It is 6-0-2. The man that was killed Saturday night during a shootout with cops on the 8-0-5 was being watched by narcotics agents. Show me your lightning bolts. No? No. You don't want to? I don't want to show him. I don't have to. You don't want to show him. Okay, well, I understand. As the Chargers lost again to Jacksonville, 24-17. I was so irritated yesterday at home. Watching the game. Well, you know, because you were too. Irritated. What are we? Five and five? The Chargers? Yeah, but, you know, hey. We're still in first place, right? Wait. How pathetic is that? That a team can be five and five and in first place until they play tonight? That's so good. Yeah, it's pathetic, kind of. Yeah. That's real. Yeah. You know what? Those uniforms look cool.
Yeah, that is true. How about that? Okay. They do. I think they look really nice. I like the way the helmets look now. That blue against the white is really striking. It really stands out. Yeah. I like what it does to the player's eyes. I like how the Jacksonville's other helmets really show up on our helmets. You know, the stick marks. Yeah. That was really good. Do you like the contrast? Yeah, yeah, that's good. Contrast is pretty. Brutal. No. No, don't cry. I don't want to hear from you. Hang on a minute. No, I don't want to hear from you. Oh, no. You got nothing to say. I got a couple things. You're terrible. You're the worst coach in the history of football. Oh, that's not true. It is. Name one worse. Yeah, yeah, you're terrible. No, hang on. I don't want to talk to you. I don't want to talk to you today. No, he did. Maybe tomorrow, but not today. Just a couple comments. No, no. No, thank you.
Well, you're a bandwagoner then. No, I'm not a bandwagoner. The worst. You got to let us lose sometimes. Why? Because we're human beings. No. Sometimes we win and most, well, half the time we lose. You're average. Yeah. Half the time it turns out we're a 500 ball club. You're supposed to be above average. Who said, who says? Everybody. They do? Yeah. Except you. I'm still watching tape trying to figure it out. Whatever, you guys all suck. I told AJ when I came in here, it's a 10-year plan. That's a long time. I said, if you give me 10 years as a head football coach of this team, I will turn it around. I'll turn the program around. You did turn it around. For the worse. I turned it around. We were good until you... No.
I will not be silenced by you, Norv Turner. It's garbage! Wouldn't it be funny if the guy plays PlayStation and he can't win with that either? Like he's calling the wrong plays on PlayStation? Oh, man. Oh, man is right, Sky. Oh, man. Oh, man. All right, you guys ready for Thanksgiving? We'll see you later. Yeah. Are you stressed? Yeah. Anybody stressed about it? Yeah. Sky is stressed. I am stressed. You got a lot of things to do. Yes. It's at your house, right? Lots going on, yeah. Oh, boy. How many people? Ten. 10. Oh, holy cow, that's a lot. Hey, 10's a lot, but we know this lady, this friend of ours, her and her husband, Holly and Bo, have 30 people coming over. Oh, okay. 30 people. Well, they're crazy. They're insane. Yeah, basically. That's what my dad does every year. 30 people? Just about. That's crazy! That's ridiculous. Dude, how does he do that, man?
To me, at that point, you're a professional kitchen. You're a restaurant. This isn't his first dance. Yeah, you're not a guy. You're a restaurant at that point. Pretty much. My goodness. Wow. You've got, what do they call them, covers? In the restaurant business, they call every person served covers. At that point, you've got 30 covers you've got to do. You've got this going out of the kitchen. You've got to yell at your staff. Trying to turn them around real quick. Get a new family in. Gordon Ramsay thinks you're insane for taking it on. So anyway, my name is Mike. Let's introduce everybody on the show. I go by Mikey on the air. I am 37 years old. I have a terrible memory. In fact, this weekend, my dad and I went into the grocery store. He's 71 years old. When we came out, he knew where we were parked. I didn't. Oh. No. That's really comforting. So I have a lot to look forward to. You need that ginkgo coloba. I do. Give me some ginkgo. I saved $150 on car insurance by calling Ginkgo. No. That's what he used. Okay. Ginkgo Tomato. Eddie's our producer. He's our sports guy. 34 years old. And, oh, man. I heard Eddie yesterday say something on the radio. And then after the game, I thought back to his statement. And I was like, boy, were you right? Eddie said on the pregame show yesterday, Eddie's on the pregame for the Chargers. He says on the pregame, they do this segment.
called What's at Stake? Is that what they call it? What's at Stake? And they asked Eddie, so what's at stake today for the Chargers? Eddie says, an identity. And I was like, man, that's good. It's true. Like, who are they? He says, I can't figure out who this team is. Sometimes they're real good. Sometimes they're real bad. And guess what? I still don't know. So if their identity was at stake, guess what? They failed. Well, we know then. If their identity was at stake, we know. This is an average team. Yeah. See, because we weren't sure after last week. We were like, well, what was that? You know, the whole Indianapolis thing. Like, what was that? Right. So show us who you are. Show us your lightning bolts. And then that. No, thank you. Is it possible to say that to the team? Is it possible for the fans to go, you know what? No, thank you. Tough love it is. Tough love. Like, we're the fans. and we're Sky, and the Chargers are eggnog. Oh, yeah. And you say to them, No, thank you. No, thank you. I've had my little taste. And I find it unsavory. Yeah, I don't like it at all. I don't care for it. And you give me gas. Yeah. Well, okay. Oh, wait a minute. The gas. I just said, yeah, not really processing what he said, and then I processed it, and it hit me. So you and me agree. Comet grenade. That was weird. That turned out bad. That was odd. Okay, well.
Good morning. Sky is our news girl. She has curly hair. Today she's wearing a sweater vest. It's a sleeveless turtleneck. Wow. Sweater. Garbage! It's a sleeveless turtleneck sweater. Okay, if you say so. It says, you know what? It's chilly, but I may end up in Cabo later today. Well, really, it's like my core is freezing, but my arms are super hot. Yeah, super hot. As in sexy, yeah. Uh, Let's see, Shawnee. Shawnee, old boy. Shut up, Sean. I'll show you my arm fat. Okay, okay. What up, what up? Skye does this thing that's actually pretty hysterical. We give Skye a hard time, but I got to tell you, Skye's one of the funniest chicks I've ever met. Well, thank you. It's true, man. She's pretty funny. And she does this thing every once in a while where it's like she's on a float and she's waving, you know?
and she looked and then all of a sudden in the middle of it she gets like looks at her arm fat and gets real disgusted and like goes ew like at herself yeah and then sometimes eddie will be doing sports and i'll just take it and start flapping it around for him to see he really enjoys it totally not distracting at all no sean is our sound effects guy and And just from talking to Sean over the weekend, I know that he had a weekend that should be a new form of capital punishment. What are you talking about? Maybe a sedative of some sort. Like, it's a great prescription for insomniacs. No. Sean spent the weekend watching a DVD collection of a TV show called Banachek, which I've never heard of. Great show. Don't know who's in it. George Pappard. Who? George Pappard. I like a little George Pappard on my sandwiches. All right. Spread very thin. I like the essence of it, but I don't want it to be able to power. Great American actor. And he also watched... What was the other DVD? Perry Mason Season 2, Volume 1, starring Raymond Burr. Another great American actor. Also a gay man. Okay. Wow. Guy... All right. I'm just making an assumption here, but I think Sean collects...
TV shows that gay guys used to be in. I think that's the collection. George Pappard is not gay. Okay. Neither is Peter Falk. I was just taking it. Sean watches TV like if you were on vacation and there was only one English speaking channel on TV. And you're like, these are the shows that are on. That is ridiculous. That's it. That's how Sean watches TV. Excuse me. That's so true. You're like, oh, what is this? You'd rather watch the Arabic stuff. Yeah, it's more entertaining. That's for sure. Banachek. Great show. Check it out. B-A-N-A-C-E-K. We're good. Thank you. Polish. Ashley is our assistant producer. She's very young. 24 years of age. Her mother was in town this weekend. Did you guys do anything interesting together? No, we had a pretty peaceful weekend, but it was really funny. I'm realizing that I'm growing up to turn out just like my mom.
And we went to, like, Saturday night, we went to Henry's Market to get, like, fresh food. We were going to cook. And I was like, Mom, cook, like, so I can watch you cook and learn. And we were getting some salmon, and we were talking to the guy. And we're, like, just talking, not realizing that he's kind of listening to us. And he's like, are you guys mother and daughter? And we're like, yeah, we are. Why would you think that? And he was like, oh, you guys just kind of talk the same. And I realized we were both sitting there like, I don't know. Do you even know what that means? Like, how much is that? Like, totally, like, bouncing off each other. I would love to meet your mom. Yeah, basically my mom is like an older version of me. Like very out of it, very spacey, silly, like laughs at everything. I would love, so you guys didn't do anything interesting all weekend? No, we made an apple pie. We went to yoga. You guys went to yoga together? Yeah, we went to a heated yoga class together. A heated yoga class. Is that where you get into an argument? No, no. You do yoga and you debate. It's like in a 110 degree room and it's for 75 minutes and then you're doing like all these... It was an intermediate yoga class. That sounds filthy. It was really intense. You probably lost like 50 pounds. It was really intense. That must smell awesome. Oh, what an awful class. It was cool. So we did that. Yeah, we did. She sounds hot. Rob, Boston Rob, is from Boston. He's our phone screener. He...
I think he should grow back the mustache myself. I'm trying to. It's killing me. I hate that it's gone. He had a goatee, and now he's just got a goat. There is no tea. He needs to grow back the tea part. Yeah. And so, Rob, interesting weekend for you. Watching football, that's about it. Yeah, and did all my Thanksgiving shopping. Cooking for eight this year. It's going to be crazy. A lot of disaster. No way, dude. Got the recipes, got all my ingredients, I'm ready to go. I'm going to start everything Wednesday night. He takes some big stuff, that Boston Rob. Yeah, sometimes. Hey, guess what? He's got a new Thanksgiving song. Really? Oh, no. Every year we have Rob do his version of Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song. Oh, yeah. And so he's got a new one. Yeah. Play that for you in a little bit. Zeth is the youngest person on the show. He's 22 years old. He is a big, tall, white kid. Accurate. One day, Eddie said, you remind me of Charlie Brown. Oh, that sounds perfect. You walk like Charlie Brown. You talk like Charlie Brown. He's kind of our lovable loser. Oh. That's a good way to put it. Lovable. Lovable.
He's so lovable that he was, I found out in the hallways, profiled again over the weekend by police, made to take off his shirt in an underground parking lot, and to prove that he was not gang-affiliated because of his tattoos. Wait a second. What? Just like Charlie Brown used to be. No, I never saw that. That is so creepy. Right? Who he really is. He's this sweet, shy, sensitive, A guy that cries when Ashley yells at him. Good grief. But he looks like Ed Norton in American History X. And so cops pulled him over this weekend, right? Yep. What'd they pull you over for? Registration. What's the deal with that? I can't get the car to pass smog, so I can't get the tags for the car. The registration's paid, I just can't get it to pass smog.
Brutal. Yeah, so they pulled me over, checked my tattoos, ran me in the gang profile, whatever they do. Oh, brother. He's like, do you have anything on your chest? I'm like, besides the shirt? I mean, he's like, no tattoos. Wow, good time for jokes. It's always good to make jokes to the police officer that thinks that you may be gang-affiliated. Was Linus with you, or were you just rolling solo? Pound you. Linus carried the blanket, right? Yeah. You should have hid your tattoos in that blanket. There you go. So, finally, they let you go because they realized he's not a threat. Yeah. They just wrote me a ticket and let me go along my way. And how did that make you feel afterwards? Like, are you used to this? Yeah. Like, you know?
I get pulled over quite a bit, and I'd say once in every three times I have to, you know. He searched me, you know, had me get out of the car, searched the vehicle, and then was looking at the tattoos. And he actually ran me. They normally don't run me. They just look at the tattoos and kind of figure it out. But I guess he thought they were gang-related for some reason. Hey, Sky, I say better to be safe than sorry. Yeah. Take a look at him. No. Looks like there's something going on. No, I don't think so. Sure. You've got to take a look and make sure nothing's bad. Yeah. I don't think so. I mean, we're all happy. Nothing was. I'm still not sure. No, I don't think that's cool. It's the same reason that you pat him down every day and make him empty his pockets. No, but I don't. You do that every day. But I don't. I never have. Are you going to pretend that before the show starts, you don't say spread him. It's not. And you pat him down. No. And you go turn around. Never. You do. And then he turns around. Never. Okay. Not once. I guess we're supposed to do, you know, bits now. What was Zeth doing in an underground parking garage? Selling cocaine. Oh, wow. Zeth did, baby. What were you doing in an underground parking garage? I was at a casino because my friend's girlfriend works there and she was getting off work and we went to go pick her up. So you were with someone? Yeah. He got pulled out, searched, all nine yards. Damn. Well, there it is. Jeez. It's horrible.
Big stuff happening over the weekend in San Diego in the news. This thing that happened on the 805 was crazy. Guy firing shots on the 805. Scott, I'll tell you about that in just a second. 570-1053 is our phone number. So give us a call. You can talk about anything you want at the beginning and end of every show. P1 Harold. Hey, is Coach Norv still around? Yeah, I'm right here. No. Yeah, I... Hey, I just want to check on Sean Merriman, man. He got laid out yesterday. Let me talk for a moment about Sean if I can. Oh, boy. A lot of people don't know this, but Sean had cold, parvo, the flu. Wait, really? All those things? He had polio yesterday. And they let him play? They let him play? It's dangerous. Well, that's what a warrior he is. But he got blown up by a 5'7".
Running back. Wow. That's your version. No, I mean, I have eyes. Oh, wow. It's everybody's version. He was fighting off the effects of the polio, which really... No, he doesn't have polio. He's terrified of it. Yeah, it was a bad day. It was a bad day for Sean. It was a bad day for the Chargers. It was a bad day for fans of the San Diego Chargers. Who won answers? How many times did they show that thing? They replayed that like four times. I counted how many times they replayed it. How many? 725 times. Wow. Wow. That's a lot. That's a lot. That's embarrassing. Hey, God bless you guys. God bless you. Thank you. P1 Luds. Yeah, I was for Eddie. Go ahead. I was wondering if you think North Turner is still going to be around next year. Well, what do you think? I sure hope not. What about AJ Smith's decision on having him come in and coach? What's up with that? Can I ask a question of you guys, both of you guys, Luds and Eddie? I got a question for you guys. Don't you think that AJ's pride is too big? Even if they lost every game from this point on, don't you think AJ's pride is too big to admit he made a wrong decision? Well, by pride, I think you mean ego. And the answer to that question is yes. His ego is too big for him to admit he made a mistake.
in hiring Norv Turner. Now, here's the deal. The Chargers are still probably going to go to the playoffs because they're going to win their division. Their division is terrible. And, you know, they'll probably win their division and go to the playoffs and we'll be one and done again. And, you know, they'll find a reason why. They'll say, Ted Cottrell, you're a terrible defensive coordinator. You're fired. And he'll probably be the scapegoat. And then they'll, you know, at this point, do we hire an offensive coordinator? Do we, you know, I mean, it's just, it's bad. I agree with you. This is going to be over real quick. I think that's how they'll do it. Right. Maybe they'll promote somebody like Ron Rivera to be the new D. Come on. I saw the craziest movie this weekend. What? Not at the movies. I had it. I have a few movies that I have that I haven't opened. They're still in cellophane. And so I was online, and you guys know that I'm a big fan of this director, Alejandro González Inherito. He directed Amores Peros, 21 Grams, and Babble. So I'm on there, I'm looking up his stuff, and I found out that all of his movies are written by the same dude. This guy named Guillermo Araga. By the same guy.
So I start clicking on him, and I'm looking around. And I see this movie that he wrote called The Three Burials of Marquesas Estrada. And this movie was recommended to me by my brother, my oldest brother, Mark. So I got it, and when it came in the mail, I looked at the cover and decided, I'll never watch this. It looked like a Western. And I was just like, eh, I'll never get around to this. But because it was written by the guy that wrote the three movies I loved, I decided to put it in. It's crazy. It's not a western. It's crazy. It's not a western. It's crazy. Eddie, you know about it? Yeah. Have you ever seen it? No. It's crazy. Is it a western? I've heard it's a western. It is. It is not a western. What is it? Crazy. Oh, wow. That's crazy. That's crazy. P1 Gunslinger is on the line, and then we're going to get to this story about the shooting on the 805. P1 Gunslinger, are you there? Yeah, good morning. How are you guys doing? Good. I just wanted to know what kind of preventative treatments Sean uses on his toothbrush after watching something on television this week, and I thought he might want to hear that. Sean's a germaphobe. Correct. What did you see on television? Well, on Mythbusters, I guess there's a myth that your toothbrush gets fecal matter on it just from the air in the bathroom, and so they did tests.
And sure enough, even when they took cautious steps, they kept it out of the atmosphere, you know, covering it up. It's still just being out there in the bathroom, even three seconds, would gain minute pieces of pieces on it. Particles. Particles of... Yeah, there you go, particles. Sean, did you know that, Sean? Sean has a look on his face right now, like irritation, like whatever, like... Sean, talk to us. What's going on? Well, first of all, my bathroom is not in the actual toilet, is not in the same area as my toothbrush. Okay. They're in different areas. Gotcha. In addition to that, I have one of those electric toothbrushes.
And it's kept in a, you have to keep it in this like pouch, the head to keep it in a pouch. And that's stored in a drawer. Wow. He goes to extraordinary lengths. So he's good. I already thought about it. There you go. Guy is good. So, Skye, what happened over the weekend? What was this 805 story? Dude, this is crazy. Okay, so I guess narcotics agents were following these two men. And, you know, obviously they had reason why they were watching these two men. So these two dudes roll up to an apartment in City Heights on 34th Street near El Cajon Boulevard about 830 on Saturday night. One of the guys rolls in. um shots fired the guy comes running out um in the apartment six people were shot four women and two men one of those guys ended up actually dying you know obviously this is all stuff they found out after everything went down so when the guy comes running out of the apartment um the agents try to arrest him
At that point, the shooter, the guy who came out of the apartment, ran and ended up, and as he's running, he's like shooting at the cops, he ran and they said he was able to squeeze under a fence that led onto the northbound lanes of the 805. Okay, let's stop right there because I have audio here of San Diego Police Department spokesperson Kevin Rooney explaining why the officers did what they did next. They opened fire on him. Here's why. Cut 71. It is my understanding that the suspect continued to fire as he ran through the lanes of traffic back at officers and they in turn returned fire. Dudes running across the 805. Firing his pistol. Yeah. Oh, my God. Jeez. Yeah. So one officer actually was shot, but luckily survived that shooting. So they say that, yeah, that other cops obviously were called when all this started, and they immediately started blocking cars off in that area of the 805 because they were scared that people could get hit by these bullets that are flying everywhere. Eventually, the police did shoot and kill this guy on the 805,
and 805, a portion of it was closed all the way through Sunday morning. Crazy. And then the guy who was sitting in the car, basically the getaway driver kind of guy, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Oh my. I didn't see it, but last night was the 2007 American Music Awards. Now, apparently, lots of things to talk about with this. There's a country band called Sugar Land. They covered... Irreplaceable by Beyonce. I understand that's a doozy. Also, the big winners last night were Carrie Underwood and Daughtry. Right, Sky? Yep, they both won three awards each. American Idol people. Now, we all know Daughtry is a bit of a... What is it? What's the word? A-hole. That's one. Well, he's very...
Egotistical? Egotistical, you know, now that he's won. He hasn't won anything. He didn't win American Idol. Now that he's a success. Right. So what awards did he win last night? Daughtry won Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist. Wait a second. Wait a second. Stop there. That's crazy. For those of you that don't know, adult contemporary is like Kixi. He won Favorite Kixie Guy. But he's a big rocker, I thought. He thought he was a rocker. He also won Favorite Breakthrough Artist as well as Favorite Album. So, guys, you saw it. Which clip should I play? Him accepting which one? The adult contemporary one was kind of funny because you could kind of tell on stage. First of all, he brings... his band on stage with him, which you're like, your band? Who are those people? And you can tell he's very uncomfortable winning the Adult Contemporary Award. It's pretty funny. Cut 34. Wow. I'm really glad we got to do this because I forgot a lot of people while ago. So first, I'd like to think this band because it's not a one-man show and they make it happen for us every night. Um...
Howard Benson for making a great record. Sterling and everybody at 19, our management. Y'all throw something in there. Come on. I'd like to thank Michael McDonald. I want to thank Kara, Brandon, Joshua. I love you. And I would love to thank my wife and my daughter and all of my family and the fans. Duran Duran. It's weird because my brother saw him. in concert in phoenix and said that the one thing that he was really turned off by is he does a thing that my brother perceives as very disrespectful to the band which is that at the end of the show he leaves the stage like elvis like you know he leaves them out there and he has to like leave the stage get applause leave the stage before they're allowed to stop playing oh i see so
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like normally, like with the Dave Matthews band, everybody leaves the stage at once, comes back for the encore at once as a group. Which means that when you get the applause, you know. Now, I pointed out to my brother. I said, well, it's not like they are. He's supposed to be a solo artist. They're supposed to be there to back him. He goes, yeah, I don't like it, though. To me, it seems very egotistical. It seems very whatever. And I said, OK, but. On this clip, it sounds like he's trying to really include everybody. He's doing the whole thing. I wonder if he's taking any criticism about that. Like, if other people think, come on, dude, get over yourself, start, blah, blah, blah. I wonder if he's taking any of that. And so he's like, come on, guys, we're all coming on stage. I just thought it was...
pretty cheese ball that, like, his bandmates were naming, like, when they were thanking people, they're naming, like, adult contemporary artists. Right. They're like, I'd like to thank Michael McDonald. And then they got the answer. Duran Duran. It's like, oh, so you guys are too cool for this award. Right. Oh, I get it. I get it. Whatever. Dorks. Idiot. Let's see. So you guys want to hear this Irreplaceable cover? Beyonce, Irreplaceable by Sugar Land. Let's do this. We take a break. When we come back, we'll listen. I hear it's a disaster. It's a disaster. Love it. So we'll come back and we'll do that. Mitch Hedberg in the Stand-Up Spotlight. The Stand-Up Spotlight on 5-3. I order the club sandwich all the time, and I'm not even a member, man. I don't know how I get away with it. I like my sandwiches with three pieces of bread. So do I. Well, let's form a club. Okay, but we need some more stipulations. Yes, we do. Instead of cutting the sandwich once, let's cut it again.
Hell yeah, four triangles. We'll position them into a circle. And in the middle, we will dump chips. Or potato salad. Cool. I can deal with that. Let me ask you a question. How do you feel about frilly toothpicks? I'm for them. Well, this club is for them, then. I like to take a toothpick and throw it in the forest and say, you're home. Rock 105.3. Here's some words of wisdom my father used to share with me when it came to money. He used to say, Dr. Phil, if you really want a family, all it takes is a $50 bill and a drive across the border for a black market baby. And then he said, how do you think we got you? Catch Dr. Phil. That's terrible. Only on The Mikey Show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Little Stevie. Little Stevie to get you going. To Monday and a short week. 6.39. Britney Spears reportedly is not allowed to drive with her kids in the car anymore after a court hearing on Friday. Congratulations to El Cajon's Jimmy Johnson, who won his second consecutive Nextel Cup title. So yeah, there wasn't a lot of good things happening yesterday with the San Diego Chargers, but here's a highlight.
Cut 73. Rivers a shotgun snap. Sets the feet. Drills it towards the end zone into coverage. Touchdown! Over the middle it goes to Antonio Gates with 5-0-6 to play. That's a bright spot. Oh yeah, come on Eddie. Absolutely. You get fired up about that. Totally. Then what? Well wait, how about this? Come on, I'll give you another one. Okay. Cut 74. Second down and goal from the 6. Pitch back to LT. Guns it around the right side of the 5-4-3-2-1. Touchdown! And the Chargers are back We got to have a camera in here so you can see Eddie. Eddie's going, yeah. And then there's some other stuff that happened that we don't need to highlight. Oh, we don't have a highlight clip of Phillip Rivers throwing an interception at the end of the game there? Let me see. I'm looking through my paperwork here. I don't seem to have that. So I don't have that. I can't really play that back. Aw. Eddie just mentioned it right now. The NASCAR season is over.
San Diego's very own Jimmy Johnson. He won the whole thing. So this guy's really disappointed she doesn't get to watch any more races this year. Here is Jimmy. You know what is really weird, by the way? This is what's really strange. And I don't know if anybody really realizes this is how it goes. The way that somebody wins that big NASCAR championship is these cumulative points. And so at the end of yesterday's race, Matt Kenseth won the race, but Jimmy Johnson won like the whole thing because he had the most points. So you got a guy that just won the race, right? Who like wants to be celebrating winning the race. And then like there's this other guy celebrating.
Oh, yeah. Ken's just celebrating like nobody cares. Oh, that sucks. Because immediately following, you win the championship. The big one. And the confetti's falling on him. He's hoisting the trophy. Right. And Ken's just over there like, hey, what about me? I just won something. Never mind. Forget it. Who cares? But here was Jimmy Johnson on his little radio when he was winning the championship. Cut 16. All right, then. Don't worry. I heard they went to Chuck E. Cheese. I don't know if that's true. They've got a great band. They do? They have a great band. That's a good point. Dream, think, and sing. Okay. Let's see. What else is going on? The Mother Goose Parade happened in El Cajon over the weekend? I guess it was off the hook. It's a big deal.
I think it was a parade in El Cajon. The Mother Goose Parade. And they had all these celebrities and stuff out there. What is it? What is the Mother Goose Parade? It's an annual parade in El Cajon. This is the 61st annual was the one that was over the weekend. They say that this one was huge. They say about 150,000 people came out for this one this year. Some of the celebrities out there this year were Corbin Blue from High School Musical, Mario Lopez, Catherine McPhee, John Schneider. Some chick from Hannah, Montana. Yeah. Yeah. Efren Ramirez, Napoleon Dynamite, Dean Cain, Drake Bell from Nickelodeon's Drake and Josh, Adam Rodriguez from CSI Miami. There were over 35 floats. It's crazy. That's a big deal. Catherine McPhee. I mean, give me a break. So before we went to break, I told you that we were going to come back and I was going to play you this. country band performing last night on the american music awards called sugarland they're called sugarland and they did a cover of beyonce's song irreplaceable now for those of you that need a little reminding this is what the song sounds like all the white guys in a line to the left is that how it goes that's my stuff yes if i bought it please don't
Now, I'm listening to the words of that, and I'm thinking to myself now, is there something in the lyrics that they were like, that's really beautiful. I want to cover it. Right. I wonder why they wanted to cover it. Is that conducive to a country song? Right. Like, it's very hip-hop, you know, styled. Let's see. Cut. 33. Hey. Hey, y'all. Here's a new one from Sugar Land on US 95.7. Doing a hoedown down. Get it, dude. Get it, dude. Get it, dude. Thank you. There's more. No, no, no, no. Thank you. Thank you very much. Are you sure? I'm tapping. The listeners, please. So, Eddie, I only watched the first half last night, but I know all night they were teasing this big thing with Beyonce. Was that what they were teasing? No, I don't think so. Because I was going to say, if that was it, dude. No, she had nothing to do with that. She was no part of that.
I wonder what she thought of it. I mean, obviously, you had to give her permission, right? Yeah. My goodness. Talk about a train wreck. These dorky guys with their ukuleles up there playing. Oh, my God. That's one of the weirdest things I've ever heard. That was just weird. It was like you were on some sort of country acid. You took some sort of hillbilly mushrooms. You know what I mean? Yeah. Let's get to some real music now. You guys ready? Oh. Let's hear some real music. Well, what we have is Boston Rob's annual Thanksgiving song. Boston Rob. Now, Skye, you didn't appear to be as jubilant as everyone else. Why not? I don't know. I don't know why. Do you hate Thanksgiving? Yeah, how can you despise Thanksgiving? Well, no, I don't hate Thanksgiving, but I love the Sandler song, and so it's hard to imagine. Rob, really? Really? Well, I disagree with that. He did one last year. I thought it was beautiful and moving. Beautiful and moving. Beautiful and moving. Gets you in the mood. Quality spirit. In fact, it took me weeks and weeks to finally decide to start playing Third Day Tunnel at the end of the show on Fridays. I considered the Thanksgiving song from last year. Oh, stop it. Because it was full of such hope and inspiration. You're full of that. I remember that. Okay, fine. But, Boston Rob.
has done his Adam Sandler cover. Yeah, it's a parody. He does Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song every year, and this year's no different. Here is the 2007 version. Sky loves hair. What the? What the? See? Sky loves it, honey. Oh, and I love Sky jokes. Come on, Thanksgiving. Honey baked for Sky. I feel bad for Seth when Ashley makes him cry. That's them for Skye. What? She'd enjoy a ham pie. What the hell? Ash can be a bee. Ash what's like a dude. Ash loves to take bites of Mikey's food. Skye's nickname is Murph. Sean's the weirdest guy on this earth. Salt in his milk. His yogurt real warm. He gets horny when Animal Planet's on. Hammy dammy doo. Hammy scammy dap. Sky had a manservant used to be black. Oh, Eddie is a funny guy. Kay boy, I love to make fun of Sky. That's right. Thanksgiving is the best holiday.
Three to one, odds we find out Zeth is gay. Oh, my God. Saul's a big fan of Mr. Spock and stands up while I'm watching Matlock. White meat, dark meat, you just can't lose. If Skye had a choice, we'd know what she would choose. Ham-a-lam-a-ding and ham-a-lam-a-dong. Skye's husband reference in the last verse of this song. In the hollow. of Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. That's beautiful. Wow. A lot of inspiration. You gave me a lot of inspiration to write that. But that has a thing to do with Thanksgiving. What? That's all about Thanksgiving. Well, no, it's not. It was all about it. It's probably the stupidest song he's ever done. No. Opposite. I think. You don't get it. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous. Let's see what listeners thought. Mikey Show, hello. Oh, my gosh. Hey, this is P1BS, and I was the one who called in about Boston Rob's song about the Red Sox and how disappointed I was in that. But now, after hearing this song, I have to say, he's got all my respect back. Wow. See? Thank you very much. Did you hear that? So lame. I thought it was beautiful. It's gorgeous. Well, I'm sure you were the only one not referenced in it, the only one he didn't take a shot at, so of course you loved it. That is true.
That is definitely true. Oh, my God. P1 Sanjaya. Dude, Hams Down, that's the best song ever. Really, Sanjaya? You're going to do this. Hams Down, it was the best one yet. Whatever. The best one ever, dude. Awesome. All of Boss and Rob's songs, that was the best one ever. Thank you very much. Just stop. Mikey Show. Oh, my God, D-Rob. You outdid yourself again, dude. Guys are stupid. I liked it. I love it. I want seconds. I want to take a nap. Sean Merriman is coming up on the show. Eddie. Eddie was smiling and then I said that and instantly his face went to oh no. It's next. Hey Mikey. The Mikey Show is on. I just want to say I love this show. I listen to you guys. Every single day. I know which one you're talking about. I like it. Yeah, I like. See, it always works on me. The only ones I don't. Let me tell you the ones I don't like. I don't like the commercials that use like.
Old songs. I like it when I'm introduced to something, but I don't like, you know, that song from the UPS commercial. That's a song we all knew. It kind of bothers me. I hate it when they use like, oh, you know which one I hate? I hate the Pizza Hut one that uses, I can't get enough of you, baby. Oh, yeah. Thank you. It's so boring when I hear it. I'm just like, oh, I'm rolling. While we're on the topic, while we're on the topic of commercials that annoy me, unless we have them online, do we have them online right now? We do? Yes. Well, then we got to do this later. We got to talk to Sean right now. Hi, Sean. Sean, are you there? Sean? I don't think you're picking up. Yeah, I'm here. Hi, Sean. Sean? Hey, what's up? Sean, it's a tough day. It's a tough day to talk to you.
After this particular loss, this is, I guess, the thing that lots of people are going to want to know, so let's get it out of the way. What happened on the Maurice Jones-Drew play? Have you seen it yet? Oh, I've seen it. I've seen it plenty of times. You know, after they ran that play, they actually took it from Chicago. I think it was my rookie year, we played him. And just blocked me to my side, and he caught me. I didn't see him. Eddie, do you laugh about it, Sean, or do you get kind of angry about it? No, it pisses me off, but at the same time, you know, I'm thinking they're running a screen to my side, so I'm playing a screen. So I seen the little guy. He's launching that man. I'm thinking they're running the screen to my side. He caught me. Sean, after the game, you were pretty vocal in the locker room. You were upset. Talk to me about it. Well, it's not hard to know what teams are doing right now. Minnesota, I get three runs to my side the whole entire game. This game, I get two runs to my side the whole entire game.
We got to figure out a better scheme for teams, not a double team, and isolate me from the ball, period. I went to them and expressed that I want to be involved, but we got to do something to change that, so teams can't do that. I had a long talk with Mike Heiss after the game, and that was really one of the only goals they had during the game, is to keep me away from the ball. Well, I don't know anything about how this stuff works. I'm not a defensive coordinator, but why not move you around to different places? You know, I mean, at this point, I'm just frustrated. I already expressed my opinions and what I feel about certain things. So now I'm just going around what's called. You know, it's not like I play middle linebacker. I'm really a standard defense and outside linebacker. So if a team wants to try to keep me away from the ball and running the ball and running away, they can. It's not hard because I play one side of the field. Eddie, you got a question? Yeah. Sean, one of the things you mentioned in the locker room yesterday is, the team has to hate losing. And is it, do you feel that a lot of these players and a lot of the coaches, they just don't hate losing like you do? It's tough for me. It's tough for me because, you know, how I overcome anything else. If a guy, you know, the running back, Maurice Jones, if he comes and gets a good lick on me, you know, it pisses me off. If somebody beat me on one play, I mean, it pisses me off. If I can't get to the quarterback, it pisses me off.
I just don't know how much guys get pissed off by certain things like that. Who's next? It's Baltimore here, isn't it? Yeah, Baltimore here. Well, I mean, I just don't know what will be said in the locker room this week. I don't know what's going to get you guys fired up. And I think that a lot of people are kind of scratching their heads going, there's so many issues. Which one is it? Exactly, and I'm scratching my head just as much as the other people scratching their heads. I mean, one tackle yesterday, I've never got one tackle in my whole entire life. It's horrible right now. You know, like I said, if they want to double-team me and keep me away from the ball and run to the opposite side, you know, those who watch the game and really understand football know what's going on.
It's not difficult to understand what's going on. The teams are going to run away from my side of me. I got one run the first half to my side and one run the second half. That was pretty much it. I got a rush to pass. I got two holding calls. I hit the quarterback three times. People who watch the game know what's going on. It's just up to us. I have a question, Sean. Sean, I have a question. Help me to understand here. Last year, You had 1,427 sacks and set a world record with 1,000,000... I mean, you had a ton of sacks last year. You were very effective last year. What was different last year? The ability to make changes. What do you mean? The offense coordinators, they know what the strengths are of their defense. They know we like to get out of the quarterback. They know we like to apply pressure, so... Now they're doing it. I mean, take, for example, Houston Texans 35-3 in the third quarter. They're still running the ball. They don't want to throw it. You know, if we're close enough in the game, if it's only 7-10 or 7-14, the football game, a team feels that they can still run the ball. They necessarily don't have to pass it yet. So are you saying that the difference between last year and this year is that opposing offensive coordinators have figured you guys out? No.
I mean, football is a game of chess. You can never figure a team out. You're not supposed to anyway. But right now, we've become so predictable all the time that officers know it. I mean, Jeff Saturday from the Indianapolis Colts was calling out my stunts when I saw the blitzes. He knew when I was coming. He knew what gap I was coming. We can't become that predictable when teams know we're going. Are you saying that because during the game, Jeff Saturday, you could hear him? Oh, yeah. Yeah, and I know Jeff. He says it with a smirk during the game. He knows what gap I'm coming. He knows what I'm blitzing. And we're not changing them. We're not changing them. So there's not really too much I can do about that. There's not really too much anybody can do about that but one person. Right. Well, I hope that this week, maybe it'll be this week. Maybe it'll be going into, what are we, week 11? It'll be week 12. It'll be week 12. Maybe going into week 12. there will be a situation in the film room or the locker room where somebody, and I don't know who, but somebody will say, hey, we better change the way we're doing it. That's already been done.
That's already been done. Okay, that's already been done. So, well, where are we then? Where are we then? If it's already been done and teams are still figuring it out and know what is going on. Maybe we really have to stress it. Maybe you really have to stress it. Do like a PowerPoint presentation about it. Like what can be done, Sean, at this point? Are you saying it has been changed? No, it hasn't. Oh, it hasn't been changed. That's what needs to be stressed. That's what needs to be stressed. They got to stress to the person or the people that draw it up. You got to stress to them and really be stressful. Sean, maybe you bring Skye into the film room because she can beat people up like nobody else. Let me tell you, this woman... If she'll convince Ted Cattrall... I don't like to put it that way. I'm just very good at getting a point across. She is good at getting a point across. We'll rent you out to her. Yeah, for a price, we can have her go tell them. A consulting fee, if you will. That's right. If that's what it takes, I mean, she can ride with me to the school. There you go. I'm in. There you go. You're part of the team. All right, Sean. Hey, listen. Let's get it back together with Baltimore. Hopefully, it gets turned around. And as always, man, it's a pleasure talking to you. I appreciate it. Thanks. Thank you, Sean. Catch the Bud Light Sean Merriman report exclusively every Monday on The Mikey Show. On Rock 105.3. The Mikey Show will be right back. Bye!

So be careful if you're out there to go a little slower. Otherwise, though, we're pretty much action or pre-clearing up one here at Northbound 805 just past Plaza Boulevard. It involves a big rig and a car. They've got everything on the right shoulder, but a little bit of a visual distraction with the tow trucks on the scene there. South Bay Freeway opens today. That new expressway, I should say, goes from the 54 in Spring Valley down to the 905. It's going to be free for the first two weeks. So, me and Skip and Steve were watching the Charger game yesterday. Oh, really? Where? At my house. Oh, at your place? At my place, yeah. Okay, cool. You know, I made some chicken wings. Ooh, spicy or regular? Spicy, of course, you know. And, you know, we were upset about the game, drowning our sorrows with some brews on the patio. You, Skip and Steve. From Robins Brothers. They're the world's biggest engagement ring store, by the way. Right.
And we were chatting it up, talking about how dumb guys are when it comes to proposing and how they need to figure it out and how if guys knew that Robbins Brothers had a concierge service, that maybe that would help them out a little bit. Give them ideas on the perfect proposal and things of this nature. And then Skip got really drunk. Oh, again? Yeah. Wow, that guy likes to have fun. Yeah. Well, he had a designated driver, so it was all right. Well, yeah, of course. Well, Steve doesn't drink. Right. Skip is the booze hound. But we had a great time, and you can have a great time. Just go into Robbins Brothers. They're the world's biggest engagement ring store. You can see for yourself. It's located on the corner of Friars Road and Frizee for a store near you, because I guess they have multiple locations, but I go to the ones on Friars and Frizee because it's the best one to me. Boston Rob. I'm getting real big into jujitsu. And Ashley. I want to eventually join a hip-hop group and, like, perform on the weekends. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Yes. Okay. Hey, it's 714. An Oceanside security guard was arrested this weekend after he allegedly impersonated a cop and tried to trick a woman into giving him sexual favors. I don't know if you can tell from the last interview, but the Chargers lost. Sean Merriman is mad. And what can you say? You know? It is what it is. It is what it is. Sean Merriman is very mad. That's true. And I wouldn't want to be going against him in practice this week. No. No. No, thank you. I'll pass. You just made... Oh, man. You just made, like, the hair stand up on my arms. No. Did Carlos Polk have a real good hit yesterday? Oh, man. A stick? Well, yeah. Him and Maurice Jones Drew, you know, the guy that laid out Sean. Right. Yeah.
They basically ran into each other at full speed while returning a kickoff, and it was nasty. Cut 75. Cut 75. To the 8-yard line, it's Maurice Jones-Drew. Rems it to the 15-20. Bam! Oh, my goodness. At the 25-yard line, what a knockout. Carlos Polk. You can hear it in their voice. Eddie had a little fun with Hank Bauer in the pregame show yesterday. What do you mean? He was talking about how last week Hank said this. He did that in Miami for years. Second and five at the Charger 32 right hash. Hand off Tomlinson. Guns it up the middle and gets three yards. And only does that because he's a very strong man right there. You got Keonta Dawson with the tackle. 10-10 to go third quarter. 23-7 San Diego. Happened to see LT naked Thursday. Hank, what? Hank, what? Hank. I'm Hank.
So what did you say to Hank this week, Eddie? Well, I said, you know, we were breaking down the game, obviously, and what we were going to expect to see, and I said, you know, Hank, I think the most important question that is on everybody's mind is, did you see anybody else naked this week? Oh, that's awesome. He didn't like that. So, yeah, I'm getting emails about people inviting me to next year's Mother Goose Parade, and And Eddie says it was a big deal. Eddie, did you go? I did not go, but my wife did. She brought her nieces. See, this is going to be a, this is going to be one of those now you're a married guy thing. Oh, yeah. You know, Eddie got married in July. So there's an obvious progression. When you get married, you get married, you have the kids, you start going to parades. Yeah. Well, you got to get a house. Are you doing that? Are you looking yet? Yeah. I started, I picked my agent. Oh, he did? Cool. Yes, and we are going to start discussing the plans on buying a house. Wow. Oh, that's exciting. You get the house. You get the dog. You get the cats. You get the... Well... You have to have the two... Well, no cats. Definitely no cats. And, yeah, dog is going to be an issue. It's going to be an issue. Why? Why would it be an issue? Well, I've already...
made the declaration that i mean the second we get a house i'm buying a dog or i'm getting a dog really yeah because i've always had a dog growing up and i love dogs and i want to have a dog but i didn't i don't want to have him right now because you know having a condo i don't think that's fair to the dog so i want to have a yard and stuff and so i'm going to get a dog and the wife is not telling me no but she's definitely not like oh yeah sure let's get a dog she's laid out some parameters about the dog which i ignore i'm confused so you and your wife are having a discussion about getting a dog or you are telling your i'm telling her okay well there you go guy wants a dog man's best friend yeah but you're you know you married into uh you're in a team now and the team decides yeah but i'm the captain of the team that's right He's the team captain. You may be the team captain at your house. I'm the team captain at my house. See, we're co-captains at my house. That's not true. Yeah, you couldn't even say that with a straight face. Yeah, look at you. You're laughing right now. I'm not laughing right now. You are laughing. I'm not laughing. Yes. Well, okay. I'm confused. So you're just basically straight out telling her. Skye, let me illustrate it a little bit better. It's like it works at your house, only in reverse.
That's not how it works at my house. At my house, we have discussions about things. Sky's having a hard time figuring this one out. Sky, let me explain. It's like your house, only opposite. No, that's not how things go at my house. We have discussions at my house. We don't lay down the wall. The discussions end with the team captain winning. Not always. Not always. Name me the last time that didn't. I mean, with something important. I'm not talking about should we have bubble gum tonight while watching a movie. I'm talking about something real and substantial that you... Look at her. Oh, man. Wouldn't you be able to come up with me right away? No, we don't argue very well. He knows better. We don't argue very well. He knows better. No, we just have discussions about things. I'll get back to you. I can't think of anything. Get back to me. We'll give you until 2012. Shut up. Eddie, so what does your wife say about this? Oh, going to the Bay Area for Christmas. Spending Christmas in the Bay Area. Peppered steak. Husband won out. Well. Yeah, we are having tri-tip. So in other words, you said. So wait a minute. What you're telling me is. I want to spend Christmas morning at home. You want to spend Christmas morning at home. He wants to spend Christmas morning at his parents' home. I have a theory. I have a theory about this. Why? The reason that he won.
Is because if he hadn't won and you won, you realized that would be real bad for you because his mom would despise you? No, his parents weren't even in the loop. Every year we go the day after Christmas. Oh, really? Yeah. Then he won. So anyways. Wow. That's a big one. Eddie laying down the law. Face on your face. That's a big one. I need a squeegee. I have some face on my face. However, I still suspect there's something in it for you to agree. Maybe I'm wrong. Wouldn't she be a monster if she didn't? No, there's nothing. I just gave. It was important to my husband. He wanted to be there on Christmas morning, so okay. What a jerk. It sucks. I don't want to do it that way, but okay. So, Eddie, what about the dog thing? Does she get a saying about what kind of dog? Yeah, we can pick out the dog. Okay, but she's been told there's a dog regardless. Of course. But she's trying to pull this shenanigans like, yeah, yeah, it'll be great. You know, be outside all the time. You know, play with it outside. I'm like, no way. The dog's going to be inside all the time. Really? Yeah. Rob, get the phone. I try snapping my fingers. I try waving like you're bringing an airplane in. But he's like making cartoons. You know, he's like drawing comics over there. I don't know what he's doing. He's illustrating.
5701053 is the number. Well, you guys got to work this stuff out before you get to it. What do you mean, work this out? Well, because you're saying she wants it to be an outdoor dog and you want an indoor dog. I mean, those are two huge, those are way different. Ashley, what do you, what is, Ashley is like really thinking something's funny. What? What, what, what? Oh, no, no, no, no. I'm just really enjoying the banter. I just, I'm really enjoying it. She's enjoying the show. I'm enjoying the show. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Similar thing happened in my family. I didn't get a choice. My wife had cats. We got cats. Oh, well. She had to have the cats. Well, but that was part of going into the relationship. She had the cats before you. I didn't have a choice. I didn't have a choice. Well, but that's part of the Rebecca package. Eddie's wife knew before she ever got married that he was a dog guy. So you had a dog before you met. I did not have a dog, but I have always wanted to have a dog as soon as I had a house. And you made that clear? Like, what do you mean? Well, I mean, she can't... Did he put it in a contract? Yeah, it wasn't in our marriage license. Well, was this something she was aware of? Yeah, kind of. Oh, okay. Well, as long as you made it clear from the get-go, and she married you anyway, then... Anyway, she married you in spite of it. What is that supposed to mean? Well, because right now, obviously, she's having issues with it. I don't know that. I'm confused. 570-1053. So she does want the dog? I don't know. Oh, my gosh. Hello? Yeah, go ahead. You're on the air.
Oh, any dog. Yeah, for sure. Get any dog you want. Hey, what's yours? What's the problem, Scott? Isn't it more important to have a healthy, good relationship with your wife than to get a dog? I'll have to get back to you on that one. Oh, my gosh. P1 Grim. I wanted to know if when you guys buy the house, is it going to be co-signed between you and her, or is everything going to be in your name? No, it'll be co-signed now. Hey, hey, hey. Well, why is that a problem? That's his wife. Well, listen. I think that there are dog guys and there are cat guys. Eddie is a dog guy. Right, I'm straight. Shut up. Mike has cats. My wife has cats. My wife has cats. I get them. Oh, what about Sydney? We adopted Sydney together. So you are a cat guy. Boy, did we realize we made a mistake on that one.
Wait, I don't know what you're saying, Ash. Oh, we've got your wife on the phone, inside line. My wife on the phone? Eddie's wife, I'm sorry. Eddie's wife, yes. Mama D. Oh, I'll be over here. She's been listening, so she's all caught up with what we're talking about here. Eddie, what is your face saying to it mean? I don't know. What is that expression? I don't know. Why is she calling in? I'll be over here. It doesn't make any sense. No problem. Her name is Debra, affectionately known as Mama D. Yes. Hi. Hi, Debra. Hi, honey. Hi. Debra, what were you calling in to say? To discuss our dog. Are you excited? Yeah, actually, I am excited. Well, then there's no problem. No problem. It looks great. What about this outdoor-indoor issue? Is that really an issue? Yes, it is an issue. Eddie would like a dog. So, of course, the good wife that I am, sure, no problem. We can get a dog, even though... Growing up, I didn't really have dogs. My sister is allergic to everything under the sun. So, okay, we can get a dog, but if we're going to get a dog, it's got to be an outside dog, like a big dog, one of those dogs that looks like a wolf, like a big, big dog. We can stay outside and all's good. Now, why outside, Debra? Because I just don't want the dog inside. Okay, but...
But specifically, like, what is the issue with it being, hey, stop it. I'm just saying. Don't help. I want to know what she really feels. Like, what is it that you really don't like about inside dog? Well, you know, I'm a little bit of a germaphobe, so I don't want dog, like, hair and the dirt from the backyard and everything over the house and having to clean up. So we'll just keep it outside. No. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You need to say more than no. I mean, you need to, like... You know, you work this out. I know. I just did. Now, wait a second. What? Now, she says that she's a germaphobe and that she doesn't want to see dog hair on stuff. Once she gets to know the dog and becomes friends with him, she'll want him in the house anyway. So, you might as well get the dog that we want, whether it be a small dog or a big dog, whatever. Question. What about, Debra, what about a dog that has short hair that doesn't shed? What about that? What? Sky? Wait, wait. Sky made a face like... Well, they do shed. Not as bad, but they shed. Unless it's a hairless dog, it sheds. Yeah, sometimes labs shed even worse than long-haired dogs. Wait a minute. I did not know this. You guys are telling me... Anything with fur sheds. Hang on. You guys are saying that a Doberman sheds? Mm-hmm. Doberman sheds? So do Dalmatians? Anything with fur. Sometimes worse. Those are those little... They look like...
You know, they got that hair that doesn't look like it comes off. It does. Yeah, it does. Here's the thing. There's an animal that I've always wanted to have, too. And when I told Eddie that I wanted it, he's like, no way. What? What is it? A chinchilla. Huh? Who wants a chinchilla? Well, my wife used to own a chinchilla. His name was Sherman. I've always wanted a chinchilla. And he's like, no way. Rebecca used to have it. And I'm compromising. I'm saying, sure, yes. You want a dog? Let's get a dog. Now, wait a minute. Hang on a second. Hang on a second. Has Rebecca ever told you about her chinchilla Sherman? No. You used to attack people all the time. She really had one? No, no, no. She really had one. And it once ate her father. I'm telling you this. Oh, my God. Well, I haven't heard of a chinchilla attack on the news, but I've heard of dog attacks. They're vicious. That Sherman was a monster. What is it? chinchilla? It's a rat. It's a man-eater. Ew. It's a man-eating rat. Why do you want that? Google it. Google it. Yeah, they're cute. Finally, when they finally opened up that Sherman, when it finally died, her dad came pouring out all over the dock. Oh, no. And they were like... Like the Kittner kid. Yeah, like the Kittner kid. Who wants a chinchilla? Like, that's the weirdest thing ever. Rebecca had one, and she was, like, really against chinchilla fur. What the hell is that? My wife bought a cage.
for it. She didn't have the chinchilla, but she had the cage for it. And I made her sell it at a garage sale. Oh, you're so messed up. Who owns that chinchilla? Like, that's weird. I want a man's best friend. I want a dog. Is that so bad? And she said that's cool, but outside. And my parameters. Man's best friend, so get a manly dog. I may, and he's going to be in the house all the time. No way. Where do I? I'm not going to be outside. I'm inside, so the dog's going to be with me hanging out. Now, wait a second. Now, Debra, P1... Yeah, right by me. P1 Toe is on the line. Are you there, Toe? Yeah. Now, you say that if Eddie gets the dog, Debra will fall in love with the dog and everything will be fine. Yeah, that's my game plan. Yeah. Is that right, Toe? Yeah, that's fine. Because my wife was all about cats until we got married. I went out and got a black lab on my own, and she fell in love with the dog. Right. Every time I was gone, the dog slept in the bed with her. See? You fall in love with the animal. Yeah. What's that, Debra? I said, especially no dogs in the bed. Oh, see? That would be... The bedroom door will be closed. No way. Never in a million years. No dogs in the room. Oh, you're crazy. Now, P1... That's so wise, dude. I want to have a little... It's going to have a little bed in our room.
Oh, uh-uh. That's a great idea. Debra, you're now getting support. We got P1 Mikey El Presidente says dogs are outside animals. Is that right, bro? Oh, good. That's what it is. Unless Eddie wants to carry around the dog in one of those little pair of built-in bags. Right. That's an inside dog. Why do you hate dogs? If you want a monster, like a real dog, not like a little dog cat. You want to have it outside because it's going to destroy everything. Oh, no. No, it isn't. It's ridiculous. Now Debra's got something else in her head. She's like, oh, great. P1 Caveman, are you there? Yeah, what's going on? What is your plan? Well, you know, I was thinking, you know, it's a simple compromise. Deb, you should let Eddie get his dog, whatever dog he wants. Eddie let Deb get her chinchilla. Yeah, Deb. And eventually that chinchilla can just slip right out into the backyard with the dog and be, you know, great friends. And I'm sure that chinchilla will be gone within a week. Well, now that's not very nice. That's terrible. I would never do that. No one would ever do that. No one would ever do it.
a question? Yes, Ashley. Because I grew up with dogs, as you know, so I'm very knowledgeable in this department. So what about if it's raining, Mama D? You definitely have to bring the dog in if it's raining and then maybe at night time if it's cold or if it's super hot outside, you've got to bring the dog in. They're going to get him an umbrella. No, we'll have a porch with a little doggy bed underneath it. No, that's not what's going to happen. That's not what's going to happen at all. You've got to bring the dog in if it's raining. That's so mean. Why do you hate animals? P1, Kristen. What you're not realizing is like, instead of just saying no, no dog at all, I'm saying, sure, you want a dog. Let's get a dog. I wouldn't accept that. P1, Kristen. Remember, team. Kristen, you there? Go ahead. What did you want to say? Well, I just want to call in because I am highly allergic to dogs and have really bad allergies. But I have a miniature schnauzer and I've always grown up with miniature schnauzers and they don't shed. See, I thought there were dogs that didn't shed, too. It's like she's got... There's some that have more wiry fur. And then hers that we have is really cottony. And it's great. She doesn't shed. She doesn't get a bad smell. So, it's awesome. There you go. What do you think, Debra? Oh, no. Oh, no. It doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound like... Now, Eddie... It'll be okay. Now, wait.
Now, Eddie, tell me what you mean. Now, why the no compromise rule in this one? It means that much to you. Yeah, well, here's the deal, Mike. I will compromise. I'll say whatever she wants to hear. But I'm going to do what I want. Wait a second. I'm just being honest. I love my wife. I'm going to agree with whatever she says. But then you're going to do whatever you want. Right. Well, at least he's being honest about it. Damn. I'm interested to see how this plays out. Yeah. Debra, thank you for calling in. No problem. I love you, dear. Thank you, Debra. So before we went to break, I told you that Tom Cruise has had his manager send out this...
It's like a, is it a warning, Sky? Would you call it a warning to the media? Yeah, yeah. He sent out a warning to the media saying that there are these new photos of Tom Cruise and he does not want them published. And it sounds like talked about at all. Wow, what's the guy's name? No, it's not like that. Oh, it isn't? Surprisingly, no. Well, Eddie didn't know the story, just assumed. Well, yeah, I mean, that's the only time he tells the media and like sues people and stuff like that. It's when it's about something gay. So, you're saying this is not a story that has to do with something gay? Not gay related. No. This is a non-gay related Tom Cruise story. Wow, this is a first. Wait a minute, hang on a second. Sounds gay. Tom Cruise is upset, but it's not gay related. Well, let us be the judge. Are you sure it's Tom Cruise then? Yes, I'm sure. That's crazy. Not Penelope Cruz? No, no. Tom Cruise. Okay. The guy. What is it?
Well, so I guess Tom is doing this cameo in this movie, Tropic Thunder, an upcoming Ben Stiller movie. And in it, he wears like a fat suit and then this like bald wig. Well, it's not a wig, but you know I'm talking about the like bald cap thing. It's like the hoof. The hoof. Okay. um so in this picture it's like him walking on set but he has the fat suit kind of like halfway pulled down around his waist so you can see his own kind of little little man boobage and then he's got the bald thing on so it's it's a horrible picture it's not flattering at all it makes him look really really bad so like you said tom cruise's lawyer sent out a letter saying please don't uh print these pictures we'd appreciate you not And so there's speculation. One group of people is saying Tom doesn't want these pictures out because he looks horrendous in them. And then the other speculation is because he's doing a cameo in a movie that's not a United Artists production, he doesn't want people to really... Well said. United Artists production. He doesn't really want people, you know...
noticing that he's doing movies with another studio really outside of his deal so those are like the two different speculations i've heard about why he doesn't want these pictures out there okay here's another speculation love to hear it maybe he wants a publicity i know it sounds weird given what you just said the whole united artists don't want to draw attention but maybe maybe it's another way to get tom cruise out there yeah um hello guys what Gay guys don't like to have their appearance mocked or, you know, like they like to have, you know, didn't think about that. He is a gay man. Very true. These are all theories that could very well be true. Yes. Oh. Oh, come on. I thought we were skipping it today. In what may prove to be a substantiation of mental acumen, The Mikey Show presents a somewhat elastic moiety called The Dumb Chick Challenge. It's a gelastic voyatee. The Dumb Chick Challenge is where we take Sky and Ashley, the two dumb chicks on the show, and pit them against a female listener. Idiot! We ask them relatively general knowledge questions. The questions are assigned a point value, one through three. Ones are easy. Threes are a little tougher. No. Let me put it this way.
Threes are easy. Ones are easier. Whatever. That's all I'm saying. That is true. 570-1053. What you do is you call and you select the person on the show you think is going to do the best. And if they win, first person to five points, wins. Wow. Good win for you. P1 Caveman, who would you like? I'll take Sky. It's a wise choice. She's won. She's won like four out of the last five. Did she win last time? I believe she did. I'm screwed. Oh, no. No, we're good, dude. I think I'm on a roll. Hang on the line. Let's see. P1 Manny, you get Ashley. Good. There you go. Good. He's happy about it. Okay. He's happy, but he's feeling it. Okay. And finally, P1 Julie, you're going to play for yourself. Okay. I believe Boston Rob starts this time. Wait, he's not even playing anymore. That's accurate. He graduated. Ashley, I think you start this time. Okay. Would you like a one, two, or three point question? Oh, no. She's looking at Rob and Eddie. Last week, she fired Eddie as her first base coach. Well, but... But Rob doesn't look like he's my first base coach. Yeah, but Rob is listening to Jeff and Jerry right now. He doesn't even look like he's listening to the show. I'm not really sure what... I mean, I don't know. I didn't lose it for her. That's true. I don't... But now Eddie's looking at me smiling like he wants to have...
Eddie? I'm attentive to your needs. Unlike that guy in the box over there. Man in the box. Ashley is looking to Eddie to be her first base coach again. Am I rehired? Yeah, wow, you're rehired, Eddie. I'm back yet. I'm back yet. Rob, I'm the base coach now. Oh, really? Yeah, you got fired. Well, congrats to you, I guess. Thanks, bro. One, two, or three-point question, Ash. Ashley said, give me a two, guys. Ashley, what state is known as the Peach State? Georgia. That was great. Look at Eddie. He's doing the lights. P1 Julie, you want a one, two, or three point question? I'll take a one. Probably a good idea with my girl Ashley on the board.
Julie, your one-point question is, name the three ships that Christopher Columbus made his first voyage to the New World with. God, the Santa Maria. Right? Right, it's an order. Whatever says that first. That's interesting. It's just the name of my three nieces, so just think about it. I have no idea. I just know the Santa Maria. Oh, man. Wow. Shocking. Oh, that's horrible. The three ships were... The Santa Maria. Well, that's not how you say it. See, you got to remember it the way you say it is the best way. Sky gave me a look like, why did she even mention that one first? It's the Nina, the Pinta, the Santa Maria. Of course. That's the easiest way to remember it. Yeah. Don't really know why. It's not like it rhymes or anything. It's just that that's the way people, it's the way you're taught. Sorry about that, Julie. Embarrassing. Sky.
A one, two, or three-point question. No, we're not cheering Sky. No, we're not cheering Sky. What? Sky, what would you like? I'll stick with it and go two, please. Stick with it. Well, this is the way I do it, Eddie. Surprise. You're going down. Okay. Wait, no, thank you. Sky, I'm going to give you a question that I consider to be a one-point question, but... Oh, great. That means I'm not going to get it. Maybe have Rob be your bass coach. Yeah, come on, Ski. He'll tell me to go for the ham one. Oh, no. I'll take a ham pointer. Right? There it is. Let's wrap this up with a ham. Sky, what river carved the Grand Canyon? Sky's putting the tongue in the cheek like, oh, boy. Oh, no. The Colorado River. That is correct. Oh, no. Guy, you nailed it. Total guess. Oh, come on. Oh, that's not true. It is. I was like, okay, Mississippi. Well, it can't be the Mississippi. Oh, my gosh. The Nile. Right. Ashley looks frustrated. She's leaning back in her chair. Eddie's giving her, what is that? I don't know. It's the Dante Culpepper, let's roll. He's throwing up some crazy signs in me right now. I don't know if I can, I don't know if I agree. Okay. Ashley, a one, two, or three pointer.
You can wrap it up with a three, or you could take the easy route and take a one-point. I know. My buddy's supposed to go into a lot. Oh, wow. Oh, no. Are you kidding? We lost Julie. We lost Julie. Call her back. We lost Julie. But Ashley wants a two-pointer. She's scared of you. Ashley, what were the southern states called during the Civil War? Think about it. She's very thoughtful. She's got her head down. She's thinking. Can you repeat the question? Eyes wandering around her studio. What were the southern states called during the Civil War? People yelling it out in their cars. Oh, no. Ashley just mouthed the curse word. I don't think that's good. I don't think that's good. They were definitely not called that word. They were not called those states. Come on, Ash. You've got to think about it. What were...
What were the southern states called during the Civil War? I know this. And it's in my head, and it's on the tip of my tongue. Say it. The redneck state. Dentee. She's looking at Ed. Yes! Oh, my God! What's up? Wow! It was on the tip of... Of my tongue. What is up? That's awesome. And this is the ironic part. When you guys start making fun of me, that's when I lose my focus. I hope there's irony here. So, what I did just then was I took my headphones completely off and I just had nothing but silence and I just thought. Ah, so ironic. And then it came to me. That is really ironic. Because like in Ashley Pyramid, it helps when my headphones are on, but with Dumbtook Challenge, it helps if my headphones are off. It helps me to think. I'm telling you. Ashley has nailed... Oh, that's awesome.
Two two-point questions in a row. She needs only one more point. I see you, Eddie. There it is. Yeah, baby. Eddie, is anybody else on the board? Skye has two points. Skye, you got two. You can end it with a three when we come around to you, but we'll see what you select. She's not brave enough. Oh. Whatever, dummy. Julie, you gotta get... Oh, did we get Julie back? Did we get her back? Three. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Julie, you need to get on the board. I know, I know. but I'm going to try one again. Julie's cute. Julie, here is your one point question. Okay. What is the common name for a cloud that is in contact with the ground? Pog. That is correct. You can put it on the board. Julie now has a point. Yes. She's on the board. She needs only four more points to win the game. Sky? Needs a ham. Skye, you could end the game right now with a three-point question. Come on, Skye. Go three. You can take the easy route. I'm going to try a three. That's a sweater vest talking. It's not a sweater vest. Stop calling it that. All right, Skye. No chance. Skye, your three-point question is... You're nodding my head. Shut up. What famed airplane dropped the first atomic bomb ever used in warfare?
Sky's squinting and just gave me the word. Well, I mean, how dare he with that question? How dare he? Wait a second, Sky. This is a famous aircraft. Okay, read it again. Read it again. What famed airplane dropped the first atomic bomb ever used in warfare? What was the name of that aircraft? Sky has got her hand to her forehead. Southwest? The Millennium Falcon. Led Zeppelin. Glad you made that joke because I was thinking that. No. Wow. But I was like, no, it can't be. Can't be Led Zeppelin. All right, fine. The Doors. No. I knew it was a classic rock band. Boston. Yardbirds. The Grateful Dead. Was quiet. Lizzy. I don't know. The Hindenburg. No.
I know what it is. It's simple. Jefferson Airpane. Duh. Sky, it was not the Hindenburg. Who says that? I don't know. Sky, it was the Enola Gay. Wasn't she in promotions in San Jose? No, that's Aaron Gay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Ashley, you can end the game right here. It's so much pressure. She's only got one option, right? She can only take... She can show off if she wanted to. She can show off. No, no, I don't want to show off. We're not like that. No, I'm going to stay humble and just go for a one. All right. She said, give me a one, guys. Okay, relax. Relax. Breathe. Do your breathing exercises. This is for Manny, Ashley. If you get this question right, what does Manny win, Eddie? We got Rock Before Christmas tickets. Here you go. Awesome! Concert tickets on the line. Ashley, your one-point question is, where are the United Nations headquarters located in the U.S.? She's shaking her palms. Looks like she's doing jazz hands. Now it looks like she's doing arithmetic with her fingers. Can you just say it one more time? And then take your headphones off. Yeah. She's got her hands to her headphones about to take them off. Can you just say it one more time? The question is,
Where are the United Nations headquarters located in the U.S.? She's leaving her headphones on. Oh, no. She decided to take them off. She's taking them off. Her blonde hair is all stuck in the headphones. Oh, gross. She's thinking. She's thinking. Yeah, it looks like she was puffing. Ashley. Ashley. Hyperventilating. Where are the United Nations headquarters located in the U.S.? Just throw up. She's squinting now. The pressure. You can tell the pressure. It's getting to her. It's getting to her. She's got her face in her hands. Where? Can you repeat the question one more time? I'm going to just say what the most logical answer would be, which is Washington, D.C. The Pentagon. No, Ashley. No. Way to go. I'm sorry. Way to go. I'm sorry, Ashley. Washington, D.C. But you got that one point question wrong. Dang it. They're located in New York. Oh, Ashley's got the saddest... It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. We got it. We're still in the game. Hey, Kate, we still have the lead. We still have the lead. Now she's got her face to it. Hey, get your head in the game right now. That was a tough one-pointer. Get your head in the game. She cried her little eyes out. Julie, come on. I'll take a two-point question. Take it off. All right, Julie, your two-point question is, in a hospital,
An IV is a common way for people to get their fluids. What is IV short for? Intravenous. That is correct. Oh, man. I would have loved to heard Skye try and say that. I knew it. I'm not saying I could pronounce it, but I knew it. Eddie immediately looked away after he said that, like, I hope she didn't hear me say that. Can you say it, Skye? Intravenous. If she didn't hear that, though, prior to that. Eddie, what's the score? Well, right now, Ashley is still in the lead with four points. Julie has three points, and Skye has two points. Skye, you can wrap it up with a three-point question. Try this again. You're going for another three-pointer. Skye, your three-point question is... What was the name of the author? of the book 1984. What was the name of the author of the book 1984? Very famous. Very famous. Very famous. Sky has her hands together. Knew it immediately. Who are you praying to? Yes. Anyone that'll listen. Sky is smiling. She's looking at the ceiling. Send me the answer. Even though I don't believe in any of you. Please. One of you send me. Send me the answer. Maybe they can change
The question is, what was the name of the author of the book 1984? Not what that book is. Was it Judy Blume? Dr. Seuss. These are the only two authors I've read. You can do it. I can't do it, Mike. I don't know who you're thinking of. You must have me mistaken with someone else. Thank you. Someone with general knowledge. Shut up, Sean. Someone with at least a fourth grade education. Whatever. I probably knew this in the fourth grade. You must have me confused with Miley Cyrus. Whatever. You know, your average teen. Skye, what was the name of the author of the book 1984? Orson Welles. Oh, my goodness. Holy cow. Skye.
That's crazy. You know why that was so creepy? Why? Because the author is George Orwell. Wow. That was weird. That was creepy. You know what that means to me? It was in there somewhere. It was in there. It was, but... You got it a little tangled up when you were getting it out. Weak. Idiot. Oh, no. Eddie is giving Ashley signs right now. She's up next. She can end it with this one pointer. Eddie's saying, breathe, take it easy before you answer. Think about it. Freaky out. Ashley, this is for the Rock Before Christmas tickets for P1 Manny. You're playing for him. Who cares? It's about to win. Here is your question. Allah is believed to be the God of what religion? There's a listener honking the answer. Allah is believed to be the God of what religion, Ashley? She's got her headphones off.
They're back behind her head. Oh, she's putting them back on. Here we go. I think she's got it. She's prepared and ready to give an answer. Ashley, your answer is? Muslim. That is incorrect. The answer is Islam. Islam. Ashley. Which is what the Muslims practice. That is their religion. That is correct. I will say, that seemed like a hard one-point question, but we do have it listed as a one-point question. Julie, it's back to you. This is unbelievable. Julie has two points, right, Eddie? She has three. She has three points. She can wrap it up with a two-pointer. Wow. Come on, Julie. Two-pointer. You want your two-pointer? I'll take a two-pointer. Okay, you got it. 24 years after first blowing its top, what Washington State volcano became active again in 2004? Helena? That's incorrect. Was it Mount Helena?
It was not Mount Helena. Are you sure? Your mind was somewhere there. You were very close. It was Mount St. Helens. Very close. Although Mount Helena is dangerous. It's about to blow any minute. We've been playing now for 485 minutes. Sky, what are you going to do? A three-pointer. A three-pointer. She's going with a three-pointer. But why? Come on. Sky. It's garbage. Which Apollo mission was the first manned mission to land on the moon? Oh, man. She just... Oh, no. I mean, I'm going to take a guess, but I think it just may be a movie. I don't know. Apollo 13. That's incorrect. Did you watch the movie? No. Okay, well, you should probably read that. Sky was Apollo 11. That was only two off. Yeah, you were close. Ashley is a lot better with harder questions than easy ones. Oh, yeah. Much better. The only thing she can take is a one-pointer. So we're going to give her another one-point question. Ashley, are you ready? Give me one, yes. Ashley, again. Lock it up. For Rock Before Christmas tickets for Manny. Yeah. Answer this one-point question. Yeah. Lock it up. Yeah.
What is a group of lions called? Oh, you got this. You got it. She's taking the headphones off. Oh. White lion? Stop it. Leave her alone. Jefferson airplane. Leave her alone. Detroit. She's got the headphones above her head. She doesn't want to hear what we're saying. It'll distract her. Oh, no. Now she's shaking her head. Oh, no. Why? Come on. Oh, man. She's discouraged. I can tell she's discouraged. She's got it. She's thinking... Pool of fish, herd of sheep, group of freaking damn lions. A group of freaking damn lions. Is that your final answer? No. I don't. I mean, I would say... You know this. Lions. What do you know lions from? King. Lion King. They're called Mustafa. Keep going. Lion King. Keep going. Mufasa.
Lion King. Circle of Life. Kingdom Come. I'm sorry, Ashley. How long is this game going to go on? We just have to get a one-pointer. A group of lions is called a pride. No! She's so defeated. Oh, no. P1 Julie. Come on, Julie. Do something, Julie. Why am I? You've won this game before. Stop it. I won this game. so long ago. You're in the lead right now. You're killing it. Believe me. I just missed three. One point question. You can do it. Julie, would you like a one, two, or three point question? How many points Julie have, Eddie? She's got three points. You just need a two to wrap it up. Or two ones. You want a two? Yeah. Come on, Julie. All right, Julie. Here is your two point question. What well-known liquor
is made from the agave plant. Oh! Tequila. That is good! That is correct! Damn it! Love it! Don't! Stop it, Ashley! Stop it, Ashley! You're killing it today! No, Ashley, but it is my 10th anniversary this week. Hey! Put it on the board. You can take your husband with you to the Rock before Christmas. You just won tickets. Julie, congratulations. Hang on the line, okay? Thank you. There is a... celebrity manager in the news today. And he has quit being the manager of said celebrity because, oh, I don't know, he just took a drug test and heroin turned up in his system. What? And he says it comes from secondhand smoke from his client's heroin pipe. I'll tell you who the celebrity is after this.

For over a decade now, every new VW has come with a HEPA smoke and pollen filter which cleans the air you and your passengers breathe while you drive. Like, what's everybody so upset about? Jeez, calm down, San Diego. Before we went to break, I said, there is a celebrity's manager who has quit. And basically what this was, was a last straw. The manager tested positive for heroin and says, this is a result of secondhand smoke.
From the heroin pipe of my client, Amy Winehouse. I mean, if it couldn't get any more strange for Amy Winehouse. Horrible. Now this. And we were talking about it last week. There was like some tape of her where she's like snorting something on stage. Crack is whack. It's really bad. So when did this happen? Um, well, it doesn't give a date, but I mean, it's just making news today. So I'm assuming late last week, if not, you know, over the weekend where just like you said, the final straw after doctors found that secondhand smoke from the heroin pipe made its way into this guy's system. He's like, he just couldn't take it anymore. It was enough. That's a woman. That's a white woman. It kind of looks like she could be related to friend dresser in a way to me. I see that. She's got a big beehive. It's fake though, right? That can't be real. That big beehive haircut. Yeah. There's no way that something like that could be real, right? Right. I believe she has like long black hair, but she puts the beehive little cappy dude on top because there was a story that when she went to go visit her husband, who's currently locked up.
she had to take it off and they had to thumb through it to let her go through to make sure she wasn't smuggling anything in it. Like raisins or anything. Chocolates. A file. A cake with a file in it. All in the beehive. I heard that when they shook it one time, a bunch of illegal aliens fell out of it. One of them screamed La Migra and they went out of her beehive. That's scary. Kidness is what defines you. One time they shook it and Willie Nelson fell out. Thank you. Thank you. Before the program started today, this is what we call speaking out of school. Before the program started today, Skye said she was in a grumpy mood over the weekend. That's not what she said, Mike. Yeah, my words are more accurate. But I can't repeat on the air what she said. No?
I cannot say that. It is against FCC regulations. But Skye said that she was mean to her husband this weekend, and I cannot imagine how bad it was if she readily admitted to him that she was. Stop it. We're in love, and we get along like 99% of the time. But yesterday, even I could not deny what a... Even you couldn't stand you? Oh, man. I was so mean. What happened? Well, I had a nightmare, and we all know how that puts me in a funk. Wait, wait. We've got to tell people what that means. It was a weird one. Sometimes Skye dreams that her husband cheated on her or is cheating on her, and when she wakes up from the dreams, she's mad at him. He's done nothing wrong. That's crazy. This was a doozy. Skye, respond to what Eddie just said.
What, that he hasn't done anything wrong? Yeah, it was a dream. Right. But it's like, okay, if somebody screams at you and then apologizes, you're still traumatized from the screaming, even though they said they're sorry. Yeah, but that's real life. You can't let it go immediately. They have control over their own actions. So it's the same thing. It's not the same thing. When you're upset and you're hurt. Well, one's real. One's real and one's a dream. Even though you wake up and go, oh, that wasn't real, you still have all the emotion left over, you know? But why would you take it out on him if he has no control over it? I don't know. Well, I just. So anyway. I don't care. You're awful. Forget that point. Anyway. So what did you tell me illustrate how you did this? How I was a bee? Yes. Well, I, you know, just everything. I mean, everything. I, you know, was very quiet. I wasn't like talking. He would say things to me. I like would just kind of respond in grunts. I was trying to put together this. Now, that must have had him going, man, I read the body language. What did I do? Right, right. Well, because immediately he knew. He could tell, you know, and I was like, yeah, I'm just in a mood today. I don't know what's up. You know, I don't know if it's hormones. I don't know if it's a bad night's sleep. Question. Question. Does he know you get mad at him when you dream he cheats? Yes. So doesn't he ask? Doesn't he go, did you dream I cheated? Well.
I said a bad dream and he knew immediately what that is. I mean, I really only have one kind of bad dream. It's awful because he goes, oh no, I did it again. Well, he knows he's screwed. His day's over. Yeah, so I'm trying to make this collage and he's like having input on it. Wait, what? What does that mean? What? Well, I just had a bunch of pictures and I wanted to make this one collage and I had wanted to do it for a while and I had bought like a cork board. Yeah, it was a cork board, like a framed out cork board and I, you know, little thingy. And so like he's having input and I'm not having it, you know, because he's... Like what? What did he say? Well, he has a great attention for detail. And so... You know, he's telling me, like, things could fit better if maybe I moved them around. And he didn't like this picture. He liked that picture better. And I just, you know, this, like, cartoon steam coming out of my ears. Oh, man. Did you snap? No. Like, I was just a total B all day, you know? Damn it! But then, last night, I snapped when he was trying to explain apple butter to me. Oh, my God. I couldn't handle it anymore. What do you mean, apple butter?
what did you do oh my god what do you mean and what did you um what's the chick on the food network who always makes the real fattening southern paladin so the food network's on i'm like it's like six o'clock and i'm trying to go to bed because i'm in such a bad mood that all i want to do is sleep and wake up to a new day get back to another dream whatever And so Paula Deen's on, and she's talking about how she's going to make this pumpkin pie using apple butter. And I know that my husband loves apple butter. My husband has forced me to try apple butter on multiple occasions. We used to go to this one specific bagel shop because they sold the apple butter, this whole thing. So my husband goes, oh, so you know what apple butter is? Yes, yes, I know what apple butter is. Well, it's not like regular butter. Oh. I just lost it. I'm like, I just told no what it is. I'm like, and then I just, I'm like, you know, I tell you stuff. You ask me questions and I tell you, yes, I know. And then you go on to explain it anyways. I've been with you for the last 10 years. I know you love apple butter. We used to go to the bagel shop so you could get the apple butter. I was. I was. I'm not going to deny it. I was horrendous. I was.
Why do you do it, though, even though you know what you're doing? Hang on, Gunslinger. You can't, like, control it. Like, you're in a bad mood. You're grumpy. And I was trying to avoid him so he wouldn't have to take the wrath of my grumpiness. But, you know, he kept engaging me. P1 Gunslinger. Poor guy. I want to know why it is you can dream of Jim at the office and talk about it. Well, and this dream was... You have a dream. He's cheating. It's a dream. And you just get all bent out of shape. What a question. What a question. And you want to know the weird part of this dream? Wow. This dream was really weird because the beginning of it was Sean trying to make out with me. Okay, yeah, that's weird. And then I went home to tell my husband how weird it is that Sean was trying to make out with me and how awkward it was and how Dina walked in. I know. Weird. Out of left field. Dina's Sean's wife. And that's when he's in the middle of his she-nans. Well, answer his question. Yeah, great question, Gunslinger. Because in those dreams, I'm single. Wait, let me rephrase the question. He just said to Sky.
How come you're allowed to have these dreams where you cheat with Jim from the office? I do not cheat. I am single in those dreams. What the? Oh, no. What do you mean? I'm single in those dreams. Yeah? Like, who dreams like that? They just know they're single? Well, yeah. Because otherwise you'd be cheating. You're you. You're you. No. In my dreams, I'm, like, single. It's, like, back in the day. Because then you'd be cheating. What? You would know in your dream you're cheating. If you're... If you're married in your dream, you'd know you're cheating. Eddie is looking at me right now like, is she for real? I mean, she'll say anything that would not be wrong. That's the truth. I know I'm single in those dreams. You're a joker. You're a joker. You're a joker for not knowing things like that. I am allowed to dream about Riggins. Thank you. And Jim from The Office. And I'm single in those dreams, and that makes it okay. Now. And it makes it right. That is the rule. And... Shut up. Bunny Boo is allowed to dream... Well, first of all, he's allowed to dream about no woman. I've never said that. Single or not. I don't dictate his dreams. I'm sure he dreams about Jennifer Love Hewitt all the time. He doesn't dictate your dreams. Well, you guys are coming at... Well, you treat him like crap because you dreamt something. Well, that wasn't the... I mean, I just was in a funk. Mikey's show, hello. Well, that was just a tiny part.
Mikey Show, hello. Yeah, this is P1 Steve. I had an ex-girlfriend who used to have dreams where I was cheating. And we ended up breaking up over it because of it. Really? So, the same thing, like, would she get real mad at you when she woke up from the dream? She would be irate. Total beating. Oh, man. And would you say to her, but I don't control your dreams. Of course. I mean, I didn't do anything wrong. And what would she say? That was a dream. What would she say? She was, I don't know. She just went off. Wow. See what's going to happen? Well, and it's weird because I'm... It's weird. Because I'm not like that. I think that this is what should happen. Honestly, one of these days, he's got to really get upset with you. Yeah. And he's got to say to you... He's got to really get upset with you and he's got to say, Honey, this is unfair. You cannot get mad at me for having a dream. It's unfair. I wasn't mad at him.
You treated me like crap. Yeah, I was in a mood. But it was because of the dream. Not solely, I don't think. But you said you woke up from a bad dream about him cheating. And you were in a funk. Was it a doozy of one? Oh, yeah. Oh, no. It was a doozy. It was a doozy. Because I do find it interesting how in the dream she finds out. So what was it? I had come home. from a day at work where Sean, for some reason, tried to make out with me. Right. Yeah, he did. Oh, thanks. And so I was coming home and like the whole way home, I'm like, oh my gosh, this is so crazy. Like, Eddie's not gonna, I mean, my husband's not gonna believe this, blah, blah, blah. I was shocked. Shut up. Shut up, babe. So, and I come home and he is in the middle of hanging out with some woman that he had met on the internet. and they were scheming how to take me down. Oh, so they weren't actually messing around. Well, no, but it was clear to me that there was a relationship there. They were scheming to get me out of the picture. So how did you overhear it? What? Eddie finds out hysterical, by the way. Now, what happened? Did you walk in the door, and you heard voices? Yeah, and I heard their discussion. So you walk in the door, and you hear, and you're like, what?
what is this I'm hearing? Right. And you listen, and it's scheming. And what, like, what are they saying? Because I was, like, coming home early or something. He's like, he says, listen, internet girl I met. No. Like, how did it, how did, what did he say? That you knew it was a scheme? Was he like, let's run away together to... Bora Bora. Bora Bora. Bora Bora. Obviously. Yes. I don't, I don't know. You know, just how in dreams you know things. So did you confront in the dream? Like you know when you're single. Yeah, exactly. Exactly, Eddie. Great point. You got it. So did you confront him in the dream? Yeah, I think I was like in the middle of freak out when I woke up. Oh, wow. So you were freaking out on him. Yeah. Like, how dare you? Right. And then you woke up. Yeah. And you're upset with him. Well, I'm upset. You're upset with him. No, I'm upset. But you've already stated that you wake up from these dreams upset with your husband. I wake up upset. Oh, I see what she's doing. Are you really going to be? Come on. I'm upset. I'm upset. Why can't you just give it up? Here's the truth. I'm upset, and yeah, it gets taken out on him. But I'm not upset at him. I know it's a dream, but I'm upset. But, sweetheart. And somebody's got to pay the price. Listen, listen, listen.
But Skye, sometimes you have dreams about him and you come to work and you don't take it out on us, so you take it out on him because you're upset at him. If you have a dream, it's an upsetting dream that you wake up and you're kind of upset up from and it has nothing to do with your husband, you don't take it out on him. I'm upset and I'm kind of in a funk. But you don't take it out on him. Being in a funk is taking it out on him. He's in the direct line of fire. Why are you trying to do that? He can't avoid it. You know you're in can't win territory. Tough love it is. Tough love. It's like Samwise Ganji saying, if I take one more step, I'm in not going to win territory. So as he tucked me in last night, I apologized and I said, I hope I will try really hard to be nicer to you tomorrow. For those of you that are new listeners, her husband tucks her in at night. This guy is 10 years old. It's 7.30. I'm ready. Shut up. Come tuck. I go to bed before him. He likes to, you know, kiss me and tell me goodnight and make sure the alarm's set. Guy still came in to tuck you in after you'd beat him up all day. He's Prince Charming. Brutalized him. You are the wicked witch. No, I'm not the wicked witch. I'm a girl who had a bad day, but he is Prince Charming. Prince Charming. He is.
He's the best man ever. What do you think would have happened if he didn't come in to tuck her in? Oh. Prince Charming. You're right. You're right. What would have happened if he was like, you know what? I'm good tonight. Nah, he wouldn't do that. Of course. No, because he loves me. Torture wreck. No, because he loves me. Sorry. We're in love. I'm sorry. P1 Marcos. Hey, guys. All right, man. I'm an avid listener for quite some time, and you guys have thrown around the word. And I've heard it, and I've heard associations to Skye and stuff, but today, Skye, I finally understand the word beating. The reason we're talking... How dare you make your husband feel... I didn't make him feel guilty. I didn't make him feel guilty. Oh, man. I got to get off the phone. You know, the reason we're talking about this is because it's not an everyday occurrence. That's why we're talking about this, because it's strange. It's out of the norm. It takes brass balls. And I feel bad about it. It was horrible all yesterday. I was so moody.
Maybe it's me. Okay, so I thought I was like the only one out there that this happened to. But my wife one time woke up and she was angry at me. And I didn't know why. And it wasn't later that day until she disclosed to me that it was because she had a dream that I had an affair with Dog the Bounty Hunter's wife. Oh, God. How dare you, Chris? How dare you? See, that would have made Sky think it's funny. Yeah, that would have been funny. Mikey Show, P1 Clint Dog's on the line. Yeah. Sky, actually, when you're dreaming he's unfaithful, he's actually being faithful. You should be nicer to him. I read in the dream book, it's always the opposite of what you dreamed of. So in other words, if you dream that your husband is very faithful, it means generally you believe that he isn't. Yes, he's probably cheating on you. And if you believe that he's being unfaithful, unfaithful it's usually because he's not he's a very faithful person because i don't believe my husband is unfaithful i just dream it but i don't believe it like i'm not suspicious of him and you know all the more reason to be nice when you wake up oh happy but i was upset p1 claudia
Hey, I just want to say that I agree with Skye because that's happened to me many times and I just like to be left alone when I'm upset. Yeah. You know, and... I just want to tell her about apple butter. Well, dude, I already... What's the big deal about apple butter? I know, dude. I know about apple butter. He didn't remember. So what you're saying is, is, hey, listen, I agree with Skye on this one. When you dream about somebody, you should wake up and be mean to them. I wasn't mean to him. I agree with Skye. I was trying to ignore him. I agree with Skye. Skye, I side with you. Yeah, I agree with Skye. Thank you, yes. Thank you, I appreciate you. He sucks apple butter. Apple butter. Well then, beat him up. If you already know about apple butter, tear his face off. But when I told him I knew about apple butter, he thought I was lying to him. So he continued to tell me about apple butter. You know what then? Kick his butt. No, I was in the wrong. I love you. Britney Spears is spending Thanksgiving with Billy Ray Cyrus' family, so think about it. So think about it. Also, Lance Armstrong is finally commenting on his relationship with Ashley Olsen. If you are one of the over 100,000 Volkswagen owners here in San Diego County, please listen carefully to this important free service announcement as it may benefit both you and your car. For over a decade now, every new VW has come with a HEPA smoke and pollen filter which cleans the air you and your passengers breathe while you drive. Given the recent fires in San Diego County, we are concerned that this air filter may have absorbed the lingering smell of smoke and potentially harmful ash. So, in concern for your health and your comfort, the seven Volkswagen dealers here in San Diego County have volunteered to replace this smoke and pollen filter in your Volkswagen for free. If you drive a 1998 or newer Volkswagen, stop by any of our seven San Diego County Volkswagen dealers during their normal service department hours.
and they will install a new filter in your car at no cost to you. Please visit sdvwdealer.com. Filter supplies are limited, and please respond to this offer before the end of November. No. Wait a minute, wait a minute. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Welcome back to The Mikey Show. It is 844. A downtown security guard was arrested on suspicion of taking money from four women after allegedly forcing them at knife point to take their clothes off. The Cleveland Browns won yesterday in one of the craziest fashions I think I've ever seen in my entire life in a football game. Did you watch that game, Mike? I'm sorry. I was reading some information. The Browns? Uh-uh. No, no, no. I didn't see it.
You didn't see how the Cleveland Browns won? No. What happened? Holy cow. So they gave up a huge lead to Baltimore. Baltimore is ahead by three. They drive down to where they can kick a 51-yard field goal. So they kick it. It hits one of the goal posts and bounces in and hits the bar that holds up the goal post, past it, and then bounces back out. of the goal post and so the initial the initial call the referees are like it's no good but the the way you make a field goal is all it has to do is cross the crossbar right so it crossed the crossbar but it hit that that like bar bar right that's past it right and bounced back in and so i guess that play is not reviewable so they couldn't review it and so they were all free and then the the ref goes well we need to check this But they're like, it's not reviewable. So they huddled up and then they figured out, oh, it hit the inside bar and went back out. So it was good. But that went on for five minutes. It was crazy. So they ended up tying the game and then they won the game in overtime. Oh, my. It was nuts. It's probably a good thing they reviewed that and talked about. Well, they didn't. They just huddled up.
And one of the, like, the back judge was, like, adamant. Like, dude, it hit the back bar. Like, that's good. Can you imagine, man? Yeah. P1 Jake. Hey, Mikey. I was just wondering if everything in your dreams is opposite, does that mean Sky wants to make out with Sean? Well, he didn't say that everything is opposite. He said that in the case of cheating. When you dream that, that it's the opposite. But yes, I would like to. Come on, Sean A. No, thanks. What do you think, Sean? No, come on, seriously. I was really freaking out. He was shook. He didn't like the thought of it. Boston Rob each year does a Thanksgiving parody to Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song. Yes. And he's done one for this year. Sky loves ham. Sky loves it, honey. And I love Sky jokes. Ham on Thanksgiving, honey baked for Sky. I feel bad for Seth when Ashley makes him cry. That's ham for Sky. She'd enjoy a ham pie. Ash can be a bee. Ash what's like a dude.

It's beautiful. Wow. Hi, Robbie. Especially the way it abruptly cuts off right there. I like that, too. Yes. Down. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. I love it. I think it's beautiful. Very good. It's moving. Sky, what do you think? No, thank you. You're not going to play that at your house on Thanksgiving? No, I'll pass. I can cut you a CD. No, thank you. Hey guys, I think it's time for the toast and the annual playing of Boston Rob's song. What do you guys think? Yes. Britney Spears is spending Thanksgiving at Miley Cyrus' house. Is she friends with them?
No, but I guess Billy Ray Cyrus invited Brittany to Thanksgiving at their house saying, Miley has always been a huge fan of yours, and we've been seeing the troubles you're having, so you're more than welcome to come spend a nice family holiday with us. She can't really spend it with her family because she's kind of... On the outs? Yeah. She's estranged from them. Doesn't she have random friends? Yeah. Well, Billy Ray Cyrus also went on to say that... that he loves her his family loves her very much and they'd like her to be there with them for the holiday and then uh britney in normal britney fashion was running errands this weekend by herself decided to go into petco to buy a fish and when um all the paparazzi that is obviously swarming the petco um asked britney if she would be going to uh the cyrus family house she said yes oh my god oh no so we'll see if she actually shows i heard that life coach has to be present whenever she's with the fish so that she doesn't screw the fish up. I heard she can't drive with the fish by herself. Leave her alone! That is weird. And Lance Armstrong. Lance Armstrong has finally commented on his relationship with Ashley Olsen, one of the Olsen twins. And he says, we're just friends.
Yes, his quote is, Ashley Olsen and I are strictly friends. We have hung out amongst other friends, and she strikes me as a nice, smart lady. Hey, ball breaker! End quote. But there's nothing romantic going on. Strictly friends, Mike. Didn't you hear that part? Okay. We have a lot in common. Does anyone hear a television in the background? I think somebody's in the hallway. Talking loud? Yeah, that's the hallway. Yeah, we definitely have good soundproof studios. Why should a studio be soundproof? We're just doing a radio show. P1 Ian? This is P1 Ian. What's up, Mikey? What's up, dude? I just want to say, keep beating up that poor man. Sometimes his dreams do come true. Oh, wow. It was one day. I love that man to death. Please. We all have bad days. Okay? Like you've never had a bad day, sir. You're an angel.
100% of the time. Yeah, like you don't wake up from dreams about your wife and be mean to her all day. Yeah. On purpose. We all do that, right? Not on purpose. I was trying to get out of my phone. We all do it. I just couldn't. I think who amongst us hasn't woke up from a dream about our spouse and been mean to them all day? Yeah. I mean, if you can say that with a clear conscience. Leave me alone, Ace. Give me a break. You'd be pissed too if you were asked about apple butter. Yeah, that's right. Did she even mention that? Oh. Scott, you should say that again. People will understand. Shut up. I was a total B. What do you want from me? I admitted it. That's the point of the story. I was a jerk ass. You know what? Before all you people start judging, why don't you try having your spouse get you to try apple butter again. Again. He wasn't trying to get me this. He just wanted to talk about it. Okay. Exactly. I ain't having that. It's a touchy subject. Who is listening right now that would stand for it? I'm getting pissed just thinking about it, Mike. It's very controversial. Lots of people have feelings about that. Reason for separation? Apple butter. He spoke to me about apple butter. How many times with the apple butter? Shut up. Opposite. I have a million things I want to do.
We got a million things we can... I don't know what to decide. We got so much good stuff. I have a list of the most dangerous cities in America. This is such a cool car. It's so great for SoCal. And with every Chevy HHR, it's backed by the GM 100,000-mile 5-year powertrain limited warranty. Whichever comes first, see your dealer for all those details.

Was allegedly trying to trick a woman into having oral sex with him. What happened? Ah, that old trick. So this couple was sitting in their car at about 1.40 in the morning over the weekend in a parking lot. And this dude pulls up and blocks their vehicle into the parking spot, gets out, asks them for ID, and he's in a uniform. And he's, you know, obviously representing himself as a person of authority. asked for their ID, and then asked the woman to get out of the car and to get in the back seat of his car. And then he gets in the car, too, and says that he'll let them go in exchange for oral sex from the woman.
She refused and was let go, and they took off and immediately flagged down a police officer. And it turns out, and gave a description of the guy, they caught the guy who turns out works for a private security firm. that patrols the Oceanside Transit Center, which was near to this parking lot. And so he's been arrested on suspicion of impersonating a police officer, kidnapping with the intent to commit oral copulation and false imprisonment. Those are some serious charges. He will not do well in prison. Oh, dude, those are some serious charges. He will not do well in prison. In Gen Pop? To me, there's no difference between that guy and any rapist or murderer. Yeah. He was going for it. If he had his way, you know. That's disgusting. I want to hear this. This is a TV reporter that was in San Antonio, Texas. Works for KENS TV in San Antonio. They were doing a live shot. Problem is they were doing a live shot on some guy's property. And he didn't like it. Cut one.
No injuries reported in any of these fires. Some of these fires threatened some homes. Just behind me, here in the 500 block of Anderson Hill, you can see where the fire just kind of burned all the way across the property there. There were a couple of other fires, certainly one in the 1800 block of Zion Hill that they had to deal with. Five acres burned there. And then there was one in the... The 300 block of Mason, there were 10 acres there. Firefighters say that the... You're on private property. Okay. The wonders of live TV. The winds worked in favor of them, and in some spots, they also hurt them. But he talked about how they helped. Okay. All right, what's happening here? Some person, we don't know who the person is. It's the property owner, we think, yeah. He has come up to our equipment and is in the process of shutting it down now. Marvin, you and Dario okay? We are fine. All right, tell him that's assault. Don't touch you. You guys move. We'll tell you they've gotten the upper hand on that fire. hearing anchors trying to recover. That's my favorite thing in the world. It's fantastic. Like, if there was a DVD offered by Time Life, and it was all television people trying to recover, I would get it. Because they're very used to reading from teleprompters, so when they're put into a live situation, it's really hard for them to kind of be normal. Well, I... You guys know that Hayden Pantieri is the cheerleader for the TV show Heroes. She's got a warrant out for her arrest in Japan because she was screaming at dolphin fishermen. She's an animal lover. So she went on a boat and she was like, you stop it. I'm the cheerleader from Heroes. Well, I don't know if you said that. How dare you. You can't kill me. I know you guys don't understand me, but stop. And so they were asking her about it. Cut four. And now word is the Japanese government has issued warrants for their arrest, though the embassy claims no knowledge of this. I don't know whether that's a legitimate thing going on or whether that's... By the way, speaking of cheerleaders, did you guys hear about the cheerleaders? Was it locally, Sky, that did the thing with the word spelled out on their behind? No, it's in a city that's just outside of Modesto.
Okay, and these girls are cheerleaders. They got suspended from school because they wrote words, like they put letters on their butts. Right. Yeah, they were doing their routine, and I guess their mascot is the Indians for their high school. And so at the end of their routine, they had the words Indians spelled out. You know, each one had a letter, and then number one. And so at the end of the routine, they flip up their skirts so it reads Indians number one. How did they think they weren't going to get in trouble for that? What cheerleader? So how's that different than, you know, I mean, it's not like you don't see a cheerleader's butt when she's performing. You don't. You don't see a cheerleader's butt? No, it's not their bare butt. It's on their kick pants. Yeah, but they don't. I mean. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I'm misunderstanding. I'm misunderstanding. So you're saying they were wearing pants with a skirt over it. Well, they're called kick pants. That's what cheerleaders wear underneath their skirts. They're called kick pants. And they're pants that go down to like your ankles? No, no. They're basically like underwear, kick pant, boy short type of things. They're like your underwear. Right. So they're not pants. They're called kick pants. They're called kick pants, but no. But what they actually are is like shorts. In between shorts and underwear, yeah.
They're kind of like, you know, big granny panties, if you will. Exactly. Whatever. They're supposed to look like underwear. Yeah. They're supposed to be like underwear. But they're meant to be seen. I mean, they're meant so... No, they're not. Yeah, they are. Yeah, they absolutely are. That's the reason you wear them, just in case, you know... And it matches the skirt. And it's the same with tennis. Like when they do their high kicks and toss them up in the air. Right, and you do a toe touch. Yeah, but... It's a freaking dress with leggings. It is? Thank you, Ashley. I didn't understand. I didn't understand. Ashley, what are they? It's a freaking dress and leggings. Oh, okay. I didn't know. Well, wait a minute. Here's what I don't see in cheerleading routines. I don't see in cheerleading routines where they're like, hey, check out my butt. Yeah, I mean, it is pushing the envelope. I got words written on my butt. Like, no one does that. It is pushing the envelope when you intentionally lift the skirt, but you always see the kick pants in the performance. I mean, it's not like the skirts are long enough. But you get the idea here. The idea isn't that you're going to see something by me moving around. The point is, I'm going to put something, and the point is that you look at it. I'm asking, what cheerleader thought that was going to fly?
I mean, I was a cheerleader, and if my squad captain said, hey, this is what we're going to do, I'd be like, oh, cool idea. Really? Yeah. I'm surprised nobody thought that they would get in trouble for that. Because people see them anyways. Yeah, I could see in this day and age, with everything so PC, I could see where they should have probably thought about that before doing it. But I think it sounds kind of harmless. Here's some of the cheerleaders and the parents. Cut 72. We were making up our dance, and we were just like, oh yeah, this is a really cute idea, let's do it. That's when the vice principal, Mr. Gokin, came over and told us that if we keep cheering, we'll get a two-hour detention. I've never been suspended before, so, I mean, it was kind of like an over-the-top punishment, you could say, because we really were just trying to have fun. The real problem is that the school feels they were defiant by continuing to cheer, but they wanted to support their football team. I heard Mr. Belding wanted to expel him. Oh, no. Not Mr. Belding. Belding! But they were lucky that Mr. Goulash, or whatever they said. Yeah. So, like they said in the clip, they were told, hey, if we, you know, go home, girls. If you keep cheering, you're going to get a two-hour detention. And they're like, okay. Mr. Goulash. Yeah, what about Goulash? What do you have to say about the whole thing?
And they're like, you know what, a two-hour detention is worth supporting our team. So they went on to cheer, accepting taking the detention, and then it turns out they ended up getting suspended. I do not want detention. It's garbage! I'd rather go home and make a sandwich. Detention cuts into that. It's a little extreme, I think. You know what I mean? It cuts into sandwich time. That's right. P1, Jessica. Hi, I just have a comment about the cheerleader thing. Go ahead. For a few years, I was the captain of my dance team at my high school. Yeah. And every single year at the end of our concerts, the seniors used to write seniors, and then the year that they graduate, like on their butts. And at the end, we would just kind of flash it and dance a little bit, and it was never really that big of a deal. It was just like a funny little thing that we always kind of did. Yeah. It seems kind of innocuous, but at the same time, it also seems a little bit, what do you call it? Oh. Oh, the word just... Like over the top? No, the word just flashed into my mind and then went away. It's a little provocative. Yeah. It seems like the whole idea of it is to be provocative. But then look at the routines. I mean, the routines are provocative and no one has a problem with that. I think that some people do. I don't have a problem with... Well, they don't get suspended for them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you got to admit, Skye, that like, yeah, you're right. Like some of these dances look a little provocative.
bending over and showing your butt with letters on it is like, and the idea is like flashing and check this out, what's written on my butt is a little bit more provocative than other stuff. wow that's why i thought it was making the news maybe i like don't understand there's something i'm missing no well i mean i think you're you're saying what the school is saying what the principal is saying you know what i mean and i'm now wait a minute if i were the principal i don't know that i'd be suspending anybody right i think what i do is i when it was all done i'd say hey girls that's real fun and everything but do me a favor there may be some parents that may not appreciate the flashing of the butt with the words written on there. Sure. Yeah, no, I get that. You guys might want to watch the butt flash, which I just got from my Canon Rebel. Oh, yeah? How's it working? It's fantastic. It's an aftermarket accessory. I heard it has a crack. Oh, that is. Wow, Eddie. P1 Cabinet. Eddie, you're waving to the crowd now. Thank you. P1 Cabinet Master. Go ahead.
Yeah, I just wondered, how is it any different from a bunch of guys putting letters on their chest during a football game? Because the chest is not considered a provocative area of the body. But it wasn't a naked body. That doesn't mean it isn't a provocative area. I'll tell you something, sir. It's the same reason a guy's chest isn't as provocative as a woman's chest. How many ladies do you see out at those football games bare-chested with letters written on them? There's a little different thing going on. Really? Donny Osmond was really, I guess, kind of upset about what Larry King did to his sister asking about the son in rehab. Donny's nephew, his sister's son, she didn't bring it up to Larry King, and on live television, he says, how's your son doing in rehab? She's like, how did you know about that? Cut seven. It's just unfortunate that Larry King had to throw that question at her like he did. I didn't appreciate it, but that's the way Larry King does things, you know? I thought it could have been done a little bit more sensitive. MTV Arabia launched yesterday. Yeah, you heard it right. Yeah, they say that the Arab version of MTV will show less bare skin and less profanity. That cheerleading routine would not go over well. No, definitely not.
On MTV Arabia. They will focus on hip-hop and R&B. 60% will be international music. 40% will be Arabic music. That's Christina Aguilera of the radio. Number one on the hip-hop charts right now. And they will be doing some shows. That woman that you just heard, she is good. Sounds like a name. That is the number one female recording artist. That sounds like a name. a man in all of wow so they will um they will have some of the reality shows that mtv has they will have something called hip-hop-na which means our hip-hop and uh you know they'll audition local hip-hop apps they got the dunes which is kind of a take off of the hills yeah that's a great one i love that one uh they'll also have drama though Welcome back to Arabian TRL and today we're standing out in the middle of the desert which is like Times Square but They will also have their own version of Pimp My Ride Pimp My Camel Too easy
And they'll also have a show called All Hem, which translates to The Dream, which is based on the MTV show Made, where teenagers get made over to be models or rap stars or whatever. Eddie, did you see Man vs. Wild? Yes. How'd you like the camel? Dude. Anybody ever say anything about Bear Grylls? That was by far and away the craziest thing I've ever seen on television. What? He's trying to... Let you know what to do if you're ever stranded out in the Sahara and you run into a camel and you're dying of thirst. First, he cuts into the camel's stomach and realizes that there's a place in the camel's stomach that stores water. So he, with his hands, reaches in and cups his hands out of the inside of this dead camel with water and drinks it. What? First, he does that. Oh, yeah. First, he does that. Oh, yeah. That's nothing, though. That's the first. Yeah, that was like that. When you saw it in his hand, it looked like water. Oh.
Okay, it was clear, fluid, and he was taking it, he was going, and he was drinking it. And he goes, this is actually stored inside of the camel. And there's places where you can get to it, and if you open up the camel, and you know just where to cut, you can do this. If you're dying of thirst. Then, he takes his buck knife, identifies where one of the camel's three stomachs is located. He makes an incision. Whew. And by the way, when he makes the incision, the animal's dead, when he makes the incision into the membrane of the camel's stomach, it goes... No, thank you. And he goes... He goes... That is terrible. Terrible. So he opens it up and you look inside and you see that this is the digestive tract of the camel.
And it is a green and yellow clump of what looks like hay. It kind of looks like hay. Almost manure-like. Kind of. It's like wet hay with like... Digested hay. Yeah. But it's greenish, it's yellowish, it's brown. It looks like diarrhea. Yeah. But it's definitely got a consistency of... You know what I mean? Oh, my God. So he says, if you're in a situation where you're dying of thirst, you could resort to this. Oh my gosh. And he takes a medicine ball sized clump of it. No. Puts it over his head. Come on. Squeezes it into his mouth and drinks it. Yuck. To survive. To survive. Yeah. Guy's a survival expert. He's the greatest. He is a man amongst men.
The guy is a man amongst men. He's a man amongst boys. Yeah, he's a man amongst boys. Yeah, a man amongst men doesn't really make sense. No, I didn't. I was just trying to help you out there a little bit. He's a boy amongst men, you guys. That's not that cool. That's how tough he is. That's not that cool. That's not cool. Yeah, Sean's trying to recoup. You got to watch it, Sean. It's crazy, man. Simon Cowell just admitted to having plastic surgery. I'll tell you what he did after this.

Wizzy gave her Levi Strauss Signature Jeans, and poof, the jeans were so comfortable and fit great. Wow. His name's Chris Brown? Right. I thought that you kind of, if you're famous, you kind of get dibs on a name. I don't know how that would be. Well, yeah, I mean, there can't be like another Tom Cruise now. There's already a Tom Cruise. But I mean, he wasn't born famous. Yeah, but Chris Brown was famous first. Yeah, I will try my best to be out in February. Oh, okay. Is it that difficult of a word? Well said. I mean, she's struggling.
To get through that. I want to start by the February. Just start everything in May, Celine. And then it's way... If you just start everything in May, it's a lot easier. She almost swallowed her own tongue. English is so difficult for people. From France, it really is. Or French. If you speak French as your first language, English is baffling. Fab-a-lary. Bar-a-lary. Bar-a-lary. Cheese with... The theater. Oh, wait. No, no, no. Hang on. Before... Wait a second. Before... I go to the theater. Whoa. Simon Cowell. He... How dare you? Oh. I was just going to say, before we went to break. Rude. Simon Cowell just admitted to getting Botox surgery, where they shoot your face with poison. Yep. Poison? Botox is like a poison. What does it do? It makes the lines in your face soft, like give up. Like if the line in your face is like, you know. It paralyzes your face. Yeah, and it makes it go and undo the wrinkle. And now your face is smooth. Yeah, because there's been rumors that Simon Cowell had chest enhancement surgery. Like a boob job? Yeah, like a pec implants.
And he was asked about that, and he laughed that off and said, no, absolutely not. That would be ridiculous. Utterly horrendous. But Ben went on to say, yes, he has had Botox, but also goes on to say, every guy he knows who works in, you know, entertainment has had Botox. So it's not just him. This is pathetic. Do you know who has got a say? Yeah. Do you know who's most overweight? Mike. Do you know who's a germaphobe? Sean. Do you know anything to say? Seth. So if you think... Well, no, no, I mean... Oh, no. In the know. I mean, we were getting along during the commercial break, talking about Bobby Flay and how he's a jerk. Why is he attacking you now, Skye? I don't know. We're getting along so well off the air. Mikey, why are you attacking Skye? You're seeing eye to eye. All right, I'll be honest. Because I was afraid if I said Ashley, I'd really get it. Oh, that didn't make it better? That didn't help, I mean.
still came after me and now you also insulted her. Eddie and Sean and Rob know stuff. That didn't help either. Okay, well, you're a jerk and a sexist. Oh, no! How am I sexist? Well, because you constantly attack the women on the show. Wait a second. How do I constantly attack the women on the show? By making fun of me and Ashley all the time. But we have a game called the Dumb Chick Challenge. That's because there's two, you know, airheads on the show. Oh. Not true. Oh. Well. And I do attack Rob, to be fair. Seth? Not with the same regularity. Rob? Yes. Are you on this show? Yeah. I think that we make for equal opportunities. Equal? Well said. I don't know what you're... What's that? Didn't help. Great. opportunity offenders. I don't know what that is. P1 trivia. It works the same way that Dumb Chick Challenge works. One, two, three point questions. Ones are easy. Threes are hard. Now, understand we're off Thursday for Thanksgiving and we're off Friday because it's counted as a holiday and radio.
So Thursday and Friday, we're not here. So that means Wednesday is like our Friday. So call us now, 570-1053. Skye, you're having 10 people over for Thanksgiving? Yeah. Are you doing the cooking? Oh, wow. What the hell? I don't know. I don't know. What is that? It's split. I have the dishes that I do. The hub has his thing. But he's doing the main thing, the turkey and the tri-tip. What do you do? And I'm doing the sides. So you have decided you're adding the tri-tip. Yes. No ham. Right. Wow. I know, dude. You're blowing it. Hey, you don't got to tell me. What dish do you do? I do the green beans. I do the stuffing. Do you do green bean casserole? I like ham. No, I do this dish. Too creamy. Yeah, thank you. I do this dish with green beans, which are cooked up, and then you roll them around in bacon grease, and then you put little bacon pieces in there. Oh, that's good. I know what you're talking about. And little slivered almonds. Honey baked. And then, you know, a green salad and rolls and stuffing and all that jive. So you do all that? Mm-hmm. And what does the hub do? The big stuff? Yeah, the turkey and the tri-tip. So my mother-in-law announced to me that she heard me on the radio.
And she doesn't have to bring the oyster stuffing this year. I felt bad. What'd you do? I know, I felt bad. It's terrible. I shamed her out of the oyster stuffing. Aw. Now I got her on cranberry sauce. P1 Robot. Hey, what's up? How are you, man? Very well this morning. Good. You ready to play a little P1 trivia? Yeah, I'm ready to go. Okay, man. Hang on. And P1 B-Rob Defender is on the line. I sure am. Hi, B-Rob Defender. Hi. Robot, how old are you? I am 24. How long have you been listening? Since you guys were probably three years. Okay, and B-Rob Defender, how old are you? I'm 26. How long have you been listening? I'd say four years. Sky, who started last time? The girls did. All right, that means you're up, P1 Robot. You want a one, two, or three-pointer? I will start with a two. You got it. Your two-point question about The Mikey Show is, what do the members of the show call out
When they want to support each other, specifically Sean, during Who Can Sean Beat Now? I have to pass. I don't know. Guys, would you like to demonstrate? Chill town, buddy. Here we go, buddy. Chill town, buddy. What up, Sean? Chill town, buddy. What the hell? They yell out, chill town. Hey, Sean. No, let's not do that. Come on, buddy. Chill, chill, buddy. Hey, Sean. Honestly. Hey, Sean. Hey, come on, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey, Sean. Hey
Oh, awesome. You want it too. I do. You got it. Which one of Mikey's cats has a French accent? Great question. That's a real question, right? That is a real question. I'm going to have to pass also. Jeez. It's Wiss. Ross. The answer to the question is Sydney has the French accent. Yep. And the reason is because I cannot be trusted. I didn't know cats had access. Oh, well, you do not know anything, do you? No, no. Yes, I am French. I hail from a small town outside of the city of Paris. It is called Mimoire. And when I came here from Mimoire, I came here on the order of the French police. And when I came here, my orders were to infiltrate the home of any American family.
Find out what the American's weakness is. I have found out so far the weakness is food. This fat man I will eat. All he does all the day, all the night, eat, eat, eat like a pig. And one day when he is sleeping, I will kill him. That is my French cat, Sidney. I hate him. P1 Robot. What do you want? A one, two, or three-point question? By the way, nobody scored any points. Go ahead. What do you want? Leak. You want a what? A two-pointer. Your two-point question is, what does the show say every time P1 Nerd calls in? I have no clue. Come on, Brock. Are these real P1s? Come on, Brock. The answer is... Greetings. We say greetings. P1 Nerd. who that is? Oh, you don't know who P1 Nerd is? I don't know. Oh, dude. Wow, Skye just slapped the microphone. Don't you come at me. Here we go. Come on, guys. I don't want an Ashley Rob fight. I'm kidding. I was just kidding. Let him up. Oh, wow. Yeah, I know. She doesn't usually say she was just kidding.
I think he's still mad at me from Friday. We haven't even talked this morning or anything. It's super awkward. You guys talk over the weekend? I am not piling on right now. You guys didn't talk over the weekend? No, we never talk over the weekend, ever. Are you guys friends still? No, not really. Not really. But I definitely think he's still mad at me from Friday because he has not even acknowledged me today or anything. Rob, are you still mad at her from Friday? Be honest. Not piling on. Honestly, I'm not. But there was something this morning where she kind of like... snapped at me a little bit real early, and I was like, alright, already up. What did she snap at you about? What? When I was in her studio, I was sitting in her chair, because you were like, you know, go figure out how you can play that song for me so I can listen to her. I was sitting in her chair, and she came in, and she was like, what are you doing in my space? I was kidding, dude. Like, I was joking. Sounds like somebody's got a case of the moon days. Jeepers creepers. Wow. I mean, like, Completely kidding. It didn't sound like it. That's the only reason. How did you say it? She said that, and then I was like, well, I've got to show Mike something. Do the tonality. I don't want to, because I don't want this to go into anything. I can tell you exactly how I did it. How did you say it? Mike. How did you say it? I literally go, oh, looks like somebody's in my seat. Like, kidding? She called it her space, and then I...
That sounds like somebody kidding around. You know, like my kidding, sassy voice. Come on. Wow, Rob. You know what? You know what? She's right. Oh, no. Oh, boy. No, no. She's 100% right. She's 100% right. Sounds like somebody's got a case of the mundo. It's almost 10. It's almost 10. We're going to make it. I don't think so. P1B Rob Defender? I don't know. Come on. What do you want? A one, two, or three-pointer? I'm going to go with the one just so I can get some kind of points. You got it. There you go. Your one point question is, in a blind taste test, what was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be Skye's favorite type of ham? Costco? You are correct. Oh! Wow, I thought that was going to be a trick question. But you can put it on the boat. You got one point. Yeah, that test was wrong. All right, Rob. P1 Robot. All right, Rob. I will have to go with two again. You want another two? Yep. Who asked the questions in Bombed at the Beach? Ashley. That is correct. There it is. P1 B-Rob Defender. Let's go to three. Wow. Wow. That's crazy. Wow. What are you, Skyplane Dumb Chick? Come on. Right? What height does B-Rob give for himself? That's not fair. I thought you were the B-Rob Defender. You're like in love with the guy. You're B-Rob Defender.
Say five, seven. No. Five, eight and a quarter. Five, eight and a quarter. Shame on you. He just got so mad. Five, eight and a quarter. A quarter. A quarter. A quarter. Don't forget your quarter. Okay. P1 Robot? Yep. I'll go for three. Oh. Want to try to wrap it up? Go for the win. Good luck, sir. Name the food that Eddie is allergic to. Oh, man, I can't. The answer is bananas. Bananas. I know it. P1 B-Rob Defender. Come on. What do you want? I want a two. You got it. Where is Mikey from? Who said that? I am not from Mexico. B-Rob Defender, did you give an answer? No.
You did not give an answer? Deal. No. I don't know, Mike. The answer is Gilroy. Gilroy. I am from Gilroy, California. Yeah. P1 Robot. I have two points right now, right? Yes, you do. Come on, get the win, man. Let's go for three. Oh. You got it. Come on, bro. What is the name of Ashley's guardian angel that she has prayed to since the age of seven? You guys asked us on another P1 tribute too. Then you should know it. Should make it easy. Start with a C. Or does it? I need an answer. Clarice. Why would you do that, sir? That's not cool. That's right. Stop. It's not the name of my guardian angel. Something tells me that
an angel every night. Stop it. Yeah, that's right. That's right, Ashley. That's right, Dr. Lecter. I play the club. Stop it. I love her. You do not. What do you pray to? What do you say to her? I'm screaming. She says I can smell your... Wait a second. Hey! Hey! What happened? I can't believe you said that. We got weird right there. It was like a left turn. I don't know. The answer, P1 Robot, is Cecilia. Cecilia. Yes. P1 B-Rob Defender, I believe you have a point. Okay, let me go with a two. You're going to go with another two. Good Lord. You got it. What is Eddie's affiliation with the Chargers?
Oh, come on. Take an educated guess. There's got to be a few ones so upset hearing this right now. It's not even fair. See, it's tough for B-Rob to figure... And I'm being serious. It's got to be tough to find people that know because you can't ask them questions. All you can do is say, do you know the show pretty well? Well, I kind of... I'll give them certain questions that I know we've asked. And if they rattle them off, then I'm like, all right, you're good to go. And I kind of just have to trust them, you know? P1B Rob Defender, do you want to take a guess? I know that he does like the picks and stuff for the games. Oh, good Lord. I don't know. That is incorrect. Eddie is on the pregame show. He's a pregame analyst. I knew that. I listened to that. Why didn't you say it? Well, that's what the question was. I said, what is his affiliation with the Chargers? He's their pregame guy. I knew that. Oh, for goodness sake. Don't go away. We got to take a quick timeout. When we come back. When we come back. Hey, well, he's only got, how many points does he have, Robot? He's got two. He's got two. She's got one, right? Yep. So it's a pretty close game right now. Can they use a lifeline? I mean, give me a break. Be right back and finish it up.

are one of the over 100,000 Volkswagen owners here in San Diego County, please listen carefully to this important free service announcement as it may benefit both you and your car. For over a decade now, every new VW has come with a HEPA smoke and pollen filter which cleans the air you and your passengers breathe while you drive. Given the recent fires in San Diego County, we're concerned that this air filter may have absorbed the lingering smell of smoke and potentially harmful ash. So, in concern for your health and your comfort, the seven Volkswagen dealers here in San Diego County have volunteered to replace this smoke and pollen filter in your Volkswagen for free. If you drive a 1998 or newer Volkswagen, stop by any of our seven San Diego County Volkswagen dealers during their normal service department hours and they will install a new filter in your car at no cost to you. Please visit sdvwdealer.com. Filter supplies are limited. And please respond to this offer before the end of November. Thank you for your attention.

Well, we could talk about it in the air. I've been meaning to mention it, and I always forget. I always forget about that. We're K-I-O-Z San Diego. Oh, wow. That really hit me by surprise. Okay. Well, let's finish doing a little P1 trivia, and then we'll get back to it. P1 Robot. Yes, sir. How are you? Okay, you want a two-pointer. We're doing P1 trivia. Winner gets to come and hang out in the studio with us on Wednesday. All right, P1 Robot, you want a two-point question. Eddie, what's the score? Well, Robot has two points, and B-Rob Defender has one. Okay. First person to five points wins. They have one, two, and three-point questions to choose from. You want a what, Robot? Two-point. Two-pointer. Your two-point question is? Sorry. P1 Robot, your two-point question is, what station was the Mikey Show on in San Jose? Wow. Well, you're on at night in San Diego on 105.3. That's correct. Well, that answered that question. San Jose. Do you not know? I don't know the station in NorCal, no. The station was KSJO. P1B Rob Defender. I'm going to go with a one so I can get more points. There you go.
Who on the show has a childhood toy named Kitty McMew? I think that's... That's incorrect. We're going to be here forever. Killing me, Smalls. Killing me. It's too late to start over. Oh, my God. It's Ashley. Oh, my God. P1 B-Rob Defender. Yes. Or, excuse me, P1 Robot. One, two, or three-pointer. This is so bad. I'll have a one. Your one-point question is... Name any well-known call-in P1. Did you get people that listen to the Jeff and Jerry show? I know this. I'm a little nervous, that's all. Oh, dude, well, calm down, take a breath, and answer the question. Well, because he lied to me then. He said, I've been listening for three years, and oh, I know so much. Come on, robot, you can do it. Name any well-known call-in P1. Oh, my God, dude.
I'm too nervous right now. Okay. Well, I mean, we got a million. Should I forfeit right now? Yeah. Yes. Yes. I want you to forfeit right now because I don't want to keep doing this, you know, where we keep asking questions and nobody's getting them. It's ridiculous. Do you want to forfeit? I do not want to. I have wanted to come in for such a long time. Okay. Okay. Okay. Just calm down. Calm down. Just keep in mind hundreds of thousands of people listening. Don't be nervous. Just know that thousands of people are hanging on your every word. Don't freak out. That doesn't make you better. Right now, everybody's hanging on every breath that you see. P1B Rob defense. Come on now. You want a two-pointer. Why? Your two-point question is who does pressure... Whoa, hello. Does what? Who does President Bush's voice on the show? That would be you, Mikey. I'm so... Eject! Will someone forfeit? Eject! No, it didn't. The answer's Eddie, yeah. The answer's Eddie. Eject! P1 Robot. Oh my god.
Who won the 2007 Mikey Show P1 Apprentice? Death. That's correct. Oh, he's got a point. He's got a point. P1 B-Rob Defender. Yes, I'm taking one. You want a one. What show member just visited Martha's Vineyard? Oh, B-Rob. That is correct. Oh, hey. It's now three to two. Three to two. We'll eventually get there. P1 Robot. One. This is insane. What was Boston Rob hired to do on the Mikey show? No way. There's no way. That's incorrect. He does now. He's hired to be a stunt boy. P1B Rob Defender. This is terrible. It's embarrassing. Your two point question is what is Skye's
Second car called? Oh, no way. There's no way. You gotta know this. No way. There's no way she will. Come on, you know this. There's no way. B-Rob Defender, what is... No way in hell. What's Sky's second car called? No way. No way. No way. Just say you don't know. You're wasting your time. Come on, B-Rob Defender. Just give us anything. Well, I know it's not the... The Donkey Kong thing, is it? How do we screen these calls? Donkey Kong thing? I am horrible at what I do. Are you sure? Are we even sure they really want to come in? This sucks. Utterly horrendous. P1B Rob Defender, the answer is the beach car. Accidentally hang up on them. She calls it the beach car. Accidentally hang up on them. When do you listen? When we're off the air? P1 Robot. I've listened to you play the Dump Chick Challenge, and the questions that you get are a lot easier. Thank you. And you still miss them. Yeah, but it's not my choice to play Dump Chick Challenge. You called in, ma'am. P1 Robot. One pointer. One pointer. Your one point question is, what is the segment called where B-Rob eats weird food? What is it? What is it?
Oh, no way. I mean, we played a highlight of it earlier this morning. You guys are doing a practical joke on me. You guys would make so much fun of me if I came in on Friday or Wednesday anyway, so I have to forfeit. This is horrible. Thank you for forfeiting. I will allow it. I will allow the forfeit. But am I really supposed to let B-Rob Defender? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. B-Rob Defender, I'm going to give you one last question. If you can get it right, you can come in. Are you ready? You get to pick one, two, or three-point question. Whatever, I don't care. Okay, got it. Here is your one-point question. What month was Mikey's son born in? Oh, my God. No way. Thank you, B-Rob Defender. Thank you. Listen, I just hung up on her. I feel so terrible that a true P1 is not going to come in on Wednesday. So, Rob, you know the P1s.
Take some phone calls. Oh, I got it. Find us a P1. You got it. What do you mean you got it? Yeah, what do you mean you got it? What do you got? What do you got? I got what you're saying. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. As opposed to what you just did. Yes. Eddie. I'm sorry. I'm just saying it. He's a hothead. Eddie, he's a hothead. I'm not a hothead. You're not a hothead. He's going to explode. Watch out. Hurry up. All right. Look at his face. Now, we were talking about this off the air right now. Oh, yeah, get it. And Eddie, you go, well, how do you know? I just know. I don't know what else to say other than I just know. It was very apparent to me the first time I ever watched it, but Eddie says no, they're real. I'm talking about the Coors Light commercials that you see every Sunday during football. What they've done is, apparently, they weren't allowed to use the actual press conference stuff. And they take the press conferences of the coaches and they edit in the guys responding to it. Only those press conferences were not the real ones. They weren't. And there's a lot of ways that you can tell that they're not. But one of the ways that you tell is you never see any team logos or names. There's never any team logos or names. But I can tell that it's not. Because they're blurred out because the course doesn't have the right. They're not blurred out.
They're not blurred out. Blurring out looks like you can tell when something's been blurred out. Well, I'm looking at a YouTube video of one right now and it's blurred out. You see like digital enhancement. And well, wait a minute. Let me let me say this. That may actually be the case. It may actually be the case that they blurred them out for the commercial. But I'm telling you, those are not the actual press conferences. Now, we'll go back and forth agreeing or disagreeing. This is what I'm going to tell you. When they're on on. Thursday, because they'll all be on on Thursday. You'll see them all day on Thursday, because it's Thanksgiving. It's Monday Night Football. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Monday Night Football. They'll probably be on a night. Watch them tonight. In fact, yeah, watch them tonight, and you're going to see. I can prove it right now. Go ahead. Well, they have two different ones with Dennis Green. One when Dennis Green was a real young coach, and then one from the one last year when he was like, you know, we are who we thought they were. So how could they fake them? What's the young one? Look it up. He looks completely different. He looks like a young guy. Send me a link. Send me a link. Okay. And then they also used the very famous Jim Mora playoffs, which they didn't read. Where they actually show Jim Mora. I've never seen that one. If that's the deal, I've never seen that. Well, I'm not making it up. No, no, no. I've never seen it. But I'm telling you that this is what I'll say. Maybe.
They do use some that are real. But I'm telling you that the one where Dennis Green is doing We Are Who We Thought They Were, not the real press conference. The one of Bill Parcells seeing Bigfoot, not a real press conference. It's a staged press conference. But you have no proof. You're just saying that. I'm telling you, dude. I'm telling you. I know that they're not. And you're looking at me like, well, how do you know? I just know. Because, I don't know. I just know. They're not. And I wish that we could get, if we can get one of these guys on the phone, we can say, hey, I'll say to them, hey, did you guys have to recreate those press conferences? Well, what I'm reading is saying that the NFL has veto power over what clips get used for the course commercials. Makes sense. So, if they have, like, they couldn't have veto power over, like, you know what I mean? And they don't use any current head coaches. It's all former head coaches. When you say they have veto power, all that means is they can say, no, I don't want them to put that. They can say, no, I don't want them to recreate that clip? No, because in my opinion, they are recreated. So I don't know what that has to do with the veto thing. Well, the NFL would have no say in it if it's recreated. They're not current NFL head coaches. Well, no, that means that they saw it and they approved of it.
They saw the recreation and they approved of it. But how could they have veto power over somebody who's not? Oh, you're saying the NFL does not have veto power. They do have veto power. I don't get it, what you're saying. So if this person isn't a current head NFL coach, how could they have veto power over what this person does? I'll tell you why. Because they own it. They own stuff that has their image. They don't use any image. But according to you, if they're recreating it, How can they own that? If this person no longer works for the team, if they're not using logo, how can the NFL have veto power over that? They don't. They don't. Like, this is what I don't. I'll tell you how. I'll tell you how I know. Tell you how I know. Because sometimes they make what the person, the coach is saying to the person in the audience, it's like a stretch. Like, oh man, you got it. You know what? Let's do this. Get me some examples of the commercials. Like, let's get some audio of these commercials. Sometimes they have to, like, come up with stuff that they would be saying to fit the answer. I think it's the opposite. I think it's the opposite. I think it's a stretch, the things that they have the goofballs do in the audience to fit what the coaches are saying from the press conference. And that's what they're trying to...
That's what the commercial is supposed to do. That's what it's supposed to look like. It's like they're making a stretch out of it. When in reality, it's the other way around. Dude, that just reminded me of it when we said that. That's how I noticed it in the first place. Because I go, huh? And when I watched it the next time, I'm telling you, watch it tonight. I've seen it a thousand times. I want an expert. I want an expert now. What I want to get is I want to get audio. They're all on YouTube. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sean, are you still there? Yeah, yeah, sorry. I was looking online for these commercials. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's one like Jim Mora. Yeah, yeah. Is that one? Yeah. Now, I'm going to say this. I didn't know that there was a Jim Mora one, so there may very well be some that use actual press conference. And then they have the one with Bill Walsh, and Bill Walsh wasn't able to recreate him. He was on his deathbed. Oh, man. Okay, so again, I believe that there have got to be some that are real. And that Walsh one, If I remember correctly, I don't want to comment on the Walsh one until I see it again. But I will tell you, that is my opinion, some of them, because of what you're telling me, must be real. But I am telling you that I also recognize that I've seen a few of them that are recreations of press conferences and not real press conferences. Very clearly. But you can't say that because you don't know. Very clearly to me. Okay. Okay.
What? I just, like, I want to know so bad. I want a rep from Coors Light to come on and tell us. I know it. Because I was 100%, I'm 100% convinced that these are real press conferences. And until you even brought that up. Well, with what Eddie's saying, he's right. A young Dennis Green. So why would they do it two weeks? The Bill Walsh one. Two ways. I'll tell you why. I'll tell you why. Because some of them are. Some of the things that the coaches say and then what's happening in the audience, they're real funny, but they were like, come up with. Like, and I just, I have to have the audio in order to, and I thought as soon as I said this, Eddie was going to, I said this off the air. And I thought as soon as I said it, Eddie was going to go, oh, I know. So I was real shocked when he goes, no, dude, those are real press conferences. So now. I got to go watch them and I'll find the one and then I can like illustrate what I'm saying and where my opinion comes from. But I'm with Sky. I wish that we had somebody from the advertising agency that put that thing together. This is like going to be in my mind all day. I'm going to go around asking people their opinions. I want to know. In fact, it's so funny that this coming up because I've made a mental note to talk about it. Really? Mostly off the air.
You know, like, I've made a mental note to talk about them. Because to me, it's kind of dumb that they have to do that. And I wondered why. Like, what's the, well, clearly. Maybe it is like a half and half thing. That's why it's so confusing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. I mean, I've always just, you know. Well, I can tell you this one. The one with Bigfoot, for sure. In your opinion. In my opinion. For sure real. For sure fake. Like, you know, done in a studio. Oh yeah, for sure fake. A recreated press conference. Okay. A created for commercial press conference. And yeah, now we gotta get them. We gotta get like all the audio of them. Controversy. I love it. Maybe we can get somebody from Coors Light or something. How would we do that? I don't know. Weird. Let's see.
Julia Roberts is supposed to show pictures of her baby Henry on Oprah today. I can't imagine one guy caring about that. Van Halen played a surprise corporate show in Toronto, which tells me they probably got paid an awful lot. I mean, can you imagine? Yeah. How much money would they have had to be paid to do a private show? I have no idea. Well, especially in the middle of a tour. In Toronto. Maybe it got offered and they were like, well, we're going to be in that area of the country, but I have to be like crazy money. Crazy money. So they played for 14,000 employees for a company called Research in Motion, which is basically the company. 14,000? That's what it says here, yeah. Wow. Which is basically the company that created the BlackBerry. Well, that's a concert.
It's not like they're playing to 100 people. They're playing to 14,000 people. Oh, wow. That's a full-on concert. Yeah. I probably had to pay the same amount. Did you guys hear about what Saturday Night Live did? That's cool. They were going to show a rerun, and they did. Yeah. But then instead of the... Well, maybe they... I don't know. Sky, did they do the guest... recording artist that they had on that original episode or cut that out you know what I'm saying well what went down is um you know because of the writer strike Saturday Night Live didn't have new material you know the writers aren't officially writing material so they had to air a rerun of Saturday Night Live this weekend which I believe was the Brian Williams one from a couple weeks ago and um so the cast of Saturday Night Live put on a live performance of Saturday Night Live at a theater in New York, and the money went to benefit the writers. So Michael Cera from Superbad and Arrested Development, he was the host, even though it was all just done to a live audience, and they collected money for the writers. And all the cast of Saturday Night Live, except for Maya Rudolph, and even some old cast members came in and performed, and of course they said it was a lot dirtier than the version you see on TV.
but pretty cool. Two Hispanic last names are now amongst the ten most common names in the United States. Whoa, whoa. Martinez. Let me guess. Martinez came in number 11, so it barely didn't make the list. Garcia is number eight. Gonzalez. Iñárritu. Wait. Lopez. Flantes. Sanchez. Gonzalez. Esparza. No. Oh. I thought that was it. What are we missing? What are the most common Mexican names? Sanchez, we already said. Right? Did we say Sanchez? Yes. Rodriguez? Yes, Rodriguez is number nine. Hey, Rod. So now the ten most common last names in the U.S. are number ten, Wilson, number nine, Rodriguez, number eight, Garcia,
Number seven, Davis. Six, Miller. Five, Jones. Four, Brown. Three, Williams. Two, Johnson. And number one, Smith. We all know somebody with those names. It's impossible to not know. You know the other one? Nane. I think that was like number 12. I don't. Like Legadoo Nane. I don't have number 12. Just missed the top 10. Wow. He's really upset. He didn't have it bad enough with Norv Turner screaming at him on the sidelines yesterday. 150,000 people turned out for the Mother Goose Parade. Catherine McPhee was there. Lots of celebrities there. Mario Lopez was there donating his valuable time. Well, I think they were paid. Oh, they were paid. They were paid to be out there, basically. So, this El Cajon Councilwoman, she... talked to people and said, what do you want with the Mother Goose Parade? What would you like? And everybody said, more celebrities. So she got in contact with the Los Angeles talent broker who was booking celebrities for this event and they got sponsors to cover the cost of paying the celebrities to come out. P1 Rob. Good. We got some information on those Coors Light commercials. Go ahead. My dad is a current PR director for one of the NFL football teams.
And he deals with all that marketing and relations and stuff. Right. All the clips are real of the coaches. They just change the background, the questions, and the audience. So all the clips are former real clips. Oh, I see what you're saying. Well, listen, you're saying it. I got to agree with it. You're saying it. So your dad works for the NFL? Yeah. I'm telling you. I'm telling you, man. Don't buy it. No. And I got an email from somebody that said they mix them. That he's in the know and that they mix them. That there's some real and that there's some that have been recreated. This guy says his dad works in the NFL. P1 Jeff. How's it going? What's up, man? I heard it from the horse's mouth from Dennis Green himself saying that he never taped anything. Wait a minute. Was this a question that was posed to him? They were talking about his Coors Light promo on a radio interview, and he said that he never went in the studio, did anything. They just cut all the pieces together. I'm telling you. Mike won't relent. Mike will not relent. That one is, I don't understand how you think that one is fake. The Bill Parcells one could be, I don't think it is, but it could be the Dennis Green one by far. I mean, that one, I'm like, what are you talking about? Listen.
He didn't recreate that one at all. Oh, it's okay, Mike. I'm telling you, Scott. It's okay. Well, we have. I'm telling you. About 800 times. Something's up here. With you? I'm 100% sure. I can't relent on this one. Oh, boy. Oh, my God. Come on. I'm telling you. Well, we're both right. Yeah, I like that. How about that? P1 Bathhouse. Hello, boys and girls. What's happening? What's going on, guys? What up? The P1 that will be coming in. Oh, sweet. Stupid. Bathhouse, you're coming in. That's stupid. You're coming in Wednesday. It's a great P1. I don't even have to. Yes. You do not have to compete. You won because you're a good P1. Oh, I thrive on competition, but that's cool. I'll take it anyway. Yeah. Create those things. Mike, stop. They recreate them. Stop it, Mike. They don't. I'm telling you because the questions that they are being asked, or I mean the responses that they say to the questions being asked do not make sense. They would have never said anything like that. That's not true. On a couple of them. But there's real press conferences that they say those things in. I understand. I understand. So I don't understand your question. So like in the Bigfoot one when Parcells says something like, well, I'm going to need to see further evidence of that. Visual evidence of this. Like that's not something he could say in a press conference? Yes. Sometimes it is. Oh, I'm so frustrated. Go home, Mike. Watch him tonight. Take notes and come back to us. Thank you.
I never expected anybody to say this. I'm being honest with you. Well, and I never expected somebody to say what you're saying. I know. I know. Wow, that's weird that we're different. I think we hit everything today. Hit it. I think we got through every single thing on our list. Did we talk about the Coors Light commercial yet? No. Oh, my gosh. They're fake. Shut up. I think they are. Shush. We need to get off. They're recreated. Stop it. By CGI. Uh-oh. This is going to consume you. It really is. Oh, you know it is. Yes, yes. Beyond. Yeah. Yeah, really bad. That's great. Oh, no. Dennis Green. You're not telling the truth, Dennis Green. Oh, no, he's lying? No, he's a liar. Oh, my God. Hey, come on, Mike. He has no reason to lash out. I don't know if the Dennis Green is one of them. Wow. I got to see. Mike. This is a great email that Ashley got.
Oh, did you see that? Dear Ashley. Did you see the pictures? No. Oh, I didn't realize those pictures. He attached pictures. Oh, I don't want to say bad stuff about the way somebody looks. That's not what I'm saying at all. Let me see. It's the pictures that he chose that are interesting. Dear Ashley, I can't tell you how much I'm in love with your voice. I can't listen to you on the radio anymore because you're going to make me crash my car. I get all woozy. Whoa. Oh, wow. I'm looking at the pictures. I mean, interesting choice is all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. What do you think, Eddie? Okay. That's a picture of him very, very drunk. Guys are brilliant. He attached three. Yeah, he did attach three. He thought, hey, listen, this is what girls like. Yeah, obviously. And I don't mean drunk. I mean hammered. He looks plastered. And then there's the one with him all scratched up like he got in a fight.
He's sweaty. He's covered in sweat. And then he's got a huge bandage on his chin because he looks like he got in a fight. When are you guys going out? Yeah. When's the wedding? I think we'd make a great couple. I'm not just some weirdo. I have a car, a job, my own pad, one block from the beach. If you're interested, get back at me. Just one date and I'm sure I'd woo you enough to get another date. Ashley, why you put him on blast? I did it, and I sent that to Mikey in the privacy of our emails. I know this is odd, but one chance, and you won't regret it. Yeah, real sweet. I am going to respectfully disagree with that one. A fancy? I respectfully disagree. I believe that Ashley would, in fact, live to regret it. It is just an opinion, but I believe... That if given enough time, and by enough time I mean three dates, he would regret it. Three? I thought you were going to say like three minutes. Come on. He's a straight shooter. Okay. Before he's sweating and getting into fights. All right. You guys, those press conferences are recreated. Mike, let it go. You're wrong. Come on. Accept it. It's okay. Accept it. It's okay. I've been wrong before. What? Save that clip. I don't want to. What? I have. Everyone has. It's okay. You don't ever admit it. I just said.
Right now. When? When was I wrong? Yeah. I can't recall, but I'm sure I have been. P1 Lancelot? Hey, what's up? What's up? Hey, man, Mikey, if they recreate them, how come they don't ever pan back to the speaker? Why is it always cut abruptly? You get what I'm saying? If they... What do you mean? Like, why don't they show the audience and the coach in the same shot? They don't do that on a regular press conference. Yeah, they do. They, like, look at the audience and then they say something and then they pan back. They don't cut out, you know what I'm saying? Pan back to what? Pan back so you can see everyone in the room at once. Every press conference I've ever seen with a head coach, the camera's on them the whole time and you hear people, reporters yelling out questions. No, like, they look at the speaker and then they move over to... the questioner real quick, and then they move back to the speaker. No, they don't. Just tell Mikey's right. He's not going to let it go, man. But they don't do what he... What's happening? Happening. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, this is P1 Danny from P1Site.com. Hey. I'm calling to get an update on the Cheaters Hotel. Go ahead. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what? I got so many emails about that. I know it, I know it. We were going to give the update on the Cheaters Hotel thing. Eddie, what's the deal?
Well, we tried very desperately to get the brother on the air with us. And he wasn't having it. He didn't want to come on. Very upset. Very angry. Didn't, to me, sound like he was going to leave the girl. I knew it. At all. I mean, at all. But didn't want to be part of the on-air shenanigans. It was kind of a bummer, but we tried really hard. Didn't you say that it almost sounded like he was irritated at his sister? Yeah, well, he was definitely irritated with his sister that she did that on the air. But I was kind of trying to get to the bottom of, well, you know, so is it over with what's-her-face? And it didn't seem like it was at all. Like, he seems like he's drinking the Kool-Aid. Oh, no. Or the Coors Light. Well, that would be recreated. Thank you. That's P1 Danny from P1, the number one. site, S-I-T-E dot com. Have we talked about the Coors Light commercials? Mike, please. Mikey Show. Hello? Hey, Mikey. Yes? I have a new idea for a concert you guys should do. A new idea for a concert? Contest. Oh, a contest. What is it? You know how you guys have that beginning theme song you guys play every morning when you guys come on? Yes. You guys should have P1 send in music that they've done that you guys can play in the morning.
I don't understand. You mean in place of what we already play? Yeah. Oh, dude. Hey, let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. People freak out when you change stuff. Listen, the song that I used to close the show with is this song right here. Yeah. That used to be the song that we started the show with. Yeah, I remember that. And when we changed it, People flipped out. They lost their minds. They were so angry that that song went away and I said, listen, just give us a little time and don't worry, you'll be fine. Ash, can you bring up the song that we start the show with? A lot of people, if this is the time they only listen to the show, they don't even know the song that we play to start every Mikey show with. And now we've been doing this one so long, the thought occurred to me the other day, I wonder if it's time to change that. Come up with something fresh, something new. Come on, Mike. Where is it?
Right there, I got it. Wait, that one has no lyrics. Sorry. That one has no lyrics. You don't want that one, right? I don't know. No, the open has no lyrics. Like it says on the log. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is the right one, I think. So this is what we play right now when we start the show at 6 o'clock. This is just a recreation. It's a recreation of what we do. Right, just... For those of you that think that this is a real beginning of a show. What about freshening it up? Couldn't do it. I knew I couldn't weather the storm of what would happen if we stopped playing. And you know what it is? People get into a routine and they don't want their routine messed with. The Mikey Show starts with that song and if it's not there, people flip out.
Your idea is duly noted, but I'm telling you, bro. It would upset people if we ever stopped playing the song we opened the show with. Not even for one day out of the week? Let me tell you. That'd be the worst one. That'd be the worst day to day. It'd be like, it's Friday! What are you doing? I need that song! Why, you got some good material, man? Like, seriously. Well, I do music on my third time. Really? Oh, I had no idea. Surprised. Maybe we'll do that. We might like it. Send it in. Maybe I'll play it anyway. All right. Thank you, man. Like, I thought, you know what? There's a lot of different songs that are hopeful. Maybe I'll get rid of Tunnel. Wow. On Friday. But people love the Tunnel. Maybe I'll get rid of... People need it. Right. And I thought, it's a great song. It's a song that I like to play about hope. There's a lot of songs that kind of convey the same message. Maybe I'll switch to a different one. And then I remembered what happened when I changed the open. People flip out. Come on. Death threats, the whole deal. If you stop with their whole song, you get the death threats. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey, what's up? It's P1JJ. What's up, JJ? Hey, I was listening to I Don't Like It When, and my favorite thing is I disagree with Ashley, but I love it when you say, what are we, children? I was wondering if you could say that. What are we, children? No!
Recreation. Oh, that really got him. Listen. Holy cow. Hey, how can you not tell that those things are recreation? What are we, children? The lovely and talented Missy is up next. She's got double shots on the nooner. We will see you again tomorrow morning. It's a short week for us. Thursday's Thanksgiving. See you tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show's out. Love you, Matt.
