The show centered on the Casey Anthony trial, with the hosts debating the verdict, making a $100 bet, and setting up the Wheel of Pain to determine a punishment. They featured a variety of memorable segments—from Lauren O'Brien's praised recap and the Octomom interview to a bizarre nude‑man‑at‑Chipotle story, a carbon‑monoxide‑detector PSA, and the announcement that Woods and Jay will appear on Wipeout. The episode closed with Mikey's candid addiction recovery story and information on where listeners can find help.

Friday, Friday before a long weekend. And today begins the first day of Live in July. It means that every day that we broadcast in the month of July, we will have a live studio audience at 9 a.m. And so you are allowed to come into the studio at 9 a.m. And it's pretty cool. And so 9 o'clock this morning, we will have a full studio. Because it made more sense. You know, if we're going to be doing that every day, it's a tough thing. There's a lot going on. A lot of coordination. A lot of coordination. And so we're trying to keep it so that we are able to get people in here and get people out of here. And we're going to have coffee and donuts and stuff. Yes. Awesome. I just call it breakfast. There you go. So I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I am...
41 years of age. Hello, Mike. Hello, Mike. Woods can say, hello, Mike, because my Hungarian nanny, Nita, is out of town. And we can't do that while she's in town because it makes her uncomfortable and my wife uncomfortable when they're standing in the kitchen listening to the radio and we start to do this. This is so fun, Mike. Hello, Mike. This is so much fun. Goodbye, goodnight. Woods is our sports guy. He is 35 years of age. Jay played that sound clip for you. Not Nita. You're Hungarian. It's for you. Thank you very much. That's right. It's funny because he's fat. That's Jay. He's just coming out swinging. Our assistant producer is Lauren O'Brien. L-O-B. She's the blondie to my right. She has a boyfriend named Matt Commerce, her BFMC. Sienna is 26. Her husband's name is Todd. The God. And he is a little bit older than Sienna. Sienna's 26. He is 82. Yes. 39. My man. Handsome guy. Very sharp guy. Love him. Jay.
Is our producer. He is 48 years of age. And he is looking forward to the long weekend. We'll tell you about that in just a bit in his recap. Oh. And our phone screener is Chris. It's Kross. Yeah, it's Kross. Today, the word of the day is Plumeria. Mikey. Mikey. Much like the one on your Tommy behind the show. Much like the one that you insisted on having in your office here at work. Big tattoo on your back. TV in the middle of it. Like the bumper sticker on your car. Right. Don't. Don't. I don't. I do. When you hear me say that word, caller nine gets four packet tickets to the Wave Water Park, but also four packet tickets to SeaWorld. Wow. Yeah. 570-194-9 you want to call in. Let's see. So I don't usually.
like actually say and promote that later in the show, we're going to be talking about somebody's recap. But today we're going to be talking about Lauren O'Brien's recap. Sweet. Wow. Because when I read it, I, my eyes bugged out of my head and I highlighted it and I said, now that's a recap. Yeah. This is the, this should be in the recap textbook. It should be in the recap Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame. It's an HOF-er. Yes. And it's a, you know, just so that you know, it has to do with her being a girl and crying about something that had to do with her boyfriend. Yes. Weird. Wheel of Pain at 8. That is when I will give bands names.
And Woods and Jay have to try to figure out, is that a real band name or a fake band name? Did Mike make it up or is it real? And whoever does better doesn't have to spin the wheel of pain. But whoever messes up spins it. Things like three shocks from a dog collar, which Woods, that's his kryptonite. Getting shocked makes him really upset. Yes. Or the next one is one of Woods that he has a hard time with too. Three drops of hot sauce. Yes. He's got a real sensitivity to hot sauce. Fragile. Ketchup is not hot sauce woods. It is where I come from. Three bag tag shots. They hurt, but they both can handle it. Yes. Then there's a couple of easy ones on there. Get a back rub. Get a foot massage. Three hippity hop hits are... Bad news. They're bad news. Stingers, man. Those hippity-hop things, those ones that little kids bounce on, and they will take the handle and whack each other. Like whack a gopher. Yeah. Whack-a-mole. Whack-a-mole. Whack-a-mole. What is this? Is this new? I don't know. Three days. Oh, three days with black painted fingernails.
Woods, that would mean the three-day weekend for you. Right. And we're going to Phoenix. Yes. Taking our wives to see Bad Blake. Oh, gosh. I hope. You know, Jeff Bridges is doing his role as Bad Blake and doing his crazy harp music. On the beach, for sure, for Fourth of July. Yep. I'm undefeated. I've yet to win, yeah. I was just going to say, I need to get on the board today. This is ridiculous. Yeah. So, anyway, we'll be doing that at 8 o'clock. And today's the first day of Live in July. Now, yesterday... If you did not know, the defense rested in Casey Anthony's trial. And the big question is, is Casey Anthony going to testify? Is it your decision not to testify based upon consultation with your counsel? Yes, sir. You understand that your decision to testify. Question for Woods and Jay. Cute voice. The judge? Not at all. Kind of did it for me. The robe, too. I thought he was hot. Into the glasses, I wasn't really... I hear he's commanded by to meet that robe. I will not testify. Yeah, listen to that. It's solely your decision and your decision alone. Yes, sir. And it is your decision not to testify. Yes, sir. Cute voice. Yes. Jay? Oh, yeah. You heard it. I think... Ridiculous. She's not testifying. Too bad. In her own defense.
And which I think is a smart move. Oh, yeah. You know, they obviously know that if she gets up there and testifies, she will be absolutely ripped apart by the prosecution. The prosecution's pretty good. I told you yesterday that Cindy Anthony had testified and said, I looked up chlorophyll on our computer and that led me to look up chloroform on our computer. And the prosecution got up and they said. Well, that seems strange because our records indicate that you should have been at work on these days. And she said, oh, no, I have an answer for that. See, I'm a salaried employee, and so I can come and go as I please. And so that must have been a day where I went home. And now that the defense has said we're all done, prosecution gets one more shot. And they have to submit to everybody who they're going to bring up in their last shot. and they're going to bring up three people. And the three people are her former boss, the head of IT, and the human resources person, which tells you that obviously they think she was lying when she said, I was at home looking at chloroform. Not my daughter, me. I was looking for chloroform. And they asked her, well, what about work? Do they have records of that? No, they don't keep those records, and I don't work there anymore, and da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
Well, they do keep those records and they have them. And yesterday they had to submit them to the defense so that the defense could be prepared. And you guys didn't see this because this happened late in the day. But the defense tried to have those witnesses tossed out. And the judge listened to them give their points for, I'm not kidding you, 30 minutes. And I watched all of it. And at the end of the 30 minutes, he said, yep, I don't think there's anything wrong with these witnesses. They're going up. And I'll tell you, the defense made a pretty good case for why they shouldn't be able to. And in the end, he said, sorry. Do they get a redirect after the prosecution? Yeah, they get a redirect. There's nothing they can do, though. And they said, and they were like, they go, well, judge, okay, but, you know, we're going to need some time to have our...
computer experts take a look at all this information. And he says, how long is that going to take? And I want you to take into account that you have been sworn by the state of Florida to act appropriately as attorneys in this state. So with that being said, how long is it going to take you? And Casey Anthony is looking up at her attorney, this woman, the woman attorney, and she's answering the question. She says, well, To have him just go through these records, if they're on a computer file, it'll probably take at least an hour to go. And Casey gives her a look. Like, Casey wanted her to say, it should take at least two years. Yeah, yeah, at least. To pour through this. 2017. Yeah, but we think in 2017, we'll be ready to give you a time that we'll be able to look at it. You know, but no, she said about an hour, you know, and Casey's like. I think that's one of the major reasons they're not going to put her on the stand.
She's a hothead. We've seen it. We've seen it in the hidden videos and stuff. The jailhouse videos. If prodded by the prosecution, she will snap. Okay, I think you're right, Woods. I think Woods is right. Here was something else that you'll think is crazy. The prosecution gets up and he says, and no jurors in the courtroom. Court's over for the day, right? And the lead prosecutor. gets up and he says, judge, I just want to be proactive and bring something up before it happens. If it happens, I just want to bring this up so that we can figure out what we're going to do if this happens. I want to know what we'll do if the jury wants to smell the inside of the can that contains the odors that we've talked about. Get your mind around that. And the judge looks at the defense. He says, do you have a problem with that? And they said, yes.
We have, yes. See, because what the defense is contending is that the smell that was coming from the back of Casey's car was garbage. Not a body. Garbage. And the defense says, where is there precedent of anybody, and so, prosecutor's ready, he says, in the state of Alaska, in the case of so-and-so versus so-and-so, he who smelt it versus dealt it. There was a case involving marijuana and the defendant was claiming that it wasn't marijuana. And so the jury was allowed to smell the inside of a bag to see if they themselves agreed that it was not the smell of marijuana. And it was determined that it was the smell of marijuana and the person was prosecuted. And so that one the judge has not ruled on yet. But the one thing that they did decide was that if they do.
that every single juror would have to take part. And I'm telling you, I would say I ain't doing that. Yeah, I don't want it. I don't want it. I'm not doing that. Oh, God. I would not want to. That's not marijuana. Yeah, it ain't marijuana. Rotting body. Yeah. Child. Child. Oh, gosh. How do you feel now? You. What do you think? Dude, I'm not sure. Are you not? I'm not sure what's going to happen. Really? No, because I'm asking myself, has reasonable doubt been given? I think it kind of has. Yeah, I mean, it's... I'm not sure. I feel like in my heart and in my brain, I know with 100% what's going to happen. 100%. You cannot. Well, I can because I do, I think. You think you know for sure. I think I know for 100% fact what is going to happen. Based on what you've seen. Yeah, and what I've read and heard. 100%. 100%.
No way. 100%. Write it down. Okay. Write down. Put it in. Yeah, but don't let me see it. Okay. Put it in an envelope. Do we have an envelope? Here it was. And seal it. Here you go. Okay. What do I win? Do we have an envelope? Is there envelopes in there, Chris? Can we find an envelope? Yeah. Oh, I bet we can. Like the simplest of things. Is there a stable? Well, is it envelope or envelope first? Let's establish that. I believe envelope. He's getting one. Envelope. I'll write it down. What do I get if I'm right? Do I get something? A hundred dollars. Wow. A hundred bucks? A hundred dollars. Wow. Yes. If you're right. Now. I just made a hundred bucks. Woods. Woods. Woods. Woods. Woods. Yes. Let's establish the possibilities. Guilty. Not guilty. Hung jury. Okay. So you have to pick one of those. Oh, yeah. And you have. Okay. Yeah. If you're wrong, you have to do.
What do I have to do? Do I have to shave my head in a fryer's cut? Oh, wait. I'm already doing that. Do I have to eat donuts off the bathroom floor? Wait. I did that. You have to come to my home and watch The Lord of the Rings. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. And you have to do a report on it. That's fair. $100 and that? That's not even a punishment. I know. I tried to pay him $60 to watch a movie. He's got an envelope. Why do you movie rape me? You movie rape me. I movie rape me. You're a movie rapist. I am. You are. I admit it. What a terrible punishment. $100, though. And you're 100% sure. You're not 99% sure. That's right. That's true. Write it down. All right. Don't let anyone say no in law. Charge of? It's either going to be guilty, not guilty, or hung jury. On the charge of murder. And I don't want to know. None of us. Okay. On the charge of murder. Okay. He should have to do something else. He can't just watch the movie. Easy over there. I do plenty. I said he has to watch the movie and do a report. Oh, okay. Leave me a report. Ew, Woods. I would like, that's the strangest envelope licking maybe I've ever seen. I one time licked it the long way and cut my tongue. So now I do it this way. Now I do the quick. How'd you lick it? You licked it the long way? Oh my God. You lapped it up. I lapped it up. I'll write on here, verdict. Yes. Oh my God. And give it to Chris. I'll give it to Chris. And you keep it in a safe place. There you go. Woods hates movie. He's never seen Lord of the Rings.
I'm convinced that he'd like it if he watched it. Zero percent. No way. There's so many things I'd rather do than watch that terrible movie. Even if he likes it, he won't admit it. Here's the deal. Honest Cap, if I really enjoy it, I will admit it. I promise. You know me. I'll tell the truth. I think he's right. I will. I will tell the truth. Now that he has said that, I believe him. You're going to like it. You can't help but like it. Would rather eat Jay's toenails than watch Lord Jesus. Oh, gosh. Let's do that. Off of his foot. Oh, my God. Oh, see, now I'm out. How long is this movie? Like four hours? It's, well, if we were to, see, really, if when we say a movie, it's three movies, but I'm not going to do that to you. Oh, thank God. I'm just going to do the first one. Make you watch the first one. Okay. First one's long, though. And then how long of a report? Yeah, you know. Not even, I mean, because it's radio. I don't want to bore people, but I want you to give us a... Well, if we don't want to bore people, we shouldn't talk about Lord of the Rings. You know what? You know what I mean? We should reevaluate. I can't wait. I hope. What if I love it so much that I go get the trilogy and I'm like, ooh, Gollum and all the nerds. That would be great. What movie do you want me to watch that I won't? Donnie Brasco. Oh, yeah, I don't want to watch that.
He won't watch it. It's too dirty. Hangover. Hangover. I never want you to watch something that makes you uncomfortable because it's dirty. Right. He wants me to watch stuff that he's convinced I'll like but won't watch. Right. All right, so. Made is another one. I'll give you 100 and I'll watch either Made or. Okay. You got to pick. Or Donnie Brasco. Yeah. Okay. Done deal. Yeah. Yes. Let's see. I love a good bet. The NBA has made it official, right? Yes, sir. What's the deal? Well, go ahead and play the clip from NBA Commissioner David Stern, the first one. The goal here has been to make the league profitable and to have a league where all 30 teams can compete. And since neither of those goals stated earlier have been achieved, the owners really don't have any choice. Yeah, he has put the blame for the lockout, which did happen 12-0-1 this morning. The NBA and the NFL are now officially locked out. puts the 2011-2012 season in jeopardy, and the NFL is trying to wrap up their deal. And with the NBA, they have outlined a couple of rules, which I thought were pretty interesting. Coaches, general managers, and other front office officials are allowed to follow players on Twitter. Twitter is a huge player in the NBA. They cannot send them a message nor retweet a player's message. Twitter is now that impactful.
In a lockout. It's like one of the first things in this article. So they do not want any contact between team personnel and players, including Twitter. And they have outlined in detail what they expect from their owners. If the owner contacts one of his players, do you know how much he can get fined? Up to a million dollars. Wow. Seven-figure fine. It's crazy because when you think about it, I guess before Twitter, the only way that you would be able to do something like that is on a website. Or to hold a press conference. Right. Now, if you want to say something to the world, you could just do it on Twitter. And it hits like that. So quick. Yeah, it's a newsmaker. It's crazy. Absolutely. So, yeah, the NBA now is locked out. It really, I was thinking about it driving in this morning. I go, you know, man, freaking professional sports, dude. Look what it has come to. Yeah. It's just crazy. The players want higher salaries. The owners don't want to pay them. Yeah. And that's essentially what it boils down to is money. And then the Dodgers. You know what? He's been talking about how the Dodgers are going bankrupt. Yes. Listen to this. Well, some of the paychecks for part time staffers like guards and ushers bounced. Their assets were frozen. Their accounts were frozen for 48 hours. And some of those guys did not. They did get paychecks. They tried to cash their paychecks and the checks bounced. So we'll pay the players. Yeah.
But the ushers and you guys, no. Sorry. Right. You're out of luck. Yeah. We're going to give you a check. It's not real. It's going to bounce. Yeah. That franchise, I was listening to Mike and Mike talk about it this morning, and they said it's going to take them 10 years to recover. You know, at least 10 years to recover. Wow. And they've got two of their best players, Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier, coming up for free agency in 16 months. Those guys are gone. I mean, they don't have the money to re-sign. core players oh my gosh it's it's a it's a bad bad deal that happened to me once in radio by the way what's that took a check and it bounced oh wow i mean i've bounced a few checks in my day weird but yeah i worked for a radio station that was owned by you know a guy it wasn't owned by a big company it was owned by a guy and it was the only station he owned you know and uh yeah and you know how much the check was for how much $316. That's how much I got paid every two weeks. Every two weeks? Every two weeks, my net was $316. My rent was $199 a month. Yeah. Wow. Where was this? Tucson. And I remember that I pulled up to the little, you know, tube at the bank. You know, you put the stuff in the tube and it... Right. Drive-thru. Sucks it up. That was good.
So I put the check in there. I signed it. Went through to the lady. And then she came on the speaker and said, I'm sorry, sir, but there's no funds to cover the check. And I said, what does that mean? It means there's no funding to cover the check that you're trying to cash. But it's my work check. I'm sorry, sir, but there's no funds to cover the check that you were given. Wow. Your heart just pounding. Yeah. Went through the next day. Next day he put money in there. He had to put money. And then he sold the station about two months later. Did he do the bit with you like, oh, I had to move some stuff around. Oh, my bad. I must have forgot to. Yeah. It's a good bit. He, this person I'm talking about, he is a very famous 70s disc jockey. And he owned the place. Very famous 70s disc jockey. It was a trip. 570-1949 is our number if you want to get a hold of us.
This story that we're going to tell you when we come back is going to trip you out. In fact, when Sienna told me the story this morning, I said to her, is that confirmed? That's a real story. And she said, yeah. And she started reading more. And I was like, wait, wait, wait. Really? This is real? There's more I haven't even told you. Oh, my gosh. LOB said the following. LOB's statement was, those children. should be taken away from her. What is the story? We'll tell you when we come back. Also, if you're going to have somebody that doesn't have experience on television, on television, make sure that they know the rules of what they can say and what they can't say. Imagine what a buck could do. I'm Mike Morris, FM 94.9. Back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. You're tall, good looking, probably listen to cool music. I'm short, overweight, and listen to theological lectures. Lauren. I had a spider that was my friend for like a week in my shower. Woods. Is there anything worse than vomiting? Anything. It's still worse. Do you cry when you vomit? Because I do. Sienna. The whole reason I'm like on Facebook is to look at pictures of babies. And Jay. You should pay attention sometimes. On FM 94.9. Facebook this morning, Sienna, because, or not Facebook, but Amazon this morning? Yeah. Because remember yesterday we were talking about the sales tax thing. Sales tax, yeah. And I read the exact thing you said. Uh-huh. Starting today, if you buy online stuff in California, you got to pay California sales tax. Yeah. Okay. And then I read that Amazon said that they were letting the state of California know we're not doing this. We think that it's unconstitutional. Wow. And so they were going to shut down sales for people here. Well, I went on this morning.
And I don't know if they're bluffing or what, because I went on this morning and got to the point where I could check out. And it said, you know, I could. I didn't actually check out because I just want to test it. Without sales tax? And it was going to let me buy something. Right. And there was no sales tax listed. Wow. Yeah, so I don't know what they're, maybe they're negotiating right now. Maybe if you actually hit submit, it wouldn't let you. You know what I mean? Because you didn't really go the whole way. Well, and do you know anything? Yep. They're blacking. They've severed ties with like 10,000 vendors right now that are based in California. Who? Amazon? Amazon. Okay. Individual bloggers and stuff like that. Okay, so if the company that you're ordering from on Amazon is based in California, that's where it's a deal. If they're making a direct commission off of it, there's all these little things that determine whether or not they have to process the sales tax. So Amazon right now is like, we're not going to do business with them. Okay, that makes sense. In other words...
If I want to buy, let's say I want to buy a pair of shoes from Nike, but Nike's corporation is located in Virginia. I can still do it. Right? Yeah. But if I want to buy a surfboard that's made and sold in California and they're a vendor for Amazon, can't do it. Amazon has already won this fight with like seven other states. Yeah. So they're trying to say to lawmakers like, hey, if you want to impose like a federal thing where it's the same, but we can't keep up with 50 different. states and start figuring out which sales tax we have to do for this, this, and this. What a nightmare. What a beating. What a freaking nightmare. So the editor of Time Magazine cursed and he cursed about President Obama. Thought it was okay. We have the clip. It had to be beeped. I rarely set appointments for recaps, but Lauren O'Brien's recap is so good. that we're going to discuss it. And we'll discuss it. What time should we do that? 7.30. 8 o'clock, Wheel of Pain, Woods and Jay. And don't forget that the word of the day is Plumeria. I can't wait to hang up the George Jones poster that we have that Jared did for us. CreateYourDesignOnline.com. We should have him do one of Bad Blake.
who we're going to see this weekend. If you want anything graphic design, then go to createyourdesignonline.com because this is the greatest in the world when it comes to it. I'm also going to be telling you about who did LOB say that person should have their children taken away. It's a crazy story. And I was asking Sienna, like, you're sure, you're sure, you're sure. She says, yes, this is a real story. And we're going to get to it in just a second. Okay, so this is an MSNBC. political analyst. Now, he's also the editor for Time Magazine. His name is Mark Halperin. And he, as a joke, says, you know, is it okay to say this? And they don't think he's serious. They don't think he's going to say something crazy. But he does. We're on the seven-second delay today. Oh, Lordy. I wanted to characterize how I thought the president behaved. How do you think? Well, we have it. We can use it, right, Alex? Yeah, sure. Come on. And the precedent has been set on this show. So we're good. I thought he was kind of a d*** yesterday. Oh, my God. Delay that. Delay that. What are you doing? I think the president... I can't believe you. I was joking. Don't do that. It wasn't that guy's fault. It was the chick, I think, that said, well, we have it running. Go ahead. Say whatever you want. What are you doing, lady? You just gave the guy license to do it. Yeah.
I would have thought she was serious. Yeah. Sounded like she was serious. Holy cow. Hey, Mikey, can I curse? You got the dump on? Yeah, man. It's Scarana and you can do whatever you want. Yeah. And then you're like, what are you doing? And then you yell at me. I thought you just said I could say it. I thought it was cool for me to say whatever I want. You just said. That's... He got in trouble for it, too. MSNBC called his comments completely inappropriate and unacceptable, and they said that he's going to be suspended indefinitely from his on-air role, and he said that he agreed with the rule. Mark Halperin. President Obama, he said, is a D. Yeah. Oh, wow. Okay, so the story that got LLB to say that that person should have their children taken away is Octomom. Nadia Solomon. She was just interviewed by InTouch Magazine. And the things I'm going to say are just going to blow your mind about what she said about her kids. So she has 14 children. Back in 2009, she had eight. She had, yeah, she's now, that's why she has the name Octomom. Some dogs don't have that many puppies. Yeah. Yeah, it's true.
Eight kids in one set, but a total of 14 children. And she was asked about the kids, obviously. And Octomom said, I hate the babies. They disgust me. That's one quote. I hate the babies. They disgust me. She went on and said, my older six are animals getting more and more out of control because I have no time to properly discipline them. She continues. She also told the magazine that she can only cope when she locks herself in the bathroom to cry. She said, quote, sometimes I sit there for hours and even eat my lunch sitting on the toilet floor. Anything to get peace and quiet. Very healthy. She's admitted that because of all of her children, her funds are lacking. She said that her bank account is overdrawn by $300. And, quote, I have no money to pay for the children's school, food, or the mortgage. Which, by the way, I believe is her.
you know, sort of asking for donations because of what she's gotten herself into. Yeah. Well, right. She also said, this is bad. Because for those of you that don't know, Nadia Solomon had a choice. She didn't have to have this many children. She opted to have. She had in vitro fertilization and the doctor that did it planted too many, you know, in there more than you're supposed to. On purpose. On purpose. Yeah. Because she wanted to have a lot of kids. She's not. Right, clearly. But this last quote is the worst. Some days I have thoughts about killing myself. Obviously, I love them, but I absolutely wish I had not had them. Do you have the dump ready? Yeah. No. She's going to be on Dr. Drew's show in two weeks on July 12th. What a pig. Yeah. That's really bad. Disgusting. I wonder if they could take the kids away because... She has admitted to being suicidal. I bet they could. I'm sure they could. 570-1949 is our number, and our text is 949mikey at gmail.com. Live in July, baby. Live in July. Today's July 1st. If that's you and you want to come be a part of our live studio audience, 9 a.m., all you got to do is go to MikeyShow.com and you can sign up and be a part of Live in July. It's going to be pretty cool. So yesterday, Woods and I were eating. We decided to eat healthy. Okay. Woods says, hey, let's go get something to eat. Something healthy. We both decided. Health. Right? Health. So, we went to Chipotle. I knew it. Now, that's not even the story. The story is, is that as we were leaving Chipotle, Woods had parked far away because there was no parking. And when I pulled in, there was a space. And he comes running up to me. Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do. He goes, I am not. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. If he wasn't naked, then he was wearing shorts that were like Speedos. Because when I looked at him, I went, oh, gosh. Because he was, he had his leg, he had his left leg, he had his left leg up on the door handle, okay? Do you understand what I'm saying? So you saw, like, me?
Well, first of all, shirtless with hair that looked like an alpaca sweater. Oh, boy. Attractive. Foot up on the dash, kind of like where the air conditioning blows. Got it. And just sitting there, hair. One of the hairiest men. Yes. He looked like Artie from the Howard Stern show. Yes, he did, dude. And you know what? We saw a good, solid... Three quarters of his leg? Mm-hmm. There was no material. Have you seen my wiener? No, you wouldn't find it. This guy was so hairy. He was so hairy. And so I go, I said to Woods, I go, is he naked? And Woods goes, oh, yeah. And I said, dude, no way. He can't be naked. And so Woods start, you know, I said, let's start walking. So we walk in front of his, like, trailblazer or whatever it was. Yeah. And Woods is like, Okay, man, I'll see you later. And Woods turns and walks away, and I try to, because I've got shades on. And so I'm trying to look in there, and all I see is skin. That's it? That's all I see is skin. I do not see shorts. Now, maybe dude was wearing shorts. All I'm telling you is, I was peering.
I was like Jay. I was a voyeur. I was trying as hard as I could to take a look at this man and try to see what was doing. And all I'm telling you is I saw skin and hair. That's it. And a lot of it. A lot of it. You should have walked up and asked him directions. I was just going to say, I thought about it for a second, but what if he grabbed me by the head and pulled me in his car or something? I don't want any part of it. It was... It was one of the most uncomfortable things. And this is what really hit me and struck me. I thought, how do you get to a level of comfort to do this? Because clearly, this is not time number one. If you have your left foot up on the vent, this ain't your first rodeo. Shoes? Did he have shoes on? No. No shoes. Yeah, I'm telling you. It was the creepiest thing ever. And he looked, he didn't look like a, he didn't look like a, like you would imagine a perv to look. Right. He looked like a, just a, he looked like a middle-aged dude. Like, what would you say? How old do you think that guy was? 50? 48, 50? I was going to say a little younger. I bet he was, I'd put him between 45 and 50. That's a good call. But he looked like a normal.
Other than him being nude at a Chipotle parking lot at 12 o'clock in the afternoon. Other than that. You know what he looked like to me? A general contractor. Yes. He looked like a general contractor. Yes. You want to build a house? You call him home. A nude general contractor. But you're building a house. You're building your dream home. This guy comes to your house fully clothed in his trailblazer and sits down with you and works it out. Yeah. Let's say that you had a fetish for. General Contractors. And so you went to a porn website for General Contractors. He's this week's or this month's centerfold. Yeah, GCP. General Contractor Porn. Yeah, General Contractor Porn. Oh, you're into GCP? Me too. Me too. You down with GCP? You know me. No, you know me. You guys ate healthy, huh? Uh-oh. Have you read the calories that are in what you ate? No, I... And Woods, did... Were you eating a Snickers bar right off the show yesterday? Oh, my God. Oh. As with almonds, though, it's actually on my list of healthy snacks. A Snickers bar. Yeah, almonds. Almonds, one of the healthier snacks. Almonds are, but not in a Snickers. Just incredible. The Snickers almond is, if you're going to eat something out of the vending machine, is a good option. That's what my people told me. Yeah. You calling out SOB. You're a dead man. He, weren't you eating a Snickers bar before? I'm telling you that it has gotten to the point.
where I feel like there is a shark in the water. Yeah. And I'm terrified. Yeah. I'm terrified. And I feel like the bathing suit that I'm wearing is made out of a T-bone stain. And you have a chum helmet on. Yeah. Wearing a helmet made of chum. Yeah. And that when I'm in the water, any moment, oh, do you know how many calories are in that? A little old burrito? You said you wanted to eat healthy. Just trying to hip. Trying to hip you. You go inside the cage. Cage goes in the water. Jays in the water. Sharks in the water. Jays. J. Our shark. Our J. Farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies. I guess that works. Whatever, man. Kathy Callout over there. No doubt. By the way, this is the 4th of July, which always makes me think of Jaws.
It's the time of year that movie was supposed to take place. We went to the freaking beach today. I know. Really? You yell barracuda. Everybody says, huh? Why? You yell shark. We've got a panic on our hands on the 4th of July. Woods, if you do go to the beach, you're not going to be alone. Sienna? What are they saying about this weekend at the beach? Well, everyone is going to the beach. Thousands of San Diegans, people out of town that are now in San Diego. And there's going to be three times as many police officers roaming the beaches on their four-wheelers and walking around. More lifeguards than usual. So if you're going, go early because you're not going to find parking. Oh, wow. Well, yeah. And all the out-of-towners and all the people. I can't imagine going to the beach on the 4th of July. Oh, wait.
Yes, I can. Last year, that's what Rebecca wanted to do. And we did. That's what we're doing. You're going to the beach? Totally. We're going to bike to the beach, though. We're not going to have to worry about parking. You know why, Mac? We actually like our heart to beat past 50 beats per minute. Because we're not sedentary, Mac. You see, our body fluids don't just pool to our back from laying on the bed. Mac, you thrill me. Let me tell you something. Last night I wrote in my diary that's made of a stone tablet. Moses gave it to me. Dear Stone Diary, tomorrow Mikey will surely bring up the Fourth of July. And certainly he will have to bring up the beaches. I will point out that I will be there. Because I will ride my bike.
Mike will then probably make a point of making fun of me. Effectively falling into my trap just like a G.I. falling on bamboo sticks with doo-doo on the end of them. I can't wait. Signed, Jason R. Isbell. Jason. Not his name. Not. Not. James. It's James. I like to make the long version of J. Jason. Absolutely. Because it implies that he spells Jason with a D-Y. J-A-Y-S-O-N. I love it. Easy, Jason. Easy, Jason. Let's see. These are the texts that Jay gave to me. Oh, boy. Mikey, giraffes were created when Jay uppercut a horse. That's ridiculous. That's brilliant. Someone, Joe Daniel. A hard hit. This is what everybody does now, by the way. When they text in to 949mikey at gmail.com, 70% of texts are now about Jay. Yes. Mikey, what do you think of changing the Pledge of Allegiance to under Jay?
I feel that everyone can agree on praising him. That's M1 Browncoat. Yeah. And then finally, Jay Isbell, and that's been underlined, can play the violin with a piano. It's M1 Bookworm. Thanks, Bookworm. It's Jay playing me, applauding himself. Oh, boy. 570-194-9 is the number. This weekend is going to be a good weekend. Woods is going to see the movie Super 8. And that makes everything all right with me. Are you excited? Yeah. He's also going to be seeing the Lord of the Rings pretty soon. Am I? Yes, you are. You don't know that. I'm almost positive. You're going to be giving me $100 soon. We'll see. Woods put the outcome of the Casey Anthony trial into an envelope. Brilliant. When we come back, the story of the Jay. You ready, Jay?
Have you gone through the news trying to figure out what's going to be? Yeah. We'll see. I love this guy. Since the Duke sex scandal. More from The Mikey Show coming up. Be a part of the show. 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. This is The Mikey Show. You're welcome. On FM 94.9. Hey, spending your 4th of July weekend at the beach? It causes between 30 to 40 deaths in California each year. I make my own out of charcoal. Coffee filter. If you didn't hear us talk about the Casey Anthony trial earlier, there's one other thing we didn't talk about, which I thought was interesting. A spectator, because if you didn't know, they let people in that lineup outside the courthouse in Orlando come in. Only a certain amount of people. Well, one of them was watching the trial and gave the finger to one of the prosecutors as the defense rested yesterday. This guy's been thrown in jail for six days and fined $400 for giving the finger. I have no problem with it. And let me explain. Now, I watched the video. LOB sent me this incredible video, which, by the way, we should post that video on MikeyShow.com. But she sent this video to me, and on the page that the video that she sent, which was Casey Anthony, like, getting really angry, it was incredible. It's an incredible piece of video because you see this raging Casey Anthony for a second who then catches herself what she's doing and stops.
But they had all these different videos that you can watch about the trial. And one of them was the judge sentencing that 20-some-year-old person to the six days in jail. And they asked him, he holds up a sign. The judge holds up a sign. He goes, did you see this sign? And the sign says, don't make any, you know, noises. Don't make any gestures. Don't do any blah, blah, blah. And the guy says, yes, I did. And he says, and did the bailiff? reiterate those things to you before you came into the courtroom and the kid said yes he did and so the guy knew a hundred percent what the rules were and had zero respect for the court and decided to do what he did okay fine but guess what if you do it you're a clown and you're gonna get busted for it and so if it would have been a month that they had thrown him in jail what kind of a clown does it take to have Two different things to say, you can't do this. And then you go in there and you have such little respect that you're like, I don't care. I'm going to do it anyway. What's going on in sports? Well, if you didn't hear earlier, it is official. The NBA is now locked out. And Commissioner David Stern spoke yesterday about this situation. Our arenas will be closed to the players. Our practice facilities will be closed. There will be an entire set of rules out there. And that's where we go.
But there will be collateral damage. Yeah, two major sports. Two of the big four are locked out right now. So that's just perfect. And also there is a report from Terrell Owens' baby mama, Melanie Paige-Smith. She has filed papers against T.O. for child support. He has refused. What is what? What's that noise? What is that noise? It's me. What are you doing? I'm making homemade ice cream. Oh. Fourth of July. Is it loud? Is it loud? What do you mean, Fourth of July? You make homemade ice cream every Fourth of July, so I thought I'd make you guys some homemade ice cream. You make homemade ice cream on the Fourth of July? Yeah. That's cool. That's nice. How long have you done that? We always, I mean, we make it all the time, but. Fourth of July is like, since I was a little kid, we always made, back when you had to have a crank, you sat on it, you'd sit on it, and somebody else would spin the crank. Now you're just being perverted. That's just not right. You guys don't make homemade ice cream? Well, no. You're...
Our specific tradition is not necessarily our specific tradition. We used to, in my family. There you go. What? Fourth of July, slip and slide. Yeah. And the homemade ice cream, the big apple pie. There was slip and stay when I played, but it was different. Oh, that hoe is big. All right. I made the joke, right? Seriously? I already kind of made the joke. Super duper fly hoe. All right. So. Making ice cream was a tradition, a Fourth of July tradition? Yeah, I always make ice cream. Have you ever heard of that, Sienna? I've heard of hot dogs and watermelon and corn on the cob. And apple pie and ice cream. LLB? We churned butter in my house. Yeah, yeah. Kind of what we did. Yeah, it was like a...
Yeah, us too. You know, catfish? That's not a Fourth of July thing for you guys? Sushi? You guys don't eat that? Yeah, you guys don't do soy sauce? Well, Mikey, you probably did like tortillas. Right, right. Isn't it like a tradition for you Fourth of July to make tortillas? Homemade? Fajitas, enchiladas, tamales. You're making homemade ice cream right now? Yes, I am. What kind? Yes! It's going to be vanilla, but I also brought some chopped up strawberries too. Ooh! I love you, Jay, as well. Yeah, it's nice since I'm not going to see you guys for a couple days. Yeah, that is nice. Bad mamma jamma. Thank you. I'll move it out in the hallway, though. It's a little loud. A little bit. Wheel of Pain is coming up at 8 a.m. We will spin the Wheel of Pain, and either Woods or Jay will have to take the consequence of the Wheel of Pain. But, Sienna, tell me about the guy that was arrested in Italy. Well, police arrested the mafia boss of Corleone, which is the town in Sicily that was made famous by the Godfather. His name is Corleone. Woods was trying to teach me how to say his name. Catano Rina. Catano Rina. Catano Rina. He's 79. He was arrested with three other men on charges of extortion and criminal association. Rina is the brother of the former Cosa Nostra kingpin, Toto Rina. Yeah, Toto Rina.
That guy is in that book I'm reading, The Psychopath Test. Yeah. Check this out. Dude interviewed him. Toto. Crazy guy, you know, but just, you know, he's a mafia boss. And he goes to interview him at his mother's house where he lives in New York City in Queens. And he's got this really busy. This was years ago. Now he's in prison. Serving multiple life sentences. Yeah. But at the time he went to visit him, he was living at his mother's house and sentenced to not leave Queens. He could not leave Queens. And so he goes to interview him at his mother's house. Okay. And he's interviewing him, the guy that wrote the psychopath test. And he says that he says, I want to show you something. And the guy's like, okay. So they walk out of the building. They're walking through the neighborhood. They go down an alley. They go up the stairway. They go into another apartment building, into an apartment that Tororina owns. And the only thing that was in there were little toys from little figurine toys from Burger King. Little figurine toys from Burger King. And the guy that wrote the book is British.
John Ronson. He's like, oh, what is it? And he's like, aren't they beautiful? I like the craftsmanship. And when he realized that John Ronson, the author of the book, wasn't that interested, he seemed very embarrassed and nervous, and so they left. And I was like, oh my, the guy had an apartment that he got and rented for little figurines. It's normal. It's so weird. Beyond weird. Why is that weird? Yeah, what's so weird about that? I've known it. This is Story of the J. Oh, really? It's straight from news of the day. Yes, it is. Every voice is weirder than the last. Sounds kind of like a Muppet when it's high. So this happened in Corleone, Italy. And we actually have one of the people that's originally from Corleone. Yeah, what do you want for me? You want...
You want figurines? I'll knock on my door. I'll show you where they are. You're Italian, right? Hey, I'm Italian. Straight from Italy? Straight from Italy. And what did you... Now, you deny that you're a mobster, right? Depends when you catch me. I like a spicy meatball. I got figurines in my apartment. Is that apartment in Dublin? Hey! What do you want from me? Is it a new deli? India. Hey, you show me some respect or I cut off a horse's head and put it in your bed. Thank you. Thank you so much. You're so welcome. Thank you, Meatball. I mean, Mikey. Got it. Oh, my God. Oh, Jason. Oh, man. Dynamite. C-Mail says, hey, Mikey, you guys have any advice for me? There's a guy at the end of every weekly staff meeting that asks questions that makes the meeting go 30 minutes longer. How do I get him to stop? M1 Juice. You can't get him to stop. You punch him in the face. Well, you could do what Woods will sometimes do when he wants a meeting to end. Somebody will finish a sentence and Woods will go, hey, thanks, man. Cool.
Stand up. It's the most uncomfortable thing ever, and the person is not done. Woods will tighten his backpack straps, and that means it's time to go. That means we're done. We are done. You do. I do. And sometimes people, if they don't necessarily have the highest social IQ, they won't recognize it. There he goes, cinching up that backpack. Ready to go. A lot of times people don't really get it, though. Then I'll let it out maybe a little bit if he keeps talking, and then I'll give it another. Okay. Come on. It's time to go. Let's roll out. Woods looks like he's ready to jump out of an airplane. Yes. His little backpack on. Yes. 570-1949. You have a person where you work, and you've got to go out to the staff meeting, but they... They like to go for it. They're the question asker. And the questions that they usually ask are so mundane. Yes. And they've really already been answered. Yes. By the guy that's giving the meeting. And it's just, it's a reiteration bit. Wrap up the meeting and ask if anybody has, well, and it's always presented like this. So unless anybody has any questions, which is the part that kills me. Right. Because the boss makes it clear. We're done. We're done. It's over.
That was painless, right? Yeah. We didn't meet that long. Right. The numbers have come in. And, you know, I just want to congratulate everybody again on a great, great month. You guys knocked it out of the park. And, you know, today is actually we got a holiday Monday. I want everybody to be able to get their work done and clear out of here today. So if there's not any questions, we'll go ahead and hit the phones and make it right. Yes, sir. Mike. I know you kind of covered this earlier. When you were talking about how we can do stuff online if we want to get all of our information online now for HR. But let's say that we are a quarterly staffer and we used to work quarterly. Now we're somebody that went from quarterly to working on a full-time basis, but we still have quarterly status. Well, the logic still applies. The protocol that I explained earlier still applies to quarterly. full-time employees, which I had also said earlier. So again, if there's no question... Well, here's the thing that I was wondering about, though. Is it possible for, and I don't know who it would be, but can somebody send out a deal? Like, I know you mentioned the website, but probably most of us forgot it. And so is there somebody that can put together some sort of thing?
That will tell us where the website is. Get an email sent to us. Well, there was an email already. If you look in your company email. I didn't get it. I didn't get it. Everybody that's on the staff list. Even quarterly people got this email. I got it. Everybody else get it? Just check your email again. Just resend it because I didn't get it. I'm just saying I didn't get it. I'll forward it to you. Will you do that for me? So again, guys, it's 4th of July. And that's what I wanted to ask too. That was the other thing I wanted to ask about. Since it's 4th of July, if we were a quarterly staffer, how do we make sure that that's reflected in the HR thing? Because it is. I know, but before... It wasn't before, now it is. But that was the protocol. But the protocol has changed. I had just told you guys that the protocol has changed. Okay. And like I said, I'll reiterate it one more time. Quarterly, full time, monthly, it doesn't matter anymore. The protocol has changed. So everybody's on the same page now. Everybody is happy. They got their butts off their chairs. Their butts are off their chairs. They're cleaning up trash. They're cleaning up trash. They're putting away Cokes back. People are taking stuff out. I'm like.
Hey, just one more thing. Can I ask one more thing? If we are interested in 401k deductions that you talked about, Is that covered on that same website? Yeah, I'm the sales manager. So what you'll want to do is you'll want to reach out to Michelle in HR. And she'll be able to walk you through any 401k stuff that you'll need. Are we cool with 401k stuff applying as a full-time employee now with that holiday thing that you talked about? Quarterly, holiday. Yeah, it doesn't matter. Michelle's got all the details on the 401k. So if that's the last deal, we're running out of time. We're going to be cutting out here. I don't mean to beleaguer it. And I know that everybody. Don't you mean to beleaguer it? Seriously, I don't mean to beleaguer it. And I know that everybody wants to go. And I do, too. Do you? I do. I want to go. But the thing is, is that last time I went on there, which was just a couple of days ago, it wasn't reflected. That's why I called this meeting today is to let you know that quarterly, monthly, the protocol has changed. Shut up. Shut up.
Stop. Move forward. Does anybody have that guy? What a beating. Anybody have that guy or girl? Yeah. We've all seen it. Now, here is nightmare squared. When you have two. Oh, two that go back and forth with each other competing. Like, I've got a better question than that. Yep. It's unspoken. But there's always somebody else that's got their deal. So, fine. So, question guy's done. Right. But question girl's like... Oh, really? You think you're such a smart... You think you're so smart? I've got one. I'm going to get you. So, I understand that 4th of July is on a Monday this year, so we can...
will we access that floating holiday? That's a good question. That's a good question. It's not a floating holiday because it's a national holiday. Things like that. Again, this is not my department. Tiffany brings up a good point because our 401k last year... It has nothing to do with 401k. It's a holiday. Is next year a leap year? Then I have a question about if 4th of July is on a Wednesday, would we just get that Wednesday off or would we get like... Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It makes sense for this year. I get it. What about next year? I don't know that that's a sleep year. Think about it. That is all of us, you guys. That concerns all of us, you guys. Not right now, it doesn't concern us. All of us, you guys. Well, it's Friday on a holiday weekend. That concerns all of us, you guys. Guys, we've got calls to make. Hey, by the way, Tiffany and Mike, I just, I saw your reports, and this is something that I wanted to do in this meeting. Both of you guys right now are at the bottom of the barrel, sales-wise. So I think, hey, in defense to me, at least.
Part of that has been because of a lot of miscommunication. You miscommunicating with the clients that you don't have? Well, no. I looked at your phone report yesterday. Do you know how many calls you made? Let me be clear. I made one. I made one call. How many hours were you here? I was here 12 hours yesterday. You made one freaking phone call. Yes, sir. How are you going to sell with one phone call? Do they have 15 friends? Part of the problem is, and Tiffany and I were talking about this, part of the problem is... For nine hours yesterday, obviously, you were talking about it. Part of the problem is the system that we have here. Well, it rolls into, I actually was going to ask about that, so the headpieces that we have. Thank you. Yeah, they, I mean, I've kind of like, I've gotten a little bit of a crick in the neck from those. So what are we going to do? I know we talked last quarterly meeting about maybe getting those like headsets where we can go. If you want to get it, you can expense it. Okay. So you'll have to buy it, but then you can expense it. No expense. Well, yeah, there's a, it's a $200 limit, but expense it. Just run it through. Take that to corporate and they'll push it through.
Are we still expensing on the 201 or are we supposed to go to the 202? You can go to the 202, but you got to put it through accounting. It has nothing to do with me. I need you two morons. I need you two morons to pick up the phone and stick to the script that was written for you. Will this affect? I know we talked about quarterly growth. You can't grow if you don't sell. We're doing expense versus profit. Quarterly growth now. is graded on a curve because of what happened in the last meeting. And that's what I wanted clarified today. Well, I remember, you know, we were all here for a general staff meeting where we talked about what the quarterly goal was. I never want to see you again. 5-7-0. I just want to make sure we're still in building expenses. You let me worry about that stuff. I need you to pick up the phone and sell. Okay, okay. When I was different. I might have pretended to make up different ways to kill myself in meetings like that. Yeah. And by when I was different, I mean that there may have been a meeting here at this building where I pretended that I was in a coffin with my arms crossed over my chest. That's a true statement. Now, and then went like I was opening it up. Now, the only reason for that, by the way.
Was because, you know, we get up at one o'clock in the morning, you know, and it was 1220 or whatever. Long day. Long day. But listen, it doesn't affect just us. You know what I want to do? I want to do Lauren's recap as soon as we come back. Yes. It's pulling away layers. Pulling away layers. Is it? Our very own Lauren O'Brien. This is one of those instances. She posted a tweet.
That said. Netflix knows me better than my boyfriend. Her boyfriend is. Her BFMC. And she says. Matt brought it up in a joking manner. And said you can't get mad. At social networking jokes. And she said oh yeah. And he brought up the time. That she cried. When he changed his profile picture on Facebook. As a. As a joke. Crazy. See, one time, she was giving him a hard time about not having his relationship status set for about... He didn't have his relationship status set. For about 30 seconds, he changed his picture to a cropped picture of him and an Asian girl that came to one of his shows. See, he plays music. It was just a random girl that came to one of his shows and...
Took a picture with him and he cropped it and he put it as his profile picture. That's a joke. You know, just be funny. He was kidding. And Lauren started crying. She gathered up her things and was going to leave his house. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And he had to stand in the doorway and talk her into staying. Blocking you? Yes. Blocking her. Yes. It sounds so much worse when you say it. Let me tell you. Knowing Lauren, I bet she was like, let me go. I'm leaving. Get out of my way. Could we do a reenactment? Oh, my God. Can I be Matt? Sure. Do you remember exactly how you did it? Oh, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Oh, we're going right to the doorway thing? I'm here. Do you want me on the mic or should I go over there? You're not leaving.
You're not leaving my house. Yes, I am. I'm serious. I was kidding. No, I don't want to spend any more time here. Why? Because I'm done. It's a joke. Yeah, it was really funny. You're the only one laughing. You're a comedian. Leave the jokes to me. He actually says that all the time. He does. You have a sense of humor, babe. I do like jokes that are funny. I love you. I'm not in love with this Asian woman. Aren't you? No. Then why would you put that picture? It was a joke. Oh, you want your friends to comment, oh, look at the hottie. Oh, my God. I was kidding. I swear. You know I love you. It was really funny. Are you really mad? You've now ruined the night. Hold on. Oh, my God. Are you doing a bit on me now? No, I'm mad. You're mad. I'm upset. You're about to cry. I already cried. I'm done crying, and now I want to leave. Is that what happened? Yeah. Oh, so you weren't even crying when he was in front of the door? At that point, I was just mad. I had already gotten the tears out. I started crying. Are you listening? What's that, Lauren? Are you listening? I'm sorry. Are you listening? I'm sorry. Are you listening? No, no, no, no, no. Are you listening? Yes, but I can't understand what you're trying to say. Are you listening? All right. She's not that bad, you guys. I see it. I get it.
It sounds way worse. I started crying and then he started laughing at me. Oh, that's worse. For crying. He was like, are you seriously crying? And I was like, sure. Yeah, I am. And it's not funny. And you're me. Now, how did he react to that? He was still, and he was like, oh, come on. You cannot pull that. See, now me, if it's me and the crying starts, that's when I go into. Oh, my gosh. I'm so sorry. Are you kidding? He was doing that as well. Well, if it hurts somebody to the point where they're crying. Well, wait, wait, wait. Hang on, Woodsy. Hang on. Hold on. Hang on. Here we go. Hang on. Hang on. Now, I got to say, I got to say, that doesn't happen very often. Now, if it was a regular deal, maybe I'd be desensitized if it was a regular thing. But in my world, that doesn't happen. So if it did, I'd be like, oh, my gosh. Can I show you what it would sound like at the Woods household? Oh, you jerk. You ready? Yeah. All right. Where are you going? I'm leaving. You're leaving? Why? Because you're a jerk. I'm a jerk because I made a joke? Yeah. But I work on a morning radio show. Oh, easy, Jason Priestley. Babe.
I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. I was doing a joke. I was making a joke. What were you trying to do? Why are you crying? What were you trying to do? Are you insane? Yeah, I'm insane. Yeah, lock me up. I'm insane. You're seriously leaving my house? Yeah, I'm done. Get the hell out of here. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. I've heard this. I've heard this a million times. Get your stuff. In my ears. And get the hell out of my house. That's me. That would go over well. Now, if you did that, if Matt did that, that would be a second breakdown, right? Like, if he said get out, storm out. No, I would leave furiously and then probably ignore several phone calls that better come in to apologize. And then maybe make out with a black guy. Maybe. Wow. In a retail. Or at least fabricate some story that I did. I would be so... I would go through the roof. I mean, through the roof. He wasn't really, I was expecting him to nudge a little bit more and feel bad about it, but it was just such a ridiculous thing that I was crying about. And it was like, I was, it was a Friday night, which you guys know. That's Ella B's bit is when she gets tired. At the end of the week, we, it was already like, I wanted pizza and I, it took forever to get the pizza because you wouldn't get off Facebook. And I was like, come on. Time of the month. Yeah. Yeah.
It was a number of factors. It was the pizza. I was tired. It was that time. And I was like, you better take that picture down. Quick, before someone comments. I just, I think, you know, here's the deal. I'm going to be honest with you. I think more marriages need a little danger in them. Now, I don't know fully what I mean there. I'm not suggesting that we need fights and drama. I'm not. But all I'm telling you is that sounds so fun. I'm just being honest with you. It sounds weird. No doubt about it. And there's people right now probably going, but it reminds me of those days. that there was a little danger in your relationship. You know what I mean? You're not sure of how things are going. Rebecca and I used to do this. Rebecca and I used to do this. Again, I'm not suggesting that couples that are married do this, per se. But what I will say is that I bet every man and woman listening right now that's married goes, there's some of that, hearing that, that's a little...
Funny and like, something about it I kind of miss. There's the girlfriend being irrational. Like your wife, Rebecca's not irrational. When we were dating, she would be a little irrational. I would be a lot irrational. And sometimes it was sort of, now it was unhealthy, but it was exciting a little bit. It's like swimming in dangerous waters. Swimming in dangerous waters. Where you're trying to get your girlfriend, you're like, babe. And there's something that feels good about her upset jealousy. Yes. There's something that's kind of like delicious about it. What do you think would happen if we took to the airwaves and asked all M1 men to change their profile picture to a picture of them? No. Gosh, Woods. What would happen? I would love it. No. No. It would be so bad. That's not nice. As a bit. Like Matt's bit. It was a bit.
Do you know what he changed it to after that and kept it up for weeks? What? A close-up picture of just my face. He's fantastic. That's fantastic. I made him take it down and he was like, okay, I'll put a new one and closed up. Like, grab a picture of just my smiling face. Fantastic. I like him so much more. And it made me cry even more. Oh, my gosh. And he couldn't stop laughing because he was like, come on, that's funny. Come on. That is funny. He was like, now everybody knows who my woman is. That guy is able to get her. He gets her. He gets her. In a relationship, though, you kind of know how to. I was laughing about 20 minutes later. That's fantastic. It is. And when Bill from Carlsbad. Yeah. Hey, how you doing? Good. You guys are freaking killing us. I'm on a commercial construction site. We stopped work doubled over with laps.
Hello, B. You are delicious. She's delicious. Dynamite. She's delicious. Now, and everybody that's listening, here's the thing. You've got to know as you're listening to this. This girl that's saying this, she's a good-looking blonde girl. You know, she's a good-looking blonde girl. A comedian. She's a stand-up comic. Was crying and saying, take that down. I don't know how you guys get feedback, but you guys are amazing. Thank you. You guys make the morning, man. Keep it up. Thank you. I want to hear about crying once a week. I know. You can hear plenty. It happens more than once a week. Thank you, bro. Matt should keep a journal of my tears. A tear journal. You know, I'm usually very good at expressing myself and communicating, but I know I'm not articulating this correctly. I don't know what I love so much about the story. I can't articulate it, but there's something about it that, as a guy, freaking great it is i think it's the control factor you've got her right where you want her i'm just speaking what's happening in my brain i know a lot of people are like that's not very healthy fine maybe it isn't all i'm saying is is that you know he kind of had her at that moment where she i wish he would call it i wish that my boyfriend mac commerce listened to our show so that he would call in right now because
He has admitted to me several times that, okay, sometimes it makes me sad. Most of the time it makes me sad. But sometimes you cry and just gets me. Gets him. It gets him. Yeah, it gets him. And it's so sick. It's so sick. Admittedly so. You're not relating to this, are you? No. I get mad. Yeah. I would be so furious at her. Furious. Beyond furious. Like, hurt, sadness, fear. I'd be hurt. I'd be sad that I was dating a crazy person. And I would be afraid that I was dating a crazy person. First of all, it's not crazy. It isn't. It's borderline. It is not even. It's not even in the same zip code as crazy. Thanks, Mike. It's not, though. Okay, crazy may not be the right word for it. She doesn't have testicles. She's got estrogen. I know. For now, at least. Woodsy. What? Oh, my God. She has estrogen for now. For now. Woodsy. Yes. Was your mom a crier? No. Okay, my mom was, has always been.
is currently and will always be a crier. And by that, I didn't feel like I told him in the right way. By that, what I mean is, is that if I say to her, and this has always been the way that it is, if I say to her, yeah, mom, if my mom says, hey, what'd you do yesterday? Oh, I was hanging out with Woods. He was kind of bummed out. How come? Oh. I guess his uncle passed away over the weekend. My mom would go, oh my God. Are you kidding? Yeah. Doesn't it make you mad? It makes my brother Steve mad. It would make me mad. It makes my brother Steve mad. If you go, is that you, Sienna? Yes. Like that easily? I cry whenever someone's sad. I get really sad. It really affects me. Here's the deal, though. Do you get sad?
When somebody isn't sad, but they're telling you about something that is sad, and they're clearly not sad. Like, I'll say, yeah, Mom, found out that there's a band that was touring. They're not going to tour anymore because they were in this terrible bus accident. Oh, my God. No. Where did that happen? Where? I would lose my mind. Yeah, flat out. Now, I will tell you this. Rebecca does not do this. And I am very... See, because that is different. You know, that's different. But I'm used to it. Now, there's probably some people that grew up with a crier, okay? And so when L.O.B. says that she does that and Matt says... And that dude that just called in says that he's loving it. there's this weird part of you that's like, oh yeah, my chick's crying because I changed my Facebook picture as a joke. I admit that it sounds very strange. Yeah, and for the record, I'm not calling L.O.B. crazy. I'm saying she had a crazy moment. No, she had a crazy moment. She's not crazy. She's a cool chick. She's one of the guys. She can, you know, whatever. But that little scene is bat-ass crazy.
Absolutely crazy. It is not crazy to me in my world. In fact, it's kind of funny. I can see how Matt, there's a fine line. It's like kind of cute. It's sort of adorable. At the same time, extraordinarily annoying. Really, what do I do with this situation? It's interesting. It's interesting. It's weird. It's a lot of different things, you know? I wish that Matt Commerce would call in. Text him or something. He's probably still sleeping. He was on the East Coast for 10 days and didn't sleep at all. So he said, I just want you to know that I'm going to take, I'm not going to set an alarm. I'm probably still going to be asleep. Because he's sleeping at my house right now. He's like, I'll probably still be asleep by the time you get home. Oh, really? This is the first time I've talked. I've been making ice cream. If you want any, you'll be nice to me. I love Jay. We better be nice. Keep it together. I wish that if you could have seen... I'm not going to talk the rest of the show. If you could have visually seen what went down without any words, it was like... And put it set to like... And then I grabbed my overnight bag and was shoving things back in. And he's blockading the door physically. He's holding his hand on the door. I'm sidestepping him. Were you grinning at all? Oh, no! There was no like... No, I'm leaving.
No, no, no. Because that would make me laugh. But if you were serious, like, hey, get your hands off me. I'm leaving. And I was exaggeratingly sniffling and wiping away tears as I gathered my things. I was like, no, I'm just going to. I don't even want to be here. Where is my phone? Hit the bricks, pal. Would have been my advice. Hit the bricks, pal. Listen. I'm going out tonight with my guys. Different strokes, different folks. I know. He thought it was hilarious. That's why you guys were made for each other. I guess so. Period. 570-1949. We're going to do the Wheel of Pain at 8, which means that it's coming up in just a second. M1 John is calling in, and that's a great Am I a Monster question. M1 John from San Diego. Are you there, John? Hi. Ask the question. Okay, well, I've got to set it up first. I live in an apartment. I've been there for almost a year now, and I keep getting mail for the people who used to live there.
And at the beginning, I was sending everything, you know, return to sender. You know, they don't live here anymore kind of stuff. And I finally got tired of it. So every now and then, you know, I'll throw away, like, credit card offers. But if it looks interesting, I'll just look, open it up, see what it is. Oh, my gosh. Last week, I opened up a 13-year-old girl's birthday card. And the bad part is there was $100 in it. But I can't return it once I've opened it. So I went ahead and kept it. Score. Oh, my gosh. We just call that a payday. Yeah. Oh, wow. I call it Jasper's College Fund. Yeah. I call it serendipitous. Yeah, I just looked at it as gas money for the times I'd been to the post office to return all the mail they'd gotten. Fair enough. Maybe it's me. I'd throw it away. I mean, I would never open it because there's zero interest in it. What? You just cost yourself $100, pal.
I probably would because I don't, like, I get somebody's mail, I'm like, oh, nuisance. Garbage, garbage, garbage. Oh, great. I have more garbage. Just stick it back in your mailbox and the post, the man will take it, the mailman. He's going to think you just didn't gather it up. No, if you put it in a certain way, like if I have mail sticking out of it, he knows to take it. You guys have a really cool relationship. You guys don't do that? I have a flag that goes up. I even put outgoing mail if I want to mail something, I stick it in my mailbox, he'll do this one. He deals with it. Say it. Yeah, what? Hey, John, thanks for the call. If people want to call in about that, 570-1949. Is he a monster? No. Well, if it doesn't have a return address on it. Yeah, it's his. What are you supposed to do? Right. Spend it. Yeah, I don't think he's a monster. What else can you do? I'd invest it in 100 penny stocks. When we come back. We'll take your calls. We'll also do Wheel of Pain. Get ready. With everything in this country tied up in the court systems, I think we need a little more of this. Mikey Show now. Shoot him a text. 949mikey at gmail.com. Call 570-1949. The I-15 southbound before Felicito Road is a diesel fuel spill, and more than likely, this fuel spill has been cleaned up. Hannah, what's going on in the news? Well, do you guys remember what happened with the former International Monetary Fund chief, Dominique Strauss-Kahn? He was in New York and a hotel maid said that he came after her. Yeah. Well, apparently there are some major holes in her credibility, the housekeepers. And this morning, prosecutors and defense lawyers are going to be in court and the judge may consider easing his bail conditions. He may get off on this. Are you serious? Due to the housekeeper having holes in her story. Oh my gosh. I know, crazy. Also, yesterday we talked about how Justin Timberlake has a minority stake in MySpace now. There are new owners, specific media, and apparently Justin Timberlake has said that he's going to turn it even more music-focused. Now, he says that we all need, people that love music, a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff, and that's what he wants to do with MySpace. Yeah, that's probably a good idea. I mean, that's what... When it was working towards the end, that's why music still works on Facebook. You can still do it. That's the thing is they're not going to offer anything that Facebook doesn't offer. I was watching Deftones videos yesterday on their Facebook page. Really? Yeah. Wow. Talking to fans. I mean, it's the same thing. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? Chad Ochocinco has a new bit. Guess what it is. Actually, it's not really a new bit. He just went along for a ride with NASCAR driver Jeff Burton yesterday.
Went 150 miles an hour with Burton in the car. He was strapped in next to him. Has said and expressed interest, though, in owning his own race team one day. Really? Wants a number 85 car and says, hey, I want to own it, don't want to drive it, because I'd, quote, lose every damn day. Also, there was an autopsy on Randy Macho Man Savage, the world-famous wrestler that passed away. And it has been determined that... His death was caused by heart disease. Oh, wow. So apparently he was driving and he was in a car accident, but he had a heart attack before. That's why he crashed the car and died. See, I had to deal with the roids. Yeah. Oh, yeah. He was a heavy, heavy steroid user. I mean, I think that a lot of those dudes, man, a lot of those dudes were using the roids. They die young. So I think that that could be a part of it for a lot of people. Plumeria is the word of the day when I say plumeria, which I have not yet. Caller number nine is going to win a four-pack to the Wave Waterpark and a four-pack to SeaWorld. And we're going to be doing Wheel of Pain in just a moment. But first, a white guy doing Jay-Z.
Jason Mraz and Eminem had a baby. He's playing those with his feet. Playing the tambourine with his feet. This is fun. I like to hear different things. Different versions. Blah, blah, blah. You know. I like it. I like to hear stuff in a different way. Now it's time for Wheel of Pain. Come on, NJ. Jay! I'm making ice cream, so. No, it's okay. You can come in. What are you talking about? You're going to win. I can't win this game. I cannot win. Here's the way we play Wheel of Pain. Sienna will keep track of the score. We're going to give them eight different bands. We'll go back and forth between Jay and Woods. We're going to give them eight different bands, and they have to try to figure out whether or not the band is a real band, or if I made the band's name up. All of these are unusual band names. Unknown bands.
And they have kind of a 50-50 chance, but they've got to figure out, is that not real? Might make that up. What's the deal? Whoever loses will have to spin the wheel of pain. I believe Jay starts first this time. Correct. All right, Jay. The band is Wine Soaked Teas. It's fake. It's correct. It is fake. He never misses. He's good at this. Is he? I've missed. Is he? Woods. What? Miracle wimp. It's true. It's real. Wow. I was hoping that was wrong. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm scared. Jay. Yes. Honey wants more. I'm going to say it's fake. It is fake. I made it up. Woods. Guns for wars. It's fake. Two for two. Oh, good today, Woods. Jay. Yes. Breakfast and Ted.
It's real. I made it up. Woods. Drag King. Real band name or fake band name? That's fake. It's real, Woods. You guys are tied. Tied. J. Fleminem. Mikey. It's fake. Made it up. That's funny. Woods. Yes. Straightjacket Lucy. Fake. It's a real band. J's in the lead. Are they tied? No. Chase beat. Because that's eight. That's eight. I win. Jay won. Good boy. Three to two. Woo, doggie. Again. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. That means that the wheel of pain will be spun. Woods, you got lucky the first time we spun the wheel of pain. It landed on get a massage. Yeah, got one of these. So we'll see what happens this time. We have a real wheel.
and I'm going to spin it. Yeah! What does it say? Is it a foot massage? No way. What does it say? We should do a shirtless today. I think we'll do a shirtless. A massage again? Yeah, we'll do a shirtless. How am I winning and losing? Is this thing, like, weighted? I don't know. Woods has been playing with it a lot. Yeah, right. I've never touched that thing. We're going to go shirtless today. Oh, my God. No, no. Get out of there. Oh, yeah. Does that hurt? Woods has his shirt off. This is ridiculous. Look at his mole. Don't pick at his mole. He's flicking it. He's flicking my mole. Jay is massaging him deep tissue. How has Woods lucked out? Lean forward a little bit more. Woods is the guy that always gets in the trouble but gets out of it. He steps in dog poo and it doesn't stick to his shoe. Imagine if I had spun that. Three shocks from the dog collar.
Give me a little of this. Put some pain in there, Jay. A little of that. Oh. Raise your elbows. That's so good. Unbelievable. Oh, that's so good. Mikey. That hurt. That hurt. Yes. I'm going to say something and I don't want you to freak out. Oh, wow. I'm just warning you. Way to go. No, no, no. Something's bad. He gets spun out and it's not bad. It's not bad. It's not bad. It's not bad. It's not bad. It's not bad. It's a surprise. I don't like surprises. He loves surprises. I know, but it's a good surprise. Does it have to do with the audience? No. It doesn't? It's Jay's surprise. He told me about it. I don't like it already. I don't like it. Since I do the show schedule, I'm just letting you know gently that it's a little surprise. I'm not going to like it. You will. It's fine. Are you sure? It's not as bad as you're thinking. It's going to be good. It's going to be funny. Keith Bell's on the phone. It's going to be funny. And he wants to tell you what a jerk you are. Yes.
Tried that. Jay's going to start his own show. No. He ended up breaking it to you. Oh my gosh. Live on the air. We all had a meeting this morning. It's just a little something to make everyone laugh. It's going to be funny, I think. Jay, you want to let him know what it is? I got hidden audio of you and Woods. From today? In here? This morning when I followed you guys into the bathroom. Because you always go in together? Yeah. It's on your page three in blue. He caught us in the DB. What's that? It's a double barrel. What's that? It's when you're side by side with your friend. And it's one stall here, one stall. Double barrel. I had to go. He had to go. That's disgusting. JJ, I can't play that if that's on there. No, you can't hear that. You can't hear that. No, it's good audio, but it's not that good audio. Dude, you can't play this. Hey, let's spin the wheel of pain instead. If you don't, if you don't, I will. Can I spin the wheel of pain? Can I spin the wheel of pain? I'll spin the wheel of pain. If you don't play it, I will. Let's spin the wheel of pain instead. Play it. Oh, please, no. Oh, my God. What is that? I don't want to play it. Please don't play it anymore. What is that? What's the singing lead, and Mikey's doing a chorus? On what? Silent lucidity. No, you're wrong.
You guys are weird Really Easy Pomerati. Oh, it hurts. Oh, for God's sake. It's a good slow. You guys are clowns. Oh, you jerk. He turned the lights off. He turned the lights off. Turn the light on. This bit. Oh, my. Weirdos. I don't like that. Jay. Jay.
That's mortifying. No, it's worse than that. What's worse than mortifying? I don't know, but if you felt my chest, it's sweat. And if you feel my stomach. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Why? That was a private moment between... A lot of reasons. I thought we did pretty good. How did you do that? I just brought the recorder in because I know you guys are going to be clowns because you always are. I didn't realize that was going to be a double barrel. What did you record that on? The saddest part is it's on your recorder. I have it. Is that the... What is that? The Tascam? It's a Morantz. The little Morantz. Son of a... It's yours. I owe him so many. No. Oh. I just owe him. We're even. We are not even. He just gave you a massage, baby. Yeah. He beat me and I won fair and square. I owe him. All I know is that there were... I'm really surprised there's not noises. Yeah, I know. Ew. I am too. That's disgusting. How do you guys sit next to each other and do that and then look each other in the face? He is a good friend and a lover. I didn't just say that. I didn't say that and Woods didn't say that. Those are two clips that were taken out of context and played back by Jay. He is a good friend and a lover. I didn't just say that. Woods didn't just say that. Those are clips.
Guys don't have hang-ups like girls. LLB, you guys have hang-ups. You know, two girls can't sit in a stall. I don't even like being in there with my own, let alone my best friends. There's not that. There wasn't that. There wasn't that. Yeah, really? Yeah, maybe if I was in there or he was in mine, but you know. It's... a room with closed doors and no windows. It's in there. It's inevitable. Maybe we're just really healthy men. Really? Healthy? Jay was in there. It sounds so good in there, the acoustics. Does it? Doesn't it? Is this normal? No. It is for us. It was 5 o'clock in the morning. Even weirder, what? We've been singing this song the last five days. I've listened to it no less than 60 times since we played it the other day on the air. Maybe we played it good. I'm embarrassed for you guys. I don't think my voice is as serious as Jeff Tate's is. Nothing can be as serious as Jeff Tate. Oh my god. It's pitch black. I hate it. It's in a cave.
He does that every single time. Every single time. You better finish up. And the deal is, is that the length of time for him to turn the light back on gets longer and longer and longer. Yep. I was so chubby, so chubby, so big. Lauren. I have an accordion folder at home. There's a little section for prescriptions. I just put them in there. Woods. I always overpack. Always. Sienna. I used to swim at children's pool when I was little. You know, PB&J on the beach had a good time. And Jay. I have a bong shelter. On FM 94.9. Summer has come and passed. We're talking about that. That is fantastic. Tonight's 8 o'clock album is The Call. Hear it. Word of the day is Plumeria. I haven't said it yet.
So when I do, caller number nine is going to get a four-pack of tickets to the Wave Water Park and a four-pack of tickets to SeaWorld. So Woods was just telling us, and how is this not in a recap? How did you not think to put this into a recap? Because this happened after I'd already written my recap. Really? Yeah. I wrote my recap pretty early yesterday. For me. Yeah. About six. Okay. And this happened at about nine. Nine o'clock. Yeah. Couldn't sleep. And you're watching television. Yes. Shutting the mother down, winding down, about to crash. And a TV commercial? Yes. What is it? It's for the ASPCA, which is a pet thing. Pet thing? That's not the version.
It's like an adoption thing for pets? Yeah, the ASPCA is an organization that I donate to. I give like 50 bucks a month and it's for, yeah, it's my thing. It's my deal. And it is for, to help with adoptions of pets and take care of pets that have been, you know, given up. Is this like one of those Sarah McLachlan commercials? Yeah, it's the exact same commercial, Sienna, but with a different song. Oh, I know those. And I hadn't seen it. Those get me. All I'm getting is the live version, but it's You Were Always On My Mind. Yeah, by Willie Nelson. And everything I'm trying to download from Willie Nelson is not... Let's go Willie Nelson. Dude, it's all this live one. Every one I'm playing is live. Same deal. It starts with... It starts with...
The words, sometimes there are some pets out there that will never know the meaning of love. Oh, gosh. And that song started playing. Oh, my God. And I laid in that bed. And I cried. And I cried. Oh, my God. I cried so hard. Woods is the guy's guy on the show. But when it comes to animals, the guy loses it. Oh, my God. And it shows a face. Sad little puppy faces. There was a terrier. It wasn't a Yorkshire terrier, but it was a terrier. And the eyes were real big. Done. I mean, crying like this. At first, like... Nice beaver. And then, as it went on... Those are long commercials. They're good, solid two minutes. It feels like 15, but I think it's a two-minute spot. Here's me. Completely breaking down. And then, like, a full-on... Like when he sings the... You were always on my... You were always on my mind. You were always on my mind. I was like that. So Jamie was in the other room. This is the commercial. Some animals will never know the feeling of love. They're showing a cat all by itself in a junkyard.
They only know pain and rejection. Now, a little Yorkshire Terrier. And now, a poor little white little doggie with a black patch on his head. They're victims of cruel and faultless owners. Oh, now it's a scared little kitty. Scared little kitty. Oh, now it's a sad-eyed old German shepherd. Woods just walked away. The person they depend on is the one they fear the most. That was Jay that pulled up. Animals who only know what it's like to be abused and neglected. They're alone and scared. And they need your help. Please call or go online right now and join the ASPCA with a monthly gift. Your support will save you. That would have infuriated me. Had I seen it.
Can I explain? Can I explain? It's emotional terrorism. Absolutely. Emotional terror. Sienna's got gigantic tears. Oh, my gosh. Sienna's crying. Sienna's crying. They make it all foggy and you just see their sweet faces. It's an emotional jihad. It's not fair. It's like emotionally they walk into it. Oh, my gosh. See? That's not fair. They're getting you in a cruel way. Oh, wow. What are you going to do? You give money. That's what I do every month. I'm going to. They pull it right out of my checking account. Well, they figured you guys out. Hey, listen. That's my thing. That's what gets me. And dude, I think that that's awesome, man. But I went out. Jamie was in the other room. And when I walked out, I think she probably thought something was, like I got a phone call. Because I had such big tears in my eyes. And there were all the dogs on the couch with her. And I picked up and hugged every single one of them. And told them how much that I loved them. You realize there are people that aren't eating.
Yeah, and I give money to those guys too, but I'm not talking to guys on the street. No, but see, hey, here's the thing though, Jay. Honestly, it's got to have your name on it. That's the deal. There are people in Darfur that are suffering, but that doesn't have my name on it. It doesn't have your name on it. This has your name on it. And dude, I'll tell you, I went out there, I wrapped my arms around Shooter. I said, I'm so sorry. Are you sure it was Shooter? Because you don't recognize Shooter anymore. Yes, I do. He's not a Yorkie. You guys shut it. Not even a lineup. I brought my arms around him and said, listen, I love you, and I'm sorry if I've ever neglected you. I did. What did he say? I told him. He licked me. He licked my face. I picked up Senior Beans, and I said, I'm so sorry that I left you yesterday, and you were sick. Thanks for checking on him and his status, by the way. Everybody. He's fine, everybody, by the way. Before we were able to go to lunch yesterday, Woods, well, and I don't blame you. Oh, but you went to lunch. You didn't rush home? Yeah. I did rush home. That's what he did. After lunch. Yes. After lunch. No, no. I went before we went to lunch. He went and we had a... Then we met. But you left him alone. Did you take him with you? He was fine when I got home. Thanks for asking, though. I'm sorry. I should have asked. He was good. I asked when you got there. Yes. Did you? Did you? I did because I was waiting. Yes, because he was waiting. Poppy. Beans. He's Senior Beans. Hi, Senior Beans. How are you feeling?
I'm feeling better, you know? I thought you were nauseous. I am, buddy, you know? Maybe a freaking Kathy call out. Why are you calling out my dog, L.O.B.? That's a little dramatic to your beans. Listen, I call you puppy because I want to have a talk with you. Okay. I've been talking to the other puppies here. Okay? Everybody? All of them. Okay. Savannah. Lockie. Lockie and Camila and Layla, the whites. Yes, the whites. Seven dogs. Yes. And we call him because we all had a talk, and we all think it's weird that you talk to us the way that you do. Out of fact. When you hug Tudor, and you crying on his face. Yes. And he kiss you. Uh-huh.
When you left the room, he said, that was weird, huh? I doubt it. And then he was like, yeah, that was kind of awkward then. He says, I don't know what to do. Because he'll cry on me when he see the commercial with Sarah McLachlan. So sweet. And the Willie Nelson. Thank you. It's not.
You carry on so much. I honestly couldn't love anything more than I love you guys. We love you, too. But we're concerned about you, Papi. Don't be concerned about me. This is very... It's almost as weird as the L.O.B. crying because her boyfriend changed his Facebook picture to an Asian girl. It's weirder. It's a little weirder. No, it's not as weird. Okay, Papi, same level, though. Same level. I'll give you that. Sometimes he scares us because we're sleepy. And you watch the Sarah McLachlan commercial. That's true. And then he picks up and he's not to kiss us and he's not sleepy. Yeah, I woke up your brother lucky last night. And you kiss it. Not too pleased. He kisses face so hard. And then he would tell him you love him. You almost drown him in your tears. That's a true statement. And then when you leave that room, he come up to me and go, and papi is here, man. I was sleeping. That's all I was doing. And he watching the TV and seeing the commercial and oh, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you. It got me. Okay, papi, I just wanted to tell you because we love you, but you know. I love you too. You want me to bring you something when I come home? What would you like? Bacon? Pork chops?
Now your tummy was a little upset, so I may not give you much. I have to make a pound for me my nails. I figured as much. And I ate them all. Where'd you find them? I found them where you hide them. Behind the toilet. That's true. And I ate the whole bag. Great. That's why you were sick yesterday. Yes, it's also why I crap all over the house. Oh, did you crap all over the house today? Yeah, you will find when you get home. Ah, perfect. You'll find it when you get home. Perfect. You'll bring bacon with you? I'll bring bacon. What time you get home? I love you. What time you get home? Oh, I'll be home about 10.30. Beans. Is that beans or Mikey? I can't tell. Decided about bacon. Plus, they have the same...
Mexican accent. Say build. Shorten. Oh. Shorten. Brown. Excuse me. Furry. Furry. I was going to say fur. I was going to say furry. He holds back on that. So shorten. Furry and brown. Shorten. Tell you what. That mic is such a piece of shit. Shut your mouth. Shut the front door. You are such an ass. Mikey, I made the switch from P1 to an M1, and the last few, that deserves some of that. Thank you very much.
He says, I made the switch from P1 to an M1 the last few weeks. I just have gotten tired of the other morning routine. The dynamics on your show are much funnier. I've missed you, Mikey. Side note, Queensryche was one of the first rock concerts I went to. And I think it was in the late 80s when my mom dragged me to their concert at the sports arena. This morning's version of Silent Lucidity in the restroom had me spitting my coffee all over my computer screen and took me back to that concert. Can you do Jet City Woman next time? LOL. Have a great holiday weekend. God bless. M1 Smashers in Oceanside. Tell your friends. Tell me the story about the letter that was written. There's a 60-year-old British mother-in-law, soon-to-be mother-in-law, who is not a fan of who her son selected to marry. 29-year-old Heidi Withers. And she... Heidi. Withers. Right, Withers. She made that very known because she had Heidi over at her house before the wedding and decided that her manners were lacking. So she was going to send Heidi, her soon-to-be daughter-in-law, an email letting her know what she really thought of her. The subject is your lack of manners. This is a real email. Yes. From Carolyn Bourne to Heidi Withers.
Here are a few examples of your lack of manners. When you're a guest in another's house, you do not declare that you will eat unless you are positively allergic to something. You do not remark that you do not have enough food. You do not start before everyone else. You do not take additional helpings without being invited. by your host. When a guest in another's house, you do not lie in bed until late morning in households that rise early. You fall in line with the house norms. You should never ever insult the family you're about to join at any time and most definitely not in public. I gather you passed this off as a joke, but the reaction
In the pub was one of shock, not laughter. Again, you regularly draw attention to yourself. Perhaps you should ask yourself why. No one gets married in a castle unless they own it. It is brash, celebrity-style behavior. Behavior spelled, by the way, B-E-H-A-V-I-O. You are... I understand your parents are unable to contribute very much towards the cost of your wedding. There's nothing wrong with that, except that convention is such that one might presume that they would have saved over the years for their daughter's marriage. Oh, my God. That was in parentheses, by the way. Oh, my God. If this is the case, it would be most ladylike and gracious to lower your sights and have a modest wedding as benefits both your income.
One could be accused of thinking that Heidi Withers must be patting herself on the back for having caught a most eligible young man. I pity Freddie. That's a real email. Yeah. That is a real email. Is this Heidi and Freddie on the... No. It says, yeah. Oh, it is? Oh, the picture. In happier days before the great mother-in-law email debacle. She's a beautiful girl. Yeah, when she got that email, the first thing she did was forward it to her friends in shock that her soon-to-be mother-in-law would say such things. And those friends sent it off and it's now on Yahoo, that email. It's gone everywhere. It's gone viral. Yeah. It is one of the craziest things that you would think you would ever write to somebody. Maybe you elope. Mother? Yes. It's Freddie. Yes, darling. Are you out of your freaking mind? Is this Freddie? It's your son, Freddie. How could you possibly be talking to me like this? Because I'm below you with a megaphone. Okay. Open the window, you dreadful... Sorry, it's in Victorian home. Are you out of your mind? What? What? What is the problem? I've got to live with her the rest of my life.
She's a terrible lass. I probably didn't need the megaphone, Mom. Was she a prostitute? She was not a prostitute. I met her at university. I met her at university. She came to the house and didn't wake up at 6am when the rest of us did. She was tired. What sort of a dirty trumpet? I'm sorry. Crumpet. I'm sorry. Frumpet? I don't know. None of the above. Who are you to say this to me? I'm your son. I'm marrying this bird. That girl's got more truck marks on her than the dudes from Trainspotting. You know it's your favorite film, isn't it? It is. That's why I'm wearing a Trainspotting T-shirt. Oh, we have news about that 16-year-old girl that dated, that married the guy from The Green Mile. Yeah, Percy. Well, it came into question, how old is she really? She don't look 16. Well, we have the answer and wait till we tell you how old she is. Sunshine has a temper sometimes, but he's not all bad. Mikey. Text him. He's a real beef castle. 949mikey at gmail.com. What? More of the Mikey Show coming up in minutes on FM 94.9.

Somebody's wearing Plumeria from Bath and Body Works. I don't know who, but somebody is. Or, there he is. There he is. He raised his hand. And it was that, or... Christ Beaver. Mike, that's kind of harsh. Yeah, a little bit. You know, sort of, ooh. That was Jay. That was Jay. Let's see. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Hello? Oh, wow. Oh, it's okay. This is pretty crazy. A Nigerian-born U.S. citizen was taken into custody after he flew across the country without a valid ticket. He actually got on board a Virgin America flight from New York to L.A., got on by flashing an expired boarding pass for a different flight.
With someone else's name on it. Gets on the plane. The only way they realized was a flight attendant noticed him sitting in an unassigned seat. Oh, wow. Questioned him, asked to see his boarding pass. Wasn't him, wasn't for that flight, had nothing to do with that flight. Holy cow. Yeah, so they actually kept him under surveillance for the rest of the flight. When he got to L.A., he was questioned by the FBI. They let him go because they figured he didn't pose a threat to anyone. But then he boarded another flight to Atlanta, at least tried to, and now he's in custody again, awaiting charges of being a stowaway. That's insane. Also, this is a really, really crazy story. Authorities found a body of a woman who died in Massachusetts in a public pool that went undetected. for days. Swimmers were swimming in the pool and didn't notice her. It's a safety hazard. They didn't notice until the body finally came up to float. Floated? That lady can hold her breath for a long time. It's just so disgusting. They had people come in and check out the pool and they said it was cloudy. The water was cloudy by health inspectors.
Yeah. It was 12 feet. That was the deepest point, and no one saw her. It wasn't a black bottom pool, nothing. You could make a whole horror movie out of that. I know. Just that. The whole movie could be based on that concept. This woman went to the pool with a nine-year-old little boy and his family. They live in the neighborhood with her. I guess she and the boy collided at some point. The boy was fine. Holy cow. Can you imagine? I know. I know. I know. I know. And didn't she have stuff sitting on the side, you know, or her towel and everything? Yeah, like, wasn't there anybody that's like, that stuff's just been sitting there? Was it a 24-hour pool? Yeah. You would think. But 24 of the other state pools have now been closed for investigation. Maybe clean the water. Well... Everybody's been swimming in a pool before. Sometimes you'll take a mouthful because you're swimming. Every once in a while, you get that chlorine kind of taste. You're doing bits with your friends. Look at me. I'm a fountain. This 36-year-old woman was discovered by some teenagers on Tuesday evening. She went to the pool on Sunday. Why didn't the 9-year-old tell anyone? Sunday. Monday.
All day Tuesday, no one noticed. Hey, good morning. This is the nine-year-old. Yeah, you collided with your family friend. Yeah, she took me to the pool, and that's it. That's it. You found her? I went swimming, and that's it. I didn't find her. You're nine, right? She was in the pool. You're nine? Yeah. You sound old for a nine-year-old. I'm from Boston. That's how we do. Yeah. What happened? You swam into her? Yeah, swam right into her. I was with my 12 brothers. What are their names? Maki, Ricky, Danny, Terry, Timmy, Tommy, Joey, Davey, Robbie, and Brian. I don't know. What are their names? Maki, Ricky, Danny, Terry, Timmy, Tommy, Davey, Joey, Robbie, and Brian. Okay. That's 12. Let me count. I'm lucky 13. I'll count them real fast. Go ahead. Maki, Ricky, Danny, Terry, Timmy, Tommy, Davey, Joey, Robbie, Johnny, and Brian. 12. It is 12. Not bad, kid. All right. Well, you're free to go. Thank you. Literally the first time I've ever gotten that 100% right. I'm one Michelle from San Diego. You there? Yes, I am. What was the word of the day? Plumeria. That's right. We made it up. Plumeria. What was the word of the day? You just got yourself four pack of tickets to the Wave Water Park and to SeaWorld. Hang on the line, okay? Thank you. Got a heck of an email for you. It says, Mikey, I met this girl through a friend of mine. We've been dating three months. I'm really starting to be into her. Here's the thing. I gotta miss... Damn it.
You silly sausage. Creeps. Creeps. Creeps is plural. You can't even say a word. Creeps is plural. Creeps implies more than one human named Jay. I didn't start laughing until I heard him go. And I knew it was coming. Oops. I almost feel like Jay is sitting on the edge of his seat just waiting for him. Say the word stick, Mike. Say stick. You shouldn't almost feel like that. You should feel like that. Mike, you say pipe. Please say pipe. Please say pipe. Please. Say cavernous. Say ho. Say ho. Talk about space. Talk about a black hole. Please do it. Please. It will be. It will be. So anyway, it says, we've been dating for three months, and here's the thing. I got a vasectomy two years ago because I know I don't want kids. I'm 36 years old, and I'm very content with my decision. We haven't talked about whether or not she wants kids or anything like that. But I'm just waiting for the bomb to drop. So should I be proactive and bring the subject up myself? Is it too early? Thanks, M1 Bullseye. No, it's not too early. And to not tell her, I think, is going to run the risk of her getting really upset at you. Hurt. Isn't it, in fact, too late rather than too early? Isn't it, in fact, about 75 days too late? Wait.
Wait. Wait. Oh, they've been dating for three months. Yeah. He's about 75 days late. Maybe 85 days late. That's not something you just say. First date. You can wear a sign. With a shirt. Not first date. First date. No, Woods. No way. That's scary. First date. Well, they're not having sex. Wait, wait. Woods, you're not being serious. I am being dead serious. You would go on a first date with a girl and how would you say it? B, L, B, and you. You're at dinner. How would this happen? How do you like your vegetable platter? It's good. Thank you for ordering it for me. You're welcome. I've got to have a second. Sorry? I had a vasectomy. Is that like some sort of French dish? No, it's not a French dish. They snipped my something, and I can't, I don't have, what's it called? Yeah, I'm his friend. Sorry, I was just walking by. I forgot my wallet. You were bringing it back to me. Hey, is this your wallet? Yeah. Yeah, this is a great place to come in for the strudel. I overheard him tell you that he had a vasectomy. Uh-huh. They cut his nuts, cut the vest efforts, and now he can't have kids. Yeah. So I can't have children. See you later, Brad. Hey, thanks for dropping that off. Good to see you. Thanks, Damone.
It's a little forward. Okay. That's just the way. You know me, I'm an open book. Yeah. I don't know you, actually. Well, true. You know him a lot better now, don't you? Yeah, I guess so. Thanks, friend. Great shot. Oh, ow. Right to the baby maker. Yeah, so I did get a vasectomy. So you want to just get the check? And go to my place? No. We're not going anywhere. I'm on the radio. Did I tell you that? Oh, wow. I did, actually, several times. Before you asked me out. Now, be serious. Be serious. I would. I would. Honestly. I'm trying to think back to all my first dates. They've been pretty in-depth conversations. For real. Totally. I'm a talker. I am, too, and I'm open. Yeah, you are, and I am, too. But there is no way I would think in any universe that a girl would think that... You know why? Okay. You do it with me. Okay. You're the girl. Again? Okay. You're the girl. Okay. Do you want kids? Yeah, someday. Really? Yeah. Can you do it with LLB? This makes me feel so creepy. It makes me feel so creepy. You do it with LLB. Which just makes it better. Yeah, someday. Yeah, someday. Can I be on the guy then? Can I ask Minnie about this? So, have you ever been married? Nope. Not me neither. Okay. So, what do you want? I'm going to have the chicken dish, actually. No, no, no. What do you want? What does the future hold for you?
You don't want to, like, find out if I have any brothers and sisters or, like, if I went to school. I know. You told me where you went to school. Yeah, cut to the tape. That's how I do it. I want a family. I want to get married someday. But I don't want to, you know, we don't need to. It's the first date. Will you marry me? No, seriously. I was just kidding. But obviously. It's kind of weird. I think that I should tell you. It's a weird thing. It's weird. Don't think I'm a lunatic. Right now, she's going to be a service. And he does. It's a weird deal. Okay. I actually have herpes. A vasectomy. Oh. Do you know what that is? Yeah, yeah, I do. So. Okay. I mean, I could reverse it if you want. Let's order dinner. I'll reverse it. You know what? Let me make a phone call. I'll get it reversed. What are you going to have? Let's order dinner first. Then we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I beg you to be completely honest. Not first date, right? I have done it. I have done it. I would do it. You really would? Yes. Oh, wow. I've told a girl I loved her on the first date, I would tell her I got a vasectomy. I'd tell a girl I loved her before I'd tell her on the first date I had a vasectomy. You're going to scare her so fast? So fast. It's going to scare her more than...
I think she might be willing to deal with your herpes more than she'd be able to deal with your vasectomy on the first day. For the record, I do not have herpes. No, I know you don't. I know you don't. I see that thing on your lip. I know you don't. But what I'm saying is, that's as strong as it gets. That's as strong as it gets. I would wait. How long? How long I would wait? I would wait. Third day? I would wait until I trapped her in love, and that would be... I'm just kidding. I'd have to feel it, though. Wouldn't you? You'd know the way to feel it. This guy emailing definitely needs to say something now. That's not what I mean. I mean, if you knew there was a connection, you may spring that on her. There's got to be a real strong connection, though. That's an assumption, don't you think? I would do it on the first date if kids came up the first date, and not from me. In fact, I would tell her as soon as... No, I can't wait until kids come up because that could be a while. Because she won't want to scare me. What if she says, I don't want kids? Perfect. Bingo. Perfect. I got a vasectomy. Let's go back to my place. I knew a guy that got a vasectomy before he got married. In fact, it was Woody. He did it on the air. He did it on the air. What? Yeah. Ouch. When I was at the other station, it was BC and Woody. He did it on the air. Now, here was the deal.
And everybody was like, dude, you are crazy. You're crazy. What are you thinking? He's like, listen, I know I don't want kids. I don't want kids. I don't want kids. And so we were like, but what if you get married and you change your mind? He goes, no, you don't understand. I don't want kids. I'm never going to want kids. So he got a vasectomy. Then he got married and he wanted kids. So he had it reversed. Now he's got beautiful kids. Hey, listen, this is all I'm going to tell you guys with a vasectomy thing. I was going to get a vasectomy. And Rebecca said, nah, I don't want you to. Which scares, I can't even tell you how bad it scares me. Well, she wants a girl. Right. It's not going to happen. You should have one girl. Did I tell you I called her bluff the other day? Did you? Yeah. I wish she was on the phone. I go, we were laying in bed and she said, she made some joke and I go, what if I said to you, okay.
Let's go spin the sperm so that we can have a little girl. Because that's how you can now spin. They do this process called spinning. And you can separate the girl sperms from the boy sperms. And I said, what if we did that? We go spin, guaranteed a girl. What would you say? And she goes. And I go. She deserves to have a little mini Rebecca. She really does. Yes. You want a little girl. You said earlier that you want a little girl. You would love a little girl, Mike. You already have a little Tommy Bahama little dress. A little dress. In the office. Who else would that be for? It'd be Tina Bahama. I don't wear a Tommy Bahama. Don't you? Tamara. Tamara Bahama. Tammy Bahama. Tammy Bahama. Why did I say Tina when I could have said Tammy? Son of a bitch. You got us to there, though. Fair enough. Tammy Bahama. Tammy. Tammy. So you can name her Tammy. Tammy. It's already all set. I bet you she's on board. No. I bet you Rebecca's on board. No, no. A little girl would melt your heart. No, I told her. I said, listen, the idea of having a girl scares me to death because I almost can't bear it upstairs, the thought of somebody hurting my little girl. Right.
And she goes, well, how do you bear the thought of somebody hurting your little boy? I said, there's something different about a little girl because like a boy, at least like a boy is physical and like fights and stuff. Like girls are so defenseless. They're so little. They are not. Aren't they though? Some girls. Pink. Like if your daughter was pink, she could fight. Well, yeah. Pink could fart her way out of anything. For sure. But anyway, the vasectomy thing. This is what I'll tell you that I know about vasectomies. If you get a vasectomy, it hurts. And you got to put peas on it. Okay? You put frozen peas on it. But what I've heard is, is that the reversal hurts way more. Yeah. Seven grand. It really hurts. Seven thousand? Did you do it, Jay? No. Kim looked into it at one point. Did it myself. Yeah, I did it. I was going to pay the seven, but I was like, I could do it for free. How would I pay someone for something I can do myself? That's right. I got an X-Acto knife and a stick of butter. I was going to stick of butter. Put some Neosporin on it. And by Neosporin, I mean tree sap. M1HB from Arby, you there? Yes, I am. What were you calling to say? My fiance, Matt, as you guys all know, we had this discussion within a week of meeting him. Yeah. You did? Yeah.
Oh, yeah, because I wanted him to know I do not want kids. I wanted him to know before we ever got into anything. Now, did he want kids? He doesn't care. He said he didn't care either way. He said, that's fine with me. I said, all right, then we can move forward with pursuing a relationship. But I didn't want to even get in a relationship if he wanted kids because I was not going to change my mind. Had you already had a relationship? with him before you... No, I literally had... He means relations. He means sexual intercourse. Wait, wait, wait. Did you do it before? Objection. Objection, Your Honor. Relevancy? None. Just because I want to know if they were intimate before they had the conversation. Your Honor, I don't think that it's necessary that just because the prosecution wants to know if they had sex... I want to know what she was wearing. That is relevant. Objection overruled. Answer the question. Answer the question. We met on Super Bowl Sunday. We had not had any type of relations yet. And we had a discussion about it. Sounds like a nice little Sunday. Weird. Yeah, I put it out there because I knew. So what was the date that you actually met? So how long after that conversation? And what was the last? 20 minutes. 20 minutes. And hush your mouth when you tell me. Hush your mouth. I mean whisper. You're bad. You're bad. You're a bad little girl. HB.
HB. HB from RB, you're bad. Now let's pretend just for a minute. Just a minute. My name's Matt. Now my finger's on your lips. Let's go with it. Now HB, I'm going to pretend I'm Matt. And you're going to pretend you don't want babies. And I'm going to try to convince you with no words. Wiener time. Thank you, HB. His question had no relevancy. It was like, do you like ice cream? Yeah. Hey, so, wait a minute. So... So... You didn't want kids, right? Yes. And he didn't care, right? Okay, so then when did you guys see each other naked for the first time? Do you have any pictures of said encounter? She's like...
Well, she answers before she even thinks about it. 570-1949. When should you tell somebody something like that? For that guy? Tonight. Yeah. He can't wait. He's 36. They've been dating for three months. She's going to be blindsided. Well, yeah, if she wants kids, it's pretty... And I bet you anything he knows. Well, here's what I would say, Bullseye. If you want... If you like this girl enough to have kids, then tell her and tell her that you're willing to get a reversal. It's going to hurt, Bullseye. It's going to hurt real good. I've talked to so many different dudes about vasectomies and about whether they hurt or not. Jay had one. Nothing. Yeah, well, you know, nothing hurts me. I got shot one time, too. You want to talk about that? Yeah, man. Got shot right in the butt. Didn't hurt. Barely knew. Thought it was a bee sting. Thought it was a BB. Yeah. Well, it wasn't a BB. This was Civil War. I thought I sat in gum, but it's just a bullet. Turned out it was a bullet. I didn't even know for three years. That was at Abe Lincoln's birth. 570-194-9 is the number. And on the line is M1 Baby Shaker from Camp Pendleton. What's going on? Good, dude. I'm thinking, you know, that should be...
The topic of conversation right before the first little sexual encounter. That's a weird time because... Yeah, that's a buzzkill. That's very... It's really kind of an aphrodisiac. Yeah. Really turns a lady on. No. I'd be loving me some black women. Now... That would make them feel better when they know that certain things can't happen, right? You know what I'm saying? So that means they can go... Well, the thing is, though... I mean, you're really going to say that right then? That seems like a... Because the purpose of that probably wouldn't be to make a baby at that point, you know? Wait, wait, wait. Keep your bra on. I have something to tell you. Yeah, before you take your bra off. Hey, baby. She's just making me horny. Yeah, and tell her to keep her socks on, too. Well, I can actually kind of see his point, because what if she was like, do you have protection? He's like, no, don't worry about it. I've got a vasectomy. She's like, I'm kind of worried about AIDS. Yeah. Maybe we have a different thing we're thinking about here. Maybe we're not on the same page. You're talking about AIDS. I'm really not in the mood anymore. You want to get some ice cream? Yeah, let's just get some ice cream. Maybe just take it to the house. Watch Twilight. I would tell somebody that I like Twilight before I tell them about the vasectomy. Well, girls like Twilight. Wait. I'm not supposed to play that. Weird. I'm getting used to a new system, Woods. I know. It's going to take me a while.

Big weekend for BMW Encinitas because it's the 4th of July weekend and they're bringing back their demo sales drive. Now, this is what it is. We're talking about pre-owned service loaners. I've driven them before. They are immaculate and spotless, and they look like a brand new vehicle. And right now, you can get into a 2011 BMW 328i, and you can lease it for $199 a month plus tax. Ask yourself how much you're paying right now for whatever it is you're driving, and ask yourself, would I rather be in a 328? And by the way, that still comes with BMW's four-year, 50,000-mile limited warranty and maintenance, which is amazing.
Now, I've driven over that with my Beamer, but while I had it under that, I used it. It was awesome. You'd love it. It's only at BMW Encinitas. Encinitas Boulevard between the 5 and El Camino Real. It's actually a pretty good idea. I thought... Wait, wait, wait. Woods. Yes. Weren't you expecting play outside in the hose? Like, honestly, that's what I was expecting. So that idea...
It's actually not bad. If you came to my home and you saw me walking around spraying myself with a spray bottle, you'd be like, I need to get him help. He needs help. First of all, when it gets warmer, you'll never see me at your house because you don't have air conditioning. I live in a greenhouse, in fact. Yes. You can grow plants inside your home under fluorescent lights. True story. Because it's like Miami in the middle of summertime in there. It's the worst. Yeah. There's no air conditioning. You're crazy. Just open the windows. I do. Get a fan. They're open. I have two fans blowing on me at the same time. There's a lot of you. One for the upper half, one for the lower. What'd you get, like a DC tennis? They actually say you can... Instead of water, put green tea in it and the antioxidants help keep your skin clear. This is wonderful. That's dumb. That one's dumb. Really? I'm not going to spray green tea on myself from the fridge. What if I got it ready for you? It's sticky. I don't think it is sticky. It's not. It's not. It isn't. No sugar. That's so strange. It's in a lot of face lotions. If we're spraying ourselves with green tea, maybe we take a look at ourselves. It's a mister.
Another way to keep yourself cool without air conditioning is hold an ice cube on your pulse points, which is put it in a washcloth first, then hold it on the inside of your wrist or near the middle of your neck where you can feel your pulse. Woods. What? Okay. I know that sounds ridiculous. But think about it. Your blood is coursing through your veins. You are now putting a little air conditioner on that vein that is coursing ice water, you know, ice chilled blood. You've now chilled your blood. Blood. Another thing is put a cold washcloth on your neck. And if you're really hot, you can put it in the freezer just for a few minutes. Otherwise, it will freeze to your freezer. That's what I was thinking. See, I'm in on that. I've done all of these. They're all great. I just buy an air conditioner. Soak your feet in cold water. Now it's getting... Put an ice cube in your mouth. This last one is my favorite. Oh, man. I'm going to throw something like that. Wear a wet bandana. Mikey, crips or blood? Yeah, can you imagine that? Hey, is your bandana wet? First of all, why are you wearing a bandana?
Second of all, why is it soaking wet? If you don't want to look like Bret Michaels, it works just as well if you tie it around your neck. So then you look like Rusty the Labrador with a bandana tied around your neck. You might as well have a little barrel, too. Rusty! You're running up a hill. Those are your five ways to cool off without air conditioning. Terrible list. It's the worst list you've ever made up that you wrote. All right. Jay actually gave me that list. What are the new movies out this weekend? Monte Carlo. What is it? It has Selena Gomez, Leighton Neister. Here's the trailer. She's here. This is crazy. It's me, Cordelia. Mother's forcing me to go to some charity thing. You look just like her. Look, these guys are like twins. Excuse me, Miss Cut, as you're requested. Monte Git. Yep. And one that you guys may want to see is Larry Crown. It has Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Cedric the Entertainer. It's like the stupidest movie. Yep. You ready for your final? Well, we'll find out. I drew the order last night. And? You're last. Lucky me. Thank you, by the way. What did I do? This is like a high school play. He sounds like he's reading from the script. What did I do? Jay could play Larry Crown better than Tom Hanks. Thank you.
Kept our secret. I don't do many things well, but I can keep a secret. Gentlemen do. How come I see Julia Roberts in it? For whatever reason, it turns me off. Maybe because I think it's a chick flick. It's a bass mouth, maybe. Tom Hanks directed it. That's when I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it. Oh, wow. You're mean. You say that line a lot. That was really... I know. Really over the long face. Oh, wow. Wow, wow. She's pretty. Wow. Pretty woman. When I first got into radio, it was 1991, and I really liked Julia Roberts, had a crush on her, and I used to carry, to work, a little beige briefcase. And in the briefcase, I had a couple of scotch-taped photos of her. Wow. Holy cow. That's why you're turned off. That just happened. It was real. You really said that. You set that up at your house and said, I don't have a locker anymore because I'm not in high school, so I'm going to hang pictures of... Mom, where's the tape? Mom, where's the tape? Mom, are you done with that People magazine? Because I saw a couple pics in there. I really like to hang in my briefcase. Can I get your red book, too? What the hell? It's funny because it's true. Wow.
I lived at home. Probably asked my mom for her peep. You done reading that? Yes, honey. Can I have pictures of Julia Roberts? Yes, you can. Tape them in my briefcase. My little beige briefcase. Okay. How old was that girl? That looked 16 years old. She's the one that married 51-year-old Doug Hutchinson, who was Percy in the Green Mile. She really was 16 because E! Online found her birth certificate and posted it, and she doesn't turn 17 until August 29th. So they believe her, but they don't believe our president. That's right. Very interesting. That's right. I want a man's dinner. Sienna. My godparents don't have kids and they love to shop at Nordstrom. And Jay. I built a hang glider. What's a hang glider? Oh, a hang glider. Sorry. On FM 94.9. Let's make some noise. Live in July. Now, here's the thing. As long as we don't fill up the studio, anybody that comes, you're welcome to come back because we're going to be doing this the entire month of July. Every day that we do a broadcast and that we're live in here in the studio, we will have a live studio audience at 9 a.m. And so that means that you can be a repeat. It's basically what I did my senior year of high school. I used to go and be in a live studio audience of a radio show.
And so I'm just carrying on the tradition. Tonight's 8 o'clock album, The Cold. Garrett. Sonic Temple. Some of an office building's most annoying behavior. Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays. Go ahead, Sienna. Selling Girl Scout cookies and other kids' fundraisers in your office. Now, a million people just laughed because they're like, where did I do that? A lot of people do that. I love it. You do? I love cookies. Who doesn't like cookies? I think he's saying that because he was probably that guy. No. Hey, y'all, Jasper's selling stuff for his soccer team. Y'all buy us some candy bars. Especially your mic. Kicking in. My wife made some cookies and I'm selling them. You're kidding me. You don't want to buy cookies. No. Cookies. Girl Scouts. Okay, I guess. Yeah. All you have to do is say no.
It's pressure. No, you can't say no. You feel like a cheap D. They look at you and they're like, oh, excuse me. Girl Scout cookie season is a little rough because you just get it from everybody. At all angles. You walk into Vons. Work, Vons, your friends, your neighbors. The beach. Door to door. True story. These are the top five most annoying office behaviors. Smelling like cigarettes. What? What? Yeah. Stank. Another Woods. Messy work areas. What? Mikey. Mikey. Yes. Mikey's probably worse than Woods. You're worse than me. Yeah. I'm a messy area. It's not my fault. He's cleaning up right now. He started cleaning up. To my defense, I have the smallest work area of anybody on our program. And that is, there is no dispute. Well, because you do the least amount of work. There's no dispute. Look. I'm almost as wide as my work here. Listen, I would say that you and L.O.B. probably have equal. Look at all that room. She's got all that. I got nothing. But there's stuff over here. That's your stuff. No, not this. That's her printer. This. All that room. That's Mike's. I have nothing. That's Mike's area. Sienna, I don't know how to keep this area. You even have shelving in this thing. You just pile it on top. Here's my question, Sienna. Here's my question. It overflows into my area. There's poop spray here.
Let me ask you, Mike. Let me ask you. You've seen me try, right? Have you seen me at times try to straighten it up? Nope. I've seen Jay try. Jay straightens it up for you. Dude, I don't use Frank's Red Hot. There's a bottle of Frank's Red Hot sitting right there. I didn't even... That was mine. I don't know how it got there because I usually put it here. Tape. Not mine. Not mine. Don't use it. It's your tape dispenser. It's your tape dispenser. He bought that. It's aerodynamic and ergonomically correct, by the way. There's a script sitting there that a guy brought into the studio about three weeks ago that I haven't read. And it's probably going to sit there until March of 2012. You have another site over there, too, my friend. Mugs, pens, everywhere. What I usually do when I have something that I don't know what to do with is I go... Yes. I'll throw it on the other side. And I don't see it. I have a drawer at home. You open it up. Yeah, it's a drawer and you open it up and it's just junk. Jimmy Hoffa's in that drawer. Yeah, Jimmy Hoffa. What else? I wonder how many old burritos are stuffed down in there. Oh, gross. Another annoying office behavior is too many loud personal calls. Words. Really? It's words. Jay's ringer is really annoying. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Mikey will make personal calls in here. Yeah.
Yeah. I will. I do. Sienna does. When? I go outside. Are you kidding? Hey, dude. It's the kid. Hey, dude. It's the kid. What's going on? During commercial breaks. Hold on a second. What's up, bub? I hate all of you. Hey, dear. How's it going, dear? This is Wood from the Maki Show. Yeah. Did I reiterate? I'm on the Maki Show. A radio program. Yeah. Hey. How you doing? I need to make an appointment to come in there. Haircut. It says... Steven. Woods. You probably recognize it. Yeah, it's me, Woods. That Woods. You ever listen to the market show? That's me. I do sports. I'm the guy on there. I'm hilarious. Woods. You can call me the kid if you want. Woods of Woods on sports. They call me the number two. Woods of wisdom. Such BS. The most annoying one, the last one, is the number one sloppy grooming. Sloppy grooming? Yeah. Stinky, probably? Yeah, I don't think that's any of us. You don't find that in offices very often. I was so worried about it that I had Chris buy me some suave deodorant because I forgot to put deodorant on it. I do not want to be the stinky guy in here. It's a true story. He's got suave deodorant in here. And ketchup. What's the ketchup for? I like ketchup.
I don't think I've ever seen you use it. Oh, I use it all the time when I get Denny's. Hash browns. Yeah, hash browns. I know you. I see you. M1 Podcast from San Diego. What's going on? What's going on, guys? What up? Not too much. So, oh my God, it was so hilarious when you sent Woodsy through Burger King to get the Kobe beef hamburgers. I was cracking up, dude. No, that was about four months ago. Oh my gosh. Well, I heard something more recent. I understand that M1 Tim and M1 Veronica are going on some Mexico cruise. It's been all over the Facebook page. I saw that. Yeah, and I heard it from a couple of birds like M1 Rebecca Esparza and L.O.B. and Woobie and Liz. That's great. They're going to have so much fun. Congratulations to them. M1 Love Connection, is that what's going on? Yes, yes. It's called M Harmony. It's from Libby. M Harmony. M Harmony. Wow. Shouldn't you be posting Trilolo on our page? He loves it. He loves it. What are you doing on the phone? You're missing valuable posting Trilolo time. I love you. Love you, podcast. You know that. Take care, guys. Love him. He loves Trilolo. I mean, the guy loves it. I mean, I love it. He loves it.
He lives it. He posts it a lot. End of the show. On Friday, I give you my story. I tell you my testimony. My personal story about addiction. But more than addiction, it's also about insecurity. And that's the way I grew up. I grew up feeling really insecure. Grew up feeling very ugly. Grew up feeling very unwanted. A lot of people can relate to it. If it's you, if there's something in your life right now that makes you feel that way, and you can relate to it, I've been through the same thing. I remember times in my life where I felt so incredibly lonely, just really, really lonely. I had friends, I had family that loved me, and I still felt lonely. I heard someone say recently,
that you have to think about when you're in this place where you feel terrible, where you feel bad, where you're unhappy, where you're feeling or experiencing discomfort, and you think to yourself, if only this, then I would be happy. Well, whatever that thing is, that's what owns you. And over the course of my life, that has been alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine. porno, just about everything you can think of, relationships, everything. I've been addicted to anything that you can think of, including porn. And if there's somebody listening right now that feels like they have a problem with it, you can go to mikeyshow.com and at the top of the page, you click help and there are resources for it. There's something on there called accountability software that you can download and it will help you with that. I,
have been addicted to everything. I came to a point in my life, though, where I knew I was going to die. I knew I was going to die. That sounds dramatic, especially for a guy that was my age. But I was in very poor health. My esophagus was messed up because I drank so much. And I was having health problems. And my dad told me he wouldn't have a relationship with me if I continued to drink. And one night I was laying in bed and I gave my life to Jesus Christ. And he started to change me into a different person. And today I'm a different person than I was. Different person than I used to be. And the greatest thing about now is that I have hope. Never used to have hope. If there's anybody listening and that's where you are. And there's any part of what I've said that sounds attractive to you.
I go to a church that was voted one of the top 20 coolest churches in America, if that's what you're looking for. If not, it's okay. But it's northcoastchurch.com. And if you need resources for addiction, depression, eating disorders, porn addiction, go to mikeyshow.com, click on the word help, and at the top of the page, you can get help with it. At the end of the show, on Friday, I play a song that hopefully for you is got some words that are meaningful to you. This is a band called Red. It's called Not Alone. Have a great 4th of July weekend and be very safe. If you're going to be boozing it up, please have a designated driver and be safe. We'll see you again on Monday. The Mikey Show is out late.
