Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Welcome to the Halloween edition of the Mikey Show. As is following in tradition, I will now tell you a funny joke. And the funny joke is as follows. Why can't witches have babies? Why? Because their husbands have Halloweenies. Wiener tag. Oh, wow. That's a nice, that was a good joke, huh? Timeless. It's like wine. This keeps getting better each year. Gets better with age. Vinegar. If vinegar is the finest bouquet ever offered up, then yes. Happy Halloween. Woodsy cannot trick-or-treat. He's going to be out. Are you going to dress up for your appearance tonight? No. You are not. No, I am not.
You're not going to wear a ghost costume? I am not wearing my ghost costume. I'm wearing probably jeans and a v-neck t-shirt and a hat. How about you, LLB? Are you going to get sexy? I'm not going to get sexy, no. It's your opportunity, you know. No, it's not when you're trick-or-treating with a toddler. Yeah. Today's the day that you're allowed to be a hoo-ah if you want to. Yeah, girls do. You're a woman. Girls get, they sexy it up. That was my Saturday night. Oh, boy. That was what you did Saturday. Yes. She dressed as her friend and our friend, Meryl. That's so funny. Now, Meryl has large breasteses. Giant. Gigantic. Enormous. How was that met, L.O.B.? I got two foam basketballs. Little, like, kids basketballs. No, I meant how did people meet? What was the response? Oh. It was really good. People really liked it. She said that guys were elbowing each other.
Yeah. As she walked into a bar, they were like, oh, my God. Yeah. Look at that. Any attention? A lot. Even when they knew that they were basketballs. Even Matt told me, oh, my gosh, I just found myself staring at them, even though I know that they're fake. That's how creepy we are. Yeah. They were bas- A guy can dream. Oh, boy. Ha, ha, ha. Oh, boy. Here we go. Monday morning. Well, I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show, 41 years of age. Woodsy is our sports guy. He is 36. L.O.B. is our assistant producer. She's 30. Jay is our producer. He's 47. And our phone screener is Chris. That's Krause. That's Krause. Four packet tickets to SeaWorld today. Word of the day. And the word of the day is basement. So when you hear me say the word basement, caller nine. Could say it at any time. Could come during commercial. Could come at any time. So you got to listen for it. Found out that Twilight Zone was released on Blu-ray. So I went ahead and did some of that. The series? Yeah, the series. Isn't there a movie? Yeah, there's a movie. Okay. I'm talking about the old 1960s black and white series. Scary. You bought it? I bought it. And also, I already have a book called The Twilight Zone Companion.
which goes along well with the episodes. I'm surprised you were able to get it that it wasn't out of stock. Right. So many people. Well, truth be known, I was just putting my glasses on. Truth be known, it actually was out of stock. Oh. Out of print, I think, is the right way to say it. Right, out of print. Well, they had done a second edition. Right. That promptly sold out. Print to order. Yes. Printed as people request them. Right. Now there's a new book out on Twilight Zone which lists things like the budget, the director. Surprisingly, I didn't go for that one. That's weird. I know. Actually, I did go for it and then I deleted it from my cart. From the cart. And then I put it back and then I deleted it. And I did that a few times. Now, did you watch it with your little book open? Yeah, I will do that. Yeah. I've done it. I've done it. Because the book gives you Serling's opening lines. Because at the beginning of every episode, Rod would walk out after the opening scene. Say the scene was you and L.O.B., and you're in the middle of an argument. And that's how the show begins. And then Serling, the camera would pan over, and Serling was in the room with you the whole time, and he would go, witness a couple in the middle of an argument.
It seems normal that they would be arguing on a day like this. Little did they know, they've just crossed over to the Twilight Zone. Loved it. So can't you just watch that? I like to follow along in the book to what he says. Of course you do. Then it gives the cast. Then it gives the plot. And then it gives his closing comments. Which are also in the DVD. Which are also in the DVD. Yeah, what do you mean? Well, you're reading it. And watching it at the same time. Yeah, but when I see him say it on the television, I go, I knew you were going to say that. Saw it right here in my Twilight Zone companion. Because you read it. That's nerdy. Knew that was coming up. Totally nerdy. And then I go through all the different episodes like that. I know just by the title what the episodes were. Right. All the famous ones. Oh, yeah. If you were to tell me, what did you like? Do you remember any episodes? The scariest one I ever... saw was, did you remember the tree, the Christmas tree that would scoop along and they finally stacked rocks around it to keep it from coming around? Are you sure that wasn't the machine, which was about a slot machine that came to life? No, it was a Christmas tree. I don't remember that. Was the Twilight Zone the one where they had somebody that was buried alive that was trying to escape jail? Yes, it was, but that was in the 1980s.
version in color of the Twilight Zone. That one was petrifying. It was great. He lights the lighter and he's in the coffin with the guy that's supposed to dig him out. Oh my God. That was so freaky, dude. Yes. I'd never forget that one. And he realizes at that moment no one's going to dig him out. Yeah, because the guy's in there with him. If you call with a famous episode, I probably could tell you which one it is. Big fan of the Twilight Zone. They'll do a... They'll do a marathon every year, and I'll tape a few, and then erase them, and then the next year tape them again, which is nonsensical. It doesn't make any sense at all. So you did watch some this weekend already? No, it's on Memorial Day weekend. No, no, no, but did you watch some of your DVD this weekend? Haven't got them. Oh, you haven't got them? No, they're on Blu-ray. They went back to the original film and transferred it on 1080i. Did you watch it when you were a kid? Oh, yeah. That's what screwed me up. Part of it. Scared me bad, but I was too, I mean, my mom didn't want me to watch. I always got up and stuck in and looked over the couch. Me too. Oh, frightening. And then go crawl back into bed, you're like, it's petrified. Yes. And I'd find those marathons, and nobody's watching me, so I'd just watch them. I'd sit there and watch them. M1 Disney's on the line from Carlsbad. Happy Halloween-y. Hey, guys. Hi. Hey, I just wanted to let you know that if you've ever been on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at California Adventure. Uh-huh.
When you're in the waiting room when they're showing the movie and you're getting ready to go on the ride, if you look up on the shelf, the original scripts are hidden up in that bookshelf. And then there's a pair of broken glasses, and those broken glasses are the ones Burgess Meredith wore during that episode that he lost his glasses. You realize that you have now made it to where I must go back and see that. I didn't know that. They won't tell you that, but I actually have some inside information because I work there. Wow. The stuff is there. You just have to look for it. Thank you very much. You bet. By the way, that episode is called All the Time I Need. Look at you. Burgess Meredith. Now, we rode that ride, but we didn't go that route. We had a little connection. Yeah. And went in through the back door. Now I want to see that. Now I have to see that. That was awesome. By the way, if you're trying to pick somebody up for Halloween, just know this. 71% of men said that.
Women in a sexy costume is their favorite. How that's not 100%. I know. How isn't that not 100%? Some people like funny. 5% of guys said that they're attracted to a woman in a scary costume. Oh, scary. Like Buffalo Bill probably said that. Yeah. Ted Bundy was a huge fan. Women, what do you think their favorite is, Woods? On us. Women like funny. Funny. Funny. They got to like funny. That's it. Women say, well, 51% of them anyway, say they like guys that are wearing a funny costume. So there you go. As you're going out tonight, make sure you do that. Three o'clock when my son Jake comes home, we are going to go trick-or-treating. No, no, no. Sorry. We're going to make our pumpkin. We're going to carve our pumpkin. Nice. Three o'clock. There you go. If you're looking for what to wear.
Tonight. Halloween. Let's see. Oh, Woodsy. Big sports weekend. Huge sports weekend. Yeah. Really rough weekend for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, from which I hail. The Cowboys got smoked last night by the Eagles, and the Texas Rangers, Mike, lost the World Series. Here is the game call from Game 7 in St. Louis. I don't know enough to even know. Wasn't supposed to happen? No. It was not. It was not in the cards. Oh, good pun. Yeah. For them to win. I talked to a friend of ours, Josiah. Yeah. We have a friend named Josiah. He was in Vegas in August. At the time, they were ten and a half games out of first place. Okay, so that's August. There's two months left in the season. Right. The odds of them winning the World Series was about 250 to one. He was going to put $100 on the Cardinals to win the World Series. His wife told him don't do it. Oh. Guy with a clean house.
Oh. He would have cleaned house. Oh, my gosh. Yes. Naomi. Yeah. Come on. What are you doing? Yeah. He would have cleaned house. It was. And I could see him being like, all right. Fine. Fine. Yeah. It was such an incredible, incredible World Series. It was the highest watched, most watched baseball game since 2004. 25.4 million viewers and a 14.7 national rating. Which is crazy for baseball. And, you know, the Cardinals, man. resilient, resilient team. And, yeah, the Rangers have been in the World Series the last two years and have lost. Wow. Which is just insane. Wow. Just insane. And then tonight, everybody's geared up. It's a huge Monday night football game. It's the Chargers. It's the Chiefs. It's in Kansas City. And, you know, this is for first place. Yeah. It's crazy. It's going to be a good game. And it turns out now Thanksgiving is going to be a good day to watch football, which it never is. Because Detroit always sucks. Yep. And they play every Thanksgiving. Well, they don't suck anymore. Not at all. And they are fun to watch, man. Yeah. They are fun to watch. There were some just huge upsets yesterday in the NFL. We'll talk about those later. And just some games that you never would have thought. Ever. Beautiful weekend. Gorgeous. Oh, was it a beautiful weekend. Like summer. Yeah. You know, I call this the death throes of summer. It's like it's giving its last gasp before it gets cold.
Rebecca was kind of on me because I had turned the heater on downstairs, had the air conditioner on upstairs. Wow. Which I understand. I mean, that makes sense. Why would you do that? Well, I went downstairs. It was cold. I went down there at 4 a.m. I went down there at 4 a.m. It was very chilly, so I turned the heater on. And then later on, I went upstairs where the air is always on. I didn't even touch it. You know, I didn't touch it. And, you know, so I... I got a talking to on that one. You're like a little kid. And I, you know what? I acquiesce. I said, yeah, it's screwed up, you know. You're going to create lightning in your house. Exactly. Yes, you are. My own system. So, L.O.B. posting all weekend long. Yeah. With Ballin'. Yep. How's Ballin' doing? He's good. I should probably. Jay. What? Did you hide him? I didn't touch Ballin'. Jay. I didn't touch your Ballin'. You didn't touch Ballin. No, I swear. I've been busy all morning. I've been working. On my mother. Oh, wow. You go far. You go really far. Where's Ballin? On my fake child that I don't have. Oh, gosh. That's his Pashmina. That's his Pashmina. He's always there. He's carrying cases here. Jay. Did you lose Ballin? He just wants someone to say, has anyone seen Ballin? Has anybody seen Ballin? No. I did not touch Ballin. It's great parenting. Maybe he slipped out into my purse.
That's great. Jay. I swear to you. Jay. I did not touch ballin'. Has anybody seen ballin'? Jaren O'Brien. That's Jay's move. That is his move. It is totally your move. It is my move, but I did not. He says I didn't touch, what did you use, like tongs? Okay. I had nothing. He used tongs and said I didn't touch it. This morning I had nothing to do with ballin'. Technically, I'm not lying. This morning I had nothing to do with ballin'. L.O.B. has been carrying around an egg named ballin' for a week. Almost a week. He's my son. Tomorrow's the day we started. We started Tuesday a week ago. Every morning I go, how's ballin'? Where's ballin'? I saw a great picture of ballin' playing in a little kid toy game. Percentage of chance Jay has ballin'. There's no question. 100%. I swear to you. I'm starting to get worried. You're starting to get worried? Amber Alert. Amber Alert. For Egg. Egg. Responds to ballin'. He was here. I brought him in this morning. Yeah. He's in the building. I have been busy, and I have not even been in the studio. It's Jared Woods. It isn't me. It's not me. I promise. It isn't me. It's Chris. It's Chris. I know it's not you, Mike. Mike, did you eat him? You ate him, didn't you? No, I didn't. Couldn't help yourself, could you? You're like the big bad wolf. What's a wolf? I don't usually eat. I don't usually eat old.
Raw-ish. That's been carried around. Usually. I say usually because, you know, sometimes. Well, he's here somewhere because his carrying case is here. And I will find out. Don't look at me like that. Jay. Whoever did it is going to have to do something bad. Let's turn the lights off for a minute and then turn them back on when Ballin's back. All right. That's fine with me. Turn them off, Woods. Okay. Why do I feel like Jay's going to have his pants down? Ballin'. I don't know. I don't know. Is it a magic trick? Okay. Now's the chance to return him. Ready? On. Three, two, one. I still get the feeling he has him. No ballin'. Jay has him. Jay! Jay was ballin'. Has anyone seen ballin'? See? See, he just wants to use that line. I said all along. I want him back. Has anybody seen Ballin? You can't just grab somebody's kid. I want him back. At some point this morning, Jay will come in and it'll be very clever. Will it? Very subtle. I told you. Yes. He's probably in the female's bathroom on the toilet. Yeah. He's somewhere where I'll find him. Yes. Woods got to play this weekend with Gilby Clark from Guns N' Roses, Eric Turner from Warren. Yeah. Wow.
Freaking sang ever long in front of a crowd. Yep. That's so badass. Yeah, it was an awesome, awesome day. Were you just in awe all day long? I was, man. And I started, the first song I did was Plush by SDP. And I was playing with the guys from old school. And the guy's guitar goes out. And I mean out. It was acoustic guitar. So I am acapella. Oh, wow. Singing. And I closed my, I had my sunglass on because it was really bright. Hallelujah. I just closed my eyes, and I just powered through it. And there's video of it. It's on my page of me doing plush. So then later I go up and do Everlong, and that sounded really good, I thought. The whole band with live drums, everything. So then Gilby and Eric show up. They do a warrant set. Eric does. Yeah. Gilby comes up. They do It's So Easy by Guns N' Roses. Then they pull me on stage for Knocking on Heaven's Door. Oh, my gosh. I got the mic like this, and I'm looking over, and there's Gilby Clark just playing and me and him are singing. I'm like, oh, wow. You're looking over at Gilby Clark. From GNR. And you're playing Knocking on Heaven's Door. Now, let's rewind three years when you were on the phone over at Reach Local. You probably never envisioned yourself looking over at Gilby Clark. Never.
Never, ever. What a trip. So then Eric comes on stage, and there's like 20 of us on stage, and I just grab the tambourine, and we do rock and roll by Led Zeppelin. Oh, my gosh. And it was a really cool day, and everyone was so cool and nice. I'm over with Eric Turner, and did you know Warrant? They have their own wine. No. It's called Warrant Red. So I'm with him, and we go over to the booth, and he's like, yeah, you got to try the Warrant Red. So I'm like, all right. So I have a Coors Light cup. I'm drinking Warrant Red with Eric Turner. They have rat. It's called Body Talk Chardonnay. It was awesome, dude. It was so crazy. The dude from Rat was supposed to be there, too, but he got pneumonia. Pneumonia. Yeah, so he didn't make it, but. We were sitting backstage. We had a trailer. So we were just hanging out, jamming and talking music. It's pretty rad. I called it on stage. I said, thank you guys for letting me come to Rockstar Fantasy Camp. Because that's what it was for me. How many people were there? The first set, the first song I played, like 30. The last set, like...
A bunch, hundreds of people. And it was, I'm on stage going, oh, wow, there's a lot of people here. That's right. That's cool. It was so fun and help ride. It was such a successful event. And it was awesome, man. Absolutely awesome. The nicest guys. 570-1949 is our number. You can also text 949mikey at gmail.com. Boy, Tim Tebow sure did crap the bed. I mean, it's just getting worse and worse for Tim Tebow. That was ugly, dude. Gosh, darn. Dismantled. A couple of fumbles, return for touchdowns, a pick six. Brutal, dude. Brutal, brutal, brutal. It's too bad. 18-39 for 172. They lost 45-10 to the Lions. Let's see. Scariest jobs in America. We were talking about this. I thought that it was going to be stuff like mortician. Which actually was number seven. Turned out mortician was the seventh scariest thing that you could do. Cemetery worker. Tenth. People are most afraid of jobs that will kill them. So bomb squad tech was number one. And number two was high rise window washer. Zero percent chance. Which L.O.B. did say that is a scary job.
You said you would do it. Yeah, it seems safe to me. I don't hear it in the news a lot that those guys are dying. No. You know, you're safe. I think people are just afraid of heights. I wonder if they get good pay because they're doing that. You'd have to think so. And then being in the military came in third. Really? Yeah, because, you know, right now especially. You never know. That scares the heck out of me. Followed by Miner. Not minor like words. I mean minor like you're in a mine. Oh, yeah. That's scary. And then after that was police officer. I couldn't do any of this. Nope. No. I could wash windows all day long, but not a police officer or military. Oh, wuss. I bet a fireman's pretty scary. Wouldn't that be scary running into a burning building? Dude, we went to the fire station with the kids on Saturday. Did they love it? They loved it. And while we were there, they got a call. No. They said that rarely happens. Usually it's pretty quiet around there. We were there, and you hear, and the thing come on, the lady says some stuff, and these dudes were like, I mean, probably 20 seconds. 20 seconds they were in that thing and gone. You're right. It's Chula Vista, right? Yeah. I'm doing a shift there with our friend Zach. Yeah, I'm doing a 24-hour shift there at some point. I can't wait.
I cannot wait. I get to be fireman for a day. Wow. Gets real into fantasy camps. Yeah, I guess so. Were the firemen sober at this point? Because we played golf with all this firemen on Friday. Did you? There was not a sober guy in the house. No. They were just drinking it up out on the course. Oh, my gosh. They were hammered. It was hysterical. It was hysterical. The group behind us, the firemen, our friend Zach, they were in full tuxedos with top hats. Oh, wow. Playing golf. Yeah. Woods sent me a message that while they were out there. Jay, our good friend Jay, said that he thought that it might be fun for he and his wife Kim and Woods and his wife Jamie to take a trip together and go and do like the zipline type of thing. Oh, yeah. And he said that he thought that it might be fun for the four of them to stay at a, quote, bread and breakfast. Well, I had had Jaeger at that point. Yes, he had. He was all over his shirt, too. Oh, gosh. My goodness. Bread and breakfast. Yeah, I would. Bread and breakfast. Well, stay at what I'm bread and breakfast. Bread and breakfast. I almost died. Oh, my gosh. What about the other one? Yeah, the other one. The other one was, I forget. The Vietcon. Yeah, the Vietcon. Oh, boy. My man Jay was on one. My man. My man.
It was so great. We talked about it last week. The smoking ad that Herman Cain put out. Well, it was for the internet. It went viral. And he was on, this weekend he was on Face the Nation. And he got hammered for it. And he had to turn around and, what do they call it? Turn tail? Oh, he turned tail. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Who knows it was dumb. You'll hear it coming up. I love this guy. Name that tune that is themed around Halloween. Is it Scary Movies? Scary Movies. Scary Movies. So call us right now, 570-1949, if you would like to play. Word of the day is basement. When you hear me work that into a sentence between now and ten, make sure that you are caller nine. You get a four-pack of tickets to SeaWorld San Diego, and you get to see silly and spooky shows. Like Pirates 3D. Take the kids. We still haven't found Ballin', by the way. No. No Ballin'. That's because Jay has not given him up yet. It's not true. Jay has stolen L.O.B.'s egg baby Ballin'. My child. Child. Yeah. I have not. It's egg napping. I have not. It's an egg napping. I'm not responsible. Herman Cain. GOP candidate. Clown. And...
You know, newcomer really on the scene. And he ran a viral video that showed his campaign manager at the very end smoking a cigarette. It was the opposite of organic, meaning that it just sort of happened while they were filming. It was a planned out thing where they said, hey, you smoke. Let's depict you just like you are. Let's not change you and have you smoke. Not thinking to themselves. Oh, smoking kills people. As the president, we should be against things that kill people. Or let's say that we're not against them, but maybe we just don't discuss them or in any way condone them. And so he went on Face the Nation, and Bob Schieffer wanted to ask some questions about it.
I just have to ask you, what is the point of that, having a man smoke a cigarette in a television commercial for you? One of the themes within this campaign is let Herman be Herman. Mark Block is a smoker, and we say let Mark be Mark. That's all we're trying to say because we believe let people be people. He doesn't deny that he's a smoker. Are you a smoker? No, I'm not a smoker. Why not say that? And by the way, I don't care that Mark Block is a smoker. So if you're trying to send me the message that he's a smoker and he's just a normal guy and it's okay that he smokes, hey, it could be okay that he does shots of whiskey too. I don't give a crap. And I don't need to know that that's a part of your deal. Otherwise, just say it. Just go, hey, man, Americans have the right to do whatever they want. They have a right to choose whatever they want. I'm fine with that. Who wouldn't be, you know, for that? This is stupid. Move. But I don't have a problem if that's his choice. So let Herman be Herman. Let Mark be Mark. Let people be people. This wasn't intended to send any subliminal signal whatsoever. But it does. It sends a signal that it's cool to smoke. No, it does not. Mark blocks smoke. It sends a signal that you're okay with it, which, by the way, you are. That's your point. Your point is, that's him. I'm okay with it, which is okay in and of itself.
I got no problem with that. You got to think, you got to fast forward the tape, dude. At the end of it, what does it look like? Oh, Americans are going to love this. You know, the next president of the United States says categorically, if you're a person and you're a person that smokes, go for it. Why not just not say it? Obama wasn't proud of the fact that he smoked. In fact, he tried to hide it. He did his best to hide it. That's all that ad says. We weren't trying to say it's cool to smoke. You have a lot of people in this country that smoke. But what I respect about Mark as a smoker, who is my chief of staff, he never smokes around me or smokes around anyone else. Say that. Ding dong. He goes outside. He smokes on television. Well, he smokes on television. But, you know. Not in front of me. Missed the mark. Oh. Definitely strange. Oh, weird. I don't get as up in arms as some about it, but I think it's, you know, because I've seen it on, saw it on a bunch of movies, a bunch of shows this weekend. I mean, that was a web video. Hey, man, you were the guy that convinced me. You said you started smoking because you saw Kevin Bacon do it in Footloose, and it was cool, and you liked it, and you said, I don't know what it is, but I want some of that. I think it was drinking. I think it was beer. But I started smoking because of my uncle.
But the move that I wanted to do was Kevin Bacon's move. Drag, drink, blow out the smoke. I thought that looked cool. Well, it did. Yeah, it did. But that's the reason that they stopped it. Because they thought, oh, this could have a poor effect on kids. What if the president, your future president, just don't do it. I don't care if people smoke. Just if you're going to be the president, don't make it a focus. Yeah. So he had to back up. Have you ever thought of just saying to young people, Don't smoke. 400,000 people in America die every year from smoking related. I will have no problem saying that. As a matter of fact. Well, say it right now. Young people of America, all people, do not smoke. It is hazardous and it's dangerous to your health. Don't smoke. I've never smoked and I have encouraged people not to smoke. Yeah, I totally get that. Herman, that's totally what I get from your campaign. And this is a GOP guy, by the way. I'm GOP. It isn't like I'm railing against the other guys. There's a guy in my party. He's in your camp. I just think it's stupid. It's not a cool thing to do. How many people smoke? 400,000 people die each year. Oh, die. Wow. That's a ton of people. It's almost a half a million people. Natural selection, guys. Oh, the weakest survival of the fittest. Exactly. Fittest.
And that's not what it was trying to say. Smoking is not a cool thing to do. You're not monsters. Hey, I don't think you're monsters. Don't you? You just want to die? Yeah. Yes. Knock yourself out. It's your God-given right. It's your country. Knock yourself out. But if you run for president, don't do stupid stuff. I think he thought there was going to be a ton of people on his side like, look, he just, you know, enough of this PC crap. Let's all just be who we are. And that's me. Hey, I say enough of this PC crap. I really do. First of all, I ain't running for president. I'm just a talk show host. It's a comedy show, by the way. It's comedy. I ain't running for president. What if I ran for president and I'm like, hey, you know, I got my chief of staff. I have Woods. I got Woods as my chief of staff. Now, the deal is that porn is legal in this country. So Woods is in an El Paso motel room. We're shooting him. He's sitting on the side of the bed. And in the background is the hardest core porno. Now, this isn't going to be on television. It's only going to be online. Okay? And Woods goes, I am the campaign manager, Mike Esparza. And I just want to say he believes in lower taxes. He believes that businesses should thrive.
He believes there should be less government. And then he turns around and looks at the TV. And then he looks back and he goes, oh, yeah. Real good. Creepy. Wow. We should actually do that video. That's pretty funny. He's getting it real good, isn't he? I mean, you know. It's stupid. It's just stupid. Like, okay, you watch porn. Get out of my face with it. It's definitely stupid. Quit blowing smoke in my face. An El Paso motel. Dirty. Just one hand in my face. You filth? Wood paneling. You filthered? Hey, he does it. What do you want from me? That's what he does. That's my guy over there. That's my guy. That's my main guy. Yeah, look at him. Let's see. Black socks up to his knees. All right, no more visuals. Just boxers on. That's it. No, black socks, but he's got those suspenders on the socks. And a dirty tank top. And an old pair of gray sweatpants folded on a chair. That he had taken off. Yeah. How did those suspenders work? I don't know. Where did they attach? To your boxers? No, no. It was like around the calf. Yeah. Oh, around the calf. And it was real tight. And so it would hold your socks up. Dude. Oh, yeah. Yeah. How awful were socks back then?
That you had to have suspenders to hold them up. If you didn't, they fell. Where's my freaking sock suspenders? No elastic. No elastic. Yeah, they're just like, it would be like cutting a sleeve off a long sleeve shirt and trying to put it on. I mean, is there anything more sexual, perverted looking than dude with boxers? And suck suspenders. That guy's a sex pervert. Big time. Big time. He is a sex pervert. 570-1949. All right, we're going to do Name That Tune, Scary Movies. And you have to pick me, Woods, or L.O.B. M1 Dan from Oceanside. Who do you want? No, I'll pick Withy. You got it. Hang on the line. M1 Bud from San Marcos. Who do you want? All right, hang on. And M1 Uniform Man from Escondido. You got L.O.B. He wants L.O.B. You want L.O.B.? He wants L.O.B. All right, let's turn on our buzzers. I think Mike's going to kill this one. The guy's a movie aficionado. Well, you too. Yeah, but scary movies, not so much. I haven't seen a lot of 80s stuff. It depends on what era we're talking about. It's the 70s. I'll probably do well. How about you, L.O.B.? Where are you with scary movies? I watch a lot of scary movies. That's one of her things. It's one of my genres. Today's prize is Hulk Hogan's main event for Xbox Kinect, the first wrestling game for Xbox Kinect. Everybody calm down.
Just calm down. Be friends. Everybody just be cool. All right. We have to get the drop of Samuel L. Jackson going, just be cool. Be cool. I love that. We got to get that. I love that. All right. We have buzzers. We can buzz in. Uh-oh, Jay. What's going on? Oh, wow. Everything went down. All his screens just fell. My screens just fell. They weren't tightened up. Apparently. Oh, wow. Okay. Can you do it like that? It's a lot lower. All right. I'll fix it during the break. You can sit. Are you ready, L.O.B.? Yes. All right. Here we go. All right. Here we go. Looks like Miguel. John Carpenter's The Thing. Oh, no. Excuse me. I said it wrong. It's Halloween. Okay. Sorry. I just said it wrong. You were close. I mean, I knew what it was. I said it wrong. I don't know why I said The Thing. I don't know why I said The Thing. It's Halloween. I'll give you that one. You get that one. It's one freebie. Here we go. Darn it. Who was that, Mikey? Yes. Mikey. Nightmare on Elm Street. That was Freddy Krueger. Right. Well played. Here we go. Woods. That's Silence of the Lambs. I don't think you hit your buzzer, Woods. Don't worry about it.
Coffee almost came out. Coffee almost came out. He'd have to see Woods. He slaps the buzzer 15 times. He gets so into it. That thing is $100. Yeah. Why would you do that? Here we go. Oh, you SOB. Poltergeist. Gosh darn it. All I heard was that Jerry Goldsmith. That's right. Oh, that is Jerry Goldsmith. Yes, it is. For a second I thought, oh gosh, and then I realized I've been had. I've been had. I've been had. You've just been revealed as a nerd. Some of Goldsmith's best ones. Finally. He also did Alien. He's Gene Siskel. Rest in peace. Here's The Shining.
Chair throw. Chair throw. My buzzer. Johnny, it's my buzzer. I'm going to beat mine up. Okay. Here we go. Dang it. Woods, the sixth. Dang it, Woods. Dang it. Woods is making a comeback. Okay, here we go. You guys are tied. There's no comeback. You guys are tied. The comeback's complete. Oh my gosh. The comeback is complete. Here we go. Oh, gosh. Dang it. The Blair Witch Project. Wow. Oh, man. Gosh. That was quick. I'm so scared right now. That's the scene. That's exactly it. Big old boogers hanging out of her nose. Snot. Here we go. Did you hear that? Mikey. An American werewolf in London. Whoa. That's impressive. That is impressive. Holy smokes. I thought I was going to go for a lot longer. Nope.
Directed by the guy that directed Thriller from Michael Jackson. Alright, we got it. Here we go. You start to play it, and it's like somebody's nightmare. Yes, Mikey. Final Destination? Dang it. I shouldn't have done that. Woods, Woods, Woods. Go ahead, Woods. The Ring? Yes! Dang it! That's a two-point swing. You've got to give L.O.B. a chance, so when we get close to the end... We are. We're close to the end. We've got two remaining. What's the score? Mike, three. Woods, five. Me, none. Okay, these next ones are three-pointers. All right. Here we go. Stop! Stop! Texas Chainsaw. Wow! Damn it! How did you do that? Here we go. Dude, I've seen these movies a billion times. Six to five, Mike. Here we go. Last one. Get away from her, you bitch! Oh, wow. Aliens. I believe it's alien. Nope. That was the second one. That was definitely the second one. I don't know. That was domination. Oh. That was insane. Tried to make you. Close. M1. Bud, are you there? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. We just won you what? What did I get? He won the Hulk Hogan's main event for Xbox Kinect, the first wrestling game for the Xbox Kinect.
Available at Best Buy and GameStop. Be cool. Be cool. Everybody be cool. Be cool, honey bunny. Honey bunny. Yeah. Thank you, honey bunny. Tell her to be cool. Tell that me to be cool. One of the greatest opening scenes of a film ever. Be cool, honey bunny. What's up? What? What? What? I don't know. Oh, you have the one. Oh, I'm still. I still. I haven't put them on hold. Okay. You ever see Pulp Fiction? I did. I don't have to memorize, but I did see it. I don't think it resonates with women like it does with dudes. No, it's a great movie. It was one of those movies for me that was more than that. I wanted to stay and watch it again when it ended. Wow. I didn't like it the first time I saw it. Are you kidding? That's the weird thing. And then I really got into it. Really got into it after a couple times. Oh, man. First time I saw it, I was like, oh boy. You know, there's some scariness even to Pulp Fiction. Oh, dude. The gimp scene? Who comes up with that? Twisted Deviant. Oh, yeah. I'm trying to think of the song. It's funny and weird and brilliant and scary. Yeah, Quentin Tarantino will never be that brilliant. And I think the Kill Bill movies were pretty good. But nothing will come close to it.
And Glorious Bastards was good. It was. It reminded me of Pulp Fiction a lot because the dialogue was really strong. What a dialogue in Pulp Fiction. I watched it the other day. It's incredible. It's one of the most incredible movies. Hey, Mike, do you know what they call a quarter pounder with cheese in Paris? What? They call it a royale with cheese. LLB hates when we do movie scenes. Understandably, so does my wife. They don't know what the metric system is over there. Did you guys know that in Amsterdam you can get a beer in a movie theater? And I'm not talking about no paper cup. I'm talking about a glass of beer. It makes her so nervous. Not nervous. Just annoyed. My wife's the same way. Mine too. Because that's all we do. That's all we do. Let's see. Jay and Kim have been married for 24 years. Today. What? How's that? 24 years. Next year is your silver anniversary. Your kids have got to get you something made of pure silver. Really? Yes. We had to when my parents had their 25th. Now, when they had their 50th, we didn't get them anything made of gold.
That's not very nice. Jerks. Dude, my anniversary's this week, too. Is it? That's insane. I didn't know that. Congratulations, Jay. How many years for you? Four years on Wednesday. Really? Yeah. That's cool. Why Halloween, Jay? Why not? Yeah, why did you guys pick that? It made it easier to remember when we got married each year. It kind of came around. It's like, hey, it's Halloween. I admit it. It's tough to remember. Hey, the crazy thing was is that we thought, hey, Halloween, it's always a party. Then we have kids, and then you never get to celebrate your anniversary on your anniversary. Smart by Jay. He did it on purpose. Now he didn't have to buy gifts. See, I was even cheap then. Now, what kind of wedding did you have? We just took off. We didn't tell anybody. Weird. But we did do it at our church. We did it at my family church. But there was no one in there? Just two of our friends. Oh, wow. Yeah. So we did it on the sly. We even went in and did the classes with the preacher and all that kind of stuff. Were your parents upset that they didn't get to see your wedding? No. I mean, they'd seen three weddings. They paid for three weddings already. So my sisters, they were fine. That's what me and Rebecca did. We went to Maui. We were supposed to get married in a big to-do. And it rained here the day that we were supposed to get married. Wow. So I'm glad we didn't. Would it have been outdoors? Yeah. Supposed to be.
So it would have been really bad. So did you guys just decide to take off before the date came? Or did you cancel everything that was going to happen? We canceled it. Did your family know? Mm-hmm. You just decided to go get maoied? Yeah, we decided we were getting maoied. And we went and did it. And then when we came back, we had a reception for the family. Yeah. And they came. And they got to see us in a suit and a dress. I wish we would have taken better photographs. Our photographs are all crap. Yeah, because they were taken with a Polaroid. Exactly. Exactly. You got to do better than the Polaroid. There was no cell phones back then. No, no cell phones. That's a true story. There's barely even cameras. L.O.B. had a lot of different costumes because one of the costumes was the basketball under the shirt, two basketballs under her shirt. That was one of your costumes. Another one of her costumes, it was Supergirl. Yes. Which you ran a 5K in. Yeah. Wow. Long sleeve velvet is not the most conducive to staying cool. Oh my gosh. I must have been so hot in that. I was hot, but there were people that there was a full Batman costume. There was a two-parter. These people were a camel.
Oh, boy. And they ran that one? The entire time. It was pretty amazing. I saw your boyfriend, Matt Commerce, with you as you came across the finish line. Did he do that with you? Yes, he did. What is 5K? How long is that? It's 3.2 miles. Oh, please. Couldn't ride a bike for a 5K. No. I promise you. No. We had some M1s out there with us. It was pretty fun. That's pretty cool. It was a lot of fun. You didn't win the race, did you? No, I wasn't really competing. Did a Kenyan win? Doesn't a Kenyan win every race? Not this one. Did I already play Simple Minds? No, I think you skipped it because you thought you did. Yeah, I should have done this. Where's some spooky music? No spooky music. I'm a Halloween grouch. I am too. Now, when we come back... Made me laugh out loud. It made me laugh out loud. Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake did Michael Jackson impressions, but you really only hear Justin doing it. He freaking sounds just like him and is saying funny things as Michael Jackson. Woods is going to hate it. He hates Michael Jackson. Yeah, you do. Why do you hate so much, man? Just trying to make you laugh, Woods. That's all.
Why are you squinting? Why are you cringing? You thought it wasn't funny. The Mikey Show coming up in minutes. If you quit, it's going to follow you for the rest of your life. M1 Lily, are you there? Hello. You called AIS, and what happened? Well, I called them because I called my regular car insurance to pay my six-month premium, and it almost doubled before I even, I don't even exactly know why. Once I found out, it seemed to be a big surprise to me as to why it increased. Uh-huh. So I remember hearing AIS all the time on the Mikey show, so I went ahead and gave him a call, and within like half an hour, AIS found a company that had the same coverage. Uh-huh. half the price of the new premium of my old insurance. So they ended up saving me like $600 in 25 minutes. That's amazing. And that is a real story. And the number is 1-800-777-4AIS, 1-800-777-4247. Were you kind of kicking yourself like, why didn't I do this sooner? insurance i didn't know about ais at all and then all of a sudden i called the agent just to pay my bill and out of nowhere got this increase and i thought yeah why don't i do this sooner that's awesome lily thank you so much for the call we appreciate it thank you

I don't like thick fry. Lauren. I'm a lyricist.
Oh, I want filth. I want straight filth as filthy as it can get. And Jay. I've got bees in my attic right now. On FM 94.9. Alluded to it earlier when we were talking about Herman Cain. And that is that 57% of dudes and 71% of chicks say smoking is uncool. Across all age groups. 57% of dudes. 71% of chicks. Smoking is very uncool, they said. 61% of people under 34 say they've never smoked. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? I'm going to fill you in on the biggest upset of the day yesterday, but first I wanted to tell you that sports is brought to us today by Dave and Busters. Eat, drink, play football. Come out tonight from 5 to 7 for the Chargers Chief game.
Chargers-Chiefs game. Your boy Woodsy will be out there shooting some hoops. There you go. Eating some sliders. Weird. Maybe some pumpkin cheesecake. Maybe some pumpkin cheesecake. You never know what the night may bring. Well, this game yesterday is a game that both Mike and I were pretty confident that the New Orleans Saints would win. I think everyone was. Yeah, it was against the St. Louis Rams. The Rams were 0-6. They looked absolutely terrible. And the Saints were coming off a 62-7 win against the... Jacksonville Jags and the Jaguars. Wow. Oh, that was overcompensating. Overcompensation. Overcompensation. Oh, wow. That was tough. The Jaguars. I can't say that word. Jaguars. There you go. The Jaguars. There you go. So the Saints go out and they freaking lose to the St. Louis Rams. My quote was. I would bet my house on this game. Your boy would be homeless today. Here is Saints coach Sean Payton talking about the loss. Disappointing. We got beaten all three phases. Got outrushed. A lot of pressure on the quarterback. The turnovers. And this will be an important week for us. See how we respond. He sounds stunned. It's disappointing. And it starts with me.
You know what I'm getting sick of? Huh? The Miami Dolphins head coach Spagnuolo getting angry at the press after every one of their losses. Is it Spagnuolo? Sperano. Tony Sperano. Tony Sperano. Yeah. After every loss, he's up there in his sunglasses. Yeah. He has like an eye thing. Okay. He has to wear it. He's in his sunglasses and he's angry at the press. At them. Yes. For asking. For asking questions. And he said, call it whatever you want to call it. You know what? Whatever you want to print. But let me tell you something. Those guys back there, they got a heart. That bit. That bit. A heart bit. Okay, great. Yeah, they have so much heart, they're 0-6. 0-7. A lot of heart. Don't get mad. What are you so mad about? Yeah, that's their job. They got to ask questions. They got to ask you questions. Yeah, call it whatever you want to call it. Well, we call it a loss. Hey, you suck. Yeah. Also, in the college football poll, Stanford has moved up to number five. after beating Southern Cal in one of the greatest college football games ever. It was triple overtime. 56-48. It was insanity on Saturday night. LSU was 1, Alabama 2, Oklahoma State 3. All four teams are 8-0. This is Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake doing a history of rap. Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake. They're brilliant together. They're good.
Now, here is their thing doing Michael Jackson. We turned into, in Bust Move, we turned into Michael Jackson. We turned into Michael Jackson all of a sudden. He was not on that song at all. No, that was not. Morse Kolda. The song never came out. Wow. You make me sweat. You make me work too hard. Oh, man. We have literally wasted America's time. When I heard him...
seeing Michael Jackson saying Starbucks gift card. That's genius. Killed me. That's genius. Killed me. I was like, I'm supposed to be that funny. You're on my show. You're on my show. Get out of here. Get out. The two of them in the Bee Gees skit, the SNL skit. Barry Gibb Talk Show. It's one of the greatest. That's awesome. Their D and a B is real good. Hey, speaking of, they're going to bring back In Living Color. It's coming back. Yes. It's coming back, and it's going to be... Now, from what I read, it won't be the old cast. It's going to be him finding new young talent. It's not any of the Wayans boys? Well, it's the original Wayans that's actually brought the idea back. Kenan. Kenan. Yeah, Kenan Ivory Wayans. And he signed on to be the host. And they haven't said yet whether Damon and Sean and Kim and Marlon will be on the show. But I don't know what they're doing. So maybe they will. Maybe J-Lo will be a fly girl. Well, J-Lo. And they haven't said if the fly girls will be back. They haven't said that yet. But J-Lo used to be a fly girl. But I got to figure that Jamie Foxx is busy. Yes. And bigger than that. Jim Carrey. Yeah. A little bigger. Is bigger than that. But it is going to come back.
Went off the air in 94. That's crazy. That was like my favorite show. It was a funny show, dude. Love that show. Fire Marshal Bill. Oh my gosh. I was kind of out on Fire Marshal Bill. I was too. Because everybody loved it. I liked Wanda. Was it Wanda? Oh yeah. Jamie Foxx with the cross eyes. I hope I didn't have a stroke and I don't know it because my tongue feels tongue tied. I get that. I'll get a little lighter. I get that too. She's fine, huh? I mean, seriously. That was you this weekend. Yeah, I'll be in the middle of talking and I'll notice that I'll go like... Welcome to my world. She's fine, huh? You're just getting into, like, dadville. Yep. Maybe that's it. Welcome to the duck side. You get the thick tongue, pal. Everything just breaks down. Hey, if you're a young person, that's what you have to look forward to. Anyway, testimony goodbye. Today's Halloween and tomorrow...
will be okay to put Thanksgiving, start talking about Thanksgiving. So excited. Me too. Do you guys have ghetto Thanksgiving stuff? When I was a kid, my mom and dad did a lot of the ghetto stuff. Like stovetop? Oh, no, I don't mean cooking because the ghetto cooking is the greatest. In fact, I wouldn't have it any other way. But no, what I'm talking about is... Plastic cornucopias. Oh, yeah. Just look like crap. Those things are such turds. Wax, fruit, and vegetables. Yes. Cornucopia. The big horn-o-plenty. Yeah, a corn. We have that. A bunch of plastic apples falling out of it. Yeah, exactly. And then the plastic leaves on a vine. The apples are always all beat to hell and cracked. Yeah. And you're like, well, first of all, Mom, those are 30 years old. Right. Second of all. Really? Yeah. And third of all. I mean, you never thought to update this stuff? Never? The turkey that opens up like a disco ball. Yes. Oh, my gosh. And it makes the sound when you open it, and you've got to clip the end. Oh, my gosh. But you've lost the clip. Now it's just a paper clip. It's right now. We have that. You're like, hey, Mom, for $3, you can replace all 45 pounds of this stuff. Yes. And this horn of plenty has seen its better days. Right. Okay. Hey, Mom.
How much do you think we could get for that at a garage sale? How much do you think that would rake in? You can't sell memories. Well, you know what you also can't sell? Plastic cornucopias. You would have to put a sign out that says free, and you'd still be bringing it in at the end of the garage sale. On the house. Yeah. The Mexicans that show up at five in the morning, they would be like, Gines. Gines. Gines. Gines. It's dirty. The apples all cracked. Have they not gone to the Z Gallery? Have you seen this new stuff, man? I was like, crap. Pirouan? Pirouan? We have Thanksgiving like that. We have Christmas like that. Oh, the Christmas is the worst. Christmas, ghetto decorations. The plastic nativity set that lights up. Yes. Gangster. Popcorn on the Christmas tree. Have you seen that bit?
Oh, that's the worst, too. I have Gumby that my dad drilled a hole in his head, and he hangs from the Christmas tree every year. Is he big? Your dad took a Gumby and a drill to it? He drilled his head out and put a fishing line through it, so every year he's on the Christmas tree. Oh, my. It's tradition. He did it since I was a kid. We have a nativity set that I bought up at Big Bear last year, and it's a nice one. It's not all plasticky. And I think that Rebecca every year, even she, is like, oh, boy, with this thing. I put this out. Because it looks a little, like, sticky. I feel like only the church should be doing that. Yeah, Nativity? I really do. My parents put it up every year next to a snowman and a Santa Claus that both light up and were made by the same company. In the yard? Yeah. Oh, you bought one in the yard. You just got the little one. You just had the little one. Oh, you just had the little one. Yeah.
Oh, yeah, theirs is in the yard. Oh, my. Because we have a little one. Half the neighborhood. But a big one, no way. Half the neighborhood has the exact same nativity set. They've had it since 1974. My nativity set is the size of a laptop computer. Oh, that's cute. And it sits on top of our, you know, like kitchen island. You should put it inside the house, yeah. Outside, though, I've never, I didn't grow up in a house where we ever did lights. We never did anything in the yard. My mom would try and my dad was like, I'm out. And then I became that way. I have to do the light. Like, when I lived at home, every year. It was like the National Lampoon's when he gives them a ball of lights. That was me. And I had to check every bulb. My parents have a house with, you know, five bedrooms in it. Big house. They hang the plastic wreath from every single window. Oh, my. With the fish. And it's a plastic one, so it goes against. You're trying to sleep, and it goes against the glass. Oh, yeah. With a light, the fake candle. In every window. You think Pier 1 Rebecca would ever go for something like that? Oh, man. She is the epitome. She didn't like that stuff. And as a result, I don't. And I didn't grow up with it much either. You know what I think the most ghetto thing in the world is? Freaking Tinsel. Tinsel. What? Yeah, Tinsel's gangster. What's wrong with Tinsel? It's gangster. Let me tell you. Even Tony Montana would be like, that's so gangster, man.
Oh, my gosh. What do you guys just have, like, the bows and the exact same color ornaments? Beautiful. It's gorgeous. Gorgeous. Yeah, we have that. Perfect. Have a little fun. Really? With a disco ball on the tree? Yeah. It's fun. Oh, my gosh. You collect them over the years. Really? With the laundry clip reindeers that I made in second grade? Yes. Those are my favorite ones. Come on. Really? With R2-D2? Yes. The painted ornament? Mom. That I didn't even draw. My teacher did. Your teacher did it because you were too young. You put the one that doesn't look like a fun Christmas tree in the living room. And then you put the one for all the kids in the family room where the gifts go. I like a beautiful tree with gold and red ribbons and ornaments. It's beautiful. Nothing says cool like a piece of gingerbread painted with shellac. A piece of gingerbread that's 42 years old. The tree should be for the kids, not for the adults. Here's an ornament I got you, Mom. Third grade. I actually didn't have anything to do with it. I actually didn't have a nickel to my name because, well, I was in third grade. Yeah. Dad bought it for me. Every year you've got to bring it out and look at it, though. How about this one, L-O-B? You're in kindergarten. You come home with a little thing that says, I love you, Mom. Yeah. Love L-O-B. Love Lauren. L-O-B. Love Lauren. You know what Lauren did?
Lauren sat there as Miss McCormick. That's not true. You know, took a gingerbread and was like, look, Lauren, now let's write. And she took your hand and she actually spelled it in adult cursive. Yes. Not true. It's in calligraphy. You guys are cynical. I don't know of any second graders writing calligraphy. It's calligraphy. Hey, look, mom. Look what I did. Back on it years later, you're like. You guys are a bunch of scrooges. Yes. Maybe. Fair enough. A bunch of scrooges. Maybe. Fair enough. I accept it. You didn't do anything for Halloween. None of you dressed up. Nope. Isn't that kind of lame, L.O.B.? Yeah, 36. Come on, Pete. Grow up, Pete. Grow up, Peter Pan. Count Chocula? Come on. You have kids, Mike. You should always be dressing up. I know. I have no kids, L.O.B. Well, it was your idea to dress up and then you brought a sheet and took it off. It's a brilliant costume. Brilliant. When it's warm. It's brilliant. People loved that costume. You know what? And I need to get over this whole do it for your kids, Mike.
I need to get over that. You are over it. I'm not over it. You're carving a pumpkin today at three. Who else should you do it for if you're not going to do it for your kids? Oh, really? If I don't do it for my kids, they're going to be very selfish. Really? Are they going to be ruined? Absolutely. They'll think back. You signed up for this role. I didn't have a pumpkin. They'll be on a radio show and the rest of their... co-hosts will be like, and then remember when you would say, no, I never did that. We didn't have a normal childhood. My dad was busy laptopping. Yeah, my dad was all about himself. But my mom was great. Yeah, my mom was a sweetheart. We still visit her. Dad lives in a trailer down by the river. He's just living down there. Whatever. I think that kids don't care. We make them care. We force on them our junk. It's bonding time. Yeah. Yes. My kids love it to this day. Yeah. Jay still does it. Yeah. They all came over just for that. They were looking forward. When is it? When are we going to carve pumpkins, Dad? When are we going to do it? What's for dinner that night? Jay looked down at them with his blue shirt with a red S on it. Yes. And he said. Actually, he looked down over his...
prosthetic legs that he had as part of his gynecologist. Yes. Did you do that, Jay? You wore that costume in front of Jasper? No, I was a Viking for his carnival that he has at his school that we went to. The one that you wore last year? Super dad. Yes, and then I went to the Oxelage after that. The one that he wore last year made out of a bath mat. Yes. Homemade Viking costume. Viking comes up every so often. It's always in the garage. Such a kid guy. They just love you. You just do everything perfect. Yeah. Yes, he does. You just got to put effort into it. Yep. I went to a firehouse this weekend. It's true. All right. I'm carving a pumpkin today. There you go. Baby steps. You decided you were going to go trick-or-treating because Woods said that he would go along with you. Tricked you. And now Woods isn't going. I can't go. Are you still going to go? I have an appearance. I have an appearance. What do you want from me? Woods said something before thinking about what might be going on. I already told Jake. Go in your coffin. Go ahead. I told Jake. I told him. What time are you going? If we go at 3, I can go. What does it matter? Or if we go at 7.30, I can go. We'll go trick-or-treating with all the rest of the kids at 3. I'll make it up, too. Get Jake on the phone. Get Jake on the phone. Get Jake on the phone. I didn't know I had an appearance. I figured we would be off.
on Halloween, but apparently we're not. Oh, really? You thought it was a national? No! No mail on Halloween! No, clown. I thought my appearances would be done for Halloween. You said, I can play a doubleheader for the Tipsy Crows because my appearance is on Monday. I didn't say that till Friday. Why are you so anti-child? I love children, you know that. I just don't have any. Why do you hate? I love Jake. Jake singing Taylor Swift to you, singing mean. You're breaking my heart. Uncle what? Oh, my God. I hate you all. All right. Cancel my appearance, Adam. I'm going trick-or-treating. What? He'll be there tonight for the M1s. Just throwing basketballs. Just, you know, working hard, eating some pumpkin cheesecake. While you have wing sauce out of your mouth.
Think about this song and little Jake. Don't break my heart. Kicking the dirt going, man. He's waiting out front. Dylan loves Uncle Woods more than his own father. And, and, and, by the way, so I get the privilege going home today and saying, hey, buddy. I know, I told you. Gotta tell you something. We need Saturn music. What'll make him guilty? Nothing. What'll make him guilty? What song? What about Switchfoot or something? Oh, you monster, L.O.B. That's brilliant and yet monstrous. Cancel my appearance. I'm canceling. This is what I'm going to do. I'm going to go home. I'm going to go. Oh, my God. I'll play this. I'll go, Jake, you know how I told you that Uncle Woods was going to go trick-or-treating with you tonight? He'll say, yeah, Daddy, and he'll get all excited. Well, he won't either. Well, I'm sad. Oh, God, I know it. I'll say, I know, buddy, but Uncle Woods doesn't think about the consequences. You're killing me. Let's go at 7.30. Really? Hey, just because you can't stay up. I'll be there at 7.30. I'll take him out for round two. Your missus will be up, won't she? Oh. I have to have desperate times, pal.
Well, just know that there's one little kid out there, Woods, that just doesn't have his chaperone, his favorite guy. You know, this weekend, by the way, his hero. Well, this weekend he wore his Yankee t-shirt that Woods got for him that says number seven on the back. It says Jake and our friend Morgan over at the fire station. She's married to Zach, who's the fireman. She said. Did Uncle Woods get you that? He got this giant smile on his face. And he said, yes, he did. He's my boy. Bitch, you can't hear this song without thinking of that boy, huh? Should it be just as good if, like, I show up or something? Maybe Dom across the street will pretend to be Uncle Woods, you know? Maybe it is Halloween. Someone could dress up as Woods. Yes. He hates this. I hate it. I mean, there's nothing worse for this poor guy. Does anybody want my appearance? They can have it and I'll go. I'll give up the money. I didn't really tell him that you were. Oh, thank God. Thank God. Thank God. I would have canceled. I'm not kidding. You know I would have. He doesn't know.
Unless he's listening now. Yeah, now he does. He's like, Uncle Woods could have gone tonight? He said he can't tell you. What? Sure. 570-1949. Or text him, 949mikey at gmail.com. This is Bird from Bird's Surf Shed with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report for a Halloween morning. Boom. This is what we got out there in the water, too. Really weak. The small little remnant sessions out there out of the northwest-southwest combination. pretty much running in that ankle, maybe be high range possible waste highways that the area is most open to that more southerly small direction that still remains dominant, although it's on the taper off as well. Now the beautiful morning, though, wasted in terms of surf, just nice and clear out there. It's going to be a hot and warm one. No real wind to speak of either. You got time and nothing else to do. You could probably grab a lawn board and pick up a waiver to its beach break as that tide does fill in again, extreme tight swings will affect size and shape at all areas. But overall, it's looking pretty spooky out there. For up-to-the-minute surf report's forecast, go to surfline.com and for all your surfboard repair restoration needs. the competition will get harder because we're competing against. It basically is whose audience has more pull. Yeah. Because that's all everybody's doing is saying, hey, vote for us. That kind of bit. Get some breaking news in the sports world, my friend. What is it? Tony La Russa, the manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, is retiring today. The world champion, St. Louis Cardinals. Guy was going out on top. I think it's awesome. He's been in the major leagues for 33 seasons. And he said, hey, I'm calling it a day. That's all he wanted? Got a couple tastes. Wonder what you do. Gosh darn, it's going to eat him alive. When spring training starts, it's going to eat him alive. It probably will. I bet you he becomes a special advisor to somebody and gets a fat check to be a consultant or something. Guy's a great manager. I'll tell you what. I could see being in a house with a lake, freaking loons like on Golden Pond.
No, man. Saloons. Just going out in the morning putting on a vest that's got lures attached to it. Just going out there with a Gilligan hat. Real good. Some burritos Rebecca made for me. In a boat or on the dock? A boat. You're going to get in a boat. In the boat. In the boat. How else do you do it? I mean, you sit on the boat. No. Yeah, that's no fun, bro. Got to go where the fish are. A lot of fish congregate under the dock. That is no fun, Woodsy. Yeah. I like to fish off the dog. It's a blast. You ever done the boat bit? Hey, I used to have a motor, Woods. I used to have a motor. And I would go to this place called Loch Lomond. And you put your little motor onto a rented boat. It was small. And then you clamped it down and you would go out there. Never caught one fish. I never caught a single fish. I must have fished out there a year and a half. Not one. Not one fish. Motorboat? You play the motorboat? It's different. Different than what I was saying. Well, you were playing the motorboat. You were playing the motorboat. It was a motorboat, you know, but that was a different thing. I heard motorboat. I play the motorboat clip. That's how that works. You was the motorboat, son of a bitch. You old sailor, you. You old sailor, Mikey. Yeah, you old sailor. I was falling asleep this weekend, and in my thoughts, you know, between awake and asleep, I thought of calling.
Jay, an old salty dog. And I went... Somebody called him the old gray wolf. Yeah, they did. He posted the creepiest video known to man on his Facebook page. He's a creep. I actually thought about it for a second before I posted it. I was like, should I? Where's Ballin'? I don't have Ballin'. Yes, you do. I don't have Ballin'. Jay, where's Ballin'? I get blamed for all... She brought him in. This morning. There's no other explanation. I never saw a ball in this morning. Well, you're the boy that cries wolf, so, you know. Yeah, but you guys eat everything you put in your faces, so. There are omelets in here. Yeah, there are. All right. Bernie Madoff. Pop quiz. Who is he? L.O.B. He's the Ponzi scheme guy. That's right. That's right. This is his wife, Ruth Madoff. It's a tough name to live with. It sure is. Oh, my. Mike Wallace, CBS. Maybe go out on top. Maybe pull La Russa, it's called. Is this a 60-minute special from last night? It's just 60 minutes. Oh, well. There was a special they did on them. Is it? Yeah, I watched it last night. It was just 60 minutes, though. Yeah, it was a special on them.
Hey, is that a Three's Company special? No, it's just an episode of Three's Company. Yeah, Jack did his thing, and at the end of it, it was a misunderstanding. Jack had two dates. They were all at the same restaurant. Remember? It wasn't a special. No. He knocked over all the cooking. Remember that? Yeah, it was in the kitchen door slamming. Three's Company special. He fell on the couch. What's Three Company? Remember Mrs. Roper wanted to have sex, and Mr. Roper wouldn't? Yeah, it was a special. It was a Three Company special. Mr. Rober thought that Jack was gay. Yeah. It's the only reason he let him live with two girls. Right, because he thought he was gay. Right, and he used to do like Twinkle Toes thing. Mr. Furley, played by Don Knox, was also hysterical in Three's Comedy. He was. He's a landlord. I'm going to cut your nuts off. Wear them like a hat. You feel the shame? Of course I feel the shame. Barely walk down the street without worrying about people recognizing me. Excuse me. Aren't Ponce Ice King Bernie Madoff's wife? No, no. Someone else. Why do you have an accent? I'm your neighbor. I'm from Russia. How did you suddenly become from Russia? It's been a long weekend. Here she talks about when Bernie Madoff.
Actually admitted to the Ponsai scheme. He got a bunch of celebrities, by the way. Is it Ponsai or Ponzi? I say Ponzi. You're freaking me out. Whoa, whoa. Let's call it a Fonzie. A Fonzie scheme. Here he is. Her and the son. He called from the office and said, I'm coming home with the boys. I have something to talk about. Something to talk about. Little. What is it? Did you cheat on me? No. He came in. We went into a room. Oh, gosh. Four of us. And he said, I have a confession to make. Oh, my gosh. And she's, of course he cheated. That's what she, of course. I've been running a Ponzi scheme. She goes, what's a Ponzi scheme? What the hell is a Ponzi scheme? He said $50 billion. What, what? $50 billion. $50 billion. No, she had to have said million. Billion. 50?
billion dollars? How are you going to get there? All rich people. How about you get one billion and you're good? Look, look, it made my hands start sweating. 50 billion? Where do you put it? In a mattress? Everything I've been doing is all a big lie. He said the business is a Ponzi scheme and the firm is completely insolvent and I'm broke. And then he just started sobbing. Oh, wow. And I was shocked. I felt like my head exploded. I mean, I don't think if he had told me he was an alien, I could have been more surprised. Of course. His other son committed suicide. Brutal. How come? Was he involved? He was involved a little bit, and it was just devastating.
Actually, what I watched last night is he wasn't involved. Oh, he was not. He was not involved, but he just could not stay in the news. And they both had lawsuits brought against him. Both the boys had lawsuits brought against him just to keep trying to get some of them. So they were involved, but he didn't defraud people. They didn't know. They didn't know anything about it. They had their own company, but they got checked out. The PR about this, all the press just killed him. So here is, go ahead, Ellaby. I was going to say, it's not a very common last name. So I think he couldn't really escape it. Can't escape it. You're the Madoff kid. Yeah. You can't walk into a Vons in Ethiopia and be like, hey, here's my credit card. They're like, oh my gosh, Madoff. I'm the father of Madoff with the money. Madoff with the money. Here's Ruth talking about how her and Bernie considered the same thing. I don't know whose idea it was, but we decided to kill ourselves because it was so horrendous. Oh, wow. It was happening. We had terrible phone calls, hate mail, just beyond anything. And I said, I can't, I just can't go on anymore. That's when I packed up some things to send to my sons and my grandchildren. I had some...
Lovely antique things and things that I thought they might want. Aye, aye, aye, Bernie. Man. 50 bill. And it was, okay, so Larry King's money. And that's all I know. But I know that there was a bunch of celebrities. And Larry King. And I'm laughing, but I can't name you one more. I can't name another one. You can call us if you know. I don't know. I think the owner of the Mets was involved somehow. Big time. Dough. Feast on that. How he reeled everybody in. What's his elevator pitch? Well, and how about this? When you get to a bill, don't you go, all right. Yeah. I'm good. I'm good. I got a billion. No. Fifty. Fifty billion dollars. I think he had to keep getting people involved in it to keep the money coming back to people. So he would get somebody else in. He'd show these people a little bit of money, and they kept thinking that he was killing it. That's how it works. I don't even get how it works. No, me neither.
People had to keep investing. He had to get more people involved to kind of keep the money. Jay, you used to run a Ponzi scheme. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell us about your Ponzi scheme. Well, it was difficult, but if you guys give me $100 each, what I can do is I get two people to give you $200. So dumb. It's so ridiculous. People want that quick buck, man. Yeah, they do. I'm one of them. This is a Halloween email from M1 Sarah. Mikey, my roommate, her boyfriend, and some of our friends all decided we're doing a Halloween costume party this year. The theme is Jersey Shore. It doesn't seem that topical to me, but whatever. My group designated me to be Dina. I know you haven't seen the show, but Dina is the most unattractive of the group. No, she's not. I fought it, but my friends won't budge.
And one Sarah. Well, it's a matter of opinion. It's in the eye of the beholder. Wood says she's not. Now, Snooki, obviously, is number one. She gets the least amount of action. Dina? Like, dude action? Yes. Wiener time? Yes. Maybe it's because she just has standards. No. I've never seen it. Well, it's a matter of opinion. You can't just categorically go, Dina's the ugliest. Yeah, but what if somebody, you know, what if we were dressing up as something? As a group, and everyone's like, yeah, you know, they make you be the ugly guy or something. I don't think those people are ugly, though. I don't think those Jersey Shore people are ugly. Like, okay, all right, all right. If it was the Addams family, and you guys are like, hey, Mike, you obviously look like Uncle Fester. Yep. First of all, I'd be like, yeah, it's kind of true. I do have a bald head, you know? Right. What about the Brady Bunch? And they're like, you have to be Jan. I'm like, what? We were the Brady Bunches.
You want to be Marsha. Every girl. Yeah, but somebody's got to be freaking Jan. Somebody's got to be Jan. Someone wants to be either the pretty one or the cute, adorable one. You want to be plain Jane Jan. Plain Jan. Nobody really wants to be Cindy either. What reasonable girl wants to be Cindy? I'd rather be Cindy. Every girl wants to be Marsha. Yeah, Marsha's a little angel. She's not. Everybody wants to be Marsha. I don't know. They all look good. Oh, gross. Nobody goes. They're children. No, I just told you. We dressed up and all the girls looked great. Everybody, you know, dudes aren't fighting each other to be Mike Lookenland, the guy that played Bobby Brady. You just don't want to. Yeah. Hey, I got it. You're Sam the Butcher. Yeah, that's perfect. The old guy. It's identical Woods. Yeah, the dated Alice. Jay's Alice. Jay's Alice, yeah. And he took like this. Hey, I'm Sam the Butcher. Always sneaking her the meat. That's what he did. He'd come to the back door and have a package of meat. Once? No, every time. Woods, quit encouraging by making... He'd come to the back door and sneak her a package of meat.
He would, Mac. No, he didn't. Not once. Yeah, he did. It's a meat package, Mac. You get it? You dumb SLB. It's a log of salami. Yeah, Mac. She's at the back door and give her salami and pepperoni. And she'd be like, I don't want it. I just want to hold it. Mac! And he'd be like, take it. Take it, you wench! You gonna take it, girl? You gonna! You gonna take it? You gonna like it. That spicy tiger sausage. I made it myself. I ground it up. It's all enclosed in this casing. You get it, Mike? Yes, I do. Fat or sex, that's all he's got. Was there, there wasn't anybody ugly on Friends? If you decided you were gonna dress up as Friends, there's not an ugly one. No?
No. They're all good looking. Yeah, they were all good looking. The only deal with the Jersey Shore is they're all kind of slutty. There's two of them that are clearly good looking and then there's the two meatballs. Meatballs. That's what they call each other. Meatball. Snicky and Dina are both under five foot. They're like four or nine. Yeah, they're a meatball. Yeah, they're like a deuce, deuce and a half too. No, they're not. But they're known as the... The two... Portly. Yes. Or the lesser of the attraction. Chubby. Be objective. I've never seen the show, so without knowing their personalities, I go, Snooki's not ugly. She's hideous. I haven't seen the show, though. Nobody's going to look at Jeffrey Dahmer and be like, he's kind of cute, you know? You can just put a poofy wig on Garfield, and then there you go. There you go. Garfield's a cat. Come on. Give me something else. Jabba the Hutt. Jabba the Hutt is a Jabba, man. He's like a big old fat Jabba.
He's a creature. Danny DeVito. Yes, identical. But Danny DeVito is not good looking, and I know it. And I've been compared to him more times than I care to admit. By Jay. Yes. Yeah, my friend Lauren O'Brien laughs every time. A lot. She laughs. She does. No, I say Jay. No, you don't. And then I go, hee hee. It's a fake Jay. Say it again. J5701949. Who's Tanya Cooley of the real world? Do you know? The blonde girl that was always making trouble. Oh, really? From which season? I want to say Chicago. I don't know her. LB knows her trivia when it comes to that stuff. Yeah, I used to love the real world. Anyway, I'll tell you about what she is saying. And if you were to ask people...
Because people take winter vacations. If you were to ask people, well, what's your biggest concern? You would think it would be stuff like terrorism, you know, crime. It isn't. Top 10 things that were listed were number 10, getting a sunburn is what they're concerned about. Getting sick. Legit. It's a bummer on vacation. Legit concern. Absolutely. Number eight, not liking the resort. Another one. Number seven, running out of money. Big one. Number six, bad weather. Big one. I understand. Yep. Number five, unsatisfactory accommodations. Isn't that like not liking the resort? Isn't that identical not liking the resort? Yeah. Number four, missing a flight. That's the worst. That ain't me. That ain't me either. One time in my whole life. I don't know. Rebecca, too. L.O.B. Oh, I'll tell you. I did it twice in one day. Oh, my God. I wonder what happens up there. Because they're smart chicks, you know? They are very.
I was listening to my headphones right next to the gate. I just missed it. Oh, my gosh. Really? Yeah. You didn't notice all the people around you getting up? No. Because they stand in line for an hour before they freaking board. That's the new bit. Let me tell you. She can be sitting there and oblivious. Me, too. It's true. And oblivious to the world around me. Like, my friend Heather was walking out of the studio Friday, and Woods goes, Mike. And I looked up, and he pointed, and she was like, I was. I just wanted to say goodbye. Had no idea that she had been going, Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. No idea. If I'm reading an email, my ears close. It's a true statement. I can't hear. I'm just hyper-focused. Yes. Number three, losing luggage is a big concern. Gosh, what a beating. It's only happened a couple of times, but when it's happened to me, the airline brings it to the house. Number two, losing their passport. You'd be a real moron to do that. I wouldn't think about that at all. Woods said that knowing full well that I had an incident where I lost my passport. I didn't know that. I swear to God, I didn't know. You did? You would have to be one fat guy. I swear I didn't know you lost your passport. You lost it while you were overseas? No. Mexico? No, I lost it before we went on the trip, like a day before. No, no, no. I didn't lose it. I didn't bother to check. Right.
That's different than being on vacation and losing your passport. I want to know the worst part. What? The worst part is I knew and I ignored it. Oh. I thought it would go away. I thought it would go away. If I ignore it, it'll go away and I'll eventually have a passport. What did you do? I ignored it. And then Rebecca was my girlfriend at the time. She was flying in from San Diego to Dallas. Where were you going? We were going to the Caribbean. We were going to take a cruise. It was a carnival cruise. We were the only two white people aboard. Which are not white. She was the only white person aboard. Okay. We were the only white and Mexican people aboard. The rest of the boat was completely black. LLB. Oh, LLB. You would have loved it. Fantasy cruise. Yep. This girl, 400 bills. bumped into Rebecca and went, excuse me? And Rebecca almost cried. Poor Rebecca. But I played it perfectly. Oh, the number one thing that people are afraid of, not getting a tan. Number one thing. Please, people. I played it perfectly. I called Rebecca and I overreacted. And then she felt like, oh, poor guy. You know, he sounds like he's ready to lose his marbles. Right. And I call her and I'm like, oh!
Oh, gosh, babe. I can't believe. I can't believe. Babe, it's okay. What is it? What is it? No, this is crazy. What did you do? It didn't be that bad. And I told her I lost my passport. And she's like, just calm down. Just calm down. It's going to be okay. Instead of going, hey, I don't have a passport. In which case, she would have been silent for 30 seconds. And then she would have gone, why are you just now, just now getting around to it? And I would have been shamed and I would have wanted to do what she did when the girl went, excuse me. So I just played it. Played it where I was upset. It's a good move. Still works. She take care of business for you? Yeah. We called my brother and he had a copy of my birth certificate. Shocking. Weird. Yeah. Well, first called my parents and they said, we don't have it. Yeah. Your brother does.
Didn't even ask why. Just, all right, thanks. Called him. He went down to some building, you know, government building in Tucson. Got a passport, put it in a overnight and overnighted it. And it worked. Unbelievable. It all worked. Out of the world. Yeah. It all worked. Yes, OB. I know it. Skated out of that one. Should be fine, huh? Where is ballin'? Where is ballin'? Jay, I don't have ballin'. Nah, he's not lucky. He's not looking in here. We're halfway through the show. Worried about ballin'. Mikey, morning quarterback, coming up. Yes! Haven't done the homework, but I'll do it right now. I can help you. Boy. I can help you. After midnight. Girl, hon, hon. Easy. Don't juggle a good shot. Bye, gorgeous. Good job. Here's Preston. Excellent job. Huh? Mikey. 570-1949. Ha, ha, ha. Or text. That is funny. At 949mikey at gmail.com. More coming up. And just a couple. FM 94.9. One of the most anticipated annual concerts is back. FM 94.9. Hey, San Diego, a Lincoln financial radio station. This is The Mikey Show with Mikey. When I was in high school, I never made love with a girl. Woods. That is what heaven is in my mind. I get up to heaven and I'm like. Oh, my God. It's a Krispy Kreme. Lauren. My butt doesn't go straight down. It sticks out. You know, junk in the trunk. In the trunk. And Jay. I tell you, Kim got me on the organic ketchup, and then I went back to the Heinz. This is The Mikey Show on FM 94.9. Phenomenal. My. Well done. Well done, my dear. Well done. What are you guys doing? Send me that picture. You didn't do anything. We just found out. Oh, my. You're off the hook, Jay. You're off the hook. I'm saying it now. L.O.B.'s B.F.M.C. just sent us a photograph of a shattered ball in the driveway. See? It wasn't me. First of all, I apologize. Yeah, I owe you one too. Finally. I apologize. L.O.B. She just sent me a picture. How did you do that? I don't know. Probably going out to the car this morning.
I was juggling stuff, and my surfboard was still out from yesterday. You juggle when you walk to your car in the morning? No, I bring a bunch. I had the ingredients for the smoothies for later. Oh, boy. And my surfboard was still out because I didn't put it away. Weird. I can't stop staring at it. No. You couldn't have dropped the stuff for the smoothie that you're going to make us drink. I didn't know I dropped it. I had to drop your little baby. Your little baby ball in. No, I dropped it. I can't be him. Oh. No. Oh, it breaks my heart. It looks like a crime scene. There should be yellow tape around it. I bet Matt's heart jumped a beat. Oh, my. Oh, my gosh. He probably died laughing. I wonder if in his head he goes, yeah. Yeah. Well, now there you go. He's not answering my text. There you go. This is kind of what I suspected and feared. Well, you know what? There you go. We gave her an egg to take care of for a week and apparently it couldn't be done. I had it for almost a week. Maybe we call EPS, okay? That's Egg Protective Services. No. EPS.
The guy belongs in a garbage can. He's refuse at this point. Yeah, at this point you could flush him down the freaking toilet. He's going to have to be a hose off the driveway. Well, I hope it doesn't get too hot today or you'll have a fried egg on your driveway. You ever just try to fry your son on the driveway? Oh, man. This is James Spader. And James Spader. Oh, my. Oh, my. I just sent the photograph of balling. No. It says this message has no content. Yes, it does. Yes, it does. It has content. It's balling. The content's right there in front of you. It's in front of your face. Oh, my gosh. It's horrific. Maybe it's being blocked because it's too gruesome. Yeah, too brutal. Oh, my gosh. Child murdering is not a good thing. It's not child murdering. It's not child neglect. No. No? Abandonment. Child abandonment.
Neglect. Neglect. Neglect. Neglect. Wow, child negligence. Negligence. Negligence. Maybe it happened over the weekend. No, I had him this morning. Did you? I had him this morning. Did somebody have a drinky too? No. Did somebody have a... Did somebody have a... Name three judges from American Idol. Oh. I did leave him home alone when I went out. Oh, my God, LLB. I was better than bringing him. Well, obviously not. If you go to Facebook.com slash Mikey Show right now, you can see a picture of Ballin'. Oh, my gosh. That is the end of Ballin'. That can't be the end. Hey, has anyone seen Ballin'? Yeah, he's broken and shattered on the driveway. We were balling. Balling. It'd be a good song to play right now, Mike. Broken by Seether. In honor. All right. Of beautiful, sweet. I never heard of that song. Yes, you have. I stopped using it for my son. Not everyone has. He was a good egg. Oh, yeah, they know that. This one goes out to L.O.B.'s egg. It's her baby. Her baby boy. Her baby egg. Yeah.
All she had to do is take care of that little SOB for one complete week. I did almost for a week. Almost. Hey. It's an egg. Hey, can you bring this egg home for me? I'd like to see you guys take care of an egg. I'm busy tonight. I'm going to go out tonight. I want to go out. American Idol. Hey, listen to me. I've been taking care of this egg. For a week, I am entitled to have fun. I get a girls' night. I get a girls' night. You get a guys' night. I get a girls' night. You take care of them. Name three judges from American Idol. Oh, he's broken and sad. He's yoking. He's yoking. I don't feel as though this is the appropriate song. Oh, it is. He's broken. What's a good song for child abandonment? That's not abandonment. Hold on. It's not a child. Maybe Love Child by the Supremes. That's pretty good. I just keep throwing out songs I don't have. Yeah. I thought you had that one. We could just play something we do have. I thought you had Broken, did you not? You had Broken, but you just said, what's your root? Love Child. I think it's sad he's still looking at you. Where's the, what's a good song for when you kill your child? Maybe just the violin music.
Well done, kid. What's on Casey Anthony's iPod? I mean, maybe. Oh, wow. I'm just going to cover it up. Say your dad broke balling. Yeah. My dad must have done it. Wasn't me. My dad was in New Jersey. Yeah. Clearly. He could have easily flown out here. Now, I saw some pictures of you this weekend, like kind of in a hot body contest a little bit. So there are a little bit of similarities between LLB. I don't know where it was when I was doing that. We were horsing around last night watching the game. You and Ballin? I was talking to this girl. Hello. What's your name? Sarah. Sarah, how old are you? 32. And Sarah, how many drinks have you had tonight? A lot. Me too. I love it so much. It's my favorite. No. It's my favorite. Sorry. My heart hurts. My heart is aching, and you guys are just making jokes. Yeah, no, you lost your poor ball in. Yep. M1 detail from Oceanside. What up, guys? What about Runaway Train? That old...
Call you up in the middle of the night. Call you up in the middle of the night. How does that go? Call you up in the middle of the night. She didn't lose a train. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She lost a train. It's supposed to be about a runaway. Oh. It's a runaway egg. Okay. I see how it works. That might work. Let's see. I'm one Dan and John Ford Coley. No. What about He's Gone by the Grateful Dead? I'm sure you have that. No. You don't have that, Mike? No. Oh. All right. I'm not going to try to think of any more songs in the spur of the moment. You have me to yell them out there for you. Maybe it's not really ballin'. M1 Dan from San Diego. I think you go at Shattered by the Rolling Stones. Oh, there you go. Oh, no. Well done, Dan from San Diego. That's very good. Gosh darn, I'm kicking myself. I didn't think of that myself. Thank you.
Thank you very much. Instead, you came up with Broken by... Seether. Seether. And Amy Lee from Evanescence. There it is. Ballin'. That's great. Identical Ballin'. Identical Ballin'. How did you do that? What happened, do you think? I was carrying out a bunch of stuff this morning. I'm making us smoothies. Happy birthday later. Happy Halloween. So I was trying to remember all of my stuff in addition to all my other stuff. And I remember that my surfboard was right next to my car because I didn't put it away yesterday. So I was pushing that out of the way with one hand. It's possible that... In the midst of holding him in my pashmina, he slipped out. I don't really know. My goodness. He was there this morning, which is why I thought Jace don't live. You woke him up and everything. I woke him up. I got him dressed. I brushed his little egg teeth. You made him some cereal? Yeah. I made him an omelet. Can't make him eggs. That's disgusting. That'd be like cannibalism. Cannibalism. But he likes it. Rest in peace. Yeah, rest in pieces. Pieces. Rest in pieces. That's a good one, too.
We had her carrying around an egg for a week, and it broke today. And the picture is on Facebook.com. I have mixed emotions. What do you mean? I am really sad because I actually was having a lot of fun posing him. So that's one hand. And on the other hand, I'm relieved because it was a pain to carry him around. Well, you sure look like you're saying. Kids are a pain. You said kids are a pain. No, I said to carry him around. He's an egg. He's very fragile. So are kids. So are kids. They're not as fragile as an egg. Aren't they? Maybe more so. Yeah, maybe more fragile. Well, I did snap my niece's stomach on her high chair this week. Oh, gosh. Did you really? Maybe I'm just terrible. Yes. How did you do that? She has a little, I was cooking. I have everybody over last night and she really wanted me to help her. She has a little portable thing that my sister brings with her. And she was like, she wanted to get in first. And I knew it was a bad idea, but she wanted to do it. She was so, she couldn't have been happier. And then she was sitting in there and like being all like polite, waiting for me to snap the lid on. And she leaned forward. And as she leaned forward, I got her skin. She's just staring at me. And then the tears just.
I felt like a murderer. Apparently I am. Eileen Wuornos is on the line. Yeah, she wants to know why you did that. You're a terrible mom. This is a good one for L.O.B. too. Yeah, it's true. No more ballin'. For one full week, almost. Almost. Not quite. You had a companion. A son. Yeah, a little son to care for. And then you just went and cracked him all over. I didn't do it. He jumped. Jumped! Do you? She'll be at the bar tonight. Emily, yeah, I didn't miss that. Baller. What is his name? Baller. I was going to take him to a trick-or-treating event tonight. I'm sorry, Baller. No, it's Baller. Oh, yeah, Baller. Sorry, Baller. You were kind of a pain to carry around. Kind of. What is the name of the movement that has protesters down at City Hall? Oh, no. Oh, boy.
What is the name of the federal agency designed to aid Americans during disasters? Oh, wow. American may be a problem. Name three judges from American Idol. Okay, well. Poor baby. All balling myself. If you go to Facebook.com slash Mikey show. Poor kid. Never had a chance. Never had a chance. By the way, just so you know, 52 comments have been made. He had a wonderful life. Did he?
Six days. You guys! You guys! Life span of a bee. Life span of a bee. He's an egg. He's supposed to be refrigerated anyway. He's going to start to smell soon. I know. You're going to have to have some kind of safety crew come down and spray him off. They're going to rope the scene off. There's going to be an investigation. Oh gosh, you think there's going to be an autopsy? I know. There's going to be an autopsy. Even though they know. They know how he died. Do you think that if I gave him whiskey for his teeth last night, it will show up today? Yes, it will. Casey Anthony. Yes, it will. Great. 570-1949. Let's play Mikey Morning Quarterback. I can't. You can do this. I can't go on. Even though you're under duress, I believe, you can do it. Ballin's gone. Yeah, he's dead. He's gone. It's a thing of the past. I really thought Jay did it. I did, too. How easy it is to blame. Mattering cahoots. Mikey, why don't you turn that high-powered perception upon yourself? Look in the mirror. That's right, Mike. Let's see. Are you ready? Yes. We got callers ready? Yeah, you're going to pick either L-O-B or J. This is M1Daniel from Oceanside. And M1Daniel, are you there? Yes, I'm here. And who would you like to represent you?
I'll go in L-O-B. It's a good move. It's a good move. It's a good move. Hang on the line. Jay has to come in here so he doesn't cheat. I don't cheat, don't you? M1 Jennifer from Poway. What's that, Chris? You have Jay. That's his answer. He asks for those every Monday. What are you doing? I can't hear. I can't hear. Can you hear me now? Yes. There I can hear me. Well, we've always been able to hear you. It was your headphones that were turned down. Are you ready? Are you ready? Who goes first this week? Jay. Jay goes first. Jay, you go first. Yes. Name the long-haired Pittsburgh Steeler who is currently in shampoo commercials. Ben Rothensbergen. I meant... I so freaking late. I so freaking late. Ben Rothensbergen. Burger. Burger. So outstanding. It is not. Not. It is Troy Polamalu. Oh.
That's right. L.O.B. Yes. The last time a Super Bowl was played here in San Diego, who were the teams? I believe you were there. No, you were not. The Chargers and the Jets? No. It was, in fact, the last game for John Elway, and it was the Denver Broncos versus the Green Bay Packers. Oh, gosh, I'm an idiot. I don't know what I was thinking. Was that? I was thinking of a playoff game. All right. Okay. I was trying to figure out if she was getting me again. I've been had twice today. That's true. No, I'm not all there. Jay? Yes. What team does Tim Tebow play for? The Giants. Nope. Oh, wait. No. Too late. I don't know. He plays for the Denver Broncos. Oh. You knew that. He does play for the Giants. Has anyone got a correct answer? No. No. Okay.
L-O-B? Yes. Name any, and buy the word any. Oh, no. Any. What I'm trying to say here is, definitively and categorically, any kicker ever, I mean, ever, from any team, ever, period, any year. David Akers. Wow, ma'am. Wow. Look at that. Dang it. Gosh darn it. That girl is. Can't get her. Can't get her. All right, Jay. Yes. Name any and buy any. Any. Any, any, any. These are the words. I mean encompassing all. From any time. Any place. Anywhere. Any team. Okay, I'm ready. Name any head coach ever in the history of the National Football League. Any head coach? Any head coach. Norv. Norv. Norv... What is Norv's last name? Norv... Turner? Yeah! Yes! Woo! And there's Marty Schuttenheimer as well. Isolate. Isolate. Tom Landry. Tom Landry. Would it work, Jay? Texas. What was the Bud... What was it, the Oilers? Buddy Ryan? No. Bud Adams. Bud Adams. Wow, that is old school. That's old. L.O.B.? Yes. One to one.
In what state do the New England Patriots play? Oh, wow. She is giving me a look. Like, is this a trick? Are you serious? Oh, she went. Massachusetts. Yes. Foxborough. Does that? No. You already went on her. Oh, no. I know. Yeah, she's wrong. My question is, is that it? Tied. 1-1. Tied. Yeah, keep going. And you went first. Got it. I sent you another one. You did? There's two emails in there. All right, Jay. Yes, I'm ready. Go ahead, Woods. You ask. I wrote them. I didn't ask. I don't have them. I forgot. I went by default then. No, it's tied. Okay, Jay. Okay, here we go. Oh, you got it? No, I don't. Jay. Yes. In what state do the Cincinnati Bengals play? Really? Cincinnati. That's just what I thought.
That's incorrect. They play in the state of Ohio. Cincinnati, Ohio. Cincinnati, Ohio. Now, can you guys give me the name of a team with a city and I get to guess the state? I love... People say they can listen to us do Mikey Morning Quarterback, which, by the way, Jay continues to write Monday Morning Quarterback every week. People love Mikey Morning Quarterback. Are you ready, L-O-B? I am ready. L-O-B. Yes. Please name any and by any, I mean any. From any. Tight end in the history of the game. Current or former? Jeremy Shockey. Wow! That's a winner. She's a winner. That is it. Gosh darn it. M1 Daniel from Oceanside. You there? Yep. Very nice. Owen, I was wrong about a question. Were you? Yeah, but it doesn't matter because L.O.B.
Got it wrong. Super Bowl. Yeah, I was wrong about the Super Bowl. Hang on the line. You get a $20 gift card to Dave & Buster's in Mission Valley. The perfect place for a holiday party, Dave & Buster's. I forgot about the Super Bowl in 2003. No, it was not. It was M1 Caesar. Are you there, Caesar? Oh, he just hung up. But it was Tampa and the Raiders. Oh, that was here. It was here. Yeah. When you said you were there, I was thinking the playoff game. I got very confused. I wouldn't have gotten it anywhere. That's the one where Barrett Robbins went down to Mexico and got all jacked up the night before and never played again, really. Dude, there is so much night before history for the Super Bowl. Isn't that when Ray Lewis did his bit in Atlanta? Allegedly. Allegedly stabbed a guy. There was another famous one with the Atlanta Falcons. The guy went out the night before and did something. I can't remember. It wasn't. Oh, yeah. Rape. Yeah. It was rape. Yeah. Yes, dude. I was going to say that. Remember that. It was Ray Buchanan. Dude. They call him Rape Buchanan. Rape Buchanan. Wow. Wow. L-O-B. Wow. Sometimes it is funny. Oh, my God. And today's promo.

Titanical Richie Valens. Yeah.
He's falling from heaven. Falling from the skies. And then Woodsy reminded me of this song from La Bamba. This is great. Isn't that a good one? It's like perfect. It's a perfect melody. I have to pour out some cider tonight. Yeah. For Paul and listen to this. Yeah, you should. Pour it on his grave. Maybe on the yolk stain that's probably on my driveway. Thanks, Paul. Thanks, Mom. Thanks, Mom. Wow. Somebody said tears in heaven, too. I thought that was a little inappropriate since his child fell out of a balcony. Oh, wow. That's a little harsh. Whoa. That's heavy. And then Woods goes into air guitar as if he said nothing. Right. Well, I didn't say it. I know. Don't kill the messenger, dude. Don't kill the messenger. It's there in plain sight.
It's about Eric Clapton's real son. Yes, Connor was his name, which was also the name of my fake son. That was the name of my fake kid. We were going to name him Connor. Oh, and she kept the birth. Hey, hey, hey. So it was cool. Happy times. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Totally. Happy place. Totally. Come on. You're making me uncomfortable. We need the uncomfortable alarm for sure. It's definitely on high alert. Yeah, we are. Woo. Woo. Woo. Woo. Woo. Woo. No, no, not the gay man's call, Mike. No, that's Jay. You're the uncomfortable one. There he goes. Not the North Park howl. Let's have a moratorium on bringing up the Eric Clapton story. Fine, I didn't say it. You said it. Well, it's there. But you said it. It's there in plain sight. No, no, no. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Me arguing with a cat. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Wow. For L.O.B.? Yeah. I just came out of the basement to tell you that I think that was pretty messed up. I didn't do it on purpose. Didn't you?
No. Are you about an extra large egg? No. It was extra large brown. Can I get the shill? Yeah. Can I use the shill? No. Yeah, I'm trying to make a kimono out of it. I want to put my moths in there. Ew. I need a place to keep my moths. Oh, gross. Put on my lip liner. And then I put them on. Oh. Oh, wow. That's creepy. Let's see. 570-1949 is our number. And M1 Trish from Fallbrook, what was the word of the day? That is correct. Well done. Well done, you. You have won four pack of tickets to SeaWorld San Diego. And that includes your...
ability to see silly and spooky shows like Pirates 3D. Hang on a line. Egg-cellent. Egg-cellent. Oh, no. She needs to go see the Egg-secutioner. I told you I was going to tell you about this girl from the real world. Tanya Cooley. She's suing MTV over an alleged... rape incident during the filming. What? That apparently this happened, that the producers of the show were watching this happen, and that they did not step in to do anything about it. So she's suing. That is shocking. Well, it was like, it was date rape. It was one of the other members of the cast and her, apparently the producers felt they were getting it on. I think it was even two of the guys. She says we weren't getting it on. It was, you know, it was their idea, not mine. Whoa. That's heavy. According to the L.A. Times, today we are supposed to hit 7 billion people on Earth. Perfect. Today. They mathematically figured it out. They also figured out that by 2050, 9.3 billion people will be here. Oh, wow. By the end of the century, 10.1 billion.
They better start working on the five now. Wrap that rascal. Expand it. Maybe it's a good thing if I don't have any kids. Yeah, me too. We can help in that regard. They make a lot of waste. A lot of garbage. A lot of garbage. A lot of poo. Wow. It's always fascinated me what we're able to do with all that in a city. Speaking of garbage, Solana Beach might be the first to... Get rid of plastic bags. Yeah. There's L.O.B. She is a big environmentalist and they are too. They've always been first in that kind of stuff. They're responding to concerns about land. They litter landfills. How do you litter a landfill? It's a landfill. Isn't it in fact a litter box? Yeah. They take off in the air. Blow around. And they don't disintegrate. What are they going to put their marijuana in in Solana Beach, I wonder? What are they going to do now? No plastic bags. There's the reusable Tupperware containers. They're going to clog. They believe it will clog public pipe systems. So what are you going to smoke your fresh marijuana in? Without a pipe. Without a pipe. Well, if your pipe's clogged, Mike. Glass. Pirates. Yeah, exactly. It also floats in the ocean for years.
And harms numerous animals. That's not good. They think it's like a jellyfish or something. And so they try to eat it? Mm-hmm. Turtles do. Turtles try to eat them? Mm-hmm. That's sad. More than I'm in. It is sad. It's with animals. It's caught in the blowholes of whales. Yep. Did you guys know that out in the middle of the ocean by Alaska, do you guys know about the garbage thing? No. Trash island. The tide that takes it all there. The tides. Take all the garbage from the ocean to this one area. It's the size of Texas. Shut up. It's garbage. It's all garbage. Just floating. I know. Are there pictures? Yes. Oh, I got to see it. I know. I wonder what they call it. The size of Texas. Yeah. I get what it's called. I can't remember what it's called either. Doodoo land. We can Google it. When I first saw it, it made my stomach drop like I was on a ride. Did you see a documentary on it or something? It was a picture in the newspaper. That is hideous. I saw, and there was also like, I mean, obviously there's animals that live on that island. Oh, man. That eat that stuff. I think it's called Garbage Island. But it's float. There's no land. It's all plastic garbage. It's no land. Dude. It doesn't wash up on land. It's just a big, what's it called? It says the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. The Garbage Patch Kids. Remember them? Yep.
I'll put a picture of it on our website. It's so hideous, Woods. I bet, dude. Here we go. Yeah, it's gigantic. Now here it... Yeah, look at this, Woods. Look at this. Holy smokes. That's a dude in a canoe paddling through there. It's so gross. It's really gross. All of that stuff just gathers in this one place out in the middle of the ocean. That's so gross. It makes you go, oh my gosh, we're gnarly. We are. I feel so guilty. I've never thrown something in the ocean, but I still feel guilty. It just comes off barges, trash barges. Just think about next time when you're at the grocery store and they say paper or plastic, you think about that garbage patch. Plastic. No. It's easier. I can get the whole load in in one fell swoop. Yeah, you could put your hand through five bags. It wouldn't hurt to take multiple trips back and forth. That's a shot at us. No, it actually would hurt. It would literally hurt. It would literally hurt to make five trips. You know what's better than the plastic bags we're carrying in here? They're reusable. They're reusable because you can put...
Like four or five bags on each arm. They're so strong. He's right again. Yeah, Jay, what he does, he goes grocery shopping and he takes a bandana and a stick. And he'll wrap it in there. He wraps it in the bandana, puts it on the stick. Like a hobo. Like a hobo over his shoulder. They give you money back, like five to ten cents a bag. Who does? The grocery store, if you bring your own bags in. They give you five cents off? Five to ten cents a bag. For each bag. You run your bags and they kind of scan them or they just note how many you have. with 20 cents. Over the last year and a half, L.O.B. saved $1.40. Probably. And a sea turtle. Yeah, several sea turtles. The sea turtle bit gets me. Me too. I don't want to freaking choke out sea turtles. Me neither. All right, I'm in. I'm all the way in on no more plastic bags. You have my solemn promise. Yeah. No more. Look at that. No more plastic bags in the Woods household. That means even in the morning when you come in with your potpourri of snacks from the store. No more plastic bags. I'm sure Jay won't call you out. Oh, I'm sure he won't. If you bring a plastic bag in here. Get a purse like mine that's made out of recycled kimonos and just say, oh, I don't need a bag and just throw it in there. What happens? Japanese ladies pass away and their kimonos go to making purses. I think what it actually is is like leftover material. I don't think they're actually recycled. Those are from Japan. Yeah, they're like, Toma Arigato, we've rost another one.
I know there are white women in the United States that want the purse. Can I get her extra kimonos? You want to make money from, right? What does this go for? Just out of interest. Just totally curious. The company that I work for, I'm actually a kimono importer. And I'm here from Del Mar, California. Disgusting. And what I want to do is... Take our pain. Yeah, and what we do is we make... bags out of them. And sell them to only white girls. Then they live on forever. Right. And then they will always live on. So could I just get that box of kimonos, please? Oh, yeah, sure. I mean, my aunt is your purse. It's a good bid if you can get it. That's true. I'll never forget the first time LLB told me that that was what her purse was. As a matter of fact, her and I were just standing there. There was no conversation happening at all. We were just standing there. We were going to a movie, all of us as a show, and we was just standing there. Neither of us were saying a word. We were wearing sunglasses. It was a bright day. And she looked at me and she said, you know, my purse is made of recycled kimonos. I looked back at her. I said, is that so? She said, yep. Wow. All right.
Cool. And in my mind, I was thinking, this one, I got to keep an eye on. Yeah. So are you excited for Book of Eli? I think no one was excited. We were going to see Youth and Revolt. Oh, boy. LLB. Give me that bit. It's a brilliant film. Isn't it? It's brilliant. Oh, yeah, it's been widely talked about for the four and a half minutes it was in theaters. It has. It's brilliant. Euthanasia revolt. Yeah, euthanasia revolt. I believe that movie made $400,000. It was so good. But that's only because who's the star of that? Michael Cera. Went to see it 400,000 times. At the dollar movie. Oh, wow. The movie's brilliant. It's brilliant. Zach Galifianakis. I urge everyone listening. to rent Youth and Revolt. Oh, yeah. And then I urge you to go on Woods' fan page, on his Facebook page, and tell him how brilliant... It's brilliant. You gotta use the word brilliant. But first of all, plebs, go read the book first, like I did 10 years ago. The book, that's why I want to see it, because the book is outstanding. Everybody knows that every movie is worse than every book. And by the way, I'd rather have you read the book to me.
Oh, boy. Then watch that. Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi. It's brilliant. Metallica was supposed to perform for the first time in India. Did not. Freaking pissed. Yeah. Freaking Sandman, man, for the first time ever. I was going to read that song about us. Enter Sandman. Enter Sandman. For whom the bell toll. The whole thing. Yeah, everything. I got that library, man. Unforgiven. Okay, in order. Kill them all. Ride. Master. Master. And then... Lock and load or no? No, that was not... Load it. What's it called? Dumb, dumb. It was the black album. The black album. Great album. Then the load. Then the reload. The live with the symphony. The live with the timpani from the San Francisco Symphony. Yes. That was called S&M. Because it was a symphony and Metallica. Oh. That's what they stand for. Hello. I'm president of New Delhi Fan Club. I guess so. But we were pissed, man. You know what happened? They apparently found out that it was 25,000 people.
And that was, there was some security risk or something like this. And so they said, we cannot do it. Oh, what a bummer. Gosh. The Indians. We regret to announce that due to technical difficulties, the Metallica show at Gergawan has been postponed. Beautiful. Until Saturday. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Or do you? I have to freaking work on Saturday. Nah. Yeah. I can't come Saturday. Any other thing about that? Take the wife to the movie. I get Friday off for a stupid concert. Now I have to work. I trade shift with Guy. Yeah. So he get to go with my ticket. Take your justice for all. Jerks, man. I bought every one of the albums. I didn't even go on Napster. Napster. Napster. The announcement, it says, was met with anger.
Anger, that is. What would you give to hear 25,000 Indians singing along to Bleeding Me, King Nothing, Hero of the Day? This was a jam, man. This was a good album. I'm your life. I'm the one who take you there. Quit freaking out, man. Sorry, couldn't play. Found out they were going to rush the freaking stage, man. And I told Head, I was like, hey, I don't feel comfortable doing this gig. It's not my fault. Do my dirty work, scapegoat. Yeah, it's in one of our songs, I know. I wrote the song, I know what it says, man.
Listen, we'll come back. Great. Freaking great. We'll play on Saturday. Great. What's the difference between today and Saturday? I'm off Friday. Idiots. You know I work for Dell. I work all day. I work for Dell. Answer phone. Answer phone. I say, hello, my name is Steve. Hello, this is Todd. Hi, this is Brad. Thank you for calling Dell. How can I help you? Hello, this is Marissa. Thank you for calling, Dale. Can I help you? Yes, Melissa. I think I have a problem with my motherboard. Okay, have you tried rebooting the motherboard? Yes, Melissa, I have. That was the first thing I did. Okay, can you do a favor for me? Can you hit the start button and then... Sure, Melissa.
Say, where are you from? Toledo. Toledo, Ohio? Yeah. Hey, what's happening, Cracker Jack? I'm sorry, what? Pardon me? Cracker Jack is a candy sold at baseball game. Did you just Google that, Melissa? No. It is popularized in the 1950s because they gave a little prize at the bottom of it. To the children? It was founded by Mr. Jack Anderson from Cincinnati. There's also a way to make children happy at Halloween to get them a Crocker Jack box. Yeah, that's not exactly what I meant. You pulling my leg? Why would I...
I can't grab your leg from here where I am. I cannot reach your leg. We are on the phone. Melissa, aren't you familiar with that phrase? Look, I'm from Bangladesh. You catch me. My real name is... Well done, Columbo. Yeah, look at you. Magnum P.I. over here. You figure it out. Dude. Is that doing anything for you, L.O.B.? No. It's too much, right? Too hard? Yeah. All I picture is big six foot two Hetfield up on stage. Legs spread. Real far apart. One of those big old I can kick your ass mustaches that goes past his chin, you know? The Wyatt Earp. Yes, the Wyatt Earp. Look at that dude. A bunch of people were arrested for Occupy here in San Diego.
Did it in the middle of the night so it wouldn't cause a fuss. A couple of people resisted arrests. Weird. Weird. You guys ever resist stuff? You guys ever just go flat as a plank so they can't take you? Speaking of, the new bit is T-bowing. Yes. It's the kneeling. Oh, gosh. I'm over it. It's when everybody around you is doing something else and you just... The Tebow. Did you see what happened to him when he got sacked? One of the lions Tebowed. Are you serious? Get out of here. I was like, oh, God. It made me so uncomfortable. That's uncomfortable. It was so uncomfortable. Let's see. What's the longest you've ever spent on an airplane on the runway where you were coming out of your skin? 45 minutes. Oh. That's different than this flight that happened over the weekend. Wait till I tell you. Do you know how they finally got off the plane? They called 911. Oh, my God. Because they had been lied to so many times by the captain. What? They finally called 911. No way. That's crazy. It's the Mikey Show. I like it. I like it. Be a part of the show. 570-1949. Or shoot him a text. 949Mikey at gmail.com. You're a nerd. More coming up in just a couple. FM949. If I watch other people do things that I'd rather do, I'm like... Woods. I smoke a pack a day. You're going to live longer, pal. And Jay. I'm wearing Dockers right now. On FM 94.9. Hi. I'm Mikey. Happy Halloween.
That's Woodsy. That's L-O-B. That's Jasef. And our phone screener is Chris. Let's crawl. So here's what happened. These people are flying from Florida to Connecticut. They land JetBlue aircraft. They're sitting on the plane and they don't have any food. They don't have any water. They don't have any working bathrooms. Plane left Florida at 10 a.m. on Saturday, landed in Connecticut about 1.30 p.m. It sat there, motionless for hours. And then passengers started calling 911 because the pilot came on and said, we're going to get towed in. We're waiting to be towed in. Then he came on an hour later and said, we're still waiting to get towed in.
Finally, after nothing was happening, passengers started calling 911. I would have lost my mind. Me too. They would have had to just tranquilize me or something. Knock me out. The worst. There's nothing worse than getting to somewhere where you're going. If you're on the runway and you haven't taken off yet, a little delay is okay in my book. For me. I want to go too, but I'm like, all right, so they're going to make sure everything's good. But boy, once you land and you want to get off that plane, you've been sitting on your butt for so long. Because you're kind of ready to go, you know. But dude. Especially looking out the window. Yeah, in your home. Maybe you just got back from a vacation in Florida and you're exhausted. And you just want to go to your house. Not only that, you're frantically on the phone trying to call the people to make arrangements.
Because you've made arrangements? Yeah, people are there to pick you up. Yeah, can you keep watching the kids? Can you call the person that's going to pick you up? Can you do this? Can you do that? Hey, sorry about this, man. And they're like, hey, well, when... Like, you're the airline. You become the... They're like, well, when is it going to be? I have no idea. I don't know. I'm on a freaking plane. We're sitting on the tarmac. Well, can you give me a rough... Dude, I don't know what to tell you. I've never understood why they can't roll a freaking ladder up there, let people walk off and down through the deal. And you know what? Hey, we're going to be walking... 200 passengers real quick. Give us about 15 minutes. Yeah. Don't do anything. Don't do anything. Don't let any planes take off. We're going to walk 200 passengers into the airport because we don't want them to sit here forever. Right. There should be a time period. Like after a certain time period. It's your right to get off the plane. To get off an aircraft. There is. At that three-hour mark, I think. You're allowed after three hours to say, let me off of this plane? They're supposed to go back. You're not allowed to have them. It's up to the airplane to find out a way to get people off the plane. Legally, you're not allowed to get them. Ten hours they sat on the tarmac. No way. Ten hours. No way. Dude. No way. Yeah, ten. Imagine people with babies. Ten hours total with the flight. Ten hours total with the flight. They were on the plane. Oh, my God.
I'm sure it wouldn't suck being hot, kids crying, no food. Smells like fart. Because I fart on planes like a madman. Well, a lot of people do. Because it's loud. Wow, but it's really, really small quarters. Yeah, I know. But you don't know where it comes from, which is the brilliance of the airplane fart. Well, I mean, brilliance, I guess, would be... I mean, you're using that term loosely. No, it's well thought out. It's the worst part about being on a plane. Somebody else decides that they're just going to be inconsiderate and fart. We should go, really, whoever? I know, yeah. Hey! I say loudly, oh, it stinks. I didn't say. I would slink into my chair. Good. God, I would slink into my chair. As long as I'm with somebody. Oh, babe, do you smell that? Yeah. Oh, it stinks. It smells like some filthy animal farted on an air freaking craft. Stale, recycled fart air. Yeah, you know, that we all have to breathe in.
Hey, you with the onion sandwich up there. What are you snacking on? I'm snacking on a bologna sandwich that happens to have some onion in it. What? I have some Kentucky fried chicken. Oh, my God. Sorry. I will murder you. Sue me. Have you seen this guy? I have a Caesar salad that smells like vinegar. The guy, this happened on a trip Jamie and I took. I watched this person get on the plane with their big ass foot long subway sandwich and their bag of Doritos. And I looked at her and I go. That SOB. I think I might have said MF. That MF better wait until we land to eat that sandwich or I'm going to freak out. No way. You guys are crazy. You guys are crazy. It was a BMT, which is salami, ham, all kinds of crap with onions and oil and vinegar. Ain't right, dude. Let me get the rules. Let me get the rules. So you can fart right next to me. Because nobody knows who it was. Yeah, because nobody knows who it was. Don't be the brazen a-hole that's like...
Hey, sorry, I'm prepared to eat, and you are not. And how about this, Woods? So would you be okay with it if he hid it in his backpack and took it out and was eating it? You'd still be like, who's got the farts? If I smelled it, I'd be pissed. Hey, you don't know who it is, though. I smell the farts, and I'm pissed. And I'm pissed, yeah. That goes away. He's dead to rights. I'm not dead to rights. You got him. Yeah. Please. Hey, I'm with you. If I don't fart, my stomach's going to hurt. If I don't eat, my stomach's going to hurt. You don't have to eat onion sandwich. My blood sugar level's going to go down. Hey, I'm going to go to the bathroom and fart, then some hot chick's waiting outside when I walk out. Every person in the world at one time has heard from a clown, what am I supposed to do? Hold it in? Yeah, it hurts. It'll hurt me. I'll get cancer. I'll get cancer or something. You believe cancer comes from cell phones. I believe it comes from holding in farts. So there you go. I don't believe cancer comes from cell phones. Don't you? Hello, baby. Don't you? I don't. Don't you? Don't you, in fact, believe cancer comes from cell phones? No, or else I wouldn't use a cell phone. The Kentucky Fried Chicken guy? None of them get me. None of them get me. I'll tell you why. They smell good. Yeah, they do not. To me, it smells delicious. When you're not eating it, it doesn't smell good. Well...
The thing that gets me is the confined space because even Rebecca, this weekend, I had leftover bucca. And I ate it. I was in our bedroom. I ate it. And I put the bowl. I put it in a bowl like a dog. I make like a dog bowl of food. I'm with you. And when I was finished, I put it on my nightstand. And she came in with her nose, with her fingers plugging her nose with spray. And went... What was your reaction? I looked at her like, really? That's a good move. Why are you eating in the bedroom? Who eats like that in the bedroom? That's disgusting. Are you? That's disgusting. Why would you go to your bed? I eat two meals a day in my bed. Ew. That is the weirdest thing ever. It is not. I don't even eat in my room. That's like the 600-pound man that has to get, like, you know, forklifted out of his house. How freaking dare you? That's where you're headed. Are you monstrous?
Might as well put a refrigerator in there, too. Yeah, why not? Put a toilet right in the bed. Just hook you up. Bed pan. Drop out in the bed. Is it like that? You'll never have to leave. I'm with you. I love it. I eat two meals a day in there, lunch and dinner. Ew. Hey, L.O.B., if eating on the bed watching TV, sitting up, eating on the bed watching TV is bad, so is sitting on the couch. Yeah. Why? That's not where people are supposed to eat. Yes, it is. Same thing. How is that okay? You're supposed to eat at a table. Yeah, it's not where you're supposed to eat. But you're sleeping in a bed. Then why do they, in fact, have breakfast in bed trays? Booyah! Bam! Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. Special occasions. And those who are sick. Oh, let me write the rules. Write it down. Special occasions. So wait, wait. Anniversary? Yeah, what are said special occasions? Not every morning or else it wouldn't be special. And it's a tray, not your lap. Lunch I eat there. Lunch and dinner. And by the way, both of these humans, L-O-B and J, have probably only done it a million times in the last month. Never. Never. Never. Never. I've never eaten in my bed. Never. In a hotel bed only. Yes. Because there's nowhere else to sit. They're the biggest. I don't want crumbs and I don't want dirty dishes. I want a polygraph. Oh, I'll give it to you. I want a polygraph. I guarantee every person. No. I know.
Oh, she's lying. She's a liar. Never. Never. Everybody does. Then you'll get ants in your bed. Where do you guys live? Yeah, in the outback. Freaking aborigines don't even get ants in their bed. You know what I mean? There are aborigines who eat in bed and don't get ants. There's ants all over this place. Oh yeah, it'll be aardvarks too, right? They're going to crawl into your bed. There's ants everywhere in San Diego. Do you not live in this county? I do, but I don't. Listen. I'm not eating like... They follow the crumbs. Yes. So you take your pick. You better the couch. I mean, they're going to be there anyway. Yeah, hello. Better the couch. Better the couch. Better the couch. I like to lay in my... My bed is the most comfortable seat in the house. Yeah, it is. It's not a seat. It is a seat. When I sit up in it, it's a seat. It's a bed. Can people please... I want to hear what M1s think about this. They think you're filthy. They think we're sex perverts. No. No, I think you're lazy. I think you're lazy. Well, yeah. I think you're hiding. Hiding? Wait, hold on. He's getting deep. What are we hiding? Well, Mikey's hiding from the family because he knows in his room that he can be all alone in his room. I might have just farted. This is not the airplane.
How dare you? Fuck me, prostitute? Yes. You're saying that to me. How dare you? Hey, Mac, he's just hiding from the world. He's hiding. Just doesn't want to see one kid. He's hiding. I just need some man time in here with my food. Jake, what am I hiding from? Uh, let's see. Laugh. Laugh. Your wife you don't love. No, no. Walking your dog. You're just depressed. You're just depressed. You don't want to work out or exercise or freaking move, you sedentary SOB. You're just depressed. Hiding from exercise. You are a German prostitute. Yes, he is. He's a Japanese anime whore. Of the filthiest kind. Snuff film director. Yes. That's what you are. There are snuff film directors on the line to say he is a pervert. Yes. How dare you. Haven't you guys ever sat Indian style on your bed with your Sig other, ordered a pizza? No. No. It's such a horse ass thing. That's true. Well, okay, okay, okay. When I was in college. When Kim was in college. When Kim was in college. Oh, so then it's okay.
done it. I've never done it. When I only had the bedroom, we would sit in there because there's no place else to go. Even when I was in college, I didn't do that. Of course, I had beer cans and cigarettes in my bed, too. There's a lot of things I would do in bed before I eat. I hope people are hearing this. That is unbelievable. There's no TV in my room, so why would we just sit there? I wish we had a polygraph. I did, too. We've got to get one. I would do it. We need to get one for the studio. I've done it in a hotel. That's my only caveat. Then you've done it. In a bed. They have tables at hotels. No, they don't. Yes, they do. They have tables. Unequivocally, every hotel has a table. Not my bed. Not every hotel I go to. I get the little tray. Woods, they've done it at their house. At their house. Sunday hungover. You've never come home drunk at Saturday night. With a bunch of nachos. Yeah. And just gone in your room and watched TV. I don't have a TV in there. Check your Facebook. Check in your Facebook. It's my sanctuary. Oh my God. I make love in there. That's where the bamboo is, Mike. I make love in there. It's my sanctuary. It's the only thing I do there. There's only two things that happen in that bedroom. Make love and have bamboo things. Sleep.
It's my dojo, Mike. Welcome to my dojo. Can you please take your shoes off? This is why you guys have sleeping problems. You're not supposed to do anything in your bed except sleep or... Make love. That's all Matt and I do is make love. Yes, if you walk into my abode, you'll instantly be greeted by the smell of lemongrass and incense. It's funny that you say abode because it's also an adobe. Yes, it is. It's made of adobe. Well, the walls were originally walls, but I covered them with clay. It's a hut. It's a hut. There's various books of tantra laying around in oils, many oils. Tantric sex takes place there, tantric. I have an oil. If you blow on it, it heats up. Well, of course you do. After a long evening, you love to massage mat down on your mat, on your yoga mat. Hey, babe, you're going to start me on fire. Be careful. It's getting chilly. Oh my gosh, I can't even look at you.
Oh, my God. There's pantsless M1s out there right now. Guaranteed. They're like, all right, well, forget it. Nobody's home. You just picture L.O.B. in her pink, you know, that says pink on the butt. Just sitting Indian style with her palms. White wife beater. Yeah, white wife beater with this music on. A candle. A couple of candles. She's holding her. Thumb and her index finger together. That sounds great. I can't wait to go home. She's breathing into the mouth and out to the nose. Other way around. Into the nose and out to the mouth. And then you can go into your own place now. Go into your own place. What you don't see is the grilled cheese sandwich that's next to her on her bedside table. What you don't see is a bag of barbecue Lay's potato chip. Filthy. That's Mikey in his foot-long sandwich in his bed. Really? That's not a sandwich. It's a burrito. Yeah, sorry. One of my favorite moments in the history of radio will be calling Jay.
A whore. A whore. Mine too. Yes. You dirty whore. He was speechless. M1 Christopher from Marietta. Are you there? Yes, I am. Go ahead. Hey, Mike, it's Christopher from Marietta. Yep, I just said that. Go ahead. It's ridiculous if you don't eat in bed. Thank you very much. Thank you so much, Chris. Let's hear your case. and, I mean, you're just not normal if you don't. Yeah, it feels real good. Maybe you buy a new couch that's comfortable. Yeah, I have a very comfortable couch. I love my bed. And I just don't get how a couch is okay. Right. It's not a sleep there. It's not like we're eating in the bathtub. We're not weird. You're sitting up on a coffee table. I think I figured it out. What? Is it a parent's thing? Like, would your parents flip? No, it's just being civilized. I can take a cushion off. Oh, so civilized is a couch, but not the bed. And I'm not going to go to sleep right after I eat. No. I might. Well, that explains a lot. Say it. M1 Justin from Vista. Hey, you know, all the professionals say no eating in the bed, no TV, no electronics. The bedroom is supposed to be for just a couple things. That's right. Brain starts getting conditioned to that so that when you go in the room...
You know what's about to happen one way or the other. Yep. You put food in there. Yep. Electronics. You're all jacked up. That's right. Woods. And you both have trouble sleeping. Yeah. No, we don't. Yes, you do. Oh, really? No. I have a Lunesta and a Surqual. I take a half an Ambien or some melatonin. Yeah, that's got to be good for you. Melatonin's all natural. How is it over there in Perfectville? Perfect. Perfecting it up. It's not that hard. No. 570. $1.94. And they've both eaten in their beds. They're lying. They're eating in their beds this afternoon. They're making a freaking ham sandwich. Trust me, they're not. If I find one morsel of anything in that bed, I'm like, oh gosh, I've got to burn the sheets. You're telling me that never at any time have you had McDonald's fries in the carton. Hell no. I like to wipe it right on my sheets. See? Yeah. I like to do it like I'm snapping my fingers. I kind of dry them off on the sheet that way. You know, I'll put a dip of snuff in every single night right before bed, and when I put it in, I go on the side of the bed. And Jamie every night goes, deer, don't wipe that on those sheets. He dips in his bed. Yeah. Oh, if I dipped in bed. I don't spit in the bed. I spit in a bottle. You're an animal. You wipe the tobacco. I do.
Oh, my gosh. How pleasant is that sleeping in the same bed with Woods? It's awesome. Dip, french fry. It's crunchy. It's awesome sleeping with me. I'm a coddler. I have spilled Pepsi in the bed. How do you know? Yeah, I know you. M1. That's what happens. Spilled barbecue sauce. Is this M1 Nokia from El Cajon? Hi. Hi there. I'm proud to eat in bed, too. That a girl, you little angel. You're sexy. Don't let anybody tell you different. That's right. You're an animal. Let's play this game. What? What happens if you spill something into that mattress? Clean it. Clean it. How? You clean it up. Get it professionally cleaned. No, you shout. What are we talking about? On the surface? It's in there. What are you talking about? You spill your Pepsi. What if you spill Tabasco sauce or like onion juice? It's going to go on that. No, it seeps into the mattress. No, it doesn't hurt me. I like my bed to smell clean. Me too. I don't want to smell onion when I go to sleep. That's why I brush my teeth. I like it. I want it to smell like sex. Well, that's fine. Why don't you put a fitted sheet on there instead of a towel? Well, we have a thing on our, it's funny, Jamie.
He calls it the fart cover. It's the real thick padding that goes over the mattress. Nothing getting through that thing. Is it plastic? No, it's not plastic. It's thick. It's like foam. It's foam plus fabric. What do you sleep on? On top of the buttons, L.O.B., of the mattress? No, I have a mattress cover. It's going to stop Tabasco. It stops Tabasco. It stops it up. He said he spilled Pepsi in bed. I did spill Pepsi. Pepsi goes right into the mattress. Yeah, but when you spill the liquid in bed, you go, ah! And you clean it real quick. You rip everything off. I've never had to. And what's going to happen? Oh, gosh. You're going to die. Yes. There's Pepsi in your bed right now. That's disgusting. I don't want to sleep on Pepsi. If you sleep, you don't sleep on the mattress. Ew. It's not sticky. It smells and it attracts bugs. It smells like Pepsi. Pepsi smells good. Oh, gosh darn. filthiest smell. She comes in. She's got the taste. Smells like garlic. I don't blame her. I don't blame her. I think that that was 100% well played. Do you know what else she does? She cleans before the cleaning people arrive. It's so like you're trying to impress the cleaning lady. You don't want them to think you're a filthy monster. So I'm going to pay them. I'm going to pay them to spruce up. Yes. I bet the cleaning lady is like
Don't even try it. I know who you are. Or she's like, this is easy money. Crystal clean. And I've said to her, I go, babe, why do you clean up? Why do you clean everything and you're washing things down? The cleaning lady's coming. She's doing laundry. She's like, I don't want it to look like a pigsty. I'm like, but... It is. That's why we have the cleaning lady. She does the deep cleaning. It's in the name. The lady has all the deep cleaning. They're supposed to do the deep cleaning. Just get it presentable. Like the grout and stuff. The stuff you don't want to do. Our cleaning lady will sometimes just turn off the power. Like turn off the power strip. She probably vacuums over it. And then everything's off. It needs to be reset. And then sometimes. She will put things in like a drawer. Right. And I'll be like, hey, honey, have you seen blah, blah, blah? No. I'm like, oh, I found it's under the sink. But she said to Rebecca a couple of weeks ago, I just want to say thank you so much because I love this job. It is sweet. She's also the cleaning lady that said, I put all of your husband's perfumes. Yes. I couldn't clean.
Because your husband's perfumes were too many. I love that she called them perfumes. Yes. To further denigrate. Yes. I mean, just M1 Panda Pooh from UTC. What do you think? Oh, filthy. Filthy, filthy. Thank you. You're the filthy one. Panda Pooh. Oh, wait a minute. My wife is on the line, and I'm very interested to hear. Oh, she's here. That's why she was calling. She better not say she's tough. She eats toast and butter. That's the worst. Might as well eat saltines. Oh, yes. Of course. Don't forget Jared at CreateYourDesignOnline.com. They said there's breastfeeding out there. I was like, I'm in. Check, check. One, two, three, check. On FM 94.9. My wife is dressed like Hermione. I love it. She just came in the studio and brought Jake, who's dressed like a police officer. I posted a picture of it on our Facebook page. It's weird. Jay has the same police officer uniform, but his pants actually pull off in one swoop. If he wants to, he can just go. They're like basketball pants. That's fantastic. I said, Jakey, you look very handsome. He said, yes, I do. Yes, I do. Hey, come over here, Bob. We're going to play. He loves, he wants to play. And I told him the next time he came in, we couldn't. No, no, no. Don't let him do that, babe. He's going to fall. Okay. Get the big microphone. You want to put these on? Yeah. Okay. Make sure they're turned down low enough. Yeah, yeah. They're turned down low enough.
Testing, testing, one, two, three, one, two, three, four, five, six, test one, two. There we go. Ready? All right, you got to put on the headphones. Aw, look at that. All right, can you hear me? Yes, I can. Okay, good. All right, bud, we're going to play smart guy. Okay. Okay, do you want a person or a place or a thing? A thing. You want a thing? Yes. Okay, well, you get, let me see, you get seven clues. And then after seven clues, you don't get any more. But you want a thing, right? Yes. Okay. It has a lot of children in it. Hey, we got to move this gang along here, buddy. So you got to take a guess. I have another. You know what? I have another thing I want to give you. I have another thing. That was too hard. Here's the other thing. It has got six strings on it. No. It has a hole.
Right in the middle of it. Hurry, buddy. No, it's not me. Oh, wow. Is it me? No, buddy. I do not. No, you don't have to. It is a musical instrument. That's right. Smart guy. You are the smart guy. Who's the smart guy? You're a smart guy. You got it. It was a guitar. Good job. He ripped off those headphones. He's like, all right, that's all I came here for. I'll see you later. Just want to play smart guy. Good night, everybody. There he goes. Why does he want the microphone so bad? He wants to perform. He's a rock star. Oh, yeah. He loves the microphone. Okay, yeah. Do your thing. Look at him tapping on the microphone. Check, check. Check, check. Wait a minute. Let me see. Hang on. Hang on. Is that on? Go ahead. No. Jay? He's giving orders. Jay's coming in here. He does this bit with a microphone. I love it. He's tapping on the microphone. Are you testing it? He's testing it to see if it works.
You're a professional. Is this going to come up? This is my son, Jake. He's five. Big day. Big Halloween. Big Halloween. He's really, really shy. Can't talk to people, as you can see. Yes, obviously. He's telling Jay, get your S together. Yeah, he's like sibilance. Sibilance. Jay's his roadie. Okay, you can talk. Ooh, there we go. Okay. Now, today is a wonderful day because today I know what... It is feeling to be ready. Because I was driving along the street. I think I saw a taxi cab over there. That's right. And that's called the 163, buddy. 163? Mm-hmm. Oh, now I got it? So what's it called? Yeah. No, no, no. What's that street I just told you? What's that called? What are the numbers? Who remembers? I remember. Okay. Me? L-O-B? Yes. It's the 163. Yes!
It's 163. You should be a game show host. 163? Yes, it's 163. Got to talk in your microphone, buddy. You know what it is. Sing us a song. What song do you like the most? How about Mean? Someday I'll be. No, no, no. I want to hear a song. We want to hear a song. Otherwise, we have to turn off your microphone. Okay. So what song you pick? I think it's going to be something I really can't. Okay, sing it. Okay. I think it's this song, number six, Taylor Swift. Okay, let's hear it. Let's hear it. Song number six from the CD. How's it go? Into the microphone, buddy. Okay, here we go. You.
In the mic. In the mic. In the mic. Yay, buddy. Good job. That was awesome. All right, I had to turn his mic off. That's fantastic. He'll keep going. All right, buddy. End of the show. I love you. Come here. Give me a kiss. That was great. I love you. Love you, buddy. I love that kid. He's such a sweetheart. He's such a sweet little kid. Hey, give your Uncle Woods a hug. Give Uncle Woods a hug, buddy.
He wants to go, buddy. I know. Give Uncle Woods a hug. I had no idea Rebecca was going to be Hermione. It's pretty cool. Are you going to wear your hat when you go? Oh, yeah. Don't forget his hat. Bye, buddy. Bye, buddy. Hang on. Let mommy open that. Luke could have handled that with one hand. Oh, my gosh. That was so good. Did you just say Rebecca was so cute? No. Oh, okay. Because that's what I was thinking. She is. Oh, gosh, Jay. Creep. She put a spell on me. Oh, my gosh. She has a wand in her hand. I like the way she hands that wand. And Jay is a big Harry Potter fan, actually. Yes, indeed. Jay is a big Harry, that's for sure. Oh, wow. Big nerd. Do not go in there. Woo! Should have seen him on the course about seven times as your nation. Why? On the course again. On the course, yeah. I can't hold it. I can. I'm just drinking.
I'm in constant, man. And it's funny, too. The other guys in the other cart were going, same thing on the fairway. They were doing it to impress you. No, they weren't. Well, they saw one guy do it. It's standard operating procedure. It's really not. Until you get arrested. Nobody's arresting anybody on a golf course. Jake's going to arrest you. He's dressed as a cop. That's true. Here is a judge getting mad at Michael Lowen for breaking the restraining order against his girlfriend. Let me explain something. It doesn't matter if she called you a hundred times after you got in jail. Judge Heinrich doesn't have a court order on her. She has a court order on you. Right, ma'am. So as we tell people with injunctions when they get injunctions or no contact orders, it's your responsibility because you're under the court order. And if she called you five times, you should have ignored the calls and not called back. If, I said if. The bottom line is the officer was there when the phone rang. The officer asked her to put it on speakerphone. The officer heard your voice. I don't care who dialed it or who else was there with you. You had contact with her. I mean, almost, what, within a day of Judge Heinrich? Not even 24 hours. Your Honor, I didn't have contact. I was not talking to Kate. I'm ready to set bond. Your Honor, I've got a question. You ever heard of a freaking butt dial? It's a butt dial. It was in my cargo shorts. Why were you screaming at him?
Why were you screaming at her? Your Honor, I was screaming at the television. It's a butt dial. I wonder where Lindsay gets it from. I don't know what you're talking about. A lot of excuses, sir. It was a butt dial. I got the new iPhone. I don't even know how to work it. Why were you talking and referring to her by name? I was talking to the television. I watched the program. It's a guiding light. I was screaming at the television. That's your problem. You're always talking? I'm always talking. 570-1949. Listen to this. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, go on. Listen to this. I hate this bit. Mikey, my four-year-old son's going to be Dora the Explorer for Halloween. What? And my husband is mad. Yeah. Do you guys see anything wrong with it? He's four and one Lucy. Yes. It's a boy. Yeah, he's a boy dressing as a girl. He doesn't have a choice. He doesn't know. He doesn't have the wherewithal to be able to go, this is a girl outfit. That's what parents are for. Yeah. You, as a mom, think it's a real funny ha-ha. It's real cute. Yeah, take pictures. Ha-ha-ha. Transgender. Ha-ha-ha. Confusing ha-ha-ha. What would you guys do if he wouldn't stop crying until he got the costume? Put him in a ghost costume. Tell him to man up. If that works, then you're in trouble. If a kid cries and you give him his way just because he cries, he's always going to cry. Yeah. He'll figure it out. I'll be like, oh, I get it. I know that. Anything I want. I'm just saying. Yeah. He's throwing a fit. You're in the store. Hey, you're four years old. You're going to be a caveman. You let him watch Dora the Explorer.
Well, then why not pick something on Dora the Explorer that's a boy? Yeah, don't be a girl. Yeah, the monkey or something. Yeah, be something. It's a little over the top. What if he wants to be a princess? Yeah, where does it stop? Where does it stop? I couldn't do it. I used to babysit a kid that did it. You dress in dresses, princess costumes, painted fingernails. Oh, boy. Hey, Mom. Fake makeup. Maybe have him be a boy. Yeah, maybe don't put him in a Hooters costume for Halloween. You take 85 pictures. I think it's so funny. It's so funny. Yeah, I'm not down with that. And then when he's getting married, you show those pictures. He's like, great. I didn't know any better. Thanks for stepping in, Dad. Really appreciate it. Pretty manly, Pop. Thanks for balling up on that one. Speaking of balling. Don't talk about balling. Sorry about your dead child. It's not a dead child. It's your dead baby. Symbolic of a dead baby.
You were babysitting for a week. You broke him. You try watching an egg for a week. It's very fragile. That bit. I was very careful with him. Were you? Yes. You threw him to the driveway. We have a picture on Facebook that doesn't look so careful. Look, it's Monday morning. I wake up very early. It's been a long weekend. It's dark out. I'm scared. Sting said it best. How fragile. Yes. Those little eggs are. You know, that egg relied on you. That's right. I know, but it's not meant to be carried around like that. Relied on you. Even chickens couldn't do a better job. I just picture staying up there with no deodorant singing the U. Long ass neck on his bass guitar. Six feet long. His hand, it's stressed out as far as it'll go. Just billowy pants. No shoes.
No shirt. Wife beater. Under-arm hair sticking out of his old man's skin, coming and just poking through. It's the longest face ever. Smell of patchouli everywhere. Do you have a 12-foot neck? I'd like a 12-foot neck on this one. This is really a two-foot neck. It won't do. I need 12 feet. There's a friend of mine named Ryan Bingham. A song called We're Kind. When we come back, we'll take your phone calls. And we will also riff on the news. With nothing to lose. This ain't no place for the weary kind. 570-1949. Or text 949Mikey at gmail.com. It might seem hard to lead a healthy life today, but it's easy when you practice the ancient art of on-the-side-ism. Let's start with salad. Just have the ranch, the Roquefort, the Italian, or the Thousand Island on the side. Put the mayo on the side of your turkey sandwich. And leave the butter and sour cream as optional equipment on your baked potato. On-the-side-ism fears no sassy waitress, snooty chef, or emasculating comment from a friend. And it isn't just a way around the menu, it's a way of life. It's a towel. So go ahead, work those long hours at the office, but make sure to have some playing with the kids on the side. For every hour you're stuck in traffic, make sure you have a minute of bike riding on the side. Zone out in front of the TV, but go out dancing on the side. It's an easy ideal to practice, but at Kaiser Permanente... We think this mantra of moderation can have big-time results on the way you look, the way you feel, and the way you thrive. The dirty, creepy pig in my head. Lauren. Do you have coconut water? And Jake. I'm wearing cargo shorts right now. On FM 94.9. I think I skipped one. And the one I think I skipped is Sweet Emotion. No, you played it. I did? Yeah. Let's tell you what you skipped, pal. Alice in Chains. Damn that river. Is that what it was? I believe. Oh, no. In the dark. Billy Squire, pal. That's what you skipped. Where's that? Or Clementine, as I called it when I was a kid.
That's what I thought he said. Clementine. Brilliant child. It's not even close, really. It's not even close. Breaking news. Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce. Weird. Give me a break. How many days was? 72. 72. Just in time to let the show air. I bet you she was under contract. My wife said she watched this weekend. When I got home from baseball yesterday, she goes, You would hate her. And I'd go, why? Jamie, who never has a bad word to say, she goes, that girl is a B. Straight up. Is she a B? I watched it with Liberty yesterday. Don't give me a caveat. She forced me. No, I went in there. Liberty was flipping back and forth between that and the Gilmore Girls. Two of your favorites. Two of my favorites. I was just sitting there, hungover. And it was...
They're just so mean. Everything they have to say out of each other's mouths. Nobody's nice to anybody. And the mom had gotten like a facelift. It starts from the mom on down. That is what should offend you about this country. Not Herman Cain's guy smoking a cigarette. That does too. They both can. But they're not running for anything. Yeah, dude. No kidding. But they are who your child and Jay's children. That's who they look up to. Imagine if they were running for president. But they're not. Maybe they will. I wouldn't be surprised. They are everything that's wrong with this country. I'm sure I wouldn't like it, and I'm sure it would upset me. 72 days, dude. Her second marriage. It's so sad. That woman is one of the most beautiful women. Yeah, she really is. And she's just a jerk. That's the problem, though. But she didn't pay for it. The show did. The wedding, actually, I just read it was... I'm like, gossip boy. I was reading it was $10 million the wedding cost. Oh, I heard it was $18 million. The wedding. That was paid for. Millions of dollars? Her cake was $6,000. For one day. One day. Come on, man. And apparently, now I read this in Us Weekly or something like that. They were saying the whole thing. I didn't watch it. The whole thing was orchestrated to be like a TV show.
There was no, even Kim, when she's walking down the aisle and saying her vows, she's like looking at the camera being like, I do. I promise to take you as my lawfully wedded husband. Hi, Kimberly. Hi, Kimberly. Gosh darn, that is a sexy voice. That's how she talks. Hi, Kimberly. Take you, Chris. Oh, dude, and he is kind of Captain Douchebag himself. He's an NBA player. They're on strike, so he has been out just tearing up the nightclubs, doing his bit. People just want what they want. I want to do whatever I want to do. M1 Jamie from Oceanside. Hiya, Mikey? Yeah. So I heard about the Dora the Explorer thing and how you're concerned over the four-year-old boy wanting to dress up as Dora the Explorer. Hang on. Hang on. Dora the Explorer. She's talking about this. Lady that texted us said her husband's upset because she's going to dress her kid as Dora the Explorer. He's a little boy. He's four. I'm not concerned. Okay? I'm not concerned. I just think it's lame. I think that, you know, they should dress as little boys. And now you say that and you're a monster if you say that. Right. We're in such a PC world that if you say, oh, I want my little boy to dress like a little boy.
And not Dora the Explorer. Then you're a hate monger. You're, you know, you're yes on eight. You're something. You're everything bad. You know, whereas back in the day, my dad would have been like, this is a conversation. Yeah. Yeah. You're not dressed up as Bette Midler. Yeah. I mean, Bette Midler. And it's just no conversation. And it didn't take a long. That was the 70s. In the 70s, my dad would say, he's not Bette Midler. Yeah, that was it. He's a boy. Dress him as a boy. Dress him as an Indian. Yes. Cowboy. If he's gay, he's going to grow up to be gay anyway. It's not a gay issue. It's just a, he's my son. That's the way dads think. Moms think it's cute. Yes. Yeah. Moms think it's cute. This whole gender role thing, like what if the girl wants to dress up as Frankenstein or something? There's no problem with that. I don't have a problem with that. I think it's cute. There's definitely a little bit of a double standard. Yeah, it's a double standard. Like from my perspective, it's the other kids that would ridicule him. Yeah. That I wouldn't want, you know. I just wouldn't want to invite that stuff upon my kid. Come on. I wouldn't either, but I mean, if I were a parent and had a child, I think I'd rather him express himself the way he wanted.
Oh, my gosh. It's the Starbucks mom syndrome. He's four, man. He's four. It's the Starbucks mom syndrome. It's the syndrome where you see the lady at Starbucks, the kid slaps mom in the face, and she goes, Billy, that is not the proper way to express your feelings. Tell a Mexican mom that. Yeah. Tell a Southern mom that. Yeah. Tell a black mom that. She's like, Chad, you ain't gonna hit me. You ain't gonna hit me. My mom. was not the Starbucks mom. Now, I'm not saying that mom was like the best at everything. I'm just saying she wasn't going to put up with me. I've seen kids at Starbucks slapping mom. I'm like, oh my gosh. Not my kids. Let's discuss our feelings and all that stuff. Oh boy, with that stuff. It kills me. It kills. It's a wussification of America. If you ask me. Dora, isn't there boys on Dora?
Besides the monkey? Oh, the monkey. That's all I know. I don't even know if the monkey's a boy. But the boy wants to be Dora. Let him be at the house, maybe? But why not in public? Why not take him for a perm? Just get him permed up. Perm him up. Just perm them up. He learned that from watching you. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I just got a head rush. Oh, my gosh. I just got a head rush. What? There's nothing wrong with a perm? Little tiny rollers. Perm. Perm them up. Is there still perms? I want one. If you wanted to today, could you call a place and get a perm? Yeah. Permanent. A permanent? Yeah, you could. When I had my hair long, I was going to... I was going to go. He wanted a perm. I wanted to get one just to see what it would do. Woods, I would have given you anything you wanted. I'll do it. Anything you want. I'll just grow it back and do a perm. A perm. A perm it and then relax it. Yeah, I'll do it. Dora has a guy friend. It's Diego. Yeah, Diego. There you go. Yeah, be Diego. When I was a kid, the cool thing was the mullet. The curly mullet.
Oh, yeah, in the back. Yeah. Accrelet. Well, no, no, no. Sorry. It wasn't a mullet. It wasn't exactly a mullet. It was kind of a wave. It was a body wave. Like a hockey haircut. Do you remember? Yes. They called it Kentucky Waterfall. Kentucky Waterfall. Yes. Kentucky Waterfall. Kentucky Waterfall. I've never heard that. Kentucky Waterfall. You pick it. Now, if you had... Squirrel pelt. Yes. Now, if you had straight Mexican hair like me, you had to go get a body wave. Which costs like $30. There was no way my mom was spending $30. We go down to Long's and we buy the Clairol. Soul Glow. Body Wave. Homemade. It stinks like vinegar or whatever it is. Vinegar and eggs. It's like ammonia. It's like Ajax. It melts off your eyelashes. There was no wave. Little... tight Michael Jackson ringlets. That's what you got? Oh, yeah. And I was mortified. And that was my first driver's license picture. Oh, do you have it? If I did, I promise you I'd show you. I promise you. It would be the greatest. I know. I would murder to see L.O.B. I would murder to see L.O.B. with a short perm. Oh, my God. What did you give to have him in a perm? Well, a Maxi Mullet would be genius on him. Oh, it was.
Tight, little tight curls. Little curls. Humiliating. It was the most humiliating thing. And me standing and smiling for my first driver's license picture. Oh my gosh. Did you carry a pick? No. That's too bad. Fair question. Legitimate question. Did you ever get a comb stuck in there? Did a girl ever have to wipe her hands on her pants after she got through running her fingers through your hair? Well. Well, there's no... Oh, boy. I never have had my fingers run through my hair. I bet that would be fun. It was. It was great. Puss in Boots was the number one film. Yep. Really? 36-year-old adult man. That's the way you said it, not what you said. Puss in Boots was the number one movie. I don't know how you say it. I win. How is it? It looks good. It was pretty good. I didn't love it, but my father liked it all right. Did you see it in 3D? No, she can't hang with 3D yet. She doesn't like it. Large Hispanic audience made up 35% of the audience this weekend. Sweet. Puss in boots. That's the cat from Shrek. Yes.
Like fencing? Yes. It's called a sword. Yes. But it's a, you know. On guard. On guard. You're right. Yes. It was cute. Shrek's not in it, though. I was disappointed. It's not rated G. What? It's rated PG. Really? Yeah, for what? There's a little bit of, like, adult... Nudity? Yes. Partial nudity. Partial nudity. Partial nudity. Did you say ASS? No, but there's a few how they sneak in the innuendo for their own audience. There's some of that. Yeah, like the P word. In the title. Yeah, kids are like, Mom, why are you laughing? Never mind. Never mind. I thought of something funny. Something your dad said. Something he said. Hillary, what do you got coming up? Well, tickets to the FM 94.9 Holiday Hootenanny go on sale at 10 a.m. Yeah. Right now. Yeah.
Get on at FM949SD.com. I will play some of those hootenanny bands. I also grab very scary music from the Black Keys and Mastodon. Nice. Happy Halloween. Happy Halloween. Lovely and talented Hillary is up next. We'll be back here tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. We'll do it all over again. The Mikey Show's out. Good.
