The show revisited Mikey, Woods, and Jay’s Wipeout viewing party, where Woods suffered a broken ankle and concussion after slipping on a lubricated crankshaft and being bag‑tagged by Jay. They discussed the obstacle course’s slippery elements, heard caller Scott’s injury recount, and held a football‑throw contest with a fryer‑cut wager. Later segments featured embarrassing in‑laws stories, a live proposal to Nikki Judkins, Chargers roster news, and a feature on Norway’s Halden prison. Throughout, the hosts balanced humor with personal reflections on vacation, hope, and their on‑air dynamic.

Yes, me and Woods and Jay are very tired, but we're doing okay. I mean, I think we're doing okay. You know, I worry, I look into Woods' eyes and I see, good for you, pal. Good for you for doing okay. Speak for yourself. But Woods has got a couple things that have got him a little bit on the spun out thing. Like six or seven. First of all, last night was one of the most amazing nights of his life. Yes. And Jay's too. Cool. And on top of that, you know, so he's got all the excitement and the adrenaline of being on national television on Wipeout last night. But then L.O.B. months ago requested this day off so that she could fly back to New Jersey. Now, little did we know that during that period, This company was going to lay off 15 people with our news girl being one of them. And so when our news girl got laid off, me and Woods and L.O.B. picked up the slack. Correct. Well, no L.O.B. So now it's Woods. You know, all I'm doing is reading the stories. And so Woods is high on the adrenaline of last night and then has to come in, put all the news together, study it.
And then do sports on top of that. Yes. And so you'll excuse the kid if the kid is a little frazzled today. Well, yeah, and then throw into the mix that I've got to do the schedule of what we're going to do. And I've got to plug all that stuff in, which I have never done. I've never done. L.O.B. gave me, she teed me up real sweetly. But still, I'm like, oh, my God, it's the perfect storm today. No, no, no. That looks good. All the work that you've done is perfect. You're a hero. Give it time, pal. Give it time. All right. Now, we have... I don't even know where to begin. I mean, how do you begin this? What we're doing this morning is a journey. Because we have so much to talk about in and out of the news, plus last night. And basically getting right up the fire code at Dave and Buster's. In a room... In a room... that I would say capacity had to have been 400 people, 500 people? Something like that, yeah. I mean, just, I don't know, but four to 500 people, and there were people, well, we'll get to it. So, since LOB is in New Jersey right now, what you got today is a sausage fest. Yes. Wiener time. Wiener time. Wiener time. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 41.
Woods is our sports guy and TV star. And he is 36. Jay is our producer and TV star. He is 48. And our phone screener is Chris. That's Krause. So last night was a big night for all of us because last night, ladies and gentlemen, was as big as I could have imagined it. It was bigger. What I'm talking about. And let me tell you, my wife pointed this out to me last night, and it is undeniably true. And any former P1s that are listening, that are now M1s that are listening, the old version of the Mikey Show, which was very successful, had been at Dave & Buster's and done events. We'd used both that room and we'd used another room. What happened there last night blew away anything that the old version of the Mikey Show had done.
There were more people there than when we'd ever been there before in the past, ever. There were more M1s there last night. I mean, it just was, it boggled the mind. First of all, they were already in line to get into the Dave and Buster's viewing party for the show Wipeout because Woods and Jay were on the show Wipeout. Woods is our sports guy, Jay's our producer, and they were selected out of 75,000 applicants to be on the show Wipeout. And last night we did a viewing party in Mission Valley at Dave and Buster's. And the line was out the door hours before they opened up the room to let people start coming in. Blew my mind. Blew everybody's mind. They filled the room in very, very quick time. They filled that room. And there was overflow of people that they had to turn on TVs outside of the room to accommodate.
And I am talking standing room only. In fact, when I say fire marshal, it's a good thing the fire marshal wasn't there because it was standing room only. I mean, there were people there. You can see pictures of it on Facebook. Go to Facebook.com slash Mikey show. And you can see pictures of that room just absolutely packed to capacity to see what Wipeout ended up calling. are shock jocks. Yes. It was boss and employee. And, you know, Jay's the producer of the show and so he was the boss and Woods was the employee and they called you guys shock jocks. Well, from a couple of airborne lawyers, we take you to a couple of on-air outlaws. It's radio personality Stephen Wood and his producer Jay Isbell. Did you say disc jockeys or fist jockeys? Oh, mama, that hurt. Wow, that is a serious shock to the jock. So who is...
Who's the boss and who's the employee? I'm the boss. You're the boss. I'm the big boss. Uh-huh. You're the big boss. And what's a radio show? I'm the big boss. Yeah. I'm the boss of everything. Are you? Yep. I'm the boss of everything. He's the little boss. Well, we have somebody there, but we put him in the category of little boss. Because he's diminutive. Did you ever see the movie The Wizard of Oz? Remember the Lollipop Guild. You ever seen Fantasy Island? Yeah. That little guy. And same color, too. He's brown. Yeah, the guy that said the plane, plane. That little dude. Looked just like him. A lot of that. There's a lot of that stuff going on. Did you just? Every day. Yeah, there's a lot of that. So that's why they're calling slapstick. Slapped him in those boys. He slapped him right in the nuts on national television. Bag tagged him. Bag tagged him right on national television. Jay didn't see it coming. Nobody saw it coming. Back of Woods' right knuckles went right into his crotch. That was a shot, too. That was a good shot. Yep. Shock Chucks headed for the Jigolator. Boss Jay first to take on the assignment. Trying to use this as a springboard to his next gig. Hey, looks like Fluffy and Spot are finally getting some company. Welcome to the pound, Jay. Our puppy's giving this jock a good sniff. Yeah, well, only one way to get out of the doghouse. I'll give him a face for radio. Oh, you felt weird. Employee Steven stepping up to the mic and onto the Jigolator. Sure, sweet now. Ah, sweet harassment. It's the only reason the Shock Chucks get out of bed every morning.
Oh, really? Before you get yourself in a twist here, shock jocks, don't think of this as a competition. Think of it as a relaxing corporate retreat. Oh, my. Yeah. Oh, my. If you were there last night, we'd love to hear from you. 570-1949. Open phones. Anybody wants to call in, you can. And M1 is a Mikey Show listener. And let me tell you, the Mikey Show army, the M1 army, the M1 nation is growing and growing and growing. And it has exceeded anything I ever thought it would. And last night was that indication. I mean, just unbelievable. Good to see old friends. Good to see new friends. And that thing is just growing like crazy. And we got clips from Wipeout. We're going to be playing for you. I just want to let you know really quickly that the word of the day today is lava. And I'll say it sometime between now and 10 when I do. You need to call us and be caller nine and you'll get tickets to two major. You'll get tickets to Kid Rock with Sheryl Crow at Cricket Wireless, and we'll also give you a pay-per-view for UFC 133. Nice. So, yeah, we got two great prizes. Woods is going to tell you all about what's happening with the Chargers coming up here in a minute. That's big news. Big, big happenings in Charger land, and it has to do with Darren Sproles. So we'll be telling you about that.
570-1949. If you were there last night, we want to hear from you. Woods and Jay on Wipeout last night. Now, if you've never seen Wipeout, the idea of the show is that you've got to make it through a gigantic obstacle course created for the sole purpose of making you Wipeout. Yep, trying to kill you. And you've got to wear a helmet, knee pads, life jacket. I mean, they just... It's insane, and it's all built over water. Or mud. Or mud. Sign your life away. Yeah, you do. Yeah, so that if you get hurt, it doesn't matter. Many did. Yes. Now, this is a gigantic platform with a, picture a giant clock with moving hands, and that's what this apparatus looked like. And when the hands would come around, you'd have to jump through these moving crankshafts. And this is what Woods said when he saw it. All right. Break time is over, people. Get back to work. These guys are super motivated. We're dead. We're dead. We're dead. We're dead. We're dead. Yeah. Well, you know, nothing motivates like fear, Johnny. You sound like my name. I'll tell you what. When you're standing on that platform and they pile you all onto one. Right.
They start that SOB going so fast. 12 people. And this is what you don't know. That crankshaft and those rings have lube on them. They're lubed. They're lube. Oh, my. There's a greasy film on it. Yeah. And when you touch it, you forget it. You're going to fall. Yeah, you're toast. A lot of the platforms have it, too. So when you step on it. Oh, yeah. And on that one, that second one that you just played the clip of, those platforms, the platforms are so. freaking far apart they don't look it they don't look it dude they're it feels like six feet i mean it's ridiculous we were standing there waiting to go and i look over at woods and he is white yeah he's gone white in the face and he is he's like dude don't talk to me do not talk to me i don't do not pump me up do not do anything i'm i think we should quit what what you you you were like i'm out you were out oh i just didn't think i could do it he stood there for a minute longer and then he goes Okay, now I'm back. I'm ready. I was like, what in the world is going on with you? It was a mental screw, man. It was. So here comes the crankshaft. Shock jock boss stretching out a bit. Crankshaft ahead. Calmly up and smoothly over. Using the old insult the boss technique. In your face. Go bird. Go bird. He's down. He's calling him bird because he's Jaybird. Jaybird. Jaybird. And 570-1949. Give us a call.
This is M1 Scott from San Diego. Hey, it was so great last night. Before I talk about it, I just, for Woodsy, I know L.O.B. is not there today, and I know you've got a lot of work to do. It's going to be difficult, so I've got an idea. Maybe just quit. I'm so kidding. I'm so kidding, brother. Your ankle was broken, buddy. Scott, thank you very much for bringing that up. Because what America does not know. The ankle was broken, right? Dude, when he got shot out of that cannon and hit the water, he snapped his ankle. No, that wasn't there. That wasn't where? No. Where did you do it? On the iron. The rotator thing? The iron mazen. Now, also, what it didn't show you is I fell off that thing four times? Yeah. Four times. It showed me falling twice. The one fall that got me, I fell from the top of it to the bottom. I slid all the way down, and that's when I hit my thing. What really worked me, what really worked me and made me gimp was when I smacked my head. I smacked the back of my head into like this jutting out point. And then I snapped my ankle. Then I fell in the water for the fourth time. And I was like, I came up out of the water and I thought I was going to die. I was like, I couldn't breathe. I was like, well, I'm toast. It was the worst. I have a question. I have a question. I know your ankle is broken. So everyone has to understand.
I totally get it. Did you know you had 20 minutes? Oh, dude. Yeah, let me paint this picture for you. Out of all the clowns to go on this thing, who do they pick to go last? Me. Okay? So I'm laying up on a 70-foot scaffold, rickety, it's cold outside, and I hear the first guy go, and I hear him finish. Then I hear Jay go, and I hear him finish. Then I hear the other guy go, and I hear him take forever. So I know in my head, dude, Woods, finish, you win. Finish, and you just got 50 grand. The pressure of that on top of that I was already crapping my pants, that put me over the edge, dude. That put me, and I was like, all you got to do is finish, and you got this. It was frightening. We were up on that platform. This was a narrow platform. It was 75 feet up. We were laying there on our backs because we couldn't watch what was going on. The whole tower is shaking. You're just waiting for your turn. You hear everything. But I have a theory about why they made you go last. Why? Weak Link. Wouldn't they make the weak link go first? No, because if you don't finish, it just... Oh, yeah. You're probably right. I mean, probably... Jay is the wipe-out master. There's nothing that they can throw at the guy that he can't do. He was the one strategizing everything. He gave me the strategy to win that thing, and I just... I...
Crapped in the bed, dude. All over my pants. I was like, I went the absolute opposite way that I was supposed to go. You were so close, though. You almost, like, two times. You almost, you misstapped by the interaction of an inch. I hit the platform. You hit the platform. It was so close. If he'd have made it his first time through, he'd have been golden. Oh, Don, we'd be sitting on 50 grand. Oh, my gosh. It's the worst. Go ahead, Scotty. What's that? I'm saying Jay's a hero because when you quit, Jay took it better than I did at home in my bed. Oh, I'm sure. No, you didn't see all of it. You didn't see all of it, though. What did we not see? Well, you know what? Before we get there, there is still so much that we got for you. In fact, when Woods would wipe out, as you know, sometimes Woods has a tendency to say some words.
Oh, my. I'll tell you, on that second, that was round two. It's the spinning rings and the crankshaft. And when I saw Jay finish, when I saw him finish, in my head I go, all right, USLB, you got to get to that finish line and you got to get there now because that guy's going to fillet you if you don't. Round two, I mean, we got to get past round two. Yeah. Got to. M1 Castile from Escondido. What's up? Good morning. Last night with my wife, we were lucky enough to have a seat. Love the show, love woods, but Jay, you're the man. Thanks, man. No doubt. Dude, the guy, he really, really dominated that course. He did. He's grizzly freaking Adams, dude. It's true. I mean, the guy, I mean, at one point, he had the people on the show going, oh, wow. Oh, wow. Look at Jay. Yeah. Which is pretty cool. Thank you, Castile. We appreciate it, man.
This is M1 Shorty from Chula Vista. What's up? What's going on, guys? Not too much. Congratulations, man. Thank you. You guys got down, man. It takes a lot of nuts to do what you guys did. Thank you, man. I can't even imagine it. I can't even imagine. This is the most scared I've ever been. And I've told my wife and people in my family that when I was in that shoot, For the last thing, and we'll talk about it later, I could hear my heart beating. I've never been more scared in my life. Knowing that we were going to do it, I couldn't eat. Yeah, we were a wreck. Butterflies in my stomach like you wouldn't believe. We've been up since 3.30, and we filmed at 10? Yeah, it was impossible. It was so good to have somebody there with me, like Woods, because we kept each other. You know, we'd look at each other. We got this. We got this. Dude, we thought. I mean, I knew. I actually left a note for my wife the day we went to the finals. And I said, I'll be coming home with $50,000 tonight. No question. I knew we were going to win. I knew it. Wow. I knew it. So close. We will get to all of it. We're going to play all of this for you. If you're just tuning in, we're recapping Woods and Jay on the TV show Wipeout last night. 570-1949.
Is the number if you want to call us. Woods wiping out. Here's shock jock boss Jay. And just like that, this race is tied up three ways. Next guy through gets his team through. You got this, buddy. Open frequency for the shock jock employee, Steven. The finish is dead ahead. Right there. I was on. I would have been that we would have been the first team to finish round three. I was on the last platform. I went for the dismount onto the finish. Yep. And the thing shifted. And I missed it by, you know. They worked you. They worked me. And when I hit the water again, I was like, dude, holy crap, man. I was right there. I was so close to doing as well as Jay did. You know, I was so close. And then you have to start all over again? Yeah, well, on a certain part. Or do they bring you about halfway? About halfway. And it's a long swim. The swim is brutal. How do they get you there? You swim. You swim. You swim to the midpoint? Yeah. Climb up a huge ladder.
Then you get up to the top of the platform and, hey, listen, I'm not in the world's greatest shape. I'm not going to sit there and pretend that I am. What? When I'd get to the top of that platform, I'd be like... A couple times he just laid there. I laid there. I'd be like, oh, my God, catch your breath, catch your breath. Plus the adrenaline and all that, you're just... You can't imagine it. Yeah. Let's see. 500. Only one team will move on. Will it be the maestros of comedy or the shock jocks? He didn't do it. He didn't do it. They'll do great, John. They graduated from the school of art. Knock, knock. And they're off again. Shock, shock, and boy Steven screaming out across the street sweeper. The only man who couldn't beat. They really had to point that out? Wait, what does that mean? Oh, in the first round of round three. Yes, you were the only one who didn't make it all the way across. Breeze is through the street sweeper. And it's boss Jay trying to stay right on his bumper.
Now on to the spinner change. Maestro of Comedy Patrick chasing down the shock jocks. Oh, but he gets heckled. Shock jock Jay running good at the stuttering straightaways. Here comes his employee, Steven. This may be a one-team race to the flag. Yeah, don't count the maestros out yet. There is still a lot of race left. Oh, the strength of Carrot Top himself. Maestro employee Patrick saves him. They're going to need more of that kind of effort to catch up, Johnny. Come on, J. Burr. Trying. Come on, old Tyra. Listen to that. Shock jock employee trying to help his boss over the hill. Oh, a little damage to his grill. But his employee Steven is right behind him. And so is the maestro of comedy Patrick. Shot, shot Jay onto the finish platform. He just needs a sidekick and they'll be moving on. Maestro of comedy employee Patrick gets up in the wall. It's a comedy of errors. Two lanes, no traffic for shot, shot employee. Maestro Sean's got a blowout, too. Yeah, Maestro Sean with some ill-timed physical comedy. Now, if you have questions for these guys about what goes on behind the scenes or even about what you saw on Wipeout last night, call us. 570-1949 is the number. And, you know, that will you can get an opportunity to ask questions that, hey, I want to know how this works and what goes on and all that stuff.
Before we give you what happened at the very end, we want to let you know, we want to play this way. Because that, what you just heard there, effectively eliminated Woods and Jay from the Wipeout Zone, which is the very end of the show where two teams compete against each other. Yeah, it was me and another guy on the final platform. And he went for it and made it. I had made it. I was there. He was there. I was there. I mean, my chest. My chest hit the pad, dude. It was it. And I fell. He fell into the water. Wiped out. And then, you know, when we were on the final, he, like, beat me to the deal. So they were, Woods and Jay eliminated, and these other two teams moving on to the final, to the wipeout zone. But listen to this. Two teams remain. They are the maestros of comedy, Sean and Patrick, and the X-Ray men, Ryan and Nick. Ah, but Johnny, we have a late update. In a shocker, a last-minute change we're going to make here. X-ray boss Ryan injured his shoulder during the last event, meaning he and his employee Edgar will not be competing in the wipeout zone. They have withdrawn from the competition. Indeed, but the show must go on, my friends. So taking their place will be the shock jocks Jay and Steven. The FCC can't get rid of these guys, and apparently neither can win. Making it to the finals. Woo!
One team versus another team. Jay and Woods is a team versus the maestros of comedy. Call us 570-1949. We got Chargers stuff to tell you about next. Don't go anywhere. Show coming up. On FM 94.9. Okay. Chargers news coming up here in just a second with what happened to what happened in Chargers land yesterday because something big did happen. It has to do with Darren Sproles.
And if you don't know, we'll be telling you about it here in just a second. Our number is 570-1949 if you want to call us. And you can also text us 949mikey at gmail.com. Okay, so Jay and Woods make it into the finals. All right, they make it to the wipeout zone. And we're talking about Jay and Woods versus some clown versus another clown. Good guys. Good guys. Did you talk to them and like them? We loved them, dude. We did. The two radiologists that dropped out, they're from here. Yeah. And they were, you know, we didn't really talk to those guys, but these two guys we really liked and bonded with. Like a pretty, you're in that thing together and you're like, oh my God. And the one, the real sharp cat was like, he was like me. He was a psychopath. Yeah. He was worried and just like. Right. Just nauseous. You know, he was one of those guys. So we obviously hit it off. So here is Jay working his way through this obstacle course. The Iron Maizen. It's called the Iron Maizen.
Pressure on the shock jocks to put up or shut up. First, it's going to be the boss, Jay. Let's see how he and his employee, Steven, made it to the wipeout zone. Shock jocks Jay Isbell and Steven Woods agitated the other contestants this morning by taking second place in the qualifier. They had to be taken seriously as they racked up a big win at Total Cardinals. But this duo truly shocked Everett and they failed to advance. to wipe out 500. Now a freak dropout puts them back in the hot seat and they're set to prove that they deserve a shot at $50,000. Here we go, Johnny. Second man up on the night. Shock Jock Boss Jay trying to take advantage of that second chance gift. Standing at the ready or so he thinks because this is going to take his breath away. The lights and the countdown leading to the hat. Oh, escorted from the flume of doom. Danzo, it's the flume of doom. I say it's the flume of doom because it is just tossing contestants around today. And Jay is no different. A terrifying and goosebump-raising entrance into the wipeout zone. True. And now it's the Iron Maize, which is just as terrifying. And Jay playing for two here. That's right. It's the best combined time that matters. Our shock jock with a solid start. Crawling into the red half of the maze already. Now he can exit when he finds that opening. Hitting by a water blast. Wow. Yeah, he made that. Extremely impressive. The ball is showing how it's done on his first. Already ahead of the maestro of comedy space.
And he wastes no time hopping right on the Axel of Evil. Wanted, done, or just done here. Flipped off and finished. The Axel of Evil earning its name here. He couldn't get good position, and when he got to that platform, slid right off into the wall. Love a self-motivator, Johnny. Yeah, well, he needs to lead by example here. Straddling the Axel of Evil to start here. Oh, now just trying to hang on. This thing was gnarly. It was brutal. Gigantic circle. It looked like a... Any landing's a good landing. It looked like a Ferris wheel. Yeah, I wouldn't know. Now at the 4-minute 40-second mark, he's just behind the pace set by Maestro Patrick. Let's see if he can conquer this one in one try. If he does, he will be sitting on a lead, leaping. Oh, and slippery exhibit. Oh, my gosh. This is Jay making his way through this deal. Second attempt now on the Great Wall of Fall. Jay's time right at the 8-minute mark. so he's already a minute past the maestro employee's time. Remember, though, not an individual boss. He just needs to cross as quickly as he can for his team. Getting really close to that finish platform, trying desperately to hold on now. One peg to get off of, one more to cross. You do not want to blow it here, and he won't. Johnny, he's done. Choc-choc boss with a time of 8 minutes, 28 seconds. That one extra wipeout. I can hear that from the scaffold.
Are you serious? Oh, yeah. Good to hear it. Which was far away. Yeah, way far. Seven stories high. I was excited. Seven stories high. Now, I want to explain this to you, what this thing looks like. Picture a plexiglass tube that's seven stories high. And at the top of the seven stories is a platform. And they load J. into the platform he's got on a helmet he's got to cross his arms like he's in a coffin and they count him down three two one and then they drop the floor out from underneath you what they don't show is how long you sit in that little box yep i sat there probably 10 minutes are you kidding me i was a little shorter uh but yeah you're in there for a while with your arms crossed and you know i heard it
I could hear my heart through my, I could hear it through the vest. I could hear it. Go. I could hear it. Go. I started to second guess myself at this point. I was like, I don't, I don't know what I'm doing. Why am I here? Why are we here? I'm going to die. Yeah. It's, you're just in a small, in waters pouring down. It's like a telephone booth. 500 gallons on top of your head. is how the thing starts. The floor drops. It's all ice-cold water. Ice-cold water, 500 gallons on top of your head, and it shoots you down the flume. And Jay said afterwards, he said, I thought I was going to fly into the parking lot. Because it doesn't look that long. When you fly out, it doesn't look like you have that much room to land. You can't see. It's dark. There's fire. Fog, fire, strobe lights going. I was in the air for so long. You fall 35 feet. Yeah. Oh, my God. We're on the seventh floor here. We're seven stories up, my friend. Look out the window, dude. No. Seven stories. That's how far down you went in this, too. Yeah. So I'm just standing there waiting. It doesn't look like that on TV. Oh, it's seven stories high. Next time you're in a building, just look up seven floors. That's how high they were. That's incredible. Yeah, and I'm not a heights guy. Don't like heights at all. Oh, wow. That rickety scaffold climbing up that thing. Listen.
I had to go to jail one time for 20 days. I was less scared to go to jail than I was climbing up that scaffold. And that is a true statement. Way less scared. Way less. Walking up that thing, I was the fourth guy to walk up with everybody. Woods was less scared of male rape. Yes. Than he was of climbing up that scaffold. Well, it is Woods we're talking about. Well, yeah, true. I appreciate it. This was the controversy. Now, Jay's made it. Not only has he made it, he's broken a course record. Allegedly. Of getting through it. The first guy beat him, though. Yeah, he did. I don't get it either. Now, all that means is Woods has to finish. I finished. Because the third guy, he did like 28 minutes. All I had to do was finish him. We're sitting on a pile of dough. Here's what happened. The Shock Jocks with a golden opportunity employees Steven Woods last to go. And let's not forget this is a team that was eliminated at one point. Now in a fantastic position to win 50 grand. All they need is a run just under 20 minutes from Steven. There's the water rush. There's the flume. He is a big guy and he got big air.
Yeah, the total time to beat his 28.04, and he came into the zone with about eight and a half minutes already on the clock from his boss, Jay. Shock Jock employee, first one to travel clockwise on the Iron Maze. Wrong way. Opposite way, I told him. Opposite way. You went the opposite way. His boss, Jay, made it through this one. Got in and went the opposite way. I didn't know what the hell I was doing. Oh, a shot to the chest. Yeah, he came up just short, and that blast of water didn't help him. Was your ankle broke by now? No. The shock jock employee traveling a different route this time. Working the opposite direction. Slowly climbing down. Trimmed up a little. Holding on to the end. And a steep drop into the water. The shock jock trying to ground himself after an excruciating ride through the maze and a long drop out into the water. Trying now for a third time. I think it was a fourth time. Trying to collect himself. You looked... Wiped out and completely out of energy. That was it. That was it. That was it. That was done. This is not good for our shock jocks. It looks like it has gone from bad to worse. Oh, is he throwing in the towel? No, I think he might be quitting. Oh, don't tell me that. He can't quit. Not only can he quit, it appears he has. Wow, Johnny, I did not expect that.
Me neither. The shock jocks, they got a second chance, still tapping out. And you know what that means. Yes, I do. Jill is on the sideline with some very happy maestros in common. Now, Woods says that the paramedics had to carry you out of the water. Yeah, they have divers and stuff on the side. And when I fell in for the last time, I had wrecked my head. And I mean, wrecked my head. My neck snapped back into this thing and snapped my ankle at the same time. And then I fell in the water and I came up and I was, and these guys reached in, pulled me out onto the side, pulled my life jacket off, put me in a wheelchair and pushed me over to an ambulance. And I'm sitting in the wheelchair and I go, they're like, are you okay? Lift your arms. I couldn't lift my arms. I couldn't move them. He goes, are you all right? I'm like, hold on, hold on.
Oh, wow. And just booted everywhere. Between four and six times, just retching, retching, retching. And throwing up like liquid. Oh, my gosh. And so I had one person on each side of me, and they carried me back to the trailer. Strong, strong people. Carried me back to the trailer, and Jay was there. Don't tell me yet. Save that, save that, save that. I'll save it. So divers had to pull me out. We'll get to that in a little bit. I was jacked up. Our number is 570-1949. This is all the recap of what happened with Jay and Woods on Wipeout on ABC. Woods, tell me what's going on with the San Diego Chargers. Oh, man, what a day yesterday. And let's see. Where to start? I guess you've got to start with Darren Sproles. Darren Sproles is no longer a San Diego Charger, my friend. Oh, my dude. They let him go, and he went to... The New Orleans Saints, he's going to replace Reggie Bush. But it's a crowded backfield there, man. They got Pierre Thomas. They got the first-round draft choice was Mark Ingram. So Sprolesy's gone. He's got a four-year deal with at least $6 million guaranteed. Wow, wow. Anything else? Oh, absolutely. They also signed Vincent Brown, who was their third-round pick out of San Diego State.
The only two guys left to sign out of their draft is Corey Leggett, their first rounder, and Sharice Wright, their third rounder. And also they let go of Buster Davis. Yeah, he's gone. Their former first rounder from LSU didn't work out. Yeah, he did not work out. They also withdrew their offer for Antoine Applewhite. They let go of Brandon Lang, Chris Wilson, Giles Tucker, and Donald Strickland. It's a busy day around there. Of those names that you just mentioned, Giles Tucker and Antoine Applewhite are the ones that concern me the most. However, something tells me that we're going to see Antoine Applewhite re-signed by the team. Maybe. You never know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't even know what I'm talking about. I'm loopy from last night. None of us got much sleep. No. jersey today and asked for this day off months and months ago. But we are here and ready to go. Let me ask you, Jay, are we good with everybody coming in today? Do we have any more room or do we need more people? Are we good to go? Are we packed? I think we're solid. We're packed. That means we're packed. Oh, yeah. I just saw from Chris. Chris just gave me a look that said, we are to the gills.
We have a live studio audience coming in at 9 a.m. Next week we will be on vacation. I hope that that does not upset people. I know it always does. Jim Rome is fond of saying, I take vacation because I get vacation. And I don't mean to make it because I never like it when he says it like that. But what I will say is that... we have to use our vacation time and we use some in April and we're going to use some now. Yeah. And then the only other time that we'll take vacation is during the normal periods like Christmas. Right. Christmas, New Year's. Yeah, New Year's. So other than that, you know, we're good to go. Yeah, somebody wrote, it's like, I've never known a show to take so much vacation. I know. It's like, what? You know, honestly, we don't. You know, honestly, we don't. And not only that, the only other times that we've been out, One time I was hospitalized. Right. Yes. Happy birthday. Yeah. And could not make it in because I was in the hospital. Yeah. And if you have vacation, I got to think you would take it. Well, yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. I want to spend time with my family. I want to go, you know, exotic places. It's weird. It's just weird when he says exotic. Yeah. So anyway, there's that. 570-1949 if you want to call us.
But we're letting you know. We asked the listeners, how would you like us to deal with this? And they said, tell us. We want to know. This is what I don't want you to do. I don't want you to listen to other shows while we're gone. I call it whoring around. I don't want you to do that. I don't want to come back and you smell like another show. Don't be a slut. I mean, come on. Come on. Stay true to us. We put together a great best of show. Yes. New stuff. Jewels from the past. That's right. And we're going to podcast all this, too, so you'll be able to still podcast. Oh, cool. Yeah, feast, everybody. Nice. Let's see, what else? Alex Trebek. Alex Trebek broke his Achilles because he was chasing down this woman that had stolen some stuff from his room. And we have audio of him because yesterday he was on, what was it, The Today Show, I think? Yeah, he was on today's show talking about it. I woke up and saw a figure in our hotel bedroom. And I thought I was dreaming. And I realized immediately that someone had been in the room. And I put on my underwear and ran down the hall to see if I could find her. I will tell you they were sexy underwear. My favorite pair. You have a ribbon. As well, they should. Alex, what color were they?
Green. Alex says he did find her. And when he caught up to her, he, well, quizzed her. She came out of the... Old man in his underwear. Quizzing people. It's like the home version. There it is. This person robbed me and ran down the hallway. Alex, who is me? That is correct. That is correct. Thank you. Ice machine. And I said, what were you doing in our room? And she said, I wasn't in your room. I said, what are you doing up here? So I was visiting friends. Why are you wearing my watch? Why are you wearing my shoes? I found them and I put them on. I see. Why are you wearing a t-shirt that says Alex Trebek? How do you not get away from Alex Trebek? Yeah. In his underwear. In his underwear. Yeah, it's weird. He's 71 years old. Maybe grab the stairwell and take it to the house.
Maybe it's time to start exercising in jail. Because you couldn't outrun Alex Trebek. Listen. I could. And that says a lot. I know. I'm an overweight Mexican. And I could outrun Alex Trebek. Could I? I'd like to see that foot race. Yeah, it might not happen. M1 Veronica is on the line from San Diego. Hi, V. Good morning, gentlemen. How are you? Good. How are you doing? I'm doing good. Have you guys all recovered and everything from last night? Well, Jay... I don't know about Jay. I haven't asked Jay yet. You doing all right? He was there late. Yeah, we were playing games and stuff like that afterwards, and he was still there, so... I feel great, but I feel great because I took a course of action, yes. Woods feels like... Woods texted me this morning and said that he, quote, feels like arse. Yes. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, I didn't get much sleep at all. I got kind of worked up when I got home, so I didn't sleep, basically. I can't imagine why. I went to bed at about 1. Got up about 3.30. Yeah, I got real worked up. I laid in bed and checked Facebook. Accepting friends on Facebook, posting, all that fun stuff. Why would you do that? Just spun out. Because my phone was, like, turned it off. Dude, it went haywire. Maybe turn it off. Yeah, I'm learning. Yeah, you're learning. I'm learning. Are you? Yeah, he is. I am. He's new to this. You know, six months ago, there's some comments I would have made that I didn't make that I really wanted to. Yeah. I had to talk my wife down from making some comments. Yes. She was real pissed. Yeah. And I understand that. I understand that. And here's the thing. You know, when we were getting the crew together, you know, when I was putting together this crew, you know, I said, listen, there's going to be people that will be mean. And, you know, they were on the Facebook and they thought that they were being funny and stuff, but they were saying some mean stuff to Woodsy. And, you know, it got to them. But what are you going to do? Veronica, did you have a fun time? I did. I had a blast last night. It was just, it was so much fun seeing everyone there in the support of M1 Nation. Great time. She was there with a new man. Yes, I was. I did not know this, Veronica. I introduced you to...
I didn't know that that was your new... What you didn't do was say, hey, Mikey, this is my new guy. Well, you were a social butterfly. I thought that that... I thought that guy was a friend. No. A very close friend. He's your boyfriend. No, he's not. Is he your boyfriend? Yes, he is my boyfriend. Okay, okay, okay. Tell him to get some. Oh, my gosh, Jay, you creep. Jay's a creep. He's a creep. I'm going to kill you, Jay. All right, Veronica. Well, it was great to see you guys. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Oh, yeah. I wanted to call, and HB had a fantastic suggestion on Facebook. This is the real reason I called. Yeah. When you guys are on vacation, put in the rejoiners that it's the best of. Oh, that's a good idea. Now, the only thing I don't want is I don't want our ratings to go down and everything. I don't want people to stop listening to us when we're gone. But if you're in one nation, you don't even think about it. But if you know we're on vacation, then why do you need to know what's best of? You just know. Well, because, you know, people like work during the day and sometimes they might have that day off and they're on vacation. Okay. All right. Yeah. Just a suggestion. I like, I like. Don't yell at me. Yeah, you're screaming. We're here for you guys. You're screaming. I know, I'm screaming. You're screaming. Kids all worked up. You're screaming. All right. Thank you, Veronica. We love you. We'll see you. M1, Justin from Camp Pendleton. What's up?
Since up here at Temecula, we live on the other side of the world, according to the TomTom Girl. We had our own little get-together with some friends to watch the show last night. You guys did real well. That's awesome. That's great, dude. That's it. We're glad you watched, man. We're glad you watched, and it was a fun time. Fun night. Can I just say something to M1 Nation? Yeah. When I walked into Dave & Buster's, I was about 15 minutes late because of my wife. She got me turned around. Thanks, babe. And I walked in, and they gave me, they ripped up an applause, and it made my life. Like, it was one of the highlights of my entire life. It gave me chills. Yeah, Woods says that it was one of the coolest things that's ever happened in your life. I walked in the room, there was 300, 400 people, and every person was like, whoo, and they're clapping. Including me. Dude, I had misty eyes. I was pumping my fists. It was the raddest, so thank you. That was before they saw the show. Jimmy Kimmel asked Lady Gaga one of the most brilliantly funny questions I've ever... I mean, I was like, dude, I practically saw it and stood up in my office and applauded the cleverness of it. But not only that, we got all kinds of stuff. We got you guys calling us. 570-1949. We got a full show for you today. It's the Mikey Show. Don't go anywhere.

I don't like to be tickled because I squeal like a little girl. And Jay. Hey, I like to skateboard. On FM 94.9. Woodsy, you have single-handedly made me a Kings and Leon fan. I'm glad. Because you introduced me to stuff that I don't know, and when you do, I like it. Yeah, this one has a special meaning based on the title. Yeah, it's called Back Down South. That's where the kid's heading tonight. And the thing is, is that...
I like their hits and everything, but dang, man, some of this stuff is good. Yeah, I'll be seeing this live this evening too, pal. Yeah, the only problem with that is you're going to see it live in 110 degrees. Fair enough. I hope nobody poops on them. It's a well-known fact that the Kings of Leon don't like bird poop. No. Well-documented. One time some pigeons at one of their concerts, one time pigeons pooped on them and they decided to leave the stage. Yeah. We're done. They said, we're not going to play. They came back and did a free concert. But for that night, they were done because they got pooped on and they were like, you know, we're not going to play. They had feces on them. Yeah. It was from birds. Yeah. You know, from pigeons. So basically, the feces was made out of, you know, like little pieces of seed, you know, and things like that. Is that right? Well, I mean, that's what pigeons eat generally. And so they said, you know what? So it's no big deal. No. I mean, rock and roll, I guess. Right.
Nice Bieber. Hey, listen. I mean, Ozzy once snorted ants. Well, that's Ozzy. Yeah. Didn't he bite the head off a bat, too? That's true, too. That was an accident. You know? It was an accident. He thought it was a rubber bat, so he bet it was a real bat. But, hey, rock and roll. Oh, boy. Just kidding. Guess what, Woodsy? What's up? More than a dozen lifeguards had to get in the water yesterday and rescue people at La Jolla Shores because three rip currents, they all converged. On about 100 people in the water. Check this out. 26 people had to be rescued. Wow. From an area that was 75 yards wide. I mean, and the rest of the people were able to get out safe. But my goodness. I don't understand how rip currents work. And I don't want anybody to explain it to me. Does it take too much time? It's pretty simple. But what I can tell you is they're dangerous. Oh, yeah.
And you don't know when they're going to be there, right, Jay? Yeah, you can see them. You can see them. A lot of times I'll look for one to paddle out in because it takes you out to the lineup quick. It's like a motorboat. Well, I'm a danger seeker, so. I can do it. Yeah, and all you have to do is swim either north or south or, you know, just right or left of it and you can paddle right back in. It's when you just try to swim against it that you wear yourself out. The house has got to pass this. debt limit thing you know the house it's got to get past the house and it's got to go to obama and the republicans and the democrats are really going after it with each other but here's the thing if you don't understand what we're talking about is that this thing has got to get done or it's going to leave the treasury department without the funds that we need to pay all of our bills as a country ah perfect tuesday's the deadline so we got to get this done by tuesday what the house is looking to do is cut $917 billion over a decade. And what it would do is immediately the debt limit would increase to 900 bill, which is less than half of what Obama wants us to get to so that we won't have this crisis come up again right around election time, which makes sense. Right.
I mean, you don't want it anyway, but you especially don't want it around election time. This is a big story today. This is a big story today. In fact, it hasn't yet as far as I know, but I believe that it will make national news for this reason. I do believe this story will be national soon. Right now it's a story that's a North County San Diego story. There was a guy that was 64 years old killed on a bicycle on Wednesday. Hit and run in Carlsbad. Very, very sad. The man's name is Arthur Jacobs. He's from Vista. And it's very, very sad. What compounds it and makes it more sad is that the woman that killed him is a girl named Julianne Thompson. She's 23 years old. And when she was taken into custody and she was jailed on suspicion of drunk driving, she made duck face. In the mugshot photo, thus making her quite possibly the first person ever to be so wacky as to make duck face. I could see it if you were arrested for public intoxication. Yes. And you're just in there. You're like, great. It's a night in jail. It's a ticket. You know, whatever. And you're like, whatever. You do your duck face. This broad killed a guy. Yeah. And then hid in the bushes.
And then the cops had to drag her out of the bushes. And then makes duck face at her mugshot. Shoot her. My goodness. I mean. Now, I wonder if that will play into any kind of a, you know, the jury. You know, like when there is a trial, if the prosecutor will show that photo and go, by the way. This is who we're dealing with. What kind of monster? This is how worried she was about the consequences of her actions that night. As she's, you know. Making duck face. Doing blue steel. Maybe look out for bike riders, people. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? Wow, Bill Belichick is maybe a lunatic. Guess who else he acquired? Well, he acquired Albert Hainsworth. Guess who else he's got now? He's got Chad Ochocinco on his team. Are you kidding? He's got number 85 in New England. I think it's an ego thing. I think that Belichick's like, hey, listen, we got a way here that people are going to adhere to it. Or, I mean, you know, maybe they boot him if they don't. But Chad Ochocinco is now a New England Patriot, making them a pretty formidable team. I mean, there's no question.
Going to be pretty tough to beat. I wonder how he's going to tame Ochocinco. You know, I think they have, you know, Ochocinco said, hey, we're really close and we're fond of each other's work. And he's somebody that I look up to. Maybe he'll change his attitude when he gets here too. The guy wants to win a ring. You never know what may happen. But also... Quarterback Kevin Cobb is headed to Arizona. So the Eagles had him. He was going to be the starter. Then he got hurt. Mike Vick came in and was amazing last year. Well, Kevin Cobb was kind of like, I don't want to be a second string. So he's traded to Arizona. He will be the starter there. $20 million guaranteed. Oh, my. Yeah. Take a listen to what Jimmy Kimmel asked Lady Gaga last night. Do you want to have kids one day? Do I want to have kids? Yeah. Someday. Long. Long day from now. What if one of your children grew up to be not gay? Would you still love that child? No. You would not? I have to say, I heard your... I actually don't even like you. That is hysterical. That's outstanding. Would you hate your child if they turned out to be straight? It's just so...
Clever, and nobody would expect it. Ballsy, too. It's ballsy. Ballsy. It's the whole deal. I wonder if I would have stuttered asking her that question. I'm sure I would have. Oh, my. 5701949 is the number if you want to give us a call. Let's see. Oh, iPhone 5 rumors. A lot of people, it's the biggest. iPhone, they say, is what most people have now. It's taken over BlackBerry as the number one most used. mobile device that there is. And so at least statistically, that's what most of us have. And I understand if you have the BlackBerry, and I had BlackBerry and enjoyed it and liked it. And the new BlackBerrys are great. I love the iPhone. But anyway, there's some rumors coming out about them because the new iPhone is supposed to be released in September. In fact, they've pinpointed the second week of September. But anyway, there's this British mobile phone blog that people know about. I'm not going to give the name of it. Fascinating. Oh, but gosh darn it. What's your problem? You have an iPhone now. I know, and I use about 3% of its capabilities. I know. Seriously. And you barely know how to use it. It'll go off at weird times and quack. I got no idea what I'm doing with this stuff. I'm like an 80-year-old man. Well, anyway, here...
is what these rumors are about this new iPhone that's supposed to come out in September. It's supposed to have a four-inch screen, which is a bigger screen. It's supposed to have a curved butt. Right now it's square. It's all squared off. It's supposed to have a curved butt. It's supposed to have a big hole in the back, which they think is going to be for where the new antenna will go. Now, the reason that they know all of this is because apparently... There was a leak of a photograph of the case that's going to go around the new iPhone. And that's how they're saying that they came up with all this. They ever leak stuff? Well, I don't believe it. I don't believe any of this. I believe it's all BS. Fake bit. I believe it's a fake bit. And the only reason that I believe it's a fake bit is because there's a blog called Mac Rumors and they're generally pretty on the dot. And they said it's a bunch of crap. Wow. Don't believe it. But we'll see. iPhone 5 is supposed to be released in September. And this is what Mac Rumors says it will have. And they generally are pretty good about knowing what's up. Better camera, faster processor, little bit of a bigger screen. So, feast. Kind of like a droid. Well, you know, it's interesting you bring up the droid because the droid was, they just lost a lawsuit. Sent Apple's...
Stock skyrocketing because they lost a lawsuit, the droid did, for infringing upon 85 patents of the iPhone. Oh, wow. You ever just take a good idea and steal it and call it droid? Like FaceTime with Skype? Wait a minute. Wait a minute. FaceTime came after Skype? Yes, sir. It did? Well, they stole it. They get sued? No. Well, there you go. Not yet. Well, why wouldn't they get sued if they stole the idea? Who knows? Maybe because they didn't steal the idea. They must have changed it a little bit. Hey, change it up. Sweetly. There's been video chat, though, for years. Yeah. On the Mac, right? Kind of. Anyway. Touche. Yeah, it doesn't make sense. So you know that clown in Norway that shot everybody up? Yes. Psychopath slash sociopath? Yes.
If you have that article still, Woods, put it on our Facebook page. Yeah, I'll put the link up there. It will blow your mind. And lest anybody think that it's a bunch of crap, it comes from Time Magazine. Right. This, I don't even want to call it a prison. I don't even want to call this place a prison. It looks as nice as a college dormitory. Nicer. Nicer. There's no bars on the windows. I lived in a college dormitory. 50 times nicer. It's called Halden. And it cost $252 million. And it's spread over 75 acres of gently sloping forest in southeastern Norway. And I can't wait to hear from the libs. All you liberals that are listening that go, I think it's humane. We certainly haven't got it right here in America. Look at how full our prisons are.
Look at all the recidivism. Beat crime. Maybe Norway's got it right. They have a sound studio in there. They do. I mean like a record. No, dude. I'm talking about like a recording studio. You know why? Because they teach the inmates how to be recording studio people so that, you know, when they get out, they'll have a career. Yeah, I heard Dave Grohl. They're doing their new record there next time instead of in his garage on tape. They're going to the Norway prison to do their next record. It's that good. Yes. It's that good. Do you know what else they have? They have jogging trails. Freestanding, two-bedroom houses where the inmates can host their families during, yes, overnight visits. Jay. Unlike American prisons that smell like urine and sweat and Mexicans like me. And male rape. And male rape. Instead is the scent of orange sorbet.
Shut up. Yeah, that comes from what they call the kitchen laboratory. I want to go there. Where inmates take, and I'm not, Time Magazine, I'm not kidding, where they take cooking courses. I know, I know, I know, I know, I know. And the Norwegian prison system, there's a focus on the human rights aspect. That is the prison's governor, what he says. He says that they don't... They don't see any of this is unusual. Did you see, Mike, the picture of the gymnasium that they have that looks like Madison Square Garden? Oh, yeah. Like parquet floors. Beautiful. Gorgeous. They had a big painting of a guy like trying to throw his ball, the ball and chain up over the wall. Like a big, it was a huge, done by the inmates. No, no, no, no. It wasn't done by the inmates. Oh, was it not? No, it was done by a famous graffiti artist. Like, what's his name?
That famous graffiti of something. Yeah, that dude. The guy with the thing. The guy with the thing. You know, the deal with the thing. I know who you're talking about. The guy up in the thing. They did a documentary. Feasty. Scooby. Rat face. Rat face. Ratty. Tootie. I feel like we're playing buzzword. Ricky Titty Taddy. Yeah. Oh, wow. I can't say that. Yeah, it's actually not Ricky Titty Taddy. Are you sure? Jay, I'm pretty sure that it isn't Ricky Titty Taddy, but I believe it was Ricky Ticky Taddy. Ricky Ticky Taddy. Yeah. No, it's Ricky Titty Taddy. Memories of Mongoose. The cells, like I said, are like dorm rooms. When I tell you this next part, you're going to struggle to believe me. I'm talking about the Norway prison called Halden, where the clown that shot everybody might be going to. Flat screen TVs and mini fridges. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. Sounds amazing. Yeah, it does. Sounds amazing. If I'm homeless and I live in Norway, I'm robbing a bank. Of course. The designers of Halden chose long vertical windows because they let in more sunlight. Ah. Now, we had long vertical windows put in our studio here because it brings in more sunlight. We're radio talk show hosts and it brings a good mood. Sure it does. We're not in prison. Right.
We didn't shoot 90-some-odd people. No. There's no bars on the windows, by the way. Right. Every 10 to 12 cells, they share a living room and a kitchen that, I'm not kidding you, looks like a photograph out of an IKEA catalog. There's no bars on the windows, Mike, because nobody wants to leave. Why the hell would you go anywhere? It looks like a freaking resort. When I was scrolling through those pictures, that's where I went. This place looks awesome. There's, oh, by the way, that living room and kitchen area. It's got stainless steel countertops and wraparound sofas and birch colored coffee tables. And they've also put a splash of color on the walls. You know, it's pretty. It's gorgeous. It's really nice. Gorgeous. And like Wood said, yeah, they got a big sports area where they can.
play basketball and so forth. Does anybody think this is okay? You can call us and tell us if you do. We'll hear you out. 570-1949. It just doesn't seem like a prison. Doesn't seem like a prison at all. It's a resort. It's a vacation. And that's what this place is like. Now, you guys remember, you won't remember this, Woodsy, because you were not in San Diego when this happened. But back in 2008, There was this wacky lady and what happened was she was pulling out of a parking lot of a gas station. She pulled in front of this vehicle and cut the vehicle off. Well, the vehicle was being driven by an off-duty cop and she got mad when she pulled in front of him because he swerved and, you know, erratically and that made her mad. Like, oh, what's your problem? Right. By the way, she had her eight year old in the car at the time and she was at a point one five percent blood alcohol level, double the legal limit when she got road raged because she pulled in front of this guy. Right. And he swerved and she was like, oh, really? Easy. Big time is big time. And so what she did was she decided that it would be a good idea for her to.
tailgate him, and then rev her car engine and screech her tires and start accelerating at him and braking right at the last moment where he pulled into a parking lot, she went after him, and then she pulled up alongside of this man and this woman that were in this car, and she starts screaming at him and then sideswipes their car. Oh, wow. Well, what she didn't know was the person that she was attacking was an off-duty cop. who pulled out his gun and fired five times. Holy cow. Hitting her twice in the arm. Well, her husband filed a lawsuit. Of course. And just one from the city, half a million dollars in a legal settlement. And by the way, the boy was shot in the knee. Her eight-year-old son, Johnny, was shot in the knee.
by the off-duty police officer. Now, a lot of people are like, what's dude doing pulling out a gun and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And yeah, I understand that. I totally understand that. And you know, you can't, there's one way to look at it is to go, oh, this poor kid. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I do say this poor kid. But I say, mom is a nut. She's a nut bag. Using that car as a weapon. That's right. Maybe one of the best flubbing, of words when this woman is on TV. She just gives up. And I want you to call 570-1949 and finish this sentence. Most embarrassed I've ever been in front of my in-laws was the time I blank. Finish that sentence. You got something worth adding to the Mikey show?

They get the air conditioner fixed in the... What was the deal? We walked out. We walked out into Jay's area because we're in this studio and we're separated by glass and he's in this other room. I walked in there the other day.
I thought a volcano had gone off and hot lava had poured all over the floor in there. It was 150 degrees. What was the deal? They just had to reset it. Oh, my. It's ridiculous. It was hot. It felt like a sauna. Probably Saudi Arabia. Okay, so I've heard people mess up their words, flub their words on TV before. This is Elisa Ramon in San Antonio. It's pretty good. They're the west side with all the details on what they plan to do. And the city of San Antonio is both... Sorry. Well, let's just move on. Is Al-Shabaab the new Al-Qaeda? Wow. Look at that coming up. Wow. Maybe a... What was wrong with that guy talking like this? I hate how they talk like that. Oh, it's the worst. Finish the sentence, please.
The most embarrassed I've been in front of my in-laws was the time I blank. Now, Jay is going to tell a story. And it's of adult nature. Yes. Weird. What happened? We were over at the in-laws' house. And we decided to do what adults sometimes do at night in bed. I understand that. And what do you mean? You understand it. And the bed was kind of hitting the wall. Oh, my God. Well, you saw me on Wipeout. I don't know. Don't act like you don't. And they're like, what was that noise? Trying to shut a window. They probably thought it was a dinosaur tail. They probably thought that somehow a Tyrannosaurus Rex had gotten into the house and was, you know, was somehow.
Putting its tail against a wall. So that window was stuck and I was trying to close the window. Is that what you said? For 45 seconds. No. As soon as I figured out that I was making noise, we just went a different direction. That's the best you could do. It worked. They were like, oh, okay. They never... I believe I've told this story. You met her last night. She's never said it. Do you know who Tanya is? Tanya, our friend Tanya? Yes, I do. Real pretty. She's tall. Very pretty girl. Her and my mother-in-law were at the house once. I didn't know that anybody was at the house. In fact, this was a time before all of the nannies. Okay? I didn't think anybody was at the house. But who I knew was at the house was Rebecca. And I was nude. Weird. Weird. And at the top of the stairwell. I didn't even know they were at the house. To this day, I believe they saw me, but I'm not 100% sure they saw me. If Tanya's listening or my mother-in-law's listening, please tell me. And don't tell me. Write me. And I'm not going to respond to whatever you write. I'm not going to respond. I just need to know. You don't want to give them the hotline and have them call in and give us details? Okay, call. Call. Call us. Call us. I'll do that.
I'd rather, I'm more comfortable doing it on the air. I'm more comfortable doing it on the air than I would be not doing it on the air. M1 LA Kings fan from San Diego. What was the word of the day before I tell the story? Bam. That is correct. You're going to see Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow August 2nd at Cricket. And you also got a pay-per-view to see UFC 133 from Cox Advance TV on August 6th. Hang on, okay? Yep. What day, Jay? I love you guys. You guys rock, man. Thank you, dude. You rock. It's awesome, man. Hang on. Love you so much. Very cool. So much. So we want you to call in and tell us and finish this sentence. The most embarrassed I've ever been in front of my in-laws was the time I blank. So I was standing naked at the top of the stairs and I was going like, shut it. What did he say? I was standing at the top of the stairs going like this. Shut up.
Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. So I'm standing at the top of the stairs. I go, babe! Babe! Babe! And I'm yelling for Rebecca. And I hear Tanya's voice go, she's outside. And I go, holy cow. I didn't have anything on. Now, I heard her say that. But I don't know if she saw me. I hope. I hope not. And I mean this. More for her than me. You know, more than me being embarrassed, I wouldn't want to subject her to that. It would be worse for her to be in a subway and be flashed. Excuse me while I whip this out. I'm looking up at my call screener and M1 Herald has a doozy. M1 Herald from San Marcos, are you there? I'm here. What did you do in front of your in-laws?
I was over at the in-laws' house during the Northridge earthquake. Uh-huh. And during an earthquake, everybody jumps up and runs to a doorway or a door jam or a hallway or something. Uh-huh. And here we all are standing there, and the room's shaking, and I look down, and there he is hanging out of my boxer, swinging back and forth. Right in front of the whole family. Right in front of the whole family. I've done that, too. You've done that in front of your in-laws? Well, everyone was in the kitchen. In my mom's kitchen. Wasn't this recently? Yeah, it was not too long ago. He's shirt shimming like a Batman, by the way. And I have my pajamas on. I walk in. I'm like, hey, what's happening? I'm like standing there for a minute talking. I look down. In front of your parents? Well, my mom was sitting right across from me, but my brother-in-laws were standing on both sides of her. And I'm like talking. I'm like telling a story. I look down. Oh, my. Yeah. And I was like, oh, whoa. Hey, get back in there. How did you discover your Johnson, Harold? Well, my wife discovered it, and she jumped in front of me to cover me up. Oh, gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Harold, get those boxers with the button on them, because I tend to just be... Mikey's nude. I'm usually just in boxers, and when I go get the mail, if I don't have the button on, my guy will come hanging out. Your guy? Yeah. Thank you. The floor was cold. That's how I knew. Is that right? Oh. Is that right? God. Were you laying on your stomach, or...?
On the floor? You must have been laying on your stomach. Just lean forward. In the downward dog? Oh, you were planking in your in-laws. Yeah, you were planking. That's how you knew. Tripod. M1 screenwriter from the sports arena area. What's going on? Hey, my wife and I have been dating for three months. We're 15 years old. We started dating in eighth grade, okay? Well, her father comes home and he sees we're holding hands. He runs into his bedroom. He grabs his handgun. And he chases me out of the house. Because you were holding her hand? Yes. He goes, and by hand I mean breast. Oh, her hand. We were in the shower at the time. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Were you really? No. Okay, gosh darn. Oh, man. I had Mike, a buddy, caught in the shower with his girlfriend in high school by her dad.
her father by her father and her mother they called his parents i was a father and mother father and mother walked in the bathroom and he was in the shower with their daughter yes he's one of my best friends and he listens to our shows i'm sure he's gonna appreciate this story how what did they do uh they i think he grabbed him like said put something on grabbed him like you know threw him around a little bit then called his parents so then he had to put up with that then he had to drive home to that wrath so he did the dad You know, throw a towel at him or anything? Did he get a towel to cover up? He said, put something on to get out here. Oh, oh, oh. Yeah. So he had to get out of the shower, dry off, put his clothes on, and then walk out into the hallway where an angry father awaited. True statement. And what did the angry father do? He roughed him up a little? Grabbed him, kind of threw him against the wall, and was like, I think he said, I could kill you.
I think that's exactly what he said. I could kill you right now. Picks up the phone, calls my buddy's mom. If your friend had any rocks at all, he would have said, like, you never did. Oh, really? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? They'd never find the body. Yeah. He'd be buried in a lime somewhere. Have a question. Because, Jay, you would be angry, right? I was angry. That happened? I've told you the story where I came in through the window behind it. Behind a kid? Yes, yes. But that's different than in a shower, nude. It was the middle of the night. I know it was, dude, but they weren't doing anything. Yet. I know they weren't doing anything yet. But they were about to. I understand, but they weren't nude in a shower. Now, I want to ask you. I know how mad you were, and they weren't even nude in a shower. Your thinking was they were going to do some rascally things. Now, let me ask you.
If you came home and they were in a shower, you'd be angry, correct? Very. Okay. Scary mofo. Now, let me ask you that. He's got his arms crossed right now. He's standing up. He's got his arms crossed. He's looking at me right now, and it looks like his hands are really strong. Yes. It looks like his hands, Jay's hands. First of all, you know, he's got hair covering his forearms. Very sinewy. He's a 48-year-old man, and he's imposing. I would not want to be that person. found with one of his beautiful daughters. And not only are his daughters beautiful, but they're also very, they have a look of innocence. Yes. They really do. They do. And I'm sure that when he looks at them, all he sees is his kid. My angels. His little angels. Now. Mine too. So here's my question for you, Jay. You'd be angry, no doubt, right? No doubt. Now I want you to switch paradigms. Okay. You come home and one of your sons. Finn or... Well, Jasper. It can't be Jasper. It has to be Finn. You come home and Finn is in the exact same situation with a girl. Is your reaction in any way different? No, I don't know. Woods is trying to get him to answer a certain way. Don't get him to answer anyway. I want to know the truth, what he would think. I would come in and I would act all...
Like, hey, this is horrible. You know, this is not good. But in my mind, I'd be going high five. Oh, my God. A hundred percent. Me too. A billion percent. Yeah. If it was my daughter, you'd have to cuff me. I would end up being cuffed later that night. The police would knock on my door. Yeah. Like you're going to jail for assaulting this young man. I'd grab him by Mr. Happy and rip him out the door. Yeah. You would? One by the thing and one by the ear. If it was your daughter. Yeah, he'd be let out by. You'd throw him out nude? Yeah, absolutely. Oh, that's brilliant. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. That is freaking brilliant. Now, I'll tell you the thing is, though, is that Jay knows it's nothing he wouldn't have done with a girl when he was a teenager. Oh, yeah, exactly. You just don't get caught. But if you're a dad. You don't get caught. Yeah. You got to be quick. I jumped out many windows. Oh, ditto. Well, if it were me and I came home, you know. My boys are going to know from a young age, this is not the kind of crap that's going to happen at this place. Right. And so if I came home and one of my boys were doing that, let's just call it Spade to Spade. If it's Luke, if we come home, when Luke does this, he's going to get his ass whooped by dad. Now, later, I think, after, there will be a thing in the back of my head that goes.
Atta boy. But I'm telling you right now, he's getting an ass whooping. He won't do it at your house. No. He'll know better, dude. He will know better. Or either that or he'll think that I'm in England on vacation with his mom. He'll think we're in London and I get sick and come home early. And he didn't know it. Where I just get tired of the money being red. And the food. And the food being bland. And the fact that I can't find an adapter to plug my stuff in. And there's no air conditioning. And there's no air conditioning. And so we come home early. You don't know what the hell a pence is. And I'll walk in and there will be no doubt in my mind. What are you doing? What? What? Dad, what are you doing? Who is that girl? Why isn't L.O.B. here to take part in this bit? This is Stacy. Is Stacy you? Yes. She's not talking. Yeah, she's scared to death of you. She's not staying at work. Well, she's behind me and I'm nude and you're here in the shower. What do you think you're doing? I was trying to make love, but... You were trying to make love? Yes. In our house? You're 17. Sorry.
What do I want to tell you? Come on with you. Find out. Don't tell mom. Don't tell mom. Please don't. Listen. You're going to get it. Fine. Don't tell mom. Fine. I'll give you my free word right here. Listen to me. I'm not going to tell mom. Stand there like you're cool. Did you just say? Get. Yes. Get. What's her name? Stacy. Stacy. Here's a towel. Wrap it around. Are you taking a mute, girl? No, she's not mute. She's just scared. Are you sure? Yeah. Wrap this around you. Stacy. Get out. Why is Uncle Jay here? Well, Stacy's there. You know why. Creepy. It's grossest. M1 Chadwick's on the line from San Diego. You there, Chadwick? Yeah, guys. How's it going? Good. Horrible 4 o'clock morning after Halloween.
Oh, my God. Wiener time. Oh, my God. No, you didn't. It's called the dream, pal. Yeah. Running into my fiance's room and calling back into Ben and unfortunately having to... The story came up in front of her parents a couple weeks later when my fiance was a little upset with me. And went from there. Okay. Here is the crucial question. And I need you to put on the honest cap. Here is the crucial question. Are you ready? Yes, sir. Was it a mistake or was it purposeful? No, absolutely.
Absolutely was a mistake. So are you saying nothing happened? Yeah, who was better? Nothing happened whatsoever. Nothing happened. That's what they all say. What was she wearing? I believe him. I do, too. What was she wearing when you were in bed with her? Oh, man, she sleeps naked. Is he still there? I know her sister even didn't happen. Yeah. Well, that's fine. Did you get a look? No, he didn't get a look. It was dark. Did you get a sense? It's not. I really love a future sister-in-law, but she's not one to look at. Okay, we get what you're saying. I think that makes a lot of sense. I don't even think you need to go any further with that. Yeah. Yeah. So you're still engaged? Absolutely. It's something that we kind of laugh about now. Take an old one-eye to the optometrist. Scoreboard doesn't lie. Never has. It's one of those things where we're just kind of like, oh, yeah.
if we happen to be staying at her house again. Chad, I'm locking my door tonight. She jokes around and says, I'm locking my door tonight. How intoxicated were you? It was a Halloween house party with two kegs. Now, was she not attractive? How was she not attractive? You can't say. Please say. I want to know. What did you do with them? Motorboat? You play the motorboat? Oh, Jay. You're a motorboating son of a bitch. Oh, Jay. Oh, you are a Jay, aren't you? Oh, you are so Jay-ish out. You are so Jade. You're jaded. Jaded. She's fat. She's fat. What? She's just not my type. Okay. Is she about a deuce, deuce and a half? No. It's not that. It isn't the overweight. It's not the overweight. She's Wookie-like. All right, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Letterman used to make fat jokes about Kirstie Alley, and she came on the show and read him the comments that he made. Next. This is the Mikey Show. The best. That's right, it's the best. More you know, the more you coals. Coals expect great things. I'm Stacey Cohen, FM 94.9. I, to my credit, Steve Woods have a hole in one. And Jay. I love that sappy movie. On FM 94.9. I had a lot of fat jokes about Kirstie Alley and she was a guest on last night. She read him. In Austin, Texas, there's this whole thing that's been going on in Austin for years where tourists come and see it. It's pretty cool. Austin has a lot of bat, okay? Yes. And during the summertime, they have a lot of bats. And at a certain time of night, right before it gets dark, they all come out and it's pretty cool to see. In fact, there's about a million and a half of them. There's a million and a half bats and they live under a bridge in Austin. Yep, I've been there. You've seen it, right?
People come, they like to watch it. Well, there's been a drought in Texas. Big time. And the drought has basically destroyed crops, and it's killed a lot of the delicious pets that these bats eat. And so what that means is that the bats have to leave home earlier to go out and try to find some food. Did you say pets? What did I say? You said some of the delicious pets. Pests. Pests. I was like, what? They're killing pets? No, pests. Sorry. Okay. Sorry. Anyway, so they got a lead from under the bridge earlier. Yeah. And what that has done is that there are so many hundreds of thousands of them, they show up on weather radar. Holy cow. Holy cow is freaking right. Oh, wow. They show up on weather radar like a cloud. That's cool. That is wild. That's a million and a half of them. Oh, my God. My favorite thing when I go see my sister, we'll go sit in the pool at night and all these bats come and drink from the pool when you're there. We call it the bat show. And everybody goes out there and sits and we drink a lot of beer and watch a lot of bats. These are not dangerous bats, right? No, they're just bats. They're all different sizes. They'll turn you into Dracula, dude. Woodsy.
We turned it into a game we took, and this is probably horrible, but they're bats. We had the noodles in the pool, and we said the first kid who could knock one in the pool gets a dollar. The kids all stood there with things above their head. Whap! Hitting bats as they came into the pool. Now, you tell that story in Austin, Texas, and you get laughs. You tell it in San Diego, California. The general manager of the radio station. Yes, it is. This is Rick R. Jackson. Hi, Mr. Jackson. My name is Janice. Hi, Janice. And I am 31. Okay. And I am a FM 94.9 listener. Okay. I've been for a long time. Okay. When you got rid of Tomian and Hanson, I was very upset. Okay. And then I heard that you were bringing over Pastor Mikey, I think his name is, right? He's not a pastor.
Oh, he's not? No, he's not. Oh, okay. Are you sure? Yes. Okay. Not yet. Now, he came over from the Knuckle Dragger station, right? Yeah, Rock 105.3. Right. They're the station that plays... I don't know what they play. They play, like, hard metal. Okay. Right? Right. Do you have a point, ma'am? Oh, I'm getting to it. Are you? You know, I heard... One of his cohorts that was on Wipeout, he's a shock jock, and I know that he's a shock jock. Stephen Woods? Nope, the other one. The better one on the show. The one that set a course record. The older guy. With the thinning hair? Yes, the thinner one. The thinning hair, not the fat one. No, no, no. The thinner wiener? No, the one that got through the course very fast is very athletic and muscular.
That's Jason R. Isbell. Right. Him. He said that for fun, he likes to gather children and kill animals. What sort of animals? That matters? Yes. Oh, really? Yes. What sort of animal? Maybe he was a hunter. It wasn't hunting. Do you eat meat? No. Do you eat fish? Of course I don't. Okay. What do you eat? Dirt? No, I'm a vegan. Oh, get. I gotta go. Is this Rick R. Jackson? Yes, this is Rick R. Jackson. Then don't talk to me that way. Pardon me, man. I'll start a petition. Weird. Don't think I won't. Maybe you do a protest page on Facebook because those work. I already am. Oh, you should hold a concert. A protest concert. That was an idea that was kicked around. Good luck on that. Why don't you let me finish? Have at it. So he was on the air. Okay.
And he was saying that he would gather children together and they would kill bats. Are you a bat owner? No. So what do you care? What do I care? Why do you care? It's a human animal. What the hell is a human animal? It's a living human animal being. It's not a human. You're an idiot. Did you just call me? No, respectfully. Respectfully, you're an idiot. I said respectfully, so it's okay. That is okay. Okay. And in defense to you, I am an idiot. Fair enough. Goodbye. Goodbye. She sounded cute. Did she? I hadn't hung up yet. I haven't hung up yet. That was Jason R. Isbell. Maybe send us a picture. Did he just say, I am cute? Did I sound cute? Because if he did, he's objectifying women.
And he's basically reducing me to breasts and private parts. I like what you're saying. Send us a picture. What else do you bring to the table? Rick R. Jackson. Is this really the general manager of this radio station? No, this is Woods from The Mikey Show. Steven R. Woods. He just got real good. You're the one that didn't make it through the course. Correct. We call him Chubbs. Yeah, Chubbs is fine. So you just answer the phones there? Sometimes. Is that what it's gotten to? Oh, no. I mean, I don't have to. I like to. I like to battle a little bit. I'm just that kind of guy. I am going to make a Facebook page called Protest Woods and FM 94.9. You should. Pick up my shirts on the way home, too, if you would. Get in line. Yeah, get in line. You guys just make jokes all day, isn't it? You and Jay? Yes. Sit around Rick's office. That's what we get paid to do. I bet you guys are gun owners too, aren't you? Absolutely. Do you guys just sit there and clean your pistols with a drumstick? Yeah, with a big fat dip of snuff in too. I just soiled myself. I did. Hey, if you don't like it, you don't have to listen. You can go listen to something else. No, I can't. You can't? No, because I'll tell you why.
Because this is my favorite radio station. You're ruining it. You and Pastor Reverend Rabbi Mike. He's definitely not a rabbi. Whatever. All I know is that all it is, the whole morning show long, all he does is get on a pulpit. And start reading from the Bible. That's not a true fact. Yes, it is. Everyone knows it. Everybody knows it. Everyone knows that's what he does. He doesn't read directly from the Bible. Is that some sort of proverb or something that you just said? He does not read. That's all he does. You know, and I just think that everybody should be represented. Okay. And if that show. First of all, I don't want to hear a talk in the morning. If I did, I would put on like some anemic show on TV. Okay. But I wouldn't listen to the radio. I wouldn't listen to the DS and Chainsaw. I wouldn't listen to the show. Is that what it's called? I think so. I wouldn't listen to...
Pee Wee's Playhouse. Nor would I. I wouldn't listen to Jaeger and Christy. Jagger and Christy. It doesn't matter. I thought it was a silent J. Which is what I wish you guys had. You got that right. Good one. That's actually pretty good. I know it is. Guess what? I actually have a brain and I like to use it unlike your guys' Useless blather. Blather? It's more inane blather. Inane. Yeah. That's the word you're looking for. Oh, really? Did you go to college to learn that? I did. I am going to get you off the air. Have at it. And guess what? Do your worst. Guess what? What, Chubbs? I am not chubby. Aren't you? Send us a picture. I am not going to send you a picture because that is not what I will be reduced to. Anyhow. Won't you? Would you like a bathing suit? Yes. I was kidding. I didn't mean it. Two-piece. Topless. I only have one pieces. But anyway, what I was about to say was. What I was about to say was. Is that I'm going to put you out of work. And Pastor Mikey will be standing on a street corner. Not like he already doesn't. Reading from the Bible. Screaming at people down at Seaport Village. Like I'm sure he already does. Yeah, he does do that. That's a true statement. You've seen him down there. Yeah, I know. I heard.
That he walks up to atheists and punches them in the face. He kicks them in the balls, too. I heard that. But he also does caricatures, so. Yeah, and with the lady atheists, he actually gives them a purple nurple. That's a T-twister. I know what a purple nurple is. I'm not stupid. And he says, repent. Yeah, and then he throws them into the sea with a rock tied around their neck. That's right. I want to squeeze them. That's a true statement. I'm going to go now, and I will get a hold of the real Rick R. Jackson. Have at it. Goodbye. Bye. Little angel. Sweetie. I didn't hang up yet. Did you just call me a little angel? Yeah. Did you get that out of Mikey's Bible? No. That's what I call sexy women. Little angels. Little angels. Goodbye. Bye. Might have gone something like that. Yeah, could have. Something like that. Could have. 570-1949 is our number. Kirstie Alley, ladies and gentlemen. on David Letterman's show, Getting Back at Dave. Do you love me still? Of course I love you. What do you mean, do I love you still? Well, because I feel like I'm a little estranged from you. I thought you loved me madly, and then you would talk about me being sort of chub.
But some of your jokes were funny, but I didn't know if it meant that you didn't want me anymore. No, no, no. You're worried that I sort of assailed you with these jokes about weight and being overweight and things like that. I wasn't worried. I'm just on Twitter every day, and they go, I'm feeling all good. Like, oh, yeah, my life is good. Dave said this about you being fat. I'm sorry. And I would defend you. I'd go, not Dave. Dave loves me. Love me. Love me. I do love you. But I did make jokes about the weight. You did? I have a few. Wait a minute. Now, these are jokes I told about you. Well, I didn't tell them about myself. Okay. Hmm. Kirstie Alley joining Dancing with the Stars. If you don't already own one, now might be a good time to get a widescreen TV. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Last night on Dancing with the Stars, I like to talk really loud when I'm doing this. Last night on Dancing with the Stars, Kirstie Alley fell on the dance floor. How many of you felt it? Jay's writing these down to use on you and I, by the way. Of course he is. However, however, the judges scored her an eight. The judges scored her an eight on the Richter scale. Predictable.
All I care about is that you love me. And every once in a while, you throw in on the show to balance it out. I love her. She's wonderful. But you understand, we do love you. And if you were skinny, we would tell jokes about you. Probably not. Who doesn't get called out about? Yeah. He doesn't have to make those jokes. Does he? Nah, man. It's easy ones. Say, ooh, that hoe is big. Hi, it's Mikey. I'm just sitting here with a couple of TV stars. Woods and Jay. One TV star. Jay was there too, Woods. No, Jay was the TV show. That was a big play. Show Wipeout last night on ABC. These two animals. Listen to this. How about some of this? Well, from a couple of airborne lawyers, we take you to a couple of on-air outlaws. It's radio personality Stephen Wood and his producer Jay Isbell. Hello. Did you say disc jockeys or fist jockeys? Oh, mama, that hurt. Wow, that is a serious shock to the jock. Jay.
Woods? No. The other way around? The first one and the very first deal when we're on the big platform, Jay whap. But I think the interview with Jill was before that and you slapped me. Yeah, I got you. Right in the nuts. Yeah, we both. So who is the boss and who's the employee? I'm the boss. You're the boss. I'm the big boss. Uh-huh. I'm the boss. I'm the big boss. Isolate. Isolate. Isolate. Isolate. The Big Boss. And what's the radio show about? A lot of that. There's a lot of that stuff going on every day. Yeah, there's a lot of that. So that's why they call it slapstick. Did you guys ever at any point say the Mikey show? They won't let us. They wouldn't? No. I had my Be Different bracelet on, though. Did they make you take it off? Nope. Not in my interview. If you look at my interview with Jill, I have it on my hand as I'm hitting Jay in the balls. Yeah, that's different. Who could look at anything else with Jill? First to take on the... She's six foot four? Yeah, she's tall. I'm trying to use this as a springboard to his next gig. It looks like Fluffy and Spot are finally getting some company. Welcome to the pound, Jay. Our puppy's giving this jock a good sniff. Yeah, well, only one way to get out of the doghouse. I'll give him a face for radio. Oh, you felt weird. I love it. Let's see who's old now. Go!
Employee Steven stepping up to the mic, and I'm the jiggalator. Sure, sweet now. Ah, sweet harassment. It's the only reason the shock jocks get out of bed every morning. Before you get yourselves in a twist here, shock jocks, don't think of this as a competition. Think of it as a relaxing corporate retreat. That was badass. We finished in the first round. We finished in second place. There were 12 total teams. We finished number two in the first round, and we finished number one in the second round. I was like, dude. We got this, man. We are getting $50,000. What they don't tell you is the very first team that went out broke their leg. Didn't come back. Who was the first team? Purple team. You didn't see them on the episode because they broke their leg. Really? It was the first person of the day. We're all waiting off the set in a trailer and we all have our stuff on the tables and they came walking in and they're like, hey, where's purple team stuff? We're like, oh, this is right here.
Okay, thanks. And they just took it. Yeah, and we're sitting there going, what the hell happened? And they didn't tell you? So eventually we made friends with some of the people that worked there. So they were like, yeah, they broke their leg. Uh-huh. That course is designed to murder you. I mean, it's a lot of fun. It's a lot, a lot of fun. And if you do well, it's a lot of fun. If you don't do well, it's not as much fun. On TV, the falls, because the TVs are small, the falls look small. But we were falling from, you know, 20 feet, 30 feet up. My goodness. The cameras that are filming you guys, are they big? Yeah. They're everywhere, too. And they're everywhere. And they're big cameras? Yes. Yeah, there's all different size cameras. Some people have cameras mounted on their chest. Some people, there's cameras mounted up in truss work. And then there's big cameras on the side where they're shooting you. Wow. It's pretty amazing, man. Yeah. These guys were on the TV show Wipeout. National TV last night. Pretty nuts. I look like a big, giant dip ass on national TV for the whole night. Didn't I? Well, you make it. I think you make it.
out to be worse than it was. Yeah, sure I do. You made it out to be really, really bad. And then when I saw it, I thought, you know, I didn't think you looked bad. Nice Bieber. Still gets me. They're changing Tylenol. You take Tylenol? Yeah, it's right here. They're changing it, buddy. You might not like what they're going to do, but they're changing it. And I'll tell you what it is. And we're going to play Let's. When we come back, it's going to be let's throw a football. Now, Woods maintains with Jay, yeah, you're good at everything. But pick up a bat or try throwing a football. He has said that for a year and a half. Yeah, real sports, not exercise. Real sports. And so when we come back, they're going to throw a football through a tire. And we'll film it and we'll broadcast it. And Woods has basically said.
Well, not basically. You did. You said, I guarantee you, we do that, I will win. Yeah. That'd be good. There's no question. Okay. If I sit down. Mikey. Seriously, dude? Call Mikey now. 570-1949. And? I'm trying to get you what you want here, and our printer doesn't work. That's weird. It's not printing. What's the deal with the printer, Jay? Murphy's freaking law, dude. Woods. Woods is a tornado. I didn't do anything. It worked for me. Chris will come in and fix you right up. What did I say we were going to do? We are going to throw the football, Jay, and I are going to do that. And the Tylenol. And the Tylenol. Based on that. All right. Well, let me tell you about the Tylenol thing. Apparently, they're not going to make extra strength Tylenol anymore. You want it, you can't have it.
I want it. You can't have it. No, I don't want it. Johnson and Johnson says, guess what? We're done with it. No more extra strength Tylenol because of accidental overdose of acetaminophen. Jay, say that word. Acetaminophen. Yes. You got it. Nice. Nice job, Jay. This is me not on drugs, bro. I'm trying to get in his head. We're about to have a contest. I'm just trying to piss him off. As I said, the first one's free. The next one goes in your mouth. Now, starting this fall. labels on extra strength Tylenol packages are going to list that the maximum dose is six pills and that that's down from eight pills a day that you could take total. They're saying now you could take six pills a day. That's it. Tylenol. Oh, somebody's got a frowny face. Tylenol is what I use if I have a fever, I guess. It's what I use when I run out of Advil.
It's not a pain reliever to me. I use Advil. Anyway, that's the deal. You guys ready to play Let's? Let's. All right. I'm turning on the world feed panel so we can go out there, and I'm going to call the action from out there. Can you get a mic check here? Yeah, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Go ahead. Hey, check, check. Hey, can you see me? Can you hear me? Yep. Everything's good? Okay, we're ready. All right. Coming out there. Come on out, Mikey. Mikey's coming on out. We've got danger people out there. No, we'll put somebody over there to catch it. All right, cool. All right, so what we have here is we're going to play let's what, throw? Let's play football. Let's play football. All right, well, here's the deal. Jay and Woods, they get into it all the time about who is better at stuff. Jay wins a lot of contests, but as always said, pick up a bat or do anything really athletic. I have a question before you throw the football.
You're going to be throwing the football through a bicycle tire. And excuse me because I haven't had a lot of sleep. Woods, what if neither of you make it through the ring? That's not going to happen. You believe there is absolutely no chance that you will miss the hoop. Right. Okay, cool. How many throws? How many throws? You can't hear this? Let me make sure. Oh, wow. Is that air? Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. I don't think you can hear it. Jay is saying, or Adam says you can't hear it. Sounds all muffled. Sounded okay when Jay was doing his deal. Yeah, it still sounds good. Is it all right? I can hear you. You can hear me? Yeah, sounds good. I think Adam might be on drugs. All right. Adam, Jay says he thinks you're on drugs because he said he could hear it. All right. Okay. What about five throws? Okay. Best out of five. Best out of five. All right, here we go. Everybody stand out of the way. We don't want to hit anybody. All right, Woods is about to throw. Here we go. Right through the hoop. Right through the hoop. Woods. That was impressive. That was very impressive. Comes the second one. Oh, wow, that was bad. That was very, very bad. Was very low and to the right. Nowhere near the hoop. Jay, this is going to be tough for you because the first one went right through that hoop.
Five. Oh, he hit the tire. He hit the tire on the lower left-hand side of the tire but did not go through. Here comes his fourth. Right through the tire. That one you got, right? Got it. All right, so you're two for four. And here comes your last one. Here comes your last throw. Oh, that did not make it. No, it hit the – it hit it. It didn't make it. It didn't make it, Woodsy. I'm sorry. All right, so Wood's got two out of five. You got two out of five. All right, Woods, you just have to beat two out of five. If you beat him, Jay, that means that you are a wipeout champion and also champion here. First throw. It was low, didn't make it through. Oh, wow, wow, wow. Woods just threw that football back at Jay. My goodness. There's a second throw. Oh, wow, way low, way low. I mean, just like nowhere near. Here comes his third throw.
Jay, you got to make this throw. You got to make this throw. He says it sounds horrible. They're saying it sounds horrible. It's just me. I'm not the best. I'm just not a good broadcaster. Ciro just came out here and said that it doesn't sound good on the air. Now, were you guys listening just straight through the radio? Oh, man. All right. All right, here we go. Here comes his third. Oh, he made it. Jay, if you make. The next two. If you make the next two, Jay, you're going to beat him. Here comes the next two. Oh, he made it through. Holy cow. You're now tied. Woods just hurled that football. If you make this one, Jay. Nice, Jay. Holy cow. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Woods just said a bad word. Did I? Yeah, but it didn't print. I lose everything. I hurt you.
Oh, my gosh. I'm winning. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Hopefully we had bet something. Hopefully we had bet something. I'm not trying to be the best working out. I'm trying to be the best at sports. Oh, my gosh. I'll get you. I will get you yet. Woods. Woods. I'm not worried about it. I can get a chance to warm up. Let me. I'm going to be. Hang on. He throws like a girl. Even Adam said it. He goes, he throws like a girl. Wait a second. He's lobbing it in there. I'm firing darts. Hang on. We're going to have a press conference, and I'm going to be your PR agent. Okay. All right? Press conference. I'd like to thank everybody for coming here today after what just happened. Woods lost and Jay won. Weirdo. Woods guaranteed. My client Woods guaranteed a victory, but I need to let everybody know something. Number one, Woods is working on very little sleep today. No excuses. I'm your PR agent. Okay.
He's working on very little sleep, and he is working on a gimpy leg. Woods, what happened? No, he throws soft. I was throwing hard. You'll see it on the film. He's doing this bit. He's throwing a dart, and he's throwing like a lob, and I'm throwing smoke through the thing. Seemed like it went straight through. Yeah, it went up, and Adam goes, God, he throws like a girl, and Adam's his boy. I threw the first two. I was just kind of warming up, and those were bad throws. But then I kind of got in my groove. Right. Figured it out. And you started lobbing it. Well, hey, what was the name of the game? Was it who could throw the hardest? No, no. It was accurate, and I'm an accurate guy. Whose throw looked the prettiest? Was it the best quarterback? Or was it who could get it through the tire? I will bet you $100, $100, that given 10 throws, I will smoke you. $100 cash. No, I think we're good. Yeah, that's what I thought. $100 cash. I'm loose now. Now I'm loose. The guy got you. He didn't get me. I won. I won. He throws like, you know. Well, we're going to put the video up. You be the judge. We're going to put the video up. You be the judge. And we can't do 10 because that is massive. We'll do it after the show and film it. Okay. Okay. 100 bucks. No, because I'm leaving. I have a plane to catch. That's what I thought. That was fantastic. Was it? I thought it was pretty good. It was pretty awesome.
Oh, okay, so LOB brought this up the other day, and I said, we've got to talk about this. It's those awkward moments where, and it could be any of, you can come up with any of these. I just want you to call us and tell us and give us more, but you know how when you see somebody that you know in traffic, and you look over and, hi, how you doing? And you wave hi to them, and then you come to a traffic light, and then they pull up to you again. And you have that awkwardness in that moment where you're like, do I wave again? Hey, still here. Hi. Happened to Jay and I this morning. This morning. Driving in. Were you guys right at the light? No, we were on the highway, on the 5. So you said hi. Hey. Hey. Good to see you. Hi again. Yep. What's up? Hey, there you are. Look at you. It's just awkward. Yeah. Or let's say that you're getting back from the bathroom on a plane and you have to...
interrupt a stranger again to because you're on the window seat yes and they're in the aisle seat and it was already awkward when you were getting out because they had to pack their laptop and their coke in the plastic cup and the little doily napkin that it's sitting on and all their stuff and they got to put it all in their lap then they have to fold the tray table up And then they have to sort of do the thing where, you know, they're moving, they're spreading their legs as far apart as possible and sitting up and the person's getting through. And they come back. Maybe they take a while. By this time, you're all set up again. And maybe you're dozing off. And they have to do the uncomfortable so that you move. I'll tell you the worst. I went into a bathroom lavatory. Drop some heat. And when I went into that bathroom, there was no one in line. Of course not. And all I did is tinkle. Don't. I tinkled. Don't say that. I went tinkle. You didn't tinkle. Please stop saying that. And I opened the door and there's a 23-year-old woman in a sundress. Smelling like raspberries. Smelling like sun-ripened raspberry. Not for long.
You know, you open that cardboard partition, Woods is sweating. You can't get it out of your head, can you? No, I haven't heard one word that you said. That I said. I looked over at Woods right now, and he was glazed over that Jay beat him in Let's Throw a Football. If it was Let's Throw a Football Like a Girl, then yes, he beat me. It's worse for you right now than a wipeout. Oh, it's 50 times worse. Because I should have taken, I shouldn't put heat on it. I should have just tried to get it through, but I was trying to throw good. Oh, shoulda, woulda, coulda. Fair enough. Story of my life. Let's go. Not this break. We got to figure out. Apparently the mic was messed up. We'll figure the mic out. Let's go again. What was up with the mic? I have no idea, but they say you sound like a robot. I bet it was. Oh, yeah. We'll try it again. We'll go double or nothing. Well, there was no bet. Yeah, there's no bet. 20 bucks. 20? Well, you got 20. Well, I mean, I should already get 20. I should already get 20 for the first one. So you're going to pay me 40. If I beat you again. Yes. Will you do something embarrassing? Me? Yes. Don't I always? Okay, here's the deal. Jay doesn't owe you anything, but he'll give you another shot. I'll give you another shot. Okay, so let's say this. You're going to go five throws. Do you think that you're going to lose? No. Okay, if you do, you shave a fryer cut. When we get back from vacation. You don't think you're going to lose. I know. You think that what happened was unfair. Yeah. I'm trying to think of my strategy, though. Do I lob it or do I just keep throwing to eat?
It's Jay. You feel you can beat this guy no matter what. You were willing to put $100 on him. He throws like a girl. I'd rather do $1,000 than do a fryer cut. No, but a fryer cut would look so good on you. But you don't believe. You got to win. Woods just picked up a water bottle and tossed it on the floor. All right, Jay. Yes. So he's got to shave a fryer cut. Holy crap, dude. And you, I guess. I'd pay him 20 bucks. You got to pay him 20 bucks. Yeah. You ever just say stuff, Woods? You ever just say it? Holy cow, this has got me excited. This has got me very, very excited. Oh, man, Woods. Woods right now is standing up. He is taking napkins and he's putting them under his shirt and wiping himself off. Wiping his man pits. He is sweating.
My wife. Nice Bieber. Well, here's the thing, too. My wife is mortified right now. Well, here's the deal, too. You're going to have a great vacation. It's going to be great. We're off next week. You're going to have a great vacation. But if you lose this, it's all you're going to think about is what you've got to do when we come back. You know how hard I've been working on growing this hair out to where it looks like I like it finally? My wife last night goes, I freaking love your hair. You look so good like that. I'm like, thanks, babe. Woods, you do not believe that you will lose to Jay at throwing a football. I can't believe I lost. That one. Okay. You can't? No. Because I have a good arm. I have a feeling he's going to be paying you 20. So Jay loses, he pays you 20. You lose, you shave a fryer cut. Those last three went right through. He's so nervous. Get off my tab, Jay. Went right through. So nervous. 570-1949 if you'd like to give us a call. And we should do it again anyway because it didn't sound right. And then we're going to be doing NFL trivia with Woods. With an air gun. Don't worry about it. You're doing great. You're going to do great. 570-194-9 is our number. What do we do? The awkward moments thing. It didn't work out. Nobody's calling. Nobody's got them. I don't even have them. Maybe we listen to Journey performing at Rockefeller Center. They have a Filipino lead singer. And the guy sounds just like Steve Perry.
He's identical Steve Perry. He's identical Steve Perry. They're touring. They're coming here. No, we don't know what they're playing yet. You think it's a new or an old? It has to be an old. It's got to be an old, right? Nobody's going to tolerate a new Journey song. Oh, no, you're not. Yes, they are. Come on. No one knows what that is. A new Journey song? Sounds like Steve Perry. Maybe you play Stone and Love. Yes. Maybe play open arms. Three foot tall. He's three foot tall. Whoa, look at those. All right. Oh, wow. I want to see that. Does sound like Steve Perry. Very much. Who's that? One of the Today Show chicks. Little Angel. Maybe sing Stone in Love. Yeah, dude. Dumb song that no one's heard of. 5701949. Oh, celebrity. Listen to this. Yesterday, I told you that 007, Sean Connery, when he was 007, he had a wig. Yeah, toupee.
Guy wore a toupee. Here's some other stuff. Mr. Rogers. Fred Rogers. You know how he was known for those sweaters? Yes, the cardigans. Mm-hmm. All of those sweaters that he wore were actually knitted by his mother. That is a true story. It's a true fact. Wow. I'm speechless. Speechless. Nicholas Cage was in a movie in 1984 called Birdie. And in the movie, he had to... Being a lot of pain. So he pulled two of his own teeth out in real life so that his character would have that realism of being in immense pain. Good. Method acting. Mm-hmm. You never get those back. Whitney Houston. Like I said, couldn't be a crackhead. In the 1980s, she started out singing jingles for Bounce Fabrics Offer. So she started.
Jack Nicholson. This is really weird. Jack Nicholson was raised by his grandparents and thought that his mother, June, was his sister. Yep. Heard that one before. That is freaky. He didn't find out the truth until 1974 when a Time Magazine reporter researched his life and uncovered it. Yep. He didn't even know. He didn't know. Oh, he didn't know. Kevin Spacey in Seven. Brilliant. Worst. See? People really talk like this. Psychopaths really talk. Yes. Don't they? No, that's the deal. They blend in with everybody. You never know. The Lincoln Financial Media Station. And now back to The Mikey Show with Mikey. I don't know the difference between odd and even. Lauren. If there's a movie with Meg Ryan in it, I'm like, I'm out. I'm out. Woods. I got one word for you, dude. Yeah. And Jay. I stole from the Rolling Stones dressing room. I got this little coffin thing. I stole it from there on FM 94.9. All right, so we're going to test this for listeners. We want you to call us and tell us if it sounds okay. Jay, try it out. This is Jay testing the mic.
You don't sound like a robot, but you do sound real tinny. Yeah, let's see if this changes it. Try now. I guess it all sounds tinny, but you can't really do anything about that. At least he doesn't sound like a robot anymore. Well, I don't know. Maybe he does. Say test one, two, three. Test one, two, three. This is Jay testing the mic. One, two, three. Testing, testing. One, two, three. All right, people are calling. We're going to find out. How does that sound? Oh, sorry. Chris got it before I could. Let's see. How's that sound? Does that sound okay on the air? Hello? Is it better? What did it sound like the first time? It kind of fades in and out. You guys are really faint, and then it just sounds like a bad connection. Sometimes it's high, sometimes it's low. Weird. Okay, thank you. Thank you. Have a good day. Mikey Show, is that better? Oh, hey, it's M1 Chris. Hey, Chris. Hey, how'd you like those Tommy Bahama shirts last night, dude?
Uh, they were great. How did it say, hey, how did that... You know, the audio's so low. The audio's low. Still low? Can you hear me now? Uh, I'm turning it up. Mikey Show, who's this? Ethan? Yeah. How does it sound on the radio? Um, it sounds perfectly fine. Okay, cool. Alright, maybe we're fine. Yeah, there we go. We're perfectly fine. That sounds better. Alright. Alright, here we go. Are we ready to try? Let's go. Okay, let me explain. We're going to do the best out of five. If Woods loses, he has to shave a fryer cut into his hair when we come back from vacation. We're taking next week off. And if Jay loses, all he's got to do is give 20 bucks to Woods. We're going out into the hallway. We've got a bicycle tire that they're throwing the football through. So we're going to try this out. Mikey coming? Here he comes. Here comes Mikey. He'll be all out of breath when he gets here. Oh, hey, Mikey. Did you just say he'll be all out of breath when he gets here? Okay, Jay's going first. Best out of five. Here we go. Here comes the first throw. Here we go. First throw. Oh, dude, you missed going through there by about two inches. Here comes Woods. Woods has no shoes on. Right through the hoop. Right through the, I mean, dead center.
Dead center. Here comes Jay. Here comes Jay and his second throw. Oh, did not. It sailed wide left, nowhere near the center. Nowhere near the center. This is Woods' second? Is this Woods' second? Okay, this is Woods' second throw. Here we go. Second throw. Oh, almost. Now it hit the. Oh, did it go in? Okay, it was in. Okay. Okay. You're screaming. Sorry. Okay, here comes Jay's third throw. Third throw from Jay. Wide right. All right, so if Woods, if you make this Woods, it's over. All right, Woods is going. He got it. He got it. It went through. He got it. He destroyed the thing, but it went through. Woods, oh, my gosh, Woods is elated. Elated.
Woodsy, how nervous were you? I was pretty nervous. Oh, my gosh, dude. That's the worst punishment a guy could have, having to do that. Yeah. I'd have to spend a night in jail and then get a friar cut. I'm not kidding. Really, the deal is we're tied now. Because you won one, I won one. Yeah. Will you go double? I'll go double. You've got to take 40 off my tab. 40 off your tab. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it. Come on, Jay, please. Come on. All right, come on. Here we go. That's out of five. Wood starts. First throw. Missed. Don't say a bad word. Don't say a bad word. He missed. All right. Here we go. Now it's Jay's throw. Jay's about to throw. We're going double to nothing. Oh, he hit it, but it didn't go in, right? Didn't go in? Okay. So it's 0-0. Neither of them have made it. Here comes Woods' second throw. Oh, no. He didn't make it. He didn't make it. It was low and to the right. It was low and to the right.
Oh, he's talking to himself, and he just told him, just throw it, you pee. You made it? No. Low, low, low, low. It was low. It's because I want to see that fire cut. Fire cut. Fire cut. All right. Oh, no. It did not. Woods is so close to cursing. Do not curse. Jay, what throw is this? Neither of them made it. Third. Jay. Oh, Jay did not make it. Low and to the right. Jay did not make it. That was your third, right? That was your third? That was your third? How many throws is this for you, Woods? Four. Didn't make it. Hit it. Hit the bottom of the tire. Didn't make it. Oh, Woods is upset and banging walls of people's offices that are not our offices. Oh, gosh. Oh, that was messed up, Woods. Right when Jay threw the ball, Woods said good luck, and it went.
Flying into the ceiling. Woods, what number is this? What number is this? This is five. This is your last one. Here we go. He hasn't made one yet. Yes, okay. So he made it. Jay's got to make this one. And if Jay makes this one, then we have to go into a shootout. Woods is walking down the hole, biting his T-shirt. Biting his T-shirt. That's worse than a fire truck for you. Yes, sir! Complete tank. Sorry, I unplugged the microphone. Yeah, that was a complete and utter tank on Jay's part. Woods, how do you feel? I have a shred of dignity back. Just a shred. I can enjoy my vacation. I got 40 bucks knocked off my tab. I'm a little bummed that I missed four out of five of them. I wasn't expecting that, but that was the most nerve-wracked I've ever been. Listen, as good of friends as we are, I just know that fire cuts are good radio.
Oh, my gosh. Put your hand on his heart. Can you feel that? That's intense. Yeah. His heart is pounding like a little bunny rabbit right now. Yeah, if you could feel it through all that fat. Okay, let's go back into the studio. And everybody come in now. Everybody here for live in July. Come on in. Ow! Ow! That was great. Dang it. Holy Toledo. Hey, guys. Oh, my. Oh, my. Gosh. That felt like the World Series to me right there. Man. It felt like the World Series. It felt like you were watching your favorite team in the World Series. Well, the cool thing is is that there actually was a lot on the line in that. Big time. There was a lot on the line there. Big time, dude. And, you know, I did lose the first one, and I lost it fair and square. Yeah. But I was able to win the next two out of three, not with the best showing on the third one. But on the second one, I just hit three in a row, and that was game time. That was fun. I didn't give you a sheet. I didn't do anything. I'm going to vomit. It's okay. I got stuff. We got stories. We got fun stuff to do. Let's get people in here. Holy cow. And we're calling it Live in July. We got a live studio audience in here. Come on. Make sure you make noise, Matt. Come on. That's what I'm talking about.
That's what I'm talking about. Live studio audience in here. All right, so I got some more. I got two more facts for you. The other one was on Leonardo DiCaprio. He apparently got kicked out of, he was on the TV show Romper Room when he was three, but they fired him because he was disruptive and he couldn't be on the show anymore. Three years old. And Alicia Keys played one of Rudy's friends on the Cosby show before she was Alicia Keys. Nice. So, couple of facts to feast on. Let's see. What else I got? Hang on a minute. Okay. In Paris, did you know? Even Woods is doing a shirt shimmy. In Paris, it used to be illegal for women to wear pants. It's a real thing. Go on. It's 200 years old. They had to wear, like, skirts or something. It didn't mean they were walking around. Pantsless. No, meant they could not wear trousers. With well-tells, you know. Yes. And now, and by the way, it's been that way since 1799. But there is now a new foreign minister, a woman there in France, and she has now said that this is ridiculous and it is no longer the deal. This is Story of the J. Lift it straight from the loose of the day. And we're going to talk to the French woman.
French woman. Is this a French woman you say? A French woman. I thought you said it was a French woman. It's a French woman that we're going to be talking to. Is this the French woman? Oui, oui. Hello there. Oui. Mademoiselle. Oh, parlez-vous français? So you came into office and you banned this practice. Oh, yes. I deplore wearing skirts. Say again? I deplore wearing skirts. You deplore wearing skirts. You are from France, right? Oui. You know anything else French except for we? Oh, ho, ho. Thank you very much, French lady. I wonder what that translates to. I don't know. Every voice is weirder than the last. Sounds kind of like a Muppet when it's hot. You know, Jay, Jay is something else. You know, we did day.
We did a thing the other day. It was Name That Tune. And we used our name to buzz in. And we were doing it the other day. And the way that we decided we were going to do it was that Jay was going to sing the songs. But Jay doesn't like to sing publicly. It's like his worst fear. And so he did record these, but then he got rid of them. And Woods was loading sports audio and found... Are we not done with these? See these shackles, baby, I'm the slave. I'll let you whip me if I misbehave. Oh, wow. It's just that no one makes me feel this way. I hate you all. He sings like I do Wipeout. Come on, girl, go ahead, get on it. Come on, girl, go ahead, get on it. Come on, girl, go ahead, get on it. Come on, girl, get on, get on it. Come on, get on it. Okay. Okay. About this. Them baggy sweatpants and the Reeboks with the straps. She turned around and gave the big booty a slap. She hit the floor, hit the floor. Low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low. Best part. Ain't nothing. Sometimes the words escape me. Yeah, I guess. It's kind of like my demented grandfather sounded when he would talk. Like a guy in the attic.
Oh, the cranberries. Linger. We found some more. Oh, if you could return. Don't let it burn. Don't let it fade. I'm sure I'm being rude. But it's just sitting in the nude. It's tearing me apart. It's ruining everything. And I swore. Oh, wow. I swore I would be true. And honey, so did you. Oh, wow. So why were you holding her? He's so embarrassed. He is singing this song like a rapist looking through a window. A crack in the window. Like this. If you would return, don't let it burn. The girl's brushing her hair. Yeah. Sounds like he recorded it with night vision on. Yes. No pants. What you gonna do with all that junk? All that junk inside that trunk.
I'm going to get you, get you drunk, get you lunk on my manly junk. What's lunk? You know. It's so good. Miley Cyrus. Hopped off the plane at LAX with the Dreamer card again. Welcome to the land of fame excess. Am I going to fit in? What? Doing it for you, isn't it? Jumped in the cab. Here I am for the first time. Looked right and I see the Hollywood sign. This is all so crazy. Everybody out there seems so famous. Oh, wow. Tummy's turning and I feel kind of homesick. Too much pressure and I'm nervous. That's what taxi man turned on. Holy crap. Just kill me right now. It's gold. Let's see. That something wasn't right here. Oh, baby, baby. I shouldn't have let you go. And now you're out of sight, yeah. Show me how you want it to be. He put on a Catholic schoolgirl outfit to record this. Because I need to know now. Oh, because your hairiness. Your hairiness? Yeah, clearly. Clearly. I must confess. You should get on the mic closer. I still believe. I think I can.
Sounds like Norwegian death metal. How about Shaggy? Honey came and she caught me red-handed, creeping with the girl next door. Picture this, we were both butt-naked, banging on the bathroom floor. How could I forget that I had given her an extra key? She was standing there, she never took her eyes off me. Thank you. He doesn't do that bad when it's deep. If it's deeper, he does it okay. But with the breathing, the breathing is something. You can't hear yourself with headphones on. I know, you can't. It's fantastic. 570-1949 is our number. We just winging this now? No, I wanted to give some of the Wipeout stuff. It's my fault. Anybody go last night? Anybody here? There last night? A lot of people in the studio were there for the Wipeout premiere. Gosh darn. What a trip.
Yeah, it was. I went home and watched it because I didn't hear the audio. What? Oh, my gosh. What? What? Why are you in your coffin? What? Maybe go to bed. I couldn't. Dude, I was so wired from that deal. Sominex or something, you know? Well, I was going to take... Hot milk. I was going to... I was up until one in the morning reading people's, you know, ugly comments on Facebook and just stressing and just freaking out. I am fat, but... If you're fat, don't call me fat. You're snorting sausage and you're saying I'm fat. She's still spitting pear balls. At the end of the night, I'm like, I look over at my wife. I'm like, she's a pretty hot piece. I did all right. So, back off. Wow. Wow. I was furious. You're very quick. You can be quick tempered. Yeah. Yes. Kid just put a dip of snuff in. Settle him down a little bit.
It's going to be a little bit of a loose cannon. I couldn't. Man, I tried to sleep. So I was like, I counted backwards. Everything. Nothing worked. He had to be censored on the TV show Wipeout. And that's the shock jock your boy Steven. Censored. Twice. Didn't I? I called you an old F. Yeah, you did. You did? I said, hurry up, you old F. Shock jock boss Jay. And just like that, this race is tied up three ways. Next guy through gets his team through. You got this, buddy. Open frequency for the shock jock employee, Steven. The finish is dead ahead. That's me screaming. He was so upset. He was upset that Woods didn't get through the thing. Yeah, when we were driving back from L.A. and I had vomited. Let's go before that. Okay. Because what we didn't talk about yet, and no one knows, is after Woods...
after Woods had to be taken out by paramedics. See, at the end of the show, people thought that Woods quit. He didn't quit. He broke his ankle. I quit. I quit. I mean, there's no... I wanted to finish. I couldn't finish. Well, yeah, you broke your ankle. He's on TV right now. I just saw Woods go by on the TV. I started playing it. Oh, okay. So Woods broke his ankle, and he also had a concussion. Yeah. Okay? And so you were dealing with a lot. And so they... Drug you out. Yeah, they pulled me out by my life jacket. They pulled me up and out, and then they took my life jacket off me. And then you threw up. Yes. Nice beaver. And then. Deserve that. And then they walked you. Two guys, right? Yeah, a guy and a girl. Oh, that ho is big. One of the girls, she was a paramedic. She's stout. Okay, and she helped to carry you. Yes. Back to the trailer? Yes. Where Jay was? Yes. What happened? I walked in. Jay, hang on. Jay, I'm going to ask you to be silent because I know you. I know you so well. And I know that as he tells this story, you're going to go, that ain't true. It didn't happen like that. Oh, I think he'll agree with that. Okay. I walk into the trailer. Now, they take me to a different trailer than we started in. Medic trailer? No, just kind of an empty trailer. Okay.
And there my stuff was in another thing. They have already gathered it all up. I think Jay's the one that gathered all my stuff up, threw it all in a bag and took it over to this, I guess, the reject trailer. And so I walk in there, dude, and I just I hit the floor and I laid back and I was laying on your back on my back. And I was anybody in there. A couple of a couple of people, the guys that won were in there and they were like, you OK, you OK? They were checking on me. They wanted to make sure that I was okay. That you were okay. Well, they had just won $50,000 as well, and so they were pretty stoked. Right. And so they were like, hey, man, can we wipe your nose with some 20s or 100s or something? Absolutely. Yeah. Jay was... Let's pause, because it's actually time to take a little break. So when we come back, you'll get to hear the story about what Jay said, what Jay did. what the ride home was like, and what I've been living with until last night when the show finally aired. We'll tell you all about it coming up next. Let's make some noise in our live studio. I love this guy. Since the Duke sex scandal. More from The Mikey Show coming up. Be a part of the show.

Sorry to be the one, I have to tell you. Oh my God. Back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. He sees the word wonderful. Again. I'm 40. It's okay. Woods. Your boy gets in the shower and I have very little hair and I have to condition, of course, because it smells so good and it feels so good when you condition. Lauren. When I have to say smart things on the spot, I'm like... And Jay. Please grow up on FM 94.9. It's the Mikey Show and fresh off a night of Jay and Woods on the show Wipeout. And it was a good night. Good night. A lot of fun, and we were over at Dave and Buster's, and it far exceeded any expectations I think any of us had. Packed the place. There was a line out the door way before the thing even started, and it was really cool. Okay, so when we left, we were telling you this story. So if you watched Wipeout last night, the thing is, at the very end of it, Woods could not continue. Yep. He broke his ankle. Did he? Didn't I?
And he also, I think, had kind of a panic attack. A little bit of everything. Concussion. And so they drag you out. Yeah, pull me out. Now, you hear, who is the host? Jill Wagner. Jill or the Johns? Jill Wagner. She says, oh, no, I think he may be quitting. And Jay says, oh, he can't quit. And so you can tell Jay in his mind is, oh, this guy has to date. Just finish this stupid thing and we win $50,000. Well, it didn't happen. They drag Woods out. The paramedics drag him out. Put him in a wheelchair. Yeah. And then they help carry you to this trailer. Yes, where Jason. And do they put you in the trailer and leave? Yeah. Well, they were like, are you all right? They had to get back because there was a million other contestants. Right. So they say to you, you okay? You say yeah. Yeah. and then they leave, and then Jay comes in? No, I was already in there. Jay was in there. Oh, you were in there? Oh, yeah, I was in there. Yep. Okay, so what happened? Well, I laid on the floor on this dirty, sandy, disgusting floor, and I couldn't move, man. I was jacked. And he's like, come on, let's go. And he's like packing my stuff up in my bag, and he's... That's not true. Yes, it is. Remember when I said...
You've got to let Woodsy tell the story. What did I say? I need some rebuttal time. I knew Jay was going to go, that ain't true, man. I need some rebuttal time. Didn't do it that way. He's like, come on, let's go. Let's get on the road. We've got to get on the road. And I was like, all right. And I go, dude, I'm sorry. First thing I said was, I'm sorry. I was like, dude, I let you down. Well, you did. Yeah, he was kind of silent. It's 50,000. It's a lot of dough. I mean, you know him. He had that money spent. He had that money spent. Okay? Yeah, for sure. For sure. Yeah. And listen. You know how many marijuana cigarettes you can buy? Dude, this year for my wife and I, we have dropped some coin. We lost some money when we were adopting our fake kid. Oh, wow. Woods, did you have to go there? We were like 19 grand in the hole. Made Jay feel real bad. I wanted that money too, dude. I wanted that money bad. You don't have to do that. Don't worry, but don't worry. Don't. No, you don't have to. The printer won't work. It's okay. So I got in the back seat, dude, and I laid down, and I started taking the tape. What are you in it? His truck? His truck. Okay, you're in the back seat. And it's what time, dude? It's like 11. It's 11. Now, we had been up. We got up at 3.30 that morning. We worked our show. We drove to L.A., gnarly traffic. Then we waited. Then we did the show. And then, I mean, we'd been up for 20 hours, 22 hours, something like that. Right.
And we're driving back and I'm in the backseat and I am jacked. I'm jacked. My ankle is throbbing. My head is killing me. I'm nauseous. You had a concussion. I mean, I'm nauseous. I'm like, I'm talking to my wife, you know, I'm telling her the deal. And he dropped me off and he was, I mean, he didn't, I slept for like an hour, one hour. And he was furious. Jay wants a rebuttal. He wants a rebuttal. Rebuttal. So where shall I begin? Shall I begin at the part where I encouraged you to, for God's sake, do something leading into these competitions? You told me that once you found out that we were on the show, you're going to quit smoking and you're going to start getting in shape. Now, by the way, so everyone knows, this is what I meant when I said what I've been hearing until last night when the episode aired. Because we couldn't talk about it. We weren't allowed to talk about it. But off the air. Every once in a while, Jay is like a steam engine, okay? So he holds all the steam, and then every once in a while, he'll go, and it just comes out. And he'd be like, I told you to work out. I told you to quit smoking.
Anything. What he told me. What he forgets is that I had lost 10 pounds leading up to that event. Leading up to that deal. I was working out. You weren't working out. Yes. You were taking a supplement. And I was going to the gym. You weren't going to the gym. He did lose a little bit of weight. I lost 10 freaking pounds. But losing weight doesn't count. You can lose weight by... Doing crystal meth. Yes. But you were going home every day. No, I wasn't. I was going to the gym. I was going to choose fitness and go to the gym. Okay. Now, in fairness to Jay, sometimes you and I would go to McDonald's and supersize it. Sometimes. Sometimes you have to treat yourself. Every once in a while. Every once in a while. Well, no, but at least three times a week. And so anyway. I was begging him to swim. He's like, swimming won't do me any good. Where swimming was where he had a lot of his challenges. Swimming would have been a good idea. Yeah. I'll give you that. Swimming would have been a. I have a tip. If you're going to go on Wipeout. Load yourself with about 75 pounds on your back, jump in your pool, and tread water and swim for hours. Because the swims are the worst part. The swims are what get you. When you fall in the water and you've got to swim, what, like 30 yards maybe back to the ladder? By the time you get to the ladder, you're like... And then you've got to pull yourself up. Then you've got to pull yourself up 12 feet. And you're in soaking wet clothing and a life jacket. Your shoes are...
15 pounds each. What they don't show is there's sand inside the life jackets, which is weird from being in all the mud because you're reusing the life jackets that they've had. So it's super heavy. Oh, gosh. You got a helmet on. So, okay, we're in the final thing. I told Woods exactly what to do. We get to go out and see the obstacle course. I don't like to be told what to do. I'm like, look, this is what we do. This is what we do. Each time we saw an obstacle, I say, this is what we do. As soon as he jumps in, he does the exact opposite of what I said to do. Give me an example. In the Iron Maiden, he goes to the right. Even the guys on the show go, well, he's taking a new tact on this. When I jumped in, the thing was spinning, and I didn't know where I was. You didn't know what direction. No, I didn't know which way was up, which way was down. You'll see me in a couple of these. When I get to the top, I just fall, and I fall to the bottom. I don't know where the hell I am. My brain is working a million miles an hour, and I'm like, because in my head, I know. All I got to do is finish. And we went. Just finish. And here's the thing, too. Everybody's brain works differently. And I have this weird memory coordination thing. So you know how sometimes when somebody goes, oh, yeah. And then we went over to the park and they point and they're pointing the opposite direction of the park. I'm the guy that goes, the park's that way. Right. And I'm not. Yeah. Woodsy's the opposite. And so for, you know, Woodsy has a tough time with a sense of direction.
And what way he's pointing. And so that was difficult for you. Extremely. And so what happened was you didn't know what direction you were pointed in. Didn't know which way was up, what I was doing. Oh, my God. And I went the exact opposite way that he told me. The right way. I went the exact opposite way. He can't help it, Jay. He couldn't help that. He didn't help that, but he could have, you know. Got into shape. Got into shape. I'll give you that. And I still, you know, let's see an x-ray. He prayed when he came. When we were driving home, he goes, I pray that my ankles. Oh, yeah, because I knew I'd never get a break. Woods has said to me, he goes, I'm going to go get that x-ray and I'm going to show it to you. I wish I knew my doctor's name. Let's do it. I'll put money on it. Do you have an x-ray? Yes, there is an x-ray. I believe it. I believe there's an x-ray. Do you think I would? No, I would. I do not.

Speaking of, Kevin, I'm going to have you come over here to this microphone if you can. Can you do that? Kevin looks familiar. Pull that microphone down. Woods just said to me right now, he's like, you want to do movies coming out this weekend? I'm like, uh-uh. I didn't know. I had no idea. He didn't know. And Jay pulled me out during the commercials. He goes, hey, can I talk to you? And I go out there. He says, this man wants to propose to his girlfriend. I said, yeah, let's do it.
You didn't have any idea, did you? No. Wow. Pretty awesome. Get some. It's a great way, man. Great way to get some. That's awesome, dude. That's pretty cool. Whoa. Pretty awesome, right? Wow. Well, listen, we want to thank everybody over at Dave & Buster's and thank everybody that came out. And it was a really good time. Like I said, we're taking a week off next week to kind of recharge our batteries. It's been a rough. It's been a rough couple of weeks for us, you know, with Sienna. And when Sienna left, it was, you know, all of us took it hard. I particularly took it hard. And when I would think about it, I would start, I would just spontaneously, my eyes would fill up with water. And I'd look over at the chair that she would be in and I would see it empty. And my eyes would spontaneously fill up with water. But I want to tell you about hope. I want to tell you about hope because it's something that I just didn't have. For years and years, I just didn't have it. All growing up, I was really an insecure person and always felt ugly and I always felt different. I always felt like I wasn't like my peers. I always felt they were luckier than me. I used to look at them and I used to want to be them.
I used to want to be anyone but myself. And one thing that I think I lacked more than self-esteem and more than confidence was I lacked hope. That became the overriding feeling in my life when I got into my 20s. I get into my 20s, man. I just, I did not have hope. I didn't have any hope for the future. I didn't have any hope in general. And I used to have to try to think of things that I could look forward to. And because I had all that stuff inside of me, because I had all those feelings, I tried to numb out. I would try to numb out with alcohol. I would try to numb out with drugs. I would try to numb out in any way that I could. No idea that it was all just a plan. It was all just a plan. And that the whole time God was knocking on my heart and I didn't know it. Now this is my experience. When I was in my early 30s, I was addicted to alcohol.
I asked Jesus Christ to come into my life and change my life. And very, very slowly, he started to. That was in 2003. In 2005, walking out of my dad's office at his house, I found a Bible called the Living Bible. I'd never read it before. And I picked it up and I started reading it. And it changed my life. And today, what I can tell you is a true story, is that I have hope. I never had hope before. Today, I have hope. Today, my life is not void of bad things happening. Bad things still happen. I mean, the thing that happened with Sienna, my dad. My dad has cancer right now, and my mother has Alzheimer's disease. My dad shared a story with me. And if he's listening, as much as you love listening to my testimony, Pop, I got to ask you to change the station or turn the radio off. Dad shared a story with me when we were in the car.
Recently, it was my dad's birthday. Came into the living room where my dad was, and she handed him a card for his birthday. And he read it, and he said that he thanked her for the card. And he walked into his office, and he closed the door, and he just cried. She was wishing him a happy anniversary. She didn't know it was his birthday anymore. She thought it was their anniversary. Married to her for 53 years. He's more in love with her today. And he was the day that he met her. He married her. Dad, it's all right. Because one day, you will stand any of those issues. If you're addicted to pornography and nobody knows about it. Having problem with substance abuse and no one knows about it. If you have an eating disorder, depression, or your marriage is rocky. Go to MikeyShow.com. And on the top of the page, it says help. And if you click on there, there's resources for all of the things that I just talked about.
But what I want you to know that happened to me when I allowed Jesus to change my life was that now I have hope. I can hear stories like the one that my dad told me, and although it makes me sad, I know it's all right. We will see you again after a week. Thank you so much, M1 Nation. We love you so much. Listen all next week, and we'll see you again. The Mikey Show is out. Thank you. You're lost and so afraid. Where is the home? The world's so cold. Looking for a distant light and fear. I know.
