It's 6-0-1. The State Bar of California has launched an investigation into San Diego City Attorney Mike Aguirre. Michael Vick's due in time. He surrendered early to authorities and began serving his sentence. He's not even scheduled to be sentenced until December 10th. Is it 8-10 yet? 8-10 this morning. The plan is I don't like it when. Sky and Eddie. And all I know is that Eddie just said to Sky, my list is so long. Just so you know. I mean, why is that necessary to say? Hey, listen, Skye. Just a heads up. Hey. You know, it may be considerate. Like, hey, I just, you know. Like, this could be a two-parter. You know, listen, Skye. I can hear you. Stop. Skye, before we bombed Japan, we gave them warning. That's the truth. But I thought this is a healing exercise. It will be. To make our friendship better. Yeah. Look at us in Japan.
Today. Great point. Good friends. But how long did that take? 40 years. So 40 years from today. You guys are going to be real good. We're like 90. Then we'll be friends. You sure will. Best friends. Okay. Creepy friends. With benefits. Okay, everyone. We'll be 90. Oh, you did? Oh, yes, I did. Oh, man. Mari Payton's out at Lindbergh Field. Let's see what she's saying. Reporting live from Lindbergh Field. Thank you, Mari. We appreciate it. Good job. Well, you know, it's busy travel time. Oh, yeah. Even Eddie's leaving today. That fog this morning was crazy. It was. To the airport, find out what's going on. Here's Mari Payton with the very latest. Mari, good morning. Bill, good morning. Well, as of right now, most of the flights here are on time, but you should check, of course, with your individual airline before arriving here. Now, things in L.A. were much different yesterday because heavy fog shut down a runway last night. It affected both arrivals and departures at LAX. Fog also delayed some flights into Long Beach. TSA says 27 million people will be flying over Thanksgiving, and they're hoping a new system will...
That's all? 27 million people? Dude. That's a lot, man. That's crazy. That's just in the security line. The process up. TSA created SimpleFly, a public service announcement that encourages travelers to pack smarter. Of course, bad weather can't be avoided as these LA travelers learned yesterday. About a two-hour delay getting into here and sat on the tarmac for another 40 minutes. And now we're hoping to get on our next flight out to Haiti. Happy holidays. It's not slowing us down. Our flight's down until 1 a.m., so it shouldn't be a problem. And the fog is expected to clear later on this morning. But, of course, since it's so busy this week, you should arrive to the airport extra early just in case. Reporting live from Lindbergh Field, I'm Mari Payton, NBC 739. Come on. Once you get there, it'll be all good, dude. Yeah. Get there and have fun with the family. I can't wait. Well, welcome to the program. It's a Mikey show. You can call us right now. 570-1053 is the phone number. And at the beginning and end of every show, we do open phones. So whatever you want to call in about is okay with us. You give us a call. As I said, I don't like it when? At 810. Yay! For the first time ever,
Sky and Eddie are going to participate in this therapy session. I don't like it when is when one person on the show has the opportunity to tell the other person I don't like it when. You do this. It's a healing thing. I don't want to. What do you mean you don't want to? Hey, Zeth, put a blast out. Put a blast out to the P1 text army. If you want to be a part of the P1 text army, text the word Mikey to 35253. Let them know that at 8.10, Sky and Eddie will do I don't like it when. I mean, I know we're only like one day into the week, but we've been getting along so well this week. This is going to improve things. Yeah, it's going to be a good thing. See, I don't think so. By the way, is that how we now gauge the weeks? Yes. But we've been getting along so well this week. So, yeah, we're going to do all of this today. It's going to be fun. Light them up. Okay. No. No lighting up.
Give us a call. I'm going to introduce everybody on the show, and we're going to get into it. My name is Mikey, and I'm the host. I'm 37 years old, and I'm wearing a v-neck t-shirt. I've discovered v-neck t-shirts in the last year, about a year, and I like them. Now, why v-neck as opposed to the traditional... Crew neck? Crew neck? Yeah. Like Shani's got. Something about it seems sexier. And because I am very attractive, I feel that the V-neck is somehow putting a little bit of lipstick on the pig. Wow. Like making me look a little better. Somehow. I feel that. Whereas if I had the crew neck on, it's not as sexy. I don't know. Maybe you should try the plunging neckline. Might be a good look for you. I have in the privacy of my own closet. Oh. Okay. I've tried the plunging neckline.
Doesn't work for me. Eddie's our producer. He's our sports guy. He's 34 years of age. He has dark hair, and on his left hand, he wears a wedding ring, which is still, still hard for me to get used to seeing. Eddie is also the pregame guy for the Chargers, and he's going back to the Bay Area today to visit his family. Yeah, won't be here tomorrow. Gonna miss the big show tomorrow. It's going to be cool. I'll get to golf with my dad a little bit and hang out with the fam. Yeah. I'm looking forward to having a day off. The Thanksgiving thing is going to be nice to have the day off. Unfortunately, I can't sleep the whole day, but that's what I'd like to do. Let's just get some good sleep. Skye is our news girl. She's 30 years old. I like the outfit today. It's looking real cool.
A little tracksuit, sweatsuit, whatever. The brown tracksuit. You know who would really be a fan of that? Who? My wife. These are the best. They're so comfy. My wife loves the color brown. And she feels that everyone should wear brown. I think she's right. And that brown is like the best color. And that brown is very practical. What can brown do for you? What can brown do for you? That's how my wife feels. Sean is our sound effects guy. He's 37. And he used to enjoy dressing as furry animals. Going to furry conventions. But he does not do that anymore. Because his wife was not as much of a fan of it as he was. Man. I respect her and her wishes. And so he... I guess you put it on a hanger. You put it in the closet. I don't know how they're... A chest? Ruins them if you put it on a hanger. How do you store them? Well, you can do one of several things. You tan them. Alright. No, no, no. That was, you know what? Hey, listen. I was out of line for saying that. It was a joke. I shouldn't have made it. Do they hibernate? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know anything.
Come on, man. Now he put his hands in the air and backed away from the microphone. Don't make him check out, man. We'll come back to it. It's too early. No thanks. Ashley's our assistant producer. She's wearing a white tank top. She's a funny chick. She's 24. Check it back! I believe she attracts strange guys. That email she sent me the other day from the guy... I think Ashley... Doesn't know it, but she sprays strange guy juice on her every day somehow. Strange guys love Ashley. I don't get along very well. I don't think with normal, boring people. Oh, come on. Wait a minute. That doesn't necessarily mean that they're boring. No, she's right. It does it? Most of the time.
I need someone who's got a little punch. First of all, no one is normal. There's not one person in the world normal. Everybody's weird. You know what I mean? And by boring, I mean like... You're not quirky. Responsible. No, because I think that I'm really responsible. You're a criminal record. You are. By boring, I mean you're not quirky. You don't have charisma. You don't have spunk. You don't have felonies. You're not as bad. You're not spastic. Jail time. I'm not someone who's got a little kick to them. This is how I describe it. Record. If they compare it to ice cream, it's like I like. vanilla ice cream. Like, who doesn't? For sure, like, vanilla ice cream tastes good, whatever, but I'd like my vanilla ice cream with the little sprinkles on it. You know, like, little sprinkle of felony on there. Chocolate sauce, and then I'd be like, mmm. Throw a little jail time. More appealing. A little squirt of cheat on me. Yeah. No, not at all. Nice little dash of where are you at 3 a.m. That's not what I mean. I like that sprinkled right on the top. That's not what I mean.
I like a nice little drunken dial me 1130. Stop it. That's not what I mean. You know what I mean. The dash of my friends hate you. Yes. That's how I like them, you know? A lot of you saps out there, ladies. You know how you go for those guys that are attentive to your needs? Don't use you as an emotional tampon. You know those guys. No. Well, they ain't for me. Stop it. That's not what I mean. Boston Rob is 24 years of age. Yep. And he offers a challenge. The guy's got the word Boston tattooed on his neck. That's unfortunate. Opposite. That's right. And then finally there's Zeth. And Zeth is the, he rounds out the seven-member Mikey show. He's 22 years of age. Oh, good grief. And he says, the guy reminds me of Charlie Brown. So how does he remind you of Charlie Brown? He says, you know how Charlie Brown kind of walks, sort of? Kind of slouchy. You know, nothing's very fast. You know, he's kind of the lovable loser, sad sack. Can't get out of his own way. Yes. You know? Yes. He's that to a T. Oh, come on, Charlie Brown. I'll tell you that.
He won the Mikey Show Apprentice, so he was a P1 listener, just like everybody listening. He was a P1 listener. He got involved in this contest, and first time I ever met him, I thought, this guy's pretty interesting. Pretty interesting guy. He's funny. Seth is actually real funny. But he has Tourette's. Yes, inappropriate. What? Yeah, he does. Have we ever discussed that? I think so. It reminds me of Boy Blunder, if we're being honest. He's a lot like Boy Blunder. where he, you know, he's very quiet, he's very shy, he's an extraordinarily sensitive guy, a lot like Boy Blunder. Yeah. And you'll be sitting there, the room will be kind of quiet, and he'll say this joke, and the joke will be so inappropriate and over the top and like, wow! Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It'll shock you, you know? He did it this morning. Like, it was quiet in here, and me and Sky were discussing something, and then out of the blue, he gets up and walks out of the room, and as he's walking out of the room, said, like, the foulest joke I've ever heard. And me and Sky were like, whoa! Hey!
Boy Blunder did that. Boy Blunder also did this thing, and I haven't observed Seth do this, but maybe he does. Boy Blunder did this thing where you would all kind of be joking around about something, and it was sort of this game of lob the joke ball, you know, and everybody would be kind of adding in, and then you'd lob it to Blunder, and he would take the ball, and with his joke, he would smash it on the ground. Spike it. Spike it, you know. Like, his joke would go... Yeah. over the top you know and you'd be like whoa dude we were having a good time yeah and your mom died of age right whoa yeah like wow little much yeah that uh that ends this doesn't it no longer fun that does that too like when you're doing it oh yeah takes it to a whole nother level right that is funny oh 5701053 is the number. P1 UPS is on the line. What can Brown do for you? Oh. Yes. What's up, dude? Bro. Hello, guy. I know you're there. You're not there. We just started. I know. I know. I don't know what happened. Maybe he's on the other line. Maybe he's making a delivery. Oh. P1 Mandy is on the line. Maybe it's a phone issue. Mandy? It's probably a phone issue. It's got to be. Well, this went well. I just talked to her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hmm.
Mandy, can you hear me? Yes, I can. Mandy, can you hear me? Ash, can you hear me? Hi, Mandy. Hello. Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead, Mandy. You're on the air. Okay. Actually, I'm calling to request B-Rob's song. My friends were like ranting and raving about it all day yesterday saying it was like the best thing ever. And I was wondering if you could please play it for me because I actually missed it. Yeah, we'll play it for you. But first, we have to play the song that's all about you. This is Barry Manilow. And Mandy. Oh, wow. That is pretty. Manila says, hey, listen, I didn't have much of a voice. All I could do is offer people great lyrics and sing them like I meant them. Apparently he was in love with a woman named Mandy. Mandy, on average, how many times is the song Mandy by Barry Manilow referenced in your life? A lot, actually. I bet. I bet. A lot. More than it should. Yep. Why would you send her away if she came and gave without taking? Well, I think that this song is an apology. I take it as, Mandy, I screwed up. And I ruined the greatest thing I ever had. And I'm just trying to get you back. No.
You don't deserve money. You're saying, as Mandy's advocate, agent. Big bro. Big bro, you're saying, hey, Barry, nice sentiment ain't going to happen. Yeah, you had the perfect girl. She didn't want anything. She was there for you, and you just sent her away. Although she'd die of throat cancer. Okay. That's what we're talking about. That's what we mean. Do you see what I'm saying? She got weird. Too far, bro. We were all there with our eyes closed as that was played. We were all swaying back and forth, enjoying the lyrics, kind of getting caught up in it. And then throat camps. That's really embarrassing. We're sorry. Mandy, I'm really sorry about that. And to make up for it, I will play you B-Rob's Thanksgiving song for 2007, okay? Thank you. You guys rock. Thank you very much. Sky loves ham. Sky loves it. Honey bear.
And I love Sky jokes. Ham on Thanksgiving. Honey baked for Sky. I feel bad for Zeth when Ashley makes him cry. That's ham for Sky. She'd enjoy a ham pie. Ash can be a bee. Ash sweats like a dude. Ash loves to take bites of Mikey's food. It's true. Sky's nickname is Murph. Sean's the weirdest guy on this earth. Salt in his milk, his yoga real warm. He gets horny when Animal Planet's on. Hammy dammy do, hammy dammy dap. Sky had a man serving, used to be black. Oh, Eddie is a funny guy. What's that voice? K-Boy, oh, love to make fun of Sky. That's right. Thanksgiving is the best holiday. Three to one odds we find out Zeth is gay. John is a big fan of Mr. Spock. And stands up while watching Matlock. White meat, dark meat, you just can't lose. If Skye had a choice, we know which one she would choose. Ham-a-lam-a-ding. Ham-a-lam-a-dong. Skye's husband was referenced in the last verse of this song. Didn't quite fit. Didn't quite fit. My style said...
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. Nice guitar work, Rob. Thank you. It's not his style. I just want you to know that. Well, to make the words fit in there. Oh, but isn't that, shouldn't that be everybody's style? No. I go against the grain, my friends. Rob says, hey, why be boring? Ashley is so attracted to him right now. P1 Dawn. Morning, guys. What's happening? Hey, I just want to say I'm thankful for your show. That's cool. Thank you. You guys up in San Jose moved down here to San Diego. It was refreshing to have your voice on the air again. And Mike, I don't care what you say. You're an attractive guy. I'm straight, but stop cutting yourself short all the time, guy. Oh, that's nice. That's nice of you to say. I was driving down the freeway the other day and my girlfriend looks up at the billboard and she goes, that Mikey guy, he's not a bad looking chap. I don't look like that anymore. That's the truth.
I don't look like that. I don't. What do you mean? I'm fatter. No. Oh, dude. Come on. I am. My weight is more apparent in my facial area. In the facial part of my body. Well, I just wanted to say I'm really thankful for you guys' show. You guys really get me going in the morning. Thank you very much. All right. Take care. You're a good person. P1 Venom is on the line. Yes. Hey, what's up, Mikey? He's being very stealth right there. That's right. That's right. What's going on, Venom? Oh, not much, man. Just on my way to work right now. Where do you work? Oh, I'm in the military, man. I'm in the Marine Corps. What are the kind of hours when you're in the Marine Corps? Like, what's a work day? What time you get there? What time you get to go home? Oh, we're supposed to be there by about 6.30 this morning. I usually get out about 6.00. That's a long day. That is a very long day. You get an hour for lunch? Yeah, just about, usually about 45 minutes. Does the military feed you? Well, it depends.
If you live, you know, on base, most likely, yeah. But if you live in the barracks and you're single. I get you. I get you. What were you calling about, man? I don't know if y'all watched HBO last night. They had this PETA documentary about the woman that started the PETA Foundation or whatever. And I just kind of thought, you know, me and my wife were sitting there down watching it. And, you know, she was blatantly saying, you know, she was an atheist. And, you know, she believed in animals, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, when she would talk to people, she would use words like, you know, heaven and earth. And she was talking about the Lord and everything. And I just thought that was very, very, you know, I'm professional for her to say that she's an atheist. And then she starts talking about God and everything. Well, everybody's got a right. Everybody's got a right to, you know. Well, there she is. Listen to that lady. Well, this one. This lady. What's that?
Stable. Hey, thanks for the call, Venom. You guys have a good day. Thank you very much. This is good, what I'm about to get into. And I don't mean to have such a sound of jubilation. It isn't, and I want to be clear, it's not jubilation. It really isn't. And gosh darn it, it bums me out that I just got so excited. I'm being serious. I just was like, you gotta be kidding. That's where it comes from. It comes from a you got to be kidding place. Keith Olbermann has a TV show called Cross. What's it called, Eddie? Do you know? Countdown. Countdown. Countdown with Keith Olbermann. And he does a feature that he's now taken to his Sunday Night Football in America or Football Night in America. He does that with Bob Costas and he does this thing called the worst person, the world's worst person. And which is just I mean, that just sounds funny. Now, let me tell you something. I mean, here I am. I'm like, that sounds funny till I'm on it. You know, I wouldn't want that. But anyway, Keith Olbermann does this show. And this person made his world's worst person list. Cut 40. Runner up, Michael Aguirre, city attorney for San Diego, California. He is investigating the public television station there, KPBS. He wants its emails, its financial statements, its donor records, its records of contact with the mayor's office.
City Attorney Aguirre has issued a report accusing KPBS of, quote, abrogating its duty to maintain objectivity and balance in its local public affairs television programming, of possibly violating antitrust laws because it canceled a local interview show called Full Focus, a show on which between July 2003 and its last broadcast on August 1st of this year, a guest on 15 separate occasions was... City Attorney Michael Aguirre. Come on. They canceled the show you were a guest on, so you're threatening them with prosecution. Nice. Nice. Nice. Yes. Oh, my God. He's not making national news. Dude. National. Well, I mean, we sit here, we wonder, well, why is San Diego so messed up? Why can't we figure it out with the Chargers? And why can't you? Holy Toledo. Well, apparently. The State Bar of California has just opened an investigation into Mike Aguirre. Yeah. Wow. What's the deal, Sky? Well,
Well, they haven't, you know, obviously nobody is going on the record speaking of this. The state bar isn't commenting. Mike Aguirre isn't commenting. But people who have been interviewed by the state bar have talked to, you know, like the Union Tribune and stuff about what they've been interviewed about. They say a wide range of issues from Aguirre's legal work to his public statements to his conduct. They say investigators seem interested in whether Aguirre had ever taken action or made any public statements that are contrary to San Diego's interest, you know, basically doing what's good for him versus what's good for the city. One guy who was one of his former top deputies said that the investigators were very interested in talking about a court declaration he made where he said it was his experience that Gary used criminal authority in his office to attack people who he believed to be his enemies. Yeah, so no surprise. He's like a Batman character. Yeah, Winogary was contacted. He said no comments. I'll get you Wayne Enterprises. Right? Attorney man. Weird, man. That is just the nuttiest story, man. National stuff. So yeah, if they disbar him, I don't know what's going to end up happening. Get this guy out of here. It's crazy. Speaking of suing,
California is suing 20 toy companies over this lead in toys thing, man. It's turning up everywhere. Yeah, including Mattel and Toys R Us for selling toys with, quote, an unlawful quantity of lead in them. Which scares me, because I can't keep the Rubik's Cubes out of my mouth. Oh, wait. Who knows what will happen to me. That's not right to sue Toys R Us. They don't know that Mattel is putting lead in their toys. Yeah, what about the toy? Like, what is Toys R Us now? Yeah, I don't know. Let me see if it says anything. I haven't read the whole story. Yeah, they say Toys R Us has not returned calls, seeking comment. But yeah, that doesn't make sense. It really should be the toy makers, not the people who just sell them. Everybody's suing everybody. Yeah. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are suing Showtime over the TV show Californication because they have a song called that. Maybe they trademarked it. They're claiming violation of a federal trademark.
They say that their album achieved an extraordinary critical and commercial recognition. And that's their signature CD. And for a TV show to come along and steal their identity is not right. They want Showtime to stop using the name and turn over any profits it has made from the show. Are you kidding me? Right? Turn over any profits? But wait a second. Can you really say that the show made all the money it made just from the name? Like you'd have to think that maybe. I'm just throwing this idea out there. That maybe the show made any kind of money because people liked the show. I'm just throwing that out there. I know that sounds nutty. It's all Chili Peppers. It is. It's all the name. Yeah. Like they tune in every week just for the opening credits. You watch that show, Under the Bridge? Mm-hmm. Same thing. Great show. Great show. Well, we'll see. We'll see what happens with it. Eddie, how stressed out are you on a scale of 1 to 10 about traveling? It's really up there, man. I'd probably say about 8 or 9. And it's a lot because we're leaving in the afternoon, and my wife decides she's working today. And so...
I'm like, babe, you got to be home at this time because, you know, there's going to be so many people there. And, you know, it's going to be crazy enough as it is. And she's like, oh, yeah, I think I can be here. Oh, gosh. I'm like, please don't do that to me. Please don't do that to me. I need a guarantee. How long before the flight are you planning on getting there? An hour and a half, which I think is okay. Two hours, I think that's, you know, kind of ridiculous. I don't know, man. If I was traveling by myself, I would be there two hours before. Wow. Is there any chance that this turns out to be a thing where when we talk to you on Monday, you're like, yeah, dude, I showed up, and it was so easy. It was like that last year. I did the same exact thing last year, and there was no line at the curbside check-in. There was a bit of a security line, but you've got to expect that. It was nothing like I was expecting. Man, I'm nervous. Well, I just, you know, because of the fog and LAX closing a runway and delays there, we've had Zeth checking the website for Lindbergh Field all morning, and he just sent me an IM saying they're starting to delay flights in the 8 a.m. hour due to the fog. So definitely check with your carrier before you head on over to the airport this morning. It's pretty foggy. Lots of fog. Maybe they'll...
Maybe it'll burn off early. Well, yeah, it's supposed to burn off by the late morning. I'm going to go now. No. I'm just going to go check in. Don't worry. I'll come back. I'm going to go check my bags. No. Real quick. You want to borrow a Jake so you can get in? Yeah. Dude, I'll watch him for the week. Okay. You're getting that plane real easy. Yeah. Did I tell you guys? That we cannot go to my brother's house for Christmas? No. Why? It was the weirdest story in the world. What? What do you mean? It's the weirdest story in the world. So my parents are going to go see my brother in Tucson. Mark. They're going to go see him in Tucson. Okay. And they're all excited. And my mom brought up to Rebecca, would you guys consider going? And money is tighter than it's ever been. We're broke. We're broke. But we talked about it, and we said, well, we're working out. We're trying to juggle numbers. If we stay with Mark, I think we can do this. So I said to Rebecca, I said, well, the weird thing is we haven't been invited, but it kind of goes without saying. It's a kind of goes without saying thing. And then I said, you know what? Forget it. I'm just going to bring it up to him. So I did, and he was like, yeah. He goes, all I can say to that is get down here. I'm like, okay, cool.
He says, the only thing, he says, I got to check with Joanne, his wife. He says, who I've, she's been in my family since I was four. So she's my sister. He says, I got to check with Joanne. But, yeah. And I know what that means. In family language, when you just know stuff, that means, yeah, you're in. Calls me back the next day. He says, I talked to Joanne and I didn't know this. But Jennifer, his daughter, is bringing friends. And so it would be my mom and my dad, Mark and Joe, Steve, Jenny and her friends, me, Rebecca, Jake, and her mom. And their house is small. Like real small. So we can't go. Wow. I know it. That's crazy. It's crazy.
Like, it's hard to wrap my head around it. That's crazy. That blows, man. I know it. I know. So, and Jen, my niece, she figured it was a done deal. It's Guidelines for a Platonic Friendship. And it's actually written by a guy that is married. He's just offering advice to guys that may be having an issue with this. He's trying to straighten it out for the record. Because sometimes it gets confusing.
It does get confusing when you are a guy and you have a female friend. It does get confusing. And he gives some, you know, little quick hits about what it's all about. Just a couple, and we'll get to it later in full force. He says, no hugging for greetings or salutations. Hey, listen. Guy's just trying to help you out, man. Mixed messages. Friends can't hug? Mixed messages. No seat sharing? What does that mean? It says, when girls sit on the arm of my chair or in my lap or next to me in a one-person seat. Man, this is ruining all my friendships. Well, let me tell you the way he says it, Eddie. This is this guy. And listen, it's maybe not the way I would have phrased it, but this is how he's thinking of it. So when girls sit on the arm of my chair or in my lap or next to me in a one-person seat, it makes me think.
She wants some sexing. That is true. That is true. A possible exception is fitting an extra person in a car that is filled to capacity. I can't let my passion hurt the quest to maximize a designated driver. But be warned, it might not be the seatbelt that's poking you. Very nice. No judgment making on any girl that I see. No sparing of my feelings. No setting me up on pity dates. And no being attracted to me. No confiding in me about boys. Stop. Oh, man. Stop doing it, Ashley. No asking for man favors. You are describing me as a friendship. Such as furniture moving. No, don't.
Don't ask me to help you move. Seth helped me move. It makes me think you like me. I sit on his lap all the time. Try to avoid incidental contact. Just don't do it. No asking for massages or neck rubs. Just don't. Wow, don't. It's gotten weird. No dating any guy. Who treats you bad or neglects you in any way. It's just a slap in my face. No judgments on any of my behavior. And now I'm doing the bit that I told you I would do later. So I'll get to it later. There's more. It's funny. There's a lot of stuff out there. I really want to read this email and get into this email. Do we have time, Eddie? I've been wanting to read you this for a long time. I've seen people think that. I was kind of touched on it before, but it doesn't matter, man.
It's good. Hey, Mikey, I had a crazy situation go down at my place over the weekend. I had a little party with some friends on Saturday. Nothing crazy. About 10 people. I told everyone to bring whatever they want to drink, and I would provide the food. Well, one of my buddies brought a 12-pack of beer. Okay. He ended up drinking something else that someone brought, and that beer went unopened. Now, we've talked about this before, but it's worth bringing up again. This email hit me like a lightning bolt. He says, the party wrapped up, and as he was leaving, he asked me if he could have his beer back. I was in shock. I thought it was so rude. I actually told him off a little, and his answer back was he donated the beer to the party, not the host. He donated the beer to the party, not the host. And since the beer wasn't opened at the party, technically,
It was still his. I was so dumbfounded by his lack of tact that I just gave it back to him. Last time he comes over to my place. Anyway, I want to see what you guys thought of this sign. P1 Aaron and Lemon Grove. What do I think of it? I think it's terrible. I think it's rude. I think it's... You brought it... Listen. You brought it over... To me, it's very similar to... coming over to someone's house and because you've been invited, I'll tell you where this would be the worst is in the South. People from the South have like really good etiquette when it comes to giving gifts and bringing things over and stuff. In fact, I bet my friend Terry is listening right now and his wife would flip out at this email because she is so like courteous and sweet and giving like about bringing gifts over to the house.
But I think of it the same as like when you go over to a housewarming, you bring a gift, you leave it. You don't take it back with you. It's like once you donate, it's theirs. How do you feel? He's bringing it. It's for the party, though. It's not for the host. He's bringing it, and it's for the party, not the host. Well, the party is thrown by the host. I don't think it matters who it's for. I think what matters is that it's already been given. Well, what about, because in the email it said he was bringing, or he was getting all the food ready, and it was bring your own beer. So I'm assuming that it's his own beer to drink. Like the guy that came over was bringing a 12-pack for himself to drink, and if he didn't drink it, then technically it's still his. You know what I mean? Okay, maybe I see something different in a BYOB situation. Yeah, because I know people who are guilty of that. Well, wait a minute. When you think about a BYOB, BYOB usually says something to me. It usually says, listen, I can't afford to pay for drinks for all of you guys. Alcohol is kind of expensive, so BYOB. Right. Bring your own beer. Right. And if the party was a BYOB, I think I'm okay with you taking it. Hold on a second. Go ahead, Daddy. The email said he drank something else.
So he drinks somebody else's beer. So he has now eliminated himself from BYOB. You're talking me into it. I'm all in on that. He's got to leave it. If it wasn't, I don't see what the big deal is, personally. I mean, the guy brought the beer. He went, he bought the beer, he brought the beer. No one had it, or people had just a bit of it. So he should be able to take it home. But Sean, don't you see that as sort of poor etiquette? not really no tact whatsoever because i don't see it as a gift like if you brought somebody over like a bottle of wine and you're like here you go i brought this for you you know like that's a gift that you don't take that home to me this sounds like it was a community pile of beers and drink that's what it sounded like to me that's what i'm envisioning maybe i'm wrong and so if he donated his beer into the community drink pile and it went undrank and unopened, then it's not his. It's the party's host. The big question to me is, was this a very clearly BYOB? And I should say BYOD. Was it bring your own drink? If it was bring your own drink, Sky, I'm with you. Sean, I'm with you. But I got to ask both of you guys, if it's not, let's say it's just a party.
Okay. Somebody sends out an Evite and says, hey, having a party over at my place. Doesn't say bring your own beer. Okay. Doesn't say that. But you decide. First of all, we got to ask ourselves, like, what are you deciding when you take the alcohol over there? Are you deciding, well, I'm only taking this alcohol so that I can drink it. Not from the sounds of that email. Right. Because he didn't even drink it. Right. He brought it to the party. But, again, I'll ask Sky and Sean. It's an Evite. It doesn't say BYOB. You take over a bottle of wine. Everybody's drinking, but the wine bottle doesn't get opened. Do you take the wine back? I would not. I would leave it. Sean? If I arrived at the party and I took that bottle of wine and I gave it to the host and I said, here you are. This is for you. Then it's a gift. However, if I take that same bottle of wine over there and there is a...
shelf with or if all the alcohol is in one spot and I take it and I put it in that spot. In my opinion, that is mine to take if nobody drinks it when I leave. I bought it. It's mine. Question. Question, Sean. Question. I kind of feel you. Question. Bell rings. It's my party. I put out the Evite. I didn't put BYOB. I answer the door. There's Sean. He's standing there. He's got a bottle of wine in his hand. And I go, oh, hey, man. And I put my hand out to take the wine. I know any normal person would hand the wine over. Well, sure. You know, you're coming into my home. Hey, cool. Thanks, man. As you're coming in. Now, you haven't said to me, this is your wine. I'm giving it to you. You haven't said that. But I, as the host, have assumed, because you're standing there at the door. You're coming into my house. I take it from you. Same with the beer. Say it's a 12-pack of Coors or whatever.
And you're coming in, and I go, oh, cool. And I take it, and I go put it with all the other alcohol. Nobody touches it, Sean. Do you take it? It's mine. Oh, wow. You have no tact. You have no tact. Hold on. Wow. Excuse me. Hold on. W-O-W. Excuse me. Hold on. Especially if it's beer. Because nobody makes a gift out of beer. You could maybe construe a wine bottle as a gift. However, I would still take it home first. It's not a gift. You would still take the wine off. Of course I would. Nobody touched it. Nobody drank it. I didn't put a bowl on it, okay? I didn't put a name tag on it. It doesn't belong to someone. I didn't give it to someone. It's not a present. I didn't put it under a tree. You brought it to the party for everybody to enjoy, right? Yeah, for everybody to enjoy. Did anybody enjoy it? No. Thank you. It's mine. Bye. No. That's terrible. P1 Brew Crew has a caveat to all of it. What? Go ahead, Brew Crew. Okay. As soon as you explain to everybody that you're hosting the party and that you're providing the food, then at that point, I think that people understand that if you're bringing beer, it kind of, you know, the host is providing food, so you're providing the drinks. Sean would eat your food and take his beer. Nobody drank it.
That's awful. So you would, Shawnee, so you would eat the host food and then take your beer? Yeah. Come on. Wait, just throw in the party. Look, oh, I didn't realize I was entering into a contract and exchange beer for food. You are. You're having a, no, you know I'm not. You, it's an unspoken contract. It's an unspoken contract. No, it is not. It's your payment to come into the party. No, it is not. No, it is not. It is. Do not expect payment for the food. Right, it's the host choice. It's their choice to throw a party. That's crazy. And it's their choice to offer me food. It's your choice to come over and bring beer. Yeah. And take it home. I didn't tell you to bring it. Okay. But if you bring it, then it's now mine. You're in my house. So if nobody enjoys it, nothing costs. It's my house. You didn't gain anything. You didn't lose it. You ate my food. Give me my food back. You offered me food. You offered me beer. I offered the community beer. I offered the community food. And they ate it. Okay. Now the beer is mine. Okay. You take the rest of the food. I'll take the rest of the beer. See, this goes for food, too.
This goes for food, too. Who would ever take their food back? Sean. No, he wouldn't. Sky, would you take your food back? Are you kidding me? You would take your food back? Are you kidding me? If you brought chips and the bag went unopened, you would take that? Oh, my God, would I take it? What? Sky. You're the worst. Oh, Sky's thinking right now. Those wheels are turning. Okay, this depends. And the wheels are saying, how bad do I want to get beat up? Well, there is part of that going on. But if we're being honest and taking the beat up factor out of it. If I brought over a bag of chips and there is like a pile of food that goes untouched that the host is going to be left with, yes, I'm taking a bag of chips. And in my mind, I'm doing the host a favor. Get out of here. You ask before you take it. You say, hey, do you mind if I take my chips back? No. Holy cow. Can you imagine watching her walking out with a bag of weighties? I would freak. I would freak. Sky's living with the Funyuns. Hey, Sky.
Sky, if that's the case, Sky and Sean, if that's the case, why is it even important to take the same bag you took? Just go grocery shopping. Yeah, exactly. Why don't I go through my cabinets? Anything else I can provide? Yeah, exactly. What else are you not going to drink or eat? Turn it into a swap meet. Hey, I got an extra roll of TP back here. I didn't bring any of the other stuff. Thank you, Sean. I'm only taking what I brought to the party because that's fair. Did you guys hear that? Eddie goes, I got an extra roll of TP back here. But that's Eddie's TP. It's Eddie's Doritos, man. If I brought the TP and nobody used it, I'd take it. Sean, you are crazy. You're the best. P1 David. Hey, good morning, gang. What's up? Okay, I have the hands-down greatest story about bringing something to a party and then taking it back. About 10 years ago, my wife and I are going to a fairly nice upscale party. Not too frou-frou, but not, you know, not beer and soda either. At any rate, at the end of the evening, there's a huge commotion in the kitchen, and there's a husband and wife just going at it, and the wife is screaming. I mean, literally screaming about bringing the bottle of wine that they brought home because it hadn't been cracked open. I want you guys to take a wild guess what this bottle of wine was that she was having a hysterectomy over. It would have to be something very expensive.
I say it was a very expensive red wine. I love it. Well, someone just said it. Boone's Farm Struck. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. If they brought it. My wife and I sat there. I mean, first of all, they were like, you were almost horrified the idea that someone would go to bat over something like that. At the end of the day, I mean... My wife and I were absolutely hysterical. And really, finally, they end up more or less being escorted out of the party because it just got so retarded. Who brings Boone's Farm in the first place? I know it. What kind of party is this? They were fighting over the Boone's Farm. And as the door closed as they left, the other 30 people that were remaining, we just absolutely erupted. Wow. If everybody at that party had tossed in a nickel, they could have bought a couple more bottles for themselves. Yeah, no kidding. Unmovable. Anyway, love the show, guys. And by the way, for what it's worth, I'm sure you probably know this. I'm a driver for FedEx. I deliver. You know, I'm the guy that goes to the office in the mornings with your sign and your package. Right on. Did you know that our deliveries that need to be delivered before 1030 in the morning are referred to as B1? Oh, that's weird. I did not know that, but I love it. Then you should...
You should take extra careful, you know, extra attention to the P1 packages. You know what I mean? As a matter of fact, we really do. Those need to be delivered by 1030. They're called priority overnight. And we do everything to see to it that they're done before 1030. As a result, they're referred to as P1. Everything else is called P2 for the remainder of the day. That's what ours are, too. That's why we call, I mean, P1 in our radio terms is priority one. So, hey, very cool, man. I appreciate it, David. Take care, guys. Take care. Thank you. We are late. Are we late or what? I party anytime. I'd be happy to. Steal all your stuff. Nobody's stealing anything. Bring home a cat. I don't want to stop talking about this. I'm so angry. 570-1053. I want you to call right now and give your opinion on if you take alcohol to a party and it goes unopened, undrank, can you take it home with you? Or is that just bad etiquette? 570-1053. You guys sound like whining little kids. This is The Mikey Show.

Thank you. Don't doubt the news, girl. Sean. I'm actually pissed off. I'm the token Boston guy on the shelf. That's right. Every show should happen. And Ashley. You make a compelling argument. I'm a compelling person. On Rock 105.3. Kenny Loggins? On. It is 7.13. California is suing 20 toy companies for selling toys with an unlawful quantity of lead. Congratulations to A-Rod. He won his third AL MVP. The question is, if you go to somebody's house for a party and you take alcohol with you and no one drinks it, can you take it back? Can you take it home with you? Sean, they both say, well, yeah. Yeah, as long as it's not specifically a gift to the host. Terrible. Which means that even if you go to the house,
and they open the door and they take it out of your hands, as long as you, Sky and Sean say, as long as you specifically don't go, this is for you, this is a gift, even if they take it from your hands and that's not said, you could take it home. It's not a gift. Aren't you guys embarrassed? Why? No one even notices. Oh, well the hosts will. They won't. I would absolutely notice. They got too much going on, they're too drunk anyways, whatever. See, I think that's what it's about. Both Sean and Sky go, They aren't going to notice. Plus, there's going to be so much crap left over. It's almost like doing them a favor. No, it isn't. Are they really going to drink everything that's left over and eat everything that's left over? Listen, and what I said before is, if that's the case, there's other stuff that hasn't been open. Why don't you guys just go shopping? Well, no, no, because that's taking other people's things. That's different.
$2.49 bag of Doritos means that much to you? No, does it mean that much to you? Yeah, in terms of like etiquette and replacing all the food that I already bought. Yeah, it would be kind of cool. It would be nice. P1 Brian. Yes, this is P1 Brian. Good morning, Microsoft. What's up, dude? I have to actually call on one important factor is how well do you know the host? Because if it's like a close boy... I'm going to opt to leave it all there because I know I'm going to be back there that same night. To Sean and Sky, it don't matter. It doesn't matter? Not really. It matters to me. And it's the opposite of what this guy's saying. If it's someone I'm tight with, I'm definitely taking it. But if it's a stranger, I'm like, oh, they may judge me. They don't really know me. So then you know it's bad. Well, I know that some people are uptight. You got her. Come on. You just nailed it. No, I know that there's opinions on both sides. I know what I think, but I know that some uptight people have issues with it. A, Eddie hit it with that. B, he hit it. B, it was also hit upon when you said, they're not going to notice. They're drunk. Right. So you're doing something sneaky. You know you're doing something sneaky. Yep.
No, I know that some people have issue with it. I know personally where I stand on it and my feelings, but obviously there's people on the other side of the issue. P1NATO, what do you say? I say that regardless of what you take to the party, all you should expect to bring home is either a good memory and hopefully a date. So you're saying leave the stuff you bring? Absolutely. Gotcha. But what, I mean, like... I don't understand what's so awful. It's bad. Poor etiquette. Poor etiquette. But how is it poor etiquette? Hang on just a second. Hang on just a second, P1 Joseph. Can you hang on a minute? Yeah. When you go to somebody's house for a party and you bring something, you are basically giving that to the host and saying, you know what? Well, it's according to etiquette, Skye. Yeah. And you say, here you go. This is for the party. You know, enjoy. And it's up to the host whether or not they share that food with everybody else. He's throwing the party. You just said it's for the party. If I'm having a fancy party and you bring over a six-pack of Budweiser, I may not want to serve Budweiser. So I appreciate that, but it may not even be served. It's up to the party host. If you don't serve it, I'll take it. Thank you. Ashley, what do you think?
I think it really depends on the situation and what you bring. If you bring a bag of chips, I think it is very cheap for you to just take the bag of chips back at the end of the night. Leave that there. But if you really put some effort into a homemade cake or something, and you bring it over, and nobody touches it, and there's tons of other stuff there. Sounds like that's happened before. You know what that sounds like to me? You know what that sounds like to me? Nobody wants it. Sounds like hurt feelings. Honestly, it sounds like hurt feelings. Or even like a nice bottle of Cavastier. I mean, anything that's like really nice. Can we go back to your homemade thing? The baked goods. Let's go back to the homemade song. What about them? If nobody touches them, I believe that the sentiment is, well, fine, guys. If you don't want to touch that cake, then I'll just take it back with me. That's not what I'm saying. And in that case, I say, that's fine. You're a bastard. No, no, no. That's not cool. That's not cool. That's not what I'm saying. It could be anything. It could be a bottle of Cristal as opposed to a bottle of Boone Farm. Cristal. Who is that guy? Or like, you know, it's like if you bring something really expensive that could be pricey to a party and no one touches it, I could totally understand that you would want to take it back.
But if you're bringing over a six-pack of Budweiser... Chris Stahl, party of three, your table is ready. Chris Stahl, party of three, your table is ready. Frankie! What do you mean? I know what you mean. P1 Ox. I say P1 Ox. P1 Joseph. Yeah. Joseph, go ahead. You're on the air. If you're the last man standing and, like, everybody's just tanked and passed out. and nobody drank your beer, go ahead and take it. Bring it back next time or invite everybody over the years. But you don't see that as tacky, Joseph? If it's your flavored beer and everybody else is drinking Miller and you're drinking Bud, take it, but just offer for the next one. Let me ask you something. What would it take for it to be tacky to you? Because I want to see in your world, what's tacky? This clearly isn't.
Like, I brought Bud. Everybody else is drinking Miller Lite. A mellow party, everybody's just casually drinking. Leave it, because... Right, right, right. But, again, what... But, Joseph, Joseph, again, what would you find tacky? Like, what would it take for it to be tacky to you? I'm trying to find your tacky point. I don't know if I have one. Sounds like it. I have one. He says he doesn't know. There is none. Mike, there's no tacky point. I don't have one. For him, there isn't. Well, I'm sure if I mentioned it, he'd agree. Let's see. Okay, Joseph, so would you agree it would be tacky if you took somebody else's beer home? If I took somebody else's beer? Right. All right, that would be tacky. Well, now you're a thief. Yeah. Now you're just a thief. But Eddie's been equating the two all morning. Look at Rob smiling and laughing, and they're like, yeah, I've done that before. Really? We were all young at one point. Oh, boy. But you did that last week. Yeah, by young, I mean the week younger than I am now. Oh, my God. Thank you very much, Joseph. Wow. P1 Ox. Hey, Mikey, it's Ox. Go ahead. Hey, man, you know what?
If you, like, bring the beer and you, like, have it in your hands and they see you bring it in, you don't, like, take it back when you leave for any reason. Exactly. That is correct. You know what? I wouldn't see that that would be any issue if you, like, brought it in and then took it back. But you need to ask first. You know, you're like, hey, nobody drank my beer. Well, wait a second. Wait a second. You're right. You're right. You could do that. But I think that the question is tacky. And especially if you ask somebody that has etiquette, their answer is going to be, sure. What's the host going to say? No. No, you can't. I'm sorry. I agree with you, Mikey. I agree with that. I definitely agree with that. You know what I'm saying? The question is tacky. But, like, if you bring it and nobody drinks it, you don't just take it with you when you leave. I mean, you're not bringing the party back to your house with the beer that you brought over there to leave for them. It's a gift. I feel once you step foot into my house at my party and you are donating beer, food, whatever, it is no longer yours. It ceases to be yours. It is now mine. I agree with that 100%. I totally disagree with that 100%. I had this happen to me and it was the worst case scenario possible. One of my friends came over and it was like closing time at the bars so he decided to pick up all the beer for the after party I was having.
Get back to my house, and there's like two cases of beer. Two 24-packs. That's a lot of beer. He bought it all but said, don't worry, I'm going to supply it. There was a bunch of people going back to my house, so everything was cool. How many people? I'd say about 10. 10 to 12 people. And one guy says, I'm buying. He said, I'm buying. I'm going to take care of it. I stopped with him. So everybody else... Essentially just went back to my place, thought it was taken care of. You know, he offered the gesture, so I'm not going to complain with that. Get back to the house, puts the beer in the fridge for maybe five minutes, decides that he's too drunk and is going to go home. Brings all the beer with him and didn't say anything to anyone. Just slipped out of the house with the beer. And next thing you know, everybody's kind of looking for him and looking for the beer. And it left us high and dry. Well, that's like... That is the worst case scenario. That's tacky to me. A little bit. He still has a right to that beer, though. Sean? Yeah, he does. Come on, though, dude. He has a right to it, but you've got to admit that's the rudest. You're just a jerk now. That's the rudest. You've ruined everybody's time. You've ruined everybody's time. And you offered. Rudest. You offered. You offered. Yeah. It may be rude. Oh, boy. Here we go.
But I don't think it's wrong. It's just rude. It absolutely is wrong. I don't think so. P1 Davey is on the line. And you're my favorite episode of the Brady Bunch when you kissed Jan. Or no, it was actually Marsha. And do you remember when Davey came over and gave Marsha the kiss? And I think she said she would never wash her cheek. And she still hasn't to this day. She's got staph infection. Davey, what's going on? What's up? If it's BYOB, it's L-W-Y-O-B. Bring your own beer, leave with your own beer. It's just like a potluck. If you bring your food, you bring it back with you because you're not going to leave your dish there because you know you're never going to get the dish back. Yeah, I said it. I think BYOB is a different story. BYOB implies... Now, if you have to pay to get into the party and then you leave with the beer, that's untaxful because you already paid to get in.
Well said. But you're paying for your own beer. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You're carrying your 12-pack around with you, drinking out of your 12-pack. If you pay to get into the party, and maybe I just don't realize, but do you pay to get into parties you bring your own beer to? No. That's the reason you're paying. That's the reason you're paying. Exactly. So if you were to take beer from a party that you paid to get into, that would be untaxed. Oh, yeah. Well, that'd be thievery. That'd be Boston Rock. It'd be Boston Rock. I hate agreeing with Skye, but at this particular moment, I'm going to go ahead and agree with Skye. Wow. Well, wait a second. Wait, wait, wait. We're hanging out on Saturday. Hang on a minute here, P1 Davey. Now, you say you agree with Sky, but you agree with Sky on BYOB, which even I agree with Sky on BYOB. What I want to know if you agree with Sky and Sean on is if it's not BYOB. It's just somebody says they're having a party. They want you to come over. You're invited. and you decide to bring beer, would you take it with you when you left? Of course. Oh, that's so... Why not? Because if you go to a little get-together, it ends early. And then when you're a little bit buzzed up, you want to go to the next party.
Well, if you're buzzed up, you're tacky. Let's hit the next party, bro. You're tacky. Yeah, just go drive with my beer. With tacky buzzard. You drive, man. Buzzy, McBuzz. After 2 a.m., you can't buy any more alcohol. Duh. So you go to the fridge, and you grab what's in there, and you go to the next house, and you finish the party off. Yeah, bro. There you go. Rage in. Eddie, for the record, it was Desi Arnaz Jr. that kissed her cheek. That was? Oh. It wasn't Davy Jones? No. Okay. Wow, Mike. Did Davy Jones ever do anything? Yeah, she wanted Davy Jones, I believe, to play her prom. I have an announcement to make. This is going to be awesome. I already know. You know what it is. Well, I feel like I'm reading your mind right now. Of course, and you are. You are. I was so wrong. I was so wrong about the chorus thing. Not so wrong. Now, I'll even go a step further. I was not expecting that. I'm in shock right now. This guy could read my mind. Yeah, I knew that's where he was going. It tucked the air out of me. I didn't even see that coming. Well, we should talk about it. Yeah. You know, when we talked about it yesterday, I said I thought those Coors Light, I was 100% convinced. I kind of want to hug you. I was 150% convinced that the Coors Light commercials were recreated press conferences. Now, I got to be honest with you, Eddie. If I'm being honest, I have to be honest. Oh, no. When you brought up the Photoshopping CGI thing,
I realized it, and I was so humiliated, I couldn't even admit it. I was so embarrassed. Because I thought to myself, this is what I thought to myself. I went, am I like five years old? Like, I'm five years old. I didn't even get that it was CGI. And at that moment, I realized I went, I'm humiliated. And what was even more humiliating about it was the fact that I was so snotty. Like, I was so arrogant. Like, please. You guys don't even, like, hello. How could you not figure it out? And when it hit me, I was like, oh, boy, this is embarrassing. It was so embarrassing. What an admission. Wow. Congratulations. Thank you. I am lame. You are not. Now, I don't know how I feel about this story. First of all, there's a couple of things going on that we need to mention. Michael Vick surrendered early. So he's going to jail. He's just going to go to jail. It's weird. I mean, he's not scheduled to be sentenced until December 10th. But he's like, well, I want to start now. Let's get this over with. Because he knows he's doing time. So I think he's hoping it's going to be time served.
when the sentencing comes around and he'll be done. But, man, if he gets a year, then I guess he gets an early jump on it. Beats the crowds. It probably also looks really good to the judge. You know what I mean? Maybe the judge will be more lenient on him because, hey, this guy gets it. He knows he's got a take. I think, though, that Eddie has a point. Especially this time of year, when jails get real crowded, you just want to beat the rush. You don't want to be a part of that. My Friday's coming up. Well, that's a shopping day. It's actually a shopping day. Monday Night Football last night. The Broncos beat the Titans 34-20. Which would normally be a who cares. But because of our awesome San Diego Chargers awesome record, they are now in a first place tie with the crappy Denver Broncos. Oh my goodness. Both 5-5. A-Rod won his third ALM. MVP, almost unanimous. Let's talk about that for a second. A-Rod had one of the most amazing years in the history of baseball. Really? Oh, yeah. He led the league in home runs, in RBIs, and runs scored, which is unheard of. It's almost the triple crown. The triple crown is RBIs, home runs, and batting average. But, I mean, runs scored is pretty impressive, too.
You know, who had a better year than that in baseball? I'm not even talking about the AL, in baseball. Well, two of these writers, probably these fat, ugly, unathletic writers that get to vote for this, give two first place votes to Maglio Ordonez of the Tigers. We had an okay season. Not worthy of two first place votes. Especially in the face of what A-Rod did this year. And do you think... that that's motivated by these writers going, I don't like A-Rod. A hundred percent. Really? Yeah. If Rob were a baseball writer, he would never give his vote to A-Rod. Never. Great point. Wouldn't get my vote. But that's not fair, B-Rod. Oh, well. Cry me a river. I'll break out your little tiny violin. So the writer, I don't know this for a fact, but I'm guessing the writer from Detroit. Voted for Maglio and the writer from Boston. Oh, boy. He's probably right. Which is a joke. Who cares? It's not like I'm a big A-Rod fan, but God. He still won it. Yeah, but dude, he should have been unanimous by far. Oh, well, I'm sorry he wasn't unanimous. Okay. Here we go. Unbelievable. Thanks to Tom Brady, I won in one of my fantasy football leagues because I was getting slaughtered. Tom Brady.
45 points. Oh, my God. I'll tell you what. It's amazing what those Patriots will do against mediocre teams. It really is amazing. You mean run up the score? Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, Mike Tyson beat up Martina Navratilova in a knockout punch yesterday. Granted, he illegally taped her workouts. But you know what? He beat her up. Knocked her out. He was so bitter. He knocked her out. 10-0, baby. Mike Tyson knocked out Martina Navratilova. And first round, too. Boom. She went right out. Nice work. That's right. And then punched her when she was on the ground. That's right. What a tough guy. When you get the ball, you're supposed to score, right? I'm sorry we can do that. Every time, Mike. You know, this story fascinates me. I mean, fascinates me. I know how the Thanksgiving custody is working out for Brittany and Kayfed. And that fascinates me. Because when you think about it, yeah, she may be all drugged out. She may be all wacky. Her face is all messed up from lip injections and red eyes from drugs. But guess what?
She's still, it's Thanksgiving and she's the mom and any court goes, oh, you got to do something about it. So wait till you hear what they've worked out. And by the way, she's hired a private investigator to follow KFED around. I'll tell you why. I'll tell you why that too. Next. by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Slows again from Waring to the 805 freeway heading in the Mission Valley. On the King Freeway, westbound 94, not too bad at all. Just a minor delay into downtown right now. Coming up over to the south bay, you're looking pretty good in this 805 northbound. You will find some traffic, though, in North Park briefly. Once you get into Kearney Mesa, though, it backs up from the 163, heading up over the 52. Southbound 15, that's pretty tough out of Escondido this morning. Slow and go off the 78th down to Villarancho Parkway from an accident clearing there. A lot of fog here along the 15th, so be careful. You've got more slow traffic through Rancho Bonanno and now slows again from Carmel Mountain Road down towards Poway Road. And the coaster ride has fog here as well on Southbound 5, backed up from Lucadia Boulevard into Solana Beach. And then watch for an accident turning near the 56th in Carmel Valley. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Where white slavery is alive and well at Skye's Estate. You mean my white manservant, Ramsey? Shut up.
Yes, uh... He's not legitimate. Ramsey, uh... Oh, please, Miss Sky. Yes, there's your... I love burgundy tri-tips. You do? Please let me have it, not out of the garbage can. The Mikey Show. Featuring Sky and a white Ramsey. Ah! Oh! Did that hurt? Yes. Rock 105.3. I'm so humiliated that I find these songs catchy. The paper bags on. La, la, la, la. Do you think they send royalty checks to Blink-182, like all these bands? They should. They should. Like, hey, thank you for starting a sound that 900 of us do. Kind of be a cool feeling for the guys in Blink-182 to be like, yeah, that? Like, all those? Yeah, it was us. We did that. It's 7.40. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are suing Showtime over their show Californication. Everyone's favorite bipolar boxer, Mike Tyson,
Sentenced to one day in jail and three years probation for his DUI and cocaine possession charge. Oh, wow. This guy said that a bee pooped on her yesterday. Oh, boy. How many times with this? Well, I've never been pooped on. Oh, it just poops on your car? Everything. She claims that... At her house, there's bee poop everywhere. Come to my house. It is crazy. All over the sidewalk, all over the driveway, all over the house, all over every window. It's everywhere. It looks like my house is speckled. Are you sure it's bee poop? Yeah. And then yesterday, I was walking in from getting the mail, and all of a sudden, I felt a little wet spot on my face, right on my cheek, and I wiped it away. Bee poop. Come to my house. It is crazy. I'll be right over. The mess these guys make. It's a strange story. I didn't know. I had no. Dude, you guys, as soon as you come over to my house and see this, you'll be like, we're sorry. We have no idea. Well, I just. It's an issue. Like we now have to go buy a pressure washer just to deal with this issue. Well, I have one. I'll loan it to you. I haven't even opened it. Can we buy it from you? No, no, no, no. Because we need to keep it because we're going to have to use it like on every other week. Oh.
Because I wanted one real bad. My dad got me one for my birthday and I just haven't opened it yet because I've been too lazy. I don't know. I want it to get it working out. Yeah, we got to do something. I believe that you've got little speckles. I just, something. And me goes, is that really bee poop? Like, that just sounds like an overreaction. You come over today, and then you'll be like, I'm sorry. Like, do you see little bees squatting in a whole deal? Like, how do you know that it's... There are bees everywhere. Oh, there's bees everywhere. Toilet paper all over? Yeah. Like, are you finding little tiny little things of TP everywhere? No, like, if you look at the windows... Little empty rolls everywhere. Little tiny miniature cardboard rolls, like, littering the driveway. There are so many bees in my area that, like, you see them on every window. Put a sign up. They're just sitting there. And then at nighttime when they're coming back to go home for the night, it's like a swarm. Did you hear what Mike said? Yeah, put a sign that says no dumping. I wish they knew how to read. Britney Spears has a private investigator following around Kevin Federline, her ex-husband. Why?
What is she going to find? It shouldn't be the other way around. Of course. But he knows he doesn't have to. The private investors are called the paparazzi. Well, basically, Britney thinks that the courts are being too hard on her and that K-Fed is getting away with murder because K-Fed's known to be kind of a pothead and to enjoy beer and what have you. And so... I know it. I'm trying to figure it out. Because Ashley keeps IMing me that my levels are too hot. So I pulled it down. I pulled it... Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was me. It was me that's the problem. Get right up on it. Okay, okay. Get right up on it. Okay, cool. So anyway, so yeah, so K-Fed's kind of known to be a pothead, and also Brittany claims that he would drink around the children and stuff, and so she feels that the courts are being way too harsh on her, and she's not the only one who has vices in this relationship, and K-Fed's not an angel, so she has allegedly hired a private investigator to try and get evidence of K-Fed and his pot smoking and his drinking. Well, you know what? Like, listen, I don't, there's no doubt about it. He probably isn't. I mean, Rebecca and I had this conversation the other night. But I said, you got to give the guy props. He's appearing to be the better of the two parents. Right. And she's like, no props. That guy, he's still. I love weed. He's just as bad while he's out there partying. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I'm like, hey. Now, I mean, I don't think you should be smoking pot around your kids. No, definitely.
I don't think you should be drinking when your kids are with you, you know, like getting drunk. But, you know, she was like, well, you know, he's doing bad stuff too. Wouldn't an orangutan be a better parent than Brittany? Pretty much. Seriously, like the one in Every Which Way But Lose? Again, we need a camera in here. And he's just imitating the orangutan. Thank you. P1 Spider-Man is wondering why Sky finds it necessary to make up stories. Obviously, the bee poop is just made up, is what he's saying. Right, Spider-Man? Spider-Man? Yeah. Who gets pooped on by a bee? Come to my house, Spider-Man. Come to my house. Are you inviting him? Yes, I am inviting you. We will have lunch, and then you will come over, and I will show you what the bees do to my house. I don't like him. I didn't say we were going to have ham. I just said lunch. Skye, do you like ham? I like ham. Shut up. I like ham. And Spider-Man, you're going to have to pay for the lunch. We all know that. That is good. Whatever. Come get some ham. So what's the Thanksgiving custody deal? Who gets who? Okay, so Brittany will get the boys for dinner on Wednesday night.
tomorrow night. Brutal. And then she also gets visitation time Thursday morning, Thanksgiving morning with the boys, but K-Fed gets the boys for Thanksgiving dinner and Thanksgiving, you know, that night. Well, isn't she going over to Billy Ray Cyrus? Yeah. And you want to know something like probably, she probably doesn't care. She probably won't even see them on Thanksgiving. Yeah, like on Wednesday. Well, on Wednesday, she'll be like, oh, I totally forgot, y'all. Yeah, well, all I got is a hungry meal. Who cares? I got a hungry man. Hungry man. Sorry. I got a hungry man turkey. Jay, didn't you like Salisbury? I can't figure the microwave out. That's metal, Brittany. Don't put that in there. It's really bad for the microwave. Zeth fell asleep at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and woke up this morning. Yesterday. He fell asleep at 2 in the afternoon. Yes! Christ, it is boy blunder. What's going on? What is up with that, with the sleeping Seth? I don't know. A week. You what? It happens at least once a week. I'll fall asleep at like two or three in the afternoon and sleep all the way through. I don't know. It's not good. I don't think you should do that. Exhausted from trying to kick the football? Just keeps pulling it out, man. What do you want from me? Speaking of sleep, Ashley does this thing where she wakes up, she says, at like the same exact time every day.
Every morning at 2 in the morning, right? Yeah, it's so weird. Like, I will go to bed every night at the same time between 8 and 9 p.m. And I wake up every single night right around 2 a.m. Like, last night I woke up at 1.57 a.m. The night before that, 1.50. The night before that, 2.02. Because I've been, like, making mental notes ever since I told you guys. Because it's weird. And then some nights I'll go right back to sleep. But other nights, like last night, I tossed and turned. Till 3 a.m. Tossed and turned, like I cannot fall back asleep. Sometimes it's for an hour, hour and a half. Sometimes I'll even just get up for work. Like I'll just, by like 3.30, I'll just get up and get ready for work. Are you taking your, what do you call it, medicine? Yeah, but could be part of it. Did you tell your doc about that? I think it might be. Yeah, I told him. She said that, didn't you also say you like always wake up to the same song? Every, I would almost say like. 70% of the time, because I fell asleep listening to Kixi, 96.5, you know, to kind of cool me down and go to sleep. Shut up! To cool you down? To cool you down. It's a cool down period. To wind down, I mean. To wind down. With a Kixi. Yeah. So I have like a very set routine. So I put on, go to sleep, and I swear, 70% of the time when I wake up at 2 a.m.,
Cause we're waiting, waiting on the world to change. That song is on and I feel like it's a sign from God. Like I feel like I'm supposed to listen to the words to the song and maybe make a change in this world. You know what? I was thinking that, and I was also thinking that they have a scheduling problem over there, Kixi. It's a bad music director. It could either be a sign from God, or it's time to fire their music director. It could be a lazy music director. Bad rotation, bro. I think this song is speaking to me. I think I'm supposed to be doing something. What do you think you should be doing? I don't know. I really feel like I was put on this earth for a purpose, a positive purpose, and I just haven't... found it yet. Well, you've tried some stuff. You tried taking care of dogs. You tried teaching blind dogs to be led around by sighting. Why are you being offensive right now? I'm not being offensive. You know damn well what I did. You know damn well. She taught people to care for blind dogs. Not at all. She taught people how to take care of the blind dogs.
The blind dog is a hard thing to take care of. They don't know where the doggy door is. First of all, it's people in wheelchairs. She taught people in wheelchairs to care for blind dogs. She taught dogs in wheelchairs to take care of blind people. She took care of wheelchair dogs that took care of the blind people. Dogs are in the wheelchair. When you see those little doggies. In that chair going up those ramps at the restaurants, it just breaks your heart. It does. Terrible. Especially when they're those little purse doggies. You go, aw, look at that little chihuahua in that miniature little wheelchair. Where did they get that little wheelchair? Never seen that. And then you look at the people that Ashley trained that are taking them up that ramp and you go, they got a heart of gold. For the people in the wheelchair. I'd like to meet their trainer. That's right. I'd like to meet their trainer. One of my dogs is with... The retired dean of UCSD right now. Is that right? And the dog was one of those seeing eye dogs, right? Seeing eye is for the blind. CCI is for wheelchairs. I apologize. CSI is a whole other thing. That's a whole other story. She trained CSI dogs? Yeah, that's what she said. No, no, no, no. They sniff out cadavers and stuff like that. That's crazy. Ash, why wasn't that your purpose? That was a good purpose.
That was a good purpose. No, I know, but I'm not doing that right. I mean, I did that up until about two years ago, and then I gave it up. You've kind of been there, done that. Well, no, I gave it up because I live in a condo now. It's not dog savvy. Savvy? Well said. The condo, you guys, it isn't dog savvy. What she's trying to say is... Maybe she can train the condo. No. No, no, no. Is it in a wheelchair? That's so stupid. Yeah, that's so stupid. That is so stupid. P1 Blaze is on the line. Hey, everybody. How's it going? Good. And I get up every single morning between 3 and 3.11. Why do people do this? Why do people do this? A lot of people do it. Yeah. Hey, Sean. What? Your mom's hot, dude. Oh, wow. I mean, he's right, but I don't know where he would say that. I came out of left field. There's no reason to say that right at this point. I did not see that coming. There were sighted dogs that were like, I didn't see that coming. And those dogs can see. All the dogs can see. Real quick, Sean, Thanksgiving plans this year? You haven't really said what you're doing. Broseph? Hanging out with anybody in particular? Yeah, what are your Thanksgiving plans, Sean? Just hanging out with family. Oh, really? Family? Yeah.
Who we got? Just your wife's family or any of your family? I mean... Who's on the guest list? Who we got this year? I'm not doing that. Old Aunt Fran? Who we got? Old Aunt Fran. Who's coming over? I don't know. I don't know who's coming over. Well, I don't know who's coming over. Is Old Aunt Fran coming over? You got the mom coming over, Sean? Well, is your mom and dad coming over, Sean? Anybody in town? Good question, Mike. You can be silent all morning long if you'd like, but we want to know the answer to questions. After Aunt Fran, no. You're not getting any. You've got a lot of ants. We love Aunt Fran. Ashley's shaking her head like, I don't know what's wrong with him. Why is he so upset? I don't know. It's a legitimate question. Not legitimate. I know what you're doing.
Is that legitimate to ask if your mom and dad are going to... Hang on, I just realized. I think the reason that he's being so sensitive is because Eddie has pointed out on a few occasions that Sean's mother... Well, for those of you that are new listening to the show, Sean's mother... We're a new listener, Sean. Sean's mother had Sean... I don't even know where he's going with this. Eddie? Sean's mother had Sean when she was very young. Like three. Eddie? Eddie? How old was she, Sean? Sean? How old was she? How old was your mom? Miracle baby. No, come on. Don't do it. She was about 16 or something. So what Eddie is saying is that she is very young now. She's not. She's a very young woman. I'm saying that?
Eddie says, well, what he says is that Sean's mother is very attractive. She's a gorgeous lady. I don't know that I'm saying anything insulting. It looks more like Sean's sister than Sean's mother. That is 100% correct. Sean's mom looks way more like his sister than his mother, and we've all met her, and she's a very, very pretty lady. She's a fox. She's pretty. Wow. But anyway, so. Thanksgiving plans, Sean? What you got? Oh. Gross. Yeah, it's like, uh, this is the Mikey Show. You've given everyone a great laugh and a great way to start my day, so we thank you. Thank you. Welcome back to the show. It's a Mikey show. And, um, all right, I told all the Britney stuff, right? So I think it's time to do something now. Can we do, are you guys okay with doing a little something we like to call? I don't like it. When are we prepared? Oh, I just want to know if you're prepared. I'm always prepared. Uh, Do we have an opening for I Don't Like It When or do we just start doing it? I believe we have some music. It's beautiful. Oh my goodness, that's just moving. Gorgeous. For goodness sake, I already feel different. It's healing. Eddie just blew Sky a Kiss. Be cool, Eddie. Well, because today is I Don't Like It When and for the first time it's between Sky and Eddie. And...
If you've never heard, well, the reason this guy that he's been waiting for is because it's cleansing. Well, we have a very tumultuous relationship. And so, you know, I feel like this is going to help us figure each other out. Okay, lay down the ground rules, Mike, because I don't want this getting out of control. No problem. I don't like it when is, well, it's a technique used by psychologists to get couples to come back together. and I decided that we would use it here on the show with a show member since we're all best friends. We have seven people on the show. We're all best friends, and we're very dysfunctional. We're a very, very dysfunctional show, group of friends, family, and so from time to time, we do this thing called I Don't Like It When, and I'll be honest with you. Right now, something dysfunctional is happening. Eddie looked into the studio across from us where Ashley is and wondered, what is she up to? She's not paying attention, and she's doing some sort of work, and I wish she would check back in. Just during the show. Yeah, you know. And so, but that's for another time. That'll be for... I have some for her, too. No, no, Eddie. This is right now. Okay, okay. Right now, it's Sky and Eddie are going to do... I don't like him. Now, what they do is they take turns. They take turns. Hang on. Let him lay down the rules.
I feel like Michael Vick, and I'm just trying to control you right now, and you are ready. Let me loose. Don't let him loose, Mike. I taste blood. Tell him the rules. The idea is, Eddie, that this is a healing process, and what you do is you tell each other, Sky, don't like it when, and then you say what it is that they do that you don't like. Right. And the other person is allowed when you're done to explain. Maybe there's a reason that they were doing this. And they're going to say thank you, right? Oh, they have to say thank you. That is a part of the process. They have to say thank you. And after you say thank you, you are allowed to explain that particular behavior. It doesn't mean that they have to accept it. It means it gives context to maybe why you're doing it. And then you have healing. Yeah. That's awesome. Eddie, we'll start with you. Okay. Sky. Oh, my heart just dropped.
I don't like it when you won't try normal foods and act like we're putting poison in front of you and pretend to regurgitate and act like a... She does that. Act like a what? No, don't answer that. Drama mama. She does. She acts like a drama mama. Name Colin. I don't like it when... I say, listen, there has to be a mediator. I'm trying to mediate. I don't think I said anything unfair. Skye. Thank you, Eddie. You're welcome. Get him, Skye! No, no, no. You can explain yourself. You can explain. Well, it's interesting, Mike, because I don't like it when... Oh, a rebuttal. Oh, no. Eddie tries to force me to eat things just because he likes them. That means the rest of the world must like them. It's normal food. Hey. I'm sorry. That's not what you're supposed to say. Thank you. It's normal food. Uh-oh. For you. For the world. For you.
Too creamy? Too creamy? She just said during the break, she doesn't like melted cheese. Did she say thank you? Yes, she did. Mike, tell her what she said during the break about the cheese. Hey, you're not allowed to get Mike in the middle of it. I'm just going to explain what happened. That's all. Okay, can't take sides. Thank you. Some community nachos were ordered this morning for all of us fatties. And the nachos came from a taco shop and the nachos had shredded cheese on top. And Eddie looked at it and he goes, that don't look right. And Skye goes, well, it's nachos. And I go, well, why is the cheese not melted? And Skye goes, I prefer it that way. And Eddie goes, look it, even Ashley's mouth just dropped open. Like, that's not right. And so Eddie said, what are you talking about? And Skye said, don't like it creamy. Well, she said, melted cheese is harder to digest. So you asked for it to not be melted? No, it just came. I was lucky enough that it just came. She was lucky enough that it came that way.
And she believes that if it's melted, that her stomach will differentiate between the melted cheese and just the DNA changes. Yes. The molecules, the chemicals. Right. Sean gets it. The chemical composition changes. Sure. Right. Yeah. It's totally changed. Like molecules have now changed. Yes. And now it's not cheese anymore. Right. Now it's beef. No, it's just a different. Anyway. My turn. Eddie, it's your turn. Skye, I don't like it when you wear clothes that were free from the station that are not cool, even though you claim otherwise. Case in point, a 51st Dates shirt in 2007 is lame. Skye, what do you say? Thank you, Eddie. I find it strange coming from the guy who wears the Chewbacca playing chess shirt. That's cool. And I do think my clothes are cool just as you think yours are cool. So nothing wrong here. Yours is free swag. Nobody wants that crap. I want people to see Ashley's face right now because her face is like... I think it is. I love it. Have you seen it? So thank you for your comments, but I will not change on that. Thank you. Go ahead, Skye.
Eddie. You can't be taking sides, Ashley. Encouraging her. Eddie? It's alright, Eddie. You're two to nothing right now. Wait a minute. There's no scoring here. I thought I was scoring this. No, Rob. Every time we do this exercise, I tell you, don't keep scoring. I'm the guy that keeps the points on this. Eddie's up two nothing. Okay, well, on that note, Eddie... I don't like it when you and Rob wrestle around like you're in second grade. We're adults. We're at work. It's not appropriate. Eddie, what do you say? He's looking at her right now like, are you kidding me? Eddie, what do you say? Thank you. Adults do wrestle around in MMA fights all the time. And Rob is training to be MMA and I'm helping him train. And I appreciate it. But they do it for money. He's training. He has a trainer. Eddie, go ahead. Sky. I don't like it when you won't admit when you're wrong.
Even in the face of overwhelming evidence. Sky immediately looked up at the television when he said that. Like, what's going on over here? What's on the TV right now? The term dead to rights is often said and you still won't give. I can't wait to hear what... Sky, what do you say? I have no problem. My bad. Unbelievable. I was wrong right there. Thank you, Eddie. Wow. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. I'm just rarely wrong. Did we get a clean cut of that? Almost. Did we get a clean? I don't think it could in a big thing. That was gorgeous. Eddie, I don't like it when you tell me I smell like onions. I don't smell like onions. I've never smelled like onions. And I don't appreciate you telling everyone that I do smell like onions. The song. The song. Well, there's a song that goes with it. You don't like this song. First of all, thank you.
You're right. You're right. You don't smell of onions. You reek of onions. You reek of onions. It's coming out of your pores. It's like you bathe in them. Sky. I don't like it when you claim to be a team with your husband even though it's clear you rule the roost. Thank you, Eddie. Even though what you said is completely inaccurate. I am a team with my hubby, and he would tell you the same. Or else. I don't like it when you put things like ketchup packets on my head while I'm trying to do commercials. It's extremely unprofessional. That is really mean. It's not going to help her if you immediately start to laugh. You can't laugh. I'm trying to work, and he's putting crap on my head. And it's mean, Eddie. Thank you.
For the laugh. She just scored a point for Eddie on that one. There's no score. Skye, I don't like it when you get a splinter and act like you're dying and have to go home. I eat, sunburn, period, etc. Skye, what do you say? The other one, Rob? Thank you, Eddie. I've never gone home from a splinter. I went home once when I was vomiting all over the station and had my period, as well as one time with a second-degree sunburn. Eddie is stone-faced right now, staring at me, shaking his head. I guess he doesn't like the fact. How can we accept this? Come on, get him! How can we accept this? Guys, come on, you got it. It's not. I've clearly won. I've clearly won. I've clearly won. There's no score to the finish. It's about unanimous. I'm working it out. Eddie? don't like it when you have this OCD obsession with my lanyard and whether it's twisted or not. And while I'm in the middle of doing the news, you have to IM me to tell me that it's bothering you and I need to fix it. Ashley, quit pumping your fist. Yes! Good one! Thank you. And for the record, you don't really do the news. Not a point. There's no point. So guys,
I don't like it when you talk. That did not go. Do be continued. That didn't go. I got more. No. I think we went as far as we can go. I don't know what stupid is. The Mikey Show is on. Still got a pretty thick on some places, but the commute's not too bad. Kind of winding down here. You've got good-looking speeds on both the 5 and 805 northbound out of the South Bay. 805 is still backed up, though, in the teens here as you come up from the 163 up towards Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. Westbound 94, you're good to go all the way to downtown. The westbound 8 is also clear and easy out of La Mesa in the Mission Valley. No worries there.
Still finding some brake lights in the westbound 52 a little bit from the 125 to Mass Boulevard, and then you're on your way. South 15 is also looking better out of Escondido. Now tight from Auto Parkway to Vier Rancho. And then you've got some stuff off and on from Carmel Mountain Road down towards Poway Road. And the coast will rise not too bad on southbound 5. A little tight now from Sanofi Drive down towards Manchester. Don Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. They show friends, dude. Yeah. Show business. That's true. KIOZ San Diego's Rock. You were listening. to the Mikey Show. Christian looks like really good for me. Eddie. When have I ever been overconfident? Sky. Once I'm out on somebody, I'm out. Yeah. Sean. Hold on, you're making me sound like I'm crazy. Time out. Be Rizzle. Go me. Alright, that's right, go you. And Ashley. Um, I'm a laughy person. The Mikey Show's on. Oh, we are messed up in the head. Rock 105. 821. The president will do his annual pardoning fee today.
Michael Vick surrendered early to authorities and began serving his sentence. He wasn't scheduled to be sentenced until December 10th. It's Ashley Tisdale. Who is that? Is she from High School Musical? I think so. She's like one of those Disney teen boppers. Is she a Disney kid? Very popular. She's huge right now. Yeah. I have her posters all over my room. Who doesn't? Yeah, true. What kid doesn't? Let's see. Dear Mikey, wow, Sky and Eddie have quite the relationship. How do these two even stand to be in the same room together? Very unhealthy. Regards, Brittany and Kayfed. Even they're saying. Hey, Mikey, long time listener. Recently, I heard Ashley say that she does not like normal guys. I'd like to think I'm a little edgy. Maybe you could tell her I'm single and ready to mingle. Warmly, OJ Simpson. Perfect little edgy. P.S. What you doing at the courthouse with Boston Rob is my favorite bit. That was by P1 OJ Simpson. Throw that one away. Please. Mikey, question for Sean. Let's say he brings a six pack of Coors to a party. Plenty of other people brought the same exact beer. There is still say three.
Six packs of beer left at the end of the night. Does he take his or what he thinks is his back? Sean. Well, if I think it's mine, I'll take it. Well, how do you know? If there was that many six packs, how do you know that one's yours? Well, if I look at it and I can't tell, then, you know, I'm not going to take it. It's the same kind of beer. If I can tell in some way, if there's some distinguishing mark. You're not going to be able to tell. It's all the same brand. I understand that. And I'm saying that if I can't tell, I won't take it. But if I can, I will. Sean, when in doubt, bring it home. Right? No. No, not when in doubt, bring it home. Are you sure? I'm positive. I've heard that somewhere. Oh, come on. I mean, Sean would, but come on. I'm not unreasonable. Did you guys know that Chuck Norris is endorsing Mike Huckabee for president? You've heard me talk about this guy, Mike Huckabee. Um...
This ad is running in Iowa. Cut one. Policy message from Governor Mike Huckabee. My plan to secure the border? Two words. Chuck Norris. Mike Huckabee's a lifelong hunter who'll protect our Second Amendment rights. There's no chin behind Chuck Norris' beard. Only another fist. Mike Huckabee wants to put the IRS out of business. When Chuck Norris does a push-up, he isn't lifting himself up. He's pushing the earth down. Mike's a principled, authentic conservative. Chuck Norris doesn't endorse. He tells America how it's going to be. Mike Huckabee. I'm Mike Huckabee. And I approve this message. So do Chuck. Thank you, Mike. Chuck Norris approved. To deal with Mike Huckabee, he's the governor of Arkansas. He's turned the state around. And he's a conservative. He's running for president.
And I've read some of his stuff. It's very interesting. In about a million ways, he's my guy. And one of the things that they say about him is that he's extraordinarily funny. That he's just like gifted with this humor. And so anyway, there he was with this Chuck Norris commercial. The subject of this email is BYOB. If the host says take this stuff with you because we won't use it or drink it, it's... If not, still leave it. Like you said, once you get in the door, it's for everybody. So that's the only time you take it home is if the host... You guys understand that correctly? Yeah. That he's saying the only time you take it home is if the host says, take it with you because we're not going to drink it. I agree with that. Which, when I have parties at my place, I always say that. I don't want booze in the house. Sure. So I say, get the booze. Hey, guys, take all the alcohol you want. Because I'm a recovering alcoholic. I just don't want to have alcohol in the house.
So I always say, yeah, take it. And usually people are more than happy. I'll be happy to. To oblige. But that's not what Sean and Skye really are talking about. Terrible. They're saying if you go to a party and you bring something with you. We're not bad people. They're not bad people. They just have no tact. They're tasteless. Very much so. There's no tact. I taste good. This subject is beer talk. Mikey. Sean made it clear that it is a cultural thing. He said that it would be rude to take back your beer, but not wrong. Well, in the house I was raised in, being rude was wrong. I've experienced this before where an acquaintance brought over some Sam Adams Oktoberfest. And since we didn't finish the 12, he opened my fridge and started putting them back into the box to take them home. I'm Hispanic.
I'm married to a U.S. American. U.S. American? Nice. And what I have found is that U.S. Americans tend to think being rude to people is the norm. I have to agree with him. I was raised that disrespecting is probably the biggest no-no. Signed, Double Dipper. I think he's right. Thank you very much. Is that rude? My goodness. I agree with everything he said. He's a hypocrite. Nothing wrong with that. Kato June used to play for the Indianapolis Colts, plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers now, just got arrested on a DUI charge. Well, you know, Mike, you get a big victory, and it happens to be your birthday, too. You're going to go out and celebrate a little bit. Oh, no. I'm drunk. Get pulled over, you know, for a DUI charge, then guess it happened. Happened in Tampa? I think so, yeah. Donovan McNabb may not be playing against New England fantasy football players. Now, how would you like to be the Philadelphia Eagles?
You already have to play New England, and your quarterback may not play. That's going to be a fun time, huh? That's going to be a... Should be a good game. Be a ball. Let's flex that one. I'm sure Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots will take it easy. Well, yeah. They got a wounded opponent. He has a hurt ankle and a hurt thumb. So that's the deal with him. The Aztecs beat USD 69-64. They're 5-0 now. How about that? How about those guys? That's news to me. Well, there you go then. The Broncos beat the Titans 34-20. They're in a first place tie with the San Diego Chargers in the AFC West. Great ball club. Mikey, you should always take back what is yours. For instance, sports memorabilia. Needless to say, Sean and Sky are right. Signed.
OJ Simpson. Man, he is an email machine. Well, he listens online, I think. I better write again. I have thoughts on that topic. Type it, type it, type it. Hate crimes were up last year. Yeah, so let's see. It says that hate crimes went up 7.8%. last year from 2005. We hate you! Just under 8,000 hate crimes in the country. That's the president of a hate crime right there. So the majority of the crimes, over 50%. Can I ask a question? Yeah. Boston Rob is afraid to laugh openly on the air. Yeah, you can hear it. Holding it back. I don't know. That caught me off guard. He always holds back his laugh. I tell him, laugh, laugh. It's okay. Yeah, he won't. So the majority of the crimes, over 50%, were motivated by race. About 19%. About 19%. But is that funny?
No, but Mike said to laugh. Yeah, but you laugh at appropriate time. Oh, great. Now you're going to tell me what to laugh at. You're laughing at hate crimes right now. Right. Not appropriate. Fine. You guys send me an email what I'm supposed to laugh at. Just IM me then already. 19% were based on religion. That's not funny. And 15% based on sexual orientation. So I can't... That one do I laugh at? You tell me. Whatever. Rob. Never. Homemade cranberry sauce is the only way to go. Excuse me? I don't believe that anybody should eat cranberry sauce out of a can. Excuse me, sir. Hang on. That is offensive. How dare you make that comment? You can't say that. It's 2007, you guys. We don't have to. We're not living in the grandma days anymore. I prefer the can. Have you tried the can? Of course. I grew up in America. U.S. America. Oh. I grew up here. I had a grandmother. What do all grandmothers do? They open the can. They stick it on the little glass tray. And it's delicious. Wow, Mike. I can't believe you've said that.
Of course it's delicious, but it's not nearly as delicious as homemade cranberry sauce. With those weird chunks in there. Yeah. Who knows what. Right? And sometimes it tastes like orange or citrus. Yeah. Well, if you don't want it to taste like orange or citrus, don't put the orange zest. Keep that out. Yeah, but I prefer the canned taste. Here's what you do. It's perfect. I'm going to tell you how to do this. You take the frozen whole cranberries. You stick them in a saucepan. You add a lot of sugar. You put some cinnamon sticks in there. Ew. A little orange zest. This guy, he wants his cranberry sauce that tastes like cinnamon. Why do you want chunks of fruit in your sauce that goes on your meat? Why do you guys want... If you guys want that, why don't you just go to the grocery store and buy cranberry-flavored jelly? Seriously, or Jell-O. If it tastes the same, I can. Yeah, Jell-O. It's got to have those ridges. Yeah, the ridges are the bomb. Something about the ridges. What? 5701053, I want canned and homemade.
To represent. I get so mad when I go over to somebody's house. Like, they're hosting and they make the homemade. Are you kidding? I, one year, was at my folks and they only had the homemade stuff. I went to the store and bought a can specifically for myself so that I could have the can. No, you did not. Absolutely did. Way to go. Dedication, I like it. That stuff's been sitting in a can for who knows how long they packaged that last year. Oh, Rob, you're happy to get anything. No, my grandmother used to make... Homemade cranberry sauce. It's the best because it's so fresh. It tastes so good. And you can kind of put your own little zest into it. Yeah, those fresh frozen cranberries. You can get fresh ones, guys. They're pick fresh. And then they are instantly frozen. You put them into the saucepan. Oh, then why don't you use a frozen turkey while you're at it? People do. I don't. I don't. Hey, listen, if I could get the fresh cranberries, I'd get the fresh cranberries, but mostly all you can find is the frozen ones. I'll take freshies. Totally. And that's the thing is normally I prefer homemade, but there's something about the canned cranberry sauce, dude. It's delicious. You can't beat it. Awesome. Something about it. It's all canned. I know. I normally don't like canned stuff. You slice it and it stays in that weird shape. You can smear it all over everything.
You know, there's nothing like the nice taste of delicious sweet fruit and tin. Whatever. You don't get it. You don't taste the tin. It doesn't taste like tin. Now you're being dramatic. You don't get it. Taste a can. So yummy. You could just eat it by itself. Oh, yeah. I want a can right now. Yeah, yeah. Take a big bite out of it. I started some of my shopping yesterday and I bought three cans. Oh, yeah. Nice. Leftovers. The only kind I've ever had. Stock up. Dessert. The only kind I've ever had is a homemade and I wouldn't eat that stuff in the can because it looks like it tastes like cumin. You've never tasted it? You've never tasted it. You've never tasted dog food. You've never tasted dog food. You've never tasted dog food. You've kissed a dog but you've never tasted dog food. Thank you. I'm out. That doesn't make sense. That was just mean. That was unnecessary roughness. Unnecessary roughness. On the board and on the river. I can't give it to her. I can't give it to her. That was a little rough. You shot him in the face. That was awesome. That was a little rough. Ouch. So impressed. Penalty. So impressed by you. I just don't understand your logic. That's all I'm saying. Worst part is she got me there. We can't get one person on the phone that likes homemade. Oh, feel bad.
Who would? I mean, this isn't the Iraq. I mean, we have a choice here. We're not terrorists. This is US America. Yeah. I would think this would be like an equal debate. What is this, Nazi Germany? I would think this would be an equal debate. What is this, Nazi Germany? They would probably force you to eat that homemade garbage. Right? But here we got a choice. The two words don't even go together. It's garbage. It is garbage. Homemade is... If I put that in my mouth, I'd spit it right back in your face. Wow. Come on, canned stuff is exactly what it says. It's in a can. What do you want in a can? What? Nothing tastes better in a can. I want a homemade... I want a can to represent... Debate. I want the great cranberry debate to take place. Debate. Debate it. It'll be a landslide. Duh. Everybody calling in is for the can. Wow. See, that's so weird because I totally think that there would be people who passionately feel like you do, Mikey. No one does. Like homemade cranberry sauce. Apparently, no one likes the homemade stuff. It's garbage. Then why do people make it? Because they like flavor. Because I know my brother does. Big time. My brother is with you. Like, big time prefers homemade. Let's see. P1 Graham may be a homemade guy. Are you a homemade guy?
Oh, yeah, homemade all the way. I'm going to have you debate somebody. I'm going to have you debate somebody in a great cranberry debate. Yes. You will represent the side of the homemade cranberry sauce, okay? All right. And this is on the other line. We've got P1J. Is that right? Jay, you are for the can. It's a tradition in my family. My mom won't serve anything else. That's all we have. Nice. We're going to start with you, Graham. You get opening statements in the great cranberry debate. Go ahead. Go ahead, Graham. Here we go. Your family, you guys like canned cranberries. Well, here's the deal. My family came here on the Mayflower. We've been having homemade cranberry sauce since 1620. Thank you. Well, that's interesting. But I've been in America all my life, and that's all I've eaten. Canned. That doesn't make it right. That's the product of a watered-down culture. Well, it's easier to spread on your turkey sandwich the next day when it's canned. Homemade rebuttal. I don't even see how you could say that. It's not much of a rebuttal. If you chop up the canned cranberry stuff, it's pretty much the same consistency. Except it doesn't have delicious fruit.
Canned, what say you? I say the jelly's better. It spreads better. I think my face is better. Wait. That doesn't even make sense. I don't know what that means. It got weird. What? Your face is better. I think he won, though, the face comment. Canned, rebuttal. It's just a tradition in America. Tell him your cans are better. Since cans were invented? Since cans were invented? And when did that happen? Early 1800s. 1842. Mike, what about the spreading on the turkey sandwich? That's a good point. You can spread it the same exact way. You can spread it the same way. When you make the homemade, it cooks down. They're still fighting. Spread your cans. You spread it the same way. No, you don't. The chunks of cranberry fall out of the sandwich. It's disgusting. It's disgusting when you just slime it on there like a bunch of jelly. No, it spreads easier. No, it doesn't. How would you know you've never done it? Stop it. A lot. Well, I just got to say, I mean, the canned cranberry stuff, I eat it if someone's serving it, if I'm at someone's Thanksgiving dinner or whatnot. But the only way to go, the traditional
We support the can. Right? So, can wins. He does not support the can. Yes. Can wins. So, you just change sides. We win. Which is just not rude. He wouldn't bring homemade if it wasn't asked for. Well, you might be that guy if you greet the bartender's suggestion to open a tab as an all-you-can-drink challenge. You might be that guy if you think it's acceptable to use a sink as a urinal. Oh, give me the sizzling bacon of that Angus bacon and cheese. It's an Angus deluxe day. Thick, juicy tomatoes, red onions. Oh, my mouth is so watering right now. Let's ditch this line and go to Mickey D's. I have to register my car, dude. Can't you go pick it up? In a car that's not registered? We drove here not registered. Okay, that's a good point. Give me the keys. Participation and duration may vary. Breakfast served during breakfast hours only. G59. McDonald's would like to help keep family and friends connected during these difficult times. So for a limited time, they're offering free Wi-Fi at all of their wayport-enabled San Diego County McDonald's. Featuring the Dump Chick Challenge, a cerebral substantiation of the females on the show, and a few callers. Ashley, in Morse code, what three-letter acronym is used when you're in distress? Mad. Dump Chick Challenge. Does she mean like mothers against drunk drivers? I don't know. And it only happens on the Mikey Show. Welcome back to the show. It's 8.51. Paris Hilton says her relationships don't last because guys get frustrated that all she'll do is kiss. I knew you'd like that. I knew you'd like that. I knew you'd like that. Oh, sorry. That's her Thanksgiving joke. That was a good one. Here you go, Rob. World Series MVP Mike Lowell re-signs with the Red Sox. Three years, $37.5 million. Nice. That would be awesome.
Mikey, today's show has been killer. Just wanted to say homemade cranberry sauce is the way to go. Doesn't get any better than chopping up all those fresh cranberries and watching the juice splatter. Signed, OJ Simpson. Again? I mean, first time today? Is the golf course closed today? Later, tea time. Oh, okay. So I'm just home on the... Getting my Mikey show on. Nice. You know, I'm on the Google machine. That's right. Yeah. I like to... Look up stuff. The email writer. P1 Messy Can is on the line. Hello, Messy Can. Hey, how's it going, guys? Just doing a suggestion for you guys. You guys should do a blind taste test with Mikey. You know, like that Costco ham and the honey baked ham with this guy. We should do a homemade one versus a canned one. Let's see if he tastes a difference or makes up his mind. The only thing is, is that you could tell canned right away because it's shaped and it feels the consistency is like Jell-O. But we can
Yeah. Something of that nature, yes. I'm open to it. Thank you. Why does Sky hate Mexicans? I don't know. I don't. I married one. I hate one. I hate one. I hate one, Josh. Yeah, man. What's up? I got a legitimate question for Skye. I was wondering if she's going to try and pass out cranberry sauce as homemade since she considers ranch dip in a pouch homemade. That is homemade. See, the cranberry sauce is not homemade. Just because you make it at home doesn't mean it's homemade. Yes, it does. So the packet I'm mixing at home is homemade. The cranberry sauce, you just dump it out in the can. That is not homemade. What am I supposed to do? Go milk a cow? Tell the Cinemax story. Oh. No. Come on. Please. Thanksgiving Thanksgiving. Well, I don't think it's any surprise to anybody that when it comes to sexuality, I'm a little pruderific. Little? Little. Little bit. Never actually watched a porno before. So, we end up getting, what's it called, DirecTV? Mm-hmm.
And, you know, my hubby wants the football package, and I want to make sure that I get, you know, HBO and Showtime. And so they had a really good deal on this package that was basically all the channels. So, okay, cool. We get that. So I've never had Cinemax before. I don't know what Cinemax is. I mean, so I didn't even realize, like, we got it. Like, I kind of thought that maybe it was one of those channels you had to pay for, like the Playboy channel or whatever. The Playboy channel? Playboy? Isn't that a channel? Well, yeah, but you're comparing Cinemax? Yeah, Cinemax and Movie Channel, and they play first-run movies. It's HBO Lite, basically. They play all big-name movies. A lot of times the Cinemax movies are like the older classics, like Home Alone you'll see on Cinemax. You'll see stuff like good movies from the past. Yeah, well, this goes back to what I'm saying. Like, I don't really know what it is. Like, I think it's just kind of like a Playboy channel type thing that you have to subscribe to. I didn't know. It's just like Showtime or HBO. Well, obviously not, but okay. It is. But it is. Well, I think that what Scott is trying to say is that at nighttime, it becomes something a little racier. Well, all those channels do.
HBO, well, HBO does... They do Real Sex. They do Cat House. What else do I have, TiVo? Okay, wait a second. Showtime, they got their Red Shoe Diaries. They got a bunch of crazy stuff, too. Oh, well, I haven't seen that. You will. Okay. So, anyway, so I'm... It's so awkward. So, this stuff makes me uncomfortable. I'm not going to lie. I'm just uncomfortable with it. And for that reason is why I don't watch pornography. I'm uncomfortable with it. So with the Cinemax, like you said, they play good kind of classic movies. Not classics, but you know what I mean. You would see... Like Wedding Crashers is always on. Yep, they play the hits. Yeah, they play the hits. I love it. Old and new hits. Is that a good way to say it? Pretty much, yeah. So one of my first experiences with said Cinemax... um i am watching wedding crashers like we're making dinner and wedding crashers is on and then we eat our dinner and then wedding crashers are still on we sit down oh let's see what's on the dvr because we've seen wedding crashers 800 times it's kind of just like background you're in the living room yeah we're downstairs okay so oh my gosh so we go to the dvr we start watching stuff that's dvr you know survivor whatever we're watching it
And when it ends, it puts you back to the channel that you were originally on. So we start off the DVR at, say, like 9.30. So by the time we're done with the program, it's 10.30. And it immediately puts us back on Cinemax. By the way, that's 1.30 Eastern. So what you're really looking at is 1.30 in the morning Eastern time. So I see stuff that I didn't... realize we got on my television and um that's porno yes in my in my opinion it is i know there's other there's other people who It's soft core pornography, for sure. Okay. Blank my blank and blank you. There's an example. And to me, there's really no difference when it comes to that stuff. Like soft core, hardcore, it's all something that makes me feel weird. Oh, believe me, there's a difference. There's a little bit of a difference. Believe me. Okay, well, I haven't seen hardcore, but I know now seeing soft core that obviously I'm out on the whole thing. So your husband's sitting there with you. Yes. And this comes on.
I'm like frantic, trying to get the remote, and I'm uncomfortable. You're just watching with your husband, not your mom and dad. Now, are you making a joke of it, or are you really looking for that remote? No, there's no joking going on. Like, I want to change the channel. Like, you're not doing a funny, comical, I'm looking for the remote? No, it's almost opposite. It's like, I'm frantic inside looking for the remote, but I'm not trying to, I don't want my husband to see that I'm frantic. Physically, you are casually looking for the remote. Yeah. Internally, you're like, oh, get this off. Get this off right now. I want to die. I wish this didn't happen. What is his body language and his thing? I can't control my horny level. That's good. The facial expressions of the Joker. smile ear to ear christmas morning um i'm ready now um you know he's happy as a clam this is what's interesting to me he knows how you are so is he thinking well maybe she'll uh change her mind um yeah i i believe i mean we haven't had a discussion but yeah i i believe so so
So now, whenever we go to the DVR, I make sure that we are not on Cinemax prior because I don't want that to ever happen again. And Mikey, when we talked about it, brought up the idea of parental controls. Well, wait a second. Hang on a minute. Wait a minute. Hang on. Well, no, as a joke, Mike said that. I said it as a joke and she goes, well, I didn't realize you're saying I can block it. No, I want parental controls for me. He's an adult. For me. Not for him. You're an adult. I don't care. I don't want to accidentally stumble on that. Oh, I see what you're saying. I don't want what happened to happen. Gotcha. I want to block myself from seeing that. But won't you be blocking him? In turn? I don't know. I don't know how parental controls work. I don't either. They don't take your thumbprint. There's not like a password? No, what they do is it takes a retinal scan. It scans the room. Yes, it scans the room for your retina. And then it allows, if it's the right retinal cavity. Prude is watching. Prude is watching. And I don't want to cancel it because... Retinal scan accepted. Cinemax. What do you think is going on when you go to bed? Well, you know, I don't care. Whatever. Retinal scan denied. You know, that's my hubby's time. But for me, like... Retinal scan accepted. You don't know, like...
Like, really, it causes me anxiety. Retinal scan really denied. Like, seriously, so I don't want to cancel it. Well, here's the deal. If it makes you that uncomfortable, then your husband should be sensitive. It makes you uncomfortable. If it makes you that uncomfortable, you should go, hey, listen, I want to make her uncomfortable. Yeah. But then there's also the part of me. You know, me and my house, we're not watching it. So, you know, but if it happened to come on. Because you get all the channels too, right? Yeah, we get all the channels. If we were watching something on the DVR and it finished and Skinamax was on, change it. No big whoop. You change it. Don't want to watch that? Change it. You're acting like you're going to get hurt by it? It makes her uncomfortable is what she's saying. And I think uncomfortable is like an understatement. I really wish there was another word. And then part of me feels like... I don't know if a jerk's the right word, but I don't want to feel that uncomfortable. But at the same time, I don't want to go through the steps to desensitize myself to it. Is it embarrassment? Like, what kind of feelings do you get? Yeah, like embarrassment, ashamed. Well, ashamed is... Ashamed? I don't know about the ashamed. I'm ashamed that I'm, like, seeing it. Like, I don't feel like I should be watching it. I would understand if it was hardcore porn, for sure. And I would agree with you 100%. But if it's...
Skinamax? But see, that's your line. That's your line. You know, we're all different, like, in what we choose to eat, how we choose to dress. We all have our own personal things that we can't. Yeah, like, you know me, you know, my life is all changed now. I'm Christian, so you know if it was me, I wouldn't be watching any, I wouldn't be watching one of the shows where the people are running around topless. No, I totally understand. That's my line. I'm wondering about, like, Skinamax, is it, because I've never seen, like, I don't think I know the difference. Cinemax, well, I can tell you from my old life. Cinemax is naked people having intercourse. Oh, so they are naked. Oh, yeah. Simulating. You just don't see, like... You don't see, yes, that word that you know. Sure. You don't see that. But you see they're naked and they're doing it. You ever seen a grown man naked? So I understand how Skye is like, you know, she's uncomfortable. But then at the same time, like, I feel... bad for being uncomfortable. I'm an adult woman. I'm a married woman. Eddie's shaking his head. You should. I don't need you guys backing me up. We should go to parties where we can buy lingerie and cool fun stuff. We should expand. Went to one of those. Coming out of my skin. You didn't like it? Coming out of my skin. There wasn't enough wine in that.
house to make me feel lemon drops well it's like someone who's like afraid of flying you know you just gotta keep doing it more and more and more no be good for you that's different see and i don't like part of me almost thinks i need to like force myself to watch something but then another part of me is like why i don't feel like that's missing from my life i don't feel like i need that in my life I don't know. Well, it's compromise. If it affects your husband, like if it kind of bugs your husband, then maybe you get creeped out by Cinemax. I don't think any of that's necessary. I mean, if you have your line, you have your line. That's fine. Yeah. But I just don't understand, like, the freak out. Yeah. It's like, again, it's your husband sitting there. Right. The person that you do make love to. Right. Not... your parents or guests, then I would be coming out of my skin. If I turned on my DVR and turned it off and my mom was sitting right there, I'd freak. To put it in perspective, those feelings you would have... Sean's mom or whoever. Whoever was there. To put it in perspective, those feelings you have sitting next to your parents are the same feelings I have. Sean? It's happened to me before. What has happened to you?
A very similar situation where we were, you know, Cinemax had been on earlier. And it was me, my wife, my mom. She was visiting. And we were all watching television. Slow down. Oh, my gosh. I'm not going to tell us if you're going to do this, dude. If he's about to say what I think he's about to say. And? So we actually watched a movie that we had recorded earlier. And it went into the evening. And when it stopped, there was a lot going on. Yeah. A lot. That's brutal. That is brutal. Now, I can understand, you know, being a little embarrassed in that situation. But if it's just your husband, I don't get that. But see, those feelings you have sitting next to your mom are probably the same feelings I have. Sitting next to your husband? Yes. But it's your husband. She can't help the feeling. It's not like she can turn it on and off and be like, I'm not going to feel this. She feels it. I try and imagine what it would feel like if my mom was sitting next to me, not my husband, and I think it would be the exact same feelings for me. I got an email about it. Mikey, concerning the Skinamax channel and Sky, it's ridiculous. Tell her she's acting like a prude. Signed, Estelle Getty. Oh, wow.
That's an old lady. Can you imagine that? I mean, she was on the Golden Girls. Yeah, I mean. Well, she's lived longer. Of all people. Well, she's lived longer. She's had time to adjust. She's had time to adjust. All right, Sean. Who knew? Oh, for goodness sake. You're an old lady. It's a freaky thing, man. Everybody has their line. Comfort level. That's a comfort level. P1 Chris, what's up? Hey, what's up, Mikey? What's going on? Sky, can I use your time machine? Because I know you've got to be a 60-year-old woman out of the 1960s. Dude, that's fine. I am a 60-year-old woman inside, if not older. But, Chris, don't you say... What's the difference between that pop and... You know, I'd question that one. I'm going to go ahead and... I'm ahead of it. Good call. Good call. Choice of wording there wasn't quite good. Yeah, not really sure about that choice of wording. Jeez. But, yeah, so, Eddie, you're saying... Okay, Eddie, what do you think...
should happen the next time this goes down well yeah you know i'm there's no way sky's changing so you know my old my whole only problem with this i don't care if you watch it or don't watch it you're right it is your own line it's the freaking out with your i mean your husband it's your husband i know and so that's the only thing i don't understand and i have a hard time like wrapping my head around because it wasn't that if it were anybody else i get it But your husband, I mean, you guys are as intimate as can be, you know, so I don't get it. P1 Harold, are you there? Yeah, I got a question for Sky. All right. Yeah, you've seen the movie 300, right? Yeah. Yeah, there was a sex scene in there, and... Where was there a sex scene in 300? With Leonidas and his wife. Leonidas! Yeah. You know what I mean by weapon? I'm watching that today. You say that every time. I gotta put that thing in today. That is the greatest. So sex scenes in movies are quite a bit different than what I have seen in my 30 second exposure to Cinemax. But at the same time, there definitely have been sex scenes in movies where I'm like a little uncomfortable and I'm like, okay, get back to the plot. Like Top Gun because you know he's gay and you're like, why is he with a woman? That doesn't make sense. It just makes me uncomfortable for him.
P1 Jess. Yeah, hi. I was going to say I agree with Skye. I feel uncomfortable with the whole scene. Everybody getting it on, getting naked. I feel uncomfortable too. Thank you. Skye's not the only person. No. Other people feel uncomfortable about it too. Ashley. P1 Backboy. What's up? Hey, I just want to ask Skye. She said she's seen a wedding shoot a few times. Basically, in the beginning, there's those scenes with all the getting uh you know they're laying down on the bed and they're all topless does that make you feel uncomfortable or is it just when there's a couple getting intimate that makes you feel comfortable um i don't recall that scene um because have you seen the unrated version uh no and the only time i saw wedding crashers from like beginning to end is when it first came out because now every time i'll catch it like halfway through it'll be on they'll be like oh i like this movie it's funny um
Excuse me, guys. I hate to interrupt this. My mom is calling in about this topic. This is going to be the best. Whatever it is, this is going to be the best. My mom is calling in about the topic. What were you calling in to say? Well, called and told me to call you and tell you. What I saw when I walked into our bedroom. Okay, wait a second. What is going on? What is happening right now? What happened? Now I'm uncomfortable. Well... What is going on? What happened? Dad is sitting in his rocker watching TV. Right. And on TV, it's not a football game or a boxing match. It's this naked, naked, I mean, completely... I think she was telling the weather. A naked lady telling the weather? I hit the button on my mom. I got it, mom. Mom, mom, mom, mom, mom. You can't go that far, mom. You can't say that. Can't say that on the radio, mom. Can't say that on the radio. Esther was describing what she saw. Yes, yes. Just so people know. But we can't. So anyway. Her legs. Thank you. Thank you.
And so, did you say anything to him? What? Right? I don't know. I don't know. Did you happen to catch what channel it was? Okay. Thank you, Mom. Say what you have to say and shut up. 5-3. When my friend got arrested, we called King Stallman. Well, I went to jail. I didn't know what to do. They said my bail was $5,000. I couldn't afford that, so I called the only person I knew, King Stallman. We'll be right back.

You haven't really said what you're doing. You're hanging out with anybody in particular? Old ass friend. Who we got? I think the reason that he's being so sensitive is because...
Eddie has pointed out on a few occasions that Sean's mother looks way more like his sister than his mother, and we've all met her, and she's a very, very pretty lady. Fox. She's pretty. But anyway, so Thanksgiving plans, Sean? What you got? No. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show at 921. The State Bar of California has launched an investigation into San Diego City Attorney Mike Aguirre. Congratulations to A-Rod. He wins his third AL MVP. Subject is Sky the Prude. It says, wow, you're 28 and embarrassed of watching porn. Loosen the girdle and take off the granny panties. You're prude. Signed.
The Amish community. I don't think that one. That was P1 Josh. I like that. Sky is not as innocent as it seems is the subject. Mikey, I heard that she has a late night show on Cinemax called The Bathhouse Diaries. Oh, really? I heard that too. Yeah. It's P1 Josh. Sure you did, Josh. Subject of this one is, didn't she lose her virginity at age 12? Hey, Mikey. No, I did not. Didn't Sky lose the virginity at age 12? Why is she freaking out? Signed, P1 Josh. Why is Josh? Rob, what do you got going on with your turkey? Oh, no. Oh, no. I thought... Already you know something bad is going on. Brutal. Well, I thought I learned so much from last year and that purple leg and thinking I was going to... So gross. Give everyone botulism. Yeah. Well, I got a big turkey this year. It's like 20 pounds or roughly 20 pounds, 21 something. Supposed to start defrosting it. It's a giant turkey. Do you think it's necessary that he had a... Absolutely. He's having, like, what, 40, 50 people over? Yeah, I mean, if it's a 20-pound turkey, you're having at least 25 people over. I have eight or nine, but you've got to understand, I'm counting for my cousin and my brother, Big Al Kahuna. These two, it's going to be a competition to see who can eat the most. Okay. I'm not even... I'm thinking about getting another one. Oh, come on. A small one. Holy cow. I'm serious. So... You have a 20-pound turkey, and where is it right now? Well, as of last night, it's in the fridge. Okay. And it was frozen, right? See, I don't even know. I'm being honest. I don't even know. It's fine. You can keep it in the fridge.
Until the day before. The day before, then you've got to put it in the sink and let it defrost. Because he's going to thaw it out in that fridge. Yeah, that's what I figured. It will thaw completely in the fridge. You think by Thursday, though? Absolutely. 100%. No doubt in my mind. If you stuck it in there yesterday, you put it in there yesterday? Last night. Chefs, call in 570-1053. Yeah, I don't think. And I felt it like this thing was like a rock. Rock hard? Yeah. So what I was going to do is get up Thursday morning at like 536 and put it on the counter and let it sit on the counter. We're talking 48 more hours, you guys. Put it in the sink, dude. I'm telling you, 48 hours. Put it on the counter. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, first of all, when you take out a frozen turkey to deshaw, you put it in the sink overnight. No. You put it in the sink overnight. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey. What's up? You know what? I don't think it's going to be thawed on time. No, it's definitely not. I don't think so either. I'm a chef. I've done, like, one year I did 37 turkeys for to-go orders. Holy. So, wait a minute. So, wait a minute. You're saying a 20-pound turkey in one, two, three, four days? Four days. Four days. How are you counting four days? Today's Tuesday. It's on Thursday. No, no, no. Today is one. But I thought you put it in there Sunday. No, I wanted to. Okay, so last night, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. That's...
You're saying two days, two full days. Chef P1, P1 Chef? Yeah. You're saying three days frozen turkey fridge won't happen? Was it frozen last night, B-Rob? Oh, like, ridiculous. Yeah, no. It's not in the fridge. There's not a 20-pounder. No way. Now, it's safe, right, to keep in the fridge till Wednesday night. Right, and then do the sink thing. I mean, Eddie's right. You don't want to be, like, leaving that thing sitting around when you go to work. You definitely want to keep it in the fridge, but then the day of, I mean, check it. I guarantee that cavity inside, it's still going to be frozen. You stick the neck and all that stuff in there. Yeah, you get all that junk out. So, would you say, would you say, P1 Chef guy, that on Wednesday, like, what time should he stick that sucker in the sink Wednesday? You're going to cook it Wednesday? No, he's going to cook it Thursday. Thursday morning. He's going to defrost it. When you get home from work. Are you guys at work on Wednesday? Well, you got to give us a time, bro. Tell us a time tomorrow to take it out and stick it in the sink. I'd say when Rob gets home from work. Yeah, but you don't know what time that is. What if Rob gets home? I'm guessing he probably gets home around two-ish. Yeah, roughly. Oh, look at you. I listen to the show every day, you guys. Oh, I know, but even I don't know what time he gets home. I'll be honest with you. I swear. I also follow him after the show every day, too. That's weird.
What Ashley said the other day, too, when she said she came home and bakes cookies in her routine, I figured maybe it was something similar. Okay, so, Rob, when you get home tomorrow at 2 o'clock, when you get home, take out the turkey and stick it in the sink, and by Thursday morning... No. No, just stick it in the sink. Oh, my gosh. Hold on. Well, how hard is it to follow what we're saying? Who said warm water? Who said that? Do you put it in water? No. Oh my God. Then what's the difference from the sink and the counter? Why can't I put it on the counter? Dude, the counter, you're going to have a bunch of bacteria. It's going to melt and get all that pink juice. Not directly on the counter. I'll put like some tinfoil or something under it. Dude. Why can't you put it in the sink? What does it matter with your sink? Because there's dishes in the sink and I don't want to do the dishes. Oh my God. Oh my God. He is so backwards. This is unbelievable. He can't do anything. People in Santia right now, people in Santia are like, you're filthy. He is planning on preparing a Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people with a sink full of dishes. Someone will do them eventually. He's talking about getting another turkey and he hasn't even figured out how to cook the first.
Mikey Show. I know how to cook it. You just put it in the oven. Not on broil. I learned that last year. Mikey Show. Look at his face. Oh, my God. Hello? Hello? Yes. P1 Greg. Go ahead. All right. As far as the turkeys go, you can't really just let it sit in the sink. It has to be under cool running water. That is not true. That's not true. That is not true. There's something called the danger zone, which goes from 40 degrees to 140 degrees. And it can't be in that hour. I mean, it can't be in that range for more than four hours in its entire life or else it's really immune to a food board. We got to get Chef Tom on the phone. Do we have Tom? Let me hang on. But every disease disappears once you cook it. Oh, wait. Yeah, like AIDS. You can cook the AIDS right out of something. Yeah, why don't we just cook my junk that way? Oh, my God, Sean. Wow. Little Magic Johnson in the oven. You're all good, Magic. Oh, my God. No, like the botulas and salmonella. Like, once you cook it, it kills germs. I can't believe I don't have Tom's number. Tom, if you're listening, call in. Chef Tom. Come on, Tom. I'll do a half and half. What I'll do is Wednesday night, I'll put it. Hold on. Check this out. Oh, God.
It's a half and half. I got two sections of the sink. I got the split sink thing. I'll do turkey Wednesday night in the sink, dry. Just in the sink. Then when I get up at 6 in the morning, I'll put some cool water on the other side. Just hang on. Hang on, Rob. Mikey Show. Hey, the difference between the sink and the counter is the sink is metal, and the metal attracts the atmosphere. Long story short, it... It attracts the atmosphere. I wanted to hear the rest of that. You did. Yeah. It attracts the atmosphere, Sky. Mikey's showing. I'm pulling the cool out of it. Hello. Hello? Yes, go ahead. My name's Gus. I just took my test for certification. Food handlers. Manager. The best way to do it, defrost in the fridge. The morning of, get up, put in a sink full of cold water. and leave the water running so the water overspills into another sink. That is the best way so you don't grow bacteria, and it'll be defrosted. It'll be defrosted in time with the water. Frost it in the fridge. Take it out morning of. I'm getting a turkey in the mail. Is it going to fit in the mail? Yeah, I hope they can fit it in there. Weird. No, I think we already got it. Rebecca, yeah, it came in this morning.
But I don't know if it's frozen or if it's unfrozen. I'm sure it's, I don't know. What they do when they send me stuff like this before is they stick those cold packs in there. You know what I mean? It's in like a little styrofoam thing. But I'm going to have to figure out myself what I'm going to do. Mikey Show. Hey, I got an awesome way for you to cook the turkey. Go ahead. No, no, no. No, we're talking about defrosting it. Well, he said he didn't know how to cook it either. I know how to cook a turkey. You don't broil it. That's how you cook it. You put it in the oven. Mikey Show. I don't know if I'm the most qualified person, but I'm a meat manager for Ralph. I bet you are. What does that mean? Why is that funny, Rob? I thought meat manager. Okay, thank you, Rob. Go ahead, sir. Anyways, the rule of thumb is four. Every four pounds of turkey, 24 hours to defrost in the fridge. What? Or under running cool water for a half hour for every pound. So if you've got a 20-pound bird, you're looking at roughly 10 hours running under cool water. I heard you could do hot water and it's 15 minutes for Rob. Oh, my God. Where did you hear that? Ask facts.com. Search your phone lines and see if you can find Chef Tom on the line. Mikey, I can't believe how filthy Rob is. He sounds so gross.
I wouldn't eat anything he would cook. Yours truly, Courtney Love. P1 Garrett. That's so true. All the girls got standard. Yeah, listen, Courtney Love is grossed out by Rob. No one was hurt last year. We're fine. Yeah, how'd that turkey taste? Delicious. Was it? Yeah. How did you prepare it? What did you do to the turkey? I told you. I know, it was purple. Well, yeah, because I didn't do the defrosting that everyone's talking about now. You stuck it in frozen? Well, it was half frozen because I forgot to defrost it. Then I did the warm water thing. So, like, the leg was purple. And then when I did put it in... I put it on broil, so like 15 minutes later, it smelled done. And I was confused. Broil? Yeah, I forgot that you don't do broil for stuff like that. And then I had to like chisel off the top because it was black. But I did a great like maple syrup glaze on it, and that was kind of good. Maple syrup glaze? What did you do, bro? Purple turkey. You take a bottle of Aunt Jemima and pour it over the top.
It's filthy. No, no, that's filthy. That is a hobo turkey. Oh, dude. No, hobos are like, that's disgusting. It wasn't exactly that. You mix it with some water or something. You are a filthy animal. There's a recipe. I'll find it. I'll find it. I promise. The recipe is Jemima's and water. And you take the base through it. Yeah, no, what you do is. You take an empty bleach bottle. I didn't mean water. I meant Aquafina. You throw some syrup in there. A little bit of sugar. And even Gandhi's like, I'm full. That's so gross. And use the good stuff, you know. Light if you're watching your weight. If it's cooked good, I'm going to throw it up anyway. P1, Eddie is on the line. I heard Rob saying that after he cooked the turkey that he killed all the bacteria. That's not necessarily true. If you left it out too long in the danger zone, your food's already tainted. Your food's already poisoned, even if you cook it. Thank you.
It's so gross. Rob, you're a mess. So I'm out on that show, The Bachelor. I'm completely out. I used to like it, and I don't like it anymore. Did you watch at all this season? Not an episode. How about you, Eddie? Yeah, I watched it. Oh, the whole season? Yeah. Oh, I didn't know. It's my wife's favorite show. Oh. Has it gotten better, Eddie? It's the same. It's the exact same concept. Are they still doing contrived situations where they make them talk? Of course. Nothing different. They don't change that formula one iota. So The Bachelor is where they take this one guy, they put him in a house with 25 young, beautiful women, and they all vie for him. Now, the only reason I'm talking about this today is because last night for the first time, he turned them both down. What? Came down to two ladies. Wait. Oh, whoa. It came down. I guess Ashley had a T-vote. Oh, no. Ash, it's a radio show. We do the news. We got to talk about this. I wish I'd have known I would have never said. Yeah, right. Yeah, I know. Okay. So it came down between Jenny and Deanna. She's looking at me like, oh, really great. Thanks. I don't even care. So he said no to both of them. That is interesting. I can't believe that. Well, here's Jenny. Here's this chick, Jenny. Here's what she said to him. His name is Brad, by the way. Cut 44.
This moment is the reason why it was so hard for me to tell you how I felt. And now I feel embarrassed for telling you. I don't think there's anything embarrassing at all about someone telling another person how they feel at all. In fact, I think I should tell you I don't feel anything. Oh, that's brutal. I find you annoying. I thought he, like, loved Jenny. Well... Here is her parting comments in the limo. Cut for five. One of the worst feelings in the whole wide world. I don't know about them and they kind of just reject their feelings. I'm going to tell people how I feel. Look at Ashley. Before I came here, there's one person in this life for you and you'll find him. Obviously, it's not Brad. I can honestly just say that I know that he's one more happy than anything. I'm a good boy, you're one.
The show revels in them being broken at the end. They really do. They love it. Ash, you can put your headphones back on. Ash, question. Now, when you watch this stuff, do you just bawl your eyes out at this stuff? No, not this stuff. Biggest loser, that's a whole other story. I reached down during that show, dude. Okay, so that was Jenny. So he turns her down, right? So Deanna is the other girl. She must obviously think, okay, so I'm getting married. It's a lock. It's a lock. Congratulations to me. She doesn't know that he turned Jenny down. You're right. You're right. She doesn't know. Because the way that they do it is they don't know. Yeah, they keep them separated. That would ruin everything. But so he gets now. The audience, however. Yeah. America. Right. You are like, well, he just said no to Jenny. So I'm about to see him tell Deanna. And Ashley's right. It would have been an upset because, I mean, everybody. pretty much would have thought Jenny was the one. They were together the whole time. You pretty much thought Jenny was going to be the one. So when he turned down Jenny, that would have been a shock because you think he's going to pick Deanna. And then this happens. That's crazy. Cut 46. We always promised ourselves we'd be completely honest, right? No matter how much it could hurt. And I see so many things that I never thought I would ever have in my entire life. I'm trying to tell you that I have...
so, so many feelings for you. And I want so badly to be so confident to pick you up and twirl you around and give you a diamond ring and spend my life with you. But I can't look you in your eye and tell you that I love you. I can't. I can't give you any promise that I can't keep. I refuse to do that. I have to tell you goodbye. Listen, I've never seen one episode of this. Just trip me out. You understand? I can't. Let me tell you, I want to make this perfectly clear, you know, and put this in plain English. Hit the bricks, pal, because you are going out, okay? That's all I'm trying to say to you. Hit the bricks, pal, and beat it, because you are going out. I think it's honorable. I mean, the guy, you know, he's not trying to lead anybody on. He's being honest. He says, I don't feel it. What's the point? What's the point of the show?
Isn't it that you're trying to find love? I think that the producers had something to do with it. You think they talked him out of love? No, I think... I thought that too. I think that the audience was probably like... Because Eddie and I both were like, oh, it's Jenny all the way. We knew a long time ago that he was going to pick Jenny. So maybe the audience was like, oh, you know... it's so obvious he's going to pick Jenny, and it's not even, who even cares who he's going to pick? It's obvious he's going to pick Jenny. So the producers said, hey, don't pick anybody. Controversy. See, my thought is that the buzz around The Bachelor is like, people, I think, have checked out of The Bachelor. We're kind of over it, in my opinion. And producers knew that this would create a buzz. And today, people would be talking about The Bachelor again. Rebecca just IM me. Yeah. She said that He starts out by telling Deanna that he just told Jenny goodbye. So Deanna gets this giant smile. So she says that she gets this giant smile. That is so funny.
Because she knows he's picking her. Then he goes into that speech. With that being said, I got to hear what he said again. Now I got to hear it again. Now I got to hear it again. Oh, man. We always promised ourselves we'd be completely honest, right? She's got a smile right now. No matter how much it could hurt. You just told Jenny goodbye. But can't she hear the music? I look at you and I see so many queens that I never thought I would ever have in my entire life. I'm trying to tell you that I have... so, so many feelings for you. I want so badly to be so confident to pick you up and twirl you around and give you a diamond ring and spend my life with you. But I can't look you in your eye and tell you that I love you. I can't give you any promise that I can't keep. I refuse to do that. I have to tell you goodbye. I'm trying to imagine, like, the producers discussing this saying,
you know like they're in this room they're smoking cigarettes they're like oh and let's get the right music too the music like whatever the music is gotta convey like uh that is crazy so how how many people are gonna tune in to watch the after the rose thing tonight it's tonight that's what it says here tonight both women return to face oh my yeah and get some answers honey are you there oh juicy honey you there Yeah, I'm here. So when you were watching it, obviously you're like, oh, he's picking Deanna. Yeah, absolutely. You know, because I've watched every single season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. And, you know, except for one, the person who arrives first is the one that, you know, the person says no to. And then, so last night he said no to Jenny and then Deanna pulls up and it's like, well, obviously he's picking her.
And, yeah, so she arrives and he says, you know, how beautiful she looks. He talks about how... She's got butterflies, by the way. You know the butterflies are like coming out. They're flying out of her mouth. She's like, I'm about to be proposed to right now. Right. It's the biggest day of her life. Yeah. He tells her how beautiful she is. He tells her how when he kissed her for the first time... that he hadn't felt that way inside for as long as he can remember. Oh, wow. And he says, because of that, I just told Jenny goodbye. Oh, okay. So now, it takes brass balls. And she, you guys, she, like, gets this just amazing smile. I mean, you can just, like, her heart opens up. And she's thinking, this is what I've been waiting for my entire life. And what... What must be... Like, when she smiles like that, what must this guy Brad... Like, his heart must be pounding like... Yeah. Well, and then he does this really weird thing. So, he tells her that he just told Jenny goodbye. And he... Ashley just took her headphones off. She cannot hear this. He said something like, so... And he...
He even kind of messes with the lapel on his jacket a little bit. So you're thinking, okay, this is when he's going to pull out the ring. Oh, man. Come on. Oh, my. He's real quiet, and then he starts messing with the collar, and he's loosening his tie, and he's real nervous. And she's interpreting this, by the way, as how cute. Yeah. He's nervous. He's nervous. He's going to act like, and I'm going to remember how cute he was. Yes. How nervous he was. And that's what I'm thinking as the viewer too. Like, oh, you know, he's so nervous about asking her. And so all of a sudden he takes his hands away from her and he goes, hold on just a second. And he walks away from her and he's like loosening his collar. It's like, he's so nervous. She's standing there kind of awkward like, I'm not sure he should be this nervous. Right, right, right. And then so he comes back up, takes her hands, and then it's exactly what you heard. Oh, that is. So what happens to her face? Oh, I mean, just instant tears. Oh, dude. Devastation. And for people who have watched it, like Eddie's watched it, he knows. Like, she's kind of a firecracker.
You know, there's something about her personality where she's going to tell you how she feels, you know. And he says at the end of it, which you didn't hear on the clip, he says, you know, I just hope that you know how much I care for you. And she goes, no, no, I actually don't. I don't know how much you care for me. And I thought I did until right this second. I don't know any of this. Honey, thank you for that. Thank you for calling. That's my wife, Rebecca. I love you, babe. P1 Jessica, you there? Yes. I love your wife. I love her. I love her more. She's fantastic. So what were you... I've seen every single episode of this show. Like, I do not miss it. And I love Jenny. Love, love, love Jenny. And I never really liked Deanna very much. I thought she was a little too overbearing. But I cried like a little baby last night watching that show. It was so sad. I almost cried. That was Junior Seau, and Junior Seau just said he almost... He's a big, strong football player. He's number 55. Wait, Junior, you're saying that you almost cried? I almost cried. Wow. That's amazing that Junior Seau almost cried.
I know. We watched it together. Bill Parcells watches it as well. Really? And he doesn't understand a lot of it. I don't know any of this. Exactly. All right, Coach. Well, we won't ask you. I have to fill him in on a few minor details. But, you know, I liked Brad through the whole show. He was, like, one of the only bachelors that I really kind of liked and thought he was a nice guy and there for the right reasons. And I was certain he was going to pick Jenny. And the way that he did things last night was so mean. Like, the way he just bled Deanna on when he... started talking to her and he's like, yeah, you know, I just said bye to Jenny and this and that. And then slowly but surely, you just watch her face. Now, as the viewer, as the viewer, Jessica, just so sad. And when you were watching it, though, as the viewer, were you like, did your jaw drop open? Like, I can't believe this is happening. Well, When he said no to Jenny, my jaw dropped. And I was like, no way. Like, he's saying bye to Jenny. And after that, I was ready to just turn off the show and go to bed. But I wanted to see what happened. And when he started talking to Deanna and he's telling her, like, oh, I just said bye to Jenny. And you said that when you get married, it's going to be one time and it's going to be for the rest of your life. And I want you to know that I agree and all this. And then he does, you know, what your wife said. He kind of freaks out.
And when that happened, when it happened, were you like, I can't believe what I'm seeing? Like, I can't believe what I'm seeing. Because right away, you could tell, like, even Dion's face, like, she kind of looked like, oh, this is cute at first. But after he was, it was kind of extreme. Like, he was running around, like, in circles in this little grassy area that they're standing in and, like, loosening his top. I'll tell you what that is. Can I tell you what that is, Jessica? Jessica, I'm going to tell you what that is. Well, listen, this is what I think. What? I think that the producers told him that this is the way it was going to go down. And he probably went, that's what you want me to do? And they were like, listen, that's going to make great TV. And so he agreed to do it. And once they started taping it, and once it started going on, he was like so nervous. I mean, who wouldn't be? Who wouldn't be? The kind of person that Deonna seemed to be, at least throughout the show, is like very, like she wants what she wants. And if she doesn't get what she wants, She, you know, she pretty much says this on her mind. You can tell, like, after, like, a minute or so of him kind of freaking out, her face just goes to, like, what? You know, like, why is this decision so hard for you? And then he comes back, and you can just tell that she just kind of knows, like, this is messed up. Hang on a second. Eddie, you got a question? Yeah, I have a question. This is going to be over real quick. For the ladies, do you dislike The Bachelor now?
The show or the guy? No, the guy, Brad. I haven't seen a second of it, and I hate him. I really liked him throughout the whole show, and I just think that last night was so shocking because it was so different from the way he portrayed himself through the whole show. Jessica, are you single? Yes, I am. If he approached you tonight and wanted to go out with you, would you? oh absolutely that's an absolutely yes that's an absolutely yes wow wow well tonight is quite a mikey show extravaganza on abc um at eight o'clock and 8 30 we have two uh charlie brown episodes uh thank you Yeah, at 8 o'clock, it's a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, 8.30. He's a bully, Charlie Brown. Oh, come on, Charlie Brown. That's the one you got to watch. It should be called She's a Bully. It's about Ashley beating up on Charlie Brown. Yeah, absolutely. Ashley's known Seth since she was five years old, so that was her yelling at Seth when they were five. So mean. She's always been mean to him. No.
And then at 9 o'clock is Dancing with the Stars and our girl Avril Lavigne will be performing. So I'm sure we'll talk about that tomorrow. That's punk. Yep. And then 10 o'clock to 11 o'clock is The Bachelor After the Rose. Wow. I'll be watching that. Thank you. I was on my way to work and I got the biggest smile on my face to hear you in the game. 105.3. Hit it. It's K-I-O-Z San Diego. Hit it. It's K-I-O-Z San Diego. Hit it. It's K-I-Z San Diego. Hit it. Hit it. Hit it. It's K-I-Z San Diego. Hit it. Hit it. Ashley, say hit it. Say hit it. Just say the words hit it. Sorry, my headphones were turned down. Oh, it's okay. Oh, for goodness sake. She didn't even know how to say it. What happened? She was going to play the K-I-Z. Forget it. What? So we've been spending the last half an hour talking about...
What happened last night on the TV show The Bachelor on BBC. Tonight is after the Rose. Chris Harrison is on the line. Hey, Chris. What's going on, guys? Good morning. And last night was probably a first for The Bachelor, right? It definitely was a first. Yeah, it was a first for all of us. The guy turned down both ladies. Yeah, dumped them both after 25 beautiful women. And then he ends up choosing Deanna, only he doesn't choose Deanna. He ends up sending her home as well. And so it was, you know, I say it every year and I have for six years that it's the most dramatic rose ceremony. You really meant it this time. Yeah, finally. Yeah, last night it actually was. Chris Harrison is the host of the show. My wife said that in the promo for After the Rose, he says to Jenny, I'm not sure how I can explain that I just didn't fall in love. Oh. I just fell in bed with you, not in love. Yeah. Totally different. It's kind of true. Did they do the overnight stays and all that stuff? Oh, yeah. We were in Cabo. We did the overnight stays. And, you know, you mentioned the final roast special tonight. We shot that earlier this weekend. And the Jenny interview was tough. But, guys, let me tell you, the interview with Deanna is...
unbelievable television. It is the most uncomfortable, angry, passionate situation you will ever see. Wow. Of course. They haven't seen each other for two months since that final rose. So she has been pining and dreaming about him. She comes back pissed off, but at the same time, she's still head over heels in love with him and hoping that they were going to get back together on this special. Really? unbelievable. I knew she was going to be mad, but I didn't know she was still in love with him. And she just breaks down. It was horrible. Oh, wow. That's crazy. Chris, how uncomfortable is it for you sometimes sitting in that room? How uncomfortable is that for you? I damn near dug a hole in the chair I was sitting in and just wanted to crawl in it. It was terrible. And then Brad looked at me at one point because over and over he just has to tell her. Deanna, it's not happening. I don't love you. It's not going to happen. Oh, my God. He just keeps hammering away, and he probably looks at me, and I'm just like, dude, I can't help you. It was terrible. Well, here's the thing. This is what's so interesting about the show The Bachelor. It always starts out so fun. Yeah.
Everybody's in jacuzzis. Yep, having cocktails. Everybody's having dates. People are in hot air balloons. Helicopters. Exactly. Carriage rides. Yeah, carriage rides. You know, there's a lot of, like, bundling up. Yes. And snuggling. And then there's like families and like hugging parents and like, oh, it's so nice to finally meet you. And then. That's kind of the MO of our show is it starts out fun and all that. But then, you know, the last three or four episodes get very serious. When The Bachelor finally says, I didn't realize it was going to be this difficult. Right. I can't believe this journey has taken me here. Oh, you used the J word. The J word. The journey. The journey. The journey. You know, I got to say, Chris, and this is probably one of the oddest things that you've ever heard, but one thing as a disc jockey, as a talk show host, that I wish I could get my hands on is all the Bachelor music. It's classic. Oh, the music is classic. So dramatic. Like, where do you guys... And you've heard it for so long that you could just play it to your listeners, and there we go. Oh, my God, rose ceremony.
Yes. Totally. I'm telling you, man, there's two things that I want. I want all the different music that The Bachelor uses. That's one thing I wish for Christmas. And the other thing that I wish I could get my hands on is a few seasons back when Charlie O'Connell was at, Charlie O'Connell, when he was The Bachelor, there was a real snotty blonde that was on that season. And I don't remember her name. Wasn't Sarah W., I don't think, but she was. Was she real kind of arrogant? Yes. That's Sarah W. Okay, and they were in a beauty parlor, and these two girls start going at it. And one of the girls, the blonde girl, looks at the other girl and says, You're a disaster. You remember a model fell on YouTube like crazy? Right, right. The guy from Heroes was there, and she walks out. That was the same. Are you kidding me?
Oh, I swear to you, that was Sarah W. Obviously, she dyed her hair, and she's a model. And that was the girl that you saw in all the newscasts, like, fall through the stage. So if we YouTube and we search, like... Model falling, it will be that. That's what you'll see, her falling in that hole. Yeah, well... I got, listen, we're going to go on YouTube. I wish we could go on YouTube and find the drop of her saying, you're a disaster. That's crazy. It was some of the greatest television. That season was just, that was an incredible season. But this season apparently was a first ever. The guy says no to both ladies. And tonight it's going to be pretty nuts. Tonight is incredible. I didn't know what we were going to get because I thought, okay, it's been two months. The girls are past it. It's not that big of a deal anymore. Oh, my God. It was terrible. Hey, I got a question. And on top of that, his parents are sitting in the front row. His mom, his brother. That's so uncomfortable. How about her family? How about her family? Are they there or no? No, Deonna's family was not there. Good thing. They'd want to attack him. Yeah, they have a hit out on him. Exactly. Hey, Chris. I did respect the fact, though, that she didn't let him off the hook. She was like, you know, why? Like, how could you have gone that far and not have led me to believe at all?
that this was going to happen. It was kind of fair, but then after a while, she didn't let it go. Chris, have you ever become friends with any of these guys and stayed in touch with any of these guys? Because it seems like, especially when you watch outtakes and stuff like that, that you and these bachelors, you guys tend to get along and seem like you would be friends. It's actually one of the weird aspects of the show that you'll see tonight. We actually brought Tristan and Ryan and their baby Max back. and Byron and Mary, and all of them are really good friends of my wife and I. Andrew Firestone's a very good friend of ours. In fact, we were up at this party they had a couple weeks ago where he just got engaged to his now fiancée, Ivana. I keep in touch with a lot of these people, which is kind of cool. Yeah, I mean, it seems like you guys have gotten to be pretty good friends. It would seem like you would be good friends with them because you seem to get along and stuff, so that's kind of cool. And you can't go through that much. craziness and emotion without getting, you know, but I mean, there's some that it's kind of funny. It's like, uh, I guess like camp where some, some people you click with, some you don't like Charlie O'Connell and I, Lorenzo Borghese, we just, we didn't have a whole lot in common. And I really, I never see or speak to those guys, but some of the guys like Bob Guinea and Byron and Tristan Ryan, I keep in touch with. Well, Chris, of course you didn't have anything in common with Borghese. You mean the Prince of New Jersey?
Hey, it's the Garden State. Don't knock it. Oh, come on. For goodness sake. Oh, my goodness. Well, it's hard to have anything in common with a prince. Right. That was, yeah. A high concept that we tried. Thank you. Not all things work. Yeah, that was the last season. Honestly, I watched The Bachelor right up until Borghese, and I was like, I can't watch it anymore. My wife has stayed true to it since the very first season. She's watched The Bachelor, The Bachelorette. Hey, by the way, speaking of The Bachelorette, whatever became of, not Trista, the first one ever? Who was the first Bachelorette? Trista was our first one. Then Jen Sheft. Yeah. I think I'm thinking of... Jen Sheft. Jen Sheft was the girl that Andrew Firestone broke up with. And then there was the brunette, which was Meredith. That's the one I'm thinking of. Whatever happened to Meredith? Meredith and Ian, they stayed together for a long time. We're living together in Marina del Rey or Venice down here in L.A. And they were together for two or three years and then finally broke up. And I haven't seen either one of them in a while. She seemed like a real sweet girl. She seemed really sweet.
She's pretty down-to-earth. Yeah, she's a Midwestern girl, so she's a pretty cool girl. There's another one I have a question about. There's another girl that I thought was extraordinarily sweet, and she was a brunette. She was from Beverly Hills. Her mother, I think, was deaf. Oh, Bob Guinea season. Yeah. The girl he shows. Yeah. Oh, wow. Estella. Oh, yeah. Do you know whatever became of Estella? I know. I think she's still here in Beverly Hills and just working. But I haven't seen her in a while either. There's some people that are just... It's funny. It's when the parents get divorced, I usually have to choose sides. Yeah. Like a normal child does. Right. In the Andrew Firestone, Jen Sheff divorce, I went with Andrew. And I'm good friends with Bob Guinea and his wife, Rebecca. That is such a trip, man. Really cool, though. Really interesting. And, Chris, it's fun to have you on. You answer every question. That's always really cool. Let me tell you something, guys. Even if you quit watching after Lorenzo, if you're going to watch any TV tonight, watch the interview tonight with Deanna. I'm watching. Listen, I just... Hey, listen, Chris, just playing the clips back, you got me back, you know? Like, just playing the clips were great. It's unbelievable.
It's scary. My skin is crawling just thinking about how uncomfortable I am. I love it. Thank you, Chris. I appreciate it, man. All right, guys. Anytime. We'll see you. It's Chris Harrison. He's cool. Good job, Eddie. Thanks. Eddie got him on the phone right away. Awesome. How cool is it that he keeps in contact with a bunch of them? Yeah. That Andrew Firestone, didn't he actually... He's got a club here in San Diego or a restaurant. Yeah, yeah, a restaurant. Like a nice restaurant in the gas lamp. Gas lamp. What a trip. Alright, here's the stuff that we didn't get to. And I want to get to it before 10.30 because Sean has to bug out at 10.30. Here is Tom Hanks. And he was on the Okra Winfrey show yesterday. It's pronounced Oprah.
We tell you every time. Oprah. Orca. Orca Winfrey. Oprah. No. And here is Tom Hanks joking that he doesn't think that Julia Roberts' baby is really that cute. No. Cut 28. I didn't find Henry as cute as I was thinking. I thought he's small and he smells good. He has an innocent baby-like quality to him. But as far as being, like, off-the-scale cute, I found him to be, you know, like an 8 or a 9 on a scale of 10. You didn't find that little round head where you can't quite tell if he's going to be... Oh, jeez, we've seen them all. That's funny. This is something that I didn't know. He's talking about something bad that happened to him while he was filming Cast Away. Cut 29. Wasn't that hard? Actually, no lie, I almost died. I believe it. You were so slim... I caught a staph infection in Fiji. I had an open sore on my knee. And I didn't pay any attention to it for like a week and a half. And then we came back. My leg hurt. And then I noticed it was kind of swollen. And I went to the doctor one day. And he kind of like looked at it. He says, I have to put you in the hospital as soon as possible. I said, really? Why? He says, well, because you're about an hour away from having blood poisoning that will kill you. Oh, my God. Dude.
Who gets a big giant cut on their knee and ignores it for a week besides Boston Rob? I don't know. That's crazy. I don't know. If you're out there and just filming and working. Your knees open. Listen, I would say to somebody, hey, can you clean this up? Can you get me a little bacteria killer here? Yeah. I'm not saying dude has to go get stitches. I probably wouldn't have. Gross. Not very smart, though. This should be funny. Julia Roberts talking about Tom Hanks. Cut 33. Do not tell me we're going to see Tom and Julia in the bed together. So that was so tastefully done. It was really so tastefully done. It was the afterglow. Yes. Can you imagine, though? People don't want to see us running around in the sheets. They would think it's... They want to see us doing... Doing okay. Our hair will be all messed up. It's not pretty. They're in a movie together? What is it? Polar Express 2? No. Castaway 2? Philadelphia 2? That one was probably double over the top. Sean. I didn't know they were in a movie together. I'm really, really sorry I played that clip. I don't forgive you.
I don't blame you. Charlie Wilson's War? Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, that one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sky has new releases that are out today. Oh, Sky would be cool. Yeah, Sky's got stuff that came out today. All right, here we go. Let's do it. New video games out today. What do we got? Rock Band out for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Lots of cool rock songs on that. Sounds like they're trying to rip off Guitar Hero. Exactly. But it should be cool. Mass Effect for Xbox 360. College Hoops 2K8 for Xbox 360. PS3, PS2. Ghost Squad for the Wii. Time Crisis 4 for the PS3. Avatar The Last Airbender. The Burning Earth for Xbox 360. Soul Caliber Legends for Wii. What, Sean? What is funny? That was just a funny title. It's, like, really long. Soldier of Fortune, Payback for the PS3, and Medal of Honor Airborne for the PS3. Yes. So those are our video games out today. New music out today. We have Jordan Sparks, her self-titled debut CD, out today. She's pretty good. Yeah, I like that first single she's got. Tattoo. Tattoo.
Well, that definitely sounds like a professional pop star. There's no two ways about it. How many more copies is her album going to sell compared to Blake Lewis? Oh, please. Give me a break. Surprisingly, I thought that Blake Lewis song kind of sucked. I did. I mean, I thought it was pretty good, but when we played that song, I was expecting a little bit more. The reviews are bad. Really? Yeah. Yeah, she sounds like a... First of all... She doesn't sound 18 years old. She sounds like she's 31. Sounds like a polished pop star. She sounds like that JoJo chick a little bit. That's who I thought this first was. Really? Yeah. When I first heard this, I was trying to figure it out and I was going through my head. JoJo? The Beyonce's, the Rihanna's. I was trying to figure out who this was. Does JoJo remind you of JoJo? I never came up with a name and then finally I heard it was Jordan Sparks. Yeah, she's good.
All right, also out today we have Frank by Amy Winehouse, which is actually her first album, but it was never released here in the U.S., so it has 10 songs on it, so you can get that out today. I love weed. That's not all you love. Hello. Crack is whacked. Sebastian Bach's solo album, Angel Down, out today. He's coming in the studio. Really? What? I love Sebastian Bach. Yeah, there's a couple tracks on there featuring Axl Rose. One of them is actually a cover of Back in the Saddle. It's a great song, man. Wow, Sebastian. Long time no see. It's good to see you guys. Good to see you too. That whole album rocks. Really? You're going to like the whole thing. Cool. Perfect. That first song, though, rocks. All right. Yeah! There you go, Sebastian. Nice. Back in the day, these guys were great, man. Skid Row? Yeah. Still good. Yeah. Oh, come on. Yeah, crank it up, man. This is a really good one. Cowbell. Cowbell. One of the best male vocalists ever. Yeah. He's got a really, really powerful voice.
Unfortunately, him and the guy that used to write the lyrics, they didn't get along. That's not good. For being honest, he didn't get along with anybody. They never adapted. They never changed with times. They wanted to be Skid Row in 2002. Sean, did you watch that reality show? I think it was called Supergroup. I watched it. You did? Mm-hmm. Oh, I didn't know that. I believe I did, yeah. I'm going to be curious to see if he ever stopped drinking. Oh, yeah. If Sebastian ever stopped drinking, because he drank. It was bad. Didn't Ted Nugent have to sit him down? Yeah, and it was funny because you got the impression that the Nuge just sort of thought that he was going to father him out of drinking. Right, yeah. Good luck. I mean, the guy was clearly an alcoholic, and Ted thought that Just, you know, and you could tell Ted in his mind was like, if I just have a talk with it, I'll get him to stop drinking. Like that's all it was going to take was just a talk. And it looked like, because, you know, Sebastian wanted to let like Uncle Ted help him. So he's like, yeah, you know, I'll stop drinking. No, I think it may take a little bit more than a talk from Uncle Ted.
Also out today in music, John Mayer's album Continuum. They are re-releasing it today, limited edition. It comes with a second disc, which has live versions of some of the songs on the album. Is Continuum the one that has Waiting for the World to Change? Yeah, so Waiting for the World to Change, Dreaming with a Broken Heart, and Gravity. There's live versions of those included with the original. Where's the irony there? How ironic that Sky is announcing in a new release that this song, Waiting for the World to Change, is coming out in CD. And that, we talked earlier today about how that song is always playing when I wake up at 2 a.m. every morning. How bad does she want that to be something? And like, it's such a sign. Does no one see that that's a sign? How badly does she want one example that she gives to actually be ironic? That's true. That's a good point. Also out today, we have OneRepublic with their album Dreaming Out Loud. Is that the one that you did the creepy dance to? Well, it wasn't creepy. It was a wonderful dance. The one that Elvira thought was creepy? And yes, it has the version with Timbaland and then it also has their original version on there. The one where John Mark Carr was like, ew. You know what? Say all you want because the professional dancers liked it. So your stupid comments don't matter. Go ahead.
I'd like to see any of you do better. The one that gave Lurch the shivs. Oh, you're all so funny. The one that scared Buffalo Bill straight. What is that song? Apologize. Apologize. That's ironic. It's on the wall, Mike. There it is. It's called Lyrical. If you knew anything about dance, you would know that. On the floor to reenact it. Really obnoxious. That's not nice. The professional dancers liked it. Not creepy enough. Can we get back to the new releases, please? Please. Also out today, we have Keith Urban, Greatest Hits. Nice! We have The Gorillas with D-Sides today. Greatest Hits by the Spice Girls out today. We have Joshua Tree remastered and expanded for the 20-year anniversary. Give me a break. Like, they need more money?
Well, no, I think it's cool. What are they going to do? It has some B-sides and rarities from the Joshua Tree sessions that people haven't heard before. We already heard what it sounds like when you remaster stuff. Like nothing. Here's Over the Hills and Far Away. Here's the remastered one. Can't you hear the difference? Here's the original. And here's the remastered one. Again, the original. And the remastered one. Oh, big difference. And then finally, if you're a Genesis fan, today's a good day for you. Me too, I love Genesis. They're putting out a box set, five CDs, five DVDs. It's 1983 through 1998 Genesis. Yes, Invisible Touch. And then also out today is... They use a good one in that video for... If you watch football, you know the one where the Chevy truck is crashing through the different walls?
And as it crashes through each wall, it becomes like a newer truck. Starts out with an old one, gets new. They use the song Turn It On by Genesis in that. And it's pretty awesome. Is that on there? Do you see it on there? What's it called? Turn It On. Let's see if we have it. Yeah, we do. It's this song. My brother Mark one day said, wouldn't it be great to be Phil Collins for just a day? He said that. Those words actually said that. It's a true story. Wow. Mike Rutherford. That would be Peter Gabriel and myself. Yeah, I guess any of Mike and the Mechanics would be. One of the Mechanics. One of the Mechanics. Oh, that's fun. I'm all in on that. I don't see that song in the box set, but also out today is Genesis Live Over Europe 2007, and that is on that. Oh, yeah. Sweet. And it's all live. Yes. The Live Over Europe one, not the box set. Whoa. You see what I'm saying? Yeah, you don't have to scream at me. Okay. And then finally. You're like yelling at the top of your lungs.
Finally, DVDs out today. Hurry up. I'm sorry. There's a lot of stuff out today. What do you want from me? Okay, new DVDs out today. We have Live Free or Die Hard. Great movie. Great movie, right, Mike? Come on, you guys. Great movie. Mike was a huge fan. It's a rollercoaster ride. Yep. I'll buy it. I'll buy it. You'll buy it? I will buy it. You hated it. I did hate it. I did hate it. Why would you buy it? Visually, it's stunning. Yeah. Okay. But I hated it. I thought it was so stupid. It was great. But I do want to put certain scenes on. The surround sound. Because certain scenes were really great. A F-14 fighter plane crash landing on the freeway is stupid. What about when he drives the police car up the ramp into the helicopter? That's infuriating. That was balls. I heard that really happen. That was awesome. It's infuriating. You're crazy, man. So good. All right. Also out today, we have hairspray. Anyone? You've been waiting for that. John Travolta cross-dressing. Maybe not. Maybe Eddie will be into the Santa Claus 3, the escape clause. Maybe not. He just flipped her off. Say those words. All right, TV shows coming to DVD today. We have CSI, the seventh season. Crime Scene Investigation, seventh season. Well, aren't there different ones? There's like CSI Miami. We get it. You guys figure stuff out.
Gene Simmons, Family Jewels, the second season. Mission Impossible, the third TV season. Teen Titans, the complete fourth season. Is he serious? The DC Comics Kids Collection? You don't care about that? No. And then finally, Shawnee O'Boy. He's a Marvel guy. Star Trek, the original series, the complete first season. HD, DVD, and regular DVD out today. Sean signed off eight minutes ago. But it should have been one minute ago. Okay, thank you. Enjoy. CML says, subject is rock band. Rock band is actually made by the people who made Guitar Hero. They're trying to evolve the game and add in drums and vocals alongside the guitar. Nice. Nerd alert. This subject is, didn't Sky star in that? It says, didn't Sky star in the movie Three Men in a Bathhouse? That's... It's so stupid you chose to read it. I'm just reading it. You'll read anything on the air. I previewed that. You probably wrote that. Mikey, Rob's turkey is the grossest thing I've ever eaten, signed Andrew Zimmern. Not true. Dear Rob,
How can you be so careless when other people are putting their trust in you? Listen to people's good advice and apply it. Sincerely, Britney Spears. P1 Kevin. Subject is, I like homemade cranberry sauce. My sister makes a sauce that has crushed pineapple, small chunks of apples, and walnuts. That sounds rad. That sounds delicious. Does it have the ridges? I don't want it. I don't want it. This is going all the way back to the conversation that we had about people that show up to parties, bring alcohol, it doesn't get drank, and they take it with them. It says, what if I'm going to a regular UFC or poker event with my normal group of friends and I take my own cooler with me? I always take my own cooler because I drink like 18 beers on occasion. Bigger issues here. And there's never fridge space. So when I take my cooler home, the beer goes with it. Is that rude or no? The answer is no, that is not rude. That is a problem. Thank you. Wow. There you go. So here are the things that we learned today. Yeah. We learned that Sky gets pooped on by bees. True. Zeth is clinically depressed.
Wait. When did we learn that? Well, he goes to sleep at 2 in the afternoon and wakes up the next morning. That means you're depressed? Well, usually. Or tired. Real sleepy. I guess real sleepy. Tired of life. Save that clip. This is a good promo. Rob's Thanksgiving is still a disaster. What else did we learn today? Ashley wakes up at the same time, 2 o'clock in the morning, and thinks that she needs to change the world. Because of the song that is always playing when I wake up. John Mayer, Waiting for the World to Change. Really ironic. It's very ironic. Is that John Mayer? Yeah, it's John Mayer, isn't it? It's not. I've been waiting. Yeah. Waiting. That's why we were talking about the CD. Remember the ironic part? The reissued today. Oh, I was thinking John Legend. Sorry. My bad. I got confused. Didn't she say that the other day, too, and she didn't get it? Sorry.
That is it. Yeah, and then I turn over and I go... Get off me, Kitty McMill. Oh, no, I love it. And then I turn over and I go... Here's my bottle. What did you just say, Mikey? I have a baby bottle. With my milk. That guy. Hey! Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh, Eddie. Oh, my gosh. Eddie's getting in the safe chair. He's getting in the... Yeah, he should stay. Eddie just mouthed the bad word because he knows he's good. It's a good thing somebody's getting on a flight today to get out of town. Eddie just gave me a thumbs up on that one. I'd rather take on Al Qaeda. Chance would be better. I think I'm going to change the route. I'm sorry. That's a good joke. You didn't know who it was. I'll explain after. I don't understand. Like at all. You know.
It's kind of along the same lines. How? Paris Hilton. Mike. No, no, no, no. You're making it worse. You are making it worse. I am making it worse. I shouldn't have said it's along the same lines. It's not along the same lines. Not even close. It's not along the same lines. Too late. Okay, 50 Cent says there's a double standard with language and music and that why does he get in trouble for having a record coming out called I'm Still a Killer? I Still Kill. Oh, I Still Kill? Yeah. Whoa. The album he put out is called I Still Kill? Well, it's a song, and it was originally called I Still Kill, but MTV wouldn't go for that, so he had to change it to I Still Will. But then he's peeved because he says, and then the video that comes on after his is one from The Killers, and that's appropriate. But his language isn't appropriate, but Britney Spears can say, I'm Britney, bitch, and that's appropriate.
How crazy is it that he has a song called I Still Kill? Like, that's shocking. So he says there's always more pressure on hip-hop music. It's the stepchild of the entertainment world. Oh, my goodness. He's allowed. I mean, you could do it. It's just, hey, it's shocking. Paris Hilton says that she, a lot of times that guys will get upset with her because, like, It takes four dates to just, like, get a kiss. Yeah, she goes on to say that she has a theory about why her relationships don't last. And she says, you know, guys get upset because it's been, like, four months and they're only getting a kiss. But I have some videos that say otherwise. That was after nine years. Oh, it was? Yeah, uh-huh. Of dating. Yeah, started dating that guy in utero. How can she say that? She said it.
She's allowed to say it. Must be true, Eddie. Well, hasn't she said she's only slept with two people? Did she say that? Something like that, yeah. But I have videos. Well, that was one of the two. That was one of the two. There's more. No, but that was just one of the two. Right. Did you guys know there's going to be a celebrity apprentice? Really? Yeah. Read the cast, guy. No, with Donald Trump and the whole thing? Yeah, Donald Trump. It starts January 3rd on NBC, and basically the celebrities are playing to win $250,000 for charity. Okay, who are they? Vincent Pastore. That's Big Pussy from The Sopranos. Stephen Baldwin. That is an actor that has not had a lot of success. Gene Simmons. He is a has-been rock star that will sell his name to anything to make money. Nellie Gallin. I have no idea who that is. Former entertainment president of Telemundo and was executive producer of The Swan. Oh, come on. What? That's a celebrity? Yeah. That's not right. Mary Lou Henner.
Mary Lou Henner. She advocated not using food coloring. Famous for that. She's very famous for advocating that you do not put food coloring in. Sky's mom was on the Mary Lou Henner show. And she will be on Celebrity Apprentice to talk about food coloring. No, she will not. She will just be competing for charity. Her charity is Dr. Feingold. How's that fair? Omarosa, she's famous for being on The Apprentice, though. That's how she got famous. What is this? Apprentice All-Stars? Well, she's the only apprentice. Oh, that's lame. Carol Alt. Oh, she was the mom on Brady Bunch. No. No. How's that? She's a supermodel. Okay. Back in, like, 1960. Trace Adkins. Trace Adkins. Is that the one that used to have a... Oh, that's very different from what I thought. Not the diet, no. Nadia Comaneci, Olympic gold medalist, gymnast. Okay. Tiffany Fallon. Ah, yes. Teen pop star. No. Playboy. I think we're alone now. Playboy Playmate of the Year. She did that, too. She actually did. Well, okay. Jenny Finch. Oh, cool. Ah, Jenny Finch. Olympic softball gold medalist. When she in sales at KSJL. No. Oh, my gosh. Jenny Finch is hot. Yeah, she's really pretty. Lennox Lewis.
Whoa. Wasn't he in sales at KSJL? He actually was. Piers Morgan. Oh, yeah. Bond. James Bond. No. No. Piers Bond. America's Got Talent judge. Got it. And finally, Tito Ortiz. I know him. UFC. Tito Ortiz? Tito Ortiz. Yep. How's he going to do on that? Weird. So January 3rd, NBC. Now I have to watch. 570-1053. Give us a call. Beginning and end of every show. Uh. And the only last thing that I didn't mention is that Mary-Kate Olsen has a kidney infection. That's the news. Lots of cranberry. There you go. 570-1053 is the number. Beginning and end of every show, you can call in about anything you want. P1 Penguin, what's up? Hey, guys. Hi. I had that idea about the taste test for the cranberry sauce. It was a really good idea, so I wanted to offer up my homemade cranberry sauce. Please do. Yeah. Can you do that? Uh-huh. Yeah. Will you bring it in tomorrow? Yeah, sure.
Yeah, let's do a taste test tomorrow, because I've never had the canned kind. You've never had the canned kind, so should I bring canned as well as my own? Oh, yeah. If you're willing to, that'd be great. Sure. Arnold. Cool. Hang on the line. Awesome. Love you. Ashley really likes penguins. A little bit. And talking. Both true. Mikey Show, hello. What's up, dude? Hey, what's going on? I realize why Zach sleeps so much. What is it? He just realized he found out he's gay. It doesn't even make sense. He cracked Eddie up, but it doesn't even make sense. Get a brain aneurysm. Thank you, sir. Oh, wow. Over the top, Seth. Over the top, Seth. He just goes, he takes it and he goes over the top. Mikey Show, hello. Yes. Mikey Show, hello. Last call. Hey, I was wondering if you guys got any information on the toll charges for the 125 that's coming up.
Didn't it open today, Sky? No, it opened yesterday, and I read different things. Some said 75 cents all the way to 350, depending on time of day and how far you're driving. There you go. Okay, thank you. Also, Rock Before Christmas has been postponed. Ozzy has a stomach virus, and so they postponed it till December 2nd. I'm not feeling well. December 2nd show. So you don't need to do anything. Just bring your tickets. Bring your stupid tickets. Okay. The rock before axes. I know. Axe before Christmas. Lovely and talented Missy is up next.
