Later they announced the Holiday Hootenanny, played Mikey Morning Quarterback NFL trivia, recounted the Dave & Buster's canned‑food‑drive scream, and debated the UC Davis pepper spray protest.

Oh, I forgot to do Reading Rainbow. That had been our opening song. Woodsy had the idea to use Reading Rainbow as our opening song, and I actually really like the idea of it. There you go. I can go twice as high. A beehive. Kula hooping. Beehiving. Why are you pointing it? Because I'm wearing white Daisy Dukes and I'm dressed as a cowgirl. Stop pointing at me. And I'm coming at you with my... You're sure to get me. Oh, no. I'm Miss August. I'm trying to get you in the mood, bro. I'm in the mood. Are you? Yeah. All right. I'm ready to rock. I am Megan. And today's date is tattooed on my arm because my brother's birthday is today.
And I already talked to that guy. Say hi to him. HBD. That's right. It's a real happy birthday. It's a real happy birthday. Just go ahead, Mike. Just tell people it's birthdays and it's your freaking thing. Happy birthday. Woodsy is our sports guy. He's got a... Perfect haircut going real good. Still PIT. It's a PHCIT. It's a PHCIT. It's not a perfect. It's a perfect haircut in progress. In training. In training. It's almost there. It's going to take about two weeks. Then watch out. Lauren O'Brien, otherwise known as L.O.B., is the cute blonde right over here wearing her Amelia Earhart jacket today. That's right. We're going flying later. Fresh out of the biplane. That's right. Hello, dear. And our producer is Jay. He's 48 years old. Hola.
He walked in today. He just looks sharp. Well, besides his sex pervert jeans, he looks pretty sharp. I don't have an issue with this. I know you guys think he looks a sex pervert in those jeans. I kind of like it. Everything he wears looks like something a teenager wears, except for those jeans. Those are dad jeans. They're billabong. Maybe that's it. Don't pull that bit with like, hey, these are cool because they're billabong. They're still creepy sex pervert jeans. Maybe they're not the right size. They're too light. That's right. Something is wrong with us. Something is wrong with you. They're so light. You've had them since 93. I like them, Jay. Thank you, thank you. And screening phones for us today is not Nicole. Where is Nicole? Traveling. Traveling, all right. Is she done for the week? Yeah. Since it's Thanksgiving? Nope, not here tomorrow either. Oh, wow. She's done. She's off for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving's Thursday. I cannot believe it. That happened fast. Really fast. So screening phone calls for us today is Alan. It's Alan. It's Alan. Hi, it's Alan. Hello, this is Alan. When you call, you'll notice that Alan is a very soft-spoken guy. Yeah, subdued. Yeah. And you will get to talk to him if you call into our show right now, 570-1949. You can text us, too, 949mikey at gmail.com. All kinds of stuff going on. Lee Corso.
Again with Lee Corso. Last week, NFL College Game Day on ESPN, they thought he made a Penn State little kid joke. He didn't. This time he actually dropped the F-bomb. We have the bleeped version of that coming up in a little bit. Word of the day is caller. When you hear me say caller, between now and... That just got me a minute. When you said it out loud, I was like, you say it differently than I do. How do you say it? Collar. Collar. Collar. Collar. This is why the English language is so hard for people that speak another language to learn. Because we have so many different words that are the same thing. And you're bound to say, hey, we'll take collar. Yeah. Let's change it to ancient. Good one. Ancient. Like the word would. It means, would you do this? It's also a piece of wood. It's also me. It's also our friend wood. It's also a golfer. Yes. All right. Or a golfer. A golfer. A golfer. A golfer. A golfer. All right. We're changing it to ancient. When I say that, between now and 10, caller numero nine will get hootenanny tickets. And a pair of sunglasses from Spy Optic. Look at that. And open phones. You can call about whatever you want right now.
570-1949. Thank you to M1s who came out to Dave & Buster's on Friday. The Mikey Show raised one ton of food. 2,000 pounds of canned goods for people for Thanksgiving that are less fortunate than us. I love that so much. Literally a ton. Literally a ton. No big deal, just a ton of food. I thought it was great and let me tell you, M1s are just such giving people. A ton of food says you're giving people. Yeah. There's no two ways about it. Let's see. M1 San Diego from San Diego. How are you? Good morning, Mikey. I'm doing great. How are you? Good. Hey, I was wondering why you guys don't open up with that Chargers song you guys love so much. You know, we only open with that when the Chargers win a game. I know. That's why you need to do it every time because you Fairweather fans. Need to be Chargers fans all the time, like us Raiders fans. How dare you, sir? How dare you? It's not funny! I knew you were going to do this. I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! How are those Chargers working for you, buddy? Please stop calling me. I don't want to hear it! It's not funny! Listen, it's one game, pal.
It's five games. Okay, it's five games. How dare you? It's five games. Five in a row. I'm not abandoning anybody. Nobody's abandoning anybody. I've abandoned my boy. No, I haven't abandoned my boy. I still love Phillip Rivers. I think he did a great job. I've abandoned my boy. No, I haven't. I've abandoned my child. Wow. Listen, these things happen, you know? I'm trying to keep a positive. you know, outlook on this. I don't know what to say. I picked the Chargers this weekend. I really thought, because everybody was going the way of the Bears, and they're playing in the Bear Den, as Jay calls it, the Bear Den. Everybody's picking the Bears, and I said, you know what, forget that. This is the weekend that the Chargers come out, guns firing, and show the world that they are They are not ready to give this thing up. And then they went out there and they did the exact opposite of everything that I thought that they would do. Yes. Yes, they did. They had the lead sometimes. Sometimes. They were up 3-0 at one point, which was nice. Yes, at one point we were leading by three actual points.
They didn't do it. They absolutely ganged. Yes. And this is how many games in a row? Five. Five straight. And this is where I really get upset. Well, listen. I want winners. If we don't make it to the playoffs. Playoffs? If we don't make it to the playoffs. Can't do it. What will happen to Norv Turner? Will he keep his job? Or will A.J. Smith let him go? I believe he's still under contract. And I believe that it has been said that he will finish his contract here. But you never know. I want people that want to win. You do? Me too. And play. That's a great idea. Yeah. Make some plays. It was ugly. Oh, how about the special teams? Cannot play with them.
Cannot win with him. Cannot coach with him. What are we going to do? It's kind of a, you know, you had offense, defense, and special teams. And there were times when the offense played brilliantly. There's times when the defense played brilliantly. There were times when the special teams played brilliantly. Yeah. But it just wouldn't all come together. No. And I don't know what is wrong with our quarterback, Phillip Rivers. I don't know. I've never seen a quarterback try to throw a ball away and not make it to the sideline and throw an interception. And then having a chance to get back in the game, throwing it a triple coverage in the end zone. I've seen it in high school. I wonder if he can get over it during the season or if it's one of those deals where it's in his kitchen. He's got 17 interceptions. 17 interceptions. 17. They have turned the ball over. What is that? They've turned the ball over two or more times in the last six games. Start puffing stuff with Teddy Ruxpin as an assistant. Yeah, they had in the fourth quarter, the fourth quarter, crunch time. Yeah. You know how many yards they had? How many? Zero. Oh. Offense. Zero. Again. They played a total of four plays in the fourth for zero yards. Again. Oh, no. He threw two picks. We suck again. Ryan Matthews killed us.
I mean, it's on him. He had the most costly fumble that you could have in that game. Fumbled again. They recovered it. And then he fumbled running down the sideline, driving down the score. Two fumbles? Two fumbles. He lost one. So they are 4-6. They were just 4-1. They're two games behind the Raiders, one back of Denver. Denver will be here Sunday. Denver's won three straight. Here is your head coach. Norvis Turner. There's a lot of things that happened today that our guys are going to be able to build on. He sounds Norvis. Obviously, we're not able to play a complete game. You know, we need to go find a way to play a complete game. He's so confidence-inspiring. I just want to run through a wall when I hear him talk. I feel like we've heard that exact speech for five weeks in a row now. Well, five years in a row. Five years in a row. Five years in a row. Five years in a row. It's been five years. It's ugly. It's ugly over in Charger land right now. And this is where I really get upset. It's bad. It's really bad. 31-20 is your final. There's nothing really to say about it. I mean, if you want to give input, you can. 5-7-0-1-94-9. But it is what it is. It's just bad. Yeah. You know, they have a lot of injuries. But this time of year, everybody has a lot of injuries. And, you know, Phillip Rivers was talking after the game, too, about...
what he thinks is going on. I remember if you look at the big picture, you can talk yourself into the tank. But if you just look at one game, one week, and we've got the Denver Broncos coming to town, division game, we get to play an NFL football game, you've got to be excited. I remember Phillip was the one that was kind of pissy about stuff, and he said, look, we're 4-1. It doesn't matter how we win games. I'm a believer in that. As long as you get the win, I don't care how you win it. We're 4-1, so everybody's settled down. Now you're 4-6. 4-6. Now you're 4-6. You've lost five in a row, which I believe hasn't happened since 2003, and they opened the season 0-5. Well, I'm not going to let that Raider guy be right. I'm going to continue to support this team. Absolutely. And Phillip. Yeah, and, you know, it's one of those things, man. You just don't know. I don't know what's going through that dude's head, but he was an MVP candidate. I love him. I do, too. He's great. But I wouldn't mind seeing a new face of the franchise, you know, as far as a head coach goes. Oh. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's probably time. I think it might be. It's probably time. Yeah. It's bad. No one, no, it doesn't seem like that's a sentiment. You know, I mean, I think it. You think it. I don't know if it's a sentiment. Oh, for North? Yeah. Oh, yeah, there's a website.
Oh, okay. Don't need to go there. I started with... I didn't know you knew code and you were just able to go online and just make websites and the whole thing. Went to GoDaddy. There you go. Next thing you know. 570-1949 is our phone number if you want to call us. There is a dead whale on the beach. Yes, there is. A 50-foot dead fin. washed up on the shore, and Lieutenant, what's his name, Buchanan says that they will not be able to remove it for a few days, at least until Tuesday. Why is the Lieutenant talking about it? A wash up by Miramar or something? No, he's a lifeguard. Oh, if you're a lifeguard, it's like Lieutenant, Sergeant, Captain, all that? That's what it says here. I didn't know that. I didn't either. Did you or what? No. They talked about towing it out to sea, but they would have to, once they got it out there, they'd have to destroy it, and he says it's not favorable. These whales could be up to 75 feet long and weigh up to 70 tons. It's a big one. I saw it. You saw it? I saw it on the news. What kind is it? They call it a fin whale. What is that? It's an endangered species for sure. They don't know what killed it. I saw it on the news. Yeah, it looks really... Probably styrofoam or something. I'll tell you what killed it. Oil that leaked into the Gulf of Mexico. You don't know that. I don't, but I like to...
But I sure do like to take stabs in the dark. You like speculate. Speculate. Didn't seem likely given the location. You know what didn't seem likely? Stabs in the dark. Never heard that phrase before. Just made it up. Never been used before. Stabs in the dark. Can you imagine being the guy that has to get this thing in a crane and put it in the back of a dump truck? Oh my gosh. How gross is that? It's disgusting. It's sad. It made me sad when I saw it. I know. It always makes me go. Makes me sad. That's a great whale noise. Uh-oh. What's he saying? He's saying that because I'm a whale. And I can speak it. Even though Jay just did the impression. Yeah. There's nothing sleepy and comforting about that noise. I don't care who you are. To me, it sounds like Nightmare on Elm Street 4. Yeah, it's the sound of Freddy's... Long nails scratching across the alley. You wake up in the middle of the night hearing that. You're scared to death. Of course you are. Oh, you sweet little angel. You haunted little dog. You haunted. You haunted fish. Mammal. Yeah, it's a mammal. Oh, it's a mammal. It's a mammal. It has lungs and feet, you know, so that's how you know the difference between a mammal and a fish. That guy.
You know, he can participate in equestrian. He can ride a horse and jump over it, you know. That's how you know the difference between a mammal and a fish. M1 Andrew from El Cajon. Hey, guys. I was setting up the Christmas tree this weekend. How dare. How dare. How dare. It's a little soon. It's a little soon. But I was thinking I need to get in the Christmas spirit. So I was curious if maybe we could get a sneak preview for what the M1s get to look forward to the day after Thanksgiving. Well, I know what you're getting at there, and I love you for it. I love you for bringing it up, and I'm glad that you did. Listen to me. You are a good man because you know that one week from today, it'll be the Monday after Thanksgiving. And what we do on the Monday after Thanksgiving, we do two things. One thing we do is we will play our O Holy Night. Yes. Thank you. And we can play it from the Monday after Thanksgiving. Until we leave for Christmas break. And it will be played. And the other thing that we do is we talk about the things that we are not allowed to talk about. Throughout the whole year. And those things are the poem that I wrote when I was an obese young man. 22 years old. I wrote a note to a girl that I saw that worked at a record store. Never dated her. Never dated her. Right here.
That's right. But it was so embarrassing. These are things in our lives that are so embarrassing that we cannot bring them up until the Monday after Thanksgiving. And then it's a free-for-all. For how long? Just that day? No, man. We got it until Christmas. Hey, listen. Until Christmas. Open season. And it's like season opens up. It's the first day of buck hunting. And you're out there just blowing them off. Now, then you got L.O.B. And her embarrassing thing is she sang Santa Baby. in the bathroom, sitting by the toilet. Not sitting by the toilet. Weren't sitting on the toilet. Sitting on the can. I went in there for the acoustics. For the acoustics. And she sang for her boyfriend, Matt Comers. She sang for him, Santa Baby, and sent it to him and asked him to never play for anyone ever again.
He shouldn't be allowed to play those. Oh, yeah. Because it ruins the story. Oh, man, it makes it great. And for our good friend Woods, his embarrassing thing that we'll be talking about and playing clips of is when we sent him out on one of his first assignments on the street to interview people. And he found a young woman to talk to. And it's kind of where the whole Woods likes underage girls things was born. Yeah. That and the truth. He talked to a girl named Taylor. And he was so enamored with her. And he didn't even notice it until we pointed it out. Was I? That he started to talk like her. His voice completely changed. His voice completely changed. And he became like a... He became an extra on Twilight, you know? So that he could relate. So that he could relate. And... Do I make you hony, by the way? Do we have anything for Jay or no? No. Oh, yeah, we do. Yeah, we do. Oh, yes, we do. Yes, we do. For Jay, one of the things... The thing that we go after is the embarrassing time that he made...
sexual comments about a girl that Woods had on his computer only to find out that the girl that he was making comments about was his own daughter. That's right. That's right. And he didn't realize it until he came into the room. And so we will be able to have a little fun making fun of that. I want to access the sound effects while we tell Jason. I know it. Absolutely. I know it. Absolutely. Eat it. It's going to be great. It's going to be great. It's going to be a fun day. It's going to be awesome. Hey, thank you for that. Hey, thanks very much, guys. Love you, guys. Love you. I might have listened to O Holy Night yesterday. See, I wait. At my home. I couldn't wait. I waited. I wanted it so badly, and I needed it. I want it so bad, too. Oh, my God. Cheater. I cheated. Oh, I wanted it, and I got it. It's like a shower when it's warm. And it was so delightful. Yeah. So delightful. It is. It's so good. The new Dracula movie. Yeah, Dracula 3. Yeah, Dracula 3. What's it called? 4, actually. Oh, Dracula 4. 4A. What's it called, LLB? Breaking Dawn. Breaking Dawn. That's the, it's Anne Rice, right? No. It's Stephanie Marshall. Yeah, Stephanie Marshall. It's Penny Marshall. Penny Marshall, the chick that used to be Laverne. Stephanie Semerhaler. Stephanie Seymour. Myers. Yeah, Stephanie Seymour. Stephanie Seymour Hoffman.
Stephanie Seymour Hoffman books. Twilight. It's Brad Pitt. It's Tom Cruise. It's that little red-headed chick. What's her name? Claire Danes? No. What are you thinking? I don't know. The vampire movie. Claire Danes wasn't in that movie. That's what I meant. Anyway, it's Breaking Dawn and it broke some records, right? Did it? Yeah, I think it did. They opened up and... There was lines around the building for people waiting for this breaking dawn. Twihards. Twihards, yeah. Twites. Twiple. Twits. Just out there. My wife is one of them. Went and saw it. She wants to see it again. She's just really into the Dracula stuff. What's the mentality behind not being able to just wait?
What is that? You're so excited. Oh, yeah. You wanted it two years ago. You wanted it eight years. You wanted it before you were born. And now it's out. Are you kidding? Midnight. You're willing to wait in line. You're willing to be in there with the crowd where you're not going to be able to hear it because people are going to be chomping and whispering and being like, that's why it's always in the book. I just don't know. I don't know. I see it the opposite way. I say you go in there and you're so wrapped up. You don't make a song with all the other hardcore fans. You're like with your people. Hardcore fans are the ones that are like, that didn't happen. All the twokes that are in there. All the other tweeple. The twiddiots. Yeah, the twiddiots. You're in there with a whole bunch of twiddiots and you guys are just all into it, you know? We got the audio of Lee Corso dropping that up on Lee. Where do you hang him up, pal? And we're also going to play Name That Tune. What's the theme, Jay? It's people eating and it's dinner scenes in movies. Oh. So I need the title of the movie. It's going to be a good one. It's a movie thing. It's a movie thing. All right. And what's the prize? Today's prize is a four-pack of tickets to SeaWorld. Oh. There you go. Bing, bang, booyah. 570-1949. Part of the Mikey.

The reason I've never been comfortable around kids, I'm always petrified they're going to go, you're short and fat. You don't skimp on hair products. You don't skimp on haircuts. You don't skip on DJs, designer jeans, and you don't skip on your teeth. Lauren. Yep, I admit when I'm wrong. And Jay. They will eat my edamame if I leave it out too long. On FM 94.9. Those Mexican apples you brought me are awesome. You like those? They're great. They're not Mexican. Are they just apples? Well, they're from Mikey. He calls them Mexican apples because they came from the tree that I got. They are so crisp and sweet. And sweet. It's just what I was looking for. And they don't have any junk on them. Listen to this. Ready? Ready to hear all crisp.
Need to put any junk on them? No, no pesticides. Bam! They're organic. Oh. Well, not officially organic. No. Of course they are. They're as organic as it gets, all of me. I don't know about that. There's a lot of standards you've got to follow before you start selling your apples, Mike. Yeah. Here's what organic means. There wasn't nothing put on those suckers except for water. What was in the ground, though? Nothing. How's your soil treated? Oh, my fertilizer, I mean, my soil would have to be, if I put potting soil, it'd have to be certified organic, wouldn't it? Before you start, I know you want to open up a stand. Because you want to be Johnny Apple. Yeah, before you call them organic. Easy, Johnny Apple. You know what I mean? How dare you? I've had some Mexican apples before, but these take the cake. How dare you? Have you had Mexican apples? Oh, yeah, plenty. I'm the first Mexican you've ever met. By the way, when Woods first moved here, he thought it was like...
bad to say the word Mexican. Yeah. Like I go, I'm Mexican. And off the air, he was like, dude, that's a trip, man. You can say that. Say Hispanic or Latino. Now he can't stop saying it. He thought it was like a derogatory term. Yeah. Now I'm like, oh, it's a cool Mexican microphone you got there. Yeah, exactly. Even though it was made in China. R-Factor is going on until noon today. Fox 5. I was doing a contest for your favorite radio personality in the morning, and I'm now in the finals. Yeah. And I'll be really glad when it's all over. Me too. I just want it to end. It ends today at noon, and so we'll post it right now on our Facebook wall, facebook.com slash Mikey Show. Finish strong. Yeah. You got to finish strong. Are they going to give you like a key to the city or something? Yes. Yeah, maybe Mayor Jerry Sanders will come in and give me a key to this city. You can get, like, a giant pair of scissors to open something up. Do, like, a hospital dedication or something. That's right. Word of the day is ancient. When I say it between now and 10 a.m., you get holiday hootenanny tickets if you're Caller 9 and a pair of sunglasses from Spy Optic. Lee Corso, he's already in hot water, and now he's in more hot water.
Listen to what happened to Lee Corso. Hot mic. Hot mic. Microphones open, Lee. Red, white, and blue. USA. Lee, you're on television. You're live on television, Lee. It's police coming to arrest him. It's the uncomfortable alarm. Wow. You are not supposed to do that, Lee. No. And then later, they told him what he did, and so he came on the air. Today on college game day, while picking the SMU Houston game, I got a bit excited and used an expeditive I shouldn't have used. I apologize, and I can promise it won't happen again. He's calling today. That's pretty rough. There's nothing going your way. He had a stroke and he has trouble speaking as is. Take it to the house, man. Go be with the grandkids. That means that you cannot get rid of him because then he'll sue you and say, can't get rid of me just because I had a stroke. You know what I mean? What about for saying the F-bomb? That we can get you for. What about making a joke about Penn State kids? He didn't make a joke. He was looking for the little kid.
He was. There was a kid that was supposed to hand him something, and that's when he made a mistake. Where's that kid? 5701949. M1 Boost from Dallas, you there? I am. How are you? I'm good. How are you guys doing? Good. You listening online? I'm on my phone, yeah. Nice. What's going on? Well, you guys were talking about the Twilight thing a little bit earlier, and I just thought I'd call and share my... miserable story. What happened? Well, you know, my fiance and all of her friends are Twilight fans. Twitties. Well, I'm a 34-year-old guy, and I'll be the first to admit I'm a bit of a nerd, so I've read the books. I read Harry Potter and all that, but these movies are killing me. So yeah, out here in Dallas, you'll know of Studio Movie Girl. Very much, yes. Love that place. It's a good spot. Yeah, well, not on midnight, on a work night. They start booze there. They rent out the theater for these movies. It's a bunch of girls get together, throw their money together. It's five grand apiece. There are about 100 people in this theater, and I was one of about four guys who were dragged there by their significant others.
Good odds. Man, it's the worst movie. It was so bad. And I had to be up at work at 6 a.m. until 3. My wife is going to make me take or see it again. She wants to see it for a second time on Friday. Take your iPad. She will murder you. The sex scene is supposed to be insane. You said that already. You said it several times. He says it several times a day. Well, I know, but... I mean, did you think that somehow the first eight times you told me that, I somehow didn't get it? I'm asking him. How was it? Why sit through two hours just to see that scene? Just go online. Yeah. There was maybe 40 minutes of dialogue during the whole movie. It was so many, like, these really ridiculous, like, music montages. Oh, man. And, like, slow motion dramatic. I'm going to do what my wife does when we go to the movie. Sleep. Sleep. I should have. There was one person that said, I've had mosquito bites that were more passionate. Oh, wow. Hey, congrats on your engagement, booze. Yeah. Thanks, guys. Guy moves out to Dallas. Makes me feel real good. That's right. Closes some biz. Good to me, man. That a boy. There you go, bro. Thank you. All right. Love you guys. Love you. Love you. All right. So we're going to do Name That Tune. The way that we do it is we use our name as a buzzer, and you've got to pick us. Tell us who you want to represent. You meet a reader from Oceanside. Who do you want?
I want wood. You got it. Hang on the line. M1, Richard from Temecula. Who do you want? Temecula. What did he say? He said Temecula, I think. Oh, Temecula. I want Temecula. Temecula. Hang on the line. All right, he's got you, L-O-B. Lisa, I'm sorry. You're from Lakeside, and you've got me. Okay. You've got me. She's like, all right, fine. Never mind. I guess I'll still play. I guess I'll take you. All right, hang on the line. Let's see. And we've got buzzers. That we buzz in with, although they're kind of silent buzzers. You can't really hear them, but Woods always complains that he got screwed. Yeah. So we had to get these buzzers. Still get screwed. And he still feels like there's something faulty with the buzzers. Mine wasn't working last time. Mine either. Switch with me then. Okay. Here you go. You've done that a hundred times. We've switched a million times. All right. Here we go. Here we go. Here we go. This is movies. Movies. I'm looking for the movie title. You got it. Here we go.
Coconut head's gonna take all the money. Come on, loudmouth. Get it off. Wait just a minute. How's he going? More than 15 minutes. Eat the whole thing in an hour. One rule. No throwing up. He throws up. You forfeit everything. Now, when was the last time you ever saw my boy throw up? Black and white. Now shut your mouth and give your money. Black and white. Charlie Chaplin. Come on now. Right over here. The first talk of the year. Luke, would you have to save 50? Jay's looking at us right now like, no, no, no. This is a classic. It's a classic. Luke, that's money you're talking about. Ain't never heard of the little tramp? L.O.B. Cool hand, Luke. Oh, my gosh. I heard Luke. Oh, nice. And it said it like four or five times in there. There we go. The egg-eating scene where you have to eat 50 eggs. Yeah, yeah. I missed that one from 1954. Cool hair Luke. Weird. I've seen it 84 times. I saw it at the damn theater when it opened. That's right. You are a clown. It was only a nickel to get in, yeah. Here we go. Beach of a hut. Oh, boy. Damn it. L-O-B? Spaceballs. Yep. Got to see some movies, Mike. I guess so.
Here we go. Andy. Woods, Animal House. Oh, yeah. Wow, that was really good. All right. Here we go. Slowly, a sound started to build in our house. Hey, Woods, stand by me. One time will make that sucker go off. Reset, reset, reset. I did relax. Oh, wow, you're a torn addict. Uh-oh. There he is. Here we go. This one's tough. Finally, monsieur. A well-thin mint. Oh, sir, it's only a tiny little thin one. The thumb full. Oh, sir. Mikey? I think that that is Monty Python, the life of Brian. Do you want to revise that? Just Monty Python. I'll give you Monty Python. I knew what it was. It's the meaning of life. Meaning of life.
That was, yes. It's a meaning of life. So it's title or a director. I didn't get it. I didn't get it. I didn't get it. I didn't get it. I didn't get it. I didn't get it. I didn't get it. It's my Python. The meaning of life. What's the final verdict from the judge? I'm giving it to him. All right. All right. Title or director. It's not a director. That's not a director. Title or creator. If you can come up with a creator, then I'll give it to you. Or troupe. Comedy troupe. Or troupe, yeah. No. Here we go. Battered and beaten. We thank you so much for this bountiful harvest. What's Talladega Nights? I've never seen it. Me neither. Weird, weird. Too lowbrow for both of you. It's weird that you've seen it. I know. Here we go. American. One of my favorite countries. I love your army knives with the toothpicks and your cheese. I'm guessing dinner with the schmucks. Nice. Wow. Wow. Wow. That was Steve Carell. Yeah. Yes, it was. Never seen it. What's the score, L.O.B.? It is. It's pretty hot, brah. Lauren, three. Woods, three. Okay, here we go. Who ordered this? The gentleman did, ma'am. Bon appétit. It's escargot. It's French. L.O.B.? Darn it. When Harry met Sally. Yeah! No. Here we go. They're snails. It's a delicacy. Try it. Inglourious bastards. Yeah! I know what it is! Darn it! Yes.
David. Mr. Lewis, if you were to get control, and I don't think you will, but if you did, what do you plan to do with the company? Break it up and sell off the pieces. Oh, I got it. I'm sure you understand. Darn it! It's a pretty woman. Yes, it is! Oh, never seen it. What? I'm sorry. Oh, my goodness. I apologize. Too lowbrow. No, I just never seen it. It's always on. It won't play well. It won't play well. Yeah, great, man. That's your bit. That's not my bit. That was me making fun of you, making fun of him. Didn't think it was possible to hate you more. Here we go. Greg grew up in Detroit. He told me. Woods. Meet the parents. Ever just run away with a game? Never seen it. I'll get screwed in the end. You know that. Well, I'm about to make sure that happens here. Here we go. Take it right off his TV. It's Silence of the Lambs. Incorrect. Oh, I'm sorry. Take away a point. Take away a point. Mikey Hannibal. Booyah! Where is that? They're not all going to be pristine quality. It was taped off of AM Station. When Hannibal was first released, they released it on KCBQ AM.
I thought we were sure it was a black and white film. I'm like, what? Okay, there's three remaining. What's the score, L.O.B.? It is Mike one, Lauren two, Woods four. Weird. So we're going to make the next one a two-pointer. What's that, chicken? Every night is chicken. Go ahead, Woods. It's Alan Arkin. And it's, oh, Little Miss Sunshine. Oh, my God. You did it! How much time do we get? We just get like 30 seconds to answer. No, he was fine. Got two more. Here is a three-pointer. Pipe right in if you know it. Here's a three-pointer. So, Jeremy, you and your brother are back. Oh. That's Wedding Crashers. Suck it. Dang it. Dang it. I got one more. It's a five-pointer. Well, I don't even think so. Even if it's five points. Okay, it's a six. We still can't get it. Better make it a seven. Okay, a seven-pointer. Here we go. Here we go. I've been called the songbird of my generation. Stepbrothers. Gosh darn it. You are ridiculous. How can I get him when it comes to this? Domination. You are ridiculous. Very gracious winner. Domination. Domination. Domination. M1 meter reader. Are you there? Domination. Yeah, I would. Gentle. Anytime. He got you. He got you. He's very. Obstacles. Despite. What obstacles? The seven pointer.
What do you got? Yeah, you got it anyway. Woods is very gentle with these pieces of equipment, by the way. They're cheap, though. Yeah, they work. Thumping on those things like Thumper. Yep. Sorry to use my foot. He won for you. He won for you, meter reader. And what did he win? He won a four-pack of tickets to SeaWorld. Based on that. There you go. Hang on the line, hang on the line, hang on the line. It's fun. It's almost not anymore. Gosh, man, if it's movies, Woods has got it. He is tough to beat. He is as tough to beat in that category as if we were doing Food Network stars and I were playing. Bible verses or something. There was a commercial on yesterday and I thought there was somebody from Food Network on it and I thought Woods is going to have no idea who that person is in this TV commercial. It was Andrew Zimmern.
And he's in this commercial where he gets into a car with James Lipton and Chris Berman and Kelly Clarkson. Oh, wow. Yeah, and they're supposed to be this weird bunch in a car together. And they represent restaurants, music, movies, and sports. And I thought Woods will know everybody except that bald dude in the backseat. Yep. The guy from Food Network. Couldn't pick him out of a lineup. Could not. What did you do this weekend, Woodsy? I went to Los Angeles. You seem a little wound up. Oh, no. You're not? No, I'm good. That game just always fires me up. Woods. It was a rough weekend, though. It was a rough L.A. trip, to say the least. I won't call it a disaster. What happened? It was pretty damn close to a disaster. What happened? Okay, so we leave after the camp food drive. We drive up to L.A. Massive traffic. Just traffic and traffic and traffic. Left at two on a Friday. Yep. We get up to our hotel. We're very excited. We're staying at the Standard in Hollywood. Yeah. Perfect. Right on Sunset. Beautiful location. Three miles from the venue where we're going to go see Noel Gallagher play Friday night. Got it. So it's all lined up perfectly. Battle down the 101. Battle down Sunset. Get down to the Standard. Park. Valet. The car. Grab all the bags. Walk inside. Hey, checking in.
Sure. What is your name? It's Stephen Woods. We don't have your reservation, Mr. Woods. Oh, no, no, no. Well, that's impossible because I made this reservation last Friday, and this was my... Actually, hang on. I got the email. Pull up the email. See? Got the email right here, ma'am. Oh. Yes, sir. That's the standard downtown. Oh, gosh. Oh, no, no, no. And I'm like... No, please, no. Here's me. Okay. Okay. No, no, no. No, no, no. So I say, well, how much for a room here, if I was so inclined? Mm-hmm. I'd be $250 for the night. Oh. And I said, okay, that last one we paid like $130 for, the one downtown. I go, I can't throw away $130. How far? It's 10 miles, sir. Here's the map. It should take you guys about 45 minutes to an hour based on traffic at this time of day. It's cool, man. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. Oh, no. So we drive down to the Standard. Lovely hotel. Very nice. Very nice hotel. Very cool. An hour. Oh, gosh. Get up to the room.
We're like, all right, babe, hey, look and see how far we are from the venue now. 16 miles from the venue. Oh, God. No. Yeah. Then we were going to have a couple cocktails, so we weren't going to drive, and I wasn't going to drive down to UCLA. So we went and got a cab, got on the 405 to go. Their 405 was reduced to one lane at one point. No. Took us about an hour to get to the venue. No. $60 one way. No. Walked into the show. Show was pretty good. You know, Noel came out. I'm sure you were in a great mood by that time. I'd been up since 3.30. Got no nap. I'm exhausted. Oh, gosh. So I'm like, this is great. This is great. This is great. So he's playing. He's playing. The whole time I'm thinking, we're on the middle of campus. We're a mile into campus. A mile in to UCLA's campus. Massive. I'm like, this is so weird. What a weird venue. And that's all I'm thinking is. How are we going to get a cab? Oh, gosh. How are we going to get a cab out of here? Cabs don't come up here. Oh, wow. So I go grab one of the security guards. My heart is pounding right now. Oh, yeah. That's me, too. I go, do cabs come up here? He goes, no. Come with me. I'll call you one. Calls the cab company. Hey, so they'll be here. And the guy's like, yeah, I know you've never heard of it. You've actually never been here before. But listen, if you just drive in down this one road and follow the sign. And I looked at Jamie. I go, forget it. I go, thanks for your time. We walked a mile.
on UCLA's campus. Did Jamie have heels on? She had boots on. Oh, man. And so I told her, I go, you might want to take those boots off because we're going to be moving. It's not easy. She didn't. It's not easy. She didn't. So we walked a mile up to Sunset. And I'm like, babe, look, Sunset Boulevard, there'll be cabs. Well, we're at Sunset Boulevard in Brentwood at this point. Oh, no. Cabs aren't cruising by there. So we got to call a cab. It's probably 11 at this point. Yeah, I'm right here. I'm at Sunset. I'm right in front of the UCLA sign. Oh. Cab finally comes. Another $60. Back to the... $120 in cab ride. Oh, wow. So then... Help me, Winifred! Yeah, anything would have helped. So then we went up to the rooftop bar at our hotel, which was really nice. We hung out up there for about an hour. Then we went to bed. And at about 6.30 in the morning, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. Freaking trash trucks, garbage cans, construction. No. And we're on the third floor of a hotel in downtown LA. So you tell me. It was every noise imaginable. And I finally, at about 7.30 or 8, I go, you know what? Just get up. Let's go. Come on. The dogs are at home. Let's just go. So we get on the road, and we're like, all right, cool, cool. Well, now, what was the plan originally? That was it. You were coming back the next day, but maybe sleep in a little bit. Get up, have breakfast. We were going to go try this place on Sunset called The Waffle. It was all planned out. Well, no, none of that happened. So then we get on the road home.
Massive major traffic again on the way home. And I looked at her and I go, listen. Led Zeppelin could come to L.A. I'm not going to L.A. to see a show for a while. Unless I take a helicopter. I'm not going. It was this close to a disaster. The only saving grace was the show. The music was really good. Wow. is my nightmare. Yeah. Everything that you just said is my nightmare. It would have been. You would have died. At least you remembered your ID, though. That is true. You could be like me and go up there to see a show and then your boyfriend forgets his ID and you can't get in. Could have been that. Happened last weekend. Yeah. Oh. Yeah, we remembered all our IDs. You could have stayed in the hotel and watched Friends all night. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. A mother is upset that a Hooters waitress was a guest speaker at her son's school. Why was a Hooters waitress a guest speaker at her son's school? Why not, I guess is the question. The mother said it was inappropriate and stunning. It was a K-12 for students that have emotional and behavioral disabilities. The waitress came dressed in sweatpants and a sweater, and she talked about how she was working her way through college, basically, that you have to get a job to work through college. The mother was outraged. Well, I'm not outraged by it. I just think it's weird. I would be just as perplexed if it was any waitress, and they come in and they're like,
I'm working my way through college. You're like, great. Yeah. Cool. Cool. I thought it was strange too, but I guess a lot of the teachers at the school are waitresses as well at Hooters. Thank you. It's not like a strip club or anything, right? Yeah. It's not like a strip club. It's not like it's Taylor Swift. It's not like it's Taylor Swift either. It's delightfully tacky yet unrefined. Delightfully tacky yet unrefined. It's like our friend Jay. That's right. Woods, what's going on in sports? Well, I'm going to tell you about Monday Night Football in a second, but first I wanted to tell you that sports is brought to us today by our friends at Dave and Buster's Eat, Drink, Play Football. Get some. And get some, absolutely. Not the official slogan. Not the official slogan of anything. I told you earlier the Chargers did lose 31-20 in case you missed that yesterday. Was not a pretty game. Three more turnovers. Five in a row. Not good. Not good at all. But Monday Night Football will go off tonight. It's the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots. And Patriots are still looking pretty good. They're 6-3. Kansas City's 4-5, but they have lost Matt Castle. So Tyler Palco will be making his first career. Oh, Tyler Palco is going to be in there. Yeah, he's making his first career NFL start in place of Matt Castle. A little bit later on. Last night on 60 Minutes, it was...
Taylor Swift. It's not like it's Taylor Swift. I know it isn't. It's Taylor Swift. It's not like it's Taylor Swift. It's pronounced Swift. With a T. Is it? It is. Which, by the way, do you guys remember what my criticism was when I took my wife to see Taylor Swift? Yes. Do you guys remember what my criticism of Taylor Swift was? Yes. Her looking like... Pensive and precocious. It was her looking surprised that the audience was so into her, which is a question that she was asked last night on 60 Minutes. Are you really shocked that they're applauding for you? So that's going to be on there. The Chargers didn't win. In fact, they lost and they lost ugly. And some of us are surprised and some of us aren't. But anyway, we'll be talking more about it later. David Letterman interviewed Herman Cain, who has a very famous platform he's running on called 999. My China strategy is outgrow China militarily and economically. That's how you stand up to the China. How do we outgrow them when we're in such debt to them now as it is? Well, you put in an economic... We could stop sending work over there. Yeah, yeah. We could stop sending every bit of work over there because, you know, American companies now, they can't keep up.
Talk about mom and pop. They can't keep up. I know a dude owns a powder coating company. He can't compete with the Chinese. They do it for two cents. Plan called 999. Have you heard of it? I've heard of it. I don't know what it means. 999. It's bold. I know it's bold, but you don't even know what it means. I heard somebody say to you, how would so-and-so and so-and-so be handled under 999? And you said, I don't know. That was one of those obscure questions that was asked. But you couldn't tell us. What is it? We are dealing with the obscurity. I mean, I like it. It's clever, 999. It's fun. And it works. It works. And you ought to get some sort of toll-free number. Herman Cain, you dial 999, you get a free pizza. Come on! Oh, boy. What are we talking about? You know what you're going to get. Instead of a free pizza, when you dial 999, you're going to be able to get a job. That's the whole point. Well, listen, if it's easy to understand, you should be able to explain it on the David Letterman show. I mean, if you want the average American to be able to consume 999, you should be able to tell us on David Letterman. He just skirted it. He's your boy, Mike. Why don't you explain it? He's not. Herman Cain, your boy Herman Cain. I am not. Gosh darn it. I think he's Jay's boy, actually. Yeah.
He's Jay's boy. Jay's reading the Facebook. Yeah, he's busy. Now, we also talked about Herman Cain because of his famous smoking ad campaign where he very stupidly, oddly, not make sensibly, had his campaign manager in a commercial smoking. And it was supposed to be cool. Well, Herman Cain says, no, it was just supposed to show who he is. That's who he is. He's a smoker. Great. Maybe he also is a guy that goes to war on himself every once in a while. I don't need you to show me that either. He's a male, right? He probably likes to eat like most of us. Maybe don't include that. Maybe don't throw that in there. He likes soup. He knows how to tie his shoes. Great. We don't need to see it. He sleeps on his side. We don't need to see that. Okay. So he responded to that whole ad campaign. Let me ask you, what's the deal on this guy?
What's he doing? That's your campaign manager having a butt. What's that all about? We have a saying in the campaign. Let Herman be Herman. Let Mark be Mark. Let's let people be people. Why do you have a saying in your campaign about your campaign manager? Why would anybody running for president have a saying about their campaign manager? Maybe have a saying about the United States. We like sayings. That's right. In our campaign, Mike, we like sayings. That's right. Credos. We like credos. We like credos. He smokes. So he was taking a smoke. That's your boy. Well, it's that simple. It's my boy. It's identical to your boy. No hidden message. Identical to your boy. What if the guy was a drunk? Well. My boy. How you doing? Yeah, what if? Well, you know what? Hey, if he was a drunk, we'd show him doing shots, but he's not. So what do you want from me? You know, there is a line we do not cross when we let people be people. I know, I know, but we're in the big leagues now. You can't have a guy lighting up a butt in the middle of a campaign commercial. Well, it was on the Internet, and we thought maybe people would notice.
Oh, man. What a clown. He's every day becoming bigger and bigger. He is magna cum laude from Clown College. Clown School. He's in running to be the dean. Yes. He is running to be the dean of Clown School. Wow. It's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. A lot of Hollywood actors, they smoke, but in between takes. They don't do it on camera just because it's something that they do. To show you how real they are. This text says, Mikey, I'll keep it simple. I got drunk and slept over at a female co-worker's house. Now my girlfriend won't answer my texts or calls. Well, that's because you slept over at a female co-worker's house. Yeah, he should have driven home. He was drunk. That's what I'm saying. Dripping. Oh, no. Cabs aren't available. No, no, no. I'd say you go before that. You've got to rewind before that. If you're going to get loaded, don't you know you're going to get loaded? I don't go out with the intention of getting loaded. Sometimes it happens. Sometimes it happens. Sneak up on you sometimes. Oh, yeah. Lucky to get anywhere at that point. Been there. Been there. I think we've all been there. I think if you trust him, it should be okay. I think if you ask him and he tells you.
You know, nothing happened and nothing happened. Yeah. I just think you're putting yourself in a very stupid predicament. You screwed up. Yeah. You screwed up. Yeah. So, I mean, what's, I don't know that there's really a resolution other than. She has a boyfriend. If the boyfriend was there or a husband, it's okay. If it was just the two of them. I'm down with that. What L.O.B. said makes sense to me. If she's married or she's got a boyfriend and he was there, that's fine. For the sake of argument, she doesn't. It's wrong. Break up with them? No. Is it a fireable offense? No. No. You know, it's not a fireable offense. It's a keep my eye on you offense. Yes, exactly. It's a deficit in the trust account. A hundred percent. Yeah. Does anybody disagree? 5701949? Yeah. Clownish as well. I'm trying to put myself in this situation. Like, say, like, Jamie's out of town or something and Woods comes out with Matt and I and he decides to stay over. It's a big difference than if Matt weren't there. And. You know?
Oh, 100%. It's so different. Imagine if Hillary were single and he did that. He stayed at Hillary. He'd be dead. He'd be dead. My wife would slit my throat from ear to ear. And it's different, too, because LOP works with us in our close circle, you know what I mean? Like, what if it was a pretty girl that just worked here? Yeah. Well, even if his girlfriend that's upset with him knew the co-worker. Still, you're always just kind of like, well, I know how I can get when I have drinks. What kind of shenanigans were going on? I agree. You know when you're drunk, your inhibitions are lowered. Yeah. Yeah. So you could hook up. Doesn't sit well. I wouldn't like it. That's hell no. It's not a good move. If my girlfriend slept over at some dude's house, that might be. Hey, listen, fireable offense we were talking about, it might be for me. Really? I think you'd get over it. No, I don't think I would. She's like, babe, nothing happened. Oh, my God. It's Tim. Nothing's going to happen with Tim. You just sealed the deal, Woods. You just sealed the deal. I would undeniably break up with her. Now, people can say, well, then you don't trust her. And then you don't. Right. I don't trust her now. Yeah, I did. I did. Wow. But that's one night of doing something that she probably didn't even do anything wrong. Not for me. That broad, she can have at it with somebody. Somebody will be willing to deal with that.
Me, I don't want any part of that monkey business. In my house, we don't do the sleep out bit ever. You drag your butt home. And I've always said to Woods, doesn't that go without saying? It's like... Hey, listen, in our family, we've decided in our marriage we're only going to sleep with each other. I don't mean sleep with each other like sleep with each other. I mean, no, it's not true, dude. Because let's say Jamie goes out with the girls and they end up at somebody's house drinking wine. I'm like, hey, get in the cab instead of crashing over there. And I say married. If you're married, man. Yeah, always. If you're married, man, married woman. You don't have sleepovers. It goes without saying you come home. It doesn't go without saying. See, she's like, really? Are you at your girlfriend's house? Yes. You're married. What are you, 12? You guys sitting around playing? No, but one thing led to another and we're like, you know what? Instead of being like, I think I can drive.
Then being like, it's not even worth it. You're a married woman. When you go over to her house, you know you're not going to be getting so drunk you can't drive home. What if you didn't have a lot to eat? You didn't realize how much you were going to eat. And they're having fun. And listen, I don't want her to drive home, but I would like her to get a cab. What if you're in the middle of a neighborhood on a Tuesday night and you can't get a cab? Well, you're probably, your husband's got to come get you. Yeah, unless he works mornings on the radio. If he wants me to come home, then he'll have to come get me. I ain't married yet. If something like that happens. I'm not saying it's par for the course. That is what I plan on doing. But if that happens, I would think he'd trust me to stay at Stephanie's house. What are you doing on a Tuesday night? I have off tomorrow. Don't worry about it. Keep your eyes on your own paper. You are my paper! You're my paper! I'm not doing it either, by the way. As a married dude. It's different, though. You guys are shady. When you get married, you... That is double standard. It's true. I'm not doing that, man. I don't trust your friends. You trust mine. Do. I... As a married dude, doesn't even... I mean, of course I'm not going out and not coming home. Two things. You don't drink. First of all, you don't drink. If I did, bro. Second of all, you have kids. So it's different with kids. It is different. You're grown up. You're grown up. I know. You get married, you're grown up. I know.
But sometimes if the girls get together, they're playing grab ass, they're drinking wine a little bit, they're having fun. My thing was, hey, you used to, yeah, stay over. Now I'm like, I'd like to wake up with you. Yes. Well, yeah, because we're married. Yeah. You know. Oh, boy. You guys are perfect. I wouldn't want to. Hey, I don't do it. If L.O.B. was a married woman. If. And her. You're such a freak. Yeah, L.O.B., you get this call from me. Hey, babe. Are you there? Babe, pick up. Pick up. I'd have my ringer off, so I wouldn't get it. No, no, no. Home phone. Home phone. Babe. What? Hey, what's up? Nothing. I'm sleeping. What are you doing? It's 3 a.m. I don't have any money left for a cab. I'm just going to stay at Mike's, okay? I'll come get you. All right. End of discussion. End.
That's the thing. Discussion. That is it, right? Of course. I think it's in a discussion, too. If he wants to come get me. Let me get this broad out of here. M1JBird, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What do you think? Hey, the only reason to go out and have fun with the girls, you know what I'm saying? She has a little bit of a drink. Give me a call, I'll come get you. Of course. Of course. There's no reason to be staying at someone else's house. See, I'm really... Thank you. And I'm really surprised that it's like... even up for debate, conversation, whatever. It blows me away that anybody would think as a married person that in some universe you go party and you don't come home. I'm not saying that as conservative guy. I'm not saying that as married guy with kids. I'm saying it like, and maybe it's in my universe, a chick does that? No. But that's my universe. What about when they go to Vegas? Well, dude, they're out of... I know, but still. No, no, no. I expect them to fly home. So you trust them to go to Vegas, but you don't trust them to stay out overnight. No. You're on a trip if you're in Las Vegas. I don't expect you to come home. Oh, so, but you have to trust them there, though. Yeah. Well, yes, because they're out of town. If they go to France, I don't expect her to fly home that night. So what if they get a hotel room downtown? That's like, hey, I'd be in a hotel. If they say, listen.
We want to have a girls' night where we're going to get a room. No, no, no, no. What am I saying? Really? You're not okay with that? No, no. So you don't like the spontaneous, something happened and now I can't go. I don't like spontaneous. I don't like spontaneous either. Pre-planned. I don't like that bit either, what I just said. I was starting to say it and I'm like, this is disgusting. What's the difference between downtown San Diego and Las Vegas? One, you don't have a choice. Right. Right. One, you can't come home if you want to. But if you live in North County, it's almost the same cost to go get a cab downtown. That's okay. So figure it out. You know what I mean? Like, what do you do now? What do people do now? You go down there, but you go, okay, we got a DD. Yeah. We got a DD. Oh, that's funny. So maybe we're coming home at three, but we got a DD. What I'm not going to do is not come home. That's so strange. I don't mind the hotel. Like, if it's a plant, like when Jamie's friends came to town and they all got a hotel, I was like, cool. I know where you guys are. How about it? That didn't bother me. And it was here. It was here. Yeah, but there was four girls, so I didn't want them all at my house either. How come? Because I wanted, like, you know, I don't want four girls running around, but yes. If they want to be downtown, then it's, you know, it costs a lot of money to get cash. That's true. M1 Hurricane, you there? Yes. What do you think? My question for this guy would be, was he just out one-on-one with this female? He spent the night at his, he got drunk. Right. And he spent the night, rather than drive drunk,
He spent the night, and the only person that was available to let him crash on the couch was a female co-worker. Okay, so he wasn't out with her. I don't know. We don't know. Yeah, I didn't even think about that. I would have been like, why don't you stay at Jason's house? Yeah, they're probably in a group, you know, because they're probably a work group. Yeah, maybe a few people slept over there. They were probably in a work group that somehow fizzled out. We've all been there. Oh, yeah. It fizzles out, and then you're like, hey, this is me and you. Guys, ain't your house? Yeah. I don't like that. Just rub your back for a minute. He'll get you. Or he just falls asleep, and in finger quotes, he just falls asleep and ends up staying. She doesn't want to wake him. Right. Hey, let's play Tummy Sticks. I could see that happening. Let's play Tummy Sticks. Do you want to play tummy sticks with me? I don't know what that is. This is to take our shirts off and rub our tummies together. Oh, no. That's called tummy sticks? Tummy sticks. Wow. A lot of rubbing. If she wasn't out with him, then presumably she wasn't drunk. If she's such a good co-worker that she'd let him sleep over, why can't she give him a ride home? She's probably drunk, too. She's drunk. Maybe it was the go back to the house bit. He passes out on the couch. Yep. And he's like, oh, boy. What? Oh, that's death. Yeah, you're dead. Pass out on the couch with an afghan on you? My stuff is in the front yard.
When I get home. Oh, yeah. I mean, my stuff's in the front yard. Oh. And here's the deal. Nothing personal, ladies, if you're the, what? I'm married. I don't come home. Nothing personal, okay? Hey, brother, there's a lot more of them than you think. Super. Trust me. All right. I'm just saying, man. And I'm not doing it either. Like, I'm not going out and not coming home. But nothing personal. I don't want any part of that. You're asking for trouble. You keep that mess up as a husband and as a wife, you're asking for trouble. If it happens regularly, that's a problem. That's what I'm saying. If you keep it up. As a husband, as a wife, if you're that guy or you're that chick, there's a bunch of other stuff that comes along with you, too. No, I think every once in a while. You're probably hot, by the way. Whether you're a guy or a girl, you're probably good looking. Why else is this guy or this girl willing to marry you? When you're the type that's like, I'm just going to take it to Cindy's house. Okay. Come home when you want. I'll make some bacon for you. I'm shocked that not everybody is like, oh my gosh. I would skin my husband if he did that. I'd skin my wife if she did that. Are you kidding me? I'm just not going to come home.
I would communicate. I wouldn't just the next morning be like, oh yeah, I didn't tell you. I slept at Stephanie's. It would be a communication of, I'm going to stay here. Are you okay with that? Or do you want to come get me? Do you mind if I stay at Stephanie's tonight? I'm just tired. No, I'm drunk. I'm still at Stephanie's. I'm drunk. I'm drunk and tired. Is Stephanie there? Yeah, it's her house. It's her house. Her apartment. She doesn't have a house. The one bedroom. Smells like Pier 1. This is a guitarist secret in here. Stephanie! Is that love spell? Stephanie says love spell, babe. Are you there? Are you a guy or are you a girl right now? I'm a guy. Oh, well, that's a big difference. That's a big difference. All right, I'll be a girl. Is that Aqua DiGio? Hey, babe. I'm over at John's house. He has a big hog.
No, I'm serious. He went hog hunting. I'm serious. He went hog hunting. And above the fireplace, there's a big old hog. You should see a snake. He's got a giant snake. Babe, are you... What about a girl saying it's Stephanie's house? There's nothing wrong with that. Oh, yeah, yeah, that's fine. Nothing wrong with that. But you wouldn't want it. If she's really there. No, no, no, no. Not all night. Not all night. Not all night. I don't see the problem. Have you ever had the bit where the... You have a bunch of people over, and then the one girl acts all passed out, and you're like, you have to leave my house. Yeah, but then I had sex with that girl, but I wasn't married. Weren't you? No, I wasn't married. That was uncomfortable. Whatever works. Were you dating? Dating who? That girl? No, just at a party. You were at a party, she wouldn't leave. Your house, your rules.
My house, my rules. Pants off. Hey, I was just being a good host, okay? Yikes. Just being a good host. 570-1949. Give us a call. Let us know what you think. Taylor Swift was... Best boards you can get right in the local area for sure. Give them a try. They're available at Bird Surf Shed. And surf is available this morning too, but pretty weak out there overall. That northwest swell trying to increase a bit, but it's getting hammered down by a high tide this morning, backing things off quite a bit. Reef breaks are all gone. Beach breaks out some pop-up corners, some steeper little inside bases, but really better for that longer board or fish or something of that nature. Clean conditions right now in terms of surface quality and overall partly cloudy skies will greet you this morning. A couple weird little fog pockets off the coastline, but it doesn't look like they'll move in. Winds are out of the east, so again, clean groom conditions. Water...

The authentic surf report can only be heard three times daily, right here on FM 94.9. This has been the FM 94.9 Authentic Surf Report. Anytime you're ready. And now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. I like watching guns and blowing stuff up. Woods. All I want is a crisp, sweet apple. That's it. And you can't find it. I can't find it. Every time I bite into it, it goes, Lauren. I write bad reviews about them online. And Jay. She'll go on a girls trip and I'll go on like a surf trip or something. But if I have a choice. I would rather be together. Whoa, what am I hearing? Now. On FM 94.9. The song, I love this song. It seems ancient to me now because I remember how long ago it came out. But, oh, I love me some foreigners. Playing casinos real good now. Oh, yeah. Getting them. Is that what foreigners bid is now, their casino act? Yep. Yeah. Yeah. Great storytellers. Are they? Yeah, I mean, think about it. Yeah, I mean.
It's Foreigner, Mike. Yeah, it's Foreigner. Jukebox Hero. It's a good one. Head Games. That's another good one. Cold as eyes. Oh. Waiting for a girl like you. Stories. Urgent. Urgent. Hot-blooded. Check it and see. Monday morning quarterback coming up in just Mikey morning quarterback. Oh, yes. Mikey morning quarterback. Mikey. It's coming up. I took my wife to see Taylor Swift when she was in town. Hello. Taylor Swift, not my wife. And we went and saw her. And my only, like, beef was that she did this thing where she would come out on stage and the crowd would be going, you know, crazy. And she would pretend that she was shocked by it. And she would look around and she would just be very... And I thought that that was very...
Disingenuous. Yeah. Yes. Very theatrical. Theatrical. Well, not just theatrical. It was theatrical. But I also thought that it screamed a phony. Drama nerd. Wasn't that? You know why it wasn't drama nerd? Because she wanted you to believe that it was legit. To the point where they ask her about it on 60 Minutes. And when the crowd roars, her expression of awe again. And again, can be, well, hard to believe. Are you really surprised or are you just kind of putting it on? I'm really surprised every time I see a crowd like that. That's it. I'm out. Taylor. That's it. Yep, she just lost me. I was your biggest fan. I was one of your biggest fans. Why'd you do it? Why'd you do it? You freaking lied. Why? Why? You know how many records you've sold.
Why did you just do that? You freaking lied. You know how many records you've sold. You know how many tickets you've sold to that venue when you get there? You know how many people they're going to pay. You know how many people follow you on Twitter. You know that you're loved. Why do you lie, liar? It's not a true statement. It's not a true statement. It's annoying. I never thought I'd get to play to a crowd like that. So when you go... Well, except for the 300 previous crowds that I played for that were all sold out. Yeah. Except for those. That would have worked three years ago if you said that. So... At the 95th show, I'm still stuck. It never gets old. It never ceases to amaze me. In fact, it's almost bad for my heart. I never see it coming. It's almost bad for my heart because every single night, like last night in Houston, I almost had a heart attack because I was so shocked that they were applauding so loudly. Is this her opening bit or does she come out and play a song?
Throughout. Throughout the show. And at one point, now, the first time she did it, she had to actually wait because they weren't. They didn't get it. No, they weren't really loud enough to merit. Oh, I'm shocked at how loud you are. So she stood there and stood there and then started to do the shock bit, even though they weren't that loud. And then once she started to make shocked face, which I took a picture of. Shock face. Of shock face on the big screen. I took a picture of the big screen. I'll post it. Yeah, please. Once she started to do that, then they got the crowd got excited like, oh, we're freaking her out. We're we're amazing. Taylor Swift. And then they got louder. But it was, you know, that's the one thing I said to my wife. I go, what about that phony thing? She goes, I know it's a tactic. I feel like.
A lot of entertainers, they make it feel like you're the best venue they've been to. You're the best city. Well, the only thing is, is that they usually convince me of it. A lot of times they're able to convince me of it. I think this is her move. This is her move. Yes. Again and again can be, well, hard to believe. Are you really surprised or are you just kind of putting it on? I'm really surprised every time I see a crowd like that because I never thought I'd get to play to a crowd like that. So when you go, it's real? It doesn't look like that? Great. Yeah, Taylor. You never watch footage of yourself? Yeah. It's a genuine surprise. I don't know why I'm on trial here. I don't know why I'm being attacked. You're not surprised, Taylor. I'm very surprised. You're not. Not even a little. Mike? Mike? Yeah. Not 1%. I'm very surprised. You're not half? Have you ever gone back and watched the tape just to see how your show went? No. That's not really. So you're not aware of how phony? I get caught up in the moment a lot, and I just kind of go with it, you know? And when I walk out and I hear them cheering for me, I'm in awe and I'm surprised. My wife, Rebecca, is on the line. Hi, honey. Hi, sweetie. Hi. Did you hear that?
Yeah, I watched it last night. I watched the 60 Minutes episode, and I wanted to add a few things. So the first thing is that when they actually filmed her for the segment, it was in Los Angeles at the Staples Center. Yeah. And the interviewer noted that she sold out four nights in a row at the Staples Center in a matter of minutes. And I kept thinking when she was saying, I'm really surprised every time. I thought, really, on the third night? Right. Third night, I was just, yeah. Just as surprised as the first. Yeah. And then I was surprised in San Diego the night after that. Right. Yeah. So that was one thing. And then the other thing that I noticed is they showed a lot of footage of her. And she was. It's not that I really didn't expect this to be the case, but she was saying the same exact things and had the same expression. Everything was exactly the same as we saw her. There'll be a sex tape on her in a couple years, I guarantee you. Oh, why? Rehab stay. Why do you jump to that? Rehab stay. Sex tape. Why? Mark it down. Why? Because she has a show she puts on? No, greater people than Taylor Swift have fallen victim to the... Well, I hope not.
The trappings of entertainment. I still love her. I love her, too. I don't watch it. Believe me, I will watch it. This is a bit. She's like a drama nerd. She's doing theater? It's like a big performance. Well, it's so over the top. You can't just say it's theater, lady. You know what I think? They said last night in the interview that she doesn't have a management team. She runs her own management, basically. She manages herself. Wow. And I think that she's made the decision that, you know, saying that and, you know, acting that way. Like, that's the way to connect personally with your fans. And that's what you need to do to, like, appear humble. And, I mean, I think she is humble. But I think that she's just made the decision that that's what you have to do. And so she sticks with it. Hey, listen. It's not like it isn't working. Yeah, whatever she's doing is working. Four nights at Table Center. Four nights. She basically is on, like, every. format, too, of radio stations. Yeah. Not 94.9. Country. Yeah, I'm an adder. Hey, it's me. Yeah, I'm thinking about it. I'll add a deer. Yeah, and you're mean. I'm putting them both on. Yeah, your mean's great. Your mean is good. All right, thank you, honey. I love you. I love you. Love you. You guys don't have to sit. Yeah, no, we don't have to, but when you feel something, you... I'm on Caleb from Scripps Ranch. What was the word of the day? Ancient. It was ancient, and you, my friend...
are going to the Holiday Hootenanny, and you've got a pair of sunglasses from SpyOptic, my friend. All right, hang on, okay? Hang on the line. Are you guys ready? Okay. Jay, in here, Jay. From Mikey Morning Quarterback. We're playing for a four-pack of lunch at Rubio's. There you go. Give us a call right now. You want lunch at Rubio's, call us. And here's the deal. You've got to pick L-O-B, or you've got to pick Jay. Who do you think will know more about NFL football? L.O.B. or Jay? No. I can tell you that from past experience, L.O.B. has done very well. Very well. When playing this game. She's done fair. She's done fair. I've been beat once. She's been, yes. She's only been beaten once. And so I would say that's better than fair. That's pretty much flawless. 10 out of 11. Yes. 98% correct. M1 uniform man from Escondido. Who would you like to represent you? L-O-B. Weird. Hang on a line. And Jay, you will be representing M1 Che from, and I believe it's Che. Is it Che or Shay? Che. Che from Fallbrook. Oh, Che. You have Woods. All right, excuse me, Jay. Hang on. All right, you ready? You guys ready? Yes. Put on your NFL thinking cap. Lauren Purse today.
Yes, and I haven't watched the NFL in like two weeks, so I'm a little rusty. All right, LLB. Question numero uno. Okay. That was a dig. I mean, it was a good one. Yeah. It was just saying, take that. Are you ready, LLB? I am. Rex Ryan is the head coach of what NFL team? The Jets. Wow. Just like that. Out of the gate. Out of the gate. I mean, just comes out swinging. Yeah. Out of the gate. Jason. Yes. This team's home games are played at Lambeau Field. The Denver Broncos. I know it. It's Green Bay Packers. It's the Green Bay Packers. My next one. It is the Green Bay Packers. L.O.B.? Yes. People in China know that. They're listening online right now.
And they're going, how did he not know that? There's aborigines that are kicking themselves. They just put down a didgeridoo. Are you kidding me? L.O.B. If a player catches the ball on a kickoff on his own goal line, and then he runs it back for a touchdown, how many yards did he go? 100. That. That is correct, L-O-B. That is correct. He's running away with it. Isn't each end zone like five yards? No, he caught it on his red line. Okay, okay, okay. They're 10 yards. I thought it was going to be a Trek question. That's a Trek question. No, you nailed it. Got it. And you got the question right. And you got the question right. All right. Jay. Yes. Name any, and by any. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. What I'm talking about is encompassing all. You mean? I mean, any. These are the worst. From any time. Ever. Gosh. In the history, any, of the National Football League. Got to twitch. Any wide receiver on the San Diego Chargers from any time. Any time. Ever. Now, before, if you can name a future one, we're just looking for a receiver. Any. Receiver. Receiver.
Wide receiver. On the Chargers. He's tapping his foot. LT. Oh, wow. He is. Oh, I love him. Oh, I love him. Oh, I love him. How come LT is running back? He's running back. Isn't that what we were looking for? Nope. Receiver. Oh. Isn't that the same thing? L-O-B? Yes. Name any person. And by any. By any. I mean any. From any time. Any time. From any time. I hate these ones. Never. They make you look so dumb. Name any person. Ever. Ever. Okay. To host Monday Night Football. Ever. Ever. From any time. Any era. From its inception. Ever. Any host on that show. Ever. Yeah. One of the people that call the games. Boomer Esiason. Bradshaw. John Ben. Oh, yeah. That's right. That's actually correct. 2-0. He did. Hello, Jay. Still alive. Still alive. Going to clean it up right here. Let's go. All right. Are you ready? Yep. Jay, this team wears... Are you sure about this, Woods? Uh-oh. I'm going to change. I'm right. Audible. This team wears blue helmets with an orange C on them. The Carolina Panthers. No. It's the Chicago Bears. Oh, the den. Yeah, the bear den. Dang it. The bear den. Maybe blue with the orange C. I thought it was black.
It's navy blue. It is? Yeah. Did not know. All right. L.O.B. Yes. If you appear on the cover of which video game you are said to be cursed? Madden. Look at you. Holy crap. Should have said Madden both times. Yeah. The girl is virtually unstoppable. Unbeatable. M1 uniform man. L.O.B. What's that? It's embarrassing. It is embarrassing. No, it's not a contest. It's not a contest. It is not. It is not. She wipes the mat with him. It's embarrassing. She just wipes the mat with him. Maybe you watch SportsCenter one time. She toys with him is what she does. Why do I want to sit and watch sports? She is a cat and he is a play toy. Yes, he's like a fake mouse and I just bat him around. Bat him around. And then you think I'm going to leave him alone and I pick him up and swat him across the room. Well, yeah, you think you're going to leave him alone because... You pretend you're done with them. Sounds real good. But you're not. And the questions are like my catnip. That's right. I get high off them. She gets high off them. Hang on the line, bro. Thank you. Meow. You guys ever going to let me talk? You're just going to flap your guns all the whole time. Sorry, Neil. Are you really sorry? Are you just saying that? I'm actually just saying that. Yeah, that's what I figured. Where have you been? Where have I been? I've been from here to there and everywhere.
I'll tell you where I've been. I was in the hospital room of Gabrielle Gifford because her own husband wouldn't sit in there. Oh, at least someone was there. I'm glad you were there. Somebody had to be there. I've been downtown trying to clean up the streets of this stupid city for you, Woods. For me? That's right, for you. Well, you moved here. Oh, that's true. As soon as you moved here, stupid Occupy movement began. Yeah, I brought him with me. Yeah, that's true. He brought a lot of bad luck. Brought a lot of bad stuff to San Diego. It's like somebody who's got a sweet tooth for weed. Makes sense. Yeah, look at the one that laughed. Look at the one that laughed first. Jay knows more about Libya than those turd burritos down there at the Occupy movement. Uncle Neil. You know Jay still thinks Libya is a dirty word. Yes. Real nice word. I don't like the Occupy hippie. Druggied. It doesn't seem like you would. Smoking lewds with their jeans. Smoking lewds with their jeans. What's it called? The apple bottoms? Is that it? Yes. Skinny jeans. Totally. The whorish apple bottom jeans with the... Isn't that it? The boots with the fur. It is. You don't see many apple bottoms down there. Back in my day, fur meant something different. Still means it.
Wasn't a bunch of faux fur, right? Right. Yeah. 70s. Back in the back of a real tour bus. Not like these Sally's drive on now. And then the PETA people throw red paint on you. It's like... What's PETA? People for the ethical treatment of animals. You would. I know I would. Listen to me. I wrote a song about it. Are you going to shut up while I play it? Yeah, sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hang on. Stop everything. Who the hell got me the five-cent Sweet Caroline? It's a backing track. Isn't it yours? Yeah, it's mine. Where's my manager? Maury, you ape. That's what you bring in here? You're going to sit there with your velvet jacket, fatso? Don't act like you're on your Bluetooth because you're not. Turd. Sounds really good.
That's what I have to do. Sleeping in tents. Smoking their marijuana. Thinking that they are oh so cool. They're just a bunch of potheads. A bunch of commie pinko. Holy chat. This is the worst music bed I've ever heard in my life. Where the hell did Jay get this dumb thing? Oh, God. Should have spent 99 cents. I bet he went to YouTube. Just like he does with every song. True. J is cheap. I get it. I'm upset. Did you hear the freaking music? Bet I had to listen to that thing. It's going pretty good. Get out of here. It's pretty bad. It's like a MIDI. It's worse than a MIDI.
Is this old-time radio? What's the matter with you? I think that was a xylophone in the beginning. It's the absolute worst. Oh, my God. We need a good break. Holy cow. I'm sorry, Neil. Yeah, you're better than that. I apologize for these conditions. You get to change my diaper. Yeah, I'll do it. It's a recession. I guess so. Culture, and they did a Rebecca Black commercial. We'll let you hear it next. Screw loose to go in for that sort of thing. Call 570-1949. Or shoot him a text at 949mikey at gmail.com. I got the world on a tail. The University of California, Davis, said Sunday that the two police officers that are being put on administrative leave after using pepper spray on the seated protesters. The phone calls shut down their servers of people calling in. They had alumni calling in to say they were going to stop donating and pledging any support. There's video of it everywhere. Oh, it's amazing. On my Facebook page. The police say that they felt threatened, but the videos that have been posted online show no evidence of threats whatsoever from the protesters. Woods, what's going on in sports? I'm going to give you some NFL scores yesterday. The Green Bay Packers are 10-0. They are undefeated. You know, they're going to be a tough team to beat. The Lions in a shootout. Came back with 35 points in the second half to beat Carolina 49-35. That was actually a good game. Oh, it was crazy. Good game. Cowboys over the Redskins 27-24. The Browns and the Jags in Turd Bowl 3, 14-10. Browns win. The Ravens took care of the Bengals 31-24. Dolphins 35, Bills 8. I think the Bills.
I guess it's over. I think it's over. They can't get anything done. Raiders over the Vikings, 27-21. The Seahawks over the Rams, 24-7. Falcons, 23. Titans, 17. Niners, again. Niners win again. They are 9-1. Wow. 23-7 over the cards. And the Dream Team last night, the Dream Team, led by Mr. Dream Team himself, Vince Young, beat the Giants. Which was unbelievable. Yeah, I guess. Not all celebrate yet. Yeah. Yeah. They're four and six, but they got the win. Dream team in the house. All right. Well, let's get this out of the way. Nah. Let's savor it. Let's savor this. Take it nice and slow. This is a piece of turkey with stuffing on it, run through mashed potatoes with a little bit of cranberry sauce on it. Well, before I tell you that story, thank you for helping us raise. One ton of canned food items. Over 2,000 pounds. That's a lot of food. 2,000 pounds of canned goods is what M1's brought out on Friday to Dave and Buster's. And all of that food is going to go to feed the hungry for Thanksgiving that wouldn't have otherwise had it. That's awesome. And that is, that's impact, man. That is impact. Speaking of impact, today's the last day for the R factor.
voting for the Mikey show. Oh, wow. You look defeated. I know. Why? That's just, you know, I'll be happy when it's all done. Yeah. But we do want you to go and put in your vote. Vote it up. Finish strong. That's right. Right now we are winning. So we were at Dave and Buster's on Friday, and we were asking people to bring... canned food items down to Dave and Buster's. And David Buster's was just opening their doors to clientele. Now, what we did was there was a sort of a break in the period of time where people were coming in and bringing cans. And so we took that opportunity to go have lunch as a crew inside Dave and Buster's. And so what we said before we went inside is, hey,
If anybody shows up while we're gone, let them know we're inside. Tell them to say hi. Tell them to say hi. Promotions people said, all right, cool. So we went inside and they led us through Dave and Buster's to a nice table. We sat down. We started enjoying conversation with one another. Waitress came over, took our drink orders, brought us back some drinks. I was sitting at the end of the table. Lauren was directly across from me. What's he sitting next to me? And sitting next to L.O.B. was Jay. And I looked over to my right. And I thought that there were some folks coming in, you know, that had come for the canned food drive. And so I said, hi. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, not. Who wants the honor? I think you should. Should I do the honor? Yes. So we're eating. Everyone's eating. We wish we had our meeting this week. Hey, guys! Are you here for the canned food drive? They were 50 feet away from us. 50 feet away. And that loud. And I'm not kidding. Hey, guys! Are you here for the canned food drive? The biggest ass eating. Oh, yeah. Just grinning from ear to ear. And we looked at him. Well, first of all. They looked at us. They looked at us and were like. It was shocked.
They were just there for lunch. They were being let in by a Dave & Buster's employee. She looked at us like we were crazy as well. We looked at them. They didn't know who we were. Then we looked at you. And they looked, and they turned, and they walked away. And they walked away. And they were sat. They were sat at a table. They said nothing in response to our little friend. His actual words, instead of, are you here for the canned food drive, were, do you guys have some canned? Did you bring some cans? Did you guys bring some cans? Hey, guys, did you bring some cans? And L.O.B. Oh, my God, she almost peed her. Dude, she almost peed. And I'm not kidding you. I have never seen her laugh that hard. She was holding her ribs. Like, it hurt her stomach. She was laughing at me so hard. I thought I was going to break her ribs. Her face was bright red. And she goes, over and over again, she goes, you're too inquisitive. You're too inquisitive. You're too inquisitive. You're too inquisitive. You're too inquisitive. From that moment on, every time somebody walked in the restaurant, would you scream at him? Hey, guys! Hey, guys! Oh, no. Oh, it hurts. I'm sorry. It cut to silence. There wasn't the hustle and bustle of a regular restaurant behind you. It was like silence. There wasn't a soul in there except for us. Yeah. It was an empty restaurant.
And these people came in. And all they wanted was lunch. Why did you get so excited? Why were you so excited? I'll tell you why. Because I felt guilty that we were in there enjoying a meal. Yeah, you did. I did. I did. And so when I saw him, I didn't want to be like, hey, what's up? And like, I'm trying to eat here. I wanted to make it like as if. We were outside still. Have you ever heard the phrase, let the game come to you? Mikey's usually really shy in public, so this is so out of character. It would definitely be something I would do. A hundred times out of a hundred. I wish it were filmed. Oh, God. Because there was such a perfect amount of silence that followed the scream. It's crickets. Guys, are you guys here? Did you guys bring cans? Hey, guys. With the biggest, your eyes were wide open. Smiling. Big smile. These guys, their facial expression can only be categorized as serial killer. After they looked at Mike like, hmm. Well, I think I startled them, to be honest with you. Yeah, you startled everybody. You screamed. They didn't smile or ask you to repeat the question. Acknowledged. Walked away. Walked away.
And then there was a deafening roar from our table. I mean, it's as hard as I've ever seen Lauren laugh. Absolutely. And then she'd think of it again. It would get her all over again. That was my bit all weekend. I'd think of it. Yeah, me too. I know. It was unbelievable. Woods texted himself so he wouldn't forget to tell it. It was so good. Oh, man. It got me so good. You're so inquisitive. I just wanted to be kind to the people. Yeah. The wrong people. Wrong people. They don't know. They don't know me. They don't know you. They don't know us. They don't know that canned food drive from Adam, dude, okay? They weren't there for a canned food drive. They came there for a burger. Yep. Maybe play some games. Maybe grab a beer. Maybe play a little hoops. Or maybe get a Bloody Mary like Jay did at a work event. Yeah. At a work event? I don't understand what you're saying. I was off the clock. I'll take a Bloody Mary. Excuse me? Bloody Mary. What's a bloody Mary? It's like when the kid's standing in front of the mirror and turning the lights down. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. You mean a bloody Mary? No. I was very clear about what I ordered. Just put vodka in it. Vodka and whatever. I like vodka and V8. That's it. Just put vodka and V8. Stick a piece of cellar in there. Vodka 8. Vodka 8. Starting the weekend off right at 11 o'clock. I'll take a vodka and V.
Hey, guys, are you guys here to bring cans? Yes. That's it. That is exactly how you said it. No, this is my brother Tim. He's here from Phoenix. This is my cousin John. We wanted the sliders because we hear they're very good here. Yeah, and then we wanted to. Who are you? Hey, guys. Who are you? I'm Mike. Hi. Mike. You work here? Yeah. I'm a radio person. Yeah, you're the guy I saw on the R-Factor poster. Oh, wow. I didn't even tell Rebecca. No. I wouldn't have. It's embarrassing, man. It was good. It's embarrassing. And then, shortly thereafter, we did have an M1 that was led in by Adam from our promotion staff. And she was happy to meet us. And she was leaving. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Giving us all hugs. Oh, gosh. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I forgot about this. Mike got overzealous again. Yeah. And went in for a hug when it wasn't his turn. Yeah, it wasn't his turn. And I hugged the air. She was hugging L-O-B. And Mike goes in for the. Nope. Swing in a minute. And she turned around right when I went to hug her. She turned away. And you gave a big, like. He air hugged. Air hug. Like, seriously?
Michael from the office was embarrassed for me. Yeah. The size of the hug was like how a woman would hug her husband back from deployment. Yes. Like it was like. Yeah. I was going in for that famous sailor holding the girl over hug. The 50s dip. The 50s dip. And then you air hugged and went, oh. And L.O.B. laughed like right in my face. She didn't even just. L.O.B. just. You were on a run. It was a good day for you. Great day. Sometimes you're the dog, sometimes you're the hydrant. That's right. You know what I mean? Yep, yep, yep. Summer diamond, summer stone. You were the hydrant. I was the hydrant. Big time. Thank you for doing that. Yes. Yeah. The swing and a miss air hug. I can't believe I forgot about the swing and a miss air hug. Glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. You're something, buddy. I am. I know it. I know it. I know it. You don't know what you're going to get. When you're out in public with Mike Esparza, you just don't know. Shy and pensive or inquisitive and excitable. Excitable. Oh, I love it. How about Jay just, I order artichoke dip. Weird. Yeah. Spinach dip. Spinach dip. Delicious. Thank you. And it comes to the table. We.
By we, I mean me, L.O.B., and Woods. We turn around for a second. And we're saying something to someone. And I turn around just in time to see Jay, you know, recoiling his hand back after he took it upon himself to salt it all up. Because that's the way he likes it. And I mean, salt. I mean, he salts stuff, you know. He loves salt. I love salt. He made it into a salt lick. And he's like, hey, I don't care who's eating it. The last inch and a half was mine. He did that. That's about right. Oh, L.O.B., if you had seen it, you would have gone, what are you doing? Oh, yeah. No, I wouldn't. Which you always do. Oh, Jay. You always can salt a certain section. Don't worry. I'm okay with salt. We're good. We're fine. Oh, yeah. No, we're fine. You take the other end. I'm going with a heart attack. Yeah, no. Oh, you guys. You know what? We wanted saltine crackers, so. Yeah. Go ahead. I wanted a salt lick. Yeah. Lick the other end, then. He will even salt food. Before he tastes it. Oh, always. Always. It's never salty enough. It's a bad etiquette. Is it? Yes. Why? If you do that over a business lunch, it means you jump into things without thinking. Yeah. I like salt. It means you don't care about consequences. Sometimes salt is delicious. Hey, and you know what else, Mike? You can feast. What are you going to do about it? Yeah, what are you going to do? You going to fight me? Just don't eat that end. This guy. I warned you. I said, hey, this end's salty.
No, you didn't warn us. You tricked us. No, there was no trick to it. You recoiled your arm like you just were taking a 20 out of his wallet. Once I figured out it was for everyone. After we'd all been eating it. Mike ordered it. You order for us all the time. Yes, I'd like the little man will take the artichoke. Oh, boy. That was something. Well, at least the cans came through. Everyone showed us their cans. Man, that's some nice cans that day. 2,000 pounds of cans. Yes. All sizes. Shapes, textures. Tastes. Firmness. Firmness. Yeah, Mike. You know, the cans had different levels of firmness. Get it? They were all nice, though. You know what I really like, Mike? I like when the cans would come in cups. But they don't, Jenny. Oh, yeah, the cup size. Cup size. That was crazy. Maybe. I like those cup sizes for those cans, big or small. Serving size, cup of D. It doesn't make sense. I don't care. You don't put cans in cups. You don't get it. You're just trying. You don't get it. Desperately to work some sort of reference. Sex, Mike. Wasn't it enough that you called it show us your cans? I mean, wasn't it? Show us your cans. Thank you. Thank you, Jay. You're welcome.
Show us your cans. Sex. You're going to get it before this day, don't you? I think it's an annual event now. Ah. Thank you. Sex. Pervert. Beat it. What is happening? Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Beat it. Woods. Beat it. Why do you hate me? I don't. Yeah, you do. No, I don't. Admit it. All right, I admit it. Why? I hate you. But why? I just do. Is it because every once in a while when we're talking, yes, I have an allergy problem. Yeah. Oh, God. Please don't. Here it comes. Pepper. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Bless you. This is my kryptonite. It's him on. Oh, bless you again. Oh, that's a bad one. What's the matter, Woods? Powering down. God bless you.
I didn't like you in life. I don't like you in death. Oh. Really? That got morbid. Someone called out macabre, you know? Nice. Took it too serious there. Yeah, I mean, the guy took the guts right out of the body, didn't he? It was just fun for a minute there. And then he just started wearing the guts. Sometimes pedophiles aren't funny in my world, you know? It's kind of how I was raised. Never proven, you know? Never proven. You know, sometimes I'm sleeping with little kids. This isn't cool. But I guess if you guys are cool with it, then have at it. Oh, I'm trying to take a picture. He's frozen. His upper lip froze on there. He's frozen. Not real cool. Should we just start calling you Joe Paterno? Yeah, he's making Sandusky jokes now. Turn the other cheek. Oh, wow. Shower up. Time to get the showers. I guess that's the end of me. We're finally going to get our drinks. Oh, chicka, chicka, yeah.
Let's see. You still have Neil, Mike. You still have Neil Diamond. You still have Neil, tattoo. But I am officially, that's it, Mike. I mean, after that, how do you, how can I? Hey, he was never convicted of anything. Never convicted. You were never convicted. How can I ever come back from that? I can't. It's impossible. You can, you can. You weren't convicted. Be strong. Jesus juice. Take a nap. Oh, and then he does that one. And then the L.O.B. looked at him like, what the hell is your problem? I don't know what is happening anymore. You know, you can say anything, though, when you're doing Michael Jackson's voice. You can say anything. I learned that from doing J-Voice. Right. That's right. Oh, man. We've got to go to break. Yep. So, people are upset about the UC Davis thing. Pepper spray. Yep. I wonder if they were told to leave by the police. And then they locked arms and sat there. Because I wouldn't. And the reason I wouldn't is because I don't want to get jacked up by the police. Yeah, but you have the right to protest. You do have the right to protest until they tell you you got to go. Right. That makes no sense whatsoever.
You know, we don't. Just because you have a right doesn't mean you have the right to do whatever you want when you want to do it. If you're not hurting anybody. Peacefully assemble. Yeah, you can peacefully assemble. What if they had to move them? 544. I don't know. They didn't say anything about that. They just said that the police got angry after they set up tents in support of the Occupy movement. Well, the Occupy movement is becoming dangerous in a lot of places. Very much. I mean, they had hypodermic needles in New York City where they were. I think they always have hypodermic needles. I think so, too. I don't think that hypodermic needles were created by the Occupy movement, but I know that there was a lot of that stuff going on, and it was getting dangerous. I think a lot of it's propaganda that they put out there. It's like, oh, yeah, we found this, that. You should go down there and protest. But you just said that it's been there. You just said that it's been there, yeah. Well, if it's been there, why would they have to put it there as propaganda? Well, they could say, hey, this is what we saw. They just started putting things in the news. Yeah, there was this. We found drugs. We found people being bad. Yeah, I think maybe the police need to relax a little bit. You should head down there. Oh, man. Maybe one of your kids go down there. 570-1949. Call us and tell us what you think about the UC Davis thing. You know, I have very mixed feelings.

Yeah. Well, okay. You got all these kids sitting there with their arms interlocked. Dangerous. Oh, my goodness. Very dangerous. Thug-like. What's going to happen? Sitting down. Mm-hmm. Like, I think even Indian style. Yep. To prove, hey, we're not trying to, we're not in a, we're in a very submissive state. I think they were also. Native American style.
No, it's cross-legged. I think they were also wearing bibs and onesies. No. Are you sure? They were wearing normal clothes. They were not babies? No, they're students. They were adults? Mm-hmm. They were not toddlers. Were they all wearing osh-kosh? Nope. They were students. Are you sure? Uh-huh. What do you got? I got the police chief from UC Davis said the students had encircled the officers. They needed to exit. They were looking to leave but were unable to get out. That was after, though. That happened after because I saw the whole I saw eight minute video. Yeah. The one that L.O.B. put up. Yeah. They did like the Roman style, whatever that thing is called. What I what I don't know. What I don't know is why did they get sprayed? In other words, was it sit down so we can spray you good? No. Or was it that they were doing a peaceful protest? They were sitting there.
The cops walk upon them and see them sitting there and just randomly spray them. They started to arrest some of the protesters. Why? Because they didn't want them there. They wanted them off the campus. Wait, wait, wait. How can you arrest someone with no cause? I don't know. Investigation will turn that over. My point is that I don't think that it was without cause. I think that they were breaking the law. I think that's usually why cops arrest people and they know. See, because if you arrest somebody, they're usually going to fight it, you know, later because they don't want it on their record. So cops, what they try to do is they try to have their asses covered. They don't want to get in trouble. Sure. They felt they had just cause. I don't know why those students were arrested, but. Yeah. Well, here's the thing. And we're filling in blanks because we don't know. My guess is they were told. You got to leave. You got to get out of here. And they were defiant and said, we're not leaving. In fact, we're staying here. And they sat down and they interlocked. They interlocked after students were arrested in protest of their students being arrested. Now, do you know this for a fact? And I guess then they were told to leave? Then they were told to get up because the cops needed a walkway to get by. They wanted to exit.
And it was their protest to sit there. And I guess they felt you can step over us if you need to. But we are peacefully assembling. Well, you got two types of people. You have rule followers and you got non-rule followers. They were non-rule followers. Now, I want to say this. I would not be sprayed because if the cops tell me jump, I say how high. That's my bit. But. If you are going to be sort of a person that really stands up for your American right to assemble and blah, blah, blah, and you're going to be defiant and you're going to do all that. My thought is, if that's me, do whatever you're going to do. If that's me. OK, if I'm that guy, I'm like, you're going to spray me. Go ahead. Go ahead. Do whatever you're going to. I'm not leaving. I'm staying here.
So what I don't get is this. The authorities tell them move. They don't. They get pepper sprayed. What bad cops? I mean, why don't you move? Get out of there. The charges were unlawful assembly and failure to disperse. Okay. But, I mean, that's exactly what you're doing. Sounds good enough for me. Sounds good enough. I mean, if that's the law, it's the law. How about just arrest them if that's what you're going to do? Yeah, I don't understand why they didn't start arresting them. And then if there was some sort of. violent, you know, rebellion of those arrests, then that's when you start to use force. Why are you using force when kids are just sitting there? And why are you going over them once and then going over them again? Go back. He goes back. He goes from one end to the other and then back. Back again. Well, I believe that the reason that he did that is because he was trying to, you know, make it effective. He's trying to be a hard ass. He's making it effective. As opposed to what? As opposed to delicately pepper spraying? He was trying to be like, I'm the law, I'm the...
The man of the law. How about a good base coat on there before you go back with the second slide? How about just arrest him? Yeah, why not? They tried, didn't they? Did they? No, they arrested a few of them. You're handcuffed. You're handcuffed. You're handcuffed. I'll say this. I don't know. None of us do. We don't know what the law stipulates. Don't know what the law stipulates. They will find out. Because now that they've been taken off the force, there's going to be an investigation. And we'll figure out. And if they were wrong. Then I say they get whatever's coming to them. I'm sure they'll take care of their own. Oh, boy. However, I also feel that if those cops were within their right to do what they did. I'm sure they'll say they felt threatened. Watch the video yourself. Why are they feeling threatened? Yeah, I don't think they're going to say they felt threatened. And I don't think they're going to say they felt threatened because they're just as aware of that video as you and I are. I think what they're going to say is. We had told them to leave. They were defiant. And we sprayed them. Yeah. Same reason they sprayed a 60-year-old lady in New York because she was so violent. What does that have to do with this? I mean, it's just cops going wild. What about Rodney King? Cops gone wild. Cops gone wild. I mean, it's just like, hey, it's a new thing. It's all about the police overreacting. Okay. Well, then you're taking one incident. I'm taking multiple incidents that have gone on. Okay. What about Mexicans? Are Mexicans overall, are they bad? No.
Okay, but you can give me case after case after case of Mexicans that have broken the law. So does that mean that Mexicans are all lawbreakers? Are we talking about Mexicans or are we talking about police officers? That's why I said, why are you bringing up the old lady in New York? It's another exact. If a Mexican gets busted for something, it's just another Mexican and an example of another Mexican breaking the law. You can't lump everybody in. With one group of people. I can't. I didn't see the New York City video, but I saw this one. That's all I needed to see. See both. Outrageous. What? That's just excessive force. That is excessive force. Well, Jay, I've seen guys get stoned and they've been arrested. So, shouldn't smoke pot, right? Nobody should smoke pot. I don't get your point. I'm putting everybody in the same category. What I'm saying is it seems like more and more living in a police state. Where it's like they're just pushing to... And I'm sure at the time whenever blacks had to ride in the back of the bus, you wouldn't want to protest about that either, Mike. You're like, protesting's wrong. We shouldn't stand up for our rights. That's human rights. These are human rights that we're talking about. We're talking about money. We're talking about banks. A human right is to protest. You have the right to protest. Of course you have the right to protest. And that's what we're talking about. But protesting human rights is different than protesting Bank of America. Let me get my pen and paper out. Some people see that as human rights.
Here's the thing. And this is as frank as I can put it. You know, you walk up to the people back in 1960 and you say, why are you protesting? They would say, because blacks don't have the same rights that I do. It's pretty easy. Yeah. In fact, it was black and white. Yes. But now, now people protest just because it's cool. It's like a label. from a cool department store. A lot of them do. Again, you can't lump them all in there. A lot of them did then too. A lot of people probably wanted to get on board because it was flower power and it was cool and they were hippies and hey, that's the symbol. And Woods makes a good point. I mean, he's right. I am looking at a group of people and I'm lumping them in because all I know is Woods went down there with our tape recorder. But that's San Diego. This is UC Davis. We can't lump those two people together. It's become a national bit. But those people were there. Part of the story that I read was they were there protesting the hikes in tuition in California schools, which is going to put some of them out of school. They can barely afford it as it is. Let's see. M1 Cave Dweller is on the line from Wisconsin. Hey, buddy. What's going on? What's happening?
There were a couple of things that I wanted to bring up, and I lost all but one of them listening to the discussion that was going on. I'm a three-time Iraq war veteran, and I know about rules of engagement and escalation of force. And pepper spray is considered an active denial method, which means someone's got to be kind of unruly in order to kind of justify using it. And you look at the video, and that police officer... His body language did not suggest in any way that he was fearful for his safety. And the kids sitting down with their arms interlocked weren't posing a physical threat, and they didn't look unruly. So, I mean, at that point, how do you really justify the use of pepper spray? I don't. I don't, and I can't. And I don't really know. I don't know the ins and outs of it. I mean, we're all speculating on we think. We're pretty sure. That the reason that they were protesting had to do with tuition. We're pretty sure of that. And I'm just looking at what was seen on the video. You know, that's the beginning and end of it for me is what was the situation? What are people's body language? I mean, throughout the video, did anybody really come within like five feet of that cop? No. No. And not even everyone there was sitting down. Cave Dweller, what about this? If the cops had warned them, if you guys don't get up, we're going to pepper spray you. Would it make a difference?
Apparently they did. They did? If they say, get up and leave or we're going to pepper spray you. I mean, that's really the whole point of civil disobedience is to break a law and then deal with the consequences of it. What's important is that when we see it, when people who are unconnected to the event see it, that's supposed to foster discussion. Yes. The protesters, they may have been told, hey, get up or we're going to pepper spray you. And then they got pepper sprayed. It's up to us to say whether A, that's appropriate, or B, it's inappropriate. And I think it's inappropriate. Agreed. 100%. I was told that they had received a warning. And I think that's why he holds it. The officer that has the canister holds it up as like... All right. What are you, dumb? And that's why not everyone that's standing there is... Well, cool. It's the people that sat in the walkway that were willing to accept getting sprayed. First of all, first of all, they weren't... This wasn't Kent State, okay? Wasn't it? These kids got pepper sprayed. Oh, let's applaud them because they didn't use bullets. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Or sticks. Wait a minute. Okay. Hang on a minute. If somebody says, I'm going to pepper spray you, and I go, I'm staying. I know I'm about to be pepper sprayed.
Quit your crying. They're not crying. Then everybody should quit their crying. Everyone that's watching this is like, are you kidding me? Outrage. That just made up my mind. Why did it escalate to that? That just made up my mind. I'll tell you how I feel about it now. None of the kids get up and say, why did you do that? It's the people in the crowd that are saying, shame on you. Why did it get to that point? This is what I will say then. Those guys, those kids that sat there and put their arms together and said, we're not leaving no matter what. Bravo, man. You stood up for what you believe in, even though you knew you were going to get... And I mean this. I'm not doing this sarcastically. You knew you were going to get pepper sprayed, and you freaking sat there and you took it like a man. That's badass. Awesome. Now, why are we hearing from bias? Oh, my gosh. Because it's wrong. Hey, listen. Hey. They knew what was coming. It doesn't matter if you know what's coming. You know who doesn't get pepper sprayed? Okay, so if I tell you, hey, I'm going to shoot you in the head, it makes it okay. He knew I was going to do it. I told him. That's why I say you can't shoot people. The proper thing to do at that point is murder. Jay, if you show up late to work again, you're fired. You're fired. You come in late one more time, you are fired. That's reasonable, though. You're fired. That's reasonable. What's reasonable?
Of firing someone because they're going to be late for work. Somebody would say it's inappropriate. I guarantee you somebody would say it's inappropriate. Why would you fire Jay? You're firing Jay. If you're going to show up late, I'm going to pepper spray you. No, no, no, no, no. No, no. But I told me. No, we told you. I told you. You told him that was going to happen. The proper thing to happen is if you're going to do it, you have to arrest me. That's what you're going to do. That's what happens. That's the penalty. We don't know that. We don't know the law. If you resist arrest, then you can use force. Yeah. They didn't resist. They didn't do anything. They just sat there. Well, what if I get a call? from somebody that says, well, they actually are allowed to do that. How about a cop call? I know we have cops that listen. When can you use pepper spray? I've been in a situation where they have used pepper spray on a crowd. I've been in the crowd when it's happened, and I think the cops were completely appropriate for doing that because it was unruly. People were knocking over cars and setting dumpsters on fire, and they were way outnumbered. We were drunk, and it was just complete mayhem.
And they're like, they're trying to defend themselves because they don't know what's going to happen next. Yeah, that makes sense. This was clear. I mean, they're just, they're students. Hey, listen, if the cops were wrong and doing what they were doing, then they're going to get sued. Yeah, lock them up. They're going to get sued, lock them up, you know, whatever. But I'm sitting here and I'm going, hey, man, these kids knew the score. They knew they were about to get pepper sprayed and they decided, hey, listen, we're going to make a statement. We're going to sit right where we are. I don't know. I feel like it's saying like when an officer beats the crap out of somebody, when they pull them over for something, as long as you tell them you're going to beat the crap out of them, then you were justified for doing it. But they didn't beat the crap out of them. No, but I'm saying in a situation where you say, hey, as long as they were warned, they're warranted. Well, pulling somebody over doesn't at all justify. Just spraying somebody. You pull them over, you just spray them. What I saw, it made sense to me. I'm like, hey, man, they were probably told, you got to get out of here. You got to leave. What's their point that they're protesting? What protester isn't on public property doing, you know, it's the point of the protest. Yeah. If you're peaceful. It's true. M1Guntastic from PB. Yeah, Mikey. Hey, how are you? Good. I love you.
Honestly, I couldn't disagree with you anymore. Well, give me your thoughts on this. Well, I mean, OK, so let's put it through this way. There was a kid in Tiananmen Square that was worn by a tank and he didn't move away. So was it was it right to run him over? No, that guy. Listen, here's what I would say about that guy in Tiananmen Square. Guy in Tiananmen Square was a brave dude. He was a brave dude because he was willing to sacrifice. His own life to make a point. Just like these kids at UC Davis. They clearly were as committed to their cause as that kid at Tiananmen Square. Only the kid in Tiananmen Square put a lot more up for grabs. Okay? But these kids knew what was about to happen to them because they were warned. And they stood up for their rights and they said, regardless. Just like the guy in Tiananmen Square said, run me over. And he could have been run over. They could have run him over and he could have died for his cause. These kids, they said, hey, we're not leaving. They got pepper sprayed to the kids. I say, that's pretty cool, man. You knew what the consequences were, but you believed in your cause. Now, whether or not what the cops did was right or wrong, I just don't know what the way that it strikes me. It doesn't hit me like.
What monsters? It really doesn't. And when people go, and when people say, oh my gosh, look at what a jerk he was when he sprayed them and how callous he was. I go, you mean as opposed to real sweetly and delicately pepper spraying? Why do you go back over twice? Gently. Why not arrest them? I don't know why. I don't know. I mean, I don't know. But they didn't get shot. They were warned. And let me tell you something. Oh, let's applaud them. They didn't get shot. So if the military ran over the guy. It's in their rights. I mean, they're the military. Would you, hey, you know what? You mean at Tiananmen Square? Well, first of all, those were communists. They were communists. For their rights. And they were standing up to communism and saying, we don't want this. Listen, would it have been right for them to run him over? Probably not. Probably not. Well, dude, I don't know what the laws. Listen, I'm a rule follower, man. I like to obey the law. And people that don't obey the law, I don't have respect for them. That includes me, by the way. You know how jacked up I get when I'm breaking the law. And I do. I get pretty upset about it even when I'm breaking the law. I just think same team, man. Like, we're all part of the, we're all on the same side. How do you have law and order, though? Why does it have to be us and them? Well, you gotta, sometimes you gotta push it. I mean, you can't just accept things. You can't just say, oh, okay, that's the way it is? Okay, yeah. But that means, to me, it's like, man, do you have law and order if we just go, hey, listen, we can do what we want.
You can start arresting people. Yeah, arrest me all day long. If they think, hey, we told them and we have to break this up. I wonder if that's the bit. Woods is right. I want to hear from a cop. Do you think it would make the news if they were just arrested? Yeah. You pepper spray anybody, it's sensational. Oh, yeah. Listen, I mean, warranted or not, you pepper spray somebody, it's making YouTube. Somebody was there to video it, it's making YouTube. Especially if it's a cop. But I err on the side of the cops. I'll tell you why. Everybody that bitches about the cops, you're not bitching so bad when there's a burglar in your house. No, and like you said, it's not every cop. Yeah, I know. But people tend, like me too, because people tend to lump people in. And I'm the first to raise my hand and say I do it. Because I say these Occupy people, schmucks. You know, schmuckrinos. In my view. Because I see trash. And I'm thinking to myself, if you really... want to make a a statement don't hurt the little guy because wood says it put somebody he knows out of business that was a a family operated deal and so uh my thing is if it comes to the authorities i'm gonna err on the side of them i know some of them are jerks i had i've had two cops be real a-holes to me two cops
One of them, coincidentally, his last name was Wood. Not Woods. Yeah. Wood. Crooked Sheriff. Yeah, Crooked Sheriff. Crooked Sheriff. But you know what, man? I mean, you're either going to follow the law or you're not going to follow the law. And if you don't follow the law, be prepared to face the consequences of it. Unless the cops are breaking the law. If the cops screw up, yeah. I think... Excessive force is something that's a subjective term. You have to look at the situation to deem whether or not it was excessive. And I think they're putting it out there to the public to say, what do you guys think? What do you think? 570-1949. Our phone lines are exploding. Now is the time to step up to Ford F-150. We want autism. No more autism. No, but we want autism. Yes, as opposed to all the people that are pro-autism. Yes, I'm for it, man. Let's keep it around. Well, no. There's the 1% that is not for autism. There's not. No.
See, everybody's against autism, I think, unless there's just a couple of weirdos out there that are like, actually, I really enjoy it. I love it. The higher on the spectrum, the better they are for me. The better off we are. Well, I will say my sister has Down syndrome and I wouldn't want to completely eradicate it. You wouldn't want to eradicate it? No. Well, I am different. I would love to eradicate autism. I want autism wiped off the face of the earth. And I hope it does. You're being sarcastic. No, I'm not. You really do? I wouldn't change who she is. Oh, I would change Jake in a second. And I think Jake would change Jake in a second. I think Jake wants to be able to communicate and he can't. Now, with Down syndrome, I don't know enough about it. I don't know anything about it. But with autism, I can tell you, they want to communicate. They can't. And yeah, I mean, if there were a vaccine that were available tomorrow. How ironic a vaccine. I know. But if there were a vaccine that were available tomorrow and we could give Jake a shot and talk to our boy in a second. But it isn't the cause. It's not the cause. The cause that they're doing is not to me, it doesn't have anything to do with it. They could be out there saying, you know, protesting for Mexican rights. My deal is if you.
Break the law? Listen, there's some people saying they broke the law. There's some people saying they didn't. There's a lot of stuff going on with that. It's very divisive, man, and it divides us from fans. I disagree with some of the stuff our fans say about it, and it's a divisive culture that we live in right now. Very divisive. But it doesn't... separate us. No, no, no. But I mean, listen, some people like the Yankees, some people like the Red Sox. I still hang out with those that like the Red Sox. Absolutely. And I feel the same way about the people that think, you know, whatever. Everybody's entitled to their opinion. And that's all I'm giving. Including you. I'm just giving mine. Including you. I'm not saying I'm right. I'm just saying this is the way I feel and I'm super passionate about it. Mikey and I don't agree on it, but we're not mad at each other. Why do you hate Mikey? I don't. You freaking hate it. You're wearing a shirt that says I hate Mikey. You have a shirt with a sombrero on it with a line through it. That is true. But that's not just Mikey. M1 Ben from Claremont is a cop. Is that right?
Yes, sir. Where are you a police officer? I work for San Diego County. Okay. So what can you tell me? Well, for as far as the use of force goes, yes, OC is permitted for passive resistance. It means if you're sitting there, we can spray you if you're not going along with our orders. Absolutely okay. So they broke the law? No. Yes. Oh, I thought he said they can spray you. He's saying the cops in this situation. No, not the cops broke the law, the protesters. Oh, the protesters broke the law. Yeah, protesters broke the law. So why did the cops... Now, wait, wait, wait. Hang on a second. Hang on. Time out. Now, earlier, M1 Wisconsin called in. I mean, M1 Cave Drawing called in from Wisconsin. He said something. And Jay said, see, Mike, he says it, so it must be true. Now, what do we do? Do we take this cop and we go, well, he says it, so it must be true. You're right. I'm right. We're all right. I don't know. I guess it's military training versus police force training. I don't know. It's not always the same. I don't know. And listen, if the deal is, and maybe it comes out and they're like, no, man, you can't. Under any circumstances, you cannot do that. Then I'd say, well, then those dudes need to be disciplined, man. Yeah, for sure. Why would they be at all even put into question and be investigated? Because of the insensitive nature and public outcry? And that's the deal lately, man.
Public outcry. Thank you for the call. Public outcry lately has dictated a lot. No question. Like the opinion of people and letters and cards and blah, blah, blah. In fact, it's nothing new, really. Like, I remember getting in a lot of trouble on the radio. And my general manager flat out said to me, he goes, dude, I don't agree with this. I think it's stupid. He said, but. They called this company and this company. And he goes, we can't do anything about it. And I understood. I didn't like it, but I understood it. You know, like you can get a very small group of people. It was two people in Monterey that got me fired. Two people in Monterey got me fired. And they were wacky. And when I say wacky, I mean like cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. As wacky as it gets. But if you get vocal enough, you know, and you're going after the right people, you could do something with the protesters. If they get vocal enough, maybe they can do something. You know, but the only thing and I'm for it. I mean, you could do it. Everybody has the right to do it. It's our American right. But if enough people think that that was excessive force, then maybe something could even change for what protocol is. Yeah. And listen, who's not for that? Who's not for?
Well, the majority says it. If the majority of the state of California said, look, man, what we just saw, we don't ever want that to happen again. And they got together and they, I mean. Exactly. Even if my opinion is different, look, you won. You won. Yeah. It's kind of like I had the same thoughts on the solid ad cross. You know, they'd say, keep it. And then they'd come back and fight it. And I'm just like, gosh, one way or the other, just figure it out. If you're going to take it down, take it down. But just one way or the other. Just figure it out. Or don't not take it down. Or don't not not take it down. Or don't not not not take it down. It's very convoluted. When it's down. Let's see. M1, Tony from San Diego. Hello. Hi. Mikey, what's up? What's up? Hey, first of all, I want to ask, I think it was Lauren that said earlier, why didn't they just arrest him? Okay, Lauren, how would you go about doing that? Well, I'm not a trained police officer. I know, but you seem to be able to give your opinion on what the cops should do. I can tell you how you do it. How do you do it, Jay? You get 50 cops in there, and you just start arresting them one by one. They do it all the time. Okay, and how do you do that? With your hand? You bring the truck in. They arrest people all the time. Right, exactly. But do you think if the cops say, okay, stand up now.
It's time to get handcuffed and get in the back of that police car. That's exactly what they do. You don't know until you try that. Two cops at a time grabbing each person one at a time, and they zip-tie their hands behind their back. And there you go. There you start putting hands on people. You start using control holes. They arrested them anyway. Yeah, and I kind of get what he's saying. Well, they sprayed them, and then they arrested them. Right, because why did they do that? Because now they're not as likely to resist. We are just trying to stack the odds in our favor. First of all, chemical agents or O.C. spray, they're not hurt. They're contaminated. Really? Because they went to the hospital? Within an hour to an hour and a half, some fresh water, maybe some... Yeah. You know what they did at the hospital? They flushed their eyes with water. I think we should do it. Let's do it to you. A lashing won't kill you, but it hurts. I've been exposed to chemical agents hundreds of times. It's not nice. It's not fun. It's not something I want to do. But within an hour to an hour and a half, I'm perfectly fine. And thank you for the call. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. I get what you're saying, and I thank you for the call. Jay, if you say to me, Mikey, if you don't get out of the studio, I'm taking this.
It's pepper spray, and I'm spraying you. My headphones aren't off fast enough, and me jamming out that door. You're not going to question why he's going to do that? We should have sprayed all the guys at Last Supper because they were rule breakers up and down the line. They were breaking rules. Hey, Jesus, I'm sorry, but we're going to spray you down. It's a good point. It is a good point. Do you know why? I'm going to spray him down. They did much worse. I know, but they're rule breakers, Mikey. I guess he had it coming. They did more than that. Hey, they told him to stop. So he didn't. Did he just say the Last Supper? Of course. He just pulled out of his pocket the Last Supper. Yeah. Now what? I don't get it. Jay, they used to stone people back then for way less than tuition costs. Yes. Well, I'm glad we haven't changed much. It's a little different. It's a different culture. People should be able to think what they want to think. I will say, too, I've been at... High school parties where there are three officers and 30 kids arrested. So if they can do it, I think they could call for backup. Well, there's one way to make sure that it's going to go speedy. Pepper spray them in the face. Yeah, that seemed to go real well. It did, actually. We're talking about it now, and they're on leave. 90-day suspension? No doubt about it. All I'm saying is...
You know who doesn't get pepper sprayed? If they tell me, listen, first of all, I'm not there in the first place. You know who doesn't get religious freedom? I'm not there in the first place. Well, we have religious freedom, though. Because somebody fought for it. You know somebody who doesn't get equal rights? Dude. That's true. That's what they have a right to do. They're allowed to do that. But what they're not allowed to do is they're not allowed to unlawfully assemble, which is what they were doing. All these guys were unlawfully assembling. People died for it, though, man. We have religious freedom because people died for that. There you go. Well, I would have never agreed with it. I just hate religion. Jay will just throw stuff at the wall, and if it sticks, he'll try it. He's like, hey, Mike, what about God? Is that? Okay, forget it. What about Jesus? What about Mexicans, Mike? What if it was a Mexican? You love that card. He's saying some of the freedoms that we enjoy now, someone had to be a protester. Someone had to do civil disobedience. Listen, I mean. You're going to fault me for liking the law? And by the way, since that's what gave us civil disobedience is what gave us our laws that we have today, so what does that show us? That we should be civilly disobedient? Apparently. So we've proven that civil disobedience equals good. No, not always. Just when we want to? It's in a controlled manner with an objective in mind that people think needs to be overturned.
Now, they weren't violent protesting. They weren't just sitting out there for the sake of sitting out there. They had some cause in mind. And it was legal. I don't know that it was legal or not. I don't think it was. And by the way, if they had been arrested, it wouldn't be on the news because they wouldn't have gotten pepper sprayed. It wouldn't be as sensational. But there still would have been people that are like, what are you arresting them for? That's their right. But I don't think it was. I think they were breaking the law. 5701949. And it isn't just, hey, listen. I'm just giving my opinion. I'm not right. This is just the way that I think about it. I'm a rule follower, and I believe in following the rules. Just because the rules are there doesn't mean they're right. What about Jesus? Yeah, Mike. Yeah, if you were following him, they told you not to follow him. How about the Bible? You break a Bible? What about Romans? I don't understand. Ephesians. What do you mean? You're just Palestinians. That's not in there. Syrians. That's not in there. Jonah in the belly of a fish. A whale. Yes, that's in there. Daniel, and he broke the bread. Yes. He fed all the fishermen. You're just remembering things from your youth when you were in Sunday school. What about Noah? Somebody walked on water. What about that SOB? That is the biggest laugh that we've gotten out of Jay in two years.
What about Noah? I'm pretty sure he wasn't supposed to have all those animals without a permit. You think he had a permit? Where'd he get the permit and fill that ark? Hey, Mike, you know for a fact the city hadn't gone in there and taken a look at that thing. That wasn't up to code. You know it wasn't up to code. Not only wasn't it up to code, it was probably a health hazard because of all the poo in there. Where are they pooing? Where are they pooing, Mike? Oh, by the way. Where are they dumping it? Where are they dumping it? You're perfect Noah, Mike. You're perfect Noah. Where are they dumping all that extra? Where's your Noah now? Where are they dumping all the extra men? What about that Moses? Yeah, what about Moses? Moses just splitting seeds that don't belong to him? Yeah, Mike. You think it's legal for Moses to go out there and just start splitting stuff? It's public property. Mike, what about scrolls? Yeah, what about that? Hey. How about Bethlehem? Yeah, you ever think about that, Mike? Bethlehem. Yeah. Now what you going to say? No room at the inn? No room. They was trespassing. Hey. Mary. You're famous, Mary. Oh. What about the good satarian? Huh? What about the good satarian? Oh, I'm such a good person. I'm a good satarian. Think about this, Mike. Jesus was born illegally. He's a legal alien. Trespassing. Trespassing. First moment in the world. Illegal alien. Trespass. Yeah. So what do you think about that? First breath he took. Trespasser. You think you should be pepper sprayed for that?
I bet you do. Sometimes Jay's arguments to me are like vodka arguments. It's like this. He's that guy at the party. He's the guy at the party where two people are nerds. They're not. They haven't had one thing to drink all night. And they're having a serious conversation. Then Jay comes, sits down because he's like wasted. He's wasted. He's sitting there with his like orange juice and vodka. And he's like, what are you all talking about? And they're like, we're talking about the protests that happened at UC Davis. Oh, really? Which one do you don't like it? That's me. Oh, then I suppose you got a social distortion shirt on. That's right. Oh, those guys, you think they didn't ever break the law? I don't know. It's like their music. Okay, well, exactly. See? That's what I'm saying. Social distortion, Mike Ness, you think he ain't never... I'm sure he hasn't. I really enjoy ball and chain. You remind me of the 100-year-old guy that's like all set in his ways. Oh, I don't care. As long as the Republican Party's on board, I'm on board as well. Identical, Mikey. Identical, Mikey. Well, hey, and I've said this, and I'll say it again. I do not believe that you should have one... You shouldn't have one thing that you think of in terms of Republican, Democrat. You should never... I'm bipartisan.
I really try to be... You're vicarious. You're anti-hippie. Yeah, you are anti-hippie. You are vicarious, too. You're anti... Anything that smells like, looks like, walks like a hippie, you're out of it. I would have been, like, back in the 60s... A crew cut real good. Yeah. Now, civil rights, I believe in civil rights. Me, too. I genuinely believe in civil rights. And back in the 60s, I would have supported people protesting in that way. What I wouldn't support is anything unlawful. If it ever got unlawful, I wouldn't support it. I've been unlawful many times. Yeah, they were all unlawful. You know what I like, Mike? Unlawful carnal knowledge, Mike. Wow. That's what I like. You ever hear of it, Mike? I'll tell you all about it. You're just sitting over there with your sandals. Is that it? Just walking across the Israeli desert, Mike, on a camel. You're just sitting over there on your horse that's up there so freaking high. I don't care. No. On your pestle. Your pestle. Sitting up there on your pestle, Mike. Pestle. Sitting up there high on your pestle. Oh, put my... And then you say to like me, all them ones, put Mikey up on a pestle. Mm-hmm. Sick of it. No, Kim, leave me alone. I'm going to tell him. I'm going to tell him. No. I am not drunk as far as you know. I am not drunk. I ain't drunk. Mike, shut up. Yeah.
M1, Connor from Ramona. Are you there? Yeah. Go ahead. I just feel that we're taking all our power away from our cops or our police. There's got to be consequences to your actions and people who protest in an unlawful way. What do you think is going to happen? Arrested. Get arrested. Stand there and say, hey, don't do this. There's got to be consequences. People are just going to be anarchists. No, I think you should do whatever you feel like doing. I think you should be arrested. If people are caught being unlawful, can't you arrest them? Arrest me all day long. When would you ever be in on arresting? If I felt strongly enough about something? Absolutely. Take me away. Be big stud. Take me now or lose me forever. All right. What else? both teenagers of the hippies that we would have been friends. We probably would. We probably would. I mean, that has always been the way it is. I mean, you will get people that do not agree, you know, socially. You two would have been sitting in Spanish class on Monday morning and a little bit of like, oh my God, I had the greatest protest this weekend. We got so high.
And we danced and made love. And Mike would have been like, really? He would have been so interested. Yeah. Tell me about it. Tell me all about it. Aren't you afraid? Aren't you afraid of getting some sort of a sexually transmitted disease? You're living in fear, man. You're living in fear. You're living in fear. You're letting the man keep you down. You're a sheep, man. You're letting fear just inhibit your love and your freedom. How are you really free? Lauren, I don't want to hear about the universe again. You just tell me about the universe all the time. You're a slave to your fear. I would have been the baseball player that was trying to make sex to Lauren because I knew she was easy. It's free love. It's free love. I'm totally on board with it. Are you? Awesome. You should come here. I have a flyer for the rally. Hey, you should come to my house after work. I got baseball practice, but can you swing by and tell me all about it? You can come over to my place. Why are you saying that to her? You know you don't feel that way. We were just talking about it. I'm trying to make sex with this girl. Excuse me. I'm not going to let you take advantage of this girl. Lauren, he doesn't like what you're doing. He doesn't? Oh, I'm in on the whole thing. He doesn't. In fact, he said that you guys are a bunch of stinking hippies that should be locked up. No, no, never. You said that when we were in the car together. No, I said how beautiful she is. Well, yeah, you did. Free your mind, man. Yeah, it's free. The rest will follow. Totally. Holy cow. I'm so high. 5701-949.

Real good. Unless you're a veggie. What's your wife going to do? Mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, all that bit. I would think that Thanksgiving would not be that fun for a vegetarian. You still get a good feast. You have rolls, a lot of hot rolls. Stuffing, but you better not use any chicken or turkey stock. Oops. Jamie, my wife, she's not really there yet with like, oh, I can't have chicken stock. I'm sure she'll eat. regular stuffing there's not bits of chicken in it she just doesn't like the chicken and beef in her mouth my wife and uh wood's wife are vegetarian yeah did you see that picture i texted you of her dinner friday night oh i meant to text you back on that that was hysterical and i have to say that one oddly i would have tried that one i mean it was weird and trust me i'd never get it myself it was a salad pizza it was a salad pizza And when I say a salad pizza, there wasn't a little bit of tomato, a little bit of lettuce. There was a freaking salad in the middle of a pizza pie. Now, I got to say. It was cold. It was a good looking salad. I think it was warm. A warm salad. Yeah, on a warm pizza. Was it lettuce? Oh, yeah. All kinds of stuff. It was a salad. I could do a veggie pizza, but no. It looked like somebody took a bowl of salad, took a pizza and went right in the middle. And I go.
She opened it and I go, what the hell is that? Why didn't you just get a pizza margarita or something? Here it is. You saw it, right, Ella B? No. Here, look. That's a salad. That kind of looks good. No? I would definitely try it. Although I have had arugula. I've had arugula. Let me see. Did she like it? She loved it. No. Really? I can't. That's a salad pizza. I guess I would try it. I'd try it. So it's real good. You might want to get another source. I can. You hook me up? Yeah. All right, cool. I get you. He's real busy. He's not doing anything. He's just sitting around. Yeah. I got to buy a bag. What do you want? I got to get out of here. 20 minutes. You are clowns. It's okay to disagree with people and still like them. Absolutely. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Real good. Don't freak out because people. Yeah, we just like to make jokes. On Facebook, don't agree. They're not always going to agree. No one's ever going to agree 100%. Yeah. No. I don't want people to get upset. Let's start doing stuff that everybody agrees with. Cancer is bad. Cancer is bad. I am anti-cancer. Yeah, you can't. Killing people is bad. Murder. Murder. Well, it's okay, apparently, because they had an open marriage. Oh, yeah. Ashton and Demi had an open marriage. Why not? Why get married? Listen, you shouldn't even have a girlfriend. You shouldn't have an open girlfriend, open boyfriend. It's the stupidest thing. What's the point? If that's the deal, why do you get married and why would you even have a commitment? Because it's by definition not a commitment. Demi is attracted to women just as much as she is men. Is she or is she just trying to be hip? I don't think she's trying to be hip. She's scary right now.

You can get dry. Ever seen a grown man naked? Breathe in again. Do I make you horny, buddy? Dry as he might be, because your brain is... Even though your left hand is balled up as a tight fist. Great shot. Oh, ow. To the baby maker. Very relaxing. You're so cold. She likes my breath. She likes my breath. You can do this. You can do it. You must concentrate. Because if you don't concentrate, it will get to you. Okay, that was hard to get. That one was hard to get. I will even admit that one. I will even admit that one was tough. That was tough to muscle through it. Muscle through it. Now imagine that you are laying on your thumb and you are having fragrant oil poured onto your back. I want to squeeze them.
as a strong pair of hands gently glides across your back. Don't let him interfere with your relaxation. He will try to interfere, but don't let him. Don't let him. Don't let him into your subconscious. That's hard to get through. That is hard to get through. He almost got through. to you, buddy. He doesn't have to. It is your choice if you allow it. Are we going to do it? Don't give in. You're almost relaxed. Sensation. Oh, it's big. Oh, gosh. He's getting you. He's getting the best of you. He's getting the best of you, Mike. Don't allow it. Don't allow it. Poking fun at you, but you can let it go, Mike. You're floating now. Mike, you don't drink anymore. Don't let it kick you. You're okay. All right. Now, beautiful smell of the plumeria. I want tacos and burritos. Smell the plumeria as it drips across your nose. Cocaine is a hell of a drink. Don't let him.
Imagine that you are in a tropical setting smelling Plumeria as it goes in and out. Smell the fragrant Plumeria, Mike. Don't give in. Don't give in. Don't give in. He's trying to upset you. He's trying to upset you. Just pretend it's Plumeria. Don't give in, Mike. You are now losing it. There you go. Forget it. You're done. You're done. You can't even. There's no way. Oh, I'm weak. My farts totally smell like turmeric. Because don't. Mine don't. That's true. That is true. Unfortunately, no. Unfortunately, we all do. Oh, boy. Getting to the point where you guys don't even love my farts anymore. You can't even fart in the studio anymore. Yeah, and your friends don't love it. I miss the days when my friends just love my farts.
Let's grow up a little bit. Yeah, let's grow up, guys. Everybody does it. Just fart, breathe it in, and love it. Yeah, love it. It's just, you know, you're in the room with it and stuff. Got to make a big deal out of it. Gosh, darn. I didn't tell you to waft it. Yeah. Yeah, you acting like I wafted all over the place. Gosh, darn. It's my own business. It's mine and my own business just farting for my friends. They don't appreciate it. Definitely doesn't become your business when you can smell it. Yeah, definitely doesn't become your business when you can't escape it. And it's by definition now your business. There's a new phenomenon called sleep texting, according to MSNBC. Doctors say they're seeing it more. Sleep texting. This is for real? Mm-hmm. People send a text in the middle of the night when they're asleep. They don't realize it. I have a picture of myself in the middle of the night from apparently a few nights ago. Can you see it? Texting? It's a picture of myself with my hand over my own eyes. That you took? That I took of myself. And you do not remember? It's the creepiest thing I've ever seen. And you don't remember it? No. How drunk is you? It was a Tuesday night. How drunk is you? It was like a Tuesday night, and you can almost make... I'm like, what is that? I'm like, that's me. You're like, I sell-dong to myself. Yeah. Wow. For a minute, I was like...
What if, like, an intruder broke in, took a picture of me, but I have a password on my phone? Right. It would have had to been me. Yeah, it was you. It was me. Oh, my gosh. It was me. Creeping herself out. Yeah, this is happening more, L.O.B.
