I did not hear illegal, so we got to do it. It's KBZT San Diego. How are you? The Mikey Show in the studio. We are live. And we speak jive. And we can cry. And drive. And drive. Thursday already. And I'm just going to tell you right now, Joe Paterno is going to take up a big portion of what we're talking about today because it's... The biggest story in the United States of America today. The biggest story. Transcend Sports is in and of itself the biggest news story that's happening today. Very quickly, I'm Mikey. That's Woodsy. That's L-O-B. And that's Jay. And our phone screener is Chris. It's Cross. It's Cross. I just...
Sent him a little message. And in the message, I said to him something that's true. I cannot think about it too much. Because if I do, I feel like I'm about to cry. And so I don't. I don't. I stop. And I go, okay. He's going. Okay. He's got to move on with life. Okay. Okay. And I just let him move on. But boy, do we love that kid, huh? Yep. We do. We love him so much. Sweet kid. Yes. The hard worker. Yes. That is the biggest understatement. Man, is he a hard worker. He is, and I love him. He's like our dad. He is. Well, there you go. We just love him. And today's his last day, so if you call today, make sure you wish him some love. Go to our Facebook page. Wish him some love on our Facebook page. The word of the day is kitchen between now and 10. When I do, caller 9, I'll give you lift tickets to Mammoth Mountain for the 12th, which is this weekend. So, nice. Solid. Very nice. Thanks. That was really loud, Mike. That's really loud. We, at 7.30 this morning, are going to do the shock chair. Did you know that, Woods? No. I didn't. I didn't either. I didn't. I didn't know.
And it's going to just... Oh, boy, that scares me. I don't see it in there, which means it'll probably be set up on the fly. Oh, perfect. Yeah, Jay created an electric chair. That has to be Hertz. Oh, yeah. It hurts. Good. Oh, yes. And we are going to... What do you do? Who asks the questions when we do that? This is a good question because I'd actually taken it off of the revised schedule. Yes. Thank you. Yes. Yes. Thank you. I am now not nauseated. Yes. The chair is actually firing too hard right now. Maybe we scrap this. No, no, no. I can turn it down. Can you? Yes, because I shocked myself yesterday when I was putting it together. It burned. Oh, gosh. So I'm putting a limiting capacitor on it. Back to the drawing board. Yeah, so maybe I didn't. I shocked myself so hard that maybe I didn't send the schedule to Lauren, but I took it off there. I was like, nope, not bringing that in today. Oh, my God. Gives one of us a heart attack. No. A third-degree burn on my arm. No, I thought it'd be fun to really soup it up, but no, it wasn't. I knew he was going to do that, too, soup it up. And I asked him not to. I won't, I won't. Well, I tested it on myself.
That guy. My children. M1HB in Scripps Ranch. What's up, girl? Hi, guys. First of all, I want to say goodbye to Chris. I'm going to miss here. He's a lovely boy. Love that guy. I love him. I also want to say happy birthday to the United States Marine Corps. Yes. Today they are 236 years old. Happy birthday. Hooray. Thanks to all those guys out there and women. That's right. And my other, oh, Mike, please don't scare us like you did yesterday. I know. We took a day off. You can't do that enough. People lost their minds. The last time you did that was when we lost our girl, Fiona. So we all kind of freaked out a little bit until we heard from Woods. Yeah. Yeah. Well, listen. Well deserved, Mike. Your day off. Yeah. Well, we all have a lot going on upstairs and, you know, we needed a little break. And, you know, for. Tuesday was a bittersweet day because we went to see the City in Colored show, which was great. Unfortunately, my wife and I also had to put our cat down that day. Oh, no. Yeah, and it was not good. It was really sad. And I'm not bringing everybody down. I'm just sharing my life with you. And, you know, so it's been tough, you know. But I feel better than I have in a long time. And, unfortunately.
You know, life happens around you. It just happens. And we had such a great, great night Tuesday. Yes. I laughed. We laughed so hard, all of us together with our significant others. You made... Woods made me laugh. He made me laugh one time when he first moved here. When he first moved here, you probably don't even know this, but we were... You just moved here, and... We were in the car, and you and your wife were in the back seat. My wife was in the passenger seat, and you were telling a story, and it made me laugh, and I was laughing, I was laughing, I was laughing so hard that I farted. You did it again at dinner? No, no, no. He did laugh that hard, though. He actually walked away from the table. And I laughed so hard that I farted, and I remember being extraordinarily... And no one knew. No one knew. And I remember thinking, oh, man. And luckily, there was nothing wrong in the car if you get my drift. If you get my drift. But Woods made me laugh harder than that. Tuesday night at House of Blues, just telling a story. And Jay's right. I had to get up from the table. And I had to just walk away. Because it was starting to become...
uncomfortable how hard I was laughing. It was hurting me. We were all laughing that hard. Yes. That was a good one. But anyway. Well, the main reason I was calling Mike, there was a main point to why me calling. Oh, okay. Our factor. Please, everybody go to fox5sandiego.com. Vote for Mikey. The other day, Fox 5 put on their page to vote for Jagger and Christy because they were behind. What? So I'm asking everybody to please go vote. You don't even have to do it through Facebook. You can go to challenge, C-H-A-L-L-O-N-G-E.com. Oh, wait. O or A? O. E. O. It's challenge. Oh, challenge. Go to challenge.com. You don't have to use your Facebook. You can sign up independently and vote there, too. Wow. So please vote for Mikey because we don't want them to win. Whatever happened to fair and impartial? Yeah, forget it. They've never been fair and impartial. Well, it's a thing that they're doing called The R Factor, and it's who's your favorite radio show. And so you can go there and vote. And right now they have, I think we're in the third round now. Or the second round? We're still in the third round. We've made it to the third round. There's not many left. There's four rounds left. It's the semifinals and finals. Wow. That's it.
And so I'm up against Christy from Jagger and Christy. And apparently you're also up against Fox 5. So just FYI. You're against them and you're against Fox 5. Yeah. I checked this morning you were up 61%, but I want the M1s to show Fox 5 what we do when you upset us. Yeah! Yes. Little angel. Now, I hope that this isn't why. But Fox 5 had invited us to come and broadcast from there. And we were going to. The only deal is, is that after we did some research on our end, it became increasingly hard to do with our engineering staff. Because our engineering staff is understaffed. They're putting in a whole new system in the radio station as well. Yeah. And so they... are busy, they've got a lot going on, and we couldn't do it. And I'd love to be able to do it at some point. But I hope that that's not what made them mad and that they're suggesting that Christy win because we upset them. Well, she's not going to win because the M1s are going to take care of it, and then you'll win, and then they'll have you on anyway. There you go. There you go. Well, thank you, and we love you, HB. Thank you. Love you guys. Bye. Thanks.
So we've got to talk about Joe Paterno. This is the biggest deal. If you don't know, Joe Paterno is the head football coach at Penn State and has been for how long, Woods? 60-some-odd years, 61 years. And this was the announcement made yesterday by Penn State. The Board of Trustees and Graham Spanier have decided that effective immediately, Dr. Spanier is no longer president of the university. Joe Paterno is no longer the head football coach, effective immediately. These decisions were made after careful deliberations and in the best interests of the university as a whole. Gosh darn, can you believe it? Oh my goodness. 67 years, Woods? 61 years. 61 years, two national titles. He is the winningest coach in college football history. Yeah.
It is, you know, I mean, the dude's been there forever. Yeah. Forever. Now, let's reset why. Okay. He had a defensive coordinator, Jerry Sandusky. Jerry Sandusky was the architect of some of the best defenses around. The two national titles they won were under Jerry Sandusky's defense. Jerry Sandusky was also supposed to be the heir apparent to Joe Paterno. Jerry, when I go, I give it to you, right? Well. Jerry Sandusky retired years ago and was involved with allegedly molesting and raping a lot of young boys. I believe there's eight boys. There's 40 counts against him. I believe he's in custody right now. He may be out on bail, but I believe he's in custody. He was arrested earlier this week. It hurts your heart so bad. Some of the most hideous details in a grand jury report that you could ever imagine reading. It's horrific. Now, Joe Pa is definitely a fall guy. I mean, it's one of those deals where everybody's got to go. You've got to just clean house. Why is he in trouble? He's in trouble. Well, legally, he's not in any trouble yet. Now, they're saying, hey, this isn't over by any stretch of the imagination. He could still eventually.
get in some trouble depending if they can find out um what he knew and how when he knew it so in 2002 there was a graduate assistant who is now their recruiting coordinator and assistant head coach um now i want to warn people if you're listening it's there is uh and you don't have to go on anything i won't yeah i won't i won't go into the detail that we talked about but if you're listening I just want you to know the details of this news story are just horrific. Mike McQuarrie is his name. He came in to the Penn State, essentially the gym locker room, and witnessed Jerry Sandusky engaged in a sexual act with what appeared to be a 10-year-old boy. Heard it, saw it with his own eyes.
Goes and tells, he calls his father. His father says, well, you need to get over here right now. Now, the logic there is? Protection. Protection, because if this guy, Jerry Sandusky, who is molesting this boy, saw you, and according to this guy, McQuarrie, he did see him. They saw each other. The kid even looked at him. And he goes and calls his dad. His dad is concerned for his safety because he's thinking, Jerry Sandusky might hurt you because he doesn't want you to tell anybody what you just witnessed. Right. So they go over. They tell. So he goes over to his dad's house, and they figure the best course of action is to tell Joe Paterno. So they do. They tell Joe Paterno. I didn't know this until this morning. Joe Paterno. Never questioned Jerry Sandusky about it, ever. And that's according to Joe's son, Scott. Scott said, my dad never asked Jerry Sandusky about the incident. What Joe did was he reported it to his superiors. Now, at the time, Sandusky was retired, yet had full access to everything that Penn State had to offer. He had an email address there. He had an office. He had access to the gym. He worked out at Penn State a week ago. He was in the gym lifting weights, okay?
That's the problem. Therein lies the problem with. So you got to think about this because I just want it to be in perspective. And, you know, I have really struggled with what I think about it. I don't feel anything but compassion for Joe Paterno. And I know some people don't agree with that. Joe Paterno went to his superior and reported it. At the time, the guy was not on Joe Paterno's staff. He simply had access to the. And Joe Paterno turned him in to his boss. The criticism is, why didn't you call the police? And Joe Paterno has even himself said, I should have done more. Now, before everybody puts him on a spit and starts to, you know, roast him, you know, I guess all I'm asking is...
You really do have to place yourself in the same position. It's easy to say, oh, yeah, why didn't you do more? But think about this, because I heard this this morning. If you were a father and your son called you and he said, Dad, this is what I just saw. Woods, would you do what that father did and say, get over here? Yes. No question. So would I. Get your butt over here now. Absolutely. Because I would fear that my son would be a victim. You know, like this guy's going to, he saw you. Right. He wants to hurt you. What wouldn't you do to keep that out of the freaking paper? What wouldn't you do? Exactly. If you're Jerry Sandusky. And so this morning I'm listening to the radio and I'm hearing, hey, the father is bad too. Because. He told the son, come over here. What he should have told the son is you go in there and make sure that 10 year old is safe. And when I heard that, I went, oh, well, yeah. Oh, that does. But it hadn't occurred to me. Right. You know, I thought that's a good dad. Get out of there. Get safe. And it's so what my point here is, is that it's very easy to be a passive and totally uninvolved observer.
And say, you should do this. You should do this. You should do this. Because I can tell you as honestly as possible, when I heard it, I thought, oh, yeah, that's a great idea. I didn't think of it, but that's a great idea. And I'm thinking to myself, Joe Paterno went to his superiors and turned in a guy that wasn't on his staff. And there is criticism of him like, well, you monster. Why didn't you call the police? One of the things that really bothers me about what's going on with Joe Paterno is that we're vilifying him. And this monster was doing this to kids. Yeah. Not Joe Paterno, this other guy. And it's like we're all getting lost in, you know, and not only are we getting lost, I also feel like, you know, Joe Paterno is someone's father. And, you know, he's not a creep. Yeah. You know? He's not a creep, okay? Because by definition, a creep is the guy that's in that shower with that little boy. Right. But letting that guy be there for the next 10 years, not saying anything, that's a freaking problem. My thing is, what if he trusted Jerry for all these years? The graduate assistant, he doesn't know if he's just saying it because he's got a personal thing. So he's like, I'm going to get it.
you know, out of my hands because I didn't see it. It's hearsay. And I'm going to go to the Superior and see how they want to handle it. Yeah. Why not ask? Why not ask Jerry? Why not ask Jerry Sandusky, who was your number two? Why not confront him? Dude, here's the other thing. You know, again, that is a very, it's an easy thing to say now. Everybody is different. I know if it was my dad, my dad is so old school. My dad's 76 years old. My dad would be like, that's disgusting. That's disgusting. What is this guy? Freaking creep? Yeah. Would my dad think and have the wherewithal to be like, I'm calling 911. Would your dad ask him, though? Wouldn't your dad say, hey, what's your problem? Maybe my dad comes from the day and age where when you hear about creepy stuff like that, you tell your boss. And then you wash your hands of it. Freaking creep. Maybe. I mean, maybe, but. This guy's working out in the Penn State gym last week. That's a problem. I guess it's just easy for us to say, it's so hideous, man. You hear it and you just, it's so hideous. You know? It is hideous. It really is. This guy has caused, I heard somebody say this morning, he ruined Penn State. Yeah. He ruined Penn State. It's just awful. 570-1949. What do you think?
What do you think? Is Joe Paterno... Is he at fault? Should he be held partially responsible for this? Because it went on since... It's been going on since then, too. Why didn't the graduate assistant stop what was happening? Right. That's a strange thing to not instinctively... Maybe if I was in the same situation... Maybe you see it and you're like, oh, my God. Yeah. You're kind of traumatized. That I get. I almost get that. Yeah. I get that. Like you're kind of traumatized, you know. But like there should have been a meeting. There should have been a meeting between. The problem here was the cover up. So this guy, this quote got me this morning. It's from John Salveson. He's the former president of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Survivors Network of those abused by priests. was to protect the reputation of the institution and the perpetrator. That sums it up. There was a cover-up by the athletic director, the president, all of whom are now gone and probably going to jail for this cover-up. You're saying he doesn't have any part of it? He's the main boss?
I mean, not Joe Paterno. Those main boss people? Yeah, dude. Like, that's wrong. If it stops with them? Yes. I mean, they're the ones that are supposed to be responsible for it. You know what I mean? Like, everybody's got a boss. But I don't want what I don't want. And I don't have a problem with Joe Paterno. I don't. I think it's really sad. It's really sad. This is what he'll be remembered for. And I think, but I don't. There's a part of me that's like. What? I didn't know. Like, there's part of me that just doesn't buy that, dude. I just can't wrap my arms around. I didn't get it. I don't know. I did what I was supposed to do. I don't get it. Like, if he could sleep at night knowing that that was going on. And really, I don't know that he did, dude. I don't know that he knew that after he turned the guy in, that it was, you know, and he didn't see it for himself. I mean, dude, I mean, there's a lot of people, I think, especially maybe from that generation. that some kid comes to him and says, this is what I saw. I think that there's a lot of guys that would be like... There's no way you saw that. There's no way you saw... And I wouldn't do a thing. Wouldn't do a thing. And Joe Paterno went to his bosses and said, here's what this guy said happened. And then you hope and you trust that they're going to take care of business. I didn't see it for myself.
Yes. So I can't accuse the guy. Yeah. And I can't go to the police because I didn't see it for myself. I didn't see it. You need to talk to so-and-so who saw it. Yeah, I mean, I can buy that. I mean, what about the dad? What about the dad that was told? How come you didn't call the police? You called Joe Paterno. You agree he should be gone, though. Joe Paterno? Yeah. Well, only because... I don't think that he's effective as a coach anymore. I mean, he's just an old guy. But I don't think that he should be fired for this. I feel sorry for him. I feel really bad for him. Actually, this year, dude, they're freaking 8-1. They're only losses to Alabama. They're in the top 15 in the polls. M1, Duntastic from Pacific Beach. Yeah, good morning, Mikey. How are you? Good. Now, I mean, I grew up in Philly. My little sister graduated from Penn State. I love Penn State. That being said, I really think he should have gone further, and it should have been reported higher than that. Yeah, there's a lot of people saying that, man. If Woods came to you and said that he witnessed something like that... I'd go straight to my boss. I'd go straight to... Or would you go to the police? Dude, I'm telling you the truth. It wouldn't even dawn on me.
To call the police. And I am. Hang on. What if an intern told you that about Woods? Yes. Here's the deal. I'm telling you. And I am a person that has myself been abused. Okay. If somebody told me something like that. As much as I love Woods. I got to go to my boss. Now I don't know what their relationship is like. Knowing my relationship. And how close I am with Woods. I'm pulling him over and I'm going. You sick bastard. You better get yourself some help and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But, dude, it would be like a... It would be like, yeah, I'd go to my boss and it would be tough. See, Joe didn't even do that, though. Joe didn't do the, hey, you sick bastard. I don't know. That's coming from his son. His son wasn't with him 24 hours a day. His son doesn't know what he did and what he didn't do. I'm sure Scott Paterno knows that his dad didn't talk to him. No, he does not know that. He's not with him 24-7. He has no idea. What if his dad calls him and says, hey, Scott?
You know, I actually did talk to him about it. I talked to him about it at this restaurant. Oh, Dad, I didn't know. I didn't think you talked to him. I don't think he'd come out half-cocked like that if he didn't know that his dad never talked to him. Obviously, that's a bigger problem. If he did talk to him and that guy's lifting weights there last week, Joe's out. I mean, you should be hung if he did know that. If I find out that's true. The guy denied. Hey, Joe, you know me. You know me. Who walks away? Bigger question is who walks away from a little kid being abused? Bro, bro. I'm telling you that this was a college kid. And, you know, if he sees that, you're not going to have grace enough to go. He sees that, and he goes, holy cow, and he gets scared, and he's traumatized himself. And he runs. I called 911 right then while I'm standing there looking at this guy. I called 911. I go, look, you're staying right here. And then the kid, you're all over it. It's hindsight. Hindsight. It's so easy to be like, this is what I would do. I'm a man. That's like seeing a rape and walking away from it. That's true. I would have called 911. You have to. 570-1949. I want to know what you think. Oh, yes.

Don't really like to swim, unlike most Latinos. Woods. I can put down a 20-pack of chicken nuggets.
No problem. Lauren. I got a little pepper up my nose. Had to sneeze. And Jake. No, I didn't cry. Come on, man. On FM 94.9. Woods just made a great point. Woods just made a great point. Okay. It looks like a duck. It quacks like a duck. It sounds like a duck. It's probably a duck. Now, I say probably a duck. And what I mean by that is that this guy Jerry Sandusky from Penn State that they're accusing of molesting kids. Probably did. However, he hasn't been. He's been arrested. He hasn't been tried. He's maintaining his innocence through his attorney. Right. I mean, he hasn't been tried. Casey Anthony was not guilty, right? Casey Anthony was not guilty. OJ was not guilty. Right. But you know what Casey Anthony and OJ were entitled to? Defense. They were entitled to a trial. Right. Due process in this case.
is out the window. I mean, the president gone, the athletic director gone, the head coach gone. No due process. Check this out. This is all I'm saying. What if, and I'm just throwing this out there as a what if, what if the guy that claims that he saw this came forward and said, I can't live with what this has turned into. I lied. I never saw anything. I'm just saying, what if that happened? Now Joe Paterno's been fired. So's the athletic director. Everybody's been fired. The school's reputation has been tarnished. It's in the garbage can already. And I'm just saying like, gosh darn. Do you guys remember freaking Duke Lacrosse? Oh yeah. When Duke Lacrosse, that story broke about those three Duke Lacrosse players raping a girl. I was like, you spoiled little punks. You guys ruined your life. You're douchebags. Right. Not guilty. Not freaking guilty. Not guilty. And me, I was waving the flag. You little rich lacrosse. Right. You know, like they didn't do anything. Right. They did nothing wrong. The president resigned in this case, though. Right. Fire. Fire. Oh, yeah. The board of trustees voted him out and Joe Pa said after this season, I'm done. And we're like, oh, no, actually, you're done. Right. You're done today. Tonight. Yeah. It's. Oh, it's gnarly. I'll tell you. The thing that just.
That just strikes such a chord with me is that, you know, I went, you know, I've said on the radio that this happened to me when I was a kid. When I was a kid, I was abused and I told someone and they didn't do a thing about it. And all I can say is I wish that Joe Paterno had existed in my life at the time, because at least I know Joe Paterno told someone. He got the ball rolling. On the whole thing. Yes. And here's the thing, like, if I'm a manager or in some sort of managerial position, you know, as a coach is seen as an authority figure, someone tells me, my thought would be, okay, I'm going to follow due process here and I'm going to go up to my superior. I wouldn't think that's a horrible accusation to make against somebody. Disgusting. If you didn't see it yourself and you don't have any evidence. And that's the thing, you know, during the commercial break I said, I think L.O.B. She put it perfectly, man. She goes, even when he's reporting it, he's got to be saying, listen, I didn't see this for myself. But here's what I've been told. I mean, call the police? Yeah, I guess if anybody should have called the police, it should have been this kid that witnessed it. But I also say, I try to put myself in that position. You come in.
You don't you hear this noise. You're like, what the heck is going on? You see it. It would probably make my heart explode because I'd be so scared. You want to throw up. You want to throw like you're just scared. Now, that would be my reaction. Fear. Now, some people go, not me. What my reaction would be is to beat the dude up and then put on and take my. Well, first I take my cape off and, you know, because I'm Superman. And then I would run in there and I would. punch the guy through the tile, and then I would pick up the phone, and as the music crescendoed, I would call the police and turn him in. At the worst, at the bare minimum, he is guilty. Joe Paterno is guilty of indifference. Indifference, I think. I think he is. I don't think indifference because he reported it. But he has come out and said, his quote was, look, I feel terrible. I should have done more. Well, now in hindsight, it's easy to say, oh, I guess I should have escalated it. He said it's one of the great sorrows of my life. This is a tragedy. With the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more. That's a dude that's feeling very guilty. I would, too. I would, too. I'm saying. I mean, here he's turned the guy in, and now in hindsight, he's like, I should have done more. I should have done more. This guy Sandusky.
was banned. Yeah, this is key. Now that he hears that there's 40 counts, eight victims, he's like, man, I wish that I would have done more. Listen, Penn State banned this guy Sandusky from having youth sports camps on Penn State's campus and from bringing children to the school's football facilities. That means that they knew this guy's a threat to kids. And this is in 2002. No more youth sports camps here, Jerry. No more. And no more seeing you around here with kids. No more. And that's in 2002. That's crazy. 570-1949. We have M1 attorney from San Diego on the line. Are you there? Go ahead. I'm sharing a minor point. The point that Woods made over the break is absolutely wrong. Due process, as far as Sandusky being taught to a trial, that's still working its way through the court. But the due process for Paterno, for the president of the university, that's all guided by contract. That's all guided by their employment contract. And as far as we can tell, I'm sure the board of trustees looked at the contract, looked at what was required to fire Paterno and the president with cause, and that made a decision to stop the bleeding, consulted with their lawyers, and due process in that regard has happened. Yeah, I misspoke. What I meant was it's pretty crazy that all these guys get canned now before there's even a trial.
That's me saying due process. I do, too. Saying due process, me trying to act like I know what I'm talking about, which I obviously don't. But I do know that it's odd. I would think that, too. It's odd that they say, hey, you know what? We're going to clean house now, and this guy's going to have his trial later. Yeah. I mean, I agree, too. I would want to. I'd be like, put the guy on trial before you can. Thank you. M1 Pablo from San Diego. What do you think? Pablo, are you there? Hello. Go ahead. I think that's the way I look at it. I put it back on you, Mikey. Let's say you came into work and one of your co-workers told you they saw this. How far would you bring it and feel comfortable with that? I'd go to my boss. I'd go to my boss and I'm telling you, man, here's what I can offer you. All I can offer you is the truth and an honest answer. I'll tell you that in general, I'm a fearful person. In general, I am...
You know, I'm fearful. But it's not about you. It's about the kids. No, I know. Hey, dude, I know. And if I heard that, I would report it. I'd report it to my boss. And I'll tell you this, too. I'll tell you this, too. With that being said, here's who else I am. I'm the guy that doesn't do things when I'm supposed to. And somebody goes, how come you didn't do this? And then I go. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, that's a good idea. Like, that's who I am. That's a true statement. And I don't know. I just, you know, and I feel so bad because I do things like that all the time. Somebody would be like, you mean you didn't send them a thank you card for that? And I'm like, oh, no. Am I supposed to? You know, like, I don't know. You know, and I'm being genuine with you. I'm being genuine. DJ, right? He is a coach and an educator for over, what, 60 years? And he doesn't know? He did, bro. He went to his boss and turned this guy in, and the guy didn't even work for him. The guy didn't even work for him. It's against the law, though. How do you know? You just found that out. So did I. What? So did Woods. I'm just saying abusing a little boy. But it's an allegation. It's not something that he saw. You didn't see it, you know? If it's reported, you have to go to the wall. Bro, he went to the wall. He went to his boss. Hey, boss. He went to his boss. And his boss decided to cover it up. No, no, no, no, no.
He didn't say, hey boss, this is what I saw. Because he didn't see anything. This is what I heard. This is what I heard. You know, I mean. Well, let's get that guy in here. He ran at school. Not the president. Not the provost. He ran. No question. He's the biggest thing in Happy Valley ever. He had more power there than anybody. Ever. You don't chase it. But I mean, imagine if he had gone to the police and not consulted the president. He would have had hell to pay there. You just go with this allegation. You didn't see it yourself. I mean, it's kind of one of those you're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't. When I'm sitting with a guy who's telling me this story and he goes, this is what I saw. I'm like, sit right here. Hold on. Let's call the police. Hello. Yeah, I've got a guy here that says this is what he saw. Sounds good to me. Yeah, sounds good. Sounds great. Sounds good to me. And I think in hindsight, that's what he would have done. I think now if he had it to do over again, he would have done it that way. And dude, here's what I don't think about Joe Paterno. I don't think that Joe Paterno is this guy. When I hear things about abuse to children, I really don't care about kids. Right.
I really don't care about kids. I don't care about their wealth. I don't care about their wealth. I don't think that's who he is. I don't either. Apparently it is. No, it's not, bro. He went to his one boss and just said, hey, this is what I saw. I didn't see it, but this is what I heard. And he's like, oh, hands washed. So do you believe this? Do you believe this? Do you believe that Joe Paterno doesn't care about kids and their welfare? It appears that way. It appears that maybe his program. His program took precedence. It was more important. In protecting his program and what he'd built for 50 years at that time. If that were true, he wouldn't have gone to his superiors. Yeah. Why even wait to go to your superiors when you know something's wrong? You don't. You didn't see it yourself. But you've got the guy sitting right here talking to you. He's like, okay, dude, this is what you need to do right now. But we don't even know what that guy was able to... I mean, that guy hasn't... He issued a statement saying, here's what I saw. But the statement of what kind of conversation he had with Joe, I mean, who knows if he was like, oh, well, now that you ask me, I don't know. I don't know. Maybe I didn't see it. Why didn't that guy go farther with it is a question as well. I mean, that guy should be held more accountable to Joe Pa. M1, cave dweller from Wisconsin. What's going on? Hey, guys.
juicy topic. It's the biggest thing going on in the news today. Every single media outlet, and the truth be known, if radio didn't exist and television didn't exist, but we knew about this, this is what we would be talking to one another about today. Sitting over at Denny's. Absolutely. We were talking about it off the air. There was something that you said earlier, and maybe I caught it out of context, but it kind of bothered me a little bit. You know, Today is the Marine Corps birthday, and one of the biggest things that we always talk about is integrity and doing the right thing regardless. And, you know, you talked about, you know, taking your cape off and charging in there and trying to punch this guy and knocking him through the tile. Absolutely. Whether you're 5'0", 130 pounds, 70 pounds. That's easy for a trained Marine to say. It's easy for a Marine to say. Are you a Marine cave dweller? Yes. Yeah, you know. How much effort does it take to call 911 is my point. You don't have to have a cape and a punch and, you know. Nobody's a bigger cyclone than I am. I would have probably run out of the room. I would have been so freaking freaked out. I don't think you would have. Well, I might have come back. I might have come back. But my initial reaction would have been, ah! Right. I mean, this is a guy that, I mean, that guy's probably traumatized.
That saw it. He's probably traumatized. It's freakish. And none of us know how we react in certain situations. I personally would like to think that even as a 5'7 woman that I would be like, get your hands off of him. You'd probably be more inclined to do that, by the way, because you wouldn't be thinking. Who knows? Who knows? But this is what I will say. This is what I will say. I don't think that it makes me a P word to be honest and say it would scare the crap out of me. Dude, it's not like, okay, the chances of me leaving this studio today and seeing a woman getting mugged, hit a fist fight, those are good. There's a good chance that on my way home I'll see that. The chance of me seeing a 10-year-old boy being raped in a shower, not very good. That's right. And that's like seeing a freaking... You know, Haley's Comet. It's crazy. And Cave Dweller, I will say this to you. By the way, if I see an old woman on the side of the road and there's something happening, I can definitively tell you this. And maybe somebody else would say, I wouldn't, I'd be afraid to. But I can definitively tell you this. I would stop and aid that woman. I can definitively tell you that. Definitively, yeah. Yes. Would you cape?
Punching him through a wall. Hey man, all I'm telling you is, all I can say is, all I can say is, uh, I know for sure in that situation, in the other situation where you're just like, and you're seeing something, you know, I mean, it's, it's, he's right. I mean, you're talking about, it is a little kid and I love kids. It isn't a Jay, you know, if you're saying to me, I don't care about kids and that I don't care about their welfare. That's not true. The truth is I do. And you know, Mikey, I know that you care about kids, and I know that this is close to you because this happened to you, but this isn't, I mean, it's a cynical kind of statement to make. Whether you get your ass kicked or whether you're the one kicking ass, it's about that kid. And what I say is, and what I say is, that is a very easy thing for you, trained Marine, to say, you know, Just hearing the story passively. I mean, this guy wasn't a... He was a scared kid who went into his office and called his dad. He called his freaking daddy. That's how scared he was. He called his daddy the first call. He called his dad. And his dad was afraid for him and said, come over. He was a football player. Who cares? A hundred pound person who practiced violence on a weekly basis. Bro, listen. That's also a guy he knew and probably was coached under. You know, and it was probably, Cave Dweller, again.
so freaking shocking. So shocking that he couldn't pull the trigger. Well, of course. No kidding. No kidding. Imagine how shocking it was. To the other eight kids that it happened to. I mean, dude. It's freaking horrendous. Right. This guy is a monster. He's a monster, this guy, Jerry Sandusky. If it's true, he's a monster. But I think, you know, gosh, it bothers me so much. It feels good to say, I'm going to take the belt to that guy. And listen. I would like to think that I would. I would like to. I think that you guys would. I think, honestly. I don't know, man. You don't know until you're there. As an educator, too, you know that it's a criminal offense, and your job is to protect those kids. When it comes into your office, it doesn't matter. You, as an educator, know that it was a criminal offense, and you have to report it to the authorities. That is plain and simple. That's probably right. Listen, I appreciate...
I appreciate it, Cave Dweller, and your point's been made, and I appreciate it. Happy birthday, Marines. I just think we're maybe persecuting the wrong person here. A hundred percent. Absolutely. The focus needs to be on the guy that did it. You bet. And the fact that Joe Paterno went to his superiors with something that he didn't see and reported what he heard, I think is evidence of somebody that was trying to do something. And now, he's... extraordinarily guilt-ridden that he didn't do more because he's like, oh gosh, what have I done? That, to me, is the heart of someone that isn't a monster. He's not. But by not reporting it correctly, he allowed it to happen more. Yeah, and it probably did happen more. He could have shut it down and stopped people from being hurt, but instead he's like, is my program more important? I mean, that's what it kind of seems like to me. I don't think his program was more important because... He turned him in. But didn't they say they've been building a case on this guy for three years? Three years. So they weren't even able to nab him right away. I mean, it took time to build up that case. I mean, who knows if it would have stopped? You can't just say. Well, L.A.B., three years ago is 2008. Right. Okay? This incident went down in 2002. Wow. So, you know, again, if this scandal comes out in 2002. Yeah.
You never know. Something may have been stopped. Sooner's always better. This is some raw audio of the student protests that were happening because the students at Penn State were very upset that Joe Paterno was fired. And he was fired over the phone. Yeah. See, that's lousy. Well, I thought so too, and then I read, and they said, listen, if... If Joe Pa had come on campus, there would have been a riot. He goes, we wanted, obviously, to do it in person. We couldn't. Couldn't they go to his house? There were people in his yard, dude. There were 200 students in Joe's yard. If there was ever a time to go to a guy's home, 200 people in his yard. Okay. How are they going to get through there? They're going to get killed.
They hadn't fired him? Didn't they get in his yard after it was announced he was fired? No. People have been coming by Joe's house, dropping off baskets, giving him gifts. When he said, I want to coach another year, people... flocked to him. He did an assembly. Well, since we're all getting to talk about what we should have done, here's what I would have done as his boss. I would have thought that 61 years of service was good enough to get me to muscle my way through a concert audience and get to his door and come in and fire him. That's so beside the freaking point. It's so beside the point. It's just a respect thing. Since we're talking about what I would have done. Well, I mean, again, Beside the point, there's eight victims out there that are the important people. Joe is not the person that should be on trial, and we're all right about that. Jerry Sandusky is the guy that has a special room reserved for him down below. I think everybody's fired up at the heinous crimes at hand, so you want to just blame everybody around him. M1 Penn State alumni from San Marcos.
fellas and ladies how are you good great man this is just there isn't a whole lot about being a penn state alumni that's brought me to tears in a bad way gosh darn man i echo everything you guys say that you know i don't agree with the way that he went but who it's easy for us to stay sitting here in our comfy cars and offices how we would have done things and you know Could Joe have done more in my mind? Probably. But at the same time, this is a guy that he's known for 20-some years that he wouldn't, just like you and I, wouldn't expect him to do it. And let me tell you something, man. Being on that campus, there are strong academics and strong other sports. That school's not football. School, man. Oh, yeah, dude. My sister-in-law's an alumni as well. Yeah, mom. Listen, phone lines are blowing up. This is the topic of the day, 570-1949. And this is what I will ask you, you know, because everybody's, you know, if you're of the mind that says, well, if I saw that, this is what I would have done. If I was Joe Pa, this is what I would have done. And this is what I will say to you, those of you that say, this is what I would have done. What did you do the last time that someone told you?
the exact same thing that Joe Paterno was told. The last time someone came to you, I mean, it's real easy. You can figure out what you would have done. Just ask yourself, well, the last time someone told me that someone was in the shower and that this is what they saw and blah, blah, blah, what did I do the last time? The Mikey Show. That's not a word. With Mikey. I wear like a 44 small. Woods. I'm so lonely. Lauren. I'm very clumsy. And Jay. I'm wearing Dockers right now. Oh, my God. On FM 94.9. Woods, what is that that you just said about one of the parents? Yeah, two of the parents of the alleged victims have lashed out at really their biggest beef is with McQueary, one of the moms of Victim 6. says, quote, I don't even have words to talk about the betrayal that I feel. McQuarrie was a grown man. He saw a boy being sodomized, and he ran and called his daddy. Yeah, that's from the victim's mama. And Jerry Sandusky was a volunteer football coach at this high school, Central Mountain High School, and molested one of the boys there. Victim won. And he, the kids started acting out, and Sandusky told the mother, listen, let me handle the discipline.
And the mother said, absolutely not. That's my child. And then the son broke down, told the police, told the principal of that school that this was going on. Apparently, man, this guy, Jerry Sandusky, was so brazen and did this, obviously, so out in public and just had no regard for... It's almost like the dude wanted to get caught, if all these stories are true. Volunteer coach, doing it at school, doing it at Penn State, in the locker room. He's probably thinking, you don't know who I am. Yeah, I'm Jerry Sandusky. You can't touch me. And like we all just said at the break, this isn't over by a long shot. I mean, this is like, unfortunately, disgustingly, the tip of the iceberg. Yeah. There's going to be so much that comes out about this. 570-1949. If you go to our Facebook page right now. It is facebook.com slash Mikey show. And if you go there right now, Jay just posted the deal for the R factor. So if you want to vote for us as your favorite morning show, you can do that. They're showing on television the riots. Tearing down light poles. In Penn State. At Penn State. Flipping over. Flipping an ambulance. Is that an ambulance? Sorry, a news truck. News truck. Wow.
Oh, boy. Yeah, I mean, the whole thing is, it's really, really gotten out of control. Again, biggest news of the day. Joe Paterno's been fired as the Penn State head coach. And again, you know, even with that mom that's upset at the kid that saw it, I feel that that is displaced anger. It's just my opinion. I think it's displaced anger. The anger should be at that monster. You know, man, I hear you, but I'll tell you what. It reminds me of something that happened to me. And when I was in Chicago, I've told this story before, when I got beat up, I got mugged, I got jumped and almost killed. Apparently, I had a really bad concussion. I walked back to my apartment, and there was a doorman that worked, like a security guy, and he worked at the front door. And they have me on tape talking to this.
this guy. And he was like, dude, do I need to call an ambulance or the cops? And I said, no, I don't need to. I don't need to. I'm good. I'm fine. I was beat to hell. I had a broken elbow, busted nose, broken nose. And the guy just let me go up and go to bed. And we were there a few weeks ago with my dad. And my dad goes, you know, I still want to kill that guy. That guy at the front desk that didn't call the cops. Or didn't call the cops and didn't call the ambulance for you. Because I could have died. I mean, I could have gone upstairs and died. Ten years later, my dad's like, I still want to murder that guy for not freaking calling somebody when you were obviously beat to hell. And I understand. I understand, man. It's displaced anger, but I think my dad had a right to be angry, and I think those mothers have a right to be angry, too. I do, too. Because they were right there. Think that too. But this kid went and called his dad. His dad said, come over here. I don't want this guy to try to kill you because you saw it. And we said this morning, I said, Woods, as a dad, would you do that? Yes, I would do that. But the kid was protecting himself and not the victim. The kid was freaked out, man. Dad should have said, all right, we're doing this now. Dad, it's up to dad to say, that guy should be blamed at fault too and say, you know what?
Now we're calling the cops. I mean, it's just. Don't you think if Luke came to you and said, dad, this is what happened. Dude, Luke, we're calling the cops and I'll do it with you. I'm here with you. Yeah. I just can't imagine witnessing a crime and not stepping in. I mean, in the very least calling 911. I just can't imagine doing that. I mean, apparently it happens a lot. A lot of people don't step in. You know, I don't know why the human mind works the way that it does. I don't know why. I mean, I've seen countless 2020 episodes where they show hidden footage of, you know, they planted a kid getting like taken by somebody and have the little kid screaming, this isn't my dad. Help me. Help me. And people are just looking at it like, this is crazy. It's unbelievable. And they're like, whoa, this is crazy. And they're just walking away, you know, and. You look at that and you're sitting there with a soda in your hand and you're watching this on 2020 and you're shaking your head and you're like, what a bunch of freaking monsters. What a bunch of P-words. And what we fail to realize is that we're all human beings. And listen, I don't know why the mind works the way that it does. And I know that everyone's different. And this is coming from somebody that was abused myself.
If I go into a place and I hear somebody screaming for help and I witness them being stabbed, I'm calling 911. It's my instant reaction. People associate sex. You know, the kid wasn't screaming for help. He couldn't have been. I understand. Listen. Okay. Right. I understand that. If the kid is going, help me, help me. My instant thought is, holy cow, call 911. This kid is being, you know, I'm just, all I can give you is what's in my head. You know, and I think that this guy knew that something bad was happening and he was scared. And, you know. Again, it's that thing of like, it's not something you're going to see every day. It's not something you're going to see in five lifetimes. It's Haley's. Calm it is. It's worth a 9-1-1. I mean, what if the guy went so far as to next kill the kid? I know. It is worth a 9-1-1 call. It's a very plausible next step. If the kid is screaming, help me, help me, you know, you go in there and you don't know. First of all, you don't know what's happening. You're shocked. How could you not know that that's wrong, though? You're shocked. I think that you're shocked. You're shocked and you maybe walk away for five minutes and then call 9-1-1. You're definitely not talking about me. Well, I'll tell you this, man. I'll tell you this. I'm not.
I'm not for the abuse of children. Oh, I know that. But I think a lot of people are like, it's too big of a problem for me to take on. I don't want to be in the middle of it. I would never make excuses for those people. I think they're just as guilty. If you walk away from it, you're just as guilty. I don't think just as guilty because he tried to do something. He let it happen. I don't know. For me, it's like that kid could have been killed next. It's a crap situation. M1. Just crap. Surf Tiki, is that right? From Spring Valley. What's going on? And I think it's funny that everybody's looking at Paterno, who heard about it, and we're not talking about the guy who saw it and did the same thing Paterno did. We are. That's what we're talking about right now. That's what we're talking about now, man. I mean, people are... The moms, the victim, victim six, his mother, that's her biggest beef is with McQueary. The guy that saw it. Even past the moral obligation to protect children. Who knew that? I didn't know that. I didn't know that. You mean as a teacher and a coach? Jay.
Did you know you were supposed to call CPS? If you see a grown man in a shower with a kid naked? Yes. Yes, absolutely. No, you did not. I absolutely. Really? You don't know to call the police when you see a grown man. I would call the police. No, dude. Wait, hang on. You can't tell me if I'm wrong. Hang on. He's saying calling the police? You've done the wrong thing. It doesn't matter. Because you know what they're going to do? They're going to say, we're going to call this in. No, Jay. Did you hear what he just said? I heard exactly what he said. Tell me what he said. He said call the CPS. Did you know you were supposed to? No. I didn't either. But I would call the cops. Okay, great. I'm asking you, did you know you were supposed to call CPS? No. But you know who's going to tell me that? The police when I call them. But he's a teacher and a coach. Yeah, he's a teacher and a coach. They are trained. I think he's legally obligated. Oh, okay. So what you're saying is that... We, the average citizen, is not. I don't think we're held accountable to that standard. I think he's saying he's trained as a teacher. We legally have, well, in Pennsylvania, they legally have to call the police and they didn't because, like you said, they probably didn't know. You know who knows that, though? The police, I'm sure, know that. So when you call them and report, hey, I saw something really strange going on. Well, it's a moot point because we, the average citizen.
We don't call CPS. But he's saying Joe Paterno was also a coach. So shouldn't he know if there's a Pennsylvania standard as well? But he didn't see anything. Again. If you call for the suspicion, you are protected. If you suspect it or hear about it, you call. You don't have to know. You don't have to prove. You're an educator protecting kids. Yeah. Oh, yeah. There's no winners in this deal. None. M1 Armin from Oceanside. Hey, I have to agree with Jay on this one. Joe didn't do enough, and obviously the guy that walked in on it didn't do enough either. I know hindsight is 20-20, and it might be being a little dead horse by now, but you've got to just react when you see something. I mean, Mikey, you being a dad, say if somebody was doing something so heinous to your son, you're not going to go and call your wife. You're just going to react, and then you're going to take care of business, and then you're going to call the cops. Well, yeah, and I was asking myself, what if this was my kid? Who would I be angry at?
And maybe I would be angry at this kid that was scared and ran and called his dad. But I don't, I'm just telling you, me, I think I would have grace for him. And I would want the monster that did this to my kid put in jail the rest of his life. Yeah, Sandusky would be the guy. I think first and foremost that's the guy. But I think it should call attention to citizens and the community that it takes a village. It does. And we should be more. Stepping. I mean, we're too afraid to step on, you know, don't get in other people's business. But if all this is coming down on Joe, it's got to, sorry to cut you off, Lauren. If all this is coming down on Joe, it's got to come down on the dude that walked in. Absolutely. And all the members in the administration that knew about it for years didn't do anything. Absolutely. Yeah, you know, light him up. The most disgusting thing to me about the whole situation, the number one, besides the acts that he committed, is the fact that this guy sashayed around Happy Valley and lifted weights and was just hanging out. And they'd even told him, Jerry, you can't do your youth camps here anymore. But feel free to come to your office. Keep your ps.edu email that you have. Keep that. You still have privileges here. That's heinous, dude. Yeah, that's weird. That that guy's still walking around. He was at Happy Valley a week ago.
lifting weights in the gym. That is freaking weird to me, man. Did they just not have enough on this guy? I don't know. I mean, how was he allowed to continue? And McQueary still works there. He's assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator. Could very easily, and I'm sure he did run into Jerry Sandusky on campus from time to time because it sounds like Jerry Sandusky thought he was above the law and could do whatever he wanted to do. And he'll get his, it looks like. Let's see. M1 Moose. From Bonita. What's up, dude? Not much, dude. So first and foremost, just a quick background. I actually work in the jail and prison system down here in San Diego. And that being said, I'm surrounded by the earth. Murderers, just nasty people, rapists. That being said, even amongst that demographic of people in the 3% of this nation that nobody wants to deal with, they're disgusted by Joe Paterno's actions and Sandusky's actions.
It was just when you're dealing with children, even in the prison system and the jails, dude, these guys are disgusting. That's all I heard last night. I just spent 12 and a half hours at work, and it's just crazy. Yeah, that almost, you know what, man? Are any of the people that are saying that, are you saying that they're child abusers? No, I had those guys last night. But I'm talking about, like, the guys that are in there, man, disgusting individuals. And it's really interesting to see their reaction. And the one thing talking to those guys and talking to the guys I work with, action you can take when it comes to something like this or any criminal offense for that matter. The worst thing you could do is do nothing. Whether it's you've got to call 911. You have to tell somebody. You have to make sure that the right thing is done. And that's the problem in today's society is that it's kind of become accepted that, oh, I'm going to wash my hands with this. I'm not going to do anything. And that's the problem with society today. You have to do something. This is a 10-year-old kid.
I think more on the guy that walked in and saw it. I mean, with Joe Potts, like, imagine that phone call to 911. Yeah, I have a kid that told me that he walked in, saw something. When was this, sir? This was yesterday. Okay, you're going to need to, like, just don't see that as an emergency call. I am with L.O.B. Like, listen, would it be ideal? Yeah. Of course, man. Do you guys hold any stock that over the nine years since this incident went down, that with Sandusky still hanging around, still living in State College is the name of the city, still living there, that they probably had some encounters in the last nine years and everybody just seemed to be cool with it? That that guy still had an office? This is what I don't think. I don't think that, like, Joe Paterno and all these different people, because everybody can't be monsters, man. Everybody can't be monstrous. I don't, you know, okay, I don't think Joe Paterno, all these different people that maybe had heard that he had done some stuff, I don't think they're all child-hating. Nor do I, but self-preservation, though, brother. Self-preservation sometimes wins out.
Overdoing the right thing. In order to save your own hide, you're willing to maybe... And here's the thing. The only thing that I can say to that is, have any of us ever done anything to save our own hide? All the time. Yeah, of course. On a smaller scale. Should we not do that? Should we put others before ourselves? Yes. Do we? Do we? No. Nope. Now, we should. Smaller scale, though. Smaller scale. See, here's the thing, though. The answer to the question is, well, would I do something different? The answer to the question is no. Because time after time, what we see through hidden camera or through all these different things, and by the way, people that are crucifying Joe Paterno, what's happening in your life? I mean, what's going on in your life? Yeah. You know what makes spectacular TV?
People not doing anything. How many people did do something that they said, hey, we're just not going to show that because it is not as breathtaking. I don't know. It's not as controversial. I don't know. We can't know. I mean, that's what I'm saying. You're taking the worst case scenario and that's what they want you to see. I can tell you the times that I've personally stepped in and done stuff. And, you know, I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but. I've stepped in and done stuff. There you go. I've stepped in and done stuff. But, you know, here's the thing. I mean, we're talking about somebody that's hearing hearsay. He didn't see it with his own eyes. Now, the kid that did, I mean, at the time, he was a young person himself, you know. I don't know. I guess I just, I think that the monsters are the people at the top that knew about it, didn't do anything. And I think that the monster is the guy that did it. And he's the main guy that's the monster. Oh, for sure. He's a fanged, fanged, fanged monster.
For sure. Just shoot him. Let's see. M1 Mona from San Diego. Well, I kind of wanted to pipe in on the teacher who has to call the PCP. We have a protocol that we need to follow, and we call an ombudsman. You call a what? Wait, wait, wait. You call a what? It's called an ombudsman. It's kind of a funny word. Ombudsman? It's an ombudsman, yeah. It starts with an O. And what do you do for a living? I'm a nurse. Okay. And when you know about or when you know about something, what do you do? Any kind of abuse. Verbal, emotional, financial, any kind of abuse. Physical, whatever. We call the ombudsman. We don't go to our supervisor. And the reason why that protocol is set in place is because what if it's our supervisor who in fact is the one who's abusive? Right. Well, in this case.
When Joe did go to his boss, well, his boss is part and was part of this massive cover-up. And I'm looking, an ombudsman is a person who acts as a trusted intermediary between an organization. Exactly. Yeah, exactly. Hey, and listen, if the rule was, and I know that here's the rule, the rule is if you see something, you call the ombudsman. I'm calling the ombudsman. I'm calling the ombudsman immediately. My thought is that I'm not making excuses. for what he did and didn't know, but he's been there for 61 years. I can't imagine that you're getting Joe Pa to come down and take a new course on, you know, because things have changed so much with who do you report to, sexual harassment things, stuff like that. Companies that big make you every year take it. It's like we have to, and there's just no getting around it. But it's not a company. It's a school. It's the same thing. They're worse. They're worse than a corporation. You're right. We take a thing. that talks about Plagola. And when we were hired, we were given like a pamphlet on sexual harassment. Dude, I don't have a protocol for when I see a coworker raping a child in a shower. I don't have protocol for that, you know? And I'm also 41 years old. I'm not a kid like this guy was that saw it. And...
You know, I think that we're villainizing. I think that kid's a victim, too, for what he looked at, for what he saw. Yes, man. I mean, yes, he's going to be traumatized by what he saw, but people witness crimes all the time. You know they've got to go to a freaking therapy. Poor that guy. That was so sad for him. I saw a girl get killed. Yeah, he witnessed a murder. And you know what? It bothered me, but it... Bothered me more that she'd been killed. Of course. But I didn't cry. Oh, gosh. I need to. Oh, my gosh. Poor me. I never thought that. Jay's main point was I got to put this guy away. I got to put this guy away. Oh, yeah. And so many people didn't want to put him away. I mean, I'll tell you. If I were you, I would have reacted the way that you reacted. I mean, and all I can be is honest with what my feelings are and what's happening in my head. Had I seen what you saw. I'd have told the authorities just like you did. Jay did more. He stepped in and held the girl. I stepped in. I was going to stop it when he shot her. I already knew something was going on. Most importantly about what Jay went through, most importantly, is that all these other witnesses over the years begged off. They begged off and they bailed. Jay stayed. Well, I think most importantly, he walked into a dangerous situation, put his life on the line. And you would have done the same thing. It's the same thing with a kid, I think. And we see that.
I mean, we see that a lot. We see that when people are getting hurt, you know, like when people are being like that in that situation, sometimes your instinct just kicks in and you're saving someone's life with no regard for your own. I've seen people do that for animals. There's a dog drowning. No regard for yourself. You jump into a frozen lake to save a dog. We interviewed the guy who stepped onto... in front of a moving train to get his dog off the track. And got hurt himself. Yes. So you'd like to think that you see a child, a helpless child being abused, you'd step in. I mean... Please do if you do see this. Well, now you better. Now I'm prepared. Now you're ready. Now you're prepared. Now I'm ready. Well, good. Wipe off the shock. Yeah. I've got my hush puppies on. I guess I never was meant for glitter rock. Oh, my God. It's better than I thought. And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. It bothers me that I don't know how to be. Woods. That's why I don't eat that. funk cheese that you eat. I eat Kraft American singles. Lauren. My obsession with black men came from Bill Cosby. Did it? Yeah. And Jake. Man, if I could just be a home dad. On FM 94.9. Well, I'll tell you what. Definitely got up in my kitchen. Hey, mine too. Woods, what was the thing that you read that blew your mind? Dude, one of our M1s. Where are you? S.O.B. He said...
Ah, Scott O'Neill. There are people listening to your show right now who know a child molester. They've never reported it. It's time to make that phone call. Yeah, that's crazy. I sat back and went, holy crap. Wow. If that's true, I agree with that. And, you know, I think you and I need to clarify something. Because people are like, hey, man, I really like you, Woods, but I can't believe you wouldn't beat the crap out of this guy. You know, imagine that's Jake in there. Listen, if I see Jake Esparza in that position, That dude is a dead man. He is a dead dog. If I see Jasper Isabel, he's a dead dog. Anybody I know, and I'm not saying that somebody I know holds more weight over somebody I don't, but you can't know until you're there. And walking in that room and going, Well, how do you know that you would step in for Jake but not a nameless kid? Because I know Jake. But why does that make a difference? I don't know why it does, but it does. I'll tell you why.
Because I know my kid. I don't know. And I want to say it, but I think, gosh darn, that's what's really in my head. That's what's really. You're certain that he needs help. Yes. Yeah. I'm certain. I'm certain that you're 100% certain. And then when you go, and then when you go, what 10-year-old would ever be done? Of course. Of course. I know. But you can't make that argument to me and call me a P-word because I said... Now, here, I've said this definitively. I would call the police. I know that about myself. I would call the cops. That's the very least that can be done. So would I. So would I. The walking in and beating the guy to death, I don't know that I would. I'd be scared to death. And I want to say this, too. Same thing with me. If it's my son, Jay's son, or somebody... The person's going to – I might murder him. Yeah, minus the might. Yeah. It may be that the only reason that I leave is to go get a pair of scissors. Yeah. That may be it. A baseball bat. Or a baseball bat. They're getting the full-on Goodfellas treatment. And I don't know why. All I do know is that as a human being, I'm telling you the truth, and I'm sorry if that makes me –
We all need to imagine that if that situation comes up that we know the kid. That's a great point. It's somebody's son. Now we know. It's so easy. And by the way, there's so many people that are saying it and yet you've been in situations. I know that you've been in situations where you should have done the right thing and you didn't. Why do we do things that are wrong? In other words, This person's a monster. But what about your thievery? What about your cheating on your wife? I know there's an adulterer listening right now that thinks that Joe Paterno is a piece of S. And that we are P-words. And that we're P-words. Yet you're cheating on your wife. I know that there are people that are listening right now that are guilty of a crime. of doing something disgusting, yet you are willing to look at someone else and say, that person's... Listen, maybe they are. It's a whole other issue. But wait a minute. But what I'm saying is... Cheating and child molestation? Oh my gosh, dude. Well, it is different. It's 100% different. Of course it's different. But you know what? You're not any... Listen, if you're a bad dude, you're a bad dude.
If you're a bad dude, you're a bad dude. Nobody's good, man. But it's not my job to enforce him stealing or cheating. I could care less. Right. Go for it. If that's what you want to do, that's your bad. But when you start hurting someone else directly in a physical way, I am all in. I am taking you out. And I don't know, because Ella B. asked me this. She's like, if that kid is screaming help. It's done. It's done. Yes. There's no question. Jay, I'm not a I want kids to get raped kind of. I know what I mean, man. This is what blows me away. You're taking such a firm tack on the fact that, hey, here's a guy, a six-year-old guy, or I don't know how old he is, showering with a kid. You walk in and you know that is wrong. They were doing more than showering. Yeah, and you know what, man? Maybe it's because I'm a victim myself and I'm scared. I'm scared. Maybe the whole thing just scares me because I'm a victim. I don't know, man. Because here's my deal. If I walked in that shower, I unequivocally know that I wouldn't be like, well, it's go time. Immediately. I know that I wouldn't just go for the guy's throat. See, I don't know. I can't believe that you would. I know I'd need a second. Maybe I wouldn't. I don't know. Listen, I know I would need...
I know I'd need a second before I went back in. Maybe I would go back in. The only thing I know for sure is I would walk in there and say, you get your clothes on. We're out of here. I'm not saying I would hit the guy. I'm not saying I would freak out and I'd be a tough guy. But I'd say, this is 100% wrong. This is not going down. This is not going down. You're putting your clothes on. Where's your mom? Where's your mom and dad right now? Yeah. If you didn't, what does it mean? What does that make you if you didn't? What if you went out and what if you went out, you took five minutes, then you called the cops? I mean, I don't understand makes you anything. I'm just saying that in my mind, 100 percent, you know, like I've stepped into situations that were awkward. And sometimes I was wrong for stepping in and sometimes I was right. But I'd always rather be wrong. See, I believe if I walked in and I thought it was a situation where the police needed to be brought in, I believe I'd grab the phone, call 911, and then be saying, I've got the police on the phone, get off of him. I mean, at the very least. If your instinct doesn't kick in right away to physically make the separation, I think you see a crime. You see a physical crime.
Yeah, you're right. I would think you'd call 911. I'd like to rip the guy's head off. And given the chance to get in a room with Jerry Sandusky, I think it'd be a lot of fun. But, you know, you don't know until you see something like that. But I do know this. I do know this. Authorities should have been called that day by somebody. Somebody should have called McQuarrie or McQuarrie's dad, whatever. They should have called the freaking cops. That day. Because this guy got away with this stuff for way too long. I mean, and who's to know that the guy wasn't going to kidnap him, kill him? I mean, how do you just leave him alone in the room? How do you just leave a kid alone in the room with someone who's doing that? Because, L.O.B., when you just said that, the thought occurred to me. But you've had the benefit of thinking of that. I wouldn't have thought of that. If I see a kid in an abusive situation, it has to end. Listen. I didn't even think to myself, what if he's about to be kidnapped by this guy that I know? Yeah, this defensive coordinator, national championship winning. I know him. He was my coach. I'm kind of confused. If I walked in and saw you doing that, Mike, you'd no longer be Mike. You'd be a monster. You would be a monster. He is. And he is. He is. I'd put my relationship with you aside to know that this kid is in trouble.
I just don't see me sitting, oh gosh, calling my mom. Mom, what should I do? How do I not know what the right thing is to do and what's happening? Well, I'll tell you, you are a 30-year-old woman. You've lived a lot of life. You know, when you were younger, I'll tell you what, man, when I was a kid, when I was 21 or whatever, I was a completely different person than I am now. You know? I mean, I'm a completely, I'll be honest with you, I'm a completely different person. at 7.44 a.m. right now than I was at 6 a.m. this morning. And I mean that literally, not figuratively. At this moment, I now am prepared. If I ever run into this kind of situation, I'm not going to be surprised because we've all talked about it. We've analyzed it. And I'll tell you, man, if I ever do see that, I will bull rush the guy. You know? But I'm just being honest with you when I say I don't know that that would be my innate instinct. I would be shocked, scared, freaked out. Somebody I know, if I saw Jay doing that, I'd be like, what the? My brain would be firing off neurons. Are you guys also not telling me that there is any credence to the fact that because this was, okay, if it was a janitor at Penn State, it's different. It's different. It's Jerry Sandusky, national championship winning defensive coordinator.
for which you're a graduate assistant, you want to be a coach there, this is bigger than that. It has to do with the entire university, the football program. That holds some credence to where it shouldn't, but it did. That should come later, though. It shouldn't, but it did. In an emergency situation, you need to be reactive. You don't start thinking about your career. I agree. Who doesn't? Who doesn't agree with that? Oh, I disagree with that. No, I agree with you. Everybody thinks that. But this guy goes, I just saw defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky raping a boy. What is this going to do to Jerry Sandusky? What is this going to do to Penn State? And obviously, look what it's done. But I guarantee you, that's why the guy called his dad. And was like, what the hell? Now listen. I think the fact that Woods is able to say that is a few things. Brave? It takes balls, Woods, to be able to look at human nature. And say, I'm sorry, this is human nature. And don't any of you think that you're beyond reproach? Right. Don't anybody think that you're beyond reproach? Because we're not in that situation. And yes, do I think that I should? Of course. How do you not? If you don't, then you're weird. But how could I, if I saw you, not only would that jeopardize my career, it would jeopardize 949. It could shut down this whole.
That's so far hindsight. Of course. I mean, on the spot, why would I be thinking about that stuff? Because it's Jerry Sandusky, the guy that you know. But he's Mike Esparza. It's not. It wouldn't matter to me. And it shouldn't matter, but it did. It shouldn't matter, but it did. Let me ask you a different way. Let me ask you a different way. And I'm just going to ask you with human nature, okay? Because I was sexually abused and it did some real harm to me, okay? Mentally. It didn't kill me. I'm not dead, but it did some real harm to me. All right. But I'm going to ask you this. What if it was your own child who was the perpetrator? What if it was your own child that is an adult and you see him doing that? What about then? Because we know what we would do if it was our own child that was getting abused. Now, if it's your child and you see them doing that, obviously you're furious with them. You're furious with them. Now, the right thing to do, and I know this, and you know me, I want my kids punished when they do something wrong. So if it's me, I'm calling the police, and at the end of the day, if it's my own kid, just like I know I'm going to rush in there and murder somebody that's hurting my child.
If it's my child that's doing the perpetrating, I also know instinctively they're going down. I'm calling the actual police. Absolutely. Does everyone feel that way? Absolutely. No, I don't think everyone does. No, I don't think everyone does. I mean, I think I agree with you, but I think there's plenty of people out there that would protect their child first and say, well, wait, what's the situation? What's going on? What's going on? And they'd want to give their kid the benefit of the doubt. My parents, dude, I've been in trouble a lot. And in my parents' eyes, well, my mom's eyes, I've never done anything wrong. I've always been the victim, you know. And that's not the case. Everything I ever did, I did to myself. But that's the instinct, bro. That's the instinct. And I'd like to think that if my son was Jerry Sandusky, that I'd freaking put him out of his misery. But I know myself, and I wouldn't. I wouldn't.
I don't know what I'd do, but I know I wouldn't do that. Jerry Sandusky's parents didn't walk in. I mean, it's this person that's a complete, yes, they know each other. Yes, he worked under him or was coached under him, but that's not his kid. So that's not a decision he had to make. I mean, the decision is an actual kid is in danger. Yeah. I mean, that's. You know, I also see this, you know, I also see this. I think that there is a tendency on the part of women in particular. To think and some men, I mean, Jay, but I think that with women in particular, there's this thing that goes, you're a guy. This is what you're supposed to do. It's the same reason that a lot of times when there's a fight going on, women will go, babe, go beat that guy. You know, go do something. Who has ever said that? I've never said that. My what? You see a fight going on? There's a fight going on and somebody is getting beaten up. Let me tell you.
I'm not going to say where I was. I almost kicked a guy in the face. I almost kicked a guy in the face. And what I decided to do instead was to call the cops. And I said to him, I'm calling the cops. And it stopped everything. It's a great move. It stopped everything. So I've been in this situation. Was he attacking you? No, he was attacking him and his girlfriend were fighting. She's punching him and he's getting physical with her. And I wanted and I walked over to start to kick him in the face. This was about two years ago. I walked over to start to kick him in the face and something probably a higher power in my head said don't kick him in the face. Instead tell him you're calling the cops and I did and it stopped.
So I guess we all, you know, what I'm proving to myself right now is maybe I would do more. I don't know. Right. I guess that this is my problem. This is my problem. My problem is in beating somebody up that themselves was put in a position. You know, if an elevator door opens up and you see somebody, you know, imagine it's a horror movie. The door opens up. There's a guy with a mask and he's got a knife and it's a horror movie scene in front of you. You know what I'd like to think I do? Go in there, start karate chopping. No, I would not. I can say unequivocally, I would not do that. I don't have a weapon. I'm going to run and I'm going to call the police. Well, wait a minute. A crime is being committed. But that's a weapon. Wait a second.
So was this guy. His body became a weapon. Oh, really? Didn't it? That's very different. How did he not? He was raping a guy. He was raping a child. Yeah, but two people of matched strength is different than someone with a weapon. A nude man in a shower. Yeah, I have a feeling I could come out ahead on that one. Even if I couldn't, I think I could make a pretty good impact. A killer with a machete, like, oh, can I take him? I think I can. It's clearly a lethal weapon. You haul ass in that situation, and you find a phone, and you... What if the person is struggling? They're not down for the count. They're struggling. If I don't get us safely away, then no one knows what happened, because we're both dead in a pile of blood. I agree with you. Yeah. Listen, we're playing devil's advocate to a lot of this stuff. Sure. And, you know, listen, I saw a girl in college. One of my friends in college got slapped by a dude at the bar. Do you know what we did to the guy that slapped her? It wasn't good. It wasn't good. And that was a reaction from a 22-year-old kid. But it wasn't good what we did to him. It wasn't good.
And I'd like to think that I'd go in and beat the crap out of Jerry Sandusky. But I know that I can't 100% say that I would. But I know what I would do. I would have called the cops. I would have called the cops within 10 minutes. Yeah. I mean, I feel like that's just the least of what you can do. Absolutely. And I think this guy, Scott McQuarrie, probably kicks himself in the face every single day for it. His inaction probably led to more abuse, and that sucks. This is, by the way, the first call today. The very first call today of someone that says they shouldn't be so hard on the kid that witnessed it. The very first one. M1 Jesse from Escondido. Hello. Hi. You know, if there was a child, and I'm sorry, I'm not quite clear on the age of the child that walked in. Oh, 20. He was 20 years old. That's not a child. Well, the 20-year-old kid, 20-year-old Scott McQuarrie walked in on a 10-year-old boy in the shower. Okay, this is an entirely different situation. I'm sorry. I thought it was like a 10-year-old kid that walked in and left and called his dad. No, no. He was a graduate assistant. He was 20 years old. He was 20 and he saw... And by the way, he saw somebody that he thought was...
I think they said in the deposition he says something like he thought he was 10. Yeah, thought the kid was about 10. Was about 10, you know. Yeah, I'm sorry. I thought the child that walked in was 10. No. That totally changes my perspective 100%. Yeah. 100%. I have actually had a very visceral reaction to child abuse before and received assault charges for it. You know what? I'll take those every day because it stopped it right then and there. I thought you were talking about it. Child locked in my fault. Sorry. No, he's 20 years old, graduate assistant, now the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Penn State. Still there. So why is he not out? Yeah. Why Paterno? Why Curly? Why all those other guys and not him? That doesn't make any sense that he's still the assistant coach. He's the witness. He's been. He gave grand jury testimony. Why didn't he go to the police? Why did he get to pass the buck and Joe Paterno didn't get to pass the buck? And by the way, he did call the police. He went to his dad's house. They called Paterno, right? They told Paterno. He passed the buck. Paterno passed the buck. This is proof. This is proof. That is innate proof that they were concerned about the football program of Penn State University because that was a football coach.
That's innate proof. You don't need any other proof. The fact that, hey, Dad, I just saw Sandusky, our old defense coordinator, doing that. This is going to wreck Penn State football. And he should be. There should be something that happens to this guy, I imagine. And I bet you there will. I don't know why he's not fired. It shows that. He was thinking about, well, what could this do to my chances? What could this do to the reputation of the football program? Yeah, of the university. By the way, M1 Brian, sorry it's taken me so long to get to you, but what was the word of the day? That's correct. And you heard it. And you've got some lift tickets to go to Mammoth Mountain, so hang on the line, okay? Very nice and very well done. Bless you. Thank you. And I believe that that is 100% right, man. And he took a bite. We were not on the radio. And Jay hit the talkback speaker and said, To get another donut? He threw it away. And Woods, like, froze mid-chew, was kind of shocked, like he had just, you know, seen a ghost, and threw the donut away. I guess no one else wanted that donut either. Man. He's choking. I'm down choking on it. Yeah, he's choking. I got those donuts for Chris's going away party. I'm drowning in an L.O.B. That J is something. That was a vegan donut. Yeah, well, maybe you don't. Flap gum all the time. Just call your friends fatties. Just let people live their own lives, Jay. Maybe just eat one donut. He didn't even make it a question. He made it a declaration. He said fatty had to get another donut. Yeah. Declaration of fat. Hi, I'm Jay. Wasn't even a question. Yeah. This is the declaration of fat. Jay, if you could shoot all fat people, would you? No. He'd move us to an island.
All of, like, chubby or overweight, out-of-shape people? I do think y'all should be quarantined and studied. Right. Because it's just innate laziness. And I would never say innate, because I don't know what the hell that means, but laziness. Here's the deal. I'd give them a chance to get in shape first. Put them on an island, give them a regimen. If they still couldn't get skinny, then I'd kill them. Fitness boot camp. Yeah, then I'd kill them. What do you think about VG's Donuts Woods? I love you! Okay, we get it. You love donuts. I love you. Okay. Donuts are delicious. We all like them. I love you. Woods, can you calm down? We know. Donuts are donuts. I love you. Okay. There's our favorite team player. I've been sitting on that. I was wondering when you quit talking about Sandusky. I want to get in on some of these fat jokes I got written down. He's a communist. He is. I had a whole day to write jokes yesterday. You are right. He's a communist. Yes. I almost wrote. Solidarity on our email chain last night. We had an email chain last night, and fine. We need a sound effect for a curtain being pulled back. Last night, who started it? I did. Out of sweetness. Yeah, very sweet girl. L.O.B. starts something out of sweetness. She sure did. And what her comment was, was, hey guys, tomorrow is...
Chris's last day. Chris is our phone screener. Tomorrow is his last day. Why don't we get him some sort of a going away? Yeah, great plan. And so I think she said maybe she was coming up with an idea. She said maybe we can get him gift cards from the different places that we sent him like Einstein's. We send him? Jamba. I don't make him go anywhere every day. You've never gotten anything? Oh, I've gotten food. I've gotten food. So, in fact, you have sent him somewhere. But I don't send him every single day. Oh. But have you ever? I've sent him a few occasions. Okay. So you have? On occasion. Have you? Yes or no answer? Not every day. Not every day. Yes or no? This is not a court of law. You should be. No kidding. Might as well be. Tommy? Yeah. So. Yeah. Yeah. So.
He writes back, Jay writes back, and he says, why don't we get him an Amazon card? Why do I sound like I'm so angry? I just said, hey, why don't we get him an Amazon card? No. I wouldn't like it because I don't need all that junk food. No, that's not true. I wrote back first. Well, first he said, why not an Amazon card? Yeah, let's get him an Amazon card. And he said, for someone like Chris, that just seems so impersonal because I've never heard Chris talk about Amazon. Okay. So he never talks about everything in the world is available on Amazon. But I've seen him get plenty of the stuff from the places that we go to. Because you make him go there every day. But no, but it was kind of a personal connection. Like, ha ha, maybe you'll think of us every time you use this gift card. We should get them gloves. And we say we should get them gloves because what happened was, after Jay said, well, I don't think we should get that. I think we should get him on Amazon. Lauren said, what? Amazon, that's very impersonal. She sounds so nice when she says it. When I talk, I'm like, yeah, yeah. I was still being like, come on, it's Chris. Were you? I thought so. At that point, I was. Very impersonal. That is always friendly. I thought she was saying, come on, guys. We got to come stronger than an impersonal gift. I was. That's exactly what I was saying. And Jay says, well, I already wrote him a song.
It's from me, so. After I suggested we each write a verse to a parody. Yeah, he's like, what? Did you write yours? No, because it got vetoed. So Jay's like, well, I could do it. I did it. I already did it. I already did it. It's been done. Yes. I did it. Yeah, and then he says, he announces to all of us. After I suggested it. And then he announces to all of us, oh, yeah. And I already got him an Amazon gift card, too. And I wouldn't get him a gift card to some fast food place because I wouldn't want it. That's identical. I wouldn't want it. By that point, I'd been attacked, so I responded appropriately. Yes. I get it. Sometimes you have a rough week. I was not attacking you, and neither one of them took it that way. You ready to hear Jay's song? Yeah. None of us have heard it yet. Chris's going away song. Oh, my God. Yesterday. Oh, my gosh. Chris was doing everything for me. I hate you. Oh, my gosh. Now it looks like I will have to get my own coffee. Oh, my gosh. Oh, Chris, what have you done to me, Mikey? That's me. That's a Spanish fuzzy bear. Oh, gosh. Chrissy, the little angel, is not here for me. Who the hell will go by dip for me? Oh.
Oh, my God. Oh, Chrissy, this day came. So suddenly. It's identical. Why Chris had to go, I don't know. He wouldn't say. I yelled. Oh, my God. Chris, you're sweet. Now, Rob. my feet yesterday Chris's virginity came into play you have no idea I believe he'll never be able to give it away oh I believe it's here to stay why he had to go I don't know he wouldn't say The rest of the show must have said something wrong. Now Nicole is here to stay. Nicole is here. Yesterday. Oh my God. Doesn't matter. She's probably better anyway. Oh my God. Now Chris, you can just go away. Oh my God. Sweetest kid in the world. Nicole's better anyway. Oh my God.
Wow. Holy crap. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. That's amazing. Don't applaud that, Jay. That's amazing. Can't help it. I didn't like it. I loved it. Thank you, Chris. Chris applauded me. Stand in ovation. Oh, my gosh. Can you guys imagine? I refuse to support communism. Yes. Can you imagine? I'm not going to support the red state. Can you imagine what his parodies are going to be like for Nicole? Very attractive, young. She's attractive? Probably Justify My Love, Madonna. I'm wanting. I'm waiting for you. He said I like to look, but Nicole, I love to tell you. Justify My Love. Yeah, it's not actually a parody. He sings the exact words from Justify My Love. I want to make love to you in Paris. I want to kiss you in New York. And wow. Oh, wow. He doesn't actually change one word. There's no words, James, at all. Oh, my gosh. Hey, Mac, I did a song for Nicole. Yeah, I think you'll like it, Mac. Oh, my God. I think you'll think it's cool. What? James, that's so creepy. Yeah, and this one's going out to Nicole. She's almost as old as my daughter.
In a few years, she will be. Come babysit Jasper. But the cool thing is, my daughter will always be older. Jay, you sound so much like Madonna. You didn't even change anything. I'm going to hold your hand and roam. I'm going to run naked in a rainstorm. Kim, you know it's all a joke. Baby, it's all a joke, baby. It's the only girl for me. I mean, if she said yes, it wouldn't be a joke anymore. For the purpose of this song. And for our show. It's a joke. This is just a joke. Babe, listen. You know all that stuff that I do on the radio is just for the radio. Unless, of course, Nicole came on to me, and then it would be a different story. You guys are monsters. You know, Nicole, there's a Paris, California. We could drive right after the show.
I'll kiss you in Paris. Hold your hand. We'll go to Little Italy. Just make it happen. It's almost like Italy. It's just like Rome, girl. Hey, listen. Take it to Olive Garden. And the only reason I'm taking it to Olive Garden is because the station's got some trade. A gift card from Adam, our promotions director. I ain't paying. There's a crepe store. It'd be just like Paris. Just like Paris. This guy comes out, Mr. Hero. He gets a thing. Weird. Yeah, yeah. Get him something he can really use. L.O.B., understandably so, was irritated when he announced to all of us, well, I wrote a song and I already got him a gift. Don't be jealous. What was your response? Of course you did. I said, of course you did. Oh, really? Of course you did. Of course. I said, of course you did. Because when have I ever gone, of course you did.
Isolate. In person. That's what she did. What have I ever done that? Isolate on that, Olivia. It was all in caps. It was not all in caps. I'll pull it up and print it right now. I need to isolate. I said, hey. I couldn't find it. I was looking for the email chain. I mean, this email chain went on and on and on and on. Woods suggested that we all write a parody. How about, she's always a woman to me and we'll each take a verse. Nothing back from Jay for hours. Weird. I'm sorry. I was coaching my son's soccer team. He writes back. I wrote a parody. Should be good. No. Woods had already said there's no way to get it done and produced in time. So I'll just step up to the plate. That's reality. I actually said we don't have time to produce it, but we could all go sing a verse. Hey, listen. That's done, girl. It's already done. Girl, it's done. I like your idea. I raised it. I did it myself. Yeah, I'm going to call the song empty-handed, which is what you're going to be when you come in. You ain't going to have nothing for Chris. I will. I'll look like a hero. You'll look like a zero. Hello. I got to give it to him, though. Parody's pretty brilliant. I refuse to accept it. It's pretty brilliant. Weird. I was mad. I texted Woods. Solidarity. Unity. Yeah.
She did. I did. I was fired up. Pretty brilliant. Sorry, I didn't like your idea. Well, we got a gift together. Yeah, we did. And then I'm in the dark. You weren't answering either. Where were you yesterday? Where were you? So I didn't respond to this chain that was going back and forth, right? I didn't respond to it. And Woods goes, well, me and LLB, we got him something between the two of us. And I go, what? What? Where are you MIA, dude? And Woods goes, you didn't respond to the emails. I go, Woods. You responded once, and what your response was was, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Hey, at least everybody knew I was there. Hey, you could have been laying in a gutter somewhere for all I know, okay? Oh, he's worried about you. I was scared to death. Four people, we can't agree on one thing. Yeah, I know. One freaking thing. And I did write early on, and I go, we ever just plan stuff 24 hours before it goes down? Yeah. Well, we had to. We had to. Well, yeah. Sometimes life throws you a curveball. You can either hit the curveball or you wait for another pitch. That's what you got to do. You roll with the punches. You don't defect and go do your own thing. Yeah, you don't go watch freaking. At least you did nothing, Mike. It's better than defect. No, I did. You did nothing. He defected. He defected. Of course I defected. It was a Starbucks card. I'm having my own show any day now, so I'm going to get started on doing stuff. I'm sorry. I think more of him than a Starbucks card.
Oh, so you let him pick out his own gift. Yes. Now he slams our gift. He will use ours every day. He will use mine to buy something he really wants. Chris is shaking his head yes. Chris, do you have an Amazon? Are you a member? Oh, you are. Now he slams our gift. See? You don't think I know him. Yeah, you know, he don't even like coffee. He's allergic to it. You'd know if you knew him better. Have you ever talked to him? And by the way, I'll tell you the truth of the matter. Truth of the matter is, he ain't going nowhere. He's my phone screener for the Jay Show. Right. Which will be premiering on FM949 Monday, 6 a.m. to 10. Monday after Thanksgiving. That's right. What they want me to do, they want me to work an eight-hour shift. That's right. So I'm going to be here 6 to 2 every day. Because anything y'all can do, I can do double. Anything y'all can do, I can do double. Catchy. Gosh darn. Yesterday, Chris was doing everything for me. Now it looks like I will have to get my own coffee. Oh, Chris, what have you done to me, Mikey? I hate that it's funny. I know. I hate it. I hate it. Chrissy, the little angel, is not here for me. Who the hell will go buy dip for me?
Oh, Chrissy, this day came so suddenly. Why Chris had to go, I don't know. Guaranteed he was proud of his vocal quality. Oh, no. Guaranteed. my feet. Because you have him rub your feet all the time. And I honk honk like that. Chris's virginity came into play. I believe he'll never be able to give it away. Oh, I believe it's here to stay. Why he had to go, I don't know. He's kind of on key. Kind of. He's Manny Pacquiao. He is proud of this one. Where did this music come from? I did it all. I take care of business, L.A.B., all right? Get it through yesterday. Doesn't matter, she's probably better anyway. My goodness. Now, Chris, you can just go away. Oh, my God. Quite a send-off. He cuts deep. Nicole's better anyway.
L-O-L, Jay, you are so funny. You're the best. Gosh, you're my hero. Gosh, I love you. I hate everybody else. Oh, look at the first comment. Ba-ha-ha-ha-ha, Jay in 2012. Who made that comment? Kim R. Isbell. M1J. Weird. Oh, my heavens, Jay. Pound. Dying laughing. It's not Twitter. Rojas. Rojas said that. Easy, Rojas. You ever just steal thunder from your castmates? Yeah, you just want to let us get in on the joke. You just want to make everybody look bad. Hey, I'm just trying to step up to the plate. Hit that curveball. I'm just trying to steal the plate from your own. Trying to get the plate away from your face. What you did is you caught the curveball, you grabbed it, then you hauled out through the left field gate, and you ran to your car. And I'm going, dude, no, it's the last ball! It's the last ball! Sorry! I made it clear what I was going to do. I'm going to listen to the show. You already did it, not what you were going to do. Look, that thing's been in the can for two weeks. I just didn't tell y'all. Yeah.
Gosh, that dude. Was that the same email chain where he had to let us know that he just got back from a 20-mile bike ride? Oh, that was the day before. And then he threw in, last night was so fun. Love you guys. Love you guys. I think that was going to patch up anything. Patch up everything. BS artist. That's so much fun. This guy. That was fun. Let's see. Do it more often. Oh, man, I want to play smart guy. Oh. Let's see. We can do it, but we can't do it right now. We'll have to in a bit. Gosh, I don't know which way to go. We've got a Charger game tonight, my brother. Yeah, Chargers are playing tonight against the Raiders. Good news for the Chargers. Darren McFadden will not play. Really? So we'll get Michael Bush instead. So that's good. Chargers have lost three in a row. It's a division game. It's going to be huge. It's on TV. Yeah, this is for...
First place. Number one in AFC West, right? First place in the division, and you can come watch it with me at Dave & Buster's, 5 to 7. That'll be good. Yep. Based. Based on it. That's one direction. 570-1949 is our number. Uh-oh. Did I do that? Uh-oh. I've never done that. Uh-oh. So, I thought this was pretty good, because I read it and went, oh, perfect. I had no idea. They're stuff that you shouldn't buy at one of those five and dime stores because it sucks. And I didn't know. And I'll tell you what they are. And then I'll tell you there's things that you could be buying there where you're getting great value on your buck. Oh, live press conference right now with the guy that's taking over for Joe Paterno. Tom Bradley. A part of the Mikey Show now.

It was 36 years ago today. In 1975, that the Edmund Fitzgerald sank to the bottom of Lake Superior. Identical, Jay. Identical. Favorite song. If you do not drive by the Paula Billboards, advertising Gordon Lightfoot, and think to yourself,
Identical J. It's identical J. Then I don't know what to do with it because it's identical J. I think that is a compliment. Are you able to get him in yet? I've emailed their PR person. He's pretty busy, called Gordon. I don't know. I don't think we're in their demo. Maybe they're trying to get to come to the show. Oh, gosh. Maybe a phoner or something? You know, he's going to machete us. No, no. No, I'm going to get you in your sleep. I ain't going machete. Jay, this is Gordon Lightfoot's PR guy. There's just no way he can do a phoner with you guys. I mean, it's Gordon Lightfoot. He's buried. Legend. With requests, okay? He's a legend. Just this weekend alone, the guy's playing three birthday parties. And by playing, I mean he's helping cater. He probably has a lot of AM interviews. AM? Yeah.
By playing, I mean he's baking cupcakes. Yes. He's playing with his grandson right now. Three times this week. Just can't get him. You're a monster. Oh. All right. Maybe I should send him a Starbucks card and he could get him to lock it in. Ouch. I got him. A terrible gift, I guess. A lot of thought. Are we out of paper? What that is. She just printed me a schedule and it was printed on an Avery sticker sheet. I didn't want to waste paper, so I was not going to print you a new one. That is fantastic. Just peel away the parts you don't like. Yeah, when you're done, just peel it away. That's right. That's fantastic. Okay, so.
I have some of the things that you had no idea, but apparently these are things that you shouldn't be buying at that dollar store. Don't buy toys there. Oh, yeah. Don't buy toys there. No way. Crap. They're break, and you're going to have to end up buying another toy, and you've got to worry about what's in the paint. Yeah. And the one exception they say is coloring books. It's the only thing. Oh, yeah, done. Paper. Because they're usually half as expensive as the others. Well, there they actually have asbestos coloring books. That's right. That's why they're so cheap. You want to make sure you don't get those. Don't buy batteries. What? I always buy batteries from the dollar store. Don't do it. Don't get it at the dollar store because they say that a lot of the generic batteries are made with carbon zinc and not lithium. That's why they don't last as long. I buy the brands that I know from the dollar store. I wonder how that is. They're also more likely to...
Leak. Lauren, you environment hater. I don't buy generic. Even if you buy, you know what though? I don't know this for a fact. I'm just going to make this up. But I would think that if you got really cheap batteries that were name brand like Duracell at a dollar store, it was because there was something wrong with them. They're damaged. Or they were criminal. Yeah, they were off a truck. My friend's uncle used to be like, they fell off the back of a truck. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. Air Jordans for a dollar. Yeah, they fell off a truck. Why don't you be grateful for what you get? Yeah. You say thank you. You don't say where'd you get this. Yeah. Yeah. Don't get vitamins at a dollar store. Because Consumer Reports did a thing. They found out that multivitamins at dollar stores don't always have the same amount of stuff in them that the label brands do. Don't buy aluminum foil. What? Oops. Well, at Costco, you can get 300-foot rolls for $10. Wow. Dollar stores usually sell 25-foot rolls for $1 each. I will say that. I've been duped by that. Yep. You get the rollout, you wrap up one thing, and it's gone. Yep. Tricky. Don't buy extension cords or power strips there. They're not made well, LB. Burn your house down. Damage your stuff.
Same thing goes for computer wires. Don't get that at the dollar store. Here's what you should, though. This is stuff they say is really good to get there. Shampoo. You could save as much as two bucks a bottle. Shampoo is good to get at the dollar store. Cleaning products are good to get at the dollar store. Sometimes they're diluted and you're going to have to use a little bit more, but the ingredients are the same. Greeting cards. Great idea there. Great idea. Spices. Probably won't have a good selection, but... If you want basic stuff, great place. Salt and pepper. That's right. And socks. It's the last thing. Socks. Generic white socks are a pretty good deal. They cost at least $2.50 a pair at regular stores. So there you go. You need to know that. Jermaine Jackson says, his brother, Michael, not what you think. Listen, say what you will, he says.
You all think that you know exactly what my brother is all about, but he wants to go on record as saying, well, it's not always what it appears. Let's see. There we go. Check it out. Do you think that he could have hidden the fact that he was addicted to something? Is that possible? No, he wasn't addicted. There was an addiction to Demerol in 2001 and 2000, early 2000, but that was because of pain. Even doing the autopsy reports, there was no addiction to any of that. Michael just wanted to sleep. He did not want to die. He trusted. Many of us want to sleep. We don't take propofol. What's an autopsy? The doctor and the negligence and everything. It's really sad because we lost an incredible person. So to see and hear the verdict, it's... What's a verdict?
My mother cried and we consoled her and the fans were cheering and everything, but that's not bringing Michael back. We lost a brother. Listen, I hate to disagree with you, Jermaine, but I was. A brother? No. Well, you used to be and then you got your skin bleached. I guess you were technically his brother. No. His brother. That's not what I'm talking about. Oh. What? Well, he said that I was not addicted. Were you addicted? Oh, pretty much, yeah. Yeah. It's pretty hardcore, Michael. You would know. Wouldn't I? Beat it. What do I mean? Ha. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Man, how long does it take? Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. All right. Does this make you a... Does this make you...
A diva, if you're Mariah Carey. The mom of twins recently recorded a duet with Justin Bieber. What's your advice? About him and Mariah? It's like scandal after scandal. I was like, really? The girl's name? I had nobody named Mariah when I was growing up, and it's like, whatever. She's upset because the chick that's accusing Justin Bieber of being the baby daddy, her name's Mariah Yader. She's from San Diego. Mariah's like, you have to have my name? When I was growing up, nobody did. I'll have to say when I saw the name in the news, the first thing I thought of was Mariah Carey. It is? Great. Now you're validating the divaness. I don't think it makes her a diva. I think it makes her immature. She's not a diva. Hey, Mariah Yader. What kind of response did you get when you tried to contact Justin Bieber?
Your attorneys are asking for a DNA test. And they also said that you are more than willing to take a polygraph test. You feel like you have nothing to hide. I have nothing to hide. Oh boy. When you tried to contact. Why is he, why are you whispering? It's to be very serious. When you're conducting an interview with a woman who says that she willingly had sex with an underage person. Well, they're in Bieber's backyard conducting the interview. Yeah. Trying not to wake him up. Justin or Justin's people, what was their reaction? No contact. Well, you tweeted them. You should have. You should actually. You just at him. He's got millions of followers. Yeah. Then I weed through and find you. At Justin Bieber, I'm pregnant. It's yours. You're the baby daddy. Yeah. Nothing. I heard nothing. No response. No response. I called Tower Records and asked them to pass the message on. I called Usher. Tower Records hasn't existed for 10 years. I called Sam Goody. Who's that? No, no, Sam Goody from the mall. I called the actual Sam Goody. Mr. Goody. Excuse me, Mr. Goody. Do you know Justin Bieber? Because I need you to tell him.
Something for me. That he got me pregnant. Listen to this weirdness. More with Mariah Yader. How did she get your phone number? If this kid... It's not Bieber's. They're going to have to put this girl away. In a room with rubber walls. But how did a fan get her number? Maybe she was silly enough to leave it up on Facebook. Oh. Been there. It's a true statement. Yes, Woods, you have been there. I've done that before and still get a random text from time to time and no idea who it's from. It's perfect.
Somebody alerted me to the fact that Jay had written that he was thinking of getting rid of his GPS because he thinks that they're in cahoots with the gas companies and he'll only use it in the desert. I'm just saying that they make you go the longest route possible. What other excuse can there be? So you believe that there is some sort of conspiracy out there? Always. and that they are trying to do this, and that they've purposefully gotten together. The TomTom has gotten together. Garmin, in my case. Garmin. Don't tie me up in this, Mikey. It's not even your fault, TomTom girl. I don't want to be associated with this commie pinko. I know. Straight from the TomTom girl's mouth. Yeah, you know. She would know. Made in China. So you have a Garmin, and you believe that Garmin... And maybe Exxon has gotten together. And why else would they send you on the longest route possible? Why not take me the short way? Jim Garman and Joe Exxon met at a Starbucks in Toledo. They're like, all right, here's the deal. Here's how we're going to do this. I'm getting screwed. Hey, how many spills are you going to have? We don't need any more spills. You don't need any more. Here's, I got an idea.
I'm going to institute a program where we just screw the American public. They buy my product. They take longer. They're going to use your gas. Now you're getting it. How do I know that they're not going to buy the gas from Shell? Well, you don't. But what I can tell you is using my machine, they're going to be screwed. I know. But how do I make out of this? You don't know. I think maybe they're in cahoots right with the Middle Easterns. Yeah, with the people that are selling. The oil. The oil, yes. Same people that are delivering us. So Jim Garman and? Sheik Armandertaj. Abu. Abdul Amarmertaj. What is this meeting for? I don't get to this. Well, I am the owner of IsbellGPS.org. Thank you for coming today. You are in charge of selling the Earl. Correct. all the different refineries. Correct. Business good. Oh, yeah. It's about to become better. Really? Because I'm going to reroute people. They're going to take the long way home. Rerouting. They're going to take the long way home. It's a great song. Who's singing that song? It was... Hang on. No, don't bust my thunder here. I bust people's thunder. You don't bust my thunder. I'm a chic. You do not speak to me like this. All right. I'm sorry. It was the same...
Stupid group did the logical song. They did logical. So illogical. They did Super Tramp. I believe it was Super Tramp. I wanted to say Super Tramp. You've already stolen parody today. You don't need any more thunder. They did Breakfast in America. They did Logical Song. They did Take a Long Way Home. Oh, you know, and then they did that one that those gay dudes from the Goo Goo Dolls redid years later. Give a little bit. Give a little bit of my love for you. Doesn't say this. Goo Goo Dolls is on repeat in Woods' car. True. Fair enough. That's quite a theory, Jay. Yeah, it is. You know, I like to bust them when I can. How's that? I like to, you know. Bust it out there and show you what I got. Weird things that I come up with. Well said. Yeah. That old hackneyed phrase. I like to bust things out and then you'll see it because I'm right. Well said. When you got it, you got to show them. Okay. Oh, boy. Are you guys ready to play a little smart guy? Yes. Smart guy. 570-1949. I will give you up to seven clues.
to figure out a person, place, or thing. You get the pick. What do we have as a prize, Jay? A pair of tickets to the 2011 Body and Art Expo, the largest tattoo and body art expo going on through November 20th. Okay. That's so hard. All right. Now, here's the deal. I'm going to give you seven clues. You get the pick. You want a person, place, or thing. And you get to play along in your car. So even if you're not playing the game, you're still playing because you're listening to it. Yeah, you just get to pick a person, place, or thing. I'll give you seven clues what that person, place, or thing is. And if you can get it within seven, you're a smart guy and you win tickets to the Body Art Expo. Let's see. Let's get to it. Our first contestant, M1 Jamie from San Marcos. Are you there? Yes, sir. Okay, man. What do you want? A person, place, or thing? Let's go person. Okay. All right. Now, you got seven.
guesses to figure out who this person is, okay? Seven clues. So I give you the clue. You take a guess. If you don't have any idea, you don't have a guess, just say pass, okay? Okay. Does that make sense? Yes, sir. Here we go. I am female. Take a guess. Pass. What? Yeah, you got to take a guess at who the person is. All right. Okay. Let's see. I have one Damien from Chula Vista. Are you there? Yeah. Okay. I am a female. Miss Obama. Incorrect. Oh, shoot. I am seen on daytime TV. Nope. I am smart, savvy, and opinionated. Are you in Third Rock? No, you've got to tell me the name of the person. Oh, I forgot her name. She's from Saturday Night Live. I'm moving on to question four. My show's title shares my name. Oh, the chick from Seinfeld.
No, no, no, no. I write books like keep it simple, stupid. You write books? I am a sharp, no-nonsense lawyer. I don't watch any of that. And finally, New York's mayor appointed me family court judge. My guy. Holy cow. I love you. It took seven guesses to get there, but you got it, bro. You got it. That's right. Hang on the line. M1 Junebug from Oceanside. Would you like a person, place, or thing? Let's do a thing. You got it. All right. You got seven clues in order to get it. And here we go. I'm a mammal. A tiger. No. I'm carnivorous. Lion. Yeah! Wow! That's my dad.
Well, the toque. Now that. That's good. That's a smart guy. That's how you do it. Hang on the line. Let's see. M1, Brian from Vista. You there? Yes, sir. Person, place, or thing? Let's do a person. You got it. Let's do a person, all right. Seven guesses. And... This is Who Am I, okay? So I'll give you a clue before we even get started. This is not a particular person, but it is moreover a group of people. We are an English group formed in 1967. No idea. I'm sorry? No idea. All right. We originally were a four-piece band. I don't know. Two of our members make up the band's name. You want to pass? Yeah, I'll pass. Our first hit was 1968's instrumental titled Albatross. Man, way before my time passed. Our biggest success came when we moved to America. Nope. We relocated to L.A. in 1974, taking on Lindsay and Stevie. The Monkees. No. And finally, our 1977 album Rumors broke sales records.
Sorry, bro. That was seven questions. The answer... Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood Mac. Sorry about that. Sorry about that. Let's see. Oh, boy. Did you ever do that? Uh-oh. I am on one today. Now, let me look at my stickers to find out what we're doing. Hey, Jay, can you... Throw the R factor back up on the Facebook page. Absolutely. Want people to vote for us on the R factor because, well, we have a lot going against us. Fox 5 has decided to endorse my competition. Yeah. Perfect. So vote for us. Mikey ever gets stabbed in the back? And we still, I got to hear that parody that Jay did for Chris one more time. Pop it in and turn it on. Hold on.

She's doing our bit. I like it. I think this guy's ever had chewing tobacco in his gums. I think this guy's ever put his fingers about knuckle deep into some red man. I think he's ever spilled gravy on his shirt. And ate it from his finger. I think he's ever carried a comb in his back pocket. Think he's ever bought a soft pack of cigarettes? You think he's ever had egg yolk under his fingernails? I think he's ever uttered the phrase, where's my hunting knife? What do you suppose George Jones' wallet looks like? It's a clip. It's a money clip. No way. He has got a brown... Leather, some sort of like with cowboy insignia on it that says GJ on it. Guaranteed. That or a brown paper bag. Yes. And if he does have a paper clip, I guarantee it's got turquoise on it somewhere. I wonder if when he drinks whiskey, if he even goes... No. Or if it's just like down the hat. That's the face he makes when he drinks water. Yes.
His throat's not used to it. It's cold. What'd you have, George? Oh, water. What's this? Awkwafina. Burns. Burns so hard. Someone give me some whiskey to wash this down. Need a whiskey chaser. How good was City in Color? Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, man. Really, really good. I was telling our program director, Garrett, about it yesterday. He sang a song acapella that starts out acapella with the two other guys in his band. And you could hear a pin drop. You could hear a pin drop because it sounded so beautiful that the room was dead silent so they didn't miss a second of it. I don't know the name of the song. That one. Identical.
See, that was a knuckle. It was good. Ella B. says she is officially in on Dallas Green. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. You could tell. Go back and listen to our podcast from Tuesday. You're like, oh, my gosh, that's a freak of a voice. That's not even a fraction of what he's capable of. 100%. He was holding back to preserve his voice for his show. It was. I left being like, man, that's unfair. Yeah. That's just sent from the heavens. My wife made me yesterday make her a full CD because she had some appointments she was driving around on. She was like, I just want to listen to it all day. She listened to it in her cube. Listen to this voice. And he sounds just like that. Better. I think he's better in person. Better in person. I was looking around the room. And I'd look around. And there were people in there.
that their mouths were open and they didn't know it. They weren't aware of the fact that their mouth was open and they were just staring. The reason I know that for a fact is A, I saw it and B, I did it. Got a new pet peeve. I got several based on that show. Oh, me too. Gosh. I know we probably all have the same one. The YouTube chairman? Yeah. We got to tell it now. We got to pull the curtain back on that story. Okay. What? How many people would you say were on the floor? A couple hundred? Yeah. At least? Say about half of them had their freaking cell phones over their head, all lit up. I did it for like a verse. I recorded a song. I recorded Day Old Hate, but I just laid the phone down. You videoed. No, I didn't. At the end. No, I took one picture. I took a photo. Oh. I took one photo. I did not video. I took a quick, I took a 30 second video. I felt kind of cheesy, but I was like, this is just, it's a freak occurrence. Right. Fine. 30 seconds, a minute, five minutes. I think there's a technique, too. This is probably okay, but this all the way up, full arms extended above your head. Yeah, well, at one point, Dallas comes on. He goes, all right, after about five songs in, he goes, listen, this next song. I see all you guys out there, amateur filmmakers. Let's put our phones down. Let's get into the moment. Let's stop tweeting. Let's stop tweeting and Facebooking. And it was a song about someone.
passing away. So it was obviously like a song that he was like, this song means a lot. Let's all just, you know. And he, I thought he said it right. He goes, sometimes we get so caught up in trying to preserve the memory that we forget that there's actually an event taking place in front of us. Absolutely. And the guy, everybody pretty much put their phones down. Yeah, the place went dark. Dark, except for the one guy right in front of me with the ponytail. And he had his lucky bootlegging gloves on. Oh, no. There were gloves with no fingertips. Fingertips cut on. And I proceeded to make a big deal about it. Woods was really upset about it. I was, too. So was the light guy. The guy that was running Dallas' lights looked over at him and shook his head and looked at him. He was pissed. I go, what do you work for, YouTube? Yeah. It was brilliant. Whole show. And my deal was. I saw it and I'm like, what a clown. But then I didn't want to miss anything. But Woods was like, through that whole song, I thought Woods was going to lose his mind. I go, babe, have you seen my bootlegging gloves? Are they still wet? I got a freaking show. I got a bootleg tonight. Dude, you know better. Have them dry before my thing. That was hilarious.
You work for YouTube? What do you work for, YouTube? Oh, my God. It was hysterical. She's got rocks. Oh, yeah. She's got rocks. I was about to pull his ponytail. I will say the coolest thing about that, I only knew two or three City in Color songs, but I wanted to stay until the very end. A lot of times, if you don't really know an artist, you're like, okay, it's kind of like, I get it, I get it. But I'm like, oh, no, I need to hear more. Jay didn't feel that way. But, you know, the thing is. Oh, gosh. Kim, listen, this guy sings like a P-word. Let's get the hell out of here. Thank God, man. Oh, my goodness. Can somebody have a male testosterone voice around here? I mean, I get it. I get it. Girls are good. Heartbreak. They're sad. God, like a damn Cure concert in here. Hey, I feel like the guy should be wearing mascara. Let's go see a Matt and Kim show. I want to get up early and go for a bike ride, so, you know. I'm sure you guys all slept in. We were supposed to have worked the next day, so you couldn't have really scheduled that too far. I did, but I figured out I had the day to myself. Now, this was a moment for all of us. He played that lick, and I was certain he was going to reference Woods. Me too. Because he taught Woods how to play it that morning. And I really did think that he thought about it. Like, it was in his head. It had to be.
Like, hey, I actually taught a guy this morning how to play this lick, so hopefully I don't screw it up. It would have been, I would have groaned two feet. Yes. I thought you were going to say groaned, like, oh. Oh, no, that's it. Would you have gone, Dallas, that was me! That's me! He's talking about me! Would you have gone, ah! No, but there were, over and over again. There was one girl that did. What's up with that girl? What's up with the concert? What was the thing the guy said? What's the deal with city and color concerts anyway? It's getting to the point where I can't go see a city and color concert without a girl yelling out, hey Dallas, I love you. Hey Dallas, you're the ass. Remember that one? Yeah, I mean we were like, oh God, shut up. And he's tuning his guitar. Yeah, he's... And they're yelling that out. I love you! He was great in between. I thought he was very funny. Great personality. I just kept telling because my BFMC, my boyfriend, Matt Commerce, is a musician. He had a gig that directly coincided with the times of...
this gig, so he missed it. The whole way home, I yapped. And you know what he did in between songs? He's like, yeah, okay, babe. I got it. He's great. He's great. Now you want to sleep with Dallas Green. I get it. I wish I was him, okay? I'm sorry I'm not him right now. I told him he could have. I'm like, it's the kind of show you would have left very inspired and taken some notes. Yeah. Oh, taken some notes? Good notes. Not one I would have taken Umbridge with. No, he likes to do that. Go to shows and see what people do. I would say, hey. I get it, all right? Hey, I understand. You said it already, okay? You said it already. I get it. All you had to say is I like him, and we leave it to death. There's a lot of people around, all right? If you're not moving forward, you're moving backward. Oh, wow. Gosh darn. Oh, man. That's pointed. No, it's not. Same goes for myself. Hey, listen. I'm just saying. He was good up there. That's all. He was handsome. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to, you know, make a fuss here. I'm just saying he was the best musician I've ever seen. He was handsome. What? I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah, I get it, babe. I get it. Fine, I'll go home and learn day-old hate. No, I don't think you get it. I'm saying that this man was, he was gorgeous. That's all I could, I mean, it's the only way I could put it, gorgeous, and the voice, nothing like it. I'll stop. One more thing.
That was great. That was a fun night, man. Gosh, that was a blast. Let's see. 570-1949 is our number if you want to call. Piers Morgan. Not going to be on America's Got Talent anymore because he wants to focus on Piers Morgan tonight. And so he is going to strictly be doing that. There was a GOP debate last night. Herman Cain. was up there. Your boy, Mike Herman Cain. Not my boy. He's not my boy. He's your boy. He's not my boy. Boy Herman Cain. That's what you always say, my boy Herman Cain. Our new bit is that if somebody is under scrutiny, we say, that's your boy. Like your boy Jerry Sandusky. Stop it. That's your boy. That's Jay's boy. Jay's boy. Get it. Anyway, one of the biggest moments last night was When Herman Cain referred to Nancy Pelosi. It's already been written. We didn't hear about it in the previous Congress because Princess Nancy sent it to committee and it stayed there. Princess Nancy. There's a moment. Rick Perry. Oh, this is rough. He couldn't remember the third government agency that he would shut down if he was elected. That is a little bit rough when that happens. It's three agencies of government when I get there that are gone.
Commerce, education, and the, what's the third one there? Let's see. Oh, five. Okay. So commerce. The people he's debating are laughing at him. Of course. Yes. Education and the EPA. Oh, good God. Gosh, it's painful. Then they start throwing out answers that are like passive aggressive. Mr. Perry. Yeah. EPA. There you go. Seriously? Seriously? You want to elect this guy? This guy? This your boy? He's obviously ridiculous, this guy. Can't even remember anything. Oh, so damning. Is EPA the one you were talking about? No, sir. No, sir. We were talking about the... I said the commerce. The other one. Trade? Trade. Something. Shoot. My wife knows she wrote it down. EPA needs to be rebuilt. There's no doubt about that. But you can't name the third one? Oh, God. The third agency of government, I would do away with the education.
Okay, in fairness to me, I forget the other thing that I'd do away with. I can't remember what it was called. But when I'm elected president, I'll get rid of it. Yeah, I got to. It's a big deal. I don't remember what it was. It's something. Let's cross that bridge when we get to it. Let's fire that bridge. Don't put the carriage before the horse. Yeah. Hey, don't put the carriage before the... What did I say? Gosh darn it, I don't remember. Pioneer. Commerce. Oh, my God. Let's see. I can't. Oh, God. No kidding. If I am his opponent, even I feel bad. Yeah. Yeah, you'd have to. It's so embarrassing. You'd have to. Is that a turning point, you think? I don't know. I'm not asking rhetorically. I don't know, dude. I mean, George Bush was in there for two terms. It's true. That's a true statement. He didn't exactly have a way with words. That's fair enough. You fooled me once. Audience started booing when they brought up Herman Cain's sexual harassment stuff. Because they don't want to talk about it, right? Well, the audience...
Thanks. Let's not talk about things that don't matter. Let's focus on the issues. Yes, please. Are there not bigger issues? We're going to pither around with these sorts of ridiculous nomenclatures. The same people that were standing outside the White House saying impeach Clinton. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly, Ellen B. Freaking exactly. Alright, are you guys ready for That's a True Statement? Oh boy. It's been already a heated day. Man. I'm going to break out in a fist fight. Here we go. A person should be friendly to everyone, but only have a very small number of close friends. If we can forget that one, because we actually, that was mine, but we talked about that the other day on the air. Yeah. Women who hyphenate their names are high ma... We did that? Oh, no we didn't. Sorry. No. Go ahead. Sorry. I wrote it so long ago. Sorry. So I guess you did this one? I did. Sorry. I just asked the best. I'm sorry. Women who hyphenate their names are high maintenance and a pain in the butt. That's a true statement. All right. Is it? Yeah.
Isn't it? It's undeniably true. Yes. I believe it's true. Really? I love you. I love you. My wife did it. Is she high maintenance? She was when she did it. No, she wasn't. She did not. Kimberly Alderman Isbell. Wait a minute. Did she do the Kimberly Alderman hyphen Isbell? It's just Kimberly Alderman. She changed her middle name to Alderman. Yeah, well, that's different than the hyphen. I said hyphen. Dude, the hyphen. will get you. It's the hyphen. You have two last names. Hillary Rodham Clinton. That's it. And that's what you know her as? Her maiden name. But isn't Rodham even just her middle name? That's her maiden name. But I'm saying, I don't even think she hyphenates. Yeah, she does. She puts the hyphen. The hyphen's like... It's your maiden name. You're not giving it up. Yeah, it means... I'll tell you what it means. It means that because I'm married doesn't change the fact that I am... This person. You don't own me. Not that I ever thought that to be good. Like, I don't think that. Well, I'm not giving up my last name, but I'm not going to hyphenate mine. Oh, wow. So you're not even going to change your last name. No. What? Wow. You guys know this. Come on. I've always believed you to be kidding. Me too. What am I going to be L-R, whatever my new last name becomes? You'll always be L-O-B.
Yeah, we will always call you L.O.B. It won't make any sense if my last name is Lauren Smith. Let's say that your name is Lauren Commerce. We're not going to call you L.C. You guys ever just put the carriage before the pioneer? All I'm saying... Or whoever you marry. Exactly. All I'm saying is that you'll always be L.O.B. And... 20 years from now, they'll be like, what? Oh, my maiden name. And we'll say, because when we met her, she was Lauren O'Brien. I like my name. Oh, we do too. We do too. Had it for 30 years. Maybe if I got married when I was like 21, I wouldn't be as attached to it. But it's been a long time held on to that name. Used to it. Wow. Pretty much midlife right now. Lauren O'Brien Commerce has such a, it rolls off the tongue. Yes, it does. But I would never do that. You'd be Lauren Commerce. Lauren Commerce. Oh. You wouldn't be Lauren Commerce. No. Man. First of all, I would never. I've never really put my eggs in one basket like that and imagine what my name would be. Haven't you? No. You've never practiced a signature? Yeah, because I'm 16. Have you not? No. Wait a minute. Why do you have a peachy folder in front of you right now that says Lauren Commerce? Why does your trapper keeper all over it say Lauren Commerce? LRC. Lauren Renee Commerce. I always thought that when you said that, you were just getting under our skin. Me too.
Doing it to get under her skin. Nope. She's doing a bit. She's taking his freaking name. She's too traditional. She is a traditional girl. Aren't you a deal breaker? What's a deal breaker? It's when you take a Vlasic and you go. And you snap it in half. It's a deal breaker. Listen. I don't believe you. I can't believe you. I won't believe you. I won't. I refuse. That is a true statement. My future husband, wherever he may be, he will have to. decide whether or not he accepts that. What if he doesn't? Well, moving on to the next one. You are on one right now. You are on one right now. That's got to be a bit. I'm praying that's a bit. More from the Mikey Show coming up on FM 94.9. And people can do that. You can call them again and say, hey, can you do better for me now? And you have done that and have saved even more money by calling AIS back. And you can't find it. I can't find it. Every time I bite into it, it goes, Lauren. I write bad reviews about them online. And Jay. She'll go on a girls trip and I'll go on like a surf trip or something. But if I have a choice.
I would rather be together. Whoa, what am I hearing? Now. On FM 94.9. Hey, now check this out. Last week we talked about adopting a family here in need, and M1's really responded. Already heard back from Miller, who came in here from Operation Santa and said M1's are already doing it. He's been on other radio stations, didn't get one nomination. He's already gotten a whole bunch from The Mikey Show alone. Which is just great. Go to operationsantasd.org if you want to do it. And by the way, that website was created by Jared at createyourdesignonline.com. So if you want to see what he's capable of and what he does, he did their website, operationsantasd.org. And it's really, really cool. And you can adopt a family. And you can dominate a family as well. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, you could tell a story and say, hey, listen, I know a family that's in need this holiday season. And, you know, tell us all about it. Can't wait for that, man. My brother Mark is in town. He is. Yeah, but I don't get to see him because he had to go today. His friend is getting married tomorrow in Catalina. And there is a giant storm heading this way.
Exactly right. Hmm. What do you do? I mean, the reason you get married on Catalina, you don't go to Catalina to go indoors. You go to Catalina because you want to be on that beautiful island, outside, in the sunshine, the whole bit. What's the boat ride over there? How far? How long? I think it's like 45 minutes. Depends on what port you leave from. It's not that bad. It's not? I thought it was like four hours or something. I mean, they're going to stay there in a hotel and the whole thing. There's a high-speed boat that you can get there. Quick. It's a high-speed ferry. From Dana Point? Yeah. Mm-hmm. But, I mean, if it rains? Yeah. Tell them to watch the reports, too, because you don't want to get in stormy waters. I know. Oh. That's what freaked me out. Yeah. I didn't even think of that. You have to tell your friend, I'm sorry, but I like my life. What if? Yeah. We were out there in 14-foot seas. Everybody on that boat that came across was barfing. Even the captain was just like.
Weren't you with Jasper? Well, we had sailed out there on one boat, and we came back against the waves, so it's not as rough. But coming there, you fill every single boat. And it was 13-foot seas, which is insane. I mean, ships were flipping over. People died. I get it. Yeah, I mean, oh, that's the worst, because you can't reschedule. It's your wedding. It's your wedding. People are flying in. He's obviously coming in town. All right. Here's another true one for you. You tell me. No one likes orange or yellow cars except the owner of the car. That's a true statement. Can't argue with that. Cannot argue. I believe this. Will not argue. 100%. Jasper loves yellow cars because we play a game called chicken and you get punched in the arm every time you see a chicken. Well, give him some time. When he's 16 and you're like, hey, I got you a yellow Corvette, he'll be like, uh-uh, Dad, I don't want it. He's like, oh, they did have the yellow car.
All right, here we go. Women who are pregnant should not receive special treatment. That is a true statement. Oh, gosh. They're just as capable. Like what? Like special treatment? Give me an example. Parking. Specialized parking up front. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Women's bodies are designed to be pregnant. They can be pregnant. The woman just ran a marathon and gave birth right afterwards. Every woman is different. Some people need to be bedridden. By the way, Nicole, right now, our new phone screener, shaking her head like that guy's got some rocks on him over there. Hey, I think that some women absolutely will have a medical condition where they will need to be treated. That's a special instance. But every single woman that's pregnant, no, I don't think so. Wow, Jay. You do not feel that a woman should be able to park. in one of those spaces that says expected mothers? I don't think so, no. I think that they're just as capable. Well, yeah, they are, but they're carrying a big load. So are you. How did we do that time that we wore bellies for a day? I did fine. Your back was hurting. Monster. So fat people should have special parking as well. But a fat person like me, you know, like I...
Don't exercise. I'm not going to produce human life. Often fat people get handicapped placards because their doctors have deemed that they have knee problems. I just don't think it's a health condition. It is. No, I'm not saying fat. I'm saying pregnant. Hey, look. I don't even open the door for a pregnant lady. If I see her coming, I shut up. I open the door for all women. She is just as capable of opening the door as an action. And when Kim was pregnant, I treated her like a queen. But I think as a whole. Why? And I was pissed off about her the whole time. That's my lady. That's somebody's baby that she's carrying. I know. But as your husband, you can treat them special. But I don't think you need parking. Oh, my gosh. Don't hold the door open for her. You know what? You should just have her liftings for you, too. I hold the door open for all ladies. I made Kim cut the grass when she was pregnant. So you think cave women had it special? Or do you think they still had to run from a dinosaur? No, they weren't involved. No, I think they were staying in a cave. Well, yeah, and they didn't have Albertsons then. Now, they had barns, but they didn't have Albertsons. Well, if they had Albertsons, they'd probably have a special place for the cave women that were pregnant. I don't think they did. The men were hunters and gatherers. The women still had to work around camp. How about this one? Because you were there. I was.
People who use tanning beds want cancer, exclamation point. That is a true statement. So you believe. Yes. Well, I'm not going to even paint it. I want you to paint it for me, Jay. It's been proven that it gives you an 80% chance, a better chance of having cancer. 80% higher chance if you use the tanning bed? Yes. Proven. Even if you use the, what do you call it? Motion? Yeah, bronze voyage that I have. That just enhances it. No, what if you use... It might as well just say Samsonite on your forehead because you are on your way to a leather bag. Really? Yes. And so you believe that if anybody goes in a tanning bed, they are just inviting cancer. 100%. They know it's coming. They might be more susceptible to it, but they don't want it. With dips and he doesn't want mouth cancer. Might as well. Might as well want cancer. He knows what he's in for. Says you. It says everybody. It says everybody. It's like you drink alcohol. I mean, you're not begging to be. I guess you want to be an alcoholic or want liver disease. No. It's an assumed risk you're willing to take. And it's assumed. It's just like you've had sex unprotected. You could have gotten herpes. I don't drink alcohol every day. Don't. You don't have to drink it every day to get liver disease. Pretty much. I did not know that the.
Stapp was a high. It's made up. No, it's not. It's a real deal. Trust me, I just got back from the dermatologist. I know the facts. People who don't respond to calls, emails, and texts within 15 minutes don't want to talk to you. That's a true statement. Well, I mean, I think that that is 100% correct if the person saw it. These days? You can't get away from it. Oh, yeah, you can. No, you can't. Well, these days you're getting texted, emailed, called, and everything, so you can't do everything at once. Woods. Yes. Unless you're in person with people. You texted me yesterday morning on our day off. Now, I didn't see that text for a couple of hours. That's ridiculous. How come? Because you should, we should always. We have these smartphones. We pay a lot of money for these phones.
They should be at the ready all the time. I disagree. They should. And with me, they are. You always know when you write your boy Woods, you're going to get a prompt response. Always. It's for you to use the convenience of your use. That's why you pay your cell phone bill. That's why you pay for the phone. It's not for other people's convenience to get a hold of you. And I'll have you know I do want to talk to you. Do you? Yes. And so sometimes I don't respond for a couple hours. That means you don't want to talk? No, that is not true. I haven't seen it. Yeah, I haven't either. You've seen it. You've heard it. You've seen it. I haven't heard it for sure. You got... Always off. I got... If I'm on my laptop and I get an email, I hear the same thing. We all have apples. We're all at the same bit. Mine might as well not have sound. Fine. If you... I leave my phone off, too. But I always am... I'm constantly going... See, that's a problem. Yeah, that's... You're addicted. No, I don't... I'm not addicted. I want to make sure that somebody doesn't need me. What about in the old days when we had answering machines? We're not in the old days. We are now. We are here and now. Why do we need immediate response? I may be on the soccer field with Jasper. Why did you buy an iPhone? I may be on the surf. If I need to email, if I need to do things, I can do them. It's at my convenience. That's why I pay the software. Happy freaking birthday. Yeah, it is happy birthday. It's my phone. Happy birthday, everyone. Thank you. You all suck. Bye, all you mean Jay.
I had to take a shower yesterday after Woods texted me, and I was like, I have to hurry up and get out so I can make sure that when he texts me back, I'm available. Otherwise, he'll think I hate him. You've got to have a screw loose to go in for that sort of thing. Call 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. I've got the world on a tail. So what if I like to surf every day? On FM 94.9. Welcome back. It's the Miguel show. My mom made tacos last night. She hasn't made tacos for a long time. Couldn't go. Couldn't go. I watched The Boys and it was stressful. Stressful.
To watch the boys. Yeah, stressful. Were you by yourself? No. Rebecca was, she was talking to a buddy and asked if I could watch the kids for a couple hours. No problem. And then I smelled poop. And I was like, oh, uh-oh, oh no. Well, it won't be that long. It won't be that long. Maybe I could just, I'll just, just wait it out. How dare. Now. 5 p.m., she's supposed to be done. 5 p.m. comes, 5 p.m. goes. 5.05. When did you smell the poop? Yeah. What time? 4. 4.30. Oh, my God. 4.45. Calling CPS. Yes. They show people like you on Hoarders. I don't know what. They're little kids running around doo-doo in their diaper. I'm not good at it.
Well, hey, listen. You're not good at it. Here's what you do. I don't know what I'm doing. Just clean house. Let them run around naked until she gets on or puts them something on. What do you mean you don't know what you're doing? You take a wipey and you wipey their buddy. And then you put them in a new diaper. That's boom, bang, bing. Get some pull-ups. Where are they? What do you mean, where are they? You don't know where they are? You are a monster. Have you ever changed one? Yeah. One? How many fingers? Usually there's a changing table or there's a spot in their room where their stuff is. I've changed more poopy diapers than you and I don't have kids. Hey, listen, when I have a kid, if I have a kid, I'm not going to be signing up for the deal. But if I'm there by myself, I know I got to. I will be the guy that goes, babe, babe, will you get this? Because I do it with the dogs. How long did you wait? Honestly, honest cap. Which kid was it? Lukey. That surprises me. Yeah, and you like him. Oh, you like him. You like him. You love Luke. Yeah. I'm surprised. I thought it'd be Ryan. Man. At first, you probably thought it was Ryan. Of course he did. And then about three. Oh, boy. I'll have you know, I am so sweet to Ryan. I love the bit. I don't know how to do it.
I don't know how. I wish I did, but I don't know how. Jay hates that bit more than anything. If I only knew how, I could do it. More than anything. At least Mikey likes pregnant women. Yeah, at least Mike supports pregnant women. I love pregnant women. No, I like getting them pregnant, but I don't like when they're pregnant. I think they're very capable of taking care of themselves as well. Girl, get your own sandwich. Open your own door. If we had a TV show, like a Saturday Night Live, we would all, the three of us, me, L.O.B. and Woods, we would all take turns doing Jay, like dressed as Jay. Yes. Even L.O.B. Yes. And we would do a thing where we were driving the car and we're driving home and we're like, gosh darn that guy. I can't believe that didn't change that. Makes me sick. Talking to himself. Talking to himself. I didn't think, Kim, you there? I didn't think it was possible for me to hate this guy more. And I do. And I freaking do. I can't believe it. Yeah, I get very anxious. Very anxious. The thing. I don't blame you. Did you break down and change it or did she eventually come home? Oh. Hey, Hillary. Hi. She eventually came home. She came home. She was home the whole time. Oh, she was? She was there. She is. She is. And he'll admit it. And listen, like I said.
When I have a kid, if I do, babe, babe, babe. But if I'm there and I'm watching and I'm on duty, it's my call. Here's what you got to understand. I'll screw it up. I beg you to try to understand. We're begging. Hang on. No way. Every marriage has like a dynamic. Sure, yes. And you'll hear something about some couple and you'll be like, how can you do that? That's true. You know, but. I know I got stuff that, you know, like I probably do something or she does something that you would be like, what? I don't think so. You wacky married people. No. It is true, though. Rebecca is perfect. Rebecca is perfect. She is an angel. She is. She is an angel. She is an angel of life. Nike, on the other hand, is a monster. The three of us. A lazy, lazy monster. The three of us. Me, you, Woods. All of our wives. St. Kim. Think about what your wife puts up with. She puts up with you guys. Creep rapist. You guys are monsters. Hillary, Jay said that pregnant women are just as capable and shouldn't have any special privileges. I heard the tail end of that. I just got out of the gym. They shouldn't have any special privileges. No special parking at malls. Maybe it should be like seven months on they get the special parking. Because when you're huge and you're hot.
And you've got a million things going on. It is. Yeah. Oh, I've seen it. Yeah, for sure. Four times. The doctors will tell you it's good for you to walk. Totally. But why not? Why not throw us a little bone? Yeah, give him a little bone. Massive and uncomfortable. I was sick my whole pregnancy. Well, that's different than your doctor could give you a handicap parking. Oh, please. For morning sickness? Well, it depends on how bad it is. Oh, Lauren, just you wait. No, I'm just saying you're not going to get a handicap placard. Right, right, right. You can get a temporary one for a few weeks. You don't feel good. You just don't feel very good. Question about morning sickness. Yeah. When you get that. It's not morning. It's 24 hours. 24 hours. Yeah. Okay, so when you have that, does it feel like the flu? Like when you have the flu and you're like, I'm going to throw up. Yeah, oh yeah. It's the same exact thing? No, because it's, well, I can't speak for every woman that's had morning sickness. I had it and mine never ended. So it was like a constant.
nausea and I mean constant like I was I was on the air at 91x at the very beginning of my pregnancy and I would lay my head down on the mixer board between, while I was playing songs, and I was constantly nauseous. And then I got hired by another radio station, bless their hearts, and I would keep a trash can in the studio. So they finally put me on a medication called Zofran that is supposed to squash the nausea, right? And it helped, but I was still a little nauseous, and I tried around five months to go off it, and as soon, I went a day without it, and I was puking at my brain. Oh, man. Now, is it this? Pulling over the car. You can park way back at the mall. I said that's different. It's when she has a medical condition in this case. But every pregnancy is different. Yeah, exactly. Every pregnancy is different. I'm judging jury. So why not just err on the side of they're uncomfortable. So if you're that sick, are you going to the mall? You might have to go to the store. Oh, you have to go to the mall. Because you might need some new high hills. What are hills? What are high hills? You mean like the Andes Mountains? Gosh, you still got to do stuff. I think the reason, and it may be wrong. It was awful.
But I think the reason is because, like, there's another set of hormones being created. Yeah, sure, sure. And so they're spilling out into your system. Oh, God, yeah. Oh, my God. It was horrific. It's different for, I mean, some people, they have to go to the bathroom 24-7. Some people have terrible back aches. I mean, it's totally different. So I just think, why not just assume they're uncomfortable? I'm going to tell a story real quick. And, Jay, I just want to ask you to not make. disgusting comments about my wife. And I'm doing that preemptively so that you don't. Sorry. But I thought this was funny about my wife. This is my wife all the time. Now or when she was pregnant? Before and now. Before and now. When she was pregnant. And this was the funniest thing. She would get out of the shower and she would go to... the air conditioner vent, where the air conditioner was blowing the coldest, and soaking wet, stand underneath the air conditioner, and it still couldn't get her cool enough. Oh, God, especially with twins, I bet. And she was constantly chewing ice. She just wanted ice, ice, ice. She wanted to cool down, cool down, cool down. And I said, I think it's because you're working. Like, you know, you're constantly working, you know, making it.
Yes, absolutely. So it would be easy for her to have to park in the back of the parking lot. She ain't special. That's a special. I don't think you can make a blanket statement is what I'm saying. We're going to treat people special in Yuma? My point is, why not? Yeah, why not? Because, Hillary, women can run marathons. It ain't fair. I drive by handicaps. I just want to treat women equally. That's an exception. That's not a rule. There's one woman that ran a marathon. I see pregnant women running all the time. Hillary, what do you have coming up? Just give them a spot. I grabbed a couple of the bands that are going to play the Holiday Hootenanny this year. Also, a leftover request from yesterday. Poor guy. I promised him I'd get it on, and I didn't. So I'll get it. it on soon. And easy. Chris will miss you. Goodbye, Chris. Welcome to Cole. Oh, wow. Bye, Chrissy. Chrissy, we love you. That's our last day with Chris. Oh, yeah, she's getting big. Bless her heart. I know. Our little baby's all grown up. Yep, Chris is out the door.
Welcome, Nicole. That is Chris. I thought you meant Chrissy on Fox News, the hottie weatherly. No, no, no. Or Chris. I'm blowing him kisses. I'm loving him. Hillary is up next. And we will see you tomorrow morning at 6. Mike Shiz out.
