In everybody's fantasy football league that adds and drops players a hundred million times. I'm that guy. Yes. Every league has that guy. And in our league, that's me. A hundred percent. And so Woods just saw me really quickly trying to, you know, add and drop players. And Woods goes, you make more moves. than John freaking Travolta, bro. The deadline is right at six on Tuesday. And so every Tuesday morning I see furiously trying to find this guy. Right, because I have to be chemo in our building who is a DJ on our country station because that guy is all over it just like me. Yep. And I was, I wish we could get Kimo on the phone. I was so upset with Kimo over the weekend because he picked up a guy I really needed. And then I look at his lineup and he's got him benched. It's part of the strategy. Yeah, you know, I just want depth. Yeah, and you want to, if you can pick up somebody great and keep them away from somebody else, it's half the battle. Well, he sure did. He beat my butt this week, so. Is that who you played? Yeah. 570-194-9 is our number.
And if you want to text 949mikey at gmail.com. So the word of the day is passport. And it's good for Bush, Filter, Chevelle tickets. Real nice. And I'll say that now, between now and 10. 21 and up show. So if you're going to win, you've got to be at least 21. So much to talk about. Mariano Rivera, big story. Two and a half men, big story. Jay. And what he did to LOB before the show began. Where was I? You were probably in here doing your work. I was doing audio. Yeah. And Jay told me. Oh, yeah. I think that's what he's doing right now. He's probably loading it in the system. He crept on LOB while she was in the bathroom. It's not what you're thinking. It's not what you're thinking. It's not what you're thinking. It's not what you're thinking. He's a sex pervert. Yeah. 8 o'clock. He said he needs time to edit. He loves to scare people. I got to tell you, when I pull in in the morning, I look for his car. And if I see his car walking down the hallway, I'm like, he's going to get me. He's going to jump out of something. That mask he got me with that one day. Oh, my gosh. What kind of mask was that? Old man mask. It was so creepy. I saw it. I thought it was Jay.
That SLB will get you in the morning. The last time you want to be got is at 4 o'clock in the morning, and he will get you. How are you feeling, pal? I'm better. I feel a little better. I'm still tired and throat hurts. Jay gave you SARS. Yes. Or whatever it is that he had. Yeah. And he's over it, man. Of course. He's back. He's healthy. But you have got it. Yep. Jamie's got a touch. My wife. And I just try to stay in my room so I don't get anybody else sick. How are you doing, LLB? I've been feeling for the past five days that something's lying beneath, but I've been fighting it off. Something's amiss? Yes. All right. Me and Woods claim that L.O.B. is psychosomatic, which is where she hears something and she talks herself into it. Mikey said last week on email that Jay actually had SARS and L.O.B. was convinced that Jay, in fact, had SARS. I thought they were serious. It was.
Phenomenal. She goes, do you really have SARS? Because I just looked it up. It's really bad. No, she goes, she said, there's a 90% chance that it made me die laughing. She goes, there's a 90% chance that you're messing with me. Right. But that meant that there was a 10% chance he had SARS. Right. I know how easily it was contracted. Yes. And so, L.O.B., she could have come in here with a... surgical mask on. I would have. That's right. I think we should all wear them from now on. Why not? Why not? Between having kids, Jay having kids, forget it. You guys are already done there. Yeah, well, and then we have a live studio audience every day. So somebody could track in their SARS and it's over. Lots of germs. I guess we're super Elton John if we don't shake hands. I do fist bumps now because I don't want to get anybody sick. It's just as much hand touching though. Yeah, but it's the knuckles. It's the knuckles. That's so different than putting your whole hand in the fingers, L-O-B. Oh, gosh. I've been just saying to everybody, I don't know what's sick. I just pop, pop, pop. It's a good idea. Knuckle bump everybody. I wish there could be a word that we have that just universally means, it's nice to meet you. Well, the Asians, they nod. They nod. We should do that. Can we nod? Hey, I am completely down.
With adopting the Asian nod. When we see people with... Yeah. I like it. Hello. Hello. Hello. Can we do it? Please. This makes so much more sense. Yes. It's a lot more respectful, too, I think. My mom thinks that you get sick because it's cold out. That's a parent thing, you know? It's a problem deal. Yeah, they think you get sick because it's cold out. That's not why. You get sick because you... touch someone that's got germs, and then you rub your eyes or your nose, and then you get sick. I was French kissing Jay, so that's how I got it. That'll do it every single time. Real good. Every single time. I knew Luke, he was sick. Had a runny nose. My two-year-old twin boy, I knew he was sick, but I just, you can't keep me away from him. I kissed him right in the face. I just...
The guy thrills me. Could care less about me. Care less about me. Join the club. Oh, my gosh. Just incredible. Right out of the chute. I mean, the guy, he wasn't even in his studio. Yeah. And he walked in. He's been in that studio now for two and a half seconds. Yeah. And just whammy kablammy. Plenty of time to insult you. Oh, man. And boom goes the dynamite. Wow. It's that quick. All right, so Two and a Half Men was on last night, and this is a big episode because they killed off Charlie Sheen's character, who ironically is named Charlie. So here's his funeral. This is audio of his funeral. Oh, wait, sorry. This is the opening of the show. I'm Charlie's brother, Alan. I want to thank you all for coming. I know this is a very sad day for all of us.
Speak for yourself. Okay, I understand that some of you have mixed feelings. But I think we can all agree that Charlie lived life to its fullest and gave it everything he had. Gave me herpes. Chlamydia. Maginal warts. Oh, wow. Oh, man. Excuse me, this is my dead son we're talking about. I loved him and I'm devastated that he's gone, leaving me with nothing but my memories and my regrets and the listing for his beautiful beachfront Malibu getaway with three bedrooms and three and a half baths and a beautiful panoramic ocean view. Is anybody on the Mikey show a two and a half men person? No. Me either. But I do think I know this much. And two and a half men fans, you can call.
And I want to know what you thought, by the way, especially if you're a fan of the show. What did you think of the way that they handled it? Did you think it was funny? Did you like it? Whatever. But the deal is, is that Charlie's character is much like Charlie Sheen in real life, which is why he was so successful, I think, in the role. The only thing that was different that I know Charlie Sheen has said for sure is he hated those stupid shirts. The Tommy Bahama shirts. They would make him wear these Tommy Bahama bowling shirts, and that was his bit. And so he didn't like that. But he was sort of a rough around the edges. And correct me if I'm wrong. 5701949. Rough around the edges. Sort of a scammer. He was a womanizer. Womanizer, you know. A womanizer. Eternal bachelor. Yes, that's it. He is the eternal bachelor. Replaced, by the way, by Ashton Kutcher. What, what, what? I don't know. What people are out on him? Couldn't be farther apart, the two of them. Yeah. I'm guessing they did that on purpose. Yeah. His character is going to be named Walden. All right. Okay. Just giving you information here. John Stamos stopped by. Oh, Dharma and Greg, program that I've never seen in my life.
appearance, a cameo appearance last night on the show. And here is Charlie's death being described. How did they kill the character off? Charlie Harper was the love of my life and a wonderful, wonderful man. Toughest pig. Sure, our relationship had its ups and downs and the occasional restraining order. But at the end, we ran away together to Paris. where he asked me to marry him. I said yes. And the next few days were the happiest of my life. Nothing could spoil it. Not even when I came home from shopping and found him taking a shower with another woman. Because I loved him unconditionally. So you can imagine my horror when the very next day he slipped on the metro platform and fell in front of an oncoming train. Never cross a crazy woman. I just want you all to know that Charlie didn't suffer. His body just exploded like a balloon full of meat. That's funny. I'm hungry. Anyone else hungry? It's funny because I didn't expect it. And that's my type of humor. My type of humor is the stuff I didn't see coming. If I hear a line and it was at all something that I could have thought of.
I don't like it. And I'm not a fan of formula. And that's what sitcoms are to me. Sitcoms go, da-da-da-da-da-da, joke. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. Da-da-da-da-da, joke. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. But if I don't expect it, I love it. Anyway, so here is Walden being played by Ashton Kutcher as he is introduced to the show. Here's how he comes in. He's naked. He's naked. Can I use your phone? Sure. Yes. Are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine. I was just trying to drown myself. You're trying to commit suicide? Yeah. I had no idea that the water would be that cold. I might watch it, because so far, those are a couple lines I didn't see coming. It's humorous. The laugh track kills me. I don't like laugh track, but I don't know that it is. Is it a laugh track or is it an actual audience in there? Is it? You know, I don't know. Sounds like a laugh track. Yeah, it does. I suppose I could have worn a wetsuit, but who tries to commit suicide in a wetsuit, right? That phone right there? Oh, yeah, yeah. Thank you. Oh, you got a towel? Oh, sure. Isn't he real likable, Ashton Kutcher? Doesn't America like Ashton Kutcher? I thought that was the bit. He's supposed to have...
Boy like charm. He doesn't bother me. I mean, I don't have, he's not annoying to me. I read an article, Zach Galifianakis article. Yeah. And they were in a movie together. And he, Galifianakis said that Kutcher goes, man, you are funny. You made the Kutcher laugh. If you can make the Kutcher laugh, you must be funny. Yeah, that's bothering you. That got me. Yeah. That got me. And it bothered me to no end. Well, now that I know it. The Kutcher. The Kutcher. Yeah, I think I'm done. That didn't last long, did it? That was a short love affair. People have called me that. Didn't you introduce yourself to us as a kid? I didn't say hi, I'm the kid. I'll tell you what. I think that it's okay to be called the kid, but there's something about his name being a part of his nickname that really bothers me a lot. Like Izzy? If you called yourself, if you were like, hey, if you can get... The Jayster to laugh. I'd be like, oh, you. The Jayster. The Mikester. But if you refer to yourself as, you know, if you were like, hey, if you can get the Pervo to laugh. That's pretty good. That's not bad because I don't know where the origin is. And I'm like, hey, it's fine. It's not. It's not too bad. Anyway, that's all I'm going to subject you to because not one freaking person called in.
About two and a half men. It's too bad my mom's not listening. And my mom and dad who love that show. They love it. All right, let's talk about something that matters. Mariano Rivera broke our Legends record yesterday. Yeah, and you know, those two guys are going to be one and two forever. Nobody will ever break. We'll get close to those guys. Really? The active leader for saves, the active leader has 323. Active. Okay. Trevor Hoffman's at 601. Rivera's now at 602. Woodsy, how does that happen? Those two guys are the best that ever lived. Oh, wow. The best that ever walked the face of the earth as far as closers go. Is it also because they're a lot older? Yeah, Mo's 42. I think Trevor retired when he was 41. And, yeah, I mean, there's guys that are 21 now. They got 20 years. Maybe they'll get close, but I don't see it happening. I mean, the active guy is 323. Yeah. I was a little heartbroken that a Padre, you know, that his record fell. I know you're happy. I was happy. I'm a Yankee fan. But I also like Trevor Hoffman. And it was pretty cool to see yesterday. I've got some audio of the game call. Yeah, turn up just a little bit. A little low. 0-2. Two outs. Ninth inning. Yankees up 6-4. Rivera. Sex. And deals. Has the greatest close in history. Now has the most saves in history. With 6-0-2.
He moves ahead of Trevor Hoffman. And he stands alone atop the Closer Mountain. Who's that talking, Woods? Michael Kay. Michael Kay, of course, you can, I think. Boy, he had that prepared. He was ready to go. He was ready. He knew that that audio would be played forever. Yes. And so it had to be. Can you imagine if he had pulled a J during the middle? Can you imagine how bad it would have been for that poor guy? There he is. Her Mariano Rivera. Yes. Oh, no. I was just looking at Jay to see what kind of mood he was in before I made this joke. Nobody else flubs any words. Oh, fine. Hey. Hey, you know, Jay, you know, the truth is, is that everybody will flub some words from time to time. It's endearing. It's an innate dad quality. That is true. It ain't just you, pal.
It's all dads. Yep. I'll do it. In fact, I do it. I do do it. It's not as funny when... I don't do it as much as you do it. You do it as much as my dad. I don't hear it. I don't know what you're talking about. Well, we can probably play some if we want to. Yeah, I have a couple examples. Jay, do I have a whole area that's just... You sure do. We used to. You go left. All right. And we have like a whole area that is all... We could have a whole show, actually. I mean... If we wanted to. It's all Jay. Let's see. Where is it? I'm sure Jay makes it as easy for me to find. I put it on page 97, Mike. Oh my gosh, Jay. I just found it. It is dead in the middle. That is brilliant, by the way. Yeah. Because he knows me. He knows me. Uh-huh. He knows how I am. Yeah. He knows that I don't... I'm very...
I do the same exact things. What is that? Very OCD. Very OCD. Repetitive routine. Crazy. And he knows that I get into such a routine that I will not stray far from my little area. You want the bookends. You want the beginning and the end. And so he put it right in the middle. There's blank pages on both sides of this guy. What a clown. Helicopter. Helicopter. Show me. Montana. What about the general population? Hopefully she gets put in the general populace, whatever it's called. General populace. What about Don Knotts? 70s Tim Conway Don Knotts flick. What about the word irrelevant? Whatever you think you know about this man is irreverent. Is it? What about discharged? We're looking to get a skateboard. I just don't want to get discharged too much money for it. Take it out of context. Take it out of context. Doesn't it say that thou shalt not kill? Mikey, doesn't it say that thou shalt not kill? Doesn't it say that thou shalt not kill? In football, what is it when...
The running back will toss the ball back to the quarterback so that the quarterback can make a long pass. A flea flicker. Sorry. Who's the cute little blonde that sings Dear John? It's not like it's Taylor Swift. The Nintendo one. Where is it? Did you... You isolated that yesterday, right, L.O.B.? Yeah, we already had other ones on there, but I haven't sent him the new ones. That S.O.B., dude, I'm telling you, I could listen all day long. But when he said it sounded like he had a tin So I can't wait for Jay to flub again Jay has flub again Like a stoned and drained gypsy in the driveway He insults his friends Making them sound bad is just like freaking child's play But we say, Jay has flub again Just that night should drain his pole again His pole!
He just told Woods to buy a Happy Miller brand. I can't wait for Jay to flub again. I guess it's a reverend. Yes, I can't wait for Jay to flub again. 70s. Tim Conway. Thank you very much. I guess it's a reverend. What sport does Tiger Woods play, Jay? Golf. Not bad. Not bad. Not bad. Not bad at all. That was a lot of effort. Now, I will say this. The toughest one for Jay, by far, is the game console Nintendo. Oh, now you've said it. It's his kryptonite. It's his kryptonite. He sees that word in squints. Locks his jaw and shakes his head. Like, how dare you? Nintendo. Nintendo. Nintendo. Nintendo. Nintendo. Nintendo. All you got to do to mess him up is suggest Nintendo. Yeah. Just suggest it and he's done. Or Newtendo. Newtendo. Stop. He's like, don't. The new Madden on Nintendo. That's right. Nintendo. Or Nintendo. At 8 o'clock, we will... Hey, listen.
If you think that we're giving Jay a hard time, don't worry. He gets us plenty. He got L.O.B. this month. Oh, yes, you do. Oh, yes, you do, pal. 8 o'clock, Jay got L.O.B. real good. He gets me every day. In fact, if we were to keep a scoreboard, which we don't. Thank goodness. Jay 40, us three. Yes. I agree. If we were throwing flags like a referee, it would be littered. That's right. With yellow flags all over the studio. I don't know. The Facebook always says that you guys are mean to me. Does it? Always. What's always? Doesn't the Facebook page nominate you for president? Yes. Don't they call you a ray of sunshine in their life? Yes. That's why they always wonder why you're mean to me. How about this? Netflix. L.O.B. brought this to my attention. This is a news story today that I really want L.O.B. to explain to me. First of all, she sends me an apology that she got from their CEO. And tell everybody, L.O.B., what he was apologizing for. He was apologizing for his lack of explanation of what he did back in July. Which was? Which was he...
Did a 60% price increase. And he separated. You used to, for $10 a month, you'd get a DVD one at a time, plus unlimited instant streaming. So he changed it to, it's $7.99 for just the DVD, $7.99 for the streaming. So it went from $10 to $16. So a 60% increase. And all they did was send an email. They gave you no explanation. They just said, here's the changes. Feast. Feast on it. Pretty much. Now, dude, 60%? 60%. Happy birthday, Netflix. And he admittedly so got kind of arrogant and greedy. And it was just, it's being touted as one of the stupidest strategical moves. Yes. Business-wise. And they're kind of calling Netflix like the next. AOL in becoming obsolete in that industry because in April, they had more subscribers than the largest cable company provider, which is Comcast. So they're on top of the world. After July, their stock went down 53% from its highest value. So they lost like $8 billion for their stockholders.
Okay, so I want to dive into this because wait till you hear the news today is this apology, which L.O.B. sends to me, and I read it, and I'm like, he sounds like a Princeton D-head. You know, trying to be cool and trying to, but anyway, I want you to hear it. We got so much cool stuff on the show today, man. Really, really a great show. And yesterday... I got so caught up in telling you about how I had mistakenly thought that one of our listeners was a transgender who was marrying a woman that I thought was a guy, which was insulting. And then I asked the guy if he was gay. And it's because I thought he was a friend of mine from years ago who was a transgender. He wasn't.
And he wasn't the same person. So he was confused as to why I was saying, hey, you know, did you never get the surgery? And anyway, I'll tell you what we missed. A part of the Mikey Show now. There's no such thing, really. really gross you know there's there's sexy but but then that wouldn't be you know the the sister you know and then there's a sister but then you wouldn't have the the sexy part you know you wouldn't really put the two sister with benefits oh yeah that that that that one you definitely just threw up in my mouth yeah well who didn't for jay uh you know different time no bloodline there's no bloodline it's from a different time
He's eating. He's unwrapping something. He was in there eating a giant cinnamon roll. Weird. I think we'd catch grief if you and I were eating a giant cinnamon roll. Are you kidding me? You can't do that and go lay on the couch. Well, right. I mean, I can do it because I exercise. Well, I move. I move my body. I actually get up. Yeah. I actually, you know, walk from the elevator. into the studio, unlike you two that take your little scooters. I don't crawl everywhere. I don't need a crew to lift me up off of things. That's right. I ain't about to set a Guinness Book of World Records for sitting in the house fat. Fattest radio combo ever. That's right. Biggest butt mark on the cow. I could be buried in a piano case, but what are you going to do? The Netflix thing. First of all, I'm shocked that Netflix is still a business. It used to be really cool, okay? The idea, you keep the movie as long as you want. You go online, you choose the movies that you want to rent, and we'll send them to you. And you can keep them as long as you want. And then when you're done, you just put them back in this cute little red envelope, throw it in the mail. Postage paid. You're good to go. All right? Well, now...
people don't do that as much. And the reason that they don't do it as much is because there's other ways to watch movies. Well, that's what my thing was. Yeah, that's why the combo was the best part because you got the on-demand aspect of it, but you got more variety than what was available on demand. You could watch it all. You could stream it through your TV, watch it all on TV. But it was a nice little treat to get that red envelope in the mail because you usually... You know, you have a whole queue set up of stuff that you've set up for like weeks, months, you know, however long. And so it used to be nice to get that little red envelope because I'd be like, ooh. It'd be a surprise. Yeah. And you weren't exactly sure what you ordered or, you know, it came really quick. It was basically like a day, maybe two. Oh, wow. That it would get to you. That's nothing. Yeah. So you would get that and then you'd be like, oh, I guess I'm making it a movie night. Right. And it became this like little treat for yourself, you know. Yeah. And then when they separated the two. and made it, you know, well, if you wanted to have both, like I said, the 60% increase to have both. Now, Ella B., how do you stream? How do you stream? I do it through my TV, and then I have an HDMI cable that goes from the laptop to the flat screen. Okay. But if you've got a gaming system, you can do it right through your TV. The Wii. Yeah. Xbox. Super easy. I wonder if it's all of them.
Yeah, pretty much all of them. PlayStation, Wii, Xbox. The quality wasn't that great on the Wii, though. Like, we would do it, and I was like, eh. I'd rather just get it on demand. This is probably your connection. Well, and my question, too, is I wonder if they offer both standard and high def, and if you ordered a standard def movie. Yeah, probably. Yeah, because I won't even rent them. I know. I know that sounds so lame, but Rebecca doesn't care. For me, it's the difference between putting glasses on and not putting glasses on. Why would you choose no glasses? I don't get that. Why would you choose not to see something better? Right. I don't know. But anyway, okay, so you hook your laptop up and then you can watch it that way. Well, this is what I don't understand. I don't understand why if you have the capability, which all that means is you got a laptop. Why wouldn't you do that instead of or is it really L.O.B.? Is it about the joy of opening that envelope that people really dig? They also had a better selection in physical DVDs than they did of the instance. Yeah, all the new releases would be on the DVDs. They're changing the name of the DVD by mail company. Now there are two companies. The streaming is called Netflix. The one that you get in the mail now is going to be called.
Quick flicks? Quick stir. Quick stir. Which makes no sense. There's no flicks in the title. That's weird. Quick stir. They've lost their mind over there, I think. They... I mean, people are just because this CEO was kind of one of those up and comers and, you know, in Silicon Valley and everything. And he was really like innovative for what he had done with Netflix, you know, five years ago. And now they're like this guy is one major strategic mistake after the next. Well, his name is Reed Hastings and he writes, you know, he sends out these emails to people. And that's how L.O.B. got the price increase email back in July. Sixty percent. And she's like. Are you freaking kidding me? Right. Now, another question about Netflix. Is it a deal where you have to pay this certain amount every month regardless of whatever? Yes. It's unlimited for the monthly thing, and it's on an automatic withdrawal, and I think you have to cancel within 30 days to cancel your subscription. Here's what I wish. I wish that it was just I pay when I get a movie because sometimes I won't. Yeah.
Sometimes I'm not going to get a movie, and I don't want a monthly thing if I'm not going to get monthly movies, but I do like the convenience. Sure. I do like that, but I just want to pay $3.99 for my stupid movie, and I'm not going to get another one for a couple of months. Right. With this thing, it's a subscription. Imagine if you're the type of person that likes wine. They've got these Wine of the Month clubs, but... What if you just wanted a bottle of wine every couple of months and there's an easy way that you could get a nice bottle? You don't want to have to be tied to three freaking bottles of wine a month. I don't want them. What if I don't want them? Well, it's perfect for somebody like me that doesn't want to pay for cable because they've got all kinds of TV series and stuff like that that you can get caught up on. How many do you have to get a month? How many what? Movies slash TV show? $10 is the minimum that you start at. Now it's changing to $7.99. You can get whatever you want. Yeah, as many as you want. It's one in, one out for the physical DVDs. Yeah. But then they changed it to the $16 if you wanted that. And then the streaming was, you could feast for 24 hours. You could watch as much as you wanted. Well, so now it's $192 a year. $192 a year.
And I might get six movies. So that's why it don't make sense for me. Not at all. I think they figured, what they figured was it's going up against the cost of, I mean, they already put Blockbuster out of business, which was, you know, four or five dollars to rent it. But, like, Woods told me it's five dollars to do on demand. Yeah, it's like $3.99 to probably $6.99. And see, this is my other question about why Netflix is still a company. There's so many other ways to get movies now. It was their aggressive pricing, though. That's what was doing it. It's much cheaper than iTunes as well. Yeah. Because DVDs are going to become as obsolete as VHS very soon. Yeah. We're going to watch things through streaming or through any sort of on-demand, just like we use MP3s versus, you know, CDs. And that's how we're going to own it, too. Just a giant library. The cool thing about it was there was a queue. You weren't just getting a bottle of wine that you were surprised about. You had your... queue of movies that you could that you had selected so you always had these good movies coming it wasn't just like a surprise movie came so that was a cool part you knew exactly what was coming it was up to you it was your choice it wasn't just whatever the company was letting you view that month yeah i guess the problem is is that no one well i know this for a fact i i i tried netflix once and about two years later i found a movie in between a couple of and i was like oh great oh boy
And I never sent this back. That's the type of person I am. And so you have to be very responsible, it sounds like. My deal was I would put movies in the queue that sounded really good at that time. I'd go to the mailbox, I'd open it, and I'd go, yes, cool. And I'd open it, and I'd be like, it's Young Frankenstein. I've seen this movie a thousand times at the mailbox. I would take it. put it in the sendback thing and put it right back in the mail. It never took more than a day or two. It's all prepaid. It's as easy as it possibly can be to take it out and put it back in. I think this is going to be the opportunity for Amazon to sweep in. Amazon, they're saying now, is starting a new deal. I've already started using Amazon. Their selection is crap right now. They're smart. That's the deal. It isn't going to take long because Right now, Amazon sells more freaking movies and more books than you can imagine. Yep. I mean, that's what they do. So all it's going to do is it's going to be the time that it takes to put those movies in there. Now, wait, one more question. I got one more question about this whole business and Netflix. When you have it, you send them back whenever you want, right? Yes. If you lose one, what do they do?
How do they know you lose one if you're not, you don't have to send it back? Well, they just, like, you could, I don't know what the penalty is for losing one disc. I think it's the cost of a movie. Yeah. But you'll just continue to, like, you could hold on to that for as long as you want and get charged the $9.99 a month if you wanted to. And here's my other question, because that makes sense. But here's my other question. It seems like nowadays, if you've got cable or if you have satellite. Yep. You got movies. 100%. Yeah, On Demand. On Demand is the best. I don't understand. Netflix. And you're saying it was a price thing. It was definitely. They were better at charging you a good price than... Your cable company or the satellite. Exactly. And the way that they made it come directly through your TV, through the use of your gaming system, which they figure most people have. Plus, they were trying to say that they got the movies out quicker than On Demand, but that's not true. Really? Mm-mm. On Demand is the grade. I use it every day. See, I don't have cables. All right. Real quick. So here's what dude said. Here was his apology email. I messed up.
I owe everyone an explanation. It's clear from the feedback over the past two months that many members felt we lacked respect and humility in the way we announced the separation of DVD and streaming and the price changes. That was certainly not our intent, and I offer my sincere apology. And what most people by and large said was, it doesn't sound sincere. I read it. I thought it sounded like a Yale, you know, guy trying to sound cool. Right. Anyway, 20,000 negative comments. Holy cow. 20,000 negative comments. They've now made it, too. If you want both services, they're still going to charge you the 60% increase over what you had in June. But now you have to have two separate accounts. You have to go to two separate websites. to get them. What a beating. Quickster will appear on your bill as one thing and you have to go there. Yeah. I mean, I just don't get it. Oh, they're killing you, man. They're killing you. That company will probably go out of business. I'm on Kyle from San Diego. Hi. Hi. How's it going? Good. Good. So I switched over from Netflix to Hulu. Hulu Plus. You can stream it through your Xbox or your gaming system. Why'd you choose that one? It's like seven bucks a month and you get to watch.
Like every single episode of Family Guy. But what about movies? Are there movies on there? Yeah. Oh, rad. I got to get on this stuff. Well, you got Apple TV. And there's good stuff on there? There's good stuff on there. And it's high def? High def. You're good. You're set. You got On Demand and Apple. You don't need any Hulu or Netflix. The thing is, Rebecca and I, we like to have our little date nights where we'll watch a documentary. Right. Maybe that makes sense for us. Maybe. Pretty romantic. Because it is expensive. What? Sorry. That's what I do, too. Pretty romantic. What do you do? I make love. We go out. We film it. We have dinner. We do that. Go for a walk on the beach. Oh, boy. Hold hands. Don't judge, Kay. Make love on the beach, Mike. Don't judge. On a cliff. Walk on the beach, Mike. That would require walking. You ever run and make love at the same time? We do that. Yeah, we do that. Play Police Dog. That's right. Play Sleeping Giant. Finnegan asked me about Police Dog in front of the in-laws. Oh, boy. Finnegan is your 19-year-old? My 19-year-old. And Police Dog is a game that he plays with his wife. No. Where he...
Pretends to be a nude police dog. And she can't move. Or he'll attack. Attack. How did he ask? What did he say? We were all out by the skateboard ramp, and the in-laws are sitting there watching their skating. No, they're not skating, but they're watching Fin Skate. And he goes, hey, Dad, somebody told me that you guys were playing police dog. And I'm like, oh, my God. Don't know what you're talking about. Don't, don't, don't, don't. Oh, my God. Somebody told me that you and Mom? Yes. Like, who says that? Who walks up to my 19-year-old son? I know it. I know that. I've said that too. We'll say embarrassing things on the air. And then people will come up to Rebecca and go, oh, so I guess Mike nude laptops, huh? Yeah. And she'll be like, yeah. Yep. Sure does. Awkward. It's my life. It's so awkward. Sure does. Very awkward. Very awkward. We do say these things, I understand. But it's just a strange. A greeting. Maybe you let it lie. Yeah. After you hear it, you just let it lie. You just listen to it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You consume it. Just eat it. And eat it, and then you just let it go. No need to vomit it on everyone. You've eaten it. Thank you. You've already eaten it. No need to make our loved ones into the baby bird. Yes. Agreed. Just enjoy it. Just enjoy it. Digest it. Digest it, savor it, and all of that. 570-1949 is our number.
I forgot to tell you that I did this. Rebecca and I went to the Reuben H. Fleet Museum with the kids. Our twins and Jake. And so we go and we're leaving. And this happens. This is very easy to happen. I'm opening the car door to put Luke in his car seat. And I hit the car next to me. Okay? I don't understand why the corner of the car door needs to be basically a dagger. Razor blade. Why can't that be made of rubber or... Rounded, maybe. Rounded. Rounded with something at the end of it. Bumpered. Bumpered. Why would they make it sharp and pointy? Right. And so, you know what it's like? It's almost shaped exactly like a can opener.
Yes. And so it did a good job of can opener to the car next to me. And so I looked at it and I'm thinking in my head, what do I do? Do I leave a note? No. Immediately. Gotta leave a note. No, you don't. You have to leave a note. Not for door dings. If you bump their car, you gotta leave a note. If you door ding their car, you don't. You caused damage. Oh, boy. And so I put... I put Luke in his car seat and peripherally see a woman and her child waiting. Oh, yeah. Witness. Is there a car? It's their car. Oh, God. Witness to the crime. Well, they didn't witness the crime. They just walked up. They just walked up. And so I turned around and I saw her and I said, hey, listen, I don't know if this was here or if I did it. And she goes, that wasn't there. And I said, all right. And so got Lukey, you know, did his thing. And I gave her a business card. And I said, have it fixed and write me and I'll send you the money. And Rebecca goes, did you get her? And I lean in and she goes, okay. And I lean into the car and Rebecca goes, did you get her insurance? And I turn around and I go, can I, do you want our insurance?
Because I don't know how to do life. I don't know how to operate life. Unless my wife is there to tell me what to do. If you were there by yourself, you would have just written her a blank check. Of course. She would have been like, okay, no problem. If I'd have been at a grocery store, I'd have taken a piece of cabbage and I'd have tried to have written my name on the cabbage with my fingernail. Unless Rebecca is there to go, I have a better idea, babe. Why don't you give her your insurance card? That's what it's for. Yeah. That's what it's for. And so she said, don't even worry about it. I'm not going to go have that fixed. And I said, really? And she goes, yeah. And I go, well, thanks. And I said, hey, I do a radio show. If you want to come into the studio, you can come into the studio and come and hang out. She goes, okay. She was really nice. But I put a ding on that car. Got a good one. Rebecca says, I do that three times a month. You do? No, she does. Oh, she does. It was her car. She goes, I do that at least three times a month. Yeah, she's got three kids. She's trying to get out, herd out of the car. And the door, freaking, you touch it and it bangs into the other door. You've got to part farther away. And she said that that's what people usually say. She said she gives every time. Insurance, blah, blah, blah. And she waits. A lot of times people show up. She goes, yeah, they go, nah, it's all right. Yeah, don't wait. It's easier cash out of pocket.
Because your deductible is not going to be over $250 to repair that. Such a cash. Maybe we just all agree that dings happen. I like my car. Dings happen. Let's not be litigious. Don't sweat the small dings. I like my car nice. You can pee on my car. I don't care. I know. It looks like that, too. Doesn't it? You want to play buzzword? Absolutely. I would like to get out of that mess that we were just in. Let's put it in reverse. Buzzword. 570-1949. Here's how the game works. You're going to pick me, Woods, or L.O.B. to represent you. And then Jay's going to give us a word. And then he's going to give us a clue to the word. And we've got to guess what the phrase is or whatever. We'll probably win because men are smarter than women, you know? He says that to get into L.O.B.'s head. I didn't hear. Yeah, she didn't hear it. She wasn't paying attention. She didn't hear it. She wasn't paying attention.
Should have had you iron my shorts this morning. Oh, yeah. Oh, well. Because we don't live together, so that would make sense. Good one, Gallagher. Should have had my wife do it then. Oh, man. After she got done with the dishes. That got in her head. You might have got her. I got her. M1 Austin from Encinitas. Who do you want? L.O.B. Hang on the line. He still trusts the L.O.B. Yes, he does. M1 Oceanside from Oceanside. Who do you want? Woods. You got it. Hang on. And M1 Sticky Fingers from San Diego, you've got me. Hang on the line, okay? What's the word, Jay? Today's word... Word! ...is California. Oh. Ooh. Wow. All right, so California will be in the clue. Spell it. Here we go. All right, all right. The eerie end in the Eagles song. Hotel California! I have a two-way tie over here, Woods and Mikey. I thought you said end. I was like, what? The little claymation character. California Raisins. Dang it. Dang it. Lauren. Wow. Dang it. Dang it. No idea. That was pretty amazing. Custom bedroom storage system. California King. California King. Custom bedroom storage system. California Closets. There you go. I've never heard of it. I've never heard of it. What is that? Because only women know stuff like that. Probably. About closets and stuff like that. What is it, L.O.B.? It's a company. It's a company. Oh. Yeah.
I wish they all could be. I'm going to give a two-way tie to Lauren and Woods. What did I say? I was like. You just keep screaming California. Yeah. I wish they could all be from California. I'm just repeating what you just said. Birds. California condor. Yeah. What? Did you say it too? Okay, Mikey said it first then. Oh boy. I didn't get out the word condor. But I didn't. He said California again. Then Woods gets it. I just can't hear over Woods. Woods likes to scream full bore. There you go. There you go, Wizzy. Whoa. 1849 spawned this. California. Mikey. What the hell? He's not even finishing it. I know. He's not even finishing it. I knew what it was, but she got it out. I got it out.
Mikey starts it, but he finishes it very slowly. I would have tried to... California. California! A Mexican. Mikey! California Mikey! Peninsula. California, Baja, California! There you go, Woods. Darn it. California Mikey. Major League Baseball Team. California Angels! There you go. What is it? What the hell? What is it? It's not even California Angels anymore. I said it before you, but I didn't say... I said it before you, but I didn't say the word California. Oh, my God. So does that mean I don't get it? Let's go two-way tie. It says California Angels. I'm not even a team anymore. Here we go. Sushi Delight. California Roll! It's a two-way tie over here. Once again. She's missing points. What? Left and right over here. No, I'm not. You keep score then next time. Yeah. Punch and Josh. California Highway Patrol. There you go. Mikey, you got it. It's California Highway Patrol.
Okay, new word. Train. Train wreck, what? Go for the expressway. What is a train wreck? Oh, wait. Oh, the word is train. What is a freaking train wreck? Train wreck. They help you learn to ride a bike. Training wheels. Lauren. They teach a toddler how to use a toilet. Training potty. Potty train. Training pants. Potty train. What's a toddler? A toddler. What is training pants? Song by the Monkees. The last train in Clarksville. Wow. There you go. Wow. Look at the shoe. We're all, wait. Mikey five, Lauren five, Woods six. Okay, last one. Oh, gosh. Three points. Oh, gosh. Three pointer. Oh, God. Train? Still train. I'm trying to find one that actually you'll know. Linear chain of ideas. Train of thought. Son of a bitch. Damn it. Dang it. Lauren? It's a big wiener.
Gosh darn it. M1, Austin from Encinitas. L-O-B won for you. Yeah. Cross. Hang on the line. Next time we play Buzzword, you've got to videotape. Yes. People need to see. They need to see. Yes. I thought I was going to pop the exercise ball on the surface. Dancing with the Stars aired last night. Chaz Bono danced. What? Nancy Grace danced. Easy, Sinbad. We will. It's a Nancy Grace. TV's Nancy Grace. And we're also going to play Why Are We Here? It's coming up. Pop it in. Call now. Be a part of the Mikey Show now. Call 570-1949. Or text 949-MIKEY. It's the Mikey Show. More coming up on FM 94.9. Mom.
I want to be a pilot. Is it tough? It's not easy. You could do it. Study hard, go to a good school, never skip your math homework. Piece of cake. Oh, yeah? But can you finish those carrots for your pilot's vision? I'd rather do my math homework. Thought so. than the number two. They're America's biggest company, Apple. Number two is Exxon. And still, Apple's $23 billion. They're worth $23 billion more. They're getting close, by the way. They're very close to the combined value of Microsoft and Google combined. Holy cow. Yeah, they're worth a lot. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? First, I'm going to give you the update on Monday Night Football from last night. But I wanted to tell you that sports is brought to us today by Frank's Red Hot. Frank's Red Hot. Oh, yeah. So last night was one of the more boring Monday Night Football matchups I can remember. It was the New York Giants against the St. Louis Rams. And it just wasn't very exciting. 28-16 was the final. The Giants did beat the Rams. Eli threw for two touchdowns. I'm telling you, watching that guy is like watching paint dry. Watching him at the quarterback position last night. I made it about 15 minutes, and then I watched a movie. So that'll be enough of that. The Giants won, though, right? The Giants did win, 28-16. Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley has confirmed that their running back, Jamal Charles, will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury. So that sucks for him, but division rival, good for the Chargers, who they play this week.
Mikey-thon, October 6th and 7th. 28 straight hours of broadcasting. I mean 28 straight. Pretty amazing. You know, we love it. It takes a lot out of us, but it's fun. And, you know, listeners get to come down, hang out. It's pretty awesome. 8 o'clock, about 50 minutes away. Make sure you're tuned in. to hear audio of Jay creeping on L.O.B. in the bathroom this morning. I don't think it was creepy. Well, it's not what you think. Yeah, I mean, in and of itself, I think it's a little creepy that you were taping her. If it makes you uncomfortable, we don't have to play it. No, no. I absolutely have to play it. My arm was the only thing in the bathroom. Last night, this was... Chaz Bono introducing himself on Dancing with the Stars. Chaz Bono, I'm the first transgender contestant on Dancing with the Stars. Well, you got to point it out. You know, listen, here's the thing. You tell me, you know, you don't want to be discriminated against, but don't point it out all the time. Today is the end of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, by the way, for troops. And here's what's so strange about it.
It's officially going to end 18 years of don't ask, don't tell, which means that troops that identify themselves as gay or lesbian are not going to face automatic discharge. To which I say, cool, fine. But what is so strange to me is that it's troops that don't identify themselves as gay or lesbian. Well, what are you identifying what you're into anyway? I think he's winning the support of them because isn't this a voting show? It's a voting show. I think that's what he's doing. He's like, well, I guess if I can't fight him, I might as well embrace it. Well, I think they all know. And that's the deal. You know, that's the deal. But with the don't ask, don't tell, which ends today, what are you doing anyway? Are you like, hey, by the way, I just want everybody to know I'm super glad I can wear this T-shirt that says I'm gay because I couldn't wear it yesterday. Now I can't. Who cares what you do sexually? That's your business. I don't care. Well, maybe they're not talking about it sexually. They're talking about, hey, you know, I can't wait to get home to see my boyfriend. And they couldn't say that before. They couldn't say it before. They had a fake like they had a girlfriend or something. So now it's like. Well, they're proud of who they are. I got you. They should be able to say whatever they want. Now that you. Okay. That. Yeah. Because what I was wondering before was.
Well, how are you identifying it? Are you wearing a T-shirt? Are you wearing a... Well, they're just saying they really miss... Because before, they couldn't say anything, or like you said, they'd be discharged. So now, they can if they want to. They were hiding it. They had to hide it. And a lot of soldiers on deployment are actually encouraged to have somebody, like, there, back there, like, kind of waiting for them. You know what I mean? Like a significant other. Right. Because it helps, you know, psychologically to feel like, okay, there's... I have something worth fighting for. Got something to live for. Yeah, got it. And they had to hide that. All right, that makes sense. That makes sense. Which means that I was born in a female body, but have trans... I think we all know. That bothers me. Again, back to my point last week of like, what's the deal? Yeah. I thought you didn't want the attention. You just want to dance. Do you? Maybe if the producer's making you. But, Woodsy, don't you see L.O.B.'s point? Like, it's about voting, man. It's about points. Whose votes? The transgender community? Yeah. I think he's got them. Well, the LGBT. I think he had them before. But if they think that he was trying to, maybe he was getting heat from them. Like, why are you not proud of him? Why are you shying away from him? Yeah. How come you don't want to talk about your transgendered? Because all I heard from the guy was, hey, listen, I'm not going to be pigeonholed into just being a transgendered guy on Dancing with the Stars. I want to dance and win. I'm in a competition. I bet his publicist was like.
You just got to embrace it. Okay, Chaz? Embrace it. Frankly, I'm sick of talking about it. Do you want to win or do you want to be sitting around at home sick of talking about it? I do want to win. All right. Embrace it. Gosh darn. You're just beating me up all the time with this stuff. I'm sick of it. I'm just getting really sick of it. Man up. I think people have been waiting all night to see you, Chaz. And you do not. Chazzy boy, you can dance. You have great footwork. It was sharp. It was precise. You've got so much joy. What's precise? Light up this room. I can't wait. I want to see Mo and Mo and Mo dancing. Who's that beating? Raza Mateusz Chaz. You really came out with the right attitude. You came out to enjoy it. Benny Hill? It's Benny Hill.
Shut up. And that's what I felt you did. You know, someone's going home. If it's going to be me, I'm going to go down fighting. And that's what you did. Right on time. Good footwork and great attitude. Well done. All right. And Bruno. Zicky, but so cute and cuddly. I had no idea you were so cuddly and cute. And your timing is so lovely. It's so joyous out here. Great, great debut. You should be proud. All right. Really sad. So sad. Nancy Grace was dancing last night. Nancy Grace got mixed reviews. Really? Yes. What would you have thought? I would have thought she would be out there shredding. You're just shredding it up. Very surprised that it was mixed. Me too. Let's see. I believe that we have Nancy on the phone. As you know, Nancy Grace.
We'll call in to the Mikey Show every once in a while, and I believe that we have Nancy on the line with us. Let's see. Nancy? Hi, this is Nancy Grace TV's Nancy Grace. Yes, you always say that. We know that you're on television, and not necessarily. You got mixed reviews last night, Nancy. That's right. That's true, Mike. I did get mixed reviews, but I ask you, aren't you in fact mixed? What does that mean? You are part Mexican-American and half parts unknown? No, that is not true. I'm actually 100% Mexican-American. I'm not parts unknown. I'm not the other half. Well, there is no other half. Aren't you in fact part Sasquatch, Mike? No, I'm not. I'm not part Sasquatch. Are you or are you now a Squatch? I am not a Squatch. A Squatch. You couldn't be further from Sasquatch. I am not a Squatch, as it turns out. I don't want to argue. I don't. I'm not either of those things. I'm not either of those things. Did you or did you not accuse a man yesterday of being a transgender person and then ask if his fiance was once a man and if he was now gay? Yes, I actually did do that, but it was because I thought I knew the guy and I didn't. I didn't.
No further questions here. Okay. Well, I guess that makes sense. I guess that's a case closed. By the way, Mike, Chaz said to say hello, and he misses you at all the meetings. Get off of the phone. I'm not quite sure. Maybe you can elaborate. Get out of here. I don't know Chaz Bono, and I don't know what meetings, I don't even know what that means. I don't know. LBGT. Really? I'm not. I saw some of the in-studio pics. It looks like you and Chaz are. Quiet, Jimmy. Really? That's not Chaz Bono. That's me. That's Woods. Yes. That isn't Chaz. And you know that. My mistake. Honest mistake. Right, Mike? Not honest mistake. It's not. You knew it wasn't. Honest mistake. Couldn't be further from the truth. Yes. So close to the truth. I only want to mix up a straight man and a transgender, am I? Woods is not. No. Woods is not. He doesn't look like. Doesn't he? No. He doesn't. He doesn't. He's not a straight man. Is that what you're saying? He is a straight man. Very straight man. He is a straight man.
He is a straight. I am a straight. He's a straight. I'm not Nancy Grace. I didn't call you, Nancy. You called here. Details. TV's Nancy Grace. Once again, delights. TV's Nancy Grace. Dancing with the stars. Nancy Grace. I think she had you confused with a chupacabra. Yes, Jay. She must have had me confused. With a chupacabra. Right. That must have been what she meant. Yes. I see. Jay said in his recap that he's really into this show, Game of Thrones. Oh, my gosh. HBO? Yes. This is a nude show? There's a lot of nudity in it. Yeah, he thought it would be a good show to watch with his son, Jasper. For the first... For the first... Pervert. Five to ten seconds of the show. I was like, oh, wow, we can watch this together. Probably five minutes. And then it came to the second. I mean, it was not even necessary. The sex scene was not even necessary. It was over the top. I was sitting there with my father-in-law. I was like, oh. Oh, my God. You were watching it with your father-in-law? Yeah, it looks like kings and queens and holy mackerel. There's more than that. They get down. Check that out. Yeah. I've gone through all 12 episodes now.
Look what Jay said at the very top there. These are at the top what he thinks that Game of Thrones... I can rename it. ...could be called. Let me read these. You ready? These are Jay's idea for renaming the show Game of Thrones. Knights of the Pounding Table. Down in the dungeon. The King's Scepter. Once a knight. With a K. Once a knight. It's not enough. You missed one. Once. A night. A night with a K. It's not enough. It's not enough. You missed Realm Job. Maybe he didn't. I didn't miss it. I realized later that I was just only supposed to be the highlighted one. How about this one, Mike? Sir Lance a lot. He does. Trust me. Something else already has that name. What a creepy smile. There's a really good one at the end. You missed it too. Sure there was.
Oh, it got edited. Those are available on your blog, I'm sure, for anyone who wants to know. Get me out. Get me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. He is something else. Exclamation point. Where'd you come up with that, Jim? Knights of the Pounding Table. Can you imagine him in his office giggling? I'll get him. I'll get him. Wood says in his recap that he slayed some Tylenol cold burst when he got home. Oh, that's the best. And he slept for three hours. Oh. Woke up and watched a nice light movie, Mystic River. I want to blow my head off after. It's all gray outside. I was sick. Sitting there watching Mystic River high on Tylenol. Yeah. And then ate some taco soup.
took more Tylenol and fell asleep. That was it. You're very literal with your recap. I am very literal. You know that. Then he woke up and heard Jamie freaking out because, quote, someone, quote, someone. Something. Had vomited on our bed. Someone had vomited on. Was it your brother-in-law? No. Was it his girlfriend? Nope. Well, who could it have been? It was one of my dogs. Well, you said someone. It's one of my dogs. You said someone. Your dogs aren't. person, though. Aren't they? No. Well, no. They're doggies. They're kind of like people. I wouldn't have put something, either, because that... What would you have put? One of my dogs? Well, yeah, because, I mean, to denigrate them to something is not nice. That's not nice. Someone was good. Someone. Someone? Someone, yeah. Because if I walk in, I'll say, which one of you peed on the floor? I mean, obviously, they can't answer. Right. They all cower. But that's what I say. Someone.
Yesterday, if you were on our Facebook page, you know that Woods and I had a spirited debate about forgiveness that continued. I could tell by the look on his face as soon as I walked in this morning, it was still on his mind. No, I was over it. Were you? Yeah, I was just working. Just trying to get focused. You seemed very... You didn't seem like my normal buddy was... I was busy. Busy this morning. Yeah. But yesterday we debated, and I had changed our Facebook profile photo to clasped hands and the word forgiveness. Yes, I must have missed it. You did. Because by the time I saw Woods' post, I had no idea what he was talking about. Well, Woods had changed his profile photograph to his wife cuddling their five dogs. Wow. You guys are very passive aggressive. Yes. We were sending each other. Mike was sending me verses. I was sending him pictures of dead pit bulls. Yes. Yes. So we were going back and forth. He goes, I guess we're just sending stuff. Are we just sending stuff now? My God. Wow. We're very passionate about what we believe in. We're very passionate. I always will be. Yes. You would like to share the message of dead dogs. Yes. Well, with Mike, who thinks dogs are just animals. Dude, I didn't realize that was a dead dog. I thought that was dead.
That was actually a pile of dead dogs. It was? Sure was. Almost sent you the picture of the dog laying in front of the owner's casket, the Navy SEAL, and said, they're not just animals, pal. I'm not kidding. I thought he sent me a picture of a sweet puppy. Oh my gosh. He's been electrocuted. The FBI is going to be at your house later today. What kind of things he's Googling. Dead dogs. Oh, it'll get you. L.O.B. put in her recap that yesterday her and her boyfriend Matt Commerce got into a spat about what the difference is between stressed out and irritated. Huh. Arguing about that. Yes, because he told me to stop being stressed out. I was like, I'm not stressed out. I'm irritated. What's the difference? Now, is that a legitimate question? That's a legitimate question. What's the difference between stressed out and irritated? Stressed out is like, I'm freaked. I'm buried. I say buried. This is what I said. I'm buried, man. I got this to do, this to do. I got bills to pay. I got this to worry about. Irritated is, oh, God, it drives me crazy. Something is irritating. Very short-lived versus, it's going to last until I take care of things. You were which?
I was irritated. You were irritated. I was irritated because I was hungry. We met for lunch yesterday in La Jolla. And there was construction on every single corner. And there was nowhere to park at the faux Vietnamese restaurant. So I had a lot of road rage. And he says to you, you're stressed out. Yes. Which is always a good move with your woman. Always. What's your problem? Are you stressed out? I'm not stressed out. I'm irritated. What's the difference? And you're single. Oh, gosh. Oh, my gosh. But we're talking about my boyfriend. Oh, my gosh. Exactly. That's what I'm saying. Oh. So I'm not allowed to get irritated? Reality hits you hard, bro. It does. It does when Jay just says it so blatantly. Hit me hard. I'm not allowed to get irritated or else I will remain single. Single. You are allowed. Unfertilized. What's unfertilized? You know what it is. At least I'm not married to you. Hopefully she gets put in the general populace, whatever it's called. General populace. There, I gotta know. Who can play at this game? Can you imagine if I gave LB control over the J drops? Oh my gosh. Forget it. Can you imagine? Just over and over and over. He strikes out...
So viciously. Yeah. He goes down swinging. I can tell that he is now gearing up for his biggest insult yet. You can see it, right? He is like, oh, she said, oh. You can see it on his face. When I say the word passport between now and 10, it will be good for tickets to see Bush, Filter, and Chevelle. So you've got to be listening for it. Dr. Phil talked to Cindy. Anthony yesterday. Again? Well, wait until you hear the wackiness of Cindy Anthony.

Cash and a passport in her Bronco doing a high, excuse me, low-speed chase down to 405. That's right, OJ. Audio of Jay creeping on LOB while she was in the restroom this morning. Not the way it went down, but whatever makes you happy. If we're in a disagreement over it, we'll just bag it. No, no. You've got to hear this. What is that? It's an email. I haven't checked my work email. You scared me right now. You were waving. He was waving a piece of paper, and I couldn't tell if it was like a white flag, and he was like, I give up, I give up. No, no. I'm done. Maybe a resignation slip. Right. What is it? It's an email from David that you should read. Let me see it. You spring things on me? Yeah, we love that. It doesn't spin me out. Why? Be okay, Woods. Me? What'd I do? Hey, Jay, does Woods drive?
Does Woods drive... I don't want to say... You can say it. I don't care. What is it? Does Woods drive a brown Suburban? If so, I want to let you know you have a lunatic working for you. Hmm. I was walking across the crosswalk on the 101 from 7-Eleven. And Woods was pulling out and going right. He didn't see me and almost ran me over. Oh, my God. Is this real? Yeah, it's real. This guy isn't making this up. Did he just call me a lunatic? Yeah. He called me a lunatic. Yeah. He gave me the raised hand to say he was sorry. Wow, so sorry. Did I mention that he was on his cell phone? Wow. I was getting directions to a place. Well, you're not supposed to be. Thanks. What is the guy, a cop? As he drove off, he hit the back of my truck with his... As he drove off, I hit the back of his truck with my hat. He sure did. Who's the lunatic?
I bet he will remember me. Oh, I remember him. And my buddy, John Winder, who I was on the phone with, will remember him as well, screaming obscenities at me. How come you don't have the Bluetooth? Call in. Call in, Winder. Because I was about a tenth of a mile away from the restaurant I was going to, and it was, hey, man, is it on the right or on the left? And that's all, you know, it was two seconds. Am I going right or am I going left? Winder was on the phone and heard this guy screaming. So you're Bluetooth. Didn't have time to connect? No, I don't have a Bluetooth. I have the plug-ins. What is that? The earphones. The wired one. I never see you using that one. I do use it. Do you? Yeah. How come not the Bluetooth? They're easy, dude. I'll get you one. I don't, I don't. I mean, I'll use it if I had one, yeah. Yeah, I'll get you one. But who is this guy? He's calling me out. He's writing Jay and telling him that I'm a lunatic. Yes, which is ridiculous. It's ridiculous to say that, and it's ridiculous to hit your car with his hat. Can I tell you? Is it? Yeah. If I almost got hit, I would hit a car. I told the guy, I'm sorry. I go, dude, I'm sorry. I didn't see you. Maybe it was reactionary, like he was a reflex. He still shouldn't do it. Okay. Let's say that hitting the hat on the back of my truck, which is insane, is one thing. Can I tell you what this guy did in the middle of the 101?
And I mean in the middle of the crosswalk. He was screaming at me so loud that Winder heard it and goes, who the hell is that? I go, some lunatic, dude. I'm getting out of here. And this guy cursing, screaming, freaking people out. I didn't almost hit him. I stopped and go, oh, my bad. And he lost his mind. Was he alone? Yeah, he's by himself. He lost his mind. Winder, please call in. I don't think that anybody has a right to be hitting anybody's car with a hat. It's not going to hurt it. Well, I know, but you still shouldn't do it. I will say this. Gosh, I can't do things. If anybody cuts, if like people cut me off or whatever and they're talking on their cell phone, I get extra mad. Yeah. I get extra mad. Especially if I just get one of these. I'm sure this is what you did. You're like. On your cell phone. Like, oh, sorry. Never even got off. My bad. Yeah. I was trying to find out where I was going. I did. I did. I wonder if you on your cell phone. Like, you're talking on your cell phone, that's why you almost hit me? Yeah, and he's probably right there, but I didn't hit him. Is that Winder? No. He needs to call in because he heard this guy screaming curse words at me. M1, Phil from Vista, are you there? Yes, I am. What was the word of the day? Passport. That is right. You all right, buddy? No, I can't do anything.
Hang on. I can't run over people anymore. It's getting to the point where you can't break the law and almost hit somebody, which is why they created the law in the first place. And people not get angry at you because I don't get angry at people. When they do stuff. You guys don't. Jay, you don't always use your headset, I bet. I do. You speed like a madman. I do. We all break the law every now and then. Just get the Bluetooth, bro. I'll get it. I'll buy you one. I use the thing, the headphones. I just got a new corded one yesterday. Yeah, the corded one. They're the best. Why? Because I can hear better. Yep. And I double them as headphones. They sound better. And people can hear you better. Yes. Your car is probably pretty quiet. My car has a little ambient noise inside of it. So the corded one makes it a little nicer for him. Yeah. I can't believe that guy emailed. It is stupid to be hitting your car, dude. I don't like that. I don't like people. After I apologize. Be different. Hey, Mike, he left his number there. He put it in the email. That's what that is? Yeah. I'm not calling. Here, you call him.
You want me to call him? I'm not calling him live on the air. Call him and see if he'll come on. Why does it seem like this stuff only happens to you? It does. I'm never leaving my house again. I'm never leaving my house. I'm just going to sit there. Get him on. Get him on. Oh, boy. I don't want... Will you take it easy? I won't say a word. He's like a magnet for trouble. Yeah, I am. I didn't do anything. I know, but... God, you did, though. I didn't. I apologize. I did something that you could do leaving the parking lot. The same thing wouldn't have happened to me because I wouldn't have been on my phone. Oh, boy. Oh, dude. I think I almost would have felt like I deserved it if I came back close to hitting him. Which is, I did feel that way. That's why I go, um... My bad, and I held my hand up. I'm sorry. Even the lashing. I would have been like, oh, yeah. When he hit my car, and I slammed the brakes on, and put it in park, and looked out the window, and go, dude. And he launched into a curse-laden tirade. Curse-laden. In the middle of the 101. You effing piece of ass. Which is wrong. Lunatic. It's wrong. Maybe you relax a little bit. It's fear. Make sure he doesn't cuss. It is fear. It's fear. What, Jay?
I have Chris getting on the phone. I didn't realize he was cussing like that. Like a sailor. Chris's eyes. Oh, boy. 570-1949. Woods has a look like, what did I do? No, I didn't. I know that what I was doing was wrong. I shouldn't have been on my cell phone. And he shouldn't have hit your car and cursed to you. I agree. I'm okay with it. I'm okay with it as well. I am. Not just because it's you. It was... A little bit of an overreaction. A little bit. But I don't think he was so far out of line. He was scared. I missed him by six feet. Oh. Okay? I didn't graze him. He's walking across. I'm taking a right. And I was like, oh, there he is, and hit my brakes. So I didn't nick him. I didn't graze him. I didn't really get close. In the tailback, I love it. It's very like, you know, I was, well, first of all,
I had on, like, a nun outfit. And I was like, oh, no. I was wrong. I was wrong. Oh, dearest. Which is why, Mike, your big bit, which is a bit. That was an overreaction. Forgiveness. It's a bit. You never really forgive anybody. Yeah, you do. No, you don't. You do. By now, he should forgive. But in the moment, he's upset. Well, he should have then, too. If a guy almost hit me, I'd be like, whoa. I wouldn't have hit his car. And then give him a look. Would you? No, I wouldn't have hit his car. Oh, no. I could totally see that. Because you know what happens? You might get your ass kicked. You hit my car when we got booted from Wipeout. You full-on slammed your fist into the ceiling of my car as hard as you could. Which is different from this guy. Jay and I know each other. We know each other. It's my car, though. That guy doesn't know me. If we were in Texas, that guy could have been shot. But I've seen you graze the back of people's cars. That's a bit. It's a joke. I'm a grazer. I told you that. When a car drives by, I go, I try to touch it. But I don't hit it.
What's that? Everybody's piling on. It's ridiculous. No, I'm not. Dude, it's ridiculous. You bring it all on yourself. You bring it all on yourself. Do I? Yes. Who's gotten more traffic tickets last year? Me or you? Me. Feast. Okay? I got a traffic ticket. You know how many I've gotten? Zero. First time in five years. Okay, great. I have not gotten one. I don't bring it on myself. Please don't say that because you're going to curse me. All I was doing was trying to get to a restaurant, trying to get direction. You have more altercations than any of us. That's fair enough. But people don't call in to go, hey, was Lauren driving on the 163? Someone called in on Jay being a D. Well, yeah, he's up there threatening people in his neighborhood. I don't do that stuff. I will. You speed down the street, I will threaten you. I'm just driving. You're just innocent. I'm not innocent, but I was just driving. I was on my phone. And had it been reversed, you would have been like, hey. I wouldn't have stopped and cursed at that guy in the middle of the one. When you, I mean, I wish Winder would call because he heard him. I think you, here, let me try something different. He heard him. You've done it four times. He heard him. Winder. Winder. Call. Winder. Winder. Winder. I need some backup here. Winder. I'm getting piled on. Winder. I'm getting piled on. Well, what's he going to do? Say yes. Confirm.
Confirm, because you probably don't believe me. Confirm. I actually do. I believe both of them. I'm trying to be nonpartisan. Hey, dude, he shouldn't be freaking cussing at you, which I believe. I do believe, and he shouldn't. And I also say he shouldn't be freaking hitting your car. And you shouldn't be on your cell phone. Yeah, exactly. I'll concede that. M1, well, I don't know that you're an M1. This is the guy. David? David, are you there? Yes. I can't believe it. Oh, my God. Don't say anything. Don't curse. Okay. Okay. But you know what? Listen. All right. I've been listening to what the heck you guys have been talking about. Okay. Hey, Woods. Yeah. Where are you? I'm right here. I'm here. Woods, don't flip out. Who's flipping out here? Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. You a little bit. Both of you are flipping. I'm here. Okay. You're the guy that drives the big Suburban? Yep. Yeah. And did I just hear you correct? You like grazing people? No. Okay, those are actions of a moron. Oh, boy. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me. I don't want, listen. Who's calling names? I'm going to hang up if you are going to call people morons and you're going to do, I'm going to, so I need to have an agreement. I need to have an agreement that you're not going to call any personal names and you're not going to do that. I'm sorry. And you're not going to cuss. Don't do either one. Again. Go ahead.
Really pissed off by the ignorance. I'm not taking you. You were on your cell phone. I was. I had somebody very close to me get severely injured by a very similar action. You almost struck me with your tank on wheels. You drive this enormous car. Maybe you shouldn't be driving. Do you know how many miles an hour I was going? One. One. One. No, it's not. One mile an hour. I apologize that you lost or somebody got hurt. Is it physically possible to go one mile an hour? Yeah, you know where I was? It was like the automatic idle out of the... Let's have a car, automatic idle, and have it slam into you in idle. Did I slam into you? I slammed into you? No, you didn't. No, you didn't. No, you didn't. No, you didn't. Okay, absolutely crazy. Maybe you get some Prozac. Hey, hey, mate, listen. That's personal. Maybe we can give him, hey, let's give him, maybe we give him Surf Brothers tickets and he has a bowl of teriyaki. Yeah. On me. In Encinitas. On Woods. On me. How about lunch? He'll give you Surf Brothers teriyaki. Who's driving? I'll drive. I was hit by somebody that was talking on their cell phone that almost killed me once. And so I, when someone does something, when they're on their phone like that. Have you done, have you ever talked on your cell phone?
Yes, I have. But 99% of the time, I use my wired thing. And if I were to make a mistake, I'd feel like a monster. So he's got a personal connection to it. It strikes a nerve. And he doesn't have a right to curse you out. And he doesn't have a right to hit your car. Not anymore. At the time, he was okay. No, he wasn't, man. It's okay. How about if you get mad? But you get mad. You don't have to freaking. How would you display that? It's reactionary. Oh, I'm mad. So upset. No, I knew that I had almost like grazed him and I put my hand up. I'm like, my bad, man. I'm sorry. You didn't see me apologize? No, no. You know what? No, I didn't see you. I didn't see you. You were probably seeing red because you were pretty upset. Yeah. We've all been there. I started kicking and throwing and hitting and all kinds of things. Now they're both being sarcastic. Yes. You guys just going to get sarcastic off? Just be friends. Yes. I'm a better bad guy than you. All right. All right. Thank you. How about that luncheon? Yeah, David. I like this guy. Okay, Sammy Gravano. This is a rat. What is a rat? You rat people out. Oh, yeah. Let's keep this secret. Freaking Sammy, dude. Sammy the Bull.
That's right. Could be in it at Sammy Gravano. Let's put him on hold and we'll get him... Get him some teriyaki. Get him some teriyaki. On you. On Woods. Not on you. M1 Sticky Fingers from San Diego. Gosh darn. Wow, that was intense. Hi. How's it going? I was calling because I've been hit by three different cars on separate occasions and like broken my back and collarbones. I'm sorry. Yes. And... Well, I was just saying, at least Wood said sorry. These people were trying to blame it on me, and they're coming across the double yellow on a two-lane road and hit me on a bicycle. Yeah, I was pulling out of a 7-Eleven. I mean, I was going one. Hey, listen, I got no right to talk. You know what I do? And it's wrong. I need to stop is the texting. You got to stop. I know it. Wow, you drive. I can't text on the iPhone anymore, thank God. You know what? I went through this thing where I was like, I was like, putting myself in this little shell and this little box where i was setting my cruise control and i was and i thought it was weird you know and so i started to allow myself to not be so weird well i think i text you know i i i shouldn't i'm not gonna i don't want to do it anymore i would rather you speed me too for sure i think speeding is probably safer than texting well you text
as well. No, I don't. You do. I can't. You have. I have. And you've texted me while you're driving, and I know that because I text you back while I'm driving, which is not good. It's bad. I know, but we do it, and we shouldn't do it. I get anxiety because people expect you to respond within like 20 minutes, and I'm like, I'm driving. I cannot text back. People get upset with me. It's hard on the iPhone to do. They need to come up with something. People are going to call and go, they have it. It's Dragon Dictation. Trust me. We've tried it. It's terrible. They need to come up with something that is better. M1 Scott is finally Woods. Scott's on your side. Yeah. Well, I got to tell you, you know what I mean? Basically, Woods, you got checked. I mean, there's no question about it. I got checked. You got checked. I mean, everyone's going to get checked in their life one way or the next, whether it's a tap on the bumper. You know, everyone needs that. Everyone needs a little check every once in a while. Yeah, the check bothered me a little bit, but it was the cursing and the, like, flip out in the middle of the 101. People were eating lunch, and they went, oh, my God, look at that guy. He's disturbed. And then they said, and look at the guy that hit his car, too. Yeah. They said both of those guys are really. That guy's disturbed. Could you not tell? Yeah, he did sound weird. He's upset with mankind, it sounds like. Yes. Now, where I come from.
Dude, you can carry a concealed handgun. You can't mess with people like that. You got to use your head. Which is why I drove off. The guy was a lunatic. Yeah. You know what? He did sound weird. Yeah, a little bit. He sounded weird. He was still very upset. This is two weeks ago. Woods gets wound up. He's a turbulent man. Man, just trying to live my life. You know? Just trying to go to lunch after surfing. Trying to grab a beer. He's a magnet for danger and trouble. God. Just trying to grab a beer after surfing with my guys. That's it. That's all I wanted to do. Oh, wow. When we come back, we're going to play audio of Jay. Oh, my. Recording L.O.B. It's a coup d'etat day. I nearly forgot. It's a big day of coup d'etat. Coup d'etat. Everybody's getting coup d'etat. Staying on. It's audio of her in the bathroom. That stuff's hooey. You got to have a screw loose to go in for that sort of thing. Call 570-1949. This happened. When did it happen, Woods? Two weeks ago. Two Fridays ago with my buddy Winder and my friend Zach. Winder. John Winder. Are you sure Winder was there? Winder was there. Winder. He was also on the phone, but we've let him know. Did Winder hear? Winder. Winder. I heard him freaking out. I said, well, it was the Texas Plates, and also the kid gets recognized more than Eva Longoria at a Lakers game. I said Texas Plates and Chaz Bono look like drivers. You're not a Chaz Bono look like drivers. Apparently. You're not. You're not. You're not. No. M1 Robert said, I love that Woods in one breath went from I'm sorry to maybe you get some Prozac. I don't like to be personally attacked. Called a moron. I told him not to do that. I don't like it. I can feast. M1 Corinne said she's all spun out now. Feels like she's going to be stressed after hearing him. Oh, my God. And M1 Kendrick says that he rear-ended somebody trying to pick a podcast.
Tell you what, man, that iPod's dangerous. As dangerous in a car as the cell phone is. It's true. It's very true. I was defending the guy until he lost it again. Well, see what I deal with on a day-to-day basis, I'll be. That's right. Denny's brought the most delicious food. Dude, what is that that tastes so good? They brought us all this stuff from their Let's Get Cheesy menu. Gosh darn it, it's good. We've got cheesy scrambles. We've got cheesy hash browns. Cheese, please. Omelette. Omelette was insane. I got some vegetarian options for our L.O.B. and J over here. Dude, it's so good. Let's get cheesy. So good. We're feasting. One of the ladies that came in asked J if J was Skye. Yep. One of the... Identical Skye. Identical Skye. One of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life. Are you Skye? Are you Skye? No, I'm not. No, I'm not. I'm actually not. But sometimes I'm mistaken. Sometimes. Both very liberal. That's right. That's right. Yes. 570-1949. Must have been where the confusion was. Yeah. Are you ready to hear the audio? Yeah. Dying to. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Should we? Okay, so, Jay, would you like to explain before I play this?
So I was walking out of our studio, and I can hear from the women's bathroom. Ella B is as bright as a tomato, right? Yeah. It sounded like somebody was killing a pig in there. Is that code for something? I think she was singing opera. I was singing opera. At the top of her lungs. I used the term loosely. What? What? All right. Gosh. Mike. Mike, you were singing opera. I wasn't really singing opera because I didn't know what I was singing. What time, Jay? Oh, it was before the show started. It was like a little after five. I was in there doing my makeup, which how did you not know I wasn't, you know. Yeah, because I didn't care. All I was going to do was stick the recorder through the door. If Woods had done that. you'd have been fired by now. Rapists. Yes, rapists. Sexual assault. Somebody would have called and said they saw me. I had my wiener out. Somebody would have called and they'd be like, you know, I was once putting my makeup on. Guy scared me and I poked myself in the eye and now I'm blind. Right, now I'm blind because of you. Luckily, he knows nobody's on the floor until at least seven around here. So I guess he thought he could just walk into the woman's room. Why? I did not walk in.
Till later. Your arm was in. Sex pervert. Why were you singing opera? Well, Mike, it's your fault that I was singing opera. Why? Because you played that video of the little girl singing opera. Remember that? Like last week? You played the... She'll see or hear something. Oh, my God. And she'll do it... Incessantly. Incessantly. Reagan, O'Reilly, O'Reilly. Yes. I played audio of a little girl. who sings opera. And I said that it wasn't about her voice box. It was about that they did a study on her, and they realized that it was her brain telling her voice box how to move. Well, you said, you were like, L.O.B. does this too, and so do I, and so does Woods, because we're impressionists. So I was like, well, maybe I could sing opera too. And actually, I thought it sounded pretty good in the bathroom. It was all echoey. Good acoustics in there. I did Silent Lucidity in there with you one day. It is very good acoustics, but I'm afraid... Is this lost on you at all? What? What? She thought, oh, if we're impressionists, I can be an opera singer. Or I can at least give it a shot. Yes, I will often, while I'm driving, do this too. Did you miss that? I missed it because I would do the same thing.
It's totally something I would do. Come again? I would totally do that. What do you mean? You would start to... Yeah, I would do that in a second. Like, me in the bathroom... But would you do it because you seriously wanted to see, hey, that's what she... I don't think she thinks she's moving to Italy or anything. No, but she did want to see, do I have the ability to do opera? I think I do. With the right training? I think I do. That's brazen. Let's play the audio. You heard this and you were like, oh, yeah. Ran in here, got the recorder. It ended up going on for a little bit because I stood there for a minute. I was like, do I have time? Do I have time to do this? That's phenomenal. Phenomenal. Oh, yes. Single, safest thing. Should be in a Wes Craven movie. Oh, my God. L-O-V. You're beet red. She is right now the ripest tomato. When a tomato is at its zenith.
That's what her face is as bright as. I was trying to do what that Italian guy does. I don't remember the words. I've never done this. Rapist. Oh my gosh. You're a creep, Jay. I'm not a creep. You gotta get me just the isolated part of when she discovers you. Holy cow. I'm in there. When I knew what you were doing, I could hear you putting your makeup on. I thought, okay, I can get a little farther in. So I stuck my arm out a little farther, and it must have gone right around the corner so she could see the recorder. I guarantee he stuck his head in there to know that I was not in the stall. I guarantee his pants were around his ankles. I promise you. Oh, my gosh. I promise you. To recap. This is the one that's a weirdo here, not me. Let's all remember that. How dare you, sir? Let's all remember that. How dare you, sir? To recap.
Wrong, sir. Wrong. Last week, I talk about a child that went to Phantom of the Opera and came home and mimicked what she heard on stage. Yes. And lo and behold, this child was a child prodigy and just sounds amazing. And I said that I saw a special on 2020. that put a scope down her throat and realized, oh, she's got a voice just like the rest of us. The difference is in the brain telling the voice box how to move. And I said, which, by the way, is what makes impressionists impressionists. And as you know, me, L-O-B, Woods, we do impressions. So since then, she's been...
Testing her chops. I've been doing it in my car. Incessantly. I don't think it's bad. It isn't bad. There is nothing bad about it. It's very scary. Opera. There's nothing bad about it. Is it a little unusual? Yes. Yes. Yes. My goodness. She's making up the words as she goes along too. You're testing your range. Yeah, I'm trying to see if I can do the dips and stuff. The runs. The runs. That's the word. You're the right spot for it. I'm going to work on that. Oh, wow. That was... Poltergeist. A little hot. A little hot. Let's see if that helps. You don't know the word. It's not. It's not. Sounds like the soundtrack to a murder.
That's what it sounds like. That was a single word. There's no words. Question? Mascara, eyeliner. This was all eye makeup. This was all eye makeup. When I put my eye makeup on, my mouth opened anyway. That might have been... Holy cow, L.O.B. I can't remember that song, what I was trying to do. You were trying to do... Yes. Andrea Bocelli. Andrea Bocelli. I don't know the words, though. Yeah. That clown. Exactly. But then I just figured I would keep going up and down. I was warming up. For what? The show. Yes, this is it. What is this called? I wish I knew the words.
You guys will all be singing this later today. 100. Do it. Oh, it's beautiful. Beautiful matchup. Oh, my gosh. 570-1949. I want reaction. Feedback. Feedback. I would like feedback. You do it, too, everybody. Her face buried in her hand. It sounds like the soundtrack to a Japanese horror film. Yes, there's no question. It's the ring three. Yep. This is the part where the little girl comes out of the well. She's trying to remember her. Oh. No. Why are you in anyway? You should be in your little studio box. J. Studio box.
Maybe the greatest piece of audio. Thank you. Who's a creeper now? Absolutely. You're not a creeper. I'm going to hide in the men's stall. M1 Dave, are you there? I'm here. Go ahead. That just made my day. Dave, you've done it too. Thank you. Women don't understand. The men's bathroom is a quiet. We just always get out. Very true. Not me. Women go in pairs. They talk. They sing. It's a whole different experience, I think, for women. And that singing took it to a whole new level. Well, there was nobody in there. It was fantastic. And I want you to imagine, too, just so that you can get the full panoramic view, it's L.O.B. putting eye makeup on while singing opera. Sounds way worse. Just testing her chops. Sounded good in your ears, didn't it? Really good in my ears. Sounds good in my ears. Oh, gosh. Maybe not that part. M1 Erin from San Diego. Hi. Hi. It sounds like the blue chick in The Fifth Element that sings the opera. Not a bad call. If you've ever seen the movie The Fifth Element, there's a, in fact, it's the central.
Character in the movie is this big blue chick. And she sings opera. And, well, if you've never seen it, sounds just like this. So I have what it takes, then. You definitely, in fact, have what it takes. Sharp. Sharp like cheddar. His very weird transition. It's just up and down. I love, I love the mashup. Me too. Oh. Brilliant. Oh my gosh. I gotta learn the word. I say don't. I say leave. Don't break something that isn't broken. Don't fix something that... Never mind. M1 Corey from San Diego. Hi.
I think LB sounds like Snow White when she's singing over the water and the prince comes up behind her. Chokes her from behind. Chokes her from behind. I was waiting for my prince. It's a snow film. Yeah, not bad. M1 Jared from San Diego. Hello? Oh, my God. Jared, are you there? Yes, I'm here. Go ahead. Hey, I really, really want you guys to match. L.O.B. singing with Jay singing Apple Bottom Team. Not bad. Not a bad idea. Please, please. And completely done. Consider it done. In fact. You guys rock. Let's see. Them baggy sweatpants and the Reeboks with the straps. She turned around and gave the big booty a slap. Uh-oh. She hit the floor, hit the floor. And then you know, shorty, I low, low, low, low, low, low, low.
Ain't gonna see nothing. Them baggy sweatpants and the Reeboks with the straps. She turned around and gave the big booty a slap. This is weird. She hit the floor, hit the floor. You know she did low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low. Ain't gonna see nothing. Well. That's the greatest. And, of course, how apropos. Yes, how apropos. A little silent lucidity, anyone? Oh, man. We could have a triple mash-up. Yes, we could. Them baggy sweatpants and the Reeboks with the straps. She turned around and gave the big booty a slap. She hit the floor, hit the floor. You know, shorty, I low, low, low, low, low. Oh, wow.

I hate to get up in the morning. And now back to the Mikey Show. Oh, yeah. Mikey. Mikey. I'm in love with Woods. Yeah, that's it. Woods. I'm so lonely. Lauren. I'm a lyricist. And Jay. Hey, I like to skateboard. On FM 94.9. I'm excited because we're going to be doing Pick Your Poison. It's a new fan favorite. If you haven't heard it before, LOB gives us... Two impossible choices. And we must decide between the two. And not only must we decide between the two, we have to be in a very particular paradigm. And the paradigm is relationship. It isn't about a one-night stand. You have to decide whether you are going to be in a relationship, which, of course, would include dalliances. With that person. With that person.
Sexual dalliances. I don't know that it was necessary. Sexual intercourse. Diving boards. To point out. Springfield trips. But you have to figure out who you would rather be in a relationship with. You know, Condoleezza Rice or Janet Reno. So, you know, there you go. Smells like carrots and throw up. It is. Oh, man. Wasn't funny when Mike Myers said it and still isn't funny when we play it on the air. Jay's the old man who does acting. Come on in here. Yeah. Come on in here. Let's do this. He's on the money. An actor with ability. He blinded me with acting. Set the scene, Mike.
So, here's the deal. Jay considers himself to be good at everything. Now, that is true to a certain extent. A thespian. He says that he's even good at acting. Excellent at acting. A thespian. I'm bad at cold reads. That's his deal. He says, look, Mike, I'm a great actor, but when you just put me on the spot, I'm not going to be as good because I'm just seeing it for the first time. Right. Yeah. Alright, now, what you're about to hear is called a cold read. We're going to hand him a script, and he will be in charge of performing said script. Now, I'm going to set the scene for you. Jay wants that script from Woodson so bad. He's like, let me have it, let me have it, let me have it. Cold read. Ice cold. Jay. Today, you will be playing the role of Daniel Song. No.
Miyagi-san. Sorry, Miyagi-san. Mr. Miyagi. Mr. Miyagi has just saved Daniel LaRusso from a beating after the high school dance. And they are sitting in Mr. Miyagi's home. There you go. Daniel-san. Oh, there you go. Come, leave on. It stinks. What is it? Smell bad. He look good. Sorry? Where did Spider-Man go? Who? The guy that bailed me out, where'd he go? What, you? No way. Why no way? Because... Because, old man, why didn't you tell me? Tell you what? That you do karate. Where'd you learn it? What, sorry? Avada. Avada. I thought he was a fisherman. Your father. Your father. In Okinawa, oh, Miyagi knew two things. Fish and karate. What's that? Karate come from China, 12th century. It's called tea.
You can't say that on the radio. I always thought it came from Buddhist temples. You know too much TV. That's what my mother tells me. Have you ever taught anyone? No. Would you? It depends. On what? Reason. How's revenge? You have to see him fully get into this character. I mean, he's acting it out. He is like moving his body, the whole thing. How's revenge? You look for revenge that way. Start by digging. At least I'd have company, right? Fighting always least answer to problem. Or the last answer. Yeah. Fighting always last answer to problem. Thank you. Mr. Miyagi, I don't think you understand my problem. Miyagi understands problem perfect. Sorry, you got to put two on that. Who is it? All karate student. No, but who? Miyagi understands problem perfect. Okay, got it. Friends? Yeah, those guys. Problem.
Attitude. Well, the problem is I keep getting my ass kicked. Karate for defense only. That's not what these guys are taught. Oh. I can see. No such thing. Bad student. Only bad teacher. Oh. There's more. There's one little bit more. Oh, no. Teacher says student. Okay, that'll be fine. Thank you. Wow. There he goes. I delivered that well. I have to say, it was pretty good. Not bad. It was pretty good. Well, Miyagi is a man of few words. Yes. Which, you know. Thank goodness. Granted, Miyagi is completely high on Tylenol cold burst. Isolated. Wow. Okay. He's still laughing. Jay, can you post the Russian fight thing on Facebook? Absolutely. Okay, so you get this.
Every once in a while, something will grab my attention. And I mean, it didn't just grab my attention. I'm like, life is so much weirder than what you write. I mean, the statement, life is stranger. What is it? How does it go? Stranger than fiction. Stranger than fiction. It really is. You can't write this. This happened in Russia. This they're having a debate just like here when they have a debate here for the president. OK, the only difference is. They sit down. They don't stand at a podium. They sit down in chairs. And what you'll see is what looks like a very, very professional set. You'll see a very, the whole atmosphere has a very, actually pretty highly produced look to it. Doesn't remind you a rush of what you would think. It's not shoddy at all. Gray. No. Dude, it's pretty good. Okay.
So these guys that are and sorry, there is a woman who is also running and they're sitting on the stage in chairs. One of the guys is a former KGB officer. He gets pissed. He gets pissed at a guy that is questioning him about the economy that's sitting next to him. It was billed as the battle of the business tycoons, a debate on Russian television about the state of the country's economy. The line-up featured newspaper owner Alexander Lebedev against former property developer Sergei Polonsky. Viewers were expecting the heated discussion, but they probably weren't prepared for this. He stands up. They were sitting, right? He stands up and goes, pow, just boom, just decks the guy. Guy falls back, chairs fly off, and this guy is like, he's ready to fight. I mean, seriously. Sucker punch. Sucker punch. Apparently, Polonski had said he was sick of discussing the economic crisis and that he'd rather beat someone instead. His opponent, it seems, took him at his word.
Alexander Lebedev owns a stable of British newspapers made up of the Eye, the Independent and the Evening Standard. He also has political aspirations in his home country. And a few months ago, he told Sky News he's battling against corruption. Everybody's fed up, and Putin and Medvedev are fed up. I cherish some principles and values more than actually the money is. It seems, though, a TV punch-up in Russia's not that unusual. You've got to see this. You've got to see it. Here's one on a weekly political program and another that didn't seem to faze the audience. And here's a good reason not to allow food or drink on set. But this is a punch that's possibly thrown a new light on the Russian oligarch. For his part, Lebedev has justified the assault. saying Polonsky had behaved in an aggressive and threatening manner throughout the interview. He really did afterwards say, yeah, I was defending myself. The guy, he was really starting to argue with me. Go to Facebook.com slash Mikey show and watch the video. It's stunning. It's stunning. We have very different cultures. All right. Pink your poison.
Are you ready? It's me, Woods, and Jay. L.O.B. comes up with the two women, and we have to decide on the lesser of two evils. Okay. Now, again, Woods and Jay. What? You're thinking from the perspective of I'm going to be in a romantic relationship with this person. Well, yeah, we're going to be doing it. Well, that's one of the things, but you also have to live with them. Date them. Do everything. Be in a relationship with them. Do everything. Oh, gosh. Weird. Weird. Just everything. Like, you know, go to the beach. Walk down the beach. Eat. Sleep. Surf. Go ahead. Well, for that reason, I believe I will start with the second one on here instead of the first. Thank you. Which is Susan Boyle or Margaret Thatcher. Oh, my. Holy crap. You monster. It's easy. It's easy? Mm-hmm. Yeah, it is easy.
Susan Boyle. She's recently... Well, let me not go to the physical first. That's just... Shallow. Shallow. Yeah. Very Woods-like. Come on. I'd have more in common with Susan. Susan seems to have a kind heart. Like what would you have in common with her? You wear the same pants. Both like soup. And eating. You wear the same pants. And eating. Eating. Sure wardrobe. Yep. Both like moo-moos. How dare you. And yes, Susan Boyle was recently given a makeover. What about her beautiful boy? Yes, and her boy. I also take Susan Boyle. Younger. Yeah. Very sweet, I bet. Probably a pretty good cook. Yep. Yep. I don't know why, but yeah. Probably fun. Well, no. Cuddler. She's a cuddler. You watch a movie with her. Jay. Same.
Yeah, she looks like... Well, you've already dated Thatcher. He slept with Margaret Thatcher. When she was younger. Go ahead, L.O.V. Tori Spelling or Tara Reid? Easy. Easy. So beyond easy. Really? It was instantaneous. Yep. First of all, I used to have a bit of a crush on Tara Reid. And met Tara Reid. One thing that I noticed about Tara Reid was that she smelled delightful. She was into a performer named David Gray. Yes. And I didn't like that. That was the one thing I didn't like because I'd never heard of David Gray. And I thought, oh, I'm plebeian. But easy. Easy. Although I'm thinking of just the physical. What about her slice of crazy? I'm taking spelling. Really, Woods? Yep. Because of that? She's got money. And she's semi-normal. She's a mom. She didn't get the money.
She's got money. When Spelling died, she didn't get the money. Her mom did, right? Yeah. Well, she's got her own money because she's on a reality TV. She's got her reality TV show money. Tara Reid doesn't have a career anymore. So I would always have to hear her. whining about how she didn't have a career. Wouldn't you prefer that, though? Because you're Hollywood, so you don't want your wife to overshadow you. Tara, for sure. She's too messed up. You know, I don't know if she's that messed up, but I definitely know that it looks like she has fun. And I would try to fix her. I would try to fix her. She looks like she has fun. Dirty. No. She's fun. Very dirty and sloppy. Should do cocaine off my butt, Mike. I put rails of cocaine on my butt. And she's such a weird girl. Should bit. Should bit. Are we ready for the next one? Okay. Hillary Clinton and Rhea Perlman. Remind me. I know who that is. Danny DeVito's wife. Cheers. Carla from Cheers. Come on. That one's easy, too. You think?
Yes. Who are you taking? Difficult. Say it. Not that easy. You can't say it. I know who I'm taking. Go ahead. Hillary. All the way. Rhea. You'll take Rhea Perlman over Hillary Clinton? No way. I thought for sure you'd say the same thing, Mike. Listen to that beating every day. It's Rhea Perlman. It's Hillary Clinton. But Hillary Clinton is a Democrat. Well, you know, opposites attract. You'd have to listen to it. I bet Hillary would be fun. Incessant. You think she looks like an ice queen, dude? She's got to be fun. I mean, Rhea Perlman's fun. She's fun. Dude, I think you talked me through. Oh, that's so hard. I think I do take Rhea Perlman. Look, you'd be taller than her for once. She looks like she's fun. What did he say? Yes. Oh, my God. Ouch.
Is she taller? She's taller than Danny DeVito. Just barely. She has a thing for short, ball-headed dudes. What's ball-headed? You know what a man? What? I guess it's a reverent. Whatever you think you know about this man is a reverent. Well said. Go ahead. Okay. I think this is a really good matchup. I do. Jennifer Aniston or Sandra Bullock? Easy, easy, Japanesey. I take Jennifer Aniston in a heartbeat. First of all, I think she's sweet. She's not sweet? No, she's not. She's annoying. They're smoking and just... She's a horrible actress. Oh, didn't consider that.
Much like yourself. I'd be like, I can't do it. She's a horrible actress. No way. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantoni. Holy cow. That's a handsome woman. Yeah, Aniston. All day. Sandra Bullock's a beating. Guaranteed. I agree. I think you're probably right. She portrays herself to be America's sweetheart. She ain't a sweetheart. No way. And she wants to... adopt kids from other places. It'd be the same bit if you were to date. Who's the one that Brad Pitt's married to? Jolie. She wants to adopt 50,000 kids. Well, I'm glad you asked, Mike. She's the next one on my list. Oh, wow. Her versus Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian. Jolie. See, you guys know more about Kim Kardashian. Yeah, she's a bigger beating than Jolie. Yeah, you guys say that she's pretty...
Intolerable. I'm Kardashian. No way. I want a girl wearing a vial of my blood around her neck. I'm in on that. You are a weirdo. Personally, I've seen more of at least what I think is Kim Kardashian's, like, real personality. And even then, I'd take her over Angelina Jolie. Yep. Angelina Jolie Woods. This would be what you would have to deal with. So I'm going to the UN this weekend. Okay. I'll be here playing PlayStation. Okay. I'd like to have a conversation with you about it before I go. Okay. In preparation. All right. I want to bring up the country of Jordan, and I definitely want to talk to them about the nation of Georgia. Okay. But I feel like there's going to be resistance because of what's happening right now in Gaza. All right. I want to know what you think. I'm going to be building a dynasty on my PlayStation 3. I'm going to take the Yankees to the World Series. You're unconscionable. Oh, I know. This is what I face. I'm going to talk to the you freaking... I know you are. Can you go to Vaughn's before you go? No, I can't because I'm Angelina Jolie. I know that. Can you send somebody? Maybe it's because I'm trying to save the world and I haven't had a chance to get your chew, spit, dip. My Copenhagen. Just go to Vaughn. She wouldn't let you dip.
She would. She'd let you do anything. No, she wouldn't. You would wake up and she'd be standing in the room in a dark room with a knife. All the way in. Naked. All the way in. She's gorgeous. Like, what's wrong, honey? She's gorgeous. Yeah. Her tears would be blood. Yeah. Oh, gosh. She'd remove your manhood. She scares the heck out of me. Yeah, dude. Not me. She's crazy. Tell me lucky. Is that it? Well, I have a list here. There's two ways I can go here. Creep me out. Creep you out? Yep. Courtney Love. Wow, you are creeping me out. Or Kat Von D. Holy cow. What are you doing to me? Oh. Because it's creeping me out. Kat. Wow. Can't do, there's no way. No, it's too nuts. I would almost say Hillary Clinton over Courtney Love. Yeah. I almost, in fact, I would. Relationship wise, yeah, absolutely. One night stand, no. Courtney.
There's no way from the physical and the just, I can't, you couldn't be in the same room. She'd make you want to jump out the window. It's true. She'd push you out the window. Yeah, she would. Yeah. She makes me think of a moldy rag. I don't know. It's not a bad. Yeah. A moldy rag. A moldy rag. It's never been washed. Never. Smells like mildew. Just been sitting in the corner getting moldier. It's never seen the washer and dryer. Oh, my God. You pick it up from behind the couch that's also in a basement, and you're like, babe, look at this. Kind of stuck to the floor a little bit. You kind of pry it off. And you're like, you go, hey, babe. You know how we've been spraying Febreze in there? I found out what it was. It's Courtney Love. What is that, babe? It's Courtney Love. It's behind the couch. This whole time. This whole time she's been behind the couch. Figures. Hanging out. So check this out. Lou Reed and Metallica have collaborated, done a song together. We have a live studio audience. And then on Fridays, you can come in for two hours from 8 to 10. And let's see. I mentioned this earlier, but wanted to mention it again. Don't ask, don't tell policy goes into effect. Well, it ends today. So no longer don't ask, don't tell. You're allowed to ask and you're allowed to tell. And you don't have to fear getting kicked out of the military. Now, why Woods? I don't know. I don't know. You're not in the military or gay. I like girls. Yeah. He likes... Does he? Don't I? Then, the largest sperm bank in the world is called... Jay. Jay. Jay. It's called Cryos. Okay. They're in Denmark. They serve all of Europe. Sounds like Dairy Queen. Yes. And they just announced that they're going to stop taking sperm donations from redheads. And the reason is because of a lack of demand. There simply is not a demand for it. Sad. Well, this is good news, though, L.O.B. There is still a demand in Ireland. And so they sell like hotcakes, they say. The redheads. The sperm redheads. Yes. But this is a quote from.
the director of Cryos, he said, I don't think that you choose a redhead unless, for example, a sterile male has red hair or because the lone woman has a preference towards redheads. And that's perhaps not so many. And that's a true statement. That is a true statement. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? The Chargers will be taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. It's a division game. It is this weekend, and they're excited about it. They asked Phillip Rivers yesterday, hey, what was the mood like on the plane after the loss to the Patriots? Excited. I mean, you know, guys were, you know, watching the tape, and, you know, I say excited about what we can be. Not excited, obviously, we lost a game. Guys were, it was one of those, you know. A lot of guys disappointed we lost but excited about who we can become. And, shoot, I can't wait for this one this week. I mean, you know, we went 3-3 in the division last year. We got a chance to get to 1-0 this week. And, you know, we're going to be a heck of a team. There's 14 regular season ones to go, and you hope you're playing some more. So I still think we're off to a good start. We obviously didn't play well enough to win yesterday.
The only goal we can stretch off the list is we ain't going undefeated. So get that one out of the way. Other than that, everything's still out there for us. I love that guy, dude. Can you imagine? I won't even say it, but it's just better be a win. Better be a W. Jamal Charles out for the year for the Chiefs. Yes. Make it happen. It's Kansas City. Yeah, it's Kansas City. And we need, I know they're a professional football team on any given Sunday. I know that, but just beat the Chiefs. Take care of business. Yeah. Or it will be bad. Or else. Let's see. Mikey Thon, October 6th and 7th. And it's not very far away. We're going to be broadcasting for 28 straight hours. It will be phenomenal. And incredible items that we're going to be auctioning off. And it's going to be a good time. Lou Reed and Metallica collaborating on a song called The View. I want you on the floor and in a coffin, your soul's shaking.
I want to have you downing every meaning of a mess like a fortune. Oh, throw it away, but worship someone who... It sounds like a family barbecue, okay? And you just got the new rock star Metallica. And your Uncle Ted stands up and he goes, I'll give it a shot. And you look at your mom, Uncle Ted's sister. And you give your mom the look like, really, with Uncle Ted? Oh, man. Still? Still wants to be a singer. Holy cow, Mom. So bad. And she gives you that look and she shrugs her shoulders like, you know your Uncle Ted. He drinks tequila. Yeah, and you're like, Mom, why would we have tequila here? Right. If Uncle Ted's going to be here, why do we have tequila? Use your head. Hello?
I want to have you downing. Good job, Mom. Good job. All right. Thanks, Ted. Uncle Ted, thank you. All right, Uncle Ted. All right. Okay. Thank you, Uncle Ted. All right. Thank you. All right. Thank you. That's so bad. That is, that's putrid. Yeah. William Shatner's like, that's terrible. That's awful. I have. The worst thing I've ever heard. Wow. Lou Reed, huh? I wonder what Sammy Simone would think about it. The guy that you said. Old Sammy Simone. Sammy Gravano. Sammy Gravano. Sammy the Bull. You know who he is. Earlier, Woods made a reference to Sammy Gravano. Yeah. Who is the Bull. He's a world famous turncoat. He's probably the second most famous turncoat besides Henry Hill. in the mafia. And you know who he is. I know Henry Hill. He's in the Goodfellas. You know Gravano, too. Sammy the Bull. You know Sammy the Bull. John Gotti. You ever heard of that guy? Yes, I have. That was the guy that ratted him out. Oh, I've heard of John Gotti. I have definitely heard of Gotti. Have you ever been ratted out? Me? Yes. Yeah, for sure. I just got ratted out 15 minutes ago by some psychopath in Encinitas. That is true. That is true. He called and he was very upset at Woods because Woods was on his cell phone and almost
killed him. Right. Yes, I almost killed him. You almost ran him down. No. Like a rabbit. No. You know, under a lawnmower. He was walking across the crosswalk. I was taking a right and didn't see him. Talking on the phone. Talking on the cell phone. Yeah, I admitted I was on my phone. Jack hole. Why do you hate that part? I was on the phone. I told you I was wrong. And then the guy hit Woods' car with his baseball cap. And screamed. Screamed. Loudly. Now, how much is your deductible? For what? For the damage. He didn't do any damage. Oh, he didn't? No. Guess who's here? Winder's here. That's right. Winder witnessed the whole thing. Earwitnessed. He was on the cell phone with me. Earwitnessed. He was who I was talking to. Trying to get directions to this restaurant. He earwitnessed it. Yes. He heard it. So he was an earwitness. He was an earwitness. Not an eyewitness, an earwitness. He was an earwitness. Yes.
And, Winder, would you hear some cursing? All right. First of all, come over to the mic. Yeah. So Woods called me to find out directions to the, we were going to feed the homeless that day. Yes, we were going to the soup kitchen. So he was meeting up with me, so that's why he'd use his phone. Soup kitchen. We were going to go to the animal shelter. Yeah, the shelter. That's what we do on Fridays. And then you were going to rescue some kittens from trees. Well, we wouldn't do that. That'd be ridiculous. I heard him on the phone, and he... Pulled out a little too far in a smart car. Yeah. In his smart car. My Prius. I hear this guy going off. Yeah. Nuts. And he's all, you don't have to hit my car. And he tried to apologize like genuinely over and over and over. The guy just went off. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I called him a C word. It was nice.
Woods forgot to tell us that part. And he's looking at us right now, shaking his head like, didn't tell that part one. Not that I care. Left that part out. In fact, two wrongs do make a run. But I thought that you were very like, oh dear. I was, until he was cursing and screaming. I go, why don't you chill out? Right, right, right, right. Maybe that explains his anger when he calls Ted. It was after the situation. Right. Mike, the situation. No, he wasn't there. What did he have to do with it? Guys, lucky we're not in Texas, all right? Well, have you ever been ratted out? 570-1949. Brothers, rat you out. You have brothers? That's the biggest rat out of all. God, those little cattletales. Sibling rat out. The sibling rat out. Because you're like, I thought we were in this together. Yeah. I thought it was us against them. Yeah. It's worse when your friends turn on you, though. You have a pact. You put your hands in.
Like you do a radio show together. Like you do a radio show. No, no. I was singing in high school. And then they form a show. I had a group of friends. We all agreed. They call it the show. I get it. All they do really is they just take your name out of it. Yeah. And then they just slide that other word right next to the. Right. They don't tattle on you or they betray you. Right. They don't even tell you. Less of a rat out then. Hey, Mike. What do you think? You know what, though, Mac? I've talked too much. Let's get your opinion. Let's get your little opinion on that one. Yes, when your friends rat you out. When did you have friends rat you out? In high school, we had this group of friends. We all got together, and we did this recorded bit. We recorded this thing. We did all these, hey, oh, yeah, do this. Just all this funny stuff. Wait, what's that? For what? What do you mean? Well, listen. Do you remember Bob and Doug McKenzie? Bob and Doug McKenzie. Oh, from Strange Brew. The movie Strange Brew. So we all got together. It was real big at the time. We all got together and put this tape together. And I tapped into the school's announcement system, wired it up, put it on a timer so it would go off in like second period. Of course he did. MacGyver. So second period, we're sitting there.
And we're waiting, and all of a sudden, this announcement comes over the PA. Holy cow. Oh, hey, everybody, school's over, eh? So get your smokes and hit the road, eh? I'd give a million dollars for that tape. There's no question. I'd take that alone. Oh, my gosh. So even though we'd all sworn allegiance, hands in, blood brothers, this is what we're going to do, they started breaking right and left. And my teacher comes, my other teacher that I actually wired up in her room because I knew she wasn't going to be in there. She comes into the classroom, grabs me by the hair, and drags me. And I'm doing this whole thing like, oh, no, no. She's dragging me on my knees. I'm like, and she's dragging me, pulling, dragging me into the principal's office. Oh, my God. There all my friends are sitting already in there. Crying. And they're just like. By the way, if that happened today, it would make worldwide news. This was Texas. People in England would be like, can you believe this? This teacher ran in and grabbed him by the hair. Only in America. There's the principal. He's got his hands by his head and he's like, oh, he just stares at me. Oh, my God. These guys have already told us what went on. So we just need you to admit to it. Interrogation tactics. And I sit down and I'm like, I do not know what you're talking about. Of course. I have no idea. And I said, these guys, they must be making some. They didn't get in trouble.
I got kicked out of school. I got put in reassignment school. Oh, my God. Because they all confessed and you didn't. So the next day, everybody at school wore black armbands until they were going to get kicked out. They said, if anybody wears a black armband. But the teacher at reassignment school loved me, so she let me go every day. So I just got to go home. Can you believe this guy? Wow. That's fantastic. I got a good idea for a prank. Whose idea was it? It was mine. Oh, wow. I'm going to rewire the whole announcement. How did you even know? Do you remember who cracked first? You know, they never really, they never admitted to it. Did you hang out with them after that? No. Never again. It was over. I pretty much got kicked out of that club. I got kicked out of all the extracurricular clubs. Can we find them on Facebook? Oh, yeah, they still, you know, they still befriended me. And they're like, oh, dude, so much fun. I'm like, yeah, was it fun? Did they call themselves a club? No, it was, okay, it was drama.
It was in drama. You don't have to be so embarrassed. He said that right now. It was called gay club. Yeah, it doesn't make you gay if you're in drama. I took drama, but I wasn't in the club. It was one class. I actually got a part in a play. I got kicked out of the play. It was drama. I'm sorry. You want me to say it, I'll say it. Fine, you ratted me out. Drama. Acapella choir? Yes. Like, what would you sing acapella? Whatever they gave us. It was a choir, though. It wasn't alone. Hum, hum, hum. No, acapella means they sing the song dry, no music. Oh, yeah. But they all have different parts. So you would be like... Oh, yeah. No, we'd sing normal songs. That's the acapella I'm used to. No, acapella. I believe. I thought you didn't do instruments. There's no instruments whatsoever. It's just dry voices. It's just singing. Acapella in my school was you made instruments out of your voices. You were in crack school. That was very advanced. Crack school. Clearly that was crack school. 570-1949. Anybody been ratted out? Rat anybody out.
My brother. What did you do? Of course. Come on, Mike. I'm sound asleep on a Sunday morning. Mom and Dad are getting ready for church. Pull that mic up. There you go. Get on the mic. Yeah, you can. Getting ready for church. I'm sound asleep. My dad storms in my bedroom. What have you been doing? What? During the headlights. My brother ratted me out, told my dad that we took his car to Mexicali, went dancing and drinking. Did you? Yeah. Yeah. But not that day. Another day. Another day. You shouldn't have gotten in trouble. It wasn't that day. Yeah. It wasn't that day. Yeah. And my brother had driven home drunk from Mexico, like 20 miles on a flat tire, ruined my dad's rent. Oh, yeah. So. He drove 20 miles? He was drunk. And he ratted you out? He ratted me out. Were you a part of it? No, I was down to sleep in bed. I hadn't gone out. A dirt bag. That should be easy, though, right? Yeah, I'd be like, I wasn't there. Yeah, you go, I wasn't there.
Did he believe you? My dad? Yeah. Oh, no. So you were a bad girl, and he knew you were a bad girl, and it made sense to him. No, I was a good girl that sometimes did bad things. I hear you. That's my whole life. That's my whole life. You're a good girl that sometimes does bad things. Yes, I'm a good girl that sometimes does bad things. That's weird. Easy, Chaz. Do you hear the laughter? By the way, that's everybody in their cars as well. Oh, I know. So he's able to get people. Oh, I know. By just going. Easy, Chaz Bono. Yeah, there's a bunch of simpletons out there. Oh, man. Oh, my gosh. M1 Casey and JoJo from La Mesa. Yo, what's up, Mikey? What's going on? Not much. I got a real bad story about dissing on one of my boys real bad. One night we were hanging out, and I told him the story. I was like, yeah, dude, I just lost 200 bucks at the casino. And he's like, well, yeah, you know what? It's not as bad as cheating on your girlfriend.
And that night, both of our girlfriends are friends, and they went out to a concert. And so after the concert, we all decided to go out to the bar. And I got drunk, and I was just kind of like, this is my fiancé, and I go up to her, and I'm like, hey, guess what? My boy cheated on... Oh, come on, loose lips, pal. What are you doing? As soon as I slipped it out, like, I was just, like, thinking, because me and my girl, you know, my fiance, were super tight. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I'd seen the look on her face, and I was like, oh, man. Like, I was like, no. You knew. Don't do it. Please, don't do it. You're like, look, $200. She did it. Of course. There's nothing you can do. And I was like, oh, my gosh. And then, like, it was just at this bar out in East County, and it was just everything you can imagine. And the girl's crying, and my boy's, like, trying to fight me. It was just the worst move ever. Hey, listen, that's when you pull out on your buddy. Hey, you know who doesn't get in trouble? Oh, my God, Mikey. I'm sure that would go over well at a bar. Hey, that'll get you. Instead of beating up, that'll get you killed. Yeah, that'll get you killed. Yeah, it's pretty rough. You tell your girl and your girl's friends with that. It's over. Loose lips, pal. Sink ships real good. Yeah.
My little brother ratted me out for making popcorn. I was like 10 or 11, one of the first times I was allowed to stay home and babysit. If you get in trouble for making popcorn, your parents might be too strict. They didn't want us cooking. It was like one of my first times being home. My mom was like, don't touch anything cooking-wise. But I was like, what's it going to hurt if I just push like three minutes on the microwave? Right, it's a microwave. But, of course, when you make popcorn, your house smells like it for four days. Yeah. So my parents came home, and we were, like, still feasting on it. So I took the bag, and I, like, crunched it up and shoved it in an arm pocket of a coat. Yeah. And I just was like, we were just denying. Like my mom was like, it smells like. We were like, no. No. What you're experiencing is a phantom smell. Orville Redenbacher stopped by and that's what you smell. Yeah. Wasn't us? Yeah. So, gosh, I forget what my little brother and I were fighting about. But then I was like, whatever, you're a little brat. And I went into my room and I was like listening to my headphones and like doing my homework.
Like didn't even hear my mom come in and I just see a popcorn bag dangling. It was about six weeks later and she was like, didn't make popcorn, huh? And he went and retrieved it. Of course, I forgot. What was the punishment? I probably just chores or grounding or something. Let me tell you. Let me tell you something. The brother, sibling, turn in bit. This is what I found funny about the story is kids, big player with kids over microwaving. over microwaving. When I was a kid, I would stick stuff in the microwave for eight minutes. Oh, yeah. And I'd ruin stuff. I'd ruin microwaves. You ever put tinfoil in there? Yeah, good move. The stuff you're not supposed to put in there? Forks. I do that all the time. Everything I wasn't supposed to put in a microwave, I'd put in a microwave.
I did that when I was babysitting and I called my parents over and I was on the floor with my mouth because I thought I was going to die of smoke inhalation. So I called my parents. She's phenomenal. To see if the kids, I was like, should I wake the kids up? And I was down on the floor with my mouth covered on the cordless phone. My dad came over and he was like. Just smells like burnt popcorn. And, of course, the inside. Again with the popcorn. People's microwave. Haven't you gotten in enough trouble. Seriously. Over popcorn. It was black. So every time I came over there afterwards, they always had like a bottle or a box of the Arm & Hammer. Oh, my gosh. Imagine her going. I'm crying. Should I wake the kids up? Holy cow. 570. What's up, guys? What's going on? None. I had a real close friend who I consider like a cousin who my mom used to daycare. And I had some porno magazines. And I let him borrow. He took him home. His little brother found him. And he ratted me out. And not only did I get in trouble.
But I had three other cousins who knew about them. We all got in trouble. Oh, yeah. Gets you in big trouble. The old porno pass around. We've all done it. Porno pass around. The old porn pass around. Yep. And it will get you in trouble. Oh, it'll get you. If I find my boy's porno stash, I'm leaving it where I found it. Yes, that's a good... You don't touch it. You don't want to touch it. No way. You get it, Mike? Just saying. I can explain. We just got some new releases coming up and make some noise in our live studio audience. Go put the words in your mouth. This is Dave Grohl on drums. Speaking of Dave Grohl, he got after the Westboro Baptist Church, the whack jobs. Yeah. They are whack. jobs man. Straight up. Straight up crazy. Like insane people. They're the ones that you hear that protest at like soldiers funerals and stuff. Brilliant. Just morons, weirdos and I guess Dave Grohl was they were doing a concert and they were protesting the concert. And so Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters roll up on the back of a flatbed truck and they start serenading.
The Westboro Baptist Church protesters. Brilliant. It was awesome. They're all dressed in trucker gear, like with tight jeans on and fake mustaches and trucker hats. Oh, is that the deal? Oh, yeah. Okay, so they were doing it because they were protesting the Foo Fighters because they have a lyric that mentions, quote, man-loving. They did a video. It was just a joke. If you've ever seen any of the Foo Fighters video, they're all funny. And they do bits. Like Blink-182 videos. Right. And so they got real upset about it. And they get real upset about everything. So they protest everything. They are genuinely psycho. Oh, yeah. Like nuts. And so Dave Grohl says, I don't care if you're black or white or purple or green, whether you're Pennsylvanian or Transylvanian. Whether you're Lady Gaga or Lady Antebellum, it takes all kinds. And just not jobs, though. And then the other one that I thought was pretty funny was that apparently security has been beefed up at Journey concerts. So now they have two security guards. Yeah, fair enough.
The reason is because Neil Sean, the guitar player, is apparently now hooked up with Michelle Salahi. They can do worse than that girl, I'll tell you. Well, yeah, the problem is that she's married. Was. Was. Yeah, he filed for divorce. Yeah, separated. They weren't. They weren't separated. When they hooked up, right. Yeah, right? Yeah, right. Anyway, he's filed for divorce. Tarek Salahi. Neil Sean. Still blows. Yeah. She's pretty hot. Of all people. Neil Sean. Neil Sean. Journey. I'm telling you, on the road, he could probably pull it in. Well, they say that the road ain't no place to start a family. Right down the line, it's been you and me. That's true. You know? All right. So.

You haven't even seen it one. But I know what it is. It's like Wedding Crashers for Girls. Judd Apatow. It's not like Wedding Crashers for Girls. Is Judd Apatow? Yeah. Maybe I would. It's like the Hangover for Girls. Hangover for Girls. That's what I meant. More like that, but less sex, more just like, whoa. Some stuff surprises me. That stepbrothers thing, I would have never thought in a million years that I would think that's funny. I was dying. It was genius. Holy cow, did that movie make me laugh. Yep. What's just sitting there high on cold medicine? Sad. Sad programming music. Nothing wrong with this one. I like it. Let's make some noise in our live studio audience. Let's make some noise in our live studio audience. We've got Mike and Show live. So, I guess last night on The Tonight Show, they had Simon Cowell on. And they were talking to him about all kinds of stuff. But one of the things they discussed was his morning ritual. Now, he's not afraid. to talk about the fact that he's very, very rich. A lot of celebrities and a lot of people in his position may try to maybe hide the fact that they are very wealthy. Now, before we talk about X Factor, I want to ask you something. I'm a little bit of a creature of habit, but you far more so. I've just been doing a little investigation. Is that fair to say? Are you a creature? You have the same sort of ritual every morning, don't you?
Yes. Because I didn't quite believe this one. Because if I said it, people would say, oh, that's ridiculous. So I figured, tell me your ritual. Well, I always hit the snooze button three times. Three times? Yeah. The night before, I phone up my housekeepers to say what time I'm going to have breakfast. Okay. So on the third snooze button, breakfast arrives. And how much time between each snooze? Five minutes? Five minutes. Five minutes. Yeah. So you get an additional 15. Another 15 minutes, yeah. Okay, okay. Then the snooze, the third time you hit it, what happens then? Then my housekeepers walk in with my breakfast. So they walk in with my breakfast. On the third snooze, and they come in, they get his breakfast. Wait till you hear what dude eats. Now, are they housekeepers named like Trixie and Licorice? Are they just regular? Are they... I mean, are these like... You know they're going to be watching this right now. No, but you know what I'm saying. Are they like Sherlock Holmes' housekeeping Mrs. Hudson, sort of husky women in their mid-50s? No, they're all ex-Playboy bunnies, but they are great. You're going to love what he eats.
So then bring the breakfast. And is it one of those breakfast things that has little legs on it so you eat it in bed? Yeah. I mean, the first course is English breakfast tea and papaya juice with lime. Yeah. And then it's followed by oatmeal. Oatmeal. Oatmeal. Then three special smoothies. Three smoothies? Yeah. Now, wait a minute. Now, wait. English tea. Oatmeal. Oatmeal. Papaya juice. Papaya juice with lime. And then three special smoothies. Are these a gallon size? No, come on. How can you have three smoothies? Because they're good for you. Yeah, one is spinach. One is a super fruit smoothie, which makes you look great, as is obvious. Spinach? Yeah. It's spinach, banana, lemon, and ice. That's disgusting. Spinach, banana, lemon, and ice? She's really writing it down. Guantanamo Bay. What a horrible breakfast that is. No bacon and eggs? No, no, no. And then the third one is, I don't know what it is. It's orange juice mixed with something else. It's like an antioxidant. An antioxidant. Yeah. All right. Now those are out of the way. What happens next? I poop.
Well, we are, actually, yeah, because I have to work till 5 or 6 in the morning, so I don't get up till about 11, 30, 12. So while they're doing that, then they're running a bath for me next door. So they're running a bath for you next door. Yeah. Okay. That's hysterical. And he's not kidding. That guy became so rich from American Idol. I mean, just disgustingly filthy rich from American Idol. Guy's got housekeepers bringing up the... smoothies, the whole bit. Here he is talking about working with Paula again. Then, of course, it's back. It's back, Paula. It's like making The Exorcist 3, isn't it? Yeah. I've always heard, I want to find out now that you and her perhaps were once romantically linked. As we call it in England, you know what a snog is? A snog? Yeah.
Like egg snog? No, I don't know what that is. A snog is basically when you kiss someone with tongues. Oh, I see. That's called a snog. They used to make out? Why not? We had to do it once for, I think it was Idol 2. Oh, you had to do it? We had to, yeah. We did this scene. So you ever kissed not on screen? No, no, no. Absolutely not. But we had like 10 minutes to do this thing where we actually did kiss and you see us. She demanded 11 retakes and that's a true story. Demand it. Yeah. But Paula is like, and I say this with affection, it's like, you know if you've lost your dog and it goes to the pound and then the pound calls you to say, we found your dog, will you come and collect it? Imagine that emotion when the dog sees its owner again. That's fantastic. Holy cow. That's fantastic. Not mince words. No. No. He tells you what he thinks. And they're good friends, you know? She got fired. He got fired or something. I don't know. Something squirrely went on. But they're back together. Have you seen the cast of this new X Factor? Yeah. Identical American Idol. There's a black dude. He wears glasses. I'm like, holy cow. Paul is there. They have the ex-pussycat doll who doesn't look like anyone except a supermodel.
The thing I like about it, though, is there's no age limit. And I think that's kind of cool. Jay could be in it if he wanted to. Absolutely. Anybody could be on it. As long as you've got some kind of talent, you could be on it. And they're going to play on your emotions. It's going to be a deal where they play on your emotions. Kids are free in October at all the museums here in San Diego, which is kind of cool. I can get a kid at a museum. It's free. Well, no. No, you don't get a free kid. What it is, is that... I just got my hopes up. Oh, no. Again, you could really use one. All that paperwork. Again, all the paperwork. All the money you've spent. All the money I've already spent. Yeah. Too free would be great. Not to mention the heartache. Natural History Museum has some awesome kids. That would take them. There you go. I'll take them. We'll take any color, race, doesn't matter. Oh, let's see. Whatever. Brought the room down. What are you going to do? I guess just bring... I thought I was going to go to the museum. Well, at least you got your wife because more than I have. That is true. That is true. She's all alone. Yeah. I'll probably die alone. You should get a cat. You'll get cats. Yeah. Put a couple of them. All right. Well, that's fun. Kids free, right? Does it say anything about single women? Cats are free, actually, at a lot of places. It doesn't say anything about single women. No. Single women aren't... You can't get... No.
No, but in the month of October, if you bring your kid. This isn't going to apply to me. This isn't going to apply to us. I guess, what is it, five till? I could probably just go and take it to the house if this is the last story you're going to do. Oh, wow. No, that'll include the Birch Aquarium. Oh, that would have been fun. It is. It's actually very fun. That would have been a blast. You can still go. Reuben H. Fleet. They let dogs in there? No. I've got seven of those. I know that. San Diego Air and Space Museum. I think we're trying to overcompensate, maybe? You could get a really smart kid from there. Seven dogs. No kids. Only because there's not room for eight. Can I take one of yours? Take one of my dogs. Your children. For having? No, I mean, just to run down to the museum, because, you know. That'd be fun, I think. Look at that. It'd be like an uncle. You could see, like, what it would be like. I think I'm like, you know how they have that saying, always the bridesmaid, never the bride. You're always the uncle. Always the uncle, never the dad. Let me ask you.
It's uncomfortable. Jay's uncomfortable. It's a little loud, Jay. It's a little loud. A little overmodulated. I can't hear it. What? I thought it was the emergency broadcast system. Wherever you play that, I just, you know, halfway probably do the same, have the same effect. But, you know, try it now. Try it, but only halfway. Not bad at all. No. Perfect. It's actually. Oh, wow. Well, there you go. That frequency. The first one that starts out. It'll get you. It'll get you. All the dogs are barking. Your dogs are probably barking. My dogs, yeah. My kid. I won't wake my kid up. Yeah. That's for sure. It's hard to tell stories sometimes, you know, because you don't really think it through. A couple of sensitive people on the show here. Sometimes you just don't think stuff through. Well, you know, you got to tell the story. Yeah. Well, you don't have to. That's a positive story. Yeah, it's positive. For those with children, it's a great positive story. Hillary has a child. I do. What would you do, Hill? What? Well, you know, if you had the Hillary show. Oh. And, you know, you wanted to get this story out there because it's a good one. Facebook it. You know. Tell Woodsy and LLB earmuffs. Yep. Earmuffs. Earmuffs. We'll do this. There you go. All right. So now that Woods has got his ears closed, I just want to let you know that in October, if you have a child, if you've had a successful adoption.
If you don't have a checkered past. Oh, wow. What do you mean a wow? Earmuffs. Oh, wow. You're supposed to have your earmuffs on. Yeah, earmuffs. Checkered past. I think he meant like a checkered shirt. Yeah, you have a checkered shirt on. Like what you have on. Lucky we were doing a story about eggs drying up. Where's the uncomfortable alarm, Jake? Halfway. It's too quiet. It's perfect. It's so quiet. It actually works out. That's better. That's piercing. That pierces a little bit. Everyone thinks there's like an earthquake alarm or something. Yes, yes. Well, if you weren't listening earlier, L.O.B. was in the bathroom and she was singing opera. Thank you, Jay. Thank you, Jay. And Jay recorded it. Welcome. Haunting. It is? No, I mean literally haunting. Is that the New Tori Amos album? Yes. Sounds like it. New Tori Amos. She's singing Andrea Bocelli. Trying to. Attempting. I didn't know any of the words. Putting my makeup on. Yes, eye makeup.
5 a.m.? Jay was creeping around. Right over here, yes. It's creepy. I love it. It is. Oh, wow. All right. Well, thank you. Two on that. Hill, what do you got coming up? Let's see. The Pearl Jam soundtrack to their new documentary is out today. I'm going to play some Pearl Jam. I also play a local band whose new album comes out in one week from today. A band who's in town this weekend and who we learned yesterday, their upcoming San Diego date is now. Sold out. Wow. Oh, too bad. So sad. Bye-bye. There you go. You snooze, you lose. The lovely and talented Hillary is up next. And we will come back tomorrow morning at 6 o'clock. Do this all over again. The Mikey shows up. Meet. The Lincoln Financial Media Station. We're the closest you'll ever come to a professional college radio station. Best described as dead air. M94.9. It's about the music.
