Hello, hello. Can anybody hear us? You're not hearing anything, you guys? I got it. Yeah, I got it. Sounds normal? Yeah, somewhat. There you go. We're ready. If you can hear us and we're on the air, give us a call, 570-1949. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of The Mikey Show. Hello, Mike. I am 41 years of age and from the garlic capital of the world. Go Roy, California. Is that right, Ray? It's the garlic capital of the world. Got the big garlic festival there. And it's where about 100,000 people go and have some beer and get into fistfights. So, you know. That's awesome. So you have that. Is that where your affinity for garlic fries comes from? Yeah. Because you do love. I love anything garlic. You love some garlic fries. Is there anything better than the smell of butter with garlic?
put into it. In a pan? Just sauteing? Oh, dude. Forget it. Good for you, too. Yeah, it is. Somebody pour some white wine in that? Mm-hmm. Delicious. Woodsy is our sports guy. He is 36 years of age. Yes. And he celebrated his anniversary last night with his wife. Yes. It's pretty cool. L.O.B. is freezing cold. Yes. And she is... Freezing cold probably because she's a girl mostly. No, it's pretty cold in here. Woodsy's got on a thermal. And a skull cap. I'm still cold. Yeah, you get cold too. I have a lot of layers of fat. I have a lot of layers. We're under the vent. That is true. Straight isolate. I don't want to do that. Straight isolate. She just said, I don't want to do that. Since when? I have a heart. She has a heart. When it comes to Mikey fat jokes, no you don't. Ella B is the blondie, 30 years of age. She's wearing a pink scarf today. Jay is 48. He's the father of four. Married to a girl that was in a double mint commercial. And our phone screener is Chris. It's Chris! Word of the day, monkey. When you hear me say that between now and 10, you just call us up.
At 570-1949, I'll give you a pair of tickets to see City and Color on Tuesday night. Which is sold out, by the way. Sold out. That's pretty rad. So listen up if you want those. That's right. So we have... Our first story today is a little funny. Funny and not funny. I mean, it's not funny if you're Nickelback. Funny if you're me. Funny if you're me. Yeah. What's the deal, Woods? Well... You know, Thanksgiving is an awesome time of year. We all look forward to going to somebody's house, sitting down to a meal, and then it's football time. And there's, what, before there was like one game. Now I think there's two games. Well, Green Bay and Detroit are one of those games. The game's going to take place in Detroit. And the halftime show was scheduled to be Canadian rock band Nickelback. Well, fans in Detroit got so upset that they started. They started a petition. Wow. They started a petition. And on the website where you can go sign this petition, it says, quote, this game is nationally televised. Do we really want the rest of the U.S. to associate Detroit with Nickelback? Oh, wow. Detroit is home to so many great musicians, and they chose Nickelback. Does anyone even like Nickelback? Is this some sort of ploy to get people to leave their seats during halftime to spend money on alcoholic beverages and concessions?
This is unfair to those that purchase tickets. The Lions ought to think about their fans before choosing such an awful band to play at halftime. Listen, it's pretty sad. You know what? This is the second time it's happened to Nickelback. A Canadian hockey team, the Winnipeg Jets, one of the music critics in that town, petitioned NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman to have Nickelback not play their home opener. Are you kidding? Nickelback's Canadian. This was in Canada. Oh, wow. Dude, listen. That band has had to endure a lot of you suck. I have a theory on them. If he cut his hair, I think people would like him better. I'm not kidding. If he cut that stringy, soul glow hair. Well, if he stopped recording while he was dropping a dude. That's another one, too. That might help. I like his voice. Who do you know who the hell? I like the sound of it. She loves to. Look at this. Isolate. Well, you know. I agree with that. And I also think that it doesn't help that he considers himself such a badass and a rock star. That's a big part of the problem. And I think that people don't appreciate that. Cut that stringy hair. Yeah. Get you a nice, fresh PhD. I'll send you to my girl down there. Perfect haircut. Perfect haircut. Come out and just rock the house. That's what I'm saying. Man. L-O-B what?
Are you drinking? It's a smoothie. Mm-hmm. It's a fruit and vegetable smoothie. Oh, gosh. Consisting mainly of kale and beets. Have you ever seen any fruits that are black? It's not black. It's the color of the cup that is deceiving you. Most of its color is derived from the beet, you see. It's a poofy. So it's almost like a maroon. Dioruthy? No. It's a dioruthy. No. It's a smoo. No. That's smooth. That's what happens when you have stuff that's about to go bad and you're like, I can't eat all that. No, no, no, no, no. L-O-B, no. She's sipping it through that straw. She can muscle down some stuff, man. Oh, it smells like carrots and throw-ups. It's actually not bad. A lot of lemon in there, apple, carrot, to cut it. Oh, my. Sweet. To cut it. You gotta cut it. You gotta cut it. Kale is very, very strong. Oh, my. Oh, my. Lindsay Lohan's back in the prison bars. It's back behind bars. And she even admitted it this time. It's our internet.
Ever slow. Do you admit that you violated probation by failing to obey all orders of the court with respect to both things that the city attorney represented? Yes, Your Honor. Well, there you go. Well, that's an admission. Wait a minute. I got some more. You got more. I want to hear it. Although the Downtown Women's Center is willing to take you back, I'm not going to put them through that again. I looked into another group called the Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women. They refuse to take you because they said you're a bad example for the women who are trying to get their lives in order. Wow. Wow. So the morgue is willing to keep you. Oh, wow. Soon enough. I mean, if you're let's say you are in denial when the judge says to you they're not willing to take you because you're a bad example. Like, doesn't that strike any chord with you at all? The 12 days. You can do however the morgue schedules you, but you are to abate all of the terms and conditions of the morgue's community service rules. They seem to have an issue with your tweeting. I can't order you to stop tweeting. But if it's one of their rules that you don't tweet about them, don't tweet about them. I've asked them to stop holding press conferences about you, too.
Come to an agreement, the both of you. You don't tweet about them, but that's not an order. I'm just suggesting don't tweet about them. They're not to hold press conferences about you. What does she do there, I wonder, at the morgue? Why is she going back to jail? She violated. Because she didn't show up one day? I don't know. I want to know. Oh, man. At the end of it, you can hear Lindsay Lohan barely saying, oh, thank God. Anything else? Nothing. No, thank you. All right, thank you. We're in recess. Thank you. Yeah. She's happy, I guess, that she only got 30 days. But listen to this about the 30 days. A lot of conversation about how much time will Miss Lindsay Lohan do in our jail after a 30-day sentence. And although I cannot give you specifics because that depends on the fluctuation of the day, I can tell you that probably...
she will be booked in and maybe spend the night and then be released the next day. That's it? A day? A night? Or a month? Yes. I don't know how. I don't know. I don't know how it works. A lot of it has to do with overcrowding and all that, but that's pretty gnarly. That would happen to anybody that got 30 days that you could just spend the night and be done? I got a 60-day sentence. I had to do 20. Because you were good? No, because it was crowded. You get three days credit for every day, sir. No way. You sit one day, they give you three. No way. Oh, yeah, because it's crowded as hell. And, I mean, the crimes that I did, it was drinking and driving. So it wasn't like, you know, there was no danger to society per se. Well, he got behind the wheel and drank again. Oh, God. Right. I think you learned your lesson. Yes, he did. He did.
This is M1 Drew from the Central Coast. What's up? How's it going, guys? Good. I just wanted to let you know that I work seven days a week, and the worst part of my week is actually the weekends, because I wake up at 5.30 in the morning knowing I don't get to listen to you guys. Look at you. Thank you, friend. Sweet. You're an angel. Thank you, bro. No problem. We love you. We love you, too. And you're on the, you said you're on the Central Coast? Yeah, in San Luis Obispo. That was the first place I ever did mornings was in San Luis Obispo. Hey, Jug, or what? Sly 96 FM. Oh, okay. Is it still there? No, I'm originally from Escondido, but I'm here for school, and now I work. Wow, that's cool. Well, thank you, dude. I used to live in Shell Beach. Shut up. Late. Shell Beach. What Mikey was there? Surfer Mikey. Michael Shannon. Oh, please, dude. Come on. Just the voice we're talking about. Yeah, the voice. Oh. What voice did you use back then? Mine. Yours. Yeah. It was the beginning because it was the first time that I could do like me. Yeah. And so I wasn't, I didn't even know to be a surfer yet. I actually came, I went from being me to not being me to being me. Yeah. The period that I was not me.
I did okay, but I was pretending to be like a surfer guy. What's up? It's Rock 102. What's up? It's Mikey. Oh, it's so good. That is so good. Oh, man. Make your stomach turn a little bit to think about. Minus the little bit. Oh, what horrific radio days. This is Herman Cain getting pissed. Don't ask me about the... Allegations anymore. I don't want to hear about it. Let me say one thing. I'm here with these doctors and that's what I'm going to talk about. So don't even bother asking me all of these other questions that you all are curious about. OK, don't even bother. But are you concerned about the fact that these women do want to come forward? Are you concerned about what? Excuse me. Excuse me. Rick Ross was the rapper of Rick Ross. He had a seizure. What part of no don't sell people in this game? Wow. Yeah, what part of no do you not understand? He's mad. He's done, right? No. No? This isn't enough to knock him? No. No.
He's got a lot of people that really believe in him. He sexually harassed women and they had to pay his restaurant association to pay them off. Dude, Clarence Thomas put a pubic hair onto a Coca-Cola can as a joke. Gave it to Anita. What was her name? Anita Hill. What? It's pretty funny. It isn't funny. It's something he would do. It's kind of funny. It's not funny. It's funny. Depends on your relationship with the person. No, man. I mean, I wouldn't do that. You don't do that. Like, well, you're going to, if you don't know that girl. I'd do it to Jay. Yeah. Let me tell you. I've done it to Jay. The only way that you could do that is if the girl did that to you first. Right. Yeah. I did it on the clippers that we cut your hair with. Oh, yeah. It's true. He did. That is the filthiest thing ever. Yeah. Reporting live from Otay Mesa. All right, so I'm going to play you this audio in just a second of this peeping Tom. Listen to this. This story is the creepiest story. Wait till you hear how many peeping underskirts this guy had done. Videos. Videos that this guy had done. They just arrested this guy.
Jay, how much was your bail to get here this morning? No word. He just smiled at you. That's all he did. He just looked at you and smiled as you said that was. And now we have an exclusive story about a North County man accused of taking more than 2,100 photos and videos up the skirts of women and teenage girls. NBC7 was the only organization that was on the scene when the suspect was arrested. You don't have anything to say to the victims? Didn't you know that it was wrong to do that? Well, the suspect... The questions, by the way. No, I had no idea. 23-year-old Julio Cesar Garcia, who was taken into custody at his home in Valley Center. Investigators say it is one of the worst cases they've ever seen. There almost appears there to be nothing that scares him, and there's nothing that he's not willing to do. I wonder, how do you identify four of them? How do you even know? Unless he, like, labeled it? Maybe. Because, you know...
Otherwise, you're looking at a picture as a cop. You don't know who it is unless you personally know the person. Security cam, then go watch their, go see if they check out their credit card. Oh, yeah, I gotcha. A female neighbor of Garcia's on the phone. Police are now, they're asking for your help in identifying more victims that may be out there. If you have any information, you are asked to call police. San Diego. Pretty creepy. So he uses his phone and just goes and... Clicks under the skirt. Yeah. And he did it to over 2,300 women. 2,100. 2,100 women. He's not a creep. 2,300. That's a little excessive. Right. I'm going to have to look through those and see if I'm one of the victims. Oh, my gosh. Well, let me tell you. That dude, he's going away. Oh, yeah. You're going away for a while. They don't like the sex perverts in the jail system. They do not like those deviants in there. Yeah. You don't get on well. 570. I'm not going in. 194.9. is our number. Give us a call. We'd love to talk to you about what's happening. I posted a video last night on our Facebook page of just what a typical night at my house looks like. And you can check it out by going to facebook.com slash Mikey Show. M-I-K-E-Y S-H-O-W dot com. And it's loud. It's very loud. That's all I'll tell you. It's funny. It's loud.
Last night was your anniversary. Yes. You went to Itrulli. Oh, man, that place is badass. If you want a special occasion, great Italian food, it's a place. We had the caprese salad for appetizers, the big thick tomatoes with the mozzarella on top. And then the little balsamic on top of that. Dude. It's in Encinitas. Yes. So good. I had a filet with gorgonzola. Weird. Did you keep the gorgonzola? Yeah. I've never enjoyed that flavor on a steak. I do. I like it. It doesn't seem like a likely combo. It is a really good combo. Jamie had the angel hair with mozzarella. Mozzarella. Diced tomatoes. Yeah. Yummy. And I might have taken home, I might have taken home a giant fresh cannoli. Oh, wow. And eaten it in my bed with my bare hands. And might have spilled some on my chest. And then brushed it off. Oh, wow. Yeah. Right across the chest hairs and everything. And she looked at me. Done it. She looked at me like, are you freaking kidding me right now? You're a savage. I brought you a fork. I go, I don't need a fork. It's a cannoli. It's got its own handle. It has its own handle on it. So good. Gating in bed. She's a lucky woman. She is. She is. Wood's a great husband. He's dynamic at least. That's right.
Your wife is now vegetarian. Yeah, it's awesome. She is? Yes. Nice. She hasn't touched meat. That could be a problem. And Mike, if you didn't get that joke, the double entendre I'm trying to throw out there, I mean, you know, like when he said meat, like just pretend, Mike, that that stands for wiener. That's a joke. Get it? Some guys refer to, you know, like meat. Got it. We got it. We got it. Everybody got it. Everybody got it. But yeah, she won't eat chicken, meat, or fish. Oh, wow. She said yesterday, she goes, the only things I like are pasta and lettuce. I said, oh. What happened? Lucky me. I don't know. She goes, I'll put a certain kind of food in my mouth and it makes me sick.
Well, that happened with Rebecca, and it was that movie, The Cove. She'd been feeling that way for a while, Rebecca, and then she saw The Cove, and she was out on eating meat. Rebecca won't eat... She'll eat chicken, though, won't she? Nothing. Oh, nothing. She was already out on seafood, and then she saw that movie? Mm-hmm. Wow. She didn't know what it was. It was my... I did it. It's me. Yeah. I was like, hey, I heard... We were on vacation. It was late at night, and... We were looking at movies, and I go, how about The Cove? She goes, what is it? I go, it's a documentary about, and it's got that chick from TV, Hayden Pantieri, who's on that show Heroes, the blonde girl that plays the cheerleader on the show. She's like a big activist, and she's in the movie, like protesting in Japan. And Rebecca goes, oh, okay, let's watch it. So I saw about 10 minutes of it and fell asleep. She watched the whole thing. The next day, I woke up. She was vegetarian. And I go, how long is that going to last? Well, guess what? That was, what, eight months ago? No. It was well over a year and a half ago. Is that right? Yeah. Holy cow. Oh, yeah. Yeah, so your wife with the salad sandwiches that she eats. Now my wife is all the way in on salad sandwiches. Salad sandwiches. And pasta. She'll still eat pasta. But, I mean, dude, we no longer cook at my home. By we, I mean her. If I want to eat, I cook.
I make a grilled cheese or a fried egg sandwich. Hey, I got no problem with it. Ooh, what about a grilled cheese with a fried egg in it? You love the fried egg on stuff. Gosh darn, that's good. I don't know. 570-1949 is our number. Trick-or-treaters, you might want to hold on to the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups because the price of peanut butter is going to go up. Uh-oh. A lot. Ella B., do you like it? I like almond butter better, but I do like peanut butter. Well, here's the deal. 40% increase starting Monday for Kraft and the little planter's peanut butter sandwiches. Then there's going to be a 20% increase for Peter Pan. I like Peter Pan. It's not my favorite. My favorite is... The Crunchy. Skippy. Skippy. Skippy Crunchy. I'm a Jiff guy. You're Jiff? Creamy Jiff. Jiff. Jiff's good too. You know what? Every once in a while, it's fun to just get a different brand. Oh, yeah. If you're a Jiff guy, every once in a while, treat yourself. Yeah, get some Skippy. Yeah, Skippy, Peter Pan. Jump around. Can't go back. I've had organic. Yeah. Oh, God. Just kill me now. You have to mix it up real quick. Just kill me. Strike me with lightning. Really? Yeah, you can't go back. You can't go back. Otherwise, it's just too sweet. Once you go.
Organic. You can't go back. That old hackneyed phrase. You take the unsweetened kind and then the oil gathers on the top. Wouldn't it be awesome if the real Jay would come on the radio? I would love it. Wouldn't you? And he said this. Here's how it would really sound. Listen, Mike, truth be known, Kim made me dead. She did. I don't have a choice, man. She forced me, man. You know what it tastes like? A fresh turd. Tastes like butt. Tastes like butt. I kicked and screamed the whole way. But you know what, man? I ain't going to the store to pick up. Freaking peanut butter. I'll eat what I get. I'll eat what I get. I cannot go back. I've tried to go back. I'm like, yeah, going back. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I get there and it's like. If you made him a peanut butter sandwich right now with Jeff, he'd be like. It'd be like heroin. Yeah, it'd be like heroin. I'm telling you, you fight it. But once you get there, you're so much happier. It's like the sugar for you, Mike. If you have a full soda right now, you'd be like. Smuckers, who makes Jif? You got a 30% increase, pal. All right? Those Smuckers. 30% increase. They make Smuckers natural, Jay. It's just got a little bit more sugar. A lot more sugar. Oh, boy. Have you guys ever had goobers? Hardcore. Goobers? No, not goobers. Dude, that's just straight up. That's straight up. That's just straight up.
With the jelly and the peanut butter in it. Mixed in the jar. You ever seen that? I've seen it, but I've never had it. I've never tried it. I want to try it. Oh, yeah. I mean, you just listen. You've given up. If you're on goobers, you've given up. If you're on goobers, you're done? Yeah, it means you've started with a needle. What about the fluff? I don't have time for two jars. Oh, the fluff's good. The fluffernutter sandwiches. You're a pervert. You're a sexual deviant. If you eat fluffernutter, you're a pervert. You're a sex pervert. Marshmallow dream, you're a pervert. Kim and I used to eat it all the time. We're going to do smart guy next. And so that means we need some callers. What's the prize, Jay? Today's prize is lunch for four at Carl's Jr.'s. Try out the all new steak house $6 burger. All right. So call us 570-1949. And I'm also going to tell you the age that you're most content with yourself.

Well, it looks like San Marcos on the 78 eastbound at Twin Oaks Valley Road. There's a bunch of debris that's all across the slow lane. Also on the 8 westbound College Avenue, there's a traffic problem. Looks like some police activity there over on the right shoulder. This report is brought to you by the Nissan Leaf Tour. Come check out the Drive Electric Tour. It's sponsored by the 100% electric zero gas Nissan Leaf, November 11th through the 13th at Snow Jam, San Diego. For more info, go to DriveNissanLeaf.com. I'm Stacey Cohen, FM. I hate to get up in the morning. And now back to the Mikey Show. Oh, yeah. Mike. Mikey. I'm in love with Woods. Yeah, that's it. Woods. I'm so lonely. Lauren. I'm a lyricist. And Jay. Hey, I like to skateboard. On FM 94.9. This is a new Coldplay song called Us Against the World. Where are the days, Monkey? When I say it and you're Caller 9, you're going to see City in Color. We're going to be playing Smart Guy in just a moment. Where is Smart Guy? What? I didn't touch that. I don't touch anything in here. Don't. This is my space. You. And I don't touch anything. Yeah, right. That guitar in this space. That's it. Why did your pants just catch on fire? They didn't. Fire. What do I touch in here? I don't do anything. That couch, the guitar.
All right, first I'm going to give you this. All right. Clowns. First I'm going to give you, and then we're going to play Smart Guy. By the way, Smart Guy, you get seven clues to a person, place, or thing. In fact, we should change the name because I've seen a lot of listeners refer to it that way. They think that it's called person, place, or thing. We should. Yeah, why not? But then I can't yell out. Smart guy. Yeah, we want to call him smart guy. The age you're most content in your life is 38. All right? The age you're most content in your life is 38. Now listen to this. Well, the number changes a little bit, L.O.B., depending on your marital status. Uh-oh. 37. That's rude. No. L.O.B., married people feel most content at 42. So apparently for me, next year is going to be a big year. Hell yeah. Single people feel the most content at 27. Perfect. If you're in your mid to late 30s, you feel the most content. Most successful, the most socially satisfied, according to this survey. And then after that, it's really all downhill. 27 was a darn good year. Always is. Always on top of my game. Yeah.
Women are very pretty at 27, and guys look really great at 27. That's when I met my wife. Yeah. I was in good shape, making a lot of money. It was one of the only times in my life I was in good shape. 27. I was a pistol then. I was in shape at 15 and 27. That's it. Let's see. All right, it's time to play Smart Guy. And you call us at 570-1949. And you can also... Yeah, just call us. I was going to say we'll play for you too, but that's not the case. You're just going to play for yourself. This is M1 Dova Boy from Ramona. Are you there? Yes, I am. What would you like? A person, place, or thing? All right. And again, seven clues to figure it out. Here we go. I'm a domestic bird. Nope. I am raised for meat and eggs. Chicken? No.
Water rolls off my back feathers. Duck. That is correct. Smart guy. Smart guy. Smart guy. Smart guy. Well done. You just won probably like a hamburger or something. Lunch for four. Four hamburgers. Oh, for four. You won four hamburgers. Awesome. Literally feast. Hang on. Let's see. M1, meet a reader from Oceanside. What do you want? A person, place, or thing? Thing. A thing. All right. He's playing for a pair of tickets to see the San Diego Derby Dolls this Saturday at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. There you go. Nice. I am a mammal. Nope. I live in Africa and Asia. I love it. No. I'm a pachyderm or a thick-skinned animal. Nope. I am the third largest and heaviest land animal. Isolate. You're out.
Woods, you freaking jerk. I was thinking it. Only the elephant and hippo are bigger than me. No. Isolate that. Most species of me are endangered. Yes, smart guy. Look at the smart guy. You're going to see the Derby dolls hanging in line. And this is M1 Nubian Prince. Good morning. Hello, Bree. Nubian Prince from Sarah Mesa. Good morning, bro. Good morning, brothers and sisters. What would you like? A person, place, or thing? You want a thing. You want a thing. Okay. All right, you got seven clues to figure it out. I have a slender neck. Slender neck. No. I have a shapely body. Nope.
Some enjoy putting their lips to my mouth. You should let me read this one. Nope. I can sometimes be on the chilly side. Nope. Question number five. I can be made of glass or plastic. Nope. Did you say bong? Nope. Nope. And question number six. I'm a container for holding liquid. Nope. And here's your last question. I compete with cans. That would be like a plastic container. The answer was bottle. It was a bottle. It was a bottle. It was a bottle. It's okay. It's okay. Thank you, Nubian Prince. Thank you. All right, Woods. Yeah, I'm ready. What do you want? Let's go with the person. Switch it up a little bit. You got it. You're crazy. You got it.
I'm a U.S. singing and performing legend. Mike Esparza. Nope. I claim I was born in Little Richard's Georgia hometown. Kanye. Nope. I'm the third. Oh, excuse me. I'm the hardest working man in show business. James Brown. That's it, buddy. You are a smart guy. Smart guy. Smart guy. L.O.B. person, place, or thing? I'm going to switch it up into a place. Whoa. You go crazy, too. It's awesome. Places scare me real good. I am a city in the southern hemisphere. Bogota. Good guess. No. Okay. Bogota? Is that what I meant? I'm an island country. Jamaica? Nope. Jamaica. I like the way Mikey looks at me when he says it. I am its biggest city. I am its biggest city. What the heck does that mean? Sydney. Holy cow!
Smart guy. Smart guy. Holy cow, L.O.B. That was awesome. Smart girl. Gosh, darn it. Yeah. Three questions it took her. She's amazing. Jay. Thing. You got it. I am a memorable object. A photo album. Nope. I have been around since the early 1800s. Jay. A photograph. Smart guy. Smart guy. I almost had it with a photo album. You almost did. You almost did. I want to do something tougher. I will do a place. I know. I want to challenge myself. I challenge my brain. But don't get something weird, Woods. Dude, I did it. Didn't you? Did you get some weird place? I'll put it this way. You've heard of this place. I am a U.S. state. Texas.
I was the 14th state. Delaware. No. My capital has a French name. Wisconsin. No. Only Wyoming has fewer people. New Jersey. No. I make lots of maple syrup. Vermont. Look at you. Yeah. Smart guy. Smart guy. Burlington. What's the capital? Montpiet. No. Vermont? Yeah. No. Yeah. Well. Montpellier. Let's look it up. Montpellier, Vermont. I mean, it's supposed to be French, so I got to believe it's half right. Kim Kardashian got interviewed because she broke up. By the way, Kim Kardashian, you know, she split up with her dude. What's this basketball player? What's his name? Chris Humphreys. She was not even close to being the shortest wedding. Not even close. Right.
Kid Rock and Pam Anderson, four months. Wow. Britney Spears and do you remember, not the guy from Seinfeld. Jason Alexander. Jason Alexander. Different guy. Two days. 55 hours to be exact. Oh, I remember that. Two days. Vegas. Vegas. Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman. Six days. Mario Lopez and the Doritos girl. Allie Landry. Two weeks. Wow. Didn't he do something scandalous? Yeah, he lied about where he was going on his bachelor party. And then pictures came out. And he hooked up with chicks. Idiot. That's the dumbest thing. And she is a dime. A dime. Colin Farrell and somebody named Amelia Warner. Never heard of her. Four months. Jennifer Lopez and Chris Judd. Four months. Drew Barrymore and Tom Green. Remember that? Whatever happened to Tom Green? I don't know. The show was pretty funny. Five months. Eddie Murphy married someone named Tracy Edmonds for two weeks. Ha ha. Very funny. Identical Eddie Murphy. Identical Eddie Murphy. Dead on. Helen Hunt and Hank Azaria. 11 months. Almost a year.
Jay, just jealous. She loves Helen Hunt. God, she's hot. Do you? I'm telling you. God, she's gorgeous. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Esposito, four months. She is a piece. Who's that? I'll show you. You guys remember this? Lisa Marie Presley and Nicolas Cage. I was wondering if they'd be on there. Three months. That's weird. Here's another one. Heartbreaker for this dude. Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney. Four months. Then she opened her eyes. She dumped him. He opened his eyes. No, she dumped him and it broke his heart. Oh, man. Remember, he was devastated by that breakup. She has her moments. Shannon Doherty and Ashley Hamilton. Five months. George's kid. Five months. Oh, really? Yep. So this is Kim Kardashian in Australia on television where she probably thought, well, I'm in Australia. Nobody's going to know. This won't be anywhere else but here. He put out a statement because a lot of fans wanted to know what's happened. What has happened?
I mean, I don't really think I'm ready to get into all the details of it. But, you know, I'm following my heart. And I'm just thankful that, you know, I have the support of my family. Rhetoric, rhetoric, rhetoric. And then rhetoric, rhetoric, rhetoric. And, you know, my fans and everyone have been so gracious. So I really do appreciate all that. The fact that she has fans. Did you tweet her hugs, Woods? No. You did not? No, I did not. What are you waiting for? I don't like her. He doesn't like her. He thinks she's pretty, but he's not a fan. She's talentless. Oh, this is why she got married, she says. Some of the press, though, have been rather negative. There have been accusations that your wedding was a hoax. What's a hoax? It must be devastating to hear and read. Yeah, I think that's probably the hardest part. Just, you know, from the start, there's been so many different reports that, you know, just aren't true. Like my wedding cost $10 million or I got paid $20 million to have a wedding. And all of that's just not true. And, you know, hearing that kind of stuff, like I married for love. Anyone that would, you know, get married. It was 10 weeks ago. Yeah. Yeah. I know. But I, you know, sometimes you just, you fall out of love.
But if you married for love, and we're talking just a couple of months, two and a half months, how is it possible that you can go from being in love to not being in love after two and a half months? That's an excellent question. The only thing I can say is that the heart wants what it wants. And I... Wanted a divorce. It wasn't even... It wasn't something that I just, you know, thought about. Right. I just... It just sort of came to me one day. Like an epiphany. Yeah. Hey, I should break up. Not break up, a divorce. I read. for a TV show. It's just, you know, ridiculous and it's just sad that I even have to defend that. It's like saying that I would just put my entire life on television as some sort of entertainment. Like, who would do that and who would get paid for that? You have a show. The Kardashians. A couple shows. Yeah. A couple shows. Can I ask you something while we're talking about it? Sure, Kim. What's an epiphany? I'm serious.
A lot of people go through divorces, don't they? A lot of relationships don't work. But I suppose the big question that we're getting from a lot of viewers is how hard... She probably doesn't understand the question. Pardon? Did you work to keep it together? Did you go think of marriage counseling? Did you go through that? She looks at her handler and he goes, he said that he knows that you've been through a lot and he's just wondering if... You've been through a lot. How much could you go through in that short amount of time? Ten weeks. I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to... It was ten weeks. That would be an extraordinarily deep dive. in order for it to be that deep. I mean, you'd have to be swimming the whole 10 weeks to get down there. Can I ask you something, Mike? Yeah, for sure. In 10 weeks, would it be fair to say that you've picked up surfing, painting, golfing, train collecting, vegetarianism? There's a lot that happens in 10 weeks.
Yes, I have. I have started some things and then given them up. So a lot can happen. Can you not say that? Yeah, but yes. There's no right or wrong thing to do. So I really believe that there's no right or wrong thing to do. You know, I don't think I'm ready to, like, get into the details of it. I believe that... Why'd you go on the television show? Yeah, why'd you do that? It'll be in my book. Yeah. Why did you marry two and a half months ago and then say you followed your heart? Do you want the honest to God truth? Yes. My sister, my baby sister, Chloe, got married before me.
And? And I couldn't stand it. And what? I had a lot of catching up to do. So you're telling me that you just got married because you were jealous because your sister was married? I'm clearly prettier, smarter, a better businesswoman, more popular. I'm the reason that people know who Khloe Kardashian is. And here she is just living out my fairy tale. I don't think so. What are you famous for? I'm a businesswoman. I have pretty hair. A couple sex tapes, I think. That's not what I'm famous for. Famous before that. She's not famous for that. She absolutely is. No one knows about it. I'm good at spelling. No one's seen it. No one's heard of it. I've seen it, JC. I'm really good at texting. You can do it very fast. You can text really fast. Yeah. We have an exclusive with Kim Kardashian right now. Yeah, it's incredible. It's so awesome. Well done, Jay. Yeah, well, I can book him. Look at her. She's just gorgeous. Stunning. Smells like an angel. Yeah, and she's with the whole gown and everything. It looks like the Oscars. And so when is Ryan going to be here? Ryan? Your producer told me this is the Ryan Seacrest show. Shh.
He's sick. Ryan is sick today. I'm filling in. I usually do ESPN Deportes. Oh, she's leaving. Oh, gosh. She's leaving. I'm from ESPN Deportes. Bye. There she goes. Bye, Kim. Goodbye, Kim. Diva. Man. Yeah. And she was carrying her high heels in her right hand. I loved it. Walk of shame. She was about four feet shorter when she took the heels off. When a girl leaves a man's apartment, why does she carry her high heels? So she can march out. She wants to get out quick. But isn't that filthier than putting them back on? She's already filthed enough. She feels filthy enough, so she's like, but if a guy sees, if a human being sees you in high heels, isn't that more tactful? You gotta walk slower. And more deliberately when you've got the heels on. And when you're doing the Walk of Shame, you just want it to be over. It's practically a sprint. You've got to get out. It's head down. It's, you know, one hand, heels, with the two fingers holding the heels, and just dead march. Straight to the car, straight to the cab, wherever. Hair falling in your face. Oh, man. Just like, wow, what did I do last night? Well, you know.
Full well. A hundred. You know, what you did. It's a man's t-shirt on over your dress. Oh, gosh. Over a dress. Yeah, you have a Rolling Stones t-shirt on over a dress. It's the greatest. Seeing somebody doing the Walk of Shame is the greatest. You're willing to give up an entire ensemble just to get the F out of it. Yeah, you just want to be. I love to honk when I see him. Honking ways. I see him on the 101 quite a bit. We're going to do the lip. Read Challenge. All right. When we come back. The Lip Read Challenge. Now, this involves listeners, correct, Jason? Yes, it does. What's the prize? Today's prize is the Ben 10 Galactic Racing for Nintendo Wii based on the Ben 10 Cartoon Network Series in stores now. Nintendo. Nintendo. Video game for the Nintendo. You've said it. I've said it right. Last time we did this, you figured it out. Ah, boy. I love him. I love him so much. Nintendo. No, Jay. Nintendo. There you go. Yes, yes, Jay. The best thing is it's not a bit. He really means it. That's Jay. We love him. We'll be back. Part of the Mikey Show now. Call 570-1949. Or text 949mikey at gmail.com. Bieber impregnated is from San Diego? Yes, I found that out this morning. Yeah, she was 20, he was 16 when he had sex with her, and he picked her out of the audience and was like, yo, I want her, bring her back. Yo, girl, come on backstage. And that's what happened, and then she got pregnant, and she's from Lakeside. Allegedly. Is it alleged? Allegedly that they had sex.
Yeah, I mean, she has the baby. So it's alleged that it's her. Well, I mean, won't they have to do a paternity test? Yeah, he's not confirming that he has to do it. What is it about San Diego girls? Yes. Aston Kutcher. Awesome. Who? Awesome. Prince Harry. Yeah. A lot of who is here. And Tiger Woods' mistress. Way to go. Way to go, San Diego girls. Get some. Oh, wow. That's a creepy thing to apply. Yes. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? It's an interesting story I ran across this morning in the NHL. I'm going to share that with you. But first, I wanted to tell you that sports is brought to us today by U31 in North Park. It's North Park's number one bar and grill. This will get you, my friend. as Jay-Z and Beyonce with complete full-on blackface. Both of them. Rafi Torres is his name. He plays for the Phoenix Coyotes. He's a winger. And they dressed as Jay-Z and Beyonce and did the blackface bit. Is it possible that they did not tell a soul that they were going to do that before they did that? Because if they did tell a human soul, a human being, a person... Anybody. Yes, and by that I mean any homo sapien that is a human being. Even from another country. They could have gone into the deep depths of the aborigine into the outback. And translated, that would have said, you can't do blackface. You cannot do freaking blackface. So Eddie Murphy can do whiteface all day long. Yes. And the reason for that is because in this country, by and large, whites were not discriminated against, forced to sit in the back of a bus, and beaten for a civil rights movement. Enslaved. But how does that call that out? Enslaved. How does that call that out? Enslaved. What is that? I mean, how does that poke fun at the troubles and tribulations that they had to go through? Well, blackface is widely considered to be extraordinarily racist. Blackface. Well, it was used before.
Black entertainers were allowed to be on screen or on the stage. And so they were portrayed by white actors using blackface and then completely lampooning. This is correct. Yes. This is correct. And so you can't do it. So it's another double standard that we're okay with. Oh, well, I wouldn't necessarily call it a double standard. Well, if black people can dress up as white people, but white people can't dress up as... But don't you see why? That is a double standard. Well, we can... Wait a minute. But I didn't have anything to do with that. He brings up a good point. It was none of my business. I was not the one doing it at the time. I will say this. It's fine to dress up as a black celebrity. Okay. You just can't do blackface. I need to ask my OBF, my only black friend. Oh, he'll tell you. You think he'll tell me no blackface? Blackface is no, there's no way. C. Thomas Howell, Soul Man. Soul Man. That was a pretty genius movie. Okay, you can do it in a movie, I guess. In a movie, you can. If it's in a movie. They don't get it. Jay, it's because of the struggles of the black man. Listen to Public Enemy's fear of a black planet, and that's all you will need to do, my friend. Woods is kind of an expert on it. When he was 13, he wore a Malcolm X hat. I feel. Oh, there you go. Okay. And here's another thing. Woods is kind of in touch with the black community because he does, in fact, have one black friend. I'm getting more, actually. I have more now, but he's my friend. I have a few more now. Good for you. Your only black friend.
Yep. That's my boy. I texted him a couple... Hey, does he find it unusual that the only time you text him is to ask him about black stuff? That's not the only time I text him. But I do text him. I heard something in a movie I wanted clarified, so I texted him yesterday. He died laughing all stinking day. Yeah. He's something. Yeah. Yeah, he is. And now that he knows that Jay does blackface at home in the comfort of his own home, he's probably not going to be a big fan. I hope he never turns to his wife and goes, Hey, babe. Woods is asking me another black question. What am I supposed to do? Why are you doing a black voice? I'll answer. Why are you doing a black voice? Because I'm doing my friend, man. Because he talks like this. He doesn't talk like that. Everybody, how are you doing? Why do you hate black people, Jay? Who talks like that? Hey, everybody. Isn't that a black person's impression of a white person? Exactly. Yeah, there's another double standard. I can't make fun of them. They can make fun of me. I don't like it. He's at home in whiteface right now going, hey, everybody. He can do whiteface. He can do whiteface all day long. Whiteface would be hysterical, by the way. Please come as whiteface to my next birthday. 570-1949 is the number we're going to do the Lip Read Challenge in just a second. Don't forget, I know it is a couple days early. I'll tell you again tomorrow, but...
This weekend's Daylight Savings, so you fall back an hour. You pick up an hour of sleep, dude. I know. I hate it. I love it. Well, here's the deal. It's been around for 227 years. Daylight Savings has been around for 227 years. You know why, Woods? The reason they did it, Ben Franklin, he came up with it. Smart dude. He came up with it. Well, here was his idea. He said he thought it was natural because when it was dark outside, more people would be sleeping. And also that extending daytime hours would increase productivity. Smart cat. That's what he did. Okay, now check this out. We've gone back and forth with daylight savings here in America. We went back to it in 1918 because people didn't like it after World War I. Or excuse me, we went away from it. Then we came back to it during World War II. We didn't call it daylight savings time. We called it wartime. That was the name of changing it back and forth. They would say, hey, don't forget, it's wartime this weekend. Set the clocks back an hour. Then a bunch of states kept it up after the war ended, but it caused a lot of problems in trains. And you're going to leave at this time, but you're going to get there this time. And people were like, wait, I'm leaving at 6 and I arrive at 6? Right. That's weird.
So a bunch of states kept it. And then in 1966, states were allowed to choose. You could choose it or lose it. As a state, you get to go, we don't want that. So currently, these are the states that don't do it. Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Arizona didn't do it because it's hotter now there. You don't want an hour more of daytime in Arizona. No doubt. Because it's hotter. And so it didn't make sense for them. It's not going to save any energy for them. So they didn't do it. I would love us to be stuck at one time and never change. I would love it. I like it. I like daylight. It checks me up, dude. I love it. I get an extra hour. It's so good. But then you lose an hour in the spring. And that sucks. It's fine by me because spring is fun and it's rejuvenation. I want to be outside. I want the sun to stay up longer. Why don't we just do what everybody else does? What is that? Well, most of the world doesn't do that junk and they're fine. They're fine. They somehow get by. You know, parts of Indiana, only parts of the state. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Yeah. Only a part of the state does it. All right. Let's do the lip read challenge. The way that it works is that Jay's in another room and you, the audience, will enjoy this the most because you're in on it. We're not. Okay.
Do we take callers on this? Yes, each of you have a chance to... You pick a person that you think will win for you. M1 Uniform Man from Escondido, who do you want? Okay. M1 Daniel from Oceanside, who do you want? You. M1 Super Mario on the 8 West, you've got me. We have a super cool prize. It's the Rocksmith for the PlayStation 3, the only video game that uses a real guitar. You can learn tracks from White Stripes, Nirvana, The Black Keys, Tom Petty, Soundgarden, and more. That's rad. I got it. All right, so here's the way that we do it. You guys have got to turn your headphones down pretty low so that I can't hear it. I'm going to take my headphones off and turn the volume completely down, and we will not hear a thing. It will be completely dead in the room. Let's do a little test here. Mikey, can you hear me? I cannot hear anything. Okay, perfect. You guys both have your... Here we go. He's moving his mouth, and I do not know what he is saying. Here we go. Ready? I want tacos. I can't hear you at all. I cannot hear you at all. Okay, here we go. Now, here's the fun thing. The audience will know what Jay is saying, and I get three chances. I get three chances to get this right. All right, here we go.
Should we tell you when he's starting? He's not saying anything right now. Yeah. Here we go. Here he goes. Here he goes. I want tacos and burritos. I want tacos and burritos. Okay, he did it twice. Yep. I want tacos and burritos. I want to start with a sandwich with you. That's what you think he said? Yes. What did he say? I want tacos and burritos. Oh, wow. That's pretty simple. Of course that's what he said. Of course that's what he said, yeah. Now you take yours off. Oh, wow. Oh, God. Tornado. Wow. Woods just dropped everything. Everything on the floor. Oh, boy. Oh, my gosh. Here we go. All right. Here we go. Can you hear me? You can't hear a word. You can't hear me? He's about to start. Woods, do put the microphone up to your mouth, though. Yeah. That's one of my favorite names. That's one of my favorite names. What? Holy cow, dude. He's good. Wow. Oh, wow, bro. That was pretty rad. How did you learn to read lips? I used to date a deaf girl. Is that a true story? No. Okay. Awesome. All right. She would be the one reading lips. That's right. Weirdo. All right. Ella B. Headphones off.
Turn your headphones down, Woods. Got to be real quiet. Can L.O.B. hear me? You have to be able to hear very quietly, Woods. Oh, yeah, very gingerly. Can you hear Woods or L.O.B.? I can't hear anything. Okay. Here we go. Has anybody seen Ballin'? Has anybody seen Ballin'? She gets three tries. Has anybody seen Ballin'? Has anyone seen Ballin'? Yeah! That is it, L.O.B.! I've seen you. I thought it was ask anybody, and then I got it. Nicely done. All right. So we have two winners here. M1 Uniform Man Woods won for you. Hang on the line. And M1 Daniel L.O.B. brought it home. Hang on. I'm sorry, Super Mario. I'm sorry. I know. I'm terrible. Sorry, I love that game. I love it. That's fun. Thank you. And we have another new game that we're going to be playing called Name Five. It's awesome. And we may turn it to Name Three because... Five was tough. Five was tough. Something. Not real bright. No, not all the time. We're burnt. 570-1949 if you want to call us. Late show with David Letterman. Last night, he asked Condoleezza Rice if Bush was smarter than...
He seemed. I made a comfortable living making fun about George W. Bush and his intellect. No, really? Yes. Am I wrong about that? Is he smarter than he seems? That's a loaded question. Because you're like the smartest person I've ever met. I've talked to you here now for 10 minutes. And so I think, well, to hire you, he must know. Quite a lot. He is very smart and, in fact, very curious. Probably the biggest misconception is he was not curious to ask interesting questions. I saw more secretaries, cabinet secretaries, go in there with their presentation and have the president ask the one question that they hadn't thought of. And he read five books for every one I read. Wow. Really? Coloring books. Books just the same. Now, check this out. You know, I've talked about my brother, Mark. We debate all the time.
And he's the biggest lib in the world. He reads everything, too. He read George Bush's book. And he says, the guy is not stupid at all. He's actually a really, really bright guy. He's the worst communicator ever. Worst communicator ever. He opens his mouth. He sounds like a dum-dum. but he's actually a really bright guy. You'd have to be, wouldn't you? You'd have to be. I know a lot. Some people say, hey, listen, everything was given to him, and he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay, and I understand that. It is also possible that the guy talks like an idiot, but is very bright. No question. That's Texas in a nutshell. That's fair enough. That's fair enough. It might be. Have you... Well, I know Woods and LLB saw it for the first time today, and a lot of people probably have not seen it, but this is probably one of the biggest news stories out there today. It is a nearly eight-minute long video that has gotten, at the time that this was printed, 950,000 hits, but I know it's got to be well over a million now. It was a Arkansas...
County court judge. His name is William Adams. He's got a 16-year-old daughter, and she set up a video camera years ago. She did this years ago. In fact, I think it might have been. She's 23 now. 16, I think? Seven years? Seven years ago. Yeah. All right, so 2004 is when it happened. He beats her with a belt. because she was downloading illegal music and stuff like that. What makes it worse is that they say that she has cerebral palsy, although I viewed the video. It isn't apparent necessarily in the video, but perhaps, you know, it didn't seem apparent in the video. But that's not really the point. The point is, is that... He beats her monstrously. And I really wanted to make a point about it because Woods was curious. Well, what do you think, Mike? Because I know that you are a proponent of spanking. And I am a proponent of spanking. And what I can tell you, and I'm a proponent even of spanking with a belt. But what I can tell you is my dad never, ever, ever spanked me with a belt out of anger.
Every time he did it, he explained to me why I was getting the belt. That's totally different. Totally different. Totally makes sense. And he didn't do it for an extended period of time. He did it. He got it over with. And I remember him telling me, this is going to be harder on me than it is for you, which I thought, yeah, right. I have now spanked Jake with my hand. I've only spanked him twice. He's five. And he's only needed it twice. And when I did, I cried both times. Totally. Oh, yeah, I did. Totally. Oh, man, it broke my freaking heart open. For sure. And I told him, I said, buddy, I said the same thing. It's going to hurt me more than it's going to hurt you. Spanked him with my hand. And there was not this. you know, fury in me and this anger and this, you know. Clenched jaw. No, and when you do that, that's when you're, that's abuse. Yeah. Okay? When you're doing it and you're screaming and you've got profanities coming out, and I'm not going to say to any parent, you know, I know that, I know this, as a parent, sometimes you just flip your lid. Yeah. And I get it. I get it. Trust me, I get it.
But what I'll say is, man, when you're whipping your kid like that and it's just going on and on and on and, you know, the punishment has been given out. Yeah. And you're swearing. This dude drops 50 F-bombs, man. I could make it. I think LLB and I made about 45 seconds. Yeah. And that was enough. That was it. That was all I needed to see. Yeah. He beats the crap out of her in that 45 seconds. It goes on another seven minutes. Yeah. Now he comes. He leaves. She never does what he tells her to do, which is to lean over so I can give you spanking. And she never does. Which, by the way, I'll call that into question. Yes. Because I think that she, you know, she obviously taped it. Yeah. And I think that she deliberately. Didn't do what he was saying so that she could get some really good video of him flipping out, which she did. She got and sat on for seven years. Right. Which is crazy, too. But don't you think, man, that don't you think that this was not an isolated incident? I don't think it's the first time that he spanked her.
Maybe the first time you beat her, she's like, you know what? I'm tired of this. You're done. I'm getting you. And that's why I'm going to provoke you just a hair. Because you beat me too many times. See, that I don't know. Well, luck of the draw, she happened to be filming that. I don't believe that. Here's my deal. I think that she did it because even if he gave her a quote-unquote normal spanking, she's got something on it. Yeah, for sure. And he's a judge. And he's a judge. He's a judge. Even if he gave her three whacks, what she does know about him is he's got a mouth on him. Oh, yeah. And when he spanks, he uses the F-bomb. And a heavy hand. He hits hard. Well, the heavy hand, you know, I'm not going to take a heavy hand away from anybody. I mean, when you spank, it's not meant to be delicate, even though the first time I spanked Jake, I couldn't do it. I couldn't bring myself to it. I barely did, you know, because I couldn't. It freaking hurts. Sounds like this guy's worked up, too. And that's, hey, listen, I also want to say this. If you're a parent, my advice is take it for what it's worth, man. It didn't cost anything, so you don't have to use it. But when you get in those moments, man, where you're flipping out, if it's at all possible to go, oh, yeah, I'm going to remember that thing and just, I'm going to, 10 seconds, 10 seconds, I'm going to give my, even if they, you know, and you know in 10 seconds they're going to get it.
But give yourself the 10 seconds in the head. One, two, three, four, five, seven, eight, nine, ten. To just kind of catch your breath and say, all right, you're toast. And you can say, hey, man, you're toast. And here's why. You know, you don't have to be Mr. Touchy Feely if you don't want to be. You don't have to be, now I'm going to explain to you. You don't have to. But if you're hitting a kid when you're pissed off, you're going to. The chances of you doing something stupid go way through the roof. Oh, yeah. To overreact. Yes, to overreact. So, 570-1949. There's a guy on the line that believes that I'm off my rocker on it, and I want to hear him out. His name is Jason. He's from Carlsbad. And I want to hear him out about it. Drop off in that northwest pretty swell, running in that E to waist high zone. Maybe a few chest high plus waves on a rare occasion at the areas most open to the total combination of that northwest. Some secondary southwest swell out there at the same time as well. Light and variable winds. Visibility, though, somewhat obscured by some fog pockets, so really kind of hard to give you a definite read. But all my senses are telling me it is smaller. My favorite humor is when I don't see it coming. Oh, dude. Oh, yeah. I am downloading this. I am downloading this immediately. I didn't put this on some mixed CDs back in eighth grade. Real good. No, more like 10th grade. For eighth graders. That song right there. That just. mesmerized me. Oh, yeah. You never heard it? Oh, yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah, I remember this. But just hearing it again, probably for the first time since then, mesmerized me. The version I have of this song on my iTunes, it's from a CD and it skips.
So even now when I play it on my iTunes, I expect it to be like... I'll give you 99 cents to get a freshman. Yeah, I could. Oh, we lost this guy? No! We lost this guy! Chris! Oh, call back guy. Carl's bad guy. Call back about the Mikey don't ever spank with a belt. He doesn't believe in spanking with a belt. I agree with him. Yeah. I know that that is not a popular thing, and especially in today's world, today's PC society. But I will say this. I believe that it depends on the child. I believe it depends on the child. Jake will never, ever, ever be a kid that requires that. He's different. He doesn't require it. The more misbehaved they are, the more violent you have to be. No. What I think is violent. It's like talking to my wife. Talking to L.O.B. It is violent to use a belt. This is Rebecca. Rebecca goes. Rebecca goes. So you're saying that what we need to do is abuse our child. And I'm like, babe, babe, babe, babe. No. I'm saying that we need to discipline.
Our child. I'm okay with a little spank. Never out of anger. Never out of anger, I agree. And with some sort of reason given. It doesn't have to be a powwow where you sit down and explain all the ins and outs of what went wrong and what you could do better. I mean, you should definitely do that, but not this long, drawn-out thing. But the belt just seems... When does it get to that level? I can tell you what a belt does. Because my dad used a belt on me all the time. He never hit me any harder with a belt. than he did with his hand. But his thinking was that he wanted it to be the belt, not his hand that I was scared of. He wanted it to be instilled up here. Right. It wasn't his hand. It wasn't him that I was to be scared of. It was the belt. Do you want the belt? Do you want my hand? Because his hand was very loving and very friendly. But, I mean, I use my hand on Jasper because it's just not anymore. Bottom line with my dad and that belt was whatever it was, that I was not supposed to do. Not only was it taken into consideration, the belt, but it was definitely put into very, very strong reinforcement for your pal Miguel. Miguel. And the bit was, you go pick. So I had to go pick it. And I would try to pick one that I thought wasn't going to hurt. You'll canvas.
But it wasn't the 80s yet. Don't bring me my army belt. Yeah. Let's see. My dad just pulled his right out. Wow. Pants at his knees at that point because they're falling off. Trying to whip you, chase you at the same time. M1, Renee in San Diego. Yeah, hi. Hi. Hi. I've been listening to you guys, and I'm actually with you on the corporal punishment, even though I was... It's true. I did. Even, well, yes. And I'll tell you why I did. I knew it was going to be worse if I gave any resistance. But were you ever beat the way that that girl was beat? No. And were you 16? No. That's just it. You know, it's so different to be, even to be spanked with a belt, it's so different than being beaten. Yeah. M1, okay, so here's M1 Riches from Sereno Valley. Good morning. Good morning.
I do not believe in hitting with a belt. My dad used to use a belt. He used to fold it in half, and any time we did something bad, he'd have us put our hand in, and he'd slap it close on our hands. And I do not believe that. I tried spanking my children, and honestly, it doesn't work because my kids are like, Mommy, you don't hit people. Why are you hitting us? You don't hit people. So I've learned to take away privileges. My children don't get to sleep with their favorite toy at night. They don't get TV time. They don't get... Computer time. And holy moly, I can't tell you how much more effective that is than using a belt or your hand or even a spoon. You know, breaking spoons on their little bums or something. Well, here's the deal. Here's the deal. And I respect your thought on it. Here's my thought. I think the belt and the hand thing, I've never heard of it. But, you know, I wouldn't do it. And I think it's odd and I wouldn't even condone it. I think it's odd. I do. Now, when he did that, was he good and pissed off? You know what? My dad was always, he would always be a yeller, but then he was always like calm. But he's Italian. I always, by the way, I always love, I always love the nationality bit. You have to. Yeah. Hey, listen.
He's Irish. He's got a temper. Maybe he's an a-hole. Maybe that too. I think it does. A black mom, you always say a black mom. It's racist. You always say, try telling a black mom that. Or a Mexican mom that. Listen. Well, that's racist. Here's the cultural part of it. Culturally, a Mexican mom and a black mom, they're not going to put up with their kids slapping them in the face. Hell no. Culturally, drinking is a lot of what Irish people do. Yeah, but that don't make it okay. Okay, then what you should say is my dad's a drunk, so he used to beat the hell out of me like an idiot. No, but people say, oh, but he drinks a lot, but he's Irish. He's Irish. But that is a cultural thing. What about Italian? He's a hothead. He's Italian. He's fire. Yeah, you know, like if you were from Sicily, it's in your blood. You're pissed. It gets passed down. Yeah, it does. It gets passed down for sure. My dad's Irish, got a temper. Oh, that's the worst. That's the worst. Yeah, that's the torturing dentist. Yes. In Iraq, you know. Thank you for the call. Yeah, my dad was always soft-spoken. My dad was not a screamer and a yeller, you know. He just wasn't who he was. Me good. Me good. M1deadeye from RB. This is... Oh, Gen-Eye. Yeah.
Oh, okay. Go ahead. I found odd was the fact that this girl was 16 years old. Me too. I mean, little kids get spankings, not 16 years old. Yeah, no doubt. I agree. No doubt. Take her car keys away. Yep. Yeah, exactly. Or the cell phone or whatever. Yeah. The Maserati, the beach house. The villa in France. The villa in France. Take that away. Her credit cards. Yeah, take away her platinum American Express. Yeah, for sure. Thank you for the call. It's true. I mean, now. Hey, they're spanking laws, and M1 Beck from San Diego knows about them. Beck, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. What do you know? So I'm a social work major, and we actually, in my class last week, we took a time out to study spanking because there's actually a law in California about spanking, and there's pretty much three things that you need to remember when it comes to the law.
The first thing is it can only be a child's behind. It can't be, you know, like you can't slap a child across the face. It can't be slapping them in general. It can really, spanking is within the confines of just their bottom. Part two is that no objects may be used. So spanking legally in California can only be an open hand. That's a good law. or neighbors, family members, if anybody sees you actually thinking a child is for an object, they can legally call CPS on you. Wow. Well, most people aren't using the belt out in the front lawn. Yeah, no, definitely not. You know what I mean? Okay, thank you for the call. I got a question. Woods, let's start with you. Okay. Do you think that kids... have gotten more disrespectful as time has gone on, more mischievous, more out of control. Yes. Now, do you think that kids in 2011 are any worse behaving than they were in 1950? Yes.
Put together a hypothesis as to why. What would you say it is? I'd say there's a few things. I'd say technology. It's a big part of it. Now, what do you mean? Well, there's more opportunity to see. A kid goes on YouTube, sees a video of another kid doing something stupid, then takes that video, goes out and replicates it with his friends. They make a video. Another kid sees it. Hey, listen. I'm with you 110. Yeah. But if you give me that, what about the smoking? Like they see this and they replicate it. What about the smoking? If they see the smoking, wouldn't they replicate it? I think probably less kids smoke now than they did back in the day. And that's a true fact, actually. Yeah, less do. So I think that technology is a big part of it. I think that the moral erosion that's happened in this country in the last 25 years.
Probably has a lot to do with it. I mean, you couldn't find the stuff you can find now 25 years ago. Trust me. I was looking for it. I couldn't find it. And I think that has a lot to do with it. Ease of access. Ease of access is absolutely... Both parents working more now because they have to. There's less of somebody staying home to raise that kid, keeping their eye on them. I have a thought too. My thought is that part of the reason that kids are more out of control now... is because parenting has changed a little bit over time. When I was growing up, you didn't say to your dad, whatever, because if you did, you were going to get the belt. I had a very respectful fear of my dad. I'm not saying I was... afraid of dad always or till you hit about 17 i hit about 17 and i lost yeah i went through a period of time where i knew he couldn't spank me anymore right because i was too old for spanking and he wasn't gonna close his fist except for that one time that i called my mom something right and then he closed his fist and i don't blame him anybody calls my wife something even if he lives in my house he's
going to get it. Yeah, real good. He's going to get it real good. But, yeah, he stopped. So, yeah, I think he'd go through this period, you know. But when they're kids, it ain't going to kill them. In fact, I think it's going to keep them out of jail. That's my opinion, man. One guy's opinion. My wife disagrees, and I have acquiesced to my wife and said, okay, we'll try this timeout. It works in some instances, for sure. Not everything is a spanking offense. Right. No. Not everything is a spanking offense. It's just like in real life. You get a ticket for some stuff. Some stuff you got to do just a little time. I mean, that's the deal. M1 Elizabeth from Chula Vista. Hi, this is Elizabeth. Hi. Hi. I don't believe in hitting my kids with belts and stuff because when I was little, my mom, she had arthritis and stuff. What did you say? Pillows? Pillows. Pillows. They don't hurt as bad.
So you're into hitting them with stuff, but for you it's a pillow. So you've got a poster with a cutting board with a circle and a line through it, but then another poster with a pillow and a person giving a thumbs up. Well, hey, listen, I don't blame you for not hitting your child with a cutting board. I wouldn't recommend... I wouldn't recommend the cutting board. Last call from M1 Big Al from San Ysidro. Go ahead. What's going on, guys? Good morning. Good morning, man. I'm calling to say I have four children. Two older ones that grew up without a belt because my wife guilted me into not spanking them. Let's do that. It's crock. It's all just a bunch of crock. My 18-year-old boy doesn't know how to be a man. And my 15-year-old daughter is out of control a little bit. Oh, man. I really do it because I said, I'm done with it. Now, my 10-year-old, straight A, no issues. My 6-year-old, no issues. They've got the belt. Yep. The belt. The belt. Which is illegal. It's not for every occasion. Yeah. You know, you got to give them warnings. They know it's there. I'll just pull it out now. I'll have to hit them.
But what about when those kids get to be teenagers? I mean. They're going to take out their flip. This is what we're going to have, by the way, very soon. You got your seven-year-old pulling out his flip phone or flip camera in HD. Yeah. And he's like, go ahead. I dare you. Go ahead. My kid won't have that. This is on speed dial to CPS. That's right. Bring it. Yeah, do it, Dad. Good luck to you, then. Or he says this. He's like, hey, Dad, just so you know, I know where to put cameras. You don't know where they are. Yeah, you don't know where they are. Oh, I used to say to my parents I was going to call Child Protective Services. Oh. All the time. I'm going to teach my kid not to be a rat. She must have been a pistol. Did I ever call? No. I was still scared of them. I'll call CPS on you. L.O.B. will get you. What did your parents say? I just laughed. I said to L.O.B., I said to L.O.B., I go, you can get people. L.O.B. will get you. I go, who gets you more, you or mom? And she goes, oh, my mom. She'll get you. Don't get her mother. You don't want to cross her. You don't want that. You don't want to cross her. You don't want that. No, ma'am. Okay, so here we go. This is what we were talking about. The whole reason that it came up was this story right here. NBC's Janet Chamley and is live in Rockport, Texas with the story. Janet, good morning to you.
Matt, good morning. Yeah, it bears repeating. This video is graphic, it is disturbing, it's difficult to watch, and it has taken the Internet by storm. More than 1.6 million views on YouTube, most of those within the last 24 hours. A Texas judge here in Rockport, Aransas County, repeatedly whipping his teenage daughter with a leather strap, even as she was crying and pleading with him to stop. Get over here. The man in this video is Texas Judge William Adams, and the girl is his then 16-year-old daughter, who has cerebral palsy. Bend over that bed. Bend over the bed. Bend over the bed. The beating continues unabated. It's pretty bad. A seven-minute video that has swept the Internet and provoked an online outcry. Again and again, Hillary Adams cries out after being lashed by her father's belt on her legs, her arms, and her buttocks. Once at the hands of her mother. You turn over. I'm going to spank down your butt. You turn over like a 16-year-old and take it. Like a grown woman. Turn over. The disturbing scene was captured seven years ago in her bedroom, Hillary says. After her dad found out she had downloaded music from an illegal website. Are you happy? Huh? Disobeying your parents? After holding onto the video since 2004. Yeah, I mean, dude, there's no doubt.
This guy is a creep. He's a sadist, dude. He's a sadist and a monster. And mom ain't far behind. Now 23 and living on her own, uploaded it to YouTube after she says her father continued to harass her, and she finally had enough. The disputes and the harassment were escalating, and finally it just was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back. And I told him I had the video, and he brushed it off. William Adams isn't just Hillary's father. He's a judge in South Texas where he routinely rules on cases involving children. He also sits on a county board overseeing the juvenile system. He admits that's him in the video. No, in my mind, I haven't done anything wrong other than discipline my child after she was caught stealing. And I did lose my temper, but I've since apologized. It looks worse than it is. There is a story. It'll come out in due time, okay? And it's because she downloaded a game onto your computer? No, she was stealing. I don't want to get into it, okay? But there was a reason she was being disciplined. But as a family's private feud went public and viral, outrage has boiled over. Facebook pages have sprung up decrying Judge Adams. The Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct has been flooded with demands he be removed from the bench. And in tiny Rockport.
Police have been swamped by calls from all over the world. Chief Tim Jaro has opened an investigation at the district attorney's request to determine whether the beating was criminal. When does it cross the line? When does discipline within a family become assault? Yeah, frequently that's a difficult thing to determine because by state law, a person has a right to discipline their children to a point, but not to the point that you cause serious bodily injury to a child. Hillary's mother has since divorced Adams and apologized for her role in the beating. For his part, Judge Adams insists his daughter wasn't hurt. Well, no, I mean, it's only an eight-minute beating. What a nut. No, no, no, she didn't look hurt. Why would we even suggest that she was hurt? Why did you stand over her like Lawrence Taylor used to do when he sacked a quarterback and put his finger in their face? Right. Why did you taunt her? Man, I want to beat that guy. And by the way, why did you spank her, leave the room, then come back into the room because she didn't do what you had asked her to do and you'd do it more? It's just weird and it's, you know. Enjoy early retirement, Judge. Yeah. Oh, we got a good one for you. It's funny.

Any monkey could do this job if all they had to do is take this piece of paper that I have in front of me and follow it, yet I cannot. I don't know why. Even if it's written right in front of me, I still get sidetracked. It's a true statement. Very true.
Didn't necessarily need the confirmation from me and L.O.B. Yeah, but, you know, since you have, you just sit out there, you know. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. That guy wearing the Loyola t-shirt over there is Woodsy. It's his alma mater. That's right. L.O.B. is our assistant producer. She went to James Madison. Oh, good memory. That's right. I know my L.O.B. trivia. Well, used to until we played L.O.B. trivia. Jay is 48. He went to an Amish school back in 1721. Mike, I went to the School of Hard Knocks. That's right. Don Knox. I went to the School of Don Knox. And then our phone screener is Chris. It's Cross. Chris is currently enrolled in school. Yes. That's a true statement. Ooh, we should play that soon. Okay. So, let's see. Let's talk to M1 Anthony from OB. Are you there? Yeah. What was the word of the day? It was monkey. You got it, dude. Awesome. You are going to see City in Color on Tuesday night. Hey, guess what? I just bought tickets to them last night. So, I guess I'm bringing two friends. I thought they were sold out. I thought they were sold out. Apparently, they sold out yesterday. They sold out yesterday. Got them off Craigslist.
Hang on. Watch out for sex perverts. Yeah, you got to watch out for that. Too late. Meet in a public place. Chevron or something. Yes. Thank you. Hang on. I was getting gas this morning at 4.30 a.m. Nothing scary. Well, I'm usually okay. I'm usually okay. But a truck pulls up with four Mexicans. Ha ha, I can say that. I'm Mexican. I can say I have a Mexican friend. You have a Mexican friend. Yeah, truck pulled up, four Mexican guys in there, and they looked tough. And two of them got out, and I'm putting the gas in, and I'm like, camera up to my boogery nose. And they walked up to the AM, PM, to the window, and they go. Oh, gosh. Violent knock. Yeah, violent knock. Yes. Ouch. Scared me, dude. I finished that gas, put that thing back, and I was like. Just getting out of there. It scares you when four dudes pull up in a truck at 4 a.m. You guys just out shopping this morning? Let me tell you my new bit at the 7-Eleven I go to. You ready for this? Yes. Every day, I walk in, and I always catch this guy at the same time. Penny counting time. I stand there for 45 seconds in silence.
This is the guy that works there? Yes. Oh, he's counting the tail. Writes it down. Then he goes to the Nichols. While I'm standing there, he goes to the Nichols. A little background here, okay? I'm going to give you a little background here. This same guy. Now, this is going to tell you more about Woods than you'll ever need to know. Okay? The kid can be tornadic. Yes. However, it takes a while to get him there. Yes. Now, once he's there, there's no coming back. Generally in a pretty good mood. Generally. I would say pretty much always. Pretty much always. But when you get him there, it's like a spring is broken, and in order to get the spring back, you need to use the jaws of life to pull it back in. Just forget it. It's over. It's done, okay? But I want to give you a little background on him. He would go into that 7-Eleven, and this dude would be in that 7-Eleven, and he'd be mopping. Sweeping. And he'd look at Woods and he'd mop and he'd finish mopping. Now, this is the thing about Woods. He won't say a word about it. He will come here and broadcast to thousands of people and tell you, this guy got me and made me mad. But he will not go, excuse me. I mean, and that's all it would take. Just excuse me. But Woods doesn't want to confrontate. He doesn't want any confrontation. I stare. I go. I just look.
That's not the woods I picture. No. Me either. And if it were me, I would go. I would absolutely 100% go, excuse me, sir. Excuse me. Because I think there's nothing wrong with going. No. Excuse me, sir. I don't say a word. He doesn't say a word. He lets him finish. I picture this. Yeah. After about 13 seconds. You don't do that. I stand there. It's almost a bit that I just stand there and stare at him. Still. Stiff as a board and I just look at him. Why every morning do you go into the 7-Eleven? Because I want to get stuff. I need snuff. I need smokes. I need a DP. Why don't you get enough for the week? Why don't you not worry about what the F I do? Go to the store. The grocery store. Save a little money. Get a whole roll. I have a routine. I like to go to my routine. You're wasting a ton of money. He almost did it. There's nothing Woods hates more. than telling him how to do his bit. It takes a while to upset him, obviously. I hate being told how to do my business. Hey, Woods, I'm down with what you do. I mean, you're not in any fault by going into a 7-Eleven and expecting...
prompt service. No, when I walk into a store, I expect, hey, you doing, sir? Good morning. Yeah. I'm good. How are you? You should go to a different, you're just encouraging him. I know. I stand there. You've gone in there how many times? You're enabling him. You are enabling him. And you expect him to change when he hasn't changed every single morning. I know, but I almost, something one day. 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 26, 27, 28, 29. Good morning. You're right. One, two, three. That'll get me. But what bothers me is the, hey, I just finished the pennies. Now I'm going to grab the nickels. That gets me. You allow this? Because now I stare at him like, are you out of your mind? I stare at him and his initials are J.S. You don't know what it means? No. J. Isbell. J.S. Bell. I would not patronize that. No.
You go back. It's right on my way. It's so easy, and it's a habit now. Yeah. That's why you have a refrigerator at home. It gets me. I know it. Mike, why don't you buy in bulk? Mike, just get a bunch of Starbucks and put them in the fridge, and then when you want it, heat it up. Well, I understand coffee. Okay, why? Because it's not pre-packaged. It's made fresh. Copenhagen goes bad. I don't want to get 20 cans. The same cans are sitting there on the counter when you come back. Why don't you just go to Starbucks and get the bag? Get a bag. Make your own. You have to get a can every day. Hey, why don't you go to South America, rent one of them Chileans. Walk through the thing with them. It's cheaper. Pick your own beans. You pick your beans. I'll show you how to roast them and grind them. I've been doing it for years. Don't you have a coffee maker at home too, Mikey? Yeah. You can save that $4 on a cup of coffee. Don't worry about what we do with our money. That's like $20 a week. Jay, I go, what are you doing this weekend? He goes, going out to the desert, riding a motorcycle?
I don't have a freaking motorcycle. You know, you would. This is my motorcycle. You could. Let me tell you something. When it comes to the things that that dude likes, the sky's the limit. That's because he skims. Mike, you could have an extra $1,000 a year if you didn't stop and get coffee. Listen, they are of the same milk. They are cut from the same cloth. Yes. L-O-B and J are both identical when it comes to the finances. Thrifty. Very. And judgmental. Yeah, I'll tell you this. That's both judging. I think you're foolish. That's judgmental. By the way, this is not just L.O.B. and Jay. This is anybody frugal. My brother is frugal moogle. And when he hears stuff, he goes, how much did that cost? And I'm like... Who are you? Who are you? Who are you? What are you, Alan freaking Greenspan? You're worried about everything? We're trying to help you. We didn't ask for it. I didn't ask for it. But I care about you. I care about you. I want to help you. A friend in need is a friend indeed. Oh my gosh. And he goes, you know you can get those way cheaper. And here's his other bit. You have to have Duracell. The way cheaper or the neighbor.
What's wrong with that? Yes, I do have to have Duracell. Because it's copper top. This is what I want to say to my brother. And I do. I go, what do you use? He goes, I use rechargeable batteries. And I go, good for you. Better for the planet. I just usually silently judge. I don't usually... Rub it all over people's faces. Like Jay. I'm just trying to help you. You're foolish. You're foolish. Everybody driving right now in their cars, I don't care if you're the 8, the 15, the 163. You know these people. Oh, yeah. Or you are this guy. Or you are this guy. Trying to help you get in a house. I didn't ask for help. Yeah, you do. You always say things. I never asked you for help. I just don't have any money. I can't afford that. I've never said that. You have said that. I have never said that. Our boy Jay is a dad. He'll always be a dad. And he will dad us. He dads us. Yes. Yesterday we got him, though. Yesterday we kind of got him. When I drew the wiener on his car? Yes. Yes. I rubbed it off. Of course you did. I slight that. Also, this was pretty funny, too. This was very funny, actually. We had the door to the studio open. And every day, just after the show, every day, except on meeting day. No, that's not true. Even on meeting day. Yesterday was meeting day. Even on meeting days. We opened the door to the studio. We can see out into the...
Part of the studio that Jay's in. And he's got a ping pong table out there now. Thank you to Sports Chalet Table Tennis Tables. They're supposed to use it for a bit. And oddly enough, that bit never happened. Continues daily, that bit. And so Adam, his good friend, comes in and they start playing ping pong. And they... They have a very particular way that they do it. They talk a lot of smack to each other, and that's their whole thing. And so Woods goes, after Adam leaves, Woods does this. Go ahead. Am I drunk? Oh, wow.
That's what he was doing minus the phone. He lost the southern accent. Yes. Well, when he gets drunk. Did you really beat him yesterday? I think I got a game. He's on a tear. He can be nice. Whatever it is. Woods making fun of Jay with the ping pong stuff gets me. Hey, if you guys played, you would know. But it requires effort. You've got to break a little sweat. Ping pong. You're a real badass. Oh, you want to play? Yeah, I'll play you. I can hang. Open the door. You think you can hang? Put the stop. Put the door stop. You can't, Woods. Oh, man. He's going to get worked. He's going to get killed.
You know that, Woods. I can hang a little. You can't hang a little. I've played with him before. It's Jay. I've played with him before. He's good. He's not good at everything. He's good at ping pong. Here we go. Chances of paddle breaks. You get that? Did you get it? You're already. Jay just did one volley. And he beat him. Woods hit the net. Jay hit the net. Jay. What's up, dude? Tie, bitch. Oh, wow. Woods, Jay. Yeah, that's fine. Woods. Three to two. Okay. Woods, Jay. Woods, Jay. Woods. Hit the net. Woods. Oh, got him. Four to three. Woods. Five to three. Oh, got him again. Wow. Five to three. Jay. Woods, Jay. What's up? My point. Gosh. Jay. You're better than this. Five to four. Jay plays every day. Five to five.
Five-five. Oh, my God. Woods never plays, and he's paddling his own butt, by the way. Six-five. J, Woods. J, Woods. Woods hit the net. That's mine. No. Oh, that's yours? Five. Seven-six. Seven-six. J. Eight-six. J. Woods. J. Wolf. Nine-six. My shirt. Is he beating you now, Woods? Yeah, he's hit by three, but it's my shirt. All right. Woods. J. Woods. J. Woods. J. Woods. J. 9-7. How far do you go? I don't know. How far do you go? 11, he says. Woods. J. 9-8. Uh-oh, 9-8. Woods. J. Woods. J. Woods. J. Woods. J. Ah, I'm hitting long. 9-9. 9-9. Uh-oh. Game's on. Woods. Oh. Woods. 9-10. J's got game point. Here it is. Game point. Woods. J. Woods. J. Woods. Oh. He wins. Got me by one.
I can't believe you were able to hang. Of course I could hang. I'm not an idiot. Well, dude. It's like playing with a third grader. He plays every single day. How often do I play? Never. Thank you. It's like playing with a third grader. You know, when you have to bring your game down to their level. He's wallowing the ball way up in the sky. Am I? Yeah, you are. What happens when you play with Adam then, Jay? Adam hits hard and low and fast. Sounds like a lot of excuses. You bring your game up. If I played every day, I could probably be pretty good. You saw what I just did. It would be great to get a couple of M1s that are really great at it and just watch them. Because I love to watch the Korean Olympics. They're 15 feet back from the table. So once again, thanks to Sports Chalet Table Tennis. Your hotspot for all table tennis needs. In fact... You can go down to Sport Chalet today and pick up your ping pong table of your own. Just ask for the J special. That J sent you. Okay. Random. So we were talking about urban legends. Our favorites of the urban legends. When I was a kid, the Richard Gere was the urban legend. All I'll say is Richard Gere and a hamster. That's it.
If you don't know it. If you don't know it. Look it up. Figure it out. Gerbil. Gerbil. Gerbil. Gerbil. It was not. Yeah. It was a gerbil. So weird. So weird. Which is so ridiculous because you think to yourself, okay, even if it isn't true, what got that? Who was the guy? Yeah. That was like, hmm. Oh, I know. Gerbil. We'll say Richard Gere with the gerbil. I wonder if that was a common thing in that lifestyle. What lifestyle? I don't know. Celebrity lifestyle? Celebrity lifestyle? You guys are a-holes. I think everyone was doing it. You know what I mean. Soda and Pop Rocks. You mix them together, they blow up. That's how Mikey from the Life commercial died. That's right. That was it. That was another urban legend. That's fake, right? Yeah. See? We still have a little bit of kid in us. A little doubt, yeah. A little kid in us that still goes, did he really? Yeah.
Bloody Mary. Every kid believed in it. That is not a myth. I wouldn't do it. Even when I was a kid. I didn't have the guts to do it. Oh, I did it. I did it so good. The water on the mirror. Water? Yeah, you throw water on the mirror. That's how we did it. Your mom. Oh, yeah. They're furious. Your poor mom. What's in there throwing water up on the mirror? You just take a little bit in your hand and you sprinkle it on the mirror. And then when you turn the lights off, you say it. Then the image will appear in the water. It's very creepy. That's the creepiest thing I've ever heard? Very creepy. Because the water runs, you know, and you can find something in there. You're like, it's a cross. That's a freaking cross. Well, I thought it's dark. Well, it is. You turn the lights on. You're like, look, dude, it's a freaking cross. You're making something out. Oh, yeah. Well, you know when it's dark, but you can see a little bit? That's how we always had it, so we could see if there was anything in the mirror. Because we wanted Bloody Mary to appear. My mom has, like, in the powder room, she calls it.
Is that the bathroom? Yeah. But it's the downstairs one. There's no shower in there. You know, it's a half bathroom. It's like a pink nightlight in there. So we used that for the Bloody Mary instead of turning the full lights back on. You guys remember that, by the way? All our parents had the nightlight that was made out of the same bulb that Christmas lights outdoors are made of. Covered by a shell. Yes, covered by a seashell. Seashell. Because that looks like the natural environment. It's classy. Yeah, it's classy. Okay? It's a shell nightlight. It covers up the bulb. Yeah. I can't have a bulb exposed. And you want to know what? There's nothing classier than a beach ornament covering the bulb. A seashell. It doesn't get better. What else are you going to put? Are you going to put a $20 bill over it? No, it's a seashell. You could put a... A seahorse. That's also good. There's also plastic seahorses. You could put a porcelain clown face like my mom did. Oh. Didn't you say your mom is into clowns? She collects. She doesn't do it anymore. Thank goodness. But it was like, remember the ballerina almost looking clowns? They had like. Gosh, dude. They had the pale face. With like a, with almost like a do-rag on their head. Oh my gosh. What got her into that? I don't know.
My dad got her one to cheer her up one time, and she started collecting them. They were so creepy. They are creepy. Clowns. Lady Gaga's a hermaphrodite is another big urban legend. And Jamie Lee Curtis. Oh, yeah, Jamie Lee Curtis. That's actually true, though. It's not. Isn't it? I know. I heard it. I knew somebody that had a friend that hooked up. What are we forgetting? 5701949. Paul from the Wonder Years is Marilyn Manson. That was a big one. That's right. Also, Marilyn Manson had a rib removed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard Janet Jackson had ribs removed to have a better six-pack. The whole Paul is dead thing, too? The Beatles? The Beatles. Paul is dead. I don't remember that. Before my time. That's why he was barefoot. In the Abbey Road picture, and John was dressed like a grave digger. Jay's like, do you guys remember the big rumor that was spread about King Tut? People said that he was actually married to a guy. Guys, remember when people thought that Charlie Chaplin was a woman? The world, at one point, they thought the world was flat. That's right. And I was like, no, dude, it's not. Call us right now, 570-1949. What are we forgetting? And what app has 500 million downloads? Wow.

Sounds 90. I know. All right, so this is, people are calling in with our favorite urban legends that we remember when we were kids. What do you got, M1 Steve from Lucadia? How about if you pee in the pool, you're going to be sitting in a pool of purple chemical around you. Yeah, blue. Yes, yeah. My kids still believe that. Uh-huh. I remember that. I remember that one real big time. And I was afraid to pee in the pool because I thought you'd see it. I'd always let a little bit out. Just to test it. Just to see. Depending on where I was, and I'd go, okay, no, we're good. And then swim away. And swim away, and then do biz. It's a good move. Yep. M1 Michelle from La Mesa. Wow. Hi, guys. Really enjoy your show. Thank you. Thank you. Okay, so this is about the Jamie Lee Curtis, and I think where it stemmed from that she was a hermaphrodite was because she only has one X chromosome. Oh. So depending on what...
Division of cell division, what stage of cell division. So we're supposed to have an X and a Y? Is that the deal? Yeah, well, no. Females have two X's and males have an X and a Y. But it's obviously possible for some women to have just one X. What does that mean for downstairs? What's it look like? Normal? Okay, well, it depends on what stage of cell division it occurs. And you don't have a penis. But you could have... Just the word made you laugh, Woods? Just that word made him giggle like he's in second, sorry, first grade. It's a great word. It is a great word. So anyway, you could have hair in your chest, you could have a deeper voice, that kind of thing. So it just depends. She doesn't, I don't think, have any of that, but maybe her bone structure a little bit. Couldn't you have like an enlarged clitoris? Perhaps. I'm not sure, L-O-B. That's what I heard. Thank you for the call. Lauren. Yes. That's a medical term. Yeah. Yep. Yeah. Yep. I need to moisturize right now. It's your guy's fault for laughing. I did not laugh. I did not laugh. I didn't laugh. That was my fault. That was a question. Yes. A medical question. It was a very strong question. Yes. That's what I heard. Very strong. Now, how does...
How does that get out about somebody? About her? People talk. People do talk. Listen, hey, if you grew up when we did, Mike. You guys are acting like it's true. It's not true. If you grew up when we did, she was sexy, and she showed boobs in movies, a few different ones. I was all the way in until I heard that. Yeah. What Lauren said? Yeah. That filthy, awful, disgusting thing. It's true. Look it up. Google it. She always thought she was man-ish. You did. I did not. What about if you make a face and someone hits you on the back, it'll stick? Yeah, freeze that way. In Better Off Dead? Well, I thought it was just that if you make a face, your parents will say it'll stay that way. I heard that it was if you also got slapped in the back. Because my brother used to do that. I'd be watching TV. He'd come up and slap me in the back and go, oh, your face didn't stay that way. Hair on the palm? Oh, yeah. For what? That's true. You'll stop it. You'll go blind.
L.O.D. God, look at her. She is filthy. Man. She's like Jenna Jameson over here. I'm one Chris from San Diego. You guys, I actually had a Herbal Legend Middle School we tried to prove that was blowing up a seagull with Alka-Seltzer. Oh, no. It's not true? I don't know. I never exactly understood the science behind it, but once we found out about it, our whole middle school experience is trying to prove. trying to blow up seagulls with Alka-Seltzer. I think it may happen to them later if they fly away. They can't burp. A couple of times we got a couple of pieces of Alka-Seltzer wrapped in bread. Seagull got it down, and we just, like, spent around the school watching it, waiting, waiting, waiting, and, you know, nothing ever happened, so I don't know. Well, PETA's on the line for you. They want to speak to you and watch your home address. Well, maybe it cured indigestion that the seagull may have had.
M1 Zach from Mission Valley. What's up, guys? What's going on? So I heard this urban legend when I was, like, middle school or high school about, like, giant catfish swallowing, like, divers and underwater welders, like, holes. They do. No, no, no. Mikey. Excuse. Excuse. Excuse. Excuse. Excuse. Excuse. Hang on a second here. All right. There's a TV show called River Monsters. Okay? Yeah. I've seen them. I've seen these animals, these catfish. Monsters. They are as big as the couch. No freaking way. Oh, yeah. They're as big as the couch. Now, who they have swallowed have been small children. They don't swallow a full-size man, but they've swallowed like a six-year-old. Do they die?
Oh, dude, they, yes, they swallow them. Dude, you don't understand. People, until I saw the show River Monsters, and I saw them bring it on shore, and it's like, you know. I gotta see it. I gotta go in. Oh, dude, you gotta see it, man. They're huge. This guy, the guy on River Monsters, and my friend CB's a fisherman, and he's like, oh, they exaggerate that show. They, in some cases, they do. In some cases, I'll give them that they do go a little overboard. However, some of these things are gnarly. Dude fishes in rivers with deep sea fishing poles. I'm talking like the size of a broomstick. Crazy. And he'll get something on there. And dude, he'll pull back. And this is a six foot tall guy. Probably 180. He will pull back on that thing as hard as he can. And you see his. biceps coming out the veins in his arms he's pulling back and this thing is and he'll finally he'll work this thing for a couple of hours and he'll finally and then he's got assistants that are there and when it gets close enough they drag it out dude i'm telling you this catfish was the size of that couch easily easily the size of that couch and
When the show starts, he says, lots of people believe that it's not possible for these creatures to exist. That their existence is all just made up. But local villagers here believe that it is true. I'm going to find out. It's nuts. Some of the stuff that he's pulled out, dude. Some of the most ferocious looking fish with the most... Terrifying teeth. Like when you're saying jaws, those are terrifying teeth. I'm talking about teeth that are sharp as razors and they're about the size of a cigar and they are four inches long. And he'll catch them and bring them on shore. And in a lot of cases, the villagers will eat these fish because it's always in the Amazon or some weird place. Dude. Piranha. He's done piranha. Giant catfish. Huge, huge creatures. Some of them in the United States. There was a... Have you ever heard of an alligator gar? Oh yeah, they have them in Texas. Dude, those things are vicious. Yeah, they have them in the lake that my parents live on. And they're not supposed to be there. They do? There's alligator gar in the lake that your parents live on? Yes.
You invited me there. Yeah, I've been swimming at every show. They're not going to eat you. You were going to allow me in there. They're not going to mess with me. Swallow me. We've never seen them, but we've heard they're there. We caught them. Also water moccasins. Oh, yeah. Those are there too? Ew! Ew, ew, ew. You're on a jet ski. I mean, we jump in the water, but it's right by our dock. What if you fall off? I just got those little bubbles in my stomach. We never fall off. I've never fallen off a jet ski. You haven't? I go 60 on that SOB. I've never fallen off. I didn't know there was water moccasins in there. Oh, yeah. All over Texas. It's a lake, bro. It's a lake. You go to a lake here, there's no water moccasins. The lakes here are not anything like the lakes in Texas. Not even close. There's alligator gar and... Yeah, and we will go at some point, and you and your son will be on a jet ski. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah, yeah, I'll take Jake then. That's fine. M1, Cat Wrangler from Spring Valley. How you doing? Good. You see the episode where he, I don't remember what river it was in, but he catches a manta ray that's like the size of a car. It was in Taiwan. Stop. It was in Taiwan, and it had babies. Yeah, it was. It was easily.
Six hours to bring that thing up on shore. Literally. No, no, no. Manta ray? It was a manta ray. It was a freshwater manta ray. The first one that he had, he said was bigger. And they show it over and over again in slow motion. He gets it up to the boat after fighting with it, I think, four hours. And it goes, snap. Four hours. He fought with it. Four hours. And he said, yes, you are. And he said that when he got that thing to the boat, he knew in his mind that what you were going to see was the biggest freshwater fish that he'd ever brought in. And he's brought in huge fish. So what are they doing with them when they catch them? Are they eating? He always lets them go. He always lets them go. What do they bring, just a look at them? Yeah. Yeah. He wants to see, you know, he brings them up to debunk the myth. You know, he's like, is this real? Can it eat kids or can it eat people? And he goes out and catches these to see how big their teeth are and how large they are. And it's a pretty cool show. Yeah. And that's always how it starts. It's like, does it really exist? Every single time, it exists. Every single time. He figures it out for sure. And you know what I think is a trip about the dude is that, I mean, a million people can have the same fishing pole line, whatever.
The guy knows what to use because he catches these things. That's what gets me. This guy is the smartest fisherman. Bait? What do you catch him with? But he knows. There was one in Alaska. And this fish was so freaking big that they took a picture of it from the air. From a helicopter. He pulled a stump off the shore. It was like he hooked the line off to the stump and he just ripped it across the shore. And that one scared me because I was like, what are you going to do, dude? Once you get it. And he did. He did. It was like a freshwater sturgeon. Yeah, something crazy. Something like 110 years old. That's how they get that big. But it was so huge that they took an aerial photo of it. Thought it bit a prop of a boat and stopped the engine from running. Yeah. Oh, my God. Oh, dude. It's a creepy show, but great. 5701949 if you have any more of those. The 500 millionth download for Angry Birds. Has occurred. Now, I know that this is a very popular game, but I don't know what it is or how it works or what the deal is. Jasper loves it. What is it? You get these different size birds, and you put them in a slingshot, and you sling it over, and there's usually a building built out of sticks and rocks and stuff, and you hit it, and inside that are other little birds, and you have to pop them. So you get to pull them and pop it, and then you go on from level to level. Okay. Violent.
I wonder why. Yeah, bring it in here, Chris. I want to know why it's so popular. It's just fun. Jamie spent about six months of our marriage married to Angry Birds. Now, Chris, why is it popular? It's just fun. It's fun. The way it sounds, it's crazy. You take a slingshot and you fling it into, you want to play? Yeah, I want to try. So I can see what, I want to see what the hubbub is. Yeah. And how do I do it? So you take that bird. And I pull him back. And you pull him that way. Other way. Oh, other way. Other way. And then you sling it. And then you break those and you try to make it so that it knocks down and gets rid of the pigs. Oh, I'm downloading this today. That was fun. Yeah. Kids love it. That was fun. Different birds do different things. Eventually you get to a spot, though, where I can't get past a certain spot. I think Jamie beat it. She did? Crazy. You have to spend a lot of time with those birds. Birds. Angry birds. All of you. L.O.B. is not into that stuff. You should get Battleship for your phone. It's badass. Just FYI. All right. Let's do that. It's a true statement. Oh, boy. I'm reaching in. I'm going to pull out a statement, and then we're going to discuss. All establishments should only be allowed to have motion-censored lights outside of business hours. That's a true statement. All establishments should only have motion-censored lights outside of business hours. Yep.
Do you understand what I'm saying? Okay. It's a lot of light pollution with people having lights on. You walk by a store, you can see the entire store. The lights are on, I guess, to take away from theft or something like that so that people can see in there. But if someone is going to go in and rob it, you just need a motion sensor. You don't need the light on all the time. Yeah. And you've noticed this, and it's bothered you. Yes. I have never heard the term. Light pollution? You've never heard that? You've never heard that? Me neither. Oh, it's rampant. Welcome to your life. You're going to show me. When we go into break, you're going to, I want to see this. You can't think, okay. I probably noticed it, but I haven't noticed it. Every business, almost every business. Like Target. Yeah. Yeah. Lights are all on in the whole place. Inside. Nobody's in there. It's closed. The lights are on. Oh, oh, oh. I'll take it one step farther. City Hall. Go by there at night.
It's just lit up like a Christmas tree. Like, really? What do you need it all lit up for? You mean inside the building? Just outside lights, inside lights? Well, outside is safe. No, they're lighting up, you know, the curves and the... Why do you need that? The sidewalks and stuff like that should be lit. I still think those should be motion detected, too. The two most frugal people in the world. noticed that. That it was wasteful. You and I, Woods, would never notice this at all. Why do you think you can't see any stars here? Oh my gosh. I went to a friend's neighborhood that is a there's some term for it. Mexican. No, they have no street lights whatsoever and all their lights have to be down facing. So it can't be lighting up the tree in your front yard. It has to be a light, small light in the top shining down. It's a high dollar neighborhood. Are we just... It looks beautiful. You walk outside and you can see the stars. You can see what's going on. Oh, yeah. I can't see the stars. Oh, I can't see them. I can see stars in my backyard. It's so wasteful. So wasteful. Why do you need that? It's costing you money, especially something like City Hall. It's costing taxpayers money. Yeah, we talk about running out of energy, but yet we're going to leave all these lights on all the time. Eyes, paper.
Can't people keep their eyes? Your lights are in my eyes. It is my paper. I can't see my paper. It's my paper. Turn the effing lights off. Yes. Didn't your dad teach you anything? Leave a room and turn your lights off. All right. You got me on that because my dad got into me on that. Mine too. All right. Here you go. The more you use Facebook, the dumber you become. That's a true statement. That's ridiculous. Agreed. It's not. And I am at the point where it's almost time. to shut the mother down. Your IQ hasn't become lower. Dude, I read less. I listen to music less. I play the guitar less. Do everything less. I do everything less. This is heroin, and it's the needles in my vein. Really? And it wastes probably, and I mean wastes, two to three hours a day. Yep, I agree with that. And dude, it's killing me, and I'm getting dumber. No. Because you know what I used to do? I used to read. I used to read two or three books at a time. I'm reading one book now, which for me, that's not good. I used to read two or three books. Your IQ is the same. No. I'm getting dumber, man. It sucks me in, and I'm like, oh, so-and-so's in a relationship? Well, let me spend 15 minutes seeing what this broad looks like. I never look at the news feed.
I almost always just look. I look at the news feed 5% of the time. The 95% is our page and my page, our page and my page. It's making me insane. I agree. It's making me insane. Got to control the amount of time you spend. Yeah, I'm going to have to do like my dad used to do with the Nintendo and say, you get an hour. You get an hour a day. The rest of the time, I'll be reading, practicing my guitar, doing other stuff. Put a timer on it. Here we go. I'm telling you, I'm losing it. Nintendo. If you have seen the movie Shawshank Redemption and you don't like it, there's something psychologically wrong with you. That's a true statement. If you're a human being, and by human being I mean a person living, a human, encompassing any and all, and you see the movie Shawshank, now let's say you're an aborigine in the Outback, and they translate it. So you watch it. but it's translated to your native tongue. You will like it. And if you're in that tribe and you don't like it, even though the rest of the tribe is sobbing at the end when Ol' Red... When Ol' Red... And... Andy. Andy. Meet up. He's scrubbing that boat. He's scrubbing that boat.
It's kind of gay the way they meet up, actually. They kiss. It is. It's not gay at all. It's not homoerotic. It's not gay at all. A little bit. Well, you know. They were in prison. They were in prison for some time, so. A little bit. The rest of the movie all the way in. That one little scene is a little. That's the greatest scene. It's like Rocky and Apollo. Zihuatanejo. Real good. Flipping around in the water. Holy cow woods. Zihuatanejo. What's that mean? It's where they went. That's where they went. That's where they met. Tell me that isn't impressive. Yeah. That is. I think you see Watanejo. My friend Andy had the softest lips. It's identical red. Morgan Freeman. Identical Morgan Freeman. Thank you. Maybe it's because I'm Irish. That's the greatest movie ever made. It's so good. It's... God, it's good. Let's just say this about Shawshank Redemption. The person that watches it and it ends and you go, what'd you think? And they're like, it's stupid. They are Dexter. Yes. They're Dexter. I agree with that. They're a sociopath. They're Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker. They have a star with a circle around it tattooed on their palm in their hand. I've never met. No. Never. Never. Never. Met anyone that goes, never. I'm not a big fan. You know why they said that movie did not win an Oscar? Why? Because of the name. Because of the name. If they had named it freaking...
The Green Mile. If they had named it Red and Andy's Excellent Adventure, it would have won an Oscar. They said people were confused by what Shawshank was and Redemption. They didn't get it. It's phenomenal. The original, it was Stephen King wrote it. It was a short story called Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption. Yeah. And the short story is so much better, if you can believe it. How is, I mean, what happens to your heart when he's digging up. Andy Dufresne. That's five football fields to you and me. But when he digs up the box. Oh, it's there. Oh, God, the box. He digs up the box. Looking around all nervous. He's looking around, and you're watching it, and you're like, this is just great storytelling. Great storytelling. It gets me when he's in the store, when Red's in the store. Oh, when he has to go pee. And he asks the guy if he can go pee. Yeah. And he's like, well, when he's handling the groceries and he's just kind of like. He's like frail. Yeah, he's so frail. It makes you so sad. You're like, just run. Just go, Red. Yeah. And when he's carving his name. Oh. And after you saw what happened to Brooksy and Brooksy hung himself. Yeah. He's carving his name. You're like, don't do it. Don't do it. Don't, Red. Don't. You got so much to live for. Yeah. Well, Andy, I'll see you again.
It's so good. It's real good. It's my wife's favorite movie. I think mine, too. It's my BFMC's favorite movie. Yeah, it's good, man. Boy, that's a good movie. I have to watch it. I have to watch it now. Yeah, I'll watch it. Do not go away because... And we didn't get one call from anybody that don't like Shawshank. Yeah, I dare you. I freaking dare you. You're going to get attacked. Oh, yeah. Bye, gorgeous. Good job. Here's traffic. Get ready for a special week of great values at Vaughn's. Start with our huge wine extravaganza. Coronado Bridge westbound mid-span, an accident. And the 78 westbound Nordahl Road, we've got an accident with a car hitting a guardrail. This report also brought to you by Sharp. Hey, have you guys seen Jay's IMDB profile? That guy is a superstar. Three exclamation points. Well, L-O-B. Yep.
Printed it up for me. Old detective. Old bloodhound. Gender. Male. All male. Height. What's male? Six feet. Weight. 180 pounds. Of course. Age range. 35 to 42. That's the age I can play. But wait, you're 48, so it should at least go up to 48. Well, yeah, but there's no way I could qualify. It's the age you can play. No one would believe. They're going to be like, what's that high schooler doing playing a 48-year-old man? Yeah. Where did this come from? What do you mean? I mean, where did this come from? It's my profile. Once you have a couple of movies underneath your belt, then you get a profile. Once one thing is sold online, you then can create an IMDB profile. You can create your own. When something is sold. So I've been in a couple of movies. It's no big deal. What did you star in? I starred in a couple of Chainsaw's movies. Yes, Dave Shelley and Chainsaw. But those were movies that they did themselves. I was in that. But they sold them. And I had a full-on role. And they sold them in the market. They outsold all the other movies that were on sale during that time period. Now, I was at the end of that movie. You could have a profile. Yeah. Could.
But you may have just been, you know, like a small part. I mean, I had like a lot of talking parts. Physique. How many takes did that take? Just reveling in the old glory days? Physique. Athletic. You know that. Hair color. Brown. Hair length. Receding. Excuse me? I said hair length. Receding. Yeah, it's an option. Eyes. Hazel. Ethnicity. Caucasian. You know that. Misspelled, probably. No, it's a drop down. I think it's a drop down. Otherwise, I would have just put white. Get ready. Voice type. Baritone. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Let that one. I'm going to give you some loving. It's sinking in. So, you know, central casting is like, we need a baritone. Yep. Here I come. Hello, my name is...
Yeah, can I speak? Yes, ma'am. Can I please speak to Jay Isbell, please? Oh, yeah. Hang on. Hello. Performance skills. Juggling. Stunts. Host. I can host like a mad dog. Host. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Athletic skills, surfing, track and field, cycling, swimming. Yeah. Okay, those are all real. Holy crap. I could put more, but horseback riding, you know, hockey. J, J, J, J. Scuba diving. J, J. I go crazy. Accents. Here we go. No. No. No, Mike. Southern. Is the first. Of course. You know that. Come on, boys. Come on, y'all. British. Oh, hip-hip. Cheerio. Cheerio, pip-hip. I have to go. Now, as long... L.O.P. has a paper bag up her mouth, and she's breathing into a paper bag. Hold on. Holy cow. Hold on. Holy cow. Holy cow. Hold on. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Hold on. L.O.P., can I hit that? Yeah, yeah. Can I hit that?
Oh, he is shirt shimmying. He is shirt shimmying. Hey, you know. He is shirt shimmying. Gotta throw it out there. He is shirt shimmying. Gotta get the audition. As long as the role... We're just breathing deeply in and out of the bag. Even Chris is embarrassed. Chris is embarrassed for his boss. As long as the British role only calls for the lines, Pip, Pip, Cheerio. He's fine. Get your King's Ale here, everybody. Give me a chip chip. Chip chip. Cheerio. Can you say, good morning, sir. Can you tell me where the loo is? Oh, excuse me, sir. Can you tell me where the loo is? Identical British accent. He also says, these last two, bro. Stop. Mike, I'm going to die. Set of rocks. Yeah. I got to give him something to read in these. This is too good. Yes. German. What? Hold on. German. Hold on. I need a point of reference. Can you give me a point of reference? No. No. This is your IMDB website. Well, before I go in, they would tell me. This is IMDB. They would say, hey, you're going to do a little. Jay Isbell. You're going to do a little of this. No one can give you a sample of their German. Yeah, they call you in and they go, hey, can we hear your German? You're a U-boat captain. In the car, I would listen to a German accent before I walked in. Here is the situation.
You are a German U-boat captain. Okay. You have just been hit by British torpedoes. I don't know. You have a young rookie that you're trying to tell what to do in this time of disaster. That's right. Say the words on the paper. What? Oh, yeah. I was reading them in German. That was German. What? What? What did you say? Lunch for four. Charles. Charles Jr.'s. Try the new Steakhouse $6 booger. Oliveira flavors from Steakhouse in a booger. Sir. Sir. Did you just... Why am I doing Japanese? It's not easy. Right. Why did you just tell me to eat a booger? Why did you tell me that, sir? You just told me to eat a booger. Get back on the U-boat. Tell me again.
Get on the U-boat. We'll have lunch for four at Carl's Jr. And what will we eat, sir? Try the new steakhouse, $6. $6 what, sir? All great flavors, steakhouse burger. But what is that? It's a burger. Like in your nose, sir? No, it's burger you eat. Casting director's like, I don't know. What do you guys think? Don't call us. We'll call you. You ready for his life? This is real. You don't believe me? Go to imdb.com and type in J-J-A-Y-Isbell. I-S-B-E-L-L. Jamaican. Oh, you're Jamaican me horny, baby. Hey, everybody. I don't want to laugh because I don't want to miss anything. I know. I'm holding my breath. I am, too. I'm holding my breath. I can't laugh during this whole segment because I'm afraid of... Identical Jamaican. Yeah, it's my Jamaican laugh. I'm going to die. More. More. More. I'm going to die. Tell us about what you know.
Hey, come over to Jamaica. Have a good time. Jamaica is now located in Italy. Italy. Hey, oh, there he is. Why did you put that? Why did you put that? Why do you have this? You've got to get your foot in the door. There's a lot of call for these things. Holy crap. Dance. Club and freestyle. Look at him. Oh, my God. I'm freestyling. Chris, get the video camera. Please, please, please. Should we come in here and do it? Come in here. Come in here. Get some music. Yeah, because I want to get both dance. I want to get both club and freestyle. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm going to die. Holy cow. You did not put that on there. Wait, wait, wait, wait. What would that be? Style of music besides club. What is that called? A house. Techno. Sandstorm. Techno or house. Techno or house. Do we have any cardboard I can spin around on? Because I was going to do some freestyle. There's a box over there. That. Okay. Let's see. You know, normally it would be in a club setting. Here we go. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. He's doing... Jay is dancing right now. Why are you pretending to chew gum? He calls this... You know what he calls this? I'm raving. He calls... This dance is called 80s Dad. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.
He's doing a Scottish. Oh my gosh, Jay. Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay. I had a little stroke. I had a little stroke. Why couldn't this have happened like on my coupon? I had a little stroke. Oh my gosh. What just happened? My tongue just got thick. I just died and came back to life. When I get home, I'm going to go, babe, were you listening? Were you listening? Were you listening? Were you listening? Did you hear it? I feel so right headed. What's the other dance? Freestyle. Freestyle. What is freestyle? That's kind of a mix-up that I had going on there. What kind of music would freestyle be, too? Normally, I need a piece of plywood or something. Well, I know, but what type of music? What would be a freestyle song or music? Anything with a good beat. Oh, anything with a good beat. But I can't do it because it's carpet and I get carpet burns. Well, you can give us a taste. Oh, my God. I think you got what you were going to get right there. Oh, wow.
Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. If you guys want to go to the club. I've never seen anything. I would go to the club. I kind of want to now. Me too. His job categories just include acting. That's it. That's it. Job category, acting. Just an actor. Well, just an actor. His work history is commercial and radio. Please go to IMD freaking B. Yeah. Write a review of me. If you have seen any of my movies, make sure you review me so I can get some more props out there. He recently updated that because that's his Mikey show picture. Yes. Yes. Well, you know, you got to make sure it's all set. You going somewhere? Never know. It's true. Just wait for that big break. It's true. Things can change in a blink. Hey, how do I get on this? You got to be able to dance first off. Oh, my gosh. That was the best thing I've ever seen. That dance. I've been to Coachella with him twice. Chris, as soon as you can. That's it. He does that at Coachella? Yeah, I've seen it at Coachella. He dances like that. No, he does not. Yes, he does. He damn straight does. Unashamed. Unabashedly. Unabashedly just out there in front of kids. Backpack on, visor, shirtless. You got it and you just flaunt it. Shirtless with a backpack on and a visor. Dancing. He still has his Coachella wristband on. That's a true statement. For those of you listening that thought that what L.O.B. just said might have been a joke.
It's not. It's not a joke. He's still wearing his Coachella bracelet. From April. It's my version of being different. You think his... Oh my gosh. Do you think his kids are like, Dad, lose the freaking... Lose the freaking Coachella bracelet. It's unbelievable. That whole segment blew my mind. I feel like I need to go to therapy. I know, I know. I'm going to be sitting in my shrink's office going, I saw my friend dance. And he called it like house music. Club dancing. And it looked like he was dancing to Huey Lewis on the deck of a boat on a carnival cruise in 1989. On ecstasy. Pointer Sisters. Oh my gosh. Guys, I'm over here doing the neutron dance real good. I want to relive that whole segment. Me too. Oh, I'm going to watch that video ten times. You know what I love? He made that. Paige. Yeah, he did. He put all the attributes that he's good at. Proudly made that. Is that speaker on? He is incredible. It's unbelievable. I got my ab workout in for the day. I blew a gasket in my head. That's good. How could I have ever known? You have incredible vision, my friend. Oh, I don't, though. You should take credit for it. We had lunch at Pizzicato. Oh, my gosh. We had lunch at Pizzicato.
All I knew about this man, one of the nicest guys I thought. One of the nicest guys I'd ever met. We're sitting there at lunch. He goes, hey, man, what happened? I said, well, you know, this and that. And, you know, I didn't know. And I was out on the street. I just want to tell you, man, if you're looking for a producer. And I said, do you have any producing experience? And he goes, yeah. I said, what, where? KRBE, Houston. And I know that station. It's a big station. I said, really? You producer? He said, well, I mean, yeah. I mean, yeah. I didn't want to press that. So I just go, all right. We had our lunch. I gave him the dish. You know, I gave him the scoop. Left, went home. Said, babe, what did you think of Jay being the producer? She goes, has he done it? I said, yeah. He says, he has.
She goes, well, you've always said he's the best promotion director you've ever met. True story. I said, I know he'll do it. I think he could do this. Never did I think in a million years that what was inside this man. I mean, it's gold in its most purified form. Yeah, it's liquid gold. It's liquid gold that's been purified and purified and purified until it's just sparkling gold. You can drink it. Yeah, you can drink it. That's RJ. I can't undo that dance that I just saw. And I don't want to. It's unbelievable. I don't want to. I'm going to fall asleep tonight thinking about it. He wears those big Claude Hopper shoes, and they're just boom, boom, boom, boom. Gotta keep them moving. You know what I love? I love that look in his eye that says, he's fake chewing gum, too. Yeah. I'm in the club. He's in the club. I'm in the club. That's what you do. Fake chewing gum. I love him. I love him. God dang. I love him. With a Jamaican accent, no less. Yeah.
Hey, man. Hey, man. It's Carl's Jr., man. You got to get in the door one way or the other. Yeah? And they're going to see that and they're going to go, what is wrong with this guy? The German got me. Pip, pip. You know what sometimes what they'll do when you're standing in front of a casting director? Oh. Says, here you can do a such and such impression. Let's hear it. They'll just do that. Yeah. So you got to be prepared. And what Jay will say is, well, start me off. You start, I'll finish. Yeah. Start me off something. They would say, Excuse me? I said, you know, let me hear what it sounds like. Get out. Get out. Yeah. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. It's identical. Beat it. That was identical. Yeah. Beat it. Oh, you like me now? Is that the deal? Never mind. Oh. No. Because everything Michael does just sucks, right? You don't like Michael Jackson so much, Woods. I don't like the sneeze. Why? What's the problem? I don't like the sneeze. You don't like the sneeze? I hate the sneeze. I love the sneeze.
Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't. Don't. That's your mom. Yeah. Sorry. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. That's crazy. That's crazy. Why do you hate me so much? I don't like to sneeze. I think you actually, it's like, you know what it is? It's like, it's kind of like Miley Cyrus. You pretend you don't like it. That's right. I don't pretend. Yeah, you do. I'm Miley Cyrus. You like her. You like me a lot. I like your imitation. What do you mean? This is my voice. I don't like your music. Oh, like a party of the USA? So stupid. That kind of stuff? Yes. I don't know any of my other songs. He does. He does. I don't like it. Let's do it to that, Michael. I'll admit to a lot of stupid stuff. All right. You ready? Yeah. I'm going to start it. Okay. I have a lot of time. I got it.
You like it, though? Yes. I love it. See? You just have to hear it. You have to give it a chance. I once married a girl who looked just like you. Did you? I did. Who was that? Her name was Samantha. I met her when I climbed Jack's Beanstalk. I thought you were saying that I look like the chubby woman that... mothered your children. Or Lisa Marie Presley. That's Lisa Marie. No. Oh, no, no, no. That was that. Debbie. Debbie. I look like Debbie. No, that's Debbie Rowe. You don't look like Debbie Rowe. Don't I? Donnie. Donnie Lee. Donnie Lee. Good one. Y'all, I don't like it when you make fun of Jay. Yeah, thanks, Michael. It really makes, it makes me uncomfortable. Although, I will say there's one thing that he does that I really like. What's that? I like when he says precocious. It's really safe. And I also like, because I'm childlike, I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. P-Nuttity. P-Nuttity. What? P-Nuttity. I love the inflection. P-Nuttity. Oysters. What? Oysters. Say again?
Oysters. Oysters. Hopefully she gets put in the genual populace, whatever it's called. General populace. All aboard. Mike, do you know that this morning when I got out of bed, the first thing that popped in my mind is, I hope she gets put in the genual populace. General. General. There we go. The Denver Broncos. It's not like it's Taylor Swift. Doesn't say that I shall not kill. We're looking to get a skateboard. I just don't want to get discharged too much money for it. It's out of context. Oh, God. Oh, wow. Aston Kutcher. Field gold kicker. Ben Rothensbergen. And there's Marty Schuttenheimer.
That's a lot of Mikey's coin slot at the Mikey-thon. Montanya. Game over. Dirty babe. See these shackles with me, I'm the slave. I'll let you with me if I misbehave. It's just that no one makes me feel this way. That is the greatest. You're the greatest thing that's ever happened. Have I ever done that? Oh, that was funny. It's not like it's Taylor Swift. Not like it's Taylor Swift. First thing in my head, genuine populace. First thing this morning. That's awesome. That's awesome. By the way, we're going to play catchphrase. Right now. Oh, man. Well, I called them because I called my regular car insurance to pay my six-month premium, and it almost doubled before I even, I don't even exactly know why. Once I found out, it seemed to be a big surprise to me as to why it increased. So I remember hearing AIS all the time on the Mikey show, so I go ahead and give him a call, and within like half an hour, AIS found a company that had the same coverage.
half the price of the new premium of my old insurance. So they ended up saving me like $600 in 25 minutes. That's amazing. And that is a real story. And the number is 1-800-777-4AIS, 1-800-777-4247. Were you kind of kicking yourself like, why didn't I do this sooner? insurance i didn't know about ais at all and then all of a sudden i called the agent just to pay my bill and out of nowhere got this increase and i thought yeah why don't i do this sooner that's awesome lily thank you so much for the call we appreciate it thank you we'll see you Additional products and services will be offered for sale.
