It's a Mikey show, and we're broadcasting live from the heart of Mission Valley, directly to your ears. And if you want to, you can call us, 570-1949. Or you can text us, 949mikey at gmail.com. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. That's Woodsy. He's our sports guy. L-O-B, otherwise known as Lauren O'Brien. is wearing her Amelia Earhart jacket today. Made it fly away. Yeah, she's our assistant producer. Our executive producer is Jay Isbell, and he is 48 years of age. He's a fine example of an executive. That's right. Fine example. That's right. Thank you, thank you, finally. And our phone screener is Chris. It's Cross. It's Cross. Who we just found out today. Oh, no! Stop. He's going to be leaving us. No! Someone matches salary. There's benefits. Yeah. Hours. Great. But I am assuming that Nicole is going to be replacing you. Yeah. And so Jay's playing. She's 20 years old, Jay. 20, Jay.
I thought I played the sound effect. You have daughters older than her. It doesn't make her any less attractive. She's a pretty girl. She is, I noticed. She's very pretty. She's very sweet. That's not true. That's what you said to me just this morning. You said, man. She's really hot. I don't know what you're talking about. I said she is a very sweet girl. She's a hard worker. That might be what I said. No. It's identical what I said. No. I think you said opposite. Opposite. I did not. 180. I did not. 180 what you said. For the record. 180 what you said. Where is she? Honey. Whose record? Yeah. She's coming tomorrow. She's at Woodsy's appearance, which I filled in for it last night. Is this why you've been acting this way? Yes. That's exactly what he's known. Every day we say to Chris, we're like, what's going on with you? What's wrong? Why are you different? Why are you different? What's the matter? What do you know? And he's like, nothing, nothing, nothing. Oh, good. And I stunk. Right, Chris. If we weren't going to miss you, we wouldn't. Quitter. I teared up this morning when I hugged him. I'm not kidding. I did. I love that kid. He smells so good and he looks so good. It kills me. It rips my heart out. My aorta is split in half. So I guess no coffee now that you're taking off. That's what he told me the reason was. He said, I don't want to get Mikey coffee anymore. Well done, Mike.
Yeah. Way to go. You, personally. Perfect. Thanks a lot. Freaking perfect. Any minute, my alarm clock's going to go off. I'm going to hit it. I'm going to wake up. And I'm still going to be working at Domino's Pizza. I'm still 17. Everything's cool. None of this crap ever happened. I was never in radio. Wow. I'm a carpenter by trade. Easy, Jay-Z. Jay-Z. There it goes. My morning stroke. There it is. There it goes. Just building nativity scenes real good. My neck just burnt. Just taking calls. Somebody from a blocked phone number just called. I have a couple creditors calling me, so if they call, I'll make sure to give you my phone. I love that. I haven't paid my credit card bill, which I have like a $250 limit. So it's like a $15 minimum, and I just forget. And they just, you need to pay your bill. They drive me nuts. Is this Steven Woods? Yes, it's me. And they're mean, too. They're mean now. Because they get paid good if they collect. Yes.
What is your freaking problem, man? It's $15, man. Oh, for goodness sake. Let's take care of it right now. Let's just take care of it and we take the care of it. No, because you asked me to, I'm not going to. I'm actually going to physically mail you a check. You want to know what? What? I have control of your credit. That's fair enough. And you know what? I will do what I want to do. You know what I have? What? Password. When I get home, I can log on and do what I want from home. After I've had drink of... Oh. After I've had a drink. Well, you know what? Strong drink. You can spend about $250, so have at it. I'm bringing you down. I'm going to bring you down to Chinatown. 570-1949 is our number. And you give us a call right now if you want to. Word of the day is equipment. And I'll say it between now and 10. And when you hear me say it, call or not. Give me a pair of tickets to see. Black lips. Raw Raw Riot, they're going to be at Mammoth Mountain, and that means you get lift tickets to go. And lift tickets at Mammoth are very high in demand right now. I've got to get up there this year. Place is rad. And we have Dallas Green coming in today. Wow! Dallas Green from City in Color is coming in and going to perform. Holy cow. As you know, the show is tonight, and it is sold out.
If you've never heard him before, he sounds like this. I know he's talking about church, but he's not a Christian artist. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Just in case somebody wanted to come in here and throw water balloons at me. I know it. I knew it. Can you never rest? Give me that rest. Is he married? I don't know. It sounds like a song about someone he knew he was going to marry. He has a lot of songs about women, I think. A lot of songs about women. Don't you think so, Woods? Oh, man. Yes. Some good. Some bad. Some bad. Yes. Like, not bad, but like, hey, I miss you. Heartbreak. You kill me. Yeah. Love. Yeah, your words are like knives. Yes. And you hurt me. Oh, boy.
See, I have to treat his music like Doritos. I can't have it all the time because it's a little, you know. You get into it. He is an amazing musician. His guitar playing is honestly, as a guitar player, second to none. Really? It's so complicated and brilliant. Yeah. Lyricist. I am giddy. to see this cat today. I woke up this morning. I was real tired, sore from playing golf because I'm fat. And I was like, oh, dude, Dallas is coming in. Get out of bed. No, you're both dressed up. Getting pretty. I'm wearing a t-shirt. Yeah, you just look all smooth. I dressed up. Woods dressed up. 100%. I have a button down. Hey, what's up? I'm Steve Woods. I'm a musician, too. I'm a cover artist. It's good to meet you. Hey, dude, Dallas. I play in a...
Adult semi-professional baseball league. Which has actually been practicing that past lick for like six weeks now. I can show it to you, Dallas. I mean, I can do it. Yeah. If you want me to. If you don't, it's cool too. Well, I mean, but I can. Yeah, I can do it. And I learned it. I just heard this song this morning. I just picked this up. Yeah. Osmosis. I've been playing that lick. When I was at the other station, this kid that worked there that was, you know, same kind of capacity as like. Chris, who's leaving us. Right. For Greener Pasture. Yes. Brought me a CD and it was a burnt, you know, he burnt it. It said City and Color on it. He handed it to me. He goes, I think you'll like this. And I said, oh, thanks. Took me a month and a half to listen to. Weird. First time I put it in, I pressed pause and I went, babe, babe, come here. And I played it and she goes, who's that? I go. And I had to eject it and go, city and calure. Calure. Canadian spelling. Yeah. I go, it's city and calure. And she goes, they're really good. I go, yeah. Yeah, I know. This is what I played her. You fast forward a few years and he has sold out House of Blues tonight. And the other deal is he doesn't do interviews in the morning.
And the reason he doesn't is because he's played the night before and also because his voice isn't right. But he has agreed that he will make an exception for the Mikey show today. That's so awesome. So you're a young female and you meet this gentleman and come over to my house, have a drink. And he picks up that guitar and launches into that. How's that work for you? Good Lord. I bet it's pretty good. Well, this was the news that I woke up to this morning. It was about a guy that I never really saw and wasn't really very familiar with. But I had a lot of respect for. Mainly because of my dad. My dad is a big boxing fan. And so when I woke up this morning and heard about the passing of Joe Frazier, it was definitely a bummer. Joe Frazier. Take a listen.
you began to trade leather with Ellie that night, that this could be your night. Let's say that one particular night, you don't train for one night, you know what I mean? I started from day one. From day one that I was going to be the champion of the world, nobody in the world would want to stop me. The man above had control of my hands, my ability, and let's say, hey, I wasn't the greatest healthiest man in the world. There he is. Joe Frazier. Lived a long life. Smokin' Joe. 67 years old. 67, and he was very famous for the Thrilla in Manila. Yeah, he beat Muhammad Ali. That's right. Hey, Dad, are you there? Yes, uh-huh. My dad's a big fight fan. What are your memories of Joe Frazier? Probably the same as everybody else, the Thriller in Manila.
That was one of the ones that just found the world, not just in the United States. Hey, Dad, what kind of fighter was he? Was he a loudmouth kind of guy? Was he like Ali where he would taunt guys, or what was he like? No, I thought he was rather quiet. He just didn't take any crap from anybody, and he focused on the ring itself. I used to like the hats he wore. He wore these little, kind of small, and he was especially around the face and that. But they looked good on him, you know. And he loved the life of the city of New York and popular guy. He had a great boxer. I mean, he just had trouble stopping him. He'd come at you like a train, and he wouldn't stop. I remember one time when he fought Ali. Ali, you know, popped him pretty. And he started kind of damn late because he was ready. But he wouldn't. He just wanted to fight some more.
Great fighter. What was his deal, Dad, that he was a hard puncher? Because you know how fighters have different deals, like their thing is a certain thing. What was his deal? Was it stamina? Yeah, I think it was the fact that he wouldn't stop coming at you. He just came at you, came at you, and heavy hits. But it was a left hook. Left hook, yeah. That was really powerful. That was his deal, the left. Yeah. Well. My dad has always been a fan of the sweet science. And I grew up, man, with my dad traveling. You know, it was before the day of pay-per-view in your house. And so I grew up, you know, my dad would travel to Phoenix with his friends to see in a great big stadium, they would do closed-circuit TV in a stadium to watch these fights. And my dad was into it, man. And even to this day, he gets Ring Magazine. Wow.
So I told him about it this morning. My dad didn't know. And I woke him up before the show started and said, hey, did you hear about Joe Frazier? And he said, oh, that's sad. But, yeah, we lost a great one. And, you know, hey, Dad, thanks for coming on. I appreciate it. All right. Love you very much. I love you, Pop. My dad. Good dude. So, yeah, kind of a sad story about Joe. About Joe Frazier. Yeah, and for the record, I mentioned nothing of it yesterday. It had nothing to do with me. Thank goodness. He had liver cancer. It wasn't me. It wasn't you. How old was he? He was 67. 67. That's young. Yeah. Well, you sure didn't do me any favors, Woods. Oh, Andy Rooney. Oh, God. For goodness sake. I mean, you talked about me. Well, first of all, you talked about that little boy, the six-year-old from different strokes. Yeah, Gary Coleman. That's right. What's the deal with Woods talking about the little boy from different strokes and not 12 hours later, boom, he drops that? You'd think that Woods learned his lesson. He wasn't really a little boy. Yeah, he was. He was about seven, eight years old. He was actually 46. I think he had a disorder that kept him seven to eight years old his entire life. Size of a seven. Yes. Is that right? Yeah. Well, you would know.
You're a killer. Yeah, serial killer. Woods said this morning, I'm glad I did not talk about Joe Frazier. Yep. I would have been barraged on Facebook. Yes, you were. Like I was this weekend with, you are a murderer. You killed Andy Rooney. That's right. It didn't help that Andy Rooney was 92 years old. Yeah. It didn't. It was me. Now, I'll take credit for, what's his name, Arnold Drummond. I'll take credit for that guy. Yes. You did what you did to Gary Coleman. 100%. I made a joke that day and he dropped it. 570-1949 is our number if you want to give us a call. Rest in peace. I gave the word of the day, right? Equipment. And so I'll weave that in somewhere during the show. The other big news yesterday was the trial of Conrad Murray ended yesterday. And Conrad Murray was Michael Jackson's doctor who they believe gave the fatal... propofol injection. But anyway, this is yesterday. And what happened? We, the jury in the above entitled action, find the defendant, Conrad Robert Murray, guilty of the crime of involuntary manslaughter in violation of penal code section 192 subsection B. Alleged victim, Michael Joseph Jackson.
Alleged date of June 25th, 2009. Wow. Wow. This is the judge talking to him just after the verdict. This is not a crime involving mistake of judgment. This is not a crime involving administration of drugs per se. This is a crime where the end result was the death of a human being. Dr. Murray's reckless conduct in this case. poses a demonstrable risk to the safety of the public. If Dr. Murray remains out of custody on bond, and even though Dr. Murray is a medical doctor, and even though he has been practicing, public safety demands that he be remanded. Based upon my evaluation of all of these factors, I conclude that remand is appropriate. Dr. Murray is remanded to the custody of the Los Angeles Sheriff with no bail. As you know, all of the Jacksons sound.
Exactly alike. Now, they don't have the same talent. They can't sing the same. But when they speak, they sound kind of similar. This is Jermaine Jackson outside the courtroom. Justice, justice was served, yes. Actually, LaToya sounds more like Michael. Michael, Michael's with us. Michael's with us. No, he's actually not. Beat it. Past unfortunate. Yes, maybe tell him. This is LaToya Jackson. Thank you, America. Thank all the fans. Thank the prosecuting, Team Walgreen. You were great. Everybody was wonderful. I just want to thank you for really, Jane, I love you. And what would you say? Did she say, Jay, I love you? Yeah, of course. We got to save that. Yeah. Isolate. She does. Isolate. They're friends. Say to Michael if you could say something, didn't you? I'm going to say something. Michael loves everybody out here. I love him. We all love him. And guess what? He was in that courtroom, and that's why victory was served. It's not a phrase.
Victory was served. It's never been an adage. Like an all-American restaurant? Yes, victory. Yeah, like if you had a hamburger called Victory. No. Special hamburger. I think it was Justice. Justice was served. Justice was served, yeah. Victory was served. Beat it. Jay. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Can't tell the difference. Yeah. It's identical. Beat it. It didn't really work. These are some of the fans that were outside of the courtroom. We've been out here for so long. Linda J., she has been at every big verdict, and she said to me this morning, I was at OJ, I was at the Rodney King. Whoa. You're just a prize pig? You're just out there seeing if they're giving out lemonade? T-shirts? Yeah, that's my thing.
You know, some people collect stamps. Or some people work. Yeah, get a job. Some people have nine to fives. Yes, fair enough. Some people work. Right. My hobby is I'm called a trialist. And what I do is I go to famous trials. Right. Weird. Just hang out or? Yeah, I just like to beat them. Unfortunately, you know, I was not around for some of the other high profile cases, you know. Menendez brothers? No. No, I was thinking more of John Wilkes Booth. I would have wanted to be there. That was a big one. I would have wanted to be there, but unfortunately I wasn't alive at the time, so. I get a seat. We have a verdict. And she was number eight, and we had a verdict. I've been right there. You were there. You said you were going to give me the blow-by-blow. I said, you know what? When it started off, when we first came in, I sat down. Randy came in with his mom, and they were hugging, and it was a little song. What were they doing? They were hugging. I don't know what that is. It's hugging. Oh. Oh, I thought it meant here again. I thought they were throwing up. But as everybody crowded up, we was crowded like sardines in a can. Just enjoy. Just let it pour over you like sweet, sweet molasses. Like syrup. It was so cool, but it was almost like a wedding, you know. I'm sorry. It's like a wedding. That's what all big high-profile trials are like.
You have the reception, you have the cake, you have the cutting of the cake, you have the money dance. It's much like when one man pledges his love to a woman and she pledges her love. It's exactly up to another. And then they're joined together in matrimony. It was like a funeral, but when we sat in that courtroom, it was almost like a wedding. It was like a what? Funeral. Okay, yeah. People were anticipating a bride because people kept on looking to their left, looking to their left, and it was just nobody was taking a long time to come. But then all of a sudden, when everything got quiet... And then, you know, and Nate's caught. Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun. Prosecutor's like, why are you guys playing this? Yeah, what are you doing? Chances that that woman is a hell of a cook. Oh, yeah. A hell of a good cook. That's right. Yeah. She makes smothered chicken. And it's like nothing you've ever had. She's not afraid of butter. No. And she will sit you down. You'll go to her house. You're like, I just ate. I'm so hungry. Baby, you're going to eat. I'm going to give you a plate. And there is pie. There's many pies. Oh, yeah. Everything's made with bacon grease. Oh, yeah. Greased up. That's right. She's very irritated at the people that are against butter and, you know, margarine. There's no margarine? There's no margarine.
It was a loud noise for a second. And then I threw my tablet up, and they looked at me like somebody crazy, like I was going to lose my seat, you know. But anyway, I was just so happy. I was so elated. But I looked to my right, and I saw Miss Jackson, and I saw Randy hugging his mama. That brought tears to my eyes. Oh, I mean, I couldn't hold it because I know what it is to lose a child. I lost a child. And I know I just wanted to hug. That brought everything. That brought the room down. There is about 100 isolates in there, though. 100%. So what now? You just wait until the next big trial? I mean, I guess that's her deal. Save up your vacation time. Save up vacation time because you never know. She goes to her boss, I need two weeks off. He's like, listen, you can't keep taking time off for trials. I'm sorry, but Tom Selleck has been arrested for murder and I ain't not going to that trial. You understand? Tom Selleck, Magnum P.I. 100 points for Tom Selleck. You thinking I ain't going to go to Magnum P.I.? I'm going to the trial. You cannot. You can't keep going to these things. Listen to my ringtone. I love him. I am gone. I love him. I'm just hoping to see TC. TC might be there. Tell me what I ain't going to. I got a vacation. I'm going to use it. I'll quit this. You don't own me. You don't own me. You don't own me. I work for you. But you don't own me. Hey, you have beautiful hair. Trials are fun. It's fun. So there it is.
So Conrad Murray is guilty. Now all we're waiting for, I guess, would be the sentencing. Yep. And how long is he going to get and what is he going to get and all that stuff. Oh, that girl that says that Bieber got her pregnant, she talked yesterday. No. Oh, yeah. Oh, boy. She talked. And he says, man, he's like, yeah, when I get back from Europe, I'm doing a paternity test. Wow. And he says, after that paternity test comes out and says, I'm not the dad, I'm going to sue her. Wow. Wow. He needs money from her. No, just to clear his name. Just to clear his name. She probably doesn't have a nickel. No, but we'll see. We don't know. We've got to see what the test results say. He seems pretty sure. Yeah. Let your voice be heard on The Mikey Show now. Why don't you tell him the whole story? Time to wake up, sir. Call 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com.

It might seem hard to lead a healthy life today, but it's easy when you practice the ancient art of on-the-side-ism. Let's start with salad. Just have the ranch, the Roquefort, the Italian, or the Thousand Island on the side. Put the mayo on the side of your turkey sandwich. And leave the butter and sour cream as optional equipment on your baked potato. On the side-ism fears no sassy waitress, snooty chef, or emasculating comment from a friend. And it isn't just a way around the menu, it's a way of life. It's a towel. So go ahead, work those long hours at the office, but make sure to have some playing with the kids on the side. For every hour you're stuck in traffic, make sure you have a minute of bike riding on the side. Zone out in front of the TV, but go out dancing on the side. It's an easy ideal to practice, but at Kaiser Permanente, we think this mantra of moderation can have big-time results on the way you look, the way you feel, and the way you thrive. Visit kp.org.

I can't play guitar, but I can pretend like it. Oh, yeah. You're identical Lady Van Halen over there. Yep. We're going to be playing buzzword here in just a moment. Oh, good God. Really? Now, buzzword, every time, almost gives us a heart attack and sends us to the hospital. Almost. Every single time. Without exception. The way that it's played is we have to scream out the word. And then Jay will inevitably call on LOB and tell you that she's the winner. In fairness to Jay, Woods believes this about every game. Well, a lot of our M1s did reach out last week privately and say, Hey pal, you got hosed. Yeah, really? Some of your fans. That's right. A lot of them. I don't have any fans. They all like Jay and LOB. Because the lowest on the rung here.
Nice try, Woods. Aren't I? 570-1949. I don't have a flock. What's the prize? Today's prize is a $20 gift card to Dave and Buster's in Mission Valley. The perfect place for any holiday party. Dave and Buster's. $20 gift card to Dave and Buster's. There you go. And you can use it like when Woods is out there or L.O.B. is out there or whatever. And so call us right now. You're going to pick me, Woods, or L.O.B. I'm not very good. But sometimes something happens and I'm all fired up and it works. It's almost like Jay will make something worth six points and then you'll win. Right. That happened yesterday. That happens a lot. It happened yesterday. L.O.B. was stoked about it. She was none too pleased. She was... killing it. We should just change all the name of our games to let's screw the guy that's in the lead. Or the woman that's in the lead. The person in the lead. Let's screw them. Alright. This was Mariah Yader. She's the woman that is accusing Justin Bieber of being the father of her baby. And she spoke out to the insider.
It was a night. My mother and I, she went and got tickets and we drove up to L.A. And we were up in the front. You know, the concert was coming to an ease. And a security guard came and approached me and said, hey, we're looking for cute young girls, you know, to come backstage VIP and meet him. And I told my mom she didn't go back there with me. And as soon as I stepped in, it was... Say what? Nice parenting. Yeah. See you later. Hey. Get laid. He immediately took a liking to me. And we just got to talking and, you know, it was kind of me and him with other people elsewhere. And then he eventually asked me, he said, would you mind if we can go somewhere and be alone? And I said, all right, that's fine. We went on the walk. You said, OK, that's fine. Well, listen, if it's true, if it's true. It's hard to hear her be a victim about it. In fact, he's the victim. I don't think she's claiming being victimized. It's the sound. Don't you think it kind of sounds like, and then I was tricked? No, she's like, no. I said, it's okay. Yeah, let's go. I'm fine. I think that they're trying to be like, this really did happen. Yeah, for sure. And here's how it went down. To wherever this destination was, he was telling me that he would like to make love to me.
Really? Yeah, girl. I would like to make love to you. I wants to make love to you so bad. He would say that. Yeah, he would. Yo, girl, I saw this on a TV show called Dallas. I watched it on my bus, and it said, I want to make love to you. You are a clown. Except he says love because he's Canadian. I want to make love to you. You know, all sweet and cute and touchy. And then when we got to what turned out to be a bathroom, his whole demeanor changed. He went from wanting to make love to wanting to make love. Right. It went from cute and gushy, you know. Which I was willing to go with him because he was cute and gushy. Just more aggressive. Are you telling me that this doesn't sound like she's... That does. Please. This part definitely does. Yeah, definitely. And if what she's saying is true, then he's the victim, according to law. I think maybe the producers got a hold of her and they're like, and then... And then I'm sure he got aggressive, right? Yeah, I'm sure he was, like, getting nasty. Tell that part. And I want to **** you. Oh, boy. And this and that. So I told him to wear a condom. He said no, that it was his first time. So I went with it. Heat of the moment. And here we are today. Old first time bit. Yeah, yo, girl, it's my first time. You ain't got to worry.
I'm gonna write a song about that. You ain't gots to worry. I'm gonna write a song about you. I wrote a song called You Ain't Gots to Worry. You ain't gots to worry at all. You ain't gots to worry at all. Cause you ain't gots to worry at all. This is my first time. This is my first time. And I don't. I need to wear protection because I ain't never done this before. Michael Jackson. Yeah. Nice Bieber. Serious. What about the people that aren't going to believe you, though, Mariah? The proof is in the pudding. And everyone does it. Everyone does it. They jump, assume. Everyone has not made love to Justin Bieber. No, or wants to. Yeah, they have.
And come on, like, people don't talk out of their... She seems well-educated. Well-adjusted. I've provided evidence. What if? What if it comes back and says, what if? Son of a gun, what if? I'm 50-50 on it. Me too. 50-50. I bet they try to pay her off, and he's like, see, I told you. No, not after he's already said, I'm taking the test, and then I'm suing her. Yeah, I bet she backs out, and he's like, well, see, I showed you. See? Identical Bieber. Yeah, dog. I sold you. I sold you. I sold you. I sold you. Hey, listen, I sold you, and you didn't believe it. I didn't know she, and I didn't know I sold you. I'm not having any of that pudding, I'll tell you that much. That's right. What about other girls in the backstage and all that stuff? What about that? We spoke to someone who was there, and they said that, you know, like Justin said, that they go, they walked him from backstage. back to a room where his mother was, where there were other people. Ominous music. Was anyone around him? Mm-mm-mm. None of those people were around? No. He was by himself? Yes. Which I also find hard to believe. Yeah. Yo, moms, I need you to hit the bricks. I'm finna make love with this girl. Darling, I'm not going to leave. Yo, moms, I told you, get out the room! Her mom said yes.
Her mom let her go. Well, she doesn't need her mom to let her go. She's an adult. She's 20. I'm an adult. You're 16. I'm a strong black man. You're a white kid from Canada. What are you talking about? Black. And you have hair just like Kate from Kate Plus 8. In the room for a while with the other girls, did they react funny? When he clearly chose you over them, how did they react? Jealous, definitely. Dirty looks. Smirking. Of course, they're a little... Side chatter behind their hand. Could any of those other girls that were in that room substantiate this story? They could, but they won't. Well, how could they? They're not in the bathroom. They're not in there. You ain't got to worry. Punk! Ain't worried. You ain't got to worry. Justin? Yeah? You sound a lot like Michael Jackson. You sound identical Michael Jackson. I sound anything like him.
I don't sound one thing like him. Yes, you do. Nobody could be Michael. Well, right. So why would I try? I don't know why you're trying. You are just up in my face. You're right up in my face. I don't know why you're trying to do Michael Jackson. I'm not. You're identical. I was singing and you said to me. You're trying to sound like Michael Jackson. And I went, what are you even talking about? You're even talking like him now. You'd like to point the finger at me and call me a copier, but I ain't doing what you say. Oh, God. Definitely. I'll just run with that, I guess. You can print that. I'll print it. I was rolling on the rehearsal. All right, good. 5701949 is the number. And one. Ty's dad from Oceanside, who would you like to represent you in a game of buzzwords? Oh, God. L.O.B. Oh, boy. Go ahead. Weird. Good luck. Oh, L.O.B. is always going to win for me. I don't know. Unless it's yesterday. M1 grass grower from Mira Mesa. Who do you want? Chubb. Weird. My deal always comes in last. L.O.P. Chubb. Oh, boy.
And finally, M1 Mix from El Cajon, you've got me. That's right. Thank you. I don't know what he said. All right. The way the game is played, Jay's going to give us a word. After he gives us the word, he is going to give out some hints, some clues, and within those clues will be the word. We have to yell out the phrase as soon as we know it. And Chris is in the room, and he will make a judgment call as well. Okay? Because Woods always believes he's first. He always believes he's first. When you're first, you're first. All right, here we go. What's the word, Jay? The word is love. Yeah! L-O-V-E. All right, let's do it. Adolescent and... Young love! Puppy love! Here's the next one. Sealed with a kiss... Sealed in love! What's sealed? Sealed with a kiss and delivered via post. A love letter! Who got that one?
Dean is up very high on that mic. Yeah. You can get a little closer. This is, Mikey, you've got this one. I've got it. Extra weight around the waist. Love handles! Love handles! L-O-B. Mikey, you've got this one. Seriously, I can see him from here. All right. Oh, boy. All right. Declaration of affection. I love you! I know. I'm really bad at this one. Yes, isolate. I love you! I love you! That's going to be the greatest isolation ever. Yeah. Adam Sandler's... Love Actually! Romance movie. Love! Oh, gosh! No! Oh, riding the pony. Riding the pony. Dang it! You're on film, by the way. That's good film right there. They couldn't see behind you. Dang it. That's for sure. Oh, God. What's for sure? For sure. That's for sure. That's for sure.
It's for sure. Hey. That's for sure. Hey, that's for sure. Identical Italian. A tomato. Love vital. Love seed. Love seed. Love fruit. What'd you say, Mikey? Love tomato. No. Love fruit. Tomato. Tomato. A tomato. A lot. Love orange. Love a lot. Love seed. Love smash. To love apple. Is it. Do we have another word? No, there's a good one here. I hate love. I know you do. Baby born to unmarried parents. What was it? Love child. Never meant to be. Love child. I'm yelling out wedlock. Which doesn't have the word love in it. So hot. A great big trophy with handles. A love handle. A love bucket. A bucket of love.
Did he cuss? Did you cuss? No, I didn't cuss. I thought you did. I thought you did too. I didn't cuss. I said an S word, but I didn't say it. I thought you said it. No, I didn't say it. Run the tape. I didn't say it. Okay, okay. Curse. I'm a professional. Professional broadcaster. Love bucket. Love prize. Winner. Love trophy. Trophy of love. What is it? What is it? Loving cup. A loving cup. Okay, here's the next one. Hey, pick a worse word, please. Money can't. Buy you happiness, love. Can't buy you love. I think he said it first. I got it. Mikey said it first. I said it. You said it after he said it, you clown, king clown. Chris is pointing to me. Chris is pointing to me. I said can't buy you love. After he'd already said it, you just said it twice as loud. Wow, that is loud. Man. Clean is the new word. C-L-E-A-N. Clean. Clean. Admit the truth. Go clean! Oh, gosh. Bald, muscle-bound... Mr. Clean! Mikey? What's the freaking score? Mikey 2, Lauren 3, Woods 4. Oh, God. How many more questions do we want? Not many more. Not many more. Okay, we're going to do a couple of two-pointers here. Oh, boy. We're going to do three two-pointers. Make tidy. Clean up! Woods.
Use a proverbial broom. Clean house. Clean your side of the street. Clean your act. Clean up your act. Clean up your act. Clean yourself. Clean up your act. Clean the streets. Clean your clock. Clean your own streets. The proverbial broom. Sweep it up. Sweep up. Clean sweep. Make a clean sweep. L.O.B. Gosh darn it. What's the score? Mikey two, Lauren five, Wood six. Me and L.O.B. for the win. Two pointer right here. This is for all the macaroons. Start. Oh. Oh, God. Fresh start. Spring clean. Clean as a whistle. As in school each fall. Spring clean. L-O-B. Beat. She started before you did. Oh, yes. She did not. She did. Well, that's Chris. That's Chris. Look at her dance. Look at her dance. Look at her dance. She did not get me. I got post. Again. Look at her dance. Two weeks in a row. It's the greatest dance I've ever seen. Woods at times believes that. I nailed it. I got it. Again.
You threw something at the guitar. Woods, you're the best. That's such horse ass. Don't say it again. You've already cursed. I didn't curse. Yeah, you did. Professional broadcast. I didn't, I promise. Roll the tape. LLB, you know what happened when you were out of the room during the commercial break? What happened? Woods goes, you caught the very beginning of it, okay? Okay. Woods goes, where's my skull cap? Yes, I heard that. L.O.B. heard that before she left. He goes, where's my skullcap? And I'm quiet. I'm just staring at him. And L.O.B. kind of starts to laugh and she goes, where's my skullcap? And she walks out of the room and he goes, Jay! Yeah. Where's my, hey! Where's my skullcap? Yeah. And Jay's like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. He's like, do you like to clean up? Like, I like to clean up or I have to clean up. Oh, boy. Oh, I like to. So Woods opens up his backpack. This is my backpack. And there it is. Yeah. Found it. Here. Found it. I wish I knew how to do podcasts and run tape. I'm going to prove it. He reached in there and he pulled it right. That's where. Excuse me while I whip this out. It was right there in his backpack.
Wow. Where did you think it would be? He thought one of us stole it. No, I didn't think you stole it. I thought, you know, since Jay likes to clean house in here and pick tidy up. I love it. I thought he moved it somewhere. You do. You say that you don't, but you do. You're going to have to clear out that area for Dallas Greenwood. I'm not doing anything. I'll let frigging Mr. Clean do it. He already did. I already did once. Hey, don't forget to vote for the Mikey show on the R Factor. We'll put a link up there so you can vote. It's hot. I'm sweating. L-O-B, you brought it home. Yeah. You brought it home. M1, Ty's dad from Oceanside is the big winner. Are you there? Fake winner. Fair and square. Congratulations, fake winner. Fair and square. Ty's dad, are you there? Yeah, yeah. You are a winner. L-O-B did it. All right, L-O-B. You got it, buddy. And lunch. Such a horse. You are insane. Clean sweep. That was out of my mouth first. It was clean slate. Clean slate was out of my mouth. Oh, boy. I like Woods' thing. He waits until somebody else starts it, and then he screams it three times fast. Is that right? Yeah. Is that what I do? Exactly right. Is that what I do, Simon? It is. That's right. That's exactly what you do. Yesterday.
L.O.B. says that she went into a department store and was emotionally and seasonally terrorized. That's right. Is that true, L.O.B.? That is right. Why? What was the circumstance? They started playing Bing Crosby's I'll Be Home for Christmas. Already? Already. Already? Yeah. Come on. You could smell like pine needles. I love it. I love it. It's too early for L.O.B. Yes, it is. It's cold out. Come on. It's the holiday season. We haven't even had the bird yet, bro. There was decorations everywhere. I love it. I was bawling. You were so, you weren't mad. You were like. I was sad. You're sad. I was like, I will. I promise. I love it. I love this time of year. Gosh. Oh, man. I do too, but I want it to be day after Thanksgiving and then we start talking about Christmas. I'm good. I'm good now. You want it to start? Yeah, I've come around on Christmas the last couple years. I'm kind of more in. November 1st. But you've got to celebrate Thanksgiving first. Yeah, 11 on Thanksgiving, but Christmas is good. Look at her. She is an awesome chick. Her eyes at this very moment are filling up with tears.
I love the difference between men and women. It's fantastic. It is. Me too. We got to have that. If we didn't, we'd go absolutely nuts. Now, right now, as I look at L.O.B., thinking to myself, what a sweet, sensitive girl. Jay's looking at her, undressing her with his eyes. I love to see women cry. God, I love to see a woman cry. Oh, man. We should have a contest. I suggested a cry contest. I did. Mike, you wouldn't go for it. Make yourself cry. See, Mike? See him cry. Mike, what you're enjoying right now. I'm not enjoying it yet. No, yes, you are. Yeah, you are. You said how much you'd love it. You know you love to watch him cry. I do, too. I do.
You know, once a year I fly to Norway to a cry convention. It's so dirty. I don't tell Kim. I tell her I'm going to the desert. Yeah, she thinks I'm in Mojave. I'm in Dorsland. I got a necklace on. There's tears in there. It's just a tear. I collect them. It's in the shape of a teardrop. You see this ball? It's a vial. See the vial? It's a vial. This vial. It's a vial. You are monsters. It has in it moose tears. Is that Harry Connick? No, it isn't. Does it really matter? Does it matter who it is? Yeah, because it sounds so good. Oh, wow. It's Michael Buble. I prefer Bing Crosby. Now I don't like it. Now I don't like it. Now I don't like it. Now I don't like it. That is freaking good. It's great. It's not as good. No. That is the original. The original. Bing Crosby. Hello, dude. It's Bing Crosby. G-I-T. Boob. Come on. The boob. G-I-T yourself, my friend. Over the man. Oh, come on. Bing. The myth. Crosby. The legend. It's Bill Crosby's brother. Yeah. Both of them are fantastic. Guys, you've got to go back to 1932. The original Bing Crosby version of it. I'll be home for Christmas.
That's what I grew up with, not boob face. Yeah. I'll be home for Christmas, if only in my dreams. You think Bing would have been good with Akon? Probably. Two of them together in a duet. Real good. And now back to The Mikey Show with Mikey. I can't do anything. I can't do anything handy at all. Lauren. I wash my hands like a thousand times when I cook. Woods. I don't like to be tickled because I squeal like a little girl. And Jay. Hey, I like to skateboard. On FM 94.9. Hello, Mike. That's Woods. Hello, B. You mean Tattletale? Tattletale. It's on Facebook. Tattletale. Goose. Tattletale. Goose. What's a Tattletale? What's a Tattletale? Duck, Duck. Goose. SDG&E is getting sued by people because of that blackout that happened. Hello, baby. Hello, baby. Mostly it's from restaurants and stuff because their food's spoiled. And they lost a lot of dough because of it.
Two class action lawsuits been filed by the U.S. District Court seeking damages from SDG and E. Give me a break. Why? That's ridiculous. Is it? Yeah. Power's going to go out on occasion. It was neglect, though. It was their fault, though. It wasn't caused by forces outside of their control. They screwed up. The guy made a mistake, so let's hold the entire company. You have one employee. That's what a lawsuit is. And the deal is they don't know. They still don't know officially what caused it. They don't. And if it was one guy, here's the argument of all of us, and I agree with it. We pay a lot of money for power. We pay a lot of money for power. So shouldn't you guys have some kind of backup plan in case? Just in case, you know. I think it's going to. I think it's. It absolutely could happen at any time. It shouldn't. You should be prepared. But it didn't. It doesn't happen at any time. It happened when this guy allegedly screwed up. They came out and said it wasn't just one guy's fault. They should pay for my spoiled food. Oh, everybody's in, yeah. Woodsy, what's going on at sports? I'm going to tell you about Monday Night Football last night, but first I want to tell you that sports is brought to us today by Dave and Buster's. Eat, drink, play football.
The dream team played last night, Mike. The Philadelphia Eagles. The self-appointed dream team with Mike Vick and Jeremy Macklin and all those cats. One backup guy. They couldn't get it done against the Chicago Bears. They lose 30-24. The Bears played very sloppily. Is that a word? Or very sloppy. And they just couldn't get the job done. The Bears actually were able to get the job done despite their mistakes. And Michael Vick threw a pass on 4th and 10 to Jeremy Macklin, who slipped before. Before he could reach the first down marker and the Eagles lose 30-24. I'm sorry, LLB. Wow, wow, wow. Heartbreaker. Yeah. And then also good news for Charger fans. The blackout has been lifted for Thursday's game against the Raiders. And you can see that game on Channel 5. There you go. Enjoy. So the restaurant that banned kids. There was a restaurant that banned kids. And a lot of people were outraged by it. I, on the other hand, do not have any problem with it. And the reason I don't have problems is I go, just don't go there. Go somewhere else. I'll go somewhere else. You don't want my kid? All right, fine. Go somewhere else. And by the way, there is laws in place that say that you cannot ban somebody because of their race or sexual orientation, stuff like that. But there is no laws about banning kids. So anyway, this business did it.
It's in Pennsylvania, Monroeville, Pennsylvania, and they were carrying this big time on the news out there. Well, the news wanted to find out four months later, so how's business? It's booming. In fact, they've had a 20% increase in business ever since they started banning kids. That's no joke, 20%. 20%'s no joke. Could just be the fact that they were in the news, too. Yeah. Yeah, they were in the news advertising the fact that if you come here... You're not going to hear screaming children. I've got screaming children. I understand if people go, I don't want to hear your screaming child. I get that. There's nothing to me that's wrong about it at all. Woods is like, I think it's pretty lame. But, you know, like, you know, anything that the only places kids shouldn't be allowed are, you know, bars and strip clubs. Really? Yeah. I mean, I should be, Mike, okay, they ban kids, what, seven and under or six and under? Yeah. I can take my six-year-old there. I can't take my seven-year-old. I can't take my six-year-old there, but I can take my seven-year-old there. Yeah. You can drink at 18. You can't at 17. Or you can vote at 18. You can't at 17. There's laws. Same thing. That's not a law. You can't at 20. That's not a law. The voting? No, that. Oh, he's right. That's not a law. It isn't a law. Well, 13 and under for the kid's meal. 14 and over.
In some cases, you get the adult menu. It's a good thing that kids have IDs so you can know exactly how old they are. It's true. Well, no, they're probably not going to enforce it. Oh, yes, they are going to enforce it. If there's a four-year-old in there, they'll probably boot him. Yeah. There's no kids here. I'm sorry. I think that the deal is that if you have a kid, I don't think you're going to test. You just go. Yeah, you don't go there. I mean, are they serving mashed potatoes in the shape of big boobs or something? Like, why can't kids go there? No, it's a place to go and have some peace and quiet. Peace. Even parents with little kids, I'm sure, frequent that place. Yes. Hey, I would be okay with childless flights. Being able to choose a flight from San Diego to New York that's adults only. I would love that ability. And I'm saying that with kids. Listen, man. I've been on a plane before with my own kids when they're flipping out. I feel bad for people. Of course. I want to say to all of them. I want to go.
You guys, you picked the wrong flight. I'm sorry. Put your headphones on. You'll be all right. Oh, boy. So what an inconvenience, though. The only flight that's available is a kidless flight. You've got to get there. Yeah, I mean, then you do it. That's an inconvenience? You take a kidless flight? Oh, boy. I'm going to get some sleep. That sucks. No, I'm talking about for the guy with kids. He's like, all the flights are booked up, sir. I'm sorry. You have kids. This is a kidless flight. Yeah. Too bad. SOL? You could have acted earlier. I did. I tried it really early. But there's plenty of times that I'm SOL because all the flights are booked. Aren't we? But there's a flight going out. It's only half full. Sorry. Oh, okay. No kids allowed. Wow. Hey, listen. Boy. It's your fault. You should have booked early. My grandfather died. I didn't know he was going to die. Oh, you got me with that. My mother passed away. I've got to go. Special circumstances. Oh, now I can. Then I want to book a flight that's only skinny people. Because I don't want the big fat guy coming over my chair. That's fair enough. Skinny people flights only. Fair enough. Where does it end? No. Where does it end? It's an inconvenience for me. It ends with fat people. The little kids can't help that they're little kids. Right. And it hurts their ears? Just take a right listen. Put headphones on. Yeah. Wait, wait, wait. See, the childless flight is the special flight. It's more expensive. It's more expensive.
I'd pay more not to have to sit with somebody sitting in the chair with me. Absolutely. Okay, fine. So let's say that... It's called first class. I want an ugly flight ban. I want only good-looking people on my flight ban. And I'll pay more. Subjective. I'll pay more. That's not subjective. Yeah, it is. Well, there's nothing that they can do about being young kids. And they got to get to Minneapolis. Yes, there is. They got to get to Minneapolis for grandmother's funeral. Yeah, there is. You know what they could do? What? Get older? You get older. And when they're older... See... The childless flight would be a special flight. Yeah. It's a special flight. Yeah. Why do you just wear headphones? Noise canceling headphones. You got 15 pairs of headphones. Because I don't have a pair of headphones or there's something wrong with my ears or whatever. Well, then you can buy them. By the way, all of you would love childless flight. Kids don't bother me. Kids don't bother me at all. Not me. I love kids. I love kids. They don't bother me either, but why not let people pay more to have one? Well, I don't want fat women on my flights. You know what I love? I love this. Did he? You pick him up. Did he? Oh, he did. Oh, no. Woods is the same way. You can fly with Woods and he's farting it up real good on there. I complain about that, too. And Jay. Yeah, so a fart-free flight now, too. Why do you guys care if there's childless flights? I like kids. And I love kids. It's because I think it's not fair. How is it not fair? Because they're not letting me fly with my kids. But the flight wasn't going to exist anyway. Why not just wear headphones? It's a new airline.
You know what you can't do? What? It's called F Kids. You can't skinny somebody down to sit next to you. They shouldn't be able to come over into my seat. I mean, at least I can put headphones on and cancel the kid out crying. But the big sweaty guy that's all in your chair. Well, they have, dude. They've said that they did it to Kevin Smith. Yeah, they did. They did it to Kevin Smith. I'm telling you, I've been on flights where I've had a big guy coming over in my chair the last two times I've flown. I had one this last time. There was a girl that sat on the, it was on Saturday. Had a girl sit in the aisle. I sat on the window. And I was like, please let it stay this way. Please let it stay this way. Please let it stay this way. Excuse me. Is that seat taken? And she goes, no. And he wedged himself right between the two of us. Big fella? Oh, yeah. His bicep was pressing me up against the side of the aircraft. I hate that. Yeah, you can't move. You're squeezed. I mean, as it is, it's a taxi. With wings on it. Yeah, for sure. It's a taxi with wings on it. It should have a scale by the front door. Well, see, I... I don't really feel that way, I'm saying. I mean, it's the same bit. Oh, yeah, yeah. I feel differently than Jay does. But what if there was an airline for skinny people? You know you're not going to have to sit next to somebody that's squeezed in. I'm in between, so... M1 Dave from San Diego, are you there? I'm here. What would you pay extra for to ban kids from?
a movie. Me too. I would prefer to go to a movie theater or at least that particular showing guarantees me that no one under 21 or 18 is going to be there. They have them. They're called 9, 30, 10 o'clock movies. Go to those. There's no kids there. I've been to the later show where people bring their little kids and think it's cute or saving on babysitting or whatever it is. It pisses me off. Yeah. It's like the parents that take their kids to paranormal activity because they want to see it. Yeah, that is wrong. They want to see it, so, you know. And the other thing that I can't stand is on a Friday or Saturday night, Woods, absolutely there's teenagers there late. Teenagers? Yeah. Yeah, teenagers. Don't want them.
Oh, so no teenagers? No. I'm talking young kids. I'd pay for it. I would pay more and not have teenagers than that. Oh, yeah, dude. Oh, my God. You guys are monsters. I'd pick the showing, and I'm going to have teenagers. I was a teenager. Yeah. You know what I was? I was a freaking pain in the butt. Yeah, me too. You know when you're old? When you want to go to a teenager-less movie. Yeah. Oh, my goodness. You do, too. I would happily do it. I would not care. Yeah, you do. I had my viewing experience ruined by teenagers talking the whole time. I've also had it ruined by 40-year-old women on their cell phones. What are the odds? What are the odds? Pretty good these days. Some dummy on his cell phone is pretty good. But you can go and tell someone that they're breaking, you can tell an usher that they're breaking the rules. The good theaters that are doing it, they're having people, they have ushers come in and check periodically. I guess I'll have to just keep trial and error with that. M1 Escondido from Escondido. What would you pay extra for? I would pay extra for an all-nude flight. I am 100% in. You get behind that. It doesn't matter. Nude. Filthy. If they're fat, skinny, I don't care. I want an all-nude flight. You want to see the whole thing. Heck yeah. You're a sex pervert. You're a sex pervert. Those seats would be filthy. Yeah. You imagine getting in those seats? Skid marks. We need to go out to lunch. We need to hang out, Escondido. Yeah. They'd have to have a hazmat. Yeah.
Team come in after every play. People don't look good sitting down naked. Yeah, that's what makes it fun. All nude. All nude. Let me tell you. I mean, like... Scarlett Johansson doesn't look good nude. No, not sitting down. There's stuff like hanging and bunched up. Everyone looks like the Michelin man. Jay looks like the Michelin man sitting in an airplane. Jay just salt and peppered up. Laying back in his chair. I do a lot of walking around, talking to people. This seat ain't taken. Oh my gosh. Sit, girl. Go ahead. There's actually fewer things filthier than that. Oh, that is fantastic. Here's Jay. What brings you to Denver? And then Jay gets stuck next to the big guy whose belly folds over onto him. Eating an onion sandwich real good. Jay's like, hey, that's my forearm. Yeah.
Sure. Is that your belly? What is that? I'm not quite sure what that is. I'm not either. 570-1949 is the number if you want to give us a call and weigh in on that one. They're liars, by the way. I know it. I don't know why you guys hate kids. We almost adopted a kid and it fell through. So any chance I can get to be around kids, I'm in. Crying, pooing, peeing, whatever. I'm in. I just want to feel it. I want to know, Mike. I want to connect with you and be able to say, yeah, dude, I know what it's like when my kids cry. But I don't. No way, Jose. I don't get it. Oh, boy. You know? Lauren, you're unmarried. Yeah. No kids. So aren't you sympathetic? No, I want kids. And in fact, I spend a lot of time with my niece, who is a year and a half. Right. But there is a time and place, even when I have my own kids. Reality hits you hard, bro. Reality does hit you hard. I will not bring them to places where I think, oh, that could be a distraction. Like airplanes. So God forbid you take them home. Yeah, you want to fly home. No, there's plenty of flights. I'm not going to hold it against the airline that wants to have adult-only flights.
Man. Porno flights. Yeah. Yeah, they probably will. Okay. Tell me about this one. You can weigh in on this one. Liars. Yeah, they are. No, we're not. No, we're not. We're not. If you had a choice, you'd pick a childless flight, restaurant, and theater. And everyone listening, too. I love kids. I love seeing kids. I love hanging out with kids. Me, too. As much as I can. Coaching kids. That sounds like a challenge, by the way. Oh, yes, it does. That sounds like some sort of challenge. Bring it. Bring it. Yeah. Yeah. We can probably get some sort of soundtrack of crying babies. And just sit them in a room. Done. We can simulate snot being thrown at you. Spaghetti. I would love it. Gosh, what that would feel like. Diaper. What that would feel like. Hey, Mikey, I thought I would get your take on this one. My kid is playing Little League this year for the first time. He's 10. I've made it clear that I have no desire to coach as I know nothing about baseball. But by signing him up, do I have to go to every practice and game?
until the season is over, that someone loop. Well, I've never even heard of the go-to-every-practice guy, but what I do know is that you're supposed to go to every game. You're supposed to. Isn't that right, Woods? Yeah. I have a question for you. For sure. I have a question. Especially a dad. Can I ask you this? Yeah, fire away. What if your kid is not a starter? You need to go. Yeah, you do. You do. Yeah, you really do. Oh, dude. Absolutely. I'll tell you what. There was a kid on my team last year, didn't get a hit all year. Not all year. And then second to the last game, kid comes up, it's a game-winning triple. Guess who missed it? His dad missed it. Hit a game-winning triple, dude. And it was one of the greatest moments I'd ever seen. What about football? High school football? Oh, dude, get your butt to that game. Get your butt to that game. What are you going to do? He's not started all. He's sitting on a bench.
And you're there? You're there. Are you guys just assuming his parents are unemployed? How do you make every game? I don't know. I guess I can't. I guess I can't assume that because our games were Wednesday nights and then on the weekends. And I guess if you can make it, you should. Make what you can, I say. I mean, you have to work, but if you're just staying at home. Yeah, if you're sitting at home watching TV. But some people have work. Well, it doesn't sound like he didn't say, hey, I've got a super hectic work schedule. He's asking, do I have to go to every game? Not every practice. No, you don't have to go to every practice. I always go when Jasper played baseball, which I can't despise. I went to every single game. You got to. And I went to every single practice. I even helped out. Well, and I think that that's admirable, that you went to every practice and you went to every game. Every practice? What were you doing at practice? I was helping. If they needed practice, like they need somebody to stand behind the catcher or, you know, just help.
You know, shag balls. Maybe at that age. But I think after a certain age, you're just kind of encroaching. Yeah. High school, the practice dad at high school, they don't like. Yeah. They don't like practice dad. Woods. Yes. You don't expect dads to go to every practice, right? No, I don't want them to. You don't want them. I don't want them there because my deal is, hey, I signed up to be the coach. I'm putting in probably 20 hours a week with this deal. It's my deal. It's my show. I don't need your input. Unless you're a coach. You make cooks in the kitchen. A lot of cooks in the kitchen. Mikey Show, are you calling about this thing with the coaches and should you make every game and all that? The Childless Movie Theater. Okay. Well, we weren't screening phone calls, but I'll take your call on that. What do you think about the Childless Movie Theater? A 21 and a half Childless Movie Theater in Farmall Valley. Yeah. It's that nice place where you can eat in your seats. I thought that was in Del Mar. It is. It's in Carmel Valley. Is that the same thing? Yeah, it's Carmel Valley. It is? Yeah, Carmel Valley is a little area in Del Mar. Well, wait. I was at a movie there and it wasn't 21 and up because there's different theaters.
So it's really not 21 and up. Wait, wait, wait. Woods, did you go to Sinopolis? I went to the one in Del Mar. Yeah. The one where they serve food at your seat? Yes, and you can get martinis. You can get all kinds of stuff. It wasn't 21 and up? No. Waverly was there, Sienna's sister. She's 16 years old. You took her, right? I didn't take her. You guys went to see a movie. You got her a fake ID? You got her a fake ID? Just to get her in the movie with you? I meant to get Sienna on the phone because they're not going to be happy. Sienna was there, as was her mother and Seth. Didn't you guys go to that in Arizona? Didn't you, in fact, frequent at 21 and up? Well, he flew out there with Waverly. No, I didn't. My wife was with me. Just for a weekend. I wasn't there. You were there. Oh, no. It was just Woods and Waverly. Yeah, that's weird. Wow. Thank you for the call. I knew you were a liar. So it's really not. Oh, you have two different options. So you can go 21 and up or not. There's some theaters in this whatever it's called. Yeah, they're called peep shows. Those are 21 and up. They're in that Sinopolis or whatever it's called. When we come back, we'll do Are They Real or Fake? It's L.O.B. And you're going to hear some things about L.O.B., this darling blonde blue-eyed girl to my right. She's going to tell us some facts about herself, and we have to decide, are they real or fake? What's next?

I'm Stacey Cohen, FM 94.9. It's time for the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. Bird Surfshed with the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report for a Tuesday morning. Brought to you, of course, by Guayaquil Urbamate. Today we're looking at some smaller surf as a combination of both west, northwest, southwest wells dwindles off a bit. Still fairly clean, though, but battling that mega high tide this morning. Five foot plus high tide right around seven, so that has backed off quite a few spots.
You'll find surf running in that need a wayside zone on average, maybe a few chest ice set ways with that rare plus on top of that at areas most open to the swell combination. Look for the beach breaks to be pretty much your only hope for a go out this morning is that high tide is really backed off the reefs. Beautiful morning out there, though, and a little bit of waves to be had. For up to the minute surf reports forecast, go to surfline.com and for your surfboard repair or restoration needs, go see my pal Joe Roper right down on Marina Boulevard and ask for the bird deal. The Authentic Surf Report can only be heard three times daily right here on FM 94.9. This has been the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. How I hate to get up in the morning. And now back to the Mikey Show. Oh, yeah. Mikey. I'm in love with Woods. Yes, that's it. Woods. I'm so lonely. Lauren. I'm a lyricist. And Jay. Hey, I like the skateboard. On FM 94.9. You were just having the biggest debate. And I understand it. Hey, listen. You're going to haul all your equipment into an arena and you're going to start playing. LOB believes you subject yourself. Now, here's what I'm talking about. Woods, tell everybody what your wife Jamie said last night. It was this weekend. She walked in the room and I was watching football. And she goes, hey, babe, do you know who I feel really bad for? And I go, who? And she goes, Nickelback. And I looked at her and I go, why?
And she goes, because think about it, dear. You know, Nickelback was supposed to play Thanksgiving Day. And some guy started a petition in Detroit to get them not to play. Like, these guys suck. They're douches. Nobody even likes them. Sign this petition and get them out of there. And we talked about it on the air last week. And I was like, yeah, they do suck. They're terrible. Jamie goes, I really feel bad for them. And she goes, dear, imagine that was you. And that was your band. And they asked you to play Thanksgiving. You're stoked. And then you find out some guy started petitioning. People are like, yeah, making fun. I go, you just put me in my coffin. You just put me in my. I felt bad. She was like genuinely upset for them. Now, do I believe that Chad Kroger sounds like he's going doo-doo when he sings? Yes. Do I think that he may be, you know, king douche? A douche nozzle. Perhaps. Yes. I still think that. He is a person that has blood rushing through his veins. Cry me a river. Oh, she's a hard ass. Cry me a river. She is a hard ass. Come on. Come on, L.O.B. How many people signed that petition? I don't know, but wouldn't it? It's humiliating. It would hurt that people are just like, you suck. Oh, gosh. You guys are naive if you don't think there's plenty of people out there that think you suck. We do. Oh, we know it. Hey.
And didn't it hurt when we came to FM 94.9 and people were like, you're a piece of F. Well, they didn't say that. Piece of F doesn't make sense, but piece of S does. When someone said they wanted me to die in a drunk driving accident, that hurt. Imagine if they were like, well, they did. They did. They literally did on Facebook. And the show went on. Yeah. Did I cry about it? I was upset. It sucked. It sucked. And I didn't cry. I didn't cry about it. But I will say this. I will say this. That wasn't worldwide known and people are talking about it and laughing at you. You know how many people are in the world? They had a couple hundred or maybe even a couple thousand people not want to see their show. Who cares? They've got plenty of people that do. It doesn't matter. Let's say there were seven signatures on the petition. The fact that there was a petition and the fact that it made... national news is humiliating. And Woodsy, he got me. He goes, what if it was your boyfriend? Yeah, your boyfriend's a musician. It sucks. I would say, babe, they're a bunch of idiots. Justin Bieber right now is the hottest thing going. You could get plenty of people to sign a petition. You can't take it the wrong way. I'll tell you why it's different. It's different because Justin Bieber and every pop star at Infinium has had that rap. There's always people that are like,
rolling their eyes at a pop artist, you know? But a rock band, you know? Cheesy rock band, whatever. Cheesy rock band, whatever. Millions of dollars. See, the money doesn't do anything. Money? Who cares? They had their shot and they're still selling out arenas. So who cares if one city doesn't want them or one small group of people in a city? Then don't play it. I would care. I'd be like, I don't play it. I'll go play it where people want to see me. M1 Daniel from Oceanside. What was the word of the day? Equipment. Bam. Maybe it's a male-female pride thing. That's correct. You're going to Mammoth Mountain, bro. Going to see Black Lips and Rob Rob Riot up there, get some Lyft tickets, and you're going on the 12th, all right? Bam. Awesome. Love you guys. Thank you. Love you. Little angel. Say that again, LLB? I said maybe it's a male-female pride thing. I would think, hey, screw you guys. I'll go somewhere. I mean, with the petition that was coming out, I was like, hey. Guess what? It's naive if I think everyone is going to like our show, but I will cater to the people that do. Yeah, maybe it is a guy-girl thing. Because it would hurt me. Oh, it would kill me. If I was a musician and that was my, finger quotes, art, and that's what I did for a living, it hurts me when people don't like us. I take it personally. Yeah, you do. But we're not Nickelback. You know what I mean?
If they asked us to perform at the Super Bowl or Thanksgiving Day and people did a petition, yeah, it'd mess with me. There are millions of people that bought their crappy records. Who cares if there's a couple hundred people that sign a petition? Well, because, you know, what got me was, I put myself in that long, stringy hair of Chad Kroger and I thought, that would really, like, I'm looking, I turn on ESPN and they're like, and Nickelback probably won't be playing, and you're like, Jesus, dude, I just want to jam, man. And how about this part of it? You guys aren't cut out for show business, though. How dare you? How about this one, L.A.B.? How about this one? You're Chad Kroger's sister, and everybody is like, oh, man, I heard about your brother. And you're like, yeah, yeah, mm-hmm. I would say... Yeah, it's a stupid, it's a radical group of people that think they're funny. It's just mean, man. It's just mean over and over and over. I think it's funny. Over and over and over. I don't protest stuff, dude. If I don't like it, I don't listen. If I don't want to see it, I don't watch it. If I don't want to read it, I don't read it. But I'm not going to do a petition. This is where you could think that the people of Detroit are coming from. It's Motown.
And you're going to bring in Canadians? There's plenty. You got Eminem. You got plenty of musicians right from in town. Why are we having Canadians come play our game? Yeah. Yeah. It's American Football League. Yeah. I just think it's mean. Me too. I don't. It hurt my feelings. It hurt me. I felt bad for them. Cry me a million dollar river. Giant million dollar tears. Man. Millionaires. They have feelings, too. Yeah, but who cares? There's plenty of people. It's not like everybody hates them. Kind of, though. How embarrassing. Okay, how embarrassing. My program director would not play their music because she thought they were douching us. Right. Now, granted, in her defense, they're douching us. But you know what's embarrassing is this. Hey, come play Thanksgiving for us. And then this humiliation, they have to be like, well, do we do it? Do we not? Like, that's embarrassing. Oh, Cadillac problems. Oh, crap. Cadillac problems. There's plenty of people that love them, and they've got the shot of a lifetime with what they're doing. They're living the dream. Don't feel bad for them. They do. I kind of like this song now. What is that thing on Joey's head? Kim's the first girl I kissed.
You wouldn't get petitioned if you didn't write lyrics like that. You're so mean. Record while you're sitting on the toilet. He is fanged. Fanged monster. Oh, please. There's blood on the tip. You have plenty to say about Nickelback. You have plenty to say about Nickelback. But you know what? I just wouldn't go see him. I wouldn't start a petition. I wouldn't start a petition. But you'd sign it. No. I would not. I don't care enough about Nickelback to put that much effort into it. How many songs are they going to play anyway? A couple. Enough to ruin everyone's day. Really? Go get a beer. Go get a $5. Terrible music. Put someone good in there. My brother, Steve, loves him. He might have a picture in his house. Hey, I'm sorry. I think this is a good song. You know what? Plenty of people don't like classical music. Plenty of people don't like it. It's not their cup of tea. They don't have classical people play Thanksgiving at the NFL. So, okay. If they had Yo-Yo Ma up there, people would probably protest too. How many people didn't want the Black Eyed Peas to play the Super Bowl? Me. As many people that wanted them to. Yeah. You got to take the good with the bad and suck it up. They got a reputation of people making fun of them. Well, maybe they should take a hint and go retire. She is a harsh mistress. They are terrible. She is that nun in school that would take the ruler right to your knuckles. Hang it up.
M1J from Fallbrook. Hey, Mikey. How's it going? Good. You know what? People don't like them. They don't like them. That's it. They're trying to make a buck. I mean, it's probably some resentment from some dude that created a gossip over the internet and people started hating him. People don't want to listen to them. They just turn off the radio. Right. I mean, come on. Yeah, that's what we're saying. Yeah, but he's with LLB on this one. But the petition is mean. Comparatively to how many fans they have and how many people that sign that thing, you just have to laugh at it. I mean, come on. That's hard to laugh at. Who are these yahoos that are starting? If we had a bunch of people do that, you'd be like, who are these yahoos? There's 30 people on here as opposed to the thousands of people we have listening. Yeah. I mean, maybe they're used to it. It could be. It could be that they're used to it. Hey, listen. I saw. It's on YouTube. There's a video of them playing in, like, Argentina. They are booed off the stage. You're kidding. Yeah, dude. Do you guys want me to continue playing or not? You saw it, right? And then he gets hit in the head with something. You're kidding. Yeah. And he goes. Yeah. The double bird. Very classy. Yeah. Oh, boy. Why would people go to the concert then? Right. Well, it wasn't just them. It was like a festival concert where there was a few bands playing. And when they got up to play. Hey, I saw that happen to Alice in Chains. That's shocking. It happened to the best of them.
I'm sure the Beatles, not everybody loved the Beatles. I bet they didn't get booed off stage. No, I bet not. How about this one? If they played like a retirement center, they probably would have. FM 94.9, Christmas show. Holiday Hoot Nanny. How you guys doing? My name is Mikey and I... That felt good, didn't it? One drunk guy. Did you laugh that off? Were you able to just laugh that off? One drunk guy. No, it wasn't. Well, it was one drunk guy times 17,000. No, it was not. You crazy. That felt good, huh? It made me – I was more pissed off than I've ever been. You know what I did? I wanted to beat the crap out of everyone. You know what I did? You put your hand over your heart. You tab it. You go, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. That is touching. I love this. You can't put stock in those people. Come on. It's easier said than done. Don't let them win. Please. Easier said than done. You've got to touch them up. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you. Imagine Lauren. Hey. Thank you so much, ladies and gentlemen. Hey, everybody. This is Craig Gass. I want to introduce our next comedian, Lauren O'Brien. I wouldn't go on.
if people booed me before I got out there. No, you walk on stage and they boo you. If that was what would happen, I'd be like, alright guys, I'll bring on the next comic. I would be in a hole. Don't perform to an audience that doesn't want to see you. I would be in a hole. Huh? But you've been paid to perform. Well, cry me around. Who are you? No, now you have to get the money back and they're going to sue you because you didn't fulfill your contract. Oh my goodness. That's exactly what happens. Oh, I would hate it. You just cost the venue. They rented a $170,000 stage and sound system. For what they're making, they can go sit there. It's not about the money. But Jay's trying to say, oh, they're going to get sued and now they lose money. You're saying you go out there and... Okay, well, I'm one person making nothing doing stand-up. If I had a team of people and I was getting paid a million dollars to play, I could suck it up. You're a hard ass. She is. She's a tough girl. All right, let's play. Are they real or fake? Now, this is facts about our girl, L.O.B., and we have to decide whether or not these facts are real or fake. I'm usually good at this, but last week, I was terrible. 570-1949. Call us right now. Pick me, Woods, or Jay. Who's going to get it right? Who's going to know the most about her? These are facts about that young woman sitting right there.
wearing a t-shirt that says Nickelback on it with a circle and a line through it. I will proudly wear that t-shirt. There's Chad Kroger hanging in effigy. That's right. Right now, on the back of her car, no joke, is one of those cartoons whizzing on Chad Kroger. Which is weird. It's Calvin. It's Calvin. No, that would mean I spent enough money to draw attention to Nickelback. It's Calvin peeing on Nickelback. No, it's a picture. Actually, it's a picture of me peeing. It's an actual cartoon. It's a cartoon of. It's funny. It's not even a cartoon. It's a real picture. It's a real picture. I met him. He was passed out. It's actually a Polaroid that she's duct taped to the back of her. M1 Herald from San Marcos. Who are you going to pick? Because you're my buddy. There you go. There you go, dude. Hang on the line. That's sweet. M1, Rebecca from Kearney Mesa. Who do you want? I'll go with Woodsy. There you go. Hang on the line. And M1, Curtin from San Diego. You, my friend, have J. Lucky. All right, all right. Hang on the line. All right, let's do... Are they real or fake? These are facts about Lauren. Go ahead. Okay.
I once wrote a love letter to Chad Kroger. Oh, boy. I dare you. I dare you. Too soon. Too soon. Too soon. Too soon. Okay. My first French kiss happened in the closet. First French kiss happened in the closet. I am going to say no. I'm going to say that is fake. Jay, I am going to say yes. Well, you should say it's real. Yeah, real. Real. I'm agreeing with it. I'm going to say fast. It is real. It's real. It is fake. Ella B? It is real. Oh, my gosh. Dirty bird. Were you playing Seven Minutes in Heaven? Hang on, though. It's a true story. I've never heard her. I thought she said she was 17 when she had her first boyfriend. Yeah.
Well, you can French people. Maybe she couldn't do it very well. She tried to do it like she saw him do it in the movies. That's right. What was the deal? We were playing Spin the Bottle in Chrissy Engel's basement. Her mom came down once and broke it up. What are you kids doing down there? How do you break it up and think they're going to stop? Give me that bottle right now, Chrissy. I'm sure now you're going to play Monopoly. We were sitting in a circle and the guy that I ended up kissing, Scott Farrell, He sat on the ginger ale bottle. It's pronounced for all. He sat on the ginger ale bottle and was like, hi. And we were all just sitting in a circle with no game or anything like that. Nude. They were all nudes. Smoking weed. Passing a journal. You all put clothes on and give me that bottle. Give me that ginger ale bottle. Give me the ginger ale. Wait a minute. So who spun, you or him? He did. And it landed on you. Now, question, question. There's a way to spin a bottle if you want it to land on the person you want where you're like... Yeah, you can jimmy it a little. Did he jimmy it or did he genuinely give a... He spun it and I was... Okay, we did it so if you got the person twice, first you had to kiss...
Like, just kiss in front of everyone, kiss in the middle. Right. And then if you got it the third time, you had to go French in the closet. Yeah. Two minutes in heaven. We played seven. I don't think, because I wasn't known for doing anything, so I don't think he was particularly stoked that I was the girl. Because there's probably other girls there. He's like, probably the old Cop of Fields. She has boobs. Were there girls that were there that probably had experience? Yes. Yes. Oh, yeah. So, L.O.B., this was your first. Did you tell him? I've never done this. No. No. Hell no. He knew right away because he said you're not supposed to move your jaw like they do in the movies. He's told this story before. But I didn't know it was in a closet. It was in a closet. It was in a cedar closet. Arr. Arr. Arr. Arr. Arr. You know how humiliating that is? It's pretty rough. Just guys just laying down the law in the closet. Idiot. How many times do you think Mikey was a home alone with a bottle just practicing spin it where he'd stop at a certain spot? Isolate the whole thing. The whole thing. That whole thing. That whole thing.
He had that and he wanted to get it out so good. He wrote it last night. He wrote it when he first met you. He wanted to get that out so bad. He was so excited. He has a file on his computer called Spin the Bottle. This one's a little racy. Uh-oh. Racist? Racy. When I was in college, I danced for my boyfriend, wearing only a Santa hat and bows to All I Want for Christmas is You. That is fake. There is no way that that girl sitting right there had the rocks. Well, wait a minute.
College, she said. Yep, Woods is doing the proverbial tipping of the old Harper. I bet she put down some old Harper in college. I still say no. Wait, wait. Go with your gut. She did it. Jay, it's real. It's fake because it would be demeaning to women. But. Woods. L.O.B. is of the mind that if it's my boyfriend. I can be a hoo-ah. So I say she did it. It's fake. Damn it! Yes! Mike, you said real. You said real. I did? Yes. I should have gone with my gut. I said I thought it was fake. Mikey, you can't remember. I thought it was fake. I'm the only one who got it right. That's two for two. We both said real. I sold you because of the proverbial. You sold me and I said I didn't want. The old Harper. My friend did do that and I may have done a version of it later, but. Well, then you did it.
No. Didn't happen. Fine. Aversion. Yeah, her version was fully clothed with a ribbon around her. He's like, cool, man. That's awesome. Get back to watching the game? Yeah. Fully clothed. Burka? Burka. I've got like bells on my wrist. I'm like... Okay. I wrote a love poem in seventh grade. Real. Go ahead. Go ahead. For my boyfriend, quote unquote. And he put it up on the wall in the boys' bathroom. That's fake. Jay. That is fake. Woods. It's fake. That is fake. Yes. Thank you. Thank you very much. Yep. What kind of monster would do that? Yeah. Jay? No. My first crush on an older man was my dad's co-worker. That is strange enough to be our girl. That is real. That is real. That's real. That is real. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I can relate, but it wasn't my dad. It was my mom. What is that? What's the story? Mr. Jadita. Mr. Jadita? Steve Jadita. What did he look like? What did he dress like? He was tall and thin. Mustache? No mustache. He had a big, huge head of bushy brown hair. Like a fro? Like a white guy fro? No, it was all straight down, but it was like... Bushy. Like identical Jay's pubes. Yeah. That's what you're saying. Woods. Woods.
Woods. What? What are you doing? What? She's just making me want it. He wore socks up to here. We all do. He wore what? He wore socks like up to his. He wore short shorts and socks like up to his mid leg. What was it about him that got you? I thought he had a crush on me. You were five. Yeah. How old were you? Six. Or seven at the oldest. Really? Yeah. Do you work at Penn State? No. If you write a book, it'll be a bestseller. I'm not kidding. There's no question. He was just a nice man. He was just a nice man. You were six? Yeah. She thought, oh yeah. He likes me. He likes me. He likes me. He wants me. So bad. Steve Jadita. Steve Jadita. Steve Jadita. Steve Jadita. And I would get jealous when he gave his daughter's attention. Oh yeah, he's married. Oh yeah. Probably jealous of the wife. You're like, I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I will kill you. L.O.B. Six years old. We're not done. We're not done. We're not done. We're playing more when we get back. And the most exciting thing to happen. I love this guy. Since the Duke sex scandal. Pretty much every morning I think that somebody's going to jump out and kill me when I get into my car. And Jay. You know you're in trouble if you can't outrun your grandma. This is The Mikey Show on FM 94.9. This is just good. Four people on The Mikey Show. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the program. And that's Woodsy sitting over there. He is our sports guy. Lauren O'Brien, otherwise known as L.O.B., is the blondie to my right. And Jay is our executive producer. He's 48. Lindsay Lohan's going to earn a million bucks for her Playboy thing. Yeah. She's farty. I'll still look, though. I just won't touch. Jay just throwing a personal opinion on the air at the sound effects? He likes to tell stories. Jay, you're so mean. You're so tough. Oh, it hurts. Oh, my gosh. Give her a break. She's just a girl trying to make a buck. Is she? Poor girl. Is she a...
Cokehead. That's just mean. I feel bad for her. Spending her time in prison as she stills things. What's still? Woods. Yes? What's happening in sports? Well, if you were planning on going to the Quicken Loans Carrier Classic, which is this Friday, Veterans Day, it's a basketball game between Michigan State and North Carolina Tar Heels that they are playing on the deck of the Navy aircraft carrier Carl Vinson. It's a really cool thing. I mean, they're playing a real college basketball game on the deck of this aircraft carrier. That's how huge that thing is. It is going to be awesome. So the problem is that there is a nasty storm coming this weekend. Oh, wow. So they say now. Here's the deal, though. If the storm does come and it starts to rain, there's enough room on this deal. They can take the court and move it downstairs under the deck. Holy cow. Yeah, so they can actually play.
Below the flight deck, which is really cool. That's unbelievable. They usually keep down there planes and helicopters. So there's plenty of room. Wow. And I thought that was so cool. That is pretty cool. Also, if you hadn't heard yet, the blackout has been lifted for the Chargers game on Thursday night against the Raiders. And also Joe Frazier, Smokin' Joe Frazier, legendary boxer, has passed away at the age of 67. I had nothing to do with it. That's a true story. You didn't mention him. I was gonna yesterday, and I didn't. It's a feast. Does he say, I see my Marianne walking away? Yes. How did he get that high? Marijuana. Yeah, clearly. Well, I'm in his vocal range. Oh. Right here. I wonder if he had a little balloon full of helium up on this. He's like, hey guys, can we not do more than a feeling thing? Yeah. I'm a little scratchy. I don't think I can get it. All right, well, we got one more question. One more. For L.O.B., are they real or fake? We have to decide whether this is a real or fake fact. Ah. Well, I'm going to pull a reverse J on him and make this one worth three points. Okay. All right. Right now, the score is Mikey won, J3 Woods won. All right. Make it worth playing, right? You got it. You got it. Sounds good. You got it. Actually, let's make it four. Yes. So that we don't. Yes.
Yeah, in. I have a tie. All right. When I was in sixth grade, I threw the football farther than any other girl in gym class, and I got asked out before the end of class. Gosh, these are good, man. She's good at this. Sixth grade? Sixth grade. It's fake. Jay? I'm going to say it's fake as well. Woods. It's real. It's real. Dang it! Oh, my God! Yeah! I finally win a game. Woods win. LFB? Really? That's right. What happened? You throw the ball farther than the dudes and some guy, some little kid, what? Yep. His friend came over and asked me if I would go out with him, that he saw how I threw the football. Our teacher made a big deal about it because he was like, Hey, everyone. Mr. Williams, that's how he talked. Yeah. Come look at O'Brien.
Oh, my God. And he was having me show some of the boys. So the friend came over and said, hey, Tommy two times wants to go out with you. Tommy two times. What did you say to that? No. You said no? It was disgusting. Oh, wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. So he had to walk back over there and go, no. She said you're disgusting. Absolutely not. You're filthy. You know what, though? Don't be freaked out about it. About 20 years from now, she's going to say that the thing that happens in Nickelback is totally fine. Yeah. She's pretty cold. She's a cold heart. Oh, please. Suck it up. Are you men or are you babies? Babies. Babies. Clearly babies. Suck it up. We don't have a problem. Yeah, I'll tell you right now. Yeah, I'll just say. Big, giant, fat baby. That's right. Cleaning lady, by the way, was at a museum. And she accidentally scrubbed away part of a million-dollar sculpture, okay? Now, the reason that she did it is because she couldn't tell the difference between a mess and art, because it looked like a mess to her. Oh, no. Yeah, to her, it looked like a big, giant pile of mess. And so the piece was called When It Starts Dripping from the Ceiling. That was the name of the actual $1.1 million sculpture. That was by a German name. Vandal.
No, a German name, Martin Kittenberger. Oh, it was a Kittenberger. He could just redo it, though, right? No, he cannot. It is a one-of-a-kind piece of art. And it was at the Oswald Museum in Dortmund, Germany. And it was worth $1.1 million by the acclaimed Martin Kittenberger. One of those modern art pieces. Yeah, correct. poop on the wall and call it art? Yeah. Well, it had a bunch of wooden slats all over it and what appeared to be dried puddle on the floor. But it was part of the sculpture. And she cleaned it. And there goes... You know, he couldn't redo it if he wanted to, by the way, because he died in 1997. I was going to tell you guys that. He's a big fan of his work. So you just... Call that cleaning lady in the office? Yeah. I'm sorry, I did. I thought it was for him to go. What were you thinking? I was thinking somebody spilled the paint. It was, but it was artwork. It did not look this way. Did you read the name of the painting? It's a Kutenberg. I know, but it was on the floor. It looked like somebody dropped paint or threw up. Don't you speak German?
I barely speak English. Here's my friend. He's got a perfect German accent. What's wrong with that guy? He's the head security here at the museum and wants to talk to... That's right. But what do you mean that's right? I don't know what he said. Say it again. He's supposed to be telling you that... Is that the nursery rhyme? Is this nursery rhyme in... Isolate. Chris, you can hear him laughing from a room in a soundproof room. That's the beginning of a Def Leppard song, and you know that. How dare you? How dare you? That's Def Leppard. Rock, rock till you drop. No. Oh, I thought it was, you're pretty fly for a white guy. Offspring? I got something to say. And I'm better to burn out. How dare you, Jay? And fade away. Rock of Ages. Yep. It's Rock of Ages. Oh, I thought they did that. Isolate. Identical Def Leppard. Yep. Thank you. Isolate.
I think we can just find a new bit. That's fantastic. One more time, please. One more time. I'm begging you. I'm begging you. Not one time has it been repeated. He hasn't done it once. Not once. He has yet to do it. I think he did it best. He did it best when he wasn't listening. True.
How do you do a German with a southern accent? Shut up. Stop. Locked and loaded. Stop. I'm dying. Oh my god, that hurts. That was strange. Strange turn of events. Let's do some new releases. What do you think? Want to do some new releases? And, by the way, City in Color, Dallas Green will be in here soon. And I'm really stoked because he... Are you prepared? Yes. Because he doesn't do morning singing, but he's coming in to make an exception for us. He's really good. All right, Woodsy, what's out today? Angels and Airwaves. Love. Oh, my God. What's love? It is contagious. What's love? Dang it. Love album parts one and two. Love. It's like Blink. Same guy. Same guy, though, right? That's why. There you go. Mikey? Yeah. Judy Collins is out with a new record today, Bohemian. I introduced Judy Collins on stage with wet pants. Well, they weren't wet. Yeah, they were. Well, they were wet from pee-pee. They were spreckled. At an accident. Spreckled. At a wine festival, right? Yeah, wine festival. Who's this guy? I want to see Judy Collins. Who's this guy?
I'd pay $20 for Woods to buy this CD and be forced to listen to it in his car. No problems with that. With crying babies. Very sad. Very sad song called Big Sur. Now by sad, do you just mean that she's still doing this stuff? She still tells a pretty good story. She still tells a pretty good story. Something new about Jay we didn't know. She really appreciates her. He appreciates her. He didn't just like her. He appreciates the art. Yeah. The stories that she, the yarns that she weaves. Yes. I can see what she's singing about. And yet, another brick falls with our friend Jay. We didn't know that. She dated Judy Collins. Yes. Several times. Babysad her and creeped on her. Yes. Very true story. Also, the new. She wrote Bring in the Clowns. Maybe they're here.
About Jay. I'm pretty sure they're here. Also, the new Noel Gallagher is out today. High Flying Birds. Does he sing on the record? Yes, it's very good. It's the crescendo. I asked Ted if we could cover this and he didn't want to do it. He's brilliant, man. Noel Gallagher. Can't freaking get enough of Oasis. I'm with you. You ever listen to Oasis and then taking it off the record player, man, and just started listening to deep? Purple and stuff like that. Nope. Oh, man. One time Hat came over and we smoked some peyote. Oh, wow. And then I listened to Deep Purple, Side One, their first record. And then Oasis. Yeah, good band. Fantastic, man. Fantastic. Good new solo record, too. Really good. Here you go. This is our YouTube Comedian of the Week.
It's late at night and you're laying there and all of a sudden, outside, you hear a car alarm go off for like 46 minutes. You're just laying there. That's my favorite part right there. I love it. I get inspired. I walk around my house. In fact, one night I wrote lyrics. Now every time I hear one, I stand on my bed. I'm like, hello. I'm a car. I don't care if you laughed at that or not, next time you hear that you're like... That Dane Cook is a silly... He got me.
This is a true story from Florida. Dateline Florida. A Florida man is facing domestic battery charges after he allegedly pushed and shoved his girlfriend to the ground as she attempted to stop him from overdosing on what turned out to be Fred Flintstone vitamins. Oh my. Hell of a way to go. Is the drama king real good? During an argument with his girlfriend, who had announced her intention to break up with him, Aaron Hostetler, who I believe was a quarterback for the Giants at one time. That was Jeff Hostetler. My bad. Made a, quote, attempt to make it appear as though he wanted to commit suicide. Believing that Hostetler was, quote, swallowing something that he was not supposed to be swallowing, like sleeping pills. The woman tried to intercede, but he pushed her to the ground, and according to the county sheriff's department, he had only taken Fred Flintstone vitamins. He was later released after posting $4,200 in bond. I'm an idiot. He has a court date set for December 6th. That is quite dramatic. I'm going to take these. Don't do it. I'm going to take these.
No, please stop. You're breaking my heart. I'm taking these. Please don't. I can't get them over. It's Flintstones. I can't get them over. That's a Barney. Please don't. I need those for my kids. I'm taking these. Please, no. I'll be so sad. Those are... I'm taking these. Hey, that's Wilma. That's Wilma. I'm taking these. Can I have a Dino? Shut up. Give her a Dino. They're not vitamins. Give her a Dino. I'm taking all these. You better replace those. I'm taking these. That's yellow. That's blue. I'm taking these right now. That's Fred. I'm taking these. That's Fred. I hate you. I hate you so much. Is it really a cry for help if it's Flintstones? No. Oh, man. It's like a cry for stronger bones. Yes. It's a cry for calcium. A cry for multivitamin. These are four things that make you dumber. Not getting enough sleep, might be. I can't say my name. No. I get plenty. I sleep great at night. After I make love, it's all I can do. All I need is 30 minutes. That's all I need. 25. Not taking your prescriptions will make you dumber. Don't have any. I don't have any. Do you not have any prescriptions? Nada. Nada. This would be dumb if I didn't take my birth control and then expected to not get pregnant. Become pregnant? That would be dumb. That's the only one I have to worry about. When you're giving it away. Yep, that's right. Oh, wow.
He's on the house. He's having plenty of sex, Jay. What are you going to do with that? You know what else can make you dumb? Not eating right. Woods, Mikey. Woods, Mike. Jay had candy at the movie theater. Oh, yeah, he did. What? You are a tattletale. That's right. I told you that in COVID. Motivember is out. Tell us, Ella B. Tell us. All he said was, that was the only thing he had to give up. You. I give up naps instead. You don't nap. You don't nap. That's a treat anyway. You're a French prostitute, Jay. I am. I'll give up threesomes, Mike. Fine. Really? I'm trying to do a number of things in Motivember. Jay said the one thing he was going to give up was candy. What are you supposed to be giving up? A lot. Well, give me an example. I'm not really supposed to be giving it up. How dare he? Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.
Can you give me an example? I just looked over. Right as that was happening, I thought that was his real voice. You own mushrooms? Because I saw you eat a candy bar this morning. I did. I had one. Are you? What? I did. Motivember is a joke. It's a joke. I had one. Motivember is a joke. Fun size. It doesn't exist. I didn't say I was giving anything up. How dare you? I said I was going to do better. How dare. Better than what I was. I'll do better to that. She didn't say I'll do better. It has almonds in it. Almonds. Woods' personal trainer said this is the best candy bar you could have. It's true. If you gotta eat one, eat a Snickers almond. I had one fun-sized almond bite. How? Yeah, these two. Dare you. One. Because I forgot my breakfast. Unbelievable. Hey, call us with this. Something weird on your body that nobody knows about or that everybody knows about. For example, a third nipple. To see Dallas Green. Not on the list. Weird. She hates her coworkers. I like sleep. Do you? Jay, you weren't supposed to go until 30 seconds ago. Shut your trap. As far as I know, I've been going all along. Yeah. 570-1949. All right, we got a lot of people on the line. That have weird stuff on them. And let's see. M1 Tanya from San Marcos. Hello. Are you there? I'm here. What do you have? I have on my pinky toe a piece of skin that grows under my cuticle but on top of my toenail. Wow. Like a flap. Oh, wow. A skin flap. Oh, wow. skin flap. I don't like it. Oh, gosh. I'll cut it off. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Stop telling lies. What happens after you cut it off? It just scabs up and then falls off and it grows back. It grows back. Are you single? You married a blind man with no hands.
What does your husband say about this friend? He doesn't. I think he just ignores it. Does he have a name for it? Henry. No, but that's a great idea. Yeah, you should name him. Henry. From now on, she's M1 Skinflap. M1 Skinflap. I want a picture so bad. I want to see what that looks like. Will you send us a picture? Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. You got to grow it out first, though. Throw it out. It's at a good length right now. It's at a good length right now. It's at a good length right now. I'm in my coffin. I'm in my coffin. Oh, gosh. Thank you so much. M1 Gary from Oceanside. Hey, how's it going? We were better. Yeah, it's been better. It's a good thing he keeps you guys in check. Yeah, that's right. That's right. You hate Nickelback, too? What do you got? I didn't know a song that they play. Yes, you do. They're on your iPod. Gary, what do you got that's weird? Well, the reason I call that, I have those. On the back of my head is a really large bump that's about the size of a golf ball. And it's always been there. There's nothing wrong. It just appears to be. And it's always been there? Yeah, it's always been there. I've got it, too. Where? My mom used to tell me it's a smart bump. Don't worry about it. That's right.
And so then I looked up recently, I looked up what is a smart bump, and it's what they used to term for dogs when they were breeding dogs. Dogs would have a smart bump, but nothing for humans. Have you ever asked a doctor about it? Yeah. What's the doc say? They said it's just the shape of my skull on the back of my head. Wait, wait. Your skull all of a sudden just has this bumping part of it? Well, it always has had it. Wow. Wow. Woods says he's got it. I got the same thing. Feel a little bit. You can't see it because I have it. Okay, relax, relax. Oh, gosh, Woods. Oh, it's just a little bump. Yeah. Everybody's got little bumps. A little bump, yeah. It's a pretty good size. I've always had it, too. It's weird. You ever exaggerate about size? Come here. Let me see it. Come here. Come over here. Let's see how big your bump is. My wife's coming in in 20 minutes. She won't ask her about size. I'm an extra long. Yeah, see how giant this bump is? Look. It's tiny. It's just small. It's tiny. Rub your hair. Can you please? He gets so overexcited. Woods, Woods, take it. You don't have to grab my hand. Yeah, he does. And rub it. Can I find it myself? Can I? Woods, can I find it myself? He's like a crazy dog. Woods, you're holding my hand and rubbing it in the back of your head. Please let me try. Anything for physical contact? Don't we all have that? I have one. I have one, too. I have a little one. Doesn't every human being have that, Woods? Woods is like, oh, yeah, I have that.
Yeah, it's what everyone has. Yeah, I got that, Mike. I got one right here. Mike. Shut up. Mike, check this out. I got it. Check mine out. Bro, I have it. I've always had it. It's a weird, it's a hat ridge. Like my hat thing goes right below. It's called human. Yeah. I really do. Ooh, that hoe is big. I got lightheaded. Let's see. M1 Party from Mira Mesa. Yeah, I got to tell you, I had to have surgery on my lower back just above my tush. And it's a pyramidal cyst, so they actually have to remove it from the inside out, and it heals from the inside out. So it looks like a female part on my lower back. Oh, wow. That's worse than a tattoo. You sent us a picture. Yeah, it's so gnarly.
conscious thing like where you bend over and it's the mangina like you just don't want anyone to see it he has an actual mangina on his back yeah and you just it's one of those things you gotta live with and it's bad it's a lot of Mikey's coin slot at the Mikey-thon yeah coin slot but I mean coin slot by you know an inch by four inches can you send us a photo that's purple that looks you know what I mean You should hope you never land in prison. Oh, boy. I used to have something on my tush. I think it was called a keloid. Because I tried looking it up online. And I asked a doctor one time that was doing a hernia repair. I said, what is this right here? And he said, I don't know, it's just skin. Is it like a tag? Like a skin tag? I don't know what that is. Was it big, little, like really little? I feel pressured. Could you hang from it? I feel embarrassed. Now, this moment. Was it a bed sore? Okay, now I feel... Was it a chair that was attached? Now I'm humiliated. Was it syphilis? Could you flick it and it would move?
A skin tan. Was it a quarter pounder box? Yeah, that you just lost. Was it a piece of toilet paper? Had your skin grown over a... A french fry. A french fry. Was it a tortilla stock? Yeah. Was it a jalapeno slice? Whole wheat tortilla. Was it a whole can of enchilada sauce? I feel regret now, I guess, for bringing it up. Was it donkey hairs? Donkey hairs. Burrow hairs. Burrow hairs. It was an impacted burrow hair. You should get a saddle. for sure. Oh, that hurts. Definitely use a saddle next time. And don't ride side saddle. Go bareback on a burrow. Not on a burrow. Again. Not on a burrow. I don't ride burrows naked. Side saddle. Alright, that was ridiculous. You do with pants on. The pants might have been thin enough for the burrow hair to penetrate. Last breath. It's a mashup. Ouch. Well, glad I brought it up. I have a weird birthmark. Where? It's on my grundle. Let's see it.
That's a true story. Thank you. M1. It's true. Harold, what's yours? I got toes the length of fingers. I can actually pick stuff up with them. Are you for real? My brother and my boyfriend both do that. They have? Finger toes. You can pinch people with them. Yeah, yeah, I can do that. That's disgusting. Finger toes. Like a monkey. Yeah. You can literally swing from trees with your feet. He hangs upside down. I can peel bananas and everything, yeah. Oh, my gosh. I have to see that. I don't. I don't see it. I don't. Oh, he doesn't actually peel bananas. I don't. Can you play piano with your feet? I don't know. I never tried it. Thank you, Harold. I had hemangioba on my back. Oh, wow. You need to wear a condom. No, no. It was the giant birthmark, and it went away. It just went away? Yeah, a lot of babies are born with it. It's like a raised, almost like rosy colored. On your back? It was on my back. How long did it take to go away? I was like five, but it kept getting smaller and smaller and smaller. And the doctor kept telling my parents. I might have been like six because I remember it. My mom was kind of grossed out by it. Can you cut this thing off? Did she let you know that she was grossed out by it? No, she told me after the fact. She was worried. Hi.
This is Mrs. O'Brien. This is my daughter, Lauren. Lauren. She's got a thing on her back. It makes me sick. It's nauseating. It's disgusting. My daughter is nauseating. I used to make Sunday gravy, and I can't. I can't do it anymore. It's the same color. It's disgusting. She wears a bathing suit. Forget it. Forget it. I can't take her to the shore. I can't take her anywhere. It's repugnant. I tell her that every chance I get. I say to my daughter, I go, Lauren, it's disgusting. She's afraid the boys wouldn't like me if it stayed there. That's probably a true fact. Did she tell you that? Not when I was a kid. She told me after the fact. She's like, I got to tell you. I am glad. Because you could have had surgery. It was awfully hideous. Your hemangiotoba fell off and we were so happy. I remember telling your father. She'll never have a boyfriend. I said, no one's ever going to marry her with that hemangiotoba on there. Hemangioba. You drink that, right? You drink hemangioba. I don't. Didn't he come in concert last weekend? Yeah.
He was. He played at Pechanga. Yeah. You guys are taking liberties there. Isn't that a province in Canada? Yeah. It is. There's a moose hunting is legal two times a year in Hemangitoba. I think it's a Muse song. Yes. Muse. Yes. It's actually on their first demo, Hemangitoba. 570-1949. I don't know why you don't want to talk about the birthmark that are under my boys. M1, Andrew from Ramona. Ignore bit. Hi. I got four nipples. Isolate. Liar. Can you milk me? I got two regular sized ones and like right underneath my man boobies I got a... Under? They throw an arrow around them and everything. Under? Under? Yeah. Like in the flap? Yeah, because I'm, you know, I'm a heavyset guy. You're like a cat. Have you always had them? Say again? Have you always had them? Yeah, they just been... You know, I'm in my late 20s, and they just become more prominent as I'm getting older. Oh, my God. Maybe it's a twin that didn't develop. It's pretty awesome, you know? I just dropped the jaws of everybody. I just saw a picture of a kid in China, and he's got a whole other face coming out of here. With teeth and stuff. With teeth, and they move. Yeah, it's, come on. And a little head. It's like a whole little face, a whole little head. Coughing. And they have to shave it. They have to shave it to get it, you know. I wish Jay would.
sometimes keep those stories and just keep them in his heart. What does he look at on the internet? Yes. You knew about it too. What is he looking for? What is his Google history? China stuff. Dirty China stuff. I want the dirtiest China stuff I can find. China? History clear. I want to see these nipples. Isolate. Guy's got four nipples. I want to see them. With hair. I want to see. I don't. Is he still on the line? No. Let him go. Go ahead. You can talk to him. I just want him to send a picture. Please. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I'm sure he doesn't have a problem to one of his coworkers going like this, holding up his boobs. Can you get me? Okay, can you get this? Here, hold on. Pull these up. He's like, that one's blurry. It's dark. Yeah, can I, why don't we turn the lights on? I don't really want to turn the lights on. I'm already holding up my breasts. Oh, my gosh. Oh, that sucks.
I wonder if they're sensitive. I wonder if they feel like. Yes, Woods. If they're sources of pleasure. That's what we all wonder. We all wonder if they're sources of pleasure. You are. Oh, my gosh. Ew. Woods. He's licking his fingers. Don't say it. Don't. You can hear that rustling. Imagine what he's doing. Hold on. You are such a creep. He's licking his fingers before he does that. Stop it. It's disgusting. You are a smelly pirate hooker. I'm dressing up as four-nippled guy next Halloween. Oh my gosh. I want to squeeze him. The average American only has two close friends, which is down from three 25 years ago. 25 years ago, most people had three very close friends. I have two. I have two very close friends. Woods, I consider you a close friend. Thank you so much. And my friend CB. I've got so many close friends. I have a lot of acquaintances. I have a lot of acquaintances. People that are my friend, but in terms of close, where I could virtually tell them anything. I only have two. And I think that's a good idea. I think that you should be friendly.
to everybody, but have a very small group of very close friends. Well, it works for you. I like to have a lot of close friends. I got a bunch of close, close friends I could tell anything to. But they're scattered across the country. That's the deal. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Sun Tzu, the art of war. 48% of people say that they only have one close friend. And 18% say they have two. 29% say... They have more than two, and 4% say they have no close friends. That breaks my heart. I'll be a friend. No, no, no. It doesn't. Listen, it shouldn't break your heart. It does. I'll tell you why. Some people don't want close friends. You're right. Some people are jackholes, too. Yep. No. It's true. What? It doesn't make me a jackal. What? Because I don't trust people. If you don't want any? Yeah. You know who my friend... Makes you a jerk, kind of. No. No, it doesn't. I don't want any close friends. It makes you a weirdo. It does not. It makes you fearful. In some cases, it could. It was in my case. I was afraid. You have close friends, though. I do now. Dude, you've only been here two years, and you're my second closest friend. But you've known CB for a long time. He's never going to hurt you. Yeah, but what about before then? I didn't have any really close friends. Eddie and I were not... B-Rob? B-Rob was a close friend. Yeah, B-Rob was a close friend, but...
Bringing up a sports subject? No, no, no. B-Rob was a close friend, but not really, though. I mean, he was and he wasn't. Don't you have some that are, but they're not? They are. They're somewhere in between. I have plenty of fake friends. Well, they're not fake, but they're like... Minor. A lot of girls have fake friends. That's a girl bit. It's a big girl bit. Oh my god, it's so good to see you. I freaking hate her. We need to hate her. I can't stand her. Why do they do that? I don't know. Let's see. Woods, do you think people should have a lot of friends? Yeah. I say it's different for every person. Different for everybody. I have a lot of close friends. If I go through, if I'm in two hours of traffic, I make about six calls per week that I call. I call about six guys per week that we catch up. Can I put you under a microscope and study? Yes. What would you feel inside if I took away your cell phone and you were not allowed to call anyone? I couldn't make those calls? I'd be bummed. I'd be bummed, yeah. I mean, I talk to one of my close friends every single day. Would you be anxious? Yes, very, very. I'd be very anxious. I'm kind of similar. I'm kind of similar. I need to be making phone calls on the way home. Well, I need to be taught. I want to talk. You know, I'll talk to Jamie for two seconds. I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm going to see you when I get home.
I'm going to call Fenwick in Wichita, who I don't live near. We don't get to hang out. So let's catch up once a week. What's going on? This happened. I went to this show, whatever. And I got about six or seven of those cats that I got to hit on a weekly basis. I have to do it. Some people can't be left alone with their own thoughts. Oh, God. I'm not saying that's you. I'm just saying some people are constantly either doing something or calling someone. Not me. I love my own thoughts. Don't I? Yeah. I'm comfortable in my own skin. Finally. Finally. You made it. You are. I did it. Look at that guy. It's true. But. Totally. But I am insecure like that. It ain't about that. I am comfortable in my own skin. You're peering into my eyes. I'm serious. I believe that you're comfortable. I'm probably more well balanced now except for my diet than I've ever been. Suck it. Wow. I love this girl. Dallas Green's going to be in here. City in color. We will press a button. And on the screen will come something in entertainment and we'll have to describe it to our partner without using any word contained within that phrase. Now, here's the deal. We found out by reading the directions that if we come upon something that we don't know, that we're allowed to go to the next one. Yeah, you can hit next. But I have a problem with it because I think that we'll just be like, I don't like that one. We'll abuse it. We'll abuse it. Okay. I can get behind it. Even though that's the rules, I'll get behind it. Because I know this SOB over here on my right, and he'll go, I've never heard of Eartha Kitt. Hey, I've been playing this game for years and years. Oh, she is a very pretty African-American lady. She's an actress, also is a singer. She's not a king, but a Queen Latifah. Oh, my goodness. Oh, boy. Come on, do this. Oh, they're faking. They're faking. They're faking. Transformers, dorky guy. Oh, what is his name? You're talking about the... Yeah, his last name is like French. Fink bit. No, I can't remember his name. Yes, you can. He's a weagel. LaBeouf. LaBeouf. Yes. What's his first name? Really? Sean. No, I'm not outgoing. I'm kind of... Shy. Shy LaBeouf. Yeah! Really. Thank you, Ella B. I didn't know. I swear to God. It's the company that makes the movie Cars. Pixar. That's right. Oh, my gosh. Oh, stop it. It's a television show that Mikey likes to watch, and it's all about... Swan People. No, it's when they... Man vs. Food. Yeah! Yeah! Food Network. Team 1 gets a point. Yep. Yes. Such a fake bit. I swear. What is it? Shalom? Is it Shalom? I thought it was Sean. Is it Sean? You can't call me. Trust me, I can't think of anything else he was in. Are you ready? She was in 90210. Shannon Doherty. She graduates. Donna Martin. Right. Played by.

And last name is RF. Kennedy. Lauren Kennedy? No, it's Financial Institute. Lauren Fargo? Lauren Bank? Some people live in a little shack. What do you call a little shack? Lauren Castle? Lauren Hutton. By the way, it's EF Hutton, not RF Hutton. RF Hutton. So close. Come on, when RF Hutton talks, you listen.
I put all my money in the R.F. You're the greatest human. You're the greatest human ever. Hey, babe, market's down. Call R.F. Hutton. We're getting out of this. You're the greatest. You're the greatest. R.F. R.F. I don't know it. R.F. Roosevelt. No. Close enough. All right. You ready? Yes. Mind melding. Sorry, Lauren. Italians will say this. Ciao. It's also the name of a play. Not your father, but your mother. Mama Mia. I love the hand motions. Woods is like one of these. Tornado. I think there's a guitar game called it. Two words. The second word is twinkle, twinkle, little. Star. And the first word is like. Star tours. It's not a stone. It's a. It's a rock. Rock star. Am I like one of those? Yeah. I think so. The first, it's two words, and the first word is a pop star that wears purple. Prince. Prince Harry. No. Prince Caspian. No, it's... Dudley Moore played him in... Prince Arthur! Yes! No! Gosh. Gee willikers. Let's see. Gee willikers. It just stopped. It just stopped. Oh, you're done. You're done. It's Josh Rowland.
Do you know who Josh Brolin is? Yes. Well, from Golly Willikers, you should have had Josh Brolin. It ran out before I even had a chance. What more of a piece of information do you need than Golly Willikers? Josh Brolin. Nope. Who is Josh Brolin? He's an actor. He's an actor. I have no idea. Great actor. Oh, an actor. No Country for Old Men. He was the main character in No Country for Old Men. I had no idea. He was in Wall Street Money Never Sleeps. Gee Willikers. Anita Rice. You ready? Lawrence Thomas. You ready? This is for the win. We get this when we win. Ready? Let's do it. We're closed out. Got to come back. It's a television show, and it is about, it's not judge and jury. Judge Judy. No. It's like that, in that vein. It's not judge and jury. It's, yeah, I know what you're talking about. I've got to uphold the law and order. You said and. It's like and. Oh, whatever. No, no, no, no, no. You said and. You can say and. You can't say blank and blank. I've got a ticking time. What are we doing? He can't do that. You can't say it's blank and blank. I'll give you the point, Sally. I'll give you the point. You can't say blank and blank. P word. I'll give you the point. It's three words. You can have the point, Sal. Go ahead. We'll start over. We're not allowed to say the word. You're not allowed to say the word? We're not allowed to say the word. You can stop. Okay, Gertrude. I'll give it to you. You can have it. Since you need it that bad, I'll go ahead and give it to you. Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. It's 301. This is what it would be like playing games. Okay. It's sister of Jessica. She's skinnier, but she's also a singer.
She's weird. Why am I so dumb at this? Oh, my gosh. Not Jessica Simpson, but it's... Yep. You're on to it. She's the least... She had a nose job. There's a Judd sister with this first name as well. Not Ashley. Yes. Ashley Simpson. Yep. Oh, I like the hold back, too. He was a R&B singer, and he was... Usher. Blind. Ray Charles? Yep. Slow pass. Slow pass. It was Lucy and Arnaz. Desi. And their neighbors. Hi, I'm home. Their neighbors. Oh, I don't know. No clue. The Flintstone. His first name is. Fred. And her name is. Gosh, you've never watched. No. No, it's not. It starts. I was about to say. Yeah. Is that it? Fred and Ethel. Is that it? That's it. You guys. I love it. I love it. I love it so much. M1, Sarah from Oceanside. We brought it home. Shut up. Thanks, guys. We brought it home. We had to give him one. Hang on the line. I bet we would have done better if we didn't give you that one. We would have done better if G. Willikers hadn't come up, too. G. Willikers. Oh, Tony Stark at G. Willikers. Yes. Next. I love that game so much. I love it. So the Russians are going to fly to Mars. And here's the deal.
In order to get their cosmonauts ready, they had to spend 520 days in isolation. Oh, my God. Forget it. Yes. 520 days. Now, you know me. No problem. Paradise. Yeah. Garden of Eden. I love confined. I'm the opposite of claustrophobic. You don't need to go outside and go. Nah. Even I do, and I'm pretty sedentary. Nah. Oh my gosh. As long as there's things for me to do and keep my attention and all that stuff. Food, Mac. Is there isolation? Does that mean no other people either? No, there's people. In fact, I think you... That's really dangerous when there's no people. Yeah, that's like what they do on death row. Yeah. See, I think I'd be fine on death row in isolation. Or not death row. You wouldn't though, Woodsy. But I think I would in jail. Now listen, I've done the gen pop. Isolation messes people up bad. 23 hours of the day. The kid can sleep like a champion. Yeah, for a month. What about six years? Yeah.
You know, six years into it, you haven't talked to anybody. It's supposed to jack people. And they don't touch you either. I could do 20 days in isolation. They stick the food in, you eat it, put it back, and then they let you out for an hour to walk around by yourself and then back in there. Oh, terrible. For me, I go, hey, what's a big whoop? But then you go, after years and years, it messes you up. And I just saw a special on it, and they were interviewing the people. They were trying to figure out whether they were still sane. They were. They were still sane. No books in there? Yeah. You can't? Oh, if you could read, I think I'd be okay. The problem is that we innately desire human contact. We innately desire it and need it. Yeah. And so they were sane, but they weren't the same. Oh, yeah. And that's what was weird. You know, they were a little... Little changer. Yes. They did that study, was it... Stanford or UC Berkeley, they did that study, and they had to call it off. It was students. Simulating. Yeah, they had to, like, because the students started getting violent and, like, turning on each other. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. They're sending those cats to Mars? Yeah. And you know how long it takes to get to Mars? How long? Six and a half months. Oh. Are you kidding? You're kidding. No. And imagine how fast the thing is. Why bother? How's that, like... Well, they want to be the first, and maybe there's something there that we...
Helps us. You're like dedicating your life to science pretty much. Yeah. Well, I mean, it's a year. It's over a year plus the 520 days in isolation. Oh, or is that included? Yeah, because you fly there. It takes six months to get to Mars. Imagine how far that is because you're flying fast. Yeah. I would totally go. I would do it. I mean, if Rebecca would let me. I have no desire to go to space. No, I'd be scared to death. I don't like to fly on Southwest. I'm not getting on a Challenger and going up there. Forget it. Dude. None. I wouldn't be able to handle it. I'd have a heart attack. No fresh air? Of fear. I would die of fear. What's the fear? That it would explode. Nah, it's probably not going to. That I would get stranded in space would be number one. That's probably not going to happen either. Probably, but they didn't, you know, Krista McAuliffe didn't think that thing was going to blow up on her either. But that was really rare. Too soon. Really rare. It wasn't too soon. It was like 30 years ago. It wasn't a joke. I wasn't joking. Yeah, yeah. And it wasn't supposed to happen. And it doesn't happen very often. Doesn't. I would feel safe, and I would love the experience of being able to look out the window and see Earth from afar. If you go to Google, you can do it. Or go buy a new Mac today. I'm sure you will. You can open it, and there's a freaking picture of the Earth. So it's right there anyway. $15 million just to have them do.
The experiment. 15 mil for the experiment. So they come out. Their faces are pale. They're smiling. Seriously, that's what the report says. They come out. Their faces are completely pale. They're smiling, though. They've been in isolation. They were bleary-eyed. They've been in isolation for 520 days, windowless, windowless, in cramped cells to stimulate the length of a journey to Mars. So, okay, so that's over a year. Yep. Yes. And then the journey itself. Yes. So as I'm saying, you're six months there and then back. And back. So you're dedicating like three years. And when you're there, you got to like go to the gift shop and you got to get some of your kids and you can't just go and come back. You got to go to Mars Lake for sure. The Mars Dam. Yeah. Mars Dam. You got to see everything. The must sees. You got to go to the Starbucks there and get one that says Starbucks Mars. Yeah. The Hard Rock. Hard Rock Cafe, Mars. You got to sneak some rocks, even though Customs is like, I don't think so. I don't think so, buddy. Why is the dirt red? You got me. It's the rock from Mars. You don't know about the one I have hidden somewhere else. Six dudes. It was all dudes, and they were allowed to briefly hug their families before they were ushered away for three days of quarantine. Can you imagine me, you, and Jay?
Isolated in cramped cells. Not for 20 minutes. Let's do it. For three, for 520, I'm just cupping farts, throwing them in your face. You're losing your mind. I'm butter cupping you. You know what I think we should do? What? I think that me and you and Jay should have to like go into a bathroom here or a room here and live in there. I'll do it. No, not a bathroom. Not about it. It's dirty. Yeah. And you can't where you eat. So... How about just your office? Yeah, the office. Oh, my God. And we all have to be in there. What about this studio? Too much space. And then they can't fire us because we're in here. We're living here. Windows. Oh, we'll put tape over it. We'll put... We black this out. We'll black that out. I'll do it. I think it would be... We should make it co-ed for sure. No. You are such a creepy... I'm just saying. You're such a... Give us something to do. Mike, Mike. I can't go three days. You know that. Well, more importantly... Kim can't go three days. She'll die. I made Kim get an operation just so that time only lasts 20 seconds. Right. So that we can get back to business. Back to business. It's got to either be co-ed or we got to allow wigs. You pick, Mike. Your choice. Your choice, but you got to decide on what. Either co-ed or you in a long brunette wig. I think that would be like a weekend. Oh, my gosh.
No, because I want to broadcast. Yeah. I want to broadcast. Next 28-hour show, you guys go in there. I'll be in here just cheering you on. I think it would be great to isolate us. My wife would not like it. She's like, oh, perfect. Oh, she would like it. She's like, no, go ahead. Please, please. She's like, please. Why don't you do it for six months? Well, I think you should. If you guys are going to really simulate going to Mars. And I think you should simulate coming back. Also. See you in 2014. Oh, and don't forget, it's probably a couple weeks of rock. Of quarantine. Quarantine. Training and all that. So all told, a year, three months. Crazy Russians. That's right. I think it would be hysterical. You guys should do it. Me and Jay just farting real good. Mike freaking out. Freak. Not getting upset. freaking out. Yeah, there'd be rules. Oh, there's no rules in there, brother. It's prison rules. Yeah, there are rules. Prison rules. Yeah, prison rules say you don't fart next to your inmate. Oh, you can't. You have to. What else do you know? You can't leave it in there, buddy. It's bad for you. There are toilets in your cell. Yeah. You've got to sit right next to him. Legitimate question. Legitimate question. Legitimate question. What is a toilet? What's a toilet? I'll show you. Love him.
The CIA is following Twitter and Facebook. Perfect. I don't have a problem with it. Me neither. Uh-oh. I don't like it. Unless they hate the University of Michigan, then I'm, you know, won't be in trouble. Here's the deal. They're keeping tabs on us just in case we're putting stuff on there that we could be a terrorist. Well, shouldn't we assume that? It's the internet. Don't put anything out there you don't want everyone to see. They monitor up to five million tweets a day. Wow. I mean, unless they're SC fans, I'm in good shape. And other than that, I'm good. Or Red Sox fans. It's the only thing I do. What do you mean? Because I talk smack about teams I don't like. I'm not talking about Obama or Herman Cain or anybody. They'd be all right with you saying hugs to, you know. Kristen Cavallari. Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian. JoJo. JoJo the other day. Star. Hugs. Star. Star. Hugs. Star. Hugs. Yes. It's nice to spread a little love every now and then. Yeah. Did JoJo tweet you back? No. She probably hasn't read it yet. She will. When she reads it, she'll tweet you back and say thank you for the hugs. I would assume she's read it. She probably only gets like three tweets a week. I'd never heard of her until that morning. So there you go. Dallas Green is going to be in the studio with us. He's on his way here now. He just pulled up.

Ladies and gentlemen, Dallas Green is in the studio. Hi. Very, very cool to have you here. I got about a million questions for you playing House of Blues tonight, and it's sold out. Have you played San Diego before? No, not as City in Color. I've been here a couple of times with my old band. Alexa on Fire not around anymore? No, we just officially kind of called it quits in August. Now, this was interesting to me because if you're not familiar,
with Dallas and City in Color, he was also in a band called Alexis on Fire, which is super hard music. Now, we're going to move up to that. We'll eventually get to that, but I want to learn a little bit about you because, believe it or not, there's not a lot on the internet because I tried. I wanted to know more about you. You can't find a lot out about you, and I don't know if that's purposeful or if... I think it's just we're Canadian, so everything is a little slower in Canada. It could be. They're thinking about giving us the internet, I think, next year. Right. You have to have that to look forward to. Right. But I wanted to know where you were from in Canada. I'm from a town called St. Catharines, Ontario, which is about 15 minutes north of the New York border. Right. So I grew up pretty much spending my time between Toronto and Buffalo. So back and forth. Actually, my town is the same town, Neil Peart, the drummer of Rush. Really? Yeah. So that's kind of like our claim to fame, is that we're Neil's town. From the same town. But yeah, that's where I grew up. So I spent a lot of time. And it was a good music area because I was, like I said, completely in the middle of Buffalo and Toronto. So a lot of American tours don't come to Canada. And if they do, they'll just go to Toronto.
So if they didn't, I could just go over to the border and see them playing Buffalo. So what age did you pick up a guitar? My parents signed me up for lessons when I was eight years old. Really? And were you instantly kind of picking it up or did it take a long time for you to get a feel for it? I instantly hated it. Really? Yeah, because for me it was like... I never had the brain for theory. Right. So it was like, to me, it felt like I was going to school again after school, trying to learn all these notes and things. But after two years of lessons, I guess, once I figured out how to listen to my favorite song and listen to it and play it by ear, that is when I kind of knew that I had an ear for it. Not necessarily the brain for it, but an ear for it. So I quit and just started. listening to my favorite records and playing along, and then from there I started to try to write songs. Do you remember the first song you wrote? Yeah. Yeah, I do. Is it on any record? No, it's not on any record, but I have my best friend Scott, who has been sort of like there since I started writing songs, he insists that it's still the best song I've ever written. Wow. I don't think it is. I think it's crappy, but he made me record him a version of it. So actually when I made Sometimes the first record...
I did a special. Because that first record I just made in two days in the studio, I just pretty much sat in front of a microphone like this. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Your first record you did in two days? Yeah, it's just me and a guitar. I know, but it's really good. Did you know that? Were you aware of that? No, I don't. It's really good. I still don't think it's very good. So I did an extra, like, I recorded a good version of that song for him, and he's like the only guy who has it. Really? Yeah. Okay. I'm sure if we can do a fight, he'll put it on eBay or something. Now, here's the deal. I'm going to ask you about the songs, and I'm going to ask you, and if you're like, well, it's none of your business, you can tell me if it's none of my business. Oh, no, everything's your business. Okay, what was the first song about? I think I just wrote it about a girl I had a crush on who didn't want to talk to me in high school. I think I was 15 years old. It was my first year of high school. It was called Too Low. I can't remember her name necessarily. When you're young and you want to go out with a babe and she doesn't want to go out with you, it's a bummer.
as i was trying to write songs like those were the songs that always kind of uh i was drawn a little bit more to especially when i was listening to music you know the more emotional okay side of things now when did alexis on fire happen well that wasn't until i was 21 years old that's when we started so i had other bands like in high school and then the city and color thing came about actually before alexis like i uh when i graduated high school I didn't go to college or anything. I just started trying to be a musician. So I would play around coffee shops and open mic nights and things like that in my hometown. And I had all these songs I was writing on an acoustic guitar. So I did little demos of them, like basement, like on a four-track recording and burned CDs. And my mother and I, like, you know, we'd stamp them with this, like, little flower stamp to make it seem like it was cooler than it actually was. So I would sell those for, like, five bucks. And then what happened was Alexis started. And after we started sort of gaining a little bit of notoriety, it was around the same time that file sharing started kind of blowing up. And so people who had these old songs of mine were putting them on the Internet. And then kids who liked Alexis on Fire all over the place were finding out about... Sitting color. Yeah. But that's when it was, I guess, just called Dallas Green because I didn't think of calling it anything else at that point. And so it started kind of blowing my mind. I didn't know how these people were.
How did the guys in Alexis on Fire take it? Were they cool? Yeah, they were cool with it at first because I didn't really do anything with it. And then it got to the point where so many people were asking me about it that I went and the thing behind the first record was I just wanted to make better versions of these songs people were listening to. Yeah. So that's why I took the best ones I thought. that i still liked and then i had written a couple like three or four more since that time period and i went into the studio for a couple days and made that record and well here is the thing that was so amazing about the first time i ever heard that record uh is i was struck by the songwriting and how honest and emotional it was very honest yeah and uh and then just the songwriting in and of itself was stuff that It's cool to listen to something and you go, wow, that is something I couldn't do ever, ever. And what is the process like for you? Do you take a long time to write a song or do they just come right out of you? Oh, yeah. No, it's a horrible process. Really? Yeah. I mean, music and melodies usually come to me relatively quickly. Yeah. I think that's just because I've been playing guitar for more than half my life and singing for almost as long. Yeah. You know, so I'm always humming and hawing about something.
The words, they take me a very long time. And I think it's because they're so personal to me that I need every word to matter more than the last. Like if I'm going to write a song about my sister for my sister because that's my way of helping her go through something, then I need to make sure that it means as much to her as it does to me. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. So I can't just sit there and like... be happy with some line I came up with. So I sit there and I just pine and pine over them until I'm... We're talking to Dallas Green from City in Color and he's got three albums and they're all phenomenal. This album, the latest album called Little Hell is a little bit different because you plug in. Now the first two records are acoustic.
Correct? Or is there anything plugged in on... Spring Merely's got a little bit more, like a little bit electric here and there and some drums on a couple of songs. Harmonica, which was cool? Yeah. But then this album, I remember the first time I heard Fragile Bird where you're completely plugged in and I thought, wow, that's really cool. It still translates. It's still all together city and color and yet it's just this completely different sound. But I don't want to talk anymore. I want people to hear this voice, this incredible voice that is not to overplay it. It's stunning. I got to ask you about this too. You played Los Angeles and it was all over YouTube that Pink got on stage with you in Los Angeles. How do you know Pink? I opened some shows for her in the UK. Really? Yeah. I met her through a mutual friend, like a small world kind of thing. She had a personal assistant for a while who was Australian. And Stu and I happened. Stu's a guy who's here that you can't see. But we knew her. And then Stu actually, I had recorded a live show in Toronto. And Stu was mixing it. And he sent it to our friend MJ to just like, hey, check these out. What do you think? And she was listening to it. And Alicia was there walking around and was like, what's this? And then she slowly became a.
a fan. That's awesome. Now we're pals. It's amazing. The only thing I'm worried about is feedback. I don't know. Do you think we're going to get feedback? Because I want the people in the room to be able to hear. Well, they'll be hearing it live. That's true. Yeah. That's right. They don't have the headphones on. I mean, their technology is pretty cool. I don't think what happens is that music comes through that guitar and then you hear the voice. That's right. That's right. That's how that works. I like how you do the whole like. The voice speech, and then you make me sing at 9.30 in the morning. Yes. He's very nervous. We all are. We're huge fans. We're a little tongue-tied. It's true. Hopefully I don't blow it. You won't. Okay, so what song are you going to do? I'm going to do an acoustic version of Fragile Bird. Right on. Right on. Let's hear it. Let's hear it. Switching. Yep. He's going over the other mic. I'm going to turn this on. And he's playing tonight at the House of Blues. It's all right. This is a very surreal moment. It's so surreal. Because I've been listening to his music for years and really dig it. We did the best we could with this chair thing that we... I don't know where we got this thing. Regular Carnegie Hall over there. And let's see if that mic is... Let's do a mic check on that. Nothing coming through here. Nothing coming through here. Wait. Nope. Nothing coming through. Microphone check. Checking. Yeah. Is there any way to get it louder?
Hey, check, check, check, check. Check, check, microphone. That sounds nice. All right. Ladies and gentlemen, Dallas Green and Sitting Color. Here we go. I'm looking over at them like, oh my gosh. Your voice is a very, very, very incredible instrument, man. Incredible instrument. He's playing tonight. That was... A very memorable moment in my life. My wife Jamie pulled the sleeves up and I looked at her arms and just goosebumps right when they started. So good. Dude, that was really good. And I would love to say, hey, tonight, it's sold out. It's sold out. Snooze, you lose. That's right. It's sold out. Okay. We will be right back.

Lauren. I'm all about the discount. Reviews. And Jay. Whenever I go to a party, I'll bring beer, but I bring beer for myself. On FM 94.9. All right. So this was a great moment off the air. Because off the air, Dallas Green is in the studio with us, and we're going to go see him tonight. House of Blues. And both, well, all of us. We love his music. There's this song called Day Old Hate from the first record that Woods and I really, really love. And Woods spent a month just trying to figure out. You can pull that microphone up. Yeah, that opener, that little, just that. And when he got it, he came in here and he was like, dude, dude, dude, I got it.
And he was doing that, and I was like, oh, wow. How'd you do that? That's a true story. And L.O.B. said it. We hear that song in here four times a week. We listen to it as we're prepping. We're getting ready in the morning, and we got Day Old Hate on. We're playing that. Well, now I've told you that the songs aren't hard. Well, so you say. Yeah. I mean, listen. I know some, I'm a very mediocre guitar player, but I look at tabs online and I look at your tabs sometimes and I go, you're a good finger picker. I think those tabs are incorrect. Really? I didn't do those. No, yeah, you didn't do them. You can never trust those. I would just go by ear and play what you want. Take me 16 years. I like what he said about that, though, because I'm trying to learn and I'm absolutely terrible. It's hard. My head will not wrap around. It's like trying to understand computer science to me. It's just a language that I don't speak. I think it's encouraging to tell people.
Kind of feel it out. Don't be discouraged if your brain's not working for that. But just listen and try and find the way it works for you. Well, there was a moment where Woods goes, you know, hey, is this right? And Dallas comes over. With his guitar. With his guitar. And he's like, it's like this. And the two of them are sitting there. And Dallas Green's teaching him how to play Day Old Hate. And I'm looking at it and I'm like, is my alarm going to go off? Just jamming out. Just jamming. Morning jam, Dallas called it. It's one of the greatest moments of my life. That was awesome. We need to get you some better moments. That's fair enough. That's fair enough. That is fair enough. It's just so great, and he's such a talented dude. Where were you guys last? We did two nights at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Wow, man. It was like a huge moment. That's a very historic place. Yeah, I'd played there before, and it's always been good. Just, I don't know. I always sort of imagined the idea that maybe people would one day listen to the music I make. But I always, especially growing up in Canada, I never thought I would be able to do it down here. You know what I mean? Yeah. Because I'm the kid born right before the internet. Yeah. So being a Canadian musician, everybody tells you, you've got to make it in the States. You've got to make it. Nowadays, it's not as much anymore because the internet helps you make it wherever people are.
You know, you can go wherever they're listening. But that was one of those moments where, like, during the second show, I was like, I can't believe this. Now, you said you played. Did you say you did play here with Alexis on fire or you've never played here a sitting color? I've played in San Diego like many times. But not a sitting color. Wow. And the first gig is House of Blues. Yeah. Sold out. Sold out. House of Blues. And that's pretty incredible, man. That's pretty incredible. Well, I'm excited. And I know people are excited to see this show tonight. Hillary, let's talk to Hillary real quick because I kind of want to let us go out on playing one of his songs. Sure. We'll play Dale Hay because that's the one that Woods was trying to learn. And Hillary. That was kind of cool, huh? It was so cool. And I was at the gym listening and I cut my workout short so I could, I like showered all quick so I could get here because I just really wanted to listen and hear it. So I'm glad I made it. But I didn't even stop in the studio. I have no CDs picked out. So I will, I'll go wing it. Okay. All right. Then we will go out on this song and Dallas.
Thank you for making it. I know you don't do this. I know you don't do the morning thing. And so it means a lot to us that you came out. I'd like to do the morning thing. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way. Well, thank you for doing it. And we'll see you tonight. I'm sure it's going to be a great show. And this is Day Old Hate.
