Oh, good morning. Diego. It's 6.03. The dad of a guy who was killed in Iraq was just awarded $10.9 million in a verdict against a Kansas City church that picketed his son's funeral. Padres Mike Cameron was suspended for 25 games for testing positive for a banned substance. Listener in the studio today because we couldn't do it yesterday or we can't do it tomorrow. We're out at the queue. Oh. We're doing a big fundraiser tomorrow for the San Diego Fire Relief Fund, and it's going to be out of Qualcomm Stadium. Really encouraging people to come out there and donate money. It's going to be collected by Mission Federal Credit Union, donated to the Red Cross and the Salvation Army, and we're all going to be hanging out in Section F2. It's going to be an all-day event, but we'd love to get people to come by, stop by, give some money. It's Clear Channel-wide, so all the Clear Channel stations are going to be doing this.
What's your name, bro? That's Chris. Chris. How old are you? 21. All right, cool. We had a girl that was going to be able to come in here, but she can't make it because we changed the day on her. We made it Thursday instead of Friday. She's the girl that Sky and Ashley were really looking forward to meeting. Thelma. Thelma. Even though she lost. That's right. Yeah, she was a little bit confrontative, especially with the ladies on the show. She's not going to make it today. Let's go around the room. Introduce everybody. My name is Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 37 years old. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He's 34. Sky is 30. She does news. Sean's our sound effects guy. He's 37. He's in the Bay Area, Sean is, so we see him on this little camera. Ashley is 24. She's our assistant producer. Boston Rob, 24. He is a phone screener.
Zeth is the youngest guy on the show. He's 22. He's a utility guy and he does a little bit of everything. Today is a gigantic day. Today is the day that we get the results of Rob's DNA test to find out if he's a father. Now, this is something that has been going on for a long time. In a little bit, we're going to give you audio of how that thing built up between Rob and this girl. I'm not going to say his ex because she's not. No. She's not an ex. But they were friends with benefits. She was from Boston. He was from Boston. They were both living here. They knew each other before they ever moved out here to San Diego. But she went back to Boston and has called him and said, guess what? I had this child. The child's yours. What are you going to do about it? And this was a big thing that we talked about off the air. And then we let listeners in on it. And we're going to tell people what the deal is today. So that's coming up. I had people on the street as I was trick-or-treating yesterday asking me what the deal was. Really? Wow. Did you tell? Absolutely not. Yeah, we can't. Absolutely not. We can't tell. Yeah, I got harassed all day yesterday. Really? Yeah. So just after 7 o'clock, we will be talking about this.
570-1053 is the phone number. You can call us at the beginning and end of every show and talk to us about whatever you want to. We do an open phone segment so you can talk about anything. A P1 listener is somebody that listens to The Mikey Show for long periods of time. Not just five minutes and then you're gone. You listen for long periods of time because we stay on for a long time. P1 listener calls into the show. They turn their radio down, get to the point. They don't cuss. That's a P1 listener. And we encourage everybody to make new P1s. We have two websites. We got MikeyShow.com, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. We've also got P1Site.com, which isn't ours. It's made by P1s, and I'll admit it, it's better than ours. Oh, wow. It's amazing. I mean, the thing is just, it's by the P1s for the P1s, and you can check stuff out there. It's pretty cool. I have changed my stance on toddlers receiving candy. Oh, thank God. Wow. Well, last night I said, I don't think, or yesterday on the show, I said, I don't think it's fair. Why would you give a toddler candy? That's going directly to mom and dad. What's that about?
That's not fair. That's candy out of the hands of a little kid. But last night, through experience of taking Jake around, I realized, no, it's not about the parents getting candy because we just gave the candy away to other kids that was in his thing. It's not about the candy. It's about the cuteness of that little one-year-old. Having a pail in his hand, that's funny. That's funny. And watching somebody put something in it is funny as well. It's all about funny. It's the whole experience. Yes. I thought it was about cute. Now it's about funny. It's about funny and cute. It's about adorable. Okay. It's about unity, save the world, and it's about NAFTA. Okay. It's about all of these things. I accept that. Well said. The North American Free Trade Agreement. It's about all these things. My friend Tony scolded me about this. Really? He wrote me an email. And it fell on deaf ears, I'll be honest with you. It fell on deaf ears. I said to each their own and to some they don't get. But I've changed my mind. Good. I think the toddlers with the stuff is cute. Glad.
We only did one block last night with the trick-or-treating because he was not happy about his Yoda outfit. He hated it, which subsequently meant I hated it. My wife has a much thicker skin because she's with him all the time. So him crying doesn't freak her out as much as it freaks me out. And then he would crawl and the little Yoda arms would get caught and he'd fall when he was crawling. And that was, I'm telling you, it was like I was holding myself down inside. Really? Oh, yeah, yeah. And she's like, it's okay. And I freak out, you know. He walked more than he's ever walked yesterday. Nice. She always has to coax him to walk. Yesterday, he was standing up and walking about five steps just on his own. And I don't know if this is the right thing, but we applaud. Nice. I hope that's the right thing to do. It encourages him. Yeah. So we freak out like somebody was just in concert and came out for the encore. Well, don't scare him. No, well, we thought that the fear and the excitement would be enough to get him to walk again. That's not good. Eddie, what did you end up doing for the trick-or-treat stuff? We went over to my wife's family's house and ended up...
I took her nieces, my nieces now, out trick-or-treating, which in turn meant that I got candy. I said, you know, for every two you get, I get one. So you're a candy pimp. I'm not joking. You're a candy pimp. I'm a candy pimp, and that is my payment. Oh, man. So I came away with a nice haul of candy. Now, were you wearing anything dressed? No. Well, I actually put on my shirt that says security on it. So I pretended to be their security, and they thought that was awesome. Yeah, yeah. Well, then that's an outfit. You were security. I was security. You know, and so it was cool. Like, I would walk them. I felt like a parent. Like, I walked them to the house. They'd go up to get candy, and then they'd come back to me, and then we'd go to the next house. And I'd ask them every house, did you get a good one? We get good stuff? And if it was like... where you know those houses where they give out like a bunch of candy i would i wanted to keep a log for next year like a map of okay okay skip this house because they give out like a treasure map lame like tootsie rolls it's a log like a log you know you keep a log of what's good and what's bad did you now we talked a lot yesterday about the two old
To be trick-or-treating kids. The too old to be trick-or-treating kids not wearing a costume. I actually had one of those kids in my group. My 16-year-old niece brought her boyfriend. Oh. Which, that's a whole other story. I had to have a little talk with that kid. You did? You did? Oh, yeah. Oh, tell us about that. Well, I had a separate talk with him about dating my niece. Oh, wow. Because he's older. He's a senior. Really? Come on. They're horny. Yeah, shenanigans. No way, man. Ain't going to happen on my watch. And so he rolls up and he doesn't have a costume on. That's fine, but you're going to stay with me. You're not going up to the door. Was that his plan? Well, I don't know. I don't know, but I let it be known. I let it be known. That's fine. You can come hang out. We'll have a good time, but you're not trick-or-treating. So towards the end of the night, um one of the kids had like a boa and he asked to have their boa like a feather boa yeah and he asked to wear it and he was wearing it and then was starting to go up to get the trick-or-treat and i let it happen for a little bit and then i finally i stopped it and i thought it was awesome because one house a lady said nope not gonna happen this year to him and said you're not getting candy and i and after that it made me
confident enough to say to the kid who i don't know all right uh no yeah you're not getting any more you have to be applauded yeah and there was plenty of kids out and about not wearing costumes just you know walking around with their potato sacks looking like you know okay i'm gonna go get candy and it was infuriating me but what terrible what was worse was seeing the little girls dressed in their skank outfits And I'm talking from seven years old to, you know, teenagers. Dressed like, how as parents could you let your kids go out dressed like that? I mean, I was in shock. Like wearing like thigh high. Like fishnet stockings. Come on. Like what's the costume? I don't, you know, like whatever, you know, whatever. Little whore. Yeah. You know, and like. Little whore. There was this one outfit that I think was for adults that like a little 13-year-old kid was wearing. It was, you know, it was cute. It was like a pumpkin outfit, but it was like skin tight and it went just below the privates. Wow. You know, and like it kind of poofed out, but it was like a skank outfit, you know? Right.
For adults. And she was 13 easily. Well, dude, there's this woman I saw on the Today Show over the weekend. She's written a book called Stop Dressing Your Daughter Like a Skank. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. That's the name of the book. How do you really feel? I know it. Oh, I couldn't believe it. It is a strange phenomenon. Yeah, I mean, they're little kids. I know they may want to, but you don't have to let them. Right. It was just weird, man. It was a weird experience last night. But I got good candy. Oh, well, that's good. That's all that really matters. I guess. Sky, did you hand out candy? No. No candy handed out? Well, where were you? Well, we were at our house, but we didn't have any trick-or-treaters. Really? Because the area? Yeah. Well, and there's been issues with, like, the streetlights. So there's, like, no streetlights on on our block. And there's not very many kids on the street. Was that disappointing? Did you consider going somewhere where you could watch little kids? Or were you not into it? Or what's the deal? Well, I wanted to see little kids. I mean, I bought candy hoping that we would have trick-or-treaters. But I didn't want to see it so bad that I was going to, you know, go somewhere else. Mm-hmm. You know.
I really wanted to look around the satellite and see if there was anything cool that I wanted to see, and it was all too scary. Like, I needed something that was right in my scary zone, and it was all too scary. They had the shining and high definition. Couldn't do it. Couldn't do it. I put it on for a second, and it was the scene, how do you like it, where she was reading his novel. All work and no play, mixed jacket, dull boy. I like it. Terrifying movie. How did it look in high def? Good. Sweet? Real sweet. Yeah. I mean, just amazing. Although I must say, Shelley Duvall in high definition? I don't know. Olive oil. No, thank you. I'm just not sure about that. I got scared last night. With what? This neighborhood that I was trick-or-treating in had kind of a dark house.
And, you know, we skip all houses that don't have their lights on, you know, just kind of tradition or whatever. But there was this one house that had their lights out that were giving out candy, but when you got close, you would see a guy that was probably 6'5", dressed, I mean, completely from head to toe like Michael Myers. So he had the full mask on with the house coming out with the, like, workman's like overalls type you know what i mean like insane asylum jumpsuit and all he would do is walk back and forth on the grass forget it and i was like dude we are not i'm not going anywhere near that it scared the crap out of me i wanted to yes it was scary i'm like getting chills thinking about it right now it was really scary so weird like what kid would go up to that dude we were walking right and i go and listen to that somebody At their house. And our house is kind of in this area where geographically there's like lower neighborhoods, higher neighborhoods. It's all weird, you know? And from this like little valley canyon thing, we hear this, it's obviously like a CD or a tape, but who knows where they got this? It was this nightmarish, like, it was like dogs barking, but the dogs had been, their barks had been altered.
to sound hideous and ominous. It was like, imagine possessed dogs. It was like... And that went with, in the background behind the dogs, was like screams, but not like funny sound effect screams, like Sean's basement, you know? And I was like, forget that. And I could hear it all the way. I was like, I wonder what that sounds like right in front of that house. Forget it. When I was a kid, my brothers used to do haunted houses and abandoned houses. And they'd charge people to go in them. What? Yeah. Wow. We got to get Sam or Steve or... Yeah, I think it was Sam and Steve. And at the time, one of them was in college. So they'd get like...
goat heads and weird stuff. It was a big hit, like line out the door kind of thing, but keep me away from that stuff. No age. There's no age. If you're 57 years old, you're too young. Can't go in there. 570-1053 is the number. T-Rex, you there? Yeah, how's it going, gang? Good, man. What's up? Hey, I was curious about the fire relief. You guys said you can bring money down. But I was curious, can you bring anything else down, like toys, clothes? It's just money. Nope. No, they want to keep this real lean, real clean. It's just money donations, and that's it. Okay, you got it. All right, man. Hey, another trick-or-treat. quick little story. I had a kid come up to my house trick-or-treating and he just asked me for chocolate candy. I looked at him and I was like, you little son of a... You can't request candy. There's no requesting. You can't do that. Thank you, T-Rex. Hey, you guys have a good one. You too. Mike Cameron suspended for 25 games for testing positive for a banned substance.
He calls it a stimulant, right? Yeah. I mean, it's the same thing. Stimulant. I mean, but in his words. Yeah, yeah. He says it was a stimulant that was in a, what do you call it? Like a... Supplement. A supplement. You know, and this is the second time he's failed because the first violation, you get mandatory random testing. Second violation is the 25-game suspension. Third violation, 80-game suspension. Fourth is possible lifetime ban. Really? Yeah. Yeah, now, I had somebody write me yesterday and tell me now, hey, Mikey, when you were given the laugh about Mike Cameron's statement yesterday, be careful. It's the same stuff your boy Sean Merriman got busted for. And I said, good point. I said, but you got to understand where I was coming from with this. First of all, I got to tell you, I've talked to...
sean merriman about his deal and i've got to see his face and see his body language which was different from his statement that was released by the chargers which goes through pr people and this is the way you need to do it but i got to see a guy very passionately looking at my face and saying dude that was not what it was and you know being pretty frank about it but be that as it may In Mike Cameron's case, I don't know if he did this or if he didn't do it or whatever. What struck me as interesting was, in light of what happened with Sean Merriman and in light of planet Earth looking at Major League Baseball right now, I'm really surprised that baseball players like... eat Pez. Like, honestly. I couldn't believe a baseball player put Pez in his mouth at this point. Yeah, they should be like growing their own vegetables, raising their own chickens, like the whole deal. I'm surprised Major League Baseball players aren't wearing Amish outfits. You know what I mean? And I only say that because the scrutiny on baseball players is tougher than it is on football players. And at the time that this thing happened with Merriman, I believe Merriman was young.
And I'll say it, I believe he was stupid. I don't think he was using his head. He was young, he was new, and he was ignorant. If I could say one thing about the Merriman thing, Sean Merriman failed a test. He failed one test. He had never failed a test before, prior to, or he has never failed a test even after. And the thing about him not failing a test after is he wasn't aware that he had failed a test when he was continually being tested. So if he was on something or taking something, he would have failed multiple tests. That makes sense. So I'm not saying he did it or didn't do it. I'm just saying that's the facts. Yeah. I didn't even know that. Yeah. I mean, I talked to him about it. And that's a thing. I wish that people could see him when he talks about it. Anyway, you slice it. He failed the test. He did his time. It is what it is. If I were in any kind of sport and I was taking supplements, no matter what, I would save some of it. In any can I bought, I would save it and I would mark it down and say, you know, took during this week, put a piece of tape on it and store it away. Because if I ever failed the test, I'd have some of that supplement and go, there you go, test it. That's a great idea. Especially now. Yeah. How do you not at this point? Well, anyway.
What the listener kind of took umbrage with was, well, hey, you know, when you're reading this Cameron story, you're kind of laughing. And in defense of the laugh, honestly, when I start talking about the Cameron thing, in my head, I'm going, you better be cool, dude. Merriman got busted for supplements that were tainted, blah, blah, blah. So I'm like, I'm being super serious, right? Like I'm reading the story. I'm being super serious. And I haven't read the story beforehand. I'm just reading it. And I get to this line. And this is Cameron speaking. After all of the analysis and testing, I can only conclude that a nutritional supplement I was taking was tainted. Unfortunately, the actual supplement is gone. And therefore, I cannot be tested. Now, when I got to that, that actually made me laugh. For a second, I almost thought, no, it's not cool for them to put that in. That's a joke. You know, it was the kookiness of the statement, you know. But it is what it is. It is what it is. And who knows what's the deal with Cameron. I just know that that statement struck me as entirely funny. 570-1053-P1-Bill. Yeah, how are you guys doing? What's going on? I just wanted to talk about some of the sweaty, skankish costumes I saw last night while taking my dear old nephew out.
How old is your nephew? Two years old. Two years old. Yeah. And what kind of stuff were you seeing? Oh, man. I mean, I saw like a little cop costume by some chick that was maybe 15. Looked like she should have been in a strip club. You know? Wow. And plain and simple, it comes down to this, is parents anymore bend their kids over their knees and spank their butts. You know what just occurred to me, too, when you said it? I think parents are afraid in 2007. I think that they're... they don't want the fight. I honestly think that's what it is. They don't want the fight. There may be a lot of parents listening right now and they're like, dude, I ain't fighting with her. I'm not telling her no on that costume because all I'm going to get is yelling and, that's what everyone's willing! You know? And who wants it, you know? I think that that's what the case is. Say what? I'm just glad that my folks whooped me, you know?
Yeah, yeah. I mean, in some situations I am too. You have to have the fight. I mean, there were wars in my house. I mean, just literally wars. But they had to happen or else it would have been chaos. Or else I would have felt like I had complete reign if my parents didn't try and fight me. Absolutely. I'd be like, cool. How come parents don't want to fight anymore? like what's different because parents didn't want to fight back then either but they did i think we're in such a pc society now yeah that you know there's like all these alternative ways to communicate with your kid and it's like no there really isn't there's pretty much your way and the highway and that's how it should be my opinion sorry sky sky what do you think um I mean, I think there's some truth to that. You know, some parents are afraid to raise their voice and what have you. But, you know, I also think that, you know, families today are a lot different. You know, financial strains, working more hours, both parents working. I mean, I just think our society is different and, you know, it brings different strains on the household. That right there is what, that's the cause of the downfall of society. Not of society, of parenting. Yeah, with society involved. P1 Roberta. Hello.
How's it going? Good. I wanted to know if you guys watched the Waverly House live ghost hunters last night. Yeah, I watched a second of that. Was it any cool? Well, it was really disappointing because when I turned it on, something gigantic had just happened, but I missed it and they were talking about it. Was it the ball? It was the ball moving 40 feet by itself or 16 feet by itself or something. And I came in after it had moved and all I saw was them saying, okay, move it again. Not moving. Okay, whenever you're ready, do it again. Not moving. And I was like, this is boring. Well, there was one point where they were sitting there and... talking to the little boy who had apparently moved the ball and saying, just move it a little bit. I know you're tired. You don't have a lot of energy. Just move it a little bit. And you could see the camera on it, and it was just rocking back and forth very lightly. That was the part where I was like, oh, my goodness. Now, here is my question to you, Sean and Roberta. This was a live...
TV show where they were going to do this, do you think that they were like, well, we better make something happen? Or do you believe that it was for real? Well, I actually believe it was for real only because last year they went to another place and really nothing happened. I still do look at it as entertainment, although I believe the guys. I can't help it. I mean, I think it was real to the extent that, you know, Certain things do happen. The only thing I didn't like was that they were sitting there trying to promote the ECWs all along with it. That was funny. That is just funny. That's great. All right. Well, thank you for the call. Thank you. That's P1 Roberta. All right. So we're going to find out in about a half an hour whether or not Boston Rob is a father. We're going to give the results of the DNA test. An overturned bakery block in the slow lane has still lanes blocked and traffic is backing up through the area.
We'll be right back. And 805 northbound, getting kind of rough as it was yesterday. This is backed up here out of Chula Vista, off and on through National City in the North Park. And now you've got a big backup out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over the 52. And also watch for an accident, clearing now on the right-hand shoulder, south 163 for Genesee Avenue here in Kearney Mesa. I'm Rick Lawrence with traffic on Rock 105.3. Mikey Show, hello. I wanted to say thanks, man. I switched my insurance over to AIS, and I never really bought into the whole, like, advertiser thing, but you totally hooked me up. 900 bucks. I'm appreciative of it. It always makes me wonder what took you as long as it did. You know, I just like, I never just, you know, I never called in and listened to them, you know, paid attention really. I finally did and I saved a whole bunch of money and also got my dirt bike on there as well, which was totally cool. How much money did you save? Like 920. It was pretty sweet. 1-800-777-4247. Thanks brother. Thank you.
The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. I am a recovering alcoholic who did go to rehab. Eddie. I am a very good driver, but terrible. Not respond to him. Sean. I'm watching Starch. Boston Rob. So, we've been talking about this whole Britney Spears thing, by the way, which blew up last night. It's, uh... 6.39, just in case you guys are getting to work. But we've been talking about this Britney Spears thing now for a while and the weird stuff that she's been doing. Well, apparently this guy claims to have had done coke with her very recently. Sky, what happened the very day that he claims to have been doing coke with Britney? Earlier that day, Britney lost custody of her children. Oh! So I guess that's a reason to party, everybody. Let's do some bumps.
Now, I remember this. I remember that the day that that happened, my wife said, you know, a lot of stuff has been going on with this girl, blah, blah, blah. But I got to say, I feel bad for her today. Getting your kids taken away is the worst thing. Yeah. I guess unless you're just in a coke fog. Yeah. I mean, I think if you have an addiction problem and that comes out. you're obviously going to go to what you know. Yeah. At that point. Yeah. I got like, I got to feel better. I can't feel this. Blah, blah, blah. Yeah. That guy says that that day, Brittany lost custody. He and a group of 10 other people were invited to Brittany's house that night for a little party. He said the vodka was flowing. Yeah. And, uh, Brittany got in, Brittany got into the hot tub with all the dudes.
and accepted coke from another guest and did some coke. He says she was in a great mood and didn't have a care in the world that day. Oh, boy. Wow. Sad. Well, she's free to party. Right. Wait, by the way, until I play for you guys. Dog the bounty hunter's phone call where he's using the N-word, talking to his son. He's real upset that his son is dating a black girl. I'll explain to you why he's upset. You know, this phone call, this voicemail. It's a trip, man. It will trip you out. Really? Oh, yeah. Like, when you hear this phone call, your mouth is going to be dropped open. Yeah, like, I read transcripts from it, and I was tripping out. Like, I haven't heard it yet, so I can't wait to hear this. When you look at Dog the Bounty Hunter, you're kind of surprised that this hasn't happened earlier. Yeah, he's kind of got that mullet thing going on. Yeah, is it the mullet? He's kind of got it going on. Yeah, for sure.
We're talking about Britney Spears yesterday. I don't know if you heard this, but Ryan Seacrest, the host of American Idol. America's Sweetheart. That's right. He has a morning radio show at 102.7 Kiss FM. I'm America's Sweetheart. Kiss FM is a pop radio station in Los Angeles we should be broadcasting on, and I guess he was doing his morning show. And he... got Britney Spears on the phone. And this is her describing the day of her album release, which was yesterday. What she was... Tuesday. Tuesday. Yeah. Tuesday. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So he talked to her yesterday about the day before, the day that her album came out. And what were you doing the day your album came out? Cut one. Yesterday was the release of your new album. What'd you do yesterday? How'd the day go? Cool. It was just kind of way back. And did you celebrate? No.
We watched movies about it. So your album comes out after all this time and all this drama that we've seen in the news, and you just watched a movie? Yes. What did you watch? We forgot the name. We just put us all to sleep at like 3 in the morning. Oh, scary movie. Did you at least get takeout to take home, or did you go out or do anything like that earlier? We know. We ate famous, famous cookies. And we had fried chicken. Fried chicken and cookies. Well, yeah, Brittany, I've seen your diet just because, you know, I happen to watch the television. So I know you've been eating some good food recently. Huh? What does that mean? Well, she's been photographed around town getting pizza and chips and going through the drive-thru. He's basically calling her fat. Basically. He's basically saying you eat like crap. Nice. Yeah. Cut three. How do you respond to those who criticize you as a mom? Like I said, you know, people feel what they want and, you know, do what they do. And bad, you know, how people, how people, how cruel our world can be. But at the end of the day, like I said, you know, you just got to know in your heart that, you know, you're doing the best that you can. And do you feel like you're doing everything you can for your kids? What? Do you feel like you're doing everything you can for your kids? Oh, God, yeah. Yeah. And how often will you see them? We, we aren't, um, that's like all, in the co-workers, you know,
what her custody deal is from the other day. That's what they were saying on TMZ yesterday too, TMZ TV, because I was watching the story and they were playing that clip back and everything. And like, honestly, my mind at that point was like, is that really Britney Spears? Like, that's what my mind was thinking. Like, is that really Britney? Because like, that sounded so crazy. Like that sounded... Like, such a weird reaction. I thought, is that somebody trying to pretend to be Britney Spears and they don't know the answer? And so they're like, that's, like, all in the courts and everything. I think she was trying to say that, like, it's legal stuff that she's not allowed to talk about. Yeah. But, you know, like, she's so whacked out that, like, I think that's what came out. Right. But, I mean, everybody knows it's been published. Like, the documents aren't out there. But when you don't want to comment about it, Sky, you're not, you're not going to, she's not just going to say no comment. Like, she's basically. to not really say what's really the deal, she's going to say, you know what, that's legal stuff and I'm not allowed to talk about it. It's what a normal person would say. But she's whacked out. And so she's like, I don't know. Yeah, I think she's trying to say what she thinks she's supposed to say. That would make sense. Now, are we all in agreement? That's Britney Spears? Yeah, it's Britney, right? Because I was too, but that sounded so...
But your explanation, like, sells me on that that's what it is. Cut four. How did the It's Britney bitch line come about? Oh, God. The producer told me to say that. I didn't do it. The guy who wrote the song was like, you know, whatever, you know, and that's how it came about. Honestly, if that were me interviewing her, I just know me. honestly, I would have said, who produced the album? Because I'd want to hear her say it. Yeah, there's different producers on each track. They spend so much time with them. I don't think there's any way in the world she doesn't know who produced her album. Yeah, well, I think she had different producers on different tracks because I read about... I'd want to hear her say that. But what I want to hear her say is, oh, well, you know... Timbaland. Timbaland produced that one and Nas Death. Produced track. Just the fact that she referred to him as the guy, you know. She doesn't remember his name. But she said the producer, right? Yeah. Okay. What about the Tony Romo thing? Because remember we... The lap dance? The lap dance. Chris said he saw her giving Romo a lap dance. Yeah, Tony Romo's a quarterback for the Cowboys. Cut five. Let's talk about Tony Romo. Are we dating him? Who? I don't think she knows...
I think she knows that she danced for the quarterback of the Cowboys because somebody told her. But I don't think she knows his name is Tony Romo. That's my opinion. I don't know. What do I know? Try to count how many times Britney says you know and like in this next clip. Oh, wow. You ready? Cut to. Piece of me is it's kind of about your image in the media and the paparazzi swarming and everyone always on your case. What was the message you wanted to convey with that song? Duh. Just, you know, like wherever you go and stuff like that, there's a lot of people who like, you know, ask questions and like, you know, they just, you know, sometimes you, you know, you don't know their intentions and stuff like that. So it's just kind of a cute way of putting it out there, you know, like you want a piece of me and like in a, you know, cool, cute, clever way. So, you know, it's like, I like it. Wow. I got seven of each. I got 10. Yeah, I got 10. Yeah.
I got 144. Oh. This is that song? This is a piece of me. Totally like, you know, cute. I don't, for the record. Didn't strike me as the greatest song ever. Did you guys know that there's a city here in San Diego, a community, a city here in San Diego. They're posting pictures of prostitutes on their website. And I'll tell you which community, which city it is here in San Diego. Next, this is the Mikey Show. You've given everyone a great laugh and a great way to start my day, so we thank you. Thank you. Yeah, I got the Beauty Rest Comfort Classic. Did they deliver it Sunday, Monday, or when? Sunday when I told them to because I was moving that day. Really? It worked out perfect. That's pretty awesome. And did they take your... Well, wait a minute. If you were moving, did they have to take your set or did you get rid of it yourself? No, I got rid of it myself. So they bring the new one in. Did they set it up for you? They set it up for me within like five minutes. And how did it feel that first night? Just like... Being in heaven. That's awesome, man. That's pretty... That's awesome, dude. That's awesome. Yeah, I tell people about Sleep 10. Did they give you a good price? Oh, yeah, dude. I went in there after about getting everything for free. It's a Mikey show. It's 6.56. Writers in Hollywood are prepared to strike after their contract expired last night. Lions quarterback John Kitna is going through a little bit of a flack right now for dressing as one of his coaches who was arrested earlier on a DUI charge and basically was naked. What? Who was the coach and what's the deal? Well, we told the story about how one of his coaches was... really messed up one night and drove through a drive-thru naked. Okay? Okay. This happened, like, in the summertime, and he got in big trouble and all this stuff, but now he's, like, a recovering alcoholic and all this stuff. Right. So for Halloween, John Kitna and his wife decided to dress as a naked man and a fast food drive attendant for this Lions Halloween party. And, I mean, it's causing a lot of trouble because I guess, you know, the coach didn't really find it funny. Yeah. And so now he's apologizing. It's a coach that's on his team now. Still on the team. I wonder if he was at the party or if it got back to him. I don't know. That didn't say. Well, because whatever the deal is, it leaked out of that party. It wasn't kept in that party. Want to see a picture of it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So crazy.
Oh my gosh. Yeah, if your team is trying to keep something hush-hush and something embarrassing. They're not necessarily keeping it hush-hush, but I don't think they're making a big deal out of it. Yeah, they don't want to publicize it and bring it back up. It's kind of an embarrassing situation. Which is basically what this dude did for him. It's now back in the news. So Kitna's got on a naked man's suit and he's holding a fast food drink in his hand. He's smiling for the photograph, you know, like it's posing. He's got a whistle around his neck to make sure everybody knows, hey, I'm a coach. I'm a coach. He's got on a lion's visor, and his wife, hysterical outfit, she's wearing a Wendy's polo-type shirt pullover, and she's got, like, the Wendy's pigtails. Because that's where it happens. She's got a Wendy's. She's got the Wendy's pigtails, and they're both posing and smiling for the picture. Like, I want to know, where'd that picture come from? Like, who leaked it? Yeah. I mean, that is insane.
So before we went to break, I said I was going to tell you that there is a city in San Diego that's posting pictures of prostitutes on their website. Sky, why are they doing it and who's doing it? Well, it's the El Cajon Police Department. And basically, so far, they just started doing this. They have 11 images on their website of different women in the area who've been convicted of prostitute-related crimes. It ain't easy being a hoe now. And now these women, due to being convicted of these crimes, they're restricted from certain parts of the city. And even in the case of some women, they're restricted from posting ads on Craigslist and stuff like that. So they figure that if the city of El Cajon, if the citizens of the city know what these women look like, if they see them loitering in certain areas, if they see them posting, you know, ads on the Internet, that they can then report them and, you know, help out the El Cajon Police Department. And it's legal to do, huh? Yeah, yeah. And so the El Cajon Police Department says they're hoping to do the same exact thing with gang members. You're a real hooker. Yeah, I'm looking. They got pictures right here on the website. How they look.
I'm not going to comment on that. You can check it out if you go to ElCajonPolice.org. And then on the left-hand side, you'll see a little link that says Geoprobation. And you click on that, and that's where you get it. You're a real hooker. Okay, so there's that. Rob's DNA results. We're going to be giving Rob's DNA results. Is Rob a father? Is Rob not a father? We're going to be doing that, but first... We're going to do some of this. Come on now. We call it Tone Deaf Karaoke because Ashley appears to be tone deaf. Appears? Well...
So that's her singing. The task is to call us and we're going to play you a clip just like that. Just tell us what she's singing. If you can do that, my hat's off to you. And we'll give you a prize. Why? She hasn't said it. What's up with that? Ash, can you hear me? Ash. Hello, I'm... Ash, what's the deal? Ash, can you hear me? Yes, I can hear you. Yeah, I'm right here. Ashley? Yeah? Why have you not said, it's a good batch today? Oh, no. What? Oh, no. I don't know. It's not a good batch today. Do you feel it's not a good batch today? Maybe not your tones?
Not necessarily. I don't know. Like, I just don't. You're not into it. I can just see it. I can see it in the body language. I can see it in everything. I just don't see it in you today. What, Eddie? Oh, wow. I don't. Why? Why? Why? Wow. I'm struggling with revealing this, but I will. Really? Because I didn't know if I should. Yeah. Our program director, Shauna Marie Moran Brown. Yeah. is not the biggest fan of tone deaf karaoke for some reason. Yeah. And she told Ashley that and it's gotten in Ashley's head. Come on. Come on. Is that true? It is true. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Are you talking about from the meeting? No, she separately had a conversation with Ashley. It was in the meeting because it was in the meeting because she like was really stressing that, you know, this point and I just turned to her and I kind of made a joke like,
well, but you love tone deaf, right? And then she made like this face, like this sour face. And I was like, and she goes, she goes, and I was like, okay, great. Hang on, hang on just a second. I was like, okay, great. Now you gotta understand, you gotta understand, Shauna has said this a million times, our program director, Shauna, she has said, if I was not the program director of Rock 105, I'd still be a P1. She listens because it's her favorite show. And we know that about even other program directors in San Diego, that they listen to our show and have to make themselves listen to their show. So we know she's a fan. She has very candidly, as a fan, said to me, you know what, the games, eh, not my thing. So we know games are not really her thing. And I said, what? I love the games. They're fun. People love the games, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And some people may be like Shauna where it's just not their thing, but that doesn't mean that they're not great, Dash. You can't let her get in your head. It's not her face. It's like somebody saying, I don't like tomatoes. Oh, I love tomatoes. Yeah, I understand. It just, I don't know. Shake it off, kid. Come on. You're the best. Yeah, you gotta shake it off. You gotta shake it off, man.
You know, it's the pregnancy talking. She, yeah, she says, yeah, you know, I always like just kind of mentally check out and I go, well. Yeah, you know, I mean, it's like that's my weekly thing. And so for the one weekly thing that I kind of is my thing and for her to type. to kind of bash it. I can just see she's listening right now and I know it's making her crazy. It just kind of like I didn't think it would but it really got This is Shauna right now in the shower. We worked up. Or it got in my head like Oh my god get out of here Shauna. Oh my god. And I totally know she was like she didn't mean it in a bad way and she totally has right to her opinion and it's not everyone's opinion. I know that but it's It's affected you. P1 Nick, are you prepared to play our program director's least favorite game? Oh, no. All right, Nick. I'm going to play you a clip of Ashley singing. And when the clip is done, all I need is who's singing it or the name of the song for you to win. What does he win, Eddie? We got Joe Rogan tickets for Friday night. Wow. Are you ready, Nick? Yes. Here we go. I love everything. I don't know what language that was. But maybe P1 Nick.
can give us a title artist on that one. Who do you think it was? I have no idea. Yeah, I don't either. Listen. I kind of got the vibe that Sean knew. Sean, did you get it? I thought I knew it first, but no. Take a guess, Sean. Take a guess. No, I actually thought it was something from the 80s, and I was trying to place it, but it fell apart, man. What fell apart? The whole thing. P1 Sharonda is on the line. Hello. And Sharonda, I'm going to play the same clip for you when it's done. I need title or artist for you to win. Here we go. Sharonda, do you have a guess at a title or an artist? No, not really. It was Donna Summer. She works hard for the money. Get out of here with that. Hey, you guys. I could have guessed for an hour and not gotten that. Exactly. That's what I'm saying, Sean. That was a tough one. Wow, that was really hard. P1 Rambo, are you there? Rambo, can you hear me? Okay. Wow, you are very sedate. I can tell. You are really... It takes the scheme seriously. That's right. All right, Rambo. I'm going to play a clip for you. And when the clip is done, just give me a title or artist to win. Are you ready? You got it, boss. Here we go. I'm drunk again. It's time to fight. Rambo, title or artist for you to win? Of course he doesn't. We don't plan. Thank you.
P1 Tommy, same clip. Wait till it's done, then give me title or artist to win. Here we go. What is that? P1 Tommy, you got a title or artist to win? That is incorrect. It's Nickelback. P1 Short Beans is on the line. Hello, short beans. I don't know what that means. It's funny. Okay. Short beans, I'm going to play a clip for you, okay? All right. You wait for the entire clip to play, then title or artist, and you win. Are you ready? I'm ready. Here we go. What I need is a good defense.
Oh, that's the... Oh, wow. Oh, wow. I got it right at the end. What is that tone? I'm talking about the wrong tone. P1 Short Beans? I have no idea what that was. Well, it was... Why don't we let our guest in the studio think he knows. P1 Chris, do you know who that was? Do you want to take a guess at who you think it might have been? The song's criminal, isn't it? What's that? The song's criminal. You got it. That was a good batch. I got to say, I think it would be hysterical to have Shauna on the air in studio, like explaining it and talking through it. You know, like maybe they could work it out. Yeah. Maybe Ashley can convince her. All right. Don't go away because coming up next, we're going to tell you what the results were of the DNA test. Austin Rob's DNA tests are back in and we're going to tell you when we come back.

We have some tough spots on our freeways here this morning, and a traffic alert is still in effect up here in the North County through Camp Pendleton. There was an earlier accident this morning involving an overturned big rig blocking the slow lane before Las Pulgas, and then after that, another accident that was blocking all lanes for a time. Traffic was coming to a stop. They got that second one out of the way, but the big rig's still there, so traffic's still backed up on the approach. You're being advised to avoid it. A little farther south, you're going to find the heavy back up again out of Lucadia down at Solana Beach. Your commute out of Escondido this morning, staying tough in the South 15 from the 78th via Rancho Parkway, overlay Coggins to Rancho Bernardo, and then again through Carmel Mountain Ranch down towards Poundway Road. Westbound 8, not too bad, a little bit slow here in the Cajon Valley towards Greenfield, and then slows again from Spring Street all the way in towards 15 Freeway. Your 94 King Freeway commute is heavy from College Grove Way now to the 805 connector. And then a few more breakbacks from 28th Street into downtown. And both the 5 and 805 northbound out of the South Bay, you've got the usual tough stuff on both these freeways coming out of Chula Vista up through National City. 805 continues heavy off and on in through North Park. And now you're going to find the slowdown coming out of Kearney Mesa from the 163 heading up towards Governor Drive in the Golden Triangle. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Casting from Wireless Studios. I love it. I love it. I love what a spectacle it is. KIOC San Diego's Rock.
This is The Mikey Show. I think it's cool. Featuring Mikey. Mikey is a very judgmental jerk, and I fight that. I do not like Killer Whip. Sean. Boston Robb. What's our memory loss? And Ashley. I'm not that great anyways. The Mikey Show's on. Come on. 105.3. It's the moment many of you have been waiting for. I'm telling you, man. I'm telling you, it's the moment that many of you have been waiting for. If you're trying to get to work right now, 7-19, so just so you know what time it is you're trying to get to work. Rob? You can be late for this to work. I give you permission. Wait. Yeah, I have the authority. No, you don't. Well, I grant myself the authority to do that then. No. Rob, I want you to walk listeners through your day. Yeah. What an eventful day it was. Before you do, I want to let people know that have never, don't have a clue what's going on right now.
Boston Rob is our phone screener, but more than that, he's just a good friend of ours. We've gotten to know him a lot over the last couple of years. He came out here from Boston. When he came out here, there's a friend of his back in Boston. It's a girl. She came out here, too. We came out separately. Get that? Correct. Yes. You moved out here for her. Okay. Is he really going to do this right now? I don't know. I'm confused. Can we shut his mic off? He followed her, right? I finally figured this out. Oh, no. No, she was out here before me and her being out here had nothing to do with me coming out here. They became friends with benefits. They became friends with benefits. She moved back to Boston. She recently called him and said, I have a baby. The baby's yours. Everyone, including his own mom, urged him to get a test to prove whether or not
The child is his. So walk me through your day of getting the results yesterday. Okay, well, they said I could call noon my time, which is three their time. And that's like the earliest I could give them a call. So, you know, I finish up everything at work and it was like right before noon. So I asked Zeth, actually, I was like, hey, dude, I'm going to go out to lunch. You know, I'm going to get some food and then I'm going to make this call. Would you care? Like I wanted someone to be with me just like when I made the call. In case I lost it or whatever. So you wanted your new girlfriend. You know what he means. He means you're my friend. I'm offering a little levity and humor. It's not funny and I'm not fist bumping you. You're not going to fist bump that? No. It's not appropriate right now, Eddie. So me and Seth go out to lunch, whatever. Right after I finish eating, I decide to make the call. So we go outside. And I get through. And I talked to this lady who I could tell she was kind of flustered at something. Like the second she picked up the phone, it didn't seem like she wanted to talk to me at all. So I start to, you know, I give her my last name. I give her all my info. And I said, you know, today was the day you guys said at noon I could call. I need to get my results. And she does whatever she's doing on her computer. Like I can hear her working in the background. It sounded kind of busy there.
Comes back and she's like, you know what, I can't find your stuff right now. Can you give me a call back in a little bit? And I'm like, hold on. That's the best thing you want to hear right now. And she's, you know when someone's on the phone with you and they're kind of rushing you, she's almost kind of rushing me to the point where I felt like if I didn't interrupt her and say, no, no, no, you hold on one second, she was just going to kind of let me go. I walk away from Zeth at this point and he automatically is kind of freaking out and laughing at me. Giving me a hard time about it. And I had to walk down the block from the taco shop that we're at. Now, I'm going to play you something real quick. This was Heather. It's a baby's mama. This was Heather on the air with us when we were discussing it the last time. Don't you realize how much you sound right now like a woman that doesn't want to take it because you're afraid of the results? Don't you realize that that's exactly what this sounds like? Well, of course I'm afraid of the results. I'm afraid that he's not going to step up and start taking care of his son. That's Heather. That was me asking her, you know, you sound like you're afraid to take this DNA test. She says, yeah, the reason I'm afraid is because I think he won't step up and do the right thing. Wait until I tell you when I... Okay, so go ahead. Let me finish. I got a lot I want to get out. Okay, so at this point, I had to walk pretty far away from Seth because he was harassing me and not...
You know, just being cool like I invited him to be. Like I wanted him to come out and just be cool and just be my boy when I found out whatever. So now I start explaining to this lady and I'm trying to stay calm because... Nope, wait, wait, wait, wait. Sorry, bro. Go ahead. That's all right. I wanted to get Zeth in on this too and I forgot that your microphones are on the same thing and then I forgot where he is. Okay, go ahead, Zeth. If you want to chime in at any time because you were there with him while all this was going on. So anyway, so go ahead, Rob. So now I start to explain to this lady. I've been waiting for a while. Today is the day. This is like the time you said it was the earliest I could call. I was just expressing how much I would appreciate if she looked a little harder for me. You understand what I'm saying? Well, it's kind of a big deal. Yeah, yeah. It's not something that I can brush off. Like, I wanted to know two weeks ago. I had to wait till now. Just... Give a little double check. Don't try to rush me off the phone. Right. And this is the tone of doing it. I'm not getting upset yet. Can you imagine two Bostonians getting snippy at each other on the phone? Yeah. Oh, good times. So I'm still trying to keep my calm. And we kind of can all relate to, you know, it's never as important to other people as it is to us. No, well, she...
She works this. She's dealing with this all the time. To her, it's like, you know what? A lot of people want to find... Take it easy. Take a breath. Kind of a hothead sometimes. No. Listen, I stayed calm. I stayed calm. Okay. Dude, you know... I'm calm right now. Not really. Listen, I'm not a hothead. If you had flipped out on her, she'd be like, you know what? We'll call you when we figure it out. Well, that's the whole reason I'm trying not to lose my cool with her. Because I figured... She hangs up on me. I call back. I'm probably going to get her again. And this ain't going to go anywhere for me. We got to get to it. So what happens? So long story short with this conversation. Yeah. She can't find my results. And I don't know if now she's kind of, you know, just being mean to me and messing with me or if legitimately she can't. find anything in the computer on me. So she tells me, listen, the best you're going to have to do is give us a call back in the next hour or so. We close at 5 here, so I had until 2 o'clock. By now it's about 12.20. So she goes, you've got to give us a call by 5 o'clock. So my time, 2 o'clock. And hopefully by then I can do a little more research. I'm kind of swamped right now, but I'm going to do the best I can. You don't want to call right at 2 because that's closing time. No. And now my catch is like...
That was the time I had lauded in my day to find things out, give you guys a call, shoot a couple people a text message. You know what I mean? Between 12 and 1 was my time to find out, kind of just assess my situation, deal with it for a little bit. And then yesterday we got paid, so I had bills to do. I had to get a tire change in my car. I had a lot of stuff going on yesterday besides this. Priorities. And I'm not trying to push this off. So I'm like, all right, I'll try to get as much as I can do. or as much as I can get done. Oh, shit. And then at about quarter to two, I'm going to give them a call. That gives me 15 minutes to work with them on the phone. Okay. So I'm getting all my stuff done, and now I'm at the tire place, about to pay for my tire, and I just realized that it's about quarter to two. Like, it kind of skipped my mind. Oh, my gosh. It skipped your mind. Oh, my gosh. Do you guys know that if I don't write stuff on my hand, I'm an idiot? Well, then why didn't you write it on your hand? Because I didn't have a pen when I was at lunch. What do I eat with a pen, Mike? So unless you have a pen with you, you pretty much are unreliable in terms of remembering things and being on top of priorities. Unless you have a pen, you don't want to know if you're a father or not. Right. That's one of those things you would think wouldn't slip in your mind. Why don't you make Zeth into a giant pen? Yeah.
It was Halloween yesterday. Yeah. I had to remind him. Yeah, you should make Zeth start carrying pens for you. He's the one that reminded you? He's the one that said, hey, dude, you better call. Yeah, well. Hey, bro, you've got to text full phone. You can, like, remind yourself in your phone. That's a cheap shot. I don't want a cheap shot. All right. Well, he's the one that texted me. Like, hey, dude, do you know anything yet? Like, what's going on? Oh, and he's like, oh, yeah. Oh, that whole baby thing. I might be a father. Better take care of it. So I make the call in the tire shop. And while, like, on the midst that I'm talking to this lady and she's still going through all the computer, like, I guess there was a few people with my last name back there that were trying to do the same thing. These cousins. You son of a... Go ahead. Dirty? So she gives me the results as the guy's telling me that my car's done and I have to sign off and pay for it. Really? I now have two things going on and I'm trying to tell this guy and I'm like, listen, listen, can I just finish this call? And he's like, all you got to do is sign right here. So I'm having two conversations back and forth, which is the most ridiculous thing in the world. First of all, like I hate being that person, but I'm not getting off the phone at this point because I don't know if, you know, if I call back, if they're going to be open. Sean, drum roll, please.
So what were the results of the test? So they tell me that it's not my kid. Dude, when I found this out, I pretty much hung up on the lady. Because she was so mean to me earlier. And I felt like she did that to give me a hard time. Whether she did or not, that's how I felt. The world is not out to get you. I'm not saying that, but I didn't need her anymore. Your job was finished. Go ahead. After I signed and paid for my paperwork and my tie and all that, you know the two-hand congratulatory handshake you'll give someone? When I was thanking the guy for my attire, I did that to him and I wouldn't let go. I was like, you don't understand how much this means to me. I kept thanking him and he was just giving me this look like...
Is this guy, like, we gave him, we changed his tire for him. So wait, so I got questions. Yeah, yeah, questions, questions. Go ahead. Did you call Heather? I called her, well, I waited. Yeah. And I called her later last night. I gave her time because I knew that. Am I a bad person for really enjoying the next part of this conversation? No, not at all. I mean, honestly, does it make me a bad person? No, karma, dude, come on. Because she was terrible to him. Listen, I'll play you the clip again. This was me, and I believe this whole time she's known it's not his kid. But this was her on the air with us, only a 16-second clip of me saying to her that I think that she's nervous to take a test because she knows that it's not Rob's baby. Don't you realize how much you sound right now like a woman that doesn't want to take it because you're afraid of the results? Don't you realize that that's exactly what this sounds like? Well, of course I'm afraid of the results. I'm afraid that he's not going to step up and start taking care of his son. So you waited. So I waited. I finished everything. Like, I took my time because at this point I'm like, I don't even care. Like, I figured this broad was going to call me back. And now I refer to it as a broad because it's like, whatever. You know, ain't mine. So what happened? So when I do eventually call her.
I think it's going to go to voicemail because it rang like seven times. So I'm like, she's going to pull this guy. She's not even going to pick up the phone. She picks up and she's kind of like chuckling as she picks up. Ew, creepy. My first reaction is like, how do you pick up the phone laughing when you know exactly what I'm calling about? I ain't calling to see how you're doing. Do you guys think that that is born of like... whatever yeah you know okay well nothing i can do now so whatever that didn't work out try that on another guy so yeah so right away i'm like what like what's so what's so funny did you just hear a good joke like what's going on why are you answering the phone like that and right off the bat she comes at me starts pretty much attacking me oh really telling me that's her tactic Her tactic is now she's mad at you. You're the jerk. I believe that she's crazy. I've always thought she was a little crazy. What was she mad about? It's not your kid. Why is she mad at you? Okay, so this is how I analyzed it. I think that she's upset she doesn't know whose father it is.
I think that's a big thing that has affected her. I thought about it for a couple hours last night. She was usually weird when I would talk to her. There was always tension between us or whatever. But now it's like she's crazy mad. There's something underlying that she's upset about. But she's not going to let me know that. So she played it off as like, oh, I'm cool. And then started telling me that she was happy it's not mine. Because I probably wouldn't have stepped up to the plate. I would have not. I would have somehow tried to get out of this or play it off like, you know, well, I'll give you money and never give her money. Like, dude, she's nuts. She came at me with everything in the book. So this morning, I'm keeping my fingers crossed because, this is funny too, Rebecca just IM'd me yes with exclamations because she was so mad at me yesterday because I wouldn't tell her. Because I knew yesterday. And Rebecca goes, what's the deal, what's the deal? I'm going to have to listen after seven. You're horrible. But yeah, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed this morning. I'm coming in and I say to Eddie, did we get her? Will she come on? And Eddie said, no way. If she does, we've got to be careful. I'm still working on it.
There was no way she was coming on today. I think she's probably embarrassed, too. She's got to be. She should be. The funny thing is Rob was telling me she was insulting him yesterday. She was basically saying because he had a small wiener. What? Why did you bring that up? That was hysterical. No. It's hysterical. Oh, Rob did not like that. It's a mini-mini. You didn't have to tell everything that you said. That's hysterical that you said. All right, laugh it up. Chuckle it up. I mean, that was a good one. You got to give the credit. You got to give the credit. It was a funny one. I hate all of you. No, dude. Come on. I just said it's a mini-mini. It's a happy day, Rob. Come on. You're not a little poppy anymore. Oh, baby, yeah. Socks win. So that's the deal. Your girlfriend now? Your now girlfriend? She's the first one I told. That's awesome. I want to know from you when we come back what would have changed in the relationship. I still got to go out and get a It's Not My Boy cigar. No.
All right, now, when we come back... When we come back, I want to ask him that question, but also when we come back, Dog the Bounty Hunter was angry at his son for dating a black girl, and he used the N-word on the phone with his son on a voicemail. It's a tape phone conversation. We have the audio of this voicemail. It will... Your jaw will drop open. We'll play it next. Say what you have to say and shut up. 5-3. We saw some tough spots on our freeways here this morning. We'll start you off out of the South Bay here. Pretty tough already on the 5 and 805 northbound out of Chula Vista up to National City. 805 stays pretty tough here up towards Imperial Avenue. It lets you go for a stretch, but hit you with a slow ride again from the 94 into North Park. And now you've got to back up in Kearney Mesa from the 163 heading up over the 52. West 94 into King Freeway. That slow go from College Avenue now to the 805.
It slows again from 32nd Street into downtown. You're right in the westbound 8 out of the East County, backing up, approaching an accident, clearing your Greenfield Drive. Then backs up again from Johnson Avenue, and then that continues to slow pretty much off and on all the way in past the 15 to the 805 towards, or actually to the 15 freeway, pretty much solid there. The southwest of the 15, that's also very heavy out of Escondido, bumper to bumper off the 78, past Via Rancho Parkway to the Rancho Bernardo. Did you dress up at all or... I dress up as a praying mantas, man. That's interesting. Yeah. I took pictures of it, and I forgot to send them to you in the sky. Yeah. Well, you could have, and it would have been for free. Yeah, I would have done it, except I was drunk on the tequila. Oh, well, that's pretty much every night. So I have to hit send this morning. Yeah. It was real fun, and when I send you the pictures, it will all be for free. I won't have to pay for the picture messages.

Here's the one to Sky. It says, yeah, that's what I thought, too. You didn't write me back. Well, yeah, Pedro. I mean, I was sleeping. It was three o'clock in the morning. and you're in. I don't send you any spam. You don't get any weird stuff trying to sell you stuff. We just give you information about the show that you need to know. Okay, so Dog the Bounty Hunter. One of the crazier stories I've seen in a long time. Dog the Bounty Hunter is a guy that lives in Hawaii. He is very mulititious. Nice word. He looks like Joe Dirt, man. And his son, Doesn't his son have the big long ponytail? Yeah. No mohawk. It's weird. It's weird. It's like a rat tail. I don't know how old his son is, but his son sometimes goes on bounty hunting expeditions with him. You probably know who he is. Anyway, his son is dating a black girl. Dog the bounty hunter...
gets upset and thinks that maybe this black girl that he's dating is trying to set him up the son because they use the n-word in their family and he believes that this black girl knows that they use the n-word and she's just setting him up trying to secretly tape him saying the n-word At least that's kind of what I got last night from the report, but this guy's looking at me confused. That sounds right. Yeah, the way I read it is that Dog the Bounty Hunter was concerned because he says that his new girlfriend, the African-American lady, will freak out over the language used on the job and the language that bail bondsmen use and that she cannot be trusted to not go to the tabloids with that. And see... I heard specifically that Dog to Bounty Hunter felt like they could be getting set up by her. Oh, wow. But anyway, here is the actual voicemail that he leaves for his son. Cut six. I'm not taking a chance on some mother. I'm taking that chance at you can't expect. That is one of the crazier pieces of audio ever, man. That's unbelievable. It's unreal. Now, obviously, I think we all have the same big gigantic question.
Unless his son has decided, listen, I am totally turning my back on you, Dad. How did this get out? Yeah, for sure. How did this get out? That's a message left on his son Tucker's voicemail. Right. Very true. Holy cow, that is crazy. Well, and my thought is if Dog is so concerned and there's so much to lose, why doesn't he use a different word? Well, duh. That's just common sense. I mean, he's going to force his son to end a relationship. Well, why don't you just change your vocab, dude? What will this mean to Dog the Bounty Hunter? Because I'm guessing now, what network? USA? A&E. A&E. A&E has to immediately dump the show, right? They have already suspended production while they do their own investigation. So the thing that he was freaked out about actually happened. Yeah. I mean, forget production, though, right? They've got to take it off the network, too, right? I mean, they've got to say, stop making new shows. And have they taken it off their... I haven't read anything about them not airing reruns, but you're probably right. I mean, it's just good business to not do that.
And what I think is really weird is so Dog, like the bounty hunter, is not commenting on this. He is sending all media and all of their requests to his pastor, who is an African-American man. Oh, wow. And his pastor said that he did spend about 30 minutes on the phone with Dog, who was crying. And Dog was saying he's shocked and he's wrong and he repents. And can you believe that now he's going to be put in the same category as Imus? Oh, dude, no, no, no. You're much worse. Yeah, thank you. No, no, no, dude. Imus was joking around. Imus was joking around and still got his butt whooped. And didn't use something like the N-word. No, no, no. That's just blatant. I'm telling you, man, that is as gnarly as it gets. We got Harvey Levin on the phone? Yep. Can we go to him now? Yeah. He probably has some thoughts on this. Oh, yeah. Harvey, are you there? Hey, Mikey. Hey, listen, I saw this story on your TV show, TMZ, last night. The dog story? Yes. It's really amazing. I mean, it is real and raw. You know, a lot of people are wondering really the way he feels, and I can't jump in his head, but it really sounds like this is just coming from the guy's gut. And it is, in some ways, it's more shocking than even Michael Richards.
Harvey Lovin at TMZ, is your title editor-in-chief TMZ, or what is your title? Executive producer. Executive producer of TMZ. And this is the big question on everybody's mind. How did the world get this audio? It looks like Dog's own son recorded it. This is a telephone conversation. Dog, an American woman, set him up because Dog is the son. She'd about it, and Bass gave his son an ultimatum. He wouldn't dump her. That's when he got on the phone with the kid, ranting, using the N-word, without dog knowing it, the National Enquirer, or sold it to the National Enquirer. Now, if people believe that this is, because obviously if the kid did that, the kid has got some animosity towards dog. But you can understand, but you know, it makes sense, because you can be saying to this kid. Well, sure. Absolutely. But, I mean, and this is just my opinion, but it sounds, it would appear to me that, uh,
there's been some transgressions in the past. Like this is something that's, he eventually got to, because he knows if he lets this audio out there, relationship with him and dad, over. He knows that. Oh, clearly. Yeah, so. That was the first thing that I thought, which is kid must have such deep animosity toward his dad. This is not something that just happened. Right. And saying apparently, you know, I was saying that this isn't the first discussion they had. Oh, yeah. Oh, you can hear that. But I've got to say, I've been in radio now for 20 years. I've been doing Radio Harvey, and I've got to tell you, that is one of the most shocking and compelling pieces of audio that I've ever played on the air in 20 years. It's amazing. I agree. I've rarely heard it. Michael Richards did, too. But Michael Richards wasn't an attacker.
I agree with you. Yeah, the feeling that I get from it is that the son says, hey, this is the way you feel. You're going to have to live with it now. This is the way you talk. This is the smack you throw down. Hey, listen, you're a big boy. Live with it. The whole world's going to know who you really are. Yeah, and they do. Now, is this today and tonight on TMZ, is this going to be the top story or is there something that's overshadowing? Well, putting on tonight. We were talking about this. Is this the audio of her saying, hang on, let's explain what's going on. Wow. Story broke a couple days ago. Harvey, when did they back everybody up and explain and lead up to this point? And went crazy because they were selling her sex tape. She went nuts from her walking in to the... Sky's got a question. Sky's got a question. Now, Harvey, when we read the story, because obviously no one has seen the tape yet, so when we read it, they said that she was wearing like a skeleton costume. Is that true? She was wearing...
a costume. How do we know it was her, Harvey? Oh, trust me. Okay, okay. 100%. Yeah. Okay, and so... It's good. It's really good. So that's tonight. Unbelievable. And what do you make of the whole Britney Spears thing on the phone yesterday with Seacrest at Kiss FM? Like, there was even a part of me that thought, is that really Britney Spears? No, it is. It is. You know, she didn't know when she was getting... I mean, it was crazy. That's why I... But last night... went out to the parties, she wore a TMZ press pass. Oh, my. It's the strangest stuff in the world, man. It's the strangest stuff in the world. Well, listen, Harvey, Eddie, you got a question for Harvey? Just real quick, yeah, we had heard a report this morning about Lindsay Lohan going out to a bar and ordering a drink and the bartender saying something about not serving her because people called. Is that a true story? I got to tell you something. I got to say, I mean, we've got some video where she
yesterday i mean there's last night for big stars in new york harvey a question then you know you're involved in this way more than we are are these paparazzi changing in their behavior i think a lot changing i mean i think what's happened is that there are people as well you know because it wasn't it was a very small group of people all of a sudden everybody you know all of the shows are saying oh this is what we want to do too and there are new agencies popping up because they think there's a lot of money in it so um there are more of them than ever and now There hasn't been before. Now, celebrities are right now under investigation for allegedly battering a photographer, which is he started talking to Pierce's young son. But they are striking back now in ways we've never seen. Do you think that eventually we're going to get to a point where laws are passed about paparazzi? You know, I've got to tell you. That's why it made me ask the question. That's why I asked.
past until something really bad happens and then there's going to be we're talking to harvey levin uh the executive producer of tmz the television show and the website sky you got a question yeah you just said something that i found interesting you said it's like the cardinal sin to talk to a celebrity's child but i know that you know pictures of celebrities kids of like get so much money you know like when we're talking about angelina's kid and tom cruise's kid so that that's like a known rule in your business that you can't talk to the kid you can only photograph them or look i mean i'm not saying my business because it's like you know it's like saying everybody on radio is exactly the same i get you know what i mean it's this is there are we have really tools without photographers there are others who don't oh there's a huge parazzi start talking to the celebrity but well yeah i think that uh you know i don't know if you're a dad uh harvey but i'm a dad and i think that everybody's got this thing of like um
Hey, man, you can say whatever you want to me, but this is my kid, and all my instincts in the world say protect my kids. And Pierce Brosnan, I got his charming. We called his publicist and said, look, we found out that the sheriff's department's investigating him. I mean, it really is. Problem brewing right now. And I think the celebrities talk to each other. It's animosity that's been mentioned right now that the car crash he got in may have been caused by a paparazzi who was chasing him and cut him off and forced him into the park. Porsche. Really? Yeah, so it's... Hey, listen. Harvey Levin, TMZ, show's on tonight, and I really appreciate you coming on. Say hi to our girl, Katie Darrell. We're good friends with Katie. Absolutely. I'm being 100% honest about something, by the way. I'm being 100% honest. Yeah. The litter box is not as bad as that. Oh, my God.
That's a true statement. Hey, Rob, you're all right. You're all right. Sky, will you agree with that? 100%, yeah. The litter box is not... It's not that busy, man. No, it's not that. It's not that busy. The litter box is nowhere near as bad as the mudfish. Right. I can't even open my eyes. From Thailand. He's in the house tonight. That's right. Boston, Rob? Yeah. Eddie got upset at me. He felt that I got you out of your game. Eddie was saying, dude, it's just... Pretend it tastes like chicken. I go, no, dude, that's not fair. It's fish. I like his game plan. I got to be honest. I like to do some transcendental meditation right before. Put myself in a really nice restaurant. Siberian orchestra. Yeah. See, I couldn't do it that way. I'd have to know what's going on. I don't want to be surprised. You know what I mean? Well, you're not going to be surprised. I mean, you're looking at it. You know what the deal is. But if you can get Rob into, like, the mental state he needs to get in, then you have to towel him, like, oh, dude, I'm sure it tastes like chicken. You'll be fine. I need to get psyched up for it. Yeah. I need to be toweled with the truth. I'm smelling this. You guys having a killer time? No. I told him, man. How badass would it be if he took a bite of that and goes, you know what? I like mudfish.
Yuck. Let me tell everybody what mudfish is. Okay. Mudfish are elongated, slender-bodied group of fish with blunt heads and small eyes. Many species. For the record, Skye has her sweater over her face right now. All you can see is her eyes. Hey, dude, I don't blame her. I don't blame her at all. in here. It stinks. I think you should shut the hell up. Many species lack pelvic fins, and this one is way too distinguished, and this is a way to distinguish them from other members of its genus. They also do not have scales. When eaten... Hey, Rob, they don't have scales. Oh! Okay. When eaten, mudfish is fermented. Don't tell them what that means. It has a complicated role in Thai cuisine. Yeah, you betcha. Complicated. Nice word. As in it shouldn't be in their cuisine. It is considered peasant food. And unfortunately, you rarely see it in Bangkok restaurants. Unfortunately? It's one of those foods that have no pretensions and many people love it. Some people perhaps... I'd like to meet those people.
Some people, perhaps because of how it is perceived or the smell of it, stay away from it. Oh, it tastes different than it smells. Oh, thank God. Well, it smells horrendous. Sky, no. What's up? Stop it. Mudfish is relished in northeastern Thailand and Laos. I just hope this isn't all too good to be true. Oh, my God. A few teaspoons is often added in food like Som Thum. Well said. And other dipping sauces. Ah, yes. It was traditionally eaten either raw or cooked. He's eating it raw. No. I believe it is cooked and preserved. Okay. Oh, wow. That just sounds wrong. Well, then he's eating it cooked. Well, it's like a purplish brown, like the meat. So is that cooked or raw? It's the fermentation.
Mudfish has a pleasant smell before it is mixed with other ingredients. Yes. That's true. When preparing northeastern food outside of the region, some people remove it from the recipe. Thai people say that durian that is overripe has gone mudfish. No way. Durian? Do you know what durian is? No, Eddie. Oh, my God. Okay, durian is a fruit that is... well-known as the most foul-smelling food in the world. Well, they say about durian that when it's overripe, it's gone mudfish. Holy cow. Also, also, in Thailand, they say that people who swear too much have a mudfish mouth. It says it right here. Oh, no. Oh, no. Got a titty mouth? Okay, Rob. No, no.
All right, let me describe what I'm looking at. Here we go, bro. Let me describe what I'm looking at. Get in the zone. Rob has his eyes closed, and he's gently rocking his neck around to loosen his neck. There you go. They just fist bump with Eddie. Socks. Do it for the socks. I am looking at a... Season's over, dude. I'm looking at a paper plate with two fillets of mudfish. The mudfish itself looks exactly like it sounds. It's a fillet that's about six inches in length. It looks like a slob. Dude, that is some really tough out of skin. Like, I can't even puncture it with the fork. I don't know why you're trying to. Just pick it up with your fingers or something. I might want to cut you a little. I'm going to do this one for the Pats, because we've got a big game coming up on Sunday. Yeah, for the Pats. I don't want a wimpy bite. It's being taped and it's going to be put on the website, so you can't... I'm not going to, dude. Are you going to eat? Oh, my gosh. Eddie doesn't look well. I don't even want to say what that looks like. It's not two fillets. It's not two fillets. By the way, this came out of a jar. It's not two fillets. It's the whole fish. It's just been gutted. What are you doing? I'm just taking the thing so I can bite it off. He's taking it apart. What's that? Jay. I may pass out. It smells like really bad SpaghettiOs. Rob? Delicious. Rob, yeah. You just have to take a bite. You have to chew it up, and you have to eat it.
Okay. Are you ready? I'm not ready, but I'm going to. Big bite. It's just being taped. Here he goes. He did it. No, he's biting. He's doing it. He's biting. Oh, it's like jerky. It's too tough. Work it. He's biting. Really work it. He's biting down on it, and he's trying to pull on it. He can't even bite through it. He's pulling on it. He pulled it. It's in his mouth. It's in his mouth. He's chewing. Where's the trash can? He's chewing. He's doing okay. You got to chew it up. He's doing okay. Come on, Ralph. Chew it up. What does it taste like? It tastes like beef jerky. It's not that bad? Like, I think I'm blacked out right now. I'm not going to lie. I don't know what's going on. Is it okay? What does it taste like? Look at his hands. They're shaking. Look at them. Dude, he's fully shaking. Hey, zoom in on those hands. What is it? That's scary. What does it taste like? What's going on? He did that last time, too. He's shaking. Right.
Because... He still has a cheek full. He still has a cheek full of it. Rob! Hang on. Hang on. Give me a try. I just swallowed so much. Beef jerky, bro. You're fine. You're fine. You're fine. What does it taste? Beef jerky. What does it taste? Beef jerky, Mike. Oh, no. Mudfish makes him kind of a hothead. You're okay. You're okay. Walk me through this, Eddie. You're okay, bro. You're okay. Get it down and it's over. But Eddie, I want to know what... Oh, no. Okay, easy does it. Eddie, don't play that, Sean. I want to know what it actually tastes like. He'll tell you. Let him get through it. Dude, you don't have to take another bite. You did great, bro. Just get it down. Are you down? What's it taste like? Just fish? It's like if I put a bunch of salt... In my mouth. Is that what it tastes like? I would imagine bad sushi. I never had it bad. But I could just imagine. Okay. Okay. I'm trying to get it done. Oh no! Would you ever eat it again? If it was mixed into like the dishes like they say in Thailand. Now I gotta say. Just give me a second. I'm getting all the stuff out of my teeth. Oh dude.
The texture was almost sawdusty. Oh, dude. What? Oh, dude. Like, at first it was really firm, but I think the fermentation did something to where it, like... Do you know what being fermented means? Like, wine? No, it's more like... Spoil. They spoil it to cook it. They spoil it to cook it. What do you think, bro? You okay? I'm just trying to, like, I can feel it going down. Okay. I'm trying to swing. Take a break. Mike was here. The Mikey Show continues. Mike is a 5'3". Did you know there's a way to stop so many kids from being treated bad? There is a way to break that chain that chains so many people to the street. There is a way.

Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Well, things are winding down in some of our freeways. Good news in the North County. Just earlier, a bad accident involving a big rig that was blocking the slow lane here overturned. South 504 Las Pulgas is out of the way. Traffic is starting to get back to normal, but that traffic that remains in effect, though things do. A little farther south, you're going to find a heavy backup still here, though, from La Costa all the way to Solana Beach. South 15, man, I don't know what's going on here, but it is very tough. Getting out of Escondido from the 78 solid through Rancho Bernardo all the way down towards Mercy Road before you're back out of it. Much better speeds out of the East County here, the westbound 8 Freeway. Still bunching up a little bit here as you come in through La Mesa, though. From right around Spring Street in towards the 15. And then again from the 805 in towards Mission Center Road. West 94, not too bad at all, man. Just a minor delay here on the 94 King Freeway from 25th Street in the downtown. A better looking ride out of the South Bay on the 5 Freeway. However, the 805 still backs up heavily from 8th Street to an accident clearing right around 47th Street. From there, you're looking good all the way through North Park over Mission Valley. Tickets about the 163. That's backing up big time again. Bumper to bumper here over towards Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. I'm Rick Lawrence with traffic on Rock 105.3. Here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. Drum roll, please. It's not my kid. The Mikey Show continues on the Rock. That's right. If you're just tuning in, we gave the results of Boston Rob's DNA test. He's not a dad.
And then to congratulate him, we just had him eat mudfish. I'm sorry. Don't do that, Rob. I'm sorry. I'm full. Apology not accepted. I'm full. I didn't know mudfish made me gassy. Common side effect. That is so horrific. I feel so bad. I did something to my insides. Yeah, you should smell it in here, Sky. Shut up. Can I come back in that studio? You wet blood fish on me. Sky, you do get very dramatic. I have a question for you, Sky. I have a question for you, Sky. And I know that there's an answer. How much? A bite the size of what Rob took? Yep.
Okay, okay. I'm thinking it's more than $1,000, but less than $5,000. $2,000. Like, we wouldn't have to fight. You'd be like, I'll give you $2,000. I'll be like, okay, I'll do it. $1,500? No way? $1,500, there's thoughts. Yeah, see, because I know that if we had it in front of her, and it was those crisp ones wrapped in bundles, she's taking a bite. Yeah. I mean, that's a lot of money, but I, you know, I can't handle, like, I could barely handle the smell. I was freaking out over the smell. Oh, we know. We saw. Yeah. We have the doors, we have the door of the studio open right now with fan blowing and we've sprayed Lysol in the studio. If you're just tuning in, Boston Rob ate a Thai delicacy called Mudfish. It's called Mudfish. Right. I cannot imagine.
Imagine the situation where a human being would eat that. Some people may say that about, like, tripe. And us as Mexicans eat it in menudo. We cook it. We put it with spices. Well, that's what they say they do with that. To each their own, huh? Oh, dude. Oh, my God. Wow. Oh, my God. That smells so bad. Oh, it smells bad. Okay. Tomorrow's a big day. Tomorrow's a big day because we're going to be out raising some money. For the San Diego Fire Relief Fund, we're going to be out at Qualcomm Section F2 inviting people to come out and help us raise money. And it's not just the Mikey Show. This is every morning show in this Clear Channel building. And we really would like people to come out there. We'll be out there as radio stations from 6 o'clock in the morning to 7 o'clock at night. And we're inviting all our listeners to come and do that.
Section F2 at Qualcomm. We have the power party when we do the pregame show for the San Diego Chargers. It's right there. In fact, it will kind of look like the power party. Now, here is something else. On Monday, a good friend of ours named Joe Braccato is coming into the studio. He's a guy that plays music. He plays acoustic guitar. We're going to have a girl singing with him. And if you want to be the girl to sing with him, all you need to do is go to MikeyShow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. And you can listen to his song. And you can read the lyrics to his song. It's a duet. We're looking for a girl to sing it with him. He's all excited about it. He can't wait. And then what we're going to do is tomorrow morning at 7.30, we're going to have you call up. We'll be out of Qualcomm, but we'll take calls out there. We're going to have the women call up and sing right through the phone. And the best one is going to come in on Monday morning and sing with Joe. It's going to be great. The song is called Let It Be Me. Sky, did you listen to it at all yesterday? Yeah, I did listen to it yesterday. Let it be me outside. Sky says that she believes that it is within her range of singing. I don't take that back.
Very good. I take it back. And wants to perform tomorrow in front of a huge crowd. No, I do not want to perform. I would like to... Did she beg to perform? I did not beg. Here's your part, Sky. Let me hear you sing it. I'm not singing it. Here you go. How come you're not singing with it? What's going on? I think she wants to debut her material tomorrow at Qualcomm Stadium. That's one of the live studio. No, no. I don't. I don't. I've decided maybe this isn't a good idea and maybe I should just let the list Yeah, that's not going to happen. Just be modest. I mean, people are coming out to donate and see you sing. Well, no, no one's coming out to see you sing. Oh, really? Everybody's just coming out to donate. We'll see about that. Oh, yeah, we will. It's Sky in concert at the Q. No, I'm not in concert. Now, if you are a female that can sing, I want to hear from you. 570-1053 if you've decided that you're going to call tomorrow morning and sing.
All you have to do is go to MikeyShow.com to listen to this song and read the lyrics. If you want to buy the song so you can practice in your car or whatever, it's at iTunes. It's called Let It Be Me by Chuck, or excuse me, by Joe Braccato. Let it go. Let it go. Let the show. Let it be me by Joe Braccato. What's up, Sky? Oh, I just don't want to sing. We've already talked about it. Yeah, you are going to sing. But I don't want to. That'd be great. Well, I'll definitely make the best. P1s look good. Would you rather eat mudfish? No. Think of it like that. Well, why do I have to do anything? She's a good singer, though. You're a good singer. It's within your range. I think you'll do great. Well, thank you for saying that, but I got home yesterday, and I was like, wow, when I sing it, it doesn't sound like that lady. Well, you guys are different, but you have a nice voice. She has a nice voice. That's what it's about. P1 Birdman is on the line. Birdman, what's up?
I wouldn't even have come out tomorrow had I not heard Sky was singing. I'm just really looking forward to it. You're full of it, Birdman. That's awesome, Birdman. Awesome. That is great. Thank you, Birdman. Great to hear. I know that Missy is listening right now. She's our midday disc jockey. And I'm going to say what I said last week. I'm sorry. It smells in here. Oh, come on. We're trying. I kind of like it now. Hey, listen. Missy. I'm telling you, we are trying. We're doing our all. We're wiping stuff down. There's fans. There's open doors. I think maybe. This may be a good bit to do outside. I like that. This may be a good bit to do outside.
Well, you know, if I were another disc jockey and I was working after the old morning show, I've come in after Missy's show a couple times to some odd smells. Well, that was the time that Zeth farted in the studio. That's true. Oh. So, yeah. Don't give a thumbs up for that. It is. Well, boy, is it smelly in here. Yeah. And we're trying to get that smell out of here. Really? Oh, she just IM'd me. Missy said, I'm sure it doesn't smell as bad as Zeth's farts. You know he does that. He'll come in here when she's on the air and fart in here and then walk out. Is that true, Zeth? Wait a minute. Missy had to talk with me about it, and I apologize for our little one. How does she allow him in the studio? How does she think that that's cool? I don't know, but if I were her, I'd say, get out of here, and you're not allowed back. Emily just looked in here like, what is that awful stench? Yeah, we got to start doing this outside now. Dang it. Oh, if I was at other shows in here, I'd hate me. Okay, so a couple of directions that I wanted to go. We got to do the dog stuff a little bit later on again. I'm still having to breathe through my mouth. I'm sorry to be such a baby about it, but it reeks. Okay, so Heather Mills, who we told you is responsible now for a dog's death. Miss Peta herself.
Threw a birthday party that cost $200,000 for her daughter. Her four-year-old daughter. $20,000 worth of fireworks. Well, they didn't tell the neighbors they were lighting fireworks. It scared the dog so bad the dog went into such distress it died. Well, I guess she just did this interview where she's talking about how bad life is and stuff. It was with British TV. And she got real emotional during this interview. Cut eight. They make up such lies, you know. They've called me a whore, a gold digger, a fantasist, a liar. The most unbelievably hurtful things. And I've stayed quiet for my daughter. But my daughter, we've had death threats. I've been close to suicide. So upset about this. I know you're kidding. I've had worse threats than a pedophile. Eddie, our producer. He's been my best friend for 20 years. He has a reaction when he hears people crying and it makes him laugh. So it isn't that he's callous to her cause. It's just that... Can't help it. He can't help it. This is Heather Mills denying she wants to sell her story. Cut nine. And our daughter, I am trying and I'm being pushed to the edge. I am being offered no...
Nothing. Okay? Okay. Nothing. We go to court. Nothing to do with that. We go to court over my daughter. These figures are made up. 100 million, 50 million, 20 million, this million. How do you know if I even want any money? Well, tell us. Yeah, why don't you say that? Yeah, I mean, if it's all these figures, like, what's the real figure? Come on. Cut 11. The police came to me? to tell me I had death threats and that I had to be careful. That means my daughter's life is at risk because she's with me all the time and that's why I consider killing myself. Because I thought, if I'm dead, she's safe and she can be with her father. And that is the truth. I'm sick of it. Alright, well, Eddie's having a hard time. Well, this morning on the Today Show, she appears on the Today Show and Matt Lauer, he sort of, well, He sort of makes it seem like he's trying to sound like he feels bad for her, but make no mistake about it. He thinks that she's a monster for contemplating suicide when she's got kids. And it breaks his heart as a father to hear that somebody would do that to their kids. Now, he tries to make it sound nice, but you got to know, that's what Matt's saying.
But I want to also ask you, as a father and a parent, what broke my heart yesterday was listening to you say that you'd actually contemplated suicide. And you're saying how much you want to protect your daughter. I have a four-year-old daughter, too. And I have a six-year-old son. And I can't imagine how you could get to the point where you would think that was a possible option. But he's got this kind of smile on his face. Looking at her like, come on, talk about it. I think that the reason that he's such a good bulldog is he really does despise things about certain people. And he wants to talk about it. Yeah, he's not trying to be like sensational. He's just, he's upset inside. Yeah, he's like, how could you do that? You can't imagine, Matt, because you haven't had over 4,000 articles ruining you, your family. People don't realize... that, you know, it's not just me. They knock on everybody that knows me on their doors. They follow them around for quotes. They write lies about the charities. They write lies about me. Then I sue them. They harm the charities. And the problem in England is, with the libel, there is a cap on costs and damages. So they will get six months of abusive lies
front page news out of you. And then they will only have to pay 50 to 100,000 damages to the charity. In the meantime, they've created devastation everywhere. And you get an apology the size of a postage stamp. These death threats, I mean, the police apparently told... Was that an edit? Because it looked like she was reaching down to try to grab one of these papers. Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if they go back to that shot or if it's like... Because it looked like they just had a hard edit where they edited that out. For the West Coast feed. They think they're the result of some underground network. You said yesterday they're such a... Yeah, they edited it out. They did. Now they're going to a wide shot where you see Matt in one window and her in the other, but she was clearly reaching down to try to bring something up and show the camera. Let me rewind. They will get six months of abusive lies front-page news out of you, and then they will only have to pay 50,000 to 100,000 damages to the charity. In the meantime, they've created devastation everywhere, and you get an apology the size of a postage stamp. She's reaching for it. And there's the edit. These death threats, I mean, the police have... Eddie, it looks like you're still not buying that that may be a hard edit. They could have just cut to Matt.
Let's watch one more time. But then the thing that got me is because when they go back to her, she's not reaching for anything. She doesn't have anything in her hand. Right. And she's clearly reaching for it. She's trying to organize it. And you would assume, bring it up so that the camera can see it. We're talking about Heather Mills, who Matt Lauer is questioning for, saying that she was contemplating killing herself while being a parent. Matt didn't like that. He could tell he thought it was kind of cowardly. In the meantime, they've created devastation everywhere, and you get an apology the size of a postage stamp. These death threats, I mean, the police apparently told you they think they're the result. Yeah, that's a hard edit. Yeah, and she was going to continue talking, too. She wasn't done with that thought. I can't wait to see if this makes news and they say what NBC decided they wanted to cut out. Why did they not want us to see whatever it was she was about to hold up? Underground network. You said yesterday there's such a fear from a certain party about the truth coming out. That's a quote. Who is the certain party? Who do you think is behind these death threats? Well, I can't say who I think it is because it will affect our family. But I know a lot of information. And, you know, certain people don't want certain things coming out because of their image. And I can say no more than that because they've put a close in the court case that I can't speak the truth.
Sounds like she's talking about McCartney. Or his daughter, because I know there's been a lot of bad blood, like, ever since they got married between McCartney's daughter and her. Like, she didn't approve of the marriage or anything. So, well, okay. Maybe it's the daughter, okay? Maybe it's the daughter. How old is the daughter? She, isn't she, she's, like, older. Like, she's, like, I would say my age or maybe even older. Okay. No, I think she's younger than you. So in her 20s. Okay, so let's say we're talking about Paul McCartney's daughter or Paul McCartney. We're talking about one of the two, I think. She's saying she's getting death threats from Paul McCartney or Paul McCartney's daughter? This gal may be crazy. Maybe Heather Mills is a little loopy. That's crazy! Yeah, Stella McCartney was born in 71. So she's 36. Yeah. I'm basically gagged. And it's nothing to do with my... Whoa, save that clip. It's nothing to do with any of those things that they make up. It's like we don't have the freedom of speech when you're going through a divorce. I completely understand the fact that you can't get into specifics of the divorce case. I'm just curious, though, Heather, what do you think is the biggest lie out there right now about you or the biggest misconception about you that is out there right now?
There are so many, you know, they say I'm a fantasist, a liar, a gold digger, a whore. Everything you can possibly think of has been said. And it's just, it's outrageous. It's so hurtful, Matt. It seems to me, Heather, that Paul McCartney has a lot of power in Great Britain and other places around the world. And if all this stuff is untrue, he could pick up the phone, he could grant an interview with a major publication in Great Britain, and he could say, look, This is the... Can Matt stir in the pot? Oh, yeah. Stir in the pot. Mother of my daughter, and the things you're printing are not true. She hasn't asked for money. She isn't crazy. And he could put a lot of this to rest. Have you asked him to do that? All I can say is when we first split, I said to Paul, I'm going to be crucified. I'm going to have a modern day stoning. You know why we split. You know the truth. They don't need to know the details, but you need to stand up and say, I am responsible for the breakdown of this marriage. You'll be a hero because people know it's always two parties. But in this case, it's very heavily one-sided. I said, if you say that, I'll walk away with nothing and we'll do a very gentle and quick divorce.
And he promised he'd do that. I have evidence of that. And he did nothing. But what about for the sake of your daughter? Now, from what I just gathered from her saying that, to me, it seems like she's saying Paul McCartney is like a cheater or did something specifically to break up the marriage. I just Googled Stella McCartney and Heather Mills, and there's an article that claims that Stella McCartney once screamed, I'll kill the bee in regards to Heather Mills because Heather had accused Paul of hitting Linda McCartney, of physically abusing Linda McCartney. Oh, maybe, yeah, because we did hear some sort of like abuse stuff. And then if that's true, this is all speculation, that goes to what Heather is saying, that they don't want the truth to come out. So maybe... Heather is trying to claim that he hit her. I think she did. I think she used to say that he used to beat her up or something. Or it was out there. I remember the Linda stuff. I don't remember it being about Heather. She's clearly intimating. Paul knows what's up. He didn't say anything. And now I'm the one that's being crucified for it. But if the truth were out there, it'd be the opposite. Oh my god. This is nuts. San Diego. City of San Diego.

Skye, when can we expect the city council to vote on this booze ban at San Diego beaches? Well, it's going to be on Monday, so that's why I figured we should mention it now to give people time to let them know that the meeting is going to be at the city administration building downtown on C Street Monday, November the 5th at 2 o'clock. And the general public will have a chance to comment either way on the issue, whether they think that alcohol should be banned on the San Diego city beaches. There you go. Hey, I thought this was kind of cool, and this will be a real quick thing, but I think it's kind of cool, and I certainly hope that this gal is listening. Morning, Mikey. My name is Kevin Fugate. I'm in the Navy as a corpsman, basically a combat medic, and I am currently away from my lovely wife, Elisa. I'm writing to ask for a favor that may seem out of the ordinary. My wife and I play a game, and this is going to sound kind of corny.
where we find new and creative ways to hide love notes from one another. It's kind of a game of tag. Currently it. Given my location, my options are limited. Plus, I thought this would be a great way to let her know how much I love her and I miss her. It would be totally awesome if you were to pass this message over the air. Elisa, I love you, and you mean the world to me. I will be home safe and sound. Soon. I love you, baby doll. Also, tag, you're it. Aww. So sweet. She is usually in her car listening between 0700 and 0715 on her way to work. I don't know what those numbers mean, but hopefully she's catching that now. Well, not so long. Thanks for at least reading this. Signed, P1 Doc. If this is an impossibility, could you play Stained, So Far Away? That's our song. I think that would still count. Feel free to drop me a line. Okay, well, if anybody knows Kevin Fugate,
And Elisa, let Elisa know that we did it, and we'll put it on the podcast so she can hear it. Tell her she's it. Yeah, we would have done it between 7 and 7.15, but we were finding out about Rob's baby's mama. Love your mouth. But can you podcast that little section right there, Ash? Yeah, that way she can hear it. It'd be really cool. Mikey, I was feeling kind of like a Scrooge last night when I refused candy to the 16 and 17-year-old kids. without costumes who would show up at my door. But it made me so angry. After a while, when the little kids stopped coming by, I simply stopped answering my door. But I feel a little better now knowing that I'm not the only one who was infuriated by that. Thanks. Signed, P1 Night Elf. Yeah, man. Eddie was out last night, and he saw a bunch of kids that were like 17, 18 years old walking around without costumes. In fact, Eddie took his niece trick-or-treating, and one of these 16, 17-year-old kids...
was a boyfriend of his niece, right? Yeah. And, you know, at first I thought that he was just going to roll out with us and, you know, not go trick-or-treating, but I think he got candy jealous. And towards the end of the night, all he did was borrow like a little feather boa that one of the kids was wearing and tried to go to the doors. And he was denied at a couple of places, which I said, bravo. Idiot! Yeah, he should be, man. You can't do that. That's not cool. Oh, by the way, speaking of Halloween, I want people to call me right now that gave away candy last night. Big brand name candies, okay? You tell me what candy you gave away, and I will tell you psychologically who you are. Oh, wow. That's fantastic. Oh, I want to know. All right, now I'll tell you the ones that I can do. If you're not calling about... Rob, listen to this, okay? Because it's going to be important when you're screening. I'm going to list the candies that I have. If I don't mention one of these candies and you're calling, I'm sorry I can't help you. But if you gave this away last night, and I'm talking if you gave this away by and large, because I know most of us, we give away a mix. But I'm talking if you gave away, by and large, you gave away a ton of what I'm about to mention. Three Musketeers, Almond Joy, Bit of Honey, Butterfinger, Candy Corn,
Good and Plenty, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, Twix, or Twizzlers. All right, that's the list. I give away Kit Kats, I'm good. Yeah, mine's on the list. No, we give away two. We give away Kit Kat and we give away Snickers, so I'm on the list. Oh, no. What does that say about you? I'm on the list. Oh, no. I'll save it. Oh, okay. I'll save what it says about me. I'm Butterfinger, so. You want me to tell you what's up with you? Yeah, I'd love to know. You're a bad person. I'm not a bad person. Butterfingers are great. Now listen to me. Now listen to me. This is from the Washington Post. Okay. And they did an analysis using psychologists. This is 100%. I don't want people to be thinking, oh, well, we're going to say, oh, well, it turns out you're a whore and you blah, blah, blah. Right. Like this is real and we're not screwing around. Again. Three Musketeers, Almond Joy, Bit of Honey, Butterfinger, Candy Corn, Good and Plenty, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, Twix, and Twizzlers. Sky gave away Butterfinger. And what they say about the Butterfinger giver is that the giver is usually evasive, slippery, and not necessarily to be trusted. I knew it! I knew it! Okay. Yeah!
Doesn't make any sense. Wow. Right on the nose. Do they give any reason why or no? All they say is that, they give a little background on the candy, but they say that there is a, which you know, I believe there's a psychology to the way that we consume, the way that we shop, the things that we like, the things that we do, the way that we act, the way that we relate to the world. And these psychologists compiled these candies and that's what they said. Now, if you're on the list. Three Musketeers, Almond Joy, Bit of Honey, Butterfinger, Candy Corn, Good and Plenty, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, Twix, or Twizzlers. Call us at 570-1053 and I'll tell you what you're about. According to the Washington Post and psychologists. How were they able to hit it right on the nose? Oh, Sean, really? Also should stay out of the sun. Let's see. Stupid. That's hysterical. P1 Gunslinger. Good morning. What did you give away last night? Twix, among a few other types of candy. Okay. Was Twix one that you selected? See, that's the important thing. The mixes are bad because the mixes could have a lot of... It's when you said, I am buying this, and my wife and I did. We selected together the one that I'm going to tell you.
Like, we even selected it before we went and got it, and we went out to get that candy. So, you selected Twix? My wife, I think, selected all the candies, but it was mainly your more common good stuff, not to rip the kids off. Okay. Candy corn type crap, but Twix. This is what they say about your personality type. The person that would select to give Twix candy bars at Halloween. They say, That you are between a brittle and supple social, you are in between being brittle and supple in social situations, that you are trapped between the two personality types. There you go. That's what it says. P1 Alma, are you there? Yes, I am. What did you give away? My favorite candy, or Halloween candy, candy corn. All right. It's a good one. My favorite. Oh, no. They say that people... Okay, this is what they say about the psychology of a person that would give away candy corn. They say that these are usually people that are deluded. They don't get that candy should not attempt to imitate other food groups, particularly corn.
It's a true thing. It's in the Washington Post. I swear to you, I'm not making it up. What's the matter with you, Alma? I'm reading it right off the sheet, you diluted broad. So whack. Figure it out. She's not like that. P1 Roxy. Hi. What'd you give away? Twizzlers. Oh. Yeah, when you read Twizzlers, I was like, people give away Twizzlers? Yeah, they come in those little mini, you know, mini Twizzlers things. They're kind of cool. They're like little 2-1s. Okay, okay. Now I get it. People that give away Twizzlers are, in general, plastic people living plastic lives. Oh, man. This is the stupidest list. This is the greatest list ever. This is the dumbest list ever. That's funny. P1 Diggler's on the line. Diggler. Diggler, what'd you give away? Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Oh, it's got to be good. It's got to be good. The best. People that give away Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are generous souls. Oh, thank you. Thank you. They are people that understand the salty in life as well as the sweet. That's what I'm talking about. There you go. Nice. Now, how is that any different from a Butterfinger?
It's chocolate with peanut butter inside. It's chocolate with peanut butter inside. I believe I enjoy salty and sweet. You know what? I don't know whether to believe you because I don't know that you're to be trusted. You're saying it, but according to the list, they say that you're an evasive, slippery, and not necessarily be trusted person. So true. So accurate. Shut up. You guys are full of it. You are. P1 Dan, are you there? Yeah, this is P.O.N. Dan. What'd you give away? Give away Almond Joys. You gave away Almond Joys. This is what they say about the Almond Joy giver. It says that the person is the type of person to put aside their aversion to coconut. Wait, wait, wait. No, I read it wrong. This is what the psychologist said. These folks are, in general, happy-go-lucky people. The psychologist was making an editorial on Coconut, and that's what I was taking out. But he said the people that give away Almond Joys are generally happy-go-lucky people. Would you say that's true about you, Dan? Yeah, that is spot on right there. So weird. I'm telling you. I'm telling you there may be something to it. Maybe it's something like you go to the store, you see all the candy, you see something about joy, and you go, you know what?
There's something to that. It makes me happy. I know it'll make other people happy. P1's 14. Hey, Mikey, what's up? What's P1's 14? What does that mean, P1's 14? It's actually S14. It's a Nissan. It's a Nissan model. Oh, okay. P1 S14 is a Nissan model. What is your candy? Three Musketeers. Three Musketeers. This is what they say about Three Musketeer psychology. The people that like and give away Three Musketeers are people that do well in groups but are somewhat pompous. We'll catch a break. Love it is. Tough love. P1S14. There you go. It's the worst list ever. They've gotten everyone right so far. P1 John, you got the candy that we gave away. And what is it? Oh, what up? I like Snickers. Snickers is right. And this is what it says about us Snickers people. We just go with the crowd. The safe candy choice. Guaranteed to please the masses. Not ambitious, but dependable. You know what? I can see that about you guys. It's me, man. I can see that. It's me. It's my life.
We go with... Hey, listen. We don't want to disturb anybody. We just want to go with the flow. Don't want to cause a ruckus. Don't want to cause a ruckus. Make people happy. That's all we want. You know, we're just trying... Hey, everything's good. Everything's good. We can please the masses. Stiggers. Stiggers. Enjoy. Am I talking about God too much? Okay, I'll stop. I'll only do it on Fridays. I'll only do it on Fridays. It's got to please the masses. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Sound familiar? Oh, dude. That's awesome. A little bit. That is awesome. Makes the sky so real. Dude. Now. I mean, obviously, you got tons of stuff out, Scott. It's obviously a bunch of baloney. Right. Whatever. I will not take that. Total baloney. On the nose. Shut up. It is, though. It is not. When we come back, now, if you didn't hear this earlier in the show, I'm going to get you a clip of it, and I'll play you the clip of it when we come back. But earlier in the show, Ashley admitted on the show that there was something that was bothering her today. And what it was, was that we played tone-deaf karaoke, and she was a little out of her game. She wasn't as bubbly and happy as she normally is. She's been upset all morning. She's been upset all morning. When we come back, we're going to play the clip again for you where she says why she was upset, and then, live on the radio, there will be a discussion about it between the two parties, Ashley and the person that has upset her. There'll be a conversation live on the radio.
Live on the radio when we come back. You are listening to The Mikey Show. Indeed you are. Five three. Oh, huge insurance company. Do you have competitive insurance rates for California drivers? Well. No. We're AIS, the auto insurance specialist. As independent auto insurance advocates, we shop dozens of carriers to give Californians the best combination of price and coverage, saving them on average $600 a year. Have your customers call 1-800-777-4AIS. Call 1-800-777-4AIS. Hey, it's Mikey. Call AIS, 1-800-777-4AIS. That's 800-777-4247. Honey, I'm back. Hi, baby. Who was all here drinking beer while I was at my mom's? Nobody was here drinking beer. Oh, come on. Tell the truth. I saw the beer cans in the trash out front. Beer cans? Where? Show me. What do you call these? Those are cans of Tecate Light. That's not beer. That's cerveza. Oh, come on. Beer, cerveza. It's the same thing. No, no, no. Beer and cerveza is not the same thing. Of course it is. Is it the same thing if I say te quiero or I love you? No, it's not the same. You see, just like amar, querer is not the same. Beer and cerveza is not the same either. I know what you mean. Te quiero. Tecate Light. Mexico's number one cerveza light.
It's not beer. It's cerveza. Enjoy the cat delight responsibly 2007. Cervezas Mexicanas, White Plains, New York. All right, class, let's give Ronald our full attention for show and tell. This is a carton of real California milk, which only comes from California's local dairies. So? Everyone has milk. You're so lame, Ronald. This is real California milk. See right here? That's the real California milk seal. That seal certifies it's 100% grade A milk that only... It only comes from California's dairies. What does certify mean? It means it rules. The seal also means my mom made sure to buy milk. Now here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. Mudfish are an elongated, slender-bodied group of fish with broad heads and small eyes. Just because your mom doesn't look for the real California milk seal doesn't necessarily mean she loves you any less. But on second thought, that's probably exactly what it means, Brenda. Up to 20% of the milk in California grocery stores is trucked in from out of state.
So support your local dairy farmers and look for the Real California Milk Seal to make sure you're getting certified, locally produced Real California Milk. That's what I'm talking about. Oh, yeah. Start the morning off right. That's right. KIOC San Diego's Rock 105.3.
Now, here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. Mudfish are an elongated, slender-bodied group of fish with blunt heads and small eyes. Some people, perhaps because of how it is perceived or the smell of it, stay away from it. It tastes different than it smells. Oh, thank God. Well, it smells horrendous. Sky, no. What's up? Are you ready? I'm not ready, but I'm going to. Big bike is just being taped. Look at his hands. They're shaking. Look at them. Oh, dude, he's fully shaking. Hey, what is it? That's scary. What does it taste like? Rob. Uh-oh. Hang on. Hang on. Give me a try. Beef jerky, dude. I just swallowed so much. Beef jerky, bro. You're fine. You're fine. What does it taste like? Beef jerky, Mike. Get it down. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Okay. I'm trying to get it down. Oh, no. Oh, no. Would you ever eat it again? The Mikey Show continues.
I'm on the rock. Well, we just played a clip of some of the stuff that's already happened on the show, which has been weird to say the least already this morning. But you may have also missed another moment that happened. And it was this morning. We were playing a little tone deaf karaoke. It's 9-18 for those of you that are just getting to work or whatever. But we're doing tone-deaf karaoke, okay? Now, we notice that every time we play tone-deaf karaoke, Ashley's excited. She can't wait to play tone-deaf karaoke. She gets so into it. She always says something like, What?
You know how... I don't sound like that. I don't know, guys. I'm confused. You know how when Ash, when we do the ton-deaf karaoke, Ashley will go... I don't really know what you guys sound like that. It's very similar. Yeah. Well, this morning she was and we asked her about it. Why? She hasn't said goodbye. She hasn't said it. Oh, what's up with that? Ash. Oh, wow. I don't... Why? Why? Why? Wow, I'm struggling with revealing this. But I will. Really? Because I didn't know if I should. Yeah. Our program director. Wait, wait, wait. I'm going to pause it just for a second and step back in. I was playing back a clip from earlier in the show, but I'm going to pause it for a second. Shauna, is this the first time you're hearing this? No, I actually... Wait, wait, wait. I'm sorry. Go ahead. I actually heard it this morning. Okay, you did hear it when it happened. Okay, here we go. Here we go. Let's go back to the replay. Yeah? Is not the biggest fan of tone-deaf karaoke.
For some reason. Yeah. And she told Ashley that. And it's gotten in Ashley's head. Oh. Come on. Come on. Is that true, Ash? It is true. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Are you talking about from the meeting? No. She separately had a conversation with Ashley. It was in the meeting. Because it was in the meeting. Because she, like, was really stressing that, you know, this point. And I kind of made a joke. Like, but you love tone deaf, right? And then she made, like, this face, like this sour face. And I was like, and she goes, she goes, mmm. Now, for those of you that don't know what Tondeaf Karaoke is, Tondeaf Karaoke is where we play clips of Ashley singing, and people have to try to guess what it is that she's singing. Not everybody is going to be a fan of tomato soup. Some people are, some people aren't. Now, if you think of the Mikey show as a restaurant, a lot of people really love our restaurant. They come to our restaurant every morning. Shauna, our program director, she comes to our restaurant every single morning.
Well, one of the most popular items on the menu, we put it out once a week for people to order, is Tone Deaf Karaoke. But it's not really Shauna's flavor. She likes the other stuff on the menu. She likes the other stuff on the menu a lot better. In fact, she's even told us her favorite thing on the menu is when we're talking about stuff in the news. It's the thing she looks forward to. She likes that the most. I said, really? I said, well, what do you like the least? And she said, I'm not really a fan of the games. It's just her style. It's how she is. Yeah, everyone's different. Now, Ashley feels that particularly out of the games, she doesn't like this tone deaf karaoke. So much so that Ashley was having a hard time getting into it today. So, Sean is in the studio now. And Ashley is in her studio. And they can't even see each other because... Ashley is looking directly at me through glass, but so is Shauna in this studio. So Shauna's back is to Ashley. They can't actually see one another. But, you know, what's the deal, Shauna? Just not quite your flavor? Yeah, you pretty much hit the nail right on the head. And, you know, I want to... Oh, whoa. Oh, my goodness. I'm choked up about it. Very emotional.
It sounds like Ashley. Don't cry, Sean. Don't. I know you're pregnant. I really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Okay. Pile on. No, I honestly, in that meeting, I really didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, but Ashley looked right at me and was like, you hate tone deaf karaoke, don't you? And I'm like, oh yeah, pretty much. You know, if it wasn't asked of me, I wasn't going to give Give my opinion. Hey, I got to tell you one thing I know about Shauna because I've known Shauna for over 10 years. And one thing I know about her really well because I worked with her before she was our program director. And one thing that I will tell you about Shauna is she doesn't lie or BS. It doesn't matter what the situation is. Like if you're a gal and you are her girlfriend and you say to her, do you think that this outfit makes my butt look fat? she will not lie to you. She may be nice maybe in the way that she tells you, but she's going to tell you her opinion. She's going to tell you what she thinks. She's going to tell you the truth. Tough love it is. Tough love. Which I love. I prefer that. So apparently what happened, Ash, she told you the truth and it really bothered you. It didn't really bother me because everyone has a right to their own opinion and that's totally cool. But it got in my head.
that's all it did and see i didn't mean to do that but right after that right after that she asked me if i liked ashley pyramid and my answer to that ash was yep she said she loves it i love that so yeah and i don't think shauna did anything wrong like i'm glad she told me the truth it was me who asked like she might honestly and i didn't even realize it until you know it happened but it got in my head and i don't know why i don't think shauna's really listening No, I'm listening. Are you sure? Are you sure you heard the neckline? Yeah. I actually like Ashley's version better. So, Ashley, how are we going to get you out of that funk the next time we play the Ashley, the tone-deaf karaoke? How do we get you out of that funk? I mean, I feel like every time we play it, you're going to think, wow, my program director is really hating this right now. I don't know. Like, she said she thinks it should be rested, and so now that's in my head.
She wants it to be rested for like seven months. No, it's in my head that she wants it to be rested. So I'm like, God, you know, maybe it should. We've been doing it every week forever. I have an idea. What's your idea, Mike? I can't hear you. Maybe people are sick of it. She's still talking. I wonder what Mike's idea is. She won't let me. Well, my idea is that maybe the reason that Shauna, and this is true for a lot of people for a lot of different things. Maybe the reason that Shauna... doesn't necessarily like the bit is she's never played it before oh so shauna what if we had you play tone deaf karaoke right now and we make you a deal you know if you don't like it then uh we'll rest it for four days so you mean regular rotation and if you like it then we'll do it again next week okay i'll do it You just have to tell me the title or the artist of this song in order for you to win. Are you ready? Yep. Here we go. How do you not love that? Yes. Killer artist. No idea. Oh, it's so easy. I know what it is. No idea on that one. Cool summer. Banana Rama. Okay. I used to work at Star, though, so...
Try another one. Okay. Hey, I'm sitting right here. Sorry. What? Tough love with Shauna. Go on. Tough love it is. Tough love. Here we go. Foo Fighters all my life. I want to see your face. Oh, yeah. Send it aside at the end of the dope. Wait, no. I don't think that's the word. Well said. I like when we play the clips and you look at Ashley and she's got a look on her face like, yeah, you know what? Kill that. You don't like that, huh? What do you think about that? Change your mind. Hey, preggers. Deal with that. That's how you do that. Yeah, that is how you do that. Okay, I'm going to do one more with you. One more and that's it. Beat her down. You ready? Wow.
Madonna. I actually take it back. I am having fun. I have a new game. Maybe it's a way to mix up Tone Deaf Karaoke. Maybe what we do with Tone Deaf Karaoke is we have her do real easy ones and we have people on the phone. We get two people on the phone. The first one that knows they say their name. How about that? It's easy. Lucky Star is easy. You get the big gigantoid hits like that and you play it and the first person that knows it yells out their name. Eddie, you'd be good at it. I love this game. I mean, the only thing is, is that you got to know those songs. But, and it's a lot tougher when, like, for instance. Oh, yeah. Eddie, you would have already said it, right? Yeah.
That's a great game. I wouldn't have got that. What is the matter with you? I'm just being honest. I wouldn't have got it. I don't want to know you anymore. I can't believe you wouldn't have got that. You're fired. What do you got? What's going on, Rob? No, they're just some P1s calling with suggestions. Oh, oh, oh. P1, Ian, are you there? Yeah. Ian, go ahead. Go ahead. I just want to say Tone Deaf Karaoke is the bomb. Sean doesn't like it. She's crazy. I plan my breaks around Tone Deaf Karaoke anytime I can. Nice. That's awesome. That's got to make you feel better, right, Ash? Yeah, I appreciate that. Thank you. Thank you. P1, Tuna. Hey, what's going on, Mikey? Tuna. What's going on? Tuna.
Do you think right now would be a good time for Ashley and Shauna to play I Don't Like It When? Oh, bad idea. That's a bad idea. Oh, yeah. It wouldn't work. Ashley doesn't have anything she doesn't like about Shauna. Yep. So it would just be one person talking for 45 minutes. For 45 minutes? Well, we have to keep it short. Rude. P1 Hitman? Hey, guys. If Shauna doesn't like Deftone Karaoke, I think we should bring back with Shauna at work yet. Yeah, see, it's like a threat. She's literally just getting here. I'm not kidding. That is true. I'm not kidding. This is pathetic. Shauna, you stay. And talk about trying to manipulate. Get the theme up there, just so he can play, because I want to see what she thinks, just hearing that theme again. Talk about trying to manipulate, trying to get that game taken out. Every day she would come in and be like, dude, people don't like that game. Nobody likes it. It's boring. Serious conversations in her office. In all seriousness, guys. It's kind of old. Now it's time to play. It's been so long since we played it. Didn't I build up to it? Is that how he did it? He's like, no!
At the end of it, right? At the end of it. Now it's time to play Is Shauna at Work Yet? Oh, memories. Shauna is a boss. Sauna is a boss. Sauna is a boss. Sauna is a boss. Sauna is a boss. The host of the show is a freak show. Eddie. I shower at night and I do my hair at night. Gross.
Sean. Well, you know what? I'm a nonconformist. Boston Rob. Nothing in my life can go. Nothing in my life. Ashley. Food with you. The Mikey Show's on. I hear you. 5-3. I'm John Cougar Millican. Oh, how dare you? What? Is that not right? Is that not right? Very different. Dang it. Welcome back. It's 940. The dad of a guy killed in Iraq was just awarded a $10.9 million verdict against a Kansas church that picketed at his son's funeral. Lakers are finding it hard to trade Kobe. Trades are falling through all over the place. We've got some pretty scandalous stuff to tell you about, man. There's some pretty scandalous stuff out there. I'm going to do the dog to bounty hunter stuff. We've got to do it again for people that didn't get to hear it, so we'll do that in just a second. This Mario Lopez thing. Dude.
Oh, my gosh. Yuck. Mario Lopez was asked by a charity to do some stuff. And he says, yeah. He says, yeah, sure. And then on the day of the event, he calls him and he says, I can't do it. The wildfires in San Diego are going on. My family lives in San Diego. Well, it was in San Diego. It was in Chula Vista. The event was for domestic violence victims and their children in Chula Vista. where you know him and his family are from yeah so this past weekend i mean granted yeah the wildfires were still i mean but it wasn't the thing of it i'm really gonna have to think about what i think of this story now why well because it went from bad to yeah still bad but for some reason in my mind not as bad still bad not as bad let's tell this whole story okay i don't know maybe as i talk through it i'll go no it's still really bad okay so
He says, yes, I'll do this charity event. They print out the invitation saying that he will be attending. His name is really big on the charity invitation, everything. So he doesn't show up. And he says, I can't because my family's been evacuated. I have to help my family. And just like any charity, I'm sure they were like, oh, please, family comes first. Don't worry about it. It's all good. But guess where he was that very night? At the Playboy Mansion. Yeah, their Halloween party. Well, maybe that's where he was evacuated to. To Heff's Place? Yeah. Maybe Heff's Place was being used as an evacuation center. Yeah. The Rock Church and the Playboy Mansion. It could have happened. Oh, dude. Your thoughts? Well, see, I think it's that I'm sort of dealing with the paradigm switch in my head.
see in my head i thought it was like a local charity in los angeles and i i don't know i don't know this is a hometown charity for him to me it's worse yeah maybe it is well and see like here's what made it like not so worse for me is like it doesn't matter what the charity is it shouldn't be going on during the wildfires like all bets are off but it wasn't it was last weekend i mean it wasn't It wasn't during the midst of the fires. By Saturday, they had it under control. Yeah, we played a Charger game. Yeah, we had a Charger game. Yeah, and I didn't know that either. Yeah, it was Saturday, the 27th, this last Saturday. It's pretty bad. It's totally bad. And what is this tool thing? that there's not gonna be cameras at the playboy mansion that he's not gonna be all over the tmz no i think that what he thought was that it's not gonna be like time stamped and people aren't gonna make the connection from the charity or they may not get out of this local charity thing yeah like loads of the people that plan the local charity
are probably not going to put the two together and know that it was that night and know that that's what he was doing. And then to use the fire as an excuse is horrendous because there's lots of people who legitimately had issues. His family maybe was displaced. That could have happened. For like, you know, what? For a day? I'm not Mario Lopez. Don't get on me. I ain't AC Slater. How dare you? Slater, we're so bummed out. What does Lisa Turtle think? Hey, how do we not have the theme song to Saved by the Bell? That's the theme song we need. Sean, you got it. Get on that, Sean. Get on it. I'm on it. It's all over it. It's all right because I'm Saved by the Bell. How does it? That's the only part I remember. Do you remember anything? When you wake up in the morning and I'm feeling kind of horny and I know I got it. No, no, wait. What? Horny? It doesn't say Ashley. It doesn't say horny, Ashley. Ashley, for the record. I've seen every episode of that. Just listen. Just wanted to let you know for the record that it doesn't say when you wake up kind of horny. Really some hard rocking and rolling there. Ashley was close though. It's not when I wake up kind of horny. It doesn't say that. It's when the alarm gives off a warning. Better try it again. What?
Go ahead, try it again. Ashley, you said it again. Ashley, you said it again. Ashley, you said it again. Can you hear me? Ashley, can you hear me? It doesn't go that way. It doesn't go that way. You know that? No, we just played it. The subject is Butterfinger. And the email says, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. With an exclamation point. Skye's Butterfinger reading made my morning. That was just money. He wants Snickers. Butterfingers are good. You can all shove it. Whatever. I don't even know if I can trust that you just said that. How do I know that there's not razor blades in the Butterfingers you're handing out? I can't trust you.
Can't trust you, man. Slippery slope. Yeah, you slippery. That's what it said. That's right. Evasiveness, lady. Like, did you give out a motherfucker? I don't know. Can you really trust him? The don't tase me, bro guy is all over the news again. Don't tase me, bro. Don't tase me, bro. Like, he's so cool when he says it, you know? Don't tase me, bro. Don't tase me, bro. I like that he threw in the bro. That's what makes it the best. That's the money. Well, you know, it's a dude. You know, it ain't no chick cop. And he could have been mad about it. Like, don't tase me, jerk. But no, he's trying to be cool about it. He's cool. Bro. So what's the latest, Sky? Well, first of all, I have to say it's funny because that's how the media references him. Like, the headline is, Sorry Helps Don't Tase Me Bro Guy. How else would we know him? Seriously.
But no, but you know, I found it funny that that's how like the hard news is referring to him as the don't tase me bro guy. You know that this guy, where's he go to school? Florida or something? It happened at the, yeah, University of Florida. He is a student there. You know that this guy is the single most popular guy at that school. If he hasn't made shirts with don't tase me bro on it, he's an idiot. Yeah. Like me and Rob patent pending are going to make those. And. You know that this guy, he goes into parties on campus, and he walks in, and people put their red plastic cups up in the air, and they go, don't tase me, bro! Don't tase me, bro! And he's wearing rock star sunglasses, and he just nods, does the guy nod to him. Like, yeah, what's up? It's me. Yeah, yeah, it's me. Carries a Sharpie in his wallet, because he thinks that looks cool. weird so yeah if you never heard this story this guy uh john carrey was speaking at a school university of florida he gets up to ask a question he won't stop talking they ask him to stop talking he keeps going so finally he gets combative with police they tase him and that's when he screams that out it was all caught on video all over the internet so the latest on it is they said this week that no criminal charges will be filed against him because he wrote apology notes to like everybody to the school to the president to the campus police department i'm sorry
So being sorry helps the Don't Tase Me Bro guy. What? As you're reading this, I'm reading an I Am conversation between Eddie and Boston Rob. Oh, no. What does it say? Scroll up. Okay. It starts with Eddie saying, Dude, I'm not kidding. Don't Tase Me Bro shirts. Patent pending. Rob writes back, They're already out. Sucks. And he goes, really? I want one. Christmas. And Rob says, yeah, I was trying to be on it. I was talking about the t-shirts. Oh, the t-shirts and making them. The two of these guys conspiring to get those Taze Me Bro shirts out there. I thought we had a killer idea. Dang it. So, he was on TV this morning. What was he on?
Talking about that stuff? Yeah, just talking about how no charges will be filed against him and how he really is sorry and he's apologized to everybody. Learned his lesson. Here's Jonathan Papelbon on winning the World Series on The Late Show with David Letterman. Cut 15. From the moment the out is recorded to tonight, what has the celebration been like? I know you had a parade in Boston. Yeah, well, we had a parade. Not much sleep. A lot of partying. A lot of drinking. A lot of dancing. A lot of dancing, you know. We had a parade, which the entire city of Boston came out to. So, you know, and then, you know, other than not sleeping, you know, partying. He's a weird guy. He sounded like your typical 20-some-year-old to me. He's a strange guy, man. What's up with him? I don't know. He's always weirded me out for some reason. Now, not in that clip, though, right? No, no, no. Why? What's he normally like? He's just kind of strange. Whenever I see him interviewed, he's kind of creepy a little bit. And then he does those dances, which are so dorky. Awesome. I love it. He does like an Irish jig. Oh, yeah. I did see that. And it is weird. Really weird. It's in his underwear. He's right.
Eddie's right. I saw him doing it on the field. Yeah. The Irish chick thing. And I thought to myself, he's got to know people are going to see that. Why would he do that? That looks really... It's dorky. No way, dude. Oh, come on, Rob. No way. You think that looked cool? You know what even made it cooler to me? I found on YouTube, someone sent it to me, that they did... You know that Soulja Boy cranked that song that Ashley always does that ridiculous dance to? Yeah. They did a remix with taking clips of him dancing to it to the song. And it is genius. Oh, that does make it cooler. Oh, heck yeah, dude. Except that that's not the way that he dances to it. No. It just shows that it's a versatile... Now you got a picture of the Irish jig. A little ribbon dance. Nah, it's not working for me. Oh, dude. I'll email to you. Okay. Awesome. I'll pass. Awesome. Okay. Send it to Marky at KIOZ.com. But you can. Yeah, you can definitely. When we come back.
Dog the Bounty Hunter. Dog the Bounty Hunter was angry at his son because his son is dating a black girl. And basically what he's upset about is Dog the Bounty Hunter uses the N-word on a regular basis and he's telling his son, we use that word and I don't want you dating some girl that can find out that we use that word and take it to the Enquirer or something. And it's a taped Phone conversation slash voicemail. I think what it is is a voicemail. And we have the audio of it. In 20 years of radio, it's one of the craziest pieces of audio I've ever heard and or played, and it's next. Mikey, Mikey. You are listening to The Mikey Show on Rock 105.3. I just picked up my new Nissan Altima from Mossy Nissan, and the girls and I decided it was time for a little road trip. Vegas, here we come.
We're cruising the strip ride, windows down, base pumping. And as we roll up to the light, I look to my left and see what had to be the hottest guy in Vegas. So I give my Altima's powerful engine a little rev. Best to let him know I'm there. And he turns his head my way, smiles, and says, Hey ladies, why don't you pull over and hop in my ride? Hop in his ride? Yeah, I don't think so. Nobody tells an Altima girl to get out of the driver's seat. Step out of the ordinary with the new Altima. P1 Allen, you went into sleep train in San Marcos. I sure did, Mikey. Went in there. We were going to get the Queen. Told them I was the P1. They upgraded us to the California King. and took $1,200 off the price. That's pretty amazing. Yeah, it was nice. And they gave us the pillows, mattress cover, sheets, everything for free, free delivery, all of that just because I said I was a P1. There are certain things in my life that I considered no-brainers. You know, at the time that I married my wife, I knew that one was a no-brainer. Nobody's going to put up with the stuff she puts up with and is still real cool about it like her.
But there's also things like when I talk about AIS and when I talk about Sleep Train, these are no-brainers in life. If you're doing anything other than Sleep Train or AIS, it's not the best decision you could be making. Sleep Train is the best decision you could be making if you need a mattress. Thanks, dude. Okay, wait a minute. So last year, we went to this place in Guadalajara. It was this random little place off the beaten path. We went to a place around there, too. Yeah, and they had taquitos just like these. Full of flavor, good texture. What are these, Delimax? Yeah, the place we went had taquitos like these, too. Wait. Did this place have a really big fish tank in the middle? Yeah, and the tortillas were pressed and grilled right on the spot. You know, these DeliMex taquitos taste a lot like that. Right. Oh, they were stuffed with this really tender shredded beef, just like these DeliMex. Remember the mariachi band? Oh, my God. DeliMex's authentic taquitos are made with thick shreds of lean beef, juicy white meat chicken, rich cheese, and stone-ground freshly baked tortillas. DeliMex.

I don't. You don't? No. I don't like three of anything. Three little pigs, three-legged races, or even three cents back on debit card purchases. Really? No. I just have a contrarian streak. I like to disagree. Oh, so then you do like that you get three cents back on debit card purchases with a WAMU free checking account. Hmm. Personally, I think it's genius. It's shminious. Shminious? Yes, the opposite of genius. You'd rather be charged three cents for every debit card purchase? That makes no sense. You're forgetting. I'm a... Contrarian, yeah. No, I'm not. To learn more, stop by a WAMU near you or WAMU.com and find out why WAMU is recently ranked highest in customer satisfaction in retail banking in the West Pacific region by J.D. Power & Associates. Don't stop. That's what I say. Wow. We've got to take a picture of that. Please? That's amazing. I've never seen something like that. It's like, I'm sending that to National Geographic. Why? Because it's rare. That's unbelievable.
You're more rare. Oh, look at that. Turn the lights on. Oh, my God. It's all the way past your sleeve. Take a picture with my camera phone. Do you want to know? No, no, no. Take a picture with the camera. Come here, Ash. Do you want to know the part that's crappiest about this, though? Can I say it really quick? Ash, come stand right here. Put your arms up. Put your arms up in the air. Her pits today, I can't even describe how bad they are. Why doesn't she go to the doctor? And this guy in the studio that won the opportunity to come in, Chris, he's been asking her out non-stop since she's been here. And he doesn't kiss. Why? Now he's going to play cool. Come on, it hasn't been non-stop. It hasn't been non-stop. Let me put up my radio voice. It hasn't been non-stop. Stupid. Yes, Ashley, yes. I hate people that come in. Go ahead, Ashley.
I just would like to say for the record that... Wait, wait, wait. Like, the needle barely moves when you talk directly into the microphone. Uh-huh. But... But when Skye is on the microphone, I have to turn the microphone way down. Okay. That wasn't into the mic, ladies and gentlemen. That was not anywhere near a microphone and you heard it. Maybe that's the secret. She doesn't need a mic. Well, let's have a broadcast from outside. Well, she was down with Jeff and Jer just now. That's where she was. What? That seems to be the problem. No, what? That's your quiet voice. I'm talking in my restaurant voice. This is my library voice. Oh, wow, it hurts. It's piercing. Would you like to hear my Qualcomm voice? Brutal. Eddie, that brutal was a little overdone. Well, it was, Mike. You really emphasized that. I mean, it was. Go ahead, Ashley.
Ashley, wait a second. Hang on. I'm looking at those pits right now. Ash, don't. Come on. I'm trying to talk to you about this. You can smell my armpit. Your armpits. What? Can I explain? It's garbage. Chris, it doesn't bother you? It doesn't bother you that her pits are sweating in this way? Not at all. He's a liar. He's not lying. He's asked her out a million times this morning. Well, it's not really a million. No, actually not a million. Well, come on. Give me a break. Hold on. Let me warm my voice. Let me pipe on you. Go ahead, Ashley. I just would like to... Sean. He's listening. Please, Sean. Go ahead, Ashley. I mean, I just would like to say... You don't even know him. You're not even here. What's the problem? You can't say that. He's a cool guy. He's a great guy. Go ahead, Ash. I just would like to say...
He's trying to interrupt you. That's what he's doing. I can't hear him. He knows it'll make you crazy if he gets into your airtime is what Sean did. That is true. Ashley's going to put headphones on. Helps her think anyway. Leave Chris alone, Sean. Anyway, Ash, go ahead. I mean... I just want to say that last night... Not only did I put on Certain Dry, which I put on the previous night. Certain Dry. And it did not work. What's it called? Certain Dry? Certain Dry. Several P1s have recommended this to me. And Missy actually gave it to me as a birthday present a year ago. And I was too, like, lazy or didn't really care. And I just have had it always in my cabinet. So, finally, I was like, I guess I should. Because this is really becoming, like, a problem. Oh, my God. So, I used it two nights ago. That's what he tried to tell you. Shut up, Sean.
I'd used it a couple nights ago. It didn't do crap. So then last night, I went to Walmart. I freaking got the clinically proven secret, you know, preventative sweat deodorant. It was like eight bucks, okay? And not only did I put that on, but it was air and dry this morning. And it's worse than her. That's true. Wait, you put it on last night? You didn't put it on this morning? No, you're supposed to put them on during bedtime. You put on, you know... And then you let it sleep because it soaks into the pores and makes it so you don't sweat. And I put on both. Now, wait a minute. Hang on a second. It's like it counteracted against each other. Hang on a second. I know that on the freeway, when they have spills, they put sawdust. No, no, no, no, no. You think I'm being sensational, but I'm saying I'm not being sensational. I'm saying sawdust is very absorbent. When it's ground up into a powder, it's very fine. Well, I know when kids throw up at school, they put the sawdust on it to clean up. Now, I know it seems a little extreme, but if she were to just keep a little bowl of it. But if sawdust? You know, Ash, if you were to keep a little bowl of sawdust at the sink, you could put on the stay dry. Yeah. And then you could powder. No, no, no. Don't be like that. He's serious. It may work. It may work. She's checking out. She's checking out. That's a really good idea.
You could put the deodorant on, and then you could just pat on some of the sawdust. I know that when we were working on plows in my dad's garage, there was an oil spill. Another thing we could use was just sand. Sand. Because that's very absorbent, too. It's extraordinarily absorbent. I know it sounds extreme, but I'm just saying, if you were to put... No, it sounds ridiculous, actually. We could start a line of deodorant, patent bending, called Workshop. It'll smell like sawdust. It'll become a thing. It'll be made out of sawdust. It'll be like the hip thing. Maybe you could just put a couple of 2x4s under your arms. See, that's sensational. Why was that sensational? See, I've said this and people thought, oh, well, that's obviously ridiculous. However, the type of shirt she's wearing this morning, she could not do this. But if she were to wear something that was longer that covered it up, She could put maxi pads under her arms. No. Hang on. Before you laugh about it. I'm not kidding. He's laughing. I'm laughing. Okay, fine. I want to hear it. Okay, fine. If it's going to be like that, then fine. I won't. You know me. I'm some kind of. You want me on this? I don't know. You should really think about it. Go ahead. You could split an adult diaper and put half under it. Well, it depends. Dry as a bone.
Anyway. Talk to me, Chris. Chris was interested in taking Ashley out on a romantic date. Romantic? Well, it may not be romantic. I never said romantic. I never said anything about romantic. You know, I don't know. I'm very high in demand. I don't know. We'll see. Very high in demand. Now I'm getting in the mood. Take her to the water park. She's already wet. You'll never know. Let me ask you. So Chris, you have asked Ashley out on a romantic date, yet you've seen the underarms, you've seen the pits, the sweat pits. And talk to me about, you know, what are your feelings on it? Oh, she's an awesome girl and she's gorgeous. I'll answer that. He asked a question. He said, why wouldn't I go out with her? I think it wasn't rhetorical. It was rhetorical. He said, she's an awesome girl and she's gorgeous. Why wouldn't I want to? And all I was going to say is, yes, she is an awesome girl. She is gorgeous. She has got these pits of sweat right now. And that was the thing. It's like an ocean. It's like a slip and slide under her arms.
So your thoughts, Chris, are, you know what, I don't care about it. I don't. I tend to date marathon runners. Most of the women I date are triathletes. Yeah, so I'm used to the sweat. It's not a big deal. I thought that our first date would be kickboxing. Or yoga. A quick game of dodgeball. In August. Yeah. Indoors. No air conditioning. Right. In Somali. Well, listen. Ashley has stated a million times it does not affect her personal life. Clearly, she's right. Yeah, it doesn't. It doesn't affect her personal life. She gets the fellas saying, listen, I don't care about the pits. You're gorgeous. You're fun. I'll deal with the pits. It's past her shirt. Shut up. It's just shocking. I will say this, though. Ash is being very coy with him. She's playing hard to get. What? She's playing hard to get. She's playing hard to get with him. He's a nice-looking young man. What are you talking about? He's a good-looking young man. I'm not playing hard to get. You are. You won't say yes to him. I'm sitting right next to him. But you won't say yes to him. He's asked you out nine times this morning. No, he sent me a note. He hasn't asked me out a hundred times. He sent you a note? He sent me a note via Carrier Pigeon, a.k.a. Zeth. Can I see the note? It was a note that said, would you like to... Oh, let me see. Okay.
You can read it. So he wrote this, and he sent this to... Through Carrier Pigeon, a.k.a. Zed. Okay, and it says... It says, you, me, Joe Rogan, tomorrow. And there are three boxes that can be checked. Yes, no, or maybe. Right. Ashley checked... Damn, that is a money move. Right? Ashley checked... Because I'm in the other room, so see, it had, you know, message in a bottle, practically. Ashley checked maybe. Romantic. Oh, so coy. So I checked maybe because I already have plans tomorrow night. Me and my friends, we do this like sex in the city dinner every Friday night with the four of us. Because there's four of us and we really feel like we're like sex in the city. How much would you want to be a fly on the wall at that dinner? That's four of us. And like we all hang out. Which one are you? Me and the three girls. Who are they? Who are they? Who are the girls? Who are they? The names. I want to know her character. I want to know names. The three girls, these are like my only three friends. They really are. Two more than Sky. That's really mean. I showed you a picture of Sarah yesterday, so shut it. But it's my three girls, Megan, Jessa, and Kaylee. And the four of us all hang out, and those are my only three friends, and we all hang out. Who are you? Oh, who am I in the sex in the scene? The closest person I would be would be Carrie, but I would say that...
Yeah, I would say that probably Carrie. I don't know what you're talking about. We kind of all just for, just, you know. You've lost me. It's our own version type of thing. And every Friday night we go to dinner. So I don't know I'd have to see. Because I do want to go see Joe Rogan. I think his comedy is brilliant. Oh, that's nice. And you do want to spend time with Chris. And I do. Get to know him better, right? That's what you said. I wouldn't go that far. I wouldn't go that far. I just, I mean. We're talking free tickets here, right? You're smart. I mean, you know how. I get nervous with this kind of stuff. And you know how I don't like to spend money on gas. Once she gets nervous, she's that sweating. Oh, no! Rob, she was cool with everybody saying that. He put his arm around her. He put his arm around her and said to say, it doesn't matter, Ash. I don't care. She didn't put his arm around him. He's not wearing a wetsuit. Take that shot. No! That is uncalled for. Take that shot. You can't pull that card. I don't get it. I don't get it. Take that shot. I'll tell you what. She'll take a couple and then she just slaps them around. It's like jugular. I think he's... You just have to work some stuff out with your sex in the city friends. So is it a definite maybe? It's a definite. Well, I don't know what that means. See, Chris, can I give you some advice as her friend? Don't listen to him.
Okay. Okay. You know what? Forget it. Forget it. I'm not going to give my advice. She said, don't listen to him. I will not give my advice. Oh. But he said, but he said, you're so bad that you won't give my advice. But he said, nope. Oh, my God. I want to know now. Why is she so meeky? Oh, my God. It was going to be so nice. Oh, was it? Nobody gets to hear it now. Oh, no. Ever. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. My advice is run as fast as you can. I couldn't agree more. No, it is not. It is tough love. Like he was going to be real and nice. No, listen. It wasn't that I was going to be nice. It wasn't that I was going to be nice. But listen, Chris, here's the truth. The truth is, I think that if you really want to have a good chance with her, putting her in an uncomfortable situation is not the best way. And she will be uncomfortable. But I have.
to say that this guy has asked me out before when we did the volleyball challenge. Really? He was there and he played Tone Deaf live. He's a big fan of Tone Deaf. Remember he had the arm cast? Out at the thing? That's right. He asked me out that day but I didn't think he was serious. Sean, why do you hate him so much? I don't like him at all. Sean! I actually want to go out with him. Okay, well, then there you go. Statement. I honestly, I thought that your deal was that you were kind of uncomfortable, you know, like in let's pick me up, let's go together to this Joe Rogan thing. Right. And you're right. And normally I totally am. But I want to see Joe Rogan for free. No. Duh. Terrible. So you're down with doing the Joe Rogan thing. Yeah. And I'm actually down with just like hanging out with him. And I think it's cute how he asked me. I think he's been really cool with me all morning. I think that the way that he asked me and what he asked me to is rad. Like I'm not disappointed with everything. And I think he's fine. Okay. So, you know. I'm sorry. I said I think he's fine. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
What just happened in the room? You know what I'm saying, Eddie? You know what I'm saying, Eddie? No, I don't, and I don't want to know. Are you picking up what I'm putting down, Eddie? No. So, you know, I'm not against it. I want to wrestle you so freaking bad. If I checked maybe. Just check with the Sex and the City girls, all right? Yep. Get back to them. Yeah, I will. You get my digits. Are you on birth control, or are you sticking with confidence? Sean. Wow. You can get my digits after the show. Oh, my God. I might want to cut you a little. Sean! Come on, Sean, Sean. Oh, uh-oh. All right. That was not a good idea. Okay, can I go back to my speaker? You see what I mean? That's the first time he said anything, though, Sean. Yeah, and what did he do? Piped off like a tool. No, well, don't, Sean. Sit down. He is sitting down. Sean, stop it. Sit down lower. What? That's weird. That doesn't make sense. We're KIOZ San Diego, by the way. Oh, yeah. We did not say that when we came back. We are KIOZ San Diego. KIO! KIO!
Dog the Bounty Hunter. We got to play this because we haven't played it since earlier this morning. Sweet man. Dog the Bounty Hunter. He's got a son. The son is in his 20s. The son... Do I have to explain who Dog the Bounty Hunter is? No. I don't think so. People know who Dog the Bounty Hunter is. He's a bounty hunter on TV. He's very popular. Most people know him. If you don't know who he is... Google it. Yeah, Google it. You don't know very much about pop culture and that's okay, but that's who he is. Well, Dog the Bounty Hunter has a son in his 20s and the son is apparently dating an African-American girl. And Dog doesn't like it. He's been dating this girl for seven months. Dog has been telling the kid, break up with her for the last seven months. And the son isn't doing it. Well, the son has clearly decided the relationship between father and son is over because he's released this voicemail to the public. We're all hearing it now. This is Dog the Bounty Hunter's message to his son. Cut six.
I'm not taking a chance on some mother****er. I don't care if she's a Mexican or whatever. We got to break it down this time. Because what do we make of I don't care if she's a Mexican, a whore, or whatever. Or whatever. Yeah. Because Mexicans and whores are sort of along the same line. They're in the same category of people. Yeah. Okay. Kind of hard to understand that one. I'm trying to follow. I can't. Yeah. It's called racism, Mike. Oh, is that what it is? Well, that's the way I interpret it. Unpause. We use the word ****. Like I said, it's one of the crazier pieces of audio ever. And Sky says they've already stopped production on the show over at A&E. And although they haven't said it, I cannot imagine that they're going to allow any more.
episodes of this to air this has got to build and build and build and this is going to become this huge thing and you're 100 right i mean that's the end like his biggest fear came true yeah because it is the end of his career yeah what he's saying on the tape that he's afraid of is basically what will happen and his son you know we had a harvey lovin from tmz on earlier and i said to harvey i said I have to imagine that this is something that's been brewing for a while. Well, I got an email from a P1 giving kind of the back story a little bit. I don't know if it's true or not. Because I don't necessarily watch the show and I don't go to dogtheboundyhunter.com or whatever. You're not a dog blogger? I'm not a dog blogger. So the deal is, it's not the son that is on the show that has the ponytail. Oh, it's not? It's not that one. He has another son that apparently was in jail. And when he went to jail, he wanted Dog to post bond for him. And Dog said no. He wouldn't do that. And so I guess there is animosity between the two. But again, I don't know if that's true. That's just what this P1 said to me. I don't know. Maybe it is. 570-1053 is our phone number. You can call about anything you want at the beginning and end of every show because we've got to get out of here. Prison break guy.
He's the guy that was drunk driving, and he had a 17-year-old kid that got killed while he was in the car with him. Some other people got injured, but a 17-year-old boy that was in the car with a prison break guy died, and they gave him his jail time. What'd he get? They sentenced Lane Garrison to three years and four months in prison. Oh, my gosh. Isn't it ironic that now he's in prison? Right. Now he's actually going to have to try and break out. Right. Is he going to tattoo his body? He should if he's smart. Weird. Figure it out. But yeah, he had coke and booze in his system when the accident happened. Let's see. The very famous gay guys just announced that he used to be married. Hi. Hi. Who is it? Lance Bass? Yep. Said he used to be married. Yeah. For real? I thought you were joking. No, he said back in the year 2000, he married his girlfriend at the time in Vegas. He said sometimes you're in the heat of the moment and you do stupid stuff and they were married for about five minutes, he said. He is a gay man. So dumb. Yeah, baby, it's gross. Curt Schilling was blogging, talking about different places that he might go. San Diego was one of them. Dog blogger? Yeah, he was on dog blog. Yeah, Curt Schilling, you know, which is really, Curt Schilling's a weird guy.
He loves being in the media. He calls up radio stations in Boston all the time. A radio station I worked at in Boston. He blogs. He's got this whole website. His website is 38pitches.com. Don't know what that means. And he listed a bunch of teams like Cleveland, Detroit, Anaheim, the Mets, and San Diego was on the list. But the weird thing is that... He may re-sign with Boston. He's doing a lot of stuff that makes me go, well, does he just not want to return to the Red Sox? I've always heard that Curt Schilling is a strange guy. Yeah, because to me, he's saying, my first choice is Boston. I want to stay with Boston. But if that is the case, then you shouldn't be blogging and saying, you know what, though? I would go all these different places. Yeah, you don't make a list. You just say, hey, Boston's my place. If it doesn't work out there, then put out your list. Yeah. That's weird. It's just really strange. P1 Skyfan is on the line. Skyfan, are you there? Yes, I'm here. You wanted to try to explain what Dog probably meant. Yeah, I guess in a way I want to defend his position even though I don't agree with his views as far as race. He's obviously racist or he wouldn't use those words. Yes, go ahead, Skyfan. But it doesn't make him...
necessarily wrong to have his own views, just like Skye has her own views that oftentimes the rest of the show doesn't agree with, but that doesn't mean... Yeah, but Skye's views aren't hateful and racist. Yeah. Well, and my thing with... Well, my thing with Dog is if it was that important to him, you can't force your views on somebody else. And he was trying to tell his son, don't be with this chick if you want to, you know, be part of this family. If he felt that strong about it, he shouldn't use that word. If there was so much on the line and he was so concerned about it, then he should censor himself. Yeah, I understand what you're saying, but that's a part of who he is. He is a racist, and I don't know that he can or wants to change that. So he's saying, look, you know I'm racist. Why are you going to date someone who's going to definitely be offended with our family? And if you are, then you can't work here because she's going to get offended, and that could lead to legal trouble. Dude, listen, hey, he has a right to say it. Yeah. Just like everybody in the world has a right to react the way they're going to, and you'll never see Dog again, bro. That's true. And, you know, I'm not necessarily a big fan of the show, not as much as I am a fan of Sky, even though I don't always agree with Sky, but that's what I like about it is that I get to hear a different view that I don't agree with and say, okay, this is where this person's coming from. And I just think, like, at least understand that...
You know, he has a valid right. Yeah, but Skye's views are not hateful and racist. And, like, people are allowed to have views. Yeah. People are allowed to have views. But your views are not supposed to be racist, evil, hateful. They're not supposed to be things that are illegal. You know what I mean? Like, your views are not supposed to be something that we've constitutionally tried to eradicate. Okay. You know what? I see where you're coming from. I think you finally might have reasoned with the crazy person there. Oh, my goodness. I did it. Congratulations, Mike. I did it. I don't ever have to come back to work. Wait. That's not cool. I think I actually get your side. And I also want to throw in my two cents and say Cone Death Cariology is probably one of the best bits I've ever heard. My dad and I were discussing it. And he doesn't think it's real. And I was trying to say it is real. How little does he know? Yeah, we hear it all the time. It's real. Thanks for pulling out there. I love the show. Thank you very much. P1 Casey. Yes. What's up? My son is 11 years old, and last night he went trick-or-treating. We told him it was going to be his last year of getting to go out and go trick-or-treating because he's getting a little too old for it. And he went to the last house on our little block, and this crazy lady came out with a margarita in one hand and starts...
rummaging through her house to bring him something, you know, to put in his bag. She brings him cough drops, a keychain that says, I was put on this earth to make your life miserable, and a toothpick that was still in the plastic wrapper, and a used eraser. A pint of old Harper. Right? And a comb. She went rummaging through her, like, bathroom cabinet to put in his A birth control wheel. Three pills left. They were just the green ones, though. They weren't placebo. I was explaining to him. I was like, well, maybe it was because, you know, it's cold and flu season. Box of Frankenberry. Already opened. Sky has a question. Well, so you told your kid that this is his last year trick-or-treating at age 11? Well, because he's a big kid for 11. I mean, he looks like he's about 13. Fine with that? You're not fine with that, Sky?
And I was like, you're probably not going to get candy coming. Go ahead. Well, no, I just, when I first heard that, I was like, that's kind of horrendous. What's the age? I don't think there is an age. I think if you have the youthful spirit and if you're in the spirit of Halloween and you're dressing up and you're having fun with it, there is no age. Yeah, I'd probably trick-or-treat it at least till 14. Yeah, how come you don't want him to trick-or-treat? It was kind of up to me, too. Yeah. Like with us and with like... um our church and stuff but our neighborhood is all little kids they don't like there's no big kids so i get what sky's saying though sky is saying i get what sky's saying though sky's going hey listen if you have a youthful spirit and you're dressing up and you have the right attitude what's the matter with it oh he just wants the candy that's fine we all do yeah Yeah, all the kids do. Well, that's fine. And if he's just going to go door to door without a costume and just go, give me candy, then that's wrong. But if he's going to actually... Can I talk, please? This was the last year. He's like, I'm not dressing up next year. He's like, this is the last year I'm going to dress up. I'm like, well, then this is the last year you're going to trick or treat. Oh, okay. Well, that's different. That's different. Yeah, if he's not going to dress up, he shouldn't be able to. No. Okay, I get you.
Have fun with the toothpick. I'm picking up what you're putting down. All right, thank you, Casey. Thanks. She's never heard that before. P1 Bear. Yeah, hey, guys. I hope you guys are having a good day. I'm not trying to make myself look really bad because of where we live, but I saw the other day at Walmart over in Lake Jennings on Los Coaches in Lakeside that Mr. Chapman will be signing his book sometime this month. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what Dog the Bounty Hunter's real name is, Dwayne Chapman. As a matter of fact, somebody on line one, I think somebody on line one actually knows what the thing is. Is this P1 Dirt Flirt? Yes, it is. P1 Dirt Flirt. Dirt Flirt. Dirt Flirt. What are you calling to say? There was an ad in the paper the other day for the Mother Goose Parade in El Cajon, and he's supposed to be there. Yeah, I wouldn't. Yeah, I don't think that he's going to be at the parade. Well, if he is, I can get an Afro wig and paint myself black and head on down there. Well, there you go. That would be interesting. Certainly might be interesting. P1 Marty or P1 Matty B. Hey, Mikey, this is dinner. You know who it is. But I saw a thing today where a really radical church group had been protesting military funerals and actually disrupting them. They just lost for $11 million.
Yeah, I usually don't like to mention them because I don't like to give them publicity. This is different, though. I think this is a victory. This is a victory. And the cool thing about them having to pay $10.9 million is the fact that this will probably bankrupt them and they will not have funds now to go around and protest military funerals anymore. They were protecting the military funerals for a while. kind of run off the protesters and keep them away, but I was just glad to see a victory. Let me explain what this guy's talking about. There's a group in Kansas that has a church, and they remind me of the family in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Wow. Okay. Including Grandpa? Well, Grandpa was kind of like, he didn't have any senses left, kind of. Right. But the rest of the nutties in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, they were like, they kind of like knew what was going on. I got math. This is good math. Let's get math. And they could like drive and stuff, you know, but that's kind of like what this family reminds me because it's a family and they have formed their own church and they believe that the reason that soldiers are dying in Iraq is God's punishment for
The United States being lenient in terms of like laws with homosexuals. Yeah, that we tolerate homosexuality. There it is. That we tolerate homosexuality in this country. And so what they do to show that God is punishing the soldiers in Iraq. is when a dead soldier comes home from Iraq, they will go to their funeral and protest with signs that says things like, God hates fags. When you see it, you would never figure it out on your own. You'd never figure out what their bizarre connection is. But what is so unreal about it is, the only thing I can come away with is, these people must have been, victims of such diabolical sexual or mental or physical abuse when they were kids the people in the church the people in the church because they are so twisted like their minds are evil and twisted and especially when you take like stuff that has to do with god and you twist it you know like that you're getting into a whole new area of evil and um
The thing that is just, you know, obviously, I'm sure we all sort of, when we hear it, we all sort of have the same mudfish reaction to it. Nice. Which is, imagine being a parent. Imagine being a parent. And that's exactly what happened to this guy that sued. Basically, the memory of his son's funeral, which was already. The worst moment of your life. The worst moment of his life, burying his son, was marred by this embarrassing, awful, terrible protest with signs that say things like what I just told you. Now, when I read it, I was praying for those people that something will change in their lives, something will change in their hearts, something will change in their minds, and that they'll somehow Stop this because that pain that they've caused, you know, I believe that when we die, God judges all of us. And that pain that they put them through, it almost makes me shiver to think of them having to be faced with that. You know, like, oh, it's so heavy. It's so heavy with the pain that they put that father through. Well, the father sued and he sued because they were inflicting such.
Incredible emotional distress upon him. Yeah, they did. He sued for intent to inflict emotional distress and invasion of privacy. And he won. Yep, 10.9 million. Now, these people are not well-off people. And so they, in essence, are... See, I don't really understand it. Will their wages be, you know? I don't know. Yeah, I don't know how it goes after. What's it called, Eddie? Garnished? Yeah, yeah. I don't know how it goes after, you know, they pay as much as they can pay. But, you know, the point is, is that there's not going to be any money to go to their church and to fund these protests anymore because it's all going to go to this father. Now, you know, knowing them, that they're probably going to, what do you call it, peel and they're probably going to try to do whatever they can to get out of it and all that. And we also know this. OJ got sued and they won and they haven't got a dime out of him. Yeah, brutal.
And so same exact thing may happen here, but I just, you know, this is what I thought to myself. First of all, I would think that even if you were, I think that the people that are at gay pride parades with anything that puts the word God and fags together, I think those people are crazy when I see that. It's just crazy, craziness. The other side of that is, People that go to the city council and say, I don't believe in gay marriage. I believe that the Bible preaches this. And if somebody wants to give that as their opinion, I think that's fine. I would do that because I don't believe in gay marriage. But to the hatred, the hatred is wrong. It's just so wrong. And to make that weird connection, that connection was so weird. I don't even know how they...
came about that connection. I know. Like, who's the one that was like, I got an idea. Right. I figured it out. Like, huh? I got enough. It's good enough. It's good enough. Yeah. Well, seriously, it's just, it's the weirdest thing in the world. Uh, P1, Kelly is on the line. Kelly, are you there? Kelly is not there. She wanted to know what the results of B-Rob's DNA tests were. Ooh. Talk about it. B-Rob is not a father. Yeah. And that is that. Uh, You guys, we've got to go. We've got to go. We've been in here so long. Tomorrow, we're going to be out at the San Diego Fire Relief, Qualcomm Stadium, 6 in the morning to 7 at night. All the different shows here at Rock 105 are going to be broadcasting. We're going to be in Section F2. Come out there and see us tomorrow morning and donate money. Help us raise money and be able to give back to the community. And don't forget, ladies, if you're going to sing, that's at 7.30 on the phone tomorrow morning.
Lovely and talented Missy is up next. Today on the show, she got the lost and found, so she's going to play songs you haven't heard in a long time. We will see you at Qualcomm at 6. The Mikey Show's out. Later.
