't see. Was that William Hung? I know. That was great. This is You've Got the Touch. Yes.
Oh, this is the worst. This is the best. Mark Wahlberg. Difference is this is a joke. Get it. Get in there. It's so 80s. No, you're not, mister. The best. No, you're not. Love it. Hold steady. Our whole lives. Jay's picking the music today. What about this? Maybe a new social site ready to give Facebook a run for their money. And this is for real. Come pick up the package. What I didn't know is that when you're drinking tea, it's actually really important to drink organic because the tea leaves. are never rinsed until they're brewed. So that means nothing bad's going to end up in the bottle, which means nothing bad's going to end up in your body. I'm all on board with that. Honest Tea, it's my new favorite drink. I tried the half and half, which is half black tea and then half lemonade. So when you see it on the shelf, go ahead and give it a try. It's called Honest Tea.

I'm Stacey Cohen, FM 94.9. It's time for the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. Morning to you.
This is Bird from Dragon Eyewear with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surveport on a Tuesday morning. Being brought to you, of course, by Guayaki Yerba Mate. Today we're looking at a continued degradation of swells, primarily out of the southwest, southeast, and then a touch of residual west-northwest wind swell, as usual, lingering on to mix that up just a bit. One of the big problems this morning, though, out of the two, is a negative low tide continuing to hurt size and shape at all areas. The other issue is a bit of a southwest wind that continues to plague us as well. So not the cleanest conditions out there and a bit smaller than it has been. Look for knee to waist high surf on average. A few chest high plus set waves at the standout spots, most open to the swell direction. But you're going to have to wait for waves of that nature as it is inconsistent. As the tide fills in throughout the morning, if the winds do not worsen, things can only get better. So let's keep our fingers crossed for that. So for up to the minute surf reports forecast. Go to surpline.com, and for everything you need in order to go surf, check out one of South Coast Surf Shops, five locations, or you can always go online at southcoast.com. This surf report is brought to you, of course, by Guayaquil Yerba Mate, and it can only be heard three times daily right here on FM 94.9. This has been the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. I am Chubby. Lauren. I have a very...
Sophisticated palette. Oh, really? I do a lot of things I shouldn't do. Sienna. I go in long walks. And Jay. I just got reminded of the worst haircut ever that I had. I forgot about. I had the rat tail. Oh, my God. On FM 94.9. Sienna, that ranks up there with top three of you, the worst I've ever heard. So annoying. I'm like. So inappropriate. Oh, my gosh. Sienna just told us off the air. about something that happened to her. When this happened? Last night. Last night? Yeah. At dinner? Yeah, I went out to dinner with my friend. This is awful. I feel kind of bad talking about it, though. Why? I don't know, just because I know. You didn't do anything wrong, so you know. You seriously didn't do anything wrong. I feel bad. You didn't do anything wrong, Sienna. I don't know. I feel bad. About the person? Yeah. Should I tell it? Yes.
Okay. I'm so annoyed by this story. I feel like I can cry. It's annoying. My jaw dropped open. Well, I went out to dinner last night with one of my friends, and we had a lovely time until the very end when we had ordered dessert. She and I decided we were going to get Bananas Foster. Have you guys ever had one of those? They're delicious. They come and make it table side. And she and I are splitting it and I'm sitting there eating it. And this woman comes over really nice, you know, smile on her face. And she's like, oh, hi, are you Sienna? And I was like, oh, super flattered. Yes, I am. And she's like, well, I just can't. This was awful. She's like, well. I just felt the need that I needed to come over here because I'm really, really disappointed in you. And I was just like, looked at her. I didn't even say anything. I was like, uh. And she's like, do you know what you're eating has alcohol in it? And I know you're pregnant. I listened to the show. Oh, my gosh. Holy cow. The rocks. First of all.
I didn't even know Bananas Foster had alcohol in it. I didn't know that. And I have been so anal and careful about everything I eat. You do. No soft cheeses. Is there soft cheese in that? Can't have that. Don't eat sushi. Don't eat anything. Forget a glass of wine. Like, I mean, nothing, nothing, nothing. Here's the deal, Sienna. First of all, first of all, she's wrong on multiple levels. Number one, she's wrong because when they cook it, they're going to cook that alcohol out of it. will burn out. Well, that's what my friend kept telling me as I was seriously about to cry. Yeah. I mean, I was just sitting there like in shock and this woman just was like, thought you should know and walked away. They wouldn't let kids order it off the menu if there was a chance of getting drunk off of it. Listen, I'm a recovering alcoholic. I would have Bananas Foster and not have an issue with it because it burns out the alcohol. It's, you're not doing... But besides that. Poor thing, dude. I mean, it was weird. I mean, I thought, you know, I was, it's just like, I'm sitting there with my friend, you know, and then you come up and it's one thing to like, you know, say something nice. Like, I don't know. I just, I thought, you know, I thought it was going to be something really nice. And I was like, oh, hi, you know, nice to meet you. Yeah. Like being real friendly. And she's like, you know, well, I just couldn't sit there anymore. I listen, you know, and I feel, I feel bad. Hopefully, you know.
I'm not hurting her feelings by talking about it. Who cares? Screw her, man. She's lucky that Todd wasn't there. Todd would have snapped her neck. I know. I went home and he heard about it, trust me, and he was flipping out. I would have flipped out. I would have flipped out. Me too. I'm flipping out. I think in any other state, Sienna probably would have flipped out if she wasn't pregnant and kind of like, oh, that really hurt my feelings. I think I was just in shock, and then she walked away, and she left. Like, she had waited until she was done eating, clearly, and then she walked out. And so then I was just sitting there, and I would have punched her in the back of the head. Thank goodness this is almost, we're almost done, so I can go home. You know what I don't like either is the whole... approach with the smile and saying it with the smile deal. Like I was set up almost. Passive aggressive, dude. It's my number one. Well, and she already has one mother. She doesn't need another mother. I would know. It's just, ugh. And she's wrong.
Bitches are wrong. Todd said that. My friend said that. And you guys have said that. And it's just like, I can't help but feel like, do I need to call my doctor? No. Because this is my first baby. And so I'm over the top nervous about it. There's like alcohol in sauces. They put wines and beers and things like that. And it cooks off. Kombucha, they just found out. Yeah. Ferments. And you know, I think it's, your doctor would tell you that it's, isn't it okay to have a sip of wine, a glass of wine or something? Yeah. A lot of doctors, and my doctor has said that, but I'm over the top. Like, I wake up at, I wake up at three in the morning and completely, when I found out I was pregnant, quit my caffeine addiction. I haven't had any caffeine. Listen, if you, and I, if you had been having a glass of red wine, I still don't think. And maybe people will call me crazy. Maybe people will think this is crazy. If you were having a glass of red wine, I don't think I'd be bothered by it. I don't think that I would see a pregnant woman at a restaurant having a glass of red wine, which I may be totally wrong on this, but I think doctors will say occasionally. Not daily, obviously, but occasionally. I think it might make me just...
like, take a second glance and go, oh, that's not something you see every day. But I would never say anything and I would never judge that person. I would assume that they're an adult, they've talked to their doctor, like, leave it up to them. If she's smoking a cigarette, that might be a different story. Phone lines are blowing up. Would you guys say something to somebody smoking a cig? I think I would. I don't know if I actually... 570-194-9. 570-1949 if you want to weigh in on what happened to Sienna. Yeah, the smoking thing, Woodsy, is... It's way different. It's different, but would you guys say something? I don't know. Let's see. This is M1 Runner. M1 Runner is calling in and wants to talk about something that he saw on the Food Network. Are you there, Runner from San Diego? Yeah, that's him. What did you see? Yeah, there used to be a show on Food Network. It was... I can't remember what it was called, but basically they debunked myths from cooking. Like, you know, does asparagus make your pea smell? Like, does alcohol burn off when you cook it? Blah, blah, blah. You know, all that kind of stuff. And one of the things they did, they did like a flambe. They did a dish that they baked in the oven. And then they also did a dish with like a port wine demi-glaze type of thing. And they actually found that the alcohol doesn't cook off the way that people think it does.
In what way? Now you're going to freak out Sienna. I'm not trying to freak Sienna out. I mean, I know you mentioned that it used to be an alcoholic thing. And, you know, so I always tell people that, hey, you know, that I know people that are recovering alcoholics. So it's like, hey, you know, like, don't, if you're worried about that, don't eat those things. Yeah, I'll say, hey, listen, I'll say this. If you're worried about it, don't eat it. If you're worried about it. I'm not worried about it because I've had it for years since being sober. I've had stuff that's been, you know. Couldn't they not serve that to children then? Yeah. Why wasn't I carted when we ordered it? Yeah, dude, they serve it to kids. Yeah, well, see, the thing that they said at the very end of it was they said if you were to have like an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert of alcohol, there's a chance that it could register like a BAC. If you were to do, like, a breathalyzer on, like, a DUI. If you got, like, say, a DUI. So they should be careful with that sort of thing. I smell a food test coming up in the future. It's like a Mythbusters type of show. It was on Food Network. Yeah. Well, what I'd like to know is if anybody else has seen that. And our phone lines are just going nuts. So I'm going to thank you for the call, M1 Runner. I'm not panicking. Don't flip out, Sienna. I just feel like it's one thing if I'm doing something to jeopardize me.
Oh, Sienna. Oh, my God. I want this baby to be healthy and happy. And it will be. You know, and I know it's something that's so small, so some people are like, oh, please, you're fine. But I just, it's my first, and I, oh, I can't believe that woman said that. M1 Jeff from Rancho Penasquitos. You there? Yeah, I'm here, man. Listen, you guys, this has nothing to do with Sienna at all. The only people that accuse other people of doing stuff are the ones that are guilty of it themselves. This woman has, like, got some insecurity or seen some tragedy in her life, and she's just projecting onto Sienna. Eddie Vedder sang some lyrics that if you hate something, don't you do it too. I mean, I talk on the cell phone sometimes when I'm driving and then I see somebody else talking on the cell phone. I mean, this has nothing to do with Sienna at all. This is just the woman projecting and it's just her issue. That's a good take. It's a good take, Jeff. I appreciate that. Thanks for the call. Let's see. M1 Becca from Rancho San Diego. You there? Hi. Hi, Sienna. Hi. Honestly, okay, I sell alcohol, and I used to be a child care pro. I used to be a teacher, and I had to take all the child care classes and everything. First off, my brother-in-law is a professional chef. On the menu is Bananas Foster. He's come over and made it for me. There is not enough alcohol in that to do anything. Now, if you were having a drink, I can understand, you know, maybe saying something. I'm talking an alcoholic beverage.
of wine about every six weeks is what the doctor will tell you. My sister was pregnant. I went through it with her, you know. She has no right to say that to you. She has no right and no business to come up to you and give you that advice. Who is she? She has no right. Thank you. I mean, it was just, I was like, my jaw dropped. I'm like, oh, I didn't even say anything. And my friend, too, she was like, Oh, my God. Did that just happen? Did that just happen? I mean, my friend, her face, like, she, you know, smiled when she first came over. And my friend was like, oh, look, you know, look, someone recognized you. And then it turned into that. I'm like, yeah, I was embarrassed. It was embarrassing. And then I just he was like, wow. You know, that's one of those deals, too, where about 10 minutes after it happens, you're like, I almost wish that could happen again. Right. Because now that I've processed what just happened. I may be able to handle it better. I want to deal with that again. What if you went up to her table and you were like, you know, there's saturated fat in there. Your cholesterol is probably too high. I see you're a little bit overweight. I wouldn't be eating those garlic smashed potatoes. Well, how about this? Imagine if you went over and you said to somebody, hey, I just want to let you know that there's a lot of fat in that.
you know, ice cream that you're eating, and you walk away, and it turns out they're eating fat-free ice cream. Right, right. Frozen yogurt. Because essentially, this woman was wrong. In fact, M1 Alex is on the phone from La Mesa. Are you there, Alex? Hello. You disagree with the comment about the Food Network and the alcohol still in there. Yeah, the Flambe guy, that would be Flambe. Flambe. Mikey, I'm like you. I've been sober for over 10 years, and I've been cooking with wine for just as long. And guess what? All the inebriants burn out. Alcohol is highly flammable. That's why it catches on fire and it burns out. It's not going to affect your system. It's not going to get you drunk. It's ridiculous. She's ridiculous. I'm trying to imagine that lady who I know is listening, by the way. I mean, part of me feels bad just even bringing it up. Don't. Don't. I know. But I'm just imagining that lady on the drive home. Because the thought process is the thought process, well, I am so glad that I let that woman know. That I let Sienna know.
How terrible it was. What's the thought process going on? I think that she's the neighbor that's always looking out the window, leaving notes on people's car. I don't think she... had a second thought about it. I think she's just the world police walking around telling everybody what they should do. The queen busybody. Yeah. Who likes to stick their nose where it doesn't blow. Maybe stick your nose where the sun don't shine. Yeah. How about that? Put your nose where the sun don't shine. Okay. My guess is that was not her first rodeo. No. Zero percent. Heck no. One of the first times she goes, I think I'm going to confront somebody. Yeah. No way. I'm telling you though, her approach though, that little smile she had. Sienna, you know what? That means, that little smile means she is a professional bee. That little bit. No, that means job well done. Pat on the back to herself. Yeah. M1 Chris from Oceanside. You there? Hey, what's up, Mikey? What's going on, dude? Hey, I just wanted to put Sienna's mind at ease. I'm a chef. I've done Bananas Foster hundreds and hundreds of times. There's like nothing in there. Most of the time, it's just a little bit for show because it's a table side item.
But it's usually Gros Manier, maybe a little rum, but very, very little. And yes, the alcohol does cook off. You got nothing to worry about. So you don't have pregnant women and little kids staggering out of your restaurant bumping into walls then, huh? Wouldn't it have been like an issue by now? Yeah, seriously. Half of France would have all these birth defects. Well, you know, I have to say, to coin Woodsy's phrase, just keep your eyes on your own paper. See, and it's just like... I feel a lot better now, but it's just, even my friend, she makes cakes and she made a tres leches cake. Mike, you brought me hand on the floor. Yeah, I'm sure I have many times. I think I have an IV of one going right now. There's rum in that as well. And she told me ahead of time and she said it cooks out. Don't even worry. But I still didn't even eat it because I've been that crazy about it. She is. And I'm here early with Sienna every morning and literally every morning for the last six months, it's been. Oh, my God. I want a Red Bull. I want coffee. I want tea. I want something. Yeah. It's hard that early. Let's see. This is M1 Kristen from Hawaii. Hi, Sienna. I just wanted to let you know that when I was pregnant, I used to have a glass of wine every now and then with dinner for my birthday, for special occasions. My son came out fine. He was in the 90th percentile. He was healthy.
And this lady really seriously should get her own life, find her own business. And, I mean, it's just not fair. You can't judge somebody. And I think that you have a lot of class for not saying something to her and not retaliating. Thank you. I can't believe I didn't, honestly. I mean, I was just stunned. For all this woman knew, Sienna could have said, and can you not do the rum glaze or whatever? Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. How does she know I didn't even say that? 5-7-0. It's presumptuous. 1-94-9. Or you can text us, 949mikey at gmail.com. What do you think about it? If it had happened to you. By the way, the guy said every six weeks. I want to put that out there just so that people aren't listening going, oh, man, I heard on the Mikey show that you can drink wine all the time when you're pregnant. Now, doctors say that if you were to have a glass of wine. An occasional glass. An occasional glass of wine. I think it's specific to some people maybe shouldn't at all. So you should always talk to your doctor. Don't listen to the Mikey show. And that's, you know, and I'd heard the wine thing before. I especially heard red wine. But I think what really freaked me out initially was that it was like alcoholic rum, you know, and I was just like, well, what about that? I don't know about that. You know, poor thing, dude. Four ounces, by the way, is the wine deal, right? That's what I heard. That's what they said.

M1's I love you. Them ones are being really cool. They should be because that is ridiculous for that woman to say a word to you. It's just like a bad dream. I'm surprised she didn't call in. Can you imagine walking up somebody doing that? No. I've seen some gnarly stuff. Sorry. I've seen some gnarly stuff and I've been like, oh, okay. I just kind of mind my own business. All I can tell you is I'm glad that Woodsy ain't married to you too and that Woodsy was there. Todd would have flipped. Todd and I are very, very similar dudes.
Last night, Sienna was out for dinner with her girlfriend and had Bananas Foster, which has burnt off alcohol in it. Some lady came over and said, I just want you to know I'm very disappointed in you. Oh, disappointed. Because I'm pregnant. Because you're pregnant and you're eating that. Yeah, not like you were sitting there guzzling from the bottle. More sauce. It's not like there was a guy in a referee shirt with a whistle around his neck and you're doing shots. Rolling you around in a barber's chair, pouring tequila down your throat. Oh my gosh, you can't even imagine that. 570-1949 is our number. We did find another celebrity singing. This is We Will Rock You. No. It's called We Will Rock Your Face Up. We Will Rock Your Face Up. Oh, my gosh. That's Lauren O'Brien. 100% it is. That is my sister. I'm the backup singer. This is fantastic. Let it roll. Rock it. It's a bit. Rock it. And don't you be no fool.
On the Mikey Show page. Maybe we do. A thousand percent. Maybe we do. That was a bit okay. Maybe we do. How have we been on the air for six freaking months? I have no idea. And that is the first time I have heard rock your face off. You guys, it was a bit, okay? I'll say it. Good about what? Well, we made a film for the 48 Hour Film Festival. And we were supposed to be like a girl. band that was like, it was a joke. It was like we were breaking up and there was all this fighting and I was the drummer and I was like blasting cigs and smoking around. We will rock your face off. Yeah, so we did this video at the end for the end credits. We did like a minute and a half and we just made up the songs. We had enough time left in our 48 hours. Can we put it on the Mikey show? Yeah, it's fine. The funny thing is, so we did this, we did this song. So we wrote it. We recorded it. Then we, like, we did it in, like, a real, not a real studio, but my friend's studio. And then we made that video. I edited the video and everything. And I sent it out to, like, my entire contact list. And I was like, hey, guys, the comedy thing's not really working out for me. So I'm trying a different avenue. I'm trying to use it. So give me, like, total honest feedback on what you think is my... Holy crap. And I got, like, ten responses back that were like, well...
I just don't really understand why you guys are at a playground. People thought I was dead serious. We'll rock your face off. Yeah. L.O.B. will rock your face off. It's just called Rocket, but I was trying to make it viral. Where's this going? MikeyShow.com? MikeyShow.com. Maybe the Mikey Show Facebook fan page. I wanted people to look up We Will Rock You, the Queen song, and stumble upon that piece of gold. Kind of like you stumbled upon mine, Mike. That's right. Why couldn't you have found that one, pal? I know it. I wouldn't probably be here. He's like, wow, I'll pass on this one. So good. We're going to put it on our Facebook page and the Mikey Show website. Steve Carell leaving the office. When does he say he's doing it, Sienna? The end of the seventh season. Where are we? I have no idea. Does anyone? Is it like new right now? No, it's over. Maybe we're in the seventh season. The show's upcoming seventh season. Oh, yeah, they just ended the sixth season. So this is going to be the last season with Steve Carell. Wow. And people said, is there anything we can do to change your mind? He said, nope, just want to spend more time with my family. They can't have it without him. I guess maybe Jim would be the boss, but they should just hang it up. Let me tell you how they could do it. If they could ever convince.
Ricky Gervais. Oh, geez. Because he's the guy that plays that character from the original. Isn't he one of the producers on that show? But, you know, The Office came from Britain. Mm-hmm. The Office is The Office in Britain. BBC. Should they? Have you ever seen it, Woods? Yeah. It's amazing. To me, 50 times funnier, and it's filthier. But the guy, Ricky Gervais, as that character, is 50 times better. than Steve Carell is at that character. If you watch the first couple episodes. You've never seen one episode. Yes, I have. Of the British one? You have? Yeah, it's nowhere close to the American office. He's a huge office fan. I love the office. Me too. But Woods, this is what you have to do. You have to watch the office, the BBC version, then watch the first couple episodes of the office, the American one. You're like, wow. Blatant. Oh, yeah. Not just like, oh, same concept. They took word for word jokes. That never bothered me. But they would be nothing if not for. I get that. Okay. Like, and Led Zeppelin would be nothing without Robert Johnson. And they ripped off a lot of stuff, too. I get all of that. No, it wasn't a ripoff because, you know, Ricky Gervais was involved with it. Right. I get it. But the concept. I get it. But it ain't as good. It ain't as good. All I know is. There's no Dwight. There's no Andy Bernard. There is a Dwight. There is. But it ain't Rainn Wilson.
Dude, I thought it was, there was two characters I thought were better. The guy that plays the Steve Carell character and the guy that plays the Rainn Wilson character. The guy that plays the Steve Carell character, instead of being a star pretending to be a socially uncomfortable guy, Ricky Gervais really seems like that guy to me. He really seems like that guy. And see, and... For me, Carell is Michael freaking Scott. Yeah. I mean, I've heard this argument forever, and I just, I've weighed him, and I'm like, I literally got Netflix, the first season of The British Office. I was like, maybe it's the accent or something. I don't know. My wife said that, because I try to get my wife to watch it with me, and she watched 10 minutes of The British Office and goes, I can't understand what they're saying. And also, the bit is very elitist. No. It's a very elitist bit. It is. I don't think it is. It's exactly the same bit. It's supposed to be being really boring. It's so elitist. No. It takes me a little while to get used to it. I don't really enjoy British humor overall. I love it. Because I can't get past the accents. But once you start watching it, you're like, okay, now I can understand what's going on. Like Peter Sellers and all that. I'm like, eh, great. Monty Python stuff? You don't like that? Nope. Peter Sellers is French.
Oh, was he? Monty Python is what I meant. You didn't like Monty Python? Here's a dollar. Wow, dude, I love it. Fresh dollar for you. I knew what you meant. 5701949, new social site, maybe taking over Facebook. Oh, God, please no. Ever heard of a little thing called Google Me? No. No. Well. You may very soon. You will probably. You will. Yeah. Now, right now, these are rumors that are swirling around that Google Me is Google's new social networking site, which is going to give Facebook a run for the money. And the reason people are believing it is because Google already has most of the components required for a social networking site. They have Google Profiles. Have you ever heard of that? They have Google Buzz. which lets you create brief status updates and stuff like that, just like Facebook. And they have Latitude, which lets you share where you are, like your location with your friends. And the chat. They've got the little Google. Yeah, they have the chat. They have everything like that. So really all they need to do is just combine it together. And they also have billions of dollars. Yeah, Google could own the world. Yeah. So maybe something we're going to be seeing real soon. You know why the time is right? Want to know why the time is right for it? Why? Because people are...
irritated with Facebook for so many reasons. I am. Not enough to stop using it, though. Me either now. Well, what if something cooler came? Like with MySpace, you never thought it was dorky until Facebook came. And now you're like, ugh, gross. You know what they're going to do, too? You know what Google will do? They'll go right after the stuff that we're mad about. They'll go, this is what the commercials will sound like on television. I liked Facebook. I just didn't like them getting into all my private stuff. Google's done that, though. What do you mean? They've been accused of that with the Buzz application in particular. What is that? It kind of like lets your friends, it randomly selects people that are your Gmail contacts and kind of lets them know what you're up to. I think they have since fixed it, but that was a privacy concern. Because the key will be just go after the stuff that Facebook hasn't, you know, has their issues. And one of the big issues that's been all over the news is that... they have bad privacy stuff. And that all of our information is going out to... It's been leaked all over. Advertisers and stuff like that. It's a beating. That part of it I don't like. You know what I won't like? What? Having to redo a friggin' profile, take all my pictures, move them over. Maybe they'll make it easy for you to just import it. Having to find all my friends again. No, they'll have you import all your friends.
What if they did? What if they had a button, one button? What if they had one button that says, if you're a Facebook user, click this button and look at your new Google Me profile. That would be amazing. My friend. Done, right? I guess, yeah. Because you don't have to deal with all that. This is what I think everybody was thinking about a month ago. Everybody was like, you know what, Facebook, why don't you put it where the sun don't shine? You love that, Al. Why don't you hit the road buzzard? Why don't you hit the road buzzard? I think a month ago people were sick and tired of Facebook, but we were like, what are we going to do? Every day I contemplate, is today the day I'm going to get rid of mine? I talk about it every day. Is today the day I'm going to get rid of mine? I don't talk about it with you guys, but I think it too because it just, it's, I love the concept. Yeah. But there's some stuff about it. And I think everybody that's on Facebook. can relate to this of just, there's some stuff that just, you're like, I can't take it. It doesn't bother me that bad. Well, part of it for me is just that I waste so much time because there's so much there that there's so many shiny little buttons that I can look at things. I love it. Snoopers. We're all just snoopers. I do too. That's the problem. I think that's all of our problem. Oh yeah. And that's the thing that kind of stinks about Facebook.
And MySpace was better because you didn't need a MySpace account to look on other people's pages, but you have to be friends with them on Facebook to see their stuff. I love it. My friend once met this guy and he was like big time in her. And he goes, yeah, let's Google me. As in like, look me up on Google. You'll see how cool I am. Holy cow. Did it work? The worst thing I've ever heard. Oh. No. I met a dude that did that. Oh, he's probably the same guy. I met a, do you remember his first name? Yeah, I'm not going to say it on the air. Can you write it down? What does it start with? Because that's a bold move. No. I'm going to write mine down, too. I will never forget. No, no. But I'll tell you what. I will never. I will never forget this dude. He told you. Google me, dude. You'll see who I am. He was with this girl. And the girl goes. She goes, are you Mikey? And I said, yeah. And she goes, oh, my gosh. You know, love the show. Blah, blah, blah. And I said, oh, thank you. And I shook her hand. He was her boyfriend. And she goes, this is my boyfriend, blah, blah, blah. I just say his first name. His first name, Steve. It's not me, clown. She goes, this is my boyfriend, Steve. And he had, you know what he looked like? He looked just like Chris Angel. You guys know who Chris Angel is? Yes.
Dated Pamela Anderson. He was a magician or something. Like illusionist. Affinity. Yes. He has like face piercings and tattoos. Long hair. Yeah. Yeah. He looked like Criss Angel. Amazing. And his name was Steve. And she goes, this is my boyfriend, Steve. And he goes, yeah, Steve, blah, blah. I don't even remember his last name. But he goes, yeah, Steve, blah, blah, blah. He goes, he was dead serious. He goes, you probably heard of me. Shut up. And I go. I go, what would it be? And I wasn't being a jerk. I like, you know, I want to be nice. Right. And I go, from what? And he named off all these things. And I was like, I didn't know what any of them were. And he named off all these things. And he goes. I'm sure his name was Steve because it's like the same exact story. And he said, the next thing out of his mouth was, Google me. Yep. That's what he said. That's what this guy said to my friend. What a cool guy, man. It was. Oh, man. It was. We still say it because it's like whenever you're trying to like big time someone, you're just like, yeah, Google me. Google me. If you Googled me, Stephen Woods, you'd find a guy in Texas on death row. Really? And his picture. Yes. Oh, wow. Yeah. I was like, oh, yeah, that's not me. Like old college buddies looking for their boy. They're like, well, he's in Texas in the penitentiary.
Brutal. I once had a guy say to me in a bar. He was like, I don't know, in his 50s trying to hit on me. And he's like, how many? He goes, you guys on Facebook? To me and my friend. And we're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And he goes, how many friends do you have? Really? Shut up. How many friends do you have? And then we're like, I don't know. And he goes, I have like 732. You're like, wow. Okay, Gramps, why don't you hit the road, okay? Hey, don't hurt yourself. You might fall and break your head. Hit the road, Geritol. Yeah. 5-7-0? That's so dumb. Easy K. Yeah. Easy K. I was just trying to get his attention. He still has three years to go. Easy Larry King. Can you imagine if he said that to him? Easy Larry King. Hey, Larry King, why don't you hit the road, all right? Oh, my gosh. Hey, what was Cleopatra like? He's just trying to have a good time. Wait, wait, wait. Hillary is calling in. Hill. You guys, I just am driving, listening to you talk about Googling people, and I have this really interesting story that came out a couple months ago about Google. There was this guy in New York, and he wanted to break into...
advertising he wanted to get a job at one of the top ad agencies in new york and he was a young guy so he uh thinking on the fact that these heads of some of the biggest ad agencies in new york would have a big ego he went to google and i guess you can buy google like if someone googles Whatever. You can buy the number one ranking. Yeah. That's what Woods did for a living, Hillary. Hillary, that's what Woods. That's so crazy. Yeah, that's what Woods did. He sold. He made that possible for you. Okay, so this kid, this wild kid, young guy in his 20s, he was banking on the fact that these heads of these ad agencies probably had big enough egos to where they would Google their own name. Oh, my gosh. the five heads of the biggest ad agencies in New York City, and he bought the number one space for all of their names. In the number one spot, he put a link to his own website and said, hey, Peter, whatever, click on this and give me a job. Wow. Of the five, like four of them ended up Googling their own names. He got interviews with three of the companies.
Because of it. Genius. And he's not working at one of them. Oh, my gosh. Genius. That's awesome. He's the smartest guy ever. He deserves that. He deserves to have their job. Yeah. And he knew they were going to do it. He knew they were going to do it. That's the most amazing part of it. It's genius on so many levels. Oh, yeah. I love it. That's awesome. So I had to share. Have fun, you guys. Thank you. We'll see you in a little bit. That's Hillary. She is our midday DJ. She comes on right after us. She'll be up at 10. That's incredible. That's a good story. That takes such rocks to do that. That's brilliant. Yeah. Spent a little bit of money, made a little bit of money. Oh, yeah. Where do you stand on this email? Mikey, just moved here from North Carolina to be with my girlfriend, and you guys are the best radio show ever. Yeah. Thank you. I'm not writing to be on the air, but if you don't read this on the air, I would still like your response. Or... Know when you're going to talk about it. See, I moved here in February and I got a job right away bartending in PB. I fly home once a month to see my family back home and my girlfriend gets really mad about it. Mind you, it costs her nothing and I pay for everything we do. My dad has tons of miles and chooses to use them on me. Why is that bad? M1 homesick. Ornans nest.
It's a hornet's nest. Listen, first of all, he doesn't say how old he is, but I'm going to assume that this man is an adult because he's over 21. He's a bartender working in PB. And he says he's got a girlfriend. He's not married or anything. He's got a girlfriend. So technically, I suppose there's nothing wrong with going home to visit your family. Technically, technically. All I'm saying is if we start to govern how much dude flies home, then we got to break out a notepad. And you guys have to tell me, oh, OK, if it's weenie of him to fly home to visit his mommy and daddy, which I know is what the girls are thinking. I'm looking right now at Sienna and at LOB and they both have that look on my face like weenie.
Did it say, and I may have misheard, but did it say how often he goes home? Once a month. Once a month. Oh. Three words. Does she go with him? Probably not. Three words. No. She doesn't go with him. Grow. He says it costs her nothing. Grow up Pete. Yes. Grow up Peter Pan. Yeah, he goes once a month. I fly home once a month to see my family back home. Okay, fine, girls. I'm going to play devil's advocate with you ladies. 570-1949, by the way, if you want to weigh in on this. Fine. If you guys say, grow up Peter Pan, you girls have to tell me. All right, fine. Then how much does he get to go home? I would be okay with once every three to four months. Once a month is nuts. Oh, really? Okay, let me write that. Wait, wait. Let me get a note here. Sienna says. Just because if I'm trying to put myself in his situation, I would have a really hard time leaving my family. Right. Non-weenie is how often? One. Once a quarter. Every four months. Once a quarter. Once a quarter? Yeah. That's good. Once per quarter. Yeah. So what, that's four times a year? Yeah. How about you, LLB? Okay, I've been in a situation like this before. So I can see both sides of it because I used to get really butthurt when I was in a relationship with someone and they would go home a lot to the East Coast or what I deemed a lot. And A, go. You got to say how much? A couple times. Not every month. A couple times a year. And for long.
Like twice a year? For long periods of time. A couple times a year? Maybe like four, but it wasn't so much the frequency, it was the duration for me. How long? Like weeks at a time. Weeks? Two, three weeks? Two, three weeks. That's a long time. That's a long time. I'm thinking like long weekends. Yeah, that was for me. But then, you know, I mean, we got into it a couple times about it. And I think he had the same mindset of like, all right, then what do you think is allowable? And I could see, you know. Woods, can I just ask you something? Sure. Fire away. How would you feel if you went home to visit your family and your girlfriend was giving you one of these? Looking at the watch? Tapping her watch. I wouldn't like it, man. I'm really tight with my family, as you guys know. But then again, I moved here. I've been home twice. One of those times was to move here. Twice in six months. I've been home to visit once. Well, you've only lived here for six months. Yeah, but I'm never going home. I'm not going home for Thanksgiving. I understand in the beginning when you're having the most difficult time adjusting. But that's not going to help it. But it's like this girl's thinking, oh my gosh, this guy is, this is the one. He just moved here to be with me. We're going to build our relationship. And here he is running home once a month. I think, I don't know. I mean, I don't want to speak for this girl. But I know for me, what bothered me too is like.
Well, maybe if you ask me a few times if I wanted to go. Jamie dropped this hammer on me about three weeks ago. She goes, oh, FYI, anytime you go home, I go home. Now, we are married, which is fine. I get it. And it makes sense. She's got a ton of friends. This is apparently where the rules change. So I'm told. When you get married. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Well, maybe. I mean, but I have that golf tournament I'm playing in. I'm flying in Friday, hanging out with friends, playing golf Saturday, flying home Sunday. This weekend? No, no, no. In September. And I told her, I was like, really? So it's going to be like $1,000. Oh, okay. And she's like, oh, really? So I'm going to stay here, and you get to go hang out with your friends, and I have friends at home, and I don't get to hang out with them. And I looked at her, and I go. You're right. We'll get two tickets. Team Jamie. Just like that. 100%. Yeah, it's Team Woods. Team Woods goes everywhere together. There's times where I'm like, I wouldn't want to go. Like, you're going in for some wedding. I don't even know this guy. Whatever. Like, I'm not going to spend the money or what, you know what I mean? But for certain occasions, holidays. And I understand. You were never invited? L-O-O-B. Wait, you were not invited? I would be like invited, but not. Not like he really wanted you to go? Yeah, no personal invitation. Would you, when you would go? What's that? If you would go. Yeah.
You would invite him every time? Yeah. Wait a minute. I would invite, but I wouldn't expect it. It was always an open invitation. Open invitation is different than inviting. No, I would ask as well. You would say, would you like to come with me? And he wouldn't? Sometimes. I sense that you're not telling me the truth. I sense it. I sense it in her face. I can see it. She's getting very demure. She answered and looked down to the left real quick. Maybe I didn't put it out there every time, but I also didn't go home for two and three weeks at a time. That's a long visit. Talk to me about that. The other side of that coin is... It's a long-ass flight. You don't want to get out there and turn right around and come back. Yeah, I know. And I see both sides of it. You know, now that, like, I can step away, it's easy to step away and see the black and white side of it and be like, I see both sides. If you're married, I get somebody going away for two or three weeks and you're upset. If it's your boyfriend or your girlfriend, aren't you kind of like, well, you know, I mean, we're not married. Yeah, but he just moved here to be with her. That's apparently the argument. That's what they're headed towards. I mean, it's obviously serious. He needs, I mean, bring her with you. And it's like,
Part of the thing that I used to fight with one of my exes about was like, well, we live on the West Coast, families on the East Coast. You only get to see them a couple of times a year. Wouldn't you want to go for as long as your job would allow you to go? So I could see both sides of it. And this guy in the email, really quick, I feel like, okay, if you move here to be with this girl, she's something special, something you're considering to be family one day. Then you're going to see your other family. He should be kind of conjoining the two. Sure, when you're married. Yeah, but also when you're, you want your family to know your significant other before you get married. Wait a minute. Let me take a call here. M1 Fred from San Diego. Fred, are you there? Yeah, what's up, bud? Go ahead, man. Bottom line, in any relationship, you got to let the other person do what they want to do. They want to go home. Is it their family? You can't stop them from doing that. So you say maybe she keeps her eyes on her own paper. Yeah, you know, if she's insecure about an ex-girlfriend or something like that, maybe the guy's from somewhere cool and he'd like to go visit his friends. Woodsy, would you like to speak to that? I was going to say maybe old boy's got a little taste back at home. But why would he move all the way to Southern California? You know, if he had a taste. Well, why is she so upset?
Maybe because she misses him. And she's like, how are we supposed to make this work when every three weeks you've got a trip planned to go home to mommy and daddy? This is a guy-girl thing. Oh, yeah. I think dudes and chicks feel a little different about this. I think so. Because I think if a girl went home and visited her mom and dad once a month, I don't think a guy... I bet it would. Girls want to be included in everything. But Sienna, you also live a block from your parents. Well, I know. Imagine you. That's why I said I'm trying to put myself in his shoes and I would want to go home at least quarterly because, you know, be hard. You want to weigh in on this? 570-1949. Is this a case of why don't you just let mommy and daddy go? I hate that it becomes mommy and daddy. Are you going? Are you going? You're going to go visit Mommy and Daddy? Is that the only place you can get your laundry done? Oh, Mommy, you're going to do laundry just perfectly. Make you hello, dollies, real sweet. Did you get me my favorite fruit snacks? Now, guys can turn it right around and go, are you going to be okay without me? By yourself. You're going to have to go by yourself. Oh, no, am I going to be gone? You're going to be scared. 570-1949.

I will give you credit for that, Jay. You guys. I'm sorry it's not Miley Cyrus. True story. Party of the USA.
Yeah, so is he. So am I. Is that Jay that just sang that? Yeah. Sorry, it's not Popo Zow by K-Fed. Jojo. Popo Zow. Sorry, it's not Jojo. Popo Zow. Popo Zow. Isn't that what it's called? Yeah. Popo Zow. Popo Zow. Mikey. I like to hit that guy with a chain. Me too, but that's a catchy tune. All right, let me read this to you. All right, read it. Mikey just moved here from North Carolina to be with my girlfriend. You guys are the best radio show ever. I'm not writing to be on the air, but if you don't read this on the air, I'd still like your response or know when you're going to talk about it. I moved here in February and got a job right away bartending in PB. I fly home once a month to see my family back home, and my girlfriend gets really mad about it. Mind you, it costs her nothing, and I pay for everything we do. My dad has tons of miles and chooses to use them on me. Why is that bad?
M1 homesick. Two sides of this coin. One side of the coin is, grow up, Peter Pan. You moved out here to be with your girlfriend. Why don't you maybe not go see mommy and daddy every month? Why do they have to be mommy and daddy? They're mommy and daddy in this case. Yeah, because daddy's paying for his flight. Yeah. There you go. Other side of that coin is, really, you're going to be okay? You're going to be all right? Is it okay if I go once a month? Are you not going to be able to take care of yourself? You miss me too much. So sorry. I'm going to go hang out with my mom, who. birthed me and gave me life. Are you going to hang out with your mom? And my father. My father. Who am I going to hang out with? So you'd be upset that I hang out with my dad? Your high school buddies? Didn't Woods just throw the possibility into this crazy girl's head that maybe he's going home to see a little dime? Could have a little dime waiting back for him and see. Well, that's a whole different story. It means you're a creep. Well, how about this? Mom and dad aren't going to be around forever. Trust me. Yeah, that's true.
Way to put a downer on that one. Hey, I'm just throwing it out there. It's like, you know, it's part of life. And here's the thing. Here's the thing that this girl needs to know is he's going to keep going. It's just going to, like, she needs to either, like, come to terms with the fact that he's going to keep going or be like, all right, I don't want to date somebody that's gone 12 times a year. Maybe she just ties him to the bed. Just keep some names. No, but he's going to do what he wants to do. You can't stop somebody from doing what they want to do. Hey, you know what? Maybe she makes an agenda for him on a chalkboard so that he knows what to do every day when he wakes up. He has a list of honeydews. Yeah, a little honeydew list. She just wants to be with the man that she loves. Is that a crime? And she's with him. Three and a half out of four weeks. Is she? He's probably not even gone the whole week. You know what I mean? He's gone a couple days. Guarantee he bartends on the weekends because most do. And then his weekend off. Monday through Thursday. Yeah. M1, Jessica from North Park agrees with the guy. Weird. Jessica? Yes? You actually agree with the guy in this thing.
I do. One, I was going to say, I was brought up, if he thinks it has any, or if the girl thinks it has anything to do with maybe an ex-girlfriend or another girl over there, then one, you probably shouldn't be with that guy. But I'm basically from San Diego because I've lived here most of my life, but all my family lives in Tucson. And I'm only 24, and when you think about it, I only am going to see my parents for the rest of my life a couple times a year. And that's not very much. I'm so jealous of all my friends that have their family in San Diego and they go visit them on the weekends and do barbecues. It's like doing the same thing. He just has to take a flight to do it. That is an amazing point. That is an amazing point. And that's what it comes down to. It's like if you have the means to do it financially and you have the job that allows it, then like you really should. You really should go. I always thought a part of me was a little bit jealous maybe that I couldn't go back and see my family as much. So what was your bit with your ex? What would you say to him?
I used to say. Oh, no. Can you imagine, Woodsy? Can you imagine her setting her knife and forking you? As I said, to me, it wasn't the frequency. It was the duration. It was like two and three weeks at a time where I'd be like, okay, I'm just twiddling my thumbs around here. I'll be here for three quarters of the month by myself. Yeah, just, you know. Being faithful real good. Yeah, exactly. But, you know, I think there was a little bit of like, man, it sure would be nice if I could go home and spend that much time. But I only get to go back like twice a year and see my parents. And I'd like to see them more. M1 Tracy from Carmel Mountain, you there? You're in a similar situation as this dude. Actually, I want to go home for a month. Ooh, L-O-B. Yes. Would not be happy. No, I mean, no, I've been there. It's just when it happens a couple times a year, it's not that much fun. Do you have a man? I'm married. I've been married for 12 years. You're married 12 years and you want to go home for a month? When was the last time you went home? I was home, well, actually I went home at Christmas and then I was home for a couple weeks in April. Oh, wow. Do you guys have kids? No, we don't have kids. So what's his bit, man? My work allows me to take a month off. What is his bit? Well, you know, I'm spending a lot more time with my friends and I'm not sure that he's really into that. Yeah. Listen, if you're married, totally different story.
If you're married, because you're not. It's your unit. You're a unit. Team. Team Woods. Yeah. Right. You're married. We are a unit, and I completely agree with that, but I also need time with my friends in order for me to feel like I'm a whole person, and I think that's what I've been missing. Tracy, are you going home? Okay, so where is home again? Home is in the Midwest. Okay, like where? Michigan. Okay, I have to have a visual. Yeah. And all your girlfriends are in Michigan? All of our family and friends is from Michigan. That's where we're from. How long have you been here? We've been here 12 years. You've been here 12 years, and you don't have any friends in San Diego? Yeah, Michigan. No, I definitely have friends in San Diego, but my core group of people that I grew up with my whole life is back there. Okay. No, I understand. And family, right? And family, absolutely. Right. A month? We have no family in San Diego. A month. One month. A month? Okay, what about your husband? He's coming back with me for the first week. He just can't get the time off. I know. He can't get the time off, so I guarantee. He's just like, what the heck, man? I guarantee there's a big part of him that is like, not the jealous, but is very unconsciously like, I would love to be able to do that. And you're lucky that you get to do that. His bit to her is, oh.
Cool. Have fun in Michigan. I'll be here paying the bills and working. Dude, I did it. When Jamie didn't work, that was your boy. Oh, yeah. Have fun playing tennis. It was nothing but pure jealousy. Jealousy, yeah. That's all it was. Well, I can say this, too. I mean, and maybe some guys are like this and some guys aren't. I don't like it if Rebecca is not sleeping right next to me. I don't either. I don't like it. I'm uncomfortable. A little scared. I can relate. I know. I totally agree with you. I don't like it. I want her there. Something's missing. My dad does this thing, which annoys my mom. But when my dad is ready to go, it's a dollar, Woodsy. Good. I didn't even do it. Yeah, I noticed it. Yeah, I noticed it. Oh, you're such. I owe two. I owe two. Hey, listen, if I do it, you bust me on it. He did the inner yawn. I didn't. I did the inner yawn. Inner yawn. You don't get busted for inner yawn. You bust me for inner yawn. Children. Don't you get me for doing this? Woodsy, you get me for this. He didn't even make a noise. You look like a meerkat when you do that. I know. All right, back on track. Back on track. Your dad does this thing? My dad does this thing where when he's ready to go home, he wants her to be like, you know, he'll go, you ready, hon? Oh, my parents do that.
Hun is not anywhere near ready. Yeah. Like from where? Then he'll go, you ready, hun? They'll be at my house. Oh, from your house. Yeah. Anywhere. Anywhere. It doesn't matter where they are. They'll go. You don't do that? I do it because my dad did it. I do it. I think everybody does it. Everywhere I go, I'm like, well. And Jamie, she does the bit and she's like, well, I guess we're leaving. I guess we're going. Yeah. She gets so mad. I think that happens a lot. My mom will say, like, my dad will nudge her and she has to be the one to tell the group, well. We got to go. That's so me. Rebecca and I had driven separately to Kimbra's going away party this last weekend. And I gave her the tap on the, no, the rub on the knee. It's when you put your hand on the knee and all I have to do is rub her knee. And it's not our sign. We haven't discussed it. She just knows. It's your sign. We've never said, hey, when I rub your knee. Unspoken. We just know each other. She can tell by the gesture. Absolutely. So I put my hand on her knee. It's time to go. And when she doesn't want to, she pretends like my hand on her knee needs my hand on her knee. And she doesn't acknowledge me, doesn't look at me, doesn't act any differently. And I'm like, I just put my, and in my head, I just put my hand on your knee. You know exactly what the hand on the knee is. And nothing. So five minutes goes by and I put my hand on her knee again. And she gets into more, and I'm like.
This is not fair. I've put my hand on your knee twice. It'd be awesome if she picked up your hand and put it on your knee. On your knee. Do that next time, Rebecca. My wife can read my face. All I have to do is go. All I got to do is go. Raise your eyebrows. Eyebrow raise or lower. And she's like, okay, let's get the check. I mean, she knows when the kid is ready to go home, he's going home with or without her. I'm going. That's awful. After the second knee, I said, hun, are you ready? And she goes, yeah, in a little bit. Oh, wow. And I go, okay. And I waited five minutes. Oh, wow. I waited five minutes. Seven. That's an eternity. It was an eternity. It wasn't. When you're ready to go, you just want to go. Little Boots wanted to go home. He's like, are you ready now? Are you ready now? Are you ready now? Are you ready now? Are you ready now? So I finally go, I go. Well, hon, since we drove separately, I think I'm going to take it to the house. And you know what she said? Absolutely not. Okay, hon. Oh, she did? Okay. Did she mean okay? And I was like, oh. Did she mean okay, hon? Well, see, that's good. I'm like, you're not supposed to call my bluff. Yeah, but you want her to go home with you. No, if she's having fun, you're like, like we had people over this weekend, Jamie's family's in town. They were having some beers and I go, well, I'm going to bed. Good night. And I went upstairs and I sacked out. They stayed downstairs, had a bowl. It's different if you're at someplace, though.
Oh, I still, I would have been like, if we were at dinner and I wasn't ready and they wanted to go out, I would have been like, I'll see you guys at the crib. I just, it's, we're selfish. That's why. You and I are very selfish when it comes to that. Well, isn't every person, when we get tired, we're just like, I just want to go home. Listen, when you're at the party, doesn't matter what kind of party, when you're at the party, I don't care if it's that party or if it's house party, it's dinner party. I don't care what party it is. When it's time to go home. It's time at home. See, I can't do the goodbye discussions in front of people. I could never do the, all right, I'm out, and then just, like, in front of the group and then be like, oh, that's the end of the discussion. What about at your own house? At my own house? Yeah, like, I was at my own house. They were like. No, I would not just say, I'm going to bed. They were like, whoops. No. And I surfed all day. I go. I'm going to bed. Good night. But then you're leaving your significant other. What if they want to go to bed too, but they're being polite? Now it's up to them to carry the load. Rebecca's so used to that. Jamie's the load carrier. Rebecca's so used to that. I would kill you guys. You are too, Sienna? The girl always has to be the load carrier. It's not fair. Women are load carriers. Yeah. You guys carry the load. Not in every household.
Oh, it should be a discussion. It's always an open. I kind of want to go home. Are you tired? No, I'm having fun. All right, you know what? I'm going to go then. Is that okay? And then you stay. That's what I would say. Why not? Why no discussion? Just stay a little bit longer. Can we stay a little bit longer? Okay, I'll stay for like 10 more minutes. Okay. And that's it. Now, this is what I do. I go, in my head, I want to stay another hour. And you'd say 10, and I'd go, okay. Okay, it's been like 15. I'm going to go now. Oh, no, no, no. Honey, let's go in like five. No. Five more minutes. Five and we'll go. Is it really going to be five this time? It really is five this time. Or is it Mikey five? Really is five. Five, max. Five more minutes, max. Max. Max. It's going to be 20 more minutes. 21 minutes. See, but I'm all about the discussion. Not me. The open discussion. Not me, dude. When it's time, it's time. I agree. Here's what you don't want, though. Here's what you don't want, LLB. Me sitting downstairs like this.
With his arms crossed. Then you're embarrassed. Oh, yeah. Look at my husband. Go to bed. Why not talk quietly amongst each other? Because I don't want to. I was tired. When they're done, they're done. When I'm done, I'm done. I'm like, we're all kids and grown up bodies. No, and I'm usually the one that wants to go early. I just do the little quick little hug. All right, it's time. You ready to go, babe? Then we go. You know what, too? Tell me this, too. You know, I did the say goodbye to four people. Yeah. I do that. You did the what? Four more. I just. Pick the four most important people. I do that. That's a lie. Three. Hosts. Three most important people. Someone you sat next to. I hugged Kimbra. I hugged Lori. Shook Kelly's hand. Tell everyone else peace. All right, guys. I told you guys this story last week when I was at the wedding. And I was at the wedding. I was a groomsman in the wedding. I sang their first dance. I go, I'm tired. I want to go home. We have to fly home tomorrow. I'm freaking beat. I don't want to drink. It's 98 degrees outside. I'm in a tuxedo. I'm sweating like a Tijuana whore. I want to go home. L.O.B. thought you were a turd for that. Oh, I know she did. And I called a cab. And I was like, I went, you know who I went to? The groom. And I said, Johnny, I love you. I love you like a brother. I got to go. L.O.B., I'm sorry. He flew all the way out to Kansas to be at that dude's wedding. Yeah, man. And sang and performed. And how many times you're going to see him this year? Aye, aye, aye. Probably three times. Yeah.
Let's see. M1 Bear from Little Italy. Are you there? Yes. Good morning, Mike. How's everybody doing? Good, man. Okay. I just want to know if this guy is in the same situation that I'm in. I don't get to see my family that often. When I was in the military, I got to maybe go home once a year, and I consider myself lucky for that. But my wife, all of her family is here in San Diego, and I mean all of them. So I only get to see my family when I get to go home, but she gets to see her family here. Doesn't it feel different because he's in the military? Where's home, by the way? Home is in Oklahoma. I'm no longer in the military. I got out because I ruined my final chord, but I work at the airport now. And, you know, like I said, now because of the economy and the way things are going, I didn't even get to go home last year. So when I get to go home this Christmas... That'll be at least two years since I've seen anybody. That sucks, man. That sucks bad. Military to me seems so much. I don't know why. No. Because you don't really have a choice of where you are most of the time. He's out of the military. Now it's just a moot point. Now it's just, hey, we're hanging with her family all the time because they live here, which is fine. But, Mandy, I mean, dude, you're talking to one, man. I miss my family terribly. We are a huge, close family that did everything together. Kid's on an island with his wife. That's it. You know what, though, Pete? What, Pete?
You're an adult now. Where does your mommy and daddy live? They live here. And when do they come over? Every Sunday. Every Sunday. Every Sunday. I would kill a man to have that every Sunday. Listen, though, man. I mean, you got a wife. You got to stay with your wife. I'm with my wife. She's more than welcome to come. We all did everything together. We just miss our families. Team Woods, bro. You know that. I love Team Woods. Teamwoods at Yahoo.com. Teamwoods at Yahoo.com. How's that? How many emails do you have coming out of that account? Six, LLB. You don't worry about it. You started it? Yeah, it's there. Now you can find it. Okay. Send it right now. It's going to come back to me. Teamwoods at Yahoo.com. We should do it as a bill. I want to do it. I'm going to email it right now. Honey, get that set up today. Jamie D., I know you're listening. Weird. Get that set up. It's weird. Hey, fellas, another one bites the dust. First, pick two grams of organic green tea leaves grown in mountainous soil without any pesticides. Tea bushes don't need chemicals, and neither do you. Steep them in a cup of 190-degree purified water for exactly four minutes. Next, add about a teaspoon each of organic cane sugar and honey. We use organic honey from hives at least two miles away from any pollution source because those bees get around. And that's why our honey green tea tastes better than all those sugary tea drinks out there. If this sounds too hard, just buy a bottle of Honest Tea. We've done all the work. That's good. Who is that, Jay? Say what? Mason Jennings. It says cut 13. That's what it is. It says 14, really, though. What is it? Is that now? Did you read 13 twice? Yeah, just I'm not very smart when it comes to numbering. I'm not either. Oh, so you didn't have an extra. Mikey, 13, odd or even? Odd. 50-50 chance. Of course. I don't remember what it was yesterday. I said to CNN, I'll be off the air. I don't remember what the number was, but I got it wrong. I tried to give you a little thing to remember it. Two, four, six, eight, who do we appreciate? And I go, how does that work? And she goes, I don't know. It's an even chance. Just so you know. It's an even chance. When you need to. Oh, chant. Yeah. It's the even chant. The even chant. Two, four, six, eight, who do we appreciate? Evens. Evens.
Yeah, even. If it's a number you can divide by two, it's even. If you can split it in half equally. Like eight. What's eight divided by two? Four. Yes, four. It's a bit. It's a bit. It's got to be a bit. Totally a bit. It's not. He doesn't get it. If you can make two teams out of a group of, out of a number. And not have anyone left out. That just confused the hell out of me. I'm like, ah. Okay, so you have eight people. Yes. And you can make two teams out of that? That are even. That's even. If someone's going to be left out but hurt, they're the oddball. Oddball out. That might work. That might work for him. Of course, the most confusing thing that you could say, he's like, oh, I get it. But I know how Mikey's brain works. That, I just got it. And I guarantee you I will never forget that. So there's 12 people standing around a kickball field. Even. There you go. 13 people. 13 people. Oddball. Yes! First time ever. And I'm not kidding you. That's not a bit. First time ever. 23. Oddball. Oh my god, it worked! Oddball. I'm the odd whisperer. Good job. Oh my gosh. First time in my life. For months. When I was at the old station. Seriously, people would explain it and I'd look and stare at them.
And it was always mathematically that they would try to explain it to me. And I don't get math, but as soon as she explained it like that, totally get it. Totally get it. Because you've been that oddball guy, right? Of course, yeah. You're like, Mike, pretend that we're picking dodgeball. Remember you every time? I'm like, oh, okay, I get it. Or when we're playing a game on the air and we need to come up with questions for a listener, we need to come up with an even amount because if it was odd, then... No, we need to come up with an odd amount, because if it was even, then it would be a tie. No, you're messing them up. You're messing them up. It would be a tie. All right, ready? Hold on, let's try it again. 47. Oddball. Oh, my God! Holy crap! Mike. I love it. What just happened? I'm going to go home, and I'm going to be so excited to tell my wife. I'll be like, give me a number. Quiz me, quiz me, quiz me. Jake will be like, okay, Dad, eight. Now, will I get messed up if we got into, like, hundreds? No, always think about the last number. The last number. 123. Oddball. Oh, my God. 188. Even. Oh, my God. It worked. It worked. As soon as you said splitting the teams up, now we're even. If there's one left over, you're an oddball. Yeah. That's perfect. You're like De Niro or Robin Williams in Awakening. Yeah. You've just broken through, dude. Let me tell you. That is so strange.
I don't know what that was that put it in my head, but I go, I understand that. You picture, because you're visual. You pictured a field and 10 people standing there. You're like, oh, five and five is even. Yes. Those are even teams. There's going to be one oddball. The 11. Yeah. That's where they get the phrase, the oddball out. Yeah. That's amazing. Good for you, dude. I'm proud of you. That was great. I'm proud of you. As dumb as it is, I understand Auden even for the first time in my life. A 40-year-old man. A 40-year-old man. Another one bites the dust. Guess what girl you won't be marrying? Thumbs. Megan Fox. Thumbs. Foxy just got married. And the thumb is not that weird. It's a thumb. It's a thumb. It's not. You had to find a perfect specimen and find something wrong with her. It's some kind of disease. She has, like, short, chubby thumbs. They were the weirdest thing. I was watching Train, whatever it is, Transformers, and her thumbs were on the steering wheel, and I was just dumbfounded. Who cares? You're the only man in America looking at her thumbs. Trust me. She's sweaty.
Oh, God, you're crazy. She's a little sweaty. She's sweaty. Kid would make her real sweaty, real good. Oh, stop. Almost vomited. She's beautiful. Yes, she's beautiful. She's beautiful. She just got married to Brian Austin Green. God! They've been together since 2004. The announcement that they just got engaged came out like a week or two ago. David Silver. David effing Silver. Married Megan Fox. The weirdest thing ever. Really? Got married in Hawaii. Really? What's up, girl? What's up, girl? We going to get married, man? Yo, girl, I'm going to get you a ring, dog. Hey, yo, girl, let's go down to the peach pit. We be kicking it. Yo, Dylan, what's up, player? We going to the peach pit. Donna Martin is going to be so jealous. Oh, my God. Yo, man, I had to leave Donna in the dirt, man. Yeah, man, she wouldn't give it up. She wouldn't give it up, never, man. Then they almost kicked out of school. Hey, David. Hey, what's up, dog? Where'd you grow up? Beverly Hills.
You know that, man. You see me spinning at the after dark. That's right. It's a peach bit after dark, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What happened was is that Dylan went away and he came back and he had all this coin when he came back. So what he did was he went to Nat and said, yo, Nat, I know you need some money. I want to give you some money. And then what I'm going to do, I'm going to open a club in the back. Nat, I want you to run it. Steve, I want you to do the marketing. Nat owns the Peach Pit, right? Yeah, yeah. Well, Nat and Dylan. Dylan's his partner. Right. Wow. Of course he is. This is disturbing. And great. Yeah, and I'd be spinning there. So both of them, it's both their first marriages. They just got married in Hawaii, and he already has an eight-year-old son with his ex-girlfriend. Yeah, Vanessa Marcel, who she was also on the show. I hit that, too. She was on the show, too? Yeah, you know that. Talk about an upgrade. She played Dylan's girlfriend. Oh, God. She also was Brenda's friend from Minneapolis. Oh, wow. Don't you watch the show? No. We'll be the last marriage. 570-1949. That was so intense. Oh, my gosh. I keep waiting for Dave Matthews to show up and play his peanut song. Oh, man. I can't. I wish. I used to have the 90210 theme. Here we go. Here we go.
Oh, man, that's like music to my ears, dog. This is music that reminds you probably Donna and the whole deal. Dylan, Emily Valentine, Brenda. Emily Valentine. Hey, yo, man, remember when my homie shot himself? I do remember that. Yeah, man. You don't play with guns. Scott, that was my homeboy. Some real serious issues on 92. There was date rape with Kelly Martin. Remember when I started hitting crystal meth? That's right. You got into crystal meth. You did. You did. You were doing math. I did math all through college, man. Right, all through college. I think there was the one girl that was like 20 years older than everyone else. Andrea. Andrea. What was that? Andrea. Cutest one on the show. Andrea. Cutest one on the show. Yo, dog. I'm going to have to take exception to that. I thought she was pretty cute. I need to bring Woods back for a minute. Are you out of your mind? No, I'm not. I thought she was bookish and cute. Ew.
I don't know if I can work here anymore. I'm sorry. She's not the cutest one on the show. She was like the mother hen. She was like the one that everyone's like, why is she on the show? Her brains made her a lot cuter. Oh, she's like Lisa Simpson. Andrea? She's so annoying. Andrea was great. In a second. Silence. Weird. I'd have dated her in a second. Right, guys? Was it 10 o'clock yet? Aren't all you guys with me in the audience? Wouldn't every guy listening? Picked Andrea? Zuckerman? Andrea Zuckerman! Oh, I know why he likes her. I know why he likes her. I just figured it out. She married a Mexican bartender. Did she? Yeah, Jessie. Why do I know this? You are a trivia. We all watch 90210. I know every episode. You know what? A solo.
Get away from Bren for a while. Oh, yeah? Is that right, Dylan? Things weren't working out with Bren, so I was like, you know what? I just need to jump in the Porsche and take it up to 101. Hey, Brandon. Brandon, if you need me, I'll be at the Peach Pit or I'll be at the beach. Okay. Matthew McConaughey was on Night Out. I don't know. Who was that? Really? Who was that? I'll be at the beach, Kel. Who? I'll be at the beach, Kelly. Who is that? It's Dylan. Why are you talking like this? No, it is. That's Neil Diamond. Or is it Eskimo Blue Water? Topper. I hate all of you so much. Bottom line is, Brian Austin Green got Megan Fox. Lucky man. What must it take, by the way? He doesn't have money. I say it facetiously, but Brian Austin Green had something that the rest of us dudes did not. He had her flower, didn't he? Yeah.
No, no, no. I just vomited in my mouth. Me too. No, she said that there's been like three or four guys. Look at L.O.B. with her guilty. I bet he took her flower. Her flower? No, but I think I'm almost, she's like, he's her first real love. And so she's just like hooked on him. Really? I think that's what it is. Please never do that again. Do what? What Woods just did. I didn't do that. Let's just not do it again. Hey, I didn't do it. L.O.B.? Yes. She is a little creep. I don't even know what happened. I don't want to know. She's the dirtiest birdie. She's the dirtiest bird I've ever met. There is no birdie dirtier. Quite as dirty. There's no birdie quite as dirty. Nice work. What? As that. What in the world? Even Jay? That's that dirty birdie right there. A flower. Oh, wow. 570-1949 is our phone number. Oh, boy. Bye, Mikey. See you later, Val. Bye, boys. This is how you should watch the webcam. Yeah, you can watch it. Go to MikeyShow.com. You can check out our webcam. Watch a kid chewing on straws real good. Watch me being a creep. Happens a lot. A lot. See me being over here all chubby with a beard. Yeah, he's got a beard now. No more goatee. You doing that for the ratings over there, Mikey?
No, well, I'm not doing it for the ratings. Yeah, we're a radio show anyway, not a TV show. You guys see the last ratings, by the way? Yeah. No. What? Not me. Bet you're not so mad at me now with all the rap stuff, are you? Oh, wow. I ain't mad at you. I never was. You know L.O.B. wasn't mad. I told you the rap was a good idea. And I knew as soon as you guys saw the ratings, it would be a done deal. You're so smart, oil. Still haven't made that switch over yet, though. No, I'm talking to Garrett about it. We're working on it. We've got to get the format all hoiled in. You've got to hoil your craft. We're going to be a hip-hop station. Is that the word? Yep. For those of you that don't know it, you can print it in the UT if you want. The UT. I'll press release it right now. Do you even know what the UT stands for? Yeah, it stands for the under-tribune. Union. That's what I'm excited. Mama, don't let him read the paper. I'm going to say it right now. KBZT is officially becoming a hip hop radio station. Wow. That's a bold statement. Do we get to meet any of the artists? And by meet, I mean, she means slay. I mean, yes, Lauren, you will get to meet 50 cents. You'll get to meet. It's bitty. I'll introduce you to Snoopy. I'll introduce you to all of them. Wow. You sound like you're real tight with all of them. I am real tight with them. I practically grew up in their neighborhood. In Mobile.
Mobile, Alabama. Tough side. Tough side. The choir gang side. You know, if y'all were smart, you know what you'd do if you're smart? What? And I don't mean to criticize. If y'all were smart, you'd get on what's happening in pop culture. How come y'all haven't got any Vuvuzuelas in here? Oh, yeah. Like at the World Cup. Nobody likes us. They're kind of annoying. They're annoying. Really? Nobody likes them? Is that why the World Cup is so popular right now? Because nobody likes Vuvuzuela? They like the sport. I don't think it's called Vuvuzela. Isn't it? Vuvuzela. Ask Mikey. He probably knows. How do I know what it's called? I don't know what they're called. Vuvuzela. What did you say? Vuvuzela. Right. Why don't you get one? Maybe we will. Make them part of your daily bits. Africans seem to think they're good. If Africans can use them, you can use them. It's all about demographics, y'all. Fair enough. We'll get one. Nobody liked Elvis at first, neither. And somebody got some scents in their heads, and then look what happened to Elvis. That's true. He grew up, didn't he? Gyrating. Hey, Mikey. Mikey's going to be the first to tell you overweight jokes are funny, right? What are you talking about? I'm just saying, you've got to latch on to what's working. If the vuvuzuelas are what's working, Mikey should be telling chub-chub jokes. That's not very nice, dude. Y'all don't get it, man.
I ain't going to try to keep teaching you, Nan. That poorly little Mexican over there probably kisses his lucky tamales that his heritage has food so rich in fat and carbohydrates. Oh, my gosh. His heritage. He's not PC. That is so mean. He doesn't like Mexican people. I do, too. Oh, do you? I ordered tapas last night. That's Spanish. That's Spanish. And what's the difference? In Spain, they tapas. Not in Mexico. What part of Mexico is Spain in? Spain's in Europe. It's not even close to each other. Mexico's below the U.S. Below the belt. Listen, folks, I've been looking at my stopwatch. It's probably time to get back to some funny. Yeah, right. Okay, maybe you should get off the mic. Really? Maybe let us get back to being dynamic. All right, well, maybe I'd do some your mama jokes. I'm all the way in? Yeah, I would definitely do that. We haven't done that for a while. That's true. You ready? Yep. Your mama's so fat. When she ran away, they had to put her picture on the milk truck. Instead of the milk carton. I think your delivery could have been a little bit better on that one, Hoyle. Yeah, on the milk truck. Emphasis on the track. You didn't learn that in comedy school, did you? I went to two years of comedy school. Did I mention that? Several hundred times.
Your mama's so fat when she dances at a club, the band skips. That was better. Your mama's so fat on Halloween, she trick-or-treats two houses at a time. That's so gross. Your mama's so fat. Your mama's so fat. They had to grease the door frame and hold a Twinkie on the other side to get her through. Whoa. Oh, my gosh. Your mama's so fat, when she gets in an elevator, it has to go down. I like that one, too. Your mama's so fat.
When she is diagnosed with the flesh-eating disease, the doctors gave her five years to live. That's so gross. Five years to live. Mama's so fat. The back of her neck looks like a pack of hot dogs. I've heard that one. That was good. Oh, gosh. Holy crap, I've never heard that. It's good. I got one more. Okay, good. Oh, good. Your mom is so fat, she DJs for the ice cream truck. What? Oh, wow. Pretty good, well. Wow. Holy crap. Y'all gotta do it. Your mama's so fat. I agree. Yeah, those are pretty good. I agree. My God. Wrong. 570-1949. You know, there's this show called Last Comic Standing with a comedian on it right now named Felipe Esparza. Weird. Take a listen. I ride the bus now because I care about the earth. I think more people would take the bus if all the windows were tinted.
That's true. When you have no seat, you're like holding on. The further you get in that bus, the uglier and creepier people get. The back of the bus looks like a bar from Star Wars. That's pretty good. That's solid. We don't like your time, homie. Felipe Esparza. That is so true. I bet you he's right. I've had to take the bus before. And when you get to like a stoplight, you're just like looking at the people in their cars on the street. I'm like, yeah, you think you're better than me? Yeah, you're better than me. Big timer. And you're Pinto. That's funny because I used to ride the bus when I was a kid. And I would look at the people in their cars and I would go, yeah, you're better than me. Yeah, you're better than me. I took the bus one.
time in Chicago. I took the train everywhere and walked. Couldn't figure it out. He used to take the bus to go fishing. I know. Shocking. That's a great story. Where does this guy stop? Can I take my bait and tackle on board? That is the craziest thing. Now they would drop me off at a bus. Where? In Gilroy? And you'd go fish in a creek. That is a little tackle box. By yourself. A little tackle box. By yourself. My fishing pole. Do you wear overalls? Really? L-O-B? Holy crap. Oh, shush. Yeah, I wish I had a picture of you in your overalls. A little piece of weed sticking out of your mouth? Yeah. Handkerchief tied to a stick over your shoulder. Filled with fish. Little hobo Mikey bringing home some fish for dinner. So cute. Did you ever catch anything? Dude, I caught the weirdest fish there one time. I wonder why. I did. I caught this. Two-headed? Dude, I caught this gigantic fish that I could not identify. It wasn't a trout. It wasn't a catfish. Catfish are gross. It was like a cout. It was like a catfish trout. Oh, gross.
It was a trap fish. It was a trap fish. I was just watching that show River Monsters. Oh, my gosh. This dude, they were showing this show about how in India it had eaten a 17-year-old person. Ew, a fish? And so this dude goes and he's like, and he's going to try to find and see if it's real, if these catfish this big really exist. They do. They do. In fact. I know a guy in the military said that he worked with a guy that said that there was a bus accident one time in the Mississippi River. And he had to get in there in a scuba gear. And he came back up right away. He said, I'll never get in that water again. I'm out. He said, I'll never get in the Mississippi River again. He said, why? He said, I saw a catfish that was in the Mississippi River. That was the size of a small car. Oh, my God. Guys in the military jumped right out of there. So I'm never getting back in there again. Catfish can get big enough to swallow people. Oh, my gosh. And this catfish that this guy in the show, he's a professional angler. And he takes deep sea fishing gear to rivers. And he pulls stuff out of there. And when he pulls them out, you go. And it's real.
It's a real thing. I gotta watch this show. Dude, it's... I watch this show with my jaw open and I pause it and I go, Babe! Babe! Babe, come here. Come here. And she goes, Is it that river show? And I go, Yeah, baby. You gotta see this. You gotta see it. Terrifying. Grizzly Bear. Did you? I did. I heard that interview. It was a good interview. Coachella? Yeah, Coachella. It was such a nice thing. Watch the Pretenders in High Definition. Last night, right before I went to bed. The band? The Pretenders. Yeah, the Pretenders were on this thing. It's like the Palladium channel. Love that channel. I don't get it. Dude, it's good. And Pretenders are actually going to be on tonight's 8 o'clock album of the week. 8 o'clock album. Tonight. Tonight. So Pretenders, the Pretenders is good. Go ahead and take a guess how many records Michael Jackson has sold since he died. And then I'll tell you when you get that.

Don't go to the doctor.
It's in my family. We don't go to the doctor. I like a beer belly. I'm going to tell you that right now. And Jay. I was the guy most voted most likely to snap on FM 94.9. Jay's picking the music. It's Tequila Sunrise. It's a good one. It's a real good one. God, it's honey in my ears, man. Good job, Jay. Okay. Woodsy, how many records do you think Michael Jackson sold since his death? Four million. LOB? No idea. 20 million. How many, Sienna? 35 million. Get out of town. Within the last year. That is a lot of records, man. 35 million records. That's a lot. That's a lot of records. It includes Jackson 5, everything. Yeah, still. That's a ton of records.
Wow. And his estate gets it, his family. Yep. It's a lot of money. Yeah. Yeah. 570-1949 is our number. Woodsy and I like to do fake interviews. And they're called soundboard interviews. You can find soundboard. You just Google soundboard. You can go to your computer and you can sit there and you can make different celebrities talk because every button has a different thing they say. Go to your computer and play with yourself if you like. So this time, well, you'll see who I interviewed. Oh, wow. This is a really important moment in my career and I'm sure your career. I'm sitting here with Kanye West. Kanye, I am so, so happy to be sitting here with you. Thank you for joining me, first of all. Shut up. Okay. I haven't said anything yet. Let me ask you, Kanye.
Yeah. Let me ask you, what was it like that moment that you got up in front of everybody, the world on MTV and you interrupted Taylor Swift in the middle of her moment and you ended her moment? What was it? Tell me about that. You cannot offend a robot. She's not a robot. I'm not a robot. I'm a robot. Maybe you are a robot. Are you drunk? And I want you to be honest with me. Stop talking to me. I can't stop talking to you or we're doing an interview. I can't. I have to ask you a question because that's the way it is. If you look at the situation and you ask yourself, why did I get up in front of the world and do what I did to Taylor Swift? What comes to you? What is it? I'm doing pretty good as far as geniuses go. I know, but that wasn't really a genius move, man. Yes. Look, man. Go ahead. And I'd rather be hated for what I am than love for what I'm not. That was a non-sequitur because you put the word and before you said anything. Stop talking to me. Okay. I'm not trying to incite you. I'm not trying to get you upset. I'm just trying. It's not a matter of, it's a matter of, you just. Go ahead. Go ahead. I mean, you know, so. All right. Thank you. Kanye West, everybody. Speaking gibberish. Yeah. Angry. Didn't understand a word he said.
We have new releases that are coming out today. Mm-hmm. New in DVD and in music and the whole nine. Yes. Out today, Scissor Sisters Night Work. What kind of music is that? Roller skate to it. Yeah. You shoot the duck. You shoot the duck to this. I'm out when I hit it. Also, the dream Love King. I'm all in. Mikey, it sounds like you on your auto-tune app. Yeah, I played the auto-tune app yesterday for all the kids. Do those save and record? Do they save? I have it. You want to hear it? You know I want to hear it. To my... Man purse? Yes, Woods. It's in my man purse. Right in the front. That's exactly what it is. It's a nurse. Careful, Woods. These things are skinny. That's... Really?
I have the auto-tune app on my phone. And yesterday, I was showing everybody how it worked. So much fun. You were being really weird. Yeah, you were. What was his catchphrase? I wish I could remember. Me too. I didn't know what to sing into it. What was it? What are you supposed to do? I kept singing, I love my auto-tunes. He kept trying to sing in auto-tune. Okay, here we go. I'm amazing. When I'm looking at woods, I'm amazing. Of course, woods. I'm amazing. You're amazing. What? I think that I am amazing. John over here. Amazing. Amazing. That's our meeting. That was our meeting. That's what we do for a living. I'm amazing. That's what it was. Yo, what's up? I love you so much. And to get auto-toned. I believe it. So funny. We are darts. I'm amazing. That's what we kept saying afterwards. You're amazing. I didn't know what to do in it. I know. It's awkward. When I'm looking at woods. I'm amazing. When I'm looking at woods. Thanks, pal. I was looking at you when I was doing it. You are always looking at each other. Disgusting. Mike, you may be excited about this next release. Kenny G. I dare you. I dare you. I dare you.
Whoa, lyrics. He's throwing that clarinet down. Saxophone. Clarinet. It's actually pretty. A dollar. I'm playing that sax real sweetly. Here's a dollar. Write me down. It's like that clown playing clarinet. Sounds like Robin Thicke or something. Yeah, who's singing? More like Robin Thicke. That doesn't even make sense. He doesn't even make sense. I met him and he is really nice and really good looking. Really? Oh, I have a couple picks. I don't know. Oh, yeah. No, he was one of those guys that...
When you met him, he said back your name, and then he was like, oh, it was so nice to meet you, Sienna, like later on. I was like, wow. That's a gift. I can't do that. Great. His dad, Alan Thicke from Growing Pains, is like, my son's gay. Great. Really? I thought it was good music. He's a good little weird guy. You didn't like that song? No! I didn't like that song. I thought everybody did. He's so mad. God. Robin Thicke. I thought everyone liked that song. No, don't play it, Mike. Please don't play it. Come on. Oh, really? It's gorgeous. Really? Are we so above it? Are we so above it? This one goes out to you, Woods. This is a dude, mind you. Listen. This is a pervert zone. This one goes out to all you perverts listening this afternoon. Ladies and gentlemen, here at K-Wave 97 FM, it's Michael Shannon with Robin Thicke to all the perverts listening in the Monterey Bay. K-Wave. What's the difference between this and DeBarge? He knows every girl is going to melt. Since when is DeBarge cool? What's DeBarge? What is DeBarge? They were a hit. Really? Michael Jackson? What about when Michael Jackson sang? Here's one that you may like, Woods. What? Papa Roach, to be loved, is the best of. I saw him in a concert one time with Eminem. Not bad. Papa Roach is okay, but...
They don't really meet up to my musical expectations on this. Is that Woods' music now? Yes, their sophomore effort was much better. Or is that Neil Diamond? This album is so obtuse. Gosh. How do I get up to your level, Woods? Sorry, I'm a musician. Oh, wow. Are you? Aren't I? Not really. Then we're going to ban those peanuts. Don't, don't. No, no, no, no. Don't do it. We've heard it too many times. Please, we beg you not to. Here he comes. We're begging you. We're begging you. We're begging you. He's going to break that guitar. Sour. Now can we hear sweet? Keep in mind, all one chord. Sweet now. You better not burn my peanuts. You better not, better not, better not, better not, better not burn my peanuts. Wow. Gorgeous. Wow. I'm sorry. I have to give it up. I have to give it up for sweet peanuts. You changed it up a little bit. Sweet peanuts are good. I've been working on it. Those are honey roasted. They're real honey roasted. Maybe you are a musician after all. It is honey roasted.
That's great. And another album out today, Wolf Parade Expo 86. You can't make up band names. You have to actually. It's actually a really good mic. This is a guitar juggernaut actually. It's a bit frantic at times. It's a great album. The whole thing's a metaphor. The whole thing is a metaphor. Dorks. What is that? The whole thing's a metaphor. I don't speak that way. Woods being very heady. Yes. I've never talked that way. Three big movies on DVD today. The Crazies, Hot Tub Time Machine, and Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief. The band's name is Against Me. Jay picking the music today. Leo DiCaprio.

I'd quit if it was that big of a deal. I'm very lucky. And any time I hear myself complaining about anything having to do with my life, I make myself nauseous. I misunderstood. I thought he was complaining. Yeah, he wasn't. He wasn't now. I feel like a jerk. I feel that way sometimes, too. Like a jerk. Yeah, we all do. Just put my foot in my mouth. It's a dollar, by the way.
It's a dollar. Is it? 100%. You screwed it up. Yeah. Totally misunderstood. How much did we make today? Let's see. $7 just today. Kangaroo court. I'm worried. What? Well, we're going to have to cut a check or something. Yeah. You know what I mean? I mean, Lauren is going to have to take a loan. And what are we going to do then? I'm going to have to sell blood. Yeah. Allegedly. 570-1949. Let's see. This was Letterman last night. on how hot it was in Washington, D.C. So hot down in Washington, D.C. today that President Obama was fanning himself with his birth certificate. To Woodsy. Woodsy didn't like that bit. Look at that one. Can't find it. Yeah, it's just going to let him be the president without really knowing. He can't find it. Okay. He says he can't find it. Okay. Where's yours? Where's mine? Uh-huh. At home. Where? In our safe. You sure? Yeah.
Mikey. Positive. I'm not sure I'm positive. Hey, can I say something that might spin you out? Yeah. I think I'm going to go see Eclipse tonight with Jamie. Oh, boy. At midnight. Okay. I'm just going to stay up and come to work. No. Mike, you know he's not going to. He's not. I'm going to go home and sleep. Why did you do that to me? Just block it out. No, dude. I'm going to go home and sleep. I can't, though, Sienna. Right now, it's like, wah, wah, wah, Charlie Brown's teacher. He knows it upsets me, and he's just, you know. I'm going to go home and sleep. She really wants to see it. Deep breath. I'm going to throw up. You're going to go to bed now and wake up at 11. Yeah, I'm going to go to bed now and wake up at 11. I'm just going to stay up until it's time to come to work. There's nothing wrong with that. No. He's trying to make you upset. I know. Will that spin you out? You woke up at 12.50 this morning. Yes, this morning. He's going to wake up at 11. I went to bed at 6. I'm going to bed at 10.45. A.M.? A.M. You're going to go home and go to bed? Yes. Woods, really? Yeah, and then I'm going to go to the movies at midnight with Jamie. She really wants to go. No, you have to. No. Yeah, I'm just going to stay up. Because you would have had to have gotten those tickets way in advance. No, she's in line right now. No, she's not. She just texted me. Let me see.
What does it say? There was nothing there. What? I fall for it every time. I debated, should I play that? No. No. How do I fall for it? He called her a dumb dumb. A 35-year-old man. I'm a dumb dumb. Are those Matty Bars? I love Nutty Mark. Gosh, man. I had him. I had him. The hook had just started to sink in his little lip. You didn't have him. No, you didn't. I had him. I had him. Mike, come on. I'm glad you did the right thing. You're as gullible as L.O.B. I know. Come on. Come on. Izzy. It's pretty gullible. So, a few things happening that we want to tell you about. Apparently, Salma Hayek. Had a little freak out, and she's trying to defend it. What did she do? Try and look on YouTube. What did she do? I guess she was on camera during a recent interview, and she jumped out of her chair and climbed onto her co-star because she spotted a snake. I see nothing wrong with that. I don't blame her. She's seen nothing wrong with that. She's in the new movie Grown Ups, so she was doing an interview for that. Where? In the jungle? Amazon. In the Amazon jungle?
She was in the reptile house at the zoo, actually. She said she saw a snake during a recent junket interview for grownups. There's probably like a cable from the cameras. I would have pooed. I would have been so scared. I hate snakes. She said the worst part was everybody ran and they left us alone. Because she's being interviewed. So everyone's like, ah, snake! Where would the snake be? I don't know. That's weird. M1 Brett from North Park. Are you there? Hey, Mikey. What's up, my brother? How are you? Hey, I'm good, man. How are you doing? Good, bro. Excellent, excellent, man. Well, I just wanted to talk to you personally and say that, you know, after the whole ordeal went down with, you know, the whole morning show thing, man, I have decided that, you know, Mikey in the morning on 94.9 is where I'm going to be every single morning. Yeah. Thank you, bro. I want to say, like I said, personally to you, thank you for everything you've done and making me crack up every morning, my brother. Thank you, Brett. We appreciate you. It's very nice of you. He does. It's very nice. I want to let people know that tickets are still available for Comic Con. Okay, people may have just crashed their car because they've been sold out for a long... Why are you doing the fingers? Because that's the international sign for a Vulcan to say hello. It's a salutation. It's the way that you say hello to another. I don't know if it's right or left. LLB, you probably know. Right hand, I believe. You gotta put the thumb out. Thumb out. I don't know. She goes like this.
I did not. This is a regular hand. I don't know. I have no idea. I like Superman. Well, okay. Now, don't get too excited, but this, I found this, and it said yesterday as of 10 a.m., there were a limited number of four-day passes that were opened up as a part of a hotel package. Now, I don't know what hotel, but there were some of the Mission Valley hotels, and these deals range from $600 to $700 per person. Dollars. And you also get three or more night stays at these hotels. So they have, the hotels must have gotten these Comic-Con passes in advance, and they just put them on their website and everything. So if you've been dying to go to Comic-Con this summer, check into that. Like I said, they don't list the hotels, but it's something, you know, to check out. It's sold out. You can't, no one can go. It's sold out? Oh, yeah. Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, it's been sold out. Oh, yeah, we talked about it months ago. It was sold out immediately. Wow. You ever been? Never. I never have. I'd like to. I'd like to experience and see what it's like. LLB worked it. I did. I worked there. I wouldn't go again. Too many people. I just, like, I don't like big crowds. I started hyperventilating. Got lost. Oh, my goodness. Can you imagine LLB and the big old group of people like that? Wouldn't pay for parking. Oh, my God. No, I didn't. I took this shuttle over every morning. I lost my voice. I was teaching role-playing games all day. Whoa.
Another thing really quick, too. It also says at noon yesterday, Comic-Con offered returned memberships through their website. The passes were only available for a limited amount of time. And I guess people were complaining because they already sold out in eight minutes. But then these same fans that were complaining on Twitter about being sold out said that they did get them minutes later. So I don't know if they're still there, but check it out on the website. Go on Twitter, look around, and then check out those Mission Valley hotels. I'll be maybe the Black Lantern will be there. Who's that? He sounds hot. Yeah. You ever seen the Black Lantern? No. You familiar with that comic? Nope. Hey, what's up, girl? Poor Lauren. We give her the hardest time. Everywhere we go. You say one thing. You say you're attracted to a certain race. Now, everywhere we go, we see a black guy, we're like, L.O.B. You can't say that every time. Every time. Single time. Every time. It's never going to go away. I started saying it to myself. L.O.B. Lauren, you see that? Did you know, this will pertain to L.O.B. You like salmon? Yeah. You do?
Get ready for the genetically altered salmon that may be approved to eat. Yes. What are they doing? The FDA is seriously considering whether or not to approve the first genetically engineered animal, which is the salmon. And, yeah, people would eat it. And I saw a picture, and it's a regular-sized salmon that they literally doubled. And so they're saying that, you know. Salmons are already giant. Yeah. Tell you what, humans are next. Really? Yeah. You think? Yeah. You're going to go to like a doctor and say, yeah, I want a baby with blonde hair, blue eyes. Can't you already? I think you can. I don't know. I just want one for spare parts. Environmental groups obviously don't like this idea, but people are looking into it and they're saying it looks like it's going to work. Salmon can grow at twice the normal rate of any other fish, I guess. There's no other fish that makes me crinkle my nose. I don't like salmon. Then salmon? Somebody orders salmon at a restaurant and I'm always like, Really? I don't like it anymore. I like the cooked salmon's good. It has to be the wild and it has to be cooked perfectly. Yeah. Still tastes so fishy. No, it's not that fishy. Super fishy. I don't eat anything fishy. You've had the wrong salmon then. Yeah, you've had the wrong salmon. You guys tell me a great place to go for it then because I'm telling you, every time I've ever tasted it, I'm like... Sam's wedding, that salmon was delicious. Didn't get anywhere near it. I didn't even have it at my own wedding. Didn't get anywhere near it. I worked at...
Sammy's wood-fired pizza for years, and they had really good salmon. Salmon pizza? Sammy's wood-fired pizza. No, it's just salmon. They serve chicken and steak and stuff there, too. I was about to go through the roof. Yeah. Wild Note Cafe. They have delicious wild salmon. Hilary, do you like salmon? I do, but my husband hates it. So I'm the one that always orders it at restaurants because I rarely cook it at home. It's hard. When I cook it at home, I always mess it up. It's because it's... fish oil in it. That's what's so good for you. It is so good for you. It's good for your short-term memory, Mike. My three-year-old eats salmon. It's like I'm eating whiskas. I think what turned me off is my nanny when I was growing up used to make salmon patties. That's a little weird. We buy them at Trader Joe's for salmon burgers. Throw some mustard on there. Let me tell you. Let me tell you. The greatest place to eat, especially breakfast, the greatest place to eat is Hash House of Go-Go. 1,000%. They make the greatest breakfast. Now, I don't know if I told you this story. I love it. When Rebecca did a little 5K one time at Balboa Park, when she was done, we all went to breakfast at Hash House.
Her mom was there, and we were all congratulating her for running this thing. We go in. Her mom orders the salmon hash. Now, there's no doubt about it. Delicious, right? Yes, I've had it. It's absolutely great. It's the middle of summertime. My wife doesn't like fish at all. She doesn't really like fish. If it comes from the water, she won't even look at it. She doesn't want anything to do with it. No. So her mom, when she's, you know, because you know at Hash House they serve you these giant portions. So her mom goes, oh, I'll take that to go. So they put it in the white styrofoam. They wrap it up in the bag. We get in the car. And Rebecca's like. Gagging. Try heaving. Yeah. She just ran a 5K. 5K. Okay. So we take it home. And she's like, and we all get out. We hug and blah, blah, blah. And we go inside and da, da, da. Well, we go to church Saturday night. Okay. I forgot it in the car. Her mom forgot it in the car. Salmon hash. Salmon hash in the car. So it sat and baked in the vehicle, in the garage. Baked salmon hash. Baked salmon hash all day. And Rebecca opens the car door and goes... You had to take another car, right? Yeah, we did. You had to sell that car? He bought a new car the next day. That's disgusting. It was bad.
Yeah, and I'm telling you that that food is delicious. So, you know, wasn't the food. It was just, if you don't like fish. Hash house is so good. It's the best. But if you don't like fish, forget it. It ain't going to happen. 570-1949 is our number. And you want to dock me a dollar for that? Yes, I do. I mean, my computer made a noise. We're all going to be poor. I know. $3 for the kid and Mike today. I messed up. What do you got coming up, Hill? Oh, I grabbed Pearl Jam and Ramones and Phoenix and Broken Bells and Joe Jackson. LCD sound system. All good stuff. Very good. Very good. Let's see. Lovely and talented Hillary is up next. Enjoy the rest of your day. And we'll come back here tomorrow morning at 6 o'clock and do it all over again. Mike shows up late.
Lincoln Financial Media Station. Mikey in the Morning. About the music all day and night. FM 94.9. It's about the music.
