of the program. Let's get this thing going. It is 6.05. The San Francisco Zoo is reopening today for the first time since the Christmas Day Tiger attack. Boy, how about these bowl games? They're awesome, aren't they? West Virginia won the Fiesta Bowl last night over Oklahoma 48-28. That's a wide margin. And they did it really with no head coach. Well, Rich Rodriguez was named the new head coach at Michigan, so he didn't coach for them. The guy that coached them all year. Rich Rodriguez is the new head coach in Michigan. I better get my dad some Wolverine stuff. The Hispanics coaching somewhere. I had to get him the Cincinnati Bengals jersey back in the day when Luneos was an offensive tackle for him. You got that Glenn Martinez for the Denver Broncos now. Better get on that. Your Mexican-ness is what defines you. That was Michael from the office talking to my dad.
Directly. That's right. My dad's Mexican-ness does define him. Your Mexican-ness is what defines you. New Year's Day, I spent two hours over at dad's house showing him how to create a folder on the computer. And what I do is I have him do it three times so that I'm confident he knows how to do it. And then I leave and I go home. And then I'll need you the email I got from dad. This email arrived to me yesterday. Gotta love him. Email says. Email is called photos is the topic. Okay. It says, what's the date today? Third. Sorry about this, Sean. Sean, are you all right? Not a good way to start the show. Okay, here we go. Dad says, he says, Mike, you have to remember that I am 71 years old. The mind has a tendency to forget. Well, I tried to transfer my photos from my email.
to my various folders, for which I have a number of them. Well, guess what? I just can't seem to remember all the commands. Commands. Commands. I command you. To move to that folder. Parting the Red Sea. He's talking to the mouse. Exactly. Computer. He says, if you have time, can you write that procedure down and send it to me? And don't forget the commands. He says, I feel that if I have it in front of me, I will be able to do better. Thanks. Love you all very much. Does it really? He always includes that. Very thoughtful. I'm not kidding you. If you guys come here and say thanks, love you all very much, he will not say I love you.
I love you. Who's everyone? Us. I think in that particular context, he meant you, Rebecca, and Jake. It's coming to your house. Well, maybe Jake can send him the command. Yeah. I should write it back and say, dear dad, thanks for the email. Mostly, thank you for loving, and then in quotes, us all. In keeping with the spirit of loving us all, I'm going to pass your email along to Jake. Perhaps if he has a few moments between not speaking yet and pooping his pants, he will write you an email explaining how to do what you would like. Signed, us all. No, that's my dad. He has a hard time with the I love you. When he does it on the phone, I say, I love you, Dad, and he says it real quick, and then he hangs up. He doesn't hear, or he'll say he loves me, or he'll tell me, he'll initiate it. He'll say, I love you, okay, bye. I'm not kidding. It sounds just like that. I love you, okay, bye. And he'll hang up real quick. In fact, I'll call him without him knowing that he's on the air. I'll call him, and he won't know that he's on the air. I'll ask him a quick question. Are they awake right now?
It doesn't matter. They're retired. You know what I mean? No, I don't. That's another day, Sky. What do you want? They all blend in together. So he misses a little sleep today. He'll have another one tomorrow. It's all a blur anyway. It's not really living, Sky. Wow. Sean. Sean. A little rough. Hey, man. Watch the way we get off the phone. He'll hang up so quick when I say I love you. Hey, Ma. Yeah. Hey, is dad there? Yeah. Can I talk to him? Yeah. Can you hear, hon? Put on his hearing aid. Okay, he's going to run to his office and get it. The hearing aid? No, the phone. Oh, the phone. Yeah. Because he can hear on that phone. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Are you at work already? Yeah, I got to go on the air here in a minute. Oh. So I got to hurry. Okay. Hurry, hon. Hey, Pop. Yeah. Hey, did you get the email that I sent you about how to do the save the pictures and everything in the folder? No.
No, I haven't. Okay, I sent it to you, so I just want to make sure once you get it that you understand. So, you know, if you have any issues with it, call me back. Okay. And make sure, because I just want to make sure you know how to do it. Are you at work? Yeah, yeah, I got to go on here in a minute. Okay. So you understand it though, right? Well, I'll get it. Okay. I'll get it and I'll look at it. All right, Pop. Thank you very much. I love you. I love you. All right. That was different. I think maybe it was because I had just done something nice. It was still fast. It was still fast. There was no goodbye. No, you guys. That was so fast. I mean, no, no, no. I'm sorry. That was so slow. So slow. That was so slow. Usually, he'll... I'll say, I love you. And it's before even... Like, I love you's trailed off the phone because it's already being... Maybe it's because he just woke up. He's tired. Yeah. He doesn't realize how gay it is to say, yeah. Yeah. His motor skills are. In a few hours, he'll wake up and he'll be like, oh, that's gay. I got to regret it. I got to call back and make up on him. I regret it. Yeah. He'll regret it. If my mom did that, I'd be so offended. If she said, I love you. Like just now? Yeah. If she was like, I love you. Yeah. Like he just did. I'd be like, oh, mom. Sean, with your mom, you say I love you, right? Yeah, of course. Yeah. Me too. You would do it with your mom, Eddie? Sean.
I hate your ass face, man. Stupid with that. All right, real quick. Let's introduce everybody and get right into it. Skip Eddie. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 37. My brother Mark is in town. My oldest brother. I really like him a lot. My wife said to me a couple days ago, she goes, do you think that your brother Mark has any idea the fondness that you have for him? I said, no, I don't think so. I said, but I don't think it would. I said, I think he has a little bit, but he's not very sentimental or emotional. So even if he did, he's a lot like my dad. Even if he did, he didn't care. And she says, oh, that's kind of sad. It's really neat how much you care about him. I said, well, I gave it a shot one time. I wrote him an email about it. I never heard back. You know, that's his style. You know, he just, he takes it, you know. Delete. This is my life with my family. And then, love you. I love you. Yes. I love you. No. Love you, I'm out. I'm telling you, I'm trying to tell you that. I love you. That's not gay, just I love you. Love you, I'm out. I love you as a man. Eddie is our producer. He's our sports guy. He is 34 years of age.
And he resides in the community of Mission Valley. I love you guys. Love you guys. Love you guys. Skye is... Wearing a headband. She's wearing a headband. What? I like it. I think it looks nice. Thank you. Yeah, it's kind of, you know, fashionable. Oh, odd. What's odd? For me to be fashionable. It is. Skye didn't usually care much about fashion. Not so much, but keeps the frizzy hair back. Yeah, let Sean see that thing. Well, it's black, Sean, so it kind of... Oh, but it's fashionable. Sean is... I was imagining something really ugly. Oh, wow. Hey, Sean. No, I'm just being honest. I'm not saying that your dress is usually ugly. I'm not saying that at all. So first, Mike points out I'm never fashionable, and then Sean points out that he's expecting something ugly.
Well, he said a headband. Okay. Maybe he thought I meant like the Nike kind, you know, the yellow one. I was thinking more like flash dance. Yeah, you know. Okay. Like, let's get physical. Right. Olivia Newton-John, come on. Sean is our sound effects guy. He is 37 years old. In a mood is what he is. In a mood this morning. He's 37 years old. He controls our sound effects for us. Who cares? See? Assistant producer. She is 24. And in June, she'll be 25. Oh, my goodness. That's right. And she's still blonde. She's considered making her hair darker, but she's not going to do it. She's going to keep it blonde. I haven't decided yet. Let's see. Boston Rob is 25. You look tired, buddy. You all right? I'm trying to hold back a sneeze right now. He's squinting over there. I was like, oh, look at that bird. Strange. I was wondering what he was doing. Me too. Yeah. I'm having a tough time. You smoking a joint over there? What are you doing? Maybe that's it. He hasn't eaten in a few weeks. Rob is our phone screener and he's Zeth's friend. That's how we characterize him here on the Mikey Show. It's what he's most known for. Screening phone calls and hanging out with Zeth.
Zeth is our 22-year-old friend of Boston Rob. He's on the show. Never heard of him. He just doesn't talk much. Doesn't mean you never heard of him. You probably heard of him. You just don't hear him very much. Never heard of him. He doesn't talk that often. He sits over in the corner. He's 22. He's real tall. He looks very, you know, hard. But he's not. He's a teddy bear. He's got tattoos and he shaves his head. He looks like he's an extra from American History X. Danny Vineyard. But he's really just a, you know, he's just a teddy bear. Very sensitive, sweet, kind-hearted individual. Sweet. What's that, Eddie? Sounds gay. Oh, what? 570-1053 is the phone number. Mikey Show. I am not gay. I never have been gay. Okay, Seth, we get it. Mikey Show. Hello? Hello? Yes, you're on the air. I just wanted to call in and say that I love you guys and that I moved to Missouri a year and a half ago and have yet to find a radio station that even comes close and not even a morning show. I don't even listen to morning shows anymore because nothing is like you guys. This is the one I'd listen to.
I mean that, too. Can I say something? Yeah, go ahead, Ash. I'm not going to say who or for what shows, but two different people from two different morning shows came to me this morning, like, asking me about, like, what we replayed in the 5 a.m. hour. And I'm like, when they were driving into work, like, wouldn't they listen to, you know, and they're listening to our station. It's really weird. Like, yeah. Yeah. I'm, like, telling them about how Rob's engaged. This is the one I would listen to. I would listen to this show. It would be my favorite. Whenever I'm not here and I listen around, I don't enjoy stuff. I don't enjoy morning shows. Because I don't get a sense that I belong to it is number one. I go, ah, it doesn't sound like me. And if I was hanging out there, I'd be like odd man out. And then the other thing I always think is, man, that doesn't sound real. It's just that's, you know, no disrespect. I mean that, honestly. I'm not trying to disrespect. I just say, you know, not necessarily for me because it doesn't sound like a real thing. And I want to hear people just talking like normal. And we're a whole bunch of friends. I listened to that best of of us over the break, and I went, man, boy, that sounds like a whole bunch of friends hanging out. Right. Arguing and fighting and loving each other. All right, well, listen. Thank you for the, what's your name? P1 Sky.
Did you say P1 Sky? Yes. That's really your name? Yes. Wow. My name's Sky. What's happening? Whoa. Not too much. What's happening with you? I actually met you, Sky, at Street Scene a good two years ago. But I walked over and told you that I was P1 Sky and I've been listening to you since you were intern, Sky. Sky just had a look on her face like, I've been to Street Scene? What is Street Scene? Street Scene. And then I remembered that I, yes, have been to Street Scene. There you go. Thank you for the call. You made her move to Missouri because there's only room for one sky in this town. Thank you. That's right. Love you guys. Mike, let it go. Let it go. I know you'll like them. I love them. Mikey. Oh. Uh-oh. Mikey Show. Hey, this is C1 Hamlet here. I was wondering, can I listen to the drama queen song? Not right now, bro. No, you can't. Not right now. Never. Thank you. Never, ever.
The open phones, we take phone calls, get called about whatever you want to, make comments, ask questions, whatever. You know, it doesn't mean I might play Drama Queen later on. No, you will not. It just means I can't always do what I'm going to do when I'm going to do it. Let's see. Mikey Show. Yeah, this is P1 Magnus. What's up? What's up? Hey, I've been listening since KSCO. I went to UC Santa Cruz when you guys were up there in 1999 and 2003. That's cool. What's going on? I just wanted to ask what happened after the show yesterday because everybody seems a little more casual about B-Rob being engaged, especially actually this morning. So I don't know if you guys all had a big long talk or what's going on with that. I think it's kind of the feeling after. You know how sometimes when you get sick with the flu and you feel nauseous, right? And then you throw up and you feel better? Yeah, unless your stomach starts to turn and you throw up again. Yeah, well, I think that yesterday was quite a bit. We let a lot out.
And so, you know, we're not ready to throw up again yet. I talked with Rob for almost two hours yesterday. What's that, sir? You'll probably be ready to throw up again in a few hours after you talk about it some more, right? Maybe. Maybe. Appreciate the call. Two hours you talked about? Yeah. And then I talked to him for an hour. Whoa. What was that about? With me, we just talked about marriage and what it entails. It was a good talk. We talked a little bit about the reservations and just life in general. It was cool. How about you, Ashley? I just talked to him about everything that happened on the air because I think that I went too far. You? He was really, you know, hurt and sad. And I totally respect his feelings and him. And so we just kind of really put everything on the table. Because I basically had a lot of stuff building up over the past six months. And we've been distant. So we just kind of, like, really put everything out. I really expressed to him, like, things I haven't told him. And it was really good. There you go. That's good. Mikey Show. Hello. Hello. Yes, go ahead, please.
Hey, I just wanted to know. Yes, go ahead. Please, sir. Oh, for goodness sake. Wow. Are you still there? I think you got scared or something. Not a lot I can do about it, though. Call him back. I can't, bro. There's no caller ID thing here. I don't have a redial thing here. Call him back. I'm going to be lost forever. I'm going to think about that all day. What if he just wanted to know poison control's number? Oh, no, Eddie. I already called. The request line. Or how to do CPR. Oh, no. All right, well, let me just say, if it is a CPR issue, do 30 compressions, two breaths, 15 seconds, 30 seconds. You know what? Forget it. I don't remember. Oh, no. You don't want to give them the right. If you have an issue, call a professional. Google it. Google it. Try Googling it. Call nanny 911 or something. Yes, that works, too. You could try that. Mitch is on the chest. Shot.
P1 Mitch? Hey, morning, Mikey. How's it going, man? Good. Right on, bro. Hey, I just wanted to say I totally can relate to what you're saying about your dad, man. My dad does something very, very similar. Yeah. I think it's a generational thing. It probably comes from their dad, but I'll be on the phone talking to my dad and be like, okay, dad, I love you. And you go, mm-hmm, okay, all right, bye. Yeah, there was no I love you with their dads, you know. That just didn't happen. Yeah, totally. My dad had like eight brothers and sisters, so. I do think it's important to let people that you love know that you love them. Yes. I think that's important. Oh, yeah, for sure, man. I mean, I got a little three-year-old, and I'm hugging him and telling him I love him all the time. I don't think he's gay or anything. Hey, I got an idea for you. I am doing this, and I feel real cool about it. It's really neat. My mother-in-law got me a journal, and I'm keeping it for Jake. And in it, I write in it every day, and I try to teach him stuff in the journal. So I tell him stuff about being a man and what it takes to be a man, and in my opinion, what his old man thinks. And I tell him in there experiences I had with him that day, and I tell him how much I love him in there. If I read something that my dad had kept like that, boy, that would mean the world to me. So I'm going to keep that and give it to him.
So anyway, all right. Thanks, dude. All right. Have a good one, man. Happy New Year. You too. Last night, all the big talk show people went back, even though the writer's strike was on. And Letterman came out. He had like a big full-on beard that he grew. Like a full beard. So did Conan. Conan had a beard, too. He did? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. I hadn't seen that. And I mean, it was like thick, man. The beards. Look at Eddie's show on the front page of the Life section in USA Today. The beards were thick. What do you think of a guy with a beard, Ashley? I just think it depends on the guy. But for me, I don't necessarily like it because when I'm kissing them, it's like... Scratchy. Yeah, that's what Jake says. But Letterman, let's compare jokes, okay? Let's compare Letterman jokes to Leno jokes about the writers. Interesting. Cut six, Letterman. Ladies and gentlemen, two long months, but by God, I'm finally out of rehab. Not bad. Tonight's show with Jay Leno, cut 11. Let's get right to it. A Jew, a Christian, and a Muslim walk into a bar. The Jew says to the Muslim, see, I have no idea what they say, because there's a writer's strike. We don't know what they say. Which one I'd vote for. Well, you can tell which one has a deal with the writers and who doesn't.
Yeah, Letterman basically has writers. He hired him out of his own pocket. And Jay, well, that was Jay. Oh, man. God, that was bad. What else, Jay? Cut 12. As you know, we are in the middle of this writer's strike here in Hollywood. And it's already cost the town over half a billion dollars. Five hundred million dollars. Or as Paul McCartney calls that, a divorce. But that's what it is for. And the cost is... strike especially hard here on NBC. Do you realize there are actually more people picketing NBC now than watching NBC right now? You know, if I were a late-night talk show host, I would not do the traditional monologue, standing up and doing it. It's just so, you know. It doesn't work. No, man, that's so, that's an old idea. Like, it just reminds me of, like...
Dean Martin. Like, that's when that was fun. Dean Martin would have done a monologue. You know, sit at the desk and do prank calls and stuff. I would like that. Or just, you know, you could talk about what's going on in the world, but do it from the desk. That's, for me, whatever reason, I'm more comfortable with that, and that's funny. So Governor Huckabee, the guy that I support for the presidency, and today in Iowa, is the caucuses. So today they're voting in Iowa to see who they want to go to. What is that? Okay, let's explain, Ash. Wow. All the states get to say who they think should represent their party for the president of the United States. Okay. And there's a whole bunch of dudes on the Republican side, and there's a whole bunch of dudes and a chick on the Democrat side. Right. And so today in Iowa, it's the first state that gets to say, this is who we think should represent our party. Iowa is the first state that gets to do that. And they pick one person? And they pick one person. They vote for one person. One person for the Democrats. One person for the Republicans. So if you're a Democrat in Iowa, you go to the polls and you vote for your person. If you're a Republican in Iowa, you go to the polls and you vote for your person. And then after today's Thursday, then on Monday, New Hampshire goes. And then a little while later,
South Carolina goes. And then on Tuesday, February 5th, we go. California goes. We go vote. We go vote who we think should be the nominee for president of the United States for whatever party you belong to. And these first states get a lot of attention, especially Iowa today, because it like. Some people go by the theory that we're followers. So whatever Iowa does, other states will follow. Yeah, it really is, Ash. People go... Well, yeah, I want to be like them. I want to like that. Iowa specifically? Iowa. Well, because they go first. Because they go first. Because they're the first ones. That is interesting. So most Americans, well, human beings, the way the human beings think. Wow, due process. It's amazing. This is fascinating. I can't believe this. Shut up, Eddie. American wear. I love it. Our political system at work. I can't believe this.
And then what happened? So there's two people at each party, and what happens after that? So then what, Uncle Mikey? Tell me how America runs. Wait, let me get tucked in. Go ahead. How weird is it that Ashley is wearing, like, pajamas with feet on them? So, okay, so they go do that today, right? Okay. And so right up until yesterday, all they're doing is going, that guy used to molest kids. That guy is a meth user. I'm exaggerating, but they attack each other. They're slinging mud. They're slinging mud. And so today's the day. And for me, as a Republican, I'm going, McCain, Huckabee, I'm happy. McCain or Huckabee win Iowa. Either one of those guys get the nomination, I'm happy. The only dude I don't want in my party is this Mitt Romney. Because he's skeevy to me. I just don't trust that dude. He seems so... I don't like something in his face. I'm not kidding. You know how you meet a dude and you shake his hand and you meet him and he's got that smirk on his face? You know, like President Bush. He's got that smirk on his face and you go... You can't help it, though. Yeah. But you're like...
Like, you're out to dinner with this guy, and you're going to get up from the table, but you don't want to leave your wife there? You're like, I don't know what he's going to say to her when I'm gone. That's news to me. So anyway, they're going to do that today. And what they're saying is, is that, which I'm not buying it, but they're saying Huckabee's got a little bit of a lead there over Romney. I don't know, man. And then on the Democrat side, They're saying it's going to be Obama. Really? Yeah. A known terrorist, Obama Bin Laden. No, he's not a terrorist. How can we root this guy out of the caves of Afghanistan and he's right there in Iowa? He's not. It's just a similar name. So last night Huckabee was on with Jay Leno. And they were talking about how he's from the same town Clinton was from in Arkansas, 15. Now tell us about your background. I know you're from Hope, Arkansas. Yes, born and raised there. And also, of course, President Clinton. Did you guys know each other growing up? We didn't know each other growing up. He's nine years older. And he had moved away when he was like seven years old and went to Hot Springs. But when he ran for president, somehow it just didn't sound right to say, I believe in a place called Hot Springs. So he, you know, talked about his birthplace. You can understand that. We all understand that.
When Clinton was running, he says, I come from a place called Hope. Well, not exactly. I mean, you were born there, but you grew up in Hot Springs, right? I believe in a place called Hot Springs. Wouldn't make more sense. Okay, Kimmel, apparently, last night, we're going to take a break, but I guess Kimmel last night, he started in a serious way. He started chastising the riders that were striking. Whoa. And he was serious about it. I got the audio of it, so we'll play that coming up next. Got to tell you all kinds of stuff. We got so much cool stuff to talk about today. By the way, the dudes with the tiger, Sky was mentioning that a little bit. The guys got attacked by the tiger. One guy died. If you didn't hear it when we signed on, wait till we tell you what these dudes had in their car. And is that telling? Is that something? So we'll tell you about that. And who we got in the stand-up spotlight? Mitch Hedberg. Mitch Hedberg in the stand-up spotlight. 105.3. The hotel operator, she said, how can I direct your call? Well, you can say action, and I will begin to dial. Then when I say goodbye, you can yell cut. And if you want, you can wear a beret and knickers. Is a hippopotamus a hippopotamus or a really cool-apotamus?
Hey, man, if you're a fish and you want to become a fish stick, you have to have very good posture. You can't be a slouchy fish or you will be a fish clump. This is the Mikey Show. Right now, if you are traveling in the Miramesa area, we have an accident south 805. It's on the Miramesa Boulevard off-ramp. That's a semi and a couple of other semis and about three vehicles, so do be careful passing them. Coming down the coastline, looking okay southbound 5. A little bit of slowing here and there, but nothing too serious. I'm John Montu with traffic on Rock 105.3. Is this Rebecca? Yes, it is. I understand that you went to sleep train. Yes, I did. What happened? Well, my husband and I went back last... May. We just got married, so we bought our new mattress. We got a really good deal on it. They threw in free sheets and pillows because we said we heard about it through you. And they also gave us the free mattress protector, so it was really cool. And I referred my mom to go there because she is buying a bed for my grandmother just this last week. And she went to the Kurdi Mesa store, and they actually beat the price on Costco mattress.
Sleep Can was selling it for, I think, around $1,000, and then the Costco price was like $500-something, so they beat that, which is awesome. They just won Best Mattress Store, and there's a reason for it. They're really good. The prices are great, and if you're getting one of these good name-brand mattresses, or no matter what you're looking for, they're great. How is that mattress in terms of being comfortable? Awesome. I can't get out of bed in the morning. It's really comfortable. That is good stuff. Thank you. You got it. Sleep Train is your ticket to a better night's sleep. Now back to the Mikey Show. Featuring Mikey. I like to judge people and be critical of people. Eddie. I have an unusually large tongue. Sky. I like ham. What kind? Honey baked. Okay. Sean, a.k.a. Two Shirt Shakur. I do not wear two t-shirts. Boston Rob. The last two years of my high school career, I went to Catholic school. And Ashley. I hate other people's feet. The Mikey Show's on. Tell me a lie, I'm nerd alert. Rock 105.3. Hey, it's the Mikey Show. It's 640. Yesterday, a man in the Otay area stabbed his barber in the face after being unhappy with his haircut. No big shock here, but the Vikings' Adrian Peterson wins the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
You guys are really mad about the haircut. It's like Sweeney Todd. It's not funny. He did not like it. He got real mad about it. Can you imagine getting that mad about a haircut? I would just leave, personally. I'm just saying that's what I would do. I wouldn't go back if I was that mad. Jimmy Kimmel was talking last night about the people that are striking, the writers. Cut 20. There have been writers striking outside the Tonight Show, and Conan had... People striking outside, which I, by the way, I don't want to depart too much from the party line, but I think it's ridiculous. I mean, Jay Leno, he paid his staff while they were out of work. Conan did the same thing. And I don't know. I just think at a certain point, you back off a little bit. And the president of SAG, which is the Screen Actors Guild, is telling members of SAG, which I think I'm in too, but I don't know, not to do...
Our show's not to do with this show, not to do tonight's show, not to do, which is crazy because actors are all doing, for instance, I have a list of movies that, the new Harry Potter movie, the Sex and the City movie, Pink Panther 2, but those are okay, but don't come on a talk show. That is the rule that makes a lot of sense here. So I'm pissed off, I'll be honest with you. Hopefully this night will be over very soon. What is he talking about? They're writing for those movies? No, like if a script is already... They're still doing them. Like, the only actor I heard that wouldn't continue to do stuff is Steve Carell. So if a script is produced, they're still showing up to work. But no new scripts are being produced. I thought he was talking about the writers right there. The actors. The Screen Actors Guild Award. So they're protesting and they don't want the people to go on talk shows even like there were signs out there against Huckabee last night saying Huckabee's a scab and stuff because they don't want anybody going. He's not part of any kind of acting. Because he crossed the picket lines. He crossed the picket line, yeah. Here's Jimmy talking about why he was off the air. Cut 19.
We've been gone for two. We've been off the air. Well, reruns have been in our place. I don't know if anyone noticed, but we've been off the air for two solid months. You probably read in the tabloids, my fiancée, Jamie Lynn Spears, became pregnant. That's pretty funny. So, yeah, I don't know that we talk too much about the tiger attack on Christmas Day. Crazy. It is crazy. One kid was killed. There was three kids. One kid was killed. Two of them hurt because a tiger came out of its enclosure and attacked. And yesterday, the news was that they took too long to get a hold of the two people that are still alive. The two kids that were still alive were like, they didn't help us. And it took them forever to call 911. And Sky said they checked the logs of like when 911 was dispatched. And it was like. 45 minutes or something after the attack? Yeah, it was a little bit over a half hour after the initial attack. Now, it kind of makes me wonder, like, why would that happen, you know? Well, anyway, today we find out that they're kind of investigating these kids and whether or not these kids were, like, taunting the lion or the tiger. Yeah, they say there was a large rock.
pine cones and tree branches found in the tiger's enclosure that didn't come from anything in the enclosure. You know, it's not like the branch was off of a tree in the enclosure, and they don't know how it got in there, but they suspect. Well, I don't know much about the situation, but Eddie was telling me yesterday that the tiger was in some sort of enclosure that it could get out of, but that in general, they don't do it. Yeah, it's like this giant kind of... moat that, you know, is not filled with, I don't think it's filled with water or anything. But, you know, they don't ever have the tigers go down there and climb up the wall or anything like that. It's like a human can't pick up a car, but if your baby is trapped under the tire of a car, you're going to pick up that car. Right, right, right. Go ahead, Sean. I was just going to say, you know, it's been in the news a lot up here, and what they were saying was the The wall that's on the other side of the moat, it's supposed to be about around 20 feet tall so that the tiger can't get out. And when they actually went out and measured it, it was only like 12 feet tall. Oh, really? Yeah, like the tiger could get on his back legs and put his claws up on the edge. It was really bad. I don't think that anybody should taunt tigers. No. I don't think anybody deserves to die, but I don't think people should taunt tigers because it's a tiger.
It's a wild animal. It's just kind of jacked, too. They investigated those kids, and I guess they've been in and out of the judicial system. Where are the parents? Yeah, what about the parents? Where are the parents? They're getting ready with a lawsuit is what they are doing. So, Skye, what did they find in these kids' car? Well, you know, they went through the kids' car and found an empty vodka bottle. In the car that was in the zoo parking lot. Right. So I don't know if they were just driving around with an empty vodka bottle or if they consumed a bottle of vodka before going into the zoo and allegedly taunting tigers by throwing rocks. I'm kind of surprised they don't have video surveillance of all their enclosures. That's what I said. It's like, what? Sean lives up in the Bay Area, and we look at him on a camera. He's our sound effects guy, and he lives in the Bay Area. He's a germaphobe.
didn't come with us to San Diego, and he didn't want to touch people. And so he is in an office in San Francisco, in a high-rise in San Francisco, and we look at him on a camera, and it's very clean in there. Yes. But you're in the Bay Area, so you're hearing all about this. Are there people in the Bay Area saying, these poor kids attacked by a vicious, mean tiger? Well, initially there was, but once they started looking into these kids and their parents, you know, they interviewed a lot of their neighbors, and the neighbors have nothing good to say about any of these kids. Like I said, they've been in and out of trouble. I think that they are due in court on other charges this month. So, you know, whether they're up to it or not, I don't know, but, you know, they have other things pending, so it really doesn't look good for these kids. It's like, you know, nobody deserves to die or whatever, but, you know, there is consequence. Yeah, when you poke a bear with a stick, you're probably going to get hurt. Sure. You throw stuff at a tiger, he's probably going to get mad. He's going to act like a tiger. Yeah. Hey, we got something that I got to tell you about that's going to be going on down here at the radio station tomorrow morning. That's a pretty big deal. The Mikey Show has in their possession.
a pair of playoff tickets to the Charger game this weekend. That's what I'm trying to say. Give me that Charger song by P.O.D., Ashley. Let's get everybody fired up about this. Yeah, for sure. For sure. Get everybody fired up about this. Now, they're playing the Tennessee Titans this weekend at home, and it might even be sloshy out there. All right? Because they're saying that a storm is coming to town. Rally! And it's going to dump a bunch of water all over Qualcomm Stadium. Dump the water! So when we play on Sunday, it's going to be all sloshy and muddy and crazy. These playoff tickets are in demand. Are you kidding? On a stick of the town. You know what happened last time, man? It was a grudge match. This time it's going to be... This time it's...
personal. This Sunday, 1.30 p.m. Tennessee Titans are reinvigorated by their fight with the Chargers last time. We have a pair of tickets to the game, and what we are going to do is tomorrow, here at the radio station, we are inviting anybody that wants those tickets to come down Put their name in a hopper. And then we're going to select one person. We're going to reach into that hopper. We're going to pull out one name. And that one person is going to have to participate in Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. Oh, no. Boston Rob's not going to do it. Oh. A listener's going to do it. And it's going to be a little bit more difficult than when Rob does it.
When Rob does it, he generally eats one thing. Tomorrow, the person that wants to come down here, register, have their name pulled, and get Charger playoff tickets for this weekend has to have a sampler platter. What we did was, and I said this to Eddie yesterday, we were trying to decide, well, which ones will they eat? I said to Eddie, just ask Rob which was the grossest. I'll tell you. Yeah, just get the four grossest ones. that Rob has eaten, put them on a sampler platter, and if the person that comes down here eats them, then they will be able to go to the Charger game this weekend, win playoff tickets. Holy moly. That's going to be tough. Oh. Oh, no. Dude, I mean, you think about the worst ones.
The worst ones are horrible. I think of the durian. No. The world's most foul-smelling fruit. Sea cucumber. Mudfish. Dude. That's absolutely horrific. Yeah. And so tomorrow, like, and now, Eddie, what time should people get down? I'd say we're going to do this about 7.30, so I would start getting here no later than. Seven. Get your name in. Earlier. Yeah, I mean, you can. If you want to, you can get here earlier. Playoffs tickets. Playoffs? Come on. So it's up to you. Just get down here and put your name in that hopper. If we pull your name, that means that you get to eat. Whose hopper is this? Whose hopper is this? Whose hopper is this? Whose hopper is this? Oh, whose chopper is this, I think, is what she thought it was. It's not whose hopper is this. It's whose chopper is this. That's from the movie. But that didn't sound like it. Yeah, that's from Pulp Fiction. Oh, you don't think that sounded just like the blueberry pancakes girl? No. Oh, man, I thought it was a dead-on impression. Whose hopper is this? Whose hopper is this? Dead, baby. Yeah, Todd. Oh, boy. So there it is, ladies and gentlemen. When we come back...
Eddie has breaking news on a new firing. I know it. Don't go away. Also, Britney Spears missed that rescheduled deposition that was going to happen yesterday. Oh, my gosh. This girl. Yeah. And we reported last month she was supposed to show up to this deposition where lawyers were going to ask her, do you do drugs in front of the kids? And do you do this? And she didn't show up. And she said. That the reason she didn't show up is because she was sick, even though that night they took pictures of her partying. Well, they had rescheduled it, and it was supposed to take place January 2nd yesterday. And so she didn't show up yesterday. And I'll tell you what happened as a result of her notching the train wreck continues. I'll give you details next. What's a P1? A P1 is someone that turns down their radio, they get to the point, they don't cuss, and they listen to the Mikey Show exclusively. That is correct.
The Mikey Show's on. Oh, I hate you guys. Rock 105.3. Welcome back. It's 6.58. Kim Kardashian says that she and Reggie Bush are not engaged yet. Cam Cameron fired as the Miami Dolphins head coach after only one season. Oh, my. So Parcells cleaning house. Eddie, what becomes of Cam Cameron? I'm sure he'll be hired pretty quickly as somebody's offensive coordinator. I mean, that's, you know, he did a great job here in San Diego. I think.
People in San Diego would love to have him back. I don't think that's going to happen, but somebody around the league will definitely hire him. I guess it's pretty clear what Bill Parcells is up to. Well, he's already hired a new general manager, hired Cowboys exec Jeff Ireland as their new general manager. Really? They're talking about hiring one of the Cowboys assistant coaches already as the new head coach. I mean, he's bringing in his guys. Oh, wow. For sure. So we were talking about Britney Spears right before we went to break, and we said that Britney Spears missed the deposition yesterday that was rescheduled for her. What can that be? I know it, man. That's crazy. Does she not want her kids? It's crazy. She doesn't want them. It sounds like, I mean, honestly, it sounds like, you know what, I don't want them. Or...
I know what's going to happen if I go to that deposition. So I have a choice. Do I want to go to the deposition and answer all those awful questions or just not go and the same thing will happen? I want to deal with it, y'all. Yeah, y'all, that would be too painful. So she's been dropped now by her current attorneys. Oh, wow. Second set. Dang. Second set. She was dropped by Laura Wasser, who is like one of the most powerful. You know, like really, really good celebrity divorce attorneys. And Laura Wasser said, listen, I can't handle you. I'm sorry. You've got to find new representation. So she went out and she found this company called Trope and Trope. They're a divorce attorney company, you know, a law firm. And they said, no, we can't do it either yesterday. They said, no. What was their show up?
Yeah. Yeah. Well, when they filed the paperwork not to be her representation anymore, they cited a breakdown in communication with their client, which makes representing her impossible. A source close to the lawyer said that Britney's whole life has become insane and it's impossible at this point for anyone to get through to her. It's impossible. Yeah. It's really sad. I think she's going to turn up dead pretty soon. Yeah. I mean it. It's real sad. But it doesn't sound like anybody's able to reach Britney Spears. No, and, you know, her bizarre behavior continues. You know, lately she's been linked to this paparazzi guy who she's, like, hanging out with and spending the night with. And yesterday at 2 o'clock in the morning, they checked themselves into a hotel in Palm Springs and then checked out at 7 a.m. What the hell? Yeah. If you're the type that prays, you should pray for her because I think she's going to die. It sounds like she's getting down to the nitty-gritty of where you can go with that kind of stuff. You know what I mean? It sounds like it's getting to the real, real bad stuff. So, who knows? Speaking of that stuff, I guess Kim Kardashian says, yeah, I'm not engaged to Reggie Bush yet. What?
Yeah, so rumors were flying that Reggie Bush. So they're together. Oh, yes. Wow. Yes. Yeah, there's pictures. That's crazy. Whatever. So, yeah. Is she real pretty, Kim Kardashian? She's a gorgeous girl. I will give her that. She is a gorgeous girl. But if you watch that, Keeping Up With The Kardashians show, all those people are just, they're the worst human beings. I mean, they're just evil. They're Kardashians. Yeah. Crazy. They're terrible, terrible people. Like, give me an example. What's their deal? Well, I mean, you know, they're just... Very spoiled. Yeah. Which... They're, you know, they're very, you know, they think they're entitled to things. And the way they treat each other and other people are really bad. I mean, it's just a gross thing. I don't watch the show because it grosses me out. Speaking of... those types of TV shows. I had this stuck in my head for like an entire day
during Christmas break. Really? And I had a dance that I did, and I was going all around, like, doing it over and over again. Like a Sadie Hawkins, or what are we talking? It just was like, I had, like, a dance that I would do with it, but I would sing it. And it was, like, so in my head. It's the best open ever. I have to agree, it is a pretty good open. It's just the actual feature itself. Okay. Stop it. Well, Sean watches all kinds of weird TV, and then he does this segment called Sean TV where he tells us about it, and the whole feature is aided by audio clips so that we can sort of follow along. Shows that most of us have never heard of. That is true. I've heard of most of them. Oh, well, you're good. Ashley likes the same stuff that Sean does. Oh, yeah, we do. There's only been one example so far of anything I've ever liked, and it was about prison. Oh, yeah. The rest of them are things that I couldn't know. You didn't go home and watch Kenny versus Spendy? I did not. I did not, Eddie. Great show. Well, truth be told, you're a little close-minded, but okay. What's the English show, Sean? You mean Bargain Hunt? Oh, man. Yes. Which, by the way, there was a Bargain Hunt marathon over the Christmas break. Dang it, why didn't you tell me?
It was really good. I'm sure. All right, Sean. So what have you got today? It's all the docket. You know, over the Christmas break, there wasn't a lot of new stuff going on. They weren't showing any new episodes. However, we did get very lucky on Tuesday. We got very lucky on Tuesday night. There was a new episode of the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. No, you didn't. Never seen it. Of course I did. Nobody watches that. Let me tell you. Everybody watches it. Not only have I never seen it, I just barely became, like a couple of weeks ago, became aware of who Janice Dickinson is. Not only because she was talking crap about Tyra Banks. Tyra Banks. That's the only reason I know. Who knew she had her own show? She teaches models how to be models. Is that the deal? Well, she is the original supermodel, Mike. Okay. She basically ripped off America's Next Top Model because she got kicked off that show. Right. She's old, right? Yes. Yeah, yeah, but she still looks great. Oh, that is not true. She looks fantastic. Sean. And she's a model from like the mid to early 80s. Mid-20s. No, no, no. Okay. Go ahead. So she is a mean lady from what I understand. She's very mean to the models, tells them they're too fat, they need to lose weight. Well, she's realistic, I would say.
I mean, let's face it, in order to be a model in this day and age, you have to look a certain way. I mean, it's just, you know, it's the facts of life and the facts of doing business in today's environment. But one thing she will not tolerate is showing up drunk to a shoot. Really? She won't tolerate that, huh? She will not tolerate that. And her model, Kehoe, found out in the worst way, he showed up drunk, and if you listen closely within the first few seconds of this clip, you will hear her slap the mess up. Janice just showed up and the first thing that the photographer tells her was that I was partying last night and that I was late well of course she gets mad and gets in my face and decides to slap me, and I think my face is still red from it, if you can see. It hurt. I had to slap Kehoe across the face because he was drunk. He reeked of alcohol, and I wanted to sober his ass up. Is everybody going crazy, or is it just me? It's just you. Oh, boy, that sounds great. That sounds very healthy. Oh, it's healthy and entertaining, Mike. Oh, man. That's not a laugh, is it?
Slap? To slap people? Well, you know, I mean, again, we're talking about a business that really doesn't conform to the norms of society, Mike. Wow. Okay, well. This is entertaining to you, John? No, he loves it. Absolutely. Are you kidding me? That sounded horrible. It's the drama of the moment that's so entertaining. I feel like I need to wash my hands off after I heard that. I just want to wash my hands. So one thing that Janice does is she's always on the lookout for new talent. And she happened to find a new model, Dominique, at California Pizza Kitchen. She'd never done any modeling before, so Janice wanted to bring her in. And one thing that she thought might be good was to have her do a completely nude pose for an art class. Dominique had a problem with it, though. Hi, Dominique. Hi. How are you? I'm really, really good. I brought you here today for you to take your clothes off, go in the next room, and pose for a senior citizen art class. My underwear, please. My bra and underwear. No. Forfeits the purpose of being naked in a class. I just feel like posing completely mute out there is something that is a little...
Trash it in a way. If Dominique doesn't have what it takes to get naked for a bunch of harmless art students, she may not have what it takes to be a model in my agency. Yeah, Janice. Tell her. What channel is this on? Eddie, it's on the OWN Network, and you can catch it on Tuesday nights. I'll see you there. What's the OWN Network? I don't get that channel. Everybody gets it, Eddie. No. That was a... That was the sweetest thing I've ever heard. That was a TV show. Oh, pass on that. Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. It's a great show. I want to talk about this thing. Over the Christmas break, we had a family friend come to town and at the dinner table tell us that she used to be in love with my father. What the? It's so crazy. It's so weird. You know what? I'll tell you. I'll tell you. You guys make my morning so much better, I swear to God. This is The Mikey Show. I appreciate that, dude. That's very nice of you to sit. Rock 105.3. With the storm moving in tonight, free sandbags are being offered to people living in mudslide prone areas. Well said. 49ers say we're going to keep Mike Nolan as our head coach, but you can't be GM anymore.
I didn't know he was. I know he's GM. Welcome back to the show. I don't know if anybody in our listening audience has ever had anything like this happen that happened over the weekend with us. This was just a couple of days ago. It was like Sunday night. We're at the house. It's myself, my wife, my wife's mother, my mom and my dad. A couple of friends of the family that I've known since I was a little kid. And they come over to the house and we're having dinner. It's our friends, Norm and Gene. And they're my mom and dad's age. And so we're sitting at the dinner table. And we get into a conversation about the movie Love Actually. Uh-oh. Well, we're talking about movies. It's not really a Christmas movie, that whole thing. No, Eddie, that's not what it was about. That's not what it was about.
But we're sitting there, we're talking about all these different movies, and Love Actually comes up. And I was saying how Eddie and I both thought that it was kind of weird, the whole storyline about the guy that falls in love with his best friend's wife. And I said, you know, I just, I don't know about that, man. I said, I didn't think that was necessary. Why did they have to do that? And Gene, the family friend, she says, Well, I don't see any problem with that. You can't control who you're in love with. And I said, wait, wait, wait. I said, I don't agree with you there, Jean. I don't agree with that. She goes, what do you mean? I said, well, I said, personally, I believe, I said, let's say that we got a scale of 1 to 10, zero being I just met you and we're friends and we work together and I have zero romantic feelings for you at all. We work together, but I don't have any feelings for you in that way. I said, let's call that zero. And let's call 10, I am absolutely in love with you, hands down, like head over heels. I said, 10 is a very powerful feeling, right? It's like you're just consumed with it. I said, I would like to suggest that getting to one may be just as powerful as 10. She goes, what do you mean? I said, well, I said, when you're sitting there,
with somebody of the opposite sex, and you've met them, you work with them, I said, there comes a point where you're sitting there talking to them, and maybe they say something, or maybe they have that look, a way that they turn their head, or the way that their hair is, or maybe they make a joke that hits you in a certain way, where all of a sudden you go, for the very first time, something comes into your head that makes you go, We'll call that one. Okay? And then as time goes on, maybe they wear yet another kind of perfume, and you go, we'll call that two. Then maybe another day, you're lamenting to them about something very personal, and they're, you know, blah, blah, blah, listening, and all of a sudden,
They put their hand out and they put it on your hand and they go, it's going to be okay. And we're at three. We're on our way though, okay? I said, I don't believe Rome was built in a day and I don't believe we fall in love overnight. I said, I think it takes a while to get there. Therefore, we can remove ourselves from the situation or we do something differently and we don't get to 10. We stop it. We don't fall in love. And she says, Well, you know, listen, this may make people uncomfortable, but I'm going to tell you. When I first started working with Chief, that's what she calls my dad, because they worked together in the Navy. That's how she met him. She worked for him, and his title in the Navy was Chief. When I first started working for Chief, I had a very big respect for him. I definitely enjoyed being around him.
I loved him. Now, she says this, and you just see all the kind of butts in the seats in this dining room table just kind of, like, tighten up. And I see, now, sitting kind of behind her in a chair is her husband. And you see him, like, move his head in this real uncomfortable, like, almost jerks his head. He's squirmy. His right leg is like doing the tap thing, which is making me so nervous. So your dad was married at the time, right? My dad was married to my mom. And so she goes on to explain, and I didn't know your mom yet. And she goes, and then through the course of getting to know Chief, I met your mom, and lo and behold, me and your mom, we hit it off really well, and we became friends.
And I want to give her the opportunity. I want to give her the opportunity to like, no, no, no. No, no, no. That's not what you mean, though. Right. And so I go, wait, wait, wait, wait, Jean. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about feelings of like, I'm not just talking about love and respect and admiration. Because in all honesty, I love Sky and I love Ashley because I've got to know them to a level. so well that i consider them part of my family i do can even though sky and i fight i do consider a part of kind of part of my family and ashley the same thing and so in that way i love them and so i'm saying to her i don't mean like that gene i'm you know we're let's stick to the topic we're talking about being in love and blah no no no michael no no no no i understand I loved Chief, but that doesn't mean that you necessarily act on something and blah, blah, blah. Oh, my gosh. Shut up. Now, and the whole time she's doing it, she's looking to my mom, and she's going, you understand, right? Oh, my gosh. And you guys know my mom. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And my mom's like, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh. Uh-huh. But you can tell. And what's your wife's demeanor? Oh, Rebecca's eyes are darting all over. Like, she doesn't want to. They're not wide. Oh, okay. Rebecca's real good at, like.
remaining calm. And so her eyes aren't wide, but I'll take glances over at Rebecca and her eyes are darting everywhere. She's trying to observe everybody. Rebecca's wishing that her eyes were a wide-angle lens so that she could take everybody in. And so I make another attempt. I'm doing anything I can. To get her to say, well, yeah, I didn't love him like that, but... Was she single at the time, too? No. She's married to the guy that's sitting behind her? She was already married? They were both married. And she's saying she was in love with another man? She never used the words in love. She would only say love, but I would... Clarify. Yeah. I kept clarifying. Yeah. And she was like, uh-uh. No, no, no, Michael. And so my mom, now Jean, Rebecca's mom, because there's two Jean's that we're talking about. One is the one that said it that we've known forever, who, by the way, I love. And the other Jean is my mother-in-law. And my mother-in-law Jean was sort of collecting dishes and off the table because dinner had ended.
She's taking dishes off the table and taking them into the kitchen, so she's not really catching it. But because she's doing that, my mom seizes the opportunity to, oh, let me help, and gets up and leaves. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my. How awkward. And I would say maybe 60 seconds go by, and then my dad gets up, and he leaves. Oh. And so they're both in the kitchen. My mom and dad are in the kitchen with Jean. Mother-in-law, Jean. Mother-in-law, Jean. And so in the dining room is me, Rebecca, Jean, who's telling the story of loving dad, and Norm, her husband, who's coming out of his skin. And when she says stuff, his head will like. So you don't think he knew? None of us. So no, she just dropped it. None of us knew. Oh, God. None of us knew. But it's being presented in a way of like, hey, we're all adults. We're speaking intellectually here, aren't we? We're all intellectuals. And I'm like, oh, my goodness. I'm trying to process this. That's crazy. So after the fact, did you bring it up to your dad? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So there was one other thing.
So we move. Finally, what happens is we're sitting there talking for so long. I realize that mom and dad and my mother-in-law, Jean, they're not even in the kitchen anymore. And I'm like, where are they? And I'm getting uncomfortable. And I realize something catches my eye and I look and I see that they're all out front of the house looking at the Christmas lights in our block. And I'm like, oh, I got to get out of here. We got to get out. I said, so I go, you know, I said, you know, we're being so antisocial. We better go see what everybody's doing. Yeah. Because were you still there talking to him and her about? Yeah, not him. Her husband was silent. It was just her and I. And so. So we get up and we go outside, you know, and we're looking at the lights. And I love to talk to this lady. I really do. As crazy as this was, I kind of enjoyed the conversation. If it wasn't about your father, it would have been a nice conversation. Yeah, yeah. But what was weird is that even though it was, like, I'm...
I'm strangely compelled by the story. I'm interested and, like, I don't know. I'm uncomfortable. That's just you, though. You're into people and the dynamics and relationships. So we come back in the house. And I said, you know, I go, let's all go into the Christmas tree room, right? We go in the Christmas tree room. So everybody's in there. Me, Rebecca, her mom, my mom and dad, Norm and Jean. And I'm like, OK, I'm staying in safe territory here. Good call. I'm going to stay in safe territory. So I'm bringing up very sort of innocuous, non scandalous, any kind of thing. And I'm just talking about big memories that I had from when I was a kid and they were friends. OK. And so I go, I go, hey, Norman Jean. Were you guys still living in Yuma or had you already moved to Phoenix when mom got in the big accident that she got in? When I was a kid, we moved from one house to another in Yuma. And during the course of the move, when mom was driving, she got into a terrible accident and she broke her leg in a couple of places and they had to put a metal plate in her leg. My mother. OK. And it was a big event. And so I wanted to.
you know, ask them if they were there during that time. And I thought we could talk about that. And I didn't think it would be like bad. You know, I just thought we would. Yeah. Yeah. So she goes, oh, oh, Jean says, oh, yeah, we were there. Yeah, definitely. As a matter of fact, Esther, do you remember? That's when you thought Danny was cheating on you with Melinda. Oh, what the hell? What is going on? And we're like. The geriatric OC, dude. Dude. Why would you bring that up? It was like the OC late 60s version. Holy moly. And I look at Rebecca, and Rebecca goes. Rebecca goes. Like, kind of like, wow. Yeah, like, hi. And on that one. Rebecca's mom is sitting next to her. And on that one, Rebecca's mom's eyes go, oh, oh, oh. And I'm telling you, it was so uncomfortable. So after that, now, again, I got to say, I loved talking. In fact, I told him, you guys got to come back. I really love talking to her. And I could talk to her all day long. And she really is an interesting lady. But she's just, you know, she.
speaks her mind and if something's on her mind no btmf no brain to mouth filter it just from the brain to the mouth so once they're gone i'm over at mom and dad's we're sitting in mom and dad's kitchen and i go hey what was up with the uh i was in love with dad thing and my dad goes what and i go dad remember when she said that she loved you and he goes when did she say that oh wait i go you were sitting there Unless his hearing aid, like my dad's hearing aid always, it's constantly whistling. And so unless he's got that hearing aid working, he doesn't know what's going on. He just smiles and nods his head and eats. And he was explaining that when he does eat and his mouth goes, that's all he can hear. So he missed the whole. Oh, my God. No way. He missed it. So he goes, huh? I go, yeah, Dad, Gene was in love with you.
And my mom goes, I know. That was so weird. So she wasn't mad. Esther wasn't mad. I don't know that's the right word. Mad. I don't know. She wasn't bothered, uncomfortable by it. She wasn't angry. She wasn't angry at all. And we're talking 37 years ago. Yeah. 37 years ago. I hadn't been born yet. I was right about to be born. And so then I said, what about that Melinda stuff? And that my dad did here. And he goes, yeah, what was that? And my mom goes, oh, you remember. Remember I got real mad at you because we went to that party and you danced with her and I got so mad I walked home. And he goes, what? You never walked home. And she goes, oh, Danny, like you don't remember anything. And I'm like.

So if I double that, 30% for those two mountains, that's 60% or 12.6 days. Dude, I'm busting out the fuzzy logic and getting in 50-plus days this season. There's like pictures, take a picture of me next to like, you know how the people are dressed in like outfits of Warner Brothers cartoon characters? Like the mascot type. Yeah, I'm standing next to like Petunia, you know, the girl one with the pink dress, you know? Why would they have me take a picture? Why would I... Explains so much. I'm so weird. All right, welcome back to the show. Like walking in the rain and the snow. You know what I think we should do? It's been quite a while since we've done this particular thing. I mean, if it was no, she'd just say no. Right. That's right. I don't think they should let you guys play at the same table. That's not fair. They cannot let you play at the same table. It's not a double team. Well, what they do is they team up on everything. They work in tandem. How can you do that? We don't have signs or calls. Because you don't go against each other when you have hands. That's not true. It is true. I've witnessed it many times.
It's true. Every time we play with you two. They better not let you guys play at the same table. It's not fair. I'll place a call over there. Thank you. This guy's so irritated that we're going to screw up the plan. Fine. He won't play. Oh. See, it was your plan. That's terrible. It was your plan. We hadn't decided either way. We hadn't discussed it. What's going on, Spy? They're being dumb. Yeah, Sky, what's going on? No, we are not. No, I don't understand. We know what they're up to. Is it because of a normal reason, right? He's not part of the show, even though we referenced Mr. Sky. He wants to go play cards, but he doesn't want to be Mr. Sky. Nobody would know. Nobody would know. Well, if you guys are saying he's going to be there, people are going to know. How? Because he's wearing his Mr. Sky shirt. That's how. I'm Bunny Boo. Yeah.
Leave him alone. He's the best. He doesn't deserve this. Can't play at that table. Unbelievable. First up is P1 Freeway. Freeway, are you there? Yeah. All right, I'm going to play you a clip of Ashley. Let the whole clip play, and then when it's done, tell me who's singing or what song it is, and you'll win, okay? Thank you. Here we go. I don't know what that is. That was garbage. I don't know. That was garbage. But P1 Freeway, can you give me the person that's singing it? Absolutely not. Don't blame me on that one, dude. I'm not going to fault you there. Is it really not hard? I think it was pretty hard. I don't know what it was. I purposefully didn't look to see what it is, so I don't know. P1 Uncle Albert, are you there? Oh, man, don't give me that one. Don't give me that one. I'm sorry, bro. Uncle Albert. I'm sorry. We love Uncle Albert. I love Uncle Albert. Uncle Albert, we're so sorry. Don't make him. So sorry. Uncle Albert. I'm going to play it for you again. No, he said he doesn't. And when it's all done, I just need title or artist for you to win. I hate that song.
What does it matter with you? It's garbage! Is she choking at the end? Maybe it is a little tough. She's doing the Princess Bride impression again. Stop it. Stop it. See? Put that to music. P1 Uncle Albert, can you give me a title or artist to win? No, that's not her tone. That's not her tone. You're right, it's not. Thank you, Uncle Albert. Dude, it was Macy Gray. I don't believe that. Whose tone is this? It's like her own tone. So, it's not my fault. That's what that was. I disagree. Wow. You disagree, Eddie? Yes. I do not. These are not the same. I think I changed my mind. These are not the same. That is not what that was. It's garbage. Oh, wow. Oh, my goodness. P1 Mike, are you there? Yes, sir. All right, dude, are you ready to give it a try? I'm ready. All right, bro, here's your clip.
I don't even know that. Hang on, hang on. At one point, I looked over at Skye, and halfway through that, it was as if somebody put smelling salts under her nose. She started to smile. That's not a smile. P1 Mike, can you give me a title or artist on that? I'll give you a guess about No Doubt. It was not no doubt. Skye, did you know what that was? You bet, Skye. That's what I thought. Oh, come on. It was Dave Matthews' band. That's crazy. Sounded a little different when Ashley did it, but still crazy. Sounded a little different when Ashley did it. How dare you.
P1P52. What up? Chill down. That's going on, dude. You ready to do this right? I am prepared. You're going to be our first winner today. Come on. We need one. I can feel it, dude. I can feel it. All right. Let's do this. All right. Can you give me a title of artist P1P52? That was Blink, wasn't it? That was Blink. It sounded like the Chinese national anthem. It did. You're right. Congratulations. You won. Hang on. All right. It's for you, Eddie. No, thank you. I will pass. Holy cow. You missed it. Hey, we got to take a break. And when we come back, oh, my goodness. I got stuff for you. When we come back, I got to tell you about this. There's a poll out.

All the states. get to say who they think should represent their party for the president of the United States. Okay. Iowa's the first state that gets to do that. And they pick one person? And they pick one person. I can't believe this. Shut up, buddy. The American way, I love it. Our political system at work. I can't believe this. And then what happened? Welcome back. It's 7.53. Well, Brittany has been dumped again by her lawyer. Her lawyer this time said representing her was, quote, impossible. Bill Parcells says, sorry, Cam Cameron, you're done, as the Miami Dolphins head coach fired after one season. I told you we were going to do a list of the worst actors and actresses in 2007, and we will. However... Let's get down to business, get the business out of the way, and then we'll get to that. We do something called Cheaters Hotel here. What do you want from us? Oh, that's the business you speak of? What do you want from us? We do something here on the show. This is the business you want? Well, we do something. It's called Cheaters Hotel. It's a risky business. We do it. But someone's going to do it. It's a risky business. So here's what we do. You go to MikeyShow.com, and you tell us if you think that your husband or your wife or your boyfriend or your girlfriend is cheating. And then we'll call them and we'll say, hey, you won a night stay at a hotel. We have a fictitious hotel we give them. And we say, you won this. All you got to give us is the name of your guest. We'll put it on a gift basket for you. If they say your name, then you're usually good. But if they say somebody else's name, it's usually indicative of something very, very bad. The opposite of good. And so we got an email.
and the email was from Tony, but it's Tony with an I. It's a girl. Oh. Tony, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. How old are you? Me? I'm 26. Okay, I'm going to write down information. You've heard how we do Cheaters Hotel and Everything, so you know the routine. I'm going to ask you a bunch of questions and find out stuff about you and about you. Is this your boyfriend or your husband? It's my boyfriend. We're not married. Okay. So I'm going to get some info from you, and then we're going to roll with this, all right? Yeah. All right, so this is your boyfriend, and what's his name? His name is Scott. Okay, Scott. He calls him Scotty, but his name is Scott. And you're Tony with an I? Tony with an I, yeah. Now, when I call him, should I call him Scott or Scotty? Call him Scotty. Okay. And how old is Scotty? He's 28. All right, so he's a couple years older than you. Yeah. How long have you guys been dating? We've been, well, we were friends probably for about three years, and, you know, kind of just... that way and then it developed. So I'd say probably together as a couple, a little over two, but like known each other for about five. Okay. Okay. Together two years. Got it. Yeah. And why do you think that Scotty is cheating? Well, um, it seems pretty obvious to me and I've done everything to basically flat out ask him. He, um,
Where he works, he works with a lot of women, let's just say. And I know for a fact that there's one woman that he works with who has a huge crush on him. We went to his holiday party. This is the second year in a row that I've gone to his work party with him. And this stupid-ass girl, like, oh, I'm sorry. What's her name? Her name? Rebecca. Yeah, or Becky. Yeah, when I said Becky, anyway. I'm just like, I feel sick to my stomach that I can't believe I'm even doing this. But I have to know because it's just disgusting. So what's the deal with Becky? Well, she, oh, God, I totally want to throw out. At the party this year, it was even worse. Like last year, it was just like, oh, hi, you know, this is my girlfriend, Tony. Oh, hi. And she's like, oh, that's your girlfriend? No. You know what I mean? Yeah, like, that's your girlfriend. And I said something to Scotty. I find it very hard to believe that right in front of you she goes, that's your girlfriend. That's what men say, though. That's what guys say. That's what Scotty said. Scotty was like, I think you're reading into it. She didn't say it like that. I can almost see this, that this is the way it really went down. This is my girlfriend.
Tony and this girl Becky goes, oh, this is your girlfriend. But Tony's turning it into, this is your girlfriend? No, no, no, no. Because that's the biggest difference. Well, not the biggest difference, of course, but one of the biggest differences between men and women is women know when other women are being catty. I mean, they just know. Thank you. So anyway, so last year she's like, oh, that's your girlfriend? And this year... She was, like, I mean, like, every single, they had a really good DJ, actually. They decided to get a great DJ instead of just, like, play, you know, regular holiday music. And so every, like, booty-shaking song, she was, like, out there. She was, like, come on, like, rubbing her butt up against them and everything. I mean, just, like, totally over the, this was, like, even before the drinks were flowing, okay? I mean, like, we had just got there, and they were saying, oh, yeah, we got a DJ this year. And she was, like, oh, my God, Scotty, let's go dance. Let's go dance. And I like to dance, but I'm not the biggest fan. You know, I don't want to dance every single song. So, you know, I wanted to be... But how did he react? Was he into it or, like, I don't get... I mean, he was into it. I mean, at first, he gave me the sort of, like, you know, that looked like, oh, is it okay? You know, and I was like, yeah, you know, I wanted to be the bigger person. I'm like, you know, we're at a holiday party, you know. I don't want people to think that...
you know, that I'm, like, super jealous or something. Eddie, if you were at a holiday party and Ashley wanted to dance with you, you would go dance with Ashley and your wife would not be jealous because she knows Ashley. But I could totally see you guys going out there, getting crazy. But if it's a girl that my wife doesn't know that we work with that wanted to dance with me, I don't know that my wife would be cool. Like, she would probably be like, I don't know who that is. No, I don't really appreciate that. Yeah. The way you're dancing. And that's what I'm saying. I mean, she was just, like, she was, I don't even know, like, she was, like, trying to be some video girl or something. She's got nothing, anyway. She has, like, no. Take it easy. Nothing in her trunk at all. Okay, Tony, we're getting started. Sounds hot. All right. I asked him. Sweet. On the way home, I was, like, did anything, has anything or is anything? Because I wanted to be sure, because a lot of men say, Oh, well, you didn't ask me directly. You didn't want to leave a loophole. That's right. So I said, has there ever been and is there anything that I should worry about with Becky? And he was like, no. He's like, we just worked together. She gets a little crazy. You have nothing to worry about. That's an interesting phrasing. And women, my own wife has used that phrasing before. That phrasing is interesting.
Should I be worried about anything? I've heard that before. Should I be worried? Which I think is a very odd way. Yes, honey, I believe you should be petrified. Because we don't want to. I mean, I hate. I love Scotty. He's a great guy. We bought a house together. I'm definitely planning my life with him. But you have to understand, though, a lot of men. And I don't want to believe that all men are cheaters. I really don't. I really don't. Because he's such a great guy. When we ask questions that way, it's because we know if we flat out ask you, you're just going to lie. It's that whole thing when your parents say, oh, tell me the truth and you won't get in trouble, what happened? You always got in trouble. So you try to ask it in a night, you know, I didn't want to be threatening and be like, I can't believe you're dancing with that hooker, blah, blah, blah, blah. So it was your way of giving him like a window to maybe tell you if something was going wrong in your relationship or whatever. To take, yeah, to take the high road, you know what I mean? To do the mature thing and, you know, just because, I mean, honestly...
If he would say yes, I don't really even know what I would do. No guy is going to, yes, honey, there's something for you to worry about. But I understand the spirit of why you're asking him, and I understand all that. But he says no. It's killing me now. I can't sleep. I haven't been able to eat very much. The email that she wrote to Eddie was this gigantic thing, and I'm like, dude, I don't want to see. Because he's like, you want to read this email? I'm like, it's two pages of stuff. Yeah. That's a lot of stuff. No, no, no. I understand. I understand. Well, here's what we're going to do. Oh, boy. We're going to take a break. And when we come back, I'm going to call Scotty. Scotty? I'm going to tell Scotty that we're going to give him this night stay at a hotel. Does he want to stay there? We got this free gift basket for him. And then I'm going to tell him all we need from you. is the name that you want us to put on the gift basket with yours. You want it to say Scotty and, and if he says Becky or Rebecca, it's probably not good. If he says Tony, then you need to reevaluate some stuff. So we will take a break, and when we come back, we'll call Scotty, okay? Okay. All right, hang on the line. Oh, boy. Wow. Mm-mm-mm. Mm-mm-mm.
I'm so split. Like, part of me thinks she sounds super cool. Like, there's a part of me that thinks she sounds, like, really cool. There's another part of me that goes, well, she's rather chatty, isn't she? She's very chatty. An awful lot to say there. I'm not saying, you know, it's not like I'm going, I want women to be quiet, blah, blah, blah. That's not it. I'm just going, I don't know. Okay, already. She also sounded cool. When we come back, we're going to call Scotty. Tony's 26. She's a girl. Scotty's 28. We're going to call Scotty. Offer him a night stay at a hotel. If he says Tony, he's probably not cheating. If he says Becky or Rebecca, he probably is. I'm going to rock 105.3. Last year, I bought a house. Changed jobs. I had a beautiful baby girl.

When we left, we were talking to Tony. Tony is 26 years old. We're going to call Scotty. Tony, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. You know the rules, but I'm going to run them down with you anyway because I have to, okay? Yeah. So I'm going to call Scott. I'm going to offer Scott a night stay at a hotel. Scotty. I'm going to tell Scotty that he has won a free night stay, and I'm going to offer him a gift basket, and I'm going to tell him that the gift basket's free, everything's free, and whose name can I put on the gift basket along with his name, Scotty.
If he says your name, Tony, you probably don't have anything to worry about. Yeah. Now, if he says the name Becky or Rebecca or any other name for that matter, then Tony, then it probably is not good. And so the only thing that I want to remind you is to stay very quiet until he gives a name. As soon as he gives a name, no matter what the name that he gives is, I'm going to tell him. that we're on the radio, you can then talk to him. Just if he says something other than Tony, please do not curse, okay? But light him up if you want. Light him the hell up if you want. Tony, do we understand? No cursing if he says something other than your name, okay? Yeah. Hang on, okay? Okay, here we go. Hello, can I please speak to Scotty? This is Scotty.
Hey, Scotty, how are you? My name is Steve, and I'm calling from the Orion Hotel, San Diego's newest premier high-rise hotel. We're located in the heart of the gas lamp. How are you this morning? Oh, good. How can I help you? Well, actually, the reason that we're calling is because somebody entered your name into a drawing that allows you to spend one evening for free in our hotel, courtesy of Orion Promotions. What's the name of the hotel? It's the Orion Hotel. Orion. I've never heard of it. of it. It's a brand new hotel. It's in the gas lamp, and that's the reason that we're calling you. Orion Promotions wants you to be able to get to know the hotel a little bit better, and there's no obligation whatsoever. Where in the gas lamp? I mean, I've never heard of this place. It's located just off 5th Street, and it's towards the convention center. It's just off 5th Street towards the convention center, and we'll give you directions. We'll send you a map and everything on how to get there and show you where it is, but there's no obligation to you. You don't have to purchase anything at this time. It's a beautiful hotel. We hope you enjoy. And Orion Promotions offers this as a way to encourage guests to think of the Orion Hotel the next time you're in the gas lamp. And this is for free. It's all for free, and there is absolutely no obligation whatsoever. The only thing that I need to let you know is that upon arriving at the hotel, you will give a refundable deposit. And as long as you don't use the phone, the deposit is for the phone.
any room service, if you use the mini bar, if you order anything, pay-per-view on the television, you'd be charged for that. Oh, you mean the incidentals? Any of the incidentals whatsoever you're charged for. But other than that, you're not charged for anything at all. And we just, like I said, hope that you think of the Orion the next time that you're in the gas lamp, you enjoy your stay, and that you may want to stay with us again. And as an added bonus, we're extending a gift basket to you as our guest. It's a complimentary champagne and strawberries gift basket. And I also need to inform you at this time that not only will you be responsible for the room incidentals, but you have a non-transferable gift. So this is a non-transferable promotion. In other words, I can't give it to you and then you give it to someone else. It has to be used by you and you only. Other than that, we hope you enjoy yourself at the Orion Hotel. We'll get you the gift basket. And does it sound like something you might be interested in? Yeah. Yeah. That sounds good to me then. Okay. All I need to get from you is the name of the guest that you'll be bringing so we can put it on the gift card. And I can go anytime to this hotel, right? You have up to 30 days to pick the night of your stay. Okay. Okay. All right. Then can you put the gift basket to Toreen? It's T-O. Oh, my God. Scott, did you just... Are real estate agents sold us the house?
Hang on just a second. Hey, Scotty, this is Mikey from Rock 105, and I need to let you know that you're on the radio and ask you to not use any foul language. And, Tony, I want to remind you not to use any foul language. Scotty, the reason that we called is we're not really calling from Orion Promotions. We're calling from the Mikey Show. And your girlfriend, Tony, wanted us to call you because she thought that you were cheating on her with someone named Becky or Rebecca from work. I didn't catch the name. Did he say Corrine? No, he said Toreen. He said Toreen. Do you know who that is? Yeah, that's our real estate. That's the woman who sold us our house. Okay, last year. Have you been sleeping with her since then? You know, I'm not going to do this on the air. I'm not going to do this on the air. Well, you should do it somewhere because I'm completely thrown for it. I called him because that stupid skank was all over you. Hey, hey, hey, Tony. Hey, in all fairness, he didn't say the person's name you thought he was going to say.
In all fairness, he didn't say the person's... He hung up. I was completely blindsided. I had no idea. Try to call him back. Ashley, try to call him back. Did he seriously hang up? Yeah, he hung up. Wow. Oh, my God. That's our real estate agent. That's the woman who sold us our house. How old do you think she is? I know she's older than I am. I think she's probably like... I know she's in her 30s. She's got to be at least like 35. I mean, that's like super old, but come on, I'm 26. Did you ever suspect or see anything strange between the two? Oh, my God, no. I would never in a million years. I mean, she's... I don't even know what to say. I'm completely... Yeah, I kind of am, too. Yeah. Wow. How do you say her name? Corrine. That's a pretty unique name. No, what is going on? It's like Corrine, like you said, but with a T. Yeah, like Maureen, but with a T. And we had asked her. It's so stupid. Because when he saw her card, I was like, well, that's a really interesting name. And I thought it might have been like Oprah. Like they misspelled it on the birth certificate or something. And she just kept it. And she goes, oh, no, no. It's some kind of gem or something like that. Was there any kind of like dynamic between the two of them? No. Ashley's waving her head. He won't come on.
Oh, no. It sounds like his phone's off because it's just going straight into his voicemail. When you met, Tony, when you guys met the real estate agent, Toreen, was there any dynamic that you noticed between the two of them? No? No. I'm in total shock right now. This was a year ago, you guys? This was a year ago. We bought that. We closed. Like, everything was done. By, what was, I think it was, like, by Valentine's Day last year. We bought in January. Everything was closed. Like, everything was done by Valentine's Day. Wow. And we celebrated our first, you know, our... And by the way, by the way, I, ever since we did this about three times ago, I pointed out a million times to this guy, or at least twice, that this is non-transferable. Yeah. This is not a gift. Yeah, he did. So he's not... I was going to say, maybe he was giving it as a... He's not giving anything. But that, he made that perfectly clear. Maybe it's another Toreen. Yeah. I've never heard that name in my life. Now, Tony, you both bought the house together, or did one of you buy the house? I'm sorry. I feel like I'm going to throw up. No, we bought it together. That was the thing is that he really wanted to get married, and I was like, you know, for some reason, I'm such an idiot, but I'm thinking, oh, it's probably easier to buy a house than it is to get married because then we can just, you know, divide it and do whatever.
If anything, oh my God. We're getting phone calls, Tony. P1 Renegade, are you there? Yeah, I'm here, bro. Go ahead. I was thinking that maybe Sean might want to build like a dummy webpage for the Orion Hotel because smart cats like this dude are just going to Google it if they're at work in front of their computer. And I would think a lot of people are getting busted at work. And if there's a dummy site that shows like an elaborate, you know, fake hotel. I kind of felt like there was some buy-in in time. I got that vibe like when we were talking to him. You know, he's like, what's it called again? When he asked where exactly it was. Yeah. About the address. Yeah. And everything. So maybe you guys could just come up with a fight. I might say that, though. Like, if I got a phone call like that, and I'd be like, the Orion in, like, in the gas lamp? Yeah. Yeah. Like, I would never have. Yeah. Like, I would Google it, too, because a lot of times you think, first of all, you think it's some, you know, theme phone call. Yeah. They're like a website, man. That'll solidify their... That's interesting. There is a Ryan Hotel group. Really? Online, yeah. Wow. That was fictitious. I made it up. All right. It was a play on Omni. I just thought it was a cool name for a hotel. I can still make one. P1 Talon, or actually, this is P1 Troy. Are you there, Troy? I'm here, Mikey. How are you doing? Good. Go ahead. You know, as much as Cheetah's Hotel gives me the willies,
to listen to, if Tony's still on the phone, does she happen to have Tareen's business card? Get her on the line instead of... Do you have the business card, Tony? I thought you were looking for a real estate agent. I know her number by heart. You know her number? I know her number by heart, yeah, because like I said, we were in constant communication, making sure that... The thing is, is that we... Hang on a second. Hang on a second. That's a good idea. Tony, hang on a second. I'm going to put you on hold. And I want Ashley to get the number. And we'll see if she'll come on the air. Can you hang on a minute? Yeah. Why don't we take a break? And see if Torino come on the air. And try him again, too. Okay. We'll be back. I love you, Michael. I love you, too. What are you even talking about? The Mikey Show. Rock 105.3. And then tried Scotty again and straight to voicemail. Can you get in trouble for that? Oh, the real estate agent? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, she can lose her job, I'm sure. I wonder if you could lose your license. Yeah, well, because, you know, they work for these companies, you know, and the companies, I'm sure, have some sort of policy about sleeping with clients and fraternization and what have you. That's very unprofessional. And, you know, and I feel so bad for, you know, I don't know what they're going to do with their house now. Aye, aye, aye. Well, he could have been, but there was definitely more than one name he was throwing around. So, Sean, wait, Sean, Talon, and Sky. Yeah. I hear the long pause, and I'm like, hmm, he's trying to make his mind up between his actual girlfriend and this person. Yeah. and you guys are making the leap. Nope, he was considering multiple women. That's what I'm saying, because, I mean, if you're cheating on your significant other, and you have an opportunity to cheat without getting, you know, any backlash whatsoever, you're going to take it. Yeah, well, I understand that, but how does that equate to multiple women? I have an answer. Go ahead, Ashley. He took that long pause, but then right after he was like,
And I can go whenever I want, right? And you were like, yeah. And he was like, okay. Took another long pause and then said Toreen. So, I mean, that pretty much. How does that women? How is that not that he's just thinking about? Because if you're cheating, you would never consider your significant other for a hotel visit. I don't know about that. I don't know that I do. Yeah, I don't know about that. Hey, listen, it's one guy. I think he has a harem. You think? Yeah, he's got like 12. All right, Talon, thanks. All right. That's Talon. P1 David. Mike. What's up? I got a little Hoover thought on the complete opposite spectrum, all right? When you were listing the things, the bar bill, all the things you usually do, the incidentals, you said you didn't use the term incidentals, which you always usually use. He then used O, incidentals, which was kind of odd to me because Sounded like a listener. And the week, the last Cheaters Hotel, when it was, when the guy knew it was a Mikey show and he had the sky there, I could see me being the kind of jerk I am. If my girlfriend was playing with me like that or had some suspicion and she was wrong, I might just throw out a fake name to throw off and piss her off and then say, babe, I don't want to talk to you on the phone. Let's take what you're saying into consideration. The things that I were listing off were incidentals.
No, but he's saying that the fact that the guy knew the term incidentals means he must have heard it. Yeah, I mean, the things I was naming... Like, we all know what incidentals are. Wait a minute, Mike. He used the word toothbrush. Now, we all know that that's a whole cheating term. The Mikey Show is the only one who uses the word toothbrush. Mike, I just don't hear too many people use incidental. Well, when you're speaking about that in particular, it is incidentals. Correct, you are. But I'm saying he used the particular grammar that Mike used. What else would you call it? What would you call it? Yeah, what do you call those things? Extra junk. But if you combine that... If I was ignorant, I'd call it extra junk. I mean, that's... Okay, dude, well... Extra stuff. I'm not debating the grammar part of it. You're right. It is the correct term. I mean, that's what somebody would say if he's... Okay, so he's... Because what I heard was him saying, just to get this straight, the only thing I got to pay for are the incidentals. And you're like, if that guy was for real, he would have said, let me get this straight. Only thing I got to pay for is the extra stuff.
No, not necessarily. I just never heard you not use the term incidentals when describing it, which struck me as odd. You're using much more on your game when it comes to saying incidentals than listening. All right. It's your fault, Mike. Maybe you're right. You could be right. You could be right. I don't know what's going on. He got mad at me at the end, too. Whatever, Mike. Goodbye. I'm sorry. Maybe you're right. Maybe the guy. Knew what was going on. I didn't get that vibe this time. I got a pretty high BS meter, man, and it was not going off on that guy. Yeah, and I don't know if what the guy who just called about the incidentals was saying is true or not, but he was claiming if it was him and he knew his girl was setting him up, he'd give a fake name just to show his girl. Just to ruin your relationship? That's not smart. Yeah, I don't know any guy who would do that. I kind of see where that guy's coming from that just called in. Really? His one example is kind of wishy-washy, But if you combine that with the fact that he was very like, and where is this hotel? Like kind of trying to see if it was really real. And then combine that with the fact that he said Toreen, the real estate agent from a year ago. When meanwhile, she thought it was Becky. So in other words, to show his girlfriend a lesson. To give his girlfriend a lesson for doing such a ridiculous thing to him on the air. Such a humiliating thing to him on the air. He says, I'll show her. I'll convince her I'm cheating.
No, because what if he isn't cheating? And then he was like, I'm just going to mess with my girlfriend and tell her the real estate. Let's say, for instance, this is something I would do. So I'm like with this guy. Okay, so let's say that that is exactly what he did. Now, boy, he got her. All right. She's convinced that he's cheating. So now all he has to do is convince her that he didn't mean it. Oh, I wouldn't care at that point. I'd be pissed if I was that guy. So, in other words, you're like, well, if I'm that guy, I want to break up anyway. Two wrongs make a right. I would go... Seriously. That's what you're saying. It's on t-shirts. You're smart. Because, honestly, if I was in that guy's situation and my partner didn't have the courage to come up to me and talk to me and try to get it out of me and went to the radio, I'd be pissed. Let's say I'm your boyfriend. Oh, here we go. Let's say I'm your boyfriend. Play it out. Okay. I'm going to play it out. Yeah? Play it out. How's it go, Mike? Let's play. I'm your boyfriend. Okay. I think you're cheating. Okay? You think I'm cheating? Yep. I think you're cheating. But I'm not. You're not. Okay. You're not. But I think you are. I'm just flirty, and I flirt sometimes on the dance floor with my coworkers, but I'm not cheating. Exactly. But I think that there's some guy at work, some dude named Rob, who I think you're in. There's no question. Who I think you're in cahoots with. Okay.
So I call the Mikey show and I say, hey, listen, I think that my girlfriend, Ashley, is messing around with this guy named Rob at work. Can you please do Cheaters Hotel? So Mikey calls. And I pick up. You pick up. Right. And you know what's up. Like I immediately know. I hear the incidental thing or whatever. Mike is trying to set me up. My boyfriend is trying to set me up. Right? Mm-hmm. I'll show him. So you say, yeah, the name is Steve. And I go, Ashley. I can't believe it. Steve is our real estate agent, Ashley. And we have a house. You terrible, awful. You are such a blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And to further the rubbing it in my face, you decide oddly to hang up. Yeah, for sure. For sure. This is something I would totally do. Okay. Absolutely. And the reason that you hang up is? Because there's no, like, I want her or him, it would be for me, to, like, be festering and be like, what the hell? Festering? There's no festering. Who is Steve? From a year ago. Let's change the name Steve.
To Horatio, because there ain't many Horatios out there. And so you say Horatio, and I know Horatio is our real estate agent. Yep, and then click. And you hang up. And so now, there's no festering now. I'm waiting for him to call me once he's done with you, clown. You understand. Doing your stupid bit on our relationship. It's crap. There's no festering, though. You got me. Come talk to me like an adult. Don't go through a radio station. Okay, but you got me. Oh, no. You got me. Yeah, I got you good. I'm not festering. Call me when you're ready to talk like an adult. I'm not festering. In my mind, you're treating with Horatio. You're treating. Yes. Sean's got a great point. Sean's got a great point. What did he say? That's right. He says, because you're acting like an adult by doing this. Shut up. So anyway, so you got me convinced that you and Horatio are getting it on. I'm 100% convinced. And you're sitting there with your arms crossed like, good, go ahead, think it, stupid. Yeah, and now you're probably confused because you're like, I thought that she liked Rob because she's such a flirt, but what's going on? No, no, no. Stop. No, I'm not. I'm sure of it. He's home packing up.
I caught you. I'm not thinking it's Rob anymore. You're done, skank. That's right. I just figured out it was Horatio. You're right. I did think it was Rob. So you're not going to call me? Ashley stuffed in a box to the left. Not only am I not going to call you. The radio is just going to determine whether or not I'm going to call you. I don't talk to skanks. Yeah, you v-ho-ho. Give me a break. You would, of course, Call me after and talk to me. No way, big booty mama. All of your stuff in a box to the left, sweetheart. Pack it up, you heavy hottie. Wait a second, Rob. I thought we were talking about people's weight. No more out of you, two tons of fun. Hey, Eddie. Hit the bricks, pal, and beat it, because you are going out. That's a good looking statement right there. Wow. I don't know about that theory. That is a dumb idea. And then I would break up with you when you call me and you're like, I'm not calling. Then I will call your ass and I will leave a voicemail on there saying, hey, is your name still Mike when you're my boyfriend? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll be like, hey, Mike, did you have a little fun there doing your...
Cheater's Hotel. Yeah, I listened to the show. Pause. I'm going to tell you my thoughts. You didn't know that, but I listened to the show. This is a voicemail. I just got to tell you my thoughts. How can you pause the voicemail? Here's my thoughts on the voicemail. Oh, he's got the iPhone. Yeah, I just paused it, and I'm like, I just paused it, and I'm like, oh, she's going this route. Yeah. Oh, she's going this route. I don't care. I don't care. Neither does he. Neither does he. Great. Just like to say this is all very grown up. Because you know what? If I'm not cheating and he thinks I am and he's going to go through a stupid station. Well, because you said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. You said you were. Only person got punked. You look like the idiot. Crazy. You guys don't get it. You want Debbie. You're used to it, but. Debbie. Shut up. Are you there? Go ahead, Debbie. Hi. Hi. You know that listener who called and said that the guy must know it was Cheaters Hotel because he knew that word incidental?
Sorry, I'm laughing because Eddie just silently threw a wad of paper and hit Sky in the face and they both started laughing. Normally it like misses me. I wasn't expecting it. Go ahead, Debbie. I'm really sorry. He has to be expecting it. Go ahead, Debbie. Go ahead. The guy who called said that the guy must have known it was Tears Hotel because he used the word incidental. Right. He's probably a friend of that guy. I like all the leaps we're taking today. He's probably a space alien. I actually believe that. No. Wait. How can you? Pause. Pause. Pause. We're not on the iPhone. No. This is definitely not the iPhone. Wait a second. I'm being completely 100% serious. She said that and I go. Holy cow, that's pretty good. Because he used the word incident. No, no, no. Sky, Sky, Sky, Sky. Oh, to defend him and to give a little loophole. I bet Scotty called his boy and was like, dude, did you hear what just happened? And his friend said, no, what happened? Mikey just called me, offered me a hotel, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I said, Toreen. Oh, dude, don't worry. I got you covered. I'll call right now.
I got you covered. And if you sound like the other two. Oh. No, now that's far-fetched. No! That's far-fetched. That doesn't make it. Hey, Debbie, I don't know if that's true, but it's not a bad theory. But Ashley said it's far-fetched. Well, you know what? Usually chicks are pretty dumb and they can be talked into anything. Really? Thank you. I agree with that. One giant step for feminism. But you have a female voice. That's right. I love the smell of burning bras. That's right. All women. Thank you. stupid. I don't get that. Women should really be just stupid and stay home. Pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen. Anyway. Oh my gosh. You know, I really think that woman should have known her place, to be honest. It's okay if a man cheats on you. Yeah. That's what they do. We're stupid. We fall for it. You want Nikki there? Yeah. Go ahead. Okay. I think that he didn't know what was going on because at the very end, once he got caught, once she freaked out as soon as he said, Toreen,
He was like, and he all said her name and was like, I'm not doing this on the air. And if he would have known what was going on, he would have started laughing. I mean, he would have said her name. Exactly. No, no, no. Because that would ruin the whole point of the punking. The whole point of convincing someone that you're actually a bad person? Yeah, well, you're punking them back. Well, then you reveal the punk. You're revealing the punk. Hey, yeah, I know this is the Mikey show. I listen. Hang on a minute. Hang on a minute. I'm going to illustrate. Ashley's idea now. Oh, no. This ought to be good. Are you going to do it right? Yeah. I'm going to do it perfectly. Oh, no. I decide I'm going to punk Ashley, so I have Rob take Ashley's car and move it, right? But I never give the car back. She walks outside. She's like, hey, oh my gosh, my car got stolen, you guys. Yeah, you watch her dial 911. That is not the same thing. But we never give the car back. Heck no. That is not the same analogy. I think the punking. Got you. We got you there, didn't we? The punking was like that time that we called that guy and he said to put Sky's name on the gift card.
See, that's like, that's an obvious. That was punking. No. Because he was listening to the show. He knows the show. When we called him and said, whose name would you like to put on the gift card? He goes, yeah, how about Skye and Ham? Because clearly he wasn't there. Oh, the ham. I remember that. Sean. Go ahead, Ashley. Sorry, Skye. That's funny. That guy, I mean, he obviously is way more laid back than I am. I would have been pissed, and I would have punked him right back. I totally see where that color was coming from. But don't you want to reveal the punk? Okay. That's the whole point of a prank. It's the reveal. Is it crazy to think? No, you never give the car back. Is it crazy to think? It's so good, Eddie. The punking is so good. They never get the car back. They really think that car was stolen. Well, that's terrible. They go get a new car. They go get a new car. And then you can sit and tell them. No, you never do. No, you do tell them when they call you. But I don't need to call you. You're right here. See, that is what you guys do.
don't get okay i know i get it so he so they call and they go i can't believe yeah yeah yeah no i wouldn't though i wouldn't at that point i know you're a cheater we have a house together right you're a cheater though but i'm not a cheater you you just said horatio you just said horatio the clown's over at the station i know who horatio is that's our real estate agent you cheater yeah oh How random would that be that I'm cheating with a kid? We haven't seen him in a year. You've had time to think about it. You're coming up with excuses now. Exactly. You're trying to get your way out of it. I know you're cheating. You're cheating. Center ratio. Center ratio. You're a cheater. Lunchbox. You would have called me and said that and I would have gone, no, bro. Let's have a conversation. Double skate. Let's have a conversation. Say hello. Say hello. Super hooch. Say hello. Hello. Hey, cheater. I just wanted to call... I just wanted to... Whoa. I just was calling to tell you to get... I just wanted to tell you to get this... That I'm moving your stuff out of the house. Oh, that's awesome because I already moved your stuff out because I love how you go to a radio station instead of me when you think I'm cheating. Well, you are cheating because you said Horatio. But anyway, your stuff... You better put the stuff back in the house because it's my house. And I'm kicking your stuff out to the curb as we speak, so... Well, I'm actually at the house and I already packed your stuff up. I'm actually at the house and I just burnt it down.
For the record, you... have absolutely no say in there. You have a pretty good record at this point, by the way. So go ahead with your record. For the record, you have nothing to say at this point. You're the one who went behind my back. You're a broken record. You already said that. A guy in New Orleans reading a book at the bar. That's below the belt. That's what makes it funny. You're talking about a woman that was almost arrested for prostitution. It ain't easy being a hoe now. Why did Rob just lash out at Sky? Well, he wasn't. He was calling you a girl that's at Harrah's in New Orleans getting arrested. Clearly fishing for a John. I know you like him. I love him. We know you did. We tried to. Until he walked you to the door. Until a 5-0 got called. You filthy street walker. Anyway, back to our conversation. Let me get this straight. Let me get this straight. Let me get this straight. Let me get this straight. So you're...
Let me get this straight. So you are trying to tell me that you actually haven't been hooking up with Horatio? So let me get this straight. So you're telling me that you actually called a radio station? Yes, I did. a house together? Yes, we did. I'm an adult. Yes, that's what makes the word. Pretty sure that adults can talk it out like adults and not use a radio station. Really? Then, babe, why did you say Horatio? Why'd you say Horatio? Why'd you say Horatio? Why'd you say Horatio? Why'd you say Horatio? To play your game, buddy. Oh, really? Oh, really? Who's buying that? Two people can play the game. Will you guys stop throwing stuff at each other? I thought this whole show was just breaking down. I thought that's what we were doing here. Ridiculous. Goodbye. Ridiculous. Get out of my house. Rob, what are you looking at? I was looking up different ways to say skate. Back where I'm from, a retarded guy could never have this much fun. It's Mikey. Rock 105.3.

It all starts today at 4.30 on Fox 6. Hello, has this guy ever used an ATM before? Seriously, they aren't that complicated. You know, let's just go to McDonald's. I'm thinking Big Mac sandwiches. Why do you think I'm getting cash, dude? I've always got enough for Mickey Deeds in my pocket. Yeah, right, Big Macs for both of us. Just let me get through this line. Listen to me. Two Big Macs are just $3. What? Yeah, two Big Macs, $3. No, how is that even possible? It's McDonald's. They're the home of everyday value. I'll cover you, and by the time we get back... This guy will be long gone. Now's the time to revisit a delicious classic, because the Big Mac is just two for $3, each with two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, and onions on a sesame seed bun. No way. He's still here. Clearly, he doesn't know two Big Macs for $3 is for a limited time. Oh, man.
We do have enough for more. Let's do it. Price and participation may vary. Find everything good about breakfast inside a warm flour tortilla. Try McDonald's new McSkillet Burrito with a hot cup of rich premium roast coffee. McDonald's now open at 5 a.m. One per household, Mike. Yeah, I had to put it under Jake Esparza. He lives in the same household. What about one? Oh, you make me so mad. Good. Sky, tell everybody what we're talking about. No. I want to tell you about Cricket, where I'm going to be mass texting everybody on Cricket the dream home that Sky's trying to get in on. Will you stop it? Oh, you mean the one from HGTV? What? No one else had dream home. It's mine. I'm moving to Florida. Every year, Eddie puts one entry in. It infuriates her. I know. Because I'm going to win it. Dude, I enter dream home every day, every year. This year's my year. And she knows that I get into it, too, so now this year she would tell me.
I know, that was nice. I'm like, hey, you didn't even tell me. She's like, don't enter it! No, no one's allowed. We're just kidding. There's no such thing. Well, let me tell you, Cricket is the best, and they're still doing all the great stuff that you remember Cricket for. No contracts, all that stuff. Still buy the CD there, the Best of the Mikey Show. Furry Up. That's right. Still available at local Cricket stores. You can go to the website, MikeyShow.com, to see where they're selling them. We've got to get an update on how the thing is selling. I know people go into the Cricket stores and want to get a hold of the new Best of CD, and while they're there, end up looking at phones and looking at plans. It was cool doing those CD signings there, man. Seeing all the different stuff you can buy there, all the new things they have. It blew me away. Sky, give out the website. It's mycricket.com slash San Diego. Mikey Show. Featuring Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. Boston Rob is going to eat sea cucumber. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. It looks like a banana gun pad. Like, really bad. It looks like a banana plug. So glad. Here comes the shakes. Oh, one, two, three. Let's go. Here we go. One, two.
1053. You want a leg? Are you a seagull? Oh, my God. Think of the ocean. He's trying to get it down. It almost came up. Swallow it. Mikey. 1053. He's 750. Yesterday, a man in the Otay area stabbed his barber in the face after being unhappy with his haircut. West Virginia won the Fiesta Bowl over Oklahoma 48-28 with no real head coach. Pretty good job. I just got a text from Lou Bush. It's good. It's a good text. What's that guy want? It says, I am going to stop by with maybe the greatest thing I may have ever created. Today? Text him back. Here, you do it. Zeth, text him back and ask him if it's today. Here we go. Wait, wait, wait. Okay, go ahead. Touch the bottom part so it brings up the keypad. There you go.
I hope so. Lou, if you're listening, call Lou. Yeah, Lou. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's get Lou on the phone. Hey, hey, guy. Lou takes barbecued food to a very different level. I've never had food like Lou's. Ever. He's very serious about it. He's serious about it, but it's like, it's crazy, crazy, crazy good, crazy good. How does he do it? I think it's magic. Heard that. I really think it's magic. I'm going to read you this email. And I'm going to get your guys' thoughts on it. And then I'm going to invite people to go to HGTV. Stop it, Mike. I'm silly. Seriously, dude. No more. Stop. Seriously. Not allowed. Okay, so let me read you this email. HGTV.com. She's so irritated. You can only enter once. So the email says, Mikey. Stop it. Until February 19th. Leave her alone. Beautiful home. Yeah, it is. Florida Keys.
Florida Keys. 2.2 mil. It's in between the Keys. Imagine what you get for 2.2 mil there. Yeah, tell us about it. How beautiful is it? Shut your mouth. I'll put a link on the website. If people don't know on their own, they don't deserve to enter the dream house. Oh, Skye, how pissed if you found out a P1 won the demons. Oh, my God. Dude, can you imagine? A P11 that, oh. She may commit murder. Oh, I know. Like, I may end up dead for that one. Look at the look she's shooting you. It comes with a, is that just IM me? It comes with a hybrid Chevy Tahoe. How perfect is that? How perfect is that? It might as well come with a year's worth of honey baked. But she doesn't like hybrids. She never gets them. Can you shut your gutter mouth, Sean? Oh, man. This is bad. Come on, guys. Please, enough. No more. Mikey, I heard you guys discussing the Hannah Montana essay controversy yesterday. Let me tell you what this is before I continue with the email. Some chick, some little girl in Dallas, Texas, entered a contest where you have to write an essay to win Hannah Montana tickets. So she wrote an essay and said her daddy died in Iraq. Well, they found out there's no daddy, there's no Iraq. This is all made up. And not only was it made up.
It was made up with the mother. The mother and the little girl got together in cahoots and they did this phony thing and she won. And the mother said, we write stuff all the time. The contest just said, and I thought, oh, what a terrible mom that she's. Monster. That she's making it into more of a lie. But anyway, it says, Mikey, I heard you guys discussing the Hannah Montana essay controversy yesterday and had to chime in. I don't necessarily cheat for my daughter. But I help her a lot when it comes to school projects. Is that wrong? I also helped her win a Girl Scout cookie contest by selling a bulk of her cookies at work. Is that cheating? I really don't know. I want her to win and do well in things, but also don't want her to think that mommy will do her work for her. And I don't when it comes to most of her stuff for school. I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks. P1 for Life, Cindy.
I almost think those Girl Scout cookies, like, those Girl Scout cookies are almost like a mom contest. And it's not really hidden, you know? I've never seen... I don't... What do you mean, Ash? I was a Girl Scout and it was... Your mom didn't go to work and help sell... She did because I asked her to. Like, I would be like, Mom, can you, you know, take this and just hang it up in your whatever? I didn't think of that. You know, Dad, can you hang this up? Does that change it if the kid asks you to? I say kind of. Yeah. Because the point of the Girl Scout cookie contest is to sell the most Girl Scout cookies as the Girl Scout. And if you as a parent are taking it and doing it, then you're no longer serving the purpose of why you're doing it. Even if the kid says, Mom, will you do this? Yeah. So it's the same thing. That's crap. I mean, it's not like I feel so strongly about it. I'm like, oh, you're cheating. But I mean, technically, yeah.
You know what? Honestly, I've never thought of the Girl Scout cookie contest who can sell the most Girl Scout cookies. I've never thought of it as something that the little girls are solely involved in. Huge deal. I know it's a huge deal, but what I'm saying is I've never thought of it like it's the little girls on their own, period, amen, selling. Right. We know that's not the case. Obviously not. They're like seven. That's a scam. But, like, because I remember when I... Shouldn't it be that way, though? It was back in the day, wasn't it? No, it shouldn't. You know they go door-to-door. See, I was mad. It's the Girl Scout contest, Ashley. It's not the Girl Scout's mom contest. And we still would go door-to-door, but do you know what the chances are of someone being home and actually wanting to buy a box or two, let alone ten? Oh, well, go to a busy neighborhood, lady. Yeah, you know what? You can do that and also have your mom and dad put something up at work to help you out. No, you don't deserve the pack. The prizes are fat. Sky.
I remember as a Girl Scout, I would get really upset because, you know, my mom worked, but not for, like, a big company. And it was always known, like, whoever's parents worked for the big companies, they'd always, you know, win. And it was to the point where I didn't even want to try anymore because I felt like it was so rigged. Like, what's the point of me walking around my block going door to door if somebody's parent is going to bring a sign-up sheet to friggin' IBM and, you know, sell like a billion boxes? It's brutal. Is there any rule? Is there an official rule? Well, because you'd also see it in school. Like, it would be a project to do, like, a diorama, you know, and I'd have this cheesy little shoebox thing, and then some kid would come in with this, like... That's awful. Kids shouldn't be subjected. Onion rings for Burger King. Visine in the wild. Yeah, but that's cheating.
And they'd come in with this, like, elaborate thing, you know, that looked like Spielberg. Yeah, they've got to be elaborate. They're giving you diarrhea. Stop saying that. Is there a rule in the Girl Scouts, hey, your moms and dads can't do this? No, I don't think there's a rule. They can help you. I mean, you're a kid. They shouldn't. They shouldn't. See, I don't think that's a big deal, but Sky with the... How is it not a big deal if your parents work at Qualcomm? They go into a big, giant company. That's kind of whack. Well, see, I would more prefer... Somebody else's mom works at a small company. I do love those Thin Mints, though. Gosh, they're so good. I see what you're saying. I would more prefer I go with my mom to her work at Qualcomm, and then I can be like... Okay, and let's say that my mom... First of all, let's say my mom's a homemaker. Yeah. How fair is that? My mom was a homemaker when I was a Girl Scout. So who was she getting to buy the cookies? That was an example, but I would have my dad do it. Your dad would take it to the FBI corridors. Okay, so let's say that your buddy doesn't have a dad to take it to the FBI headquarters. Yeah, I know. Screwed. I can see that. That's not fair. Well, my question to everybody is, what are we willing to do for our kids? How far are we willing to go? I have to be honest. I think I'm going to help my kids with their...
diarrhea projects. It's called a diorama. Or like science fair stuff. I think I'm going to help him. No. Diorama. Wait. Diorama is that cartoon on Fox, right? That comes on Sunday night. That's Futurama. No, it's Diorama and Greg, I think was the name of the show. No, that's Diorama and Greg. Oh, I'm lost. It's the Diorama Project. Yes, yes, yes. No. It's Diorama Initiative. Stop it. It's a form of birth control, I think. Are you on the Diorama? Yeah. You got your diorama in? I think so. You think so? I lost it a couple of weeks ago. Christina Aguilera is such a good singer because she sings from the diorama. No more, please. You would do what? I think I'm going to help them. Build stuff. Build stuff in contests? I think so. Does that make me bad? No, but it's not right. It doesn't make you bad, but it isn't right. I guess not, but, I mean, I would want them to do well, and I would work with them. I mean, I'd have them do stuff, but, like, the dangerous stuff like sawing and hammering and... Question, Eddie. Making little stuff. Question. Motors and things. Do you admit... Eddie! I didn't do that. Do you admit... Do you admit that if your son does not do it and you do it, that that... Or you do it together, that that is dishonest?
Dishonest? How so? Well, it's dishonest because the spirit of the contest is that your son does it. He did. With you? Yeah. So is that dishonest? No. It is not dishonest. I don't think so. For him to compete against other children who didn't have adult health. How is it different from the mom with the Hannah Montana? Thank you. I mean, to me, the gross part about the Hannah Montana thing isn't necessarily that she lied. It's what she lied about, saying that her father was dead in Iraq and all those things. I don't know, here's a mother defending herself. Cut 31. It said to write a story of how to win, you know, what would be the good gift for Christmas. And I go, and that's what we did. I go, we never said anything like this was a true story. Never. It was just an essay. We do essays all the time. You know, my daughter does essays at school all the time. Parents do this stuff. Like, seriously. Oh, dude, absolutely. You know they do. My parents did not. Not because they had any kind of moral thing. They barely knew I lived there. Mike, please stay focused on what we're talking about. Here we go. There's probably a contest going on one of those times I was left there when they went to Tucson. How old were you in that? 11, maybe 12 at the most. Certainly not a teenager. You could have put that He-Man doll in the diorama box. That's a He-Man doll my mom gave me on the Christmas that she said it's the last Christmas present you'll be getting without giving Christmas presents to others.
Ashley, 11, 12, probably at the moment. Certainly not a teenager. That was a house cat the first four years of my life. They're being honest. I don't know about that. They're being honest. That's exactly what it was. I don't think so. Nah, but I digress. P1 Uncle Albert's friend Matt, how are you? How are you? Good. How are you, man? Good. I was just calling in. I used to be a Cub Scout, and I used to sell popcorn. And my dad was a doctor at a big hospital. And so I got a lot of popcorn sales that way. But my dad still made me do the work. I still had to go to the hospital, go around, give everybody my spiel. And then afterwards, he would put up like a sign-up sheet. But I still had to go back to the hospital like several times during the competition.
Yeah, I get it. You know, you want to make your kid happy. I understand. Yeah, exactly. But he's still making me do the work. I would do it. I would do it for Jake. You know, and mainly I guess I would do it for Jake because I know so many other parents are doing it that if I don't do it for Jake, he's going to be embarrassed. Yeah. So you have to get in there and you got to. It was really cool. I thought my dad was the coolest guy ever. You want to win, huh? No. Uh-uh. I love that. No. I'm telling you. You're continuing the cycle, man. I don't want him to be different. I'm being honest. You want to be a winner? No. Yeah, well, sure. Yeah, well, sure. P1. P1, Chris. Hey. Hey, this is... Yeah, I'm against the parents helping the kids out. I think the kids should learn how to do it themselves. Now, what about this, Chris? What about this? What about your kid? You have this philosophy. You go, okay, I'm not going to help you. You got to do this on your own, blah, blah, blah. Kid comes home crying. He says, Dad, I was so embarrassed. All the kids were making fun of me. They sold every, you know, the person that sold the least besides me sold 400, and I sold 14. And he's really, you know, like, you know what I mean? That happened to me when I was a kid. My dad didn't, we had the soapbox races in Cubs Couch. You know, with the little Pinewood cars. That's what I, yep. My dad was the only dad that told me, you're going to do it yourself. Get my brother up. Call my house, Ashley.
Call my house. My brother's at my house right now. The only thing he showed me how to do was he showed me how to use a drummle and left me in his workshop, and he's like, make it. It's up to you. Same with the dioramas. I made a horrible, horrible volcano. It didn't even work. Wouldn't you have felt better if he would have helped you? But you know what? With all the kids that I went to high school with, that their parents were paying for them to go to college and everything like that, I didn't. I joined the Navy at 18. I've been in eight years. Doing good for myself. I just got married last July. All because of the volcano? Yep. Yeah, I built the papier-mâché little volcano with the baking powder and vinegar. I don't know, dude. Listen, I don't want to psychoanalyze you here in 20 seconds because I don't know you or anything, but I'm just thinking to myself, I had a similar deal that you did, and I'm thinking, I don't know, man. I think it creates this attitude of like, oh, my dad don't want to help me. Well, no, he said his dad showed him. Yeah, he showed me how to use the drum roll. He said, here's what you want to do. But he didn't do it for me. I remember specifically at this Pine Box Derby, or the Pine Car Derby, I remember specifically this one kid I went to high school with, his dad built a tank. A little tank that shot rubber band. Oh, man. It didn't even race.
He won Best of Show. Isn't that cool? He was like six years old. You could tell this kid didn't make that. That'd be cool if it was a contest for adults making stuff. Might look like something by Salvador Dali with four wheels. Two faces. He had like three wheels. That's funny, man. All right, dude. All right, Chris. Hey, listen, I appreciate the call. Hey, thanks, Mike. My brother did the same thing for me. He helped you? No, he didn't help me. He did it. Oh, really? He did the whole car. You got him? Mark. Mike? Okay. Do you hear us on the radio? I'm on my cell phone at Sam's. Oh, okay. Did you hear what we were talking about on the radio by any chance? It was something about the soapbox thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you remember the soapbox story?
But it wasn't a soapbox, Mike. It was those little wooden cars that you went down the ramp. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, do you remember what you made or what happened? You and I built the thing. Oh, you and I. I didn't build anything. You made that. Oh, that's not true. What did I do? Well, I think you painted it. So how did we, and we won first place. In fact, we did. It was so wet, though, that when the guy picked it up off the track, he got paint on his fingers. Now, how did we win? Well, I think we put two bullets in the front of it to give it weight. Yeah, that's what he did. Bullets, Mike. Bullets. Bullets. That's what he did. He put bullets in the front of the car, it weighed it down, and it won by a landslide. Yeah, yeah. But it was legal because it still came in under weight. Now, Mark, did you do this kind of stuff for your daughter going through school? Like, would you do projects for her? No, that would be wrong. This is the Mikey Show. So you're the guy who pooped in my tuba. I think I have an issue with numbers and letters. I really do. I have my knowledge in my head.
He's the oracle. I don't need notes, guys. When my hands become saturated in water, the palms get, like, disgusting. They look like a frog. Sean. Most of you listening right now, I don't like you. Okay, wait. I don't like you very much. First of all, Boston Rob. You guys know that if I don't write stuff on my hand, I'm an idiot. And Ashley. Just because I like oyster stuffing does not mean that I am an oyster. You keep saying it, oyster, but you know the real deal. The Mikey Show's on. Top of the morning to ya. Rock 105.3. Welcome back. It's 9.13. Kim Kardashian says that she and Reggie Bush are not engaged yet. If you haven't heard this morning, Cam Cameron was fired as the Miami Dolphins head coach after one season. There's a new movie out with John Cusack. It's kind of an independent movie. It did good at the Sundance Film Festival and some other film festival type stuff.
independent movie and it's called something grace it's like goodbye grace grace is gone grace is gone that's the name of it grace anatomy and i saw the trailer for it and i'm not a big cusack fan but i thought wow he looks really good in that and he's getting you know A lot of really good reviews and stuff like that. Like his wife dies in the war. In Iraq. And he doesn't want to tell his kids or something like that. And he's got to raise them by himself, these daughters. And it looked actually pretty good. Well, when we were watching the trailer, my wife goes, man, he looks just like Kevin Spacey. Because he's gained a lot of weight. He's gotten older. And he did. He kind of looked like Kevin Spacey. Well, apparently my wife's not the only person to think that. Because this was a press junket and a student interviewer said this. Cut one. How are you doing? Nice to see you. Sorry. I'm so nice to meet you. It's funny. I actually was just text messaging with a friend because I'm in the film class right now. You are? In my film class. And it's so funny because they're watching American Beauty today and analyzing it. American Beauty? What's funny about that? You were in that. No, I wasn't. American Beauty? Nope.
What's the one with the rose petals? That's not you? No. Really? No. Really? Swear to God. Am I just very confused? I think you are. I think I am. Okay. Oh, my. Awkward. Wow. That's a little uncomfortable. Oh, she thought he was Kevin Spacey. What? First the prank we pulled on him and now this. Wow. I know, right? Who would have thought that Cusack is like the victim of shenanigans? Oh, my gosh. I don't know. I just thought that was funny. Another thing that I want to do before we leave is there's this. Now, let's do it right now. I'll play a little bit of it right now. And then I want to get to some some other audio stuff that we haven't gotten a chance to get to. This guy did a mashup. Ashley, describe what a mashup is. A mashup would be like if you take.
A Gwen Stefani song and maybe like a Rolling Stones song, like really popular songs, and you mix them together. And it sounds cool. Yeah, it sounds rad, and you make them work. That's right. It's a mashup. So this guy put together a mashup of Billboard's Top 25 Pop Songs of 07, and he called it The United State of Pop. Cut three. The guy's name is DJ Earworm. He's got a website, djearworm.com. Man, I'd have that as a single and play it in the car. That's cool. That's really, really cool. I guess mashups are cool. I think I could do that. You the guy? Can you? I think so. Let's get you a couple turntables. Really? We'll have you do that throughout the show. One to twos, no problem. There you go. I'll spin while we're up. Just spin the cool stacks, the best on life. The wheels of steel. That's right, man. Let's get you on that. Eddie's throwing gang signs. That's not a gang sign. That was not a gang sign.
Easy and rocky. Okay, all right. That's an inappropriate show. Finger is probably a better way to describe it. Last night, stand-up comedian Hillary Clinton appeared on The Night Show with David Letterman. I love that guy. Oh, no, sorry. She was doing some comedy stuff last night. Cut five. Dave has been off the air for eight long weeks because of the writer's strike. Tonight, he's back. Oh, well, all good things come to an end. What timing. It's uncanny. She's unbelievable. It's almost like somebody opened up a greeting card and like the robotic voice started speaking. Pop up Hillary Clinton. And it's like, oh, well, all good things must come to an end. And then Mike Huckabee was on the Tonight Show. Thank you.
This was Mike Huckabee last night talking about how he lived in a triple-wide. He used to live in a triple-wide trailer. While he was a governor of Arkansas, he lived in a triple-wide. Cut 14. When I first met you, you were living in a trailer in Arkansas. My wife would want to tell you it was a manufactured home. Yes, yes. No, no. Now, why are we living in a trailer? Are we trying to put on airs and press fellow constituents? Yeah, you know, it was a triple wide, Jay. A lot of people only had a single wide trailer, but we had the triple wide. It was pretty significant. Actually, what was going on, the governor's mansion was going under renovations. So there were a lot of things, you know, the wiring and all this stuff had to be redone. And so we had an option. We could go out and rent this very expensive place or find alternative housing arrangements. And we decided to move in a triple-wide manufactured home on the grounds of the governor's mansion. We knew we were going to take a beating over it. Oh, we had a million jokes about it. No. Thank you. You supported the monologue for weeks. Well, the big line was they said, I'm sorry, I'm running late today. I was on the interstate and got behind the governor's mansion. He's actually got some pretty good timing, the Huckabee.
Not bad. Anything compared to Hillary Clinton was pretty good. I mean, that's what I'm looking for in a president. I want a guy to be able to tell a joke effectively. Yeah. And someone who can jam on the guitar. That's true. Bass. Oh, sorry. Bass. Bass. Yeah. Knock, knock. Who's there, President Bush? Let's do this. All right. Let's do it. Who's there? Knock, knock. Knock, knock. All right, President Bush, who's there? What's up? No, no, President Bush, when I say, okay, what's up who? What's up with you, bro? President Bush. Oh, man. That was a knock-knock joke for President Bush. Tears coming out of my eyes. Do you have any better ones? Rider Strait. Rider Strait. We get it. But how about the timing, though? Not bad. Not bad, President Bush. Thanks, bro. Fist bump. Fist bump. Love you. Love your show. Thank you, President Bush. I appreciate that. You got it. Home skillet. Okay. Check you on the flip fly. Flip fly. Well said. Flip fly. Flip fly. Are you on the next cell phone, President Bush? What up? President Bush, are you talking to me? Wait a minute. Can you hear me now? Yeah. Are you on the next cell? I'm on my next cell.
What are you doing on that thing? Just talking to you, bro. Okay. What is it, bro? What up? Hi, President Bush. It's all right, man. Job's over. You're a free man. Doesn't mean you can start smoking marijuana. Do whatever I want. I'm not president no more. No, wait, I'm done. No, it's not like New Year's Day. You're done. It's November. And even then. No, they're electing somebody in Iowa today. No, no, no, no. Marcus is in Iowa. I can't wait. Obama away. Why do you like him? He's a good bro. Okay. Bro. That guy did crazy stuff like me. Yeah, I know it. I shouldn't get into it. A little toot. All right, President Bush. Thank you. We did it together. That's President Bush. President Bush, you did cocaine with Barack Obama? Yeah, we shared a straw. Crack is whack. All right, President Bush. Yes, it's weird. Jabba bloop. Bush out. So, let's see what everybody thinks of this.
This is Hillary Clinton yesterday on the Today Show. Cut 21. What's the one thing you can't live without on the trail that you bring with you? My Bucky. You know what a Bucky is? Bucky is one of those neck pillows. And I found one that's like really soft. It's almost like a velour cover. So every chance I get in a plane, in a car, I just put it around my neck and I'm out like a light. Her Bucky. I've never heard of a Bucky. But that's what she takes with her. She likes the Bucky. Mitt Romney for getting the words to America the Beautiful. Cut 24. I get my confidence from the people I meet. I have to be honest with you. I'm convinced that what makes America such a great nation is not just our beautiful land and our mountains and our... Waving, or what is it? Let's see. Waving fields. No, how is it? More beautiful. Spacious skies. Purple mountains, majesties. And amber waves are great. Don't do it. And green waves are great. With the beans and the corn, too. Ay, ay, ay. Stop. Stop it. Stop it. Omit yourself. Eject. That was terrible. Okay. Man, we got through everything today. You know what I think I might have you do, Sky?
because we weren't here on Tuesday, is look up the stuff that came out on Tuesday. Just DVDs. Just DVDs. Just DVDs. And only cool ones. If there's cool ones. Hey, have you guys heard that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo is an act? Have you guys heard the rumors? I'll tell you about it when we get back. Podcasts of the Mikey Show at rock1053.com. Do you know what a transmission is? What the what? Do you know what? You're making fun of me because I stumbled a little bit when I was speaking there, right? No, I really didn't understand. Do you know what a transmission is? Oh, a transmission. No, I mean, I've heard of it. I know it's in a car and it's important. The transmission is a part of the car that does like what our legs do. It's fat and they go out all the time. That's why you got to go down to Amco. Give Amco a call. Amco is, well, first of all, let me give you their website.
They got a website that you could use right here. Beep beep. I haven't said that yet. I'll do it in just a second. Don't you do that beep until I get to the part. Zip. Amco transmissions and a whole lot more. A job done right. Guaranteed. At a price it's done right. Beep. I haven't said it yet. What? I thought that you were going to go. Amco's double A. Beep beep. MCO. Now here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. We have a pair of tickets to the game. And what we are going to do is tomorrow, here at the radio station, we are inviting anybody that wants those tickets to come down, put their name in a hopper, and then we're going to select one person. We're going to reach into that hopper. We're going to pull out one name. And that one person is going to have to participate in Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. Has to have a sampler platter.
Eddie, what time should people get down? No, later than seven. Get your name in. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Hey, come on, man. Do some Soundgarden for us and trip us out. Yeah, dude. 32. With a storm moving in tonight. Free sandbags are being offered to people living in mudslide-prone areas. Everybody is excited to know that the Orange Bowl is tonight. Kansas versus Virginia Tech. Everybody excited. I'm excited. We've got to do this. Do you know who's most awful? Who's a German to say? So if he won trivia for the show. If he won trivia. If he won trivia.
This is where you come. We got to get a guy and a girl on the phone right now that can come in tomorrow. Tomorrow. Hang out in the studio with us tomorrow. You hang out the whole show long tomorrow. So you got to have the day off tomorrow or you have to be able to come in here. Roll off, Skye. All right, so here's a way that it works. We have you call in right now, 570-1053. We need a guy. We need a girl. And what you do is you compete against each other in Mikey Show Trivia. You've got to get the five points. You get a one-point question. You get your choice of a one, two, or three-point question. Ones are easy. Threes are hard. It's very simple. So we need a guy and a girl to compete. On the phone with us right now, P1 Leonidas. Oh, you want to meet this guy. P1 Leonidas. There.
Come and get them. That's probably the creepiest thing you've ever done. Well said. I want to see that today, for sure. You always say that. I've got to put it in. Thank you very much. Always a grand introduction. I love you guys. It's great to have you on the show. I was doing my gay version of 300. I liked it. Spartans! I don't think you need to put on a voice for a gay version of 300. It's one and the same. All right, we got a girl that is ready to go, and her name is P1 Lindsey. Oh. Let's get her on the line. She's so precocious. Hi, Lindsey. Hi. How are you? I'm good. How are you? Good. How old are you? Nineteen. Leonidas, how old are you? Twenty-nine. All right. Skye, a year ago, who started first, guys or girls? Last year, the guy went first. All right.
That means that, P1 Lindsay, you start. What do you want? A one, two, or three-point question? A one. A one-point question. Those are easy ones. Here's your one-point question. Who on the Mikey show is a furry? Sean. That is correct. A pervert. That is correct. A pervert. He's a fervert. Fervert. Whatever. Ferverted. Dude, it's not. Leonidas. Yes, sir. Let's go with the two, Mikey. Oh, wow. Look at you. Who on the show tried golf once and never played again? That's a great question. That would be you, Mikey. That's correct. But you were so good.
But your cubs were so nice. I tried twice. I think I tried twice. Well, no. You went to the driving rain once. And then we went out. But we were drunk. We only went once. I know, but I fell out of the car. And you fell out of the car. I thought I gave myself a concussion. There's no question you had a concussion. I had a concussion. Are you serious? We were going so fast. Eddie was driving the car. And he was driving so fast. And what were you doing? Hanging out on the side of it. I was hanging out on the side of it. What? I was drunk, and then he yanked the wheel, and I went flying like 20 feet, and I hit, bam, my head hit the ground, bam. Oh, so funny. And I felt my brain hit the side of my head like an egg, like a yolk inside of an egg. Oh, my gosh. And never golfed again. I don't know why. Never golfed again. That was the last golf I ever did. We should do that again. Wait. Get drunk? Yeah, the whole thing. All right, Lindsay. What do you want, a one, two, or three-point question? How about a two? You got it. Your two-point question is, what is Skye's second car called? I don't know. I didn't even know she had a second car. You got three cars. I don't have. Her second car is called the beach car. Of course it is. Well, yes, it's the one that I take to the beach. I don't have.
The beach car. That's another good question. Well, the one that I take to the beach is, it's topless. Who sold that car? The beach is topless? No. The car is topless? Well, sometimes the ones I go to are topless, but yes, the top of the car comes down. That's only in Disneyland, right? And this is... Andy, stop it. Eddie, how dare you? That's not how it went, Eddie. That's not how it went. What is that? Eddie's sticking his tongue out. He's doing the whole thing, imitating Skye when she was 14 on Space Mountain when she was flashing on Space Mountain. She got kicked out. Authorities came up to her when they got off the thing and they kicked her out of Disneyland. First, the bar incident. And now, public nudity? No one was nude. Don't forget the bathhouse. No one was nude and no one went to a bathhouse. And New Orleans was a misunderstanding. Thank you. They always are. Leonidas. Leonidas, one, two, or three points. Let's go with another two, Mikey. You got it, dude.
That's okay. What is Skye's strategy on the dumb chick challenge? Well, she kind of changed her strategy. She has a very traditional specific strategy. The normal one. The normal one. She usually starts out with a two. And then what? And then a one. And then a three. That is incorrect. You started good. You started good. Sky always goes. Always goes. 2-2-1. That is always her strategy. 2-2-1. And every once in a while, she will stray from the strategy. Go for a three. Yeah. And she'll try a three out. There's no chance. It does not work. It usually does not work. I have. Never. All right. P1, Lindsey. I haven't won one time. You're a liar, Sean. Lindsey, what do you want? A one, two, or three pointer?
How about a one? A one-pointer. Yes. You got it. Your one-point question is, what charger can you hear every week on the Mikey Show? Easy. Sean Merriman? That is correct. Watch out. Hey, girl. P1 Leonidas. I think we're all tied up, right? Mm-hmm. Nice. Bring it home. Tied up at two apiece? Leo, bring it home. All right. Yes, Leo. Let's play another two, Mike. But, Leo. Wait a minute. Lou Bush is walking in the studio. What's the game? Guys, hang on a second. Lou Bush is coming in the studio. Hey, there he is. The great Lou Bush. The LB. The LB. Have a seat. Have a seat. What's the fake week, Lou? What's the matter, Lou? It's on time. What's the matter, Lou? Why is he mad? Oh, no, no. I'm not mad. Okay. Is he on time? He's just being... Listen. He's being... He's being Lou. That's a cool look. Something else? Yeah. The look said, hey, here I am. Something else? All right, Lou. We're going to talk to you in a second. We're in the middle of P1 Trivia, so we'll get there in a second. Lindsay, are you with us?
Yes. All right, what do you want? One, two, or three points? Wait. Wait, what, what, what? It was the other guy's turn. Oh, it was Leonidas' turn? Leo's turn. He picked a two. Leo picked a two? Yes, sir. All right, here is your two-point question, Leonidas. What does Eddie say when someone scores a point in any Mikey Show game? Let's put it on the board. You got it. That is correct. You can put it on the board. P1, Lindsey. Yes, sir. I just got to let you know Leonidas is only one point away from winning the game. Go for it, Lindsay. I know. Go for it. What do you want? Don't be scared. I'll try to. You want a two-pointer? Well, okay. All right, it's okay. You can do it however you want to. Here is your two-point question, Lindsay. Lindsay, who on the show seems to enjoy jokes about Sky more than anyone else? Eddie. That is incorrect. No. I do, but not as much as Rob. Rob loves it. The only time you hear him talk. Oh, he loves sky jokes. I like ham. Yes, he does. Talk about it, Ski. It's not a word, Rob. Come get some ham. Stop it. Leonidas, here is your one-point question. Let's do it, Mike. Let's finish up with a one. Who tried eggnog on the show and did not like it?
That would be sky. You got it. You got it, buddy. You are in. I can't believe it. I've been waiting so long. Lindsay, you can come in too. Whoa. She got questions right. That's what matters. Hang on the line, both of you. Okay. I always feel bad not letting people come. The only time I'm really not down with letting people come is when they don't know anything. Right. But if people know stuff, I, you know, I feel like they're good people and I want to let them come in. Let's join the party. Lou Bush is in the studio speaking to join the party. Lou texted me. He said, I may have the best. Now, Lou Bush, former San Diego Charger, played on the Super Bowl team. Eddie. He's also on the pregame show with Eddie. He's my broadcast partner, Mike. That's right, broadcast partner of the pregame show for the San Diego Chargers. And he is also the finest.
maker of barbecue I've ever met in my life. Ever. And it's the truth. Thank you so much. Thank you. He text messaged me and his text message said the following. He says, I am going to stop by with maybe the greatest thing I may have ever created. Eddie, go ahead. What is this? I'm not going to say anything. Just take a bite. Oh, wow. Just take a bite. I see what you got. I see what you got. Just take a bite. Take a bite. Take a bite, Eddie. Get it, Eddie. Eddie is taking a bite into a Lou Bush cinnamon roll. That is a sweet potato cinnamon roll. You've got to be kidding me. Wow. You've got to be kidding me. He loves sweet potatoes. Sky just got to look like him. In my endless quest to bring sweet potatoes, they're due.
But you know... Listen to me. You'll like this. I guarantee you'll like this. Why are you pointing a knife at me when you say that? I know you. She's not going to like it, Lou. Okay. She's not going to like it. You know... I'm pointing a plastic knife at you. You know she... I might cause a razor, but yeah, okay. You know she hates me. That's why I was... You know what? That motivates me to find something you're going to like. How is it, Eddie? It's wonderful. I don't taste sweet potato. You don't? Not at all. Lou, if he doesn't taste sweet potato, why use sweet potato? Eddie doesn't have the trained palate. I disagree. Look how fat I am, Lou. This is the first time, you know really something? We did not argue not one time this entire season. That's not true. That is not true. No, we disagreed. We did not argue. We didn't scream at each other. No, we didn't go off. And you've made it mad on many occasions. Oh, we always did. We heard about the UFC. Yeah, you pissed me off. You already gave away the UFC. Dude, you gave it away. You gave it away. That's messed up. How could you tell him it goes three rounds, Lou? How would I know that Eddie, who always watches every UFC... Did I not tell you to shut up? I told you. Why can't you just admit it? Hold on, hold on, hold on. Anybody want some? Yeah, we can go in here. We can have our own UFC. Let that be the reason. Let's go. You better be quiet in there. Are you going to tell us the ending before it happens?
You are on a roll. Don't give her any. You're not getting anything. Here we go. I'm trying. Nothing. This is your favorite thing. You don't want it anymore. She loves cinnamon rolls. I know you'll like them. I love them. You don't like this. They suck anyway. They don't suck. They're delicious. I heard it was the best thing else. I thought you liked his sweet potato cheesecake that he brought in. Lou, Lou, am I kidding you? That's as good as Cinnabon. It's just as good. In fact, I like it more because I can get that kind of homemade. It's got that homemade flavor. This is delicious. It's perfect. I don't taste sweet potato. Sweet potato is tough to get going now. Come on now. I don't taste sweet potato. There's like four pounds of sweet potato in there. Really? Dude, I'm telling you, it tastes like a delicious cinnamon roll. That's good. Are you going to start doing that? Is this going to be a new thing of yours? It's one of our desserts. We will be opening in three weeks. Are you kidding me? Wow. 888 South Euclid Avenue. Completely took a little bit longer. I had to gut the place, but it's the Juke Joint. Sweet Lou's Juke Joint. Wow. So it'll be, we'll have these, we'll have...
Question. I love the place. Question. Is it going to taste like the stuff you bring in here? Always. I wouldn't put it out there if it didn't. That's the key. And you know what the biggest thing, too, is it'll be priced right. I think today, I went to Claim Drop. I love Claim Drop. Claim Drop is one of those only places you can go get a complete meal. And they price it. It was beautiful. They raised their prices. Really? It's like I went in there. I was like, yeah, let me get an Iraqi briefer. It was like. $27. I was like, what? Minimum wage went up, dude. Sky, what do you think? Oh, so they're adjusting it. What do you think of that? I hate it because I know what those things cost, though. You know what I'm saying? Like, to make. So I'm going. Yeah. Minimum wage. It just went up. Sky. $8 now. What did you think of the cinnamon roll? How could you not like it? Do you not like it? Who cares? If you wouldn't have told her, she would have loved it. If you wouldn't have said that there was sweet potato in there, she would have gone into it with an open mind. She would have said it's the best sweet roll I've ever had.
There's like some... You're nuts. Walnuts or something. Yeah, exactly. That's delicious. I hate so much about the things that you choose to be. Thank you. Thank you. That hit it dead on the head. I hate so much. What do you represent? I mean, it's just... I do not represent people. What do you say? It's Mikey. The Mikey Show is on. Man, I got the post-holiday blues. Not me, dude. I am... She was awesome. Must not be true. I looked at her like, you don't know her. So check this out. I'm sorry. Check this out. There is a chick that was working at McDonald's and she was 16 years old and this is in Vancouver, Washington. And she felt sick, right? So she goes into the bathroom to take a break and while she was in there gave birth in the toilet. What? Thank you. What? Like, you threw in something there that I don't think you meant to say. Oh, yeah, she worked at McDonald's. No, the part about giving birth in the toilet. She gave birth to a McRib? Yeah, she felt sick. The new McRib. Well, maybe because she was nine months pregnant. Yeah, she was nine months pregnant. I'll say she gave birth in the toilet. What? She says she had no idea. Cut 29.
She went from taking orders to giving birth in just a matter of minutes. Tonight, a local McDonald's employee is a new mom. 16-year-old Danielle Miller was working at the McDonald's restaurant on Gear Road in Vancouver last Friday. Some of the employees working with her at the time say Miller suddenly felt sick and ran to the bathroom. A friend of Danielle's asked her if she was pregnant, and she said no, but moments later... Daniil gave birth in the toilet. Daniil says she had no idea she was pregnant. What a match after that. I was more in a shock that I couldn't talk. I mean, I was shaking the whole third time. I think I stopped shaking 3 o'clock in the morning. My sister stayed the night with me. Emergency crews took Daniil and her new baby boy, Austin, to Southwest Washington Medical Center to recover. Doctors say baby Austin is a turd. New baby turd. Yeah. Nick Turd. I mean, is this a case of like the girls were all overweight and didn't know she was pregnant? And is that ever true? Is that ever true? No, no, but let's look back though. She didn't know she was, so she didn't know she had sex or? Well, she didn't know she got pregnant from having the sex. But she didn't know that she didn't have like her monthly period for nine months.
Wait a second. What about girls that don't have regular periods? Like they don't get periods. Well, they either know that or they would go to the doctors. What if you had a lot of control? Or are you sticking with confidence? Some girls don't have their period. We know that. Okay, but you either do or you don't. And if you don't, you would know it. You know what I mean? Blank my blank and blank you. Stop all of a sudden for nine months. I'm just saying that everybody's different. Everybody's a little bit different. Have you ever seen a man's blank? Yeah, I'm looking at pictures of her, and she's not one of those obese women who can't, you know. Send me the link already. I just hope this isn't all too good to be true, hee hee. The email is called rlittleashley. It says, Ashley really needs to bring her relationship strategies to an adult level. She sounds like she is a... playing grammar school games does she still punch b rob to to show how much she likes him lol and she wonders why uh she's not keeping the guys p1 sign p1 pathetic now that was in response to ashley's uh saying that she would play games like having calling cheaters hotel to get uh or if her man was playing cheaters hotel on her
She would let him believe she was cheating. As a punk. As a punk. Yeah. I never said that I don't know why I don't get guys. No, I understand that. So that was a false. That's what they said. It was people empathetic that said that. Well, I know, but. I think it's clear. He said that I said that. Yeah, they said it, not you. Yeah. He said that I said that. No, but then you said it. You said it. All right, I'm playing the video here on my computer. I'm about to take a look at this young woman that gave birth in the toilet at the McDonald's. She said that she felt ill, went into the bathroom, and gave birth to a child. And so they haven't showed her yet, but as soon as I see her, I'll let you know if she's overweight. This guy says she is not overweight. Okay. Yeah, she's not really what you would think of as a typical obese person. To not notice that you're nine months pregnant. But if your stomach was going out like that, I would think maybe not pregnant, but maybe have a tumor. I mean, you're just blowing up. Something's wrong. Your parents don't notice that? You should go to a doctor. What about when that thing is kicking in your stomach? What about that? Do you ever wonder? Gas. Gas, dude. Come on, gas. I have it right now. You're pregnant. Go to the bathroom already. I'll see ya. Wait.
Later. You guys were talking about soapbox racing earlier? Mm-hmm. You actually soapbox raced? No, no, no, dude. This was a Cub Scout. Okay. It was wooden cars. It was wooden cars. What are you saying, Lou? Are you saying he's not capable of something against soapbox? This guy wants to run with the bulls, Lou, okay? You don't tell him what he can and can't do. Who wants to run with the bull? I do. He's going to Spain. You're going to train for it first, though? Have you seen those people? Come on, Lou. We're going to watch you on TV. It's going to be that guy. The guy, as soon as he jumps down, gets flipped over. That's not true. Wait a second, Lou. You know as well as I do. Those guys are drunk. They get hurt. When you look at those people, do you see any black guys running around like this? What does that mean? What does that mean? Yeah, what does it mean? No, I think it's challenging. I think it's inspiring that you want to go out and do something. Black people are smarter than... We just look at things differently. We're the same, but we're different. We go, nah, man, that's going to hurt. It's stupid. Jumping out of planes. Only some dumb cracker is going to do that. You see what always gets me? The people that surf, they get bit by a shark, and then they go back in the water. Why? What are the odds of it happening twice, Lou?
Do I want to find out? Thank you. Look. Let me tell you something. If I got beat up one time at this club, I wouldn't go back to that club. Things would make you go, hmm. Things would go, hmm. No, but you people. No, but you special people. You people. You special people. No, it's not racist. It's just what we do. I want to ask you as a black man. Please, let me ask you. Because I always said, the other day, my wife and I were driving, and my wife says, what's a stereotype about white people? And I said that you guys let your kids slap you at Starbucks. And she goes, that's true. And I go, yeah, you do. White women. Now, I go, honey, I go, here's a stereotype about white women. That they with their children are like, no, honey, that's not correct. You need to search your feelings inside and ask yourself. And then you need to communicate your feelings to mine and all equate your feelings. And if you want to share your feelings, then you tell me. But you're a human being and you've got to share your individualism. You have displaced anger. And I said to him, I go, honey.
I go, that's what you do as a white lady. You fit the stereotype. I go, you ever see Mexicans or blacks saying to their child, now, honey, you need to search who you are as an individual. It's true. It's a truth. I can say it as a Mexican. Lou, you can say it as a black guy. We don't say that to our children. We don't say, now, sweetheart, you need to search. Now that you have kids, you be out like you're at a Starbucks and you go. Boy, if I would have ever. Oh, dude. You know what I'm saying? I would have been picking myself up. Or like these parents in airports with the leash. Yeah. That is just pathetic. But when you're at the Starbucks and you see the kid hit and you see the mother go, no, John, that's not right. Jonathan, we don't hit with our hands. We hit with our mind and we keep it inside. And you're like. Turn Jonathan around and give him a pretty good one on the butt with your hand. I got a great one. I got a great one. Once your kids get older, you'll see. You have many. We were in IHOP one morning. We're all eating. My four-year-old is rambunctious. He's challenging. He's a good way to put it. He's going to be the one that my wife, when he was born, I remember she was going, because we had such an experience with Lou, my now seven-year-old. She's like, oh, he's going to be good. He's going to be the best one.
And my mom was like, he's the one that's going to get you. And I'm like, he was quiet. I mean, didn't cry. Dude, this little man is just... He's vicious. I mean, I never thought I would negotiate with my child. I negotiate now. I had to change my tactics. It just didn't work with him. What do you negotiate? What happened at IHOP? We're at IHOP eating, and he will not sit in his seat. I have to sit next to him, because if I don't, he's not threatened. So, therefore, he'll stand up. He will turn over. He will stand up, and he'll turn around the people behind him. Oh, no. You can't do that. I'm not having that. But I can't have that. You know, you say that. See, I said that, too. But I like that. See, so I'm like, look, man. grabbing his leg under the table, and I'm going, when I get you to come, we are going to have a discussion. You know what? I said, one more time, we're going to go to the bathroom. That's the key word. Bathroom. So my son, Lou, looks at me like, you're not going to make it. He does something again, and I turn, and I look at him, and he looks at me as loud as he possibly can, and screams, I'll be good! And everybody in the place looked at me, and I was like, Eddie, you know me. And I was like, oh!
And it took everything I had. And I looked at him and said, you wait until I get you home. He didn't even eat. He just looked at me the whole time like, I messed up. And he's like, Daddy, I'm sorry. Dude, I didn't know what to do last night. My brother and my sister-in-law were in town. We took Jake to, we took him out. And Rebecca stayed home. And we were going to go grab some food and bring it back to the house. So we go out. And I have this little... It's like a little plastic car with a handle on it. You stick Jake in it. He loves it. You push him around, right? It's plastic. So we take that, and we take him into this deli, and he's fine. We get in the deli, and just randomly, he goes, face turns sad, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, right? And I go, oh, no. And I don't know why he's crying, but it's like tears and like something's wrong. What's the pastrami? Dude, I can't tell you. Do you want to know what it turned out to be? That he was hungry and I had no clue, bro. Like I thought I was saying to my brother and sister, I was gone. You know what it is? He's going through this separation thing with Rebecca. He missed Rebecca. I pick him up and I take him outside. I'm like, I don't know what's the matter with him. So I'm holding him. And I'm like, and I'm like, you can act like a man.
I'm singing to him, and he'll stop for a second, start up again. The most frustrating thing as a parent before they talk is what's the matter? I don't know what's the matter. I don't know what I'm going to do when we get to the point where they can talk, but they're like, I don't care what you want, and I don't care what I'm doing what I want. Yeah, you're going to have to get some good books, man. Well, you know what my sister-in-law did, and it worked. This is what she did, and it sounds crazy. This sounds nuts, but she did it. And she only had to do it once because for whatever reason, something happened in the kid's mind. The kid didn't do it again. This is my niece when she was a kid. They went to a grocery store. And she's sitting in the thing where you put the kid in the, you know what I mean, where the legs go through on the cart. So they're going through and they shop. And she's got a shopping cart full of groceries. Jennifer, my niece, starts acting up. And she tells her, you need to stop. You need to settle down. She's not. She's freaking out. She's still going at it. She says, if you don't stop, we're going to leave. She starts doing it. Joanne, my sister-in-law, picks her up, takes her out of there, and walks out of the grocery store and leaves a cart full of groceries there. And for whatever reason, that freaked Jennifer out. Screaming, crying when she picked her up that we're leaving. And she warned her, you know, we're leaving. For whatever reason, the leaving, she didn't want it. So next time you go to the grocery store, you keep doing that, we're leaving. You do that one more time, we're leaving.
Stopped right away. That's pretty good. I thought it was interesting, but she says you've got to be willing to leave that grocery cart full of stuff. Now, here's the deal. All kids are different. You know that Happiest Baby on the Block that I've talked about a million times? Have you ever heard of that, Lou? No. It's for infants. When you have a baby, if you've never seen this DVD, Happiest Baby on the Block, get it. It's like magic. It's like a baby whisperer. And it truly works. Okay, well, now they got the happiest toddler on the block. So when Rebecca and I got it, we thought, oh, perfect. It's exactly for Jake's age. No way we do this stuff. No way we do this. We watched it. We said, we're not doing that stuff. We saw the first one loved it. This one, no way. Yeah, it's like Baby Einstein. You play Baby Einstein, and then you get to that age, you're going, he's not going to listen to this. Well, it wasn't that for us. It was, I don't think that that's, I don't think that's a good idea. Do you remember? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. This is what he said to do. When your kid is – one of his suggestions was when your kid is throwing a fit and is 15 months old or almost two years old or whatever. He's throwing a fit and they don't speak English like Jake. They don't speak English. He says that what you need to do is you need to communicate with them. He said you have to think of a toddler like a caveman. A caveman doesn't know how to effectively speak English and they just go, whoa, whoa, whoa, right?
So he said the mistake that we make as parents is we try to talk to the toddler like an adult. And we say, don't do that, John. Well, he doesn't even understand what that means. When we go, don't do that, Johnny. Don't do that. He says they don't get that. So he says what they want is to – the frustration for them is you don't get what I want. And so he said that what you do is you communicate back. The same exact way. You tell them what they're saying, only you go, and he shows you. You go like this. I don't want to go outside. I don't want to go. You like throw this little fit, and he shows it, and they stop. Like they look at what you're doing, and he says, once you do that, then you redirect and go, but you know what? We can go outside. Let's go outside. And he shows it a million times, and the kids respond to it, and it works, okay? That particular thing. I said, there's something. I said, honey, is there something in your brain that just keeps going off that goes two wrongs don't make a right? And she goes, yeah. And I go, I don't know why, but that's what. Now, with that particular example, you know what, man, to each their own. This next example, not doing this. And it works before I even tell you what it is. It worked on the video and people do it. And it's teaching people to do this. He calls this next technique gossiping.
He says that it is a natural, innate, human characteristic of ours to be interested in gossip. And so when you're trying to get your child to do something, if you have someone else there, anybody else there, like let's say, Eddie, that Skye is my kid and she's acting up, right? And I'm trying to get – and let's say that the thing is – let's say that the deal is that I'm trying to get Skye. to come closer to the microphone, and she won't. She's sitting back, and she won't do it. What he says I should do is go over to Eddie and go, I just want to think. And the toddler hears that, and all of a sudden they come closer. And he shows you a million examples of the kids doing it. And then he shows you testimonials of parents going, I'll tell you what. That gossip thing was like a miracle worker. I told Joey to do something. Joey didn't want to do it, so I went to his sister, and I said, I just want to thank you. Right? Come to my house. What do you guys think of that? What do you guys think of that? It worked, but I said to Rebecca, I go, I don't want to teach Jake. Like, gossiping is good. Mommy gossips. About me.
Yeah. And I go, not only that, I said, but you're also going, the way that I'll communicate with you is by not communicating with you. I don't, I'm not going to talk to you. I'm going to talk to you. Something to the fact of they're not. communicating at this age. Like a normal person. Like an adult. Just because they can't talk. And I'm sure you'll understand you. And I don't think, and I think the youngest, like my youngest now, will probably be one of our smartest ones because he's always around his brothers doing their homework and his sister doing their homework. So he's kind of like doing his ABCs earlier, things like that. He's like a year ahead. Because I don't believe that. I never have believed that. Oh, they don't know what you're talking about? Oh, they do. They know. I mean, we can say to Jake, I'll go, Jake, where's the light? And he'll point, you know? Jake, you know, where's Barry? We got 50,000 Berries. No. You have to have a Barry reserve. Oh, okay, just in case. It's a blanket with a little bear on it. You got to have 50,000 of them. You say, where's Barry? And he'll go get him and bring him to you. So they get it. But this idea of like, okay, well, I'm going to get him to do something by. Interesting.
Conditioning him. I don't know. Well, you're letting him know that it's okay for mom and dad to gossip, number one. It's okay. And also, if I want to communicate about you, I'm not going to do it with you. I'm going to do it with your brother and blah, blah, blah, blah. And I just was like, I go, I don't know about that. And I'm telling you, we went into this video thinking, last one was magic. This one's going to be magic. And it works. No doubt about it. I just didn't. I don't think that's right, man. There was something about it that was just weird to me. Skye likes it. I can tell Skye. Do you like it, Skye? I don't know. People with their first kid, they always try these things. You get two or three, you're going to be like, no, we got this. Whatever. No, just get, yeah, you go. Go over there with your brother. Come on. I got a question, Lou. Yep. What do you think? Do you know anything about Mercury Morris? Yes. Okay. I got a clip here, and the clip just says, Mercury Morris may be crazy. Now, I don't know that Mercury Morris is crazy. I don't know if Mercury Morris is crazy. Who's that? He used to be on the Miami Dolphin team that went undefeated. He was the running back. Now, have the Patriots nearly tied that record? Or did they have to go to the Super Bowl and win it? No. Dolphins went 17-0. 14-0 back then. Well, they were 14-0, but then they won the two games to win the Super Bowl. Or three games. They were 17-0 total.
So the Patriots are 16-0. If they win their first playoff game, they'll be 17-0, tie the Dolphins record. But to go completely undefeated, they've got to win the Super Bowl. Okay, so if they play this first game and win this first game, they tie them. And if they win the Super Bowl, they actually beat them. Actually, the championship game would be the tie-breaking, and then 19-0 would be the Super Bowl. But as far as their record is concerned, an undefeated season, they did that. Now, here's the other thing. What I want to know is, what will it take for those guys to stop popping champagne? Or is that over now? Oh, it's over. It should be over. Technically. Yeah, technically. They're done. I'm so happy. I hate Nick Panikani. I hate it, too. Sky, do you know what we're talking about? Yeah. The guys from the Dolphins team get together every year annoyingly. Yeah. When there's a team that hasn't lost. Right. And they get together, and when they lose the game, they all pop a bottle of champagne and celebrate. In the skybox. The last undefeated team to lose. I'm so sick of it. So anyway, you guys are saying that's done. They're not going to do that anymore. They shouldn't. They do. They are crazy. Well, Mercury Morris was doing an interview with ESPN. Now remember, it was the 1972 Miami Dolphins. First team to ever have this perfect season.
And Mercury starts sharing his views on the Patriots' current 16-0 record. Cut four. We say hello now to Mercury Morris. And Mercury, why aren't the Patriots in your neighborhood yet? Actually, because our neighborhood is the finality. They are in a status called unbeaten. So thus far, they are not undefeated. Undefeated is the culmination of being unbeaten. So after you've won all your games, regardless of how many that is, it's not... about how many games you've won. It's about how many games you didn't lose because that's the criteria for the automaticness of going undefeated. And unfortunately, the only person who really knows what they're talking about in this conversation is me because I speak from what's called subjective experiential knowledge, meaning I went undefeated along with all the 45 of my other teammates. So everything that you're talking about is speculation. Lou. You know what?
I'm going to take a hit on that one, guys, because I said white people. He's a brother. I got to take one on the chin for that one. Wow. You know what? A dictionary in the wrong hands is dangerous. First words, man. He's just running with it. That was a little on the crazy side. That's right. That was a little on the crazy side. Wow. Automatically. What did he say? Automagnus. Yeah, Automagnus. Rosie O'Donnell did a video blog. Rosie who? Rosie O'Donnell. She did a video blog while in the pool with her kids. Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. And she's in the pool with her kids. You know, it's very normal. And she decided, somebody grab a video camera. Film me. I'm going to talk. I need to blog right now. I need to blog. She loves to blog. I love to blog. Get our blog on. Who wants to see Rosemary? Get your blog on. I want to get my blog on. You guys want to see a real big blog? No. I don't know. So she's in the pool with the kids. To understand the street, she's dropping the kids off at the pool. Is that what I want to understand? I think so. She's in the pool with the kids, and she's responding to being named the most annoying celebrity of 2007. Yes. Cut 23.
I apparently am the most annoying celebrity, according to Parade Magazine. And frankly, most celebrities are annoying, so I agree. Celebrities are annoying, and the fact that I am is annoying. I suppose I'm the most annoying, but whatever. Yeah, they did a magazine survey. They said I'm the most annoying celebrity. Why? Because I'm loud. Aren't I loud? Yeah. You don't think? Some people don't like Facebook. No, it doesn't. Strangers. Barbara Streisand. Um, Barbara Streisand likes me, right? Oh, wow. Which guy? The other Barbara? Yes. Walters? I think she loves me, but she won't say it because I hurt her feelings. Can somebody send the Navy SEALs in to raise, like, rescue those kids and raise them? That's crazy. That whale took them. All right, Sean. Sean. Sean.
Skye is going to tell us who a poll said are the worst actor and actress of 2007. It's just one person for each. Let's guess. Kirsten Dunst. How many times? Why do you hate her so much? She hates Kirsten Dunst. No, she's not. She's not. She's really bad at all. Have you seen her in Spider-Man? She's terrible. Every time. Excellent. Who's a bad actor and a bad actress? Johnny Knoxville. The Rock. What? Your boy, Eddie. Yeah, my boy. Eddie's boy. Matthew Fox. Matthew McConaughey. Well, the actress, I don't know if this is really going to surprise anyone. Jason Patrick. Wait, wait, wait. Don't tell us. Is it people will know? Yeah, but the actor... I think he's being trashed for a specific role. You know what I mean? So it's not going to be like Johnny Knoxville level. Well, Ben Affleck was trashed. For a controversial role? Who's the last thing Ben did that was working? Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Oh, yeah. What do you mean? Like a role? Like a controversial role? For a role he played. Don't give it away. Cinnamon role. A movie. Cinnamon role. Cinnamon role. This last year. Yeah. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon.
Tom Cruise, Lions for Lambs. No. That was terrible. That's a good guy. Oh, so bad. What was bad? Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. I don't know. What was a bad movie? The Rat in Ratatouille. Eddie, who's a bad actor? But I said they're not a bad actor. They're not a bad actor. They just play a bad role. They just play a bad role. Was it an action movie? They had a bad. Hellboy. Yes. Yeah, Ron Perlman. We're not going to get it. No, you won't. Who is it? Eddie Murphy for Norbit. Whatever. What's the point of you? What's the point of you? Yeah, what's your point? The actress was Nicole Richie. Nicole Witherspoon. Witherspoon Withers. Yeah. Rosie O'Donnell. This actress was in the news a lot. This actress was in the news a lot. Perry Silton. Fergie. Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay Lohan for her performance in I Know Who Killed Me. I think she got an Academy Award for this picture. How does Lou know that? Were you scared? Lou, you were at the premiere of I Am Legend with us. Were you scared? No.
Oh, you're so full of it. I think he's being an asshole. Okay, let's be real here. I'm a horror movie. I love horror movies. It scared you. No, it did not. Okay, let me tell you a scene. Let me tell you a scene. You tell me it didn't scare you. Calm down, everybody. Would you scare anybody? Were you scared? No. Thank you. When he stomps on the vial of blood and then he backs up and he waits for the vampire thing to come out. I was excited. And it came out. That didn't scare you? No. That didn't shock you? Yeah, it was shocking. Oh, my God. You guys were not freaked out by those weird things? I was anxious. Burn on your giant leg. Is anxious a better? I mean, listen. Reality is more scary than movies these days. Tell me about it. Black folk. You know? 5701053. We're brothers. With a different mother. Hey, researchers think that they got a vaccine for cocaine. What do you think about that? So in other words, it's a vaccine. Cocaine would be ineffective on you. You would do cocaine, it would not do anything to you. Which is not to say you're not going to become an alcoholic or something if you drink alcohol. What's the point? If you're doing the cocaine to feel a way, you're not going to feel that way, so you might as well not do it. What's the point? If they solve that problem, you don't jump to heroin. That's what would happen.
That's what would happen. You would need negativity, Luke. We're bringing the room down. If you have a cocaine problem, you have an escape issue. You're going to look for a new escape. I'm just going to use heroin. If you're ODing on cocaine, they'll give you this vaccine to help you stop the process. Is that really what it's for? I think so. Yeah, I thought it was for people with an addict that are an addict. That's probably it too. Well, that is not going to work because Lou said it. Cross addiction. If you're a coke head and you do coke and it doesn't work, you're like, give me some meth. Oh, yeah, do meth. It's a good option. Well, it's not every time, but that could happen, Skye. You know that. Oh, I know that could happen, but then why do people ever get sober? You know what I mean? I mean, you've got to at least try. It's not like this is being forced onto people. People want to get off coke. This is going to be used by people that don't understand addiction. And they're going to go, we'll give this to this guy.
and then he won't have a coke problem anymore. So you think doctors are just going to go around handing this out and not explain what's going on? I envision this to be part of a treatment program to break your addiction. I envision this. And how many people have been in treatment and came right back to what they were doing? Let's discuss, guys. I agree, but it's worth a try. Scenario. Let me ask you. You're going to treat me for coke addiction. Okay. So you give me this. Now, I'm not impatient, right? I'm outpatient. Okay. Is that right? Okay. Okay. So you give me this stuff and I take it and I'm like, I go do coke and I don't feel anything. So you think that's good? I think it's a step in the right direction. I'm not just going to hand it to you and be like, thanks for stopping by. I'm going to talk to you about addiction and how you have an addictive personality. Well, then what do I need that stuff for? What do I need the vaccine for? To help. To help. To help. Is it deterring? I'm sorry, it's a horrible idea. They should throw it in the garbage can. No, it's not a horrible idea. Everybody be addicts all the time. Lou, will you take her with you? Do you know? Explain it to her. I'm not high-fiving. No, get that high-five out there. Get on with that. Let's go. Do you honestly think that would work?
I think it would assist. She just wants to argue. What happens when people go get treatment, inpatient at that, and then come out and two months later they're drunk? Yeah, people relapse. That sucks. But you've got to try, Lou. So what's to say they won't relapse? They stop taking their medication, they go right back to doing it, and the cocaine works again. What's to say anybody won't relapse? Why does anybody go to relapse? Let me try. Mike, have a drink. No, if they gave me a shot and I take a drink of alcohol and I don't get drunk. I'm going to go do something else. Because you still want that high. Thank you, dog. You still want to get high. The whole challenge is getting over wanting that high. It's medical marijuana from the Bay Area. Thank you. Thank you. That's all I'm trying to say. Oh, my God. Coding, Vicodin, Percocet, ethanol, Oxycontin. Honey, Nike. Wow. That broke down. Well, this went well. It's encouraging, though, that they can help people. Thank you, Lou. I don't think it'll work. Yeah, this is actually the first time I've laughed, like, I don't know, in the past couple days. Sorry. Speaking of alcohol, Jack Osborne says, getting it to you, it's not that big a deal.
Okay. Yeah. Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Disagree. They disagree. They didn't care for that statement very much, and they say it is a big deal. How do you say it? What do you say? His quote is, everyone gets DUIs, but you only hear about it when celebrities get them. It's a big deal, but it's not a big deal, just a slap on the wrist. Everybody gets them? Yes, according to Jack Osborne. My mom has never had one. I've never had one. Hey, Rob, is it just a slap on the wrist? I'm on probation for another eight years. It's not just a slap on the wrist. No. I mean, I don't know that everybody gets them. I mean, some people do, but I don't think everybody gets them, and they're certainly not good. You know, you shouldn't. I don't want one. Maybe his was a wet reckless, and that's kind of a slap. Excuse me? Yeah. It's less than a DUI. There's a storm moving into San Diego. Everybody be aware. Yep. Batten down the hatches. When's it getting here? Maybe tonight. Okay. And they say it's going to be real heavy. I think it's actually three storms back to back. So once it starts raining, it's pretty much half rain all the way through. Wear your rubbers on Sunday, Lou. Late Sunday, early Monday. Wear your galoshes. Where else? Oh, my goodness. We're outside. Oh, man. I'll break my sweater off. Come pick me up.
I should. Yeah, I will. I'll do that. Who's going to win that? Who's winning the national title? Ohio State or LSU? LSU. They're going to pound him. I don't know who Giles Tucker is. Never heard of him. I'm sorry. I'm just being honest. Lou actually coached him. He was AFC Defensive Player of the Week. San Diego. Great. Dude, he had three sacks. What does he play? It's Giles Tucker. He's a linebacker. Outside linebacker. All the backups were getting a lot of playing time in the second half of last week's game against Oakland, and Giles got in the game, and he went off. He got three sacks. He's forced to fumble. He recovered the same fumble in the end zone, scored a touchdown. He had a huge game. Mike Martz got fired. Thank you. Good. Although it wasn't his fault, but good. But he's an idiot. Yeah. Been an idiot for a while. That's true. Idiot! Eddie, what's up with Roger Clemens, former trainer, threatening a lawsuit? Well, Clemens is going to be on 60 Minutes this weekend on Sunday. And he's going to talk about it. And the lawyer of this trainer, if they say that Roger was never injected with steroids by this guy and that this guy's lying, then the trainer, the former trainer, is going to sue, has threatened to sue Roger for...
Defamation. Wow. That's serious. And he's threatening. You do not get that. This is better not air. And if you say anything bad about me, I'm suing you. Wow. That adds a little bit of heaviness to what he's saying about Clemens. And Clemens, you know he's going to go on there and be like, I did not do steroids. I did not do HGH. 570-1053 is a phone number. Call us at the beginning and end of every show. Open phones. You can call about anything you want. Lou, that was great. That stuff was great. I wish she'd bring some barbecue sometime. You know what? I'm going to see you guys once a week. Oh, come on. Don't promise us that if you're not. Listen. Look at Skye. He's got to look on her face like that. You're not eating regardless. Don't worry about it. She's got to look like that. Okay, I won't eat your food when you don't show up. Okay? Or maybe when you show up at noon when you've all gone home. You guys need to have a show together. No, no, no. It's the truth. Please. Enjoy it. Enjoy your laughter. Enjoy your giggles. P1 Word Herd is on the line. Go ahead.
Just a comment on the Coke vaccine. What if it helps in curbing the appetite for cocaine? And if it does do that, I still don't see how it helps because methadone is supposed to do the same thing for heroin, but then addicts get hooked on methadone, and then they still need methadone. You have to at least try. They're actually not even saying that. Just counseling. They're still never free, so what's the point? This guy will beat you out of your addiction. That's right. Or talk you out of it. That's right. You're not addicted. You're not addicted. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, what was wrong with the Tony Romo thing? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I forgot to talk about that. They're saying that the Tony Romo thing, there's a rumor that Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson's not real. It's all made up. It's an act. It's all an act. It was all made up. For publicity. But is it? Sky. Yeah, according to sources, Jessica Simpson's dad was the one behind this whole thing because her career is tanking and Romo loves attention and doesn't mind having his picture on the magazines and making out with blonde chicks. So, according to sources, this whole thing is a big, you know, sham for publicity. I don't know about that. I don't know. I believe it. I believe it. Come on. That's scandalous, though.
That means if you guys believe that, you're believing that she didn't think he was something and he didn't think she was something. You guys believe that? She thinks he's awesome because he's a quarterback. He says, you're Jessica Simpson. You're hot. Of course they're together. Come on. She's annoying. Plus, what are you going to do? You're Jessica Simpson's dad. You're going to go to Tony Romo and go, hey, I got this plan. Will you go along with it? Publicist. Yeah. Do you want to be on every newspaper and have everybody talking about you? No, I want to pass for 3,000 yards this season. Oh, really? You don't want commercials and all that stuff? Yeah, I got them. You'll get more and bigger ones. See what Ben Affleck got. For what? Like eHarmony? What? How's that going to help me? Your name's in the news. Everybody knows you told me. How am I going to get like a jock itch medicine ad, which is what I'm an athlete. How am I going to get that? Because I'm dating her. People now know you. Well, if you're constantly seeing Tony Romo, if you go into the meeting, you're like, hey, you know what? Hey, man. Let's call Tony Romo. I keep putting those W's up. They're going to keep seeing me. I had no clue who he was until the Jessica Simpson thing. There it is. It's the truth. It's the truth. Mikey Show. He ain't no breath of. He is. I'm so gay. Mikey Show, hello. Absolutely. Hello. Come on. We got to go. You got to answer the phone when I'm there. All right. Last call. Bring us home. You there?
Hey, what's up? What's up? Hey, you guys are talking about the vaccine for cocaine. Uh-huh. Well, there's one for heroin as well. I know the previous caller just talked about one, but there's another one called W-Check. Uh-huh. And the reason people take it is because if you're an addict and you're going out that night, and, you know, maybe you're going to have a couple of drinks or whatever, and you don't want to put yourself in a position where you're going to be tempted to do, you know, your drugs. Yeah, it's called not going to the bar. I mean, come on. Maybe going to a baseball game. Maybe going somewhere where you're going to be in public and you might be tempted to, you know, be with your friends and get into some drugs, you know? Wait, Ashley, explain. If you take the W-tax first, then it cancels out the effects. Explain, Ashley. That's a good point. This guy's saying is if the person that's taking the vaccination is in the right mentality, he wants to maybe just go to a baseball game and he doesn't want to deal with, like, that temptation of wanting to do coke. He can take the vaccination and then he knows he will not have an effect and he can go to the baseball game. He knows nothing's going to happen anyway. That's how he's tried. He knows nothing will happen. He can go to the baseball game. What are we going to give up? Have fun with his friends. And he's like, he's at the game. He's like, well, I might as well not do the coke with my friends because nothing's going to happen if I do it anyway. I'm going to start that first baseline. So I better call my other friends and get some meth tonight. Lovely and talented Missy is up next today.
Oh, oh, oh. Rob. Yes, Rob. Yeah. Yes, Rob. Yes, Rob. Come watch football with me tonight. I'm going to be downtown at the Whiskey Girl. It's at 600 Fifth Avenue from 5 till 645. And don't forget, the Mikey Show has playoff tickets to give away tomorrow morning. All you have to do is show up to the radio station by 7 a.m. Put your name in a hopper. If we pull your name, you can eat a sampler platter of Boston Rob's Disgusting Foods. The person that does it gets playoff tickets. Yeah. Come on. Missy's up next, and she got the Lost and Found on the Nooner. Enjoy the rest of your day. The Mikey Show's out late. Go Huckabee.
