It's 6.05. Britney Spears, a lawyer, was in court yesterday trying to prevent child and family services from having access to court documents. Tragedy strikes the NFL. The Redskins safety, Sean Taylor, passes away early this morning at the age of 24 from the gunshot wound at his house in Miami. It's so brutal because he was such a talented kid, man. I would think that the top entertainment story of the day would be the fact that Xtreme says that they're going to reunite. Oh, my God. Right? Wow. That hit me like a punch to the eye. How did I not leave that? Wow. I'm surprised it's not the top, you know, news story. I mean, I really thought Nuno Betancourt was really busy. How dare you? Okay, we get it. Whoa. I think Darren Wisely on bass was probably made up. Okay. But not bad, right? Not bad. Darren Wisely. Pat Badger. Yeah.
Duh. How come every single one of us listening right now liked this song? I still do. So good. Every one of us. There is not one of us listening right now that didn't like this song. I have no shame. If you say you did, you're a liar face. For sure. Catch on fire. Like there's some guy right now and he's like, I didn't like it. And I'm like, you're a liar face. Yes, you did. You know the words. Everyone knows the words. Sing along. And if that guy goes, oh, the only reason I know the words is because they played it all the time on the radio. You could have changed it. You couldn't. You couldn't change it. You didn't want to. You didn't want to change it. Come on. Give me a break. Gorgeous. So we can expect a brand new album and a world tour from Extreme. Let's go. They were asked why they decided to come back. And they said that there was a rock and roll famine going on. And they were going to come back and give people something to eat.
Yes. That's funny. What were their other hits? Get the Funk Out. Maybe this album will be Get the Funk Out 2. Thank you. What a way to wake up. That wholehearted. Yeah, that was a great one. Yes. Wholehearted. I farted. Wait, Eddie. Come on, everyone. It's 1991. Eat up. That recording session must have went off. Yeah. Can you imagine? It was there. Oh, yeah. Oh, your belly with this tasty lick. Oh, the stink of cologne must have been so strong in that. What was it? Stetson? Dude, it was like a mixture of just different colognes. You know, Gary Cherone probably had to have, like, incense in there, too. That's Nuno.
Oh, is that Nuno right there? That's Nuno. Is that Nuno? Thanks, Eddie. That's him again. Okay, Eddie. Boy. It's awesome. Cut it off at the best part. Yeah, get it, Mikey. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Nice. So good. You're so good. I'm full. There you go. There you go. I'm kidding, dude. That's just the appetite. I know. I'm good. I don't know why. So there you go. That's really all the information we needed to get out. Wrap it up. Extreme's getting back together. 570-1053 is our phone number. And you can call us right now. And you can call us at the end of the show. At the beginning and end we do just open phones so you can call about anything you want. My name's Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Eddie's our producer. He is also our sports guy. Sky does news for us.
Sean is our sound effects man. Ashley is our assistant producer. Rob screens phone calls and also tastes weird foods. And Zeth is... Where is Zeth? Zeth's our utility guy. He does everything, including just getting beat up by us. Yesterday, he stepped in dog poop outside the radio station. I was like, you know, I mean, seriously, it's like living out Charlie Brown's life. Uh-huh. But then, he's such an idiot, he brings the shoe in and walks into the office where me and Sky are sitting and goes, hey guys, look what I did. You're like, get out! Get out of here! He was like hoping for sympathy from us and Eddie starts screaming at him to get out. Eddie just said that and I just shook my head. I shook my head. You're not Pigpen, you're Charlie Brown. Oh, come on, Charlie Brown.
Hey, where's the list of the Christmas stuff coming on TV? Eddie, could you find your show? No, it's infuriating. But then I also noticed that they didn't have the Grinch on there. So it's a flawed list. Oh, great. Your list is flawed. I can't imagine that they are not going to show those. Well, yeah, Santa Claus is coming to town. The greatest Christmas special of all time with Burger Meister, Meister Burger. There'll be no toys for Christmas this year. Oh, nice. One foot in front of the other. And soon you'll be walking out the door. Wow, good job, Eddie. Get up there and get it. Great. Well, they do have some good ones. They got Frosty the Snowman. What's the name of the guy that created these, Eddie? Rankin Smith. Rankin Smith. And you know everything. I own the DVDs. It's great. I'm going to pop them in this weekend when I put up the decorations. No. It's these old claymation deals. Yeah, they're kind of creepy. Excuse me? Whoa. Oh. Frosty the Snowman. He's back. White Christmas. That's another one, right, Eddie? Or no, that's a movie. That's Bing Crosby. Let's see. Which other ones do we have by ranking? Little Drummer Boy? Little Drummer Boy is one. Okay, Rudolph. Little Drummer Boy, a lesser known one. Probably fourth on the scale. But your favorite is... On what scale? Santa Claus Coming to Town, right? On awesomeness scale. Santa Claus Coming to Town, number one. Rudolph, number two. Little Drummer Boy, where's he rate? I would probably put that fourth.
Frosty isn't a Rankin Smith, but I would put it third because it's just enjoyable. I'm looking on here. I don't see any other ones. Oh, no. What am I saying? Grinch, obviously. Grinch 3. Grinch 3, for sure. Rudolph 4. Love Grinch. Yeah. Own that as well. On DVD. I love Christmas. Yes. This weekend is some stuff. We gotcha. This weekend's a Radio City Christmas Spectacular, which they've been doing 157 years at Radio City. They break out those old Rockettes. It's true. Same night, new All-Star Holiday dishes on FoodNet. Then I'm looking ahead. Nothing good till December 4th, which is Tuesday. Next Tuesday, Rudolph. Next Wednesday, t'was the night before Christmas. Oh, yeah. Next Friday, Frosty the Snowman. Next Sunday. That stuff looks good. Grinch has got to be the next couple of weeks. I think it's on TBS. And then you've got Christmas Story coming up. Yeah, that is Christmas Eve, Christmas Story. It'll be on PBS. PBS or TBS? TBS. You see that every year. They have like a marathon usually. You know, I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart.
I haven't watched all the way through either. I haven't either. Always get bored. Not our generation. What's the idea? That the guy gets down on his luck and then at the end he realizes it's all about family? He wishes that he didn't have his life and they show what his life would be like if he wasn't around or something like that and then magically comes back. Have they updated that in the last 15 years with a... Like with Chris Rock. Have they done that yet? And Cedric the Entertainer. He's the angel. Thank you. Exactly. You know that's coming. You know that's coming. You know what looks really good to me, by the way? That I am legend. Oh, dude, I want to go so bad. Talk about it. Well, first of all, I'm going to say this. That Will Smith is so smart, man. Because nobody opens movies like Will Smith. Like, that guy opens movies like nobody's beeswax. And so, I bet you he set some sort of record. Just saying that, everybody in the room was like, what are you going to do, though, that you can't go to the movies? Well, yeah, I announced yesterday, I am not, I'm never going to the movie theater again. I am never going to the movie theater again.
Unless something really good comes out like I am. Wow. But I'm telling you, man, other than... You're taking a stand. Let me put it this way. Let me put it to you this way. And I hope that somebody in the entertainment industry is listening. Unless it's a movie I want to see, I will not go. You tell them, Mike. I'm kidding. I'll put it in writing. Yep. That I Am Legend looks great. I'm so fascinated by Last Man on Earth stuff. For some reason, I've read a lot of books about it. This movie looks awesome to me. The creatures. You know what I'm fascinated by? I'm fascinated by Empty Big Cities. That is so cool to me. That's so cool. It's that kind of stuff. My wife refuses to go see that movie because she can't handle the concept of They're being a last person on Earth. Oh, I love it. I love it. And my brother Steve says it's that same concept of what I'm talking about. It's kind of a remake of Omega Man. The movie Omega Man, which I've never seen. And he gets into this whole, oh, you have to see the original. It's like the Poseidon adventure when Poseidon came out. Oh, you have to see the original. And I go, you know what? Really, I'm good. Have you ever seen Poseidon?
No, the original. The original's good. I own it. The original's good. I like that. But he's so pushy. Turns you off? Oh, it turns me off. Because he wants me to see it right then. He's like Mark with Happy Feet. That's terrible. 5701053. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, how's it going? Good. I don't know why... Sean didn't get good service at that restaurant the other day. Yeah, Sean got terrible service at a restaurant. Yeah, I used to be a waiter, and I know that a lot of the restaurants are down here in San Diego, almost all of them. I don't know how things work up in San Francisco, but it's considered a health code violation to serve pandas. That's true. That's true. I actually congratulate him for putting his paw down and demanding service. Oh. I didn't completely swallow the hook. It's more in my throat. It definitely wasn't like, I'm not going to lie and say, oh, it just caught me on the lip. It didn't make it to my stomach, but he definitely got me on that one. For sure. Thank you. Appreciate it. P1 T-Rex. Hey, what's happening, guys? What's going on? Hey, not much. Hey, I heard your Troy Aikman interview yesterday. I got an awesome story for you. I met him in 94.
At the Pro Bowl. And the worst story is me and my wife was at a nice restaurant. And there was like three autographs I wanted to get. His and Jerry Rice was one of the autographs that I wanted to get in Junior State House. Anyway, me and my wife all day was trying to get his autograph. Couldn't find him, couldn't get his autograph. Went out to dinner that evening. Real nice restaurant, suit and tie only. So me and my wife sitting down. in a corner booth starting to eat dinner. Just a couple of players come in. I said, oh, there's a couple of players from the Dallas team. Next thing you know, Troy Aikman walks in. I was like, oh, my God, honey, I've got to get his autograph. She was like, what are you talking about? There's Troy Aikman right there. I was like, uh. And my hotel was probably like five blocks away. I said, honey, okay, I've got to go. So I ran to my hotel in my suit and tie, went up to the 14th floor,
Got my Troy Aikman's jersey. Put it on underneath of my suit and tie. Went all the way back to the dinner spot. Opportunity where I can kind of corner him and get his autograph. So meanwhile, sitting there eating dinner. Because people love to be cornered. Very comfortable. Very comfortable. I know. But I was just one of his big fans. Of course. And that makes it okay. Yeah, I know. So what happened next? So anyway, I see him going to the bathroom. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. I got him now. Don't do it. I got him now. Oh, no. I got him. So I said, okay, honey, I got to go. I see him going to the bathroom. I give him a minute or two. I get up. Going to the bathroom. It's very courteous, by the way. Do my thing as he's doing this thing.
Standing next to him, you know, sitting in a stall next to him, looking out. Hey, how's it going, Troy? Can you imagine you're standing at a stall, and here's this guy next to you, and he's like, hey, how are you? While you're trying to urinate. I didn't realize he was a pretty big guy. Is that right? He was a pretty big guy. It's a family show, bro. It's a family show. Hello. Anyway. So meanwhile, we finish up, wash our hands or whatever. After we're starting to leave, I said, hey, Troy, you know, can I get your autograph? He looked at me and was like, okay, you know, you got a piece of paper or something? I said, no. So I put my Superman thing on, pulled my soap in. And he looked at me and said, this has got to be the one of the craziest places I ever did a signing for. He wrote his name on my jersey, and to this day I have it framed in my pool room. Well, there you go. There you go. And a great story. Mission accomplished. He was one of the nicest guys. He was awesome. It sounds like he is. He was real nice. Thank you, T-Rex. For about 15, 20 minutes afterwards. Thank you. Wow. Now, T-Rex, you realize that makes you that guy. Yeah. Now you're that guy that'll go into the bathroom next to Celebrity, you know. All right, T-Rex, thanks. It takes brass balls. Of course it does. P1 Vinny.
Yeah. Vinny, what's a P1? P1 is somebody that turns the radio down, gets right to the point, doesn't cut, and promotes Mikey's show to get more P1. Ah, that's right. Awesome! So what's up, Vinny? I just wanted to add to your Christmas movie list that your boy Seth, a.k.a. Charlie Brown, will be on tonight. Right. That's about it. There you go. Charlie Brown Christmas on tonight. All right. Nice work. Thanks. All right. Happy holidays. You too. I'm wondering how old my son, Jake, will have to be before he starts to get it. He's not getting it yet. He's only 14 months old. He'll be 15 months old here in a week or so. But as soon as he does, I want him to watch all that stuff. Oh, yeah. P1 Chuck. Yeah. What's up? What's up, Chuck? That's funny. Yes. Hey, this is P1 Chuck.
All right, let's see you later, Chuck. What's up, Chuck? No, but he's out. It can only take so much time, you know. There's only so much time in a day. That's the problem. In a 24-hour time period, you've only got so much of it to use for the radio program. Sky was telling me that I guess there's this guy named Maxim Shermovsky. Yeah, pretty good. Or Shermerkovsky? Well said. Is he a dancer, ballet? What does he do? Well, he's one of the professional dancers on Dancing with the Stars. Is he real handsome? I would say he's more handsome out of all the guys. Has a woman that's dancing with him left her husband for him yet? He is a gay man. I don't know. Oh, he's gay?
He is a gay man. Wasn't he gay? He's the one that was hooking up with... Singer, rocker, bad girl, chick. They always do. On Dancing with the Stars, somebody leaves somebody for that. I would never let my wife go on Dancing with the Stars. Are you kidding? How many seasons does that show have left before husbands and wives decide it can't happen? Anyway, this guy Maxim, he's one of the professional dancers. doesn't think marie osmond deserves to be in the finals and he said it cut 17. at schmerkovsky mel b's partner is sounding off on why he thinks marie osmond doesn't deserve to be in the finals frankly i think there's a lot of other people better than marie he says marie is relying on the sympathy factor after a season of osmond family drama i know firsthand that
There's a lot of other celebrities on the show that went through somewhat similar situations this season, and they just decided not to make it public. So, you know, for her to, oh, the dead father, the son, the rehab, you know, who cares already? Why don't you get over yourself? Yeah, you see my giant crocodile tears coming for you. Oh. I'm crying so hard for you and your family. Yeah, oh, dad is dead. Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo. Boo-hoo-hoo. Boo-hoo-hoo. Yeah, you can cry your way all the way to the dance camp, okay? Dance camp. Terrible. Why do you want the tears to come out of my eyes? Boo-hoo for you. Yeah, I almost cried. Who else has had real tragedy happen on the show? Well, he says they decided not to make it public. Well, Jane Seymour lost her mom. Oh, that's right. This season? Yeah. What about that? Hey, you know, okay, so you have one more because the son is in the rehab, but...
What about the Jane Seymour? Plus, she has one blue eye and one brown eye. Doesn't that count for something? No. Plus, she's not nearly as fat as you. Yeah. Where's the crybabies for her? Yeah. How come she not get credit for the... Who was that died? Somebody. Somebody died? Wow. No tears, huh? Nothing. Nothing should account for some voting. Tell you what, secret police is going to come to your house. This very moment I'm speaking to you, I have the ED. The what? The ED. I take the Cialis for it once in the night time. And then the doctor says, careful of the blood pressure with this medication. How is that relevant? It's relevant because we all have our estials. Neither is mine. No tears for me. Who's crying for me with my ED? I'm sorry. Thank you. And no votes for you. P1Ozzy's on the line. Hi, Ozzy. Hey, Mike. How you doing? What's up? Not much. Hey, I heard you guys talking about I Am Legend earlier on the radio.
You know, the actual book that was written in the 70s, you can download it on iTunes if you guys want to check it out. I downloaded and listened to it. It's pretty cool. Like a book's on tape? Yeah, I mean, you can get it for like iPod or whatnot, but if you got iTunes, you can just download it. I mean, I know you got to pay through iTunes and all that stuff, but you can get it and actually listen to it if you want to. And the book's good? Yeah, it's pretty, I like it. I mean, I'm kind of into that stuff like Eddie was talking about, you know, Last Man on Earth and all that, but... Stuff's cool. I won't tell anybody what the monsters are that are in it, but you guys got to check it out. It'll probably be a good movie. I'm not sure, though. That's cool. Thanks. Yeah, no problem. Take it easy. You know, they got a new way to read books. It's called Kindle, and it isn't cheap, but they say it's going to be the new iPod. It's on the cover of Newsweek right now. That's crazy. Yeah, this guy that founded Amazon.com is the guy that created it. His name is Jeff Bezos. Cut 41. Amazon Kindle is reading books, magazines, newspapers, blogs. Think of a book and you can be reading it in a minute. That's Amazon Kindle. Kindle brings together a few things that really make it work. We use a new kind of display technology called electronic ink. Everybody does a double take the first time they see the display because it doesn't look like any computer screen you've ever seen. It looks like paper.
Wireless is an essential feature because you can do something with wireless that you could never do with a physical book. That is that you can get a new book in less than a minute wherever you happen to be. He's putting me to sleep. They need a new pitch guy. Somebody with a little energy. Yeah, so it's about $400. $399. But, I mean, it's huge. It's a huge gift for this Christmas. And if you go to Amazon right now, they say due to heavy customer demand, Kindle is temporarily sold out. Because we ship Kindles on first-come, first-served basis, please order now to reserve your place in line. So right now you have to get on a waiting list to get one of these. So let me get this straight. It's like a device? Yeah, it's a device. Like an iPod. Yeah, and it's even kind of tapered, Eddie, like a book is, you know? Like if you're holding a paperback, you know how the paperback... you kind of bend it it tapers it's like even shaped kind of like a book i was telling boston rob about it the other day and i know he's going to be really disappointed what you just what that guy just said because rob goes that would be like i'm gonna invent that for magazines right but apparently the kindle does it for magazines even newspapers check this out
Like, let's say that you like the San Jose Mercury News and you want to stay in touch with what's happening in the Bay Area. Right. Or let's say you just moved here from Chicago and you loved the Tribune. You want to be able to still read it. It's like a virtual newspaper kid throwing the paper at you every day. It automatically downloads the paper every day wirelessly for you. And when you wake up, it's just there. That's cool. You don't have to go out in the cold. You just read it. Get it off your porch. Yeah, and you get papers from all over the place. I love it. It's wireless. Looks like it's pretty easy to use. Yeah, because there's other things that have been on the market, like the digital books, but those you actually have to insert little cards to or download things with cables and wires, and they didn't do the newspapers and all those other magazines and stuff. I don't know how this works, but they said that you don't have to be in a place that offers Wi-Fi. What? To get it. I'm like, how does that work? This device is supposed to be like the iPod. It's supposed to change stuff. It's supposed to be... Oh, it uses the same high-speed network as advanced cell phones, so you never have to locate a hotspot. That's pretty awesome. So you could be sitting... Awesome! So let me get this straight. So you could be sitting in a parking lot somewhere, and you're bored, and you get your Kindle.
And you're like, you know what? I feel like reading Car and Driver. And you can download it in a couple of seconds and start reading Car and Driver? Wow, that's what it sounds like. Yeah, it holds over 200 titles. There's more than 88,000 books available for it. Pretty cool, man. Maybe that guy can lull us to sleep and tell us more about it later. It's true, Mike. Ashley, will you start reading now, you think, on a regular basis? Start getting some books? Catcher in the Rye. Yeah. Ash. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Be real easy for you. Yeah. You can download it real easy, carry it with you wherever you go. Definitely. Cat Matt. That's right. Well, screw you. Well, you still have never heard of it. It's a Judy Blume book. It is not. Does it do pop-up books? Ash. We're going to play Wuss Rock Jukebox this hour. Great. Sounds fun. This hour, we're going to do that.
Dr. Phil was in the lobby as I was walking in selling fake Rolexes out of a briefcase. And he had on baggy pants, a New York Yankees hat tipped to the side, and a basketball jersey for the Knicks. Did you buy one? I did. I'm wearing it right now. Oh, it just fell off. Yeah, it says 12 a.m. It won't move from that. Darn it. But anyway, what the point is, Dr. Phil is here. He's in the house. He's here. He's in the house tonight. That's right. So we might be seeing Dr. Phil later. He's here. He's in the house tonight. I wonder if we will. Cell phone mishaps is on the show today. This is where you call us and tell us about how somebody accidentally called you. didn't realize or you did and you said things that you wish that you hadn't said i almost wanted to and i almost intentionally did a cell phone mishap over the weekend because you wanted to communicate something but didn't have the guts to do it like i was yeah i had sorry rob no who were you gonna do it to well i was gonna my friend was breaking up with her boyfriend and she was really upset she was saying all these really powerful things that i was like gosh you know this would really have him maybe forgive her
I should call him right now, and then he could hear all of this without her knowing or him knowing. And then I was trying to be a matchmaker, but then I didn't. What did she do to mess it up so bad? She got blacked out and slapped him. Well, yeah, he should definitely take that kind of girl back. Oh, wow. It's too bad you didn't convince them. Those two lovebirds. Well, they're meant for each other. I mean, she was having what I thought was a breakthrough in admitting that she has a drinking problem and that she wants to change, and I wanted to get it all on tape. Right, but then it turned out, you know. Then I was like, whatever. It was hormonal. So she had a drink. How about this one? We got an email from P1 Amanda, and she says that if you are a woman, and you are 25 or over, and you have a tongue piercing, you are, and I'm using her words, not mine, a loser. So, we'll get into that. We gotta do P1 trivia. We gotta get somebody to come into the studio on Friday, so we'll do P1 trivia today as well. We got a ton of stuff. Don't go anywhere. Brian Regan in the stand-up spotlight. The Mikey shows.
You ever just look at an ironing board? Can you imagine getting that approved in today's safety conscious world? What did you want to get an approval on? I call it an ironing board. I want to have like a surfboard shaped device about this high and I want to support it with two thin crisscrossing poles so the center of gravity is precariously high so the slightest nudge would be sure to topple it. Then I want to put a big hot metal thing on the top of that. With water, the temperature of lava oozing out the sides, dripping off the board for burn wounds. I want one side to be a white hot heat for scarring. I want the sheer weight to be able to cause blunt force trauma. And I want the whole thing to come to a point for puncture wounds. Overall, still looking at a pretty nice ride out here. There is an accident in Southbound 5 being reported near La Costa Avenue here, so watch for a few breaklights around that area. South 15, seeing some heavy stuff now from the 78th of Rio Rancho Parkway. You're working your way out of Escondido, way out in the East County and Del Zuro on the 94 King Freeway. Just west of Summit Road, we have a bad accident here with one-way traffic control, so expect some delays in that area. And North Eagle 5 out of the South Bay, starting to see a few breaklights around Imperial Avenue. Slows again through North Park, and now one more time out of Kearney Mace, level 52. I like all types of foods.
I have no food allergies. Eddie. Kevin Federline is my hero. Sky. Hosts are important to me. Sean. I do not mind. Needles. Boston Rob. Tell me something about you, Rob. The scariest movie ever made to me is The Exorcist. And Ashley. I fit inappropriately in dresses. On Rock 105.3. Welcome back. It is 642. The zoo announced the name for the new panda cub. Her name is Shendi. Shen, which means precious. That's very close to Sean. She's a girl. Mission accomplished. We won. To watch Monday Night Football last night, wow, bad weather and horrible field conditions led to the lowest scoring game in Monday Night Football history as Pittsburgh beat Miami 3-0. Oh. Jimmy Winehouse has disappointed fans again. I have information on that coming up a little bit later on.
Amy, she's not doing too good. She's not well right now. She's got some issues going on, is what I'm trying to say. The subject is I Am Legend. Mikey, it's true that I Am Legend is a remake of Omega Man. What a lot of people don't know is that Omega Man was based on the book I Am Legend. It's written by Richard Matheson in 1954. The book is the sole reason Stephen King started writing, he says. Wow. P1 Josh. So he must have dug it. He must be looking forward to it. I hope I'm not speaking out of school by talking about this, but our friend Eddie has the strangest injury right now that I've... Right? He has the strangest injury. Yeah. He hurt himself sneezing. It happened to Sammy Sosa, so it could happen to anybody. What? Did you break your rib? Yeah, what did you do?
I actually do think I may have torn cartilage in my ribcage. Are you kidding? I was sitting awkwardly and I sneezed. What does that mean? I was sitting like a gymnast. My legs were behind my head. Don't ask me what I was doing. That was unfortunate. I know I definitely have a pulled muscle but I may have torn some cartilage because every time I breathe or laugh or cough it kills me. That's so stupid. Has anybody else done that? Like, not that one specifically, but something weird like that? I have. What'd you do? Ash? Ash? I've given myself a black eye. You have? Ash! Yeah. Gave myself a shiner. You were fed up with yourself? No. Is this one of those deals where ladies say this all the time? I have to have a breast reduction. I either need to do that or I need to get like one of those running bras, a jogging bra. I don't think that's what she's saying. Tough love it is. Tough love. That is not the deal? You didn't do it with your breasts. No. Oh, I totally thought that's where she was going. Yeah, well, the reason is because you always see those women that say I have to have a breast reduction. Where do you always see those women? They.com. They gave them stuff. They say that all the time.
breath i'm gonna give myself a black eye yeah that never just one more time was it during the volleyball thing we did that's never no i kicked butt in that yeah no it was when i was like 11 and uh i used to i love to like wrestle that's i think that's why like you have so much and and i was like 11 years old and me and my dad were like running around the house like Kung fu-ing and I did some like crazy kung fu jump over my couch, landed on my back and my knee like right cross and just bam into my eye. Did you cry? No, I was kind of crying but then I started laughing because I realized I'd given myself a black eye and then my dad's like taking pictures crying laughing and I had a huge shiner and then when people asked what happened I like had to make something up because I was so embarrassed that I gave myself a black eye. The funniest one to me. tons of people have seen this on the internet is the black kung fu guy oh yeah with the nunchucks yeah that's awesome it is one of the funniest things I've ever seen he's using nunchucks and he accidentally hits himself in the face and like oh my god oh
stumble and he can't stand up and he falls like down on his face and you finally see people rush in because he's trying to do instructional video. It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. P1 Grim. Yes, sir. What'd you do? Pulled my back sneezing. Wow. Oh, it's your boy, Eddie. You guys must have some violent sneezes. Really violent sneezes. Is it better now? Oh, yeah. It was a few years ago. Question. Question. Do you sneeze differently now? Yes. So that scared you, right? Oh, yeah. So now when you sneeze, like how do you do it differently? I don't put my body into it. You like have to brace yourself. Right. Put my back up against something flat and just pray that it doesn't happen again. Exactly. Skye, I'm surprised you haven't given yourself a hernia with your sneezes. Why does everyone trip out on how I sneeze? Yes. It's snowing. All of you, leave me alone. She's got the strangest sneeze ever. Sky also does not have the buildup. Very rarely do you see Sky go... All of a sudden, you're sitting there, and out of nowhere, she goes... Wow, what happened? P1BS is on the line. Oh, my.
I wonder if that's BS or if that really happened. Oh, yeah. Could be BS knowing this guy. Wow. I hope it's real. It's in the name. P1 Giants fan? Hey, Mikey, what's going on? What's up, dude? Hey, I actually got one of those sneezing stories. I was in high school, and I was leaning over my desk to pick something up out of my backpack, and I sneezed, and I ended up splitting my eyebrow open and getting 12 stitches. Oh, man. What? Wow. Yeah, it was fun. Maybe they should add sneezing to curriculum so that we all know how to do it right. Because, you know, what's funny about it is that I've never injured myself to the extreme that you did, but I know that I've sneezed before and something hurt in your face, in your head, behind your eyes or your nose. You're really disturbing your sinuses. It makes you wonder if sneezing is really...
like a good for you kind of thing. It always feels, sometimes it feels really good to sneeze. What I like to do with my wife is when she's building up, say something that gets her to stop and then she gets really upset. Oh, that's terrible. How do you get her to stop? It's so fun. Here's the easiest way to do it to somebody. When they're building up, you go, oh, bless you. And they go, oh, come on. They go, oh, come on. Bless you. And it stops it right in its tracks. Brutal. By the way, if anybody knows if Santa Claus is Coming to Town is going to be on between now and Christmas, let us know. Because we have this list of TV shows, and it's not there. It's Eddie's favorite one. It's the best one ever. Tonight's Charlie Brown Christmas. That's on at 8 o'clock. And... We obviously advised Zeth to watch that. He's a lot like Charlie Brown himself. Oh, good grief. Get a better tree, Zeth. Yeah, how many times? Sorry. Put that one ornament on and the whole thing. It's terrible. It's so sad looking, right? I know. It's so sad. I am very, very, very close to having a conversation with my wife about the cats. Oh, no. What kind of conversation? Well, I have...
Obviously, I know the cats aren't going anywhere. I know that. I know that. But we have these mats that we put underneath the lip of the litter box. We have two litter boxes right next to each other because we have two obese cats and a smaller cat. And just underneath the lip of the litter box is a little plastic rubber mat. that goes underneath there for them when they come out, they scrape their little paws on it and they leave the little kernels of litter behind and not traipse it through the house. The poofy litter feet. That's right. Gross. Well, one of them, one of them, I don't know which one. I don't know which one it is. Why are you laughing, Skye? Why are you laughing? Well, because I know what you're going to say because my cats do something similar. One of the cats is urinating on the mat. Oh, come on. But my cat does it with a number two. Oh, Skye. And he leaves it hanging like half in the litter box, half off. That is so disgusting. Skye, if they did that. Like on the list. That's funny to you? If they did that, Skye, forget it. That cat is moving out. Oh, my husband gets so mad. I would say. Oh, it's so funny. Get your little kitty suitcase and pack it up and call the little tiny kitty miniature U-Haul.
It's funny to you because you don't have to clean it up. Oh, does he do it, Skye? That's why it's funny. That'd be funny for me, too. Of course. So I have to take this rubber mat. Oh, dude. And I have to go clean it up. Oh. It's your job to clean the... That's your job to clean it? It started when Rebecca got pregnant. Oh, yeah. Because, you know, pregnant women can't touch litter or they'll die on contact. Animal feces, yeah. Yeah, they'll just die. Women will just pass away. All right. Oh! I mean, you've seen all of the evidence of this throughout history. It would be dangerous. Doctors tell you that you're a pregnant woman. All the pregnant women that we've lost due to cat litter over their lives. Well, I don't think the women die. I think your babies get birth defects. That's a real thing. You know what? In fact, all birth defects they've traced back. Not all, Mike. You're being dramatic. For instance, we once saw on the news, this woman that drank whiskey her entire... pregnancy, the baby was born with what they thought was fetal alcohol syndrome. Turned out, that woman kept changing the litter box the whole time. Kitty Linder. That's right, Kitty Linder. So anyway, my wife has me changing that litter. You know what I meant. And I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. Swap it out. But let me tell you, the reason that I hate it the most is because I don't care for the cats.
I truly have a disdain for them. That I've been praying about recently. I've been telling God, I'm really sorry that I hate those animals so much. We hate you. The other day, I actually apologized to Ginger for hating her so much and treating her so badly. That's nice. And I apologized to all of them. But it still doesn't change the fact that in my heart, I still despise them. So have you had this litter discussion with your wife yet, or is this something you've just been? It's been something that we've kind of brought up on the air, and it's kind of like this. She takes care of Jake, and she does a phenomenal job. I give her not an A, but an A+. She does a lot. But what's happened is that because she does, I have this fear of bringing up something that I feel is unfair for me to be doing, which is that litter. I don't want the litter anymore. What can I take on? What can I take on? Swap it out. Swap it out with another chore. What can we swap it out for? Well, does she do stuff like outside of the Jake stuff? Like, is she in charge of the dishes? Is she in charge? Yeah, I don't want to touch dishes, though. What about laundry? Okay, laundry. Laundry. So you would do her and Jake's laundry? Are you capable of doing the laundry? Because I know you're... I know...
Well, I know you're the guy that leaves your clothes all over the floor. That's true. I try to get better at that. It bothers her. So can you put them away real nice? Yeah. Vacuum. What about vacuuming? No, he doesn't. That was really weird. Why? Why did she say that was so wrong? He hates the sound of the vacuum. Oh, that's right. I totally forgot that. I forgot that, too. They have an issue with the sound of the vacuum. Well, maybe laundry. Maybe laundry. Gardening. What about gardening? Yeah, I'll take over her gardening duties. Ashley. Because she's about had it with that gardening. Always out there every day trying to cultivate our vegetables. People need to attack me. I'm just saying, you know. It's getting really fun. Well, maybe you should have a little discussion. What could I do? What about laundry?
Is it a crazy thought? Eddie, let me ask you. You can be honest. You can be 100% honest. He doesn't want to hear what I have to say. He was looking at me. He was looking at me, immediately turned his body and said, Eddie. Eddie will give me a fair answer and I will accept it. And that's the truth. I will accept it. Oh gosh, here we go. Eddie just shot your looks guy. Why don't you stay out of this? Here's what I thought about it. I thought, okay, fine, fine. But is it a crazy idea that she just do the litter and I don't have to pick something up? Absolutely not. That's not a crazy idea. They're her cats. Guy, only one of those cats we got together. You married those cats. No, we didn't marry the cats. Okay, let's say I did. You married the cats? Well, let's say I married her and I knew she came along with them, which I do. That doesn't mean that I... Why does that make it my chore? Before Mike, who changed the litter box?
Before Mike? Yeah. She had the cast before Mike. Right. She did. Okay. Well, what changed? They got married and they made an agreement that he would start doing it. When she was pregnant. Well, then do something else. She's not pregnant anymore. Well, then bring it up. Maybe she'll be totally cool. Maybe she'll be like, you know what? No, she won't be cool about it. Your wife is way cool. She is cool. She's so super cool. She's super cool, but this is going to bother her. It's a gross job. She doesn't want to do it. She's got a guy for that. Mike. Wait a couple years. You can just give it to Jake. Oh, trust him. Jake, clean the candy. Three. Coming up on two, you can start giving it to him. Oh, man. Last time I checked, that kid can walk. Say what you have to say and shut up. Five-three. When was the last time you went shopping and got cash back? Woo!

Axl Rose's assistant says that during the fire in Malibu, Axl helped firefighters save his home. In case you haven't heard this morning, tragic news. Redskins' Sean Taylor passes away at the age of 24 from the gunshot wounds from his house in Miami. This was Alicia Keys yesterday on a talk show explaining the title of her new album, As I Am, cut 13. The title of your new album is called As I Am. Exactly. As I Am. What does that mean? As I Am really represents the way that I've discovered, the way that I want to be. I've really taken away any expectations. I've thrown away any boxes, any limits.
I've become way more true to myself and honest with myself and everybody around me. You have to take me. You know that song, No One? This one right here is still the number one pop song and hip-hop song in the United States. Remember I said I was going to tell you about Amy Winehouse and how she's at it again? That zany Amy Winehouse? She's in trouble again this time because she wouldn't go... Well, she's not in trouble, but she wouldn't go on stage. Yeah, they say that she was, during part of her UK tour over the weekend, she locked herself in her hotel room after a 48-hour bender. Which is not well right now. That's a long bender. Yeah. Wouldn't come out, and they finally coaxed her out, and she took the stage. Can you imagine what that took? Oh. A stretcher? Yeah. Right? They coax her out. Put a bottle of booze on the head of a string. You keep moving it.
coked her out? No, they coked, coked, coked, trail away, pouted to the stage. So she finally took the stage but then was slurring through all of her songs and was eventually Oh, that makes Rob's laugh so hard. Could you imagine her singing Rehab slurring it? No, well that is an irony. There is an irony. That is irony. That's irony. They call that irony. I have a sound effect request. It's my favorite new sound effect right now. It's Ashley going... That's my favorite sound effect right now. Is it? Of the moment. It is. Thank you. 5701053. I've never even seen the movie that that is from. You'd appreciate it so much more because it's a dead-on impression. Dead-on. Dead-on impression. Dead-on. Ashley says it's from the movie Princess Bride and it's like this witch in the movie.
That's doing it real soon. Oh, boy. She's doing it when she's walking down the aisle in the dream. I think she's just an old lady. I don't know. She's really scary. Oh, she's just an old lady. She looks very witchy. What? She's saying boo. Just like that. Ashley said. Identical. Dead on. I get an audio of the real one. Please do. I'd love to hear it. Oh, I will. Can you Google it? Yeah, I'll be on it. Okay. What we need. for Wuss Rock Jukebox is men. You gotta call us and the reason that this works is men singing Wuss Rock songs is kind of funny. So if you're the type of guy like me that knows all these songs, for instance, I've Been Waiting for a Girl Like You is definitely a Wuss Rock song. You know, that song by Foreigner. Yeah, how's that one go? Oh, wow. For a girl like you. Get it.
To come into my life. I would have just won Wuss Rock jukebox. Congratulations. That was homo. What we do is we play a clip of the song, abruptly stop the song, and you take over. That's how it works. 570-1053. If you're a guy, there's only two rules. Yeah. Important rules. Very important rules. Number one. Do not sing, I don't know the words to this song. Do not do that. And also, the second rule is, don't say, I couldn't hear it. Because you can hear it. Right. Liar face. Yeah, you liar pants. That's all. And we should add the third rule is that you must be creative. If you don't know the words, if you don't know the words, please be creative. Because you are going to be judged by Eddie, Sky, and Sean as to how effeminate you sound. So 570-1053. Tyler, you're first up. Hey, what's up, guys? Not too much. You ready to play some Wuss Rock jukebox? Oh, yeah. There you go. That's the attitude we like. Oh, I'm in. The song stops. You start. Here we go. To the judges we go, Eddie looks excited. I loved it. I got to tell you, I really felt like...
him and i were grocery shopping and we were really lingering around the cucumbers so i mean i gotta give it a thumbs up on that one it was great sky oh i'm really on the fence about this one i i feel uh this gentleman is definitely bi-curious um but come on but he's confused about his own sexuality in the lyrics no way he referred to a woman but then referred to a dude um How will that affect the judging? I'm going to have to say you really like chicks. Oh, you don't get it, tough East German judge. Sean, you are going to be like President Bush. You're the decider. All right. I'll take on that responsibility. This gentleman did not get the words correct. However... That melody was so sweet. It was so good that there's no question in my mind that this guy would destroy a mustache flavored snow cone. Sounds yummy. Apparently you don't go to the same snow cone stores that Sean does. Thank you. Hang on the line, Tyler.
Next up, P1 Ziegfried. I already like the name. Already like the name. Hi. Ziegfried, here comes your song. When it stops, you start. Eddie. That's today. I got to tell you, I really pictured us going to the movies, standing in line, having kind of a little argument on whether or not we're going to see Enchanted or Beowulf for the guy. Obviously. I win. Either way. Thumbs up. I envision that I'm on a trip to Las Vegas with my husband and we really wanted to go see all your tigers and we went to the compound and you let my husband in but not me because I had a vagine. You are awesome, dude.
And Sean, what'd you think? Uh, yeah, I mean, I thought I could definitely see him making French toast with berries for a tractor-trailer driver. Dude, you are gay. You win, Siegfried. Hang on the line, okay? Thank you. Okay, then thank you. P1 Ryan, you are the final contestant on... Very nice. Very nice. On What's Rock Jukebox. Are you ready to play? Yes, I am. When the clip stops, you start. Here we go. I wanna hear the show bells ring. Very creative. Eddie. I'm speechless. I'm infuriated. I was really into the Terrence Trent Da Arby song. Da apostrophe Arby? Yeah. Founder of Arby's, by the way. Really? From what I understand. I never knew that. I didn't either. That's fantastic. They dropped the D. Yeah. Him and I were going to order the Big Montana and it turns out he doesn't like the Big Montana. So, thumbs down.
They were going to call it Darby's, but they were like, it's too expensive for the D and the apostrophe. Well, it's too international. Didn't fit on the apron. Sky? Yeah, I was all in on this guy, and then he hit on me backstage. I was like, you're phony baloney. And finally, Sean. I would like this person to get gingivitis, whiplash, and carpal tunnel up his feet. Wow. Well, that didn't work then. I hope you're out. Well, let's do this then. Quick time out when we come back. We did have a couple winners, by the way. When we come back, I'm going to tell you who Ashley Simpson invited to spend Thanksgiving with her. The day after Thanksgiving. What did I say? We've got a show of tough spots on our freeways here this morning. Southpond's under the 5, so finding some leftover slowing from Cannon Road down to an earlier accident now clear at La Costa. And then it backs up on you pretty heavy from La Acadia. Pretty solid from here all the way down to Manchester. The 15 commute, that of Escondido stays tough on the South 15th from the 78th of your Rancho Parkway. Some reduced speeds again through Rancho Bernardo, and now it's bunching up a little bit through Carmel Mountain Ranch. The ride of the Santee this morning, the westbound 52, has the usual brake lights coming up the hill in towards Tierra Santa. West 94 on the King Freeway, that's not too bad. Just a bit of Dudley from 28th Street in the downtown. Westbound 8 bunching up from Spring Street now up to Lake Murray. From there, you're good to go in the Mission Valley. Things are easy on the 805 northbound. Looks like that Southway Expressway is really taking a load off this freeway. You will find a bunched up door ride right around Division Street. And there's a scatterbrake that's into North Park. And northbound 5 also still going around that Southway Freeway. And then again out of downtown. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. All right. Warren Miller is back with a new movie. It's called Playground. And if you're into skiing or snowboarding and winter sports in general.
this is the movie for you. And it might be kind of jacked up, but I've already watched the trailer. You can go to warrenmiller.com and see it. But I love watching it for the guys that take nasty, nasty spills. When you're seeing a guy cartwheeling down one of the steepest mountains ever, to me, it's kind of funny. I love seeing that kind of stuff. But it's also awesome to watch these guys land some of their tricks. They got different clips from the past X Games. It's great. They got people going from Japan to Alaska, Sweden, even Dubai. Now, the showings start tomorrow night at 8 p.m. in Encinitas at La Paloma Theater. You can also go to warrenmiller.com for the tour dates, the videos, details. There's a bunch of stuff at that website. Good. Important to Clear Channel, so I want to get it done. Short message today. Better wait. Yeah, might get another one. Might get another one, because sometimes there's a little pause. Sometimes what'll happen is it'll interrupt the show, but then you're like, oh, cool, we can move on, and then nope. Back again. Perfect place for it, though. It's a great place to put that thing. Yep. Let's try one more time. There we go. It's 7.23. Doctors say that Vice President Cheney can go back to work today after they used electric current to shock his heart into a normal rhythm.
Phillip Rivers was caught on tape telling fans to shut up during the game. Shut up! That's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. For some reason, I thought he was saying something else. Yeah, I love that. Not bad, Phillip. Shut up! Shut up! Leave me alone! This email says, Santa Claus is coming to town. ABC, December 5th. 8 o'clock, Eddie. Love it. The Grinch. ABC. November 28th. Tomorrow, Eddie. 8.30. Jessica Simpson had Famous for His Ribs. The St. Louis ones are probably my favorite, but... Good call. Now, did she invite him or did her dad invite him?
That's a good question. According to sources, Jessica invited him for Thanksgiving. Obviously, he was working on Thanksgiving Day, so he made the trip to her grandmother's house in Waco, Texas the day after and hung with the fam. I thought he was with Carrie Underwood. I did, too. They broke up, like, I don't know, three, four weeks ago. Really? Yeah, she's now dating some dude on, like, the CW. From the show Gossip Girl. Yeah. Yes. Hello. He's so hot. Hello. Do you think that when he left Thanksgiving and went out to his car, he found that somebody had driven their keys into the side of his pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive and carved their name into his leather seats? I bet, yeah. Could. Could have. Yeah. Again, if you're going to commit vandalism, probably not best to put your name on the leather seat. No. I wouldn't. No.
Hey, Carrie, some might call that evidence. Yeah, maybe like a haiku or something, but not your name. How about, what do they call it, a pseudonym? You know, you use a different name, you know? Maybe use a different name. A nom de plume. Yes, a nom de plume. Ashley does a dead-on impression of the Princess Bride. Well, you don't know. You've never seen it. I'm just going on what she says. But we do have evidence. Oh, I'd love to hear it. We have the scene from The Princess Bride that Ashley's talking about. Anytime. Why do you do this? Because of your hands. And you gave it up. But they would have killed Wesley if I hadn't done it. Thank you. You're true. She does more. She does it again. Oh, she does it again? Let me hear. In the fire swamp. And she treated it like garbage. And that's what she is. The queen of refuge. Over again. So bow down to her if you want. Bow to her. Bow to the queen of slime. Yeah. The queen of filth. The queen of putrescence. Boo! Rubbish! Now let's hear Ashley's impression. Oh, my God. Dead on! What can I say? I was wrong, you know? It's dead on. I win. I can't tell the tape from the real version. Thank you. It's that good. Did you catch... Sky, what did you think? Yeah, Sky. I thought it was...
perfectly done. Thanks, Michael. What did you think? What? Yes, guy. I was at TMZ.com. What did you say, Eddie? Yeah, let's hear it again, Ash. Just the beginning. Just the boo part. Why do you do this? Because you had love. Good job. Why do you do this? Because you had love. Okay, forget it. Ashley. It's It's a YouTube clip, so it's just not very organized. It's not organized. Now, wait. Is that Sean playing it? Or is that Ashley playing it? I can't tell. I can't tell which one is it. I can't tell, isn't it? I stopped. All right. Now, play the other one. Is that the movie? I can't tell. I think it's perfect. Skye, what did you think? Yeah, Skye. She wants to know. Yeah.
I don't... You can't tell which is which? I can't tell. Well, thank you. Thank you for your honesty. You're welcome. Doing that impression. Listen. It's a clip, right? It's like a Britney Spears song. Thank you. All right, I got an email. Mikey, please help me. My wife and I recently had a baby. My wife is breastfeeding and doesn't have a problem doing this wherever she has to. I'm talking restaurants, my work, wherever. She was doing it at my family's house this past Thanksgiving, and it really gave me the creep seeing my brother and cousin staring at her doing it. Oh, my God. She tries to cover up as best as possible, but the bottom line is you can still see what's going on. I'm trying to be open-minded about it, but what can I say? Do you have any advice, P1 Craig? Listen, my wife, she breastfed for a little while.
But the truth is that I'm not a woman. I can't comment on what it's like to breastfeed. And the truth is that when it comes to child care, you have to rely on a professional or at least a doctor. Man, where's that kid? What's he doing over there? That was weird. He's quoting Princess Bride. Oh, probably. It's one of my favorite scenes. It was dead on. Yeah. He's not booing. He's saying Dr. Phil. I think so. That's what's going on. Okay. I heard this poor guy's email. I can understand the embarrassment. I know exactly what he's going through. Really? Can you help? I can't help. I'm a doctor, and I actually had a patient once that was having some trouble with her mothering skills. Oh, really?
due to confidentiality, things of this nature, the fact that it's a doctor-client privilege, for anonymity's sake, let's call her Britney Spears. That's an actual person. She would act like a backwoods pig farmer with her children. Driving them around on her lap, dropping them on their head, shooting them up with Pepsi. I'm telling you, it was bad. I gave her a tip that you may want to Pass on to your wife. It's called, um, ale. Okay, well, that's not a tip. What you do is, what you do is, you take pictures of her doing the milky milk thing. It's called breastfeeding. You tell her to go to CPS, and if she don't start acting like a civilized person, you'll call them yourself. Wow. Well, that's not child abuse. What are you talking about?
This isn't West Africa, Sky. I mean, this is natural. You don't go around whipping your dealies out all over town, right? It ain't right. Once I threatened Brittany with some revealing pics I was going to send to the paparazzi, and she ended up paying me off, which doesn't really help this situation, but man, what a payday. That's bad. You shouldn't do that. It was a lot, is what I'm saying. Let me talk directly to the young man that wrote this, okay? I'm going to say to him, listen, son, I think the bigger concern here is not your wife giving vital nutrients to your baby. It could be your creepy family oogling over your wife's stuff. So the next time your brother tries to sneak a peek of the goodies, why don't you give him a sketchbook or an Etch-A-Sketch?
Ask him if he wants to try and draw it up and keep it forever. Then spray him in the eye with mace. And that should do the trick. Dr. Phil, a little bit? You know, exactly with this issue, this whole breastfeeding in public thing, which I know y'all have talked about here on the show before, we had this problem with my first wife, Ernesta. Ernesta? She was our maid for three and a half years, and to help her out one Tuesday, I married her. Oh, that's... Like, they're an American citizen. Anyhow, she was into this same kind of thing, too, and my brother, Count Chocula, used to call her names. What are you talking about? To explain. Okay. We called him Count Chocula because he favored the General Mills products. Oh, okay. And one of them was the Count Chocula. It's delicious. Anyway, he would walk into the house and just immediately... Yeah, well, yeah. Oh, okay. He would walk into the house and he'd immediately start mooing. Okay, which was rude. Yeah, that is rude. That'd make Ole or Nesta roll her eyes and cover up and move up to the attic where Greg slept. That's a pretty bunch, man. Hey, Dr. Felt. Hey, Dr. Felt. To explain. Yes, please.
Greg was a hippie that we hired one summer who ended up playing Doc from Snow White at Summerstock. Oh, see this again. And runs a nursery for albinos now, OB. Okay. His mother wears deodorant. He stinks to high heaven. All right. That's actually... He must be like 21, 22 years old by now. It's really amazing to think back to all. Okay. This has gotten really off track. You know, this problem, y'all, is as old as the written word itself, and the solution is just as simple. Now, I don't know what that meant, but it sounded good. Here's the solution to the problem, all right? When she slips into the shower, take her maternity bra and apply two dabs of super glue just before she puts the bra back on. You're an idiot. That's bad. You shouldn't do that. And what will happen is that super glue will seal her shut like B-Rob's mouth during the show. No more feeding problems. I think we all understand that. That is right.
You know, Eddie, breastfeeding is a very natural part of life. It's true. Yeah, it's also natural for me to stare at that natural part of life. Like Skye staring at a honey-baked ham. Unnecessary. You can't argue with that. You can't argue with that. I'm Dr. Finn. Mike was here. The Mikey Show continues. Mike is a f***er. We've got a traffic alert in effect from a bad accident on the southbound 5 here on the ramp to eastbound 54 in the South Bay. They're shutting down that ramp to try to remove this accident out of the way. In the meantime, you're being advised to avoid it because traffic is backing up in the area. On the opposite side, our usual queued side, northbound 5, it is backed up from Chula Vista up to National City, then again into the downtown S-curve, and then again a little bit past the airport now.

Anybody do any Cyber Monday shopping? I did. You did, Eddie? Yeah, it was terrible.
Really? Yeah. I kind of, you know, I was getting those things. I was getting stuff emailed to me yesterday, ads, and I was like, that's not that great. Yeah, well, I had a hard time finding places that were doing anything, first of all. And then I just Googled Cyber Monday. And there was like a site, like, I think it's like shop.com that like gives you links to places. But I can never find the deals on the links. They said 75% of online retailers were going to be doing these massive cuts yesterday. Yeah, I was on Amazon a lot and, you know, they were offering their super saver shipping, but they offer that all the time. And then they had a little section where they were doing deals, but it was like a timed thing. So you could get, you know, a pearl necklace and earrings for $99 for the next 30 minutes. They do that. I'm a big Amazon guy. It's called the gold box and they give it to you for 30 minutes or I can't remember how long.
But that's normal. I got one from Macy's, and it said, if you order online today, you get free shipping with any purchase over $75. I'm like, $75? Yeah, I saw a lot of that, too, where it was like, with a certain amount, you got free shipping, but that's not a deal. People need to let them know that we don't like it, so maybe they'll make it better. Yeah, we want like, buy one laptop, get one free, or something like that. Deals like that. Hook it up. What did you have for dinner last night, Ashley? I thought of you when I was preparing it. What? Well, I took some leftover Thai food, and it was kind of like this soupy dish with ground beef, carrots, cabbage, spinach, noodles, like the thick kind of lasagna noodles. Egg noodles. Yeah. Yeah, I guess. And what maybe you would consider a curry sauce. All right, so I took like a spoonful of that, put it in a bowl. Then I took a nice hefty zucchini from Henry's, took half of it, chopped it up, steamed it. You eat a lot of zucchini, right? It's my favorite vegetable. How do you steam it? Well, this is what I do. This is like the most cooking I do every night. I take my zucchini, I wash it off, I slice it up, I put it in a little bowl and I cover it barely with water.
And then I take a lid and I put it on top, but I leave a little room to breathe, a little room, you know? And then I put it on high. Wait, you put the bowl right on the stove? Oh, you mean a pot? Yeah, it's a pot. Oh, a pot, a pot. Okay, got it. Did I say bowl? Yeah. Yeah, and so you just, you barely want to cover the zucchini with water. And then you put the lid on, leave a little room to breathe, put it on high. And then probably like four or five minutes, it's boiling and you want to wait for the zucchini to cook so you can see that it's cooked almost all the way through the center. And then you can, you know, you can, what's it called? Like drain it, drain the water out. And I put salt and garlic. Pepper and salt and garlic salt. Buddy, does it sound like she's boiling the zucchini? She boiled it. She's steaming it. It sounds like she's boiling it. There's no steaming involved. So then what? Steam. What did you do next? Boiling because it's hot. So then I took the zucchini. So then I heated up the leftover Thai food in the microwave. I cut up the zucchini and I put the steamed zucchini I just made into the just heated up leftover Thai food. I just mixed it all together. And then I took a side of a bag of popcorn.
Of fat-free, 100-calorie popcorn and water. Her dinners to me always sound like, you know the real mangy dog that has the matted fur in the alley that no one owns? And the dog has a blue eye and a brown eye. You know that dog? You've seen that dog. And that's what he's eating? Ashley eats like a feral cat or a stray dog. Ash! A homeless person eats better than her. Yeah. For sure. Absolutely. And then I baked up cookies and I ate them all. Ash! A whole tray. I had like seven. Milk. Now, let me see. For comparison's sake, Rob, what did you eat last night? Oh. I had some oatmeal. Nice. Nicole Richie thinks you need to eat some more food. Food? Wow. Oatmeal works. Yeah, I had a bowl of oatmeal. Calcium? Fiber? Nothing wrong with that. I don't have an eating disorder. Well, there you go. What in God's name is going on? Bunch of crazy kids. You know what I was talking to my dad about last night? Now that he gets older, he reflects back on all the stuff as we were growing up. Have I ever told the story on the air about how I set our back fence on fire when I was five? Yeah, I think so.
Except for being abusive to animals, I had all of the signs of being a serial killer when I was a kid. Wetting the bed, playing with fire. I showed all the signs. But yeah, me and my friend Isaac Lopez. Oh, Isaac. I know that guy, right? He was crazy. We would be in the alley and we would play with matches and then we would start the fire and then we would put it out with our feet. Stomp it out. Well, you guys know Isaac. He... Crazy. He always wanted to let it get a little bigger and a little bigger before we put it out. I'm five. I don't know any better. Plus, he's Isaac. What am I going to do? You're not going to say no to Isaac. I could kick my butt. That's scary. He's way older. He's like seven. He runs that alley. It's true. It's true. They don't call it back alley for nothing. So the fence caught on fire. Well, the person that lived behind us, the other side of the fence, the lady comes down and she goes,
I'm calling the fire department. And so Isaac says, I'm going to get the hose. So he runs to get the hose. And I run all the way through the alley, all the way around the street to her house. And I run into her house. And I beg her to not call. I'm five years old. She didn't call. I told her. I said, he put it out. He put it out. I didn't know that he put it out. But I said, don't call. Well. It burnt itself out, but it burnt that fence down. It burned it down. It didn't start any fires next to it. And if I remember correctly, I think her husband came out and he helped with putting it out. Oh, man. But my dad said that he was talking to some friends of his and he thought that I was a little pyro, but then he started finding that a lot of people that he knows have stories of almost setting their house on fire. Oh, yeah.
Did you guys ever accidentally almost set your house on fire? Not my house. I was a little pyro, too. I love playing with matches and making little fires. I almost burned a field because I would mess around with them in there, but I never burnt my house down. You never almost burnt the house? Yeah, I almost burnt down a huge play structure in our backyard. Because, you know, we had pine trees everywhere. And so there would be pine needles all over the ground. And I like to play with matches just like anybody else. And I was like, ooh, you know what burns really good are these pine needles. That's very true. So what I thought, because I was trying to be smart about it, well, if you put all the pine needles in the sandbox, you know, you're not going to set anything on fire because you can just throw the sand on it. So true. It was a two, like the sandbox was on the ground, but then there was like a top little watchtower dealio, you know? Above the sandbox? Yeah, above the sandbox. So not thinking that the flames go up and above my head is a wooden structure. Yeah, I cinched the bottom of that real good. And you couldn't put it out with putting sand on it? Well, luckily the roof thing, the, you know.
didn't catch on fire, but it was totally singed. And of course my parents were like, what's that all about? I don't know. It just must have miraculously happened. My brother Sam, we used to have bunk beds. And underneath the bunk beds is this very thin cotton material that if you puncture it, you can see the wood that makes up the frame of the bunk bed. I know exactly what you're talking about. That cottony material has these little strings that hang down. And my brother thought, oh, I bet I could take a lighter and singe each one. Like he thought that he would light it and it would crinkle up. Wow. But it didn't, though. Oh, no. It didn't. No, it lit on fire completely. Holy cow. Holy crap. Yeah. Now, this is during the days that my dad was a young man and used to do a lot of what we call a whipping.
And my brother said that my dad never touched him. And to this day, he says, the reason I think he didn't touch me is because he would have killed me. Because he had to run in there, my dad, and grab the top bunk bed and throw it on the ground and put it out. Oh, my gosh. And Sam says, yeah, I think he never touched me because he knew that once he got started, he'd still be going today probably. He'd still be working Sam over on that one. Holy boy. I got two quick stories. Okay, hang on, hydroponics. Go ahead. The first one, my parents went away, and I threw a party at my house, and I had these candles lit in my room. And they were in, like, you know, the little glass holders that you could put a candle in, whatever. Pretty basic. I didn't know that that could catch on fire. The candle burnt out all the way and lit the glass. What? It was so hot. And I happened to go back up into my room. I don't even remember for what. And the glass was burning, like this blue, weird-looking flame, and the whole window was just black and on fire. Oh, my. And the only thing I had on me was a beer, so I'm, like, dousing my window with beer to put it out. Oh, boy. Which is alcohol. I'm surprised it didn't light it up more. No, it didn't. Well...
It got part of it out, and then I had to use a towel to pat the rest of it out. That was insane because I had to explain a whole blackened window to my mother. And then another time, we went out to this rope swing that was way out in the woods, and this was late fall, so there were all dead leaves on the ground. Me and my buddy stayed back because a bunch of people went back to their cars to go get more beers or whatever, and by the time they were trying to make their way back, the sun had already started to set. So I'm figuring we got to get out of here soon. We were a good quarter mile into the woods and we start walking out. Sun goes all the way down. We can't find the trail. We can't see anything. So all I had on me was a lighter. So I figure I'm going to take some leaves, bunch them up into my hand and light them on fire to see the way out. Like a handmade torch? Pretty much. This is the only way I knew how to get out of the woods. I wasn't going to hold a lighter and try to find it. I needed something big. If only the kids had Blair Witch would have thought of that. I needed to find the trail. I don't want to stay there overnight. So needless to say, next day on the news you heard about... Is that right? Yeah. Oh, no. Are you kidding? It burnt a real good section of the woods. Oh. Oh, my God.
I've heard of that. You guys have heard of that before, right? That's gnarly. Have you guys heard of stuff like that? Yeah. You've heard about how sometimes hunters or whatever, they'll get lost in the woods, and they end up starting a fire trying to find their way out. It's the only thing they can think to do. I've actually heard of that before. It was pretty much self-contained. It only got to a certain point because we were right by a lake. Oh, well, that makes it okay. T1 Hydroponics. Yeah, I live out in Ramona, and there's like a whole bunch of open fields here. And my dad went down to Mexico, and he brought us back some sparklers. Oh, boy. Me and my brother stole a field, and we went out into this field, and we started lighting them and burning ants and stuff. And the sparklers went out, but we still had matches and a lighter, so we kept burning other things, little bushes, and put them in the ant holes and whatever. And this fire started raging, so I grabbed the board, and I threw it on top, and I jumped on it, and the fire just shot out from every side. I was like, oh, my gosh. I wanted to start getting part of it out, and this lady comes out of her house and just starts screaming at us. We took off running. The fire was out, and I went to stay with my mom because my parents are divorced, and I come back on Monday for school, and the fire department's at my house, and they took me down to the fire station and just reamed me a new one, like...
The mark on your juvenile record, if you do anything again, you're going to jail and all this stuff. I was like nine or ten years old. Scared the hell out of me. Yeah, man. You know, it's really weird. Like, I wonder what it is. And Skye says she did it, too. So I was going to say little boys, but maybe little girls do it, too. But I wonder what it is about little boys that really are at love fire. They're interested in it. And like, because I know I was. Were you, Sean? I still am. You're still interested? Yeah, I kind of am too. Building fires. I love making fires. Yeah, dude. Building them and even movies with explosions and things like that. It's cool. It's something we really are drawn to. I think more as men. Did you say you played with matches or no, Ash? You didn't? I think it is more of a guy thing. I played with Barbies. That's sweet. Thanks. P1 Tim. Used to light those too. Go ahead. Okay. Yeah, so get this, man. I was a kid. When I was a kid, I was playing with matches in a camper next door neighbor house. And I was lighting G.I. Joe guys' heads on fire, which melted and then hit the floor of the camper, lit that thing up on fire, and then lit the house that it was next to on fire. That is so dangerous. Wow. How did you get G.I. Joe's head to light? What's that? How did you get G.I. Joe's head to light? With a lighter.
just sat there with it and just started melting and melting and then it started dripping. Wow. Oh, gosh. There you go. All right, dude, thank you very much for the call. A bunch of little pyros. Right? Don't play with fire. Yeah, you don't. Don't. I think there's something fishy about this Dick Cheney story. The Redskins' Sean Taylor passes away at the age of 24 from the gunshot wound he suffered at his Miami home. Vice President Dick Cheney had a routine shocking up the heart.
Well, I mean, that sounds crazy, but when you say routine, I guess it's normal. Right? It was very frightening for us all. There's President Bush to tell us all about it. President Bush, I'm glad you're here. Explosive! Well, Mike, I gotta tell you, I was very scared for a few days because I was the president. Wait a second. You were the president? Right, while Dick was out, they put me in charge. And I was very scared. For us all. President Bush, you're under the mistaken assumption that you are the vice president right now. You're not. You're the president. You're always in charge. Why does he tell me what to do then? He's not posting. I listen to him. He's smarter than me. I would be really careful. I would be really careful, President Bush. I'd be really careful of what you say because... You're letting America know some things that you don't want to let them know. Right. I need my heart shocked. Thank you, President. By Bon Jovi. Shocked through the heart. Oh, just to sing that song. You give love. We're good. It's not relative. It's not relative. You sound like me. It's not a good thing. Listen, I'm a conservative Republican, and I'll be...
I'll be okay with moving on to the next phase. Yeah. That's all I'm saying. Yeah. I'll be okay with moving on to the next phase. You don't want an electrical current going through our vice president's chest into his heart? Nope. And then them telling you it's normal, no big deal? Yeah. That kind of, you know, makes me think that they're not being honest. Oh, that's weird for them. Which, for whatever reason, as an American citizen, I don't appreciate it. Hmm. That's just, you know what? Maybe that's my deal, though. I'm getting more and more interested in this candidate named Mike Huckabee. I know that there's some things, Sky, that you don't like. There's some things I don't like. There's some stuff I don't like. But I'm telling you, what are you not like? Well, he is very extreme when it comes to his religion. Like, he will disregard science. follow religion instead of science and to me somebody who is leading our country needs to evaluate everything and not run things based on faith they need to take all facts into consideration oh i now see i think this i agree with you he does do that and i do too and i think that he will take things into consideration
But I want evolution to be taught in science books. As a theory, it doesn't have to be taught as a fact, but I want it, and I want women who are raped to be able to get abortions. You know right now that they don't do that, by the way. They don't offer it as a theory. It's offered right now as a fact. Right, and I know that's controversial, and I'll be okay as it just being a theory, but I don't want it yanked out of schools. Well then, so should we be able to teach religion in schools then? Because that's a theory too? As a theory? I mean, I'm okay with putting all theories out there. You're okay with religion in schools? No. What the hell are you talking about? These are just my personal opinions. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't want... I don't want preaching in our schools. I don't want teaching the Bible. But if you want to go over theories of how this planet are created, I'm okay with teaching children all the theories. About God. All the theories. And that is one of the theories. But that would be religion. But so is evolution. So is what? So is evolution. Yeah, it's a theory. It's a theory, but it would be one of those deals where we can't have it both ways. One of the deals is...
I was talking to Miles about this new thing that the governor signed called SB777. And I want to understand it more because I don't quite... I've never... I don't know what that is. It's a bill that was signed by the governor. And it's kind of a... It's being positioned as a anti... Like a hate crime bill. Which who's not for that? You know what I mean? But there may be... You know how sometimes they'll do a bill... And they say, we want it so that everybody is able to drink fresh water. And oh, by the way, in small print on the very bottom, it's like, and the new legal drinking age is 17. Yeah, they link one bill to another to try and sneak stuff through, definitely. But anyway, there's a lot of things about this guy Huckabee, and you know me where I am with my faith. I love a guy that's real like, he's so not Mitt Romney. who is all over the place. Now, I'm just talking about conservative candidates because that's what I got to decide for myself, which conservative I would like. And Mike Huckabee and the law and order guy, Fred Thompson, these guys are sailing up the... Their approval rating. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like people are starting to... Like a few months ago, nobody knew the name Mike Huckabee. True.
Now people are starting to know who he is. Same thing with a few of these candidates. But what's shocking me about it is, particularly with the Republicans, I'm like, holy cow. I thought that this was going to be a one-horse race with the Republicans. I thought everybody was going to fall in love with McCain and that was going to be it. And McCain right now is like, he's getting left in the dust. Like seriously, like John McCain, huh? That is surprising. Like that's what it's like right now. Giuliani's even fallen a little bit. And for you Democrats, it looks like a two-horse race. It's Obama and Hillary. Like, is there anybody else besides Obama and Hillary that you guys are digging? Well, personally, I'm a John Edwards fan. But, I mean, the rest of the Democrats, that's not being reflected in the polls. I think you're taken by his handsomeness. No. That's the deal. He's young. He's good-looking. He looks vibrant. No.
I bet you if that guy weighed 350 pounds and had weird marks all over his face, he would not be talked about like he is. Sky, you cannot deny that attractiveness in this country is liked like people really like it. Charm, good looks, charisma. Bill Clinton had a lot of that coming for him. Are you kidding? That guy was the king of it. He charmed Sean like you wouldn't believe. Oh, yeah. I love that man. He's a snake charmer. Hello. That guy cheated on his wife in the White House, and Skye still reflects back lovingly on Bill Clinton. I do not. And those lovely Clinton administration days. I do not. I mean, he did a lot of good things. If only he could run again. No, I... If only he could be back. Sean is saying those things. Oh, please. Not me. Not me. That's Sean. Terrible. All right. Why don't we do a little of this? What? Oh, yeah. Texted to my girlfriend. Sent it to my wife instead. Was drunk when I called her. Passed out when I hit send. I thought that I hung up. But my cell phone for once, it did not lose the signal. That's when she heard me talking all that crap. Cell phone mishaps. They're terrible. Cell phone mishaps when you call somebody a mistake. And then...
You look at your cell phone, and it says, like, 64 minutes, 35 seconds. Uh-oh. 64 minutes, 36, and you go. And it says, like, you know, Steve's been hearing the whole conversation you had. But you've been talking crap about him. Oh, yeah. Oh, great. Oh, he did? Oh, yes, he did. Or the same thing happens to you. Your cell phone rings, and you look at it, and you go, oh, Steve's calling. You go, hey, what's up? And you just hear dead silence for a second. And then you hear him going, you know, man, I'm going to get that Mikey. You know what I'm saying? I've gotten that call before. I have too. Trust me. I just got one five minutes ago. 570-1053 is the number. Call us right now and tell us about your cell phone mishaps. When have you called somebody on mistake and they heard stuff they shouldn't have heard or vice versa?
Have we talked about us on the show? Have we done this? I've done it. And it's really embarrassing. And I don't remember what you guys have said. Give me one of them. I've texted the wrong person before. I've never called somebody before. Did you say something bad? Oh, yeah. Was it something R-rated? When is it not? P1 Amy. Amy, what'd you do? Oh, my gosh. Well, it's what my friend did. Or she's not even my friend anymore or whatever. This woman did that was going to be in my wedding. What'd she do? Well, I got married like a year and a half ago. And I have always wanted a really big, beautiful, fantastic wedding, right? So I save up a ton of money. My parents had a special account for me. Like, my now husband also put some money aside so we could have a really kick-butt wedding, right? That being said, some things happened. My dad got sick. So we had to spend a lot of the money that was going to my wedding on my dad. So we ended up not having as much money, but we still wanted to have a nice wedding. So I asked for my bridesmaids and stuff to just kind of chip in on normal things like, you know, the bridal shower brunch and this, that, the other, right? So, you know, and everyone was like, no, that's no problem. We'd love to help. We'd love to help. And so I was talking to what was my best friend.
And she was like, okay. You know, I was explaining to her what I needed her to do, like to pick up the dresses, to make sure some stuff was dry cleaned, to get hors d'oeuvres and some party favors for the bachelorette party and stuff like that. And she was like, okay, okay, no problem, no problem. I'll do it. Great, whatever, you know, like sweet as pie. And in my head I'm thinking I have the best friend ever in the whole world. Like she's amazing. So then her phone, like she calls me. This is right after the conversation. So she calls me, and I'm like, hello, hello, hello. And I hear her talking, but I don't know how she did it, but she somehow dialed my number again, because I think she just called me. And she was in the car talking to one of the other bridesmaids, and she was being an absolute brat. Like, she's like, I freaking hate this. I freaking hate Amy right now. She's such a, you know... Oh!
what she said. She's just using us for our money. Why doesn't she get her poor butt up and take another job if she wants such a nice wedding? We're not responsible for her wedding. She doesn't like the guy she's marrying. I'm just like, what? I'm sure those comments go away real easily. And she wasn't in the wedding after that? Oh, weird. No, because I kicked her out of the wedding. Oh, what a shock. Yeah! Give me a break. Oh, my. So what did you do? Did you start yelling, hey, hey, hey? Oh, God, no. I couldn't wait to hear more. This was better than anything I've ever seen on TV. I was like, you've got to be kidding me. Right. So she finished, like, literally she ranted for, like, five minutes straight. And then the phone cut out, or maybe she realized it was on. I don't know. But I called her later on that night because I went home crying. My then-fiancé. And I was like, Brad, you're never going to believe what happened. This is so horrible. And he's like, no, it's not. Kick her out of the wedding. I don't like her anyway. Oh. So you kicked her out of the wedding? Yeah. Bricks, pal, and beat it because you are going out. Wow. So anyways, she's like, I don't know what you're talking about. We were just joking. We were just joking. It was no big deal. And I was like, you know what? It was hysterical. That was like a good one. Yeah. So I spent all this money on my wedding and then didn't even get to be a part of the celebration. Wow. And what sucks for her is my boyfriend...
Excuse me, my husband now. I love it. He does hedge funding, right? He made a fantastic, I don't know how it works, some tech deal or something. And now we're pretty much millionaires. You should see my house. I'm flipping loaded. Wow. Guess what I did? No, let me tell you. I think all of my bridesmaids and all of my husband's groomsmen, And we took him to Jamaica for two weeks as a way to saying thank you for being so kind and so generous during that time when we were roughing it. Amy, this is Skye. I know no one else can relate to this. Shut up. And don't let people make you into sounding like a terrible person. Because just because you're loaded, you're not a bad person. Now, Amy, do you do this, too? Do you just dump thousands of dollars of bills on your bed and make bed angels? Yes. Because I do that. We're doing cell phone mishaps. Let me ask you, Amy. How are you for real, though? I thought that was really cool. I have a real question for you, Amy. This is Skye. It is not Skye.
You run out of kitty litter. Do you use hundreds? Oh, come on. Because I do. Actually, I don't like cats. They're gross. Have you bought an island yet? Yes. No, I mean, we're not that wealthy. Oh, I am. Well, yes, you're not that wealthy. Yeah, you see, I had hundred dollar bills turned into toilet paper. That's right. That's right. Yeah. You're nice. I think it's really cool of us. Yeah. But you be nice for a moment. You sound poor. Hey, Eddie. Amy. Whoever. look out your window at the little people and just laugh. Mikey! From the top of your castle. That's right. You guys are being total jerks. Do you ever sail out on the moat? I was just doing this the other day with the boo. We sailed out on the moat and we were looking at the castle. There's no castle.
And we were admiring it, and I said, you know, we really should have this thing plated in 14-carat gold. What? The castle. The castle. You're so dumb. So Mexicans are coming over today, and they're going to do it. Mexicans. Hello. What, are white people going to do that? Hello. Hello. Anyway, thanks for relating, Amy. Toodaloo now. P1JD, are you there? What did you do? Well, actually, it was a call that came in to me. I used to have a detail shop. I live in Seattle. And not maliciously, but one of my employees and I used to basically talk like Asians. And we pretty much had it down to a tee to where when we talked, other people kind of gave us a little double take. Well, wait a minute. Wait, wait, wait, wait. You mean you just did this for fun? We did it for fun. We didn't do it in front of a bunch of people that we didn't know. But we did it just to be funny.
Is this dog the bounty hunter? Yeah, exactly, exactly. So, yeah, go ahead. Anyway, I had a regular customer of mine that owned a Chinese restaurant. He used to call up all the time and ask, you know, how much you charge my car? How much you charge wax? Oh, he's doing it now. Now he's showing us exactly how he did it. It's a talent. It's a skill. Right, right. Hey, I can't help that I'm good at it is what he's saying. He's like, what do you want from me? I'm good at this. Well, that came back to bite me because, you know, my employee used to call me, and he would talk like that, and he would actually say, how much you charge my car, blah, blah, blah. Right. And one day he called, and, you know, he started asking me all these questions, and, of course, I responded back the same way I always did. I'm like, oh, yeah, I make you a good deal. We do this, we do that, you know, whatever. Right. I can't do it that well because I'm on the air, but anyway. Right. Right. Big silence. Okay. Big, big, big silence on the other line, and I'm thinking, oh, crap. And it turned out to be the owner of that restaurant. Oops. Actual Asian guy. So the Asian guy calls. Oh, my God. The Asian guy calls and says. I had to get a glass of water to help fall on my foot, you know, and I didn't have a metal or anything else like that. Ancient Chinese secret. That's right. Now I'm just.
Paranoid, for one. And I'm really, really tactful, of course, now. And, you know, I guess that won't be happening again. Yeah. Yeah, you think? I think. I know. Thank you. Wow. Can you imagine, man? Asian guy calls and he starts doing the voice to the guy thinking it's his friend messing around. Oh, watch your door. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Guy's like... I don't know what you're doing. It was so good that there's no question in my mind that this guy would destroy a mustache-flavored snow cone. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock.
Welcome back to the show. It is 836. Britney Spears' lawyer was in court yesterday trying to prevent child and family services from having access to court documents. Monday night football last night was a bad one. Bad weather and bad field conditions led to the lowest scoring game in Monday night history as Pittsburgh kept Miami winless 3-0. Sky gave me this story. We're going to be doing new releases here in just a second. But Sky gave me this story and I thought to myself, boy, this is what a hardened world we have come to. In Del Mar, eight illegals were taken into custody in Del Mar just because a snuggling boat that they were in washed ashore. Now, I think snuggling should be legal, first of all. I mean, first of all, I think that it... Mike? I think it's a sweet thing to do. Well said. We're coming to a day and age now where illegals can no longer snuggle. Mike?
Sky, you like to snuggle. I do. I do enjoy a good snuggle. And so what? Now illegals can't snuggle. What's next? Like the cuddling car? I'm sure common sense would tell you that was a typo. No snuggling. M instead of an N. No snuggling. A typo. No. What did you say? The what? The cuddling car. The cuddling car. Smuggling. What about the spooning plane? I can't have that either. Can't have the smoothing, smoothing, smoothing. And you're going to come after me for a typo. That's right. Ever. All right, Sky's got, wait a minute, we got a guy from Immigration and Customs Enforcement talking about the snuggle boat. Shut up. Cut 40. Well, we certainly believe that we have at least one organization, if not more than one organization. Snuggle mongers. This seems to have some structure to it. Snuggle haters. Smuggling. Just snuggle Nazis. Oh, whatever. Dumb. All right, what's out today? Okay, new video games out today. We have History Channel Battle for the Pacific for Xbox 360. What is that? Battle for the Pacific puts you on the ground in many of the decisive battles in the Pacific Theater or World War II. Pacific what? Theater?
Or World War II. I see. I go to the theater. It's just what it says. It says theater? It says theater. T-H-E-A-T-E-R. Theater. That's what I said. Theater. Like the theater fires. I go to the theater. Go ahead. Also, today we have Game Party for the Wii, which is... That was so over-exaggerating. I liked it a lot. That was one of the best ones ever. Which is a group of different games for the Wii. Please. Theater! Oh, wow. Yeah, I stick my teeth out like that all buck when I say it. Okay. You're so late. You're so late. Thank you. Give a girl a break. That was a perfect impression of you. That was not. Not nice. I go to the theater. Whoa, those teeth. Oh, Eddie. Stop it, Eddie. Anyway, what else is there? I can't wait to find out. What do we got for PSP? How dare you. It's fun, huh? It's fun, huh?
Wait. Oh my gosh. Come on, Ash. Try it one time. Come on, do it one time. No way. Just hit it. Pretend you're in Princess Bride. Get up in it. Come on, get up and get that. Come on. That's terrible. That is dead on. Needs a little more teeth. That Anyway, other new video games out today. We have Omega 5 for the Xbox 360. I like the Omega 3s. The fatty acids. I like the Omega Moose. It's good too. Omega Man. That's good. Alright, we also have Cranium Kabuki for the Wii. Cruisin' for the Wii. A video game about the Al Pacino movie? That's really bad. Not a game for kids. No, it's a racing game. Probably not going to sell very well. I'll say it is. And then finally, we have Puzzle Quest Challenge of the Warlords for the Wii. New video game. That sounds really fun. Totally our audience. Don't they know Christmas is coming up? I know. Maybe they're saving it up. I don't know. So, not really much in the way of music out today. We have a new Mudvayne album by the people for the people.
Justin Timberlake. Which has all the original songs on it, plus some redone mixes and stuff, and then a second disc, which is a DVD with, you know, the making of the album and other cool live performances from, like, BMAs and stuff. So that's pretty much it for music. Here's the Mudvayne song. It's called Dull Boy? Dull Boy? Dull. Where is it? It should be on the second page. I'm looking. Labeled? Labeled. It's in red. It's labeled Mudveen Dullboy. There it is. I'll work and no play makes me a dull boy. I'll work and no play makes me a dull boy. Live in a secret love black sky. Catchy. I like it. Well said. Can you imagine having to go through that intro every time you hear the song? It's awesome. What else?
That's it for music. Just those two things. So we got new DVDs out today. Yay! What do you got? DVDs. The Waitress with Keri Russell out on DVD today. Isn't it just Waitress? Or Just Waitress if you prefer. Out on DVD today. It's up to you the title of the DVD. The Transformers. It's up to you. Right. Whatever fits you better. The Star Wars. Thank you. We're both right. Mr. Bean's Holiday. Oh, I can't wait. Come on, man. The Namesake, out today. Sky. With Kalpant. Okay. Bratz, the movie, out today. Hot Rod, out today. That's good. Yeah, that's a good one. That's Hot Rod. Oh, is that the movie? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Andy Samberg. That's right. We have Hearts of Darkness, a filmmaker's apocalypse. Thank you. I'm getting that today. In your face. I'm getting that today. What is that? I'm going to watch it, the whole thing, today. It's a documentary, and it was filmed by Francis Ford Coppola's wife while he was doing Apocalypse Now. While he was making it, his wife was making a documentary on him. And I have it on video, and a lot of nerds that are into it, like me,
have been waiting for it to come out on DVD. But it is, dude, I'm telling you, it is crazy. It's crazy the making of that movie. People lost their minds on that movie. Especially him. That's crazy. Especially him. Francis Ford Coppola, he paid for that movie himself to make it. It was the first movie that he was doing through his own movie studio that still exists today called Zotrope. So he was spending millions and millions and millions of his own money. And they were filming it in the Philippines, and they just kept running into more and more problems. One of the problems they ran into was Charlie Sheen had a heart attack. Martin. Martin Sheen. Martin Sheen had a heart attack. Oh, before Martin Sheen, though, the role was not given to Martin Sheen. Oh, really? In the movie Apocalypse Now. It was given to Harvey Keitel. Coppola is like, he's struggling because he knows almost immediately this guy's terrible for the part. Like he's wrong for the part and he just keeps filming. And finally he can't take it anymore. And he fires him. And he's got to hire somebody else. And you see she's filming him while he's having these conversations. It's like audio tape recordings of him on the phone.
from the Philippines back to Hollywood. And he's all worked up and he's going, we'll try to get Pacino. If we can't get Pacino, then we'll get Hoffman. If we can't get Hoffman, then we'll get so-and-so. He's naming all these big names off. And he finally gets Martin Sheen. Martin Sheen shows up, out of shape, smoking two packs a day. Drinking like a fish. Totally out of shape. And this role is for somebody, it's kind of physically demanding in Apocalypse Now. And so he's drinking himself. Have you seen the movie, Rob? I haven't watched it in its entirety, but I've watched parts of it. It's a very famous scene in Apocalypse Now where Martin Sheen punches a glass mirror and cuts his hand open. It's real. Oh my gosh. He was wasted. And they show all of it. They show like, they show, you know, before they even yell action, he's sitting in like Indian style in the hotel room that they filmed the scene in. And he's like swaying back and forth. He's so drunk. And he does this thing, you know, and they do interviews now with them now. And Martin Sheen says, I was so drunk and I was going through a divorce and I was going through this really tough time in my life. And he said,
And I got real drunk when we were doing that scene. And all I remember was that I was just kind of like letting all those demons out. And Coppola just kept running the film. And so he punches the mirror and he cuts his hand open. There's a piece of glass sticking out of his hand. And people were like ready to rush in and help him. And Coppola was like, no, no, no, keep filming. Martin Sheen says to Coppola, you know, like, let me just get this, let me get this over with. And he sits there and cries and cries and all that's in the movie. It's crazy, man. But, but, but, but, but. So, like, that's just like the little appetizer stuff of this documentary. The crazy stuff is, during the making of the film, Martin Sheen has a massive heart attack. And you hear this conversation that Coppola has back with Hollywood that I'm sure he's not very proud of now. he can care less that he's had a heart attack. And he's saying to the people back in Hollywood because he doesn't want it to get out to the press because he's funding the movie and he's also got some help from people and he's afraid that if the investors find out that...
The main actor has had a heart attack that they'll drop out. And so he's cursing and he's upset at the people back in Hollywood. And he goes, he's not dead until I say he's dead. So if he dies, no one says he's dead until I'm standing over the corpse and I say he's dead. It's crazy, man. It's crazy. That's one of the best documentaries I've ever seen ever. So that's out today. Hearts of Darkness, a Filmmaker's Apocalypse. Oh, it's good. So good, man. It'll make the hair on your arms stand up, the stuff in there. Also out today is that Lindsay Lohan turd, I Know Who Killed Me. Yeah, I know. We've all been waiting for that one. TV shows to DVD, the OC, the complete series. Out today. Nice. Happy Days, the third season. Mork and Mindy, the third season. Oh, good. Laverne and Shirley, the third season. Yes. And then we got some sports stuff to DVD. WWE, Shawn Michaels, Heartbreak and Triumph. And World Series 07, Colorado Rockies versus Boston Red Sox. Yeah. Easy. Narrated by Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. That's awesome. Matt Damon. Damon. Enjoy. Hey.
Hulk Hogan's wife says officially, I want half of everything. Has he worked a lot, Eddie, Hulk Hogan? Oh, hell yeah. What is all the money tied up in, you think, with that guy? Tied up in? Well, I know they have that big house. What is the dough? He doesn't still wrestle, right? No, but he has the reality show on VH1. Hogan knows best, so I'm sure they got a good chunk of change for that. I wonder if he gets any merchandising. Oh, I'm sure. Tons. Absolutely. Yeah, so I guess, you know, now more details are coming out because since she's filed for divorce, I guess they've actually been separated since June. And they were actually separated when they were filming the end shows of Hogan Knows Best, pretending like they weren't separated. And like Mikey says, she wants half part of their Bel Air mansion. They have a home in Florida, a condo under construction in Vegas. Plus, she wants spousal support and child support. Child support? Yep. Their kids are grown. Yeah. Brooke's like, what, 17? And the other one's like... It says here that Brooke's 19. Oh, well, yeah. What do you still get child support for? But it says, well, she wants child support for Nick, who I believe he's 17. So he's still a minor technically. Oh, okay. Nick is the one that got in that car crash. Yeah. Horrible. Here's a montage of the different calls that came in the night that that car crash happened. Cut two.
Can somebody get the phone, please? Yeah. It's ringing. You guys hear about Barack Obama talking about smoking pot? Yeah. Cut three. The gentleman right here, and I'm going to take two more questions. Go ahead. They've asked other presidents that were running, did they inhale? Is that? I did. Yay. It's not something I'm proud of. It was a mistake as a young man, but, you know, I mean, I'm not going. I never understood that line. The point was to inhale. That was the point. Young lady right there. There it is.
I love weed. I'm not sure the applause. I don't really understand the applause, but people applaud anything. Honesty, maybe? Yeah, probably him being accountable. I don't think they thought that fast. I think people like to applaud. Yeah, definitely. Or because they thought it was cool. I love weed. I don't know. That's right, yeah. Good for you. Good for you. You inhaled. Good for you. That's super cool. And I clap. Mikey, Mikey. 5-3. Do you owe money to the IRS? If so, time is not on your side. That's disgusting. If you go to NBCSanDiego.com and then at the very bottom of their front page, they do a little section which is like weird news and it's on there and it is. Skye just showed me like a hair turd. That's what it looks like. Yeah. But an elephant hair. Gross. I like that. Yeah, I guess the woman had this disorder which made her compulsively eat her own hair. And then finally she started vomiting and getting abdominal pain. She got surgery a year ago. They're now talking about the surgery in the New England Journal of Medicine. And they say the woman is now pain-free and no longer eating her own hair. That ain't right. No, it is not right. Have you guys tried it? No. How do you like your hair? Medium rare? Well done? Nasty. How do you like the hair?
Salt and pepper on that bad boy? I will now play for you from the Today Show, Bindi Irwin, Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi, rapping. No, my... Why? The rap is called Trouble in the Jungle. No, come on. And we will now treat the city of San Diego to this delightful rap. Kick it, old school. Cut 42. One of the signs of the apocalypse. That's pretty good. Keeping it real. Yeah, what do you guys think? Gangsta. Uh-huh. Who do you think was like her, you know, who was she into the most? Oh, Tupac for sure. Yeah, that's what I was thinking, definitely. B.I.G. Oh, yeah. Oh, well, she was sampling us. Trouble in the jungle. The jungle. That's a Tupac Shakur. That's a Tupac Shakur. Wow. You got Tupac Shakur. You got Tupac Shakur. Tupac Shakur. And the broccoli beans.
Yeah, I took Hasha Cool. And the Bang Bang Boogie? And the Bang Bang Boogie and can't don't stop the boogie. Oh, you don't have Bang Bang Boogie? No, I was reading this thing, speaking of rapping and rap artists and all that, I read this thing every once in a while, if you have America Online, they still have America Online. Every once in a while they will do this thing where it will be like the top 20 list of something. And I love those. You know, we always do them on the air and stuff. And so I guess they get them from Spinner Magazine. That's where a lot of these come from, from Spinner Magazine. Many of them, you know. And so I always find them interesting. I also get really irritated. And I get the feeling they want you to be irritated. I really do. I think that they want you to be irritated and they'll get you discussing it and talking about it or whatever. Because one of the deal... How many times? It's the eighth member of my show.
I can't control them. This is not just our thing, right? This happens to, like, everybody, right? That's what engineering told me. Like, this is a... Like, Jeff and Jer have this happen? Yeah, like, head of engineering told me that this is mandatory. Like, we can't get out of this. This has to be run. It has to be in the studio, too? That's what engineering said. That's what she said. That's what she said. But there's other stations that I've worked at before that don't have these machines in the studio. That's what I thought. Yeah, back in San Jose, these... You know, it's in the hallway. They have this at the Eagle, Eddie? Yeah, I was outside of the studio. Well, that makes sense. Yeah. It was actually by engineering so that they could... What you're listening to right now is a machine that... It's Wiggin' right now. Is it Wiggin'? I don't know why. It's Wiggin'. Sky likes Tim Wiggins. Wiggity-whack. All right. What is that machine for? It tells you, like, if there's emergencies...
But it's not even emergencies, right? Test? Tests? They test the emergency system? I think that it's there, available for emergencies, and this is an EAS test to make sure it works. Yeah, to make sure the system works. I don't know. And it interrupts radio shows. I don't understand why we can't have a silent alert with a light or something that goes off that we know, okay, well, we have a test coming up. We're a professional broadcaster. You have to have a teletype? Like, I don't get it. We're supposed to be doing professional broadcast here. It's the same machine they've been using for like 40 years. Right. They just put a siren on it. Yeah. That wouldn't be distracting at all. Man. Wow. It's awful. Well, when it happens, I'm just going to... Well, let's let it go because it's important. Okay, so back to the Spinner Magazine thing. What? So they were doing the top 20 best rivalries in music. Okay? And it was like, it had stuff in there like... Like Beatles versus Rolling Stones. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Neil Young versus Leonard Skinner. And just fights. Like famous rock fights. Or just music fights. Tupac and... Biggie. Biggie Smalls. Yeah. Notorious B.I.G. East Coast, West Coast. Notorious B.I.G. And Tupac came in number two.
Number one was Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry. How dare they? Okay, so let me get this straight. Who died in that one? Exactly. Let me get this straight. Tupac gets shot and dies. Yeah. And then after that, Biggie gets shot and dies. Yeah. But Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis, that was a bigger fight, huh? What? I don't even, like, what did they fight about? I have no clue. And that's the thing. You go, I mean, why would you? They said that apparently they got into a fight one time about who was going to go on stage first. Oh, wow. That's hardcore. And so Jerry Lee Lewis went on stage first. No, he didn't. And they were going to share the same piano.
And so when Jerry Lee Lewis left, he poured like gasoline or something on the piano and lit it on fire and said, there you go, Chuck, you're up. You're up, Chuck. That's what the quote was. You're up, Chuck. Number one. Number one. I was like... I'm sorry, what? That guy died. They both died. They both died. That's a pretty big rivalry, by the way. It's impossible. Not according to that. Hey, when we come back, I got some stuff for you. Check this out. When we come back... If it's true, the stuff that Julia Roberts was just saying in private, don't ever say anything in private because somebody hears it. But apparently Julia Roberts was saying some stuff about Angelina Jolie. And if it's true, it's crazy. And I'll tell you what it is next. This is the Mikey Show. That really moved. Gersie, San Diego. Dump check challenge. Guy, what river carved the Grand Canyon? Colorado River. That is correct. Total guess. Oh, come on.
I was like, okay, Mississippi. Well, it can't be the Mississippi. Oh, my God. Let's go. Dumb Chick Challenge. And it's over with the Mikey Show. Running back for the Tennessee Titans, and his name is Chris Brown. Oh, nice. That's right. And very ridiculously, Boston Rob and Zeth started him this last weekend in their fantasy football, even though Lendale White. He's on tour. Yeah. Except touring. Like, why would you start a guy that's on tour? Singer with the same name as the football player. Guy's got to go to ESPN and start checking injury reports. Or tour dates. Or tour dates, yeah. One of the two. But you've got to do one of the two, guys. Yeah, I mean, I was going to start Rod Stewart this week, but guys in New Jersey. That is not a good start, Eddie. I did my research, Mike.
It's 9-16. Axel Rose's assistant says that during the fire in Malibu, Axel helped firefighters save his home. Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt steps down. First of all, I don't want to get an FCC fine. That's numero uno. Second of all, you've been in this industry long enough to know you can't say that on the radio. He should know that. I don't know what you guys are talking about. What did I say that was bad? I'm not going to repeat it so we get another fine. Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt steps down. Oh, that's his name? Yeah, that's his name. Houston Nutt. Color me embarrassed. Oh, you thought I was saying. No, never mind. Georgia Tech fired Chan Gailey. Wasn't he a coach for the Cowboys? What about the guy that's a coach in Nebraska who used to coach the Raiders? Yeah. Isn't he real bad, too? He got fired over the weekend. It's surprising that a bunch of guys that you thought were supposed to be good because they were pro coaches can't make it in the rah-rahs. Like rah-rahs? In the hula's. Former Vice President Gore was honored at the White House for his Nobel Peace Prize win. Pretty nice, right? Yep, very cool. The media was just talking about if it was awkward or not with the president honoring Al Gore after.
You know, their battle for the White House. That's news to me. You know I won, right? Right. So, after the ceremony, Al Gore met privately with the president for about 40 minutes in the Oval Office where they discussed global warming. Conversation. Okay, so here's the story. Who knows that this is true? But apparently, Julia Roberts decided she's going to have some friends over. They're going to watch the movie A Mighty Heart. That's the movie that Angelina Jolie was in, and it was about that guy, Daniel Pearl, that was a media man that was taking pictures for a newspaper. I think the New York Times. Wall Street Journal? Yeah. He's in Iraq. He's beheaded. Terrible story. It's not the feel-good comedy of the year. Definitely not. I didn't want to see it just for that. I don't want to see that. It's too real. It's too real, too sad, too whatever. I don't want to see that.
Julia Roberts has friends over and then starts bagging on, I guess, she starts to go off on Angelina Jolie. Yeah. According to sources, first Julia starts in on Angelina's performance in A Mighty Heart, talking about how she kind of sucked and how Julia thought that she could have done a better job with that film than Angelina did. And then she starts telling stories from the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, because I guess Julia Roberts' husband, Danny Motor, was a cameraman. on the film, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, where Brad and Angelina met. And she says on the set, it was obvious that Angelina was making a play for Brad, even though at the time he was married to Jennifer Aniston, and that behind her back, people on the set would call Angelina Jolie Spider-Woman because it was obvious that she was spinning a web for Brad to fall into. Look at that big smile on Rob's face, thinks that's so funny.
Bad woman. Bad woman. Yeah, pretty crazy. Bad woman. That's true, yeah. Too bad, Kaima. Very bad. Very, watch it. We'll bite her in the butt. Watch. It did. Remember, he had to put his hand over it because it ripped. Shut up. Wow. You guys do weird stuff when you sleep. I don't, but my wife does. Oh, my God. What does she do? Oh, wow. We just hit a spring. We hit an underground spring. Seriously. We hit an underground spring. Dude. Let it out. What does she do? She talks in her sleep. Actually, she'll laugh. In the middle of the night, just laugh, which is creepy. It's kind of scary. She's like, oh, well, I'm having a good dream. I'm like, I don't care. Somebody laughing in pitch black is scary. But then she'll talk, and she scared the crap out of me. It was like last week or a couple weeks ago. monotone voice says, he's getting closer. Shut up. That's crazy. So I jump out of bed and I'm like, where is he? What's going on? Who is getting closer? What's happening? And she's just asleep. He's getting closer. Really? That's great. Well, I'm going to go sleep in the other room. That would freak me out, man. It's brutal. I'm a crazy sleeper.
crazy crazy crazy sleeper what do you do um well i don't know because i'm sleeping but i've been told that i grit my teeth that i kick and flail and like will literally beat the crap out of anyone sleeping next to me and that i even um will have like horror dreams we're all like be bawling and really upset like but asleep yeah my wife will have night terrors too Where she'll wake, like, not wake up, but she's, like, breathing really heavily and, like, sobbing. And I'm just like, get me out of here. I just want to sleep. I just like to sleep. For me, I don't remember my dreams. Like, I don't remember them. So I'll wake up sometimes and just, like... Like I'll be kind of feel weird or like be sweating and like not know at all what happened. And back when I had a boyfriend, he told me like I was literally like shaking and crying and woke up. But I have no recollection. So now that might explain why I like wake up. My mom told me a story this weekend because we're actually talking about this. She told me a story this past weekend that my dad will kick in his dream because he dreams, I guess has a recurring dream, which is kind of creepy. I never even talked to him about it, that he's being chased by the devil.
And so to get away, he'll kick at him. And he'll kick my mom. And she goes, one time he's going to break my leg. And I'm like, whoa, get separate beds. Oh, man. Yeah. I wouldn't want to sleep with that guy. You're like Desi and Lucy for crying out loud. Seriously. Wow. Oh, man. But yeah, people do weird stuff. What is more interesting? The fact that he's kicking in his sleep or he dreams that the devil's chasing him? I don't know. Both of them are pretty interesting. Oh, my God. That's crazy. wow yeah you do weird stuff well i used to when i was younger like all the time like my parents would tell me crazy stuff like um you know uh one night i got up and because i was a sleepwalker i would sleepwalk and i walked into their room and walked into their closet and just started like trying to walk through the wall and they had to wake me up. One time I watched a show on like sea creatures and I got up in the bed and started jumping in the bed and screaming the crabs, the crabs, because I thought crabs were like biting at my feet. One time when there was a huge fire in the Santa Cruz mountains and it was really hot. That's actually what they were going to have tattoos say in Fantasy Island, by the way, before they decided on the plane.
But initially it was supposed to be, that grabs, that grabs. That's weird. And then the most embarrassing one ever was when the Santa Cruz Mountains were on fire. And we had friends staying with us who had some teenage boys. And I was a little preteen girl. It was really hot. So I was just sleeping in my underoos. And I walked downstairs just in my panties screaming fire. But I'm dead asleep. And you were topless? Yes. How old were you? I was like pre-teen. And they were down there? Everybody was down there watching TV. And I walk into the TV room screaming fire in just my panties. That's an embarrassing moment. Maybe don't wear a bra next time. Well, I wasn't. I didn't need to at that point. Look how crazy that sleepwalking thing. You can do things. You can't control it. I am from your wife. Oh, this is going to be good.
What does it say? What does it say? He says, you don't even know you do this. Huh? You don't even know you do this. Oh, no. Oh, my gosh. Would you like me to send you the IM or read it? Send it. Oh, I want to read it. You're so messed up. I know what it is. I know what it is before you send it. Really? But you're not supposed to know. Oh, I'll know what it is. I think I know what it is right now. I'll write it down. I cannot wait for this. Oh, this is going to be good. Go ahead and send it. Is it what you thought? We would have just won. Well, she thinks that I don't know, but I know. I just wrote it down. I fart in my sleep. I just wrote it down on the piece of paper, so she thinks I don't know, I know. I just figure I can get away with it because I'm supposed to be asleep. So you're not even really asleep. But I feel like I can get away with it because I'm like, she'll think I'm sleeping.
And she's a heavy sleeper. She's a heavy sleeper. So I think she's asleep and she doesn't know. You can pop one off real quick. Okay, please don't. But I wrote it down. I wrote it down. What did she say now? What did she say now? She's got to call in. She's got to call in. Rebecca. Hey, babe. Call in. Tell us more. Hey, wait a minute. I didn't know it was time to reveal secrets time. Call in. Don't make it personal. Reveal secrets. Is it time to reveal secrets? No, don't make it personal. Secrets. Dare she. She's the past. How dare she reveal my secrets. You should hear what she does when you do it. What? I know what she does. What? She fans the sheets. Ew. I told you. I'm aware of it. This is the greatest revelation ever. I'm aware of it. Ew. Oh, my God. So now that you know, you guys. I can do it freely now. You can do it freely. It's out there. Congratulations, bro. Or maybe you should stop. Maybe I should stop. It's impossible now. It's impossible to stop. What? Well, thank you for the revelation this morning. I'm crying. I've never said anything about it. Oh, but you thought, oh, now's the perfect time.
Talking about weird stuff that people do in their sleep. That's not weird. I was just sharing a story with my friend Eddie. You should be mad at him for sharing it on the air. Whatever. I see. Rebecca, you're the best. I didn't realize that it was time to share secrets. No, don't you dare. I didn't realize it was time that we get to share secrets of stuff. I have no idea what you're going to say, but just stop. All right. Well, I love you, my precious. You got it. Be careful, Mike. Oh, no. You better be careful. Serious. All right, my love. Okay. Goodbye. This one would. Like Mountain Helens. Oh. Or you at 2 a.m. Pull the top off. P1 Red Bull. P1 Red Bull, you there? Yeah, I'm here. What did you do? I had a story for you four years ago. I was having a bad dream like I was...
Oh, dang. I woke up and I was like, oh, I was dreaming. I was like, oh, but my hand really hurts. I looked down and it's all swollen and went to the doctor the next day and fractured the middle finger knuckle. I moved my bed away from the wall after that happened. Yeah. Probably a good idea. Good idea. Yeah. All right, dude. Thank you for the call. P1 Sanjaya is on the line. Good morning, San Diego. Hi, everybody. Hey, what's up, man? What's going on, dude? Hey, dude. I didn't have a dream, but my girlfriend had a dream. She was sleeping, and I woke up to her beating me because she was dreaming that I was with another girl. Sounds like someone I know. Whatever. At least she does it while she's asleep. Exactly.
She could beat you up when she wakes up. Okay. Congratulations. You're a winner. P1 Drill Instructor. Yeah, I was calling about my wife. She does this stuff all the time. But the scariest time was when we were sleeping. And it was like about morning time. And she was sound asleep. I was just kind of looking at her because I wake up early all the time. And she just stood straight up out of the bed, pointed up towards the ceiling. And it was a one-story house that we lived in at the time. And she said, he's in the attic. He's in the attic. He's screaming real loud. No. No. Oh, God. No. Freaky. That would scare me. Dude. Well, yeah. I don't like that. I don't like that. And she just laid right down back to sleep. Is there anything that can be done about this? What can you do? Please tell me if there is. Okay. Sean. Dude. No. I don't care for this. And thank you, Sean. Keyworm Jessica.
Hey, how you doing? What does your boyfriend do? bed, this guy, and my boyfriend is in bed with him, cuddling, spooning him, and they're like, you know, just sleeping away, and I try to wake him up, and he looks at me. Take a picture. Yeah. You didn't take pictures? Oh, we took pictures. For sure. Of course. That's hysterical. But I'm trying to wake him up, and he's like, refusing. He literally, he wakes up, well, he... He opens his eyes and looks at me, and he's like, leave me alone. He's in his happy place. Oh, yeah. He was, like, dead asleep. And I'm trying to wake him up and, like, literally pull him out of bed. And he's got his hands, like, grasping on the side of the bed, like, refusing to get out. Hillcraft. Oh, boy. Holy cow. Well, it could be really dangerous, you know, like if somebody's doing something weird.
You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I know that a lot of people that do crazy stuff when they sleepwalk, like make full meals and eat. Yeah, turn on the stove. What if you made something that wasn't edible? Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Or if, like, Skye had drank eggnog while she was sleeping? Oh, that'd be terrible. That could happen. What if, Skye? That's happened before. Skye? Well, it's not in the house, so it's not an issue. A thief? I can tell you about something she stole when we come back. Mikey's show is on. I love this show. Ooh, and they still did that for you? Absolutely. Nice. See, that's a great thing. I cannot thank you enough. No, that's cool, dude. Don't thank me. Thank AIS, dude. Sometimes people, when they hear me talking about AIS so much, they don't realize that there are real people out there that are saving the dough, and you're one of them. Absolutely. Because AIS is like a broker. Yeah, I didn't even realize that there were a brokerage, so that's where it really surprised me. It's awesome. All right, here's the phone number, 1-800-777-4AIS. That's 1-800-777-4247. Thank you, dude. I appreciate the phone call. Hey, no problem, Mikey. All right, man, we'll see you. When was the last time you went shopping and got cash back? Above average credit rebates in lieu of APR and Sunday. Hey Mikey, please help me. My wife is breastfeeding and doesn't have a problem doing this wherever she has to. She was doing it at my family's house this past Thanksgiving, and it really gave me the creeps seeing my brother and cousin staring at her doing it. Do you have any advice, P1 Craig? Today, I'm Dr. Fish. Get excited about your lunch. I heard this poor guy's email. I actually had a patient once that was having some trouble with her mothering skills. Oh, really? For anonymity's sake, let's call her Britney Spears. Okay, wait a minute.
Oh, that's an actual person. She would act like a backwoods pig farmer with her children. Driving them around on her lap, dropping them on their head, shooting them up with Pepsi. But I gave her a tip that you may want to pass on. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. It's 9.39. The Dancing with the Stars finale is tonight, and dancer Maxim says that Marie Osmond doesn't deserve to be there. Tragedy strikes the NFL as Redskins' Sean Taylor passes away at the age of 24 from a gunshot wound from an apparent burglary attempt. That's Fergie. She's Fergie-licious. Welcome back to the show. So, Paris Hilton more and more strikes me as a very immature young woman. Really? Well, I say... Let me rephrase. Like, more immature than your average girl her age. Okay.
Much more immature. Listen to this comment. Cut 15. Yeah, I'm so happy for Nicole. I know she's going to be an amazing mother. And she's having the baby in two months. So I'm very excited. And I definitely want to have children. Not right now. I'm not ready yet. But next couple years, I'd love to get married and have my own family. That sounds like a little girl. That sounds like something that a little girl would say. That they want to be married and have kids in the next couple of years. That's not really how it works. Well, yeah, because when you're a grown-up, you go, you know, well, when it happens. Yeah, when I meet the right person and if we decide to have children. Right. But, I mean, I'm saying that literally. I don't mean it figuratively. A nine-year-old little girl would say that exact thing. Right. That just struck me as so odd. Those of you that are Kid Rock fans, this may or may not bother you.
Cut 18. Kids ready to end 2007 with a whole new look. I definitely want to cut it. I think this is the last record with the hair. I've had enough. I think it's going off. Slick it back. Right off into the sunset. He's cutting his hair off. Short haircut time for him. Eva Longoria apparently takes stuff from the set of Desperate Housewives, meaning wardrobe. And you're not supposed to. She's not supposed... Maybe some people can. Maybe some people on TV shows, maybe they got that in their contract that, like, the different clothes that they get to wear. Right. They get to keep. In fact, I think that SJP did that. Yeah, that sounds familiar. Sarah Jessica Parker, when she was on Sex and the City, she used to get to keep a bunch of that stuff. But, like, if you're a normal dude or a normal guy that's an actor, you don't get to... If you're some guy...
on a TV show, and they put you in some nice Armani suit, guess what? You don't get to go home with it. It belongs to the studio that makes the TV show. You would want to. It's an expensive suit. But what does Eva Longoria take home? Well, so I guess the other day, Eva was on Melrose when the heel of her shoe broke. And so she went into the store and was like... Melrose Avenue? Yeah. and and was frantic asking them right there in escondido no no i'm assuming this is in beverly hills you know that's just my assumption i mean it could be escondido but i just i just assumed she was at that vista shopping center yeah weird but anyways so um yeah so the heel of her shoe broke so she went into a store and asked them if they could help her you know get like some super glue and repair it And so she told them that she had to get it repaired or she'd be in deep trouble because it was actually from the wardrobe of her show. And then they go, oh, well, this is just super glue. Like, it may break again. And she goes, oh, that's okay. If it breaks on the set, I'll just act surprised. Good one. Yeah, that's pretty funny. We need a guy and a girl to play P1 Trivia.

We'll get it up on the website, send you a link. Send you the link. Send the link. And it'll be great. So get in on that P1 text army. We need a guy and we need a girl to play P1 trivia. We've got all updated questions. There may be a couple in there that I think that we've asked before. But for the most part, we've got all brand new Mikey Show P1 questions. It's a pretty cool experience coming in here. Everybody that does really enjoys it. They're kind of surprised that it's off the air exactly what it is on the air. That's for sure. Dysfunctional and weird. We all drew names yesterday, by the way, of who's going to buy who presents. Now, I don't think we should go outside of that because people feel bad. What if you get me something, Eddie, and you know what I mean? I don't want to feel bad. I'm not going to. We all drew names. I'm sticking with the rules. I drew Sean. Eddie, who did you get? I got B. Rizzy. Sky, who did you get? You, McGuette. I was so excited. I know. She's pretty upset about it. Sean? Well, you know, I got Ashley, but she's not too thrilled about that. Ashley, who did you get? I got Eddie.
Boston Rob got, I think, Zeth. Perfect. Zeth, who'd you get? Sky. Oh, there you go. Natural. Hey, Sky, why don't you and Zeth switch? Well, because that's not cool. Why? You can't trade. You can't trade? No. When I can buy myself something nice? No, I would get you. I would be getting something for you and... Oh, no, that is right. P1 Gen. Yes. Can you come in the studio on Friday? Yes. How old are you? 25. Okay, hang on. Charles, are you there? Oh, man, your phone is not very loud. You got to talk right into that phone for me, bro. Hello. There you go. Much better. Much better. Hi. All right, Charles, how old are you? I just turned 21 yesterday. How long have you been listening to Mikey's show? I remember the first bit you guys did was the protesters versus the protesters. Oh.
Then you've been listening a long time. You've been listening a very long time. Yeah. And it's the first bit that he heard when he started listening, which means he's been listening a long time. And Jen, how about you? How long have you been listening? About two years. Perfect. Perfect. I hope you guys are telling the truth, because last week it was a bad group of people. They didn't know anything last week. Hopefully you guys will make it different. Skye, who started first last time, guys or girls? The guys did. All right. Jen? What do you want? A one, two, or three-point question? Give me a two, Mike. You got it. Your question is, which member of the show has a brother that owns a company called Rockstar Hot Dogs? Mikey? That is correct. Hey, put it on the board. Go! P1 Charles. Yes. One, two, or three-point question. I'll go with a three. You got it. Oh, wow. Look at your face. What is the new game on the Mikey Show where you guess lyrics of songs? Lyrical Gangsta. You got it. Oh, wow. I'm a strong. Hello. Jen. Give me a three, Mikey. Whoa. Out of the gate. She wants to try to wrap it up. Wow.
Your three-point question is, who on the show is pigeon-toed? Ashley. That is, wow. Wow. That may be the fastest P1 trivia we've ever done ever. Outrageous. I didn't think anybody would get that question. We've only mentioned it once or twice. Those are all hard questions. Yeah, they were hard. Congratulations. I'll pull it away. Jen, you won P1 Trivia. Hang on the line, will you? Charles? Yes? I'm very sorry. You're not in charge today. You're going to have to try again next time, bro. All right, thank you. All right, see you. Hey, listen. It's not easy when you do it as good as Jen. That's pretty surprising. That was impressive. Yeah, it was. And I'm kind of bummed. We had some pretty good questions here today. Save them. We're going to save them because we got some pretty good ones. Save them. What is Skye's favorite?
pork product. That's not even a one point question. Oh, come on. Who wrote that? That's like a zero point question. Thank you. Come on. I wrote that because I just wanted to put that in there. I'm not going to lie. I wonder if my wife heard the conversation earlier about the cats. I just want to bring it up because I don't want to do it anymore. We kind of covered that before. Kind of. Have we covered that on? With her input? Have we? I don't know. I don't think so. Eddie's shaking his head no. I recall that we have. I don't know. I don't remember. Well, then what did she say, Ash? Yeah, what did she say? This was a really long time ago, though. See, I don't even remember. Honestly, I don't. What did she say? I don't remember. Ash, can you hear me? Anything else I can do for you today? Eddie right now. Want me to get her on the phone? Eddie right now has his head back. Hi, Eddie.
And he's pretending that he's staring the car in a straight direction, and then it got swerved off suddenly to the left, killing all people on board. I love you, Green. I love you, Green. Airbags did not deploy. They didn't? Nope. So what happened? Everybody went right through the windshield. Oh, no. We were. That's how strong the accident was. We just didn't see it coming. Well, there were one or two survivors, but Eddie pulled out a pistol and shot them all in the head. He wanted to put them out of their misery. All right. There they go. Well, what are you thinking, Eddie? What's going through your head? Oh, no. So, should I get her on the phone? Don't ask you. Yeah, get her on the phone. All right, I will. Get her on the phone. Rebecca, Rebecca. How are you over there cheering? Your job at your home is correspondence. Thank you. It's a big job. Oh, you're the worst. She's incredible.
And incorrigible. Yeah. And she's over here preaching to me, you be fair, you know. You better have equality in that house. Take care of those cats that aren't even yours. That's right. You better pick up a job she's doing and blah, blah, blah. Yeah, I'll tell you what job I'd like. Correspondence. Oh, thank you. If you don't do that at your house, you're not capable of it. Let me do that. What is that? Getting the mail? Is that what you do? And paying the bills and making appointments and filing the paperwork and keeping things organized. What are you, his secretary? I'm our secretary for our family. Hi, honey. Hi. What can we do about this? Well, here's the deal. Let me explain to P1s that don't know what I'm talking about. Basically, we have cats. We have three of them. Their names are Jules. He's a black cat. He's a male. Ginger, his sister, she's an obese cat. She's, what is she? Very lovable. True. She's not black like her brother. She's like multicolored. That's right. She whines all the time. Stick to the issue at hand, please. And then there's Sidney. He's a wiry, skinny creep. He's French. He's French. He's a creep. We hate you. And he's creepy. Okay. Anyway, I don't like any of them. Stop. Except for...
I kind of like Jules. I have a respect for him. We have a mutual respect. First of all, you can't kill him. He's tried. He's gotten every kind of illness you can think of, and he just keeps on ticking. But when Rebecca got pregnant, I was put in charge of taking the litter out. And I don't like them, and I don't like the job. I don't like them, and I don't like that job. And they have this mat, this rubber mat that sits on the, it's like a little lip. It sits, the rubber mat is on the entrance of their kitty litter box. And they've started urinating on it. I have to empty it out and clean it and stick it back there. It's terrible. And I don't even want the cats.
And so I don't want to do that job anymore. And you owe me. You told everybody I fart in my sleep. Well, so are you asking me something? No, I'm not. I'm begging you. I'm begging you. Okay, well, let's do a little exercise here. Oh, no, you're dead. You're dead. Let's review. It's already over. Stick a fork in, bro. Let's review household chores that belong to Mike. Bringing home the bacon. There are three. Bringing home the bacon. That's the first one. The most important one. Let her speak. Bringing home the bacon. Let her speak. This is America, man. Fine. I'm talking about household chores. Household chores. There are three. Skye, how are you over there cheering? Skye's over there pumping her fists. She's in charge of correspondence at her house. She makes phone calls. Taking out the trash.
Number one. Yes. Number two, taking out the cat litter once a week. Taking out the trash, taking the trash out the street. Right. Okay. That's one. Yeah. Okay. Number three, changing the occasional light bulb when it burns out. Well, you know, household chores. The light bulbs, the air filters. I've been doing that forever. Okay. Now, let's review... The household chores that are Rebecca's responsibility. Let's do it. It's going to take a while. Now, are these the ones that Rosa doesn't do? Yes. Okay. Rosa's our housekeeper. Oh, my gosh. Of course. Go ahead. Okay. It's real easy. There's one, and it's everything else. Oh. Nice. Everything else. Nice.
Everything. Wow. I think she's got you, Mike. Wow. I mean, how do you fight that? I know. You don't. You don't fight it. I mean, look at the board. You don't. How? Skye. Do you want to propose a... It's on the board. You can put it out there. No. You don't even want to ask? No. Okay. Listen, I'm done. Put a fork in me. How do you respond to that? How do I respond? No. How do I? I'm saying how do I? It's getting worse. I can't. I can't fight it. I got to keep taking out that litter. But if it's really that bad for you don't want to propose a trade of some sort, you take on. I'd rather propose a toast. You do everything else and I'll start taking out the litter. I'm not fighting you. I do something else and you do the litter? No. You do everything else and I'll start taking out the litter. Everything. What is everything? Everything. Like what? Like what? No, no, no, no. I do. Like what? Well, I do all of the laundry. Yes. For you, for me, and for Jake. That is true. Jake cannot do his own laundry yet. That's true. I clean up after you and me and Jake.
Now, what does that mean exactly? Now, my wife does not like it when I leave my clothes on the floor. And I'm trying to get better at that. Well, just like when Jake plays with his toys and he doesn't put them away after because he's not old enough. Right. Whenever you take anything out, you don't put it away except for that you're old enough to do that. You know what? I'm going to fix that. Because I'd like to get somewhere with this whole litter thing. I'm going to fix that. No more Mike not putting his stuff away. This is how important the litter is to me. No more Mike not putting his stuff away. I will put the stuff away. It's done, honey. In fact, we'll write a contract. No more clothes on the floor from this moment on, henceforth from November 2707. No more clothes on the floor. No more leaving stuff laying around. Well, that would be great. I mean, that would be awesome. But I proposed my trade. So that's it? Yeah. So I either take over laundry and... No, no, no. Everything else. I know, but I asked you to list everything else. Oh, well, I'm not done. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go ahead. Okay. Because two out of the three I've said right now, I'll fix it.
I'll fix it. Two of those three, out of your hands. Okay. I do all of the dishes, and that includes whenever you make something. You don't wash the dishes. You just put them in the sink. I do them. I do all of the bill paying. Correspondence. Correspondence. I do. I do all of the correspondence. It's a big job, Rebecca. Now, wait a minute. Hang on a second. Time out. Time out. Oh, no. She's got to do the correspondence. You see, I am capable of the other things, but if I start doing the correspondence, bye-bye Mikey House. Okay, so some of these there's not really any discussion about. You know, it's like saying, you know, one of my jobs is I'm tall. Okay, great. I can't do that. So that one we have to take off the board. Okay.
Are we missing anything? Because so far... Yeah, we are missing some things. Wait a minute. Hydroponics has a suggestion. Hydroponics, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What is your suggestion? I think I have the solution. You already have the maid there doing stuff. Rosa, why don't you just have her take it out for you? I'd be willing to pay. Extra. She would. What are you paying for? Except for she only comes every two weeks. I think it's time to have Rosa come over a little more than every two weeks. Personally. Personally. I mean, I think there's always things to be done. So we're going to have her come over two more times a month so that you don't have to do cat litter. Honey, thank you. That was really sweet. That wasn't even awesome. I just want to thank Mikey this morning for staying on the air. You know, it's my one day off during the weekend. You guys totally rock it. Dude, I appreciate that, man. And I'm like, and I go, dude, I go, my favorite part of when you call in is when you do that nerd voice. And he goes, I don't do a voice. Can I really talk? And it is. I'm not putting on a voice, though. Right. Failed to see the essence of that joke. Oh, it was awesome. So they named that new panda cub at the zoo. They named it Jen Jen? By the way, the deadline is approaching for sending mail and holiday stuff to the people in the military. Yeah, so if you want to send packages to Iraq or Afghanistan by, you know, standard mail, you need to get those out by December the 4th. Now, mail headed to other overseas locations by December 11th, and then within the U.S. you have until December 15th. There you go. Get on it. Let's see. Mike Sherman, who used to be the head coach of the Packers, took the job at Texas A&M. So he's in. Yeah, he was their offensive line coach there in the 90s. So he had some ties to the school. So they figured out what Phillip Rivers was saying to the crowd when he was walking off the field. He said, shut up. He was mad that they were yelling at him and screaming at him. They were booing him. Yeah, he wasn't doing good. I told you this earlier. We were talking about the new releases that are coming out today. Hearts of Darkness is a... It's a documentary on the movie Apocalypse Now. Cut 36. This is Coppola. I never cared for the ending so much. I always thought the ending was weak. The ending didn't top what had happened with the helicopters and it didn't answer any of the kind of moral issues. It got into a real gung-ho, macho kind of comic book ending. Sean, have you seen Apocalypse Now yet?
No. Oh, that is a painful, painful thing to hear. But I did see Beowulf. Did you like it? It was alright. It was good. He only thought it was alright. I bet he would hate Apocalypse Now. It's one of my favorite movies ever. I can still see it again. I've seen it a million times. I can still see it again. Here is the owner of the Redskins, Daniel Snyder, talking about Sean Taylor. Safety for the Redskins that just died. Here he is talking about the shooting. Cut six. On behalf of the Redskins and the players and everyone here at Redskin Park, our hearts and prayers go out to Sean and his family. Myself and a group of Redskins are on our way to Miami. We really don't... I have any details other than what everyone else has been reading and reporting. We have as well. But we appreciate very, very much the outcry of support. And we're just hearts and prayers with Sean and his family. Thanks so much. You know, maybe it was a random burglary. But it doesn't seem like that. No.
No, the same house was broken into eight days earlier, but Sean wasn't home at the time. Really? And so, apparently, you know, they came back? Do you have any details about the first break-in? Yeah, they say that just a couple drawers in the bedroom where somebody went through them, and then a knife was left in the middle of the bed, just laying there. Oh, that's creepy. yeah and then they say you know this time with the shooting that like they they woke up because they heard a noise downstairs so he got up to close and lock the bedroom door and somebody kicked it in and shot him and took off and you would think if it's a normal burglar they would just take off they wouldn't go towards the people that live there right you know they would just immediately run right so it sounds like somebody knew what was going on and was after him because if they are if they broke in whatever like a week prior why wouldn't they have just robbed the whole place at that point because no one was home but they just went through a couple drawers and left a knife on the bed it's bad this is what is uh what you know what about his wife or his girlfriend because she was there at the time right yeah so you would think she's a witness to everything
And they didn't kill her. Right. Yeah, they didn't. And that's how they know exactly what happened, because it's from her telling the story. Huh. Yeah. I mean, I wonder what kind of description she's got and all that stuff. Yeah, it says investigators are looking for a, quote, unknown suspect. Oh, it's just so it's only one person they're looking for. Sounds like it. Wasn't a couple of people that broke in there. They're looking for one suspect. Here's Clinton Portis, the running back for the Redskins, talking about it. Cut four. I don't know, man. It's an unfortunate situation. You think back to times and how much heat he took for everything. Every missing camp, missing this, not being around for this, missing rookie symposium. You come to the realization all that means nothing now that he's fighting for his life.
Hopefully the prayers come from everybody and he pulled through the situation. But now you got your back against the wall and everything that it seems was so big at the time that everybody made a big ordeal about is really nothing now. Because now this man is fighting for his life and we need him to pull through and our prayers with him and hopefully he'll be alright. It's sad because he was showing signs of improvement. He was able to grab his doctor's hand. And he was showing signs of improvement. And then the news broke this morning and he's passed away. A very young man. He's only 24 years old. And what was even more sad is that he was so incredibly talented. He was a really, really, really good football player. Had a little baby. He had a baby. He had a checkered past. This guy's been in trouble for stuff before. So it makes you wonder, man, what was going on there? I can't wait to hear what the wife or the girlfriend is saying.
Hopefully they find somebody. Anybody see Monday Night Football last night? Yeah, of course. What a slop fest. It looked like they were playing soccer. Because there was no markings on the field. It just was a green field. Except for the end zone. Where was this at? Pittsburgh. It rained like crazy. And there was even a delay of the game because of the rain and lightning and stuff. And the field was so bad. Like there was no drainage. So like all the water just stayed on top and it was all torn up. And I mean, it was awful. It was really gross. I've never seen a field like that before. It was just all green. All the numbers had washed away. So they're just out there running around. It looked like soccer. And they're like having to guess where the, you know, the guys on TV are trying to like guess what yard line they're on. Because you can't tell. It's crazy. It was like playing on a swamp. 570-1053, call about anything you want. We got to get out of here. Beginning and end of every show, you can call in about anything you want to. This is Helio Castroneves. He's married to Ashley Judd. He's on Dancing with the Stars. No, no, he's not. He's not? No. There's another indie driver that's married to her. Helio Castroneves is not the guy that's married to Ashley Judd? No. He's an indie driver though, right? Yes. And he is on Dancing with the Stars. Correct. Who is...
Ashley Judd married, too. I don't know. We can Google it real quick. So this is him talking about Thanksgiving. Cut 20. Turns out the South American race driver wasn't quite up to speed on our American tradition. Elio is from Brazil, so he doesn't really understand the whole Thanksgiving thing. And we were explaining it to you, and you thought we hated it. pilgrims. When you said it, you said pilgrims. I thought it was pelican. That's what I'm saying. I confused the name pelicans with pelicans. I know there's a bird involved. For like five minutes, that's cute. Yeah, Ashley Judd's husband is Dario Franchitti? Franchitti? Excuse me. Well said. Thank you. Now I feel silly for saying Helio. It's okay. We all make mistakes. Helio Castroneves. Whatever. It's Elio. Elio. Elio. Elio, Elio. That's it. I think we've gotten to everything. Denzel was on Oprah, but none of the stuff really looks that interesting to me. I think we're good, guys. Let's hit the road. Let's hit the road, Jack. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, Mikey. This is Johnny. P1 Johnny. What's up, Johnny? What's up, man? Just saying you guys are funny as hell and just saying hi to my brother that's listening to you. He's in another job, that's why. Awesome. Yeah, Juan Carlos. Thank you. Thanks, man.
Thank you very much. I appreciate you calling in. A couple stuntmen got burned during the Adam Sandler movie that's being filmed right now. Yeah, it was pretty bad, they say. One burned on the hands and legs, another on his back. They were on the Universal Studios lots filming the movie You Don't Mess With the Zohan. Yeah, Adam Sandler plays this Israeli intelligence agent that fakes his death so he can come to New York City to be a hairstylist. To comedy. Yeah. Boy, sounds good. Mikey Show. What's up? Nothing. I just had a legitimate question there for Shawnee O'Boy. Yes, go ahead, please. I wanted to know if he had his sister Shinshin over for Thanksgiving and is he going to have her over for Christmas? That's a legitimate question. Good call. Sean. What up? I don't know. Maybe I'll have your mother over for a romp in the bedroom. Wow. Dude, hey, go for the joke.
Yeah, I mean, that was weird. It was just weird. I was not expecting it. Eddie, you snuck that one in. I heard what you did. P1 Steve. Steve, are you there? Hey, how are you doing? Oh, great. Oh, I need a shower. What's up? I wanted to make a point that when you guys were talking about starting to back the house and burning down the garage and things like that. Uh-huh. that when you mentioned how hunters will sometimes, the fires that they're lost in the woods or the mountains. Right. Don't forget in 2003, that's how the Cedar fire started. Cedar. Cedar. Is it really? Is that how that thing started? Scott, how come you didn't say that when I was saying it? Well, because I thought it, and then I'm like, and I was like 95% sure. I'm like, if I'm not 100% sure, I'm going to take so much crap for saying this, so I didn't say it. But yeah. I go to the theater. There you go. Thank you very much for the call.
Mikey Show. Hello. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Hey, hey, I love your show, and I just got one small suggestion. Go ahead. Is it possible to add some bass to Skye's mic? I end up turning the bass up, and then you guys sound like Godzilla. You ask an interesting question, sir. Stop it. Why? I know the technology's there. If we could just get a little bass on her mic. Oh, really? That would be great. Oh, would it be great? Technology's there, huh? Well, then come figure it out. Because we can't. Lovely and talented Missy is up next. She has the all-request lunch today for the Nooner. It's going to be awesome. I suggest you tune in.
And then we'll meet back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. We'll do it all over again. The Mikey Show's out late.
