Breaking news here in San Diego. We're going to give you in just a second. Hang on. Did I tell you I'm thinking about getting those custom molded headphones that you see when the people are on stage that they wear? Singers? Like the Garth Brooks bit? I used to call it the Garth Brooks. No, because that's a wire that comes around your mouth. I'll always talk into my microphone, but for headphones, I'm considering doing those things that you see. The monitors. The monitors. Yeah. Inner ear monitors. They put this thing that looks like spackle in your ear, and it's pink. They press it, and it goes inside your ear, and they take a mold of your ear, and they send it away to this company, and they make a little headphone for you that just pops in your ear. Cool. When I jammed with that band, One Louder, I went up to play with him and sing a song, and he gave me his ear monitor, and I put it in. I'd never used a monitor before.
Tripped me out so bad. But was his custom to his ear, or was it just one of those regular ones? I think it was a regular one, but it was still that weird, like, you're hearing everything through right in your ear. It's very strange. It'll be weird. You just put it in every day, though. No way. Really? No way. We put our headphones on every day. I know, but we just go like that. You slap them on. Slap them on, slap them off. Doesn't bother me. Love it. Got a finger ear. Oh, well. Uh-oh. Get it in there real good. Jay's back. Holy cow. Kick it off. Just make it right. That's right. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Woodsy is our sports guy. He's 35 years old. He's wearing a comfortable looking t-shirt today. You're fat. Okay. Wow. Just out of the chute. I know. Just right on the gate. Ready to go. Son of a gun. Holy cow. Lauren O'Brien is our assistant producer. And she is 30 years of age. She's got a boyfriend named. Matt Commerce, we call him BFMC. He's coming back today. He's back in town. That's right. Tonight. Where was he? He's been on the East Coast for 10 days. Oh, wow. I bet the mouse has just been playing and playing and playing. The mouse has been getting healthy. Oh, wow. Running in the wheel. There you go. Eating the low-fat cheese. Yeah. A lot of milk to give away. Oh, my God. Nice milk? Yesterday, Jay's entire review was based on...
Just, hey, man, take it easy on me, will you? You know, just know that I have a tender little heart, you know? And Jay looked at me and he goes like this. He goes, you got it, Mackie. No problem. I ain't got a problem with that. Just two uppercuts right out of the, you know. Ask and answer. Hey, dude, all you gotta do is ask and answer. No more. No more. Ain't no more. I'm good. It's meeting over. We're done. That's all I need, David. You say jump, I say high. High, high. Clearly higher than you. Yeah, I mean, definitely. Definitely higher than you. And wiener. And wiener. Not Anthony. Now, Sienna is our news girl. She's 26 years of age and has a dog that she ignores named Zipper. I don't. I don't ignore her. I love her. Left on the floor next to me last night. Oh, on the floor. Oh, used to be in the bed. Wow. Used to be. Yeah. Jay is our producer. So kind-hearted. And the guy can build anything. He's 48 years of age. He's a bit of a pervert. And our phone screener is Chris. It's gross. That's gross. The word of the day today is wolf. When I say the word wolf,
Between now and 10, caller number nine gets a four-pack of tickets to the fair and also lunch for two people at Smashburger. Feast, literally. 570-1949 is the number if you want to give us a call. M1 Mooch plus M1 Pepsi are calling in from Japan. Hello. Mikey, what's going on, dude? Good morning. Uh, it's actually good night here, but good morning to you guys back in the state. What time is it there? Uh, it is, uh, 2200 or 10 o'clock. There you go. And, uh, now who is this? This is Mooch. Okay. And M1 Pepsi's on the line as well? Yes. Hey, Mikey. How you doing, man? You guys both military?
Yep. Yeah, dude, we did some North Coast stuff with you. Nice. And you guys are out there in the military right now, and when do you come back? I may be back in two years, and Pepsi just got here, so we've got at least three more years. Right on. Wow. Right on. Well, I'm glad you guys are listening online. Yeah, listening through an app. There you go. Nice. Yeah. Very cool, dude. Japan is so... Yes. They're progressive with their technology. They are. Stay away from those geishas over there. That's right. Gentlemen. All right. Every night before going to bed, just like bringing home with you. There you go. Love you guys, and thank you for calling in. All right, brother. Good talking to us. All right, man. We'll see you. Emma Ninja from Claremont. Are you there? I am here. Good morning, guys. What's going on, Ninja? So I just want to say hi. I haven't really chatted with you guys in a while. I was calling because I had to be up early this morning. My dog, Carlito, is sick. Uh-oh. And, yeah, and so I get to wake up with you guys. What's the matter with Carlito? He ate a block of cheese. What happens when the dog eats a block of cheese? They start to vomit violently. Especially, he's a little guy. He's half chihuahua and half Italian greyhound. Is he going to be okay?
Of course he will. Did you give him some peroxide? No, but I'm going to take him in. He stopped throwing up about an hour ago. Penny Bell is eating a whole Hershey's bar. We had to give her peroxide to make her throw up. She threw it all up. Terrible. It's a real treat. Oh, gosh. Don't faint it, Mikey. Mikey, you're faking right now. I'm not. Mikey! Be sad. I am. Be real sad. That's Carlito. That's her little angel. I asked if Carlito's going to be okay. Ninja, I'm so sorry. Yeah, I can tell. No, come on. What? Did you hear he was part chihuahua? Does that help? Yes, it should. Just because I'm Mexican doesn't mean that she tells me that he's a chihuahua. It's going to make a difference. Doesn't it? Doesn't it? All right, it makes a little bit of a difference, but not that much of a difference. Ninja, I'm so sorry. Thank you. I love you guys, and I'm glad that you're feeling better too, Mikey. Thank you. Ninja, I'm really sorry. Me too. Good. I am. As long as the dog's going to be okay, Carlito's going to be all right. Carlito. All right, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 570-1949 or text 949mikey at gmail.com. Breaking news. And we are following breaking news right now. It's coming out of La Mesa. Right now, a SWAT standoff still underway. Neighbors being evacuated. Police say a parolee threatened his wife and son and then barricaded himself inside of their home. And NBC7 San Diego's Monica Dean is live at the scene. She's been gathering.
All the information and brings us the very latest details. Monica, good morning. That's right, Marianne and Jason. Good morning to you. At this point, six homes in this neighborhood have been evacuated. Officers have been able to make some verbal contact with the suspect, but right now he is still holed up inside. We're here at the command post at Dallas Street and Blaine Place, and this standoff has been going on for more than seven hours now. Police say the man is 59-year-old William Warnock. They believe he has a handgun, a shotgun, and possibly a rifle inside his home. flashbangs to try to get him to come out. La Mesa police say this all began around 10 o'clock last night when they came to arrest Warnock, who is a parolee for assault with a deadly weapon and making criminal threats. That's after the man's wife
reported he had threatened her and their adult son earlier in the day. When officers arrived in the 6100 block of Blaine Place, all of the family members were safely out of the home, but that suspect barricaded himself inside. SWAT was called to the scene. They've been here overnight, and right now several agencies are involved in this operation. Within the last hour, officers have evacuated six homes nearby. Wow. It's pretty crazy when they've got to do that. Get rid of, you know. six different houses next to it because you don't know what the guy's got. That guy didn't want to go back to prison. No. At all. No, he did not. Tracy Morgan is back in the news. Oh my goodness, you guys. What'd he do? Now he has had some pretty bad comments about disabled people in his latest comedy. That's crazy! He was at Caroline's Comedy Club in New York City earlier this week. And now The Arc, which is a nonprofit advocacy group that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They're demanding an apology from him. Basically, this is what Tracy said to the crowd. Don't mess with women who have retarded kids. Them young retarded males is strong. They're strong like chimps. Then he talked about how he hooked up with a girl that he called a cripple.
with dialysis, with a machine and a prosthetic arm and was just going off. Yeah, now here's the thing. Now, here he is attacking disabled people. Specifically, he's saying retarded people. I have a son who's high-functioning autistic and I support Tracy Morgan's right to be able to say and make a joke about whatever he wants to. He can make those jokes. He can say whatever he wants to. He's a comedian. He has every right in the world to say it. I have every right in the world to not listen or to not go or to not, you know, that's what our country's about. And so we can't just pick and choose. Oh, well, that offends me personally. So that's not OK. Right. In other words, there's a there's a Jewish guy in there that hears him making fun of disabled people. And that's OK. And that's funny. But then if you make an anti-Semitic joke, he's upset. There's a person in there that's gay. He may be OK with the retarded joke, but don't make fun of gay people. It's like, listen, he's got a First Amendment right. He's able to say whatever he wants. I don't agree with what he's saying. I don't think what he's saying is funny, but he's got a right to say it. And that's my that's always been my take. That was my take on on the same deal with Don Imus, you know, and it's kind of the deal with us here, too.
You know, I think of us on the Mikey show in the same way. We have First Amendment rights. We may say and so everyone knows we're meant to be a comedy show. You know, we're meant to be a comedy show. We're meant to make you laugh. Occasionally we'll talk about our personal lives and occasionally we'll talk about stuff that's serious. But what we are meant to be is a comedy show. And so there may be a time where one of us makes a mistake or says something wrong. We shouldn't have to lose our jobs over it. Because we do have the right to free speech. If you don't like the comment, you just don't have to listen to it. Right. Yeah, I mean, unless you're spewing hate. Right. You know, and calling to action something nasty. Yeah. You know, and you still have a right to do that. You're just an idiot. Well. You know, you have a right to, they have a right to fire you for doing something like that. And listen, I personally, I, like, let's take, if there's another radio show here in San Diego. And one of the members of the show went on the air and said as a joke that they thought would be funny that you should kill babies. Right. I think that that's distasteful. And I wouldn't like it. But I think that they have the right to say it. And if I didn't like it to a point that was so compelling, then I don't listen anymore. Right. But I don't think that person should be fired. Well, okay. What if they said, hey, go beat up a gay guy today?
That is against the law. Right. So is killing babies. That's true. That's true. Well, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait. Okay. And I think that this is what I think is the most important. Context. I think context is the most important. If they made a joke about killing babies, about anything. Right. And you know and it's clear that the context of it is a joke. What you conclude from that is that it is a distasteful joke. If they are doing something or saying something that is clearly not a joke and calling to action, beating up a gay guy or killing a baby, that is irresponsible, in my opinion. Now you're doing something that's irresponsible. And so I think that's where I draw the distinction. If anybody wonders, well, how do we know if they're joking or not? Well, number one, are they an attorney or a comedian? Are they in a comedy club with a microphone in front of them? Are they in a place called Caroline's? Because you didn't go there to see a political speech. You didn't go there to vote. You went there to have a couple of pops and be made laugh. And if you were not made to laugh.
Because something offended you. All right. Now you know not to see that guy again. I mean, if that was the case, man, every white person in the world could boycott Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence. I mean, they make fun of white people. And man, when they do, I pee my pants from laughing. It's the funniest thing I've ever heard. And the very thing that gets me about it is that the very people that are upset, and in this case, it's people that have families probably. Yeah. Well, it's a non-profit advocacy group. It's ARC. Yeah, ARC. Okay, a non-profit advocacy group for people that are what? People with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Like my son. Yes. Okay, and this is what I'd like to ask all of those people. Have you ever made a joke about anything other than, well, I don't know, this? In other words, have you ever made a gay joke? Have you ever made a...
Black joke. Have you ever made a Mexican joke? Have you ever made a this joke? Have you ever made a that joke? As long as you haven't, then it's cool for you to go after Tracy Morgan. Right. But if you ever have, shut it. Yeah. Shut your mouth. Great point. Please. Great point. Please. I mean, listen, that's why I'm saying he's got every right to say it. And I got an autistic kid. I don't have to listen to Tracy Morgan. You know, and the truth is, is that I don't like that joke. But there's some stuff, Tracy Morgan says, that I think is pretty funny. That one's not going to make me laugh because I've lived through it. But, you know, he's got the right. Yeah, that guy's got bullseye on his chest right now. They're going to gun for him no matter what he says or does. I mean, I think the one thing that we've learned about Tracy Morgan is he's not very smart. He's not funny, I don't think, either. It sounds like he's been doing this kind of comedy for a while. He didn't just wake up and decide to be offensive. Exactly. Now, my guess is now it's TikTok, TikTok, TikTok on 30 Rock. You know, because 30 Rock didn't fire him when he made the gay comments, but now they'll probably have no choice. They'll probably have no choice. I mean, he shows an incredible...
uh lack of judgment but those two were actual jokes and the last guy was trying to say he wasn't making a joke he was on a hateful rant right so this is maybe just poor choice of content in a joke yeah but in the light in light of what happened there's no way the arc ceo said tracy morgan should apologize immediately this quote is far too offensive to be excused as comedy and it is very hurtful to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families they'll be fired soon You're probably right. I think that show will end. Dirty Rock? Yeah. The Padres are on a streak. Shot it. Woodsy. Shot it. Shot it. Woodsy has a deal where if the Padres win six games in a row. Ten games. No. If they win six games in a row, Woods has to shave a Friars cut. winning on his head. And his hair is getting long. It's long. I've been working so hard on it. And so, very soon, if they win three more games, and by the way, I think it happened with the Red Sox. When they won that series, I think that their mindset changed. Adrian Gonzalez, ironically, a Red Sox, told me one time, the game is 85% mental. And I think that they've made a mental hurdle. And now they are going...
To be on a streak. Well, they're on one now. They're on a three-game winning streak. Clayton Richard tossed seven innings last night. Gave up only two runs for his fourth win of the season. They beat the Royals 4-2. Cameron Mabin, three for three. Three in a row. How about that? How about that? I am nauseous. I can't wait. I just have to do it by the end of the year, right? Perfect. No. They win the sixth. Bam. You are on it. Let's see. Oh, so remember how we were talking about the woman that was flying to Michigan? She was an elderly woman. She was wearing an adult diaper, was going through security, and was forced to go into a restroom, remove the diaper, and it had to be inspected. And what were we all saying? We were saying, how dare they? Including me, by the way. Not me.
I was saying, yes, I think it should happen. Well, I dated her. I knew her. She's a junkie. Hey, Mike. For the record, it was only you dum-dums that said it. I said, take that broad in the can. Whip her. Whip her. X-ray her. Give her a CAT scan. Just pat her down. Now, I'm starting to agree with Jay. Starting to agree with Jay. And I'll even tell you what I said. I go, look. If it's an 85-year-old woman with a soiled diaper, let her through. And if the plane blows up, then we go, sorry, what were we supposed to do? It was an 85-year-old woman diaper. What do you want from me? You're going to blame me for this? Well...
Just last month in New York, a woman arrived at the JFK airport, and customs agents thought she was acting a little bit suspicious. And they haven't released her age, so I don't know if she's a younger person or if she's an elderly, but she was wearing an adult diaper. And they searched it, found 71 heroin pellets inside, and she also had 33 in her groin area. Well, that isn't a diaper in your groin area? It is. I think inside. No way. Like a mule? A mule? Yeah, yeah. That's what they call them, mules. Oh, wow. That. Okay, Jay. You're right. Do y'all get it? Do y'all get it? Do y'all get where the story's going? Do you get it? Do you get it? Mike, do you get it? Do you get it? Do you get it? See what happened there? Do you understand? He's making the connection. He's bouncing up and down. Mike, I bought a chalkboard. I'm going to draw something for you. Now, I want you to watch what I... Look at this, Mike. How's that grabbing you? Here's you. Here's the diaper. Here's the heroin. There's more heroin. See where that goes, Matt? I'm going to draw an era. Watch this, Sarah. We're at points. I got it, Jay. I'm going to connect the dots. No, I don't. I get it.
You don't have to connect anything. Hey, look, Mike. Now you see them. Now you don't. I know. I understand. See how that works? I've got to use this eraser. I'll just use my finger. Hold on. Let me lick my finger. Why is it clean here? Hold on. Hold on. What? I'm wiping the chalkboard. Now it's streaky. Creep, Jay. Creep. That's creepy, Uncle Jay. Helicopter. Helicopter. Helicopter. Helicopter. No, helicopter. in NATO, a NATO helicopter, actually. Helicopter, helicopter. Ended a siege at a Kabul hotel, right? Yeah, NATO helicopters. Helicopter, helicopter. Oh my gosh.
Early this morning, NATO helicopters fired rockets at gunmen who were actually on top of the roof of a Kabul hotel in Afghanistan, which ended a siege by Taliban militants that lasted more than four hours. Seven people were killed. More than seven people were killed. And Afghan officials said six suicide bombers attacked the hotel to whom were killed by hotel guards at the beginning of the attack, which was late Tuesday night. The other four, which were blew themselves up or were killed by the NATO rockets. I bet those NATO rockets, I bet they hurt. I bet they hurt the skin when they go off. That's a guess on my part. I wish that one of you had seen Battle Los Angeles, but none of you have, have you? I saw it. You did, Joy? Is it good? Oh, I liked it. Really? I think I want to get it or rent it. You should watch it for sure. I think I do want to. And this weekend I've asked Woods. to go to see Super 8. And he's agreed. Now, the only reason that he's agreed is because I basically have him hostage. True statement. And so, this weekend, Woods is going to see Super 8. You guys are making strides in your relationship. Yeah. It's a big day. Compromise. Well, I mean, you're right. Is it really strides, though, L.O.B., if it's a hostage situation? Well, you've got to start somewhere, right? Yeah.
We'll be in Phoenix together watching it because I won't have anywhere else to go. He is a good friend and a lover. Wow, relax. Put your tiny hand in mine. Oh, you guys are being fantastic. Neither of us are saying these things. Aren't you so inappropriate? Man. No, those are sound clips that Jay's playing, and I'm not saying that live on the radio. They were said at some time, though. He is a good friend and a lover. I didn't just say that. We get it. We get it. Put your tiny hand in mine. Woods didn't just say that. You guys. What about your wives? Are they going to have their feelings hurt? What about your wives? Stop holding hands. It's making me uncomfortable. Scale of one to ten, when MySpace came out, how big do you think it was? Ten. Ten. I think you're right. I think it was a ten. Scale of one to ten, how popular is Facebook? Twelve. Eight. Twenty. Eight. Oh, really? You don't, Sienna, you don't think Facebook is as popular as MySpace was? Well, MySpace was. Facebook was a ten, now it's an eight. Really? Yeah. See, I think it was an eight, now it's a ten. Me too. But what MySpace became victim of was something.
that came along that was cooler and more now. Is that going to happen to Facebook because of what I'm going to tell you? Mikey. And it isn't little guys. It isn't little guys. It's big, big guys. Now's our chance. Let's do it. More from the Mikey Show coming up. Be a part of the show. I don't think it's that simple. 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. Slow starter. Yeah, it always is. I just want to tell you about this, what's going on with Facebook and their new competitor. And it's not little guys. What I'm telling you is that it's not little guys. The old man that does acting at 7.30 this morning. Just write it down. I know. Write it down. Shh, quiet. Don't tell him because he'll start sniffing around. Mikey. Okay, so Sienna. Yeah. Who is going to be Facebook's competitor? Google. Oh, no. Hang on. Hang on. Take a listen.
It's called Google Plus, right? It's called Google Plus and they unveiled it yesterday. Now, basically, they sent out invitations to only a certain amount of people and those invitations are sent out from those people to their friends. So you have to wait to get an invitation or you can go to this certain link. I'm looking on all these different sites to find out how I can look into this. Brilliant, by the way. Yeah. Creates instant demand. You want to be a part of it. And you want to see it and you want to know and you want to know who has an invitation. You can't just go. Yeah. And they said that the main thing that they focused on is the Facebook's weakest thing. And it's privacy. You know, Facebook's had privacy problems for a while. All of our information has not all of ours, but most users information has been hacked and leaked. And they are saying there's no way that's going to happen. They also have Google social social network revolves around circles. Now, this is kind of confusing, but it says. It basically helps you segment the people that you know into a circle, like a family, friend, co-worker, so on. You can create as many different circles as you want. You drag a picture of the person into one of them if you want to add them to that circle, like family circles, groups of friends, whatever. And you can send out certain information to those different circles. Out. You know, like if I wanted to just... Out, why, woods? Immediately out. Why? It gives me the worst tired head. I just mastered this one.
I'm not mastering another one. I mastered it. You mastered Facebook years and years ago. Uh-uh, my friend. I just mastered this sucker this year. Good Z. Yeah, mastered. You know how to use Facebook. You've known. Finally. Oh, my gosh. I've mastered it now. They keep changing it. That's why you're saying that. Google Plus also has a news feed like Facebook, but it's called The Stream. And they have another related component called Sparks, which reveals posts related to one's specified interests. They have other new elements of the service that include Hangouts with video chats, huddles for group chats, and Sparks, which is a personalized recommendation service. Excuse, excuse, excuse, excuse. Woods is laying back in his chair with his eyes closed and his head back. Lauren O'Brien is looking at me right now, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. Question, Lauren. Yeah. Just yes or no. Okay. Were you or were you not a MySpace user? Yes. Woods, were you or were you not a MySpace user? Yes. Do you know what happened when they first said, you guys, have you tried Facebook? No. What is it? It's just blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And people probably went.
They did. Oh, boy. I have MySpace. MySpace is cool. I don't need Facebook. Yes, you did. I did not. You're an American. There's a difference, though. Yes, because Google already has established themselves as Google. I mean, people use Google as a noun, as a verb. I mean, it does what it does, and it does it well. Stop trying to be Facebook. Okay. You're not Facebook. Let me say this, then. They will be. You may or may not be right, but I'm going to make a prediction. I believe that this thing will take off. And the reason it will take off is because our culture has ADD and it wants something cool and new. And there is weakness in Facebook, even though I use it every day and love it and am addicted to it, like most people. This thing will take off. I don't see any weakness in Facebook. That's the other deal. Privacy. Privacy. Care less. I set my privacy settings and they work for me. Google had problems with their privacy with that stupid Google Buzz thing that they did, which was the most annoying thing. M1 Cam from Oceanside. Are you there? What was the word of the day? Wolf. Wolf was the word of the day. Congratulations, my friend. Four tickets to the fair and...
Lunch for two at Smashburger. Hang on the line, okay? Yay! Yeah! So the reason that they've given out a limited number of invitations to certain people is because obviously they're trying to figure out all the kinks with a small amount of people on first, and they know everyone's going to climb aboard. Like, this is going to be huge. And so each one that has been given access has 15 invitations they can pass on to friends, and then it will just keep spreading. So, you know, they're going to get these kinks figured out in the next couple weeks. And then by that time, more and more people will be on. That's how Gmail started. Yeah. Somebody send me an invitation and I'll sign up and give a report. Google Plus is what it's called. Somebody send one to the kid. Me too. Yeah. I want to try it. Me too. There's an entry. See? You instant. I want to see it. Brilliant. I want to see it. It's brilliant. But here's the deal. We're already on Twitter. If I got to be like, hey, it's Woods. You can hit me up on my Facebook page, my Twitter page, or my Google Plus. I'm going to lose my mind. Woods, I'll put your mind at rest then. You know what you don't tell people? You don't tell people to hit you up on your MySpace. Now, five years ago, you would have. Right. But I didn't have a Facebook and a Twitter. Facebook won't be relevant. Yes, it will. Did you guys see how much Facebook's worth, you guys? Yes, I did. Did you? Hang on.
I understand. I got you. I got you. But I want you to track with me here. And maybe you track, maybe you don't. But just try this on. Okay. At the height of MySpace, imagine if somebody said, MySpace isn't going anywhere. People would have been like, you're high. But MySpace didn't have a quarter of the users Facebook does. Not a quarter. You're right. But it had a lot of users. Sure. It had a lot of users. Sure. And Facebook, the reason that Facebook was popular is because it found the weakness in MySpace. Clutter. I don't want to deal with hearing the Ramones blasting as loud as possible when I go to some dude's website. And it started with the exclusivity, too, because it used to only be available to .edu people. Yeah, Facebook did. Yes, that's true. And I was all the way in. I was like, I want in this. I'm still cool even if I'm not a student. I bet they took that into account. in this Google thing. I'm sure. They said there was an exclusivity to what Facebook did in the beginning and it created a demand, high demand, and we'll do the same thing. The name Crystal Holloway is the name of a person who worked as a volunteer to try to find the body of Kaylee Anthony, Casey Anthony's daughter. George Anthony is Casey's father. And yesterday,
He got hit in the face with a verbal two-by-four. You may proceed. Thank you, Your Honor. Mr. Anthony, do you know a woman by the name of Crystal Holloway? I know her by that name and also another name. What other name do you know her by? River Cruise. And how do you know her? She came to our command center up on Goldenrod and where the skating rink is at in October of 2008. Did you have a romantic relationship with her? No, sir. No. To me, that's very funny. Very funny. Yes, sir. And were you ever intimate with her? No, sir. It was also very funny. Did you ever go to her house? On two, possibly three occasions, and I can explain that. You know that you have to pass a guard gate to get to her home, do you? Questions of other witnesses' testimony. My guess.
I didn't ask him any questions of any other witnesses. Yes, sir, I can explain that. It's going to take a few moments to explain that to you and to everyone else that's here. I'm going to give you your opportunity, sir. Yes, sir, I'll clarify everything. Now, you may be wondering, what does it matter? He's having affairs. He's a bad guy. What's up with that? I think that the defense is just trying to show you that he's not a good dude and that he's a liar. And what I thought was so interesting about it. was that if he isn't lying and he didn't have an affair with her and he's got nothing to hide, how come... You may proceed. Thank you, Your Honor. Mr. Anthony, do you know a woman by the name of Crystal Holloway? I know her by that name and also another name. Did he say, I know her by that name and another name, River Cruz? Because, you see, if I didn't do anything wrong, okay?
and I know somebody that's got two names, and one of them is this classy name, like... What other name do you know her by? River Cruise. River Cruise. If I have nothing to hide, and somebody says to me, do you know Crystal Holloway? The answer to the question is, yes. Now, if I messed around with Crystal Holloway, who's also known as River Cruise, which I, who knows why, She's also known as River Cruise. But if I did mess around with somebody named Crystal Holloway, also known as River Cruise, I'm probably going to process the question. Do you know Crystal Holloway? Oh, crap. Yeah, I had sex with her. That's what I'm thinking in my head. Yeah, I had sex with her. And she's not my wife. And I had sex with her. Now, what does the brain instantly do? Oh, that piece of garbage, huh?
Oh, yeah, I know her. I know her and I know her as two names. The other name I know her as. Or he could just be trying to show that, you know, as he got to know her, he's like, yeah, and this girl has got two different names. Maybe you say that later. Well, no. All I asked you, bro, is do you know her? So you're up on, you're sitting there, you're being questioned. Yes. And all of a sudden they throw this out and you're like, okay, here it comes. And he knew that was coming. The question was. Let's say L.O.B. Lauren O'Brien. Let's say Lauren O'Brien used to be a dancer and her stage name was Portia. True statement. Strictly hypothetical. Strictly hypothetical. Strictly. Strictly. Strictly. Let's say that her stage name used to be Portia. I'm on the stand.
And I'm under fire. I know I'm under fire. I know people are coming to get me. But I also know that I've never done anything with, I know Lauren O'Brien. I know Lauren O'Brien used to be known as Portia. I know she used to be a stripper. I know she used to be this. I know she used to be that. I know blah, blah, blah. But I got nothing. I didn't do anything with her except look for my granddaughter. Okay. And you say to me, do you know Lauren O'Brien? Yes. Yeah. In fact, I'm daring you. Yeah. But don't you think that you know what they're bringing? They're bringing this to, they're trying to tear you down. And you know what my thinking will be? Bring it. If you didn't do anything. If I didn't do anything. And that's what he's saying. Maybe that's what he's saying. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on. I see your point. Follow me here. Track with me here. I go, I haven't slept with her. So you go, do you know Lauren O'Brien? I'm defiant. Maybe that's what he's doing. That's what I'm saying. Oh, if you haven't slept with her, you go, Yep. What's the next question? I think I would go, yeah, I know her. I know her by two names. And I know that she's not a good person. And I'll explain it to you if you want to know. Why are you so defensive? Because I am sitting in a chair and you're asking me questions. Why are you bringing her up is what I want to know. Okay. Why? Don't worry. Okay. Mr. Isbell, let me ask you this. Okay. Do you know Rich Stevens? Yeah, I do.
Well done, De Niro. Yeah, I know Rich Stevens. And I also know he's a burglar. He's a burglar. But Mike, you've got to put yourself in this guy's shoes. He's been accused of all these things which he's allegedly saying he didn't do. And he's tired of having his name dragged on. All I know is if I didn't do anything, ask. Maybe he was doing the preemptive bit. Because he knew it was coming. And he's like, yeah, I know her. And I know her as another name. River Cruz. Fire away. He could still be that defiant guy with those answers. I believe my dad would actually answer the same way. Because my dad's a natural born salesman. And he's an over talker. He's exasperated. And he's like, would over explain as the way George Anthony did on trial. All I know is, to me, George Anthony. Sounded nervous, defensive, and... Overcompensating. Question. Mr. Anthony, you do know that to get to her house, which, by the way, she's a volunteer looking for Kaylee. It's weird. And you were at her house at possibly two or three occasions. Okay. Maybe you had to go there and look at maps. Maybe she had... Maybe...
Maybe River Cruise had some special thing you needed to talk to her about at her house two or three times. She's got a color printer there. Color printer, okay? And you had to go there two or three times. You know, you had to have a code to get into her place. Ouch. But he already admitted that he'd been there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you've been there. Why ask the question? Yeah, I've been to her place two or three times. I can explain that. But you know you have to go by a guard shack to get there. Clearly, because I've said I've been there. Two or three times. It's a good point. Give me a break. It's a good point. It's a good strategy, I think, because at the end of the day, it shows that, hey, your granddaughter's missing, and you're trying to slay some stripper named River Cruz? Or maybe he's not. Well, do you have audio of later in his... No. Basically, she said she had a brain tumor, and he said he was going there to, like... Console. Florence Nightingale. How nice of you. Sweet guy. Got spicier, man. Yesterday was a spicy meatball. Love it. I'm not saying he's not a dirtbag, but I don't think by the answers that he's given so far, I can't say. Cindy Anthony, that's Casey's mom, who I have said appears to be nutty to me. And by nutty, I mean over-controlling mom, extraordinarily savvy in the way that she talks. Sound familiar? Sound like her daughter? Yep.
There's a couple of people that she got asked about yesterday. Two private investigators. She got asked about two private investigators. Prior to September 2008, did you tell your son, Lee Anthony, that you had sent Dominic Casey and or Jim Hoover? Dominic Casey and Jim Hoover are private investigators that she hired. To Suburban Drive. to look for Kaylee with a video camera? I had never told anybody that I sent those guys there because I never sent those guys there. What about after... I know you just answered, but I want to make sure about the time period. What about after or around the time of November 2008 did you tell Lee or have an argument with Lee about sending Dominic to go? and search in that area? I had no knowledge of that search in that area, so I would not have had an argument regarding that. So it's very clear. I didn't send him. I didn't have an argument with my son about it. I didn't do anything to have to do with any of that. Here's her son, who they called two seconds later. Mr. Anthony, did you ever have an argument or discussion with your mother about sending Dominic Casey?
to look for Kaylee off Suburban Drive with a video camera? Yes, sir, I did. Did you go to your parents' home? Yes, sir, I did. And when you got there, did your mother tell you anything about sending Dominic with a video camera to Suburban Drive? Yes, sir, that did happen. What did she tell you? That she sent Dominic into the woods off of Suburban because she got a... psychic tip that she wanted to follow up on. And when did this conversation take place approximately? Time or date or? The month of 2008. It was later in the year. I don't recall exactly. I'm sorry. And did it create an argument between you two? Might have been one-sided on my part. Absolutely. I was quite angry. Why were you angry? It was the first time I'd ever heard anyone in my family
offer it up that they were willing to look for a deceased Kaylee. Prior to that, not even within the realm of anybody's mindset. So I was quite angry. Somebody's lying. Somebody's lying. Who do you think is lying after listening to that? Mama. Mama. Mama, L-O-B? Yeah. Sounds like Mama's lying. I can't understand the motivation behind it. What if the brother's lying, though, because he feels like he's been cut out and he's like, oh, I'm going to kind of mix this up. Could be. I don't think so. What a train wreck of a trial. Oh, dude. Family. Family. Yes. They had two family spokespeople that quit on them. One of them said they quit because the family was too, what, LLB? They had very erratic behavior. It's the craziest thing.
And the biggest thing going on. Are you getting more reasonable doubt in your mind? Watching this stuff, watching this family, their inner workings, the dynamics of this family. Is doubt creeping into your brain about the fact that somebody with the last name Anthony that's not Casey killed that little girl? Yeah. Me too. I think she might walk. But I know she did it. You do? Yeah. But there's a little doubt. And take the legalese out of it. Take the legal out of it. Is there doubt? Just doubt. You're not on the jury. Do you think that there's a chance it wasn't her? Yeah, but I know she did it. But yeah, so you don't know. You don't think there's going to be one clown on that freaking... There's not going to be one Isabel on that jury. There's going to be one Isabel that goes, I don't know, man. I think she's hot and innocent. So. So. What do y'all think? Dudes that pop Bin Laden in the head may have used something that Woods referred to as quite possibly the coolest thing he's ever heard of in his life. And I agree. And we'll tell you what it is next. It's the Mikey Show on FM 94.9.

Because he's doing his chicken Mick Jagger. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Well, reports are out right now that News Corp is looking to sell MySpace. We were just talking about MySpace and Facebook. And it looks like they're trying to sell MySpace this week after three years of big losses, obviously. News Corp actually bought the company in 2005 for $580 million. They tried to revamp it back in October. Didn't matter. Losses just continued to decline.
So good luck with my face. Oh, wow. Also, Toyota is going to be recalling over 82,000 vehicles in the U.S. It is the Highlander and the Lexus in the hybrid version for the 2006-2007 models due to faulty wiring. Oh, good. Awesome. Woods, what's going on in sports? Sports is brought to us today by our friends at Frank's Red Hot. Frank's Red Hot. Good job. Yes, sir. Well, the NFL and the NFL Players Association have agreed to meet for four straight days. before the July 4th holiday. So that's a good sign. But then, as I read further, I realized that it's just going to be Roger Goodell and the players' executive, Demora Smith, with their staffs. No owners, no players in this meeting. So still trying to get an agreement hammered out before the season starts. And hopefully we do have some football training camps scheduled to start in about a month. But we've got to get the deal done. And the big story in sports yesterday was Tiger Woods' beard. That's what everybody was talking about. He grew a beard. It's very slow sports. So breaking news, Tiger Woods has beard, has a beard. Okay. He's also said, hey, I'm not. He's heard his beard. Does his beard have a Twitter yet? His beard does not have a Twitter, much like Brian Wilson's from the Giants. But if you didn't hear Tiger Woods.
Has a beard. And that's not a lady that he's dating. Right. A cover-up that he's getting. Correct. An actual beard. Which is called a beard. A hair beard. On his face. Also, he has said that he is not going to push getting back in time for the British Open next month. He did not play in the U.S. Open. He's got Achilles tendon injury. So he says he's going to be, quote, smarter this time. So the team that went in to kill bin Laden. What were they using, Sienna? Now, this isn't for sure. This is, you know, rumors that have spread. But on military.com, they think they used night vision contact lenses. Oh, yeah. How rad is that? Oh, yeah. How rad is that? People have been speculating that these exist for almost a decade. And obviously, if anyone's going to have access to them, it's going to be the smells from Team 6. Yeah. That is. one of the coolest things I've ever heard. Can you imagine being able to put on contact lenses and go out in the forest on a rainy night and see where you're going? The ocean. Yeah. Surf. So... What if somebody flips on the light? I mean, normally you could pull the night vision out. Now you're like, hold on, hold on. Something tells me they thought of that. There's a switch. Yeah. Something tells me they thought of that. That is badass. Yeah, it is.
They think that the material is like a sci-fi material lens. Yeah. It's crazy. Because, yeah, the real night vision goggles stick out about four feet in diameter. You can blow your cover. Right. So, listen to this. Woodsy wrote in his recap about his friend Bark Malman. He had a hot date Sunday night. Weird. She's making me want it. And he met a new girl. And they... She went to his place for dinner. No, he went to her place. He went to her place for dinner. And very good looking girl. Nice place. Good job. She made stir fry. And when he asked for some soy sauce, she pulled out little white and red packets of Kiko mint. That she had obviously kept from a Chinese takeout place. Smart.
Now, Bark Malman was very turned off by this move. Very. His quote was, hey, listen. Maybe somebody spends a couple of bucks and they spring for a whole bottle, okay? I almost fell out of my chair when I was talking to him. Hey, listen, dude. Maybe somebody spends a couple of bucks, all right? They get the whole bottle of Kikamans. She's being responsible. Being a redneck. No, she's being responsible. Being white trash, bro. She is doing the right thing by not throwing those away. She's not being classy. Oh, really? Yeah. He's so classy. What, is this a trailer? Is this a trailer park? Yeah. He's hopping from one girl to the next. Classy. Hey, I might be hopping from one girl to the next, but when I hop, I'm not hopping on packets of Kikamans, all right? I would spring, I would spend the 325 if I'm making stir fry. I would spend the 325 to impress a girl. Yes. So that I don't pull out packets. Hey, I made, I decided that I was going to grill out for us tonight. Would you like a packet of mustard?
That says wiener schnetzel on it. Seems so much worse. Yes, I do have barbecue sauce for your chicken. I didn't use it with my McNuggets, so you can. Can you imagine? You pull out a barbecue sauce from Mickey D's. It's different. God forbid she forgot to pick it up, and then now she's like, oh, but I have this. Sienna? Yeah. You've seen worse? No. Oh, I thought you said I've seen worse. No. That is... There's no excuse. Well, the funny thing is, I was like, well, okay, that aside, how did the date go? He's like, I couldn't stop thinking about it the whole night. Oh, wow. Hang on. Now, Jay, I don't think there's, hang on. I don't think that there's anything wrong with bringing those packets home and having a drawer full of them. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. But if you have guests over, maybe you break out the, you know, the dishes that you washed. Maybe she forgot. Maybe she just forgot to pick it up. Maybe she doesn't like it. And so what she thought was, oh.
Oh, he wants it. Here's some packets. Thank God I was prepared. You're making stir fry. Yeah. And you don't have soy sauce. You never forget anything. You're making hot dogs. You don't have mustard. You don't have buns. I don't like bread. Yeah. So I made you hot dogs. Honestly, it just didn't cross my mind you might like buns. Just eat the wieners. Because I like to just grill the wieners and just eat the wieners. Isolate. Oh, great. Great. Great. Great. Isolate. What? Isolate. 570. That's going to get you. 570-1949. Is it white trash on a first date for a girl to pull out Kikoman packets? Lauren O'Brien. Yes. What says you?
I personally don't really like soy sauce. So that would be an example of something I'd only keep in packets and have it around. I'm not going to go buy a bottle because I don't like it. Voila. Then everybody's like you. What? Everybody doesn't like soy sauce. A lot of people don't like soy sauce. So you would assume he didn't because you don't. I wouldn't have thought if I'm going to make stir fry, I wouldn't have thought, okay, hand in hand goes soy sauce. Sushi. Now, if I was going to make sushi, I'd get some wasabi and soy sauce. Really? That statement shocked me. Plus, it's kind of white trash that he didn't take her out to dinner. Stir fry, no soy sauce. She asked him over for dinner. Sushi, soy sauce. Yeah. I say I disagree. Stir fry, no. I would use sesame oil and maybe teriyaki sauce. So you make sure that you've got a little dipping tray with sesame oil. No, I would cook with it. But not soy sauce. I would season it well enough that it wouldn't need an extra condiment. If you don't like soy sauce, why do you have soy sauce packets? In case I have some King Clown over that needs soy sauce on my perfectly well-cooked meal. Well, then here's my message to all the ladies that have packets of soy sauce in case King Clown comes over. Buy a bottle, will you? It's a dollar, I think. It gets all crusty in your cabinet. Brown and gooey. If I'm going to try to go and...
Have relations with a young lady. That's one thing that's going to deter me. Oh my gosh, she does have soy sauce. What am I going to do? Soy sauce. I don't know, dude. Maybe spring for a nice fresh bottle. Yeah, she was being all fancy. And dude, believe me, he would have taken her out to dinner in a second. Because then he could get what he wanted. She was like, why don't you come to my place? Because if a girl invites you to your place, half the battle's done. I think it's more of a female thing anyway. There was a movie called Big Fan with Patton Oswalt and his mom. He's like, why do you have 8,000 packets of duck sauce that you're never going to use? It's a true story. We save those things. Why don't you come over tonight? I'll make you a little dinner. This is really nice. Hey, Stacy, this is really nice. Looks like you got the candlelight out and everything, huh? Hey, what's for dinner? I made stir fry. Sounds delicious. I used to date a Filipino girl, so I'm very familiar with soy sauce. Don't tell me about the girls you've dated. Shame on me. Hey, have you got any soy sauce? I sure do, handsome. Hang on. What the hell is that? Dripping down your fingers. What do you mean, what is that? I mean, what is that thing that says Panda King on it in front of me? The little white packets that say Panda King. What is that?
That's soy sauce. From a freaking Panda King? What do I look like? I'm dressed as a Velvet Elvis? It's not very classy, Lauren. Yeah, but they give you like 18,000 packets of that stuff. Yeah, great. Use it for yourself. You make yourself... No, no. Happy birthday. I don't like soy sauce. You know, she could have just opened it and put it in a little soy sauce bowl. Yes, she could have. She should have. She didn't. She didn't. She thought maybe he was more of an adult than he is, apparently. Hey, listen, maybe we're wrong. 5701949. Maybe you have one better. Hey, Mikey, my boyfriend or my girlfriend threw this out on our date. And it was freaking hideous. My grandmother never bought sugar. It was always packets from the store. Yeah, well, that's not a date. That's your grandma.
It's just little peccadillos, whatever the word is. If you got somebody coming over, maybe put a toilet paper roll on. Right. Not a box of Kleenex. Yes. On the back of the toilet. And maybe you have a box of Kleenex on the back of the toilet. Because you like it, safety. Because you like it. Well, JIC, meaning that I might run out of toilet paper. I might not have a roll in here. I have some Kleenex in here, JIC. Yeah, just in case. Be overly prepared. Be prepared. Trying to make an impression. Yeah, throw a toilet paper roll on. Get a bottle of soy sauce. You can probably get one for a dollar. Yes. We don't have to impress you, we're women. Yes, you do. Yeah, you do. This case in point, I don't know, maybe you spring, spend a couple of bucks, spring for the whole bottle. If he's that picky, she's better off without him. No, she's not. She could do a lot worse than my friend Bark Malman, I'll tell you that. They're not compatible. No, she is compatible. He's classy, she isn't. Oh, my gosh. Wow. He's a snob. Snob. No. 570-1949. M1, Adam is on the line. Adam, are you there? Yeah. Go ahead. Oh, well, wait. Wasn't I just talking to someone? Yes, you were talking to Jay, but you can go ahead. You're on the air now. Okay. Well, yeah, I used to live with my girlfriend who loved to get sushi.
And all the time, you know, we started collecting all these packets and eventually just started putting them into the bottle. So you would open the packets up and pour them individually into a bottle of Kikoman's. Right. Oh, wow. That's not messy. Why wouldn't you just buy a bottle of Kikoman's? Oh, well, we did. We had the bottle. And when you ran out, you started pouring the packets in. Yeah, well, what do you do with all of them? Buy another bottle. Throw the packets away. Throw the packets away. I like that. I gotta go, though. Thank you. It's like buying a bottle of ketchup. You run out, and so you go to your ketchup packets and go... Filthy. Filthy. I hate that noise. Everybody needs seven friends like this. You have to. Well, you don't have to, but it's really good if you do. Everybody needs a friend with a pickup. Why? Why does everybody need a friend with a pickup? Because you're probably going to need them to come pick something up at your house. Yes. Helping move. Do you have one? Yes, my dad. I do too. You have to have a friend that knows about computers. He's sitting right in front of me. He's a real sweet little guy. His name is Mike Esparza. I appreciate that. I didn't consider myself amongst that group. You are in that list. You are my friend that knows about computers. Really? Yeah.
See, I don't feel I do. I feel I need a friend that knows about computers, how to fix stuff, how to do stuff. In fact, L.O.B. is kind of my friend that I would go to and go, L.O.B., I want to get on YouTube. I don't know what to do. Yeah, she's also that, too. Yes. That's one of Matt's biggest turn-ons about me. I'm really scoring big. You should have a friend who can watch your kids or your pets. Got it. Check, Sienna, or no? Oh, yeah. How about you, LLB? I don't have any pets. Or kids. Or kids. Or husband. Or house. I am financing my car. Do we want to go through any hail? I don't have big boobs. Okay. Yeah, I know. I'm not under 30 anymore. I know. I think we get where you're going with that. I don't have much of a 401k thing. I don't have any stocks. I know.
Everybody needs the friend that is, quote unquote, in the industry. One thousand percent. No. Oh, yeah. If you want tickets to something. Buy them yourself. Get. Get. You guys are moochies. You guys are moochies. Both of you. Maybe you just buy the tickets. You're either a mooch or you're not. Hold on. Go ahead, Woods. Hold on. Go ahead. Hold on. How uncomfortable is that phone call? Hey, dude. Did you? Or did you not get free fare tickets? I'm in the industry. I know. There you go. We are that friend. It's good to have somebody that can get up. Yeah, but if I wasn't in the industry, I wouldn't be calling people like, can I get some culture tickets? Like, I feel bad even asking for fare tickets here. And the only reason I ask is because we all went as a show. And they were offered. Yeah. And by the way, I will say this. If I were not in this industry, I would not be seeking that. particular friend but only only because well me there i don't leave my house right well when i was in texas my friend bark melman was my guy in the industry and i would say hey man king's coming hook me up yeah but you have a lot of other people that are like hey get asking for those same things so it's annoying for that person what has a friend in every industry that's a true statement i love that is a true statement why would everybody need a pushy friend
Well, you need a pushy friend if you don't have the nards to do it yourself. You have your pushy friend do it. Got one of those. And if you get into a situation that you are uncomfortable, you will ask your pushy friend Jay to call them and be like, hey, I need you to do me a favor here. And if you don't do it, I'm going to come over and break your leg. I'll kill you. I'll do it. Everybody needs a friend that can find deals. J-L-O-B. L-O-B. She's the best. She's the magnum PI of deal finance. I have a book on it. Everybody needs the friend with job benefits. What? Or is it just the friend with benefits? It's job benefits. Job benefits. Yeah. I don't get it. I think it's kind of similar to the industry guy. My company has a box at Staples. Gosh, that's good, L-O-B. Oh. Staples Center, I mean. It's Staples, the store. I think everybody needs a friend that's like the go-to party person that you always want to go out with. They're fun. I used to be that guy. I used to, too. That's very true. They used to call me for what was going down that weekend. Me, too. Damn it. Now I'm not even called. Guess what we have on the way. Well, first of all, we're going to do the old man that does acting.
Better be a large font, Woods. It is. I made you an 18 today, my friend. Yeah. Jay has no idea what he is going to be acting out. We give it to him and he has to read it on the fly. Now, he says, I'm an actor. He says, I'm on IMDb. I've been in stuff. I can act. And we said, okay, let's test that out. Now, occasionally he'll have problems, you know. When he's reading, just fresh reading. Whatever you think you know about this man is a reveler. And that was, to his defense. Cold read. Cold read. Just, you know, he'd never seen it. Whatever you think you know about this man is a reveler. Standard font size, I believe, too. Yes, it was. And that's another thing to his defense. It delivered with confidence, too. He didn't let that trip him up. Yes. So, when we come back, he will learn what it is. He's going to be acting out. Yeah. It's been too long, Mikey. It's been too long. It's coming up. Oh, my God. It's better than I thought. Let your voice be heard on The Mikey Show now. Call 570-1949 or shoot him a text. 949mikey at gmail.com. More of The Mikey Show coming up in minutes on FM 94.9. This is being brought to you, of course, by Frost Brew Coors Light. This is how San Diego breaks. Coors Brewing Company, Golden, Colorado. Surf-wise today, again, the continued decrease in southwest release swells.
Means smaller surf across the board, a little bit of west-northwest are still lurking out there as well. You can expect to find need-to-waste highways on average now at most spots of San Diego proper. Maybe some chest-to-shoulder highways at the areas further up north that can still pick up that residual southwest swell that is definitely on the taper. Overcast skies right now, pretty light though. Looks like we could have some sunnier burn-through earlier today, which would be nice. Goes along with that warmer water temp. Water temp now in the 64 to 67 degree range, which is good as well. Beach breaks are the most likely place to surf again, broken up little conditions out there, causing them to have a few corners, especially the structured areas. Reef breaks just looking pretty weak, and the occasional peak, again, unless you want to go up further north where that south swell is standing it up a little bit better. M1 Yeti texted in to say, Jay friended me on Facebook yesterday and now my life is complete. M1 Eric texted in and said, Mikey, please understand Jay is a professional creeper. George Carlin once told Jay, quote, you're a little blue. It's true. Always doing good. Ladies and gentlemen, the entire month of July is live in July. M1s will be in the studio with us every day that we broadcast, starting at 9 a.m., live in July. Apparently, we'll have a diving board set up in here. For your pleasure. For your pleasure. And ours. Oh, really? What if we do this? The old man who does acting. Yes! He's the old man with the poetry. Oh, yeah. He's so good, he's on the money. Yes.
An actor with ability. He blinded me with acting. But he failed to pronounce clearly. The old man that does acting has become a staple of the Mikey show. And the idea is that, you know, Jay considers himself Jack of all trades. Jay of all trades. And that he is capable of just about everything, including acting. And so what we do is... We do an audition. We hand him a script he's never seen before. And he has to act that scene out. Now, this scene comes from the movie Rocky 3. It's a very famous scene. It's the scene where Rocky and Adrian are on the beach. Rocky is down on his luck, man. He's got a big fight. Oh, shirt shimmy, shirt shimmy. Rocky has a big fight coming up.
And he's starting to question his own gut. Nicky just died. Nicky died. Oh, no. It's crushing. Who knows what it's going to be like now? Now that he's got to do it all on his own. He's questioning his own fire. Does he even have what it takes? Was he ever a real champion? That's right. Or did Mick just string him along? That's right. Give him easy fights. And so I now present to you Jay playing Rocky. The role of Adrian will be played by our very own Lauren O'Brien. Yo, Woods, thanks for the script. Are you going to maintain that voice? Yeah, I think I will. Can I talk to you? That's my line. Okay, maybe you do that line then. Sorry. Oh, you want me to do the ones in yellow? Yeah, do the ones that I highlighted for you. I'm not a smart man. Alright, are we ready? Yeah, let's do this. Can I talk to you? I want to ask you something important and I want you to tell me the truth.
What? Oh my gosh. Oh no. Why'd you come here? I just don't want to do it no more. If it's over because you want it to be, I'm glad. I do. It's just, you've never quit anything since I've known you. I don't know what you want me to say. I mean, what happened? How did everything go so good and so go bad? Everything that was so good gets so bad. There we go. What's so bad? Tell me, what? I wrecked everything, but I'm thinking for myself. I couldn't make you tell me where you really was at. You didn't have to carry me alive. Maybe the bad was. What? You know what I mean? I don't know. You need to enunciate a little bit. Yes. And no more Austrian. I wrecked everything, but I'm thinking for myself.
Why couldn't Mickey tell me what he really is at the start? He didn't have to carry me a lie. It made me think I was better than I was. He never lied. I gotta turn the page. Those fights weren't right. I never fought anybody in their prime. There's always some angle to keep the title going longer than I should have had it. Do you understand? You've got to understand, he loved you. That was his job, protecting you. Protecting don't help nothing. It makes things worse. You've got to wake up one day thinking you're a winner, but you're not. You're a loser. So we wouldn't have to have the title so long. So what? At least it's been real. It was real. Nothing's real. You don't believe who you are? Oh, my gosh. I don't believe him. I don't believe him. I don't believe him. That's it. That's not it. Why don't you tell me the truth? What did you put me through? You don't want to know the truth. I don't want to. I don't care about that. Now it's you. You got kids. I don't lose what I got. This has been everywhere. My God. Yes.
He's the old man who does acting. Oh, my God. He's the old man with the poetry. It's the greatest thing I've ever done. He's so good he's on the money. He's really stepped it up. An actor with ability. Oh, my God. He blinded me with acting. Yeah, he did. He actually did. I'm not blind. You're blind. Wow. Oh, fantastic. I'm starting to believe everything everyone says. I know, me too. Wow. Jay, I'm going to go home. And I'm going to listen to the podcast no less than 12 times. A dozen. The running of the words together was my favorite. I couldn't understand anything. Mush mouth. And bravo to L.O.B. for knowing when to come in. Yes. Being able to follow along. Being able to follow along because she had to know when he was done. L.O.B.'s performance was...
It was top notch. Yes. It was great. When you work with somebody good, you tend to rise to the occasion. I mean, in your case with Viagra, but... Gross. I'll show it. I know you will. Stop, Jay. I know you will. Oh, boy. Wow. I know you will. Don't want to see it. Everyone, this is James Lipton. Inside the active studio. Will you welcome... And join me in welcoming one of the greatest gifted actors of our age, Jason Isbell. Yes, yes. Thank you. It's good to be here. May I call you Jay? Absolutely. Jay, what is your favorite word? Irreverent. Jay, where do you get your inspiration?
You know, I look inside myself. What do you see? Just a man trying to do the right thing. Oh, my goodness. Jay, how are you so perfect? Just surround myself with good people. May I touch you? Not again. Oh, so great, Jay. So great, dude. I'm so impressed by you right now. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Look at Fiona. Everyone was right. He is amazing. He is what you say. Finally. Sorry, I choked up. He's emotional. We have sort of touched on this before, but I never tire of this. 5701949. L.O.B. wrote in her recap that she was that girl in the locker room.
Yesterday. She went to the gym? Yoga. There's actually a locker room in there. She went to yoga and she said, you know, are you born with it or do you just stop caring one day? What she's talking about is she still does the quick slip in and slip out with the towel around her as she's changing. You know, if she goes surfing and she's changing on the side of the road, she'll do the quick towel deal. And when she's in a locker room, she'll do the quick towel deal. Now, she doesn't know if it's how her parents raised her or if she's too uptight. But what she does know is she can't be naked locker room girl. Okay. Now, when it comes to guys, what I have observed is that as younger guys, we are inhibited. As we become older and our chest. pubic hair becomes whiter, and our hair becomes more silver and white, and our eyebrows become more silver and white, we lose the inhibition. And we don't mind standing in front of the mirror using the gym blow dryer with a comb in our hand. And that's all. Not one stitch.
Of clothing. Just completely nude. Legs spread apart. Standing. Blow drying your hair. Just as God made you. Just as God made you. In your birthday suit. Just combing that hair. That silver fox hair back. Now I've always wondered. What is it? Naked gym person. How do you get so comfortable? And I mean it genuinely. It's not a rhetorical question. It's a real question. How do you become so comfortable? 570-1949. Now, maybe the answer is, I'm well-endowed. Woods says that's not the answer because Woods is well-endowed. And he doesn't do it. I've seen some guys in there that I'm like... They're not well-endowed. Put a freaking towel on. You're embarrassing yourself. It's not like I'm trying to date you. It's like, hey, what are you going to do?
Still. Jay, are you naked gym guy? I just don't care if anybody sees me naked. I don't have no hang-ups when I'm naked. Naked. I would if I were Jay. Stop, Lance. Don't be jealous. You're so mean. I'm not. At all. Oh, my God. Really? Chris has seen yours. He said, wasn't that impressive? Did he? Yeah. Chris right now is like a deer in headlights. Yeah, Chris is like, I didn't see anything. So, everything. Yeah, he did see everything. Jay. I hear a lot of talk about it, Woods. Did you, Chris? You saw him? Was it super impressive? Be honest. Don't look at him. Don't look at him, Woods. Remember where we're at. Mike. Was it impressive? He's looking at Woods. Don't look, Woods. He nodded. He did a so-so. Oh, what is he going to say?
I'll show it to you. You want to see it? In the bathroom next break, I'll show you. You'll be impressed. Woods has always maintained. I'm saying you've maintained. Chris is like on the stand. Come in here, Chris. Oh boy, really? We're going to do this like court. We have to explain why Chris saw it. Yes, we do. Look at poor Chris. What? Wow. I'm on the stage. State your name for the court. Christopher Aukerman. If it pleases the court and the prosecution and the defense, may I ask questions? Yes. Defense? Yes. Mr. Aukerman? Yes. Where were you yesterday morning at approximately 9, 10 a.m.?
I was getting a coffee out of the microwave. Poor guy. For whom? Hey, excuse me. Get out of here. Objection. This is a defendant. So please the court, may I continue? Yes. Mr. Aukerman, who was the coffee for? Actually, yeah, the coffee was for you. And when you say you, can you, for the court reporter, let Mike Esparza. Got it. And at that time, Was Mr. Jay Isbell in the room with you? No, he was not. He was not. Where was Mr. Isbell? He was in the second half of the studio, the main studio. Main studio. Got it. What about Mr. Woods? Mr. Woods was in the actual doorway of the two studios. Okay. And can you tell me what happened next? What happened next is Jay Isbell. That man over there.
Can you point to him, please? Yes. Jake Ducks. Just pointed to the defendant and he ran. Pants, sir. Oh, excuse me. Yes. I'm out. Okay. For those of us, I'm not familiar with these young people terms. Okay. Objection. It's not just young people. Mr. Isbell, in fairness to the court, is 97 years old. Sustained. Sustained. I'll rephrase. Thank you. For those that don't know what pantsing means, can you tell us what that term means, pantsing, what you understand it to mean? Removed the pants of Mr. Woods. Was Mr. Woods... To his knees. Revealing something... Excuse me. Amazing. Yes.
Now, are you telling the court that he was in fact wearing pants as in jeans? He was wearing workout pants. Workout pants. Yes. Elastic waist. Elastic waisted. Elastic waisted. Almost practically new. Well, he's had them for two years. And you're telling me Mr. Isbell pulled his pants around to his knees. Yes. Now, where were you standing when this happened? Directly in front of Mr. Woods. Okay. Now, did your eyes happen to make occasion with any private areas of Mr. Woods? I did witness Mr. Woods' private areas. Would you describe these areas as below average, average, or above average? Objection. What is average? Point of reference, please, counsel. Yes, we have an expert witness that will now testify as to what average is. Your qualifications. First, sir, state your name. Ron Jeremy. Mr. Jeremy, your profession, please. Professional film, adult film actor. Mr. Jeremy, what is your testimony in terms of average?
I would say average is approximately six. And we don't need to go any further, Mr. Jeremy. I think we know what six means. Even though I disagree with that being an average. Small. It is small. Is the average guy. Anyway, so, okay, back to you, Mr. Ackerman. Yes. Would you describe the witness in question as below average, average, or above average? Remember the state. Shut your mouth. You must remember the state it was in. Taking into account the state in which it was in. Rigor mortis. Sentrification. Surprised. It appeared to be above average. Thank you very much. Why is that right? The prosecution rests. They're high-fiving. They're high-fiving. What's up, dude? Good job, Chris. And now call to the witness stand, Mr. Woods. Hello. Thanks for having me. State your name for the court. My name is Stephen Woods. You silly sausage. Your wife, I hope she's not listening right now. My wife's mortified. Mr. Woods. Yes, sir. Mr. Woods. Are you telling the court that the testimony that you just heard is true? Yes.
Can we see exhibit A? Of course. I'll show you. Can we not? I don't want to go to jail for exposing myself, but I'll show you in the bathroom if you want to see it. I will show you. Sign me up for that. Isn't that weird? He wants to see it. He's the weirdo. No, I think you're full of monarchy. Are you, I have my next question. Are you part Serbian? Today, yes, I am. Are you an Eastern European? Today, it would appear. If disrobed, I would appear as a 40-year-old Serbian man. As if a 40-year-old Serbian man was nude on the beach. I thought Mikey got you a groomer. He did. I've been in a state of depression since I broke my ankle, and I can't really do much, and I miss playing baseball. I have let myself go a tad. Just a tad.
I've got about a week left. I've let myself out. I've let myself go a tad. I'm going to clean house next week. Mr. Woods. Yes. I would like to issue you a formal apology. Thank you very much. And I would also like to congratulate you on your genetic makeup. Thank you. I think one would have to be envious of such a situation. You know. Don't be careful what you wish for. It's a bit of a curse. Oh, my. Shut up. Objection. You're my defense attorney. Easy, Jason Priestley. Easy. Easy, Jason Priestley. Oh, my gosh. Objection thrusting. You're my defense. Ridiculous. Hey, I don't know if you heard about this dude that was attacked by his friends, Pitbull, here in San Diego. I got that for you. Don't go away. Oh.

Well, the San Diego school board has done some more budget cutting and have just eliminated more than 750 teaching jobs and 600 other positions that go into effect.
on Friday. Such a bummer for those teachers. Also, with the return of the presidential campaign, apparently becomes the return of musicians giving cease and desist. Representative Michelle Bachman was doing her campaign in Iowa and she played American Girl, Tom Petty's song. Well, he is now issued a cease and desist. Does not want her playing his song when she's on stage and doing all that. Even though he didn't care when Hillary Clinton did it. He was a liberal. He was a Democrat. Survivor. Don't cry. Right. Survivor got mad at John McCain when he played the Rocky theme. Eye of the Tiger. Sarah Palin had some problems with Bon Jovi when she played. Who says he can't go home? It happens. Right. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? If you missed it earlier, the San Diego Padres have won three in a row. Oh, Woods. Woodsy, yes. I would be making a gigantic deal about that, and I would be addressing that, but we have kind of breaking Mikey show news right now. May I stop you? And I don't do this very often. Yes. I'm sorry. Guess who's on the phone? Who? M1 John, the guy that called yesterday that said that he went in the hospital and the girl, the nurse, was flirting with him. Yes. And I said,
You have got to go in there and play on your strengths and know your weaknesses. I thought he had a high voice. You made fun of him. You know, I felt bad. I felt bad on the way home because I can see that. And I think I did. And I'm sorry. I'll tell John. John, are you there? John, guys. Hi. I'm sorry. I think that L.O.B.'s right. I made fun of you. You did. I did. And I didn't mean it. I didn't mean it. You know. I the message did not come across. The message was, you know, go in there and know your strengths, know your weaknesses. But it came across as kind of mean. And I'm very sorry. And I hope that you will forgive me. I'm in a good mood today, so I will. You have an update. I do. Yes. What happened? I went in there and she was, you know, she was just. walking around doing her nurse thing, I guess. And I came up to her. I gave her the flowers. And I just said basically exactly what we talked about yesterday, that I had really enjoyed spending time with her and that I was hoping I could take her out to dinner. And, you know, she smiled and she said, sure. Now, yesterday when he called, he said that he'd met this nurse. He felt the nurse was giving him the vibe.
And he wanted to do this. Now, I feel John sounds a little different today. I feel that John sounds very different than when we first talked to him yesterday. When we very first talked to him yesterday, his voice was higher. But I now did you did you heed any advice when you went in there yesterday, John? You know, I just took a deep breath. And I remembered to gather myself and speak clearly and confidently. And everything rolled from there. I feel that he has a very confident sounding voice right now. Yeah. He sounds dynamite. Yeah. Nothing will give you confidence like a hot new lead. So tell us about this lady, John. What caught your eye about her? What does she look like? She's a little taller, which I like. And I'd say she's maybe 5'8", 5'9", because I'm like 5'10". And she's a redhead. I really like her. Why did everyone just say Mikey? Because you like redheads. I like redheads. Oh, yeah. You've said it no less than 7,000 times. And your shirt says, I like redheads. Your tattoo said, I heart redheads. That's what your license plate says, too. Right. I like redheads. I love blondes.
Married a blonde. Married a blonde. Who you want to wear a red wig in the bedroom. And I've also mentioned that on the air. A couple times. Oh, yeah. That's right. Hello, Miss Lady. That's just a side note, John. Great job, John. Thank you. Great job, John. Have you called her yet? You got her number? Yeah, I got her number. We got... something coming up this weekend. At a point! Remember red on the head, crazy in bed. That laugh. Creepy Uncle Jay. It sure is. Just saying. It really is. Sure is. I got one for every color. Should I go through all of these? Ethnicity. Ethnicity. If you're into blonde, she's probably into bondage. Yeah, you know what they say. She's a blonde in the bond. Brunettes is like roulette. Spin that wheel, girl. Yeah. Always bet on black. I like them auburn because they make me bobber. Once you go black, you'll never go back. That's mine. I coined that. It was actually during Prohibition, 1933. Dirty blonde can be like James.
Bond. Shaking her stare. Well, good for you, John. I'm glad you heeded our advice and made it right. Get some. You can't close a deal unless you ask for the order. That's the old adage. Got to get in the game. You're not lying, are you? Of course not. He would have called. Sometimes you go down swinging, but at least you were swinging. That's true. I'm proud of you, man. Maybe she liked the confidence. Dude, that takes a lot of balls walking in that hospital, sashaying in there with some flowers and being like, hey, what's up? I hope he didn't sashay. He better not sashay. Did you saunter? Skip? Strut. Scooch. Flail? I think he walked proudly. And I think that he walked like a man. And I think that if we would have said when he very first called yesterday, I would have said, he sashayed. Right. But now, I say no. He had a whole different, I think you had a whole different thing going on in your step. Jazz hands. Hey, you guys. You do not have petite feet. That was on Mikey's iTunes, just so you know. Yeah. I wish we had videos. Wow, that was really good. That was fantastic, Mike. Thank you. I was, you know, trying to emote, trying to act out the scene there. Well done. You need a nap. You do. I do. That's the most exercise you've had in a while. Let me get him some water.
That's the most exercise you've had in a while. You didn't even get out of your chair. You gotta start small. Most of the guys moved since 1996. In 96, he got up to walk to his gastric bypass. Thank you very much, John. And congratulations to you. Thank you, guys. Take care. Call us back once you get some. Call us back once you get some. He has a one-track mic. He has a bunch of one-liners. He says over and over. Curtains match the drape? Oh, no. Curtains and drape are the same thing. It occurred to me as I said it. Does the carpet match the mat? Does the carpet match the hardwood? Mac. Hey, Mac, why don't you ask if the couch matches the sofa? Hey, Mac, what about the formica and the sink? Does the ceiling match the wall thing that's in the middle of those four walls? Does the comforter match the blanket? TV match the boob tub?
Oh, Jay. Do the carpet match the drapes? Only a creep messes up carpet match the drapes. I know. Only a creep who's used them in all different forms. And so they get confused in his head. Yeah. He's got so many of them wandering around up there. I got one for carpet. I got one for drapes. I got one for curtains. I got them on three by five cards at home. You wouldn't believe this. I got one for Venetian Blonde. And Venetian Blonde. Oh, wow. All right, 570-1949. And we do this segment called Ask the Dudes. Now, this is an opportunity for female listeners only to call in and ask a question of us dudes. Now, I'm talking about me, Woods, and Jay. And it can be a question about anything. It can be a question about relationships, sex, health, whatever.
But the bottom line is that it's a question that you are prepared for a genuine and real answer. And not joking around. It's a serious thing. And that's what makes it kind of interesting and cool is that you're getting a real, honest perspective. A lot of times when you ask maybe your significant other, you would hope that they would tell you. But a lot of times maybe they're trying to spare your feelings. For instance, yesterday. My wife said that it was fine for me to go out on the beach with a tank top. It's because she loves me. She wanted to spare my feelings. It would actually look better for me to just take the thing off. In the water. Oh, in the water. In the water, yeah. Don't wear the shirt in the water. That's what we were asking her. Oh, so wear the shirt on the beach? No. No, but you can. It's better than the guy that gets the shirt in the water. That's like, oh boy. Ditch it all together. Just ditch it, yeah. Got it. Good for you. 570. 194.9 is our number. Females only. You're calling in right now and you're asking a question and you will get three different perspectives. I'm very conservative. Jay is extremely liberal. And Woods is pretty moderate. He's somewhere right in the middle. And so you're going to get three very different perspectives. M1 Tina from Mission Valley. Good morning. I have a very, very, very strong opinion on this.
100% absolutely not. No. Under no circumstances. Red lipstick should not be worn on a woman. And I don't care what the situation. I don't care what the environment is. I don't care if it's a red lipstick party. Don't wear red lipstick. Woods. I agree. Jay. I agree. It is. It's bound. You know who wore red lipstick? Betty Grable. wore red lipstick. Jean Harlow. Yes. Fay Wray wore red lipstick. Marilyn Monroe. It's not 1956. Right. Don't, and I'm just, this is just guys' perspective. Three men have told you, don't wear red lipstick. That's a, that's an honest answer, Tina. Thank you. Uh-huh. M1 Shelly from San Diego. Hi. Camping trip alone, and my husband is being the biggest to me about it. I want him to understand I need some alone time. How do I do this? Are you cheating? So your boyfriend's meeting you at the campsite. Yeah, so your boyfriend and you are going to Reno. I do Renaissance reenactment and it's time for war. Huh? She does Renaissance reenactment and it's time for war. I don't understand. I thought you were camping. I am camping. That's what you do.
You do? You camp out there. Are you doing Renaissance reenacting out there? Are you going to be making love to the guy that's playing Bill Shakespeare? Good question. Are you going to be... I wish I knew one Renaissance person. Oh, gosh. Mike, maybe crack open a book. Maybe get an Encyclopedia Britannica. Are you a wench? Are you a wench? I'm a wench. You are a wench. I'm a noble wench in my group. Are you going to be doing this with other people? Yeah. And your husband doesn't participate in this? Nope. He doesn't even wear the costume. How dare you? Are you going to be sharing a tent with anyone? No, it's online. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. There's no problem at all. The guy's not into what she's into. She's got her deal. Have a ball, hon. And see, I'd be like, you're doing your Renaissance bit this weekend? Have fun.
I'll be here. Yeah. Jay? See, I would... I just don't want to... I wouldn't want to do it without Kim. Oh. No, but is it okay that she goes? Yeah, I think it's strange. I mean, I think time together is so important. It's just hard for me to want to be a... You know, I mean, I definitely have done surf trips and everything without Kim. Yeah, but he's not into renaissance fairs. Yeah, but he could go hang out. Is he not into sitting around a campfire? Are you listening to this clown in there that's your producer? Are you listening to this lying SOB? Did you not catch it when he goes, I just can't see myself doing anything without Kim? I mean, we do things like she'll go on a girls trip and I'll go on like a surf trip or something. But if I have a choice, I would rather be together. Like, I mean, he may be. I mean, I'm sorry. I mean, I feel so sorry for guys like you and just, you know, want alone time. Me personally, if I'm away from Kim, I'm away from the love of my life. Right. It's hard. And constant love making. Constantly love Megan. It's just, she's my everything. I mean, but hey, I understand you fellas that don't feel the same I do. Right. You know, monsters. Actually, I don't understand you. I don't. I say that I do, but I don't. Can't even wrap my head around you. When I was a child, maybe. Yeah, I mean, a child can't understand the love of a woman, but... She's my soulmate. Listen, I don't think there's a problem with it if he doesn't want to participate in what you're doing.
You can have your own hobbies, you know, and you're going to be sleeping in your own tent. Okay. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Have a ball, man. Have a ball. Have two. Thank you. Oh, boy. M1, Joey from San Diego. How are you doing? Good. This is Ask the Dudes. Go ahead. So I'm in a long-distance relationship, and I'm here now because of school, and I have 18 months left to go. So, my question is, is it fair to ask, okay, at the end of this whole thing, is it fair to say, okay, can we get married or should we be done? Like, there has to be an end to it, right? How old are you? 33. How old is he? 34. Have you ever been married? No, I haven't. He has when he was like 21. How long have you been dating? Well, actually, we dated for a couple years in high school. And then we hadn't seen each other in 15 years. And then so through, actually, Facebook, we met each other again. And it's been incredible. And how long have you been dating? Since November. Oh, so a few months. A few months. Yeah, a little bit. So not even a year yet. No, not a year. But I have a commitment to myself to finish school. It's better for, you know, my future than possibly his. Okay, okay, okay. Wait, wait, wait. You live in San Diego, right? Yes.
He lives where? Florida. Florida. How often do you see each other? He flies me out there at least once a month. Okay. And how long ago was he divorced? Gosh, well, he's 21, so like 10 years. Oh, he's been divorced for 10 years. Yeah, it's been, he got married young. Got it. And during the last seven months, have you guys ever discussed, or has it ever come up, the topic of remarriage for him? Has it ever come up? Yes. And what is his, what is his thoughts on that? He's a little bit frightened of it because he, you know, there's no guarantee, you know, but I don't want to do the whole living together thing. I'm, I'm not a shoe. I'm not, I don't want to be test driven. Okay. Now here, here, here's my thoughts on this, Joey. He's already told you his intentions. He's, he's already made it clear to you that he is afraid of marriage.
Yeah. Unfortunately, when we get into relationships, we have selective hearing. We have selective hearing. If we're in love, we choose to not hear certain things or hope that certain things will change with time. OK, and we shouldn't do that. And the reason that we shouldn't do it is because an expectation is a resentment under construction. It's not done yet, but it's being built. Okay. So if you're, if you now, if you're expecting him to change his mind about it and go to something different, you have a resentment that's just being built. It's under construction. It's not done yet. It hasn't come to fruition, but at some point it will be fully constructed in time for people to move in. Okay. Okay. So knowing what you know, my advice would be. To have a very open conversation with him where you tell him, I am aware of the fact that you're afraid of marriage again. However, I'm 33 years of age and I do want to get married. And I need you to know that. And then you'll listen. You'll listen to what he tells you. And I'm going to break a guy rule and I'm going to tell you something. Don't let him BS you. Don't let him be clever with you.
Get an answer from him one way or another. Get an answer from him. Now, that's my thoughts. What's he? Couldn't disagree more if I had to. And the reason is that if you now you have every right to go to him and say, hey, listen, I'm graduating school in a year and a half. I don't want to do anything permanent till then. I want to let you know that. And that's what you did. Correct. Correct. You want to finish school. One thing men don't like. Well, there's a lot of things men don't like. Men don't like an ultimatum. They just don't. And they don't like... See, and that's what I don't... I feel like... If you back him in a corner, he's going to claw his way out. Yeah, I don't want to back him. I don't want to do that. Hey, Joey, I was given an ultimatum. My wife, who I consider a badass, said to me, I ain't waiting around anymore. Right. You were also an alcoholic, too. No, I wasn't. Not anymore. I was out of rehab. Okay. I'd come out of rehab. And while I was in rehab, I had said, you know, I really see a future with us, blah, blah, blah. And I got out of rehab and nothing was going on. And she was like, so, hey, listen, you know, the clock is ticking and I have other things to do. And I was basically using her time. Now, what I knew I could use against her was her fear of the word ultimatum.
I knew I could use that against her and I knew it would be a powerful weapon that I could use to my disposal. For sure. Yeah. If you're interested in hearing more, don't go away. If you're a guy and you're hurt, sad, or fearful that I've let some secrets go, feast. I am my own affliction. I am my own disease. Pop it in. The Mikey Show. Turn it on. We're doing Ask the Dudes, and the question was M1 Joey from San Diego. Are you there, Joey? I'm here. Okay, Joey is 33, right? Mm-hmm. And she is in a long-distance relationship.
with a guy that lives in Florida. Mm-hmm. He's 34. Yes. He was married over a decade ago. Got a divorce. Married too young. And he told you in your, you've only been dating for seven months. You knew him in high school. Mm-hmm. You've been dating for seven months. And at some point during that seven-month period, the topic of him remarrying did come up. Yes. And when it did, He said that it was something that he was a little nervous about. Well, he said that he's considering it. He's working on it. But we have the time for him to... We still have plenty of time. This is not something I want to push. I'm just going to do my thing, go to school. I have a commitment to myself. But at the end of all this, I would like to spend the rest of my life with him. At the end of your schooling? Yes. Okay. Now, would you be willing to move to Florida? Absolutely. Okay. And does he know that? Yes. Okay. Okay. Now, here's the deal. The topic came up about ultimatum. Now, Woods said, guys don't like ultimatums. Right. Now, that is a true fact. In fact, I believe nobody likes ultimatums.
Well, of course not. Not just men. Women don't like ultimatums. No one likes ultimatums because it says you either do this or else. Yeah, I don't want it to seem like that. I know you don't. And he's going to use that very creatively. He's a man. Now, let me explain. Rebecca told me that we were either going to get married or... she was going to move on. And the reason was because she didn't want to waste any more of her time. If it wasn't going to happen, she didn't want to waste any more of her time. And I got mad. Okay. And I said, so you're giving me an ultimatum. And she said, you can call it whatever you want. But what I'm telling you is, is that we've been dating now for about six, seven years. And it's either going to happen or it's going to happen. And I love you. And I want to, like, spend my life with you. You've made it clear at some point or another that that's what you have in mind, too. Yet nothing happens. And I got mad. And I was manipulative. And I said, yeah, guess what? I don't like ultimatums. And so that's my answer. And she said, okay. And we hung up. And she stood.
Her ground. Now, when somebody is presented with an ultimatum, I could be presented with an ultimatum from Lincoln Financial. Lincoln Financial, the company that we work for, could say, Mike, we are willing to re-sign the Mikey show. But the only way that we'll do it is if you re-sign for 10 years. And I could say to them, well, what about eight years? Or what about three years? Or what about, nope. The only thing we will accept is 10 years. Now, if they say that to me, they've given me an ultimatum. I have a choice to make, and I have to measure cost and reward. Now, when I was dating Rebecca, the cost of getting married meant that I couldn't continue to do what I was doing, which was this. Every once in a while, breaking up with her, which I did, and...
Going and playing around, which I did. Every once in a while, if I was presented with something, i.e. a female, and I wanted to fool around, I would come up with a reason that we needed to break up. Or I would get into a creative fight with her. Or something like that. And we would break up. And sometimes she would break up with me too. We did that a lot. If I married her, it meant I would not have the freedom to continue to do that anymore. I couldn't do it. So that was the cost. The reward by getting married was that I would be with Rebecca. But in my mind, I was like, is that enough? Is that enough? So I had to measure the risk. Well, the risk meant that I do not get Rebecca.
And I knew her well enough to know that she was a little badass and that when she put her mind to it, she wasn't going to change it. And so I knew that when I was pressed, she wasn't coming back because she had never done that. And I knew how she was. And I had to ask myself, what would life be like if I don't have her at all? And I went about two weeks later to San Francisco. to a jewelry retailer, wholesale place, and spent the little bit of money I had, and I got a ring and proposed to her in Lake Tahoe about two weeks later. Now, true fact, I didn't appreciate the ultimatum. Another true fact, I could not live without her. I couldn't. Now, if... Lincoln Financial says 10 years or that's it. And I think to myself, I can't live with that. I can't live with that because I might have things to do in two years, four years. I may change my mind about this whole radio business. I have to measure. Well, the reward is I have a job. The risk is I got to stay in it, man. I got to stay in it for 10. Is it worth it? And it's either going to be worth it or it's not going to be worth it.
Now, if I was dating, I'll be honest with you. If I was dating a girl two months and I really didn't know, I would say to her, hey, look, we've only been dating two months. I don't know. Bro, they've only been dating seven months. Understandable. And he's already made one mistake. I got it. I got 100%. And so if he says to her, hey, listen, we've only been dating seven months. I told you before that I was afraid of getting married. And you're hitting me up with it. We're not even living in the same town. Yeah, state. That's a bigger problem. We're living in different states. You can actually take that and you can go, now you got to decide. Now, Rebecca decided. Her decision was S or get off the pot. Yep. My thought is I would get out of the relationship and date. No. Yeah. No, her? Yeah, absolutely. Stop. Wait, wait, wait. She doesn't want to. She likes this guy. But if you really wanted to, you should have stayed together. Because I think being apart, this far apart. No, well, we dated in high school for a couple years. And he, we just, it just, we really didn't actually ever say goodbye. He, we saw each other for a time and then he left Guam to go into the Navy. And then we just hadn't spoken in 15 years. And then I ran into him on Facebook and we were talking ever since.
I would, if it was me, I would say, hey, once we both can live in the same place, fantastic. Let's see how this relationship goes. But in the meantime, I wouldn't wait around because what's going to happen is you're waiting, but I bet money he is not. No. So you're coming to see him once a month. Oh, my God. You're coming to see him once a month, and it's like, boom, shakalaka. But otherwise, he is out there on the street making it. Making it good. Oh, I'm telling you, he is out there making it right. Boom shakalaka. He's looking forward to your visits, I guarantee you. That's a double isolate on that. I tend to lean towards Jay. I realize that men will be men, but I have to have a little bit of faith that he cares for me enough. You're a sweet kid. Yeah, you're a sweet kid. You're a sweet kid. He's spending the money to fly her out there. He doesn't have to do that. He doesn't have to do that. You're a sweet kid. Bet it feels real good. You know, I'm not in any financial needs to help with those plane tickets. And he's been consistently, come out here, come out here. That's good. And I talk to him every day before he goes to bed. Hey, listen, I'll tell you this, Joey. If you had a thought in your head.
that he may be cheating on you while he's out there, then I wouldn't even consider anything beyond this, okay? Exactly. Now, I will tell you that when I was in the same situation, I didn't cheat on Rebecca, but what I did was break up with Rebecca so that I could do what I wanted. Okay. Okay, and now. Watch out for that move. Okay, but that was my morality. Okay, that was my version of morality. In my mind, that was ethical. Yeah. You know, I wasn't a monster because I broke up, you know. Right. And I'm not being completely truthful. I did stuff. Yeah. I did. And I think she did too, but that was a different time in our lives. And, you know, that was me. It doesn't mean every man is like that. But what I will tell you is that there's an inherent danger in a long-distance relationship, I think, with both parties. Oh, absolutely. There's a risk, you know. I want to say something to Joey. Joey sounds really cute. She sounds really down to earth. She sounds like she's got her head on straight. She wants to finish school before she does anything. I think it's cool that you guys have a thing, you know, but you're 2,000 miles away. I say, yeah, 3,000 miles away. You do your thing, you know, do your thing. And if it works out, great, but you can't.
pressure a guy what does that mean do your thing do your thing i mean have your talk to him every night before you go to bed fly out and see him i'm not saying for her to go out and slay other guys and vice versa i'm not saying that i've done that i'm you know right right right and i'm saying have your relationship with him as it's going guy doesn't need any extra pressure he's already three thousand miles away from you you know he doesn't need any oh god the clock's ticking i got a year and a half i gotta marry this girl but the bottom line is is that the clock's ticking on saying a word about it until I'm finished. Oh, so you've never said anything. She's never said anything. That's why she's calling to ask. Yeah, she's asking us this. Yeah, don't. Don't say anything. That's my advice. Don't say anything. Okay, now I'm going to tell you. When the two years is up and I want to make moves, then... That's right. That's the time. Or he may surprise you. He's wasted 18 months. Joey. Yes. You're 33 years old. Yes. When you're done with school, you're going to be 35. unfortunately do you ever do you do you want do you have ambitions to have children uh yes i only want one okay but you do want children yeah but i waited on purpose you know i just wasn't ready that's not what i asked you do you want to have children yes okay you're 33 years old dr mikey what is that she could talk to her doctor about how old she needs to be when she has kids
Well, I wasn't insinuating that she needed to be a certain age to physically have... You're saying she's too old and she has to hurry up and do something. Well, the truth of the matter is, is that as you get older, there are more risks incurred. Oh, absolutely. I totally guess. I'm well aware of that. But I also believe that it's better to have children at 33 than 35. Not now. For her, she's schooled. No, no, no, no, no. I couldn't even want to. I couldn't have a kid if I wanted. It was just too much for school, and it would be next to impossible. I understand. My point is that you will be 35 by the time you're ready to have kids, which is okay. I'm not saying have kids right now. That wasn't my point. Okay. My point is I'm just trying to get you to see what the facts are. The facts are.
That by the time you're ready to have a relationship with him or you would even consider getting married, you're going to be 35. Correct? Mm-hmm. Okay. The other deal is, is that you're going to be 35. I forgot. I forgot. He'll be older. He'll be older than that. You got to take into account, though, Miguel, is that he's already done this once and it hasn't worked out. Okay, so he's already a little trepidatious about the whole marriage thing. So he's got to be ready, too. That's one of those things, man. He doesn't want to make the same mistake he did before. He's got to be ready also. And it sounds like you're the one. The guy's flying you out 3,000 miles every month, spending a pricey plane ticket. Sounds like you're the one. Doesn't need any added pressure. Okay, all right. That's my take. I wouldn't want it, but I'd love to see you once a month if I was him. Whoa.
If I was him, I said. Go with your heart, Joey. Women know. They have women's intuition. He's faithful. You would know if he wasn't. Oh, yeah, I know. Yeah. Sounds like a good situation. You have a feeling. He's a great, he's an awesome, awesome man. I'm sure that's what all the girls say. James. I had the same long-distance relationship with Todd when he was in Florida. And he was married before, too, and never wanted to get married. And I just knew. It didn't matter what people said. I knew he was the one. And it doesn't matter how many times he said he didn't want to get married. To me, he said it to other people. I was just like, no, that guy's going to marry me. And he did. So you know. No one else can tell you what to do. So just go with your heart. Okay. Thank you, guys. Thank you, Joey. I got to get to class. All right. Good luck. Yeah, man. That's a sticky situation. That's a very sticky situation. It's a long way away, pal. Yeah. You know, I mean, you have to ask. I wanted to ask her, what if he came to her in two months and said, you know what, I've been thinking a lot about this. You're the one. Let's get married. You think she's dropping out of school and moving out to Florida? No, I think he knows the deal. You think he knows the deal?
Now, what if he, yeah, what if he calls me and goes, I can't live without you. He did what Todd did. And so I'm packing my car. I'm coming home. We're getting married. Yeah. She's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I want to finish school first. Well, if he came here. She's made that abundantly clear. That she won't go there until she's done. But school is here. So there's no reason she couldn't be with him and go to school. Fair enough. Yeah. It's just, it's, hey, man, you got to make a big decision. Yeah. You got to make a big decision. And you have to be really. You got to be really sober in it. You hit it on the head, though. She has to have the sack to walk away if he's like, this isn't going to happen. And that's hard to do. It's really hard to do. Well, the fact is that she wants to get married. The fact is that she's 33 years old. The fact is that when she's done with school, she'll be 35. And the fact is that even if he agrees, she will be 35. By the time she finishes school. And so she has to factor all that in and say, what about her? Is she willing to do that? Right. And if she's willing to do that, that's A-okay. You know, my wife was not willing to do that. She wasn't willing to wait. And that's all right. I don't have to. I could go. If I wanted to, I could go. All right. Feast. See you.
But, you know, and it goes back to the analogy of if your job says to you, hey, listen, you can keep this job, but you're going to have to work 60 hours a week. Well, you got a choice to make. Am I willing to? Am I willing to work 60 hours a week? I really love this job, but I'm not willing to work 60 hours a week for this job. Or maybe the answer is I don't want to work 60 hours a week. It's not really something that I that. I'm dying to do, but there is no way in the world I'm giving up this job. I love it too much. There's no way. And that is, that's what it's going to come down to. Are we amongst one of America's laziest cities? Mikey, you and Woods definitely helped the curve. Yeah, I think you probably tipped it. Clearly. I love boobs, too. I love blue boobs of all sizes. I just don't think they have to be giant or rubbery. America's laziest cities is on the way. Woods just calls it his address. Well, it used to be Texas, but he moved. Now he just calls it Encinitas. Whatever zip code he's in, that's it. That's it.
That's a true statement, too. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Well, there has now been a third pit bull attack. Three now this month where people have been injured. I don't know what's going on, but earlier this month, a woman had to get one of her legs amputated. Now, a man in his 40s was severely bitten by a friend's pit bull yesterday just outside of a home in Mountain View. So, scary. Stay away from pit bulls, I guess. Also, you guys, I'm going to tell you something that might bum you out. I don't know. Shia LaBeouf confirmed that he and Megan Fox hooked up when they were filming Transformers. Define hooked up. We're intimate. They kissed. No, more than that. I don't think that he would be clownish enough to admit to the world that he was intimate with her. Clownish. Details magazine. Could she be mad? It makes him a legend. I know, but she would be mad. If he admitted to the world that he had sex with her, she'd be like, What's the matter with you? So I think he's intimating that they hooked up, meaning...
We messed around. Right. Well, the third installment of Transformers comes out today. So he was asked in Details Magazine if he and Megan had ever hooked up. And he said, look, you're on the set for six months with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you and you're rooting to be attracted to them. The time I spent with Megan was our own thing. And I think you can see the chemistry on screen. He was asked about because obviously she's married to Brian Austin Green now. They were kind of dating throughout the whole time anyway. And he said, I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what that was. So she never talked about. her relationship with Brian. He don't sound like anything. He did. He did. Yeah. He did. There's no question. They're in that trailer. They just got done filming a sweaty love scene and they're far away from their significant others. Brian Austin Green is a giant clown anyway. So he would call her on the phone. He'd be like, yo girl, what's up? You ain't be answering your phone. I know David, but that's because... My name is Brian. David was just a character that I played on 90210. Mr. Silver. It's Green. It's Austin Green. How ironic that his last name was Silver and his character was a nut. That's right. I see you at the Peach Pit. Thank you. What's up, Woods and Sports? Well, the Padres' first draft pick in 2009 is a gentleman named Donovan Tate. Well, Donovan Tate is in trouble.
have busted him for drugs. Again, this is his second time. He will be suspended 50 games. This kid received $6.25 million from the Padres, and he is a stud, but he's got some problems, man. They're saying it may be marijuana. Really? And Jed Hoyer says, we are not ready to throw in the towel on Donovan Tate yet. Probably that $6.25 million you gave him has something to do with that. Also, congratulations to the South Carolina Gamecocks. They are college baseball's champions. They won the College World Series last night over Florida. There you go. Yep. CreateYourDesignOnline.com is our friend Jared. Jared. Jared. Jared. It's amazing stuff. The guy does graphic design, and he can design a logo for you. He can do a website. He can do anything that you want. And do it really quickly, and it's the most amazing work you've ever seen. Hey, Matt. Yes, Jay. I was thinking about getting my own website. You think Jared could do that? Yeah, you could do createyourdesignonline.com. You go there and get one. I wonder if the Domain name. It's Domain. Domain. What is it? Domain. Domain. Domain. Domain. No, Domain. Domain. Mrperfect.com is available. I think it was taken by a professional wrestler years ago, so I don't know that it's available. Mrperfect.gov.
Maybe that's available. I'm going to ask Jared. You'd have to be a government agency in order for that to be a qualification. Well, Mike, I mean, let's call a spade a spade. All right. Let's also, before we tell the story about America's laziest cities, call in for buzzword, 570-1949. We're going to play buzzword. You're going to pick me. You're going to pick Sienna, you're going to pick Jay, or you're going to pick the winner, L-O-B. No! She's so good at it. I haven't won in a while. She's so good at this. She's so good at this. Jay, what is the prize? You get $40 worth of free gameplay at Dave & Buster's. I was having trouble focusing. All right. And what is the theme? A buzzword? Yes. There's never a theme. He just gives us a word. Oh, he gives us a word. I forgot. You're feeling overwhelmed. I am. It's okay. I am. All right. Sienna, America's laziest cities. Okay. Now, this is a list of 100, so I'm just going to give you the top five laziest, and then I'll give you the top five most in shape, and I'll tell you where San Diego is. Milwaukee admits one. Of the laziest? No. Houston is one of the laziest. Not of the top five? Damn it. I will say Oklahoma City, Charleston.
Jackson, Indianapolis, and the number one laziest city is Lexington, Kentucky. Now, if you want to know where San Diego falls on the list, we are the 21st most active. What? Yeah, we're not in the top ten. So we don't even make the 100 of laziest? No, it goes, number 100 is the laziest. Number one is the most active. Got it. And so we're number 21 on the list. I'm going to guess the most active city in America. Let's hear it. I want a few guesses, though. I don't think you're going to be right. Fort Lauderdale, Florida. No. Seattle. Not even on the top. Seattle, Washington. Boulder. Number one was Seattle. Seattle. I wonder why. I would have never thought that was a little rain. Organic. Organic. They're very crunchy, very granola-y. A lot of hiking. A lot of hiking. The other most athletic or active, San Francisco. Oakland. Surprising. Washington, D.C.
In Salt Lake City. A bunch of liars. I know. Reno, Portland, Atlanta. What? We are number 21. Reno beats San Diego? I'm sorry. No offense. That place is a toilet bowl. Wow. Let's play buzzword. M1 Chris from San Diego. Who do you want? LME. Yeah. She's so good. Pick first. No wonder. M1 Travis from Lakeside. Who do you want? Let me get Sienna. You got it. Hang on. M1 Zena from San Diego. Who do you want? I got Woods. You got it. And last, M1 Teeth from San Diego. You've got me. All right. Sounds good. All right. Hang on. What's the word, Jerry? What's the word? Good God. Yay. Tell us the word. The word is never. Never. N-E-V-E. All right, he's going to give us a clue that's got never in it. Never. A mother's work. Never done. Wow. Quitters never win. Never prosper. Cheaters never prosper. Quitters never win and... Cheaters never lose? Quitters never win and... Winners never quit. Thank you. Oh, wow. Good job, Lauren. I haven't either. I thought Lauren's prosper thing was right. I did too.
A watched pot. Nevermore! A wop-pot. A wop-o-ja. Woods. A watched pot. A washed. Watched. Watched. A watched pot. Goes back in the cabinet. Go see it. Small wonders. Never see. Never see. Woods. Gosh. Such a mom saying. Wonders never see. Quote the word raven. What? Nevermore! Nevermore! What language are you speaking? Put the raven. Raven Simone. Put the raven. Put the brains on the raven. Everybody loves raven. Everybody loves raven. Everybody loves raven. Part of the game. It makes the game twice as hard because Jay reads it. Be a part of the game.
Focus on what you're going to say, then say it. Comatown Luigi. Why change things now? If he focuses too hard, that's when he messes up. That's what happened. Movie. Never ending story. About Peter Pan. Never ending. Dang it. Who got that? Lauren. Dang it. I thought I had it. Oh, my gosh. Sienna, you had that in your head. You were waiting. I was waiting. Forget it. Never mind. Mikey, did you say it first? No. You just screamed out never. Woods. Woods and Lauren are tied with three. Mikey has one. I'm failing miserably. Right away or not at all. Now or never. Oh, that was loud. Never what? What is it? Now or never. Now or never. We all scream in the microphone now. Because Woods starts the trend. It always happens. Never fails! There's nothing.
More embarrassing than when you're the only guy that screams at me. When did Lauren are still tied before? And veins are popping out of your neck. Your whole body cleanses. And your face is red. And you're squinting. I want a new word. New word. New word. I never want to get a new word. What's the word? The new word is change. Change. C-H-A-N-G-E. Okay. Okay. Here we go. Replace the 10W40 in your car. Change your oil! Gosh darn it. Your brain is good. Woods is like panting. The more they stay the same. The more things change! The more things change! Who won? Lauren. Yeah, Lauren! Is it over? No. Is it over? That's the score, Sienna. Lauren and Woods are still tied. It's a battle to the death today. Okay, this is the last one and it's a five-pointer. No! I'm going to stare at L.O.B. Emotional re-evaluation. I was still on never. So close. We've got to do another. That was it. It was a change of heart. I said change of mind. Change of mind. There you go. She's so good. I told you. She's so good. V.C. is so good. She was on point today. V.C. V.C. is so good. I'm one Chris. Oh, I'm exhausted.
Whoa. I feel like I need a shower. Yeah. I know. Not on my cell phone. That would be a good job. Thank you. Yeah, you just want a number two pencil. I don't even know what you were playing for, but we were playing like it was a million dollars. I know. David Buster's $40 gift card. Happy birthday. I'm exhausted. Today in theaters, as Sienna said, Transformers, Dark of the Moon. Good people in this movie. Excuse me. Colonel Lennox. Director Mearing. This is Sam Witwicky, a civilian. I know his name, Colonel. I want to know who gave him clearance. Who gave me clearance? How about Optimus Prime when he touched down in suburbia looking for my house? This is the National Intelligence Director. Hi. Disrespecting a federal officer. Maybe that'll get you somewhere. Who's she? She's my girlfriend. What is this, like a date? She knows all about the Autobots, okay? She knows Bumblebee, and she comes from a military family.
I can vouch for it. Hey, I have an idea. How about we get back to the important topics, like the fact that I almost had my face cut off by a Decepticon. As a taxpayer, I'd like to lodge a complaint, as a matter of fact. Hey, Woods, I'm with you. He almost got his face cut off by a Decepticon. Yeah. Shia LaBeouf, isn't it? Shia LaBeouf. LaBeouf. Shia LaBeouf. Shia LaBeouf. Shia LaBeouf. Josh Duhamel. Josh Duhamel. Josh Duhamel. Tyrese is in it. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who's Gorge. Patrick Dempsey. Also gorgeous. John Malkovich. He's lost him. You know, I was out after the first one because All of the action went by so fast, I couldn't make anything out. When one of those things would fly through the air, I would be like, what is, what, what? You saw the first one. Yeah, I saw the first one. And I had no interest at all. I'd never seen the TV show Transformers. No interest. But when those things would turn into those things. Wow. Descriptive.
I didn't get it. I couldn't follow it. My eye couldn't follow it. It would just go by real fast. It looked like a cartoon. You know when I loved Transformers? When I was six. Then I grew up. And I learned to read and do other stuff. Wow. You're so intelligent. But doesn't it bring you back to your... No, it doesn't. Then I realized, hey, girls look pretty good when they're nude. Alright, fine. I understand where you're coming from. You can like both. I do. There you go. I like nude robots. I like nude robots. Well, if we're being honest, I like nude robots. I just don't like to touch nude robots. Now, I built one in my garage, and Kim, I will admit, was a little upset.
Yeah, you know, her cans were actually cans. Real cans. Oil cans. Cans. Didn't that be 40? I really like the maid from the Jetsons. That was kind of my first crush. Rosie. Oh, yeah, Rosie. Palm. Yeah. Slow-mo. Oh. Everything he says sounds like creep juice. Everything he says sounds like a documentary on a serial killer. Yeah. It's like Eileen Wuornos just went. She just got the shiver. Sienna, tell me about the Russian scientist that is expected to meet aliens by 2031. Well, this Russian scientist, well, there is a few of them. They expect humanity to encounter alien civilization within the next two decades by 2031. They say they will. Yeah. All right.
Not a, they're like, we will do it. Humanity. All of us will encounter. Oh, I got you. Alien civilization. Now, do they say why they picked 2031? No. They just say that life exists on other planets. You know, we found water there. If there's water, then why wouldn't there be life? A lot of these other planets look just like Earth. Why wouldn't they be there? We have one of these Russian scientists here right now with us, and he is going to tell us all about it. Hello, Vladimir. Hello. Can you tell us? Can you tell us why 2031? Why not 2030? It's an odd number. Why 2031? I will tell you. Our technology would have changed. Oh, my God. Technology would have changed, you say. Yeah. And so how will technology change in such a way that aliens, what does our technology have to do with aliens contacting us, Vladimir, Russian scientist? Our sound systems, as you see, will be so much better.
That we will receive signals. What's this covering his face? This is great. We will receive their signals so much more clearly. Thank you very much. I'm going to pull the curtain back. We don't let Jay know what the story of the Jay is. In fact... Before our radio program begins, we make him leave the room and we shut the door. This morning, we were looking through the news and Woods goes, how about the Russian scientist expected to meet the aliens by 2031 is the story of the J. I said, perfect. Lauren O'Brien said, I guarantee his Russian scientist will sound like an Indian.
I was totally set up with a different voice. And I thought in my head, I'm like, there's no way. There's no way. There's no way. There's no way. There's no way. Yes, there is a way. Yes, there is a way. Yes. It is the story of the J. You three, Laura and Mike and Woods, you guys can do the voices. Most people cannot. That's what makes the story of the J the most delicious things my ear has ever heard. Yeah, if we went to Mike and I was like, so, Mr. Russian Vladimir, tell us when the aliens are coming. Well, I told you before that you will be in 3031. So see, that's not funny. Well, I know. That is hysterical. It's funny, but you guys have a gift that most people don't have. Understand that we have gifts, but the funny thing is. Yes. Oh, my God. The funny thing is that when you listen to someone. Then you could do it. Sprecking your dodge. Isolate, isolate, isolate, isolate. Sprecking my dodge. Isolate that.
Jay is the best. He's the best. I did his review yesterday with him and I said to him, I don't know when it happened, but at some point you were like a pick in the ground and black oil just started spewing up into the air. Texas tea. It's the truth. That should be his new nickname. Yeah. He's our very own Texas T. Who would have thought? Who would have ever thought? When we first started in the air, he would, two words a day. Yes, Mike. No, Mike. No, Mike. Hey, we did this for a year. It was Hoyle. Yeah. Hoyle, our, Hoyle Hanready, our station manager. Then one day, Hoyle turned into Jay. And the rest was history. I think it was when Lauren discovered the Jasper. Jasper? And then it started it all, I think. Hey, Jasper. Hey, Jasper. Bring that thing over here. It's the greatest. Thank you, Lauren. Yep, you got it. It's been like a nine month, like an eight month ride. You know how I'm sure something is okay and working? When I'm not on the radio and I'm in the parking lot of Stater Brothers with my wife and I'm talking like this. Right.
And she's laughing. Yeah. And I'm not on the air. When I'm grocery shopping with my wife, and I'm like, I ain't paying $9 for a can of sauce, Jamie. I'm not. And she starts laughing. Yes. And you know it's good. You know how else you know? When your wife, who doesn't do voices, every once in a while will try to do this. Because it fits, and then she'll go, that's. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. That's when you know. Yeah. I know when I'm shopping with your wives, and it's like it's so much fun. Creepy Uncle Jay. That's our Uncle Jay, isn't it? Mike, I would like to have sex with your wife. Here's a joke I've never said before. Your wife is real hot. Dear Barry. Oh, no. Tomorrow, I'm going to get him this way. You know who I mean. I am going to mention his hot wife. And man, is she hot. If she comes up in conversation, in parentheses, that's... Oh my God. I will say to him or Woods, I would like to do it with them swipes. Them swipes. Signed, Jason R. Jason R.

In a minute, we're going to be talking about an e-mail that we got about a vasectomy. E-marrow. An e-marrow. If you didn't know, yesterday... there was some bombshells dropped in the Casey Anthony trial. And I mean bombshells. Casey Anthony's father's name is George Anthony. And while Kaylee was missing, the two-year-old, George Anthony knew a woman whose name is Crystal Holloway. And yesterday, Mr. Anthony got hit with this. You may proceed. Thank you, Your Honor.
Mr. Anthony, do you know a woman by the name of Crystal Holloway? I know her by that name and also another name. What other name do you know her by? River Cruz. Now, there's some pause there, okay? Because there was a pause on Mr. Anthony's part when he said, do you know someone named Crystal Holloway? Now, he knows Crystal Holloway. He knows her really well. He knows her well enough that he's been to her home. On three occasions at least. Now, when you're asked, do you know Crystal Holloway? The answer is yes, I do. But there is time that is taken between do you know Crystal Holloway and his answer. And I would like to submit to everybody listening that in that pause, he was doing the following. Why are they asking me about Crystal Holloway?
Why are they asking me about her? Oh, maybe they're asking me about her because I slept with her. Uh-oh. What do I do? Well, she's a dirtbag. I'm going to paint her as a dirtbag. She used to also go by River Cruise. And how do you know her? She came to our command center up on Goldenrod where the skating rink is at in October of 2008. Did you have a romantic relationship with her? No, sir. No. To me, that's very funny. It is? Yes, sir. And were you ever intimate with her? No, sir. It was also very funny. That's also very hysterical. In fact, I'm dying of laughter. It's one of the funniest things I've ever heard. If you define the word funny and you look it up in the dictionary, there's a picture of me.
and you mentioning Crystal Holloway. Okay, okay. So he's a police officer. Yes. Testified, I would imagine, hundreds of times in many cases. Maybe more. Probably more. Objection, that's speculation. He was a career in thousands. You don't think that he would know how to respond? I mean, to me, and I don't know, I'm not even following it that closely, it doesn't sound that outrageous to me. If I had not had sex with Crystal Holloway and they said, do you know Crystal Holloway? I'd have said, yep. That's you. Well, I got nothing to hide. Well, he's got nothing to hide either. He's just trying to give as much information. He's trying to be as forthcoming as he can be. This is how he knows. He knows her two ways. She has this name. He probably met her and found out, you know, like talking to her in the search. Going to her house. Probably got that info when he was hanging out over at her gated house. Did you ever go to her house? On two, possibly three occasions. So three. And I can explain that. Two, possibly three. Let's call it five. I was there eight times. And by eight, I mean 12. 17 times I was there. Let him explain. 25 times. You know that you have to pass a guard gate to get to our home, do you? Questions of other witnesses' testimony. I didn't ask any questions of any other witnesses. The judge is like...
Hey, I want to know what's up. Over-freaking-ruled. You mean, I want to know what's up. He has a little sorrow when he does stuff. Yes, sir, I can explain that. It's going to take a few moments to explain that to you. And to everyone else that's here. I've got to think of my answer. Just give me a few minutes. Do you have a pad of paper? If you have a pad of paper and a few minutes... And by a few minutes, I mean a couple hours. I can tell you why I was there three times. Can we get a recess? Yes. And by recess, I mean a week. Ever been slandered by everybody that you know? Yes. Yes. And then... Yes. So you want to make sure you get your time to come back and stay, right? You don't want to just be like, pack your stuff up. When I don't have anything to hide, I will answer questions. If anybody bothers to ask me a question, I will answer it. If they remind me of something that I have to go, oh, crap, yep, that's true too. But if I don't have anything to hide, ask away. And yes, I have been slandered. Yes, I have been slandered. And I have nothing to hide. And I am willing to talk. He's trying to make sure that he gets an opportunity. I can't explain it, but if you don't let me explain it, which is what you're probably going to do, because you're going to ask me a question and then cut it off.
So I want to throw out there that I want my turn to tell you why I've been to her house three times. The reason that I think that that's weird is because he still gets cross-examination. He gets cross-examination. So if it's me and somebody goes, hey, Mike, do you know Lauren O'Brien? Yes. Now, let's say that Lauren used to be a stripper named Portia. And they say, do you know Lauren O'Brien? Yep. In fact, if I know I haven't done anything wrong, I'll be like, bring it on. And so I will go, yep. And you go, really? Have you ever had a romantic relationship with Miss O'Brien? Nope. Have you ever been to her house? Yes. How many times? Three. No further questions. Then the other guys get up and they go, why were you at her house? Whatever. For whatever reason, I was actually there. Did you ever have a romantic relationship with her? No. Have you ever been accused before today of having a romantic relationship with her? No. Do you know her by any other name? Yes. What other name do you know her by? Portia. Do you know what the name Portia, why she had two names? Yes. What was the name Portia about? She was an exotic dancer.
I just answer the questions. No further questions. No further questions. He will have his shot to explain himself. The fact that he's over-talking, which I can understand. I'd probably do the same thing. But it does seem fishy. There's a lot of fishiness to that cat. Yes. A lot. Because, listen, when they've asked him questions where the answer is no, he has no problems going, no. No. But on this one, it's been a little different. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but. You know, there is some fishiness to this clown. I'm telling you. Some other craziness. He tried to commit suicide, George Anthony. And he says that the reason that he tried to commit suicide was because he was overcome with grief of his granddaughter dying. Does that make sense? I'm just going to ask you. Does that seem normal? Maybe it does. Maybe it does. Maybe it doesn't. But we'll discuss. The Mikey Show coming up in minutes. Oh, stop it.

When did it become okay to make products designed to be used once and then thrown away? KBZT, San Diego, Lincoln Financial Radio Station. And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. I get along better with women than I do with men. Lauren. I'm very clumsy. Woods. I like to grease the maitre d's from time to time. Sienna. I'm an expert golfer, actually. I bet. And Jay. If it's broken, there's a 99% chance that I can fix it. On FM 94.9. Tonight's 8 o'clock album, Elliot Srell. The album is XO. And L.O.B. made the point earlier.
Don't have any sharp objects around. He stabbed himself in the heart. Oh, I thought it was because the music was real sad. It is. It is. It also is. So sad, in fact. I think that's what she meant. She did, but so sad, in fact, that the artist himself stabbed himself in the heart. Well, good night, everybody. Feast on that. L.O.B. believes that it's completely normal behavior for a grandfather. Not a father, a grandfather to be so grief stricken when his granddaughter is gone that he would commit suicide. Well, under these specific circumstances, you're talking to murder where the accused murderer is your daughter. And now there are people swarming your house, dragging you into the street on other occasions, screaming baby killer. Your wife is.
I'm speculating here. A B. She has a bowl haircut. Yeah. And you're retired and pretty much all your life was was revolving around your granddaughter and your daughter. And now there's all this scrutiny around your family. And it's a lot. I think it's tough. But why do you try to kill yourself? Why does anybody that does? I mean, you can't get into that. Because life has gotten so, like, hopeless. That's it. She just actually swayed me. I was leaning towards you. Her thing that she just presented kind of swayed me. I'm like, hmm, makes sense. I totally agree with that. The guy's world has just, the world as he knew it is over. It is over and it's never going to be the same. Ever. And it's always, he's feeling so sad and he feels like it's never not going to be sad. He lost his daughter, basically. He lost a daughter and a granddaughter and the bowl haircut. So that's one, two, and three right there. Son. Son. Yeah. How is his record as a police officer? I mean, was he, you know, an upstanding? Did he have a good cop? I don't know. I mean, they're bound to go back and show his record because otherwise they would have said something about it already if it was bad. I don't know. But one thing I do know is that the family's real weird, man. They are strange. Family is weird. And they, and what's, I'll tell you what is the creepiest about them. Creepiest thing about them is like when a serial killer, when everybody goes, I never thought that. That is what's creepy. Yeah.
He looks like a district attorney. He looks like he should have a sailboat. Yeah. Doesn't he? Yes. Grab some Chardonnay that we're going to go sailing today. He looks like every general manager I've ever had. He looks like Judge Schmales from Caddyshack. Yes. Identical. His wife is very normal looking. His son is handsome. His daughter is beautiful. His granddaughter was beautiful. His granddaughter was beautiful. They look very normal. But they are very weird. Yes. The mom was real controlling. And the mom seems like she lies. She hired a private investigator. She hired two private investigators. And she sent them out to this road because a psychic had told the private investigators that that's where Kaylee's remains were. And so she sent these private investigators out there to take a look. And her and her son Lee got into an argument about it because Lee's like, hey, you can't tell me any of this stuff. What are you talking? I didn't even know Kaylee is like being considered dead. And so her son was angry with her. And on the stand yesterday, she denied all of it. Prior to September 2008, did you tell your son Lee Anthony?
that you had sent Dominic Casey and or Jim Hoover to Suburban Drive to look for Kaylee with a video camera? I had never told anybody that I sent those guys there because I never sent those guys there. What about after? I know you just answered, but I want to make sure about the time period. What about after? Or around the time of November 2008, did you tell Lee or have an argument with Lee about sending Dominic to go and search in that area? I had no knowledge of that search in that area, so I would not have had an argument regarding that. So about 20 seconds later, they called her son Lee Anthony to the stand, and this happened. Mr. Anthony, did you ever have... an argument or discussion with your mother about sending Dominic Casey to look for Kaylee off Suburban Drive with a video camera? Yes, sir, I did. Did you go to your parents' home? Yes, sir, I did. And when you got there, did your mother tell you anything about sending Dominic with a video camera to Suburban Drive? Yes, sir, that did happen. What did she tell you? That she...
Sent Dominic into the woods off of Suburban because she got a psychic tip that she wanted to follow up on. And when did this conversation take place? Approximately. Time or date or? The month of 2008. It was later in the year. I don't recall exactly. I'm sorry. And did it create an argument between you two? Might have been one-sided on my part. Absolutely. Quite angry. Why were you angry? It was the first time I'd ever heard anyone in my family offer it up that they were willing to look for a deceased Kaylee. Prior to that, not even within the realm of anybody's mindset. So I was quite angry. Holy cow. It's pretty different than what mom just said. Isn't it pretty easy to get Donna McDonough, whatever his name is, Casey, up on the stand and go, hey, did she tell you to go do this?
And he'll go, yeah, or no. Yes. Yeah. So why, which, I mean, who's going to benefit out of lying about this? Well, same could be said for the son. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. It's, I mean, she would be foolish to think that they're not going to call him up to ask him. I think what the mom was betting on is my son will cover my butt. I'm going to say, no, I never did that. And my son is going to get up 20 seconds after me and he's not going to throw me under the butt. He's my son. he's not gonna throw me into the bus well no that son's actually pretty mad at you and the kid was missing for a month and he didn't start to think that there may be a deceased body somewhere no you don't give up hope no in fact too many too many instances yeah he has just said that it's only been recently that he's even able to come to terms of the fact that kaylee's dead dude elizabeth smart was gone for so like years you know and and she came back and there's just so many instances after a month you're not like
Let's start looking for a corpse, guys. You know what I mean? You just can't. Especially if you're family. You couldn't do it. I don't think. Let me tell you. This trial has turned into as big as the O.J. Simpson trial. And in terms of pure drama, maybe more. Yeah. In terms of pure drama, maybe more. It's incredible. Hill, have you followed any of this stuff? I am choosing to completely not pay attention to any of it. It is so disturbing to me. A lot of times with news, there's so much information out there. I just block stuff out because anything involving harming children, I don't want any detail in my head. I don't want to know about it. It's a horrible thing. Did it, obviously deserves to be punished accordingly, but I just don't want to know about it and I want that information. It's such a trip because Sienna had reported on it, you know, like forever as it was going on. Same as you, I was like, I can't go there. I can't think about it. And then once this trial started and the things started unfolding, it slowly, it slowly, I went, what?
Now, it's, I mean, it's...
