Mikey, Woods, Lauren O'Brien, and Jay mixed Woods's 36th-birthday teasing with elaborate comedy bits, including Lauren's instant Rebecca Black parody, an Oreo Chubby Bunny contest, and the story of Nick's prized Merlin shirt in Las Vegas. The crew repeatedly argued about separating beauty from behavior, first over Casey Anthony and later while reading Megan Fox's own alarming interview quotes. Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla said Casey Anthony had convincingly misled his team and that he was suing her and Jose Baez after paying her bond and searching for Kaylee. The show also covered Tyler Hadley's alleged murder-and-party case, Dylan Smith's life-saving midair backflip, lottery clerks caught stealing jackpots, and a mother accused of attacking a woman who tried to free her sons from a hot car. Even the lighter news became a debate, as the hosts weighed whether an Ohio State casket photo was affectionate tribute or terrible taste.
What happened, in order
The Casey Anthony Looks Debate
A caller challenged Mikey's habit of calling Casey Anthony beautiful, prompting the crew to argue over whether appearance can be judged separately from monstrous conduct.
Woods Turns 36
Woods marked his 36th birthday by lamenting how injuries linger with age, then admitted that testing his broken ankle in the surf lasted only two seconds before a wave hurt it again.
Murder Then a House Party
The hosts recounted how 17-year-old Tyler Hadley allegedly killed his parents with a hammer, hid their bodies in a bedroom, and invited dozens of friends to party in the house.
LOB Beats Rebecca Black
After mocking Rebecca Black's new song "My Moment," Lauren O'Brien accepted a three-minute challenge and recorded an auto-tuned bathroom song that the crew declared better.
Five Reasons Not to Date Megan Fox
The crew read Megan Fox's own blunt quotes about messiness, bodily functions, refusing restaurants and cooking, and her temper, which persuaded Mikey that beauty was not enough.
Leonard Padilla Says He Was Duped
Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla said Casey Anthony was an exceptionally convincing liar and explained why he was suing her and Jose Baez after spending money and a week searching for Kaylee.
The Ohio Casket Photo
The show debated a viral photo in which an Ohio State fan's daughter used her father's open casket as the letter I while posing out O-H-I-O, despite her family's objections.
Oreo Chubby Bunny
Mikey, Woods, Lauren, and Jay played Chubby Bunny with whole Oreos until Mikey forced in a seventh cookie and won while Jay nearly vomited.
The Four-Story Backflip
The hosts marveled at University of Kentucky cheerleader Dylan Smith surviving a four-story fall by flipping in midair and landing on his feet, though he dislocated his hip.
Merlin's Big Night in Vegas
Woods described a polished Vegas bachelor party crew being joined by Nick, who had saved a short-sleeved Merlin shirt as his best outfit for the biggest night.
Lottery Clerks Caught Cheating
Mikey recalled an undercover investigation in which dishonest lottery clerks lied about winning tickets, paid customers tiny amounts, and tried to claim the jackpots themselves.
Hot-Car Rescue Attacked
The crew discussed an Indianapolis mother who left two young sons in a sealed car on an 88-degree night and allegedly struck the woman who tried to rescue them.

Woods is 36. today, ladies and gentlemen. 36 years old. HBD. HBD, pal. Thank you. Woodsy is 36 today. And, man, seems like just yesterday you were 24 years old. Clown. Yeah? The guy in Dallas looking like Robert Downey Jr.
Living like Robert Downey Jr. Very much so. I was living that way with you. Yes, we were living that way together. Lauren O'Brien, otherwise known as LOB, is our assistant producer. And she is 30 years of age. And Jay is 48 years old. He is our executive producer. And our phone screener is Chris. Word of the day today is lemon. When you hear me say that between now and 10. Caller number nine, you will win. a sold-out single-day pair of tickets to Comic-Con for this year. It's sold out. It's a big week in San Diego. A lot of stuff starting. Comic-Con, the races, all that. My birthday. Your birthday. BFMC's birthday. Yes. When's BFMC? Friday. Is it? 30, the big 3-0. Is that right? I'm robbing the cradle. Oh, my. My dad's birthday's Thursday. Wow. Nine months ago.
Must have been a month for making babies for a lot of people. Felt real good. Guess so. Always does. Let's see. M1HB from RB. Hello, everyone. I wanted to tell Woods happy birthday. Thanks so much. That's right. Thank you. LPD. LPD. Tell all the M1s to make sure to come out to the white belt thing so they can toast him in person. That's right. It's the wipeout deal. It's a wipeout viewing party at Dave & Buster's. We're going to give away power cards. July 28th, 7 to 9 p.m. is when that thing's going to be going on. If you go to MikeyShow.com, there's a countdown for the viewing party. Nine days, 13 hours, 55 minutes, 32 seconds. Oh, boy. It's going to be great. Can't wait. We love you, Woods. Love you, too. All right, bye. All right, see ya. M1 Beaner from San Diego. How are you? All right. How about yourself, Mikey? Good. Got a bone to pick with you. Since yesterday was the late Mikey day, you know, I'm just kind of tired of how you keep saying Casey Anthony is beautiful. Like, do you really think he's beautiful? Yeah, I agree. Like, dude, this is not like every now and then. This is like every time you talk about Casey Anthony, it's got to be he's beautiful. Really?
Oh, come on. Is that true? Do I do that every time? Yes. Really? You all do, creeps. Okay. All right. Well, I can't dispute it because it's one of those things where when you get into an argument with your wife or your girlfriend, where she goes, you said four times, blah, blah, blah. And you're like, I did? And you can't really go back. And, you know, like pull the tape on everything. So I'm just going to say, all right, you're right. Maybe I do. And I can stop it a little bit. Here's the thing. Here's the reason that I do that. It's part of what made the Casey Anthony case so interesting to Americans was the fact that she was such a young, vibrant and pretty girl. Yeah. She belongs in the Lord of the Rings. Agreed. Elfin. Oh, wow. No, I didn't feel that. You know, I don't know that a person from the Lord of the Rings could even get in to a hot body contest. I don't think they could, personally. Dildo Baggins might have been able to. It's Bilbo Baggins. Oh, I thought it's Dildo Baggins. No, it is not Dildo Baggins. What about Randolph? No, it's not Randolph. It's Gandolph. You know what it is. It's Bilbo and Randolph.
But listen, my mind thinks very analytically. So for me, it's very easy to make the separation between personality and appearance. To me, they're very different. You know, I could have been a guy that said back if I were on the air during the time that somebody like Stalin were in power, I could say he's an evil monster that had exceptional hair. I could have said that. So what you're saying is he's hot. Why are you attracted to Stalin? I'm not. I'm not attracted to Stalin. That's weird, Mikey. That's a weird admission. All right. But I understand where you're coming from, and if you think it's too much, you know. Hey, maybe we just start having people write in and tell me what my thoughts and feelings should be, and then I'll just start doing that. Yeah, that's a good idea. That's a good show. You got to put a suggestion box on me. Yeah, suggestion box. Well, we got plenty of suggestions yesterday. I have a question for M1 Beaner. Is it because you honestly don't think she's attractive or is it because she's a monster? Honestly, she's not attractive. I mean, even in those party pictures that she has. Really? Do you need LASIK surgery?
Have you gone to Clearview Eye and Laser Medical Center? Maybe you should talk to Dr. Sandy T. Feldman about correcting your vision. She has some nice assets. Hey, LLB's hot. There's no question. We're not disputing that. We're not disputing that. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait a minute here. Just one minute, Beaner. All right. If your name really is Beaner. If your name is Beaner. I'll bet you that if L.O.B. did something as horrific as Casey Anthony, you would not think she's pretty anymore. No, that's different. Do whatever she wants. I think it's because she did something horrific that we're trying to say that, wow, you never expect someone even remotely good-looking to do something like that. Well, you don't. That's part of the reason that it was so interesting. You're finding her more attractive. Because of it. Oh, well, now that's. I think in spite of. That's what I mean. In spite of. Well, if I didn't know anything about. Well, wait a minute. I don't even have to say if. There was a point where I didn't know anything about the case. But they kept showing her picture on television. And I wondered, who's the good looking girl? I want to squeeze him. You know, turned out the good looking girl is a monster. A monster. A monster.
It just so happens that she was pretty, you know. Not when she took away the smoke and mirrors. When she took away the smoke, oh, you mean no makeup. The makeup. I thought the makeup made her look worse. Ooh, not me. I did, man. When they showed her with makeup on, you know, when she'd been acquitted, I thought, hey, you should take some of that stuff off. I was in on it. Really? So you guys all the way in on Alanis Morissette? No. I think she's, I do actually think Alanis Morissette's. kind of attractive. Kind of. Because that's what Casey Anthony looks like. Well, Casey Anthony looks like Alanis Morissette's better looking cousin. Yes. Like she got the better end of the jeans and poor Alanis got the voice, you know? Less of the horse face. More of the pointy ears. That was sharp and just cut right to the bone. I mean, he just... Alanis Morissette's just sitting there right now in Quebec doing nothing and comes in and... A little too ironic. I really do think. What do you think? Bulls are right over.
8 o'clock this morning, we're playing Chubby Bunny. Yes. Just call it Woods Bunny. Yeah, it's his bunny. It's his birthday, Jay. Just call it Bunny. It's the man's birthday, Jay. Chubby Bunny is where we put food one at a time into our mouth and we try to say Chubby Bunny. Last time it was marshmallows. And today it's going to be Oreos. Make it messy. L-O-B. Black and white. I have no idea if... John Foreman from Switchfoot is coming in today. I don't know. I don't know either. Was it supposed to be today? I don't know. I emailed Jeremy. I don't know. Jeremy's email was very vague. It was vague. So I don't know. It could be today. We'll find out. Opening day at the Del Mar racetrack is tomorrow. Where the surf meets the turf. And the gates are going to open at 11.30. And then the first race will be at 2.
So, it's going to be... Now, check this out, man. This is pretty cool. For somebody especially like me that likes technology. Oh, gee. Nerd. I think you guys think this is pretty sweet. Delmaris is adding this new thing. It's like a new app. It's really cool. It'll go on your phone and it'll let you bet right from your phone. Whoa. Precedent. of the Del Mar Turbo Club said, we've got a great app, so you never have to get up and get out of your seat. Perfect for you. That's amazing. Perfect for a little fatso like you, right, Matt? Stay there and eat your nachos and don't have to get up. Fat little bean dip. I know it's hard for you to get up those stairs. Just wheezing your way up there just to make a bet. We know what you're going to spend your winnings on anyway, hot dogs. Hot dogs. Hot dogs on a stick. Snacks.
How much Fritos can you buy with your winnings? Turkey legs. Turkey legs. That's right. I want tacos and burritos. Get your own Carl's Jr. franchise. You know it's true. Don't deny it. Look at me in the eyes, Chevy. Ben Harper, Weezer, Ziggy Marley, among some of the names be playing at the racetrack this year. It's big time. Four o'clock Fridays. So yeah, it's going to be pretty cool. 570-1949 is the number. Give us a call. Say hi. And what else is happening? Oh, tell me about this USC running back. Well, I think it's one of those cases where a guy may be running a little mouth he probably shouldn't have. His name is Mark Tyler. He's the running back for USC. And he was out in front of a club. He's of age. He's 22 years old. And I think he had a few cocktails because TMZ came up and said, hey, what's up, Mark? Why didn't you go to the NFL? Can you imagine? I wouldn't even know who he was. Right. And those guys are dialed in. I guess. They're dialed in. They're like, oh, look, it's the running back for USC. Well, he did have his jersey on that said Mark Tyler on the back. Yeah, okay, well, maybe that helped. No, but they walked up to him. They said, so why didn't you go to the NFL? And he goes, I make more money at USC than I could in the NFL. Now, obviously, the guy's doing a bit. Right, right. But he also made disparaging comments about Kim Kardashian and about how USC running backs get the best.
Was he drunk or something? I think he probably had a few cocktails. Yeah. And, you know, he is suspended for the first game of the year. The coach said, hey, listen, that's not the way we expect our players to represent USC and our team. He may find this punishment severe, but it's imperative we continue to have a high standard for player behavior. Boy. He's out there doing bits from a nightclub. Maybe zip it. Yeah. Today's Woodsy's birthday. Yeah. 36 years ago today. Came out kicking and screaming. You're still in your mid-30s, pal. Think of it that way. True. I'm on the down slope, bro. Yeah, but you're not in your late 30s yet. 34, 35, 36. You're in your mid-30s. I'm taking this one pretty tough. Why? I just am. I don't like getting older. Body starts to shut down a little bit. Oh, yeah, it does. Yeah. Changes, doesn't it? Yeah, dude. Starting to count the rings, you know? It's tough. It sucks. I was talking to my brother, Mark, about that. My brother, Mark, had an interesting take on guys and getting older. He said, you know what I've noticed? He said, to me, it doesn't seem like it happens gradually. He said, you know, you hear that. You would think that it would be some kind of deal where you say, oh, my elbow. There's a little pain in my elbow. Then about six months later, you go, man, that pain hasn't gone away. It's still there. He says, and then you say, I'll put it off a little longer, maybe if it's still there. Six months later, it's still there. That's a year. And you go, oh, boy, that's a problem. He said, I have not found that to be the case.
He said, what I have found is that I wake up and I go, holy cow, what's the matter with my elbow? And I said, you're right. There was a day. See, I said this, I think last week. I said there was a day where I would always wake up before the alarm went off. Well, that was the last day. I don't know what day it was, but that was the last day that happened. I woke up to the alarm. And ever since that day. I wake up to the alarm and I want to turn it off. I never did that before. I never did that before. Why? Because I'm closer to, you know, than birth. I was trying to think of an easy way to say it, but the problem is that when you're born, you start dying. Dude, when I was in college, I got...
mugged i got jumped yeah in an alley and they beat the crap out of me i had a broken elbow i had a busted face i had plastic surgery in my nose i was healed like healed healed i was playing golf in a month oh my gosh i broke my ankle what eight weeks ago ten weeks ago i can still barely walk yeah it lasts forever now it's unbelievable woodsy is to woodsy's uh or to woodsy's doctor's defense you can't keep woodsy down You cannot contain him. It's tough. You can't. He is not a guy that you can say to, just take it easy and don't do anything. You can't say that to him because he's wired to be moving. And I don't necessarily mean exercise moving. No, I know that. He's got that nervous energy, you know? To the refrigerator and back. It's his birthday. Sorry, to his cake and back. It says, Pat, donut shop. He's up. To the donut shop. Is that too much? But the doctor told Woods, stay off that sucker. Keep the boot on. Woods says to me, in line at Chipotle. Yeah, I think I'm going to try getting the water tomorrow. I said, I don't know, Woods. Are you sure you want to do that? Yeah. It's time. Be all right. Be all right. I said.
I don't know if you should. He goes, well, I'm not going to surf. I just want to get in. I just want to feel the water. What happened, Woods? Two seconds. I was in the water. Two. One wave came up. I turned my back to kind of jump over it. Yeah. Landed weird and limped out of the water and almost cried because I was so mad that I can't do anything. Yeah. It hurt. Hurt, hurt. Two seconds. Two seconds. Literally two seconds. Unbelievable. My wife was watching. She saw me. Walk in, turn right around, and walk right back out. Limp out. And we went to Phoenix, and he was in excruciating pain. Yeah, it was brutal. Did you wear the boot? Yes. That's a good boy. How are you doing now? It's better. I can walk on it, but I can't do anything. Can't jump, can't run, can't do anything. Don't, Woodsy. Ah. Oh, boy. You weren't doing a whole lot of running and jumping. That's fair enough, LLB. That's fair enough. Just stating the obvious, LLB, just killing your boy. Not a whole lot's changed, really. That's true. Now I have an excuse, though. Yeah. How about this crazy story from Florida? 17-year-old kid, Tyler Hadley, 1.30, Saturday afternoon, kills his folks with a hammer, posts an invitation on Facebook, inviting friends to party at his house. 40 to 60 people show up. They party. There's a rumor going around that, hey, I think this guy may have done something to his parents. Of course.
What happens at teenage parties is people are going in different rooms and stuff. He stashed them in their master bedroom. He put books and files and he put sheets over them. Anything he could find to cover them. Then an anonymous tip came into the cops. Cops went there about four o'clock in the morning to check out if things were all right. He appeared nervous, said, yeah, my parents are on vacation. They came in and they found out what happened. It's one of those deals where you go. Clearly this kid, who by the way is going to be tried as an adult, clearly this kid is insane. Insane. Insane. You'd have to be. You'd have to be insane. But 17 years old, Port St. Lucia Police. I guess it's Port St. Lucia. I guess that's how you pronounce it. But anyway, that's a big story today. And then the other big story is, where is Casey Anthony?
Where in the world is Casey Anthony? Yesterday, her attorney was on the Today Show and, you know, talking about how obviously they're not going to give out any information about where she is. But here's what he had to say. Cheney Mason. What can you tell us about where Casey Anthony is? Well, not a whole lot more than Jose did other than she is safe. Again, I want you to imagine that this man. is wearing overalls that are very muddy, nothing on underneath the overalls, and that he's full of hair on his biceps. There is random pubic hair on his biceps and on his back. I want you to imagine that he's wearing a raccoon hat, okay? And I want you to imagine that while he's giving this interview, he is holding a fishing pole made out of bamboo. And maybe a mason jar of iced tea. A mason jar of iced tea. Imagine that as he speaks. Confident about that and very comfortable with it. Can you confirm she boarded a plane? Not confirm that she boarded a plane or flew on her own. She's gone. She's safe. And elaborate plans had to be made to keep the people away from her. Elaborate plans. What?
What kind of life will she have there? Well, I'm sure that you know as well as anybody else, her life is going to be very difficult for a very long time. As long as there are so many people of the lynch mob mentality and those willing to deny the fact that the jury found her not guilty, she's going to have issues. Hey, baby, is that Casey and me? I don't know. It's either her or doesn't land us more on a set. Well, Casey Anfernee looks like Atlantis Marcel. That's right, but I think Atlantis is actually more beautiful. You crazy, girl. What's up with them pointy ears? You ought to go to Dr. Santee Feldman and get your eyes fixed. I'm going to open a can of tuna on her ears and myself a deluxe dinner. That's funny, baby, but it ain't right. Why? She's not. Baby. Isn't she, baby?
Am I hot? Baby, you are so hot, girl. Hotter than what? Hell, girl. Hotter than a $2 pistol? Yeah. I ain't again. You know what, though, baby? What? What the hell happened to your tan lines? They disappeared. I know. I haven't been out there. I was inside. Why don't you go to one of them places where you lay down the thing? In that bed? That tanning bed? Hot damn, baby. I think that's Casey Anthony over there. Will you stop talking about it? I can't stop looking. Well, go on over there and take a sniff. All right. Hang on. Hang on. Take a sniff. It's great. Just yell. Baby, if you keep yelling like that, you're going to scare her off. What do you want me to do? Just say, Casey. We walk by her and sniff her and say, Casey. Casey. I told you. She didn't look. Maybe it's the trick. Hang on. Let me try this one. Atlantis. Holy cow, baby. That's Atlantis. I told you.
So we don't know. Don't know where she's going to go. You still think Carlsbad, huh? Well, I'll tell you what, man. She lifts off in a private Learjet. The private Learjet had clearance to land on dirt runways. Her first attorney was a pilot from Carlsbad. Now, I'll tell you, this may be a reason that she is not in California. Because... where she goes could be limited by lawsuits that are pending against her. So if anybody wants to sue her, she won't want to be in that state. Somebody wants to sue her in Florida, she can't be in Florida. But she might be safe from Montana. I always used to think that the most, like I always used to think to myself, if I ever want to get away and I want to run for it, I'll go to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
It seems like the most random place in the world to me. See, it's pretty touristy there. Is it? Big ski country there. So you don't go there. You want to go to like Whitefish, Montana, where there's seven people. There you go. There you go. Alaska. Woods is a better... Yeah, Alaska. You blend in with all the other men. North Dakota. Yeah. South Dakota. There's 14 people in the state of North Dakota. That's a little known fact. True fact. 14 people. Now if we ever need to go somewhere, everyone will know where we are. North Dakota. L.O.B. will be in Harlem. That's not a secret. 100%. That's not a secret. If she ever commits a crime and she's on the lam, the first place you got to check, Harlem. Sure. She just calls it paradise. That's right. L.O.B. You know the Friday girl, Rebecca Black? She's got a new song and we're going to premiere it. I haven't heard it. Wow. It's called Moment. Oh, boy. And we will hear it together next. Let your voice be heard on The Mikey Show now. Why don't you tell him the whole story? Time to wake up, sir. Call 570-1949. The 15 southbound as you come through Escondido between Valley Parkway, Center City Parkway, that's slow. And you have a backup here on the 163 northbound between the 5 and the 805 because speeds are in the 30s. This report brought to you by Chevron.
Grab two of any variety of standard-sized candy for $2 until August 31st. One at regular price at Chevron Extra Mile. Extra easy, extra value at select Chevron locations. I'm Stacey Cohen, FM 94.9. The chick that was viral with the song Friday, Rebecca Black. She's got a new one. And I'm actually interested. So we're going to hear it in a second. We're going to do Chubby Bunny with Oreos at 8. Stuff. Oreos in our mouth. See who can say Chubby Bunny with the most Oreos in their mouth. And you'll call and bet. Got to get some video and pictures of that for sure. It's going to be gnarly. Yep. All right. So here's the countdown.
The countdown is on for the Wipeout Viewing Party. Woods and Jay are going to be on ABC's Wipeout. Hollywood. Hollywood. Hollywood. I didn't get my coffin that night. Nine days, 13 hours, 24 minutes. Even if you have dumb Wipeouts, that's the point. Yeah. Everybody wipes out. Everybody wipes out. That's what... Well, it's me. Right. I don't... I didn't Wipeout one time. I thought about renaming the show completely. Complete. Yeah. They're going to call it completion. They're like, hey, we want to start a new show called Completion. You're the star. You're the only contestant. Ever. Ever. But they will tune in. I mean, who else can maneuver a course, completion, and get through completion, completion? Completely. Completely. That's right. You can, Jay. That's me talking to me. That's me talking to me. All right. Here is Rebecca Black's new song.
It's called My Moment. Phone screener Chris is bopping his head. Sounds like the stuff I tried to write. I picture an 18-year-old brother that still lives at home even though he's 18. And he complains to his mom that his sister is really loud in her room when she's recording her stupid stuff. And it sucks anyway. And his dad has told him, has sat him down and said, seriously, while cursing, if you effing make your sister cry again by telling her what you told her the other day about how she sucks and all that stuff, you're out of here. And I'm not joking with you anymore.
You'd knock that off. A kid is busting her butt. That's all she's got is that stupid music. And I know it sucks too, but you can't talk to her like that. You can't talk to her like that. Quit talking to her like that. I don't care, dad. It sucks. What did I say? I don't care, man. She blasts it. Don't take it. Okay, I'm sorry. Don't take it, brother. It's driving me crazy. It's all I think about. It's all I hear. My moment, my moment. We get it. It's your moment. It's not any worse than Miley Cyrus. It is too. It's way worse. It's pretty bad. It is too. I could go in the bathroom and do something on my phone with Songify and it would be better than that. True statement. Do it. We're not allowed to talk about that. What? L-O-B, what you just brought up, right? We're not? No, because you said that we can't talk about that until the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no. I meant literally right now I could go. I have an app on my phone that auto tunes. All right. And I could do a better song than Rebecca Black. You think I can? I would like to see. Let me leave now. I'll give you, I'll give you, I'm going to start the timer. I'm going to give you three minutes. Oh, wow. You better hurry. You better hurry. I'm going to the bathroom. All right. That's where I do all my recording. You can email it to me, right? Okay, okay. Countdown. That's awesome. Called her bluff. She's not doing that. She's recording a song. Hold on. She's trying to get... Rude. She's not doing that. There's about a thousand men that just vomit in their mouths. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis are in a movie stupidly entitled Friends with Benefits. That's right. Stupidly entitled Friends with Benefits. It looks horrible. She looks pretty good, though. Yes. She's beautiful. Gosh, she's beautiful. Here's the two of them on the Today Show yesterday.
I do want to talk about, you both have become the bells of the ball, the Marine Corps ball. What is the story? Amelia, you're going, right? Yes. You got an invitation. He's going too. You got an invitation as well. I got an invitation to a completely different ball. Yeah, it's two separate balls. Apparently there's multiple balls. Yeah, Marines have a lot of balls. Marines got balls. They do. Semper Fi has been replaced by Marines got balls. We want to pay honor to our country and embrace their balls. We're attending both balls. How did this come about? Separately. Separately, but together. Do you think we can combine the balls? A double date. Yeah, like. Yeah, sure. I mean, well, I'm pretty sure there's protocol with marine balls. Or protocol. Wow. How many ball references can we make? I don't know. Apparently 14. You guys have done pretty well. I'm over these two clowns in a big way. Completely over these two clowns with their marine ball bit. And now all the marines are doing bits and they're asking other people to balls.
Hey, Mila, why did you say yes to going to the Marine Corps ball? Well, I'm not sure when it was posted. I found out about it during the press junket last weekend. And it was the first reporter who asked me. And I was like, honestly, I haven't seen anything about it. And Justin had seen it. And he was like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I've seen it. You have to do it. And I was like, why not? I've never been asked out on a date in my life. Didn't you say that? I know. I believe that. It's an honor. Too hot? Not that hot. Yeah, they look all beagle, so handsome. You know our friend Lori? Yes. Married to Kelly? Yes. Sharp dude? Yes. Where would you put Lori on a scale of one to ten? Good solid nine, eight and a half, nine. Yeah. No offense. I mean, it's beautiful, though. She's beautiful. I mean, she's gorgeous. No one asked her out. Come on. Dude, guys don't ask out.
Good looking girls. They're afraid to. Did you do it, L.O.B.? That's crazy. Did you email it to me? Here it is. I would always ask out the good looking girls. Me too. L.O.B. just went and recorded a song in the bathroom. And let's see if it is as good as the new song from Rebecca Black. It's already better. It's already better. She's either a crackhead or a genius. A genius. Sound like a Gaga song. Thank you. L.O.B. It's outstanding. Just quit, dude. She just went and cut a song. I am an angel. It's called I am an angel. An angel of light. I am an angel of light. Do you get to hear the music when you do that, or is it just you? You only have a couple choices unless you buy them, and I'm not going to buy the beats. You know that. LOB finally signed up for Amazon Prime yesterday, which I'm surprised at because I didn't think you spent money on Amazon. Well, it's the free trial, so.
If it says the word free, like she'd get jock itch powder if it was free. She doesn't have testicles, but she'd be like, oh, it's free. What am I going to do? Someone can use it. I'll find somebody. Do you realize that they're going to hit you one month and you're going to be like, wait, wait, oh my God, Amazon Prime. I want Amazon Prime, but when I went to go buy it, it was like, try it free. I was like, oh, okay, I'll do it. Well, here's the thing. You guys know. Loves me some Amazon. Yes. I mean, love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. I love it. And the reason that I love it is because you can get anything on Amazon. And when I say anything, I'm talking about groceries. I'm talking about clothes. Oh, yeah. I'm talking about electronics. Anything. Name something. Besides animals. You can't get animals on there. You can't buy animals. Big Mac.
Well, you have to go to McDonald's for that. Okay, so you got me. All right, name something else. Weird. Name something weird. Ketchup. You can get ketchup. Fur coat. You can get a fur coat. Nitrogen. You can get nitrogen. You can get anything on Amazon. I use it all the time. I like books. I like music. I like toys and electronics and things like that. And so for my birthday, I always say, please, because I have to work off an allowance. And I always run out of my allowance. For birthdays and Christmas, I just tell people, please get me Amazon. Don't get me anything else. I love Amazon. I love it. Well, Amazon Prime, you pay $75 a year, and they'll deliver everything you order in two days. Oh, that's outstanding. And if you want to upgrade for $3.99, you can upgrade it to one day. Now, are only certain things eligible? No, everything. That's why I was getting confused. No, everything. Everything you get. Well, well.
Now, you are right. There are some of the vendors that just don't do that. Okay. But most things that you get will be there in two days. Well, it was telling me I would qualify for free super shipping if I just added on six more dollars to my order. Did you? Yeah, I was ordering the most random stuff. I was like, I could use that. What did you get? Some oils. Oh. You creepy sex pervert. You're a sex pervert. No, I don't use perfume. You drive a van. You drive a white van that doesn't have any windows. You got oils? It's like scented oil instead of, I don't use perfume, so it's like... But you'll eat it up real good? No, one of them was called Egyptian Goddess. Oh my gosh. The other one was called Coco Mango. Oil. Auric oils. Can you, Auric? Auric oils. They come from the mountain of Rivendell. You must climb deep the fields of heather. Plast. Plast. Plast. An angel of light. She's an angel of light. I understand it. Hot stuff. Lauren. Yes? I hold in my hand a bottle of Auric blends. Yes. Fine perfume oil. Yes. Four fluid ounces. Yes? Can you tell me...
Why do you prefer oil? Smell it. Okay. Oh, just so people know, this little bottle is approximately four inches. And when you open it, it's got a rolling thing, like a little band roll-on, you know, like a roll-on deodorant thing, like a ball, little ball. That's really pretty. It's nice. It's really pretty. Yeah, it's nice. Oh, that's not bad. It's not bad at all. Okay. Now, I'm going to interview you because it's not very often that you talk to a female sex pervert. Now, let me ask you this. I'm not a sex pervert. Aren't you? Let me ask you this. Yes. Don't be afraid when I ask you this. Okay. Where do you apply that? Right here, like on my pulse points. On your pulse points? Yes. Okay, that's under the chin? Under the chin and on the wrist. On the wrist. Those are the three places that you apply.
Or four, I guess, right? Yes, four altogether. Who introduced you to oils? Was it a marijuana smoker? Yes. I have been wearing that stuff since high school, maybe. And it was a marijuana cigarette smoker. No, I used to be really into the Grateful Dead. And like the Nag Champa. Well, who? Yes, of course. Of course, the Nag Champa. And that was at one of the hippie stores that I went to, and I'm hooked. Sometimes it's hard to find, so lo and behold, Amazon had it. How much for? $7. It'll last me for six months. $7, Mike. The reason is because people don't know what they have in their hand. These exquisite oils. Fascinating. Hey, all I can tell you is the girl smells good. What do you want? What do you want? How you doing, baby? I'm embarrassed. Oh, man. That's good stuff. That's good stuff. Talked to my dad yesterday. He is 76 years old.
just obsessed with finding out where his great-grandmother lived, Jalisco, Mexico. What is it? Why do we... That's history. That's interesting. Is it? Is it? Yeah. You guys don't want to... I'm going to go visit where my relatives are from in Ireland, in Poland. You're going to get a lot out of that? What do you do? Journal? I'll stand there and go. Oh, wow. Look at this. Let's go get a beer. Here he once stood. This is where he stood. Me good. I called the Mormons again. They do better genealogy. And they said that for $100, they can find my grandma. Who did that? The Mormons. What are you going to do? I'm going to find my Nana. Dad, she's got to be.
gone now, eh? She'd be gone. Have you guys seen the... Have you seen the Ancestry.com commercial? I was watching one last week. This guy goes, hey, yeah, I signed up for Ancestry.com and found out that my great-great-grandparents live next to the right brother. I looked at the TV and I was like, so? Who cares? I do. Who cares? You don't care. I do. I think it's a bit anyway. I don't even think it's real. They're like, who should we say? What are you going to say? What are you going to do with that? Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison. You bring it up at parties. It's like bragging rights. Really? People are like, you're a clown. Hey, you guys. I was related to Betsy Ross. I am. Allegedly. Allegedly. Do you have any proof? My grandmother told me. It's always Betsy famous. Yeah, I think I heard when I was a kid, my middle name is Lee. And so, obviously, being in the South, you're related to Robert E. Lee. Sure I was. Yeah, sure. I'm sure I was. Yeah. It's hysterical. Of course, I'm going to be related to Cesar Chavez. Of course. Of course. I just picture this little...
This little lab in, like, Minneapolis. And there's 15 dudes sitting around. They're like, oh, we got another dude on the line. Here we go. All right, this guy is from Pittsburgh. You know who's from Pittsburgh? Orville Redenbacher. Orville Redenbacher. Let's go. And they just start filling in the names. They write him back. He's like, babe, I just found out that my uncle was related to Orville Redenbacher. He's like, Gosh darn it, man. We got to like invest in that company or something. Maybe it's in my blood to make popcorn. That probably explains why I always get popcorn. Babe, you know how I always get popcorn? Every freaking time we go to the movie, I get popcorn. Gosh, it makes sense now. I can't believe it. It's making sense. It's all coming. I know who I am now. I was sitting there. I was watching. I started. Dying laughing. The first thing in my head was, so? His wife's friends come over and they're like, it smells like popcorn again. And she's like, Dan called Ancestry.com. And they told him that he's freaking related to Orville Redenbacher. And now he's like, it's his thing. It's like his hobby. It's his calling. It's all he's doing. Like kettle corn. We've got caramel. Caramel cheese. He's trying Parmesan on there. You guys want some? Old Bay seasoning on this thing.

Dying. And Jay. I'm an awesome beer drinker on the course. On FM 94.9. I admit to you that I have now looked at the reasons that you don't want to date Megan Fox. It's all based on quotes that she has in magazines. It is horrific. Are you sold now? Huh. Completely. completely over it. I am completely sold. Maybe that's what I've said all along. No, no, no, no, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, though, Jay. You've said that you don't find her physically attractive. For all the... I mean, you can just look at her. She is... Oh, got it. Barty. She's so hot, we had to come up with a list of five reasons we don't want to date her. Wait till you hear it, though, man. We need to hear them. It's gonna... Oh, boy. Coming up at 7.30.
A while back, we interviewed a bounty hunter named Leonard Padilla. He is now suing Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, for $200,000. Why? Because Jose Baez and Casey Anthony hired him to come out to Florida and look for Kaylee. And he did. And he had very close, intimate conversations with Casey about her whereabouts. Opening day. Jose Baez says, we're going to tell you how Casey knew all along that her daughter was gone because her father did it. And so what he is basically saying is, look, if you knew, you owe me money because you had me fly out there and look for her. And I even bailed. He bailed her out of jail for $50,000 of his own money. Wow. And we're going to be talking to Leonard Padilla, who has personal knowledge of Casey Anthony and has spoken with her and spent time with her.
He will be on the air at 7.30. Kind of sad news coming out of Oceanside. Guy was killed by the Amtrak train on Sunday morning crossing with his brother. And they went in front of a train going 70 miles an hour. And unfortunately, he did not make it. How about this one? In Atlanta? Atlanta Police Department is doing an internal investigation on cops. Because what they do is they... write parking tickets for people that are sitting in their cars that are parked illegally. And then when the people drive away, the cops park there so they can go in and grab lunch. No way. And some dude caught it on his camera phone. Wow. Videotaped it. And then when they came out, he asked them, what are you doing? And they go, we work for the city. And these are city cars. We can do that. Internal investigation is going to be launched and find out whether or not they can do that.
Woods, what's going on in sports? Well, signs are strong that football's four-month lockout may be ending as early as this week, my friend. Wow. They are close. They said they are at mile 25 of a 26-mile marathon. Wow. And they are right there. Michael Vick even tweeted, sound like we're going to be back to work so soon. Why'd you pick his tweet? Yeah. Because I was the only one on there. Really? Yes. What other Michael Vick news do you have today? I don't know what you're talking about. Really? You don't know what I'm talking about. Actually, it's really good news by Michael Vick. He is supporting an anti-dog fighting measure. He is traveling to New York and he is going to be present when they vote on a bill presented by the Humane Society. So good for him. That is great. He has also recently re-signed his endorsement deal with Nike, so things are looking up for dog murderer Michael Vick. Convicted dog murderer Michael Vick. Convicted. Reformed. Well, convicted. Hot. Dog murderer Michael Vick. What? Hello, Bree. I can say, if you guys can say Casey Anthony is hot, I can say Michael Vick. She thinks she's hot. There's nothing wrong with it. Hey, listen. Yeah, you got a sharp guy, dude. What are you going to do?
Guys, there's nothing wrong with that. Five reasons you wouldn't want to date Megan Fox according to Megan Fox. Now, I am going to tell you right now, this radio program is not intended for children. Now, if you've got children in the car, that's fine. I just want you to know she doesn't say anything that's like bad language. But what she does say is filthy. Hideous. Okay. Now, these are quotes. From her. From FHM Magazine, June 2007. She says, quote, I'm horrible to live with. I don't clean. My clothes end up wherever I take them off. I forget to flush the toilet. Friends will tell me, quote, Megan, you totally pinched a loaf in my toilet and didn't flush. Again, these are Megan Fox quotes.
Widely believed to be one of the most attractive women on Earth. In her interview with GQ magazine in October of 2008, Megan Fox was quoted as saying, if you eat Chinese food, your farts come out like Chinese food. If you eat Mexican food, they're like Mexican food. And milk. It's like there's a warmth in it. My wardrobe on Transformers always smelled like farts. From her article in Allure magazine from June 2010, she said, quote, I don't like to eat at any restaurants because there are millions of other mouths that have been there and just knowing all that bacteria that you carry in your mouth, ugh. So if you're the type of person that likes to go to a restaurant, you're not going to one if you're dating Megan Fox. She refuses to cook for herself. In Allure magazine June 2010, she said, quote,
I'll starve to death before I cook for myself. I think I could survive a week without eating. And finally, she wants to hurt you. In Rolling Stone magazine in September of 2009, she was quoted as saying, and understand she is dating David Silver. Right. Married to. She's married now to David Silver from Beverly Hills 90210. Poor guy. His real name is Brian Austin Green. She says, temper is ridiculously bad. I've had to say to Brian, you have to go and stop talking to me because I'm going to kill you. I'm going to stab you with something. Please leave. I'd never own a gun for that reason. I wouldn't shoot to kill, but I would shoot him in the leg for sure. In her June 2009 article in Entertainment Weekly, Megan Fox said, quote, I think that I'm so psychotic and so mentally ill that if I could tap into that, I could do something really interesting, unquote.
Well, there we go. I mean, that's... She's honest. I guess that about does it. One that got me was the Chinese food fart. The wardrobe. And I almost lost it this morning. Chinese food fart. Furry and brown. Okay, you know, I considered it. I thought, you know, how far? And then I was like, you know, that maybe... Just let it, you know. What are you going to do? It's Jay. It's Jay. But that talked me out of Megan Fox. A thousand percent. Welcome. Welcome to the area. I would date Susan Boyle before I would date Megan Fox now. You would not. Yes, I would. Yes, I would. I would not. I don't think she's necessarily smelling like roses and cotton candy. She probably buttercups herself. I bet Megan Fox does too. I know that it's your birthday.
It's just another day. I know. I'm not that guy. I'm not like, hey, it's my birthday. You got to do whatever I say. I'm not that guy. I don't care. It's just another day. You're doing something special. My wife's making me dinner, and I'm taking Lucky to the vet. What's the matter with Lucky? He has to go every month because he has epilepsy. So I got to get his prescription refill, and I got to look at him, make sure he's good. So I should take back the strobe light I got you? It'll make epileptic people have seizures. Sometimes, Jay, epilepsy isn't funny. Sometimes. Mac, you ready for my ideas? Now, if this is too much of a diner, you can tell me. Name your favorite aunt or uncle that you lost from cancer or AIDS. I have an idea. Go ahead, Jay. Okay. I'd like to put every day just a drop more of alcohol into Mikey's coffee.
Let's see how much I can get in there before I notice it. He's been drinking for a week. It's called, guess who fell off the wagon? That's the game. It'll be you, but, you know, we'll say guess who, but the answer's you. When Mike's out of the room, we'll have M1's call and guess how many weeks will it take him to relapse? Because you know how he is. He'll get, like, a taste for it. He'll get, like, a taste for it. He'll get a taste for it, and then it'll be part of his routine, and then, you know. Next thing you know, he's bringing wild Irish rose in for breakfast. Yeah. Cognac. He's got coffee. We'll put calura in it. Put calura, and he'll never know it. I have one more. What? Let's see how much chloroform you can sniff before you pass out. One of Jay's actual ideas. We have to pull the curtain back. We have to pull the curtain back. We got to pull that thing back. True story. The day after Casey Anthony was acquitted. The day after. He wrote just me, which meant he was serious. Dead serious. And he said, Mac, since Casey was acquitted yesterday, what if we did an M1 hot body contest? And I wrote back in all caps.
Two words. Mon-ster. And when I told L.O.B. and Woods and Sienna later, L.O.B. wrote back and she, because L.O.B. knows that she can be gullible. And she was like, he didn't really, right? And I said, no, he did. He's playing that. Right now. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, no, no. No, no, no. He's standing up and bowing. Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Incredible. All I know is that our fan page on Facebook, facebook.com slash Mikey show. It'll take about five seconds for the Facebook post to start coming in. It's the greatest idea I've ever heard, Jay. L-O-L. Raffle J. Raffle J. L-M-F-A-O, J. You're the science person ever. J for Prez. The Casey Anthony hot body content. Why? Yeah, you wanted to do a look-alike. A look-alike. Hot body content. J.
I think I called him a hideous genius. Let's see. So Crystal Harris, we all know who Crystal Harris is, right? Yes. She is the chick that was going to marry Hugh Hefner, but decided at one point, I probably shouldn't because I'm 25, he's 85. So she changed her mind. Here she is talking about it. I never... As a little kid, imagine what my wedding would be like one day. But I kind of knew that, you know, I wasn't supposed to be feeling like this. I saw myself like gradually checking out. I mean, everything was just weighing on my mind. You know, you mean like the fact that he was 85. She had a Goo Goo Dolls concert or something? Yeah, I guess.
Because when she was talking, you could hear them Goo Goo Dolls playing in the background or something. Somebody liked the Goo Goo Dolls playing in the background. I never, as a little kid, imagined what my wedding would be like one day. But I kind of knew that I wasn't supposed to be feeling like this. I saw myself gradually checking out. Everything was just weighing on my mind. Dan, we're talking about Hef. Dan, come on. Seriously? It's a little insensitive. I know, but we're trying to film her talking about Hef. Hold on. Who are you? We're doing an interview about him. Cool. I'll just be over here. But we're picking that up. Can you guys hear that? I can hear that. It's printing. I can hear it. We're trying to interview her about you. Hey, Dan. Dan. Do you think you could just stop that for like five seconds? Crystal, do you know him? Yeah, I do. I know him. Is he your guitarist? He's a person of interest.
Dan, come on. Is that the guy that you left Hugh Hefner for? I didn't leave Hugh for anybody. Dan, seriously! You are such a bee. Gosh. Sorry, what were you saying? Dan? Why do you play guitar while... Are you romantically involved with Crystal? Allegedly. No, there's no allegations. I didn't make any allegations. I just asked if you guys were romantically involved. We're in the infant stages. We're talking. We're talking to each other. Make a baby. I'm just going to... Zip it. So anyway, Crystal, yeah, well, what I was asking is, at what point did you say, well, my marriage is... Dad! We could work through it. I guess maybe we'll just interview it out, but... Okay. Or we'll do it in post-editing. Okay. But, well, what did you imagine your wedding to be like? Oh, boy. Why does he... Does he always smile like that when he... Like, with a big smile on his face when he...
He usually does. He's having a good time. But it's a giant grin. A grin. And that's actually one of the things I love about him. He's almost... There we go. Oh, wow. Uh-oh. Big finish. Oh, my gosh. Thanks, Crystal. Why don't we just work on another time? Yeah. We'll work on another time. Sorry about that. I didn't realize he's going to do that. Kind of ham-fisted. It's his birthday, Jay. Shut up, Jay. It wasn't me. It was Dan. It was his birthday. For your birthday, Woods. Thank you so long. This is Mariah Carey.
Baby, I'm up in my business like when the interview, but this is private between eyes. Don't smile. Put me on the floor. Let me around. Play me some more. Throw me on the bed. I'm just gonna make you feel it'll never be. Break me in my thighs. Just a little dance. Break me in my thighs. Don't say about it. Don't you love my car? Oh, easy. Maybe we just, you know. Oh, boy. Don't you love my car? Happy birthday, Woods. Thank you. Let's see. So we're going to play Why Are We Here in just a minute. But about a year ago, we interviewed Leonard Padilla. And the reason we interviewed him was because I'd seen him on a documentary. He's a bounty hunter. And he claims to be the best bounty hunter in America. And here he is. What's the hairiest it ever got for you?
One Sunday morning, I'm looking for a guy that was wanted, attempted murder out of Long Beach, California. And I'm going home from church with my wife and my three kids. This was back in... And I'm driving along, and I thought, well, I'm going to swing by this guy's. See, sometimes might come up and visit them. Go by there, and I happen to see a car that he's supposed to be driving. And this is pre-cell phone time, so I go to the grocery, I grab a pay phone, I call the law enforcement. I says, hey, I think Asus Martinez is visiting his parents and such and such. Okay, we'll be there. Give us a few minutes. At the same time, my young son says, hey, Dad, see the guy on the bicycle? Brother, he's going down to the house. So the kid goes down to the house. Enforcement, I'm going to be at the back. You guys come up from the front. Go around to the back with a van. I get out. It's raining. It's about 9.30, 10 o'clock in the morning. And I see a guy with a jacket pulled over his head coming down the sidewalk. Yes, I'm packing a gun, but I don't have it drawn.
Holy cow. Oh, wow. The guy takes one look at him. The private detective's got his gun in hand. Jesse jumps back into the neighborhood. The police department cordons off the area. Immediately they've got canine dogs and everything. And I thought, wow, these guys really came on strong. Well, unbeknownst to me, that morning they were having a training session at the park, which is about four blocks away, for canines. So I had the ability to...
draw on their sources and that was they had a bunch of dogs and an hour later they dug the guy out from under a car. And that was it. But I would say that that's probably the dumbest thing I've done in the business by jumping out and I mean, I just didn't believe I don't know, this guy's walking down the sidewalk and he flips it back and he's got a .45 and it's him. That's right. That was last year we talked to Leonard Padilla. That guy was hired by Kaylee or by Casey Anthony to find Kaylee Anthony. Now that he knows that she knew that Kaylee was gone, he's suing her. And we're going to have him on the air next to talk about what it was like knowing and talking with Casey Anthony and Jose Baez. Surf-wise, over the next few days in this morning, we're going to see an increase in south-southwest pretty swell slowly tapering in with a touch of northwest joining in at the same time, too. Nothing really large in that need-to-waste-type zone on average. Occasional chest-type plus, though, if those stand-out spots, especially once we get past that negative low tide this morning. Look for beach breaks to have some pick and choose corners there. A bit walled up early, then showing more size and shape as that tide fills in. And some of the top south-facing reef breaks now will have some corners as well, and they should remain fairly clean. Not much wind on it right now. Yesterday, it was speculation on our parts. And even today, we said it was speculation that perhaps Casey Anthony is in Carlsbad. Is it true? We're going to catch up with the Today Show in just a second where they have someone from the Today Show live at Carlsbad. Carlsbad Airport. Holy cow. I found this man to be fascinating. He was the subject of a National Geographic documentary and we talked to him last year. His name is Leonard Padilla and he is a bounty hunter. Perhaps the best bounty hunter in the United States. He was hired by Jose Baez and Casey Anthony and he is suing now for $200,000. Are you there, Leonard?
It's nice to have you back on the Mikey show. I'm good. You know, you have a very, very unique point of view. You are, as CNN.com says, suing for $200,000 because you were flown out to Florida in 2008 to help search for Kaylee Anthony, who was then missing. Let me put it in August 2008. I was in contact with Jose Baez as a result of some conversations with friends of mine in New York in the media. And we decided, okay, let's see what he has to say about us coming in on the situation and helping get her out of custody. His client was in custody at the time. As a result, I talked to him while he was in New York and also in Florida. I was in Sacramento. At the time, I got out of bail.
out on bail, there might be an opportunity to get her to come forth with the child. We thought the child was just taken out of Florida for safekeeping by herself at her instruction. He agreed to it, and there wasn't any discussion about repayment or anything like that. Through to Florida, we bailed her out after we met with him several times. How much did that cost? The bond itself was provided by my nephew, Tony Padilla, here in Sacramento. He owns a bail bond agency, but at the time, I paid $50,000 for it. We then took her to her parents' home and provided security because obviously the crowds were getting unruly. So we had some extra security flown in. Was she in your car, Leonard? We were in a vehicle together. Myself, Rob Dick, the head of security, two of her attorneys and herself. Drove home from the jail that day, yes. We're talking to Leonard Padilla, widely considered the best bounty hunter in the United States.
at one time was involved with the Casey Anthony case on a basis of trying to find Kaylee. So go ahead. You go to her parents' house. Okay, we go to her parents' house. We have several discussions with her, myself, Tracy McLaughlin, who was basically 24-7 staying with her the whole nine days, Rob Dick, who was providing the security, and several other individuals. And we talked to her, and she told us about the babysitter having kidnapped the child, one thing or another. And we were busy looking for the child, investigating as best we could amongst her friends, relatives, and relations. How convincing was she, Leonard? Excuse me? How convincing was she? She is the best liar, and I've dealt with the best of the best. She is the best. She will convince you just damn near anything that she talks about. So you at no point, at no point, did you question the validity of her story? It got to the point where, yes, I did, one day about the babysitter.
How long did that take for you to get there? We'd been there approximately seven days, a full week. So a full week after being there, you started to go, something is not right. Correct. Absolutely correct. Yeah, it was a full week. And what was she like when you talked to her? And, you know, we've only seen her on television. How big is she? She's about five foot two pounds. She's not in person. Wow. She's always happy. Tracy McLaughlin nicknamed her the cruise director because she was always bubbly, always happy. Never once during the whole time we met her daughter. Never once did she shed a tear for her daughter. Never once did she sit down here at the kitchen table and figure out what we're going to do to find my daughter. Never once did she do that. We're talking to Leonard Padilla. Leonard Padilla is a bounty hunter who was hired by Jose Baez and Casey Anthony to fly out to Florida in 2008 and look for her then-missing daughter.
Kaylee. And you were there for a week. You were talking to her. He says she is the best liar that he's ever met. And he's met a lot of them. He said she was the best. And so when you were around, she was smiling and she was in a good mood all the time? All the time. There was a couple of instances, like one time when her dad said about, hey, tell me where my granddaughter's at. What's happened? She reacted with a get away from me. Don't you treat me like. I'm your daughter. Act like a father for once in your life. From him, went to her room. Would not discuss a child with him either. So that happened in front of you in the Anthony home? Not in front of me. I was outside the house. It happened in front of Tracy McLaughlin, my associate. Dude. So what were Cindy and George, how did they strike you? What types of personalities did they strike you as, her parents? They were all...
When they were around their daughter, they were always walking on eggshells, always saying, hey, we've got to treat her lightly. We can't be too strong. We can't come on like that. We have to just wait for her to get ready to cooperate with us. It was a ridiculous situation when we'd never been involved in. But we kind of went along with it because we figured, okay, yeah, she's been in jail for almost two months. We will see what happens when she readapts to being at home. It wasn't anything that happened. It just did not happen from the time she got out of jail until the time they put her back in jail 10 days later. She never changed her attitude, never changed her ability to just be happy, bubbly. Even when she went back into jail, it was like, okay, I'm going back into jail, no big deal. What sorts of things, if she wasn't talking about her daughter, when you were around her, Leonard, and I don't know if you can remember, it was 2008.
But do you remember the types of things that she would talk about? Like, what was on her mind? easygoing situation. Not a problem. It didn't seem like a... I mean, I couldn't believe that here she's got a two-year-old daughter that she says has been kidnapped. Somebody's got her daughter. When you got to that seven... When you got... We're talking to Leonard Padilla who was looking for...
uh kaylee uh because he'd been hired by jose baez and casey anthony to come out to florida in 2008 he's one of the best bounty hunters in the country if not the best uh the focus of a national geographic documentary on bounty hunting and so when you went out there um leonard and you're talking to her and after seven days you start to get this inclination that maybe something ain't right here did you ever confront her about it or did you just go hey look i'm out of this thing yeah basically when she I started coming on with her around Zonida, the babysitter. The baby would be away from me at Jay Blanchard Park. Look, I didn't come 3,000 miles to leave my chihuahua behind in California to listen to this. Now, you've got to come up with the information that we need to find your baby, whether you took the baby out of town or somebody who really has the baby. But this Zonida lady is not involved. She jumps up and says, you can't talk to me like a cop. Get out of my house. At that time, we had an RV parked outside in the front yard. So I just went out to the RV and I sat there and talked to the guys. And I said, hey. say we have somewhat of a dilemma here. I'll agree that, yeah, if you don't want to cooperate, there's got to be something more to this than what we thought it was. It doesn't look like it. There's just merely a missing child. I said, well, so that the FBI came out with the fact that there was decomposition in the trunk of her car found and that it belonged to Kate and it had a deathbed. Now, let me ask you. So let me ask you, Leonard, because, you know, you're suing them for for two hundred thousand dollars. And it's because.
His opening, Jose Baez's opening statements, he comes out and he says, well. The child was never missing. The child was never missing. Now, how did you find out that that's what the opening statements were? Or were you watching? Holy cow. Holy cow. We were all, when he came out with that, we just kind of looked at each other like, can you believe this? We were back there. We were duped. We were played. Dummies. I mean, we're criminals and we've been at it for. many, many years. My goodness. This attorney and this youngster had played us was appalling. Oh my gosh. You know, listen, I'm rarely at a loss for words, but I'm almost at a loss for words because literally I could talk to you for a couple of hours. Here's the thing. How can an attorney sit there and encourage us to look, lie to us, look us in the eye on behalf of his client, on behalf of his own strategy?
And three years later, he's on national television saying, I knew it all along that she wasn't missing. I knew all along that she was deceased. What kind of guy did you find Jose Baez to be when you were in Florida? Well, I knew that he was an attorney. I own the Lorenzo Patino Law School. It's an evening law school in Sacramento and have operated it for 30 years. So I've been around very aware of attorneys, their thinking, important things of that nature. But I've never run into an attorney. an attorney that knew that his client's child was dead and represented to us that that child was alive. Why do you think he was doing that? What was in it for him to represent that she was missing? You know, at that point in time, I didn't obviously know it, but now when I look back, I'm still at a loss. Why didn't he just, when the initial calls came from me in California, why didn't he just say, not interested? Why didn't he lead us into it?
Do you think, because you knew George Anthony, you spent time with George Anthony, you spent time with Cindy Anthony, you spent time with Casey Anthony, hearing what she has accused her father of, what was your reaction when you heard that? That she had accused him of molesting her, accused her brother. Did you ever meet Lee, by the way, the brother? Yes, yes, Lee. several times. Lee had no involvement in molesting his sister. The father definitely had no involvement in molesting his sister. It was a horrible thing for her to come up and have her attorney go in front of a jury. An attorney should never, ever, ever tell the jury that he does not believe to be true. And I just cannot believe after he had met George on several occasions, many occasions, that he would even represent something like that to the jury. It was just terrible of Jose Baez to do that. Your thoughts on Cindy Anthony? Cindy Anthony is a strong-willed, headstrong person that wants the world to know the universe. She runs her in fist inside that front door. Everything inside that thing is okay. It's wrong inside that house. She's not about to let it become part of her life outside that house. What did you see as, we're talking to Leonard Padilla, who is suing for $200,000.
He's suing Casey Anthony and Jose Baez, her attorney, and he flew out to Florida in 2008 to look for what he thought was then a missing Kaylee Anthony. The relationship between Casey and her mother. At one point, it actually occurred to me, Leonard, that it was possible because the relationship was so strange between Casey and her mother. My wife and I thought, because we followed this case so closely, we thought, Is it possible that she may have done this partly because she wanted to hurt her mother? What was that relationship like between her and her mother? It was a contentious, very contested relationship over control of the child. We learned afterwards. One of my partners, Rob Dick, today says, Leonard, she didn't overdo a mistake. She intentionally killed her to get back at her mother. Wow. I said, Rob, that's. That's a difficult thing for me to accept. He says, that's the way I feel about it today. And he was with the family more often than I was. Holy cow. I mean, he was with Casey every day. And he says she did it on purpose. I still find it hard to believe, but that's his belief now. And he was, like I say, he was there with her the whole time. Leonard, I've been in radio 23 years.
This is the most incredible interview I've ever done in 23 years. And let me tell you something. If anybody ever asked me, what's the best interview you've ever had? Leonard Padilla. Hands down. Leonard Padilla. Leonard, finally, were you ever contacted by the prosecution to testify? Never. Not myself, not Rob Dick, not Tracy McLaughlin, not any of the people that had firsthand knowledge of everything that happened in that house. How? How could you not? How could you not be contacted? How could you not be contacted? You would have been an incredible witness for the prosecution. Ashton made a mistake in handling of the trial. He didn't, Baez didn't win Ashton. I agree. Holy cow. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Leonard, listen, like I said, 23 years, you're the best interview I've ever had. This is a...
Absolutely. I mean, just is there any other thoughts you can give us as we're closing here? Is there any other thoughts you can give us about about Casey? Because you were around her and you knew her. Well, one of the things that has come up as a result was the meter reader that found the body has filed a lawsuit against me, which will give us an opportunity to dig further into this whole situation. Yeah. What's that guy's name? Roy. Roy Kronk. Roy Kronk. Now, why is he suing you? He says that I have defamed him, so he filed a defamation suit. And he has thrown into the suit, which is a public record. I have not been served yet, but it's a public record, that I defamed him by alleging that his girlfriend that he lives with, that works at this office, gave him the information where the body was because she got it from individuals that overheard a conversation between Baez, his client, and the jail. In other words, it's privileged information. We believe that law enforcement overheard.
Carpentier, who is real friend. He's suing, saying that I have basically maligned his character by making this allegation. And then he's got a bunch of other allegations in there that aren't true. Wow. When I said that his friend gave him the information as a result of law enforcement. Leonard Padilla. He is seeking $200,000 from Casey Anthony and her attorney, Jose Baez. I don't need to tell you this because you're the best bounty hunter in America. But many people believe that she's here in San Diego County right now, which is unusual. Go ahead. Here's the thing. All you have to do is run down an attorney by the name of Todd Macaluso, who flies his own airplane, who was part of the defense team. Oh, my gosh. Carl's bat might not be a bad guess. Oh, my gosh. Thank you, Leonard. Hey, incredible interview. Thank you, Leonard. Appreciate it.
Leonard Padilla, this on the Today Show. Now on a Tuesday morning, it's the 19th of July, 2011. Summer flying by and it feels like summer here in the city. A lot of people out in our plaza getting an early start, which is great advice because it gets awful hot in the afternoon around here. Temperatures going up to about 100 degrees later in the week. It's going to get sticky. We'll get outside and say hi to those people. Get sticky with them in just a couple of minutes. Meanwhile, inside the studio, I'm Matt Lauer alongside Ann Curry. And coming up, we're going to talk about different kind of weather, weathering the bad economy. A lot of experts say things are getting a little bit better. We're going to this story right now about Casey possibly being here. They're cutting back on spending.
How can you do it, too? We're going to have some key survival tactics. Then we're also going to talk about some amazing young women with big goals in life. The U.S. women's soccer team is here, fresh off their great run at the World Cup in Germany, waving at all of you this morning. So we'll get to hear from them. That's looking forward to that. Also ahead, how about this question? Hurry up! What's the story, Matt? Please, Matt. Here we go. With Casey Anthony. And the question, is she hiding out on the West Coast this morning? NBC's Kerry Sanders is in Carlsbad, California, with the latest on this story. Hey, Kerry, good morning. Well, good morning, Anne. Yes, I'm in Southern California in Carlsbad, which is an upscale coastal community not too far from San Diego. When Casey Anthony left the jail in Orlando two days ago, she vanished. But now sources say she climbed on board a plane. a private aircraft that's kept in a hangar right here. That plane then started to fly west, making multiple stops where Casey Anthony may or may not have stepped off. This is the first place you would go search. Todd Macaluso was a high-powered California attorney, once a member of Casey Anthony's legal team, who reportedly gave her $70,000 before leaving the case last year. There is substantial evidence.
And that proves, Your Honor, her innocence. On Macaluso's website, he advertises his private plane, a plane that enables us to travel anywhere within the United States in seven hours. The day before Casey was released from jail, Macaluso's plane was on the ground in Orlando, according to FlightAware.com, a website which tracks commercial and private aircrafts. Pilots are not required to file flight plans for every trip. But the next time the plane showed up was in Panama City, Florida, nearly four hours after Casey's release from jail. After changing its planned destination twice, according to FlightAware records, Macaluso's plane headed to Prescott, Arizona. Almost 15 hours later... The plane stopped in Northern California and then landed at the John Wayne Airport here in Southern California. Macaluso declined to comment to NBC News, and Casey's legal team will not say if she was on board or if she's now in California. There might be somebody if they want to spend enough.
money and effort and energy trying to find her, but it won't do them any good because they won't be able to get to her, they won't be able to talk to her, and when they blink, she'll be gone. It's unclear who's funding Casey Anthony's life right now. She left jail with only $537.68. There's talk of a possible pay-per-view television interview, but she's been hit with an IRS tax lien and four different lawsuits. Now you may remember one of the key pieces of evidence presented by the prosecutors. This guy's live in Carlsbad. Anthony family computer on the hard drive. Prosecutors said they found 84 instances of a search for chloroform. But now the company who provided the software that extracted that information is telling the New York Times that. Their software was faulty, and they notified the prosecutors during the trial. Now, the prosecutors have not commented either to the New York Times or to NBC News. Remember, chloroform was a key piece of evidence that Casey Anthony allegedly poisoned her daughter, Kaylee. Anne? Casey Anthony could be in San Diego right now. Oh, boy. You got something worth adding to the Mikey show? This is what they do. Number one. Text him.

This lady is really taking a lot of heat right now because she was trying to pay homage to her deceased father, who was an Ohio State fan. And so what she did was she got her cousin and she got a friend to join her and had her father's casket open. There's a photograph of it. And she used his casket as an eye. And they did the Ohio. They formed it with, you know, like YMCA. They stood next to it and did this. They stood next to it. And her entire family was against it. Oh. And she thought that her dad would like it. Oh. And so the picture's gone viral. And a lot of people think it's in poor taste to be there with your dad in his casket, using his casket as an eye. Go stay. Buckeye fans are. She's got a giant smile on her face. Just loving it.
Let's see. Let's see. What's going on in sports? Well, Bengals cornerback Adam Pacman Jones has pleaded not guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in Cincinnati. Sanchez. There you go. I'm Mikey. That's Woodsy. That's L-O-B. That's Jay. That's Grot. And on the phone for Woodsy's birthday is Woodsy's mama calling in from Dallas. Oh, look at that. Hi. Hi, Mama. Happy birthday. Thank you. You've been listening, and it's a great show as always. Yeah, we've had a good day today. It was 36 years ago today. I can't believe it. I know. I love my baby so much. Where was Stephen born? He was born at Methodist Hospital in Dallas. What time? At 12, 18 p.m. How about that? In the afternoon? I know. In the afternoon. How much did he weigh? Do you remember? Oh, sure. 8, 13.
8 pounds, 13 ounces. But his brother had him beat. He was 10'4". Wow. Wow. My goodness. I know. I know. Great memories. But I just wanted to wish him a happy birthday and say hello to all of you. Very sweet. We love you. Thanks, Mama. Oh, I love you guys. And we hope to see you soon. I'll see you in about 12 days. That sounds great. I can't wait. Love you. Bye, Marcia. We'll see you later. Bye. Happy birthday. Thank you. That's Woodsy's mama. So sweet. She's so sweet. You've been lazy when you're born. 1230 in the afternoon. Jay, it's his birthday. Jay. I was born at 450 a.m. Yep. Zapping at him. Not a lot to do that day. That's right. That's right. Came out of the womb working. They said there's breastfeeding out there. I was like, I'm in. That's your mother. That's your mom's breast that you're referring to. Oh my gosh, that crossed the line. That was your mom. Helicopter, helicopter. M1 Ray from San Diego. What was the word of the day? Lemon. Good listening, dude. You are going.
To the sold-out Comic-Con. You got a single-day ticket, dude. You got a pair, actually, so we'll give you a pair. Hang on the line. Let's see. Something else, wasn't it? Guy really knows how to deliver a one-liner. That was incredible. He's almost as good as President Obama at delivering this joke as he was introducing his new head of something. He's the head of the Consumer Protection Bureau. Ah, the CPB. Yes. Very important. Well, apparently the guy that he's appointing was once on the TV show Jeopardy. Okay. And Obama made a joke and no one got it. Oh, boy. Now, last but not least, back in the 80s, Richard was also a five-time Jeopardy champion and a semifinalist in the Tournament of Champions.
Not too shabby. That's why all his confirmation, all his answers at his confirmation hearings will be in the form of a question. That's a joke. Okay. Hello, this is Jay Isbell for the Jay Isbell School of Joke Telling. Oh my gosh. When you are telling a joke, the key to telling a joke is the... Be sure to flub on a word at least once. It gets their attention. And then, you have to make sure you say, that was a joke. So they know that was a joke. A joke isn't funny unless you tell them it is a joke. That's a joke. I am Jason R. Isbell. For the Jason R. Isbell School of Jokes.
Talent. Talent. Talent. There I go with the flip. Get it? That was a joke. Let's play Why Are We Here? Let's see. Do I have... Where's my... There we go. No. No. It's not right. Let me try this one one more time. There. Now we got it. Okay. Why Are We Here? The way that Why Are We Here works is I reach into a basket. I'm going to pull out two character names that we do here on the Mikey Show. And then I'm going to reach in and get a location. And then we have to decide, well, why are those two characters together? I'm reaching in. And the first name is Ozzy Osbourne. The second name is Liza Minnelli. And now I'm reaching into the location. Oh, yes. And they are at the circus. Oh, boy. Of course. Screaming, dear. I'm right here. Oh, what are you doing? I'm trying to see if I can get some.
Alcohol into this place. Why don't you just smuggle it in like I do, right? Yeah, it's in my shoe. You know what's in my shoe? What? A turtle head for later. Oh, gosh, it's so funny. I hate this place, man. I'm afraid of clowns. They're all going to come pouring out of that car any minute. People sometimes tell me that I look like a clown. Yeah, you got a lot of makeup on. I'm a sad clown. You ever made love to Richie Burton? Who's Richie Burton? I have no clue. Absolutely not. I had no idea, darling. I mentioned I'm afraid of clothes. You did. What the hell is that? Are you mixing a drink? I'm shaking him a drink. Would you like some? You made me a martini, darling. Sure, darling. Would you like it? What would you like in there? Do you like it dirty? I know you like it dirty. Sharon told me, oh my goodness. Sharon! Did you tell I was dirty? Here you go, darling. Enjoy this. I'm not supposed to drink this, but bottom's up.
Let's cheers to the old boys. What do you say? Are you talking about my testicles? Well, sure, why not? Cheers to Ozzy's old boys. Wow. That's why are we here, ladies and gentlemen. Brilliant. That is fantastic. Fantastic, ladies and gentlemen. I'm afraid to do Chubby Bunny. Because, well, I'm afraid I'm going to get a sugar reaction, but can I spit it out? I'm not hungry. I'm not either. I'm ready to go. Let's do it. Are we going to do that now? Do you want to do it later? Let's do it. There's reason to not do it. Because one reason that I can think of to not do it is that John Foreman may or may not be coming in here. I don't know. If he walks in and we have Oreos stuffed on our cheeks, it's going to be really bad. It'll be inappropriate. I said we'd do it. Fine. Let's do it. What? Come on. We promised him. Let's do it. All right. Chubby Bunny is where we put some kind of food item in our mouth.
There's one for Woods and one for us. And we see how many we can get in our mouth. Lauren just calls that a weekend. Okay. And then we see how many. And then whoever can get the most is the winner. You can't chomp on them, right? Oh, my God. That's the rule. I love it. We got a prize we can give away? Sure. All right. 570-1949. Opening day tickets. To the what? Thoroughbred. How many do you want? How many do you want? How many do you want? I said it correctly. 570-1949. Pick me, Jay, Woods, or L-O-B. Who won last time? You won last time, didn't you? No, I didn't. Didn't we play afterwards? I think we tied. So you're going to pick me, Woods, L-O-B, or Jay. I'm nervous. I get a sugar reaction, so I can't swallow any of this. That's what my excuse is, too. We go one at a time? All right. My goodness, you dirty bird. What? I don't want to swallow these. Yeah, we usually go one at a time. We go one, one, one, one. Everybody puts one in their mouth. I know. Oh, my God. My goodness. What? Gosh, you guys are filters.
Howard O'Brien. Howard O'Brien. All right, let's get to it. It's M1 Sticker Maker from, get Sticker Maker from IB. Who do you want? Woods. You got it. Hang on. M1 Chris from Miramar. Who do you want? L-O-B. Bad choice. M1 Casey from San Diego. Who do you want? Casey. Casey. Casey. Casey. There you are. Hi, Casey. What's your last name? Hi. Sorry, my phone sucks. Who do you want? What's your last name? Mikey. Casey Mikey. All right. And up next is M1 George from San Diego. George from San Diego. Weird, weird, weird, weird, weird. Where's Cindy? You've got Jay. All right. Hang on a line. Hang on a line. All right. I forgot. So what do we do? We just go. We say one. We all put one in. Two. We all put one in. And then we go around and say chubby bunny. And we say chubby bunny. Okay. So after every.
Oreo we put in, we say Chubby Bunny. Yes. Oh, he's going to film it? Chris is going to film it? Chris, you monster. Are you ready? Yes. Here we go. One. Chubby Bunny. You don't chew it. You can't chew it. You can't chew it? You just got to put it in your mouth. Okay. Hold on. We'll be far over then. I'll start over. Anything to eat an Oreo. Chubby Bunny. Chubby Bunny. Chubby Bunny. Chubby Bunny. Chubby Bunny. Chubby Bunny. This is stupid. Oh, wow. Uh-oh, don't choke to death. Hurt. Oh, my God.
It's Mikey and Jake. Alright, this is number six. Here they go. Jay's got it in. Shoved it in real good. Mike's almost there. Just the tip of it's in. Now it's... Mike's got just the tip. Now Mike's got the whole thing in. Just the black part. Just... Oh, my God. Now, Jay, go. Mike? That's pretty good. All right, here we go. Number seven. Jay doesn't know if he can squeeze this one. Here we go. He's got half. Oh, he's going to vomit. He's going to vomit.
Mike could win by disqualification. Oh, my God. Don't choke. Oh, my God. Don't choke. Oh, my God. He's going to choke. He got it in. He got it in. He almost threw up. Say it. Mikey is shoveling the seven or Chase is going to vomit. Oh, God. He's going to choke. Can you breathe, Chase? All right, Mikey, you got the seventh one in. Oh, my God, he's good. He wins. Mikey wins. Mikey wins. Oh, dude. He was retching. I'd just like to thank my parents for giving me great genes to be able to shovel food in my mouth. Wow. Take these home to Jasper, Jay. Yeah, don't throw it. Hey, Mike, the stuff from your mouth, don't throw that out. It's been in a Ziploc.
That was kind of a king's ass meal, wasn't it? Oh, my gosh. It's like what baby birds do. It made my nose run. It made my head hurt. Holy cow. I thought I was going to choke it one time. That was hysterical when chased. Mouthful of Oreos. Oh, my gosh. It's incredible. An email from M1 that's a window washer. And it's... Fantastic, and we've got to tell you about it and see if you can relate next. Mikey Show. The best. That's right, it's the best. You think you've got something worth adding? I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the program. I'm your diminutive friend. Lauren. I got a little pepper up my nose. Had to sneeze. Wood. The best movie ever made, Footloose. And Jay. Howdy ho neighbors. On FM 94.9. Our program director Garrett forwarded on an email to us from a woman that works for CNN that really liked the Leonard Padilla interview. In 23 years of radio, it was the coolest interview I've been lucky enough to be a part of. Yeah. And it was just such an insightful interview from a guy that actually spent seven days with Casey and her parents.
Because he was hired by her team, her lawyer, to look for Kaylee. And is now suing both Jose Baez and Casey for wasting his time. And for posting bond. He posted a $50,000 bond to get her out of jail. He had just little quirky insights that I thought were fascinating. He was in her home. He was in her home. He said. Here were the things that I thought were the highlights from the interview, which, by the way, we'll replay the interview for you tomorrow. But some of the highlights that I thought were, he said during no time did she cry or seemed at all concerned about Kaylee. Never sat down and said, hey, let me try to help you here, blah, blah, blah. Nothing like that. He also said that they nicknamed her. Miss what? Cruise director. They nicknamed her the cruise director. Because of her bubbly personality. Because she was constantly happy and bubbly. Making him dinner. That was the other thing. The other thing that I took away from it was that one of the members of Leonard's team was there. And the night that she got out of jail that he posted the bond for her.
She came home and she didn't like the way that her hair smelled from jail. So she wanted to take a shower, wash her hair. And then she got out and she made a macaron. She cooked for everybody. Macaroni, brownies, fish patties. She was like cooking and just bubbly and in a good mood. And finally, after seven days, Leonard started to go, something's not right here. And when the something's not right here, the turning point for him. was when she came up with this story that Zanny the nanny had, with an accomplice, pushed her down onto the ground and held her down and taken away her child because she was a bad mom. And Leonard was like, something ain't right here. He said, look, I didn't come all the way out here for you to waste my time. She stood up, got mad, and said, get out of my house. Don't talk to me like a cop. Don't talk to me like a cop. She said that, you know, it's interesting to me is she said that to a few people. She said it to her dad. You know, she said, you can't talk to me like a cop. I'm your daughter. And then she said it to Leonard as well. Don't talk to me like like some cop. This person does not want their name to be revealed. And so I will tell you that as I read you this, I'm just I have no idea the validity. But it says, Mikey, you guys nailed it.
I've confirmed through my buddy that Casey Anthony was flown into Carlsbad Airport last night on the attorney's private jet. The attorney named in your last interview. Our buddy is his personal pilot, so please shade the source as much as possible. I won't even read his name. This morning, the Today Show reported that Casey Anthony could possibly be in Carlsbad. Yesterday, we posed the question, what would you do if you ran into Casey Anthony? At the Forum in Carlsbad, you walk into the counter to have a hamburger and she's sitting there with a wig. Why do I feel like I'll be at Jimbo's in the counter a lot this week? Just cruising around. Well, listen, guys, listen. Magnum over here. You know what? I mean, for those of you that think, no, listen, she'd be crazy. She's going to stay inside a hotel room. This girl's been locked up for three years. She wants to get out.
Put out, too, probably, after three years. I said to my wife, I go, you know, the day that she was released, my wife goes, I bet she's with Jose Baez. I go, isn't he married? She goes, no, he's not. I thought he was. She said he's not. And I go, she goes, it just, it makes me sick that right now she's probably opening up champagne. And I go, she's not doing that. And she goes, yes, she is. She's probably having lobster and blah, blah. And I go, babe, she's not. And she goes. Why do you think she's not? I said, because it's 1.15 a.m. in Florida and she's in a resort and at 1.15 a.m. the kitchen doesn't do lobster. And she goes, okay. She goes, okay. She goes, but I'll bet you she's having, she goes, it makes me sick that she's having a hamburger and fruit. I said, you don't think she's having sex tonight, do you? And she goes, no, I don't think she is. She wants to escape. Do all the landscaping first. Yeah. I wonder if that's why Rebecca said that. Because Rebecca, as a woman, said, no, she's not. She's got a clean house. Really? I guarantee. Guaranteed. She's a Serbian right now, so there's no way. Serbian woman. As a woman, Lauren?
Do you think that that's what's on her mind? Oh, wow. That didn't take long for Lauren to answer. She probably wants to clean it all up. Okay. She could do it herself, though. She didn't have to go. Well, she still needs it. Excuse me. Sorry. I was wondering if we could make a deal and maybe not refer to it as it. I mean, everything, including its legs and stuff. Her legs. Oh, my gosh. Armpits. Oh, sure. Maybe a little crustache action. Got it. Eyebrows, unibrow. Yeah. Maybe a little spray tan. Just cut the split ends off real good. She's going to put, I bet she's going to put on a wig and sunglasses and maybe like a baseball cap. It'll be like a bright blonde wig. Yep. Which you'll notice. What would you do, L.O.B.?
Put yourself in, what would you do to disguise, to be able to go into Bed Bath & Beyond and walk around? Because you just want to experience life again. I would do a hat. Yeah. And as realistic of a wig as possible. And then maybe even like spectacles. Maybe not sunglasses because that's a dead giveaway. But like, yeah. Yeah. Ton of makeup. M1 Hawk. Woodsy's dad is calling in from Texas. Hi, M1 Hawk. How are you? Good. Hi, Dad. Lauren, you can turn off your headset for a minute. I actually made my first airplane trip since my surgery. And, guys, if the Y is ever away and you feel lonely, just wear a boot through an airport scanner. Did they get you? They do the full cavity search.
Wow. Then the boys get a free ride once the full pat-down starts. Wow. Oh, my God. I want to get a boot. Jay's going to get a boot and sign right up. Stat. I thought I was coming in from Columbia, South America. How's the leg? Everything good? Everything so far. Good. My dad tore his Achilles tendon. Oh, how painful. Right? Achilles tendon? Achilles right off the bone. Oh, wow. That's not fun. He is a tough... Just ravels back up like a rubber band. Oh, boy. Thank you. He's a tough dude. Yeah, it was right up behind your kneecap when they finally fished it out. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. He just got me. He just got me. She's taking Vicodin real good. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. It's worse than any surgery ever. Vicodin or the Achilles tendon? I wanted morphine and anything else they could give me at one point. But I bit the bullet and didn't go that way. Wow. Nothing? You didn't take any painkillers? For a day. And that was it. I wanted to get on it fast so I could get out of this thing. It's the most uncomfortable. There's just nothing you can do. Oh, my goodness.
I can't take a shower. I can't do anything. Poor guy. Well, Hawk, we wish you the best. We hope you get better soon. Thanks. Happy birthday, Steven. Thanks, Dad. See you soon. Bye. Love you guys. Love you. Love you. Maybe that's what's wrong with you guys. You both tore your Achilles tendons. It's his birthday. You can't do anything. I broke my ankle. You guys are booting it up real good. I actually broke my ankle. Did you? Didn't I? How's that x-ray? Do you want it? Because I'll get it for you. Jay, it's his birthday. Let me say it. I got a fruit. I need it. I need it. Where'd he go to school? Jay, leave him alone. Got him quiet. Where'd he get his medical degree? Just saying. Havard. Havard. You go to Havard? Havard. Staff nerd. You're a freaking liar. You didn't break nothing. He stole that boot from somebody. Don't think you can get away with it. Give me something to x-ray about. I want to go back to L.O.B. being Casey Anthony, please, if we could. Can we? Ask her more? Yes, I want to know more. What you would do, L.O.B.? I would probably get like a pedicure. You mean like that kind of stuff? Well, I mean like, how do you just, where do you go? Where do you go? I go to Montana. I go to North Dakota. I don't, I'm not in public. No, no, no, no, no. We got to have, we got to say like.
Got to assume she's in Carlsbad. Okay, assuming she's in Carlsbad, she's probably at a resort. She's not staying in the room, bro. She might be out by the pool. I'm going to go cruise the pools today. I'm going to go cruise the pools of Carlsbad. You're not just going to stay at a swimming pool. You're not going to be content with that. You've been in a jail cell for three years. You want to go to a movie. You want to go to a restaurant. Or the beach. Or the beach. The beach. The beach. The freaking beach. We need Casey Anthony M1 Lookouts. 100%. Taking pictures on their cell phones and sending them to the Facebook page. Maybe there's a freak shark attack today. And recorded this song in the bathroom earlier. This morning. On her phone. B feels that her song was better than Rebecca Black's new song called... About to prove you wrong. The only one who... I want to record a YouTube video of me listening to this song and being really like Mexican guy with tattoos, listening to this and getting like all into it. I can be like the chubby kid in the Star Wars viral video that was doing the Star Wars thing. The greatest. I could see you in woods driving down the road with the convertible top down, hands in the air, just singing. You should scale and be like, this is.
I film it like The Biggest Loser, so I have my shirt off and my big, like, gargantuan boobs hanging. My rhino gut. Rhino gut. Made even worse by L.O.B.'s. I think I put out a better product when I did it in 30 seconds in the bathroom. I agree. Yeah, I can't disagree. Your singing was good, too. That was a disgusting... Holy... Holy cow. Wow. I mean, that J. Minding the gutter. Going in there for the acoustic. That's right. Two birds with one stone. Stayed for the toilet paper. Toil paper. I went in for the acoustics, but stayed for the toilet paper. Toil paper. Angel song. Oh, my God. That's today's long-distance dedication called I'm an Angel. The Re-Fart Mix. The Re-Fart Mix. I'm Casey Kasem.
That one's going out to BFMC. Oh, man. Can I just say, Casey Anthony, if you're listening, Colin. Yeah. Yesterday, Woods goes, hey, Jay. Deadpan. Deadpan. Woods goes, hey, Jay, Casey Anthony might be in Carlsbad. I need you. to get her on the phone or in studio. Dead serious. Dead serious. And Jay's like, okay. Try. He will try. At least put the feelers out. Now, she's not going to answer any questions about the case. She's willing to talk about anything but the case. A hot body contest. She'll talk about any of that. She'll talk about that. Any of that, but not the case. What it was like to work at Universal Studios. What's Florida like in the summer? She'll talk about Florida. Is she scared of alligators? Yeah, she won't talk about the hot body contest because that had to do with the case. So she'll talk about Florida. Future hot body contest. She'll talk about Universal Studios. If it's hot inside the costumes. Right. Yes. Yeah, I just really don't want to talk about anything. I just kind of want to move forward, you know, and just kind of talk about what's going to go on in the future.
I'll talk about fruit. Yeah, fruit, soup. I'll talk about, I'll talk about canning. Carpeting. Canning. I like to can fruit. Jellies and jams. Were you eating fruit when you murdered your daughter? All right, well, I guess this is over. Shoot. I guess that's the end of this one. Sorry, Mike, she said fruit. I didn't mean, never mind. Jay says in his recap, just lost a close friend. That's the way it feels. When it's the last night of the final installment of Harry Potter. Jay. Sweet felt. My heart just skipped. I know, mine too. Mikey's doing it in my voice. I'm doing it in his voice. He lost his body or something. I love. I love. The ending. Hated the feeling that all my Harry Potter friends from the book are gone. J.K. Rowling come up with some more stuff for Harry and the gang to do. Five exclamation points. Oh my God. Come on. Hermione was just starting to get interesting.
You know what I mean. Rest in peace, potheads. He's truly a dichotomy. He really is. Wouldn't imagine that a guy that bikes 84 miles per day, surfs, skates, is into Harry Potter. No. Read the books. We do. We did. On tape. Nope. Why do you like Harry Potter? It's just, it's such an escape. I mean, it's such a good story. Well, there's two things, Mac, that are an escape for me. Harry Potter and marijuana. Wake and bake, potheads. But if you do them both together, that's really the key. With your daughter, Maddie. Right. With the children. Every once in a while, I'll say, hey, Maddie, roll daddy a jerk. Let's watch the Temple of...
Cauldron. Chamber of Secrets. Chambers. Temple of the dip asses. Temple of the... I'm sorry, it's no footloose. Damn straight it's not, pal. Footloose. Footloose. Two words. Jay, you make my day. Oh, I know. It's so great. I love them. Gosh darn, today's been fun. You should have a birthday all the time. Yeah. I'm kidding. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Happy birthday at once. I took a long old nap yesterday. HPD on that. I'm losing weight. Are you? Yeah, I'm drinking green. What's it called? Super green? Super green. And working out. Had to cancel Mondays. Why? I can't remember. Well, it must be important. That was yesterday, right? No, Mondays forever more. Oh, Mondays forever? You moved it to a different day? Mm-mm. Mm-mm. So you're down to how many days a week? Well, two, but...
Two, but they're, you know, good ones. Hard workouts. We got a Wednesday, Friday bit going. Thursday, Friday. Friday? Why do you even bother? What do you mean? It's torturing yourself. I'm losing weight. It's good. Super green. Makes you, you know, doing good. How much pounds have you dropped? How many? How much pounds you've dropped? Okay, man. I did it on purpose. Me drop. Five pounds. Five pounds? Five pounds. Five pounds. Nice. Me think. Good. Are you just eyeballing it? He looks down at himself. No, no, no. He looks about five pounds. Hey, no. Here's the deal. My belt. Ah. Just admit it. I wear a belt. All right. It's all right. Is it levels of tightness? Because I get that. No, loops. Okay. Oh. Nice thing you said.

A male cheerleader apparently fell down four stories but survived by doing a mid-air backflip to save his life. Hello. I thought you just said that a male cheerleader fell four stories and then did a backflip that saved his life. I thought you said that. I did. I did, in fact, say that. You know, that's not an easy thing to do, but if you are... so inclined and you're athletic and you already know how to perform these kinds of maneuvers, then you can do that. More than likely. And that's exactly what he did. He is a male cheerleader, 19-year-old Dylan Smith. And he's a male cheerleader for the University of Kentucky. And right now he's home after all of this happened. Earlier this week, he was teaching a class at a cheerleading school called Superior Cheer and lost his balance, fell from the fourth story building, but then his instincts kicked in and he did a backflip in midair. Thanks to the flip, he was able to adjust his body position and land right on his feet. And I don't know what the East German judges gave him for that, but...
I'm guessing probably a 10. He didn't stick the landing, though. He didn't stick the landing. He's teaching classes on the roof? I guess. He teaches on a field. Dislocated his hip, though. But he's doing good. He's doing good. Guy's going to be all right. Now, we were talking earlier about this email that we got. We got an email from an M1 that cleans windows. On buildings. And he said that he has a fear every day when he's up there that he will be sniped. Every day. Every day. Okay. Can you imagine? Very distracting. Can you imagine every day of your life, you're up there doing your thing and you're like, you're having your burrito at lunch and you're like, I made it.
I made it. I freaking made it. I'm halfway home. I'm halfway home. I'm halfway there. I'm halfway home. I'm halfway home. I know the feeling, though. Pretty much every morning, I think that somebody is going to jump out and kill me when I get into my car or when I walk into the building or in the elevator or the elevator is going to stop. That's a lot of irrational things. I have one when I'm walking down a sidewalk. I know. I just know that a car is going to jump the sidewalk and slam into me. Every time I'm walking down the sidewalk, like on kind of a busy street, I'm like, oh, boy, who's this kid driving? This kid looks like he's 16. I'm like, oh, God. I start to kind of ease away. I just know it. The reason it's great to me is because most of these are the types that when I hear them, I go, I never thought that. I never thought that. And I can get an irrational fear from anything. Like yesterday. Yesterday, Nita was playing with our twin boys in their room, and there's a lock on the door, but Ryan is taller than Luke and can reach the thing and open the door. Well, it goes to a little tiny balcony on the outside. And I'm like, they're going to crawl out. They're going to crawl out. They're going to crawl out. They're going to crawl out. They're going to crawl out. They're going to crawl out. That's pretty rational, though, I think, with a kid. But they don't know how to operate locks. Fair enough. Okay, they don't know how to operate locks.
And after operating the lock, they don't know how to open the door. Kids will make you think crazy stuff, though. They will. But I just have this irrational fear that I'm going to open the garage door and Luke's going to be there. And I'm going to be like, ah! Yeah, for sure. I have one with bridges, which I think Woodsy might even have. And a lot of people... Petrified. I'm pretty sure that it's just going to crumble when I'm going over it. So I have to put the windows down so there's not... too much pressure so I can get out. When it hits the water. Well, Woods has reason to believe that. Oh, wow. It's his birthday. It's his birthday, Jay. Whoa. Jay. Cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha. Bring on the big one. He has not eased up. Say, ooh, that hoe is big. I think he's... Seriously? That hoe? I think he's gotten worse. He's gotten worse. Fly, hoe. Jay. Ice beaver. All right. That was a happy birthday treat for me. My favorite. That's a tribute. Pull the curtain back and tell everybody what Jay's given you for your birthday. He's going to cook. Yeah, he's going to cook for me. He's going to grill for Woods, and what he's going to make was only chicken breast. Nope, and baked potatoes. And baked potato. For 40, he's going to cook. Yeah, that's expensive. For 40 people. No, I'm not paying for the food. Yeah, Woods is paying for it. I'm going to cook it. Now, I told Woods, only white meat.
That's not what I said. Listen, you ain't eating dark meat, fatty. Last thing Mike needs is dark meat. He'll never get home. I think that's what you said you wanted. I said, well, why don't Mikey grill that for him himself? Yeah, if Mikey wants dark meat. L-O-B. L-O-B. He can do it himself. Wait, what? Yes. Jay planned on only making white meat chicken. Yeah. I'm going to do big breasts with the bones in. Oh, yeah, you are. Yeah, I am. I'm going to do 40 of them. That's the creepiest. You know how hard it is to cook 40? But wait. HBD. What do you mean? What's his birthday? Okay, then he can cook it. I'll get him a gift. But that's your gift. I'll go, no. My gift, listen. He's lucky it ain't Tofurky. So now I need to go to the store. I got to buy all the stuff. And I got to buy white and dark? What the hell do I look like? He's bringing me a receipt. How big a barbecue pit do you think I have? I'm cooking for 40 people. Why don't you make some dark meat, too? Because it's easy just to do the breast. Because what I'm going to do is, okay, here we go. I'll lay it out for you. Listen, this is stuff I usually feed to my dog. I'm going to lay it out for you. What I do is... But before it becomes alligator bait, I'm going to use it for y'all. When I'm cooking for 40 or more people, when I'm doing a lot of chicken, I will boil it first.
So I boil all the same size pieces of meat because I boil it in the marinade for about 40 minutes. So if I boil drumsticks, the meat comes off the bone. So happy birthday. You're going to get chicken breast. You're going to get what you get. You're going to get what you get and you don't throw a fit. You're going to get what you get and then you're going to pay me for it. Yes, I ain't paying for it, but you are paying me. How much was Brett's barbecue? Oh, it's $600. Showing Brett's under the table. Brett's is delicious in Encinitas. I do like Brett's. You know what? They can shove it. Are they a new sponsor? I'm telling you right now. They can shove it. I'll cook them right under the table. Wait a minute. So... So... Is that what you want? for your birthday? It ain't about words. How often do you get to ask what you want for your birthday? I'm not a restaurant. I'm not a restaurant. Besides every birthday, Jay. So did you ask what you wanted? That's not a gift, but it's his meal. It's a gift. He's gifting me with his service, which I am thankful for. Because I was going to come over and he was going to help me, which meant I was going to do it anyway. I was just going to watch and smoke cigarettes.
Watch J. And nobody wants that. You boil the chicken in the marinade? That's badass. Yeah, it is. Because then you cook it. Then it doesn't take as long to cook. How do you boil 40 breasts? I have a big pot. Maybe throw some thighs in there. Throw some wings in there. Throw some wings in there. I tell you what, it'd be easy for you to do that. Oh, gosh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Then you can do that and I'll do this and then we'll just have all kinds of barbecue. Yeah! You said you wanted to grill something. But it's drumsticks sound so good. I know. I just had them last week and they were fantastic. Sounds good. We'll make some drumsticks. Yeah, you guys make some drumsticks. Does anybody else have irrational fears besides me of Jay? That's actually a rational fear. You should be afraid. It's actually a rational fear. I have one. What? I chew on a lot of stuff. As you guys have noticed, my pens are pretty gnarled. I have an irrational fear that one of my teeth is going to shatter into a million pieces. I have that all the time. Pretty rational, actually. Is it? Like shatter, though. Not like chip, but like in my mouth. Can that happen? I don't know, but I drink a lot of Dr. Peppers, too. When I'm stuck in traffic and I drive under a bridge, I have an irrational fear that there's going to be an earthquake and it's going to collapse on me. Every time. Every time I'm underneath that bridge, I think... In fact, sometimes I'll stop and I'll wait for the traffic to move past the bridge so that I can just... I have an irrational fear that somebody's going to frame me for murder. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding.
I really do, and I have a fear that I'll have to spend the rest of my life in prison because somebody framed me. We'll just get Jose Baez. Fair enough. Good to go. I really do. And you think to yourself, any day the cops are going to show up at my door. And be like, guess what, pal? Guess what we found. Found this gun, got your prints on it, and you're going down. Wow. And I'm sitting in an interrogation room, and my fear is it's 18 hours I've gone by. I haven't had no snuff. No DP. No eclair. Nothing. The essentials. The essentials. And I'm sitting there and I'm just like, fine, I did it. I freaking did it. I'm tired. You would do that. I would. You know me. You know me. Did you really kill somebody? No, I didn't kill anybody. He would be like, fine. You know I would. They could break me in probably two hours. I think Wood's giving a confession right now. I'm not giving a confession. He's a person of immediacy. Yes. I'm telling you, I have that fear.
570-1949. Do you have an irrational fear? When I get to the ledge of something, whether it be like a cliff if I'm hiking or if I'm at the top of the Space Needle or something, I'm convinced that I'm going to be the one that gets to the edge and trips or something. Because I trip all the time and I'm going to be the one that falls off the edge. Yeah. You would not be good at that. They have this glass bottom thing at the Grand Canyon where you can walk out like 50 feet over the Grand Canyon. No way. It's been so reinforced, L.O.B. Like, it's so reinforced. But I'd be the one. I know that I'd be the one. I got pine mouth. I have paralysis in my arm from a bee sting. Geographic tongue. That's true. It's true. So, I want to see if Woods will tell this story. It's maybe one of the funniest stories that I've ever heard him tell. He told it the other day. I said, you've got to say that on the air. And it's about your brother's friend. That's about my friend's brother. Your friend's brother at the bachelor party. I'm trying to, I really want to paint a good picture of what it looked like because it was ridiculous. We were in Vegas for a bachelor party. One of my best friends, Rob Mastros. And the bit on a bachelor party is you have to take your brother. If you have a brother, he's got to go. If he's of age. So he was there and they're different. You know, they're different. Rob likes to go to bars. Nick, his brother, likes to go to Comic-Con.
So that was the deal. Well, we go out. It's Saturday night. Saturday night, the big finale. Okay, we've got a limo. We've got reservations at some gentlemen's establishments. We've got dinner plans. So Saturday night was the big blowout night. The limo plan. Yes. Can I just say this? Fire away. Want people to know Woods and his boys. Sharp guys. This is like five years ago, so yeah. Sharp guys. Let's change. Explain what a night out for something like that would look like in terms of clothing. We were kind of cheesy. We had slacks. I had navy blue pinstripe pants and a white shirt and brown shoes, brown belt. It's different than I thought it would be. It's pretty sharp. It's pretty sharp. It was sharp. Okay. Someone in the group had a salmon-colored shirt on? I think Bob might have had a salmon-colored shirt on, but yeah. Some call it pink. Pinstripe pants, white shirt, button-down. Yeah. Long sleeve. Looked good. Yeah. Big watch, ready to go. Sharp. Hair was done. We were tanned, so we were ready to go out. Got it. And we had saved, you know, everybody saves their best outfit for the big blowout Saturday night. Well, we start to kind of filter down in the lobby. We've got to meet the limo at 7 o'clock. This is one of those deals where before the limo gets there,
You're making final preparations in the hotel room with the steamer. Oh, yeah. You're getting, like, ready. The steamer is going over the shirt to get all the wrinkles out because you packed it. So you're getting the wrinkles out of that sucker. Those things, it's going to look tight. Yeah, and you saved that outfit for the big blowout night. So we saunter downstairs and we're meeting up. There's about nine of us there, eight or nine of us. And he's one of the last to arrive. His name's Nick. And he walks down. He had on his jeans and a Merlin shirt. Merlin the wizard? Merlin the wizard, Mike. There's a picture of Merlin. Bearded? Bearded. White bearded Merlin. White bearded. Pointy hat. Crystal ball. Oh, he had a crystal ball? Yes. Crystal ball. And we... I looked at my friend Rob and said, you're joking.
You guys look like Vince Vaughn. Right. Yeah, we were ready to go. Walking in slow-mo out of the elevator. Then we had Merlin behind us. Following us. Jeans and a Merlin shirt. And tennis shoes. T-shirt or button-down? It was a button-down. Fancy Merlin shirt. Short sleeve. Oh, yeah. Short sleeve with Merlin. Wow. Crystal ball, the whole bit. You know, dragons and like fire in the back. Maybe it might have been a castle with a moat. The whole thing. And in my mind. I go, all right, so we've been here three. This is our third night here. He was saving this. This was the outfit that he was like, well, I'm going to save it because Saturday night's the big night. And we had reiterated, hey, Saturday night's the big blowout night. Take it easy. Don't blow yourself out tonight. Saturday night. Don't burn yourself out. Maybe he is in the room with a steamer. Yeah. Just steaming up Merlin. And he opened that closet and goes.
F yeah. This is the one. This is the one I've been waiting for. And he takes it off and puts it on and looks in the mirror and goes, hello. Yep. Let's do this. We're finally going to get our drinks. Oh, chicken, chicken. It was. And we looked and you had, you know, we were like. And then, but then the worst thing is you got to go out with a guy with a Merlin shirt on. Was he rooming with his brother? Like somebody had to get ready. No, no. His brother. Here's the deal. First of all, brother is used to that. Oh, yeah. No big deal. That's old hat. That's like, of course, that's what he wears. That's fancy. Yeah, and he's like, his brother is so used to it that it doesn't even register anymore. My brother wears Merlin. Yeah. That was his go-to. Poor guy. Every guy. Easy, Merlin. Yeah, we used to call them the never had a chances, right? Like when we had our certain outfits, the girls, they never had a chance. You know, that's what we would call them.
That was his never had a chance. Yeah. Well, he literally never had a chance. This is the deal. The psychology for me was, when I was thinking about it, because Woods told me this and I was driving home and I just was thinking about it. And I thought to myself, there was something, because we're men, there was something masculine and very like, oh yeah. Women will fall to pieces. And the reason is because, hello, it's freaking Merlin. Who is more of a badass than freaking Merlin? Merlin. Did he score? He did not. In his mind, he did. Is there a girl that goes, Oh, wow.
He's got a Merlin shirt on. Is that Merlin? I've seen them. I've seen Merlin shirts. I've seen one like that. It got me. There are girls, but you're not going to find them in Vegas unless there's some sort of Dungeons and Dragons convention. Yes. He scored with a pay-per-view movie in his room, I believe, later. But not in the traditional sense that you and I think of when you say scoring. Different way. Different way. Self-score. Hand-to-hand combat. All right. Going to war. All right. All right. I won't add mine in there. I keep going for a while. Me too. Is that an 87, Merlin? You know that. Where'd you get it? At the mall. At Spencer's. Spencer's. No, at the mall. Can I take a picture? Absolutely. No, me not. Office workers said...

I got Woods sitting across from me. He's a pretty good looking guy. Hey, welcome. I got Mikey now looking over my shoulder. Hold on a second. Lurking. You're lurking, Mike. You're lurking. Catch on like AIDS. He's kind of...
A little over the top. A little over the top, you think? Like a common cold. Let's see. Wildfire might have been a better reference. So here is the deal. Apparently, the worst thing that you can wear and the most inappropriate thing that you can wear in the office for the summer is flip-flops. Oops. Yeah, you see, flip-flops is a big no-no. Unless you work at a radio station. In which case, that is regular attire. prerequisite, actually. We're pretty lucky. We're pretty lucky because we work in a type of job where it's just okay. We could do that. You don't have to shower or shave or fix your hair ever. I don't. I haven't cut my hair in months. Yeah? Well, good, because you might have to shave a fryer cut into it if the Padres win six in a row. But 75% of Americans think it's okay to dress more casually at work during the summertime, but 71% say flip-flops are not.
Something that would be acceptable. Is it the noise or the look? It's got to be the look. The look. Miniskirts finished as the second most inappropriate thing to wear. Out of my list. To the office during the summer. That had to have been only women responding to that. One would think. Yeah, because a man's not going to tell women no miniskirts. Would a man say? Well. I think that's inappropriate for a woman to wear a miniskirt. Men and management. Who's wearing it? Men and management. Yes. I would say. Strapless dresses came in third place. That's ridiculous. Gosh, yeah. That's absurd. Shorts came in fourth place. And for the record, men objected to flip-flops the most. And it does say women objected the most to miniskirts and strapless dresses. Weird. What'd they say about backwards ball caps? They didn't. Nothing. They didn't mention backwards ball caps. It's Woods' bit. Every day. Let's see. There was a Marine that asked Betty White to the Marine Corps ball. I guess that's the bit now. And here's the story. Hey, it's me, Sergeant Ray Lewis, like the football player. Yeah, I know you like football players. Anyways, since I figured we had one Marine asking Mila Kunis out to the Marine Corps ball, then we have another Marine.
asking out Justin Timberlake to the Marine Corps ball, I figured, hey, why not? Why don't I ask somebody out to the Marine Corps ball? So I figured I'm going to ask. Hold up. I would like to take Betty White. She's just funny. She's sweet. She's mature. She's easy. She's the all-around. You know, she fits out. Oh, gosh. Oh, wow. We have a good time. I'm fun. You know, I'm going to be performing. I think I can make her laugh. I think she can make me laugh. I think we can laugh together. It's going to be great. Okay, great. You ever just copy people's bits? Try to do stupid stuff with them? She's filming a movie called Hot in Cleveland and said no. She can't. He was turned down by Betty White. So he's got that going for him. Let's see. This is Story of the J. Let's talk to Betty White.
from News of the Day. Let's talk to... Every voice is weirder than the last. Sounds kind of like a Muppet when it's hot. Let's talk to Betty White about not being able to go. Hi, is this Betty White? Hello, lovely son. How are you? I'm fine. Oh, you sound sexy. How's that, Betty? I say you sound sexy. Thank you. It's Betty White on the line. Why don't you break off a piece for me? How's that? Why don't... Don't you break off a piece for me. Betty. Yes, sir. Are you originally from Wisconsin or? Oh, you're so good. Dublin. Where are you originally from, Betty White? Dover. Dover. I like to bend over. All right. Thank you.
When it's high. Oh my gosh. Yeah, he's really something else, isn't he? Wow. Let's see. Should we do I Hope You Don't? We did this once. Should we do I Hope You Don't? Sure. Okay, here's how it works. You know the people here on the Mikey Show. And so you call us and you say, I hope you don't. Now. For instance, you could say, Woods, I hope you don't throw your butts out the window. You know, right? Yeah. You could say, L-O-B, I hope you don't give your BFMC that much of a hard time at home. You could say, Mikey, I hope you don't. See what it is? It's to clear up.
Misconceptions. Jay, I hope you don't act that perverted off the air, which the answer would be, unfortunately, that he does. Yes, at all times. He does. So, 570-1949. I hope you don't. Can we clear up a misconception? Woods, I hope you don't get written up by Ken Layton, you know. True statement. Too late. Too late. Mikey, I hope you don't dislike gays. Big one. Big hot topic. Big hot topic on me. Hot butt. Light subject. Yes. It could be a light subject, too. It could be whatever you want. Yeah. Misconceptions. Misconceptions. 570-1949. Let's see. We got to talk about Sarah Palin's deal, too. Her documentary. Her documentary did not do well. At all.
Oh, oh, oh. This too. Want to let people know you got nine days, 10 hours, 19 minutes until the Wipeout viewing party at Dave and Buster's. That thing's going to be great. Woods and Jay were on the show Wipeout. Hollywood. Hollywood. Oh, boy. And you're going to get to see them on the episode on July 28th, 7 to 9 p.m. And that's when we're going to be doing our Wipeout Viewing Party, Dave and Buster's Mission Valley, and Power Cards. Will you guys tell me how it goes? You're going to be there. I'm not. I won't be there. I won't be there. You're going to be fine. Yeah, we're working on getting the red carpet out for you that you requested. Get on. I've almost got the limo traded out, too. So give us a call for I Hope You Don't. I love this guy. Today's Woodsy's 36th birthday. Yeah, big 36. What's the wife going to make you for dinner? Wife is going to make me tonight, by request, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, birthday cake with vanilla ice cream. Nice. Very nice. Fresh DP. I love it. Watch a little Notting Hill later? That could be. You never know. It's one of Woodsy's favorite films. It is a great film. It's code word also. Yep. Oh, my gosh. That's exactly what it is. Oh, my gosh. Remember? Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, wow. She's very... Very crass. Well... I was just trying to give you a visual. I got it. I got it. Horses jumped off the diving board. Did a backflip. There was a winning lottery ticket sold at the fair. It's worth $460,000, but nobody's claimed it. Get some. It's a winning Fantasy V ticket. And it was purchased at the fair. $461,407. Wow. Unclaimed. And so if you bought it, I would go and try to claim that. Cash it in. Imagine the person was eating like corn on the cob.
Licking their fingers and was like, oh, I got it all over this. Threw it away. The winning numbers were 28, 24, 33, 39, 18. If that's you, you might want to contact the lottery commission because you want a lot of money. You know what? I saw this thing on 2020 that they did this undercover sting operation, the California lottery. And they had people walk in with like $25,000 winning tickets. that worked for the lottery, and they would give it to the person. The person would scan it and go, ah, you won $10. Give them $10. Oh, no. And claim it. Wow. Mother. Yeah. Some of them were like $100,000. And they would scan it, and it tells you right there. It says, this is a winning ticket for this much. It tells you. And they were like, you know who it was? It was NBC, and it was Chris Hansen. Weird. Yeah, I know. And so he would go back in and he would say, did you sell a winning lottery ticket here to that lady that just walked in? And the guy would go, no. And he said, well, that's interesting because we've got, well, let me show you. And he would take out the DVD thing and open it up and he showed it to him. And he would go, it obviously tells you on the machine that they won $100,000. And the guy was like.
I'm stupid. And he goes, what did you say? I am stupid. What do you mean you're stupid? I knew it was wrong. I should not have done. Wow. And then they show him handcuffing the guys, taking them out. Good. Yeah. I mean, but it wasn't, I mean, it was a few people. And then they, they also showed some honest people. You know, they showed a woman that was like, you just won $25,000. And the guy was like, no way. He worked for the lottery commission. No way. What do I do? She goes, well, you got to go, you know, call this number, gave him the thing. But a lot of people, man, you got to be careful. If you buy a lottery ticket, I'm just saying, I wouldn't just trust it to the beeping thing. Maybe they should put it where it shows you that you won. Yes. Face outward. It should. Yeah. Because what they showed was this one guy, you know, he does the deal.
And he owned this liquor store, whatever it was. The guy won $10,000. And he said, you won $100. Gave the guy $100. The guy walked out of the store. And what he did was, he scanned it, and he goes, you won $100. And he threw it in the trash, opened the register, and gave the guy $100. Wow. And then when the guy left, he took it out of the trash and celebrated with a co-worker. Monster. Yeah, monster. Speaking of, there was a 21-year-old woman on Monday night in Indianapolis that went into a grocery store and brought along her 4-year-old son and her 2-year-old son. But when she went into the store, she left them locked in the car with the windows rolled up. It was 88 degrees outside at the time. So that would have made the temperature inside the car 97 degrees. So a 32-year-old woman is walking by.
And she sees the four-year-old pushed up against the window screaming bloody murder. So she went over to try to help the boys out. Right when that happened, this woman's coming out to her car and decided that she was going to slam the woman in the face or trying to help her kids. Cops came, questioned them, and she was arrested for neglect and battery. Good. Yeah. Good. Yeah, of course. A lot of trouble. New releases. We do have new releases today. Yes, sir. The new Three Doors Down record, Time of My Life, is out. They sound like older guys now. They do. Doesn't hold up, doesn't it? No. It sounds like Journey when Journey got old. Yeah. And they were trying to bring back the magic. And before they got their new Filipino amazing singer. Yeah. The new 311 is out, Universal Pulse.
That sounds fresh. They're getting older, too. Yeah, it does. A lot of older guys just bringing out a lot of stuff. This one got me. The old guitar player for Doc and George Lynch, his new record. Singing? No, he plays guitar. This is Bill Jackson. Sounds better than the other two we heard. No Wicked Sensation, but it's a hate. That's true. The new Portugal The Man record is out, In the Mountain, in the Cloud. I never liked this band much. They Might Be Giants doing us. They Might Be 105. I did find the weirdest song I could find on there, though. They Might Be Old. They Might Be Senior Citizens. When I started in radio in 1988, we played They Might Be Giants. That was 155 years ago. You know what they do now, though? This is probably...
Not it, but they make children's music. Welcome people to Walmart. They do? Yeah. They make amazing children's music. I could sing you one of their songs by heart. They work at Costco and hand out the flyers. No, no, no. They might be giants. Hello, welcome to Costco. We might be giants. Hello, welcome to Costco. We might be giants. We might be giants. Tell them the story, raindrop. Tell them the story, raindrop. When do you listen to this? Anytime. Shooting heroin. Working out. Yes. Working out or shooting heroin? That sounds like a kid's song. Yeah, right? Is that one of their kid's songs? No, it's not. Please get it. I love it. I like it, too. You don't like it, Jay. You don't like it. You don't. Ask my wife. You don't. I love it. Hey, listen. I roll a fresh marijuana cigarette. I sit in the hot tub, and I drink mimosas, and I listen to They Might Be Jones. I'm a story ranker. I'm a story ranker. This is pretty cool, too.
Tim Robbins and the Rogues band has a new... Tim Robbins, the actor. It's his new band. Let's check this out. That about does it? It's instrumental. Is that him singing? It's not, though. Josie walked down to the holy land. Oh, wow. I found not one sickle in her. Walking from a history none other. It's Andy Dufresne. It's Nucla Luce from Bolduro. Well, what I'm trying to think is, okay, if I didn't know that was Tim Robbins and I played that, what would I think? What genre? After you woke up? Yeah. Coffeehouse rock. Good music. Terrible voice.
He's kind of going for country. He's doing Jeff Bridges' bit. I guess. And then there's some stuff out on DVD today, too, that you'll want to check out. Like what? When you get the chance. Okay. What is it? Such as? Some stuff. There's a new Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro movie out called... All right. Cool. Well, that's good. All right. What's up, Liz? What? Infinity? What is it called? Hillary, what do you want? No help. Thanks, guys. Limitless. Limitless. It's out today. Limitless is out today. Is that a guess? Limitless. I'm going to play the song that Dave Grohl about a month and a half ago called the best song of 2011. Nice. And it is not a Foo Fighters song. I'm going to play the Naked and Famous, some Crackers, some Butthole Surfers, Pinback, and Desert Island Discs at noon. They're going to be good. There you go. Lovely and talented Hillary is coming up next. Enjoy the rest of your day. We'll be back at 6 tomorrow. We'll do it all over again. The Mikey shows up. A Lincoln Financial Media Station. Nope. Haven't met him yet either. But we sure appreciate the benefits in 401k. FM 94.9. It's about the music.
