The Mikey Show opened with host Mikey (37) introducing himself, his v-neck and shaved head, and the crew while teasing Dog the Bounty Hunter audio; simultaneously, the team debated bringing back the canceled Tyrone and Tortilla bit during the writer's strike. Skye's microphone distortion became a running gag, prompting Mikey to reveal German Sennheiser engineers visited the studio, yet the issue persisted through at least six gain conversations and Sean's on-air paint-peeling bit. The show featured a controversial segment with Dog the Bounty Hunter on Hannity and Combs, where his use of the N-word on a son's voicemail ignited debate over whether he's racist or merely inarticulate, and his subsequent 'I love the blacks' defense referencing naming his boat Amistad. Throughout, callers discussed everything from PlayStation denial stories and William Shatner cameos to burglary looting in San Alejo Hills and the distinction between 'black people' and 'N-words'.

Good morning, citizens of San Diego. Good morning, San Diego. It's a Mikey show at 6.04. In San Marcos, the San Alijo family was a victim twice of looting stemming from the wildfires. The Padres' Greg Maddox breaks a record by winning his 17th gold glove. I'm going to tell you right off the bat, we are going to have audio of Dog the Bounty Hunter on Hannity and Combs. I'll tell you that right off the bat. It's going to be a spicy meatball. So, yeah, we got a lot of it, man. So we'll get to that. We have so much stuff going on, but let me introduce everybody really quickly. And by the way, you can already start calling us. If you're driving in your car right now, these are open phones. So whatever, you know, you could talk about what was on TV last night or you can talk about anything. You got questions, you got whatever, comments.
It's an open door policy right now. Call about anything. 570-1053 is the number. And I promise I will be nice to you. And that's that. My name is Mikey. I'm the host of the show. And I am 37 years of age. Today I'm wearing a white v-neck t-shirt. Thank you. My head is shaved. I shave it with a razor. First time I ever did, I cut my ear. Have not cut myself or my ears since. I have cut my head, but it has not been as a result of a razor. I hit my head on things every once in a while. You do? Yeah. Every once in a while, I will take a hit to the noggin or scrape my head with something. That's funny. Well, you know, your hair protects you from things. Yeah. And so I don't have it. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He is 34 years old.
Skye is our news girl. She's 30. Sean is our sound effects guy. He's 37 years old as well. He is wearing a white t-shirt today. It is not v-neck. It's crew neck. It's an undershirt. It's not a t-shirt. Sean says undershirt is the equivalent of like underwear. And a t-shirt is something that people wear for fashion. And he's usually pretty clear about the fact that he doesn't wear t-shirts. He wears... Undershirts. Lest any of you were confused. Glad we got that all straightened out. Well, we... I want to make sure people... Well, Sean wanted people to know. It's very important. Well, you were confused just now. Mm-hmm. And so, Undershirt. That's right. Ashley is our assistant producer. She's 24 years old. And she's a very interesting girl. Thanks. More on her later.
Boston Rob is our phone screener, but he's not here. Oh. Yeah, he's in Martha's Vineyard. That's right, Mike. Yeah. I'm, uh, staying at a timeshare. More chocolate-covered strawberries, please. Yes, and, uh, another glass of Chianti for the lady. Martha's Vineyard. That's right. I will, uh, yes, I will take the chicken Kai-Ev. Ha, ha, ha. A glass of your finest bubbly, good sir. Thank you. By the way, what are the wet, hot towels for? And then there's Zeth. Zeth is the youngest person on the Mikey Show. He's 22 years old. Z. And he's very tall. How tall? How tall are you, Zeth? You got to turn your mic on, bro. I'm about 6'3". 6'3"? Yeah. You know, that's a prototype quarterback in the NFL. 6'3". Yeah. That's how tall they are. That's when he stands up straight. Oh. Oh. Yeah. Baseball, too. Rarely ever happens. Zeth does not stand up straight. No. Zeth does a bit of a slouch. Hunch. A bit of a hunch. Well, I'm giving Rob a complex. I got to kind of stand, you know. Yeah, it's got to be weird when you're standing next to him. Yeah. All right. 570-1053 is the number. Give us a call. Then we're going to get into all the haps. There's a lot of haps out there today. So we'll get into it. P1 Victor.
Hey, what's up? How's it going this morning? Yeah, I heard the story yesterday about some kid that got in trouble for hiring a hitman to kill his parents. Nuh-uh. Maybe you can give me more details on that. Scott, did you read that? Is that a local story? I heard it on the BC and Clint show in the afternoon. Oh, well, hey. Oh, yeah, but did that happen in San Diego? Oh, I don't know. They didn't say that it gives too many details. That's what I was calling. Rock 105.3, welcome to... Trippy Tuesday. Yeah. Where we tell trippy stories about things happening in the world. Well, I guess a kid hired someone to kill his parents. All right. Well, Skye is searching. She's Googling. If we find it, we'll let you know. All right. Thank you. All right. Let's see. Mikey Show. Hello. Hey, this is P1F. First off, I love you guys' show, but I had a question before I went on deployment. You guys used to do Tyrone and Tortilla show. Whatever happened to that? Our program director, Shawna, made us chill out on it for a while. Any chances of coming back? Yeah, we just got to, you know, let all the Imus stuff die down more. That's why she made us stop. Do you know about Imus or was that when you were gone? Yeah, it was while I was gone, but I know about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All that stuff caused a stir with everybody. And she asked if we would stop for a while.
And earlier on in my career, I would have said no, and I would have kept doing it. But now I'm trying to be a nicer person, and so I am honoring the wishes of my program director until I decide that I'm not going to honor it anymore. Imus would be a good one to call, though, right? Imus would be, yeah, for sure. For sure. All right, thank you. Thank you, man. We'll see you. He was in prison. P1 Ron. Hey, P1 Ron here. What's going on? I actually had sort of the same question. I want to see some of the old bits come back. Which ones would you like? You know, with the writer's strike going on, I was wondering maybe Reality Bites can come back. Oh, that's a good idea. It's a perfect time. It's a perfect time. So they can steal our ideas some more. Exactly. Help them out. With the writer's strike, we should bring back Reality Bites. Yeah, Reality Bites was where we come up with three different ideas for a reality show, and then listeners vote on which one they like best. It's pretty fun. Sky would never embellish. That's right. Well, Sky doesn't embellish. No. No, never. She does not. Sky, are you still looking for that story? Well, yeah, because I'm finding a lot of old stories.
found something out of florida in regards to a kid being denied a playstation but i can't find a date link to the story so i'm still trying multiple sources but it's not it's like off of like playstation blog websites and stuff like that it's not like legitimate news sites or anything so still kind of Mikey show hey what's up Mikey what's up Hey, when are they going to syndicate you guys, man? Because I work all over California. I live in San Diego. But I need your show when I'm out in Bakersfield or L.A. You know what I mean, man? Yeah. Let's crush it. Let's get on the ball here and get it done, bro. That's right. Hey, listen. That's what I'm saying. I love the idea. Come on. Let's do it. Yeah. I love you guys. And Sean's a furry ball. Thank you. Whoa. Sean is a furry ball. He is a furry ball. A furry ball. Isn't that what they're called? Furry balls? Ball. Oh. I don't think so. I think that's insulting to him. The people that put on the costumes. They're just straight furries or furs. They like to be referred to. Not furry balls. He has furry balls. I'm sorry. I thought it was furry ball. No. That guy did too. I mean, you can't blame all of us that didn't know. You did not think that. He did, and then he called and said... No, you did not. Okay. Hey, I'll write it down. You know me. I got to write stuff down and remember it.
Oh, gosh. I'll just put furry. Furs. Go ahead, Skye. Okay, in regards to this story, it is out of Florida, and I guess the deal is it's starting to go to trial, so that's why it's making news, but it actually happened back in June where this kid, a 16-year-old, was grounded and had his PlayStation taken away and was banned for watching TV because he had bad grades and bad behavior. So he obviously threatened to kill his parents. And then the mom, I'm not exactly sure what happened between the sting, but the mom contacted the police and they set up a sting with the son for him to meet a contract killer, which was really an undercover cop. How old was the kid? 16. Oh, my. Oof. Yeah. Oh, that's scary. Evil little boy. So now it's going to trial. I'm in jail, lock, throw away the key. That's true. Oh, man. P1 Paradise. Hey, Mikey. Good morning. How's it going? Good, man. I got a situation. I've been a longtime listener, a big fan, but it's more of a public service announcement, really, that I wanted to say. I found Sky to be a lot more tolerable to listen to when I turned the bass down real low in my car because she pops her P's and her B's so obnoxiously loud into the microphone, bro.
Have you ever addressed that with her? Have I ever addressed that? Oh my gosh. That was a good one. Hey, and lest anybody think that I set this phone call up, I did not. I did not set this phone call up. This is a phone call that came in of this man's own free will. Yes, the truth is that we have had German engineers from the corporation Sennheiser. come into this studio. That's not the truth. And with little, you know, white coats on, notepads. I don't know what is wrong with her. That's not the truth. We have tried to do everything with the processing. Clouse, put your safety goggles on. She may break your eyeballs. I put the safety glasses on, but that won't make the piece the stuff that the pop. I don't understand. The piece will still do the pop when you put the safety goggles on. That's not true. Well, I figured being a radio professional that you probably did try to address this with her and try to make the best show they could possibly do. can't. I was thinking something maybe a little more crude that we could try. Who sits next to Sky in the studio? Sure, it ruins the console. No one sits... Well, I sit to Sky's... I'm at the main control console, and in front of me is like a U-shaped console. Sky sits on one side of the U, Eddie sits on the other side of the U. No one's within arm's reach of her mic? Well, no. Nobody can get that close. No. Maybe we
we could set something up where, I mean, obviously you could turn her down when she starts to get obnoxious, but that would be most of the show. Maybe someone could just quit. I mean, you have nothing better to do, sir. You're just going to call and feed up on a chick for doing her friggin' job. I love this guy. I appreciate you. I really do. Obviously you don't, A-Face, if you want to turn down the radio and ruin the show. Get the face on him. I appreciate all that. No way, sir. Never come back. What I'm thinking is if we could just push the mic or maybe if you could just... You know what? Maybe you should just listen to something else. How about that? It's so annoying. It's so annoying. It's so annoying. It's so annoying. It's so annoying. Maybe turn it into a heavy chair or something. We just got to keep those levels down so it's not over-modulated. Oh, man. And we're good. And we're good. That's brutal. Skye, it's okay. He started it. You're beautiful. Thank you. I agree, but what do we do about the loudness of the microphone? You just gotta keep the levels down, bro. But dude, but dude. That's it. I've never blown a mic out. You just gotta keep the levels down a little on her. So she doesn't over-modulate. I keep the microphone down, but you can only keep it down so much. You can only keep it down so much. It's so hard to control. You know what? You see, she thinks I'm attacking her. She's lashing out. This is not a good way to start the show. Alright, let's take some calls.
Let's move on. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, good morning, guys. Yeah, good morning. Just wanted to say how great William Shatner was yesterday. Wait, who's this? William Shatner. Yeah. He went, Sean. Oh, he went, Sean. Why is Sean calling in? Why is Sean calling in? Isn't he on our show, Mike? That's really weird. Well, you guys just said... But you have a microphone, Sean. Sean, you're on our show, bro. I mean, you don't have to call. Well, I realize that, but the invitation was to call into that show. Yeah. I'm doing that. I wanted to call. Sean's on the show. I thought it was really great yesterday. Yeah, we know. We got your email all about it. Yeah, we got your email. We know. You enjoyed that interview thoroughly. Okay, awesome. Wow. He's on our show. I had a tongue up on him. He's still, I mean... It was a great call, though. He's on the microphone. Appreciate that guy. Really weird. Really, really weird. Brew is on the line.
What's up, Brew? I'm getting sick and tired of everybody giving Skye such a hard time. Thank you. Brew, that's my boy right there. Hey, listen. I feel that this microphone deal is something that is not going to be resolved. I think we should accept it. It's fair. I mean, it's a fair statement by the previous caller. You know, Skye's voice, it's unique, and it's, you know, her family has told her she's got an inside voice and an outside voice, and they're kind of the same. She's like a banshee. What? You're a banshee. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to insult. And so... What are you trying to do? Point out what your voice is. A banshee. Yes. I don't even know what that is. Look it up. Well, then why are you offended? But I know it's an insult. I know it's an insult because I'm a human being. Because I'm a human being, not a banshee. I've got to turn her mic down. Not a banshee. A human being. When you were doing that right now, I swear to you, you were pegging the needle. I swear that's not a joke. Oh my gosh. Okay. Just turn down the pot.
Maybe you could hire yourself out to people who want to paint their walls and they need to peel the old paint off. Sean! See, Sean, you're now adding a new insult to it. I could go to that house and talk. Oh, can I, Sean? Yeah, because in this studio, all the paint is coming off the walls right now. I mean, we can't even keep paint. We tried wallpaper. It doesn't work. She's on that other mic. We tried to focus on this. Her mic's not on. Her mic is not on. Her mic is off, and she's talking through another microphone. And it's pegging the needle. That's crazy. It's pegging the needle. That is insane. Oh, that's insane. I will say this. I will say this. It is unique in that I've only experienced it one time in 20 years of radio. Dicks. A voice like that? I mean it. The power in her voice, the strength in her vocal cords that is able to achieve what she's able to achieve. And who's the person who can call and insult somebody at 6 o'clock in the freaking morning? You're talking into that mic, Sky, but your mic's not on. Oh, I don't care. But you're perfect levels right now. Well, that's fine. Let's do it this way. I gotta turn it down a little bit. Do you have to turn my mic down, too? She doesn't have a voice box. She has a voice skyscraper. Oh!
Have a wonderful day. Let me turn mine down, too. I'm not trying to rip people down. But Sean, you're in San Francisco. That's my point. I love her so much. Well, I understand. I understand why she's upset. She's like, hey, you know, I'm just trying to do my job here. I can't help my voice. My voice is, I got to, you know, loud. It is what it is, Mike. It is what it is. And I agree. Now, from my side of it, I wish that there was something we could do to adjust. I have not figured that out yet. Well, why don't we talk to an engineer? We have. No, we haven't. We haven't. No, we have not. Hang on a minute. No, no, no. I'm turning. I need to be heard right now. I need to have this conversation. Not about you. Sky. What? Do you believe that we have never talked to an engineer about this? I mean, too loud? You do? Okay. Sky, Sky, Sky. No, maybe, maybe. Listen. It could be. It could be. Wait, wait, wait, wait. It could be that you don't know. I know there's been, like, problems. No, no, no. Sky, Sky, Sky. Honestly, I swear to you. I swear to you. I've had no less than half a dozen conversations. No less than six. At least six conversations about the microphone gain and it being too powerful. Let's turn it down. But then what happens is they'll adjust the gain, and if anybody else sits at that microphone, they start talking.
You're like this. They sound like this. And they're talking at full level. And I have to crank their microphone up. Well, then why don't we just have this microphone specifically for me? We do. But even with it. There's shows. No, no, no. But it's not even that. It's not even that. We do have it set specifically for you. But even having it set specifically for you, I still have these massive control problems. Well, then obviously it still needs to be fixed. I agree. But in all honesty, and this is a true statement, I believe that microphone that you use is made by a company called Shure. And I honestly, I've really thought this. I wonder if we could get them to fly out their engineers to look at it with our engineers and go, okay, listen, powerful voice. Is there anything we need to adjust with these mics over here? You got this mic over here? You get this mic over here and maybe adjust the top of them. It sounds like butter. It's really difficult because when I come in here to do the fantasy football show on Sundays, Brian Wilson sits at that microphone. And he has a pretty loud voice. I mean, you guys know Brian. He's got a pretty deep, loud voice. You can't even hear him.
You have to crank the mic. If you do crank it, you actually have to switch him to another mic. Well, Mike sits here and I sit here. So you can't do it. So we don't know where to put him. You can't whisper. You can't because that won't work. That is not, it won't work. You have to be able to speak. You know what might work? Why did we never have this problem in San Jose? Sky, we've always had this problem. I know we call it. I think I have the solution, but I don't want to do the solution because I like it better this way. It might work if you were isolated. I don't want it either. If we had her in Boston Rob's studio, I'll tell you why it's a problem. The reason it's a problem is because her voice bleeds over into all other microphones. She's got a voice that's so powerful, it comes into my microphone, Eddie's microphone, the third mic. If she were in her own studio, it's not bleeding into any other microphones. It'd be perfect, but I don't want you to leave the room. Why do people love Celine Dion for her powerful voice? And I'm hated for mine. I'll tell you why. Because she's able to do her voice on a single microphone. They wouldn't like it.
If she had other mics around that people were like, what's going on? Ooh, I have a suggestion. Her sounds gorgeous. Well, they like that, too. They like that, too. There's no doubt about it. You asked the question. Nothing. You asked the question. But some may say Sky's voice is gorgeous. Thank you. I didn't say it wasn't. Ashley. It's true. Maybe we can do a thing like, Skye, when you get really worked up or you know that you're really talking loud and you're fired up, to just back away. She'll have to go to Arkansas. To just back away like this, and then you can scream, you can get loud, you can get high, you can pop your P's and your B's, but be back here so your levels are good. I can try. Don't you think that would help? Don't you think it sounds strange when she's off mic that far? No, but she wasn't screaming right there or yelling or getting when Skye gets worked up and she gets going. That she should back away from the microphone. Back up and then it will... Let's try it. Because that's what I do. If not, then I'm too hot too, Skye. I have the same problem. So I back up. Save that clip. I don't even know what I just said. When you're too hot too, you have the same problem. Oh. You know, I think if they have the right processor for her voice...
you can get it done and have her in the same room. Have they created that technology yet? This is such a non-issue. I think so. It's been six conversations, my good friend. It is an issue. I'm telling you. This is a non-issue? For me. It's an issue. Sky. Sky. What up? She is awesome. Hey, listen. I love it. I love the weirdness of the whole thing. I love the whole... Now everybody's calling with possible solutions. And they're serious. That's going to bore people to tears we do that. Forget it. Trust me, guys. Everybody on hold right now that wants to give an engineering thing about how it'll work, we've tried stuff, guys. We have professionals. We need Germans from the Sennheiser company. We need Dolby Labs to come out. Yes. We need George Lucas. To come here with industrial light and magic sound engineers and figure it out. P1 paparazzi is calling about a completely different. Eddie, what did you do? Eddie, that's your boy. Eddie immediately sat back in his chair, put his head back, rolled his eyes and said the words every day now. Then he looked at Zeth, the phone screener, and he put his hands up like, well, what are you even doing over there?
Forget it. Oh, Eddie, no. P1 paparazzi is on the line. He takes pictures. We used to take pictures at our personal appearances. And what's going on, paparazzi? Paparazzi. P1 paparazzi? What happened? Eddie, do not cheer yourself on. I do not believe that. I believe paparazzi would never hang up. No way. No way. It's never happened. I hope a train didn't go ripping through his home. All the calls are about Skye's mic. I'm just, come on. What are you going to do? Well, I can't wait to get to this dog, the bounty hunter stuff. I also can't wait to tell you about the scumbags that went into a house here in San Diego and finished the looting job. I'll tell you what, I'm a little suspicious about it because it happened when the people went on vacation and the looters knew it, which means they've been watching. They've been watching. Sky says they made a set of keys. I'll tell you what neighborhood this is when we come back, but Sky says they made a set of keys the first time they came there. They stole house keys. They wouldn't even have to make a set of keys. They just stole house keys. They don't even have to.
I can't imagine the family, though, realizing the keys were gone and not changing the locks. That's weird. I mean, I didn't want to say that because obviously these people are victims, but that would be my first thing. Why don't you change the locks? Yeah, get a locksmith out ASAP. Plus, didn't you know somebody was in your house? They knew. They knew the first time. That someone was in their house? And that the keys and that other things were missing the first time. That's weird. And didn't change the locks. Well, that doesn't make any sense at all. It sounds like now it's making me think, what are they doing? Trying to get insurance money? No. Hmm. Because that's just, it goes, it's completely 150% counterintuitive. Well, and they didn't call the police the first time because they said they didn't, because the police were so busy with all of the fires and everything going on that they thought their thing was so minor that they, but then. Hey, listen, maybe they were victimized. It sounds like, it sounds strange. It does sound a little weird. Very strange. Very, very strange. Boy, do we have a lot of stuff to get to. We do this thing now where we kind of go over stuff that we got going on in our personal lives, like what happened the day before. And holy cow, Eddie's got a doozy about his night's sleep. A doozy. Right now he's exhausted, he says. He's exhausted. He's drinking some caffeine. He's totally shit. Okay. Yes! Yes! He's crazy! I also would like to talk to people about how Sean caught a shoplifter in the act.
stopped him, turned him in, like, made a whole production. So, I'll tell you that. I'll tell you the neighborhood, this burglary looting thing happened. And we'll do it all after this. Jerry Seinfeld in the stand-up spotlight. I don't even know what it takes to get a cab driver's license. I think all you need is a face. This seems to be their big qualification. No blank heads are allowed driving cabs in this town. Also helps to have a name with like eight consonants in a row. You ever see some of the letters in these names? What is the O with the line through it, by the way? What planet is that from? You need a chart of the elements if you want to report the guy. Yes, officer, his name was Amal and then the symbol for boron. No, it was not manganese. I had the periodic chart with me at the time. Okay, I'll tell you what. The Mikey Show will be right back. Go ahead and see if we can. Hello.

Some spots are pretty thick out there, man, so give yourself maybe a little extra time. This fog is definitely going to slow you down. Right now, the westbound 52 is a tough ride at the Santee. An earlier accident just past Mass Boulevard still wrapping up in the right-hand shoulder, and you'll get the slow ride here from the 125 pretty much all the way up
near the top of the summit here, heading in towards Tierra Santa. West 8, that's a good-looking ride, man. It's clear all the way to Mission Valley. West 94 is also looking great into a downtown area. Coming up out of the South Bay, both the 5 and the 805 northbound. A little tough now out of Chula Vista, up to National City on both these freeways. 805 continues to slow into North Park, heading out of Escondido. South 15, you'll find the brake lights off the 78 down towards Villarancho Parkway, then again around Karma Mountain Ranch, and the coaster rides. Southbound 5 now slows out of La Costa, down towards Manchester in the Cardiff area. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105 for 8. Is this Chaz? What's going on? Not much. Just calling in and talking about thank you for the AIS tips. I had multiple full SR22, all that stuff. I lost my license for like two years, and when I got it back, I couldn't find an insurance company that would even take me. AIS found me one, and they saved me like $240, $230 or so from what the other insurance companies quoting me if they would actually take me on. Really? Well, good for you. Yeah, it's great. I went down to the Escondido office, got everything all squared away. Were they cool to you? Oh, dude, they're awesome, dude. I mean, it's, you know, you're always talking about how they're, you know, they've got P1s working there. It's cool, man. We sat there and after we got everything signed up, we talked about the Mikey show for like 10 minutes. That's awesome. Thank you, dude. I appreciate you. All right. We'll see you. The phone number to AIS, 1-800-777-4247.
1-800-777-4-A-I-S. The Mikey Show continues, featuring Mikey. I am a fat nerd, and it's really okay for you to say hello to Eddie. Hey, I'm the realist guy. I'm not going to say who I am just because it makes other people weird and out. Say true to your guy. Yeah, unless I'm provoked. Whatever. And Ashley. The Mikey Show's on. Drop yourself in, kids. Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the show. It is 638. The Eagles killed Britney Spears in album sales last week, taking the number one spot. Hall of Fame head coach Don Shula says the Patriots deserve an asterisk. You know, listen, Eddie, it's not like I'm this big Bill Belichick fan or Patriot fan. All I'm going to say is that I can't wait for somebody to...
that 1972 Dolphins... I couldn't agree more. I hate those guys. Dude, they are such... They're such whiny, like... So that Sky understands because I can see the glass eye look. The 72 Dolphins are the only NFL team to ever have an undefeated season. They went undefeated the entire season and won the Super Bowl. And every year since then, when a team, the last undefeated team loses, they pop... champagne and celebrate the fact that they still are the only undefeated team they all get together yeah the remaining members get together and celebrate which to me is so uh tactless it's because you're celebrating someone else's loss exactly and that's i think it's so unclassy and i just i hate it and they do it they show it every year every single year and don shula is the head coach of that team And so now he's coming out saying, because of the whole Patriots cheating thing at the beginning of the season, that if they do go undefeated, that it deserves an asterisk. And now he's kind of backtracking. And what he's saying now is, well, you know, hey, listen, I didn't offer this information. Somebody asked me, and I just told them what I thought. Which, hey, man, it's fine if that's your opinion.
It's fine to give your opinion. You were right. You were asked. You gave it. Blah, blah, blah. All I'm saying is, boy, I can't wait to never see you guys anymore on TV. So I don't have to look at Nick Bonacani and all those jerks. Yeah, all those guys popping the champagne. To me, I agree with all the stuff you said. And I'll just add to it that it's just so annoying. It's just so annoying to see. I hate it. And let me tell you something. Every season a team does good, which is all the time. They show these guys. Yeah. Because the team will be doing real good, and then they finally lose, and they show these guys popping the champagne. And you're just like, enough with you old 72 dolphins. We're over it. Okay, so Dog the Bounty Hunter. Well, first of all, I told you that I was going to tell you what neighborhood that burglary happened in, and it was San Alejo Hills. It happened in San Alejo Hills. Cut 31. Is this a joke? you really think, is it a joke? Like, oh my God, okay, what is a joke? That's the first thing that you're thinking. And you're like, yeah, like you're like, okay, this is just a joke. Then you're like, oh my God, somebody's been in my home, you know? So then you call the police department immediately. That's Alexandra Rogers. And Skye says that when their home was broken into during the fires, they did not call the police because they didn't want to burden the police with,
The fire's going on. They didn't want to burden the police. Now, are we sure that at that point they knew that their house keys were missing? Whoa, excuse me, yeah. They said that when they returned from evacuating, they left their home for two nights when they evacuated. I guess better safe than sorry. And they said when they returned home, they found that jewelry and other small items, including a spare set of house keys, were missing. Okay, so at that point... they do not call the police then either. Well, that's the first time. So they do not call the police. Okay, right, right, right. That's the first time they don't call the police because they don't want to burden anybody. Right, because this is in the middle of the fires. Right. Okay, and so they notice that the house keys are gone. They do not change the locks in the house, and then they go on vacation. Well, they didn't want to burden Home Depot. Yes. You know, Home Depot is very busy with selling masks. Right. Lumber. So then this last Friday, Saturday, this last weekend, they went out of town for the weekend and came home and found that...
That stuff was gone. But there are no signs of a break-in. So police are saying, obviously, these people used the keys they stole. Yeah, yeah. You know, maybe it's exactly what it sounds like. They were burglarized, whatever. I'm just saying, I can't imagine in a million years having my house keys stolen and not... Like, at that second. Like, I'm on the phone with the locksmith, that. How do you go to bed and sleep that night and feel okay? It's crazy. Right. And then, you don't call the police because you don't want to burden anybody, which, I'm sorry, I'm burdening at that point. Somebody's in my house, man. Yeah. Like, I'm burdening. Okay, but you didn't. Okay, fine, you're a really good person because you didn't want to burden the police. Okay. But then, and then you don't change the locks. And then... you go hey let's go on vacation make sure you lock up right well and and i get okay leave the door open at that point well yeah with a welcome sign put some cookies and milk out sign out saying free stuff yeah i get the wildfires are raging and okay you know maybe people do have that thought you know not to call the police but you know a couple days later after things chill out why don't you call the police then yeah well i mean listen things are chilled out yeah things were chilled out friday
Things were chilled out Thursday last week. Things were chilled out like they've been chilled out. When did the fire start? October 21st. October 21st. And they were evacuated October 22nd and came back on the 24th. So on October 24th is when they found their keys were missing. Oh, come on. The fire started that Sunday, October 21st? Yes. Okay, that first week it was brutal. Yeah, that first week. The next week, the 29th, Monday the 29th, Like, we were kind of back to normal. Yeah, we were starting to get back to normal. Really getting back to normal. And then their house was broken into when? This weekend. This last weekend? Okay. The third and the fourth? No, come on. That didn't make sense. I wonder what the police are saying. Like, I'm just a dummy on the radio. I wonder what the police are saying. I'm putting these things together going, that don't add up to me. But I wonder if the police are like, this is just... Listen, if it is as...
As it's stated, it's just like the most crazy case of why would you do that ever? But, hey, listen, they did it. And they say, looters returned and stole thousands of dollars worth of stuff. Okay, so Dog the Bounty Hunter goes on Hannity and Combs. What is that? What an interesting choice. I thought that, too. For P1s who don't know? For P1s that don't know, Hannity and Combs is a cable, I believe, CNN. I believe it's... What is it? Fox. Oh, it's a conservative. Fox News. So some Fox News, which if you... Here's something else people should know. Fox is a conservative network. CNN is Libby. Oh. You ask them, they say, no, we're not. We're fair and balanced. Everybody's fair and balanced. Fair and balanced. Everybody's fair and balanced. But not really. We get it. In fact, Fox is the only conservative one claiming to not be. Right.
But they're the only conservative one. And every other media outlet is liberal, claiming to not be. But yeah, why a conservative talk show? Well, and why Fox News? I mean, why not go on a big time network? Like Larry King. Most people are going on Larry King these days. Why? What's a possible reason? For Hannity and Cohen? I can't even come up with one. Maybe he knows them in a prior thing? They'll be more sympathetic to him. Cut to. I thought that I was cool enough in the black world to be able to use that word as a brother to a brother. I'm not. I didn't really know until three or four days ago what that meant to black people. Of course, I know the story, and I know... America story, but I never realized that that's like stabbing a black person in the heart. I would never do that to any kind of person. I've always taken pride to be the white guy that can talk to the black people, that can refer to them truly as from a different mother. And this is, that doesn't fly there. Well, that is quite possibly the worst move he could have done. Dude! Well, listen, I, listen.
I read these clips. I read the clips of what he's saying. And I thought, oh, okay. So he had to make a decision. How am I going to approach it? And his decision was, I'll lie. Instead of just being honest. I'll lie. You've got to be kidding me. Now, remember when we were talking about this the other day and I said, I don't believe he's really racist. I believe he was raised in a prison culture where he hears that word. He knows it's wrong. and he knows it's derogatory, but it's the way he talks. If he had come on and said that, people wouldn't have liked it, but you may have been like, hey, man, it is what it is. When you come on and you flat out say something so stupid like, oh, I didn't know that was a bad word. I didn't know black people... Until a couple days ago. Yeah, three days ago. You know what? Three days ago, I found out the N-word. What are you talking about you found out three days ago? On the conversation with...
Your son, on the voicemail, you say, if it ever gets out, it'll wreck us. And we use that word. So what are you talking about? Wow. That was the decision making? To come on and say, like, you just made it a hundred times worse. If black people didn't like you before, forget it, if the world didn't like you before, now they hate you. Because you're lying. Like, if you gave me a million guesses on what his excuse would be, I would never come up with that. Never. That he didn't know that it was a bad word? No, I mean, because who could say that with a straight face? Why do you lie, liar? Well, let me ask you a question, hypothetically. Would it make a difference if you found out that Dog only uses that word out of love? Would that make a difference for you? Because that's what he's about to say. No, shut up. Shut the hell up. Shut up. Got four. Is this a word you use with regularity throughout the years and now only in the last four days I've realized five days that it's wrong to use? I was sitting in a studio when the other person used the word. But did you use it regularly?
Not that regularly, only probably as a greeting to a black person where they come up, Hi, my end dog, and I'd be like, stick my head in his chest, Hi, my end, how are you doing? I wouldn't turn around and say hi and use it out loud because I'm going to get beat up, but I use it as a, when I meet a brother and we shake and we say how's it, that's how it is. It's not a degrading thing at all. You said this is how you would greet, you told me privately, Snoop Dogg, is that true? Yes, exactly right. I mean, you just can't walk up and say hi, you're going to get hit in the mouth, but... when a brother says that to you first or you realize that there's there's a special connection that I thought I had between me and black America. And I used to say, I'm black too. In other words, my whole life I've been called a half-breed, a convict, king of the trailer trash, this and that. I take that and stand. So when I stood there and said, I kind of know what you feel like, because I've been there too, that I felt that I could embrace and like as brothers or even as a black woman say the word. I now learned I'm not black at all.
And I never did it out of hate. This sounds so stupid. I always did it out of love. Listen, this is my opinion. You're going to disagree with it? You're going to disagree with it? I don't believe he's racist. I believe he's stupid. I believe he's the worst spoken person. He's so inarticulate. He has no ability to transfer what's in brain to mouth. He makes poor decisions. He's self-destructive. He's lying. But I don't believe he's a racist. I believe it. I believe that it is as he said. I believe that he probably has said that word to black guys. And he's too stupid to realize. And he does. He's just too stupid to realize that what you need to do, dog, is go on TV and say, don't try to make it like you're a member of the black community. Yes, I've said it. I come from that environment. I've said it to black dudes I feel comfortable saying it to. I shouldn't say it, though, because it's bad. It's a bad word.
Well, he said he's never used it out of like a hateful way. He did on that call. On the message. Well, yeah. And when you hear him say it over and over again in the call, he says it with the ER on the end. And as a greeting in that community, you say it with the A at the end. Yeah. And he, the only time I've heard him say it multiple times, he uses the ER. And no one would accept that as a call. They bleep it. But you. I think you hear the end part of it. Yeah, maybe you do. I don't know. But I know they bleeped it, so I'm like, I don't know what's... Well, you know this, though. Yeah. You know he's not going to be using it in the A with the A on the end of it when he's talking to his son in that context. He's not greeting his son's girlfriend. He's not greeting her when he calls her that. That's crazy. So, I'm looking at this. And by the way, Dog will be on Larry King tonight. So I guess Larry King was the second runner-up. Weird, huh? It's just going to make it worse. That is so crazy. Would it make it better for you guys? Hang on. This is the worst. Let me ask you the question. But this is the worst. Let me ask you the question because maybe I ask this question and you go, yes, that would make it all better. So my question is, would it make it better if...
That dog would agree to be buried with the slaves at George Washington's Mount Vernon estate. Will you stop it? Are you kidding me? Will you stop it? Are you kidding me? You can't just make stuff up. Are you kidding me? I'm just asking because... Don't. I'm just asking because that's exactly what he's going to say. No. No, he isn't. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Holy crap. That's ridiculous, though. Well, I got that piece of audio coming up next. No. Where I'm from, a retarded guy could never have this much fun. It's Mikey. Rock 105.3. Mossy Nissan presents Tales of the Titan. My son Joey and I were out at the dunes in Glamis when we spotted this family bottomed out on a sand dune in their Chevy Silverado. My Nissan Titan had higher clearance than the Chevy, so I just hooked up some towing cables and I pulled him right off of that dune. I was proud of my Titan's V8, and Joey was proud of his old man.
And as we drove that Titan off into the sunset, my wife called and asked me to pick up a few groceries. And I said, okay, honey. And now, a love letter to the state of California from GEICO. And I become into a toad-like creature. Do you have any advice for me? Yes, I do. What would that be? Put urine on it. Okay. The Mikey Show continues. I'm on the rock. Work that doesn't even exist anymore. It's the story of two brothers. Yes.
with the death of their father and trying to raise their two younger brothers on their own. Or is a crowd in Dawson's River? Welcome back. It's 702. The parent company of Legoland announced that they will build an aquarium right next to the Carlsbad theme park. The NFL denies Pac-Man Jones reinstatement. No doubt about it. Sean would watch that show. I just... Promote it. No, please. Why not? Sounds good. Season pass. That's right. As some of you know, some of you don't know, Sean watches everything. Yes. Every show on TV, the guy watches it. Dog. The crazy dog. Dog's bounty hunter. I start writing it down on this little piece of paper. Okay, so I said that when we came back...
I was going to talk to you about Dog the Bounty Hunter and saying how he thought that he could make good with this situation, these racist comments that he made on his son's voicemail. By the way, they do ask him why he thinks his son would do this to him. Oh, good. We'll play that. But anyway, here is Dog trying to make amends with the world. Cut nine. And they said, well, we want to show you, dog, where we buried the slaves. And I'm like, okay, right? I know that sounds morbid, but I wanted to see that. He said, okay, there's where it's at. And there was this blank hill, right? And there were no markers at all, right? And I said to him, what do you mean? And he said, there's five families buried there. There's buried there. There's buried there. And I said, well, where's their grave markers at? And he said... You know, he said, we buried him with their feet towards the Potomac. And he said it kind of, and I was like, hey, brother, you know, watch what you talk. You know, what are you saying? Because I was getting a little aggravated that he was talking stink like that. He said, no, dog. He said, the black people back then, when they died, they wanted their feet buried towards the Potomac so they could walk over the river when they passed away back to Africa. And I thought, oh, my God, there's not a marker in there.
There's not a marker on the grave. Pause. I'm really confused about what he's pretending to be offended by. Like it was disrespectful the way that they were buried. He thought that the guy was making it like they were buried in a disrespectful manner. Like Dog didn't quite understand it, but he thought it was disrespectful. He was talking stink. And Dog was like, brother, don't be talking stink. But then he found out it was beautiful. Oh, finally. Okay. On pause. I have a hard problem being some part Native American, being a Christian. Do you get burned? Do you get cremated? Do you get let the sharks eat you? How do you die? I told the Lord, and two Catholic ladies own that property, so I've already made phone calls. Yeah, but two minutes, what are you going to do? I'm going to be buried right in that center.
You've made a deal to do that? I'm making a deal. She told me, dog, absolutely. I want to know at least what is some of their first names. And I want to be buried right where they're at. Because I will never be forgiven as I'm alive. And you and I know that. You mean for this incident? For this incident. I don't think you'll be forgiven. Listen, being alive, is there any words I can say? Someone is still always going to hate me. But they'll be able to say forever and ever, dog is sorry. come someday to their children will come to their say why is dog buried there why is that white man lay there and they'll be able to say because that white man made a terrible mistake and he requested that hey dog if you're there pick up bro i gotta talk to you hey what's up brother hey man uh you know we've been friends a long time i just want to give you some advice dude okay go ahead hey don't i've been watching tv dude you're overdoing it what do you You're talking stink. You know me for a long time, right, brother? Yeah. But you know how much I love the blacks. Dude, but I'm just saying, you're making it seem weird. My boat.
that I have right here at the pier is the Amistad. You know how much I love them. You know I love them. What do you mean? That's what I mean. I don't get it. What are you talking about? I love the blacks. I named it Amistad. You've been on the Amistad before. We went out fishing, deep sea fishing. Dude, are you going on Larry King tonight? Yeah, it's going to be great. Don't. Cancel it. Why, brother? Because you just said that you got the Amistad or something. That's on my boat. I named it after the... Don't say that, bro. I love the blacks. Don't say I love the blacks on TV. I love the colored. What is the deal? What is the deal? Cock and stink. Wow. The dog's overdoing it a little bit. A little bit. Well, he was overdoing... This is his... This is his nature. When it first happened, he overdid it by having his black pastor say a few words for him. Now he's overdoing it by saying he'll be buried with the slaves. It's dog. That's so disrespectful. Yeah. Dude. Yeah, like what you're going through right now, dog, is on the same level as what the slaves went through. Oh my gosh. These things that you just said.
These are things that have not occurred to him. That's why I said, when we were in commercial, I said to Eddie and Sky, I go, do you think that this guy has people? And Eddie's like, oh, dude's from Hawaii. He lives in Hawaii. I don't think he does. And I said, I think his people might be like his wife. Or like one of the cons he busted that he's trying to help now by giving him a job. Yeah, that's his publicist. I don't know much about Dog. All that I've observed over this period of time that we've been talking about him is he sounds like a hillbilly. He sounds like a hillbilly from Hawaii. I think he's originally from Colorado. He sounds like a hillbilly. You can be from Alaska and sound like a hillbilly. Dude sounds like a hillbilly. WT. And he just doesn't sound like a very bright guy. No, not so much. Okay, so they asked him, why would your son do this to you? Cut three. How old is this conversation? This conversation was done in March, so eight months old. And how much did they pay your son for this? Well, I think they gave him $15,000. That's alleged rumor. Why would your son do this to you?
You know, I don't know. I mean, I guess I would say I've been to prison and I wouldn't do this to my father. I don't know why he would do it unless, you know, there's some kind of habit or something he needs the money for. Absolutely drugs. That's the reason. Now, something came into his brain and he knew what the answer to the question was. Why would he do this to you? And it came into his brain exactly why he did it to him. And then you hear him just start to ramble. And most people, it just flies right over. But I observed. What he said was, I've been to prison. I don't know. I blah, blah, blah. And I think most people would be like, you heard it, but it didn't really compute. The rumor is that he was in jail, that his son was in jail or in prison, and Dog wouldn't bail him out. And that the son was upset about it. Now, obviously, that in and of itself is not enough to do this to your dad. It's probably a long history of being the other guy for this son, for not being the one on TV, for not being, you know what I mean? For being second fiddle. They have a tumultuous relationship. And I think there's like, a dog has like nine kids, I believe it is. And so we've heard some of the other kids speak out in the past about.
what their who and what their father was growing up and you know because obviously before he went to jail and cleaned up his life he was a pretty bad guy right you know right well let's play the clip again because you hear him thinking out loud that's fascinating cut it play it again How old is this conversation? This conversation was done in March, so eight months old. Okay, and how much did they pay your son for this? Well, I think they gave him $15,000. That's alleged rumor. Why would your son do this to you? Oh, I mean, I guess I would say I've been to prison and I wouldn't do this to my father. I don't know why he would do it unless, you know, there's some kind of habit or something he needs the money for. Habit, drugs? Well, absolutely drugs. That's the reason Tucker went to prison in the beginning. Cut five. So first of all, I owe Monika Tucker an apology. My son knows my heart. Second of all, of course, all black people in America, I owe an apology to. Whether how dark I think I am, I cannot say that word. The rest of the people, whether they're black or not in America, an apology because people look up to me. I've learned a lesson. All my lessons I've learned in my life have been the hard way. I guess I wouldn't learn them.
This is one of the hardest lessons I've ever learned in my life, even facing death. If I could kill myself and people would forgive me, I would do that. I said on the way here, I hope no one died thinking I meant that word before I got here. I think they show him a tape of this girl that he's talking, you know, his son's girlfriend. I think they show him a tape of her and he like, you know, I'm reading it now. I'm not really sure what to make of it. watches a tape of the girl he was speaking about in his racist tirade. So I guess he's watching her and then responding to it. Cut eight. I believe that Dwayne is a racist because I've heard many times what he says about me. Not just this one time, but a lot of things he says and a lot of things he does. I think it was good for Amy to take him off the air because he portrays to be a role model and he's not.
He's the exact opposite. I want to take this moment out to say that I've never been in any trouble, so I really don't get you judging my character. You've never met me. I have never met her. She's a little girl. I didn't know that. I never know what she was like. Eddie can't handle it. When he hears people cry, it makes them laugh. You started to talk to her earlier. Do you want to say anything to her? Well, I like to say, you know, I'm so sorry. I am so sorry. I like that. He's very sorry. Listen, when Eddie hears someone cry, sometimes it makes him laugh. Oh, but the guy's heart broken. Oh, yeah, right. I'm sure. He didn't know she was a cute little girl. It sounds to me. Yeah, he shouldn't have used that word because he didn't know she was attractive. But he uses that word in love, so that doesn't even make sense. This is kind of something that you said the other day. What? I believe that for dog, there's black people and then there's N-words. Yep. What?
Wow. That's the deal. And he likes black people. Wow. He doesn't like N-words. That is interesting. Likes black people. Like, you know, they're pretty cool. I mean, my pastor's a black person. Right. But N-words. Oh, man. I mean, get him away from me. That, I think, is his deal. We'll be back. The Mikey Show at rock1053.com. Are you itching for a new car before the holidays? They got really great phones, and they do not charge you for your first month of service. You've been hearing us talk about it here on the Mikey Show for a while, so if you're fed up with whatever your cell phone company is, and they got you locked in a contract, as soon as you can get out of it, go to Cricket. No more contracts. I can't wait until my husband's contract with another wireless company expires. When we agreed to be on board with Cricut after finding out what an awesome company they are, I got a Cricut phone. But my husband is still stuck in our old plan. The bill just came, and with all the calling, with the fires and all this and that, the bill was double. $150. Really? For one month. I was livid. Really? Yeah. And I'm thinking, you know what?
At this point, we might as well just sign up for Cricket, throw away the old phone, and just wait it out and let it expire because I was so pissed yesterday. Tell people how they can get a hold of Cricket online. Yeah, check out their website. It has all the details. It's mycricket.com slash San Diego. The New York Post says that American Idol has changed their rules for this season and that contestants will be allowed to play the guitar. This is pretty cool. The Padres' Greg Maddox, he broke a record by winning his 17th gold glove. Really? Yeah. This song reminds me of Dallas.
Yeah, this song probably came out in the last year. And sometimes songs will come out that remind me of places, and I don't really know why. Like a vibe? Yeah, let's say, got a vibe. Like we lived in Rochester, I lived in San Luis Obispo, and sometimes I'll hear songs that'll come out that'll remind me of the vibe. And I don't know why this song, for whatever reason, reminds me of living in Dallas. This song isn't drunk enough for me to remind me of Dallas. Your troubles fall by. It is time to do something called Cheater's Hotel. Everybody take it easy. Whoa, whoa. Dude, it's too early. Everybody just calm down. It's too early. You just like threw it right in my face. I know it. Yeah, I've got a black eye now. I know it. Oh my gosh. I know you guys would have preferred to put on your Kevlar jackets before I said that. Like we just busted into a crack house with like no protection. Exactly. Well.
Basically, Cheaters Hotel is, we have a space on our website. If you go to MikeyShow.com, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. If you suspect that your husband or your wife or your boyfriend or girlfriend are cheating on you and being unfaithful, you go to that spot on the website, you tell us about it, and each week we pick somebody and we do Cheaters Hotel. The idea is that we call, we say that we're calling from a hotel here in San Diego. And that we're going to give them a night stay, that we're going to give them a gift basket with their name on it and the name of their guest. That's where we find out. When we ask, what name would you like us to put on the card for your gift basket? If they say the name of their significant other, everything's okay. And I would say that happens like 40% of the time. Sometimes. 30? 50? 100% of the time they're not cheating. No, no. I was thinking lower. Yeah, I was thinking like 25. 25% of the time? Yeah. I'm trying to have wishful thinking. Yeah. And is it me or has Cheaters Hotel been really weird lately? Yeah. What was last week that was so bizarre? The crazy stalker thing. The girl that wasn't even her boyfriend or girlfriend. Yeah, a girl wrote us an email and we called her boyfriend to see if he was cheating and he's like, we've
gone out twice. We've gone out twice. She's crazy. She was all worried because he never contacted her when he evacuated and we felt so bad for her and he was such a jerk. Crazy lady. And he told her on the phone he was like, you have to stop calling me. And she was going to go to his work. I wonder what happened. Yeah, we never heard from him. Okay, this time we got an email from a guy. Just so people know, let you into my world. It's always creepier for me when it's a guy because I've been cheated on. And so it's creepier for me when it's a guy. Like, it doesn't matter. I'm married now. I'm in love with my wife. I have a little boy. But for whatever reason, when I hear guys getting cheated on and that moment you hear the girl say the different name, it always brings back those memories, man. Well, yeah, women are much more awful. True, true. More demonic. That's not true. That's not true. That's very true. You're ridiculous. P1 Aaron, are you there? No. Hello? Hey, Aaron. How are you, man? I'm not sure, really. Yeah, I'm betting you're not sure. It's okay, buddy. Hear that sound in his voice? That's what I'm talking about. Oh, yeah. It's the worst sound ever. Aaron, how old are you? How old are you, Aaron? I'm 28. All right. And what? Is this your husband? I mean, is this your... It's getting really weird. It's getting really weird. Is this your girlfriend or wife? It's my girlfriend. Girlfriend.
What is her name? Her name's Kira. That's a nice name. Beautiful name. Yeah, she's great. Too bad she's a whore. Eddie! Eddie, what if she's not cheating? What if she's not cheating? You just called his lady a whore. I can feel it. He has the right to beat her. I can feel it. Eddie, if she's not cheating, you're going to feel awful. I'll take it back. I'm sorry. But I know she is. Unbelievable. I apologize for Eddie and his filthy mouth. I'm with you, bro. Aaron, how old is Kira? He's 27. Ugh. Stop it, Eddie. How long have you been dating, Aaron? Um, I guess it's coming up on two years. Eddie, what do you mean to yell? I'm telling you. Oh my gosh, Eddie. You know how you get a vibe? Yes. But where are you getting the vibe from? I can hear it in his voice, man. You sound like he doesn't know. I'm telling you right now, Eddie just gave me the vibe that she's not cheating and that he's going to be like, okay, I'm sorry. Right? No.
Okay, so Aaron, why do you think that Kira's cheating on you? Well, you know, she's been staying late at work a lot the last couple months. Hang on, Aaron. Let's take it one at a time. Let's talk about that. What time did she used to come home, and what time is she coming home now? She gets off at 5 and gets home anywhere between 5.30 and 6. And what's happening now? Now she's getting home like 8.00. Okay, but what is she saying about it? What is she telling you? Well, I asked her, and she said she's just working late at work. She's got a big project, and she's got to work, and then, you know, I'm like, okay, but I just, I don't know. It seems weird, you know? Okay, is there anybody in this room that doesn't agree that this happens, man? You've got to work sometimes. Yeah, definitely. We do agree on that. Is there more to it? Go ahead. two of the last three weekends, and she's never worked a weekend since I've known her. It's the same job since I've known her. Is she working, like, solo with the project? No, she works with a few people, she says. I mean, I don't know. But she works in an office with a few people and her boss. I think she's cheating with her boss. Why do you think that? Because I've met him and he's hot? He's real sexy. He's one of those guys, you know? And I just don't trust him, and I just...
Something seems not right. I asked her and she says, I'm crazy. What do you mean when you say he's one of those guys? He's one of those ladies guys. He's early 30s, single. Douchebaggy. Got a lot of money. What does he look like? I don't know. I'm picturing Pat Riley from the Lakers. I'm picturing Pat Riley from the Lakers. To each their own. I'm picturing the guy that played Superman named Dean. Dean Cain. I'm picturing Dean Cain. I'm picturing something close to that. That's a better visual. That's bad. That is not good. That's handsome. I mean, I think any of us would go out with that guy. I would cheat. I have a question. Yeah. And I don't mean to pry and you don't have to answer because this may be a little too personal for you, but in Cheaters Hotels in the past, when the person has been cheating, there has been a big drop-off in their intimate relationship. Has that changed? Yeah. That has?
Oh, yeah, our sex life has not been the same the last few months. I mean, we're just not doing it as much. She's always tired. Like I said, she worked two weekends, and that's our biggest time together. That's not good. I'm still interested what, I mean, beyond the boss being attractive, I'm still interested in, well, what's giving you the vibe? I mean, hey, vibes are vibes. When you get them, you get them, but I'm curious what it is. Well, it's kind of the way she answers when I ask. why she's so late and the weekend she works. She's kind of short and quick with her answer and kind of changes the subject. I've known her for over two years now, and I don't know. I mean, I kind of know her in something different. Have you ever asked her specifically about different people that she works with, like different guys in particular? Well, I asked her about her boss, because I don't... I think, I mean, and she just came out and said, it's my boss. I have to work with him. Hey, what's the boss's name, first name only? David. Okay. So you have a feeling about him, and you've asked specifically about him. Yep, I did. I did. I asked her the last time she worked over the weekend, and she just said it's a big project and that I'm insecure and, you know, turned it around on me and tried to make me feel bad. All right. Aaron. I am on the fence on this one. Aaron, we're going to take a break. By the way, Zeth, I am me, and says he gets more of a Christian Bale and American Psycho kind of vibe.
That's really weird. Okay. We're going to take a break. When we come back, Aaron, we're going to call your girlfriend, Kira. Kira, yeah. We're going to ask Kira if she would like to accept this night stay at this hotel, and we are going to offer her a gift basket. And it's a fictitious hotel. It doesn't exist. and I'm going to call as a representative from the place, tell her that somebody gave her a free night stay, and tell her she gets a free gift basket, and we're going to ask her what name she wants us to put on the card. Hopefully she will say Aaron. Right. Hopefully she will not say another guy's name. What if she says Dean Cain? If she says Dean Cain, she's cheating with Dean Cain. That would suck. That would be bad. And in that case, Skye does not blame her. Yeah, I support that. Is there any other guy? First names only. Her boss's name is David. Is there any other guys that you would suspect? No, I mean, nothing I can think of offhand. I just really think they're doing it. Wow. Goodness. If they're not, he's going to feel like such a... You're going to feel like a... I hope. I hope they're not. If it is your name, Aaron, I'm going to tell you right now, you got to...
A lot of work to do. Lots of flowers to buy. Well, not just that. I mean it in himself. I hope I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong. And I will make it up to him. A little self-esteem. Listen, I understand what you're saying, Skye. Like, he needs a lot of making up to do with her. Like, I'm sorry I did this. But he's got a lot of work to do with himself. Yeah, I get you. If she says his name. And I hope you realize that, Erin. If she says your name, you've got to kind of figure out, like, she's not doing anything wrong. What's going on with me? You understand? Okay, so let's do this. We'll take a quick time out. Eddie. I do. You really do? I do. You're not doing a bit. No, I'm not. I get a weird, immediately got a vibe and a sense that this guy, there's something going on. We'll call Kira next. Hang on the line, okay? Yeah, thanks. It's Cheaters Hotel. We'll call her. Let it go. It's Mikey. The Mikey Show is on. Get a free lift ticket to Mountain High Resort this weekend only at the Fairgrounds. Not much. Look, I switched over to AIS yesterday, and these guys saved me $296 a month in car insurance. And now they dropped it down to practically $150 a month. And I had SR-22 from a DUI. Ooh, and they still did that for you? Absolutely. Nice. See, that's a great thing. I cannot thank you enough. No, that's cool, dude. Don't thank me. Thank AIS, dude. Sometimes people, they hear me talking about AIS so much. They don't realize that there are real people out there that are saving the dough, and you're one of them. Absolutely. Because AIS is like a broker. Yeah, I didn't even realize that they were a brokerage, so that's where it really surprised me. It's awesome. All right, here's the phone number, 1-800-777-4AIS. That's 1-800-777-4247. Thank you, dude. I appreciate the phone call. Hey, no problem, Mikey. All right, man. We'll see you. Now more of the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. Guy like me likes toys. Eddie. Eddie. Yes. You can be the lead singer of Maroon 5 for one tour during next summer. You know, summer 08. Uh-huh. You can be him. Okay. But you have to have a lazy left eye. Yeah. Okay, how about this? How about this? You can be Adam What's-His-Name, the lead singer in Maroon 5, all next season on a summer tour, but on your left hand, the only thing on your left hand is a thumb. Okay. Really? Well, I'm still going to get play. Yeah, but you're going to look kind of, you know. I don't care. Really? I'm still going to get play.
It's going to look funky, dude. When you're telling the audience, when you're like, raise your hand in the air, come on, sing with me. It's going to be all straight. Like you just don't care. They signed Coy Detmer. Apparently Craig Willihan not available. Can we just move on to other stuff? We'll just do P1 trivia. No, we got to get some closure on this one, Mike. I don't like Cheaters Hotel. I do this because listeners love it. I'm being honest. Yeah, it makes my tummy very uncomfortable. We're doing a good service. It creeps me out, bro. Yeah. Kira right now, for those of you that were not listening before we went to the break. Erin is 28 years old. His girlfriend, Kira, is 27. They've been dating two years. Erin's suspicious of David, her boss.
He thinks that she's cheating on him. Eddie, by the way, is completely sold on the fact that she is cheating. I told him before we went to the break, I don't know, maybe she is, maybe she isn't. I'm saying that if she is not cheating, I think that Aaron needs to take a good look at himself and figure out why he's getting these thoughts. But we are going to call Kira now, and I'm going to offer her a night stay at a fictitious hotel. I'm going to offer her a gift basket. I'm going to ask her what name she wants to put on the gift basket and the whole deal, okay? Yeah. If she says your name, Aaron, you're probably good to go. If she does not say your name, at that point, you are free to speak, and I'm going to let her know that we're on the radio. But I'm going to ask you to watch your language, okay? Oh, okay, yeah. We've been burned before. You know, I got to tell you, this Orion Hotel sounds really nice. It does. It's too bad it has so many cheaters staying there. But, I mean, I think it sounds wonderful. That is true. I mean, with the whole gift basket and everything. I love gift baskets. Lovely. Yeah. All right. Hang on, Erin. I'm going to call her right now, but I need you to be real quiet, okay? Okay. Morning. Is Kira in, please? Yeah, this is Kira.
Hi, Karen. My name's Steve, and I'm calling from the Orion Hotel, where San Diego's newest premier high-rise hotel. We're located in the heart of the gas lamp. And the reason that I'm calling you this morning is to let you know that someone has entered you into a drawing that allows you to spend one evening for free in the hotel, courtesy of Orion Promotions. And I wanted to say congratulations. I think maybe you have the wrong number. I put my number on that do not call list thing, so I'm not supposed to get calls like this. Actually, the reason that you're getting the call is because it was a friend of yours, and at the time of your check-in, you'll find out which friend put your name in. It's not a solicitation in terms of telemarketing. There's no obligation for you. You don't have to purchase anything at this time, and so you don't have to worry about spending any money. And I'm not going to get junk mail or phone calls? You're not going to get junk mail. You're not going to be put on any other lists. The only thing that we need to let you know and that we're required to let you know is that at the time of check-in, you will have to leave a credit card for room incidentals, like the mini bar, phone charges, and stuff like that. But you will not pay any tax on the room and you will not pay for the room itself. If you use nothing, you're charged nothing. But if you use the phone or anything in the mini bar, then you'll be charged for room incidentals.
And that's the only, like, if I use a bar of soap, I'm not going to get charged for a bar of soap. It's only for the extra stuff. Exactly. Exactly. So it's only the extra items that you would take or purchase from the hotel itself. So there will be absolutely no charge. And the other cool thing is that you have up to 30 days to pick the night of your stay. Other than that, you got a free room, courtesy of a friend of yours, that you'll find out whatever friend put your name in this the night that you check in. But other than that, you got a free room courtesy of the Orion Hotel. And we also have something else that we'd like to throw into it. We're going to give you a gift basket. It's a complimentary gift basket. And the night that you check in for your stay, you're going to receive this gift basket. It'll be left in your room. It includes strawberries and champagne and a couple of other items in the basket. And we're going to emboss your name onto a thank you card when you arrive. You're just giving this away. We're giving it away as a promotion with Orion Promotions, and we only give away a few of these a year, and you were one of the lucky people that won. You got a nice friend that put your name in there. That's actually pretty cool. It's actually really good. People that have done it in the past really enjoy it, and our hope is that you return to the Orion whenever you're thinking about hotel needs in downtown San Diego the next time.
So basically all we need to do is we need to put your name. We already have your name. We're going to put your name on the gift basket. Basically all we need to do is get the name of your guest and we'll put the name of your guest on the card as well. And hopefully you enjoy a fantastic night in the gas lamp at the Orion. Okay. That sounds cool. It sounds cool. Whose name can we put on the card with your name? That would be David. All right, I need to let you know, Kira, that you're on the radio right now. This is Mikey at Rock 105.3, and I need to let you know that your boyfriend Aaron is on the phone. This isn't really Orion Promotions. It's Mikey from The Mikey Show, and you're on the radio. I knew it. What are you doing? Aaron? What are you doing? I knew it. I knew you and David were doing it. I knew it. Whoa. Aaron wrote us an email, Kira. Aaron wrote us an email. He said that he thought... that you were cheating. He said to us on the radio this morning, he thought you were cheating with your boss, David. I'm really disappointed in you because that is... You're disappointed in me. Oh, thanks. I'm not screwing my boss. I told you, I think that if this is really a problem for you, we should go to couples therapy. Like, if you're having problems and you can't... A problem that you're sleeping with your boss? Yeah. I would have a problem with that. Kira, why did you give a name other than your boyfriend Aaron's name?
into going to this, whatever it's called, Oblivion Hotel or whatever. I was going to give it to my boss. I just had to hit the button. I think he said bullcrap. Are you sure? Well, yeah. I'm not taking a chance. Hey, I want to remind you guys to please watch your language. Here, that is such bull. I can't believe you. I mean, first off, if I want a weekend away somewhere, you know who I take? Immediately, you. But you don't think of me first. You think of David. Yeah, I don't know if the delay cut it off or not, but Kira claimed she was going to give it as a gift to her boss, as a thank you for the big project. Yeah, and it's not a weekend away. I mean, it's... But wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Yeah. If you were going to give it to David, like you said, your name's still on the thing. It's you and David. You're lying. Like, isn't that... Kira, why... Kira, why... You're sleeping with David. Kira. No, like... Kira. trying to thank him for giving me an opportunity i mean he could have chosen someone else kira but eddie's right you did say that you know we did tell you that it was going to be your name on the card and i asked you who's you know what other name you would like put on the card and you said david you never at any point said you never at any point asked me you never at any point asked
Can I give this away to someone else? Because when you check in, you have to check in. She won. Plus, Kira, you were, like, really excited. Like, when you were answering, like, you were really stoked to go. So how can you say that you were going to give the... I mean, it sounded like something really cool. So why wouldn't you take your boyfriend there? Oh, boy. You know what I mean, Kira? Please stop lying to me and just tell me the truth. Please. Aaron, we've had this... Justin, if you're having trust issues, then we need to go to couples there. You're sleeping with your boss. Of course I'm having trouble. Holy crap. That's not what's going on here. I've been working a lot. I admit that. And I'm sorry. I haven't had as much time for you as I usually do. But I'm trying to, like, move forward in the world. You know? And if I bring my brother's help for you, then I'm something that maybe someone can help us with. Do you want to move forward with me in your life or what? Aaron, don't even go there, bro. Oh, dead silence. Kira, speak up. She should have answered immediately. Yeah, she should have. But he shouldn't even be asking that question. Right. Is the special project boning? Yes, is it a sex ed project? Or what do we got? I think this is completely out of hand. I'm being accused of things that you have no right to say about me. I work really hard. I want to give my boss a thank you.
I don't understand. Like, why is this all being thrown in my face like I'm a bad person? If you had more time with your boss, David, than you do with me, okay? And now you want to go away with him to a hotel. That is not what I want to do. I want to give him this oblivion package. It's a steal, Ryan. It's a thank you. Aaron, I'm going to tell you right now, I can hear a manipulation going on, and I really hope that you take some time with it and don't allow it. Don't allow yourself to be manipulated. And Kira... I told you, I told you I felt it. Kira, you honestly might consider at some point in the next few hours, privately, off the air, letting Aaron know what's really going on.
I mean, thank you. I just let all of you really know what's really going on. But Kira, so he asked you, do you want to move forward with me? And you didn't answer. So this is my interpretation. Okay, this is just what I'm seeing. I'm not saying this is the truth. This is what I'm seeing. That you don't really want to be in this relationship and you want to pursue something with somebody else. So this is a great time just to come clean and do that. You'll be happier. He'll be happier in the long run. Just... Just do it, you know? Stop lying to me. Stop lying to me. Maybe that's not what's really going on. And I would say... Maybe what's going on is that... Maybe what's going on, Kira, maybe what's going on is that Aaron fills a big part of your life with his emotional giving to you. Convenience. Right. And this guy at work is something else that you are attracted to. And you're trying to have both. You're trying to have your cake and then eat it too. Yes, I've heard that before. Erin, I am very sorry. Thank you. You're welcome, man. I'm going to let you go. I'll talk to you later. Why don't you guys call each other? Call each other right now. That was bad. I really hate that. That was bad. I don't understand the not just...
Coming clean. Just say it, man. Yeah. Because it is exactly what I said. It's people that they want to have both things. Absolutely. Well, and when you're caught, I think a lot of people's instinct is to, you know, lie and try and get out of it. Right. Whatever. P1, Dean Cain is on the line. Oh, no. Oh, no. I knew it was you, you bastard. Dean, are you there? Hey, how you doing? First off, you're quick on the draw. I'm calling that out. I just want to say I've been cheating on before, and I've been the one to be with a girl. And I just got to say that it's very typical of women only. Men don't do it. It's very typical of women to go on the defensive like that and really try to turn the tables. I think he's right.
I think that when we busted guys, guys just go, duh. Oh, man, I'm caught. We're dumb. Women, all the time. All the time, women only. You're making very bold statements, sir. True. Women try to, women do, women more often than not when we've done this, women try to manipulate their way out of it. Like, turn it around. Turn it around. Well, guys, I've done that too. How could you? I can't do it. Honestly, I can't remember. I mean, I'm sure that a guy has. Yeah. I can't remember. It's more typical in women. That's my point. I've seen it on both sides of the fence, and it makes them look stupid. Yeah, it's a horrible tactic. P1 Alana, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What did you want to say? I just wanted to say that it sounds like she's trying to solve the situation, because I have a sales background, and I could flip the situation on a dime. So I think that's what she's trying to do, too. She got caught, and so she's like, oh, I was just trying to say thank you for it, so she wouldn't get in trouble. She was embarrassed that it was even on the radio, because just in her voice. She's like, what? Wait, I'm on the radio? And she was trying to think real fast, like, what am I going to say? And then she spit that back out. Is there any part of anybody that thinks on a wild, like, even 1% chance?
she really was going to give it to her. No way. And the reason why is because if she really did think, Oh, you know what? I'm going to give this to my boss. She would have asked you, can I transfer this? Or do I have to be there at check-in or something? Cause you know, you have those thoughts when you go, Oh yeah, I'm not going to use it, but I'll give it away. Yeah. I had a tiny, I was holding out a tiny bit of hope for her in the beginning that maybe that really could have been the case. But then when he said to her, do you want to move forward in this relationship? And she didn't answer. Come on. Talk me through it though, that doing this is better for people than not, you know, right? I mean, how much more time would Aaron have wasted with her until, I mean, the truth is going to come out sooner or later. He could have wasted another year of his life with that woman. You saved his life. Well, wait, I don't know. Congratulations. You're a hero, Mike. You're a hero. I'm a hero. Let it roll right off your shoulder, don't you know? It's Mikey. On The Rock. The Mikey Show's on. You took a second, you thought about it. Sheboygan. Uh-huh. Rock 105.3. Let's discuss. Oh. Get rid of him. Stop. My wife just instant messaged me. It's 8.03. My wife just instant messaged me and she said that... She thinks that something's wrong with Jules. The only cat that I like. We have three cats. The only one that I like is Jules. And she said that he jumped into Jake's crib and he peed. Which he never does that. And it infuriated her. So while she was putting the bedding from his crib into the washer, Jules jumped into the laundry basket and peed.
And Sky said, well, it sounds like he's, it's Jake's stuff. Yeah, I mean, that seems, I mean, I'm not an expert on cats or anything, but I know they mark their territory. And, you know, Jake is still fairly new to the household. And it sounds like the cats are, or that cat is, you know, pretty jealous. I wonder if it's possible that he notices that he doesn't, oh no, Rebecca said he's licking his dealio. Oh. Jules is licking his junk. Like more than normal, I'm assuming, if she's mentioning it. Yeah, I mean, we don't ever notice him. I know he does. I'm sure they do because they're cats. Yeah, because I know that if there's a urinary tract infection, cats will urinate in weird places and stuff. But it's just odd, the choice of jumping in the crib. She just said when he goes, it's just a tiny bit. Oh, yeah. So maybe he's got an infection. Yeah. Get rid of it. But it's just odd. Better be safe than sorry. But it is kind of odd that, you know, out of all the places. Yeah, yeah. But now that I'm hearing the, he's just doing it a little bit and he's, you know. Coyote trail mix. Does he normally jump in Jake's crib? Never. Ever. You know, I think that he's. Or maybe it's a signal to you guys. Like, hey, I know the little one who sleeps here gets attention when something's wrong. Oh, yeah. Cats are that smart. Something's wrong with me. Pay attention.
Well, not only that, but he's really stupid. Well, then you really should. Put it down. Did I mention that Jules is really stupid? We hate you! Yeah, definitely see the vet. Aw, poor Blue. I'm telling you, man. I can't tell you how much... Get Rebecca on the phone. Let's ask her how much she spent on Jules. Just Jules. Because the other ones... They don't have, never have issues. Well, I take that back. There was something wrong with Ginger's vagina. For real, she had to take her to the vet and they had to do like an operation because there was something wrong with her. Interesting. That's the only thing though. Like she's never had any other issues except that she's obese. Did she ever have cat gastric bypass? She did not. She should. She should. I don't know if they do that. The band. Hello, my love.
How much do you think that you've spent on Jules since you had him as a kitten? Probably close to about $4,000. Oh. Over the years. Buy a small country for that. What was the most expensive thing? Oh, for sure. When he had this thing where he had some sort of stones and they were creating a blockage. Oh. in his urinary tract, and he went into kidney failure, and he almost died. It was really, really scary, and it was really scary. Oh, yeah. If there's problems, you know, previous problems with the urinary tract, then... Yeah, oh, definitely. He's had a history of it. They had to, like, they basically had to put him on, like, kidney dialysis. Poor little guy. They wheeled in a little machine. I know. And it's a little tiny dialysis machine. You know.
I think he was there for over a week. It was very, very expensive. Like that one alone was probably like $2,500 or something like that. Hold the plug. Now, I just read online that sometimes what helps is letting them go back into the wild to try to figure it out. Specifically Coyote Canyon. Well, they say the running. You love Jules. Stop it. No, I do. I like them. I hope it's not that expensive kidney problem. I hope not either. I definitely think something's wrong with him, though, because it's just, you know, when he first did that thing in Jake's crib, I was so mad. Oh, yeah. And then when I saw the other stuff that was going on, I was like, oh, no, I think he's sick. It's time to get rid of him. I got to try to figure out how I'm going to get him to the vet and, you know, have Jake for his nap and all that. Oh, boy. Why don't you call your mom or mom and dad? Yeah, I think I'll probably do that because in the meantime, I'm like, I don't really want to, you know, wait until later because if he's going around peeing all over the house, that's disgusting, you know? Yeah. And I can't watch him every single second to see where, you know, where he's going to clean it up. Can you maybe lock him in a bathroom with a litter box and food? Yeah, you know, I actually thought about that. I thought about putting him... A couple of Hemingway novels. Yeah, maybe.
A gravestone. Hey. Why don't you leave a note that, why don't you leave a pistol and a note that says it's better this way. Do the right thing. Do the right thing. That's hysterical. I know you don't have opposable thumbs, but do your best. You can figure it out. You guys are horrendous right now. I'll help you if I need to. We should consider leaving a little bottle of pills and a glass of water. A tiny noose. Yes. A little tiny kitty noose and just, yeah, attach it to the toilet, you know, flusher. Well, that might not work. Oh, yeah. Oh, we can figure something out. Yes. Put just right on a little chalkboard in the bathroom. Just put, it's quiet and quick. How about we get like the Barbie Dream Mobile and hook up something to the exhaust? All right, honey, I love you. Call me if you need me. Or not. Let me tell you something.
If it had been me that saw him urinating in my son's crib, holy Toledo. I'd come in here tomorrow with like new black cat slippers. You'd be like, oh, those are really pretty slippers. Where did you get those? My cat. Oh, they're jewels. Ridiculous cat. Slippers by jewels. I've never heard of that slipper maker. That's right. It's a new store at Mission Valley Mall. P1 Maureen. Maureen, go ahead. You're on the air. Yes. My name is Maureen. I worked as a vet assistant for three years, and it can be fatal, so it is. Oh, boy. Now you're going to scare my wife. Come on. No, I know, but it can be very, if it's caught early, it can't be treated. Maybe we ignore it. Well, what do you mean it, if it's caught early? Like what? What it? If it is what her previous cat went through, like my cat went through the same thing. It's the same cat. It's the same cat.
The cat she was talking about before is this cat. Really? See, and it can come back sometimes. Like, my cat right now is on prescription diet to stop it from happening again. But it still can, unfortunately. So, I mean, if it does continue, or if he stops urinating altogether, I would definitely, like, he'll lay down probably on the ground. meow a lot and at that point that's probably when you'd want to take him in to be seen that must be so uncomfortable he was being really weird today something to do with it yeah i mean but he was he's following me around i'm trying to get your attention hey dad i'm sick i said talk to your mother p1 lily yes mikey go ahead you're on the air your cat is sick and it's While you are making fun, your cat has the kidney stones again, I'm telling you. Oh. And this happens. Do you have x-ray vision? Like, how do you know that? Well, it's an educated guess. I know this because it's a disorder. It starts with an F. It's feline something. My friend's cat had it, and he stopped urinating altogether. We took him to the vet. By that time, it was too late to do anything, and he seriously died a slow and painful death.
Oh, thank you. Well, that's very uplifting. I'm so sorry, but your cat is sick. And maybe you've caught it in time, and maybe they can, you know... Or maybe not. But, you know, she's prone to him, and you know that already. He is. He is. So, we'll... Don't wait any longer. No, we're not going to wait any longer. That's your favorite kitty. Thank you very much. Thank you. You're telling me a big fat line. Now, I'm going... He was acting really weird yesterday. He was carrying around a cigar and telling rabbi jokes. So crazy. Don't you have a bigger catfish to fry? Isn't funny. Catastrophe. Listen. We're going to try to fix him up. Take him to the vet. We'll fix it. Don't worry, honey. He's going to be fine. Eddie, don't shake your head no. I never would. Hey, when we come back, when we come back, you know, Dwayne Johnson, the rock, he's dating a new chick. She's a celebrity and she's 23 years old. Oh, I smell what he's cooking. I'll tell you, I'll tell you what, I'll tell you who this celebrity is when we come back. Mikey.

Please listen carefully to this important free service announcement as it may benefit both you and your car. For over a decade now, every new VW has come with a HEPA smoke and pollen filter which cleans the air you and your passengers breathe while you drive. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Heavy fog has been keeping the commute pretty slow here this morning. Northbound side of the 805 out of the South Bay. Still a slow ride then from Plaza Boulevard. Solid all the way in the Mission Valley. Now it's heading over the 8 Freeway Mission Valley again. Up to around Mesa College. Really gets tough though. Right around the 163. And then from there it crawls up towards Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. Northbound 15 coming out of City Heights. An accident just before University Avenue is adding to the slow ride there. That continues into Murphy Canyon to a second crash near Arrow Drive even farther north. Watch for a fender bender northbound 15 just before Poway Road. That five freeway is also bunching up out of the South Bay into National City. Then again into downtown. One more time out of Old Town into Mission Bay. East County commute, west 94, just a bit of a delay at the 805. More breaklights from 32nd Street now into downtown. The westbound 8 is pretty tough here as well coming out of La Mesa. Backs up right around Jackson Drive. From there, it struggles pretty solid all the way to Mission Center Road in Mission Valley now. And your North County commute, southbound 15. Stays very tough off to 78 through West Condito, over Lake Hodges, down to around Bernardo Center Drive from an accident clearing there. Bunches up again from Carmel Mountain Road down to Mercy Road. Southbound 5 struggles as well here out of La Costa, solid down toward the racetrack in Del Mar. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 4053. Broadcasting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. Mikey Morning Show.
Real tasty. Yeah, real nice. Real fresh. Yeah, real fresh. You want to take a nice bite of radio? Seconds, please. KIOC San Diego's Rock. Five, three. Boom! Now, here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. Here is a dog trying to make amends with the world. Cut nine. They said, well, we want to show you, dog, where we buried the slaves. And I'm like, okay, right? He said, okay, there's where it's at. And there was this blank hill, right? And there were no markers at all, right? He said we buried him with their feet towards the Potomac, and he said it kind of, and I was like, hey, brother, you know, watch what you talk, you know. What are you saying? Because I was getting a little aggravated that he was talking stink like that. What's up, brother? What do you mean? You're talking stink. You know how much I love the blacks. I'm just saying, you're making it seem weird. My boat that I have right here at the pier is the Amistad. You know how much I love them. The Mikey Show continues.
I'm on the rock. Clip we played this morning at Dog the Bounty Hunter. Yeah, he's not making things better for himself. Welcome back. It's 820. The judge in the Brittany K. Fed custody case has ordered Brittany to pay her ex's legal bills. Hall of Fame head coach Don Shula says the Patriots deserve an asterisk for this season. Must have this drink. It's for answers. Just take your chances. Don't ask. It must be really cool having Randy Moss in your fantasy football team this year. Probably. Tom Brady, too. Yeah. One league. Tom Brady and my other league. That's pretty fun. It is. I'll tell you what, though. I got no wide receivers. I have no wide receivers. My big wide receiver this year, Chad Johnson. Awful. I don't know what happened to Chad Johnson. I don't know what happened to him. It's like he's lost his kadunkadunk. Poor guy.
I got Steve Smith, who has no quarterbacks to throw to. Isn't that terrible? It's the worst. He's so good. He's awesome. But, you know, when you have Vinny Testaverde and not even him anymore, it's bad. Yeah, who's the quarterback now? It's the undrafted free agent quarterback, Matt Moore. Huh? Yeah, he's their Carolina Panthers starting quarterback right now. Never even heard of him. So, Sherry, on The View, is she the new chick? Yeah. Is she the black gal? Yeah. Yes. She said it broke her heart when Dog the Bounty Hunter said the N-word. And I guess Whoopi wanted to know why that broke her heart. Yeah. Cut 13 for Whoopi. Why did it break your heart? Because he's human? Yeah.
I guess when, well, you know, we're all flawed. But when I look at you and you're so compassionate and you want to make a difference, and then now I hear you using the N-word, I go, how would you look at me? Because I used to look at Dog the Bounty Hunter and his family and go, they look like they could string up some black people. You met them on the wrong day. And now I look at it and go, well, maybe I'm right. Well, they look like they could string up anybody if you met them on the wrong day. But that's all. That's all. But that's over. You see what you're saying now? It's like on the one hand, you got the guy on the pedestal. On the other hand, he's a lyncher. So, I mean, this is why you can't have role models on television. Uh-huh. Still don't get a lyncher. I'm still very confused. Yeah. So you want to know who The Rock is dating? Yeah. He's dating Mandy Moore. Get out of here. No way. How old is he? 30-something? 35, I believe, The Rock. She's 23. She's very mature for her age, though. Come on. She is. Let me ask you a question. Are you very mature for your age? Me? It depends. I must force you into a yes or no answer. Are you mature for your age? I mean, on what terms are we talking? She won't answer. Well, see, the fact that she's got to go through this process. Well, because...
At my age, I'm in my career. I bought a condo. I live by myself, pay all my bills. You're talking to me about achievements. I'm asking you, are you mature for your age? Simple question. I didn't necessarily say that I'm the most mature. Oh, really? For my age, in certain ways. Well, this is another case of a movie hookup. The Rock and Mandy play each other's spouses in the upcoming movie, Southland Tales. And we all know that The Rock separated from his wife earlier this year. I like her bass. This is Mandy Moore Music. What is she? Is she a singer first and actress second or an actress first and singer second? Singer first. Singer first. I disagree. Well, oh yeah, she was originally a singer. But if you were to ask me what she is now, I would say she's an actress more now than she's a singer. Yeah, I agree with that. This is a great song, by the way. I always cry. I liked her voice better when it was called Michelle Branch. Oh! I can't control my horny level.
That is, right? The Rock says, quote, Mandy is drop-dead gorgeous. She is beautiful and sweet and tall. My kind of woman. I can't say enough great things about her. Well, everything you said was physical stuff, bro. Yeah, real sweet. I love her. She's super tall. Yeah, she's tall. She's hot. She's good-looking. And you know what I really love about her? She's really pretty. Wait. What about her personality? I didn't know she had one. Oh, come on. So the writer's strike thing, it's still going on. What shows is it affecting, Sky?
Okay, so we know like the late night TV shows have already started going into reruns, The Letterman and The Conan, because they do daily scripts. But other shows like sitcoms and dramas and stuff have stopped production. We'll still see new episodes because they have ones already pre-taped. In the can, as they say. In the can. But they have stopped production because no new scripts are coming in. So shows that have just announced they've stopped production are Desperate Housewives, Two and a Half Men, The New Adventures of the Old Christine. That's still on TV. That's a great show. Honestly, I didn't know that was on television anymore. Yeah, didn't she win an Emmy? Well, she was nominated. I don't know. Was it like Tuesdays, 3 a.m.? What's the deal? When is that on? I don't know. I have it season pass, so I don't know. The New Adventures of Old Christine. Hilarious. Terrible. What's the premise of that show? Her name is Christine, and she went through a divorce. And, you know, her and her ex-husband are, you know, living in separate households, but still raising their child together. And then her husband has just started dating this really young, hot chick named Christine. So there's the new Christine and the old Christine. So the show's about him? It's just about their whole dynamic. It's basically about Christine, you know, and their son goes to a private school and her dealing with the upscale moms when she's more.
Yeah, the old Christine dealing with the upscale moms, and then the new Christine kind of being a ditz. It's really funny. Which one's Elaine? Christine. She's the old Christine. The old one? Yeah. But other shows that have shut down production are Till Death, Back to You, The Big Bang Theory, and Rules of Engagement. Oh, that all sounds awful. I think those are all going to get canceled anyway. All of that just sounded like, if that was all put in a sandwich, I'd pass. Give me the other one. Give me number nine. That's for... It's like head cheese. Yeah, dude. It's like a haggis. Like somebody offered me a haggis in a baguette. Gross. That's gnarly. Who eats that? Rob's going to eat that on Thursday. Seriously. Like blood fish. Sounds like Rob would be taking big spoonfuls of that or playing weird music. He almost throws it up like five times. Yeah, man. He puts a big old bite of housewives in his mouth. He's like... The New Adventures of Old Christina. Let's hear them chanting and picketing. Cut 28. We write the story for Eva Longoria. What? No way. I guess that's the Desperate Housewives clip. We write the story for Eva Longoria. No, they didn't. These are writers, ladies and gentlemen. Awesome. They should be saying more. This is awful. Come on. Scott, you can't give us fake clips. We write the story for Eva Longoria.
Most creative people in Hollywood, right there. Give me a break. If I lived in L.A., I would drive by those people. You should be ashamed of yourself. You should be ashamed of saying that. That you wrote that, you new adventure at Christine. No, that's a desperate housewife. You're desperate. Oh, man. How awful that sounded. That's funny. Here's Christine. Cut 29. Our goal, obviously, is to try and resolve this as quick as possible. And if this helps to do that, then good. These issues affect the middle class of the entertainment industry. You know, we're not marching out here for millionaires. We write the story. What's a story, guys? Thank you. Not a word. Yeah. A story. You write the stuff. Yeah.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus sounded like someone's grandmother. A little bit. You know, the issue here is that... I love her. Listen to Nicolette Sheridan. Oh, boy. Cut 30. They're fighting a good fight right now, and I think they need to be acknowledged, and I hope there's going to be a quick resolution for this, because it's a frightening time going into the holidays and not having a paycheck. I know I didn't hear it right. Play it again. They're fighting a good fight right now, and I think they need to be acknowledged, and I hope there's going to be a quick resolution for this, because it's a frightening time going into the holidays and not having a paycheck. Really? So wait a minute. These writers, they're real destitute, and they're living paycheck to paycheck. They're the middle class of the entertainment industry. Yeah, which means they're the upper class of most of us. Yeah, you know how much money they make? I know. A lot. Really? Yeah. I hope they've been saving. You know what we can do?
Maybe we can watch some alternative TV since the strike. Do a little Sean TV. Sean likes watching his TV. Whatever Sean likes sounds good to me. Whatever Sean likes. Well, you know that it might be not as gay as something watched by Mikey when he's watching. You know he's standing up. This is Sean TV. I don't watch anything gay, for the record. That's not true. Name one thing. I don't watch one thing. The Bachelor. Okay. I don't watch it anymore. You could have said that and I would have said, you got me there. What do you mean you don't watch it anymore? I haven't watched The Bachelor since they dressed up like Romans. And I'm not kidding you. I saw that episode. I don't even remember what season it was. The Prince one? Yeah, the Prince one. That Prince Lorenzo. Prince of nothing. The Prince of Jersey. The Prince of Newark. Stupid.
The guy was from New Jersey. He was like a part of the Fabergé family or something. What was it? That's right. Lorenzo Fabergé. Yes. And they went and it was all in Europe, like France, which I hated from the beginning because they got like red money and stuff. It's all weird. I don't like seeing stuff I don't know. See people eating baguettes and it was just weird. And so they went to some Roman Coliseum and they made them dress up in like Roman. And I went, what's going on with this show? Just show the girls fighting. Thank you. That's all what I wanted to see was girls fight and get angry at jealousy. Girl jealousy. Listen, you can't beat this for a recipe of great television. Girls jealous over a guy they don't really like. That's compelling. Trying to win a competition. They're trying to win a contest. And they're guising it like it's about... I love them. I love him. No, I want him. No, that's not what it's about, ladies. It's just a competition between you two good-looking girls. The one that he doesn't pick, it means that you're not good enough. Yeah. And you can't have that. Something's wrong with you. You'll fight for that. To not be second best is what you'll fight for. Please don't embarrass me in front of my community I have to go home to. What was I talking about? Sean TV. Sean TV.
TV. Sean. Boy, that ADD is kicking. And you know what? I went to the ADD doctor yesterday. Oh, really? And he, okay, if I take the high enough dose of the, of the focalin, it works better, but I don't like it. So I take the lower dosage. Why don't you like it? It makes me, it makes me feel too wide awake. It makes me feel like, this is the best way I could describe it. This is the best way I could describe it because that wasn't the right way. Let me give you the best way I could describe it. The best way I could describe it is it makes me feel like if the thought came to my mind, you know, like, hey, it's time to take a nap. The answer back is, oh, no, you're not. Not for about eight days, bro. So, like, overstimulated. Yeah. Very, like, nah. But it's not a, yeah, like, nah. But it's not an amphetamine. It's not in the amphetamine family. It's like a stimulant for your brain. Now when you've got a guy like me whose brain is already going, see the idea is that it speeds your brain. If you have a brain that already works fast, the focalin makes it work faster and the idea is that it kind of gets it going normal. It gets going so fast.
you kind of get into a normal pace. And sometimes it does that. When I take the higher dosage, I shouldn't say right, the higher dosage, it does work. Is there a medium? Is there a medium? Yeah. Dosage? I think that's what I'm doing. I'm taking the medium dosage. He had me 15 milligrams. He's had me as low as five. I'm taking 10. And it's a slow release. But it drives me nuts, the word loss, like when I'm going, yeah, and my brother, Phyllis. Never met that brother. Yeah, it's because I can't remember his name. Or you can't remember just normal words. You go, oh, go to the, oh, you know, where they got the machines and your car gets clean. The car wash? Yeah, exactly, the car wash. It's like that. Like regular words, you'll forget them. And that's why you make up your own words. And that's why I kind of have my own language. Maybe that's it. You're going to be Ashley. No. Could be. Sean, what TV show? Those of you that have never heard this before, people need to know. Sean watches everything. Every television program on TV. Everyone. He watches. Pretty much.
Sean, what are you going to tell us about today? You know, it was really hard to pick. There are so many good things going on right now. This week I chose America's Most Smartest Model. Yes. Which is a reality show. Is that really the name of the show? Yeah. America's Most Smartest Model. I've never heard of it. It's a great show. It's a really good show. On what? VH1. Wow. Which, by the way, VH1, for my money right now, is making absolutely the best reality shows on television. Well, last week you had I Love New York 2. Isn't that also on VH1? It is also on VH1. Now, for those of you listening, all these shows that you hear, they're always going to be shows you've never heard of. That's the idea. And Sean is going to tell us why they're great. Go ahead, Sean. This show is, they took a bunch of models, they put them in a house together, and they're weeding them out. determining who has the most smarts and the best looks. You got to get to the smartest and the best looking ones. Pretty much. So is it the deal that they're mostly ditzes? There are some ditzes, it's true. They look really good. But some of them actually are legitimately smart. Like there's a biology major. Why do they get to be in there if they're already real smart?
Well, it's not a competition to be smart. It's a competition to find out who is the smartest and looks the best. But they do put dumb ones in there. Yes, because they look great. Okay. All right, so this week, there are always two challenges, and one is a smarts challenge, and one is a modeling challenge. This week, they had to dissect fetal pigs. What? Yes. Who knows how to do that? And they actually took them to a high school. They had a high school teacher there. And they were supposed to dissect a pig and pull out various parts and put them on like a pegboard. That's so gross. Yeah, it's really gross. So the controversy really comes in when one of the students had a female pig. They were all supposed to pull out. All these parts, including the testicles. Well, one didn't have them. The biology major went back after the contest and figured out that it actually was a male pig, and that person just did not find the testicles inside the pig. So there's a guy named Andre who's a Russian guy, and he's always mad at everything, and this is what happened. Wait, wait, wait. He's a model? Go ahead, yes. What? This is male and female models? Yeah, who's Andre? Yes. Oh. Well, there's...
Lisa, Rachel, Angela, Rachel M, Andre, who is the Soviet guy, Gaston, Jeff, Gaston, Slavko, and DJ. So it's men and women models. We're about to hear from who? We're about to hear from Lisa and Andre, who is the Soviet guy. And they're discovering that she did not find the testicles. Lisa, your pig has testicles. I'm not the one that made the mistake. The edge challenge is over, and I demand justice because the teacher made a mistake. So what do we do now? There's nothing. It's called shut your mouth and freaking go home. No, I'm challenging this. I don't think this is fair. Andre goes and tattles to the teacher that my pig has balls. I was so stoked about my beat. Now Andre and Angela are screwing it up. Wow, that sounds really good show. Good show. So the second half of the show was a modeling challenge where they had to read a script in an ice cold shower. How were you still watching it? Are you kidding me? It was great. They were fighting and yelling at each other.
Read a script in an ice-cold shower? Yeah. How is that a model? Because, Eddie, you've seen that a million times on the runway. Yeah. No, what they're doing is they're shooting a commercial for a body wash. Oh. And so they're in an ice-cold shower, and they had to perform the script. But then that becomes an actor, not a model. Hey, man, I didn't write the show. I'm sorry. I just watch it. So this guy, Vijay, was cheating by listening to all the other people practicing the script before he got it. You're not supposed to hear when other people are practicing. You're supposed to just get it. Take your 20 minutes with it and go. So a lot of the other guys were upset with DJ for eavesdropping and learning the script ahead of time. And he thought they were babies. Step it up, boys. Step it up. We would love to, but we can't when you know more than us. Okay, that was good. Can we save that clip forever? Yeah. Can we save that clip forever? Well, he wins the argument. That was a good one.
That will be a great clip on this show for when anybody's whining. Let me hear that again. Step it up, boys. Step it up. We would love to, but we can't when you know more than us. What a great clip. Wow. So there it is. America's Most Smartest Model. Sunday's on VH1. I'll see you there. Wow. That guy watches the craziest TV, man. Wait till I tell you who beat out Britney for the number one album in America. Wait till I tell you. And they beat her by almost a half a million copies. Oh! It's going to shock you when I tell you who it was. It's next. Gay Show. Why can't you just have a coat on L? He left a ticket to Mountain High Resort. This weekend only at the beer grounds. Traveling north on the 805 into the South Bay, that's starting to improve to some scattered stuff here from right around 47th Street up to around Home Avenue. Mikey Show. Dear Eddie. Featuring tough love with Eddie. I'm having some trouble with my boyfriend. Uplifting advice. Dear pig in a blanket. For folks that are feeling down. It's not the sweater that's making her look fat. It's her fat that's making her look fat. And it only happens on the Mikey Show. Welcome back. It is 855. In San Marcos, the San Alijo family was a victim twice of looting stemming from the wildfires. He really thought it was going to work, but man. The NFL denied Pac-Man Jones reinstatement. Sorry, Pac-Man. I can't believe it. It's shocking. It's so hard to believe. He's been so good. Are you guys going to go see this movie Lions for Lambs? I can't figure it out. It looks kind of boring to me. It does kind of look boring. Something about it... Well, it's got star power. I mean, Tom Cruise, Robert Redford, Meryl Streep. I mean, that's huge. I don't even know what the plot is. It's like modern day...
politics about the war and, like, I don't know. It looks boring. Robert Redford's in it. Meryl Streep's in it. Tom Cruise is in it. Oh, great. I know this Dariana. Here's Robert Redford talking about it, too. Larry King. Cut 24. What got me, and it got me fast, was here's a chance to... To have a broader look, it's not an anti-war film. It's not a film about the Iraq War, although it touches on the military's involvement in the Middle East. It's still a look at three specific areas in our society, professional areas, and what has happened to those areas and therefore the country in the last several years. Wow, that clip was boring. Can we have Ashley go this weekend, watch it? Oh my gosh, what a great idea. Good luck, Ashley. How dare you. Take your Adderall, girl. What a great idea. Ash, you've got to go watch Lions for Lambs this weekend. Who's coming with me? Nobody. I choose not to. Come with me. Should I give a quick plot outline, or do we want to just... I only have one rule, and I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. This is one rule, and you cannot break this rule. You cannot sleep during the film. I know.
I'm just letting you know. She's so bad at that. I know. Well, here's the last thing. I'm totally offended. I just don't want her to come back and go, well, the first five minutes are about, and then... I would never do the mock to ever say that to me again. Stop it. What's the matter with you? Take this crap seriously. Stop it. I tell you. I freaking like my job. Good idea. Totally reliable. Always happy. And I love war movies. Wait, that last part. Political thrillers are my thing, man. Yeah, I love stuff about the politicals. I love political docudramas. Shut up. Shut up. Skye, what is it?
On IMDb, they say injuries sustained by two army rangers behind enemy lines in Afghanistan set off a sequence of events involving a congressman, Cruz, a journalist, Streep, and a professor, Redford. Riveting. Lots of Starbucks, girl. Ashley's blinking real fast. Oh, man. This is going to be a rough one. She's so offended in my rule. Yeah, I am. Uh-oh. I was just trying to be proactive with you, you know? I think you would tell that to any of us. Well, sure. Be hard for me to stay awake, Ashley. That's all. There you go. All right, bro. She went bro on you. She went all bro on me. Okay, so before we went to break, I said that somebody outsold Britney for the number one album by almost a half a million copies of the album. You know who it was? Who? The Eagles.
The Eagles? The Eagles. And they're not even selling that thing everywhere they sell records. Like, you can't get it on iTunes. The only place you can get it is Sam Goody, which I didn't know still existed. Sam's Club. Oh, Sam's Club, which I didn't know still existed. I thought it was all Costco. You can get it at Sam's Club and Walmart. And they're basically the same company. So only one company out there had the rights to sell the new Eagles double disc. Wow. Yeah. And it's all new music, right? Yeah, all new music. Long Road Out of Eden, it's what it's called. It came out the same day that Britney's new album, Blackout, came out. Everybody expected Britney to be number one. I heard, I don't know if this is true, that the album starts by them going, it's the Eagles, bitch. Is that true? It could be. I haven't heard that. But, I mean, it sounds kind of out of character for them. It's Glenn Frey, bitch. Yeah. Hey, Ashley, you want to hear a commercial for the movie you're going to see this weekend? Yes. Oh, no. This is Friday. So, what is this? Behind every big story. We all need a win. Is that code for off the record? Behind every closed door. You're on your own. Behind every enemy line. Best news coming.
is the truth. The year has critics raving. It's an astounding political thriller. You won't be able to turn away. Robert Redford, Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise, Lions for Lambs. A Robert Redford film. Worldwide Friday. Again, you can't fall asleep during this film. Have I mentioned she can't sleep in it? I heard you say that. Get it in writing. You don't mind making a contract about that, right? irritated at that. What is this with Jessica Simpson saying that she wants a Boston man? Oh, no. I have no idea. What? Cut 17. And the pop superstar opened up to me like never before about men. I think Boston has cute boys. I need a Boston man. Okay, you heard it here first. Better believe it. A Boston man is closest to a Southern man, I believe. Just for the loyalty. That's right, Mike.
There's loyalty to the socks. You know if he was here, that's what he'd be hearing. It'd be so brutal. He'll be back tomorrow. Most people didn't notice he was gone. He never talks. He never talks. So Boston Rob, yeah, he's... Hey, listen, you can't argue with her. That guy has never had a hard time with ladies. Not at all. He's a charmer. He's a charmer. Yeah. And I kind of agree with her, surprisingly, that I think that those Boston kids, they are kind of like, they have that same kind of southern thing of like, you know, this is my lady, you know, and I need to be a gentleman. They kind of do have that weird thing. Yes, Mike, we are chivalrous. Yes. What is that? What is that word? Aberyst. No, that's a different one. He's in Martha's Vineyard. I can't wait to hear what he did. I hope there's pictures of him sipping Chardonnay. Yeah, video of him antiquing. Second day we worked on making a quilt together. I bought a lovely shawl. Yes. Guys, I know you may think this is weird, but I'm now into restoring lamps. Oh, well then. And old clocks.
I bought a 19th century chair. It's wonderful. He comes back and anytime he reads something, he breaks out like reading glasses. The sit at the end of his nose. Boston Rob's in Martha's Vineyard getting culture. Can you imagine like everybody that sees him in Martha's Vineyard? Very ritzy area. Anytime anybody sees him, they're going to call the cops thinking that somebody's trying to rob the place. For sure. Here comes this guy with the word Boston tattooed on his neck. Tattoos all over his arms. Ruffian. Maybe he's wearing turtlenecks. Hey, it's noon there. Get him on the phone. Oh, yeah. Get him on the phone. Let's call Boston Rob. Be rizzy. See how he's doing. Miss him. Yeah. Miss him. Be Rob. Lindsay Lohan's rehab boyfriend. apparently does not like lindsey's mother and was blogging about it on his myspace everybody blogs on their myspace yeah weird yeah not very smart to do no and yeah about her mom um so we talked earlier um a couple days ago about how dina lowen got her own reality show on i believe it's the e network right and you should get an academy award for this picture
And so, you know, Riley's MySpace page says, quote, advice of the week. If you're a mom with four kids, the best thing you can do for them right now is not have a reality show. We do not want. We. Yeah. We. Him and his girlfriend. She has the nerve to ask us to be on. No thanks. Who's this guy? Yeah. He's nuts, right? Yeah, a little bit. He sounds like he's nuts. Yeah, Lindsay's going to break this one's heart, huh? I think that this is the... You got him? Oh, let's talk to him. Yeah. Yeah, dude. B-Rizzle. Hey, what's going on? Yeah, my boy. Yeah. We miss you, dude. We miss you. I know, dude. I can't wait to come back. You wouldn't even believe the day I'm having. I've taken... I'm on a bus right now, but I just took the ferry over from Matthew's Vineyard to Woods Hole. Yeah. I'm taking a bus to South Station, and then I'm going to take the T to Logan. I love transportation. He does. Boston Rob loves public transportation. Oh, you can't beat it. You meet the greatest people in public transportation. He's the best. How has your girlfriend liked your stomping grounds?
She loves it. It was so beautiful. It's like you go back in time. Everything's so slow there and so different. Everything was kind of closed, but it was just nice. All the leaves are changing. Everything's all colorful. I'm sure that you fit right in with all those tattoos. We did some watercoloring. Did you guys draw caricatures of each other? I definitely stood out. You know, from all the locals, but nothing wrong with that. Everybody loved my neck tattoo. That's great. I'm sure they did. What time do you land? We get in it. We leave Logan at 5, and we get in at 8 tonight. West Coast time. Yeah, we got to make sure all the P1s are out there with welcome back signs and everything. Oh, that would be awesome. If anyone wants to give me a ride home from the airport. He's the best. He's so serious right now. Oh, he's not serious. So we got you back in here bright and early in the morning? Oh, you bet. I can't wait to get back in there and tell you all about it and show you all my pictures. That's great. He's got like eight disposable cameras. All right, Rob. We miss you. We can't wait to see you tomorrow. Okay, guys. Later, buddy. Later. I took the T-Train over to the ferry.
why he didn't just say it, but he was telling me when we were off there, he's like, yeah, he's like, I'm on the Peter Pan Express right now going to the Logan Ferry. And I'm like, what? Peter Pan Express? Peter Pan Express. You would, bro. That's hilarious. Okay, so George Clooney got into a physical fight. Well, he got into a fight and it was about to turn physical. And when I tell you who he was getting in a fight with, Like, it's one of the world's biggest dorks, in my opinion. Whoa. Like, you're going to go, when I say who it was, you're going to go, well, you can't just make stuff up. Oh, no. See who it is next. And by the way, this person that I'm talking about, not Clooney, the other guy, that guy's people said, yeah, you know what? Clooney's lucky he didn't end up in the ER. Oh, no. Wait till I tell you who. Mikey Show. That's the ultimate hang zone. All right.
Mossy Nissan presents Tales of the Titan. My son Joey and I were out at the dunes in Glamis when we spotted this family bottomed out on a sand dune in their Chevy Silverado. I've got to tell you, P1s, about Robbins Brothers, the world's biggest engagement ring store. Don't believe me? Go in there. Check it out. It's enormous, and it's awesome. Before, Robbins Brothers was even a sponsor on the Mikey Show. I went in there myself because I live in San Diego. I know about Robbins Brothers. And when I was in the market for an engagement ring, that's where I went. And it was amazing. The customer service is top notch. And I didn't know anything about engagement rings. Didn't know anything about diamonds. And now I'm kind of an expert. I can tell somebody what they need to look for. All because of Robbins Brothers. And they sat me down and showed me what the deal is with diamonds and rings and settings and all that junk. And I liked it so much.
I went back and got our wedding rings there. That says a lot. And then after all that, they ended up, I think they heard us talk about it or something. And they said, wow, we should have them be a sponsor. Or we should be a sponsor on the Mikey Show. And so now I'm talking about it. It's great. Check it out. Robbins Brothers is the best. They got this new MSID diamond. It looks bigger and brighter than normal diamonds. So, I mean, it's just cool. Go and check it out. Now here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey show. I don't like Cheaters Hotel. I do this because listeners love it. I'm being honest. Yeah, it makes my tummy very uncomfortable. Erin is 28 years old. His girlfriend, Kira, is 27. Erin's suspicious of David, her boss. He thinks that she's cheating on him. Hang on, Erin. I'm going to call her right now, but I need you to be real quiet, okay? Good morning. Is Kira in, please? Yeah, this is Kira. Hi, Kira. My name's Steve, and I'm calling from the Orion Hotel, where San Diego's newest premier...
high-rise hotel we're located in the heart of the gas lamp and the reason that i'm calling you this morning is to let you know that someone has entered you into a drawing that allows you to spend one evening for free in the hotel courtesy of orion promotions it's actually really good we're gonna put your name on the gift basket basically all we need to do is get the name of your guest whose name can we put on the card with your name um that would be david All right, I need to let you know, Kira, that you're on the radio right now. This is Mikey at Rock. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. That was Cheaters Hotel from earlier this morning, in case you didn't hear it. Welcome back. It's 9-14. The parent company of Legoland announced that they're going to build an aquarium right next to the Carlsbad theme park. Aztec guard Richie Williams was arrested for a DUI. So George Clooney got into a fight with Fabio.
Come on. I'm not kidding. Like a real fight? I guess they were about to go to blows, right, Skye? Yeah, so this was, according to the New York Post, this was Friday night at a restaurant in L.A. George was having dinner with his new girlfriend. And, you know, according to sources, he had enjoyed a few cocktails. Wasn't stinking drunk, but had, you know, a little buzz going. And I guess Fabio was at a table that was like just filled with women. And the girls were getting up and taking pictures. And I guess like Clooney and his date and their table is like in the background because the tables are like near each other. So they're in the background. So according to sources, Clooney thought that these chicks were just trying to take pictures of him to sell to the tabloids. So he gets up and asks them to stop taking pictures of him. And Fabio tells him to stop being a diva. And they're just friends hanging out, taking pictures of each other. It's not all about Clooney. And then I guess there was a little pushing. There were a lot of F-bombs. And at that point, they say George Clooney just threw some money on the table, grabbed his date, and they left. Yeah. And then, like Mikey said, Fabio's manager said that George is lucky he didn't end up in the ER.
I'm sure. Well, because Fabio could have strangled him with his hair. That beautiful hair. Don't let that silky smooth hair fool you. Yeah, that's right. I can't believe it's not butter. Right? That's what I'm saying. Do you guys remember the photographs of Fabio after he had been hit in the face with a bird? That was awesome. What? It was the most disgusting thing ever. They were making a commercial for I think I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. They were on a roller coaster. It was him and a bunch of chicks in a roller coaster. And while the roller coaster was coming down this big slope at like 100 miles an hour, a bird flew by and it hit him smack in the face and his nose exploded. His face exploded. His face. His whole face was just blood. Nasty. His whole face. Google images. You'll probably find it. It's awesome. So yesterday, Budweiser filled in for Missy. and he's filling in for her again today. Oh. I believe it's going to be him that's filling in for her today. I hope so. She's out today, but... So I believe it's going to be Budweiser. But I heard him play a song by Serge Tankyung. Serge Tankyung? The lead singer of System of a Down. Now he's got a solo record out. I honestly laughed out loud practically through the whole song.
Laugh out loud. Why? And it was the first time I'd ever heard it, and it got in my head, and I was even, like, humming it later. But I thought it was funny. Yeah? I think this is it. That's not it. That's one of the new ones. Yeah. Boy, that was good, too. Yeah, I've heard that one before. Which one was that one? That one was Empty Walls. Okay, yeah, it was Unthinkable Majority. Is that the only other one we're playing? Yeah. This is it. This is where it got funny to me. Why are the...
they calling it Serge Tankian? It's a clearly system of a down. Thank you. I'm sorry, what? What's hypocrisy? Huh? What's hypocrisy? Yeah, what is hypocrisy? I'm sorry, what? Thank you, Serge. I believe that you're wrong. Okay. Well said. It's like Dracula singing. Yeah. Wow. Cool. What do you guys think if we do a little P1 trivia? Are you down with that? Oh, there you go. There you go. The trivia questions. They're all brand new trivia questions about the Mikey show. P1 Turtle sent me an IM and the IM says, hey Mikey, sorry to bother you, but a lot of the P1s are wondering about P1 trivia. Are we doing it this week? And it was funny because Eddie had just sent me an IM that said, hey, we got to get to P1 trivia. Ah, Turtle's your backup. That's right. She's my assistant producer.
No. No. It's really not funny, guys. I'm not even going to justify that with a comment. She's done to mystify it. She's typing fair. Well, P1 Trivia is a... She's taking new tactics. P1 Trivia is a game of points. You got to get to five points. You get one point, two point, three point questions. First person to five points wins. So you've got to be a good P1. A P1 is a Mikey show listener. You've been listening to the Mikey show for a long time. You do listen to the Mikey show for a long time. And when you call in, you turn your radio down, get to the point, and don't cuss. We need a guy and a girl. It's like your favorite show. That's right. Why? You have to call in.
and we need a guy and a girl, and the person that wins gets to come hang out in the studio on Friday morning throughout the show in the studio with us. Awesome! That's pretty cool. So, 5701053, we got a guy. It's Marcos. Marcos, how are you? Hey, Marcos. What's up, everybody? How you doing, man? I'm doing real good, Mikey. Marcos, are you Hispanic? I'm half Puerto Rican and half white. Well, the name Marcos is usually indicative of Latino descent. Yes, sir, but I do not look anything like it. I'm the whitest Puerto Rican you'll ever meet. Do you have brothers and sisters? I do. I have a brother. What are their names? His name is Daniel. Oh. See, in my family, we're all Mexican. We got real white names. Mike, Sam, Mark, Steve. Like the whitest names in the world. You know, Mike, it's funny. You were talking about that the other day when you were saying you're not white. My wife, she's from Jalisco. So she's as Mexican as Mexican you can get, dude. That's where my grandmother's from. My grandmother was from Jalisco, Mexico. Yeah, dude. So it's definitely a state of mind, dude. It's not anything to do with your color. I just want to point that out. Yeah, Mexican is a state of mind. I'm really Mexican in my state of mind. Your Mexican-ness is what defines you. Thank you.
We have P1 Squishy on the line. Hi, Squishy. Squishy, are you there? Bad connection. Very bad connection. Unless you're talking into an electric razor. Maybe your electric razor is also a phone. Well, maybe you're shaving your beard as you're talking. Yes. She could be playing with a remote control airplane. You guys don't know. Oh, good point, Eddie. Not at all. In fact, not even a little bit. Is someone just holding the horn down on your car in the background? Yeah, what? Are you calling for your cell phone? Yeah. Okay. I'll tell you what we're going to do. Let's get your phone number off the air. We'll call you back, see if we can get a better connection, okay? Hang on. Hang on the line, Squishy. Hello. Thorn. That's Squishy. She's got a bad connection. Well, Marcos, it's going to take a second, but we're going to get to you. No problem, guys. Now, Marcos, you can come into the studio if you win, right? Yes, definitely. I've been waiting for this for some time. How old are you? 28. All right. And how long have you been listening to the Mikey Show? I'd say avidly for about two years, and then probably about two years on and off before that. Very cool. Very cool. So you are, in fact, a true P1. Oh, I was the one that dropped the whole Lori Ramsey bit, dude.
The Lori Ramsey bit. On Halloween, I set you guys up big time. I don't know. What is he talking about? Oh, he... I had the story about... The Sharpie pins. On the shower curtain. Oh, that's right. That was hysterical. That was a good one. Yes, he called in on Halloween with a ghost story. And it was basically this great ghost story that was going on and on. He's like, got us, he's got us. And then at the very end... He said he dropped some line about Ramsey, and it was all just a big joke. The funny thing is, I came up with that bit while I was on hold. Wow, you're a genius, sir. We are in debt to you. I mean, the show wouldn't be on the air today if it wasn't for you. I thought it was great. I appreciate it. All right, Squishy, are you there? Yeah. All right, Squishy, much better connection. There we go. All right, Squishy, how old are you? I'm 23 years old. 23? Yes. Okay, and if you win, you can come into the studio this weekend? Of course. I mean, this Friday? Of course. And how long have you been listening? For three years. Very nice. Okay, here we go. Let's do this. Sky, who started first last time? The girls went first last time. All right, so Marcos, you begin. What do you want, a one, two, or three-point question? Oh, boy, the phone's back again. Oh, no. Well, fine, we're going to deal with it. It's fine. We'll deal with it. Marcos, what do you want, a one, two, or three-point question? Let's start with a two. You got it. Your question is,
Who is Ashley's first base coach during the dumb chick challenge? Come on. I'm going to go Eddie. That is correct. Eddie is Ashley's first base coach when we play the dumb chick challenge. He gives her kind of these hand signals and they're very veiled. They're hard to figure out. Only the two of them know what they're really saying. And then Ashley would decide whether she wants a one, two or three points. She needs all the help she can get. Squishy. What do you want, a one, two, or three-pointer? Two. Wow, that's a bad one. So bad. Your two-point question is, who is the youngest member of the show? That's easy, actually. That is incorrect. Your overconfidence is your weakness. Squishy, don't answer so quick. Think about it. Yeah, Squishy. Squishy, Zeth is the youngest person on the show. He's 20. I forgot about him. Yeah, well, we all do. We all do.
He's 22 years old. All right, Marcos, what do you want? A one, two, or three pointer? You can wrap it up with a three, or you can try a one or a two. I'm going to start to stay consistent with a two. Okay. Which show member's birthday falls on April Fool's Day? April Fool's Day is birthday. Who on the show... has a birthday that falls on April Fool's Day. I'm going to go with Ash. That's incorrect. That is incorrect. It's actually Shawnee Oh Boy. Sean! Is born on April 1st. What other day would he be born on? That's right. That's right. All right, P1 Squishy, a one, two, or three-pointer? I'm going to have to go with the three. Did you say something about your knee? Stop it. Three. I'm going to try to take the lead. All right, Squishy.
Your question is, what is Sean's panda name? What is Sean's panda name? What do we call Sean as a panda? Oh, goodness. Is it... That is correct. Squishy came fighting back. She now leads with three points. Marcos has two. It's a close one. Oh, my gosh. Marcos, what do you want? A one, two, or three-pointer? Let's go three. I'm in it. You got it. Your three-point question is, when Mikey and Eddie lived together as roommates in Rochester, New York, what product did Eddie walk a mile in a blizzard to get? That was a tough one. Wasn't it some kind of condiment? I need an answer. I'm going to go mayonnaise. That is weird and strange and not correct. Mayonnaise.
Yes, Eddie walked a mile from mayonnaise. It was really good. I was really craving it. Seriously. Actually, no, Eddie walked a mile in a blizzard. True story for Coca-Cola. So thirsty. All right, P1 Squishy, do you want to try to wrap it up with a two or are you going to go easy with a one? Oh, no, two. All the way. You want a two. All right, Squishy. Squishy. Your two-point question is, who on the show puts salt in their milk? Oh, that's too weird. It's on the... Sean? That is correct. Where's my... You won music. There it is. You won music. Squishy, congratulations. You can come into the studio on Friday morning. And Marcos? Yes, sir. You can try again next time, man. And you're a good P1, and you can try again next time. Thanks, guys. Bye, man. Mayonnaise. Squishy, are you excited? Yes, I'm totally excited. Actually, first time calling in. I talked to Sky. It's really hard to understand. I don't know. How weird would it be is if she came into the studio and she was like, hey, guys. Wyoming is booming with jobs, and businesses are looking for workers.

Congratulations to the Padres' Greg Maddox, who broke the record by winning his 17th gold glove. Police in Chicago used a taser on a senior citizen. Don't tase me, bro. It was a woman. Don't tase me, bro. She was 80 what, Sky? 82. Okay. She was 82. Is she asking for it? Well, you know who doesn't get tased? Grandmas that don't come at police officers with hammers. Yeah, she was swinging a hammer when the cops arrived at her house. She's lucky she didn't get shot, and I'm not kidding. She's lucky she didn't get shot and killed. Her granddaughter says that she suffers from schizophrenia and dementia and is easily confused. Dimension? Which dimension? What dimension? The fifth dimension. Really? Ooh, that's bad. Dementia. That's a bad one.
Fourth and third isn't that bad, but fifth. But fifth, you're way out there. Get out of here. And she gets easily confused, and she doesn't understand why the cops would have to taser a five-foot-one, 82-year-old woman. Yeah, with a hammer. With a deadly weapon. And dimension. If you have dimension, you have a deadly weapon. It doesn't matter who you are. If you're coming out of a cop, you're going to get hurt. What? What is that? Dementia. Dementia. Dementia. Dementia. I thought it was. Ashley says dementia. You say dementia. We've had dementia, dementia. What is it? If you pronounce everything and it's dementia, you can just say dementia. It's like directions or directions. Dementia or dementia. Who does say directions? People do. Can I get some directions to that place? People say that. Yokels?
You know, people with bad grammar. Caramel caramel. You know, people who can't pronounce stuff. Milk, milk. Milk, milk. What? Different pronunciations. That's all it is. Hello, hello. Hello, hello. Hello, hello. Hello, hello. So the Chicago Police Department is investigating the incident. Albertsons, Albertsons. Stop. A, A. Witchcraft, witchcraft. Dimension, dimension. Flag, flag. Flag, flag. Move on. Move on, move on. No. Move on, move on. Caribbean or Caribbean. Like, you don't know what I'm saying when I say that. You're the worst. Give me a break. Apple or April. Stop. You're so dumb, Sean. Can I have a caramel caramel?
April. Caramel caramel. Dumb or doom. Caramel caramel. Dumb or dumb. Presentation. That's all I'm saying. That's what we're saying. Thank you. Dog or dog. That was my throat. That was your throat? Yeah, they just went, ooh. I heard it. I got a couple more good clips. But first, before we hear any clip, I need to hear the writers ticketing again. Cut 20 out. We write the story. Yes. Whoa. Sean, you know what I need you to do? What? Loop it. So it sounds like it's, you know, like a continuous picket. Give me a second. You can do it. Looping on the fly. You can loop it. Kid squid. I love it. You're so kid squid right now. Now, dude, break out your razor blade and splicing tape. Beto. Beto. Come on. Throw that sucker on the reel-to-reel, Uncle Sean. They don't use those anymore.
Dude, use your old headphones. Okay, that wasn't necessary. Don't make fun of his headphones. He's taking shots now. Do that thing, dude, with your headphones where you have one ear on and one ear off. Nobody does that. We write the story for evil and gloria. We write for evil and gloria. Needs a little more pause, that's it. Yeah, I know. You don't know how to loop things. Throw it in there, dude. We write the story for E-Molo Moria. We write the story for E-Molo Moria. Uncle Sean, put like a little more, dude. So it sounds more normal. Leave him alone. We write the story for E-Molo Moria. Hey, Beto was right. Yeah, dude. Buy me some beer. No. You're 14. I'm not 14. Yes, you are. Dude, I'm 19. Shut up. Get out of here. Dude. You're a clown. Dude.
Yesterday, I was volunteering for the fire victims. No, you were not. And that is awful that you are saying that. At the fair, bro. At the fair. The fair. You were volunteering at the fair. Yeah, dude. And I was out there, you know. Yeah. And this black dude came and he was going to steal stuff. No, you cannot make up stories like that. That is awful. It's true, bro. No, it isn't. Yeah, and so when this big old black dude came, and he was all, hey, give me everything. And dude, I ripped off my shirt, man. Okay. You're so little and skinny. Dude, I ripped off my shirt, and I was all yoked and everything. You're not yoked. Yeah, with all your chest hair hanging out. Yeah, dude. And I was all, hey, bro. If you want to get hard, we'll do it right now. What are you even talking about? Hey, man. That sounds kind of creepy. I was on. Sky. Hey, Howard. I was on.
Hey, dude, if you really want to go and say, let's go, man. No. You're a little 14-year-old skinny punk kid. And you're not cooler just because you got, like, in a fight. And dude, dude, he got scared. No. Did he run? That's so BS. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. He was all, it's cool, bro. It's cool, you know? Sure. I'm not looking for no papa. And then a unicorn flew in and picked you up, huh? Wow. I'm being serious, dude. Okay, take it easy, little guy. He's getting mad. That's my nephew, Beto. Yeah. Well, listen, he tries to be a lot more mature than he actually is. He's not. I am mature, dude. You're not. Come on. Uncle Eddie. What? That's smoke, dude. Smoke what? No. No. Anything. Yeah, dude, crack. No. Get out of here. Get out of here. Hey, dude, let's get high. No. That's not cool. That does in that stage where he thinks that fighting and doing drugs is cool. So we constantly have to remind him it isn't cool. It's not cool. You're going to get the belt. Dude, let's do unprotected sex. What does that mean? With who? No. That's what I mean. I mean, it depends. What? Hey. Hey. Hey.
Hey, Uncle Eddie. Oh, my gosh. Like, remember back in the day, bro, when you would slay those girls? No, I don't remember that. Well, I do remember, but let's not do it. I'm a married man now. Beto, knock it off. You're going to get me in trouble. I'm just saying, bro. What are you saying? It was like a girl factory. That's not even true. And you were in preschool back then. Yeah. Shut up, dude. I was getting my junior year on. Okay. It doesn't make any sense. I was getting my junior year on. I was getting my huffing on. No, you weren't. No one even says that. You guys want to see my stab wounds? Yes. We would love to. We would love to. I would show you, dude, but it's by my big junk. Oh, my God. Otherwise, I would show you. Get out of here. Because Sky'd be all... Next year, big junk. That is probably true. I'm sure. She would flip out, man. Have you seen her husband? She'd be like, oh, check it out. It's a Donkey Kong 3. Get out of here, you. That's enough.
Eddie, take me to a topless bar. Unreal. Okay. What? What if he can get in? No, he can't. Okay, fine. Hey, dude, if anybody's all like, hey, let me have your autograph, Eddie. I'll be all, shut up. I'll shake you like 30 times, man. No, I would not want that, though. But I would not want you to do that. Dude, I'm yoked, man. Well, no, you're not. I'm looking right at you. Look at my stomach, bro. Well, you're thin. You're thin, but you're not. Dude, it's like an eight pack. You haven't even developed yet. Two past the six. What? Two past the six. Get out of here. Dude, I'm hard. I wear boots. They're black. I wear jeans. I got a long one. I'm huge. You don't. No. Hey. You don't. Sky, you want to go out? No. You're a child. I'm a child, but I rock your world, baby. Okay. No, thank you. This is getting weird. That's illegal. I will take you to places you've never been, dude. What, like your middle school? Shut up, dude. I'm going to middle school. Sorry, that was last year. I was not. Last year.
I was going out with chicks, getting them pregnant, left and right. No, you were. That is not true. No. No, dude, I was like, Boston, right? No. That's not a good, yeah, personally. Yeah, dude, I would constantly be like, quit calling me, telling me you're pregnant again. Again. Again. Do you even know how it works? Every time I was like, hey, man, I got this chick pregnant two times one month, and I was all. One month? And I was all, hey, man. Quit trying to tell me that. One month? And I have like 80 kids. I do too, bro. You're not that cool. I have like at least. No, you don't. No, you don't. You don't. I'm like, hey, man, I'm fine. I'll go out with you, but no rubbers every time. Okay. That's enough. You've said enough. And then they're all, no, dude. They're all, no, dude. Stop it. I don't think they're saying no, dude. That's enough, Beto. Goodness. You're on Groundation. Yeah, you're grounded. Groundation. A British mother, she reports her son missing. So a couple of days later, the police go, we found your son. It's very unfortunate. He passed away. We found him. She cremates him. A couple days later, they call her back, say, sorry, we made a mistake. We found your son. Oh!
He's alive and well. He's doing great. Who got cremated? Actually, we forgot to call you. Yeah, we actually found out a couple days ago, but we've been busy. What? Lots going on here. And now, so there's two things. One, that's wacky. The other thing is, who did we cremate? Yeah, who got cremated? That's great. And they can't tell now, right? No, everything's all burnt out. No, it's ashes. Holy cow. It's garbage. Whoops. How does that happen? How does that happen? Like, how did they? And the son, the son was older, too, by the way. The son was like 37. 37. But she ID'd the body, so I don't know what state the body was in that she ID'd. Was her eyes closed? Yeah. Yes. Crazy. That's a weird story, though, man. That is weird. Oil prices are apparently continuing to march towards $100, what, a barrel? Yeah. Which, I don't even, I don't know what that means. Like, what's a normal barrel price? I don't even know. We should go to war. Wait, we are. Drive the price down. Well, no, opposite, actually. Since we've been at war, the price just keeps going up and up. When I was driving into work this morning, when I was driving in this morning, I saw the gas station right around the corner here, $3.23 a gallon. Hey, listen, I'm on board with you, Sky. Welcome back to this investigative report. I'm Brian Gumbel. In the studio with us now is Boy Blunder. His new name, though, Budweiser. Oh. Let me ask you something, product endorsement. Be careful, please. Are you ashamed that your name is a product endorsement? Of course not. I'm very proud. I mean, would you have been Massengill or Pampax? Viagra? I mean, what would you not be? Do you want me to work here? Yes. I do. It's a simple question. I see. Yes, I would be proud to represent any of those products. Your name is a product endorsement. Why? So I can have a job here. Sean, can you give me my...
Real sports music? Oh, I'd love to. Welcome back to Real Sports. I'm Brian Gumbel. Tonight, a provocative look into the world of product endorsement. At a radio station in San Diego called KIOC, they're trying something new. Product endorsement by naming an actual air talent after a product. Although it seems to work, and Budweiser is more on the rise as far as sales anywhere else in the United States, in San Diego, some still wonder, how far will they go? Budweiser, let me ask you, does it bother you that you're a real human being? Your name is Rick. No one knows it. It is. What? Does that part bother the question? People only know you as Budweiser. Does it bother you that you're a real person living underneath it? No, it doesn't bother me. Do people call you Budweiser on the street? Yes. Yes, they do. I haven't been called my real name since I was 20 years old, pretty much. Uh-oh. It's going to the notes. I know. You're dead. It's not good.
What are you jotting down? Why is he writing? Our report says that some people for fun call you Coors. Some people for fun call you natural light. That's not cool. That's their problem. That's how I see it. I don't get it. It doesn't bother you. No, not at all. Why did you put the F word on the air? Oh, no. I'll get to that. That's question number four. I'm Brian Gumbel. Budweiser. Yes. Why did you put the F word on the air 18,000 times in a row and get fired for it twice? When did I do that? Did you realize at the time this was an FCC violation? Yes. You did? Yes. But neither time was intentional. You say it was intentional, yet you've done it twice. Well, first of all, I've only put the F word on the air once. It was several times. The one time I did it, that was back in Dallas. The second time I didn't put the F word on the air.
Some skeptics would say, perhaps it's a cry for help. Who says that? Some skeptics would say, it's a cry for attention. Did you put the F word on the air as a cry for help or some way of looking for attention? Yes. If I could, I'd like to have one of my producers put up one of your commercials. Why are you doing this? It's an investigative report. Deal with it. Yeah. I'm Brian Gumbel. My notes here say that some have categorized you as a misogynist. It's misogynist. But somebody once said that it was misogynist. That was a mistake I made. And then fought everybody else who said... Six years ago. What? Yes, it says in my notes that six years ago, you said that you were a misogynist. And you were corrected.
And they had to tell you, I think the word you're looking for is misogynist. That's correct, yes. That is the story. Budweiser, off the air, Mikey and Eddie were making jokes that you found funny. Yet when Skye made the same joke, you lashed out at her. Some would call this misogyny. That's possible. Why is it that when Mikey and Eddie make a joke, it's funny, but when Skye makes the same joke, it's not funny? Thank you, Brian. When that happens, why? Because I can still suck up to you guys. I don't understand. You could still suck up to us. Yeah, laugh at your jokes. And you can't suck up to her is what you say. Well, I don't need to. That's what I'm saying. Why do you not need to suck up to her? Because she's a woman? No. Oh, massage. Wow. Because she loves me. That's why. And she knows better. Does the fact that you are mauled... I know better. Yes. I know my place. Is that what you're trying to say? That's not what I'm trying to say. Don't you put words in my mouth. Question. Does the fact that you are mauled by a bear... Oh, here it is.
Make you put the F word on the air? This interview's over. Just a few more questions. Don't waddle out. Do we have one of his commercials yet? Where can I find it? I'm Brian Cumble. Give me my real sports music one more time. Welcome back to Real Sports. I'm Brian Cumble. In the world of professional corporate radio, sometimes people do endorsements on the air. And when they do the endorsements, Sometimes they use their natural voice, and sometimes they use an affected voice. Oh, no. In this particular case that we're about to play for you now, you're supposed to hear Rick Budweiser Johnson. He's recording a commercial, and in this commercial, some say he uses an affected voice. You'll be the judge. Real Sports' Armin Kataian takes a closer look.

Dead to right. The radio industry defines this sort of affectation on the voice as puking. Yes. Clearly in this commercial you're doing that wine. You know, honestly, this is God's truth. Oh no, here we go. Because I thought that's how you're supposed to sound. Oh, come on. I'm dead serious. Do you think it sounds good? Come on. Would your mentor have approved of that? You learned from us. We don't puke. We talk normal. But, yeah, on the air, like, you know, when you're doing a show or whatever. I get it. I understand what you're saying. You thought that when you do commercials, you should sound more professional. So, when we do commercials, you think me and Mikey go, all right, coming up, Bob. No, but, I mean, like, for Robin's brothers, I bet I'll talk to you later. Goodbye. I haven't heard you guys do commercials like that. I've heard you do, like, your ad-libs and whatnot, but I haven't heard you do, like, full-on. But not like that. Well, listen, all I know is now he knows, and I can't wait to hear the next commercial. Oh, okay.
He's filling in for Missy today. The cool thing about Budweiser is that when he comes in, he never gets a hard time. I love it. It's like old times. Just rethinking about coming in early. This is fantastic. I miss you. I miss everybody. How old are you, Budweiser? 27. I was 20 years old when I first started. I met him when he was 20 years old. I fell in love with him right away. I loved him right away. Kept telling us all what a genius this kid is. A, I thought he was a genius, and B, he was so lovable. What do you mean was? I still am. You're hardened. He was so eager to please. He's very jaded now. Very sour. He can be very mean. He's the guy that will make the joke that on a scale of 1 to 10 is like a 40. Everybody goes, ooh. Just trying to push the envelope, guys. That envelope has been pushed over the ledge. The fish. You're the blue cheese of radio. Very strong. Thank you. Very strong. Wow, that is powerful. Very powerful. And very clumpy, too.
Okay. So American Idol is going to allow... They're going to bend the... Well, they're going to change the rules a little bit. And now when people audition for American Idol, they can play the guitar. What? Wow. You didn't tell Ashley that. Right? Well, according to the New York Post... She would have won. Thank you, Ashley. I didn't know you could play the guitar, Ashley. I would have learned. It helped my chances. Okay. Yeah, so the New York Post says that contestants will be allowed to play musical instruments during auditions and other performances, but then go on to say that the only musical instrument that they're allowed to use is a guitar. Which is whack, because what if you're like a bomb piano player? I believe you should be able to play piano. In fact, I think that you would probably find, I think they should have a piano there. And if you come in and you want to play it, go ahead. Because it could be funny, like you could suck at the piano, and that'd be funny like you're a bad singer. Sure. Yeah, and then they also say that this year there'll be less of the mentor guests, the music legends, less of that. Thank God. And then their producer, Niall Lithgow, goes on to say that there's about three girls, Lithgow, three girls who are awesome this year, but they said one of those girls they actually saw three years ago, but at that time she wasn't an American citizen, so she couldn't take part. So she's become legal, and now she'll be on the season.
See, the biggest change I think they're making is that whole thing with no more of those old crooners. Oh, thank you. See, because I think that they believe the younger audience will tolerate it, the older audience will love it, and they're keeping them both. And I think that what they don't realize is that the older audience, they can tolerate younger, cooler people. Because my mom and dad, they love American Idol. They're in their 60s and 70s. You can just put people on. You got to find that artist that's like right in the middle. Like I think somebody that everybody could be down with is somebody like the Eagles. Like who couldn't be down with the Eagles? Yeah. They come in there and then the kids have to sing Hotel California and they got to sing Tequila Sunrise and stuff like that. Just don't give me Barry Manilow. Don't give me Gloria Estefan. Gloria Estefan. Holy cow. If you're trying to go old that is still young, the Eagles got the number one album out right now. That makes sense to me. I wouldn't even mind like Stevie Nicks in Fleetwood Mac. Wouldn't that be kind of cool? Sure. But this old stuff, man. Even Rod Stewart, I thought, was out of it. And he wasn't even doing cool Rod Stewart music. He was doing the old classics. Old. It's just weird. Jane Seymour just admitted that she had breast implants put in right before she filmed Wedding Crashers. But she said that they were so small. The implants.
that they were so small that her doctor had to like special order them huh yeah she made a point to let everybody know that okay yes i admit i did get some implants but they were so small that they needed to be special ordered so it's barely like i mean you know it's barely like she really got implants huh what's the point oh if no one go big or go home i don't think that's what i was saying that's what they say well what i'm trying to say what i'm trying to say is You can look like you have breasts that fit your body. And that's whatever. See, I always think it's real goofy when the girls get the breast implants that are so gigantic. To me, that looks like a guy that has put a cucumber in his pants. Picture a guy like Mr. Furley. Picture Mr. Furley walking into Jack's apartment.
He's got on those loud pants, like a big fake wiener, you know, that's bulging. Right. Yeah. And then like a shirt that's unbuttoned to his belly button and shows the chest hair. That's what it is like to me when I see a girl with implants that are like so obviously implants. You go, oh, with a cucumber already. Come on. But if you can't tell. If the conversation takes place where you go, I wonder if that girl has implants. This is probably a good implant. Or you never knew. Or if you find out and somebody says they had implants and you never knew, that means that their implants were proportioned. Sky, what is your feeling on implants? Because your body type was that you didn't need them. You have naturally normal breasts. It's because you have big jugs. Okay, weird. Maybe don't wear a bra next time. I don't think that... Do you guys think that Skye... I don't mean to make you uncomfortable, but do you guys think that Skye has big breasts? I think she has proportionate breasts for her body. Okay, that was... That was so weird. That was so weird. Thank you. Thank you very much. Uncomfortable. Get a little closer to your camera, Skye. Shut up, Sean. I'll let you know. Let me get a closer look. Okay, let's all just stop. I'm not talking about it in sexual terms. I'm talking about it in her body dimension. I believe that...
her body type, that she's very proportionate. Well, thank you. Not too shabby. Eyes up here. Scott, what do you think about implants? Well, it's a tough call. I mean, I don't want to, you know, judge women who get them because I'm not in a place where I feel like I need them, so I can't relate. I mean, I'm perfect. You heard, Eddie. It's as if Michelangelo designed me. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying for me. That should be on a ceiling somewhere. Listen. Yes. I have a sistine breast. Yes. It's like the Mona Lisa. They're just perfect. It's like two Mona Lisa. Mona boobies. Yes. Mona boobies. I got two Mona Lisas on my chest. Stupidest thing I've ever heard. The bottom line is, Mike. When you're born with a couple puppies, it's perfect. It's hard to relate to the ladies that get them. I mean, do you want to hear my answer or not? You know, the deformed ones. Yes, the deformed girls. Nobody knows anyone deformed. I feel so sorry for them. I wish I could donate mine when I pass. I wish when I pass, I could give my breasts to needy flat girls. Yes. But I've already donated them to the Smithsonian. Well, yes.
They took one look at these suckers and said, we got to get these puppies in the museum. Right. They're perfect. Would you like to hear my answer? Yes, Sky 2. Yes, Sky 2. My name is, I'm just Sky. There's no Sky 2. But yeah, so if you're a woman and you are going to get breast implants, I'm offended, like Mike, by the big old ones that are out of proportion with your body. I just think that's stupid. So, you know, getting a normal size is cool. But at the same time, I'd like to state I wish we lived in a world where women didn't feel the need to enhance themselves in any way. You know, that everybody was happy. I can agree with that. I wish that that was not the way society was, you know, because society has like a roller coaster. You know, back in the day, thicker chicks were like the hottest thing ever, you know, and now it's like you got to be anorexic. And so it's whatever society is telling us. And I don't think that that's true. I agree with you. Mikey Show, hello. Yeah, P1 Instigator. P1 Instigator. Perfect timing. Long lost. I don't know that this is the real instigator, though. I don't think so. I don't think this is a real instigator, but it's a P1 instigator. Go ahead. Mikey, I heard Blender was giving out the number to the inside line. I just wanted to call and take advantage of that. Who was he giving out the inside line to? Paparazzi. He has done that before.
Did you give out the inside line to paparazzi? Yeah, he did do that once on accident. You gave out the inside line to paparazzi? That's how he got it. What? No, it was because I called out on the main line. That's what it was, not thinking. You called out from the inside line. From the inside line, yeah, and it shows up on caller ID. Who did you call? He was participating in a contest we were doing in the afternoon one day. Did he call paparazzi? Yeah. No, he called in. That's what I'm saying. He called in to participate in the contest. I got his phone number. He said, okay, we're going to call you back, bro, and we'll put you on the air. Right. So when it comes time, I called it back from the hotline, the inside line there. And I just, you know, just not thinking. And he shot on the caller ID? Yeah. And then he called back. And wrote it down real fast. Oh, my. And then he called back to, like, comment on an opinion on our show one time. He called the inside line to give an opinion. Which is a creepy move, you know, because you know what it is. You know it's a number you don't recognize. You know it's anything but the request line. There's no reason to be calling that. Wow. Thank you, Instigator. I appreciate you. Let's see. I think I've given all the big stuff. There's a new study out that says that people that are slightly overweight, what do they say about them, Sky?
The new study says, you know, a little extra weight isn't deadly. They say an extra 25 pounds doesn't raise the death risk from cancer and heart disease. And they say that actually having a little extra weight can actually... help some people survive illnesses, they say... What if you're 400 pounds overweight like me and Blunder? Oh, no. Well, neither of you are 400 pounds overweight, but they do say if you... 500, you had to call us on it. Whatever. They say if you fall into the obese category, meaning that your BMI is 30 or more, then that's really bad. All right. Then that's really bad, but they say that if you're just overweight, you know, an extra 25 pounds, that those people are about... It's our BMI. Oh, my. Wow. That those people with a little extra cushion are about 40% less likely to die from things like pneumonia. That's what I'm saying, Eddie. Ashley likes fat guys. What you doing later, blender? I'm a chubby chaser, dude. I like a little cushion for the cushion. I got a little Taco Bell in here.
Sometimes I like to go hugging, mate. I don't even know what that means, bro. Yeah, bro. Oh, no. Barbara took off a person she recommended for her book club after she found out he's a current member of the Klan. So, all right, well, we'll see you guys later. Wow. Wait. No, not a current member, but he used to be a member of the Klan. And so I guess she decided, you know, that was a good reason to take him off her book of the month club. Why doesn't she stop that stupid thing? How many times does she have to be embarrassed by that stupid book of the month club? You'd think she would have known by the title, Racism for Dummies. And it's always that. She'll be like, oh, this is the greatest children's book, and then the guy's busted for child porn. Figure it out. It's always like that. Figure it out. How did this guy...
Well, first of all, what was the book, and when was he in the Klan? So, okay, so the book's called The Education of Little Tree, which was first published in 1976. The author goes by the name Forrest Carter. Well, it turns out that that's not his legal name. And more digging, turns out that he was actually a member of the Klan. And he was a speechwriter for former Alabama Governor George Wallace. And he penned his infamous slogan, segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever. Oh, wow. So Oprah goes on to say that, well, you know. People can have two sides to them and write a wonderful story, but also write a segregation forever speech. Maybe that's okay, but I couldn't live with that. Well, he doesn't think she's entitled to that opinion anyway. You guys know who Rebecca DeMornay is, right? Of course. Nope. She's most famous for her role in the movie Risky Business, where she played the call girl that goes to Tom Cruise's house, Joel.
and seduces Joel, and basically has Joel turn into a pimp for hire. And, well, anyway, she was just busted on DUI last week. Uh-oh. Yeah, her blood alcohol was .09, and we all know the legal limit here in California is .08. So she's a tad above it. Yep. Could have been one drink that got her there. I was a cop, I would have let her go. Really? Yeah, Eddie says if he's a cop, he'd let the celebrities go. I'm sorry. Don't judge me. She's being honest. Nicole Kidman says she's never had any work done. I believe her. She's probably right. I believe it. But it's just weird that she has to say that. Yeah, I think she's got good genetics. That's what she says. Good genes, healthy living, lots of sunscreen, no smoking. She's 40 years old, and if you look at pictures, you can't find a single wrinkle on her face. But then, you know, talking about the no smoking, all that, of course, they dug in an interview she did a couple years ago. She says, yes, I smoke cigarettes, but only occasionally. It's an addiction, and if anyone is going to start smoking, I advise them not to. Yeah, I think she's probably just got good genetics. A little conflict there.
What is the conflict? That she says the reason that she looks so good is because she doesn't smoke. And then in an interview a couple years ago, she talks about how occasionally she smokes. So, work done? I don't know. But, man, I mean, those are some damn good genes. They should bottle those genes if you can be wrinkle-free. I think there's a few ladies that are able to pull that stuff off. It's genetics. You know that there are some ladies, Sky, that just don't get the wrinkles until they're in their mid-40s or late-40s. You know what I mean? You're not buying it. Dude, she is one lucky girl if that's true. I mean, she's in a small percentage of the population. Just say it. You don't believe her. I'm a skeptic. I'll say I'm a skeptic. Put down the haterade. I don't have any haterade, Eddie. When Lionel Richie said he wants his daughter Nicole to wait to get married till after the baby's born and that if she does, he'll pay for her wedding. I don't believe it. I've heard too many of these.
Lionel Richie buy stuff. Like, I think now people are just, like, trying to get creative. Well, and wouldn't Lionel kind of pay for the wedding anyways? I mean, doesn't the family of the bride pay for the wedding? Yeah, listen, if you wait to get married until after the baby, I'll pay for the wedding. But if you get married now, I won't have anything to do with that wedding and I won't pay for it. What does it matter? Baby's coming no matter what, dude. Yeah, according to sources, Lionel just wants her to focus on the baby and having a healthy baby and not stressing out about planning a wedding right now. I don't have an eating disorder. You didn't say you did. I don't have an eating disorder. I never said you did. I don't have an eating disorder. I'm not fighting. I don't have an eating disorder. Fine, you don't have one. There was a little Indian girl. She had eight arms and legs. And a doctor cut them all off. Sean. 27 hours of surgery. Cut them all off. Now she's got four normal limbs. Yeah, and it's crazy. Ironic thing is her name is Cricket. Wow. No, that is not her name. It has eight arms and legs that Cricket does. Yeah, so when she was born, you know, it's called a parasitic. It's not funny, Sean. There it is now. It's called a parasitic twin. So basically what happened is. Oh, whoa. That's creepy. She had a twin and then absorbed it. So basically, you know, she has her own arms and legs. And then where her bum is, it's another connected torso. No way. Where the twin would have been. Yeah, but no head.
And so when she was born, you know, there's a Hindu goddess. There's a Hindu goddess of wealth. You're welcome, Brian. Jeez, give me a break. The Hindu goddess of wealth has four arms. So all the people in the village didn't want her to have this surgery because they believed she was a goddess. But doctors said if she waits, you know, a couple more years, she may not survive. And her family actually had to go into hiding because, like, traveling circuses and stuff wanted to abduct her. Oh, you can't just make stuff up, Skye. That's a horrible thing. 2007. Oh, for goodness sake. It says it right here. Skye, that joke would have worked in the 40s, but you stop it. No, it says their family was forced to keep her in hiding after they were approached by men offering money in exchange. And the report goes on to say that Ripley's wrote her a check for 409. For putting their daughters in a circus. This is in India. Really? She's a great juggler. So a charity covered the surgery and it was 27 hours and they say... Of hands on surgery. We get it. And they say they expect her to walk in the future and lead a normal life. There you go. Apparently, they are going to build a gigantoid aquarium. This is so cool, man. Next to Legoland. I'm really... Oh, I'm there. I like fish. So I'll go.
36,000 square feet. Uh-huh. Two stories. It's going to cost $20 million. It's part of the Sea of Life. I guess they have these Sea of Life aquariums around the world, but this will be the first one in North America, and it will be right next to Legoland in Carlsbad, but you will have to pay a separate admission to get into that park. Yeah, I don't want to see the Legos anyway. Yeah, so that's supposed to open next summer. We've took him. You know, he didn't get it when we took him. Nah. Once he gets it, he'll want to go all the time. Well, that's fine. We'll take him. Just, you know, there's some places that are even fun for the adults. Legoland is not one. It's not one of them. Nothing adults can do there. Yeah, it was the most boring thing I'd ever done in my life. But the kids love it. They love those Legos. And the aquarium. That'll be really neat. You know what I wish? Hey, if there's anybody listening that's going to be a part of building that thing, when you're putting together the actual aquarium part and you're adding stuff to it like corals and fish, if you could think of your old boy Mikey and let me come watch, I just want to watch when you're sticking the stuff in there and mixing the salt and doing all that stuff and testing the water for stuff. Eddie, do you even still have your tank? Yeah.
Is it good now? No. Oh, man. What's the deal? Same. It never gets better or worse. It's the same. That's a bummer. Wow. The space shuttle's coming home today, the Discovery. It's been up there, I think, eight years. How long has that thing been up there? Are we on Mars or something? What has it been doing? Up there fixing the solar panels on the space station. I guess there was a rip in one of the panels, and so they were up there fixing it, and they were supposed to come home at 10 o'clock this morning, our time. I have a question. Yeah. How come we don't go back to the moon? That's a great question, dude. Seriously. I'm dead serious. No, no, no. I've thought about that. I was just watching a special on the moon landing, and I was thinking to myself, How come we don't go back? I know the answer. I actually know the answer. Why? The answer is because we don't have anything to do there. We went there as an expert. Don't you want to walk around? Well, it's kind of like Antarctica. There's no business there. But we wanted to be the first to get there. Yeah, but a lot of people, a lot of explorers and scientists go to Antarctica all the time. But, you know, I mean, I think it would be interesting to be walking around the moon. But the moon's made of cheese, bro. Well, and it's delicious. Bring some crackers.
But I just think it's weird that we don't ever go back. What would we do there, though? Explore. Take samples. Yeah. But we did that. But not a lot. But things have changed, Mike. Like what? They got the iPhone. The World Wide Web. I mean, you're telling me if you didn't ask the scientist, hey, dude, would you want to go on the moon and do stuff? I'm sure they would. They would. They would want to. They get on the moon. There we go. Was that a Dumb and Dumber thing? Yep. Only movies she can quote, so when she gets an opportunity to, she'll do it. No way. It's great. See what I mean? My favorite quote of the whole movie. You know, you can relate. Some high school teacher in Miami, he went and smoked a cigarette across the street from the school. Some dude walked up, shot him dead. Well, last check, he was in critical condition. But, I mean, you know, a very severe... Oh, he's not dead? No. A very severe injury to the upper torso. He was, you know, smoking, like Mike said. A 19-year-old kid came up to him and tried to rob him and shot him in the chest.
that 19-year-old guy has been arrested for attempted armed robbery and attempted first-degree murder. Guitar Hero 3 made $100 million its first week. Yeah, so that's... Figure it out, Hollywood. I'm not kidding. Like, figure it out, Hollywood. I want every A-list celebrity doing video games. They should be. How could they not be? The money's there. They make more money than your stupid movies. Yeah, and that's... The now second highest first week for a video game. The first highest first week take is Halo 3, which brought in $300 million in its first week. Holy crap. Wow. $300 million in a week. That is nuts. Aztec guard Richie Williams was arrested for DUI. Yeah, apparently this, he was arrested a couple months ago, or no, last month. on Montezuma Road, and this is the second time he has been in trouble for underage drinking. What is he, 20? He's 20. And so, obviously, with the two incidents, he's suspended. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey. So you guys were talking about why we haven't put anybody back on the moon, right? Right.
So, um, I actually, I have a subscription to the science, uh, the science magazine, um, and, uh, they're actually planning on having a space station on the moon by 2015. What's it going to do? What are they going to do there? Um, they have found two reasons to have it there. They found, uh, in the craters on the moon, a lot of asteroids that, uh, that hit the moon have, uh, liquid water on them. frozen ice. And so what they found is if they set up their space station in those areas, the space station can actually make money within completion of the space station. They can start making money by shipping water from the space station to the space station that orbits the Earth. Because it's cheaper to send it from the moon to the space station than to actually shoot it off of our planet through our atmosphere, which costs a lot of money and fuel. Do you mean water for people? To consume. I ain't drinking that. You're not drinking Mars water? Moon water? No way. What about a moon pie? I'd have a moon pie. I ain't drinking no moon water, bro. I'll have eight legs and arms before you know it. Yeah, I think they need to watch the movie Pitch Black and then rethink that. Yeah, they should. That's so cool, though. Eddie, you would never... I wouldn't drink it, but I think it's cool that we're going to have a space station on the moon.
Like, that's awesome. How much to drink the water? Why aren't we on Mars? Why can't we go to Mars? Why aren't we doing stuff with the space program? It's expensive. Yeah, but I mean, in the 60s, we're able to figure it out. That's because we wanted to be the first. Why not the first to be on Mars? I thought we were. I thought we already went to Mars. We stuck that rover there. We stuck that rover there, but we're a human being. I want to be on Mars. Go for it. Not me personally, but I want the world to be. On Mars. Eddie's really into space travel. I don't care. Somebody. You want someone up there. See, I ain't down with that. We've got to be us, man. It doesn't matter at this point. I don't want the Mexicans going there first. Why not, man? Set up a nice taco shop there? No way. The Mexican space program? Yeah, you know that thing's kicking ass. He's got dice hanging from the mirror. I can make so many Mexican racist jokes because I'm Mexican. P1 Jenny. Hey, it's Jenny that sang with Joe Bricano. Hey, Jenny. How are you? Hey, Jenny. What's going on, Jenny? Well, I wanted to, first off, I've got to tell you that I had your inside line as well. Because I had to call it the morning of to get in the studio really quick. It's okay. It's okay for you to have that inside line. Yeah, because we gave it to you. I've gotten rid of it because I've got no business having it. Well, we gave it to you. That's why it was okay for you to have it. We gave it to you. But you're a good woman for that.
But I'll give it out on the air now. No, Mike! Don't do it! Well, I was calling in to thank you again for giving me that great opportunity. I had a blast. And when we were walking out of the studio, Joe told me that he was going to be coming in around the first of the year, maybe in February, to play some gigs around San Diego and said we got information from each other and he was going to get in touch with me because he invited me to come up and sing with him on stage. Wow. That's awesome. Awesome. That is great. That is great, Jenny. If I don't ever get to do anything else, then I'll get to do that, and I got to do your show, so I really appreciate it. Very, very cool. Thank you, Jenny. We appreciate it. Thanks again. All right, we'll see you. I love you, Johnny. What's the other movie she saw? Forrest Gump. She saw two movies in her lifetime. I love you. Hey, give me a Siriana quote. That movie's lame. We're sending Ashley to the movie this weekend to see Lions for Lambs. Yeah, my, like, what's the word? She's very, like, artistic friend is going to come with me. She's very intellectual, so she's, like, all stoked to go see it. So she'll make sure that I stay away. Who is your artistic, intellectual friend? She's actually a P1. She texted me and was like, I'll go with you. Angela. Oh, cool. So.
All right, 570-1053, beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone segment. You can call about anything that you want. P1 is a Mikey Show listener. You listen for long periods of time. You listen, and when you call in, you turn your radio down, get to the point, and don't cuss. So call us now. Mikey Show, hello. I have some comments about the dog situation. About what? About the dog situation. The dog situation. Oh, Dog to Bounty Hunter. Michael Vick. Dog to Bounty Hunter. No, no, no. Dog to Bounty Hunter. Go ahead. What is your comment? Okay, you know how people are saying he's racist about the comments he made? Well, I think they're saying he's not a good role model, but if you look at 50 Cent and Tupac, they talk about killing people, but people look up to them. And they have their own, you know, they have BET. How come white people don't have it? How come white people don't have, like, white entertainment television? Yeah, because VH1 is not really for them, you know, and neither is MTV, right? And I don't think that it's okay for... people to make comments about other races. It's basically versus racism because black people can say whatever they want because they're black. They can make comments about calling white people whitey, Q-tip, and things like that, but no one says anything about them. No one comes down on them, but if a white guy or a Mexican says something, then they're racist. Well, the reason that black people are able to get away with a lot of that stuff is because white people were not...
slaves and not like they didn't have rights and they weren't oppressed for many, many years. And so that's the reason. And I think, you know, just my opinion, I respect your opinion. I understand it's your opinion. But just in my opinion, you know, it doesn't give them a right, but it certainly is more tolerable. It's certainly more tolerable because white people weren't put through what they were put through. And I don't think anyone, any parent would stand up and say 50 Cent is a role model for my child. Sure, I agree. Thank you for the call, though. Guess who we have on the line? We haven't heard from him for so long. It's P1. Matt Damon is on the line. Hey, Matt Damon. What do you mean, Matt Damon? Matt Damon. What do you mean, Matt Damon? How you guys doing? We're good, man. How are you? I'm good. What's going on? Not too much. It's another day at work, but I wanted to get Eddie's opinion on the... Charger Colts game this weekend. I need something positive. Eddie, what do you think? Eddie, tell him something positive. Eddie looks pained. Something positive will be on TV. Sunday night football. How's the weather going to be? It's probably going to be gorgeous. We got beautiful cheerleaders. Oh, that's true. Hey, listen. I think it'll be Chargers by 48 points.
48 to nothing. There you go, Mike. There you go. Chargers win the game, 48 to nothing. If that happens, I'll buy you lunch. All right. Hey, listen, it's not going to be an easy game. We're not going to lie to you. But those uniforms are snazzy. Yes, they will look sharp. Hey, you know what? A thought just came out of my mind. I think that this is the way everybody feels. I honestly do. And I think the Chargers know it. And I think they're going to go, you know what? Screw that. We're not going to... You guys think we don't have a chance against these guys? We've been playing. We're a 500 team. We haven't been playing that great. We got our butts kicked by the Vikings. You think that this is who we are, and they're the greatest team? Oh, really? Two biggest teams in the league, the Patriots and the Colts. We'll show you. They got something to prove. They got something to prove. Ah, there it is. But what about the Colts having something to prove coming off the loss? They got nothing, Eddie. They got nothing to prove. They're the world champions. But they lost to the Patriots last week. That's dumb. That's okay. They think they're going to come in here and roll over us. Well, we'll show you guys. They're starting their losing streak. Yeah. Thank you, Matt Damon. All right. Thank you, guys. Good call, Matt Damon. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Yeah, this is Bob. I'm a new caller, and I am listening to the show. It's great. I love it. Thank you, Bob. I wanted to make a comment about the Mexican, why the Mexican country does not have an Air Force or a Air Force.
Space program? Yes, go ahead, please. Because the adobe falls apart during the rain. Thank you very much. I actually heard that was true, that that is actually why they do not have a space shuttle. Coming up next, the lovely and talented Budweiser. Don't do that. You get him, Budweiser. Come on, Budweiser. Don't do that. Stacks on wax here. Coming up. He's going in for Missy today. And enjoy the rest of your day. Today, what do you got on the Nooner today, Boy Blunder? I have no idea. Big Boss Radio. Oh, come on. I asked him yesterday. How do you not know, bro? I asked him yesterday, and he said he didn't know yesterday, but he... I was busy playing with you guys. What do you want? I'll request lunch today with Budweiser on the Nooner. There it is. We'll see you tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show's out. Love your mouth.
