Don't forget, it's live in July, which means that if you want to be a part of our studio audience any day during the month of July, you can. You can even come back. It's easy to do. And all you do is go to MikeyShow.com, and you can come in here during the 9 o'clock hour, be a part of live in July. It's pretty cool. So we're back in here on a Monday, and it's overcast right now. And weather forecast I saw says... Overcast today and 70, but I don't believe it. I think it'll all clear up. We'll have a nice looking day. It's about as picture perfect as it gets this weekend. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 41. Had to think about it. And had a full house yesterday. I'll tell you all about that in a little bit.
He's a big player. The white v-neck is a big player. L.O.B., who was bitten by a bee this weekend. Why not bitten? Stung. Stung. By a bee. Has a elephantitis hand right now. Club hand. Club hand. Seal flipper. Yeah. Her boyfriend, Matt Commerce, told her, and I quote, you keep that thing away from me. He would sometimes sneak up on me. Which you've said to him at times before. Yeah, oddly enough. He would sneak up on me and then go, and run away. And run away. She texted us a picture. It's grotesque. Well, it was. It's not anymore. It's pretty grotesque. It's still overgrown. No doubt about it. Sienna is our news girl. She is 26 years of age. She's from La Jolla. Went to La Jolla High School. She's also a debutante, which means that she actually had to do like debutante school stuff. Like that to show you how to be a debutante. Oh, yeah. It's a real deal. She's the real McCoy. Jay is our executive producer. He also plays little sound clips. And you hear him do that. And he is 48 years old. Our phone screener today.
Is Chris. That's gross. Word of the day. Frisbee. When you hear me say that between now and 10, we still have tickets for you to go see L.A. Rising, Rage Against the Machine. Rise Against Ms. Lauren Hill at the L.A. Coliseum July 30th. So that's the prize. Hey, this is cool to tell you about. So, you know, we've been telling you that Jay and Woods are going to be on Wipeout. The TV show Wipeout. It's July 28th. It's a Thursday night. And we have secured Dave and Buster's for a viewing party. So all of us here on the show are going to be at Dave and Buster's Thursday, July 28th from 7 to 9. And we're going to be watching the wipeout that Woods and Jay are on. Woods is embarrassed of his wipeouts.
But I think that's going to be the coolest part. That's the coolest part. Yeah, for sure. Totally. Watching him wipe out. Totally. So I would come out there to check it out. This morning at 8 o'clock, I'll be reading Wood's report on Lord of the Rings. He came over to the house on Friday and watched it with my wife and I. And this morning at 8 o'clock, we'll read his book report. It's a movie report. His whole stance was, I hate fantasy. That may still be his stance. You'll have to wait until 8 o'clock to see if he still hates fantasy. Did you guys hear that there was a stun gun found on a JetBlue airplane? A stun gun.
Mm-hmm. You get a stun gun on board. That's a good question. And that's what authorities are investigating right now. But it was left behind in one of those back seat pockets. Yeah. A stun gun. It was found. It was a JetBlue flight from Boston on Friday. And it had a Stryker 1800 stun gun. Yeah. And it was found by the cleaning crews. Really? So I forgot my stun gun. I was drinking gin and tonic all day. I freaking forgot it. Good morning. I know. They're going through the plane and trying to find, you know, everyone that was on that plane, try to figure out whose it was. Hey, you know, I refused to do the x-ray in Phoenix. That's true. They wanted me to go through the x-ray. I didn't do it. And so they took me to the side and they called somebody over and they did the pat down. And they make it so that you will never refuse the x-ray again. Really? Put their hand right in my balls. My wife and I, for the record, both did the x-ray. Was it a team of people working on you? One guy. Just to cut down on time. Time is what I'm thinking. L.O.B. just gave me a look like, ooh, that's right. Her facial expression said, oh, yeah, Mike.
You should answer that one. That's a very legitimate question. Now I'm curious. Now I'm curious, Mike. Did they have two or three people that were working on your one body? A whole team. I got the side. I got this. I got the front. I got this, Hawk. Oh, my God. I only need one up front. It's a small area. Don't listen to a mic. It's hard, though. It's in my headphones. They're just joking. It's in my headphones. But I hear it. You can hear. And I speak English. How about this lady? This lady complained because she was in Seattle. And this happened. Yes, I went through security at SeaTac Airport last Thursday, June 30th. And I went through the security line.
I was asked to go through the full body x-ray imaging, and I've been through that multiple times, and I stepped out, and they informed me that they were going to have to inspect my hair. Why did they say that? Well, they didn't give me a reason at all. At the time, they just said that they needed to inspect it, and it wasn't until I questioned it that they... they gave me the policy of inspecting anything that poofs from the body. Well, if you can, can you turn sideways so we can see your hair? So they may have been implying that the bun was poofing. Is that what you're saying? Yes, they were saying that my hair was poofy and that they needed to inspect it for that reason. I mean, it's already uncomfortable enough going through a naked body imaging device. To the TSA's defense, she had a bun. She had a bun and it's poofy. And if you've ever seen the movie Casino, you know that people can put jewels in there, diamonds and stuff. Well, I'm sure you know, Sienna. And you can put stuff in there. Like you could put mace or you could put something in your bun. You could put an...
And then you can put your bun in the oven. Who knows? But you can't get all up in arms about that. I'm conditioned to be comfortable with being, you know, padded down. I've flown internationally and all over the United States in the last year. I don't need your resume and credentials. The fact that you have a bunch of stamps on your passport doesn't mean that they can't check you out. They're just trying to make sure you don't have anything in there. What if he had a pocket knife in there? I think it's funny that that's her line. What do you mean? She can get her body x-rayed. Yeah. But her hair. Hey, look. My hair is off limits. Yes. You could go anywhere else, but hey. You can scan me and look at my body nude. Because that's what that scan machine does. That's the reason that I didn't go through it is because I'm embarrassed of my body nude. The only person that can see it is my wife. And I'm embarrassed to even show her a lot of the times. And. And, you know, I don't want a couple of snigglers, you know, just niggling around. Here we are. I mean, why didn't I just do it in Phoenix? That would have been better than my two good friends, Jay and Woods, sniggling at me now. At least those would be strangers.
I've just kind of gotten used to it, and I don't question it. And your hair was like that when you walked through, right? What we're seeing right now is the way you had worn it. And what did you say to the TSA then, the TSA workers? I said, you know, for me, you know, my hair is my breaking point. I just cannot. Jay's right. Jay is right. Her hair is where she draws the line. Stand it because every day somebody has their hand in my hair or they're comparing it to Buckwheat or Aunt Jemima and it just gets exhausting. And so for me, I said, that's enough. I've had enough. This is my breaking point. It's the race card. It's a black lady. And she, for years, has had people call her hair Aunt Jemima and Buckwheat. And so when somebody wanted to examine her hair. It struck a nerve. Hey, I understand that. Last night, my wife said to me, my wife Rebecca says, what's the deal? What's the deal? With airplane food. She says, what's the deal with your trainer? Wendy, she's going to meet with me? I said, yeah, she's going to go over the types of foods that are best for my body type. You know, fat.
And my wife goes, okay. She says, but I just want to, I'm just wondering, am I going to spend an hour with her? And then like a week later, you say you don't like it because you don't like the way the food tastes. And instantly I felt like a 12-year-old being scolded by the school nurse because I wanted more than one king-size meal per day. And I said, hey, I go, look, look. Hurts, sadness, fear. Look. You don't, if you don't want to make the meal, you don't have, it's not what I'm saying. Why are you getting so upset? I'm not, well, yeah, maybe I'm a little upset because, you know, if you don't want to make the meal, then you don't have to. I'm not saying I don't want to make the meal. I'm just saying, why are you so defensive? Because it reminds me of being a kid, you know, when the nurse would say to me that I'm complaining about the king size meal and look at, but yet look at my weight, you know.
You had to call your mom in. Yeah, as a seventh grader, you know, I weighed as much as your average college senior. And so, you know, yeah, maybe it struck a nerve. Now, maybe for this woman, it struck a nerve with her that they wanted to examine what she terms her buckwheat hair. You know, her Aunt Jemima hair. She's sick of it. Perhaps when they said, hey, listen, we got to take a look at that bunch. In her head, she heard. Look at you, Aunt Jemima. Hair. Easy, Buckwheat. Easy, Buckwheat. And she was like, I'm not taking this. You're not doing this to me. That's right. You can look at my body naked. You can look at, you can examine my body in a machine that makes my clothes see-through. I draw the line. Well, that's not what I've heard my whole life. What I've heard my whole life is Aunt Jemima jokes. How many times I've been told that I look like I'm on a...
Like I'm on a syrup bottle. And I'm sick of it. All right? Seventh grade. Peter Wasserley. Easy at Jemima. Seeds are making me want it. That's enough. I am not going to deal with this. That's what we have a case of. Projection. Woods. Yes, sir. You can tell us. what the major stumbling blocks are now in the collective bargaining agreement. Hey, you guys getting tired of lockout talk yet? We're four months in to the lockout. And this is actually something that you can actually tell us. There's something here. The two major stumbling blocks between the owners and the players are rookie wages and free agency. So what they're wanting to do, obviously, is... They've got to tone down some of these rookie signing bonuses, these rookie salaries, because it's getting ridiculous. Sam Bradford last year, six years, $78 million. Yeah, I think the owners are right about that. Yeah, there's no question. Yes. And also, a lot of the money that's being diverted to veteran players in free agency, that's something that they want to talk about as well. It's just Friday is kind of a new deadline day. They want to have a handshake deal done by then.
And get these things done. So the lawyers are meeting today. The owners and players are back tomorrow. The 15th. So today is just lawyers. July 15th. Friday. July 15th. Yep. Another deadline. Yeah. Training camp scheduled to open in less than two weeks for some teams. Oh, boy. With this stuff. Yep. Oh, also, Mike, big news this weekend. Wait a minute. Let me give you the proper music for this. Okay. Because this is kind of a big one. U.S. women's soccer team beat Brazil 5-3 on penalty kicks. The front page? Yeah. Of what? UT and USA Today. Front page? Oh, yeah. First top picture. That's Abby Wambach there, Mike. She tied the score. Little angel over here is somebody else. Is that the bit? Huh? Is that the bit here now? We're supposed to act like we're into it? Yeah. I guess because they have USA on their deal, you got to be excited about it. Listen. The only thing...
that is less interesting to me than the actual World Cup is the Women's World Cup. Now, I understand that that upset eight or nine of you. And eight or nine of you are really, really mad right now. You're hurt by that statement. You're saddened by it. It means that that's just another stumbling block to you getting all World Cup coverage all the time. And you're fearful. You're fearful that there will not be more coverage of the World Cup. But the thing is, is that I just, and a lot of you, you're just not interested in the soccer. Woodsy calls it professional keep-away. True statement. I have the ball. You can't have it. No, no. Give it to me. No, I'm not going to give it to you. Give it to him. No. I'm going to kick it over there. Kick it back to me. Kick it back. Kick it back. He'll try to get it. Kick it back to me. I'll kick it over to her. Hey, try to kick it in the net. So what's football? Professional keep-away as well. Not even close. No. Football is a very violent collision every 60 seconds. Multiple violent collisions every 60 seconds. Heads crashing together. Big, big giant dudes. Big monsters. They're the modern day giants. Gladiators. Gladiators. And they're in there with blood and spit. And at the bottom of those piles, they're poking each other in the eyes. Spitting each other's faces. Spitting each other's faces.
I'd rather watch soccer. I know. Would you really? Most gals would. He would not. And that's not even true. He wouldn't rather watch soccer. He wouldn't. Of the two... BS. Of the two, I actually have sat through soccer games. I don't like to watch sports on TV, but of the two... If he's not playing, he doesn't. Yeah, if I'm not playing. If he's not playing, he's not interested, that's his bit. 570-194-9 is our number. Mikey Show, who am I speaking with? You are speaking with Ben. With Ben? M1 Ben, yeah. M1 Ben. What's going on, Ben? Well, they just recently just started talking about the women's soccer game. Yes, sir. And I'm a huge sports fan, never been a soccer fan. But what they're saying right now, they're talking about this game that just took place, and it was actually... You're on the air, by the way, Ben. You're on the air right now. Uh-oh. Yeah, I'm okay. Yeah, it's okay, though. It's all right. It's okay. Don't... Get freaked out now. So what's your point about this women's soccer? Well, I'm a huge football fan, mainly NBA. I follow all sports, let's just say. Okay, but tell me what your point is about this women's soccer. This was the best game I've ever seen in sports. You watched it. In sports. In sports. Out of all the Super Bowls and out of all of the World Series that you've ever seen, this was better. Yes, yes.
And I've recently watched my team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, win two Super Bowls. All right. Well, sell me on it. Tell me why. Well, I would say, hang on, I'm getting yelled at by the police. Oh, he's having him pull over to the left. Because he's on the phone. Let's hear this. Hey, keep the phone on your leg. It is on my leg right now, as we speak. Let's hear it. Be quiet. Let us hear it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Let us hear, Ben. Let us hear what the police officer says. Oh, okay. We'll be quiet. He was just telling me to merge to the left because there was an accident on that one. Oh, I thought you were getting pulled over. Thank goodness. Okay, I'm going to let you now, Ben, I'm going to let you talk me in to why this Women's World Cup was more exciting than any other sporting event you've ever seen. Go ahead. The referee was terrible. Exactly.
Oh, no. Is this Tom Tom? To Brazil. Yeah. Sold. That's what it would be like watching it. Was it? I watched it. Did you? I was in the room while my husband and his brother were watching it than watching it. Precision placement of the ball. It was a big deal. Shut up. It was a really big deal. Yeah. They went into overtime. It was wild. It's crazy. It was. Oh, my goodness. Marion Conti steals the ball. She passes it off to Sabrina Thompson. Sabrina Thompson kicks the ball over to Jennifer Spiel. Jennifer Spiel makes a kick, and it's in! It's the win! Will never be the same! I don't know. I got the ball, and I was like, I don't know how to do that, but I just ran. I was like, oh, my God. It was Sabrina Theron. Sabrina Theron. I looked at her, and I was like, Sabrina.
Why do you hate women's soccer? Because, come on. None of those girls would date you? Yes, yes. Well, I mean, what girl would? What sport could I have gotten them to? Maybe you'd just be happy for them. I am, but it's a bit like we're supposed to be into it. You're supposed to be in on it. I'm not going to be just because the world is right now. I'm fascist. I'm not into it. Are you still with us, Ben? Ben, what? Your phone is peeing up. What's wrong with it? I don't think...
Unbelievable. Aikman. Johnson. You anyway, all right? All right. Thank you. He understood. Oh, man, this was sad. Betty Ford passed away. 93 years old. I met her, God bless her. I met her when I was at the Betty Ford Center. Did she do intake there? Was that a... What's the matter with you people? I was joking. It didn't seem like a joke. I mean, I actually was in there. I know you were, but I didn't know she was standing at the door greeting people, taking your bags to you. I didn't say that Betty Ford admitted me to Betty. Hello, hello. Chair name, young man. 93 years old.

Hi, my name is Brandon. Some kid in a banana costume just tackled my mascot. There is a banana at large in Strongsville. Is your mascot okay? The kid just came up and like just speared him. Brandon Parham. Don't know why it's only in the left speaker, but it is. Is the manager of the wireless center on Pearl Road. Last week he witnessed their mascot, a gorilla, getting jumped. A kid just emerged out of the bushes, out of nowhere, in a banana costume. and started sprinting as quickly as he possibly could at our gorilla. Certainly an unappealing... Oh, you get it? An appeal. Oh, boy. Tack on the ape. It was also cowardly or yellow. It was a bushel of fun. In midair, flying like this, like something like a Spartan from 300, kind of, except he was a banana. Most people... are sick of this sort of monkeying around. After the attack, the banana then split. Sounds like a slippery situation. South on Pearl Road, and he wasn't alone. He just kept running with a few other kids, and the gorilla just got back up and adjusted his head and just kept waiting this time.
Put somebody down to check around south of your store for a kid dressed in a banana costume. The gorilla will recover. As for the wireless center, they think the whole situation is... Bizarre, I guess. Not normal of the food chain. I mean, that's not really how it works. Shut up. The gorilla should have won. This monkey business has to stop. I used that one. Dang it. Monkey business has been taken, my friend. He clearly wasn't in the ripe state of mind. The ripe state of mind. The winner. That was really strong. Quite strong. Very strong to quite strong. All I've been thinking for the last 30 seconds is, how do I say something with Chiquita? Chiquita. Wow. Let's see. I'm fascinated with L.O.B.'s bee sting. She got stung. on the right hand, in the knuckle, where? On my, like, thumb here, yeah. Palm. On my palm, under my thumb. And the fleshy part, underneath of her thumb. Yeah. B, for sure, not a wasp, eh? B. I took the stinger out. All right. Most of it. She says, I hurt like mad. Oh my gosh. You don't get that, you don't get an adult woman using that phrase very often anymore, that I hurt like mad. But L.O.B. says, it hurt like mad for two minutes and then the pain went away.
She thought that that would be the end of it until it swelled up and it got hot and itchy today. Yes. Now. Well, it started yesterday, the hot and itchy. Yep. She can't remember if that's what happens or if it's an allergic reaction of some sort. I don't think it's time for the EpiPen. No. I do not. However, in typical LOB fashion, do you think that she went to WebMD? Yes. Now, in my opinion, I believe that WebMD should be renamed terrifiedmd.com. That's what they do. They terrify you. Oh, I have a red mark on my arm. WebMD says I have AIDS. It's a lesion. It's a lesion and I've got AIDS. And I'm dying of it. I probably have a month to live. Maybe go to a doctor.
You know, my wife does exactly what LOB does. She likes to frighten herself. She's like, it's either some type of stage three cancer or it's just a natural reaction to a bee sting. But I think it's probably the stage three cancer. Even though, babe, it's in the same place you got stung by the bee. Yes, but I think because of what I just read, that that is not a bee sting. That's not what's supposed to happen. That is not what is supposed to happen. It's thumb cancer. It's thumb cancer. That's exactly what it is. I hope for the opposite. I hope that it says just put a little baking soda on it and quit your crying. Because I don't want to go to the doctor. What did your boyfriend Matt Commerce say about it? He said it looked like a club hand.
He said I should be an interrogator and smack people around with it. He said it looked like a seal flipper. He said I was the claw. Those are all great, by the way. He said, get away from me with that thing. He called me freak hand. Then he touched it and said I have a rare case of hot hand. I love it. And then he told me to take some Benadryl and go to bed. And the Benadryl didn't even work. She woke up this morning. She still had elephantitis of the hand. I went to the pharmacist and the pharmacist told me what to get. And then I was like, well, maybe I should. He's like, will you just listen to the pharmacist? For once. For once in your life. In your lifetime. She gets prescriptions from doctors and goes, I'm not taking this. Yeah. I'm not going to take this. Well, yeah. L.O.B. says that a prescription to her is a suggestion. It is. It's not a prescription. It's a suggest. So she goes to the doctor to see what they suggest. So they'll give her a prescription for a steroid cream. And she gets in. She's like, oh, interesting. Now I know your opinion. I'm going to put it in the box with the rest. Yeah. Under considered. Yes. I've considered. I'm not going to fill this. I just wanted to know somebody that went to college for this, what they thought. Right. I'm not doing.
what you say, because I don't trust you. That's an interesting announcement. Noted. Duly noted. I'm going to add it to the pile here. It's fantastic. Woods made an observation that I agree with 150%. He went to the beach on Sunday. There was a snack shop there. Woods decided that he and his lady were going to get a hot dog. And he said they almost puked when they saw this hot dog. Yes. Why? It's sticking out two inches past the bun, both sides. Heaven. What? That's the best part. What's the matter with you people? Seriously. You want extra bun? No, man. You want it to fit. I want it even. I like a little extra on the end. Yeah, it's a bite the end off. I can't eat a hot dog without bread. Can't you? I can't.
It's hideous. The taste of a hot, like just the hot dog. What? Where did it go? In two inches. And this wiener was. It's not right, dude. It was big. Fit it. Yeah, it's got to fit in the. Get a longer bun. They make them. Yeah, it was silly. We both looked at each other and we both tore the ends off. Yeah. And threw them away. It's the right thing to do. We're made for each other. We are. I looked at her and she goes, oh God. Me and Woods or Woods and Jamie? All three of you. Got it. Peas in a pod. It's hideous. Sienna, you like the overflow? Hot dog without the bun is great. I don't need the bun. It's all about the hot dog. When they put that thing up, it's two inches on either side. Bonus. First of all, it looks like bad pornography. It really does. The ends of the hot dogs are the best part. Balloon not. Uh-huh. Yeah, balloon knot. Hideous. Should be in the bun, bro. It's got to fit. I decided to download classical music this weekend. Don't look at me. I'm looking away. Sienna. You're so fancy. You're so fancy. Nice beaver. Music, Mr. Holland. Really? That makes me...
Gay because I downloaded classical music? You're so fancy. You're so fancy. Is it? That I'm fancy? Yes. You think you are. Yeah. Yes. I didn't download it to be fancy. Didn't you? No, I did not. I'll tell you the truth. I downloaded it, Woods, because it made me relax. That is a bit. How dare you? It is a bit. No. Your CD of spa music doesn't make you relax? I don't want to listen to that. Yeah, because that would be weird. So why do you have it on your iTunes? Why do I have the spa music? Yeah. Because sometimes we'll have a mobile spa person come over. Isolate. How dare all of you. How do you recover? Let's hear some. What'd you get? Who'd you go with? Not if you're going to make fun like this. I discovered that my favorite was Mozart. Yeah. Wow. It was a classical version of the Mexican hat dance? I didn't know he did La Cucaracha. Yes. It was a classical version of the Mexican hat dance. This is Mozart. Oh, yeah. I like the string section. Yes. Very fancy, Miguel. Well, I didn't do it to be fancy. I did it because...
I stumbled upon it and it made me relaxed. And then I put it onto my iPod. I went upstairs. I took what I call a fat nap. Okay? That's just me taking a nap. I really do call it that. Well, why wouldn't you? I listened to it during the night. I fell asleep to it. Would you like to hear some? Yes. Please. This piece is called String Quartet No. 2. Nocturne. Picture it. Just waving my hand back and forth like Lecter after he ate that dude. And there in my cage and my white t-shirt with blood all over my mouth. Oh, my God. Sounds like that's the string quartet number two Nocturne, isn't it? Delightful piece. Whenever I serve bath, isn't it? To see a little ball of Mexican madness. Wife laughing at you? She didn't know until this moment. She will. She's pretty embarrassed of me.
A lot of things happen during the course of a weekend where my wife wonders what I'm all about. A little odd. By odd, I mean I'll listen to music and try to think of profound Twitter comments. Yeah. No. No, I guess we all don't. Well, let me read to you what Jay was up to this weekend. Surfing yesterday, having a blast. Does that mean that he was surfing yesterday and he's currently having a blast? I was having a blast. He was having a blast when he was surfing. Good times. You forgot that and I was. Just got off a great wave and turned the paddle back out when I got caught in the crash of a fair-sized wave. Ripped the board right out of my hands and tossed me. Happens. When I finally got out to the lineup, a guy comes paddling up and he says, Hey, don't ditch your board. I said, I hear you.
But what I was thinking was get. Really? Maybe the guy was just trying to help you out, Jay. No. He was afraid he was going to get hit by the board. Because every time we'd catch a wave, he'd catch a wave right behind, and he'd paddle back out right behind me. Which I never paddle behind anybody else, just because I know there's a chance you can lose your board, especially. It's probably about head high. Yeah, they were big. And so I'm just holding onto my board desperately, and it just tosses the whole thing over. He's like, oh, yeah. And they continue to talk about it for a while. I'm like. Tell him easy point break. Just keep it together. Just keep it together. I hear you. I hear you. Thank you. Yeah. Well, who was right and who was wrong? Because I don't understand surfing. You know, you need to hold on to your board for sure. But, you know, things happen. Stuff happens. Sometimes you can't. Sometimes you can't. He would probably know by the level of your surfing. Jay didn't do it on purpose. It's not like Jay was like, hallelujah. Maybe Jay should have said, how's that? What do you mean? I'm unfamiliar. I know exactly what he meant. Hold on to it? You mean like, don't let it go? He would have gotten punched in the face if he said that. Probably. Surfers can get real aggro on you. You know, most of them are pretty nice. I mean, most people are bumping. And I think that he seriously was like, hey, you know, your board almost hit me. And he was probably thinking, but don't paddle behind me. Yeah. That's stupid too, right? I want to. I want to hold on to my board. Trust me. I learn a lot about surfing from talking to Jaybird.
The Casey Anthony trial. Basically, now people know who Nancy Grace is. Not everybody knew who Nancy Grace was before the trial. But now everybody's coming to know her. I think she's a goof, man. She's like the TMZ of reporting. She does that kind of thing, like inquirer type stuff. I don't take her very seriously. She's like Geraldo. Oh, boy. Is that Nancy Grace? This is Nancy Grace. TV's Nancy Grace. You don't have to say TV's Nancy Grace. I know you're on TV, Nancy Grace. What's the deal? So now you're big time or what? Big time, Mike Esparza. Before you were even a twinkle in your father's eye. This is Nancy Grace on the phone. TV's Nancy Grace. TV's Nancy Grace. This is Nancy Grace. You weren't that big time. Most people didn't even know who you were until now.
Most people include people that watch TV, people that are educated. Mike, remind us again what your level of education is. You do that every time, Nancy Grace. You know full well that the deal is that I didn't graduate from high school. You're trying to embarrass me. Don't avoid the question. I answered the question. I didn't graduate. I got my GED. Is it not true that you have been addicted to such things as crystal meth? Yes. Oh, wait. Wow. She's just a salacious reporter. Yes. Whippets. No. Hey, listen. To my defense. To my defense, I was never addicted to whippets. No. Is that not the truth? Why is there a picture of you? I see a picture of you here with a can of, what is this? Ready Whip? No. You don't see a picture of me with... Oh, I'm sorry. This is just a bucket of Cool Whip. That's another slam. You're just trying to slam me. Is it not true that you have been convicted of poaching? No. No. No. That's not true. And you can't just... No. Does a duck-billed platypus mean anything to you? No, it doesn't. Well, it wouldn't because you just...
poached it. How dare you, Mike? I didn't. I can't believe this. I'm learning so much. I didn't poach a ductile billed platypus. Mike. What? Can you please talk about your prison time in Cuba? Mike. I never did prison time in Cuba. You can't just make things up. I didn't. Haven't you? No, I haven't, Nancy. What about this time spent in sex camp? What are these brochures I see? Mike L. Asparza registered as a sex offender. Wow. You creeps. I have never spent any time in sex camp. Mike, you're not a registered sex offender. No, no. Answer the question. I just did. You can't make things up and just go with it. I don't have time for the lies. Thank you. And the deceit. Uh-huh. Thank you. And if you think.
But I'm going to believe these lies. Well, you might as well call me jury number six on the Top Mom case. Thank you. Don't call her Top Mom. Thank you. It's Nancy Grace. Thank you. It's Nancy Grace. TV's Nancy Grace on the phone there. Speaking of salacious, Octomom went on the Today Show. She has eight kids. That's why she's Octo. We didn't even know Octo. She has 14 kids. Eight of them at one time. Okay, so is Octo 14 or eight? It's eight. How come we don't call her Swadraka? She had eight at one time. Octuplets. Feels real good. She didn't make love to anyone, Woods. I know. Turkey based her. They did that. But anyway, listen to this. She's being interviewed. As her children are running around the set. Dr. Michael Kamrava, who was your doctor, your in vitro doctor. He just last week lost his license. He's the one who did your in vitro treatments. Largely because of your pregnancy, he lost your license. When we first talked, Nadia, you defended him. What are your thoughts now? Both. I still defend to a certain point because I wouldn't have...
My oldest, I wouldn't have any of my... She's not looking at the camera. She's not looking at the interviewer. She's just trying to wrangle together children as the questions are being asked. Had he not invented the procedures he had invented, but in regard to him, I don't feel I have the authority. Whoa. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Sorry, sorry, sorry. No, no, that's okay. No. Oh, no, that's electricity. That's electricity. Oh, my God. No, no, no. That's not going to happen. There you go. There you go. Strong. There you go. No problem. We're going to stay on the carpet. But it's difficult, obviously, to keep an eye on everyone and make sure that they're safe and give them their attention. No, I do, though. What I do is I like to take naps while they play. I usually watch them just not while we're on TV and while they're touching electronics. And I leave that up to you, Anne. I figure, Anne, since I'm here, you can watch them. But when I'm at home, I like to take naps and just leave stuff out like scissors, knives, things like that. I noticed, Nadia, there's a pot of boiling water over there. Is that the safest thing for the child? What does it matter? They could get burned. Oh. Lose their skin. Pictures of the house. Hang on a second. Hang on a second. One, two, three, four, five. Uh-oh. No. I only count. Oh, six. Wait a minute. One, two, three, four, five. Huh?
Three of them are missing. Don't know where they are. I guess it doesn't matter. Let me ask Amara a question. Amara? Oh, I'm not going to ask. Okay, wait, good. There was a light back there, and Amara, you know what? Amara, you're doing a great job, because you were the first one to notice. I forgot. Her name's what? You were the first one to notice that. And so how... How, Amara, has it been like for you and the older sister of all these kids? One, two, three, four, five. Jeremiah. Jeremiah. Freeze. Freeze. Freeze. Freeze. Freeze, Noah. Jeremiah's like... No, no, no. That's... Freeze, Noah. Freeze. Sit down right now. Sit down. But, Amara, how has it been for you? Has it been hard? It's been fun. It's a blast. I love it. I think that's one of the older kids that watches. Yes, I'm Amara, and then my sister is Ka. So it's America. Your name's Amara? I'm Amara, and then my sister's Ka. That's unusual. So she wanted to make the name America, and so she did it by, I guess she can't, she's got enough. Yeah, but she has 14 kids, so she was splitting it up. There's one, there's the Unai, and then Ted, and then... Unai, Ted. Wait till I tell you. Till I tell you.
What a publicist is suggesting Casey Anthony should do next. I actually thought to myself, what could be more repulsive than porno for Casey Anthony? I think this is worse than my opinion. I've never been on a school bus. Well, welcome to the Taradone. And Jake. Hey, I like to skateboard. On FM 94.9. Wait till you hear what this publicist says that Casey Anthony should do next. I'm actually more offended by it than if she had been in Playboy or something. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Pretty crazy story. A Russian cruise ship, not a big cruise ship, but a small ship. It was only two decks. We're supposed to carry 120 people, but decided to carry between 185 to 196. The ship sunk, and now nine people have been announced dead and more than 90 missing. Crazy, this is happening right now.
Also, the Casey Anthony jurors are in hiding. One of the husbands of juror number 12 came forward and said his wife has retired from her job by phone, left Florida to escape all the anger from the verdict. They are terrified to be known. Oh, my. Yes. Woods, what's going on in sports? Sports is brought to say by our friends at Frank's Red Hot. Frank's Red Hot. Get some! Derek Jeter has become the 28th player to reach the 3,000 hit mark. Here is the game call of said home run. 22. That one's true. Doesn't hit homers. Not a home run hitter. Holy cow. Also went five for five that day. Oh, my. Had a game-winning hit. It was one of the greatest moments of my life. Woods is huge. It was a Yankee fan. I cry. Yep, sure did, sure did. Also, this is a weird story. Bengals cornerback Adam Pacman Jones has been arrested again. Misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest. Guy has been in trouble a ton, and we'll see if he's denying that he was drunk. 3 a.m. Maybe chain yourself to the toilet. Sad people bringing you your meals. Go on lockdown.
And just stay there. Go play football, come back, chain yourselves. Again. It's too bad that you can't do it like you do with kids where you go. Listen, you just go be by yourself and work it out. Yeah. And then when you're ready to stop getting arrested, you can come out and play. But until then, just stay in your room and work it out. Six other arrests. This is his seventh. I wonder what's the matter with him. I don't know. He's angry. He's mad? Yeah, he's just an angry dude. He's saying, hey, this wasn't my fault. I didn't do anything wrong. I had a neck brace on, so I wasn't resisting. I wasn't drunk. Always something. Mad guy. Speaking of mad, I'm going to read Woods' report on Lord of the Rings. Can't wait. Yep, it's coming up at 8 o'clock. Stay tuned for it. Listen to what this publicist suggested Casey Anthony should do next. No matter what they think about the outcome of this trial, people will tune in and watch. Hollywood publicist Roger Neal says now that Casey Anthony has been found not guilty of killing her two-year-old daughter, she'll be getting book deal offers of close to $750,000. Big offers for her first TV interview, even a possible reality show. Dancing with the Stars would be the best move she could ever make. And trust me, they would put her on because it would be huge, huge ratings.
That's so filthy that you want to take a shower in a car wash with boiling. You want to go to one of those car washes where you have the wand and you press the button and it sprays and you want to put it on boiling hot water. Well, you were hoping that it's like bleach and it's boiling and you want to put it in your eardrums so you can get rid of hearing that somebody suggested that Casey Anthony be on Dancing with the Stars because she would be a star for killing a kid. That's the grossest. It's so ghoulish. It's so ghoulish. And who on earth? Yes, there would be ratings. Who on earth is voting? You know, I think that Casey did a hell of a waltz. I really do. I really think that she went out there, showed poise. especially in light of people being angry at her for killing her daughter. I think she showed poise during that tango. I think that she went out there and with Fernando showed that she's got the chops to get that thing done. Killer dance moves. Killer dance moves.
How do they announce her? What do they announce her as? Like, if somebody else did, they say, oh, this is Heinz Ward. He's a wide receiver. Yeah, wide receiver. What do they say for Casey Anthony? Recently acquitted Casey Anthony. Child murderer. Recently acquitted child murderer Casey Anthony. Accused killer. Yeah. Accused killer Casey Anthony. Yay. Yay. Team Casey. Yay. Yeah. Somebody holding up a cardboard sign. Team Casey. I can't imagine. It's the filthiest thing I've ever heard. A boycott, whatever network that is. Of course. If it happened, it would be awful. Our phone screener. Cross. It's Cross. It's Cross. Chris said that he was shopping this weekend and he saw, quote, a large child crawling around crying on the floor at Sears. Mikey. The child looked at least eight years old, and the parents were letting her cry and crawl the entire time. And, first of all, man, that's weird. But, you know, everybody's got their own parenting style. Some parenting styles dictate that you ignore tantrums, okay? That's super for you. Honestly, I'm just trying to buy...
A freaking socket wrench. And I know that you're doing your parenting bit, but can you get your life-size eight-year-old? And when I say life-size, I mean like a mannequin-sized eight-year-old out of the aisle so that I can get my socket wrench and go. I know you're teaching Sandra a lesson by showing her that you're going to ignore her and that paying attention to her tantrum means nothing. But I don't want to deal with her. You're smearing her all over my face. This is a public place. Like smearing chocolate sauce all over my face. This is a public place. Kicking and running in circles on the floor. On the white linoleum floor at Sears.
I don't want to go. Oh, gosh. Oh, boy. Oh, please. I don't want to go. Kill me. What is this? Stop throwing something. This thing. It's weird. Yeah. Anybody have a moment this weekend where you said, man, that's weird. Call us at 570-1949 if you had a man. That's weird. Where you saw something and you just go, oh, our garbage guy came. And we had four garbages out there. And he came and picked up none of them and kept going. And so I go, hey, hey, hey.
The true story. I even, they're on wheels, right? The trash cans are on wheels. I even got one and I started in flip-flops towards him. Hey! I would like to have seen that. Yeah. Me too. Gone. Left. What? And so, oh no. I brought them all back, you know, and I go back to, and I come back to talk to Rebecca about it. I'm like, out of breath from bringing four. Of course. Yeah. Of course. And I said, and I'm like, they're too heavy and they didn't want to pick them up. What? You know? And so she goes, well, maybe we need to get an extra one so that we can, you know, even it all out. And then my neighbor Dom sends me a text and says, well, it was a holiday, so they're not coming. That was just for recyclables. I had to take them all back. I had to take them all back.
That guy was a recyclable guy. He wasn't a garbage guy. He was a recyclable guy. You guys don't have any recyclables. Yeah, so he's like, I don't have to stop. They don't recycle. There's no bin. That is karma. Yep. Maybe. Anybody see anything that made you go, man, that's weird. I continually have this weird thing going on. What? In the middle of the night, there's this boom happens somewhere around my house. And by the time I get up and try to find it, I cannot find it anywhere. Floor, ceiling, or wall? It's outside. It's almost like somebody pounding on the window. First time I did it, I was all by myself sitting at the computer about 3.40 in the morning. Just sitting there, you know, and bam! Freaked me out. I kind of looked outside, walked around the house, looked in everybody's room. Nothing. So I was like, maybe I'm just crazy. Is that one? Boom. Well, it started happening more now. It's like, boom, boom! What? And I can't figure it out. Hold it, guys. Happened last night. Again, at this time it was 2.30. It wakes me up every time now. What could that be? I have no clue. His whole family knows about it. Now it's everybody gets up. He's been telling me. It makes me crazy because now, first off, Bear jumps up and he's like, he's all in now because he hears it and he goes and tries to find it. Kim's in. Finnegan's usually just getting in about the time that it goes off. I cannot figure it out. What could it be that he hears?
Two big boom, boom. And then nothing. It's been like two weeks, too. No, it's been like over a month now. Oh, my gosh. It's like this. Oh, that just gave me the chills. I have no idea. And it's scary when you're by yourself the first time because I'm, like, looking outside. And I actually went outside to walk over there. Is there, like, a branch that could hit your window? No branches. Like a tree coming to life or something? Yeah, a tree. You know what it is? I don't know. It's probably a dead body that's wanting to get out. Oh, God. I'm pretty sure he is right. That is. It's probably in the wall. Oh, not this bit. Jay's in the coffin. Jay just went in the coffin. He's in the coffin. Jay's in the coffin. I'm not coming out. It's probably just a clown. A dead clown. A dead clown that you buried on an old, like a clown burial ground. Yeah, you buried it on the Micmac burying grounds. It was a Micmac clown. Yeah, it's no big deal. No big deal. It'll be fine. It just wants your soul. It's no big deal. Yeah, it just wants to eat your soul. You know, one night it's going to be thunder and lightning and a bunch of clowns are going to float up out of your pool. You'll see a flash of lightning and just a bunch of clown faces.
Really after my alcohol? Clearly. Yes, because all clowns are in fact alcoholics. Mike, I'm just messing around. I just wanted to get in a reference about you. Does your daughter Liberty hear the sound? You know, she doesn't. She's the only one who hadn't gotten involved yet. Maybe it's the sound of her window opening because she's sneaking out. Oh, I would definitely know that. Maybe it's her boyfriend sneaking out. Because it's the time he's coming home, Finn, maybe she's going out. Hey, these are not bad. But she doesn't have to sneak out. She's 21 this month. Maybe her boyfriend's sneaking out. She could just do whatever she wants, pretty much. She's 21. Oh, wow. I'm trying to think. I've bought a camera the whole bit. I don't want to know. Do whatever, you know? Swing, swinging. I bought a swing. Put a tire on it. 570-1949. Mikey Show, who's this? This is Leah in El Cajon. Hi. What did you see this weekend that made you go, man, that's weird? It was actually last week, and I had my daughter with me at the park, and she decided she didn't want to leave the park, so she looks around, and then at the top of her lungs screams,
You can't leave me. I'm not going. Or you can't take me. I'm not going. Every parent turned around and looked at me as if I was kidnapping my uncle. Holy cow. Holy cow. Holy cow. Holy cow. Holy cow. I do not. Dude, I'm telling you, man. We got to be careful what our kids watch. Because if our kids see one thing that, you know, they can say. Yep. They watch something for safety and they're like, stop, you're abducting me. Stranger danger. Stranger danger. Stranger danger. Stranger danger. You're like, I'm your dad. It's my kid. It's my kid. Why is it white and you're brown? How come the kid's white and you're brown? What made it worse is she wouldn't stop until I threatened to take away the iPhone my dad gave her. You're like, I can tell you her birthday, the whole thing. Thank you. Classic. Wow. I saw a turd, thought it was plastic in the bowl, and thought it was plastic. And I kept flushing the automatic, you know, because I had to. And I kept flushing. It wouldn't go. I thought it was plastic. How much it wouldn't move, wouldn't budge. Finally, about the hundredth flush, it broke into like a piece of bamboo, and there it went. Where were you? Down the... Oh, look it. Woods is in his coffin.
Is this at home? No, it's at church. It's at church. Who does that at church? Somebody left that at church? I don't know that the place really... Sinner. Who did that at church? Well, it's not like they went... It's not like you decide. Don't you do a check behind? Yes, that's the kind of doo-doo that would happen at Target, not church. Don't you do a check behind and go, well, I can't leave that here. I can't leave that here. I better go call a plumber. Since I'm at church. No, but keep flushing until you get it down if it's yours. Oh, I think they probably tried. They just weren't as committed as I was. That's a true statement. I was committed. Wow. I was not. Wow. I was not going to stop until. They should change their diet. Yes. They should stop eating steel. Steel turd. 570-1949. Call us and tell us if you saw something that made you go, man, that's weird. Something real, you know, just odd. I was, we were driving through a fast food restaurant and I looked down and there was nothing wrong with this. There's nothing wrong with it, but it still skeeved me. And I thought about it for about 90 seconds, a good 90 seconds it was in my conscious. A rat trap. Now they're the big plastic kind. They're shaped like a triangle and they've got a big hole.
where the rat goes inside. And it was a fast food restaurant, and there was no rat. There was nothing there. It was inside. What? You saw it inside? No, I saw it outside the establishment. Now, that's just good caretaking on their part. They're doing nothing wrong. In fact, they're doing something. Lauren O'Brien just went into her coffin. She is now laying down with her arms crossed over her chest, eyes closed. Now, what would have been bad... What would have been bad, first of all, Lauren, they would never let a body with the mouth open. So when you have your mouth open like that, they'd at least close your mouth in that coffin. They'd sew it shut. It's no big deal. You monster woods. But I thought, hey, they're being good. You're thinking due diligence. Hey, they're just doing their due diligence. But this is where my mind went. I'm like, when does dude come to check that out? They can't during business hours.
I would scream. If I was there and I'm in line waiting and I see, you know, Corky's guy come by and he's like... And I can hear it rattling around. Blood splatter. We got one! It's so big! I bet they take it and just replace it with a new one. Maybe. I don't know. I think that they probably come at like 5 a.m. or something. Oh, it got me skeeved. 570-1949. Let's see. M1 Stewart from San Diego. Are you there? Yeah, right here. What did you see this weekend that made you go, man, that's weird. I think I know what Jay's sound is. Oh, what do you think that is? On our house, we have like this garden room that's in the back and it has kind of a metal roof on it.
And in the summertime, when the sun hits it, it heats up. And then at night, as it cools, it snaps. It pops. Backing back down. See, I thought that, but this is new. And if I had just done a project anywhere around the house, I would go, okay, that's probably it. But nothing has changed for it to all of a sudden start doing this. It's only been doing it for about a month. Is it just when it started to get hot? Oh. Yeah, because, I mean, but it would have been something that would have happened last year. And it happens at weird times of the night, too. When it's not very hot. It's not very hot. It's had plenty of time to cool down by that point. Because I definitely thought about that. I'll tell you what is maddening is when you hear something and no one else does. Like, I'd be laying down, this was last year, be laying down to go to sleep, and I could swear I was hearing a motor very faintly. Some kind of motor making something run. And I go, babe, do you hear that? Hear what? Do you hear like a motor? No. You answered too fast. Let's be quiet for a second and then listen and tell me if you hear a motor. Okay. 570-1949. What did this TSA agent find in this? What did they find in this TSA agent's pants? Amadillo?

Hey, Monday morning, being brought to you by Frost Brewed Coors Life, the world's most refreshing beers, of course. Coors Brewing Company, Golden, Colorado. New increase in swell out of the south-southwesterly direction is helping to keep the sides up a notch or two. That is joining in with some old southwest and a bit of west-northwest crossing it up. Wave highs looking at running in the chest-to-shoulder high zone on average, but top-open spots are seeing shoulder-to-overhead set waves by a couple of feet on those inconsistent but larger sets.
Again, primarily at the top open areas to that south-southwest swell mix. Overcast skies will greet you right now. Looks like there'll be a burn-off, though. We do have some south winds this morning, light little eddy winds, putting a texture on a lot of areas, too. So, again, not the cleanest in terms of surface textures, and the swell combination itself is somewhat broken up. That being said, pick-and-choose corners can be found at the beach breaks, especially at the structured areas, and top south-facing reef areas look pretty fun as well. So that's pretty much the way we're starting the week out with. For up-to-the-minute surf reports, forecasts, go to surfline.com. But did this TSA agent have down his pants? I'll tell you in just a minute. 8 o'clock. We're going to read Woods' Lord of the Rings report.
He watched Lord of the Rings at my house with my wife and I. Word of the day is Frisbee. When I say that word, between now and ten, caller nine gets tickets to see Rage Against the Machine, Muse, Rise Against, Lauren Hill, at the L.A. Coliseum. So bad. Ever just use phrases that you use with your kids because you're used to hearing it? How bad? Like if you had a milk carton, would you go in a milk carton? Oh, no, I couldn't. Could you do that? Yeah. In front of the girls? Yeah. With the girls in the same room, you could. Yeah, they're like sisters. My brother doesn't do that in front of me. Ella B's boyfriend's never done that. No, my brothers have never done that either. Yeah. I could not do that. On a scale of 1 to 10, I was 6, 7. Oh, wow. Why didn't you go? I forgot. All right, that's not true. I remembered. The truth is that eating was more important to me. All right, I'm shamed. I'm shamed. I'm shamed. Wow. Really?
You got to wow me after I make the admission? You still got to wow me? You silly sausage. Sienna, tell me about this TSA agent, what they found down his pants. 30-year-old Nelson Santiago. was working at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport, and someone saw him take an iPad out of someone else's luggage and stuff it in his pants. What a jerk. What a D. Yeah, he was arrested on two counts of grand theft, and since then he's admitted to stealing computers, GPS devices, video cameras, and some other electronics, in which he immediately takes pictures of them and sells it online. So he's made over 50 grand over the last six months. 50 grand? Wow. That's a lot of stuff. Uh-huh. Oh, that makes my stomach hurt with anger. Oh, what a jerk. See, because I always, oh, you want to think the best of people. You just want to go to Denver, that's all. Just go see your cousin. Just going to see your cousin. Their big anniversary thing. You're going. Imagine you're going to see their big anniversary thing. Imagine this one. Imagine you don't want to go see them.
You got dragged there by your wife? Yeah. Oh, dude. And you don't want to freaking go to Denver. And you just don't want to. And you got something real cool that weekend and you get there. Where's my freaking iPad? What is my freaking iPad? I'm sure you left it at home. I didn't, babe. Stop freaking out. I put it in there. I don't want to be. Yes, I did. You always forget stuff. Lauren Katush, I told you. I don't want to go to see your cousin. I'm sorry. I'm yelling. What does this have to do with my cousin? I didn't want to be here at the Denver Marriott to begin with. Okay. I didn't want to be here. We're here. You got on the plane. You know what? $11.95 a day for the wireless that I can't use now. Consider yourself saved. Money saved. Oh, that's wonderful. I'm sure it's home on the coffee table with all your other stuff. Why is... Why is the lock broke on my arm? Oh, this is freaking great. I have a report due. I was going to use pages to make. Now nothing. Can't do it. Do you know that I am the most accomplished neurosurgeon in all of San Diego County? Now here I am, Denver Marriott. Supposed to be a vacation. Oh, here it is supposed to be. Yeah, take a break. Maybe we go to Kabul.
We come to see her cousin. It's a weekend trip. Second wedding. Second wedding, we do the third, fourth. Hey, it counts just as much. Does it? It counts just as much. She met the guy at the coffee shop. Who cares? Don't judge. I'm judging. Where did we meet? At the coffee shop. Yeah. Let's see here. So, I got an email and you tell me if this is bad. Mikey, feel free to kick this one around. Don't use my real name. My kid's soccer season is starting soon. And we're about to start doing player evaluations. Tryouts, basically. Listen carefully now as I explain to you what this person is considering. Is it wrong that I told my kid to lay off a little during the tryouts and therefore not be ranked as high? That way, we can get even better players.
Am I, in fact, a monster? M1 Anonymous. Now, to be clear, what he means is, is that in order to keep the teams balanced, fair, and equal, they evaluate the children. If the children are good players, well, then they need to put a kid that's not as good on the team. So as not to load the team with a bunch of good players and make it unfair. Well, this person's child is very skilled. So he wants the kid to pretend that he's a little clumsy. Oh, boy. That way, they go, well, we got a klutz. We better get a good one. Monster. Now that kid's team is loaded for bear. Yep. Now, what do we think of this? Here's why I believe it's wrong. You are, in effect, teaching your child that the right thing to do is A, lie, and B,
And the reason that you lie and cheat is to achieve your desires. Your desires. Yes. Yeah. The coach. The dad. Yeah. Right. Or, you know, but the kid, what the kid takes away from it is, well, if I want something, I just cut some corners by lying and cheating. By any means necessary. By any means necessary. And the way that I'll justify it is, eh. And that's it. Really. E-H dot. Now, if you go, eh. The eh means, I don't think it's that big a deal. That means that principle matters less than the outcome. My dad would have kicked the ass of someone that did something like that. Not literally, but figuratively. He really wouldn't have done anything. He would have just secretly not liked them. But yeah, I think it's wrong because you're teaching the kid to be a liar and a cheat. Yeah, and more than that for me, it's annoying. You know what?
What are you, Vince Lombardi? Yeah. Easy Vince. Yeah, easy Vince. They're a 10-year-old whatever soccer player. Yeah. I got to witness this bit firsthand and listen to these dads lobby for their sons to be lower draft picks in our little league draft. Yeah, what's a coach? They're lobbying for them. They're like, he's not a one. He's a four. I'm like, he's a four? Come on. Yeah, he's not a one. He's not a one. Yes, he is. I saw him in the tryout. He hit four home runs in the tryout. Okay, a one means real good, four runs not that good. Yeah, that means round draft pick. He's not a first rounder. He's a fourth rounder at best. I'm like, kid's got a cannon and he's hitting bombs in the tryout. Ridiculous. Here's the thing. I used to think that it was because the dads are trying to live vicariously through their kids, which is the easy answer. The truth of the matter is, is that these dads could have been great themselves. It's a competitive thing. There's no question. It means that that is a defining quality. It's a defining thing. It makes up, it is part of the whole of who I am. As a dad, for me, it's all a bunch of other stuff. I care about their character and all that crap. I don't care. Plus, Ryan has pigeon toes. That poor boy. Don't cover the face, Sienna.
How dare you? How did that come up? Because when he tries out for stuff, he's going to be a four. Did you say a four? Is there less? Yeah, we had like 12. What does it go to? One through 12. He's going to surprise you. He might. His Uncle Wood's going to be working with him. Teach him how to throw and hit real good. Working? What does that mean? What does that mean? Me laying around eating. Teach him how to eat. I'm actually a coach, a little league coach. That works with a lot of kids in this area. Hey, Ryan, here's how you lay around. Yeah, here's how you order a Big Mac. Yeah. He'll know how to do that. He'll know how to do that. Yeah, his dad will teach him that. It's in the DNA. How dare you. It made no sense. You guys know he'll know how to order a burrito. Not a Big Mac. No. No. 5701949. Is that wrong?
It's, yeah. Or is it no big deal? Don't you tell your kid? Okay, you're sending your kids off to tryouts. What do you tell them? Everyone's afraid to call, by the way. They think I'm going to, I will leave you alone. I won't discuss it. Well, you, what are you going to tell your kids when you send them off to tryouts? Hey, kids, do your very best. Do your best. Not, hey, take it a little easy. Dad needs a high draft pick. You're a dork. You're just a dork. Right, wrong, whatever. Fine. You're a dork. Sienna. Yes. Would you do this? No. Of course not, right? This guy's a monster. What about having fun when you play? L-O-B? No. I would not. It's one thing if you're going to try out for an adult league, Woods, and you want to throw it for yourself, make that decision. Don't teach your kid that. And plus, walk it through. Why am I doing this? I'm doing it so that my kid's team wins. Right. You have to ask yourself, what kind of importance is that? Winning at all costs. I mean, it's... Important. There are stories that I got about my little league that I didn't even share that I'd be happy to sometimes. Some things that I saw out on that field would blow your mind. I bet they would. That these dads did. I bet they would blow your mind. Yeah, I know they would. Where you're just like, really? You look at them and you go, what? You're going to steal signs from a little kid? You're stealing signs. You're tipping your hitters off to what my pitcher is going to throw. These are 12-year-olds. What? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
A dad. A dad. Was stealing pitching signs. I almost got in a fistfight. Almost. True story. Almost. True story. He wanted to tell me after the game that he was trying to teach his kids how to play with dignity and respect. And I go, were you not just stealing signs and telling your kids what my pitcher is throwing? Clown. Clown. I mean, there's no other way you can look at it. Meanwhile. That guy's got a job. Oh, yeah. Like, this is his spare time. Yeah, this is free time. We're not getting paid for this. It's fun for him. That dude is in his sleep twitching. Like, that's that guy. The twitch guy. I've never seen anything like it. M1 Lori is on the line from San Diego. Let me talk to Lori. Are you there, Lori? Yes. Go ahead. was that a lot of parents like to build a winning team for their children so that the kids understand what it means to win and they'll have a winning confidence for later in life so that they'll always feel like I can win. Lori, do you mean as opposed to the parents who don't want a winning team and in fact want a losing team for their child? No, I just mean they say that
it will give their child a competitive edge in life, and they try to stack the cards in their kids' favor. Now, I think that's clownish. What do you think, Lori? Do you think that person's a clown? I do think they're a clown. I think that they should let their kids learn the consequences and be able to have fun and win and lose as things happen. I agree. Not correct for them to do that, but I do hear people talk about this. And, you know, look at how much better my child will be in life if they can have these winning experiences. Uh-huh. Thank you. I appreciate it. Yeah, it's the same concept of we now give out trophies to kids for being in eighth place. Yeah. We give them a trophy because everybody's got to have a trophy. I mean, look at the Bad News Bears. They were a bunch of misfits. And they won. Surprise everybody. Exactly. It's a participation trophy. It's so weak. It is not. That is lame, dude. The kids that are like six and seven, it's absolutely. It's just like, hey, you participated. This is what you get. Hey, you signed up. You paid the deal. Hey, congrats. Here's your trophy. They know whether they won or lost. They know whether they won or lost. It doesn't say first place. You're number one. Here's the award. You know, they go on and they play like there's tournaments and everything at the end. It's a participation trophy? Basically, it's like, hey, you participated and here you go. It devalues the first, second.
third place trophy. It totally does. It totally devalues. What's your incentive to get a real trophy? Right. Just to go out there and play and have fun. It's not about winning. It's about having fun. Getting better. You remember what fun is when you go out and actually do something? Well, yeah, but what are you going to give them a fun sticker? Hey, you came out. I mean, it's like going to the bathroom. They give you a bathroom. Hey, you made it. Kids that are competitive are competitive regardless whether there's a trophy at the end. They're just like, hey, they're just participating. But I... If I'm trying to put my finger on why we live in an age where people are so freaking entitled, freaking entitled. Because they got a trophy? It's because they got a trophy for being in eighth place, and that tells them I deserve it. I got trophies growing up the whole time. Yeah, you deserve them. No. You got what? When I played baseball or whatever, we all got trophies or played soccer. I got the same thing. I got the same thing. When you're little, like six or seven, like he's talking, I think it's adorable. That's okay. It's the older. In middle school, it should stop. But elementary school, that's awesome to get a trophy. Let's see. Oh, listen to M1 Scott from Lakeside. Go ahead, Scott. Yeah, Mikey. What's happening, it's not that crazy on the grand scale because...
I used to see fights. Dad's literally brawling on the field and in the stands. So even though it is bad, it's on a grand scale. It's not as bad as some stuff that's going on. Did you see any of that? All kinds, man. I've had dads come up to me in the middle of a game and be like, hey, you going to take him out or what? Oh, boy. Or, hey, my kid wants to pitch, man. Pitch him now. And it's just like, dude, really? I mean. It's just my eyes were really open to, you know, and I don't have kids. So watching this stuff go down, I'm like, file that away as what not to do. Granted, I love to win, too. I may have to watch my kids' games from the minivan, but that's where I'll be because I know better. Oh, my goodness. It's gnarly, though. Hey, what do you guys think of this? Rebecca took Jake to the fair, and one of the deals with autism is that they... They like to watch mechanical things work. That's why Jake loves the automatic flushing toilets. He loves it. It's his thing. I mean, he's more into that than other kids are into TV shows. It's his reward at church. If he does good at church, we get to go to the triangle potty and he gets to watch the urinals. So anyway, he goes to the fair with Rebecca and he's fascinated with the
water with the faucet, the drinking fountain. So he's pressing the button and he's watching it. Now, a guy comes along and, of course, a guy comes along and wants to get a drink of water. Get out of the way, Jake. You know, somebody wants a drink. And you're just sitting there playing. But this guy scolded Jake for wasting water. Whoa. Now, in dude's defense, he doesn't know Jake is autistic and he doesn't know that Jake has a stimulation thing happening with the water. But for me, even if he doesn't have that, the qualification, in my opinion, for saying you're wasting water is that in no way in your own life do you waste anything. Then you can do that. Freely. If you're in fact Mother Teresa, then you can say something. To a four-year-old. Now,
You guys know me. You know me. I'll say like, hey, if my kid's in the wrong, my kid's in the wrong, you know? And if it was an issue where Jake was just sitting there playing with the water on the drinking fountain and didn't want to get out of the way to somebody that really wants to drink a water, I would say to myself, happy birthday, pal. What, are you just going to sit there and let your kid just sit, stand there and play with a water fountain? Right. But he was doing it because of the stimming thing and guys schooling him about wasting water. Where are you with that? Well, you made the point, man. You said he didn't know. He didn't know. Great. So that's why you don't say anything. That's exactly why you don't say anything. Right there. Because you don't know. If I'm making fun of somebody because they can't read, maybe they can't read. Maybe they actually can't read. Maybe they actually cannot read. Plus, it's going back down the drain, which I think gets recycled anyway. Yeah, feast, pal. It's not like he's spraying it around the yard or on the concrete. Sienna? Oh, Jake, he's an angel. Don't mess with him. I don't like it. L-O-B? Keep your eyes on your own paper. I'm going to give it another belt. I mean, the guy's at the fair. I'm sure there's something at the fair that's got to be something. It's all about waste at the fair, dude. You eat one bite, you throw something away. Is he just walking around going, you're going to finish that fried Kool-Aid? You're just going to throw it away. There's people starving in Africa. Hey, what are you doing? What is that, butter? That's fried butter, isn't it? That's fried butter. You didn't eat the whole thing. That guy could never go to Vegas. No. With all the wasting happening. King Clown.
No, I'm just excited. I'm too. Woods watched Lord of the Rings. Got out of my car this weekend with the kids and someone said, what do Woods think? Scared me half the day. I turned around. What do Woods think of Lord of the Rings? Said you gotta wait till 8 o'clock on Monday morning, pal, to find out what Woods thought of Lord of the Rings. His comment has always been, I haven't seen Lord of the Rings. I don't want to see the Lord of the Rings. Girls. He lost a bet, though. Yes. So he had to watch it. And when we come back, Woods was forced to write a little report about the Lord of the Rings, and I'll read it to you. It's next. Mikey Show now. Call 570-1949. Or text 949Mikey at gmail.com. Woods Lord of the Rings report is coming up here in just moments. Had a lot of weird sales encounters. I went to Home Depot to buy a barbecue.
So he uses the corniest sales line I've ever heard. He goes, you buy this grill, you'll give your neighbors something to talk about. What am I, live in an Amish country? If I want to give my neighbors something to talk about, I'm not going to buy a grill. I'm going to mow my lawn wearing nothing but a thong and a top hat. That'll get him, Chad. See what's going on in the news. Oh, boy. We'll be hearing a lot about this, I have a feeling. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has ruled that marijuana has no accepted medical use and should remain classified. Holy, phone's ringing in here. What the heck? Somebody playing Pac-Man? And should remain classified as a highly dangerous drug. Marijuana, they're talking about, so I'm sure that won't go away for a while. Also, a 22-year-old man was arrested for breaking into the Ed Sullivan Theater where the late night... The Late Show with David Letterman is filmed. It was a New York kid, James Whitmore. He pried open the studio, smashed glass panels, vandalized the place. Wow. Yeah. Woods, what's going on in sports? So interesting story from Tiger Woods. He's called a press conference today at 8 a.m. our time. It seems a little weird because he hasn't said what it's about. So they're speculating on, you know, is it his knee? Is he going to tell us he's retiring from golf? It could be literally anything. It could be about his beard. Yes, it could be about his new beard that looks so strange.
Also, Steelers Super Bowl MVP, Hines Ward, was arrested on a DUI charge in Georgia over the weekend. Booked into DeKalb County Jail at 3.41 a.m., charged with driving under the influence. Woods lost in bed, had to watch Lord of the Rings over at my place. Extended edition. And he had to write a report. And I will now read it to you. It's a Lord of the Rings essay by Stephen R. Woods. He says, let me preface this. S.A. by letting our listeners know that I once spent 20 consecutive days in jail. That went by quicker than Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Rings. He put fellowship. Is it Fellowship of the Rings? Because he put Fellowship of the Rings. Excuse me. Anytime you have to use subtitles when a movie is done in English, you know you're in for a long day. The movie opens with the creation.
of this magical ring. It later winds up in the hands of Dildo Baggins. Dildo is because... Is that a typo? It's not Dildo. It's Bilbo Baggins. Dildo Baggins. It's not what his name was. Wasn't it, in fact, Dildo Baggins? No. And you wrote that here. I thought it was a typo, but you thought that. No, it's Bilbo Baggins. Oh. So Dildo Baggins was that old guy. The old hobbit. Dildo is becoming a slave to the ring's powers until the crusty old wizard, Randolph. It's Gandalf. He knows. What are you talking about? Begs him to give the ring to his nephew, Frito. It's not Frito. It's not Frito. Are you sure? Yes. I thought it was Frito Baggins. No. And Dildo Baggins. It's Frodo. It's not Frito. I thought it was Frito. Frito and his boys, including Pennywise Ganji. It's Samwise Gamgee. Are being stalked by the Headless Horseman. What is that, Woods? Just keep reading. Sorry about that. I fell asleep writing about this film. It's a lot of S's and D's. Like you wouldn't press backspace. Nope. As is. I yawned 27 times in the first 45 minutes of this movie and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. I've realized that I don't care for movies of this type.
I don't care about effects, cinematography, etc., etc. I like reality. I don't like to lose myself in fantasy. Also, I like girls. Yes. All of you fans of Dildo and Frito can have them. All yours. Kid will be watching Goodfellas. Here's a list of movies that I'd rather watch than Lord of the Rings. Number one. Ernest goes to camp. Number two, Ernest goes to jail. Number three, ladybugs. Number four, cobra. Number five, Norbit. Number six, white chick starring the Wayans Brothers. Number seven, Geely. Number eight, from Justin to Kelly.
Number nine, Britney Spears in Crossroads. Yeah. Love that movie. Great movie. Number 10, Cool as Ice, starring Vanilla Ice. And number 11, Mr. Bean. So feast. There it is, ladies and gentlemen. That's it. That's Wood's report on what he thought of Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring. It's torture. Torture, torture, torture. To my defense. The phone wouldn't stop ringing. Doesn't matter. All right. That was one thing. The phone wouldn't stop ringing. Number two. Rebecca thought it would be a good idea in the darkened movie theater known as my living room. You know, we have these blackout drapes. We blacked out the room. Rebecca. Hello, Bree. Yes, go on. Rebecca thought it would be a good idea while Woods.
who already has a short attention span and doesn't want to watch a fantasy movie, Rebecca thought it would be a great idea to sit there and turn her bright iPhone on and start texting. That was probably my fault. What do you mean? I was texting Rebecca. I forgot that you guys were watching the movie. There's a sale at Whole Foods. Oh, my God. Sorry. I realized afterwards. You texted over a sale at Whole Foods. You and my wife are going to destroy. That's the goal. I was texting as well. Anybody that would text me back. Kill me. Somebody save me. I wrote Jamie. She said, how's the movie? I said, this movie sucks ass. I'm still alive. Maybe you give it a chance. Oh, I gave it a chance. No, you didn't. Yes, I did, Mike. I gave it a chance. You're texting during it. L.O.B.'s texting my wife. And I said to Rebecca, I go, can you not do it? And she looked at me like,
I was some kind of axe murderer. Like I was some kind, like I had just, you know, like I just screamed at her. It is a little dramatic. Is it? It's her home. It's her home. We're trying to watch a movie. It wouldn't have made it better. She could be texting in the nude and it wouldn't have been better for me. That movie being on, it's the worst. I don't understand that reference. I don't either. I don't understand that. That didn't make any sense. It was almost as if you just wanted to say that my wife could have been texting in the nude. I'm saying it wouldn't have distracted me anymore from how bad that movie sucked. It's a great movie. It is not a great movie. I didn't understand a word of it. It's long. And Randolph and Dildo and all those guys. I was out on all those dudes. I only liked their feet was the only thing I liked about it. They're hideous. They're hideous. Sienna didn't like the movie. But the one thing she did take away was their feet. They're disgusting. Very large. Very large feet. And the way they all talked and just... Yeah, it's bad. If I take one more step, it will be the farthest from the Shire that I've ever been. You did it, Woods.
It was awful. Proud of you. Is this M1 LJ or IJ? LJ. LJ from Orange County. What were you calling to say? Calling to say that I'm a little bit disappointed in Woods because he says that he likes girls. Well, I'm a model and I have been for a while. And I'm absolutely gorgeous, I have to say. How old are you? By the way, you just... Okay, wait. You just put Sienna in her coffin. I'm 37, but I'm like 25. Wait a minute. You just put Sienna in her coffin. L.O.B. officially threw off her headphones and walked out of the studio in disgust. Who says that? You're hot. Women ever just get angry at other women? It's a ridiculous comment. Send us a picture so we can... Thank you for informing us. Noted. LJ, give her a chance. That's the model talk. LJ. I will absolutely send you a picture. I'm a redhead. I'm tall and statuesque. And not conceited at all. I love Lord of the Rings. LJ? You're the one. LJ. I absolutely love Lord of the Rings. LJ. Hang on a minute. Hang on a minute. I'm going to put you on hold. Are you on Facebook?
All right, I'm going to put you on hold, and I'm going to have our phone screener get your name. We're not going to announce it on the air. Thank you. But then I'm going to look it up, okay? Okay. Hang on. Go ahead, Chris. Man, that got the girls. Oh, it got them real good. Who says that? I'll tell you what. I thought they were mad about the Casey Anthony verdict. It's nothing compared to LJ saying, She is really good looking if she does say so herself. And then she went on to say she's in her 30s, but looks like she's in her 20s. Like, really with that comment? Hey. She's confident. Really? That's how you become a model. Probably single, too. Man. Well, if she's single, it's because she likes Lord of the Rings. Trust me on that one. I like Lord of the Rings. Oh, wait. Oh, wait. I'm unmarried as well. Whoa. My wife likes Lord of the Rings, but she gave me an ultimatum. That was a joke, you guys. I was trying to make a joke. Give it to me. Give it to me. You give it to me. We all want it. We're going to look up and see if LJ is what she says she is. Everybody just call me. You can't judge her by the profile pic because that doesn't tell all. My profile pic doesn't look like me. I guess we're doing this right now. I'll tell you what's going on here.
It's what it is. You can't find it. No, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Let me see. Okay, are you there, LJ? Yeah, try a middle K. Okay, yeah. Is it the one that's got the K in the middle? Yeah, it would be a K in the middle. How old is that picture? A couple years. I think she's very pretty. Thank you. I think she's very pretty. You wouldn't say otherwise. I actually look better than that now. You actually what? I look better than that now. Well, when you say you look better than that now. Of course you do. On what basis? Like, how do you look better? I'm thinner than that now. Okay. I think... I need... Okay. Why haven't you changed your profile pic, then? Why haven't you changed... That's a great question, Sienna. Because usually if you lose weight, it's the first thing you do. Should we go break? Well, because I just...
Because I'm very conscientious of my weight, and so I don't change it until I really feel emotionally that I feel better. Well, emotionally, you sound like you're doing great. Yeah. I'm doing pretty fabulous. You sound great. Any backlash you brought on yourself? My point is that I think that Wizzy is not giving... I gave it a chance. I did. I gave it a chance. I'm not... even concerned about the Lord of the Rings anymore. What are you concerned about now? Well, the radio program has effectually changed topics. Okay? What we were talking about was the Lord of the Rings. What we're talking about now is that you called and put Sienna right in her coffin. And you got Lauren to stand up. throw her hands back like, I can't believe what I just heard, then take her headphones off and walk out of this studio. True story. She thought I was horrible for saying that I love The Land of the Rings. Oh, no. No, no, no. There's so many things wrong with that statement. No. No. The two ladies were upset because you were saying...
That you're good looking. Now, us guys, we had a different feeling about it, I think. I wasn't disgusted by it. In fact, I was curious. At that point, I became curious. I needed to know. You thought I was ugly? No. Not necessarily. We were like, wow, she's confident. Yeah, she's confident. And I was like, wow, she's arrogant. And it made me think to myself, well, I want to see what a girl who thinks very highly of herself looks like. No, I think you're pretty. No, I think that, can I be, can I be just, oh boy. All right, fine. You know, well. I'm back in the coffin. I'm back in the coffin. Okay, fine. Okay, fine. I won't then. I was about to ask. I was going to ask. She brought it on herself. No, no, no, no, no, no. She did not bring it on herself. I do not believe in bringing, you know, that means like, oh, I'm not, I'm not going to attack anybody. I was going to be observational. Point of reference, though, these are two women that we work with, Sienna and Lauren, that if they saw a picture of Giselle Bundchen, they'd be like, she's toothy. Her lips are too big. Her hair is all dry. You always say that, and then Sienna and I give you an example of beautiful women. Right, Natalie Portman. No, Megan Fox, I said. I said Victoria's Secret model. Yeah, shooting for the stars. Yeah, we'll show you two a picture of...
A little person, African-American with red hair and freckles. Gorgeous. And you guys will be like, oh, she's so pretty. She's beautiful. She's pretty. She's really pretty. She's stunning. She's stunning. That red hair. Oh, my gosh. She's stunning. That fire red hair is stunning. Oh, that albino girl is gorgeous. I can see through her. She's gorgeous. Look at those pale eyes. Look at those pale eyes. Look at those little pink rabbit eyes. They're translucent. If a male caller called in right now and said, oh, and by the way, for no reason, I have a six pack. I had a threesome last night. And I can bench 200. Topper. Wouldn't you be like, oh, okay. Excuse, excuse, excuse. If said man was calling in because a girl on the show was saying only dorks. you know, bowl. Only dorks bowl. And he called in to say, hey, listen, I'm not a dork. In fact, I'm a model. I'm a male model. I got ripped abs, blah, blah, blah. We'd be like, see, girl? See? But let me tell you, that girl said she was good looking. And Sienna and L.O.B., they were about to jump through these microphones, go into her ear, and implant a Matrix bug that would...
destroy her brain. They would go in their ear and eat their way out. Woods did not say only ugly girls watch Lord of the Rings. He said, I like girls. I don't like to lose myself in fantasy. Well, LJ. Uncalled for. LJ. Are you still with us, LJ? Yes. I think you're pretty. Thank you. I love you. I think you're pretty. She agrees with you. You know what? I think that LLB and Sienna are amazing too and I would not compare myself to them. Thank you. How do you guys feel now? Like a monster. Like a monster. I just, I'm not saying she's not pretty. I just, and Lauren too, I'm sure, have a hard time hearing girls be like, and I am so gorgeous and I look younger than I am. No, no, no, no. I think that people who are beautiful are lucky as hell. And I would never take credit for that because that's just the way you're born. Yeah, I am not beautiful. What? She listened. She sang, I can't help it. I was born this way. I am beautiful no matter what I say. Christina Aguilera wrote that song about me. A lot of people look at me and don't think I'm pretty at all. Well, I'm glad you think you're beautiful. I think that you are very pretty. And that's good that you have that confidence. But I wouldn't say that to everyone out loud because you sound a little bit arrogant. You're the only people I've ever said that confidence to.
There you go. You're beautiful in it. Every single way. In fact... I think you just listen to this song and you can just see it. You are beautiful in every single way. I'm when LJ sings. It's actually Christina Aguilar singing about everyone. Now, you guys know. You guys know. I have a very complex brain. You guys know that. But you also know that there is something. There is a part of my brain that's missing. I am able to speak very frankly. And you guys have to sort of teach me, hey, Mike, sometimes you can be too frank. Filters. You know, filters. You need filters. And so you guys were sort of giving me the, hey, you know, don't comment on her picture. Whereas I think she's very pretty. She is. I was just going to, you know, I was going to.
be observational, but you guys don't think that's a good idea. I thought you were going to throw in some sort of however, like you did with the singers last week. Well, I mean, the singers were asking. She's not asking. Right. Yes. She's not asking. And I understand that. She is pretty. I want you to know that, LJ. She is pretty. You are pretty. She is pretty. I just don't like that. I didn't like the brazen announcement of it. LJ, you are beautiful in every single way, no matter what they say. Words can't bring you down. By they, we mean Sienna and Lauren. Yes. Thank you. No, I wasn't trying to bring her down. Why are you wearing a t-shirt right now that says, I was trying to bring LJ down? I didn't want her head to get too big. Got it. Too late. Oh, my head is small. Perfect size. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Thank you, LJ. We love you. You know what I've got to say? My head is small. Okay. Are you married? I am married, but my head is very small. Your husband is very small. What's your husband's head? My husband is the sweetest man on the planet, and my head is actually very small. The only reason I say I'm beautiful is because he tells me I'm beautiful. Wait, wait, wait. That's not the only reason. You also said that you're a model. I am a model, but you know what? I don't feel like I should be. Let me ask you a question. Have you ever modeled for a print ad?
Absolutely. My model agency is Ford. I've been modeling for all sorts of things, but every time I do it, I feel like an idiot. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. What magazines have you appeared in? I couldn't tell you. EBW. EBW. Eskimo Blue Waters Magazine. Go ahead. Before I got smaller. And then L and... I've done a few others. I don't pay you that much attention because, like I said... I understand. I feel really, really, really... I understand. I understand. I understand. I understand. I understand. LJ, where were you recruited by Ford Modeling Agency? In Phoenix. Yes. So the local office of Ford Modeling Agency in Phoenix? Yeah. They found me and they said, we need you. And I said...
You gotta be kidding. And they said, no, really, we need you. And I said, okay, laughing. And I still, to this day, feel like an absolute idiot for modeling. But you know what? In defense to you, so do I. Why was it the first thing you said when you called him then? Because it was a point about... Because I'm told that the first thing I should ever say is that I'm beautiful. Got it. If they say I'm pretty, I have to... They said that in orientation. Got it. For Ford modeling. All right. Thank you. Okay. But the thing is, if they say I'm crazy, it's a bit of back in the way. Oh, boy. That was something. Can we talk about controversy? How about this restaurant in Pennsylvania that decided to ban kids under six years old? That's next. This is the Mikey Show on FM 94.9. This is the FM 94.9. What was the word of the day? That is correct. Well done, my friend. Well done. You are going to the L.A. Coliseum to see L.A. Rising, Rage Against the Machine, Mews. Rise Against and Ms. Lauren Hill. Hang on the line, bro. I didn't really care for that muse, by the way, Mike. Meow. Meow. It's a Monday. It's a Monday muse. Meow. Meow. There you go. Sienna, tell me about this restaurant in Pennsylvania. See if this will kick anybody. Well, it's the McDain's Restaurant and Golf Center, and they have a new policy which is going to be taking effect July 16th, and they say that...
With young kids under the age of six, you can't really control them and their volume. Babies will cry. You can't stop it. And so in order to keep control of the volume, no children under the age of six will be permitted inside McDain's Restaurant and Golf Center. Anybody got a problem with that? Yes. Sure. Yeah. What's your problem? You can't bring children to a restaurant? Adults only? We have a key party there? No, they're loud. So what? They're children. The kids. Wait a minute. You're going to kick them off buses and stuff, too? I thought you said that this was... What? This isn't just a restaurant. You said it's what? It's a restaurant. I thought you said it was like... And golf center. Like kiddie golf? It's... No. It says McDane's Restaurant and Golf Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. So, like... Sounds like a... Country club or something? Like a posh place. Mm-hmm. Posh. A golf... A golf... Center? Yeah, I don't think so. I don't understand. It's not a country... Yeah, it's not a country club, because...
It's not that. They don't call it a golf center. What the hell is a golf center? Maybe it's a driving range, maybe? Maybe it's a public golf course. Better not be a putt-putt place, because that'd be ridiculous. I could understand if they had an area where they put families in, you know, like a part of the restaurant that's away from everything else, but not to ban them completely. Why? Because you want to be able to take your kids wherever you go. Can't go to McDain's. Can't take your kids. What do you mean, happy birthday? It's a right. What are you, filming adult videos there? No! But if you're a restaurant, you're allowed to make your rules. Sure you are. You can't discriminate against a race or something. You can't discriminate against, like, sexuality. But if you want to create an environment that is like, you know, where there's no screaming kids. Adults only. No screaming kids. It's not adults only because you could have an 8-year-old. It happens all the time. They have 18 and over clubs. They've got, you know, movie theaters. How dare they? Hey, listen. I get a club. I don't want to take my six-year-old out dancing. What if you want to go eat, though, Jay, and you just don't want to have crying around? You don't go to McDane's. Don't go to McDane's. The restaurant doesn't want to pay for high chairs and kids' menus. Happy birthday to them. How about the restaurant doesn't want crying kids for their patrons? Weak.
I'm never going to go there. I'm never going to go there anyway since it's Pennsylvania. But I wouldn't go there just because of that. Great. You know who would go there? People that hate kids. People that hate kids. They like the sound of silence. People that hate kids. People that don't like the sound of a screaming child. Better not walk out in public then. Better not fly. How much screaming has to be happening there for you to ban it? Like, really? They got together. A baby cries every once in a while. Freaking kids screaming in here left and right. We got to do something. Let's change the policy. You guys all act. Oh, Jay. Way too soon. Too soon. You guys all act like you've never been like, oh my gosh, will they shut that kid up? Never. Haven't. Liar. Oh, my God. Doesn't bother me on planes. Doesn't bother me in a restaurant. Liar. On a plane, I feel sorry because the kids' ears are hurting them. I feel sorry for them because we have hearts. Right. You. We have blood coursing through our veins. Woods is a liar. No, I'm not. No. Let's listen to this. Probably have to have a stupid ad first, but hopefully not. I'm all in. And I have a kid. I have kids.
I can understand that everybody doesn't want to listen to Luke and Ryan screaming at the top of their lungs. I get that. I understand that. It does, too. You're a human. I've been to your house plenty of times. They've been screaming. It doesn't bother me one bit. First of all, you haven't been to my house plenty of times. Well, you can't control their volume. That says a Pennsylvania restaurant owner, and that is why he recently banned kids under the age of six from his business. We talked with local restaurants to get their take and also checked in with a Carolina restaurant that doesn't allow a certain type of child. If your children are under six years of age, they will not be dining at McDane's Restaurant and Golf Center in Monroeville, a western Pennsylvania town. The owner, a man named Mike Wick, says there's nothing wrong with babies. Mike Vick? Really? Mike Vick? Might as well be. Might as well be. Can't control their volume. He says all that screaming and crying disturbs many of his customers. Well, yeah, if they're human. The sound of a baby crying is pretty... Annoying when you're trying to eat. It's very sweet. It's awesome. It's nice. Just put him in a corral out back. Yeah, you should. Just like maybe a barn or something. Get a babysitter if you want to go to an adult-only restaurant. Maybe get a babysitter. No. Adults only. You have to do what I want. No, you don't. They're a child, not an animal. There's plenty of other places.
Yes. Yeah, but I wanted McDane's. They make a hell of an omelet, and now I can't have it. Got a Chuck E. Cheese. Got a hell of a pizza. Because their owner's a Nazi, so I can't go there. My kid loves the grilled cheese. Yeah, can't go to McDane's. If you can afford to go out to eat, you can afford a babysitter. We can't go to McDane's tonight. No, we'll just force our kid to cry. Our kid may cry. You know what? He may cry. We're not sure, though. He may. No, he will. He might. He's a child. Well, he might. He's a child. He might. He's going to cry. Maybe. Be sure to bring the ID for our six-year-old, too. They're going to card him at the door. What are you, six? Oh, he's five. He can't come. Oh, you're seven. Okay, you're good. Hold on, hold on. What's the address on here? It's a seven-year-old. What is he going to do? JL admit. You got to be this tall to eat, Mikey. The ban goes into effect July 16th. It also has to do with what type of clientele you're going after. Pornographers. Really? Because you don't want a crying baby. Your clientele... Don't fist pump. Your clientele is pornographer's woods. Apparently. Shooting videos in there. Yeah, Hugh Hefner. ...is the general manager at Bricks in Uptown. He says his restaurant is known for being kid-friendly, and he can't imagine turning their... Wonderful. Go in there and hear the sound of crying babies, because you don't get it enough at home.
You just want to hear it. You just want to hear it all the time. Just put them away until they're 18. Oh, my gosh. You guys are ridiculous. How often do you go to a restaurant and you're like, oh, gosh, you're crying. I got to go. Pay the check. We got to get out of here. This is awful. This is unbelievable. What's wrong with having an adult-only place to eat? Go to a bar. 21 and up. This is a restaurant. Maybe I just want to eat in peace. I don't know. Eat at your house, though. Yeah. Really? So you walk in the door with your family, and you're like, oh, this is going to be great. Oh, wait. McDain's. McDain's, it says six and under, not welcome. Not welcome. Oh, we got to go. We got an incident. We got to go get back in the car. We got an incident. Really? It's weak. We got an incident. It's weak. They should put it out on the sign real big. Six-year-olds. No kids allowed. Six and under, not allowed. Yeah. Wow, that sounds real friendly. Adult dining. Adult dining. Oh, adult dining. You dine nude. So now seven-year-olds are adults? Oh, I think it sounds... It's going to sound lame to say it this way. I have to rephrase it. I think it sounds... Did Chris just fall down? Chris is drumming out here, I think. It's refreshing. Peace. I don't want to subject people to my kids crying anyway. I go into a place, my kids start crying, I'm like, oh no, gosh, where that parent? What do you do? You take them out, you settle them down, you bring them back inside. No, you don't.
What do you mean, no, you don't? No, you don't. I mean, you don't. The truth of the matter is that people don't. Their kid cries, and what they do is they try to pacify them. No way. So is every parent that gets a babysitter a monster? No. Because they want to leave their kids at home? No, because they want to spend time together. But if they want to go to a family dinner... You want to be able to take your family with you. I don't want to go to Chuck E. Cheese. I want to go to McDain's. There's plenty. We don't want your kind. We don't want your kind. Now that you told me I can't go to McDain's, what do you think I want more than anything? McDain's. Order out. And don't come in here with your infant. Kick you right out. All of a sudden all restaurants go, okay, six and under, not welcome. Well, then they'll lose money. That's right. But now I can't go out. I'm being, you know. You ready for name that tune? Yes. What's the? Well, first of all, let's have people pick. M1 Steve from San Diego. Who do you want? I hate McDade. All right. I hate McDade. I'm never going to go there again. M1 Trussells from Encinitas. Who do you want? OP-Dub. OP-Dub. M1 Lisa from Lakeside. Who do you want? Me. Yo. Finally, M1 Detail from San Diego. Oh, Gideon. Yeah, me too. All right. Now, the theme, Jay. It's fantasy. Oh, boy.
And is it songs? It's songs with fantasy, make-believe, imagination. Okay, do we get to give you just the name of the song? You can go either or. Okay, either or. Title or art. Title or art. And we're playing for a pair of tickets to the ultimate opening day VIP party at the Delmar Theraboy. Wow. He's got a hard time now. He's got a hard time. Thoroughbred club. July 20th. Theraboy. I saw it happen live. It's rough. Here we go. Here we go. Mikey. Aldo Nova. Wow. What the? You are a stud. Never heard of it. Figured. What? Billy Idol. All right. Here we go. Mikey. Billy Joel. Any of these from the year I was born? Oh, wow. Or after. You know, born in 85. Here we go. Just my imagination. Mikey. The Sundays? What?
Woods. Cranberries? What? Mikey three, Woods two. Here we go. Woods. Woods. Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones were covering just my imagination? Mm-hmm. Disturbed. You don't know that band? I know the band. I just, you know. That's where they're hit. What's the score, Sienna? What's it called? Believe. You and Mikey are tied with three. Oh. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Here we go. Lauren. Taylor Swift. Lauren. Lauren. Mariah Carey. Dang it. Dang it. On fire. Okay, we have two left. What's the score? Mikey Woods, three. Lauren, two. So we'll make both of these two pointers. Mikey. Oh, damn it. 38 special. Yep. What the F? I can tie. I can tie. Here we go. This is a tough one. MGMT. Wow. No way I was going to.
Mikey and Woods tied. Tied. We got two winners. Oh, look at that. Hello. Hello, Mama Sienna. I got that right. You did not get one, Sienna? No. It's okay. M1 Steve? Yep. You are a winner. And M1 Trestles? All right. You're a winner, too. Beautiful. Hang on the line, you lovebirds. Wow. Look who's talking. That's right. You got that right. you guys are out on a restaurant that would just offer you peace and quiet. I can't believe that. I'm not out. I'm in this restaurant I've ever heard of. So when my fake kid cries, I'll just make sure to take him. Don't bring him to Mikey's house. He's not welcome. No. Because Mike needs peace and quiet. You get my fake child.
If I had one. Boy, what I would do to hear the screams of a little baby. Stop it. You'll have one. God, that would be amazing. It hurts bad. If anyone knows anyone. Yeah, man. If I could hear that, it would be just so special for my wife, Jamie, and I. You're devastated. We're unable to have children. You'll be able to. One day. One day you will. God, to hear those screams would be just amazing. It brings tears to my heart. Pit in the stomach. Pit in the stomach. Pit in the stomach. Not getting me. Would just be incredible. What that would sound like. L.O.B. incredulously looks at you and goes, I ain't falling for it, pal. You ain't getting me this time. It's a true statement. He's hurting. It hurts. I mean, it hurts. I don't deny that. There's a 700-pound woman that's making a career out of eating. Mikey. Mikey Wood. Preemptive. Wood, Mikey. Wood. Okay, brace yourselves. Donna Simpson. She's a single mom. She has a four-year-old daughter. She lives in New Jersey. She weighs 700 pounds and is trying to gain an additional 300 pounds so that she can claim and hold the Guinness World Records title of world's most obese woman. She says, Donna Simpson, that she couldn't do it without the help of her four-year-old daughter who shops with her, helps her prepare her food, feeds her.
so that she can gain the weight she needs to be the world's most obese woman. This is Story of the J. Liquid straight news of the day. Jay just threw his head back like, really? Story of the J is where we force our producer, Jay, who does not do any sort of voices, to do voices. And now, on the line with us, is the 700-pound woman trying to break... What's your name, ma'am? Due to a multi-vehicle accident, you're backed up to Mesa College Drive. That center lane is blocked until further notice. All right, we got the story coming up here in just a second of the father that climbed into the well to save his three-year-old son. And we also have live in July with a live studio. Sienna, what's going on in the news? Well, 15 states are now under heat advisories, which means temperatures are expected to exceed 105 degrees Fahrenheit. Kansas City, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, a bunch more. But, oh, this heat's getting crazy. Also, a Texas woman just gave birth to a 16-pound baby. How do you do that? I don't know. It's all over the news. You see this baby. It looks like it's seven months old.
I'm not kidding you. Not only does it look like a seven-month-old, the baby looks like a Japanese sumo wrestler. That's a true statement. The average size of a newborn is around seven and a half pounds. This baby is 16 pounds. Sage is 10 months old, and she's 20 pounds. Now, legitimate questions. You're a mom. Is that because mom was not eating healthy? Yeah, the mom had the just... the diabetes during pregnancy, gestational diabetes. Yeah. And so they think that that contributed to the baby's size. Obviously a cesarean section. I hope. They said when they pulled the baby out, they could tell that he was huge. Only Jay would give a creepy laugh at that story. Oh, wow. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Big baby. Thank you. Going for your record, Mikey. All right. Oh, boy. Woods, what's going on in sports? Tonight is one of the best nights. And if you're a baseball fan, it's the Home Run Derby. It starts at 5 p.m. David Ortiz from the Red Sox and the Brewers' Prince Fielder are captains. And you'll get to see old Padre Adrian Gonzalez trying to hit some bombs for the American League. So it's American against National, and it goes off at 5 tonight. And also, oh, Jared Weaver will be the starting pitcher for the American League. And as you know, or maybe you don't know, the winner of the All-Star Game...
That league gets home field advantage in the playoffs. Here's Jared Weaver. I'm going to go out there and treat it just like a normal game. I'm not going to think that it's exhibition or anything like that. I'm going to go out there and try to win and battle as much as possible. There you go. It's tonight. All right, so Sienna, tell me about the dad that saved the kid. Yeah. This happened in Ohio in Stark County. And basically there was a little boy, three years old, that was jumping on some rotted plywood, which was on top of a well. Always a good place for a child to play. And fell through 40 feet down. There was water in the well, so the little boy was down there having a hard time swimming. The dad put a ladder down, but the little boy couldn't grab the ladder, so the dad actually climbed down the well to be with him. And then firefighters came, and they got the little boy out, but the dad actually climbed out the well himself. What are you doing down there? Just playing on that plywood that you left. I didn't leave it there for you to be playing on it. You shouldn't be playing on it. I'm three years old.
Oh, right. Can you get me out? Is now the best time for the lecture, Dad? As good a time as any. You ain't going nowhere, are you? Nope. All right, well, can I give you a bologna or some sandwich or something? I mean, yeah, I'll eat a sandwich if we're going to eat. I'm hungry. I've been in this well. How long have you been down there? About four hours. Learned a lesson yet? Yeah, I learned a lesson. I've skinned my knee. I'm in this gross well water. All right, well, what do you want me to do about it? I want you to get me the hell out of here. Well, I'm going to surf. You're going to go surf now? I'm going to surf now. You're going to leave me here. Yep. And then I'm going to go down to some vegetarian restaurant and eat myself. Well, I'm going to go down to some vegetarian restaurant, panhandle, and then get myself a sandwich. Are you going to bring me anything? Because I'm starving. I told you I'm going to lower down some bologna. But we don't even eat bologna. That's a true statement, too. Where did you get it? Did you get it from the office? I panhandled, then I got it from the office. You stole more food from the office? That's right. That's right. All I do, I do two things real good. One, I surf. Two, I can make about 100 hush puppies in an hour. What about skate? I make love. Yeah, I know that. Well. Yeah, that's just what mom says. That's right. That's what mom says. And then the other thing I do well is conserve money. That's why I panhandle and send bologna down. Well, yeah, because it's usually me that you have stealing the money and sandwiches and bologna for you. You want to come up?
Well, yeah. Maybe button that lip, you come up. All right, I will. That's what it might have sounded like. Could have happened that way. Clowns. J.C. Dugard was held captive for 18 years. Finally, they discovered her. She was let out. Not before she had had a child. Two. Two kids? Yeah. At the hands of her captor. She was on ABC's primetime with Diane Sawyer talking about all kinds of things, the living conditions. And here she is talking about protecting the girl. He tells her the demon angels, those voices he hears, had let him take her because she will help him with his sexual problems. And again, this is a convicted sex offender still in the care of court mandated doctors. He had one appointment three days before he kidnapped JC and another appointment four days after. But he tells her society has ignored him and that's why she is there. That's what I was here for. Yeah, that's why he got me. And if you do it, you would keep other little girls safe? Yeah, he was always, yeah, protect other people. So he didn't have to go out and do this to anybody else. Did you believe that you were protecting other little girls? I think I did.
I think on some level I did, yeah. There's just not a sentence harsh enough for that guy. There's nothing, I mean, there's just not a sentence harsh enough. Oh, terrible. That'll work. Real good. Let's see. Here she is talking about how she coped with the situation. How did you stay sane? I don't know. I was still alive. I was still... There is still hope. Still hope. I can't imagine how you are coping. I'm trying to imagine. I don't know. We said this last week because we played that clip. I said it is possible to be too gentle in your tonality. In my opinion, Diane Sawyer is being too gentle with her voice there. Speak up. I'm trying to imagine. I can't hear you.
You can go ahead and just ask it the normal way. I'm trying. Yeah, you go ahead. I'm fine. I'm fine now. What? I've got my kids and, you know, it sucks. But, you know, you wake up and you just get through life. Please, continue. I'm trying to imagine how you are coping. I'm trying to imagine. I don't know. I can't imagine being beaten to death, you know. But, and you can't imagine. being kidnapped and raped, you know? So it's just, you just do what you have to do to survive. She's a hero. For sure. She's a hero. Last month, a judge sentenced her kidnapper to 431 years in prison. Wow. I think they should double it. It's not long enough, yeah. 800 years. His wife, who assisted in all of this as well, got 36 years to life in prison. Wow. Yeah. Tell me if you can relate to this, guys. Sienna writes,
In her recap, her husband Todd and her have an ongoing argument every night about chips. Yes. He loves eating an after dinner snack before he goes to sleep in your bed. That snack always consists of chips. Cheez-Its, pretzels, chips. Now, Sienna calls these the loudest foods known to man. Yes. He says they aren't loud at all and that she is exaggerating. Sienna says the bag itself is loud enough to wake Sage, who is in a different room. Which, by the way, is an overreaction. No, not an overreaction.
It was so loud the other night. I actually ripped the bag from his hands, walked back into the kitchen, and I said, I'm going to get you a quiet food. And I brought him a plate of cheese. A quiet food. Cheese. That was an overreaction. You tell your husband that his chips are going to wake the baby? They're annoying me. And the bag is so loud. Let's play with that bag of chips. I'm trying to settle down and go to sleep, and I hear it. It will wake the baby. It's that loud. Hey, baby, have you seen this, Friends? This is one of my favorites. He makes some other loud noises that he does with his body while eating chips that are equally as loud. Oh. Wait. Yes. He'll eat chips and fart? Yes. All the time. Interesting combo.
I need to record this for you guys because it's out of control. If I did that... A gorilla. If I did that... I married a gorilla. If I did that, my wife would call the police. She would call the police. Oh, my God. No, he's really bad. I will wake up. I've been known to wake up in the middle of the night and look over and see a blonde woman. Yeah. With big giant headphones on. Because she doesn't want to wake me up. She wears headphones. Because she doesn't want to wake me up with the TV. However. What she's not afraid will wake me up. Playing watching Twilight. The crumbs in the bed. That's never an issue. Somehow he doesn't get crumbs in there. So I'm fine. But I don't know.
The noise, he's always done it. But recently, it's driven me completely insane. And every night, I know it's coming. It's coming. Stay cool. He's going to bring the chips in. Woods, that's called a peccadillo, right? That's a little peccadillo. A peccadillo is the little things that your spouse does that drive you kind of crazy. That's not little. It's one of those things where... The way I also describe it is if it didn't happen, you'd be sad because it's what makes Todd yours. You know what I mean? Maybe. No, that maybe that you just said actually meant no woods. You're 100% wrong. If he were gone, that's not one of the things that I would miss about him. The chips I wouldn't miss, but the loud farts. You'd miss. I would miss. Wow. I think you'd miss the chips. That's so loud. I'm going to record it. I have to record it. Please record it. I will. You won't believe it. You won't believe it. How could you miss that? Because they're so loud and remarkable that only my husband can reach those volumes.
I'll take the Pepsi challenge with Todd any day. No, he had a friend staying with us this weekend. And Todd will let it rip right in front of his friend. And he was like, dude, there's something wrong with you. I'm so different than that. I'm so different. In fact, if I happen to fart in our bedroom, I will air the room out, spray. You know, I don't want her to know. Open a thing of eggs to try to cover it up. It's just these hard-boiled eggs, man. Harbled eggs in bed. Oh, that's filthy. That's so awful. Yeah, it's not weird that I'm eating deviled eggs right now. It's no big deal. I'm starving. It's the dog. It was just the dog. We don't have a dog. Oh, yeah. The cat. It was a cat that ate a dog. Woods was just over here. 570-1949 is our number. And, yeah, you can call us if you have somebody. What does your spouse do? in bed that drives you crazy. Mine just kicks and just, she just will not get settled. Last night I go, babe, settle down. I'm trying to go to sleep. And I sleep in one spot, like perfect, just still. And she covers everywhere. I'm like, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. That would drive me nuts. Please stop moving. First of all, my wife doesn't sleep under the covers. So crazy. So annoying. It's so strange.
Why is that exactly? She doesn't like her feet to be covered. How does she stay warm? She has a little blanket. Does she wear socks? She lays on top of the bed and covers herself with a blanket. Sleeps. Doesn't get in bed. No. And you're like trying to like pull the covers and she's on top of them. She makes sure that I have plenty of covers. We've got some slack. I have all these covers. In case you want to roll, you're not like, oh, oh. So you never feel like her feet or anything under the sheets? No. No. Why don't you just not tuck in the blanket in the sheet so it's the same thing as what she's doing? Why did he say? Just don't tuck in the sheets on your bed. Yeah. That's what psychopaths do. Psychopaths, they don't tuck it in. It's psychotic. When you make love, Mike, do you leave the sheet in between you? That's what I said. So, Rebecca leaves a sheet between y'all when you're making love. I get it. Is that because... I get it. Is that because she don't want to look at you? She don't want to feel you. She don't want to feel your body. Listen, Mike. She wants everything she can have to not remind herself that y'all are making love. She'd rather make love with a blanket. Yeah. If she could,
She would put Montana between the two. But all she has is blankets. Is a blanket. Little old blanket. That's all she can do. All she can do to make herself forget. It's either that or Jack Daniels. 570-1949. Jake still sleeps in our bed until September. And he's four. He's going to be five. But he's the size of a 14-year-old child. 14-year-old boy. So I'll wake up, his foot's in my mouth, you know. He goes under the covers? He's all over. He moves around. Would drive me insane. Oh, he'll headbutt me. I'll be asleep and, oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, wow. What was that? He headbutts. He'll, you know, he flops around. Do you tell him? Settle down. You need to lay next to dad and go to sleep. No, because he's asleep. It won't make sense. He's just flailing. Little kids flail. Big flail. He turns around. They grow in the middle of the night. Rebecca's the opposite. She will fall asleep in one position. You wake up the next day, she's in the same position. I can do that. Jasper and Kim both do the leaving thing. They're like, gotta get out of here.
And I have to actually hold on to them. I'm like, okay. What? They try to get out of bed. When they're dreaming? Yeah, they're dreaming. Like Kim's thing is she always thinks something's falling on her. She's like, get out. She's trying to drag me by my hair out of bed. Oh, my gosh. And I'm just holding on to her going, she's going to hurt herself. Oh, my gosh. So Jasper's now started it. The other time he woke up, though, and he went, he full on went, he sat up, he went, whap. He slapped me up in the face. Oh, my gosh. And he's like, yeah. I lay back down. I'm like, whoop. Kim's got this new thing. She sticks a pistol in my mouth. Well, that's only when we're making love. That's no big deal. She takes the clip out. So it ain't weird. Stuff we don't like or stuff we didn't. It's hard to get it in because of my ball gag, though. That's the thing. We got into an argument the other day. I said, babe. You can't be leaving that clip in when you put the pistol in my mouth. It ain't funny. It ain't fair. And it just ain't responsive. It's a little scary. It's kind of. But kind of titillating, too. Hey, listen. I ain't going to lie. I guess a ticker going. I kind of like to taste the metal now. It's weird. I find myself chewing on forks in the middle of the afternoon. I can't help it. I can't help it. The other day, I woke up.
And I'll be damned she didn't have a 12-gauge in my mouth. A double-barreled 12-gauge. And I said, baby, baby, if somebody's taking a 12-gauge in my mouth, why would I make it laugh? I can't do it. Oh, my God. I didn't say it was an excitement. I'm just saying I didn't like it. I'm just saying it was uncomfortable. Oh, my God. M1, Leah from El Cajon, you there? Yeah, I'm here. What does your husband do? He chews in his sleep, and I swear it sounds like he's chewing rocks. Like he's like... Grind his teeth? Yeah, but it's like loud. And the other thing you were talking about... No, no, no. If it sounds like he's chewing on rocks, seriously, that's teeth grinding. That's teeth. He's grinding his teeth. Does he get headaches? I'll watch him and his mouth actually opens and closes. Yeah. Oh, it's terrible. And then my daughter, she's almost three. She sleeps in bed with us. And she moves all over the bed. But when she moves, she will get up. Her eyes are still closed. She will slam her head down on top of mine and go...
And just, like, sleep. And even when I move on the bed, she follows me and slams her head on mine. Oh, my God. It's the worst. You're going to wear a helmet. It's the worst. Thank you for the call. Thank you for the call. M1, is it Gianna? It's Gina. Gina from La Mesa. Yeah. My husband does the exact same thing with the loud food at night. Oh, sorry. It drives me crazy. I kind of tune it out, you know. It is loud. To me, it's like white noise. You can't tune that out. You can't? Since Sage was born. He'll come in and I'm watching something, I'm relaxing, and I have to turn up the volume to drown it out. I can tune out chips way before I can tune out Grey's Anatomy. It's the bag and it's Triscuit. It's the Triscuit. It's the miracle. All dry. I totally feel you, girl. It's the same way. Yeah. First of all, first of all. What? My main problem is that he's eating Triscuits. They're delicious. They are delicious. Triscuits are addictive. Triscuits. Why? Triscuits are like that breakfast. Shredded wheat. Yeah, like shredded wheat. They're good. They have different flavors. You know who eats those? Lunatics. Yeah, lunatics. Triscuits. In a loony bin. All those things to choose from, you're like.
I'm going to go with those Triscuits. My parents will be out of everything in the house, but they'll have plenty of gravy and plenty of Triscuits. That's it. Yep. Wait, wait, wait. Gravy. You mean... actual gravy or do you mean like well they have the they have a whole entire cabinet uh that's dedicated to pasta and pasta sauce so that's you know that's a given but they've got an entire shelf of uh chicken gravy beef gravy turkey gravy how often do you eat gravy one time a year i don't know enough to have a shelf full of it how great are the parents this is what you call them costco parents yeah every parent is everybody that's got a mom and dad have as a Costco parent. Meaning they have a pantry at their house and all that's in it is 50,000 boxes of pasta. My dad said to me the other day, he was so, my dad sounded like he just won the lottery. I said, what's going on? They just opened a new Costco in San Marcos. I said, really? Yes. And your mother and I went and got
toilet paper and your mom, I asked her, do you want a hot dog? She said, no, I want a sandwich. So I got her a sandwich and I got one of those sausages. You know, is that right, dad? No way. No way. And I thought it's, you know what it is? I did the same thing to him when I was 12 years old. I used to say to him, and then I did this and then I did this and then I did this. He was patient. He sat there and listened to the whole thing. My dad has 48 cans of tuna in their garage, along with 17 boxes of garbage bags. All set. 400 rolls of toilet paper. 700 cans of tomato sauce. When my parents pass away, we're going to open a grocery store at some point. I'll take it, Mike. Don't give it away. I'll give that stuff away, Mike.
Hey, thank you to Jersey Mike's. They brought in some food for all of us today. It's live in July. Make some noise. All month long in July, we are broadcasting. And that means you can come in here on the 9 o'clock hour. My wife is listening today, and she's like, all right, so you threw me under the bus on the chips. Are you really going to throw me under the bus on this next one? Darling, it's simply relatable. Everybody listening right now can relate. That's why. That's why. Call 570-1949. Hey, Jack, I'm trying to remember the name of one of your new sandwiches. It's so good. Which one? Well, it's a really big... The really big... Yeah, it's got chicken... The really big chicken sandwich. Exactly. What's it called?
The Really Big Chicken Sandwich. Look, I know it's really big and has chicken and is a sandwich. I covered those details earlier. It's called The Really Big Chicken Sandwich. It's got two crispy chicken patties, bacon, melting cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I'm aware of the ingredients. They were in my mouth very recently ago. Just tell me the name. The Really Big Chicken Sandwich. Right now, you can get it as a combo with seasoned curly fries and a drink for just $3.99 plus tax. It appears we're at a stalemate. I'm being hassled because I'm behind on my bills since I got laid off. What should I do? When that happened to me, you know what I did? I called the Clinger Law Center and filed for bankruptcy. They put me completely at ease and stopped creditors from harassing me. The Clinger Law Center, huh? You wouldn't still have their number, would you? Yeah. 619-516-1601. 619-516-

And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. I wouldn't like it. I'm not very attractive. Lauren. When I was in college, that was like my MO. I would get drunk and steal random stuff. Woods. Oh, I want filth. I want straight filth as filthy as it can get. Sienna. Mine are always crying. I'm a crier. And Jay. I have a pond. I built a pond in my yard. On FM 94.9. It's our friend Jared's website, and he does web design. He does business cards. He does logos. I'm going to ask him to do a birthday invitation for me. Oh, he's going to do it. He did that for us.
They're great. So I'm going to tell you this story. And when I tell this story, I know that Jay is going to jump in and he's going to say, It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. Identical. I know. Identical Jay. But I want to know. If anybody ever has their spouse, ask them to do something that makes them very uncomfortable. And you may even do it, but you're uncomfortable doing it. Here's what I mean. I was backing out of our garage and ran over Jake's scooter and the wheel broke off. And Rebecca wrote me an email and said, can Jay fix Jake's scooter?
Because she knows that Jay is like a fix-it guy. Right. I would love to. Okay. Didn't I say. It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. I would love to. Anything for Rebecca. You can't do it. You don't have the kind of skill. I'm a real man. I'm a man. That's what men do. Men fix things, Mike. You're not a man. I am. Let me know when she wants me to stop by. Actually, have her text me like she always does. Just drop by. Just don't have her text me before 3 a.m. like usual. But it's not in Jay's job description to fix Jake's scooter. But I like it. Great. He cleans all your robes, though. Pulls out your chair for you. He emails you when Tommy Obama's having a sale. Yes, he does that. Put your wheelbarrow together. Put your wheelbarrow together. Him and Woods carry you in every morning. That's a true statement. Is that in your contract? He washes your car every Sunday. None of these things are true. A couple of them are. None of them are. The chair. He pulls your chair out. I hate your food. He does Porsche control for you. Porsche control. He did do Porsche control. It's humiliating to me that the last two things were true. He doesn't.
He does heat my food and he does do portion control for me. I mean, somebody's got a happy outfit. Like a fat dog. Like your eight-year-old dog that's fat and you have to get it to lose weight. You portion control. They're like, hello. I feed you what I feed bear. But it's like one of those deals where your spouse is like, hey, honey. can you go over to the next door neighbor and ask them to get their dog to stop barking? And you're like, sure. Because you want to seem like a man. Right. So you're like, yeah, sure. Hello? Uh, never mind. That's what I thought you were going to say. Get the hell out of here. I have to call and make Todd's appointments for his hair. Because he doesn't want to do it. He's embarrassed. But I'm mortified to have to make the call because the girl always says, oh, when are you coming in? And I have to say, oh, no, it's actually for my husband. And then I know they're thinking, well, what's wrong with your husband that he can't call? Because it's hand broken? Yeah, it's embarrassing. I don't like to pick my prescriptions up. What? Nobody does. I like Rebecca to do that. What? I write her a CVS email every couple months. Oh.
Wow. Makes me feel loved when she gets my prescriptions. That old bit makes me feel loved. Oh, the old prescription makes me feel loved. Can you go to the DMV for me, babe? No. Is she picking up your Vagisil? Oh. You know. Wow. It makes me a girl because I ask her to do something loving for me. Hey, I'm going to go grocery shopping for her today. See? What are you picking up? A lot. Food for yourself or food for family? She sent you an email? Uh-huh. Do you guys ever, like, talk? Oh, wow. CVS email. Grocery store email.
Boneless, skinless, chicken tender, stir-fry size if they have it, regular white bread, strawberries, two green bell peppers, two bunches of organic, weird, yellow bananas, one yellow onion, one package of celery, spicy smoked sausage, two bunches of green onions, chicken thighs, three packages of Earth's Best Organic Frozen Blueberry Mini Waffles, weird. Henry's Fresh Fruit, cut in a container, various kinds of melon, cantaloupe, and honeydew. Sorry, go back to where you said melon. Did you say melon? Back up. Did you say honeydew, Mike? Can you just say teas? Italian sausage. You say sausage. Say bell peppers one more time. Yeah, certain things you want, but your spouse will ask you to do stuff. It's embarrassing. You feel embarrassed. How about this? Can you, when you go to work today, will you try to get people at work to buy Girl Scout cookies for Melissa? Sure, babe. Sure, I will. Sure. I'll walk up to my boss and emasculate myself by asking if they'd like to buy Thin Mints. And I'll, yes, I remember to tell them that if they don't want them,
They can send them to the troops. Oh, okay. I am diabetic, so I'm going to skip out on the Samoas, Mike. But I will. Sure, I'll take that suggestion. Maybe you think the troops would like some thin men? Absolutely. Troops in particular or just any old? The troops. You know what? The troops. Should I address it to someone? Ms. O'Brien, don't even worry about it. It's my wife's idea. Oh, come on. It's your daughter. I have to. Just go to thetroops.com. Do it that way. Just do it that way. When we come back, I'm going to tell you something that I heard in the elevator yesterday. I didn't say it, but I did ponder it, and I want you to ponder it when we come back. And don't get upset. Oh, no. Oh, boy. Don't freak out. 94.9.

I was in the elevator on Friday. And there were two gentlemen in suits. They work somewhere in our building. We were going downstairs. And one of the gentlemen said to the other. You realize that all women need some sort of drama in their life. And I thought, well, that's a very chauvinistic thing to say. And the other one sort of cavemanish one. And then I thought, well, I'm not just going to dismiss that. I'm going to actually consider it. I'm going to think about it. Now, obviously, you can't say all for any gender. You can't say all men think this.
You can't say all women think this, but I'm asking you to generalize. There are exceptions, but I'm asking you to generalize and ask yourself, in general, do women desire some sort of drama in their life in general? Woods, sure. Uh-uh. Don't you play this game with me. If you're going to say it, don't you say it. Dot, dot, dot, question mark. Or don't say it like, okay, sure, Mike, I'll take one for the team. Yeah, of course it's true. Of course it is. I think it could be true. I'm going to go with the majority. I'll say the majority even. I'll even go that far and say the majority of women desire and need some drama. All right. I'll make a drastic comment. Every...
single woman okay every single woman which excludes no female meaning 100 not only am i not generalizing i am saying every single female under the age of 18 will create drama in their life we get behind under the age under the well i mean now you get then you get older yeah and now you start to lose the women that do that, and some of them don't, some of them don't, some of them don't. But every single female, cavemen, women, when they were 14 and they were cave women, and they were like, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Oh my God, did you see Amber? She's wearing that bear skin again. Oh my God. Her legs are so much hairier than everyone else. It's hideous. It's so gross. Could she have worse handwriting on the cables? She's like a...
It's like she wrote it with her clubbed feet. Did you see her gather those berries? She picked the worst ones. She was gathering those berries like this. I'm so bored. I'm so bored. I have to feed my family. Oh my God. Hi, Amber. Hi, Amber. How are you? You look so cute. You're so cute. Do you agree with that, Woods? Yes. L.O.B. Do you agree that 100% of women under the age of 18 have had drama? No. No? I think more like over the age of 18. Oh, you think it's more likely over the age of 18? Mm-hmm. Oh, my. 13 to 24 is a drama-rama. I think 13 to death. It does start to wear off. It does. My daughter, Maddie, we called her Dramaddie.
Because she was dramatic on everything. The level wears off. Dramatic? Dramatic. Oh, my gosh. She would just start stirring things up just to get drama going. It's like, who are you? Please stop. She may be saying the exact same thing about her father right now. No, I'm sure. Love you. Sienna, were you dramatic? I still am. Oh, my gosh. I don't see you as a drama mama. With certain things, I love. a good story. Like the gossip when I see friends. Gossip's different. I'm talking about drama. I'm talking about like a crisis. Women, the point that this guy was making is that women will need a crisis. They need like a thing that's like, oh my gosh, Chris Rock said it one time. He goes,
Sometimes I hear women talking and it's like I'm listening to an episode of Dynasty. You want to destroy me. Like you're a, you know, you take tickets at the movies. Nobody's going to destroy you. Like really? With my husband, absolutely. I'm very dramatic. You can be dramatic. I cry all the time. Oh, wow. Yes. I take something tiny and it turns into something huge and I end up crying and he's like, wants to kill me. Yeah. I do a thing with Rebecca. that would probably drive every woman in the world crazy when she does something that's kind of like kooky or dramatic or hormonal you ever do the thing where you look behind you yeah like me you're talking to me yeah my wife is not dramatic whatsoever really she may be the only one no drama hates drama yeah rebecca's not dramatic but every once in a while she'll be you know she'll get a hormonal moment and she'll say something that i'm like i don't know like i don't understand so i'll go
You look behind you. Clown. What? What, me? Me? You jerk. I bet she loves that. You, I would want to trip you. Yeah. It'd be funny a couple times and then. I'm a pain. I'm a pain. M1 Kevin from PB. Yeah. Go ahead. You're on the air. Hey, so I guess my big question, I don't mean to call him out. I think he's a great guy, but isn't Woods, doesn't he crave drama? and create drama constantly. I didn't say I didn't. I just said a lot of broads do, too. That's all I would say. Ask and answer, my friend. Well, there you go. I want to know his example. I hung up. You just, by saying broads, you create drama. I'm not, that doesn't, I'm not creating drama. You know that that fires people out. That creates chauvinists. Yeah, that's drama. M1 Sarah from Eastlake. Yeah. Go ahead. Hey, I was just going to say, I think,
I'm proud to say I've got a 14-year-old daughter who, as long as we're differentiating between gossip and drama, is a total non-drama mama. That's good. But, you know, they watch these TV shows and they think that that interpersonal relationship is the real housewives of wherever. I'm a housewife and that's not my real life. I think I can prove it. Yes. Just look at Facebook. Just take a look at your news feed on Facebook right now. Do you ever get one of these? OMG. Again? Question mark. Or sometimes I just wish that I could be left alone. Dance like no one's watching. Dance like no one's watching? They always do the dramatic quotes. Yeah, dramatic. It's always drama. Or really glad that I don't have to go home today. What's with the cryptic?
I'm crying so hard right now. I'm crying so hard right now. Yes. Who does that? You haven't seen that? No. Oh, my God. Oh, I've read that from adult people, adult humans. I must block them. Yeah, adult people. I've read it. I can't cry anymore. I'm out of tears. Oh, please. I've seen that one. Yes. I'm out of tears. I've seen it. I don't have any more. We're talking about drama mamas. When you were young, Hillary. Were you a drama mama? Look at that look. Oh, wow. No. I mean, maybe a little bit as a teenager, but I actually really avoid people that need to have drama. Yeah. And so when I was driving in listening to you say, you guys saying, all women like drama and da-da-da. Under 18. Under 18. 18 and under. All right. But L.O.B. says no. She says over 18. She thinks it's more likely. I just have to say I disagree because in my experience, my girlfriends, I surround myself with people that aren't that way. So my family's not big drama. My girlfriends are not big drama because I can't. I don't want to be. Well, yeah, yeah. I mean, they're not all. That's the deal. Like, not all men are pigs. Good. Most of them are. But I mean, not all men are pigs.
Aren't they what Seth? I'm a realist. I'm not going to sit here and lie. But under the age of 18. Yeah, yeah. I mean, yeah, I could see that. But I think that's hormonal. And I think, you know, aren't teenage boys dramatic? Not as. Well, yeah. Okay. We have one track minds at 18 and at 48. But yeah, I mean, I guess I was a little bit, but not like I didn't need it, I don't think, or want it. No. I didn't like it. Oh, I want it. What is that? I don't want it. And I need it. That's right. I need it. Come on. Hell, what do you got coming up? Help me help you. I grabbed TV on the radio. New Sublime with Rome. Recommended music from this band called The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. And then on Friday, actually, I picked a really good Desert Island Discs for today at noon. So that is coming up. There you go. Lovely and talented Hillary is coming up next. And we'll see you tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. The Mikey Show is out. We have a standing agreement with the corporate office. As long as they stay out of the music business, we'll be sure to stay out of the insurance business. Seems reasonable, right? FM 94.9. It's about the music.
