The show opened with Mikey discussing Bob Costas’ interview with Jerry Sandusky, then spent much of the hour analyzing Sandusky’s denials and the implications for Joe Paterno and Penn State. Later, the hosts debated breast augmentation, with L.O.B. saying she’d consider a $30,000 fat‑transfer procedure, while callers shared personal experiences. The program also featured a lively buzzword game, a food‑drive promotion for the San Diego Food Bank, and a spirited debate about whether male musicians are more talented than females.
What happened, in order
Costas Sandusky intro
Mikey opens the show by highlighting the Bob Costas interview with Jerry Sandusky as the day's sole major news story.
Shower horseplay discussion
The hosts debate whether showering and horsing around with a 10‑year‑old boy could ever be innocent, with Woodsy insisting it is unacceptable.
Asking mom permission
Mikey argues that if Sandusky’s actions were truly harmless he would have asked the mother for permission, which he did not.
What did you do wrong?
Sandusky is pressed to admit any wrongdoing, and he struggles to concede anything beyond vague horsing around.
Show us your cans food drive
Jay announces a Friday canned‑goods collection at Dave & Buster’s for the San Diego Food Bank, with prizes for the top donor.
Buzzword game begins
Jay launches a buzzword round where callers guess words like “school,” “jam,” and “beauty” based on clues, sparking lively on‑air banter.
Breast augmentation talk
L.O.B. reveals she would consider a $30,000 fat‑transfer breast augmentation if she had the money, prompting calls both supportive and critical.
Male vs female musicians debate
The crew argues over whether there are more talented male musicians than females, citing examples from rock, pop, and classical music.

Good morning. Welcome to the Mikey Show. You can call us 570-1949. You can also text us 949mikey at gmail.com. And I would like to say that there is plenty of news, but the truth is there's only one news story today. And that is the fact that Bob Costas was able to get an interview with Jerry Sandusky, the guy that is being accused. of the child molestation that worked for Penn State. How does it happen? Did you just shoot an email and just cross your fingers? I mean, you got to know people that know people. Oh, yeah. It's got to be against the advice of counsel, no? Wouldn't you think? Yeah, there's no way. There's no way. If he calls his lawyer, if Sandusky calls his lawyer and says, hey, Bob Costas wants to interview me, what do you think?
Yes, yes, absolutely. How about it? Don't say anything incriminating. I mean, how did that happen? But NBC is brilliant, and we'll tell you why in just a second. First, I want to tell you who everybody is. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 41 in case you're listening for the first time and don't know anything about The Mikey Show. I'm 41, and despite the way that my voice sounds, I'm 100% Mexican. 100% Mexican. If you can believe that. Good for you. That's right. Thank you very much. I'm black and I'm proud. No, I'm Mexican. There you go. Woodsy is not Mexican. He's our sports guy, but he is 36 years old. L.O.B., otherwise known as Lauren O'Brien, is our assistant producer. And Jay is our executive producer. He's 48. And Screening Phones is our girl, Nicole. The word of the day is dagger. You need to know the word of the day is dagger. I could say that at any time. I can weave it into a sentence. When I do, caller number nine, I'm going to give you tickets to the Holiday Hootenanny, and I'm also going to give you a pair of sunglasses from Spy Optics. Ooh. Bam. Big time. Very nice. Thank you. Okay. There is so much audio.
Let's dive in. Now, I'm going to say this too before we even begin. The content of this stuff is adult. Okay? And so, if you're listening right now and you feel like your kids won't understand it, that's fine. But if you do happen to have kids around, I'm letting you know right off the bat, this was from something called NBC Rock Center with Bob Costas. And it is very adult in nature, because Bob Costas, and that's what I was saying before I said, I'll tell you, is that NBC is very smart. When they found out that they were going to have an interview with a guy that is the biggest news story in the world right now, Jerry Sandusky, former defensive coordinator for the Penn State Nittany Lions, he's being accused of molesting eight boys over a period of 15 years. He even had a...
He even had a nonprofit organization to help underprivileged boys. And that's where he was getting them. Now, when they found out that they were going to be interviewing Jerry Sandusky, they got Costas. Why? Because Costas is Bob Costas is the best there is when it comes to an interview. Just I mean, absolutely hands down. And I wonder if Sandusky felt kind of safe with him because. He's a sports reporter, so he's been around for a while. Oh, he probably knows him. He probably has talked to him before. Yes. You know what? Because we were sitting here thinking, how did he get that? How did they get that? I bet Bob Costas has his number. Yeah, Jerry, it's Bob. Let's get this on the record. Yeah, they've probably talked before about other stuff. Oh, wow. So take a listen. Again, adult in nature. Mr. Sandusky, there's a 40-count indictment. The grand jury report contains specific detail. There are multiple accusers, multiple eyewitnesses to various aspects of the abuse. A reasonable person says where there's this much smoke, there must be plenty of fire. What do you say? I say that I am innocent of those charges. Innocent? Completely innocent and falsely accused in every aspect? Well...
say that, you know, I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids. I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their leg without intent of contact. But if you look at it that way, there are things that would be accurate. Are you denying that you had any inappropriate sexual contact? With any of these underage boys? Yes, I am. Never touched their genitals, never engaged in oral sex. Oh, he starts to really, he really starts to dig into this guy. Talks about Mike McQuarrie. We're going to play all this, okay? We're going to play all of it. Bob Costas does not hold back. What about Mike McQuarrie, the grad assistant who in 2002...
walked into the shower where he says in specific detail that you were forcibly raping a boy who appeared to be 10 or 11 years old, that his hands were up against the shower wall and he heard rhythmic slap, slap, slapping sounds, and he described that as a rape. That's false. What would be his motive to lie? Ask him that. What did happen in the shower the night that Mike McQuarrie happened upon you and the young boy? Okay, we were... showering and horsing around. And he actually turned all the showers on and was actually sliding across the floor. And we were, I recall possibly, like snapping a towel on horseplay. Okay. Now this is one of the parts that is so striking about all of this. I mean, we had a topic last week where we were saying,
As parents, at what age do you start going, I can't be naked in front of my kid? You know, we had a conversation about that. And we kind of collectively were like, well, once a kid starts to remember stuff, that's probably a good time to cover up. Woodsy was even stronger about it. Woodsy was like, you know, hey, listen, you grew up in a modest family, right, Woods? Yeah, very. And so you were even like, you kind of had even a stricter stance on it. Yeah. Here we are talking about a guy showering with a 10-year-old kid. Right. You know, like, it seems to me that even just saying that is a crime. I mean, is he out of his freaking mind? Like, what? What? We were just snapping towels in the locker room. Yeah, we were sliding on our bellies. Hey, listen. Listen, that story doesn't make sense.
If it's not a kid and it's an adult, it doesn't make sense. Why are you, you know, two guys don't horseplay in the shower at Penn State. They take showers in the shower. Right. They take showers. There's no reason that kids should be on that campus in that shower ever. No. For any reason. The fact that that's his excuse and explanation. If it was two high school kids, I could see it. Sliding around, playing in the shower? I guess. I mean, I guess, but you sure don't do that. We did the exact same thing. Not you and your coach, though. Not me and my coach, just other players. Man, there's more. In 1998, a mother confronts you about taking a shower with her son and inappropriately touching him. Two detectives eavesdrop on our conversations with you, and you admit that maybe... Again, I need to stress. you're going to hear some real strong stuff. Your private parts touched her son. What happened there? Exactly recall what was said there in terms of what I did say was that I felt that way, then I was wrong. During one of those conversations, you said, I understand, I was wrong.
I wish I could get forgiveness, speaking now with the mother. I know I won't get it from you. I wish I were dead. A guy falsely accused or a guy whose actions have been misinterpreted doesn't respond that way, does he? To my recollection that I wish I were dead, I was hopeful to reconcile things. Wow. I was hopeful we could reconcile things. That's freaking creepy. Like after the mother called me and accused me of us touching genitals, you know, I really apologized. I wanted forgiveness and I hoped we could reconcile. That is a sick, that's a sick bastard. If you didn't do anything wrong, why are you wanting forgiveness? Oh, right. And why would you want to reconcile with somebody that accused you of being a pedophile? Right. That guy's a sick, sick dude. A hundred. Now, and here's the other deal.
If you didn't do anything wrong, Sandusky, this is what not doing anything wrong looks like. It means that whatever you do, you can tell a parent. If you can't say to a parent, hey, we're leaving right now. I'm leaving with your kid. Is it cool if I smoke some dope with him? The mom is going to say, no, it is not. Hey, I'm leaving with your kid right now. Is it cool if we go to Denny's and get a hamburger? No problem. Hey, I'm leaving with your kid. Is it cool after we do our workout if we shower together and I'm naked and he's naked and we horseplay? No, that's not okay. Well, why wouldn't you ask mom if that's okay, Sandusky? If there was nothing wrong with it, as you say, if there was nothing wrong with it, then why couldn't you say it? Maybe.
Because it was a criminal action. Listen to this. This is the most compelling part of the entire interview. This was the most compelling part. Are you a pedophile? No. Are you sexually attracted to young boys, to underage boys? To underage boys. Sexually attracted. You know, I enjoy young people. I love to be around them. I'm not sexually attracted to young people. That is one of the most chilling pieces of audio I've ever heard. Ever. Charles Manson isn't as scary as that guy. And who wouldn't come out? No. No. No. Absolutely not. How do you hesitate? Mikey, are you attracted to young boys? No. Thank you very much. No. Absolutely not. No. I wouldn't kick it around a little bit. Yeah, well.
Are you a pedophile? No. Are you sexually attracted to young boys, to underage boys? Am I sexually attracted to underage boys? Let me think about that one. Sexually attracted? No, not sexually attracted. Attracted? I mean, I think they're cute. What does that mean? Yeah, what does that mean? What does it mean when he goes sexually attracted, question mark? I enjoy young people. I love to be around them. On the basis of the interview, on the basis of the interview, I believe he should be incarcerated. Oh, yeah. Immediately taken out of, you know, he's harmful. Dude, I love to be around them. After all this, after all this has come to light, you still have the balls to say, I love to be around young people and young kids. Some more. Oh, my God.
How would you define the part you played? What are you willing to concede that you've done that was wrong and you wish you had not done it? That's it? Oh, yeah. That is a deviant mind, my friend. Absolutely. Millions of Americans who didn't know Jerry Sandusky's name until a week ago now regard you not only as a criminal. But I say this, I think, in a considered way, but as some sort of monster. How do you respond to them? What I can say or what I could say that would make anybody feel any different now, I would just say that if somehow people could hang on until my attorney has a chance to fight for my innocence. All I could ask right now, obviously...
It's a huge challenge. You know, that has got to be the hardest job in the world. Jerry Sandusky's a defense attorney. Right. That is the hardest job in America. How do you do? I mean, first of all, how do you live with yourself doing it? How do you sit in a room with the guy? And listen, I have said this from the very beginning. I believe everybody deserves a trial. I do. I believe everybody deserves a trial. I believe that in this country, you're innocent until proven guilty. But I'm a human being and I have, you know, blood rushing through my veins just like everybody else that's listening to this. I've been open on the air about how I was abused as a kid. This stuff is, it hurts to hear. Well, you've got ears. You know, you've got ears. You're hearing Jerry Sandusky tell you how much he enjoys young people.
And what is, I mean, listen, if you are innocent, if it was me and I'm innocent, the first thing I say is, first of all, Bob, thank you for this opportunity. And I want to talk to anybody that'll hear me. Right. And when he asked that question, the answer's no. Yeah. No. If you're innocent, the answer's no. You don't repeat the question, then kick it around for a second, then go, well. It's like a liar's tactic. Absolutely. Absolutely. I think we read that. We did. We did. Repeating the question. We just read this article last week that said, these are the signs when somebody's lying, they repeat the question. Too many details. My goodness. Yeah. He talked about, they asked him about Joe Paterno. To your knowledge, did Joe Paterno have any information regarding objectionable activities on your part prior to that report in 2002? I can't really answer that question.
My answer would be no. Did Joe Paterno at any time ever speak to you directly about your behavior? No. Well, did Joe Paterno see it? And that's the part that hurts my heart for Paterno. Plus the fact that Paterno has said, now that this has come to light, this is the biggest regret of my life. I wish I'd done more. Now, this is just my opinion. But to me, that's a good heart. somebody that isn't trying to brush it under the rug. That's just me. Woods thinks he is, but for me, somebody that he did call the athletic director over to the house and said, hey, here's what this guy is doing. Here's what I heard this guy is doing. I didn't see it for myself, but here's what I heard. And if I felt that I did something about it, and then later this all comes to light, I too would be like, oh my gosh, I wish I did more. If I'm the type of person that does brush it under the rug, I think what I do is I try to defend it and I'm like, hey, look what I did. I did this. But, you know, it's for each individual to decide what you think about Joe Paterno in it. For me, the whole time it's been, boy, we are victimizing the wrong person. This guy. This guy. And this is what sucks, too, because today we're reading.
I'm going to get right back to that audio. But today we're reading about the charity chief has resigned from the nonprofit organization Second Mile. Now, imagine you are a man or a woman who is not a pedophile, who is just a good hearted person that hears about this charity and you become involved with it because you want to help kids only to find out that this guy is a creep. Now, every name associated with it is under a microscope. Assuming he's guilty, this guy has single-handedly ruined so many lives. Yes. Yes. I mean, the wreckage is just, it's like a wrecking ball. And that's the thing. It's like all of these people are being scrutinized and looked at. I mean, the people that are at the top, the CEO that had to resign from second mile, Jack Rakoyevich. That guy.
is now being, what did you know? Did you know anything? Did you cover something up? And you're like, hey, what? Everybody, I'm sure right now, that has anything to do with it, imagine what it's like to be his son. He's got a son that works for a professional football team. Jerry Sandusky. Yeah, he does. Joe Sandusky, I think is his name. He's got kids. Six kids. Yes. I read that all of these kids are putting their Facebook's out. Oh, yeah. They're done. It's just awful. And their kids didn't do anything wrong. Right. Never. No. He never asked you about what you might have done. He never asked you if you needed help, if you needed counseling. No. Is it me or does Sandusky have a tone that is indicting Joe Paterno? No. No. No. I don't know. I mean, I know you're pro Joe Paterno. I know I feel the other way. And I feel that, you know, I think in Joe's mind, Penn State football was more important than anything else that went down. And I really honestly believe that. And the fact that Sandusky walked around that campus for eight years after this thing went down is pretty much proof enough. Woodsy, but if Penn State football is more important, why does he call the athletic director to his home and report it? If it's more important. Why does he let Jerry Sandusky walk around that campus for 10 years? Please don't answer the question with a question. I need to know.
Penn State football is the numero uno priority. Because he did. He did. Wait a minute. He did what he thought he had to do. If Penn State football is more important than anything else, why does he call the athletic director over and tell him what he knows? Because it's protocol. Yeah, he's bringing him in the loop. He's like, hey, look. He's washing his hands of it. We got something going on here that I want to let you know about. Imagine if he didn't tell us this. We're now turning something good and noble. Into something bad. Noble. Noble. Wow. Wow. Wow. Your definition of nobility is a lot different than my definition of nobility. If somebody's about to get hit by a car, is it a noble thing to push him out of the way? Absolutely. He didn't even witness this. He's doing the right thing. Okay, let's forget the word noble. He's doing the right thing. Okay, he's doing protocol. Okay, but isn't protocol also the right thing? Protocol, we've been told, is to call the police. Dude, I don't know that. As an educator, you do know that. I've talked to a couple principals. As the Don of Penn State University for 61 years. He didn't see it. He had an eyewitness there that was on his staff. And he turned him into his boss. And then he saw the guy every day for nine years after, man. Again, if this is a guy sweeping things under the rug, I think that if your mindset is, Penn State football is the main thing that's important to me.
All I care about is Penn State football, and I will not let anything get in the way of Penn State football. What I can easily say is, I didn't see it for myself. I'm not calling no athletic director. I ain't calling the cops. I didn't see anything. If it came out that Joe Paterno was told that by McQuarrie and he didn't report it, he's in bigger trouble than he is now already. Right. He's in bigger trouble. But my thought is, hey, he did. Something. And I'll tell you another thing, my friend, is that he knew something was going on with this guy. This guy was the best defensive coordinator in the country. And all of a sudden, he up and Joe Paterno up and decides, you know what? I told you for years, you're going to be my number two. Now you're not. Here's the deal, Woodsy. The timing is creepy. Let's say that we got somebody on the show named John Doe. Okay, John Doe. John Doe works on the show. I'll finish the thought right after this. You got something worth adding to the monkey show? Text him. 949mikey at gmail.com or call Mikey now, 570-1949. You'll get tickets to the Hootenanny and also a pair of sunglasses from Spy Optics. Biggest story, biggest story today is the fact that Jerry Sandusky,
Broke his silence and talked to Bob Costas in what is easily the most sensational and, I think, indicting interview for him. I mean, he... It's not even close. Oh, my goodness. You don't even get a shred. Does anybody feel a shred in their body of, well, son of a gun, maybe this guy is... I mean, listen, as you're listening to it, do you go, While I do have reasonable doubt, no. It's so creepy. It's so creepy and damning. You want to believe the best about most people. Right. And then you hear the tone of his voice and it's just creep. Yeah. Okay. So, and that's, I do want to believe the best about Joe Paterno. And I don't know anything. I'm not into college football. I don't know anything about college football.
But here's my thought. Okay, so right before we went to break, I was about to make this point. Okay, so let's say there's somebody on our show, and their name is John Doe. And I meet John Doe, I put him on the show, and I think John Doe's a cool dude, and he's very talented, and he's great. And somebody comes to me and says, hey, I hear blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. The first person that comes to me and says that, first of all, I don't know if that's true, and it's a heavy thing that I'm hearing. So what I'm not going to do is be like, he's fired. I might, the very first time I hear it, now, I might go to a boss. So, Woodsy says, here was a guy that was incredibly great, probably the best at his job, and yet he was let go. Okay? My thought is, Paterno started to hear these things, and maybe he can't
prove it but he doesn't want this guy around right because he's a creep right well he didn't want him around so much that he gave him emeritus status an office and keys to the locker room well bro i thought he fired him no he was it was early retirement that was retirement okay fine but i don't think that was sandusky's idea it sounds oh no it was probably hey you're not working here anymore if you want you need to do the uh The early retirement bit. Right. Right. Now, if I hear something about John Doe and I can somehow get him out of it, I can't prove it. But what I do know is, I think you're a creep and I want you out of here. Right. It's not your job to prove it. Right. It is not your job. It's not your job to prove it. It wasn't Joe Pa's job to prove it either. Okay. Your job is to report it to the authorities so they can... Investigate. And protect kids. There's a difference between, hey, there's a new guy on the show, and man, I heard some bad things about him. Hey, there's a new guy on the show. Let's say he's not a new guy. He's an old guy. There's a guy on the show. At some point, Paterno heard whispers. Right. At some point, he heard whispers, because he never saw it for himself. As far as we know, he's never seen him engaging in any activities that are questionable. And so...
With that being said, my belief is that what he got was whispers. I don't know about this guy, man. Besides the fact that McQuarrie came to his house. Wait, wait, wait. Before that. Back in the 90s. Yes, before that. Because what we know is that this guy was a defensive coordinator for Joe Paterno, and then Joe Paterno got rid of him. Now, if I'm looking at that, what I'm hearing and I'm seeing is, you're the best at your job. But Penn State football is more important to me. I'm going to do everything I can to keep you because you're the best at your job. You've got to stay here. That's not what happened. Here's what it looks more like to me. What it looks more like to me is I can't prove it, but there's been too many people saying stuff about you. You're out of here. I can't prove it, but you're done. Okay, and then McQuarrie comes to him a few years later and says, here's what I saw. Now, I want you all to consider what is the biggest thing happening in your life today. What's the biggest worry on your mind? What's the biggest thing on your mind? What's taking up the real estate in your mind? If I'm Joe Paterno, I'm guessing that what takes up the real estate in my mind is Penn State football and winning. And he's focusing on his job. And then all of a sudden, McQuarrie comes.
And he puts a sledgehammer into that mind and goes, here's what I saw. And so Paterno's reaction to that is the very next day to have the athletic director come to his home where he says, I didn't see it, but here's what was reported to me. And I'm filling in some blanks since we all are, since we're all filling in blanks. Some people are filling in blanks saying he's a creep, more is going to come out, blah, blah, blah. Okay, here's my fill in the blanks. Maybe Paterno says to the athletic director, That's why I fired this guy a long time ago. I've been hearing about this creep. And this is what I hear that he did last night. Now, what people are saying is that Joe Pa should have then, as he's going about his life, seen him walking around. He still doesn't have proof. He still thinks he's a creep. But what he should have done is he should have called the police. Now, Jay says.
It's standard. When you hear something, you're supposed to call the police. Okay. I will tell you this. We have some protocol here at the radio station that I am at times surprised to find out. Oh, you're supposed to do it that way? I didn't know. Like, oh, I didn't know I was supposed to turn him into. I turned him in. That's like saying if somebody got raped, you wouldn't know to call the police. No, bro. No, I didn't see it. I didn't see it. You have somebody that you trust. On your staff. On your staff. Tell you. Not on your, well. He's on his staff. The guy was on his staff. McQuarrie. And I, you know, hey, listen, man. This is the deal. And I fire you. I mean, I fire you if you're late to work. You know, if you're late to work, that's a fireable offense. If you're abusing somebody, it's not a firing offense. It is a police report and you go down. So let me ask you this. If you don't, if you don't, if you call your boss.
Right. And you have your boss come over. You didn't see it for yourself. OK. And it wasn't. Hey, I walked into the building and I heard screams and I went in there and I saw a woman being raped or a child being raped. What he saw was, well, he did see a child being raped because it is certainly called statutory rape. But what I don't believe it, what I believe is, and I say this in finger quotes. was that this kid, for whatever reasons, was manipulated by this man to do this. Would we agree? The child? This child was manipulated by this guy. I don't know. Or do you believe this? Do you believe that against his will, he forced this physical action upon this kid, and the kid was screaming,
No, don't. Stop. I don't know. I don't know if he was screaming. I don't either. I don't think he was. I don't either. I don't either. Just like when they have reported oral sex. Right. I don't believe that it was forced. That he was forcing. I believe that these kids were. They were manipulated. By the way, they were manipulated. Like I was when I was a kid. I can't tell if you're dug in on Paterno or if you really feel bad for the guy. Dude, what I really believe about Paterno is that this guy did something. He did something. Here's what I don't believe about Paterno. Here's what I do not believe. I do not believe that he cares more about football than kids. And the reason I say that is if that were true, something else would have to be evident. And that is... A systematic covering up of it. But what I see is a guy that goes, I didn't see it for myself, but you're fired. And you're fired when you're at the top of your game. You're fired. A systematic cover up is exactly what's happening in this case. The president, gone. The AD, gone. Paterno skates?
Everybody else around him is falling. He's the one guy on that campus that didn't know anything. You know who I say is the guy that needs to go or the people that need to go is those creeps at the top. They did. They're gone. Yes. Paterno skates. So that's what's funny. Dude. Falling, falling, falling, falling, falling. There's Joe Pa. King of Happy Valley is shining clean. He's the only one. You know? No, no. They finally let him go. But you're telling me he's the only one. No, because the other person that's in question is Mike McQuarrie. Right. And he's on leave. And everybody hates him. Yes. Now, if there is a case for somebody that really did something egregious and behaved in a way that could potentially be cowardly, it's a person that sees it with their own eyes. Right. And does not take action. Absolutely. Okay? Absolutely. Sees it with her own eyes and doesn't take action. What Paterno has always had, and I believe he believed that this guy, but there is a difference, and I'm sort of working it out in my own brain. You know, because I'm like, I sure do think there's a lot being made about Paterno, and I sure do think that Paterno did something. He did something. He fired this guy. He fired this guy. Couldn't prove it. Fired him.
Tough as game. That's an assumption. That's an assumption. You're assuming that that's exactly what happened. We don't know what happened. We don't know what happened. So here's what we do know, then. We know that I am assuming something that's giving a human being a benefit of the doubt, and you are assuming something that makes him bad. What I'm asking is, like, I can't tell if you're dug in, or do you really believe it? Because you're one of the... Major minority. I know that. I mean, they took his name off the Big Ten trophy. And I think that's awful. They don't do that willy-nilly. If a guy is a shining star... Yeah, you know what it is? It's public opinion. The public opinion right now is, oh, Joe Paterno, you didn't go far enough. He didn't go far enough. I mean, he obviously didn't. There were more instances after... He knew something. If there's enough evidence to fire a guy, there's enough evidence to go to the police. Hey, I'll bet he didn't fire him. That's what I'm saying. He was. He did. He retired. Well, he retired. Right. Listen, you think Joe Pa couldn't have kept that guy on? Maybe not. If he was the king of Happy Valley. But not with sex abuse stuff going on. Yeah, but there's nothing proven. Right. That's what I'm saying. But the whispers. I think he wanted him out. I think he said this. He said, hey, look, you're out.
You're out. And this could be a lot worse for you, but this is your punishment. Except when you want to come on campus and lift weights with little kids. Have at it. And do you think that Jerry Sandusky sat there and said, you're right, I rape kids. My guess is he did what he's been saying. He probably said... I didn't do anything. I didn't do anything. The bottom line is that guy, Jerry Sidnuski, is creep number one. Yep. But it starts at the top of Penn State and it filters out and you've got a clean house. I think what Mike's doing right now is admitting what a lot of us won't admit to ourselves. That if we were in that situation, there's a lot. There's stuff that I've heard that. Now, it hasn't involved little kids, but it's involved some shady stuff involving coworkers, people I know, excuse me, closely, close friends. And you put yourself in a situation where you're like, ah, I don't. There's one side of me that's pulling to blow the whistle and say something. And then there's a side of me that's like, is it my place? What's the protocol? I don't know. And I say that even in that situation, the guy went to his boss. Right.
And he did something, and it's really easy in hindsight and with rose-colored glasses for us all to look and go, I would have gone to the police. Of course I would. You know why? Because I'm moral and I care about kids, unlike you, Joe Paterno, who is okay with child rape. No, see, the difference is you're defending Joe Paterno and saying he did nothing wrong. He did what he was supposed to do. We're saying he didn't, and I'm not vilifying him, but he didn't do what he was supposed to do. He's not a noble guy. I don't know if it's noble, but I don't know if he did anything particularly wrong. Ask victims three through eight how noble Joe Paterno is. Don't ask me, Woods. Don't ask Jay or Ella B. Ask those victims. Let me tell you, as a victim myself, and I said this before, I wish I had a Joe Paterno in my life. To do something. To do something. I get it. To go to his boss. To say something about it. But they didn't, and like we said, and I agree. You know, I actually would like to ask the victims themselves, I'd like to say, how much of this blame do you put on Joe Paterno? I heard from one of their moms. I know the moms. Right. Okay, the moms probably say they want everyone slaughtered. Yeah. If they're a mom, from the top all the way down, everybody's slaughtered, okay? Guillotine for everybody. But I'm talking about if it were me, and I am a victim of this myself when I was a kid.
I would say, you know who the monster is? Jerry Sandusky. And by the way, Mr. Paterno, thank you for going to your bosses and telling them. And I'm sorry that right now you're the one that's being made to be a victim because you actually did something about it, including getting rid of him, even though you didn't know for yourself. I think there's a lot that's going to unfold. That's what I think. That will show more about who did what, who was involved, and who knew what. Let's see. M1 Music Mang from Scripps Ranch. Are you there? Yeah, how's it going, guys? How's it going? Thanks, Bird. Pretty good. Hey, just wanted to call in and give my love to you guys. You guys make my morning every single day. Mikey, you know, I have a lot in common with each of you. I had a 14-year drug addiction that my Lord and Savior delivered me from. LOB, I'm a former deadhead. I grew up in Texas, too. I went to school in Austin, San Antonio area, and I can't wait to eat. I can't tell you how many times I'm listening, and I'm like, in my mind, I'm thinking, well, that wouldn't happen in Texas. Texas Justice. Sure enough, you chip in with that. Yeah, I don't have a lot in common with you, brother, but I love you anyway. He's actually from Texas. Yeah, he is actually right. There you go. I wanted to say, Mikey, I was born in San Diego in 81, and in 89, I moved to Arlington, Texas.
And as I'm getting schooled in the art of rock and roll as a young teenager, I'm listening to this station, 97.1 The Eagle, right? And I'm listening. I'm not really paying attention. Hey, bro, bro, bro. Hang on just a second. Sure. I love you. We're talking about this Paterno thing right now. Right. And I will do this. You know, I'll have this conversation with you, but we have to do it another time because right now the deal is Joe Paterno. I hear you. Yeah, that's kind of our, that's what we're engrossed in right now. Got to stay on track. So we got to stay on track. I hear you. I hear you. You're welcome to call back. All right, cool. All right, dude. Thank you. Love you, buddy. M1 Vince from San Diego. Okay. Good. I was going to say this is not what I wanted to hear in the morning. I was looking forward to some good humor banter and all that stuff. You know, bro, I'm glad you said that. I guess we can just, you know, we can move on. It's the biggest thing on my mind because it's everywhere. I mean, dude, this guy gave an interview last night. That's huge. I just came on. He asked that first question. I was gone. But listen to my point so I don't hold you up. When you're defending Joe Paterno and you say he did something, well, let's see, how can you put this? You witness something. You witness a crime, you know, say in a back alley just building the scene. It's different.
It's different. I understand because he didn't witness it. And it's not just different because of that. OK, the reason that it's different is because a rape that occurs in a back alley involves screams. It involves it's both a crime and it's both rape. And I understand that. But let me tell you, and I can speak on it because this was some it happened to me. OK, it happened to me. And there's not a lot of guys willing to stand up and say it happened to me. It happened to me. And what I'm going to tell you is. is that if somebody had walked in and seen that, they wouldn't have heard screams of help me, help me. It would have appeared to be something that was consensual, even though I was a little boy. Okay? And the reason is because a creep manipulated me. A creep manipulated me. And that guy manipulated that kid. It's very different.
than walking into a building and you hear screams and there is a woman being raped. That is a different thing. And I just think, like LLB said, there is a lot of rose-colored glasses. And until you're in the situation, I'll tell you how I would have said, this is what would have made me upset about Paterno, is if he had heard a lot of whispers and said, you know what, this guy is the best defensive coordinator around. And even though I'm hearing whispers, I can't let him go. And then, in addition to that, somebody comes to Joe Paterno and says, here's what I witnessed. And Joe says, I didn't see it, so I'm letting it go. If that had happened, then I would say Joe Paterno is a scoundrel. But I don't believe that. I don't believe he is a scoundrel. And there's a lot of people that know him that I've listened to say that this is a guy of good moral standing. And a good guy. And I want to give him the benefit of the doubt because I believe that he took some steps in light of the fact that he hadn't seen anything himself. He took some step. He took some step. No, he got rid of the guy too. No, we don't know that, dude. Why do you want to assume that, man? You can't assume that that's why he got rid of that guy. I thought you said he's the king of Happy Valley. He is. So he couldn't have kept him?
Joe could do whatever he wanted to do, but you can't sit there and say, you know what? He fired him because of this. Sandusky was at the top of his game. Yeah, he won two national titles. So why would a guy that only cares about Penn State football allow that? The legacy of Penn State football. The whole package. That's what I'm talking about. The legacy. Not next year's team, dude. So why would he do that? Why would he do what? Why would he allow Sandusky to go? Dude. Maybe because he thought he was a creep. No, allow him to go. Exactly. But you can't say that Joe walked in and goes, Joe can't fire him. I don't have anything on him. But I'll tell you what I do have. I got too many people talking. I got too many people peeping up about you. But you can't give Joe Paterno credit for getting rid of Sandusky for sex charges before that. You can't. You don't know. No. You can't be like, he's so morally good. Look, he fired the guy. You can't. We don't know that. That's an unfair assumption. Give me yours. What? Why do you think Jerry Sandusky went? I don't know. I honestly don't know. He's been there a long time, but the timing is odd. You don't think it had anything to do with this kind of stuff, do you? Yeah, but also, Mike, Jerry Sandusky having an office in that building is freaking creepy to me. And the fact that he's working out there two weeks ago is creepy. Athletic director. Gone. Yeah, and when I hear that he had it. President, gone. Yeah.
When I hear that he had an office there, you don't think Joe Paul is more powerful than the athletic director at Penn State University? No. You don't know much about college football, Matt, because that's a true story. Okay. 46 years as a head coach, 61 years at the university. What do you think should be done? You guys have been there longer than freaking oak trees there. If you don't report a crime that you didn't see, is that a crime? If you don't report a crime that you didn't see? Yeah, but somebody told you. No. That's not a crime? It's not a crime. Like I said, I don't think the guy should go to jail. But I wouldn't put the guy up on a pedestal and say that he needs to keep his name on the Big Ten trophy because he doesn't. He's culpable for some of this. His name should be on the trophy. I think so, too. Nope. We should. I mean, let's not build it. Well, actually, it's too late. We already have a statue of Joe Paterno at Penn State University. Take it down? Probably. Probably. It's a very, very sad story. It's a sad, sad deal. But being an old guy that maybe didn't know any better, you're not off the hook in my book when there's kids involved. Yeah, you're not off the hook. But there's still so much that needs to be revealed. Well, he's lawyered up, and we may never know. He's got a criminal defense attorney. The guy that defended George Bush in the Iran-Contra. I mean, this is a big, heavy defense guy that he got. Well, he doesn't want to take the fall. Exactly. And I don't think he should. That guy should take the fall. Yeah. Sandusky.
Yeah, but it's just, it's a terrible, it's a lose-lose. Hey, Vince, are you still there, though? Yeah, I'm still here. I was trying to get in on the convo. Yeah, no, no, no, I had to pot you down there. Hey, let me ask you. Yeah, yeah. If it was the Vince show. Okay. And you came on this morning, would you avoid this? If it was the Vince show. You can't avoid it. It's a hot topic. Okay, because you had me, and I was like, man, maybe. There's no way you can't talk about it. Maybe we just come on this morning and we're like, hey, let's tell some jokes, you know? I listen to a lot of public radio, so I listen to you guys not to feel like a bad guy. We get that a lot. Yeah. We get that a lot. Yeah. I'd rather hear Tom Tom or something. But we got to talk about it. Like, it's too big. Just one last thing, because I have to go into work. It goes to this point.
Regardless of witnessing or anything like that, I think Joe Paterno should have reported to the cops, and then an investigation occurred, and then if anything would have happened after that, that's where it should have went directly. He didn't go directly to the proper authorities. All right, man. I appreciate it, and I do, man. I respect your opinion. It's an opinion of most. We'll be back. By the way, we will move on to some encouraging stuff. Don't forget, word of the day is dagger. I'll tell you more in a minute. Yeah, you remember what happened in Norway a few months back that 77 people back in July were killed in a shooting attack. Biggest one that had ever happened in Norway. The judge has said to the killer, no, you may not address the survivor's or the victim's relatives, which I think is a good move on that judge's part. Woods, what's going on in sports?
I'm going to tell you about Monday Night Football last night, but first I wanted to tell you that sports is brought to us by U31, which is the best bar in North Park. Delicious burgers. Head there Saturday and Sunday for football. Last night, Mike, I mean, is there anybody better than Aaron freaking Rogers right now? Or that team. Or that team. I mean, they are 9-0. They dismantled the Vikings last night, 45-7. He spread the ball to 10 different receivers. He was 23-30 for 250 and four touchdowns. Oh, my gosh. I don't know. They are filthy. The Green Bay Packers, man, are tough. Dude, you know what's a trip is think about the NFC right now. Right. You've got San Francisco. Yep, 8-1. You've got the Saints, who are always the Saints. Always a threat. Yes. And depending on whether or not they get their mojo back, you got Detroit. Yeah. And so the NFC during the playoffs? could end up being one of the most fun things to watch. It's going to be a battlefield. Yeah. Also, bad day for several starting quarterbacks in the NFL. Michael Vicks has two broken ribs. He may not play this week against the Giants. You said it, Woods. Yeah, he keeps running that hard, man. He's going to get hurt. And he needs some protection. Yes, they've got to protect him. My fantasy quarterback is out for the year, Matt Schaub. He is done.
Oh, hell. Yeah. I was on a real good roll. Well, luckily for me, Matt Leiner, who hasn't thrown a pass since 2009, will be taking his place. And then Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Castle has a serious right hand injury that can end his season as well. Oh, wow. Bad day for quarterbacks. I almost cried. Let's see. Okay. So we do have some happy stuff. It's not that it's, you know, it's news. We're just telling you about the news. This Friday, we are raising some food together for the hungry here in San Diego. Oh, yeah. For the San Diego Food Bank. Show us your cans. Yes. Jay came up with an idea that I couldn't say no to. Show us your cans. Now, we want people to bring canned food items down to Dave and Buster's on Friday.
Everybody that brings something is going to get a $10 power card. Yeah. And all the food that gets donated is going to the San Diego Food Bank. Now listen to this. The person that donates the most food, the person that donates the most food, the most cans, and we're going to have an industrial size scale, is going to win four tickets, signed memorabilia, and a limo ride to the FM 94.9. Hootnanny. December 3rd. By the way, limo provided by FestQuest. It's FestQuest.com. Now listen to this. You know Randall down at Dave & Buster's? Very well. Guy that runs the place? My boy. He says he wants to get in on this. He says that he will throw this in for the person that brings the most canned food items. A $500 party. Wow.
at Dave & Buster's. Solid! Yeah! Fun. So you get to have a throw-up party at Dave & Buster's. You've seen it. When Woods and Jay were on Wipeout, we did our viewing party there. They've got those rooms where you can throw a party. Oh, it's amazing. And they're going to do a $500 for the person. So that's what the person's going to get. Four tickets, signed memorabilia, limo ride from Fast Quest to the Hootenanny, and a $500 party. At Dave and Buster's. All you got to do is bring the most cans. Show us your cans. Yeah, we want to see them. Big or small. You want to make people laugh. Maybe you play one of those promos that Jay did if people missed them. I don't think they're on there. Oh, boy, Jay. USOB. They're not up to date. I can make new ones. Maybe not. Those are so good. Let's see. It's like a dagger through your heart. Yeah, and the funny thing is I just went out and asked him. And I said, no. No, I said, did you make new ones? He goes, nuh-uh. I said, oh, okay, good. The old ones are still there. They're a feast. I took them down, Woods. God. Maybe if you didn't bring it up on the air, Woods. Yeah, shoot, man. How many times have we talked about that? As long as I say it in J-voice, it's all right. Exactly. Tornadic. Hey, listen, Woods. Just try to make people laugh. Hey, listen. Try to be dynamic.
Why you bring things up on the air? I mean, Mikey's done told you. You ever just say stuff? You're Mikey. No. I'm Jay right now. You're Jay right now. I'm Jay. Mikey's done told you. Don't just bring things up on the air. You can't just throw things out. That SOB leaves clips on there for two years, and those are the ones he takes on. Maybe ALAB can give you a copy of the schedule so you know what's coming up ahead of time. Gosh darn. Oh, wait. Leach already does. I copy you every night. Gosh darn it. I hate you all. Man. Gosh, Jay, aggressive. Yeah, Jay, why are you so mean to Woods? Woods is just trying to be dynamic. Trying to be dynamic. I know, but the guy's a tornado. I didn't even do that. Running around, yelling things out, pointing hand signals. Hey, man, look, I'm just trying to be dynamic. Come on, man. Telling me to slide into first? What is that? Poor Woods. Don't chase me, bro.
Do not tase me. 570-1949 is our number. Let me come over and I'll give you a massage like I did yesterday. Yeah. That's fun. Gave you a shoulder massage. Sure did. I'll come over. I'll spoon you. Yeah. I'll make it real nice. Yep. I don't mind a spooner. You spoon, Jay? What do you mean? What's he laughing about? Yeah. He's on Facebook. No, I'm not. Yes, you are. I swear I'm not. I'm not a spooner, but I like to be spooned. Isolate. Let's all just take a moment. Let's all just take a moment to allow that. Like syrup to fall over you like pancakes. That's like the crying game or something. That is so weird. Just picture him like... Little Kim. Tiny little Kim behind her. Don't let her fool you. She'll throw a leg up and an arm over her. Boy George just called and said, that was really quite odd. I can't believe it. Jay likes to be spooned. I like to be spooned by a tiny woman. A tiny little woman? I mean, shouldn't you spoon her? Doesn't make more sense if you would spoon her. I mean, like, the whole point of a spoon.
is that the bigger part of the spoon can fit a little one. It's like a big dipper and a little dipper. It's one that's on the outside and one's on the inside. The bigger one's on the outside. Right. Always. It makes sense, you creep. Mike, you'd understand this. I crush her. So it's better if she can spoon me and it's like I can support her. Maybe he doesn't know what spooning is. Yeah, I don't think you know. I can show you. I don't think you know. It's like when your legs and everything fit in together, you know? Isolate. No, Jay. From the back. No. Here. I'll make you a drawing. No. You lay on your side, bro. Oh, God. Like this. You lay on your side. Like that, right? You're not on top of the person. Here, look. That's not spooning. Here's the man. Here's the woman. What you're thinking of is planking. No. You're thinking of, like, tantra sex. Yes. No, no. You're thinking of the Kama Sutra. You have your arm and your body weight still on them. No. No, you actually, you don't. You don't. Then you're doing it wrong. I throw a leg and an arm over. Yeah, sometimes. Yeah. Yes, Rebecca and I have a name for that. We call that barnacling. You know, a barnacle sticks to something. So sexy. That's our romping session. Give me a break. Barnacle. Hey, I scraped this barnacle off of me.
Babe, I have a new nickname for you. It's Barnacle. Hey, it's no police dog. That's true. Yes, this is a man that likes to pretend that he's a police dog. A German shepherd. I will attack. M1, Mark from Lakeside, you there? Yeah, I'm here, Mike. What was the word of the day? Dagger. That is correct. Good listening. Thank you. And by the way, Mike, I want to say I agree with you on the Caterno thing. Thank you, man. That's a first human being. In America. In America. Well, besides Mrs. Paterno. I think morally, he may have had an obligation to go to a higher authority, but from a legal aspect or a professional aspect, you can't expect a guy to make the leaps and bounds to go to the cops and possibly... ruin something that may not have been true for all he knew. I think we like to point fingers at people and tell them they should do stuff. Well, when it comes to child rape, morals usually kick in over legality and where I come from. Maybe it's different here. I don't know. It's just me. Yeah, he did do something. I don't think that he could pick up the phone and call 911 and be like, I just heard something. You don't, man. I mean, nobody does. You make sure it gets done.
Sting of spooning. Yes. That's creepy. I mean. Are you a spooner? I am a big spooner. Spooner slash romper. It's a very active spooning session. It's weird. It's so weird. You have some weird word that you use. Romping. What is it? It's when spooning becomes like an active. It's intercourse, Mike. Sexual intercourse. It's interactive spooning. So you move around, you change positions. Sometimes one person is like... I wish that Matt, your boyfriend... I wish that he were here so that we could kind of get a feeling for what it is. It's like, okay, so say I'm on the left side of the bed and he's on the right and we start to spoon. Then we flip it around and I'm on the right side of the left side because the sheets get too hot. And then sometimes your head is on one end and then it flips to the other side. Oh, that's something totally different. It's totally innocent. We can't talk about that. You're not supposed to. There's no...
It's very creepy. I'm afraid to get dumped. No. It leads to a dump. Yeah, you will. I'll have to hit the dump button. Yeah, it's not intercourse. Does it lead to it? No, it's usually like a completely separate activity. Yeah, because it sounds like it isn't any fun. You're doing it because it's too hot now. Yeah, well, it usually turns violent after a point. Yeah, I can see that, L.O.B. I can see how it would turn violent. Yes, she's choking Matt. She's choking Matt and slapping him about the face. I do. Somehow I don't find that. Hard to believe. And then I'll be like, ow, your elbow is digging into me. That's when we know the romp session has gone on too long. The romp session. Get a bigger bed. Well, they sleep in a twin. Well, we don't live together, so we don't sleep in anything together. Don't you? No, I usually kick him out about 10 o'clock at night. Wait a minute. You kick him out at 10 o'clock at night? No, I don't. She's lying. He's getting the milk for free. Just in case the Catholic Church was listening or something. They can't really point fingers LLB.
You hear me, L.A.B.? Just in case you didn't hear it, I'll say it again. One more time. He's getting the milk for free. Yeah, it tastes real good. Yeah, it does. No reason to buy that cow. No. You don't worry about that cow. The cow's doing just fine. That's right. The cow's still on the market. It's easy. That's right. It's easy. No brand. Nope. Makes things a lot easier. You bet it does. When you get into fights, you got the option. It's easy. It's easy. Got a lot of options. Yes. Got a lot of options. Black options. Oh, boy. Stock options. I'm black and I'm proud. Do you? Does your boyfriend ever pull you over after the show and say, hey, babe, you know when you were saying that you have a lot of options besides me and in the course of...
saying that you had all these options. You were just sort of naming off the options. Well, no, he has not done that. One, because he knows my sense of humor. And two, because I could just point to my naked ring finger on my left hand and go, see that? That means I have options. You know what's funny? I really get upset. Mike and I, because I'll often get pulled over after the show for comments that I made. Yes. But I can also point to my ringed up finger and say, What are you going to do? Where are you going to go? Yeah, that's true. I mean, it works. What are you going to do? Well, Woods, happy wife, happy life. Oh, absolutely. But, you know, this is my job. Yesterday, we had a big, huge conversation about this on the air. Woods says, listen, what are you going to do, Mike? I like the job. This is my number one priority. That's right. Didn't hear a word about that. You didn't? Hell no. My wife knows who she married. Well, she was in a sales meeting then. She's just hearing about it. She knows who she married. She knows who she married, and she knows how important work is. That's right. And she knows that my value as a man comes from the work that I do. That's for your value as a man. Absolutely. Some value. All my value. No, it doesn't. What about your morals? That would mean that if you lost the job, that you wouldn't have any more value as a man. Well, I'd have another job. In your mind.
That is my value, man. That's what I put all my stock in. Wait a minute. I work hard. I take care of my life. So you're telling me that when they fire us today, that you, tomorrow, you are going to feel like, well, now I don't have any value as a dude? Damn right. What? You're crazy. Damn right. What? You need to work on your mom. Let's see. I don't have kids. Okay, where else? Where else do I have value? What about your scruples and your morals? Yeah, those are things that I have. Those are things that I have. I'm not a good husband if I'm not working, man, in my mind. I'm not. Oh my gosh. If I'm not paying the rent and the bills at my house, I'm not good. I have no value. I'm glad for the food on your plate. That's right. I'm very glad for the food on my plate. I will hope that hard times do not ever fall upon you. Oh, and they have, L.O.B., and I've been a wreck. A wreck. I know what he means. I mean, I think that a lot of guys, you know, that's our job. That's what makes us feel like providers. It doesn't mean you're not a good man if you get fired. Or that we don't have value. I'm not saying I'm not a good man and a good person with a good heart, but my value that I have in myself, I don't feel very, my self-esteem is garbage. That's true. I'm not working. What happens when you retire? Oh, dude, I probably never will.
Fully retire. Oh, my gosh. I can't wait. My mom will never fully retire. She can't sit still. I am her son. I won't sit still. No, no, no. But she doesn't go on bike rides. She does work. She doesn't skate or surf. Listen. It's a way. I don't think I could ever. Like, when we go on vacation and the first two days, I'm like, oh, hell yes. By day three, I'm like, oh, my God. Crazy. Oh, my God. I got to get back to work. 570-1949. Tell us what you think about that. And also tell us what your spooning bit is. Because we brought it. I don't know how it came up. I spoon for like five minutes and then I roll off my own way. But I have to start in the spoon. Where do you put your arm? I always wonder. Under the boobs. But doesn't it fall asleep? No. Oh, my other arm? Okay, so you get one arm goes over. You cup a boob. Yeah, you cup a boob. But still, then her body weight. I keep it kind of right here. It's just your fingers. I've tried to spoon before from behind, and I never know where to put my arm. You have to lay on the one arm. Wait, hang on. You have to lay on the one arm. Hang on. I mean, all she had to say, and it wasn't even in context, is I've spooned from behind.
And like a seventh grader, Woods burst into the stairs. I never knew where to put my arm. I was like, this is stupid. That sucks for the guys. I'll show you on break. It needs to be detachable. I'll show you on break. I've had to lay on it and it falls asleep. That's the problem. And you can't keep it down by your side because that's super creepy. You're like a corpse. Beyond. Beyond super creepy. Let's play Buzzword. Oh, boy. Oh, yeah, baby. Oh, yeah. 570-1949. What's the prize, Jay? I have a pair of tickets to SeaWorld. Nice. Bam. Yeah. Call us right now. 570-1949. You're going to pick me or Woods or L.O.B. to represent you in Buzzword. How's our chance? Let's do it. More from The Mikey Show coming up. Be a part of the show.
I don't think it's that simple. 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. I'm beginning to like the sound of that. FM 94.9. M1 Lily, are you there? Hello. You called AIS, and what happened? Well, I called them because I called my regular car insurance to pay my six-month premium, and it almost doubled before I even, I don't even exactly know why. Once I found out, it seemed to be a big surprise to me as to why it increased. So I remember hearing AIS all the time on the Mikey show. So I went ahead and gave him a call. And within like half an hour, AIS found a company that had the same coverage and half the price of the new premium of my old insurance. So they ended up saving me like $600 in 25 minutes. That's amazing. And that is a real story. And the number is 1-800-777-4AIS. 1-800-777-4247. Were you kind of kicking yourself like, why didn't I do this sooner? Well, I was really having my old insurance. I didn't know about AIS at all. And then all of a sudden I called the agent just to pay my bill. And out of nowhere, I got this increase. And I thought, yeah, why didn't I do this sooner? That's awesome. Lily, thank you so much for the call. We appreciate it. Thank you. We'll see you.

Weak secondary west-northwest bowl kind of holding its own right now, keeping some areas in rideable surf, but pretty small overall. Ankle knee high stuff, waist high in the better sets with that rear plus possible. Some areas as tight goes in are going to go completely flat, mainly those reef break areas. Overcast skies will greet you. Calm winds, the light offshore, so conditions are clean. Just pretty small, weak, and somewhat bleak. This has been the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. Good morning. And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. Don't really like to swim. Unlike most Latinos. Woods. I can put down a 20 pack of chicken nuggets. No problem. Lauren. I got a little pepper up my nose. Had to sneeze. And Jay. No, I didn't cry. I'm a man. On FM 94.9. All right, let's play a little buzzword. The way that it works is that Jay is going to give us a word, and then he's going to give us some clues. The answer to those clues will include the word that he gives us. For instance, if he gave us the word egg and then said, you're embarrassed. Egg on your face. Egg on your face. It's in there. Okay, but people have to call us right now and tell us who it is that they would like to represent them. Let's see. M1, meter reader from Oceanside, who do you want? LOB. LOB, hang on the line. M1, Poston from SeaWorld, who do you want? I want my boy Woodsy. Oh, boy. I am taking last every time in this game. M1, Julian from Oceanside, are you there? Yeah, I'm here.
You're stuck with me. All right, let's do this. Hang on the line. I'm going to try my best. I really am. I'm going to try to win for him. All right, Jay, what is the stinking word? You want the word? Yeah! I'll give you the word. Yeah, what is it? The word is school. All right, let's do this. Big group of swimming and... School fish! Mikey. God, I was still looking at the pen. Wow. Woods is protesting. Woods is protesting. Weird. Go back to high school. Go back to school! Night school! Song from Greece. Preschool dropout! Give it to Mikey once again. I'll give you that one. Before kindergarten. Preschool! Come on, Lauren. He's just staring in his face. I hate this word. Here we go. Me too. Secondary education. High school! Woods. Come on!
I don't even know that. I almost said college school. College school. Okay, here we go. Alice Cooper's summertime song. School's out for summer. There you go. Dang it, dang it, dang it. I knew it. I froze. You froze. I saw Casey Anthony walk across, his big cans were sticking out, and I looked right at him. Woods, you're talking about something that nobody can see. What are you doing? You're talking about something nobody can see. That's what got me. That's what threw me off. It was on the TV behind us. It was the TV in the studio. There we go. That's the explanation. Yeah, moving on. Everybody leave me alone. Here we go. Dog training program. Dog school. Kitty. Kettle school. Canine school. School for dogs. Dog training program. Dog school. Doggy school. Doggy daycare. No, that doesn't work. School nights for dogs. Yeah. Yeah. Obedient school. Obedient school. Oh, my gosh. Obedient school. Are you sure? Backpack. School bag. School bag. Really? School bag? That's what it is. The heck is that? School bag. She didn't even buy it. She's not buying it. What's the score? School bag. It's two all. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. I'm hot. Regional schools under one superintendent.
School district. School district. School district. L-O-B. New word. Thank God. What is it? Jam. All right. J-A-M. Jam. Gridlock on the streets. Show the jam. Oh, man. That may be a two-way tie between Woods and L-O-B. Sourdough and fruit spread. Jam preserve. Preserve jam. Jam. Jam and jelly. Fruit and jam. Jelly jam. Jam. Jam. Sourdough. Bread jam. Jam bread. Toast and jam. Bread and jam, guys. Come on. That's what I said. Bread jam. How can you say bread jam? I mean, how can you say fruit and jam if the word's jam? Sourdough and fruit spread. He said. Oh, fruit jam? I said bread jam. Bread and jam. Come on. Bread jam. Bread jam. It's a nonstop bread jam.
What's the word? Jam? Jam. Playing volleyball can cause you... Jam your toe! Jam your finger! Who said jam your finger first? It was Woods. Oh, come on. Jam your toe in volleyball? You knew what I meant. Woods almost jammed his toe in buzzword from kicking that big old bean bag. Here we go. Goop. Jam! I had that in my head from the start. What was it? Toe jam. Goop between your piggies. Oh my gosh. Too much lumber in the river. Jam's up the dam! Is that the word? Log jam. There you go. Thank you. I just swooped right in. I swooped right in. I believe you. What did you say? What did you say? Jams up the dam. Jams up the dam. Jams up the dam. I was so confident. Something has become jammed. I was so confident. Mikey three, Woods four, L.O.B. five. Oh, boy. Okay, we're going to do a couple of two-pointers. Oh, I'm going to take my sweater off. About time.
Clogs of the printer are copier. Paper jam! I'm giving that to Woods. Yes, finally! That was a two-pointer, L.O.B. Yeah, I know. That I should have had. Here we go. A group of musicians. A jam session! A jam session! A jam session! Who said jam session? I said it. I said jam session. It's the only one I had in my head. I said music jam. Eddie Vedder's band. Yes! No way! No way! You cannot give that jam! Run the tape. Run the tape. Oh, my God. I beat her. I beat her. Okay. Is that it? I have one more if you want to make this all or nothing right here. Does anybody want to make it all or nothing? Yes. All right. Fine. Here we go. Screw the listening. See what I care. We already did. This is a five-pointer. Okay. A tough spot to be in. A jam, Rog. A jam. Tough jam. Stuck in a jam. Stuck in a jam.
Tough jam. In a jam. In a jam. I said stuck in a jam. Give us another word. Give us another word. Another word. Another word. Another word. Oh, gosh. Everybody's running around. Here we go. We're all nervous. We're dramatic. All of us. Here we go. Beauty. That's a word. Beauty. That's a word. Beauty. Here we go. Okay. Marilyn Monroe had one. Beauty work. L-O-B. I got you on Pearl Jam. You know that. No. You did it. I don't think you did it. I got it for the win. You said it louder. You said it louder. We're on the tape. I'm completely out of breath. Oh, my gosh. That was the hardest we've ever played. Oh, yeah. By far. Too many logs, jam up the day. I was like, that's definitely insane. Oh, yeah. I was so confident. It sounded like insane. It just came to me. M1 Meter Reader, are you there? Yeah. Lauren O'Commerce brought it home. That's right. Lauren O'Commerce brought it home.
That'll never happen as far as her taking that name. You know that. O-Commerce, he said. I know. The combination. I like it. L-O-C. L-O-S-U. No. L-S-U. I like L-O-S-U. That was definitely the most strenuous game of buzzword that we have ever. ever played. Yeah, threw out my back too. You did? Yep. It's from all the thrusting. Man. And the chair throwing. Celebratory. My God. Seeing a woman thrust the way that LOB does is very funny. Let's see. Mikey Show, hello. Hello. Hi. Hi. Hi. I am so irritated. Weird. Captain Buzzword? Yeah. Yeah. I wish he was catching buzzwords. What happened to Chris? He moved on to some other projects. I don't like the girl. Why? Because you don't know how to talk to women? No, that's not why. Because I called in for buzzwords and she wouldn't let me see. She probably had other people lined up. Yeah, it happens. Stupid game anyway. Why'd you call in? Yeah, why'd you want to play? Because I wanted the tickets. SeaWorld?
Bring your mom. You have to know my niece is coming in town. And I wanted to go. Yeah, because you wouldn't have a date there. I wanted to sell them. Sell them. You're that guy? You're that guy. Creep. It's a stupid game for you guys to play anyway. It's all visual. Not all visual. It's not visual at all. Stupid. You're stupid. Can't you hear us yell stuff out? Is that audio? Yeah, can't you play along in your car? Well, in your basement? I know more about it than you do. Hit it. Wow.
Wow, he's just mumbling along. Still there? You're a clown. I like that song. I hate you guys. I am voting for AJ in the RFX. It's your prerogative. Yeah, it's your prerogative. Right now, they're doing some stupid comedy to see who's the best morning DJ in San Diego. And I find it so stupid that Mikey is in the semifinals.
Do you? Why'd you vote for him so many times? You know, I voted for Jagger and Chris, and they didn't. No, and I know what everybody wants. They want to see a showdown between Mikey and B-Rub. That's true. Well, let me tell you guys. Are you going to break it down? I know people. Yeah? And if I assemble an army, I can get literally tens of people. Tens of twenties? Tens of twenties of people. We've got thousands of fans. Right. I am going to start a Captain Buzzkill page. A real page. Somebody already might beat you to it out there. Yeah. And I will have you friend me. I won't friend you. Yes, you will. If it were a real page, you'd have to have fans. So people would have to choose to like you. You couldn't just friend them. Right. Put your swag in. Hello. You're still here? We're here. I hate you.
Put your sweatpants on. He hates us so much he took the time to write a song. Yes, and he said hit it. Yeah. You're so smart. All of your M1s. I'm going to just tell all of your M1s something right now. What? I'm going to come down there and I'm going to challenge all of you breakdancing guys. Wow. You probably won't have any takers. I would love to see that. Yeah, I would too. I would pay. Man. When I was younger, I used to be a professional break dancer. It's the truth. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How much younger? Like six? No, I was in a group, and we were called the Backstreet Joys. And we would get together on Saturday nights with linoleum, and we would work it out. That's not professional. Yeah, well, that's how it started. You can call it semi-pro. I'll give you that. Semi-professional. No.
I used to dance for Whitney Houston. No, you didn't. Well, when her video was on the TV. You have a dog named Whitney Houston? Yeah. You have an aunt. Aunt Whitney Houston. Put yourself up. Creep. You had a whole thing prepared for you. Yeah. A whole song. Definitely put some effort into that. Except for the mumbling part. Yeah, the mumbling part. It was like he didn't have anything to say or he lost his place or something. It's weird. Dummy. 570-1949 is our number. Yeah, you know, he alluded to it, Captain Buzzkill, that we are on the R-Factor, and we want you to vote for us. If you go to Facebook.com slash Mikey Show, you're going to see it there. Woodsy posted it. I did. And he's asking everybody to vote for me. Miguel Arasparza. Yes.
You won't find it under that name. Right, right. So don't look for it like that. Right. Yeah. 5701949 is the number if you want to give us a call. Oh, Gabrielle Gifford is doing great. She's doing great. Woods? Yes. Would you care to explain? Uh-uh. Just look at my friend Lauren. She made me laugh. She made a funny face. Why you are laughing at the mention of Gabrielle. We used to do a bit. She's an American hero. When her astronaut husband wanted to leave her behind in the dust to rehab on her own, I would act out as Gabrielle Giffords, and Woods would have to raise my thumb up for me to give the thumbs up that I was happy that he was going to space. Listen, the fact of the matter is, it was going to be one of the last shuttle missions ever. She was okay. Okay? She was doing good.
Nine millimeter. It's all relative. Yeah, it's all relative. She's learning how to speak again right now. She's doing great. Yeah, she is. And she wanted him to go on this trip. She wanted him to be in the space shuttle. It was what he'd worked his whole career for. Yeah, he'd been six times. Yeah, it's something you get tired of going up to do. Yeah, you finally just get tired of the space shuttle. It wasn't his first time. No. He'd been up there six or seven times. It was his job as J-O-B. Here he is talking about it. Yet I'm the monster for saying that my job is priority number one. That's right. If she had passed away while he was out in space, I'm sure he could have quickly gotten back. Yeah, that bullet lodged in her brain, you never know what can happen. Would he have been able to save her? Let's listen to Mark. What was the first word she said? She actually said the word what, which you would think is a question, but the way she said it wasn't like a question, and she said it over and over. What the hell were you doing in the space shuttle? That's exactly what I was going to say. What the hell were you thinking when you went in the space shuttle? It was like her brain booted up right at that point. And then another word. You know, breakfast showed up and it was oatmeal and a banana for like a week straight. And she finally said, toast. Like, I'd like something. I'd like some toast. It's pretty cool.
That's what they told me. They had called me up in space and they had told me that the guy was toast. And I said, babe, all I have is Tang. I'm in space. All I have is Tang. He's on a space shuttle mission for crying out loud. Can you hear me? It's a pretty big thing to do. Yeah, totally. She is still in a kind of fog trying to fight her way to the surface. I wonder why. She was shot in the head. Oh, that's right. It's as if a hurricane has blown away words. They are just out of reach. On the tape, you can see what it takes to reclaim them phrase by phrase. How dare you? Hour after hour each day. Five weeks after she is shot, she is trying to find the word for a chair. You sit in the spoon. Watch me, Gabby. Spoon. Gabby. Watch me. That's right. Watch me. She said spoon for chair. Yeah, for... For a while. Cheeseburger for lamb. Yes. What a trip how the brain works. Isn't that wild? That is a trip. I'm frustrated. It's okay. And chicken. Yeah, for a lot of things. Zip up your chicken jacket. Chicken, chicken. So strange. That is wild. And then it comes back. And then it came back. Then now, you know, now she's doing good. By the way.
Oh, but she wants to regain her job again. Yes, but she's still not speaking sentences. Babe, I'm playing 36 today, so I hope you're doing good with your chicken chair and everything. I'm going to take you to the house. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got 36, though. What? Yeah, yeah, I got 36. The man is on a space shuttle. I gotta go. I gotta go. I got my tee time for like 50. Yes, spoon. Very good. 15 minutes. Gabrielle was asked if she will go back to Congress. So today. Does she really think she can go back to Washington? No, better. It's better? Um, I, oh. Um. All right, maybe he should have stayed home. All right, maybe he should, all right, maybe. Poor woman. She wants to get better. Better. You want to get better? Better.
That's so sad. But then he says that she wanted him to go. She squeezed. She said chicken, and he goes, yeah, yeah, yeah. She wants me to take it to the house. What could he have done for her? Stay by her freaking side. Oh, man, that's going to make her better. It's not about what you can do. It's about being there. Wait, what could my wife have done for her sick mother? Nothing. But she wanted to be there by her side every day. He said. Every day? She squeezed, yes. She squeezed, yes. When my dad was in the hospital, I couldn't stay with him the whole time. Did your mom? No. You think to yourself, I'll go back to Congress if I get better. Yes, yes, yes. Wow. And that's where you are right now. Yes, yes, yes. She's a really neat lady. My brother has a friend. And before all of this happened, my brother's friend, her daughter, wrote Gabrielle a letter and said that when she grew up, she wanted to be a politician and do the same kind of thing. And she sent her a photograph of herself, you know, and signed it and said, you can do anything you put your mind to. You know, really neat lady, Gabrielle Gifford. Oh, yeah, for sure. And so it's very touching. Now that I hear her condition, maybe second guess yourself a little. She's so smart. And now she's got to learn all that stuff over. I know. It's really sad.
Our husband definitely was. Maybe our husband should have listened to the words of this song before he decided to pack his bag for. Space. Space, you know. I'm just going to get as far away from you as I can. Yeah, yeah, yeah. In your time of need. Right. Herman Cain had his own Rick Perry moment. You know how Rick forgot the third branch of government that he was going to fire when he became president? Well, Herman Cain had the same thing happen to him. He was. I'll just play the audio. Let's see how you feel about this. Oh, this is that Unearthed Doors CD that they found, isn't it? It is not. This is Morrison doing public service announcement in 1968. It is not. It has to be. As it turns out, it's Jimmy Fallon. Crazy, Jimmy Fallon.
How many of us yesterday had in our heads a reading rainbow? By the end of the day, I had Jasper doing it. That's awesome. A reading rainbow. I did it all day. I sang it out loud in my home, like walking around cleaning up dog food. Me too. Reading rainbow. Butterflies in the sky. Take a look. I almost like those words better than... It's great. Well, when you compare it to the original, butterfly in the sky. That's right. I can go twice as high. Now, check this out. Friday, we're going to be collecting canned goods for the hungry. And we're going to be doing it at Dave & Buster's. Thank you to our friends over at Dave & Buster's. Especially Randall, man. Because he stepped up to the plate. He heard about what we're doing.
He found out that we were asking people to bring by some canned goods, and he said, look, I know you guys are doing a thing where the person that brings the most cans is going to get to go to the Holiday Hootenanny, get signed memorabilia, get the tickets for four. I want to throw in a $500 party at Dave & Buster's, to which we said, thank you, sir. That is awesome. And so that's what he's doing, and we want to thank him. and we want to get people to bring out some canned goods and see us and hang out with us after the show on Friday over at Dave & Buster's. Please come by, say hi, hang with us a little bit, and bring some food, bring some canned goods for the hungry. It's all going to the San Diego Food Bank. Show us those cans. Yeah, got to see them. This is Herman Cain's Rick Perry moment. Rick Perry had a moment last week where he was in a debate and said that he was going to shut down three branches of government. Thing is, he couldn't remember the third. And so... Here goes Herman Cain. So you agreed with President Obama on Libya or not? Okay, Libya. President Obama supported the uprising, correct? President Obama called for the removal of Gaddafi. He doesn't remember. I just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing before I say, yes, I agreed. I know I didn't agree. Oh, wow.
I do not agree with the way he handled it for the following reason. No, that's a different one. Oh, God. No, no, no, no. I got to go back and see. Got all this stuff twirling around in my head. Oh, that is the most uncomfortable thing. Wait, wait, wait. Did you say Libya or Lebanon? Wait. Identical Herman K. Wait. Wait, wait, wait. Oh, wait. I'd have a better chance at being president. Wait a minute. Kadavri? Is he like a great big fat person? I know, James, you're mistaken. We're talking about Libya.
And the uprising? Yes. It's a song by Muse, right? Uprising? It is a song by Muse. Wait, wait. You're talking about the uprising in Libya, right? Correct. I know who was responsible for that. Who? Was her name Federica Bummel? No. No. Stop tucking back. Stop tucking back. Stop. Let it go. Let it go. Was there anything creepier in that movie when he says, was she like a great big fat person? When he has those business cards in his hand. He crumbles. He lets them all fall and he slinks around the corner. Well, you know I watched it Friday because I kept texting you pictures. Woods kept pausing silence of the lens. He paused it. He would take pictures of the top back and text them to me. The cast. Him and the cast. Oh, man. Get into the van.
Oh, my God. That movie. Can you help me get this from my van? Oh, wow. So, this is from L.O.B.'s Recap. Yesterday, I can't make this up. It's okay to read this, right? Oh, yeah. Okay. I'm not ashamed of it. Yesterday, I was reading up about breast augmentation. What? Pardon? That's right. A friend told me about a new procedure. I'm interested. Apparently, this breast augmentation uses a fat transfer from a woman's own body. Meaning that they take fat from another part of her body and they use it to make boobs. Wow. And L.O.B. says she is 100% in on that. You can have some giant boobs. Oh.
My gosh, that is so rude and mean. Jay, that's mean. Oh, that just slays her. Remember the few things you're not supposed to make fun of? A woman? Yeah. And you're not overweight. I mean, that is just so... Where would they get it from, you think? There's a couple places you want me to go into detail. Well, he knows exactly what he's saying. Leave her alone! Just leave her alone. I could borrow maybe some from your... Never mind. No, you couldn't. Trust me. So listen to this. She's cutting deep. LLJ is so funny. He's like a freaking sniper. I'll get you. So listen to this. LOB says, if only I had $30,000. Whoa. Then she could take a few days off and go to New York. Mikey. I wrote that. She wrote, Mikey. For two things, giving me the time off and the $30,000. Cut her a check. Hey, our next 28 hour. Yes. Hey. For LLB's boobs. Yes. Are they really charging that much money? It says $20,000 to $30,000, and I guess it just depends on probably the person. You know what I mean? They probably, how much fat they have, how invasive it's going to have to be. I'd donate for you.
Donate your belly? Yeah, donate that little guy for you. No, it would reject your fat. Yeah. Wait a minute. Don't they have to put it in some sort of sack? I don't know. They do skin grafting. I didn't read, like, exactly. No, because, you know, it's like liquid. I've heard of it before. They didn't go in a sack. It just goes in there, but it has a tendency to get really hard. It'll kill you. You have to really need it. Yeah, you have to massage it. Well, I mean, she doesn't need it. It's a thing she wants. She doesn't need it. She wants it. She doesn't need it. She wants it. She doesn't need it. She wants it. Hey, I support yellow. I do, too. I think if you want to. No, it's not necessary. It's not necessary, but if they can do it, that's every woman's dream to take fat from where they don't want it and put it where they do. At least every fat. Every fat woman. Every fat, sloppy woman. I was going to say flat-chested woman. Fat-chested. That's Mikey. Mikey's fat-chested. And Wood, too. He can give you a nice little B-cup. That's right. Oh, sorry. I already have a B-cup, Wood. Well, Mike can give you an F-cup. If you're looking for F-cups, Mike's got enough to get you up there. The whole point is it doesn't... Throw Wood's in there, you'll have a Q-cup. Oh, yeah. Hell, yeah.
I would happily take your guys' donations, but that's not acceptable. M1 Justine from San Diego. What is wrong? Hello? Wait, sorry. I didn't have you on. You there? Hello? Why are you upset? Vote no on this one, you guys. This is a poor, poor decision. LOB, you haven't done any research. She's not really going to do it. You know, she just... is an invasive procedure. Yes. And there are people listening to your show. You just had a better example. No, came on you. You guys should not be encouraging her. I don't know if you're really encouraging her. It sounds like you guys are poking fun at her. Well, for the record, for the record, Jay and Wood support it. Oh, 100%. Oh, no. And for the record, Jay is definitely poking fun at me. I'm poking fun, but I would never encourage you. I like boobs both sizes. Wouldn't you? Nope. I'd pick you up from surgery a little bit. Thank you. Oh, wow. Woods definitely believes. Because he's a boob man. I don't want to see him. I'm a boob man. Look, it's not something that I think I need and I'm telling people to go out there and get. I think any surgery, any elective surgery, there's definitely an implied risk and you've got to think about it before you do it. Absolutely. You can't lift your arms after. It's a big pain. It's a recovery. But is it worth it to you? All that money? All that stress on your body?
It could be if I had that kind of money laying around. Do you have boobs? Are you packing? I'm tall and lanky. I've got a B cop, but I'm fine with that, honestly. I don't know what I do with bigger boobs. I really don't. I can barely sleep as it is. I do. Woods is a boob job guy. I'm just a boob guy. No, you're more a boob job guy. No, I like them all, pal. My wife doesn't have boob jobs. She has great boobs. Yeah, I know, but you like those big, fakie-looking ones? I do not discriminate. You appreciate the appearance of them. Oh, yeah. And the feel. Whatever. And the weight. Listen, each individual woman's deal. I mean, any surgery is invasive. You would have to do your research and look into it. But I don't think it's any different than putting on mascara to choose to do something like that. you can wipe away with a product that costs three dollars what about a tattoo or dyeing your hair or dyeing your hair again you can change that but just it's a big decision and i just don't think should be
a big topic. There's been too much discussion on this. You know, move on, you guys. You're making fun of her, not encouraging her, and I just don't think this is something that should be important. Everybody's wanting us to move on from everything. So we need to start planning for 1,600 topics. Apparently. And L.O.B., for the record, was not encouraging women to go do it, but she's saying that if she had 30 grand, she would do this. I would highly consider it. You wouldn't help the needy. You can't really tell people how they could and should spend their money. I mean, here's the thing. You're giving an example. How am I giving an example, though? You are making it public what you would do with this money. That's not the first thing I would do with that money. I'm saying if I had an extra $30,000 laying around, I would definitely consider it. That's the first thing in my life that I was made fun of for. And they never came in. Boy, mine did. Mine did too. There's a lot of Mother Teresa's out there. Real good. Well, I do plenty for charity. What? A beaver issue? A beaver issue. Is this the first thing you're made fun of for? Yes. Come on. Don't let those bullies. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Yeah, I mean, wait, wait, wait. Justine, it was bullying to say that to her, but that doesn't change the fact that, you know, she feels self-conscious about it.
Yeah, it's just one of those things that when I was a little, I was a cute little kid. I was funny. I was smart, all this stuff. And then come like fourth grade, that was the first thing that people could start to say to me. And I was like, oh, boy. And then I was like, you know. You want to send the message to other cute little kids that they're not good enough? What little kids am I sending the message to, though? Yeah. I mean, she's not going to schools and campaigning at elementary schools going. It'd be a personal decision if I wanted to change my own appearance for just personal reasons. A woman's body is a woman's body. And it's my body. It's my fat. I'm just displacing it. Thank you for the call, Justine. Very upset. Very upset. I'm not going to do it. You guys know if I had $30,000, I'd probably sit on it. If I hit the lottery, I would probably get it done. Really? Yeah. She put basketballs under her shirt and got attention. Oh, yeah. Basketball. A ton of attention. I mean, even though guys knew they were basketballs. Even my own boyfriend who knew they were basketballs couldn't stop himself from looking. Longingly. Longingly looking at your chest that he knew. There's no doubt about it. Guys like boobies. All sizes. And that's the thing.
I used to be like self-conscious about it when I was younger. And then I found plenty of guys that it wasn't an issue for them. So it's not like a thing where I walk around every day and I'm like, oh, I need to change this about myself. But when I find out about this procedure that's minimally invasive and it takes my fat from a different part and puts it in another part, why not? If it looks really natural, you know, you're doing something for yourself to make yourself to look good in a mirror. People do plenty of plastic surgery. I don't judge them. Yeah. I just don't like them when they're the Tory spelling bit, man. No problems for me. I couldn't do that. I wouldn't do that. I would only do the real fat. M1 Yaspa? Is that your name, Yaspa? Yaspa, yes. Good morning. Hi. Hi. I just don't understand with all the women calling and attacking L.O.B. I mean, she's a grown woman. Yes, it's a show you guys represent.
You know yourselves. But, I mean, she's a grown woman that's on her own time. If she wants to get a boo job and she has extra money, she should just be able to go ahead and do it. And she isn't campaigning to school kids on the platform. No, I mean, that's your job as a parent. I'm sorry. I'm not attacking parents, but that's your job as a parent to let them know what's right and what's wrong. And, you know, she's above the age of where she's allowed to decipher. So what she can do. So I don't see what the big deal is. I don't understand why these women are so upset. Thank you. Appreciate it. And I'm well above the age of making, like, I'm 30. I mean, I shouldn't even really be considering it because how many good years do I really have? Oh. Appearance-wise. Oh, my gosh. She's doing that thing. She talks to her boyfriend directly. No, no, no. I meant, like, honestly, like, how many years do I have where I really even have to care about my appearance, right? It's true. Look at me. No, that is not true. You look very young. You don't even look like your age. I'm just saying that. It's not like I would be, it's not like I made this decision as a 14-year-old and my parents. I'm not even making, I'm not even doing it. I'm just saying in theory I would. That's a true fact. M1, Nikki from Hillcrest. Turn your radio down, Nikki. Nikki. Nikki. Hey. Hi. So, how's it going, guys? Good. I just wanted to call in and say that I've actually had breast augmentation surgery.
I didn't actually go. I just went to like a C cup. So it's like nothing ridiculous. And it totally can help your self-esteem. What were you before? A B. You went from a B to a C? Yeah. Yeah. Well, I had... It was kind of... One was smaller than the other. So I just wanted to even them out. Wait, wait, wait. Here's the thing, though. I mean, I believe that with every woman, one is a little larger than the other. I don't think you're going to find a woman that is... perfectly symmetrical where they're exactly the same size. Sometimes it's extreme, though. Extreme, if it's extreme, yeah. But most women... I've seen plenty symmetrical. Oh, yeah. Yeah, they're boob jobs. No. Not true. Really? Mine are perfectly symmetrical. Well, I'm... Hey, listen, I'm blessed with large breasts. Yeah, but the right one's a little bit bigger. Yes. But there's plenty. It's probably about 50-50, I'd say. Yeah. So... I understand. You know, you felt self-conscious about something and you could do something about it. You know, if you don't like it, don't do it. And if somebody wants to do it, then do it. You can always send us a picture and we'll say whether you should have one or not. We'll help you out with it. Hey, can I ask you a personal question, Nikki? Yeah. How much did it cost? Oh, I am not 100% sure. Who paid for it?
My parents did. Your parents did? How old are you? I'm 21. I had it when I was 18. Now, they paid for it. I just want to get to the bottom of why. You know, I told my mom that it was... Well, actually, I just mentioned it casually. I said, you know, someday I think I might look into doing this. And we just happened to have a neighbor who works at a... At a plastic surgery clinic. House of Boobs. Worked at House of Boobs. Yeah, House of Cans. And it was just something that she was all, oh, well, let's get you an appointment. Like, yeah, let's look at it. You know, she very much wants her kids to be happy. Well, there are some downsides to it. Thank you for the call. There are some downsides to it, like M1 Roxy from Scripps Ranch. Are you there, Roxy? I'm here. The downside. The downside is I got it done and I lost all sensation in my, can I say the word? Yeah, you can say it. In my nipples. Really? And incidentally, my mom also had it done and she also lost sensation there. And I don't know what the statistics are for that happening, but it's just kind of odd that, you know, we both lost it. So that's just something to be aware of. Yeah. I'm sure there's, aside from that, I mean, death is always a side of.
A possible side effect. You're probably not going to die from getting a boob job. What are the statistics on women dying from boob jobs, though? Any surgery. LOP. You can die. Yes, of course, but this isn't open heart boob jobs, okay? No, but you can get infections. You can have stuff left in there. I mean, there's side effects to every surgery, so it's weighing the risks, you know what I mean? Oh, wow. All right, thank you for the call. M1 Shelly from San Diego. I think L.O.B. has lots of good years left because I'm 52. You guys have seen me. You don't know I'm 52. And my boobs look darn good. Isolate. I am ready to rumble. Woods is standing in the corner, and I don't blame him. I don't blame him. Woods is standing in the corner. Like Blair Witch Project. Listen, Shelly, it is difficult for us to, you know. I've never looked at her boobs. We haven't looked at your boobs and quite frankly, quite frankly, it's unusual to put that image in our head. Right. And to say, well, you guys know, you've seen them. I've never seen them. You haven't seen my boobs, but. No.
I mean, I have been told I'm still perky. Oh, God bless. Oh, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Good for you. I worked out. I'm a double T, you guys, and I'm good. All right. Oh, very nice. Maybe you sent us a picture. Chest crush. She has a wonderful physique. Jay, she could be 99 years old, I'm convinced. And Jay would be like, send a picture. Hey, she says they're perky. I've got to see them now. You've met her. But I didn't look at her boobs. Didn't. Say about the healthy food for your dog. Oh, I know. She has a wonderful physique. I was kidding about the good years left. But the guys think that. Woods flat out looks in your face and says. I think you should get a boob job. Make that right for yourself. Make it right. If it's what she wants. You monstrous. You said it before I mentioned it. I believe in a woman's right to choose what she wants to do to her own body. Why do you love? Never mind. You're such a creep. I'm really not. I'm just honest. Anyway, I'm not getting a boob job, everybody. Just calm down. Way to tease us.

Are you dug in to believing that pesto? Yeah. Jay goes, me? No, I did. No, I didn't say anything. I did. Oh. Are you dug in to believing that pesto is an 80s thing? Yeah. Strange. 1987, big player. New York City, pesto. Dude, you're out of your gourd. What about Alfredo? Is that 90s? No, that's old school. When was that from? It was old school. Alfredo. 60s, 50s, 60s. Oh. Yeah. What about marinara? Oh, forever. Forever. Yeah.
But pesto was invented in the 80s? No. Yeah, pesto's the quiche of the 80s. Shut up. It was invented in the 80s. No, it was not. Of course it wasn't, L.O.B., but he won't eat pesto because he says it's like a Nagel. He says it's like a Patrick Nagel painting. I bet at home he's just listening to Nickelback and eating pesto. I promise you. Non-stop. Pesto stays. I had pesto. Watching the Jersey Shore. I had pesto twice. No, that's somebody else on this show. I will say who I really am and what I like and don't... As opposed to... As opposed to my good friend. I am 100% R-U-R. Look, I can't piss my fans off, man. They sell it at the pizza parlors. What's a... Parlor? I... You know what I'm saying. So? I don't. I need you to say it again. I want to hear that one right now. I want to hear that one back right this second. Pizza parlor. Again? The whisper of... Pizza place. Pizza port. P-A-R-L-O-R. It's like mouth yoga. Pizza parlor. There you go. It seems so 80s to me that I picture a 43-year-old man...
dating a 22-year-old girl, having her over the house. Go on. And he's got black lacquered furniture, okay, with gold rimmed. And there's a mirror on his dresser. It's all black lacquered. Right. He's got black leather couches. Yeah. On his wall, he has Nagel paintings. If you don't know what a Nagel is, you need to look it up. Yeah, Google it. It's very popular in 86. It's the cover of Duran Duran Rio. Yeah, it's a Nagel. He might have a cache of cocaine somewhere stashed in his house. Is he wearing white pants? He's wearing white pants. He's making pesto pasta. And she's like, oh boy, I knew this guy was creepy. He's going to feed me pesto. You are a strange person. Because you realize that almost every Italian restaurant sells pesto. So why would they sell it if it was so 80s? Because of people like you guys. You're so strange. Wow. Because every now and then some clown walks in and is like, hey, do you have pesto? It comes from Florence. Disgusting. And it sticks in your mouth for, I had it one time. I had it one time in college. And I was like, oh, God. Did someone in college make it? Yeah. Well, that's why. Well, he's a chef. He's a chef now. This guy knew what he was doing. Well, he was in culinary school. Did he make powdered pesto? No. Do you not like basil?
Basil's okay, but I'm not crazy about it. And that's what it is. I'm not crazy about basil. That's what pesto is. You know when you get the deal at the restaurant, and it's my favorite appetizer, the caprese with the tomato? I pull that thing right off. What? You're insane. I'm not insane. I just like what I like. You're crazy. You're crazy. You're certifiable. It's disgusting. How do you not like that? I don't know. It's just gross. Vinegar. It's gross. A little balsamic on there. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah. Listen. You're going to want to podcast this because you're going to want to remember this. I saw Jamie Oliver. Edible Viagra. But, you know, good stuff. A friend told you that, right? Well, experience. But we got a handful of basil, which isn't traditional. Basil. Basil. Basel. Jamie Oliver. I saw him make some pesto one time. He says he was walking down the street in London and there was an Italian place that said Europe's number one champion, like he won a contest for making pesto. And he said, I went inside, asked the guy how to make it, and I'm going to tell you. Because it's so simple. So I'm going to tell M1s.
If you are so inclined. It's very easy. If you don't have a mortar and pestle, it's the greatest thing that you can ever have in your kitchen. All right? It's made of lava rock and it's a bowl. And you put stuff in there and you bash it up. You smash it. You pulverize it into pulp. Like pills and stuff? Yeah. It's the exact same thing. It's the exact same thing, only bigger. Yeah. Okay? So you get fresh basil. If you go to any grocery store now, they sell it like a plant. And you buy it, and you pick all the leaves off, and then you put the leaves into a salad spinner to clean them. And then you dump all that into a mortar and pestle, bash it up until it's goop. Okay? Take that out. Put it aside. Take some pine nuts. You take some pine nuts. Yeah.
No, no, no, no. L-O-B, it's only because you had those bad pine nuts from Asia. I'm glad she said that. Thank you for saying that. It's a very important point. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. Listen. Thank you, Oprah. Don't get pine nuts that are from Asia. No, don't. You do not want pine nuts from Asia. You might end up with pine mouth. Yes, you get this thing called pine mouth. That's what pesto tastes like in my mouth, pine mouth. Okay. So you take these pine nuts, get some good pine nuts, you put them in the mortar and pestle, and you bash those suckers up until they're in a paste. Take that out. Next, you throw in some grated Parmesan cheese. Now listen to this. Don't just go buying Parmesan cheese. Don't just go buying Parmesan cheese. It's the kind that you grate. And don't just go getting it from a grocery store. Seems like a lot of work. Dude. It is a lot of work. 15-hour meal. It is a lot of work. No, no, no. It's actually not a lot of work. It's very simple, but the right stuff for it is crucial. There's a little cheese shop called Vemissimo. Yeah.
And it's over off Via Della Valle in the Flower Hill Mall. Been there. Yeah, I've been there. And you buy a block of imported Parmesan cheese. It'll cost you about eight bucks. Imported from Italy? Imported from Italy. And you... What are you doing there, man? Wow, you can't do that in the store. No, that's great. I'm great at cheese. That's what they call it now. That's what the kids are calling it. That's what I'm going to do later. Oh, wow. I'm grating cheese. Good one. You put that in the mortar and pestle, bash that up. And then... After you grate it? Yeah, after you grate it, you put it in there and you bash it a little bit. Then you put all the ingredients together. The basil pulp, the pine nuts. Oh, I forgot one. Take all that out. You take however much garlic you want. This is the last ingredient. It's only four ingredients. Wow. What about no olive oil? Olive oil, garlic, basil, and cheese. Okay. And olive oil? Don't skimp. Go to Whole Foods and look for an olive called Olio Verde. Now, I'm going to tell you right now, that is going to set you back. That's a $30 bottle of olive oil. That's worth it, though. Let me tell you something. This will knock your socks off. Good olive oil can make or break an entire meal. Anything.
And this, let me tell you, this is the greatest olive oil, and they now sell it in San Diego. You used to only be able to get it in New York City. That's the only place I ever saw it. Now you can get it in San Diego at Whole Foods. Okay, so pulp paste of the basil. Bash up as many pieces of garlic that you like. I like about four or five. Cloves. Cloves. Wow. Out of the skin. And then you add all that stuff together. Stir it up with a bunch of that olive oil until it looks like it's, you know, liquid. Boil up pasta. Pour that over it. Bring some. I'll try it. It will. I'll try it. And if I'm wrong, you know me. I'll tell you. I'm wrong. It tastes good. You don't like basil. I don't like basil. I don't like pine nuts. If you don't like basil and pine nuts, it's just not for you. It's just not for you. Yeah, it's not for me. And basil is probably one of my favorite flavors. Do you know that? Mm-hmm. You know that it takes the average person seven minutes to eat a meal. So you go, you make like three different stops. You go to all these stores, park at all these places. Then the person scarfs it down in seven minutes and is like, what was that? Oh, lots of leftovers with this. Yeah. You know, I even get specialty. You know what pasta I like is Coppola. Francis Ford Coppola makes wine. He makes pasta and Italian stuff.
The exact recipes that his family made back in the old country. Wow. I made some chicken marsala that I got off the internet one time. You did? Yes. It took freaking forever. Was it good? It was so good. And I learned a trick from the Sopranos. Instead of just eating the piece of chicken with the mushrooms, put it over some egg noodles with the sauce on it. Oh, dude. His mom used to do that. You couldn't? I couldn't get enough. We were on vacation. I want that right now. It was 8 o'clock in the morning. Jamie went to work. I woke up and was like. Yeah, that's breakfast. Egg noodles, chicken marshala for breakfast. My mom used to make that all the time. It's phenomenal. Egg noodles are not used enough. They are not used enough. They're used on the East Coast for Italian cooking. You could put anything over egg noodles and it's going to be good. You could put butter on them. I'm having egg noodles tonight. Let's make some egg noodles. Remember the hamburger helper that we used to have back in the day? My mom used to do that and use the egg noodles. I've got no beef with hamburger helper. I'll eat it. I haven't seen it in like 30 years. They got it. You know what I have on my phone too? The Jamie Oliver app. Me too.
And when I cook, he'll talk to you. He'll be like, now it's time to cut the onions. It's great. For a quick tutorial on how to cut a proper onion. I taught you the two greatest things I've ever learned how to do are pesto and a great steak. Yeah, you make a mean steak. If you can make a great steak and some good pesto, you're going to go. Woods is one of the only guys I've ever met that don't like basil. I don't like pesto. I don't like it. It's 80s. My wife, you know my wife. She's a picky. Oh, yeah. When I make that pesto, she is a happy lady. And it's up to you, but you could also throw in there. It's your call. I like to get a nice chicken breast and put that same olive oil on it. Just get it wet with the olive oil and then with your hands, smear it on top of the chicken. And then just kosher salt and pepper and roast it in the oven. At 350 for a half an hour, take that out. Let it cool down. Take it off, put it on a chopping board. Throw it in there. Throw it in there. I'd eat that, but I want to try it. I'll try it. It's juicy. That garlic and all of that slight saltiness from the Parmesan cheese lights you up. So when you make pesto, are you pretty sure that you're going to get nookie that night? Yes.
A hundred percent. So do you make it with the intent of? Nookie. I would like to make love. I don't make it with the intent of, but I make it with the full knowledge of. It's not the intent. It's the full knowledge. But you can't kiss because your breath. Yeah, you can't because it cancels each other out. Yeah, it cancels it out. Cancels it out. It's the best. One more. Jay, you're going to love this. Three ingredient garlic bread. And I'll tell you, this came from Eddie's dad. the old school, from the old country, all the way back to Italy. This is the greatest recipe you'll ever hear for garlic bread. Take a pan, a small pan or pot, okay? Take a stick of butter, put it in there, let it start to melt, and then take a garlic press and press five, six garlics in there. Wow. And then you just let it simmer, okay? Then you take a piece, a loaf of French bread, cut it in half, put it in the oven on the rack and let it toast so it's like toast. Then take that out and with a spoon, take all those garlicky bits and butter and spoon it over the top so it drizzles on the top of the bread and then good Parmesan cheese, grate it up, drop it on top and let it melt on it. That garlic bread will get you. It's good.
Make that right. It's the best. Then you just need to add just a little bit of sorbet at the end to clean your palate off, and you'll be good. It's great. Will you and Jamie come over Sunday night for that? No, you will not. I have an appearance Sunday. How about you, LLB? Yeah, I guess we'll just maybe him and Matt. Hey, you know what? I could probably try that recipe that he talked about. Yeah, let's do it. We'll hang out. Then we'll go see a Matt and Kim show. Yeah, let's do that. They've trained me. You both have trained me. Oh, yeah. I've never said no to you. I've been trained like a dog. Yeah, you guys have been trained. I've been trained like a dog. LLB, would you like to go to lunch with us? Nope. A fake lunch. Immediate no. Yeah. You asked the day of. Why do you need a six-month plan to get a Chipotle burrito? I've got to put in right now for next May. We're going to go to lunch. I have bigger plans. I'm not going to lunch today. Why do you think I'm dressed the way I am? I'm going to the gym. I'm going to choose fitness. You know what the gym is, Mikey? It's a place where people go and work out. It's short for gymnasium. What if I go there? You don't even know. What if I do? I might go. You don't even know. How would you know what I'm up to? Just because we don't tell everybody every time we work out like you do, Jay.
Every time. You don't always work out, but when you do, you tell everybody about it. Everyone has to know. Everybody's got to know. You ask. No, we didn't. You put it in your recap. You ask me what I do every day. This has to be what it is. Plus, you guys are generally out of here like 10 or 3 every day. Yeah. Yeah, we're going to the gym. Are you? Aren't we? Are you just going to throw us under the bus like that? You guys are out of here at 10 or 3. And one of them also mentioned that Jay always plays ping pong. He does. Well, you know, it's to release the pressure after the show, and then I get right to work and work for about four hours straight. Four hours straight. You mean like when I tried to call you at 10.30 on a Friday? It was a Friday. Fridays are special days. Oh. I was still here. So was Nicole. I mean, the rocks on this guy. Yeah.
To say that, I mean. It's brass ball. Yeah, that's right. It sure does. To say that if he gets off work and does four hours. There's no way. It's brass ball. There's no way. Hard, hard hours of work. Really? I'm not napping on the couch or nude laptopping. I don't nap on the couch. I nap in the bed. You know what I mean? Yeah, I don't nap on the couch or nude laptop. I play special ops with my girlfriend Adam. For 15 hours. I'm storming the beach at Normandy, Chubbs. What did you do? Yeah, what did you do today? I protected a whole freaking village. I keep my brain young. In Kazakhstan. I was in Kazakhstan today, Mike. What the hell did you do? I ain't at the pizza paler every day, Mike. That's right. I ain't just sitting there with a big old hot mac on my lap. You spent as much time in the gym as you did making pesto. You could be Mr. Universe. That's all I ever see, drilling out your mouth is pesto or basil leaves sticking out your pocket. Oh, weird. Mike's going to teach everybody how to use butter. Yeah. That's so weird. I can hardly believe it. Guy will spend three hours making his sauce, but he can't go to the gym. For 20 minutes. That's all you need. Kim, did you hear that SOB talk for 20 minutes today?
About how to... Just thinking about it makes me want to throw up. Actually, don't even ask me about it. I don't know how the show remains part of it. I can't. Sorry. It's just that when I talk about him, it's... I picture him when he gets off work, laying there just sucking down basil leaves, pesto, just eating butter. Do you think he's in the nude? Mike, tell him how you really do it. You take a stick of butter, you shove it in your mouth. You take a basil leaf, you shove that in your mouth. Then you take a clove of garlic, you shove that in your mouth. And then you take pine nuts and you just... That's your mortar and pestle in your mouth. Insert loaf of bread. Yeah, mortar and pestle, Mike. You call it your mouth. It's paint there, pestle. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Show them how it's done, Mike. Gosh. Beats us up. Leave mother to cook the chicken anymore. Be honest. Just eat it here. Lava rock my foot.
You got feathers sticking out of your mouth. You got a talon flying out of there. You know it. You know it, Mike. You know it, Mike. Just a heap of basil butter. Hey, what are the chances I can get you guys to come over Sunday night for pesto? Sunday night? What time are you going to have dinner? Three? How about four? What if I did four o'clock? Will you go? Well, you're in bed by six. Look at L.A.B. Look at L.A.B. Think of anything. Think of anything. Let me check with the wife, but it sounds good to me. I will check, too. I also have an appearance, but it's from noon to two, so I'm good. I can make it. Okay, we're doing it. Oh, Rebecca's going to say, nah, she'll be all right. Get her on the phone. We'll do it on the air, because that's always better. If I put her on the spot, and I put her in a position, then she's always good. Easy. Adult show. And then L.O.B. gives me, you sell-donged me yesterday. I didn't do it on purpose. And it was on Sunday. So let me get this right. Your phone got the tuck back from Woods. Yes. And then L.O.B. sent you. I know it. He just gets, like, just killed. Gosh, darn. It's not going to stop there, so. Woods. Oh, yesterday.
You know what he sent me yesterday? Oh, gosh. Oh, my gosh. Picture of his turd. No. You know what he sent me? This is his thing. He pauses TV and takes a picture of his screen and sends it to me. He took a picture of Charlize Theron. As Eileen Wuornos in the movie Monster giving herself a horse bath in the bathroom. And she's got her arm up and she's got a brown paper towel and cleaning the pits. And her hair is all wet and like combed back with a comb. And she's like... And he pauses it, takes a picture of it, and he sends it to me. Now, I'm in a business meeting with BMW Encinitas yesterday, and my phone goes, bing, bing. Oh, no. And I ignore it. And if you ignore it, about five minutes later, it goes, bing, again. And I go, sorry about that, excuse me. And I take it out, and I look, and I go, bing, bing.
I feel like that's identical L.O.B. in 10 years. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Let's hope not. You are a monster. Gross. You better get married quick. You better get married quick then. I guess so. I have a debate for you because I'm listening to this right now and it's sweet music to my ears and L.O.B. can't stand it. It's ridiculous. I have a question. And then we'll just go into break with this question. There are way more talented male musicians than female musicians. Is that even a debate? What? I mean, really? You get your list together, I'll get mine. 5701949. I want to see Jimmy Fallon in concert. Me too. I would go see him if he did this. Like at the whiskey or something. Yes. Where the Doors used to play. Yes. Killer. I love the scream part. I know.
I've never seen The Doors, the movie. Oh, you haven't? You would hate it. You would have liked it about 10 years ago. Not if it's directed by Oliver Stone. Oh, yeah. I forgot your bit. He hates Oliver Stone. He will not watch JFK. Because he's a liberal? No, because he makes stupid movies. That one wasn't stupid. Neither was Wall Street. You gotta see Wall Street. The acting is always terrible in his movies. Not in Wall Street. Freaking Gordon Gekko. Come on. It's one of Val Kilmer's only good movies. Yeah. He's a bit of an overactor in it, a little bit. Yeah, but I think Morrison was. Morrison was an extreme dude. Very theatrical. Yes. 5701949 is our phone number. My wife is on the line. Hi, babe. Hi. How are you?
I'm good. How are you? I'm good. Hey, you know how sometimes I do things without thinking? I'm very impulsive. I think that's the word. Impulsive? Yes. Were you listening earlier? I was not. Okay. I've been playing outside with the kids. Okay. Well, I invited L.O.B. and Jay and Woods over on Sunday night, and I was going to make pesto. Oh, well, we're going to Yo Gabba Gabba on Sunday. Okay, perfect. Well, there you go. And so, scene. I'd already cleared my schedule. That's probably why you should check with me before. Yeah, I probably should do that. Probably why we should move past the impulsiveness. Yep, yep. Probably a good idea. Check things out first. Look at that. I'm looking at my calendar, and it actually says it on my calendar, Yo Gabba Gabba 2 p.m. That was hard to do. And then there's a party afterwards. Oh. We're not going to be home until bedtime. There's a party in my tummy. Uh-huh, exactly. What do you mean there's a party? Oh, there's this Gabbaland party thing that we're going to go to. Meet and greet. So we're going to see the show, and then we're going to go to the Gabbaland party. Have fun. I'll be at home watching football. The heck are you talking about a Gabbaland party? You get to meet the characters. No. You get to meet them?
Yep. DJ Lance is going to be spinning. Yep. This is DJ Lance. I'm so glad he did come to the meeting. Hang on a second. Hang on a second. Rebecca vehemently disagrees that DJ Lance would ever talk this way. No, he doesn't talk that way. He doesn't. He's hip. Yeah, yes. He is hip. He is hip. Yeah. He's totally hip. He's retro. Yes. Oh, yes. And he's hetero. Oh, you guys think he talks like... No, he doesn't talk. Oh. He doesn't talk. Yeah, he does. Does he talk? He talks all the time. His movements are a bit flamboyant. Oh, boy. So movements define a person. Oh, boy. I'm going to be labeled a gay basher now. Again. Again. He's a performer. He's a kid, you know. At heart. And he's supposed to be, you know, over the top. It's like the guy from Blue's Clues. Yeah, all of his... Wait a minute. Exactly. The dude from Blue's Clues doesn't seem like... Or the Wiggles. Yes, he does. He does not. It's that, like, childish sort of, like...
Hey. No guy would actually act like that in person because they're trying to relate to kids. Hey, listen. I think you just say that because you wear spandex, like tight orange spandex. No, because I'm wearing that right now, babe. That wouldn't define it. Yours are purple. Mine are purple. Well, and I've had girls, and girls have good gaydar. I've had girls, because we talked about this once, say, oh yeah, DJ Lance, for sure. For sure. No. Yeah. There's no indication of that. Okay. All right. Anyway, so yeah, we can do it Sunday, but maybe let's talk about it. Yeah. Let's book it. And then we'll plan on to have everybody over. There you go. That'd be great. I love you. I love you. Love you. See you, sweetie. Bye. Bye. See you, sweetie. He knows it, dude. Hey, you know what's kick-ass, though, is you'll get to see approximately... 15 minutes of the Charger-Bear game on Sunday. At the den. At the Bears' den. My guess is you won't be missing much. Yeah. Well, the Bears are getting hot right now and the Chargers are not. Yes. It's the wrong time for the Chargers to have to face them. Freaking must win already. Must win. It could be worse. It could be Green Bay. That's true. Oh, boy. That's true. It could be worse for us.
Do you know if it's an early game? 115. It is? Yeah. Good. Let's see. 5701949. M1 screenwriter from Temecula. Hey. What's going on? First of all, men definitely the most talent musically. What? There's a lot more. There's a lot more of them. It's undeniable. There's a lot more of them because we've been held back. That's what I was going to say. Jay! Women weren't allowed to participate. We're a little bit behind the eight ball, but we'll get back. Does Jay ever say things to garner the praise of an audience? No, and to ingratiate himself with the audience. Yes, you guys are just trying to attack me for my beliefs. And then we'll go off the air, and he'll probably go, hey, listen. I can't name one GD free man. I can too. That has any musical talent. Fire away. Ann Murray. Hey, listen, LLB. It's his go-to. Okay. There's a reason. We have a muse, and that muse is women. Nice try. It's true. Some composers were gay. Yeah, but they had a muse. Did they? Yeah. Was it a woman? Yes. No. Maybe it was a guy, but they still had a muse. It's a muse. Women sing about heartbreak, and nobody knows heartbreak better than a woman. That's true.
Why is Jay fighting this fight? You guys are thinking of only guitar, by the way. No, we're not. Which men are usually... How about Mozart? Mozart's a composer. Back then, women weren't allowed to do anything. They didn't let him do plays. They had men do the women parts. Woods, back then... Women were not allowed to be composers like all the famous women composers of today. Oh, yeah. How many composers can you name of modern day? John Williams. Kenny G. No, no, no. I'll name some. I'll name some. Okay. You know John Williams? John Williams. There is... Edward Furlong? No, no, no. I'm being serious. He's being serious. John Williams does... I know exactly. Musical scores. Yes. Who else do I like? I mean, I have these albums. Wow. John Debney. You're the one. You just prefer men's taste. That's what it is. No, the LLB. I mean, the numbers are staggering. We're behind the eight ball. Yeah. Okay, but the numbers are staggering, right? Are they? I don't know. Show me the empirical data and I'll tell you. What's that? That was you talking back to you. That was my annoying voice. Artists of today. I mean, think about it. There's more women today artists. Yep.
Why do you guys love Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus and Michelle Branch? Because of their boobs. Do you? Yeah, let me show you the picture. You can't hear their boobs. 570-1949. You can't hear their boobs. By the way, I want to state that I am not giving an opinion one way or the other. Yes, you are. Oh, wow. You hate women. Why do you hate women? You think women can't direct films? And you're dug in just because you are a woman. No, I'm saying that we have just as much talent. L.O.B. just said, you hate women. You do. Yeah. And I love them. I do not. You do. For the record. I don't. You hate women. I love. Why are my friends women? That's true. So you can objectify them and make fun of them. So I can point and laugh? Yes. Yes. Woman. I mean, look at your boobs and that's what you're here for. I get along better with women than I do with men. Because you can. Isolate. Subordinate them. No. I enjoy their company. Not necessarily their musical composition skills. Or their acting, or their directing, or their political commentary. I once hired a female comedian. So there. So you could balance the scale so you wouldn't look like the chauvinist that you are. How dare you? How dare you?
And Jay, how dare you, you SOB lying SOB. I do not lie. I don't believe you. Hey, listen. I love women. Ann Murray. Ann Murray. Ann freaking Murray. A performer from the 1970s. Right, yeah. So the most relevant singer he could think of is three decades older. Hey, I love him too, dude. Loretta Lynn, Stevie Nicks. Love him. Absolutely love him. Okay, so define musical talent then. What are you guys thinking of? Well, I thought the question was, what are there more of? No, it wasn't. Yeah, here's the statement. Are you ready? There are more talented male musicians than females. That's exactly it, and yes, there are. So musicians is anything. It has anything to do with music, singing or whatever. Guitar, piano. I don't believe that there are more male than women. I don't either. That's a fault. Do you believe this? Do you believe that there are more female musicians that are talented than men? More talented female? Yes. I actually do. I think there's a lot more women that can sing. I think that they have the perfect pitch. I think more women have it than men. I think more men are tone deaf. A lot of men want to be rock stars. So there's a ton more guys out there with bands and stuff because they all think that the guitar is an extension of their manhood. So there's a lot of guys out there that want to be rock stars. She even did the hand motion. Worked on you. Doesn't mean that they're talented. No, I didn't know Matt was a musician when I met him. Didn't you? No.
570-1949. M1 Samantha from Spring Valley. Hi. Hi. I just wanted to kind of root for the women. Yeah. Women. Weird. Yes, roar. I was in choir in high school for all four years. And tone deaf men are way more. prominent than women. You know what else are made more prominent than women? Talented musicians. But when you have a woman who can hit a high C, a man could never do that. You have all these women in the music industry who have these incredible ranges. Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey. They are unicorns, you know? Preach on, sister. They are those people who men don't have that kind of talent when it comes to singing. Yeah, Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant. Those guys are freaking terrible. There's exceptions. There's exceptions, absolutely. But when it comes to pure just vocal talent, I feel like... Okay, fine. Vocals, maybe. How about guitar? How about drums? How about bass? How about piano?
How about composer? How about composing? What about cello? What about violin? What about the clarinet? Music that people listen to. Oh, come on. Now you're making the rules. How about the skin flute? What about harp? What about harp? Okay, you got to. With the harp. With the harp, I'll give it to you. I heard you. Good. What about triangle? Tambourine. Tambourine. Fine, L.O.B. I will give you the. I know who this is. Oh, wait. No, I don't. It doesn't matter if you listen to it. Or anyone. Oh, come on. Somebody does. I'm sure someone knows who this is. So what? It's probably a guy. So you're going to say because you don't know who that is, that's not talent. You guys are buffoons. Listen, and you know what, Ella B? What about this? I'll bet there's more talented male violinists than cello players. Ask Yo-Yo Ma what's up. Yeah. Just walk up to Yo-Yo Ma and go, what's up? What's up, dude? What's up, dude?
What's up, dude? Just running circles around these bros. I'll ask Yo-Yo Ma. You ask Yo-Yo Ma. You ask. I asked Yo-Yo Ma last night. That's what Yo-Yo Ma said last night. Yo-Yo Ma's so fat. That's not what Yo-Yo Ma said last night when I was in bed with her. Yeah. Yo-Yo Ma. It's a futile argument. It is not a futile argument. I just debated you. I think it's even. I believe that when L.O.B. is going to bed tonight, in the back of her mind she'll go, They were right. No, she will not. The most of the music that I listen to, vocally, females. Ditto. Ditto. M1 Roberts from Escondido. Yes, sir. What do you think? I was going to say that success is kind of like a key to talent, and there's a lot more successful women artists than the best-selling women. artists are all women, like Beyonce. Yeah, Robert! How do you know that? Where are you getting that statistic? He works for Billboard. Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson. Yeah, I mean, where do you get that stat? You're naming people that are legends. And some are dead. You know, there's a lot of cars on the road, but there's only a few Lamborghinis. Yeah, that's right, brother. So are you telling me that Celine Dion has sold more records than Elvis or Michael Jackson?
She's sold more than... What about Lady Gaga? Lady Gaga. Madonna, Ray Carey, Whitney Houston. Madonna. Yeah, okay, Madonna doesn't have a good voice, but she has talent. Yeah, she has a package herself. That is true. She's a good marketer. Pink, Gwen Stefani. All these people have sold more records than Maroon 5. Yeah. Please don't let me in with those guys. There's got to be. And there's like five of those dudes against one girl. Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Doors. There's got to be a way. You're naming fans. Don't you think that there is a way for us to actually count them? Well, there's more bands that are out there that are guys. Like I said, all the guys, they want to be rock stars. I think we outnumber you. In fact, I bet we outnumber you. And Hillary, when you come in, please, these statements. I'm just reading. I'm reading from. It's something that Woods typed up. All these words are not mine. All these words are not mine. Hillary's going to come in here and slit my throat. Yeah, I'm leaving it. We should get a composer or a conductor on the line and see what the orchestra is made out of. Is it mostly men? Mostly men. How do you know that? We go to a lot of orchestras. Yeah, we're at a lot of concertos. That's because it's still an old school, antiquated art form.
I don't, whatever. M1JMama from Escondido, are you there? How are you guys? Good. Okay, so I have an extension of this theory. So I was a psych major, and we were always talking about how mathematical and scientific ability is directly related or correlated to musical ability. So if you go take a step further, Jay and Wiz, do you guys think that... men are better at math and science? No, we didn't say that. I didn't say that. You said musical. I said music. I love women. So you can't trap us on that one. So you can't even put Jay, he's lying to you and telling you that he's not on our side, but he's... Yeah, he is. No, is that true? Yeah, guarantee the mics will go off and we'll say Jay. You really think that? Hell no. No men are better than you. Check my iPod. Are you asking me? Come on. Hey, how many chicks are in Arcade Fire, Mike? A bunch. All right. You got me there. One or two, I think. But if you look at the studies and say that mathematical talent is directly correlated to musical talent, then how can you argue that one is different than the other?
Because math is different than playing a guitar. Understanding the composition, like composing music, is definitely intertwined with mathematics. Definitely. And ability to play music, ability to understand how to play a piano, how to play guitar. Well, I play guitar, and I'm freaking terrible at math. I couldn't be worse. But you know all those, there's a lot of girls. Well, wait, I'm going to let J-Mama list off. Her top five female shredders on the guitar. You're talking about one thing. Ready? Go ahead. Best five. Top five. Top three. Top three. Musicians. Musicians. Top three shredders. Top three drummers. Tori Amos. Top three female drummers. Oh, Sheila E. Yes. Oh, I forgot. Sheila E. The old Sheila E. Tori Amos is better on the piano than Elton John. You're a clown. There it is. You're a clown. You're a clown. I don't know that to be true. You're a clown. Oh, my gosh. Ella B, name five Tori Amo songs. My gosh. Fake bit. How dare. Fake bit. Okay. Come on. Caught a Light Sneeze, A Sort of Fairy Tale, Little Earthquakes. Booyah. Boys for Pele. That's an album. That is an album. Yeah, I got you. I know my stuff, too. Jay, how dare you with your booyah. Booyah. Elton John is way better.
A hundred times. It's Elton John. Nope, she's better. What's this? Tori Amos. Oh, come on. This song? Some great expectations. Experimental world music. Do Little Earthquakes. That's so good. What? It's a regular tiny dancer. Sorry, it's no deaf tones. That's exactly true. That's a true statement. Nobody sings like that guy. Different strokes. Different folks. Jay, you shut your mouth. Jay, what are you doing? You know you don't believe that. He's so full of crap. I believe Jay. No, you don't. I do. Check my iPod. I've been in the car with you for 15 hours, and you weren't jamming out to the freaking runaways. That's because I was trying to make sure you didn't try to unplug my iPod and plug your stinking iPod in. He was listening to Company of Thieves the last time I was in his car. That's right. What Tori Amos song? Try Little Earthquakes. It's a song. All right. Let's see how great she sounds on the guitar.
No, it's a piano clown. Piano clown? She's better. Yep, better than nothing. You can't even say it! You can't even say it! You can't even say it! She is. How dare you! She's a beast. Well, you're getting the samples. Music to hang yourself by. Yeah, Bjork just called and said, this is terrifying. Shut your mouth. Hey, this is Bjork. I don't know. Oh, yeah. Listen to her just pounding away at that. Just shredding. Just shredding those keys. You're coming in in the middle of a sample. She is just shredding those keys. She will. Elton John could play this onto his feet. With his butt cheeks. She can play two pianos at the same time. Yeah. She can play with her woman parts, and she has. Has she? Yes, on stage.
Elton John has made love to a man and played the piano at the same time. Dazzy. Truth of the matter is, he probably has, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he's better at the piano than Tori Amos. I don't know, that takes some focus. Some serious focus. All I know is that when L.O.B. started to say it again, she began... What are you talking about? She began to laugh. I did not. Or call Mikey now, 570-1949. More coming up on FM 94.9.

They will eat my edamame if I leave it out too long. On FM 94.9. Can't see too well. Is that Tori Amos? Oh, actually, it's not. She could play that in her sleep. So, off the air. She'd have to. Off the air, just to make his point, Jay goes, I'm serious. I made it. And L.O.B. goes, I believe him. I do. I believe him. Sweet kid, L.O.B. No, it's a sweet kid. You're not serious. Just because he doesn't hate women.
Doesn't he? He's called all women whores. He said pregnant women shouldn't get any special treatment. LOLJ. LOLJ, you're so funny. That's true, he did say those things. Say I speak my mind. Do you? I appreciate women. Yeah, for sex, making sex too. No, they're lovely creatures. And I like to look. And I like to touch. And I like to touch. Oh, gosh. Let's just be serious. Woods listens to Adele, Katy Perry, Nora Jones. But he listens to way more male musicians. That's because he likes to rock out because he's a guitar player. Not necessarily. Ryan Adams, he doesn't rock out. Yeah, Summer 69 cuts like a knife. Ryan Adams and Dallas Green both sing like girls. Dallas Green. Ryan Adams doesn't. He's got a low voice. I don't actually know what Ryan Adams sounds like. I've never heard a single song. Woods and Ryan's parents are the only ones. Yeah, he's only the third best album on Billboard right now. And he's been written up in magazines and Esquire and GQ this month. Rolling Stone. He was in that documentary you saw. Now you're going to get stabbed.
That was harsh. Jay does not believe it. I totally believe it. Why do you lie, liar? Why isn't he allowed to think that? I think women have been held back, for sure. We got a late start on it. Same thing's happening with comedy and acting. You just wait. I made a film yesterday. You did? That's right. I'm speechless now. It was funny. At the end, he did an elevator. It was funny. Up until then, what did you talk about? Makeup, putting your makeup on, tampons, purses, shoes, all that. Sorry it's not a chocolate bar from Hungary. How is the Mikey Minute going? Daily feature on your Facebook page? Every day after the show.
Women stick to it. Yeah. Stick-to-itiveness. Oh, she just effed herself. She's going to have to do it every day. I didn't say I was going to do it every day. Oh, you better stick to it. I didn't claim that I was going to do it every day. Oh, yes, you did. Mine's going to be a special treat. Why are you wearing a t-shirt that says, I will do a blog every day? I do blog. I'm not going to do a vlog. Man. You guys are just... I am genuinely concerned that my friend Hillary... Now I'm leaving. You should be. You should be. It was Wood's idea. It was Mikey's idea. She's going to come in here with skewers and make testicle kebabs. It's true. It's true. Oh, man. At 9.51, I'm walking out and I'm going to go sit in that office. And you think I'm kidding, but I'm not. Do your work. Do you know what this genuinely, like right now, I genuinely feel like, you know when your mom goes,
When your dad gets home. Oh, yeah, I know. That's exactly how I feel. Can we call her? Can we call her? Let's defuse it. Can we defuse it? Yeah, please. Why? She might not even be listening. If she's not listening, don't call her. Hillary, if you're listening, call in and tell them that they're chauvinists. Oh, no. Listen. It's just a bit. Yeah, it's a bit. It's just a bit. Babe, I'm just joking. The mics went off and you guys were like, you agree, L.O.B. Say it. Say it, you stupid female. You have a mind of your own. Repeat after me. She goes, L.O.B. goes, oh, yeah, I guess I just don't have a mind of my own. And I go, L.O.B., what did you say? I said, I do have a mind of my own, you know. And I go, L.O.B., that is too far. Now you've gone. Next thing you know, you'll say that you have the right to vote. You're going to be wanting to vote. You're going to do all that stuff. And I'm allowed to work even though I'm here on your payroll.
For now, at least. Oh, my gosh. Let's see. M1 Drew from... You're living in the Central Coast and you're listening online? Yeah, exactly. Right on. Yeah, I thought it'd be important to go through the list of best-selling artists of all time. Let's hear it. All right, number one, The Beatles. Okay. Number two, Elvis Presley. Okay. Number three, Michael Jackson. Okay. Number four, Madonna. Okay. Number five, Elton John. Top five, four out of five are men. Okay, well, I want to make two points. Oh, and number six, Led Zeppelin. I want to make two points. Number eight, Queen. Wow, that's half and half. You skipped seven. What was seven? Number seven was Queen then. And number eight? ABBA. That's men and women. Men and women. By Curious. And then comes Pink Floyd.
ACDC. Rolling Stones. Oh my gosh. Come on, dude. I mean. First of all, best selling doesn't always mean the most talented. Hey, you just. The jig is up. You heard it. You heard it with your. The jig is up. You heard it with your own ears. Number two, women I said are behind the eight ball. Let's look at 2011. Let's look at 2010. You're talking about of all time. He's just talking about of all time. I'm talking now. Yeah. That's all time. You know. No, we weren't. Women back even in the 50s, they had to be part of an all-female doo-wop group or be part of a male's band. So then where are all the female drummers? Right. Bass players? Right. Guitarists? We are behind the eight ball. They're available for purchase anywhere. Exactly. You can walk into any store and buy one of these things. And they have been able to for a long time. I mean, you can. Okay. Well, where are all the male... Tracy Chapman, very good guitarist. Very good guitarist. She is. Lauren O'Brien. She is. You're going to throw out Tracy Chapman. She's not a shredder. As a very good. She is. Yeah, she knows six chords. She shreds. Tracy Chapman. Okay, so. Sorry she's no Ryan Adams. That's true. Wait a minute. We offer Eddie Van Halen. You give. You offer Tracy Chapman. I wouldn't listen to Eddie Van Halen if you paid me.
I don't believe that. I believe I could pay you to listen to Eddie. That's actually true. I think you could, yeah. But that would be like if I were to torture people and play loud music, I would play things like ACDC and Eddie Van Halen to get them out of the house. Well, since it's 9.40 and in approximately 10 minutes my friend Hillary's coming in, I would officially like to say that... L.O.B. has swayed me. Shut your smug mouth. She has given me food for thought. Shut it. Which is a lot of food. You come at me tomorrow with your favorite male harpist. You come at us with your favorite female harpist. That girl that came in here when EBW was here. Yeah, she was great. She was awesome. My favorite cello player is Jarena Chang. Oh, really? Your favorite. Well, tell me about the other ones that aren't your favorite. Who's a close second? Don Nichols. But he's clearly inferior. He's got hammer hands. Don Nichols. My favorite cello player.
My favorite. Yeah, I know one. Because I have six that are like in my top six. Diana Chang. What's her name? Serena Chang. That's right. Serena Chang. She's got all her albums. I do. Well, her demos are better. Just move on. Her sophomore effort. You guys, just because you listen to hard metal rock. I listen to everything. Let's do air guitar. Identical. You guys just want to be rock stars, so you just look up to these other males that dress in women's clothing. Oh, my God. Janis Joplin. Well. I'm just glad that you made that argument because you've changed my opinion. And you've changed mine too. Musician doesn't only mean guitar player. That is a true statement. You are right 100%. You are right with that one sister. This is a great example of a male artist. Yeah, he's one of your favorites. Flamboyant Adam Levine whistling. Oh, that's great. Pop it in. Turn it on.

We're just battling against centuries of oppression, so we'll catch up. Hey, by the way, ladies, Guitar Center. Well, they won't oppress you. That's right. You can walk right in there today. I'm sure there's a lot of little girls being encouraged by their dads. If I had a little girl, I would. Would you? 100%. You'll never be as good as your brother, but you should play. M1 Harold from San Marcos. Hi. There's a band called Skillet. I'm sure you've heard of them. Yes. They killer female drummer. That's right. Okay, so is she better than Neil Peart? Thank you, Harold. Thank you. That answered it. That answered it. Alex Van Halen. You're not saying the best musician is a female or a male. Okay, cool. Name me six more. Hey, Hillary's going to be walking in here. Oh, I know. What are you doing? What are you doing? You handle it. You guys want to fight? Name me six more. You handle it.
Doc me 10 minutes, Pam. You doc me 10 minutes, Pam. So this Friday we're doing a show us your cans at Dave & Buster's. Yes. For homeless men and women. Yeah. Hungry homeless men and women. It all goes to San Diego Food Bank. That's the best place to insert humor. We want to thank Mikey for lending us his scale, his heavy-duty scale from his bathroom. It's not. It's actually not Mikey's scale. It's not. It's actually that heavy-duty scale. What's a scale? Paul over at San Diego Scale Company. Is he the guy who provides you yours? Is this a testimonial for him? I don't use an industrial scale to weigh myself. Why would you, really? I just use a regular scale, you know, Jay. But Paul over at San Diego Scale Company. Your good friend. Can help you out. And he's going to be helping us out on Friday. Everybody that brings cans out there is going to get a $10 power card. And the person that brings the most cans. But if you're a woman, don't let the power go to your head. How dare you? How dare you? Because it's a power card only in David Mustard, not in the real world. What do they win? What's the person who brings the most? What do they get? Well, first of all, they get four tickets to the Hootenanny.
Four tickets to the Hootenanny. Four tickets to the Hootenanny. You also get limo. Yeah, limo. You get limo. And you get limo. It's Hillary. Limo. You get tickets to memorabilia. A $500 party to Dave and Buster's. That's right. A $500 party at Dave and Buster's. Yep. Oh, God. So thank you to Paul. She's living. She's sweating. She's sweating. It, like, makes my stomach cry. His idea. It was his idea. His idea. Hillary? I said better. And he goes, I said better. You never said better. And then he wants to come in with his chauvinistic stuff. And I go, gosh. You should have heard them when the mics were off. How dare you? That is not true. That is not true. I could never be you, L-O-P-I. Doug, I have so much respect for you for sitting in here. Despite the oppression, I'm trying to rise above. That's right. And I'm hoping that my daughters and my granddaughters won't have to face the same kind of stereotypes. It's the kind of thing that, why are they going to try to live up to something that people are just going to tell them they're no good at? Why do you lie? Liar. Jay. No.
He's trying to make a better world for the women that follow. I have two daughters, and I hope they don't live to see this. Oh, God. I want them to, you know, fight the good fight. Well, I'm speechless now. Hey, hell dog. So. It's just. I mean, I'm like so mad. Don't you know that we do it to get a rise? We just do it to get a rise. I was like walking over here so fast. Sweet or Kenny? Bikini kill. I knew the ones you would say. I knew it. I seriously, I felt like when dad's coming home and you know you're in trouble. You know you're in trouble. You know it. You're in your room. You're like, F word, F word, F word. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. Maybe she wasn't listening. Maybe she was jogging. Maybe she was dropping her kid off. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. Her daughter. Woods goes, I am. God. Her daughter. Her daughter. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Well, I'll tell you this.
Helping out the hungry this Friday. I am excited to be helping. Heck of a deal, isn't it? We'll also give a shout out to the autistic kids that I play music with on Monday nights. How about you? Let's just hope there's no girls in that group or else Woods is not going to support them. Oh, gosh. There aren't, but you're welcome to come on in. Just know that you won't ever be as good. You guys, I wish you could. I should film it sometime, like bedtime stories at our house. Yeah. When I read fairy tales and things to my daughter, I am. Like every five seconds. Now she's like, mom, just read it. Cause I'll be like, really? Would Cinderella really fall in love with someone she just met? Every night. No way. Yes. We talk about it. We discuss it. I'm like, you know. Glass slipper. Oh, yeah. Oh, and I leave stuff out all the time. Do you? Oh, yeah. I love it, Hill. You're passionate about it. It's all focused on beauty and stuff. And I say, you know what, honey? This is a fairy tale. You never would marry somebody you just met and go live with them in their castle. We should rewrite them, Hill. That is a million-dollar idea. And there are. You know what? There are books like Princess Smarty Pants. I already own it. There's the Paper Bag Princess. There's all these books.
You know, in my pen name, I actually wrote Princess Sporty. Yes, my teaching kid. He wrote it. You're like, here, I'm going to read you. There are all kinds of books that turn it all on a tip. I'm going to read you a story. It's called The Anarchist Cookbook. And I want you to sit down and tuck yourself in. That's right, sweetheart. No, I mean literally. Tuck yourself in. 570-1949. That's fantastic. My girl. Oh, man. It's all good. See, she can be anything she wants. Of course she can. Here's our deal. Here's me and Woodsy. We just know. I just know what works. We just know how to get a rise. I know what's going to get you. I think you guys know when I come in sometimes and I'm silent. Yeah, we know. Because I don't want to jump in. Of course. I know you guys. I know you do it. All that counts is what's in there. That's right. That's right. A hatred. No, you meant boobs. Yeah, boobs. For women is what you guys have inside your heart. No way. We saw that today. Yes. How dare you? How dare you? My best. friends are women. It's like saying my best friend is a woman. Her name is Jamie Woods. I also happen to be married to her. You also believe you're better than her. At what?
Everything. No. There's so many things she's better than me at. She's a better cook. She's better cleaner than me. She irons better than me. She irons better than me. Holy cow. Holy cow. It takes brass. I'm joking. Hillary, put the guitar down. Do not hit him with it. You see, pal, that's who I am and you're nothing. You see, pal, that's who I am and you're nothing. She's better with the dogs. There's no question she's going to be a... Way better parent than I am if we ever have kids. Clearly. She's awesome. And that's very sweet. It's very, very sweet. Well, Hill, I'll remember Hill Dog the rest of my life. That was funny. Hill Dog. All right, well, other than that, how are you doing? I'm great. You're gorgeous today. Is it okay to say that? No. Very nice. Yes. I'm not. As long as you tell us all. That's how I've gotten this far in my career. Oh, God. Oh, God. See? See? See? It's the only way. 20 years on the radio. That's the only way. So I dress up every morning. See? You can't. I am so glad. I just realized. Oh, I'm sweating. I've always been a fan of Hillary's.
And so at least I have that to fall back on. I could be like, Hill, you know I don't hate women. I always called you to tell you how much I love you. You did. You've been very supportive for a long time. Her looks didn't hurt. Now we're monsters for things to be attractive. Now we're monsters because she's good looking. Now we have to question your motives. Oh, my God. In everything you guys do. Everybody knows you like a nice wreck. Oh, my God. Oh, Jane. I didn't hear what he said. So here's what I'm going to play today. What have you got? Florence and the Machine. PJ Harvey. And the list goes on. Fiona. Metric. Matt and Kim. Matt and Kim. The lovely. Talented. The talented and lovely. The talented and talented. Talented and talented. See you tomorrow morning at six. She said that! Unbelievable! Oh, my God! Yeah!
