Mikey, Eddie, and Sky opened by debating whether Barry Bonds's federal indictment established that he lied about steroids or reflected prosecutors unfairly targeting baseball's biggest name, then they criticized Hillary Clinton for dodging Barack Obama and John Edwards at the Democratic debate. The crew turned P1 Nerd's personalized gifts and Boston Rob's courthouse interviews into extended comedy, especially as supposedly innocent interviewees admitted resisting arrest, breaking a man's jaw, or minimizing a knife attack. In Winner Plug All, Anthony McGee performed Soldier's Mind and Eddie Anthony won with Done Dreaming; later the hosts reacted to Amy Winehouse's apparent onstage drug use, Milana Dravnell's Oscar De La Hoya lawsuit, and a Texas neighbor fatally shooting two burglars despite a 911 dispatcher's warnings. Mikey closed with a direct account of alcoholism and withdrawal, saying faith in Jesus Christ helped him recover, build a family, and find hope.

What happened, in order

  1. Bonds Indicted

Mikey, Eddie, and Sky argued over whether Barry Bonds's federal perjury indictment proved he lied about steroids or showed that prosecutors had unfairly made him the face of baseball's steroid era.

  2. Democratic Debate Pile-On

The crew replayed Barack Obama and John Edwards attacking Hillary Clinton for evasive positions, then criticized Clinton for answering Edwards with complaints about mudslinging instead of specifics.

  3. Spyware Suspicion

Sky's strange computer pop-ups turned into an argument over whether ordinary spyware or her husband's browsing caused the problem, with P1 Nerd explaining that even a normal site could install it.

  4. Champion of Bad Movies

The hosts tested their theory that Sean loves box-office disasters and found that he liked 15 of the 18 notorious bombs he had seen, including Battlefield Earth and Hudson Hawk.

  5. P1 Nerd's Gifts

P1 Nerd distributed personalized gag gifts, including a Cast Away pineapple for Eddie, armpit sponges for Ashley, and an O.J. Simpson honey-baked-ham collage for Sky.

  6. Courthouse Confessions

Boston Rob's courthouse interviews featured a supposedly innocent man eventually admitting he resisted arrest, four men describing a Pacific Beach brawl that broke a jaw, and a sister minimizing her brother's knife attac

  7. Winner Plug All

Anthony McGee performed his soldier's-perspective song Soldier's Mind, but Eddie Anthony won 77.4 percent of the listener vote with Done Dreaming and promoted Viva in Stereo.

  8. Winehouse Onstage Video

The hosts watched footage that appeared to show Amy Winehouse pull something from her beehive and snort it onstage, then awkwardly tried to pivot into a live car-dealer read.

  9. Texas 911 Shooting

The show aired a 911 call in which a Texas man ignored a dispatcher's repeated warnings, confronted two burglars leaving his neighbor's house, and fatally shot both of them.

  10. Double-Dip War

A study about double-dipping sparked a germ argument that escalated when Eddie admitted he had secretly double-dipped into Sean's food during the 28-hour show.

  11. De La Hoya Photo Suit

Milana Dravnell reversed her doubts about the Oscar De La Hoya fishnet photos, declared them real, and joined her domineering attorney in alleging threats while seeking $100 million.

  12. Mikey's Recovery Testimony

Mikey described progressing from heavy drinking to physical withdrawal, said surrendering his life to Jesus Christ saved him, and offered hope to listeners facing addiction, grief, or despair.
