Tuesday November 9, 2010
Hoyle is stoked to have his very own microphone and bedazzles the girls’ pants off with his surfer lingo. Will Wade Phillips getting fired mean he won’t visit the Mikey Show anymore? Still stranded in Green Bay, Wade calls in wanting a job with 94/9. News of the I-5 expansion has Jay ask the question we’re all thinking. Conan is back on TV and comic con dweebs can still get tickets thanks to a computer glitch. Hoyle drops some more local surfing knowledge and refers to Sienna as “Juggs”. BFMC shows his romantic side when he picked up LOB at the airport then tried to get frisky with Lauren while her uncle (ironically named Matt as well) was listening in on the phone. Woodsy’s not cool with Chad Ochocinco’s tired act. Planters decided Mr. Peanut needed a makeover so they called in ex-cokehead Robert Downey Jr. George Bush goes on TV to promote his memoir he “wrote” and talks about his biggest moments as president. Jay is an anti-Texist and George Bush can still drink you under the table if he wanted to. Hoyle attempts the Incorporator as he dials up a Boot Barn and you have to listen to the podcasts if you missed how he did but let’s just say he may have peed his pants! LOB reveals the origins of Other Mother and her possible retirement before a voice mail message from OM is played while Lauren squirms in her chair. Mikey’s rehab April Fools joke is revealed during Lindsay Lohan’s mom audio. Radio Charades has one happy big-boobed lamb! LOB is a skilled beat-boxer, amazing the rest of the cast. A big debate erupts with the pro-huggers versus the no-hugger (Mikey). A certified ninja calls in to evaluate Mikey’s ninja skills. LOB, Sienna, and Jay have never eaten at Arbys! An eavesdropping role-play session will test your listening skills and tickle your funny bone. The Incredible Biz Markie calls in and talks about Yo Gabba Gabba and his hip hop career. Garrett stops in for some hot or not with the gang and to promote the 94/9 anniversary bash. Garrett sees little difference between Mikey and Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander. Kanye says Beyonce’s video is still better than electricity, fresh running water, and the air you breathe.

Welcome to the Mikey Show. Let's do this, sucker. Tell everybody what we're going to do at 730. Really? You're going to go through this? Hoyle's happy because he's got his own microphone right now. We have a microphone, an extra mic in the studio, so our station manager, Hoyle, gets his own mic. That's right. Testing, testing. One, two. This works. You're on. Perfect. Is this thing, you guys think I have enough bass? Yeah. Oh, wow. I don't think the bass is taken away from the vocals. I think you're fine. What about sibilance? Do I have sibilance? Sibilance. I hear a little bit of a snare. There's too much snare. Yeah, give me a little less hi-hat. You're popping your peas. Do I need to put a windsock on here? See, I know all the terminology and everything. Well, big day for you. Yeah, today I'm going to do the Incorporator at 7.30. Stealing bits real good. I'm going to show you how it's done. I know how it's done. I invented it. Wow, I can't believe you're letting him do that. Well, you know, the guy's my boss. What can I say? Today, yeah, we're going to call, what is it, Boot Factory or something? You know what it's called. I don't. Boot, Boot Source? Boot Farm, I think. The Boot Barn. How would I know? Has he never been to Boot Barn? No, but I'll tell you where I have been. I've been to South Coast Surf Shop.
Because I'm California. Wow. I know. You do like to wear Hurley, apparently. Allegedly. I've never seen it. Why do you have an MVP boot barn thing on your keychain if you've never been there? I'll tell you, L.O.B., it's outside of the studio that I do. In here, I have to play a role. Oh, okay. All right? So that's why the keychain. But when I'm out of here and out of these doors, then I get to be the real Hoyle, which is Quicksilver. Hurley. No fear. No fear. Affliction. Affliction. Ed Hardy. Ed Hardy, definitely. All your bits. Let me tell you something, girl. If you saw me out of here at the real badass nightclubs like Gordon Beers. Oh, well. Gordon Beers. Applebee's. Do you wear the spurs on your boots there, too? I don't wear that. I guess you do. No, I don't. I wear flip flops like a surfer. And when I take them off, Sienna. I have a tan where the flip-flops fit in between my big toe. Do some of your surfer talk that you were doing yesterday. What up, brah? That's pretty good. What size board do you surf? Big old long board. What size is it? 12 or 15. I can't remember. Big difference. Three feet. You would fall under my spell.
Would I? If you saw me wear my Ed Hardy hat. Oh, no thanks. Please no. No thanks. See, all the girls pretend, but then when they see it, Woods, they just start throwing their clocks off. Bedazzle their pants off. That's right. I bedazzle them right into my bedroom. When mama's out of town. Which is never. Not just when mama's out of town. Do you put a sock on the door? Mama's a roommate. Do you put a sock on the door? Yes. Does she respect? Yes. Oh, my God. It's like the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughan said, when the house is rocking, don't come knocking. Just in there knocking boots real good? I don't wear boots. I wear flip-flops. Do you have glow-in-the-dark, like, planet stickers on your door? Guaranteed on the ceiling. I know. I'm telling you. Hoyle is a trip, and he's going to try to incorporate her. First time ever that it hasn't been Woodsy doing the Incorporator. Woodsy's been dethroned. I, you know, dropped a ball last week. I missed one, and look what happens. And that's what happens. Yeah, look what happens. Word of the day today is ninja. Ninja. Sometime between now and ten. Ninja would be said. Why are they so funny when you say them? I love it. I love it. Ninja. So the word of the day today will get you four-pack tickets to Snow Jam with the...
Lift ticket included. And five boot camp or yoga classes at Fact Performance Center in Carmel Mountain, which is really, really cool. That place will get you in some serious shape. And the boot camp deal is great. So is the yoga classes. It's really cool. That's right. You never know. But anyway, we'll be giving away five classes. So it'll be really good. You'll love it. And the snow jam thing's cool, too, so be listening. Okay, so a few things to cover right off the bat. One of them, of course, is yesterday the big news was Wade Phillips. Yeah. Out. I called it. Yeah. I called it yesterday morning. I had a gut feeling that after that embarrassing 45-7 loss to the Packers where nothing worked, nothing looked right, he looked flabbergasted and dumbfounded the whole game. You know, there was no way he was going to make it through the day. And Jerry Jones has never fired somebody midseason. Yeah, and I asked you, I said, do you think that he'll be able to make it through the season? You said no, you thought he was going pretty much right away. Yep. And he did. And he did. Out. Crazy. Wow. The thing with Wade is that Wade came in, took over for Bill Parcells, and Parcells was a no-nonsense dude who...
Was real big on accountability. Yes. And he was a machine. Bill Parcells was more machine than anything. You know, he didn't refer to his players by name even sometimes. He referred to T.O. as the player. The player. Didn't even refer to him as Terrell Owens. He was... Just a number and a player and fit into a scheme. And if he didn't perform, and if players didn't perform regardless of how big the name was, Parcells would fire them. Yeah, you just wouldn't play. Yeah, you wouldn't play. Now, when Wade Phillips got in there, it was almost the polar opposite of that. Wade Phillips' deal was, it's not my team, it's their team. It's the team's team. Call that a player's coach. Yeah, definitely a player's coach. Call that a player's coach. But the team didn't respond to it. No. They didn't. And he's supposed to be this defensive guru. Man, the defense has been terrible. The offense has been terrible. They lost Romo for the year. They're saying maybe back in mid-December, but why rush now? I mean, you're 1-7, so let the guy heal. The expectation at the beginning of the year was Super Bowl.
Period. I mean, Jerry Jones said... They're playing there. Yeah. They're playing in Dallas this year, and they said, hey, this is the year we got the talent. And I'll tell you what, you look at that team, they've got the talent. There's no question they got the talent. Oh, yeah. But it's not coming through in the record, man. One and seven is just not going to cut it. Real quickly, our phone number here is 570-1949 if you want to call us. And our text is 949mikey at gmail.com. If you want to get a hold of us by text, you can call us or text us if you want to talk about the Wade Phillips thing and what your opinion on it is. Also, we're going to be talking about the expansion of i5. And so I want to talk to you about that. And Conan made his debut last night with his new show. on TBS. And so we'll talk about that. Plus we have a new date for when the Comic Con passes are going on sale here in San Diego. They changed it. And we'll be telling you about that. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Woods is our sports guy. LOB is our assistant producer. Sienna is our news girl. Jay is our producer. And our phone screener is Well. It's Well. It's Well. It's Well. That's right.
Let's see. Wade Phillips on the phone. Hi, Wade. Hello. How are you? Hi. Yeah. Y'all got room for me there? No, we don't, Wade. We don't. Y'all here? No, we do not have room for you here. I'm sorry. Did you hear the news? Heard you got fired. I got fired. Jerry Jones let you go. Very sad news. Where are you? He sent me a text. I'm in Green Bay. I told you. You're still in Green Bay? Oh, no. Yeah, he sent me a text and said, you're out, chump. By text? Wow. He said, you're out, and don't come back. I'll put a box outside. It's got all your stuff in it, all your cheeseburgers. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. You're telling me that part of your personal affects are cheeseburgers. I had a grill there. So in your office you would have, you know, like let's say maybe you would have like a football that commemorates. Pencils and pens. Pens. Pad. Pad. That was there that I really liked. In your office? Yeah. And you had cheeseburgers? I had cheeseburgers there, and he just said he's going to leave them outside of Valley Ranch. So he packed them all. So he packed up your personal things, your pens, your pad, all that, and your cheeseburgers in a box? Everything's in a box. I wouldn't recommend eating those cheeseburgers. I know. Sometimes a man's got to do what his man's got to do. Yeah. Yeah, well. Y'all hiring?
No, I told you, Wade, we're not. Whatever, phone screen. I can do phones. I can get Mikey's coffee, wheatgrass, whatever. Wade Phillips on the line with us. Just let go by the Cowboys yesterday. Well, Wade, you know, first of all, what we need to do is we need to get you out of that Hampton Inn. Yeah. Yeah. Your wife, you said, won't even talk to you. She's so embarrassed. My kids. Yeah. It's just embarrassing. I don't know what to do. I'm here. They're trying to kick me out of here, too. Right now, on your TV screen, it has a still photo of Wade Phillips looking confused. In a robe. In a robe. And below that, it says, on phone, Wade Phillips. I need some help. And if anybody knows of anybody looking for, you know, anybody, I can do anything. I can fry chicken. Yeah. You can. I've done it all.
Maybe call North Turner. You guys have sort of the same laid-back attitude. Yeah. Maybe you guys worked well together. It didn't work well for me, and it ain't working for North either. Yeah. Yeah, well. Y'all need defensive coordinator? No, we're actually in the top five in defense. Shoot. What else? Is there anything else you want to apply for? Well, I know y'all need special teams, right? Yes, we do. Maybe I'll apply for that. You can't play special teams. Well, I could coach. Yeah, but you don't coach that. You coach defense or head coach. Well, look what I've done as a head coach. Not very good, Wade. Not very good. I was fired by text yesterday, Wade Phillips. Get lost, chump. All right. Well, Wade, we love you. We wish you the best. Hopefully you get out of the Hampton Inn. Maybe there's like a peewee league or something like that. Yeah. Why not? You know, never. I saw Taco Bell was hiring. Oh, there you go. You don't want to discount anything. Don't discount anything. Don't just brush it off. Yeah. There may be some sort of a peewee team out there. That's funny. I'm saying. Stay open. Don't stay open to things. Are you playing? No, I'm not. I'm not. That's funny. I'm not. We're just going to start hurling personal jabs or whatever. No. Sorry. I get it. I was actually being serious. And I'm short. I get where you would say that, yeah, Pop Warner, the Pop Warner thing. I think I'm going to go to the movies. Have you all seen Inception? It's not in the theaters anymore.
Well, it's just a dollar movie. That's about all I got left. That's all you have. Good luck with that. It's the only thing you're going to be able to see, Wade. Bye, y'all. Bye. That's Wade Phillips. Poor guy. He's a little slow in the draw there. Poor dude. He's looking for anything at this point. He can take anything he gets. He can take what he can get. 570-1949. Call us up. Say hello or text 949mikey at gmail.com. Let's see. So, yeah. There's an expansion. that they're looking into for the I-5, which there's a few different ideas out there. Yeah. My issue is, well, it doesn't matter what they do. By the time they complete it, it'll be time to do it again. You think? There's so many people. Yeah. I don't know, man. The expansion they did all the way past Del Mar Fairgrounds helped huge. Yeah. Yeah. Well, the question is will they or won't they, obviously. And there's five different options. And there's a November 22nd deadline for commenting on the plan. So I'm going to give you the options. But first of all, it would entail 14 lanes on the Interstate 5 from Oceanside to La Jolla. But what is there now? Ten, maybe? Ten, yeah, there's ten. So there's going to be more lanes. Now, one of the options is doing nothing, leaving it as it is, which a lot of people want to do. There's another option of...
leaving the I-5 as four lanes in each direction, and then expanding the highway to 14 lanes, which includes two managed lanes, is what they're calling them, which is in each direction, there would be, it says, in each direction, which would be used by carpools, express buses, and drivers willing to pay for the pleasure of driving. So you'd get like a fast track pass. Yeah. You could pay for it? Everybody would. Yeah. Everybody would. Really? To not sit in traffic? We don't have to worry about it. Would you pay $30 a month to not sit in traffic? Oh, my God. Yeah, but think about, I mean, there's fast track up in L.A. and stuff, and not everyone uses it. They don't? No. Not a bunch of people? Uh-uh. Because there's that road. Like, if we were to drive up to L.A., you can go a fast track way, and not a lot of people do that. Oh, boy, I did. 73? I did. Yeah, I do it. Yeah. But once you get in L.A., you're toast. But the drive up there without driving on the 5? And sitting in traffic is great. That's what we did last Friday. For sure. Now, the craziest plan is calling for four flyover ramps. It would basically feed cars directly into the managed lanes, and it would widen each side of the highway by 75 feet. Oh, wow. Yeah. Really? It's going to make traffic. The construction will make traffic ungodly. I would rather just have a flying car. Well, yeah. I know. Just get this going. I'd rather have something like just beam me to where I want to go. Yeah. Well, if this...
Everybody get in. We're going. That would be so nice. If this does pass, then there will be some construction. Depending on what is chosen, construction would begin in 2013. Of course. Why not expand the train system? That's what I don't understand. Who wants to do that? Come on, LB. Why not? I tried to do the train thing. At one point, it just takes way too long. It's complicated. I don't mind the length of the ride. Me neither. As long as I don't have to sit in traffic. I really don't. If you can get on a train and go, I used to take the trains for years. I didn't have a car in Chicago. It's dynamite. You get to sit there and read the paper, drink your coffee. It just doesn't stop conveniently enough. Yeah, that's the problem. It's the walk. Well, they give an example here. If you're traveling from Oceanside to La Jolla with these new lanes, they're saying with the new toll lanes, you would save 10 minutes over the same car traveling how it is right now. The freeway is right now. So you'd be saving 10 minutes. Isn't that much? It isn't that much, but the problem is the toll that it takes on you mentally. Yeah, that's true. You go nuts. You're mad when you get to work. You're trapped. You're trapped. What else? Is that it? They say that if you're going from Oceanside to La Jolla and you don't pay to be in the toll lanes, but there are the extra lanes, you'd be shaving one minute off of your clock. Oh, boy. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Go ahead, do it. That's terrible. Aren't we in massive debt in the city? Well, not just the city. The state is massive.
Billion? I think $8 billion. Oh, yeah. It's $8.6, I believe. Billion dollars. Yep. That's how much we're in debt. Maybe we tighten the belt a little bit. So much money. It's worth it, though. You'd save an entire minute. Think about it. It's like I'm running the state. The way I run with my money is the way that California runs. Yeah, maybe we don't spend gajillions of dollars on a high-speed train from L.A. to San Francisco. Which we voted for. I thought it was like out to the desert or something. Is it just me? Because I think I hate going on the 15 freeway. That one seems worse than the 5. Yeah, it is. Why don't they do something with the 15? They did a little bit. They expanded a little bit of it. And that's the other deal. If they start construction in 2013, by 2020 it'll be done. Because it does. It seems like it takes a decade. M1 Nubian Prince, L.O.B., from Sarah Mesa, is on the line. Good morning, y'all. How are you doing? Good morning. Good morning. Oh, L.O.B., I already miss you, girl. You do? I'm back. I'm back in the saddle again. L.O.B. likes her Nubian princes. I do. That's right.
Excuse me while I whip this out. What's going on? Hey, brother. Dude, I'm a huge Cowboy fan. Actually, I can talk to you about freeways, too, but I'm a huge Cowboy fan, and I kind of want to talk to Woods about what he thinks about Jason Garrett. It's terrible. I think it's terrible. Yeah, me too. It's terrible. This is a guy who was the hottest assistant in the NFL a couple years ago. He had at his disposal the Ravens head coaching job and the Falcons head coaching job. Have we said, by the way, that he's the – Yeah, he is now the new head coach. He was already the interim because he was the offensive coordinator and they promoted him too. They promoted him and, I mean, it's a stopgap until the end of the year. They had to get Wade out. They had to shake something up to get those guys motivated. And I think Garrett – Jason Garrett. Jason Garrett is not – I don't – unless the guy goes 8-0 for the rest of the year, I don't think he's going to get another shot. Terrible. Terrible. And he is. He did what the offense was weighed out. Yeah. Well, yeah. I mean, and, you know, I think you're going to enjoy seeing Jason Garrett for about eight weeks. And then after that, you know, they're looking at the names I heard are Cower, which they said there's no way he'll do it. There's no way. There's no way. They said, you know, until, to be honest with you, being a Yankee fan is like being a Cowboy fan too. Yeah. Until your owner can give up some control,
you're never going to win. When George Steinbrenner used to have his hands in all the pies, it didn't work. Once he kind of said, all right, what I'm doing isn't working. I'm going to sit back. I'm going to let baseball men run this team. Dynasty. Well, that's what Jerry Jones, his ego is so big. He's like, no, I'm going to bring in the best players. I'll get the best players. Maybe they're not the best players for that team or that scheme that they're running or that offense just because they're the biggest names. And until he lets go, Cowboys are in deep. Yeah, he's a micromanager. He comes down the field and everything. He's on the field. It's just like – and Bill Cowher would be like, absolutely not. I don't want any part of this. But I heard John Gruden is a possibility. But I don't know, man. I think Garrett's a terrible call. Garrett. Garrett. I think he's a terrible call, and I don't think you're going to see him past the end of the year. Let's see. M1 Paparazzi from Oceanside. What's up? Good morning. I drive an average of 40,000 to 50,000. miles a year in San Diego. I'm used to driving these freeways all the time. And I've driven up to Long Beach plenty of times to work as well. And I never use those HOV lanes in Long Beach, even though it'll cut a little bit of time off, because they average $6 to $10 for one way. Wow. That will kill you day to day. You guys, I had that when I lived in Dallas, and my drive to work was about 38 miles. And it was tollway, the whole way there.
And it was like $40 every week and a half or something, and it just kills you. Because you can buy those passes, right? Yeah, that's what it was. It was a toll tag, and it just debits your account. Dallas has the worst traffic, right? Oh, yeah, it's terrible. The one on the 15 goes from when it's not that crowded to cheap, and then it gets more expensive as it gets more crowded. It's weird. Conan O'Brien made his debut last night on TBS. He's back on television as of last night. The work thing is this, though. I put myself and my staff through this crazy huge ordeal, all because I refused to go on at midnight, okay? And so I work, you know, and then I get this job at 11. It's supposed to be a big deal. Then yesterday, daylight savings time ended. Right now, it's basically midnight. I'm an idiot. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. So, yeah, Conan came back. And this was another pretty good line that he had. I know what you guys are thinking. Hey, it's the guy from Twitter. That's what you're thinking right now. I always think, you know. Wait, you mean you're Kanye West? Shut up! Pretty good for a show. He had a lot of people kind of welcoming him with video messages and stuff like that. One of them is Ricky Gervais, who I think is hysterical. British guy.
He's the Michael Scott in the original version of The Office from Britain. He's really funny, kind of filthy. Created The Office. Yeah, he created The Office. But he sent a video message to Conan to welcome him back to TV. I'm fortunate. I have many, many very good friends who've been very kind to me in the last year. Well, guess what? A very good friend of mine sent in a tape to wish us well on the new show. It's very exciting. Let's take a look. Hi, Conan. I'm really sorry things didn't work out. at your last gig. But I just wanted to wish you the very best of luck with your new show on TBS. I've got a really good feeling about this one. Good luck. As I'm here, maybe I should sort of bang a few more outs in case you need them down the road. Hi, Conan. I'm really sorry about what happened to you. I'm a huge fan of a theme network. You're going to be a great fit there. Go get them, buddy. Okay, one more. Hi, Conan. You know what? Screw the Food Network. Their loss is Good Morning Dayton's game. You're doing the weather next time I'm in Western Ohio. Okay, just one more. Hi, Conan. Listen, don't beat yourself up about what happened in Dayton. Now you're back where you belong. With a new show and a national audience.
I will definitely be tuning in just as soon as I sign up for satellite radio. That's pretty good. That's funny. Yeah. So he's back. And he got Andy Richter back, too. That's cool. He's working with Andy Richter because I guess Andy didn't have a lot going on. And so two of them are reunited. Comic-Con. Yep. We had heard that Comic-Con was going to go. They were going to start putting their four-day passes. On sale? And then they said, oh, we changed our mind. Well, no, they went on sale about a little over a week ago. The single day passes and the four day passes. And then they had something crazy go on with their website. They only sold 21 badges. And then there was some kind of technical glitch. So now you're given another opportunity to get the badges. So don't worry. And that day is November 22nd. Oh, that's cool. Tickets are going to be on sale again. All those nerds running that thing, they got a technical glitch. 6 a.m. Pacific time. 6 a.m. Yep.
Let me tell your story in my situation. I was talking to this girl from the U.S. Nation. The way that I met her was on tour at a concert. Biz Marquis, a guy that sings Just a Friend. He will be on the telephone with us here on the Mikey Show later on. Nice. He's on Yo Gabba Gabba, which is a kid's show. My son loves Yo Gabba Gabba. I know that Hillary's kid loves Yo Gabba Gabba. And so we're going to be talking to Biz about Yo Gabba Gabba coming to San Diego. We're going, and it's going to be at the sports arena. They take everything on the TV show, and they bring it to the sports arena, and they make a half a billion dollars. Oh, yeah. He's good. Oh, yeah, he is. Oh, I love it. Hey, yesterday, Woodsy reported on SDSU's basketball team. A couple of these guys on the SDSU basketball team were being accused of beating a dude up at Stingery Nightclub. There's a development, and it's pretty big what came out. So we'll tell you all about it on Woods on Sports. Coming up. Love that. We got an update.
On the SDSU basketball team story, allegedly beating a guy up outside of Stingery Nightclub here in San Diego. There's a development. Woodsy will tell you about it on Woods on Sports. Don't forget, I'm going to be doing the Incorporator today. We know. 7.30, about an hour from now. Oil. Call some place out in the middle of nowhere. It's called Boot Festival. It's called Boot Barn. You know that. I don't even know because I don't shop there. You're a valued member. How would I know if all I shop for is surfer gear? Well, you haven't lived here your whole life. See, and I would tell you where you can get some SPF 35 for your nose. Where? Where can I get some? You can get that over there at South Coast Surf Shop. Bird's Place. Bird's Place, man. That's where I hang out. I just hang out there. I'll buy my lunch, and I'll just go in there and hang out just so I can be close to all them t-shirts. Just talk shop with the guys? Yeah, I just want to talk about the tide. Isn't that loitering? It's not when you're a regular. The tide. I just want to talk about how big the ankle slappers are going to be. How's the surf supposed to look today? You know, today, Woods, it's going to be...
We're still seeing that South Swell coming in, and I'll tell you what, man. If you can get it right at the break over there at Swami's, you're in shape, bro. Wow. Not bad. Not bad. You think about that, Juggs? That ain't bad, is it? Juggs! Don't call me Juggs. It's weird coming from you. Word of the day, by the way, is ninja. So when you hear me say the word ninja... Caller number nine will win a four-pack of tickets to Snow Jam and Snowboard Expo, and that'll also give you lift tickets, plus five boot camp classes or yoga classes you get to pick from Fact Performance Center on Carmel Mountain. Badass place. The thing is, it's a deal where you get to go in there, and it's like they call it boot camp because they work you, man. They work you out. They get you in shape. I'm imagining obstacle courses. Oh, yeah. Maybe I'll go. I'll report back. Tell you what it's like. Yeah, it's going to be good. I will not go. Of all of the people, it's like L.O.B. is the one that's like, oh, yeah, I'm going to get in there. Trying to get in shape. I'll maybe do the yoga. You're in shape. No, I'm not. Let's see. Oh, so earlier, right before we went to break, I told you Biz Marquis is going to be on.
Later, because he's on the TV show Yo Gabba Gabba, it's a kid's show. And he does a thing called Biz's Beats of the Day. And he does this... Beatbox? Yeah. Nice. And my son Jake is four and very excited about Biz coming on. Told Jake about it last night and he started doing the beatbox thing. Nice. And so I taped him. Yes. Good. My heart just melted. Thank you. I love him. Gosh, he's the best. Jake doing beatbox. I loved it. That is so cute. So if you are, maybe you didn't get a chance to hear her last week. I think we announced it twice that Lauren is officially back together with her BFMC. Hold on. Her boyfriend, Matt Commerce. Unofficially official. It's official. It's unofficially official. Who picked you up from the airport?
BFMC. BFMC. Boyfriend Matt Commerce. And you want to know what Lauren told me this morning? That she's in love with Matt. She told me something extremely cute that I was like, what? He parked the car at the airport. Big deal to park the car and then go in. And not only was he standing there, he had flowers. Oh, wow. He had flowers. And he had a new shirt on. Wow. He got a shirt. He got a thermal shirt on because I said on the air that I liked thermal shirts. Look at you, Maddie. I know. That is a good move. Listen. You got to come strong. If you park at the airport, it shows your loved one that you're not a pull up on the curb deal. Isn't that amazing? Tiana and I were like, she was like, he parked? I'm like, that's exactly what I said. It's a big deal. It's a huge deal. I called him. I'm like, yeah, I'm coming down. He's like, I know. I see you. I was like, where are you? He's like, I'm downstairs. I'm like, you parked? It's such a big deal. Why is parking such a big deal? Because it's a beating. It's a huge, huge beating.
Yeah, Rebecca is very used to, okay, hon, I'll meet you out on the thing. Yeah, and so am I. Can I just say one more thing that was a really big deal? The Steelers were on last night, and he's a Steeler fan, and he picked her up during the game. Yes, well, he ushered me out. I was like, oh, babe, you look so cute. I miss you. He's like, come on, come on, come on, come on. And we get into the car, and the Steelers game was on in the car, and then we went right out to go watch the rest of the game. I would be taking a cab if that were the case. My husband would be like, yeah, you can buy a drone ride. What about the thing that happened later? Are we going to talk about that? If you're cool with it, I'm cool with it. She's taking her jacket off. They went back to her boyfriend Matt Commerce's house. Her phone has gotten messed up, and it won't lock. Mikey, I watched her fiddling with this thing last week, and she took it apart. She got done putting it back together. There were six extra pieces sitting on her thing. She's like, huh, I wonder where these go. I was like, L-O-B? You can't have extras. So she took her phone apart last week. It's kind of broken. The trackball fell out because I have a BlackBerry and I have a little trackball, and I drop it.
three times a day. And I dropped it and this time the trackball was like, I'm out. So she can't lock her phone. And because she can't lock her phone, apparently it can dial out. And it was in her purse last night when she was over at her boyfriend Matt Commerce's house. Ask yourself if you've ever done this. And her boyfriend Matt Commerce was trying to get frisky. He was frisky. He was frisky. He hadn't seen her in a few days. He hadn't seen her in a few days. Just got back together. A renewed love affair, you know? Oh, yeah. It's exciting. So, Matt. And we're, like, constantly joking with each other. Constantly. Yeah. So, it was, like, funny things that were being said. Yeah. Well, Lauren went and took a shower. Alone. Alone. And, by the way, when he was making his advances, she was saying, No. She was tired. I'm tired. I've been on a plane all day. I have to get up early. Come on. Well, when she got out of the shower, she went to check her phone and apparently for seven minutes, ironically enough, her uncle Matt. He lives on the East Coast, so it was midnight over there when my phone called. He had been listening.
For seven minutes. Your booty call. Yeah. I don't know if he picked up and was like, is everything okay? And I was like, hey, stop it. Or if he's going to get a voicemail and listen to the whole thing. Well, it went for seven minutes, right? Yeah. So either he was on the other end just laughing and trying to get my attention. If he was on the other end and he didn't hang up. I'm kind of creeped out. Not me. I'm creeped out. I'm creeped out. What's he doing listening? That's his niece. Yeah. No. Well, that's the thing. Oh, man. Great point. We're trying to. We're trying to. pinpoint when the call actually happened because when we first got into his house, it's like he had gotten me the flowers and I was like, oh, do you have a vase or something? So we're like, when did we start getting weird? Did he have a vase? No. I was going to say. By the way, when did we start getting weird? Yeah. Do you want to get crazy? Take your clothes off. You know, you say stuff and then he was like, well, it could have been worse. We could have actually...
And I'm like, yeah, that would have been really great and appropriate considering I called my uncle Matt. Matt. Matt. And that's your boyfriend's name. Yeah. That's weird because it brings up that topic of yesterday. Yes. Saying the name. Which I missed. Weird. Which I do, but which I missed. Weird. Oh my gosh. Nobody calls their significant other by their name normally. You know how I like it, Matt. Matt. Not like that. Hard to. It's more like that. When we have a lovemaking session. A session? Wait, what? A session. We keep our clothes on and just kind of like shake hands and stuff. So it's like, I'm like, oh, Matt, your hands are sweaty. Great. You make love like the Amish. Yeah, exactly. Oh, my gosh. All right, fine. If we're going to get romantic, we might as well have the romantic. Yes, that's right. We're going to be romantic. Let's do it right. Oh, yeah. Everybody put the lights on. How'd you guys get audio of Matt's house?
I will hunt you down. All night long, all I could think in my head was I will hunt you down. Touch my body. Touch my body. Throw me in the bay. Make you feel like you never did. These guys didn't know that it was actually a Mariah Carey song. Really? At the end of the show, Mike's been playing it all day, and he's like, oh, wait, this is a Mariah Carey song. It's creepy enough that Mariah Carey even has that song. I know. Mariah's song might be a little creepier than that one. Yeah. I like it better. So, I don't know. Have you guys ever done that? What? The call? No. Not like that. No. Not when I was about to make love. You did, Sienna? Not when we were about, like Todd and I joke around all the time and we say really inappropriate things. Mainly he does. And one time we were during one of these, you know, uncomfortable conversations. Well, uncomfortable, you don't want anyone to hear. And I heard, Sienna! Sienna! Sienna! And I'm like, what? And I freeze and I immediately know.
Oh, my God, it's my phone. And I looked down, and my phone had called my mom, and she was yelling to me, Sienna, I can hear you. Hang up, Mom, hang up. I know. No, I don't think she heard anything, even if she did, whatever. But, you know, I mean, it was embarrassing. I looked at Todd, and I was like, no, no. My dad, if I ever called my dad a mistake, he'd call me back and go, Mike, you and Rebecca were talking about the new house majority leader for seven minutes. Switch topics. Would your dad have stayed on the line for seven minutes? No. There wouldn't be anything interesting. What if your dad pocket dialed you and they were doing it? No! Oh, man! I would officially die. That would be the worst! I'd die. You're a monster, Cena. I know, I'm so sorry. A monster for suggesting such a horrifically gross thing. I would rather it have been my mom than my Uncle Matt. Really? Yes! Yeah, because then your mom would say something. I'd rather it be my Uncle Matt than my dad. By the way, you're going to hear a voicemail from Other Mother. Oh, yeah. Which is... Yeah, who's Other Mother again? Lauren's Other Mother. My mom's alter ego. She leaves voicemails for Lauren and has since Lauren was much younger. Other Mother has a special voice. Yeah.
Yeah, she does. It sounds like this. Hello, Laura. First, she said she was going to stop it when I turned 30, which is in less than a month. Yeah. And now, yesterday, she's like, you know what? I think I'll just stop when you're married. Which is not in the foreseeable future, so she gets some more time. Isn't it? 5701949 is our number. All right. I've had enough. I want to hear sports. Shove it. Where is it? You just passed it. I did? Yep. In blue. We're not used to this yet. You got this, Mike. Still trying to get used to this new pretty coding. There's a lot of buttons on there to push. Watch! Watch, watch, watch! Watch, watch, watch! Woods on Sports is brought to you by our friends at Clearview Eye and Laser Medical Center. Well, it's official. Wade Phillips is out as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. He's 83-65 overall as the head coach. That's not too bad. He won two NFC East titles, but one playoff victory since 1996. And after just getting mopped by the Packers 45-7, that was enough for Jerry Jones. Cut one.
A decision has been made to move forward with a new person in the head coaching position with the Dallas Cowboys. Jason Garrett has been named interim head coach, and he will replace Wade Phillips effective immediately. Think that guy's ever ripped off a fresh F word? Absolutely. Actually, there's audio of him doing that all over the internet. Gosh, he must have flipped out with that loss. I know. I know. Last night's Monday Night Football game was pretty interesting. It was kind of a laugher up until the fourth quarter, which I was in bed by. But it was like 27-7. And the Steelers were running away with it. But the Bengals made a comeback. And, you know, it was a hard, hard-hitting battle. It was 27-21, the Steelers. Coach Mike Tomlin, cut three. If you knew this was going to be a 60-minute game. Love him. It was an awesome atmosphere. The crowd support was spectacular. They're a good football team. So, you know, it wasn't going to be easy by any stretch. You know, in T.O. last night, I was watching that guy. Guy looked like he was 19 again. Running all over the field. Two touchdowns, 140 yards. Oh, wow. On the other side, though, Chad Ochocinco. Not so much. Cut to, real quick, before we play this. Yeah. Listen to this clip.
And I want to talk about it after because he sounds kind of like a little baby. Cut to. It's been like that all year. You know, teams are taking me away. I mean, it's very frustrating. Very. You know, they're taking me away, not allowing me to be available to help us out. You know, you get frustrated. We can hide. You know, it's part of the game. You know, I'm emotional. But in no way did it affect anything we had going on. You know, Chad, I grew up watching Jerry Rice. I grew up watching Michael Irvin. Chris Carter. Yeah. Those guys never cried about getting taken out of the game. Absolutely. Never. Never. Did you ever hear Jerry Rice go, couldn't get open? Yeah. They double teamed me. Like, I'm upset because I got double teamed. Yeah. Jerry Rice was triple teamed. Michael Irvin, double, triple. Those guys made plays. Right. They didn't cry and they didn't run their mouth. And they got open. If they did run their mouth, it's because they won and caught 10 balls for 200 yards. And, by the way, they didn't have.
Terrell Owens on the other side. Exactly. Taking away attention. Exactly. I mean, if you can't get open when T.O.'s catching, you know, 10 balls for 140 yards, what's the problem? Yeah. It was, you know, it's kind of typical of Ocho Cinco. Guys on my nerves. Yeah, I agree. Well, the 25th ranked San Diego State Aztecs had a little bit of, they had some troubles. Apparently some of these guys were out at Stingery and they ran into this guy, Jeffrey Lano. And allegedly, they jumped this guy. And he said, you know what? I'm pressing charges. And now he has come out and said, I'm not pressing charges. So unless he changes his mind within a year, they're off the hook, which is a good thing. But, you know, he's... Why do you think he changed his mind? I don't know. I really have no idea. Do you think an attorney said you don't have a case? You may not have a case. Maybe he got threats. That or... I don't necessarily think threats, but I think... It was one of those situations in a bar that gets blown out of proportion, and I think he probably had a lot to do with the incident and probably realized, hey, I could get in some trouble too. So he is not pressing charges. And then there was an incident this weekend in the NFL with Baltimore Ravens fullback Leron McClain and the linebacker of the Dolphins, Channing Crowder. And allegedly, Leron McClain spit in the face of Channing Crowder.
It's disgusting. It's disgusting. But linebacker, this was wild. I read this this morning. Linebacker Carlos Dansby, who plays for the Dolphins with Crowder, said, quote, where I'm from, that'll get you killed. Straight up. That's around the world. Period. It's one of those things that's unspoken. You just don't do that. You don't do. You don't do that. You don't spit in another man's face. No. It's disgusting. You kind of deserve what you get. You can jaw. You can do whatever you're going to do, but you don't spit in a dude's face. No, you don't. And Leron McClain has said, hey, that's just me talking. You can't really see spit coming out of my mouth. But allegedly the head coach of the Dolphins, Tony Sperano, said, yeah, I've got video and you can see the spit coming out of his mouth. So the NFL is going to investigate. Oh, boy. And that is what's on sports. So Mr. Peanut is what? Planners? Yep. He has been around for almost 100 years. He came around in 1916, and now he is having a little bit of a makeover, Mr. Peanut. You know the guy, the cane, the top hat. He's a peanut. The monocle. Yeah. Why is it time? It's time. What's wrong with Mr. Peanut's look? He looks good. Put him in his baggy pants, gold chain. Peanuts don't wear pants. A grill. Nice meat suit. Yeah, meat suit. Well, Mr. Peanut now is getting a voice, and that person is...
Robert Downey Jr. is now going to be the voice of Mr. Peanut. All the way in. He's getting a new look. Robert Downey Jr.? He did. Iron Man? Iron Man. Holy cow. Peanut Man. Okay. Over or under. $10 million to be the voice of Mr. Peanut. Over or under? Over. Over. Over. Over. Really? Because you're a huge star. It depends on if he's now the new going forward or if it was just for this campaign. No, he's got to be the new voice. No, yeah, he's getting like a full makeover, Mr. Peanut. That's going to be over 10. Oh, my gosh. He's the biggest star in the world. One of the biggest stars in the world. You're like, yeah, I'll be a peanut.
100%. I think he's probably honored to be Mr. Peanut. Really? He's an institution in this country. Everyone knows Mr. Peanut. He's a peanut. He's got a cane and a top hat. I wonder, didn't he have a British accent before? No, he's never had a voice. That was just in your head. Yeah. So not only is he now having a voice, Mr. Peanut, but he has a new look, a new gray flannel suit he's going to be wearing. However, he's going to keep his trademark top hat and cane, and he also has a sidekick, and the sidekick's name is Benson. Today. What? Sounds like a pimp. Yeah. Today is Mr. Peanut's debut on Facebook.
Wow. All the way in. You've got to check it out. I wonder if a sidekick is like a cashew or something. Like, what is a sidekick? Sidekick should be a raisin because there's nothing better than peanuts and raisins together. How perfect is the sidekick's name? Benson. I love that. Does Benson talk or is it like Penn and Teller and he's quiet? I don't hear anything about Benson having a voice. Second fiddle. Today is the kickoff to a holiday-themed advertising campaign. Wow. That's why the Facebook page is launching. Smart. Mr. Peanut in a gray flannel suit. Love it. Sharp. I don't like this suit. Robert Downey Jr. is the voice all the way in. I want to go to Facebook and see this. So do I. I'm in on everything except the gray flannel suit. What if it looks sharp? He needs to stay naked. He's not naked, though. He's got a top hat and a monocle and a cane. Oh, really? He doesn't wear clothes? His clothes is a peanut shell? Yeah. He can't get out of his shell. Oh, yeah. Weird. So President Bush, he's doing that interview with Matt Lauer. Dude, I'm looking at the audio and it's pretty sensational stuff, man. Matt was asking him some stuff. Not holding back. No. Some of the stuff that he was asking him about was what the seven minute wait was when the 9-11 attacks were happening, what that was all about.
Also asked them about what it was like the moment that Dick Cheney told him that Cheney's daughter was a lesbian. They discussed that. Wow. They discuss a lot of pretty crazy stuff. And Kanye West, they talk about all of it. You'll hear it next. What are the days, Ninja? When you hear it, Caller 9. It happened between now and 10. So when you hear it, Caller 9 gets four-pack of tickets to Snow Jam, Ski and Snowboard Expo with lift tickets, the whole deal. Woodsy was just saying he wants to do that. And also, five boot camper yoga classes at Fact Performance Center in Carmel Mountain. High value. Work you out, get you in shape in a really, really big way. Dina Lowen checking in about her daughter.
at the Betty Ford Center, same place I went. She is reunited with her dad, and there's a reason for that. I'll tell you about that. I can tell you from my personal experience of being there. So, former President Bush, right? He did that thing with Matt Lauer where it's called Decision Points, a conversation with George W. And they talked about... Everything, including the 9-11 stuff. It was a scheduled appearance to promote education reform. He already knew one plane had hit the World Trade Center. He was talking to little kids, if you remember. Yeah. When the plane said he was sitting there reading stories to little kids in a little kids class. But thought it was an accident. Then his chief of staff whispered in his ear. And Andy says a second plane has hit the World Trade Center. America's under attack.
That videotape of you sitting there and now that we know in hindsight you had just been given that news and you sat there and it was seven minutes. Yeah, that's right. I made the decision not to jump up and kind of create a chaotic scene because people are going to be watching my reaction. Yeah, and it's also in the eye of the beholder because the supporters of George Bush look at those seven minutes on tape and say he was trying to show an air of calm. The critics of George Bush say he was in shock. Yeah, well, I'm not going to debate the critics as to whether or not I was in shock or not. I wasn't. And they can read the book and they can draw their own conclusion. What do you guys think? What do you guys think? I think him jumping up wouldn't have changed anything. No, but couldn't he have finished his thought and said, okay, boys and girls, Mr. President has got to attend to some matters in the White House. I'm very sorry. Absolutely. Yeah. I was a big, what's the opposite, a proponent of George Bush. A critic? Yeah, I was a critic. I was not a fan. But in that case, it's never happened. I give the guy a little slack. And in hindsight, I look back and I'm like, yeah, I think seven minutes to gather yourself and create the air of calm is what could he have done? I was in bed when it happened. And I'm not the president.
And someone, my roommate came into my room and said almost those same words were under attack. And I jumped out of bed. I looked at the window. I expected, like, bombs to be going off. Like, if I heard the words, America is under attack, I'd lose my test. You move into action immediately, especially as a president. You have obligations and people that are depending on you. You've got to get up and get moving. Here is Bush talking about when Cheney told him that Cheney's daughter is a lesbian. When you decided to run for... president, one of the first major decisions you had to make is choosing a running mate. Right. And you write in the book a story that when you went to Dick Cheney and said, Dick, I want you to be my running mate. He said, well, I've got to talk to my wife about it. And then he reminded you of something. He said, first of all, I want you to remember I have some health issues. Right. And then he looked at you and he said something else. He said, Mary is gay. Yeah. Mary's his daughter. That's right. Yeah. What was your reaction when he said that? I just started laughing. He said it. I laughed. What do you want me to do? I giggled. I giggled. Listen, it ain't right. I did it. My reaction was twofold. One, there's a guy who loves his... I said, what is that gay? Like she's happy? I said I'm happy, too. I'm happy. Do you have any pictures? Creep. Creep. His daughter. And secondly, he's testing whether or not I...
Some kind of gay basher. He wanted to see a person. I said, if you're trying to get me to make homosexual jokes, I ain't going to do it. He was gauging your tolerance. I think so, yeah. There's nothing in your background that would have led him to believe you wouldn't be tolerant. Correct. Wasn't he gauging the tolerance of the base of the Republican Party? Wasn't he saying, will this be an issue? No, he's gauging my tolerance. And when he said it, I said, well, that's a rather queer thing to say. So if you had to rate that decision, choosing Dick Cheney as your running mate, how would you rate that decision? I'd rate it a very good one. That's just funny. Yeah, it is. That's just funny. What are you going to say? What is he going to say, Matt? Well, in hindsight, should have gone with Sarah Palin. I give myself a C+. C plus to C. Yep. That's fantastic. How about the Kanye West stuff? What do you think about Kanye? Saying that you don't care about black people. About a week after the storm hit. Katrina. Asking for help for the victims of Katrina. We had celebrities coming in to ask for money. And I remember it vividly because I hosted it. And at one part of the evening. I introduced Kanye West. Were you watching? No. Well. And it was unusual because I usually love to watch.
anything kanye's doing i was golfing why would i be laughing that what he said yes i do george bush doesn't care about black people call me a racist well what he said was george bush doesn't care about black people that's because he's a racist i didn't appreciate it then i don't i don't appreciate it now it's one thing to say you know i don't appreciate the way he's handled his business it's another thing to say this man's a racist i resent it it's not true And it was one of the most disgusting moments of my presidency. This is from the book. I faced a lot of criticism as president. I didn't like hearing people claim that I lied about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction or cut taxes to benefit the rich. But the suggestion that I was racist because of the response to Katrina represented an all-time low. Yeah, I still feel that way as you read those words. Felt them when I heard them, felt them when I wrote them, and I felt them when I'm listening to them. You say you told Laura at the time it was the worst moment of your presence. Yeah. I wonder if some people are going to read that, and they might give you some heat for that. The reason is this. You don't care. Well, here's the reason. You're not saying that the worst moment in your presidency was watching the misery in Louisiana. You're saying it was when someone insulted you because of it. I also make it clear that the misery in Louisiana affected me deeply as well. There's a lot of tough moments in the book, and it's a disgusting moment, pure and simple. Hey, and you know what? Here's the bottom line.
That Matt Lauer is able to and I listen, this is a bipartisan. I don't care that he's Republican. If he was Democrat, I'd be saying the same thing right now. The fact that somebody is saying in hindsight, well, shouldn't you have felt this? Right. I mean, the way you feel is the way you feel. You know, we process stuff different, man. Everybody processes things different. And it's really easy for us to say, you know, you should have felt this way. Right. I watched that special. Jamie and I watched it live, and I remember when Kanye said that. I was not a Bush fan at all. It was like a gun went off in our house. I looked at her, and she looked at me, and I go, oh, boy, he did not just do that. Did you feel worse when you heard that or when you saw people jumping out of the Twin Towers? I was so upset with Katrina, and I was so upset with 9-11 against George Bush. I don't know, man. I guess I've softened on the guy, because one thing I always used to say to Jamie, and we'd talk politics, I'd go, name a president that's had all this crap he's had to go through. I mean, you'd never know until you walk a mile in somebody's shoes. I'm kind of in on the guy now. He's just weird. Maybe I'm turning, I'm getting older, I'm turning conservative. It seems like a very honest thing that he wrote in the book. Very honest. And he could have been politically correct, and he could have gone, you know, seeing those people jumping out and...
you know, losing their lives in the tower, which, by the way, affected him. It affected every human being. But I think that his, you know, I think that his honesty was when I got called a racist on national television, it really hurt. It was the worst moment. From who, though? It hurt him. But I'm saying it came from Kanye. It doesn't matter. Everyone heard it. Everyone knew about it. And he, I have to agree. I mean, he's being honest. He knows that people are going to be like, really? That's what hurt you the most? And he's like, yeah, that is what hurt me the most. Take what you think. This is true. I mean, and that was a personal attack. Yeah, but from Kanye. He's notorious for being an idiot. I get personally attacked by Jim Smith. fan of some other radio show and it bothers me. And they don't do it on national TV. And here's the thing. You know, Kanye West was not thought of as a moron. You know? Right. I mean, he was thought well enough of that they had him on the special to begin with, standing next to Mike Myers. Mike Myers. Yeah. You know, Mike Myers was, you know, Austin Powers. So do we say...
If Mike Myers had said the same thing, would we be sitting here going, well, you know, Austin Powers said it. Sean Penn, I mean, it doesn't matter. All he had to do was log on to YouTube or any other website, and he'd get called a lot worse things than what Kanye said. He could. I guess my point is that hurt hurts. No matter who it is and what it is, it hurts. Really? Poor baby as well as people down there having... You know, his slow reaction time in Louisiana cost a lot of people their lives. Well, it wasn't just him, man. Well, I know. It wasn't just him. I was leading the charge on that bit when it happened. But he was the one in charge. He was the one overall in charge, so I blame him. Yeah. I don't think he's a racist. I think it's just his reaction time. Yeah, I agree with that. He's a little slow. Yeah, and plus he does come from Texas, so. It's kind of a racist thing to say. So Jays are racist? So I guess you're racist. I was brought up by racist. You're a Texas meme. You're a freaking Texas. Texas. Unbelievable. 570-1949 is the number. If you want to give us a call, you can also text us, 949mikey, at gmail.com. Bush has been pretty open about the fact that he had drinking issues and that, you know, to the point where he had to go to, like, AA meetings and stuff like that.
But he also talked about when he was president, it was not something that he went back to. Now, whether or not it's true or whether you believe it or whatever. That would have been the time. That would have been the time, right? That would have been the time to pour a little scotch on the rocks. Yeah. But he talked about that. There's so much of this audio. I just don't know what, you know. is the most interesting stuff. I'll give you what I think is. You called a West Texas expression about guys who drink, and you said last night he thought he was a 10. In fact, he was an ass. That's right. Does that describe how you get on occasion? I love that Texas laugh. I did, sometimes, absolutely. You know, I said some stupid things. Tell me the story about the... Matt.
Let's just go, let's go shoot some squirrels. This, I mean, and if we don't, if you want to keep doing the interview, we can't, but let's go shoot squirrels. Dinner party. Okay, so here's one of the worst. That's what we want. We want the worst. Well, you found it. Yeah. So I'm drunk at the dinner table at a mother and dad's house in Maine. And my brothers and sister are there. I got a good one for you. And I'm sitting next to a beautiful woman, friend of mother and dad's. And I said to her out loud, what is sex like after 50? Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. What's wrong with that? He's sitting at the dinner table with his mom and dad. With President Bush. President Bush. And Barbara Bush. She's sitting there looking like George Washington. And he says to their friend. Oh, my goodness. LLB, you still like to slay? Can you imagine him saying to the family friend?
What's sex life after 50? What does she say? She was probably like, you want to go find out? I made total silence. And not only silence, but like serious daggers. From your mom. Yeah. And my wife. The point. And my wife. I called it shock and awe. Yeah, shock and awe. Alcohol had a control over you and you didn't have control over alcohol. That's right. Right. That was the first WMD ever go off. My mouth. My mouth. Wow. I'm sorry, but I love that he can laugh about that. Dude, I don't know what's the matter with me. I hated the guy. I'm kind of in on him now. It's because he's out. Because he made mistakes and he can laugh about it? Because he made mistakes and nobody's perfect. No one is perfect. He's not even close. I wonder if we will be able to do the same thing with Obama. I don't know. I mean, I voted for Obama, and the guy's terrible. He's terrible. Mr. Politically Correct. Right. He doesn't do anything wrong. Right, and I'm sitting here going, maybe GW comes back. Hey, I think if Obama were in office when Katrina happened, it would be handled pretty differently. You mean like the oil spill? Yeah. Yeah, like the oil spill. Well, there were lives imminently.
being lost. So there were two. Well, the oil spill when the explosion happened, yes, but it was a much more of a trickle effect with the oil spill. People were, you had Harry Connick Jr. getting in his SUV and driving down to New Orleans, but we couldn't get FEMA over there. Yeah. You're right. But, I mean, listen, when the oil spill happened, there's a lot of lives that were affected and still affected. Affected, absolutely. But this was, like, imminent. There are people on the roofs dying. There are people in the attic. I was furious. I was furious. But, you know, once again, I'm kind of in this way right now where I'm like, well, I guess I'll never know. God knows I'll never have that responsibility. And no matter what the president does, whoever it is, people are always going to criticize the way they handled it. I think the drilling, too, wouldn't have been happening if Bush hadn't let him drill in deep oil. Okay, now check this out. Now, Obama said the same thing. Obama said, we need to stop this offshore drilling. And then he got into office.
And realized that that was just something that sounded great. To get elected. To get elected. And then he said, we're going to offshore drill. And in fact, he made that compromise about two weeks. Exactly, yeah, two weeks. About two weeks right before the explosion. Probably went, uh-oh, that was probably bad timing. I think Obama's problem is he doesn't have strong enough. confidence in himself to stick with decisions and do things. I think he gets pulled in too many directions and kind of gets lost. I think I'm Republican now. M1 Cave Dweller from Wisconsin. Are you there? Yes, I am, Mikey. How are you doing? Good. Love you guys. Listen, I got to set the record straight on a couple of things. I used to be a Republican, now I'm a Democrat. George Bush is one of the big reasons, but listen, Hurricane Katrina, you cannot lay any of that. You can't lay about 90% of that at his feet. The rule is a disaster always moves faster than the response. And there were problems with the levees there that had been there for years. FEMA was a bureaucratic mess long before Bush ever got in office. And the mayor of New Orleans sent people to shelters of last resort without food, water, security, or sanitary. Yeah, Ray Nagin.
was just as responsible. The Democratic mayor of New Orleans was just as responsible. He came out to be a hero, though. You know what I mean? At the end of it? Well, where was the National Guard during all of that? He got re-elected. Yeah. Well, and the thing is, that's the governor's job, not the president's job. Yeah, that levy stuff, man. The National Guard is under the auspices of the governor. Bro, they had been telling those guys about those levies in New Orleans for... No, and you can't blame the disaster on him. It's the response effort. And the president has the say. I don't care if it comes directly from the state with things with the National Guard or whatever. The president has the power to say, hey, come in and do this no matter what. You're the president. The president has that ability to a certain extent, but a lot of states, they don't want the feds getting in their business. And the president could say stuff, but the governor is the governor of that state. You're supposed to leave that state, so you can't just say, you know, you can't override all of that. Oh, no. If it got bad enough, you could. But, I mean, that's one of the big things about the separation between federal and state government in this country. Yeah. All right. Hey, thank you for the call, man. I appreciate the call. That's M1 Cave Dweller. Smart guy. Well, and most of the problems, too, were with the way that it was just dealt on a very local level before it even happened. And no public transportation out of the city. Yeah. A lot of people were told to leave, and they didn't leave.
Well, they didn't have public transportation. They didn't have the means to get out. That was literally, you know, bad pun, but it was the perfect storm. Yeah, it was. It was. Okay, so Hoyle is doing the Incorporator today. And so we need people to call and give us words for the Incorporator. Here's the way that the Incorporator works. You call us, you give us random words, and then Hoyle today. We'll have to try to incorporate those words into a conversation. We'll incorporate those words. We'll try. He's stealing Woods' bit. Yeah, he's stealing bits. We're calling boot camp. No. Boot barn. Boot barn. So Woods is going to have to go into the phone screen room and get the words. Yeah, I'll do it. And we need to turn off your phone screening technology in there so that you can't cheat. And you need to switch that. Oh, you don't even need to use the phone screen. You don't even need to put it there because I'm going to stay here to do the incorporator. And make sure you switch the mic to my mic where I can give you the words and switch yours to the one that they can hear. So they will only be able to hear Woodsy as he feeds me the words. Yes. No, other way around. They'll only be able to hear me talking to the person. They won't be able to hear Woods. We need to test that during the break. We got some tech and...
technical stuff we got to get to. It's easy. It's easy. It's easy. All right. I'll get the words. You guys call in. 570-194-9. Give us words for the Incorporator. Woodsy is going into the phone screening room to get them so that Hoyle will not know what they are. And when we come back, Hoyle will do his first ever Incorporator. Reminds me of old San Diego radio back in the day. Mighty 690. Yogos. Our lips are sealed. On the cue. Wow. Oh, isn't that good? Biggest crush on her when I was a little kid. Who didn't? Oh, Mama Sita. Sienna, what's going on in news? Well, an Italian mafia boss was just busted. His name is Geraldino Messina, and he was playing.
The Godfather video game at the time of his arrest. Are you kidding? No joke. Yes, he was actually playing it on Xbox when the police barged in. He's been on the run from the cops since 1999 for Mafia Type Association and several murders. So he's been busted. I love the Mafia. Speaking of getting busted, there was a federal crackdown on child prostitution. It was a three-day federal crackdown along child prostitution rings across the whole country. It resulted in the recovery of 69 kids and the arrest of 884 people. including 99 pimps. Would you like to know the city with the largest number of pimps? Where? Detroit. Detroit. They arrested 10 there. I'm a pimp. I used to be a pimp. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? Well, Tom Brady is taking his hair and his dimpled little chin from Nike to Under Armour. He is by far the biggest person they've got over there now. He's joining Ray Lewis, Michael Phelps, and Lindsey Vonn. Under Armour Stable. So that's going to be his new sponsor. And he is also getting a piece of the company, which is pretty rad for him. They have beautiful hair. Like he needed more great things to happen to him. He's the most charmed person ever. Wow. And then just some quick news around the NFL. The Packers have released injured quarterback Al Harris. Panthers quarterback Matt Moore is going to miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. And Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford will not need surgery.
After hurting his throwing shoulder on Sunday. Again, by the way. Same shoulder. I happened to be watching that game when it happened, and he hit the turf right on that shoulder that he had just jacked up. Yeah, I like that kid. And he slams into the turf, rolls over on his back, and instantly grabs it. And you're like, oh, man. It's the worst. Oh, yeah. So word of the day, by the way, is ninja. And when you hear us use the word ninja between now and 10, you need to be caller nine and you'll get the five boot camper yoga classes at Fact Performance Center in Carmel Mountain and a four-pack of tickets to Snow, Jam, Ski, and Snowboard Expo. Sweet. Yeah. So be listening for that word. Oh, also, you will be hearing Other Mother. Yes, the debut. Lauren's mom. Hello. I can't wait. Lauren's mom has been doing this alter ego other mother for years and calls and she'll leave you messages and sometimes when you call home and she knows it's you, she'll speak to you in other mother voice. She pulled a good one when I called to let her know that I had landed in New Jersey because I stayed at my brother's house for the night. Called to tell her that I was in and she answered as other mother because she has caller ID. Of course she did. She went through the whole bit of going to get my real mom.
And then they fought, and then she got on the phone. They fought. They fought. Give me the phone. No, you give me the phone. Give me the phone. I wonder where Lauren learned to do voiceovers. That's pretty much the only one she's got in her arsenal. Well, Lauren is very patient, because Lauren's a 29-year-old woman. And she's very patient with her, and she'll be like, oh, that's great, other mother. I've got to say. Hi, can I talk to my mom? I've got to say, I'm a little jealous. I wish my dad would do other dad. That's hilarious. That's hysterical. All right. Well, Hoyle needs to hit the road. Yeah. Yeah. Hoyle needs to hit the road. And so does Mikey. So me and Hoyle are going to leave the room. You need to go potty? And Woods is going to tell you the words that were called in by M1s. And Hoyle will have to incorporate those words into a conversation with Boot Barn. I cannot remember it. Boot Barn. Boot Barn. All right. I'll be back. I'll be back, too. Both of y'all leave. Both of you get out of here. Hold on. Let's get separated. He's walking out the door. I'm going to wait for it to close. I'm going to wait for it to close. Go to the bathroom. Oil. These were hand-selected by me. By the Incorporator. By the Incorporator. You guys ready? Yeah. M1 Denise gave us Baby Wipe. Okay. M1 JP gave us Popsicle. Okay. M1 Y-Glide gave us Bong.
Oh, no. M1 John gave us boot camp. Nice. M1 Get Sticker Maker gave us asinine. M1 Jamie gave us circumference. Nice. M1 Jay Hammy gave us gynecology. Nice. And M1 Devin gave us Chianti. Oh, my gosh. These are. Super hard. Oh, my God. So Hoyle has to work these in? Hoyle has to do them. He's not here. Hoyle's gone to the bathroom. Oh. Really? Are you serious? Yeah, he really did. I wonder if Hoyle knows what a bong is. I wonder how long he thought that that would take. I don't know. He's just gone. Maybe the rest of our show just leaves. Woods, go sit in the captain's seat. Here he comes. Here he comes. He's ready for you. Where you been, Hoyle? I was a little longer than we needed. I actually did go to the bathroom. Okay. Okay, so I got the number. Now we switch the mics. So they're going to be able to hear my microphone. They will not hear Woodsy's microphone. And you, Woodsy, will feed Hoyle the words. Yes, and I'm going to give Hoyle the first word because that's how we do things. What is it? That's so exciting. Baby wipe. Baby wipe. Baby wipe. I love it already. I'm turning my mic off.
Y'all be quiet. Baby white? Baby white. Boot barn, this is Tom. Hello there. Hey, Tom. This is Hoyle Hanready calling in. And I'm calling because I need to pick up a pair of boots later today, if that's all right. We have a lot of boots. In fact, we're home of the largest selection of boots. All right. Well, let me ask you a couple of questions about them because I need to know some things before we get started, all right? All right. Now, I'm the type that likes to take real good care of my boots. In fact, I use baby wipes on most of my boots. I've done that since I was a child. I use the baby wipes on them just to keep them soft and pliable. Popsicle. Probably a good idea to keep them clean. Yeah. Now, what's the best brand of boots you carry? Well, we have a top-of-the-line Stetson boot that just came out. There's also a...
the same folks that make the hat, and a Justin boot. I give you a box of popsicles, you give me 20% off on that sucker, and I ain't kidding. My mommy works for a popsicle company. They're actually having a sale. Funny you bring that up. If you want to come in this week, we can have you fitted, and if we don't have your size, you can always order whatever you need. Well, I'll tell you what, I wear kind of a strange size and boot. I wear a 14 long. No, it's not 14 long. It's a 14D. Man, it's like I've been smoking my bong this morning. I can't even figure out what I'm doing. But anyway, I have very large feet. I'm practically like Michael Irvin. Boot camp. So anyway. We may actually have that size in stock. Okay. check but if we don't you're gonna have to check yeah 14 is a big boot when i went to boot camp it took forever for them to get me fitted for them asinine it was asinine let me tell you something i i for a second i didn't think you were going to even be able to continue the conversation after i told you that i wear a 14 circumference well you know what uh we are the area's largest distributor of boots and like i said
We don't have it in stock. We can always order it for you. I have Frodo-sized feet. The circumference of my foot is like a hobbit. Gynecology. You know what I mean? Again, like, well, big feet, you know, people have different sized feet, and that's what we're all about. We try to please every customer, every size. All right. It doesn't matter. What about hats? You said you have the Stetson hats? That's correct. You do have the Stetson. Arcadia hat. What size are you looking for? Well, I'm not sure. I won't get fitted because I want to finally treat myself to a real nice hat, you know. Hats are like gynecology. You've got to get the right one or you're going to have a terrible day. I would imagine. Yeah, so I'm going to come down there and get fitted for it. What kind of jeans y'all carry? Everything from Lee to Wrangler to Levi's to our own brand. All right. Our own brand. Holy Toledo. I can eat those brands up like some fava beans and a nice Chianti. Those sound good. Those sound good. Well, listen, I appreciate you taking the time. Again, if you work on commission, I'll come in and ask for you. What's your name? My name is Tom. All right, Tom, I'm going to come in and ask for you. I'll be the real good-looking fella, Hoyle Hanready. All right? Thank you for... Do I need to ask for... What? My name's Hoyle Hanready. Okay. All right. Thank you for... Thank you.
Thank you. My pleasure. Thank you. Bye-bye. I look forward to meeting you. I look forward to meeting you. Wow, you did it. Guys, I have a confession to make. What? I just went pee-pee. Again? You were scared? Woods, how do you do that? How do you freaking do that? Oh, my gosh. Were you nervous? Oh, my gosh. Gynecology. I was like, there's no way. And bong. Bong. Gynecology and bong? Boy. Holy. Holy cow. Wow. That's the most nerve-wracking thing that Hoyle's ever done in his life. Holy cow. He sounded calm. Yeah, you did good. That's because I used to ride bulls. Professionally. And when you do that, you get nerves of steel. Once you have a 450-pounder between your legs. I know how that feels. You did awesome, Hoyle.
You are the filthiest, dirtiest bird. That little librarian over there. The glasses on. Oh, my gosh. All right. I've been on a mechanical bull. I guess it's not the same thing. You are a nutcase. Well done, sir. You ready for other mother? Yes. All right, let's do it. Brace yourselves. All right, so. Oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh. So, Lauren. Her mom does Other Mother. She's been doing it since how old were you when she started Other Mother? Oh, I think maybe like six. I think once I started to be like, you're not cool, Mom. She did something to try to reel me back in. At first I thought it was funny. Maybe like 15, 16. You probably thought it was funny once. Yeah. It's been going on for almost 15 years. Yeah. If not more. Somewhere in that ballpark.
And she doesn't do it with any of her other kids, only Lauren. No, just me. It's your special bit. Yeah, because all the other kids, even more so than me, will be like, you're so weird, because my mom's just kind of weird. Yeah. But she did it for me, and I was like... Now... Your mom has said that she might retire other mother. She did. First she said that she would retire other mother when I turned 30, which is December 2nd, so it's less than a month away. And I was like, and my dad was like, oh no. Yeah, wouldn't you kind of be, I mean, it's kind of endearing. I wouldn't miss her. You would, Lauren. You would miss her. I wouldn't. If she retires her, I'm quitting. She can't retire. Yeah, there's no way. She says when I get married. Let's listen to a recording from Lauren's cell phone of other mother leaving. And she'll do this, right? She'll just leave you messages. Oh, yeah. I've got them saved on my phone. A couple of them. Here we go. Hi, Lauren. This is me again. How are you?
That is... I need to take a deep breath. I know it. I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready. Well, you can't be ready for that. Can I just say that that's my other mother's tagline is... Hi, Lauren. It's me again. How are you? Every time? It comes in written form. I get cards from Mother Mother as well. Are you serious? Birthday cards? Yeah. Holy cow. I'll get two this year, I'm sure. Does she try to do different handwriting for Mother Mother? She'll wiggle it because my mom only writes in person. Yeah. So she'll start to wiggle the ends of it down so it looks like it's from Mother Mother. Oh, my God. I love your mom. It's a full-on bit. It's a full-on bit. Here we go. From the top. Hi, Lord. It's me again. How are you? I heard you were in New Jersey, and you didn't come and visit me. Don't you love me anymore? Look at Lord. Look at Lord. She's mortified. The vein is out on the forehead. The vein is out on the forehead. That's how you know. That's how you know. I'm very upset with you. Because it was my birthday, too.
Lauren can't make eye contact. Oh my gosh. She cannot make eye contact. You went to Jersey for your mom's birthday. Yes. And you didn't see other mother. You only saw your mom. So you didn't get two cards. I did not. But my birthday is in a couple weeks. And she's going to come here and not visit you. That's what she said. So what are you feeling when I play this? What's going on in your head? I'm thinking like, okay, this was like a, first it went from like just a me and her thing to then I used to let like my sister like listen to the voicemails and she's like, how often does she do this? Now it's for all of San Diego. It took like a while to let even boyfriends hear it. Now I'm like, hey guys, feast. Yeah, here you go. Other mothers, feast on this. And when I run into your other mother, I will be sure to punch her in that. Punch her in the flat face? I think fat. Fat. Face of hers. Other mother is violent. Other mother is violent. Oh, yeah. She's real different from regular mother. It's her alter ego. It's her alter ego. If I don't hear from you, I will be extremely upset. Oh, my gosh. Okay? Bye-bye.
I love you. Do you love me? Oh my gosh. The laugh. Wow, that was a long other mother laugh. Can we just have the clip? I love you. Do you love me? We've got to just isolate. I love you. Do you love me? Oh my gosh. Speechless. I'm speechless. My wife said. I could hear other mother all day long. Oh, yeah. It's the greatest. Oh, sometimes you have a hard time hearing her. It's like, I mean, understanding her. It's like Donald Duck. It's fantastic. Does she do it to Matt? No. Your BFMC? No, but she's sometimes like, she'll be leaving a message and my dad will be in the background and be like, you're going to hurt your throat. I know. I'm surprised she's not coughing. Yeah, she does sometimes. Sometimes she'll be in the middle of leaving that bit and then be like, oh. Bye. That's fantastic. Do you think that when you get married to your BFMC, that she, your boyfriend Matt Commerce, that she will get the microphone when it comes time for her to make.
Don't give her any ideas. You know what she's going to do? I can see it. She's going to try to wrestle it from herself. I just wanted to say. I'm so happy. That is 1,020% what is going to happen. I can't wait. I'm going to make sure. I'm going to be pouring cocktails down your mother's stuff. I have to see other mother. It'll only take about a half a wine cooler and she's there. Wine cooler. And by the way, I will be the one to start the standing O when that's done. I'll be the first. Yeah. Encore. You guys will be. You'll be at a table together in the back and all of a sudden a chant will come and say other mother, other mother, other mother, other mother. And she'll go, okay, okay. Give me that mic remote. I don't know though. My mom gets, she's a nervous public speaker. Well, not after I get done with her. Not after Woods fixes her a couple of hot toddies. Bartles and James. That's right. I love it. Little Boots Farm.
Love it. 570-1949. What did you think about her mother? So insane. I can't believe you guys can do it. A lot of people in my family can't do it. I don't think I can. We've been practicing for a lot of months. Can't do it. You can do it. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Let's do some radio charades. Call us right now if you want to play some radio charades. What do we got for a prize, Jay? We have, I have a couple different things. I have some yoga to give away. Okay, cool. And by the way, we still have not done the word of the day. It's ninja. You got to be listening for that word. There's a dude who's lost 27 pounds eating Twinkies. Tell you all about it.
Every day. Oh, my God. Woods is obsessed with this song. He's made me obsessed with it. I can't stop listening to it. I know. Even at home. Taylor Swift. I love it. She has a new boyfriend. Allegedly. Allegedly. I believe it. BFJG. Yeah, BFJG. He won't talk about it. Boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal. Jake Gyllenhaal. Or Gyllenhaal. Or Gyllenhaal. It's Gyllenhaal. Whatever. Maybe just keep that crank for a second. Oh, wow. It just feels real good. Sorry, I like it. I love it. Back to the Molly show. I'm a creep. I'm sorry, but that guitar is so John Mayer-esque. Yeah, she's obviously trying to take a little stab at him musically. You think she had like Joe Meyer do it? Okay, so we're going to do radio charades in a second. It's Jay's invention. I never thought it would fly. He was right. It's the funnest thing. It's one of the funnest things we do.
When he said radio charades, I was like, Jay, you realize? Oh, yeah. They can't see. It's a radio. You gave me the crazy face. Yeah. Literally. But it works. And it's fun. And if you want to play radio charades, call us right now, 570-1949. And we will give you tickets to go to the either five boot camp classes or yoga classes at Fact Performance Center in Carmel Mountain. First, Dina Lowen was on the Today Show. Just can't believe that she would take an opportunity to get some press. Weird, yeah. Shocking. She's like a monk. Yeah. But she talked about how Lindsay is doing in rehab. When you talk to Lindsay emotionally, what's her state of mind? Happy, relaxed. She does. She sounds like me, really? She's happy. Lindsay does. Her mom does. I know, and everyone says I look like Lindsay, too. You do. She's just a different person. It really, you know, she's been in a couple of facilities, but this one to me has really changed her. And they get into your psyche and the family and they bring the problem to the surface, you know, and it's difficult for admission, Lindsay being so public, and for her to Twitter that I have a problem, I messed up. We're hoping it'll help other families.
Betty Ford. Yeah. And it's a great place. I was there for 29 days. I got out on April 1st. And as a really hysterical, funny joke, told Rebecca that on April 1st, told her that was the day I was being released. And I told her, no, they want me to stay another 90 days. Yeah, as an April Fool's bit. So mean. Did you make her cry? No. Okay. But she was like, Oh, my gosh, they do? Why? I would have cried. You're like, I'm really bad. And I go, well, that's what they recommend. She goes, babe, no. And I go, April. I bet she wanted to slit your throat. But then at the same time, she was happy that it was only a joke. Yeah. You're such a prankster. This is one of the strangest things I've heard. Dina saying what Lindsay's goals are when she's done. You can be open and honest, as can Lindsay, that this is a problem she's addressing. You said to me last time age would make her able to move on from this and recover. She's not that much older than she was then, and we know she had a trouble after the last time she got out of rehab. You think this will be different? You know, we take it one day at a time. Addiction is difficult. I don't know. I don't have a crystal ball. You know, I pray hard, and I hope.
She will be able, she wants to start her own facilities, help other children. She's so public that I think we can only be positive and look to the future to help other families. She wants to start her own treatment facilities. Yeah, the Lindsay Lohan Rehab. I bet it would do really well, actually. You do? Uh-huh. Because people would be like, I don't go there. I ain't go there. I don't go there. I'm actually going to start. I have like a spray tan center. I'm going to start doing blows so I can go there. Don't. Say that. Mom, I want to go. Mom, I want an eight ball. I want to go to Lindsay Lohans. That's awful. Mom, I want to go to Lohans. Do you have an eight ball, Mom? Oh my God. 100%. Kids are stupid like that. My friends go. All my friends are going to Lohans for the summer and I can't go just because I don't have a drug problem? It's just BS. I'll meet you at the bar. I'm sure there's a bar. Give me a wine cooler. Give me a wine cooler. Please, I want to go.
It's so rad. If I drink four of these really fast, will I become an alcoholic? Stop! Excuse me. I know people that actually would go. Sabrina, you don't know. They wouldn't go because it's like cool and fun and whatever. They would go. It's a serious problem. You're sitting there saying that with your giant sunglasses. Yeah. Looking all young and, you know, taut. You know what? You want to know something, Mike? Oh, that's what I was thinking of. Do you want to know something? Yes. I'm hungover. So maybe I have a problem, and maybe I would have to go there, too. Maybe. You did a good summer trip for you. Who's going to go to Lindsay Lohan's rehab? I think you would, Sabrina. I would if I had a problem, which I guess maybe I do if I'm hungover at work. Oh, I think that's one on the checklist. Yeah. Are you trying to get us to put you in there? She hasn't even created it yet. I don't know. Is my dad listening? What's the delay on this? Eight seconds. It's not four years. It's an eight second delay. I just want my dad to know that I'm hungover. Not the ideal weather girl. Was that a cry for help? No, it's not a cry for help. It's a cry for more money to spend right down the street at Fashion Valley. I don't get a Fashion Valley. You don't? It's not what I need. Oh my gosh. I go on Rodeo Drive only. Is that a new bag?
Yeah. Kind of. Of course. It's a Louis Vuitton. Elvie. Louis. Another one. Seems like every time she comes in, she's got a new bag. Of course. I know. Can I have one of your old ones? Well, I actually have this side business that I do where I rent out my old bags. Your old what? Bags. Bags. Bags. She rents out her old bags. Yeah. Bags. Good money maker. It's actually really smart. Yeah. It is. I'm a business major. Yeah. At UCLA. Yeah. When you go back. When I go back. If I go back. I kind of need to. I don't know. I'm hungover in case my dad's listening. It's the weather today. It's the weather girl. You're looking out the window. Yeah. It was cold when I got out. Yeah. It's going to be today. I didn't have any clothes on. My window was open. I was like, oh my gosh. It's going to be today. It's so cold. What's the weather? You're looking out the window. No clouds. You're looking out the window. Possibly Sonny. That's just what you see. She's a clown. All right, you ready to play some radio charades? Let's do this. M1 George, are you there? Yeah, I'm right here, Mikey. How you doing? I'm doing good. We're going to start. Now, it's always movies. You need to know that. Okay. Always movies that we're working with here. And basically, we will have 60 seconds, okay? You will have 60 seconds. I'm going to be your ears, or excuse me, your eyes.
And Woods is going to begin. And we will have 60 seconds. If you know what the movie is, you need to just yell it out, okay? All right, let's do it. All right, let's do this. Here we go. Six words in this movie title. First word. First word. One syllable. No, first word is one. One. Okay, one is the first word. One flow of the cuckoo's neck. What just happened? Wow. You're like the girl that won on Wheel of Fortune in one letter. Oh, my gosh. Genius. I'm shaking. Wow, wow, wow. All I know is that when Woods read what the title was, Woods had to look like, what am I supposed to do? Wow. Gave me the stink eye. That was rad. You are a legend. He came to play. Dude. In play, he did. That was great. Nice job, Jorge. That was great, George. Hang on the line. Man. Wow. That was easy. M1 dog lover.
All right. Lauren is going to be acting this out for you. I've got to turn the mics off. I don't want to hear anything. I don't want to hear anything. I don't want to hear anything. I don't want to hear anything. It's going to be a movie title. You will have 60 seconds. M1 dog lover. Are you ready? I am. All right. Here we go. Two words. Second word. Lauren. Oh, wow. Lauren just hit her butt on a guitar. She's down on all fours. She's walking. It is not dog. She is. Oh, she's doing like a matador, like a bull. Bull is the word. Bull is the word. Raging bull. Raging bull? Is that it? No? That's not it. Did he say it? Did he say it? Raging bull? Yeah, raging bull. I couldn't hear. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Sorry. Wow. I was like, it's gotta be raging bull. It's gotta be raging bull. Yeah, I'm like, what else has bull as the second word? Okay. You got it. You got it, dog lover. Hang on the line, okay? Thank you. That was good.
That's good, LLB. All right, Sienna's up next. And M1, mirror reader from Oside. Are you there? Yeah, I sure am. Okay. Oh, boy. Sienna is going to be doing this. Oh, my. She is shaking her head at me and smiling. And that look on Sienna's face says, why? Why me? Why me? Why me? Are you ready? Yeah. Here we go. Five words in this movie title. The second word. She's giving me shh. be quiet uh quiet uh silence silent silence is the second word uh fifth word uh she's walking around she's an animal she's a uh sheep she's a lamb she's a lamb she's a lamb you got it dude that's the best lamb impression i've ever seen she was mouthing silently I was trying to look like the happiest sheep. That was the happiest sheep. You guys' lambs are happy, I guess. They're ecstatic. Yeah, not those lambs, but most lambs are. That lamb was not being led to slaughter. No. It was a very, very happy lamb.
Wow. I didn't even realize that's what I was doing. It's like something comes over you. Yes, it does. It's the greatest game ever. 5701949 is our number. Three winners today. Great work, everybody. That was great. You guys are great. You guys are on it. I didn't think you'd ever get that. In just a little bit, Biz Marquis is going to be on. Biz Marquis is on a TV show for kids called Yo Gabba Gabba. If you're a parent, I'm 40 years old. I got a four-year-old. If you're a parent and you've got kids that are about my kid's age, four, or younger, you know Yo Gabba Gabba. Oh, yeah. And Biz Marquis is on Yo Gabba Gabba. He does a few things. He does Biz's rap of the day or something. Beat of the day. Beat of the day, yeah. He beatboxes. He beatboxes. Do you guys know how to beatbox? A boo. A bee. That's your best beatbox. Oh my gosh, are you kidding? What does beatbox sound like? I learned this from the Run DMC record. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think I can do that. That's pretty good, huh? What? That's pretty good, right? He did that just so he could show off. Yeah, of course. That's L.O.B. He also does something called Cool Tricks. Hey, kids.
I'm the beatboxer, Biz Marquis, and my cool trick is making more than one sound with my mouth at one time. Check it out. I'm Biz Marquis, the human. Whoa. Do that. No. What, you guys can't do that? Oh, my gosh. What, you guys doing? Yeah, I know. I think. Everybody was doing it at the same time. I mean, yeah, all of us did it. Easy. Watch I'll turn off every
I'm convinced that if you crack her head open, there's an alien I know At first, they thought she was just a regular girl and comedian on a radio show. Until one day, she started to make weird noises with her mouth. And it was discovered that there was actually an alien living in a blonde body. She tried to conceal it the best she could, but one day, when walking into the studios of the Mikey show, her tail was hanging out of the bottom of her jeans. Holy cow. That was very impressive. So here's my son Jake doing his Biz Marquis bit. One more thing, guys. That is nice. That's so cute. A little Jakey. So Biz Marquis will be on at 9. Get ready for that. Last night I had to take care of myself for dinner because my wife. Oh, no. What did you do, Mike? Why is that so funny to us? I know. Because we take care of Mike, too. I'm surprised you didn't call me to come over. I know. Or me.
And so we were walking through Henry's and I had to find something. So I got one of those barbecued chickens. I've gone that route. Rotisserie chicken. And Rebecca left and I had to figure out what to do with this chicken because I didn't really know what to do with it. I didn't just want to. You eat it. I know, but. The pre-made stuff, you're not sure how to cook it. It's already cooked. I was in the same predicament. It's a rotisserie chicken. Yeah, but I was like, do I just start plucking at it? Yeah. And I didn't want to. Carving. I didn't want to. So I got two pieces of white bread, and I put Dijon mustard on one side, mayonnaise on the other, and then I picked the chicken apart with my fingers and stuck it on there and put a piece of cheese. That's very strange. How was it? I ate it with potato chips. It's not bad. Skin or no skin? Skin. Really? Cartilage. You know my favorite thing to do with those chickens? Take all the meat off, throw it in a pot, a little broth, get some biscuits, put them in there, let it float around and make chicken and dumplings. That's pretty good. That ain't wrong. How do you get the biscuits?
Just the biscuits that come in the tin. Okay. You just pop them open and drop them in and they cook up. Oh, you don't even have to cook them before. No, they cook in the boiling broth. Chicken and dumplings. Everyone's going to try that tonight. Look at this guy. What else can you do with one of those rotisserie chickens? Oh, a lot. You can get it tossed up for salad. Yeah. You can make soup. Woods, you're saying that you just sit there and just eat it? Yeah, I did the same. Your wife and my wife were actually together last night. Yeah. Wow. And last week. Or Jay. Creepy Jay. Oh, yeah. Just got that. I went last week and did the same thing when they were together again. for the first time. Now Woods is all in on it. And I grabbed the exact same thing and I took it home and it was just that chicken sitting there and I just ripped a leg off, feasted on the leg, had some potato salad. Did you heat it up or anything? No, it's hot. Jamie came home, there were bones all over and just laying on the couch. I had to fend for myself last night too. It comes in a special bag and everything. Oh yeah, and you get sides and stuff with it at...
Albertson's. It's delicious. We do another thing. We take the bow tie noodles and then peas and some other vegetables mixed in and throw the chicken into that like a chicken kind of stir fry. Can you make that tonight and bring it in tomorrow maybe? Yeah, seriously. I have a question. Last night, it was all the girls from Rebecca's Bible study, which your wife is in, came over and they went and did something, right? They went to dinner. They went to dinner and whatever. So I'm going upstairs and there's like four beautiful women. standing in my house. One of them was your wife and my wife. And I thought to myself, I wonder if when we have guys come over, if your wife is like, oh, look at all those hot dudes. Usually there's like one that you're like, oh, hey. Is there really? There is? There is? Creeps? There's usually always one. You think, oh, wow, you scored one of those guys? Yeah, how'd you get that guy in your group? Maybe this guy comes over more often. Yeah, I'm sure that's me in argument. Maybe this guy makes me blush. Maybe this guy makes me blush. Oh, wow. Yep. Holy cow. You think your wife's checking Kelly out? Oh, I'm sure. Yeah, I'm sure. Is he a sharp cat? Oh, yeah. Got a nice ride. Yeah, I'm sure. Got a nice ride.
It's about six foot two. Yeah. Good shape. Good shape. Nice as can be. Your wife's like, hi, Kelly. Hi, Kelly. Hi, Mike. Hi. Hey, Mike. How are you? Maybe you give my wife a hug every now and then. Oh, boy. I think it would be strange. Maybe you give her a hug tonight. I always give Rebecca a hug. I know, but it doesn't make a difference to me. If you didn't hug her, I wouldn't trip out. Just give her a hug. I wouldn't even notice. Just give her a hug. You think it'd be strange because of the whole field ski thing or just because you haven't been doing it before? Yeah, because we're going to touch chests. Mike, you need to grow up. I know. I'm over it. Come on, Pete. You know, now I think about that. Oh, I hugged Hillary. I hugged Hillary the other night and I was like, I bet she, I still can't get it out of my head. I want to squeeze him. He thinks that girls are all aware of our boobs being touched by your chest. No. I still can't get it out of my head. Woods is giving me a wink. Kid's a big hugger. Yeah, makes sense. Big hugger. Suddenly it makes sense. I'm like Lauren. I'm very conscious of people's personal space. I want to give them their personal. I feel like if I hug your wife, I'm intruding on her. Well, now it's creepy because it's out that you don't hug her. I don't hug anybody. Now if you did it, it would be. You hug me. I don't hug you. Can we just all say, okay, it's okay to hug. Hugging is nice. L.O.B. walked in the store and gave me a big hug. That's true. Yeah, big hug.
Two-hander. It's because the kid's a hugger. Kid's a hugger. Yeah. He set the bar for himself. If I knew that everybody was okay with it, I would hug, but I don't want to invade people's personal space. People are okay with Frenching. How much time would we lose if we hugged every morning? It would be a time waster. I can't be hugging every morning. It's a time waster. Woods is a hug rapist. He'll just take it. He takes it. I do. He does. I roofie. He roofies me. Oh, yeah. Love hugs. Okay. Makes the world go round. I don't ever hate them when they're happening. I'm just like, ooh, this is going to be awkward when I go in for it. You're kind of like touching your body, you know? I don't even think about it. Just hug. Throw me in the bay. Yeah. Absolutely. If everybody could just live their life that way, it would not. This is how we should all live our lives, right? Yeah. I'm going to start today. I'll hunt you down. Just listen to the words of this songstress. It's a guy. That can't be true
You can sing around their booth. Wendy's happy birthday. Why would you say that? You don't know that. Don't I? How do you know that? He just likes karaoke. Yes, his movements are feminine. In his black tank top. Skin tight. His baby gap tank top is a little bit tight. There's no doubt about it. I've enjoyed your musical choices. So
Is Dancing with the Stars, is it just a dating show? Is that the deal with Dancing with the Stars? Every season, there's always at least one couple that hooks up. How would you not? Is it like an affair show? Like, is it officially an affair show? Like, you go on it and you have an affair. If they asked my husband to be on the show and said, you'll get $2 million, I would say, absolutely not. You're not going on that show. Well, my wife said, well, first of all, I can't dance. But if I could, she would never allow me to go on that show. Woods. Do you know that the bit with that show is you go on there and whoever your dance partner is, you end up falling in love with them and making love with them and leaving your wife for them or whatever. Haven't you guys seen Dirty Dancing? That's what happened. There's one of the professional dancers, Cheryl Burke. She always goes after her partner. Really? Yes. Is that the truth? In my mind, she was with Rick Fox this season. I was like, uh-oh, I feel bad for his girlfriend, Eliza Dushku. Okay. You thought he was married? No, he's with Eliza Dushku. He used to be married to Vanessa Williams. Wait, wait, wait. What? Who's with Elijah Dushka? Rick Fox. For real? Yeah, he was voted off Dancing with the Stars. He was with the professional dancer who always goes after her partner. Sounds like the professional who-er. I don't like her because of it. Okay, I don't know anything from anything, but I thought she was the one that didn't. I thought she was the only one. I thought they all had. Oh, no. Really? Yeah. I get a bad vibe from her. You get a bad vibe? Well, when we come back, you'll hear audio of the latest person denying a relationship with her partner.
Oh, I just gave a hint. Her partner. Yeah. Oh, it's like I'm in high school. I love it. Sienna, what's going on in news? Well, the Elizabeth Smart trial continues today in the federal kidnapping, you know, against Brian David Mitchell. And we now know that he planned for months on how he was going to kidnap her. Did he really? Yeah, apparently. Her parents hired him. He was like a homeless street preacher. And he came into the house months before the kidnapping and fixed a leaky faucet. A leaky roof.
And that's how he spotted her and was like, that's the one I want her. Came in in the middle of the night. How creepy is that? That's awful. I know, especially because her parents were helping him, you know, giving him money to do that. On a lighter note, Britain's queen, Queen Elizabeth, has just joined Facebook yesterday. And she already has over 60,000 fans. You can't be a friend with her. You can't send her private messages. But you can become a fan and receive updates on the royal family. Oh, really? Oh, yes. Get on that. Woodsy, what's going on in sports? Big news. Big news. Brace yourselves. Hendrick Motorsports announced that Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson are going to switch pit crews. You know why? The remaining two Spring Cup Series races this season. You know why? They didn't do very well last week. They were terrible. Were they? Yeah, and in the middle of the race, he benched a guy. I love that. And Jeff Gordon was basically out of contention in the race, so his pit, whatever they call it.
I want to say pit boss. Crew chief. Crew chief. There you go. His crew chief says, yeah, since you guys are already out of it, we're canning one of our guys in the middle of this race. We need one of yours. Wow. Yeah. Yeah, so they're going to switch up. And then after 21 seasons, ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball broadcast duo is no more. John Miller and Joe Morgan are not having their contracts renewed. It's going to be really weird on Sunday Night Baseball, which is something I watch every Sunday. What's he going to do now? Don't know. He's going to be a ninja. He's decided that he's going into a different line. Astronaut or ninja. Good work. Good work if you can get it. It's good work if you can get it. That's Brian Wilson. He's a ninja. Yeah. I've applied for numerous ninja positions. Well, you got the outfit. Yeah, that's what the deal is. I always put on the application that I have the outfit. You got the high-pitched scream, too. Yeah! But what I don't have is the height or the weight requirement. They need a diminutive stature, and you have that. But there's a minimum weight requirement that I just couldn't meet. I got phone calls from them. Yeah. They should send a picture. Yeah. And then they're like, eh. And they said, eh, probably not going to happen. Ex-nay. Can't do it. Ever applied for Ninja Job Woods? No. I like girls.
Ninjas are cool. Yeah. Ninjas are cool. They get all the girls. They do. Oh. Oh. Who's that? Yeah, it's Mikey. Did you apply for the position of a ninja? Yeah, actually, I did. Okay, what... Is it now a good time? Yeah, actually, I have like 10 minutes, so now it is a good time. Okay, let me ask you a couple of... It says here you have your own ninja karate. You actually do. I have a ninja outfit. Do you? Yeah, I do. That's my friend. Black or what? She's over here right now. Black or what? I have a black ninja outfit. Make sure you tell them that you have a split-toed shoes. Anything else? Yeah, I have a split-toed shoes as well. Then you just get the Death Stars? Very, very good. They have a weaponry. Weaponry.
Do you have weapons free? Yeah, I do. I have Chinese stars. Nunchucks. Anything else? Anything else? You have nunchucks. Okay, sounds good. How tall are you? I knew you were going to ask that question. I knew it. I am six feet tall. Wow. His spider sense is working. I am five foot six. How much do you weigh? I know don't cry. I weigh 145 pounds. Michael. Can't lie to a ninja. I weigh 215 pounds.
That's it, just like that. Wow, I'm sorry, Mike. I know. He's a very calm guy. Those are the breaks, man. Sensei. I wonder if his deal is that he just makes the call and sets up the interview. Yeah, set the appointment. He sets the appointment and there's a closer. His English is the best. Yeah, that's why they do it. And then they fly you out. Is there a ninja junior you could be in? That would be good. I wonder if they have junior ninjas. Ninja in training. Ninja in training. NIT. That would be awesome. There you go. You'd be a nit. That's right. A ninja in training. We all have dreams. Yeah. Funny. M1. M1RB. M1RB, are you there? Hello? Hi, is this M1RB? No.
No, I hung up on Arby on mistake. Come back, Arby. Bring us some burgers. Fat fingers. Yeah, bring us some Arby's. I've never been there. Oh my gosh, it's so good. Me neither. Uh-oh. What? Wait, neither of you? There's three of them. Isn't it like roast beef? What do they even have there? I said burgers, then I was like, wait, do they even have that? They have horsey sauce. What's horsey sauce? Like horseradish? It's good. They're red sauce. Like, that's not ketchup. Arby sauce, it's called. Yeah. Oh, I did go to one. I did on a cross-country road trip. They have the pumps, and you can get different sauces. Yeah. Pumpers like the pump. Yeah. Speaking of which. Uh-oh. I got to get out of here in a few seconds. No, wait a few more minutes. My son, Jake. My son, Jake, is four. He'll do this thing. Oh, we got him back. M1 Arby Gar? Yes. What was the word of the day? You guys said it enough. That's right. It was Ninja. He just won five boot camper yoga classes at Fact Performance Center in Carmel Mountain and four pack of tickets to Snow Jam, Ski, and Snowboard Expo. Congratulations, bro. Thank you. Hang on the line. My son Jake's four.
Sometimes he'll come into the room and he will get into bed. He'll be nude and he'll try to sit on my arm, which disgusts me and gasses me out. That's disgusting. And I pull my arm away. It's your baby. It's his butt. It's his butt. Baby butt. It's his butt. It's so good. No, it doesn't. You let your dogs in your bed. Yeah. But it's not just that. Why is it different? It's not different. I don't want those parts around me either. Yeah. And so my wife thinks it's... the funniest thing she's ever seen. And Jake kind of does too because he can tell it grosses me out. He's like me with you. And so what he does is he'll grab my left wrist and then he'll do like he's getting on a horse. And I pull my arm. I pull my arm and he's laughing. He thinks it's the funniest thing in the world. So yesterday I introduced him to the Sit On You song.
From Tim and Eric. Yeah. Same people that brought you pumpers. Oh, my gosh. He thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever heard in his life. This is what I do. I sit on you. Sit on you. Sit on you. This is what I do. I sit on you. Right on your lap. Oh, yeah. This is what I do. I sit on you. I can see Jake just running around to this. Love it. I do. I sit on you. Right on your head. Woo. This is what I do. This is what I do. This is what I do. Sit on you. This is what I do is sit on you. Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit on you. This is not for kids, by the way. No? No. Sit, sit, sit on you. Does it get dirty? No. Dude, it... The video's very weird with the old... It's Tim and Eric. The guy in the overalls trying to sit on everybody? Yeah. Their stuff is... You can't decide if it's funny, if it's really... Inappropriate. Inappropriate, if it's...
Creepy. It's hard to decide. What is happening? I was trying to find some aspirin for deer woods. Kid's got a brutal migraine, dude, behind my eye. Oh, I found my bracelet. My B-different bracelet. I thought I lost it. I took it off to wash my hands in the airport. You did? Now you can be different again. Yeah. I had Advil. You do? I need some. I'm dying. Put on a smile, Mike. It's going to be okay. I know. I'm trying to fight through, dude, but it hurt. It can't even open my eye. Did it just happen? Yeah, like two minutes ago. I feel like I'm going to vomit. Sorry, bud. Do you have something wrong with that? Yeah, I get migraines. You do? Yeah, it's awesome. How long? I used to call in sick for them. My whole job, I can't do that. Yeah. When did you start getting them? Forever. Are you leaving now? Where are you going? Excedrin migraine is the best for migraines. Yeah, it is. It is the best. Because you need caffeine. Mine goes right behind. I get them too. I want to kill myself. I need to be in the dark and completely still.
Just like this. Now there's bright lights in here. Okay, so here's the latest person denying that they are not messing around with the person they dance with on Dancing with the Stars. Bristol Palin. Well, y'all seem to have a good chemistry. You seem to really work well together. And there are rumors that y'all are dating. I mean, you're not going to tell us if you are, but are you? Some of me. I can guarantee that they're not. No. Right. Why? I have an eye for these things. Really? Yeah, I'm telling you. I can see them and I can't. She's pretty good looking. Bristol? I think so. I used to. Not really on the show. She doesn't look that great. No? No. But if you were, you wouldn't tell me anyway. No, I'd tell you. Really? Yeah. Or not. Yeah. Or not. I think that honestly he's annoyed that she even asked. He's annoyed. He's like, I'm not dating her. But don't people get high pitch when they lie? No, I think, I don't know. I want to see body language. I think he's annoyed with Bristol a little bit. Like, no, like I could do better? Yeah. Why would I stoop to that level? It's exactly that because one time I saw the girl on the show that interviews them, she was like, so why do people always say that your mom has an accent? And Bristol was like, my mom doesn't have an accent. And the guy's like, yeah, she does. Like, he was annoyed with Bristol for sure. Yeah.
First of all, I don't have an accent. I don't know. You clearly do, though. I have a husband, Todd. Sienna has a husband, Todd. But when you just said that, you had an accent. I say it the way that Sienna says it. No, the way that you just said Sienna said it. I say Todd. Todd. Yeah, that sounds different than the way she said it. Todd. Todd. No. Todd. No, I'm not. Is it hard to meet people that you trust now? Yeah, it's really hard for me to want a date after the situation I had myself in. And I'm not worried about a boyfriend right now. Yeah. I believe her. I believe her too. Because she misses her son. She's away from him, and she wants to get back to that. And she still loves Mr. Levi. Oh, yeah. Who sounds like to be gone for two months, though? You don't think you're going to be gone for that long. Especially her. I'm sure she thought she was going to be eliminated the first week. Yeah. I don't... To me, it was so foolish, I thought. Yeah. You go on a TV show, you know you're going to... If you go on Survivor, after a week...
Why are you surprised that you're out in the middle of a jungle? You guys, they're going down to the final people now and Bristol's still there. You're not surprised that she's still there. People are voting for her. They like her? And everyone thought she'd be the first one eliminated. How come they like her? I don't know. Maybe they feel sorry for her. Is she a good dancer? No, not really. Maybe they want to see her get more notoriety than that clown she was dating. The judges on the show always have her in the bottom two because she's not very good, but people vote her in. So why do they have judges? That's what I want to know. That's the same thing as American Idol. Why do you have judges? To give you professional input, I guess. So that you, the viewer, can see what a professional thinks of them. And not to mention, as Mikey said many times, when you watch the dancing shows, most people are like... Oh, I thought that was good. Oh, they said it's bad? Really? They should be called consultants, not judges. Yeah. America's the judge. My 73-year-old father has extremely strong opinions about the dancers in that show. Out or in? Oh, yeah. I mean, certain ones he's in, certain ones he's out. He's got very strong opinions about all of them. So Lauren says that she met a friend for lunch yesterday and that the friend does something that drives her nuts. Now, I want to see if anybody listening...
experiences this, has this experience. The friend likes to eavesdrop on the conversations that people around her, wherever they are, are having. Doesn't everyone? Yeah, doesn't everybody? No. What? Don't they? On everything? Everything. Well, let me read to you what she says in our recap and then we'll discuss. She says, I'm not talking about the sensational arguments that we all want to listen to. In other words, the big Making a big deal out of it argument. She says, but what she does is she shushes me. Oh, yeah. Anytime people are within earshot and she can sort of hear a conversation happening. She said, I'm sorry, but I don't care about why Johnny Coffee Shop wants to ask for a raise. Yeah, I don't. It really irritates me because I'll be in mid-conversation with her and she'll cut me off to eavesdrop on strangers. What does that sound like, L.O.B.? So I haven't seen you in six. Did you hear that?
What? What are we listening to? What? Like, really? I see this girl a couple times. Wouldn't that be you, Woods? No, I think it's got to have some legs. A fight. It's got to be a fight, or it's got to be like this. So I met this girl last night, and oh my God. See, I wouldn't care about that either. I don't care. I want to hear about that. How are you even not listening enough to the convo that you're in to overhear that? So I took this girl home last night. And here's what happened. I'm all the way in. How the guys think, everything behind it. This would be me if I heard that. First of all, I roll like douche. And then I would continue my zero interest. None. Zero. What if you're this? Ready? If you ever. Wait, wait, wait. Let's test it. Let's test it. I'm going to be talking to LOB. We're having lunch. I can hear you. In fact, you're talking to Sienna. Okay. So I'm going to put Sienna, I'm going to put you guys down a little bit. Talk.
Normal. Argument? Yeah, but I want to get the microphone level right. You want kind of a juicy conversation? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Check, check, check. Ready? Yeah. So, L.O.B., how was Jersey? It was good. It was like a good amount of time to be home. You're being ridiculous. What did you guys do? I'm sorry, I can't. You're being so jealous, right? I know, there's people next to us are talking. I wasn't drunk. What did you guys do? Do you hear this guy? I do, but I could care less. What did you guys do? I'm telling you. You were being so ridiculous. I don't want to hear that. He's talking about her boobs. I know, but I'm not interested. Look at her boobs. I'm not going to look at her boobs. It's not a test. I want to know. Wow, she's got big boobs. What did you do in New Jersey? I saw a lot of family. I did not make out with him. You made out with him? I don't know. Hang on just a second. Excuse me, guys. Excuse me. I'm trying to talk to a buddy of mine. Great. Mind your business. Anyway. That's right. See, I'm going to get in a fight here. Never mind. Okay, I won't listen because the guy's kind of a jerk. He's kind of a weirdo. So what did you guys do? Did you see the baby?
Yes, I saw my niece that lives here. You love me. I love you, yes. Hang on just a second. Hey, guys. I'm so sorry, but my friend. Kick rocks. I don't care. Can we have a conversation? But you guys are, we're in a public place. I know. Why are we allowed to have a conversation? Okay, fine, guys. Get out of here. This guy's strange, man. Yeah. So the baby's okay? Baby's good? Baby's good, yeah. It's always hard to say goodbye to my one niece that lives in New Jersey because, you know, I only see her like a couple times when talking about email. See, that's why we're together because we like the same stuff. I know. I love you. I love you too. I could be complete. You're good, Mike. Oh, I, listen. That's been me. I mean, I've been in the room and I'm like, what do I? They had me at Big Jugs. Yeah. Big Jugs. I didn't even know that he had said anything about her Jugs. Really? I didn't even hear it. Maybe I'm the pot calling the kettle black, but she wants to listen to everything. L-O-P. Everything. Really? I have no idea one thing that you and Lauren said, Mike. Oh, me neither. I don't know what you guys said. Once it gets sensational, I guess I start listening. I was focusing. Oh, I know. I can tune out. I love to see.
I love to see heated conversations. I'll do this to Jamie all the time. I'm like, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up. I would rather people watch. I like to watch interactions that happen. I like to watch unsaid word body language. I love to, in my head, fill in the blanks. I will say this. If I'm by myself, I'm 100% going to listen. But if I'm with somebody, I do tune out. I eavesdropped and heard a proposal one time. You did? Yeah, wouldn't have heard that if I wasn't eavesdropping. I can picture you and I, though, sitting at lunch and listening to somebody's convo. I can picture that. The only reason that we would is because you would judge me and you would go, I'm trying to listen to this. And then I would go, I'd roll my eyes and I'd wait until it was done and I'd go, can we talk now? Can we talk about the iPhone 4 now? Yeah, can we get back to the iPhone 4? Can we talk about Apocalypse Now? Biz Markie is next. Don't go away. All I can tell you is I hope my wife remembered to make sure that my son Jake was listening at 9 a.m. this morning because he is a big Yo Gabba Gabba fan. Parents know Yo Gabba Gabba. It's a show for little kids, and it's also very kind of cool for adults, too. A lot of celebrities go on Yo Gabba Gabba. Biz Marquis on it. Hey, kids.
I'm the beatboxer, Biz Marquis, and my cool trick is making more than one sound with my mouth at one time. Check it out. I'm Biz Marquis, the human owner. Love it. Love it. So my son was really into it, and Biz is on the line. Hi, Biz. What's up, Mikey? How you doing? Chilling, chilling. You're just chilling. I love it. So, Biz, let me ask you. You have got to be... just as popular nowadays walking down the street because of Yo Gabba Gabba as back in the day, right? I mean, do you get just mobbed by kids? I get kids. I get grown. I get rabbis. I get everybody. You get everybody. So how did this happen that you ended up on a kid show? The ones that made it. I just came in. There was fans of mine, so they wanted me to come and do.
business beater today. Yeah. I mean, they wanted me to come and do the dancey dance. Right. But the night before I DJed, my back hurt so lazy and I said, well, dancey dance, but why don't I do the beatbox? Let's name it. So we did it on an overwhelming response and three after that. Yeah, it got an overwhelming response from my four-year-old Jake, too. Take a listen. One more time, kids. He loves it. He loves it. So are you going to be on the tour that's coming to town? Okay, so I said this earlier. Yo Gabba Gabba Tours, they're coming to San Diego. And it's the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It's like 2 o'clock in the afternoon. And I'm sure that you guys make about half a billion dollars every time you guys go to a city. Because it's, you know, it's a phenomenon. Brad Pitt.
is into Yo Gabba Gabba. Jack Black appears on Yo Gabba Gabba. Aquabots, is that what they're called? Aquabots? Yeah, Aquabots. Yeah. It's great. And, you know, it seems that adults are just as into this show as kids are because their kids are watching it. And I have to admit, out of all the kid shows that are on TV that I have to see, I actually enjoy this one. And when my kids are not paying attention, I am. Which is really, and I'm singing those songs. I'm singing like all the Yo Gabba Gabba songs. So what do you do on the tour? You go and you'll come out and you'll do the beatbox thing? Well, you got to think. But I don't. That's a cool video online of him, what happens. He's on the big screen and what happens is funny. It's great.
It's great. And so, so Biz, after the success of Just a Friend, which, by the way, it's so it's such a different and unusual song. I think everybody would agree. I mean, it's not the it's not what you expect. I like the video. The video is great. But how did you get your start? How did you start doing this? One of the makers of the human beatbox. Like one of the creators. And that's how I really got my start. San Shante and Marlon, I got down with them. And they bought NFC Shan and they bought me in. First record was... And then after that, make the music in the biz dance. Okay. Now, have you been making records ever since then? For a record for like almost 15, 20 years. But I've been on projects. I've been on projects like with the Beastie Boys. You know, I do it. Okay.
And so when you were doing that, were you making a living? And I hope this isn't too personal. I'm just fascinated. Whenever I do an interview, I just ask the questions that are interesting to me. So that's what I'm doing. I'm just asking the questions that are interesting to me. So during that 20-year period where you weren't putting out any records and you were doing these side projects and stuff like that, you were making enough dough from the side projects and I'm guessing from royalties. that you were paying bills and living life. And I'm thinking to myself, how incredible would it be to have Biz Marquis be a DJ for something that you're doing? And I'm sure that it isn't cheap. I'm sure it would, you know, it's probably... I just bring a different element to the table. And I did. And I did a whole bunch of stuff. I just wanted to do just the same type of. So I wanted to explore something else. So I went into DJ and I dabbled here, dabbled there. Biz Marquis, I love you. It was fun talking to you. Thank you for entertaining our kids. We love it. And I always will entertain. I love it. Nice. I love it. Thank you, Biz. We appreciate it, man. All right. Thank you. We'll see you. Biz Marquis.
Have you ever met a girl that you tried to date? Never forget this song. Let me tell your story in my situation. I was talking to this girl from the U.S. nation. My wife, Jamie, knows every word. Your wife, Jamie, knows every word? I don't know one word, but I know. Well, I know. Oh, baby, you. This is brilliant to me. It's brilliant. The style, everything about it. I don't think he's one of those guys that takes himself so seriously. You know what I mean? He's having fun. That's the thing. The fact that it's bad is what makes it great. He's having fun with it. Like the piano. Oh, my gosh. That's great. It was one of those ones that when it came out, I was like, what in the hell is this? And then I was like, oh, baby, you're jamming with it. See, and that was my brother with the band The Darkness.
It's supposed to be that. It's supposed to be kitschy and fun. Yeah. Very catchy. And it's supposed to be weird. I love it. I remember being like a little white girl on the playground with like my arms around other girls and we would be like, oh baby, you. Oh wow. Just arms around little black guys. Did you guys know, well first of all, let's do some new releases. You got new releases, Woodsy? Yeah. Right. I know that. I do. You know that. I just got to get them. Hang on. Did I just turn? There we go. It was a little early for new releases for the kid. You know, it's all right. No, actually, it's right around the same time. Yeah, we do. Every time. Nine. Nine o'clock. Nine o'clock is when we do it. 945. 949. 949, Mikey Show? Yeah. I haven't done news in a while. All right. Jay, those were all on there that I gave you? Yes, sir. Okay, then we are ready to rock and roll, my brother. Here we go. Ever stall for time? What do we got? Alter Bridge. AB3. It's all the members of Creed with Miles Kennedy as their singer. See, there's somebody. She wasn't here for my coming out. No. Oh, gosh. Oh, wait. We have to stop everything. Lauren, you don't even know. You didn't know. Don't tell me that you like Creed. No, I don't like Creed. It's worse. Woods came out. Nickelback?
Woods came out and not like gay. A little. What he admitted on the air was that he pretended that he thought that a lot of bands were really cool. Yes. So that he could be cool. Yes. But the truth was is that he really liked a lot of bands and he kept quiet about it. And I would sometimes maybe cry in my car about it. Any examples? Yeah. I have an iPod full of music that I don't even like. Yeah. He downloaded it because he wanted to be cool and he wanted to appear to be cool. Okay, okay. I've done that. Yeah, but I have a ton. I have a whole album by a band called Built to Spill. They have one good song, but I have the whole record. Okay? Uh-huh. I've got... Fleet Foxes, which I don't like. I've got Mason Jennings, which I don't like. I've got Dr. Dog, which I don't like. I've got The Fire Theft, which is, they're okay. See, it's a lot of stuff that if you say you like it, you sound like you're really, really cool. I have two Arcade Fire records on here that I could care less about.
It's a cool band. Like Johnny Cash. Who's going to make fun of you for liking Johnny Cash? Well, I actually like Johnny Cash. Exactly. And a lot of people do. I'm saying that's an example of a cool band. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. My question is, have you actually listened to these bands? Yes. Oh, yeah. And I know that about Woods. I've tried them, and I'm like, I don't get it. I don't get it. I wish I got it. I don't get it. I subscribe to Spin Magazine, and when my spin comes in the mail, I'm like... You can do this. You can get through this magazine. You can still do it. You can read about what Sonic Youth is up to. I'm sorry. Sonic Youth is one of the worst bands ever. And everyone loves them. And I'm like, yeah, they're freaking dynamite. Did you read the new article? Terrible. I'm not a fan of them. Yeah. And see, here's the deal. And I've said this all along. Yep. When it comes to music, there just is no good and no bad. And the reason is because everybody is different. Yeah. But there is no such thing as good or bad. It's just you. It's your style, your preference. It's whatever you like. But see, I've come to the realization that there is a train of thought that says, I will not like something because of an association. If I just even make an association, I'll be out. For instance, this altar bridge, you say, oh yeah, this is the members of Creed without Scott Stapp.
And just wholesale, people will go, oh, yeah. I don't have to hear it. You don't have to hear it because you know. Now, when it comes to Creed, couldn't be more out on a band. Was out on Creed from the first time I heard them. No, there's a ton of other songs I love. Never liked them. There's a ton of other songs I really like that evoke an emotion in me. But see, the thing about Creed was, for me, was Scott Stapp. So maybe I could listen to this band because he's not in it. I did not like that guy's voice. Who else? We didn't hear it. Do you want to play some of it? I'd like to hear it. It's pretty overwrought. It's a little heavy. Dramatic. It's a little dramatic. See it like in a movie. Lestat. Yeah, he's coming out of the coffin. And he's leaning in the corner. He's eating baklava and he's looking at you. He's got baklava in one hand and the other hand he's got a goblet full of blood. Well, on a lighter note, how about Susan Boyle's new record, The Gift? Oh my God.
Gorgeous. That's Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley. It's so crazy. By Leonard Cohen. You have to admit, this woman has a beautiful voice. This is gorgeous. Covered song in America. Yeah, it is. Or the UK. She looked like everybody's Aunt Franny. Yeah. She's cleaned up a little bit now. Has she? Yeah, she looks so bitter. Still, you hear this voice and you're like, she must be an angel. We're right. And then you see her and you're like, Aunt Franny. Aunt Franny, just belting it out. Hi. She's adorable. She is cute. Just as a button. Love her. Yeah. How about CeeLo Green, the lady killer? I like this. And L.O.B. Uh-huh. Sounds like a new wine house. Yeah, I like it. I like it, yeah. Reminds me of my youth. Yep. Yeah. Very fun. How about Kid Cudi, Man on the Moon 2? Yeah. There it is. I went on the wrong speed.
I don't get it. Yeah, I don't really either. I don't know what he's doing. This one, I could not be more out on. What? Reba McIntyre, All the Woman I Am. I like Reba. Reba! Oh, I like it. Silly. You know why it's hard for me? What's that? Because I think to myself, oh. A soccer mom has decided to become... She likes to cover songs now. Yeah, it's Beyonce, right? This is Beyonce. She's covered Kelly Clarkson. That's her thing, is covering? No, no, Reba's been around forever. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But, you know, now Reba is like, she reminds me of everybody's mom. Yeah.
She had a show on for a while. I watched it and I liked it. I did. Me and three other people. One of my favorite voices to make fun of. Aaron Neville, I know I've been changed. Aaron has a thing. I love it though. Might have a giant mole with hair growing out of it. With more hair growing out of it than Mikey has on his head. He has a face on his mole. He might have a sword tattooed on his neck. That's okay. And then here's one of my coming out bands. LCD Sound System London Sessions. Oh, I thought you meant you liked it. I love it. I don't get it.
I don't either. That I pretended to be all excited about him. They were fantastic at Coachella. Oh, yeah. You didn't go see him. How did he know? I was there. I wasn't on mescaline, but I was there. See, my deal is that it's hard to sing along. There's no melody for it. Right. You got to, like, dance to that. That's the deal. If you like to dance, maybe you like the LCS. Yeah, but how do you even dance that? You, like, bounce. There she is. She's doing it. She's got it figured out. She's kind of hopping and kicking. Having a blast. You have to be drunk. You have to have a white plastic cup in your hand that says Miller Genuine Draft. And it's got to be 104 degrees. Maybe like a halter top on. You're covered in mud. I'm all in. Barefoot.
You want some DVDs? Yes, I do. Big day for kids today. Ramona and Beezus is out. I used to read those books when I was a little kid. Oh, yeah. Ramona and Beezus. Ramona Quimby. Yeah, the Quimby's. All right. And Charlie St. Cloud, Sienna. Oh, Sienna. I love you, St. Kevron. Zac Efron. He looks so hot in that movie. His little brother dies and then he ends up playing catch with him in the woods. It wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, but if you... You didn't even cry. It's because Zac Efron's in it. I thought I was going to cry. I didn't, but it's worth it to see Zac Efron. There must not be anything worse for a girl that really enjoys a good cry. Every girl enjoys a good cry. And so you're going to a movie and you know you're going to get a great cry and you don't. That's how I felt about The Notebook until the end. Oh God, I wept. I think everybody just prefaced me. They're like, oh, you're going to cry. You're going to cry. And I kept waiting for it. And I was like, cry, cry. And then I bawled at the end. Rolled my eyes. I didn't cry in the notebook. You have a cold, black heart. I have a realistic heart. No, it was cheesy. It was too. Cheese ball over the top. Like them to die at the same time. Over the top. It was great. Sierra! Okay, the movie's been out for 10 years. Give it away. This movie.
I was very disappointed, and I saw it in theaters, Grown Ups, with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, you know, Kevin James. It was terrible, absolutely terrible. Really? I saw it was playing on the plane, but I didn't have headphones. It looked pretty bad. You needed to miss that one. And then Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is out today as well with your favorite Michael Cera. I want to see it. Let's play Midi Madness. Let's do her. Call right now, 570-1949. And the idea behind Midi Madness is you're going to hear a little Casio. It's regular songs, but they're played through like a little Casio. So call right now, and if you can tell us what the song is, you'll want a prize. Hot or not? Not. Hot. Not. I knew Mike would say yes. Garrett? Not. What? Molly Ringwald. Molly Ringwald. Hot or not, Garrett? Not my type.
Really? I like brunettes. I was so upset with the cast here of the Mikey Show the other day because I was watching a promo for How I Met Your Mother and they showed Allison Hannigan. Love her. Yeah. And I go, those guys, they're crazy. She's hot. She's beautiful. She's cute. She's hot. She's drop dead gorgeous. What? She's a four. Dude. She's a four. She's a solid eight. Four. Divided by two, yes. I give her a seven and three quarters. That's so unfair. I'm trying to think of who a legitimate four is. She's a four. Molly Ringwald was a four back then. I'll give you that before I give you- Allison Hannigan is more attractive than a four. She's a five at best. I would say six and a half. You know who a four was? Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. That was a four. What? Judy Garland. Judy Garland. She's like a nine. If I saw Allison Hannigan at a bar, if I saw Allison Hannigan at a bar at 11, I'd be like, zero percent. If I saw her at two, I'd be like, all right. Not true at all. Absolutely true. True statement. Liar. I don't lie anymore. Our program director, our program director Garrett is here. Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. And he is going to.
Garrett, what's that city in Michigan? Did a lot of car stuff? Detroit. That's right. Come on, say it. Say it right. Say it right. Philly. Philly, Detroit, Seattle. Been there. That is so fantastic. I love you guys. That is so fantastic. Isolate that little clip right there, Jay. Lancaster. Lacrosse. Seattle. Minneapolis. Lacrosse. Yeah, imagine if... You had been known for, like, Dubuque. I've never worked in Iowa. At Des Moines. Des Moines. At least they're cool cities. Jacksonville. I think I sent an air check tape to a gig in Des Moines once. You did? Yeah. Would you have gone? Dude, come on, man. You do anything. When you're coming up, come on. It's true. Think about all the places you maybe sent tapes to. I do. I did. I sent some tapes. Think about all the places you and I sent tapes to. It's amazing. I scoured the country. How dare you. I know. I guess you got the golden ticket. I know. How dare you. You ever get the golden goose real good? It just drops in your lap. So Garrett is actually here to tell us about something, some developments. Yeah.
What are the developments? All right, so let's address Anniversary Bash really quick. Obviously, it's this Saturday night, 8th Anniversary Bash, and the first thing I'd like to get out there is Friday night at band practice, Mikey blew everybody away. Of course he did. Dude, seriously? You know that my voice was all, you know, I would go, hey! I would do the Bobby Brady thing. Listen, you're doing Surrender. We're doing Surrender by Cheap Trick. Mike's taking the lead vocal. You guys better get to Brad and practice because you've got to do your background parts and stuff. But I'm telling you, you are more Robin Zander these days than he is. You look just like Robin Zander. Yes, it's like looking in a mirror. Like looking in a mirror. I knew all it would take would be for you to get in front of the band. And, you know, we were all right. But, man, you were like shandling your inner rock star. It was unbelievable. I was a performer, man. I was so embarrassed that I couldn't face you guys. I couldn't. I was so self-conscious. I was so self-conscious of myself. By the third take, you were totally facing me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I did by the third take. And you were leading the band. And then we're going back. Jeremy is kind of co-band leader. And he's like, all right, let's go back. Let's go back to the chorus. And Mike's going, yeah, let's go back to the chorus. I was so scared. I was so scared. And, you know.
these guys are good like they're really good and so they started playing and i was like oh this is real like real yeah it's no joke and so they're all here and i i really i did this i turned like this my back because i was so self-conscious and i was singing with my back Got to lean in, baby. You got to open on up. You got to lean in. I was so self-conscious. We put a little reverb on the mic, man. He sounded like a rock star. It was killer. It's killer. Jump off the monitors, Mikey. Just jump off. Maybe climb a wall on the side. I'm so bummed. I'm going to miss it. So bummed. Dude, I'm telling you, if you're an M1, you got to come out on Saturday night. And then this will lead into the next thing. We are going to lower the ticket price. Starting today, we were running a special for the eight days for our eighth anniversary where ticket price was $20, right? Nice. And then ticket price was supposed to go back to full price today. We have decided to take the ticket price down to $21, and here's why. Unfortunately, our buddies and night marchers have had to cancel the gig due to a medical emergency. John Reese, who is obviously the frontman and lead guitarist for the band, has...
got something that is preventing him from being able to perform and play guitar. That's a huge part of it. So they've had to cancel the gig, and they're also canceling the gig they had in San Francisco after our gig. So what's going to happen is we're going to still carry on, obviously. Hold Steady is going to extend their set. Company Thieves is going to play a longer set. New Politics is going to play a longer set. We might play five minutes longer to kind of flesh out the evening, but we're still going on. But ticket price is now $21. If you go to the website, you can buy your tickets right there. If anybody has any questions, let's say you were particularly a Night Marchers fan and that was the only reason you were coming, you can call the number on the website and we'll try to work something out for you. Question. What time does the FM 94.9 band go on stage? I'm glad you asked that. The doors to 4th and B will open at 7 o'clock. And then we hit the stage at 8 o'clock. Probably at 8. Nice. When do I do my thing? Well, you know, I'm glad you asked that. You guys are coming on stage for the last song. The last song. How long is the FM 94.9?
We're doing about a five, six song set. So that's about a half hour, right? 20 minutes? 20, 25 minutes, half hour. Depends on if we jam a little bit. You'll have to wait that out. Sweat it out. We have 30 minutes allotted for our set. It depends on how it goes. You always try to build in a little extra time in case somebody gets on a guitar solo or you stage dive or something like that. Please stage dive. Please stage dive. But seriously, I mean, you know. If you are an M1, I want to see all the M1s come out in force to, number one, support the station band. But I think Mikey and everybody on the Mikey Show need to have the love and support of the M1s to come out and have a great... And it's going to be a great party. And I will say this. If you've never experienced the Hold Steady, and I'm a big fan, and I became a fan after seeing them live, they are, in my opinion, and a lot of critics, I mean, Rolling Stone Magazine spin. They are probably the best rock and roll band in America today touring. They are so much fun. They are incredibly tight live. And you will have an absolute blast on Saturday night. Saturday night. Saturday. Fourth and B. And, yeah, I want you to want me. Nice. This is the first song on our new album. Yeah. I've been listening to that nonstop. Nice. There you have.
I've been listening to Cheap Trick's Surrender over and over and over again. Have you learned it yet? Yes. You have? Are you kidding me? No, I heard at practice he had a piece of paper. I did, but I only did because, you know, I wanted... Just in case. Just in case. Yeah. He had the cadence and the rhythm and everything down. He had it perfect. It was unbelievable. He's good. My voice cracked. Who's taking video of this? I have to have it. Mike, it's okay if it cracks. Oh, yeah. It cracked. It happens. Happens to the best of them. You have to rock out when that happens. I told Garrett that by Saturday night, my voice won't crack. Okay. Lots of tea, honey. I'll communicate on the telephone like Celine Dion. I won't use my voice all day, and if anybody calls, I'll go, and I'll just do taps. Like Morse code. That might be easier. Yeah, I'll do taps so that people, you know, I'll say like Celine Dion, Tap onto the phone. Use my voice now. Morse code. I can't. Is she Chinese? I guess. Why is he giving me an accent? That's a great idea, Mike. Yeah. That'll be good. Hello, is this Mikey? Email. Oh, you can't make it? Oh, boy. CBK. Hi, Captain Buzzkill. I didn't know that Mike would think to FM 9490.
Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Mike works here and is part of the FM 94.9 band. You listen every morning. You listen every day, so you know he's been talking about it. I want to see them. It's Denny. You will see them. They will be there. Rock your face off. I just want to know what time I can be there to miss Mike. It just said around 8.20, 8.30 will be going on. And you know you'll be there to see Mike. Of course you will. I think it's irresponsible to have him on stage. It's not irresponsible. He compromises the integrity of the event. He does not. The guy loves music. I know. Well, Garrett's here. You can say something to him. Hey, dude, if you show up, I'll make sure that Jeremy flips you an FM 94.9 guitar pick. Oh, there you go, little guy. Why do we not return my phone call to Mr. Michaels? Because you never leave your number. I get my number every single time. Uh-oh, Gary, now you've made a bell. It's so unbelievable. I don't because I do. And I leave it for Mr. Rick R. Jackson. Don't say it with me. Don't say it with me. I'm going to say it by myself. Say it by yourself. Mr. Rick R. Jackson. Don't say it with me. Don't say it with me. Let me say it by myself. Okay. Mr. Rick R. Jackson.
Come on, you have our program director on the phone. Stop messing around. Mr. Michael. Talk to him. Yes. I don't know. Please fire him. Shut up, dude. This is our job. We'll kill you. Please fire him. Dude, it's a free country. You are able to lose your finger and change the station if you don't take it. I like the music, and I like Jagger and Christy in the morning. But I can't get Jagger and Christy on my radio. Try Coat Hanger. How do you listen to the station the rest of the day, then, if you're such a big fan? I get FM 94.9. It's the only reason I listen to the night. Oh, that's right. That's right. Yep. He likes the music. My bad. How do you know when to call in? How do I know when to call in? Because the only station I get, I have to listen.
That's right. He's tied up in his basement. Somebody forced you to call in. You could watch The View instead instead of listening to the radio in the morning. I'm sure he does. I'm sure he watches The View. He probably DVRs it so he can watch it for dinner. What did you say? What did you say, Chubbs? What? Oh, what? Now you're getting personal. That guy's trying to get our show fired. What do you want? Uh-oh. Give him a slap. Why does he have such a hard time hanging at the phone? I give him a slap. Chubbs. Are you still there? Yeah, we're here, Chubbs. What? You are so pathetic. I can't even believe you're so pathetic. They're not firing us. Damn. Ain't happening, baby. Ain't happening. Wow. Scary. He really got aggressive that time. He was not like us. Wow, man. Passive aggressive. Well, there it is. Hey, do we have a... I'll tell you what, we've got another one. Wait, wait, wait. Let's come back. We've got some more for you. You're going to want to hear this. You're going to want to hear this. Big news next.
